Starting point is 00:02:58 Hey, Justin, what's going on with you? Not much. Morning, studio. Morning. So, we're podcast listeners down in Houston. Been with y'all since 2004-ish. But my 11-year-old is asking for one of your books for his birthday. And I don't know which one is the best one to get for him.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Well, there are two different kinds of books. One is bare bones that I kind of wrote about my life and the struggles and the beauty of the struggles and what I learned and what we can all learn. It's very personal. The second one is kind of my, it's very personal stories too, but it's my idea of how to have success and what you would like to have success in without having a crazy amount of talent or being given anything. And that one's called fail until you don't. Now, for straight entertainment purposes, I think the answer is bare bones. but there's one small section in there that's only a few pages where I share a really humiliating story that happened to me when I first started to experience the flesh of a woman. And I would just get that and cut that part out. Other than that, it should be fine. It should be, yeah, it'd be great, probably. The weird thing, too, I wrote like the A word a couple times.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I haven't cursed in, I don't think I've said a single curse word in three or four years. You were probably cursing then, though. But I didn't write back, but I just would see it. And I'd be like, ooh, that feels weird now. But still, I would say probably bare bones and cut out that one couple of pages. Amy, your thoughts? I agree. So that's it.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Bobby can, we can probably track down the page numbers. And then that way you can just, that way you don't even make it a thing with him. Just take them out. He might be like, well, what the heck happened to like pages 32 through 36? I don't know, son. God, that Bobby's weird. Blame it on Bobby. So that, I think, is probably, yeah, the best for an 11-year-old.
Starting point is 00:05:00 And then after he reads that, maybe once he's 12 or 13 and starts looking at what he wants to do with his life, fail until you don't would be a good follow-up. Which reminds me, Eddie, I think it's time for you to read that book finally. Oh, my goodness. You did Matthew McCona-Hays. You're right. You're right, because I've only read bare bones. So I'm down to read it.
Starting point is 00:05:17 I have a copy here. I'll give it to you. Great. Will you sign it for me? No. Or you gave it away last time. That ship has sailed? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Could he do audio? Does it count? What do you mean? No, no, no, I'll read it. I like to read. I feel like when I read, I feel a little bit more smarter now. A little bit more smarter. As you can see, it's really worth.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Guys, I've only read six books in my lives. It's really paying off right now. I'm not book shaming you at all. I'm just saying for you to go, I feel a little bit more smarter. Is that not grammatically correct? Sometimes you can have the physical copy and the audio copy. I'm doing that with my daughter right now because she's trying to get more smarter. Get more smarter.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Right. And so sometimes it's good for her to hear it and read it. Right now we're listening to Malala, the girl that stood for education and was shot by the Taliban. That's a very specific book. It has to be that title. And I know. I thought, gosh, well, this is some content for seventh grade. But, I mean, it's a true story.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Yeah, seventh grade, you need to start to be spoke to that stuff. Right. Yeah. You want to get a kid's attention fast. Tell them that somebody got shot. Man, if I say that in my house, everyone's like, what? What happened? Who was it?
Starting point is 00:06:19 Like John Lennon, they love John Lennon of the Beatles. Why? Because he got shot. But he also died when he got shot. Correct. But what if you're like 50 cent, you got shot 11 times and you didn't die? I think when you say 50 cent got shot, they'll stop and then you tell them and they're, oh, okay. Or Malala. They want them to die?
Starting point is 00:06:33 It's weird, man. Like, they love a story of someone got shot because it's so like, I can't believe it. Like, what? Let me mention this. Talk to Chuck. There's a new episode of Talk to Chuck with Chuck Wicks. He is very curious about what his wife's breast milk tastes like. Breast milk tastes like, so he tries it on the show.
Starting point is 00:06:50 You can hear that. And he talks about how he once opened for a. country music icon and what that was like. Talk to Chuck with Chuck Wicks out today, right? Yep. Is your new four things out today? It is. Okay. And? Yeah. It's a, it's just me. I don't have any guess. I don't try breast milk. But just some ways to get rest, like a little survey of are you rested? I talk about how to do a vision board because I'd never done one before and like what materials you need and kind of the step, like how to make it a fun night, whether it's just you were with friends and like some new year stuff i think i'd like to say two things what thing number one
Starting point is 00:07:29 katelyn last night the night before she was like hey i'm gonna do amy's podcast i'm gonna do all four things is that okay i was like you have to ask me do whatever you want are you kidding i told her i was like you got to bobby that's why she at yeah because she said hey i want to i think she's like i have some things i don't even think she asked i think she just told me and waited for response okay well she told me i did not ask her she said she had some things she'd like to say and she thinks my podcast would be the place to do it. And then I said, well, I mean, okay, I'm happy to have you on, but you got us Bobby. Because you might want, I know that, well, it's just a, she is her own person and she gets bullied so bad on the internet. Right. On
Starting point is 00:08:08 Instagram, I mean, it's so bad. The mean, hateful things people say to her. And I know you're protective of her. Wishing her to die. Yeah. Wishing. That's crazy. It's making fun of everything about her body. It is relentless. I've never seen anything like it. Like I get a lot of hate, but it's because I have chosen to put myself in the spotlight and go, hey, do you like this? Do you not? Oh, you don't. Okay, that's me.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I did that. She has really just existed. That's it. And she gets, it's so bad what happens to her online. And she's been a champ. It's been tough for her at times. But I was like, great. I think that's probably what she wants to talk about a little bit.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Is that what it's like? And some mental health stuff and just, I said, great. I'll wait. to hear her because yes the more she would she if she's okay with putting herself out there that's great but the more i just wanted her to make sure she talked to you about it not necessarily for your like permission i know she's her own person she don't need any permission from me i know but strong girl but for me i wanted her to run it by you first before i'm like hey when you're like amy you got a new four things today and i'm like yeah actually it's katelyn all four things so
Starting point is 00:09:17 you're like what's check out four things with amy brown before we leave i always say this And I don't want you commenting. Okay, Amy? Because I don't want... Oh! What are you going to say? What? No, no, actually, I don't...
Starting point is 00:09:31 No. No, I can't even react. I can't... Don't react. That's my point. Yeah, I'm not gonna react. I did something without no... I had no idea.
Starting point is 00:09:38 That I did something. I was asked to do something. And I was like, okay. And they were like, hey, we think it would be good for you to do this. And I said, no problem. Had to move it a couple times because it's like, my schedule, I'm moving around a little bit. And then finally they said, okay, what about this time?
Starting point is 00:09:57 I said, sure, let's do it. Pull up my laptop, do it. I'm not giving too many details here. Okay. Well, then, Caitlin goes, uh, Amy has a big problem with that. No, no, no, stop. What?
Starting point is 00:10:11 No. Maybe she didn't say it like that. Maybe she said Amy doesn't like that. Wait, can I, can I, can't be. Can I freely speak now? Yeah, go ahead. No, no, the way it came up to me, well, first of all, I think you were approached about this month.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And you decided you were going to do it because why not? Why wouldn't you? Right? Makes sense. I somehow, it's randomly came up, random. And then she said, oh, and then she told me the story. You went to her and said, hey, I just did this or I'm going to do this. And she was like, uh, no, you shouldn't. But I didn't know you had a beef. I know. There's no beef, but I didn't know she had a beef. What are you guys talking about? It's Amy Beef. No, no, it's not a beef. But she, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I didn't know that she felt the same way because we've never discussed this. Not for the same reason. Yeah, different. Were you on a dirty mag? What happens?
Starting point is 00:11:01 Some similar reasons. But then we also have this other mutual friend and I kind of casually brought it up and it was hilarious because her response was the exact same thing. What? I did something I had no problem with. Right. And you shouldn't. And I didn't know there was a beef. The end. But just so you know, I'm very sorry about that. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:11:21 No, no. It's fine. Like I don't. I felt like Kaelan felt the same way way before she ever and talked to me so she tried to tell you No she didn't know a reason though Okay
Starting point is 00:11:31 She had her personal reasons But I was like I don't really feel like that affects me True And so my personal reason When affect you Except for this other little thing That I know that you would be like
Starting point is 00:11:41 Oh heck no Well I didn't know any of that Anyway I did something disappointed Amy I hate doing something to disappoints Amy I'm very sorry I humbly Ask for your graciousness No stop
Starting point is 00:11:52 Granted. Does anyone know what it is? Are we ever going to find out what this is? No, no. I think it would just create so much drama. That's great, right? Isn't that what we want? We will never, ever, ever discuss this.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Maybe in a couple years. No. This is not, don't house paint story me with this. We're not talking about it ever. No. Stop doing eyebrows at Eddie. Yeah, I want to know. It's Amy's first real beef.
Starting point is 00:12:17 No, it's not. It's not. You have a beef with someone. I don't. All right. The end. Dang, I want to know so bad. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Like my eyebrows. No. Bobby's like, okay, October 2022, Amy's going to reveal. Put that in the calendar. Ray makes a movie trailer. Amy's beef. It's what's for dinner. But I did something at this point in Amy, and I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:12:39 I didn't know. I'm sorry about that. It doesn't, I'm not disappointed at all. That's it. Bye. Tomorrow show, Blake Shelton, Dan and Jay. Monday show, Jake Owen. Tuesday show.

Starting point is 00:16:19 of American Military University. That's AMU. . APUS. Dot E-DU slash military. What's happening, guys? Morning studio. Morning. Here's a voicemail we got last night.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Hey, Bobby, just needs some advice. I'm a truck driver. I'm on the road Monday through Saturday with a couple overnight thrown in there, so I'm almost never home. But my roommates have been working from home. And because of that, I feel like I should pay a very small portion
Starting point is 00:16:59 of the utility bill. Again, I'm never home. I never have to really use anything. I take showers out on the road and never used any electricity, but they're using all that stuff all day. So I'm just curious what you think. Thanks. Bye.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Bad news, but I don't think you can pay different unless you've had that agreed to beforehand and unless you can somehow quantify exactly what you're using and how that translates into a bill. Because unless there's a rule, you all join to be roommates, you're splitting the bill, the end. Now, food's a different thing because you can actually buy it and see it and how much you bought it. But as far as bills go, I'm sorry to say you can't. And this is also a slippery slope because what if you're home for a month?
Starting point is 00:17:44 Like, hey, you need to raise it back up based on, you just have to pay a third of the utilities for the three of you. Yeah, it may eventually balance itself out because there are times your home more than others. But while I do think you shouldn't get your hopes up about it because I think I agree with Bobby, it could be something you present to them and see what they say. You might be like, you know what? We can pro-rate the electric bill, but that's it. And great if they do. Or is that the right word, pro-rate? I don't know. But don't expect that to be allowed. I wouldn't think that would be an acceptable thing to do.
Starting point is 00:18:14 But his roommates might be on board. You never know. It's worth asking, but don't get offended if they say no. And if they don't, just keep your lights on the whole time you're gone and running water the whole time. All right, here is Caitlin from St. Louis. Morning studio. But noticing that Eddie has this new thing. he's doing he's doing this surfer woo all the time. Just wanted
Starting point is 00:18:36 to know what the deal was with that. Love you guys. Big fan. First time caller. Thank you. I don't know. Is he trying to get something like Ray? Yeah, he's trying to be Ray. Yeah, that's what I thought. Trying to be Ray? Yeah. Do your thing. Let me hear it again. I don't know what she's talking about. Woo! I do. That's it. You're like, it's like a Rick Flare. Whatever that guy is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:54 But I think. Ray didn't invent having a I know he didn't, but but callers call in and they do yeah and it's funny and it's cute and I think Eddie's like well I need to create like a signature sound so that So you think I'm smart enough to go Ray does get a lot of traction with
Starting point is 00:19:11 Yeah So I'm gonna come up my own Are you saying you're not? That's not No Instead of yeah I just something has nothing to do with Ray Okay I got one then
Starting point is 00:19:22 Maybe We don't have I didn't notice I just do it randomly What's in your heart me Thank you I think it's like when we win or something.
Starting point is 00:19:30 I'm like, woo! I don't know. Okay. Cool. Dang, hater. Oh, no, not a hater. She brought it up.
