Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or web. ever you get your podcast. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:00:49 It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian. Michael Mancini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is love trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police.
Starting point is 00:01:04 As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:01:26 But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Best Bits of the Week with Morgan. Part one. Behind the scenes with a member of the show. It is.
Starting point is 00:02:04 time first best bits of the year welcome to part one part one let's go and if you don't recognize that voice that is mr eddie joining me this weekend happy new year it is we're like a five six seven days too late it's still the new year though it is it is still the new year and you know what I said it on another part so did you just giving you hard time and you know what I told someone the other day Merry Christmas still yeah I think we're past that part yeah I think you're right we do got Christmas and New Year's to talk about though but so let me a little list down these best bits that will be happening this week. We had Fun Fact Friday go down. Neil McCoy surprise called us in. That was crazy. Listen, I did a little singing on the best bits
Starting point is 00:02:45 part two as I did the intro to him. You know what song I sang of his? Which one? Billy got his beer goggles on. That one. Yeah, that's so good. Classic. And then Bobby shared his break, like his Christmas break by the numbers. We had Katie Offerman in studio. Everybody shared their word of the year for 2024. Eddie. the guy who's sitting in front of me. That's me. And Amy shared some dreams that they had about things happening in their lives. Big time.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Yeah, big things. And Toby Keith also stopped by, which was iconic. Oh, yeah. Toby's the man. He's so good. I don't think he's been in studio since I've worked here. The last time he was in studio, ooh, you want to hear funny, can I tell you a funny Toby story? Yeah?
Starting point is 00:03:25 It's really funny. You asked me like I'm the one stopping you, but I try and keep you to convince, so I don't keep you forever. The only reason I don't tell this story a lot is because some people may think like, oh, that's weird. But it was really funny. Okay. It was really, really funny. So Bobby and I were opening up for Toby.
Starting point is 00:03:41 He called us up and said, hey, why don't you come to Virginia, open one show up for me? And it would be fun. It'd be great. Out of his whole tour, just one show. And so we did that. We show up and we opened up. And after our set, Toby came to our dressing room, said hi and everything. And I went up to Toby and said, hey, man, I'm Eddie.
Starting point is 00:04:02 I'm the Mexican of the group, which is just a joke. You know, like Bobby. Like what you call yourself. Right. Like Bobby's white. I'm Mexican. Hey, I'm the Mexican of the band. You know, like, and he said, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:04:12 You're the Mexican of the band. Good to meet you. And so that's, that was it. That was the joke. And then at the end of his set, he goes on, plays his show. And they start singing a red solo cup. And he says, hey, let's get the raging idiots out here. So we jump up on stage and we're kind of.
Starting point is 00:04:32 singing, we're just singing like, Red So Lo Cup, you feel, whatever. And Bobby's kind of singing it more than I am, because he had, it was only one mic. And then he looks at me and goes, hey, let the Mexican sing this. And nobody had the background context of that. No. And I thought it was funny, but you can see people to cry and be like, I can't believe he just said that. I thought it was funny. Well, yeah, it's funny because you have the context. You're like, I introduced myself as that. I'm the Mexican of the band. Did he just insults me? that man. Let's let the Mexican sing this one.
Starting point is 00:05:06 That's good. And you know what? I won't share it. I don't know that I ever will, but I'll tell you, I'll tell you off air after this. There's a funny story that comes with Red Tilo Cup for me now. I want to hear this one. I will tell you. It's still a little personal, so I don't know that I'm ready to share it.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Maybe years from now. But yeah, we got to talk about Christmas break. What did you do? How was it? Oh, man. Christmas break. I get a little jealous of you guys sometimes because. When you say you guys, who do you mean?
Starting point is 00:05:31 Single people. Oh. People with no kids. This is an interesting take. Okay. Because we call it Christmas break, but I think I'm speaking for all parents here. It's not a break. I think I get back from Christmas break more tired than I did before we left to Christmas
Starting point is 00:05:48 break. I could see how that would happen. Because it's a lot. Like the Christmas part of the break is tough because you're planning. What are we going to buy these guys for presents or whatever? you got to wrap all the presents. You've got to put it under the tree while they're sleeping. You've got to, like, get the house.
Starting point is 00:06:08 You got to make cookies. And I am part of all this. Like, don't think that I'm the dad that's like, yeah, whatever, I sit back. No, I help wrap. I help buy stuff. I help, oh, my gosh, my job this year is assemble. And my wife. Oh, assembling all the things they got.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Yes, everything. Amazon's great. Amazon's awesome for Christmas. But they don't assemble anything. Yeah, no. It all comes in like millions of pieces. Yes. in boxes, which is easy to wrap.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Wrap the box, no problem. They open the box and every single one's like, Dad, Dad, can we put this together? I'm like, hold on. There's an order here. He said first and I'm going to do that one first. Then I'll do this. I spend all of, I do finger quotes Christmas Day.
Starting point is 00:06:47 And I'll explain that in a minute. Why? I spent all Christmas Day assembling stuff. I'm talking from 8 a.m. all the way to 7 p.m. What was the hardest thing you assembled on Christmas Day? My son, my oldest son got a workout center. And it was a-
Starting point is 00:07:04 He got a whole workout center? It was a bench press. It was a bench. It was racks. It was dumbbells. Okay, first, this is something he asked for, right? Yeah, he wanted to. I didn't know if you guys like-
Starting point is 00:07:14 No, no, no. No. He's 15, you know, and like he's been pumping a little iron doing some weights at school. And so he had mentioned, he's like, I had like a little bench just to do some workout stuff. And so we found like a bar, a bar, like a bench press bar, a legit one with like a bunch of dumbbells and racks and things like that. So that was the hard one just to put all that together because like you said, millions of pieces.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Yeah. Millions. Is this something the whole family can use now, though? Oh, yeah. We have four boys. They'll all use that. And then plus I'll jump in once in a while. You say that like maybe.
