Best bits of the week and we've got them for you. Best bits of the week with Morgan number two. I am bringing you the top moments from the entire year. And there were so many, so get ready for this.
Starting point is 00:03:07 One of the biggest moments from the year, our own Bobby Bones, got engaged in October. So much happened for him throughout the year, but this was the highlight. So make sure you listen back to hear him talk all about it. Bobby's big story. Well, the big story is I got engaged last night. Yeah. Yeah. Is there anything bigger here?
Starting point is 00:03:29 No. Well, which way would you like to talk about this first? I can just tell you how it all went down. Would that be the best intro to this? That's what I want to know. Because there are a lot of little layers to this, but we'll do that. So, by the way, we got engaged last night at about 610, 615 in the barn in my backyard. Which, by the way, e-news just posted a story.
Starting point is 00:03:56 And the story says, American Idol's Bobby Bones is a single. engaged, a girlfriend Caitlin Parker. And in it, it talks about me doing a country music show. And we took a picture of Virginia in a cornfield, because that's where I did my Nat Geo show, and I'm holding a thing of corn. I look like the most country bumpkin. Because it's like country artists, I'm in a cornfield.
Starting point is 00:04:13 They don't say why. I'm holding a piece of corn up. And I am, but I thought that was funny. So, I had set up for, it had kind of been in the works for about a month. She had no idea. I wanted to surprise her. She thought it was coming probably Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:04:29 ish, don't you think? Yes. Because Amy and Caitlin are super close. And Amy has known about it for the last couple of weeks. But so I wanted to do it in my barn. So what we're doing is we're actually renovating this old barn we have in the backyard. And I knew that would be a great cover for people going into it and setting it up for the proposal. So I told her, I said, hey, while we were away this weekend shooting my show in Virginia,
Starting point is 00:04:53 I said, hey, they're working on the barn this weekend. They left some paint colors and samples in there. We need to go and let them know by Monday morning. what color we want. I'm severely colorblind, so I said, hey, I need you to go with me and look at them,
Starting point is 00:05:04 and we'll just send them a text and tell them what to paint inside of the barn. And so there was no paint colors, by the way, it was all. But while we were gone that weekend, we had a friend of ours
Starting point is 00:05:16 who does holiday, the inside houses for Christmas, the inside for Thanksgiving. I called her, I was like, hey, would you set up the inside of the barn? And so there were candles, there were all these plants,
Starting point is 00:05:27 there were all this hanging stuff. It was great. And so we have security cameras all over a property, and you can look at them on the phone at any point. So again, I had to be like, people are going to be at the bar. So she was driving a truck that wasn't even hers to do it in case Caitlin looked at the cameras. We had really covered ourselves. So we land from Virginia probably yesterday about 4.30. I had set up a dinner date with two of our friends, Keaton and Nick.
Starting point is 00:05:54 And we haven't been out on a dinner date since before the pandemic started. And so I was like, we're going to go to dinner. We're going to get dressed up. And we're going to leave. We need to be there at 640. And I did a whole fake text message with them going, hey, where's where we're going to go. And I picked the place to be pretty nice because I knew she would get dressed up to go to a nice place. And I didn't want her being proposed to not dressed up.
Starting point is 00:06:16 So about five minutes before we're going to leave. I said, hey, oh, crap, we got to go down to the barn. And we have to look at this paint because I got to send it off tonight. And so she was like, okay. And it had been raining. And she was like, oh, I don't want to walk. I was like, it's fine. we'll just walk down there real quick.
Starting point is 00:06:30 So we walk down to the barn and she's just been like, hey, she wanted to make sure that I talked to her dad before I proposed, which honestly, absolutely, but I've been playing coy. I've been like, you know, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I don't know who I'm going to talk to. I'm not going to tell anybody. I said, we can tell them right after. So I'd been messing with her a little bit. Obviously, I'd already talk to her dad. And I said, hey, you just don't wonder about your dad. We're 10 feet from the door. I said, I've talked to him.
Starting point is 00:06:56 She goes, you have? I said, yeah. I said, here, let's finish this. and I'll tell you more about it. So I opened the door to the barn and it had to open the right door because on the left side of the door was Joe, my guy who does photos and video,
Starting point is 00:07:08 they were set up over there to film the whole thing. So I opened the right side of the door and it is just lined up with candles and plants and things hanging from the ceiling and it's a trail going all the way down to the end at the back of the barn where there's this big white rug. And as soon as I open the door,
Starting point is 00:07:26 I'm talking as soon as she can look inside, She went and started crying just like that. And I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, not yet. So I grabbed her hand. I said, come on, come on, come on, go on. And you can see, because I put on my Instagram at Mr. Bobby Bones. Like the second picture on that swife is her seeing it and realizing it and just covering her face. So we walked to the end and I knew what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I didn't have anything like written out, but I knew what I wanted to say because I felt it. And so I basically told her, I said, hey, before you, I kind of felt like I was broken. Like people that love each other was just in the movies and people, or they were lying about it. Because I'd never experienced it. Never loved anyone like that. Never loved anyone romantically ever. And I said, before you, I just thought that was either a lie or something that the movies had. And I said, I don't feel that way anymore.
Starting point is 00:08:21 And I think I told her I was obsessed with her. And then I said And I told her I loved her very much And then I got down on the knee And then I opened up the ring And she was like She said yes And it was great
Starting point is 00:08:36 I don't remember all of it fully Because it was so much happening Is sensory overload And so she's like Oh and she's crying And we're like I'm like well All right
Starting point is 00:08:47 I'm not a one trick pony Let's get out of here And she's like what And so our song You can play it from the beginning Ray Our song Because we went to a Matt Carney concert in Oklahoma City for Valentine's Day.
Starting point is 00:08:59 We went to watch The Thunder, but he's a friend, and he was playing in Oklahoma City. So I texted him, said, hey, we're finishing the game here. Are you still on? He's like, yeah, come to the show. So we go to the show, like the last five or six songs, and she tells me that it was during this song, the final song, where she was like, oh, I think this is the guy I'm going to be with forever. But she told me that, you know, two months later. So I've known for a long time.
Starting point is 00:09:21 So because of that, this has been our song. I'm a big Matt Carney fan anyway. and it was during this song when he played it at the end of his show where she's like, okay, and she wrote a note to herself right then to remember it. Here's the song in case you weren't familiar with it.
Starting point is 00:09:37 So we're walking up and the song was playing. We have a little area by our pool and the song's playing out loud. And she's like, oh, you're playing Matt Carney over some speakers. And I said, well, come on. Matt was playing.
Starting point is 00:09:50 I got Matt to come and set up and Matt was playing out on the little pool stage. And he's playing the song. And she's like, oh my God, Matt's here. And I was like, yeah. And so we walk up and he goes, does she say yes? And I gave him the thumbs up.
Starting point is 00:10:07 And then he played the song and we danced to it and we sang to it. And then it was amazing. And we walked back down the hill. Because we had nobody there. Just for COVID reasons, I don't want anyone to come and get sick. There was no mass gathering. I mean, if anyone would have been there, Amy would have been there. And Amy wasn't there.
Starting point is 00:10:26 She knew, but she wasn't there. and so we call Caitlin's parents because I talked to her dad and told them exactly when it was now they live in Oklahoma and I was like don't feel like you have to drive
Starting point is 00:10:38 nine hours because no one's gonna be here we'll see you for Thanksgiving anyway he was like great well he tried to text me while I was in Virginia shooting but I was on set
Starting point is 00:10:50 the whole time and Caitlin was doing my hair and makeup the whole time so she was never away far enough away from to talk to her dad again. And so Caitlin calls her mom at the after we're done. She goes, oh, she shows with the ring.
Starting point is 00:11:04 And her mom was like, yeah, I knew, I knew. And her mom's like, we're like five minutes down the road. They drove all the way over. Wow. And hung out with this. And then her dad, whose eye doctor, had to be back at work the next day. So then they drove back home. They were there for like 45 minutes.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Amazing. Her mom or dad and her sister, which was fantastic. So we made a bunch of calls, and she called to tell people, and I called to tell people on him. Then it was late, but we were hungry. So we still had that double date, like a small Mexican restaurant near the house. But yeah, then I was just exhausted. So went back home, went to bed, is pretty great.
Starting point is 00:11:40 And then I looked at it. I don't think she slept very much last night. But yeah, that was it. And here we are in the end. But I'll tell you, Amy was... Eddie knew because we were in the studio. Because Mike D and I got into a conversation about who was going to do it first.
Starting point is 00:11:58 At first as it came, it was a bit on the show, like who's going to do it first? We didn't know when each other was doing it, Mike and I didn't. But later that day at my house, we're in the studio and I said, hey, Mike, I'm probably going to beat you proposing. And he goes, oh, no, I'm doing it in two days. And I was like, what? I was like, well, I'm doing it in a week in two days. And so Mike knew, and then Mike and I were talking about that. It's like Eddie, Eddie doesn't have to leave.
Starting point is 00:12:22 I was already here. And so Eddie knew, and then I went, and I don't know much about rings. but I went to Genesis Diamonds here in Nashville and they were fantastic and I do some work with them already but never for myself. What do I know except for what I read about what they have going on there? And so I went over and I had to really strategically go because pandemic time I only come to the studio and then I go home and Caitlin knows where I am at all times.
Starting point is 00:12:50 So I really had to strategically like I got a haircut once and I had to like do it up against the haircut because I don't want to be gone too long So she had no idea. So I go and I don't know. I thought, this is how naive I was, I was like, well, 24-carat gold, that sounds like normal. So let me, what's the 24-carat ring? And they're like, that's like $10 million. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:13 I didn't know the carrots were different in rings and gold. I still don't know the difference. Oh. So I got an edge, they taught me about the stone. So I picked out the stone and I knew what shape that she wanted. but I wasn't sure like the band I knew she wanted
Starting point is 00:13:29 like a simple band but I'd picked out the stone and I was like okay I'm ready to go well so the second time had Amy come with me to help me pick the band out because she was like
Starting point is 00:13:37 I knew Caitlin I wanted no frills on the band just what a color is it it's platinum like platinum colored just but Amy helped me pick the band out and then send it off
Starting point is 00:13:47 took a few weeks to come back I left it at the store for a while just in case I was so covered in every way but and I love to
Starting point is 00:13:55 that the girl, the woman helping you with the ring, her daughter is a huge fan of the show. And I said something when we were leaving, hey, tell your daughter hi. And she said, oh, I will. But once the proposal happens, because she knew, I just thought that was super professional and awesome of her because she knew if she told her daughter,
Starting point is 00:14:15 hey, Amy and Bobby were in the store, then she might think, oh, my gosh, Bobby's getting engaged. So everyone was, like, tight-lipped. And I was worried about people tagging me at the store. So I got to the front door. Luckily, masks exist. I didn't take my mask off as I walked to a back room in the store and then we shut the door. Because all it takes is one person to take a picture of me and tag Caitlin on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:14:35 That would be terrible. That would be terrible. So she was shocked. I was happy about that. It went great. Her parents showed up. It was Matt Carney. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Came. It really was wonderful. So that's the story of it. We have some more little rivers. We'll go down in a minute. But let me take Angelica in Wichita, Kansas. You are on the show. Angelica, how are you?
