And if you're a first time listener, and you haven't heard this podcast before, what I do is take the best seven segments from the show this week and count them down so you can make sure you either relive them or didn't miss something. And along the way, I bring somebody with me. And sometimes we talk about things related to the show. And sometimes we talk about whatever we want to talk about. And this week, I'm bringing on Ray Mundo. What up? There he is. We're ready to go and talk about a whole
Starting point is 00:03:38 lot of things, aren't we, Ray? Yeah, I'm down. All right. Let's do it. Let's get started. First up on the show this week, we had a lot of conversations because Lunchbox admitted that he likes to get his massages done naked. Now, Ray, you, out of everybody on the show, you may do the most, I guess you could say feminine things. Yeah, be careful what you're saying right here. Hey, feminine things. Okay. Which is not a bad thing.
Starting point is 00:04:06 But so I'm asking you, have you ever got a massage naked? The times I've gotten them, I was on a beach. So because I was on the beach, I'm in swim trunks. It really didn't lend itself to me being buck. But I did go to a place here locally. I think it's called Escape. It was very dope. And the lady strong.
Starting point is 00:04:26 strongly urged me almost to take off my clothes. And so I did. So I did one fully naked. I did one in college with my boxer briefs on. But when I'm on the beach, it's always swim trunks. So I've done it always. Okay. So you can kind of be swayed both ways. Yeah. It's like if the lady's like, yeah, yeah, just go ahead and take your clothes up. Then I do it. But sometimes they're like, please leave one of your thing or however you're comfortable. If they're awkward with it, then I'm like, okay, maybe they don't want me to get naked. So I kind of go with the vibe of the chick. It's just, down for me to be naked or does she want me to have my boxer briefs on? Oh, so you think it's all about the massage therapist? Yeah. I mean, honestly, I kind of just go by what they're given me and I'm
Starting point is 00:05:06 like, okay. And if it's a couple's massage, then I wear boxer briefs because my wife gets weirded out. She wouldn't want me like, I don't know. She would get weird. If you were naked under the towel. With her there. Yes. For whatever reason. Okay. That's interesting. A different point to it. Okay. And you've, you get, do you still do your hair injections? I do. Yeah. Blood hair injections. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:27 That's still a thing. Yeah, yeah. So it, uh, usually you got to get it done like a couple times a year. The regimen I'm on right now is once every couple months. Okay. So I'm just like painting a Raimundo spa day, right? Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:43 So we got the massage sometimes in the nude. We got the hair blood injections. Well, the massage isn't weekly. My wife did it for. for my birthday. But a perfect day for you. Yeah, sure. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:54 That's what we're paying right now, right. Okay. A Botox, bro-tox. I did the bro-tox once and got some lines removed in my forehead and I had said that was it. But I believe they're going to do a session at my apartment complex. So maybe I'm getting another Botox. Okay, so definitely Brotox. Have you ever gotten a pedicure or a manicure done?
Starting point is 00:06:14 All the time. Yeah? Where I live in the west side of the Nashville area, there's like five. nail salons all within four blocks of me. So we've gone to every single one of them. My wife loves going to getting manny and peddies. I don't really give a rip. I'll go sit there and play on my phone. So yeah, I do a manicure, pedicure. And you get them done with her. So you don't just sit there and be there. You get them done with her. But I would say the reason I do is because of proximity. So if a guy's listening to this in North Dakota, I'm imagining you don't have nail places right
Starting point is 00:06:44 next to you in the country next to your corn fields. But where I live, there's all these. I kind of take offense to that because North Dakota and Kansas are in the same area. So if you have a lot of them near you, it's very easily for me and my wife to go to them. So that's the reason we do. Okay. Is there any other, you could assign them as feminine things that you do? TAN.
Starting point is 00:07:09 You do like spray tans or like fake bake? Not fake bag. We get the emails for a spray tan, so boom, we go get a $5 spray tan. Also, my wife bought the tent so she can spray tan me. So we'll do that. Is it a weekly thing? No, whenever it's just willy nilly. Maybe it's before a big trip we're going on. Friends are having a, or it's one of our birthdays, then we spray tan. Okay, but these five things would be included in your perfect spa day. Sure, sure, sure, sure. I'm just making sure. I mean, because you are super, like, you have a lot of masculinity to you. You work out all the time. You got other things going. But you also have these really cool feminine qualities.
Starting point is 00:07:50 So we're just, you know, we're making it normal. Listen, the average guy wants to act like they don't, but now we're finding out lunch likes to have spa days. And Eddie painted his nails. So, sure, guys are going to hide behind the exterior. And there's dudes, like, I believe they work in construction and stuff. And they're like, oh, yeah, I always get my feet. done because I'm on my feet all the time. So they get pedicures.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Athletes get pedicures and manicures. NBA players are the most manly of manly. And they all get their nails done because it's good with the basketball and stuff. Yeah. You know, honestly, I have seen more and more men. Whenever I do get my nails and stuff done, I see more and more men in there. And I'm like, this is cool. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:28 It's not. If you go into a nail sign nowadays, 2021, it's half and half. Well, maybe more women. But there's still a sprinkling of dudes in there. Well, yeah. And like half the time. like it's always, it's even guys doing it for me, like my nails and toes. It's not even just women doing my nails and toes. And most of the time the guys are better at it.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Like every time I get a guy, I'm like, dang, he's a lot better than the last one I had. So I don't know. Can I explain this cultural shift we're seeing? I don't know, but it's enjoyable. It guys look better. Why not do it? Okay. Is there any other things you would like to confess in your life recently? No, what we need to add? No, just random. Any confessions? Um, confessional. I mean, yeah. I didn't know I was going to church. We just like confessed your your spot perfect day. So we might as well put it all out there. Confession, confession, confession. Yeah, anything going on in your life? You want to confess? I believe we're going to be moving out of the apartment in the next couple months.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Maybe not a couple months, but I have heard from Beezer that she's, uh, whenever our lease ends. But we're considering the house process. Okay. When you say you've heard from Bezor, That means like you heard from a friend that this is happening. This is your wife, right? Right, right. But no, no, no. She hears rumors. She'll be like, hey, I got a little inside info on a house.
Starting point is 00:09:43 But I mean, it's never for sure. And for sure, for sure, for sure. But like, you're talking to your wife. You're like, I talked to my wife the other day. Instead of like, I heard from my wife. But she doesn't know much details. So she'll just be like, hey, there's maybe this house available. But we don't like getting our hopes up because the housing market is whack.
Starting point is 00:10:03 it is straight crack cocaine okay i believe that so it isn't good so you never know if you're getting a house so it's like boom do i hear like a little some whisperings yes that we would maybe once our lease is done get into a house so as much as my apartment in the west side of nashville has been to me over the past three years could be over in three months are you guys going to try and buy a house over in that same area no no no no the house the house situation we've uh there's been some music row talk oh You're trying to move right into the city. So that has also been brought up. But then if we want some land and a brand new house,
Starting point is 00:10:39 then it would most likely be north, far north. Oh, like out of the city. You wouldn't even be able to find me north. So you go from like on the map to off the map. Kentucky. Oh, Pence is like yelling. Like 45 minutes away, Ray? Maybe not that far.
Starting point is 00:10:55 You know about like 3 a.m.? You're going to drive that in the morning? There's salespeople that legitimately live almost in. I think they live in. Kentucky and there are sales people here. But you get up at like three. So what? You're going to get up at like 1 a.m. to drive into work? People commute an hour. Just because we are blessed to live in a city with not that bad of traffic, there's Chicago people every day as an hour commute. D.C. Not Kansas.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Okay, but what happens is something bad happens on the show and you like have to rush to get to work. You can't do that anymore. Oh my gosh. You're like my wife. I mean, what if I die tonight? What if? This is the perfect example of like men thanking. and women thinking. Like we think of all the worst case scenarios. I think of best case scenario. And you're like, oh, well, I could die. If worst case scenario does happen, it catches me by surprise,
Starting point is 00:11:41 because I never think bad situation. So if something happens, like I get a flat tire, I'm like, oh my gosh. How the hell did that? Like, I never in a million years thought I'd be getting a flat tire. Did you ever get the eneagram test done? Because you're not a six. No eneagram for me.
Starting point is 00:11:55 You never got it done? I think you should. We've fallen for all the TikTok trends except for that one. That's not a TikTok trend. That's a therapist thing. That's just like the Myers-Briggs personality test, Ray. It's like it's a new version. It's not a TikTok thing.
Starting point is 00:12:10 I missed it, but I guarantee my wife has taken it. Okay, I think you should take it. But you're not a six. Six is one of their biggest qualities they look at like worst-case scenarios. Well, then I'm definitely not dead. So we rolled out one out of the nine. Okay. Well, thanks for the life update.
Starting point is 00:12:24 That was a ride. There you go. Okay. We're going to get into it right now. Lunchbox. He confessed. that he likes to get his massages done naked after a massage therapist told it was okay
Starting point is 00:12:36 and you know, it worked out for him but the rest of the show does not think it's the best idea. Number seven. So lunchbox told Caitlin he goes in to get a massage and he gets all the way naked immediately. Yeah. And she was like, you do. And he was like, yeah, because one time
Starting point is 00:12:52 they asked you to do that. Yeah, they said that you don't want the underwear to interfere that it feels better if you don't have underwear on. So I was like, okay. So I haven't got a lot of massages in my life. I got another one. I was like, well, I guess I'm supposed to get naked.
Starting point is 00:13:05 And I was just talking to Caitlin about it. And she was like, you did what? That is so disgusting. Then she pulls Bobby over and Bobby's like, you did what? That's disgusting. I can't remember if we talked about that on the air or not? No, we didn't. No.
Starting point is 00:13:18 But now I remember us talking about it and me definitely thinking it was weird. Well, it's just because you go right in and just get butt naked right away. Yeah, butt naked. And I get under the sheet and they come in and you're naked. Do you have to get on your back ever? Yeah, they roll you over. They say, okay, now if you'll roll over on your back and scoot down out of the face thing, and you do it.
Starting point is 00:13:38 We went to Las Vegas for our IHeartRadio Music Festival, and did you go and get a massage? I wouldn't got a massage. He had a spa day. A full body scrub? In a facial. No, no, I got a full body scrub back on my birthday. My wife could be naked for that?
Starting point is 00:13:53 Absolutely. That's when they told me to be naked. That's what the first time. That's what I'm saying. They scrubbed your whole body? Scrub my whole body. Well, because I can see with the scrub, you don't want to, but you could wear like a swimsuit.
Starting point is 00:14:03 No, no, no, they told me to be naked. Did they scrub your butt? Yeah, they did scrub my butt. So someone comes out and scrubs your body? I never had a body scrub. I don't know, man. Let me tell you, it was my wife. I think it was really for my wife, but it was for my birthday.
Starting point is 00:14:17 We did a couple's thing. And they did a whole body scrub and told me to be naked. So this was the, I got a massage. And I was like, oh, well, they told me to be naked last time. I should be naked this time. So when the lady came in, my underwear is hanging on the wall. No. Why did you have your underwear on the wall?
Starting point is 00:14:30 Why don't put it on the floor? Well, I hung it up with my robe. It was just she could see. They scrubbed the both of them? Yeah, my wife's on one table and I'm on one table. Yeah. That's how it works. It's not that weird.
Starting point is 00:14:42 I've never done a body scrub. But yes, so yes, the body scrub was awesome, and so I thought I was supposed to be naked. You guys, I'd like it was the most gross thing I've ever done in my life. I'm sure that some people get naked. For me, I would prefer to be in my underwear. Because that part's not really getting rubbed anyway. Yep.
