About one third of us are driving around with a steering wheel that is disgusting. Like germ-ridden, like in every time you touch it, the stuff gets on your hands and if your hands touch your face, you get sick. Yeah.

The research shows that the average steering will has four times more bacteria than in your bathroom. Wow. They say the average steering wheel has 629 colony forming units. I don't even know what that means,

but it sounds disgusting. It sounds like all the bacteria is having babies and they're in colonies and they're continuing to produce. What people, because usually happens, People eat, they sneeze, they cough, all in their cars.

And you just grab the deal. Sometimes they don't even cover it in their car because they're like, no one's in here with me. So why do I need to cover my sneeze if no one's in the car with me? So they say Purell your steering wheel. Interesting. Or maybe not purell, but whatever. Clean it. Yeah, I clean it.

Disinfect it somehow. You're known to have a dirty car. Yeah, my car has 200,000 miles on it, and I don't think I've ever cleaned the steering wheel ever. Do you guys clean your credit cards? No. Oh, you don't? Why would you clean your credit card? For everybody that touches them?

Because you hand that thing over a lot of times. It's getting more and more where you put the chip in the bottom of a machine or you swipe it yourself. But people are grabbing your card or you're grabbing your card. You guys don't ever watch your card. No, but I mean, I touch money, which who knows where that's been? Disgusting. You don't touch money? Do you wash the money?

If I touch the money, I wash my hands. Wow. I clean my credit card about once a week. I should probably do it more. Every time someone else touches it, you should. If I go into the bathroom, my wallets and my pants, like if I'm somewhere else and there's soap, I'll clean my credit card. You just dump out in the sink.

No, but I'll just take it out and give it a little scrub. I even Googled last week is getting your credit card wet too many times bad for it. Oh, my goodness. And it's not because it's basically just the strip. The strip. Yeah. You think that's crazy? Yeah, I've never even thought about washing my credit card.

I mean, it's just, I feel like my car is clean. Your car's not clean. Your car's not clean. Not clean. We can confirm that now. But your credit card, it goes in your wallet, which is clean. against the germs are wiped off the... Your wallet's probably not even clean.

I also clean door handles a lot of my house. Yeah. Like, I will just go through sometimes to just clean the door handles. Clean nothing else. And I always wear sleeves over my hands, especially here, and I open door handles.

Again, I have gotten a lot closer to my dad this last year because he's dealing with cancer and things that I've had to deal with as a daughter. I've seen my dad at 77 years old in ways I don't want to see him. And let me tell you, add 10 years of my dad's life and make him 88 and you're not attracted to it.

It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something. Heard away from his home of Michigan. Never got back. Well, that changed earlier this week on a very cold day when a sheriff's deputy was called to the neighborhood because there was a dog under a porch and the dog wouldn't come out. They finally got the dog out and it was Clyde. Clyde had a caller tag and all it took was a single call to back in the home. It's five months later.

Wow. They were like, we think this is your dog. They were like, our dog escaped five months ago. And because it was so cold, the dog had to find somewhere kind of warm and then they ended up reuniting Clyde with his home. Isn't that crazy? That's got to be one of the best calls ever. right? Yeah, five months.

When my dog would go missing, and I just wouldn't know, ooh, once the news did a story, and we found them. Yeah, that's true. He busted out because of fireworks, ran out through the back. They started shooting fireworks earlier than I thought they were going to, and they were like, don't let your dogs out, because they'll... And someone's like, oh, I got your dog. Oh, that's a great, great day for me.

Well, I'm glad that Clyde is back, and that's tell me something good right there on the Bobby Bone Show. That's what it's all about. Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Glory up the day. This story comes to us from Kansas City, Kansas. Two guys were playing a game of Monopoly, and one guy got mad when the other guy didn't have enough money to pay the rent of the hotel.

So he takes his head and slams it into a mirror. Oh, wow. Guy had to go to the hospital and get like 12 stitches, and he was arrested for battery. Was there alcohol involved? They do believe alcohol played a factor. I believe that, too, and I wasn't there nor did I go there. But I would believe that's the case, too. The hotel rents really high, though, and I'm going on.

So with 1 being not at all and 10 being superstitious, Amy? Okay, so I go 2, because I'm really not superstitious, but sometimes I knock on wood. That's superstitious. That's why I'm a 2, because I don't really think me knocking on the wood is doing

anything, but I still do it. So some part of me, like a teeny a little bit, might think that locking on wood might might help. Would you walk under a ladder? Oh, yeah. You don't care? Would you break a mirror? Yeah. Okay, no problem? I knock on wood. That's the one thing you do. That's the one, so I'm a two. Do you believe in the jinks? What is the jinks? I say, when we say something at the same

time? No, that's like jinks for a coat. Pinch poke, don't know me a coke. That's like slug. Good, the arm one. Pinchback, you'll be like, you don't want to say something because you'll jinx it. Like, if you say... Oh, yeah, that, no. You'd be like, for sure, my kid's going to get an A.