Starting point is 00:15:04 I'm good. Bobby, how are you? I'm really good. What do you want to say? Well, I just want to say congratulations. I've been listening to the show for about 10 years since before you guys even went country. So I've been with you through a few different relationships,
Starting point is 00:15:19 and I'm just really excited for you. I saw the story last night and I about cried. because I was just so excited. So I just wanted to call and congratulate you and say that I'm super happy for you. Well, thank you very much. I appreciate that. You got so many nice notes. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:15:32 All the B team was just going nuts. I love them so much. And they were big techs. It was just crazy. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. Another romantic moment happened. Mike Deestro got engaged. There's so much love happening on our show this year.
Starting point is 00:15:51 And this was another cool moment. Mike D proposed to his girl over the weekend. Come on you. How long have you been planning on that? Like a month, yeah. So we did this bid on the air last week where we said, who's going to get engaged first? Or one of you guys did, Mike D or myself.
Starting point is 00:16:12 And we debated, and most of you guys picked me. Correct. And then I was talking to Mike at my house. We're doing some work over there. And I was like, hey, what about that bit? He goes, oh, you're not going to win. I'm doing it. Saturday.
Starting point is 00:16:26 I didn't know. I didn't know during the segment. No. A lot of listeners said that I had set that bit up. I didn't. It was brought up to us and then I look and I knew he was going to propose but I didn't until after the show. So how nervous were you?
Starting point is 00:16:40 Leading up to it I wasn't that nervous. It wasn't until we got to the spot where I had it set that it kind of hit me. And then once I actually got down on one knee, it was all a blur. So you did it at a park? Yeah. We always go hiking on a Saturday. at this park, and there was this spot I kind of had picked out that was kind of special. So you go, hey, we're going to go hike.
Starting point is 00:17:00 The trouble is, is that she has to wear hiking clothes, and I don't know how people want to look in their engagement picture. Was that something you thought about? Yeah, but the whole thing was I wanted it to be a surprise, and I knew if we did anything where we got dressed up or something like that, she would think something was up. So I wanted to do it then. I love what you did. I think it was fantastic.
Starting point is 00:17:20 I just wonder if some people would be irritated going, we took. Our engagement picture, I'm in, you know, Lulu Lemon. No, she loved it. Okay. So you walk up to a point. Was it a special point that you guys had experienced something special, or was it just a good spot where you knew there'd be room to do it? It was like one of the first spots that we walked by that we actually talked about what marriage would be like. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:42 So, and there was also like this little tree stump where I knew I could set the phone to record and have it all go down. So the plan was to record, like you're taking a picture? Yeah. Like, hey, we're going to take a picture at our spot. Yeah, so we took a couple pictures beforehand, and on the last one, I was like, let's get one more, and I was just recording the whole time. So you hit video. Yep. You walk over to her, and I assume you got down on a knee.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Yeah, like I joked what they're saying if I wanted to take, like, a prom-style picture, so I could be behind her. And then when she turned around, I was on one knee. Wow, that's so cool. Voller. So she turns around, you're on a knee, what do you say, and did you rehearse it? Yeah, I wrote a little bit of what I wanted to say, and then in the moment it kind of just all came to me. The only thing I wanted to make sure I actually said was, will you marry me? Because I think some people forget to do that.
Starting point is 00:18:28 But in the midst of all of it and, like, how it was all a blur, I forgot to put the ring on her actual finger. But what'd you do at the ring? Put it on yours? It's like, will you marry me? And then it slides it on his pinky. Because I had to get this ring box that was like slimmer so it could fit in my pocket and her not see it. And I had it like in my back pocket. But then when I pulled it out, I was just holding it and then she actually grabbed the ring.
Starting point is 00:18:50 She's like, that's mine. Well, she's super pumped. Yeah. She was completely surprised and yeah, it was awesome. How long ago did you buy the ring? Was that a month ago or longer? I had went like a month ago to like pick it out and then I picked it up that week, yeah. How did you know, did you know what she would like or did you just pick it out your own style?
Starting point is 00:19:09 Found her Pinterest. Oh, that works. Wow. Yeah. She had rings pinned? Yeah. But you guys have talked about it. We talked about it too.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Oh, okay. Well, that makes sense. the kind of style that you wanted. You know what I just learned that, because obviously, Caitlin and I have talked about it a little bit, I learned you can't, you don't just, for some people, because the ring, the fingers are different sizes than what they have in the store,
Starting point is 00:19:35 then what the shape, people like different shapes of diamonds, that you don't just go in and everybody doesn't just pick one and walk out immediately. I thought you would go in like Walmart. Find your product. And you grab a ring and then you just walk out. Well, they need to size it. Yeah, they apparently have to do all kinds of stuff to it. They have to size it.
Starting point is 00:19:51 There's different kinds of rings. Yeah, there are. Huh. It's a process, for sure. And Mike, how do you feel today? I'm excited. I'm really happy. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Never thought I would do this. When are you all going to get married? Sometime, probably early summer next year. This is Mike's first and only relationship ever. You met her two years ago or so? Two and a half years ago on a dating app. And so he had never had a girlfriend. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:20:21 And she had never had a boyfriend. Never had a boyfriend. I mean, it's straight Dougher style here, guys. Yeah. Congratulations, man. Thank you. That's awesome. And she's awesome and just super pumped for you. And she's staying here now, right?
Starting point is 00:20:34 She's going to live here and stay here. Yeah. Okay. All right, there he is. Love it. I love it. Congratulations. Wow.
Starting point is 00:20:44 It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. We had our annual St. Jude Radiothon and Chris Stapleton covered Leanne Wilmacks. I hope you dance. And I'm just going to let you all know, it went viral because of course it's Chris Stapleton. So you have to listen back to this performance because it was a really cool moment. Not only was it for St. Jude, but it was Chris Stapleton covering Leanne Woolmack. Since we can't play the entire performance, you can go watch it on our YouTube page, YouTube.com slash Bobby Bone Show. I hope you still feel small and stand beside the ocean. Never
Starting point is 00:21:27 One door closes, I hope one more room. Promise me that she'll give faith the fighting change. Get the choice to set it out on dance. Damn. Hope you, dang. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. In a big family announcement, Lunchbox had a second baby with his wife.
Starting point is 00:22:28 He shared the gender, the name, and all the details of everything that went down. So relive this really sweet moment Where Lunchbox may or may have not cried All right on the phone right now Lunchbox And I wonder Hey are you at the hospital or are you at home?
Starting point is 00:22:46 Hospital Oh it sounds like he's asleep too Have you been sleeping at the hospital? Yeah, I'll sleep on the little couch You know, they don't Take care of the fathers at the hospital They just give you a little slice of a couch And they say, here you go
Starting point is 00:22:59 They give the wife a nice big bed But I'm a try to champ and I did it. Did this call wake you up? Yeah. Like, well, I mean, the doctor's coming in and out every couple hours. So you wake up with them and go back to sleep and you go back and wake up. So, yeah, I mean, this woke me up for this time.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Well, tell us what happened. So you had the baby. At this point, it's been two days now. So kind of walk us through it. So you get here, whatever night that was at 1 a.m. And they just kind of check you in for two hours. hours, taking vitals, and then at 3.30 in the morning, they gave her a pill, like, and she just disintegrated her mouth to start the labor process. So that's cool. Then they came back in at 6th
Starting point is 00:23:45 that morning, and they gave her something called Potocin that really gets it going. And then they kept coming in every couple hours, checking. They came in at like 11 a.m., and they're like, oh, you know, you still got like four hours to go. Like, no problem. Don't worry about it. So And then about an hour and a half later, the doctor stopped by and goes, well, you're ready to push. Okay, so much for four hours. And so we got everything and they set everything up. And my wife started pushing at 1240 on whatever day that was, Wednesday. And at 1 10 p.m., baby comes crying out.
Starting point is 00:24:29 30 minutes. That was it. And you were in the first. room. Yeah, I was in the room. Yeah, I was in the room. Did you watch it come out? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Well, yeah, we put a mirror right there so you can watch him. No, you didn't. Yeah. Oh, okay. Didn't he used to be the guy that was like I would never watch it or never be in the room? I don't know. I think he watched his last one. Well, until he had a baby.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Yeah, I did. He was probably like, that'll ruin it for life. Well, yeah. And then it's like, oh, my gosh, it's amazing. And last time she pushed for four hours to have our first kids. this time 30 minutes. So I don't know. It was incredible and the baby comes out and it's like wah, wah! And then you have a baby. It's like wow. So before we get the actual gender reveal, you didn't know, right, what it was going to be?
Starting point is 00:25:22 I had no idea. Okay. No idea. Did you feel like you knew? Yeah, I felt like I knew. I felt like I knew because there were so many people in my family that We're having dreams about a certain gender. And, like, just randomly, my cousin would call me and, like, oh, I had a dream last night that you're having this. Wow, okay. And it was like, he was like the fifth person. So I was just convinced what we were having. And the baby, we were on.
Starting point is 00:25:50 And everything's healthy. The baby's healthy. Oh, yeah, baby's healthy. Like, no Nicky's time. I mean, baby came in a big old seven-pound three ounces. like a, I mean, just awesome. Okay. Are we ready? We're ready for the gender reveal?