Starting point is 00:15:00 There's more to the story. Is there? There's more to the couples massage thing that he's not talking about, which I thought was the weirdest thing in the whole wide world, because he told me this the other day. What do you mean? There's like a secret? They gave the after, I don't know if it was after.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Wait, should you ask his permission to tell this? Oh, you want to tell this? Oh, you want me to tell you? You say it. Oh, okay. It's not a big deal. So we did the body scrub. Hey, big deal.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Whatever. Hey, we're married. So we do the body scrub and then they say, oh, we're going to give you an hour in the room, No. To do what? What kind of place was this? They didn't say do what? But what else is there to do?
Starting point is 00:15:40 Exactly. And let me tell you. No way. No way. Yeah. So there's a You take a shower to get the body. You know they had cameras in that room. No. You take a shower to get the body scrub off and then they have like a nice
Starting point is 00:15:54 jacuzzi with a bottle of champagne sitting there and I'm that crazy That's weird Right down where you were We don't need to name them Yeah we do I want to know I was legit
Starting point is 00:16:08 I'm not saying it wasn't legit And then they say They say we'll knock before we come back in And so They say are you guys ready They knock 45 minutes later or whatever That's weird
Starting point is 00:16:19 Yeah That makes me feel like it's a sleazy place No What was sleazy about it It was a great massage They allow you They're like hey We encourage you to take this
Starting point is 00:16:27 room. No, they didn't encourage. They just said, you know, you're going to have 45 minutes. They put champagne in the room. They do for 45 minutes. Yeah, 45 minutes of long time. Could they get in the hot tub? Yeah. Yep. I'm kind of weirded out, guys. I told you, man. That was more to this story. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. This week on the show, Amy confessed that something strange got delivered to her house. Now, I don't want to give anything away in case you haven't heard this. So, Ray, Instead of like talking about this segment in particular, we are going to talk about some strange questions. Okay? Like we're just going to answer strange questions. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:17:07 You ready? What is the most useless talent you have? I can bend my finger all the way back and touch the back of my hand. Okay. I need another one because I've seen that weird thing happen like four times in this studio. I can also spin a basketball. It's not great for audio, but on my finger for minutes on end. Not a lot of people can do that.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Basketball players probably can, but yeah, I can spin a basketball on my finger. I don't think anybody in the studio can do that. Okay, yeah. And you can definitely bend your finger back. That's strange. Yeah. I don't think I have any useless talents. I mean, I can do like a cartwheel and a backhand spring, but that's not really like.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Something like with cooking, can you throw a pizza in the air and catch it? No. You need to practice that then. I need to find like some, some useless talent to have. Yeah. Yeah, no. Everybody's got to have a couple of the really useless things. Right?
Starting point is 00:17:54 Yeah. You would think, but like I can't whistle. I can't. I don't have a lot of strange talents in my life. There's got to be something like a cartwheel. Yeah, I can do cartwheels and back. But that's not like useless. Like that could be, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:06 what if I'm in like a kung fu fight? Listen, there's some badass TikToks, Instagram videos of people doing flips. And that's a talent. That's amazing. But I don't think that's a useless talent. It's useless.
Starting point is 00:18:18 I mean, unless you're Simone Biles. Unless you're on the Olympic team, doing a backflip is useless. Speaking of Olympic team, by the way. I think I had told lunch boxes,
Starting point is 00:18:30 but it was such a cool thing. So the Olympic softball team, the girl, Kelsey Stewart, who hit the big home run in the softball game, her and I used to play softball together. Wow, low-key flex.
Starting point is 00:18:40 I like, oh, like I saw it all over and I was like, dang, that's my old teammate. And like, I followed her on Instagram
Starting point is 00:18:46 to be like, what did she be up to? And I'm like, sure enough, like, she's been kicking by a softball. You could have followed that route. Oh, yeah,
Starting point is 00:18:52 if my coach didn't, like, I hate him and I quit it so, so quickly. But we were, we were on the same, like, competitive team. And she just continued on that route and I dipped. That's impressive. But also, I just don't see that being a, it's not a career.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I mean, she has to do that on the weekends, right? Well, she went and played down in Florida for college. And then, yeah, she went on to the Olympic team. I don't know what you do past Olympic team. I mean, that's the peak, right? Right. That's the goal. Unfortunately, I mean, for guys, there's professional baseball.
Starting point is 00:19:23 But for women, there's not a professional soft. I mean, maybe there is. I think there is professional softball. But you still have to have another job. I cannot see that your friend does it as a full-time job. Yeah, I don't know. I think she might have done something else in school. Again, we lost touch after like that softball, but isn't that wild?
Starting point is 00:19:39 She would be one of the friends I would want to keep in touch with. Well, I mean, I'm not going to be like, hey, you're an Olympic athlete now. Let's be friends. But she was really awesome there. I would DM her. You're like, hey, we used to be teammates. You're really awesome now. And I'm so suck because I quit.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Maybe she's impressed with you. Oh, no. No, yeah, that was weird. Do you have any, like, friends that, like, grew up and did something really cool? No, like, but not even being cocky, far and away, I'm the most, not, I won't want to say successful. And we're not even, I'm not even really, I've done the most. You're walking back really hard. You're, like, went there. There's no way to, there's no way to even explain it without seeing cocky. But, I mean, none of the people from my high school did anything.
Starting point is 00:20:19 They all worked at the lumber mill, not any of, nobody even moved out. I was impressive to them in college, because I went to Chicago. They all stayed in Michigan. So from right there, I already impressed them. And then smash cut to 20 years later, I'm on a nationally syndicated radio show. I mean, they all pale in comparison, not being cocky. Parentheses, not being cocky. I'm sure they have really impressive, like, Etsy businesses.
Starting point is 00:20:45 I don't know. You have an Etsy business, right? My wife. You can't even make that joke anymore. True. Do you? I don't even remember. How big was your school?
Starting point is 00:21:01 Is it a small school? We had 100 in our class. Okay, so not like super big, but not small. Definitely not big, but I mean, it was, it was all, I mean, most kids just really didn't even want to go to college. No. Oh, man. Okay. That's depressing.
Starting point is 00:21:16 The next question. Who's your favorite anti-villain? Do you watch any, like, superhero stuff? I don't. I don't. Nothing at all. Like, not even in your lifetime, like an anti-villan, like Deadpool. Joker. Joker.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Yeah. Okay, so like anti-villain is somebody that's like not a hero, but not a villain. Joker's definitely a villain. Oh, so I'm looking for the middle road. Yeah. In sports or with superheroes? You know what? You could find an anti-villain in real life you wanted to. Like Aaron Rogers?
Starting point is 00:21:45 Yeah, is he considered an anti-villain? I like guys like that. Because they're like not super well-liked, but like they're pretty good. Yeah. And that's kind of Aaron Rogers, right? Yeah, give me him. Because I think like, yeah, he's, he's, he's. he's going to be dominant.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Now that he's in this position where he went to Hawaii, everybody's like, he doesn't care about this. And then now he's about to take the whole league by storm. Well, and you know, I saw online, I do love him and Shailene Woodley together
Starting point is 00:22:06 because I love her. Is that who he's dating? Yeah, that actress. Okay. I'm pretty positive. But I saw online that he's getting flack again for dating somebody, and his game's down again.
Starting point is 00:22:17 But it's back up. It's back up. It was down week one, but week two it was back up. Don't know when people are listening to this. Maybe he played another amazing game. I feel like he's been in the news. a lot for his dating relationships
Starting point is 00:22:28 correlating to how he plays football. Yes. Well, and he's also on commercials. He's on all those state farm commercials. Yeah. I mean, he's a huge famous guy. Like, totally up there of one of the people that I know. And I don't watch it. So that's probably why you hear about it. But like, so do you think that can really correlate between a relationship
Starting point is 00:22:43 and a football game? Yeah. I mean, look at this show. We all had to not have relationships. Right? That doesn't even make sense. Pretty much everybody on the show is married now. I don't know. Me, Mike, and Bones. all got married within six months of each other. Okay, well, that just like, that was a coincidence. Y'all met the right people. No, I'm saying it, maybe it just seemed like we couldn't really be in a relationship and do well with the show. And then we all finally got to a certain point where we're like,
Starting point is 00:23:10 okay, the show's doing well enough that we can get in a relationship. It's tough to do both, have a successful career, and be in a great relationship. And I'll, and I'll hang up and listen. That's your theory, huh? Yeah. I mean, me, Mike and Bones. I mean, for 15 years, that we all knew each other. None of us got married until a six-month window all in the exact same time period. Well, that is a conspiracy theory if I've ever heard one. Thank you. I mean, I'll just leave that one right there. Let the listeners decide, I guess. What is your favorite sleeping positions, position? Or what position do you sleep in the most? I mean, it's not how it sounds, but 69, but not like that. Ray? No, my wife will sleep on one.
Starting point is 00:23:55 end of the bed and I'll put my head at the other end of the bed. So like, you guys sleep head to foot? Yes. What? Yes. For whatever reason, it's my favorite way to sleep. Every night. No, no, no. No, it's we sprinkle it in like because it annoys the heck out of her. Like she gets so mad. But for whatever reason, I love sleeping that way. Why? So there you go. I don't know. I don't have an explanation. Do you cuddle her feet or do you, are you sleeping away from the feet? No, I mean, we have a king bed. But yeah, she'll be like, hey, massage my feet. And I will. But I mean, I just don't like having both of our heads at the top of the bed. Don't know why. Leave me alone. Do you kick her? Yes. I I think, no, no, no. Actually, I think that has led to sometimes why we're not able to sleep like that because, yes, I would be in the middle of a nightmare.
Starting point is 00:24:38 And she said that I would kick her in the shoulder or something like that. How did you ever discover that you liked sleeping that way? I don't know. But I did for, are you like, drunk one night? You passed out and you're like, oh, this is great. No, I started doing it just because I don't know. I don't have an accident. And the cat sleeps up there. It just all. fits and the blanket's perfect. I don't know. How do you share a blanket? Does somebody, does somebody's feet end up out of it? Yeah. When we, when we sleep two heads at the top and our cat, sometimes I'm like shifted off the bed. No, no, no. I'm saying when you're in your favorite sleeping position. Yeah. How do you sleep with a blanket? The blanket's even better than it is when both of our heads are at the top of the bed. I'm telling you, the comforter shifts whenever we sleep normal way
Starting point is 00:25:24 orthodox. We go unorthodox. The blanket's perfect. The cat's perfect because he's knucked in there. Hey, we're going to have so many people now at home sleep in the new Sizzin Way. I don't know that anybody's going to agree to that because nobody wants to sleep next to feet. My wife hates it. But we just had a huge revelation in Ramundo's life. Oh my goodness. Okay, well, far as sleeping positions go, I am 100% a stomach sleeper. And I don't think that's actually, that's probably the worst way to sleep. It is, I've heard.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Yeah. Like, I think you're technically, I cannot for the life of me sleep on my back. I will have my dog and my boyfriend's dog laying on top of me. And I physically can't move. And I will stay awake instead of moving for them. But I can't fall asleep on my back. So you always have to sleep on your stomach. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:14 If I ever actually want to fall asleep and get good sleep, I have to sleep on my stomach. At some point, I move over to like one of my sides, but I always start on my stomach. Interesting. Yeah, but I can't breathe. Yeah, your boyfriend's like, are you alive down there? Yeah, I mean, and like, he sleeps on his back, like fine. You can pass out. All of America sleeps on their back.
Starting point is 00:26:32 No. Everybody sleeps on their stomach. You're just not allowed to. Oh, man. Okay, what is your favorite scent? Yeah, because it's fall. I'm a seasonal guy. I would have to say the pumpkin spice.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Yeah, or pumpkin. Yeah. My favorite scent of like all time? Yeah. My wife's rocking it now and it reminds me of football. It reminds me of football. fall, her cooking in the kitchen. I'm big into that. I mean, especially now.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Okay. That was a good one. I mean, mine goes with fall. It's like the bonfire. I love a bonfire smell. I hate how it makes me smell. I was going candle route. Oh, no, like this is any scent ever. Well, I'm going pumpkin spice then. Still? Yeah. Still pumpkin spice. Not even like your cologne. No, but do you make these bonfires that you love the smell of?
