Tiger King was everywhere, but there was nothing going on. Like Tiger King reminds me of the first part of coronavirus. Yeah, we were in lockdown. 64 million people watched Tiger King the first time around. And according to a couple of the original cast members, the show could be making its return as early as next month. In cameo videos, John Rinky said, it's coming very soon.

And James Garrettson, I don't know these people are. James Garrison says you should be looking for it in March or April. Who's John Rinky and James Garrison? The first guy is the guy with no legs. He had like the prosthetic legs. He got to remember. Who's the nice guy, the one you actually liked in it? And you work with Joe.

Oh, I do remember him. Yeah, kind of skinny? Yeah, that guy. Who's the other guy? I don't know the other guy. I mean, Joe Exotic's got to be loving life and hate in life at the same time. He continues to stay famous, but he can't do anything with it. Well, he's in jail, so he's not loving life.

But I'm saying if you're in jail, this is the best news to have while you're in jail. I guess. Right. He's like, wow, famous, but here I am. But I can't enjoy it. That's my point.

Like, if you're in jail and everything sucks, at least you get some news of, wow, I can't believe people are caring about my story. And then I'm famous out there. And he has to feel a sense of importance. It's probably mailing him letters. People are sending him letters all the time.

So for jail, I bet it's pretty cool. But for life, I bet it sucks. Yes. I wonder if they have to put him in, like, you know,

solitary stuff, like if people are trying to beat him up more than that he's famous. but I don't know his situation. I don't know if he already had to be kind of put in his own room. I don't know what they do in there, dude. What do you mean? In jail?

Yeah, in jail. But you always hear that, though. Like, I always wonder, how do they know who everyone is? Like, I guess they keep up with the world and watch the news, huh? Or they have phones. And just tell them like, hey, Tiger King's coming to your jail. Kick him. Yeah.

Or they talk to somebody on the, or somebody comes in from out. Oh, and educates everyone? And it's like, hey, this guy's freaking Tiger King. it's a crazy story that's cool that sounds cool because she went to University of Florida and it got so bad because back in the old version of American Idol

they'd make fun of people and she's a great singer but because she was blonde and from Florida they kind of turned her into this character and they weren't good to her interesting

she talks about that and then she talks about when Tim Tebow called her and was like hey I know we're in all these groups together, these like leadership groups, and I saw this, and just listen to it. So that's on the Bobbycast. I'm telling that right, Mike? That's right. That'll be up a little bit after we finished the show today. I'll also say this, that our Pimp and Joy stuff, it's up. We put a new line of sweatpants. What is left? Well, there's still sweatpants because

we started to think those might get popular, so we ended up making a little bit more. Some of the other stuff, we just weren't able to, we can't make more. And I feel bad because some stuff is totally sold out and it sold out super fast like the popular new maroon tie-dye collegiate. And I'm getting messages from people that are upset, which I feel really bad and we'll try to make more. But just know that you can still, there's other stuff up there that we restocked that we've been sold out of for a long time, like some camo items that are unisex. And so people can check those out and then just feel good about whatever you do get because

is I've done that before and I guess it was a gift and the person didn't know the Bobby Bones show and they looked at me like I was crazy but I would say nine times out of 10 it's normally a listener

and they're like, what up? This is so cool. Or maybe they just don't recognize me. I think that's it. I'll be at the airport. I'll be like, Pimp of Joy, what up? And they're like, hey, weird, no.

Stop yelling at me in the airport. Leave my shirt alone. It is fun. Like, we've had listeners, like, traveling the world, wearing their Pimp and Joy and, like, visiting Buckingham Palace. And they, as a tourist, and they look over and they see another tourist with Pimp and Joy on. And they've taken pictures in front of, like, historic landmarks and sent them to us. And that's just the coolest thing because our listeners are connecting because of a,

a movement and a shirt and, you know. I think it's cool when they, like, go to concerts, and the artist is always like, ah, I know, I know you, I know who you're into, I know how you listen to us, that's cool. Oh, yeah. Like, yeah, they'll tag different artists, too. We'll tag stuff.

I'm like, you're in Like a fun. The thing is... I started going any one of those from my house. Yeah.

I kind of thought. It can come in handy when I'm carrying a bunch of stuff up and down. Like, I think I can just sit it on the chair and, like, press it up and then it'll go up there. But I see my daughter totally being like, sweet. I'm no longer taking the stairs. Or, like, if my knees are bothering me, because sometimes they do, I can just take the chair. But I, just throwing it out there. Like, it could be a new...

