Get started at redfin.com. Own the dream. All right. The Bobby Bones post show pre-show. We just finished Friday's show and Mike D. just handed me this story. I couldn't get on on the air within time, but there's a story
Starting point is 00:02:53 about an Apple employee in California who was working on her phone? Because you go in if you have a problem with your phone, you give it to the geniuses at Apple? And she has an intimate photo, we'll call it on her own phone. And he sends it to himself. Oh, buddy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:13 So, wait, how do you get busted? Her name is Gloria Fuentes. She wrote on Facebook that while she visited an Apple store in Bakersfield, the prior night that she was, She wrote this. She had to get a screen replaced. The male employee who helped her
Starting point is 00:03:26 had sent himself one of the private photos. Oh. So did he, like, text himself from her phone and then she saw it? The guy went through my gallery and sent himself one of my all-caps extremely personal photos that I took for my boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Being that I have over 5,000 pictures on my phone, he had to scroll to find it. When she returned to the store, the employee who helped her admitted it was his number, so he texted it to himself? I'm guessing that's what happened, yeah. Delete that scent if you did that.
Starting point is 00:03:57 No, you shouldn't do that, but I'm saying, if you are. If he's a genius, Fuentes added that she had been scrubbing her phone of sensitive personal data in the days prior, but it was moved to an earlier time, so she couldn't clear all of her photos. She wrote that the employee copped to the number being his. He didn't know that the pit got sent. Apple fired him. It had to be a text. Text sent himself.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Wow. Do you remember when we had to develop our pictures? Yeah. We would never take a picture like that. Yeah. Like, we would never take a risque picture. Because you had to. They would see it.
Starting point is 00:04:33 What? Yeah, but they would. Like, sometimes I would go get my disposable cameras. I think you're saying we like us. Like us people. We would never do it because they had to develop a picture. Oh, I know. But it would be embarrassing for me because guys I went to high school with would take our
Starting point is 00:04:48 disposable cameras and take pictures of their stuff and we would never know it. And then we would go get it developed. And, like, yes. Funny prank. Yeah. Ha-ha. Good times. It was old-school pranking.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Old-school pranking. Yeah. Morgan number two, did you ever get a picture developed? Yes. In history class. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Probably in middle school.
Starting point is 00:05:13 It was only like one year. That really happened. What's funny about the disposable cameras is I was watching an episode of the office last night where Aaron, the secretary, he goes, you know, disposable cameras. She goes, they're fun to do, but I never, you just dispose of them, and she throws it right away. She doesn't understand that you have to dispose.
Starting point is 00:05:32 And develop. Yeah, develop it. Sunday is 10th annual National Unfriend Day. Oh, wow. I don't know if that was a thing. Join us in this day of self-care, they say. And unfriend anyone who does not add joy to your online or social networking experience. I have a list of people.
Starting point is 00:05:52 I'm about to call. clear all my, because I don't use Facebook, really. I keep it. The only reason I keep Facebook is so I can still log into things that I was an idiot and went, I'm lazy, sign up through Facebook. But I'm just about to eliminate everybody from that page, except for like 20 people. Yeah. I don't care about somebody that, again, I met at a parade 13 years ago that they pressured me to accept them as I was standing next to, you know, that kind of thing. That was the thing. Yeah. A 23-year-old model in Australia didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth in the bathroom. That happened to your friend, huh?
Starting point is 00:06:23 Yep. I went to college with her. Man, a model you would think you'd know what's going on with your body a little bit. But my friend didn't. Apparently, she had a deep set uterus. So it was for the baby. The baby wasn't really like out, like because her uterus was in, I guess, down in there. That's what I'm looking for in my interests.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Ladies with deep set uteruses. So she just thought maybe she'd gain a little bit of weight. She was still getting her monthly cycle. though, so that was what was really confusing. And that does happen. And she went to the bathroom one day and came out with a baby. Oh, when China had her eye burst from staring at her phone too much. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:07:02 That's not good. You know what's a good point. It's not good. It's not good. Why doesn't that ever happen here, though? How come it doesn't happen in Wisconsin? Well, because we're, they're so technology-driven. Like, I was watching a story about their e-gammers.
Starting point is 00:07:18 They dominated Europe. They had, like, China versus Europe. It was like the cults in the NFL versus a junior high team. I think we're getting an arena here for e-gamer. A e-gamer, we're getting an arena? Yeah, or maybe they're using one of the arenas here. It's going to be a venue for it. I would hop in and I'd like to have one of those teams.
Starting point is 00:07:39 My own one? Yeah. Oh, dude, that's the future. I mean, it's an owl. Yeah. You see the dog that was born with the tail on his head? No. The tail growing out of his head?
Starting point is 00:07:48 He's a golden retriever. Oh. A unicorn dog? It was rescued from the cold. they named him narwhal because of the tail's tusk-like location I gotta Google that
Starting point is 00:07:59 Here You don't have to get up your back, I know your back hurts No it's actually... Oh He's got a little tail Growing right out of the middle of his eyes Do they keep it there? Yeah well yeah I mean there's no reason to not take it
Starting point is 00:08:10 To cut it off Well how big is it gonna get Other dogs aren't bullying him for his tail If he was a human They'd probably have to cut it off Right So that was the news I have some other notes here that I wanted to get to.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Lunchbox is thinking about hanging up his role as a captain for his rec soccer team. It's just too stressful, man. I mean, new season coming up and people say they're going to play and then can't get a hold of them, they won't respond, and then a girl backs out last minute, so now you get to find a replacement, and it's just, it's too hard. Like, I got a family to take care of. I got a job.
Starting point is 00:08:45 It's a lot on my plate, and I just don't think as captain, I'm getting the respect to captain deserves, and can't get people to respond in a timely manner, so I'm thinking about, you know, saying, hey, someone else be captain. Well, you used to be manager? No, no, no, captain. That's what I am. I'm captain.
Starting point is 00:08:59 But do you, like, do the laundry for the team and stuff? And, like, take the orange slices. No, there are no orange slices. I do have the jerseys. I bring every game. They put them in the bag, and then I take them home and I wash them. It's the manager. No, it's the captain.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Like, when the email, like, when the league says... Head of equipment. Yeah, we'll give you that. No, no. When the head of the league emails to keep, Captains? Who gets the email? Me? Do they go managers? Get this to your captain. No, it says, captains, thank you for signing up for the league.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Do you think that they'll take away your playing time? That's a little bit I'm like, oh, well, they keep me on the team if I'm not captain? Because the captain makes all the decisions. They're the head of the team. Could you not get someone else to wash the clothes? I mean, I guess someone else would wash them. I mean, they'd be captains, so I'd hand the jerseys over. It's just the whole getting recruiting people,
Starting point is 00:09:49 trying to get people to reply. Oh, last minute. Oh, I'm going on vacation tomorrow. I don't want to get hurt, so I'm not going to play tonight. Like, really? Like, they tell you two hours before the game. It's a lot of work, man. Stressful.
Starting point is 00:10:01 What fabric softener you're going to use? Oh, I'm thinking about fabric softener. Yeah, you got to worry about that. Do you use a little teddy bear on it? Snuggles? I don't know what that means. Is that the little dryer sheet thing? Sure, you do dryer sheets?
Starting point is 00:10:12 Yeah, my wife has those. I meant to mention this yesterday. There was so much. Amy and I were at the CMAs, right? We're walking through. And this girl... We were backstage where this person would be. I know.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Someone famous? No. She has her headset on. It's a girl working the bag. And she goes with Amy, and she thought Amy was Marin Morris. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:36 And Amy was like, yeah. That's like she got to Aldia. Yeah. They had the same hair. I was like, I wish. Amy's son thought that Marin was Amy on an iPad. Yeah, she was on stage performing. and my son was like,
Starting point is 00:10:49 Mom, is that you? I was like, yeah. Yeah, it is, son. You guys do look similar, and the hair is similar, for sure. Other, did we miss anything from CMAs we didn't get to? Because the day out thinks, what happened? Who was eating again? This was brought to me.
Starting point is 00:11:06 I almost don't want to say who was brought to me by. Go ahead, go. Let me just talk to Amy and everybody else stay out of this. There we go. It's not about you. Okay. someone on this show was, you know how
Starting point is 00:11:20 I don't even, it's not anyone to do it. Eddie, you can tell it if you want to talk. Eddie brought it to me and I was like, I don't know. I'll say what happened. It's so embarrassing. It's got to be Eddie talking about lunchbox. Hold on, let me tell us about Amy being embarrassing first.
Starting point is 00:11:35 What did I do? Eddie, they had to yell at her over the arena speaker. No, no, no, no, no. Amy and I are in the crowd. They give us great seats. too good a seat probably. And I go over and I talk to Keith Urban and Nicole Kibman and reach where this minute and meet him for a second.
Starting point is 00:11:52 And then the next break, Amy wants to go over and talk to them. They go, hey, 30 seconds till time to get on. Amy's not moving. She's standing in the front row, bent over, talking to them. Like what a... And the guy goes, right at Amy. 10 seconds. And I'm like, Amy.
Starting point is 00:12:04 She's like, oh, oh, oh, oh. And I'm like, oh, my goodness. It's a TV broadcast. It's a national TV broadcast. Amy. I know. And then Keith Irvin and said, Amy, I think you're lost. He goes, Amy, are you lost?