Starting point is 00:27:16 No, but I love the smell, but I never make a bonfire. No, I don't trust myself to make a bonfire and get the fire out before I go to bed. See, I experience my good smell every day. You, you like keep yourself from... But that's why mine's so good. It's like, you only get it so often. No, it is a great smell. But like, the reason I don't do is because then my hair smells and I have to take a shower and this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:27:37 That's the sucky part about it. Yes, all your clothes have to be washed and everything because they have that terrible smell then. Just like if you were to walk into a smoky bar. I hate going to smoky bar because then I always have to go home and shower before I go to bed. and I don't like showering when I'm drunk. It was a terrible idea. Okay. Have you ever had to do that?
Starting point is 00:27:54 Like you walk into a smoky bar, you come home and everything about you smells like smoke. It's usually the casinos. Back in high school, we could go to casinos when we were 17 or 18 or something like that, and they were allowed smoking. So we would go into these casinos, but we would have to take our coats off.
Starting point is 00:28:08 We would actually bring another sweatshirt. We'd take the sweatshirt off. And so then we'd go into the casino in a t-shirt because we're going to smell like smoke. And then we got back in the car, we put on sweatshirts, coats. That's how we go home. parents can't smell the smoke on us.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Oh. Yeah. But it was like it was a process because the freaking smoke was so bad. So I know what you're saying. Well, there is a bar here in Nashville that. Everybody likes to go to that it has that. Tell me. Really?
Starting point is 00:28:31 They're smoking there? There is. I don't know. I don't think you can smoke inside. But for whatever reason, the bar always smells like smoke. It does. Yeah. I refuse to go there because I don't want to smell like smoke.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I guess it never really dawned on me. But I know what you're saying. It does. It's the only bar in national. That happens every time. That's probably why it's popular. Yeah. People love it.
Starting point is 00:28:52 When I'm coming to work, there's people still rocking at Red Door. Oh, it's like the place for locals. Like, that's Red Door. I heard back in the day in that area, that's where Blake and Miranda met. Across from that. I mean, in that same vicinity, maybe not that exact spot. But yeah, that's a popular little area. Well, yeah, it's definitely the place where all like the music industry people hang out.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Not really artists per se, but like music industry people. Because it's two blocks away from all the recording studios. Yeah. And it's like a dive bar-ish. It's not like a popular bar. Yeah. But this smoky bar. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:29:22 But I do love bomb fires. Okay, well, here is the segment right now. This is Amy. She talked about getting something delivered to her house, and it was really crazy. So, yeah, that's why Ray and I talked about a lot of strange questions. So here y'all go. Number six. What happened?
Starting point is 00:29:38 I had an AT&T phone brand new in a box delivered to me. Like an iPhone? My name. No, it's not even an iPhone. It's an AT&T phone. It looks like an iPhone. has AT&T on it. They make phones?
Starting point is 00:29:49 Yeah, I guess. I don't know, but here's the thing. I have had my Nashville number for seven, eight years now, but I had a number from Austin, a 512 area code for years. And it's listed under that number. And I haven't used that number in forever. But it's that phone number, my name, the phone, like something is just so weird.
Starting point is 00:30:10 And I'm like, what is this? Do they want me to turn it on and start using it and then tracking everything I'm doing? but why would I do that? Because I'm perplexed by the phone. So weird stuff comes to Amy's house all the time. Yeah. Once she got a bunch of pizzas over and over again.
Starting point is 00:30:23 So she moved because she was like somebody. We don't know who that is. I still think it's lunchbox. It wasn't one night. It was a long... It was multiple, like over a few weeks. It was either lunchbox or Ty and Daniel. In my opinion.
Starting point is 00:30:33 I think it was a joke and they won't admit it now because Amy moved houses because of it. Yes. And then the thing we haven't been able to mention on the air yet... Oh, yeah. I still don't want to. Still I can't. I don't want to.
Starting point is 00:30:45 I worry about... A lot. I won't reveal anything. Amy had something sent to her house. And this phone is related to that. And it's supposed to turn it on and then like something can happen. Like it's like a, let's like a burner. It's like a bird.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Yes, like if I plug it in. Yeah, she had something. She had something sent to her house and we can't talk about on the air. No, I don't want to talk about it. Like in a month. Bad, because I watched documentaries and I'm like, I'm going to die. Which documentaries? No, don't say.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Don't say anymore. One day we'll be able to talk about it. But anyway, that was sent to her house. Remember she got scanned with a cat? Yeah. Yeah, she got a cat scammed. And it's just one thing after another with you. Yeah, but this phone is weird.
Starting point is 00:31:29 I'll take a picture of it and show it to you. Plug it in. It's a free phone. I'm just afraid you answer it. And that other thing that was sent to you, there's a voice that goes, Hey, time to die. Whoa. But I'm like, why is, am I still paying for that number?
Starting point is 00:31:46 I don't know. It's weird. Yeah, that's weird. It is bizarre. When do you think we can tell our listeners what you had sent to your house? It's just guessing a date. A couple years? Oh, that's a long time.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Did we set a date already, though? We did. It was six months from when we talked about it, but I think that's too much. It's six. It's flying by. But what if something happens to you and we don't know? Yeah, and that could help solve this case. I know.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Our security here, Tim, he would advise me not to say. Did you tell Tim what happened? What was sent to your house? Yes, he knows. He's in, yes. And she shouldn't say it? Say anything? No.
Starting point is 00:32:17 He's shaking his head now. Like, she could be killed, right? To make a killer. Maybe. See? Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Like, this is not a joke.
Starting point is 00:32:30 It's not a joke. That's what we can't say it on the year. And the phone now is not a joke. The phone I thought, well, this is weird. And now if I'm tying the two together, it's just gotten so bizarre. You did say, mighty just told me that on December 1st, you'd say what it was. Oh, probably because you threw out that date. And I was like, okay, fine.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Let's just leave on December 1st now. There's a possible chance on December 1st you tell us what was sent to your house. If she makes it. Yeah. Bones, come on. You two don't really know. No, we have no idea. I got an idea now, though.
Starting point is 00:32:56 You do? But I don't want you to guess. Okay, don't guess. Don't guess out loud. I just, I don't know, yeah, what's happening. And yeah, I'm going to move again. Wait, was it that big box that was inside your house? No, that was a coffee table.
Starting point is 00:33:11 May develop an hybrid. Okay, listen, we're going to settle here. there's a lot of weird stuff coming to your house Yeah What are you going to do with the phone Plug it in Plug it in If it rings answer it
Starting point is 00:33:23 And that's it Well for now I think I just call AT&T first And see if they know No no no that's weak Gotta plug it in Let us know in the next week or so Okay
Starting point is 00:33:32 Give us an update on this phone All right I'm not plugging it in at home alone though I bring it here I'll open it Okay You want to bring it in And plug it in see what happens
Starting point is 00:33:40 Sure It lights up with a text message It goes You're gonna die It's the best bits of the week With Morgan number two James and Rogers was on the show with us this week He talked with us about his wedding
Starting point is 00:33:55 Because that just happened He also talked about his new album Just a lot of things to talk about with him So Bobby got the full lowdown And you can hear it all right now Number five On the Bobby Bones show now Jameson Rogers
Starting point is 00:34:10 He's got a new record out He's here with us now Jameson what's up buddy Oh man, not too much. How about yourself? I'm good. I saw you got married. I did, man. Married, man. It still feel weird on the finger, man. I got married like two months ago, and I got one of these, too. I forgot it the other day, and I go out, and we're having dinner, and I was like,
Starting point is 00:34:32 oh, I forgot my wedding ring. Because I'm not like you. I'm not used to wearing a ring at all. And I'm like, yeah, nobody will notice. And the waitress comes up and goes, oh, is this your boyfriend? Talking about me. And my wife was like, yeah, huh? That's exactly what happened. So my advice to you is don't forget that ring, at least for a while. I know. I literally walked out of the house without it this morning, and I got like a mile down the road. And I was like, no, I know Bobby's probably going to ask me about getting married.
Starting point is 00:34:57 So if I don't have my wedding ring on, it's going to be bad a week after the wedding. Tell me about how you guys met at the Bluebird. Is that true? Yes, sir. We met. It was like a songwriting workshop there in 2011. Yeah, we were just there to kind of meet other writers. And it was one of those where publishers would come in and we'd get to play our songs that we'd written for them.
Starting point is 00:35:18 And I kind of had a crush on her immediately, but it took a few years for the stars to line up. Did you write your own vows since you are a prolific writer? We did. We did. We wrote our own vows, but we shared them to each other in private. It wasn't part of the ceremony. Interesting. Yeah. I feel like I could say that about because Caitlin and I did vows to each other in Mandarin before the ceremony that you guys didn't get to hear. So you can just say that and nobody knows the difference.
Starting point is 00:35:47 It was a really special moment between us that we did Rosetta Stone. It was the whole thing. Yeah, James said that's something similar. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. So what's up with the honeymoon? Man, we did a little mini moon. We had a house out in Franklin. I know it's not as, it's not as sexy as a normal honeymoon, but the schedule and touring schedule is so crazy right now. We're not going to get to do the real honeymoon until the end of October. We're going to go down to Mexico and do that whole deal. I've never been to Mexico. I'm going to ask you a couple more questions about your wedding, and I'll move on because we have real business to take care of here about his new record that's out. But when it comes to your wedding band and music, since you are a singer, do you get up and sing at all?
Starting point is 00:36:28 No, we didn't. We just had a DJ. Classic DJ, easy, probably the cheapest option. And, you know, no one has to get up and sing and do all that spoo. I mean, you got hits. Are you rich yet? I mean, you say cheap. I just, like, I would think that you're not trying to, you know, trim every corner here. This is James and Rogers we're talking about. I think you got a little coin in your pocket, huh? Man, you know, I definitely don't have that Luke Combs money yet. All right, last question, last question. Coolest wedding gift you've gotten from another artist?
Starting point is 00:37:04 A boat. What? Yeah, Hardy and my buddy Hunter Phelps, two of my oldest buddies in town, got me and Sarah. it's like a John boat and they named it Sarah Jean which is Sarah's nickname and yeah they surprised us with it at a dinner not too long ago it's really cool wow that's insane I was going to brag to Keith Urban sent me sheets and then he got he hits a boat dang I need friends like that all right James and Rogers is on with us right now he's got a new record it came out Friday so it's only been out a couple days he got plenty of time to hop on here it is called betcher from a small town
Starting point is 00:37:40 you are from a small town in Mississippi. You picked, because it's one of the songs on the record too, why did you pick this song to kind of put the whole record under? Yeah, you know, it was just looking through the titles on the record. You know, I always wanted to name it. You know, that's just a classy. You grow up listening to records and people name it after their favorite song kind of on the record.
Starting point is 00:38:03 And I bet you're from a small town is definitely one of my favorite songs on the record, if not my favorite. And I think it just kind of describes, you know, me. It's the most personal song for me on the record. And it just kind of, you know, it's kind of a picture for the whole album as a whole. I feel like your live shows, just to get on to your live music, because you have cold beer, call him mine, you know, that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:27 And then he's got beers on. It's a lot of beer stuff here. Do you have to get drunk at every show, or can you fake it? Like, you're just like, I can't drink any more beer. I'm just going to put some water in this cup. Yeah, I mean, I'm pretty. pretty much have to get drunk at every show. Your wife is opening some of the dates for you.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Do you have to pay her, or does that go on to the company pot? Somebody was making a joke on that the other day. They were like, man, Jameson's having Sarah out. He's double-dipping the check on those shows. But no, yeah, I definitely pay her. She definitely deserves to get paid to play a show, you know. Let me play a little bit of one day. This is track one on Jameson's new record here.
