The Bobby Bones
Post Show pre-show
Monday show is over
So just kind of
Talking about what we did today
A little bit
I got hit in the face
With the racquetball
Yesterday though
I was playing racquetball
Oh
And
So there's a cut in my mouth
And a cut can be like
A centimeter
And it feels like it's 10 foot long
It's a hip around the cheek
So it's so hard to go away
And I was talking to your husband
yesterday
and he was like, yeah, I play racquetball.
I'm good.
And I was like...
What?
First of all, I didn't even play
a racquetball ever.
Oh, yeah, he said it was good.
Because I played with Jared,
my friend, who's also my trainer.
Yeah?
And, like, I was...
This is two different levels of racquetball in this.
I'm pretty good.
I'm like really good, but I'm pretty good.
He had only played a couple times.
So, I won, like five times in a row.
Oh, wow.
You won.
You were better.
I was picturing him,
being better than you, but okay.
Yeah, me too.
Don't picture that.
It's a terrible picture.
Sorry.
But I guess we both hadn't played since college.
It would have been a long time.
But I was just better than he was.
And so I was dominating like 15-2, 15-1, 15-2.
And I was talking to your husband, I was like,
because he's like, hey, I'm going to go to one of your gyms.
And it was that whole thing where he was like, I'm going to pay.
I'm like, why won't you pay?
Like, I own the gyms.
Yeah.
And then I was like, do you ever play racquetball?
And he's like, play.
He goes, I'm good.
What?
Yeah.
And I was like, great, because he's a member of the Y.
Yeah, he is.
And that's where we played that day.
That's where he works out.
And so...
Interesting.
Do you not know him to play racquetball?
Nope.
But, I mean, could be back from back in the day.
Maybe his college days.
I don't know.
That's so interesting to me.
That'd be awesome.
I would love it if he was like really good at racquetball.
I don't even think I've ever seen him play tennis.
So weird.
Not super similar.
Just a racket.
I know.
But I mean, yeah, I'm going to have to ask.
I'm like, what are these racquetball days that you have in your life?
Well, we may go play now.
And he was like, yeah, I'm good.
I was like, good.
I need to play somebody that can push me a little bit.
Okay.
But I hit Morgan number two up yesterday.
I was like, hey, you want to play picklewall?
And then it took her like nine hours to respond.
And by then I moved all in my life.
And I think I hit her like 10 a.m.
At about 6 when I got the message back from her.
She was like, yeah, I'll play.
You want to try to find a...
And I was like, that was yesterday.
I sent that message to you 100 years ago.
We moved on.
Yeah.
It's okay, Morgan, number two.
What?
I've been delayed in an answer too
and I like one time
Oh one time I never know
That's what happened
When you and Morgan number two
We're going boxing
I never even replied to your text
Because I didn't know it was there
And then you were perplexed as to why I didn't show up
No we talked about it in the daytime
That we were going
And you too
And then I was like
But we didn't know at time
So I didn't know if I even could make it
But it wasn't a question
You said it was always the same time
We always go the same time
And I said hey you want to go
You said yes
She said yes
And so I texted you at like
11 a.m.
The time
But I said hey we're going to go at
Three and then Amy, no show.
I didn't see it and then at three.
But how do you not see it for four hours?
You don't look at your phone for four hours.
She was asleep.
She went to sleep.
You're not asleep.
No, your kids were home.
Amy's all posting Instagram stories.
Oh, I didn't see it.
There's texts I don't see all the time.
It just goes to show.
It just depends.
That's not an excuse.
It goes to show.
Okay.
It goes to show.
You knew you were getting a text.
It was coming because we had talked about it.
And then yet you were still on your phone shooting into stories, puppy filters.
That's crazy.
Okay.
Now, you don't even remember one.
Maybe you have to be aware of that.
He has no idea if I posted stories that day.
Amy, if you're going to ghost someone or just not, you can't go.
I really want to go.
And you can't even look at your red on Instagram.
It'll say scene.
So you can't even open it up.
On Instagram, yeah.
But on text, no.
It still blows my mind that some people have that on text.
Mikey does.
Yeah, Red.
I know.
Mikey, what is your reasoning to have?
having your read on your text messages.
Accountability?
I just leave it on.
Because I see when you see it.
Yeah.
But he does respond right away.
Right away.
You know I read it, so you don't have the question that I didn't see a text message.
I think it's important.
Oh, well, maybe I'm going to throw that on there, so the Bobby will know if it's red or not.
Yeah, but you can still look at it and not read it, too.
I know.
The worst part is if I want to, they need a way for you to put a dot back on a text,
because that way you're reminded, sort of like an email.
You can read it, but then mark it is unread.
that way you can go back to it.
And it's like there.
Like text messages, if you check it,
but you can't reply right that second.
Oh, it's gone.
It's like,
it goes down the line.
You're like, oh, shoot.
But if you were to be able to market,
we shouldn't admit that.
I said, hey, I'll send you the time.
You never looked at your phone.
But you did post Insta stories.
I believe that was the one day
you were back on Snapchat.
Okay, whatever.
I don't even have it.
She was doing fines.
I don't even have Snapchat on my phone.
Like, guys, I got a new MySpace page
today.
We're back.
Lisa's not still bothering him
Oh it doesn't bother me
She brought it up
Well I was trying to have Morgan number two's back
That sometimes we miss text
We don't get it right away
You didn't miss, you didn't look
And she even said sorry I was asleep
Because I guess you went hard this weekend
Yeah I was still recovering on Sunday
I needed like a three hour nap
See
Sometimes we miss things
Not the same
I got a bunch of texts here
From the show today
Hey Bobby shake it off your official
Go-to karaoke song now
It is not.
What happened though yesterday, and you can see it on my ancestor story right now,
we were all sitting on the back porch at Amy's house,
and her son was like, let's sing a song.
And nobody wanted to sing.
And I'm holding a rib in my hand.
I was eating a rib.
And he really wanted someone to take the stage.
He was like, step right up, sing whatever in your heart.
Just feel it.
Take a deep breath and get up here and take the stage,
and nobody would take the stage.
So I took the stage.
I got you.
And it did start the chain reaction.
It did.
And so I sang shake it off because we're really the only words I knew right then.
So I did that, but it is not my karaoke song.
Someone writes, this is Chrissy, says peanut butter on a cheeseburger is delicious.
Any idea why that came up in this text?
Yeah, we were talking about cheeseburger.
I think Amy was doing the top five toppings, but it was the toppings.
That's right.
Peanut butter on a cheeseburger?
Disgusting.
You know what I do?
The greatest thing for my dog is one of those Kong balls, and I put peanut butter inside of it,
and then I freeze it, and then the peanut butter is on the outside of it, too.
So it's frozen, one, takes a minute, and then two, he just stays at it.
that dog in the chewing
all he does is want to bite and chew everything
but as I mentioned today
I opened his mouth to see really what it was
if he just likes to chew
but his teeth are still coming through the gums
and it's got to be painful
so I take my thumb and rub it a little bit
but then he just bites my thumb and that sucks
and he's getting stronger
which stinks too
celebrity couple that we missed today in the draft
Willie and Whalen
would have been funny
good one
that's funny
Donnie and Marie Osman
Probably wouldn't win, but these are options from people.
Goldie Haunted Kurt Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
So a lot of people, we did the celebrity couple draft today.
I don't think we'll do a draft tomorrow, but open to suggestions for Wednesday.
For what the draft will be?
Just think about it.
It can be anything.
Okay.
I'll be thinking.
All right.
Be thinking.
I spent someone last night just thinking about it, though.
I was like, what on my first couple?
And my first draft today, what you'll hear, is Mary and Joseph.
Boom.
How do you not pick Jesus' mom?
That's all I'm saying?
Yeah.
I don't know.
You got us on that one.
No, you definitely won.
It's fine.
I don't know that I won because people are voting.
I hope people vote for me.
And if they don't, you know, God bless them.
Nice.
Go over to Facebook, which if you're watching this, you're on Facebook anyway.
People are still asking about Amy's new win song.
You don't have one yet, do you?
Nope.
We're still living with the old one.
I have some notes here, things I wanted to talk about.
Ramundo wants to do it.
What are you looking forward to?
Ramundo, is that a thing?
Yeah, stuff coming up.
Maybe you got on the old schedule, on the docket,
just around the room.
Why, though?
Is it one that you have?
Yeah, for me, I got Madden 20 coming out this week.
I'm a big PlayStation 4 guy,
and that's definitely the best game.
And I hear this one's going to be the best one yet,
so I can't wait.
Do you come over at the house to play?
Do you play still a little bit?
I got a whole setup.
Well, I played Madden.
for about two months.
This is what I do with Madden.
Every year I buy it.
Get about six, seven games in, I go,
all right, see you next year.
But I've done it for a long time.
So I'll play with you a little bit.
And you can play online though, too.
Yeah, we could also do that
so I can just chill at the crib then and play you.
Yeah.
You're probably a lot better, though.
I've been playing my chick, honestly.
I haven't played at all in like nine months.
Okay.
So if you get it, that'd be fun.
The coolest thing about playing my girl
is she really doesn't know plays.
So she never runs the ball.
I can always just drop all my DBs.
It's pretty sweet playing her.
And you just dominate.
No, honestly, she's beat me sometimes before,
but I'm excited for the new players on the new teams.
I think the graphics are going to be almost like the players are in your living room.
Amy, you looking forward to anything?
I'm not looking forward to something.
Nothing?
I'm not looking forward to football.
Oh, you're anti-looking forward.
Yeah.
Apparently that's like a month away.
I think next week is the first like a little sniff of it, right?
Oh, really?
Wow.
Okay.
It's about to get real football.
season every year. Just like
so much football all the time.
Thursdays, Saturdays,
Saturday morning, college game day.
Go turn it on. Sundays, Mondays.
Yeah, Monday night. Are you ready for some football?
All the time.
Lunchbox wait looking forward to. The Bachelorette season finale
tonight and tomorrow night. Two night,
two, I guess, two nights,
probably six hours of TV.
I wish I, this is a season
I kind of wait. I mean, I'm not into it. I'm too late.
Ratings are fantastic. I hear from people. It's so good that I
regret not at getting into it and now it's too late.
Yeah, I would agree it's too late.
You never want to go back and catch up.
Especially stuff that's like you already know the result.
But I know who wins. I know who wins.
I've always known who wins.
You do?
Uh-huh.
We tell me.
No.
Not you.
Oh.
I know you don't want to know.
I'm not telling you off the air.
I want to spoil it for people.
No, I know.
No, I'm not telling you right now.
The cameras are on me.
Eddie looking for, or lunchbox looking for it?
Oh, you did Bachelor.
Lunchbox?
What's your name?
My name's Eddie.
God.
Go ahead.
I'm going to go with football.
I mean, that's really what I'm looking forward to.
I love football.
Like Amy said, I mean, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
I love it.
Why not just add it?
What's up with Tuesday and Wednesday?
Well, Friday's high school football.
Okay, yep.
Yes.
Yeah.
And then you can go to any high school and watch football.
It's fun.
Tuesday, Wednesday, just break.
I don't know what the, probably.
Morgan number two, what are you looking forward to?
Well, I'm going to try this.
ice cream place. It's right by
my new place and it's called Bobby's
Dairy Dib. And it's supposed to be the best one.
I was in the base. I've been there. It's fantastic.
Is that yours, bones? No, it's B Ombi.
Oh. Yeah. It's so good.
It's so old school. It's
awesome. You got to, for me to go
to there, I have this
like, reward scale that I treat
myself on. If I hit like
10 meals perfectly,
then I get to have like pizza or something.
Right? This is the way I can control
my over. And last night
I thought I was going to overeat last night.
I really didn't.
You talked me into eating a little more than I was planning on it?
What?
Because I wanted you to eat a meatball.
Because you were like, eat the meatballs.
It's just protein.
Yeah.
Me roll in my eyes.
I can't hear it.
Well, I forgot to put the, I didn't know if the meatballs were really out.
And then I realized I had all these meatballs.
And I knew people would like them, but they just weren't.
They were covered up.
And so then I was like walking around like, please eat a meatball.
And I ate a meatball.
But I got home last night.
I didn't hate myself because I didn't overeat.
Yeah.
But I had to like save up for that meal.
Mm-hmm.
Even at brunch yesterday.
I went to brunch yesterday.
And I just had fruit and a little bit of grits with nothing on it.
Oh.
And like a little bit of egg.
And that's what you had on your date?
I don't know that it was.
Okay.
Sure.
Okay.
I don't know.
We learned later in the show Bobby went on a date because Morgan number two has eyes.
I don't think that's fair to say that it was a date.
I asked you if it was work-related and you said no.
So why else do you go to?
brunch with a girl.
Okay.
You know what?
It's fairerbones.
Whatever.
Why else would you go to brunch with a girl?
What do you want for me?
What'd she order?
Similar stuff.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
It was good.
I missed a date, sure.
We'll call it that.