Starting point is 00:19:35 You thought that it was like planned. If I was a hater, I would have brought it up myself. Oh. I got a couple stories I want to share. A wedding guest divides opinion by claiming couples who have already set up their home together should not expect wedding gifts if they already have a lot of nice stuff. Okay. An American?
Starting point is 00:19:53 Here we go. A woman. What are you guys making a name? I just remind me someone. What? But I think that we don't need anything. Right. But I don't, let me read you the story. This is not about me, by the way.
Starting point is 00:20:07 A woman who was given a wedding registry filled with expensive gift suggestions has sparked a debate about giving presents to financially stable newlyweds. They said the American woman explained she's been invited to the wedding of a friend who she hasn't spoken to in 15 years and each item on the registry is over a couple hundred bucks. She said the couple already has a home full of nice things and shouldn't explain. expect gifts because people traveling to attend their ceremony is enough of a present. But it does bring up the question, should you put up a registry if you can afford the stuff on the registry?
Starting point is 00:20:43 I still say yes, you can. Yes. No one has to buy you. They don't have to buy you anything. We're all doing this based on tradition. So yes, just do it. If you don't want to get her something, which, by the way, who invites somebody they haven't talked to in 15 years?
Starting point is 00:20:54 I wonder if we, if I am. That you haven't talked to? Maybe you haven't seen them in a while. But you've talked to him more than that. I would assume... Well, she just said. She hadn't. Yeah, no, no.
Starting point is 00:21:05 I'm talking about me, though, with our wedding list. I would assume... If it is, it's got to be a... But they're like a youth director from church or a past... Maybe. Or something like that. Somebody that really influenced you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:15 But I would think I have. But I think this woman's wrong about being upset about this. If she wants to put a registry, no one is saying you can't get it into the wedding without a registry gift. You don't have to get her anything. She won't notice, really, if you don't get her anything. Now, is it tax? We always do is it tacky or not.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Of course. If Jason Aldine put up a wedding registry asking him for a bunch of towels from Target, we would go, what? We'd go, that's kind of weird. Get out of here, Jason. He's worth a hundred million dollars. But we would still get him for him, because who cares? If that's what he puts up there, that's what he wants.
Starting point is 00:21:46 I would not buy him towels. I would. Okay. I'd love it. You just wouldn't get him anything? Nah. You don't need anything. And that's you're right.
Starting point is 00:21:52 So he's not supposed to get birthday presents either? Right. That's crazy. And that's you're right. The point of getting married is get gifts. Right. I think it's fine. Let's be real.
Starting point is 00:22:03 A groom's sister criticizes the bride for wearing a dress that doesn't hide her scar. It's so bizarre. A lot of this is bizarre. Amy's going to check in with me about my wedding in a second
Starting point is 00:22:13 to talk about the wedding timeline. But a frustrated groom to be says he was horrified when his sister criticized his fiance for planning to wear a dress that would show a scar on her collarbone. Now it appears the groom's family is taking the sister's side
Starting point is 00:22:26 after she was uninvited from the wedding. There was just a lot of things. happening here? First of all, why would you criticize what someone wants to wear at a wedding? If it's just showing a scar. If it's showing like a boob, probably you say not the thing. Exactly. Like if it's sheer and there's a little nipple. You don't have to be ashamed of your scars. I have one that runs from my sternum down to like my pelvic bone. Will we be seen that? And if you wanted to wear a crop top with your tucks, we would tell you not to do that. But I wouldn't be ashamed of the scar. I wouldn't be the scar that made you guys say no. You would
Starting point is 00:22:55 be, that's a ridiculous thing to wear. Right. Hers is on her collarbone and a lot of would show that and she's that's something that's her scar it's part of her story secondly they shouldn't un-invite the sister for saying this either because it's like all right you're being childish i'm going to be childish to meet you and there's just a lot of going wrong here don't shame people for their scars or what they want to wear if it happens to show a scar and then don't have don't disinvite the sister that's also bad news so there you go there's a lot of stuff there to start the show all right what do you have over there i have from the knot.com which as the wedding website, a list of things to see if you and Caitlin are on track with your wedding.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Wedding. These are big items that you should have crossed off your list already. Well, we just had to delay it by a couple of months. So now you have some time. Because we don't want to be in that weird area of can we all get vaccinated in time. So we're still getting married this summer. But okay, go ahead. So have you picked a venue?
Starting point is 00:23:52 Yes. Photographer. Yes. Videoographer. Yes. Cater. Now you get into things that maybe she has. that I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Well, this one is on your list, DJ. Oh, have you? I haven't called Kramer yet. I sent him a couple of Facebook messages. And then I told him we moved it. We've talked about it on the air like hundreds of times. But I'm going to go yes on that. Band.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Well, Ray's trying to get his buddy Eric Dodd to be the band. So no. Flowers? Mm-mm. Oh, an officiant. Oh, yeah, we got that. Oh, nice. Save the dates.
Starting point is 00:24:28 We're not doing those. You're not? You're not sending out a save the date? We're just going to send an invitation with the date on it. That's fine. Yeah. Okay. So have you ordered your invitations?
Starting point is 00:24:36 We don't have everybody's address yet. I heard from a bird that this is, have we talked about this? How you went? Feel free. Okay. I don't know. Risky. So, no, it's nothing bad.
Starting point is 00:24:50 It's just funny. It's the difference between guys and girls. It's not really a you thing, Bobby. It's a universally guy thing. Go ahead. So, like, obviously, when you address an invitation, to a couple, you want to say Mr. and Mrs. Amy and Ben Brown or whatever, right?
Starting point is 00:25:06 But Bobby, some people he works with, he knows the mister or, but he doesn't know the wife's name. So he's like, just do, just address it to Mr. So and so plus one. And it's like somebody's wife of 20 years or more. Totally hurt their feelings. And it's like, just do plus one. No big deal. Instead of finding out. Well, it's an awkward question.
Starting point is 00:25:29 It is an awkward question. If you're like, hey, I know you pretty well, but what the heck's your wife's name again? Oh, I know. I mean, but a quick Google search might. On some people that works. Yeah, I guess. If they have a bit of notoriety. But if not.
Starting point is 00:25:43 I know, I guess you've just got to like ask around. Listen, I go to their Instagram, see if there are any pictures, if they're tag. You stalk them. And then sometimes I'll go to that, like, the wife. And they have like a nickname up. It's just a whole thing. Bones, careful with, like, stalking them. You might get the wrong girl.
Starting point is 00:25:59 What? the wrong name. You try to find the wife's name through like Instagram. It's something else, someone else they tag. That's trouble. I'm not worried about that. What else? Chosen the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Yes. Finalize the guest list. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Now that you've pushed it, does that change things? No. We planned to have the same amount of people.
Starting point is 00:26:22 We pushed it so we could have the same amount of people because where we were we weren't going to be able to. Okay. Register for gifts. I don't think we're going to do that. Nice. At all? Well, I told you, I feel guilty because I feel like I'm taking something from her.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Right. Yeah, I don't know. Should I? It doesn't, that's between you and Caitlin? I think it's sweet that you're saying, hey, make a donation in our lieu of gifts. Like, I think that's a route to go. But yeah, there is something about that part of an experience. But y'all are, you're, and then I think it's different for you because you're the guy also, you're older.
Starting point is 00:26:55 And you're kind of like, we can just, you know, we can buy things and people don't need to spend money on us. You're weird with gifts anyway. like people buying me anything anyway. Right, but remember, gifts are a love language. No, we haven't set that up yet. That's why I was hesitant to say that. What? Um, okay, so let's see, planned your honeymoon. No. No, but it would be the summer. Do you have an idea where you want to go? She just wants to go to a beach. Yeah. So, uh, so, or Alabama? I don't, I don't. I don't, I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't know where we can travel.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Because of COVID, I don't know where we can travel. Two more things. Go ahead. Book to rehearsal dinner? Um, yeah. Yes, no, we are. Wait, and do you, okay.
Starting point is 00:27:41 I don't, we, and I have picked the theme. There's a theme to the rehearsal dinner? What is that for the themes? Oh my goodness. All right. I don't know what she, because some of the stuff she's still, um, is still precious to her to just keep for us until afterwards. Sure.
Starting point is 00:27:56 I'm going to write down what the theme is. Okay. Hold on. I wonder if I can, let me call her. But we won't say. But yeah, we won't say anything. No, no, I want to call her because if I can say, I would like to say. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Let me call her right here. I'll get permission. I'm on my cell phone. Getting permission from his girl. Yeah, duh. 70% like this. Smart man. Can you just hear that?
Starting point is 00:28:17 Yeah. See if she answers. Hey, can I, because we're talking about what I can, talk about the wedding. Can I mention the rehearsal dinner what the theme is? I can't mention the theme? No, because we don't know yet. Okay. He knows. Apparently, Bobby knows.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Okay. Okay. Well, Bobby, just let us see this. Okay. This theme that's on the table. Apparently, I don't know the theme yet, so, huh? So what are you about to show us? She thinks we can't do the theme.
Starting point is 00:28:45 I think everything is possible. My question is, why is there need to be a themed rehearsal dinner? Thank you. Like, I just not say it yet. But if it is, we're going to figure out somewhere else to do it because we can't bring in, Hey, bales and stuff. Well, you're saying the theme. Nice.
Starting point is 00:29:04 You're already saying the theme. That is, all that tells us is maybe you're thinking. We're all going to be horses. Right. Wait, hey. Eddie, that might be better. Can I tell, can I tell them the possible theme? Can you tell the people in the room or can you tell the radio?
Starting point is 00:29:20 The radio. Oh, no, but you can tell the people in the room. Okay. Thank you. Love you. Bye. Bye. Kisses.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Okay, show us. Show us. Okay. He's writing it down. What? Oh, my goodness. I don't even get that. Why?
Starting point is 00:29:38 Why not? I can't do that. If your answer is why not, I need better than what. Because it's amazing. If I say why not, and you say why not. Because it would be the most fun. Bones, I'm going to look so stupid. But she says we can't have hay bells in the house.
Starting point is 00:29:53 It's. Oh, do you see? Yeah, I don't know. Maybe. I don't know. I'll look. Okay, so. Hey bills in the house is ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Oh, barn. This is so dumb. I mean, it could be fine. Go ahead. Lastly, have you booked wedding night accommodations? No. We haven't. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:16 What's our I'll mean? I don't know. Something hurt to you? In your mind, are we ready for the wedding? In my mind, yes. Y'all are doing well. I feel like you've checked a lot of these things off. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:30:28 A plus. Good for you. Expect nothing less. Passing grade. There we go. All right. Walk me through your night last night, Eddie. All right. So we all know this song.
Starting point is 00:30:36 We've heard it hundreds of times. Carrying Your Love with Me by George Strait. Here's a clip. I'm carrying your love. West Virginia down to Tennessee. So you got annoyed listening to this song? Yep. And again, dude, I've listened to this so many times.
Starting point is 00:30:51 But last night I heard it. And I was like, this is dumb. Oh. This song may be the dumbest song ever because of one line. Wow. And the songwriter in me is just like, okay, this guy, I'm breaking it down. Okay, you're a challenge, the songwriter in you is challenging carrying your love with me? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Oh my. This smash hit, right, who everyone loves. And I'm thinking, okay, let me get myself in the character of this guy. He's a traveler, right? But everywhere he goes, he carries his love, whoever, his wife, his lover. He carries that with him everywhere he goes. So he gives an example. West Virginia down to Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Okay. Okay. West Virginia down to Tennessee. That's a great. Okay, cool. I googled it, guys. That is only eight and a half hours away from each other. That's nothing.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Why not? If you're proving to her that you can carry your love everywhere you go, how about Alaska down to Tennessee? Guys, I googled that. That's 67 hours. That still doesn't sound as good as West Virginia. Okay, fine. California down to Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:31:57 You wouldn't go down. California would be like a cross. Okay, northern California down to Tennessee. Bones, I knew that when I brought this up, you're going to agree with me. I think it's probably just an example of the places he goes where he carries their love. But he's traveling for work, and so he lives in West Virginia. He has to go to Tennessee a lot, and so that's what he was saying. Okay, you could Bangkok down to Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Oh, wow, you're going international. Let's go across the whole world, guys, to prove to her that anywhere I go, it can be the other side of the world. I carry your love with me. West Virginia, great, dude. I can walk to West Virginia. No, you can't. Is that a challenge? No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Do it, do it, do it, do it. Bound out of Eddie. The mountains are in the way. Man, this just really does not bother me one bit. Really? What bones you just said? It doesn't bother me. I mean, I understand.
