It is Morgan here with the best bits of the week. It's another fun weekend. We're doing something a little different instead of taking the best seven segments from the show this week.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I am taking the best seven segments from the show this week. am taking the best challenges from the last six months. We always do some really interesting things on the show, and I'm telling you, there's so many. There's one that I left off this list, and that's because I included it a few weeks ago when I did kind of the best moments on the show over the past six months, and that was when Ray ate the cicada. So nobody come at me that that is not on this list. It already got included on a best list. But these are the best challenges or moments that happened out of kind of a challenge of some sort.
Starting point is 00:03:25 And, yeah, it gets really interesting on our show sometimes. I'm also bringing Hillary back on with me for this one because we only talked a few times during the last one. So we're going to talk a few times during this one, again, because it's all random at this point. It really is. We get on one topic and then it just goes through all these other different topics. Exactly. So we're just talking about some fun things. We didn't talk as much.
Starting point is 00:03:44 I normally would talk to a guest on the last one. So we're doubling it up here so Hillary can hang out with me for another, for lack of a better term, best of challenge, you know? Yeah, I'm excited. All right. Well, let's get started. You guys can see the craziness. that has happened in the first half of 2021. Coming in at number seven, TikTok is all the craze right now.
Starting point is 00:04:04 And of course, this one was inspired by TikTok. Someone on the show had to eat watermelon with mustard. And I'm not pointing fingers, but it was me. I had to eat it. It was tasted awful. Not really. I really liked it. I just gave everything away.
Starting point is 00:04:16 It's fine. It was still a fun moment on the show because that I liked it, then other people on the show started trying it, despite them not getting picked by the stupid spinning wheel that we have. Yeah, it's a whole thing I'm still a little bitter that the spinning wheel keeps picking me but listen to this segment It's one of the food ones and it kind of takes a turn
Starting point is 00:04:35 Now I don't think any of us we're ready for Number seven There's a trend on TikTok Where if you put mustard on top of a watermelon It's supposedly really good and people haven't done this Right? They're like, you should do it. It's brand new. Here is the video. Watermelon and yellow mustard trust me on this
Starting point is 00:04:51 It is so good. Grab yourself a juicy watermelon Cut that baby up Juicy. Get yourself some French's yellow mustard. It has to be French's. Pour that sucker on and cheers. It's so tangy, it's so vinegory, and it matches so well with the watermelon's sweet, juiciness. Trust me, this is so good.
Starting point is 00:05:14 He's trying to sell it too much for me to believe it. French's got to be Frenches. So I have the wheel here. There it is. We'll spin it and there's a whole, you have to eat the whole piece over there. Oh, gosh. They're all cut into squares. You got to eat the whole piece.
Starting point is 00:05:27 whole square okay okay so if it lands on your name you lose that's it oh no if it lands on your name you eat the watermelon mustard hi here we go let's spin that wheel we're not like mustard come on keep going is it lands on us or land on oh no oh yes didn't she lose the other one too yeah and it ended up being good she said it's like a the durian yeah the world's stinkiest fruit yeah all right Morgan if you walk up to that microphone. Woohoo. He promised it was good in that clip.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Yes he did. And we got French's mustard. It has to be French's. Yeah. I have to eat all this right, one big piece. Oh, that looks disgusting. She's picking one up. I'll eat the big one.
Starting point is 00:06:14 There she is. Go for it. It's all the way in her mouth. It's juicy, like he said. She's chewing it. She's about to lay it down. Okay, it's really good. What?
Starting point is 00:06:29 Wow. Let me try it. Because to me, I didn't mind. Wait, but you didn't lose the spin. But this was the only one that I didn't mind if it landed on me and it didn't land on me. Yeah, it has a perfect mixture of like the tangy in the sweet. Like you said, like it goes really oddly well together. Maybe this guy's telling truth. He didn't sound that believable.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Okay. It's good, huh? Yeah, it's good. You got a lot of mustard on that one. You like it? It looks very good. Really? Oh!
Starting point is 00:06:55 Actually, I love mustard. And I like watermelon. It works, huh? Yeah. It tastes like it's sweet and salty and then it has like the kick of the little twang tang Teng. It's pretty good. I guess I'll try one a little bit.
Starting point is 00:07:09 See? Not everything's a lie. Yeah. All right. Tick-Tock. You're going to walk it around. Well, then, come on. Give me one.
Starting point is 00:07:15 I don't like mustard. I mean, I don't like mustard either, but I'm intrigued. Thank you. Guys. Go ahead. This is not bad. Yeah. Like, it's almost like you taste the mustard.
Starting point is 00:07:27 you're like, ooh, this is going to be too much. But then the watermelon just cancels that mustard out. It's delicious. I think Amy put a whole rind in her mouth, too. So I think we've all settled that is actually pretty good. Thoughts Amy? I feel like a restaurant could add that to like their appetizer menu and charge a lot of money and be like, this is this delicacy. All right, there we have it.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Okay. It wasn't that gross. It's pretty good. Let's play a song. Let's play a song. No, that's good, too. Instead of playing, it'd have been a crappy tasting thing. We'd play crappy song.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Yeah. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. This happened at the beginning of the year. Amy, scuba Steve, and lunchbox all tried to break the world record for how many nuggets they could eat, I think, in like a minute or a few minutes, something like that. But it was chicken nuggets competition nonetheless. Hillary, I want to know. I mean, this is kind of off, you know, eating nuggets. What is your favorite ever, like weird food combination?
Starting point is 00:08:26 I'm not a really like weird food person. I'm trying to think. I feel like last time I did talk about this and it was the crackers with ketchup on it. Yes, we did talk about that. So give me another one or maybe like just a really bomb food combination. Like do you like PB and J's? Some people don't like PB&Js. I don't like jelly.
Starting point is 00:08:47 See? I don't like jelly. I do like speaking of peanut butter. I like apples dipped in peanut butter. Those are yummy. That's a good sweet snack but healthy. Yeah, it is healthy, which I'm usually not healthy. eaters so that's what I have it's not really weird but it's like a it's a food combination so I do like
Starting point is 00:09:03 that I do love some bread dipped in oil if I go to an Italian restaurant yes like caraba's so good yes always down for that which by the way Olive Garden little food world sidebar here Olive Garden is doing unlimited dipping sauces which I never used to even order dipping sauce for the breadsticks before because I just like dip it in my Alfredo yeah but they have dipping sauces unlimited now. So we can go get Alfredo as the dipping sauce unlimited? Yes. Can we go? Yeah. I don't even know where the closest all of garden. Not close,
Starting point is 00:09:34 but it's like 25 minutes away, but fine, I'll go. I'll go. I love me some Alfredo. Right? I mean, that's a good food combination. There's some other good food combinations. Hmm, I do love dipping my bread and Alfredo. What are some other good ones? I know this isn't really weird and this is very like basic, but our favorite bread and butter
Starting point is 00:09:53 Texas Roadhouse? Texas Roadhouse. Yes. The cinnamon butter with their bread is so good. That is definitely one of my favorites for sure. So bread and butter. Cheese and crackers. I love, oh, me and you love a good shark. Cudery board.
Starting point is 00:10:11 I can't say that word. We love a good board with cheese and crackers. Some people call it a sharkooty board and then it's a little weird. Yeah, that's, yeah. But that's the shortcut name for it. But yes, cheese and crackers. I do get made fun of often for eating. that for dinner. Oh, I do that. I just go get like a block of cheese. Yes. Crackers and just sit there
Starting point is 00:10:31 and cut it. It's so good and so filling. It is. So cheese and crackers, what's some other good food combinations? Since we've already like discussed a weird food combinations, this is just normal, good old fashioned food combinations. Oh, I do love dipping, um, French fries in honey mustard or truffle aoli. Yes. I mean, French fries dipped in anything, honestly. Yeah. If you could give me like just a basket of fries and then like 10 dipping sauces? I would be happy. Great. I love that. I would be so happy. So yes, good one. French fries and things. French fries and a frosty. Oh, that's good. I know that's weird, but it's also a common. No, it's very common. I will say I prefer doing the Chick-fil-A waffle fry dipped in their ice cream because their ice cream tastes like
Starting point is 00:11:16 homemade ice cream. All right. You just went bougie on me. So good. You just went bougie on me. So good. Because Wendy's Frosty and their fries is like the OG combination. I know. And you just went boogey with Chick-fil-A. You have to go try it, though. If you have not tried a waffle fried dipped in Chick-fil-A's ice cream, so good. So, so, so good. I mean, I will say, like, even if I go to, like, an old-school diner and they have, like, milkshake, I'll dip my fries and milkshake there, too.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Yeah. I think just ice cream and fries is, like, a natural combination. It's just a good combination. Sweet and salty. Yeah, I guess it's sweet and salty with B. M&Ms on popcorn. That's a good one. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:11:52 It melts in your mouth. I feel like chocolate-covered pretzels or chocolate-and-covered strawberries. Everything covered in chocolate's good. Good food combinations. Yeah. That's about all I can think of right now. I know.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Okay, well, what about what are your top three favorite chain restaurants? Chick-fil-A. Of course. For sure. Outback, it just reminds me a lot. We go there every single birthday growing up. I was not ready for that one to be on your list. Really?
Starting point is 00:12:20 I just was not expecting that at all. We've literally, we've gone to so many chain restaurants together because We've tried, we've been trying to do this thing where we do a chain restaurant a week. Because in Nashville, we've really hit all the local spots. We've gotten really good at that, that we go and try new places all the time. But like being from Kansas, like in Wichita, Kansas, like there really wasn't, there is now. They've gotten really awesome. But there wasn't growing up local spots.
Starting point is 00:12:46 It was all chains. And so I love chain restaurants. But in Nashville, they're not in the city because there's so many good local restaurants. So Hillary, I and our kind of girl. friend group have made this pact to try and go to a chain restaurant, like, once a week is what our idea was. I mean, did good for a little bit, but then, you know, life happens. Yeah, we didn't. But out of none of those times, though, we've talked about going to a chain restaurant, have you
Starting point is 00:13:10 ever mentioned Outback? I don't know. I don't know why I haven't because I love Outback. It's just where we would always go. Like, as a family, that was our, like, if we were going to get dressed up and go eat, that was like our fancy restaurant was Outback. That was fancy for us. I just was not ready for that. I don't hate it. I mean, they have the blooming onion.