Would you say you had like half an egg?
I ate light because I knew I had some substantial eating to have your house,
eat at your house, and I still didn't overeat.
It was fantastic.
He had great food.
It was good.
It's a fantastic little shin dig.
I'm looking forward to Friday night, Eddie and I are in Chicago playing.
Raging Idiots in Chicago.
So it was good.
That would be good.
And then we're back the next week, San Antonio Austin.
They were on it.
Then El Paso and Amarillo.
But then we have coming up late August, we get another few days off.
And I'm going somewhere.
I've never been before.
Sweet.
And I've been everywhere.
Do you all have a show that weekend before we go now?
It's just you're going straight into the...
Straight out.
I love it when you do that.
Like when you're going somewhere and we don't even know.
we have to find out.
Oh, you like that?
I do.
I don't tell you.
You've done it before.
But you have to put clues.
Yeah.
It's like where's Waldo?
Yeah.
Or something.
Well, what's your first question?
Go ahead.
About your trip?
Yeah.
No, because I feel like I know that that one.
Yes or no question.
You need a passport?
Oh my gosh.
Your answer for today is.
He's not going to Toledo.
Yes.
Okay.
Need a passport.
Although he's probably been to Toledo.
You know, I've been most places in the States.
Yeah.
I say most, almost every state.
Not Alaska.
Oh, good point.
Don't need a passport for Alaska, but I haven't been to Alaska.
See, Eddie, he could have been going to Alaska.
Eddie took his kids to freaking wrestling.
I did.
I did.
And it was quite the experience because I thought, I mean, when we were kids, wrestling was fun and cool.
But they had no idea what they were walking into, and they were scared.
Like, the first, like, hour was hard.
I mean, we walk right in, and these two dudes are in the ring yelling each other, like,
I will shut your face.
If you don't shut it.
And they're like, oh, what's going on?
And I had to sit them.
And I don't know if this is spoiler alert,
but I had to sit them like separately and be like,
hey, guys, this isn't, they're acting.
I don't think that's spoiler alert.
Okay, do people know that?
The wrestling's not real, yes.
Amy.
All wrestling's acting?
Like professional wrestling?
Yeah.
Yes.
Okay, but bones, she has a point.
I didn't know, because the people around us are like, yeah.
Yeah, like, I don't get it.
Like, why do you?
I mean, I get it's entertaining, but if it's not real,
I don't get it.
You're not supposed to get it.
They're not targeting you.
Okay.
You also don't get Fortnite,
which we'll talk about later,
and you start taking shots of these kids.
No, I did not take shots at the kids.
Guys, wasn't she jumping on them.
No, no, no, no, no.
There's nothing wrong with it.
It's okay.
I genuinely wanted to know about, like,
what do they have time for?
No, he said something else specifically.
Do you have a girlfriend?
Yeah. So you went to get the car.
Yeah.
Oh, gosh.
So parking situation downtown is rough.
So I dropped them off at the arena and then I would park.
And then afterwards, I had to go back to the parking lot, get my car, and pick them up.
And they were waiting curbside.
And it took me like 25 minutes to get back.
And my wife was just like, oh, my goodness, you couldn't get here any quicker.
These boys, like, I guess Bachelorette parties downtown went pretty hard.
And, like, there was a bus going by.
And they like, oh, they flashed your boys?
They took, yeah, like not my boys, everyone around them, but my boys are like, my wife said they saw.
And so I'm pretty sure my 11-year-old, because he was acting weird when I got back.
I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure he guys, you guys a glimpse of his first pair, which is crazy.
Like, that's not how you want it to go down.
It's not?
What?
That's the best way.
Are you kidding?
Is an 11-year-old?
No, he was obviously, like, pumped.
You know, like, I could get it.
But, I mean, my-wopped.
Dude, my wife was so mad.
She was just like, we're never doing this.
If it's past like 9 o'clock, we can't be downtown.
You can't punish them for one crazy bachelor party.
The bachelor's right?
No, I'm not punishing them.
They loved it.
I'm saying you won't take them out now at night because they got boobed by one group.
She just said we got to, we should probably be out of downtown before like 11.
Because it was late.
It was about 10.30.
11, I can see.
And so another funny story is when we're driving out, we're stuck like on the strip,
Broadway strip.
And my foster kid, he's looking out the window and Al Deans, I guess Morgan number two is probably there.
There's a line, like a big line going on.
He's like, Eddie, stop the car.
We've got to go in there.
And I'm like, what are you talking about?
Look at that place.
Everyone wants to go in.
We have to go in there right now.
That place must be super cool.
We're like, no, Bob, we're not going in there.
Maybe someday, bud.
He saw a line and knew that was cool.
Oh, he was just like, that's the place to go.
I mean, they loved it.
They thought downtown was the coolest place ever.
You took how many kids with you?
All of them.
Even the baby?
Even the baby.
Yeah.
Wife, baby, foster kid, my two kids.
Any big wrestlers show up from back in the day?
I don't know.
I don't know who they are anymore.
Like no John Sina.
No Undertaker.
No Hulk Hogan.
I don't know who any of these people are.
You can't remember one wrestler?
That wrestles now?
That you saw.
Oh, yeah.
I saw a big Samoa Joe.
Is that a guy?
Are you making that out?
No.
Oh, it is?
Yeah.
Samoa Joe?
Joe doesn't sound like the most Samoa name.
No, but I guess he's Samoa.
He's Samoan.
I don't know.
There were these two girls.
There were these two tag team girls.
Are sisters?
No.
Yeah, who are those girls?
I don't know them.
Some twins.
They're not the Bella twins.
Bella twins, but they weren't there.
No, man, there was no one.
She's not what John Cena anymore.
I think, oh, did I say was or is?
I don't know.
She's with Dancing with the Stars guy.
Oh.
Huff?
No.
Who?
Yeah, who?
Who don't know.
He danced with the girl who was blind this last year.
Oh.
Sort of blind.
Yeah.
All the way blind?
No, but like the middle was blind for her.
Right.
And you know, I know a girl like that, like a friend of ours now who has the same thing.
She's like, it's pretty rough.
Yeah.
It's like everything's blurry.
It's like you see kind of like a circle of blur.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like my ride eye doesn't work.
about a little sympathy over here.
Is that what you see?
I just, like, I close my right eye.
There's no different.
Except it just gets dark over here.
Like sometimes I'll yell at you from your right side.
You won't see me.
I'll have to turn all the way around.
All right, we're done.
I got a meeting to go too.
Thank you all.
Have a great day.
Check out.
You got a podcast going up today or tomorrow.
Tomorrow.
All right, never mind.
But I mean, you can check out old episodes.
Who cares?
Don't waste your time.
All right.
Thank you very much.
Rood.
Hey, won't you look at my text message?
Ever.
Did you just text me?
No.
Okay.
No, no, no.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
Thank you very much.
Here's Monday, July 29th show.
Goodbye.

Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
And welcome to Monday show.
More studio.
Morning.
All right.
Nikki is on.
Hey, Nikki.
Are you there?
Hello.
Look at you.
You're on the air.
How would you like to proceed?
Hey, Bobby.
I'm Nikki.
Actually, in terms of you guys and I, when y'all weren't often.
How many years ago is that?
Probably like 10.
Wow, there she is.
She's back, folks.
Lunchbox used to call me nasty Nikki, and I don't know why, but the name kind of stuff.
Lunchbox nicknamed you nasty Nikki?
Yeah.
Nasty Nicky.
It's right on air long.
That's rude.
Yeah, but it's a really funny story, and people actually
really love it when I tell them that.
Yeah, it's a really good party story.
That you were nasty, Nikki, on the Bobby Bowen show.
Wait, yeah, why did Lunchbox nickname you that?
Now I remember, but I don't know.
It just flows, like sensitive Sally, nasty Nikki.
I mean, I don't know.
So, Nikki, what are you doing now in life?
I still live in Austin to actually work something down in Austin.
Yeah, I'm actually about to walk into work now, but I wanted to say, howdy y'all?
Do you feel like your internship at our show has prepared you for life?
absolutely in every way
there she is
I remember all the fun things we did
so yeah it was a great experience for sure
old nasty Nikki there she is
I don't like that
what was wrong with us back in the day
I didn't name her that
I know but Bobby
what do you mean us
you get a mouth in your pocket
because I did not have anything to do
with nasty Nikki
but that's how she was referred to on air
not by me
Nikki
Nikki
did I ever refer to as nasty Nikki
no never
Exactly.
Okay.
I would call her, I would call her Nito Nikki.
Yeah.
Oh, cool.
Yeah.
All right.
Nikki, thank you for calling.
I'd like to apologize for 10 years ago.
No, you're fine.
All right.
No, it's all good.
Were we all nice to you?
Oh, yeah.
It was a great experience.
He did like name that tune competitions and all that fun stuff.
So yeah, I have great memories of y'all.
All right.
We'll let you get into work.
I know what's early.
Thank you, Nikki.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Nito, Niki.
There she is calling it early.
Lunchbug has matured since then.
Hey, has he?
No, I still call her nasty Nikki
A guy in Boston flashed a female jogger
But picked the wrong person
She's 6'1
She's an officer in the Israeli military
She chased him down, tackled him, beat the crap out of him
And held him there
That would be my luck
Like I finally get the nerve to flash somebody
Wait, but no, you don't do it
No, that's ill
I wouldn't do that
But I'm saying that would be my luck
If you would rob it
I'd finally go, okay, it's time of me to rob a house
And I'd rob it and it'd be a UFC fighter
And there you go
Because what are the odds?
Right.
No one stopped to help.
So she beat him up and then called 911.
And a security camera got it on video.
Yeah, take that perv.
Yeah, take that pervo.
That's Pervo deluxe.
How is that even a thing?
I don't know.
My friend got flashed once on the hiking bike in Austin.
How'd that go?
I mean, he was a serial flasher.
It was all over the news and she happened to be one of the people that saw it and it's crazy.
It's crazy to me and it's terrible because there's also kids on the trail.
Yeah, that's where it gets real, I see.
It's like stop being gross.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I also wouldn't flash anyone bigger than me.
Mm-hmm.
She's six foot one.
She probably, she caught him.
Beat the crap out of him.
But she is real skinny.
So, I mean, he may just saw, I mean, and how do you catch that on camera?
Out of all the things.
And it's security camera.
They have over the top.
It's just like Big Brother looking down.
Oh, spying on everybody.
They're watching everything.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
I watch the top.
text screen. I have this monitor
that tells me everybody's texting. And I get a
message that goes, hey Bob. Nobody calls
me Bob. Like three people. And one of those people is
Jake Owen. He goes, hey Bob, let's play
some pickleball. And Morgan number two
sees him. It goes, is that Jake Owen? So I look at my
phone and see if the numbers match. And Jake's like
texting our screen. He's on right now.
Hey.
Jake Owen. Hello. Good morning.
We have him or no.
Ramundo.
There he is. Hey, how are you, bud?
What's up, Bob?
Yeah, thank you.
Do you know, like my grandmother, you and one other person call me Bob, and that's it.
Because I'm not a Bob.
I'm a Bobby.
Yeah, you're definitely not a Bob, but I just figured I'd get your attention.
When I heard, I was driving home from the gym and listening to you guys talk,
and when you said you had a high-tech screen that you could text in, I thought, no way I'm doing it.
So I did, and you guys actually responded.
So it goes to the show for your listeners out there that you were actually paying attention.
Wait, how are you working out so early?
Dude, I've always like working.
I always work out 6 a.m.
Because then I'm done by 7.
Then I have 7 to 8 to take 45 minutes and call my mom,
talk to her for 45 minutes.
And then I got another 15 minutes before the phone starts ringing
with like real day-to-day stuff.
I was looking at your Instagram.
You had a picture of the baby and your girl,
like standing out in the field.
You're like, this is what life is about.
Yeah, man.
Life's good.
I have zero complaints at all in life, man.
And I feel pretty lucky.
You know, my heart broke to saw all the stuff in California last night.
I'm at another, you know, festival of shooting and that kind of stuff breaks my heart.
So I'm very thankful with all the...
I thought the picture was sweet.
And I tried to reach out and play pickleball this weekend.
I didn't know you were in town.
And I've never played pickleball because it's like a...
Explain to me what pickleball is.
Well, I'm glad you asked for the reason I said that in that texting to the screen was you mentioned you were playing.
You said, uh, pickleball is basically like a smaller version of tennis, except it's like ping pong.
stand-up, play with the paddle, play with the wiffle ball,
but it's not as like one that got me
into that pretty good. Not a name drop there,
but just a thing to let you know that
if you're in name-drawn,
I didn't get that from you guys.
That's a name drop.
Listen, we're going to play home in just a second.
I just saw your text and thought I would
hit you up. Let me ask you this. I'm about to
draft in the celebrity couple draft
and what we do is we go down the line
and it's like fantasy football. We draft our teams.
