Starting point is 00:02:47 I got to tell you, there's like a load lifted off my shoulders today. Why? Done. Go back and forth. Like for a year, I know, I just yawning, now you're yawning. Why would you do that? Oh, no. Now everybody listening is yawning.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Do you guys need to stop doing that? I don't let people eat in the studio anymore, so you guys will walk out of the studio to eat or to pee or whatever you do if there's like a quick break. And it was just Morgan number two and I. She was like, how's it going? I was like, good. Better. Because as much as I enjoyed doing those shows, I've spent a year going back and forth between
Starting point is 00:03:21 Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. Yeah. And like, I'm done now. like three months, where I have some other projects, but nothing where I have to travel to California all the time. So now I think I can just get to my, a bit of normalcy.
Starting point is 00:03:34 We're going on tour, but that's nothing for us because it's weekends. We've done it before. And it's weekends. Yep. We go and do shows Friday night and Saturday nights, we're aging idiots too, and we're good.
Starting point is 00:03:45 But, yeah, that's good. It kind of feels like, like all the things are going to fall in place now. We get a girlfriend, I'm going to get a dog, going to have a baby, um, retire.
Starting point is 00:03:56 All by the end of the year. Then get married. That's a lot. All in that exact order. So, yeah, yeah. We just finished today's show. Stick around. You'll get to hear it.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Where is this? A drunk airline passenger has been banned from flying after he reportedly broke a male flight attendant's leg during a dispute over a cigarette. What's wrong with people? Like he was trying to smoke it? A passenger boarded the flight without issue, though things quickly took a turn
Starting point is 00:04:22 as he decided to light up a cigarette. Oh my gosh. He must have been drunk. The flight attendant said, hey, stop. Let me tell you anyway. Broke, like this pivots to a story. One of my friends was a flight attendant for a long time. And she said, have I told the Whitney Houston story?
Starting point is 00:04:38 This is just hearsay, but probably true. But just hearsay, but I don't know how true. Whitney Houston's on an airplane. Not a private flight, first class. And Whitney Houston lights up a cigarette. And my friend's like, hey, you know, that's like a $5,000. and she reaches in her purse and pulls out a check and riffs and goes, here, writes a check $5,000 and smoke a cigarette on the plane.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Wow, they let her do it. Well, what are you going to do? Tackle one in Houston? No, and five grand. Just take it. Pay the fine. Wow. Everyone on that plane.
Starting point is 00:05:07 I don't know if that's who you pay it to. I'll think it works out. Yeah, yeah. And I did, I was on an airplane Amy that had ashtrays. Oh, that means it was old. That worked? It's like opened up and stuff? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:18 And they were all acclaimed, but I was like, what is this from? It's an old plane. They say Madmen? Did I talk about the low talker? I know I made that my notes. Did I ever talk about that on the show? No. Let me tell you.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I get on this flight. It could be a comedy bit. Well, no, it sucks. I get on this flight and American Idol flights back and forth, and they put me in first class because they're like, you. Oh, yeah, yeah. We were on a flight with him, like, leaving L.A., and we were on Delta and Bobby was first class. And my kids are like, oh, why is Bobby sitting up here? They've only ever flown Southwest.
Starting point is 00:05:50 This is, like, their first time on. Well, I guess when they came to Haiti, but that's a different story. But they were like, Bobby, sitting up there. I'm like, that's where the special people are. And I was like harassing her kids as they walk by too. Yeah, he's like, nan, nan, man, man. Because I'm also a child. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Everyone else in first class was like, well, it's happening. Until the last year or so, I never flew first class. I was southwest all the way. But the last year, because of dancing, which always put me first class, an idol. Sometimes I'll fight Southwest for Idol, just depending on when I'd go back. And if Idol's paying for it, plus, like, you're having to work. Like, you need to arrive. I get it.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Like, when my husband would go, like, for military stuff, fly long flights somewhere, they would put them first class because he needed to be rested when he arrived. Oh, I just because Idol was doing it's the only reason. Oh, but in you would be rested. I guess. Yeah. I didn't even land and go right to work. Okay, well, whatever.
Starting point is 00:06:44 I was trying to help you all. No, I got. I mean, they would just go, hey, you're part of the contract is we fly your first class wherever you go. So I was like, cool, cool. and so I'm there, and there's this odd camaraderie amongst people in first class, which I'm not totally in it yet. And you sit down and you're supposed to talk about what you do and what landed you to be in first class.
Starting point is 00:07:01 What? It's like a celebration of how you got to first class. Interesting. And so you sit down, it happens every time. You sit down, and I'm not a big talker with people because I don't want to bother folks. I'm like, they're here. They got their own life going, I'm going to sit down. But since I've done it for a year, they sit and they go, hey, the person's like,
Starting point is 00:07:17 hey, what's happened? Are you good? And I'm like, I am pretty. I mean, I'm in first class. the frick am I not good. Look at this. And they're like, so wait, what do you do? I think it's a marketing thing. I think they want to meet people who are also successful in the five first class so they can like use it to their advantage. Networking. It's a weird thing. It's like a whole first class culture. Huh. And so you know I met this last time? The Who's manager. Really? Of the
Starting point is 00:07:40 band The Who? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I met a few interesting people in first class. Yeah. That's cool. That being said, this one time recently I get on. and I put my headphones on because that means I'm gonna go sleep yeah in Bobby fashion yes and I've been the head in the heart put out a new album and I love it
Starting point is 00:07:58 and I'm listening to the head and heart it's my new sleep record and I'm in I'm taking it in and I get a little tap on the shoulder and I pull off, I just pull off one ear just barely where they know
Starting point is 00:08:09 I'm not even investing a whole ear in you right now you're gonna get a part of an ear I just don't hear what you have to say but I'm trying to sleep you know so I pull it off a little bit like this I'm doing here and like yes what's up
Starting point is 00:08:20 and I was like, well, maybe my headphones were too laugh. So I pull them off all the way. I'm like, whatever, because the thing you went on. And I was like, hmm. Is the guy? Yeah. Okay. The guy.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I hate to ask a third time because he's already said it twice. So all I do is I'm like, yeah. Yeah. And so, then he goes, no, no, no. It's a thing you went on. So he's asked me four times now, and I still don't know what he's saying. He's sitting in the seat right. right to my left.
Starting point is 00:08:54 And I go, hey man, I don't know what you said. Would you say? So he says it again and goes, hey, what was that thing that showed that you went on? People are stopping and taking pictures while they're walking by because I was sitting in first class and I'll take pictures with anybody. I'm happy to. And so I was like, oh, went to, ran through kind of the thing. And he's like, cool.
Starting point is 00:09:11 So I put my headphones back on, go back to sleep. No. That's me again. Oh, my gosh. And so then I realized that, well, I'm just in this for the conversation. Now I got to be. Take my headphones off. And he's like, see, see this?
Starting point is 00:09:21 What? Amy, we had a conversation. I think I may have heard one out of seven sentences he said. Why did, yeah, why couldn't he catch on that you weren't understanding? Especially if he had to finally, it took like five times for him to. Every time I'd be like, what? And then he wouldn't turn the volume up. He would just say it again.
Starting point is 00:09:41 And so then I found myself with my ear over in his seat just trying to hear what he was saying. Like, hold on. And then I would just, half the time I'd be like, yeah. And he'd be like, no. Yeah. But this is the weirdest, low-talking, like, turn the volume up. I wish I got to grab his nipple and just turn it up. Up to 10.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Because I would have, like, let me just give a few more notches here. There you go. Airplane's loud. The guy mumbled. I mumbled, but I know on an airplane mumbled louder. And it was a whole weird thing. Yeah, that's weird. For the whole flight, you talk like that.
Starting point is 00:10:12 It was like, it was a good day. What? I think I said, I hope you have a good day. And I was like, hope you have a good day too. No. He's like, no. You all become friends. You're going to hang out?
Starting point is 00:10:23 Well, you know what his name was? Oh, no, the name! Did you get his number? No, nothing. Oh, no. Somebody gave me their business card, though. Tell me more about this Who's manager. So I'm sitting next to the guy who's managing the Who.
Starting point is 00:10:37 You know the Who's? Yes. You have one of their T-shirts, I think, right? No, I don't. But they played the Super Bowl halftime. You don't wear their T-shirt? I think you might have a Who-Tee. I don't.
Starting point is 00:10:45 I would confess if I did. I don't. No, it's not that you wouldn't confess. We just don't think you know what t-shirts you wear. Okay, well, maybe I do have one. So I'm sitting next to him, and you can tell he's in the music business. Because he looks cool? Yeah, he's like older, but looks really cool.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like that Jimmy Iveen type of look. Yeah. Where he's like late 50s, but he's like... He's not wearing dockers. No, he's got like a leather jacket on, and you're like, either he used to be something or he is something now. Yeah. And so he's like, yeah, I manage the Who.
Starting point is 00:11:22 And I guess, like, we're not Roger Daughtry. Pete Townsend. No. Maybe one of them. Yeah, because those are the only, I think. Waters. No. Is there Waters?