A lot of our listeners are probably looking for electric chairs to go up their stair rails. But hey, other listeners that are listening to us, they may have parents that have to move in with them. And they may be a caregiver.

A bathtub the other night. I think I tweeted it maybe a couple weeks ago for really old people. It's the one that you kind of open the door and just walk in. Yeah. And I was like, that rocks. You can sit down. They can't like lift their legs up. Yes.

And it has you open the door. Then you get in and you turn it on. And then you have like this chair in there. You lay back. And I'm like, that's the most rocking bathtub I've ever seen. Did you buy it? No, because listeners started to say you had to let the water drain to open the door out. But then I thought, I don't really need the door.

I don't. I just step over it. Right. But no, I didn't buy it. And this is right before we started remodeling our two bathrooms, which we're doing now, which our house is just a mess. It's gutted. We can't even go on our bedroom right now. So we're in a guest room.

And how much longer are you going to live this way? They said about six weeks total. Because two at the same time flooded. Because the showers the other people had in this house before that we came in, I don't know what they were thinking. They were awful. And they were leaking into both floors so the floors are wet. They had to rip all the floors out.

I've been posting Instagram stories of it on my Instagram. Do you see the bathroom ripped out? No, I've seen it. It's a lot. So just dealing with it. And Arkansas Keith is here right now. And so we got two rooms that are being demo. and all day long you hear this.

Oh. That sounds like Lion King. Simba's there. Yeah, yeah. Do you watch Tiger Woods documentary? I did. Both things? I finally, yeah, I finished it last night.

Dude, it's so, so good. And I don't know if it's just the timing of everything with a car accident. But just to get a perspective of what this dude has gone through in the last few years. Or what he went through at the first few years? The very beginning of his life, even. Like, it's just a lot of stuff that I, you know, you read it. You read bits and pieces. But to see it all in like a, I guess it's a two-hour documentary, it's in two parts.

To see it all in two-hour documentary is really good to get a good idea of what he's gone through. I'd say it's about three hours total. I think each of them are about one and a half, maybe, sure. I just sent myself a note to do that. It's really good. It's really good. I keep forgetting. And like Bobby said, you know, the beginning, the first part's really a lot about his career, career.

But that's important because if it wasn't for that part in his career, him dominated. and being such a godlike icon in golf and in like just sports in general, I don't think the rest would have happened as bad as it did. But also how he got to the godlike status. From the very beginning. It wasn't really fair for him. He was kind of forced into that

and to live a life that he had no choices. Like to get to that point, you kind of feel bad for him because he had no other options. His dad was an ex-green beret, trained him in golf like he was in the military. It's, it's, I know. know it's hard to look at somebody who was rich and famous and go, I feel bad for them.

I felt bad for Tiger. It's almost like a breaking bad feeling as you're watching it. You're like, gosh, you know, it's like he's doing a lot of, making a lot of bad decisions, but I see where he started and I know kind of how he got there. Yeah, it's a good point because he's like, well, he had cancer. Talking about breaking bad. And you're like, he needed money. And you hate to see anyone going to make a meth, but you're like, oh, he needed money.

I mean, you're like, now I know how he got there. So in a way, it's like, dang. It's how you're going to grow up with a bunch of money But he's like you're like Oh, his dad's not treating him good He's making him play other sports He doesn't let him have He made him break up with a girlfriend

Yeah Yeah I mean that's I think that that's Learning the backstory of A lot of people I think is super helpful Especially high profile people Because then it gives you a different Level of compassion

For why Maybe you see certain headlines And instead of just judging like Oh my gosh What's wrong with him? I can't I mean that's really with everyone.

A wanted guy gives himself up after he can't take quarantining with his roommates anymore. He gives what? Gives himself up. He's wanted. Oh, he's like, I can't take it. Yeah. I'm going to jail.

He's like, this is it. Arrest me. He wants the other roommates. There's a guy who was wanted by the police. He turned himself in because according to police, he told him, I'd rather go back to prison that have spent more time with the people I'm living with. So he chose prisons, peace and quiet, over spending more time locked up with his roommates.

Is it peace and quiet in there? In prison? Yeah. I'm sure at some point, lights out. Oh yeah, lights out, can't make a peep. I think it's forced peace and quiet, but it is still peace and quiet. I do have one other thing here. It says Eddie wants to spill the tea.