Starting point is 00:39:11 One day, me and that's front. Quit riding road ride. Come on. Why did you put that? I'm always interested in why you put a song first on a record. You got 15 songs here. Why one day? Why is that the first track?
Starting point is 00:39:37 Man, you know, I've loved that one. It's one of the oldest songs of the new batch. So this is all like, it's weird. This project has been like two and a half years in the making. And that one has just been like the most recent. a song that I've just playing my truck constantly. And so I just wanted to leave the record off with, you know, A, one of my favorite songs.
Starting point is 00:40:00 And I just think it's one of the best songs on the record, you know, kind of set the tone out of the gate, you know. There's always a song, I say always, most times there's a song that barely makes the record last minute because you just heard it. And you're like, I rammed into the studio at 11.59 p.m. And we got it pressed, right? What was that song on this record? Let me think.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Probably a song called Girl with the Broken Heart. I think it's the, you know, the newest song I've written since I've recorded all these songs. It was kind of, we wrote it a few weeks before we were going in the studio. And it just kind of beat out another song, probably. And I won't name that song. It might hurt some songwriter's feelings. But, yeah, it snuck its way on there. Here it is.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Here's Girl with a Broken Heart. So you've got to make that story a little more dramatic, Especially if it's ever a single, Jameson. You've got to be like, you know what? The record was coming out the next day. It was already in stores. We rushed and we took them all off the shelves. We told the streaming services, pull it down.
Starting point is 00:41:22 We got one more song to add and this is it. You got to like amplify that a little bit. I'm a bad liar, man. I'm a bad, but I'll work on it. I'll work on it. He's got a new record out. It is out now. It came out this weekend.
Starting point is 00:41:32 It's called Bet you're from a small town. The thing about Jameson, he's such a good songwriter. I think sometimes that gets lost and how good of a singer you also are. But you wrote on 14 of 15 of, 15 of these songs the one you didn't write like what which one was that and why was that one the one yeah you know it's actually my first single uh some girls it was uh you know it was kind of ironic that i don't know you moved to town and to write songs and then your first single as an artist you didn't write but listen some of my favorite artists ever you know didn't have to write their own
Starting point is 00:42:05 songs you know i mean i think the the songwriters are kind of uh taken for granted a little bit here in town and it's foolish for me to think that I can write better songs than all these amazing writers here in town. So anyway, long story short, I'd heard that song on Buddy's Hardy, Jake Mitchell and C.J. Soler had written that song many years ago. And when we were coming up together, you know, we used to share demos with each other
Starting point is 00:42:29 before any of us had anything going on. And I just always told those guys, if nobody ever cut that song, I would love to have it one day. And it fell through the cracks for me. James and Rogers, got a new record out, came out Friday so it's been out a few days you guys go check it out it's it is robust in songs I mean 15 songs my friend that's a lot that that's almost like Kanye Donda putting up 27 tracks like
Starting point is 00:42:53 it's like here I am here's a lot of songs like what I'll end on now 15 songs that's a lot what what are you thinking there well you know what I mean it like I said earlier it's been like a two and a half year process of making this album um started recording these songs like before I actually signed my record deal. And so I don't know. We just kind of piled up all these songs. And I keep, you know, as a songwriter, you keep writing songs, you know, better songs as the years go by.
Starting point is 00:43:22 And so we just kept writing songs that needed to make the album. And yeah, I'm just proud to have the 15 songs to put on a record. You're from Batesville, Mississippi. Is there anybody else famous from Batesville, Mississippi? Bates, no, it was, it's been a few NFL football. players, but nobody like crazy famous. I mean, are you the most famous person to come out of Batesville, Mississippi, in your opinion? No, definitely not, because I don't consider myself famous. Okay. Well, this guy. It is an awkward question. Okay. Are you the most well-known person to come out of Bates?
Starting point is 00:44:03 I don't think it's awkward? When you go to Mountain Pine, Arkansas, population 772, that's where I'm from. there's a sign that says welcome to the boyhood home of Mountain Pine. So does Jameson have a sign into Batesville? That's where I'm getting. I'm walking down that path. Gotcha. Jameson, we got to get you a sign, right? Is that what you're demanding?
Starting point is 00:44:22 Who's the mayor? We'll call him. Who's the mayor of Batesville? I'm going to text him today and say that needs to happen by the end of the year. Okay. About to go number one with Colbert calling my name. Jameson, congratulations. He's out on the road.
Starting point is 00:44:38 I mean, you're up till the end of December. I mean, I just see you added a new show in Nashville. You're blowing up so big. A second Nashville show got added because he's very famous. Right. And you know what? He hasn't lost touch with who he is, Amy, because he hired a DJ because that saved money. I can tell.
Starting point is 00:44:53 That's what's great about our stars these days. Like, they're staying true to who they are. They don't matter how rich they are, how rich and popular. I love how people are going to think I'm actually rich after this interview. I'm certainly not. All right, Jameson Rogers. Good to talk to you, bud, and good luck, and I'm sure I'll see you soon. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Lunchbox took to the streets to ask random people to portray a country artist and then sing happy birthday as that country artist. Hilarious. Like, I don't know how he gets random strangers to do things. I really don't. And I also love his random names that he comes up with. My son's name is Ethan. Like, where does that even come from?
Starting point is 00:45:33 What the heck do you come up with the name Ethan? Why wouldn't you just say Jimmy or little kid? Jimmy Jimmy feels weird He said Jimmy I was like Never mind Right
Starting point is 00:45:44 Okay so like I'm about to celebrate My 28th birthday It's coming up Very shortly We're gonna have to change this imaging From 27 to I don't even know that we still have it
Starting point is 00:45:55 In there somewhere I mean as I've gotten older It's not as interesting anymore But I have a question for you Because you're a little bit older than I am Okay Like as each birthday came Not talking about 30s
Starting point is 00:46:07 because the significant birthday marks are always fun to celebrate. But did you find it hard to celebrate, like, those kind of weird birthdays? Here, I got this for you, and then I'll answer your question. That was five. Then here's this one. And then we skip 27 and now we're on 28. Yep. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:46:29 I've been with the show for four years. Past four years. Here you go. What do 24-year-olds care about with Morgan number two? Oh, that makes me feel so old. Hold on. What do 24-year-olds care about with Morgan number two? Whatever.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Oh, that's an old. You were so young. I know. And I'm about to turn 28. All right. So what was your question? Oh, that's wild. That's, that was like a walk-down memory lane.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Advice. Oh, about the birthday is becoming less and less. Yeah, like, I'm, you know, I've been trying to figure out if I want to do something, but there's so much of me that's like, I don't want to do anything. Like let me just go to dinner and I'll go home. Well, let your boyfriend handle that. I always just put it up to my wife. And then so I can, you give her a couple things.
Starting point is 00:47:15 She goes, do you want to do it here or do you want to do it in another city? That's one of the things. Do you want a ton of other friends or just a couple? And then there you go. Are we doing a crazy gift right now? Or do you want to do that in Christmas and just do something small right now? So you cover those three things and then the rest will just fall into place. But you should never stress for a birthday.
Starting point is 00:47:33 Well, it's not like stress. It's just more like meh. Like, I don't know that. I really care that I'm turning 28 this year. If you don't care about birthdays and then get off this planet. No, I do care. You're not ready for the next trip around the sun. Get out.
Starting point is 00:47:45 But my birthdays are normally so fun. But for whatever reason. Go to Mars. I would love to go to Mars. For whatever reason, this year I'm like, eh, like I'm turning 28. I don't need to do anything crazy. You got to. It feels like it just feels different.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Well, last year you didn't do anything because of the pandemic. I had some jello shots. And it was at your house. That's depressing. Now you have a boyfriend. Don't know if you had him then. He's been wrapped up and secretive for way too long. No, I did not have a boyfriend then wrapped up in secret for too long.
Starting point is 00:48:18 Well, so now that you have one, you really do need to do something special. And I'm putting it on him. I don't know if he listens to this podcast, but a little bird needs to find him and tell him, this one's got to be special for you. It's y'all's first one. Oh, yeah. So don't be mad. I bet it's going to be very cool.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Okay. And we have connections. I mean, I don't know if our connections work, but you should be able to ran out a little area at a place. Al Dines. I did that one year, though, already. That's the problem is I've already done so many things. I'm like, right now.
Starting point is 00:48:45 I'm like, what do I do? I mean, we should have some kind of gravitas. I don't know another word to say to the point where we could rent out an area that the average person couldn't. Yeah. But that means like me having that many friends. Scuba Steve just said you need to do Aldeens. I've already done Al Dines, though. Do it again, girl.
Starting point is 00:49:04 No. Round two. They brought out a chocolate cake that I still don't remember, okay? Hey-o. It was not, it was a great cake. Don't remember it. That was Morgan when she was 24. No, that was, that was 26.
Starting point is 00:49:17 That was right before the pandemic. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Well, I was just like, I just wanted to check in and see if this is a normal thing. I just feel, I just feel me. It's just like anything. If you want your life to be meh, then do it.
Starting point is 00:49:29 But if you want it to be exciting and fun and live it to the fullest, then you need to do something. Oh, you just motivated me, right? I have to do something. fun. I need to go be lag where and I partied up at brunch. We went to Stateside Kitchen. Oh, so fun. It was a week later because I traveled. We went and did the Bobby Fest for my birthday.
Starting point is 00:49:47 It just happened to be the same weekend. But yeah, we did it a week later. I went to Stateside. I went to Corner Pub. I mean, I did sports. I did a badass brunch. It was awesome. Okay, so give me the full lowdown of what you did. And maybe I can kind of mimic it. So my wife goes, do you want a ton of people or a couple? I go a couple. So we got our friend Ashley and my
Starting point is 00:50:04 friend, don't even remember's name. and she was going to get a limo and she goes, I didn't do a limo just because it was $100 and that just seemed too much just to drop us off. So we got a Tesla and it was just us, me, my wife and our two friends did stateside. We met up with a couple other people. In stateside, there's a live DJ at 11 a.m. Yeah, right. Do you not remember this podcast?
Starting point is 00:50:26 I told you to go to that place. Well, guess what? It finally dawned on me that I needed to go to state side. I've been there now a handful of times. But the DJ's live. There's a bubble machine. they handed us tequila shots at 10 a.m. It was crazy.
Starting point is 00:50:39 And then we went and watched football all day at Corner Pub and we were home by three. Passed out. That's my birthday. You did like a day drink and birthday. I would never have gone that hard, but because of the birthday in the air type thing. It's like, oh, here's tequila shots. Hey, you got to finish this bottle of champagne. It's bottomless.
Starting point is 00:50:56 How do you think bottomless is going to end at 3 p.m.? Oh, I've seen you on bottomless before, Ray. You get wild on bottomless. If you're the point of bottomless, it's not. If you're, the point of bottomless is not making it past four hours. This is true. There's no way you can do bottomless and just have a good day. You're definitely passing out.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Okay. Well, you've inspired me. You've motivated me. How does that make you feel? Let's go. I'm a party planner. That's what I need to be. We almost started that business.
Starting point is 00:51:21 I know. You never went into it. You should have. Okay. Well, in case you're feeling like me, Ray just motivated us to not feel that way. That's all that was. That's what we needed.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Here is lunchbox getting a bunch of random strangers out on the streets. to act like country artists and then sing happy birthday to his made-up nephew, son. A bunch of things. Number four. Our lunchbox went around Nashville last night. What were you asking people to do? I just said, hey, guys, I'm in town on vacation. It's my five-year-old's birthday.
Starting point is 00:51:50 Will you act like a celebrity? Because I said, I'm going to be in Nashville. There's celebrities everywhere to see if people would impersonate celebrities and sing to a five-year-old. So you went up and said, hey, please be Luke Bryan. Yeah, will you be Luke Bryan? Will you be... Full your kid. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Like, will you... It's my five-year-old's birthday. He will not have any idea who you really are. He'll think you're really Luke Bryan or Faith Hill or... If people did this? Oh, yeah, man. Okay, here is... Well, Luke Bryan.