Starting point is 00:11:36 Keith Moon was a drummer, but he died. Check out, here we go, here we go. We have Roger Daughtry, Pete Townsend, Keith Moon. Yeah. John, I don't know those people. Yeah, no, I only know Roger Daughtry and Pete Townsend. Well, who cares? I don't know, I think you're Roger Waters, Pink Floyd.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Yeah, that's exactly. Different band. Yes. Let me see who it is again. Because one of them was in town singing. Okay. Well, the band, the Who's touring? No, no, it was Roger Daughtry.
Starting point is 00:12:03 Okay, lead singer. And he was in town and he goes, yeah, he was in town. I said, is that the thing when they have 46 people? Is that an orchestra? Yeah, they have an orchestra. And he goes, yeah. And I know how expensive it is to tour. Because when the Raging Idiots tour, I got to pay for flights and hotels and pay everybody.
Starting point is 00:12:18 it's expensive. And I say to him, what does that cost you? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. How much does that cost them over 46, like, trumpet players? And apparently, what I learned that was very valuable
Starting point is 00:12:29 is they have, like, five people that travel, that lead the band, and they use the orchestras from every city. Oh, okay. And they come in, like, a day early, and they're just on charts. Yeah. But I found that to be a pretty interesting conversation.
Starting point is 00:12:41 That is, yeah. It's a lot cheaper. And just how that works. It's like five in an orchestra that travel with him and with them, and then they just, just find each city's orchestra and teach them real quick. And plus a lot of these older bands, they charge, like, a lot for their tickets.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Like Rolling Stone, who, like, a lot of the older Eagles, expensive ticket. Yeah, because their fans have, for the most part. They're all lawyers and doctors now. And they're just older. And they have disposable income. But those are the acts that are selling football stadiums. Yes. Arenas are the legend acts.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Yep. You know, as far as, like, young acts that can sell. stadiums? Garth. Why not? He's a legend act. He is. Like, think about that. I can name...
Starting point is 00:13:24 Taylor. Taylor? Kenny? What? Yes, absolutely Kenny. But is he legendish? If... He's doing a good job as staying young.
Starting point is 00:13:36 He's got a bunch of hits. He's still making hits. Ed Sharon is one that's super contemporary and doing stadiums. Kenny. Ariana. Ariana.
Starting point is 00:13:46 I don't think she's doing stadiums. Oh, she's not. Oh, Eric Church, isn't he now? One here. He usually does aren't like two in night. But there aren't that many stadium acts anymore, except for the big acts, like the Stones,
Starting point is 00:13:59 like Metallica, Guns and Roses, I think, did it for a bit. Yeah, they did. So it's always that, it's tough. It's tough to sell tickets and stuff now. That's cool you sat next to that guy. Oh, there's a whole culture up there. And now I'm off the show, so who knows?
Starting point is 00:14:14 Who knows what I'll be flying out? Probably sitting in the bathroom. He's begging for a seat at this point Mike D had written me this note Because we always talk about the dark web Oh yeah And how you get on the dark web Because that's where all the bad stuff happens
Starting point is 00:14:29 And even my lifelike commercial They talk about the dark web And how that's where people who still identities Take them and sell them to people So Mike what kind of research did you do in this I found how you actually get stuff delivered to you From the dark web Yeah so it doesn't get flagged
Starting point is 00:14:42 Is it like UP Or like the dark Amazon? Yeah, like a UPS. Well, it's like a dark eBay. It's at a brown, like what can black, what can dark do for you? Oh, what can black do for you? I wouldn't say black, I would say dark.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Oh, dark. So like it's not delivered to via your, via the internet, but like delivered to your house? Yeah, so there's like this underground eBay that's called the Silk Road. It's called what? The Silk Road. The Silk Road. So it's basically you go on there. It looks like eBay, but it's all like this illegal stuff, like drugs.
Starting point is 00:15:16 So this is on the dark web, the Silk Road is, okay? And you go there, and what they do is they'll start sending you random packages to your house from all different parts of the country or the world. So it looks like a bunch of random things coming to your house, but it creates this pattern to where it's not going to get flag later because you're already getting all these crazy packages, and then the one you do order shows up and it's not weird. So, but are they using Amazon?
Starting point is 00:15:41 No. No, man, they're using the Silk Road. Hold on, hold on, hold on. who delivers but my point is if there's this some new thing delivering to you why would something get flagged if just a package was dropped off why do you because it's it goes through customs still if it comes from another country oh yeah okay so it's not about it to get into your house
Starting point is 00:16:00 it's about it going through customs yeah it seems like they're using the normal carrier yeah right to get it to you that's what I'm saying so it would be like an Amazon or a UPS or the mail or the mail U.S. Postal Service So someone from the Silk Road isn't showing up like, hello, I can't know. With a robe. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:19 They have a sickle. You've ordered this from the black web. I'm your carrier. Dad, Silk Road here. Like, even just to see if this works, it makes this. That's order some stuff. Yeah, do it, Mike. But then, like, we would be the one time that, like, undercover cop is like.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Some, not too crazy, like Chinese stars or something. Ninja stars. Well, but that stuff's not for sale on the dark web. It's like. Everything's for sale on the dark web. Oh, I thought it was just pills and stuff. You'd think the only thing selling on the dark was pills? What would be something you'd be interested in the dark from the dark web?
Starting point is 00:16:55 Yeah, I need an example. Can I Google it? I'm staying off. Like Cuban cigars, maybe? They're illegal. I'm so scared of the illegal. That maybe like Xanax. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Something that I have a prescription. bribe Xanax. Something that I legally have a prescription for that I could just pour into my prescription bottle and I'd be totally covered and save. Hold up. What's the deep web? That's even deep web. You've seen the dark. That's a dude. That's above the dark web.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Oh, so it's not. That's middle? That's like purgatory web? Deep web isn't even bad. Oh. What? Yaha! They sell human body parts and organs on the deep web.
Starting point is 00:17:37 I just Googled it. They could do credit card information, body parts. That's dark web. Deep web is body parts. I'll take up heart. It says that organs are in high demand. Can I get two ankles? Oh, sorry, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:51 An elbow. Oh, my gosh, this is terrible. Weapons, uranium. Uranium. Legal and illegal drugs. Why would you be ordering uranium? Let me tell you. Nuclear weapons.
Starting point is 00:18:10 It can make a bomb. Back to the future, dude. Platonium. Listen, the first thing it says, if you aren't sure what uranium is and why it's bad, two words that will clear that up for you are nuclear weapons. So it's bad. It's dangerous. Stay away from it.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Also, you can get legal, any of the drugs, fake documents, swimmers. What's that? You know what I'd probably get a fake dog, my buddy pass. What? I didn't know what Swimmers was. It's sperm. Thank you. Crude oil.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Hey, don't go there for that. I'm over there to stop there. Oh, this is terrible. Look what I got when I Google swimmers. It's a tiny man's bathing suit that just covers the essentials. What's a pocket EMG generator? I'd be careful with all those, then me. Wow.
Starting point is 00:19:06 If those cannot get into the hands of bad people, that would wreck havoc. It's happening right now. Blood? You want blood and you can get it there. Twitter followers. I love how it's like Blood Twitter followers. You don't want those kinds of friends. This is where you get hit men.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Oh, that makes sense. And ricin? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, wow, yeah. That's the poison that you can just... Oh. Wow.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I don't want to go there. This is just an article about it, obviously. I'm not there. Maybe Mike D. should just start with Twitter followers. Work your way up. They don't pattern. How many of you want? That's like the most innocent.
Starting point is 00:19:47 thing on there is like Speaking of which, I need Instagram followers to hit a million so I can stop staring at my thing. I already not there yet. I have 976,000. You couldn't ask Orlando? Or I guess you'll hear about that later on. Couldn't ask
Starting point is 00:20:03 your buddies? No, they're not my buddies though. I like them, but I just try to play it so cool and I'm famous people. I was like... Katie Perry never gave you a little retweet or anything? Never? Hmm. Lino? No, uh, Lino on Twitter. Yeah, on Twitter he would.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Yeah, Mr. Bobby Jones, look at that million. Maybe there's a little treat in it for somebody in this room. What? What do you want us to do? I don't know. I go to the dark web. I don't want them. I have all drug lords following me.
Starting point is 00:20:32 It's like dictators and drug lords start following me all of a sudden. I'm like, wait, what? Every time we see your activity, you're involved with some kind of mobster activity. It's like the new leader of Venezuela just followed me. What the fuck? That's funny. I think that's it. We're going to go and get rocking here on the show.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Around the room real quick, Amy. What would you? Amy's still in the dark way. Amy, you've got to get off that. I look over at Amy and her eyes are really big. I feel like she's going to order something today. There's so much stuff out here. I just don't even...
Starting point is 00:21:06 What else did you see? I mean, everything from like, you know, Bruce Lee's nunchucks from Asia. They'd be shipping from Asia. They don't ship to Australia, by the way. You can get that in the first. Credit cards. Okay. Well, because a lot of it's stolen.
Starting point is 00:21:19 It's stolen. That's why. Probably from a museum. Yeah. And LSD. That's cool. Oh, I was what? Listen.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Moroccan hash. Now I'm in. That's the good stuff. LSD. A Glock. I was watching the Tour Bus Diary show. Have you started that? No, I'm not.