Starting point is 00:32:48 You could have sang California. Anything. From California on to Tennessee. Oregon to Tennessee. Anything. He picks a neighboring state? Again, they probably were just picking a state. Guys, rethink that.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Okay. It was probably too late, though, after they caught it. It's probably released and everything, but it drives me nuts, dude. There you go. That is what annoyed Eddie last night. Wow. I don't know. That's a lot.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I mean, that's just like a lot to pick out and break down and then let it actually bother you. What were you listening to last night? My I heart 90s playlist, throwback. That is a good one, huh? I love it, dude. I love it. We listen to it all the time. And my kids even have I heart kids?
Starting point is 00:33:28 They listen to it. They don't even know this long. They were like, check out this Chattahoochee one day. I'm like talking to me about Chattahoochee. They have I heart kids. Yes. But I heart kids country or just I heart? I heart kids and then you can pick the genre in it.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Oh, so is it kids singing Chattahoochee? No, it's not like kids. Oh, no, no. They just censor it to where there's nothing bad at it. Oh, gotcha. What music do you push onto your kids from you? Well, most recently I've been pushing John Mayer and they want nothing to do with it really. And I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Stop the car and put them out. Yeah. Right. It's been, because I've been on repeat lately. And there's no interest. Like, it sounds so old. I mean, it is an album from 2001. But still.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Was it a continuum? Room for squares. Okay. So good. Yeah, it's the first one. The first major label one. Ground them. What do you do with your kids?
Starting point is 00:34:16 Well, right now, like I said, we're a 90s country for sure. Chattahoochee, they just learned about neon moon, boot scoot and boogie. They love it. But, dude, back in the day, I mean, I started with Bob Dylan. Hated it. Elvis, get out of here, Dad. We hate it. Beatles?
Starting point is 00:34:29 Eh, too old. I think they're liking 90s country, though. Not just, I don't have kids. So the closest thing I can do is talking about my relationship, where Caitlin knows every 90s country song, like massive 90s country fan. She came that way, though. Not because of you. Yes, not because of me, but her growing up in Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:34:44 But what I try to push on her is 90s alternative. And so, I was playing Stone Temple Pilots in the house the other day. And she was like, what is this? And I was like, Stone Temple Pilots. She was like, sounds like somebody's uncle singing. And I was like, what? She was like, this is not good. Did you consider, like, calling everything off?
Starting point is 00:35:04 Guys, I've broken up with, like, two girlfriends when, like, they said I didn't like Pearl. They didn't like Pearl Jam. I was like, I can't do it. I can't do it. And she's okay on John Mayer. She likes John Mayer. I love John Mayer. She loves all the Gar.
Starting point is 00:35:17 I don't have to worry about the country stuff. The Gar, the, she's in 100%. Probably knows more words than I do. She doesn't like this. No, she didn't. She never heard it. I'm going to do a game with her to go. I'm going to hold up a picture or a name and have.
Starting point is 00:35:31 have her say if it's a 90s band or something I made up. That's funny. 90s rock band. Because... Yeah, she wouldn't know. How do you not like Stone Temple Pilots? Come on. Where you go?
Starting point is 00:35:44 Yeah. You like it, don't you? I like it, but I'm not going to like listen to it. She was like singing another one. So I did Interstate Love song. I was like, I just did the guitar solo in my mouth. Maybe it's just Stone Temple Pilots. Give her some of the better than Ezra.
Starting point is 00:35:59 See what she thinks about that. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Marin Morris and J.P. Sacks released their collaboration called Line by Line. Garth Brooks was chosen as one of the artists to receive the 2021 Kennedy Center Honors. The ceremony airs June 6th on CBS. Brett Young is turning 40 years old on March 23rd, and he wants to be in the best shape of his life as he approaches the big birthday.
Starting point is 00:36:52 So he's inviting fans to do the B.Y.40, a 10-week fitness challenge with him and celebrity trainer, Don Saladino. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Say out of something good. Philip Ingram is a janitor at a California hospital and he came up with an idea when he was
Starting point is 00:37:14 walking and cleaning. He'd find pennies on the ground. And he was like, man, if a million people would donate a penny, we could give a lot. lot to charity. So he started powerful pennies. And he asked everybody, hey, if you have spare change at the end of the week, leave it in this bucket and we'll donate to the boys and girls club. First week,
Starting point is 00:37:30 $1,400 in loose change was donated to the bucket. And so now they have a program on your paycheck with all the employees. You can leave 50 cents or up to $5 off your paycheck, and it all goes to the Boys and Girls Club. And that's all because Penny Man over at the hospital.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Lunchbox also collects change. He picks up pennies. everywhere he sees them. What was your total for all of 2020? Man, it was only like $14 and $9. What do you mean only? That's $14 you didn't have. No, no, it was. And it's a little depressing because the year before 2019 was $38. So I had a big drop, but you got to understand, COVID year, I wasn't going very many places. There was a coin shortage in America.
Starting point is 00:38:12 But it looks, it pays to look on the ground. If you're walking around and you look down, you're going to find money. Last night, I walked the dog. I found 11 cents. Boom, payday. And also, too, like back in the day, people just left pennies, you know, like, oh, penny fell in my pocket, no big deal. I found a quarter the other day. I'm like, who loses a quarter just leaves it there?
Starting point is 00:38:30 Exactly, Eddie, it's unbelievable. I thought I would never find a quarter, and you find quarters all the time. Like, I don't need a quarter. You crazy. Crazy. That's a great story lunchbox. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Lobby Bone Show. Story of the day. This story comes us from Albuquerque, New Mexico. A man went through the drive-thru at McDonald's order something and he pulled out and he's like, man, my order is wrong. So he pulled back around and said, hey, you gave me the wrong order. Then he pulled out a gun and said, you need to fix it. Oh. They called police.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Police arrived. He took off high-speed chase, helicopter involved, all because he got two hamburgers instead of two cheeseburgers. And when the helicopter is following you, you know you're done. Mm-hmm. It's like a gun versus a knife. Or do you even think that the helicopter's for you? Absolutely. As soon as you hear it, you know it's for you.
Starting point is 00:39:20 right? I don't know. Oh, you mean for a while? You just think it's a random helicopter? Okay, great. Somebody got hurt in a car accident. Oh, no, that's getting closer. And who pulls a gun over a bad order at McDonald's? That's where it was, right? Yep. And you go to heavy jail for that, obviously.
Starting point is 00:39:34 All right. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. Starting point is 00:43:14 Age, uh, 41. Morgan number two, the youngest on our show. Age. 27. in a game called Elder versus Millennial. So Eddie gets the young questions, Morgan gets the old questions. Let's see who pulls it out.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Zero to zero. Up first. He's a dad of four, known as the Hispanic who don't panic. He's a real riot currently on the Dallas Bayers Club diet. That's a mouthful. That's a weird idea. It is producer Eddie, everybody.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Yeah. Thank you. Okay. Are you ready, Eddie? I'm ready. Your questions that millennials would know that you may not. Number one, Lucas Scott, Brooke Davis, and Peyton Sawyer are characters from what CW show? Charmed. I was going to read it again, but you jumped out there and said, chummed.
Starting point is 00:44:08 I don't know it. You can read it 20 times. That is incorrect. Morgan, you can steal Lucas Scott, Brooke Davis, and Peyton Sawyer are characters from what CW show? That would be one tree help. Correct. Morgan with the steal. This, it's an audio clip, is the theme song to a TV show that premiered 20 years ago on the Disney Channel.
Starting point is 00:44:29 What's the name of this show? The Secret Life of Zach and Cody. Wow. That is incorrect. Morgan, you can steal this. What Disney show was this? I can picture it. I'm not sure I can steal it, though.
Starting point is 00:45:01 I think it's Lizzie McGuire. The answer is Lizzie McGuire. Dang it. She's got two. Eddie Haley Bieber. Familiar with her? Yes, of course. She's the daughter of what Baldwin brother?
Starting point is 00:45:12 Oh, crap. There's Alec, not the daughter of Alec. There's Michael. Michael Baldwin. Is that your answer? No. Stephen Baldwin. He was the crazy one.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Not his daughter. I'm going to go with Michael Baldwin. Oh, is it Alec Baldwin? No, it's Michael. What is your answer? Michael Baldwin. Is there a Michael Baldwin? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:38 He's one of the... He's one of the Baldwin brothers. Or is it William Baldwin? I have no idea. There's no Michael Baldwin. I think you mean Michael Bolton. Really? There's no Michael Baldwin?
Starting point is 00:45:50 So it's William? Morgan, would you like to steal? Haley Bieber is whose daughter? I don't, you just felt like eight names in my head. Or it's a scooter Baldwin. I thought there was like an Alec and Alex and a William. And maybe that's too many. William Baldwin?
Starting point is 00:46:07 There is a William Baldwin, but that's not it. Oh, it's not? And it's not Alec Baldwin. It's Stephen? And it's not Daniel Baldwin. It is Stephen Baldwin. Really? I didn't know that. He was a crazy one, man.
Starting point is 00:46:20 He's the one always in trouble. He's still alive, huh? Yeah. Okay, there you go. Morgan got two right. She stole two in that round. All right, let's switch it over. His opponent, she runs our digital,
Starting point is 00:46:33 coming in at five feet tall exactly. She's blonde, and she's smart. America's a millennial sweetheart. It's Morgan number two. Here we go. Adam West is primarily known for the TV show where he played what superhero. Adam West. Adam West is a superhero show.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Is known for his TV role and what TV show playing what superhero? I mean, there's Superman or Batman. There's Superman? Superman is incorrect. Eddie, Adam West. Played who? Thank you. That's Batman. That is correct. Like the 60s. Oh, a long time ago. He also is all over family guy now. He's the character on the family guy. Yeah. Okay. Eddie won. Hey Morgan, who says, be very, very quiet. I'm hunting rabbits. It's a cartoon, I think. Be very, very quiet. I'm hunting rabbits. Isn't it like a man? Is it like the, the, the, the, Speedster guy.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Roadrunner. Roadrunner. Roadrunner. Interesting. It is not roadrunner. The only thing Roadrunner says is, beep, beep. That's it?
Starting point is 00:48:06 That's pretty much it. Eddie, who says, Be very, very quiet? I'm hunting rabbits. You mean he says it like, Be very very quiet. That's Elmer Fudd. Elmer Fudd.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Be very, very quiet. I'm hunting weapons. Can I just say this? Eddie's getting questions from like the 50s and 60s. nailing them too. And he wasn't alive then. But you're doing good. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:48:31 It is two to two. It all comes down to this one. Henry Winkler played a character Arthur Fonzarelli on what TV show? You probably know this too. It's probably in black and white. It wasn't ready? She's taking shots.
Starting point is 00:48:48 I'm right here. Henry Winkler played Arthur Fonzorelli. Fonzorelli. Ellie sounds Italian. And I know I can say that word weird. Is everybody loves Raymond? Cheers. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Yum. Cheers. Her answer is cheers. That is incorrect. Eddie, you can still and have the victory here. Okay. If you know Henry Winkler who played Arthur Fonzorelli on what TV show? Bones, that would be happy days.
Starting point is 00:49:25 That is correct Also known as Defonds Hey Again before he was alive Yeah you were all before I was alive One zero you take the lead What do you want to say? Hey 2021 is already better than last year
Starting point is 00:49:43 I will take this win let's go There he is Our producer ready Our video producer ready with a big win What is your position on gender reveals Oh I'm fine with them I think they're great Me too, unless they involve fire.