Starting point is 00:26:06 Yes. Who knows? I don't know, yeah. Morgan, do you know? Yeah, I know. Amy, do you know? I have no idea. I don't know either. All right, so we're finding out at the same time. Lunchbox, go ahead, talk us down.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Hello, guys. Everybody wants me to be a girl dad. Oh, you're going to be such a good girl dad. Because I got a boy at home. A baby comes out. And the doctor says, here you go. Lays the baby down. and I open the legs in... It's a boy!
Starting point is 00:26:34 Yay! Got two boys. Were most people right about the dreams? Did most people think it was going to be a boy? Well, they all thought it was going to be a girl. Oh, they did. They all had girl dreams, and so it was just like, oh, my gosh. It was...
Starting point is 00:26:51 It's a weird description. I opened the legs. I know. It's like, okay. We got it. We got it, Lans. All right, well, let you get back. to sleep. There he is lunchbox. The big
Starting point is 00:27:02 gender reveal this morning. He had a second boy. Yeah. There we go. All right. When do you leave the hospital lunchbox? Later today. Oh, wow. Cool. Are you as nervous about getting the baby home? As last time?
Starting point is 00:27:19 It's a little nerve-wracking. It's a little different because this one, we've had the baby overnight, a couple nights. So we've had it in the room was the first one we didn't have any parenting until we took it home. because it was in the NICU. So I feel a little bit better because the baby's bigger.
Starting point is 00:27:34 We've had it in the room, but it's a weird feeling. It's really cool that we actually get to take the baby home when we leave. And it was crazy because I got to hold the baby the first day. Like I didn't get to hold my first baby a whole week later. So it's been a totally different experience. And it's just been so I'm not as nervous as I've done it before. I'm like, oh, this one's healthy. So this one should be easy.
Starting point is 00:27:55 But once I strap him into the car seat, that's when it's going to hit me like, oh, my God. oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I'm taking them home. Like, this is crazy. And it's been emotional. I've been a lot of tears, a lot of happy tears. And it's crazy. There we is.
Starting point is 00:28:11 One last time. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. Obviously, the coronavirus pandemic was a huge thing in 2020, and it even impacted our own show. Producer Eddie got coronavirus. May or may not have gotten it from his time. in Florida. We're not really sure. But we did talk about it and he was gone from the show for a while. So here's the shining moment where Eddie shared he got coronavirus and some symptoms that he had.
Starting point is 00:28:41 All right. Our video producer, my best bud, Eddie is on the phone. He's been out because he got tested for coronavirus. We didn't know if he had it or not, but he's on the phone right now. Eddie, how are you? I'm good. How are you feeling? I feel great, man. I feel really good. So we have this. Amy, why are you looking all funny? Okay, I don't know, because I mean, he's... He's either in the garage and he's going to walk in the studio and be like, I don't have it. Or he's going to go, nope, I'm still at home in the bed and I have it.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Redmondo, can I get a drum roll, please? Eddie and I've been talking a lot over the weekend. And let me say this. I was surprised by what he told me. Are you going to walk in the door? If I look at the door, is he going to walk in or does he have corona? Eddie, it's now in your... your control, you can delay it out however much you want.
Starting point is 00:29:36 All right, here we go. Not be walking through that door, ladies and gentlemen, because I have tested positive for corona. Oh, my gosh. Have you had to call anybody that you've been near and said, hey, you know, because there's protocol. Amy, I haven't been around anyone. I don't think you understand.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Like, unless I call the people at the gas station on the drive from Florida to Nashville, I mean, I haven't been by anyone. Well, how's your family? Anybody else sick? Has your wife been tested? My wife has not been tested. She is not sick. My kids are not sick. My mother-in-law who was taking care of our kids while we went to Florida, she is now getting tested because she's not feeling well. How old is she? I mean, she's not young.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Hey, Ramundo, I know you had a big beef with Eddie because you were mad. He went to Florida instead of Vegas. Yeah, but that's way behind me. I'm just very sad right now for Eddie. he has a coronavirus. This just took a nuts turn. Did he get in Florida? Who knows? Who cares? He just needs to get better.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Hopefully, it shakes it. Yeah, what if, I mean, your smell needs to return. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I mean, I've really, like, you guys have been checking on me and everything, and I do feel better. I feel great. The thing is, the only thing that's gotten a little worse is my chest.
Starting point is 00:30:59 The congestion's gotten a little worse, you know? Like, it hurt to take a deep breath. But, I mean, if I'm just, I can breathe. fine. That's probably the only thing that's concerning. Wow. But so the doctor says, the doctor says basically wait till about
Starting point is 00:31:16 Tuesday. If my symptoms start going away by Tuesday, then we're good. We're good to start leaving the room, go outside, hang out with the family a little bit. When are you getting tested again? Yeah, and your wife also, because she could be asymptomatic and she could give it back to you. Yeah. So I would probably go
Starting point is 00:31:36 back and get tested as soon as my symptoms are done. So whether that's Tuesday, Wednesday, whichever one. And then you have to wait another four or five days. Yeah. Now, we haven't seen the test. I mean, the test did take about five days. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I'm going today to get a test, but it's a rapid test. So it's two days. So I don't know why you wouldn't sign up for that, you know? Yeah, we talked about that yesterday. I think that's what I want to try to do, find the rapid test. I don't know what the difference is. I have no idea. This one just took longer.
Starting point is 00:32:12 So I'm getting tested today, not because of Eddie, because I haven't seen Eddie in person in over two weeks. Right. I feel confident about that. Like, if we had just seen him or something, or let's say his symptoms hadn't kicked in, I'm like, just thank goodness he didn't come here right after vacation. Or it'd be all of us.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Well, I had to call and talk with HR because they almost closed the studio down. Oh, really? Yeah, because if he's sitting over there at that table and he's in the window of having coronavirus. Yeah, but... But he wasn't because our last day that we were here was July 1st before we went away for vacation. So we're gone like a half week, then a full week,
Starting point is 00:32:47 and then we didn't see Eddie in front of the few days after that. So he hasn't been in here in over two weeks. But yeah, Eddie, if you're just turning in the radio on, Eddie has coronavirus and he's in his room. How long have you been in your room now? I've been in my room for 10 days now. Anybody having anything they want to say to him? Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:33:06 Man, Eddie, I hope you get better, dude. I feel bad for you. I mean, I don't want to I don't want to sit here and gloat or anything, but you took shots at Ray and I, your tweets talking about, oh, look who has to go get corona tests. And I'm just saying, man,
Starting point is 00:33:22 you can never be too careful, right? That's what you're telling people because you say you're so careful. I mean, oh, I hope you get better, dude. Oh, this is terrible. He takes a shot and ends it with I hope you get better. I get it. He took a lot of shots at Ray and out on Twitter about us.
Starting point is 00:33:37 And so I don't know. I just, I feel bad that you're sick, dude. And I hope your family's okay. And, man, was the call anything like the call you got from my lady? No, actually, they emailed me. It wasn't even a call. Oh. So when you got the email, did you just think it was negative since they said that we're going to email you negative?
Starting point is 00:33:56 Yes. I had already pictured in my head that I was going to run downstairs and show my family and be like, whoo, guys, I'm free. But that wasn't the case. And what did it say? It just basically says, you know, here's the, this is, you've been tested for this. And then are you positive or negative, basically? And then it just goes down the list.
Starting point is 00:34:19 And what did you think immediately when you saw positive? I didn't see it immediately. And then I was just kind of like kept looking for it. And then I saw the word, but then I didn't really understand it because they used a lot of code. And so I read it like 20 times. And then finally, I'm like, okay, no, there's no doubt. Yeah, got it. But then how did you feel?
Starting point is 00:34:38 Well, you don't feel good. I mean, the closure is good. I mean, the understanding what you're dealing with is better. But other than that, you don't feel great. And then you just start thinking like, gosh, like, where could this have happened? Like, really? Like, where, who? I'll be the first to tell you guys if I was being reckless in any way about it, I was not.
Starting point is 00:35:00 I've worn my mask everywhere I've gone. We did not. I haven't been to a restaurant in months. I haven't been in a public place in months other than to go in and pick up food really quick with a mask. I don't know what to tell you guys. If anything, this thing is real and it's easier to get than you think. Where do you think you got it? I have no idea, bones, no idea.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Because I would be trying to dial in and admit my top three list. For sure. I mean, for sure there is the travel. I mean, your gas stations, you're going a drive-thrus. You could have got at your kid's baseball game, too, honestly. A kid baseball game, you know? Like, everyone's wearing masks, but there's a lot of people, a lot of people in one area. Well, listen, we need you to get better.
Starting point is 00:35:46 We need you to test negative twice. Is that what the rule is? I don't know. Before you come back? Oh, is it? Yeah. So we'll see in September. It looks like as slow as the test are now.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Good call. Yeah, and I'm just, I'm hopeful for the rest of you. your family. Like, that's great. Your wife hasn't had any symptoms. Hopefully. Yeah. Honestly, that's been, that's been the tough part and not being able to see my kids and my wife. Yeah. Like, my wife will come in and give me food and she'll wear a mask or whatever, but literally I haven't touched my kids. I haven't held the baby in like 10 days. Well, on the bright side, Eddie and I've been playing video games every night. He sits in, we put the headset on and play for like hours. Is he getting better? Yeah, he is getting better.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Yeah, yeah, he is. You can't get worse. More you play, better. you good. All right. Eddie, we're rooting for you. Get better. We'll talk to you tomorrow. All right. There he is. All right. There is Eddie. He has COVID-19, the old corona. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. More love fest happening on the show this year. Raymondo got married. We talked all about his wedding leading up to it. But of course, the biggest finale moment was when he actually finally got to get married in a chapel with his beautiful bride. we heard all about it, even when he got scared that his bride may not show up.