Starting point is 00:12:16 Like, get to your seat, basically. I was like, oh, what did you say, Keith? We're all so embarrassing. Okay, go ahead, Eddie. Okay, so we're backstage, and we're walking by where all the crew is. You know, there's just equipment going by, and there's a table they have, it's like a miniature catering table where they have snacks and food and beverages or whatever for the workers. Lunchbox and I are walking by, and Lunchbox just starts grabbing crackers, he grabs water, he grabs two drinks, and then starts putting stuff in his pocket.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I'm like, dude, this is... I took a Nature Valley bar, yep, animal crackers, an apple, and some pretzels with peanut butter in the middle. And obviously the workers are seen all of this. No one's saying anything to him because it would be nice. It's not like a craft service is for like people that are on this show.
Starting point is 00:13:03 It was surrounded by where all the workers are. Okay. So, and you know, the workers are hungry, they need a snack or whatever. They grab it. But they had everything, fruit, vegetables, whatever. Everything you need it. Apple. And he got lunchbox got all sorts of stuff.
Starting point is 00:13:16 And not only did he eat it, he started putting in his pocket. So I don't care. If the food's there, you can eat it, right? The pocket thinks it always weird. Well, yeah. I mean, I couldn't just stand there. I wasn't going to just sit at the table. I didn't see plates.
Starting point is 00:13:27 I was like, I'm going to be walking around. So I'll just put it in my pocket and snack while I walk. I mean, I didn't think it was a big deal. There's a food full of table, a table full of food. So I didn't see what the big deal was. If there's a table full of food and it's supposed to be eaten, there's no issue with eating it because I'll eat food. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:13:43 If it's for the crew, that's their only food. Obviously for the crew. But I don't know what it was. I don't know if it was crew food. Yeah, I mean, it is saying, we didn't have passion to be back there. I get yelled at if I eat crew. They are like, the crew food's for literally the crew. Like that's, but I don't know that any of that you're right about what the food was.
Starting point is 00:13:57 There was no sign. There was no sign that said crew food or anything. Don't sneak back there? Yeah, some lady, well, we don't want to throw anyone to the bus. But yes, we were looking for a certain exit. And ladies is like, all right, I'm not supposed to do this, but I'll let you guys through. And we end up in the backstage area where every. Like in the bowels.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Oh, yeah, dude, it is amazing. We're supposed to be back there. That's where we came in. That's the way we entered. Bobby had to go through this one thing to get to his seats, and he only had one credential, which is so bizarre to me because you had two tickets, but one credential. And, like, they wouldn't let me through. He's like, no, she's sitting with me.
Starting point is 00:14:31 These are our two tickets. And they're like, well, we only have one credential. And then Bobby's like, so how do we get to our seats? And he's like, well, you can go. They're like, you can go. And so then I was stuck there. And Bobby went in. but I mean he was going to help me figure it out, but he went in and the guy working,
Starting point is 00:14:44 like, thought that you left me. And I was like, well, what am I supposed to do? He goes, I don't know, but he just left you. I was on the other side. I was going to pass my pass back over to Amy. Yes. And I was like, no, there's no, he wouldn't leave me, but he was like thinking that you left me. And then finally we figured it out and I got another credential, but it was bizarre that,
Starting point is 00:15:00 yeah, we had, whoever you had a seat with, we didn't, it was just. Well, I don't think everybody that had seats had credentials, but I had a credential because I was presenting. We could have got it a different way. Oh, okay. but we went in there was a place where we're supposed to eat in the back and you needed a credential to get an Amy didn't have one so I went in and beat my credential
Starting point is 00:15:19 and passed it back through and nice. It's funny because I think he thought that we were like a date and you straight up just were like, she can't get in peace and I was like no no he'll be back for me, don't worry. Hope everybody has a good weekend. Did you put up a new podcast yesterday? I did with Annie Downs. That's so cool.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Yeah, she is just... I don't know who that is, should I? I mean, she an author. I heard one podcast that she, I guess she has a podcast. And I listened to it because Samantha Steele, who's a sports reporter was on or whatever. And I saw a tweet. I'm like, let me listen to it. And I ended up listening to the whole thing because she's really good.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Yeah. She lives here in Nashville. She's a speaker, an author, and, like, has best selling books and stuff. Like, she's just a fun person. That's like her theme is fun and awesome and knowledgeable. She says she's, like, her gift is, like, finding an easy way to teach people things. And she's good with words. So I was honored to have her my podcast.
Starting point is 00:16:10 podcast kind of geeking out and then she invited me to be on hers so oh really good cool yeah yeah so i'll be doing that for 2020 that's pretty cool isn't it weird how people can be super cool to someone it's just what because i'll be interviewed about about fame sometimes i'm like everybody's famous to somebody and there are people that i'll be like oh that's so cool I'm gonna talk to them and you guys be like I'm no it it is but i'm like oh that's crazy but when you said that and i didn't know but eddie was like oh that's cool like that's just how in a great way how split up you know doing something well people can appreciate it you have all these people platforms to kind of elevate yourself.
Starting point is 00:16:42 How did she get famous, writing books? Yeah, and speaking. Yep, she said she was originally a teacher and then just had a passion and a heart. And she's a Christian author too and just started traveling around and speaking and realized she had a talent for that too. And then like one of her BFFs is Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum. Like she's got a lot of Nashville close friends. So she said that, and she created her podcast.
Starting point is 00:17:08 She's like, well, that sounds like fun. She uses it away. She's like, I literally use it as a way to become friends with people that I want to be friends with. She's like, I invite them on my podcast and boom, I've got them. Well, check it out, four things with Amy Brown. All right, that's the deal. I hope you guys have a great weekend. We'll catch you here Monday, unless you're hearing this over the weekend, then we hope it's already been great.

We're transmitting across America.
Starting point is 00:21:59 This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right. Now, here I'm me. Welcome to the big show on Friday. Morning studio. Morning. I will say that yesterday, it finally happened. I finally had the Popeye spicy chicken sandwich.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Again, earlier in the week, I waited 40 minutes in the drive-thru, and I was like, I have a chicken sandwich. And they gave it to me, but it was a regular chicken sandwich. And I thought it was fine. The regular chicken sandwich Popeye's is not better than the Chick-fil-A regular chicken sandwich. Okay. It's just not better. It's not. So, I was like, all right.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I waited, I went, and I was prepared to wait an hour. I was like, I'm going to give myself an hour in this line. And so I go to Popeye's, it's like 1045, not a soul in sight. Wow, so he's looking like a ghost town? Yeah, and I'm rolling up, Garth Brook style. And I'm in, I'm like, they've got to be out of it then. And I say, hey, can I get that Popeye's chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich? And she says, yeah, I said, can I make sure that's spicy?
Starting point is 00:22:58 Oh. And she says, got it. Drove up. They put it in its own special bag, put it in, got it. and I really wanted it to be warm while I was eating it so I drove home immediately It's like 12 minutes from my house Put it at
Starting point is 00:23:10 And that Again that thing sat so heavy on me last time I didn't feel like I could eat the whole one Because I didn't get rid of that thing for like two days man It's not pretty So I was pretty excited I got the smell I was like taking it in a little bit
Starting point is 00:23:22 And I had four big bites And I tell you It's pretty good Really? Yeah The spicy It's just a sauce is the only difference. So it's not that the bread, because like a chick filet, the spices you can sandwich,
Starting point is 00:23:38 like the spice is in the breading. Not in the breading. But Popeyes, it's in the sauce. It's in the sauce. And it's actually real good. Huh. Okay. I'm not going to stab anybody over it.
Starting point is 00:23:47 I was thinking about it. I was eating it. I was like, I'm my first bite and I was like, hmm, I want to stab anyone over this? And the answer was no. Okay, good. Nor would I wait in an hour for another one. But I get to tell you for like the thickness of the chicken and the sauce is pretty good. I still can't believe it's as viral as it is
Starting point is 00:24:04 but there was a lot of hype it was pretty good and then I saw another story where Popeye staff fights because a worker was selling chicken sandwiches on the side they were taken off from the stores on the side of the day Survivor
Starting point is 00:24:18 I thought that's like quite profitable a video recently obtained by TMZ shows Popeye's employees throwing hands behind the counter and they're just whopping each other the footage was taken in LA location where one of the crew members was heard screaming
Starting point is 00:24:31 blanking, hit me, blanking, turns out they were taking chicken sandwiches and selling them outside of the restaurant and then they were getting mad. It's just amazing how much this chicken sandwich has blown up. It's one of the biggest, if not the biggest
Starting point is 00:24:47 pop culture thing of the year. Yeah. And I don't think there was any plan, because you can't plan on something to go viral, you can't plan on something to boom, but I just think it's a product of its own hype. It's good but all it takes is one or two riots. It makes a news. More people
Starting point is 00:25:03 see it. The next thing you know, you have a theme. You have Old Town Road. Right. Do you think they really ran out of chicken though? Yes. Really? They couldn't keep up with as long as it took to make the sandwiches. Like I was listening to the guy talk. He says, we'd have it going because it's not going to last forever.
Starting point is 00:25:19 And so we couldn't keep, we didn't have enough staff because it's taken like eight and a half minutes at the rate they were making the sandwiches. And they couldn't make the sandwiches fast enough for the people that worked there and they were losing money at the store. because the people spent too much time cooking that one sandwich not making any... So they had to, more so than run out of meat,
Starting point is 00:25:38 they ran out of the way they were able to make the sandwich while not losing money. And they haven't even perfected it now. But you know what? Hats off to them. What time of day did you go? 1045. It was right before 11. Okay, so early.
