But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. It would not be...
Starting point is 00:01:05 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. What is up, everybody? Happy weekend. Another Best Bits is here, and another Best Bits is here. And Another Best Bits, Part one. This weekend, Abby is joining me. What's up, Abby? What's up? we got some things to talk about because it's been a minute since you've been on here. I know. And I need an update.
Starting point is 00:02:11 We are going to dive right in. So number seven, Ramundo asked about hanging out with Amy's reverse husband. And it all transpired on air. But that's not what I'm going to talk about. I need an update on the movies you've watched since the last time we were on here. Because I think you have watched some. I have watched some. But then I also let you down one that I said I was going to watch.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Your favorite one? Ready Player. one. Yes. I completely forgot. Dang. And I remember that this morning. I was like, oh my gosh, she's gonna kill me. No, but you know what? No, this is improvement because last, the last several times it was like, no, I haven't watched anything. This time you have watched things. Yeah, I have a little list here. Okay, let's give the update. Okay, so I watched Pacific Rim. Loved it. I did. Remember, I texted you. I texted you. And I was like, oh, my gosh, this is so good. And then you said something like, oh, I don't want to disappoint you, but I did fall asleep. Like, I think I was really tired because
Starting point is 00:03:03 it was actually really good. And then I was, I was. I was actually, I was. I was actually, I finished it a few days later. It was good enough for you to go back and finish it. So that's good. Yeah. I just really like the beginning. I loved it and I was like, I'm going to like this. Okay. So you do like sci-fi movies. Okay. This is good. Yes. This is a good. Okay. This is a good. Okay. This is a good. So now I need to watch the second one. Okay. It's like, I think, a specific room uprising. Yes. Something like that. I need to do that. Okay. But one is good. Yeah. We're taking our one win. Am I updating you on the other ones I watch? Yeah. Oh, yes. Okay. So all of them are Netflix. That's like really all I watch. kind of like I was looking at other ones because like last weekend I was like I just want to sit here and watch TV and so I was like looking I just couldn't find anything I really wanted but I watched the deepest breath on Netflix did you watch that? The deepest breath I've not seen that what's it about it's about like a free diver and they're trying to like get the record oh that's really dangerous. Is it like a documentary or is it yes okay but it's like really dangerous I mean because you're you're switching the altitude yeah and I don't know it just surprise me. The ending was very surprising. I'm not going to spoil it. Okay, so, yeah, we don't
Starting point is 00:04:08 do spoilers. First of all, what do you rate Pacific Rim? Hmm? I would say, well, I'd say 3.5 out of five. And what are the big things called? Like the big, the big robots. Yeah, robots, yeah, I guess. What called robots? I think they have a name, but I forgot already. Yeah. And I think I was just tired, and so, I don't know, because I fell asleep. Okay. And what do you give this deepest breath. I'd say four oceans. Okay. I guess.
Starting point is 00:04:39 And it is a like true story. Yes. Okay. It's really good. Deepest breath. River Wild. I really like that one. I like thriller, like action kind of like scary.
Starting point is 00:04:51 It's about they're like floating down the river on a raft. And I don't want to give these away. Oh, wow. I'm going to talk. Wait. It looks like it was a. Hold on. Um, was it a remake?
Starting point is 00:05:05 No. River Wild? Yeah, I think it is a remake. Of what? Yeah, the River Wild, 1994. Well... Oh my gosh, it is. It says a surprising remake of the Nighter.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Wait, rafting expert, Gail takes a pair of armed killers while navigating a spectacular violent river. Is that true? Yes. Yeah, it's a remake. Merrill Streep was in the original one. No way. And Kevin Bacon.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Well, it was very good. Okay, but now I want to watch the begin. Oh my gosh, there is the original. Okay, so you like the remake of it. Yeah. Love it. I love those types of movies. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Like the hostage kind of situation. Excuse me? You like hostage situations? I'm not sure we should admit that. Yeah. Like taking any of those movies that you're like, what's going to happen? Okay. Because you know what's going to.
Starting point is 00:05:52 They usually end up good, right? That's fair. I mean, usually. So that's probably why I feel that way. So I'm like, oh, this has to end up good. Yeah. That's fair. But I really loved it.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Okay. I'd give that, well, four and a half out of five. Okay. Raffes. Four and a half. All right. All right. So we got three.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Hey, the fact that you have even watched three, potentially four movies. Very proud. This is great. Why was your other one? So I watched nonstop. And it has, what's his name from Taken? Oh, Liam Neeson? Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Okay. I just really didn't like it. I watched probably over an hour of it. And I was like, when is, it's just kind of kept going in circles. And I was like, is something going to happen? Like, nothing. thing, there was no resolve. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I was like, let's just go. No, that's fair. Sorry, I got distracted because Scuba is like yelling in the other room and I'm like, oh crap, is it coming through on the thing? Between lunchbox and Scuba, these two have the loudest voices ever and it blends, like, bleeds through the walls. The walls do nothing for their voices. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Okay. But, so not that one. What would you rate that one? It was from 2014. Probably two out of five airplanes. Okay, yeah, not good. Yeah, no. I didn't even finish it.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I was like, I gotta just turn it off. Usually I try to watch all the way through just to like say I did, but I was like, what's happening? So. Okay. So no more of that one. Nope.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And then the last one was show girls, but because we had to. That was dumb. It was the stupidest movie I've ever watched. Yes. Like, I don't know why I kept watching. It's like I said. It was like a train wreck.
Starting point is 00:07:23 It was like watching a train wreck and you're just like can't look away. Yes. It's very much how I felt the whole movie. Exactly what it was. And I was like, I can't believe it. I barely watch a movie. and I sat two hours through that thing. Wasn't it two hours?
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yeah, I think he should have gotten a pillory for that, just my opinion. That's what I thought. Because I'm like, he said if it was on purpose, if you purposely gave a bad movie, and you know that no one's going to like that. Yeah, he went in knowing that people wouldn't like it. Yes. But, you know, whatever. I did watch some more sci-fi movies that are, some are interesting.
Starting point is 00:07:53 So I had never seen Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise and, oh gosh, what's her name? What's her name? She's the one that's married to John Krasinski. Emily Blunt. Oh, yes. And it was really good. Great sci-fi movie. Also kind of in the same realm of Pacific Rim.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Really? But a little bit more alien. Like, if alien invaded, this is what it looked like, and that would be crazy. That would be so crazy. Ooh, I would think I'd like that same. Yeah. Yeah, but also kind of scary. Because if this actually happened, I would cry.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Oh, gosh. Wait, do they actually show, like, what aliens look like, the figures? Or it's just more about... figure of you would think, but yes, there's an alien. There's aliens in this. And it was good. So what I ended up doing is I watched Ready Player One again. And then it was like all these movies you would like if you like Ready Player One.
Starting point is 00:08:39 So I literally went through and watched almost all of them that it suggested. Really? I told you, I was on like a sci-fi bender. I wanted to watch everything. So Edge of Tomorrow was one. Great. I'd give it three and a half out of five memory taps. Wait, it was great, but only three and a half?
Starting point is 00:08:58 Yeah, it was good. I just like, I, you know, I start to reserve my fours and five. Okay, yeah. For like movies where I'm like, oh, my gosh, I'm going to watch that on repeat. This one I actually would watch on repeat. Like, if it was on TV, I'd watch it. But I wouldn't choose to watch it on repeat. Does that make sense?
Starting point is 00:09:14 Yeah, yeah. So that's why it's a 3.5, but 3'5 is strong for me. Okay. I watched Valeran, Valerian, it's with Kara Delavine, and it was so bizarre. It was so bizarre. Really? I did like it. It was called, yeah, it's called Valerian in the city of a thousand planets.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Oh, what's it on? These are all on Max. Oh, okay. Because Max has great sci-fi stuff. I was going to see what it was on, on Rotten Tomatoes, because I'm really curious. Yeah, I don't know if it was good. It's always fun to look at Rotten Tomatoes. Yeah, yeah, the audience score was 53%.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Oh, wow. It wasn't, I wouldn't see that it was bad. It was definitely a fun movie to watch for a sci-fi when I didn't really care. but it definitely was trying to be avatar mixed with Star Wars. Oh, really? And I love both of that. Like, I love everything sci-fi. So I think that's why I enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:10:09 But it's definitely not one where I'm like, oh, yeah, I suggest you go watch it. It's more like if you don't have anything to watch, you're a big sci-fi fan. You'll probably get some enjoyment out of it. Okay. But it wasn't like, oh, my gosh, this movie's amazing. Definitely interesting. It was definitely an interesting. Like, it entertained me.