Starting point is 00:21:38 You will love it. It's Amy wouldn't. Amy's over there still. Because they even put like Nexus stuff. Amy's over there reading about Kentucky cocaine or something. No, they'll put. Next to it, they'll put 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Oh, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Because I'm sure you can go back for a refund. They'll be real nice about it. Their customer service is top notch. They're like Chick-fil-A. I mean, they're just going to be true to wonderful. Like, you've got to buy a gram of cocaine? Like, how do you even know it's really cocaine that you're getting? Their customer service is like, tough.
Starting point is 00:22:05 All sales are final. You got a problem with that? You probably can't even get a hold of them again. No. Okay. All right. All right. What are you going to say about the show that you like?
Starting point is 00:22:17 Okay, so there's this show called Tour Bus Diaries, right? Tales from the Tour Bus. Mike Judge presents Tell from the Tour, tells from the tour bus. And if you love music history, it's awesome, and they're all as cartoons. Just the threat, they are them,
Starting point is 00:22:32 but they're just drawn as cartoons. And they did, the whole first season is country. Oh, cool. And it's great. Because they did Johnny Paycheck, Jerry Lee Lewis, George Jones, and Tammy Wynette, which is crazy.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Tammy Wynette? George Jones. Oh, George Jones. I bet, yeah. Wild. Not a great guy. Really? You should watch it.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Great singer, not the best guy. Wow, good to know. And Tammy Wynette and how they got married, how they found each other. It's a wild story. Billy Joe Shaver, which is fantastic. That being said, I got over and I was watching the George Clinton one, season two is about funk. And they talk about LSD.
Starting point is 00:23:06 And I didn't know the history of LSD, but at Harvard, a scientist just decided to make it up and created it. And the same guy who's a scientist used to run sound, like sound or, for fish. No, no. The Grateful Dead. Okay, yeah. The older, so makes sense. Yes. And so they're developing this thing at Harvard, and he's also helping the Grateful Dead and starts giving them.
Starting point is 00:23:26 They start tripping. So the guys, George Clinton, they're up in Massachusetts or whatever. Not Bill. I know who George Clinton is. Like P-Funk All-Stars. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's a, got nothing about Jimmy, right? No, that's a play the funk music. That would be
Starting point is 00:23:44 Wild Cherry. Okay. What's the one? I'm thinking of... I get back to it in a second and finish the story. So they're up in Massachusetts and these nerdy white dudes come up to them
Starting point is 00:23:54 at like a funk concert where there aren't a lot of nerdy white dudes and they're like, hey man, let you guys try this new drug we just invented. And so they're like, sure, they'll try anything.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And they go to Harvard and they take a test to get paid 60 bucks to try the effects of whatever it is and it was LSD and then became the big LSDers because of a drug
Starting point is 00:24:12 it was crazy. Crazy. Your point. Yes. George Clinton. I know it. This is the greatest story about this song. This song here?
Starting point is 00:24:27 George Clinton was so messed up on LSD. He walks into the studio and this song is playing, right? And they're playing this track. He's like, here's a song, a dog. So the track's playing and he's like, I don't even know where I am. I should start. It was late to the session.
Starting point is 00:24:46 It was in trouble. So he starts talking about this is a story. This is a story. This is a dog. was not the track. It was a real track but this was played backward and they were rewinding when he put his headphones on and he thought that was a track and he was so messed up. He started
Starting point is 00:25:00 to go, he's like, this is Dory of a doll. So you hear that, some of that sound is from the rewinding and that is how that song happened to be big head. He started singing to the... He talks about this on this show. Wow, that's cool. It's good. If you're a music nerd, you love. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:25:20 were you to play that funky music, White Boy? No, no, the George Clinton song. That, for the record, though, that is wild cherry. Close, Eddie. George Clinton, Atomic Dog. That's the only song on our system by George Clinton. Really? Although, he wasn't like funkadelic.
Starting point is 00:25:42 They're not in. P-Funk All-Stars, not in. I don't know. That's it. We're done with this now. Around the room. Amy. What's today?
Starting point is 00:25:52 Tuesday. I have a Q&A episode up on my podcast, Four Things with Amy Brown. There you have. It's like 15, 20 minutes of just answering questions that are submitted from listeners to me and I answer them. Really important things. I know. I get more health questions and like, almost like, oh, I feel bad.
Starting point is 00:26:13 I mean, I do my research and I just do, I share what works for me and hopefully you have to see if it's going to work for you. But I need to start probably adding a disclaimer that I'm not a doctor. You know, I was thinking, no more I think that. I don't think anyone else. Or like, I'm not a nutritionist or, you know. But I do seek out answers from, if I don't know the answer, I seek it out from someone that I trust. If you seek Amy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Okay, Brittany. Spears. But do you know what that meant? Yeah. Yeah, I'm not dumb. What does it mean? She had a song called If You Seek Amy. Do you know what it means?
Starting point is 00:26:47 No. F you K, me. Oh. And the name of the song was If You Seek Amy. Dirty. But if you put it together. Yeah. Didn't we play that?
Starting point is 00:26:56 We did. And I, yeah. And Amy loved it. She was like, who can hide me? No, I'm just, I remember certain stuff only from when I had a show after our show for two hours, and I would have to, like, intro a song. Yeah, that was. And I always felt weird about that one.
Starting point is 00:27:09 That was a weird one. Lunchbox, what would you like to say? Oh, I'd say listen to the SOR Losers podcast, Eddie Ray, myself have a podcast that goes up every day. Soar Losers, wherever you get your podcast. There you have it. And for me, I shall say that Eddie and I are going back on tour. And the tickets are sold wonderfully, and some cities are sold out and some aren't. go check out and see if we're coming to your town.
Starting point is 00:27:31 It's two guys, Eddie and myself, doing music and comedy in our Raging Idiot songs, and Walker Burroughs is playing with us. So Denver, Chicago, San Antonio, Austin, Amarillo, El Paso, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Arkansas, Richmond, Virginia, Wilmington, Delaware, Tulsa, Las Vegas, and Louisville. I'm getting so many emails. I mean, I don't know if I'm just the only person people know how to email, but I get all these emails. You have the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:27:54 They're like Dr. Amy. How do we get to a raging idiot? No, they're like so pumped about. coming to y'all's show and they're like i got tickets i can't wait it's gonna be the best and i'm like how come you don't answer that question on your podcast yeah do you want me to i will sure i'll add it you're i haven't okay i'll add it i'll add it you don't have to i mean you feel it maybe i should be like do it in your medical minute do you yeah i mean yeah that's what i feel like sometimes i'm like oh man i really hope that this is correct information we'll see you uh well

Starting point is 00:33:21 Good morning, studio. Morning. I was reading this story about every injury Daniel Craig has had while playing James Bond. I mean, this guy's been through a lot. and he does as many of the stunts as his insurance company will let him get away with, which I don't know what he's trying to prove. Does he just think it's fun?
Starting point is 00:33:41 Is he trying to prove he's a real action star? Because it's not the same as it was like in the 80s and 90s. Like they can get people look just like you. And you can go make way more movies. Listen to this. Casino Royale. He knocked out two of his front teeth while shooting a fight scene, complete with blood seeping out between his fingers when he covered his mouth,
Starting point is 00:34:00 Dennis was flown in. The teeth were replaced, and he wore a protective mouth guard for fights from then on but kept fighting in fight scenes. Quantum of solace. He aggravated an old shoulder injury and separated it while fighting, requiring surgery. Also in this movie, he sliced off the end of one of his fingers. He said he just lost the pad and had to, and had to have it like when they make it hard, like they burn it and make it hard at the hospital. Oh, so he doesn't have a fingerprint anymore. He could, like, break the law with that finger and no one would know.
Starting point is 00:34:33 He's a one-finger criminal. James Bond Specter. Is that he say? Spectra? Specter? While shooting a fight scene, he sprained his knee and they had to delay the shooting for a few days. On 25, the new Bond flick, he slipped and fell while sprinting and messed up his ankle so bad that they had to fly him to the United States for x-rays. Filming has been halted while he gets checked out.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Like, he's going to hurt every movie. How old's Daniel Craig? He's got to be 50, right? Yeah, I mean, I feel like... You ever see those movies? Those are... Yeah. He's 51?
Starting point is 00:35:10 I like him in those. Yeah, he's 51. I don't know what I've seen in you in them. 51. The internet has me... My height listed wrong. They have me less than like 510. I'd be said that.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Let me check those out. I'm done. I quit. I'm not 5'10. I'm at least 6 foot, too. Right, Amy? Oh, no, you're 6 foot. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Calm down. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. So your neighbors were loud? Oh, yeah. They had a party. And it was a school night, like a week night. Like, I don't get it. They did give me a warning that they were going to be having an event.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Oh, wow. An event. An event. Like, and I was like, is that just like a subtle way of saying you're having an all-night party concert in your backyard? Wait, so what were they? Wait, was it, was it, Borgbeck. No, it's in between us. Was it T.J. Osborne?
