The Bobby Bones post show pre-show.
I was reading this story about astronauts
being put in the hibernation, and it
can actually help them when they travel.
And I would love to be put
in hibernation. Like a bear?
Just for a couple reasons. I've often
wondered why we can't shut ourselves down when we're sick and let our bodies heal instead of having to
be awake while it's happening? Like is there not, you just get into a machine. You freeze. Like Han Solo.
And you come back whenever you're well. How amazing would that be? Scientists are working and they believe
now that putting astronauts in hibernation during space travel is actually not so crazy. And it could lead to
them sleeping through much of the 180 days it would take to travel to Mars, for example.
Oh, wow. This whole space, I love time travel. And I was, do we talk about it on the show? Time travel?
forward and backward in the difference?
Or I just read about that.
You didn't talk about it here.
Oh, man.
I went down to a deep, right.
I love the idea of time travel.
There's a scientist now that goes,
oh, I think I figured it out,
at least going forward.
Flux capacitor?
Mm-mm.
Nothing like that.
It's literally traveling the speed of light
as a human up above
and how it's a relation of time traveling that fast
versus the time on Earth.
And you could spend like two days
traveling that fast in space
and come back in its 10 years later.
so it would be like a hack to traveling in the future,
but time's just moving differently based on where you are.
I'm sorry.
Well, and then...
I don't understand.
Whatever.
Love it.
I love that idea.
And eventually they're going to figure that out, right?
And there's also...
No.
What do you mean eventually they're going to figure out time travel?
Okay, here's the thing, though.
What are you talking about?
Here's the thing.
If you would have said in the 1700s that eventually they're going to get someone to fly to the moon,
that's more realistic.
No, it's not. Nothing is realistic until someone actually edges up to it.
Like, nothing is realistic.
Stop it with a time travel.
When you're talking about is traveling with, Bobby, just clarify.
You're talking about traveling.
An airplane to fly, even an airplane for people in the 1400s
to think you could get some metal and have metal.
Sure.
If you see a bird do it, it can happen.
It's just figuring out different science is all it.
What?
Question.
The fact that you guys will eliminate things you have.
The fact that you won't even answer my question.
I'm just, I'm so.
on tilt right now that you guys won't even entertain the idea of something.
Just because it doesn't happen now, it doesn't mean it can't happen then.
Go ahead.
So I understand if you're traveling at a certain speed, it seems like super fast for you.
Meanwhile, 10 years back here on Earth, right?
So when you come back, boom, it's been 10 years.
But that's then where you are.
You can't go back in time.
That's true.
Okay.
So far.
Clarifying.
But in this same article, the guy had written that, Theobos,
theoretically because you can bend space,
because it happens at times with these supernovas and space does bend.
And he's like,
you should be able to do this theoretically to go backward,
but he doesn't know how that loop works.
He thinks you can take time and make it a loop instead of being linear.
Regardless, I love.
Oh, here we go.
Thank you very much.
Oh, great.
You got a whole article.
Astrophysicist Ron Mallet believes he's found a way to travel back in time.
The tenured university physics professor said he has,
in a scientific equation that could serve as a foundation for an actual time machine.
He built a prototype to illustrate the key component.
And a lot of people are like, I don't know about this.
But you need to know the basics of Einstein's theory of relativity, which says that time accelerates
depending on the speed at which an object is moving.
So time moves faster or slower depending on how fast you're going or how slow you're going.
And so based on the theory, if a person was in a spaceship traveling near the speed of light,
time would pass more slowly for them than it would someone who remained on Earth.
So you could zip around space for less than a week and come back in Earth.
10 years have passed.
You with me?
Kind of.
Okay.
Yes.
So, it's not, you're not traveling time and you get in a machine, it just zips, but time
is affecting you differently.
So it's a week up there, but it's 10 years down here.
Wouldn't it be like when you come back, you're like, hey, dude, that's crazy.
You were gone for like 10 seconds.
How do you go back?
You don't go back.
That's the thing.
You move forward in time.
There's not, he's not saying there's a backward way yet.
But like, if you're up there for a week traveling, like, do you need 10 years?
worth of food and stuff?
No, only a week.
So when you come back, everybody you knew back then is...
Ten years older or a day.
Have you aged a lot?
No, it's only a week.
Let me sleep on this. Let me sleep on this.
My whole point of this is because you can't see it and understand it doesn't mean it can't
happen.
Because again, if you ask a Viking about getting in an airplane, not a Minnesota Viking,
but someone who's landing in Norway or in a boat for three months, but you're telling me
you can get across the world in an airplane in 14 hours,
that would be so mind-blowing to them,
they wouldn't think the concept would be real.
All I'm saying is that.
So either, and here are the two options,
either science continues to progress to the point
where we do figure out things like time travel
or the earth ends.
There's no two ways because you keep learning.
With experience comes more learned.
With more learned comes more experimentation.
You figure out what works, what doesn't work.
You continue to grow.
So you grow into a point of destruction or you grow.
And eventually, listen, eventually the earth's going to be dead anyway.
It's not going to be out forever.
I believe that.
So you learn into, once in second grade, I want a theory competition because I had the, and again, I was in second grade.
So right now I look back at it and it wasn't the greatest theory ever.
But my theory was, they were like, come up with the new scientific theory.
This is the second graders.
But it was in my GT class, which meant, do you get into talented?
Oh, gifted and talented.
I was part of that.
Oh, you want.
So I went to GT and they were like, come up with a new theory.
And I said, okay, well, my theory is if, and I'm going to tell you this,
and it's not something I would do now because it is trivial for an adult to think this.
But my theory in second grade was that if numbers go on forever, if they're infinite,
then every number is named after something.
There's a number named Eddie.
There's a number named Pizza Roll because if it goes on for infinite amount of time,
eventually you have to use every constant, every sound with each other.
I've won first place.
That's a great theory.
It's true.
I was in second grade
and I was like,
people think this,
I was always told
I was stupid.
I was always told I was,
or I was so weird
for thinking things
that other people couldn't think.
And for a lot of my early life,
I thought I'm just a weird kid
that no one likes and I don't,
I don't fit with anybody.
Then I started to realize
I was different.
And if people wanted to say
I was weird, that was okay.
I just thought different than they did.
And so,
but I did,
I won a freaking,
$50.
Wow.
Wow.
Yeah.
And for me,
a 50 bucks in second grade,
Yeah. That's a lot of money. That was crazy. Anyway, I get real excited about reading stuff like that.
Because they could be absolutely wrong. But let's say you test it and it's wrong. You've also learned what doesn't work. Let's get you closer to things that do.
Yeah. Let's build that rocket ship that goes that fast first. Baby steps. I hate. No, I'm just, bones, the thing is like, yes, you see stuff. Like, you watch a lot of movies.
I don't watch many movies. Hold on. This is crazy, right? Like crazy. And then yes, a lot of stuff does.
happen. But time travel to me
is one of those who are just like, okay, this is one that...
What about a movie being made? Think
about you go to someone in 11 AD
and go, we're going to record this stuff. They weren't
thinking about it much. But I'm saying it would be
absolutely out of the realm of
even possibility because
that you were nowhere close to it. So what do you,
why would that even the same thing?
No, I get it. Like the internet, I still
don't understand how it works.
We're going to play this clip back in 20 years
and it'll be how people talked about the 90s.
Yeah.
Oh.
So you think we're going to travel time in 20 years?
No, but I think eventually we'll either travel time or Earth will explode.
In 20 years?
No, eventually.
Earth will explode.
We'll figure out of time travel.
Yeah, I get that.
Because you keep learning until you're destroyed.
That's it.
Organisms keep going forever as they learn and grow and figure out how to survive until they don't.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
I'll love it.
You just did a...
That felt good.
I love it.
my therapist sometimes will be,
and I don't get to see her for a case.
Wait, wait, you talk to her about this?
Well, I get real theoretical in therapy.
And I don't even talk about me specifically,
but I'm like, if one were to think,
and she's like, stop, stop.
She's probably like, shut up.
Like, let me talk.
She's like, I'm glad there's not two of you
in this doing a couple.
I love it.
I love concepts that I can't understand.
I love trying to understand things I can't understand.
And then understanding that I'll never understand it,
but what I do understand is that just because
it's not happening doesn't mean it can't.
So you should love love because you don't understand love.
I don't love anything I don't understand.
Oh, I thought you just said you loved things you don't understand.
But I love to not understand them and understand that I can't.
Oh, wow.
No, not wow.
The way you guys are looking at me, the way I was looked at it through, like, first through fourth grade.
I'm so lost.
I love how you, I mean, you really do understand us.
No, no.
What?
Understand you?
Oh, yeah.
When you said not the Minnesota Vikings, I was just like, dang, I was thinking Minnesota Vikings.
I was like, to be clear, I was not.
I was picturing a legit Viking.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
I'll say this before we jump.
It's Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Yes.
Shout out to all of the national law enforcement.
Whatever you are, you're protecting me.
Like, you don't have to do that.
You could have picked 10,000 vocations.
And instead you picked to sacrifice your time and body and health and heart and mind
and even the people that are with you
and because they always got to worry about you too,
like I could not be more appreciative.
So,
um,
see a police officer any day,
but again,
it's hard to go all the time and say,
everybody all the time do this.
So just,
I'll say today,
if you see someone today,
say what's up and,
and thank you.
Um,
I went to the Razorback basketball game
Saturday of last week and
I was a police officer on the court.
And I was like,
hey,
appreciate what you do.
He's like,
hey, thanks.
And, uh,
he was like,
I know you do it because I listen to the show and
hear you talk about it all the time. And I was like, well, good. I just, I appreciate you.
You know, protecting us. And we're walking out. And my friend Adam and I couldn't get an Uber
because we're at the game. We had to walk like five blocks and it was cold. And he's like, hey, I'll take you.
So he took me, we got into this police and he drove us up and took a store where we needed to go.
You said shotgun or in the back? I said shotgun. Oh, that's cool. And then Adam was in the back?
That's awesome. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So there's that. Okay. I've never been in a cop car. Was that cool?
is a cop truck
Oh
Like a SWAT truck?
Like, do criminals get in?
I guess anybody didn't get in they want
Patty wagon
I'll tell you one final story
for I have to go
They say guys have just as many
body issues as women
A new survey found that more than half of
American men are ashamed of their body in some way
Which is very close to what women do
Do you want to see a picture that my therapist
I know I'm really talking about it, but maybe she sent me this picture
Of?
Of what?
Well, she sent me this picture
and said
this picture reminds me of you
and it just has to do with the story.
So y'all text?
She sent me while I was there.
Well, she had my number.
Yeah, I see it.
That's your body dysmorphia.
It's a banana, a perfectly shaped banana
looking in a mirror.
Yellow banana.
A yellow banana.
But in the mirror, the banana's all bruised
and beat up.
Brown spot.
Oh, wow.
The banana doesn't see itself
as everyone else sees it.
And so she said,
I came across this and wanted to send it to you
because this is you.
And I was like,
Well, that's nice.
And sadly accurate, probably.
And I don't think it's just body.
I think it's like a lot of stuff.
But she's like, this reminds me of you.
You're the yellow banana.
Stop thinking you're the beat up banana in the mirror.
Yeah, I think that represents more than body.
But for you in particular pertaining to that article,
there is some body dysmorphia.
Oh, you think so?
Yeah.
But it is interesting to see that men, it is more acceptable, I guess,
or assumed that women can have it.
And not many men are vocal.
about the struggles they have with their body.
Because it's not accepted.
Because it's not accepted.
Yeah.
Okay.
And I think that's going to wrap up the post show.
If anyone else like to have.
And listen, I'm not even a super science.
I'm not science guy.
I just am guy of new possibility.
And let's,
man,
I could go on for an,
and not even about science.
I mean, we have come up with some really cool stuff.
Even about technology,
whenever we started doing this radio show,
and some of you in this have been with me long enough,
have to know. They were like, you're going to put your stupid show on the internet? Like,
why would you even promote that? And it was like, I'm 22 and 22 year olds. Listen to, we,
no, this is stupid. It never work. Never work. Never work. Never work. Internet's not you.
Not. I was doing the middle finger thing where you roll it up. Where did that come from?
I don't know. It's so funny. But you do the roll up and then slowly the middle finger comes out.
And I don't even flip people off. But it's always my, we do the perps half of it.
And I'm like, oh yeah, let's movie roll this middle finger up.
Thank you.
You know what? I tell you one other story.
The nicest thing was written about me.
And mostly people in the industry don't write nice things about me.
They don't write mean things about me, but they don't write nice things about me.
And this writer named Rob Wagman, who writes for all access, which is a really big radio industry site, had written this article.
and the whole basis of the article was
you need
and this wasn't about me
the article wasn't about me
he just referenced me in a really nice way
and I wanted to say thanks to him
but he said
the article was about
there was a football player
he was 40 years old
he got his first playoff game ever
and so it was a big deal
he was like you need these kind of players
on your team
they're not the ones that are looking for the glory
all the time
they're the hard workers that show up
and so they
I wish I could find this
Eat him up, cats.
It's Josh McCown, right?
It is Josh McCown, yeah.
Yeah.
You see the picture, by the way, of his daughter going to school, and it was Jersey Day, and she had
like eight friends, and they all wear in all his jersey.
