Starting point is 00:03:01 Hurry, because the spots are filling up fast. Book now. Again, top shelfcountrycruise.com or 888-381-4420. Welcome to Wednesday show. Morning studio. Morning. I was reading a story about the 10 healthiest vegetables that you can eat, period. This is from nutritionists.
Starting point is 00:03:30 It's at the most nutrition in them, and I haven't even heard of some of them. Parsley is at 10. I didn't think that was something you should eat. Yes. If it's on a piece of meat, meat, flick. Oh, so you see it as garnish. Flick?
Starting point is 00:03:43 Number nine mushrooms. Yes. Not a big mushroom guy, but if cooked just right, meaning with like a lot of salt and pepper and caramel and saute. That's to be just right. It's like a Brussels sprout. Like the reason Brussels sprouts are so popular now is because people do so many things to them. Because Brussels sprouts themselves are pretty bitter.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I like Brussels sprouts, but I'm rare. But nowadays, like, oh, you got to get to Brussels. Well, actually, it's like tons of everything light brussel at the restaurant. Number eight, garlic. Can you just eat garlic straight up? Yes. Yeah, you can, you put it in the oven and it's a little like skin thing. And then when it gets hot, you can squeeze it right out. It's real satisfying to watch.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And then you can just eat it. I mean, you have to deal with like maybe smelling like garlic. But yeah, it's good. Cabbage at seven, beats at six, spinach at five. I'm okay with cabbage. beets and spinach. Me too. All pretty good.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I do not like red bell peppers at all, zero percent. That's at four. Anybody a bell pepper person? I love them. If we get fajitas, I want no peppers, no onions. Wow, that's my favorite part. And Kayla's like, that's the whole fajita.
Starting point is 00:04:54 It is. Like, no, the whole fajitas is meat. So we have to get our fajitas split up. Sweet potatoes at three. Yes. And number two, romaine lettuce. Romaine and lettuce. Weird, that's a second.
Starting point is 00:05:07 most nutrition-filled vegetable. Because I kind of just go lettuce. Who needs it? And then number one, something called Dulce. Oh, I have Dulce sprinkles. I sprinkled them on my salad. I couldn't, if Dulce walked in the room right now, I would not be able to, if you put three things,
Starting point is 00:05:26 I wouldn't know what that is. Yeah, you wouldn't. But they sell it, like if you go over to where like the sushi section is or like the, you know, seaweed paper in the, I find it at most grocery store. and they'll have Dulce there. And you can just, yeah, sprinkle it onto your salad for some extra nutrition. What is Dulce? It's from the sea.
Starting point is 00:05:44 It's a sea nutrient. I don't know. It's like a plant maybe from the ocean. Anybody here ever had Dolce? Never heard of it. It looks like beef jerky kind of, purple beef jerky. It's not. It's like flaky.
Starting point is 00:05:56 It's not the texture of meat. It's the texture of plant. It's the number one most nutrition-filled vegetable, and I have never heard of it. Yeah. I'm sure in a couple years I'll be hip-eeped. Dolce restaurants. Maybe, yeah. I mean, it adds also, it adds that flavor of salt in a way without all the extra sodium in case,
Starting point is 00:06:17 because some people for health can't have that much salt. So Dulce is a good option. All right, coming up, Travis Denning, he'll be in in like two segments because what's going to happen is going to come in, he's going to play. And also, I've got a hat with 20 TV theme songs in it. We'll draw and see if he can play the theme songs. I'm looking at Dolcee now. It looks like bark.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Yeah, but tastes like paper. Or the texture of the little paper. I'm out. On the Bobby Bones show now. Travis Denning. Travis, I had listed the top five funniest people in country music, and you were in it. Yeah, right in the middle. Do you see it?
Starting point is 00:06:50 Yeah, it's kind of where I am in life, too. What you mean? Number three. Just. Average? Yeah, like. But it was the top five funniest. Kind of having success.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Kind of not. You know, just somewhere all up in it, you know? No, I think that was a good list. I was a good list. I was honored to be there. And behind Bluke, you know. Yeah. Luke and then you.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I'll take it all day long. Funny guy. Travis Denning us here. He's got a new EP, which is called Dirt Road Down. It's been out for a little bit. Play a little Abby. This is current single right now.
Starting point is 00:07:19 And her name is Abby. So now that we've talked a little bit of music, let's talk about real life for a second. We've got all that out of the way. And we'll get back to it. That was the most in-depth I've had a while. He's got a record. Yada, yada.
Starting point is 00:07:50 But you've been watching Yellowstone now. Yes. Are you all the way through with all three seasons? Oh, yeah. I knocked them all out. I think about a week and a half. Thoughts? I don't feel like
Starting point is 00:08:02 Well, no, that's a spoiler. Beep that out, Ray. Yeah, beat. Let's beep that. You should ask for my... No, thoughts on the show. Like, it's really good. Did you watch it?
Starting point is 00:08:11 Yeah. Hey, we won't beep that out? Leave it in. That he was a knucklehead enough to give a spoiler. I can't believe you did that, man. Okay, here's my thoughts. I really like the show.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Yay. I think that's a given being that you finished it in like a week and a half. No, I'd love it. There's something so like, like I sit there and watch them do all those cowboy things that I would just be the worst at. I'm like, I could do that as I sit on my couch, like just eating cereal in the morning. Like, no, I could rope that cow for sure. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:41 It's really cool. And I love, like, I love Wyoming and, you know, all of the Elstone National Park. That's like my favorite place in the country as far as nature. I mean, it's just, I think that's why I love the show. I saw also on Instagram, it was your girlfriend Madison's birthday. Yes. Would you consider yourself a good gift giver? Yes, I think I am. Yeah, I got her a new coffee table and some books,
Starting point is 00:09:04 and then we went to Kane Prime for dinner, which I haven't eaten there forever. Usually the way our birthdays work is I'm like, what do you want? And she shows me, I buy it for usually like three weeks in advance of her birthday. So he's a great gift giver. He just gets what she asks for. I mean, if she asked me what I want,
Starting point is 00:09:21 I'm like just fishing stuff, I guess. And it's always been good. No one's ever let down with a gift, way. You're not a big surprise guy, though. You didn't surprise her with anything? She's not super into surprises. So, yeah, we don't do a lot of surprises. I was actually on the road, like the day of her birthday. And so we spent all weekend together. Here is Travis's number one. Will you play a little bit of this? Ray Moondo. Which one? His number one. Listen, I hate to be like this, his only number one.