Starting point is 00:25:51 It opens at, I think my place opens at 10.30? My place. I walk in and they're like, Bobby! Yay! Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. Okay, let's try this. This, Amy, guess the sound? So this is from a viral video.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Here is the clip. Is that a guy using his toes to let out a whoopee cushion, a white Arctic fox laughing, or a dog who accidentally ate a helium balloon? Amy, your answer. A dog who accidentally ate a helium balloon? Well, well, well. That is incorrect. That is actually a white Arctic fox laughing.
Starting point is 00:26:30 I know. Listen to it again now that you know it's a white. Is you really laughing? I hope so. I'm looking at the video here and he's like in a kitchen or something and he's just kind of rolling over. It looks like he's laughing. He's not being, you know, squeeze or anything. Yeah, he's not running from a predator.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Okay, Amy, you did not get a point. If you would have got a point, I would have given both your kids a scholarship to any college they want to. But better luck next time. Maybe next time. But if you were at a one, you would have been good. Let me put Marissa on in Missouri who has a question for us. Hey, Marissa, thank you for calling the show. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:27:05 Hey, I wanted to ask you guys since you were there. I was watching it on TV. Whenever Luke Combs came up to get his award, did the crowd boo him? Or were they saying Luke? They were saying Luke. And I saw it on social media. But we never heard that really.
Starting point is 00:27:22 No. We were in the crowd and it wasn't like a big... Ooh. Yeah, I didn't hear that. But it was Luke, people yelling Luke. Because everybody loves Luke Combs. And nobody would boo at that anyway. It's really not the place for booing.
Starting point is 00:27:35 People do that with Luke's and other news. Like what else, Amy? Duke. Duke. Right? Like the Cowboys had a guy named Daryl Johnson, Moose. Moose. Oh, Moose.
Starting point is 00:27:51 That's a good one, see? Yeah, so I did see that on social media. Let me also say this. And I had said before the CMA Awards that I was pulling for Carrie to win entertainer the year. But that if anybody else won, they deserved it too because we looked at the stats. I thought for the notion of the night and the time that it would be very fitting that she was hosting the award show and she would win and she deserved to win.
Starting point is 00:28:14 But I'm going to tell you, and I said this before the show, so did freaking Garth. He's selling out football stadiums. He's having number one records. And for everyone to be online, if you're upset that just Carrie didn't win, that's okay. However, do not take it out on anybody else who did win. Just in general, in life,
Starting point is 00:28:33 you never help anyone go up by knocking other people. down. And Garth absolutely deserved to win that award. First of all, he was voted on to win the award by thousands of people to vote for the CMAs. So in that context alone, Garth deserved to win. Also, let's not forget. I think next week, this weekend, maybe he's playing Neeland Stadium.
Starting point is 00:28:55 100,000 people are coming. Nobody else in our format can do that. So he absolutely deserved to win. I said on the air that I was in this one instance pulling for Kerry because I thought the time reflected that it would be a perfect win for her. And I didn't want her to have to go up and like here it. And then she didn't win. Garth did.
Starting point is 00:29:16 The end. And everybody's all. And I'm seeing other artists post too. Like I can't believe it. Are you out of your mind? You wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Gar. Oh, I wouldn't post that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:26 People I follow. We're like reposting in their stories. Guys. And a bit with Garth. Biased. Love him as a person. and he's the greatest of all time. He's won so much, too.
Starting point is 00:29:39 You go, well, he's won so much. He doesn't need another one. He doesn't need another one. And he would tell you that too. He would be like, you know, and he went up and was like, it wasn't even about him. He was like, how about Riba tonight? How about Kelsey?
Starting point is 00:29:52 Luke Combs is for you soon. But for people to vilify Garth in any way, you're out of your mind. Yeah, a lot of us because of the time. And I bet you Garth was even going on. I believe Caleb Cary wins Yeah
Starting point is 00:30:08 It would just be But you know what She didn't And he did And he deserved it I'm just seeing people Get upset And I'm watching these blogs
Starting point is 00:30:20 Right She was robbed No she wasn't You can root for whoever you want She was not robbed I also was rooting for her And I will never
Starting point is 00:30:33 Back on anything I say Unless I'm proven wrong That happens a lot too where I've been I'm factually inaccurate. But you guys got to stop. You blog's got to stop. Your website's got to stop.
Starting point is 00:30:44 You people that are but her in your comments and in your Instagram stories. And again, I'm seeing artists post about it. If it wasn't for Garth, you wouldn't be here. He's shaped country music in so many ways that allows you to come out and do your
Starting point is 00:31:00 progressive type of country music. When Garth came to town, they said, Garth, you're not country? God's like, okay, well, I'm going to reinvent country, and then that's going to be what country is. And that's what country is now. He's the entertainer of our lifetime. Yeah, he deserved it. Anyway, I was getting really irritated.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Yeah, I'm still shocked that, like, people in the, like, are posting it out there, putting it public. Like, if you feel that way, for whatever weird reason, which you shouldn't, just like, keep it to yourself. You can be, say, hey, wow, like I did. Wow, I'm surprised Carrie didn't win. I thought that because of the. the theme of the show. I thought that would affect voting. She deserved it. I thought they were all deserving in equal ways, but what's the outside factor that's going to shift it? And I thought because of the theme that would shift it. It didn't. If Eric Church would want, I would say the same thing.
Starting point is 00:31:50 And people are like, I can't believe Eric Church did it win? Yeah, he deserved it too. But you know what? He didn't get enough votes. It's like people now are like, let's go back and change the election. You know what? You lost the election. If your person lost, they lost by the rules. Now you can change. the rules going forward, but don't look back and be butt-hurt because it didn't work like that. Like, you wanted it to work. I mean, so what would, if Garth is still out touring like crazy and doing crazy things, was he supposed to throw in the towel or next year the new rule is, everybody can be nominated except for Garth, even though he's working his butt off.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Like, he's working just, like, I could see where if he had literally done nothing the past year, but that's just not the case. I'm done with this. Done. I got to be the voice of reason. Again. I don't like being the voice of reason I like saying ridiculous things and having people react to it
Starting point is 00:32:40 I hate when I have to come on and be the smart one because I'm not always a lot of times don't get me wrong anyway I'm done with this The Bobby Bones Show Big Three Stories All right it's Friday and Raymundo's got the news Ramundo what you got over there
Starting point is 00:32:56 The vaping debt toll has now hit 42 people over 2,000 have lung issues that have been reported nationwide In Southern California there was a high school shooting that left two students dead, three injured. They're in the hospital recovering right now. And finally, that Arctic blast is finally out of here. You'll start to feel a little bit more normal temperatures this weekend. Ashley and Virginia is on the phone. Ashley, how are you? You pretty good?
Starting point is 00:33:23 I'm good. How are you? I'm real good. I see up here that you'd like to play the 60 second showdown. Yes, sir, I would. Okay, we have one category left, and you have a chance to win cash here. the category is outer space. How do you feel about that? Oh my. I don't know how it would do with outer space, to be honest with you. Bobby, I sit here and giggle at some of these people who don't do so high, and I don't want to be one of those people.
Starting point is 00:33:52 But I will try. It's up to you. You have 10 questions, all have to do with outer space. If you get all 10 right in 60 seconds, you win $100 of my money. How do you feel about that? Well, I feel great about that, but with the $100, I'd like to either donate it to St. Jude or you can give it to Ramundo to get a move on with that engagement ring. Oh, that's funny. Okay, I'll tell you what, if you win because you don't feel like this is your strongest category, I will give $100 to St. Jude, $100 to Ray for the wedding ring, and I will also give you $100.
Starting point is 00:34:25 $300. Wow. Step on down. Oh, my goodness, that's a lot of pressure. It's a lot of pressure. Nope. Nope. Nope.
Starting point is 00:34:35 No, not for the extra Kizash. Are you ready to play? 60 seconds. Raymond, do how you feeling? Oh. Is your cell phone breaking up? Sorry, let's go. That's a microphone.
Starting point is 00:34:45 He's like, I... All right, here we go. 60 seconds. The category is outer space. The clock starts at the end of the first question. Here we go, question number one. Not including Pluto. How many planets are there?
Starting point is 00:34:59 10. Incorrect. What planet is named after the goddess of love? Venus? Correct. How many moons does Earth have? One. Correct.
Starting point is 00:35:11 What planet is known as the red planet? Mars? Correct. The chemical element uranium was named after what planet? Uranus. Our solar system is part of what galaxy? Who was the first man on the moon? Armstrong?
Starting point is 00:35:35 Correct. What's the name of the imaginary line that separates the Earth into two hemispheres? I don't know this, but pass. What's the hottest planet? Earth? Incorrect. What hit the Earth? Earth killing all the dinosaurs?
Starting point is 00:35:55 An asteroid? Correct. You did good. Listen, that's a solid performance. Eight planets. Venus is the goddess of love. Earth has one moon. Mars is the red planet, Uranus. Our solar system is in the Milky Way. Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon.
Starting point is 00:36:09 The equator splits the earth. Mercury is the hottest planet. And an asteroid or meteor killed all the dinosaurs. Would nine have counted? What? Nine. My very energetic mother just served to say, please. Not including Pluto.
Starting point is 00:36:22 How many planets are there? Oh, you said that. Okay. Yeah, because Pluto's arguable. I know. A dwarf planet. Hey, listen, you did pretty good, Ashley, but no price for you. No prize for you, Ashley.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Hey, thank you for calling. Hope you have an awesome day. Thank you. You too. A lot of gigglers at her today. Ha ha. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private, non-profit Christian University

And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron. Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed. Got the food pretty much lined up. I think I'm going to have my house semi-decorated. Amy, I called that person that you were like, hey, get them, decorate your house. It's expensive. I was like, I'll pass.