Starting point is 00:35:58 would be honest. No, it wasn't. I would call him out. Okay. I'd be like, seriously? Because my kids didn't sleep, I didn't sleep, and it's, yeah, it's the house in between us. So yeah, I wonder if it kept him up. But, I mean, there was music and cheering and talking and drinking and yelling and laughing and la-la-la-law.
Starting point is 00:36:18 On a week-night. What time of the night is this clip from? Oh, this was, I finally I got out of bed to record it because I was like, nobody's going to believe me that I'm having to listen to this at like past 11 p.m. So this is probably like at 11 or 11.30. 11 on a week night. Okay, let me hear this. It's like 10 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Amy, automatically. I didn't know. I didn't know. I've already been in bed since 8 p.m. So I don't know. Still, 10 o'clock's too late on a week night. Trust me. I didn't go to bed until like 12.30 p.m. maybe. Yeah, we trust. So sorry I didn't remember exactly what time I recorded.
Starting point is 00:36:49 It's like 10 o'clock. This is all that I hear. It sounds like a beer commercial. Are you kidding? I didn't even. When they opened up the ball, and I was like, that's a frat party.
Starting point is 00:37:02 I didn't even like walk near the, that's me opening my door. Like that I didn't even walk outside. Amy, what on earth? Wait, that's your bedroom door or your front door? My back door. Yeah, it's right by my bedroom. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Yeah, that's loud. Okay, what? At 10 o'clock on a weeknight. This is all that I hear. That's an event. And so I opened it. They had, they just finished playing a song. So that's why they were cheering.
Starting point is 00:37:27 A song. I just heard happy birthday in there too. There's more. Listen to the songs. Another song started later. This is that Amy says she's a cool neighbor. I'm a cool neighbor, but I also need to wake up early. Are they doing like slam poetry or what? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:37:43 I didn't want to walk outside because I didn't want them to see me. We share a fence. If I were to have walked outside, they would have seen me. My kids probably heard sleeping here. That's for this Osborne. What is that? It ain't my fault. Hey, hey.
Starting point is 00:38:02 My kids probably hurt sleeping here. What can I? I'm still inside my living room as I'm recording this, by the way. The door's just open. Grover from Sesame Tree? Or cookie monster. It sounded like a pirate. Like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:17 What time did, is SpongeBob? Who does it find out of one? I know to see. My kids probably heard of sleep. What did your kids say? Oh, they didn't sleep. They did say that too? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:27 No. My daughter even came downstairs. She was just like. what is happening? Because her window, like, she's on the second floor and, like, her bedroom is right over their backyard, sort of. Did you ever go up and say something to them? Like, hey, guys, chill? No, but I got so many comments on Instagram when I posted that. Like, I saw people commenting, like, that I should call the police anonymously. You didn't do it? No, I'm not a call the police kind of neighbor. But even some of my friends were like, oh, I would have and kept it anonymous. I'm like, yeah, right. They would know it was me. And look, I already have issues on my street. I'm good. So let's go through the issues on Amy Street. One, somebody painted death next to her,
Starting point is 00:39:04 next to her house and a big spray paint. Yes. Two, there's the woman who has been harassing you going, you're not nice. No, it was one email, but, I mean, it's definitely... She sent you an email telling you how not nice you are. She definitely said, I was... Did you ever take her cookies? No, I've been too nervous.
Starting point is 00:39:18 I want to. I still would like to, like, make amends and explain to her that's a misunderstanding, and I'm nice, but you know what? Oh, did I tell you? My husband and I, we were walking down the street. Did I tell y'all? No. And some guy was walking by and my husband and I weren't even think of it but we're like, hey, and we wave, keep walking.
Starting point is 00:39:35 And then I hear a voice and he's like, see, you do wave to people. Really? And so he's a listener of the show that lives in my neighborhood that heard the email about how the neighbor was telling me that I just basically was not polite. Listen, I said this though. You are the kindest person that I know. And that's a weird thing that she would say that. She was drunk when she sent it. It was very bizarre.
Starting point is 00:39:56 So, yeah, there was, that. going on my street and then now this neighbor the party the event the person had this event is new he just moved in so I don't know if this is something I need to get used to or what you need to go on tour take the cookies to her take some earmuffs to him be like hey this is what I have to live with yeah and then find the gang that put up death and just go hang out yeah just go tell him your story yeah yeah I know there's a lot happening I'm good that's life in amy's neighborhood right Bobby Bones Show Big three stories

Starting point is 00:44:35 Me and my husband are both big fans. Oh, thanks a lot. So he's a fan too, huh? Yeah, he listens on his ride to work while he's at work, and I listen on podcasts, and we love you guys because it really, you know, when you get busy with life, with conversation, you can fall into the same conversation. How is your day?
Starting point is 00:44:53 What you do at work? But with you guys' show, it gives us a topic for discussion, and one of us will always bring up your show what we heard that day, and it just keeps conversation rolling. Well, I appreciate that, and I appreciate you lobbying for the show. You're our voice out there. Yeah. What's your husband's name?
Starting point is 00:45:09 Give him a shout-out. Billy Hilton. Oh, Billy Hilton. Oh, hey, Billy. That's like a wrestler's name. Yeah. And now entering the name Billy. Oh, he was a restaurant in high school.
Starting point is 00:45:19 That's funny. I mean like Hulk Hogan. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, thank you very much for listening. Thank you for the call. And here we are doing it again. Another week. I got a cool on this day in country music.
Starting point is 00:45:32 The Bobby Bonds show. On this day in country music. Today in 1993, 26 years ago, this song is released. Yeah, way down the yonder on the chattahooch. He never knew how much it money walking. Alan Jackson wrote it with Jim McBride, they wrote it out on the road, they finished the song before sound check before Alan Jackson was to do a show, he showed it to his band, and they performed it that night.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Wow, that's cool. Wrote it, recorded it, like a work tape, and then went out and played it, and there it was. Instantly. And it's a classic. It's a modern classic thing, right? On the stand country music, 26 years ago, Alan Jackson releases Chattahoochee. The Bobby Bone Show. So we have even split guys and girls on the show.
Starting point is 00:46:16 and I brought in Morgan Number 2 and Utility Hillary. Now Morgan Number 2 does digital on our show, so all of our social and all of our website. And Hillary does a little bit of everything, from editing to commercials. Like she sits in the glass room and does a lot of the stuff that you don't actually know what's happening, like behind the scene stuff. But they're both single, right, girls? Yep, yep. And both dating a bit or trying to date.
Starting point is 00:46:39 But what I've heard is that there's an issue with being on this show and dating for them. Morgan number two, telling me about this. Yeah, so I will go on a date and people will ask me all about Bobby and they'll be like, what's he like? Who's he dating? Can you tell me some secrets about Bobby? And I'm like, no, I can't. I don't want to talk about that right now. Yeah, that could be hard.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Do you feel like people are going out with you just to find out? Can they be spies? Yeah, like I feel like they're coming to date out with me to hang out with you. I'm like the way to you. Are you putting it in your dating profile? though that you work for me? No, I actually put like our actual company name instead of like who. I mean, but if they're a fan of the show, they kind of figure it out.
Starting point is 00:47:25 What are you about that? I mean, I get it. I felt that way with some nanny interviews. Oh, you did? Yeah. Oh. Except for it wasn't like guys trying to just ask about you. It was like girls that I thought might try to date you.
Starting point is 00:47:38 And I was like, I don't know. Maybe these guys want to date me. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, maybe. I'm very single. Maybe, but yeah. I mean, that's got a bummer. That's a bummer to be dating and not know. I mean, Bobby, you have to deal with that, not knowing like if someone's dating you for you or what they want.
Starting point is 00:47:52 And now, yeah, it's affecting girls on the show. Do they want to date them for they are? Or if they can get close to you. Listen, I'm going to say this about the girls on our show. If you get one of them to go out with you, you better treasure that because we've got some good girls on this show. That's right. You don't even need to ask about me. You need to get off that train.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Morgan number two, how's it going? You date anybody or no? Yeah. I'm still out there dating. I've kind of went on about five dates with one guy, which is pretty consistent for me at this point. Five. That's almost boyfriend stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Don't say that. I'm not ready for that. Oh. Five dates is a good amount. Yeah. Yeah. Hillary, anything with you? No, I'm still looking around.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Still trying to find someone. Are you on the apps? No, I'm not on any of the apps. Okay. Well, then you're not looking hard enough. I don't know. I think I'll maybe run into them somewhere. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:38 We'll see what happens. Work events. I used to say that too. Like maybe I'll just bump into somebody somewhere. She might. I mean, I don't, yeah, we got to, maybe we need to be keeping our eyes open for them too. Already tried. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:51 It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. A major rescue operation went down in Michigan, all because of a raccoon. Do you think? I mean, I think raccoons are super cute, but I mean, nobody expected for traffic to stop. Everything was reduced to a single lane for about an hour during the rest. rescue. A fire department ladder truck was summoned to the scene.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Authorities attempted to capture the raccoon in a net. And it finally worked. The raccoon was captured and safely, might I add, which is just awesome because, I mean, this is showing that, you know, every creature counts. I'm going to tell you what. In Mountain Pine, Arkansas, it ain't happening. Somebody's pulling out their shotgun and getting rid of that raccoon real quick. Traffic? No problem. Yeah, no. Listen, good, good. I am personally on Team Raccoon.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I think they're cute. They're so cute. No, they're in the garbage too much. They're gross animals. They're cute on cartoons. Yeah, but that's not their fault. They're just trying to survive. But no one goes, you know what, Bobby's not that cute, but it's not his fault. Let's let him happen.