Starting point is 00:09:53 The only number one. Literally, there's only, If you Google it, it's just one. Which one was that? What did start with? He's got it. But after a few drinks, it's always the same thing. That's rude to,
Starting point is 00:10:10 Ray, wasn't it to get which one? Play is only number one, possibly, you know, the only one is ever going to have. I just kind of wanted to reset who Travis was when he was in here. We're going to play a game in a second where I have taken like 20 TV show themes. We're going to pull one out of a hat because you were so good on the guitar and you're so
Starting point is 00:10:31 quick at knowing songs to see if you can play them. Are you up for that? I am. I feel like I might fail miserably, but I will try my best. So you got dirt road down. It's six tracks here. Let's play a little of grew up with the truck from Travis Denny. I bet you burned a lot of rubber down the main street.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Crane up some country with your baby in the front of sea. a little freedom just driving around. Yeah, if you're anything like me, I know what you're talking about. Did a lot of living it up, kicked up some back road dust, and thanked the man up above you grew up with a truck. Come on. That's good. You wrote that by yourself too? Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:11:14 What is that? When you write a song by yourself, do you go, is this really good or no? Oh, yeah, like all the time. But the other thing that I really enjoyed writing that by myself was, you know, usually in Nashville it's like you wake up. up you have a 10 or 11 o'clock appointment and you try and write that song that day with your co-writers I spent like a week and a half on that song just picking at it here and there and uh it was way more relaxing and I actually I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would I'm trying to slowly write some songs by myself or at least start some by myself nowadays so I had fun writing it and I mean it's a
Starting point is 00:11:48 truck song I mean I grew up with a truck you know my dad always had one so it was kind of easy to pick back in the memory file and do that. On the Bobby Bones show now. Travis Denning. He's here. He's got a number one song, which we played earlier. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Yeah, the only one. The only one so far, so far. He's got a new single called Abby, which we're going to play it right here again. Ray, if you'll hit Abby right here. What this song reminds me of is before you had a number one song. I said, hey, Travis, come over to the house
Starting point is 00:12:23 during a Christmas party. This is two, three years ago. Yeah. And he played his idea, we just wrote this one. And you played it in the living room. And I thought, well, that'll never get cut. Look at it now. Look at it now.
Starting point is 00:12:35 It's a single. It's a single with a video and everything. That's crazy. Abby means anybody but you in case it didn't get to that. ABBBI. Yeah, ABBY. I have 20 TV show themes in the hat. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I will draw one out and you have to play the TV show theme song. All right. Okay. Up first. You will do. That 70 show. Oh. The theme song.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Have you ever watched that 70 show? I've seen every episode minimum three times. So you know well. So we're starting off easy. Okay, okay. Here's a softball. Let's hear that 70 show theme from Travis Denning. On the street.
Starting point is 00:13:18 The same old thing. Yeah, we did last week. Yeah, not a thing to do. But tell to you. Yeah, we're all all right We're all right Nice job That's pretty good
Starting point is 00:13:41 Did he blow out the system with that one? Yeah, that was a rocker I learned that one like when I first saw the show Is that only from the TV show Or is it a song? Yeah, it was although there is a whole version of that song I've never gotten past that part But where do they play it?
Starting point is 00:13:59 What channel is that on? Yeah. It's on YouTube somewhere. I heard it one time. You know, thank you for being a friend by Adam Gold, I think it's his name. Andrew Gold, Gold, maybe. Is that the... It's a whole song. You know, thank you for being a friend.
Starting point is 00:14:11 It's the Golden Girl's theme song, but it's a whole song. And they just chopped that. Do you know that one? I don't know that. That's too old for him. I know. That'd be impressive. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Next up, full house. That's... Everywhere. Everywhere. Yeah. Yeah. It starts off weird. It was good.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Whatever happened to predictability. The Millman, the paper boy, evening TV. Everywhere you look, everywhere there's a heart. Something. And I'm all on to. Everywhere you look. Everywhere there's a heart. There's a heart.
Starting point is 00:15:04 There's a bad. We kind of slid into that parking spot. That was not very great. We'll get it. Okay, we have two more that we're going to do. We have about 18 more in here. Let's see. And this one, widely known, but I don't know if you ever played it.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Friends. Oh, come on. So no one told your life was going to be this way. Just the joke it lies up broke. It's stuck another something like that. It's like you're always stuck in second gear. Well, it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year. Come on, y'all.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I'll be there for you. When the rain starts to pull. I'll be there for you. I'll be there for you because you're there for you. That's good. That's good. All right. One more.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Let me draw one more from the hat. The last one. I don't know how you would do this one. Is it old? It's old and I don't know the song. What is it? Law and Order. Oh, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
Starting point is 00:16:21 So we're starting easy and ending it. Well, not on purpose. That's what we're doing. Yeah. Because let me tell you something. What? 13-year-old Travis watched Law and Order SVU every single day. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:34 I mean, Olivia Benson, the other dude. Christopher Maloney's his name, the actor. Oh, man. That's the longest running TV. show in history. But it's a song that you sing? No, it's all, it's like music. I learned this when I was younger. I hope I can see.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Let me get my tuning right here. So basically, you know all TV show theme songs besides... At least I know these four. I'm glad. I didn't know Golden Girls, but yeah. All right, I got this. I'm just going to believe that was that. I have no idea. Like, he just going to play some stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I know. I know that. There, when you just did the more recognizable part, just there. But then it got a little little much and I was like yeah yeah it sounds about right when am I going to do question I thought I thought that was going to be my most well-received one to be honest with you someone out there right now listening is like that guy is a tv show yeah music virtuoso let me play track one a little bit of call it country on Travis denning's new EP dirt road down again here's call it country we keep that needle in the red on that hell raising meter crank that
Starting point is 00:18:11 charlie danels out and forward a Chevy speaker slow it down on this part of Town ain't afraid to get money Yeah, call it what you want to We just call it country Nice That's my favorite on there It is? Yeah, to play live
Starting point is 00:18:25 I would imagine A lot of energy there, huh? Yeah, it's like our show opener right now with brothers And it's awesome At what point your show Do you play your only number one? Right at the end, my friend
Starting point is 00:18:36 Right at the end We play Abby last But yeah, that's when everybody's like Well, I guess I won't go get a beer During this song You know, I'll listen to this one Track 2, Dirt Road Down Here we go.
Starting point is 00:19:17 want us to do? I'll do anything. I'll do anything you say. We're out on tour with Brothers Osborne and Teneal Towns right now, just rocking and rolling, playing my only number one and the other songs that aren't number ones. Yeah. Yes, there we go. I like that spirit. Hey, how would you define your hairstyle? Because I'm going to tell you, when you and I were talking, you're about to go to a wedding and you're like, should I call my hair before the while? I said, yes, absolutely. Don't go to a wedding looking like that. But then you went to the wedding looking like that, and now you've continue to grow it. Is this the thing?
Starting point is 00:19:45 Yeah, I don't know. I got a lot of compliments on the long hair at that wedding. Do you think it's because people don't know what to say? Yes. They're just kind of like, oh, my gosh, he's hair. So they're like, oh, looks good. Hair intervention right now or something. Because I'm not really fan of it.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Your pictures right here in front of us, because we always put people on the screen. That is an old, old photo. Okay. Well, I was going to say, because you have like short, short, short hair there. And it's like, oh, look at this. And that was before I gained the COVID-19. too. That's a little skinny Trave right there. I don't,
Starting point is 00:20:15 I'm probably going to cut it soon. It's officially at that point where if I don't at least get it cut like styled or something, like then it's just getting a little middle schooler on me, just long and straight. So I'll probably go back. Travis Denning. I mean, you don't have to.
Starting point is 00:20:31 He came. I mean, now I definitely don't want to cut it because y'all are yelling at me. He played. We talked hair. Always a great appearance from Travis Denning. You guys check out. Dot Rowdown. Travis, thank you. Thank you, brother. Good luck.