Oh, that's cool, because he played for like 10 teams.
And he didn't have enough, she didn't have enough friends to cover all the jerseys.
Wow, that's hilarious.
Yeah, he went to my school.
I went to college with him.
I didn't know him, but he was there when I was.
Did you think about walking on while he was?
You're making fun of me now.
No, no, no, no.
But yes.
He was the reason why I thought, like, because they were a really good team.
And I was like, and if I walk on, I can be part of that crew.
You can be part of Josh.
And Josh McCown's National Championship.
So he played at 40 for what team?
The Eagles, just this last weekend.
But Amy, he was an Aggie, and then he transferred to Sanis and State.
Okay.
Well, I don't even know how to, okay.
Do you guys use your Facebook app?
Mm-hmm.
I don't even get on Facebook.
I don't even have the app on my phone.
And now I'm trying to find it for something I saw on my computer.
I guess I go on my computer, but.
I don't know.
Mike, can you, can you, huh?
All right, whatever, screw it.
It's going to be a good story if I could find it.
Maybe I'll do it a different day.
Screw it.
Nice article, though.
It was a good article, and I really wish I could have, he found it.
Oh, this is what he said.
And again, it wasn't really, I just, the fact that you put me in this category,
he goes, the whole title of the article is,
you could only dream of having a career like Josh McAllen.
And because the guy was a grinder and worked,
and you need these people on your team.
And so he goes, when I think of celebrated names in our industry,
from Howard Stern to Ryan Cicrest,
now we now add Bobby Bones to that list,
what we realized quickly is that very few end up having a career like that.
And that was really all it said about us,
but just to be put on that radio list with those guys,
I was like, dang, that's real, that meant a lot to me.
That's super cool.
Yeah, right?
Yeah.
Now if I could only get Howard Stern to recognize my existence, that would be cool.
He knows who you are, right?
Yeah, he's talking about you.
He doesn't make fun of me.
Yeah, yeah.
He knows who you are.
All right, that's the deal.
Thank you for finding that, Mike.
We're done.
Thank you.
And I think that's it.
Everybody good?
Yep.
All right.
Peace out.
Goodbye, everybody.

I don't do it anymore
I used to. We first started the show.
I would sing with everybody.
But then our listeners didn't like it.
Then they didn't like it when Amy would do it.
So we just retired from singing with people.
Unless it's like a big group vocal.
And they invite us.
Then we'll come in.
If it's not a big group vocal, we just kind of set back.
Like that time, Garth said, you guys take it.
And we sang Friends in Lo Place is a group song.
Yeah, totally.
That's a group song.
But she'll be in later and that'll be fun for us.
Let's get started now and see what's happening with everybody as we do.
What's the Haps?
Hey, what's the Haps?
What's the Haps with you?
Well, I kind of have a new
A new Bobby cocktail I have at night
Well, like a, but do you mean a mocktail?
Yeah, sure, whatever.
But here's the question I have.
Have you developed a taste for something later in life
that you didn't have for the first part of your life?
Because what I'm having every night now
is I take and I fill the cup up with ice
and then I take Waterloo sparkling water,
which is my favorite sparkling water.
I get like watermelon and I pour half of it.
And then I take grapefruit.
juice. And I mix it and do half grapefruit juice and mix it up. And it's fantastic. I hated grapefruit
my whole life. Yeah, I never been a fan of that. Me either. But I try to, and now I'm, sometimes
I'll drink grapefruit juice by itself. Really? But it's just weird because grapefruits and olives have
kind of come into my life in the past five years as something I now like. So is there anything that you
have developed a taste for that you just didn't like the first part of your life? I mean, I never was a fan of
steak ever. I mean, my family eat, like my dad would like to cook steaks or everybody in my family
ate meat. But I guess because I had an underbite, I couldn't chew it. So I just grew not to like it.
And then never ate it. And then I had a stint where I was vegetarian, kind of vegan for a little while.
And then now, now sometimes I like to eat a steak. It's weird. I like you to steak too.
Stakes are good. It's real weird. I mean, I have to dip it in ketchup, but.
Yeah. That's a, that's from Arkansas ketchup.
So I'm sure
A Finn's steak
Chefs everywhere
But I don't care
So I guess that
That would be something
That's very new for me
That I did not used to eat
Well I have my sparkling grape food
I've had it like the last four nights
Love it look forward to it
It's my chill drink
It takes the edge off
Yeah well my cat
Takes the edge off
There's no
There's no alcohol in it
But anyway that's what's happened with me
I had four of them yesterday
So I've already
Yeah I got a little too
I'm not having a little too many now.
Oh, dude. No, I got to go to GA.
Great Food Anonymous.
That's my What's the Haps.
Hey, what's the hat?
Amy?
Well, I had to, I was a porch pirate, I guess, you could say.
You know what those are?
It's someone who steals packages from other people's porches.
That's it.
And I don't know if my neighbors have cameras.
I don't know what they're going to think.
But I just need them to know that it was my package that accidentally got delivered to their porch and I was not stealing from them.
But I was waiting for something.
And I got the email delivering.
confirmation and it said your package has been delivered. I open up my front door, no package. So I'm
like, oh my gosh, and it's something I really needed. So I went on a mission and I thought,
okay, this happens, stuff gets delivered. So I went around to different neighbors' porches. And the
second house I went to, there it was, my name on the box to my address, but for whatever reason
they dropped it off on that porch. And I grabbed it and I took it and I left. So I kind of felt like I was
stealing, but it was mine. I had groceries delivered to my house. One of
my neighbors had sent groceries from Whole Foods.
They do it?
They do.
Like if there's an Instacart, yeah.
There are two bags of groceries on my front porch and I walk out and I'm like,
well, I didn't order that because there was like adult fancy stuff in there, like grapefruits.
And so I didn't take, I was like, what do I find a neighbor and take?
I didn't know whose house it was.
So I just shut the door and let it sit there.
And then I looked out a couple hours later and it was all gone.
I guess they had noticed.
They figured it out.
What would you have done?
Would you have taken it to a neighbor?
Or just act like you never saw it.
How do you figure it out?
Have it had grape fruits now?
No, I'd have great words out.
I would be like, oh, who gifted me all these groceries?
This is amazing.
I don't have to go to the store.
It had like parsley and stuff, and I would never.
You're like parsley in a grocery bag.
You're like, if there's no hamburger helper and there, it's not mine.
What's the haps?
Hey, what's the hat?
Lunchbox?
Oh, all the last year, I collected loose change when I was out in public.
I'd walk around.
I'd find pennies, quarters on the ground.
I'd just put it in a jar because I wanted to see how much change you really find in a year.
And I finally counted it the other night.
I found $38.33 in one year just in public.
So that tells me there is money everywhere.
If you guys look around, there is money at your feet and money to be had.
I found $533 pennies.
$15 of dimes in one year.
Did you roll it up?
I guess you don't have to do that anymore.
You got a coin star.
No, CoinStar charges you.
You take it to the bank for free.
But I sat there and counted it on my counter all by myself and just boom, stacked it all up.
It was amazing.
I just, I don't even know that I found a penny.
Yeah, because you're not looking.
I'm telling you, just look down every once in a while.
There is money to be found, people.
It's a $38.
So you made it about three bucks a month.
That's pretty good.
Yeah.
I pick up a quarter.
I pick up a dime.
When it gets to the pennies.
Oh, you leave them there?
It's too, I don't like pick it.
It's gross, right?
Like, money's gross anyway.
So I have to weigh what disease I'm willing to get for the amount of money I'm going to pick up.
Or if I can wash my hands soon.
And a quarter is totally worth it.
Quarter's worth it.
Yes.
I'll get Ebola for a quarter.
order. And I think a lot of people drop dimes thinking their pennies and they're like, oh, I'm not going to pick up a penny.
Because I can't believe I'm $15 worth of dimes. There you go. What's the haps? Hey, what's the hats? Eddie,
I'm on a mission right now because over Christmas we got our kids some bikes. And the two little kids, they have training wheels on them.
And now every day I go home when they come home from school, I'm like, all right, guys, we're going to practice because these training wheels are coming off in one week.
I don't think we're going to hit that weak deadline,
but we're on a mission to get those training wheels off quick.
Are you okay to let them wipe out and wreck?
No.
I'm kind of scared.
So we took the training wheels off yesterday,
but I held them through the back,
you know,
the back of their shirts or whatever,
and they just kept falling over and over.
And I was like,
hey, man, if they fall over,
they may not want to get back on the bike.
But, okay, you're right,
if they're going to wipe out hard,
but eventually you got let the little baby bird fly.
Yeah, so I think I'm going to do the weak deadline
and then, all right, guys, let it rip and let them fall.
Well, why don't you?
you walk with them and then let go a little bit.
Yeah. And let them fall in the grass first. When I was a kid, my dad would take me in the grass first.
And you fall in the grass, you get used to falling, and you get better, and then put them out on the street with training wheels.
That's a good idea, actually.
I did I get a text here that said, did Eddie get the Tom Brady jersey for his foster son?
I did. And you mentioned that. I did. You did. Yes, I did. I got it. I felt like it was an important thing to do for his first Christmas. And he loves it.
Still wears it every day. All right. That's what's the haps.
Hey, what's the hat?
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
I was bouncing back and forth last night between the Arkansas basketball game.
Real good game. We didn't win. We played at LSU.
Shout out LSU, they played really good.
And I was watching the Jeopardy Night 2.
And so Ken Jennings won the first one, and the James Hallsauer, the sports betting guy, won the second one.
This other guy, though, has no chance.
No chance.
No chance.
There's three of them.
it's a two-person race.
This other guy is no good.
Oh, man.
It's really good against normal folks,
but when it comes to, like,
King Dinglings of Jeopardy,
I kind of feel bad for him.
So I watched that last night.
I just have a hard time sleeping
after I get so into these basketball games
or a football game.
I struggle.
My heart's like this.
And this game went down to the very last play of the game.
And it's funny, it ends at 10,
but to us, it's like, whoa, man,
you have to be that late.
We don't have normal hours.
Yeah, it's super late.
Because I'm down at 8.
You need to try some breathing exercises after a game.
I used to try to meditate.
I would sit on the edge of my bed because a lot of my friends will meditate just to try to silence everything out.
And as soon as I start silencing things, all the parts of my life come seeping in that I just haven't spent attention to.
So I'm just like work, dog, Arkansas.
Like I have my things that I'm really dialed in on.
And then once I food, you know, I'm trying to eat right.
but once I meditate
like all the stuff that I don't address starts
maybe that's a good thing.
I have a friend that teaches meditation.
She's like, you should come.
I was like no, because then I'll just think you're judging me.
It's like this.
I've never been to a strip club in my life, right?
Never been.
Not against it.
It's just not for me.
Don't know what's happening over there.
But friends of mine will be like,
you should go at least once.
And I go, you know, no,
because you'll all watch me.
You'll all be watching my first time.
You'll be, the whole name of the game will be, let's do what Bobby does.
It's why I don't drink.
And if I did, I would probably do it either alone for my first time or with like one person.
I wouldn't go out and just party because the whole night would be focused on me having my first drink.
Right.
When I was at the beach, I go to bars.
And I used to be a little more self-conscious about ordering virgin drinks.
But I was at this beach restaurant and I order some kind of,
fruity island drink.
I'm like, I'll have this virgin.
And they bring it over and they give it to me.
And I go, smell it.
And it was just loaded with alcohol.
Oh, wow.
Oh, no.
And then I think if I would have had that drink,
would it just be,
I'm done.
That's just rock and roll, baby.
Because it would have tasted so good.
You would have been like,
because a fruity drink.
The taste wouldn't have affected me
because I taste good stuff all the time.
Oh.
But I like to have these,
I like to just withstand from things.
But once I have my first, does that open the gates?
And I'm like, woo, baby, let's go.
And you were on an island.
That wouldn't have affected it.
It wouldn't have?
None of that.
The only thing that would have affected it would be me going, well, I had one.
What's the difference in one and seven?
Right.
So, but I smelled it and I was like, hey, I don't drink.
Is this?
And then should I have gotten mad that they put alcohol in a drink I didn't ask for?
Yeah, that's upsetting because.
you did order it virgin and you, I mean, what if, okay, in your case, you've never tried alcohol.
That could ruin something.
Or even worse, if you were a recovering alcoholic and you tried to order a virgin and they send
it with alcohol, that could be really bad.
Well, what reminds me of that is there was a story about somebody going to a fast food place.
I forget which one it was.
And they ordered the vegetarian burger, the vegan burger, whatever that is.
And they gave them meat.
Yeah.
And they didn't know.
Did you see that story?
Yeah.
Now I think she's suing maybe?
She ordered one of the
Like an Impossible Burger, what are they called?
Yeah, Impossible Burger is one of the things that aren't real beef.
Did they decide if it was an accident
or if they did it on purpose to mess with the vegetarian?
It doesn't matter to me.
I know.
Well, I know, but I mean, I guess.
Should she, absolutely should be upset.
Yeah.
Should there be some sort of legal action in your mind?
Yes, you're, well, it's kind of, well, I don't know.
I just need an answer here.
Gosh, because alcohol and meat, those are things that are really important to people.