Starting point is 00:49:57 I think we should just avoid gender reveals and involve fire. We've seen too many like explosions or fires catch and other than that all good. Yes. I don't know that I'll do one, but I like to watch them. Oh, I bet you do one. Maybe. Amy, honestly, and I've said this before, I know I'll love having a girl if I have a girl, but it's just going to take me a minute to go, huh.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Like you're not going to be able to fake it. I'm just scared. That's all it is. I'm just scared that I won't be able to know. I won't know what to do. So a dad did not want his wife to do a huge gender reveal for their second baby Because she did a big one for their first She made a gender reveal short film and it cost a bunch of money and he was like
Starting point is 00:50:33 She wants to do it again I don't want to do another short film she had like acting scenes in there So she was like hunt I'm gonna take some time and do this next project for our gender reveal And instead of talking to her about it he just went on Facebook was like yep I'm having a boy Posted it and let it go Brave Just jumped in front of the bus What do you think about that?
Starting point is 00:50:54 I mean, I guess he's the one that's going to have to deal with his wife if she's unhappy about that. When she found out the number two was a boy, she started writing a script. This is much. And instead of letting her run away with it, he just wrote on Facebook and a post, hey, we're having a boy. And that was the reveal. I don't know that that's the most mature way to handle it. Because, I mean, that's probably caused friction, huh? I would assume in my house it would have.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Yeah, for sure. Yeah. What is the main friction? not a bat, but like what's the main annoying thing that you do in your household that you know you should get better at but is constantly being brought up? Because I'll go first. Me on my phone all the time. Oh. We're in the middle of stuff sometimes.
Starting point is 00:51:35 I'm on my phone. I'm on my phone. And I know I'm not good at getting off my phone. And she's right. But I know that that's, she's like, hey, can you get off your phone? That's constantly a thing. Are you working on it? Nah.
Starting point is 00:51:46 No, no really. I mean, I guess, huh? You are? You put your phone down. I do. The other day we were doing something tonight. I laid my phone on the couch. Oh, good.
Starting point is 00:51:51 And then she was like, you can go and get your phone down. I got it. Then I didn't get off of it. You got permission to get your phone now. I love it. But I know I know I'm too much. That's a me thing. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:52:02 I don't know how to fix this, but when I get home, I take my clothes off. And I usually take it, I take everything off right by my bedside and it stays there. And I just, for some reason, I just, it stays there. And then sometimes it piles up for two days. And that's her stance to be like, I'm not picking this up. Do you just stay in your underwear? A shorts. I go straight from my clothes to just shorts. No shirt. No shirt. Amy, you?
Starting point is 00:52:23 Mine would be that I underestimate how long it takes me to get ready for things. Oh, that's so bad. So bad. That's the main. Drive me insane. Yeah. And you know. I mean well by it. I'm not trying to be late. I just don't always time it correctly. I have been working on it, though. I will say the other day, I had, well, two different events. I was very proud of myself recently. They were virtual, but I got ready an hour and a half before I needed to. And then I proceeded to do other things in that time.
Starting point is 00:52:54 But I felt good about just being ready. It's called feeling like an adult, being responsible. Good for you. Thank you. Lunchbox for you? I would say, the kitchen table. My wife cleans it off and she wants to have dinner there, and then I come home and I throw my wallet, my keys.
Starting point is 00:53:09 I get the mail. I throw it on the kitchen table. So the kitchen table to me is like a storage closet. Whatever you can fit on it, you put it on the kitchen table, and she gets so annoyed. and every day. Can you not put things on the table? But I do it every day.
Starting point is 00:53:21 That's funny. Lunchbox had another story I wanted to get to. What was the one about the balloon? So this little girl, you know, she sent up a balloon to Santa hoping it was going to reach the North Pole and it had like her Christmas wishes in it. And someone, it went 650 miles and someone found it.
Starting point is 00:53:38 Like it never made it to the North Pole. I guess it deflated. What you call it? What do you? It's popped. Yeah. Deflaid. And so someone found it.
Starting point is 00:53:46 and they're going to give them presents. So they got them all the presents on Facebook. They tracked them down. So I said, man, if people are really going to do this, why don't I send up a balloon? And act like your kid. Well, I don't know what, that's, Amy, that's where I'm torn. Do I act like a kid?
Starting point is 00:54:05 Or do I say I'm an adult and these are my wishes? Will you please reach out to me? What matters what wishes they are? I mean, I was thinking for beer. You can't be like, I'm Timmy, I'm 12. I want Bud Light. I was going to say ask for a boat. No.
Starting point is 00:54:20 I mean, if it gets in the right hands, you could get a boat. Like what if it lands at a boat dealership? Right. Like Bass Pro. What are the odds that it just lands right there at Bass Pro Shop in a boat? And someone touring like, whoa. Well, that would be crazy, huh? Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:54:38 So you want to send up a balloon like her. Yeah. Make a list of things. So, okay, do this. make a list of the five things you'd want to put on this. Man, okay. See, I just don't. Come up with a note and we'll put it in a balloon and we'll let it go.
Starting point is 00:54:53 I need your opinion on how big I should go. Well, I think the boat's probably the biggest thing you should do. Okay, so Lambo's right off. Yes. What if it lands in a Lamborghini dealers? Exactly. I mean, Patrick Mahomes surprised his girlfriend with a lambo. You should put on there whatever you want.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Okay. And then are we going to type this because I don't think they'll be able to read my handwriting. Just write it out. Okay. Why don't you type it on your computer? computer. Your laptop's right in front of you. That's a good idea. Okay. And we'll put it in a balloon today and we'll float it off. Okay. And so do I say, call me? How do I tell them to reach me? Oh yeah, call me. Yeah, put yourself on number in there. Yes. Oh, man, that's all. You don't want to
Starting point is 00:55:27 depend on Facebook like this story. Yeah. They may never find your Facebook. And do I need to put like a $20 bill in there so someone will see it and open it up or also it's just like, ah, it's just a dumb balloon. It's a great method. It's up to you. We'll check back in with you later. We want to hear what's on your list. And then we'll release the balloon. All good with that? Yep. This is awesome. Dude, what if it gets a boat? Oh, we're going to be so jealous. I'm sending my balloon the next day. It's like a bass tracker drives up in like three days.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Here's Amy's pile of stories. So this is cool. Netflix plans to release a new movie every single week in 2021. And the films feature like legit people. Dwayne Johnson, Melissa McCarthy, Hallie Berry. The list goes on Amy Adams, Ryan Reynolds, blah, blah, blah. That seems like where to get paid to do a movie now is Netflix. And without the box office pressure of going, all right, how do we do? Are people going to, because they don't release those numbers really. So I get it. I would do a Netflix movie. That's cool. The outside, or sorry, excuse me, outside the wire is the first one up and it's coming out Friday, the 15th. What's the best Netflix movie? Because again, there haven't been a lot that
Starting point is 00:56:36 we go, that's fantastic. The one that I can remember is the Sandra Bullock one where bird box. Oh, Burr box. Oh, that was really good. That's probably got to be it. And that was a Netflix original. Yeah. Because the Jennifer Aniston one wasn't that funny to me. Was that the murder mystery one? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:54 I liked that. Okay, the comedies. Murder Mike. Murder Mike. Movie Mike. This is your specialty. What do you think is the best Netflix movie? I mean, it's easily bird blocks.
Starting point is 00:57:04 That's the one that came out and everybody talked about, everybody watched it, and it was their most watched. The comedies they make are any of them wonderfully funny? They're funny in their own right. I think you would enjoy them for what they are, but they're not hilarious. Like, the Adam Sandler ones are enjoyable, but it's nothing great. What about, what would be number two and number three on your movies on Netflix? I would go with a movie called Extraction with Chris Hemsworth that came out last year. That'd probably be number two.
Starting point is 00:57:31 And then number three, I mean, I do kind of like the last Adam Sandler movie, Hubey Halloween. It's actually kind of funny. Lashbox, you see that one? No, I saw the, I thought he was going to say the Adam Sandler one. He's not even in it, but David Spade's in it. The wrong missy is hilarious. I thought that was really funny. Or I thought he was going to say cuties.
Starting point is 00:57:50 I know. We don't talk about cuties anymore. Yeah, stop. Remember when people were going to protest the show because Lunchbox was watching cuties? And we were like, okay, this too will go, and nobody cares anymore. What else am I?
Starting point is 00:58:00 I finally watched Hillbilly Elegie, which is a Netflix original based on, you read the book, I know. But that's a good one that I thought was really well done with Amy Adams. So if you are a Girl Scout cookie lover, but you're kind of don't want little girls come into your door.
Starting point is 00:58:15 bringing coronavirus to your house. Girl Scouts, they've teamed up with Grubhub to expand their sales channels. So now you can go to your app. Order Girl Scout cookies and they'll arrive at your door. January 22nd through March 21st is their 2021 cookie program. Your app makes a weird noise. I think I got that from lunchbox. So Carrie Underwood admitted that she's afraid of something that a lot of us think is pretty harmless
Starting point is 00:58:45 and super cute. She was on the Drew Barrymore show and admitted that she has a fear of turtles. It's not a like, you know, petrifying fear. I grew up in the country, I would catch them and I love animals so much that I feel like I would always try to pet them or hug them. And that led to them taking opportunities. I've been bitten by lots of turtles. It does not feel good. Well, if you grew up in the country, like I did, snapping turtles are no joke. No, no, no, no, serious. What did they do? I've never been bit by turtles. And they don't let go. Yeah, and they just hold on. Oh. And the tip of their nose is like,
Starting point is 00:59:20 or their teeth or whatever it is, it's like a hook. You know, dude. Yeah. Yeah, snap turtles are no joke. But again, there's nice turtles and mean, much like humans. Yes, there are. Very much so. Is there an animal that you guys just absolutely have no love for? Yeah, snake. Oh, really? Oh, my God. I would love to chop every single one of them up.
Starting point is 00:59:37 We can do with that snakes. No, snakes actually do something good for us. I don't care. They eat mice and rodents, but still, chop them up. Ah, get them out. We have pest control for that. Is it scorpion? No.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Okay, I don't like those. Okay, fair. You? Just possums. What? I think possums are so cute. Yeah, possums are disgusting. And harmless.
Starting point is 00:59:55 What? Raccoons, possums. I like raccoons. They're cute. They're getting in trash a lot, but possums are mean. Really? They do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:04 They do that. All right, is that dead, Amy? Yep, I'm Amy. That's in my file. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Something good.
Starting point is 01:00:17 So there's this woman, Kelly Thorne, and she had to have both her kidneys removed because of a kidney disease that she had. So her husband, shout out Aaron, stood outside a street corner in Hamilton, Ohio, wearing a sign that read, Need kidney for my wife to help find a donor. Well, obviously people saw him do that,
Starting point is 01:00:36 but then it started to spread on social media and the news. Their story went viral. Hundreds of people reached out to be tested to see if they were a match. And eventually, a woman in Pittsburgh was. And after a dozen tests and all the things, they're scheduled for the surgery this February.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Good for him. Good for that donor. Great for her. I was driving into town a couple days ago, and there's a billboard right outside of town. Have you guys seen it? It's like looking for a kidney. Mike, you've seen it?
Starting point is 01:01:03 Really? It's like we need a positive blood. They put up a billboard. I still can't ever remember my blood type. Me either. And I know it's, weird. Why is that something I can't remember? Literally gave blood like two days ago and then also did an antibodies test for blood with blood and still didn't remember to ask. I know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:01:23 I don't know my blood type either. All right, there you go, but that's a great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:05:15 That's right. If they win, they get to perform on the show. So we'll be doing egg challenges, basketball challenges, all that coming up here in the next 15 minutes. But let's put 90 seconds on the clock. Usually, we do the morning corny. Now we're going to do the investigative corny. We have to figure the joke out. Hit it, Ramundo.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Morning corny. Two pickles fell on the floor. What did one say to the other? Okay, go. I won't tell anyone of you to, Don't. Deal? Deal. Oh, yeah, I was gonna say deal. What's the deal? Oh, that's a good one. Lunchbox. What's the deal? Yeah. It's gotta be something. It's gotta be like falling in the file. It's probably deal. I mean, we all were on the deal tip. Yeah, but but what is the joke though? Dill. They fit so the pickles fell on the floor. What's the day? What did one say to the other? Why are we down? What's the deal with? It's got to be Dill. It's got all three of us want right to deal. It's it's cute how you say because Dill. It's, it's cute how you say because Dill, you, it's, you're, you You say deal. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:18 What? What? What? Don't try to throw us off the hunt. What's the deal? Pickle. We're all doing Seinfeld impressions. What's the deal?