Starting point is 00:52:17 So, my nephew's turning five, right? Okay. So I need you to act like Luke Brian and tell him happy birthday and then sing. And because he thinks celebrities are everywhere. What is his name? Ethan. Hey, Ethan. This is Luke Brian.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Hey, make sure you tell your mom. Country girls Shake it for me now Shake it for me now Shake it for me I sing happy birthday Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you
Starting point is 00:52:45 Happy birthday dear Ethan Happy birthday to you Wild that he kind of did an impression too Who The next one Which by the way Is Ethan a made up name? Yeah
Starting point is 00:52:59 I just made up a name I don't really have a five-year-old. I don't have a kid named Ethan. Who'd you ask for next? George Strait. That's a tough impression. Yeah. Excuse me, man.
Starting point is 00:53:12 Can you help me out? Can you act like Chris Stapleton? I don't know who that is. Okay. Do you know who George Strait is? I know of him. Okay. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:53:20 He's five years old. And just say, Hey, Ethan, this is George Strait and sing a little happy birthday, and he'll think it's George Strait. Okay. All right. Hey, Ethan, this is George Strait. Just want to say happy birthday.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Happy birthday. birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. He's like, yo, yo, you know, you're home with George Strait. It's George Strait for Jersey. I mean, he could sounds nothing like George Strait.
Starting point is 00:53:46 I don't even think you tried. I don't even think he really knew George Stray was. But you know what? Good for him for doing it anyway. Yeah, people are being nice. All right, we have a couple more. Here is Carrie Underwood.
Starting point is 00:53:55 Excuse me, ma'am. Can you do me a huge favor? Uh-huh. Okay, I'm going home to my five-year-old and I told him I was coming to Nashville. and I was going to meet celebrities for his birthday. And he's turning five. He's like, hey, Ethan, this is Carrie Underwood.
Starting point is 00:54:06 And I just want to sing a little happy birthday to him. Hey, Ethan, this is Carrie Underwood. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, Ethan. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Ethan's going to be like, Carrie Underwood kind of sucks, but she's not in a recording studio.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Hey, yeah. The woman's like a lot older and you just can't sing at all. One more. The last clip, there are two people here. Yeah, two people. I think it was a husband and wife or boyfriend, girlfriend, and I got one Luke Combs and one Faith Hill. Why not go Tim McGraw on Faith Hill?
Starting point is 00:54:40 Yeah. I don't know. Now that you say that, I'm like, oh, that'd have been a good idea, but I just really went, you know. Okay, okay, here we go. Hey, Ethan, this is a slu's comb. Happy birthday to you. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Starting point is 00:54:55 What did he say? This is who? Hey, Ethan, this is a slu's comb. Happy birthday, too. you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, De Ethan, happy birthday to you. All right, now you're going to be Faith Hill. Who?
Starting point is 00:55:12 Faith Hill. Are you joking? What are you doing for this for real? Oh, really? Oh. Hey, Ethan, this is Faith Hill. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to, happy birthday to, happy birth.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Well, then it convinced me. I wasn't even sure that was her, but now I, let me say this to all five of these people. They did it. I think they should be applauded for taking one for the team. Yes. Now, I thought Luth Combs was funny. Our Luth Combe. Hey, Ethan, this is Luce Combe.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Lute Combe. That's awesome. Good for them. The only one that kind of, though, resembled it was Luke Brian. He actually knew who he was. The rest that were just like, whatever, man. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. It's always a fun time on the show when we
Starting point is 00:56:11 played games, but Easy Trivia always hits just a little bit different. And we, again, this week, played Easy Trivia. We're all competing to get Eddie's tiara that he won during this last round of Easy Trivia. So here you go. In case you missed it, you can get a good laugh at all of us. Here is Easy Trivia. Number three. It's time for the easiest trivia game in the whole wide world.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Let's play Easy Trivia. Now, there is a tiara for the champion. Eddie's currently holding the tiara as they play to five. Eddie and Lunchbox both have two wins this season. Whoa. Amy, what does she have? Zero. What?
Starting point is 00:56:47 Morgan has zero as well. But it is super easy. Let's play easy trivia. The first round, nobody goes home. It's so easy. Up first is Amy. Amy, how are you today? Doing good.

Starting point is 00:58:19 Oh, that would be Captain America. Of all of them? Is it because the person who plays it or because of what he does? I mean, it's both. It has to be both. And he's good looking. Yeah, that's, yeah. It's Chris Evans.
Starting point is 00:58:27 Your first question is Gotham is a fictional city of what superhero? Batman. Correct. There she is. Okay, now let's get to the game. Way less clapping in the game. If you miss it, you're out. What you don't want to hear is that you've been boned.
Starting point is 00:58:41 Here's that sound. You've been boned. Let's go. Amy, what does WWW stand for in a browser? World Wide Web. That is correct. Lunchbox, what does the F and FBI stand for? Federal.

Starting point is 00:59:54 Lunchbox. What's the national flower or emblem of Ireland? Oh, the shamrock. Correct. Eddie, what two countries in? North America share the longest border? Say that again? What two countries in North America
Starting point is 01:00:14 share the longest border? The longest. That would be U.S. and Canada. Correct. Hey Morgan, what type of bear? Ah, crap. I messed that one up. Oh, Bill. A bear.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Hey, what type of animal is Ballou in the jungle book? A bear. There you go. Dang it. Okay, there you go. Next round. And it makes you feel better. I would have got it. I know you would have. Amy, Stratus, cumulus, and nimbus are types of what? Clouds.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Correct. Lunchbox, easy trivia. What color is at the top of a rainbow? What color is at the top of a rainbow? I got it. Let's go red. Correct. Roy G. Biv.
Starting point is 01:01:02 Red number one. Eddie. What American state is largest by population? Total population. Hmm. That's a tough one. Give me California. Although they're moving a lot these days.
Starting point is 01:01:22 Give me California. He says California. The answer is California. Yeah. It's a pretty tough one. Morgan, Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls. How many championships did he win? What?
Starting point is 01:01:33 What? That's tough. What the? What? Oh, gosh. Count them. I could have got the Chicago Bulls part. Not sure I can get the...
Starting point is 01:01:42 That's a pretty tough one if you're not a sports fan. I mean... Like maybe they fit on one hand, so five, maybe it's a little bit more than that. Six. Something about six seems right, but maybe that's Tom Brady. Oh, good. Is it like 10? No, that's a lot.
Starting point is 01:02:03 More getting an answer? Six. Correct. Oh! Nice work. Good job. And it's not Tom Brady, though. But how many Super Bowl rings does he have?
Starting point is 01:02:12 More than six. Seven? Yeah, more than six. Amy, that's a tough one. That was very hard. Tough ones there. Amy. The ruble
Starting point is 01:02:21 is the currency of what country? The what? The ruble. Amy, you're trying to think, like, that'll cost you four rubles. I have no idea. Like, do you know? No, I've no clue. Does anyone know?
Starting point is 01:02:44 No. I got a guess. I think we don't have a guess. Well, I guess. I mean, I guess. Okay, I don't know. Afghanistan. No, I'm sorry. What was your guess?
Starting point is 01:02:53 Pakistan. No. Dang. Russia. Oh. Amy? You've been bone. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:59 The only way you don't get bonus is they all miss it too. Lunchbox, what was the name of the island in New York that immigrants arrived to in 1890, all the way to 1950? Oh, I got it. Just came to me. Ellis Island. Correct. Wow. I would have said staten.
Starting point is 01:03:18 Hitch. The movie Hitch. That's how I know that. I thought you called me a name. Sorry. Yeah, I did too. I was like, whoa. Well, I mean, a little bit.
Starting point is 01:03:26 I feel like Which natural disaster is measured with the Richter scale, Eddie? Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Earthquake is the Richter scale, right? Is that your answer? Hold on one other thing. Hurricanes, no, the tornadoes, no.
Starting point is 01:03:48 Give me earthquake. The answer is earthquakes, it's correct. Yes. Morgan, what element is said to keep the bones strong? Calcium. Good. Good job. What?
Starting point is 01:04:00 I'm just curious how rubble or rebel or rubble. She got Michael Jordan's six championships. Oh, that was impressive. Yeah, I feel like that should have been harder and then. Hey, hitch, stop. Stop being a hitch. Well, Russian currency. Okay, here we go.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Lunchbox. What country produces the most coffee in the world? Amy threw her hands out like she knows that one too. I do. The worst is when someone misses it and they just are like, oh. I do. It is frustrating. Columbia. What would you say, Amy?
Starting point is 01:04:31 Columbia. Brazil. Oh, when you took your hands up. Yeah. Yeah, well, I would have gotten that wrong. But Colombian coffee just seems right. You've been bowed. You've been bowed in lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Okay. Wait, why are you yelling at me? I was with you. Well, you did throw your hands up at his question. You looked like it was an easy question. That's why I did. Eddie, what country celebrates the storming of Bastille? What? Why did you raise your hands at lunchbox?
Starting point is 01:04:55 Because it's so easy. Is it? The storming of Bastille? Do you guys even know that? No. No. Okay. I know it.
Starting point is 01:05:03 You do? Yeah. But he also said, okay. No, I said, I didn't know the coffee. Then he yells, Pakistan. Okay, so what is it again? The storming of what? Bastille.
Starting point is 01:05:13 Is Bastille Spanish? See, that's, I'm thinking of the running in the bulls. The storming of Bastille. Where's Bastille? Bistilia. If you miss it, lunchbox is still in it. Is it? Italy?
Starting point is 01:05:25 country is your country man bastille Bastille Hey we stormed the Bastille Italian or Spain It's got to be one of the two Bastille Let's go Spain
Starting point is 01:05:39 What would you say lunchbox? It's France See that's why you guys have to stop doing though Because you never do Eddie You've been Beau Unless Morgan doesn't get hurt That's true
Starting point is 01:05:51 Morgan if you get this you win and you get a point I know I really need one Let's go Morgan Let's not get it right. It's in the category is music. Okay, you can do this. What country did the band ACDC originate in? Yes. Oh gosh. Are you kidding?
Starting point is 01:06:05 Yes. So sad. Okay. ACDC is a rock band. Nice. That's true. That's true. Well, if they, maybe the United States is what it is.
Starting point is 01:06:19 I mean, it's a rock band. But it could be like England. It could be like Australia. I mean, I'm shooting darts here. I have no idea. So, United States. Man, you said Australia. It was Australia.
Starting point is 01:06:35 Oh! When you said it in lunch. I thought it was America. I'm like, oh, I know I did. You said Australia. I got a bow in you. Then we'll come back. You've been bow.
Starting point is 01:06:45 Okay. Wow, that was amazing. Yes. If she'd have got six and Australia. That would have been so cool. Okay. You three are still in it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:55 Morgan, you still have a shot. You get one question. Buzz in when you know the answer. By buzzing in, you buzz in with your name. Come on. Here's your question. What bones are babies? Ludge box.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Knecks. Knecks. They don't have kneecaps. That's right. That's right. Give it to me. I didn't even hear the question. Boom. Boom. They're born without bones. That's the question. What bone are babies born without and it's kneecaps? I won. Hit my song, Ray. I don't even need to hear the answer. Hit it. Go ahead. Ray, hit it. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Hold on. Hold on. You do have been bones. Ray just hit it. Oh, let's like jump to conclusion. Okay. The question is, what bones are babies born without kneecaps? That's great. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:35 When he does is he jumps in at risks every time and wins most times with a risk. You guys are all sitting back being concerned. Yeah, but I didn't even know the question. I know, but he doesn't. He figures out the question. He even guesses at the question sometimes. No, he knew exactly that they didn't have kneecaps. This guy's the winner.