I don't remember what this is because I think it's been written here for a couple days. Kind of thing, remind me. I don't know. I just wrote down Eddie spills the tea. I'm sure it's about lunchbox. I know. We can help you out with the head. It's always about lunchbox.

feet and the smell won't leave my feet now it's like permanently tattooed onto my feet so I scrub them, they still smell bad, and I don't have stinky feet. And so I either need to find a new pair of these. Can I put these in dishwasher with a lining? Ooh, good question. Oh, I think so. I mean, I think you could probably put them in the washing machine. I need to save them because I love them.

And I love putting them a four-wheel drive too. Because, you know, if you have a crock and you put that back flap up forward, when they're just slip on, that's two-wheel drive. When you put the flap over the back of your leg and you got it, that's four-wheel drive. I was walking in snow with them. Interesting. Well, that's probably when they got wet. You know what?

feel kind of damp, but maybe it's from, you know, sometimes I'll use a towel twice or whatever. Come to find out, he used my towel. And I just thought that that was so disgusting and not cool. and I think that I'm right and he thinks he's right because he's clean and he put the towel in his clean body

Yeah. And that's the last thing I dry too. Okay. I would say because of that, first of all, if there wasn't a towel on his pen, is he... I don't know what I had in ask. I don't know where he dried it. Even if it's on his leg up and down, I don't want that.

Let me ask you this. Are you the person, though, that does the laundry and puts the towels back up on the hooks. Yeah, I mean, or we fold them and put them in the drawer, yeah? Yeah, but are you the one that normally does that? So you're saying now, it's my fault because there was no clean towels folded. They're very defensive. And then put it back. The problem is he put it back on my hook. He should have moved it over to his hook or hampered it.

Okay. I agree with that. I thought it was just about him using that towel. No, he used a towel and then was like, oh, I'll put it where I got it. You think he was trying to pull one over on you? I think he just put it back. I think he didn't think it was that big of a deal. So the problem is this isn't the first time this has happened.

Clearly, this is the first time I'm learning of it because he did not think it was that big of a deal. And I feel as though I am right and he is wrong. I'm going to side with you. Thank you. But only because... This is official. Marriage court.

You can take it to him. This is for sure. This marriage court. He can use the towel, but he shouldn't have put it back up. Right. And you need to do the towels. Well, yeah, he can use my towel after me. If he wants to put me all over him, that's fine.

and she ended up staying with them for five days in their spare bedroom, which turns out when she wasn't able to return back to her apartment, she found out she had lost water, power, all the things. So actually being stuck at this family's house, total strangers to her again, she was just delivering their groceries. Act was a blessing in disguise because her place had nothing.

And, you know, I'm just so overly grateful for it, man.

It's something you never take for granted. Chris's got four number ones. And, you know, right now we're about to play. Yeah, your new song, call Waiting on Five. We're going to play a clip of that. But with waiting on five, kind of explain to me what this song's about. It's an ode to the American working class heroes, man, the men and women who get up and get it done. And, you know, they're waiting on a Friday night to get a good time going, which is primarily my fan base. It's your fan base. It's the

listenership. And, you know, it's a lot of the heartbeat of America. I'm from the heartland, just like you are. And I just wrote it for people like we grew up with, like people we grew up around and and things i've always written about things that i see feel and and places i've been and man that that is the real grit of what makes this country awesome and i love being around those people and i wanted to give them something that made them feel good uh it felt celebratory and you know waiting on five to get started on six whether that's to get started on a six pack if you're into beer drinking or whatever but even if you're not you're just waiting on the six o'clock hour to get off of work and get the weekend started.

That's what it's for, and it's, you know, it makes people feel good. I was able to play it live this past week, and just to watch the smile and expression on people's faces was the biggest highlight and joy for me about the song. And that's it, that was the whole premise behind it, and that's exactly the attitude and what I wanted to get across, and I'm just, I'm super grateful for it, man. To see a smile on somebody's face in this time and day, you know,

it's been a really hard year. So when you're able to at least provide a little bit of positivity, I think that's a blessing for everybody. And, man, it's tenfold coming back to me when I see the blessings and smiles coming off of people's faces. And so I hope that's what it brings. I hope it brings some joy. What was your last nine to five job? I've made no cones before for a living. I guess my last full nine to five job, though, was training horses and working in horse barns and Shelbyville, Tennessee.

and even in Franklin where I live now. I said when I was nine years old, I said I want to live in Franklin when I get big. And so I now live near one of the farms that I actually grew up riding horses on. But I was in the walking horses and all kinds of equestrian stuff growing up and spent almost every summer in Middle Tennessee.