Starting point is 00:37:04 So listen back to this. Raymundo's wedding was this weekend is fantastic. Nice job, Ramby. Yeah. Yeah. A safe but fun wedding. I thought it was fantastic. Yeah, I mean, in my dreams, I never thought it was going to go that smoothly, be as easy
Starting point is 00:37:20 as it was, and awesome. I mean, so many good conversations, my family, with you guys. I mean, it's the only time in my ever that my grandma is going to be in the same. room with you, Garst Brooks, I mean, Tricia Yearwood and me and my pride ever. That's true. So I mean, special moments like that only happened in one day and I'm glad I took it all in. I mean, every second I was, I was tuned in and it was awesome. We were all standing outside of the small chapel waiting on Ray's now wife bay to come up and he wasn't going to see her. So when she pulled up, he was going to go inside and just let her go by. And so we're all waiting and four o'clock is when
Starting point is 00:37:58 wedding's to start, it's 4, it's 405, it's 410, it's 420. Eddie goes, what if she doesn't come? It was starting to feel like that a little bit. And the whole group of us went, oh. So she got there about 430, we went in. It was awesome. Ray goes down, we're all standing out. It was, you know, when everything is kind of being shut down, it was a small group, but I felt like there was still a lot of fun and love there. I thought it was a really well-balanced group. Yeah, I mean, we did want to have the 150, all my family, more people from work, but we had to do the 30, and actually, it was a lot easier because you can actually experience everybody. I've talked to people that said, yeah, at my wedding, I didn't even get to say hi to everyone,
Starting point is 00:38:39 which kind of sucks. It's your wedding. You want to say, what up? Thanks for coming. So we're there, Ray does his vows. They do the whole spiel. And I keep waiting, is Ray going to cry? Because I have 20 bucks on the line against Amy, against Lunchbox, and against Eddie. And Ray did not cry. Ray, officially, did you cry? I did not cry. I did get, uh, in my head a little bit emotional. My dad gets up there, reads the scripture. And for whatever reason, kind of started crying. I'm like, Dad, keep it together.
Starting point is 00:39:03 What are you doing? So I'll be collecting that cash from you guys sometime soon. You got to learn never bet with Bobby. Because if you bet with Bobby, yeah, you lost. Yeah, you lost. Yeah, we bet with Bobby, you know you're going to lose. Why do we do it?
Starting point is 00:39:14 I don't know. So that was my favorite moment, Ray not crying. That's your favorite other everything. I made cash, yes. Amy, your favorite moment from Raymondo's wedding? Gosh, I probably when y'all performed the song that he wrote, and that was their first dance. Like this,
Starting point is 00:39:29 one from the ceremony would be, I thought that their pastor was great. And I loved the rag doll story. I've already told it to two people. And then I'm going to tell it on my podcast too. And then at the reception, for sure, y'all all singing. And then Ray and Lauren dancing is perfect.
Starting point is 00:39:49 So the first dance for Ray and Bay was Eric Dodd with the raging idiots. Yeah. Yeah, it was. Singing the song That Ray wrote The song that Ray and Eric wrote Ray and Eric wrote
Starting point is 00:40:04 Ray am dreaming about all the years We ain't lived yet So let's celebrate This special day Like you taught me to love a birthday Live our lives away Ray explain the birthday line The birthday line I
Starting point is 00:40:22 As a guy I don't know I've just always been kind of too cool for birthday and I didn't really like always take them in. And I guess, and when she had cancer then, she goes, man, I can't wait for my next birthday. I love birthday. And I'm like, you know what? Let's celebrate birthdays. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:40:37 We have another birthday. So that's the new thing. I mean, appreciate birthdays. It's a blessing to live. And I mean, we experience that firsthand. Life can come real close in a hurry. And she's just like, man, we got to celebrate every birthday. So I threw in the song.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Eddie and I were up there singing the song. and we had had all those little parts we were going to do doubles. But we were so nervous about messing it up that right on, we were just like, we're not trying to make this. We're just going to try to nail it with no extra flavor involved.
Starting point is 00:41:06 It was special to us to be able to do that and we didn't want to mess it up. Edit your favorite moment for the wedding? Well, I had one, but I didn't know he was going to mention that Garth and Trisha were there, so I'm just going to change mine right now. Audible, Audible, Garth and Trisha
Starting point is 00:41:17 being at the wedding. It was pretty awesome. And they're so nice. Because I don't think Caitlin had met Garth ever. and so Caitlin and I were standing there talking to Garth and Trisha afterward and I know him a little bit And Caitlin was like yeah from Oklahoma Gar's like oh yeah where she goes from Fort Gibson he's like I used to swim over there as a kid my grandma lived over there and they had this whole talk about Oklahoma and Fort Gibson and crazy they're just if you didn't know they were international extremely
Starting point is 00:41:43 successful superstars they would just be folks that were at the wedding that's right and what a great way to talk about somebody like they're amazingly talented and we're huge fans of them, but it's also cool when they're around because they're so nice, and you wouldn't think they are at the status they are. So that's cool. Lunchbox? I thought the whole wedding was great, but my favorite part was I was talking to Ray's grandma and his mom at the reception. We were just talking about Ray, and they're like, listen, Ray is full of crap.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Anything out of his mouth is just, you don't believe anything. You can never get a straight answer out of Ray. And his mom didn't appreciate the song Ray chose for the first dance with her because she goes, I didn't want Sappy. I wanted fun, and he tried to make me cry. You danced to Garthbrook's mom. Yeah, I got it. This is just the actual song.
Starting point is 00:42:29 But yeah. But I thought it was great. And to me, it meant a lot to dance with my mom to that song, even though she didn't want it because she said she was going to cry. But sorry, Mom, I wanted this song because it's a special song and special moment. It was so sweet while he was dancing with her. Did you see he was patting her back? Yes, the whole time.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Yeah, the whole time. It was precious. It was like burping a baby almost. That's what it looked like. She raised me. And then in that moment, it was like, I'm a man now. And I'm like, thank you, mom, for raising me. That's it.
Starting point is 00:43:02 At this moment now, I'm officially a man. That's what she said. She said, Ray, I have whispered in my ear. Mom, this takes me back when I was a kid. You raised me right. Thank you so much. And she was just like, I was like, Ray, stop it. Ray, stop it.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Your dad is so tall. It doesn't talk. Your mom is really short. Yep. Your twin brother is very tall. Correct. You are very short. Very short.
Starting point is 00:43:25 And I was finally able to see when you were dancing with your mom. Oh, that's where it kind of comes from. Yeah, and I believe it's the mom determines the height of kids. So I would have been like 6'6 if it went by dads, yeah. But your brother's tall. Correct. I don't know. It's weird.
Starting point is 00:43:38 But I strongly believe if a person's mom is tall, they'll be tall. You guys were debating on what to wear. Because we all had it easy. We had blue suits. Yeah, all had suits. I knew what I was going to wear, and then I assumed my husband would wear a suit. because we're going to a wedding. And then he's like, no, no, we're going, it's, no, we're going to a chapel on some land.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Like, I'm wearing boots and nice jeans and a blazer, like a sports coat. And I'm so adamant that he cannot do that. He needs to wear a suit. It's like causing tension between us. I'm like, fine, just wear whatever you want. So he puts on his Lucchasey boots, his nice jeans, and his sports coat. And then we get there, and I'm pretty sure my husband said that Garth is in jeans and boots. That's it.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Yeah. Come on. Well, your husband, I thought he wore a suit. No, he wore jeans and boots. Oh, he did? Yes, because I wasn't going to continue arguing with him about it. And then I got put in my place when we show up and, like, goat is there wearing, like, jeans and boots. So I thought, I just kind of hung my head.
Starting point is 00:44:37 And I was like, your boots look nice. But that's proof because Bones didn't even notice he was wearing jeans. No, it must have been really dark jeans. They were really dark. The darker they are. Yeah. The more formal jeans they are. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:44:49 He fit the formal. whatever Canadian tuxedo look, but I was not feeling it when we left the house. But suddenly, I was fine with it. Bray, what was your favorite moment? Definitely, they rigged it when my grandma, they did the flower toss. And my grandma was in the very front. She's 90 years old, and they threw it right to her, and she caught it. And so she was the next one to get married is what that means.
Starting point is 00:45:10 And she's like, I'm not getting married again, though. I'm like, okay, grandma, it's okay. Just catch the flowers. Well, it was a lot of fun. It was. It was. The reception was all spread. out and I just thought you got to put a lot of effort in keeping it safe and also, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:25 making it a real memorable experience for all involved. And then it seemed like the next day I was watching your Instagram, it seemed like you were just drunk all day. Yeah, ended up partying pretty hard with Billy and I'm still hung. Yeah, last night, Caitlin takes her phone and she goes, I'm looking at Ramundo's story and he's going, it's the first day in seven years I haven't done show prep. America, forgive me. She's like, what does this even mean? And I was like, I assume he went so hard. He wasn't going to... I said, I don't care if this is a wedding. Oh, I thought maybe you said, hey, it's your wedding.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Like, don't worry about prepping. Did you not? Oh, I thought that was maybe a gift. Yeah, I thought that was your present. Hey, here's your gift. Don't worry about it, retro. You're good. I laughed out loud at that.
Starting point is 00:46:07 He was apologizing to everyone. It was a fantastic wedding. You can go over to the Bobby Bones website, bobbybones.com, and you can see some pictures from the wedding. It's the best bits of the week. With Morgan number two And arguably one of our listeners' favorite segments is the drafts that we do. So we're playing back some of the drafts that were the biggest viral moments for us.
Starting point is 00:46:30 One of them was the best duets and the other was the greatest Americans. All right, we're going to do a draft here. We're going to draft our best duets. Now, Eddie's not here. So since Eddie's out, I'm back in the game. I got to tap in. All right, around the room, best duets. Morgan, you're up first.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Well, I think this is probably one of the best duets of all time, and it's Brad Paisley and Alison Krause, Lollaby. He put that bottle to his head and pulled the drink. I love that song. It's a good one. It was on my list. I was hoping I was going to get that. Good one.
Starting point is 00:47:11 All right, drafting best duets of all time, Ramundo. Good pick, M2. Let's see. That was actually going to be my number one. One, let's go ahead and do Eric Church and Luke Combs does to me. Wow. You went really new. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:47:38 I'm going to go as my favorite duet, Islands in the Stream, Dolly and Kenny. Amy, over to you. You get to draft your favorite duet. Go ahead. I'm going to go with Cheryl Crowe and Kid Rock Picture. Oh, interesting. I always forget how good that song is until I hear it again. So good.
Starting point is 00:48:07 And finally, Lunchbox is the best duet. Yeah, this one goes way back, and they are married, and they look at each other in this video, and you can just feel the love because it's your love. It's your love. It's a good one. All those are good ones, man. Most of them are kind of love songs except Ray. or with Luke Combs
Starting point is 00:48:31 unless they're singing about each other. Couple dudes, what's wrong with that? No, nothing. Most duets are love songs. True. In general. I have one coming up that I'm going to draft.