Starting point is 00:13:30 That's the OG blooming onion. Alice Springs chicken with no mushrooms and a loaded baked potato with no chives. Yeah, you don't like mushrooms either. I do not. No. No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Can't do it. So, yeah, that. I don't know you didn't know. I liked it outback. And then Carrabas. Carabas. Over Olive Garden? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:47 I love the, I feel like because I love getting chicken Alfredo. And I like their chicken better than all of Garden's chicken. And then I think I do like their bread and oil situation better than breadsticks. Yes. You know what I think happened? One time I ate way too many breadsticks and I just felt like, I don't know, I'm tired of them now. You just went boozy on me again. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Got to go Carrabba's. Okay, those are all good though. I can't hate on them, even though I'm not a huge fan of Chick-fil-A. I can't hate on any of them because they're all solid. Yeah, they're popular. I feel like a lot of people like them. I feel like, I would say maybe any city you go to you could find. one of those.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Oh yeah, for sure. Yeah. For sure. Very popular. Yeah. What about you? I'm thinking. I'm really thrown that you had it out back.
Starting point is 00:14:36 I just really don't know how to handle it. I'm going to go for you. Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, and the Cheesecake Factory. Close. Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse are on there. And then Taco Bell. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:14:50 How could I forget Taco Bell? I would like my brain was not even there. I feel like such an idiot. for not saying Taco Girl for you. Wow. Oh my gosh. I mean, I feel like an idiot that I didn't know Outback Statehouse and I can't let it go. I don't know. I don't know what to say about that. You literally never discussed that with me once in our friendship. I feel so offended. Okay, we're going to have to go. We're going to have to go to Outback now. I'm a big fan about that. I know. Or the fact that you would choose Caravas over Olive Garden. Like, I'm just sitting here shocked right now.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Like our whole friendship is a lie. Are you like questioning our friendship now? I'm not questioning it, but it's all been a lie. You don't know anything anymore, Hillary? You don't, are you just not a Carrabis fan? No, I like Carrabba. I love Carrabas. Oh, okay. But I just didn't, I wasn't ready. Like, Chick-fil-A, I knew.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Yeah. But honestly, like, if I was adding a different restaurant, I have local restaurants that I know you love. Like, burger up in Nashville. Yeah, you know all my, like, all my local places. But I just was not prepared for Outback or Carabas. Yeah. Those are, like, not on my list for you.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Just trying to throw you off there. Meanwhile, you named two of mine. It's fine. I'm still kicking myself. I didn't get talk. I could have totally nailed Morgan's three. They talk about Taco Bell all the time. I'm so mad at myself.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Well, and partially too, like, just being me, that is literally my favorite topic to talk about is food. So I'm not surprised if anybody knows my favorite places because I just love talking about food. Yeah, that's true. You're a foodie. I am. A foodie of Taco Bell in Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden. Those are good places, though.
Starting point is 00:16:19 They are, but like, you're typically a foodie if you, like, go eat local and stuff, which I do all the time. I do. I do. Like, I'm definitely a foodie of chain restaurants. Morgan finds all these random places and she's like, hey, do you want to go there? I'm like, what is that? And so I have to look up the menu.
Starting point is 00:16:33 I'm like, I don't know if I want to go there. But I always do. I'll find something that I like there. Something I found on Instagram. I don't know. Or I'll walk by and I'll be like, that looks cool. Yes, that is Morgan. Like, she finds the most random places.
Starting point is 00:16:44 But they always end up really good. So she does a good job. I just put all my friends through the ringer to try all the places with me. It's really what happens. Yes. Oh, man. Okay. Well, that was fun. He learned a lot about it.
Starting point is 00:16:57 He learned a lot about me. That's fine. Okay, well, if you missed this segment earlier in the year, you can listen back to see who got the closest to beating the world record for eating chicken nuggets. Number six. The competitors are moving to their table now. Who's eating? Me! Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:17:15 Oh, Scoobo Steve is eating? I'm eating as well, yes. And Amy is eating. I don't really feel a part of the competition. Why? I don't know, because I'm over here. I think Scooby just kind of socialish. You want to sit in that chair? I can sit here on my knee.
Starting point is 00:17:27 No, no. It's okay. I just, you know, you have to have that competitive. Why is what I'm saying? You want to be up here with the men. Let's go. I don't want to get too close to you. It's cool. Scoob and Lunchbox are sitting on the stage with the table. That chair's high. You can watch on our Facebook page, Facebook.com, slash Bobby Bone Show. There is a Guinness World Record holder. She in 60 seconds ate 16 nuggets. She? She, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:49 By the way. And so I told the show. Oh, these are bigger than I remember. But it's what she had. This was the exact ones in the video, too. 100%. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:17:57 I mean, I just don't know that I've ever ordered them. So, when you're finished with a nugget, I need you to go, finish, ah, open your mouth, go to the next nugget. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That's going to take so much time. It'll take a split second. Finish. That's it. You just have to open your mouth so we know what you ate the nugget.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Yeah. We have one minute. If you have your ninth nugget, you get $10, Amy, for every nugget after eight. Okay. The guys get $10 for every nugget after 10. Okay. Man, making special rules. Come on, let's go. You guys ready to go.
Starting point is 00:18:27 We have one minute starting in five. Lunchbox, do not eat it early. I'm just looking at. Four. Just getting that taste. Three. Go. All right, one minute's on the clock.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Scoob is chewing. Oh, he's one down. Oh, scuba, wow. Scoob's got the water. Amy's eating about a third of one nugget. Two nuggets down for scuba. It sounds like a dog eating food. You're at 40 seconds left, guys.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Watch how many nuggets do you had? One. Three. Scoobas got three down. Amy, where are you? Still on the first one? Oh, boy. They're hard to swallow.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Amy's choking. Four. You're disgusting. This sounds so gross. There's a lot happening in these nuggets. You can actually chew off microphone, guys. Yeah, please. Please.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Thank you. 15 seconds. Five, dude. Eight, seven, six, six, four, three, two, and there it is. Oh, man, I'm a little. That's much harder than you think. Everybody stopped. Let's go to Scova Who Led.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Yeah. In 60 seconds, you got how many? It was six and a half. Six and a half nuggets. That's pretty impressive. Lunchbox? Three. Amy?
Starting point is 00:19:54 One and a half. Man, let me tell him. Like. There's way more to those nuggets than I thought. Yeah, I tried her strategy because I watched the video, and it seemed like she took a bite and swallowed, so she only took two bites per nugget, but I tried to bite it and swallow it,
Starting point is 00:20:11 and it'd get stuck in my throat. It's tough because the breading, it's hard to really swallow because of that. Yeah, but she was good, like, she would just, whir-h. It's good, but you're pretty good at eating. Thank you. I appreciate it. I'm a buffet champion kind of guy. Have you ever done any sort of competitive eating contest?
Starting point is 00:20:26 No, I just grew up in a house of four kids, so you had to eat as fast as you could to get more food. So I think it's just in me to eat fast. Oh, don't. You only had three nuggets. You only ate three nuggets. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I ate three more, you suckers. So, scuba, as far as her eating 16 in 60 seconds?
Starting point is 00:20:48 Very impressive. Harder than you thought? Much harder than I thought. I thought, for sure, I could at least get down 10. And I'm pretty satisfied with six and a half, but, but yeah, that's a pretty impressive 16 and a minute. All right, tomorrow we'll run it back. Try it again.
Starting point is 00:21:01 None of us got any money. That's true. The only winner here was me. Got a bit? Got a good bit out of it and got to pay no cash. Dang it. All right, we'll set the table back up and get all the nuggets out of here. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:21:20 C-Forth and the raging idiots kind of have similar looks with the hat and the glasses and they kind of, you know, fought it out in the game of chance. Well, three games of chance. see who could keep the look and things ended up a little bit better than you know somebody having to get rid of their iconic look so listen to this it was kind of a really fun moment and a challenge nonetheless for both of them number five on the bobby bone show now see forth all right these two guys are here good to see you guys again good we're actually gambling their hat and glasses if they lose and if they win they get to perform on the show and not only that i don't know if they
Starting point is 00:21:56 told you, but if you win, you also will be our featured artists on our national countdown show. No way. That's crazy. But that's only if you win. That's only if you win. All right. So take it easy.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Half excitement. They introduce yourselves. I'm Tom. My name's Mitchell. So Tom wears the hat like Eddie wears. And we have a band called The Raging Idiots. Mitchell wears the glasses like I do. And you guys, we've obviously been your inspiration for years.
Starting point is 00:22:22 And we're putting it on the line today. Come on. We're tired of them ripping us off. Although they're way more talented than us, although they're everything more than us. But they look just like us. Just like it. Which is not cool. We were getting away with it until we moved to it.
Starting point is 00:22:33 You know, in Australia, well, we should have stayed here. So what we're going to do first is we're going to go up, and there are 12 eggs. 11 of them are hard-boiled. One of them is just a raw egg with a yolk in that's going to go all over us. We'll grab an egg, smash it against our head. Hopefully it's hard-boiled. All right. But the person that gets the yolk, the full normal egg loses.
Starting point is 00:22:50 That's the loser. That's round one. Are we ready? Ready? Let's walk up to the table. Hey, Ramondo. Will you play a clip of Seaforth for our audience, please? And tell us what song you're going to play here.
Starting point is 00:22:59 This is close enough. They're playing close enough right now. And I can feel America viving hard right now with this. There it is. Damn it. Yeah. Okay. So we're now standing at a table.
Starting point is 00:23:12 The egg number 12 is brown. That's a trick egg. And all the other ones are white. They're all numbered. So you guys can pick. Would you like us to go first? I'd love to see you guys go first. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:24 I'll go first. I'm going to pick Number three That's brave That's brave Gee, that's brave So you're just gonna Take your glasses off
Starting point is 00:23:37 Yeah, no, no, just go Hey! Hard boil Nice, I mean, I shouldn't be clapping I survive again All right, I'll get glasses and glasses All right, Mitchell, go ahead Failing, this is going to be terrible, nine
Starting point is 00:23:52 Nine, here we go. We have to lose out. We have another round of a different game. We really go. I'm going to get it first egg is going to be at. I can't believe it was a friend, Danny. Wow, okay, that happened fast. Wow.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Incredible, dude. He threw his glasses across the room. I thought that was it. I was ready to give out. All over his head. Back to Australia. Okay. All right. That's so funny, dude. Steve, everybody good?