I have my first round pick
already in concrete. Who is
favorite celebrity couple of all time Jake
A couple of all time? I don't know
I'd have to say probably
Pan Johnny and June maybe
That's sitting there on the draft board now if someone wants
Johnny and June. Wow
What a guess. All right. Jake Owen
We're going to play your new song coming up in a second. You know we're big
fans of you and we'll see you around here soon bud.
You guys are great man. Appreciate y'all.
All right there is. Jake Owen working out early this morning. Wow.
Johnny and June that's
really good.
Yeah, really good.
The Bobby Bones show.
Big three stories.
Let's go over to our producer, Ramundo.
Ramundo, what you got over there?
Jessica Alba's Twitter account was hacked on Saturday
and flooded with a bunch of posts that were bad.
Luckily, she deleted the post.
She now has control of her account again.
In California, cops shot a gunman at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.
The band killed three people and injured 15 others.
And finally, the FBI is offering $10,000 if you turn in the bank robber,
who's been called the Pink Lady Bandit.
Pictures of her are online.
She's now robbed four banks along the East Coast in recent weeks.
I want to go over and talk to Tina in Kansas City, who's on the phone right now.
Hey, Tina, good morning.
Hey, Bobby.
What's happening?
How are you guys?
We're pretty good.
I just wanted to call in and let you know that I have been, I'm a new fan of yours a couple months now, maybe a little more.
but I had been a long-time listener of our morning program here, probably 25 years,
and I am just addicted to you guys now.
I just have to turn you on every morning.
Oh, thanks.
It's just so funny, and I love that you guys care about kids
and the whole foster and adoption thing that you guys are doing,
and it's just really great.
I just wanted to let you guys know that.
I got to be honest, we got some good people on this show.
You talk about foster and adoption.
Amy's two children are adopted.
and Eddie's got fostering two children
and I feel like you guys also
A bit, foster me
With your love
You've adopted you
With your special love
Yes
Yeah
It takes a really big heart to do that
And I've been and done
In personal ways even
And it's great that you guys
There's such good people out there to do that
My Tina, thank you
And thanks for listening
And man if you tell your friends about us
That'd be awesome
Because they can listen to IHeart Radio
Right there
I will do so
All right. Thank you, Tina. See you later.
Thanks.
Tammy in Mississippi, you are on the Bobby Bone Show.
Hi, Tammy.
Hi, good morning.
Good morning. I'm just sitting here with these knuckleheads. What do you want to say?
I just wanted to let you know. Not only do you make my morning, my grandson loves
to you. He's four. And the minute we get in the car, put on the Bobby Bone Show.
Bobby Bone Show, he loves y'all.
Great kid.
And I want to thank y'all for having a show that he can listen to. I can listen to without worries.
of him hearing something.
Give that kid a raise.
That's what I say.
Give him a raise.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
And yes, he's a great kid and y'all are wonderful.
I was adopted.
Go Amy.
You know, I'll tell you this, Tammy.
I'm glad you said that because every time Amy leaves a studio when we go home, I say that
to her, go Amy!
Okay, cheer out of the building.
And she walks into the world.
I'm like, go anything you can do it!
He's my biggest cheerleader.
Yes.
All right, Tammy.
Thank you for calling.
I am your cheerleader.
Y'all have a great day.
All right.
See you later.
Amy's our little angel.
Go Amy!
Go Amy!
Go, y'all.
Whatever.
According to a new survey, workers say they're the most productive on what day of the week?
Oh, most productive on Tuesday?
Monday.
Oh.
And then every day it goes down a little bit.
Like Monday.
That sucks.
Oh, I love Mondays.
That means we got five whole shows they do.
Okay.
Woo!
I love that.
See, I feel like Tuesday.
Like Monday, you've got to get it out of the way because it's like you're back from the weekend.
You're trying to catch up a little bit.
but then Tuesday you're like, okay, I'm here for the week.
Let's do this.
Like we're back today and I woke up going, all right, is this going to be a good week?
Yes or yes?
Only got one option, really.
Oh, yes.
You don't even give yourself the option of no.
You give yourself an option.
You take it sometimes.
Productivity goes down every day after Monday.
Most people feel most productive on Monday.
Here's what it is.
Monday, for me, super productive.
Tuesday's good.
Wednesday.
Eh, it's just a day.
It's like an island.
Who cares about Wednesday?
but Thursday and Friday, I'm feeling pretty good again.
Yeah.
For me, I'm probably least productive on Wednesdays.
You?
Least productive on Fridays.
Yeah, that's probably common.
I can tell.
There's some Fridays.
I'm like, go, Amy.
Instead of going to get, Amy.
Yeah, but my most productive, don't you want to know my most?
Yes, please.
Oh, I told you.
Tuesday.
Tuesdays, yes.
Mine's Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Saturday.
Sunday.
Love you say, I'm so productive on Sunday.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
Hey, thanks for hanging out.
Over to Carrie in Denver, listening to
the show. Hey, Carrie, welcome to the Bobby Bone show.
Hi. What's happening? Morning studio. Morning.
I just wanted to say how much I loved your show. I've been listening since the fourth grade.
My teacher had played in her classroom. And when I moved out to college, I got my roommate
hooked. And now I got my fiance hooked, even though he swore he hated morning talk radio
shows. Fourth grade. How old do you think we are? I know how old you guys are. Lunchbox just turned
38?
Yeah.
Fourth grade.
You're not that old.
How old are you?
I'm 25.
Well, hold on.
Let me do the math here.
That's right.
If fourth grade is 10.
That's 15 years.
Mm-hmm.
That adds up.
Amy, how long have you been with me?
Over 13 years.
Where did you live, Carrie?
I lived in Buda, so just south of Austin.
Yeah, shut up.
My mom, she was a police officer when you guys were on the show,
and she remembers this one instance you had interns like strap on skis and run down south congress
you're right you know what she's been here since the beginning i was going to be like there's
no way but uh yeah even pre amy and lunchbox it seems like you've been around wow look at you
yeah long time long time now all my friends are fans now she's retiring it's a she's gonna
stop listening no she's retiring we're all old we're all a hundred well carrie thank you for calling
you know what i pressed you and said are you telling the truth and you are you
telling the truth. That's pretty awesome. Thanks for being with us the entire time.
Yeah, thank you guys. I really appreciate it. All right. Thanks, Carrie. See you later.
Wow. Wow. Look at that. I know. I know. I know. I met a nurse the other day. She's a nurse.
She's gone through school and nursing school and all the things that you have to do to be a nurse.
She started listening in elementary school. Now she's a nurse. Oh.
That's a lot. It's a lot of years. That kid goes listening to now poking people with needles.
Right. And I was like, oh my gosh.
Man. All right. Over, let's do TV show reviews. Did you finish Chernobyl?
Yes. And your thoughts? Watch it. My thoughts are, it's good. It's right on. It's very interesting. Even at the end, it gives you, which I wasn't expecting this, but it gives you an update on all the people, the real life. Because, I mean, it's...
It's a nuclear disaster that happened in the 80s. Real life, real life story. We were... For me, it's crazy that we were alive when this happened. But very interesting. You'll stay engaged the whole time.
and then the last episode at the end when they give you an update on where everybody is, it's crazy.
And then it's crazy that the lives that were lost, but yet that the Russian government doesn't even acknowledge, it's bizarre.
Mike D, who writes a lot of the games on the show, you watch Stranger Think Season 3?
Yeah.
What did you think about it?
I thought it was really good.
I didn't like Season 2 that much, but this one was way better than that.
Why?
More action.
It gets like right to it, and there's not a whole lot of, like, lull in the beginning.
Any slow episodes?
No.
It pretty much kicks off right at the start of it, yeah.
Anyone else watch Stranger Things the last season?
I'm start...
I mean, I started it.
I'm gonna finish it.
I love comedians and cars getting coffee,
and I have like one or two episodes left.
I thought they're only six episodes.
They're far more than that.
But that's one of my favorite shows.
It's only like 15-minute episodes.
But I love that.
You know, I was watching last night?
I was watching the office.
I watched the office every day.
At least five episodes a day.
Because I'm in bed working while the office is on
and I fall asleep to the office every night.
and I was watching
Hey, Ramon, if you could pull up Chris Brown forever,
that song, that'd be awesome.
I was watching the episode of Jim and Pam's wedding.
I started crying.
Like, I got tears.
And I've seen it 100 times.
Yeah.
There's a part where she rips her veil
and she's pregnant.
And she's like, I just don't feel good.
I don't look good.
I rip my veil.
And he takes his tie and he goes, you know what?
It's good.
And he cuts his tie halfway off.
He goes, look, look.
It's like, now we're both.
Look at us.
We're the same.
And I'm like, oh, good, you want to meet you?
Yeah.
So then they're about to get married and they decide to run away and get married on the boat instead of right there in the church.
They come back to the church like two hours later.
But and then they're like, okay, we have this planned.
And they do that YouTube thing where they go down the aisle and they're all dancing.
Oh yeah.
It's into Chris Brown forever.
It's like, one, two, three, four.
And I'm just like a mess.
I guess I've seen it 15 times.
One two, three, four.
And they're all like dancing down.
It's good.
Now, wait, did they do that episode because there was a couple that went,
viral or I didn't say that in the video.
Okay, I didn't know if it was the other way around.
They're like, we saw this on YouTube.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Because Jim and Pam didn't want to have it done, but Michael Scott like planned it.
Yeah, that's right. Okay.
And Jim was like, I knew as soon as I saw this on YouTube, this was going to be it.
So, yeah, I was like all weepy watching the show last night.
So there's my review.
Weep, tears.
I give it five tears that episode.
For some reason, that show never gets old to me.
I just start it over.
Finish it, start it over.
Finish it, start it over.
Yeah, I think it's one of those that'll stick around just like friends.
I mean, it already is sticking around.
But Seinfeld friends in the office are pretty consistently.
Did you see Jerry Seinfeld listed his top five shows of all time?
No.
His episodes.
It's awesome.
One was the bet where they have a bet to where they decide not to do something the longest.
Do you I'm talking about?
Yeah, I do.
It's going to be the adult one.
I don't remember that one.
They all go, okay, who can not do it the longest?
It's called the contest, actually.
And so, season four of the contest, we all agree.
Let's not do the adult thing to ourselves.
And if you lose, by the honor system, you just pay the money and go out.
That was one of them.
The marine biologist.
Love it.
He's the whale.
The whale gets the golf ball stuck in them.
It's all because Kramer, it wraps around Kramer, was hitting golf balls.
Well, George lies to a girl that he's dating and says he's a marine biologist, and they're walking on the beach.
Oh, gosh.
And there's a beached whale, and somebody goes, is there a marine biologist anywhere?
And then it turns out the whale has Kramer's golf ball in it at the very end.
Yeah, that's funny.
Yada yada.
Yada yada.
You can't finish the sentence with yada yada yada.
The pothole.
Do you remember the pothole?
What's the pothole?
It's when he's driving and the golf clubs fly out, I believe.
Kramer's driving?
He's driving the caddy down to his parents and hits a pothole.
And then they try to sell it to the old people and the old people get mad
because they think they're selling them a shoddy car.
like, oh, what you're trying to rip us off.
I think that's right.
And then the boyfriend.
That's a generic one, but I don't know what the boyfriend is.
But those are the five episodes that Jerry Seinfeld said were his favorite five episodes of all time.
So my favorite office episode is when he burns his foot on the former girl.
And he's in the, because what Michael Scott does, he wakes up every morning.
He loves the smell of bacon.
So he wakes up and his former girl's in the bed with him.
And so he puts the bacon on it and goes back to sleep.
And then he burns his foot on it.
that one and then I love Scott's tots too
where he goes in and like
when they're in like kindergarten of first grade
and is like all right you guys graduate high school
I'm paying for all your college educations
and then he kind of forgets about it
and the local paper's like this guy guaranteed
and they're graduating this year
and he has to go back and tell him he can't pay for it
so he gives them all computer batteries
he goes
not even computers
computer batteries
anyway
that character's great
glad that you're here
you have favorite friends episode Amy
I mean there's
There's just so many. I love, I mean, Ross playing the piano. It's funny. That one's sticking to me right now because my kids love that one. And my daughter, so Eddie gave us a keyboard that does that. And my daughter does that now in her room. She'll be like, listen to the song I'm playing, Mom.
It's like all this. And she, yeah, so that one's fun for us right now.
That's a fun one. It's funny you're watching that with your daughter now.

When he hits that one kind of thing that he does,
it's like, no doubt that's Blake Shelton.
My favorite thing is his laugh he does during the guitar solo of this song.
That's the kind of guy this guy is.
He just real sweet, and just wants to have him.
have fun to play music.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
At this boy in Idaho got an awesome gift when his high school football team surprised him at his
birthday party after only one person had RSVPDD.S.
Christian, who turned nine years old, had invited all of his classmates to his party at his
home in Meridian.
But days after nobody said they were coming, his mom became worried.