Starting point is 01:06:29 What's the deal? What's the deal with the floor down here? Yeah, two pickles fell on the floor. What did one say to the other? Did you? They fell on the floor. Well, deal. Deal.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Deal with it. Deal with it. Deal. We'll deal with it. Deal or no deal. What? We'll deal with it. Deal with it.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Deal or no deal. I don't know, man. So what are you got? Dill dang it? We're still working. What's the question? Oh, my gosh. Two pickles fell on the floor.
Starting point is 01:06:59 What did one say to the other? What do you guys want to go with? We've said a lot of stuff. What's the deal? With that. I don't know, dude. I really don't. Our options are, what's the deal?
Starting point is 01:07:10 I had to deal with it or deal or no deal. Bones, is there anything else that it could be other than deal? Floor bill? Time. Then you got to do one of those. You guys can pick. Which one? No, you pick it.
Starting point is 01:07:21 What's the dill? What's the dill? If we're picking, I'm going to pick mine. Yes, pick yours. All right, I'm picking deal with it. Dill with it. Okay. Dill with it.
Starting point is 01:07:29 Here we go. The morning corny. Two pickles fell on the floor. What did one say to the other? What did one say to the other? Dill with it. Boom! Good job, Bones.
Starting point is 01:07:43 I'm like, what's the deal? Now I'm feeling an idiot. I would have worked, too. No, it wouldn't have. We would have got it wrong. It would have worked. Oh, that's good. Hey, good job, Buzz.
Starting point is 01:07:50 You ready? Oh, yeah. Clear eyes, full hearts can't lose. There you go. Got it, boys. All right, you parents in here that have kids in school, Amy, Eddie. Should kids do year-round school to catch up after the pandemic? Ooh.
Starting point is 01:08:06 Because they're behind. I don't know what year-round school looks like. I mean, oh, does that mean you get breaks every once in a while? Virginia Governor Ralph Northern Floater the idea last week. Quote, should kids start going to school year round to help them catch up after the pandemic? Here's what he had to say. One of the things that we certainly are entertaining is looking at perhaps a year-round schooling for the next year, perhaps adding increased days this summer to really help our kids get caught up.
Starting point is 01:08:32 He didn't go into detail about how likely it is. He said in the next coming weeks, they'll be providing more details. But it was just kind of afloat the idea out there. You two have parents in school right, or kids in school right now? Yep. What do you think? Two reasons I like this. One is yes, like there has been such gaps in education that weren't expected.
Starting point is 01:08:51 And of course, the virtual thing already, if you have, like for a lot of it, we were virtual. Now we're kind of back in school, but some days we go virtual. And the learning is not the same. So therefore you're already behind. So it could help catch people up. Secondly, a lot of parents are working from home. And this could help parents too. Because come summertime, if some people are still weird with their jobs there at home,
Starting point is 01:09:13 then they've got their kids at home again all day, every day, not occupying. occupied by anything, and that can be difficult. So I'm not opposed to this, as long as there's some proper break for a family to take a week vacation if they need to here and there or something. Eddie? Oh, there's one reason, one reason only that I love it. It's because they're at school all day, all year. You know, parents don't say this, but really the truth is we need that break.
Starting point is 01:09:39 And I'm so thankful for teachers. I love teachers because they put up with them for what, six hours, seven hours, seven hours. a day. I love this idea. I would vote this man for president. But teachers need a break too. Sure, but they're getting paid while they're doing it. Okay. So you both say yes. Yes. I bet you if you ask kids though. They're like, no. They would not be as on board. You're right. Yeah, but kids are going to do what they have to do and kids don't like school anyway. I mean, my daughter's really good at school and she does all her homework. She does everything she's supposed to, but she'll tell me straight up, mom, I hate school. And I'm like, why? She's like, because I'm a kid.
Starting point is 01:10:16 I'm supposed to hate school. And so I don't know if she picked that up on some TV show, but she has in her head, she's a kid, she's not supposed to like school. So they're not going to like it no matter what, but it doesn't mean they won't do it. Well, if they do it, the state does it. I like it too, but I don't have kids. It's hard for me to jump in. I like it so we can catch our kids up for late.
Starting point is 01:10:35 It's not forever, a forever thing. But if Virginia does it, you're going to see other states go, oh, that's interesting. Cool. They've developed a plan to pull this off. Yeah, because there has to be something to make up for this, weird like 10 years down the line we're going to notice oh that was a that was a 2020 kid you know he didn't learn anything that year and we can tell there's going to be something right now
Starting point is 01:10:59 seaforth is in the marathon green room now if you haven't heard of them well i've never heard them play i've only met them once but they are a duo a country music duo from australia and they have a look that's like eddie and i when we perform as our duo the raging idiots they have songs such as close enough. Talk about. And they have one that's out today, a new one called Breakups. They're going to be in. We have a slam the egg on the head challenge.
Starting point is 01:11:35 If they lose, they have to retire their glasses and hat. I love it. They have to lose their look. That way we can get our look back. And if they win, they get to perform on the show. So it's going to be the dumbest segment ever. We're also going to do a little miniature basketball game. The dumbest segment ever, but possibly a live performance coming up next with C-4th.
Starting point is 01:11:52 On the Bobby Bones Show now. C-4th. All right, these two guys are here. Good to see you guys again. Good. We're actually gambling their hat and glasses if they lose, and if they win, they get to perform on the show. And not only that, I don't know if they told you, but if you win, but if you win, you also will be our featured artists on our national countdown show. No way.
Starting point is 01:12:11 That's crazy. But that's only if you win. That's crazy. All right. So take it easy. Half excitement. They introduce yourselves. I'm Tom.
Starting point is 01:12:19 My name's Mitchell. So Tom wears the hat like Eddie wears. And we have a band called The Raging Idiots. Mitchell wears the glasses like I do. And you guys, we've obviously been your inspiration for years. And we're putting it on the line today. Come on. We're tired of them ripping us off, although they're way more talented than us,
Starting point is 01:12:36 although they're everything more than us. But they look just like us. Just like us. Which is not cool. We were getting away with it until we moved here. We should have stayed there. So what we're going to do first is we're going to go up And there are 12 eggs
Starting point is 01:12:48 11 of them are hard-boiled One of them is just a raw egg with a yolk And it's going to go all over us We'll grab an egg, smash it against our head Hopefully it's hard-boiled But the person that gets the yolk The full normal egg loses That's the loser
Starting point is 01:12:59 That's round one Are we ready? Ready? Let's walk up to the table Hey Ramondo Will you play a clip of C-4th for our audience please And tell us what song you're going to play here This is close enough
Starting point is 01:13:10 They're playing close enough right now And I can fill America and hard right now with this. There it is. Damn it. Yeah. Okay. So we're now standing at a table.
Starting point is 01:13:21 The egg number 12 is brown. That's a tricky egg. And all the other ones are white. They're all numbered. So you guys can pick, would you like us to go first? I'd love to see you guys go first. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:32 Just to stay. I'll go first. I could be down yourself. I'm going to pick number three. Oh, wow. That's brave. That's brave. Gee, that's brave.
Starting point is 01:13:44 So you're just going to... Take your glasses off. Yeah, no, no, just go. Hey! Arboil. Nice. I mean, I shouldn't be clapping. I survive again.
Starting point is 01:13:56 All right, I'll get. Glasses and glasses. All right, Mitch will go ahead. This is going to be terrible. Nine. Nine. Here we go. We have another round of a different game.
Starting point is 01:14:24 We have a little game. I'm going to get it. is going to be at. I can't believe it was a birthday. Wow. Okay, that happened fast. Wow. Incredible, dude.
Starting point is 01:14:34 He just threw his glasses across the room. I was ready to give up. All over his head. Back to Australia. Okay. All right. That's so funny, dude. Steve, everybody good?
Starting point is 01:14:45 Yeah, we're good. All right, we have now moved over to the basketball court that we have set up in the studio. This is a Fisher Price Little Tykes goal. Amy, how tall would you say that goal is? About three feet. Okay, so it's a three feet. goal we have these little small rubber balls and each team gets seven shots
Starting point is 01:15:00 okay so see fourth we'll go first you'll shoot your seven we'll see if we can beat it you can pick who shoots and how you shoot doesn't matter any order seven shots here we go shot number one in the net oh so close number one is a miss
Starting point is 01:15:16 should be just got one for one all right Mitchell you're up should be throwing the eggs shot number two is a miss air ball not even close all right All right, Tom Pressure's on
Starting point is 01:15:28 Shot number three Oh Swish Let's go Athlete He's an athlete Amy yes what Well no I'm just making
Starting point is 01:15:37 They're Oh It's one for four They meant to go Like right in there You know Mitchell you didn't hit the rim though that time
Starting point is 01:15:45 No no No no Rim Kardashian One for four Seaforth is shooting Their fifth ball Now of seven Oh
Starting point is 01:15:52 That was like in and then out I'm good. One for five. Eddie, giving them a ball. Why are you making them chase the ball? It's warm. It's warm.
Starting point is 01:16:02 Here we go, the sixth shot. You do it underarm. Oh, one for six. Guys, this is not working. Here we go. And two for seven. Now, I'm going to let Eddie shoot all of ours. There you go.
Starting point is 01:16:20 That's easy, huh? Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. They went two for seven. Eddie, you can do this. Your eyes closed. You need three to win.
Starting point is 01:16:29 All right, here we go. Eddie, shooting his first shot. Let's get one on the board early. Here we go. Shoot. Come on. Oh, I made him. That was nothing but net.
Starting point is 01:16:38 One. I'm shocked right now. Eddie with one. Big shot. Oh, he made doing it a run. Eddie, go eyes closed just to rub it in. He just snub it. Eyes closed.
Starting point is 01:16:52 Eyes closed. No, no. There we go. His third shot, up. Oh. Hey, do Steph Curry, shoot it and turn your back. Okay. Two for three.
Starting point is 01:17:03 One more for the win. There we go. Bobby's got a hit. He hits it. Oh, I did it. Yeah. We could not have lost evil bridge. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:16 He could not have lost any more than. Yeah. So, now what? They're going to, they have to forfeit their hat and glasses for a year. All right. They have to elude. Oh, my God. They stole our look.
Starting point is 01:17:28 Can't see? No, are those glasses? Do we have a fire pit? We can... No, I'm going to keep them on my desk so the listeners can always see them. That's nice. Yeah. So, are those prescription glasses?
Starting point is 01:17:39 Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, you can... I'm blind. But you have glasses, though, that aren't dark-rimmed, I'm assuming. No. This is the one. That's it.
Starting point is 01:17:46 That's all he's got. This is it for me. Seaforth is in studio. It's going to be a struggle of a week. Yeah. You didn't have your best performance today, Mitch. I'll be honest. No, it was terrible.
Starting point is 01:17:55 Egg first go, didn't hit a basket I'm terrible So I'll be You can go and put your glasses right up here on the desk There they are here, here it, duh Wait, wait Bones, are we keeping the glasses Yes, for a year And the hat, can I have the hat too?
Starting point is 01:18:09 Yeah, come on Tom Put it up here He can't see the desk He can't see the desk Yeah Nice, all right He's taking his hat off Nice, we have them both
Starting point is 01:18:20 Eddie, how do I look? It looks the same Yeah. Like pretty good. Well, boys, it's been fun. Thanks. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. There we go.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Appreciate you guys. We will. I'm being told here, we have a little time, so we're still going to let you play coming up in the next segment. That's very common. And in proper, being the nice guy, I'm going to let you wear your hat and glasses
Starting point is 01:18:46 for your final performance. Wow. Right here on stage. Yeah, that's right. They can do it. Coming back. I've never been so happy. We're going to hear Seaforth perform
Starting point is 01:18:54 live on the show. This is like the Rolling Stones final tour. No, this is huge. If you don't get to see them before they all die, you don't get to see them ever. This will be the last time C4th ever wears their glasses they had. All right, we'll come right back
Starting point is 01:19:08 with C-4th here in studio. On the Bobby Bones show now. They lost the game, but you know what? If I'm anything, I'm a giver. They brought their guitars in case. We're still going to let them play. Seaport is here. They're now sitting up on the stage.