Starting point is 00:10:26 So it's not bad. And then I watched Lucy with Scarlett Johansson. Oh, yes. How was that? It was really good. Okay. I actually really liked it. And I don't know how that one did on Rotten Tomatoes either, but I really liked it because I love
Starting point is 00:10:42 Scarlet Johansson. And I feel like she acted so well in this movie. Like she's just such a like levels above so many actress. And in this movie, her being the lead role, like she just crushed it. That's awesome. And it was super interesting. She gets like all these. massively crazy superhuman powers and she's like stupid smart.
Starting point is 00:11:02 It has kind of a really vague ending, which I never love when they do that. But like you kind of, it's implied kind of what's happening. You think they do that so there can be a sequel or not? I think sometimes they do. I don't think this one was. I think it was just like more like, no, she just, this is just what had to happen. Oh. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:11:22 Yeah, I know what you mean. So. You're like, oh, I need more. If I had to put them in order to watch again, Edda Tomorrow, Lucy. and Valorin, the city of a thousand planets. Didn't you start watching, like, The Matrix? I saw in your story. I thought about it.
Starting point is 00:11:35 You know, I didn't because 60% of people said no. Oh, why? But how is it so popular? Like, how is it? I think a lot of people like the first one. Oh. The reason I even wanted to watch, because I wanted to watch the new one.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Mm-hmm. And so many people were like, the first one is really the only good one. Oh. And I'm like, well, that's like in 1999. And like, sure, I would watch it, but the whole reason I'm watching is going I can watch a new one. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:12:00 So I was like, I don't feel like this isn't worth my time investment to watch four Matrix movies. You would watch them all at once, though? Yeah. Can you break it down? I always binge it. This is what I do. I don't know how you do that.
Starting point is 00:12:10 This is what I do. I do like a straight binge because, like, I have this thing with do lists. And if, like, there's a movie series that I have, it feels like a to-do list to me where I'm like, okay, I have to complete it or it's not finished. Yeah. And I don't like things being unfinished.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Oh, so you. you watch it all in one day? Like that was your plan for that day. You were going to... Like, Friday night I stay in. I'll watch as many as I can until I'm going to fall asleep. And then the next day, I'll be like, okay, I have to watch this. Like, I'll go work out and then I'll come back and I'll watch it. I'll make a point. Like, that's my next thing on my to do list. Oh my gosh. You need to start texting me like that you're live as you're watching them and like to inspire me to watch movies. To watch them. Yes. I don't know if I should inspire you to be a couch potato. Because I feel like that's what that inspires. I'm like, oh my gosh,
Starting point is 00:12:54 she's texting me again. She's always watching movies. I do. I do. I do. I I also want to start us off on a fun note. So I want to know your favorite song that has a sample of another song. Because there was this guy who released a little boo thing. It's from a guy named Paul Russell. And when I tell you, I'm obsessed with it. It samples a song that I actually hadn't heard before called Best of My Love from the Emotions. And when I tell you the song makes you feel so good, like you just feel like you're in such a good vibe.
Starting point is 00:13:24 That's what I'm going to play. And I'm going to try and play this like five seconds. Yeah. Look at five seconds and then here I'm talking. You know, get a little vibe going. See, like you feel the good vibes. Okay, okay, here we go. No, it is so catchy.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Right? Okay, have you been listening to it too? Yes, I see these. I see them on TikTok. Like the sounds come through. That's where mostly I hear these like fun sample things or whatever they're called. Yeah, and then they release the whole song and I'm like, yes, it's funly out. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:14:01 So this song is one where it has been on repeat. When I tell you, like, I learned the words in a day. Like, I was in my car, I was like, a little boo thing. Like, people would watch me. If you saw me the last 48 hours driving my car, I'm sorry. Because I was rocking out. Like, this song was such a vibe. Yes, it's so catchy.
Starting point is 00:14:19 So that's it. Little Boothing from Paul Russell. Do you have one? Boothing? Yes. Well, mine's related to the Barbie movie, and I just heard it the other day when I was driving. It's Barbie World, but it's Nikki Minaj, an ice spice. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:14:31 This is a great movie. So you remember the original. Oh, yeah. Aqua Girl. I'm a Barbie girl. In a Barbie World. Yeah, and this just adds like a whole other twist. And it's also catchy.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I don't think it's as catchy as that one. But like it still gets you. Oh, it's still a vibe though. Let me see like where it starts and I'll try it only play with it. Yeah, you got this. Boop. Will I go over? No, you're good.
Starting point is 00:15:00 We did good. We did good. You got it. Yeah. What is it called though? So it is, um, shoot. Okay. So it's Barbie World.
Starting point is 00:15:07 And then like in parentheses with Aqua. And then it says, it's like such a long title. Yeah, I don't know why it's a long title. But it is really good. Yes. It's on the Barbie movie soundtrack. Yeah, it says from Barbie the movie album. Okay, the album.
Starting point is 00:15:23 And like other parentheses. Got it. It is explicit. I will say that. Yeah, I was going to say, that's why when you started playing it, I was like, oh, I got to listen real quick and make sure. So I don't know. I don't know if the end said bad word.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I don't think so. I don't think so either. I don't think so quite yet. I don't know. They also rap so fast. going to tell us. Right. Yes. But it's okay. It's a podcast. We're okay. Yeah. Well, they can just play the rest. Yourselves. Under your own discretion. Yes. We added two new sample. So those are songs that sample another song, which has been really popular lately and I'm loving it. You know, I've also wondered,
Starting point is 00:15:54 I don't know if you know this. Do they have to get permission to do that? Well, they have to make whoever wrote that original song a writer. So I don't know about permission, but I think it's, I have seen artists like go and try and at least get the blessing or like you know I don't think they're legally required to though no but they are legally required to put them as songwriters on the song or like they're supposed to get credit like money credit from them sampling their song okay I just don't know what all that looks like right I always think of these things I'm like do they have to ask them and what if they don't want them to what if they say no you can't use it I mean it's possible like they could go back and be like no and like sue them but I think most people it's
Starting point is 00:16:37 art and they're like well you know somebody's creating art from my art that's pretty cool I don't know that's a lot of legal questions that I don't have answers to it is Morgan I thought you knew everything okay I don't I do not no these are the things that go through my head okay like I just always have questions no it's a good question and maybe we'll get a lawyer on that we'll answer some question if you're listening on I heart radio by the way you can talk back and if you're a lawyer listening to this or maybe you're in the industry and you have the answer to this question use the talk back feature on I heart radio and tell us what's happening so I can listen to it That'd be cool.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Yeah, that would be awesome. We did have Scoop of Steve come on and talk about how he went some parenting help because he's just been super emotional lately. His kids are growing up and it's been really hard on him. And that's, you know, I hope things get better and he doesn't feel as emotionally charged moving forward. I mean, that would be rough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Well, and it brings me to want to talk about this because I want to know if is there something you 100% believed was in your future. Like when you're a kid and you're like, this is definitely happening, I can't not see it happening. Like, this is going to be my life. And now we are grown adults. And you're like, holy crap, why did I think that? Why did I want that? What?
Starting point is 00:17:50 And you're like, not sure that that's going to happen. Is there anything that comes to mind for you? Like getting married and having kids? Is that what you're talking about? Well, the reason I ask is because, like, I remember growing up and, like, I have three older sisters. And so like, I was like, oh, I'm going to have four kids or have this massive family. But I always wanted an even number of kids, which don't ask me. And that was just like a thing.
Starting point is 00:18:15 And I was like, I'm going to have four children. And that will be my life. And I want that. And now, like, I'm here and I'm like, I don't think I want that. I maybe want one child. Maybe I want none. I don't know. But I sure as heck don't think I want four.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Yeah. You know, I just have this, like, such idea. painted of what my life was going to look like. Uh-huh. And it's so funny that it's just like, in ways it turned out exactly how I imagined it. And others, it's like, holy crap, what was I thinking? Uh-huh. So have you had that moment? Does it like inspire you? Well, probably one of mine was like, I thought when I was a kid, like I was going to have a like a gigantic house. Like I wanted the best, like a huge mansion. Like that was in my dream. I remember writing a song when I was a kid, like, stupid. But I was like, I want a mansion with a pool in the backyard. Like,
Starting point is 00:19:05 thought that would be my life and now I look at it and I'm like that is I wouldn't want that I don't want to live in this like gigantic house for one thing you have to furnish all of it and it's really expensive all of like the bills and everything and it's just like a huge undertaking and especially if you're like looking at houses in Nashville like sometimes I look because I'm in a town home and sometimes I'm like I want a standalone house you know and I'm like this is just like a lot for just me and I also thought like you know I'd be getting a house with my husband yeah and I'm like I guess I I'm just going to stay where I am until, you know, I can, the next place I move, I would like to be, like, married. I get it. Because that's kind of the thing. You know what I'm having this realization of? Did you play MASH growing up? I think MASH ruined us. It did.
