Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. You're listening to a podcast. So maybe you're doing something else too, like maybe scrolling home listings on Redfin, saving places you like without thinking you'll even get them. Because that's what house hunting has become. But Redfin isn't built for endless browsing.
Starting point is 00:00:18 It's built to help you find and own a home. Redfin agents close twice as many deals as other agents, which means when you find a place you love, you've got a real shot at getting it. Redfin helps turn save listings into real addresses. Get started at Redfin.com. Own the dream. The Disneyland Resort is everything.
Starting point is 00:00:39 We came to play the Calliway. Felt like I was in the round-up game with Woody at Pixar Piers. Have you been holding out on us? No, just showing you where the real Hollywood stars are. Like Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Oh, there's jazz, right? And a drop. You'll see.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Grab a Mickey pretzel on the way. Girl, you'll read in my mind. We're almost there. Disney, California, at Thanksgiving. Enter Park and Disneyland Park, we came to play. Both park tickets and reservations require subject to restrictions change and cancellation without notice. Visit Disneyland.com for details.
Starting point is 00:01:06 And now for a bit of breaking news between your breaking news, with me, the Geico Gecko. Here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to Geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My phycas just heard that.
Starting point is 00:01:26 And finally, animal experts have confirmed the goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there. It feels good to get good news. It feels good to Geico. Spring is in the air, and a leaf's long-lasting pain relief is here to keep you moving. The days are longer. The flowers are blooming.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Whether it's gardening, yard work, or just spending more time outdoors, spring has a way of getting us moving despite any body pain. That's where a leave can keep you going. With just one dose, a leave gives you long-lasting body pain relief for up to 12 hours. From sunup to sundown, a leave's got your back. Try a leave. Use as directed for minor aches and pains. The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show.
Starting point is 00:02:10 After the show's over, I just hop on and read text and I read tweets. And later on in the show, we do the draft of cowboy hat wearers. And where people go, they're like, oh, these are three I would pick. I don't think people that write that understand yet. You can't just pick three people. You have to wait another people to pick. Yeah. Then you get another pick.
Starting point is 00:02:28 It's all dependent on where you are. in the draft line. So people were like, well, my three would have been George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Woody.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Well, no, no, they were all taken in the first round. They may not have even gotten to you. So. Yeah, those were
Starting point is 00:02:40 my three picks. George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Woody. Oh, if you got the first pick. Yeah. Yeah. So that's one of them.
Starting point is 00:02:48 You can go to bobbybones.com and vote. You'll hear that coming up in a little bit. We did that. I also in the show later on talking about how my brain's messed up
Starting point is 00:02:55 a little bit and I'm not able to kind of recall things sometimes. and not just memory, but even I feel like I'm walking on a street trying to find the end, and all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:03:03 I can't find the end. I just take a turn. I'm like, well, don't know where I was going. But someone just texted me, and goes, hey, Bobby, the memory thing is important. My mom had the same issue,
Starting point is 00:03:11 and she ended up having a brain aneurysm. What? Well, people don't write in where they go, you know, I had that, but everything was okay after two days. I know, but this is your warning. Yeah, well, listen, if I go,
Starting point is 00:03:26 I hope it goes like that. You don't even know. No, it's like, walking down a sunny day, boop-ed-da-boop gone. Yikes. That's how you want to go, right? Yeah, I guess so. Yeah, who wants it to be long, drawn out and painful? Me?
Starting point is 00:03:39 I don't want it to. No. If I was on a plane? I was thinking who. Just like, yeah, that's why I have no problem with flying. Like, oh well. But you could be in a crash where it's... That's what would happen to me because I would survive.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Gosh, you'd be the only one or two people survive. I'd be one of them. I'd have to go through that. Ugh. Because I'm a survivor. Yeah. I'm a survivor, no one to give up. I was thinking more like Riba.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Oh. The intro song to Riba. Because I'm a survivor. People are saying I need a song when I win games. Well, I mean, you're not going to play that many, are you? Well, I address later on in the show that people get irritated when I play because I get into it. And at times I can be a bit cocky because I just am trying to win. And someone wrote hashtag go cocky Bobby.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Like, people kind of like that. everyone likes that that person. Not everyone. I did read a story yesterday that talking trash. Who sent that in? Ramundo did. Hey, Ramundo, you know that story that you sent me last night about talking trash and competition
Starting point is 00:04:40 is actually better for the person that's doing the trash talking? And that people receiving the trash talk perform worse. Exactly. That's why these athletes, NBA, NFL, NBA, or MLB, that's awesome when they're cocky. And now they're saying that there's studies that show that if you're cocky and you talk to them stuff on the field and court, you're actually giving yourself an advantage. Oh, so is that what we need to do? I think if it fits to your
Starting point is 00:05:05 sensibility, you should continue to do it. I don't see you doing that, Amy. Yeah. Oh, man, I was just trying to think of something like intimidating. Like you like, in your face. You can be like, I'm going to beat you down like your forehead looks. Yeah. Oh, wow. Be like, what? Rinkly? I'm going to beat you like your forehead looks. beat up. Your forehead does not look beat up. I know. That's a pretty good forehead.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I was looking at it yesterday. God, I'm glad you were looking at it and loving it. Self-love. I walk by every mirror and I'm like, how's my forehead today? You really put that in me. I regret that I ever said that. And it wasn't me.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I was repeating. But I still said it. Did your friend get a bunch of tweets about that when you said that? She did. She got some direct message. I guess some listeners that put two and two together that it was her sent messages. And then she sent me, a screenshot of your Instagram,
Starting point is 00:05:57 which is where she had pulled it from. She follows you. She thinks you're great, by the way. But this is her job. It's her passion. This is what she loves to do to people. And so she kind of like sent the needle emoji everywhere she would like,
Starting point is 00:06:09 she was like, maybe she's a little here, here. And I thought you had done an Insta story with the needles. And I was like, oh, man, I really put a complex in Bobby and I did not mean to do that. But she was like, no, she wanted me to show it to you. Like, it wouldn't hurt. It's called BroTox.
Starting point is 00:06:21 Here you go. How would you feel like? Letty. What, have you did it? No, if Amy said that to you about your face. I'm with you. I'd feel the same way. I have a look at myself in the mirror all the time. You're like, do I really need Botox?
Starting point is 00:06:32 And yeah, it would hurt me a little bit. I'm sorry. You're not, though, because you just did a whole segment. You just had a whole, like, monologue. You asked me if she got messages, and I'm saying that's what she showed me. I know, and then you went to a whole thing about it. Like, when she said it to me, and I was just repeating what she said, and I should have thought more about it and thought about how it would make you feel,
Starting point is 00:06:49 and I should have just kept it to myself. I should have. I truly believe that. that and I'm sorry. But I think when she's talking about it, it's something she does every day, so it's not a big deal to her. So she's like, why wouldn't he want to do it? It's no big deal. Because I don't like needles either. Right. Does it hurt? How much it cost? Can I do it right now? Will you come to the studio? Yeah. Do it live. Oh, we're doing it live. Can we do it during Chipotle? Yeah. That'd be great.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Tomorrow. She shoots it up during. Um, interesting. I bet she would. I'm looking at. In that case, it'd probably be free 99. Excuse me. how much it was. Is it expensive? Yeah, because especially because it's like a luxury, it's like you don't need it. So you feel like you're just like... Can I put in other parts on my body the wrinkly? Can you shoot it anywhere? Let's try it there first. I mean, yes, it relaxes the muscles everywhere.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Oh, is that what it does, relaxes muscles? Yeah. I mean, I thought it like froze muscles. Somehow relaxing them makes them chill and they're not like all. Well, I get chill. That's why people smoke weed, right? You relax and you chill?
Starting point is 00:08:00 I thought it, like, made it hard. No. That's what I want. There's something else for that. That's a different fill. Like a Viagra cream? There we go. And then watch it go.
Starting point is 00:08:14 What do you watch it go? Stop it. I do want to ask this real quick. I got this text about changing a diaper on an airplane. I was going to ask lunchbox about this. What are your opinions on changing diaper on a plane? I personally think it's hard to change a diaper in the bathroom. I normally change my child's diaper in the seat if it's not a poopy one on a plane lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:08:32 You have a baby right now? What are your thoughts? Look, whatever is convenient for you. Wherever you can change a diaper, you change it. It's easier probably in the seat because that bathroom is very cramped. So I say, you know, put down the little tray table, change it right there at your seat. Yeah. And, no way.
Starting point is 00:08:46 No way. People eat food on that thing. Hey, sorry. They got baby wipes that they can wipe it down with afterwards. I say you got to go to the bathroom and do it. It's not like you can't do it. Amy, your thoughts? No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:09:00 I mean, I feel like you have to go to the back or find, like in the seat. Like, what if it leaks or something happens, even if it is just pee? Somebody has to come and sit in that seat next, you know? Or the person you're sitting next to. Yeah, and then it smells. I mean, it is danger because, like, when you take that diaper off and they maybe start going again, I mean, you get spray all over, but got to be quick. With the boys, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:24 You got to go to the bathroom to do that. I know. I know that it's got to be so hard and I haven't ever been in that situation of having a baby in, you know, in a confined space like that. It's got to be rough. But yeah, bathroom it up. There's no place in the bathroom, though. Well, then airplanes need to fix that. They don't have baby changing stations. No. You can't just put the toilet down on top the toilet. That would be the only option. You'd get on your knees and. Yeah. You don't have to get on your knees. I often change myself on the toilet. What? I've been changed myself on that. Do you know? Hold it down. It's just the big process in there. The whole thing. Listen, we don't have a lot of time today because I got to hop over to this meeting. Anything you want to say, Amy?
Starting point is 00:10:02 I'm like, I feel like you look good just the way that you are. Just the way you are. I feel like you're beautiful inside and out. Do you know who sings that? Just the way you are. Billy Joel. Oh, that's not who I had. I think I had Lionel Richie in my head.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Yeah, Billy Joel. Lunchbox. you want to say? Sword Losers podcast, Eddie Ray and myself, we're going to be doing another episode today if you want to download it anywhere you listen to podcasts. Eddie, anything you want to say? Yeah, we were pretty argumentative yesterday, me and lunchbox on the podcast. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:10:38 Yeah, we just had a bunch of arguments. I think we're good now. Like, I kind of want to get your advice too sometimes on the podcast thing because, like, I feel like we work out a lot of kinks on the podcast. Like, if we feel like we have ideas of how to change the podcast, we talk about it on air. Is that like? Yeah, it just depends. If you do it all the time, then it's just part.
Starting point is 00:10:56 of the fabric of the show. If you only do it sometimes, it can get annoying. Okay. People have to know, they can have an expectation of what they are getting when they download the show. People don't like to hear people fight. Yeah. Like, we used to do that.
Starting point is 00:11:08 People just don't like it. So you can debate, but I wouldn't say mean arguing. I just wouldn't do that. But I don't know. Which question? I'm in the Radio Hall of Fame. Right. That was it.
Starting point is 00:11:20 That was my question. Kind of just like, we just, like, if somebody brings up an idea, we just shoot it down and be like, no, that's dumb. And we need, actually, we need a better open or whatever. We'll talk about what we need to change. That's funny. If at long as it's funny, you can do anything as long as it's funny. As long as it's compelling, you can talk about any subject.
Starting point is 00:11:36 But sometimes we get a little too into ourselves and think we're way funnier than we really are when you're doing the inside stuff. Yes. I have no idea what you're talking about. So it can get a little too inside sometimes. Yeah. Well, we're having fun. We're having fun doing the podcast. It's all that matters.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Do you load them all up or do you just do it for yourself? What? The podcast? Yeah. No, we do it? We load it up. I'm kidding. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:11:57 You just do it for fun. You just hang out and do a practice show. No. No, no, no. They go on, Bones. Okay. Morgan number two, anything. Follow the show at Bobby Bones show on Twitter and Instagram.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Why never yourself? Very unselfish. Hey, I was about to at Webgirl Morgan. What is it? At Webgirl Morgan. Webgirl. You have a frog in your throat? It was like she was talking on the cell phone with a bad connection.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Yeah, yeah, yeah. good. I think I'm convinced that whenever you start to talk to me, I get nervous and then I like go back. Real nerve-wracking presence, huh? Yeah, because I was doing really good
Starting point is 00:12:34 and then you started talking and it was like, whoops. Sounds good right there. Yeah, she's over it. She got nervous for a second. Then it comes back. All better. Can you wish my parents,
Starting point is 00:12:44 Daisy and Patrick, a happy 10th anniversary and being married. Thanks, Alan. Boom. Hey, Bobby, since you finally get your shout out in your bike class, how about you shout me out.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Danny from Iowa. Iowa loves you, Bobby. Boom. shout out. When is the next bus? What's that mean? Sometimes we have a bus that comes in and runs somebody over. Oh, is that throw someone under the bus?
