Bobby Bones, everybody.
We're transmitting across America.
This is a Bobby Bolle show.
Come on, Bobby.
Hi, good morning.
Welcome to Tuesday show.
More studio!
Morning!
Yeah.
Apparently, Lunchbox is having a battle over the leaves in his yard.
Do you guys know about this story?
No.
Okay, go ahead, Lunchbox.
I was doing yard work, raking the leaves in my yard, and my neighbor comes out and said,
hey, I'll leave the gate open so you can come rake the ones in my yard.
I said, no, no, no, no, those are your leaves.
He goes, they came from your tree.
You're supposed to rake them.
Dang.
Wow.
Dang.
Is that how it works?
No, no, no.
It's wherever the leaves fall from, wherever they land, and that's whose leaves they are.
How do you feel about this, Amy?
Yeah, I mean, if they're in your yard, you,
break them because they could blow from any old tree.
It could blow from a tree, forced houses down.
Do you have to go knock on the door?
Mr. Jones.
Well, according to the neighbor's logic, yes.
We did a 23-Me tree, and we found out the DNA comes from your tree.
We need you to clean them up.
Yeah, that's a weird one.
I would say that if you are blowing leaves into their yard, that's a no-no.
Right, I don't do that.
But if it's falling from a tree, there's really not much you can do about that.
What do you say back?
Sorry, man, I'm not going to be able to get to that today.
Maybe later this week.
Just blow them off.
See, I did their blow, blow off.
That's weird that he would think because they fell from your tree.
You actually, I don't even know if you own the tree.
I think I do because it's on my property.
Yeah.
But he doesn't come to me in the summer and give me money for keeping his house shaded and lowering his electric bill.
Ooh, good one.
How long do you think of that one?
I just thought of it right now.
You know, people can get on Facebook, our listeners, and say what they think about this.
I just don't know that if I can, and I can always find the other side, just look at the perspective.
I can't really see me going.
Not this time.
Your tree, blue, those, because everybody's trees blowing, everybody's leaves in everybody's yard.
Right.
Right, that's what happens when it's winter, the leaves fall and they fall all over the place.
Fall.
Oh.
Yeah, fall.
Yeah, fall.
Recognizing people doing cool things.
It's ICU.
Do you think a lot of times when you,
you see the stories about cars on railroad tracks and a train's coming, that that's just drama
for TV?
I don't, I get, maybe.
I'm always like, how in the world does that happen?
Me too, and it's on TV a lot, but in real life, not so much.
However, an Arizona trooper saved a man's life when he dragged the driver out of a car
and then a train hit it seconds later.
The crazy thing to me is, is that a car stops on that little bit of train track.
And then the odds of it actually getting stuck there.
And then the odds of a train happened to come.
It's a lot of odds.
Right.
Trooper Henry Ronehorse was driving home.
He saw a car on the railroad tracks.
The 56-year-old driver was unconscious behind the wheel.
Again, on top of the railroad tracks.
So he runs up, takes the man's seatbelt off.
Train's coming.
Choo-choo!
He was able to pull him from the vehicle.
Like 18 seconds later, the train collided with the car and threw it 150 feet.
Wow.
All that is just crazy.
Shout out to the trooper who saw it.
And acted.
I wonder if the guy left his car
on purpose.
I started to think that, but I didn't want to say inside.
I see it.
I see you.
The Bobby Bones Show.
Big three stories.
It's producer Raymond.
Panera bread is recalling their cream cheese.
It could make you sick.
Take it back for a full refund.
In health news, schools in 12 states have closed to fight the flu outbreak.
Some have been closing for.
a couple days so that work crews can come in and disinfect the school.
And finally in weather news, the Northeast is going to get slammed with two snowstorms this week.
Some places could see over eight inches of snow because of the two storms.
The Bobby Bones Show, Bobby Bones.
Remember when Jason Aldine was in and he recommended some show on Netflix?
I don't even know what it was.
The five or...
Yeah, the five.
That sounds right.
Our phone screener Hillary watched it over this past weekend, right?
Yeah, I finished it in one day.
The whole thing?
Yeah.
Did you have nothing to do?
I had nothing to do Saturday.
How many episodes?
It was only 10 episodes.
Only 10 episodes.
10 hours.
What?
Well, I woke up at 7 in the morning and then watched till noon and then came home late and just stayed up late watching it.
Is that good?
It was so good.
It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I don't like over-hyping things.
And you don't like TV?
I don't like TV.
That's the thing.
But I love the show.
I don't like overhyping things, but it's the best show I've ever seen.
That's tough.
She hasn't seen them any things.
Oh, that's true.
People only seen two shows.
But you liked it a lot?
Yeah, it was really good.
What's the brief synops?
of the show? So this five-year-old
kid goes missing and 20
years later his DNA is found at a
crime scene and therefore these
four kids they were there, they were the last ones to see
this kid missing. One of them's the brother
of the kid. And so now 20 years later
we're following these four friends. One of them's a cop
so he's investigating the murder and then
trying to figure out if this kid's alive, if he's dead, if somebody's playing a joke
on them. So these 10 episodes, there's just so much
more that goes on and it's mind-blowing, it's crazy.
It's the best show you've ever seen.
One of the best shows I've ever seen.
It's on Netflix.
It's on Netflix.
I'm curious, what are the other best shows you've ever seen?
I don't know.
What are we up against here?
What else would you say is the best show you've ever seen?
I don't know.
I really just don't watch TV.
That's the only show she's ever seen.
That's probably at the top.
I just finished Gossip Girl and I didn't, I don't know.
The ending was not very good, so I didn't like it.
I'm just looking at the play in film here.
That's what I'm against you guys.
So no gossip girl.
Have you ever seen Walking Dead?
No.
Breaking Bad?
No.
Mm.
Have you ever seen Dexter?
No.
The Crown?
I watched one episode of The Crown.
I just couldn't get into it.
It's too slow.
You have to watch three episodes or you'll never get into it.
Yeah, it takes a minute.
Okay, so the five.
I need to watch it now just to see what the plane is.
I know, me too.
She's like, yeah.
I watch Fraggle Rock, and it's the greatest I've ever seen.
What's the show you're watching right now?
It doesn't have to be new, but whatever you're into right now.
Amy, do you have anything?
Oh, I've been dabbling with The Mind Hunter.
Yeah.
But you have kids, so what are you watching with them that's new to you?
Oh, Flash.
The Flash.
Yeah.
Over and over.
And Supergirl.
So they like superhero shows.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Lunchbox.
Bloodline.
I'm on the final season, season three, and it is so good.
Everybody says it's so good, but I just look at the previews and go, but I know it's got to be good.
I've never met someone that says watch Bloodline wasn't good.
It's good every time.
Producer Eddie, are you watching anything that's good?
Oh, I'm still watching the crowd.
Brown? Oh, yes.
Are you a lucky leprechaun?
No, I'm from London. I'm from England.
No, no.
It sounds like you're from Ireland.
I'm almost all the way down with all the seasons of Rick and Morty.
It's the funniest show I've ever seen.
I don't recommend it to anyone either.
What is it?
Is it a cartoon?
Yeah.
Oh.
Yes.
Like a kid show?
No.
Go ahead.
It looks like the Good Lordson is a conversation.
Yeah, kind of.
Like South Park, kind of.
It's like, hey Rick, I don't know what we're going to do today.
Well, Morty, we got a good.
getting the spaceship and...
Yeah, it's for good, dude.
That sounds like everything the kids watch at home.
Yeah, but it's adult.
It's adult humor.
Okay.
Raymond, anything you're watching at all?
Bachelor?
A lot of drama.
As always.
All right, so it's called the five, Hillary.
Okay, that sounds like the most adult show
of all that we're watching, really,
except maybe lunchboxes, but yeah.
Time for the positivity.
Appreciate everybody being here.
I go first.
A dental clinic founder.
perform $60,000 worth of surgery for free on a Vietnam War veteran to pay him back for a service.
Wow.
The guy was like, I don't have enough money to get all this done.
And he said, but you did pay in service, so I like to pay for this.
Boom.
That's awesome.
That's a tell me something good.
Amy, go.
So this woman, Diana, and her aunt, they were searching for a dresser to refurbish,
and they discovered inside one of those old dressers they found some old pictures and a World War II medal.
So they took pictures of it.
threw it up on Facebook trying to track down who these pictures and the metal belonged to.
And the grandson of the guy in the photos from World War II was like, that's my grandpa.
So he was able to get the pictures and the medal and is something that's super special.
How about that?
Lunchbox, you're up.
A couple weeks ago, I was at Disney for a soccer tournament.
My buddy lost his wallet.
Lost it.
Oh, no.
Two weeks later, someone mailed it back to him.
They found it with his ID.
Put it in the mail, all the money, credit cards in the wallet.
That's amazing.
This is a personal story.
Personal story.
And they said, Mickey would want me to return it on the note.
Mickey!
Wow, look at that.
Pretty cool.
That's pretty cool.
He's been holding that one, his back pocket.
I was excited.
Yeah, they're the personal story.
Yeah.
Bobby Ball.
Amy, do you believe hotels can be haunted or a barn?
I stayed at one that supposedly haunted before, but my husband and I were there and nothing happened.
I think it's, no, I don't really think they're haunted.
But don't you think.
two, that when they tell you it's haunted, your brain automatically goes, oh, let me look
for things that also lead to the fact that it could be haunted, like a sound.
Yeah.
I have this joke in my stand-up act that is, how come only ghosts are from the 1800s?
We only hear them rattling, change, and going, ye old, don't come near me.
How come there are no ghosts from the 90s?
People died then, too.
How come we never walk in on the ghost?
And we're like, ladies gentlemen, this is Mambo number five.
You know, that's the joke.
I hate revealing jokes
but it's pretty funny joke right
So
I was reading this story about the haunted toilet
At these people's house
Do you guys see this?
No
What?
Yeah
So you tell me
It throws water up on it?
No
So the toilet
randomly flushed for days
Ooh
Oh boy
And they kept looking in it
They were convinced
That it was
A ghost in the toilet
Are you sure the handle
wasn't stuck
The handle wasn't stuck
So what they did
Is they brought someone
to take the toilet out
They looked in it and they found a 13-foot snake.
So gross, so gross, so gross.
Whoa.
In the wear.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Inside the tank.
The cistern.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
So the snake was flush in the toilet.
Yeah.
The snake was in the toilet.
Steve, everybody thought it was a ghost.
Yeah.
The snake.
They did a whole list of states that are the worst possible states to live in.
Oh, that's easy.
What?
Is it?
Yeah.
Which one?
West Virginia.
Why?
I don't know. I just hear bad things about that place.
West Virginia did not make the bottom five.
Wow.
I've never heard anything bad about West Virginia in my life.
I just did from lunchbox. I was like, wow.
Have you ever even stepped foot in West Virginia?
Not that I know of.
He was like, this is easy.
