Starting point is 00:02:54 Finn.com. Own the dream. Yeah, welcome to Thursday show. Good morning, studio. Yesterday, we're talking about how new brides, meaning today. They don't want to do the bouquet toss because they don't want the attention being on anybody else, meaning the person who catches the bouquet. So we're talking about that, and people were leaving comments, and so I got a hold of Kara who made a comment. Hey, Kara. Hey, I'm here.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Hey, what do you think about this bouquet toss? Well, I was thinking, I'm not going to throw the bouquet at my wedding, not because I'm selfish and wanted to be all about me. But the last wedding I was at, I was in my early 20s and the only other girls that were going up to catch the bouquet were five and six years old. And it was embarrassing. What do you mean? So only kids were trying to catch it? Well, I was like the only single girl. Oh, I got it.
Starting point is 00:03:59 So it brings back pain from your life. Yeah, so I think it's embarrassing. and I want to keep mine and save it. Can you throw it and then ask for it back? Because this isn't only ceremonial that they catch it? I don't know. So you're getting married a second time? I don't think they give it back.
Starting point is 00:04:18 I think if you throw it, it's gone. Oh, is it? Well, listen, I never been married. I've tried to catch the garter before. That's what happens. Oh, for the guys. Yeah. She throws the garter over, or he does or something.
Starting point is 00:04:29 And then everybody fights for it. But I always feel kind of creepy that I'm trying to steal his wife's underwear. Yeah. Like, that's always a thing. I'm like, why don't want to? Like, maybe I do want to, but I can't let that be known. You know what I mean? I get it.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Yeah. Hey, what are you doing today, Kara? Work right now a few minutes away, so I got to go. Okay. Okay, Kara, thank you. See you later. Appreciate you. Don't be late.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Don't be late. That's the first time we got ran for work. Hey, Bobby, appreciate the call, but I got to go. Yeah, appreciate you. Great. The Bobby Bones show. Bobby Bones. And that's how I got this scar.
Starting point is 00:05:04 We're going to play that game. We go around the room, tell where your scar is and how you got it. And to start our segment, some nice game show music from the 70s. Here we go. Amy, hashtag, and that's how I got this scar. So I have a scar on my forehead. Most people notice it and ask me, how did you get that scar? And I had a babysitter. We were playing high and go seek.
Starting point is 00:05:24 But I also had just started playing softball and was learning how to slide into bases. So my parents' brass bed with big metal screws coming out of it was bass. and I decided to slide head first, and my arms went through the bed, and my head hit a screw, and I busted my head open, how to go to the hospital, get stitches with a babysitter.
Starting point is 00:05:45 And that's how I got this scar. And that's how I got this scar. I have a scar that runs from my sternum down to right below my belt line, and I had my spleen taken out. I fell off a house onto a boat trailer. A few more hours out of drown internally in my own blood. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Yada, yada, yada. At the end, I'm here living. Mm-hmm. but that was pretty dramatic and that's how I got the still really big scar that goes right through my belly button I only have half a belly button and that's how I got the scar
Starting point is 00:06:13 lunchbox on my stomach on both sides of my belly button I was out with Josh Kamika and Jennifer we were doing some fake fighting in front of my house where we act like we're jumping somebody and we run off and leave them while the law enforcement showed up so we went sprinting and I couldn't open the gate
Starting point is 00:06:30 so I dove head first over the fence and scraped my whole stuff I'm going to make on the top of the fence, and that's how I got my scar. This could be a TV show, where you show your scar. It's a Bobby Bone Show. I'm going to play you a song that was used in a famous movie. You just named the movie. Easy.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Amy, you're first. Okay. What movie is this known for, song number one? Maybe slapped her head. Because, I mean, I know it. And I feel like it's a cartoon or something. No. No. No. Yeah. No. Oh. Um, no.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Time. Incorrect. I'm sorry. You just can't bounce around. Because in my head, I went from like Zoolander, but that's a totally different song when they're pumping gas. And then I went to like a cartoon. Tell me what it is. 500 days of summer. Oh, or it's one of your favorite movies. And the little cartoon, the little cartoon is on the shoulder. That's why. Okay. Yeah. All right. Number two. I had human in my head and cartoon. Human in my head and that's why.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Lunchbox, buy the song. Name the movie. Go ahead. Yeah. Go ahead. That's the trolls. No, it's actually despicable me. The minions.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Yeah. Did you know that one, Amy? I did. They look alike. Amy, ready? Number three, name it. Go ahead. Name the movie this is known for.
Starting point is 00:08:25 It's a famous song by itself, but what movie? Old? It's an old movie. She won't get it. I don't, I have no yet. Incorrect, I'm sorry. It's a good one. Do you know what, Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:08:41 The graduate. That's right. He would have got that right. Wow. That's Dustin Hoffman. It is a really good movie. Wow. Okay, Lunchbox. Here's yours.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Name the movie by the song. Here's the song. You ready? You know what movie that is? Yeah. Go ahead. The Lego movie. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah. Wow. This guy's killing it right now. How many does he have? Yeah, okay. You're killing it. rushing it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Amy, you need this one to stay in the game. I know. I know. Okay. Here we go. And action. Come on. I feel like this could be a couple of movies.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Studio 54. Not a movie. It's not. Are you sure? I mean, not a big one. I'm sure there's been a movie made about that. It's a cartoon. Saturday Night Fever with John Chavolta.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Oh, that's what I was picturing with Studio 54. Is that not the same thing? Mm-mm. The movie is called Saturday Night Fever. Okay. Lunchbox here just for... Oh, just for fun. Just for giggles.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Yeah. Here you go. Vendicated. Yeah. This is 10 things I hate about you. No, it's Spider-Man. It's from the soundtrack. No.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Oh. Who cares? Hit the song, right? Hold on. Don't hit the song yet. Here's one more. Okay. I just play this one.
Starting point is 00:10:18 See if you guys want to know this one. Go ahead. Top gun. Yeah. Lunchbox, you win. Now your song, my friend. Hit that song. And they stay.
Starting point is 00:10:40 He delayed. that second one. Wow, come on. H-E-L-P.com slash Bobby. Betterhelp.com slash Bobby. Ramundo, who sits in the glass room and what he does is he edits audio all day. I cut commercials, all the things that you hear on the show,
Starting point is 00:15:08 all the clips of songs. He's like, that's what he does. He's cutting, cutting, cutting. And so he comes to me and he says, hey, you know what the listeners want. I said, no, what do the listeners want? Usually what they call for and what they're asking, they say, more talk, less music. Okay. And so what do you then propose?
Starting point is 00:15:24 The thing that came to me was, why don't we speed up the songs? Logical. So, have you sped up some songs to hear? Yeah, I have some examples how it would sound in the morning when you're listening to these songs sped up. So that means if the song was sped up there's more time for us to be able to talk. Yeah, you're going to have 30 seconds to a minute more
Starting point is 00:15:44 every segment to talk, explain about your life, and have fun on the air. Okay, so what is the first song I have up here is, I was Jack, you were Diane. Okay, so this is the song if you're not familiar with it. Now, if we're doing the show, you'd rather it sound like Yeah. Drive a dead man.
Starting point is 00:16:09 It makes me want to talk faster. How much time does that shave off? Well, that one right there in particular is going to shave off 20 seconds for the whole song. Then I've sped up others even faster, so it's going to give you probably two minutes more a segment. Wow. Okay, you know this song from Keith Durbin? Yes. Okay, Reyes sped this one up here.
Starting point is 00:16:29 How much time does this show off? People are going to be driving your work in such a hurry. The speeding tickets are just flying up. Not to mention Key Durbin may not like that. But even like, yeah, I mean, think of how much more content we could cover if we all just bit up our talking. That's true, too. No, she's doing that. We can't do that.