Starting point is 00:07:49 I'll think about it. Not sure. So I think that look on your face. That was the hardest. And then my little one, he got like a. like a motorized four-wheeler. Oh, yeah. And that came in pieces?
Starting point is 00:08:03 And that came. The shell, like the actual, like what you sit on was one piece, but the tires you had to put on, the wheels, the axle. Did this come from Amazon? Yeah. Okay. I'm going to give you a pro tip for next year, Eddie. Most of these things you can still find in stores and it may be worth driving to go
Starting point is 00:08:21 get it instead. To get it already assembled and put it. Yeah. I would love that. And then just like, wait, there was so many times growing up, my parents would leave stuff in the garage and they'd bring it in for us. Like, it was never under the tree. Right.
Starting point is 00:08:30 And that's what we did for like the workout thing. Yeah. But my wife wanted to assemble before Christmas. Which I get it because if you'd give him a box, so he's like, what do I do with this? Well, then it'd be like, hey, we can all assemble it together during Christmas. But no one wants to do that. No one wants to do that.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Oh, man. So I would say like assembling gifts was like my Christmas day. And I'll go back to why I say Christmas Day is because we had, we're like a movie. We had three Christmases. We had... Dang. You almost hit four. Almost four.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Almost four. So like we have our family Christmas that we do in Nashville. And we do that before we leave to Texas. So we pick a day, whatever day. I think our day was like maybe the 19th or something. And we like act like it's Christmas the morning of the 19th. Wake up, do the whole Christmas thing. So it really feels like that's Christmas.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Yeah. For us. Do you put out cookies for Santa on the 19th? All of it. Okay. So everything that you would do on the 24th. We do like on the 18th. It's true because, listen, Sam is busy all in December.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Oh, yeah, for sure, for sure. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So, yeah, so like we do that. And then we go to Texas and my sister and my parents live in, my parents live in San Antonio. My sister lives in Austin. And we are all going to kind of just get together in Austin. And so we fly to Austin. We get an Airbnb and my parents live with us.
Starting point is 00:09:49 My sister lives like, you know, five blocks away. And my brother flew in from Pennsylvania. And it was great. But then we spent actual Christmas there at that Airbnb. So the 25th of December was there. Okay. On the 26th, we drove to Dallas. And that's where we spent another Christmas with my wife's family.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Yeah, this is rough. It's just a lot. It's a lot. And my family, like, no one else has kids. My brother doesn't have kids. My sister doesn't have kids. So my kids, like, are the only ones there. So it's a little more relaxing with my family.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Get to do more adult stuff. We play games and sit at a table and stuff like that. And the kids are focused on their gifts. Totally. Toys. Yes. But when we go to my wife's part of the family, she has two sisters. They're all married.
Starting point is 00:10:39 They're both married. And they both have lots of kids. So there is a total of 10 cousins that get together. Wow. And they're all boys except one girl. That poor girl. I know. And she's so sweet.
Starting point is 00:10:52 She's probably the best. So she hangs out with us for the most part, like all the adults. Yeah. Because she's, I think she's 14. Oh, yeah. She's totally over all the boys. And the boys, like, all they do is fart and just tell dumb jokes. Like, that's all they do.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Especially if there's nine and then there's one of her. She doesn't even have one ally. Yeah. Yeah. So that's kind of in a nutshell what our break was. And you can just by hearing the story, it's exhausting. What do you guys do on the times that aren't Christmas? Different things.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Like, oh, what we did was really cool. And I'd never done this before, Morgan, was when we went back to Austin. I've never, I mean, we lived in Austin. My wife and I lived in Austin for 10 years. The whole show met in Austin. We met Bobby in Austin, I met Amy, all of them. We met everyone in Austin. And so we lived there for 10 years and had so many friends that still live there.
Starting point is 00:11:36 But we only go back. I go back probably five times a year for work, but I never have time to kind of just see all my friends. So my wife and I decided to one of these days, one of the days when we were down there at the Airbnb, we were going to smoke a brisket because my buddy Steve lived like four. like two miles away. So he smoked a brisket and we just invited like five or six, seven, eight friends over that we haven't seen and their families. And so we kind of had like a friend's Christmas.
Starting point is 00:12:05 That's fun. Yeah. Yeah. And everybody got to see each other and like people that we haven't seen in like 15 years. Yeah. And just like catch up. It was great. And my parents were there.
Starting point is 00:12:16 So they were kind of having fun just seeing us all like party and hang out. And then all my kids hanging out with our friends kids. that have never really met each other, but obviously we're friends with the parents, so they kind of hit it off. And it was cool to see all that. Oh, that's fun. Just friends getting together for Christmas. I loved it.
Starting point is 00:12:33 So I'm glad you got to have some fun, like, adult time, even though the kids were so involved, but it was something for you guys. Yes. And the Airbnb that we had had a, like a hot tub spa, but it was like a swim spa. So it's like as a pool? You ever seen this? It's not as big as a pool. It's bigger than a hot tub, but smaller than a pool.
Starting point is 00:12:51 and the jets go hard one way and you can actually swim in place. That feels weird. Right? Do you know what I'm talking about though? Yeah, just your description of it though? It feels weird.