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah, we're good. All right. We have now Mo. over to the basketball court that we have set up in the studio. This is a Fisher Price Little Tykes goal. Amy, how tall would you say that goal is? About three feet. Okay, so it's a three feet goal. We have these little small rubber balls and each team gets seven shots.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Okay? So, uh, see fourth. We'll go first. You'll shoot your seven. We'll see if we can beat it. You can, you can pick who shoots and how you shoot. Doesn't matter. Any, any order. Seven shots. Here we go. Shot number one. In the net. Oh, so close. Number one is a miss. Should we just go one for one? All right, Mitchell, you're up.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Should be throwing the eggs. Shot number two is a miss. Air ball. Not even close. All right. All right, Tom. Pressure's on. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Shot number three. Oh, switch. Let's go. Athlete. Okay. Oh, it's one for four. They meant to go right in there. Hey, Mitchell, you didn't hit the rim, though, that time.
Starting point is 00:25:32 No, no, no. Rim Kardashian? One for four. Seaforth is shooting their fifth. ball now of seven. Oh, that was like in and then out. One for five. Eddie, giving them a ball. Why are you making it a chase to ball?
Starting point is 00:25:48 It's warm. Here we go, the sixth shot. You do it, do underarm. Oh, one for six. Gosh, this is not looking. Here we go. And two for seven. Now, I'm going to let Eddie shoot all of ours.
Starting point is 00:26:06 There you go. That's easy, huh? Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. Eddie. They went two for seven. Eddie, you can do this to your eyes closed. You need three to win. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Eddie, shooting his first shot. Let's get one on the board early. Here we go, shoots. Come on! That was nothing but net. One. I'm shocked right now. Eddie with one.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Big shot. Oh! Eddie, go ice closed just to rub it in. He's a sniper. Eyes closed. Eyes closed. No, no. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Any third shot? Up. Oh. Hey, do Steph Curry shoot it and turn your back. Okay. Okay. Two for three. One more for the win.
Starting point is 00:26:52 There we go. Bobby's got hit. He hits it. Oh, I did it. Yeah. We could not have lost evil brood. Okay. He could not have destroyed.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Yeah. So, now what? They're going to, they have to forfeit their hat and glasses for a year. All right. They have to elute. Oh, my God. They stole our look. Can't see.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Now, are those glasses? Do we have a fire pit? We can... No, we're just... I'm going to keep them on my desk so the listeners can always see them. That's okay. Yeah. So, um, are those prescription glasses?
Starting point is 00:27:26 Oh, yeah. Oh, you can... I'm blind. But you have glasses, though, that aren't dark ground, I'm assuming. No. This is the one. That's it. That's all he's got.
Starting point is 00:27:34 This is it for me. Seaforth is in studio. It's going to be a struggle of a week. Yeah. You didn't have your best performance today, Mitch. I'll be honest. No, it was terrible. The egg first go, didn't hit a basket.
Starting point is 00:27:45 I'm terrible. Yeah. So I'll be, you can go and put your glasses right up here on the desk. There they are. Here it. Wait, wait, Bones, are we keeping the glasses? Yes, for a year. And the hat?
Starting point is 00:27:56 Can I have the hat too? Yeah, come on, Tom. Put it up here. He can't see the desk. He can't see the desk. Yeah. Nice. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:04 He's taking his hat off. Nice. We have them both. Eddie? Yeah. How do I look? Hey. I mean, it looks the same.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Look pretty good. Well, boys, it's been fun. Thanks. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. There we go. Appreciate you guys. We will. I'm being told here, we have a little time,
Starting point is 00:28:24 so we're still going to let you play coming up in the next segment. That's very common. And in proper, being the nice guy, and I'm going to let you wear your hat and glasses for your final performance. Wow. You too good.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Right here on stage. Yeah, that's right. They can do it. Coming back. I've never been so happy. We're going to hear Seaforth perform live on the show. This is like the Rolling Stones final tour. No, this is huge.
Starting point is 00:28:46 If you don't get to see them before they all die, you don't get to see them ever. This will be the last time Seaport ever wears their glasses and hat. On the Bobby Bones show now. They lost the game, but you know what? If I'm anything, I'm a giver. They brought their guitars in case. We're still going to let them play. Seat fourth is here.
Starting point is 00:29:08 They're now sitting up on the stage. What does Seaforth mean? So Seaforth is actually the suburb that we grew up in Sydney, Australia. So we know each other since we're three years old. We went to Seaforth kindergarten as well. So we thought we'd take a little piece of home with us. When did you two start doing music together in Australia? About six, seven years ago.
Starting point is 00:29:26 What's the Australian country music scene like? It's good. Like there's a lot of it, man. It's a very, there's a lot of amazing artists and stuff. It's just not as kind of, I guess, broad as it is here. And Nashville and everything became a very real dream pretty quickly. for us, you know, and so we just figured why not, you know. Did you guys have a moderate amount of success in Australia as a country act?
Starting point is 00:29:48 Or did you go, we're just going to go take it all on in America? Honestly, yeah, not really at all. We kind of had our site set on the U.S. and Nashville from the beginning. So we started making trips out quite early when we started the project and kind of had our site set to come out here where the home country music is, yeah. Seaforth is in studio. And by the way, Mitch, are you eligible for LASIC eye surgery since you can't wear your glasses?
Starting point is 00:30:07 I was thinking about it, so maybe I might have to do that. C-4th is here. They're going to play. By the way, what are you going to play before? We're going to play a new song called Breakups. Well, you can listen to them. I've actually never heard them play live before. So if they suck, I'm sorry. If we suck, it's going to have eggs.
Starting point is 00:30:23 We have other eggs. We can throw at you. You can follow them. We are Seaforth, and here they are playing their new song called Breakups. Thank you, guys. Two, seven, nine. You're the only one. in the world I want to talk to right now The only one to pick me up on a night like this And I know
Starting point is 00:31:00 You'll be the first thing on my mind in the morning Sober or drunk, you're the one that I just miss I said I wouldn't call We said we wouldn't talk at all It always ends bad But I'm looking at my phone And if you're not alone I don't think I could take
Starting point is 00:31:26 that because I'm drunk at a bar at 2 a.m. And I just want to talk to my best friend. I said I wouldn't call. We said we wouldn't talk at all. But right now. All I want to do is hear your voice. Pretend it doesn't hurt like hell. Drink some wine and talk about the past and I go ten steps back.
Starting point is 00:31:51 But breakups don't work like that. come on look at these guys thank you very much that's really good guys thanks man oh look at you guys awesome
Starting point is 00:32:03 holy crap thank you well well and now I feel bad taking their hat and glasses they're so good that I want to steal their look too bad though we gotta take it back
Starting point is 00:32:13 well here's here's the deal I'll make oh okay because you guys are exceptionally talented thank you very much I expect you should be good I mean you're signed to a big label
Starting point is 00:32:23 but that was better than I was that was premiere. Thank you. That's really like probably the first or second time we really probably played that song as well. So,
Starting point is 00:32:33 okay, well here's never do it again. Only here. That's the only performance ever. Wow, that's, by the way, these two guys are Seaforth. You know what's interesting about you two
Starting point is 00:32:41 is that you both sing a lead in the song. Yeah. Yeah. Mostly that's not the case. Right. With duos or trios. Right. Do you, is there,
Starting point is 00:32:50 how do you decide who sings what? It's usually a fight. Nice. Basketball. Basketball. It's definitely not basketball or egg smashing. Or golf. Or golf.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Well, I'm impressed. You guys, you guys cover anything? You guys do any, any cool covers? Sure. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:07 I mean, I'm inclined to ask him for another song. Let's do it. All right. What can you give us in the cover world? That's pretty new. Capos in that room in there.
Starting point is 00:33:15 We'll do. But, yeah. Chasing you, Morgan Wall? Yeah, we've been messing around with this Morgan Wallin' song a bit lately. He's an up-and-coming country artists. That's really.
Starting point is 00:33:23 I've heard of them. Just kidding. He's the best, man. Here they are doing chasing you from Morgan Wallen. This is Seaforth. Used to chase that Chattanooga fray. A couple of kids in a Chevrolet. Catch a little air with me cross the tracks. Sipping all something from a paper sack.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Hanging shirt on the Maple Leaf. Slipping through the moon to the river bend. Wasn't very long. I was jumping in. Jumping in. I guess I'm still doing now. What I was doing then. Chasing you Like a shot of whiskey
Starting point is 00:34:08 I'm chasing you Like those goodbye Tail lights Headed west to anywhere Out of this nowhere town Chasing that freedom chasing that feeling That got gone too soon
Starting point is 00:34:28 chasing that you and me I only see in my review Yeah I'm laying here tonight Holding someone No, still chasing you, still chasing you, still chasing you, still chasing you. Still chasing you. There it is. Hey, hey, happy, basketball.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Come on. And they're so good. Thank you. So good. It's not even a bit anymore. I don't want to take their glasses. We're so sorry. Thank you guys.
Starting point is 00:35:02 We should have never questioned you. So we're ending it like this. Okay. You will deliver. us a hat. Dale. And on that hat, you will write, we stole your look,
Starting point is 00:35:13 signed C-Ford. I love it. You will deliver us a pair of glasses. Yep. And somehow that will say the same. There they are, C-Forth. Follow them. We are C-Forth on Instagram, Twitter.
Starting point is 00:35:26 Great to meet you guys. Thank you guys for having us. Great to meet you. Great sports. You're terrible at eggs, terrible at basketball. But you're great at music, so don't quit. All right, there they are. See you guys later.
Starting point is 00:35:37 It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. This segment went on for a few days because someone on the show, out of all of the guys putting their names in a hat, had to carry a woman's purse for a week so they could see what it was like for all of us to carry a purse. And let me tell you, it's pretty funny because none of them wanted to do it, but the one who ended up having to do it was like, hey, I kind of like this. I may wear a purse more often.
Starting point is 00:36:05 So, you know, you never know until you try something. Number four. So I love Harry Styles. He's carrying a purse around. That's cool. Think about if it wasn't assigned to a certain sex. We carry a big bag around, nobody would judge us. I'd think you guys have an advantage.