Starting point is 01:19:24 What does Seaforth mean? So Seaforth is actually the suburb that we grew up in Sydney, Australia. So we know each other since we're three years old. We went to Seaforth kindergarten as well. So we thought we'd take a little piece of home with us. When did you two start doing music together in Australia? About six, seven years ago. What's the Australian country music scene like?
Starting point is 01:19:43 It's good. Like there's a lot of it, man. It's a lot of amazing artists and stuff. It's just not as kind of, I guess, broad as it is here. And Nashville and everything became a very real dream pretty quickly for us, you know, and so we just figured why not, you know. Did you guys have a moderate amount of success in Australia as a country act, or did you go, we're just going to go take it all on in America?
Starting point is 01:20:04 Honestly, yeah, not really at all. We kind of had our site set on the U.S. and Nashville from the beginning, so we started making trips out quite early when we started the project and kind of had our site set to come out here where the home of country music is, yeah. C-Forth is in studio, and by the way, Mitch, are you eligible for LASIC eye surgery since you can't wear your glasses? Yeah. I was thinking about it, so maybe I might have to.
Starting point is 01:20:25 We're going to get into that now, yeah. Do you guys play golf? We've tried lately. Very poorly. Apparently we're terrible at everything. Oh, man. Basketball, golf. Okay. Why do you ask?
Starting point is 01:20:37 Well, I just, I knew you guys have been trying to play a little bit lately. Oh, yeah. Yeah, trying is the keyword. Yeah. Top golf. And then on the actual course, it's pretty embarrassing. C-Forth is here. They're going to play.
Starting point is 01:20:48 By the way, what are you going to play before? We're going to play our new song called Breakups. Which is out today? Yeah. It is. Funny enough. Yeah. What a weird coincidence.
Starting point is 01:20:56 Yeah. Look at that. Okay, so I hope you guys, well, you can listen to them. I've actually never heard them play live before. Cool. So if they suck, I'm sorry. I'm just, I'm just kidding. If we suck, it's going to be like eggs.
Starting point is 01:21:06 We have other eggs, we can throw at you. You can follow them. We are Seaforth, and here they are playing their new song called Breakups. Thank you guys. Two, seven. You're the only one in the world I want to talk to right now. The only one to pick me up on a night like this, and I know. You'd be the first thing on my mind in the morning.
Starting point is 01:21:50 Sober or drunk, you're the one that I just miss. I said I wouldn't call. We said we wouldn't talk at all. It always ends bad. But I'm looking at my phone, and if you're not alone, I don't think I could take that. Because I'm drunk at a bar two ways. And I just want to talk to my best friend
Starting point is 01:22:15 I said I wouldn't call We said we wouldn't talk at all But right now All I want to do is hear your voice Pretend it doesn't hurt like hell Drink some wine and talk about the past And I go ten steps back But breakups don't work like that
Starting point is 01:22:37 Come on Look at these guys Yeah Thank you very much. That's really good, guys. Thanks, man. Oh, look at you guys. That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:22:46 Thank you. Holy crap. Thank you, dude. Well, well, well. And now I feel bad taking their hat and glasses. They're so good that I want to steal their look. Too bad, though. We got to take it back.
Starting point is 01:22:56 Well, here's the deal I'll make. Oh, okay. Because you guys are exceptionally talented. Thanks, man. I expect you to be good. I mean, you're signed to a big label, but that was better than I was. That was Premier. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 01:23:11 That's really like probably the first or second time we really probably played that song as well. Okay, well, here's never do it again. Only here. That's the only performance ever. Wow, that's, by the way, these two guys are C-fourth. You know what's interesting about you two is that you both sing a lead in the song. Yeah. Mostly, that's not the case.
Starting point is 01:23:29 Right. With duos or trios. Right. Do you, is there, how do you decide who sings what? It's usually a fight. Nice. Basketball. Yeah, basketball shoot out.
Starting point is 01:23:39 Definitely not basketball or. egg, egg smashing. Old golf. Well, I'm impressed. Thanks, man. How about this? Once things, this is the deal I'll make with them. Okay. First of all, we're going to need maybe not that hat and those glasses if you love them so much. We're going to need a pair of glasses and a hat to keep up here as our victory. You can keep wearing those.
Starting point is 01:23:59 Great. I got you. But secondly, you have to agree on the spot now that at some point, maybe end of this year, once we can do shows again, maybe next year, you have to come and open up for Eddie and I. Absolutely. Absolutely, my. And 100%. We have to make a point. You guys, obviously, like, raging idiots, it's amazing. In Australian and stuff, we actually started a project called the Sweet Boys that is literally like parodies as well.
Starting point is 01:24:22 Parody songs and stuff. So it's funny how they look like us and do things like us. Yeah, that's hilarious. I talked about it the other day. Different look. Hilarie. So, Total Necks and Change is our thing with the Sweet Boys. You guys cover anything?
Starting point is 01:24:33 You guys do any cool covers? Sure. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'm inclined to ask him for another song. Let's do it. All right. What can you give us in the cover world that's pretty new?
Starting point is 01:24:43 Capos in that room in there, if I'm going to do. But, yeah. Chasing you, Morgan Wallen? Yeah, we've been messing around with this Morgan Wallen song a bit lately. He's an up-and-coming country artist. I've heard of him. Just kidding. He's the best, man.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Here they are doing Chasing You from Morgan Wallen. This is Seaforth. Used to chase that Chattanooga Frey. A couple of kids in a Chevrolet. Catch a little air with me cross the tracks. Sipping on something from a paper sack. hanging shirt on the maple lamp slipping through the moon to the river bend wasn't very long i was jumping in jumping in i guess i'm still doing now what i was doing then chasing you like a shot of whiskey i'm chasing you like those goodbye tail lights headed west to anywhere out of this nowhere town chasing you that freedom chasing that feeling that got gone too soon
Starting point is 01:25:57 chasing that you and me I only see in my review yeah I'm laying here tonight holding someone who's still chasing you still chasing you still chasing you still chasing you still chasing you there they are seeforth there it is a good happy happy boy Come on.
Starting point is 01:26:23 And they're so good. Thank you. So good. It's not even a bit anymore. I don't want to take their glasses. We're so sorry. Thank you guys. We should have never questioned you.
Starting point is 01:26:34 So we're ending it like this. Okay. You will deliver us a hat. Dale. And on that hat, you will write, we stole your look, Signed C for it. I love it.
Starting point is 01:26:43 I loved it. You will deliver us a pair of glasses. Yep. And somehow that will say the same. And then at some point in 2021, or 2022, we'll bring you out on the road with us and you'll open up for us. Let's go, dude.
Starting point is 01:26:55 Absolutely love it. We feel good about that. Oh, it's a great deal. There they are, Seaforth. Follow them. We are Seaforth on Instagram, Twitter. The new song, Breakups is out today. Great to meet you guys.
Starting point is 01:27:07 Thank you guys for having us. Great to meet you. Great sports. You're terrible at eggs, terrible at basketball, but you're great at music, so don't quit. All right, here they are. See you guys later. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:27:18 With producer Eddie. Tell me something. All right, this is so dumb. There's a football fantasy league in Georgia, right? And if you come in last place in this league, you have to go to Waffle House, spend 24 hours. And be in there for 24 hours. That's the penalty, all right? But for every waffle you eat, you can take an hour off.
Starting point is 01:27:37 So this guy named Michael Carstley, this guy named Michael Carstley, he loses, gets last place. He's like, all right, head to Waffle House. And he decides to stream it live. And people are watching on Facebook live or whatever. And he starts eating. He ends up eating 18 waffles and the bill was $49. So all his friends on Facebook were like, hey, we'll pay for that bill. Don't worry, that was great.
Starting point is 01:27:59 He said, no, no, no. Instead of paying for the bill, this poor waitress who's been dealing with me for, what, six hours? Like, let's donate money for her tip. So they donated over $1,000 for her tip and gave it to her. That story is so good in so many ways. Right. One, hilarious. Hilarious.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Two, that's what a great way to turn it around and give back. Yeah. That guy ate 18 waffles. 18 waffles. You see a picture of him? No, I didn't see it. No, I don't know if you don't have no idea. That's the opposite of your diet.
Starting point is 01:28:24 Yes, it is. The exact opposite. Wow. Okay, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:32:02 Dot E-DU slash military. This is the part of the show where I say call us if you have a question for us, a comment about something we've talked about,
Starting point is 01:32:11 whatever. If you've never, ever called a radio show, I get it. It'd be weird for me to call one too, but I would do it sometimes. I would get nervous, but I would do it.
Starting point is 01:32:20 Our phone number is 877-77-B-O-B-B-Y. We appreciate you so much. Let's do the news. Bobby's Big. Story. Lunchbox, are you here? Yes, I'm here. That's just the call to show that he did not win the lottery last night.
Starting point is 01:32:43 So depressing. There was no big winner. That's the good news. There was no big winner in last night's $550 million powerball jackpot. But they say don't throw your ticket out because seven lucky people did win a million dollars by getting the first five numbers right. Lunchbox, how many number did you get last night? I got one here, one there, two there.
Starting point is 01:33:12 I mean, nothing. I didn't win the million because it wasn't even in our state that the million was one. California, Texas, you both got a million dollar winner. Oh, you even know that? Yeah, and there's a couple other states, I can't remember. But yeah, there was five states that got a million dollar winner. No one won the jackpot, so Saturday's drawing, $640 million. The fifth largest.
Starting point is 01:33:33 Let's go! So are you playing both of them again, and when do they happen again? Tomorrow night, the mega millions will be Friday night, and then the power ball will be Saturday. So, yeah, I'll pay. Now I think I'll go up to $150 for each. one. Wow. And I'll win the mega millions on Friday, Powerball on Saturday. You won't see me Monday. What does your wife think about you spending all this money on all of these lotteries? She probably doesn't care because it's my money. So she don't have joint accounts. We don't have
Starting point is 01:34:09 joint accounts. So she can't say anything. She just gets annoyed that I leave the losing tickets laying around the house. She's like, is this a winner or loser? Luser, why don't you throw it away? But She has no say. So she doesn't say anything. And she'll like it when I'm sitting on that big stack of cash and I, you know, break her off a little piece here. I'll buy you some dinner. A little piece. So wait.
Starting point is 01:34:28 If you win, how actually, what do you give your wife of the winnings? I don't know how that would work. There's probably something legally where she would get something. But she, I mean, it would go into my account because I spent my money on it. And if I had to argue it with a lawyer, I'd be like, look, we have separate accounts. I paid for it out of my account. so maybe, but yeah, I'd break her off piece. That's not how it would work, by the way.
Starting point is 01:34:53 You can talk to a lawyer about your accounts, whatever, but if you make it while you're together and she was taking care of your kids while you were driving to get tickets, she would get half of it. Okay, so you're going to tell me, I need to take the kids with me when I buy the tickets. He tells the kids everywhere now.
Starting point is 01:35:09 He tells the lawyer, as my money, she has no say, and I had the kids with me. Here's a picture of her napping when I was getting the tickets, Your Honor. She had nothing. So again, no winners of Powerball and Mega Millions. Both drawings are pushing at about 700 million each. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:35:29 How awesome does that sound? That's just crazy. This is the greatest ever. Back to back days, you have a chance to win $700 million. That just doesn't happen. That's not real life. You're right. I'm glad you said it.
Starting point is 01:35:43 I'm glad you said it. Okay. Let's do some more news. The other story. Who on the show watches or has watched Yellowstone? Me. Yeah, me. Anybody else?
Starting point is 01:35:58 No. Man, y'all are missing out. It is just a fantastic show. What is it on? Paramount, but. Amazon, you can watch it on, do you have Amazon TV video prime? I watched it on Peacock. I watch it.
Starting point is 01:36:09 Yeah. So there's ways. It's on. Just look at your window. Apparently, it's on something. You guys have it so easy. It is. That one's everywhere.