Starting point is 00:49:53 No, no, we are what we are. They're cute whenever they're just, like, cleaned up and in the wild. You know. But the raccoons don't really aren't that great about animal. Haven't dealt with many of them myself. In the country, what town was that in? This was in downtown Michigan. Okay, I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:50:09 Downtown Michigan. The city of Michigan. Sorry. Oh, so I was confused. I didn't know if maybe there was a Michigan, Michigan. It says in a Michigan city. Yeah. My bad.
Starting point is 00:50:21 In a city in Michigan? That ain't happening. But good for the raccoon. I love to see another day. I know the county it was in. Kalamazoo. Well, it's probably near Kalamazoo, Michigan. There you go.
Starting point is 00:50:34 All right. Okay, sorry. Thank you, Amy. Bobby Bone Show. Boney up the day. This story comes with us from Cape Coral, Florida. A man has been busted breaking into a house to steal a Nintendo Switch, all because it was caught on camera. They have one of those ring doorbells, and the guy breaks in, steals the Nintendo Switch.
Starting point is 00:50:53 Only problem is, he was in his work uniform with the name tag on, so they got it all right there on camera. Easy to find. That's pretty funny. Yeah, oh, Herb. They knew it was Herb by his name tag. What was his job did it say? It didn't say, I think it was a fast food restaurant, and his name was Kyle. Oh, of course, Kyle.
Starting point is 00:51:11 That's what I meant. Yeah, yeah. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the day. Lunchbox's high school reunions coming up. Wednesday? June the 8th, Saturday, June 8th, 20 years in the books. Wow.
Starting point is 00:51:36 And Lunchbox wanted to get a Lamborghini to drive to his high school reunion, so they kind of show off. But you're not showing off what's real. Yeah, but people expect a certain level of flat. from the prom king. True. Oh, you think Pete, no, Damby, don't. Yes. Sorry, I like adding to it.
Starting point is 00:51:56 No, they do. I don't think people even remember who the prom king was. I bet you hasn't popped in their head one time since graduation. Oh, yeah, right. Are you kidding me? I remember who my promul king was.
Starting point is 00:52:06 But have you thought about it at all since we brought it up here on the show? He's a friend of mine. I'm thinking about it right. You're right. Bobby's right. I haven't really thought about it. He thinks people obsessed over the fact
Starting point is 00:52:17 that he was prom king every since he was in high school. Yes, 20 years ago. And I guess I don't expect my friend to show up in some flashy car. And so Lunchbox called him what would you say the average price was to rent a Lamborghini? It was like $15,000 for the day. Was it that much? $15,000?
Starting point is 00:52:35 Whoa. I think it was like $3,000. No, I think it was more than $3,000. $3,000, we could do it. Go-fund me and get that. I'm pretty sure it was quite expensive. Well, regardless, he's now thought, okay, I'm not going to do a Lamborghini. Now what are you thinking?
Starting point is 00:52:49 I'm thinking about a Tesla. I've been hearing a lot about these Teslas. I don't know much about Teslas, but it's the new buzzword. And I don't know if they're flashy enough. Are you just hearing things set on the news and you just bring it in here? No, no. They talk about Teslas a lot and people are like, oh, it's the new cool car. But I don't know if it's flashy enough to drive to the high school reunion.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Like, well, that turn heads. If I pull up in a Tesla, will people be like, dang, lunchbox got a Tesla. It won't be very loud, that's for sure. It makes no noise. Why don't you just go in your own car, park, and go in and be normal? Aren't you one of these people who's like people on Instagram are so fake? No, but it looks cool. Like, I like those rich kids of Instagram.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Like, they have a cool life. They post pictures on boats and yachts, and I'm like. But they're really rich. Okay, but I think it's cool. I think you've got to make yourself look cool at your 20-year reunion. People expect certain level of success. And if I show up in a beat-up pinto, they're not going to be very impressed.
Starting point is 00:53:49 All right, find a pinto, first of all. Second of all, I don't think most people are going to see what car you're driving anyway. Why don't you just get nice clothes? That way, you at least get to keep them. Well, I mean, I'm going to have nice clothes on, of course. There you go. The end. I think you're just wasting your money.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Amy, your thoughts. I kind of want to see him get a fancy car. Sorry. Why are you encouraging? Because I think he'll be funny. Like, I don't know how he's going to handle it. Like, what he'll do? Plus, he's so obsessed with it, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Like, if this makes him happy, and he wants to waste his money on renting a car. I don't understand why you think it's a waste. It's too. He did a Corvette one year? That was a 10-year reunion. And then anyone's a Cedar Corvette that you rented? Not as many people as I wanted because...
Starting point is 00:54:32 He was like doing laps. There was no parking in the... You had to go park in a garage. So I had to do two laps, two or three laps around the block. So multiple people would see it. Let us know what a Tesla cost to rent. All right. I'm going to look it up and try to figure that out.

Starting point is 00:58:18 Bobby, you feel like in school, like high school in particular, we learned useless things that like after school we got out, boom, you never use it again. I feel like most of the stuff I learned in high school, I never used again. Especially math. Yeah, I feel like a lot of that's on here. So Americans were surveyed with, you know, the top things that after graduation they never used. And yeah, like pie is on here, periodic table, the pie the degree. Grey Ethereum. Do you even know what that is?
Starting point is 00:58:47 Is that Pythagorean's theme? Yes. What is that? I clearly haven't used it since high school. How many other math things are on there? Some science stuff like protons, neutrons, electrons, osmosis, photosynthesis. I think that's valuable to learn if your path is that direction. They made me learn a lot of stuff that I knew I'd never use. I resented having to spend time. We don't teach things, though, that we should.
Starting point is 00:59:14 like how to budget. And if we do, it's like two weeks of an entire class. There's a lot of stuff that we don't teach. What else is on that list? Go ahead. Naming the presidents in order? I didn't mind that so much. The types of different rocks that there are.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Sedimentary, igneous, metamorphosis. I mean, I don't mind that stuff. Okay, show off. Well, I'm a, listen, I love trivia. I know. Well, I guess there, it helps you. It helps us, like, when we played that, you know. I enjoy learning.
Starting point is 00:59:41 It just, they made me take a lot of stuff I didn't want to take. and I knew I would never use again. I like the way my high school, they sort of handled. They knew I wasn't that into chemistry. Me and some other kids. So, like, we got to take something called chemistry in the community, and I loved it. Like, it was so great. It was just, like, way more.
Starting point is 00:59:59 No. Like, Breaking Bad? No, but it was just way more on my level. Like, I didn't need to be doing, like, the full-blown chemistry. But it just was, you know, it was something where we got in some of the science stuff that we needed. But it just wasn't as intense. And I knew I wasn't going to go into a field in college that I needed a chemistry background. So it was all good.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Well, I agree with that. I think we should, instead of focusing on what we're not learning, we should find like seven or eight things that we are and have schools implement them. Yeah. All right. All right. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:31 All right. All right. All right. What? I mean. Like a band. Hey, listen. I know Jimmy died last week, but Modest Mouse is going to be playing right after
Starting point is 01:00:44 show. No. I don't think it would affect it. Listen, some people say that hiring performers can increase attendance at funeral. Why are they trying to sell tickets to a funeral? No, no, but a higher attendance is seen as a, you know, a better way of honoring the person that died because, like, more people will be there. It's got to be hard sometimes if there's a funeral and then not that many people will show up. I mean, really rich people are going to have Bruno Mars playing their cousin's funeral. I prefer to call it a celebration of life. I prefer to call it a celebration of life. That's what we called my mom's funeral. That'd be weird if like a musical guest played.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Imagine if you're the musical guest too and it's like, all right, Tyler Farr, you're on. They're ready for you. They just finished crying. I wonder if any of our country, like our artists here have ever been asked. You know, they get probably asked to play weddings and birthdays and bat mitzvahs all the time, but I wonder if they've ever been asked to play a funeral. I don't know. I saw Daniel Bradbury singing at her friend's wedding on her Instagram.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Oh, that's cool. Yeah, it's really cool because she's really good, too. What else? Okay, so I have the worst opening lines that women have gotten on dating apps. Oh, I know mine. It never works. Okay, what is it? Hi, I'm Bobby.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Okay, well, you need more than that. Okay, listen, girl, you're looking thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. What's up? Listen, I don't think lines work. Okay. What I really do, because I'm on the apps, what I really do is try to cater each message specifically to the person involved. Okay, what about this one?
Starting point is 01:02:16 Are you from McDonald's? Because I'm loving it. Okay. I just feel like girls with, hey, Morgan number two, you're on the dating apps. The guys are talking to you, right? Oh, yeah, yeah. If someone came to you and was like, hey, and they used a line, would you think that was funny or they're using it on 100 people and it's a bit corny?