Here are the worst five states they said I live in.
Number 50, Illinois. That's the worst.
Really?
Connecticut, 49.
Rhode Island, 48.
Why did nobody?
That one.
I don't know much about Rhode Island.
See, it sounds kind of boring.
But you do Illinois and Connecticut?
Yeah, Chicago.
I've been to Chicago.
And it's cool.
Okay.
I've never been to Connecticut.
I've been to Rhode Island.
Yeah.
Because I went to the Tennis Hall of Fame.
In Rhode Island?
For Rodix induction was there.
It was awesome.
Is it pretty out there?
It's so small.
I mean, you take a step to the left and you're out of there.
Louisiana and Mississippi make the last of the top five.
And the best states were Maine, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.
I'm surprised the colder states get in there just because of the temperate.
Yeah.
Where's Hawaii and California?
Expensive.
Expensive.
You're forgetting about that kind of stuff too.
I was just thinking about...
Texas makes one of the less of the best.
Good.
But I'm just happy to Arkansas and I make the bad list.
Yeah.
Progress, baby!
Shout out, Governor Hutchinson!
Bobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Norrie of the day.
This story comes to us from Beaumont, Texas.
A 25-year-old man broke out of jail, got away.
They're like, man, where'd he go?
Two hours later, he got busted breaking back in with a
bottle full of booze.
I saw this guy.
That's hilarious.
He went out to get stuff.
He also had some food and he had some bad stuff with him too.
Yeah, he had tobacco, snacks, fruit, and a large amount of home-cooked food.
Yeah.
So he's trying to break back in.
Well, no, no.
He was just leaving for a minute to go get some stuff and coming back.
He wasn't really breaking back in.
He was sneaking back in.
He broke out, snuck back in.
Gotcha.
But I wonder how many times he'd done that before because it was all ready for him.
Yeah.
cheese and crackers.
You need something
could just like
drop it off
or something.
Hit some gushers?
They hit the whole
thing.
I'm lunchbox
that's your
Bonnet story
of the day.
Bobby Bones
everybody.
Transmitting
across America.
This is a
Bobby Bollom show.
Come on Bobby.
Yeah.
Eddie, you saw
boss baby with your kids
right?
I did, yeah.
And they're
four and nine,
I guess four and ten now.
Ten now, yes.
And they loved it?
Yeah, and I loved it.
I thought that was hilarious.
Amy watched it with her kids
And hers are 7 and 10
Oh, I thought it was horrible
And I had a friend over that
You know, I mean, we're cool people
And I thought it was horrible
We turned it off halfway through
It was so negative
I did not like it
I didn't want my children exposed to that negativity
That baby was so negative
And it's hilarious though
No no no no
It wasn't even funny
And I mean, I know humor
Okay
By the way Amy's told us how cool she is
And how funny she is
Both are the same
Yes I just thought it was
It's not a feel-good kid movie.
You know, he had just come off of a movie like trolls,
which was amazing and funny and cute.
Adults can enjoy it.
Kids can enjoy it.
Love that.
Boss baby?
No.
And now it's haunting me because my kids, they're mad
because I turned it off halfway through
to turn on something more positive.
And now all they want is boss baby.
And then they say, Mom, where's boss baby?
What happened to boss baby?
Oh, we're not going to watch that.
It's due negative.
And then they pull up previews.
Stuff comes up on their little tablet for apps.
like with the boss baby.
I'm like, that boss baby is tricking children all around the land.
It's not.
Wow.
Eddie loved it.
Oh, yeah.
And I remember the theater was cracking up.
I brought audio in.
They're like everything.
And Amy hated it.
Amy.
The funny one, the cool one hated it.
Yeah, and my friend is funny and cool too.
Amy, let them watch it.
No, we're done so with that.
Amy's always telling me how she's the cool mom.
I think she's just convincing herself.
Tiffany and Tampa's on.
You heard Amy talking about boss baby, Tiffany.
what do you think about this?
I think she needs to give it a chance because the ending is great.
Well, don't spoil it for me.
I'm still waiting to see it.
I'm sorry.
Tiffany, does it redeem itself or something?
Yes, it does.
Okay.
Yes.
Bad things turned good.
Okay.
But can I just say this?
If your kids are watching three quarters of a movie and it's negative,
is it worth waiting for the last quarter?
My son is five, and he didn't catch any bad things from it.
Go ahead, Amy.
Yeah, well, I just feel like...
Don't whisper it to me.
I mean, you're whispering at the end of the mic to me.
I don't know what you're saying.
No, because I'm thinking sometimes when they can't really piece it all together,
but my daughter's 10 and my son's seven, and they will, they act out what they see on movies.
I barely, I struggle with Flash sometimes because of some of the things,
but he's a superhero and I let it go.
But some of this baby stuff, the baby was doing, I could see them acting it out and doing it in public
and even like treating me that way, and I just don't want that.
Well, maybe they shouldn't.
I changed that.
I see.
Yeah, my son would just like, that baby's mean.
Tiffany, I appreciate the call.
Appreciate you listening in Tampa.
Appreciate you.
Yes.
I can't wait to see you in Tampa.
Are you coming to the show?
I sure am.
Oh, that's awesome.
Appreciate you.
Have a good morning.
All right, bye, Tiffany.
Yeah, my stand-up act, I'm going to Tampa.
If you're in Pittsburgh, I'm coming to see you.
Also, Florence, South Carolina.
Bonescom.com.
I think I want to see this boss baby now.
This is like these bands in the 90s
when you were told, oh, I don't listen to them.
They're like, maybe I should pop in the old CD
and see what the hubbub's about.
It's just this cute little baby that's definitely mean.
It's deceiving.
Here's something weird.
Morgan number two, who will bring the web to you.
You know, she's our web girl over there.
I like that.
She has this weird thing about her neck.
Does anyone know this?
No.
She has this fear, and she doesn't like,
you don't touch her neck.
Because she thinks he's going to, someone's going to stab her, or she's going to die for her neck.
Yeah, I have this super, like, irrational fear.
Like, I think I'm going to die from choking or, like, if anybody even comes near my neck, I, like, want to punch him in throat.
Like, I just don't even want you near my throat.
So your boyfriend doesn't, he's not allowed by your neck.
No, if I really start to trust you, I can, like, ease into it.
But it takes a lot for me to get there.
Like, if I get needles or, like, if I'm ever at a doctor, I'm, like, sitting there holding my neck because I'm afraid something's going to happen.
What happened in your life to make you think your neck was vulnerable?
Nothing.
Like, nothing has ever happened to me that I would have a problem with my neck.
What about during birth?
Do you know if anything crazy happened to your neck during birth,
like your umbilical cord was wrapped around your neck ring?
What's happening?
No.
This could be something, you guys.
Go ahead.
Well, that's my thing.
You need to talk to your mom and whoever delivered you about your birth
and maybe see if something traumatic happened around your neck.
Let me ask you this, not to be too personal, but have you ever been attacked by a giraffe?
What? I'm just saying. Let's just get down to it.
Okay. Make fun of my thing, but you can experience trauma during birth and it will come back in your adult life and affect you in different ways.
I had to wear a neck brace. I had a football injury in 11th grade.
So I'd wear a neck brace for like three weeks and they call me Myrtle the Turtle. It's terrible.
They didn't move?
Yeah, because I had a neck brace. They were like, oh, it's a Myrtle Turtle, everybody.
It was terrible.
nickname. Oh my goodness. I didn't know. So if I walked up behind you and just was like, hey, I
put my hand on your like shoulder neck. You wouldn't like that? No, like I'd probably like
hit you in your gut. It's like a knee-jerk reaction to anything. Like if something comes
in my neck, I'm like, uh, attack you. Anybody else have any other rational fears? Like,
and we don't have to say it right now, but just period. Irrational fears that you always
are concerned. Oh, that's it for me. Think about that. Talking about irrational fears
because Morgan number two, our webgirl,
I can't have anybody touch my neck.
Lunchbox has one.
I think a snake is going to jump up through my car engine and bite me.
He's always thought that.
It just scares me.
I always have that thought that some way it's going to just go through the engine
and get me while I'm driving.
I have an irrational fear that I'm going to be late somewhere.
That is true.
Oh, come on.
What?
Yeah.
I mean, it's never happened, but...
At least you're admitting, you're irrational.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, Shantara, is that your name?
Yes.
Thank you for calling. What's going on? Tell me your rational fear.
I have a super rational fear of crickets.
Why?
Well, I have an awesome older brother who used to torture me with crickets.
He would lock me in closets and throw little crickets in there one by one.
What in the world?
He's an awesome brother, but yes, he was one of those older mean brothers.
Holy, I'd be scared of crickets, too.
Shantara, thank you for the call and that therapy session.
I appreciate you.
Hey, you go talk to somebody about that.
Mm-hmm.
Probably a cricket nightmare.
Samantha and Williamsburg.
Good morning.
Good morning.
What do you think?
You have irrational fear?
I do.
So I have a couple, but the one that can relate with the neck is I'm scared that someone's going to cut off my neck when I'm sleeping.
So I have to sleep with the covers up to my head.
Even if I'm, like, really hot.
It's so stupid.
That's good because there's no way an axe will go through a comforter.
No.
No, there's the eye.
I'm with you.
But die, thank you for that.
Appreciate you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for calling the show.
That's really cool you called.
I mean, it's crazy.
Why you called?
That's really cool that you called.
Hey, Renee and Albany.
For rational fear is people touching my wrist.
And I don't know why or where it came from, but I have this crazy phobia.
I actually passed out in high school doing a biology lab with taking my pulse.
And it was because I was touching my wrist.
Wow.
I wonder what it is way back in the day that made you worry about your wrists.
I don't know.
I think it might have been when I was a kid.
I had motion sickness traveling, so I used to wear those like sea bands,
and they had like a little ball on your wrist.
And they always made me uncomfortable.
So I don't know if that's where it came from, but I hate it so much.
Well, Renee, thank you for sharing your story with us.
I appreciate that.
Appreciate you.
Appreciate you.
Thank you, thank you.
Well, I don't really have anything super irrational.
I'm scared of needles, but I think that's pretty common.
I've passed out a few times from needles, and it's never the needle itself.
It's always right before I get it, and I'm so tight.
Or it's always when Amy chases me with one after work.
Those are the two things.
I got it, I got you, boy.
Bobby, come here.
A sleepwalking man fell six stories out his girlfriend's apartment window.
Wow.
Yeah, and then survived.
The 35-year-old has a history of sleepwalking,
and he had taken some of his girlfriend's sleeping pills that night.
He climbed out of her eighth floor window,
fell onto scaffolding six stories below.
Whoa.
He was just in his boxers.
Then he got up and was helped through a glass window to safety by firefighters.
Hospital, broken leg, rib, couple back and torso injuries,
but it's alive and it's going to be fine.
Boom.