And so I straight up had, it was longer than nine to five jobs, I'll tell you that. I transitioned into music full time, and then my nine to five job was Cutsis, and I played there for one year when I moved here, and it was an amazing journey in itself, you know, and that kind of ties into you brought up being a member of the Opry. Whenever I was invited to be a member by Keith Urban there,

you know, it was just 10 short steps across the alleyway to Tutsis from the Riemann. And so, you know, to come from where we come from, man, we've come a long way, and I'm just so grateful for those opportunities. There he is. How in the world did you accumulate so many followers on TikTok? Honestly, I don't know. I just started posting like emo covers and I think people started to like them. And so I just kind of kept up with it. And it's so fun for me because I love that genre of music so much. So I don't know. I kind of found like a little group of people that enjoy what I've been doing. So yeah.

So you're a country artist who also likes emo music. Yes, very much. Which isn't that weird anymore because, listen, when I grew up, I'm the first generation that was into everything because we had streaming. We had downloads, you know? And so now you should like a lot of other stuff. Do people give you a hard time for like an emo music and country? No, not really. I feel like that's been the one thing that's been really cool is that people.

are like, this is really dope. Like you're doing something a little different. And I feel like people that are my age, they've grown up listening to the same thing. So I feel like they've been really accepting of it, which is pretty cool. Where'd you grow up? I grew up, well, I kind of moved around a little bit. I was, we lived in Minnesota for a few years and then, but we moved to Pennsylvania when I was like 10. Yeah. Well, it brought you to Nashville. I was working at Texas Roadhouse in Lynchburg, Virginia, and I just, I wanted to play music so bad. And I had somebody reach out to me who is now, I guess he's my manager now, but he'd reached out to me and he was like, hey, I really think you should do this. And I'd battled him with it for, I don't know, probably about a year.

I was like, I don't have any money to go out to Nashville. I don't think I can do it. And then finally it was like, I'm really unhappy here. I don't want to work at Texas Roadhouse for the rest of my life. So I moved in 2017 in April. And I've been here ever since. Well, here she is. Taylor Acorn.

Where'd you grow up? I grew up in Greensboro North Carolina when'd you come to Nashville 2017 to go to Belmont just graduated. Hey! Music degree? No, our songwriting and then music business, yeah. So music-ish degree, right? Songwriting and music? What did you want?

Oh, why did you said music theory? Oh, no, no. I said, oh, no. I said, I said, I did, Bogle. Sorry, cat tongue. But you graduated a music degree? Yes, music degree, yes.

What's the goal for you? Just doing the songwriter artist thing and just, yeah, things have kind of taken off the past few weeks, so it's been kind of cool. So when did you get on TikTok? Like, maybe a month ago. Oh, maybe. Wow.

I know, and I don't even understand it. I don't really even know how to work the app, but it's crazy how TikTok works. but just an update about Lady Gaga's dogs. On Wednesday night, armed thieves shot Lady Gaga's dog walker and stole two of her French bulldogs. Fortunately now, the dog walker will be okay. But the dogs are still missing. There are no suspects. Gaga is offering half a million dollar reward

for the return of her dogs. So the name's Ryan Fisher. He goes out with three French bulldogs. Gustav Koji and Miss Asia around 9.40 p.m. The video's out now because most folks have a doorbell camera. And you see this small white car pull up right as the time he's coming out of the house. I mean, it was planned right down to the moment. Comes out of the house with the dogs.

They jump out of the car, a quick wrestle. Boom, boom, they shoot him. They grab the dogs, jump in the car, and take off. Gosh, crazy. They yelled, hey, give it up. But he wasn't going to give it up. And again, they shot him in the stomach with a semi-automatic handgun. So, again, I'll say he's going to be okay, which is crazy to think.

get shot in your middle body and be okay. He's recovering well in the hospital. She's gone. Like that wasn't her house that we're coming from. She's off working, I think shooting a movie in Rome. So she's gone and they tell her obviously she freaks out. She loves her dogs.

It wasn't just a dog napping. There's a gun too. So obviously now it's an attempted murder as well. So the end game here, which was what I was worried, like how much? You could sell a French bulldog for about $10,000 on the black market, the dog market. I don't know what that market will be. Underground. Dog selling.

Sure, but I'm saying it's like the black market, sure. But it's going to be tough to get out of this scot-free because if they don't have the papers, they can probably only get $4,000 or $5,000 for these dogs. Oh, wow. Which is still a lot of money. But maybe they know that if they can get money back from Lady Gaga. I don't know. I was thinking it's not like they can put in the description.