She even wondered if he passed the invites out
She learned that he did and only one girl said that she would go
Now he has autism
He was planning this party and again only one person was coming
But as he's waiting for everybody to come and nobody was coming
The football team from the high school snuck in through the front door
And then he was like I don't know if anybody's coming mom
And then all of a sudden they all came out like clapping their hands like you do
And it's like get it up like this
That's awesome
And so they said his jaw dropped
the team gifted him a football.
They had all signed it.
And they stayed for the party and hung out.
Love it.
Pretty cool, huh?
Yeah, that's a good one.
All right, there you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobby Bones Show.
Bonehead.
Norrie up the day.
This story comes with us from North Vernon, Indiana.
A woman went to meet with her parole officer, and he noticed, man, she didn't have teeth the last time we met.
She's got some teeth in her mouth, and they do not look like they fit.
They keep falling out.
said, can I see those dentures?
They were stolen dentures, had someone else's name on them, and she wore them to meet her parole
officer.
Dang.
Oh, wow.
I don't think I would have been like, let me see those teeth.
Yeah, but, I mean, and was he curious if they were stolen?
Well, he just said they were obviously, the last time I saw her, she didn't have teeth,
and then they weren't fitting in her mouth properly.
They kept falling out, so they obviously weren't hers.
So he was able to return them to their rightful owner?
Would you want them?
Keep them.
Keep them.
I almost draw my phone in the toilet the other day.
And it's that would you go in after it?
Now, a phone I would.
All the time.
Maybe not a porta potty.
No, for sure, not a porta potty.
No, it's gone.
It's dead.
Yeah, yeah.
But my toilet, yes.
You can go in the toilet, right, for your phone?
Yeah, I have.
Yeah.
Much box?
I've been in the toilet for it, no problem.
For much less?
He's like, I've been in the toilet for a nickel.
If I saw a dollar bill in there, I'd go in the toilet.
Really?
Yeah.
No, no, no.
I'm good.
Eddie?
Oh, yeah.
Morgan number two?
No doubt.
Mm-mm.
You wouldn't go on the toilet for your phone?
No.
I just leave it.
Are we paying you too much?
Are you crazy?
But a clean toilet, right?
Clean toilet.
No, it could be...
Oh, just even all...
Oh, I'm not touching that.
But I maybe come back and get somebody else to do it for me.
Okay.
I'm not doing that.
No, no, I don't...
I just get it over with.
I have a joke.
I almost don't want to share what the joke's about until we're finished with our tour.
But I was...
I'll tell you this story without the joke.
This really happened.
I was on an airplane and I had a bunch of gum in my mouth.
And I was going to, I opened up the, I went in the back and got that vomit bag and opened it and was going to spit the gum in the bag.
So I took my hand and opened the vomit bag, but there was vomit still in the bag.
Disgusting.
And my hand goes, it was awful.
And my hand's like, ugh.
And I just felt, it was the worst.
It was the grossest thing.
Yeah, it's tough.
Are we still in the middle of the bonehead?
Yeah.
All right, lunchbox, wrap us up.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
We're transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
Nah, here are you.
It's time for another round of Amy versus Lunchbox.
It is tied six to six.
We play to 10.
Amy, you'll get three dude questions.
If we type in, what are trivia questions for dudes?
These are the questions we get.
Got it.
That's how it works.
Here we go.
Amy, you're up first.
The NFL preseason kicks off on Thursday.
Who won the Super Bowl back in February?
Who's the reigning Super Bowl champion?
I don't even remember who played.
So, fine, the Patriots.
Thank you, Tom Brady.
Go Patriots.
Question number two.
What kind of wrench is used to change a tire?
Ooh, could that be a monkey wrench or an Allen wrench or a,
This is the only two wrenches, I know.
What kind of wrench is used to change a tire?
Alan wrench.
I'm going to go with Alan.
Ah, is it monkey?
Neither one of those.
Oh, sorry, I just gave lunchbox advantage.
What is it?
Go ahead, lunchbox.
What kind of wretch is used to change a tire?
A monkey wrench.
Oh, no.
What is it?
What is it?
It's not either.
It's a lug wrench.
Lug nuts.
Yeah, that's exactly it.
Nuts in the Luggeridge.
I mean, now I know.
It's not monkey.
Amy.
Never changed to tire, yes.
Ready.
Ready.
Your third question.
What animal is on the Porsche logo?
Think about it.
How many Porsches do you have?
Oh, let me see.
My lost count.
Golly.
For those at home, Amy has zero Porsches.
That is my husband's dream car.
Some Porsche that, I don't know, James Bond had.
And like, like, what animal is on the Porsche logo?
I feel like Ferrari is the horse.
The Porsche.
What animal?
It's also, it can be a horse too?
Like a Porsche.
What is a fast animal?
Like a cheetah?
That's not on a Porsche.
A penguin.
Five seconds?
Not on a no.
A penguin.
I'll be fine.
A horse.
Show me horse.
Woo!
Wow.
You took a while to get there, but you got there.
Well, I know, because I thought Ferrari, there's no.
way that two cars... Is a Ferrari a horse, though?
I don't know the... I don't know what I don't know that's right.
Mike D, can you show me a Ferrari logo up on this, up on a screen?
Her Ferrari is like a wild horse.
We're going to go over and out of Lunchbox.
Here we go. Lunchbox gets three questions for the lady.
Wow, wow, wow, I got two.
Ferrari is a horse too. It's a stallion.
See?
Wow.
Yeah. Told you.
All right. How about lunchbox music?
Ramundo.
Wow.
Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.
Lunchbox.
Yep.
What kind of hairstyle is a fish tail?
What?
What kind of hairstyle is a fish tail?
Amy's dancing already, she knows.
I mean a ponytail.
A ponytail.
That is?
Oh, Amy gave him the ex.
It's a braid.
It's a braid.
That's correct.
Lunchbox, the actress, who is married to her husband, Adam Schulman, announced last week she's pregnant with her second child.
Name that actress.
The only one I can guess of that I don't know their husband.
Amy Schumer, maybe?
Keep the question.
Sure.
The actress who is married to her husband, Adam Shulman, announced last week she's pregnant with her second child.
Name that actress.
I don't know.
Anne Hathaway.
And Lunchbox, your final question.
Shoot.
What does PMS stand for?
It's a menstrual cycle.
Pre-menstrual cycle.
PMS.
S.
I just spit everywhere.
PMS.
Amy, what does PMS stand for?
Free menstrual syndrome.
And our winner,
taking the lead,
seven to six is Amy.
Yeah, okay.
It feels good
because I had been on a losing streak
for sure.
How do you feel?
Anything you want to say
in your victory?
I feel great,
really thankful
for all the PMS I've had in my life,
and then I know how to spell.
Syndrome.
Cycle.
I saw this and I waited tables for years and I was like, wow, I cannot believe this person did this.
You may think it's good or bad, but let me read you the story, okay?
Okay.
A waiter says he overheard a customer saying she was 14 weeks along.
Pregnant.
So he secretly served her virgin drinks instead of the alcoholic when she ordered.
Oh.
She figured it out and the manager suspended him.
An interesting scenario.
So that's the deal.
He hears her talking.
She says she's pregnant.
He never confirmed it with her, but that's not the point.
Right?
The point isn't that.
So they all ordered alcoholic drinks, except for hers he made virgin.
What do you think about that?
Man, I guess he was thinking of the baby.
So it's not like he went the opposite.
Like it would be worse if someone was like trying not to drink and he added alcohol.
So that would be worse.
This is more him
taking
control of the situation
for the baby
I can't speak
I think he should have confirmed
like hey are you pregnant
Is he in the wrong?
I don't know
I mean no
I mean I guess
I go yes he's absolutely in the wrong
It's not his job to police somebody else's life
This is not his job
But the baby can't speak for itself
It's not his job
To police somebody else
So you're telling me if you heard
You're serving and she was pregnant
I'm giving it to her and you're giving it to her
It's not my job to question her on how she's living her life
But with alcohol
With something that can be harmful to a baby
And again
Maybe you can go to 32 opinions
And some could say this is okay
Well I don't know how much she was drinking
Yeah it is like one
Again none of this matters
We as an adult
We have got to be responsible for our own actions
It's not the waiter's job to dictate
Whether he thinks
that she can or can't have alcohol
Well then if he can't handle that
And he should be like, I can't serve this table
Like you're going to have to get another waiter
Okay
And that's fine
Maybe
I would be better with that
Yeah
But he's not the judge and jury
On if she gets alcohol
She's her body
She's the person ordering the drinks
She's the adult
Not on a waiter
It's like a bar sometimes
They'll charge the bar
If someone drinks too much
And goes out and crashes
They'll charge the bar
That's the bar
It's the bartender's job
not to over serve somebody.
As adults, we've got to be responsible for own actions.
Yeah, I get it.
I'm not saying it's his fault.
Like, if something ends up being wrong with that baby
because she chose to drink alcohol.
Like, it's not his fault if he gave it to her.
It's her fault.
Don't give me wrong.
But he's trying to, like, he doesn't want to be a part of it.
Okay, then he didn't check out, though.
He just completely, if he just said,
hey, I don't think I can serve this table
because you might be pregnant.
I'd get that.
I go, okay, respect that.
But he didn't.
He just switched it up on her.
Yeah.
One time I was at a bar and a girl, yeah, the bartender was in a predicament because someone at the bar was pregnant and ordering like a shot.
Okay, and she could have not served them, period, but she can't serve them some grenadine and go, here's your fireball.
You can not serve them.
I'm okay with that.
But it's not his job to de-dictating what she doesn't get.
Okay.
So we disagree on this.
I'm team baby.
Oh, don't do that.
Don't do it.
You know what? I'm team human rights and responsibility.
I'm team adult responsibility.
Okay.
Like if we don't team baby, that would have I supposed to compete against team baby.
I think Amy wins on that one.
Team baby.
I think I want to give up too just because she came up with a better name.
Was he in the wrong?
I say yes.
No.
Lunchbox?
Absolutely in the wrong.
He's not the moral police.
Eddie?
No, no, no.
I think you can definitely lose your job over this one.
I think he should get fired too.
But be okay with it, Amy, because he's doing the right thing.
Oh, wow.
Yes, this is the one you go down for you.
Be like, all right, fire me.
I was doing the right thing.
If you want to go down for it, you just go, hey, I don't want to serve her.
And then be like, I will not be part of you harming your baby.
Okay, that's fine.
That's fine.
Yeah.
Well, you're right.
You say something about the grenading thing.
Don't serve her the wrong drink, but I would just be like, nah, I'm not to get that for you.
That's not the question.
I know.
Quit switching it up.
I know.
No, I'm with Amy.
Team baby.
You've switched up?
Team baby, dude.
You just gave a war.
No, no, no, no.
I've always been team baby and fire me for it.
I'm cool with it.
You know what?
I'm team baby too, but I just have a different opinion.
Oh, okay.
Stop trying to be on our team.
If you don't really, if you're not for the baby, then you can't be on the team.
Morgan number two?
I'm with you, Bobby.
I don't think he should have made that decision for her.
She's an adult.
That's her decision.
Man, that baby's like, I do not want this alcohol.
I have no choice.
Maybe, again, you can find some doctor to say some alcohol is fine.
We also don't know what the alcohol is.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
Was she going straight tequila?
And maybe she was kidding about being pregnant.
He just overheard it.
Hey guys, I'm 14 weeks pregnant.
And right when he walked away, she goes, just kidding.
Just kidding.
All right.
You can go to our Facebook page and comment on this.
The Babba Ball Show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Okay, so we're going to go over this list ranking burger toppings to see if we agree with what people say are the best burger toppings.
Cheese is number one.
How did you know that?
First round pick what beat?
Cheese.
What kind of cheese?
American cheats, because I love the USA, baby.
Yeah.
Man, have you ever had goat cheese or blue cheese on a burger?
Sure.
Okay, but you're still going.
Red-blooded American, right.
But cheese is number one, but I will say you could probably just say any kind of cheese if you want to.
Cheese is number one.
All right, let me see what else I would pick.
I go cheese one.
Let's see if you can get the top five.
Well.
Just as not even me.
In no particular order.
A goat classic bone.
Well, I got a thought tomato on there.
That's right.
Show me.
Tomato!
Yep.
Not in top five.
What?
All right, all right.
It's only one strike.
I hate onions.
Like, I, this is what an onion makes me do.
However, show me onion.
Number two answer.
Really?
Oh, yeah, this is like the end of the feud.
Yeah, I would go, it has to be lettuce
because every picture of everything.
There's no value in lettuce.
It's just water.
It's a water plant.
But I'm going to go, lettuce for the aesthetic.
Not top five.
Oh, no.
Oh, not.
I mean, it's on the list, but it's not top five.
Okay.
I mean, y'all are missing, like, the obvious of other things you put on a burger.
I mean, y'all...
But bacon?
Show me bacon!
Number five!
Yeah.
Yeah, but, I mean, now think about...
What else is on there?
I mean, not the...