Man, I guess you sort of, if you're a sleepwalker like that,
you have to...
Change yourself down.
Or like sort of kid proof, how you kid proof your home.
You have to sleepwalk proof wherever you're saying.
So you can't get out.
The real drama here because I also had a problem with sleeping pills is that, the sleeping pills.
You're in another world with them.
I went a year on sleeping pills.
I don't remember things.
I remember driving home from work and not remembering it.
And then I told you put my gas, the pump in the car and drove off.
And I got home and was like, how did I even get home?
That's scary.
Yep.
And that's why I stopped.
Take care of them.
but if he has a problem
in doing that
and then he took sleeping pills
if you've never taken a sleeping pill
don't
but it puts your mind
in a whole different place
and then you
because Amy's told us about
you'll mention it again or no
what?
The sleeping pill Olympics
oh, Ambien Olympics
yeah in the military
I mean my husband didn't play
oh he didn't play
no he didn't
I don't think he was like a real athlete
I don't know
it doesn't seem like him
to dabble in that
because he would never want to jeopardize anything he had going on.
But yeah, they give you Ambien, especially in the Midwest.
So if you're flying overseas or you have a long trip because you need to arrive rested.
So some guys have the Ambien and maybe they don't use it.
Maybe they don't.
They save it up.
And then they take Ambien and they try to stay awake as long as they can and, like, do things to try to function.
And it's ambient Olympics.
Oh, wow.
So you have a lot of downtime.
Yeah.
So when you have three days of downtime.
I mean, anybody could play.
It's not just military.
Yeah, let's not a time everybody to play, though.
Not a good idea.
My two favorite games that I've heard about are Ambien Olympics and Tidepot Challenge.
Right.
No, no, no, no.
I'm not encouraging.
I'm into the Winter Olympics soon.
Great games.
I'm not encouraging people to play.
I'm just saying other people.
We're checking into South Korea now to Poyong for the Ambian Olympics.
The American Charles Winston is in first place.
What?
Where am I?
It's not safe kids.
Does anybody have any cheese?
Hey.
I know.
Now let's go check in with a tide pie.
High Olympics.
Where all the Americans are dominating the
Thai pot Olympics.
Oh, Sally Winston
of North Carolina is just taking the gold.
Oh, and there she goes.
Oh, man.
Kids, don't do this stuff.
Man, we are stupid. Americans are stupid.
Yeah, we are.
We're stupid. Be smart.
That's right. Thank you.
I needed somebody to say that.
I know we're an hour away from the segment,
but I do want to put it out there on the menu
so you know what's coming.
Lunchbox goes to the store.
And you're asking where the tide pods are.
Yes, I ask him where the edible tidepods are.
Okay.
So he takes a hidden mic and says, hey, what can I get those tidepods people you've been eating?
So that's going to happen in an hour.
I've been waiting for this.
Yeah, me too.
You want to hear a bit of it?
Yeah.
Excuse me, sir.
Can you tell me where the edible tithet pods are?
That's how I'm going to give you for right now.
Yeah, the edible.
By the way, don't eat them.
No, no, no.
It's obviously a joke.
Full disclaimer.
Yeah.
What's a full disclaimer?
Is that same thing as full disclosure?
Is it not a disclaimer to say?
Disclammer's already full.
You mean full disclosure.
But we should say disclaimer, don't eat them?
Yeah.
So no full.
Here's the never going to get it right now.
About half of women said the first thing they do after a breakup is this.
About half of women said the first thing they do after a breakup is this.
Allison in Ohio.
Hello, I think I delete photos.
Probably wrong.
Oh, so like purge the pictures.
Hmm, good one.
Yeah.
No, that's not yet.
I appreciate that, though.
Appreciate you.
Appreciate you.
All right, have a good morning.
Dang, I'm hoping to get a winner there.
Hey, Tanya and Alabama.
Hey, how are you?
I'm good.
What's up with you?
Oh, just driving to work.
What do you think about this?
About half women say they get a breakup, they do this.
I said go on a shopping spree.
Got to get a new look, real fresh.
Fresh, freshen it up.
That's not it.
I appreciate you
You too
Thank you, thank you.
Have a great day
You too
Thanks for calling
Amy
Eat
Eat
Eat she said show me eat
No
You tricked me
Lunchbox
You're feeling sad
You turn on the music
Listen to some jams
Oh there we go
Oh
Let's take one more shot
Here producer Eddie
I know women
You know women
And they call their moms
And tell them
Mom I broke up with my boyfriend
Mom mom
Mom show me mom
Oh my goodness
This sounds hard
Let's go over to
Morgan number number
She brings the web to you.
Morgan number two, what do you have?
Cut their hair.
Ladies and gentlemen, she doesn't have a winning song, but she needs one.
Someone who I guess has had a lot of breakups, because she's new.
They cut her hair?
They get new hairstyle.
That makes sense.
Yeah, just start fresh.
They reinvent themselves.
Wow.
I've done that.
So she has irrational neck fears, and she nails the breakup questions.
So many layers of this onion we got to peel on 24-year-old Morgan number two.
Dang.
So little time on earth.
so many stories.
What's happening in your life, Morgan, number two?
Like, really, what's happening right now?
Like, what are the highlights?
Honestly, not much.
I'm working on my sheep magazine, which is my freelance little gig.
By the way, she edits a sheep.
Oh, she's, ma'am.
I thought she was saying sheet.
Even, that's weird, that's weird too.
Oh, no, I think my like sheet you put on her bed.
But no.
Amy, while you were gone, she told us she edits a sheep magazine.
For, like, sheep.
Future Farmers of America?
Yeah, American Hampshire Sheep Association.
So you have that in your life? What else?
Hanging out with my dog.
Yeah, and how old are your dog?
I'm taking on lots of hikes.
Two and a half years old.
And you and your boyfriend still together?
Yeah, we're still together.
Is it going good or not good?
Yeah, I mean, we're getting to the point where we're learning a lot about each other.
That means not good.
That means the stock market took a slight downturn, but still can bounce back.
You know, basically it's Twitter on stocks.
You know, you're like, ooh.
Yeah.
What have you learned recently?
What's you learned about you?
I'll put it on you.
I think that there's just a lot to me, and I'm a female and I'm really emotional sometimes.
And he can't handle that?
He can.
It's just, I have a really, like, kind of aggressive personality, and I wear my heart on my sleeve.
And that's a lot for some people.
So, um, hard on your sleeve and aggressive.
I feel like those are two different.
Those are, I mean, you can be both of them, but that's an interesting combo.
Ignore the fact that she loves sheep and hates necks.
I mean, if I...
That's important.
Yeah, in a relationship?
Yes.
So, did you flip out about something recently and it didn't go well?
Yeah, I think it's just kind of like testing the waters to find out.
You know, like, as we learn more about each other in the communication and how we communicate.
A lot of vague things happen on our boys.
Amy, you missed this.
She thinks her boyfriend could be cheating on her because he cheats at Puttut.
And if he cheats, or board games, if he teaches a board,
if he teaches a board games, he probably cheats in life.
Yeah.
That was what I assumed.
I just, I don't know.
I'm so weary in, like, relationships scare me is the biggest thing.
How long has it been, like a year?
No.
Like seven months.
Okay.
Yeah.
That's a big stretch from board games.
I wonder if he's listening and he's like thinking, okay.
Does he listen?
Because, I mean, the tone I'm getting your voice is like,
ooh, things are just like not that great right now.
And not only the tone, her exact words are, things are not that great right now.
That's true, that's true.
Does he listen, Morgan number two?
Sometimes, yeah.
But not this early?
I don't think so.
Let me just say that all guys need to learn how to handle emotion from women.
Okay.
If you can handle emotion, bye.
We'll write that down.
We're emotional.
This is true.
Hey, Siri, save us, learn emotion.
Okay, I'm good.
You have a weird spot on your leg?
Yeah.
I've had this little spot down, like,
On my shin area, and it's been red.
I don't want to see it.
Oh, okay.
So I thought you wanted to see it.
It's been read for a couple years now.
I think I probably got it maybe five years ago.
Been monitoring it, it's fine.
Well, now it started to scab over, which I think is a really bad sign.
So I booked an appointment with dermatologist and I go today to get it checked out.
What I always do to make my cell phone better is get on WebMD.
Yeah.
Oh, I'm dying.
Yeah, for sure they're going to cut your leg off if you get on that website.
Either I have a choice of amputation or, or, or, you know,
it's just spread too fast and I only have a few months left because it's clearly some sort of crazy
skin cancer that's taking over my body. Yeah. That webmd, man. A place to make you feel good. That's what
the head should be. WebMD. Want to feel great? You know, get away from the site immediately.
Well, good luck. When are you going? Today. Yeah, right after the show, I have an appointment.
Do you get scared and visualize every awful thing that can happen at the doctor before you go in
every way you're going to in everything you need to say by to everybody before you go in? Or is that just me?
say what?
No, I don't feel, I mean, like when I leave today, I'm not going to say bye to you guys.
I feel like ultimately I'll be fine, but if I do start Googling it, ooh, and if they have to do some sort of like scrape it or biopsy it or take it or something, we'll see what happens.
Yeah, it's scary.
Lunchbox has asked for $100 for a bit.
Oh, why?
What is you want to do?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I just don't, I'm not giving him cash.
Eddie said he was at the grocery store and he heard over the speaker that someone had dropped $100 bill if you would please return it.
So everyone in here says, oh, they would return it.
So I want to try this method out.
I want Bobby to give me $100.
I'm going to go to the grocery store, throw it on the ground, and go up to the front and say, I dropped it and see if someone returns it.
I don't trust that he'd do this bit.
Honestly, he'd go, they didn't return it.
And all of a sudden, he's got an extra hundred bucks.
Which, by the way, you still owe me $30 for the bet.
I don't owe you anything.
Yeah, you do from Amy's kids bet.
You didn't ever put the money in to begin with.
He still owe me $30.
Raymond, does he?
Yes.
Yeah, so.
But yeah, I need $100.
No, no, he deflected.
To do the bits.
See, I'm trying to do bits for the show, and I can't be paying for all these bits because they cost a lot of money.
Well, I don't want to do the bits.
Okay.
Well, I want to test people's honesty.
It's a case study.
Okay.
Eddie brought a story, so I was trying to take it out into the field and test America's...
You know what?
What?
My daughter got a cash register, and real money came with it.
It looks real.
Oh, okay, first of all, it's not real money because I saw it.
Okay, it's play money, but it looks so real.
It does look very real.
I may accidentally grab it one day and go to the store and end up getting arrested because I accidentally put her fake money in my wallet that looks so real.
So you're saying get the fake one hundred.
See, I'm not doing fake money.
It does look.
It does look real though.
I was on FaceTime with Amy and her kids.
She's like, look at this money and her son comes up and he's got this bag full of it's fake cash.
And he starts, you know, throwing it because who doesn't?
Oh, of course.
