feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
It would not be...
Right, it wouldn't be that.

The Best Bits of the Week with Morgan.
Part one.
Behind the scenes with a member of the show.
Welcome, everybody.
It's best bits.
time I'm joined this weekend by the lovely Abby. Hello. Hello. How you feeling? I'm good. How are you?
Good. A little tired, a little, little strung out it feels like, but we are here and we're kicking.
Yeah, we are. And we got things to talk about. So before Abby and I get into some fun stuff that y'all really
want to hear about, the best bits this week, we've got the today years old when I learned blank that
happened. Everybody was mind-blown during that. Amy Grant stopped by the studio. Lunchbox sold something from the
palette finally. I did a smell test because I feel like my smell is finally back, maybe.
Brothers Osborne also stopped by the studio. We had Dr. Raglan in for Eddie's possible
hair transplant situation. And we did a draft of things we want to go away in 2024 that
definitely got dark. So that is everything that's happening this week from the show. But
Abby, we have to talk. Listeners have lots of questions for you and I both. They do. About our love
lives. Oh, gosh. And I've decided the way to go about doing this that will be easy as, like, friends
talking about it versus, like, kind of invasive questions. Yeah. Is you and I can each ask each other
three questions about this, and that's where we leave it. Okay. Okay. Okay. And you can, in those
questions, you can say, plead the fifth. I'm not answering. I'm not ready to answer. I like this.
That's an option. Yeah. But that, at least is coming from each other. And we're still talking about it.
Okay.
Yes.
All right.
So I'm going to start.
Okay.
And I'm starting out like swinging for a home run.
Have you guys said I love you?
I knew that was my question.
I knew it.
How did I know?
Like I said, can you plead the fifth.
You can.
You can.
But like also, if you feel comfortable, please share.
I am going to say I plead the fifth on that one.
Okay.
All right.
It's a big deal for me to say love.
I will say that.
Yeah, you totally get it.
And it is a huge deal, especially after when you've been through a lot of stuff.
So I get it.
Yes.
Cool.
Played the fifth.
Okay.
All right.
Do you want to go back and forth or do you want me to ask my three and then you ask your three?
Let's see.
You asked your three.
Then I'll ask mine.
Okay.
Have there been any serious conversations about the future?
Yes, there have.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's very good.
He's better than me at like bringing things up.
But he's also like we're at an age where you don't really have time.
We're not, I'm not in my early 20s where I'm like, oh, it's fine.
Like, whatever.
Yeah, you're not messing around anymore.
Right.
It's like I think we're dating at this point to like know if we want a future with this person.
So yes, there have definitely been conversations on it.
And you feel good about those conversations.
I do.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Love it.
All right.
Yes.
What is your favorite thing about him?
Oh my gosh.
And I know you probably have so many.
Yeah.
But name like a big thing that comes to mind right when I ask that.
I would say that he's so easy going.
Like he never is difficult.
And I'm not used to that.
Usually it's like there's pushback or like, hey,
I'm going to go like the half marathon.
Like he wanted to run it with me.
You know, he could have been like,
you know, I don't want to do that.
Like I have other things to do.
Or, you know, something like that.
Like, he always wants to like join in.
Or like, if I want to do something last minute, like, hey, you want to go downtown and do this.
Like, he'll be like, sure, why not?
So it's just super like easy, I would say.
Okay.
Which I love.
I love it.
See, we got some details.
Do you feel good about those?
I do.
Yeah, yeah.
I don't think it was too much.
So I like.
You like the version.
All right.
Now it is your turn to put me on the spot.
Okay. So I already had this one in mind. You guys said, I love you. No. No, we're not there yet.
Has he proposed yet? I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Definitely no. And that, I won't make it count on your second
question, but no. No, we have not. I know. I love you. Has not happened yet, but that was funny.
Let's see. What has been, I guess, okay, does he usually plan all the dates and, or what is,
the best date you guys have gone on. That's kind of two questions. Oh yeah. That is, that's a few questions.
Let's just do what, what is your favorite date you've ever been on? Favorite date. Okay, I will say yes. He has
planned 95% of things we have done together. And our favorite date. The best date. So far,
gosh, this is hard. We've had some good dates. And it's funny because they're not like crazy.
But like, so our second date, I think maybe my favorite so far because it was just so uniquely both of us.
He had planned a new Greek restaurant for me to try because he knows I loves trying new restaurants.
And of course, they have to have vegetarian food.
So Greek restaurant, it was amazing.
It's now one of my favorite places, like added a foodie spot for me.
And then after the date, we both drove there because it was the second date.
He didn't pick me up even though he offered.
And he was like, I washed my car in case you want me to pick you.
Oh, pick you up.
That's really new.
No, it's okay.
Not quite yet.
Not there.
I'm just very cautious at this point.
Yeah.
But so we were like in the parking lot talking before we were going to leave and he saw like all the all the ducks on my Jeep.
And he was like, what are?
And he asked what those are about.
So I told him he's like, well, let's go duck some jeeps.
So we like drove around in the parking lot and ducked like three different jeeps.
And he had the best time just literally running, grabbing these things out of my little like glove compartment and taking them and just
running and putting them on jeeps. He's like, this is awesome. That's so cute. It was adorable.
And then he drives a stick shift vehicle. And I was like, I am never touching one of those.