What numbers have I got right?
You got two more.
So you have cheese, onions, bacon.
I just not...
Onions and bacon don't make my top five.
But...
Do condiments count?
Yeah.
Oh, for sure, mustard.
Show me mustard.
Boom.
Number three answer is all condiments, like ketchup, mustard, mayo, all condiments.
Yeah, boom.
Number three answer.
I'm looking for one answer.
One more.
Let me think of my burger.
I got my bun.
Bund doesn't count, right?
It's not topping.
No, it's part of the burger.
I know how stupid I even has that.
I'll tell you, like, this.
Such an idiot.
This I would never have on my burger, and if it was on there, I'd take it off.
Yours.
Mm-hmm.
This thing.
Yeah.
Boom.
Like, bleh.
I cannot have them because they made me sick once.
When I was in the PEP Squad in the sixth grade, I ate one and then threw it up.
Come on, how many times have I told this story on air?
Well, I have a similar story.
Mine was pudding.
Well, not pudding, but close.
Hold on. Let me think about this. What did you have?
I'm going to go with...
Come on. I still, to this day, can't eat them.
I don't... I'm not trying to think of you. Let me just think of what the burger is.
Oh, I'm trying to... You'll remember the story once...
Come on, you're trying to do this.
Okay.
That's my whiny voice.
Come on.
I don't like my kids.
Let me just watch another episode at the office.
One more.
Five more minutes.
Um,
a peanut butter.
What?
What?
On a hamburger?
I don't know, Amy.
I feel so judged today.
Amy tells me any Botox in my head.
That is not true.
What, what, go ahead.
Pickles.
Oh, of course.
You don't eat pickles?
No.
No, let me tell you what happened Amy once.
One time, she had him, and she was a pet.
Squat, she ate them and she couldn't eat them anymore.
I just heard.
Yeah, and I haven't had a pickles in.
All right, what else you got there?
Okay, so it's not Fun Fact Friday, I know, but I do have a fun fact.
And I guess I didn't really know this was universal.
I mean, I knew it was true for me, but I didn't know it would be true for you.
Well, let's do a moderately fun fact Monday.
All right, what do you have?
Well, did you know it's impossible to tickle yourself?
Yes.
You did?
I try every night.
I'm just a lonely guy.
You know, I do.
Yeah, there's just a fun fact.
about our body and like neuroscientists have like done all the tests. I mean it has to do with like
different sensations and our brain and like yeah it's just like not possible. Well I definitely
met myself laugh in different ways. No, you do? Yes, I do. Okay, good job. So there you go. You can't
tickle yourself moderately fun fact Monday. And then. Yeah, because it wasn't that fun, but it was
moderately fun. Moderately? I mean, maybe it's like you need a conversation starter at work later today.
Somebody listening. They can be like so.
to lick your elbow thing. It's like, I'll give you a dog if you can tickle yourself.
I give a dog if you can lick your elbow.
All right, what else you got? So a bride to be
tweeted that she would only have bridesmaids
under a size 12
because they wanted them to all like compliment her
or be smaller.
They had to be size 12 or smaller.
You know, here's the thing about that.
One, I never really believe these stories.
No. No. She tweeted it.
I don't think, yeah. If it's on Twitter.
I wasn't a Russian bot.
No, it's real.
I mean, there's a whole article.
I would say that if it were me,
I would want everyone to look their worst.
Makes me look better.
Yeah.
She said she wants her brides
to compliment her, not contrast her.
Stop it.
So, I mean, it's just a whole thing.
But it's just like, I don't know.
If that's true, she's a real winner.
If I was ever asked to be in somebody's wedding,
anybody here have any crazy requirements
for their bridal party when they got married?
Mm-mm.
Show up on time.
Amy, you had dudes in your...
I did.
I had bridesmen.
and all of my husband's groomsmen made fun of them.
Yeah, because they were like the girly men.
They were like, where's your dress?
Yeah, that's funny.
I know.
It was awkward.
For those asking why I wasn't in the wedding,
Amy and I just started to know each other then.
Right.
You introduced us, though.
You were the person that introduced us as...
Oh, she always goes back to this.
I got like a junior junior varsity job at the wedding.
Okay, but that's cool.
Oh, you introduced them at the wedding.
You know, when you walk into the reception,
and you're announced as Mr. and Mrs.
Brown for the first time. Bobby did that?
He got to do it. Oh, that's cool, though. See?
Better than the usher. He thought it was so lame.
I know listeners can't see me roll my eyes right now, but I'm going to make a sound
effect as my eyes roll. That's my eyes rolling.
Okay. Well, just know if I was getting married right now, you would be a bridesman.
I don't know if that's a compliment or not. Yeah, it's a compliment. Thank you very much.
Would I be the bridesman of honor?
Yeah. Thank you.
Sure. Okay. I'm in you. That's my problem.
Thank you.

It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this 13-year-old Jada, she's in this track and field race with her relay team,
and she's coming around the finish line, and they are winning the relay.
So obviously, super excited.
When she crosses the finish line, it's so awesome.
We guess what else is the finish line besides first place.
It's got to be something awesome.
Uh-huh, it is.
Is it one of those videos that I watch it makes me cry?
Yes.
Is it her dad?
It's her mom.
Oh, it's her mom.
Yeah, and her mom was deployed for six months, and her mom hadn't even been able to see one of her races this entire year.
So, or season or whatever you want to call it.
And so her mom reached out to the school counselor and set up the whole surprise.
And she was waiting at the finish line.
Boy, if she didn't win then, I'd be like, shum.
Yeah.
Speed it.
Do they win, you know?
Yeah, she won.
Her relay team won.
And her mom is the finish line.
That's crazy.
That's awesome.
That's good news. That's what it's all about.
Folks, it's your buddy and my...
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones.

Amy, what's up?

Pennsylvania.
Like, you're right.
Shout out to all of.
our Pittsburgh listeners too.
There you go.
That's the morning corny.
That was the morning corny.
The Bobby Bon Show.
Hey, by the way, you can text us.
I'm reading some of the text messages here.
For some reason, Bobby and Amy,
having never known that you could group FaceTime,
has me dying laughing.
It's tough getting old.
That's what they said about us.
Yeah.
I posted on my answer story.
I didn't know you could FaceTime
an entire group chat.
No clue.
And all the faces just start popping up on your phone like little bubbles, and it's amazing.
Yeah, so did you know that?
I didn't know.
Eddie, did you know that?
I had no clue.
No clue.
Apparently time marches on.
Yeah.
We're getting harassed by people on text message.
You can text the word, uh, Bobby.
How you do this again?
Oh yeah, I haven't talked about this in so long because we've been getting our new studio.
Morgan number two, instruct me on this.
They can just text whatever to the, to Bobby, which is 26, 229.
Thank you.
And am I supposed to say something like standard data rates of place?
rates apply, yeah.
There you go.
Text me.
We now have this screen for me to look at.
I haven't done in a few weeks.
Okay, Morgan number two has the personal skinny.
Is that right?
I do have that.
Here we go.
Ramundu, hit that, please.
Bobby Bonesh.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 32nd Skinny.
Bobby and the Raging Idiots, Eddie and American Idol contestant Walker Burroughs played the
Grand Alopry Friday night and the internet has given them some very rave reviews,
saying it might have been Bobby's funniest appearance.
appearance yet.
Also, one of my eyes saw him at brunch with a mystery female in downtown Nashville.
Wait, one of your eyes.
What is this, Game of Thrones?
Tell us more.
There's nothing else to say.
What day?
What day?
Saturday or Sunday.
Yesterday.
Sunday.
Wow.
Busy day.
No, yesterday was a pretty busy day.
I had brunch, then I played racquetball all day, and then I went to Amy's barbecue.
You're so social.
I was very social yesterday.
Yes.
But let's not call Walker Burroughs American Idol contestant.
He's off.
He finished top 10.
Now he's just part of the group.
Let's not ditch this whole date thing that you had.
And you know what?
Me, Eddie and Walker are going to be in Chicago on Friday night.
That's the important stuff.
Raising Idiots.com.
We all get one question about your date.
No.
I'm not ready for that.
Was it a date or just a meeting?
It wasn't a meeting.
So it wasn't work.
No, it wasn't work.
Interesting.
What do you say?
your eyes saw this?
Yeah.
Your eyes.
Do people are people reporting to you now?
What's happening with me?
Oh, like on Handmaid's Tale.
Don't they have eyes?
Yeah.
Okay.
What, anything else about them?
No.
Well, I have some of everybody else.
Okay, go ahead.
Go ahead.
Amy had a barbecue at her house,
and they had some karaoke.
Bobby was there, and Stevenson was dancing.
By the way, she didn't have karaoke.
Her son had one of those microphones,
and he was trying to get anyone to sing to start it,
and I was like, fine, I'll sing and start it.
And we started the whole.
the whole singing club.
It did start. Everybody got up and sang like at least a verse and a chorus of something.
Whatever came to their heart.
Yes.
I mean, but there was no music to go with it.
It was a cappella.
Yeah, I kind of had to rock out some.
What's that acopella group called?
Oh, synodics.
Or what are they called?
Oh, Plytonics.
I had to do some solo pentatronics.
Yeah.
Anything else, Morgan, number two.
Lunchbox spent the day at the flea market and he found some super special treasures.
Ooh.
Worth anything?
Super special.
They were some weird stuff.
They had a Homer Simpson life-sized doll and they had a
a gyno table that you could buy.
Oh, interesting.
Didn't Eddie have a gyno chair for a while?
I did.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Tim McGraw gave me a gyno chair.
Yeah.
It's weird to say.
What else?
Anything else Morgan number two?
Yeah, and then Eddie took his son
to the grandelopry for the first time
with the raging idiot's performance on Friday night,
and he said his favorite thing were the free goo goo clusters
and lemonade that were backstage.
But what did your son say, though, Eddie?
That's what he said.
Oh, I thought that was you saying that.
Not me.
Your son have fun?
Yeah, that was.
his highlight though. I mean, he's
kind of like, doesn't really share a lot.
So he did say, he's like,
that was really cool. Google Clusters were
awesome for free. Lemonade was really good.
And then the next morning, he's singing,
hobby, lovey, bobby. And I'm like,
all right, he really liked it then. That's cool.
All right, Morgan number two. Is that it?
Yep, I'm Morgan number two. That's your show, skinny.
Okay, thank you.
I do want to talk about this, where they
talked to a lot of delivery drivers, and about a third of them
said, yeah, they've eaten the customer's food.
Oh. Which is a significant number.
According to a new survey, about one third of delivery drivers admit they have eaten the food.
I just assume if there's food open, if it's a fry or it's a nugget, that it's probably being eaten by somebody.
I got some food this weekend, like Saturday night.
I ordered some, like, Chinese food, and I left it kind of halfway out.
There are gnats in my house, and around the kitchen sink.
I mean, it looked like those crickets or grasshopper or whatever's in Vegas.
Yeah.
That's what it looked like in my house over the sink.
And so what you can do is what my grandma used to do was that we would take like apple cider vinegar or you can really take any fruit thing that draws the gnats to it.
And you can poison them by putting like we used to put Dawn dishwashing liquid.
I have some kind of dishwashing liquid.
You put in it as well.
It's on the top.
And they're drawn to the apple cider vinegar.
And then they, but they drink the dawn and they all start dying.
Yeah.
You ever do that?
The soap gets on.
No, but I mean, I need to set up little traps like that.
I got some fly traps that you plug into your wall at the house.
Like, I have these lights now, and they're plugged into the wall.
Because we have flies everywhere, like just flies and gnats.
So I don't know.
I feel like I'm going to check the tray that's plugged in the wall.
You pull out this tray, and there's probably going to be a bunch of dead bugs in there.
Sorry.
Do you like that?
No, I mean, it feels gross that I had to plug in, like, things into my wall to catch flies.
It's like right there in my kitchen.
Do you feel gross?
Yeah.
But I mean, it's not my fault.
It is my fault, though.
And then we have ants are really bad right now, I guess, because it's so hot outside.
The ants are coming in?
That's what the exterminator told me.
He's like.
The ants are looking for some AC or what?
That's what he said.
But I mean, yeah, I just feel like it's, I think it's the weather.
So here's how this works, much like the NFL or much like fantasy football.
We'll do a draft.
And today we're drafting celebrities.
couples. Now I have the first overall pick today. The pick rotates. And it goes down the line.
And the person that picks last then starts the next round. So they get two picks in a row.
That being said, we are drafting celebrity couples. I do not have a chart. I didn't write anything
down. I'm going all from my head. Now, everybody has different draft strategies because Amy has
everything written down. I kind of wish I was in your place right now because I didn't prepare
as far as writing it down. My first overall pick. The first pick of the celebrity draft is
Mary and Joseph.
Oh, man.
I didn't even think about that one.
That's a, yeah.
Eddie, excuse me?
Wow, wow, wow.
That's a good one I didn't think about it.