Starting point is 00:48:39 That's not a love song. But first round, we're all love songs except yours. Okay, we go backward now. Lunchbox, you're up. Ah, man. Best duets. I'm going to go with
Starting point is 00:48:51 You and Tequila, Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter. You and Tequila make me crazy. I like poison in my blood. I feel like I'm going to run out. I'm going to go with Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett.
Starting point is 00:49:11 It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Pour me something tall and strong. Make it a hurricane before I go and soon. It's on it's 5 o'clock somewhere. All right, I'm up. I have islands in the stream. I think I'm going to go Dilemma, Nellie and Kelly Rowland. Oh!
Starting point is 00:49:35 As my second one. I know what you mean to me. Kind of going off the beating path a little bit, but I'm going to go Nelly and Kelly Rowland Dilemma. Ramundo? Yeah, is Garth and Trisha still around? Yeah, what song? Uh, in another's eyes.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Yeah! This picture, perfect portrait that they paint. Morgan? It's a tough one. What's your next, what's your do at your drafting? There's part of me that wants to just go totally off of my list based on what everybody's doing. But I think I'm going to stick with this one. It's an oldie but a goodie.
Starting point is 00:50:24 It's over and over, Tim McGrath. Oh, good one. You know, I had to decide which one of those to draft out. I'm both listed between the dilemma and over and over. Yeah. Nelly makes it twice, but then does he make it again with FGL? Oh, yeah, yeah. I forgot about that.
Starting point is 00:50:41 All right, we're drafting our favorite duets. Morgan, you'll make your final pick now. You have whiskey lullaby, and you have over and over. What is your final pick? I think, Ray, this isn't going to be on there because it wasn't on my list, but I just thought of it and it's such a good one, but it's the middle, Mary Morrison's Ed. Oh, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Yeah, I didn't think about that. I don't even have it on my list. That's why I just thought about it. So sorry, Ray, you won't have a clip. Well, we can, baby. Yeah. Oh, baby. He found it.
Starting point is 00:51:13 I'm losing All right, Ray Mundo your final pick You have Does to Me From Luke Combs and Eric Church In another's eyes Garth and Trisha
Starting point is 00:51:26 What's your final pick? I'm kind of feeling The newer duets look Instead of going These 40s, 50s people from years and years ago Why not do something from like, I don't know
Starting point is 00:51:34 this week? So I'm doing John Party and Thomas Rett Beer Can't Fix. Ain't nothing that A beer can't fix. It's a good song. Oh man.
Starting point is 00:51:59 Okay, I'm going to go with shallow Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper. Yeah. Amy, your favorite duet? What's left? That, that's what I... That was...
Starting point is 00:52:21 I mean... There are still some big ones. I know. I know. But I wanted that one for diversity. So I'm going to go with Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys. That's a good.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Let's watch your final draft pick in the duet draft Yep I'm gonna throw this out there And hopefully it gets accepted Cowgirls Don't Cry by Reba and Brooks and Dunn All right so you can go to Bobbybones.com and vote on yours Because I had almost took Dan and Shea
Starting point is 00:53:05 with Justin Bieber 10,000 hours Oh that is so good I did That was the two I was debating on it too I know. Can I go do it? No. Oh, that's so good. And Empire State of Mind with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Or Jackson, Johnny and June. I'm going to Jackson. We've been talking about Jackson. Ever since the fire went out, I'm going. Don't you want to stay from Jason Aldine and Kelly Clarkson? Mm-hmm. Don't you want to stay here? I got you, babe, Sonny and Cher.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Bibi Rex and FGL meant to be. That was another one. I had a whole list, but... You know, you're trying to make your team equal, you know, a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Okay, you know the song we used to perform together? You and I? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:54:09 You would bring me on stage like a couple different times. I know for sure we did it in Wichita. That's the reason our kids are ugly? Yeah. You're the reason our kids are ugly. Conway Twitty? Yeah. And Loretta Lynn.
Starting point is 00:54:19 But I don't think that that would have made it. Well, I'm just saying as a duet. You're the reason our kids are ugly. Mr. Bobby Bones. All right, time now for our Bobby Bones show, Fantasy Draft, where, much like fantasy football, we all sit around and draft folks. Lunchbox won the last one. Morgan number two is actually out for the first time ever?
Starting point is 00:54:42 Wow. No, not the first time ever. Oh. I did, yeah, I took an L on this one. Oh, I didn't remember you ever being out of this. That's kind of sure. It was very rare. L train.
Starting point is 00:54:50 We will, yeah, she's on the L train. Sorry. Saw you riding the L train today. It's a bummer. The greatest Americans draft will go around and draft a team. And then you, the listener, you get to go to Bobbybones.com and vote on the team that you like the best. It's all about the team.
Starting point is 00:55:08 And Amy, you have the first pick overall. I do. And you drafted as your first pick. Abraham Lincoln. She is solid first pick. Yay, Amy. Scuba Steve is our executive producer and he's wearing a referee uniform. You got the whistle in case any pick does not fit.
Starting point is 00:55:23 Yes, sir, and a flag ready to go as well. Okay, it sounds like a lot. It's a lot. It's very extra to do both of those. But okay, lunchbox, you have this second pick of the Americans draft. You're up? Yeah, I think young and old all love this individual. The greatest of all time.
Starting point is 00:55:38 American bleeds, red, white, and blue, Garth Brooks. Right, Garth Brooks. Interesting. Eddie, you have a little. have the, the, yeah, I thought, I thought lunchbox would go with this. I mean, this guy, he's on our quarter, he's on our dollar bill. I know, me too. I was hoping him would get to me.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Mr. G.W., George Washington, man, come on. Solid. Ramundo, greatest American draft, your pick. Martin Luther King Jr. That was my worst pick. Okay, now I need y'all to not pick you. There are no Americans left. They're all good.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Yeah, yeah, don't mind. Abe, George Washington, and MLK were all my first round picks here. I knew I wouldn't get two of them. Dang. Now I have to pick. I definitely wanted to set the tone with a great American in history because there's a lot of entertainment folks I could have picked. Abe George.
Starting point is 00:56:36 Like any other president, you get too controversial. I don't know anyone that voted for George Washington. I know, Abe Lincoln, nobody was fighting back then about, there was no Facebook. All right, I'm going to go with Dang, the MLK Jr. Pick was one I just I just thought it would be there for me. I had all my hopes into that one.
Starting point is 00:57:00 You know what we should do, and I'm guilty of this too. We should put a shot clock on this. Yes, we should. Just so the referee has something to do. Scooby's team sits next to me in a full referee uniform and he never gets to do anything. Yeah. What do you think? 30 seconds?
Starting point is 00:57:15 I think it's too much. I think 15 seconds. Ooh, too close. Okay, 20. 20. How about 30 for the first round? Okay. 20, 10. Okay, let's do that.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Wow, 10? That's a great round. That's when it gets hard. Yeah, I was going to say third round should be longer. 30, 20, 10. Okay, well, I'm up you on the clock right now. I'm on the clock starting now. Oh, you get an extra 30.
Starting point is 00:57:38 You got like an extra six minutes and a half months. Who are you debating against for your, I mean, there's other. Well, I just really want, like a Benjamin Franklin. Franklin or you know I'm gonna go I get two picks in a row don't I What about like I'm gonna go with a Thomas Jefferson who wrote the Declaration of Independence sure there you go Probably not gonna be the winning pick Because he just doesn't have the pizzazz he's a founding father He doesn't have the pizzazz and a Lincoln ass
Starting point is 00:58:04 Okay so there you go first round picks are in Amy has Abe Lincoln lunchbox has Garth Brooks Eddie has George Washington Raymundo has Martin Luther King Jr and I have Thomas Jefferson All right, I'm back up again. So now you have 20 seconds. You're on the clock. All right. Guys, we're pretty much out after the...
Starting point is 00:58:32 Stop, there's a lot of Americans love. There's no more. Five seconds. Oh, okay. Wow, this goes fast. I'll go Ronald Reagan. That's a good one. That time got you, huh?
Starting point is 00:58:43 I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. Everybody like Ronald Reagan. I'm scared to get! I'm going to lose my pig. All right, Ray Mundo, you're up. I'm going to cross over a little bit to entertainment. I'm going to do Mr. Rogers.
Starting point is 00:59:00 Oh, that's a good one. I didn't even think of him. Wow. I'm freaking picking vice presidents from the 9-10. Dan Quail. Good one. Okay, over to Eddie. I'm going to go with Taylor Swift, Miss Americana.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Okay, good. What do you mean? That's a great thing. I mean, I love her, but she didn't make my list. And so we won't start the clock until I go, so-and-so you're up. Correct, yeah. Okay. Well, you guys have good picks.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I don't have crap over here. Lunchbox. Yeah, this person, I think everybody watched her on TV for a year. She's the biggest thing in the world. Oprah. Had her. Amy? Dwayne the Rock Johnson.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Oh, good one, Amy. You guys are so good at this. My picks are terrible. I have a list of picks and they are not good. Well, now that Oprah's gone, I don't know what I'm going to do. Is it me again? No. You're back to back.
Starting point is 00:59:57 No. And she's got how many seconds? I haven't put her on yet. Okay. Yeah, I haven't put her on the clock yet. I was looking at some, I have a, like, I have people like Jimmy Fallon on mine. That's good? Amy, you're on the clock.
Starting point is 01:00:11 I mean, I don't know. People better know that he's the one that invented Amazon and you know you all love it. Jeff Bezos. Amy's scolding or listeners. How do you say it, Bezos and Bezos? Yeah. Amy's scolding our folks. I mean, yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Okay. That's my third pick. Thank you for Amazon. Abe, the Rock, and Jeff Bezos. That's a good one. Okay. Is this all a team? I feel like I should have put a woman on there,
Starting point is 01:00:31 but Oprah was taken. She was only a woman in America. Lunchbox. You're up lunch. Yeah. This person has entertained your kids. It's the happiest place on Earth. Walt Disney.