Starting point is 00:13:05 I don't know. I got to throw someone under the bus today. For gambling? Yeah. Ray did. I don't know where. Ray was like, I'm taking my money. I'm going to spend it on what Eddie spends.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Greyhounds in the middle of the day gambling. Why would he bring that up? Yeah, he did. Not that I care is just so, well, we're talking about that. My name is Lisa. I'm so disappointed. picked the greatest of all time John Wayne for their cowboy draft pick. It was on everybody's list.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Yep, it was on my list. But I don't, yeah, nobody, we only get three picks and we go in order. I mean, basically there are 15 picks. He didn't make the top 15. I would say it's the top 20 pick, though. I think if we went one more round, he probably gets picked. Yeah. I mean, Yosemite Sam should have gone.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Yosemite Sam. He's going to say that wrong? Yosemite Sam. I think it just, I'm not sure. Like, should have gotten drafted. That's such a good one. Like, I put it on my list last night, and I was going, Boy, that's an old loony tune.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Yeah. Like, it may be too old. The same reason I didn't pick John Wayne. Could have been too old. Pretty crazy about those loony tune guys. Like all the old voice actors have, I think they've all kind of passed now. It's okay to say, died. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:10 So now they have new ones, and a lot of them don't sound the same. Not exactly, yeah. And it's like, you're not Yosemite Sam. And even the processing on the microphones make a difference. Yeah. But y'all, varm it. I love that, dude. All right.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Thank you for listening. We'll see you guys on Thursday, but here's Wednesday's Real Life Radio show. Hope you like it. I hope you spread it on your Insta Stories. Please tag us. Morgan number two, seeing some of those tags and you share them when they tag us, right? Morgan number two? Yes, that is right. Not all of them, but some of them. They write a real nice message. We'll share them. Yes, only nice messages. At Bobby Bone Show. What are you laughing at Eddie? No, I was just waiting for her, nervous. Why do you? You're not really, that's a joke, right? Yeah. No, I know it's a thyroid issue. It just, it's, I've just, I've just, I've just, I've,
Starting point is 00:14:55 doing everything I can. It's just sometimes it comes back. Your thyroid's broken. My brain's broken. I can't even second. Oh, see? Yeah. It happened just right there.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I'm also really tired. We had, corporate was here. Amy had a whole day of corporate meetings on Monday with clients and so the big wigs flew in. And then I had all day yesterday clients and big wigs here from the other coast. I didn't get much sleep. That's all right. I'm so beautiful. You are.
Starting point is 00:15:25 so beautiful. You don't look tired. And the best part is, I mean, it's not, not only do you look good, but you have biggest heart. Thank you. What are you doing? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:39 I don't know. I don't know if people saw that on the video. I didn't see it. Thank you all, and we shall see you later. Here is Wednesday show. Bye. Starting point is 00:16:59 Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My phycas just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there. It feels good to get good news. It feels good to Geico. Let's talk about modern home shopping. It's sort of become a fun side hobby, right?

Starting point is 00:18:48 Transmitting across America. This is a business. Bobby Ball Show. That's right. Hey, welcome to Wednesday show. Morning Studio. Morning. I was reading this story this morning about how parents are running this new college scam for their kids.
Starting point is 00:19:04 They give up custody of their kids so those kids can get need-based financial aid. Wow. That's quite the process. Remember the big scandal with Aunt Becky? Yeah. And Felicity Huffman and, you know, they were trying to find ways to get their kids into colleges. they were paying tutors and sometimes the tutors would be like, no, they're on the rowing team. And they would Photoshop them rowing.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Parents are giving up legal guardianship of their children during their junior or senior year in high school to someone else, a friend and her cousin or grandparent. The guardianship status then allows the students to declare themselves financially independent of their families. And if they're only making $9,000 a year with a part-time job, they can say that because that's the only money they're making. And then because they're making so little, they can get financial assistance. Yeah. How about that? Quote, it's a scam. It's a scam now that they've...
Starting point is 00:20:04 It really wasn't a scam when people first started doing it because that's really what was happening. They really are going and being their own guardians. You know, it's a, I'd say it's a shortcut. It's not illegal until someone says it's illegal. Now it's illegal. They make a law against it. Right. People realized, oh, this is a way to do it. This is the thing.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Yeah, they're manipulating the system. wealthy families are if they're wealthy but wealthy people don't get wealthy by going I have money I might as well spend it okay wealthy people get wealthy by going how can I save money all the time
Starting point is 00:20:36 yeah you know what I mean so anyway what do you think about that I'm not into it it's sort of like but yeah no I wouldn't I'm not gonna I would never do that but what about the mailbox thing to go to a certain school how do you feel about that
Starting point is 00:20:50 like if you want to go to a certain school can you buy a mailbox in the school district and then go. All of that's manipulating the system. So if you think one's okay, but you don't think another's okay, it's only because you must be closer to one of them. Okay. Did you do that? No. No, but they did do it on Friday night lights. She got it from a show. Oh, they did? Yeah. They bought land. For football players to play on their team, they gave them that address and no one lived in that address. And did you, were you okay with that though? Buddy Garrity. Yeah. Shady guy.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Anyway, I read that this morning. Was Buddy Garrity? a good player? No, he's the dad. He's the dad. Was his son good? He had the car dealerships. He's the dad of the cheerleader. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:31 But he used to go to the school back in the day, so he's on the booster club. President, you know, tries to figure things out. He's hilarious. But Buddy Garrity would absolutely let his daughter emancipate or whatever become her own legal guardian so he could save money, I'm sure. And you know what? That'll hurt kids who actually have to become their own legal guardian. I know. Yeah, it's not a good thing.
Starting point is 00:21:55 No. Now that they've said, it's not a good thing you can't do it anymore. But then after you finish college, do they rebecome your parents again? I hope so, because you need that insurance. You can be on their insurance until 26. Yeah. I think that's what the rule is, right? Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
Starting point is 00:22:11 All right, we're going to do the draft here. First of all, Riley and St. Louis is on the phone. Hey, Riley, thank you for calling. What do you want to say? Hi, yeah. I just wanted to know how you pick your people for the draft. because to me it just seems like it's impossible and I feel like you do a ton of research on it. You would think that people would do a ton of research for things.
Starting point is 00:22:33 We kind of just go out of their heart. Like today it's cowboy wearers. Cowboy hat wears. Yeah. Cowboy hat wears. That's a different thing. Yeah, interesting. That's a different movie.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Yeah, and I heard that yesterday and I'm like, oh, I have a ton of people already in my head, but I feel like I just don't know how you decide which one's a pick. Well, Amy has the first pick. Who would you go overall first pick? Me, I'd pick Kenny Tazni just because he's my favorite. Solid guess. Okay. Are we ready to start the Cowboy Hat Wehrer's Draft?
Starting point is 00:23:07 Yeah, we're ready. Ready. All right. So, hey, Riley, thank you for calling. Hope you have an awesome day. Thanks, guys. You too. See you later.
Starting point is 00:23:14 We don't research, really. I mean, I made some notes this morning, and I sent him over to Mike D. I guess in case we had music clips, we sent him to Mike D? Yes. Can you load my picks up? I forgot. the research that I did. Bones,
Starting point is 00:23:24 be prepared, will you? I know my first pick, but I don't go until last. So Amy goes first. I went first yesterday in the draft rolls around. By the way, when you go vote at bobby bones.com, because it'll be up on the website today. We're trying to find an absolute method because people are accusing Morgan number two of cheating.
Starting point is 00:23:41 And I won't have that Morgan number two. They won't accuse you a cheating. I don't want to be accused of that. I won fair and square. Well, nobody thinks she's cheating. You brought it up. You did accuse. You were the accused.
Starting point is 00:23:52 No. It's just, Shady. Okay. I don't think it's shady. That being said, Bobbybones.com will have it up. You're not voting on the person
Starting point is 00:23:59 with the best guest. You're voting on the overall team, right? Which is why the draft goes in order. Amy, with the first overall pick of the Cowboy Hat Wearer Draft, you are taking... George Strait. George Strait.
Starting point is 00:24:12 All right, we knew that was going. Turn it up. Lunchbox with the second pick in the Cowboy Hat Wearer Draft. Who you got? Man, I went back and forth last night, I knew she was going George Strait, and I said, do I go the greatest of all time? And I said, yeah, I got to go the greatest cowboy hat wearer of all time.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Tim McGraw. Tim McGraw. Yeah, solid. You know, Tim McGraw gave me his cowboy hat from his whole residency in Vegas. I wear it all the time in the shower to bed. Oh, really? Yeah, it's amazing. When he's at home, Eddie alone.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Eddie. I'm so glad that it's still on the board. Cowboy hat wearer. I know who you're going to go with. Do you? Of course. I do. Really?
Starting point is 00:24:56 You have to go with Garth, right? Nope. You're not. I am not going with Garth Brooks as number one. I'm going with Woody from Toy Story. That was a good pick. I had Woody up there. Amy, you don't like that one? No, I do. I think it's great. Fantastic picket. Thank you, Bones. Morgan number two, cowboy hat wearer draft. Who you take him? I mean, I just can't believe you guys didn't pick him. I have to go with Garth Brooks. He's still on the table. I just needed one person to not take Garth. Dang it. Man, you got Woody and Garth.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Taken. I know. Those are my first two picks. That's all right. That's why I picked last this round. So now I have this pick. It's tough. I thought about Yosemite Sam.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Oh, yeah. Varmint? Yeah. Yes. I'm going to go. That's a good one. I don't write that down. Is it?
Starting point is 00:25:48 Yes. Yosemite Sam? Who's on who that is? He's... Lenny Tunes. Oh, yeah. The big red mustache. Got it.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm going to go with Alan Jackson. Oh, good, good. When you think of the Cowboys. Okay. That throws off my whole draft. Now, second pick, I'm going first on the second round. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:15 I'm going to go Kenny Chesney. Dang it! Yeah. That's smart. I'm going Alan Jackson and Kenny Chesney. No problem. Just like deleting people left and right here. So.
Starting point is 00:26:26 It's going bad. Morgan number two, it's your pick again. again, the cowboy hat wearer draft. Who is your second pick? He likes to wear or he likes to have a red solo cup in his hand. Oh. Mr. Toby Keith. Red solo cup.
Starting point is 00:26:40 I fill you up. Let's have a party. Eddie? Okay, here we go. A lot to choose from here. But I'm going to go with Clint Eastwood. Like old school? Ooh-o-oo. Yeah, Clint Eastwood.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Oh, wow. I hear that. I hear that. Make my day. So you're going like dirty. hairy Clint Eastwood. Well, no, no, dirty hairy like western Clintiswood.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Like straw. You know, I've never seen Dirty Harry. I guess I just assumed that was this. Dirty Harry, he was a cop in the city. The Good, the Bad, the Ugly. Yes. So you're going the good, the bad, the ugly, Kenny's Wood.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Yeah. Okay. Well, you've got two good ones. Sheriff's. Isn't it Woody Sheriff? Hey, there's law in Eddie's cowboy, Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Yeah. Okay, I like that. Ball theme. I like it. Lunchbox. Who is your second pick? Oh, man. There's a group called Brooks and Dunn.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I'm going with kicks Brooks. Brooks. That's good. Amy? Researching my list? You know, I went George straight to first round. I think I'm going to go with like sort of like another guy that I love in country music. Sometimes he sounds like George.
Starting point is 00:27:44 He's one of my favorites. John Party. Oh, I have John Party on my house. I thought he would be there for me at the end. I got the young and the old. Hang. Anybody else? Oh yeah, there's a lot more.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Like Amy, you're going to pick again. You're probably going to go naked cowboy in New York City. Oh, the guy on Times Square. Yeah. Oh, that's a good one. I didn't even think of him. I forgot about him. That is so funny, though.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Okay. That's like all he wears is that cowboy hat and mighty tides. Okay. Oh, it's back to me again. All right. Well, I'm just going, like, this would just be like an amazing concert to go to. George Strait, John Party and Chris Stapleton. Oh, Chris Tableton, solid pick.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Take that off. Wow. I mean Solid Solid third round pick I was staring at his Twitter Ready to pick him So I could tweet him
Starting point is 00:28:37 Say he's on my team But lunchbox This guy the first time I ever met him He cares about his cowboy hat So much he carries them In a bot He had a special carrier
Starting point is 00:28:46 That's my man Dustin Lynch Oh yeah All right Eddie It's just crickets Because I don't think he wears it anymore He does
Starting point is 00:28:56 He does every time in his concert Okay I like Dustin. I feel like he's a little too new for me to pick him on my... But again, I haven't won yet. Morgan No. 2 wins every one of the drafts. I haven't won, so it's hard for me to be like, a terrible pick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:09 And Dustin's a friend. I wouldn't want to yell at it anyway. A little too new for me. But John Party's not? John Party's like all the time, cowboy. I was watching John Party's Instagram story yesterday. Yeah. And he's like in Montana on a horse.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Right. Like wrangling cattle. Even the party Amy went to, he was dressed like John Party. Yeah. That's his get-up, like, all the time. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I love that.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Eddie. Okay, here we go. I got two big ones, but I'm going to go. All right, I'm just going to do it. He's looking down to the paper. I know, it's hard. I'm going Dwight Yoke him. That's a solid one at number one of us.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Come on. No way. Yeah. Solid one. Oh, that's a tough decision. All right, Morgan number two with your last pick of the draft. So far, Morgan number two has Garth Brooks and Toby Keith in the Cowboy Hat Wearer draft. I'm going to go back a little bit
Starting point is 00:29:59 to the 90s for me what I remember him. Mr. John Michael Montgomery. Oh, yeah. That's a good one. Black felt. Yeah. Oh, wow. Both of you guys coming out hard. Oh, yeah. Now, I have the only pick left. I'm going to talk it out a little bit. I was thinking maybe Clint Black. That's a good one. If you know if we're talking about old, like, throwbacks. That also was a black felt, Amy.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Yes. Obviously, Yosemite Sam was on my board. Which I still could go to. You can. I still can go to. That's so good. Because that's a character pick, you know? Maybe the cast of Brokeback Mountain have that. Oh, wow. Like, you can't really get Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal
Starting point is 00:30:34 unless you go, Heath and Jake Brokeback Mountain. Exactly. I did love that movie. I can't quit you. I can't quit you. That's how I feel about you. You can't quit me? What?