Starting point is 01:36:19 Yellowstone's a really good show. I was also hesitant because I was like, I don't know if I want to watch a Western, but it's so much more than that. But now you can rent that ranch owned by John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner, and it sleeps over 30 people. Wow.
Starting point is 01:36:34 And it will cost you $30,000 a night. Dang. I saw this, and before I saw the price tag, I thought, we're going there. Like, we're taking a trip. Like, it's going to be so fun. We can gather some girlfriends. Bobby, you can come to.
Starting point is 01:36:47 but like anybody that's a fan. But then $30,000 a night, what in the world? It's 160 acres spread in the Rocky Mountains. Quote, it's just beautiful. Three lakes and a river running through it. My whole family spends some of their best times there. But you're going to need a bunch of rich friends or one rich friend and a bunch of takers or a friend that wins a lottery.
Starting point is 01:37:07 Ooh, like lunchbox. And then goes, hey, we're going to have a big party up here. Oh, I will have a party there and I'll send you pictures. Caretakers on site. It sleeps 27 easily. a baseball field, a sledding hill. There are three hot tubs. Dang.
Starting point is 01:37:22 Ultimate private. It's just on and on and on, you know. So for just over a thousand dollars a person, you could stay there one night. If you have 30 friends. And it's, I believe it's in Colorado. What? It's not in Montana. So you're going to need a bunch of friends, but the stunning Aspen, Colorado Ranch sleeps around 30 people.
Starting point is 01:37:41 Hollywood. I feel deceived. Located in a serene seclusion yet. Only minutes from downtown Aspen, the 160-acre ranch is available for rent. Oh, is this a poser ranch? Well, sometimes they use different houses than the ones that are actually shooting in. I mean, most times. Okay.
Starting point is 01:37:59 Like all the time. I know, but now it's just like killing my dream of going to Montana or Wyoming or wherever. One more story here. A British man finally passes his driving test after failing 157 times. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's like SpongeBob. I don't know if you guys watch SpongeBob Squarepants. but you can never pass the driving test
Starting point is 01:38:17 What does he have to drive in the ocean? Pineapple? It's a boat. Yeah, it's like a boat. Yeah, it's like a boat. It's like a boat. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:38:24 Amy, it's a cartoon. Don't roll your eyes. I'm not rolling my eyes. It's just been a minute. I know that SpongeBob is good when I used to babysit. The kids would watch it and I was, you know, 18, but I liked it. I just haven't watched it since. I still like it.
Starting point is 01:38:37 I'm 40. It's great. Yeah. It's still funny as crap. There's no law with this old man. We're like, all right, sorry, but we can't afford to put you on the road. Wait, how old is the person? An unnamed wannabe driver has reportedly managed to pass the driving knowledge test
Starting point is 01:38:49 after failing to answer enough questions correctly, whopping 157 times. So no, I guess you keep going until you get it. That's crazy. The second most number of failures belongs to a woman in her 30s, who has taken the test 117 times and has still yet to pass it. That's crazy. Why don't you spend that time that you keep driving up to this place and failing it on just studying? It's got to be some sort of a comprehensive.
Starting point is 01:39:14 things. Yeah. But they have different ways like when I took my CDL. They have, you can push out the buttons and go, hey, do you want to hear it?
Starting point is 01:39:20 Hey, do you want to, there's different ways to study it. They have, all the guides are on YouTube. You can, no, I'm not, Amy,
Starting point is 01:39:26 no, this is not a comprehension thing. Okay. Not a hundred and four, nope. Yeah. I know. Hey, I mean, some people just don't,
Starting point is 01:39:31 I'm not letting, I'm not letting, I'm not letting, I'm not letting, I'm not letting, this story, okay? I'm just trying to think of like the,
Starting point is 01:39:38 there's got to be a deeper reason why this is not happening. There you go. Woke Amy and the news. Thank you very much. Bobby's Big. Story. You guys know who Rebel Wilson is? Yes. The actress. She was in the singing movie. Pitch perfect.
Starting point is 01:39:53 It's perfect. Bridesmaids. Right? She's in bridesmaids? She is. Really funny. She's from Australia. But she revealed once that she was kidnapped at gunpoint while on vacation in Africa. This is why I don't leave my house. Does I have to? Dang. This kind of stuff happens. Okay. Carry on.
Starting point is 01:40:09 When? What happened? She said the petrifying night occurred in rural Mesambique. Yeah, I'm sure that's right. Eddie used to summer there. And left her and her a group of friends fearing for their lives. Quote, we were on this cattle truck. These men came on another truck with a lot of guns. She said they were like, yeah, you got to get off your truck.
Starting point is 01:40:33 So she said that they obeyed the orders. They were taken to a house in the middle of nowhere. Oh. She said despite being really scared, she remained pretty calm, said she was able to be very good in crisis. She was a team leader. Then this is what happened. They sat us down.
Starting point is 01:40:47 I said, everybody link arms. Because I was petrified in the night that they might want to take one of the girls. Yeah. The kidnappers released the group in the morning, and they then made a get away to the South African border. They were never given an explanation as to why they were taken. She said she believed it was because of smuggling. Quote, I think maybe those guys,
Starting point is 01:41:05 maybe used to smuggle illegal things in the bottom of the truck. But imagine that. You know what doesn't sound like a vacation to me? Right in the back of a truck in Africa wide open. Some people it does, though. That's what you do, yeah. That's not what I do. I'm talking about me.
Starting point is 01:41:20 Well, I know, but like, in Haiti, you didn't ride on a tap tap? In Haiti, I closed my eyes and grated on my teeth and rode in back of a cab and was like, dear God, they don't have traffic lights. They're swerving all over the road. And there are chickens running across the road. And that wasn't really a vacation. You wanted to go see what. No, I wanted to go see Amy's kids. That was not a vaid, no.
Starting point is 01:41:39 I can't believe you would associate that with a vacation. No, I'm saying, well, you were in another country and they have, that's how you get around. And they call them a tap tap. It's an open truck with like a bench and there's, you know, open air and they're painted really bright and fun. I didn't ride that. You didn't ride that. No, I got in a car. And even then I was scared to death.
Starting point is 01:41:58 No, no tap tap it. But that's crazy. I can't believe, too, if she has all that money that she wouldn't have security with her. Yeah. Like had hired some kind of local security with big guns. because I had somebody with me honestly I hit up
Starting point is 01:42:11 friends Amy who knew people in the military who were like hey I got somebody here and then I started to go like side eye are they part of the inside yeah
Starting point is 01:42:19 they're tricking you no no yeah since your trip was kept a secret from me I know who you're with now and you're very safe yeah so you say
Starting point is 01:42:27 but nutty story there was a story we talked about this morning where the stranger finds a balloon with the little girl's Christmas list it's like what is this opens it up sends her the gifts
Starting point is 01:42:36 she was trying to get all the way up to Santa Claus. It didn't make it all the way up there because the balloon fell earlier. But the stranger finds it. Leticia Flores Gonzalez. And boom. There you go. And God drew all the gifts. So Lunchmark's like, hey, can I do this? And I was like, sure. So he has the list with him now. You're going to put this in a balloon next week. What is on the list that you're going to ask for? And what does the letter say in Lunchbox? Well, the letter says, it's just like, hey, whoever finds my balloon, if you could make my Christmas wishes come true. These are the things I'm hoping for Christmas.
Starting point is 01:43:09 Yes, I'm 39, but I really like these under the tree. Why are you talking like a young kid right now? He's in character. Yeah, I'm trying to, you know, I'm trying to read it. Like, they're going to be like, oh, I'm so sympathetic. Like, what does this kid want? So, of course. Well, I think you're 39, though.
Starting point is 01:43:23 Yeah. Well, I feel like I shouldn't lie to them. Well, not all omission is lying. You just don't give your age. Hi. Hi. My name is lunchbox. Yeah, in the past, I've been known to get very little.
Starting point is 01:43:37 the old Christmas gifts, which you come on and complain about every year. That's true. Correct. And it would make my Christmas wish come true if you could help me even just get one of these gifts. Yeah. Okay. That works. Are you ready? Read us your list. Oh, number one, guys, you know what it is. What's number one? Lambo!
Starting point is 01:43:54 Let's go! Give me a Lambo! He wants a Lamborghini. Okay, go ahead. Number two, I'm out there on the water. Give me a boat! I want a boat! I want a boat! Any kind of boat? You know, flat bottom, troll the motor. Listen, a boat.
Starting point is 01:44:10 A boat. Let's start with a boat. Like, if they get me, you know, if they get me one I don't like, I can upgrade. I can trade it in. We'll figure it out. But a boat. Number three, scratch off lottery tickets. Listen, they can, that's easy.
Starting point is 01:44:24 They can just go into a gas station and buy ten of them and send them my way. That's such an easy gift. That one sounds like nothing. Yeah. It's like a Lamborghini to scratch off tickets. If they're having to pick which one they're going to do, I'll tell you what they're not going to buy you. Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:44:38 And then I also have Visa gift cards. Any amount of money, they can just go into the grocery store. They're right there at the checkout. Give me $100, $200, $200, $500, $500, $500. You know, it said it, because on the thing, it says $5 to $500 on the visa. Just swipe one of those and send it over. All right, and? And then also some new underwear.
Starting point is 01:44:59 Huh. Because- No underwear. Yeah. I have really old underwear. I still have like Simpsons, Boxer. and Napoleon Dynamite, they have holes all in them. And so I feel like they could maybe stop by the store and get me some new underwear.
Starting point is 01:45:14 Heck, I feel like I can get them in the last three. Yeah, that's nothing. Right now. I would have made bigger asks. What else do I need? If I get a lambone a boat, what else do you need? Well, lunchbox, you really want your own island? Right.
Starting point is 01:45:27 You talk about that all the time. Good luck with that one. Yeah, but I don't think they can get me an island, Amy. See, that's the thing. You've got to be realistic. But a Lamborghini they can. Airline miles, man. Something.
Starting point is 01:45:37 Oh, Eddie, Airwound. Yeah, private jet. Private jet, dude. Oh, you don't, not to hold jet. Just buy time on a private jet. There you go. Oh, that's not a bad one. He's changing it now.
Starting point is 01:45:47 He's going to have scratchouts. Maybe I'll add number six and seven. Time on a private jet. We're going to float this off next week on the show. There you go. Here is Andrea, who's on the phone, who has a question about lunchbox as she hears them talk. Andrea, what do you want to ask about lunchbox? Hey, guys.
Starting point is 01:46:06 Thank you for having me on the show. show. I've been listening to you guys for four years and I just don't want to feel like lunchbox feels attacked. But there's a couple of things that have really bugged me that he's talked about like with the money, the lottery thing and him not sharing with his friends and they, but you guys wouldn't want that you guys would be trying to take from him. And I really started getting bothered by when the whole confrontation with Amy and your husband and lunchbox when you guys were trying to buy the same house and he said he was going to beat him up. And I'm just curious if like if this is how lunchbox is, if it's a facade, if it's an act,
Starting point is 01:46:49 because you're around so many awesome people that brighten my day. And sometimes it's just like really lunchbox. Lunchbox, she wants to know if you're saying you wouldn't share with anyone if you won the lottery. If you threaten Amy's husband by beating him up, if all that's real or if you're playing character. No, I don't even remember threatening Amy's husband to beat him up. I said if he wanted a showdown, we could have showed down. That means he would want to fight too. So why are we putting it all on me?
Starting point is 01:47:14 That means we would both have to want to fight. So you have to blame Amy's husband. It takes two people to tango, if you know what I'm saying. And I would not share with them when I win the lottery. That's 100% true. Amy, and I saw this on Twitter, someone tweeted me, and it's a great point. Amy wants everybody's lottery winnings, but she doesn't want to play the lottery. Like her daughter wanted to play the lottery, and Amy's like, I'm going to take half her winnings.
Starting point is 01:47:35 So Amy is all about grabbing your money, but she ain't giving you her money and she's not trying to win. So these people, if they're not going to play the lottery, why would I give them my money? That is just crazy. Do you just go and give your friends part of your paycheck because they're your friends? No. Is he done? I mean, there he is. I don't think you need explanation.