But sometimes you, you know, ask for no pickle and they give you pickle.
But I mean, no one's a pickle-eyed.
Like, that's a real...
Right, I agree.
So that kind of thing, no legal action.
But with something that people, like, important to people, like alcohol and meat, then yes.
Maybe you just get them like a year's worth of broccoli or something.
Community service or something?
A vegan's heartbreak had taken it eating the KFC's new plant-based burger only to realize it was,
a chicken fillet when they put it in the wrong box.
Oh.
So it was an accident.
Yeah, it's an accident.
But still, you have to, if you have an accident,
sometimes you still got to pay for that.
That's true.
Let's go talk to Jenny in Maryland.
Jenny, you're on the Bobby Bone show.
What's happening with you?
Hi, not much.
How are you guys doing?
We're pretty good.
What do you want to know?
I was curious how Eddie's resolution
went last year of getting out of debt
and if he was able to do it.
Yeah, so, I mean,
Basically a year ago, we all set our goals, which, by the way, I'm now coming with a real goal today.
Oh, good.
Today or tomorrow. I don't really do resolutions. If I do, I put them like the last quarter of the year before, and then they kind of reignite when the year hits. I'll give you mine a second.
But Eddie's last year was to get out of debt, at least to work toward it. Yes.
Because you were how far in debt last year? It started last year. We were about 20,000 in debt. I mean, this whole credit card debt started 40,000.
And so last year, the goal was we have 20 grand left. We're going to hit it hard and we're going to do it. And we're going to do it.
And with the way the numbers turned out, we could do it by the start of January.
Good news.
The end of December, right before Christmas, we wrote our last check to the credit card company.
And we're debt free.
Oh, yay.
All the way.
Wow.
That's awesome.
And you took on two foster kids?
Two foster kids.
And we did it because, I mean, that was part of it.
I told my wife, like, just because we're taking on these two kids, we have to just continue
on this on this road that we're on, just getting out of debt.
And we did.
And props to her, she's the one that does all the kind of the,
the paying the bills and all that.
And sometimes she gets a little sneaky and like,
we can't do it this month,
so I'm not going to put that much towards the debt.
But she kept going and we did it.
Last night I was giving Eddie a hard time about the basketball game.
We're talking, watching the Razorback game.
And he bet on Arkansas.
And he ended up winning the bet even though Arkansas didn't win.
And I was like, dude, at least you won the bet.
Like maybe I didn't win because Arkansas didn't win,
but he goes, well, it was $10.
And I was like, so what?
$10 is better than no dollars?
Yeah.
So it seems like his bets are a little smaller too.
You're just kind of betting to get the fill.
Yeah, it's entertainment for me.
I do $30 a month.
But it's funny because, like, really, when I win, I'm like,
woo, five bucks.
But again, you're not going to make money and change your life
and you're doing it for fun.
Right.
Hey, Ramundo.
Raymundo's our audio guy who's also into betting.
I hear that you really are DMing a lot of our listeners
asking them to get on this betting website so you can get free bonuses.
Yeah, it's, you shouldn't do that.
What you're talking about?
If you're signing people up, that's what they're doing.
They're giving you credit for doing that.
the website is. So you're going to our listeners through a direct message going, hey, sign up at this
website and put in my code. A lot of them listen to the sports podcast, so they're already
fans of sports and sports websites. And can't you just say that on your Twitter without
reaching out to them? I believe they'll ask me a question or something sports oriented, and then
that's when I hit them on the DM. And what do you say exactly? Well, I'm not cold calling, so I'll just
hit them right away and say, hey, I see you're interested in sports. Would you be interested in
this betting website? You don't work for the
betting website. Yeah, but he can get credit. And what kind of credit do you get? Like, how does that work?
Whatever they deposit you get. So $25, $50. It ends up adding up. And how much money do you think
you've made from people? In my heyday, when you were doing Dancing with the Stars and people were
betting on you, very informed and loving Dancing with the Stars, I might have cleared a thousand.
Wow. And then you can use that to bet yourself?
Absolutely. So if I reach out to listeners.
It's not a bad idea.
Okay, just...
Maybe you're on to something.
I would hate to see you get in trouble through corporate.
Yeah.
Because you're hitting up listeners going, put your money in something.
It's just a fine line to walk.
I can stop.
Just let a couple more come through.
Like ones that he's already sent.
Please let him do a couple more.
I'm just saying, just be careful.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I don't think I'm annoying people.
I haven't got a lot of pushback.
A lot of people are very interested in websites that you can place bets on.
I hit.
Ray up. I was like, hey, how can I gamble on what app? And he's like, well, it's still not legal in Tennessee
where we are. Some states there's sports betting legal. But then he goes, you can just get Bitcoin and
then you can change it over to euros. And then euros, what you can do is you can walk in and
exchange it for four hens at a hen house. Uranium. You can then barter for a boat and trade the
boat in. I'm like, I just want, if I want to bet, I just want to bet. And if I win, I get the
money. If I lose, I pay the money. Like Vegas. Straight up. But we don't have that.
We do. It's like, you can come from three hours of work.
and they'll get that that's not for me.
All right, it's same day, I'm telling you.
People don't just deal money anymore.
There's all different forms.
Leonardo DiCaprio was partying on a boat near St. Bart's.
When as he's partying, he got where there was a search on for someone who fell off of a cruise ship near him.
So he joined in and actually found the guy.
Amazing.
He found the guy.
Wow.
Jack.
Yeah.
By the way, the guy had been treading water for 11 hours.
Oh my gosh.
What?
Leo and his girlfriend, Camilla Marone, were on a boat when they found out there was an emergency search.
So they were like, okay, we're in.
The guy was an employee on a club med ship.
We got two drunk, fell overboard.
It was Leo's boat that Leo was on that found him.
The poor guy had been treading water for 11 hours.
You have to think about hour four of the water tread.
You're just never going to be found.
Right.
Oh.
I guess they can't hear you.
Are you yelling?
No way.
No?
It's a big ocean.
The ocean is so big.
I just don't know.
And the way, even the sounds of the waves.
Yeah.
I don't know how big.
Even when they do like searches, they have the aerial view.
Like you can't see anything down there.
It's like they really say needle in a haystack.
Oh my gosh.
Whenever I was scuba diving during the break, I, you know, you put the little mask on.
Which, by the way, scuba diving's fine.
But you're just on the surface, right?
I get so much.
I know sometimes I get excited and I go down a little too deep and water.
You mean snorkeling?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
See, I don't know.
even know the difference. I was like, oh my goodness, I'm such an idiot.
Snorkeling, thank you for correcting me. I was sucking in water like crazy, man. It was like I poured
a big thing of salt right down my throat. And so I'm going and they give you two signs.
And now I grew up on lakes like Washaw in Arkansas. And so I'm pretty good with water,
but salt water is a whole different beast in the ocean. And they're like, if you're struggling,
you take both hands and you wave them above your head. That's the sign of, but if you're okay,
you take one hand and you tap your head.
Well, they look very similar.
Yeah.
Okay.
And also, if I'm struggling and can't swim, why would I lift both hands out of the water?
I'm just going to sink quicker.
We should rethink that.
Because if I'm struggling and can't swim and I'm going down and I lift both hands and stop swimming,
I am probably going to go right to the bottom.
I think people don't realize that salt water, you float on salt water.
A little bit.
Yeah, you don't sink in salt water.
Oh, that's at least possible.
That's probably why, though.
Okay, but you can still drown.
You can drown usually by panicking or swallowing water, but you don't sink.
So a tip would be stay calm.
Yeah, stay calm and relax.

The Bobby Bones Show.
Big three stories.
Let's go over to our producer, Ramundo.
Ramundo, what you got over there?
In Royal Family News, Harry and Megan quit their senior roles.
They announced they're going to split their time
between the UK and North America.
They didn't even discuss any of this with the other royals.
In other news, in the Northeast,
they're bracing for their second winter storm in 72 hours.
The right side of the country is preparing for heavy rain,
snow, ice, careful on those roads.
And finally in sports, Tom Brady said on Instagram,
he has more to prove, so it sounds like he's back next year.
Jennifer in Arkansas is on the phone right now.
Hey, Jennifer, what's happening?
Hi, good morning, studios.
Morning.
Well, I have a question for you, maybe for some advice.
My daughter is 20 years old.
She has met someone online and has been talking about two months,
She was three months now, and he contacted me through Facebook and asked if he could come and surprise her to meet her in person for the first time for Valentine's Day.
How do I approach that?
Okay, well, first of all, what does your gut say when you see a picture of him on Facebook?
He seems like a pretty nice guy.
I have heard them talking over the phone.
Seems pretty normal, average guy.
I'm going to say first of all go with your gut about what kind of guy he is
because you'll start thinking about it and you'll go back.
But meeting online is nothing anymore.
It's just the way that most people even connect, period.
So if there's any stigma in your mind about ooh they met online, drop that.
That's the way most people meet right now.
So new people, even your new friends that you make any of me.
Most of them are probably people you meet and you follow on Instagram or somebody.
So remove that.
They've been talking for two months.
So he's probably not some guy from Nigeria trying to get your,
your daughter's bank account money or already made that move.
And if your gut says he looks like a dude that seems suitable, why not?
Why not?
What's it going to hurt?
She's also 20 years old.
If she was 15, it would be a different story.
Yeah.
How old is he?
I believe he is 20 or 21 as well.
Oh, okay.
I mean, wow.
I mean, most 21-year-old guys, I don't think that they would think they needed to reach out
to the girl's mom to see if they needed to come meet her.
All you can do is kind of weigh all of these facts
And it checks out to me
Because I'm assuming he's kind of a socially awkward guy
Would that be a comfortable assumption?
He kind of is as well
Yeah
And they're both probably shy
And he's trying to go
The right route in order to do things
The right most comfortable way
By reaching out to the mom
So I think that
She's 20
also she can do whatever he wants um yeah i say i say go for it i say my advice is based on what you're telling me
that it seems like a pretty comfortable match all right will you call and give us the update after
valentine's day let us know how it went i sure will all right we appreciate that hope you have a good
morning jennifer thank you you too all right bye she needs to not watch that show you yeah but again
that you guy was one really good looking
too seemed really normal it just seems like something i would like it just
like uncomfortable that don't really not know how to date going through all the extra steps to do it.
Right.
So I'm totally down for it.
Appreciate that call.
Shit.
Bobby Blum.
Morgan number two got a subscription to Disney Plus for Christmas.
Mike D.
got it for.
And you just watched your 15th Marvel movie?
Yep.
I'm on number 15.
Yeah.
That's what.
That's crazy.
That takes a lot of time.
And that's what you're, that's just what you're focused on right now, right?
Yeah.
Like if you have time, you're trying to.
Every time I sit down to watch TV, I watch TV.
I watch a little bit more.
So I'm just knocking them out as they go.
How many Marvel movies are there?
There's 23.
Wow.
And so you're at 50.
What did you just watch?
I watched Spider-Man Homecoming for the first time.
What did you think?
I liked it.
I only give it 3.5 out of five spider webs because in comparison to all the other Marvel movies,
it's just not as action-packed or as intense.
But I do like the Spider-Man character.
I know he's pretty iconic and stuff, so it was fun to learn more about him.
But he's 14.
And I'm like at 14 years old, becoming a superhero would be pretty cool.
Spider-Man Homecoming.
Is that the cartoon?
No.
He's 14 in the movie?
Yeah, or 15.
He corrects Tony Stark.
14 or 15.
I'm not 100% sure.
I thought that kid was in his 20s or something.
He plays younger?
Wow, I didn't know that.
So you liked it.
What was the movie again?
It was Spider-Man Homecoming.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.
Superman.
And then you're going to finish all of these.
Yep.
And go over to Star Wars.
Yep, those are my next one.
I'm curious about that because I've never seen the Star Wars.
And if you like it, I may dabble a bit.
Shut up.
Are you serious?
Well, maybe.
Okay.
That's just a lot of movies.
It is, but they're so good.
And your favorite one is so far?
So far it's been The Avengers.
Okay, I feel like that's like a greatest hits, though.
It's like going, well, you know, Garth Brooks is my favorite,
but my favorite record from Garth Brooks is the greatest hits at Central Park.
You kind of have to pick one of the project,
What would you pick individually as your favorite?
So like if I had to pick a superhero kind of?
And a movie.
Oh, ooh.
I think I would pick Captain America.
Wow.
It's newer.
Yeah, I didn't feel Captain America that much.
Mostly because...
You think he's hot?
No, they all are attractive.
All of them are attractive actors.
But he's just a really big leader in it.
And I like his backstory, how he was like the little guy.
That's cool.
Yeah.
And he became the big.
guy and now he's like defeating all these bad guys. I think that's really cool. Who is that Chris
Evan? Yeah, I think so. Yeah. I loved Iron Man 1. It was kind of the starter. I was like,
this is so good. And Robert Downey Jr. is a really good Iron Man. Yeah. On the phone right now is
Elliot in Illinois. Elliot, what's happening with you? Bobby Bones, let's go. Good morning,
studio. Morning. And Raymundo. Yeah. Oh no. This is going to be a thing. I can already tell.
going to call into the Ramundo Howl. Oh, no.