Starting point is 00:20:42 There he is. Travis standing, everybody. I appreciate it. Bobby Bonsh. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Ahead of dropping her new album next week, Carly Pierce shared a clip of one of the new songs. It's called What He Didn't Do.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Ganderwood talks about what her fans can expect from her Las Vegas residency. I would expect sequins, fringe, all the things I love, all the songs that people know, and we're just going to have a blast with it. Very excited. Thomas Wrett admitted that. at the start of the pandemic really messed with him. The first 30 or 40 days of quarantine, I was freaking out because I did not know what to do. You know, I was like, we're supposed to be in rehearsal.
Starting point is 00:21:34 We're supposed to be on the road. And my wife was like, honey, I think you have to just realize that you can't do this right now. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. You know we love a good metal detector story.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Especially when they find something that's been missing. I mean, because the heck, it's happened to Amy. She lost a ring. She wouldn't rent a detective. Did you rent it or buy it? No, I went. You can rent them from like a hardware supply store where I lived in Southern Pines and I took it to my house, found the ring, returned the metal detector. I should have kept it for a little bit and gone around town and soon what I could find.
Starting point is 00:22:09 That sounds like something you would have done as one of your hobbies for about a week. It's kind of your hobby style, about a week at a time. A Massachusetts man was combed a beach with a metal detector. He found a locket containing the ashes of the owner's father and was able to find the woman that had lost it. two months earlier. Now, that's more than just spending money on a bracelet or an earring. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Like the ashes of your parent. He was using his metal detector. He was trying to find a diamond ring because a nurse had lost it in town and he found something. Oh, it's a heart-shaped locket. And it had the words, Miss You printed on it.
Starting point is 00:22:45 And so he opened it and was like, oh, that looks like that's ashes. I bet that's human remains. Wow. Closes it up, posted on Facebook, a bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Finds her. Gets it back to her.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Two months later. She probably thought it was gone. Two months? Oh, yeah, for sure. That's never coming back. No. Except for the work of one man and one metal detector. That's what it's all about right there.

Last week we talked on the show about Amy getting this scam email letter that said, hey, you bought a computer. We went through your PayPal. Here's how much you paid.
Starting point is 00:27:27 If there's any problem, let us know. Yeah. Said the payment's been approved, went through. If I didn't make the purchase to please call them. You didn't make the purchase. Denies. It was $1,300, they said went through. So most people, myself included, would have been like, oh, crap, I didn't make that purchase.
Starting point is 00:27:40 I need to call and settle this. Yes. And so then you realized it was a scam. You didn't call. Yeah, but the email was so legit. But I was like, there's no way I'm going to call. calling them and giving them my info. So this is us doing a PSA here.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Lunchbox with Amy by his side called the scammers. Do you guys want to hear this? Oh, yeah. So Lunchbox, you just called the, was it an 800 number or did it have a real area code on it? I had a real area code, real number, and they pick up. And I mean, they just act like they are the troubleshooters for PayPal. Like, oh, you have a problem with PayPal? Let me help you out.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Okay, here we go. Here's the first clip. Thank you for calling support. How can I help you? Yeah, man, I got a charge on my PayPal account for a MacBook Pro, but I didn't buy a MacBook Pro. So let me check how come this happened, because in my system, the order has been pre-authorized through your email ID. Have you browse any unsecure websites on the internet? Not that I know of, no.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Not your know of. So, sir, then this is shortly looking like a case of fraudulent charges along with the identity theft. Oh, no. So in this whole scenario, your network is being compromised. Oh, no. So we need to fix that problem. So what are going to do? I'm going to transfer your case to the network security department of PayPal. They will diagnose your network. Oh, no. They'll fix that for you. So right now, I'm still believing it. Yeah, me too. They've not asked for anything. No, it sounds real, too. Yeah, no, I mean, so that I, I thought, oh, no, this isn't a fake email. I really did get scammed.
Starting point is 00:29:19 In this next clip, though, is it scammy? Like, is it being scammie? Okay, here is, what if it is? We find out really that Amy did get scammed. Okay, here is the second part of the call. All right. So just have a look on your keyboard on the very left bottom-hand side. Can you see your windows key?
Starting point is 00:29:36 I see the windows key. All right, so what do you have to do? You have to press and hold that windows key along with the letter R, R as in Robert. What do you see in front of your screen? I see like a lot of numbers, like my network ID or whatever. No, no, sir. You are going on the wrong path. So you are unable to follow the instructions, which I'm telling you right now.
Starting point is 00:29:59 So in this scenario, I'm putting a hold on this transaction and will forward your concern to the higher authorities, all right? Well, can I give you my... Well, wait, sir. Sir, you're a scam artist. Why are you scamming people, you fool? Sir, this is a fraudulent department of PayPal. No, you don't work for PayPal. You're a scam artist.
Starting point is 00:30:16 You're a scam artist. Did you hang up? Wait. Yeah, I know. I'm still worried. Yeah. Hey, PayPal, more like not my pal. I'm going to try to scam you out of money.
Starting point is 00:30:28 All right, bye. Where was the scam? Right. No, no. He wanted my computer access information. Here's the problem. He said he was going to transfer me. It was the exact same guy.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Yeah, I heard that. It was absolutely a scam. He was going to want my like, network ID and all that and I ain't giving you that bud yeah I think he wanted he's gonna like hack into your computer yeah he was he was gonna take over my computer from wherever he was at that's what he wanted technically mine lunchbox was using my computer to do all this wait so what do you do what do you say push window windows are something do that now we couldn't figure out we have a max I don't know what the is the window the button the little earth thing do we feel like this is a scam now I'm convinced it's
Starting point is 00:31:12 no it's absolutely a scam it's it's like if you have a desk And that's the thing. And I didn't have a desktop. And so if you do it, it does stuff pops up. And I'm like, uh-uh, I ain't giving you that stuff. Mike, what does that do? I see you looking that up. Does it, do you think he was trying to get his system information?
Starting point is 00:31:28 Yeah. Yeah, he was probably trying to like download something onto the computer that he could look back and run later. Because that's a command run. You can like load a program onto your computer. Yeah. Oh. Fishy. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:39 All we're doing on this segment here is PSA to be very aware. Yes. Everything you click. If you get an. Instagram message from somebody famous unless there's a blue check mark. Don't be putting your information places. Don't be giving information. Don't be reading off computer numbers.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Don't be reading off credit card numbers. Pay attention to little details. Like if they put you on hold to connect you with higher managers and their voice doesn't change. All right. I feel like we did a little bit of good here. Yeah. Okay. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Caitlin and I went to dinner last night. We go to this Mexican restaurant and order chips and queso on a meeting. And I look down and realize I don't have my wedding ring on. And I've been pretty good about remembering wearing a wedding ring. At times I take it off when I'm home. Like, I'm not used to wearing jewelry, but the rubber one is pretty easy because it doesn't feel like anything's on. So I've been A plus about it, but I forgot. And I forgot to wear my wedding ring.