Starting point is 00:16:47 We can talk about more. Can you guys? Can it Chesney get along? Speed this one up? Yeah, it's got to be trimmed up. Speed it up. That way we can talk more. Get along.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Down the road. You got it along. Goat. Get along. We get along the upper hand. Take along. Let's go on the upper hand. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Get along. Get along. Yeah, go, yeah, go. That's funny What about the slow songs Are like Mercy? Like this may be tough It can still be done
Starting point is 00:17:14 So a slow song like Brett Young Mercy We can speed it up It's gonna sound a little different It's gonna bring my heart to break It's like tech now You may have the map To make
Starting point is 00:17:26 Make this If you ever love Have mercy And then we get back to the show It's like number two this week Mercy All right we're back What a jam
Starting point is 00:17:37 I love that song. Well, thank you, Ray Moon. Yeah. Big hit right now. I'd be interested to hear. Morgan Evans kiss somebody sped up, huh? Mm-hmm. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:17:46 Mm-hmm. All right. Bones, it's weird at first. It really is weird at first, but people might get used to this. I feel like everybody would just get where they needed to go, like, way early. Are most things uncomfortable, too, before they're awesome? Yes. It might sound weird, but it's not wrong.
Starting point is 00:18:03 All right. That's right. The Bobby Bones show. Amy's son wants to do ballet. And I have no problem with that. I think it's fantastic. Let them do ballet, is what I say. But your daughter's doing ballet.
Starting point is 00:18:17 So she wants to. So they're doing like extracurricular activities are up to us because they don't have anything at school. So we're really trying to, we want them to try it all. Like all those activities at the Y and sports, volleyball, basketball, dance, anything. And she's like, okay, I want to do ballet. But Stevenson at home, all he ever does is try to like booty dance, like hip hop, and he tries to break dance. Well, the same studio that offers ballet has a hip hop break dance class. Perfect for him right up his alley.
Starting point is 00:18:49 But because Stasheera wants to do ballet, he now wants to do ballet. And my husband was like, uh-uh. No, you're not doing ballet. Our phone numbers 877-77 Bobby. Amy's daughter is to Shira She is going to do ballet Amy's son is Stevenson He's eight
Starting point is 00:19:08 He also wants to do ballet Amy wants him to do hip-hop I'll say I'm more I'm not My husband is like No he does not need to do ballet Because he's just
Starting point is 00:19:21 You know being a guy I try to tell him You know there's pro athletes that do ballet I'm more on the side Like Stevenson needs to not do ballet Because he needs to stop copying what his sister does. He needs to go do something that I know he enjoys, which is
Starting point is 00:19:35 he gets down to Drake. Well, as a champion dancer. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, you've seen guys in this element. Yes, we, I do, and I might need you to just talk to my husband because I just feel like it's a little ridiculous that he's nixing the ballet because it's like not a guy thing to do. Well, listen, more so than it being a guy or girl thing,
Starting point is 00:19:59 if he wants to do ballet let him do ballet for a little bit can you put him in both just for a little bit and let him see what he likes I think that would be the easy solution is to let him do some ballet let him do some hip-hop and see which one he gravitates to himself
Starting point is 00:20:14 because he will only do the sister thing for so long then great okay okay okay I love Amy if he loves anything that's a good no you're not either I can tell by your face listen I really think I will be fine with it
Starting point is 00:20:27 but I just can imagine on a Saturday me being like, hey, come on, honey, everybody. We got to go to Stevenson's ballet recital. Get your tooth see. Amy's a hater, too. She's acting like she's not. No. Wouldn't it be awesome if he just fell in love with an art, period?
Starting point is 00:20:41 Yes. Who cares if it's ballet, a painting? Yes. That would just be amazing. Let them do both if you can, if you can afford it, if you can, like, split it, and see which one he's drawn to, because that's what he's going to stick with. So maybe I should do the ballet.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Oh, boy. Did you dabble in any ballet with dancing with the stars? No, none. though. Yeah. But I'd also like the hip hop. I'd be like Stevenson. Anyway, call us 877-77 Bobby.
Starting point is 00:21:10 To me, it's not about an individuality thing because, you know, young kids always want to do what their older brother-sisters do. Always. My little sister wanted to do what I did all the time. You probably want to do what your sister did. Totally. That's natural.
Starting point is 00:21:23 But you grow out of that if it's not fun. Like, you want to do it at first, but you're like, oh, it's not fun. Let them do ballet. doesn't like it, which he'll probably like hip hop better. That's why I say. Hello, Joshua, North Carolina. What's up, boy? Hey, not much.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I've just dropped my wife at work, driving home. I heard the show. I think that instead of doing something my sister's doing, he should do something more individuality. No, I mean, and I agree with that, but you can't just say to an eight-year-old, hey, be an individual, do something different. Right. You also have to let him run through the maze and kind of mind it to figure it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:58 And maybe he will love balance. That's what I hope. Like my heart hope he loves ballet. I will go to Stevenson. I'll be holding a sign up. Yeah. I'll have slippers on my head. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:22:09 I'll be like, woo. All right, call us. We're going to hop. We're going to do some, tell me something to go in a second and grab some calls. 877-Bobby. Joshua, if you had a son, would you let him do ballet, though? No, I would not. Oh, thanks.

Starting point is 00:26:15 Guy gets online, he buys a cabinet for his kitchen. second-hand cabinet, he gets he's super pumped about it because it matches what he was looking for. And he opens it up and he finds $100,000 in cash inside of it. Oh, yes. His name's Samuel, and they discovered in this new cupboard-type cabinet, $107,000. And so it was there.
Starting point is 00:26:37 They pulled it out. They're like, well, I'm probably going to keep this now. And they went to sleep. And they couldn't sleep all night because that wasn't their money. So they returned the money. He drove from where they lived. to where the owner of the furniture store that they ordered it from lived, and the owner said the cabinet had belonged to his recently deceased father,
Starting point is 00:26:58 had no idea about the money. The thankful man rewarded them for their honesty. I don't know how much he gave them. Oh, I was about saying, $10,000? You know what? That's a lot. I don't know if that's the case. I mean, or $20,000, you got a tip 20%.
Starting point is 00:27:12 He's not a waiter, but what would you do lunchbox in the situation? Oh, I would have kept that money and put it in my bank account, or hit it under the mattress, one of the two. I'm always afraid that's drug money. So integrity aside, because I would have returned it anyway, because my heart would have thought something's up. That's somebody's house payment or somebody's house. I'd have been like, what if I'll chopper statutes before his trial?
Starting point is 00:27:33 You what I mean? Yeah, so good for him. That's what it's all about. That's good. Yeah, so it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobid Bones Show. Story of the day.
Starting point is 00:27:44 This story comes us from Louisiana. And two people walked into a pawn shop, stole a TV from the top shelf. Next day, they came back and tried to pawn it. Wow. I wonder if they were so messed up they didn't know where they got the TV. Maybe. Because that's not something you do if you're normal. Like, you may sell TV.
Starting point is 00:28:03 You shouldn't, but you may. But you probably don't take it back to the place. And then a day later. Right. Why not go to another pawn shop? Wow. So they called police and they were arrested. I'm Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:28:14 That's your bonehead story of the day. they stole the day before that took it back to the same place yep that's a good one folks it's your buddy and my Mr. Bobby bones we're gonna go over to the lunchbox who is standing by
Starting point is 00:28:36 let's see how many grunts he gets in Baby box update that's the wrong that's not the right button of all the lunchbox buttons that's not the right button there he is
Starting point is 00:28:47 hey lunchbox yo yo all right he's talking quiet he's at the gym all right what kind of gym are you in don't say the exact name
Starting point is 00:28:54 but like describe it to it It's a smaller gym. It's got weight. It's got people in there working out. It's not one of your main chain gyms, you know what I'm saying? But it's definitely a gym where the public can come and work out. Is there someone there that's kind of policing it? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:15 There's someone sitting at the front desk. And they have people that you've got to check in. You've got to pay a $3 fee to get a guest membership for one day. That's what you did, $3? Yeah, I pay three bucks. I'm sure you'll be trying to get reimbursed for that. Yeah, I'm going to be asking for that. I already said, I was like, man, I'm not doing these bits if I've got to pay for them all.