Oh, man. I'm such a big fan of you guys.
Well, I appreciate that. What do you want to say?
I just wanted to say I am so into movie Mike's podcast.
Like, there is not another movie podcast out there. I have served high and low forever.
I just wanted a good short, like 30-minute podcast that gives a good review of a movie that's out currently,
but also talks about old movies and other things he would recommend.
And there is nothing out there. So when I heard Mike saying he was going to do this podcast,
I was like, oh, please let this be good.
Please let this be good.
And I am into every single one of the episodes.
Mike, you do a great job.
It's a great thing to start my week off on Mondays.
And, yeah, I just recommend everybody listen to it.
It's great.
Well, I appreciate that.
So does Mike D.
Check it out.
You can just search Movie Mike's movie podcast.
Yeah!
Yeah!
L.A., appreciate that call.
Hope you have a great day.
Absolutely, yeah.
Big fan, guys.
All right.
Thank you, see you, bud.
All right.
And you're watching Spider-Man.
next Morgan or you did watch it?
No, I watched it.
What's next?
My next one is Thor.
I'm going to pronounce this.
Ragnerac.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's my next one.
Okay.
I don't even know what that is.
It's a Thor sequel.
Yeah, it's like the third one of the Thor installment.
All right.
She has Morgan number two with her movie review.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 32nd Skinny.
Blake Shelton and Gwyn Stefani will be performing at this year's Grammy Awards.
They will perform their latest duet,
Nobody But You.
The show airs Sunday, January 26th.
Dolly Parton shared on her podcast that she has tons of songs banked up for after she's gone.
She said there's enough stuff to go on forever with her music from stuff for
compilation albums to new and original songs.
Our IHeart Radio Music Awards return March 29th on Fox, and the nominees have been announced.

And up for country artists of the year is Carrie.
Underwood, Dan and Shea, Luke Bryan, Luke Holmes, and Thomas Rett.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
A man in Louisiana lost his wallet in a Walmart while he was shopping.
Now, he realized he had dropped his wallet in the parking lot of Walmart.
To make it worse, he had just gotten paid so he was filled with his paycheck, all his money he had cashed.
The unnamed man's father says his son went back to the store once he realized it was missing
and was shocked that someone had returned it
with all the cash inside of it.
A customer service clerk told him
an elderly woman brought it back
and it had $2,500 inside in cash
didn't take any of the money.
He tried to find the woman to thank her
but had no luck.
Quote, I think it's something
that needs to be expressed
and show there's still good people
out there in the world.
All that cash.
Wow.
Nice.
Wallet and cash.
How tempting is that?
And they didn't take it.
They didn't.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me's.
something good.
Bobbi Bones show.
Bonehead.
Norrie of the day.
This story comes with us from Flo Wood, Mississippi.
Two guys bought a lottery ticket.
They go home.
They're like, oh, no, it's a loser.
And then one guy's like, I got an idea.
They pull out a magazine.
They start cutting out numbers,
and they glue numbers to the lottery ticket to make it a winner.
Oh, my goodness.
Not knowing that it's the barcode that...
That's how they tell a winner.
Oh, no.
So they take it to the lottery office
and they try to claim $100,000.
ticket. I had this idea
when I was a kid. You know, when I was younger,
be like, why don't people do that? Like seven?
Then I realize it's dumb.
That's pretty funny. It's like a ransom note
with the letters. They're cutting out the numbers.
Wow. Oh, man. I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bowley.
So Elder versus Millennial. Eddie's the
elder. He's in his 40s.
40, 40. 40.
Morgan number two is the millennial. She's in her 20s.
So we'll just ask Eddie the young questions.
I'm sure the old questions.
Okay, all right.
Yeah, I love this game.
By the way, this course tied at two to two.
That's crazy.
Eddie, I have three questions for you that millennials would know.
Excellent.
You may not, but millennials all know these.
I have an 11-year-old, so I'm pretty hip to all this stuff.
But I don't think he's a millennial.
No, but he knows the young stuff.
Okay, I think.
Jomo
What?
Is an acronym that stands for what?
Okay.
I know what FOMO is.
J-O-M-O-J-O stands for what?
So the F-O-M-O is fear of missing out.
So the J-M-M-O must be the joy of missing out.
So you say the answer is
Joy of missing out.
That is?
Correct.
Yeah!
One, that's good.
See?
And I've never heard that before.
That was context clues.
The Lizzie McGuire reboot
Is expected at Disney Plus this year
Mm-hmm
Who plays Lizzie McGuire?
Hillary Duff.
Ooh.
Guys, I'm on fire right now.
Guess who has Disney Plus of the house?
This guy.
Oh, wow.
I'm a head out.
Is from a meme
featuring what cartoon character?
I'm a head out.
I'm a head out.
Doug funny.
Because there are Doug funny.
Mimes everywhere you go, right?
So stupid.
As soon as I said, I was dumb.
Morgan number two, you can steal this.
I'm going to head out.
Is a meme featuring what cartoon character?
Oh my gosh, I don't know.
Any guess?
Any guess it on?
Kermit?
No.
Solid guess.
A lot of Kermit memes, but they're the most
cartoon memes of Spongebob SquarePants.
There's a Spongebob meme for everything.
And he says, I'm going to head out.
Okay.
We're going to switch it up now.
Morgan number two, I'm going to ask.
You ask you questions from the elder group.
All right.
Morgan number two.
What cartoon character says,
I have the power
when he lifts his sword?
Um,
you know,
I don't know
the superhero, but
I'm going to guess Thor because I'm
watching them.
No, Eddie.
That's He-Man, bro.
Yeah, there it is.
Who?
Who?
Who?
Who is it?
What?
What is that?
Yeah, yeah.
Morgan number two
Yeah
Hello Newman
Is a catchphrase
From what TV show
Hello Newman
Were these all in the 80s?
No they weren't
All in the 80s
Hello Newman
He Man was
Yeah but not this one
This one borderline
I love Lucy
I don't know
That's like that 50 to 60s
That's like a kid who has no idea
When you were born
Because you were just like
He's like dad
Did you ever go watch the Beatles in concert?
My kids have done that to me.
Hello Newman was from Seinfeld.
Hello, Jerry.
And then Seinfeld started in 1989, but it didn't happen until the early 90s.
So that was the 80s.
No, early 90s when that one first happened.
Did you ever watch Seinfeld?
Maybe a few episodes.
Not really, not ever.
Yeah.
Okay, before she played Amy on the Big Bang Theory,
what 90s TV show did My Own Be Alec star in the NBC?
It doesn't matter if you get it right enough.
I know.
But someone on the show,
also went, whoa.
I know that reference, but I don't know what it's from.
Really?
Wow.
You're really struggling.
I don't know.
She doesn't even know.
These are hard.
Whoa.
The answer is, Eddie, you want to steal it?
Yeah.
Blossom.
I don't know what that is.
You didn't do it.
Here, let's run through the other ones.
Oh, gosh.
Who co-stars along Patrick Swayze in the 1991 action movie point break?
You should know this.
I should know this?
Yeah, yeah.
Is it a female or a male?
It's a man.
Eddie, you know it?
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Keanu.
Yeah, good.
What was the name of the space shuttle that broke apart 73 seconds into its flight?
Was that, um, the 11?
The, um...
Do you know it, Eddie?
Yeah, yeah, of course.
Yeah.
She's thinking of Paul 11, but...
Oh, it was.
It's the challenger.
Right.
Marky Mark was the stage name of what celebrity?
Mark Wahlberg.
Well, you had to go one.
Oh, good for you.
Eddie is our winner.
Play that song.
There he is.
There he is.
The elder wins again.
Eddie, you're up three, two.
I'm very wise.
This elder person of me.
Eddie, one more millennial question for you.
Come on, what you got to?
What was the name of blues original owner
and host of four seasons of blues clues?
Blues clues.
I remember that show.
Is that a dog?
Is that a dog?
Yeah.
Blues clues.
And the owner?
Is his name?
Jerry.
No, you know what, Morgan?
Is it Logan?
Steve.
Logan?
Is it Chad?
Is it Skyler?
Is it?
The story says if you talk to strangers, it actually makes your life better, not worse.
And they say, hey, you should just say hi to people.
It won't work every time, but a lot of times you get something from it.
So we've all been assigned to talk to a stranger every day for five days.
Amy, tell me your stranger story from yesterday.
Okay, so it wasn't out and about.
It was actually in my front yard because I hadn't found anybody to talk to yet.
And this one was walking by with her dog.
And so I use the dog as a conversation starter.
And I said, oh, such a cute dog.
and we started talking.
She's new to the neighborhood.
She's just renting from California.
And I feel like I helped her out
because she was hosting some people
and didn't really know restaurants in the neighborhood
and she needed a good recommendation.
So I told her where to go eat
and she appreciated it so much.
So it's cool.
What about a neighbor in your
little area where you live
that sent me an email about you that one time?
Oh, yeah.
I saw her outside the other day,
but I just kept driving.
Let me say this.
Let me just brief our listeners or what it happened.
One day we get this email from a listener saying that Amy is kind of rude and snobby.
And I tell you, she's the opposite of that.
Amy's the kindest person I know.
Of everybody I know, if there was a power rankings, it would be you and probably like Pope Francis.
Oh, stop.
That's not true.
Like Gandhi, retroactive.
No, no, no, not at all.
But in a nutshell, yes, that email.
And I think about that email every day because I'm on my street every day and she signed it,
my street name and all the moms that live on the street.
Like they're a game together.
All the moms.
And I don't even know that the other moms know that she wrote it, but she wrote it and said that they noticed me, ignore them, basically.
Have you ever talked to her?
No.
But you know who she is.
Yeah, because from the email, I was able to find out from Facebook, her name where she lived in.
My friend has this background checking app.
And I know all this.
I know everything about her, basically.
What's the app?
I need to download that one.
But you pay for it.
I don't know if it's an app, but it's a background checking thing that you have to pay for.
So she looked it up for me and I know everything.
and which feels weird,
but I feel like obviously now
how I look at is she has something going on in her life
and she took that on on me.
And I do think about it every day
because I mean I'm on my street every day
and I see different people walk by
and I'm like, I wonder if you're part of the mom club
that hates me.
I mean, I wanted to move.
But you haven't addressed it with her.
No.
Paul I knew.
Do you say hi to her when you walks by?
No, I haven't.
Point taken.
I have only seen her.
I know where she lives
and I have only physically seen her outside twice,
and I've been in my car driving,
and I'm like, what am I supposed to do?
Rolled on the window and be like, hey,
you send me that email and then I read it on the radio.
I'm like, that would just be bad.
Because sometimes I feel bad for putting it on the radio.
But anyway, lady with a dog could have been one of the moms,
but she wasn't, thank goodness.
I'll tell you mine.
I went to pick up a honey centrist mint tea
because that's my new Starbucks thing I'm getting right now.
Oh, mm-hmm.
I'm just trying new stuff because I have that app,
and I'm just fascinated with all the things
you can order on the Starbucks app.
and so I ordered a honey citrus mint tea with,
I'm looking at my order here,
one packet of honey.
And they'll still squeeze it in the cup for you too.
And so I go in and there was a dude sitting by himself
and I was like, well, there's nobody in Starbucks.
I'll go up and say what up.
And so I kind of walk up and say, hey man, how's it going?
And he didn't speak English.
Oh.
And that ended up.
There it went.
He was like, I don't speak English.
And I was like, all right, well, have a good day.
So I tried.
Yeah.
What did he speak?
I don't know.
He said, no English.
Oh.
Okay.
It wasn't Spanish.
It was Russian.
Oh,
it was like a, like a German.
It was like a hrha language.
So, I don't know.
Yeah, that kind of hinders the whole conversation.
I don't have you luck with that one.
Lunchbox?
Well, we had a doctor's appointment for, you know, to do a sonogram with a new baby.
And so we're sitting there in the lobby.
And there's a girl sitting next to me.
And I said, so I said, oh, hi, how are you doing?
How's the bun in your oven coming along?
And she goes, excuse me?
I said, you know, how far long are you in your pregnancy?
She's like, I'm not pregnant.
And I'm like, well, then why are you here at the doctor's office?
Well, you can't ask people their medical.
Why are you here?
Those are going to be awkward.
No, no.
I'm at the pregnancy place.
Like, that's what we're doing.
The sonogram place?
Yes.
And so I assume everyone there is pregnant.
Why else would you be there?
Well, apparently they do the check of the year thing, too.
Yeah, OV-T-Y-N, yeah.
I didn't realize that.
And so that's what that lady was there for.
Awkward.
Hmm, so weird that they would also.
I didn't know that.
I don't know if you were at like 3D baby or you were like at the gynecologist.
Well, I don't know.
I just go to the doctor and every time we go,
why are you here?
Show me what part they're going to work on on you.
Every time we go there, we see a doctor.
They scan the baby.
They show us images.
Did she even look pregnant?
No, I thought maybe it was early on in the pregnancy.
Like I said, I don't ask anybody.
I don't care where they are unless they're feeder in stirrups or the head coming out.
Just another person unless they bring it up.
I tried to be, because I wanted to relate,
oh, like our kids are going to be this many months apart,
but it was so awkward.
Eddie?
Mine was crazy, actually.