Starting point is 00:13:01 No, I don't think I've ever seen one of them. Like if you're a swimmer, you like to exercise by swimming, you can get one of those and then just... So you feel like an Olympic swimmer that used to live in that house? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:10 But I've never seen it before. Because why else would you have on this? No idea. Even if you like swimming as an exercise, why would you install one of those? But you can also like put the jets at low level and then sit in there. So then it could be like a tradition. It could be like a hot tub.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Okay. I was going to say that. What's the reason? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's cool. Like that the place was cool because I had a hot tub and had a grill and a fireplace and all that. Oh, good.
Starting point is 00:13:31 It was a lot of fun. Everything we did around Christmas was a lot of fun. Okay. That sounds really fun. Yeah. Well, I mean, you're right. I was very alone. Yes, the opposite of mine.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Did you assemble anything for Christmas? No, I did not. Well, I do help my niece and nephew. So the opposite of you, I have three. their sisters, only one of them has a niece and nephew. So, of course, our Christmas kind of revolves around them for the most part. But we still do, like, adult gifts and everything. But, like, I'll give you kind of a breakdown of what my Christmas break was like,
Starting point is 00:14:04 what I did with all of my single time. All the time to yourself. That you see is talking to myself as I see is alone time. Loneliness. Lonely time. Isn't that funny? Grass is always greener. It always is.
Starting point is 00:14:18 Yes. It always is. I want what you have. You want what I have. But we should enjoy what we have. We do. Because we have it for a reason. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:25 And I think we both do. It's fun to joke about. Totally. It's really fun to see the comparison of our lives. It's drastic. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games.
Starting point is 00:14:43 You get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck.
Starting point is 00:15:04 I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 00:15:22 On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Oh, don't you? I'm AGO Wode. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo.
Starting point is 00:15:45 My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come. Look for up and coming talent. He said if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be...
Starting point is 00:16:30 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:17:01 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg a lesbian. Michael Marantini. My mind was blown.
Starting point is 00:17:19 I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So, okay, I went on a hometown date.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Yeah. That happened. What question about that? Yeah. So like this is, you get on an app and you go to your hometown of Wichita. Yeah. you just go, Wichita dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:04 And date. And we match. Let's go on a date. Kind of. If I was a guy and I saw your profile and it said Nashville and just visiting and you want to go on a date, to me, that's like, all right, let's just hook up and see you later. I mean, it could be. Like 100% that would be the message I get from it. It totally could be.
Starting point is 00:18:26 But on my dating profiles, it says looking for a partner. Like you can tell, like you put your intentions on it. And can you change that every time? Yeah, you can change that. So I could have changed that if that's, if, you know, I wanted to go home and hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Looking for a short relationship. But no, but I was just more like, you know, I haven't explored the Wichita dating scene in years. Really, when I go home, I turn off my dating apps and I just focus on family time. And I really did 99% of the time. But I just so happened to match with one guy where I was like, you know, this may be worth going on a date for. And I'm glad I went.
Starting point is 00:19:01 I don't know that anything will come from it because we live in separate places. He is a big traveler, so there is more potential there than the common person that just lives and exists in Wichita, their entire life. And there's something to be said about someone that's from your town that kind of grew up. So when he wasn't from my town. Oh, he's not from which town. He moved into there about seven years ago. Where's you from? Ohio.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Oh. So that was interesting, too. It was just different. I mean, I did see like people. It was weird getting on the dating app and I matched with people that. We went to high school together. I was like, what we did? What?
Starting point is 00:19:34 Yeah, that's weird. I was going to ask you that. Are we sure? Is there anyone that you still kind of like, oh, I wonder what they're doing? Not really because there's a reason it didn't happen. And there's a reason I either wasn't interested or it didn't work out. But it could have been the timing. I don't think any of them were timing.
Starting point is 00:19:50 You know, I really do look past on like, if I wanted to look at a roster and be like, is there any potential? They're genuinely not a single person that would have been like, that really could have worked out. Yeah. I can look at him. I like, you know, I could have been happy, sure, but it wasn't supposed to work out. Interesting. So even all of those still.
Starting point is 00:20:10 And some of them I saw on there, like some that I had went on dates with and like, I was like, this is a great guy. That's crazy. But you know, there was a reason I moved to Nashville. There was a reason they don't work out. Sure. So, you know. Because you did live in Wichita even after college. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:20:22 I did for a year. I mean, I worked for the Wichita radio station for 10 months. And you were an actor. Yeah. I was an actor. It was like a full figure. Yes, you were. You were a Thespian.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Okay. It was in a journalism theater show. You played R2D2. I do play R2 for one scene. That was a millennial and some others. Oh, were you really? Yeah. Isn't that foreshadowing?
Starting point is 00:20:42 Oh, yeah, right? Elder versus millennium. I did have an elder in my scene too. We were talking about the slend. No, he looked like you. I was just elder, you know, you. Gotcha. He was in my scene and we were like on a park bench and we couldn't connect with each other
Starting point is 00:20:54 because we're speaking different languages. It's funny. That is funny. Yeah, it was a whole thing about like. Like pop culture and stuff was that whole play that I did. But yeah, there, there was all that. You did that at the Wichita, at the Orphium? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:05 It was cool. Cool. That's your art too. No, I don't even know. I think it's, beep, beep, beep. I don't even think I had to make sounds. I think they had them for me.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I just had to, like, waddle in this costume. Oh, yeah. Okay, so did that. I dropped the hockey puck. Yeah, the hockey game. Yeah. How was that? Did you stay for the game?