Starting point is 00:19:52 That also, yes. We're, like, nice car, like, you know, convertible. It's like MASH. You're learning what your husband's going to be. The house you're going to have. The kids you're going to have. The car. It ruined us.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Yes. it made us think that that was supposed to be because I don't think in MASH like you ever had a career No it was never by your job Maybe on some level people started putting that in I can't remember entirely maybe maybe some people did maybe they didn't But I don't remember it being like oh yeah like MASH let's see what career you're going to have
Starting point is 00:20:24 It was like you're going to have children and this is a house you're going to have Yes it was all like very like super official It was like in the car you're going to drive The convertible so yes that's We all want the best, obviously. Yeah, MASH ruined us. Yep, it did. That's the literal realization I just had between the two of our stories.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yes. That it is all because of MASH. Like, it's like the white picket fence, you know? Like, I'm going to grow up to have that. I'm like, that's not a thing. No, but I would love a wraparound porch. Yes. I would love that.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Me too. It doesn't have to be white, but I would love a wraparound porch. That would be really cool in my life. That was one of the things that I wanted to ask you about. I'm glad I'm not the only ones. I've been having some interesting thoughts. You mentioned wanting to talk about The Bachelor? Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:08 So I actually watched the season of the Bachelor. The Bachelorette. The Bachelorette. Yes. And I thought it was a really good season. I don't know why I did. Usually it's too dramatic for me, but this one was actually like really good. And I loved her personality.
Starting point is 00:21:21 She was like very strong, like knew what she wanted in a relationship and she wasn't going to like change from that. I love that. Like she was just like if this isn't what you can give me, then we're done. And I was like, it just like empowered me a lot too, like in my life. because sometimes it's hard for me to communicate, like, what I need. And I was like, oh, my gosh, this is awesome. But anyway, so at the very end, like, they brought out at the final rose, they introduced
Starting point is 00:21:44 or they announced, like, the golden bachelor, and he's, like, 71. Yes, yeah, I've seen him. Is that, like, crazy? So is that, I know they also announced another bachelor. So. Yeah, so Joey. Yeah. He's going to be the new bachelor, which he's like 20.
Starting point is 00:21:58 He's in his 20s. Okay. He was the one that was the final two for, whatever her name is. This charity. Is that charity? Not charity. What's her name? Girl, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I've not been watching The Bachelor. I believe you, though. So there's like a regular Bachelor, but then they also introduce the Golden Bachelor. So are they going to happen at the same time? That's what I'm really not. Or is like the Golden Bachelor like a spin-off and it's its own separate show. I think Golden Bachelor is probably about to air soon. And so they're probably like recording about to start recording.
Starting point is 00:22:28 I may have to watch the Golden Bachelor. That just intrigues me so much. Well, me too. I just, I wanted to get your thoughts because I'm like, that's just wild. that we're used to watching 20-year-olds and now they're in their 70s. I know, but I'm so curious. Like, are they going to put 20-year-old girls on there? Like, is it going to be young girls?
Starting point is 00:22:42 Is it going to be girls closer to his age? Yes, because that would be weird if it was, you know. I mean, and it's very reality TV, right? Yeah. And he is a silver fox. Like, he's a very attractive man. That's why I hope they wouldn't do that. I hope they're just, like, going to go off of what he's looking for.
Starting point is 00:23:00 I don't know he's looking for. Maybe he is, but. I mean, maybe there's interesting. like 40s and 50s? Or do you think they're all in like 60s? Dang, I'm so, I'm just very curious. I haven't watched The Bachelor since I think, I think her name was like Trisha was on. Trisha.
Starting point is 00:23:16 I mean, that was like the first few seasons. Oh gosh, yeah. I had not watched. Yeah, I usually don't. I was just very intrigued by this one because I just like connected. I was like she was so mature. There wasn't any drama, like stupid drama that they usually bring in. You know, it was just like real badgers growing up.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Yeah, yeah. I think so. It was the Bachelorette. And then he seems like a really good guy, too. So I would think, yeah, hopefully they're trying to actually help these people find love. I know it's reality. But the new, the new Bachelor, not Golden Bachelor. The new Bachelor looks cute too.
Starting point is 00:23:48 Mm-hmm. Super cute. He's adorable. Yeah. But I think I'll watch the Golden Bachelor. Yeah, I'm intrigued. I at least may watch the premiere. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:57 To, like, see what it's about. That would just be, it's funny because he has, like, daughters, like grown daughters. just be very odd to watch your dad. I mean, his daughters have to be like in their 30s or 40s. Yes. It would just be odd to watch your dad on TV. I wouldn't like that. I wouldn't watch. That would be strange. That would be very strange. Were that weird? Anyway. Okay, well, we're going to take a quick break. Then we got more to talk about. Yes. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story.
Starting point is 00:24:33 This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Greg Alespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of The Girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man.
Starting point is 00:25:54 A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no, I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wadam. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network,
Starting point is 00:26:38 it's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice. ever. I went and had lunch with them one day and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point
Starting point is 00:27:08 where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay. to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Coming in at this number five spot this week, I get all weird talking about this because we had a little dating update situation. I should. ask some dating questions. It's so funny.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I knew some of the responses were going to be like, why is she like asking this? But, you know, I was just so curious on perspectives. The dating world has changed and shifted so much over the last 30 years in so many different ways. And I was just so curious what the show is going to say and what they think, you know, or am I online with them? If I'm more aligned with Gen Z in their response, like, you know, where do I fall? So it was just fun to get perspectives of like these very like, superiors.
Starting point is 00:28:16 surface level questions, you know? Yeah. And I feel like they, we don't really talk about like dating much on the show, like personal stuff. It's like answering mailbags or people that calling in, but not like relating to us. So like, you know, I thought it was funny and I wanted to know the answers that they were going to say too. Because I was like, oh, these are good questions, actually. I know. And I'm always willing to talk about my dating life. I don't know that if everybody is always willing to hear, but like I'm always willing to talk about it. Yeah. I mean, it's a big part of my life, like I'm going through it. It's pretty entertaining. There's a lot of interesting things that happen out there. And I would ask you the dating question right now,
Starting point is 00:28:54 but actually I asked you on it for questions. So we're going to save that and you guys have to go listen to Part 3. Yep. Because that's where Abby answered a dating question I had for her. Yes, that was a big question. The tease was in a podcast. Look at me. Oh, look at you. Teasing away. Well, not talking about dating because, yeah, we talked about it. on the show in this segment, but we also talked about it in the questions part.
Starting point is 00:29:19 But listen, Abby, I'm addicted to something. Okay. It's a problem. What? It's a problem. I downloaded a new game. When I was having my little sci-fi bender,
Starting point is 00:29:27 I downloaded a new game on my phone. And it's called Travel Town. Okay. And it's like, you have to collect all these things. Do you like to-do lists? Yes. And like marking things off. Oh, love them.
Starting point is 00:29:39 So this game is like a giant to-do list. You have all these things that you have to collect. And then, When you collect them, you get coins or you keep building the town. And when I tell you, I'm so addicted that I have spent $10 now on in-app purchases. Right. And I have never in my life spent in-app purchases money before. Normally, I'm like, that's ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Morgan, I don't spend that money. I got so addicted. I kept, I was like, no, I need to cross off the to-do list. What does it get you? What is the money buying you? It's all these little items. Like it buys me a little lightning. So you only get little lightning charges.
Starting point is 00:30:11 And that's how many times you can make moves on this, like, board to get your to-do list done. And when it runs out, you don't have any, then you have to wait until it recharges. But if you buy something, then you get it right away. And then you don't have to wait. That's awesome. It's such a funny. That's funny. I never play games and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:30:28 I know. And it's really fun. Like, it literally even shows you, like, these are all my collections. And it shows you how you have to keep collecting more. Oh. And then I want to collect everything. It's like one giant to do list that I have to keep marking off. Doesn't that stress you out?
Starting point is 00:30:41 I love it. Because you're someone that wants to get everything done right away. So don't you just want to sit there all. and be like, oh, I have to get this right now. It's a good control lesson for me. Okay. Except I literally can't spend any more money. It's really stupid that I haven't even spent $10 in there.
Starting point is 00:30:54 You max yourself out. Yeah, I can't do that anymore. But it's like really good for my brain to just like turn off and play a stupid game. Yes. Because I have Candy Crush and I have like a Harry Potter Candy Crush version that I was playing both of those for a long time. I kind of have like a game that I go to each time. And I had just bought a Nintendo Switch.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Mm-hmm. So I'm definitely in like my game. gaming sci-fire. I would totally like, legit. Because I love Ready Player 1 so much, if there was like a VR situation that happens and there's like a whole VR world like that, 100% I would be there. 100%. I love this.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Wait, do you play Calla Duty? No. I don't do like the real life. Like what Sims and Roller Coaster Tycoon used to be, that's what I like to do. So like if there's those type of things, I'm all about it. Not like killing people. No, I'm not very good at those games anyway. It also is just a lot.