Starting point is 00:32:31 To her. And she's like, what? You forgot to wear your wedding ring? Now everybody's going to think you're single. Oh. And I was like, okay. They didn't care that much anyway when I was. And so she was kind of kidding about it.
Starting point is 00:32:42 And she was like, well, she goes, I never forget my ring. And I said, well, it costs a little more the mind does. And so she's like, I bet you people notice. And I'm like, no way. So we're eating, blah, blah, blah. We're about to leave. And the waitress comes up and goes, so what are you guys? Like boyfriend, girlfriend?
Starting point is 00:32:56 Okay. No way. And I'm like, what do you mean? Well, she goes, we don't have a wedding ring on. So I just assume you guys were like boyfriend girlfriend. And I look over at Caitlin. She goes, mm-hmm, I told you. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Did Caitlin set that up? Because that's a good joke if she did. I don't think so. But I couldn't believe it when the waitress was like, are you guys? She was like, what are you guys celebrating? his boyfriend girlfriend? That's funny. And I was like, no, I just forgot to wear my wedding ring.
Starting point is 00:33:20 I was like, dang. Okay, yeah. Well, she had her ring on, so I guess she all could be engaged. I've only ever forgot it once. Yeah, true, true. I'm good about it for the most part. You're going to lose it, Bones. It happens.
Starting point is 00:33:30 I've got two, though. I have the rubber one that cost a nickel. And then I've got the fancy one that I want a little too hard on for me. That if I do lose, that's trouble. Because it's, you know, it's trouble. I want a little too fancy. So we did that and we watched the show We're watching clickbait on Netflix
Starting point is 00:33:48 What's that? Anybody else watching that? No. Mike, are you watching it? I finished it. All eight episodes? All eight episodes. It's a new show on Netflix about Adrian Grenier is his name He was in Entourage.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Yeah. He all the sudden shows up in a video And he's like, hey, when this gets 5 million views, they're going to kill me And he's holding it up and it's on basically YouTube And so it starts to become viral And then he's holding up other sides It's like I abuse women.
Starting point is 00:34:14 And they're like, did you really do it? Is this a prank? Then it's eight episodes. Oh, my. It's pretty good. Right now we're five in. I give it a B plus A minus range. At times, the acting's a little bit cheesy, but overall, we're having a good time with it.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Like, it gets pretty dark sometimes. Mike Dea, what do you think of clickbait? Because you've finished the whole thing. Yeah, it's a fun watch. Great suspense, great mystery. You'll enjoy it. What would you give it? Probably about a B-plus overall
Starting point is 00:34:44 The entire series That's about where I am on it too How did y'all hear about it? Caitlin was like, hey, let's watch clickbait Oh, okay And I was like, okay, here you go That'll do it It's that easy
Starting point is 00:34:54 We just take turns with Sometimes I'm like, hey, let's watch this And she'll watch an entire You know, time traveling movie with Chris Pratt On Amazon, it's three hours long But she's never wrong on serieses We did Mayor of East Town because of her And I was like, I don't know
Starting point is 00:35:07 And it was great, HBO Plus We're doing nine perfect Strangers, which another episode comes out, I guess, now, today, tonight. And that's starting to get good. So I kind of trust her when it comes to series. Although I didn't watch that the one that she was watching Virgin River. No, it's a different one. I don't know. There's one that I was watching. I just couldn't get it. I just couldn't get into. Yeah. So that's what, are you watching anything now? Yes. The Bill Clinton stuff. It's all over the place now. And like 9-11 stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Oh, is that one good? I saw that on Hulu. The documentary, 9-11? Yeah. So 9-1. Yeah, so 9-11 inside the president's war room is on Apple Plus, and it's so good. And then there's other documentaries on Hulu, yeah, that I haven't checked out yet. But I'm very into the Bill Clinton American Crime Story. And then also Hulu has a Bill and Monica, like Truth or Lies show. The American Crime Story is already out? Yes, came out yesterday.
Starting point is 00:36:02 Oh, I didn't know that because I want to watch that too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's just so much. You know, yesterday we're talking about 90 The Fiance, and it's a massive show and none of us have seen it. It's because there's just so much to watch now. Like sometimes if there's nothing to watch and you turn on Netflix, you're like, you just can't find anything to watch because there's too many things. Yes. That's the life we live now, overstimulated, undersatisfied.
Starting point is 00:36:21 Yeah. It's, mm-hmm. This stuff is fascinating to me right now. And it's crazy because it's like Bill Clinton would never have survived. Today? If he had done that today. Ever. No chance.
Starting point is 00:36:32 It's crazy what he got away with. That new Marvel movie made close to $100 million in theaters last weekend. Wow. It's just crazy in theater. It was a three-day weekend, though, right, Mike? Yeah. So movie Mike is here. You saw it.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Just review it. It's a fantastic Marvel movie. You learn all about this character because he's a brand-new superhero, but the action in it is amazing, like very well, like choreographed. It's funny. And overall, one of my favorite Marvel movies.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Really? Yeah. Well, they're still pumping these Marvel movies out of, huh? Fast. Are they going to just redo them all at some point? Way down the line, but they have so many new characters that are coming out with,
Starting point is 00:37:08 so that would be a while. So you recommend this movie. Give it a review. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 magical rings. Can I watch it on Disney Plus? No, not yet. 45 days. You have to go to the movie theater once.
Starting point is 00:37:21 No, not me. Sorry, bud. I didn't like movie theater before the pandemic. But it's great, huh? Yeah, and the best thing about it, you don't have to see any other Marvel movie before this. It's totally self-contained. So if you haven't seen a single one, you can watch it.
Starting point is 00:37:34 That's cool because Caitlin hasn't watched the Marvel movies, and we were going to watch the Captain America series on Disney Plus. like Winter Soldier. Yeah. She was like, I don't get any of this. And so we kind of aborted mission. But we did watch the one with the black, was black and white?
Starting point is 00:37:48 The turn into color? Wanda vision? Yeah, that was good. Yeah. You really didn't have to know much about Marvel to watch that one. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Thank you, Mike D. You're welcome. Check out Mike D's podcast. It's called Movie Mike's movie podcast. Here's Amy's Pile of Stories. So we're still in the beginning of September and a lot of people are probably getting dressed this week thinking, can I wear white?
Starting point is 00:38:07 Should I wear white? What should I do? And yes, a stylist has weighed in on it, read an article this morning about how you can absolutely wear white after Labor Day. This is some rule we follow from the early 1900s that means nothing now. I don't even think about this is a rule anymore. I feel like this is such a 1994 thing that people cared about. It still crosses my mind. Let me walk you through what I do.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Okay. Is it clean? Yes or mostly yes, I will wear it. The smell test? I don't always smell test it because I'm not. near you guys in this room, so I don't feel the needs to smeller. Well, and Eddie, post-COVID doesn't have all this smell back, so you need another plan. Well, Eddie, and then Morgan, number two, has lost some of her taste and smell as well.
Starting point is 00:38:51 Where are you right now, Morgan? My smell is still 100% gone, but my taste is like 80% back. Oh, yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah. Is it weird to taste things without smell? Are you realizing how important smell is? Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Well, everything, I mean, what's most important about smell is smelling myself, right? I just never know if I smell bad. Oh, that's interesting. That's the worst part. The other night I was getting into bed and Caitlin goes, you smell worse than you've ever smelled in your life. And I was like, what do you mean? She goes, you should smell yourself. And I did.