Starting point is 00:21:26 Yeah, we stay the whole time. They, shout out to witch. shot Thunderman. They rolled out the red carpet, literally, for me to drop the puck. Right, because you'll slip if you don't have that. Oh, yeah, but I was worried I was going to slip on that on the ice. Because it was already slippery? Yeah, I saw some guy almost fall, like, putting it out. So when you saw me walking
Starting point is 00:21:40 out, it was like waddling. Like a little kingway. That would be bad if you fell in front of everyone. Can't do that. And then they like, they gave us a 32 person sweet. So the whole family, some in-laws came. Like, it was great. That's amazing. Wait, who's in-laws? My sister's feature in-in-laws. I mean, some of the in-laws of all my
Starting point is 00:21:58 sisters are all the families are married the next one's getting married this year yeah yeah the extended family yes extra people and i really don't have many friends left in which i just how everybody pretty much moved so was was like the tap open tab no we just got the sweet because it was so last minute like i finally agreed to it like last minute kind of thing and so but we got the whole suite like so everybody got in for free they got to hang out all the kids were running around they all got pucks that they were excited about they got to meet the mascot so it's cool and i got to meet a lot of listeners a lot of listeners showed up for. Awesome. Yeah. So that was cool. I cuddled with
Starting point is 00:22:31 a lot of dogs. My parents have two dogs. You said dogs. Okay. What were you going to have that? I don't know. Maybe. Cuddled with a lot of dudes. Cuddled with a lot of dudes in Wichita. I went on one day Eddie. What do you think these men come from? Yeah, you're right. You're right. Okay. My parents have two dogs. My sister has
Starting point is 00:22:49 four dogs. Wow. So I got a lot of dog loving in. Everyone get along? All the dogs get along? So the four dogs stay at my sister's house because they're big. There's two Dobermans and two doodles. Oh, wow. Big dogs. My parents' dogs are two little ones about my dog, Remy's size, and they all got along really great. And Remy and Hazel was down there with you. Yes. Rame and Hazel both came, except poor Hazel was getting tormented a lot of the time. Cats and dogs. But man, she throws a little
Starting point is 00:23:14 one-two punch real quick on them. A little combo. Oh, yeah. And they back off real quick. So it was great. She stings and gets out. She really does. It's hilarious. She'll literally go left right hit him in the face and you back up she runs away i love it she's a little boxer she is so lots the animal time which is like me living my dream i loved it uh watched the new hunger games movie oh was that at the movie theater it was at the theater but now you can rent it oh okay we rented it a little family movie night really good really i really liked it i give it four out of five shotguns okay there's shotguns not arrows oh it's modern time no it's prequel actually to the hungry Which Hunger Games is already the future, right?
Starting point is 00:23:57 So they have all that. Hunger Games, yes, is technically the future. I don't know, you know, in comparison of our time. It's not real. So, yeah. Yeah. But it is a prequel. It's about Snow, the guy who essentially was one of the creators of Hunger Games in a way.
Starting point is 00:24:10 It's like his whole story. Is that Lenny Kravitz? No, Lenny Kravitz is the costume designer. Why did you do your hands like that? Oh, guitar. Guitar, guitar. Got it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I was like, one. No, Lenny Kravitz is a costume designer in that movie. Oh, okay. President Snow is the one with white hair and had the white roses. Yes. That's him. So it was all based on his story. Did you watch any new Christmas movies?
Starting point is 00:24:35 Like I saw like there was one with like Eddie Murphy. Okay, I did watch that. Candy Lane or something. I did watch that. I wasn't mad. That's kind of weird. That was terrible. That was terrible.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Right? Yeah. Like it did its job of Christmas. Right? Yeah. But I was sitting there watching it. I was like, what is this? And where did this idea come from?
Starting point is 00:24:55 I know the war of like putting up Christmas decorations. Yeah. And then he turns in, never mind. Oh no, no, don't say anything. I know,
Starting point is 00:25:03 because I didn't really finish it. Like, I think my wife and I watched about an hour and I'm not going to, but we're done. I'm not going to spoil it. But there's just a whole thing that happens with like magic was added in. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Yeah. The place they got to. That's all. That is weird. Yeah. And the magic is in the trailer because I watched the trailer to see if I wanted to watch it. And I remember them going to that, that thing.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Yeah. That place that pops up. The pop-up shop. The pop-up Christmas shop. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was weird. It's a weird movie because, like, you go into Christmas and you're like, oh, we got the five Christmas movies that we always watch, right?
Starting point is 00:25:35 But there's always like two or three that are new. Like, oh, that looks kind of. Like, let's try it out. It's nothing good. Yeah. I don't think I could tell you. No, I tried to watch it one time and I couldn't get into it. What on Earth?
Starting point is 00:25:47 But I love Ryan Riddle's and Wilfair. I do too. But what on earth is that? I don't know. I think it was like supposed to be a mock. Like. Period. Delete it. Delete it off the app.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Like, it's done. No one's going to watch that. I think there has been some on Disney that were good. I've been watching the Santa Claus TV shows, which were fun. TV shows? Yeah, so the Santa Claus with Tim Allen. They all came back for TV shows. Oh, was Tim Allen still Santa Claus?
Starting point is 00:26:14 Yep. That's cool. So that was fun to watch. I know that. Pretty cheesy, very family-oriented. But, like, it was good because it still gave me the nostalgia of the old while giving something new. Did you watch the new Christmas story?