Starting point is 00:29:34 That's amen. So what he's going to do is, because there was a whole new story about grunting and that if you grunt, you get 15% stronger, like when you work out, that grunting is actually a good thing, right? Yeah. So don't be embarrassed of it. But researchers found that grunting during workouts boost your performance. So it gave us the idea to put lunchbox in a gym.
Starting point is 00:29:53 And how many grunts until they ask him to stop, okay? that's what we're going to be at. The over-under is six. Amy, what do you think? Oh, six? Are you kidding me? What's up? Six, because I'm going to be going hard.
Starting point is 00:30:07 I mean, I'm going hard in the gym. Yeah. But do you think... I think he goes over. So you think... Ooh, I think they asked him to stop before. Before six? I say right at six.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I'll put it at six. If it goes over six, you win. Okay. So if he gets to seven, you win. Got it. Okay. Lunchbox eight. Now, I need some strong grunts, though, okay?
Starting point is 00:30:25 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, like, are we talking like, or, or, you know what? You can start medium. But, but yeah, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, that's, what kind of weight do you have? What are you doing? Well, I mean, I, I, I, there's, the closest machine to people is a leg machine. It's a leg press, so I'm going to sit down on it. And right now, I got 20 pounds on it.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Okay. So lay down on the leg press. You want me to go in there? All right, here we go. I'll go back in. Let's send no cell phone use. Walking in. I had to come out here so they didn't get in on me.
Starting point is 00:30:53 All right. All right. I'm walking in. Now, if they come up to him and say, sir, please stop, it's over. That's it. I'm going six or below. Oh, do I keep grunting? Or do I just say, I'm just getting my work on?
Starting point is 00:31:02 Well, kicking you out is a whole different game. Okay. Are you laying down? Yeah, I'm getting on the machine right now. Okay, don't start yet. Let me go. I don't want to hurry out. All right, this is grunt number one.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Now give us a good hard grunt. You ready to lunch box. Yeah. And go. I mean, you can do better than that. Come on, come on. You can do better than that. Then, oh, that's right, too.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Hold on, we got to do this together. We got to do this together. There's no way you can even be lifting anything really heavy. He's got 20 pounds on it. Hold on, lunchbox, stop running away with the grinds. Hold on. We have the grunt count up here in the room. Three grunts are in.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Lunchbox, anyone looking at you? I don't know. I got my back to him. I'm trying to work out, man. All right. On grunt four, really give it all you got, okay? Here we go. Okay, you ready?
Starting point is 00:31:57 Yeah. All right. Look around. Just lift up and look around. Oh, yeah, I got a couple of heads, Tony. Okay. A couple, are you ready?
Starting point is 00:32:11 Yeah, and hold on. And now for grunt number five. We're five grunts in. This next grunt's got to be the one where someone comes up to him, or I'll lose the game. All right? Make it last lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:32:27 You really got to kill this one, right? I mean, go for... Well, no, you can't make this in your favor. You just got a grunt. But I'm talking about for the bit. Okay. Grun it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Grunt it. out. Are you ready, lunchbox? Give us a hundred percent grant here. And you guys ready? Yeah, go. You and Mr. Miyagi on that one. All right, look around. Look around. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, there's a couple of people talking to each other. Okay. They're pointing at me.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Is anyone coming over to you? No, not that I can see, but they are pointing at me. All right. Are you ready? Okay. Amy, you've won, but let's continue the game. Does it get a 10? Yes or no? 10? No, no, it didn't get to 10. Amy? 11.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Okay. Ready lunchbox. And go for grunt number seven. Sounds like it's having a baby. Lyle box is on the leg machine. You've got seven grotes it. And grunt number eight. You ready? Yeah. Okay, and this one end it with like a high squeal at the end of it. Okay. All right, grunt number nine.
Starting point is 00:33:45 They're going to Hold on, let's watch my Are they coming? What's that? Oh I'm just working out, man, grunting, you know, I gotta get that swall on.
Starting point is 00:34:06 No, dude, being to know to speak you came back. Offending, I'm not saying anything bad. I'm not, but green and there. Oh, I mean, I'm not, I'm just doing,
Starting point is 00:34:15 I'm in my zone. I'm in my zone. Like, you know. Ask him to get one more rep in. It's going to get beat up. 11. Lunchbox. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Say, can I, can I, can I get one last set of six? Say, say, can I get one last set of six? One last set of six.
Starting point is 00:34:37 One last set of six there, guys. One last set of six here, guys. Guy. What do you say? One. Two. Four.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Long one. Long six. Take it home, lunchbox. All right, say thanks guys and walk out. He's done. Say her.
Starting point is 00:35:04 All right. That was a good workout. Thank you, guys. Thanks, guys. Thanks, guys. Thank you, like. What do you say to you? What do you say to you?
Starting point is 00:35:12 Man, thank you guys. That was good. Would you say, same time tomorrow, guys? See you guys tomorrow. Oh my gosh, guys. That guy was a big dude. Yeah? He was not happy.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Who you talking about? Guy? You know about guy? What did you say, lunchbox? No, he came and stood in front of the. machine and tried to block me from doing any more work. And what'd you do? But I just kept going.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Yeah. You're such a rebel. Bad boy. You're so bad. Wait, hold on. What were people saying to the guy? I couldn't, can you clarify that? I don't know what they were saying to him.
Starting point is 00:35:54 He said they were, I was startling people as I was working out. You're startling us. We're not even there with here. Yeah, yeah. Come on back, lunchbox. That's a good bit. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:36:04 All right. There is. Leg's probably tired. Okay. Okay. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private, nonprofit Christian university based in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. They say higher education is outdated, irrelevant.

That's where this segment came from. Brides are replacing their wedding bouquets.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Close that door over there. What? Close that door over there. Go. There you go. There? Good? All right. There we go. Brides are replacing their wedding bouquets with cotton candy. It's the latest wedding trend, and I love that idea.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Does it look cool? Yeah, the pictures look awesome. Think of a giant pink cotton candy thing in a bride walking down the aisle with that instead of flowers. You know, we only associate flowers with it because we've been told to associate flowers with it. Yeah. I'm okay with cotton. candy. I haven't seen a picture of it. Do you have one up? Yeah, I do. There you go. Can I see it?
Starting point is 00:40:41 Oh, that looks so cute. That does look cool. And it can match the dress. Yes. Now... And you can eat it. Yeah. I'm a fan of it until it sort of gets wet or something gets... And then it gets all over my dress and it's sticky and you can't do anything about it. But it's really pretty.
Starting point is 00:40:57 And maybe you just use it for the picture. Yeah, maybe. Eddie laughed because Morgan number two with her weird pronunciations. What did you say? She just called it a bouquet. Boquet. Say it again? Very interesting. Boquet.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Well, potato, potato, potato. Boquet. Boquet. I would also say bouquet. But again, we're not right. It's bouquet. Or BOU could also be said bo. I'm just sticking up for you right now, Morgan, number two.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I appreciate it. This happens to me all the time. Yeah, she does say it. What's the kind of food you eat at Olive Garden? Italian. Italian, yeah. It's so old school. I love it.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Lunchbox, what's the truck that picks people up when they're hurt? Amblance. The ambulance. Oh, boy. And whenever I'm going to wash my clothes, you know, that's washing powder. Watching powders. We all say things based on how we grew up. Morgan number two, what's up with your throat, though, huh?
Starting point is 00:41:54 I don't know. I think my allergies have started because I've been doing really well. Yeah. My thyroid's been great. Is that what's always like in your throat when you talk, your thyroid? Yes. Really, your thyroid gets in your throat? I don't know where your thyroid is
Starting point is 00:42:08 In your throat area, right? But what causes it to cause the... It's just if you have like a bad thyroid, it could... I call it a throid. Flemm? Yes. When my throids act in up? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Your thyroid is in your throat. It is. I didn't know that. Learn something new. Morgan number two. Where did you think it was? Just... In your stomach?
Starting point is 00:42:29 In your thigh? In your thigh? Not a bad guess. I did. Morgan number two. Thank you very much. We post a picture. We shall, huh?