Starting point is 00:40:36 It's a luxury. Yeah, I live by myself. I don't have any kids. I'll pass. I thought you might want to do it. Maybe I do lights on the outside. Oh, yeah. I don't really know.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Maybe she can hook you up with somebody that's that. But that's expensive too. Yeah, but I don't care if people see on the inside. But not for me. There will be some decoration at our party on Tuesday. Okay. I'm working on the musical guest. Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:57 I tell you who, I don't want to tell you who I almost got. I have a feeling. I have a guess. Because they weren't able to do it. Almost got, it's not. I don't want you to guess because you're going to be disappointed.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Okay, okay, okay. All right. I don't care if you're disappointed, but it's not going to be anybody big. Oh, okay. I'm thinking someone huge. No, it's not. I'm not going to ask somebody to come to my house and play music.
Starting point is 00:41:18 I'm actually going to pay them. Oh. So, yeah, this is setting me back a pretty many. And that's going to be cheaper than the lights? No, no, I'm not, oh, yeah. It's the inside of my house, yeah. Okay, all right. I was going to get my favorite band, the Hot Country Nights, to come play.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Oh, Dirk. Which is Dirk's Bentley. Oh, that's all true. And if they had been in town, they would have played, but they're not all here. Okay. But no. So now I want to get somebody that's newer that will come and I'll pay, because I'm not going to pay a ton. So who did you think I was going to get it?
Starting point is 00:41:47 Ronnie Dunn. Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, I took pictures of you. you and then you're like, hey, ma'am, how about just come to the house? I wouldn't have asked Ronnie Depp for Brooks and not to come later or party. And if you know, if you're both together. But I got, I'll have a tree, I think, set up a fake tree. Pretty sure I'm going to do that.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Okay. And we'll have a bunch of elves. There'll be no presents. You're not giving us presents this year? No. This is not a Christmas party. Oh, that's right. It's a holiday party that's just everybody's together.
Starting point is 00:42:15 You guys can all bring me presents for a change. For a change. Yeah, I don't. I'll get you something. Anyway, I have all these elves That I have a friend that's making these little elves And put names on people Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:25 And she's like selling them She was just doing it for fun And I put her up on my Instagram story I said hey if you want her to make elves for your kids She writes the names on them like does a craft thing Well Amy ordered some for her kids Yeah, I hit her up right away And I just was expecting whatever elves that she had
Starting point is 00:42:40 And she was so thoughtful and sweet And said that she had some That had darker skin Because my kids are Haitian And a lot of times Your only option out there for certain things, a bunch of white stuff everywhere. And once you have like different races in your life,
Starting point is 00:42:56 you're like, oh, okay, like I, this is cool because my kids will appreciate darker-skinned elves. And she said that some other people had requested it, so she ordered some and that she's going to give two of them to my kids. I don't think, I think she's being nice. She's been dying them. Oh, well, however they came. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:12 She's been dying them darker and then have friends that have biracial kids. And so she doesn't die them as dark. Right. That's cool that she can, yeah, customize it that way and that she even thought of that. Like that's really, really thoughtful. It's also something that we don't think about enough to. Listen, you grow up white and everything's white around you. You don't notice what is and what isn't. But you now have two black children. And I bet they're like, why don't I have someone that's like me that I can look up to as much? Yep. So now we're going to have a cute little else. That's good. I'm glad that she was able to do that too. Yeah, no, me too. I appreciate it a lot.
Starting point is 00:43:48 If you guys want to bring me really nice presents to my house on Tuesday. I'm thinking. What can you use? I don't want anything. It's not a Christmas party. It's not. Everybody's good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Again, don't, I'll donate to charity in all of your names. That'll be your gift for Christmas too. You guys have plenty. Everybody on this show is doing wonderfully. That's what I'm going to do forever. I'm just going to call it right now. Well, I have Morgan number two, a gift, a side gift. Whoa, side gift.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Yeah, because I ordered it a long time ago. I ordered a long time ago. So, and I still don't have it. She is different. It's got a little special place in your heart. Yeah, she got a very special place in my heart. That's true. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Morgan number two, 30 second skinny. Blake Shelton was people's sexiest man alive in 2017, so he gave some advice to John Legend after being named the honor. He told him to wait two weeks before looking at social media after the announcement is made because everyone that has ever hated him is going to have something to say about it.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Lady Annabelle's new country album is out today and it's called Ocean. Here's What If I Never Get Over You? It is looking back at the best country music of the past 10 years as we wrap up this decade. Florida Georgia Line and BB Rex is the decade's number one song on the Hot Country Songs chart, and Chris Daibleton's Traveler is the top country album for the 2010s. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny.
Starting point is 00:45:20 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. When Justice Garcia of New Mexico was 20 months old, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Fortunately, she beat the disease and is now fully recovered, but neither she nor her family forgot about that struggle. That's why they've spent years growing out their hair to donate wigs for kids as a charity. And now, Justice is celebrating her five-year anniversary of being in her mission.
Starting point is 00:45:46 She, her mom, her sister, they all got haircuts and cut off 12 inches of their hair, 36 inches total. And so as a family, they continue to donate hair over and over. It's a milestone, and they're like, we did five years, and we're going to keep growing up. going out of her, not just her, which is amazing by itself, but her family. So I thought that was awesome. I wanted to share that. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:46:09 That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobid Bones Show. Bonehead. Norrie of the day. This story comes us from Florida. A man was driving home Sunday night in a rush to get home. He's going 90 miles an hour in a 55 mile an hour zone. Cops.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Woo! And he's like, look, officer, I've got to get home. I was out cheating on my wife. And she's going to know if I'm not home in time. You got to get home and quick. I get it. Looking for that grace from the officer. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:36 And so he got arrested for reckless driving. Wow. You know, you know you're probably going to get in trouble, right? Wow. You are reckless driving. You wonder, though, if maybe your honesty, because it's what they call a flyer. You're taking a flyer on a big...
Starting point is 00:46:51 Because maybe one out of ten times the officer goes, I get it. Maybe. Right. Because what else are you going to say? Oh, I didn't know. They're never going to let you off for that. But they should.
Starting point is 00:47:01 shouldn't end, but yeah, that's interesting. All right, that's it, Lunchbox? I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. The Bobby Bone Show. So this week was a big week for us. The CMA Awards were in town. We did a lot of interviews. And so Mike D. has taken a lot of the laughs from the interviews and created a game
Starting point is 00:47:20 out of it. So you're going to name that artist. This is a Mike D special. A Mike D special. So, write down your answer. I'll play you a laugh from a country artist. that was interviewed by one of us. He's named the artist.
Starting point is 00:47:34 You guys ready? Ready out. All right, here we go. This is laugh number one. Okay, well, I'm going to play it one more time. This is laugh number one. Okay, there you go. I'm in for the winner.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Yeah, I'm in. I'm in 100%. Okay, Amy? I think I'm the one that made this person laugh. Jimmy Allen. What? You're 100% and you lost? That's exactly how funny Jimmy Allen thought I was.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Andy, did you think you were that funny? You thought you were that funny? Amy, come on. I am 100%. I made this person laugh this hard. Luke Brian. Oh. Guys, that's Luke Brian.
Starting point is 00:48:23 I love that laugh. Amy, you've been eliminated. Oh. One and done. Just like that? Oh, one and done. Why do you do the one and doneers? And you were 100%.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Why don't we just keep score? We're doing Survivor style for a while. You always love it when you're not eliminated. Yeah. You go out of first round. Amy, I'm with you. I go out of the first round a lot. So I wish we didn't do a new survivor.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Man, I just got such a good. Isn't that funny? Here we go. Number two, name the laugh. Name that country star laugh. One more time. There you go. I'm in.
Starting point is 00:49:06 What? We'll give it to you one more time. Thank you. Here you go one more time. Just for ships and giggles. You're going to slim one of these days. I don't curse in my real life. That's a close one.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Cursed though. Not even a thing. Could that be? Oh, lunchbox may not know it. I mean, I have no idea, really. All right, lunchbox need an answer? All right, I'm in for the win. Billy Carrington.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Eddie, you win. If we're two in, go ahead. He's two and done. That's Keith Irvin. There he is. There's our winner. By the way, I love this illuminator. style bones. Yeah, I love it.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Yeah, the games do go out pretty quick, though, sometimes. You want to roll one more round with it? Yes. That's tough. Amy. Amie? Ami, you're back in? Oh, one and done's back in. Okay, let's see, again, this is a country star laugh. Just name the country star. Okay, there you go.
Starting point is 00:50:04 It sounds like multiple people laughing, but go ahead. Wow. I'm in for the win. A lot of laughs. Who made them laugh? It wasn't tickle in there. Amy. That's Little Big Town, Kimberly in particular. Okay, and how...
Starting point is 00:50:19 100%. 100%. There she is. What? Oh, one and done. 100% of 9. We're 100 for now on. Okay. Are you serious?
Starting point is 00:50:31 Amy, Amy, when they're laughing real hard, you know I interviewed them. That's Lady Annabelle. That's correct. Eddie? That's Lady Anavella. 100%. I don't know why you don't take me downtown like you got anywhere better to be. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Sorry old one and done When Amy says their answer I was like oh man I got it wrong Next up here we go There you go let's play that again What country star is that I'm in Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:51:04 Old two and done's right in down here I'm in for the win Oh two Peace out Two and out Lunch bikes I put Jimmy Allen Eddie
Starting point is 00:51:16 Jimmy Allen Jimmy Allen You're in Yeah Amy you kind of that one up. Yeah, without Amy, I wouldn't have got it. All right, let's do the next one. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Okay, there you go. We're going to play that one more time. What country star is that? It's a good laugh. Oh, yeah, you like that? Yeah, I mean, funny joke, Mr. Heard. I'm in for the win. Lunch bikes.