Starting point is 00:26:27 I haven't. Is that out yet? It was out last year. It's okay. It's weird. All the original characters are older. So that's kind of cool. See, it gives you that like nostalgic feel while also getting some new content.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I do like them for that. It's just so hard to, like, I was thinking about this with Christmas music. Because, like, I love all the old Christmas music. I love, like, the Rudolph, the red nose reindeer. And like, have a holly jolly. Holy Christmas. But once we get to, and I do like Mariah Carey.
Starting point is 00:26:57 But once I get to like Fantasia singing, deck the halls or something, I'm like, this is not good. This is not good. And it's so hard to like break through with new Christmas stuff, music, movies, like, because we do like all the old stuff that we liked when we were kids. Well, because I feel like Christmas is so classic. And it's really hard when something is known for being very classic to go from classic to really inserting something. that becomes part of that classic nature. Yeah, like Kelly Clarkson's song, the, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Like, that one's gonna stay. Yeah, that one's good. And Mariah Carey, like, that one stayed for sure. Like, there's definitely, it's hard. It's hard to break through and create a new Christmas song or Christmas movie. But when it does, it's so weird. It's so natural to everyone to be like, I like it. That'll stay.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Yeah. Because, like, Dan and Shay have, like, three really good ones. You know which one of theirs will stay? Take me home for Christmas. Great talk. Who's that? Take me home for Christmas. Show me around your town.
Starting point is 00:27:58 It's Dana-Jay. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. That one will say because it kept popping up. I was like, yeah, this fits. Okay. I like that. And I also like, it's officially Christmas.
Starting point is 00:28:09 There's two of them that they do have. And I'm officially yours. But they have so many. I think they're putting out more too. They tease something. Which if they keep doing it, they're going to break through. Yeah. Something will stick.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Yes. And if it's not one of those two, maybe one of their newer ones. Yeah. But at least I'm assuming they put something out, they teased it. But it's just funny because, like, we automatically know what's going to work and what's not. Yeah. Because, again, it goes back to this classic feeling. Yep.
Starting point is 00:28:32 And it's really hard to change classic. I agree. I did watch, I was looking at, like, new movies that came out at Christmas. And I did watch some that were, two that were interesting. X-Miss, which is on Amazon. Oh, I saw that about an X. Yeah. And it has two of my favorite, like, actors, Leighton Meester and, um,
Starting point is 00:28:52 Robbie Emil, a male. I'm going to have no idea who those people are. Gossip Girl, and he's in some superhero stuff I've watched. Yeah. So those are those connections, but that was funny. It was a great one. I don't know that it's a classic. Is that like a Hallmark movie?
Starting point is 00:29:06 No, it's like, it's on freebie, which I guess is a new version of like free movies. Yeah. And it was good. Okay. X-Mis. Yeah, I don't, again, not a classic, but it was good enough for me to consider. Not going to stay? No.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Not in this classic realm. And then another one I watched was with Ludacris. Oh, yeah, yeah, I didn't want to see that one. What's it called? Dashing through the snow. Yes, Luda. Also not going to stay. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:29:30 It was funny. Like, Ludo is just funny to watch as an actor. Uh-huh. Because he's actually good at it, but it's really hard not to see him as ludicrous. Yeah, yeah. Because you're like, every time you're like, Luda. And he's not doing that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:44 So it is funny. You should watch it. I did miss that one. But, you know, it's like, we've passed it. I know. No, but we're still in January. You're still saying Merry Christmas. I think I'm done.
Starting point is 00:29:52 I think I'm done. I think I'm going to move on. I'll watch it next year. I promise. Okay. Those are our little movie Christmas situation. I did take my niece and nephew on one-on-one dates. That was really fun.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Ah, yes. I'm telling you, parents, even aunts and uncles, one-on-one for children is huge. Oh, my gosh. Because I have four boys, and they piss me off all the time. Like, just all the time. But when I go one-on-one with every single one, I'm like, this is, is why I love you. Because one-on-one, I can really see your true self.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Not how you're being influenced by all your brothers. Not how you're trying to impress your brothers, but your true self. And that one-on-one time is so special. It rebonds both of you guys. And like, I love that you did that. Oh, and they cherish it so much. They do. Like you think that they're not paying attention or you think that they don't realize,
Starting point is 00:30:43 oh, we're not spending. No, they do. They 100% do. I did. So I don't know if you've seen that trend on. social media where you put three cards and they pick like what you're going to go do. No, I haven't seen it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:55 So like you put basically have three note cards and you write. And one of those like burger. Yeah. Burgers, pizza. Yeah. Ice cream. Yeah. And you put them out and they're covered and then they have to like blind choose one.
Starting point is 00:31:05 And that's what you go do. I love it. So I had them write their three favorite places to eat. Okay. Then I had three activities and they chose on each. So we went to lunch together and then we went to an activity. So my niece, her and I went and got Jason's. Deli and then we went bowling.
Starting point is 00:31:21 I love that Jason's Deli was one of the favorite restaurants. They have the simplest things that they like. So we had Jason's Deli bowling and some arcade time. And then my nephew wanted old Chicago because you really wanted pizza. Old Chicago's legit. So good. And good beer there too. They got, hey, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:35 And we play, they had origami or what is it called? The little, you make it. It's not origami, but it's that game where you like pick one. Yes. And then you flip, or you do one, two, three, four. Yeah. But you make the origami. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:47 Yeah. For sure, for sure. How does it call them? Yeah, I don't know what it's called. But they had that as like the kids menu, so we played that. That's cool. So it gave you the directions on how to fold it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:55 And then it, like you open it, had different games for you guys to play. Did you play that as a kid? Yeah. Okay. Oh, yeah. So I was folding it for him. He's like, what are you doing? And then he loved it.