Starting point is 00:31:49 And everybody's yelling at each other. Yes, they're very, oh my gosh. They're so dramatic. Is this you saying you play golf team? No, no, no. I've watched people and it's a lot. Yeah. They're just like yelling.
Starting point is 00:31:59 They're like, where are you? Where'd you go? Like they get so mad at each other. And they're like trash talk each other. And I'm like, I don't feel like this is necessary. Oh, I've heard about like 12 year olds like cussing out like grown adults. And I'm like, oh my gosh, you guys are mean. That's why I say.
Starting point is 00:32:13 That's why you want like a Sims game. Yeah. That's why if there was a virtual reality world, which is when you watch Ready Player 1, you'll know what I'm talking about. If there's like that, I think there's kind of like, in a sense, meta is starting to create that. I don't think it's quite there the way that I, like, when I want to join, I want it to be very real. And I don't know that it's there. I think you can still.
Starting point is 00:32:35 I don't know, though. I haven't explored it. I could be wrong. Somebody's like joined in. They're like, oh my gosh, this is the best thing ever. Let me know. But that would be crazy. I would totally be a gamer.
Starting point is 00:32:44 I would totally be a gamer. You are a gamer. I am. I'm not like the version that's like sitting at home. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I have all my headsets and everything. I'm just more of like a gamer. I'm like a jump on the bandwag. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:59 Yeah, yeah. I know. It's like, what's the word? Because it's like you do, you're dabbling. Like you're dabbling in the gaming. I am dabbling or something. I don't know. And like I don't play like all the games on.
Starting point is 00:33:08 I have been trying to decide if I'm going to buy a Nintendo Switch game. It's about animals and stuff. everybody says I would really like it and now I can't remember the name of it but I haven't downloaded it yet. Is there Mario? Yeah, I got a Mario Kart. I used to play that all the time as a kid. That was fun. I'll bring my Nintendo Switch, you can play Mario Kart. It's really cool. Please. I love it. I'm bringing it for my road trip. So I will be, I'll be gaming on my road trip that I have going to drive. Yeah, I don't have to drive. Dad's driving. Oh, that's awesome. That's the best.
Starting point is 00:33:36 And I don't think he's going to let me drive his truck if I had to guess. So, but do you have anything that you're newly addicted to? I wouldn't say newly TikTok. I wouldn't say newly TikTok. I I like I'm still obsessed with it and it's like becoming more and more of a problem. It's like a lot of time I spend on there. That's like my mindless. Yep. Sitting there. And it's very mindless.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Like you can get lost on TikTok. Yes. Do you get lost? No, I really do. And I go to the lives and then I get sucked into those. And like some of them I just don't understand what what the live is. You know, they just kind of sit in. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:34:10 The ones that are the gamer, the MP, M.P. MP players, the non-player games. Have you seen these live videos? Maybe. Where people are acting like non-player players. I can't remember the name. It's MP something. And they're sitting there and have you ever played a video game?
Starting point is 00:34:28 And you see a character in there is not another character that's like playing somewhere else in the world. It's like a player within the game and they say they have like catchphrases or whatever. There's people in real life that are imitating that. Oh, they are? And so they'll sit there and they'll be like, thank you for the life. likes. Thank you for the likes. And they repeat words. And they're moving back and forth like a character, but it's a real person. No, I've not seen that on there. It is on my lives all the time. And I'm like, what is happening? What is happening? It's wild. Oh my gosh. And there's some of them
Starting point is 00:35:00 that are really stupid good at it. I'm like, this is kind of creepy. I just don't understand why they're doing that. Because they make a lot of money. People are liking them. So people just like to sit there and watch it. There's a girl called Pinky doll. I think pinkie doll. Listen, my brain is fried. So if I am mixing things up. I'm so sorry. Pinky doll? Pinky doll. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Literally, there's a New York Times article. How Pinky Doll mesmerized the internet with ice cream so cool, because that's one of her things. She said, Ice Cream So Cool. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me see if I can find a Pinky doll video. Oh, gosh. Guys, these are wild. Oh, no. Oh, I do. I don't recognize her. Like, I don't know. Yeah, they're in PC live streams, non-player character.
Starting point is 00:35:43 characters is what they're called. That is wild. And so they do this where they like basically react to gifes sent to them by people. Yeah. And she has. Let me tell you. I'm getting on TikTok. This is all happening in real time people. Oh, so it's like she rewards them basically. No, they reward her. Oh, well, yeah. Mm-hmm. But they pay her and then that's when she does the action. Or it's the opposite. Gang it's so wild It's like they're in call of duty Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:36:20 Mm-hmm uh-huh uh-huh yeah That is just wild to me I was trying to find her account so I can tell you how many followers But I know she has over a million followers I don't even want to know how much she makes Oh like millions yeah she has 1.1 million followers And she makes I think she's up to the point of making millions since she started But now they are all over my live streams like I watched one of them because I got sucked in like what is happening and now they are all live streams I see in
Starting point is 00:36:48 NBC live streams and I'm like what is happening? Mine are the ones where people are just kind of sitting there and they're just playing music behind them and then they're reading their screen and people are asking them questions and I don't know who they are well yours are much more uneventful than mine I know you want you want to trade live streams I don't know if I do this is going to come up on mine now oh yeah you're going to go down a rabbit hole oh my gosh thanks a lot you're welcome You did go to PBR though. Yeah. How is that?
Starting point is 00:37:14 Have you been before? I think I went back when it was in Wichita at some point, but. It is so fun. It's so fun. It's nothing like you expect. You would think it's just like, oh, they're riding a bull and whatever. I mean, they have pyro. They have like lasers, like a DJ there.
Starting point is 00:37:31 I just wasn't expecting it. And it was awesome. I mean, I went last year and that's when I fell in love with it. So now it's like an annual thing for me. Now you go every year? Yes, I'm going to. It was my second time. And the,
Starting point is 00:37:42 let me tell you the association I have with PBR is the last ride. Have you seen that movie? No. With Scott Eastwood's son. Uh-uh. Or Clint Eastwood's son,
Starting point is 00:37:54 Scott, yeah. No. Of course I have no. Okay, watch it. It's like, it's in the same, who did, Nicholas Sparks, did the notebook?
Starting point is 00:38:03 Uh-huh. I think it's a Nicholas Sparks movie. The last ride. I think it's called the last ride. Listen, I'm having to check everything. No, it's not the last ride. What is it? The last ride movie, Nicholas.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Oh, where is it? The longest ride. The longest ride. The longest ride. And yes, I believe it is a Nicholas. I don't know. Listen. That's why I can't Google fast enough.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Yes. Master Storyteller, Nicholas Sparks, the longest ride. So Nicholas Sparks is a book writer, and they've done all these movies, the lucky one, the choice, best of me, safe haven. all because of him. And the longest ride is one of those. And if you haven't seen any of these, I've watched every Nicholas Sparks movie and every single time they're so good.
Starting point is 00:38:47 So this one. So good. Have you seen any Nicholas Barks movie? Yes. Yeah, I saw the notebook. Is that the only one you've seen that? Yeah. Name a few of the other good ones.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Oh, safe haven. Oh, safe haven. I've seen that. Yes. The best of me. I saw that too. Okay, look at me. The choice.
Starting point is 00:39:04 I have not seen the choice. The lucky one. The lucky one is with Zach Efron. He has so many, but all of them are so good in the longest ride. He's a bull rider. And it made me for the longest time really want to marry a bull rider. They're very good looking, I must say. They are very good looking.
Starting point is 00:39:19 And they're short, which doesn't bother me. Right. Also like NASCAR drivers. Like, listen, if there's a PBR rider or a NASCAR driver that would like to get married. That's my type. Yeah, I am in. I am in. I would live that lifestyle all day long.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Yeah. Live that lifestyle. Yeah. Except I also really don't like it because you're not. I really don't like it because you know how they buck bowls. Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:43 It's pretty disturbing. Yeah, I really don't like that part. That makes me sad. I'm like, oh, that's painful. So, well, because I used to go to club rodeo all the time. And they did live bull riding there. In Wichita. And I was hosting something there when I used to work for the Wichita Station.