Starting point is 01:00:44 Okay. A Walt. Maybe still alive. I don't know. Oh, Walt. Frozen. Oh. That's frozen.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Eddie, you're on the clock? Okay, here we go. I'm going to go. I'm going to go with a fictional character. Ooh, out of the box. I love people to think out of the box. How do you know it? That's a fictional character is American.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Because his name is Captain America. Oh, no. Yeah. Great back. Woo! Dang. Okay. Referee, is there anything wrong with a fictional character?
Starting point is 01:01:10 I don't see why not. He is Americana. It's pop culture. I give it to him. What I'm talking about. Who do you have on your team, Eddie? George Washington, Taylor Swift, Captain America. Beautiful.
Starting point is 01:01:22 You guys have some solid team. Red, white, and blue right there. I'm really happy with my team. Ramundo. I want to cross over into a woman, but I'm just going to stick with an easy one. Chuck Norris. It's not bad.
Starting point is 01:01:34 American. I mean. All right. Let me go to my team. It's probably a good one. All my people are from like 1,300. Who's on your team so far? I've got Christopher Columbus's ship captain.
Starting point is 01:01:49 His name is Pedro. My last one's easy. It's Tom Hanks. Good one. I'm surprised Eddie didn't do that. I know. I had him a list. Yeah. I'm a real turd. Okay. Lunch, let's go.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Amy has Abe Lincoln, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, and Jeff Bezos. Lunchbox has Garth Brooks, Oprah, Walt Disney. Love it. Eddie has George Washington, Taylor Swift, Captain America. Yeah. Ramundo has Martin Luther King Jr., Mr. Rogers, and Chuck Norris. I have Thomas Jefferson, Ronald, Reagan and Tom Hanks.
Starting point is 01:02:22 I got two Tombs on my team. You too. Like in me, I'm tombing it up over here. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. Another big moment from the year was with me. I went on a date with a listener, PhD, Peter, and Eddie can attest the fact that it was very uncomfortable for me. It was great, yes.
Starting point is 01:02:43 I mean, the whole thing was weird, and I know that you were very, I would say you would probably be a little upset about it, right? Yeah, a little bit. fun to be set up? No, not really. And especially not on a national radio show. I'm a guy calling into the show. So this was a viral moment because everybody really likes to see what happens in my dating life. So here's this. PhD Peter is on the phone. Yeah, I think we just have him to tell his side of the story. Okay, do we put her in isolation? Yes. Okay. Morgan number two, to the isolation chamber you go. Morgan number two went on a coffee date with PhD Peter yesterday. And Mike D. and his
Starting point is 01:03:22 friend went too. And so you sat with him the whole time, Mike. Yeah, hop on her mic. Okay. She's gone. Hop on her mic. Yes, I sat with him the whole time. And what were you, what was your, you thought it was okay? I mean, I didn't feel awkward, but I wasn't the one on the first date. Yeah. Here is Peter right now. PhD Peter. Peter, how are you, bud? Hi, Bobby, good morning. So, are you back in California or are you still in Nashville? Yeah, I am. I'm, I'm in California. Are you British now? Why do you have an accent? No, I just talk, buddy, Bobby.
Starting point is 01:03:56 Okay, okay. So you met up with Morgan number two yesterday, but you were there with Mike D and his girlfriend, too, right? Yes, I was. Seeing Morgan in person, it was, you know, your heart jumps in your throat. She's gorgeous and even better than you in person. She's not in the room right now.
Starting point is 01:04:18 We've put her in the isolation with, so she can't hear what you're saying. How did you feel it when? The date, I really enjoyed talking with her. You can't get enough time with Morgan, I don't think. Did you feel that went well? You know, you traveled all the way across the country to go out with her. I didn't go just to go on the date with Morgan,
Starting point is 01:04:40 but that was definitely the added bonus of the trip to Nashville. I would love a second date, that's for sure. Were you nervous leading up to it? Oh, my God, yeah, I was sweating. Yeah, my heart just. in my throat. What were you wearing? What was it wearing? Yeah, like, how do you dress for a first coffee date? Oh, good question. I just dress normal.
Starting point is 01:05:02 What's normal for you? T-shirt, button-up shirt, t-suito, like, I don't know. Yeah, I usually wear jeans a button-up shirt. Okay. Normal. Casualty did you wear a hat, no hat? No hat. Amy, what would have done good? What should I've worn? Oh, it sounds fine. Jeans and a button-up is totally fine. How long did the date last to you? It went pretty quick.
Starting point is 01:05:29 Okay. Like, I don't know what's that mean pretty quick. Like, five minutes, half hour? You know, we had, you know, tea and coffee. And it was so fun having Mike D. and Kelsey there. And by the way, y'all, I think you got to get ready to that wedding because Kelsey is spectacular. Mike's a lucky guy.
Starting point is 01:05:49 All right, all right. Okay. All right. And if you were to rate the date on how well you thought it went, one through 10, what would you rate it? I'd give it an eight. Oh, wow. Okay, so also, before you go on the date with her, do you come up with a lot of questions, or were you organically able to find questions and things to talk about?
Starting point is 01:06:09 No, it's just normal. Just a normal conversation. We got to learn about Morgan. You know, don't want to reveal too much, but it's fun to learn about her family and her being an aunt. and her pet ferret growing up I didn't know that she would have her pet parrot I didn't know either Yeah who knew she had a pet ferret
Starting point is 01:06:28 On the phone with us now is Ph.D. Peter who wanted to go on a day with Morgan number two How did it end? Like because it was just coffee tea And then all of a sudden y'all were talking And then, because you said it was pretty quick So how did it end? You know, it just, you know, it was kind of time to end
Starting point is 01:06:50 And so So did she just stand out and say it? She was going to her car. I walked to her car. She gave me a really nice head. And, yeah. Again, yeah. Mike, did you walk with them to the car?
Starting point is 01:07:06 No, we walked through our own car. I did not go see that. You should not go see that. Okay. Okay, okay, okay. Have you reached out to her since? Do you have her number even? Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:07:20 I don't. I guess my... I don't. Okay. All right. So he gives it an 8 out of 10. Hey, we're going to put him a hole for one second. He's just really fantastic.
Starting point is 01:07:30 Just a wonderful, wonderful person. I agree. You're right on there with that. All right, let's put him on hold. Is there any way we can put him where he... Can't hear? Yeah. We just got to hang up on him.
Starting point is 01:07:41 But then he could listen on the radio. But that's okay. He's two hours later. Oh, yeah, that's right. He'll just get it. Bye you. See ya. We can't interact, right?
Starting point is 01:07:49 But he can't, we can't put him on hold with music or something? Can we just put him on hold and have Abby talk in his ear the whole time? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, yeah. Abby can just talk to him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 01:08:02 So is he covered right now? Like, he's not able to hear. He's covered. Okay, let's bring in Morgan number two. She's walking back in the studio. Morgan number two, we asked him this question. We had him rate at one through ten, right? Is that the scale we give him?
Starting point is 01:08:15 Yes. He rated it. What would you rate it? Probably a four. Oh, wow. Oh, you think that's low? That's most of my first dates. They give me that score.
Starting point is 01:08:24 No, I'm saying compared to... Eight? Yeah. He gave it an eight. What, did he look like what you thought he was going to look like when you got there? I don't know. I didn't know what he looked like. You never looked him up.
Starting point is 01:08:36 Mike, did you know what he looked like? I thought we looked him up altogether. But you never looked at him. Oh, okay. What did you, Mike, did he look like what his picture looked like? Yeah, just like his picture. Yeah. And what did you guys talk about?
Starting point is 01:08:46 It really felt more like an interview than a conversation. So, um, I learned that he used to be a kindergarten teacher. He doesn't like snakes He asked if I wanted to have children Because we talked about our nieces and nephews And that's about all I really remember I feel like this we're in court right now It's so weird
Starting point is 01:09:11 He does not seem happy So this was a bust So Anybody laughing at it? This is awkward man But I love it How did he think it was so great? That's crazy, right?
Starting point is 01:09:26 And here's what it makes me think about myself, that I think I go on these dates and they're great, that they go home and they're like, it was miserable. All they want to know was about snakes. I mean, that's kind of proof that that does happen a lot. I mean, one person's like, this is spectacular, and the other person's like, never again. Oh, so you're not interested in going out with him again?
Starting point is 01:09:41 I am not. I think he was very nice and he was very polite. He was just, there just wasn't anything there. How tall is he? Probably like 6-2, 6-3. Oh, wow. He's very tall. He has a 5-6 voice.
Starting point is 01:09:54 And he's 6-2? But maybe to Morgan he seems six to too because she's How tall are you 5'0? Mm-hmm. So but he was, did you all talk kite? Like you know? No, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:04 That wasn't a big topic. So I'll tell you. Listen, I've been on those days too. I'm like, how about that weather? It's cold out there, right? For sure. I mean, like, I had to debate to wear sleeves or not to this date.
Starting point is 01:10:14 I weighed myself three times today. Oh, man. Okay, so she gives it a, it's, Raymond. He can't hear, right? He's still not here. Oh, man. No. Just hang out.
Starting point is 01:10:23 How are you going to break it to it? Just hang up and I think we never talk to him. No, no, no, seriously. We have to hate. No, no, no, no. Just let him move on with his life. There doesn't need to be closure. There doesn't need to be.
Starting point is 01:10:34 It's just over the way. No, this is a person. There's feelings. We have to handle this delicately and maturely. So he just needs to know. We tell him, but in the nice way. Okay, you tell him. I know I can tell them.
Starting point is 01:10:45 Don't put him on hold yet. I can tell him. Oh, man. And listen, I've done this segment on the year two where I went out with people that Lunchbox set me out blindly with and Amy set me up blindly with. Didn't go the best for me either.
Starting point is 01:10:57 It's not... No, and one time one of the girls she had my phone number and then I... It did not go well and then she kept contacting me and I was like, what is happening? I need to change my phone number.
Starting point is 01:11:07 I don't know that I knew that. Yeah, I was probably sparing you from the details that I almost set you up with a crazy person. Okay, so Ramoendo, we can put him back on the phone. There he goes.
Starting point is 01:11:20 All right, he's up. All right, he's up. Ph.C. Peter? you there, bud? Hi, Bobby. So it doesn't seem, after talking to both of you, that there's supreme compatibility, which is what would have to happen for you to live in California and her to live in Tennessee. You know?