We might have made a friend out of this.
So I'm at my kid's ninja class last night,
and I have the baby,
and he's crawling around a little waiting area or whatever,
and he's playing with another baby.
And I see the mom come and take a picture of the two babies playing together,
and I go, whoa, sorry, I don't mean to have this conversation with you.
But my son's a foster son.
and I can't have you have a picture of him.
She's like, that's crazy.
My kid's a foster kid.
I wasn't going to post it.
I'm like, you're a foster mom?
So she's a foster mom.
But the mom of that, her baby is her sister.
So she's fostering for her sister.
And now my wife over her.
And she's like, oh my gosh, we need to get numbers.
And now, wow, wow.
They may be friends from now on.
Oh, that's cool.
That's great.
That was crazy.
Yeah, that's great.
Morgan number two, final one.
So I went to the mall and I was trying on some shoes.
And there was an older woman there.
and she walked up to me
and she was asking me
if I liked the shoes she had tried on
and I was like yeah they're great
where are you going?
What's your event you have?
And she had a really special
dinner date with her husband
and I was like oh yeah
they're perfect for it
you look great in them
they're going to be perfect
and she was like thank you
this is really sweet
because my daughter just moved away
and we used to do this together
and I'm really happy
that I could come up to you
and you could help me with that
so I almost like started crying
when she left me.
There's like some good stuff here.
I know.
Yeah.
Some good stuff.
It's actually a good idea.
Well, like, I don't mind doing it every day.
I might continue this for the rest of my life.
Oh, it's not.
Yeah.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Okay, so I got a new Girl Scout cookie flavor, and it's also awesome what they're doing on the cookies,
because they're putting inspiring messages for when you eat them.
And what's the flavor?
Well, it's called Lemon Up.
And then imprinted on the cookie are sayings like,
I'm a leader.
I'm a go-getter.
There's eight different messages inspired by the Girl Scouts' mission,
empowering and uplifting you as you eat your cookie.
Maybe they should put,
don't eat so many at once.
Last one.
Let's really help people like, easy does it.
Maybe eat half of this.
Yeah.
So, which, you know, it's now Girl Scout Cookie season,
so that means people are going to be hitting you up.
And I don't guess girls really do door to door anymore
because is that just not safe?
Mostly is it like parents take the sign-up sheet at work?
Or they sit outside of grocery store.
Or they sit at.
I see a lot of people doing that.
Yeah.
And also, because I tend to keep things away from me
that I will overindulge in, which is pretty much everything.
Yes.
Especially sugar.
This is a good tip.
I think I know.
I have to talk to Sugar Sean.
And say, Sugar, Sean, don't talk to me right now.
In the room the other day, they had cake in there.
Oh, yeah.
And I walked.
out.
So good.
And they had birthday
cake, they had muffins,
they had donuts.
And Sugar Sean crap
out of my head
and he was like,
just have a little piece.
Yeah, I won't hurt.
And I had to talk with them.
I said, Sugar Sean,
not today.
Not today, Sugar Sean.
I didn't have any.
But even with the Girls
Got cookies,
I walk in the grocery store
and they're there.
And I don't want to say no
because you feel like a total goob
if you're like, no, thank you.
And so,
because Sugar Sean keeps up
and goes, just get one box.
But I say no,
but you can donate cookies
to troops.
And you can buy a couple
boxes of cookies
and donate them,
Goosh.
Right.
You can just 10 bucks and send cookies to the troops.
But yeah, lemons, that's a good.
Flylight lemon is a flavor.
I like the message.
All that's good.
Yay.
There you go.
What else?
The cookie season, by the way, is January through April.
It's always cookie season in my head.
So there's plenty of time to stock up on your.
Never not cookie season in my head.
What else?
So this Florida newlywed couple, they did a coin toss to decide on their last name.
Like, he was either going to take hers or she was going to take his.
and while they were at the altar, they flipped the coin,
and they had engraved their surnames on each side,
so whichever side it landed on,
that was the last name that they were going to choose.
Love it.
Yeah, that's cool.
Would have to go two out of three, though.
You can't do it on just one.
You can't?
They did it on just one.
You never just do a single coin flip or a single paper rock scissors.
You really have to dial in and go two out of three or three out of five.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, well, so it landed.
Five out of nine.
Oh, just to be sure.
It landed on Ward, which was her last name.
So he is now Mr. Jeff Ward, her last name, which is not.
Normally it's like, yeah, and I just didn't know what Ray and Bay were going to do.
Great question.
I'll come over to Ray Mundo one second.
I don't, listen, I don't love my last.
I don't really have an attachment to my last name.
My real last name or bones.
They wouldn't be bones anyway.
So if she didn't want to take it, I'm okay with that.
I think if you do want to take it, great too.
I just, I'm never a fan of tradition for the same.
sake of tradition. I don't think you should keep doing something because everybody else did it before
you. There's a reason you keep doing it wonderful. But I don't know if you don't want to take your husband's
last name, you don't. Don't. If you do, wonderful. I'm no problem with it. But I could see,
I probably wouldn't change, but I don't care if she changes. That's what I say.
You won't take her last name? I don't, I don't, I don't. It's a conversation. Maybe it's a
conversation. Maybe, you know, maybe we do duck, duck goose or paper boxes or something.
I don't know. Raymond, what are you going to do with the last name? Conversation hasn't
taken place yet, but I have a pretty baller last name, so I think she's going to go with mine
tradition as well. He does have a cool last name. Your name is known, huh? Yeah, I don't care. Slater.
Yeah. So she's going to be Bay Slater? Yeah. That's pretty awesome sounding.
But does anyone call her Bay except us on the show? I do sometimes at the house. You do?
Yeah, okay. All right, Amy, what else you got? Okay, so CVS is known for their ridiculously long
receipts. So some people have, you know, taken upon themselves to now start selling CVS receipts scarves.
They're five-foot white scarves with like CBS receipt stuff printed all on them and they're about $20.
So I don't know.
Just sometimes people are looking for cute little gag gifts or stuff to get people.
Those receipts, oh, you get a pack of gum and it's like an 11-page receipt.
There's a whole survey on it.
Yeah.
So anyway, you can check those out.
I think they're on Etsy if you're looking for them.
By the way, in our green room, I just saw Lee Nash walk in from six.
I saw you get distracted.
From Sixpenson on the Richer.
She's going to perform coming up in the next 20.
minutes or so. Maybe you know the song,
Kiss me.
Yeah. Yeah, this one is here.
She was back there right now. Yeah, they just walked in.
I don't even want to turn around. We have a glass room and that you can see them through and I
saw her walk in. Pretty cool. Not going to lie to you. Pretty cool.
Wouldn't lie to you anyway. Pretty cool. So she's coming out. And also Ronnie Dunn tomorrow.
That's cool. From Brooks and his record comes out tomorrow. So, yeah, it'd be good.
It got a good couple days for you. All right, Amy, that's it.
Yeah, maybe that's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news
With Amy
Tell me something good
So firefighters
They rushed out of a supermarket
On an emergency call
Only to return and find that strangers
had paid for their groceries
So they're just there trying to do their thing
They had to drop everything to go do their job
And then when they came back
All taken care of
Which is super awesome
Yeah that's real cool
That's just being too
The people that picked up the bill
Like just being observant
Of your surroundings
And then being extra thoughtful
It'd also be cool
see a bunch of firefighters in firefighter gear shopping for tomatoes.
Yeah.
That would also be cool.
I know because I still picture it like I do on some of these firefighter shows where they all
are hanging out at the whatever, the firehouse.
And they all cook a family dinner and everybody sits around.
And then the alarm goes off and they go down the pole.
The pole.
Jump into their trucks.
Mid spaghetti bite and they go out.
And then that just makes me think of too.
Like the other night on the Golden Globes, Brad Pitt at the end of his speech,
he said something like if you see an opportunity to be kind,
take it because I think we need a little bit more of that in this world.
And then he walked off the stage and I was like,
that's awesome.
And so that just made me think of his speech.
Of these people,
they saw an opportunity to be kind and they took it.
You know what else?
Brad Pitt said in his speech that resonated with me.
What?
He said that he would have let Leonardo DiCaprio on the raft, on the,
the flow.
Yeah.
I miss that.
Because DeCaprio died.
It's in a Titanic.
Oh.
He said that.
He was like,
he's like, I would have let it go on.
Oh.
He said that had the golden gloves.
I only got the kind part and then the part where he said he was going to
bring his mom to the Golden Globes, but any woman he stands next to, people say he's dating.
He thought that would get awkward, so he didn't bring her.
The Ricky Jervais joke about DiCaprio, because they're in that movie together, where he was
like, Leonardo DiCaprio went to the premiere of Once a Plurtime in Hollywood, and the movie was
so long that when the movie was over, his girlfriend was too old for him.
That's funny.
It's a good firefighter story.
It's a good firefighter story.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and my.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
I'm so excited.
We're about 15 minutes away from Lee Nash from Six Pinson on the Richer coming in.
Maybe you know this song right here.
You know this song here that was Amy's winning song for years.
She lives here in town and we reach down.
We're like, when you come play?
She was like, sure.
So this is going to be fun.
That's coming up in the next 10, 15 minutes or so.
Over to Amy now with the Morning Corny.
Morning Corny.
What do you call a zombie who stir fries?
What do you call a zombie who stir fries?
Dead Man Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Deadman walking.
Like a walk.
That was the morning corny.
Bobby boom.
Come on.
Coming up, Lee Nash from Six Pinson on the Richer.
And tomorrow Ronnie Dunn from Brooks and Dunn, which an interesting scenario has happened.
Because I've, and he has befriended me as well, Ronnie Dun and I, we've become buds.
Which is crazy because Brooks and Dunn my whole life has been like the coolest.
And it's music of my lifetime.
And so he's going to come in tomorrow, but Eddie and I are in a band, a comedy band called The Raging
Idiots.
And we asked Brooks and Dunn to play with us.
We have this big show Monday night.
And it's The Raging Idiots and these artists pop in and out.
And Brooks and Dunn and Kane Brown and Brett Young and Colby Calais.
It's this whole real special night.
And we give all the money to St. Jude.
And we're making a special this year to air nationally.
So it'll have some Raging Idiot songs, all these artists popping in.
And we're going to raise money for St. Jude.
Like it with a one-time text number.
Yeah, it's awesome.
And Ronnie was like, hey, pick whatever two songs you want.
And we'll play them with The Raging Idiots
because everybody pops in it does these songs.
And the songs that we had picked were Boots Scoot and Boogie,
which is probably their biggest down the middle, massive hit, right?
For sure.
So here's this one.
They're going to play this with us.
We have to learn this song.
We have rehearsal this weekend.
And then, neon moon.
Because it's...
Because it's neon moon.
It's neon moon.
But it's tough because there are all these of the songs.
Brand new men.
place up the country, hardworking man,
rock my...
All of this, right?
But Kicks, Brooks, was like,
hey, can we not play at the end of the night?
Because sometimes the show gets super extended.
And they were like, hey,
we don't want to have to play at 11.
We're kind of old.
And I was like, you know what?
I don't play 11 either, honestly.
Because sometimes it rolls on.
And they say, can we play in the middle of the show?
Now, that's a tough thing to do
because your biggest act goes in the middle.
Yeah.
And I say to them to Ronnie and Kicks,
I say, sure.
but you got to play an extra song.
Nice.
Right.
So I went to them.
This will air eventually as a special, but on Monday night, I said you have to play one more song.
So I've also selected now in my three songs is I've added on My Maria.
Of course.
Yeah.
Yeah, right?
Good negotiation.
Yeah, like.
Like, sure.
Yeah, you can have your way.
But you have to do one song.
But you have to play another song.
Yeah.
That's awesome.
So they're going to do with us, My Maria, Neon,
Moon Bootskin Bougie.
And Ronnie will be here tomorrow.
He probably doesn't know yet.
He's kind of like that person, huh?
He'll find out.
He'll probably find out when he gets here.
He'll be like, oh, yeah, yeah, whatever you want.
Because he did text me, he said, we'll play whatever you want.
Just let me know.
And I was like, that's a tough decision.
So that'd be tomorrow.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where
you live, then ship everything directly to your door. No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses,
and iron. Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

On the Bobby Bones show now.
Lee Nash.
I'm so excited that you came in, Lee.
Thank you.
Because I tell you what happened, I was on, I guess it was around Christmas time,
and I saw you with a friend of mine, Leslie Fram from CMT, just in a picture.
And I said, Lee Nash lives in Nashville.
That's how I even knew you lived here.
Oh, thanks.
And so I immediately texted my producers, like, see if you can find her,
because I was such a big fan of Sixpins on the Richer back in the day.
Thank you.
And I want to know what she's up to.
And then here you are today.
We're very excited about this today.
Thank you so much.
I really appreciate it.
And I didn't, I'd never met you until today.
And I thought, will she even want to come on the show?
She would.
She would.
Yes, that's great.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you don't mind, I think I would like to just start with a song before we kind of hear what's going on.
Because you have a notebook in your hand with a lot of words on it.
Yeah.
I've written it in crayon because I like to do artie things.
This is not artful at all.
You can't even read it.
But the Bobby Bone show is not where you want to come on and have like a brain fart.