Starting point is 00:36:21 A purse? Carry so much more than a wallet. What would you carry in the purse that you're not able to carry in a wallet? Oh, boy, every day. My pistol? Yeah, okay. No, really. Like what?
Starting point is 00:36:33 You now get to leave the house with more. more things. So what do you put in there? Food? Maybe a snack, an extra pair of underwear. You never know when that's going to be needed. That's good. Your keys, so you don't have to put up. They're all clunky in my pocket cutting into my leg. Ooh, gum?
Starting point is 00:36:48 I'll carry gum all the time. How many doors are you opening? I also working as janitor open school. Okay. No, I'm just saying, I don't even know the options that are given to me yet. Right. And everybody's like, look at Harry Styles carrying a purse. And I'm like, look at Harry Styles carrying a purse.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Normalizing it, hopefully. He also paints his nails like Eddie. Yeah, see? I tried Guy Pearls for a while. He does that, yeah. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna draw a name and one of you guys gets to be Harry Styles for a week and carry around a purse all week.
Starting point is 00:37:17 No, you can keep your wallet in the purse, but it can't come out of the purse. Okay. All right, let's draw the names here. Oh, gosh. And like when you go places, you have to put your purse up. If there is a picture of you taken somewhere and you don't have your purse with you,
Starting point is 00:37:29 it's a $100 fine. Now you're giving the listeners of all. It's a $100 fine. So listeners, be cool about it. No, they won't be. So I'm going to draw. When I draw, your name is eliminated. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:41 What this person? It is ugly. You can't get us a coach or anything? I mean, I could supply you all with a different purse if you want. I need a Louie, man. Yeah, Harry Styles doesn't got that purse. He ain't got no plunder. This is like Aunt Roses.
Starting point is 00:37:58 I know. All right, we're ready. The first name, because there are a few guy names in here. It's me Eddie lunchbox Raymundo or audio producer Mike D and Scoobes Steve Who will do the Harry Style challenge and have to carry this purse from Tuesday to Tuesday? The first name eliminated that doesn't have to carry the purse is go yeah Eddie Yeah to be kidding me how does this happen? Well, it just does it just does
Starting point is 00:38:24 It just does you want to give me sign it Eddie? No, we're good Next up They're all tangled That's me eliminated Raymondo. See, you. Lunch bugs. It's going to be lunchbox again.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Stop thinking that it's going to be you. No, I don't, but every name that comes out, there's something like a magnet. Why do you always win these? You don't win games, but you win these. No, because this has nothing to do with music. That's why I can't win. I win these. You have to give it luck.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Next person that doesn't have to carry the purse is. Who is Steve? That's me. That's a long name. Bobby. Amy, you can draw the last ones. There are, how many names left? It's me, Mike Dian, and Scover the bag carrier.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Come on. Okay, go ahead. Amy. The next person who doesn't have to have your period. We've been friends for some. What's mine? Yeah! Amy's my girl!
Starting point is 00:39:25 Amy's my girl! Woo! Love you, Amy! Yeah, y, yin, yeah! Okay, the next person we draw has to carry the purse, okay? Oh, wow. Just so it's known. The next name we draw, we'll be carrying the purse. for a week in the Harry Styles Challenge. Amy, don't open it yet. Oh, that's the winner.
Starting point is 00:39:43 On the count of three, we'll say it. One, two, three, Mike D. Ah! Yeah! Wanna milk sugar, hi! Want to know the sugar high. Wanted another sugar high. Hey Mike D, will you go on the microphone? Let me ask you a question. Yeah. So, this person is like 10 years old too. It is like tan. No, Ivan's older. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:12 It's older than 10 years old? Well, I don't know. Well, so Mike D. You're gonna carry the purse around for a week. Mike D is our writer and he writes a lot of games. But I would even venture to say you wrote this segment. I did and I'm kind of regretting it. I thought it'd be funny at the time and I was like, what are the chances I'd get picked for this?
Starting point is 00:40:28 And here we go. It's just funny when his own sword. He made his own sword. And then he has to, he gets cut by it. Yes. Okay, Mike. Okay. Here you go. Here's your purse. All right.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Question, question. Can he buy his way out? I don't think so. Okay. I think he just lives with it. He's got to carry it every day for a week. We're going to give it to him now. Here you go, buddy.
Starting point is 00:40:49 We better not see you with anything but that purse. Look at your shoulder there. And when you walk, it's got to be on your shoulder, right? Oh, my gosh. That looks so hard. Oh, that's cute, Mike. It is good, yeah. Are you going to do that one or the black one?
Starting point is 00:41:03 Yeah, matches your style. Yeah, he's more. No, I think you got to wear the tan because it sticks out more. Yeah, I know that. Tan, tan, tan, tan, tan. Tant, tan, tan. It honestly, I can... He's pulling it off a little bit.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Yeah, he just... He's all challenge. Okay. Yeah, he's pulling it off in the studio as we're all laughing at him. Uh, congratulations, Mike D. It's the best bits of the week. With Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Everybody loves when we do some blind karaoke, so it made a comeback this year. Amy, Eddie, and Lunchbox all participated in another round of blind karaoke. What is your go-to karaoke songs? So I have a confession. I have never done karaoke before. Never, ever?
Starting point is 00:41:47 No. The one time I was supposed to go to a karaoke place, I fell asleep on your couch. Oh, yeah, we were going to go to Santa's pub. Y'all didn't even go. You know, if somebody forgot their ID, we couldn't even go. I still haven't been to that bar. I woke up, I fell asleep, I woke up, they're already back,
Starting point is 00:42:02 and I'm like, what happened? And they said, somebody didn't bring their ID, we couldn't go in. So I have never done karaoke ever. I actually did own a karaoke machine growing up. Okay, so you sing on a karaoke machine. Yes. But if I had to choose, if we were going to go do karaoke, which again, I'm very shy, so I don't know if I could do this, but I would have to go with Miranda Lambert, gumpowder, and lead.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Oh, great choice. Sassy. Not a lot of high vocals. I feel like I could do it. I feel like I could sing it a little bit. Yeah, so that's what I'm going with. That was always one of my song choices for karaoke because of the fact it did not have high songs. Well, you kind of sing it and still be a decent singer.
Starting point is 00:42:38 if you suck. And it's one of those songs everybody's going to be so into so it doesn't matter if you don't nail it or not. Yes. Like if you do some slow ballad, everybody's paying attention to you.
Starting point is 00:42:48 But if you go like super fun, nobody's going to know. I am just so shocked you never got to sing care. We have to make that happen. Can I not do it by myself? Yeah, no. Okay, yeah, somebody used to come up there with me. We'll go do it.
Starting point is 00:43:01 I've had many versions in my life. So growing up, my parents love to go on cruises. That was like our vacation we did for spring break. we would go on a cruise. And this was back when I thought I would be a singer as I got older. So my poor parents,
Starting point is 00:43:16 every time we went on these cruise ships, they have these like, telling competitions. Oh, my gosh. Did you do all? Oh, I would sing in them. Did you ever win? Oh, there are pictures of me like on these stages. No, I never won.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Again, when I performed on the show, we all know I'm not great. I'm not awful. Like, I can keep a tune, but I'm not great. I would have never pursued being an artist had I actually been able to hear myself. but I didn't, you know, blind hearing when you're a kid. So I sang karaoke on these cruise ships and whatever. I was also like, if you've ever been on a cruise, have you ever been on one?
Starting point is 00:43:49 Yes, I've been on one. They do like these crazy participation things from the crowd. That's the whole point of like the cruises. They get you involved. And so every time there would be an option to participate, I would participate in them. Whether it was doing some crazy like challenge that they put up against other passengers on the thing or a singing competition or a rock climbing. Like, if there was a competition on a cruise ship, I was doing it.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Morgan was going to do it. I'm not surprised. I don't know why. I just like doing weird, fun things, putting myself out there. Yeah. Even though I'm also awkwardly very embarrassed a lot of the time if I don't do well, which is a very weird combination. But you'll still try it.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Yeah. It just now. A lot of adventures on those quizzes that I went on that I do not want to relive, but there are photos of almost all of them. Oh, I'm going to have to text your parents. Oh, they're on my Facebook page. Oh, okay. I'm going to go deep dive on Morgan's Facebook page and find these.
Starting point is 00:44:36 You're going to see a lot of those. you're like, well, Morgan, what in the world? Anyways, I just gave away one of my secrets. I need to go delete those right now. But then in college, we had a bar that did karaoke, and we would get drunk, and all of the girls and our sorority would go and see karaoke together and bless all the people in that bar because it was awful.
Starting point is 00:44:56 What song would you sing? Shania Twain, a lot of Shania Twain. That one would be fun. Yes, like any Shania Twain off of the Come On Over album, we probably sing. Don't Stop Believe in by Journey. was a popular one. That's a long song.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Oh yeah, but it was always a hit. Yeah, it's a fun one. Even though we sounded terrible. It's okay. And those were the ones that I remember. Hmm. And then as an adult, I did it at this random bar that's still on the corner near Broadway and 2nd Avenue.
Starting point is 00:45:25 That's like a bull rider on it, but I sing karaoke in that bar. One of my first times I moved to Nashville and I don't even remember what I sang. What would you pick now if we, if you would have made it to Santa's Pub that night, what would you have sang? Well, I would not have singing alone. I have learned that very quickly. That is not my spotlight. I can't do it either.
Starting point is 00:45:45 You could. You have a great voice. Oh, I don't. You do. I do have something to share. I don't think I've ever shared before. Oh, what? You may know this, but I don't think I've ever publicly shared because I was always scared to
Starting point is 00:45:53 after you had to sing on the show. Please tell me. Did you know I took singing lessons as a kid? I did know that. Yeah, I've never publicly shared that. And so I had to do, I ended up doing two recitals. where I had to sing by myself. And my singing teacher ended up, I did it for, I don't know if it was a year or how long it was,
Starting point is 00:46:15 but she had to stop doing singing and only did piano because she was, the real reason was she was having a baby. My sisters told me that it was because I was so bad that she stopped doing singing lessons. Oh, no. Because of me. They discouraged you. Yeah. So, yeah, that's probably why I don't want to sing karaoke by myself. Freaking older sisters, man, I swear.