The internet got dumb for no reason at all. People started hashtagging not my potato head. Potato Head. So Mr. Potato Head, the brand, is just going to go by potato head now and be what they're saying is neutral. However, they didn't change Mr. Potato Head. There is still a Mr. Potato Head and they're still a Mrs. Potato Head. But they just want the overarching brand, the umbrella of it, and everything they make

under that brand to be potato head. Huh. Okay. Nothing changed. And people were like, we can't believe you. You haven't thought about Mr. Potato Head in 20 years and now you're getting butt hurt on the internet over it? I was watching everybody tweet out, making it political.

Oh, not my potato head. They literally didn't change Mr. Potato Head. Nothing about Mr. Potato Head has changed. Or Mrs. Potato Head. You can so buy both of them. But they just want all the products underneath the umbrella to be under the Potato Head umbrella, which probably would have been great to do forever ago.

Sure. From the beginning. So you didn't think it was just a Mr. type thing. But you would have thought on Twitter that they took scissors and just cut his wiener off in front of everybody. He doesn't have one. He's a potato.

Well, hopefully one of the new ones, they have that where you can, you know. Yeah, you can pop it on. I saw so much outrage over this. And I thought, you haven't, in your mind, even thought of Mr. Potatoa head in 20 years. People just look for reasons to be upset and to scream on the internet. And then also the louder you are about it, the more attention it gets. So if you really, I don't know.

Find something real to be passionate about. That way when you are loud. They literally didn't change Mr. Potato Head. And even if they did, who cares? It doesn't bother you. No, just don't buy it. It has no effect on your life. If you don't want it, don't get it.

Finally in the news, the ACMs were announced, the nominees were announced this morning. I'll read you some of the big categories. Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Thomas Redd, and Chris Stapleton. And in case you're wondering, there are two big award shows. There's the CMAs and the ACMs. So you may hear like, well, we just had an award show in November. Different award show. There are two big ones.

I mean, heck, when I was in a school talent show, we played CCR as our talent, you know, our little school band. And so we're playing on the jukebox and they're dancing. They start dancing. But we went around yesterday.

I took him to the Country Music Hall of Fame, which is great. Took him to the Grand Ole Opry and toured him around the Opry. And he's just like in Hogg Heaven. It's like we went, we ordered some food. We watched four episodes of Breaking Bobby Bones, which aren't out yet, but I have them. And he loved those. Oh, what happened? How did that go?

For him? Well, we were just going to watch two because they're half-hour episodes and I was like, man, I don't want to sit in here and watch me for an hour or for any more than an hour. That's, you know, I only watch me for an hour. Yeah, yeah.

Even in the mirror. I'll only stand there and look at myself for an hour at a time. But we watched two of them and he was like, man, I didn't expect this to be so good. You got any more? And so I was like, yeah, we'll do one more.

We did another one. He got any more? You didn't expect for it to be good. Well, I didn't expect to him. Yeah, that's cool, man. So we did that and went to bed. I think him and Kaylon are breakfast right now. So it's been great.

So that's all. That's awesome. I love it. I'm not drinking coffee anymore as in I haven't been having these stomach issues. And in my, this food allergy test that I took, it said that I was really allergic to coffee. So even when I drink a tea and I put like espresso in there, because I hate it. But I'll do it to kind of give me some energy in the morning. I think it's really messing with my stomach.

So I'm doing no. coffee at all, and I've been drinking sugar-free Red Bull, which is not better. That is weird. Weird substitution. Interesting. It's not good for me, but it's also I'm not allergic to it. Because they didn't test for that stuff. They don't have a Red Bull test.

The ingredients that are in there, I don't think they test. Well, my stomach has a hurt for three days. Oh, okay. So then maybe you found out what it was. So it definitely could be that. I've got to find a way to not drink Red Bull anymore. I drink about a half of a sugar-free can in the morning. Do you crash?

No. Oh, okay. I used two back in the day. At Starbucks, my new thing, is it called a London fog. Do you know what that is? No. Tell me more. I didn't either. But Caitlin's like, if you're going to find some kind of caffeine, so it's like a, it's a gray tea.

What do they call it? Earl gray. Earl gray. Yeah. With vanilla in it. And the gray tea has a little bit of caffeine, so you kind of got to double up on those. Come on. But it's pretty good.

Sounds good. Kind of my new drink at Starbucks. What's it called London Fog? London Fog, and then I get like, It has vanilla in it. That's what makes it good. So that's kind of my life right now, guys. I guess it's that acid in the coffee maybe.

I don't know, dude. That's awesome, though, that you found out what it was. I don't know for sure. It could be one of the many things, but my allergic list is heavy. My food allergy list. There's like 40 things. No tuna. No sweet potatoes.