Starting point is 00:39:57 And somebody told me that. And I was like, oh, my gosh, I'm never going to be able to watch these the same. Like, these poor bulls have the worst experience ever. I know I do a food bad. It's only 10 seconds. Multiple times. They go back in Right when they're done
Starting point is 00:40:11 But it is still tied Abby It's still a thing I know I felt bad But at the rodeo here It was weird Because they kept like Introducing each bull
Starting point is 00:40:20 Like they were kind of making it Like a competition Between the bull And the... I was gonna say There may be different bowls In PBR Whereas like at a club rodeo
Starting point is 00:40:27 I think they might have been All riding the same bowl I do feel bad for that Yes that's maim Because I do think There's more difficult Bulls to ride Because this one was like
Starting point is 00:40:35 This is their first ride ever And I was like oh they're about to they don't know what's about you know so but that's the part that makes me sad it's like oh my gosh i try not to think about that and that it's only like 10 seconds see see that's why i haven't gotten any more pbrs stuff because that's all i can think about and i'm like i know that's why i don't go to horse races there's a lot of animal things have been ruined for me is that a form of animal abuse like i mean that's i mean it's i mean it can't be nice yes it's not it's not would you like that to happen to you no i would not i don't think a lot of guys would
Starting point is 00:41:06 either. So I would think it's probably not a good thing. Exactly. I don't think it's beneficial to the bull at all. No. No, it just, it does, it does seem very unfair because I'm like, well, that's not fair. If it's like, you're supposed to say it's a competition between the rider and the bull. I'm like, you're not, they don't have to endure that, the rider. Yeah. But I was, I was thinking of Cody Johnson. I was like, that's crazy. Yeah, he used to do this. Yeah, he used to be a bull rider. That's just crazy because it's a whole other thing. I mean, which I can totally see though. Like, I could totally see Cody Johnson as Bull Rider. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Me too. Listen, don't get me wrong. It's still very attractive. Still, still not my, makes me sad. So you take that back from what you said about the bull rider?
Starting point is 00:41:47 You'll still take the drivers. The driver. Yeah, NASCAR, they're not hurting any animals. It's just cars. Yeah, I have mixed feelings, but it's a cool experience.
Starting point is 00:41:57 If you do not know what we're talking about, I'm not going to say it on here. Just Google how they do that. Don't Google it. You'll be sad. ignorance is bliss. Yeah, it was ignorance, bliss until I found out. And I was like, never again.
Starting point is 00:42:09 Never again. But that's the life. You got to learn things to make your decision. I thought they just tightened the rope. Listen. I don't. Anyway, we'll talk about something. Let me Google real quick because I don't want to be off of here.
Starting point is 00:42:24 It was awesome. Yeah, talk about BPR. Other experience about it. Yeah, this time I was like up in the suite. So if you're going to go, I recommend going down close because you get to see. You get to be like right by the bulls and the horse and the, what is it, the rodeo clown. He like dances all over the place. And it's just a whole thing.
Starting point is 00:42:41 They like tried to entertain you. And it was funny because they were giving away boots. And this one lady, she was like, kind of the promo girl that was like, okay, who wants a free pair of boots? She was like, hold up your worst pair of boots. And this girl held up flip flops. Like she was wearing flip flops to the rodeo. And she was like, have you never worn boots in your life? Like you don't own a pair?
Starting point is 00:43:02 and so she gave her the gift card. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, I was like, oh, that's what you got to do. So if you want free boots, go to a rodeo with flip-flops. Hey, you know, that's true. Okay, so I am on liveabout.com, which it's obviously not.org, so I don't know. But it says, why do bulls bucking and kicking or inborn abilities that bulls exhibit naturally?
Starting point is 00:43:22 All rodeo bulls instinctively want to get that lump of weight off their backs when they're first introduced to riders and who can blame them. Controversy stirs among animal rights groups. who do not understand the inner workings of their radio. They say, surely this cannot be natural reflex, and someone must be doing something to make them buck like that. So, apparently they're born bred specifically for their bucking ability. So it is in their genes.
Starting point is 00:43:49 How they necessarily buck on cue. They don't necessarily buck on cue, but they don't have to be provoked by pain or even discomfort before they'll do so. So, but a painless, harmless method is employed to encourage the ability and behavior and to give the animal the incentive to buck as hard and effectively as possible. And it's called the flank strap. And apparently, it doesn't induce pain.
Starting point is 00:44:14 It works by pressure just like a lead chain for a dog or bit in a saddle horse's mouth. Okay. See? The flank strap is tightened in the same way you cinch a girth on a riding saddle on a horse. See, yeah, that's what I thought it was. Okay. Because I just see them tighten it right before. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:31 Well, then let me tell you. Like, what I heard is that the things get tied around their balls. That's like a literally what gets tied around it. Like this trap that we're talking about. And I don't know where the flanking is. I don't know a lot of animal. What is that? Body.
Starting point is 00:44:48 Anatomy. Anatomy. Yeah. Anatomy. I don't think, obviously, that's the same thing. But it says, it does say this does include the binding of testicles, a popular lie. So it's saying that they don't do that. Nothing is done to intentionally hurt the bucking stock at a rodeo.
Starting point is 00:45:03 This includes the binding of testicles, a popular lie spread by certain groups taking a stand against a sport. So it is a lie? I think so. I know they tighten something. So there is a flank strap, but it's pressure much like if you're riding a horse, which I grew up riding horses. So that makes sense. So you know what? We just got educated.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Oh my gosh. Do you feel better? I do feel better. It makes me feel better. I would like to know, though, from like actual current riders if this is the case. Because I don't know what this website, I mean, it doesn't look like it has a, I don't know, like a, if it looks like making money or something off and telling. You know what I mean? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:40 So I'd just rather hear from like for sure riders what the actual case is. I'm so curious about it now. I know, me too. Because yeah, that did make me sad, but I just saw them like tighten something. Flank strap. Flank strap. Okay. And they do it right before.
Starting point is 00:45:55 And if that's the case, then like your girl's happy. Like, I'm good if that's the case. because, like, that is, like, riding horses. I mean, it's a similar concept, but it is wild. It is wild. It's just a whole different beast out there. I mean, I don't know, that you don't know much about. It's just kind of like NASCAR.
Starting point is 00:46:13 It's the own world of, like, crazy competition. It is. And before people start coming at me for not understanding bull stuff, like, until you're, like, totally immersed in things, you just don't understand. So this is me asking questions and trying to learn. I just went to a website to learn and understand more. before we even got off of it. So I, you know, I made sure to share all the information.
Starting point is 00:46:34 But now, if that's the case, I'll be back at PBR. Next year. Yeah. Yeah. Because I do. I love going to rodeos. It is really fun to go and, like, go two-stepping. And they typically have really fun parties at rodeos where you're like, they have
Starting point is 00:46:50 live music and everybody's dancing. So I do love rodeos. And I grew up going to rodeos and riding horses and stuff. But yeah, I learned that, I learned that like maybe seven years ago. Really? Yeah. The bowl situation. You know, no.
Starting point is 00:47:04 It made me sad. That's been a very sad fact in your head for seven years. Yeah, it has, okay? It has. Things make me sad. Listen, anything with animals makes me sad because animals can't talk. Yes. Okay?
Starting point is 00:47:15 And it's our job to protect them. It is. It is 100%. All of them. All of them. I love them all. I know. Okay. Amy shared an update on her kids going to school.
Starting point is 00:47:24 and it was a crazy update, like about their grades and something happened and she's still not really sure how to feel about it. But not only that, I wanted to share a scam alert. Have you had a scam happened to you recently? Oh, Target. Target. I get emails from them and they're like, your pickup, your order is like ready to go. Click this link. And of course I'm not going to. Do you have a target pickup? Oh, yeah. I get stuff from Target like target pickups all the time. Okay, so how do you figure out which ones are normal and which ones are the scam? Because they wouldn't text you. They're not going to text you your orders ready.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Like it'll just be like on your app or it's in the same text thread that target text. So this new text thread I got was not part of the others. You know how like if you get updates from something, it's always going to go to the same like little text thread. Yep, because it's coming from the same number. Right. It's just like in that. This was a whole new one. It was like, your order's ready.
Starting point is 00:48:16 And I was like, I know I ordered from there to pick up, but that's weird. And so yes, it's like stores that I go to have gotten a few of those. Dang. Isn't that crazy? So really just don't click any links. Right. Like if you, any suspicious text,
Starting point is 00:48:29 like out of the blue, and like, I know my mom falls for these things. She'll, like, screenshot me. And she's like, why isn't this work? I'm like, you don't click on those things.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Don't click on them. So I know it's like getting people. It's so easy. Because I almost fell for that. Well, and not even the crazy thing about scams. People are like, you know, if you click it, what's the worst?
Starting point is 00:48:49 Here's the thing. If you click through one of these, they can get access to any information that is on your computer. It could literally be like a little bug. Think of it this way. Like you see it in the movies. They go and they insert something in a computer and it just grabs all that information.