Starting point is 01:02:34 I don't like lines. Like, they have to tailor it to whatever's on my profile, and that's when I'll engage. Otherwise, I won't respond to a line. That's what I do. I write to the people. Like, I'll write stuff depending on what the profile is. Do you, yeah, because, I mean, you're, you write jokes, like, as part of your living. So do you, have you ever, like, you studied a girl and then been like, like, you sit there and have a quick little writing session and then you hit her with some things in the row?
Starting point is 01:02:57 I don't know about a sish. Well, I mean, but, I mean, I'll look at a profile and then I'll. My question is more so, you're already talking with her, but do you have some premeditated funnies that you already have planned? So that, like, you work them in there and it seems like you're just like that quick? No. No. You're just that quick. Well, they don't get them.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Yeah. Lunchbox doesn't eat, what have you done? Don't you have your pickup line bit that you do sometimes? Oh, way back in the day? Yeah. Oh, a long time ago. Maybe you need to go do that. Oh, it's when you were single?
Starting point is 01:03:30 Yeah. Oh. But, I mean, your wife knows it's just a joke, but I feel like maybe lunchbox should go do that and try some of these. I cater mine to this. I'm looking at some of mine now. Will you give this an example? It's so embarrassing. Just say it.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Oh, yeah. This is a safe space. It's not, no, it's not. I've learned from you guys in the last couple months. This is not a safe space. Okay, just give us one. Well, these aren't so much jokes, but it's, it's, no, I'm not going to do it. Oh, do you?
Starting point is 01:03:59 Do you use your, like American Idol mentor, like, let me mentor you? Ooh. No. Oh. I just, I don't really feel like I'm in a place now that I can share those with you. Because I've been getting rejected a little bit lately, and my heart doesn't, uh... Okay, well, when you're ready, we'll be here. I mean, because I'm sure people were curious to know what a Bobby pickup line is.
Starting point is 01:04:21 Well, there's no pickup line. I just cater it to the person. Yeah. I don't like this segment anymore. Okay, well, then I'll end it. I may me. That's my pile. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:04:31 With Bobby. Tell me something good. This next story is near and dear to my heart because I am colorblind. I know it's something the lot of people are embarrassed of them. They don't want to share it, but I come out and I put it out there. I remember once I was in bowling class in college. It was my one, like, goof-off class. You take an athletic activity.
Starting point is 01:04:55 My teacher said, okay, we need to volunteer. You, he didn't know me. He was just there. He goes, would you mind grabbing the green ball? Oh. They all look the same to me. Anything dark looks dark. Like, everything over a certain point dark looks black.
Starting point is 01:05:08 So I grabbed the ball. And he goes, no, the green ball. And I was like, all right, put it down, grabbed another one. He goes, can you hear? I said green. Can you hear me? I was like, I'm colorblind. Oh.
Starting point is 01:05:18 Yeah. And then someone just said, hey, it's right there, and I grabbed it, it wasn't that dramatic, but it felt, my heart felt very dramatic. But even with clothes, I have trouble matching dark colors. So when I read this story, this girl named Savannah, she's known she's colorblind too. She's 22 years old.
Starting point is 01:05:32 She spent the last two years studying to be a dental hygienist. But her instructor goes, oh, you can't tell the difference between the color of plaque and gum tissue. So you probably can't be a dentist. Because you can't see the difference in the colors. She's like, what? And so her classmates created a GoFundMe page
Starting point is 01:05:49 And they bought her some of those e-chroma colorblind corrective glasses And they did And now she wears them, she can see, and she just puts them on Just like she would normal glasses That's awesome I've looked at those, they don't work for me There's all different kinds of colorblindness Those glasses don't do anything for me
Starting point is 01:06:03 But good for her That's cool Yeah, I like it. And her classmates for, yeah You know, and that bowling instructor, he knew what he was doing He knew he had me There was no green ball The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30 Second Skinny.
Starting point is 01:06:20 John Party dropped a lot of big news. He's headed out on the Heartache Medication Tour with special guest Riley Green. His next album comes out September 27th, and he shared the first single from the album. It's the title song, Heartache Medication. I was talking to John because he played the American Idol finale. And John and I are actually good friends.
Starting point is 01:06:48 And he was like, yeah, man, got that new song coming out tomorrow. got a bunch stuff. And I was like, yeah, and I know his dad. He goes, my dad's in town. Go, go, go, you're hanging out all week. And I was like, well, come up and do the show. He was like, yeah, you know, I've been up there in a little bit.
Starting point is 01:07:03 I'm going to come to the show. And I was like, yeah, just come up. And he goes, you may come up tomorrow? I was like, no, we're in Los Angeles right now. But come up, like Friday. And he goes, all right, I said, bring your dad to do the show. I was like, oh, I'll bring John Seniors. That'll be fun.
Starting point is 01:07:17 So John Pardy and his dad should be up here Friday morning. Oh, that's, okay, yeah, I can't wait to see. Have you met John Senior? Where John comes from. Oh, it makes sense. Oh, it makes plenty of sense. Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:27 What else? Morgan number two? Eric Church performs this weekend at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, and he's going to be the first solo headliner to perform without an opening act there, and that stadium's been around for like 20 years. I would say fairly that most shows just don't have an opening act period. I mean, most shows have an opening act period, and his whole tour he doesn't. So I don't think he's going, I'm not having an opening act.
Starting point is 01:07:48 It's just his tour. Yeah. But, yeah, he's going to play a football stadium. It's crazy. Yeah, what else? Charles Kelly of Lady Annabellum shared that during a salute the troops show, one of the servicemen performing with him gave him a bracelet that honored a fallen soldier. He gave it to me and said, man, if he knew that you were wearing it and being up on stage and do this,
Starting point is 01:08:07 because I can't take this. This is like your friend that died in battles. I can't do that. He's like, trust me. This would mean so much to him. There you go. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny.

Starting point is 01:11:46 Mr. Bobby bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones. This time of the morning, we go over to Amy, who has her wildly popular segment, The Morning Corny. The Morning Corny! How can you tell if a vampire has a cold? How can you tell if a vampire has a cold?
Starting point is 01:12:15 He starts coughing. Oh, there is. That was the Morning Corny. There you have, folks. Shit. Watch box. Did you watch The Bachelor right last night? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:28 Is it good? So good. Why is she so good? Because she's just a real, she's real. She's just funny, kind of southern. She's not very well trained, so she messes up her words. Like when I do commercials, I mess things up. Oh, she's like you.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Yeah, so I like her personality. She's very, she's fun. I'm gonna tell you, she's really pretty. Like, a few people have I been, out with was that good looking. Oh, really? So when people go, she's the most, I'm like, no, no, no, I don't know what her personality
Starting point is 01:13:00 is, but she's... Oh, wait, I got to Google her. Oh, she's a hottie. Strikingly... Alabama, Hannah. That's all you got to type in. You're going to see some picks. We were at American Idol, and I was walking in,
Starting point is 01:13:11 and they've ear pieced to me at the time, because the whole time I wanted that show, I don't know if they ever show me and had these earpieces in. Yeah. I don't really hear much going around me because they're talking in my ears the whole time. And I hear someone go,
Starting point is 01:13:22 Bobby, I love you. And that doesn't happen a lot, but I look over, and it's this really pretty girl. And I'm going, oh, who is that? I thought it was a news reporter, because they're usually really pretty. And I was like, I should go meet the news reporter. Like, I'm single. Let me see what's up. If she loves me, maybe that's one half the battle already done.
Starting point is 01:13:43 And so they're like, but you need to get in the elevator. The show starts in like three minutes. I'm like, hold on. I'm busy. We'll get back to that American Idol. What even is that? We'll get back to that in a minute. And so they're like, hey, you have 15 seconds.
Starting point is 01:13:57 I go on and I say, hey, I'm Bobby. You know, what's your name? And she goes, you don't know me. I'm The Bachelorette. I'm Hannah. I just want to say, hi, I'm just a huge fan. Oh, wow. And I'm going, what?
Starting point is 01:14:09 Like, what is happening here? And so I get in the elevator and I'm going up. And as I've mentioned before, I'll be very delicate about this. There have been conversations about me and that show, the Bachelor show. The Bachelor show Right Just talk There's been conversations
Starting point is 01:14:27 Right And so I didn't realize So I was gonna hit her up on Instagram And go I'm so sorry that I didn't get to talk to you But she'd already message me And I didn't know it because I didn't follow
Starting point is 01:14:37 I didn't follow her Oh And it was from a while ago And she was I don't even know what It was something random And so she was following me So I followed her back
Starting point is 01:14:46 I was like hey sorry I didn't mean to blow you off The show was starting And like she was like Totally cool And so we go out and we take a picture. We're actually talking for a minute and we'll take a picture and we're standing out there. And yeah, she's so pretty.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Like almost you're just going, is this real? Yeah. How did you get so? How come you get to be so pretty and I don't? Like can't we meet in the middle somewhere? Isn't there a middle ground for us humans that maybe aren't as pretty? And so she was super nice. And then we sat together for like one segment.