Starting point is 00:30:47 Thank you. On the show. Oh, right, right. Okay. I'm going to have to go with... What's he going to do? Well, I have Alan Jackson and Kenny Chesney as my two picks. And I'm just going to keep it right down the middle with country artists.
Starting point is 00:31:01 And I'm going to go with Hank Jr. Oh. Oh, that's good. Do you drink? Okay. Yeah. Why do you roll smoke? We don't yell the middle parts.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Oh, yeah. So I didn't go with John Wayne. I felt that was a little too dated for our audience now. Anybody have any other ones I wanted to mention? I have a strong one. Go ahead. Jason Aldeen. He wears that strong.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Solid, iconic. Yeah. Wow, you picked Dustin Lunch over Jason Aldine? Yeah. Interesting. Yeah, he did. Interesting pick. Anybody else?
Starting point is 00:31:38 Brad Paisley. Yeah. I mean, he was my choice between him and Dwight Yokem, but I went Dwight. All right, read your team out. Amy, you were the first pick, so read your team real quick. George Strait, John Party, and... Chris Amleton. There it is.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Nice round. That's a good. There's so many people in my head. Solid team. Lunchbox. I got Tim McGraw, Kicks Brooks of Brooks and Dunn, and Dustin Lynch. All right. Eddie. No, it's a solid team.
Starting point is 00:32:04 You're supposed to say that. Oh, yeah, solid, solid. Don't hate on my team. I'm not hating. I said nothing. No, but you said solid team to Amy and then mine nothing. It's cool. You guys hate, but that's going to get votes.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Okay. I don't want to lie. I don't feel like that's most solid of teams. Okay. I don't know if my team's that's all. I'm not going to say it after my team. Do you want to hear a solid team? Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:32:22 All right. Woody from Toy Story. Clint Eastwood and Dwight Freakin' Yokem. Ooh, you hit it with that freaking. You try to sell it a little too much. You caught that, you caught that. Like, I couldn't even remember my third pick
Starting point is 00:32:35 and then Eddie's like... Dwight freaking Yolkham. Yeah. Morgan number two? I've got Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, and John Michael Montgomery. You shouldn't win this one, Morgan number two. If you win this one, then we know that some things up.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Yeah. Yes. You're Russian. You're hacking the site. Yeah. Maybe she already did the analytics and she knows that this is what people want. Okay, and then finally I have Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, and Hank Williams Jr. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Pretty solid team, fias me. I mean, mine's the best. No, mine's better. Mine is so good. Bobbybones.com. Morgan number two, explain to them how they can vote because you're putting it up right now. Yep. So if they just go to Bobbybones.com, there's going to be an official poll and they can choose one.
Starting point is 00:33:18 They'll see all the selections and they have to vote for who has the best. Full selection. Okay. They'll see the full teams. Bobbybones.com. Yes. Starting point is 00:36:21 How do you flex your flavor? The Bobby Bones Show. Big Three Stories. Ramundo's got the news here on Wednesday. What you got, Remundo? Night one of the Democratic debate was last night. Highlights are online. Night two of the debates, tonight.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Sad news in Mississippi, a disgruntled employee killed two Walmart colleagues and wounded a responding police officer. The shooter was taken into custody. And finally, Holiday Inn Express is going to stop using many plastic bottles in the room bathrooms. They're going to help save the oceans. How do you feel about taking your shoes off on airplanes, just in general? In general, if you have socks on, not about bare feet in the plane.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Like if you have, yeah, no, I don't want you next to me. Like, if you had on sandals and I guess you're taking your shoes off, fine. But if you're like, taking your shoes off, taking your socks off, like, mm-mm. So I would agree, and I fly all the time. I was thinking about this. Eddie and I are flying to Chicago on Friday. And I was just wondering if that's a long enough flight to take your shoes off. because I think there's a flight time
Starting point is 00:37:23 and then there's also don't take your socks off. Yeah. Like, and keep your feet down. Yeah. Don't put them up on the... Sometimes people do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:35 So what's the rule? You can take your shoes off but not your socks? Yeah. Yeah. Did I ever tell you about the time I saw someone go to the bathroom on the airplane barefoot?
Starting point is 00:37:46 They had their shoes off and I guess they didn't want to put them on and they had to go to the bathroom and they went to the bathroom barefoot. That's gross. And airplane bathrooms are gross. But I don't have a big, and I'm a clean freak. But my bottom of my feet don't bother me if they're stepping really in something.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Oh, they bother me. Because it really doesn't touch anything as long as you clean them. Like I wouldn't do that, but I don't think I would be super grossed out by watching someone do that. I could not believe it. Which Fox, what do you think about that? Listen, I take my shoes off pretty much every flight. I use my shoe as a cup holder. That's where I put my bottle of water.
Starting point is 00:38:16 I have no problem with you taking your shoes off at all. I mean, I go in. I'm never taking my socks off. I've never felt the need, but I don't have a problem with it. If you see someone take their shoes and socks off next to you, do you care? No. As long as they don't put them on me, I've had one person stick their foot up from behind me on the window and use my armrest as their foot rest. And I had to go ahead and take my wife's book and hit their foot.
Starting point is 00:38:41 You could just say, excuse me, could you move? No, no, no, no. I would just elbow the foot. I just took the book and I hit their foot down and said, Get out. What? Yeah. Like don't put your foot next to me. It's my, first of all, it's my armrest. Right. That's how you're going to handle it. I'm just elbowing them. Yeah. Yeah, they didn't ask permission to put it up there. Wow. They basically elbow me with their foot as they stuck it right beside me. That's funny. What would you do? I would say, excuse me. Or I probably would just say nothing. Actually, this is what I would do. I'd be annoyed and I would say nothing. Kind of like sometimes when kids are sitting behind me and parents aren't making sure that their kids are behaving and the kids are all pushing my seat. And I get it.
Starting point is 00:39:18 kids do that. I have kids. I travel with them. And it is hard. It's difficult. It's annoying. But I make sure when they're doing that stuff to the tray and I'm like, I try to remind them, there is someone sitting in front of you. You need to be respectful. Some parents probably just give up though. They have to pick their battles with their kids. And if you don't scream, you can kick the seat. I do that with my dog. I'm like, all right, listen, if you don't eat my foot, have a sock. I just give up. Not that it's the same, but really it's the same. I'm basically a single dad, guys. Sort of.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Basically. I'm basically a single dad with a puppy. You guys don't even know what that's like. Okay, so our rule is socks are okay but don't take your socks off.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Yeah. If you want to take your shoes off, travel with some, you know, some footies. No one's going to do that. I do. Like fuzzy socks?
Starting point is 00:40:07 You also travel with like nuts and... And sanitizer wipes. Sourcrow. Yeah. Spinage. All of the weird stuff. She's basically pulling out
Starting point is 00:40:15 like a garden from a bag. My husband says you should never even take your shoes off on an airplane anyways because if something happens, you're not going to be ready to run. Ready to run off. And if you do, you're going to be stepping on things and you're not going to be prepared.
Starting point is 00:40:26 He does say that. He said that to me. There was a woman in the news and she got in trouble because she went to Sonic and they said, okay, here's your food. Where's your money? She goes, no, no, no. We'll put that on a God's tab.
Starting point is 00:40:38 This is God's tab. And then she got a rest of it because she didn't pay the meal. So lunchbox tried this, right? Yeah, I went to different fast food restaurants. and I just figure that if this lady can get away with it. Well, she didn't get away with it. Right, she didn't get away with it, but I wanted to see if it was possible
Starting point is 00:40:54 that maybe God had a tab at different restaurants that we didn't know about, so I thought I'd check it out. I'll do the four-finger plate combo, please. He's going to be 8-62. I talked to the man upstairs, and he said you just put it on his tab. He said that I could come here
Starting point is 00:41:16 and you take care of. of it. Yeah. You got his credit card? You're the man upstairs. Who is the man on the step-sat-dow? That's him. No, he didn't call it tell us that he would have made him to talk about. No good? No, not today, like.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Oh. All right. Thank you. So no chicken fingers for me. They thought you were a clown. They were like, yeah. Where's the credit card? All right, here's lunchbox. Where'd you go secondly? Uh, breakfast establishment? I'll do a classic oatmeal, please. Anything else?
Starting point is 00:41:47 That's it. 3.55. Oh, I talked to my friend GOD upstairs, and he said that he could put it on his tab. I don't think it works that way. No, no, like, I had a talk. I was like, man, working out and I could get some food. And he was like, go get an oatmeal and they'll take care of you. Just tell him to put it on my tab.
Starting point is 00:42:04 I can't do that. So you're telling me he lied to me? I don't think he was lying. I think you had misinterpreted. So I don't get the oatmeal? No. I guess I'll go have another talk with him. Hey, good for her, too.
Starting point is 00:42:18 That's a good answer. Because she's one, she's like, okay, this is crazy. You're a nut. And then two, she's like, no, I don't think he's crazy. I think you misinterpreted it. Hey, good for her, because that can't happen every day. Here's one more. Yeah, can I get a number one?
Starting point is 00:42:34 And cheese or without? Oh, without cheese. How much she said? 6.54. I talked to the man upstairs, my friend GOD, and he said, you guys would take it to put it on his tab. You can't put that on his tail. Put it on God's tab.
Starting point is 00:42:50 Oh, yeah. So you tell me I got it wrong? Yeah. Sorry. Thank you. So nobody gave you food? No one gave me food. I mean, two out of the three places, they laughed.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Like, they laughed like it was funny. Well, yeah, if someone comes in going, God's going to pay for this, you think it's a joke. I mean, the first girl, she tried to hide her laughter. She tried to cover her face. The third girl, she just laughed right in my face. There you go. Not the thing to do. Lucky didn't get the question.
Starting point is 00:43:17 cops called on you. Because that moment got in trouble, right? They did it. She must have stayed and just demanded. She's like, no, God's got this. All right, lunchbox, thank you. O for three. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two 32nd Skinny. Luke Holmes
Starting point is 00:43:33 was challenged by Thomas Wrett and the Dancer Donate Challenge on social media for the United Cancer Front. But Luke decided to donate because he didn't think anyone should have to see his horrible dance moves. I'm not much of a dancer. I'm working on it enough. for my upcoming nuptials in the next year or so I've got enough pressure on me doing that.
Starting point is 00:43:53 So I guess I'm just going to have to donate, which I think to me is a lot better than people seeing my horrible dance phase. Florida Georgia Line said that they weren't sending a message with their latest album title, Can't Say I Ain't Country. Brian Kelly said it's not necessarily a fireback or a rebuttal or an answer. It was just very necessary for them to put that out there because that's who they are and that's who they will always be. Childish Gambino covered Garth Brooks' alter ego, Chris Gaines' song, Lost in You,
Starting point is 00:44:21 and he added a four-person choir and some other instruments. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this girl Kelly and Danny, they were hiking, and they decided to go a different route. It's a place they've gone many, many times, but they decided we're going to go this way. They saw some wild blueberries.
Starting point is 00:44:57 They decided to stop and pick it. and in the bushes, they see a dog. And they're like, what is happening? Because he's really timid, looked really skinny. Turns out it was a golden retriever named Max. And his missing, you know, dog poster flyers were hanging out all over town, especially at a nearby resort. He had been missing for 11 days.
Starting point is 00:45:18 They recognized a dog from a flyer? Well, I mean, I think eventually once they called like the park rangers, everyone was like, oh, this is that dog that's missing. But he was so, like, dehydrated, exhaust. lost weight. The rangers had to like carry him out on a stretcher. It was a whole thing. But Max has been reunited with his family and everything is fine.
Starting point is 00:45:40 But obviously Kelly and Danny thought it was super cool because they don't normally hike that way. Had they not stopped for the Blackberries, they wouldn't have seen Max. So they just thought it was meant to be that they were supposed to find him. Well, not to quote some of the great historians, but I feel like this is a perfect situation for that. Here we go. If it's meant to be,
Starting point is 00:46:01 it's meant to be. Oh. Because baby, it'll be. It'll be meant to be. Yeah, baby. Mm-hmm. Yeah, babe.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Yes. It's a good story. It is. Yeah. Who said, was that? Is that one of the philosophers? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know which one.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Eric. Maybe two of them. Ah, there you go. There it is. There it is. All right. All right. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:46:22 That was tell me something good. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. No hurry up the day. This story comes to us from Orlando, Florida. A 25-year-old man walked out to a car to an intersection, open the driver's side door, said, get out of the car, I'm taking the car.
Starting point is 00:46:37 So he gets in the car, only problem's stick shift. And he only gets half a block because he keeps chugging. Brum, brum. Tries to get out of the car and run, but he's arrested a short time later. That was like in Amy's neighborhood. Yeah. I had some friends, and they have a Tesla. And the guys come up with guns and said, hey, let me get that car.
Starting point is 00:46:56 And so they said, oh crap. And then the guys got in the car and they were like, what's happening? We don't know how to drive this thing. And so they got out of the car and said, all right, you can have the car. We'll take your personal belongings. So then they robbed him of their stuff. But they couldn't drive away into Tesla. And I remember once Acon got his Tesla stolen.