Starting point is 00:46:40 All their sisters are the first ever trolls. Oh my gosh. Yes. They are. I have stories after stories. They trolled before trolling was a thing. They did. They crushed and killed my dreams.
Starting point is 00:46:51 And because I always thought to, I loved singing. Like my mom and dad got me a karaoke machine. I would sing at home all the time. And so then my mom, she found this lady to do singing lessons with. And I did my little recitals. And yeah. But then my sister shot that down really quick. I was like, I never said anything to y'all when y'all are playing sports.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Why do you have to come on my thing and like the thing I want to do? But yeah, I did sing, this was funny. I may have talked about this. I don't think I ever shared it though because I didn't want them to make me sing. But I sang Taylor Swift's song White Horse. And the recitals were held in church. And everybody was either doing like a hymn or a Christian song of some sort. Which are hard, by the way.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Yeah. And my mom's like, Hillary, are you sure? You don't want to do like a Christian song or something because, you know, it's in a church. You're going to do a Taylor Swift song. I said, no, Taylor would tell me to be different. So I am singing White Horse by Taylor Swift. And I did. And I feel like I crushed it. I bet you did. I mean, I've heard you sing before. You have a very angelic church voice. Oh my gosh. You do. I don't, but thank you. You could have made it as a Christian singer. Oh, thank you. If we called my sisters right now and told them that, they would be like, Morgan, no. There is not an older sister in history that ever believes that the younger sister is ever good at anything.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Yeah. Like, if my sister at this point in my life gives me a compliment, I get teary-eyed because I'm like, you never want to do that for me. She still trolls me. Oh, yeah, mine do too. Oh, yeah. Like, I get made fun of for my Instagram, anything I post. Like, I get, I just get made fun for everything.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yes. I mean, yes. So I don't think it's a reflection of you more than it is a reflection of them wanting to make fun of you. I still don't really think it's good. I mean, I haven't heard your voice in a huge capacity, but like, we've been in the car seeing. I'm like, okay, hell. Yeah, we've, yeah, we've sing in the car together. There's probably, and again, I'm going to hate saying this, but there are recordings out there.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Are they on your face? I hid them. No, they're not public. They're at my house. And my dad has like... I need mom a hill. My dad, my mom won't be able to find them. She can't even remember where she put stuff.
Starting point is 00:49:10 I hid them. I don't even know where I put them. Actually, I do know where they are. But my dad, whenever you sang, he was like, I'm going to send your CDs. Please do. Oh, dad, if you are listening to this, please send them to me. Thankfully, dad doesn't know how to work podcast, so he's not listening to this. I'm going to purposely...
Starting point is 00:49:28 You know what, if your mom or your sister is listening, tell your dad, okay? Because I had to go through that experience. I hope you have to go through that experience too. Well, the recordings I have are when it was before the flood hit Nashville. So I don't even know if it's still there. But there was a thing you could sing at in the mall, the Opry Mills Mall. Oh, yeah. And you could go in and you could record a little album.
Starting point is 00:49:51 It's like a little, it's like a photo booth but for singing. Yes. So me and my friend Kelby decided to, she has a good voice actually. We decided to go in there and sing. We did one together and then one separate. And our smart selves decided you could either choose to broadcast it to the mall or keep it to yourself. We broadcast it to the mall. And I think I sang by myself, Born to Fly, by Sarah Evans.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Great song. That's another artist on our previous podcast. We were talking about artists. Yes. Women growing up, Sarah Evans is one of them. Oh, yes, because I love Sarah Evans. Like, she was definitely one I would sing a lot of sides. Yeah, very sidebar.
Starting point is 00:50:31 But yes. Yes. But yeah. There's a recording of me singing that. And then we did, I think, did we do Does He Love You together? Does He Love You? Yes. Is that that song I'm thinking?
Starting point is 00:50:42 Yeah. Seeing my voice is wonderful. It was great. Everybody knows what you're talking about, though. But yeah, so there's my little, but yeah, those things are buried. I'm sure my sisters would love to get their hands on those. But, yeah. I bet they could go through your room and find it.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Nope. I know where they are. I'm probably going to now go home. I know where they are. I'm going to go home and bring them back to Nashville with me. But I know where they are. Well, if you bring them back to Nashville, then sometimes I'm going to go in your room and find them. I'll hide them somewhere really good.
Starting point is 00:51:13 I don't want to go through your stuff, but I really want to hear these. I'm telling you because you can bond with people over emotional things, and this was a thing for me. It was. And I want to hear somebody else. Would it make you feel better if I go out and seeing karaoke then? Yes. You know why? Because Abby sing on the show, and she was really great.
Starting point is 00:51:30 And I was like, well, this was stupid. And so I'm like, I don't want it. I don't want anybody to ever know my history of like, Morgan Massingale found out. And she's like, oh, I'm going to prep this when she was on the show. She was like, I'm prepping that you did singing lessons. And I said, absolutely not. You are not doing that. So can I prep it now?
Starting point is 00:51:44 No. I mean, it's out on the podcast now. The podcast is a secret, sacred place. It is a secret sacred place, but I can't tell the listeners aren't going to say something. I mean, you know what? If they did, they did. But I just can't. Yeah, we can't.
Starting point is 00:51:59 I will respect. So you don't have to go through what I would do. Yeah, you know what it feels like. I do. I would never put that on you. You know my anxieties. Oh, I know. If I was crying in the dang hallway, you're going to be crying in the hallway.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Yes, it would not be well. So I am, yeah, my singing days are going to be behind me. Oh, man. Okay, that was a great story, though. I'm here for it. I'm ready to sing karaoke. Not going to make any promises that when you do sing karaoke, I won't share it on Instagram. I may be fine with that.
Starting point is 00:52:29 We'll see. I'm going to have to, we can record it and then I'm going to listen to it. Oh, great. Now we need to share the approvals for Instagram too. And I'll be, okay, let me just go do it one more time. Let's run through it again. I won't do that. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Okay, well, maybe someday you all will hear Hillary sing, but until then, those are our karaoke stories. Actually, I did get a song on the radio. Wait, what? I'm just not thinking about this. Okay, I can't believe, it's like, you know how whenever you have something in your mind and it just, like, tunes out? And then it like comes back, random memory.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Yes. Okay. If you live in Jacksonville, Florida, you probably have heard me sing before. I had to do a, Mike D tried finding it. But I told him no. I told him absolutely not. You can't find it. So I had to do a parody song on the radio about our quarterback, Blake Bordals at the time for the Jaguars.
Starting point is 00:53:18 And it was to All About That Bass by Megan Trainor. All about that bass. Yes. We did all about that Blake. And our morning show guy wrote the song and he had me come in. He didn't know if I, like, sang it all. I was just a young female in the, in the radio station, and he needed a young female to sing it. And so I did, and they played it on the radio all the time.
Starting point is 00:53:41 It made it on ESPN. Like, I'm not getting you. And Blake heard it. He came in, and this is the quarterback for the Jaguars. And he came in. It was so awkward, because he had never met me. And so he came in to do an interview, and they ended up introducing us on the radio. And they're like, this is Hillary who, like, saying about you.
Starting point is 00:53:58 He goes, yeah, I was like getting texts from people being like, this girl's singing about you on the radio. And he's like, is it Taylor Swift? And I'm like, oh, dude, sorry. Sorry to where's your bubble. It's me. It's me. So, yeah, I actually, I forgot about that. But yeah, so if you search hard enough, you could probably find it.
Starting point is 00:54:17 I mean, yeah, but it was on ESPN. Yeah. Dang, Hill. So, yeah, there we go. Even you have had a viral moment. I had a song on the radio. That's so cool. There we go.
Starting point is 00:54:30 That was a cool story. I can't wait. I forgot about that. Dang. Yeah. Well, you never know what you're going to hear on this little podcast of mine. I know. Find out all the fun facts here.
Starting point is 00:54:39 I know. You just drop all your big news and I love it. I'm here for all of it. Okay, well, you don't get to hear Hillary sing that song right now, but I may try and find that for any other Best Bits podcast. That would be amazing. Bless. But until then, here is Amy, Eddie, and Lunchbox, all competing in some blind karaoke. Number three.
Starting point is 00:54:57 The karaoke company Singing Machine just released a list of the most popular karaoke songs and songs everybody should know. So I got seven songs in a hat here. We have three performers, Amy, Lunchbox, and Eddie. All right. Oh. We will see who pull through as the champion blind karaoke singer. Wow. Ray, me, you, and Morgan will be the judges.
Starting point is 00:55:16 All right. Okay. All right. Up first, Lunchbox of the seven songs. You want to know what they are? I'd be just pulling. I'd like to know what they are so I can kind of have an idea of what I'm getting into. but if you want to just pull it, pull it.
Starting point is 00:55:27 I don't care. I'd knock every song out of the park. Okay. He will be singing blind karaoke, meaning no words. He just has to go with what he fills in his heart. Old Town Road, Lil Nas X. Gosh.
Starting point is 00:55:40 I've heard that one before. He's going to walk over. We have a performance mic in the studio. He's putting the headphones on. So we have the karaoke version and you will sing it. You'll have one minute of performing and if you don't know the words,
Starting point is 00:55:51 which you probably won't. You just keep going. Don't even know how it starts. Now, check this out. We're going to put reverb on your voices like we do our artist in here. Oh, nice. So just talk normal lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Hello, hello. How are you doing today? This is lunchbox here. Whoa. Oh, yeah. You just got good. Do I sound like Tim McGraw? You don't.
Starting point is 00:56:08 No. Okay. Are we ready? Raymondo, from when he starts singing, he'll have 60 seconds. I'm a cowboy. I got a cowboy. And I got a horse. And I'm going down to that old town road in the backwood.
Starting point is 00:56:30 the good tucky Hop-de-hop Hop-de-hop Give me some Doritos Oh man My nose is starting to run Do you know how the song goes at all? No idea
Starting point is 00:57:02 You have no like I'm gonna take my horse To the Old Town Road No you didn't Take my horse I said Doritos I'm gonna You never You did a Miley Cyrus
Starting point is 00:57:13 Shot out Let's go over to the judges Oh boy Guys it's 1 through 10 Ramundo How do you think Lunchbox did? I give him a four for continuing to sings, but he never nailed any of the lyrics. He wasn't on beat.