Starting point is 00:42:38 Yep, it's up on Twitter. All right, Bobby Bone's show. You can check out the bride with the cotton candy bouquet. All right, worst advice you ever got. Let's go to Nikki in Massachusetts. Hey, Nikki. Hello. Hey, share with me the advice you got and you look at it now and go, that was wrong.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Expect the worst and you'll never be disappointed. It's such a pessimistic way of thinking. It is very pessimistic, yes. and I don't expect the worst but I also don't expect the best I just put my best effort out and then I just see where the chips fall but you expect the worst
Starting point is 00:43:15 you're going to get the worst really because we're very much built on our expectations if you don't think you're going to if you don't believe in you nobody else will you know what I mean yeah Nikki who told you that I'm going to see they get fired today
Starting point is 00:43:26 give me their number It was my uncle all right let me talk let me get that uncle well you don't live by that right no all right that's good yeah I don't like that one very much That's so pessimistic.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Amy, what's yours? Mine was, don't have a big airport welcome party when you bring your adopted kids home from another country. Like, because it could be overwhelming. And while it was like good advice probably for them, but I heard it from multiple people, they adamantly thought you should not do it. I read it in books. I saw it online. I heard it in podcasts.
Starting point is 00:43:56 And we had it anyway. And it was the most amazing day ever. And my kids loved it. So Amy's adopted two children. And I mean, kind of you have to set this up a little bit for, people have no idea what you're talking about. Okay, well, yes, we adopted two kids from Haiti and they're older and so they, yeah, they have a lot going on and it can be, you know, over-stimulating a lot, you know, happening if you have this huge airport greeting. And I think you just have to
Starting point is 00:44:19 take it, know your kids, especially if they're a little bit older and you've gotten to know them and know your circumstances and then make the best decision for your family instead of just like taking the advice of people that were pretty adamant about it. I had heard both things, but I think I heard more so not to have the party. and the big airport welcome. And we did, and y'all were all there, and it was amazing and awesome, and I do not regret it. Worst advice you've ever received, Lunchbox. Oh, my dad in my 20s, don't worry about saving money now.
Starting point is 00:44:47 You're young. You got plenty of time to start saving. Well, should have started saving. Your dad told you to not worry about saving money at all. He said, you're young. Right now, you don't need to worry about savings. You don't need to have a fallback because you're so young. You have time to build that later.
Starting point is 00:45:04 And so you just spent like crazy. So I just spent like crazy. Do you blame him now for being broke? Yeah, because he set me up for failure way back when because I was just out having fun and not thinking about, oh, in 10 years, if I have a kid or something, I should have fallback money. No, Dad, I'm not young anymore. And so when do I start? Have you started? Trying.
Starting point is 00:45:24 But no? I mean, it's hard. It is hard. And if it was easy, everybody would be doing it, and everybody would have huge accounts. And once you get in the habit, it's hard to go the. Reverse way. You mean once you're in the habit of spending, spending, spending. Spending, spending, it's hard to be like, ooh, I'm not going to spin, I'm not going to spend, I'm not going to spend.
Starting point is 00:45:44 So, shout out pops. The worst advice ever received when I was first doing morning radio. Uh-oh. I was probably like 22 or 23. And I think this goes for just about any sort of job or profession. I had another morning guest sent me down and say, I want to give you some advice. I said, what's that? I said you should really just try to lay low all the time.
Starting point is 00:46:02 Just try to keep your job and lay low. Don't ruffle any feathers. And I was like, okay, I'm just going to lay low. How long do you listen to that? About four days, yeah. But I look back and I go, that was the worst advice I could have got. Because you're never going to be, you're never going to be great or fantastic at something if you're just doing the status quo. You're never going to be dynamic if you're just doing what everybody else does.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Now, there's risk involved, and you could actually also kind of peter out. But had I listened to him, there's no way I would be here. I'd still be chilling. Probably nothing. I'd probably be cut by now. But my advice to everybody else is if you want to be different and you want to be dynamic, you have to actually ruffle some feathers at times. You've got to pick your crazies.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Pick your crazies. So that's my advice. Eddie? Mine's kind of like lunchboxes. My dad once told me, if you ain't got debt, you ain't living. And wow. Like now, like my goal of 2019 is to get rid of all my debt I've had my entire life because of that advice. It's like, Dad, come on.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Yeah, it's crazy they would tell you that. But is he was he serious? Yeah, he just meant like, don't... Did he mean like mortgage? No, he meant like, don't, you know, stress yourself out over debt. Like, if you ain't got debt, you ain't living. Like, live your life and then you take care of your debt later. Woo!
Starting point is 00:47:21 Here I am. Take care of my debt later and it's rough. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was never that way. No one ever gave me money advice. I have no idea, right, what to do with money. Grow up super poor. So I never had that talk with anyone.
Starting point is 00:47:32 So no one said, hey, this is what you should do if you ever make money. So I've always been scared to go into debt. So I don't have any debt. So smart. So it's been like, I don't buy it unless I can pay for it. God, that sounds like such a good life. But I never had anything for a long time. Like there was, I never had a credit card to buy cool stuff.
Starting point is 00:47:51 I took out one loan, one time of college for $1,000. And I bought clothes and a PlayStation. And then I paid it back like three weeks later. And wasn't it supposed to be a student loan? Yeah. Well, I didn't need it for a student loan. I need a clothes for work. Oh, I guess you could use it forever, whatever you wanted.
Starting point is 00:48:04 I didn't know how. worked. I need to close for work events, I went and bought clothes with it. It's kind of an investment even. Sure. And then a little PlayStation for you. A little bit more me. This is a little something. Jamie and Virginia, where's advice you ever got? Oh, they tell me at work all the time to under promise and overperform. And I just think that that sets your bar so low right off the bat. My advice would be to normal promise and then overperform. Right. I mean, I'm going to tell you what I can do for you. And I want to perform, you know, I want you to be proud of me. So why would I, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:42 I think kind of the basis of that is always surprise people with the extra that you're doing. You know, I think the under promise is a little misleading, but it's really like, say what you're going to do and then always do more than that. You know what I mean? Right. Yeah, what do you do for a living? I'm a banker. Interesting. Do you ever get to go in the vault?
Starting point is 00:49:02 I get to go in the vault all the time, yeah, and I have a secret code that only I know, and it's full of money, you know, all those things you see on TV. So the vault is full of money? Yes. And do they, is it like a pharmacy where they have every dollar accounting for, where they have every pill accounted for? I mean, not in terms of like serial numbers or anything, but, you know, we, yes, we count every dollar every day to make per it's all there. How much is in your vault? You know, it can, it varies. It depends on how busy you are.
Starting point is 00:49:33 So if you wanted $10, is there any way you could skim $10 without someone noticing? Just $10? No way. There's cameras everywhere, and that would be dishonest. That would be my job. You couldn't throw some of those poppers and fireworks over in the corner and the camera looks over there and then you grab $10.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Like a little handwritten I owe you for tomorrow when I get it back. Yeah, it doesn't work like that. Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate you sharing that with us. Hope you have a good morning. For everything you guys do. You too. All right.

Starting point is 00:55:03 It was amazing, an amazing story, like an amazing story of America. And there's a lot of singing and rapping and stuff. Because he was America's treasurer, right? Come on. Okay, right, all right. Come on. Wow, dude, that's crazy. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:55:14 I want to see it. And I never thought about it from that angle. Like, if you borrow money from someone. Like, Eddie, if you borrowed $100 for me. Correct. I'd watch your health. I'd be like, you need healthy, buddy. I didn't get that money back.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Yeah. But isn't that cool? That's cool. Really cool. And the story's good, and that's what's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. So Amy said yesterday she has a cousin who's a psychic, and I was interested. I can't say that I'm the biggest believer in mediums, but I can be convinced of anything at this point in my life.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Amanda, how are you? Hey, I'm great. How are y'all? Hey, I'm good. So what exactly are you? Well, it's a long story, but just the short of it is, is I've had these gifts since I was young, and I've just in the past handful of years learned to channel them. And I get these simultaneous downloads of information, like I'm a USB port, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:08 plugged into a computer, and I've learned how to translate them, essentially. So you're a USB port or a psychic or a media? I'm a USB port. Okay. Yeah, straight up. I'm just a technology geek. No, it's like a USB port, and I'm able to channel your higher self. And like every version of you that ever was or ever will be comes through as like a collective.