Yeah, you make it rain.
Yeah, yeah.
He's seven and he's making it rain.
But it looks too close to being real.
Wow, you can get in trouble for that.
There should be some guy.
Exactly.
I'm telling you it's going to happen to me one day.
I'm just going to accidentally think that that's real money and go to the store and then I'm going to get arrested.
What time did the kids finally go to sleep last night?
Oh, man.
I think I left my daughter's room at 1030, 11-ish, but then my son, this is the first night I made it down to my room, snuck out.
But then my son came into my room at 2.45.
Mom, mom, with a big all smile on his face.
I'm like, no.
And he's like, I peed the bed.
I'm like, oh my gosh.
I just give up on sleep.
It's fine.
Yeah, yeah.
I've been there for different reasons.
Yeah, yeah.
Mail it in.
Who cares?
Did you see where you can ask Alexa to play a country song?
Have anyone seen this?
No, that should do.
So if you do and you say, hey, play a country song.
Be on mute
Like a good cloud reboot
It's raining and when you're around
I mean it's better to half stuff we play on the radio
I'll be honest with you
Who is that?
She did
She's a solo writer on that song
Man those pop songs
When they would win at the Grammys
Yeah, how many writers?
Coming up, the writers for Bruno Mars
Hey, it's 72 people
Everyone that lives in the state of California
It's a crazy. Yeah, it's pretty crazy those pop songs.
How do they even make money as a right?
How do they all agree on one thing?
Well, they don't.
The difference is just because I have a lot of friends that are songwriters
and I do a podcast about songwriters
is that in country music world you split it by
if there are three people, everybody gets 33%.
In the pop music world, somebody can get 5%.
If they do a little bit, you just get 5%.
You get 70%.
So you can cut it up that way.
Gotcha.
But that Camilla Cabo song,
Havana.
I believe has nine or 11 writers on it.
Oh.
Because everybody wrote a different, nah.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
I'll take the third now.
Yeah, yeah.
It's more like nah.
Yeah, no, no, yeah, nah.
Nah.
But that's the, that's it.
That's my nah.
And that's your 5% of me.
No, no, no, that was my, that was my nine, nah, nah.
I'm not that.
Bobby Bones, everybody.
Transmitting across America.
Over to Amy now, the morning corny.
The morning corny.
What did the Greek use to cut their pizzas?
What did the Greek use to cut their pizzas?
Little Caesars.
Seasers.
Get it? Cisers, scissors, scissors.
It's even funny.
It's loud.
That was the morning corny.
Yes, it was.
Aldein, they don't know.
Coming up in a second.
Lunchbox reviews an eight-year-old movie.
First, I want to say this, though,
because I want you to do,
come on!
That's what I would do if I was doing that concert.
I'd yell every time that hit it in.
Yeah.
I'd be like, yeah!
Lunchbox saw a movie.
I thought it's pretty good.
I was like, dude, that's eight years old.
What's the movie?
It's called Pitch Perfect.
It's heard of it.
With Anna Kendrick,
and I had never seen it
My wife wanted to see Pitch Perfect 3, but I said, I've never seen the first one.
So we sat down and watched Pitch Perfect.
I thought I was going to hate it, bored out of my mind.
Actually, an entertaining movie has some funny parts where you're actually laughing out loud.
The two commentators that called the singing competitions, it's all about this.
It's a college girl going to college.
He joins an a cappella group and they battle for a championship.
That's the premise of the movie.
Actually entertaining a lot better than I thought.
and I found myself enjoying the movie.
It's not going to win any Oscars or anything like that.
It was eight years ago.
Yeah, it has no chance anymore.
Yeah, it's kind of out of contention.
It is really good.
Do you like it, Amy?
Yeah, my husband liked it too.
Eight years ago.
Eight years ago, yeah.
So, yes, if you're looking for an old movie maybe that you have not seen and are interested in,
give pitch perfect to try.
You'll enjoy it.
And that's an eight-year-old movie review from Lunchbox, too.
I love it.
I was watching the reviews for the Grammys,
and I was watching ratings, terrible ratings,
and they're like, it's the death of the award show.
No, the show was just bad.
I said that when it came in the next morning.
First of all, you have to cut out all these people
singing Broadway songs because most of us in America,
we don't give a rat's butt about Broadway songs,
especially on TV.
So save that more for the Tonys or something?
No, put that in the toilet.
I'm not trying to watch it on TV in primetime.
Okay.
And we're normal people.
We don't, we're not that cultured to where we go watch Broadway.
I've seen a couple shows,
and most of them I'm like, well, that was really cool,
but I don't itch to go watch another one.
There's that, first of all.
Second of all, cut the political stuff off.
When it's a music show, don't talk about people fighting.
Yeah, but they feel like that's their one chance
to be in part of an audience that they need to sit.
I'm talking about as a producer of the show.
You want ratings?
Stop it.
Yeah.
I don't want to see it.
I don't see either side fighting about it.
I'm there to watch a music show.
I agree.
If I put it on cable news,
I know I'm going to get two people and split screens yelling at each other.
I've bought that.
I've paid for that album watching it.
I don't watch that at the Grammys.
I want to see people fighting about the president
and I don't want that.
Cut that.
Thirdly, let's cut all the brand new acts.
Most people don't know who those people are.
You've got 94 acts that are cool this week.
We don't care.
We want to see the big acts.
And then we want to see them do big hits.
I know you have Sting and Shaggy up there.
First of all, they're both 100.
By the way, I like them both.
But if Shaggy's going to be up there, he needs to do Angel.
And then a snippet of whatever that new monstrosity was he was singing.
And if Sting's going to be up there and you want to put Sting up, sing a song, then do
Roxanne and then do whatever new song.
Do more combined performances.
Just sample the new stuff maybe.
Yeah, just put it out there.
And then get you two off my TV.
I like them, but they're 100.
Like Bono's got some sort of fake perm thing happening.
Yeah, his hair is almost white.
I don't know how I'm not producing these shows.
You know who's good to producing these shows is Robert Deaton, the guy who produces the CMAs.
Yes, we had him on.
Yeah, and he's been on the show.
Yes.
I don't know. I just look at it and go, of course the ratings are bad. It's a terrible show.
Yeah. Yeah, you should produce the Grammys.
I don't want to. I just feel like it's a lot of work, dude.
You feel like everybody's taking a little too much?
Yeah.
I don't know who produced the Grammys, but I was watching it.
They're probably listening, so you tell them.
And let's stop with the 11-minute performances, even though it's amazing art.
I thought that Kendrick Lamar performance was pretty good and visually, stunning, but we didn't need five parts of it.
We didn't need the Lord of the Rings trilogy
Because that's what we kept
It was a book after book after okay
Let's go
Can we do party in the USA
Hannah Montana?
Oh nice
Well I'm sure that they
See that would have been really good
I'm sure the producers thought they did a good job
They did do a good job at doing what they wanted
But that's not what people want
Okay
What did you think about the comedy award
Like that's new right
To have to present the comedy award on TV
I think it was presented on TV
Because all the big stars were in it
Like Jerry Seinfeld and Chappelle
I thought the bit was funny with the puppies
That was funny.
Or it was like you get a consolation puppy?
Yes, that was funny.
I know we're two days back, but I just saw the ratings were bad.
And I go, duh.
Yeah.
That's, it was not a show meant for Middle America.
And that's who really gives the ratings.
New York and L.A., that's fine, and they have a large population.
But you want to hit ratings, you got to get New York and L.A.,
but you have to get the rest of America.
Yeah.
You should consult.
No one wants to pay me for that.
I do it for free.
I just did.
Yeah, that was it.
There it is.
people forgetting about us here
normal folks
truth
can't us normal folks
get a little bite to something
come on
trying to represent normal folks everywhere
hmm
yeah
that's right
the Bobby Bono show
Lunchbox
tapes the little microphone
to a shirt
and secretly goes into a store
I was like hey
let me get some of those
edible tidepods
obviously just messing with them
So here it is
Lunchbox
in the Tidepod
sort of. Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where the edible tides are?
Yeah, we don't have any of the edible ones. You don't have any of the edible?
Was it on Facebook? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard on the news they were actually pulling it
because people were getting hurt and eating real pods and all that. Oh, so you eat real pods? Well,
where are the real pods? I want to go YouTube famous.
Nine? Oh, cool. All right. Thank you. Oh, so he told you. Yeah, so it tells me, and then I go
get them and I come back to the register. And you check out. Okay, here we go.
checking out here. Your total is
6.54. Those are not
edible. Yeah, yeah, but people
are doing it like on videos. I'm just letting
you know they're not edible. Yeah, they
actually, Facebook is pulling
them because people were getting sick.
All right. Hey, thank you, man.
I'm going you too famous after I eat one of these.
Don't.
Hey, hey, oh? Here you. Store number
2. Excuse me,
do you guys have any of those edible tidepods
for the Tidepod challenge?
Not edible.
You know what I'm talking about how they're eating them on YouTube?
They're like eating the Tidepods.
Yeah, but it's edible.
Oh, but do you have them?
Yeah, we have.
Oh, where are they at?
It looks like 13.
13.
Awesome, okay, cool.
Does it get some, checks out.
These are the ones, right?
Just be careful with them.
That's all I say.
Just be careful.
People are going big on YouTube with them,
so I was like, man, I'm going to try that.
You're not going to eat the whole thing.
You're just going to spit it out or...
I guess you, like, put it in and it makes bubbles,
or you swallow it it.
makes bubbles.
Okay.
Just be careful, okay?
Yeah, yeah.
I've heard people going to the hospital.
Really?
Yeah.
Okay.
But if I make it, you got to like my YouTube video.
All right.
All right.
Thank you, man.
People are genuinely caring.
They don't care that he's an idiot.
They're just like, don't do it.
Yeah, they're not going to not sell it to him.
That's true, too.
But again, you can't hold it back.
That's what I'm saying.
It's not like he's buying anything illegal,
but they're definitely warning him.
Do you have the tide pods?
You know the ones for the tidepods?
pod challenge? Yeah, we got those. Yeah, you know where the people are eating them on YouTube.
Right down there on the right. Down here on the right. Okay, I see it. This guy wants you to do it.
He's like, can you do it live right here? Can I be in the video? You lock them up now?
Yep. Keep them from stealing them. Like, is it okay to drink it with a Coke or like a water?
That's why we had all that water back. Because you know how a lot of YouTube people get famous.
Yeah. And I'm very clean insides too because the tie pot will clean.
me out. There you go. Thank you so much. Good luck to me, right? Yeah. I'll look for you in the obituary.
Save it and got you. Oh my gosh. Target's doing same-day deliveries. Do you hear that? That's amazing.
So they're launching their own speedy shipping with the launch of the same-day service. Wow.
And it's called the shipped app, S-H-I-P-T. A little close for me. Yeah, thank you for clarifying that.
Sh-I-P-T.