Starting point is 00:39:18 And I was like, there's definitely like a, you can like taste it. It was that bad. And so I wouldn't take a shower. Well, I went to a shower. First I was like, why do you always told me what to do? She was like, I don't. You just smell really bad. And I was like, okay, so I took a shower.
Starting point is 00:39:31 But then I got in bed and I was like, what if I was thinking like you guys? What if you couldn't smell yourself? You wouldn't know. And you're just running around town all willy-nilly with your. Your armpits smelling bad. Dang. Do you think it's coming back, Morgan? Do you feel like...
Starting point is 00:39:43 Yeah, I'll get like hints of a smell of something. I'm like, oh, I smelled that. But then I'm like, I doesn't smell right, though. So it's like, it's coming. It's just very slowly happening. That will be weird. Well, I'm just thankful you got your taste back, though. Yes, I can taste food again, which is amazing.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Because you'd rather have taste and smell. Yes. That's for sure. Of the senses, you'd rather have sight first. Yes. Hearing second. You're going to need your ears, yes. Taste third.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Smell fourth. Touch fifth. Oh, I don't know, bones. What are like, what if you touch hot stuff? Like, you need to know, like, right? Still, though, I would go touch over smell. Oh, can you imagine if you couldn't touch things? Yeah, I think I'll touch over smell. What else you got, Amy? Well, so just wrapping up this stylus story, other rules you can ditch are wearing black with brown. You can definitely do that together, wearing black and navy together, and horizontal stripes are okay. Okay. Now, TGI Friday's onion ring snacks, the kind that you see in the grocery store with the chips, like they have onion rings there. Well, they're now being sued because this guy, Daniel Hiltz in Illinois, says there's no onions in there. There's not real onions. So he feels misled. You know, I was eating a Laffy Taffy the other day.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Didn't laugh at the joke. There was no laughing in there. So I think I'm going to sue them. Everybody's suing everything now. I know. a sweet potato. It's processed food in a bag. Now, if I go order like an onion ring at a restaurant or blooming onion, it's not a real onion, then I'm going to be irritated.
Starting point is 00:41:16 That's different. You're still not going to sue. Okay. So Brett Eldridge was talking about a new song called Cinnamon. Oh, you made me want to go floating down a red. He was asking, hey, should we put this on the set for the Good Day tour? And I vote yes. Are you going to the Good Day Tour? I want to, yes. It kicks off September 16th in Cleveland.
Starting point is 00:41:47 I don't know. I need to look at the... He doesn't come close. He doesn't? Well, what are we going to do? Because I will travel. Not hear that song. Yeah, because Britney Spencer's opening for him. I just feel like it's going to be... And then who's the other person?
Starting point is 00:41:58 Morgan Evans. Morgan Evans, also awesome. So, yeah, I want to go. Who will be in tomorrow, by the way? Morgan Evans is in tomorrow. It didn't even plan that. The closest, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Maryland Heights, Toledo.
Starting point is 00:42:11 I've driven to Cincinnati before. There you go. Have that it. Okay, here we go. Road trip. All right, that's it. I made me. That's my pile.
Starting point is 00:42:17 That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So I just want to shout out to the NICU nurses inside the Oshner Health Hospital in New Orleans. Obviously, Hurricane Ida was hitting, and they had a tough call to make. But these nurses volunteered to stay through the night with the babies who needed them. The parents were not able to stay at the hospital with their babies.
Starting point is 00:42:44 They were evacuated. So what they did is they put cameras. on each baby in the NICU so that way parents could watch their babies. There was 39 of them. And then what's cool about these nurses is- Can they put cameras on the babies? Yeah, they're volunteering to stay there through the hurricane. But that means they're not at home with their family during the hurricane,
Starting point is 00:43:05 all so that they can make sure that these babies are okay. There's a lot. I know. There's a lot to process here, a lot of goodness to process. Sometimes I'll watch my dog at doggy daycare with a camera. It's kind of like that. And I'm like, except like, 10 million. times better and cooler and for a way better reason.
Starting point is 00:43:21 And even when I watch my dog, I'm like, they got a camera in there. But to put on a baby and these nurses stayed behind, that's a great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Last week, Amy had told a story about a package that was dropped off at her house, except it was in her house. Huge package. And you were like, did the delivery driver open my door and put it in the house? we kind of debated it.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Here's a voicemail we got regarding that. Hey, studio. Good morning. I delivered for 18 and a half years, UPS. And, yeah, we go inside, especially for elderly. Ladies that's pregnant, stuff like that, especially if it's a big, big box. It's the door, like you said, nudge it. It's open, put it inside and just close the door and leave.
Starting point is 00:44:07 No big deal. 18 years, he's a UPS guy. Is he confessing, though? Because that doesn't sound right. Well, he had a voice changer on. It's like one of those. Just so you know. He said they do it for elderly or pregnant women.
Starting point is 00:44:20 But that's not you. But it was a huge box, though, is what I'm saying. I think they were just being nice. That's what they did. They must have nudged or done a little wiggle-wiggle, and they were like, oh, it's open. I'm just going to put it right there. So can we close the case?
Starting point is 00:44:31 I think that case is closed. It's a nice delivery guy. No other explanation, quite honestly. Over to AIME with the Morning Corny. The Morning Corny. Where do bad rainbows go? Where do bad rainbows go? Prism.
Starting point is 00:44:49 Just a light sentence, though. Prism. Got it. That was the morning corny. Prism. Light sentence. Light. Over Labor Day weekend, lunchbox went to the beach in Alabama.
Starting point is 00:45:04 And so with the sun shining bright, he approached strangers and did his little bit where he offers to rub sunscreen on them, seeing if they would let him. Oh. So we have three clips here. And what is your approach? Do you just walk? Are you wearing a shirt? No, no, no, I have no shirt on.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Okay. I have no shirt on and I just have a thing of sunscreen in me. And I'm in my swimsuit. And I just go up to them and I tell them I'm part of the sunburn protection foundation. Like SPF, get it? Like, and I want to, hey, you're looking a little red. You need me to rub some sunscreen on you. You know, I can rub it wherever you want.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Three people. Guys or girls. Give us the breakdown. I'll mix. Of the three, give us the breakdown that we have here. Ah, you got guys, you got girls. I mean, some people, wait, wait, there's three people. No, no, no, no, some people, because some, like, have two people sitting there.
Starting point is 00:45:53 So that's what I'm saying, like, it's a mix. Like, I didn't discriminate. If they were there and they looked red, I went up to them. Okay, here's the first clip. Excuse me, ladies, you guys are looking red, red, red, okay? And I am a member of the SPF, the Sunburn Protection Foundation, and I am here to help you out if you need me to rub some sunscreen on you. We're good, buddy.
Starting point is 00:46:12 You sure? We're trained professionals. How long you lived here? Your feet are looking a little red. I know. You just spray your feet. Yes, I've been burying them in the sand. I'm trying to hide them.