Starting point is 00:49:03 Even on your phone? So if I would have clicked on that link? It is possible. I don't know what scan this is. Yeah. This was. It could have been to get your information for something else. It could be to do a certain thing that you have to call or whatever.
Starting point is 00:49:17 But there are ones that when you click through, it puts a virus within your computer, whether it's hacking information, whether it's trying to spread more spam on other people and you become a spam account. Like, it's all of that. It's all inclusive of that. So clicking links, especially that you don't know, is like the worst thing you could do for a scam or your technology. I think I got one on my Verizon on my email too. And it was saying something about, oh, your settings changed.
Starting point is 00:49:43 You're going to have to log into your account to access that. And I was like, what? Usually they're not going to ask you to log in to do that. And when you log in, they change your password. They figure out what your password is and then they change your password So you can't get back in Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:49:56 And then they utilize it however they want to So the best thing for that is I would just like call If you're unsure and you're scared Like they're gonna if they threaten to shut your power off If it's like any or you know like an electric service If they threaten to do that like don't click the link I would just like call them Yeah
Starting point is 00:50:11 And say it's legit. Yeah Because who knows what to believe Nine times out of a 10 it's not That's what's so I got a notification On my Facebook page And it was like Like, your account's about to be shut down because you violated community standards.
Starting point is 00:50:26 And I utilize Facebook all the time. So I'm like, crap, I need my account. What am I going to do? I started to like look at the notification a little bit closer. And I was like, all of the things are in lowercase. And I'm like, hmm, this is new. And so I send it to our Facebook contact who she's still trying to figure out like what happened or what it is. But it's literally most likely a scam.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Like she's like, there's no reason you, anything you've done, whatever. violated our community standards. And this isn't an official report from Facebook. Like this is somebody who hacked through Facebook, got to your account to send you this so you would click that link. Oh my gosh. And they did it as a notification. And I've been sent through like another friend that somebody else had been hacked. It was literally a notification on my Facebook page. What? So do you, does that mean you have to change your password so that it's more protected or does that not? No, because currently it's coming from an outside source. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:20 And I highly suggest this for anybody, if you have any type of technology, any logins of anything, social media, emails, whatever, two-factor authentication is your best friend. Because they cannot get that code without your literal phone. Every text, when you do like a text verification, it has to go through that. And that will protect you every time because they don't have your phone. Right. That's how our email is. And I love it.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Because I'm like, oh, it calls me or text me? every time I try to get on and I'm like oh love this yep all of our social media accounts for the show all of mine like all of my emails that I have everything is so that is crazy but another scam alert like I still get calls not daily weekly of people saying like you know Bobby's asking me for money and yeah you know like and I'm like no these are like fake no artist and even they're like you know Lee Bryce messaged me and says that he's having financial problems and I'm like no artist is going to to ever message you that. Yeah, like, I'm just going to put this out there. At no point in time is any celebrity ever going to message you and ask you for something. If they are going to message you and they want to talk to you, say they find you attractive, I don't know. They're going to be like, hey, how's they going? And they're going to talk to you like a normal person.
Starting point is 00:52:38 If their first initial thing is, I saw you were a close fan of mine and I would like to hang out with you, I promise you that's not what they're going to say. They are a normal person. And if it doesn't look like a normal person wrote the message. it's not them. Do you get a lot of people? I get so many like, Kane Brown just followed you. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:52:56 thank you so much for being my number one fan. Like, I want to invite you to my party. And I'm like, this is not him. I get a lot of the artists who follow me because they think that I would mistake that for the artist. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:09 Yeah. And then they change like one little thing. It's like they put a period in between, you know. Yeah. And so it looks like the real account if you're just going fast. But it isn't. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:53:18 It's sneaky. Yes, they're getting worse. They are getting worse. Just be vigilant. If you don't think you like know it or it looks unfamiliar, then it is. It just is. Don't even like second guess it. Yeah, don't take the risk of clicking.
Starting point is 00:53:31 And they've gotten really good at making sure it looks like they're almost official, but they are not. Just be careful, people. We did have that. And I also, like, it made me think to, like, what's a scam, like an adult scam or something that's so normalized that we don't even realize it's a scam anymore? And mine is like is is pain for parking. Yep. I'm sorry. The fact that somebody can literally buy a concrete slab and say you now owe me $20 every
Starting point is 00:54:00 time you park here is an absolute scam. And I do not on any level understand why this is a thing. Mm-hmm. I don't either. No, who ever decided that? It's ridiculous when like one street, a public street is free parking. Mm-hmm. And then they put things on them
Starting point is 00:54:18 So then you have to pay for public street parking Oh my gosh, they just did that I always had a secret spot that I would park downtown Where it was free Or it was meters. Now it's 24-7 you have to pay it It's through an app. It's not even meters.
Starting point is 00:54:31 I'm like, oh my gosh, yes. That right there. You know what another one is? What? Like Ticketmaster fees? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Online. Fees for anything are instant.
Starting point is 00:54:41 Anything. Oh, I'm gonna get, like this gets to be fired up. See? I'm so tired of. Like, Because even checking out, like I want to buy a shirt online. Okay? Here it is.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Oh, it's on sale. It's only $25. And then, but the shipping is like 15. Yeah. And I'm like, a $25 short goes to like 55. And I'm like, how? Why? I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:55:03 Uh-huh. All of these side fees. I'm like, where is that going to? Yeah, and you never know. I mean, the ticket fees drive me insane. Yeah, girl, you should see me on, like, because Tennessee has, like, tax-free weekend. You should see me. I was going in every store. I was like, yeah, I don't need this, but I'm going to buy it because I don't have to pay the taxes. Oh my gosh. No, I'm not even kidding. Like your story, like, convinced me, like, it motivated me to go shopping. But there was like nothing I really needed. No. It wasn't. But you know how exciting it was. I was like, oh, this cost $25. Oh, $25 is all I paid. Yes. What? That was amazing.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Uh-huh. We can't, we can do that on a weekend, but we can't do that all the time. I mean, listen, y'all not fixing the roads anyway, so where is it going? Where is that going? Where is that going? I'm sure in a lot of important places, maybe. Is it? Probably not. Not that I see. It's a scam. It is. Fees and paying for parking.
Starting point is 00:55:54 The alcohol tax, too. Yeah, that's pretty bad in Nashville. In Nashville, I mean. Yeah. I've just seen a lot of, like, tourist, like, post on Facebook. And they're like, I was not expecting this. Yeah. It's like, if you spend $100 in alcohol at a bar, you're going to be paying $10 in tax.
Starting point is 00:56:11 The alcohol tax. Because I think it's like 10% or something, isn't it? Yeah. So it's like you're paying. sales tax, but then you're also paying an alcohol tax. I'm like, oh my gosh. Yeah, you don't be a person buying shots at the bar anymore. No, you don't. Yeah. Not in Nashville. Anyway, yeah, like back home. They're like $3 each in Kansas. Oh my gosh. I'd love when I go back home to Wichita and I go to get a drink and I'm like, only $5? What? Okay. Yeah, here's 20.
Starting point is 00:56:38 I was expecting to pay like 50. I know. That's so sad that that's what we're used to. Yeah. Because I remember I was with a friend and we were in Kansas City. No, they came to visit me from Kansas City. And they were like, that drink is $15. I was like, that's average. They're like, are you kidding me? I've never had a drink that expensive. I was like, we're used to that here.
Starting point is 00:57:00 Yeah, you learn quickly not to drink when you're eating out here in Nashville. But like back home, I'm like, oh yeah, give me $10. I'm ready to go. Yeah, I know, there's deals. There's like buy one, get one free. You know, buy one get one. Oh my gosh. There's so many deals.
Starting point is 00:57:14 I love a good deal. I love a deal. Yes. They don't have that here. I think that's the cans in us. Yes. I know. It's like a game.
Starting point is 00:57:22 What kind of deal can I get? Yeah. And I always buy things that I donate. Also, tax-free weekend. I did not take advantage of that. Hey, now you know it. But also right now, not right now. Actually, I can't remember when it starts, but it's like through October.
Starting point is 00:57:36 It's tax-free on groceries. Oh. In Nashville, I think in Tennessee, too. I will stock up my entire house for a year. I love that. See? The more you know. Yeah. But double check on when the start date is because I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:49 I just know that it goes till sometime in October. It's like a month and a half or two months or something. Making my list of things to do. Yeah. So like if you're in a grocery shop or like buy a lot, you know, do it in the month period. Yeah. Whatever it is. All right.
Starting point is 00:58:02 We're going to take one more break and we're coming back. Okay. In 2020, in 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:58:27 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian, and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.