Starting point is 01:15:21 They were like, hey, you two need to go sit together up when they threw to her in the crowd. Did you see that segment at all? They throw to her and they're like, hey, what's it like? And they're like, Bobby, go sit beside her. It'd be good. Just for different reasons. Go sit beside Alabama Hannah. Is her name, Alabama Hannah?
Starting point is 01:15:33 Well, yeah, yeah. Well, that's what, I mean, I googled Alabama Hannah and yeah, lunchbox is right. A lot of things come up. That might have her Instagram name too. Oh. So we talked for, she had only been back for like four days because the show just stopped. Wow. Just stopped taping.
Starting point is 01:15:45 That quick. Could not be any nicer. This was just fantastic. and that's it. She's going to come do the show. Yeah. Well, she was like, they were like, she'll call in any time. And I was like, I'm not big on the phone interviews.
Starting point is 01:16:02 I'm not big on like an I-SD interview unless it's like Bradley Cooper. You know, but so she messaged me. She said, hey, it was great to me. You had her back. I was like, hey, she was like, I don't want to give too much of information. I can come into town. It's like, cool, come on. She was like, I'll be there, no doubt.
Starting point is 01:16:18 So it was good. She's nice. Wow, so now you're friends with The Bachelorette. She was friends with me more than I was friends with her friends. Yeah. Man. Right, but now y'all are friends. Like, if you were to see her.
Starting point is 01:16:27 If you would have checked your direct messages before the show, you, oh, man. Could have what? I mean, before the Bachelorette started, he could, yeah. He could have been, I don't think so. Bobby and Hannah. I don't think so. But she's a huge Alabama fan. Yeah, she says Roll Tide a lot.
Starting point is 01:16:43 Oh, does she? She says it a lot. Does she say anything to you like, you know, in case you're considering doing this? All I'm going to say is there's a good time. We had a good time. It's fun. We had mics on too. So even we weren't on camera, people can always hear us.
Starting point is 01:17:00 So I had to kind of go, don't say anything you don't want to be out there. And so this is the move. Like stop telling me, you like me? No, that's not it at all. The move is you pull out your phone and you write it on your phone in front of them. So I'd write a message and I'd show her. And then she'd pull, and then she would write it because you can't say it because the microphone. So baller.
Starting point is 01:17:20 I know. But my only point with this whole conversation is she was super nice. Super hot. Super hot. Yeah. Yeah. So, like top five hottest you've ever seen in person? Oh, I'd have to think about that list.
Starting point is 01:17:34 But I don't know. But she's up there. She's very pretty. She's a head turner. She's a million followers. That Bachelor show, man. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:44 People watch it. Yeah. It gets people followers like, boom. But it was good. Yeah, it's really good. They went on a pageant date, like where all the guys had to be Mr. Pagent. And this dude, Luke, it's a second date, and he tells her, I'm falling in love with you. Listen, I don't know if like 10 minutes.
Starting point is 01:18:00 I was like, I'm falling in love with you. I get it. I was always like, this show is pulling crap. Well, okay, so she was on the show. She was one of the girls. Like, that could be a girl. Yeah, oh, sorry, now I have her Instagram playing in the background. But, okay, so she is the Bachelette, because.
Starting point is 01:18:18 She was a rejected girl from The Bachelor. And her personality shines. Like, this could be the kind girl you could meet if you ever did the show. I just think. Or you can meet her like this. Because she seems super cool. This is what's funny with Amy. This is a little behind the scenes on Amy.
Starting point is 01:18:35 She texted me last night. About a few things at once. And it's hard to get Amy on text anymore. Amy and I used to be. Oh, my gosh. We're right at it. And now she's kids. What are those two things called?
Starting point is 01:18:44 Do you have? Kids. Kids, right. So she has these kids. And so when I get her, I get that window where she's texting, we just go over a bunch of stuff. And she was like, hey, why don't you date her? I was like, I think she's engaged probably from the show. We have to wait.
Starting point is 01:18:56 She was like, oh, good point. Yeah, she's on that show. But that doesn't always work out. I know, but I don't have time to wait. I'm trying to find a way right now. Okay. This is a good bit, huh? Is this a good bit?
Starting point is 01:19:09 Dude, that's a crazy story. I'm just glad to know that she's as hot as she is in person as she looks on TV. Nicer. There's a lot of pretty people. Here's the thing. I'm going to tell you guys this. There's a lot of pretty people who cares. Who cares? What matters, it's cool. People that are like super nice and cool.
Starting point is 01:19:25 And she was super nice and cool. And she'll come to the show. And I believe she's coming to town for CMA Fest. Okay. That's real soon. Yeah, she was like, come on the show whenever. And I was like, just wait until you come to town. We're not in a hurry to get anybody on.
Starting point is 01:19:38 All right, we're good? Yeah. We're good. I hope the listeners like that bit. It's good. I have a lot of stories. Should I tell him who went to dinner with or no? Not right now.
Starting point is 01:19:48 Oh, yeah. Or is that too much name droppy? You be the judge, Amy, because I can hold it for a bit. Amy, you know this? Yeah, yeah. Is it too name dropy? I mean, I don't, I think if you're sharing it from a point of view of like, holy crap. Well, of course, it's holy crap.
Starting point is 01:20:00 I know, like, even when you were sharing it, when we were talking about it, I was just like, I don't even know if I texted to you. But in my head, I'm like, what is Bobby's life right now? And I know that you're thinking that too, so I don't think you're coming from a place like, oh. Mount Pine, Arkansas population of 700. Right. As long as it's coming from a place of, like, not like, oh, bragy, bragy, look who I went to dinner with, but more of a place of like, why was I even at this dinner and what the heck is happening?
Starting point is 01:20:26 Well, I know why I was there, but I didn't know that. Right, but like, what is my life right now? So I think it's fine and you should share. Yeah, I think we need to know now. I mean, because I was like, what's this person do? Like, listen, let me give away. Oh, it's multiple people. Well, some of them, though, make sense.
Starting point is 01:20:42 Yeah. It was lying old Luke and Katie. Makes sense. I work with them on American Idol. Yeah. But there's still crazy. There's more. There's more.
Starting point is 01:20:49 There's crazier? That's crazier. Yeah. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Listen. Because I was like, that's so random. Everybody listening to this show right now. If you're new to this show, let me explain something to you.
Starting point is 01:20:59 I'm a food stamp kid, population 700, graduate with a class of 40 people in Mount Pine, Arkansas. I was a yard sale for a school clothes kind of guy. And all the sudden, I'm at dinner with this person, and I'm going, life was crazy. I've been hanging out with Hannah. Halibama Hannah And then I'm in Weezer's trailer
Starting point is 01:21:16 Later on that night Oh yeah I haven't told that story yet And then I'm at dinner And I have to tell somebody The other person I can tell And them not thinking I'm bragging More like holy crap is Amy
Starting point is 01:21:27 So I'm like you'll never give someone I'll have a dinner with All right you'll tell us later Maybe But then also you should share Like everyone's at dinner With this person and this person And then say who you're with
Starting point is 01:21:36 Oh that's why I'm telling Because I was making fun of myself What are you with Okay more It's just so much. It's just like, oh, you're like, lo, la. Let me say this. I'm walking a fine line here because I come from everybody that's listening to the show.
Starting point is 01:21:54 Like, I'm that. But I've been working, and now I'm starting to go into Weird Land. And I get to do weird stuff now because some of my jobs allow me to be with people that are, like, super cool and famous. And I'm the one that's like, why am I here? But then I come up with great stories. and then have to be careful on what I share. Right. No, you tell us all of it.
Starting point is 01:22:15 You got to tell us all. Now, when you're with Lionel and Katie, who reaches for the bill? No, it's the American Idol. Oh, I was like, that could get awkward. Lionel is the best storyteller. You go somewhere with Lionel Richie? Just sit back. Oh, gosh, I can imagine.
Starting point is 01:22:28 He just sit back and he goes, the year, 1974. Aretha Franklin was that, right? And then music comes out of nowhere. By the way, the greatest guy. Maybe pound for pound the greatest human I've ever met is Lionel Richie. That's awesome. That little recap date. did of him hugging everybody
Starting point is 01:22:43 was so cute. I was like, oh my gosh, I didn't realize how many hugs he passed out. Possibly. The best human ever. Lano Ritchie. Starting point is 01:26:44 How do you say it? Eli. Oh, there's a big difference. Hi, Eli. How are you, bud? I'm doing good. How are you, bud? I'm real good, and I think you bring up a valid point
Starting point is 01:26:55 because I saw you texted the show, and this is not just a me thing, but it's a lot of artists. It's when you ever go to the concert problem. Talk about what you texted me, Eli. So, pretty much me and one of my best friends. We're talking about seeing you. And she was like, yeah, go ahead and get tickets. And my work schedule kind of didn't really allow me to get tickets at 10 o'clock. So I waited just a little
Starting point is 01:27:20 bit longer. And he's talking about for the raging idiots. Eddie and I are doing a music comedy tour, and the raging idiots are touring all through summer and fall. And so you couldn't get them right then. But then what happened? Yep. So went back, I don't know, a couple hours later, and they were all sold out. And only resale tickets were available for $299 a dollar. peace. Which is what I'd like to speak on, not just our situation, but in general. First of all, we aren't worth $299, so don't even think about that. I'll tell you what, too, Eli.