Starting point is 00:51:45 I made this guy laugh, Billy Currington. All right. And Eddie, for the win. Again, if you hit this one, you have one. say if I was right or wrong. Oh, hold on. Eddie, if you get this right, you win again. You would be the domination.
Starting point is 00:51:57 I'm wrong. Name that country. Artist's laugh. Eddie, who do you have? This is my boy, Kit Moore. All he does is win. Come on. There he goes.
Starting point is 00:52:10 Nice job. Hey, guys, come on. Amy, you went 100% twice and lost twice. I guess that game is not my best. Yes. I agree. The Bible Bowl show. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:52:25 Fun fact Friday. Okay. So yesterday, you know, between Elder versus Millennial, we talked about Spud McKinsey. Spuds McKinsey. A spuds. The Bud Light Dog from back in the day. So I got a fun fact about Spud's McKenzie. He was actually a girl.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Yeah, I knew that. Female dog. Yes, it's the dog from the commercials in the 80s. It was really female. And her real name was Honey Tree Evil Eye because of the spot on her eye. So when we were talking about, is it fictional or not? It was. Spuds McKenzie was just a dog. It's like playing a character, like an actor.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Wow. You know, the target dog reminds me of Spuds McKinsey now. Maybe same breed. I think that's like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Yeah. But with the spot on its eye. Cute dogs. All right, what else?
Starting point is 00:53:08 And speaking of names and characters, Lil Wayne's original rap name was Shrimp Daddy. On fact. Interesting. Yeah, had no idea. They used to call me that when I left out back. There he goes. Your alter ego or rap name is Captain Caucasian.
Starting point is 00:53:28 That's true. Fun fact. I'm trying to get to Admiral, though. Oh, yeah. You've been a captain for a lot. I know, I haven't graduated much. I know, I know. All right, what else?
Starting point is 00:53:37 And then sometimes, you know, with Ray Mundo's height, I don't really know that he has Napoleon syndrome. I mean, he's 5'6. Oh, my God. Wow. He doesn't. No, no, no. I was going to, this is me asking.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Let me explain what Napoleon's syndrome is. It means since you're short, you're trying to kill everything else to take over the world in anger because you were born shorter than everyone else. No, no, no. I'm really good looking and makes up for that. Yes, see, I don't think he has it, but he is the shortest. You said, I don't think. I don't think, because I don't think he has it,
Starting point is 00:54:06 but I don't know how he feels inside about it and what he's trying to do, but I don't think he has it, and he's right. It's very good looking, and Ray, your height is just fine. But I saw Napoleon's real height. Do you know how tall? In my head, from my whole life, I've always thought it was like 5'3. Napoleon Bonaparte. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Yes. Does that his last name? Uh-huh. Five, seven. Oh, is that right? Yeah, that's like normal. Well, I don't know how big people were, you know, there then. I was reading a story about George Washington.
Starting point is 00:54:36 And at the time when George Washington was president or when he was, you know, in the military, he was considered a beast amongst his men because he was six foot tall. Oh, wow. He was six foot two, twenty-two. Now, I'm 6 foot now. I'm definitely not 225. But then that was really large and tall for guys. But I am surprised that Napoleon was 5'7. It was pretty big. And who is the tallest president, Amy? The tallest president? Abraham Lincoln. Correct. It's 6'4. I says here George Washington was 6'2 on this page. But still he was a big presence.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Bill Clinton, over 6 foot tall or not? Nah. 6 foot 2. Really? I never seen him in person. Ronald Reagan over six foot or no Yeah Barack Obama over six foot or no No Yeah six foot one
Starting point is 00:55:24 I know I thought he's point guard Obama and Trump are both six foot one It can be tall to it That's true I thought point guards are always smaller What else you got? Okay and another fun fact And one that I think a lot of us are going to enjoy
Starting point is 00:55:37 Is Chick-fil-A has officially put out Their peppermint chocolate chip milk shake For the season And they're going to keep it out Till January 2020 or while supplies last at participating location. So if you're wanting to get in the holiday spirit, get yourself a peppermine chocolate chip milkshake.
Starting point is 00:55:53 All right. And then Starbucks, too, they now have their Christmas cups out. Another fun fact. Kind of makes me want to just go get something from Starbucks so I can have a Christmas. They have reusable ones too. Shout out to that. All right.
Starting point is 00:56:06 Don't forget, Eddie and I will be in Vegas tonight. Yep. So if you guys want to come to the Smith Center, it's a big theater. We're going to do comedy of music. We'd love to see at Ragingididgets.com. That is tonight. Amy, that's your cue.
Starting point is 00:56:16 I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Back in January, Sidney Crosby won the MVP Award, the NHL All-Star Game, and he's like, man, I got a brand new Honda Passport for being named the MVP. I want to do something special.
Starting point is 00:56:38 So he found an Army specialist, single mom with a three-year-old boy that was taking Ubers and public transportation to school and to work. And he said, you know what? I'm going to donate the car. you. What up? Wow, that's cool. Yeah, good for him. Shout out Pittsburgh, Penguins. Yeah, good for him for just looking for something to do with it, you know? Because he could have just been like, eh, whatever, I keep it or I sell it, but he looked for
Starting point is 00:56:59 something to do with it. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:00:28 That's get sunday.com. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. Transmed, this is the Bobby Bonds. Let's go over to Amy and get a Thanksgiving morning. Corny. Here we go. The Morning Corny!
Starting point is 01:00:52 What role do green beans play in Thanksgiving dinner? What role do green beans play in Thanksgiving dinner? The casserole. There it is. Okay. She did her arms too. I don't know why she did, but she really sold that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yesterday I went to Bob Kingsley's Celebration of Life, which Bob Kingsley was really the big. biggest and first ever country countdown guy. And I got to know him really well later on in his life.
Starting point is 01:01:22 And I list him a lot growing up. And so went and, you know, got, you know, put on the suit and tie. And I was going to go and read part of the cowboy prayer, which I did. And, but I was walking back and there were so many people in country music that were there as well. And just to kind of give people behind the scenes of what they call the country music family is like. I'm walking through the halls and Garth is standing in the hallway and so it's Garth Brooks and Trisha who we know rather well now and Garth didn't have to be there
Starting point is 01:01:56 like Garth had, Garth won't entertainer the year the night before at the CMAs and then was just there to show his support for Bob Kingsley and when I talk about how good of a dude Garth is aside from the fact that he is the biggest artist of our lifetime in country music has sold more records than everybody but the Beatles
Starting point is 01:02:16 is the biggest American selling act of all time and he's just standing in the hallway and I'm talking to Garth and he's so present in what's happening around him he sees Bob Kingsley's family coming down the hall and we're talking but he goes hey hold on he takes off his hat as they walk by and I don't even notice him walking down the hall
Starting point is 01:02:34 so as we're talking you're talking about somebody who doesn't have to notice anything anywhere because everybody's noticing him but he's so present and just again that wasn't even the celebration of life so garth did that and this just tells you how good of a guy bob kingsley was because everybody was really going out of their way to be there for him because he was there for everybody through his time so dirks was there dirk spenley and again we're close to dirks and he just is an a plus human being aside from being a country music superstar and dirk spently is
Starting point is 01:03:09 there and you know dirks was out the night before doing his deal and he had done GMA that morning. We both had done GMA yesterday. And so Dirk's playing at Bob Kingsley's funeral because the last number one of Bob Kingsley's countdown was Dirk's Living. And so they played Living. Oh, wow. I just got goosebumps. You got the whole band and they came and played Living. And then they played Will the Circle Be Unbroken, which is like the ultimate country music song about just passing, you know, and you don't want the circle to be broken. So you want to keep the circle on broken.
Starting point is 01:03:51 And so they played this. I mean, it was not just a testament to Bob Kingsley, who I just treasured our friendship, but to country music. And I think that it was such a fitting, and you hate to say send off, but for what it was yesterday, completely fitting.
Starting point is 01:04:11 And then, you know, a bunch of us radio guys were, We're together. I was with Blair Garner. I was with Charlie and Lori Ann, Cook and Chase. And so we were all sitting together. And it was just a really fantastic day for something that you hated to see happen, which is a passing of one of our friends. But I just think that he is smiling down going, man, that's what I've been doing. And that's why I've been doing it because the community, it was just, you felt it'd just be so tight yesterday. And so I just wanted to share that story because it's, it's hard. to see who's really who behind the scenes. Everybody's putting on their microphones and their TV cameras and their makeup and their Instagrams.
Starting point is 01:04:52 But I'm telling you, man, that that country music world when it comes down to it, it's just a bunch of normal folks. And I'll do these interviews sometimes where they go, why? I'll be over in Los Angeles where it's not the same. This is not the same. And they're like, why are country music people so different? It's just, we're raised. I think we're raised different.