Starting point is 01:47:55 She's basically saying I should give you guys money out of my paycheck because you're my friends. No, I don't think you should. I think it's the attitude of, no, I wouldn't do that. They're trying to take it from me. And I don't think that that's their heart. And it's like, I feel like you just have this attitude. And it's like, listen in to the last four years, it's like, whoa, why having you softened? What can I do to help you to not see people so badly?
Starting point is 01:48:20 Because it's like, they're good people. Well, I never said they weren't good people, but I'm not giving them my lottery winnings. I mean, they can be good people and I don't have to share my wealth with them. Hey, let me ask a question here. Let's just, I'm going to go back in time a little bit. Lunchbox, if you won $500 million, would you cut me off a chunk? No! Okay, I'd like to, the first five years or so that we did this,
Starting point is 01:48:41 I gave Lunchbox a part of my contract because I was like he's not getting paid enough. Like, I did give him part of my paycheck. Oh. What is his, does he have a lot of? What do you want me to say? Well, that's actually, this happened with a lot of people on the show, so the show wouldn't be going without me. Like, he knew that.
Starting point is 01:49:01 Right. He was like, man, this dude really does deserve it. Like, I mean, come on, guys. Like, without me, the show wouldn't have been there. Like, he would have been just sitting there talking to nobody. It would have been like, uh-oh. So, yes, he needed someone around. So he knew he was overvalued at that point.
Starting point is 01:49:17 It wasn't about me being overvalued. It was about the company. It was like, we're not going to pay lunchbox anymore. And I was like, okay, we'll take it out of mine. And I just wonder if that early would affect if you were to win the lottery now. But the answer is no. No, but I do. Thank you for that.
Starting point is 01:49:30 I appreciate that. I mean, $500 million, like a little bit here, a little bit there. And that's not, I'm not even asking for it. I don't even think you share it with your wife. Andrea. You always say $500 million that you're going to go broke. If you give a little here and give a little there, you've got to be smart with your money. But the first thing you want me to do is break you guys off some.
Starting point is 01:49:53 So you're really doing the exact opposite of what you're telling me. You guys are conflicting stories. I want to know that. That's what I'm saying. Your contradiction. What are they called? Yeah, you're contradictions. You got us, buddy.
Starting point is 01:50:04 Yeah. Your dictionary word of the day really came into play today. Andrea, is there anything that we can do or say to make you feel better about this? No, I think you guys are amazing. Thank you. You just, you're a blessing with me. Thank you. Okay.
Starting point is 01:50:23 Well, we may have lost her. Are we a loser? No, no, no, no, you did. I'm like, my heart's pounding this is so crazy. It's like listening to you guys for four years. It's like, oh, my crap. Well, we, listen, we value you so much. The fact that you would call us to just, you know, makes my morning,
Starting point is 01:50:40 because I know how weird it is to call the radio show. So thank you. I encourage you to stay with us. Even if lunchbox irritates you. I promise you, he's a good guy. He may be obnoxious. Oh, I know he's a good guy. He's so sweet.
Starting point is 01:50:50 Sometimes he just irritates me. It's kind of like my husband just kick him in the butt once. It's like, all right, I still love you. Basically the same, except we kick the other side of him. Yeah. All right. Thank you, Andrea. Have a great day.
Starting point is 01:51:04 You too. Thank you. Starting point is 01:54:50 The office. The Peacock. Correct. Ted Lasso. Apple Plus. Yeah, Apple TV Plus. Good. The undoing.
Starting point is 01:55:01 HBO Max. Remind me after this. I'll tell you what I watched last night on HBO Max. Okay. It's good. The Mandalorian. Disney Plus. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:11 She's good. Well, my husband and son like that one. And I've never seen Star Wars. Can I watch The Mandalorian? I don't know, man. I haven't watched it. So many of my friends, including Yesterday, I was getting my haircut.
Starting point is 01:55:25 She was like, you watch a Mandalorian? I said, no, I've never seen Star Wars. She was me either, but it's great. I'm a Star Wars fan. Never seen Mandalorian. I've seen all of it. I think you would like it. Give it a few episodes.
Starting point is 01:55:35 Even without knowing Star Wars. You don't have to know anything about it. The Umbrella Academy, Amy. Netflix. Jack Ryan. Amazon. Good. Dang.
Starting point is 01:55:50 The morning show. Apple Plus. That's a reason I got it. Apple Plus, free trial to begin with, and now I keep it because there's other good shows. Yellowstone. I mean, a lot of places, but Paramount. Peacock. Okay.
Starting point is 01:56:07 It isn't moved. Okay. One more. The Handmaid's Tale. Hulu. Yeah, good. Wow. A lot of TV watching.
Starting point is 01:56:14 That's pretty good, though. Yeah. Yellowstone threw me, because there's like a billion different places. Well, you get a lot of those shows if you buy them places. Yes, true. But you can watch Yellowstone. If you have Peacock, you can just watch Yellowstone. But before Peacock.
Starting point is 01:56:26 Like season one, two, three, wasn't on the peacock. I watched on HBO Max last night The Tiger Woods documentary Part 1 of 2. Whoa, is it good? It's crazy. So this goes into the life, life, life. Even if I don't like golf, I'll like it?
Starting point is 01:56:39 It's pretty, the first episode, the only one that's out, it's pretty golf-centric, but you see how his early, I mean, his dad, Earl Woods, was a two-time Green Beret, did two tours. Oh, wow. And militaryed him as a young kid to be golf. and he
Starting point is 01:56:56 even his girlfriend from high school is in this and she was like he had no life she'd like I take him bowling he'd be like wow and then you see how he was brought into this world had no social human skills and he's the biggest thing
Starting point is 01:57:10 wild and he it does show him in handcuffs at the very beginning of it because eventually it gets there but you start to kind of in a way feel bad for him the handcuffs was the last thing
Starting point is 01:57:23 right until he kind of made his recovery. It'll get there. He was under the influence driving. Okay. Oh yeah, and crashed right outside his house? No. Her house? No, he just got pulled over.
Starting point is 01:57:34 What you're thinking of is she came out and busted the back of his SUV when she found that he was doing some shah-shah. Yeah. But again, that was before the handcuffs. Okay. But it's very golf sense. I think eventually you'll like it. But it shows him winning the biggest tour events, you know, the Augusta by 12 stroke,
Starting point is 01:57:51 by setting records. but it's pretty even Caitlin was like it's a little golf heavy at the beginning but she liked it because it just shows you why top five biggest athletes of our lifetime how we're like we wish we were tiger but then you see some of it and you're going
Starting point is 01:58:05 man he had it rough growing up that's all they got he wanted to play different sports and the teachers were like went to his dad and we're like hey he'd like to do other stuff and he was like no this is it he would train him while playing golf to knock out distractions
Starting point is 01:58:20 he would be yelling at him and doing jangling his pocket while putting. He was like, this is going to happen to your whole life. Wow. He would, he taught Tiger had to hypnotize himself. That's amazing. So he could play golf in a, in a state of almost like in a zone. Does it say why golf? Why? Why golf? You can watch and see. I don't know what it's that. Just in case. You look over there and see it.
Starting point is 01:58:42 No, I mean, I'm like, I mean, I liked the Michael Jordan thing. That was a little more about people than so far the Tiger Woods one is. But, but I think it'll get there. It was good. You should watch. If you guys have HBO Max or get the free trial. All right. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:58:55 I thought was pretty good. Here you go. A new study found there's no such thing as too much exercise. Oh. Everything you do helps your heart. When it comes to matters of heart health, no amount of exercise is too much. Now, listen, if you have a calf injury and you keep running on your calf injury, obviously that's not good for your body.
Starting point is 01:59:15 However, some people go, well, if you run too much, you're probably just going to, they're like, no, no. You're just basically lifting. weights with your heart. You're just making it stronger all the time you're doing it. So there you go. Are you still exercising at a relatively consistent rate? Yeah. I don't, I guess I'm not, I don't stress out about it as much. And that's what I would say asterisk to that article is like it could be too much if it's becoming unhealthy and interrupt. They're not talking about your mind. I know. Okay. So woke Amy strikes again.
Starting point is 01:59:45 I want to make sure someone like I would maybe in my past just in full honesty, I would have heard that article and then use that as giving myself permission to over exercise because hey well it's not bad i can do it this is what they say i know for the body and the heart i agree i'm just saying how we hear it sometimes if you're not in the right state but yes to answer your question i do get my heart rate up and try to take care of myself mind body spirit i did a 30 minute run last night on the old treadmill and i hate the treadmill and i thought if i can mind my running thing is i get bored and i just can't take my mind off how awful running is the whole time i run i can't stop thinking about how awful it is to run.
Starting point is 02:00:22 Because it's awful. It's the worst. And I don't exercise because I like it. Exercise because I hate it. But I know I love what happens after I exercise more than I hate what's happening while I exercise. And so I'm like, fine, I'm just going to put the Arkansas basketball game on. I'll be distracted by the basketball game.
Starting point is 02:00:37 I'll be in a good mood. We're playing LSU. We got walloped. I was pissed the whole time. At running, at the game. It was miserable. But I did it. The end.
Starting point is 02:00:48 It's terrible. Like what's walloped? how bad? Well, the first half. At one point we were down by 30. I mean, that might have been in the first two minutes of the game. We ended up losing about like 18 or something. It wasn't good. I love that team. We'll get there though. Don't worry about us. Don't worry about us. I'm going to play this song here from Seaforth.
Starting point is 02:01:06 Now, before I hit play here, it's called breakups. They came in on the show earlier and played this game against Eddie and I. Just being as honest as I possibly can be, I did not expect them to be this good. They played and we went because we only brought him in because they looked like they were kind of doing Eddie and I same look in our band Eddie has the big hat
Starting point is 02:01:25 to have the dark grim glasses they came in and played and we were like what the crap they were so good so like we don't really say that in front of their face we're just like dude that was really good
Starting point is 02:01:35 and then they walk out of the room and then we always look at each of them like dude that was really really good why don't we tell them that I don't know you did I did go back but it's like
Starting point is 02:01:43 I was so good that was so good I was so good I was so good man we never tell them to their face but they were amazing oh god that was so good 82% of people who are planning to get the vaccine say that once they get it that's mostly everybody once they get it
Starting point is 02:01:58 they're going to do something big to celebrate afterwards I was thinking about what I'm going to do big once I get it I'm probably going to like go to a concert get out of my house that's big to me now I mean that's big right now in general normal stuff just seems so big
Starting point is 02:02:13 what are these people talking about what's big people going to die they probably want to go to a big and like dance and like grind everywhere. When you see movies or TV shows that were shot a couple years ago and everybody slammed in together and they have awkward. Aren't you like, oh no, or like many people in an elevator? When someone gives someone a hug, I'm like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 02:02:32 Yeah, weird, huh? How quickly a year's time, like our whole view has been shifted on that. But yeah, 30% of people say they're going to do something immediately after they get vaccinated, which, by the way, you got to get the second shot. So you get one shot, you go part and it didn't matter. Yeah. Second shot, 52% said they'll wait a little bit and 19% say, I'm going to hold off. Oh.
Starting point is 02:02:54 And just make sure. Money, go first class, fly first class, people say. And then buy a bunch of gym stuff is what they're going to do too. So there you go. I did sign up for that list, that email list. Oh, you did? Good for you. Where you can sign up and you have to be near your phone at 2.30 p.m.
Starting point is 02:03:12 And if they don't give all the vaccines for that day because they can spoil, they start calling people on the standby list. Wow. So, Caitlin and I are both on the vaccine standby list. That is like a lottery. What if one of you gets called, but the other doesn't? Well, as long as it's me. No, I don't care. I don't care.
Starting point is 02:03:26 I didn't know if you gave the same phone number. We did, same phone number, and same email. You're like, come more. We sent them together. That's what's up. Tomorrow, Blake Shelton, tomorrow, Dan and Shea. Tomorrow, the Friday morning dance party. Wow.
Starting point is 02:03:38 A lot. Yeah. I'm probably going to come in tomorrow. I think you should. Well, it just sounds like a big show I should be here for. So that is all she wrote. Have a great day, everybody. We'll see tomorrow.