Starting point is 00:47:16 And he went, all right. So they stole his Tesla. And then he pulled up his phone and hit the app and was like, okay, I see you're right here. And now I'm going to shut the car down. Oh. The worst car to try to steal. Yeah. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:47:26 And so, yeah. Or if you can't drive a stick, don't you, like, look at that before, like, don't you take a walk by and look in and go, is there a stick shift? And if there is, you probably go to the next car, wait for somebody else. All right, lunchbox, thank you.
Starting point is 00:47:37 I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and my... Mr. Bobby's bones. In a second, we'll talk about the things we're most likely to lie about early in a relationship. Okay, like, for me, this is a thing, because I'm dating.
Starting point is 00:48:01 But these are the things people lie about early in relationships. We'll get to that. coming up, and also, they have charged a kid criminally for an injury that happened in Dodgeball. Whoa. I'll talk about that in a second. First, is this Manuel in Nevada? What's up, buddy? Hello?
Starting point is 00:48:17 Hey, man. Hey, is it, Bobby? It is. You're on the show. What do you want to say? Oh, Bobby, I just want to say, I appreciate you guys. I'm a sheriff's deputy at the Texas Panhandle. And I'm on about hour 20 on his transport.
Starting point is 00:48:32 and I've been listening to the whole show in the entire way. I caught up the entire week on the podcast and yeah, I just felt like calling in this morning and see what's up. I think you're burying the headline a little bit here. Yeah, you got a prisoner? Yeah, you got a prisoner?
Starting point is 00:48:47 And what does he think of this show? And what did he do? I'm on my way to pick her up. Oh, her. See, we just assume that prisoners are men because men are scum and women are awesome. However, what did she do? She's a little amount of things.
Starting point is 00:49:00 For me, I'd have to drop from Texas Sandel to, we know Nevada. So she's locked up right now and you need to get her back to face the judge, the jury, and possibly the executioner. What? Possibly, huh? She said little things. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Yeah, it's not bad bad. But are you, don't forget to do things like, you know, make sure she's handcuffed correctly. It's always like in the transfer or wherever that's when they escape. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Watch out for roadblocks. Roadblocks.
Starting point is 00:49:35 Right. That she has set up by her people. And then you stop and you're like, is there a problem? And they're like, get her. And they get her out. Ambush. Wow. You think about that?
Starting point is 00:49:44 Yeah, I thought about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. What about when you stop for gas? Does she get to go get a gas station treat or no? No. No, she doesn't get that. She doesn't get that luxury.
Starting point is 00:49:52 I have a jailer with me. Oh, you have someone with you? Yeah. And who's that? He's just one of my partners that I've worked with for a while. Does he have to have to have. listen to the show the whole time with you? Yes.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Is he over it? Is he like, I cannot take any more of these guys? He actually enjoyed the segment on the power couples that yaw did yesterday. Oh, the draft. Yeah, we did that draft. You know what we're going to draft today? Let me ask you this. It's Manuel, right?
Starting point is 00:50:20 Yes. Okay. Manuel. Later on, we're going to do cowboy hat wearers in the draft. Who would be your first overall pick of cowboy hat wearers? I would say to McGraw. It's a solid pick. It's a solid pick.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I think he'll get picked today at some point in the three rounds. All right. Manuel, thank you for calling, bud. Appreciate that. And have a safe trip. And just be prepared. Thank you guys. We'll do.
Starting point is 00:50:49 All right. All right, bud. See you later. Be safe. I hope to see you in Amarillo. Oh, you come into our raging idiot show on Amarillo? I'm planning to. All right.
Starting point is 00:50:56 We hope to see you there. Bring a criminal. That'd be so cool. And the jailer. Yeah, no, he's sitting there with the jailer and the criminal. Yes, yes, yes. If you need to get a seat for another criminal, we'll make sure you have one. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Okay. We'll know them by the orange jumpsuit and the handcuffs are wearing. We're all good. All right, man, see you, buddy. I'll just tell my wife to dress up. Okay. All right. That works too.
Starting point is 00:51:15 There is. Mayweil everybody. Nice, there he is. Thank you. There's a kid who's been charged criminally for a dodge ball injury. It's like, okay, there's a game at school and you throw the ball and it's aggressive. And some people are saying dodge ball isn't a game you should play anymore. Camichie Linley says she was shocked when she got a call from the Wayne County
Starting point is 00:51:33 juvenile court last week and was told her 10-year-old son Bryce now stands charged with aggravated assault. According to police, Bryce intentionally struck the other student in the face with the ball. The student's mother says her son has a medical condition that makes head injuries especially dangerous and that he sustained a black guy, a bruised nose, and a concussion. Mom also claims her son was targeted. Lindley says neither she nor her son knew about the boy's medical condition, and she suggests a child with such a condition shouldn't be playing on the game. Isn't that where the problem is school, to let the kid with the condition playing the game.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Right. And if Dodgeball is going to be an issue, you don't have to play dodgeball. Listen, I love dodgeball. I think it's fantastic. But maybe it's not a sport for 10-year-olds. Maybe it's a sport for 15 and above because you at least kind of know what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:52:19 And maybe Dodgeball isn't the... I love dodge ball. Maybe not. It's not for school because it's just like there's too much that could go wrong. I don't know, but I mean, we played it. I loved it. And I love like butts up with a tennis ball.
Starting point is 00:52:29 When I was... But I got hammered in Dodgeball. I was a kid that got picked on. They would just slam me. And I hated it when I was 8 or 9. But look at you now. Look at me now. Look what it did to you. That made you who you are. Yeah, it seems like the school should be in trouble here
Starting point is 00:52:45 for letting the kid with the injury get out and played. Not the kid who actually took the shot. Because once you're on the court, game on, baby. Everybody's fair game. Hunting time. Little, small, big. Everybody goes... Everyone. Yeah. Here are the things that we lie about early in a relationship. Can I get a drum roll, please?
Starting point is 00:53:04 I bring this up, I'm single. Been dating. Are these things that you? No, I want to see how many I fit there on the top five. Which, by the way, you know, I mentioned I went to brunch with the girl. And a listener posted a picture, and I pulled my tag off of it, but she was sitting by me and took a picture of me and the girl. No way. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Morgan number two, do you see it before they took it down? I took the tag off. No, I didn't. But that's pretty funny. We talked about it. And she goes, here I am having a brunch with Bobby in his in the eyes. and she was sitting right by me at the table. And it was like top of her head.
Starting point is 00:53:34 She was acting like she's taking a picture of herself, but it was me and the girl I was with. If she's listening, re-post it. Don't, do not repost it. I'm just trying to live my life. But you're not telling us who you went to brunch with. Just say. Right. That's right.
Starting point is 00:53:46 It's not, she doesn't need her business shared. If it's just about me, I would tell you. Okay. Number five, people lie about their family. I don't really know what they lie about. I don't. I don't really have family. I could lie about.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Oh, but that's where you would make up this amazing family that you have. I think that maybe that's the case. It's like, oh, yeah, my family is so awesome and they do this and this is where we live. But really, you don't have it. Yeah. You don't, you're, some people might be embarrassed that they don't have. I've been judged for not having, coming from the best family. There have been people that, you know, I can't really go out with someone who isn't super close to their family.
Starting point is 00:54:23 I'm like, well, they're not alive. Yeah, that wasn't your choice. I don't know them. They left me. Right. Yeah. Oh, that sucks. Yeah, it sucks.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Number four, their job. Oh, how do you, yeah, I guess you're lying at the beginning. Maybe you inflate what you do. Yeah, I don't. Not you. But somebody, if you're trying to, like, you know, you're a lawyer, but really you're the legal aid. Yeah. Maybe if you're just trying to get a hook up.
Starting point is 00:54:48 Debt at number three. You lie about your debt early on in a relationship. Number two is spending habits. Try to keep, yeah. Which, again, rolls into debt. And number one, salary. So the top three are all money, money related. But when do you talk about salary?
Starting point is 00:55:03 Right. On a first or second date? Lunchbox's wife still haven't talked about salary. That's right. Have you ever on a date had somebody ask you how much you make? Nope. Have any of your girlfriends ever known how much you make? I know that it's changed over the years.
Starting point is 00:55:18 My last girlfriend had an idea. Excuse me? I said. Excuse me? We know it's changed over the years. And then you said something. Then what did you say? We've seen the growth.
Starting point is 00:55:28 And it's amazing. Thank you very much for noticing. I thought you said something else. Thank you very much. I thought you said significantly. Oh, no, I said seen it. We've seen it. So some girlfriends, you know, at a point you probably were fine with sharing it, but now I don't know that you would.
Starting point is 00:55:42 My last girlfriend had an idea. Mm-hmm. Okay. Yeah. Interesting. Do you know? Yeah, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:50 Okay. Oh, somebody said that, you know, they forgot a good celebrity, but a good couple. A celebrity couple? Mm-hmm. Well, celebrity couples. I know, but I just don't put us in the category of celebrities. Like, I'm shocked. They said they were shocked that nobody picked Bobby and Amy.
Starting point is 00:56:06 But I mentioned that. I mentioned that the day before. I didn't. I didn't hear that. I said, somebody mentioned my ex-girlfriend Lindsay and I, and then I said, or me and Amy. Because they don't have to be, like, romantic. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:17 So, ignore me. But the drafts are so fun. All the time. Are the drafts? I love the drafts. They come up in conversation with me and my friends, like, often. and I think it's like if you're ever looking for like a dinner conversation or you've got a group, like it could be something that come up like quickly around the table, pick your,
Starting point is 00:56:36 you don't need to do a three like we do, but you could do one or two. Morgan number two, what do you think? Are listeners liking the drafts? Oh yeah, they love it. They do? Yeah, they really do. I've been moving it around different parts of the day, so if people do hate it, they don't hear it twice in a row. Maybe it's a, you know, what they call a benchmark for a while.

Starting point is 00:59:14 I got pizza. I got chili crisp pot honey by Lee Kum Kee. Oh, I was thinking simple. I was thinking unforgettable. Wow. What did you do to this pizza? Just added a little sweet, and a little heat. I think I'm in love. Marry me. Careful. This stuff makes you say things. Chili crisp hot honey by Lee Cum Kee.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Grab it online or in stores. How do you flex your flavor? This Amazon driver was fired because she was busted for stealing a family's dog from their front yard while she was delivering packages. Oh, wow. You would think, though, with all the cameras, that they wouldn't do that.
Starting point is 00:59:57 And then she tried to resell it on Craigslist for $70. That is so sad. Yeah, she's 22. She's in Texas. She admitted to stealing a wiener dog. She was delivering Amazon packages with her boyfriend. He probably told her to do it, though. He was probably whispering in her ear.
Starting point is 01:00:14 Steal that dog. Neighbors with a doorbell security camera checked their footage. I guess it wasn't even the house that she was delivering it to, but neighbors and saw her doing this. After the dog was stolen, They were like, all right, she tried to sell them for $70. Amazon says, this is not reflect the high standards we have for delivery service partners. We're glad the customer has been reunited with their pet.
Starting point is 01:00:37 We've been in touch with them to make it right. She was arrested and booked in the Parker County Jail on $2,000 bond. She was released. She has been charged with theft. Crappy person does that. That's a bad person. You steal somebody's dog? That's a bad person.
Starting point is 01:00:51 You steal somebody's car, maybe you need money. You steal somebody's dog, you're a bad person. You'll steal their car. Yeah, I mean, I wonder... You can replace a car. Insurance will replace a car. Yeah, you can't replace a dog. It's like, yeah, no, not cool.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Unless you're one of these nuts that are cloning their dog. Yeah. And even then you need the dog to clone it. But I do wonder how you get in with Amazon and they want to make something right, you know? That'd be awesome if Amazon was like... Bezos calls. Yeah. Hey, Amazon, Amazon for a year, free.
Starting point is 01:01:22 Are you the guys with the wiener dog? I should have Bezos here. When I hit a million followers on Instagram, I kept waiting for, like, something from Mark Zuckerberg. I was going to read. Like, as soon as I hit a million, like an eagle would fly in. Nothing happened. Or like Zuckerberg hit me on the FaceTime, big celebration.
Starting point is 01:01:36 Nothing. Nothing. Like a Facebook cake is hovered in. I had a million. There was nothing. No parade. Nothing. I know.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Maybe at two million. Is that what it is? Is that what you heard? Maybe. Word on the street. We were talking during the break a minute ago. And we were talking about, I guess, Eddie, you were talking to Morgan number two about going to the bar or the club? Yeah, she was talking about when certain.
Starting point is 01:01:57 songs come out, she goes hard on the club, like at the dance floor. Like what songs do you go hard for right now, Morgan number two? Well, it was just recently. It was Beer Never Broke My Heart from Luke Combs. It came on and I went crazy. Okay. Here's a clip of Beer Never Broke My Heart. Is this a club song?