Oh, you'd be like, ooh, I don't say that. Then you'd be like, ooh, I don't believe in the jinx. Oh, you have very little superstition in you. Knuckle one. I mean, I don't think I'm superstitious at all. Yeah, but I feel like you have a little bit of the genes. No, no jinx. I don't think that what I can think is worthy to change the outcome of anything in life.

If I were to say it to you, like, something like, you know, you know, Okay, all right, that's good. Don't believe in the jinx. Zero one? Don't believe in superstition. Yeah. Like, no part of me believes that there's anything about superstition that's real. Yeah.

You're the cool guy. Yeah, cool guy. But you're a sports fan. Don't you believe in the curse of the billy goat? Don't believe in it. But there's been times where you've been like... Go ahead. Call me out.

This is a good time to call me out. I don't remember the exact details, but I know that over the years it's something about Arkansas football and you've been like it has to... What, something. Y'all remember. With the clubs. He does, yeah, like if he watches the game. I don't believe that my feelings or actions can affect something major.

Oh, you're crazy. I don't. So I put me, I'm not superstitious at all. You don't even knock on wood? Not really. Sometimes I'll do a joke, I'll knock on my head and be like, knock on wood. But even then I don't believe it. Okay, so you're a one.

I'm a two. Lunchbox? Ten. Oh, you're that. Ten. Absolutely ten. I mean, sports, everything I wear the same. If I have, like, my favorite basketball team is Kansas University.

So if they win, I wear the same shirt until they lose, and then I can wash the bad germs off. Like the 2002 World Series, my brother and roommate and I were watching Game 6. The Angels came back and beat the Giants to force Game 7. We wanted the Angels to win. My roommate could not be there the next night. We laid out his clothes in the exact same spot. Oh, wow. I am so superstitious.

That's crazy. Cannot jinx it. Can't say, oh, we got this game in the bag. Pretty ready? Superstition is so dumb to me, but I do it. Like, I'm with lunchbox. When the Cowboys play, I have the same team. shirt that I wear and it's important. Also, I catch myself saying, don't say that, don't say that

there's three things that they all like. Clothes that fit, a nice book and a nice pillow. Some things they can't afford. So Ruby said, Mom, I want to raise some money. Started a GoFundMe page, and she's raised $30,000. Wow. So she can do three wishes with Ruby. Wow.

How old is she? Eleven. Wow. Do you hear that Amy, Eddie? You have kids around that age. Yep. And like secretly wish your kid would have an idea like this. Absolutely.

Yes, of course. Do you ever want to do one and act like they did it? But you actually do it and then get... Maybe that'll get the ball rolling. And then it's like, we go like, wow, your kid's so awesome. And really, you did it. Yeah. Does that ever cross your mind?

No. No. But now it has. But, yeah. Yeah, like one lady wanted fresh strawberries because she hadn't had fresh strawberries in eight years. So Ruby took some of that money and went bought fresh strawberries. Another one of the thing I like about this segment Lunchbox has a whole different voice

He sure does. He's got a bonehead story of the day voice. He's got to tell me something's good voice. Can we hear him all? He's got a sexy voice. He's like, baby. What is my tell me something good voice? I'm just trying to make it sound.

Is it not here today? No, it's not here. It's not here. No, you know, it sits on my bar in my, in my kitchen. That's a good spot for it. People are always like, what do you do with it? But, you know, I think people too also think you win some big amount of money. Like, when you, I didn't. And you want, did you want American Idol, right? Or you second? I want it. You want, okay. So, did you get a big amount of money? No, just a record contract. Okay. Did people think they just gave you like a million dollars? That was the main question was, so would you do with the million dollars? It's like, I haven't seen it yet, but I'd love to, you know? So what do they give you when you win? Like a record deal? A record deal. I got a truck. Still driving that truck.

Real? What kind of truck they give you? F-150, King Ranch. I got to pick it all out. I kind of did every option on it. And the next year, I think Ford cut back on that. Like, I got the truck. Lauren got like a Shelby, like old-school nice car. Next year they gave them like a Ford Focus. And I think they were a little tight about that. Isn't that cool that you and Lauren are like both making it now, too? Isn't it funny how it worked? I mean, we started out so young.