Starting point is 00:57:26 The reverb made it able to listen to, but a four is all I can do. Morgan? Yeah, I give him a five, mostly just because of the dance moves. But besides that, there were no words in some random pelvic thrust. I said horse. Yeah, I give you a two. Oh, my gosh. We've heard the song if you would only went, I'm going to take my horse to the old town road.
Starting point is 00:57:48 I'd been like, okay, at least he kind of knows. He didn't. So total score 11? All right, give it up for lunchbox, blind karaoke 11. I think I got the top of the song. How was that audio? Did it sound good? I thought it sounded awesome. Okay, just making sure.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Sounded awesome? I mean, reverb-wise, not him. Up next is Eddie. Oh, boy. Eddie, are you ready? Man, I would have nailed that last one. Of course. You would have?
Starting point is 00:58:12 Oh, yeah. You have top karaoke songs by the karaoke company. you have Taylor Swift Shake it off Oh, okay I think I can do this I think I can do is it really Yeah, you just say shake it off
Starting point is 00:58:27 100 times No Oh did I miss? I missed the start I missed the start Can we start over? Nope Oh
Starting point is 00:58:39 Here we go I get on my feet Say I too late There's nothing in my brain What? And that's what people say I keep moving Won't stop can't stop moving
Starting point is 00:59:01 Mine keeps on boozing A dancing feet Everything's gonna be all right And the haters gonna hate Hey, hey, hey, hey And the shake is gonna shake, shake, shake, shake And the mover's gonna make, make, make, make Shake it off, shake it off,
Starting point is 00:59:19 Who, whew, whew, Break is gonna break, break, break, break, break, break, break. And the faker's gonna fake, fake, big, big, big, Big, big. And I'm just going to shake, shake, shake, shake, shake. Shake it off. Shake it up. Woo.
Starting point is 00:59:34 More? Lightning on my feet. That's what people eat. I can't even sleep. Time. Yeah. You have one minute for when you start. I feel good about that.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Okay. It's harder when you don't have words, right? Yeah. That's really good, though. Thank you. Well, you did well. Morgan, what do you give Eddie? The enthusiasm was there, but I felt like I was watching like a rock star.
Starting point is 01:00:01 Yeah. I want to be Taylor Swift. But I still give you a seven because you nailed a lot of the words. Ray, I can't wait for Bobby Fest in September. Eddie is a performer. I thought he did really well staying on beat. That was entertaining. I would pay to watch that.
Starting point is 01:00:17 That's what I'm talking about, Ray. Your number? Give him a seven, maybe. Oh, that's what? I give you a six. Six. Yeah, I thought maybe you would know a few more words. Really?
Starting point is 01:00:26 I didn't expect you to get them all right. Fake or fake, fake, fake, bake, bake, bake. I got it. Eat a cake, cake, cake. Yeah. I give you a six. A total score of 20 for Eddie. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:35 Yeah. Restructible. Do you want to hear the rest of the songs, Amy, that's in your drawing? Sure. Bohemian Rhapsody. Shallow. Lady Gaga. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:45 Okay. Sweet Caroline, Neil Diamond. I'll help I get that. You do? Well, I feel like, yeah, sweet. Yeah. Party in the USA, Miley Cyrus. Oh, that's a good one.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Oh, that's the jam. I know. That's the easy one. All right, here we go. Welcome to the land. You're not going to get that one, Amy. Your song is. I know.
Starting point is 01:01:02 It's fine. Bohini Rhapsody Queen. Oh, this is tough. Yeah, it's tough. I think you're going to nail this one, Amy. This is your jam. Hey, don't cry. You can do this.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Don't you wear a queen shirt. No, she doesn't have a queen shirt. She's got other bands that she doesn't know, but not queen. All right, Amy, you have 60 seconds of blind karaoke. There is, I help lunchbox with his intro. I give you six seconds until you're. intro just killed a man the trigger on my head pulled the trigger now she's dead mama has just begun with out you mom time there it is oh man that's pretty good that's not bad
Starting point is 01:02:36 it's pretty good um ray yeah eddie was slightly better so i got to give amy a six it was a very very difficult song. She did well, but not as good as Eddie. Six. How is the reverb? Morgan? I mean, I feel like she nailed it for not knowing what she was doing. She took the mic off, so I mean, I was moved. I give her an eight. Wow. Wow. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:01 I thought it was as good as Eddie. I give you a six. Oh, thanks. Is that a tie? Oh, she wins. Wait, she wins. Because Morgan gave her more than me. But Eddie, Mike, what? 20. It's a tie. It is a tie. Sudden Dead singer. Eddie, your song quickly is.
Starting point is 01:03:20 Come on. Let me get up there. Sweet Caroline. Oh gosh. That's gonna be good. I don't know if I know this one. Here we go. Hit it, Raimundo.
Starting point is 01:03:30 All right, this is for all the people in Boston. Let's go. Where to begin? I may not know this song, but I'm gonna hum it the best that I can. Yeah, thank you. Where can I start? I love the world in my heart,
Starting point is 01:04:07 but this song won't come to my brain. Oh, but I see hand, touching hand, reaching out, touching me, touching you. Be care of it. So good. Time, Eddie. Time. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:46 Eddie's such a performer. Amy, you're up. You have Miley Cyrus part in the USA for the championship. We're just going to pick who we think did the best for the championship. Here we go for the championship. And Amy, Miley Cyrus parted in the USA. Here we go. We're from LAX with my dream and a card again.
Starting point is 01:05:10 Welcome to the land of Fanexas. Am I gonna fit in? Everybody's here and I'm hopping into the cab. I don't know where I'm gonna go, but I'm sad. And I'm so famous. Am I gonna get famous? Welcome to the lesson of Fame Excess. Woo!
Starting point is 01:05:30 Am I gonna fit in? And a Jay-Z song was on. And a Jay-Z song was on. I bought my hands up. Jay-Sys song. Oh, oh. J-Z like, yeah. Doing the dips like you.
Starting point is 01:05:51 Yeah. All right, there she is. Yeah. I don't know, guys. Okay, close one. It is. I vote for Eddie. Ray, you got to pick a winner there.
Starting point is 01:06:00 She mocks for Eddie. Sorry. Eddie was good. Ray, pick a winner. Eddie was great. Hands down. He was my guy from the start to the finish. Eddie killed it.
Starting point is 01:06:08 That's what I'm talking about. Ray. Morgan. But I have to go with Eddie. And I go Eddie. It's okay. Say so with all your fans out there, Eddie. Hey, thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:06:21 You can catch me at the Applebee's. I do karaoke every Wednesday. Come on out. Oh, nice. All right. There it is. It's the best bits of the week. with Morgan number two.
Starting point is 01:06:32 Another little food challenge. We spun the wheel and someone on the show had to eat the world's stinkiest fruit. Again, I will just say that I hate the spinning wheel. That's all. And that's all I'm going to say. Because if you missed it, you know, something happens again. And somebody ate the world's stinkiest fruit after two people paid to pass on it. That's it.
Starting point is 01:06:53 Now I'm done saying anything. Here you go. Number two. This is the world's smelliest fruit. I smelled it before the break it. it surprisingly was as bad as advertised because I thought, okay, we're going to do a bit. Well, hey, wink, wink.
Starting point is 01:07:06 It's stinky, but no, it's bad. My eyes water a little bit. It's called a durian. It's a spiky odorous fruit native to Southeast Asia. And how this came about is I was given an article from this show called Would You Eat It? And they had a chef, a kid who seven, and a dog all eat this as a bit to see what they thought.
Starting point is 01:07:27 And I thought, oh, it's not like a great bit for us, too. I didn't even know the fruit existed. It does look like a sea creature, doesn't? It's all spiky. Yes. So we have a wheel here. There it is. All of our names are on the wheel.
Starting point is 01:07:40 If it lands on you the first time, you can buy your way off the wheel for $50. $50. And that will be a charitable contribution to St. Jude. Wow. But the second person that it lands on, if you don't want to buy your way out, has to actually eat it. Okay. Hey, let Amy smell it, Scooba, if you walk it over to her. I'm, oh.
Starting point is 01:08:01 Is it sharp, pokey? Yeah. It is? Okay, Scoob, Steve's walking it to Amy. Just take a small way. Just go. I just look that way. Go.
Starting point is 01:08:11 I mean, it looks like a brain. Oh. That is gross, and it looks gross. It smells like a sweaty sock that's been forgotten about. That's what the Internet said. Like a sock has been forgotten. Like, oh, I forgot that was there and I worked out. And it kicked it under the dryer.
Starting point is 01:08:28 Really does smell like that? Yeah. Yeah. You want to take a little sniffy? Yeah, I do. A little sniffy whiffy? Here, I'll go to it. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:08:35 Now it looks like a museum exhibit. We're walking up to it. The inside, like, I don't even can't. Eddie's all up in there. He likes it. Corona. I can't smell anything. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 01:08:46 Eddie had COVID. No, I smell the hint of it. And what I smelled does smell kind of like dirty sauce. We forgot you don't have all your smell back. I have to get my nose in it to smell. Should Eddie be taken off? the board? No, I can taste. I can still taste. But the taste in the scary part. I mean, it smelled terrible. I just had to get my nose in it. Okay, here we go. This first spin of the
Starting point is 01:09:07 wheel, you can buy your way out of it. Ready? Here we go. Let's spin the wheel. Come on. Yes. Oh. Mike D. All right, Mike D. Will you be buying your way out of it? Are you going to eat the Dorian? I will eat it. Oh, okay. Wow. Is that how you say it, a durian? A durian? So how do you eat it? It's already cut? Yeah, you just, now I've opened up the lip. You just go in there and grab. There's that lip. Oh, that's disgusting.
Starting point is 01:09:40 There's seed pockets, and there's multiple different fruits in each seed pocket. I peel back the lip for you. Can you come help us? Yeah, sure. Because we'll probably do this with more than one person. Oh, what? Why? You just said, we spin the wheel once and someone eats it. Come on, man.