That's terrifying. He's like, no, it's fine. I'll teach you. Put me in his car. And I, he taught
me how to stick shift drive in the parking lot after this date. What? And we're just like hanging out
having like the best time for the stupidest reasons. Like to other people, they'd be like,
what just happened? But he was so calm and so fun.
and just it worked so well in so many ways.
Like we did so many different things that I learned a lot about him in those moments.
Like he's very patient.
He's very kind.
And I mean, I could have crashed this man's car.
And he was just like, yeah, you're good.
You're doing great.
I'm like, okay.
So did you learn?
I didn't learn.
Oh, yeah.
I drove around.
I drove around the park.
I am scared to drive on the main roads, but I drove around the parking lot.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
No, that really does test somebody's like patience.
Oh, yeah.
And he has, oh, my gosh.
His patience is through the roof.
Like he could put up with anything that I do.
Oh my gosh.
He doesn't get mad because, yeah, that's a red flag.
No.
There was no anger.
And I was like, who are you?
Yes.
So it was just a really good experience.
Like funny, quirky.
I was giggling the whole time.
I left and I was like, dang, I want to hang out with him again.
I love that.
That's a good sign.
That's how I feel when I'm in mine too.
Yes.
I'm like, oh my gosh.
I want to be with him right now.
Right?
And he makes me giggly.
Like, I've never been that way.
I've always been pretty.
confident and just I never really had that like kind of giggly schoolgirl since I was like in high school
you know what I mean and I just started giggling and I don't know why I'm just like a little giggle box
that's amazing okay that makes me happy yep there's this their second question one more my third one so
are you guys official okay this is this is just for best bits I'm sure I will share more on the big
at some point in time later, but without sharing too much detail, I, we are no longer on dating
apps.
Okay.
That's a big thing.
That's okay.
And haven't been for a minute.
So.
Love that.
What an answer.
What an answer.
Okay.
That's a good, it's going towards a, okay.
There's more, but I'm still kind of sitting on it.
I'm just really enjoying all of this right now until I'm kind of ready to share.
I think I also shared a little bit with.
was on last weekend and now I'm not sure what. Did you? You just like word vomit everything.
I just get so excited to talk about him. Yes. It's a weird thing. When I, like when I went to,
which we'll get into in a little bit, I went to a bachelor at party and people would ask me about it.
Like, oh yeah, let me talk about him. And I haven't, I just haven't. Abby, I have not felt
comfortable, especially in my last two relationships where I was like, I would talk about him and I was
excited to be dating. But I haven't felt safe to talk about them. Like right now I feel safe. I don't feel
like I'm going to get bamboozled. I'm not going to be tricked. I'm not going to be like,
oh gosh, I shared this. And now two weeks later, here's this. I do constantly feel like the other
foot is going to drop. And I say that to him a lot. And he literally looks at me. He's like,
both of my feet are firmly planted right here. Like for me, that is. And I'm like, I love that.
not for me.
I'm a hot mess express over here.
Right.
But I haven't felt that way in a long time to just feel like, okay, I feel safe that
you're actually just a good human being and this hopefully will progress in the best ways.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
So that's all new to me.
And I'm still trying to understand and comprehend that.
That's why I think I'm afraid to be like, yes, this is where we are.
This is what's happening because I'm just like, I'm anticipating that we're.
worst things to happen because I'm so used to that. No, I feel that too. Even though he's given me
zero reason to feel that way. Zero. Like not even a little bit. That is amazing. Yeah, because even
with the guys I was dating, like, there were red flags, but I just kind of ignored them. So then I just
didn't talk to many people about him because then they'd be like, oh, so, you know, what did you get
you for your birthday? And, you know, I'd be like, oh, he forgot. It was my birthday. And then they'd be
like, wait, why are you with this guy that doesn't even care about you? So I just didn't like talk
about it. But now I'm kind of the same way. I just, I feel comfortable talking to.
about it and people asking me questions because I don't have anything that I want to hide.
Especially now, because you guys have been together for how long now?
It was before, it was like middle of December is when we were like official.
So it's been five months?
Yeah.
Five months.
Right.
A little over five months.
I would say, yeah, yeah.
We met like at the end of October.
Yeah.
Okay.
So then technically like seven months you've known each other.
Yeah, which is a long time.
Yeah.
No.
And like, that's at least at the point where you are really starting to understand.
and know somebody.
So I don't know that you can be at the point where you're waiting for the other shoe
to drop.
Do you feel like you've let that go a little bit?
Or is it still there?
Yeah, I've let it go.
But I'm still, I'm just like cautious like you.
Like I'm always scared for something.
I have these like abandonment, abandonment like issues just from like my family and things
in my past that I'm like, I feel like when things are so good, you're like, okay,
it's not going to last that long.
Because a lot of things.
Like it's too good.
Something has to happen.
Yes.
Or like, I feel like a lot of things in my past.
that are good have been taken away.
Like that kind of gets a little deep.
But that's what I'm always scared of.
I'm like, oh my gosh, is this going to be taken away next?
So I really hope not.
But that's just in my head and I can't help it.
And it's probably something I need to work through, obviously.
But is just something too he's helping you work through.
Like have you voiced that and then like, this is what I feel.
And he's like, okay, how can I help make this feel safer?
Yes.
Yeah.
For sure.
So I think that is what it's all about is like communication.