Starting point is 00:56:28 And it's inspirational and it aligns people and validates kind of who they are, what they are, and where they're going. Okay, listen, I'm into it. I'm open right now. Like I said, just being totally honest, I was like, I don't know if I believe this. Actually, I'll say this. I've never had an experience would make me believe it. Being fully, just full disclosure. So that being said, Amy loves you.
Starting point is 00:56:49 And Amy's like, hey. Yeah, you guys are first cousins, second cousins? Yeah, well, so we're long, that's a little longer story. You're just cousins. But yes, we're just cousins. We're cousins. And her mom, my Aunt Lisa, like, we have been close for a really long time. And after my mom passed away was when right around the same time that Amanda started, you know, channeling her gifts.
Starting point is 00:57:11 But I am also more reserved about it and kind of like, what, Amanda, are y'all for real? But I love them and respect them. So I kind of hear what they say. And then we go from there. How much do you charge, though, usually? So my readings are 225 and they're remote and I have clients all over the world. I read for somebody in Rome last week. You know, I had somebody in Slovakia next week.
Starting point is 00:57:34 $2.25? $225. Holy. And it comes with a recording, but listen, it's like a recording and it's the gift that keeps on giving because you listen and relisten and I channel very fast. Okay, well, let's get rocking here. We have a little time limit here to do. this, but Amy's cousin is on...
Starting point is 00:57:54 Amanda, Amanda... Tell me your birthday. Well, her, she's, Amanda, can I say your full name? Like, what's your psychic name? Oh, Amanda Rieger Green. Okay. So, my full birthday is 040,
Starting point is 00:58:07 0-0-0-2, 1980. That would be April 2nd, 1980. April 2nd, 1980. Okay, hold on. Numbers just help me get into it, bad. Good. We have a psychic on right now.
Starting point is 00:58:18 Like, they're showing me that, like, that a huge part of your life has been about responses. And like you are in a phase where you are starting to redefine what you are responsible for, who you are responsible for. And you're primarily responsible for yourself. And they're saying you're starting to recognize that because you've put other people first, even though you're a go getter and a fire starter. And you, you know, you create whatever it is that you are empowered by in your heart. But they're saying still in your internal life, there's been this struggle with responsibility. And that started at a young age in your.
Starting point is 00:58:52 environment and they're saying you're at this phase where you're redefining that and this year is going to challenge you in so many ways if it's already not you're at a bunch of crossroads you have opportunities coming your way where it's going to be either the path of integrity or the path of ego and you will know but you are making you will be making a lot of decisions over the next year that are going to be challenging and they're going to be painful and they're going to have to do with relationships and connections that you have made long term and what makes sense to you now But if you ask yourself, what is my responsibility? And if you did self-care, honoring yourself, honoring your purpose, honoring your mission,
Starting point is 00:59:32 then you will not waver. And you will do things and choose the way of integrity. And you have a tremendous. Okay, hold on minute. We're just going to go on here. Let me ask another question. This is a lot. We've got to keep this thing right to the point here.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Am I ever going to get a girlfriend? How about this year? Am I going to get a girlfriend this year? No. What? Wow. Okay. Fair enough?
Starting point is 00:59:52 No, no, you're not because this year is more about you. And it's about you and it's very holistic, like, this greater you. And so you're recalibrating some things. So it's like a girlfriend kind of comes into next year and closer to maybe 20, 21. What is happening right now? Maybe next year, more so next year, though. All right. Will I ever have a drink of alcohol?
Starting point is 01:00:14 Probably not. You're too much of a control freak. Interesting. Amy, what would you like to ask her about me? Oh, man. This is so much. Yeah, yeah, we have a psyche on the phone right now. Your mom is with you, by the way.
Starting point is 01:00:26 You have, like, all these women around you, and your mom is with you. And just so you know that she, the way that she presents herself to me is that she's working on herself tremendously. And she is able to be empowered and clean her soul and preserve her soul through the goodness that you spread and what you do for other people. Have you read my book? Because all this stuff is in my book. No, I haven't read your book. I don't even listen to you guys that much. I mean, I promise she doesn't.
Starting point is 01:00:52 Okay. If I don't. I know. I know that they don't really listen. Well, oh, I would like to know because I think this will be good for Bobby. Will he get a dog? You should get a dog. Like, dogs are good for you.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Dogs are healing for you. And, like, yes, you need to get a dog. And even though there's a sense of, that's back to the sense of responsibility. But that is an unconditional responsibility that teaches you how to be unconditional with yourself. And you know this because that's your most intimate relationship is that unconditionally with pets. So, yeah, you need to get a dog. Yeah, because Bobby has never... And what...
Starting point is 01:01:32 Wait, do you have a dog? I thought you had a dog. I do remember that. I did have a dog, but my dog died. Oh, okay. So know this, and this is just me telling you this. Dogs come back. So you will know when the right dog shows up.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Like, you're going to know that, oh, my gosh, there's something about this dog that is familiar. Trust that. And you will know. And that will happen this year. Am I going to be super rich? You already are super rich. I'm talking about like super rich.
Starting point is 01:01:59 I'm not going to be super rich. Well, I mean, I don't know if you're going to be like Bezos or anything. Oh. You know, I think you're going to continue your path of success, but you're also a humanitarian. So you give back. And when you give back, that feels good. So keeping that flow of money, that money flows to and through me sense about you, that's going to kind of preserve who you are.
Starting point is 01:02:19 So it's more about you being abundant rather than rich. Okay. So Bobby has said he'll run as the governor of our. Like within the next four, eight to 12 years. Oh, sorry, eight to 12 years. I can see you doing politics. Absolutely, because that's where you can make a difference and be able to use your voice in ways that you feel really do impact the community, which is what I was just talking about,
Starting point is 01:02:42 about you being a humanitarian. But I don't think that, I would say eight to ten years, that's not on your immediate track. You have other things that are coming up on your immediate track that are, again, you're going to be at these crossroads this year where you have to choose and it's time to make some pretty big business decision. But he could win as governor of Arkansas? Will I be the governor of Arkansas, Amanda?
Starting point is 01:03:04 Will I be the president of the United States, Amanda? Well, Trump is. So I don't know. Anything goes, guys. Okay, she's not giving me an answer on that one. We're getting pretty close to the end of the session here. Anything else you guys would like to know? Well, am I going to have kids?
Starting point is 01:03:21 Yes, you will. Well, I have a kid before I get a girlfriend, and how will that work scientifically? Now, that, I can't tell you. but, I mean, you do know how that works physiologically. I don't because it's been a long time. I'll be honest with you, Amanda. If you know what's been happening in my life, I haven't had that in a long time. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:36 Well, I don't mean, I can't tap into that. I mean, I'm not going to get too much. I'd like to tap. Excuse me? What other, Amanda, you mentioned that he had a lot of women around him. I do. What other women besides his mom are you? Is there any other women?
Starting point is 01:03:49 There's two or three women around you. And like one of them feels a little older, like more grandmother. And then the other is definitely your mother. What was your mother's first name, Bobby? P.A.M. Pam. Yeah. What she is showing me is like almost like she's learning clarity and she's learning how to use her voice in a clear and consistent way. And she is learning that through you. And she says, you know, you can talk to her if you don't already.
Starting point is 01:04:14 Like you can talk to her and communicate with her because that bond is still there and it's stronger than you know. All right. One final question. Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead, Eddie. You don't want to ask her how you're going to. Yeah. I'm going to die. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:27 She doesn't. Yeah. No, I don't know. Do you know how I'm going to die? You don't know? No. I don't know. Amanda.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Hold on, let me go out. Let me end on this one. Will I ever dance again on television? Well, I heard you one dancing with the stars. I did hear about that. Sure you will. I'll go back. There we go.