Starting point is 01:05:13 We're just raised different and you see that happen again in events like yesterday. So it was just a touching few hours yesterday. That's special. And the color guard came because he served. And so they presented her with the flag, his wife. And so it was a really lovely day for the passing of someone who was just a super lovely person. and it was emotional obviously, which they always are. But I just wanted to shout out everybody.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Yeah. No, I'm glad you did. I mean, hearing stories like that too, it just makes, like I'm sitting here thinking I'm sure all of us, like a little bit more grateful for the community we work in. Like not everybody has that, those feelings of where the people they work with. And that's how it feels. It's like we're all working together. And literally the biggest superstars are sitting right there at the table just eating
Starting point is 01:06:11 Like me and Garth and Trisha We're just eating cucumbers As they were loading up the room Because everybody just wanted to be there to respect To have respect I'm done talking about it But you're listening to the show I know sometimes you're like
Starting point is 01:06:23 What's happening? And with the people we don't get to hang out with all the time I'm telling you there's a lot of good people in this world So before we went to these CMA awards Amy came over to my house and just got ready at my house And we just wanted to make sure Because it was like in the middle of traffic We were in the same car
Starting point is 01:06:39 We were in the same place Right And I said, hey, Amy, bring your trophy over to the house. We'll take a picture with it together. And so we just got him here at work. And so Amy has the trophy and then she dropped it and broke it. Oh, my God. Within how long?
Starting point is 01:06:54 Oh, 15, 20 minutes, maybe. It's a fancy trophy. I know. The here's a deal. The way that it broke, I mean, it is definitely in two pieces. But the glass part that sticks straight up and then, the base, like I think it fits perfectly back on top. So if I just super glue it around there and you don't...
Starting point is 01:07:17 How did it fall? It just fell out of my car in the box. Oh, you had to leaned up against the door. And then you open the door and then it falls out the door. And then, I mean, it was in the box. So I thought, I don't know the protection that this box is providing, but maybe some. And then we open up the box. Well, it's like a cardboard box.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Yeah. But it's not like a little, like, box in an airplane is going to protect everything at all. To be fair, because I dropped this one too. Is it the ACM that looks like the cowboy hat? It's like silver? That's metal, though. Drop that, didn't break. What is wrong?
Starting point is 01:07:51 I heard that you drove over the valet sign when at the... You sure did. I did. I did. We were doing interviews for CMA for CMA awards. I did. I mean, I would love to tell you that I didn't, but it was awkward and I did. And there was... Well, I'll be through this.
Starting point is 01:08:08 So you're in your car. So you pull up to do the CMA radio remotes. And so there's a bunch of country artists there. So a lot of people come stand outside to see the country artist and say, hey, there's a bunch of fans out there for them. And I'm like, oh, there's valet. This is amazing. So I go to pull in and there was a valet sign to tell you where to go and I ran over it.
Starting point is 01:08:32 I don't know. Like, I don't know why. Was it under your car? No. It just like, like, bling. I mean, it was loud. and like I had to, I rolled down the window and looked back and of course all those fans were like, what? I think they're like, ooh, who's that? And they rolled on the window, it's me. It's like nobody.
Starting point is 01:08:47 And they're like, oh, you just hit that. And so they were all laughing. But it was fine. Everything's fine. Still usable. They could put it right back up. Do you think you're the worst driver on the show? No. Okay. Who is? I don't know. I mean, I guess if you say on the show, then yes. Oh, oh, you're claiming worst driver on the show. Maybe utility Hillary. she's pretty awful. I don't know. She's the only other person
Starting point is 01:09:12 that he hits things. But I too have run into this building in my husband's truck. Popped his tire and ran. Remember that? Yeah. Like I was leaving the garage and I took too,
Starting point is 01:09:23 I don't know, not too big of a turn, too small of a turn or something and it punctured. The garage door punctured the tire. It went flat. And then I scraped the whole side of it. And it was Valentine's Day. Huh.
Starting point is 01:09:35 And he showed up here with flowers for me. And I was like, well, there's your truck. Happy Valentine's Day. Yeah, so the valet thing was unfortunate. I do think the sign was a little bit far out. Oh, yeah, it was the sign's fault for sure. For sure. I didn't think about that, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:50 But. And it was the box's fault that the word broke. So I thought it would be stronger. No, the door, but anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm going to grill a glue that thing and it's going to be fine. All right. You're going to never know. We have something we do called the real life mail bag where real life things come up to the studio.
Starting point is 01:10:05 And utility Hillary's coming in with a box. What is, what do we have here? Who is this sent from? Luke Combs has sent a package to the studio. Hmm. Let's see what this is here. Real life. I have not opened this yet.
Starting point is 01:10:20 They are. Oh, nice. The camouflage Luke Combs Crocks. Oh, that's awesome. Oh, look at that. And he's got, what do they call those things you put in the holes? Charms? Giblets.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Is that what they're called in Crocs, the Giblets? Oh, that's very nice of them. The real-life mail bag. We got some real-life, are they my size? Luke, shoes my birthday once too like tennis shoes oh look at that guy hey there we go real life mailbag thank you very much um did you get a picture of that
Starting point is 01:10:48 were you trying to now you can use it last night I asked Eddie if he was sore because last night we were trying to do this like gymnastics trick together on yeah where were y'all what were you doing we were to record in studio we were yeah we were recording Christmas song but we were trying to do this balance beam thing on the human body we were trying to balance on each other yeah do you think we're gonna get it I did didn't you sort of kind of we got close
Starting point is 01:11:11 It's on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones. The problem is we have to sit in each other's lap to do it. Yeah. I mean, at first I was like, what is happening? Is that Eddie? And then I was like, that's Eddie. Yeah, yeah. Sitting on Bobby's lap.
Starting point is 01:11:22 We're going to Vegas tonight, so we're going to try it again. In person? Yeah. Oh, no, no, no. Live on stage? We're not doing that on stage. No, we're not. My pants are too tight on stage.
Starting point is 01:11:31 They can't do that. Okay. So that's on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones. But that's what we did. We recorded a Christmas song last night. And then we, the guy who's producing our song, who has better things to do than shoot us on TikTok trying to do the human body. We had it up for like 30 minutes shooting us.
Starting point is 01:11:45 We're like, let's do it right again. He's a very talented person. He's like, I got to go produce this song. And we're like, no, no, no, but shoot us one more TikTok. We just kept falling down. Anyway, it's up Mr. Bobby Bones if you want to see that. What was I going to do? I feel like that's something I was going to bring up with you guys.
Starting point is 01:12:00 Oh, that's it. Thank you. We were watching Old Dominion. My favorite Old Dominion song in a long time is this one-man band here. I don't want to be a one-man band here. favorite band, possibly my favorite artist. So good. Like contemporary Casey,
Starting point is 01:12:16 Old Dominion. The beginning of this song, though, do you have the beginning of the song, Ray? This is one-man band. Anytime we hear this now, what do we start singing? I took it out. It was a Friday night. I get to feeling right. Here's the Blink 1-D2 version.
Starting point is 01:12:36 Oh my gosh. I don't want to be a one-man band. I don't want a man. It's all the stone alone. Take it a lot on it was. It's so crazy. Even at the... Play one of my band again.
Starting point is 01:12:50 At the CMA Awards, they played it live. And Bobby and her sitting there were like, it was a Friday night. We did the same thing too. It started out. It was a Friday night. Am I alone? It wasn't feeling right.
Starting point is 01:13:03 We started making out. She took out my pants. And then I turned on the TV. That's a matter. It's right away from me. You can do it to both songs. It's just a little faster. Play Blink again.
Starting point is 01:13:16 Here we go. I don't want to be a one-man band. I don't want to be a rolling stone alone. Maybe not in a rundown man. That's really funny. Are we just the only ones that think we're funny, though? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:13:34 I wonder if All Dominion has ever even thought that themselves. They probably sing it all the time with their own set. All right. Thank you guys for hanging out with us. Starting point is 01:17:27 But we're going to go rescue a cat in the meantime because we want to add another pet to our family. So they go to this event for animals that need homes to get a cat. Then a volunteer walks out with a dog on a leash to take a dog out to walk. that was at the shelter, and it was dopey. No way. And they're like, what? That's dopey. No way.
Starting point is 01:17:47 And, yeah, the shelter was like, yeah, dopey arrived as a stray, like on October 1st or something, and they had been taken care of him, and they were hoping to get him adopted, you know, at the event. I got chill bump some arms. Yeah, so they got a cat and they got their dog, dopey back. What? Wow.

And I was like, wow, look at that. And once it really happened, you go, do I even like it like this? I do. I'm into it for the overall reason that I don't want anyone to feel pressure to only put up things
Starting point is 01:18:36 to get a bunch of likes. Or if you don't get likes, you either have to take it down. or not feel as good about yourself. But you can still see your likes. The public can't. You can. Sure. So they did take down the likes yesterday and I posted it.
Starting point is 01:18:52 Now I will look for my validation from within my heart. Not your likes. And not from my phone. At least until they put the likes back and then I'll go back to validation from the phone. Yeah. So yeah, that's what's the haves with me? I spent a little bit posting about that and talking about that yesterday. Hey!
Starting point is 01:19:07 Hey! What's the Hats? Amy? So my husband had to have a little surgery on his face. I ain't little. I got to tell you. I know. That ain't a little.
Starting point is 01:19:16 Well, I mean, I guess they made it sound like it was just going to be a little because he had some like melanoma on there and they wanted to obviously get it off of his face. And so they were like, we're going to have to cut in here, cut in here a little bit. Well, like two days, he had to go back a couple days to get more and more cut each time. And they finally sewed him up and then they said, you know, after this amount of time, you can take your band of drops. So it was like the big reveal and we didn't know what it was going to look like. And my husband was so nice.