Starting point is 01:02:12 Crazy. It was the first time I heard it. That's why I had freaked out. I was like, oh, it's finally playing in the club. And I went hard. I sung every word to the song on the dance floor. It was great. So then Eddie, kind of under his breath, asked Morgan number two,
Starting point is 01:02:26 do they play slow songs? clubs, do you can slow dance too? Yeah, like love songs. Like they ever do like, it's your love and like all right guys, time to dance, like slow dance. I honest question, like do they still do that? Because back when I was going to the clubs, sometimes they would do that. They would? At the club club or not, we're not talking to school dance. They're talking to the club. I've never been to a club where they played slow songs. Okay, well then they need to bring that back. Because there was a time. There was a time when it was. And eighth grade dances or prom occasionally they play a slow song. But wouldn't that be like if you really want to go to a and fall in love. Why don't you play? It's your love. And then everyone's like, all right,
Starting point is 01:03:01 slow dance time. Are you going to a bar to fall in love, though? Like to fall in love. Well, that's what some people say. They're like, I want to find, I'm trying to find a boyfriend. Yeah, they want to meet people. Yeah. That's what they say. And they go to bars and they're like, well, hey, Morgan number two, next time we either go to the DJ and request a slow song. Yes. Yeah. Because they know you, they know you there, right? Yeah, I think they would laugh me out of the bar. You're like, hey, man, it's, hey, Raymond to play song for me real quick, over the top. Like a hard club song. Hey, DJ!
Starting point is 01:03:27 You play Savage Garden? Savage Garden. No, okay. Okay, thanks. Thank you. The Bobby Bone Show. Ramundo, our audio producer, co-wrote a song called Vacation. If you guys remember this.
Starting point is 01:03:43 It was for a second the song of the summer. Play a little bit of that, Ramundo. And he has a part, too. Eric Dodd is the singer. Yeah. Featuring Raymundo. Exactly. And Kelly Bannon's on there, too.
Starting point is 01:03:57 Okay. So, are you going to play your part? It's coming right now. Here's Ray Mundo's part coming up. Mo from Instagram. Imagine these noodles are a catamaran and just flow. Go with the flow. They call me by the bonuses and Ray Bundoo.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Bado. Bay, bay, vacation. Jam, huh? Yeah. Ray Mundo got paid for the first time. What? He got paid for the first time for this song. Can we ask him how much?
Starting point is 01:04:28 Yeah, he'll tell us. How much do you think, Eddie? A couple hundred. Your official guess? Yeah, $200. $200. Amen? $500.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Lunch box? It played a lot, so I would say he had to at least get a grand. I would say $750. Wow, we're going high. Yeah, you guys are going pretty high. Ray Mundo. Well, he's a third writer, and this song's been played everywhere. I don't know how it works, clearly.
Starting point is 01:04:52 I don't know everywhere either on our show, basically, only. But that's a lot. Ramundo, you got your check. And you know who the check was from? BMI? Okay. Yeah. And you open it up. Did you know what it was? You think it was junk mail at first? No, I knew it exactly. It looked just like a check. All you got to do is peel off the edges and it's a check. And it was for how much? I was blown away. It was for $500. I mean, and I thought I was guessing high.
Starting point is 01:05:24 Dude, I cannot be more proud to be a musician. It is awesome being a writer. Okay. Okay. That's mailbox money, right, right? I had no idea in my mind that it was going to be that much. I was shocked. A musician. Dude, it's pretty sweet on this side, man. Dang. That means the song did well. You are recording artist Ramundo. Yep.
Starting point is 01:05:40 You are now, you're a paid songwriter. Yeah, now I got to cash that thing, man. Are you ever cashed yet? No, I just opened it up. I was so stoked. Showed my girlfriend and she's like, I can't believe they paid you that much. And I'm like, why was a writer? You got one third credit, right?
Starting point is 01:05:53 Yeah. Your second check will probably be about that, maybe more. Yeah. No, no, don't plan on having that money, though. You're third and fourth probably won't, though. But that's the thing, man. If now that I know I got another 500 coming, here we go. Consider it spent.
Starting point is 01:06:08 Are you trying to write more songs? No, I might have tapped out on that one. Tapped out. You got to come back with the sequel. Call up Eric Dodd. If it's good, we'll play it again. I know. Maybe Christmas song.
Starting point is 01:06:18 I'm not a writer. Please write a Christmas song. Okay. Please. We got lucky that this one ended up being decent, but yes, I will consider a Christmas song. Talk with him today. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:06:28 There is Ramondo, 500 bucks richer today. Hey, he's got to pay taxes on that. Remind him. Yeah. Hit it, Ramondo. Are you down for a big? Down for a vacation. Come on, everybody.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Just baby on my bay, bay, baby, favorite destination. Little you and me played a call in a couple days. Little Nisex is a Billy Ray, Ray. Hey. Hey, Raymondo, you know what's great about that? You wrote that such a long time ago, a little Naz X just happened. And he's got a lyric about Little Naz X in.
Starting point is 01:07:00 Yesterday, he just hit the All Times leader song. Boom. Look at you. I'd like to say I plan that, but I didn't. You guessed right. That works too. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So Snickers is getting behind the movement to change Halloween to the last Saturday in October,
Starting point is 01:07:16 rather than have it on the 31st, which is obviously what we know it as. And they say if it happens, they're going to give out one million Snickers bars. By the way, how is this thing not changed? Halloween's not like a special day where they discovered Hallow. Right. You know, they didn't land on Hallow Rock. Right. Right.
Starting point is 01:07:33 You know, baby hallow, you know, wasn't born on that day. It's just a dumb day. Let's move it to a Saturday so we can, and Mike, he brought this up a few days ago. Let's just move it to a Saturday. That way we can all experience it. Go out, trick-a-treat, have our little parties. I think it would be great to have it on a Saturday. It seems like an easy play, right?
Starting point is 01:07:50 And if I'm a politician, I'm using that because who's going to disagree with that? No one. It's like moving daylight savings time. Mm-hmm. Go be the next president and be like, you know what? One of my things, I'm going to move daylight savings time. Everybody would be like, I'm in. Like we're looking for practical things that make our lives easier.
Starting point is 01:08:04 Yeah, I'm in. Yeah, so change.org to vote in the Halloween petition if you want to try to get the federal government to move that. Which, by the way, who does it? It is kind of ridiculous when you say, yes, but go ahead. Right, right, right. Okay, so aftermarket chargers and generic ones, you know. Like generic phone chargers?
Starting point is 01:08:26 You can grab them at the gas station, but it'll charge your iPhone. Well, those might be cheaper, but the most. the money that you're saving, totally not worth it, because doctors have issued warnings about, you know, potential fire and burn hazards. Doctors? Yes. Well, I mean, because I don't know if it's harming, like, your body. But there was this one woman.
Starting point is 01:08:44 She went to bed while her phone was charging. And the cable wrapped, like, over her neck. And when she woke up, she had burns that took her to the emergency room from the cord. Why is she charging underneath the cable? Right. And I put it around her neck. Good night, everybody. She wrapped it.
Starting point is 01:08:58 All right. I don't think he was like wrapped. I'm only at my most comfortable to sleep when I'm charged. choking myself with a charger cable. But the knockoff products, they aren't properly insulated and they could lead to electrical shock or worse. I think we knew that, though, right? Yeah. A gas station charger.
Starting point is 01:09:13 And I have like nine of them, by the way. Yeah, I know. I use them too. Isn't as safe or as well put together as like an apple charger. I don't think I need a doctor to tell me that. No. No. Doctors are just saying.
Starting point is 01:09:25 If you're a doctor, tell the lady, stop wrapping a cord around your neck before you go to bed. No, no, no. The doctors are just giving out a warning because some people. don't know that maybe, I mean, maybe people don't know. And they're just saying they're seeing patience for these, you know, charger-related injuries. Okay. So, you're clear. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:41 I agree. Be careful. Do you guys leave things plugged in all the time? Yeah. Yep. Just leave it. Yeah. Is that bad?
Starting point is 01:09:49 I think we all live our different lives. Like, do you unplug everything all the time? No. I just wonder what you keep charged in. Like, I don't keep my chargers in, though. Oh, I do. Because I feel like a charger or something like that only has so much life in it. It can only stay plugged in before it goes bad.
Starting point is 01:10:03 There's no evidence to back this up. That's just your theory. Yeah. What else? Look at you. Well, keeping busy, which is something that Bobby's really, really good at it. No, I'm not good at keeping busy. I'm good at getting S done.
Starting point is 01:10:16 Okay. But like you stay busy. Yeah, because I'm trying to get S done. Yeah, Bobby gets it. Well, turns out that keeping busy is good for your health and having a jam-packed day, like all those dots on your calendar. I have too many dots on the calendar. really good for your body in the long run.
Starting point is 01:10:32 Busier people make healthier choices in their everyday lives. Probably because you don't have time. Like on days that I'm more busy, I don't have time to like just sit around and, you know, sit. I'll feel guilty when I'm just sitting around. First of all, sit. Maybe eat junk that I would,
Starting point is 01:10:46 because I'm bored. You know, like you, yeah, you make better decisions for your body. I just looked at my calendar when you brought that out. I have a bunch of dots on today's day. I have a vision meeting today at 10.30. What are you?
Starting point is 01:10:59 Your eyesight? No. Like a vision for 2020. The year. It's like what TV shows I want to go after or run into the book. What am I going to tour?
Starting point is 01:11:08 It's like you sit in a room for like three hours. That kind of vision for like your career. That's hard. We do it once a year and it takes all day and I never like it. But I go in with like, you know, like Morgan number one will be there because she works like I'm on that team now.
Starting point is 01:11:21 We just sit in there and talk about the vision. I don't know they just write an email. The vision for the brand. But that's what I'm going to do today. sit in a vision meeting. And then I have, I'm doing,
Starting point is 01:11:32 or developing a TV show for one of the networks, a scripted show. I have that meeting. I have a workout. Also, my friend Brandon Ray has a show tonight,
Starting point is 01:11:40 which I'm going to try to get to if I can finish these other meetings. Wow. At 7 p.m. at the back corner if you're in Nashville. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 01:11:47 Yeah. I think that's right. I may try to go out to that on a week night. There's only like two, three friends I would ever do that for on a week night. But I think I'm going to go to that tonight too.
Starting point is 01:11:54 That's my dotted up calendar day. Yeah. Well, with all those dots, you're going to make healthier, right-minded decisions. Here's this. Keeping your phone on the charger all the time is bad. That's the myth.
Starting point is 01:12:07 That's the myth. That's the myth. That's the myth. I know. But I keep my charger plugged into the wall. Okay, so this is about cell phones more than it's chargers, right? Okay. I unplug my chargers.
Starting point is 01:12:17 I don't, my cell phone's never in one place long enough to just sit and explode. But they say cell phones, if you're worried about that, they know when the battery is a full charge, so it stops charging. Which I didn't know that, did you? No. I unplug my phone charger from the wall Because I feel like those crappy phone chargers, they can only say plugged in for so long before it starts to go. Right, before it explodes.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Again, there's no factual. There's nothing to base this on except my nutty mind. All right, Amy, is that it? Yes, and maybe that's my file. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home there's something good. Carmen was sitting on her couch in Florida watching some TV and all of a sudden she hears a boom.
Starting point is 01:12:53 She's like, man, that sounds like a car just ran into my house. She goes outside and a minivan had lost control and crashed in. into the side of her house. The driver was unresponsive. But guess what? Guess who's a nurse? Carmen is a nurse. That's crazy. Starts chest compressions. Who? Who? Amazing that she could think in this situation.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Like a van just crashed into your house. And she brings the man back to life. Man was walking around. He just had a medical episode while he's driving, crashed into her house. She happened to be a nurse watching TV. Saved his life. What up, Carmen? Man, how lucky for him. Not that he lost his vehicle in the house, but that she was a nurse. Yes. So I guess I broke even. Because, you know, it's bad that
Starting point is 01:13:34 he had that happened. That's bad luck. But it was good luck that she was a nurse. So in the end, they're back to even. Crash into my house and I wouldn't have been a nurse. True. What would you have done? I don't know. Nurse, yelled. Is there a doctor? All right, there you go. That's something good. Thank you. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 01:13:58 Corny. What nationality is Santa Claus? Oh, gosh. This is like set up. What nationality? Don't answer, bones. What nationality is Santa Claus? A little North Polish.
Starting point is 01:14:13 Okay. I'm pretty good. All right. Pretty good. That was the morning corny. Where did you think that was going? I don't know. Could have gone anywhere.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Yep, we didn't know. It had a whole canvas to paint on. And I was like, don't know if I want to chase this one down. Starting point is 01:17:21 How do you flex your flavor? Let me talk to Nikki in Florida. Hey, Nikki, good morning. You're on the Bobby Bone Show. Good morning. What's it happening? Good morning, studio. Morning.
Starting point is 01:17:37 I am a first time caller. I'm so excited to talk to you. But I just wanted to say that my now fiancee and I have been listening to your show since high school. We are high school sweetheart. We did college long distance. And the show has just always been something that we've bonded over and talked over. And I'm so excited we're actually getting married next year. Oh, that's awesome.
Starting point is 01:17:56 Well, congratulations. And I appreciate you guys listening to the show. I'm glad we could keep you together. We basically kept them together. Yeah, totally. It's, we take all the, are we the best man collectively? We should all just show up. Well, yeah, I mean, you have a thing for going to weddings and liking to be set up on dates.
Starting point is 01:18:12 So I did also want to let you know that you are officially invited to the wedding by me if you'd like to come next year. Which brings me to my next question. Do I like to go to weddings or be set up on dates? Absolutely. Well, I don't know. But you do have that wedding in the fall later this year where you're supposed to take a date. I know. That's in November.
Starting point is 01:18:31 Right. You could meet your future wife and you're forever at my wedding. Just think about it. Do you have a lot of single friends? What's up with your sister? Well, I don't have a sister. But I do have a lot of single friends, Amy, yes. All right.