Starting point is 01:04:46 Yeah, you'll go back. Yeah, you'll be like an all-stars round, maybe. There you go. Okay. Anything else, guys. Because we've got to go. I guess if we're done, we're done, but. Amanda, would you like us to put your psychic hotline on our website?
Starting point is 01:04:58 so people can call? Sure. My website is Soul Pathology, and I also have another awesome business for people who are into astrology and numerology called Wise Skies, and it has a fun podcast and forecast. Hold on it, so it's called Soul Pathology?
Starting point is 01:05:14 Yep. Okay. Will people go to that website by your psychic? Will people go and hire you? We will see. We will see. Hey, I already have a great client base, and it's all built off referrals.
Starting point is 01:05:27 So shout out to all of my. clients who've supported me and believed in me because it's been pretty a remarkable ride. Okay. Well, I make another, well, I have a hit song. Will the Raging Idiots put out another hit song? Not this year. Oh, got it. Well, I write another book.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Yeah, for sure. Okay. Oh, see? There we are going to do it. All right. Amanda, thanks me if you're, if you talk to my mom. You want her to talk to your mom, really? She already talks to my mom.
Starting point is 01:05:55 She tells me a lot lately, and we can, we can talk about that because she appeared last weekend like out of the blue and uh and she is around and she's like really active and present lately and i miss her so much that's really cool me too well who should i try to hook up with to get on the right path you just want hey i heard oh hello what wait hold on that one no he ran out of time no we need on that question Amanda Amanda come back what she's gonna say wait what we lost her We lost her. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Hey, get her back on Ask her the answer to that question. I have to hit the button here. Okay, there's our psychic reading. How do we feel? Come on, guys. Okay, we'll come back. We'll talk about it a second. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 01:10:30 What was the question I asked her? We cut out for? Who should you try to hook up with it? Oh, yeah, who should? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the plan here? What's my plan of action? Wait, so are you still back on a girlfriend?
Starting point is 01:10:39 Like, you're stuck on this when I told you. I didn't say girlfriend, but like a guy just can't be lonely forever, you know? That's true. Okay, so here's the deal. Like, this year is a year where it's really like it's going to feel kind of self-centered. I mean, I think, you know, you're going to feel more like you have other bigger fish to fry, But it's a year where when you clear all that out and level the playing field, you will be ready to enter into a new relationship. And there is somebody coming in and she's not famous.
Starting point is 01:11:06 Okay. Well, that's good. Wow. What? No, I'm in. Like, it's really closer to the end of the year or next year. And I don't know that you know this person either. Okay.
Starting point is 01:11:16 I just asked him. I don't think you know this person. I'm not going to make out with anybody. Like, even. Well, that might happen. I mean, I can't dictate your dating life. What I'm going to have for lunch? Like, there are all these people.
Starting point is 01:11:26 That's not it. Okay. Okay. Well, thank you. Again, we'll put her, what's your website again? We'll put it on the website too. It's soulpathology.com. Solpathology.
Starting point is 01:11:36 Yeah. What's up? Amy's cousin. Amanda, thank you very much. Have a wonderful day. Amy. Thanks, Amanda. Yeah, why don't you have that psychic gene?
Starting point is 01:11:46 It's your family. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know, but she said she's just now been able to tap into it. A gift she's had since we were kids. A lot of. listeners are texting me right now saying that she could have researched most of that stuff. Oh.
Starting point is 01:12:03 What do you think about that? I mean, she's also, I mean, she's honestly, whatever she's channeling into, she's giving you that. She has clients all over the world. She's not able to research and she has successful readings, I guess. She's known me my whole life and she still has things she wants to tell me. So, I mean. I don't know, truthfully speaking, that I'm any more of a believer than when I start. Right.
Starting point is 01:12:27 Right. But I'm going to take it into consideration. Now I'm just going to try to prove it wrong. Like, I have everybody else in my whole life. Yeah. I'm going to get a girlfriend today. Yeah. You're going to get married tomorrow. Just to prove a psychic from one segment wrong.
Starting point is 01:12:38 That's my M.O. in life. To prove people wrong. Like, she said that your dog could come back in another, like, you'll know it's in another dog. Can't prove it's not. I know. But I mean, even then, I'm like, Amanda, for real. In my head. But that's me being because I'm not, I'm not there.
Starting point is 01:12:54 But I also want to be supportive of. of Amanda. So I'm in a... I'm in a hard place. You know? One of my friends went to a psychic. It's how this all came up. And she was like, you have to go.
Starting point is 01:13:05 Because he's the best. He'll tell you all this stuff. He'll tell you people by name. And I was like... Yeah. Do we know? We mutual friend? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Okay, yes. Super close friend. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So this picture of this guy, his dip can, and he put his engagement ring to his girl in the dip can. And he was like, hey, open my dip can. And she does, and the rings in there.
Starting point is 01:13:26 Mm-hmm. And that's how he proposed. What are you thinking about that? I mean, at least it was fresh dip and not, like, used, but still, it's so stinky and gross. Like, I'm not into it. Emma and Kansas, give me your bad proposal story. He proposed to me while I was in the shower. What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:13:45 I was washing my hair. He walks into the bathroom, sticks the ring in the shower, like, through the shower curtain, and says, will you marry me? Oh. It's kind of cute. No, it's not. Why? Because you wait for that.
Starting point is 01:13:56 that moment to be proposed to, and then you're just taking a shower in everyday activity. Okay, you're right. And there's a curtain. He's not even looking at you. I said no. I thought he was joking. Yeah, I would have thought he was joking to because, again, that's like you're, you know, putting gas in the car. And everyday activity and he proposes.
Starting point is 01:14:14 Okay, you're right. Because it's supposed to be a special moment. That's all. You're not romantic at all. You're right. And I don't say that as a slap to Amy, but Amy's not romantic at all. I know. Case in point.
Starting point is 01:14:24 Yeah. She's like, oh, that's, I would cry. She's like, well, I get clean myself and also get reposed to. Wow, what it is it? It's beautiful. Emma, thank you. Wait, did you say yes ever? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:37 Emma. Shoot, I need to know. I know. Michelle in New York, you're on. Hi. My story is that my boyfriend and I went to purchase the new car. Well, I was purchasing the new car, and as we were driving at home, he turned to me and said
Starting point is 01:14:56 Do you know that your car insurance would be cheaper if we were married And it kind of went from there No ring or anything Wait so He was being totally practical and he said Do you know because you have this new car That insurance would be cheaper if we got married Let's get married
Starting point is 01:15:14 And he did that with no ring Yes And what did you say He said let's do it And then we've been married almost 12 years Do you hold that against him That he didn't put anything behind it
Starting point is 01:15:30 A little bit I kind of like playing around I'll joke with him and be like Well I didn't even get a good proposal He did kind of rob you of a moment Okay but hold on I have a question Was he just in the moment And he kind of thought of that and went with it
Starting point is 01:15:44 Or that was his plan That's a good question May have been planning to ask me And I think he just kind of got caught up in the moment and went with it. So no, he never, when did he finally present you with a ring ever? On my birthday. Well, I feel like he should have still come through with the proposal.
Starting point is 01:16:05 You should have said yes, but I want you to propose to me. Like, for real. Yeah, I'm holding out to be proposed to you, guys. Oh, yeah, whenever it happens, I'm going to say, no, I want the proposal to me to be awesome. Not in the shower. Yeah, to me. Not me and here. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:19 Chelsea and North Carolina. Hi, go ahead. Hi, so it wasn't me, but it was my cousin. She was at a country music festival with her boyfriend, and they were getting food, and he handed her a hot dog, and it had the ring on the hot dog. How big her fingers?
Starting point is 01:16:40 She was surprised. I don't think that was what she had in much. Was it a really skinny hot dog? That's really funny. Unless you take the ring and you, like, crush the hot dog inside of it? Wow. Thanks for that call. creative.
Starting point is 01:16:56 Is it so? It's like he's just like over something round. I've never seen that wedding ring on a hot top before. What about her wedding? At a skull can, though. Never seen that either? Or Copenhagen, you know? It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:17:11 With lunchbox. Stay home there's something good. Amy Lewis works at a rest stop in Texas and she's sitting there and she's looking out the window and there's a little dog running around. She's like, hmm, that's weird. She goes out there and there's a little miniature schnauzer and she takes it to the vet. doesn't have a chip. She's like, hmm, what am I going to do with this dog?