Starting point is 00:32:02 You're like, check this out. Yeah, that was very special. And then we went to an arcade and literally spent the entire afternoon in Arcade. Old Chicago downtown? No. East side. We were on the east side.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Got, got it. Yeah. So they loved that. I mean, like when I left, it was so many tears because we had connected so much. It totally connects to you. So do you have a favorite? Of those two? No, I love them both.
Starting point is 00:32:22 No, real talk. Come on. I'm serious. I love them both. Like, I have a favorite kid. Do you? Who's your favorite? I'm not telling you.
Starting point is 00:32:29 But I'm not going to say I don't. How's the tables have turned? I will tell you that I do have one, though. You do have one? Oh, for sure. Parents always have favorites? Yes. Because there is one kid that's like,
Starting point is 00:32:43 more like you. I feel like the one that's more like you, though, you argue with the most. That's true. That's true. I do know friends that have that. One is like, I do have a baseball coach that I'm friends with. Him and his kid are identical. And the wife's like, they just fight all day because they're identical.
Starting point is 00:32:59 It's funny. I didn't realize that. But when you have one that's like you understand, like just better than the other ones, like, I understand you. I know where you're coming from. That's me. I know like exactly what you're saying. So you have like a one-on-one really close bond.
Starting point is 00:33:15 A soul, like a, what do you call it? Soulmate? Not a soulmate, but like. Well, you call him like soul dogs too. So he's like a soul son. He's like a soul son where it's like, dude, we just see things the same way. Like we look at each other. Will you tell me off the podcast?
Starting point is 00:33:28 Because now I want to know which one is. So when I see you all out, I feel like it's that one. You'll know, you'll know. That's fine. No, I love. Like genuinely I don't get to spend a lot of time with him and they grow up so fast when I'm gone. Oh, yeah, I know. So getting to go home and see that.
Starting point is 00:33:42 That's got to be a thing when you like step away for what a year. I really see them like maybe once, maybe twice if I'm lucky. It just gets harder and harder to be able to see them. So I loved every moment of that. And I got to be Aunt Mo. It's a really cool idea. And like I'm glad you got to do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:00 More people should do that. So if you have a niece and nephew, do that. Or if you're your dad like Eddie, try and do it. I'm going to try the three card thing. You should do it. They would love it. Yeah. Because we do one on one, but it's always just like, all right, what do you want to do?
Starting point is 00:34:12 You want to play football outside? Got it, one-on-one. You and me. Well, and seeing that took that, they're so like, oh, well, I want to do this. But I also want, because they're trying to fit it all in, right? I'm like, give me your three favorite places you want to potentially eat. And then they see it and they're like, cool, I want it. You know, there is no guess work in it.
Starting point is 00:34:27 It's just like, this is what we got. So it helps with that. So bowling with your niece. Yeah. Did you beat her? Yeah, both times. Oh, yeah. Well, she even put the bumpers off.
Starting point is 00:34:38 I was like, this ain't good for us. I'm going to murder you. The best part was during the same. second game. I was like, well, you did put the bumpers up on me. Like, that's helping me. And she, so she stomps over to the desk and take the bumpers down. I said, but now what are you going to do? And she's like, dang it. I didn't think about that. Didn't think about that. I don't have me either. It was funny. It was a process of learning to lose, which was good, but I couldn't help it. Life lesson, man. Life lesson. I'm very competitive. I'm very competitive. Even in board games,
Starting point is 00:35:05 they try and cheat. I'm like, don't you cheat. That's not how this works. So am I. People like, let him win. I'm like, not what I'm playing. That's not how life works. Because when my son actually beats me in chess, there's one that loves playing chess, and he won't ever beat me. But when he does, it's going to be the biggest thing in his life. See, and he'll be really proud, and then he'll just want to keep beating me. Exactly. Yeah, it makes them more competitive.
Starting point is 00:35:25 I'm not going to make him think that he's awesome at whatever age, you know, like, make him deserve it. Yeah. I got yelled out a few times during the game night. They're like, Morgan, it's fine. I'm like, guys, it's not. Relax. I'm also being an ideogram eight, justice is very important to me. So if, like, people don't follow the rules, especially of a game, I'm like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:35:44 That's not how this works. What game did you guys play? Oh, we played so many. We played blank slate. We played code names, color brain. Do you guys do catchphrase? We had catchphrase, but we never ended up playing it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:59 That was the one, but color brain you would love with the kids. Okay. It really gets them involved. It's all about colors and, like, pop culture. And so, like, they would know my, I mean, my niece and nephew are eight and ten. and they knew more than half the cards than most of us did. Oh, really? So, like, I think they would love it.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Okay, I like that. So that was a fun one. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield.
Starting point is 00:36:37 And in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone?
Starting point is 00:37:17 I'm Ago Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't work. worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:49 He goes, but there's so much luck involved. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone's, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:38:45 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Gregalespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.
Starting point is 00:39:05 This is Love Trap.
Starting point is 00:39:33 Did you guys play catchphrase? We played catchphrase with my family. And it was so funny because my dad, like, my dad, he's had a few beers. And, like, he's already kind of older and spacey. And so it's all about time. It's a clock that runs. Yeah, you're running. And there's only two teams.