Starting point is 01:11:40 Right. I think, you know, it's a tragic love affair in that sense. It's a tragic love affair. An interesting concept. I would say that's not what it is. Okay. What happened? Well, I don't know if Morgan No. 2 can hear him.
Starting point is 01:11:53 She doesn't have headphones on. Oh, do you want to hear Morgan No, 2? Are you good? Okay. She's okay. She doesn't want to hear. Um, so she can't hear you. But I, we don't think that this is going to be a love affair or a connection, but she did say you were really nice and tall and you came prepared. I, that's very, I like, I appreciate hearing that. Yeah. Thank you. That's very nice. Anything you would like to say in your exit interview? I think more than it's a great touch. I think her future husband will hit the jackpot. And I think he'll know how lucky he is.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Look at this guy. He's saying eventually she'll find a husband. I mean, it's true. It's a true thing. And I mean, she probably thinks the same thing about you finding a wife. It's just you weren't, I mean, it didn't work out. But she said he were really nice, dude. And tall.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Let me not forget. You're tall. And you're really smart. How tall are you, Peter? Thank you, Lord, Scott. I'm not that tall. How tall are you? Six one.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Okay, that's accurate. That's what she was guessing. Yeah. Oh, well, Peter, we're sorry it didn't work out. Do you feel like you learned anything from this? Oh, I learned, yeah, you got to wear love on your sleeve. Hey, that a boy. I appreciate y'all for doing this.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Morgan was just spectacular for agreeing to give it a try. So I'm very happy. Did you ask for a picture? Is that a proper way to end of date? Like, you're like, can I get a picture? Or like a selfie. No, but I will say that, you know, Mike D. and Morgan were recognized. Folks came up to us at the table.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Oh, yeah, Mike, people recognize you guys? Oh. Is that weird? Whenever you're trying to, like, do a date and people are like, hey. Just because you were trying to have a date? Yeah. All right, well, Ph.D., Peter, we appreciate you. Did they recognize you, Ph.D.?
Starting point is 01:13:45 Pete? Sorry, Amy? Did they know? Were they like, oh, you're Ph.D. Peter? I don't think so. Oh, okay. All right. Well, Pete, hope you have a great week.
Starting point is 01:13:55 we appreciate you. We sound like a nice guy and hopefully our pads will cross again soon. Good luck with love, bud. I look forward to it, Bobby. Thank you. Bye-bye. See you, Peter.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Oh, man, I hope he doesn't listen to the replay. Well, especially from last hour. But mostly people are just getting mad at Morgan. Yeah. Do you think, there are messages coming in and I'll ask you this, Morgan, do you think he was too nice and your style is just like not the real nice guy?
Starting point is 01:14:24 Like the bad boy type? No, I've had bad experiences with bad guys. It doesn't mean I like bad guys. I just have had bad experiences with bad people. I like nice guys. There just was no connection whatsoever there. What celebrity do you look most like? Mike, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:14:44 Well, they're struggling. Sometimes it's hard to think of. You can just make up anybody, though, we'll agree with it. Like a young Matthew McConaughey. Oh, wow. What? Wow. I wouldn't agree with that one.
Starting point is 01:15:00 I'll date him? Yeah. I don't think I would agree with that one. No? All right. Well, there we go. The conclusion is it was not a love connection, but it wasn't because we tried.
Starting point is 01:15:12 Definitely not. Tried. All right. Amy, anything you want to say on the out here? I just think we're a good sport, Morgan number two. Morgan number two, anything you'd like to say? I would like to pick my own dates moving forward. That's a good method.
Starting point is 01:15:32 Why is it awkward? Okay. What are we doing next? We're done. I don't know. I'm just going home. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. And we can't round out the year without mentioning the Pocky Hot Chip Challenge.
Starting point is 01:15:49 Someone on the show had to eat the hottest chip in the world. And let's just say, lunchbox, it went really well for all of us besides somebody. So make sure you listen to this. and don't eat the hot chip or do and share videos with us. The Bobby Bones Show. Are you already eating a heartburn pill lunchbox? Yep. Just in case?
Starting point is 01:16:07 Got my thumbs. Tums? That's like my dad. I eat three of them. We're ready to do the, is it called Pecky? Pocky? Yes, sir. One chip challenge, the Carolina Reaper Sicilian Heat.
Starting point is 01:16:20 We've had so many people tell us this is a bad idea. But we have a chip here that cost me $13? $13, $14. Okay. So what we're going to do is we have everybody's name on a wheel. We're going to... Oh. What, you can smell it already?
Starting point is 01:16:36 They say once you open it, it burns your nostrils. Oh, yeah. Does it really? Round one, a spicy punch to the tongue. Round two, a fiercely jab to the face. Wait, what? Dude, do we have to eat a bite? Impaired vision from tears.
Starting point is 01:16:48 Okay, stop it. A low blow to the gut. Round 5, K.O. One chip challenge. You versus the Reaper. Everyone's names on a wheel. If I spin it in Atlanta, on your name you're off the wheel oh do you eat a bite or the whole chip oh
Starting point is 01:17:02 it's the it's a bite the chip the whole chip okay three two one let's go oh my gosh come on please please Eddie Eddie Eddie Morgan number two is off okay oh my gosh I really can't do this it's not good oh I'm so heavy I can't that feels so good okay I really hate spicy things oh calm down Morgan Bones, you want to hear something messed up? No one likes a bright. I brought cum-pow chicken for lunch. I hope I don't get this.
Starting point is 01:17:36 Oh, come on me. On the board still. Raymundo, Mike D, Scoobo Steve, Bobby, Amy, lunchbox, and Eddie. Oh, come on. Oh, I'm so scared. The last one remaining has to eat the chip. I'm not, I'm praying.
Starting point is 01:17:50 Here we go. Let's spin that wheel. Around, around, around it goes where it stops. Nobody knows. Come on. Oh, Amy. I wasn't even, I couldn't even look. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:18:05 Odds are starting to dwindle. This is just, this is not good. Oh my gosh, I'm starting to get scared. All right, I think I've peeled all the Amy's off. I'm starting to shake. Yeah, me too. This is not good. Lunchbox Eddie, Raymondo, Mike Dio, Scoop of Bobby.

Bones, I said a little prayer while you were spinning it. Lunchbox, it's landed on everybody around you. No, I get that, Amy. That's a bad sign.
Starting point is 01:19:15 It's like a lottery ticket when you have all the numbers at the top and then it's like, your number is 23, and then you scratch and you get 22, you know you're not going to win. Oh, my gosh. They put all the numbers around you. I'm nervous now. Yeah, you should be. I am shaking.
Starting point is 01:19:26 I've already had three tums. So, I'm saying he's got mill. I got milk, I got yogurt, I got it all. So you know it's you then? I mean, I'm not taking any chance. You're ready, dude. Come on. Hey, you're ready, dude.
Starting point is 01:19:40 Yeah, I don't know what you guys are going to. People that are off the wheel, like freely talking, having fun. I'm nervous too, bud. I'm nervous too. Who's left bones? Ramundo, Mike D. Scoobba Bobby Lunchbox. The odds are starting to dwindled. Guys, this is getting so close to us being the one.
Starting point is 01:19:54 Scuba Steve is shaking his head in disbelief. I'm going to throw up. My heart is like pounding through my chest right now. Me too. I'm super nervous. Alright, here we go. Let's spin that wheel! Come on. Whale gods, wheel gods, get me.
Starting point is 01:20:10 Get me, wheel gods. There we go. We got one. Scuba. Oh, my gosh. Scoom. Bobby. Thank you, Bobby. Bobby.
Starting point is 01:20:18 Bobby Mike Deeray lunch box. Let's go. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I always lose these stupid challenges with the wheel. Are the bosses not losing? They don't want to call and cancel this? They're okay with it. We're going to take a break.
Starting point is 01:20:29 I'm good. We got to fix the wheel. Only four people remain And I'm one of them This sucks Oh, this is awful Up on It's Lunchbox
Starting point is 01:20:36 Me Mike D or Raymundo Has to eat the chip Yeah Look at Scoba clapping now You guys that got off the wheel Are such good mood I hate hot food
Starting point is 01:20:45 I'm so excited Thank you It's a great feeling To be off the wheel Okay Coming from the Bass Pro Shops And Cabella Studio On Music Road
Starting point is 01:20:53 The Bobby Bone show Lunchbox has his hands In his mouth I'm scared I love it We have this really hot chip The One Chip Challenge cost $15 for one chip. It says you versus the Reaper.
Starting point is 01:21:04 It's the hottest chip they make in the world. You have to eat it. There are four people left on the wheel. One of us is going to have to eat it. Hotest chip in the world. Mike D. Bobby, lunchbox, and Raymondo. This is the way I go out. You think you die from this?
Starting point is 01:21:17 Yeah. The Reaper, dude. You can't die from this. We got to take a break, but do it one spin before the break? Yes. One spin now? Yeah, let's go. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:21:25 Give me off that wheel. Give me off that wheel so I can suppress comfortably in this break. Let's spin that wheel. Come on, baby. Come on. Come on. Oh, come on. Oh, oh.
Starting point is 01:21:38 I'm off the wheel. I'm off the wheel. Good job. This is the greatest bid ever. I'm telling you. Doesn't it feel good? Oh, my goodness. It went right past lunchbox's name and landed on mine.
Starting point is 01:21:53 Oh, my goodness. Baby, baby, baby. Oh, you're unbelievable. Oh. You're like a medley now. Woo! Oh, I feel so good. Yeah, it's awesome.
Starting point is 01:22:06 Every, it's been by my name. Lunchbox, it was right on yours. I know, it's been the story of the wheel. Baby, baby! I even had to talk with his wheel before the show. Okay, we're going to take a quick break. We're going to come back. Somebody's going to eat a chip.
Starting point is 01:22:21 It ain't going to be me. Lunchbox, Ramundo, Mike D. You're all on the board. Ramundo, how do you feel? You? He's scared. He's terrified. I'm terrified.
Starting point is 01:22:35 I'm terrified. Mike D. In lunchbox, you have your milk and tums. I don't know it's destiny, guys. This is starting to hurt. You think it's destiny that you're going to lose? Yeah, like, the way it's been landing on every space by my name just tells me that it's just teasing me like, oh, we think you're going to get off. No, you're not going to get off.