So I'm going to know these words.
But this is a song that you've probably done 10,000 times, right?
A million times.
Yeah.
But I just did it for New Year's Eve in Washington.
And the crowd was singing so loud that they made me forget the words.
So I'm not doing that again.
I have a panic of forgetting things.
So that's not going to happen today.
How cool is it to have a song, though, that everybody,
knows every word too.
I mean, it gave me chills on New Year's Eve.
There were like 4,000 people,
and I expected everybody to be, you know,
drunk and hanging from the rafters.
It was at the 930 club at the anthem.
So it's a huge venue.
And, I mean, everybody was present
and they were freaking out.
I was like a surprise guest,
which was an honor.
And I came out there, and they knew every word.
I mean, it's such a thrill.
And it's very humbling.
So Lee has new music that will come out February 14th. That's right, right? That's right. And so we'll
talk about that coming up in a second. Now, do you mind being called Lee Nash from Sixth and
The Richer or what's the relationship like there? Is that cool? Yeah. Okay. I don't mind one bit because
so many people, I mean, that's how people identify me. But I was thrilled that night, the other New Year's Eve
night, the girl first said Lee Nash and people were excited. So I think a page is turning maybe.
She didn't say I have six pence, none the richer, and then she said it, and they did get more excited.
But, no, I'm thrilled, I'm proud of my history, and I hope we do more music in the future.
And I just like to, I'm blessed with a voice, and I love to write songs.
And so whether it's with sixpence or solo stuff, I want to do it all as long as God lets me.
So I'm happy to be called whatever you want to call me.
Lee Nash is here.
She's going to do a song that just, it was really one of those.
songs that when I hear
I know exactly where I was in my life
because there are certain songs that get played so much
and are such a part of pop culture,
MTV, VH1, radio,
you're just in everything
and like when I hear this song Kiss Me
I'm like, I know exactly where I was.
And so I'm so excited.
Lee Nash is here and she's gonna do Kiss Me right now.
Right, let's do it.
Hey guys, so because of licensing roles,
we can't play anything with music
on this IHeart Radio channel
or podcast anymore.
But you can't go to Bob.
Bobby Bones.com to see it.
We hate that we had to take it down.
It wasn't our decision, but I just wanted to keep you up,
and we wanted to keep up as much as possible.
So go to BobbyBones.com to watch or hear whatever you're missing right now,
and thank you for listening to the show, and sorry about all the legal stuff.
I still get Lee Nash is here.
And by the way, follow our on Instagram, Lee Bird Nash, L-E-I-G-H, Bird Nash.
Will you ever go?
What's interesting to me is, will you ever go somewhere?
And they're like, yeah, Lee plays music, and then you play that song.
oh, that's cool. You're covering a song from Sixth Sense and the Richer.
And you're like, no, I am Sixth Sense on the Richer.
No, it's shocking.
I did some shows with Toe the Way it's Brett Sprocket last year.
And I went out to sell merch afterwards.
And this older man came out and he was like, okay, so I know one thing about you.
You love Sixthons and on the Richer.
And I was like, I mean, have I changed that much?
Like, I still feel like me.
And he is super embarrassed.
And I was like, you don't have to be embarrassed exactly.
But I mean.
I said, like, you have a phone, you know how Google works?
Like, oh, oh, this sounds like her, but whatever, it's fine.
We're friends now, I guess.
What was it like to, and again, seemingly to me, it was like, boom, you're famous.
Did it feel like that to you whenever the song hit?
Not at all.
We were traveling so much, like crazy travel, because radio would have us go from,
I remember one particular instance that we were in you.
York playing like a big, huge radio show. And then we had to fly to Rome the next day and then come
right back to New York for another radio station because there was politics involved and they were
threatening to, you know, pull the song or whatever. And so we were doing, we were, you know, chasing
radio. And our label, I mean, they were fantastic. We had a great team around us. It wasn't so much the
band was chasing radio. But the people that were working.
with us. We're like, no, you're going to be here, here, here, and we were always safe. We were best
friends. I mean, they're like, brothers to me. We had a good time, but it was almost no time to feel
like, oh, you know, people know who I am, except the day after we played Letterman in the airport,
I was, I was recognized quite a bit. I am such a David Letterman fan. That's my hero. Letterman is my
hero. Me too. And when you did Letterman, you played, and you could stop me if I'm wrong,
but then the rare thing was he called you over to be interviewed after your performance.
Right. And to sit in the chair. After you go on as musical guests, which I have a lot of friends
who've done the music part, and they rarely even get to meet Dave. Like he comes over and shakes
their hand and it's like, the theater's cold, good night, everybody. But you get to go sit
down and talk. How was that? I was so, I'm in love, sorry. I've always had like this massive crush
on David Letterman and being the, I mean, I'm much younger than him. But yeah, I think it was a little
mutual for that evening. He liked me too. And also, I think it was, it was just something in the air,
you know, maybe it was God. I said a prayer right before I went out that whatever was, you know,
in the cards, whatever was supposed to happen would happen. And the moment I walked out,
there was a change in the air. And he looked at me and he was like, I want to talk to you afterwards.
have to do that performance knowing I was going to have to go sit on the chair. And I acted,
I watch it and I cringe now because I was so nervous. I wish I could have had a little bit more
composure. But I did all right. And it was so wonderful. He was very, very kind to me.
Lee Nash is here, which by the way, she has a couple of dates that you can check out in Chesterfield,
Missouri on Friday, January 10th, and on Sunday, January 12th in Des Moines, Iowa. So go see her. She's got new
music. Is there anything new that's out, I know the EP and stuff's coming out February 14th,
but is there anything out now that people can hear like Lee Nash not from Sixth Medicine
on the Richard? Oh yeah. There's a ton of stuff you can listen to you. I've got a bunch of
Christmas music. I've released several singles in the last few months and I believe in all of them.
I think they're beautiful. So yeah, just look for Lee Nash on any of those platforms and you can find
a wealth of new music.
I want to shout out to your sister too, by the way.
Oh, please do.
Because she's a listener of the show.
We are very much a Texas, Austin, Central Texas group.
You know, we came from Central Texas to Nashville, and she still lives there.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, Austinite forever.
Yeah, Molly.
Molly.
Hey, Molly.
We were talking to Lee before Lee came on the air, and she was like, Molly was listening.
So, Molly, we thank you for listening.
You're probably cleaning the house while you listen to this.
Apparently you like to vacuum me a lot.
No, she does.
For like the last five years or so of the show, maybe even longer than that,
we have these songs that we play when we win a game.
And Amy's song, when she wins a game, is, I'll sing your part.
When she wins, it goes, there she goes.
There she goes.
I think that's the right key, too.
It's kind of the right key.
Yeah, it gets you hear it a lot.
Yeah, and so, which by the way, I am an alternative nerd.
too and I remember the laws.
Yeah.
Like, and so that was a cover song
though, huh? Oh, they were the greatest. Yeah, it was a cover.
And it was funny, you know,
that was back in 91 or
something when they released that. And then we
started to cover it just
at live shows. We had no intention
of recording it. But it was funny
all the way in 1997
the crowds that we were playing
for knew
the clapping. They still remembered it.
So that song, that song really had
a lot of legs. And we ended up
hanging out with Lee Maverge, the singer for the Laws, for like 24 hours one night in London,
and it was freaking awesome.
I wonder if he and they, whoever wrote that song, made more money with you guys covering it
and it bursting the pop bubble than when they actually did it, and it was kind of an underground pop song.
Do you think that that was the case?
Yes, he definitely made more money.
That's why he partied with us 24 hours.
Do you still play that song?
Do you guys play there she goes?
Yeah.
Would you mind playing a little bit of that?
No, yeah.
Well, do you have a favorite portion?
We'll just do like the first verse.
Can you do verse and chorus?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Nice.
I love that.
I love that.
That's all good.
You know what that reminds me of and it just, it's, it, these triggers memories.
Was that she is all that?
The movie when she walks down the stairs?
Kiss me.
Oh, is that what it was?
Yes, yeah.
There she goes.
It was in movies.
Is that in a movie too?
But not in that movie.
Sister trap.
Oh, my favorite of all the traps.
I think it was that one.
The parent trap.
Parent trap.
Yeah, I think you're right.
With the girl, the Lindsay Lohan?
Lindsay Lohan, yes.
Right now, Lee Nash is here.
Check out her music, and she has a record coming out on Valentine's Day.
February 14th, Valentine's Day, huh?
That's right.
The song that you're going to play, the new song, is this a love song?
Or how did this song come about?
I mean, it's not, no, it's not traditionally a love song.
It's called, what is it called?
It's not God gave me horses.
God gave me horses.
And, no, this song, do you know there's an agriculture?
Agricultural Agriculture Center here in Nashville where the police, the Mount of Patrol,
trained their horses.
And my best friend took me out there one day and we were just watching these beautiful horses.
And I've gotten to know each horse because they're, they get lonely in there at night and you
can go in there and visit them and nobody knows.
I don't think it's legal.
But this was during the day and there were, you know, there's cops kind of walking around.
And this guy came out of the barn and it was wintertime so we had a coat on so we couldn't
tell what he was wearing underneath.
but that sounds weird, but he came over and started talking to us.
And then as he spoke, I realized that he is a prisoner.
And so they just let him come on, you know, I guess good behavior and work with the horses.
And so he was really vulnerable and great about the story.
And I walked away like, oh, my gosh, that's such a great song that he just gave me.
And he hasn't been able to hear the song yet.
He's still incarcerated to my knowledge.
But his name is Dwayne.
And I can't wait for him to hear the song because it's touched so many people so far.
Just at live shows, you know, people come up crying like, oh my gosh, you know, people that can relate to it.
And I'm all about, you know, rehabilitating people that messed up.
So anyway, this song is for Dwayne.
All right, here we get Lee Nash doing God gave me horses.
Come on.
Look at that.
Man, you're so good.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So much.
That is Lee Nash.
And go support her in music. Check it out.
She's doing live shows, too, in Chesterfield, Missouri and Des Moines, Iowa.
I'm so happy you came by.
This was so fun for me personally.
Sometimes the great thing about this job is I get to be fans of people and just go,
I don't care what we're doing.
I just want to bring someone in that I think is fantastic.
And that's what I did today, and I'm so happy that you came up.
Thank you very much.
It means a lot to the music world.
So thanks for what you do.
Amy, would you like to say anything to leave before she leaves?
I still have a lump in my throat.
from God gave me horses.
I don't even know, like visions I was having,
and it's so crazy that you sang this song when yesterday,
I was literally talking to my kids about going out to this farm to look at horses.
Yeah.
And I know that they have, I don't get emotional.
I know they have some healing to do.
They do.
And I just keep hearing how horses can be good for that.
And I feel like your song just now was affirmation.
Yeah.
Which is weird.
That's crazy.
Well, that black and white CD that I gave you has that song on it.
So give it to her.
Oh.
Okay.
I wanted it.
All right.
Lee Nash, everybody.
Thank you very much.
Thank you so much.
I was reading this story about how they say you can tell up your partner is cheating by how they handle their phone.
You ready?
Ready.
One, they get texts at all hours of the day or night.
Okay.
A lot of people?
No, I don't think so.
All hours?
Okay.
I mean, no, we kind of have.
where it falls, unless you have a job
where people are reaching out to you all the time about
crazy things.
Even I don't.
My phone has that little alert that comes on that goes,
oops, 8 o'clock, you're not seeing any messages unless you dig in.
Oh, you set it to that.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, that's good. That's smart.
Because I try to be in bed at 8,
never fall asleep in.
Last night I was watching the Razorbet game
and Eddie and I were texting.
Yeah, I was a little late.
It's late.
I was watching Jeopardy Goat in Arkansas play basketball last night.
LSU beat us.
It's a good game.
Eddie won because he bet Arkansas with points.
Yeah, yeah. They could lose by six and I still won.
So I won't.
And I was up and I was, ugh.
So it took me a while to wind down, especially after a loss.
But yeah, I don't get texts that often, even as nutty as my schedule is.
Emails come in all the time.
But text.
Text.
That's the one to watch.
The person never lets their phone or their tablet out of their site.
Like they can't just leave it.
We've got kids.
I feel like they always have my phone.
Oh, true.
your kids find out that you're cheating.
It's the only place they can have TikTok.
You wake up and see the person on their phone in the middle of the night
when you don't expect them to be.
Okay.
Because that's like they think it's a safe space when you don't see them.
And finally, if they get defensive when you mention their phone use,
because we're already trying to hide something and they're sensitive about it.
You know what I do though, which in what didn't make the list,
but it could be confused for cheating, although there's no way for me to cheat on.
I turn my phone upside down all the time.
So I don't get distracted by alerts on my screen.
And I think back in the day, people would go, why is your phone upside down where you don't want me to see?
Mostly it's, I'm just trying to control me.
Right.
If I take my phone and I put it upside down and I'm having a conversation with someone, there's not one of those little alerts that come up from one of the many places that I follow, Billboard, CNN, ESPN.
Yeah.
It's not a text or an email.
So I don't even see it.
That's thoughtful.
I mean, to respect the conversation you're having, like to be aware of that and put it over.
So let's not think people are fishyy doing that.