Starting point is 01:08:05 That was awesome today. Okay. Lunchbox is the winner. Nice job. You get you a point. That's a good win. That's a good win. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two.
Starting point is 01:08:18 Lunchbox pitched possibly his worst segment idea yet on the show this week. Another thing that I'm not going to divulge too much into because you just have to hear it all go down for yourself. But Ray, people online after this segment aired, we were claiming it to be like the worst segment idea that's ever happened on the show. But people were hitting us back. Like, I don't know, Ray's had some pretty bad ones. So I'm coming to the source.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Do you think you've had some bad segment ideas? I'm trying to look through my notes. Every day we all have to pitch segments. A lot of them are going to be bad. Have you ever talked to somebody that ends up getting a TV show that takes off? They did hundreds that were terrible. On this show, the only thing you guys see is 15 bits. Every day, there's probably 40-bit ideas pitch.
Starting point is 01:09:05 So there's, if you want to say that, there's 25 bad ideas every single day. Yes, I've probably contributed to that. But is there any that got put on the show and you're like, oh, that was pretty bad? That actually made it as a bit or got made fun of and rejected segments. It could be one or the other. Because these are obviously ones that they've heard at some point. These aren't the ones that are secretly in your email that they've never seen before. This is them speaking from their listening time, like as a listener being like, I don't know,
Starting point is 01:09:33 race came on and done some weird things. That you can recall from your memory. You got me on the spot. I know. I don't know. I mean, I guess anytime I talk about like, I don't know. Well, you've pitched some crazy ideas like per shark tank, right? Well, those were all good segments because those were actual legit businesses.
Starting point is 01:09:52 We did Nooner where you would just take a nap in a pot at noon. We'd go to companies and instead of, you know, you take a lunch break, you take a nap break. And then we also did turn down for what where me and my associates would come to your house, help you turn down everything as you're going to bed. So you don't have to worry about the kids, the animals, cleaning up the dishes, whatever. So those were two great ideas. And I think they led to good bits. But all things that never came to fruition, right?
Starting point is 01:10:17 Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Just because it's a bit doesn't mean we're going to make the business. We thought about it. No, but hey, you never know. You did make a business with your wife. A little Etsy business.
Starting point is 01:10:28 Yeah. I mean, that was all her idea. And she goes, are you down for it? And I was like, I mean, I'm never going to be negative. I'm always going to be neutral or maybe positive. And so that's what I said, if you want to do it, you do it. And she did it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:10:39 So the times that I've ever heard you in a negative space, you're being sarcastic. Sure. Is that correct? Well, no, no, with friends. If you consider somebody a friend and you give them your aspirations, what you want to do, they should never be negative. They can be neutral or they can be positive.
Starting point is 01:10:54 But if they're negative, I wouldn't consider them a friend. Yeah, that's true. So when your wife pitched this to you, you're like, okay, I'm either neutral or I'm like positive with her. She pitched it after a night of drinking and she's like, I'm going to go get all this stuff at Michael's a cricket machine and a printing press and a heating press and we're going to ship stuff. And I was like, if you really want to do it, I'm all in.
Starting point is 01:11:11 And she was like, I really want to do it. But it started as we were just going to do presents for family. Now all of a sudden we got a freaking heat press in our kitchen. Okay? And we ship more than UPS locally. You know what I'm saying? Did you? I mean, but you know that you've had to have crazy ideas in your life.
Starting point is 01:11:32 And she went along with him, right? Yeah, yeah. She, I mean, crazy, crazy, crazy ideas. Like with the show, yeah, we'll do where I smash her. a watermelon between my nuts. Sorry. Okay. It was your legs. I didn't mean to say that. But no, I mean, her family hears that. So yeah, that's to
Starting point is 01:11:49 them crazy, but also they're like, he's part of a wacky morning show. We get that. Or the times I've had to eat like a bunch of, it was Easter time, I'd eat a bunch of peeps. There was a time I had to eat actually a watermelon. There was a time where I had to eat a banana, I think, still in the peel. I mean, all these eating bits are the dumbest
Starting point is 01:12:05 thing ever, but it's funny to listen to in your car when you're driving to work. So that's my job. Okay. Well, I just wanted to give you the space to say something back to all these listeners that were hitting us up on social media about lunch is a really terrible bit yes but then like coming back and saying yes this is awful this is a terrible one but also ray has had some really bad ones i have had really bad ones and usually it involves something probably with my cat something with my i think one time i pitched a bit where i was like we're going to do rays this never made the air but it was like raise um a story from my local
Starting point is 01:12:38 newspaper because nothing goes on in my hometown. So I was going to read a story from my hometown that was absolute nothing news just to show how boring my hometown is, but that never got picked up. And you actually seem bored with the bit. I'm sitting here like, yeah, that makes sense why I didn't get picked up, right? Well, I mean, you know, like we write in this show prep and then you look at it like months later and you're like, oh, that was pretty bad. Oh, yeah. But sometimes the things that I think are the dumbest. Bones turns into very funny and the show is the most attentive and interactive to something that was so stupid.
Starting point is 01:13:14 So that's why I always like sometimes when I'm writing and my wife's there, I'm like, listen, it's going to sound dumb, but at 7.20 tomorrow morning, you're going to be like, okay, you were right. That was pretty funny. That's probably what happened with Crazy Ray, the Weather guy too, right? Oh my gosh. I blew my voice out for life because of that bit. That's why I never do it anymore.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Oh, you won't even do it a little bit right now. What's happening in Nashville, Ray? What's up Nashville? It's crazy Ray the Weather guy. guy there's a 70% chance of rain and 70% chance of Miranda Blake seeing each other on Broadway. Did you know their bars are right next to each other? They're right next to each other. How ironic. If you come to Nashville, you may have to go up in the air a little bit,
Starting point is 01:13:52 but there's a spot where you can take a... Do you mean the rooftops? What is it? 60 vines? Oh, yeah. 60 vines at 5th and Broadway. If you go to 60 vines, you're up there sky high and you can see all the Broadway. And if you look, there's a perfect picture you can take. where it's Miranda's bar and right above it is old red Blake's bar and they're right next to each other.
Starting point is 01:14:13 They are. Isn't that so strange? That's crazy. Out of all the places that you can be on Broadway. Yeah. I see that every time and I'm like, isn't that nuts? These are random thoughts of Ray. You are getting a peek into Ray's life right now. Oh man.
Starting point is 01:14:28 Okay. Well, we'll check this out right now. Lunchbox. He pitched his worst or what we're dubbing his worst segment idea yet. It has to do with our phone screener Abby and catfishing. Number two. Sometimes a segment is sent to me, and it is so bad, and that we would never do it, that we feature it in rejected segments. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:14:51 Rejected segments. And I really want to spend it on one segment because I would never do this segment, and it comes from Lunchbox. What? Lunchbox sent me a segment. I'd like to read it to you guys. Mostly, he's just like, I have an idea for a segment. Okay Lunchbox would like to catfish
Starting point is 01:15:07 Abby the phone screener Oh like that's his bit No that's so rude Wait because of the dating app thing Abby our phone screener was like She's like I go on first dates with people I meet on apps and then I never Talk to them again
Starting point is 01:15:19 They just don't want to go on second dates with me She opened up to us about that And now he went to mess with her No Hold on, hold on Listen to what I say And so I said Abby You just kind of dumping everything out
Starting point is 01:15:30 She goes sometimes we're going to first date It's three hours long And I'm like wait let's pull that back a bit. Let's not reveal so much early on. You could be scaring guys off. And so Lunchbox writes, hear me out on this, quote.
Starting point is 01:15:44 You gave her instructions to pump the brakes on spilling everything about her life when she first meets a guy. Abby said she always gets rejected after a first date before a second date. I want to set up a fake profile and catfish her to see how she's doing with her new instructions.
Starting point is 01:15:59 A, we then bring her on and say, any new guys in your life? So then she talks about this amazing guy and how great he is. We drag it out for a few weeks, and then we set up a date. When Abby shows up at the place, it will be lunchbox and we get audio of her reaction.
Starting point is 01:16:17 Are we okay with doing this? I mean, that is so good, guys. Tell me that is not a home run idea. That would be so... That's terrible. That's like people... That's so wrong. You're going to make her really fall in love
Starting point is 01:16:30 with somebody online or really like somebody? No, it's seeing how she's doing it. Like you get instructions from the teacher and to see if you follow those instructions so you go and you have a real life case study. That would have been perfect. He clearly has not seen clickbait. You clearly have not been around anyone who's been taking advantage of by someone faking as a catfish.
Starting point is 01:16:50 You guys need to have some fun with people and that would have been fun. Abby would have learned something. We would have all got some great entertainment. Abby, what do you think about that? I'm saying no to this, obviously because I'm revealing on the air what this segment was. Yeah, no, I think that's terrible. I already have bad luck. Why would you want to add this to it? Like, I've not had good luck in the future and now. What would you do, Abby, if you found a guy you really liked and we asked you on the air and you're like, you go on on the date and you
Starting point is 01:17:15 go and it was all set up by us? Oh my, that would be, I'd be really mad. And probably feel betrayed. We did you let him do that. Yes. Not cool. So we are not letting you catfish one of our staff members here. Oh, man. I'm not letting that happen. Morgan, let's go to you. You have a boyfriend now. I'm assuming still together? Yeah, we're still together. But recently as the last year, you were dating online, how would you feel about if we did this segment? No, I would be so mad. Like, I have talked to guys online before, and they didn't turn out to be a certain guy. And just that, and I never met up with them. So if I met up with somebody and that happened, I would be furious. Like, I probably would quit. The show? Yeah. I would probably be like, yeah, I'm out. I tap out.
Starting point is 01:17:56 I just, I think it's a very personal, mean thing to do. Guys, it was a learning experience. for her. A, be careful who you're talking to online. B, we find out if she's following the instructions Bobby gave her and C, we get great laughter when she shows up and she's like, what are you doing here? And I'm like, I'm George. That's the name you'd go with George. Just the name that bottom of my head right now. I couldn't think of a cool name. Okay, if I would have said, hey, lunchbox wants to do this segment, but we've been off the air and I was really asking your advice. What would you have said? No. Dang. Entertainment value is very high. But what would you have said?
Starting point is 01:18:30 Yes. Wow. Thank you for being honest. Wow. That's what I'm talking about. I'm going to up my no with it. If you decided to move forward with it, I would have trouble being here for the show. No, it's true.
Starting point is 01:18:44 Like that's so wrong. You would quit. No, stop. I didn't say I'd quit. I would have trouble and I would be very disappointed in Bobby. Yeah. But you're not because I would never do that. Morgan, again, off the air, if I pitched this to you.
Starting point is 01:18:58 Yeah, no. No. Ray? Yeah, it'll end friendships. So it starts, it's all fun in games, but at the very end of it, I mean, there would be people in this room that are not friends anymore. So you would say, no. Why would you do that? Scuba?
Starting point is 01:19:12 He's laughing. He likes it. I personally love Dick. We talked about it. But I think on the personal side of it, the human side of it, is wrong. But for a show, I'm all about, you do whatever for the show. I would say for the show, yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:26 That's just me as a morning guy. You do whatever it takes to make a great. To the film show? To fragile Abby? Abby personally, it's wrong, but for the show, heck yes. You would have said yes. Okay. Just wonder what everybody thought about it.
Starting point is 01:19:37 Man. You would have been voted out anyway, but it would have been four to two. Wait, how long would this have gone on? Three weeks, he wanted. Three weeks? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Okay.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Should they definitely fall in love. A lot of chatting there, you know what would have? But your wife would have been like, what are you doing? I'm over here, catfish and Abby. Hold on, I got to take a picture of this. I mean, what? A picture of what? Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:19:59 Okay, we're not doing the bit. That was rejected segments. It's the best bits of the week with Morgan number two. I'm combining two segments to come in at the number one spot this week because they go together and it was just a whole lot of fun things happening. So Bobby, Eddie, and Lunchbox had to watch the first Harry Potter movie and then come back, answer Harry Potter trivia, rate the movie. If they didn't rate it a certain score, Mike D had to get.