Starting point is 01:18:45 Well, listen, let me say this. Thank you for calling. Congratulations on your wedding. Send me that invitation. I absolutely will. I'll send it right to the studio. Thank you so much for chatting with me. Bobby.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Hold on. Let me ask you a question real quick. Where are you getting married in? because I only got like a five mile radius from my house. If you're in that five miles, I'll probably come. Well, you live in Nashville, don't you? And I'm in Tampa, Florida. Oh, that's not too far.
Starting point is 01:19:08 I feel like that. I mean, but her friends may live, her friends may live closer to here, and you are quite the catch. Would your friends? Thank you. I'm actually going to Nashville for my bachelorette party. Boom.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Well, let's hit it up. Okay, listen. She's bringing all the single friends. I've been too much time talking about this, but thank you, Nikki. Congratulations. Thank you, Bobby. All right, bye.
Starting point is 01:19:28 I had a big day yesterday Do you know about this eddie? I do Well I think I do Oh okay Well listen for like the last six months I've been trying to get a shout out I've got to ride my bike every day
Starting point is 01:19:39 I take this class I have a Peloton bike And there's a screen And they always do shoutouts to people And I'm like how can I get that shout out And I like message all the trainers And nothing Nobody shouts me out
Starting point is 01:19:50 It takes like one second to go Because my screen name is Bobby Bobby Bones Because somebody had Bobby Bones already Oh that explains a lot Yeah I can never get Bobby Bowdy, I can't get my Instagram to be Bobby Bones. I have Mr. Bobby Bones. And so,
Starting point is 01:20:04 my name's Bobby Bobby Bones, and I'm just sitting there grinding away, and here is my Peloton instructor on my screen taking a live class. Don't me that shout out. Come on, quick quick. She said Bobby Bobby Jones to be fair. But then she quickly changed it, and then she said, let's go.
Starting point is 01:20:28 I was rocking out to Jesse's a girl. I was doing the 80s pop class. Those were fun. I like the hip-hop stuff the best. I ride faster, but it was the only life class I could take. So she shouted out, Bobby Bobby Jones.
Starting point is 01:20:41 Oops, Bobby Bobby Bones. Dude, you've been waiting for that forever. Forever. So let's take a second and celebrate me. Yes. Thank you. Thank you very much. Do you have your picture in the little icon thing? You do? I don't know if it just said B.
Starting point is 01:20:55 Yeah, so you have your picture. Is she single? I don't know. I wonder if she kind of saw your picture and kind of thought, Bobby, Bobby Bones. She probably saw me send her a message going, Will you please give me a shout out? Like I do to every trainer before I get on there.
Starting point is 01:21:09 There's that too. Yeah, super cute, though. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, you could date her. What's up? Yeah, man, super cute. Yeah, very, and fit. Motivated?
Starting point is 01:21:18 All right, all right. I mean, how in shape would you be? But we know nothing about her, though, Amy. But I mean, did you guys look her up? No, we just saw her in the video. Not yet. I don't know anything about her either. But I'll send her a message like, hey, saw your shout out to Bobby Bobby Bow.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Better scoop them up. There's a bachelor party coming to town that may take them. Yeah. So I got that yesterday. which is pretty cool. I got some feedback that some of the listeners don't like me playing games. Because I'm... I get a little too competitive.
Starting point is 01:21:44 True. No doubt about it. I haven't mentioned it that I'm a little out of control when I play. But I got a note that was like, hey, man, you shouldn't play games. You're a little too... Too good? Too angry and competitive. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:21:56 I didn't get mad. Yeah. I really get into it. And I get a little cocky. See, here's how I feel about that, though, is you really... I see the joy. in your face when you play. You're like, I get to play a game, and I don't want to take that away
Starting point is 01:22:09 from you. Well, I've been hosting the games on this show because I've been the one running the board for 10 years. But some listeners reached out and said they didn't like me playing the game because, one, I was too good, and two, I get too competitive. So, I'm probably still going to play, but I just wanted to share that I read the feedback.
Starting point is 01:22:26 Okay. What do you think about that? I mean, I just feel like you're too good. Oh, you, okay. At the games. I'm being punished? Yes. years of training. Like you don't miss, you don't miss anything.
Starting point is 01:22:39 So then it doesn't give us a chance. Right now is the time for you guys to really zoom in and take me though. Right. I'm having brain issues. Wait, what? You see my answer story? Yeah, I saw that. What, yeah, you have either diabetes, MS or...
Starting point is 01:22:52 Anemia. Or all three. Probably the sandwich. Mm-hmm. Why? Well, my brain's not connecting right. And it's been happening for the last few months. Usually, when I'm thinking and working, I talk so fast because, I talk so fast because,
Starting point is 01:23:05 because I'm like four sentences ahead in my brain while my mouth is trying to catch up. I'm way out ahead. Recently, I'm like chasing my words and I'm not able to find the end of sentences. And so there's something not connecting in my brain. And so I post this Insta story yesterday and I'm like, I don't know what's happening.
Starting point is 01:23:21 And I'm Googling to see what's wrong with me. Brain fog. Yeah, it's pretty substantial. And I found myself in a meeting yesterday just saying sentences and trying to scoop up the end of them. Oh, wow. I'm like, well, here's how I feel.
Starting point is 01:23:35 And then I'm just looking for words the whole time. I can't. So anyway, that's what I'm doing. I got brain fog seriously. Right? So my point is, right now it's time to get me in these games. Yeah, all right, let's play again. Then yeah, you can play, I guess.
Starting point is 01:23:45 I got, I'm off all medication. When it started happening, I said, okay, let me just get off everything. Because I was taking something in order to sleep. But then I was also, like, twice a week taking a Xanax, like when I would fly or before I would go to bed, stop taking everything. Have I take anything in a month. But still, like, I'm not connecting.
Starting point is 01:24:04 It's like, I'm shooting off, but it's not finding the target sometimes in these sentences. You ever do that? Oh, no, I'm not four sentences ahead. No. No, I'm talking about in general. Like, I can't even find the ends of my sentences sometimes. Yeah, that's regular.
Starting point is 01:24:15 Yeah, I feel like Amy and I are right now. Right. I'm like, what is he talking about? I'm like, this is so, I was like, maybe now you're just normal. No, I've lost my superpower. Yes, you have. Oh, no. No, I'll be all the way through a sentence and I'll be like, I'm no idea what I'm talking about it. I'm just going to wrap this up.
Starting point is 01:24:31 That's fine. Like, that's not brain fog. That's just life. Well, I like that. Welcome to being a regular. Do I take time off? What do you mean? To recover from your brain fog?
Starting point is 01:24:44 I mean, yeah. Yeah, totally. I'm saying this is literally a thing. I'm not performing as well as I usually do because of this. Yeah. I don't know if any other listeners suffer from this. But it's like being able to run fast and all of a sudden you don't have an injury, but you can barely jog.
Starting point is 01:25:00 You wake up and you're like, wow, why am I not going faster? That's my, that's what I did. yesterday. Yeah. Freak myself out. No, it's got to be scary. If that's what you're used to, you've got to be wondering what's going on in your brain. You just feel slow.
Starting point is 01:25:12 But just know that you're not slow. That's normal. That's not me. I don't need to be normal. And I've been reading every night, meaning... That should help your brain. Well, I know. And I read anyway, but I don't set a time and make sure I get it in.
Starting point is 01:25:25 So much like I have a spot for exercise, I go, you know what? I'm going to make sure every single night. I read 30 minutes before I go to bed. Sometimes I read more than that. Sometimes I don't read for a few days. but every night for the past week I've sat down and it hit my Alexa timer and I read 30 minutes before I go to bed
Starting point is 01:25:42 thinking that these new words will come to me and I can finish sentences and use big words nothing, nothing! I want to do! I just finished a book last night and it's frustrating. Hillary are, and she's done everything on the show from being intern to...
Starting point is 01:25:59 Was Hillary an intern on the show? No, she was a phone girl. She came into the phone girl? Okay, so now she is... kind of filling in as part of the executive producer job, and she's trying to book Sean Mendez for the show. Oh. That would be cool.
Starting point is 01:26:13 Yeah, which I was like, I don't know if you can get Sean Mendez, because a lot of people think country music, I'm not going to go on a country show, and they'll give an excuse to why they can't come. Right. What did Sean Mendez say, Hillary? They said that he didn't have time to come in. Oh.
Starting point is 01:26:28 That's bull. It takes 10 minutes to get over here. Like, my niece got to meet Sean Mendez back in the day when he was opening for Taylor Swift and staying at the double tree. So maybe Sean needs to remember those days. Yeah, Sean didn't remember where he came from. And he was so kind and she saw him in the lobby. He took a selfie with her.
Starting point is 01:26:46 Like, he had time then. Don't give up, Hillary. I'm trying. He's just deep in his heart. He is still that normal guy. So, yeah, he's trying. And I would say we blow him up on Twitter, but he has such an international following. Oh, they would be a blip on the radar.
Starting point is 01:26:59 Oh, no. Oh, his people would come. Well, no, he just wouldn't see it. Okay. He gets so many messages all the time. So he's in town. but he's doing a show. When's he doing a show? Friday.
Starting point is 01:27:07 Of this week? Yeah, he'll be here Friday, two days. He is good, though. He's only 21. Yeah. Which is crazy. Yeah. Turn that up. This is jam too. Everything is too late to tell you that everything is worth
Starting point is 01:27:24 if I can have you. All right. Don't give up, Hillary. I'll keep trying. Nothing worth having is gained easily. Okay? They're going to tell you no. They did. Well, they did.
Starting point is 01:27:39 He's about to turn 21. Don't take no for an answer. He has time. Trust me. Okay, I'll keep trying. There's always time. I'll keep trying. Like the saying goes,
Starting point is 01:27:47 there's always time for Jello. Yeah. Is that the saying? No, it's room. It's always room for Jello. Okay. Because according to the ancient proverb, regardless of how full you would become,
Starting point is 01:27:58 Jello doesn't take up any more space. Yeah. All right. Thank you. How's it going over there? You're doing a good job. Kind of... Thank you.
Starting point is 01:28:05 It's a little hectic, I feel like. Why? What's happening? Well, I'm trying to do my job and then Morgan won's job. So there's just a lot happening over here. We're still looking for an executive producer. Any closer? Yeah. Oh. Well, I think we have four or five people that I'm going to talk to. I think it started with like 50 or 60 people that applied for the job.
Starting point is 01:28:23 By the way, the hottest job in radio. Because it's a radio job, but it's also like a multimedia job. There are a lot of facets to this. They aren't just a radio show. And so we've got a lot of people applying. People that shouldn't have applied that I secretly know that people are trying to get out of their current shows. And I'm like, oh, oh, Jerry, Jerry. And I will never share.
Starting point is 01:28:42 I'm the best secret keeper. And so I will never share. And then we've cut it down to about four or five, and they're going to come to town. I'm going to hang with them. What kind of hang? Naked. I mean, I do wonder what that process is,
Starting point is 01:28:54 because, I mean, it's a, I mean, it's, they're coming into an intimate situation. Like, we're all super close and then they're. Yeah, it's tough. But, yeah, there have been a couple people on the show that have had to jump into that. Right. But yeah, I mean, you and I've been together for 30 years.
Starting point is 01:29:10 Yeah, about 30. How many? How many? Like 13. 13 years. Close. Bobby and Florida is on. Hey Bobby, what's up, bud?
Starting point is 01:29:21 Hey, bud. How's going? Pretty good. What do you want to say? Hey, I just thought it would be a great idea if each day when you did the draft that you would include a listener. And for today's draft, I want to be the first one. I have three picks great ones that nobody happened to pick. Well, we've already done the draft, so you can't hop in at this point.
Starting point is 01:29:38 If we ever allow anyone in, they'll have to be in the studio, because it's very much a look at every one deal. And two, we haven't done it enough to have to switch it up yet. We've only done like six or seven of them ever. Oh, wow. I know. But I am curious. Great idea. Go ahead. I'll listen to his picks, too. We're curious about your picks, too. We're curious about your picks. Who do you have, Bobby? All right. So I had a Clint Black, John Wayne and Boss Hog. A boss hog? Oh, Boss Hogg's fine. Yeah. Duke's a hazard. We mentioned Clint Black. I thought about Clint Black and John Wayne. And we did say John. You said John Wayne. Yeah. Didn't pick him. Right. But I mentioned him. I feel like he's a little too dated.
Starting point is 01:30:12 for anyone under. Yeah, but he's the cowboy hat wear. How old are you, Bobby? I am 53. Okay, that's probably about to cut off. Yeah. To have watched John Wayne. I used to have to watch John Wayne to the kid,
Starting point is 01:30:25 and I was always like, I mean, it's black and white. Or it's like barely in color. It's that faded color. Brown? Wyatt Earp, I consider Wyatt Earp. Oh, yeah. Like if you're going to go like Tombstone. Billy the Kid.
Starting point is 01:30:37 Oh, yeah, or Hank Sr. Yeah. And I thought about Hank Senior, but I thought Hank Jr. probably resonated a little more. Hey Bobby, thanks for that call, bud. Appreciate that. Hey, you're welcome. Have a great day. All right. See you later. There's Bobby in Florida. A woman in New York was on the way to the hospital and gave birth in a Costco parking lot.