I feel like both of us just kind of had to grow up a little bit and know what we wanted to say. Yeah, it's feeling good. Dude, I'm happy for you, man. Just in general. I had someone over my house other day, and I do a show from my house. It's about songwriting. It's a podcast called The Bobbycast. And I only have five or six, like, musical momentos that I keep up in this room.

Because having the job that I have, people just want to give you stuff all the time because they're like, hey, if we give you something, you like us more, and then it's like tip for tat, you know? Yeah. So I don't, I really don't accept things. But you know, one of them that I have up, put those headphones on. I let you hear this. Because it is special to me. because it's special to you.

It's this one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's awesome, man. This was not the best time for me, and I remember getting a call. We were putting this single out, and I got a call and said, hey, Bobby wants to call and talk to you about this song. I was like, I'm ready. I got the phone here, let's do it, and that's like the first time folks heard it. Yeah, I was really proud of you for that.

I didn't do anything except go, hey, I was like the waiter, you know? Yeah. The cooks made it in the kitchen. All I did was take it out of the people, and then they liked it. We appreciate it. Yeah, I liked that. So I have that in my room. One day you'll come over and do that podcast in my house.

The best was still Luke Bryan introducing, we went to a show a few years ago and Riley and took all friends back there to go say, hey to Luke. And I was like, hey, Luke, this is my buddy, Paolo. And they said, hey, Paula, is my friend Ashley. And he said, hey, Ashley. And this is

my girlfriend, Gubi. And he said, hey, Debbie. It's just not even close. Hey, Debbie. Hey, Debbie. We still call you in. So how did you guys meet? Kindergarten. Yeah, we grew up together. So she had in her kindergarten diary. She had Mrs. Gubi McCreery written in hearts all over. It still has it. That's so cute. I think we were meant to be together, you know. You believe in that? I really do. I really do. It took me a while. I'm kind of awkward with the lady, so it took me a while to work up the nerve to talk to her. In kindergarten?

Well, not then. I don't think they started dating. That's just when they met. That's the only time I had nerve was kindergarten. Then I got told I wasn't cool. So when did you start dating her? Senior year of high school. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it definitely took a minute. Yeah, it did. How old are you? 25. Like last year. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. And, and the, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, You were telling us about the wedding. Didn't you guys have like, didn't you like pick the ribs or something?

Didn't you like pick part of the food? Yeah, yeah. That was pretty much my only job. She did everything else, but I got a little control of the food. Is life different now that you're married? It's a lot. You know, my favorite thing is just coming back from the road now because before I lived with a bunch of guys in the house and it was dirty and it stunk and it was just whatever. But now I get to come home to my wife every time when we see each other more and she's on the road a little more.

Are you clean? Are you guys clean? Cleanish. Yeah? Yeah. There's stuff on the floor. What are your, her, like, what does she take care of? And then what are your responsibilities?

I'm kind of, I do a lot of the cooking. Like, I love to get on the grill and grill a nice steak and everything. And she's great at, like, doing the laundry and the dishes. She'll put it in. She's like, can you do this? We kind of, we're a team, you know, we kind of do a little bit together. I assume you would be a team player. I just didn't know what role you fit into.

Yeah, I kind of chill. And if she asks, I try to help out. I chill. Okay. Scotty, let me give you a tip. Like just be proactive Just do it Like find something that you can really contribute

And go ahead and be proactive Like if you're just chilling and she's having to ask That's not being a team I've been bingeing a lot of Netflix Since we got this dog So I should probably get up and do something With my life But yeah

I liked it a lot It wasn't like the best thing I've ever watched in my life But every episode I was like Oh I got to watch the next Well, I got to watch the next one. So they draw you in.

And the end was like, well, dang, there's going to be. Don't say, yeah, don't you do it. Scotty McCrude, don't you spoil it. It's not a spoil. Okay, well, now I'm going to have to maybe watch it. Yeah. Did you watch the Fire Fest documentary? Yeah, both of them.

I watched both of them too. Yeah, like the same day. Me too. They're nuts, right? They're nuts. Holy cow. I couldn't imagine being somebody that spent 25 grand on a ticket, flying to an airport you didn't know where you were going to like two days prior.

And you get to like a FEMA tent. You pay 25 grand for it. Yeah, like, who are those people? That's part of it, too. It looked awesome, though. Like, who had, on the social media, like, amazing. Yeah. Until you saw the real life part of it.

Yeah. They screwed up big time. I don't know. Amy, there were some people that paid like 80 grand. They were selling like a cabana for like $250,000. Uh-huh. Not like yacht packages to go have a cook for you. With a model.