It just looks funny on paper.
Who thought that was a good idea, by the way?
Probably a lot of people.
I feel like if you need something from Target, you'll actually save money by using this
because Target gets you when you go in the store, you end up buying way more.
But if you just order what you need, that's at least I'm hopeful for that.
The same day delivery service starts in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North, and South Carolina, also Tennessee.
But they're going to expand in the next few months.
Wow.
Some of them starting as early as February 1st.
First. Will you use this?
I think so. I mean, Amazon's so easy, but that is same day.
Yeah.
And it is Target, and sometimes they have very specific things, so we'll see.
So Amy's kids wanted a bike.
They were so excited about their bikes.
And you started, I saw the chart at your house, a star chart where they had to do their chores and mind their manners and they got a star each day.
And go to bed, all the things.
They each had a sticker board, and they had to get all their stickers the week leading up to go get the bikes.
So it took them a week.
They had to act proper, fill all their spots out.
And if they did, they were going to get a bike.
Yes.
So the week starts, and I guess your daughter nailed it.
Yeah, amazing.
So great.
She got it.
She understood the concept.
She was all in.
She wanted the bike.
Great.
Got the bike.
Yeah.
Your son, seven years old.
Didn't get a bike.
And now I'm starting to wonder, like, did he really understand?
But we had to talk with him.
And she even talked with him in Creel.
And he listens to her.
And she explained, like, this is so excited.
you're going to get a bike and I even warned him when he was acting up at bedtime and he would not go to bed one night
I said I'm serious you're not going to get a bike if you do this and he threw a fit and I said you can have an
opportunity to make up but you're not getting your bedtime sticker I'm sorry you have to go to bed
no sticker which means you may not get your bike and then I really wanted to find a way for him to make up for it
because he didn't get that sticker and then my husband was like no he doesn't get the bike you told him
he's not going to get the bike in that you were serious.
And they know I was serious because they've been quoting me.
Like they come up to me and they're like, mom, you said, I'm serious.
No bike.
And he gets it.
He's like, you told me no bicycle.
So we went and got the bikes and he was there.
So he was there when you bought her the bike and not him the bike?
I know.
It hurts so bad.
But we wanted to show it them that you don't just get.
Because obviously they had, we have never had kids and they were living in an orphanage.
And there's things here they just needed and toys and games.
gifts and all the things. And we were trying to monitor that so it wasn't too overwhelming.
But they have no concept of money. And their kids, it's hard to grasp that. But since they've
gotten home, everything's just there. And they think it just magically appears. And we're like,
we've got to stop this. They need to learn that they have to earn things and you don't just get it.
So what does your seven-year-old have to do now to get a bike?
Got to complete the sticker board for a week. Start over. Start over. Yep. And how's he doing
so far? Not that great. Oh, no. Not that
Great. I heard he had a meltdown on the way to school.
Well, I heard, I know now, and I had to talk with him last night.
But on the way of the school yesterday, he unbuckled on the highway.
As was going.
A meltdown. Complete meltdown.
And, of course, the situation got resolved.
But he knows better than to act that way.
So we're working through it, staying calm and patient.
How mad would you be if I showed up with a bike for him today?
Hey, I have got you a guy.
You need a hero.
I'm not going to do it.
I'll play a song from the very big.
beginning of the song. You have to sing the first line. Oh, yeah. Okay. So the musical stop right as
the song starts, but you have to pick up from where it stops. And I'm just going in order of the
sheet. We'll give all three you guys, Amy, lunchbox, and our producer Eddie, a couple shots.
Are you ready, Amy?
Ready.
Sam Hunt, take your time. Okay?
I used to drive out your house and how many words?
I don't know if you were looking at me or not.
It's the right idea.
Close, guys, guys, guys.
So, no.
Lunchbox.
Yeah, I'm ready.
Pondoon from Little Big Town.
We're going out on the water.
Back this hitch up into the water.
It was not close at all.
I got water.
Did you know, because a couple of my friends wrote that song,
the first lyric is back this hitch up into the water,
but that wasn't how they wrote it originally.
Hitch wasn't the word.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think it's in the Bobbycast, isn't it?
It is the Bobbycast, yeah.
What is?
Oh, don't figure it out.
Eddie.
Yeah, come on.
Here you go.
Come on.
Derek's Bentley drunk on a plane.
I had two tickets on the way to Cancun.
I took two weeks vacation for the honeymoon.
I thought it was like.
Nobody got one right.
Let's go back around one other time.
One.
Amy.
Yeah.
Albury wine, Dana Carter.
I love this song.
We were thirsty for knowledge
Oh yeah
He was working through college
Dang it!
Is that the next verse?
And he...
My grandpa's farm.
I thought he had a car.
Listen, here's an...
Oh, well, the next line was.
I was thirsting for knowledge.
Yeah.
And he had a car.
That's right.
Yeah.
Lunchbox, you don't know anything.
I know that song.
Bring it on.
I know that song.
You did not know that.
He didn't know that song.
You're right.
Here, Lunchbox, you ready?
I'm ready.
Okay.
Low Cash.
I love.
this life, okay?
Oh, man.
I'm going outside tonight.
I love my boots broken.
Are we just...
Guys.
No, I won the game last time.
For sake of the game.
Yeah.
Do we keep him in?
I won the last time.
But he just yells words.
I won the game last time.
He's never close.
Eddie, ready?
Yeah.
Eddie, you can win this?
It's the last one.
But don't because it's fun.
But it's the last one.
No, no.
Somebody has to win it, Amy.
One more time.
Please win.
Come on.
Oh, you had Dina Cross.
Stop.
Yeah, what you're tired about.
With the college.
Bearfoot Blue Gene Knight.
Got it.
I got it.
Eddie stood up.
Taking my shoes off.
He's taking their shoes off.
All right, here you go.
Full moon shining bright.
Full moon shining bright.
That's it.
That's it.
That's the winner.
That was literally the easiest one on the sheet.
Amy, no.
You had Dina Carter's strawberry wine.
Yeah, but I knew.
Well, Amy, Amy, my song was playing.
Hit me with one more.
Come on.
There are no more.
I just said that.
Amy, my song was playing.
I'm sorry, dance.
Aia, aye, aye, aye.
Arriva.
Oh, my goodness.
Bobby Bones, everybody.
Transmitting across America.
This is a Bobby Bones show.
So I was recording a Bobby Cash yesterday.
And Jimmy Allen, who's one of my class of 2018, came over to the house and we were talking.
Because when you smile, I see the sun.
Song's so good.
They lived in this car for four and a half months.
Wow.
He's lived in town for 11 years.
But most new artists have been here forever.
They're just new because they finally get a shot after just grinding it out forever.
When was this?
Let me hear the hook.
Four or five years ago.
Wow.
He lived in his car for four months.
Wow.
Yeah.
I had a great time with him.
I don't know him that well.
I saw you post a picture saying like we're basically best friends now.
We just had a good talk.
Yeah.
I think we related on a lot of levels.
But yeah, he came over and I guess I first got to know him.
The day his EP came out, one of my friends said, hey, check it out.
I listened to it.
And I tweeted him.
And then he saw Amy at the Kid Rock Fish Fry.
And I'd never met him.
And he went up to Amy.
I was like, hey, Bobby tweeted about my record.
Yeah.
I had no idea.
He was an artist or anything.
And we just started talking.
And he said, I had a really good day.
and I even had to call my dad about this.
I said, well, what in the world happened?
He's like, Bobby tweeted me.
Bobby retweeted my album, and he said it was just such a highlight, and he couldn't believe it.
And for someone who's been grinding it out that long, yeah, to have that happen, now I'm putting it into perspective, and that makes sense.
Yeah, he didn't have a record deal at the time either, and I just stumbled upon it.
But then we were talking, and he was like, yeah, I lived in my, I think in a Malibu, he lived in the front seat.
He'd work in the gym.
He worked in the gym.
And he would eat from the snack bar and take showers in the gym.
then go to his Malibu and sleep at night for five, six hours in the play.
Yeah.
When you smile, I see the sun sink down on the coast out of California.
And there's no doubt because of you.
I'm not the man.
I was before you.
I'm not saying that I'm perfect.
Oh, because girl, you know I'm not.
But I love you with everything I got.
Girl, I give you my best shot.
I can play the whole song if we want
It's not up here on the old list
But this is Jimmy Allen
The Bobbycast doesn't go up till next week with him
But that was pretty remarkable story
And this is it
Best Shot
Is the name of the song from Jimmy Allen
He's up on my Instagram
You'll see a picture of us at my house
He's standing there
I mean, I don't know, I'm a lot to look at
Except us
I'm pretty good
I'm just flesh and bone
Heart and soul
And I've earned a couple scars
I've lived once in a lifetime
kind of things slide right out of my arms.
I struck out.
I've been knocked down more times than I can count.
But that don't matter now.
Because when you smile, I see the sun sink down on the coast out of California.
And there's no doubt because of you.
I'm not the man I was before you.
I'm not saying that I'm perfect dogs, girl.
You know I'm not, but I love you with everything I got.
Girl, I'll give you my best shots.
You saw a spark inside of me that no one else could find.
Your good morning eyes, they get me high, girl, you're always on my mind.
Because the sun sank down on the coast out of California.
And I say that I'm perfect, oh, because girl, you're always on.
You know I'm not, but I love you with everything I got.
Best shot.
I saw you.
I found amazing grace.
It's like angels singing every time I hear your smiles.
And there's no doubt not saying, my best shot.
One of the class of 2018, Jimmy Allen, that's called Best Shot.
That is a great song.
Imagine that you finally go to the beach.
Yeah, man, let's go.
We're going to head over to the old Caribbean.
and they're walking on the beach
and Dominican Republic
and all of a sudden
they get these worms in their feet
No
They got these parasitic hookworms
cause their feet to swell
No
That sounds so
They got back home
And the dude's feet
It's like man my feet are swollen
And then bumps started to happen
All they wanted to do is go to romantic walk on the beach
So they go to the doctor
And the doctor's like
We don't know what this is
So they got on Facebook
and they posted a picture.
People are like,
you should check that out.
Hookworms from the beach
from them just walking.
So now they're on all this medication
and they're gonna live.
But how crazy is that?
Oh, those feet look so gross.
Did you see a picture?
Oh yeah.
Don't show me.
No, I exed it.
It popped up in the news story
and I got out.
I don't want to see it in.
I just ate.
Yeah?
I just ate.
I don't want to see that.
This is a Bobby Bones show.
Bobby Bong.
I wonder if people think the seven-year-old should have been arrested
because they arrested this kid.
He punched his teacher.
Here, I'll play the clip.
Police say the seven-year-old attacked one of his school teachers
at the Coralway K-8 Center after being told not to play with his food.
His parents were called to the school and met with the principal.
Shortly after, the boy was in police custody.
The student was taken to the hospital for an evaluation and was released.