That's right, the Virgin Mary and Joseph.
Wow.
Favorite celebrity couple of all time.
Golly, that's so strong.
First pick.
I don't even know.
Oh, my gosh.
Thank you.
Wow.
Amy, with the second overall pick.
That's so good.
Yeah.
Wow.
So, I'm going to go to a couple.
Everybody shook.
I told you I was bringing it today.
I am Chuck.
Yeah.
So I'm going to go with a couple that's, you know, sort of close to that.
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
That's a good celebrity couple.
A good celebrity couple.
They come in a close second.
Especially when they're both wearing all denim.
Yes.
The old Canadian tuxedo couple.
Yes.
That's right.
Lunchbox, you have the next pick in the celebrity couple draft.
Wow, I'm thrown off because I thought Bobby was going this with his first pick.
And I'm going to say America loves this couple.
Pam Beasley and Jim Halpert.
Oh, wow.
Jim is Pam.
Yeah.
Can't beat Mary and Joseph.
stuff though. I did, I did think about Jim and Pam, which can't beat the Virgin Mary.
You had to go with them first. But, ooh, Jim and Pam, that's, I didn't think about, like,
actual, like, couples on TV, like, that are faking it. There are no rules. I know.
But, again, I had to go with Jesus' mom. That's pretty good. That's pretty big. Eddie.
Oh, boy, I went none of those routes. I went Garth and Trisha.
All right. Salop pick. Nice. Solid pick. Solid pick. Gosh. Over to the final pick of the first round,
Morgan number two. Who, by the way, has got two wins under her belt.
Wow. All right, go ahead.
I'm going with Faith Hill and Tim McGrath.
Solid pick.
Solid pick. Good, good.
Nobody claps, but me.
Eddie. I was clapping.
I was writing down.
All right, Morgan number two, you have the first pick of the second round.
Go ahead.
I really love to follow her on Twitter.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
No.
Have them.
Maybe he's marking someone off her board.
All right, Eddie.
All right, I'm going Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
Classic.
Let me go and cross the one miles.
Is that off too?
Is that off too?
Yes.
Yes.
This is how my...
Lutchbox?
This is a power couple.
America loves them.
Jay Z. and Beyonce.
Boom.
Yeah.
Okay.
Go ahead and mark them off your list.
I am.
Bone sounds very disappointed in all our picks.
Right.
Those are going to win you the competition.
No.
Amy?
Okay.
Don't take mine because I got a good one.
I got two good ones.
Wait.
Stop.
Don't interrupt me.
Sorry.
Megan Markle and Prince Harry.
Pretty solid.
Boom.
Whatever.
I'm being hanging out at the
Royal Palace.
You don't get to hang with them.
That's a good pick.
No, this is, no, all my draft, we all go to dinner together.
Oh, okay.
We hang out.
I didn't know that.
I didn't know the rules as an owner.
Yeah, there is no rules.
True.
I will go with Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman.
Oh, dang it.
It's good.
Scratch them all.
And that's into the second round.
Now, we're here in the third round.
I have the first pick.
Collie, I don't even know.
And I'm going to go with two people that only go by one name.
Oh, no.
Adam and E.
Dang, that's my word, baby.
Third.
I mean, that's O.Gs right there.
That's my third.
Boom.
Amy.
Mine is so, I mean, I don't know.
Celebrity couple draft.
We're in a third round.
Amy, your final pick of the draft.
Which celebrity couple?
I thought I had good ones, but now you just trumped them all.
It doesn't even matter what I say.
It just really doesn't.
So, just like I kind of, I loved when Justin and Brittany were together,
I really loved when Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were together.
All right, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.
Lunchbox?
I don't know if I can win this, but I can sure lose it, right?
I don't know if I should go the heartstrings route or what does America love route.
And I'm going to go, I'm going to go with the best dancing couple America has ever seen.
Bobby Bones and Sharner.
That's it.
That's a funny pick.
Absolutely.
Champions of the world, that is a solid pick.
Strategic pick right there.
My team is.
Eddie?
What I got?
Bradgelina.
I got no, I'm giving up.
My team, let's just.
Brandgelina, Brad Pitt and Angela.
Bradgelina's all I got.
Right.
Morgan number two.
I'm going with an iconic couple.
Monica and Chandler from Friends.
Solid, solid, solid.
Oh, wow.
Are they more beloved than Ross
and Rachel. I'm not a friend's person, so I didn't know who to pick between those.
I think Ross and Rachel. But that's just her, it doesn't matter. The whole show revolved around
Ross and Rachel getting together. Right. That's where I would put that. The entire friends
from the first episode till it ended was about Ross and Rachel. Some would say that the whole
show was about that, basically. Yeah, probably, but close. You could argue that. Yeah, they're both
great. Okay. Well, there we have it, folks. My picks were Mary and Joseph from the Bible.
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman
and Adam and Eve
From the Bible
I got such a good team
Pretty good
Amy's Pixar
Brittany and Justin Timberlake
Megan Markle and Prince Harry
and Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt
How do you feel about that team?
I mean I can't wait to hang out with my team
But that's about it
Lunchboxes Pixar
Jim and Pam from the office
Jay Z and Beyonce
and Bobby and Sharna.
Man, he might win.
Eddie?
I think the Jay Zia and Beyonce
will keep him from winning.
Okay.
People love Beyonce.
Eddie, our Facebook people don't.
You'll get no-book.
Eddie?
You just skip mine.
Eddie has Garth and Trisha.
That's good.
That's good.
Tom Hank.
You know, with Tom Hanks,
I might have went Tom Hanks
and Wilson instead of Rita Wilson.
Oh, that's funny.
Maybe I did.
Did I say Rita?
You did.
Dang it, okay.
Too late.
All right.
That would have been good, yeah.
But still a good pick.
People love Tom Hanks.
They do.
And Brad and Angela and Jolie.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
That was just like what's left on the board.
And then Morgan number two had Tim and Faith,
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, and Monica and Chandler.
I'm pretty confident in that.
Yeah, hers is good.
Okay, we'll see.
Nobody did Johnny and June, and that's what Jake Owen suggested.
Yeah, I know.
Sitting up there, and I was going,
why would you guys not pick them over some of these?
Like it was served on a platter.
Because I just wasn't around to them.
I mean, I wasn't around with Adam and Eve either, but still solid pick.
I mean, there's also people I had like just, just in case things got real rough.
Also mentions, go ahead.
John Mayer and Taylor Swift.
Oh, solid.
Or Taylor Swift and Jake Dillon Hall or Taylor Swift and.
A Jonah Swinton.
Wow, and feel in the blank.
Oh, our favorite newlyweds, Nick Lichay and Jessica Simpson, because that TV show is
Jam. Go ahead.
Oh, Yoko. Oh, no. And John Lennon.
Whatever. Actually, I don't think I knew.
That's a weird one. That's a weird one.
Well, it just came to my mind, but I put Yoko and oh no.
Oh, yeah. Everybody would do for them to get together.
Yes, yeah. Yoke.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Foreign. Nah. Foreign, man.
Foreign, man. Yeah. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Oh, okay.
Been together forever.
Yeah. You have a lot.
Sunny and Cher.
Oh, good one. And? Give me one more also ran.
Ooh, the last one I actually have written down
would be John and Jackie Kennedy.
Jackie O, I don't know.
I didn't know them.
And then I didn't want to go political
because I'm like, I don't.
Well, listen, I'd mention Donald and Melania
earlier on in the show.
I thought you were going to go with one of this.
Well, I was going, listen, I had about four instead of Adam and Eve
and I was like, how can I not just go with Adam and Eve?
Yeah.
Like, that's the very first celebrity couple ever.
Right. Right.
Like, we got the first in Adam and Eve,
the most important in Mary and Joseph.
And come on, you can tell me Keith Arborne and Nicole Kim,
aren't just the...
I know. I had them.
Yeah.
Michelle and Barack Obama would be a good one too,
but then again, it's political.
Like, trust me, people would eat
us apart if we put anybody political.
If you put either one of them, you're going to get...
That's what I mean. And I only... You got to kind of know the audience, too.
Right. And I didn't vote for them,
but I read Michelle's book,
and their love story is actually... It's pretty cool.
I dare you say something about someone you didn't vote for in a positive life.
They're like a cool couple.
And they're in their cool parents.
Like I was like, wow, they, I mean.
And Amy's a Republican, everyone.
So before you go crazy here.
Yeah, we don't have to put it in a box.
But yeah, it's just like, it's sad that we have to like censor our celebrity
draft couple.
You're not censoring.
You're just trying to win.
Yeah, but you won.
Well, no, no, no.
We got to let.
You got to turn it over.
Well, it's you or lunchbox.
And then Morgan number two.
Then me.
Then me.
Yeah, for sure.
Eddie, Eddie's like, I don't know, me and my wife.
I game up quick.

A lot of listeners are texting me about the celebrity couple draft, some that we did not vote for.
Ronald and Nancy Reagan, Noah and Ali from the notebook, Romeo and Juliet, which would have been a strong one.
That's a good one.
That's a good one.
A lot of options here.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse, which is Darren and Austin was saying that.
Hey, Darren, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show.
You think we should have said Mickey and Minnie?
Yeah.
driving in to work this morning
Happy morning guy
Yeah
Few little stats
They get about 50,000 visitors
on a daily basis
So over 20 million people
Just go through Florida
So I was like guys
Mickey and Minnie
Yeah
Missed that one
I don't
Listen we just
Did Mickey and Minnie ever pop up
Anybody's head?
No
No
No
I thought they were brother's sister
Oh
But you could have picked
Brother and sister
It doesn't have to just be married
It's just a couple of anything
Like Tom Hanks
And Wilson the volleyball
would not have been, they weren't doing it.
He loved him.
He did love him.
He loved Wilson.
Man, when that ball floats away.
Oh, gosh, how sad is that?
That's so, he's well sad.
Well, guys, you just gave away the ending.
That's not the ending.
Over 10 years, though, you can spoil anything you want.
I'm joking.
I don't know.
I'm joking, like, I don't care because I've given stuff away.
No, but people do that, though.
They yell at you on Facebook.
You're like, guys, I hate to ruin this, but gone with wind here's that.
No, I haven't seen gone with the wind yet.
Well, listen, it was out before you were born.
You had your whole life to see it.
True.
I watched this thing called the Great Hack on Netflix.
The Great Hack.
It's basically about how on Facebook, they've been able to take and sway elections all over the world.
And how this company was illegally doing stuff to target us.
It's wild.
And I watched it.
And they did a bunch of countries, small countries, and won the elections for people.
And then they came to the States.
And then they did Brexit.
That's crazy.
It doesn't exist anymore because what they were doing is illegal.
But it's almost two hours long.
And they have all.
We know that people have all our data.
But when you see how it's actually done, you're like, oh, yeah, nothing's private anymore.
Yeah.
And they find people that they know can be switched or changed or manipulated and just inundate them with propaganda.
Wow.
Crazy.
Wow, wow, wow.
And you look at it as compared to the election and you go, nothing is real.
So things that pop up on my phone, I shouldn't be that surprised because normally I'm like, wow, how did it?
didn't know this. This is so crazy. They talk about that. It really shouldn't be that. It's really,
if you know what they know, it's like, no, actually not that crazy. They know everything
from what's written in your messages that you're writing people to what you're liking. They have like
5,000 data points about you. They know exactly who you are. Wow. Yeah, pretty crazy. So I watched
that. The dog spent all weekend with him, like just trying to get him to stop chewing on stuff.
His teeth are breaking through and I can see it. Like I opened his mouth and look at it.
His teeth are breaking through the gum, so he's teething like crazy.
But man, he just chews on everything all the time.
So I'm trying to shake that.
Played racquetball yesterday.
I tried to go to Target and buy some stuff.
They didn't have anything.
But luckily, the Y has equipment.
They had good equipment, too.
So we rented the racquetballs and racket.
Oh, yeah.
Did that.
Amy had a big barbecue at her house last night, which was awesome.
Which, you had a lot of meat, I was surprised by it.
I thought it was going to be, like, all vegetable barbecue.
Yeah.
It was, like, all about the meat.
Well, that's what my husband mainly wanted to do, was, like, bust out the meat.
And really, it started as like some people in our neighborhood and us to meet this one guy that a friend wanted to introduce us to.
Who was a barbecue master person.
And like, so that we felt like we needed to like make a lot of meat to like impress him.
And you did.
Yeah.
And you impressed me too with all of your meat.
It was sort of for him.
Well, and for me.
Thank you very much.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was a good weekend, though.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Friday before the Mets game, an animal shelter brought down some puppies onto the field,
let the players hold him, and Jeff McNeil, who plays for the Mets, held one puppy, took some
pictures with it, loved it. Then he hit a home run in the third inning, and he was like,
obviously that puppy's my good luck charm, adopted the puppy.
Yeah, saw that. It's a good luck puppy. That's an awesome story. There it is. That's what's
all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me know.
Transmitting.