By the way, this stuff never happened. So as much as we're like, that's crazy to do. I'd love her to happen one day. Like, that'd be awesome. It was so crazy, but nobody did it because it was never a thing. Yeah. Yep. Holy cow.

Yeah, I've been told now the Patriots tickets are going about $3,000 each. Dude, so the first, it sounds terrible. The first Super Bowl we went to, we got tickets from like a friend, and we're sitting there and we're going in, we're driving to the game, and Dad's like, let's just look up how much these tickets will be worth, you know, just both of us and looked it up, and they were going for $13,000 a pop. And Dad's like, are you sure you don't want to go to Buffalo Wild Wings

and watch this game? Like, we can do that. And it's like, we're here. We've got to go. But that's a big decision. and when he can, yeah. We thought about selling ours too. Oh, when you were going?

Yeah, we thought about it. But we were already in Indianapolis, and it's like how often we'll ever get to go to the Super Bowl? I don't know. Yeah, like not that often. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, well, let's do this. I'm going to play five more minutes.

But it was pretty fun. I've been talking to some people about maybe doing a game show. And I use Steve Harvey as an example of, because I used to be like, I don't want to do a game show because I don't want to be a game show host. But Steve Harvey, he's not a game show host.

No, he's not. He's inside of a game and he's like super funny and engaging. He's mainly just talking to you and laughing at you and yeah, everything. I use him a lot. That's why I asked that. But then I saw that they bring me a whole thing. Like here's what I have of you, right? Okay.

They bring me a bunch of pictures of you. And one of them was of you on Family Feud. Oh, awesome. And I was like, let me ask him about that. Do they give you money on that show? If you won, yeah, we did 25 grand to St. Jude. So we ended up winning that one. Oh, so you won.

Yeah, we won. Who'd you beat? And then you did it for charity. Chris Catan. was on Saturday Live, head bobbing, all that. Where if you lose?

Do you get money to give to charity? Or is it just like stuff for you? I think it's like 10 grand or something like that just gives. So, which, yeah.

Yeah, right? Yeah, right? Yeah, it's like February through March. just some of our places that the people can hear us. Myrtle Beach, Eastern PA, Lancaster, PA, Norman, Oklahoma, Bowling Green, Paduca, Jackson, Mississippi. It's a lot.

Yeah. We've been out with Jimmy Allen and Heather Morgan here recently, and those are some awesome folks. Jimmy's, like, the nicest guy ever met in my life. Yeah, almost where you wonder if he's going to, like, stab you or rob you, because he's so nice. Too nice. It's how I thought about Little Big Town,

I was like, are they going to jump me? Like, are they being so nice to me that I'm going to turn around, and Jimmy and Karen are going to beat me up? I hear it's kind of like you, the Netflix. Can you put him in both just for a little bit and let him see what he likes? I think that would be the easy solution is to let him do some ballet. ballet, let him do some hip-hop, and see which one he gravitates to himself. Because he will only do the sister thing for so long. If he ends up loving the ballet, then great. Okay, okay. I love, Amy, if he loves anything that's a good, no, you're not either. And if you didn't, you just missed it unless someone would record it. Because we weren't smart enough to use our VCRs and record where we could go away and record it. Correct. We were smart enough to figure it out to record it if we were there. But if we were there, we were watching it. So you just had a copy of it. Oh, that was the choice. And that was ABC?

Yeah. Yeah. It aired on ABC from 87 and 95. And by the way, I was watching that, um, Avengers, that third one. Michelle Tanner's little sisters on it. Oh, really? The Olson girl, she's the red hair girl who's a superhero.

She's dating the dude with the stone in his head. Whoa, I didn't even put that together. Who was that character? Who? Vision. Terrible character. Really? He can like see.

And he's like, I've never been here before. And he gets there and it turns out that the dude their last semester was his twin brother. They didn't know each other. So they get matched up. Then the newspaper writes a story like two twin brothers. They didn't know they were twins. This is so fascinating. They're 19 years old and they've never met.

And then someone goes, these guys look like you to another dude. And it's like, what? Then they have triplets. and then it just gets good. And I mean, they're so identical that it's like, there's no way. It's like, oh, you sort of look like. Yeah, it's not your cousin. It is so good.

Like, you have to watch it. And the guy was just like, I get to college, I've never been there. Everybody's walking up and hugging me. Girls are kissing me. And he's just going, what is going on? But you guys say all this and the story alone's crazy. But then you guys make it sound like there's something to watch it. Eddie, there's more.

That's the first 10 minutes of the movie. Because you have to think there was these three babies. They once were together and then they were. And then they went to Fire Fest. And nothing was there.