Starting point is 01:17:30 Had Michigan collar on it. So she puts a picture on the Michigan lost dog website on Facebook. Said, hey, I'm in Texas. I found this dog. Anybody know it? People scrolling through. This guy goes, that looks like my father-in-law's dog. It made its way from Michigan to Texas.
Starting point is 01:17:45 And this lady found it, put it on Facebook. Reunited with the family. Had to get inside someone's car, right? Right? I mean, does it have a thumb? Check the picture. No, no hitchhiking. No.
Starting point is 01:17:55 Then they had to get inside of something, a truck, a car. R-A-T, something. Not like, where are you going, dog? Remember? All right, hop-in. As far as you can take me. What's there you're trying to get to, puppy? Oh, Texas.
Starting point is 01:18:06 You're lucky. I'm headed that way. I'm heading right down there. What are we going to say, Amy? I just was thinking that reminds me I haven't chipped my dog and I need to. That reminds me, I haven't any chips in a while. I'm hungry. We'll get you.
Starting point is 01:18:19 We're all reminded of stupid things. Well, that's stupid if my dog got out. Like, she'd be just like, you know, anybody could take her. Nobody would know where. She doesn't have a name or caller or anything. What state would you go to, though? I don't know. Where are you heading there?
Starting point is 01:18:32 Oh, Maine. Wow. I'm not heading that direct. Yeah. All right, thank you. That's what's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's a Bobby Bones show.
Starting point is 01:18:41 I thought I'd bring in our girl group here. It's Amy, Morgan number two, and Hillary. And so you guys come in. It's kind of like a focus group. I like to know what you guys are thinking about certain situations, all right? Cool. Amy, tell everybody a little bit about yourself. I'm the oldest of the girl group.
Starting point is 01:19:00 I kind of like to think of myself as the big sister. There you go. I'm 37. I'm a mom of two kids and a wife of 12 years. So in a little bit of a different space than the other girls. Okay. Hillary, tell everybody a little something about you. I'm Hillary.
Starting point is 01:19:15 I just turned 26. That's when we decided I love Chick-fil-A. And I'm single. And she's single. Okay. And Morgan number two, tell everybody something about you? I'm 25. I really love my dog.
Starting point is 01:19:27 I eat Taco Bell five times a week. Wow. Your adventures, Harry ain't need Taco Bell that much, huh? Being burrito. It's so good. Wow. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:19:35 Okay, so that's what you have here. Yeah. What? Nothing. I just, should be 25 again. I can't even look at Taco Bell. I'll gain five pounds. Listen to this story.
Starting point is 01:19:47 The dude is 30 and the girl, 22 years old, they were mugged. Wait, hold on. He's 30. She's 22. A mugger goes up to them, right? And as the mugger goes up, he runs off and leaves her. alone. He claims he was running for help, but she says
Starting point is 01:20:04 she didn't hear from over an hour. Her question is, just wondering how bad I should blow his beep up. So imagine it, you're out walking with your boyfriend, and mugger comes and he takes off running. Oh, man, here's part of it. Tuesday night, the boyfriend and I were out. He parked in an alley because it's free. As we got
Starting point is 01:20:22 to the car, this homeless guy stepped out with a screwdriver and said something like, all I need is they hit. 20 bucks and no one gets hurt. My boyfriend ran away. He didn't even look behind him, so I was stuck with the mugger since I had my phone. He rubbed his hands all over me, and he was holding the screwdriver near my throat. Okay.
Starting point is 01:20:40 So, what do you think about this situation here? You're with your dude. Someone comes up that's threatening your life, and he runs away. What do you do? Amy. Holly, I don't know for sure that he is my boyfriend anymore because that is, like, for the rest of my life, if I'm in any situation, I know he's just going to run and think about himself. He didn't check on me for an hour and all he had to do was throw a 20 at the guy. I mean, I don't think I'm going to blow him up.
Starting point is 01:21:05 I'm not going to cause a scene. Let me tell you, if we do stay together, I will tell this story like every family of it. Okay. Let me throw a curveball here that I didn't say yet. Now, he says, and I'll go to Morgan number two, he says that he was running to get help. I think he should have stayed behind and she should have ran to get help. I mean, I guess I kind of expect a guy I'm with to take care of me. Protect me.
Starting point is 01:21:31 So if he doesn't, it would kind of hinder that relationship moving forward. Hillary? I agree. I feel like he should at least like grabbed me or grabbed my hand to make sure I ran with him. He shouldn't just leave me. He should protect me and make sure I'm okay. Yes. We as women, we look for security and protection.
Starting point is 01:21:50 I don't say this for all women, but I feel like we're kind of all the same. My husband, I think I married the kind of guy that I know would take care of things and say, go, go, go, save yourself. I've got this. And I'd be like, okay, thank you. Would you run? I've been running get help for real. Where did he go for an hour?
Starting point is 01:22:12 Lunchbox wants to hop in the girl group competition. Yeah, I want to jump in. All these girls talk about equality. Oh, the guy's got to pay for the first day. Like, we want equality. Why can't you defend yourself? Why is the guy got to sacrifice his? his body for you. Why can't you do it for him? I mean, what's wrong with him running away?
Starting point is 01:22:28 Hillary? I disagree. I think he should at least make sure I was okay. Yeah, he did. He checked on you an hour later, man. In most relationships, the man is going to be bigger, stronger, more powerful, and women are more vulnerable. I get the whole equality thing lunchbox. You're right. I as a woman, I want that and I should be able to take care of myself. But I'm going to be more attracted. I'm just telling you what I'm attracted to. And I'm attracted to a man that is not going to run and leave me. Yeah. But I can also pay for my own dinner.
Starting point is 01:23:01 So what, yeah, that's not true because many times you've been to go figure out my wallet and I paid for dinner. No wallet. We weren't dating. Yeah, but still, you were like, I forgot my wallet. I really did forget my wallet. Okay, so what happens, Amy, you're dating this dude. He does it.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Do you give him a shot to sit together or do you dump them outright? Okay. I'm going to give it a shot. Oh, wow. But we're. I'm going to give it a shot, but he better know that that was not cool. And, yeah, we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll have to set up another little incident.
Starting point is 01:23:35 Oh, now I'm going to be staging a robbery. Morgan number two? I think I'd end the relationship. That's a red flag to me. And at that point, you just got to cut your losses. Hillary? I'm ending the relationship. Wow.
Starting point is 01:23:46 Wow, wow, wow. There you go. What's that lunchbox? Hayter. There you go. There's our girl here. Thank you for your opinions. They brought in the girl group today.
Starting point is 01:23:56 Anything you want to say to guys out there, Amy, they're listening that may go through the same situation with their girl? Don't be a whim. Don't be a wham. Yeah. Like, lunchbox, you're telling me you would run from your wife right now. If a homeless man approached her and had a screwdriver, you'd be like, feet don't fail me, no.
Starting point is 01:24:15 Listen, dating and wife is different because if you're dating, I mean, you're going to go up your life or someone, you're just dating. It's a good point. Because she can break up with you next week. I know. To me, it's a human. thing more than it is a dating or a married thing. Yeah. Bobby, you
Starting point is 01:24:32 and I as friends and... I would tell you to go and I'd beat the crap out of them or get stabbed. For sure. For sure. I didn't... I'm just checking. Yeah, yeah. That's awesome. So many girls right now that are kind of into you right now are like more into you. Because you just said you'd do that.
Starting point is 01:24:47 For sure. Oh, then I'd go just beat up other people too randomly. I'd feel like, yeah, who wants some more? I'd fight in your honor as my friend. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Thank you, ladies. We were talking about people being psychos and relationships because Amy was watching Dirty John. Yeah. Here you go. A Long Island man, Matthew Burke thought a bottle of wine had gone bad.