Starting point is 00:58:47 This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
Starting point is 00:59:23 You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 00:59:48 The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 01:00:04 On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone, I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live. and the Big Money Players Network, it's Will Farrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 01:00:30 I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. and he's like, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 01:00:51 He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 01:01:14 Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. All right, so Eddie and Scuba Steve made a bet over their hair or a lack of hair. I don't really know how to put that. I don't know. I don't either. But I can tell you right now, scuba's already looking a little interesting with his little hairs growing out. You noticed? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:01:36 You saw? Mm-hmm. Didn't you have a hat on? He's not allowed to wear a hat. I guess I didn't see him that close. Mm-hmm. Oh, I gotta go look. You can see, they're just little baby hairs.
Starting point is 01:01:45 I really can't believe he's doing that. That he agreed to do that. Yeah, I'm so intrigued. Listen, like, this bit is not going to front of the thing. them, but I love it. Oh, yeah. It was so fun to watch. That's what's so funny because it's like, both of them lost. There's no winning for them, but for us, yes, we won. I know. It's also going to be interesting in January 24 when Eddie walks in and he's totally bald and I'm going to be like, I don't know what to think. I know. It's so weird. Because even him without a hat on,
Starting point is 01:02:12 you're like, whoa. Who is this guy? Uh-huh. He never takes it off. Nope, and he can't wear his hat. He has to like embrace the bald. Yes. Embrace the bald. So interesting. So that happened. Okay, once the, and it made me think about intrusive thoughts because I really feel like this is like an intrusive thoughts moment. But when's the last time you let your intrusive thoughts win? Luckily, I didn't let them win, but I don't know if this is for you. If you are ever like walking across a bridge with water underneath, do you want to either throw your phone into the water or jump in? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Yeah, the phone thing has been a thing where I'm like, dang, if I drop, I'm going to jump in. Yes. Like I always think this when I'm going over the pedestrian bridge for any reason or I guess any bridge. I always think that. Like it's like if my phone falls, I'm like, should I test it? Here, I'm going to reach over and then I like take a picture over the. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:08 I'm like, you know what could fall? It's not going to fall though. Should I drop it? Oh my gosh. Why do I do that? Yeah. It's always with a bridge. Yes, it's always with a bridge.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Are you talking over the bridge a lot? Do I need to be concerned. I feel like I am quite a Okay, like once a week Or like once a day Every day after work I go walk the break Yeah, I'm a little concerned I'm just kidding
Starting point is 01:03:29 I'm trying to think the last time I let one win though Because usually I'm very good at Well so this is this is a reason I asked I was driving in my neighborhood And there was these like four kind of gray squares Scattered on the road And I don't know why But my intrusive thought said
Starting point is 01:03:48 those are definitely bombs and you should avoid them at all costs. Yeah. And so instead of just driving, like I normally should have because they were probably like, I don't know, somebody dropped something gray or whatever. And they weren't flat, by the way. They were like, they were hefty. Instead of just driving normally, I had swerved. Like you would have thought I was in Mario Kart, swerving bananas.
Starting point is 01:04:10 And I was like, shoo, zoom, shoot, shoo! Like going past. Yeah, they won. They won. The Interest of Thoughts won. I don't think they were bombs. I think plenty of people drove over them and nobody. died, but I do this still believe they are bombs. And I don't know why. You do that every time?
Starting point is 01:04:24 Yeah, until somebody picks them up. I don't know what they are. And I'm scared to go pick them up. Yeah, why? I don't understand what they are. Why are they there? I don't know. There's a lot of construction over where I live. I don't know. There's some type of construction thing that fell out. There was like four of them and they were huge. And I was like, those are definitely bombs. Oh my gosh. Oh, there's one that I'm, that's going to win one of these days. So in my neighborhood, everybody puts their trash out, but there is one trash can that stay. I don't know who it belongs to, but it's been there for six months. And it sits right where I need to turn to the right and it's always like right there. And every day I want to hit it so bad. Oh, you should move it.
Starting point is 01:04:57 How fun would that be? Move it. Oh, yeah, hitting a trash can and that's fun. Like, I've always wanted to hit a cone so bad also. A cone? Yes. A cone? Yes, they just like, dung underneath. It's not like, but a trash can be like, wing. No, I mean one of those big round construction, uh, barrel thing. Oh, you mean like the huge ones? Yes, the barrel. Okay. That kind of just blocks off a whole lane. I've always wanted to be like, boom. Like, I want the sound so bad in your car of just hitting like a big old plastic. But you know, I don't think. I don't know if they would sound that way because I think they're more rubber than they are plastic.
Starting point is 01:05:29 So it would be like not dramatic. So the trash can would be good, though. I don't know. Maybe some of them are plastic. The ones I've seen have always been like look a little rubberish type material. Yeah. But yeah, I don't know that it would get the sound effect that you're wanting. The trash can.
Starting point is 01:05:43 But the trash can that's like a house trash can, it would. It would totally have that sound. I don't know why it's there. No one moves in it. Just give it a little love tap. I can't do love tap. It's all or nothing. A little love tap.
Starting point is 01:06:00 It gives you like the satisfaction of doing it. And then you can be like, oh, I hit it. I have to move it. You know what I mean? Yeah. You just like a little tap tap. It's like finding an email like, I touch the boat. Don't touch the boat.
Starting point is 01:06:11 You know that? You mean the butt? The butt. Yeah, the butt. I touch the butt. I touch the butt. I touch the butt. The boat doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:06:18 But you touch the butt, it does matter. Yeah, I messed that up. Mess that one up. But yes. One of these days it's going to win. But I'm going full force. You know, I think you should let it win. That's a pretty good one.
Starting point is 01:06:29 I'm not going to lie. Letting my Intruth of Thoughts win on this one was pretty fun. Like, I had a full on Mario Kart, like drive. Yes. And it was excited. It's awesome. But every time I pass them every day, I still think they're bombs and I don't know why. Yeah, I don't either.
Starting point is 01:06:42 It's just like. Intristic thoughts are weird, man. They're so weird. Yes. They really are. I probably have more other ones that almost win. But I'm good at... Well, yeah, that's the whole point of intrusive thoughts is they don't win, right?
Starting point is 01:06:58 That's true. So that's why I was like, it's funny to think about the times that they have one where you're like, oh, I did let it go. I just let it happen. Like, imagine every day everybody just lets their intrusive thoughts with it. It would not be good for anybody. But in this moment, it was pretty fun for me. You know what? Sometimes I do too.
Starting point is 01:07:14 I get coffee like in the afternoon and I get like a pretty big one. And sometimes, like, I work on my couch. And instead of setting it on the table, I like to test things and I set it on my couch right by me. Oh, see? That's going to knock over. Your intrusive thoughts are winning. They are winning on that one. They're like, yeah, let's just test it a little bit.
Starting point is 01:07:31 And maybe one day it'll just spill and it'll be great. Why don't you? Because our brains are weird, man. Our brains are so weird. Oh, my gosh. Oh, one more. Okay, so I was vacuuming. See?
Starting point is 01:07:43 There's so many. Last year I was vacuuming. And the core. I had a candle on my table and it was lit. The vacuum cord went on the table. Like I went like that, you know, to get the, to get it to move. And it went on the table and it pushed the candle off. And it like exploded on my floor.
Starting point is 01:08:01 And the wax started belting on my floor and my rug. And I like freaked out. But anyway, fast forward. There's a candle right by my plug in now. And every time I plug my vacuum in, like I leave it there. I'm like, should I leave it there? I could knock it off, but I'm going to leave it there because it's always there. I should move it.
Starting point is 01:08:17 I should move it. I'll see if you can do it again. I don't know why. Mm-hmm. Oh my God. It's crazy how there's so many in your head. Like, why do we do that? Oh, yeah, there's so many.
Starting point is 01:08:26 Like, we're like, who should I? Like, the random things I want to eat that you shouldn't eat. It's just weird. Like, it's weird the things you think about that are like genuine interests of thoughts in your brain. It is so crazy to think about it. It's like, why do we like to tease ourselves? Like, we're just kind of like, ooh, ooh.