Starting point is 01:19:40 nervous. And then he saw himself in the mirror and he was like, this is so legit. Oh, it looks like he was cut with a big knife from the top of his cheekbone all the way down to almost his jaw. Yeah. Like it's Scarface style. Like it's, it's hardcore. So I think he's just embracing it. And they say it'll heal up just fine. But right now with the stitches, it looks intense. And I was like, whoa, but it didn't faz him at all. Like he's like, no, this looks pretty tough. I'm fine with it. So is that scar going to be there that just like that? They say, I mean, to me, I'm like, I don't know how that's not going to be a massive scar, but it's called a Mo's surgeon,
Starting point is 01:20:14 and they're like the best, and they put your face back together to where maybe, they say in six weeks, we won't even know it was there. I'm like, are you sure? Amy wants it to stay? She's like, keep on. Well, no, I'm fine with it.
Starting point is 01:20:25 I mean, I'm fine if it stays or goes. I think my husband kind of wants it to stay because it looks tough. All right, well, we're rooting for him. Yeah. All right, what's the haps? Hey, what's the hats? Lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:20:36 Well, kind of piggybacking on Amy. Amy heard, or my wife heard Amy, Amy talking about her husband getting the, you know, dermatologist having to go get surgery. She's like, sat me down last night. Look, we have not been to a dermatologist since we've met. And so I am making us appointments. So she's been doing research. So Amy, thank you.
Starting point is 01:20:52 My wife is now making us go to dermatologist. That's good. Changing the world. Yeah, I've never been to a dermatologist. You haven't? Never. But haven't you had moles removed? Yeah, I went to my regular doctor and he's like, let me get out the old box cutter.
Starting point is 01:21:05 Oh, okay. I buy down on a bullet and he box cuts the moles off. basically like, yeah, I told you. How I grew up, that was a fancy doctor. And there's no reason to go to a fancy doctor. Yeah. I know. I mean, I didn't go to one until later in life either, but it's just something.
Starting point is 01:21:18 Check your plan. If you've got it, like go get a check from head to toe because you never know what could be on your body. Like I said, I do my own personal check every Friday night, which is tonight. Hey, what's the hat? Producer Eddie? I guess I'm really slow at getting used. But again, I found out something that maybe other people have known. but Netflix is coming out with a Selena special.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Do you know this? Like a movie or a series? I think it's a series. Starring Jennifer Lopez? No, it's not. It's somebody from the Walking Dead. I don't know who that is. But it's coming out in 2020 is all I know.
Starting point is 01:21:50 There's no release date. But dude, this is a big part of my childhood. Selina. Selina, be be bedy, bum, bum. Yeah, that's going to be good. I mean, I'm so excited for this. I love the movie, so I can't wait for this. All right, there you go.
Starting point is 01:22:01 Hey, what's the hat? Hey, what's the hat? Reach out to us. If there's something you want to ask, Ask us. We read a lot of these on the air. Let's go with the mailbag. Bobby's Mailbag. Hey Bobby, my name is Adam. I'm in a great relationship right now. I've been with my girlfriend for two years. But I've had a few encounters with the woman I work with, and I've been starting to feel guilty about it.
Starting point is 01:22:28 She was recently hired, and we've worked together on a few work projects. Nothing more than work. But I find myself getting butterflies when I'm around her now. I feel like this is just human nature It's something you can't help It's only wrong if you act on it I'm in a great relationship I love my girlfriend But
Starting point is 01:22:45 Is it okay to get butterflies Around someone other Than your significant other From Adam Amy So how can you control if you get butterflies I mean I'm just asking that part I don't think it's what it's about
Starting point is 01:23:01 I think it's about Should he not be around her as much Oh he just said Oh well I think if you're getting the butterflies Then maybe there could be something there Yeah, you just to keep it safe. What do you advise him? I would say probably, yes, keep it work and then don't put yourself in that position.
Starting point is 01:23:18 If you feel like maybe the butterflies could turn into something else, like just be proactive about it. If you truly like the relationship you're in, then that's a way to help protect that. You can call us too if you want to throw a little input in here. 877-77-Bobby, that's our phone number. 877, Bobby. Life isn't about what you feel. It's about how you act on what you feel. Through our life, we feel a lot of things about a lot of things.
Starting point is 01:23:48 But where our self-control comes in, listen, I want to eat pie and cake every day. I feel like I want to eat pie. Like all I do is want to do is eat sugar and take naps. I don't want to get up early and go to work. I feel like I want to stay in bed. Life is not about what you feel. Things happen.
Starting point is 01:24:03 They're going to happen all the time. It's your self-control. strong enough to not act on it. It's okay. Be a rounder. All good. As long as you don't act, you're all good, buddy. It's when you act.
Starting point is 01:24:16 It's when the ship hits the fan. That battleship, you know, the battleship hits the fan. So it's okay to feel things. I think it's great to feel things and not act on them because you can't control that. So I don't think he should even manipulate his activities if he's not. Here's the thing. If he is going to act on it, he's going to act on it with somebody else too. it's not a one person thing.
Starting point is 01:24:38 So you're good, dude. You're good. It's okay to feel things. Just don't act on it. And if your girl says she doesn't feel that way, about some dude you're not telling the truth. Oh, so now you're automatically labeling her a liar? No, I'm just saying, she didn't say that.
Starting point is 01:24:53 I'm just saying that we all feel things around people. Yeah. This is not a Disney movie. I was talking about therapist yesterday. She goes life's not a Disney movie. Oh. She's like it's not. It's not.
Starting point is 01:25:03 I know we watch these movies. We see these stories. We hear stories. They're all romanticized and we feel like we're not experienced. anything's in that so something's wrong with us or something's wrong with our relationship. That's the opposite of what real life is like. She goes, you go, you have struggles, you get through them, you're stronger because of them. The struggles actually make the relationship strong if you can get through the struggle.
Starting point is 01:25:21 But it's the can you get through it? This guy's struggle right now is, I don't know, should I feel guilty? You shouldn't feel guilty for what you feel ever. You don't feel guilty if you act on it in a dishonest way. That's why I say. Yeah. So we're kind of on the same page here? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:35 Don't change what you're doing day to day. You know what? That's fun for you. You're not doing anything. You shouldn't feel guilty. I'm going to end on this. You just shouldn't feel guilty for feeling anyway whatsoever. You should not feel guilty for having a feeling. You should only feel guilty if you act on that feeling if it's a feeling that you shouldn't have acted on. No feelings should you feel bad about. You can't control them. Back to therapy.
Starting point is 01:25:58 How, any other revelations? Yeah. Yes. At the end. But it wasn't about love so much. It always gets back to love. But I'm going to this therapist that specializes in relationships if you're new to the show. And she has people that sit in two chairs across from each other the whole time. I'm the only person that goes in by myself. There's nobody across from me. Right.
Starting point is 01:26:17 So I'm just daring to nobody. Looking at her sometimes. But as we're leaving, because we set out my appointment each week. I don't have a standard time because I'm traveling a lot. And so at the end of the appointment, she goes, when do you want to come in again? And so we find a spot on the calendar that works for both of us. And I go, how about next Wednesday in the afternoon? What do you have?
Starting point is 01:26:34 she's like well I have a you know a 2 p.m. And I go I go can you do 130 and she goes Well I have a I can't She goes I'll move them and I go no do not move anybody for me She's like why I can move it? No no no no no no I will come I will she goes oh you don't oh that's the thing huh you don't anybody do anything for you ever do you And I'm like yeah you're right
Starting point is 01:26:56 She goes yeah sometimes you's gotta let people do stuff for you Because people want to do night don't you like do nice things for other people I'm like yeah And she's like well yeah but you don't let anybody do anything anything for you? I was like, no. Almost never. She's like, well, I'll get on that next time. Okay. Wednesday. Then she's like,
Starting point is 01:27:12 because you felt like you were in survival mode of your life. You let nobody do anything for you because nobody did forever. You had to do it yourself. Right. I mean, it makes sense. Then you felt weak if anyone had to because I always talk about how I feel like I'm a charity case all the time, just from my upbringing. You know, there was no Christmas without
Starting point is 01:27:28 the church group bringing us Christmas presents for years. So I don't want to, I didn't like that feeling of being charity. and so I think I'm just always running from it now. So there's a little breakthrough there. I like it. Thank you for asking. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:44 Do you want to take some calls on this in a second? Yeah. Everybody has different opinions. Like right now, I can put Celeste on in South Carolina real quick. Can we put her on? Celeste, you're on the Bobby Bone show. We'll lead to your call. Go ahead. You're like if he gets more than just butterflies and feels like he needs to see her all the time,
Starting point is 01:28:06 he needs to back off. that's sort of what I was saying. But if he starts to see her all the time extra, that's him acting on it. Right. Unless it's a required, like we have to work together at the moment. But when you're going out of your way to make more butterflies. Yes, I would say that's him acting on it in a way that's not being honest. Right.
Starting point is 01:28:23 Right. So, yeah. Don't feel bad for how you feel. Period. Anybody ever? Feel bad if you act on how you feel. Do you disagree with that, Eddie? Right.
Starting point is 01:28:32 Well, you mentioned the whole the pie thing. There's a good analogy with a pie, the sweets or whatever. And what you always do is you're like, I want it out of the house. I don't even want it near you. But I don't have to be with them. If it's work and you have to be in an environment with somebody. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:46 And that's kind of like the caller saying, if he works with this person and then he gets the butterflies, he's like, oh, I want to be working with her more and see her more. Being around her may cause him to just act on it without him even thinking about it. So I would just say if you have to work with her, work with her. But just that's the most you can be with her. Yeah, he has to work with her. That's part of the story.