And sometimes I forget that because I don't want him to be like, wait,
are you like insecure or whatever but that's not what it is it's just you don't want the same patterns
to keep happening that have happened in your life so mm-hmm you know and communication is so huge
like you're talking about how he's a great communicator man in uniform is a great communicator
like it there's I never have to be like oh I can't talk about this or oh I don't want to bring
this up mm-hmm I want to bring everything up I'm like let's talk about it and he's like yeah okay
whatever that is amazing yes like that's so healthy right is it's it
It's not great to just like feel like you're in a healthy something?
Yeah.
I don't know.
But, you know, just you and I sitting over here waiting for that other shoot just fall off.
I know.
Welcome to our lives.
I know.
That's bad.
But I know we're not alone.
No.
And, you know, I, ours are different.
The reason I feel that way is from certain relationships.
The reason you feel that way is much different.
And for you, I don't know that that's ever going to go away.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
For what yours is related to.
and only you can speak to that.
But I don't know that that will ever be totally gone.
For me, and maybe you feel like if you hit a certain threshold, you will.
Like, I know for me, the day I get engaged or the day I get married are like the days that I genuinely have to be like, okay, I have to let this go.
When the ring goes on the finger.
Like, that's when.
And that's crazy that it's going to take that for me to get to that point.
Like, not, I would say I'm like 80% where I'm just like, it's that 20% where I'm just always waiting.
But that 20% I think would go away for me once that day comes to be like, okay, you actually like, I don't think you can go anywhere.
I mean, you still can, right?
Like, I don't know why.
That's just the thing I've kind of put in my head.
Right.
Because of everything I've been through.
Do you have that threshold?
Do you feel like?
Or do you feel like it is just going to be this lingering?
For some reason, I feel like it is, which scares me.
And I don't want that.
It's not a bad thing because you're aware of it.
You know?
It's part of who you are.
And you're just like, this is who I am.
And he seems to accept that based on what you're saying.
Yes.
So I don't know that you have to be afraid of it.
I just didn't know for your sake that there was ever going to be a threshold.
Uh-huh.
Like, I know.
I think about that.
And I'm like, I think it's just going to take some, like, I'm a words of affirmation.
I need that.
So sometimes just, but I don't want like the, you know, I'm not leaving you right.
I don't need like that.
But just, I don't know.
I don't know.
It's there.
I think words of affirmation for somebody who is a words of affirmation person,
it's not like saying each day, I love you so much.
I'm never going to leave.
It's the words of affirmation that coincide with the actions.
Yeah, 100%.
And the consistency of that, like in over a long period of time that I do think you could
probably get to that point where that's kind of just a very, very whisper in the back
of your brain versus this kind of loud, you know, devil on your shoulder for lack of a better
way to explain that. You know what I mean? Yeah. And, you know, I think actions are even more
important than the words because I've had guys in the past, they're like, you know, I'm not going
anywhere. Like, I would never go anywhere. What we have is great. And then, and then, hello, like,
they're like, oh, never mind. And so it is the actions you really have to look at. And over time,
I think you find a way to trust in those when they are consistent and they both coincide together.
So I do think it's possible for you, but I didn't know if you have been like, that's my threshold.
Like me, where I'm like, put a ring on my finger and I'll probably believe you.
I'm going to say five years into marriage.
Our fifth year anniversary.
Listen, we got some trauma, okay?
It's fine.
We do.
Okay, we're going to take a quick break and we're going to talk about some three good things that are happening in our lives right now.
Okay.
There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no, I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.

advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really
give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way
up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based
solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so
much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point
where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.

In 2023, former Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd,

revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story.
This began a years-long court battle
to prove the truth.
You doctored this particular test twice in so much, correct?
I doctored the test ones.
It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.
I wanted people to be able to see
what their tax dollars were being used for.
Sunlight's the greatest disinfected.
They would uncover a disturbing pattern.

All right, so we ended that drama.
Let's talk about some life lately.
What have you been up to?
I want you to share like three good things in your life right now.
And you had messaged me some of them.
So maybe you can use some of those or maybe different ones that come up, whatever you want.
I'm going to say the half marathon that I did because for one, I raised almost $6,000 for St. Jude,
which is awesome.
Which is like you should be clapping for yourself also, mostly because I'm going to
I am by myself in here.
And also I got to run it for the first time with my boyfriend, and that was really fun.
And he pushed me.
Like, I usually run it by myself.
I don't know.
I just, it's hard to stay with someone for 13.1 miles.
Did you guys stay together the whole time?
We stayed the whole time.
Did you guys talk?
A little bit.
Yeah.
So it was kind of fun.
How do you talk while running?
You're a psychopath.
I can't even run one mile on the treadmill.
I'm like, nobody talked to me.
Well, it was like till mile five.
And then after that, I was like, oh my God, I cannot talk.
But he just kept pushing me to be.
like, don't stop. I was like, can I walk for like two minutes? He's like, no, you got this.
So that was good. So is he a big runner too? No, that was his first half marathon. Are you kidding me?
Yeah. What the? I know. He had done a half iron man. So he's very casual. I know. He's like
really good at everything. He's very athletic. And so I'm the runner. So he thought I was going to like beat him by a
lot. But I kind of held him back a little. But it was very nice that he stayed with me. Oh, so you guys crossed the
finish line together? Yeah. No.
Our time, it was exactly.
Like, I don't know how that happened that it was to the second, the millisecond.
Did you guys kiss at the finish line?
Were you like, we did it?
No, I almost threw up.
I'm not even kidding.
Like, I was running so hard towards the end that I like literally almost did.
Like at the finish line.