Starting point is 01:30:53 Is Costco going to hook her up with like free Costco for life? Well, that would always be what you hope for, right? Yeah. There was a woman in New York, she's boopoo-do pooh-do pooh-a-doop on the way to the hospital. First responders came to the rescue and they helped deliver a baby girl in the parking lot. The baby was not due for two more weeks. And they were trying to get there. So they were like, uh-oh, they pulled over and called 911.
Starting point is 01:31:14 There is no word yet. I don't know if Costco's going to hook her up with a membership card. But she needs to name her baby, Costco. Is that what you would name the baby if you had in the parking lot? No, but that's how you get free things? But how often, what are you going to do? Unless you get free things for life. The couple also has an 18-month-old daughter at home who is excited to meet her baby sister.
Starting point is 01:31:33 The family is recovering at South Nassau Community Hospital. I had a friend who had the baby in the parking lot of the hospital. Like they couldn't get to the hospital? So close. Yeah, I said it was like a human liquid bomb going off inside the car. Yeah, I guess once it's ready, you just cannot hold it in. You know? I think he said that they had to get rid of the car.
Starting point is 01:31:56 Like they cleaned the car and then got rid of it. But then when you sell, is that on like Carfax? I don't know if the fox is there checking it out. It could be. Some people might be into that. They might be like so weird. No one's into that, Amy. No one's into that.
Starting point is 01:32:09 They might. It's time. Time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. This family, the Ramirez family, they were moving, so they put all their stuff in a storage unit to move.
Starting point is 01:32:21 Unfortunately, they lost everything when it was robbed, including all of their five-year-old son's toys. But the kid who's from California is pretty happy with the toy situation thanks to a kind-hearted deputy. Nancy Ramirez, says her son Julian, kept asking about his toys. Because the family kept going,
Starting point is 01:32:39 hey have you found any of our stuff? And the kid's like, where to toys? So Deputy Troy Smith responded to the call. He said, hey, what kind of toys were there? And the mom said, well, Avengers, there's a Spider-Man that's his favorite. And then the deputy went and tracked him all down bottom for him. And was like, I know you guys are still looking for your other stuff, but I can at least help with the toys and hook the kid up.
Starting point is 01:32:57 And I think that's awesome. The family's like, it means a lot. He didn't have to do that at all. I love that story. And that's why I shared it because that's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. So we did a draft a few weeks ago where we did overrated things and Eddie picked Chipotle.
Starting point is 01:33:26 We were all like, you're so dumb. Chololet's awesome. Well, Chappolet heard it and they're going to bring us lunch and let Eddie see if they're overrated. How cool is that? When is that? Today? Tomorrow. Tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:33:35 Oh, is it tomorrow? Yeah. I just saw in an email. The first. That's coming. Yep. So we've all said other things that are overrated. Well, you guys are welcome.
Starting point is 01:33:42 Like Mercedes is overrated. Oh, yeah. Ferraris. Revacations. where we just have to post about it once on Instagram. That would be awesome. Yeah, airplane tickets. All of them.
Starting point is 01:33:54 Anyway. To anywhere. We'll take anything. Yeah, but that's happening tomorrow. Last night, you didn't watch any of The Bachelorette. No. What did you watch? Nothing, really.
Starting point is 01:34:04 Oh, yeah? Yeah. No. I mean, right when we were falling asleep, my husband and I were trying to get through the Great Hack, but I think we got through five minutes. By the time we got in bed and five minutes, we were like, go to sleep.
Starting point is 01:34:13 On Netflix? Yeah. You have a TV in your room now, right? Yeah. So I was watching. watching the debate, night one of two. I'll watch the other, 10 more people tonight. It's just a lot of candidates. I was watching that. And then I was flipping back and forth watching The Bachelorette. And so I don't feel like I'm spoiling because it's a news event.
Starting point is 01:34:31 Yes. Okay. But you're about to hear what happened, by the way, everybody. So you know who won? I don't. So Nashville Jed won. He did? Yeah. Oh, wow. Okay. So he wins, but then she kind of dumps him on TV live. She's like, we're not together anymore. It's awesome. But so they do the show. what I was happy with is they got they did the show and it was fine and you know he proposes and I'll play some clips and stuff um but they got right to the live show quickly and so then they're just like Chris Harris is like all right we're alive and we're gonna bring out Hannah and I'm like oh man so Hannah comes out and she's like she can hardly talk and you can she's emotional yeah she's like I feel like it's an idiot because I'm having to watch this whole season back and I've seen everything that's happened since then and then she's like I'm not with Jedd and then she they bring Jed out later oh it was awesome voice and this is what he said Well, I have all the clips, but I'm just telling you. It was must-see TV last night.
Starting point is 01:35:21 Here is the first clip. Okay. Jed told his girlfriend at home he loved her before the show, right? And we had her on. And this is kind of him explaining that and her kind of question about that. Here you go. After I landed in L.A. and started this whole thing, that was like a goodbye for me. How was it a goodbye?
Starting point is 01:35:36 Because you know, I've seen the text messages. It wasn't a verbal goodbye. No, it was a, I love you. To me, I ended it in my heart, not verbally. How? You said you loved her on a phone, a call, and a text. Like, what are those words mean to you? So, I had, it was in my heart. He ended in his heart.
Starting point is 01:35:56 Hey, a little bit I felt that. No, stop it. You don't feel that. Sometimes you end things in your heart or you think things and maybe you don't vocalize them as well as you should. I'm not on his team. I'm on team baby all the time since that last segment like two days ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm always on team baby.
Starting point is 01:36:14 but um so that happens and he go by the way he proposes this is jed right give me clip three this is jed breaking into a song during his proposal he gets out of his guitar with him and i'm like oh no here you go after all that you've been through and those times you wish you knew who was on the other side of all those restless nights hey pause up for one second ramundo what what stinks for him is he's probably a little emotional, a little nervous. And now he's got to sing a national TV. It's just not going to sound great. And is it an original? Like he wrote this? Or is it covering something?
Starting point is 01:36:56 Yeah, it's like it's vowels. Yeah. Okay. Awkward. When I started playing it, Amy ducked down in her chair because she was so awkward. Here you go. Here's some more of it. We always knew
Starting point is 01:37:06 it's me and... Poor guy's emotional trying to sing. Yeah. But, so anyway, you know, yes, they're going to get married, engaged. This is before they go to live. So he proposes, she says yes. They're together forever.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Right. So that happens. They come back, and Chris Harrison is like, welcome to The Bachelor Live. You know, there's like 200 women surrounding them sitting in a circle. They're sitting down and she's like, you know, it's hard. And this is where she says she's not with Jed anymore. Where does your relationship stand now? I am not with Jed anymore.
Starting point is 01:37:59 The engagement's over. We're not together. It's just, that's not what I said yes to. So I'm going, I wonder if Jed's even there. Right. I'd be, peace out. I'm not walking out into that environment. And so.
Starting point is 01:38:11 Get to the lions. They're like, all right, let's bring out Jed. And the crowd is so confused on whether to clap or not. This is what it sounded like. You guys don't clap. Mike, do you clap with me? All right, ready? They're like, let's bring out Jed.
Starting point is 01:38:25 It was like a couple spatterings. Yeah. And everyone's like, oh. And I thought they might boo. I tweeted they're going to claw his eyes out. So he comes out, by the way, he's a great-looking guy. He's in a suit, his beard's trimmed.
Starting point is 01:38:39 He's a villain, but he's also so good-looking. Yeah. And this is Jed admitting he did The Bachelor for his music career. Here's that clip. I think it's kind of like not logical to hang out with somebody who's considering doing a dating show. It didn't seem like it was a dating show to you. It was just for your career.
Starting point is 01:38:57 In my mind, yeah. I was going there for a music thing. And you probably kept it reassuring her. It was a music thing. You don't have to worry. I know this is what happened. That's what happened. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:09 I told her it was like, this is going to be like a really good thing for music. Like this is like it. Like I just highly, highly doubt that this could actually ever be a relationship thing. I go in there and actually like someone. And I don't disagree with all he's saying right here. There's a point with him I do disagree later on.
Starting point is 01:39:26 But yeah, who wants to be with someone who's going to go on a dating show to find someone? Like really. Just think about that as practically as possible. You're not going to get with somebody generally. Because most people are going on that show to have a little notoriety and a little fun. You don't make that much money, but make a little money. So he makes a great point.
Starting point is 01:39:44 Who really goes on that show going, I'm for sure looking for love? No, no one. Where he messed up, though, was continuing to stretch it out in real life too. Yeah. Like telling the girl and not telling her that he had a girl. So. And then just like ghosting on the girl. And then at the end, Hannah asks out the dude to finish second
Starting point is 01:40:04 Because he comes back out And she's like, hey, do you want to get a drink? What was his name again? I don't know, Troy or Jim or Nick or something. Who cares? They're all like the same. They're all like chiseled. Where's Pilot Pete? I liked him. They cut him.
Starting point is 01:40:13 Oh. He may be the next Bachelor, though. Oh, that, yeah. So it was good. I don't even care about that show really like to watch it, but I thought it was pretty good. So, you didn't miss anything. I now filled you in, you're good.
Starting point is 01:40:26 You don't have to worry about it. I feel fulfilled. It's like, remember when one, The bubble boy floated over the air. We all watched that on the news. Mm-hmm. In that balloon, the balloon boy. Oh.
Starting point is 01:40:36 Do you remember that when he was like up in that little UFO? But on purpose? He really wasn't in it, but everyone was like, the kids up in that balloon floating over space. Okay. And if you watched it, that was really cool. But if you didn't, there's no need to go back and watch it. Same thing with this. You're caught up completely.
Starting point is 01:40:52 That was the Bachelorette last night. So did the guy number two, this guy that finished second when she asked him out? Did he say yes? Yeah, they were sitting there. And he would just come on. He's a nice guy. good looking guy. Looks like an Abercrombie model. They all are good looking.
Starting point is 01:41:05 Yeah, it's annoying. They need to do like an average bachelor. I guess that's life. Down the street. That's just normal. Let's just walk outside. Yeah, and it wasn't like, she was like, hey, we should get a drink and they're like, oh, we'll just start with that. And Chris Harrison's like, oh, ship that. So, there you go. There's the complete Bachelor at Recap.
Starting point is 01:41:24 It was good, though. It was good. I mean, I'm glad I didn't spend all the time watching the whole season. Right. But Nashville Jed Yeah Nashville Jed I wonder how that helped I wonder if his music career
Starting point is 01:41:37 Actually it'll help him All this is like he's a villain He's ruined Are you kidding me? What did he do really Would he still be able to come on this show? Mike Tyson has a career right now And he's beloved
Starting point is 01:41:46 That dude went to jail for something bad And he's bit someone's ear off Right no he went to jail for something worse than that I know Nashville Jed will be all right He's a good looking dude Probably made a mistake He'd probably learn from it
Starting point is 01:41:57 But didn't you invite him on the show and he said no. I don't think he could yet. But now maybe he could. Would we have him on? He's way good looking. I'm a little, I'd be a little nervous. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 01:42:07 With my wrinkly forehead, Amy, that you told me I had, I can't even be next to this guy. I feel so. I didn't tell you that. I told you that somebody told me. You look great. Thank you. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 01:44:40 I got pizza. I got chili crisp hot honey by Lee Cum Kee. Oh, I was thinking simple. I was thinking unforgettable. Wow. What did you do to this pizza? Just added a little sweet and a little heat. I think I'm in love.
Starting point is 01:44:58 Marry me. Careful. This stuff makes you say things. Chili crisp hot honey by Lee Cum Kee. Grab it online or in stores. How do you flex your flavor? I was on Reddit last night and I watched this clip of this one we get pulled over in Oklahoma. Did you see the video?
Starting point is 01:45:17 I have not. I posted it on my Twitter and the email watched this video? I saw it. Holy crap. I saw it because you posted it. Dude. And the way you tweeted it was like this escalated quickly and you're right. That escalated quickly.
Starting point is 01:45:30 So the cop pulls are over and he's like, hey, something on her car was broken. And he's like, there's a ticket for 80 bucks, right? Here you go. Play that clip, please. Get you to sign there where the ex is. So you don't even give a warning. You don't want to sign it? No, because I don't think that I deserve to pay $80 for something that is fixable and I can fix it.
Starting point is 01:45:55 That's all you want to do. Wait, step out. Because you're under arrest. Step out. So she's doing a tantrum. She's probably 60, gray hair. She's like, I'm not signing the ticket. This is fixable.
Starting point is 01:46:06 And it's like, but it's been broken for six months. Like, I'm not, you're not going to get a warning for something you know you've been doing wrong. So she's like, no. It's like, get out of the car. You're under arrest, right? So that's the part that you heard. So then she rolls her window up and locks her door. And the cops like, no, it's not funny, Amy.
Starting point is 01:46:23 He's like, what are you doing? Even he's beside himself. He's like, why are you doing this for an $80 ticket? And so she starts yelling at the officer. and then after she rolls it up because she keeps rolling a window down yelling at him. She'd like creep it down and go and then roll it back up.
Starting point is 01:46:40 And then she just drives off. No. You be fair with me and I'll be fair with you. Step out. No. You're under arrest. No, I'm not. Do not take off.
Starting point is 01:46:49 Shut up and give me that and I'll sign it. Step out. No. We're beyond that. Step out. And the officer is like, are you kidding me? Yeah. This older lady's going to make me do this.