Starting point is 00:46:22 The top of your feet will get red. Back and your ears. Yes. Well, he's got a hat on. Okay, all right. Well, let me know. I'll be around. Not only did they say no.
Starting point is 00:46:32 He called you Bud, and they told you what you needed to sunscreen. That's awesome. Okay, there's O for one. All right. Next one. How's going, man? Man, you're looking a little red. Do you need some sunscreen?
Starting point is 00:46:44 I'm good. Okay, I'm part of the sunburn protection foundation. I offer to rub sunscreen on people if they're getting red. Pretty awesome. Yeah, so I didn't know if you need me to rub your back or anything. I'm good, man. You know, just like to protect you. Oh, I know.
Starting point is 00:46:56 No, nothing weird about it, you know what I'm saying? Just like, you know, your shoulders look a little red, so I was trying to help you out. I mean, these hands are professional sun screeners. I can tell, man. They look all sticky and slick and. Yeah, and I mean, I'll rub it on your back, no big deal. That's okay, man. All right.
Starting point is 00:47:09 Thank you so much. Free in charge, man. All right. Take it easy. I feel like he thought lunchbox was hitting on him. Uh-huh. I told him nothing weird, man. You were like, I'm part of the sun for...
Starting point is 00:47:19 Part of the protection. It's a hard way to get out. When you make up a foundation, it's hard to remember the name, guys. Let me tell you. I'm here to protect you from the sun. The sun, the sun, the sun. I say, I say the sun. The hot ball in the sky.
Starting point is 00:47:35 All right, next one. Excuse me, ladies. I'm part of the SPF, the sunburn protection foundation. And you ladies look like you're getting a little red. Do you need me to rub some suns suns? screen on you. Are you sure? I mean, that's my job out here is make sure you guys don't get burned so I can rub it on your backs, your legs, wherever you need it. You sure? It's free of charge. Thank you. All right. I was trying to do a common courtesy, but thank you very much. Watch out for sunburns.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Nobody took it. Nobody. I mean, everybody thought they were okay, but when they're, when they look in the mirror later and they're all sunburned, they're like, man, I wish I took that guy up on his offer. Well, and not to distract from what you're doing, but how does your wife feel about you, walking down beach shirtless going, can I rub sunscreen on you? I'm from the summer 100% embarrassed. 100% embarrassed. Is she around you at all when you're doing this? I don't want to be anywhere near you.
Starting point is 00:48:26 So she makes me go way down the beach. Like I have to go walk about 10 minutes away. And are you embarrassed by this? No, it's hilarious. It's so fun to see their look like, is he serious right now? Yeah. And I'm doing a nice thing. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University. An affordable

Someone that says they're a time traveler from the year 2714 has announced three dates to watch this month. Most of the time, these are like five years from now, two years from now. Here we go. Three dates. September 11th of this month coming up.
Starting point is 00:52:40 That is next Saturday. This Saturday. This Saturday. He says an alien will take 4,000 skilled workers and children to the planet Prexima B because a hostile alien species is coming to Earth. Okay. I don't know what that means. Explain that to me.
Starting point is 00:52:56 He's going to zap up. On Saturday, I don't know if they zap or pull, but 4,000 skilled workers and children are going to a different planet. Oh, from here? Yes, because this alien knows we're about to be attacked. Okay. September 14th, the largest hurricane in history will hit the East Coast. Well, that's scary. Becoming the first category 6th.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Well, the first one wasn't? The first one was aliens were attacking. I don't believe it. Yeah, the first one might be believable. September 26th, he predicts a chimpanzee with mutated vocal cords will talk and have mysterious things to say. That would be amazing. Yeah, that would be cool. I'd like that one.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Let's do that. And you can laugh now. You guys are getting your laughs then. But if any of that crap happens, you know, you'd be there. He ain't going to be laughing. So there you go. Remember these dates. September 11th, which is this Saturday.
Starting point is 00:53:42 4,000 people to a new planet. If that happens, just know that we're about to be attacked as well. The 14th, Category 6 Hurricane, the 26th, a chimpanzee with mutated vocal cords will talk. Definitely, that's going to be on TikTok, right? The chimpanzee, if that happens, the chimp's going to be on TikTok. Also, there's a new Bigfoot siding. What do you believe more, aliens or Bigfoot? Bigfoot?
Starting point is 00:54:05 Bigfoot. Bigfoot. There's been another Bigfoot siding in northern Idaho And this is either a guy in a Bigfoot costume Or it's Bigfoot. It's one of the two. The problem is with these videos, it's only three seconds long. There's a clip of this guy walking through the woods And these Bigfoot catchers, the experts are like,
Starting point is 00:54:23 This is the most real shot of the Bigfoot we've ever had. So maybe the Bigfoot runs away because I try to get shots to my birds And my birds' videos last about three seconds and they're gone. They fly away. Yeah, Bigfoot runs. This Bigfoot's walking like one mile an hour through the woods. Bones, you've gone deer hunting. When you see the big bucks,
Starting point is 00:54:37 They don't stay for very long. Yeah. But they go like this. Exactly. This guy's just chilling. Bigfoot or aliens? Which one is more believable? I guess I go.
Starting point is 00:54:46 Aliens, but not in the form that we think. I think of like a, like a, just a ball of something. Okay. Bigfoot, easily. I mean, come on, guys. It's actually on Earth. There's a lot of forest out there, bones. Bigfoot.
Starting point is 00:54:58 The expert says the new Bigfoot video is no hoax. Okay. Mike, do you watch the video? Yeah. What do you think about that video? It looks like a dude in a costume. It doesn't like a guy. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:55:06 Well, then that's what it did. But a big guy. Okay, so that's cool. Yeah. That's impressive. Harry. Remember those parents that paid someone to dress up like Bickfoot and come to their kids like six-year-old birthday party and it scared all the kids and like traumatized them?
Starting point is 00:55:21 That's awesome. Maybe that guy's just walking to that party and they just caught him on the way there. On the phone now is Abby who was calling us from Texas. Abby. How are you this morning? Hi, good morning. Good morning. Everybody say hi to Abby.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Hi, Abby. Oh, hi. We just yell all different things. We're going to play a little game called Never Gonna Get It. It's a really hard trivia game, but you have multiple chances to win, okay? All right, let's do this. All right, here's the question for everybody in the room. Men are more than twice as likely as women to do this while shopping.
Starting point is 00:56:00 What is it? Men are more than twice as likely as women to do this while shopping. What is it? Now we have three levels here. Level one is Abby takes a shot at it. Level two is Abby gets to pick a person on the show to take a shot at it. And level three is a coin flip. And if she loses all three rounds, she gets no prize.
Starting point is 00:56:33 By the way, the prize today? Some crap from the back. Yes. some junk from the trunk some prizes of different sizes. All right, Abby, I'm going to go to you first. Men are more than twice
Starting point is 00:56:46 as likely as women to do this while shopping. You can win if you get it right. What do you think it is? Is it take a nap or sit down? Okay, that's good. I do that a lot. Not bad. We'll go to the mall.