They had the Fortnite World Cup over the weekend.
Oh, wow.
So they fill up a stadium.
That's crazy.
And the kid who won is 16 years old.
He won $3 million.
Insane.
He's the Fortnite champion.
Wow.
A U.S. teenager has won a record-breaking $3 million to become the world champion of Fortnite.
It's the largest prize pool in the history of e-sports $30 million shared.
His name is Kyle.
By the way, USA.
USA.
Because there were a lot of kids who weren't from America.
Now, he won the solo event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, which also hosts the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament.
I've been, it's a big stadium.
That's crazy.
And it was packed.
A British teenager finished second.
Here's a clip of him winning the tournament.
There's no way anyone beats him.
There were big screens all over the place.
His name's Buga?
His handle.
Oh, I don't play Fortnite.
Well, everybody has a screen name.
Like, you have a name on, what do you want any, it's a messenger?
Well, you're back in the day?
Peloton.
Sure, Peloton. What's your Peloton name?
Amy Joy won.
Amy Joy won. Right, he's Booga.
So don't be hating on Booga.
No, I didn't know.
He likes something different than you do.
Wow, and it's 16 years old. He's got $3 million.
He won $3 million.
Yeah. Crazy.
That's insane.
The Fortnite Finals saw 100 players
battling on giant computer screens.
40 million players attempted to qualify
over 10 weeks. 40 million players.
And the finalists are brought into the arena
and they're all playing each other.
Yes.
And this kid at...
it going away.
Like he was just like goofing around at the end.
He was like, oh, I won.
He was smiling.
Yeah, it was funny.
This other kid, 15 years old,
they say he ignored his mom's pleas to stop spending hours on Fortnite
and is now going to buy her a house and a car.
He won $2.3 million.
What?
Playing Fortnite.
His mom threw away his games and snapped his headset as he played too much.
But now he's like, I'm going to buy.
I'm going to buy this for her.
So he's 15 years old and won $2.3 million.
The mom says, if I'm honest with you, I've been quite against him gaming.
I've been more pushing him to a schoolwork.
I've actually thrown an Xbox out, snapped a headset, we've had a nightmare.
Asked about what are somebody with the prize money?
She said, I think he's not really a materialistic person.
He will have a lifetime supply of Uber Eats, and I think that'll do him.
Oh, wow.
But all these kids are winning tons of money.
Not all of them, a few of them.
It's like professional athletes.
Right.
It seems like everybody's a professional athlete, but it's only because you're seeing him in the news.
But, yeah.
So they're just like, what, how are you?
Are you that amazing?
Like, I mean, I get that, like, professional athletes, they're born with some sort of, like,
born and trained.
Born and trained.
Yes.
But, I mean, some of them have, like, just, like, this insane.
Like, Michael Phelps.
I mean, I don't know.
Also, he, again, he genetically.
I know, but genetically, like, he has an advantage and obviously was a good swimmer and then
train the heck out of himself.
So, yes, I get that.
But, like, these gamers, like, what is it?
But, like, their brain works a certain way.
Their thumbs are fast.
Hand-eye coordination, all of that.
Okay.
Oh, that's crazy.
Yeah.
So, look at all those kids making a ton of money playing video games.
And everybody's probably calling them nerves and hating on them.
Okay.
Oh, yeah.
Look at them now.
They just get Uber Eats, don't even leave their house.
It's pretty cool.
That's funny that she said that that's what you want.
Because, yeah, they can't leave.
When you're gaming, you don't leave.
I wonder if he has a girlfriend.
One of these guys, maybe Ninja, that's his name, the real famous guy, he gets on and plays.
And when he gets off to go to sleep, he, like, loses a ton of money because if he keeps playing, he makes like millions of dollars.
It's just because you don't know it,
and I know you guys are like, oh, how nerdy.
No, I'm not, I'm insane.
I'm more intrigued.
You're all your faces. You're all just sitting there ready to pass.
I'm perplexed.
Like, it's just a new world to me.
Buga.
I didn't know it was a screen name.
I thought his name was Buga.
And that's even worse.
You're going to make fun of someone's real name?
I didn't make fun of it.
Yeah.
And then you hit him with it.
Does he have a girlfriend?
Yeah.
I guess.
I want to know.
He has 10 girlfriends now.
I want to know.
He has $3 million.
Tom Brady's with Gizel.
I want to know who Booga's dating.
Like, what is wrong with me wanting to know that?
Just because I ask questions, this isn't mean I'm making fun.
Nope.
Be honest.
No.
Not going to let.
No, I was confused by Buga.
Hater in the house.
But then I was like, okay, screen name.
Got it.
I'm sure it has a fun story behind it.
And then I want to know, like, if he leaves the house, if he has a girlfriend.
16.
Does he go to school?
I mean, you don't get that good at video games by just, like, playing an hour a day.
Has all the girlfriends he wants now.
He's famous.
Right.
$3 million.
Congratulations to all those kids.
I think I'm going to start trying to do today.
Yeah.
I'm trying to get in.
No chance.
So Eddie and I, we went to play the grand old opera on Friday night,
and we have a comedy duo called The Raging Idiots.
Go out and do some jokes, and then we play a little song or so,
and then we do more jokes, and we play a little song or so.
And you have nine minutes or so.
Everybody has the same amount of time.
It doesn't matter if you've been playing the opera your whole life,
or it's your first time on the opera.
Everybody has nine minutes.
at least on Friday night when we played.
And so we go out and I hop out and I do a couple jokes.
And they were pretty funny.
Sometimes you just wonder,
because that crowd's always in and out.
It's tourists, right?
Right.
And so I do a couple jokes and they're pretty funny.
And I'm like, all right, and here's our first song.
And then we go into our song Hobby Lobby Bobby.
Right, that was the first song?
Yes.
Yeah.
My name is Hobby Lobby Bobby Bobby.
And the crowd's laughing.
They like the song.
It's about me working at Hobby Lobby back in the day.
And so the song ends.
Yeah, I claps.
Tell a couple more jokes.
and we play Jesus knows.
And at the end of Jesus knows,
the crowd's usually into it because they're going,
yeah, because at the very end there's a dumb line
where everybody like cheers and laughs.
Yeah.
And I'm like, thank you very much.
Well, the people at the opera
thought that was me doing the final, thank you very much.
Like, thank you very much.
Yeah.
Good night.
And so they came on and they were like,
oh, there he is, Bob.
And it scared me because we weren't done.
So what did you do?
Well, no, no, I was like, oh, I guess we need to go.
But we never got to play old folks home.
Oh.
I know.
So it was kind of my fault because I shouldn't have been so declarative in my,
thank you very much!
But the crowd was, I felt like the crowd was feeling it.
Had you hit your nine minutes?
I don't know.
I just kind of go out there and go with my heart.
And on my paper, I'd kind of written down how long this joke would last, this song.
And we were going to play old folks home, which is the parody of Old Town Road.
And a little bit of us, Eddie and I talked after the show, we were like,
Maybe Jesus didn't want us to play old folks home at the opera.
Because there are a lot of older people there.
Oh.
But.
Could have been a sensitive subject.
I don't think so.
I still think it's hilarious whether you're young or old.
Yeah.
It's for everyone.
It's like Disney.
Right.
Like Disney World.
Young, old.
And my thing was like, sometimes things happen for a reason.
And we thought like maybe this is one of those reasons.
So, and then I introduced Walker Burroughs who I took for American Idol.
He's out on tour with us.
and but yeah then we kind of walked off said thank you it was a really good set but i never got to
play this song at the opera which was the goal and so we're gonna play in chicago on friday night
okay well unless unless jesus jesus stops that one again but people were like did you play
all folks home at the grand old opera we did not we played hobbi lobby bobby and jesus knows
but we never got to all folks home because i like a moron went thank you very much and then the host
came on and took it
Summer. I know. Some people were texting me like, we only came to watch old folks home.
No way. And I was like, you're lying. There's no way you only came to watch old folks home.
Well, I'm sure if they were going and they were excited to hear it and then they didn't get to see it.
Maybe. Well, here it is. Here it is from Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots.
Blocked by the people that have Old Town Road. Blocked by a little Nazex and team.
Yeah. Here is Old Folks Home and we plan this Friday night in Chicago, San Antonio, El Paso.
all that coming up.
Ragingididiot's.com to come to a show.
Here's a song.
Sometimes you've got to make tough decisions for Meemaw.
This is that song.
Shout out to Meemaw!
Yeah, I'm going to take me.
She can't know.
He's walking with the cane.
She broke her hip, but she's okay.
Yeah, you two o'clock you'll meet us,
but she's got diabetes.
Bingo in the evening.
Her nurse's name is Stephen.
And you can't hear.
Watch out.
Here comes, Me Ma.
Got a new inhaler for her if.
Zima riding down the freeway but her blinker is broken gonna make it do the mall the power walk before it opens
she's falling down she can't get back up she's got a little bit of insured in my to the old folks home
where she can't sew till she can't no more old folks home from the raging idiots so i was talking earlier on the show
about watching comedians and cars getting coffee i love that show it's on like 15 minutes it's jerry
Seinfeld with another actor and I was kind of finishing it up this weekend and he's talking with a woman who
does a kind of a show in New York and I didn't know her but it was a pretty interesting episode and then he
gets mad because she mentions some comedian that he doesn't like and they bleep out who Jerry Seinfeld doesn't
like so I google it and I find out that this comedian at one point had spoke negatively of Jerry
Seinfeld but here's why and I've heard this but as I get older it gets crazier. When Jerry Seinfeld was
38 he dated a 17 year old. Oh what? Yeah.
Didn't know that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, Googled that one.
Okay.
Do I have permission to Google right now?
Yeah, go ahead and Google it up.
So, yeah, Jerry's time, was 38.
And I'm 39.
I can't even imagine.
No.
Ugh.
And so there was no internet back then.
How did they meet?
Meaning there was no TMZ, no Twitter.
So anything that happened kind of didn't happen in the eyes of the public.
What did you find over there, Amy?
I'm just clicking on an article that says,
remember when 39-year-old Jerry Seinfeld dated a 17-year-old?
They have him listed as 39 there.
Oh, wow.
So, saw that,
well, reminded me of...
She doesn't look 17 if that helps.
I'm sure that's what he thought.
Right.
Maybe he thought she was...
It's never a good basis, though, do.
I was also reading this story
about this woman who wants childless couples banned from Disney,
and she posted this really long,
angry Facebook message
where she was like,
if I see one more
millennial
that doesn't have kids
at Disney World.
I'm like,
what?
That doesn't even make sense.
Yeah,
the post has gone viral,
which is why I saw.
I don't follow this lady.
A mother went off
on a rant about single people,
specifically women in the park,
insisting they should be banned
from Disney.
She said,
it blanks me off to no end
when I see childless couples
without kids at Disney World.
Disney World is a family amusement park.
Yet these immature people throw away their money on useless crap.
The woman then blamed the child-free couples for the park's overcrowding
and weirdly blame them for her son,
crying over not being able to get a Mickey pretzel because the line was too big.
I wanted to take that blanking pretzel from that blanking blank.
You made my son cry, you blank.
She is not at the happiest place on earth in her heart.
People without children.
Should they be banned from Disney?
No.
No.
No. I never got to go to Disney as a kid. We couldn't afford it. So I went to Disney land like three months ago.
Yeah. Because I worked for ABC, which is a Disney company. And they were like, hey, you want to go? We'll hook it up. And I was like, what do you mean? Hook it up. They're like free tickets. It was awesome. Now, granted, I get to skip some of the lines.
Yeah. But there were a lot of people without kids there. I thought it was fun. Yeah. So fun. I don't know.
She what?
Is anybody on her team?
On Facebook, you can find people
be on your team regardless.
It doesn't matter what team you're on.
You'll find people to be on your team.
Team, no kids.
Speaking of ABC on Sunday,
it's this Sunday, right?
The CMA Fest?
How about that?
Hey, I have a clip of Luke Brian and Carrie Underwood
talking about ABC airing a CMA Fest special.
Here's that clip.
I've always been the type of artist
when I can perform my music for a television audience.
It's like the best of all worlds.
you get to be in people's households,
and they get to always put the face with the song.
I don't have to deal with it.
I mean, that used to be a big deal in my career,
where early in my career,
we had to make sure the people watching at home
could put the two together
who this crazy guy was singing in the song.
Boy, at the end of that,
because I'm hosting it with Thomas Shrette and Kelsey Ballerini.
And so at the end, they're like,
hey, we're going to do this one thing.
You only got one shot.
It's you and Luke.
and they're like, okay, we have one minute,
but we're going to bring Lane Hardy in too,
who won American Idol.
And they're like, you only get one shot
because he's walking out on the stage.
And I'm like, all right, just let me do it.
Like, I'm going to get it right or I'm not,
but I feel pretty comfortable in me being able to work live.
So like, okay, here's what you do.
You take the microphone, you talk to Luke,
you talk to Lane, you take Luke's mic,
then he goes out and grabs his stage mic,
and then he performs.