Did you?
No.
I went on the ground.
But they gave me my medal and then, ooh, it was bad.
I was like, this would be great.
Because there's people just standing watching and I throw out.
But, yes.
Honestly, it would have been funny.
I've been very rom-com.
if he would have tried to kiss you and you're like,
bleh on him.
Oh my gosh.
That is what happens in Ronpaw.
So I like it.
That would be his ick for me, I think.
She threw up on me after a half marathon.
Permanent ick.
Okay, that's a really good one.
Congratulations to both of you guys.
Yeah.
What's another one?
Oh, my parents were there to watch because like my mom always comes every year and does it.
And she was like, well, now that you're dating someone, I don't want to get in the way.
And I was like, mom, this is our tradition.
So I really love that.
that we keep this tradition going.
So that was really cool.
That was fun.
Just because you're dating someone, I, you know, I've, I've had a lot of these conversations
with friends in my life.
Like, just because you're dating someone, like, you have your own life still.
You get to have your own life.
You should have your own life.
And those things don't just go away because you meet somebody.
Yes.
I know.
Exactly.
I was like, if he doesn't like that I'm close with my mom, that's a red flag.
For sure.
And you got to be close with your family.
And like those things are important.
I would never personally want someone to lose their friends or their family, those relationships,
just because we started dating.
That's not a good place to be in.
It's one thing to be like obsessed with them and want to spend all the time.
But like it's another that you make time for all those important factors of your own individual life.
Right.
So I love that you were like, no, mom, what are you talking about?
You're coming.
I know.
I was like, I'm not changing who I am, you know?
Like if he loves who I am now, then that's going to work out.
But if I have to change, then that's, it's not.
Yeah.
You better like my mom.
That is what we call toxic.
Not good.
Not good.
Yeah.
That is very toxic.
And then the final thing is I'm going to Morgan Wallen this weekend and I'm very excited.
Which night?
Because I heard he's here three nights in a show.
Friday.
Okay.
So you will, by the time this airs, you all have been at Morgan Wallen.
Yes.
Nice.
How much should those tickets cost you?
Uh, 250.
A piece?
Yes.
On the side.
I know.
I probably could have gotten some cheaper, but it was like an impulse buy.
Like my boyfriend and I were looking and we're like, let's just get them.
They might go up and I'm like, no, they're going down.
They keep going down as time goes.
It's okay.
Because there's three nights.
Are they good tickets?
Like, are you in good seats?
Oh, they're really good.
They're on the side.
I was debating between the floor and the side, but you know, being short.
I'm like, I know like a tall, the seven foot guy is going to stand in front of me.
Every time.
Every time.
Yes.
I could have a great view.
And all of a sudden, I turn one second and there's somebody new in front of me that's like 5,000
feet tall. Yes. And then I move another spot and then they do it again. And then they shift.
Yeah. And they're wearing like a cowboy hat and everything. So I'm like, I'm not going to take that
chance. I want to be able to see. Who's opening for that show? So let's see. Nate Smith and Bailey
Zimmerman. Oh, fun. What's her name? Lorne Watkins. Lauren Watkins? Yes. She's like the first one.
Oh, fun. Is that in Nissan Stadium, right? Yeah. It's going to be crazy. What song do you want to hear?
Oh, man. I love sand in my boots. I love that one.
Remind me how that one goes
Oh, but now I'm dodging
Pottles and my son verse
Silverado. There it is.
Yeah. Okay. That's another one.
I want to hear the Post Malone one. Some of them do blend together
for me. So I'm like, I know they do.
The one that's about to come out.
The one that's about to come out. Oh my gosh, it is a jam.
When does it come out? Is it this weekend?
No, I don't know. I don't know if they've announced it.
Have they? I don't know. I just know they've posted it.
So I'm like, did you guys at least share a date yet?
It's all over TikTok. It is.
And Ray's phone that he keeps playing it on every millisecond.
I know.
I sent him a video and he keeps playing it.
It's a really good one.
It is really good.
But literally every time I come out of the studio, he's playing it.
It's like a break song for him now.
It is.
So apparently something has surpassed Sam Hunt in this moment.
Oh, my gosh.
We're singing it.
Yep.
Oh, shoot.
Mm-hmm.
See?
Okay.
So those are fun.
A lot of fun stuff happening right now.
What about you?
Okay.
So I did just get back from.
Miramar Beach, Destin, Florida.
That looked, I was so jealous.
I was like, I need a beach.
It's so funny.
You're such a beach girl.
You're such a beach girl.
I'm not.
You're not.
They put me on the sand.
I was like, well, have sand in my swimsuit.
I don't like this.
I'd sit down and like, don't like it, heibi-jee-jee's.
I am not a beach girl.
Not at all.
Did you get in the water?
I did.
Well, I didn't during the beach day.
I did during our Crab Island day.
Okay.
So I've never been to Miramar.
I'd been to Destin, which, like, they're kind of,
kind of connected, but Miramar was beautiful. And we drove around. My favorite part was that our
Airbnb had a golf cart and I drove it around everywhere. Are you kidding me? That's awesome.
I felt so cool. I was like, guys, golf cart life. Like, this is the beach. That is what I like
about the beach. Put me in a golf cart and I'll just drive everybody around. This is so much fun.
I don't know. I don't know why it's so much fun to drive like a little cart like that around.
Just like a little electric. Was it an electric? Yeah. They are right. Yeah, I think they only go like
30 miles, 30, 35 miles an hour. And then we, I made them do.