Starting point is 00:39:50 So like whoever, you sit in a circle and it's like me and if you're next to me, you're my opponent. And then the person next to you is on my team. Oh. So like every other person is on your team. And so whoever would get my dad, it was like, oh, here we go. We're not going to win. Because every time he got the catchphrase thing, he'd be like, hmm. They're like, hurry up, pompo.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Like, hurry up. Yeah. It's like, and they're like, just say something. It was so fun. I love watching dad's play games. My dad's the same way. I'd be like, honestly, I'm like, dude, for real. And they're so stressed out, right?
Starting point is 00:40:27 They're like, I don't know. Yeah. Finally, my dad's like, you guys just play. We did do, like, specific Christmas games, too, that we saw on the internet. One of them was hungry, hungry reindeer, where you had to put red cello cups on your hands and gather all the marshmallows on the table. So it's like hungry, hungry hippos with reindeer and the red solar cups. And you were trying to get the marshmals.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Oh, my God. I've never seen my family get so competitive. there was marshmallows flying everywhere. That's awesome. Yeah. And then we did the bow one where you had to blindly put bow like bows in a bowl with a spatula. Yes. And my dad kept taking bows out of my mom's bowl.
Starting point is 00:41:01 She couldn't see. It was funny. So those were all fun too. That's so fun. Yeah. Sounds like you and I both had a game filled Christmas. You have to do games. Like that's the best part.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Yeah. And then somebody has to get mad. Well, I feel like this is part of the bonding experience. Oh, yeah. Of family time. Because otherwise you kind of all sit there stare at each other. know about each other's lives. You know what's going on. And nobody wants to talk about their work live. Nobody wants to actually talk about what's going on. Right. They just want to hang out.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Yeah. And so games allow everybody to just hang out. I agree. Or people are falling asleep. There's no in between. Oh, somebody's always falling asleep. What's wrong with them? I'm like, somebody's always like, hey, don't you just get enough sleep for the rest of your life? Right. Okay. So what about New Year's? What did you guys do for New Year's? Nothing. Nothing. New Year's. So when I say we went to Dallas, my in-laws have a ranch about an hour. and a half outside of Dallas. So we spent most of the time at the ranch. I don't know if you saw my Instagram.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Did you see the scorpions? I saw a hunting photo. No, there was that. But on my story, there's this beautiful, they have a beautiful house in this piece of land. You never put the scorpion on your story. I always watched the story. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I posted on my story.
Starting point is 00:42:09 You might have missed it. It's okay. But like, we kept seeing scorpions, some dead, but some alive. And my father-in-law was saying that, like, there's just something about this year. that I guess the, the, it was getting cold earlier and then it normally does. And so the scorpions were trying to find someplace warmer.
Starting point is 00:42:28 And so they'd go to the house. Wow. And we were seeing like 10, 15 scorpions. Did anybody get bit? No. No one got bit. But, I mean, you'd hear a scream like every, you know. How do you get those out?
Starting point is 00:42:41 You can't pick them up? No, no, you don't. Don't tell me. Seriously, all of them? All of them. Well, I'm telling you, I'm telling you like. Can you like put in a bowl? Like scooch it?
Starting point is 00:42:50 No, I'm telling like 10 of them were already dead from the pesticide or whatever, like the bug guy that came. Are they little? They're about the size of a hat like a, you know, like that. Like, um. Okay. Like an Oreo cookie. I'm going to admit something real quick.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Yeah. I thought there was size of like lobsters. They could be. Like I think like in Africa or South America, they have some that are like the size of like, yeah. I was just picturing. No, not that. Not lobster big.
Starting point is 00:43:17 But that's what they look like. They look like a lobster, but with a tail that comes up and stings me. That's what stings. Yes. But I really thought like you had all these lobsters. No. And you think we'd like kill it? Like I would run and scream.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Like I wouldn't kill it with anything. That's why I was like, you maybe keep a bowl over it and just like slide it. Yeah. No, no. You just kind of like take care of it. Dang. So you had a very scorpion filled. Which like I got bit by a scorpion when I was a kid.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Oh, did it hurt? Did you go to hospital? Oh, no. Unless you ever allergic reaction to it. It's kind of like getting. stung by a bee. I thought scorpions were poisonous. It's a poison that hurts you but doesn't kill you. It's not like
Starting point is 00:43:55 a rattlesnake. Dang. And so it stings you and then mine was on my finger. I was getting firewood when I was like, I don't know, 12 years old. And it stung my finger and your finger gets swollen like the size of your thumb. And it hurts for 30, 45
Starting point is 00:44:13 minutes, throbs for like 45 minutes. So it's not a pleasurable experience. Yeah. But I think scorpions to everyone's just like, oh my gosh, scorpion, poisonous, kill you. Well, like, I know all these, like, fable tales about them, clearly. I'm sure there is a poisonous scorpion out there. Like I said, South America maybe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:32 But not the ones in Dallas, thankfully. Not the Texas. Not the Texas scorpions. But that was kind of weird that we just saw a lot of scorpions that kind of scared the whole family. Yeah. You know, like, you had to, like, look twice before you put your shoes on. Oh, yeah, because they're probably chilling in them. They're probably, like, in your shoes.
Starting point is 00:44:47 So you, like, shake your shoe out and make sure you're not. Nothing's in there. You know, but I always have had the habit of shaking out my shoes. My dad told me that because it's spiders. Even like here? Oh, yeah, because they just like to hide, like insects in general like to hide in dark places. Spiders really like to hide in dark places. So if you have shoes that just lay out all the time, that's happened before.