And Luke's awesome, and Luke and I are buds at this point.
And Luke's have to be.
having issues because they can't find his ears, his inner ear monitors right before.
And he's like, where are the monitors? We got like 15 seconds before we get a hit
our thing. And everybody's kind of running around. And they're like, okay, I still feel pretty
good. Like, I bet on me live. And so they give me the mic. And I'm like, hey, Luke, what you think?
And I hand Luke, the mic and supposed to hand it back. He doesn't. He takes it out and takes
out to the stage. So Luke walked up there with two mics. And I think he just goes, uh-oh,
and just hands it. It ends up coming off wonderfully because it looks super funny and good.
but like the one thing I was supposed to do
is make sure Luke didn't run out on the stage
with the extra microphone
and here goes Luke out on stage
with two microphones.
So maybe you'll see that on the show.
You should check it out.
It's Sunday August 4th,
this Sunday at 8-7 Central on ABC.
Special collaborations including
Little Nodz-X
with Billy Ray Cyrus and Keith Urban,
Kelsey Ballerini and the chain smokers
and Carrie Underwood and Joan Jett.
There you go, a three-hour special,
7Central, CMAFest.com for more information.
I beg you to watch, actually.
I'd love if you watch.
Please watch.
hopefully I haven't seen the edit
there was another point too where
because those live ones
they go okay you're just throwing right to the artist
I was one with Tim McGraw
where I'm right in the middle of the stadium
and they're like we have a camera swooping down
and you have to do your part
and there's a prompter
and there's a prompter
and it swooped right to the stage
where McGraw is coming out live
so there's no room for error
and I'm like fine I'm good
I'd do it live
let's do it live
we're doing it live
you only get one shot
and so they go okay
but we got a
start the camera back farther so you can't read
the prompter. Do you have your script memorized? And I'm like,
oh, crap. And so
they're like, we got like 15 seconds.
So I'm like, what are my first words? So I'm just
basically vamping. I'm like, okay,
it's the music event of summer.
And then the camera finally gets close enough to me, and I do my little
deal. It's Tim McGraw, and the camera swoops.
McGraw comes out like a boss.
The crowd's going nuts. It'll be a great show.
Awesome. I hope you're watching on Sunday night.
So ABC at 8, 7 Central.
I saw Leo DiCaprio's girlfriend defending herself on Instagram.
Defending herself or what?
Her age.
Oh, how old is she?
I think she's 22.
Oh, okay.
Leo DiCaprio's girlfriend, model Camilla Marone,
isn't here for anyone criticizing her relationship.
The story says on Friday, the 22-year-old actress hit back at trolls
because she's 22 and DiCaprio is 44.
And so people get on Instagram and, uh, they did someone your own age.
I kind of feel bad for her.
She's an adult.
She's living her life.
Right.
Here's the thing about people
that complain on the internet
on Facebook or Instagram
is that
I was thinking,
I never complain on the internet.
I don't get a...
If something irritates me,
I don't write about it.
I just move away from it.
Maybe because I have stuff to do.
Yeah.
Maybe that's it.
Maybe because I don't have
some sort of bitterness in my heart.
I'm trying to find my happy place
instead of trying to bring others
to an angry place.
Mm-hmm.
In your Bobbycast
and Thomas Wrette, y'all touch on this.
And I thought I was interesting, like, all the, like you and Thomas,
Wrette dealing with it both and how you, how you handle it.
And it's just not, like, you were saying something about, like,
you're just going to go shift that positive energy towards something else.
Like, not even that person, like, if someone's writing a mean comment,
you could go just be positive to them and, like, kind of, like, kill them with kindness,
but you don't even waste your time with that.
I'll waste my time with haters.
Right, you just don't even waste your time.
You just shift it entirely.
Because I know what it feels like.
Mm-hmm.
And if someone comes.
comes to me and says, hey, your head is abnormally large, or you're single and you're 39, you're a big loser.
Then people say that.
I know.
Rude.
Instead of going back to them and being like, no, I'm not.
Or, hey, I remember what it makes me feel like.
People say that.
And I just make sure to be positive toward other people so they don't feel that.
But I did.
What kind of person can, even in Facebook, like, people complain about stuff?
I'm like, where is your, go have a life.
Go worry about things, like real things.
because as soon as I like Betty will write something mean on Facebook about me
and I'll click it and it's like her and her youth group at church like she's like you know what
Jesus is the reason and I'm like no it's not because you're over here on Facebook calling me a douche
yeah Jesus isn't the reason for me being a douche I just don't get the internet culture of people
being mean I don't get it because I don't live I don't understand it I know I just don't
have it in my heart to get on Instagram and write mean things under people's messages right
I don't get it either and also DiCaprio's girlfriend's
22.
Yeah.
You're just jealous because you're not DiCaprio or her.
I'm jealous I'm not DiCaprio or her.
You want to be her?
She is hot.
But I'm not taking it over and writing it on the page.
She is beautiful.
And she's 22.
Get off my page.
It's all coming out now.
All my positivity is just screaming out of me.
Get off my page.
We do this show live and you can watch it right as we do the show.
You can watch our new studio, state-of-the-art facilities.
We spent a lot of money on making sure our listeners can watch us and not only listen to us
because we wanted to be a full experience.
Maybe you don't have your phone.
Maybe you don't have your radio.
And people get in the comments and write the meanest things.
I will not have it.
I will block them.
You didn't pay to be on that site.
I don't want you infecting our other listeners that are awesome with negativity.
Now, earlier in the draft, let's say you didn't like that I drafted Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman as my celebrity couple.
You could have been like, oh, that's not a good pick.
That's okay.
That's not negative.
That's just an opinion on something that we've said.
But whenever you're bashing Amy for 15 straight minutes in that room, I've had it.
I'm out.
I blocked them.
I sent Morgan number two text messages going, block this person, block this person, block this person.
We don't have time for that.
I'm going to shift the internet one troll at a time.
Just don't do it.
You're listening?
Move on.
Move on to your life.
Go to something else.
Go to something to be nice instead of going somewhere to be mean.
All right.
Anyway, that whole DeCaprio story kind of started me on a, it was the first pebble out of the dam and then boosh.
Yeah, it's fine.
Thanks for listening to the Thomas Rott Bobbycasto.
You're welcome.
Is it good?
That was really good.
Yeah, I loved it.
I recommend, it's like one of my favorites.
And I've listened to, I mean, you have like 186.
I haven't listened to all of them by any means.
But I've listened to quite a few.
And I think that that just went up there as one of the faves.
So Thomas Ratt and I talked for about 70 minutes.
He just comes over to the house.
And I like it when I'm hanging out with people that I actually have a personal relationship with.
because I know the places I can push a little bit.
Right.
It was the first time I'd ever heard him talk about publicly
about being uncomfortable because of people on Instagram.
And he talks about it openly.
It was great.
I thought he did a great job.
This other podcast called Get Real is fantastic.
It's a Caroline Hobby.
And she has on two people at the same time.
She did a live podcast with Caroline Bryan, Luke Bryan's wife,
and Rebecca Sweet, who is the wife to Philip Sweet from Little Big Town.
So it's all three of them.
And Caroline Bryant talks about her in Luke Bryan's first house.
and how she appreciates everything more since she's been with him since the beginning.
Our first house was, our bathroom floor was like rotted out.
So in order to hop in the shower, you had to step over this big area.
So you wouldn't fall through the floor.
And now we're like, we don't even know how it went from there to here.
It's just funny to hear about that story when they were coming up together.
And they was broke.
They ain't broke now.
But like if you grow up broke, like I feel like me.
Like, my heart will always be broke.
Because I spend it most of my life.
And that's my formative years, we're just, like, gutting it out.
And so when you hear that about Luke Bryan, you're like, yeah, he is a real human.
You forget.
Not just big superstar of Luke Brian.
Here's Caroline Bryant again, Luke's wife, talking about how tough it was from the beginning,
when Luke would come home tired on the road, but she was also tired from having kids.
There are days when I wanted to take a pillow and just hit Luke in the face with it.
Well, because he would come home off the road.
I would have a kid or two, and I hadn't slept in.
three days and he was like oh the show was great which i was so happy that the show was great but i knew
he's slept but he goes god i'm tired i'm like you don't even know what tired is until you've been a
mother don't come at me two small children that haven't slept all night it's the get real podcast it's
so good here's rebecca sweet philip's wife from little big town says she was worried that they
wouldn't be able to support their kids because little big town had lost their record deals early on
the little big town's had four record deals that first one when the label
closed, it was like, oh my gosh, this could be over. At the time I had a newborn and I was like,
babies are expensive. And what are we going to do? How are we going to make this work? But, you know,
you just have to have faith in each other. And I think that's what I enjoy the most about our marriage,
is just looking at each other and being like, I got you. It's such a good podcast. Check it out. It's
called Get Real. G-E-T-R-E-A-L. Get Real with Caroline Hobby. So I saw Caroline and Amy's Big Barbecue
last night, talk for a long time. She's very pregnant. Yes. I mean, she literally could give birth any
minute. And in fact, and her husband still is like going on the road the next few weekends.
And I'm like, okay, you need to have all of us, your neighbors, like, on speed dial, because we might
have to come over and, like, drive you to the hospital. No, deliver the baby. That'd be the
greatest show story. What'd you do that, Miami? Oh, I delivered a baby.
Well, and we might as well bust out the podcast equipment and do it live. We'll do it live.

Shit.
Bobby Boone.
Hey, so two strangers missed a flight,
and did you see where the airline was like,
yeah, we got you guys a hotel room.
You guys should share one in one bed.
By the way, they didn't know each other.
Not at all.
A 71-year-old woman was flying back after visiting her daughter.
She missed her connecting flight.
So did a 35-year-old guy she didn't know.
So they offered to put them in a hotel,
but only if they shared a room.
Then, first of all, they agreed to this.
Yeah, it's so bizarre.
Second of all, they get to the room.
There was only one bed.
No.
The airline says, oh, it was all a misunderstanding.
Okay.
No, they were trying to be cheap.
Or make a love connection.
No, no, Amy, it was a 71 year-old.
That's 35.
You think this is DiCaprio.
Come on.
I don't know.
I did think about you, though, Bobby,
because you always wanted to meet someone on an airplane or a flight or something,
and I'm like, what if this is how it happened?
That'd be pretty sweet.
It was awesome.
Okay, we've got to go.
Amy, what's happening today?
I've got podcast stuff, my Q&A episode.
I need to record it for tomorrow and then have a meeting up here.
Okay.
For like a big, I think I need to be dressed professionally.
Yeah, Amy has a fancy client meeting where not only is there a client in town for this,
but also some corporate came to town to be in this meeting too.
Okay, you're making big deals.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I do know.
It's a big deal.
Well, we'll see.
What about you?
I have a, someone's pitching a podcast to me today.
I do pitches where people will come in and say, hey, I have a podcast.
I like for you to put on your network.
So I'm going to take a pitch
Right after the show at like 10.30 or so
So I'm doing that
I get some stuff tonight
I mean just random regular stuff
I'm probably gonna take the day off and working out
I've worked out nine days in a row
Time to rest
I'm starting to feel a little bit of my body
Where it's just kind of like
So I'm probably gonna take today off
It's from working out
I may get on the bike though
I'm doing a little recreational ride
It may just to like do one of those
Where you like drive around and look at the
scenery
Yeah because on the Peloton you can like drive through cities
apparently. I've never done it.
I only have two modes.
Or a mountain. None or
full goat.
So, yeah, we'll see how it goes.
Sometimes I jog through the desert.
Oh, yeah?
It's nice. It's not near as hot.
It sounds terrible. All the places you can pick to jog and you pick the desert.
It's got, it's pretty scenery.
Some of it.
Eddie and I'll be in Chicago on Friday night,
Raging Idiots.com.
We'll be in San Antonio and Austin the next weekend.
See you guys later. Hopefully we'll see you on Tuesday.

And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents.
I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
It feels good to get good news.

This is Radhdi de Bluquia from a really good cry.
I absolutely love getting outside,
whether it's a quick walk or a mindful few steps between meetings
or even a longer run to just clear my head.
But the one thing that can really ruin that for me
is shoes that just don't feel right.
That's why I started wearing ultra running.
With the ultra fit, every step feels comfortable, balanced and strong.
Like my feet can finally move freely.
What really stood out to me was the roomy toe box.
My toes actually now have room to spread out,
which makes movement feel more natural and comfortable.
and when your feet aren't cramped, you feel more balanced, like every step has a strong, stable foundation.
I've noticed that with extra space, my foot muscles get to work building strength,
so I can actually move with more confidence.
Ultra fits and moves with you no matter your pace or your goals.
Beginner or marathon runner, they've really become my go-to for any kind of running or training,
and I always feel like my feet can do exactly what they're meant to do.
Feel the difference by visiting ultrurrunning.com and use my code cry 10 for 10% off.