Starting point is 00:57:01 I'll just go have a seat in one of those middle areas and Caitlin will go do her thing. That is not right. So, level one, uh-uh, wrong. Now you can team up with any member of the show here. You guys all have your answers? Yes. Feeling good.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Who feels really good? Me. Really, really good. Anybody feel great? Is that better than really, really good? Yeah. Yes, great. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:57:25 So she was, everything she says off the table? Yeah. Okay. So men are more than twice as likely as women to do this while shopping. It is not sit down, rest, take a nap. Nothing in that world. Because no woman does that. Just the men.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Yeah. True. That's why that's wrong. That's a good point, yeah. Okay, you can pick Abby from Amy, lunchbox, Eddie, Morgan, or Ramundo in the glass room. Who would you like? Let's go with my girl, Amy.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Oh, man, I'm the only one that didn't say I was confident. I was trying to stay quiet, so maybe she wouldn't pick me. But you're her girl. He's like, I don't know. And, yeah, you're my girl, too. Thank you. What do you have? I have yawn.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Yon? That's your answer? Yes. It was sit down, but that wasn't it. Like, I had sit down originally. Hey, Abby, I'm going to give you a different person. Yeah, yeah, good one, both. I mean, that's a really bad answer. Yeah, that's a really bad answer. Is it, though?
Starting point is 00:58:20 Amy. Yon? Well, it's not right. Okay, but I went with that last minute. I had sit down, and I thought that was a great answer. That was a good answer. It's not yawn. So, you know what? You can pick somebody else here, Abby. Lunchbox, Eddie, Morgan, or Ray Mundo. I know I'm normally better at this game. Okay, let's go with Ray Munda.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Okay. What the world is wrong with you? Let's check with everybody before, Ray. Go on to you, lunchbox. What do you have? Well, first pot to my head was laugh, or steal something, but then I decided with men, go and use the bathroom. They don't, women don't use the store bathroom.
Starting point is 00:58:56 This is your genius. Yeah, that's a lot better than yawn. Go to the bathroom. No, it's not. A little bit, because yawn is like blink. Yeah, like, what? You breathe. No, because they're bored.
Starting point is 00:59:04 Get it. Guys are more bored. at shopping than women so they yawn because they're tired. They want to sit down and take a man. Eddie. Dude, this is the best. I don't know what direction these guys were going, but men compare prices when they shop.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Women, they're like, ah, I'll just take it. Don't care about the price. I disagree with that. I think it's the opposite. Okay? Morgan. I don't know, but I know that some women don't try on clothes, but I know guys do, so try on clothes. That's not it.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Women don't try on clothes. I feel like women don't. I know. It's tricky because sometimes women don't. They'll just go and buy and they'll be like, I'll try it on at home. They do take it. Return it later. Well, I'll tell you this right now. All three of you guys are wrong. Oh, I thought that y'all were so confident. Oh, Amy's now rubbing it in. Yeah, because they're too. Oh, wait, Amy, did you just yawn? I couldn't tell.
Starting point is 00:59:54 No. Ray Mundo. I didn't. Mine was try on clothes outside of the fitting room. So just in the store. Oh, yeah. Just like throw on the jacket. Well, that makes sense. That's interesting. That answer is wrong too. Okay, let's go again. So, Abby, round two, you've lost again. Man, the actual answer is, ask a clerk for help.
Starting point is 01:00:15 Men are more than twice as likely to go up to a clerk. Yeah. Can I get some help here? Yeah, because women probably know how to navigate better and guys are just lost. Or we're just ready to get out of there. Guys are just like, hey, A to B, I need help. I want to get my thing and get gone. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Now it's a coin flip. Amy, you're so bitter right now and angry about your yawn. Amy, yawn was bad and that's okay. But lunchbook said go to the best. bathroom and I just feel like that's so how is that any better than mine? Well, yawn is such a thing that anybody can do right now too. It has nothing to do with me. Yeah, it has nothing to shopping.
Starting point is 01:00:44 Shopping, you're bored, you yawn. Okay. Um, we're going to do the coin flip. Abby, this is your chance to win level three. Would you like heads or tails? Heads, always. Okay, Amy, you can you can call it. Not call it. Just throw it to me. No, and it'll land on your table.
Starting point is 01:01:00 It's not going to, ah! What is it? Tales. What she picked? Heads. Oh, dang it. Wants, won't, won't, won. Abby. No one's ever lost all three rounds.
Starting point is 01:01:12 No, I'm telling you this is the first time we've had to. And according to our lawyers, we cannot give her a prize. No prizes from different sizes. Now I'm sad. Abby, what if we get you on again maybe later in the week and play again? Let's do it. Okay. Maybe next time I'll have better luck.
Starting point is 01:01:30 Okay. There she is. That is Abby, everybody. Don't play the lotto today. Yeah, today not. That's the first time we've had anyone to lose all three rounds and not good. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Yeah, I don't make something good. Chris is a guy out in Utah. He's a professional paraglider for the last three decades. About 10 years ago, he gets in an accident, hurts his spine, and he's in a wheelchair for a little bit. And then when he got to paraglide again, it opened his eyes. He's like, man, I got to start giving back to those people that don't get to experience this. So he started a nonprofit organization and people with spinal. court injuries, disabilities, mental
Starting point is 01:02:07 handicaps, old people, he takes them up paragliding for free. Oh, wow. That's cool. That's pretty cool. Especially because that's probably if you've been told you have limited abilities. That's probably something you never thought you'd be able to do. Yeah. Because he's been through it. And he wants people to know that, hey,
Starting point is 01:02:23 you can do anything you want. You're not limited. Hey, and their caregivers, they also get to go paragliding for free. Oh, wow. Hey, hey. Hey. It's probably so exhilarating too and just gives them like this feeling of like living. Hey, that's a good story. Hey, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.

Starting point is 01:06:05 That's get sunday.com. What's happening, friends? Glad everybody's here. It is time to do the news. Bobby's Big. Stories. According to a new study, if you speed, change lanes frequently, or hit your breaks a lot, it is costing you a lot of money. Oh.
Starting point is 01:06:24 So who is a speeder in the room? Me. One of four. Yeah, not. I'm not either, really. Who's changing lanes trying to get around people all the time? Depends. Am I trying to get around people all the time?
Starting point is 01:06:34 Trying to get to work. Yeah, probably a little bit. And how about a big break hitter? Anybody there? No. No. And the brakes. Amy, I act like you're a good driver.
Starting point is 01:06:44 I am. You're acting like you're not. I don't have accidents like on the highway in and out having to break or go fast. I hit things when I'm going like two miles an hour and my peripheral vision is off. So I hit like poles and basketball goals and fire hydrants and stuff. It just seems like every six months there's another incident. Yeah. Well, my.
Starting point is 01:07:04 latest incident, someone hit me. I have a police report to prove I had nothing to do with that. But it's like, dude, the seasons change, and Amy comes in with another incident. Kind of fun for us, but... We take bets. What's it going to be this time, boys? But yes, researchers found that speeding in and out of different lanes and slamming on the brakes, basically 20 bucks a month, if you're doing that, in gas.
Starting point is 01:07:27 A mother-in-law pierced her kids' ears without the mom's permission. Oh, no, bueno. You can't do that. You're the mother-in-law. You're not the mom. If your daughter went away with your mother-in-law, I thought it would look great. And she didn't ask you.