Starting point is 01:47:03 Right. She just had a ticket. just sign the ticket. My favorites, when he's like, you're under arrest, she goes, no, I'm not. When a cop says that. What if we could just do that? Right.
Starting point is 01:47:14 No. Guilty. Nope. I'm innocent. All right, well, you have a point. So she drives off. The officer's got his body camera on, and this is why you're seeing all this.
Starting point is 01:47:23 And I feel so bad for him. Because all he did was to say, please sign this $80 ticket. So she drives off in this big truck. He's in his car chasing her. Oh, gosh. She pulls into, like, it looks like a closed down bass pro shop or something
Starting point is 01:47:37 and he stops her again after she took off and she won't get out of the car so he has to like undo the door like unlocked the door and pull her out of the car and then she starts to kick him here you go let's to tase her put your hands behind your back gonna get it again it's wild oh my goodness she is totally in the wrong right every bit of what she did was dumb and wrong and then at one point he was like Why are you kicking me?
Starting point is 01:48:21 She goes, I'm a country girl. She did say that. Wait, what does that have to do with anything? Yeah. We'll put it up. It's on my Twitter right now, Mr. Bobby Bones. But I just couldn't believe it how dumb she was. Here's an officer who's pulling someone over.
Starting point is 01:48:35 Who knows? He may get shot. You never know when a traffic stop what's going to happen. Yeah, and it doesn't matter what age they are. But when you're older, you should be smarter. Yeah. Well, no, I'm saying for the cop. It's like, you can tell he doesn't want to do all this stuff to her.
Starting point is 01:48:47 No. He's like, just come on. I bet he's frustrated like, come on, don't make me do this. Amy, he's even patting her back when she's like on the handcuffed. Like, you're okay, okay? Yeah, I think he probably realizes like something's just a little bit. Like, she's hormonal or crazy or she's older than that. Yeah, no, no, she's just onry.
Starting point is 01:49:08 She said she's a country girl. Oh. I felt so bad for this cop watching this video. He did not want to do any of it. And at one point I'm like, oh my God, he's going to taser. He has to. My wife and I were watching. That's what I said.
Starting point is 01:49:19 He has to do all this. Everything he's doing, he has to do it. He doesn't want to. He's got the body camera on. He's got to roll by the... Because they'd be like, oh, look at him, giving her a free pass. Yeah, true. It's wild.
Starting point is 01:49:31 I want to go to... Is it Idae? Hi, Idae. Is that how you say your name? Idae? That's exactly how you say it. In Chicago? Milwaukee.
Starting point is 01:49:42 Okay, so you're going to drive down to Chicago? I am. Now, I'm reading up here. You had a cheating boyfriend? What happened there? Well, he was Peter after three years. I found out he was cheating on me, and we finally broke up two days ago. How did you find out he was cheating?
Starting point is 01:49:59 Well, the girl was calling him on his cell phone, and I happened to pick up, and she told me the whole story. Wow, she told you. So was she upset that he was still with you if he promised that he was going to break up with you and be with her? No, according to her, he told her we had been done for, like, months. He was lying to both of you. And we have a child, too. Oh! Oh, oh, oh.
Starting point is 01:50:20 Oh, no. So what is he saying now in this whole situation? Well, he's like, oh, I'm so sorry, you know, this and that. But I'm like, well, you're not changing. You probably still talk to her because he's not denying it. So I'm like, well, I'm not going to stay around. Is this name Jed? Is he from Nashville? No.
Starting point is 01:50:41 Well, that's something, you know, that guy didn't tell the truth a whole lot. Okay, so you're going to come to Eddie and I's show on Chicago on Friday night? Yes. Are you coming by yourself? You're trying to find a date. No, I actually am coming with a friend who I probably felt out. It was like, I'll go with you. Oh, was he supposed to be going with you?
Starting point is 01:50:59 He was, yes. Who's going to watch the baby? My mom. Okay. Well, we can't wait to see Eddie and I are in Chicago on Friday night at the Copernicus Center doing our comedy and music show. And so... Can't wait to see her. I know.
Starting point is 01:51:12 It'll be therapeutic because they'll make you laugh. They're funny. That's exactly what I'm thinking, yeah. You can think about getting back with this guy or no? No. Never. No. What did the girl say to you when you pick up the phone?
Starting point is 01:51:25 How does that conversation go down? She was like, who is this? And I was like, well, who are you? And then she was like, oh, I was looking for so-and-so, and I was like, well, this is so-and-so's girlfriend. He's got a weird name, though. So-and-so? Yeah. I don't know anyone by that name.
Starting point is 01:51:41 Yeah. And then I, you know, I said, well, then he just told me the whole story. and I was like, okay. And how long have you been with her? Do you know? She said a couple months. He's saying not a couple months, so who knows? Does he listen to the show?
Starting point is 01:51:59 He does not. He does not. So and so does not. Okay, I didn't know if he'd be like, he's like driving along his car right now and he's like, okay. All his friends are like, hey, so-and-so, you're on the air right now.
Starting point is 01:52:09 Oh my God, they're talking about you. Are you sure it's me? Yes, they said so-and-so. You're so-and-so Wilson, right? That's literally his, name. Well, I Day, I hope we can meet you on Friday night. That'd be awesome.
Starting point is 01:52:22 Well, I know. I was so sad because you guys ran out of the meeting greet tickets by the time I bought my tickets. Oh, listen, we're easy to find. Just hang out. Just hang out. We'll find you after the show. Like, we try to go to the lobby. Unless, I've only ever not gone and met everybody after a show like twice when I was sick in the history of touring.
Starting point is 01:52:40 So unless, like, I, like, tear my butt again. Like, I'm sick. Like I understand We don't get to do what we do without the people So I can't wait to meet you And it sounds like you're newly single So let's say what's up Okay
Starting point is 01:52:56 All right All right I'd see you Friday night in Chicago okay Bye All right there she is By the way if you're in Chicago And you want to come to the show Raging Idiots.com Eddie now are working on a new song last night
Starting point is 01:53:07 Technology allows us to work and practice On the phone Eddie just records it from his phone sends it over to me and we go back and forth. Oh, yeah. So that's what we did last night. Everything good? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:21 I have so much. I'm getting a text. It is the law to, that you have to sign a ticket. Couldn't even just hand it or the ticket, blah, blah, blah. It's not the law? I don't know. Just watch the video. Everything we played here probably didn't even box it up as well as it was.
Starting point is 01:53:37 And he's like, here, sign the ticket. And she's like, no. And then he's like, okay, well, I don't know what you do in that. situation. Do you have to take them in? Yeah, if they're not cooperating, you have to. And they can get a lawyer and then fight it. In all my years of watching live PD and cops. Right, because I'm like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:53:53 That's what they do. That live PD gets you though. I watch live PD and I'm like, this is boring and I'll be watching right. And they're going all over the country like Indiana. They're like Williams County of Texas. South Texas. And I'm going, nothing's happened. This is boring and I'm about to flip it.
Starting point is 01:54:07 And all of a sudden like a car will drive by on the screen. I'm like, I better watch this. So anytime something could happen. That show like almost nothing. happens, but you just wait just in case. Yeah. And it gives you that feeling of like that's what a cop goes through of just like this could be a routine, traffic
Starting point is 01:54:22 stop, or it cannot be. Did y'all see our friend post about how he was on LivePD because he was getting gas at a gas station? Like science. Yeah. He was like standing behind the gas pump and Live PD was with him live. What an idiot. I mean, how amazing would that be if you end up on Live PD just because, you know.
Starting point is 01:54:38 And then he realized he was on Live PD, so he starts trying to get in the shot. He got on it. But then they told him to get that. They cut him. They were like, stop, stop. Oh, okay. Yeah. It'd be funny they'd arrested him.
Starting point is 01:54:48 He was on the other side of the gas pump. They're like, sir, stop. He's like, no. Pant, Tase. I told you. The Bobby Bons show. We did a draft earlier this morning on cowboy hat wearers. And just the first round of the draft went like this.
Starting point is 01:55:05 Amy? George. Oh, I told George straight. Yeah. Yeah. And then I went with. No, just the first round. Amy?
Starting point is 01:55:12 Oh, my goodness. George straight, lunchbox. Tim McGraw. Eddie? Woody from Toy Story. Morgan number two. Darth Brooks. Yes.
Starting point is 01:55:18 And then we all went around the room. By the way, I picked Alan Jackson. So all our draft are up at Bobby Bones.com. You can go and vote on who you think had the best overall draft. You're looking at the best overall team. Yeah. Not the best one pick because if that were the case, then Amy would just win. Because you get the first pick overall.
Starting point is 01:55:34 So look at the team, vote, and then tomorrow we'll have a winner in the draft. So that'd be cool. I picked Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams, Jr., Amy with George Strait, John Party, Chris Stapleton. Yep. Lunchbox with Tim McGraw, Kicks Brooks and Dustin Lynch Eddie with Woody from Toy Story
Starting point is 01:55:47 Solid Pig Thank you Clint Eastwood and Dwight Yocom Yeah yeah And Morgan number two Had some people All right so Bitter
Starting point is 01:55:56 What's up So bitter What's up Can't hear you I'm not wearing headphones In the studio anymore By the way Morgan number two
Starting point is 01:56:05 Is sitting over there With the food world Which I thought was pretty interesting And now Food World With Morgan number two It's time for food world Num num num num num num num num num
Starting point is 01:56:13 Numb with Morgan number two. So Arby's is whipping up a pretty special menu that probably has some beef sandwiches and they're going to serve it for anyone who actually decides to show up to the whole storm area 51 event. Oh, wow. Pretty funny, huh? Arbys is going to go and feed the people storming area 51. A lot of food.
Starting point is 01:56:34 No one's going to show. People are going to maybe show up to that town. Ain't nobody going to storm that base. Can you imagine the bullets that are going to be flying if they actually jump the fence. Regardless if they're aliens there or not, and obviously there are. Obviously.
Starting point is 01:56:51 Yeah. People could get capped. Their last meal is going to be Arby's. No, they've worn them in every way. Correct. Don't break down the... They won't. That's why I don't think they will.
Starting point is 01:57:01 Okay. You may get one or two rogues who think it's funny to get a little Instagram content. But... For the gram. By the way, on Sunday, CMA Fest.
Starting point is 01:57:12 I hope you'll watch it. I beg you. I plead with you to watch it. Make your plans. Sunday night. It's going to be awesome. Eight 7 Central on ABC. It is a three-hour special,
Starting point is 01:57:21 hosted by Thomas Rett, Kelsey Ballerini, and myself. And special collaborations. Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Keith Urban will perform. Marin Morris and Brandy Carlisle, Brantley Gilbert, and Lindsay L.
Starting point is 01:57:32 Additional performers, Dan and Shea, Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion, CMAFest.com. So, and it's going to be awesome. Hope people watch.
Starting point is 01:57:42 I'll watch. beg them to watch. Yeah. Can I pay you to watch? Sure. Not you. Not you. I watch.
Starting point is 01:57:50 Well, I'm already watching, so yeah. Tell your friends. Okay, we have that. Hey, let me go over and talk to Amber and Pennsylvania real quick. Amber and Pennsylvania, you are on the Bobby Bone Show. What do you want to say? After hearing the money that Ray earned from the song that he put out, I'm wondering if he's going to put that money towards the ring for Bay.
Starting point is 01:58:11 Yeah, so Ray Mundo is a songwriter and performer on vacation. You want to hit that jam, Ramundo? Because I'm down for a Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, vacation. You said you made $500. They sent you the first check. Are you going to put that on a wedding ring? That's a great question. Honestly, I kind of want to talk to Eddie and maybe put a little bit on online gambling, put a little bit of it.
Starting point is 01:58:37 But, yeah, the rest we can save. I'll probably save 100. Why would you talk to Eddie about gambling? Because every day he does. Well. But Eddie never wins We're starting to do Greyhound races sometimes
Starting point is 01:58:49 You wait what? After the show You guys are betting the dogs Not a lot of money Not a lot of money Like a dollar a race And then you can win up to like 40 bucks If you pick the first two dogs
Starting point is 01:58:58 It's never you can win up to That don't listen to that argument I was like I don't believe you guys are betting the dogs Bones it's a dollar It's a dollar bet to get the exacta First and second place That's 40 bucks
Starting point is 01:59:08 Raymondo stop betting Stop betting Well no We and Eddie we did it one time And it was definitely very addictive So possibly we do it again That'd be a lot of fun You know what gambling is?
Starting point is 01:59:16 Addictive. Oh. Have you like legit ever gotten paid from this site? Yes. Eddie? I did. I won one big bet like a year and a half ago. And then you've been losing everything.
Starting point is 01:59:27 Are you trying to get out of dinner with your wife right now? Guys, this is a year and a half ago. My wife gives me $30 a month to gamble. Oh, that's a problem. She has to, you, budgeting? Once I'm done with the 30 bucks, though, I'm done for the month. And how long into the month you usually last? About a week.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Yeah. And then I'm out. Wow. So the answer is no, Raimundo. I'm saving 100. That's a good portion of it. You're putting $400 on gambling? It's football season.
Starting point is 01:59:52 You're saving 100 for the ring, but $400 for gambling? Dude, right around the corner is NFL and college, baby. Wow. I know, Amber. Oh, my gosh, is right. These guys talk about how they're broke. Like, Raymondo will be like, I'm just trying to get by. And then he's spending $400 out of $500 on gambling.
Starting point is 02:00:10 Honestly, it was unexpected money, so.