Bridal Beer Olympics.
Thursday night when we got in,
I had put together Bridal Beer Olympics.
And so it was like each different,
we did beer darts, Dizzy Bat.
What was the other one?
Oh, I had these flamingos that you put on your head
and you had to put like a ring toss.
So like each stage was like meeting each other,
engagement, elopement, marriage.
Each stage was like the different phases of Bridal Beer Olympics.
And then, but the end was like this dizzy bat.
And the Dizzy Bat reminded me so much of college.
Have you ever played Dizzy Bat?
Yes.
We have to like, okay, so you get basically a kid's little baseball bat and you cut off the top, you have to pour a drink in there, chug it for however many seconds.
And however long, how many seconds it takes you is how many spins you have to do after.
So many seconds.
And then after your spins, you have to hit the can.
And so that was how it ended up.
But it was so much fun.
Like I felt like I was back at their sorority house all weekend long with so many girls.
See, we need weekends like that.
That's awesome.
Yeah, we do.
Wait, did you plan it then?
Are you made of honor?
So this one, I am one of three bridesmaids.
Okay.
I helped with some of the planning because there's only three of us.
So I helped the maid of honor with some things.
Not in this one, no.
But now I'm in another one that I'm another bridesmaid.
And my sister is I'm a maid of honor.
So you're, oh, you're two bridesmaids and one made of honor this year?
That's a lot.
Yeah.
I feel, uh, I feel tired.
Yeah.
Like I got back from this weekend and all I wanted to do was sleep.
I mean, yeah.
You're probably still catching up because.
Yeah, I'm sure it was.
And now I'm currently in Austin.
Not recording this, but once you guys hear this, I will be in Austin.
Oh, it's never ending.
It is never ending.
We did see, like, okay, so there was a part of this.
We saw a pod of dolphins.
There was five dolphins together.
Oh, my gosh.
And two of them were babies.
I mean, babies.
Like, the size of, like, from my torso to my head.
Like, these were baby dolphins.
They're so cute.
And they were so cute.
And I got burnt.
I got fried crisp like a tomato on the back.
I put sunscreen everywhere else and for whatever reason
neglected to ask somebody to put it on my back.
You mean someone like lunchbox didn't come up, this, P.F.
You know, honestly, that would have been a great reminder.
And I'm like, you know, I sure, why not?
Would you have said yes if a random dude came up?
You know, when I'm on vacation, vacation workin's different.
I'm just like, yeah, I don't do anything that's like bad.
But I'm just more susceptible to be like, yeah, I'll do whatever.
Because you're with friends.
Like, they think it's funny.
and it's just funny.
Exactly.
Like we were at the,
we were at the bar and drinking.
I just did more,
more inclined to say yes,
but it's more of it like,
oh, yes, I guess.
I'll do it.
And we did see a bar burn down.
An entire bar there is called fins,
two fins.
And as we were getting on our boat
to go out to Crab Island,
the entire bar was engulfed in flames.
Do they know what happened?
We were reading on the news
after.
Thankfully, nobody got hurt.
They were open for breakfast.
So, like, people were in there.
But as far as we knew on the news, that was reported, nobody got injured.
But, no, at the moment when we were looking at it, nobody knew what happened.
But it was engulfed in flames.
I cannot even imagine.
10 o'clock in the morning.
What in the world?
So our suspicions were that as, like, a grease fire of some kind.
Because our boat captain said it was by the kitchen area.
But crazy.
That's a crazy weekend.
Yeah.
So, that was fun.
Okay.
First bachelor's.
Yeah.
And my two other bacheloretts, I'm excited to get to go to because I've never been to those places before, Palm Springs in California.
Ooh.
And we're doing Joshua Tree and the aerial tramway and lots of brunch and karaoke and all things planned.
And then for the other one, we're going to Lake Huron in Michigan.
And I've never been to Michigan for the summer.
Oh, really excited.
That is going to be so cool.
Yeah.
So I'm excited for both of those, even though I'm like tired thinking about it.
Excited to just go see some new places.
Yeah, you do have a lot.
I've been to Palm Springs and I loved it.
I was only there like two days.
Did you go to Joshua Tree?
Mm-hmm.
And you love Joshua Tree?
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
I loved it.
Yeah, we stayed at like an Airbnb out in the middle of Joshua Tree, like out in the
middle of the desert.
And there was like a stargazing separate house and you go up in a ladder and you just
like sit at the top.
It was crazy.
That sounds so romantic.
It was the coolest thing.
It was my friend and I.
My girlfriend and I.
So it would be very romantic.
Friendship love.
Friendship love.
Yeah.
I was like, no, I was there.
And I was like, man, this is very romantic.
This would be fun to be with a guy.
But it was awesome.
That's so awesome.
Yeah.
Okay.
It was so hot.
We went in like August.
August, yeah.
It was, oh man, I didn't realize it was so hot there.
It's going to be hot when we go to it.
It's at the end of May.
So we are going to be primetime.
You'll be at pools.
What was cool, though, is like there's different hotel pools, but you can buy like a day pass.
It's only like $10.
Okay.
So we just went to a couple of different pools.
Our Airbnb does have a pool.
So I am excited about that.
Yeah.
And we are doing lots of hiking.
A lot of hiking.
You're doing hiking?
Yeah.
We're doing hiking?
Yeah.
Indian Canyon, which is near Palm Springs.