Starting point is 01:25:13 He took a sip of it. It was like, ugh. So he spit it out, right? The next day, his four-year-old son told a babysitter, Mommy put something in daddy's drink. What did you get in there? Prosecutors say his estranged wife Broke into his apartment On at least three occasions
Starting point is 01:25:32 And put Anna Freeze in bottles wine Whoa No No No! They can't die Was she trying to get rid of them? Yeah Obviously
Starting point is 01:25:41 How does she think he's not going to taste the anna freeze? She was indicted Thursday On charges of attempted to murder Attempted to Saul, burglary and endangering the welfare of a child Yeah, keep that in mind people Faces up 25 years in prison What?
Starting point is 01:25:55 So here's what happened he calls police and they say install surveillance cameras. So they captured her again, accompanied by the eight-year-old daughter, pouring a pink liquid into a bottle of wine in his kitchen. Whoa. Man, women are crazy. I don't think it's a woman thing. I think it's just a person thing.
Starting point is 01:26:12 It's a person thing, because obviously Dirty John's a man. That's true. We're even. Yeah, good one, Amy. Who sent the thousands of text messages we talked about? Oh, Matthew Burke had full custody of both children while she had temporary visitation. and her internet search history said things like
Starting point is 01:26:29 what liquids for cars can kill a human Of course Oh, thank gosh So she was upset about the custody And so she... Well, there's a reason why he had full custody Yeah, right I think she's gonna lose her visitation too
Starting point is 01:26:40 I think so too Here's what we're gonna ask This could turn into something like that's... Oh boy What's the most psycho thing You've ever done in a relationship? Wow Hopefully it's nothing like that
Starting point is 01:26:51 Like when you try to kill somebody But I think we've all gone a little crazy What? I have not gone crazy. Someone's gone crazy on me, but I haven't gone. You haven't, come on. Think about it. Just think about it. Let me think about the psychos I've gone. Psycho or crazy. Give me the craziest thing you've ever done. If you'll admit it. 877-77 Bobby. Anybody in the room have one that want to share coming up?
Starting point is 01:27:13 I'm trying to think. Raymundo has one. He comes up quick. Okay, what about you, Bobby? Well, I'll come back in a minute. 877-77 Bobby. That's our phone number. The most psycho thing you've ever done in a relationship. relationship. Call share, okay. You won't go to jail. We promise. Yes. To admit the most psycho thing that they've done, okay?
Starting point is 01:27:34 Reba in Georgia, you're on the year. Hi. Okay, so the most psychics thing I've ever done is I created a fake Tinder account to see if my boyfriend was still using Tinder. And I made sure the girl was like the perfect type, had red hair, everything. And he wasn't. Complete fail. So you built this fake person his type. But is it like you? I found a girl in mine.
Starting point is 01:28:02 That was his perfect type and everything, and it just, it didn't work. Are you guys still together? No, no, it was my boyfriend. Okay. Thank you. You're on the air, Robin, the most psycho thing you've ever done. I had an ex-wife who wouldn't move out. So I turned off the electric, the water, the gas.
Starting point is 01:28:20 Oh. And, you know, she finally moved out. Did you live without electric, water, and gas? No, I moved to a different... I was living in Nashville. She was living in Kentucky. Oh, a different place. You shut it all off.
Starting point is 01:28:33 It was in your name. Oh, yeah. She didn't, like, burn the place down, huh? No, no. She decided to leave with her and her kids. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. They're not your kids?
Starting point is 01:28:43 No kids were involved. Yeah, kids were involved. Wait, so you turned off the electric and water and all the things for the kids? Yeah. It wasn't my kids. Yeah, but they're still kids. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:54 I stole their food. Maybe she didn't have anywhere else to go. I burned their school books. Not my problem. Yeah. Not my problems. Okay. Hey, I appreciate that, Robin.
Starting point is 01:29:05 Oh, wow, wow. Yeah. Wow. I mean, he was their stepdad at some way, right? I don't know. Hey, not his problem. Not our problem. Hey, Raymond, now coming to you in a second.
Starting point is 01:29:16 If you want to grab a mic. All right. Hey, Jenny and Georgia. Yes. Most psycho thing you've ever done. Go ahead. Um, so I put a family. tracker on my husband, my ex-husband now, his cell phone to track him 45 minutes to a
Starting point is 01:29:32 different city and call him cheating. Oh, you did catch him. Oh, yeah. Is it psycho, though, if you actually find out that something's up? Because isn't it like, it just depends what the result is? Oh, yeah. If you find out that they were doing bad, isn't it just you were pretty good at figuring anything about? Yeah, you're a detective. And if they weren't, then you're psycho. Yes. Yeah, it's kind of like you just have to see where it falls. Okay. Jenny, I would say that That's not psycho. Really? Did you feel psycho?
Starting point is 01:29:58 I had the whole story. You would know it was psycho. He put my internet off so I couldn't catch him on Facebook. So I took my laptop to McDonald and added the family tracker on his phone and actually tracked him down to a different city. But something's up. If he's doing that, something's up. Yeah, you're not being psycho.
Starting point is 01:30:17 You were being like, you were investigative reporting. Hey, thank you. Jenny, non-psy. Jenny. Let's go over and talk to Jamie in Ohio. Jamie, most psycho thing you've done. Hi there. I put hot red pepper flakes and my husband's coffee crowns and when he preset the coffee pot the night before work and he brewed it. Took a tectermus of it to work to share with his friend. His friend complained that his throat was burning and then my husband's was burning. He thought maybe they just had sore throats, but yeah, I was getting him back for being kind of rude
Starting point is 01:30:48 the night before. Wow. And his friend got punished for that too. I miss what she put in the coffee. Red pepper flakes. In the coffee grounds. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I love it. Psycho.
Starting point is 01:30:58 Yeah. Thank you, Jamie. Ramundo, our audio producer, what's the most psycho thing you've done? Yeah, this is my ex-girlfriend. So she came over to my place and she broke up with me,
Starting point is 01:31:06 and then she just randomly took a nap, so I already had her password and everything. So I got on her phone and every single picture she had on that bad boy, deleted, never to be ever seen again. And this is before Instagram. So the phone pictures you out on your phone are pretty big deal.
Starting point is 01:31:18 Gone. You deleted all of her pictures? Everyone. Just the ones with you? Everything. Just hit them all, select, all delete. I got it. How's your revenge?
Starting point is 01:31:29 I got into an ex-girlfriend's email once. She left it open on my computer. That just seemed like you. I was like 23. Oh. It was like the last lifetime. But I was like going, well, it's up. And I was wondering.
Starting point is 01:31:39 I was like, I wonder if she's cheating on me? She wasn't. But I read all the emails just to make sure. Yeah. That was like the only thing I ever did where I was like, I'm not proud of that. I talked about it on the air a long time ago. Lunchbox, did you ever do anything, Psycho? No.
Starting point is 01:31:51 You're pretty good? Listen, I love them, leave them, I don't need them. Oh my gosh. You're married with a baby. I know, but back in the day, I love them leave him. I didn't need them. But so you never did anything? No, I really never did anything.
Starting point is 01:32:04 Okay, well, did you? No. I mean, I'm trying to think, and I'm like, I haven't sought revenge or done anything crazy. We're talking about that Dirty John podcast and the TV show. Yeah. And apparently that dude's psycho. Yes. Crazy.
Starting point is 01:32:18 Crazy. Thanks for all the calls. Let's be of other ones. You can give us a call. 877-Bobby. Hey, is it Diron? Byron. Byron.
Starting point is 01:32:29 How you doing, bud? Yes, sir. How you doing? Good. What did you do? It's not me. It was my ex-girlfriend. We had a kind of like a disagreement, and she threw a butcher state knife at me.
Starting point is 01:32:43 Oh. And I ducked, and she hit the ball. She's doing a knife at you? Whoa. Yeah. If that hits you, she probably. goes to jail if it hit you the right way. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:53 I mean, if it goes blade first into you, she probably goes to jail. Probably so. I locked myself in the room and I called her parents and I told her she had to go. Yeah, she has to go right now. All right, appreciate that call.