Starting point is 01:09:54 You know, you're making it totally different. Amy, in life. What? Sometimes you have to pivot. Yeah, I understand that. Yeah, it's just situational. Oh, okay. We have this thing. Can you see it on camera right now? Yes What does he do? Does he need to fork? Yeah, that might say cool You can just grab with your hand. Oh, oh Oh, that looks disgusting. Yeah, it looks like inside of a pumpkin
Starting point is 01:10:17 Yeah, or a body. It looks like a good description. It looks like a scrambled egg almost It is yellow like a scrambled egg, but pumpkin texture instead of a pumpkin. All right, Mike, grab it and go. Oh, he's thinking about changing his mind. You have your you want to buy out of it? I mean, I kind of do. Now, this looks disgusting. I didn't see the inside of it. I thought it was just going to look like fruit. No.
Starting point is 01:10:35 It looks like an alien. It does. Do you want to buy out of it? You know, if I still can, I would like to buy my own. Okay. Wow. All right, he'll donate 50 bucks to St. Jude. There we go.
Starting point is 01:10:46 Oh. If I still can, I want to buy out of it. Does the second spin get to buy out? No. That's it. Okay, I'll tell you what? Second spin come out for 100 bucks. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Okay. Okay. Hey, it is. What is it is? I didn't know there's a fundraiser, but here we go. Let's spin that wheel. Oh my gosh, please no. Come on. Come on.
Starting point is 01:11:10 No, come on. No. No. No. Yes. Eat that. It's me. I will buy out of it for $100.
Starting point is 01:11:20 Come on, bones. I said it before we spun. I know. I will buy. Now St. Jude has made $150. But think about the people listen. They want to, they want to hear you. The next one to buy out of it is $150.
Starting point is 01:11:31 Scott, this is already out of control. All right, here we go. Let's spin the wheel. No, no, no, no. Come on. Come on, please, please, world. Please, world. Go, keep going.
Starting point is 01:11:43 Like, what? Morgan number two. You have the odds. I don't have $150 dollars that's been on the donation. What? Take it to the face. Take it like a spoon. Take it to the face.
Starting point is 01:11:55 Take it to the face. Take it to the face. Take it to the face. Take it to the face. All right, this is called it. Duryan, it is a world's smelliest fruit. Stick your nose in there. You smell it?
Starting point is 01:12:09 Oh, yeah, it does not smell good. You can grab just that piece right there. Got that piece. It does. It's like an alien. Pull it out of there. It's so flimy. How big of a piece do you want her to eat, bones?
Starting point is 01:12:22 That's good. She's getting a chunk. Oh, that's disgusting. Eat it. Take it to the face. Take it to the face. Take it to the face. What if it's amazing?
Starting point is 01:12:33 Ooh, she likes it. Okay. It tastes like a pineapple. It does. It looks like a banana. A banana. It sounds delicious. So it smells bad.
Starting point is 01:12:46 It looks bad. But it tastes good. She's eating more. Oh, man. Y'all just spent $150 for a banana. We donated. Yeah, it's like creamy. It kind of tastes.
Starting point is 01:12:57 It's like yogurt? Yeah. You like it? Oh, yeah. It doesn't look good. Like, don't look at it. Just eat it blindly. That's what Caitlin does with me.
Starting point is 01:13:06 What? She doesn't look at it, but she just kisses it. Yeah. She's like, I'm not going to look. Oh, man. That's not true. Where do you buy this, Scoop, Steve? You can buy this at any, like, Asian market.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Like 99 ranch is very popular in the West Coast. Any kind of World Marketplace. Where'd you get it here? I got here at KSW World. Like the West Side? Like a World Marketplace. Yeah, they're expensive. This was $27.
Starting point is 01:13:27 What? One fruit? So it's a delicacy. These are like usually $5 a pound. So this is a smaller durian. Wow. Oh my goodness. What? It's really good. Okay. Well, so we learned it smells awful. Yes. But it actually tastes pretty good.
Starting point is 01:13:41 Okay. Morgan can't get enough now. Yeah, I kind of want to eat the whole thing. And Mike, we lost money. Well, you need to because it was $27. Yeah, don't let a bite of that go to waste. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. Coming in at number one, we found out someone on the show had kind of a weird request. And I'm just going to say that nobody anticipated any of this.
Starting point is 01:14:08 But Mike D wanted to get pepper sprayed. And so he got pepper sprayed by Bobby. Crazy. I still cannot believe he wanted to do that. Such a wild moment, something that like nothing we could have ever said would have anticipated that getting brought up in conversation. Yeah. And Mike D. just like, yeah, want to get pepper sprayed.
Starting point is 01:14:25 He also wants to be tased. He also wants to potentially be shot at, I think, is something else he mentioned, like with a bulletproof vest on. Oh, no, he does not need to do that. I vaguely remember. Are you sure he's like with like a paintball? I don't know. I vaguely, well, like, I think we got onto that topic and he was like, I'm not against it. I don't think he like openly was like, yeah, I want to do it.
Starting point is 01:14:47 We need to talk to him. He had said that he just likes, like, the idea of all of those things. Yeah, like trying things out. Yes. And so that happened. and like I just, I'll never forget it because I'm like, what in the world just happened? But I want to know, is there anything like strange you really want to do? Or we can just talk like bucket list.
Starting point is 01:15:09 What are some items on your bucket list? The first thing that comes to my mind that it's kind of a strange bucket list item and it won't happen for a long time. I really want to own an alpaca farm one day. An alpaca farm. I knew that because you love alpacas. I know. I think it would be so... I send you all the alpaca tic-ttocks that I find.
Starting point is 01:15:28 I know that are still sitting in my DMs because I never check it. But, yeah, I love alpacas. And I think it would be so cute to own a little alpaca farm. So that is a bucket list item for you. Yes, but it won't happen for a long time and I need to find somebody to help me take care of them. So you have to get married to somebody who also loves alpacas. Oh, yeah. But, I mean, they're not going to have a choice.
Starting point is 01:15:47 Like... Well, as long as they love animals, I think they can accept that. Yeah, they're going to have to... My dream would be, and I told my mom, this because my mom, I took her to an alpacaf and she now loves them too. I said when, you know, I get older, I get married, if that ever happens, we can become neighbors, you and dad can move up and we'll be neighbors and we'll have the alpacas and my mom can like kind of help take care of them.
Starting point is 01:16:07 I didn't know this part of the story. I mean, I knew you wanted to have alpacas. I did not know you added an addition to this story where your parents live right next to you and it is a family going on in an apaca farm. Me and my mom have had full on discussions about this. My dad doesn't know about these discussions, but yeah, me and my mom want to have a joint Alpaca Farm together. Wouldn't that be so fun? Hillary the Alpaca farmer. Yeah. Farm rancher. I don't know what that would be either, but I think that would be a lot of fun.
Starting point is 01:16:37 Yeah. I mean, I totally could see that though. I could totally picture you on an apaca farm in your later life. Like maybe after you retire, that becomes a thing. It'll be like when I'm older. There's no way I could handle that now. I can barely handle just one puppy. Like there's no way I could handle an entire farm of alpacas. There's no way. But a great item to have on your bucket list. Yeah. Is there any other strange items on your bucket list or strange things you want to do? I can't really think of anything because I'm not a super like daredevil person. Like I have no desire to go like hot air ballooning or jumping out of a plane. No death-define moments.
Starting point is 01:17:14 No. I have zero desire to do any of that. And I feel like the main thing on my bucket list was moving to Nashville, which I did. But yeah, besides. that. I feel like just owning my alpac of farm. I need to get a better life. No, that's a great goal to have. A great goal to have. And I support every last bit of it. Thank you. I think, where's my phone? I think I had, if I still have it on here, I don't really have like a bucket list of like skydiving or things like that. I do have a bucket list of places I want to go and what I want to do when I'm there. Oh, fun. And I just created like a literal, like, list in my phone.
Starting point is 01:17:53 That's not just like a little list. That's a really long list. There are some things that are a little bit. So I do have ghost skydiving, which I really don't know that I'm ever going to accomplish that because I'm terrified of heights. I am too. There's no way. I want to go to a concert at Red Rocks in Denver.
Starting point is 01:18:09 Yes. I want to go to every state in the U.S., which I am about to start crossing that off with, I'm headed up to D.C. and Maine and crossing off Maryland and all the few of those states up there. Do paint balloon darts? Haven't done that yet. Still want to do that. Didn't they do that in Princess Diaries? Yes.
Starting point is 01:18:28 I just wanted to, like, do it with my friends to just, like, put paint and balloons and play balloon darts. Okay, we're going to do that one day. That's an easy one. Flyboarding, you know, the thing that's in the lakes and oceans where you go, like, it's a wakeboard, but it shoots up in the air. Oh, yeah. Okay, that could be kind of scary. But, yeah, that would be fun. Kind of scary, but you're over a little body of water.
Starting point is 01:18:46 I'll let you go first. We'll see what happens. Participate in a color run, which I did recently. So I crossed that one off. Go to a winery in like Naples, Naples. How do you pronounce that? In Napa? Napa, yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:00 In California? No, the one in Italy, like the OG. Oh, probably wouldn't it be Naples? There's a Naples, Florida, so that's how I would pronounce that. But I don't know. That might be it. Attend the Kentucky Derby, which is close enough that I could do that. Yeah, we could definitely.
Starting point is 01:19:14 Marty Graz in New Orleans. Go see a game at Fenway Park, which I also cross up. I need to update my list. You need an update because you've done some of these. But then like random ones, like go on an African safari. Why are you laughing at me? Because I feel like I should have been more thoughtful on mine. No, I'm, I'm telling you this, and I say bucket list because it's truly things that I will like cross off.
Starting point is 01:19:40 If I make a list of something, I have so much OCD that I will cross them off. Yeah, I love that. Even if it's in 70 years. I feel like they're like travel-wise. There would be some stuff I want to do. I just have never really thought about it. I think there is. I think most people want to travel and explore the world like that.
Starting point is 01:20:00 That's kind of more of my bucket list than it is like. Yeah. Daredevilish things. Like I want to go Iceland. I want to volunteer at a wildlife reserve. Oh, that would be fun. Oh, you know what we both want to do? Hold a sloth.
Starting point is 01:20:11 Yes. I would love to hold a sloth. Bucket list item for sure. Oh, my gosh. Yes. They're so cute and snuggly. Definitely wanted to. I still want to go to a rage room.