Yeah.
And do the aerial tramway and there's hiking and restaurants up there at the top.
But then we have Joshua Tree, like a full day at Joshua Tree too.
That's really cool.
That'll be so fun.
I want to go back.
Very exciting.
Yeah.
So those.
And yeah, I've never been to Michigan.
So I'm excited to see those.
And then my last one, obviously, besides, you know, there's a man in uniform existing
in my life, but he's there.
My garden and my grass looks so amazing right now.
and I'm taking in all things because it's only probably going to last like two more weeks.
You have been busy in that backyard.
Like that's, do you water it like every day?
I have little, so I don't have a sprinkler system and I can't convince myself to like pay for it because I guess it's really expensive to install it and everything.
Oh, yeah.
So I did find these things on Amazon that's like a hose but has a little sprinkler attachments.
So I have that all up in my garden and that goes off every morning.
Oh, that's good.
I have it on a timer.
Okay.
Because I can't remember.
I can't keep plants alive in my.
my house, same my life. So they will not survive if I am on the clock to water them.
What are the best things to plant? Like, aren't the perennials? Those are ones that come out every
year, right? Yes. I don't have to. I do not plant annuals. Okay. I only plant perennials,
which is what you're saying. Okay. That's what I need. My whole, the front, my whole front yard,
like my rose bush died. And they just took it out and now there's nothing. It's just mulch.
You should plant the one that I love. She is a sparkler. She is so pretty. It's a wine and roses
this plant.
Ooh.
And she is a perennial and she's green year-round.
And then in the fall, she even turns like red instead of the green that she is year-round.
Which I know that sounds.
I said that weird.
But then when she blooms, she has pink pretty flowers.
And they're on all.
And it's like a kind of like literally looks like a sparkler.
Like it kind of comes out like that.
Oh, I like those.
Okay.
So pretty.
So that could be where your rose bush was.
And they have thrived.
Now I don't know.
So all the ones I planted back there are really good for part sun and little, like, mostly shade.
Okay. Mine's like half. It's probably half in the sun. Okay. So you can do part sun. Okay.
Because that's what my whole backyard is. It hardly gets any sun. So I had to find like very specific things.
I know. That's what I've been looking up because I'm like, I don't want everything dies.
It does. And I will say even the perennials do end up dying at some point, depending on the harshness of winter that we get. And if people protect theirs and put things, I don't have that energy.
I don't.
They cover it.
They're like, I'm going to go cover the plants.
I'm like, oh.
Like my dad brings his inside to his garage.
He has like a little terrarium.
I'm like, this is a lot of effort.
That is.
That I don't have.
That's some dedication to the plants.
So much dedication.
And I'm like, I love that for you.
That is not my life.
I know.
So they do still end up dying depending on the harshness.
But they can last forever.
I've had plants that have been back there forever.
And my, I have hostas that survive every year.
Really?
They've done really good.
Like the last three, I think it's been three years.
And,
And then I have azaleas that have also done that have been there since I moved in that have done really good.
And my magnolia tree has grown like crazy.
Oh my gosh.
I planted her and she was like maybe six feet tall.
And now I think she's like almost 12.
Geez.
Yeah, they do grow really.
And they grow to be huge.
I know.
That's why I'm so excited.
I really love their blooms.
But their blooms last, they do it one day.
I'm not kidding you.
These magnolia flowers, they bloom one time.
And they last maybe one day.
What?
And then they fall off.
I'm like, that was really.
uneventful. Yeah, that's a lot for just one day.
Exactly. Hopefully you're home when it's there. And maybe a little bit longer than that,
but I'm not kidding you. It can't be more than 72 hours. Can't be. Oh my gosh.
Because they're so pretty. I know. But yeah, then they create a mess with their little bloom
things that fall off. Uh-huh. Oh, you've inspired me. I got to, I got to get on it because my,
it's just like nothing. Wine and roses. I think that's your plant. I think that's what you know.
Okay. I already like the name. I know, right? Yeah. Wine and roses. That is cool. I'll do that.
Yeah. If you need other help, I'll help. I have a little green thumb.
right now. I was like putting together little flower bouquets too. That's my favorite. Yes. Oh, I've been doing
that too at Trader Joe's. They have like pretty flowers. Trader Joe's is the best because you can
buy everything individually and put it however you want to. Oh my gosh. Have you seen like the,
it's like baby's breath but it's unicorn? No. Oh my gosh. I'm obsessed. It's like pastel colors.
Beautiful. Like it's my new favorite. Okay. It's like lavender. Maybe we need to do like a flower day.
We should. A flower day. And then we go rage for some day drinking. That's what you said you wanted to do.
Do a little bit above.
Let's do it.
Yeah, I love that.
Okay, perfect.
All right, we're going to take one more quick break.
We'll be right back.
There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield.
And in this new season of the girlfriends,
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe.

What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wadham. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was
based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right.
It wouldn't be that.
There's a lot in luck.

I doctored the test ones.

All right.
So adult life is kind of weird.
So I have adulting questions of just situations I've been in.
Okay.
Hopefully I can help.
Well, more so that you may have answers also, or maybe you have none.
Uh-huh.
But there are three different questions.
What is something you still do in your adult life that you don't think,
anyone else really is doing.
And I'll answer mine so that way you can give you some time to think.
But mine is balancing my checkbook.
I still balance my checkbook.
Oh my gosh.
What?
Yeah, I still write them down.