Starting point is 01:22:51 But no one else came prepared like him. Like, we're just like, it's not going to be us. He came with milk, yogurt, tums. Like, he expected it to be him. You manifested it. I know how the wheel works, guys, and you've got to be prepared. You know, you got to stay ready, never get ready, something like that. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:23:06 I think Bobby says that. Next. Be prepared. Opportunity meets destiny. I don't know. There are only three people left. By the way, we started and everybody was on it. I was on it.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Amy, Morgan number two, Eddie. We've all, scuba Steve, we've all, at random, been taken off the wheel. Thank goodness. Yeah, lunchbox. Can I pay someone to get back on the wheel on my spot? How much you offering? A thousand? I'll give you a hundred bucks.
Starting point is 01:23:30 I mean, that's how bad I don't want to do this. Eddie? No. I'll do it for five. But you have to think it's just to get on the wheel. You don't have to guarantee your spot. Just take my swall in the wheel for $100. Like, I mean, Eddie, will you take his offer?
Starting point is 01:23:42 That's $100, Eddie. Oh, Amy, you want to do it? Amy, I'll give you $100, Amy. Amy, I'll give you $100. Why do you have four kids? I can definitely use the money. Okay, no takers. All right.
Starting point is 01:23:53 I hate you guys. Are you making a $500 that we said? No, no, I said, I hate you guys. Oh, I thought you said it. $500, I'll do it. No, I don't have $500 give. I don't, I don't know how it feels. I know how it feels.
Starting point is 01:24:03 feels. Chip got my tongue, guys. Chip got my tongue right now. The Pocky hottest chip in the world. No fear. One chip challenge. It says the Reaper shows no mercy. Yeah. Do not eat if you're sensitive to
Starting point is 01:24:19 spicy foods. Allergic to peppers. There's a lot of warnings on that. Too much to read. There are three people left. Lunchbox, Ray Mundo, on Mike D. Let's spin that wheel. All right, think positive. Positive. Positive thoughts. Positive results. Positive results. Positive thoughts, positive results.
Starting point is 01:24:36 Come on. Oh, baby. Rainbow knows off to Leo. Wow. Wow. This is amazing. Lunchbox. This is amazing.
Starting point is 01:24:52 500? I was taking tombs to run the break. It's like he knew it. He knew what's going to happen. Now the problem is. the problem. There are only so many spots. I know. We're going to have some empties, but I guess that's the fun of it, huh? Yeah. There's nothing fun about it.
Starting point is 01:25:17 Okay, let's go to our people. There are two guys remaining. Lunchbox and Mike D. Lunchbox, how do you feel? 50% chance you're eating the chip? Man, this is just awful. This is, like, this is so awful. Like, I feel so terrible. I'm shaking. I've already had
Starting point is 01:25:34 tons. I've got yogurt and milk. And when this bit was brainstormed, a lot of on the air, I was like, crap, this is going to be me. And here we are, and we're down to two people, and I'm on that stupid wheel, and I am so upset. And I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, and I hate it, I hate it. Oh, my God, Mike Lee, go ahead. We have a quote from lunchbox, we're talking about this a few days ago.
Starting point is 01:25:58 This is the greatest bet I've heard of in years. I cannot wait to watch someone eat this chip. He said that? Yeah. Interesting. Mike D., how do you feel? The thing is, I'm the one who ordered the chip, and when I ordered it, I was like, I have a feeling I'm going to end of having to eat this. You ordered your own demise.
Starting point is 01:26:11 I think I did this to myself. Okay, two people left. Mike, you want to take my spot on the wheel? How much you offer now? 100 bucks. Nobody wants it. Come on, dude. Well, hey, Ramunda, you just got off the wheel.
Starting point is 01:26:22 You want 100? 200. Here we go. Last, that's it, the end. Let's spin that wheel. How are we doing it? Whoever it lands on has to eat it? No, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:26:37 We're not changing rules now. No. But lunch. No, no, no, no. Whoever lands on is off the wheel. I'm not changing. I'm not messing with karma right now. You do not mess with production.
Starting point is 01:26:48 Like karma. This isn't karma. What you do to get karma? You don't change the rules. Okay, so if you wanted to land on you. Yeah, but if it lands on Mike D, we'll go to that other way. No, no. Same rules apply.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Here we go. Oh my gosh. Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, spin it as hard as you can. Don't do light spin. Do big spin like you're on the, like on. Price is right. Price is right. The big wheel.
Starting point is 01:27:07 Let's go. Let's spin. We'll! Let me on one dollar. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, please, please, please, please, please, please. Oh, oh. My dear!
Starting point is 01:27:22 Yeah! This is amazing. We gave him a chance. This is so weird. Everybody in the classroom threw their arm in the air like they just want to race. How does it play out like this? And we spun it all live. You can watch it.
Starting point is 01:27:53 The glass room's going crazy. I mean, lunchbox, you had an opportunity to switch it. To switch how the results were going to end up. What are you getting out? He's getting ready. He brought everything with him.
Starting point is 01:28:08 I mean, you made this happen. You do realize that. How does this happen? Nice. Can you believe it? No, I can't believe it. Why does it play out perfectly?
Starting point is 01:28:18 I feel like now if people want, want something they just show up ready, you know. It don't happen. Lunchbox has his hand on the milk. He's undoing the milk. Gloves on? Like winter gloves? Would you mind holding the chip up so we can see it?
Starting point is 01:28:34 Don't spill that. No, no, the actual chip. Hold on. He's mad. He's not even talking. Got your tongue? Sorry, Chip got your tongue? That's what he said earlier.
Starting point is 01:28:44 Chip got my tongue, y'all. Amy's opening the box. Dammy don't touch it. Be careful. Amy, be careful. It's burning my nose already, he says. Oh, come on. It's not bad. Okay, then eat it. She's gagging. All right. Eat the chip.
Starting point is 01:29:01 Eat the chip. Eat the chip. What? That is hot. You haven't even, put it. I can smell it. I'm just telling you. Eat the chip. Eat the chip. Eat the chip. Okay. We're counting down. In 19.
Starting point is 01:29:17 What? 100. I don't understand this. Final thoughts. How does that happen? Final thoughts. I could have changed the dang rules, but no, I wanted to stick with them. Karma, you said.
Starting point is 01:29:28 We told you. So do you think karma in the end won? The worst year. Yes, you're right. You're crediting this to 2020? You're right, man. You know what this is? This is, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:29:45 This is what? It's just. It's a problem with America. It is. It's a problem with America. Like, the good people get punished. Like, oh. You're not.
Starting point is 01:29:53 You must to recount the boats? Okay. Are you ready? We're going to count him down. He's got the chip in his hand. Wait, is the plan for, you're just going to put the whole thing in your mouth? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:30:05 There's no dang away. Oh, you're not. Wait a minute. What are you going to do? I'm going to take a bite, and I'm going to see how bad it is so I can cry, and then I'll do some more. Okay?
Starting point is 01:30:12 I mean, it is burning. You're going to prolong the pain. Makes sense. Five, four, three, two, one. There he goes. He bites the chip. Chew it. Chew it.
Starting point is 01:30:23 Oh, my God. Chew it. Chew it. The milk. There you go. Don't spit the chip in the milk. I'm not spit. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:30:29 You got half of the chip left? Got it. You got half the chip left. You got half the chip left? You're going to drink all that milk? I have to. He's going to town on the milk right now. Gross.
Starting point is 01:30:42 Eat the rest of the chip. Just get it over with, though. Hurry. I don't know if I can eat the whole chip. You got it. You got it. Eat the chip. Eat the chip.
Starting point is 01:30:47 Eat the chip. Eat the chip. Eat the chip. Eat the chip. Just eat the chip and get over with. Now he's going to yogurt with his hand. Oh, could we get him a spoon? How much of the chip is left?
Starting point is 01:31:02 About half. Okay. Guys, that's really bad. Oh, my God. He's got milk on his mustache. Get it over with, got milk. Just get it over with. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:31:12 I'm trying. It's on fire. Put it in your mouth. Go. It's easy for you to say. Go fast. Get the chip. Eat the chip.
Starting point is 01:31:20 Eat the chip. Eat the chip. Come on lunchbox. You got it. There he goes. No. No, don't bite it. Just get it.
Starting point is 01:31:25 He took another bite. Oh. So, guys, this is... To do the yogurt. He's sticking his bare hand into a thing of yogurt. I don't understand. Four fingers. Shove your into his mouth.
Starting point is 01:31:35 Gosh, somebody that's super professional just asked what I did, and I think today's the first day they're going to listen to the shell. And I was like, they're like trying to understand what I do. And I'm like, oh, we just, we talk. A little positivity. We're positive. You know, talk about our lives. Nothing crazy. About a quarter of the chip left.
Starting point is 01:31:55 Guys, this is awful. He's got yogurt on his nose. There is. Final part of the chip. He did it. He's now all the way in with the chip. Ow. He's just turning us on lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:32:07 He's like the hottest chip ever. He lost a game. That is the worst thing I've ever done. Is it the worst thing ever? Maybe not, but it's pretty dang bad. I mean, what would you put up there is something close to being this bad? Going to jail.
Starting point is 01:32:20 That's pretty bad. He did go to jail on the show once. He's drank about half that liter of milk. Oh, it's so awful. God. He's drinking more milk. All right, well, I think we've
Starting point is 01:32:33 okay. We'll check back with them later. So what do you want to do with that other chip? Oh, we have a second one. Why? In case something happened with that one. Or if you guys want to spin the wheel again, tough guys. Oh.
Starting point is 01:32:43 Would you get back on it? Yes, get back on it, though. Okay. Tomorrow. Okay. We're all back on and I'll go again. Just for you guys to feel this freaking pain. With yogurt all over.
Starting point is 01:32:53 his face. Oh gosh. I can't. The bit was going to be, we were going to call it chip roulette, where you take a full bag of chips and everybody had to reach in to grab one chip. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:33:05 That's crazy. I can't move that in the bathroom. It may not be for today or tomorrow, but it's still sitting there. Bones, that was a great bit, man. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Lunchbox. Great job, buddy.
Starting point is 01:33:19 He's still drinking milk. We'll check back in later and see how he's feeling. Anything you want to say? Guys, don't buy these chips. You know what? Give them to your friends for Christmas. It's terrible. God, that's awful.