Starting point is 01:20:19 we can totally do that there are a few of these items yeah that we can do here on both of our lists that i imagine will be on your list if you like sit and think about it yeah you would have some others that are here in town that we could do yeah rage room would be one of them i found a place there's definitely one so rage room would be one for downtown we can go rage and then we can go throw paint balloon darts i say let's do it let's be a whole day spend a day one weekend and just go rage and then how do we how are we going to do the paint things do we say we that up ourselves or to be like by pre-painted balloons. No, you just get the balloons and you put paint in them and then you stick them to like a board
Starting point is 01:20:55 and then get darts. We can do it in the park behind my house. That way we can like wash off the paint. Yeah. Okay. Let's do it. That would be fun. Right?
Starting point is 01:21:03 And then the rage room we just pay for. Right? Yeah. We pay for it. I can't remember how much it is. But we can do it together. We can beat up a bunch of stuff. I feel people are concerned about me.
Starting point is 01:21:13 Why? Because I said I want to do a rage room. I posted on Instagram because I just need a recommendations. Like if somebody knew of a place. I couldn't find one. And everybody's like, are you okay? I had friends text and reach out to me. I was like, yeah, I just want to go. Like, that would be so much fun to me. I don't get where it came up that it became like this rage thing to be like associated with you not being okay. Sometimes you just want to get things out. I know. I feel like I do have things in me that I just
Starting point is 01:21:41 need to get out. And like just going and smashing something would be so great for me. I would love that. anything, it means you're a super healthy human being because you want to go in a controlled environment and hit things rather than hit a person or something. I remember telling Mike D, I wanted to go do this. And I was like, if I go by myself, I probably would start crying and like just begging things and crying like tears. It is supposed to be a version of therapy. It is.
Starting point is 01:22:06 I think you can go. You can play like your own music and you can have a friend go with you and you just like smash things. This is what we need to do. Yeah. I think we could both benefit from this. It would be rage therapy and then paint therapy. Yep.
Starting point is 01:22:23 We can make a beautiful photo. It would be a perfect day. We're going to do it. We just have to sit down and plan it and we'll do it. And then we'll make sure we post about it on Instagram so everybody can see our rage dart-throwing day. We'll see how it goes. The day of Hillary and Morgan. I think it'll be a lot of fun.
Starting point is 01:22:39 We should definitely look into that. It would be a great therapy day for us. Well, now that I've said other bucket list items, is there anything that comes to mind for you? The rage room. I'm just thinking of all the stuff I don't want to do, not the stuff that I want to do. I really got to sit and reflect on this. Like the traveling thing, oh, I do want to go stay. Have you seen the domes that people can go stay in?
Starting point is 01:23:01 And it's like a clear, like, you like sleep in a bubble. And then you can see the stars. And the snow or in the beach. Oh, I think I've seen different ones. And like the mountains. I just saw one the other day. It's in Asheville. And I really want to go.
Starting point is 01:23:14 I literally just found it. And I followed them on Instagram. I want to go one day. But yeah, you just go and you stay in this dome. And it's just like, you can, while you're lying in bed, you can see all the stars and everything. I love that. So it's kind of like camping. You have more of a bucket list than you thought you did.
Starting point is 01:23:31 Yeah. I just have to sit and think about it. Well, and somebody are like somebody, some people are super against the idea of bucket list. But I'm like, why? Yeah. It's all about like just having goals to do things in life and dreams. And you just write them down. It's the only difference of you keeping it in your head versus writing it down.
Starting point is 01:23:48 Yeah, it's just having fun with life. And, you know, there's so many things out there to do, so why not do it? When I feel like too, like having that makes me like every time I get a chance to go on vacation, I'm like, I'm not going back to the same place. I'm going to try somewhere new because there's all these places I want to see. And if I keep going back to the same place, I'm never going to see any of these places. Which I love that. But it's like out of a comfort zone. Like it's terrifying to go visit a new place, especially when you don't know anybody there and you don't know what you're doing.
Starting point is 01:24:15 Right. But you're like, why wouldn't I when I have this one chance, whether it's one vacation a year, to go and do that? I think for me my problem is I just want to go see my family. So if we could just pack everybody up and everybody go, even my nephew, like and the dogs and everybody, then I would be, I'd be more willing to go. Well, you could definitely bring the nephew and dogs. Yeah. I have to chat with me. Places are so much more dog-friendly now than they used to be, which is awesome.
Starting point is 01:24:45 Yes. I mean, Remy goes, Remy's been on just as many of interest as I have. She has. And, you know, we're going to be flying soon with Georgie for the first time. So if she does well, then, you know, we can travel more. But I feel you. I mean, that's the hard part about living away from your family for anybody who chooses to move away from their family to a city. Like, that kind of changes your vacations to go back and visit your family or then visiting you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:11 It definitely changes that a lot. It does because it's, you know, anytime. that we can get off and go because our job is very busy, I want to go see my family. Well, family is more important than traveling and doing all the things because you don't get all that time with them. No, I don't. And I just, I love visiting with them, even if we just hang out at the house. Like, we don't have to go.
Starting point is 01:25:31 Like, my mom's like, what do you want to go do? And like, I just want to stay here and just hang out with y'all at the house. I'm fine with that. It's just being in the comfort of home is a different kind of comfort. It's so nice. And I, yeah, I get home sick easily. And, yeah, I just love going home. Oh.
Starting point is 01:25:46 Sad. I promise I'm okay. First of rage room and now this. Now you're fine. I promise I'm fine. Yeah, I can admit when I'm not fine and I'm totally fine. Well, we can still go eat some cookies or something. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:00 I have a bag of chips here. I need to finish. Well, that's okay. We can end on that because that was a fun, cute, also a sad moment, but that's fine. We're just fine. We're going to brush that away. I know. That took like a really deep dive into sadness.
Starting point is 01:26:14 It's okay. That's a good thing. We need to end on a better note. We're okay with our emotions, Hillary. Yes, we are. All emotions are good emotions. Yeah, most times. All right.
Starting point is 01:26:26 I know. I've said enough. That was fun. Okay, well, here's Mike D. Officially getting his wish and getting pepper spray. Number one. All this week, I've been struggling with Mike D. Our writer, who writes a lot of the games that we do,
Starting point is 01:26:40 and he's just like, please pepper spray me. I want to know what it feels like. I didn't want to do it, but he was going to have it done somewhere. So I said, okay, just come over to the house. We'll do it at the house because there I have everything. Tows, shower, Caitlin's there, a car to drive him to the hospital if he needs it. Everything was there. And so he comes over, and you had a little pink pepper spray?
Starting point is 01:27:00 Yeah. Is that yours? My fiancés. So she carries that around in case someone comes up to her. Yeah. And I thought to myself, how can our listeners benefit from Mike D being sprayed in the face of pepper spray? And it hit me. Does this stuff really work?
Starting point is 01:27:14 Like if you have one of these as your keychain in case someone comes and tries to mug you, do you think it would really work? The answer is, after doing it to Mike and I'll play a club, is yes. 100%. Just make sure you know how to do the thumb thing because it kind of has a safety on it. Oh, really? Thank goodness. So you don't just pop yourself in the poopoo with it.
Starting point is 01:27:35 So, but no, to use it. But then, no, it works. Why were you craving to have this done? I just wanted to see what it felt like. Okay, so I had it. And I have the pink thing in my hand. And it's red like you're, it's, it is what, it looks like you're shooting Koso on his face. Oh, really?
Starting point is 01:27:53 It's not clear? No. Oh, interesting. Except it hurts when you breathe. Like, I'm shooting him and I'm going, and I took my hand and I want to cross his face three times. One, two, three. Now we have audio here. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Okay. Here is clip number one. Okay, we are at my house right now, not at the radio station in case any of our bosses are listening. And I am going to spray Mike D with pepper spray because I want to be sprayed in the face to feel the sensation There are a lot of sensations I've wanted to feel never has this one popped into my mind And you are saying if something happens to you you are releasing me of all guilt You are released of anything criminal activity. This is just for me Okay, so here we go
Starting point is 01:28:37 I'm nervous, but I do it. Let's count it down Three three, two, one. Alright. Got him right there. Okay, it's in his eyes. It's red. Oh my gosh. Ooh.
Starting point is 01:28:53 Look at me. Oh. Oh, he's spinning. Describe what you're feeling. It's like fire in your eyes. Yeah. I can't even open them. Okay. When you open them, it makes it works.
Starting point is 01:29:11 He's drooling. Is that the worst pain you've ever felt? Yes. I'm good. No, you're not. So there you have it. He got sprayed in the face with pepper spray. Are you glad you did it?
Starting point is 01:29:27 I'm glad I did it. Would you want to do it again? Oh, no. Not at all. Was it worse than you thought? It was worse than I thought. And it's not just the pain in your eyes that immediately just loses all your sight. It's that breathing it in.
Starting point is 01:29:37 I think you heard in my voice there. Made it hard. So I go back into my house. I'm working on some stuff. And I text Mike like an hour later and go, hey, I'm just checking in. Are you okay? He goes, yeah, I'm okay. I'm still here. It's your house. He's still here.
Starting point is 01:29:51 He's like, I'm not leaving right now. Yeah, it took about 15 minutes for my eyes to open again and then 30 minutes for the burning to stop. So would you tell people that this is a good thing to have on them? I mean, it's extremely effective. Like, you're totally out of it. You can't do anything. You're like completely just blind. It's intense.
Starting point is 01:30:10 I need to get some to carry around. Any question for him? No, I mean, no, I'm thankful to hear he doesn't want to do it again. Because I was getting worried about him wanting to, the sensation of pain because I feel like if we dug deeper, that could mean something. Like, he's wanting to just feel in general. But yeah, no, it seems like it was just the thing and he's over it. Do you recommend it? For someone else to have it for protection, yes.
Starting point is 01:30:31 Do you recommend someone getting shot in the face? No, do you recommend it. Not worth it. You don't want to feel it. Are you regretting that you did it? No, I'm glad I did it. I wanted to see what it felt like. I know what it feels like, so I'm, no, don't regret it.
Starting point is 01:30:46 Are you still craving, putting on a bulletproof vest and having someone shoot it? I think I'm good on safety equipment. Oh, you're good now. I'm good now. I got my fix. He's it. He scratched that it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:30:55 Hey, listen, he did it. Yeah. We learned something from it. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. That is a wrap for this week's show.