In a statement, police said,
this action was warranted to prevent his erratic and violent behavior from bringing
further harm to others or himself.
The story says the seven-year-old Miami boy
taken into custody after police say he attacked a teacher
by pulling her hair and repeatedly punching her.
It was his second tantrum in less than three months.
His family said.
So it's not the police saying this.
It's his family.
Handcuffed, loaded in the cruiser, taken in, like the story there.
Oh my gosh.
The parents said, I know my kid did wrong.
He would be punished for what he did.
But what the police officer did is unbelievable.
Talking about the seven-year-old.
Police say the seven-year-old attacked one of his school teachers

after being told not to play with his food.
His parents were called to the school
and met with the principal.
Shortly after, the boy was in police custody.
The student was taken to the hospital

In a statement, police said,
this action was warranted to prevent his erratic
and violent behavior from bringing
further harm to others or himself.
So you have a kid, he's punching a teacher.
It was a second episode where he's done something like this.
The parents said, yeah, he's done it twice.
So they arrest him.
them and took him in. Thomas and Maryland, what do you think about this?
Okay, I've got two parts to my little comment here. First of all, the police officer did the
right thing. There was a crime committed and the action was appropriate. Second of all,
you have to blame the parents for this one. My children, I have five children and not a single
one of them would ever dare touch another human being. One, two, an adult authority figure
or a teacher. I am
perplexed that this
actually happened. I appreciate that.
Appreciate you.
Appreciate your thoughts. Tracy in New York.
Now, you're a retired police officer and a mother.
Yes. What do you think about this situation?
Well, some people don't know that
if you don't arrest somebody
under a mental health act, they won't
get the appropriate services.
In New York State, we have a law
referred to as 941.
In Florida, it's the Baker Act.
California, it's 5150. Now, if they arrested the kid, it was under the mental health law,
not as a criminal. They take him to the hospital. Then all these services are opened up to him
and his parents. If he wasn't, quote, arrested, a lot of these services wouldn't be available to
them. I think that's a great point. Something I didn't know at all. Me neither. That's, her response
right there and her informing us of that is the only reason why I think an arrest makes sense.
The only reason.
Right.
Tracy, thank you for that.
I had no idea.
And people say, oh, seven's too young to arrest them.
But what do you do?
Aside from what she said, which now makes all the sense in the world.
When you say, what do you do?
I would say, well, you need to get this child.
I mean, child some help.
Clearly, they're having trouble processing their feelings and something is wrong.
Yeah, Paula thinks the same thing.
Paula, you're on?
Yes, I totally agree.
I'm sitting here shaking my head as I'm driving through town here going.
Yep, I mean, I have a 25-year-old and a 14-year-old, and I've had to get my son help.
I mean, not that he's violent or anything.
We just knew something was going on because he would have outbursts.
So, yes, I totally agree that the psychiatric help is for this needs to be with this child.
I mean, the clickbait is seven-year-old arrested, and you go, oh, a cop arrested a seven-year-old.
That can't seem right.
But then, as usual, there's a second and third layer, which we were just led into, that
if they didn't officially arrest the kid, there were doors that wouldn't have been opened
on the mental health side of things. Right. Mm-hmm. But we don't see that and we want to go,
no, before that caller would have been like, okay, I think an arrest is a little too extreme.
But if they're in order to fall into that proper protocol to where they get the proper help that
they need, you have to check certain boxes.
Thank you for the calls. Wow.
I was reading this story about Alicia Kara and she won the best new artist. If you're not familiar
with her songs.
You know this Amy Scars too?
You're beautiful.
There's that.
So she wins best new artist
at the Grammys and
fine, pleasant.
I like her.
And so she puts out of Instagram
today because people are mad at her
because she won.
We didn't need to stop reacting back to people
who are upset about things.
I feel bad for her because people are all on her case.
You've been in the game too long
to be considered a new artist.
Not to me.
And she's like, I didn't put my
on the ballot.
Right.
I didn't vote every time for me.
People voted for me.
This whole world is getting so reactionary to everything.
You can't react back to them because all you're doing is creating more reactionary.
So people get mad at me.
You know what I do?
Nah, just shut up, let it go away.
Or I'll pop back a couple times.
Sometimes.
Just love numb.
Watching.
Just keep honest.
These blogs come after me sometimes.
Oh, you're running the format.
No, no, no.
Running it or ruining it?
Ruining it.
Yeah.
me and my people we're the vocal
no no we're the
silent majority
I'm not silent but our people are the silent majority
they consume they enjoy it
they move on with their lives
correct
such a vocal minority
that has a problem with things
we can't address them
you just can't do it
I feel bad for her
she put out this big lengthy Instagram post
I think she's 19
well yeah
I mean that's probably why she's like
well I want to explain my
she didn't do anything
Listen, when I was put into the Radio Hall of Fame, I thought, probably too early for this.
I really did.
I thought, I don't know if I'm deserving of this.
And then people got all mad at me for it, for winning.
I was like, you know what?
Screw it.
Yeah.
Give me the, give me the trophy.
You didn't do anything but win.
You didn't nominate yourself.
You didn't vote for yourself.
None of that.
And people wanted to get mad at me.
I didn't put up a post going, eh, you know, you're probably right.
Yeah.
I just, so I hope people stop reacting to these small, angry mobs.
that feel like they're big mobs, but they're not.
Because then they're getting what they want.
And then more little small mobs are yelling about it.
Right.
So, yeah, I feel bad for her.
I mean, I guess I shouldn't.
She's a millionaire teenager.
But no, I do feel bad.
I don't.
You know the quarterback from the Eagles, Nick Foles,
we were reading these tweets about Nick Foles.
And so he's a quarterback of the Eagles.
He went to high school in Austin.
His parents.
Woo!
They started Z. Tejas.
Zee-Tahas and Eddie V's.
Yeah.
And they sold the Eddie V's franchise for $59 million in 2011.
The year before he was drafted.
So, and did he get a big contract, do you think?
Yeah.
I don't think.
Yeah.
I mean, he's got millions of dollars.
What did that, dude.
That family's good.
They're taken care of.
If they spend it wisely.
Well, maybe they were able to get him all the proper football training.
for creating a restaurant business and having all that money.
They should just get on Twitter, be like, you know,
I'm sorry we make such good food in Nepal.
I'm sorry everybody's angry.
And he should just not get paid as a footballer because he came from a successful family.
I forfeit my salary.
You should donate it.
Yeah.
I'm sure they do, but I don't know what they do.
We're joking, by the way.
I get so irritated.
I'm getting a message from Morgan.
I had to pronounce her name.
Elysia, is that what I said?
Don't remember.
I don't know.
Oh, I thought it was like Alessia.
I don't know.
I'm then post on Instagram.
Apologizing.
Alessica.
What is it?
I've heard of Lesia, too.
But what do I know?
Tomato.
Okay.
We saw her at IHeart.
IHeart Village.
You remember that?
There were a lot of artists, but she came out.
I remember seeing her, and I was like, oh, she's pretty good.
She's young.
She's really good.
That's all I remember.
And he's like, I remember seeing her and being like, she's pretty good.
She's young.
She's probably going to win an award.
The only person I geeked out on last year was
Julian Michaels
Oh yeah
You like her
I think she's a
Such good songwriter
And because she has that song
Because I got issues
And you got to
Yeah
You know that song
Yeah
Yeah
That song's so good
Yeah
And I went and tracked her down
I got a picture
I'm jealous
I'm oversealous
When I'm down
I get real down
When I'm high
I don't come down
I get angry
Baby
Believe me
A song is so different
And it's not supposed to work
Because it's so different
And it does
And that's what's awesome about it
It has a jam
Never be afraid to tell somebody
You're a fan of them
If there's somebody that you think is fantastic
And you see them
Always tell them
The only time I say don't buy them
Is if they're kids or they're eating
But people do this
To provide joy, entertainment for you
they create something that you consume
always say hey I'm a huge fan
there are times where maybe pictures aren't appropriate
and lunchbox yells at people and I don't think that's appropriate
I was about to say you always tell me that I do it in the wrong way
but I always go up to them and I am sure excitement
you don't go up to them you scream at them
you're in hallways with just them and you yell at them
sometimes you touch uncomfortably like
yeah yeah like Gwen Stefani freeze out on them
yeah I got told not to touch her
you bet you should touch her anyway
right
yeah well I was going for a picture
and I went to put my arm around
and they said,
that's just not your thing to get in here,
they said, no touching, so I just did the
two thumbs up.
Totally the same thing.
Get in here, Gwen.
I'm sure her eyes open like, ooh, finally.
You had to wrap my big old paw wrapper and get in here.
That's not good.
Tell me what you think of this one.
A guy opens fire at a group of suspected thieves
after his car was stolen.
It happened around 8.30 p.m.
So his car, gone.
And the police say he spotted his vehicle and sort of following the suspects.
When they got down the street, he started shooting.
He hit one of the teenagers inside the car.
The team was taken to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, expected to survive.
It's possible the kid and his fellow passengers could face theft.
And the man who fired shots could also face charges.
Thoughts, Amy.
I just don't think that's a right way to handle seeing your car.
Like, it's been stolen.
Yes, let's call the police and let them handle it.
it we don't get out our gun and start shooting.
This is not vigilante America.
And he's not being threatened right then.
If someone's threatening me and I have a gun, I'm going to shoot you.
Okay, yeah.
I think they all should face charges.
Yeah.
Even if you want to chase them and you shouldn't,
but even if you want to chase them and call the cops,
that's different than pulling your gun on them and chase them.
Somebody just saw some stuff on TV and wanted to try it out.
That's what it feels like to me.
Lunchbox, do you have a dissenting opinion?
No, I actually agree with you guys.
I thought you guys were going to say he's okay shooting him.
Sorry, they're already gone, just calling it.
Why would we think it's okay to drive around shooting people?
Because you guys don't think with the same mental capability as I don't.
I just assume since I had that opinion, you guys were going to be going the other way.
There you go.
But that guy should be in prison.
Yeah, they all should.
You can just drive down the street firing at people.
Because you can hit other people too.
Yeah.
They need to like kiss and makeup too.
Oh, they should make them.
Put them in the same cell together.
They should do what we're trying to do to Eddie and lunchbox.
What are you trying to do with?
Because they're always fighting.
I'm like, you guys.
just make out and do whatever with.
One day,
when you,
yeah,
you just,
we can't let it escalate.
Because you two have some weird feud going on.
It's like tension.
The first like five years I could deal with lunchbox.
I'm over it.
I'm just over it.
That's it.
You even sound like him just now.
I've lost my patience with him.
In what way,
Eddie?
Maybe it's because you put us together.
We're right next to I can touch him right here.
Yeah.
And like he's just,
he gets under my skin.
I don't know how to say it.
Why?
Because he always has,
he's always never wrong.
He always butts into my business.
He always, he argues about everything.
He can never agree to anything.