I'm trying to get, I'm trying to remove the stigma of turning your phone upside down.
Yeah.
So, yeah, just a few tips there for you.
That if someone's doing those things, they're probably, they probably got a side chick.
That's a good chance.
Clearly.
You didn't think so?
Caffeine apparently is such a big thing that half of Americans say that if they don't get their caffeine, their day will not be good.
Like 50% of people.
I mean, I get a headache.
Oh, you still get, you get headaches?
If you don't have it by what time of the day, though.
Like when does that withdraw hit you?
I mean, I would say somewhere mid-morning by noon.
I noticed it over Christmas break.
That's pretty bad if you're getting it by noon.
I know.
But I have some form of caffeine every day, whether it's coffee, tea, coffee or tea, or
macha.
Well, it's just also tea.
But anyway, I'll notice, why do I have a headache?
Do I need to drink more water?
And then I'll realize, oh, shoot, I haven't had my caffeine yet today.
Which isn't a good thing.
It's not.
So that's when I'll normally, like, wean myself off a little bit and then get
build myself back up.
For me, it's about two days.
Because I don't do a lot of caffeine, but if I don't have caffeine for like two days,
I'll start to go, huh, something's a little not right here.
Yeah.
I'll do that in my shoulders while I'll lift up up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay home there's something good.
Out in Mesa, Arizona, in the middle of the night, this neighbor wakes up and goes,
oh my gosh, my neighbor's house is on fire.
So Ty runs next door, starts banging on the door,
and there's a ring doorbell camera.
so he starts looking into it and he's yelling,
your house is on fire.
Your house is on fire.
The mom answers the door.
He takes the two-year-old girl out to the street.
Wow.
Ty runs in and gets the other daughter out of the house.
Wow.
Also, to go up to the cameras or talking to the camera,
that's pretty aware.
It's pretty aware to go, okay, but they can hear me.
Because, again, if somebody's beating on your door,
you're probably not just going to answer it.
If somebody comes in my door, I have the app too.
I just go, who's out there?
Also, I'm not standing on the other side of the door.
Right.
I can just yell.
through the door. But yeah, that's a good story. That is what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple,
nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

I did see the story come across yesterday that Prince Harry and Megamarkle are stepping back from the royal family.
And I've heard two stories that they're moving to Canada and the other ones are moving to Los Angeles.
it's interesting to me to see two members of the royal family go,
hey, we're going to check out for a bit.
But what's really interesting is I was watching this Pierce Morgan.
Do you guys know who Pierce Morgan is from America's a talent for a while?
I guess he's a UK guy.
Yeah.
And he goes, hey, look at all of this here.
He goes, Megamarkle, she split from her family.
She split from her dad.
She, um, another one was, she did something else.
Now she split Harry from the family.
She's estranged from a lot of people and now look at Harry separating.
He's like, she is the toxic.
it chemical in all this. Don't know if that's fair because I don't know that story.
No, but I think he has long said, he's got something against her, apparently.
So he thinks that there's something there's something there. But does he have something against her for the same reason that?
I don't know, but it's not like the first time where he's doubted her.
Peters Morgan says, people say I'm too critical in Megan Markle, but she ditched her family, ditched her dad, ditched her old friends, split Harry from William and now split Harry from the royal family. I rest my case.
Morgan number two,
I'm coming to you.
What is your thoughts on them leaving the royal family?
Well, what they posted on, like, their social media and they started a website,
they said that it was for their son, so their son could have a balance between a royal family life and a normal life.
So I don't think being critical of that is like a good thing because I think what they're trying to do is something that's good for their son.
And I don't think from what I've read and learned about,
Markle. I don't think there's anything bad
about her. I think she's had a lot of bad
price and a lot of bad go at it for this.
A lot of her old friends too in Hollywood say
like she's just chasing fame though and this was the biggest fame
chase that she could do.
I see those stories too.
I mean that is the, that's the ultimate game.
Like if you're chasing fame, that's the ultimate
get me. You see like Beyonce and Jay Z go up to Harry and
and Megan be like oh it's good to meet you. And they're the
basically our most famous couple here now
right? Who?
Like Beyonce and Jay Z.
Yeah.
Like they're like
Power
Like our
You hate to say royal
We don't have royal family
We have celebrities
We have celebrities
We have celebrities
We hold to a higher stature
Like they do the royal family
But yeah
They're hopping back
They say we're gonna lead
A more financially independent life
That's like that general girl
Going I'm self-made
Like you can make your own money
But let's be for real
You're getting your money
From you know
Being in that family
And on that TV show a long time
You did come up with a product
And good for you
For having a part in that
But you'll never be really
independent and she'll never really be self-made.
Well, and they didn't say they were going to be fully, fully independent, but they just wanted
to make their own money and not be so dependent on the, you know, England.
I can't wait until like 10 years from now, we have a docu series on what really happened.
Yes, because I was thinking that when it happened.
I thought, man, I wish this was an episode of the Crown right now so I could see behind
the walls and what was happening.
And it made me think of, you know, in previous years, like in the Crown where some of the
other siblings, like not necessarily split, but they got cut off and they had to move to
like Paris or whatever and start their life there because they wanted to be with someone that
wasn't approved. Yeah, that wasn't like season one of the crown, huh? Yeah, I guess so. I can't,
but he pops up again later in this latest season because it's like his end of life. But yeah,
I think, I think it's fine. They say they're going to split from North America to here. So I just
hope we, I'm into it. Like I want to follow. Wait, we are North America. Sorry, North America and
there. So half their time between England.
in North America, whether that's Canada or like you said, Los Angeles, I wasn't sure.
But, I mean, I think it'd be fun to run into them.
Run into them.
If they're going to be here more.
You know, I, for a while I was a hater of the royal family.
I was like, who cares?
But really, it's just their biggest celebrity.
And it does generate a lot of tax, a lot of money in people going over to check it out.
Tourism.
Yeah, it's a big deal for them, much like we have, you can go check out monuments.
So it's the same.
We just call it different things.
And I never cared until I watch the crown
But it is cool to see something exist for so long
Mm-hmm I agree
And the crown sometimes can be very boring of a show
But you still are learning
And sometimes it can be really fascinating
While it's also telling the truth
So I like the crown
That show that I haven't jumped into yet
Is the Mandalorian?
Mike D, send me a note about the Mandalorian on Disney Plus
Mike D, did you finish the Mandalorian on Disney Plus?
I finished it, yeah
And then what did you think?
Because it's a Star Wars spinoff
Yeah, it takes place after the originals
But before the ones that are happening now
And now I've never seen Star Wars
Would I like The Mandalorian?
I think you should give it like one or two episodes
I think you would enjoy it
Do I need to watch Star Wars?
No
Really?
Yeah, it's self-contained
And then what about this baby Yoda?
So it's not actually Baby Yoda
It's like it doesn't have it
They call him the child in the show
But he's gonna have a name that's revealed later
But people just call that as a nickname
Is it one baby Yoda or is there a whole
Like just one?
Okay, so there's not like 10,000
No
Running the planet
No
Oh
Interesting.
Okay, the mandolore.
And I think I have Disney Plus because I have Verizon.
Yeah, you probably have it for a year.
And I have Apple Plus.
And I don't know why I have Apple Plus for free.
Probably when you got your new iPhone.
Oh, wow.
Oh, and you get it for a reason.
Because every time I click an episode, I'm like,
this is when they're going to catch me.
They're going to stop me from watching it because I haven't paid for it.
Or did you sign up for the trial and then you just didn't.
Okay.
Sign up for anything.
I've done all the trials.
And after the seven days, I'm like, sign me up.
Oh, so you pretend.
for a minute and you're like, I'm just going to get the trial and get out, but then they convince you.
Yes, I'm like, no, this is too good. I have to have it, especially because we eliminated cable.
So I depend on these streaming platforms. This is the only way I can watch anything.
Favorite show right now. It's tough. We won't say favorite, but a show that you've watched, Mike, right?
The Man-Lorian, by the way. Four out of five, baby Yotas. Four out of five? Yeah.
A show that you like right now. It doesn't be your favorite, but something you're like, I was into this.
Okay, well, I'm done with it, but it's the morning show. I cannot wait for it to come back.
On Apple Plus. Yes. It's good. Lunchbox, favorite show?
Oh, the righteous gemstones.
It's John Goodman and the guy from Eastbound and Down,
and they're the head of a mega church sort of like a...
And they're a big family, they're rich, super church,
and they have all this stuff going on behind the scenes.
They're really a disaster, but it's really funny.
I think Jennifer Nettles is in that too, huh?
Is she?
Do you know who that is?
Yeah, she's from that Sugar Land Band.
Yeah, I think she plays a character in that show.
Eddie?
Mine's a man in the high castle, just because I'm watching it right now.
Oh, hey, I was thinking about...
Yeah, all game.
It's so good.
Halfway through, you're like, this stinks.
I already started season two.
Have you gotten to the part where you're like, what the heck is happening?
Yes, and I'm like, I kind of like it.
I want to see more.
Oh, you know what I was going to tell you about that?
What about you, Bobby?
Yours.
You know, I like that Kevin Hart docus series on Netflix.
I pulled that up to start.
Then I got distracted, couldn't start it.
But I've got it on there.
I want to watch it.
Is Jennifer Nettles in The Righteous Gemstones?
She is?
The Kevin Hart series is called, it's called like, shut the blank up or something.
What's it called?
Oh, yeah, I think it has the F word.
I thought you said.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, but it's, I am not a huge, I like Kevin Hart, but I'm not somebody who just like waits for all of the specials.
But I thought it was good.
It was a pretty, because first he was going to host the Oscars, which was a humongous deal.
And by the way, they're going their second year.
They announced yesterday with no host.
And so he was going to host the Oscars, and they found some old tweets from his, like, 10 years.
prior and he was like, I don't believe the same stuff, but I'm not going to be part of that culture
that has to go and apologize because someone dug up something about me that I've obviously
changed my stance on. And so it's that whole drama. What do you think about that? How he handled
that? I'll come back to that. In the middle of this drama, though, they catch him cheating on his wife.
And they just leave it in the show. And it shows when he gets the text going, somebody has a video
of you, and it's all in there. And it's, I like it because, listen, any reality thing is
shifted to what the creator wants to show you,
but this one feels really raw.
And you see his life.
Like, he goes, you go into his house and you see his car.
And so I don't care how rich somebody is.
I like it when they show it and they're honest
and they're like not apologetic about it
because he earned it.
He comes from a pretty rough background
and I have no problem with anybody having a whole lot
when they earned that whole lot.
And he did that.
He worked hard to get it.
And he's super talented and works hard.
It's called Don't F this up, Kevin Hart.
I liked it.
It's a lot of bad words in it, obviously.
But it's six episodes, 30 minutes each.
What was your question?
If you think he handled that, like how would you handle it?
Or do you think that a tweet from 2009, he should apologize for it or should not?
Like, I don't understand why he couldn't just be like, he can say, that's not me anymore.
I'm sorry if it offended anybody.
But he's kind of like, that's not me anymore.
And he was like, just not me anymore.
It's obvious that's not me anymore.
And I think they just wanted him to keep apologizing.
wanted him to go on a whole apology toward him to be like, I'm so sorry. And he was like, I'm just,
I don't have to do that. And so I think you, I would probably go, I apologize for the idiot that I was.
I'm really sorry. Yeah. Because at some point, who knows what I said 10, 15 years ago?
That's what I wondered too, and not that you have at all. Right, right, right. But who knows?
We talk for five hours a day every day. Sometimes I try to make jokes and they don't hit or it can be taken in weird ways.
Well, there's things that were just even, like, comedy-wise, that were okay to say way back, that are just not okay now.
And, you know, yeah, like, if you do end up running for governor, like, people will be digging and digging.
And, yeah, I just didn't know.
Like, what if something came up from whatever year?
Like, how would you handle it?
I think I'm pretty open.
I like to think I'm open about all my faults or most of them.
And even in my book, that bare bones, I put a lot of crap in there that I wasn't proud of.
And I don't know.
and I think I would be like, oh, yeah, that's right.
Sorry about it.
I'm really sorry about that.
I wish I wasn't such an idiot.
I think sometimes maybe I don't even know I'm still an idiot.
Like, I don't know.
But I've been doing radio for five hours a day, a morning show, so I was 22.
So you're talking about 17 years?
I've said some pretty dumb stuff, probably insensitive stuff.
I try not to, but who knows?
I think it depends how much I wanted that job.
If it was the Oscars, I probably be like, I'm sorry for this.
I'm sorry for everything else I'm going to say.
I'm sorry for things that you're just thinking I would say.
but it's an interesting series.
Yeah.
I saw your video for Arkansas, too.
That was so awesome.
I mean, you're not for Arkansas,
but the video of you visiting your hometown.
You know, and thanks, because I put that up.
It was so cool.
Crazy that you say that,
because I had it on my phone for a while.
On my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones,
I put up a, it's about a three-minute video
of me going to Mountain Pine, my home.
Population 772.
Like, I'm from a real small town in Arkansas,
and I had it on my phone,
I just never posted it.
And I was like, I don't even know if anyone would like this.
And the response was like overwhelming and that people were like, wow, that's so cool.
And I was like, really?
People care about this?