Starting point is 01:08:42 Or like when I left away, someone was like, ooh, if I just drop it. what it would be like like it's just weird stuff like that it is what if I drop this on my foot exactly and I'm like I know I will experience pain but it will be enjoyable for a half second because I let it win so will it break my my toe will it shatter my entire you're going to be thinking about all day all your interest of thoughts you're welcome thank you everybody who's listening you're also welcome okay we all got vulnerable and shared the last time we had a meltdown which was super interesting and you said after this segment aired. You're like, oh, I totally understand your meltdown you had. Yes. When you're
Starting point is 01:09:21 alone, you're living alone. You have no one to help you do things around the house. And you want to do that right in that moment. You're like, I need this right now. I don't want to wait for someone else. Like, I want to do it right now. And my moment is always when I make spaghetti, okay, like the pasta is ready. It's ready to go. All I need to do is open the jar of pasta sauce. And I can't open it. Like, I mean, I've cried before because I'm so frustrated. Same. And I have beat it. You know how like if you hit it with a knife, the lid, sometimes that helps. I have, like, beat it so hard. And I still can't get it.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Like, there's been a point where I couldn't have my spaghetti because I couldn't get open. You just didn't eat the spaghetti? Yes, like, I couldn't do it. What did you eat for dinner? I don't remember. So I just fry something, a salad. I always have lettuce in my fridge. But I was like, I was so angry.
Starting point is 01:10:05 And then you just start getting mad that you're like, I hate living alone. I hate being single. I need a guy. And it just, like, spirals into everything. The jar thing is a real thing. I've thought about going to my neighbors with jars before. and I'm like, no. And then I literally have like this movie moment where I literally am like, like bring out all my rock energy.
Starting point is 01:10:22 And I'm just like, can't smash the jar. Like you finally get it. But I do that a lot with dresses and zipping things up in the back. Yeah. That is the most, when I can't get it, like, and I'm like sitting there struggling and like my arm is like cramping. And I'm saying that I'm like, this is awful. And I know they make a tool now and I just keep forgetting to buy it. But that is one where I've like literally nearly ran naked down my street to like just be like,
Starting point is 01:10:46 Like, can somebody zip this freaking dress? Yes. Yeah. And then you're like, is there a way I can zip it up and still get it on? Is there a way that I can like zip it up but then sneak under the bottom and get it on? Yeah. Like something. There has to be.
Starting point is 01:10:58 You get very like inventive when you live alone. Yes. Oh my gosh. So I felt that a thousand percent, especially like lifting things. Oh my God. It's so annoying. When I just like, I'm not the type of person like I will ask if I need help with a big thing. But if it's a small thing, I don't like to ask.
Starting point is 01:11:16 Like, I like to use my favors, like, wisely. Yeah. And I know all of my friends would help me with, and family if they were here, would help me, like, anytime I needed it. But, like, that's just not the type of person I am. So, like, when I was moving this, I was literally moving it from one room to the other. It's all I needed to do. And I couldn't.
Starting point is 01:11:34 And, yeah. It was a meltdown. Yeah, but then you shattered the TV. So that also makes another meltdown. Yeah. At that point, I just, like, you know when you just realize, like, again, Intrusive thoughts won. As soon as I shattered it, I just sat on the floor and I was like,
Starting point is 01:11:50 You just sit there. Well, I have to face the consequences of my own actions. And it's time for me to clean this up and keep moving. Yes. And I did exactly that. That's the thing. Because I think if my coffee would have spilled on the couch, like, I would have been like, you asked for that. I mean, you literally just put it there and you knew it was that was going to happen.
Starting point is 01:12:08 You have like an inner monologue conversation with yourself of like, yeah, you did that. But it still wins. I know. Yes. You just have to. Sometimes you just need the meltdown. It makes you feel better. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:12:20 And you move forward and you're like, okay, it is what it is. Most of my meltdowns are in the car too for some reason. Like driving. I think I just get like really irritated. It's usually leaving work because I'm hungry. Anger is the real thing. Yeah, I'm hungry because I don't really eat breakfast and that's probably my problem. So I leave and I'm just starving and then traffic, they're going slow and I'm like, I just want to get food.
Starting point is 01:12:43 I have so much to do, get out of my mom. way. So those are also meltdown. That's really funny. When I was with some friends, we were like celebrating somebody's birthday. And it had been like four hours. I had eight before I came. And it had been like four hours. And we like got to this point where I was like, okay, guys, we don't go eat dinner or I need to go home and eat, whatever. And so I like asked that, it goes like another hour goes by. And I'm getting worse, right? It's getting worse and And so something happens and they're like, well, let's just like order it now and we'll get it. And I was like, guys, I don't care what you do.
Starting point is 01:13:19 I'm going to walk my happy butt down there and get this food because I am about to eat somebody's head off. And they all just kind of looked at me like they didn't anticipate. And I was like, yeah, I'm sorry. I'm not who I'm supposed to be right now. I need food. I was like, I'm sorry what I said to you when I was angry or something. I think, but I gave you guys two choices, two chances earlier to get me fed. And that did not happen.
Starting point is 01:13:39 So now here we are. Yes, what is it? It is. I mean, being hangary is real. It is, and I can't control it. Hangar, I think, is an intrusive thought. Yes. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:13:49 I will live with that theory. Yep. I agree. All right. We also had Old Girl Medicine show, stopped via the studio, which is in the number one spot, and they were really awesome.
Starting point is 01:13:59 Just such a cool moment and loved getting to see them. I'm not going to talk about them because this is not at all related to them, but cancel culture is like a huge thing right now. Everybody's getting canceled for saying their colors blue. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:16 But who is a celebrity? You would be devastated if cancel culture like got to them. Like you found out, oh crap, they're not a good person. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, this is hard. Hold on.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Mm-hmm. And I'll tell you mine while you think of it. Okay. Because I, mine would be Reese Whitherson. Oh, my gosh. Yep. Because I adore her. I love her.
Starting point is 01:14:36 I love all her movies. I love everything she's done for women. I think she's just like this incredible. person and if like it comes out that she is not I will be sad I would be sad like I would be like dang that's really a bummer most of the time when cancel the culture happens I'm like whatever it is what it is and people need to learn and do better but like if it happens with her I'd be really sad and I'd be like this is really devastating for me uh-huh oh my gosh mine would be dolly oh yeah dolly she's like the queen of giving back and if that happened with dolly like that would be like
Starting point is 01:15:09 pulling back the curtain on everybody in the world Yes. Oh, I would give up on humanity. Like, if Dolly, because she does so much for kids and like giving back and, oh, okay, I can't even imagine. Like that just gave me like a, I started sweating. I'm like, no, not Dolly. Right? See, that's what I'm saying. Like, it would be a devastating blow for this to happen. It would. Definitely Dolly. Isn't that weird? Yeah. I hope it never exists. I hope it's not true. I hope we didn't speak it into existence.
Starting point is 01:15:35 I know. There's no, no, absolutely no way. Like it's Dolly. She's an angel. Yeah, and it's Reese Withersman. She's also an angel. Yes. She's like an angel after Dolly. Yes. She's like the... Yeah, she's like the...
Starting point is 01:15:46 Predaccessor. No. The sister... The... Sister Dolly? My brain is fried. Fride to a crisp. It's also why this is a little bit unhinged.
Starting point is 01:15:57 Yeah, did anything make sense that we said today? I think it made a lot of sense. I hope so. And I also think this is one giant intrusive thought of mine that just came out. I now think everything is an intrusive thought. And I'm just like, I'm living my life that way. Some days I do. I like to live on the edge.
Starting point is 01:16:12 Yeah. No, there's a lot of things. I mean, I'll get in the car today and I'll be like, my laptop, you shouldn't set it there because when you slam on the brakes, it's going to fall on the floor. But I'm going to leave it there. And then I slam on the brakes and it falls and I get so mad. Like that, my gosh, they're everywhere. I'm telling you they're everywhere.
Starting point is 01:16:28 It's how our brain works. It's literally your day, every day, is choosing whether to allow your intrusive thoughts to win or not. And most of the time they do. Oh, I hope I continue to keep them under control. me too for both of our sakes okay well abby this has been fun it has i'm worried that something else is going to come out of my mouth so i'm gonna end this right here uh tell people where they can find you hear you anything like that all that good stuff on instagram at abby dot anderson one underscore and twitter singing abbey i do think there is a username for you on instagram if you
Starting point is 01:17:02 want to change it to abbey lee anderson oh is there did have you looked no somebody messaged me and said you should change it to that. And I was like, they said it was available. So you may look. Oh my gosh, because I saw something else come out in one of the, you know, magazines about radio and a girl just started like in the afternoon somewhere and her name's Abby Lee.
Starting point is 01:17:22 And I was like, my name is just getting taken everywhere. And it's spelled the same way. Well, but that's Abby Lee. Okay. But you might be able to do Abby Lee Anderson. Oh, my gosh. No one better take this. Well, you're good.
Starting point is 01:17:32 This is recorded. I'm so mad. I'm not live. Even though lunchbox starts to convince everybody, we always are on the best bits, but we're not. Oh, we're live. I'm doing it live. Who says that, Ray? When they do that.
Starting point is 01:17:44 We're doing it live. Yeah, he does that. But then it was actually from somebody else. They got really mad. Remember the guy on Fox? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was like, screw it. We'll do it live.