I have a question.
So, does this just in your work life or is it bleeding into your personal life?
Because personally, y'all hang out and all are friends.
Are you annoyed with them on the outside?
Well, I think it's this environment.
I feel like, I know what it is.
He wants to show off in front of you guys.
We're not paying attention.
Yeah, we don't pay attention to all.
But he thinks he does.
He likes to go in the glass room where everyone's watching and then he turns into lunch,
like, I'm annoying you, but you're getting mad at me,
but it's okay, it's a thing.
And then like outside with his wife, he's totally nice, normal.
And so I think it's a show-off thing.
You think he's acting like an eight-year-old in front of Amy and I?
Yes.
Yes.
Do you guys watch him at all?
No, but Bobby, you clearly need to pay more attention to him.
I guess so.
I guess the, I guess the-lucky needs to.
Are you ready for the rebuttal?
Go ahead.
If there's anybody that tries to show off for other people, it's Eddie.
When it's just us two in here, he's all nice.
once someone else is in the room,
then he wants to be all,
oh, grandioso, Eddie.
Grandioso.
He's not really that funny.
Is that because I'm Hispanic?
And all of a sudden,
he tries to be Mr.
comedy and jokes
and things like that.
So you think he tries
to buzz out his jokes for Bobby?
Yes, absolutely.
Like,
I'll be sitting in the glass room
enjoying my hot chocolate
in the morning.
Just sitting there,
not saying a word,
and he'll come in
and first day he does,
oh, look at me,
I got hot chocolate,
yeah.
But I didn't say,
anything to you, man. Like, I'm just sitting here.
That's the early show message. That's my job.
No, no, no, you know what I did. These two, because they have issues.
Like, I don't even, what they're saying right now doesn't even make.
No, I don't understand it either. Like, I'm just chilling.
It's the same problem. We have the same problem with each other.
Like one day, I texted him because he was, I thought he was going to be late. It was getting
close to time to be here. And I texted him.
Like a nice friend. Are you awake? Are you awake? And he gets here. And Morgan number two
is a witness. He goes, why would you even
Text me. If I'm late, I'm not going to make it anyway.
No.
Sorry, man.
He texts me two minutes away from the deadline.
I'm like, what am I going to do in two minutes?
No, but you got ready.
Yes, she is.
And then yesterday, remember how you played the clips of me interrupting him doing spots because he did it to me?
Guess what he does yesterday.
Thinks it's hilarious on his Instagram story.
Oh, you're trying to record a spot.
Ha, ha, ha, ha.
Because I got issues.
I'm trying to get you back.
Okay, I'm done with this.
Oh, my gosh.
I had no idea this is a real thing.
I don't understand.
Can I say this?
Yes, please.
Let me just say something.
The one consistent thing throughout the history of this show, and I'm going to blame this on me,
I'm going to blame all of this on me, is that in our environment, I feel like I've made, to this point,
such a positive environment for everybody to be in and thrive in.
Right now, you look at all eight of us that work here on the show, we're all good.
Lunchbox always has to have a feud with somebody at all times.
Yes, always.
No, Eddie, you don't even know.
I'm not even feuding with you.
I know what that starts it.
But Amy, in the history of the show, I'm not even taking Eddie's side.
You're not even discussing this particular in the history of the show.
Lunchbox has always had to have a feud with somebody on the show.
There tends to always be some sort of tension.
That's a fact.
That being said, however, Eddie knows this and needles to crap out of him.
Okay, I'm guilty of that.
Oh, see, there you go!
I'm guilty of trying to get a reaction out of you because it's easy.
So, make out.
So you two just need to stop or you'll both end up in the, what?
It's toxic.
You'll go work on the river.
No, no, no, no.
Yeah, just notice that I'm never trying to show off in front of you guys.
I sit here silently and he always tries to say a little comments.
Listen, you're one step away from working with Woody and Jim, both of you.
You, lunchbox.
Eddie, that's fine.
As long as I'm away from you.
I'll put them up there because they're valuable.
They go to another show.
You know, like when you're in high school, you think when I'm older, everything's going to be so mature.
We're not going to deal with high school stuff.
Yeah, but then you deal with that.
And now that we're adults.
I know.
Okay.
I'm done.
I'm over time.
Just know that there's something brewing between these two.
Even I watch their instant stories and all they're doing after work is messing with each other.
This is just a high school.
Mr.
Busy Eddie always got something to do.
They both act like they're way busy and they really are too.
No, I don't think I'm that busy.
No, he's never busy.
Oh, wait for him tomorrow.
I got another story for you tomorrow.
Coming for Eddie.
Okay.
How busy he is.
Get ready.
Picture evidence.
Okay, I got to go.
Picture.
Great.
Thank you.
Okay.
Okay.
What about those guys from Lanko?
Number one record.
Really good, too.
Yeah, so if you don't have it, it's good.
Two records I've really loved this year has been,
the last few months has been this record and the Anderson East record.
But other than that, it's just I hear a few songs like to save them.
If I will save nine songs of a record
That means it's amazing to me
Because now it's just
So much
And new music's coming at you all the time
Like you're dodging lasers
But I really like the Lanko album
And it was the number one country record
Yeah
So cool for those guys
And known them for a while
Friends with them
This is our new song
And it sucks a jam
You know I'm kind of proud of myself
Why
Last night
And then Saturday night
I went out twice
I say out
I want to play top golf on Saturday night.
I'd never go out and do anything fun like that.
Then I went to dinner with two friends last night.
On a Monday night.
We went early and there was nobody in the restaurant.
Are these people early birds?
Who'd you go with?
Are they early birds?
They're not early birds.
But would they normally go out late or they were doing it for you?
Probably for me.
But we compromised a bit.
So I said, hey, let's eat at 2 p.m.
And then they...
2 p.m.
No, I don't.
Wow.
I usually eat around 4, 4.30.
But we ended up eating at 6.
Oh, wow.
I thought you were going to say 5.
No.
Whoa, 6.
And normal humans eat at 7.
Yeah.
Oh, look at you.
Yeah.
I feel like I'm doing pretty good.
It's just a couple.
A merry couple, a couple friends from town.
And went and had a nice dinner.
And it was mostly a vegetarian place, had little meat.
It's good.
Yeah?
Yeah.
So you're proud of yourself?
I am.
And did?
So in a circle?
circumstance like this where you're with these new, they're not new friends, normal.
But I would say this, that I don't have many people I hang out with in a social circle.
I would put them now in my list of people that I would call and say, hey, because one thing,
I never say to somebody, hey, we should get together. And I don't mean it. I never,
if people do all the time, oh, we should get together. But they don't mean it. And they don't
mean it. I won't say that unless I mean it. And so when I saw them out, hey, we should get
together. I said, don't say unless you mean it. And I think I scared them.
because then they were trapped
and they said, no, no, no.
So I texted them the next day.
Hey, let's put it on the calendar.
Do you want to hang out?
Yeah.
And so we did.
It was good.
What was your question?
Well, because it's a new layer to your social circle
are these people where you would suit, like with us.
You try to wrap up the meal pretty quick.
We're like thinking we're asking for the check,
but you've already dropped your credit card off at the waiter
before you've taken the last bite.
So that way we're out of there.
We're done.
I like to eat.
When I swallow that last bite,
I like to already be leaning out of the booth.
Like, out the door.
What's your, you know.
I genuinely had such a good time last night that we took a few minutes and I didn't rush.
It was just fun to have humans around.
You waited for the bill to come.
Honestly, I felt like one, they didn't want anything from me other than friendship.
And I always felt like people are at, there's an angle.
People always want something.
So, yeah, waited for the bill.
I was kind of proud.
I was human.
Wow.
I love it.
I know.
I was human.
I'm kind of in shock right now.
Yeah.
So, Pantoros on my nose.
Yeah.
Mother's, yeah.
Yeah, take that.
So, yeah, but then I was up all night
because it's so later than what I normally do.
Did it mess you up?
Oh, hardcore.
11.30, I was just staring at the ceiling.
I was like, what am I thinking?
I went to a 6 o'clock dinner.
I'm such a party, Anne.
I'm Paris Hilton in 2004.
I thought it felt like.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
The few Americans believe
that they're actually living the American dream.
Few do?
Few.
It says that only 45% of people believe
they're living the American dream.
Okay, so about half.
I don't know what you would define as the American dream.
I think we also get this jaded view of what the American dream is.
Is the American dream to be rich?
Well, that's not the American dream.
The American dream is to have your opportunities to, and rich isn't always what people want to be,
but you have the opportunity to create your own path in a lot of ways.
And I like to think that I'm living the American dream because I had no help.
And I was able to make and work and do, and here I am now doing what I love to do.
I feel like that's the American dream.
If you have the opportunity to work your way into what you love, that's the American dream.
I'm glad you said that, the opportunity, because 60% of workers don't think that all Americans have an equal shot at the American dream.
They don't. I didn't have an equal shot.
I think if you come from money or you have privilege or a great education, you're up higher on the equal.
But you can work yourself into having a shot that they have.
We all come from different places on the ladder.
And if you're on the bottom of the ladder, you've got to work harder to get to the top of the ladder to even work to jump off.
Man.
So that's true.
We don't all have an equal shot.
But with that mentality, if I don't have the equal shot, you're never going to go anywhere.
Right.
I had no shot.
But I did.
I had little shots that led to medium shots and led to big shots.
Do you feel like you believed all along, I have the opportunity?
No doubt.
I believe that I don't have the opportunity now, but I will create an opportunity to make an opportunity.
So it's...
You hear that, kids?
Well, that's just how I fell and that's how I got out of it.
I knew coming from Mount Pine, Arkansas, as a kid that grew up on food stamps with no real parental guidance that I don't have right now the opportunity.
to go off and get a great education and have a job waiting for me.
But I knew if I worked hard, I would then have an opportunity to make an opportunity.
So I do believe in the American dream.
I think I am living the American dream.
And I'm proud of it.
So yeah, I am.
So what else you got?
So forget getting in shape for the wedding.
Now women are getting in shape for the engagement.
Well, first of all, let's just all get in shape if we'd like.
That sounds good.
How about getting in shape for Monday?
Yeah, for a random day.
So there's two reasons why this is happening.
A lot of relationships now, the engagement isn't so much a surprise.
Everyone's talking about it.
The girls kind of know when it's coming, so they want to be ready for it and looking good.
And then now with social media and all the pictures going up of your engagement right away,
they want to make sure they look good.
So it's not just whipping it into shape for the wedding.
It's for the proposal.
They want to look good.
Good for them.
I enjoy anyone wanting to look good.
You look good, you feel good.
You feel good.
You play good.
They play good.
You pay good.
Yeah. Something like that.
The American dream right there.
Well, hold on, let me say that right.
You look good, you feel good.
You feel good, you play good.
You play good, they pay good.
That's right.
Oh, I get that.
That's it.
Dionne Sanders.