It's because I have caught a few times like discrepancies in my accounts where I'm like,
I didn't pay that because with tipping and the way that so many websites have my info,
even when I haven't saved it, is insane.
So like I still balance my checkbook.
At the very least, I'm at least going through and writing everything down to make sure I'm aware of what's going on in my account.
That is so impressive and organized.
It is, but I'm like, should I, is it even worth it anymore?
Like, I mean, I've maybe caught, that didn't scrub it.
Now I can't.
I said it one time and now I can't say it.
I maybe caught it twice in like the 10 years I've been doing this.
You know what I mean?
Uh-huh.
Like, it's few and far between.
I don't even know how to do it because everything's like online banking.
Mm-hmm.
So I don't even know how to balance a checkbook anymore.
Well, I keep all my receipts and then I write them down in my checkbook.
And then I double check them with what's online to make sure everything's like on the same page.
Oh my finances are a hot mess.
I rarely look at them, which is really bad.
I wouldn't even know if someone took.
Well, don't say that.
Don't say that.
I look every morning before it works.
Okay.
I'm going to look right now.
Yeah, you should.
Definitely after this airs.
Looks good.
Oh, gosh.
Come on.
So I don't know if I need to keep doing it, but I, you know, I'm here and I'm doing it.
If you know what you're doing and it makes you feel better about things, sure.
I don't know.
I don't know if it's just adding another freaking thing for me to do.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Why can you just look on mine?
Well, you can.
But you don't know 100% if it's actually.
Yeah, it's just basing it basically like I see the receipts of what actually got charged.
And then if I'm double checking to make sure online there isn't any discrepancy in what I was charged versus what it shows up on.
As online.
More power to you.
Something.
I think there's going to come a day where I'm like, I'm out.
I'm impressed.
It didn't make you think of anything for you that you still do?
You're like, nobody else probably does this.
Well, mine is I set about 10 alarms on my phone and then I ask Alexa to set like three alarms every morning.
Is your Alexa in your bedroom?
Yeah.
Uh-huh.
That's creepy.
Alexa be creepy.
I'm just saying Alexa be creepy.
She's probably watching you sleep.
That does freak me out a little bit.
She does just come out, come on there.
And she's like, the weather today.
And I'm like, what?
Where did you come from?
Setting on there?
No, no.
Oh, yeah, she like you.
I got a crush on you.
I actually really hate it.
And I also hate when she goes, good morning, Abby.
Have a wonderful day.
I'm like, shut up.
She talks to you?
Yes, yes.
You have to have features on there because mine never does this.
I'm pretty sure you need to change your settings.
Are there settings that say like, never talk to me ever?
Yeah.
I'm pretty sure mine's on silent.
It's excellent. The only reason I use it is I'm like, how is the traffic on the way to work today?
Okay. She'll be like it's good. What's the weather like? And my alarm. And then play music. So I use her for like four things. But she's saying, good morning. I watchin you sleep.
But anyway, the endless amount of alarms. Okay. That's fair. Because I just don't trust myself. I'm the same way.
Like 10? This is why my dad calls me and I get made fun of it. I have anxiety with this job of not sure.
up but I'm like, I can't, I can't not be here, so it is what it is. It is the anxiety. Yeah.
Trying to think what else. That's a good one. Yeah. You have other ones? No. That was the only one I had.
I have other questions, though. You ready for the other questions? Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. The alarm clocks.
Yeah, yeah. I do think you have more people on your team than you think. I think there's a lot of us that have lots of alarm clock.
Okay. You're not alone. In Alexa in the bedroom? That's weird. You're on your own. What do you still buy in store and refuse to do
any online or app version to buy it.
And the reason I'm bringing this up is because I see so many people use, like,
the grocery store, and I can't.
I have to buy my own groceries.
Oh, same.
I have trust issues.
Yeah.
How do I know they're going to get the avocado I wanted?
Exactly.
And they always do like, they're like, do you want to subsidia?
No, I wanted what I want on the list.
So why are, and it's kind of like, it's funny because the grocery store like app,
how they like pick them for you remind me of like my dad and mom growing up.
my mom would always write things on the list and my dad would come back with like a different
version of what she wrote on the list. Oh my gosh. That is not what I wanted. I literally had it
written out for you. And he's like, I didn't find it. And then we go the next time like I would go
with him the next time. I'm like, dad, it's right here. He's like, oh, that's what's happening.
Yeah. With the apps. It would. Yeah. Yeah, I just don't feel them. I don't either. I would never
do that. I can't. But people are like, it's so convenient. And I'm like, dang, that's awesome. You just
get pickup. That's great. I know. Here's me. Just.
do-to-do my little to-do list in the grocery store and everybody else has been really like convenient yeah
i have trust issues mine is closed i can't nothing fits me ever if i go try something on in the store it's
not going to look good so i know the odds of me buying it online and it fitting or just not gonna so have
you ever ordered anything online yeah but usually i have to send it back there's not a high success rate
right like there's vici right that's how you say yeah yeah that one all everything always does
fit. I feel like that's the only store that I've found that I know it's going to fit.
Well, that's good. I know. You do, you do kind of find your ones that work.
Just because sometimes they run too big or too small or so. You also love shopping in person though,
too, right? Like, you're a big, you love shopping. I'm not going to take that away. Yeah.