Starting point is 01:20:29 get punished. And, you know, they didn't rate it very good and Mike D did get punished. Only one of them actually liked the movie. That's, that's like a little small recap, but there was a lot happening in these segments, right, right? Yeah, so much. But it was really fun. Have you seen the Harry Potter movies? Yeah, so I don't like talking about X's, but my ex post-college told me about Harry Potter and how great they were. So yes, she made me watch one or two of them. Well, I mean, I want to know like your genuine input. Like do you actually love these movies? Do you hate them?
Starting point is 01:21:06 Are you happy that you watched them when you did? It was fantasy. So it's tough for me to really grasp fantasy. I don't think they were made for me as a 26 year old when I watched them. They were made for like kids. You didn't like that. It doesn't know what I'm getting. No, I didn't like them.
Starting point is 01:21:24 But at the time it made my ex, you know, think that I was interested in what she was interested in, so I watched them. But I would definitely say I did not enjoy them. And if I rated them, three out of five max. Okay, well, three's pretty good. At least like they were interesting. But it's not five out of five. The way Mike presented it, Mike D, he said it will change the way you live your life. And I have to say, no, it'll, it'll change how you like look at creepy shows that people are obsessed with. Like, it makes you then think people are very weird. Well, I will say, like I think movie series and I want to y'all let you think about it
Starting point is 01:22:00 while I tell this but I want to know your favorite movie series to think about that but I do think it matters when you saw them like I my mom read these books to me as a kid and then I watched them as a kid so I loved them right I was young and I grew up loving them but like I watched Star Wars right now and I couldn't get into the old movies I loved the new ones but it was really hard for me to like the old movies
Starting point is 01:22:24 my boyfriend's trying to get me to watch Lord of the Rings and I cannot for the life of me get into it Is this serious right now? Yeah. Wow. Because he claimed I love Harry Potter, right? But he claims Lord of the Rings is the best. But so what I think is happening though is that everybody thinks these are the best
Starting point is 01:22:40 because of when they watched them. I think it all matters when you watch them. And if you try and watch things back sometimes, depending on the genre of movie you like, you may not end up liking them. Regardless if they're a big pop culture thing. I agree with you. Eddie lunch missed the. window of when they were supposed to watch Harry Potter and they maybe never were the right
Starting point is 01:22:58 age for Harry Potter. So I think we need to scrap the bit because they're not going to like it. I didn't watch it at the right time and maybe I'm not supposed to be the person that's into it. It's like younger kids. I don't know. Kids with imaginations that want to be something. I mean, I was already into my, isn't it about fantasy and dream world? Do you like genres now of movies? Do you like fantasy sci-fi movies? No, I don't like a little magic carpet ride. I'm like, what is this? Like kids, you can dream. Real action or comedy or... Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:27 Like, I don't know, a tangible movie. Like, boom, that's a career. That's inspiring. Yes. Not some little kids walking through a forest and everything's like pixie dust and stuff. See, I think... So, like, if you are going to watch a pop culture movie that is like 20 years too late, right? Or 10 years or whatever.
Starting point is 01:23:44 I think you have to like that genre. Like, I love superhero movies. So me watching Marvel 10 years after the fact worked because I loved that genre. Okay. But, like, if I didn't, no, I'm not going to like those movies. I wasn't going to like him then. I'm not going to like them now. Listen, any of you dudes out there that work at a lumber mill like me, you're not going to like Harry Potter. It wasn't for us.
Starting point is 01:24:03 So then what is your favorite movie series? American Pie? Can I go that route? Yeah. I mean, it's a movie series. Isn't there like three of them? Yeah. It hit at the perfect time when I was in about to be middle school, high school, and it was so funny. It was so well done. And then, I mean, like, that's honestly one of the first times you saw like really hot chicks in a movie. And I was like, oh my. Isn't there nudity in those movies? Probably.
Starting point is 01:24:27 I don't know. I'm pretty sure. But, I mean, you watch those movies at our age group and it was like, oh my gosh. I can't wait till college. The chicks are going to be so hot. And what's college like that? Pretty much, yeah. Oh, it was?
Starting point is 01:24:39 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've seen the American Pie movies. I don't think that's on. Honey, I think the guys are going to start asking where you went to college, right? You can tell them. Tell them.
Starting point is 01:24:51 Oh, Texas State. Is that where you went to college? Shout out. Hey, and I get a. apologize to you because when I was in Kansas at Bobby Fest, I got caught up. We were in Wichita, and I was like, yeah, I was doing trivia questions. And I was talking about Morgan number two, you. And since I was in Wichita, I had Wichita on the mind. And so I said you went to Wichita State. But I know that you went to Kansas State. And I'm so sorry that I said that. I follow your life.
Starting point is 01:25:17 I know what goes on. I'm so sorry. I disrespect you like that. I mean, I'm surprised you didn't get it. I get every time I miss questions and easy trivia, lunchbox yells at me and the school I went to. People were straight up booing me though. They're like, it's Kansas State. Boo! I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I do love Wichita State.
Starting point is 01:25:35 Great basketball program, but no, I did not go to Wichita State. I disrespected you so bad, though. I mean, they both have state in them, but different cities, different colors. I know, no, no, I screwed up. That's why I'm not a host. I think that's why I got fired from Bobby Fest. No, you know what? I appreciate the apology, but I had no idea.
Starting point is 01:25:51 To be fair, all of those people in that audience respected you. enough to not reach out to me. I had no idea that happened. I told no, no, they did, they did listen to me because I was like, guys, do not tweet her that I screwed up her college. I was like, in our world, that's a sign of disrespect. But I did tell him you were recovering beautifully from COVID. Oh, yeah. Because you talked about it on the show. All right. You're like, crap. Was I allowed to say that? Ray out here just like disrespecting me from this. This is where I learned like Ray's been backstabbing me and I'm like, what's happening? It seemed like it, but I was not. No, that's
Starting point is 01:26:22 I'm glad. Did you like Wichita? Yeah, it was cool. I think it's called Old Town. Yeah, you went out? Did you go out in Old Town? No, no, no. We were just there for two hours. Oh, yeah. But I go, guys, this area, Old Town, there's the little park, there's cool bars, trendy stuff. I could see myself partying and throwing down there. But unfortunately, I had to catch a flight in like 10 minutes.
Starting point is 01:26:41 So you left Wichtot pretty shortly after you host. You didn't get it like stay and go out. I hosted and I was doing the dunk tank at 210. My flight left at 315. Oh, wow. They literally security, boom. me to a car waiting to the airport out. And nobody was listening to me.
Starting point is 01:26:57 They're like, can we take a picture? And I was like, guys, I don't think you understand. My flight leaves in 45 minutes. Get the cat of my way. Dang. You didn't even get to, like, experience anything. We didn't. I mean, it was like, wham-bam.
Starting point is 01:27:10 I mean, yeah, growing up in Wichita, there was not a lot to do. But, like, I kept that city props because ever since I've gotten older, like, they have exponentially added so many cool things there. Like, I get it. Why people live and grow up there? As a kid, no, I ate a lot of chain restaurants. There wasn't a lot of exciting things to do. We did Sonic there.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Yeah. Sonic's good. That's good there. Oh, man. That's funny. Thanks for the apology. Again, had no idea it happened. Absolutely no idea.
Starting point is 01:27:34 Check those mentions because they probably told you. Oh, man. Okay, well, right now you can hear Bobby, Eddie lunchbox play some Harry Potter trivia, their reviews of the first Harry Potter movie, and then Mighty get punished. And he had to do the hot chip roulette. It was all good. A lot happened there and definitely some angry people afterwards. Number one. Tomorrow on the show, we all have to bring in our Harry Potter reviews.
Starting point is 01:28:01 Well, those that were assigned it. Yeah. What do you mean? You didn't get assigned it. I already seen them all. Oh, that's right. Me, you and lunchbox have to watch Harry Potter. That's right. The first one. It's two and a half hour long. Have you watched it yet? Most of it. Really? Yeah. Oh, man. Bobby was watching it on the airplane and I could see there's so many beautiful owls that I never realized before. A lot of birds. A lot of cool birds. Because I wasn't in to birds. The first time I watched it, and now all I could see in the screen in the corner of my eye was beautiful. Well, watch it again then. No.
Starting point is 01:28:26 I've never seen these movies, but I tell you want to slap the little Malfoy right in the head. Is he a bad guy or a good guy? Bad guy. Okay. The little Malfoy? Malfoy? You know, you like that. Not yet. Well, you better get to it.
Starting point is 01:28:39 It's too, you haven't until tomorrow. I get it. I have to cram tonight. It's two and a half hours long. No, it is? I just said that 10 seconds ago. Oh my goodness! I'm gonna spend all day to day watching this dumb movie.
Starting point is 01:28:49 No, just two and a half hours. Well, it's a lot. It's all my day. So what's going to happen is we come in. Mike's going to ask some trivia questions too to make sure we all watched it. And Mike was so sure that we'd watch it and review at least four out of five or he gets punished. Remember? It's not us getting punished.
Starting point is 01:29:07 It's him. Here are some of the punishments and we can decide which one we want to do. If two of us don't give it four out of five stars, he will have to get a small Harry Potter tattoo. Wow, that's intense. Or he will play that hot chip roulette Remember that really hot? You still have a hot chip. Or he's blindfolded
Starting point is 01:29:27 And there are three chips in the bowl And he has to pull one of them out blindfolded And eat that really hot chip. I love it. That one is hardcore. Might be even more hardcore than the tattoo. No chance. The tattoo's hardcore, dude. He'll put on the shot collar
Starting point is 01:29:42 and answer trivia questions. He'll give lunchbox 10 minutes of cuddle therapy. Love it. I'm leaning to down. That's a punishment for me. I'm not, so I have to watch a movie and I have to Mike,
Starting point is 01:29:55 have Mike knee hold me. Nah, I'm out. He'll have to dress like Harry Potter for a week. Yes. He'll have to go downtown dressed like Harry Potter and read a chapter of the book out loud. Hilarious.
Starting point is 01:30:08 So we'll think about all those. I feel like he, since he likes Harry Potter, he might not mind the tattoo. I think that too, honestly. And then serious? Yes.
Starting point is 01:30:16 I think, because he has tattoos already. It's not like some fresh virgin skinned boy. It's like probably when he's secretly wanted it. But now this gives him a reason. I would run away from that one just because I don't think that's a punishment. Yes. And then even dressing up like Harry Potter for a week, I feel like Mike D would be like, this is awesome.
Starting point is 01:30:30 I don't know. That's pretty hilarious. But yeah, reading a book downtown dressed up is weird. I don't know. I'm leaning towards cuddle therapy. No. That's a punishment for him, though. Tomorrow we will review Harry Potter.
Starting point is 01:30:42 And if one of you don't watch it, you'll have to do one of these too. Oh, I'll watch it. I'm bored already Let's do it Five questions Mike D's gonna ask us You have to get an 80% Okay And if you don't
Starting point is 01:30:56 You have to watch every Harry Potter movie That's the yeah What? If you don't pass the test This is crazy You have to watch every Harry Potter movie How many are there There's like 26?
Starting point is 01:31:06 You'll pass it Don't worry about it Write your answers down Let's go Question number one We all watched Terry Potter For the first time We did
Starting point is 01:31:13 Mike how you doing Good how are you All right first question How hard are these questions? They're pretty easy, I would say. I didn't make them too hard, not a lot of names, because I know you guys wouldn't know them. Thank you. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:31:25 What house does the sorting hat place Harry in? What? Now, if I don't get this name exactly right, is that okay? Yeah. Yeah, I don't know, dude. I feel like it's a pretty big part of the movie, though. It is a big part of the movie. But you said no names.