Go ahead.
Do most people know who Mr. Rogers is?
Because I'm kind of excited about this movie.
Okay, good.
So Tom Hanks is going to be in a movie about Mr. Rogers called You Are My Friend,
and he'll obviously be playing Mr. Rogers.
Wow.
There's not, I tweeted this last night.
not a more perfect actor than Tom Hanks at this age to play Mr. Rogers.
Love it.
It's perfect.
And then who's going to play Tom Hanks in his biopic?
Ooh.
That's a good one.
Dan Smyers from Dan Hitchie.
I thought about it.
I can see that.
Yeah, yeah.
What else?
A new survey found the millennials are way worse that a lot of basic jobs around the house than their parents were.
So we're just not living up to par.
We don't have.
We don't learn the skills.
I say we.
Eddie.
Well, whoa, well, guys, I'm a millennial.
No, you're not.
in the 70s.
Let me give you some of these things
and see if Bobby can do them.
Oh, no, I can't.
I used to do them all.
I can't do them anymore.
Can you sew a button?
Yeah, I can.
I can.
I can't.
I can't home back.
I can remember that one.
Okay, can you fix a blown fuse.
Yes, I still can do that.
Will I know, but can't.
There's a difference in can I will.
Is there a risk of fire if he does?
Yes.
Can you cook a meal from scratch?
Depending on what meal?
Sure.
Okay.
Yeah, I can do chicken tender.
What does scratch me?
Yeah, that's a thing.
From everything in your cabinet,
and not using anything processed or pre-made or anything.
Scratch.
Oh, probably not.
Yeah, yeah.
It could scratch scratch.
So you have to kill the chicken and do all that.
I'm not talking about.
I have to breed the chickens, then kill the baby, pluck him and all that.
That's just kind of a trick question.
Well, I guess I mean like biscuits.
You're not going to the Pillsbury doughboy and cracking the can.
I consider getting the can and cooking those.
That's scratch for me.
You're getting the flour and you're needing the dough.
Scratch has changed over the years.
Scratch just means Uber Eats doesn't deliver it.
And can you check the tire pressure on your car?
Yeah, I have to all the time because the weather goes up and down here.
So all of a sudden my PSI so much lower, I got to go and I hate the weather.
Yeah, the weather is terrible.
Just the weather period.
Can we just have one weather?
It would just be easier if it was just one weather.
And wherever we went, just one weather, it's like I want to wear the same clothes every day, just like Steve Jobs did.
It's like people in Hawaii.
I want to have one weather where one set of clothes, have one haircut, it never grows.
I like the idea of seasons and seeing the leaves change.
That would be nice.
And you just push a button in it if you want it to grow.
out at will, but I just don't like that.
You don't ever get to bundle up. I don't care. I want to
use my mind on things that matter.
I'm not stupid things like, what am I going to wear today?
We'll start doing that. You don't, you keep saying that
but you know how easy it would be to just start wearing black t-shirts all the time?
No, I get yelled at. You're not camera ready to shoot videos for Tampa.
That's true. Get off me.
Yeah, I wear the same thing every day. It's pretty easy.
How many videos do we shoot?
For clients. Nobody wants him in video.
Now I have a question about him wearing the same thing.
Do you sit, that energy you're saving?
with your brain, where do you use that?
Nass. I don't know what energy
you're talking about is picking up on the floor.
You don't have to spend your time focusing on other things.
You just make it easy. So what do you...
I mean, you think he spends a lot of energy on his clothes?
I mean, he just grabs something out of the closet and brings it in.
Buy them, though. I have to pick them out.
No, he's into the shoes.
What do you call?
What is your nickname?
You and the shoe people are like...
I'm not a sneakerhead.
Yeah, you are.
Sneakerhead.
I enjoy shoes a lot.
But I'm not like Thomas Rett, who enjoys just sneakers.
I like all shoes.
But I do have a lot of shoes.
A shoe chaser.
I probably have a hundred pairs of shoes.
What?
Yeah, probably.
Yeah.
Okay, I'm not a sneaker head.
I'm a shoe boy.
That sounds bad.
I hate me, that's your file.
He has like 11 jobs.
He drives Uber.
He does this job.
Now he's taking bartending classes.
Did you guys know this?
Wow.
Just started.
Yeah, so I kind of want to be a bartender.
So a girl at one of the bars,
she trains me every Saturday from 10 to noon.
So I'm learning the drinks.
Right now I'm a mixologist, boys.
Well, you're making the easy drinks like Captain and Coke,
and you're not making like the cosmopolitans and the dirty martinis.
You're just at a bar where it's like liquor, Coke.
Wait, why go right to the negative?
Right.
You're not.
No.
No, I'm asking if he's going for a high class place or just like a bar just like where you're just...
It's a college bar.
What's the goal?
Probably on a Saturday night pick up a shift, do some bartending.
I know people that make six figures
that do bartending.
They'll have their money through Friday job.
I'm dead serious.
CEOs of companies.
And I,
you know CEOs of companies that bartend on Saturday?
They only barred on Saturday and they make six figures.
Yes.
That's not true.
I'm dead serious.
That's a lie.
That's 52 Saturday.
Because you meet, you become social.
You meet so many people.
It's so great for your personality.
Name one.
One.
One.
One CEO.
I'd like to meet them.
Okay.
And one CEO that's bartending on Saturday.
Bobby, do the math.
How many, how much is that?
On a Saturday night, there's only 52 Saturday nights.
No, but that's not the point he's saying that you meet people and then they hire you a CEO.
And it helps your personality.
I thought he was saying CEOs like as a side job.
No, I don't think Michael Dells out there going, what do you have?
You want a corona?
Okay, Ray.
Well, anyways, yeah.
I'm just starting with the breakfast drinks right now.
So the mimosa, screwdrivers, your Bloody Mary's.
Oh, my.
The Bachelorette parties would love Ray.
I bet you could get lots of tips because you're really personal and fun.
Why are you doing it just for extra cash or to be a CEO?
Do you want to run Target?
I kind of like side jobs.
Yeah.
Yeah, and to make that six figures only working Saturdays,
we're looking about $1,900 in a night and tips.
There you go.
You do that, yeah.
I know a lot of people that.
I will say this about you, right?
A lot of other people on the show aren't motivated.
They say they're motivated and they're not.
You don't say you are and you just go do things.
Yeah.
Nobody works, just grinds.
Well, I say nobody.
Let's walk in that.
They don't grind.
like you do, and they're always talking about it. Oh, really? Are you talking about me?
No, no. Yes, he's talking about you. I mean, there's a lot of people in the show that don't grind.
Nah, Ray does, though. Yeah, you'll see me slinging drinks. Yeah, throwing them up, bottles up, flipping them.
Let us know your first shift will come out, right?
Locktail.
Yeah, what are you doing today?
I have my dermatologist appointment. Yeah, I get that checked down your leg.
Pretty much, I don't know how long that's going to take.
Probably years. Yeah, if I even make it out of their life.
Because it looks gross.
and then I'll work out
and then it's time to go pick up the kids
basically.
Yeah, school ends at what time?
Yeah, I have to leave the house around two
to go grab him and then we kind of hang out
in the area for about 45 minutes waiting for her to get out.
So I take my computer and he has this tablet
and I just kind of work in the carpool line or the drop-off line.
And so he waits in the car with you too.
Uh-huh.
Oh, interesting.
Yeah.
Once it gets nice outside, I don't want to walk around while we wait,
but I don't know.
What about you?
You want to go pick up?
kids? I just like to come around when it's fun. Because then they associate me with fun things.
Like all the times I come to your house, it's always movie time or food time, you know.
But what fun things are you up to today? No, nothing fun. I got my book back and holy crap.
I have so much work to do. Oh. I should send you like it. You get it in email form or do you get it like in a big stack with red lines?
No, no stack. It's in a word document. And word doc, it's like 211 pages.
and I sent it off and thought, I'm done with this.
We can't even decide on the cover.
This thing's, I don't know what's going to happen with it.
It's for sure coming out the summer, good or bad,
I'm just putting it out.
So have you done the photo shoot for the cover?
We did a photo shoot, but they didn't,
I didn't like, I don't want my picture on the cover.
I don't want nothing to do with my face.
I'm so tired of me.
You have no idea how tired of me I am.
Yeah.
But they're, you know, you're marketable.
Your face is marketable.
I don't care about my face on a book.
That's a fight we're having right now.
Who do you think is going to win?
I can win if I dig in, but it's like life.
You have to pick your battles.
And there are things I feel are more important than the book cover about the book.
And don't you think they know what they're doing?
And it probably is good to have your face on it?
I do think you surround yourself with people that know what they're doing.
That's why we're here.
Yeah, absolutely.
But then again, it's gut.
And if there's something I really feel passionate about, I'll stick to it.
I just don't feel super passionate.
You should put a disclaimer.
My face isn't on here because I'm tired of it.
Oh.
I mean, I'm so, I'm so tired of my face.
I just, I can't take any more of me.
All I do is talk about me and us.
All I do is write this book and write it for four or five months about me and us.
All I do is sit and talking to the mirror about me, you know?
It's a lot.
I have practice conversations about me with the mirror.
No, we get it, man.
Yeah, it's a lot.
Yeah, we're tired too.
It's just too much.
But I got to pay the rent.
Yeah, it's a mortgage.
Got to eat.
Got to eat.
It's a mortgage.
Yeah, it's a mortgage.
Yeah, it's a mortgage.
And the dog's got to eat, and that royal canine is expensive.
Oh, are we going to eat that ever?
Eddie, why would you bring it up?
No, no, no, I never.
I don't forget anything.
I have notes from ideas you've sent me a year ago that I'm sitting on.
Oh, so then you got a lot of good stuff in there.
No, mostly it's garbage.
If we do eat it, do you have to eat the whole can or a bite?
No, no, just a big bite.
Oh, thank you.
Just a big bite.
But Morgan number two, who brings the web to you,
she has decided that she doesn't want to take part in it because it has prescription,
but it has pork buy products slightly in it.
Yeah, and I think I'll get sick.
So she's a vegetarian, and so that means no dog food.
Wow.
I lean vegetarian.
Oh, but, okay, well, this doesn't lean real human food.
Yeah, this is dog food.
Maybe we put Raymond in it or something.
I don't like the word pork byproduct.
Yeah, well, it's dog food, Amy.
What do you want?
I don't know.
Is it like the little pig's tail?
I don't know.
I don't ask questions like that.
I don't even know what biproduct means.
Dear Vets.
I mean leftovers from what they don't use in the bacon.
Yeah, we're going to go.
Okay.
I'm going to go box or do yoga today, one of the two.
Oh.
We've done yoga in a while.
I'm going to do yoga with you one day.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I checked.
No, no, no, no, no.
Check the calendar.
You checked.
You're available.
You're doing yoga when I'm picking the kids up.
Got it.
You're busy.
All right.