Starting point is 00:45:04 They'll just chill in your shoe. It bites your, it bites your toe. Yeah. I mean, I got bit by a brown recluse, so I'm also traumatized. Listen to listen to our stories. I know. That's crazy. So always shake out your shoes.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Trauma. Yeah. Didn't think about that. Yeah. Little tease. So anyway, so yeah, so we were at that ranch, whatever, and then like New Year's Eve, we drove to the city to where my in-laws live. And everyone fell asleep, like around 11, 1030, 11. It was just me and my father-in-law.
Starting point is 00:45:35 You guys kiss at midnight? No, no, no, no kissing. No, no. You at least do like a bro hug or something? No, we just sat. He's got his little rocking chair that he sits in front of the TV and I'm on the couch and we were watching Nashville Christmas. Yeah. And Leonard Skinner was playing and he's just like,
Starting point is 00:45:50 Leonard Skinner, what do they sing? And like, we were Googling Leonard Skinner. And we read the whole story about Leonard Skinner dying in a plane crash, like the lead singer died in a plane crash. And we just kind of did that. And then finally the clock hit 12. We're like, well, guess that's New Year's. Happy New Year's.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Like, happen year to do. All right. I'm going to bed. And I went to bed. Oh, Eddie. I mean, hey, that's like, that's what we do at our age. Yeah. Did you go out?
Starting point is 00:46:16 And all the kids. No, I didn't. Was this the first time that you didn't go out? This is the first time I stayed in Wichita for New Year. Well, stayed in Wichita for New Year's and did nothing. I'd been before and hosted like a concert. But this year... Oh, right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Yeah, this year I just stayed. At your house? Yeah, we played games. The whole family was there? Whole family. Everyone, the same crew from Christmas? No, no, no. Just my, like my parents and my sister and we hung out with my sister soon to be in-laws for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Oh, okay. It was like a, all the family kind of hanging out. And I was just like the bonus. Sure. Yeah, yeah. And we had a whole bunch of snacks out, so I was really eating a lot of snacks. Yeah. That was my-
Starting point is 00:46:53 It's kind of like the whole break. I know. I felt like a potato, Eddie. Me too. I came back and I was like, no unhealthy foods in my house. Nothing. Like, I have to stop this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:03 I ate so many sugar cookies. Oh, me too. Like, all kinds of sugar cookies. I would just like eat something. I'd be like, okay, now I can have sugar cookie. Like, what was I doing? I went from like opening the container, the container grabbing one to like just grabbing 10. Like just accepting.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Just give me a plate. Give me a plate. Because I'm getting 10 of these. So true. Yeah. So we hung out. We played a lot of board games, which I love. I love board games. And then I ate my grapes under the table at midnight with my red underwear. With my red underwear. Okay. What is it? Wait, what is it? Wait, what? Okay. You were under the table in your underwear. Eating grapes. I was in clothes. So what is the red underwear? Under your clothes. Yes. This is from Spanish and Mexican culture both. This is where this comes from. And apparently, for, good luck and prosperity into the new year. You were supposed to eat one grape like for literally every time the clock hits after. It hits midnight when you hear the ding, ding, ding, ding. Oh, 12 grapes. The 12. So you eat 12 grapes because it's 12 months.
Starting point is 00:48:01 Oh, yeah. I looked like a child. I was like, oh, la, la, la. I was excited for sore eyes. The grapes or did you just keep them all in your mouth until you can just chew them? I ate them all, but I'm going to tell you right now, I did not get them in under a minute. I tried, but it did not work. but that's why you're supposed to do it.
Starting point is 00:48:17 And then the red underwear, apparently wearing that, some people see it as wanting to have babies. Others see it as finding love. It's like red is a good luck color. Why the underwear? Why can't you just wear like a red bracelet? Listen, I don't know. I didn't make up the folktales.
Starting point is 00:48:31 You're not Spanish? You're not Mexican? I just saw it and I was like, I need to try this. Okay. So it became a whole thing. Maybe this is a woman thing. No, because apparently it's like this whole folk tale because if you want to travel in the new year, You wear purple?
Starting point is 00:48:45 No, you're supposed to take a luggage and run around the block. Okay. Somebody's recording you while you're doing this. Listen, look it up. This is a thing? Did you see this on TikTok? Yes, but then I verified it. I did research.
Starting point is 00:48:58 Verify it. This is a genuine thing that people have doing. He's not a bunch of weirders running around the block with a suitcase. Hilarious. 12 times. And then if you want money in the new year, you're supposed to step outside your door and enter in with an empty wallet. That happens every day.
Starting point is 00:49:13 day. There you go. You could have done it. There's a few others, but they're all these kind of folk tales. And people, like, literally people are messaging me after I posted it. They're like, this works for me. I'm not kidding. I got a boyfriend this year. Okay. So if I get a boyfriend this year, then you got to believe it. Nobody can say it's not the great. You have to believe it. Yeah. If it happens this year, you have to believe it. Although odds are that you do find a boyfriend this year. Eddie, you can't say that now. Now we're taking me the look. What do you mean? Don't jinx me. The odds. I didn't say it's going to happen. The odds. are in your favor?
Starting point is 00:49:45 I mean, the odds probably should have been in my favor last year, but that didn't happen. All right. So we can't be jinxing me over here. You're right. You're right. I'm done. That was all. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:54 We got questions to answer. Oh, yeah. We got a listener questions. Love it. Okay. We would talk forever. Eddie and I are really good at this. We can.
Starting point is 00:50:01 But we can't. Eddie has a wife and four children that need him. I do. And my wife already sent me a list of things I got to get at the grocery store. And you're like, dang, I got to do something before I go home again. A lot of work. Okay. Let's go do the listener Q&A before I lose Eddie permanently.