Starting point is 01:31:39 Because that talking hat goes on it. I get it. Yes, and it sends them to a, like a dorm. But they say this name throughout the entire movie. Yes. Oh, my gosh. I'm not going to get this right. And we just have to get it to where you know we know it.
Starting point is 01:31:51 Yes. Because I don't know that I'm going to say it right. I know how it ends. How what ends? The word or the name. Just write down what you think the answer is. Everybody in? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:06 Pins down? Yes. I have Glyffindor. Okay. Is that? That sounds right. Close. Is it close enough to get it right?
Starting point is 01:32:14 I would say close enough to get it right. Glyffind door. For you guys, I'll give you that. Eddie, what do you have? I have Thumbledore. That is not right. Dumbledore I mean, it's
Starting point is 01:32:22 Dumbled door, it's something door. Morgan, you need to, you're the Harry Potter, you be the judge on who's right and who's wrong. Okay. Because it has to be close enough
Starting point is 01:32:29 that you know we knew. Yeah, no, Eddie, no. That's a different name of something. Do I get, Giff and door? You get Glyffindor. It's funny, but you get it.
Starting point is 01:32:39 Eddie Dumbledore. Yeah, what? Isn't that a person? No, no, no. The wizard's something door, but I don't know what. It's a lot of doors and boost. Lunchbox, what do you have?
Starting point is 01:32:48 Hogwarts. No, that's... Oh, no. Morgan? No. Okay, we're in trouble. Okay, we're in trouble. Next up.
Starting point is 01:32:58 What platform do they use to get to the Hogwarts Express? Name of the platform. Oh, okay. The number. It's the number. The number. I remember that. You do?
Starting point is 01:33:08 Yeah, because they had to walk through that pillar. Yes, I get it, but I don't know the... And it was a little risky because can you actually walk through a pillar? Yeah, you can in Hogwarts. They weren't in Hogwarts yet. They were on their way to Hogwarts. I got it. I'm in trouble.
Starting point is 01:33:24 What do you have, Eddie? 55 and a third. Whatever it was, it was a third. That's... Or three-fourths. It wasn't... That's... You know, you watched it.
Starting point is 01:33:34 That's accurate. I watched the whole movie. Morgan, do you give them that one? I need to hear the rest of y'all's answers first. I don't give anything away. I know it. I have seven and a half. And I have nine and three quarters.
Starting point is 01:33:46 Maybe it's three-quarters. That's what it is. Yeah, it was between nine and ten. But... We're all idiots. I would... I think I'm right. It is nine and three quarters.
Starting point is 01:33:54 Yeah, he's right. But I think because we all knew it was a fraction, I think you should get that point. Thank you. Morgan, it's up to you, though. Oh. Guys, we watched the movie once. Okay, yes, you guys can get it right because it is hard to remember numbers from a movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:07 And names. Next one, Mike. All right. What is the name of the sport they play in the movie? Okay, I got that one. You do? Yeah, they even have like human leagues now where they play this kind of. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:34:20 They don't have human leagues. Yes, they do. Yes, they do. Yes, they do. People fly on brooms? No, but they play this game. Yeah, it's not, they don't fly on brooms any. I'm gonna get it wrong.
Starting point is 01:34:31 I think I, I mean, I... Guys, this is like, if you get this wrong, you deserve to have to watch everything. Are you serious? Hold on. Wow. I think I have it, but I don't, I mean, this might not even be the right name. What's the question again, Mike, by Harry Potter? What is the name of the sport they play in the movie?
Starting point is 01:34:47 Big part of the storyline here. So dumb. Oh, gosh, I hope this is it. I don't know. Can I describe the sport? We just talked about it. No, you didn't. I can tell you everything about the game.
Starting point is 01:34:59 I can tell you the name of the damn sport. Sorry. I'm frustrated. I spent two and a half hours watching this movie and I'm going to fail this test. Okay. I'm sorry. I apologize. Lunchbox, what do you have?
Starting point is 01:35:17 Quiddish? Is that right? I think that's going to be close enough. I have Kiddish, but I think that's going to be close enough. Eddie? I have Seeker because he's the Seeker on the game. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:35:29 Now it's Quiddish. I know it's quiddish. Mike, how do you say it? Quidditch. Quiddish. Morgan, do you give that to everybody or no? I give it to you at lunchmark. Eddie didn't get the name at all.
Starting point is 01:35:42 Yeah, Seeker is the position. Yes, that's his position. Can I describe the game to stay in? No. It's up to Morgan. Try me. I'll tell you exactly what the game's about. I'm not promising anything.
Starting point is 01:35:51 Everyone's on brooms and they have to get these balls and these three hoops, okay? And he's the seeker. He's trying to get the gold one. He's just trying to catch the gold thing with the wings. That's it. What's the gold thing with the wings called? Who cares what I call? That was my next question.
Starting point is 01:36:05 Oh, no. Oh, my God. The golden thing. I would say, I don't know. You can tell Eddie got that right. I mean, I watched the movie. I would advocate for you to get that right. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:36:13 But I'm not the judge. Morgan. I don't know, though. You didn't even get two of the main names of that game. I already told you I'm not going to be able to get names. I'm sorry, Eddie. I missed that one. Okay, next one.
Starting point is 01:36:25 What did Hagrid buy Harry for his birthday that Harry ended up naming Headwig? Got it. His birthday. Lunchbox is now clueless. Oh, my God. You named him Headwig, right? Correct. That's part of the question.
Starting point is 01:36:44 I know, I'm just trying to... Do you know that one, Amy? Nope. I'm surprised you don't know that one. I watched this a long time ago. Maybe Christmas last year? I've been feeling these two are going to punish Mike just to punish Mike now, even if they're just because they're not going to pass the test.
Starting point is 01:37:00 I don't remember what he got on for his birthday. Okay. I'm in. See, Eddie, this is hard, dude. I'm just a bad test taker. I feel like you guys weren't watching the movie. We watched the movie. I did.
Starting point is 01:37:10 Need an answer, guys. The only thing I remember him unwrapping is the broom. It's not it. Lunchbox? A dog. A owl? The white owl? It was an owl.
Starting point is 01:37:23 I thought he bought that at the stupid town. Ow. That was one of the requirements to get in the school. How did he... Next up, Mike, one final question. We'll end on an easy one. What are the names of Harry's two friends? I got that.
Starting point is 01:37:38 I struggle with her. Oh, those are the easy names. They're not, they're real names. Well, not one of them is. Let's go to lunchbox first. Yeah, that's easy. Go ahead. Dumbledorf and Elizabeth.
Starting point is 01:37:51 I think those are wrong. Ron Weasley, Weaselie, right? Is one of them? Correct. And Hermannini. That's Hermione? That's good.
Starting point is 01:38:01 Hermione. Yeah. Bobby's like, Hey, I want five for five, baby. You are. Eddie? We're always good as fun. I have Ron and Hermione.
Starting point is 01:38:10 You do? Yes. Got it. So what's the final scores here? Let's see. I'm so mad. Oh, three. Three?
Starting point is 01:38:21 You got three? I got three. Bobby's the only one who passed. Well, guys, I'm really sorry. You got to watch. You have to watch another one. We won't do the whole series, but you have to watch another one. Wait, why are you now?
Starting point is 01:38:30 Why are you going back on what you said? Well, because they're not just not going to do it. Yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot, guys. There's so many details in that movie that it's just, it's hard to keep everything straight. And everything's fake. It's not real, so it's hard to remember all that stuff. It's called fiction, Eddie.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Right. And you get kind of bored, so you kind of zone out, and it's like, oh, so. What's the second one they have to watch, Mike? Sorcerer Stone. No, that's the one we just watched. Oh, whatever. Okay, there you go. Oh, Chamber of Secrets.
Starting point is 01:39:02 You have two weeks to watch Chamber of Secrets, guys. Good grief, Eddie. And you have to pass a test. Oh, my gosh. Another test? Yeah, they didn't watch it. I'm sure last night they watched it as a side. Like, it was on while they did something else.
Starting point is 01:39:14 No, I watched the whole movie. You focused on it, and you didn't know kiddish. No. I can't remember the names of the game. You had two and a half hours last night just to dedicate to it. Yes. Yesterday, yesterday. I started at noon yesterday.
Starting point is 01:39:26 Must be real. I was doing this and doing this. that moving around and it was on it was on and i would try to hear it but i wouldn't like dialed in well what okay so it's time to to rate the movie to rate the movie eddie yeah i mean it was long you know very long but i got to say hey i like the movie i thought it was great and i was even going to pass the test and say i will happily watch all the movies because i'm in i love harry potter the first movie was fantastic are you sure you watched it I don't know that you've watched enough of it to know.
Starting point is 01:39:57 I watched the whole movie. So you're a potterhead? Is that what they're called? Is that what they're... Oh, really? They're really called. That's funny. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:40:05 Like a potterhead. I didn't even put that together. Yeah. That's funny. Eddie, what do you give it? Yeah, I give it five out of five. Five out of five. I get it.
Starting point is 01:40:13 I understand why everyone loves that so much. I'm ready to watch the next one. The Chamber of Secrets. Lunchbox? Wait, I'll go. Okay. I'm torn because I wouldn't watch the second one. just after watching the first one.
Starting point is 01:40:27 I don't want to either. Well, you have to. Oh. And I have to give it four out of five. I know lunchbox isn't going to give a four out of five. Lunchbox, you go ahead and go. Look, guys, I wasn't dialed into that movie because it, from the jump, it's just a bunch of out with the darks. I mean, I can see how people love it.
Starting point is 01:40:46 I understand that. But it's just not my type of movie. And so once I watched about 20 minutes, I was like, I can do other stuff around the house. I can hear it. I don't need to be dialed in. I give it, I mean, three. Because I mean, people like it, and I can see how they like it, but it's not my cup of tea. That's a dorky movie.
Starting point is 01:41:06 And I don't want to watch anymore. But now I have to because I'm a bad test taker. Should I rate it on what I think everybody, how America feels about it or myself? You, you. What you feel? Or how I would have felt about it if I watched it back in it. No, you can't do that. You got to do today.
Starting point is 01:41:19 I just don't want to screw Mike over making me a hot chip, you know? Right, but Mike said. Oh, he gets him a tattoo. Bones Mike's? He wants the tattoo. Oh, Mike came in and said that he... It would change our life. Who we are today, you're going to love this movie.
Starting point is 01:41:31 Mike, I need to know your rules because it's going to... I'm going to evaluate it differently. Go ahead. Is how you felt about it. Three and a half. Sorry, buddy. What is he going to have to do? Hot chip roulette.
Starting point is 01:41:43 One of those really hot chips. I liked it enough to where if Caitlin was like, I'll watch a second one, I would be in. Did she watch it with you? Mm-mm. But I'm saying I would watch another one, but I didn't like love it. Really? Mm-hmm. I thought the storyline was great.
Starting point is 01:41:58 I knew all the answers. Yes, you did. You have a great memory. Makes me want to have a broom, but do my hand over it. Yeah. Pick it out, right?
Starting point is 01:42:08 This also showed how we operate as people, like Lunchbox and Eddie watched it yesterday, like last minute, cray for it. Bobby started watching it last weekend. Yeah. So he remembered everything. Yeah, so he had time.
Starting point is 01:42:20 He took his time. He went ahead. Probably how he did college too, right? Exactly. He probably read the book before his master started. Exactly. Okay, so overall, it got like a 3.75 average out of five. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Mike, you're right. It's a good movie. I just couldn't give it a four rating it on how I felt about it for real, okay? And so if we don't like Chamber of Secrets, what does Mike have to do? Nothing, but you have to pass the test or your punishment that happens. Maybe you have to get a Harry Potter test. Okay, we're going to call quits on this bit for now. I will say good bit though, Mike Dee.