Yeah.
I liked it.
I mean, I know all of it.
I even knew that you were there and you were going to deliver basketball shoes with the basketball team.
But it's just, it's good to see.
And then remember how far you've come.
And I mean, yeah, a lot of us have been there to see it in person.
And the first time I ever went in person, I couldn't.
Like, there was a lot to take in because I'd heard you say how it was.
but then how much they care about you there too is special.
Like I love seeing that.
And then, of course, I always think of your mom
and just how proud she would be.
And your grandma, of course.
But they'd be so, so proud of you.
Well, thank you.
And I do show the house when I moved to Mount Pine
that a house that I lived in.
But I just didn't think much of it when I posted it
because I didn't know people would be interested.
And I don't watch three-minute videos, honestly.
Oh, I don't, if it goes to Instagram TV,
a lot of times I just watch whatever's up.
But I clicked.
And then I even repost it.
Like, I was proud of you.
I was like, this is.
It's cool.
And then one of our friends sent a note, too.
I think she did it to you too.
Like, you've got my vote.
It was a gubernatorial video.
The Arkansas Democrat is at the state paper wants to talk to me about that.
Not the video about.
Yeah, running.
Yeah.
And I don't know.
I'm so on the edge of doing it and not doing it that I don't want to say I'm doing it all the time and then have to back out.
I don't know.
But I think I'm going to do a thing with them.
I just, here's my thing.
I think I represent a lot of people that don't get heard.
And I think I also represent a lot of people who don't come from privilege who
that I can say I'm just like you
and here's how we can do it
here's how I did it here's a blueprint of just hard work
showing up on time
I represent you I think there's so many people in political office
that come from privilege and they don't represent us that don't
that's how I feel I think if you're rich and you're a politician
you don't represent those that aren't rich and you don't care
because you don't understand and it's not because you don't fully
you don't disregard other people's feelings
but unless you've been poor and had to struggle week to week
to even put food on the table you don't know what that's like
You have no idea what it's like to struggle unless you've struggled.
And there are a lot of ways that I don't understand that aren't financial.
So I, but for me, when I see someone that's rich and goes into office, I'm like, you have no idea what poor people want, what they need, what even middle class needs.
And that's the only thing that makes me want to kind of dial in.
But who knows?
Anyway, the video's up.
Thanks for saying that.
I told you guys that somebody hopped in the mailbag here.
Hey, Ray Wendo, play me that mailbag liner.
Bobby's Mailbag
Remember the guy who called our show
And said he wanted to take Morgan number two on a date
Oh yes
Ph.D. Peter
Mm-hmm
He slid into the mailbag
Wow
And he called in
Good looking guy, he's got a Ph.D.
He lives in California
And he said, hey, this is in the past
He said, I'd like take Morgan number two on a date
I'll come to town
And Morgan said, sure, right?
Mm-hmm.
But he's never come to town.
No, he hasn't.
Okay, here is the mailbag.
Oh.
Hi, Morgan.
happy 2020.
I'll be in Nashville for a quick trip this weekend.
Oh.
And I was hoping I could take you for that cup of coffee.
If you're free on Saturday or Sunday,
I would love to take you for a cup of coffee.
Best PhD Peter.
Now, I'm not going to read his whole email signature,
but he did sign his whole.
And so his name is Peter Blank, PhD,
University of Blank.
And then everything about it is official.
He puts it all there.
So it's in your court
Do we have his number that she could call him?
Do you want to go and have someone sitting at a table next to you so he doesn't?
Well, there's kind of an issue here because I have LASIC tomorrow
and I don't really know what I'm going to be like this weekend
because whenever I have surgeries and stuff I'm kind of down and out for the count.
Lunchbox said Eddie have had LASIC?
Oh, you're fine in the next day.
It's like, it's your, you're fine.
walk out of there and I think you're like, oh, the tree is.
So Sunday, though, if you have it on a Friday, you're good. You bounce back all day, Friday, all days.
I could attempt this, but I'm just telling y'all, when I got my wisdom to do that, I ended up in the ER.
Like, this is bad. Totally different. Like, I'm telling you, you're going to go home and take a nap.
Two hours later, you're going to be fine. She'll be at Al Dean's bar.
Woo!
Partying it up. Okay. Just with goggles on. Here's the thing. On Sunday, I think that would be a great time for you guys to have a coffee.
I don't want to go unless somebody else is going to be there.
Mike D, can you go?
You need security?
You can go?
Can you set it up so he doesn't have her number?
Okay.
Will you handle, will you do that?
Yes.
Mike D. will go.
You won't sit with them.
A different table?
Yeah.
Like secret service.
He's just going to like...
And fake like you have an earpiece in and like hold your ear and act like you're talking to people.
Would you want to do a double date by girlfriends here this weekend?
They could do a double day.
That's actually really good.
Yeah.
You and your girlfriend and Morgan number two and Ph.D. Peter.
Oh boy.
Yeah? Do it. Yeah. And you can set it all up, right? So he doesn't have her number or any case. Okay. Are you down Morgan number two?
Yeah, I guess I'll do this. All right. There we have it. This could be the one, guys. I mean, this could be awesome.
I don't know about that, but I'm putting myself out there. I'll try this. Would you date someone long distance?
No. It's just already a no. I've been in long distance relationships. It's never gone well.
Maybe I haven't been in the right long distance relationship. I just don't, you know, that's just not in my area. I'm not in a place.
for that. Okay, Morgan number two is 26. She's the head of all of our digital. What if he's coming to
Nashville this weekend about a potential job? Oh, good point. Interview, maybe? Yeah. Oh, poor Morgan
number two. No, not poor. She's the one that initially said she was okay with this. I know, because I think
she thought he's all the way in California. It would never happen. Yeah, a little bit. Well, you made your bed,
now you'll lay in it. Yeah, I'll go. And Mike D and his girl will go. By the way, Mike D doesn't say like three
words a day. They're just going to sit next to you quietly. No, but your girlfriend talks.
Okay. That's cool. I like that. We'll get that update Monday. If your eye hurts,
be sure not to go. I'm telling, if I'm fine, I will absolutely go. Okay. I just,
my body is a little bit fragile. I don't know why. Her heart. Oh, she has been sick too.
Oh, yeah. Are you bouncing back from that? I'm getting better.
I'd like to say good morning to everyone. Except these people that are sending.
these you've been drafted text messages,
these fake draft text messages?
Like military draft?
Oh my gosh.
I didn't know this was happening.
What?
Twisted, huh?
Yes.
If you receive a text message
saying you're being drafted to fight
in Iran,
just don't respond.
Oh my goodness.
The U.S. Army
is warning about a wave of fake text messages
telling Americans
they have been drafted to fight in Iran.
screenshots of text
and I'm looking at it here
I'll read you a text
Okay
So imagine Amy you're on your phone
Yeah
Do do do
And bruno
Hello we are contacting you in regards
To the United States
Official Army Draft
We tried contacting you
Through your email several times
And have had no response
You've been marked eligible
And must come to the nearest branch
For immediate departure to Iran
Oh my goodness
Please contact us at the following number
United States Army Referral Program
Ask for Blank
extension blank.
Thank you.
And then you call
and you give them information
and they got you.
They,
and here's the thing
I would feel like
that was fake
but it's like
100.
You're like,
what if it is real?
Oh my God.
Right.
But there is no draft
right now.
And the next time
you use your blinker,
you don't use your blinker
and get pulled over
or you go to jail.
They're like, well,
see there's a mourn out
for your rest for a draft.
Draft dodging the draft.
Went AWOL.
Yeah, so I'd like to say
good morning to everybody
except these but holes.
Wow.
Yeah.
If you got that Morgan number two,
you're 26. I'm not going to be drafted probably. I'm 39. I'm probably good, but you're 26.
Yeah, but I would freak out. I don't really know what I would do. You're smart. They'd come after you.
They just put me in the lab. The tactical department? Yes, engineering. Okay, listen, Bob, here's the thing.
We're going to war with Iran, but it's a dance competition. And we're not that good a dancer. So how could we win the dance competition? How did you do it without any dance skills?
And then here's one other story. People are swallowing.
glitter pills. Do you know why they're doing this? Oh yes, I do, because they want to make the bathroom
pretty. They want to make their poop sparkle. I mean, I kind of would try this. I don't know how I know
that. Every now and then, there's one of these stupid trends that you go that come on. Yeah. Is it bad for you?
They said, well, I mean, I don't know. I would imagine there's probably worse stuff you're eating that you
probably think is okay for you. Yeah, I mean, if it goes straight through you. It's a tiny pill,
filled with lots of glitter
from general multicolour pills
to holiday themed colors too
you could have got for Christmas
Oh fun
It is bad for you
Glitter is not meant to be ingested in any form
It can cause serious injury if it breaks
Well
Obviously you would think they would be putting in
Safe Glitter
Can I say this about
Why? Who's seeing anybody's poop?
Like it's not like you're going to show that off
to a lot of people
It's much of a risk for a tiny
your reward. The reward being only
if you see it, and then how many people are you really going to
show? Your spouse, maybe, and that's it. No.
No. No. No. No. Oh, okay. No. No. No. Honey.
It doesn't matter. Oh, that's gross.
Okay.
It's a Bobby Bones show. Crazy by Justin Bieber having Lyme disease, huh?
Yeah. Really crazy. Well, a lot of people
for a while have been giving him a hard time because he had lost a bunch of weight and
they were saying things like, what are you on meth? Or
things like, hey, are you anorexic?
And finally he came out and was like, hey, guys, I've been finding Lyme disease for a while.
So let's just chill.
And then once he announced that, so many haters came forward that don't think it's a real disease.
Well, I'll say this about haters.
And I'm always annoyed when news stories will quote one or two tweets for their sake of creating a story.
If you put something out and you have a big platform, you're going to find every kind of answer, period.
It's almost unfair to use a quote tweet and create a new story based on that.
Well, Haley, Haley Baldwin responded to one and put up an Instagram saying that anybody that's
doubting what he's saying and she's right there by his side as he's fighting it, she's like,
you have no idea.
Well, my point is there are 10 million people that respond.
11 of them are going to say, yeah.
Justin Bieber, are you an alien?
I mean, they're going to say the most ridiculous things.
So it's always weird when people, and I've oftentimes seen the few negative ones and went
after them. I try not to do that anymore.
Yeah. Because I even feel petty doing it. But yeah, Justin Bieber, we have a friend that's
fighting Lyme disease. And it has completely turned her life around. Yeah. It takes over your
life and is very taxing. Shania. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. She would come in and talk to us in her throat
and she'd been fighting Lyme disease such a long time. It still is, right? Yes.
Yeah, I think it's, I don't know that it ever goes away. Is that right? I don't know. I don't want
mispeak, but I think it might be viral.
You're not a doctor?
I'm not. I know.
Shocker, but I'm not.
Justin Bieber's been battling Lyme disease and chronic mono.
Quote, it's been a rough couple of years, but getting the right treatment will help.
It's an incurable disease, and I will be back better than ever.
So, yeah.
We're going curable.
Right.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
What's up today?
Amy, anything?
Oh, I got some stuff to do with my dad today.
I got a notification that apparently has something illegal in his apartment at the...
Machine gun?
At his assisted living place.
So I got to go remove that ASAP.
It's a...
I mean against the law or against the rules?
Against their rules.
And I said, well, he's had it there for months.
Nobody's noticed.
I mean, since he moved in.
Is it a crack pipe?
No, it's a bed railing.
But apparently it's against safety protocol.
And I'm like, well, it keeps him in the bed sometimes.
I might roll out.
But apparently there's this very specific kind, only one kind.
that they allow and I have to buy that kind.
What about you?
A couple things.
One, let me say this.
Ronnie Dunn will be in tomorrow.
I'm looking at my notes here.
Right tomorrow Ronnie Dunn's coming in?
And he'll be the Friday morning conversation
and we'll talk to him because our band The Raging Idiots
is playing with Ronnie in kicks.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
So, fun.
So we'll talk to that.
Also, I'll say this.
I'm doing a podcast with Nashville Lifestyles tomorrow.
And Shay Mooney's coming by my house for the bobbycast from Dan and Shay.
Awesome.
This is tomorrow.
I have all that, but I pulled up my calendar to see what's going on there.
tonight I have dinner with a friend but I mostly know through work
it's one of those I tried it in my year three or four times a year set up
and go hey we should if I ever say to someone we should have dinner
I follow up immediately I don't ever do the thing well we should get together
and then never follow up and get to it so with her because she works for the CMA
like three months ago I was like we should have dinner
and reach out immediately set a date and that's tonight so I'm pretty excited about
that I don't get to see her but like once or twice
a year. And my dog is going off for training for a few days again. Oh. So I'm going to ship him off at
two. The guy picks him up. It takes him for a little bit and it comes back. So I'm going to do that
today. I'm going to go box at the title. So that's it. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Tomorrow's show
should be real good. And today's show on Instagram on our at Bobby Bone Show Instagram page. Lee Nash,
the lead singer of Six Pinson on the Richer, came in and I played Kiss Me. There she goes.
That song too. So check that out at Bobby Bone show. See you guys later. Bye.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier. They start with a soil test and climate data to
build a yard plan tailor to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door.