Like, if I can go to the store, I will go. I'm pretty sure there's been multiple times where I've
have messaged you and like, what do you have to? And you're like, shopping, just walking around
the mall. Uh-huh. I may go after work today. It's like it's your comfort. It is. It is.
take away your comfort but you know the good news is it's like that used to be my retail therapy and I
realize I'm going less lately so that's that's a good thing in my life well now you have a boyfriend
yeah somebody else help fill some time yes and now he knows that I have a shopping issue that's
does he go to the mall with you no we've never gone shopping together he hates shopping so I go not with
him but I have a lot of stuff in my house and he doesn't have much in his and he's just like oh my gosh
Abbey, but he's very tolerant of it, you know, like, he's just like, wow. You got a problem,
but I love you. I'm like, great. Is this a red flag? All of my closets are full. It's your beige flag,
yes. It is. I will say. We all have our beige flags. Yeah. And that's your perk. That I just have a lot
in my house. It's okay. You'll, I hold on to you are. You're very sentimental. All right. I'm
trying to work on that. Get rid of stuff. Declutter. That was the most I'm working on it. Like,
I'm not, but I am.
You know what's funny?
I'll share a shopping story with you.
That was really sweet.
I went shopping with man in uniform.
He wanted me to help pick him out some outfits.
And we did.
And it was funny, he walked out of the dressing room at one of the places we were at.
And one of the ladies sales associates went up and was like, okay, like, this looks really good.
And what do you think?
And he was the sweetest thing ever.
And I was so caught off guard because I was just chilling.
And I was letting her do her thing.
And he just kind of looks at me.
he goes, I don't know. I just do whatever she says. She's the opinion I want to hear. And I was like,
oh. Like very mean, not like mean to her. He was just like, I don't know whatever she says.
Then he trusts you. Yeah. I'm melted. Oh my gosh. That makes you feel really good. Yeah. I was like,
I was like, oh, that's really cute. It was cute. Okay. Shopping story. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mine doesn't
like to shop. And he just got a new house. And he's like, you can be the interior decorator. Oh, you love that.
Let's go.
Have you been decorating?
Not that much.
He's like, he's trying to get other things done first.
Like, I don't want to come on a little too strong.
You're like, I got this all mapped out.
Yeah.
I have it all ready to go, but I haven't actually like done it yet.
Also, it's expensive getting a new house, you know?
And I feel bad being like, how much you want to spend.
Yeah, you're like, I have all of this, but do you want to spend $3,000 on a couch?
Right, exactly.
He has all that stuff.
I just get to do the fun stuff, like the stuff on the walls in like the, the
accessory like plants and yeah all the accents rugs and yeah nice so working on that you should do before
and after photos your own little abby ht tv situation i know start my own little side gig my interior
we all have side hustles right like it can be your thing yeah okay last one what is something you still
don't understand and i say this because literally every time and people have explained this to me and
i still don't understand it when you slide a debit card and it asks you visa debit or u.s debit i have
no idea which one i'm supposed to select oh that what is it
I don't know.
And I know that I've been told before.
U.S. debit.
Wait, what are the options again?
Visa debit or U.S. debit.
What's U.S.?
Like United States?
I'm assuming visa means like international and U.S. means like in there.
But it's a debit card.
Just freaking slide it like a debit card.
I would have thought Visa was like the Visa brand.
It is.
Like American Express Visa.
It is.
But I don't know what it means.
Like why are you asking me which option?
I don't either.
I haven't seen that in a while because I usually do.
Credit card.
Credit?
Credit?
Yeah, I just like ship it up.
Okay, that's my one thing.
That's so good.
See, I don't know.
You don't understand.
Scuba just walked in and maybe he knows.
Scuba, do you know why?
When you slide a debit card, it asks you Visa debit or U.S. debit.
Someone told me this one time, and I forget what the answer is because my wife works in finance.
One of them requires your pin, and one of them is basically another way of saying credit card, so you don't need the pin.
But I forget which one's which.
I think it's Visa is the one you use your pin
and US is the one where it's like running out like credit.
Well, why would you want to run a debit card like credit card?
I don't know.
I thought I was like an,
I think it's like an antiquated thing that not everyone asks for anymore.
Like I don't see it as much as I used to.
I don't either, but every time I do it, it startles me and I'm like,
look, and I'm pretty sure every time I pick something different
because I never know what I'm doing.
In the beginning, I was like, I don't know if one to select.
And then one would ask for a pin and one wouldn't.
And after a while, kind of figured it out.
And then I asked my wife, she's like, yeah, it's like an old stupid thing
that no really does anything.
anymore, yeah.
Okay, well, Abby, give us something.
Like diners cards.
See, nobody knows.
Nobody knows what it is.
So I'm glad I'm not alone.
What is something you still don't understand?
Did it make you think of anything?
I don't understand why people still don't know how to drive.
Like, I don't understand.
It's a very broad statement, but I like it.
It really is.
You blend in.
But no one ever wants to.
I'm still trying to figure it out.
No, you're so right.
Any big city man, driving as an adult is not fun.
Well, I don't think Tennessee, you have to take a driver's test.
So you just get your ID.
That would be interesting.
Like Kansas, I remember I had to study.
Oh, yeah.
I had like, what, 25 hours?
I had to drive with some stranger in the car.
Well, I mean, that's to get your license.
But once you have it to renew it, I think you just have to, yeah.
You just have to, yeah.
Maybe you just all willy-nilly out here dressing everybody.
Yeah.
I don't understand.

If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know,
The cat, just hang in there.