Starting point is 01:29:07 I don't think they're volunteering for projects together or going on trips. I just feel it's inevitable. Like, he's just going to, like, the more time he spends with it, the more he's going to like her. Well, she might not have the butterflies. Yeah, dude. Oh, good point.
Starting point is 01:29:21 I didn't think about that. Starting point is 01:32:53 hey, I had to work with this girl, and I'm getting butterflies around her. Because I have a girlfriend. I'm happy with my girlfriend. But should I stop working with this girl? Because I'm getting these severe butterflies. And my thing, not just in this situation, but any situation is you're going to feel a lot of ways you should not penalize yourself in any way for your feelings, only how you act on them.
Starting point is 01:33:10 Amy suggested too that he just quit his job apparently, right? Know what you said? Get out of there? I didn't say that. I felt like he said. What did you say? I said, I think along the lines of like if you find yourself, yes, creating more work to be around that person, you have to find that separation. Like make sure it's just work and then, yeah, if not, you need to remove yourself from it.
Starting point is 01:33:32 Sue in Texas. What's going on, Sue? Appreciate you. Yes, sir. God gave us eyes to be attracted, obviously, to the opposite sex. But just keep it copacetic, keep it working, work only. And doesn't have any reason to feel guilt. Just keep it work and go home to whom he loves. You think? That's like what you were saying.
Starting point is 01:33:53 Yeah, I just think even more. Yes, absolutely. I agree with you 100%. It's just much bigger than having butterflies for another human. The way you feel about anything, you shouldn't, penalize yourself for that. It's an acting thing. I agree.
Starting point is 01:34:09 No, I'm going to agree with everybody, I'm sure. Because nobody in the right mind would disagree with me, right? I mean, that's kind of the truth. I don't know that's the case. Let's see. I'm just kidding. I'm being facetious. Jeb in Indiana, you're on the air.
Starting point is 01:34:20 Hi, how are you? What up, dude? Good, good. Love listens to you guys, as always every morning here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Thanks, bud. Yeah. Go ahead. What do you want to say?
Starting point is 01:34:31 So my thought is I would be questioning him about since he's not married, I assume, or he's not engaged to his girlfriend. Does he have those feelings still towards his girlfriend? Does he get butterflies or that special feeling when they're together? Not all the time, but that's where I would kind of check where I'm at because this is what, you know, dating is all about and having a girlfriend and so forth. and we just celebrate our 31 years of marriage last month. And I still get butterflies when my wife is around. That's awesome. I mean, I see other people and, you know, I get feelings and, you know,
Starting point is 01:35:10 oh, they're attractive or whatever. But I guess what I do is what brings me back is I have those same feelings from my wife. And that's what we keep focusing on day in and day out. There you go. Good wisdom right there. Goals. Goals. Yeah, goals.
Starting point is 01:35:25 There you go. Yeah. Appreciate that. But let me do another one. How about Courtney in Texas you're on the air? Last caller, go ahead. So, hey, everybody, by the way. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:35:37 I feel like it's more like a love-lust thing. You know, like you said about eating cake all day. It's not good for you. Vegetables are much better. They make you a much better person. So it's lusting over that. He may hit it and quit it and regret not keeping his girlfriend kind of thing. you know
Starting point is 01:35:59 you know what there you go butterflies to hit it and quit it was quite the leap but could happen butterfly lead to hit it in quite it though all yeah yeah all yeah all I appreciate that
Starting point is 01:36:11 thank you for the call all right listen thank you all I feel like we and our listeners we're all very like-minded in a situation what is that song
Starting point is 01:36:19 lunchbox loves too to and boot it oh yeah whatever okay that's the deal appreciate that and by the way that's the mailback
Starting point is 01:36:26 close And that was Bobby's mailback. Yeah. Do you see that paramedic that they're saying cut off the diamond ring of a dead patient's finger? No. And then took it to a pawn shop? No. Crazy, huh?
Starting point is 01:36:43 I just wonder if this paramedic thought they wouldn't be caught. Probably. I mean, but I understand. By the way, if I can roll into the last story, I could understand the feeling of I'd like to have that ring. It costs $8,000. He's super desperate or she? It's a girl. What?
Starting point is 01:36:58 What? Do you do you do? To me or sleazy your ones. Okay. Don't be sexist. I know. So she must be really desperate right now. Lisa Darling Glaze of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Starting point is 01:37:10 Shout out. Shout out hometown. Spa City is accused of cutting a dead patient's ring and selling it to a pawn shop. Gloria Robinson was pronounced dead at the C.H.I. St. Midson Hot Springs Medical Center, October 16th. Robinson's family were given a purpose. personal items, but noticed three of her rings were missing. Glaze apparently sold the ring at a local pawn shop for
Starting point is 01:37:33 $45. No way. That pawn shop got her too, because you know they saw the ring, and they were like, this is a good one. They got her real good. They're like, we'll give you 50 bucks. That's crazy that they don't... And that she did... That's just not. Robinson's family confirmed the ring was hers, and she goes to court November 26, so 11 days from now.
Starting point is 01:37:52 That's terrible. But it says cutting an $8,000 diamond ring off a dead patient's finger and selling it. For $45. She probably didn't know how much it was worth. This pawn shop got her. Well, but I mean, she's, what did you say? She's a paramedic? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:05 She's got me a little bit more than that. I mean, even a cubic zirconia can maybe sell for more than that. I could go into a little dance, get $45. Right? What in the world? I know. There was a judge ruling a Kentucky man can get a license plate that reads, I'm God, I am GOD.
Starting point is 01:38:24 So, you know, those novelty plates, you can make them say pretty much whatever, which this was the ruling, you know, could he get it? And then finally the judge says, yeah, federal court said that the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet was wrong to rule a man couldn't have the license plate. I-M-space G-O-D. A retired postal worker, he applied for the plate in 2016, was denied, saying the plate qualified as government speech, so it did not have free speech protections. So they're like, okay, let's check it out. They went back, reviewed it. They say you can have it. That being said, if you could have any plate that you wanted, what would it say?
Starting point is 01:39:02 Amy. Veg life. V-E-G-L-F-E? No, I would go V-E-G-L-Y-F. Can you only have six? Yeah, six is it? So V-E-G-L-Y-F. Yeah, because I feel like to me, too, every time I went to my car, I'd be a reminder that I
Starting point is 01:39:22 need to eat my vegetables. Okay. Lunchbox? I would have, I got a couple, BBS MVP or L box number one. Okay. That's fitting. Eddie? I might have to go, Daddy. Excuse me. Daddy. D-A-D-D-Y. Just all of it. Daddy. You need one more letter. I don't necessarily, okay, Daddy one. Oh, Daddy four because I have four kids right now. There you go. Interesting. Mine would be I am B-L-L-N. D. I'm blind, but you're driving. Everyone's days away from me. I can't see.
Starting point is 01:39:59 My right eye doesn't work at all. I wear big glasses. This is funny. And it would say, I am, B, L, and D. I'm blind. That's all mine would say. I really wanted something to say four, like the number four, and then Eva, like EVA, but then you only have two characters before the four. And I just couldn't find out anything that would fit in there.
Starting point is 01:40:18 But something for E-L-E-V-A. I want that. I did see another story. to bring up where a woman was on a flight. And Eddie and our fly into Vegas today made me think about this. And so the person behind them had their feet up on the... Oh, I saw this.
Starting point is 01:40:32 Yeah. Like, what's wrong with people? Where they think they can just put their feet all in public places on things. And especially things near other people's heads and faces. So, this was the whole story. A woman took to social media because she took a picture of the passenger with their feet
Starting point is 01:40:48 hanging over her headrest. She documented the experience, posted it on read it. She said, going to be a long flight. And the person's feet were hanging over her head. It's just not even the grossness of it, which it is gross, but it's people not respecting
Starting point is 01:41:03 just the decent human rights of you're in a close proximity, don't put your smelly gross things on other people. Yeah. And there they are. They're above her head. It's just their, they're bare feet. Disgusting. Even if you don't think it's disgusting, you shouldn't have your personal items on somebody
Starting point is 01:41:20 else's. Like you shouldn't put your hands up either. Even if you like feet. Right, right. There's just no part of your body that should be over that. I hit Morgan number two because we're all going to Vegas to the raging idiot show tonight. And I was like, hey, Morgan number two, do you like to sit in the middle seat? Because we fly southwest and you can sit wherever you want. And she was like, I do not. And I was like, ah, crap. Because she's small. She's five foot tall.
Starting point is 01:41:41 Yeah. I like to have that tiny person next to me. And I guess you get plane sick. Yeah, I get really sick if I don't sit by a window seat. Does $20 help that nausea, though? I don't think so You can buy me a Sprite maybe that'll help That's cheaper great
Starting point is 01:41:56 They're free Free on the plane Yeah We got a long flight You guys should come out tonight If you're in Vegas It's a Bobby Bones show We're gonna go back to 2009
Starting point is 01:42:07 Before we wrap it up And do a little flashback Friday Flashback Friday On this day in 2009 The biggest country song was Need You Now from Lady Annabella A little later this year this song becomes the biggest pop song too.
Starting point is 01:42:29 But at this point in 2009, this was the biggest country song. 2009, where were you? I was in North Carolina doing the show with you, but you were in Austin. And we were playing this. Yeah, I was in Austin. I was telling my bosses, we've got to keep Amy on the show. Builder a studio in North Carolina. Talk to him just like that.
Starting point is 01:42:50 Yeah. Do it. Do it. The biggest pop song was Al City Fireflies. and nights But I don't know The lines named dogs Is they tried to teach me And then I'm pretty sure