Starting point is 01:07:43 Okay, I would like for her to ask me. If my daughter wanted it, my mother-in-law's so nice, I'd probably be like, okay, fine. But you need to ask the parents' permission, because there might be a reason why they're not doing it. This mother said I blew up in my mother-in-law and my husband after he tried to defend her. Ooh.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Now he says I'm being unreasonable and making too big a deal out of this, but I can't seem to let it go. this moment was supposed to be mine. That's a good point. Yeah, because as the mom, like, that's something I took my daughter to get her second holes because her first holes she did with her birth mother in Haiti. And then second holes were with me. And it was really special because it was something she was excited to do.
Starting point is 01:08:20 And then I'm forever the person that made that happen for her. Ooh, now I'm starting to. So do you side with the mom more than the mother-in-law? Well, I've always been siding with the mom. But, yeah, I would have to, yeah, I would just be a disappointing moment. The Rock strikes again, pulls up to another tour bus. It was all set up. So let me play this first clip.
Starting point is 01:08:40 This is The Rock, and he's in his car, and he pulls up beside one of those tourist buses who are taking people around Hollywood. This is kind of funny. There's a tour bus here. Always tours through my neighborhood. Hey, you guys know where I can find the Rock? How you guys doing? I'll wait.
Starting point is 01:09:02 I'll wait. Don't worry. How are you guys doing? Everybody good? So he did it again this time. Come on. And so when he does this time, they're all in shock. And here, here's what happens.
Starting point is 01:09:14 Got a tour bus here, tour in my neighborhood. Hey, you guys know where I can find the rock? How are you guys doing? Everybody good? All right, you guys having a good trip. The people are just staring at. They're like, is this the rock? They're like paralyzed because he's so bad.
Starting point is 01:09:35 Like, they know it's him. Okay. But they're like, and they don't know what to do. Did you all see that police officer that looks exactly like the rock? And the rock's going to have a drink with them. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:46 Yeah. And the rock also has his own like tequila or something. I'm like, oh, nice plug. But would you be disappointed if like, because that reaction was way different than the first time? But the faces, though, they're just, their eyes are big. They just aren't yelling as much. Okay, sorry. He may be done doing this, right?
Starting point is 01:10:05 Yeah. Like, was that the last one? Or this is his new thing because we're. We keep playing every one of them. I mean, he said they are in his neighborhoods. It's not like he's having to go out of his way. Hey, Scoobah, Steve. After Lunchbox claimed he was one of the top 25 most famous people in country music.
Starting point is 01:10:18 We've tried to line up a tourist bus to pull up to him. Yeah. Have we been able to figure that out? Yeah, so logistics have been planned and now it just lined up a date. So we're going to do this probably next week with Lunchbox if possible? Next week, that's the goal, yeah. So it's going to happen for sure. Boom.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Let's go. And so in your mind, you're standing on the corner. Yep. stand on the corner, they pull up and I'll be like Hey, does anybody know where I can find lunchbox? And that's when What if nobody does anything? Or it could be just like the second one.
Starting point is 01:10:47 No, you can't claim it. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Because we're going to have video there. I'm not going to claim it. I'm saying it could go in one or two ways or they could just be in shock like, wow, that's really him. But it's most likely going to be the first one where they start screaming. Bone, that's a good point.
Starting point is 01:11:01 Like, is he going to get really hurt if no one screams or recognizes him at all? I think he'll go. they were, when no one recognizing is him, when no one recognizes him, he's going to go. They were so paralyzed. They didn't even recognize me. Never know what's going to happen. I don't think he'll be hurt. He'll block himself from those feelings, Eddie, because he's delusional about things sometimes.
Starting point is 01:11:19 So, no, I think that he'll, yes, he'll have a reason why they're not doing it and he'll convince himself, that's fact. Next week, we're going to do this. Bring it on. Are you excited or nervous? I'm about to make someone's vacation. They are going to be in town just thinking, oh, I'm going on a little tour, and then, boom, they're going to be like, wow!
Starting point is 01:11:36 And they're going to go home and brag about it. Straight to social media. We ran into lunchbox. Oh my gosh. Okay. That's it. That's the news. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Bobby's big. Stories. Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Norrie of the day. This story comes up to us from Melbourne, Florida. A man walked into a barbershop with a ski mask over his face, pulled out a gun. Nah, he wasn't there to rob the place.
Starting point is 01:12:01 You messed up my haircut. You messed up my haircut. I am so mad. I didn't. So the owner pulled out a gun, shot him in the hip. Oh. Oh. Oh. Well, that's really probably about something bigger than the hair. I don't know that that's true. He has anger. Not maybe with that person, but he's dealing with something. Some people are really into their hair. Yeah. I guess. But why wear a mask if you're going to admit you were there earlier getting your haircut?
Starting point is 01:12:27 And don't you have to show them where they messed your hair up? Can you just walk in and say, hey, man, like I was in here a couple days ago and I don't like the way it looks? Can you just recut it? Or if you are going to do the whole gun thing, why even wear a mask in? Because you have to show him where he messed up your hair. Maybe it was a COVID mask. Yeah, that's what I was saying. Maybe he required a mask. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Yes. Are you picturing an over-the-head ski mask? Yeah. Yeah, that's what it sounds like it was on a ski mask, I believe. Like wearing a mask. Yeah. I was like, you messed out my hair. Anyway, the whole thing's stupid.
Starting point is 01:12:56 I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Here are your biggest songs in country music this week. At number three, Thomas Wrett, country again. And it feels good to be country again. And number two, Lainey Wilson, things a man ought to know. Yeah, I know a few things a man ought to know. And your number one song for a second week is Luke Bryan and waves.
Starting point is 01:13:22 I like that one. I like one who goes, waves and waves and waves. Coming in waves and waves. That's a part I like right there. Your biggest pop song is the Kid Leroy and Justin Bieber. Stay. I guess run, wake up on waste. And the number one hip-hop song is from Doja Cat and the Weekend, you write.
Starting point is 01:13:52 That's your number one, number two, number three, all the big hits this week. Do you know any of those, Amy? I know all of them. Are you sure? Yeah, I swear. Yes. Sometimes I think you just act like you know the stuff. No.
Starting point is 01:14:02 I mean, I have a 14-year-old daughter. I know all of those because I just... I only know them from TikTok. Yeah. She's on my phone. She doesn't have TikTok. She doesn't have a device for TikTok, so she uses my phone. and so she's always near me, and I hear the songs.
Starting point is 01:14:17 Eddie came over to the house with his kids and had some big speakers in the yard, and I was like, what music do I play? And he's like, just pick the pop hits. I was like, too many bad words. And he goes, just search clean pop hits. You can. You search clean pop hits. It's great.
Starting point is 01:14:29 One of your sons, though, is that the monitor of bad words all the time? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's the one that stands by the radio, and he knows, I mean, I guess he knows every single bad word because he brings it down every time a bad word's about to happen. So he turns the volume down on the song. Yes. I mean, he must know the worst of the word. the worst because he's really good at it. That's funny. All right, we're done. Thank you guys.