Starting point is 01:27:49 I'll put you on hold. What show were you going to? The Richmond Show? Yes, sir, the Richmond Show. If there are tickets left, if I can grab you a couple tickets, I know that show sold out, but let me put you on hold, and if there are, I'll get you a couple tickets for nothing. Oh, my gosh, man. Thanks so much.
Starting point is 01:28:03 Wait a minute before you start crowning me, Mr. Nice Guy of America. I need to make sure there are tickets left because sometimes they'll do holds but if so I'll do that but let me say this what happens is as soon as tickets go on sell to places any concert if they feel like the show is going to sell out or good seats
Starting point is 01:28:19 these scalpers go in they buy all the good seats they can as fast as possible and they just hold them and they resell them like crazy and it's not the artist's fault ever like let's say you want to see Luke Combs and you're like I couldn't get good Luke Combs tickets another $800
Starting point is 01:28:32 that's not Luke Combs's fault don't get mad at Luke Combs Luke Holmes just sells the tickets. And this is why ticket prices continue to go up because people go, well, I don't want people having to pay 500 bucks for tickets. So if we make our ticket a little more expensive, let's say Luke Combs goes, let's make our ticket $90. Would you go, well, that's crazy?
Starting point is 01:28:50 But he's like, well, because then maybe the scalpers won't buy all of them thinking they can sell them so fast. It's a weird thing. So don't be mad at the artist because the resale tickets are so much. Also, trick number two, if you wait to the day of the show, a lot of times they do releases on tickets. because they'll have holds, and then they put them out the day of.
Starting point is 01:29:09 It's a good life hat. Yeah, and just don't be mad at the artist when the resales are so bad. And I'm saying this about me, too, because I hate that happened. But that's just the general thing for a concert. So that's what it is. I hope you're not mad at me, Eli.
Starting point is 01:29:23 No, sir, no, not at all. And if you hold, I will get your number, and I will check. And if I have any tickets, I will make sure you get to come to the show. But if I don't, you will not get to come to the show. I'm just laying that all out there right now. I just want to be as honest as possible, bud.
Starting point is 01:29:36 Not a problem at all. Thanks, Liz. Hey, I appreciate you listening. I hope that was kind of an explanation of what happened, and hopefully I'll see you soon. I'm going to put you on hold. Don't hang up. Yes, sir. Okay, there he is. But that's the case.
Starting point is 01:29:48 And that happens a lot of times now. You try to get tickets, and they're like four times a ticket amount. Yeah. Because scalpers buy them and go, oh, these are going to be in demand in three weeks. Or sometimes like ours, because a lot of our sold super quick, day of the show. So, anyway, there's that.
Starting point is 01:30:02 We do have the girl group coming up in a second. Oh, let me mention this. Come to our show. Go to Raging Idiots.com. Denver and Chicago, where we start this whole thing off. Austin's almost sold out. Little Rock.
Starting point is 01:30:14 There's a lot of cities. Raging Idiots.com. We're going to talk about wedding dresses in a second, and what do you do with your wedding dress after the divorce? That's on the way. What? It's a thing. Yeah, we're going to bring the girl group in for that.
Starting point is 01:30:26 Also, Amy saw Avengers. Yeah. I saw Avengers. Thoughts? I thought it was really good. And my kids loved it. And I just thought it was too long. Too long.
Starting point is 01:30:38 Too long. I kept hearing, oh, it's three hours. You won't even know it. No, I knew it. Yeah, me too. I knew it. I knew it. Two hours and one minute in, I was like, is this already three hours?
Starting point is 01:30:49 Yeah. No, my daughter was so into it. Like, she loves movies and she loved it. But like, when it first started in time, I tell her three hours, but she doesn't really know that that's that long. So she had to pee at the very beginning, but it started and she didn't want to miss a thing. So when the credit started rolling, she got up and made a B-line for the bathroom. And I'm like, why didn't you get up and go?
Starting point is 01:31:09 She goes, I didn't want to miss anything. So she held it the entire movie. Ugh, like, not me. Young bladders. Well, no. But, I mean, I'm just not that into it to where I, like, can't take a quick bathroom break. I won't go to the bathroom in a movie. For no circumstance, I will not go to the bathroom in a movie.
Starting point is 01:31:26 In one of those fight scenes, you could have totally gone to the bathroom, come back, and they would have still been fighting. It's true. Take it the paper. Yes. Read all on Twitter. Sadd? I was like, yeah, just cut a little bit out of here. I could trim down that movie so fast.
Starting point is 01:31:42 47 minutes. I could have done it in like one episode, but maybe two episodes of the office. Same thing. But the Avengers was good. It was good. I never cried, though. I mean, neither. I didn't either.
Starting point is 01:31:54 Really? Yeah, I thought, okay, I'm waiting for it, waiting for it. But I think honestly, I was just like, I'm so ready to just go. Emmy cried when the credits roll. Thank you. I'm so happy But yeah, I didn't cry And I thought
Starting point is 01:32:08 Is something wrong with me right now Because I'm a feeler Like I should be crying Mine didn't cry I didn't either Yeah But it was good I get what did you give it
Starting point is 01:32:18 What letter grade? That's not do like number of thores Oh Do like letter grade though for real Letter grade On the same time Ready? One two three
Starting point is 01:32:27 B plus Oh wow I didn't go A plus But I went A Okay I want B plus Yeah That was good
Starting point is 01:32:33 I love, but I love, like, I love Iron Man, I love Captain America. You know, they're like two of my favorite. Those movies aside them by themselves, so I love when they're all hanging out together. I never saw the Captain Marvel one, so she shows up and I'm like, who is this lady? Oh. There's just like a random hero that showed up. But yeah, it was good. I recommend it, but there was a lot of hype.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Yeah. Yeah. And I avoided the spoiler for like a month, and I was proud of myself. I know. Yeah, I know. I don't want to ruin it. We're working in a temporary studio until our new studio gets built. So another May 21st.
Starting point is 01:33:10 So June. A month and a half? Yeah. This place is so hot. No, it feels amazing. It's like a sauna in here. I can make a colder. How can I, am I supposed to wear three sweaters and feel good?
Starting point is 01:33:21 Okay, yeah, remove your sweatshers. Easy. Are you trying to get me naked in here? No. Is that the plan? Oh, Amy. You guys want me to be less clock? Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:29 Nope. By the way. Just try not to work in a cooler. I'm going to tell you, now that I'm going to be. done with all the TV stuff for a while. I'm about to go full. Well, then, yeah, then you won't be so cold. That's also another reason, right?
Starting point is 01:33:40 Or why you want it cold? I'm so skinny. I don't know. Never mind. That would be the opposite. Never mind. Yeah, exactly. Don't eat. Don't eat. I'm going to warm in here. Glad everybody's here. I got this for you. So this is mostly about a wedding dress
Starting point is 01:33:56 and then what happens. I'll read you this if you don't mind. Bobby. Hey, this is a mailbag, so why don't I make this a mailbag before we get to the girl group here. All right, so the question is, Bobby, what do I do with my wedding dress after a divorce? And so she goes on, she goes, I thought maybe the girls on the show could help me. I got divorced last year after being married for three years. I just got to the point where I'm genuinely happy in my life again.
Starting point is 01:34:26 I moved to a new house and was going through my old things whenever I found my wedding dress. I've been trying to decide what to do with it. I wonder what the girls on the show would do. This is from an email. Would you donate it or sell it to another bride? Or do you feel like the wedding dress is cursed? All right. So that's the mailbag.
Starting point is 01:34:45 Bobby's mailbag. And with that email, we're bringing in the girl group here, who is Amy, Morgan number two, and Utility Hillary. Here they are. There they are. They have all the answers. Should I hold on to it for sentimental reasons or trash it? That's what the email says.
Starting point is 01:35:04 First of all, Amy, how are you? Hey, I'm doing good. I am 38. I almost said I was 37. But I'm 38 years old. I've been married 12 years, and I am currently sipping a macho latte. Which, by the way, you know what? I don't know what a macho latte is.
Starting point is 01:35:24 It's green, though, right? Macha's green tea. It's a green tea powder. I've been getting this machin latte little smoothie because, in your honor. You haven't even died. But I have it in your honor. Okay. And it's not so bad.
Starting point is 01:35:35 I don't even know what's good about it, but I think if Amy has it. There's a lot of antioxidants and matcha that are good for you. A lot of times in my life, I do WWA-A-D. What would Amy do? Got it. Thank you. Morgan number two, how are you? Doing good.
Starting point is 01:35:47 I am 25 years old, and I'm very single, very, you know, dating. What happened to that five-time dude? He's still in the picture, but I'm still very single. You've been out with a dude five times and you're still very single? That's not how it works. I am, you know. Are you going to go out of sixth time with him? Yes, but I'm going to sloth mode, remember?
Starting point is 01:36:07 So to me, I'm still very single. Sloth mode. That's funny. Yeah, I'm recently obsessed with the artist Lizzo because I'm just feeling that girl power right now. Man, that's a good record, huh? So good. So good.
Starting point is 01:36:20 That's good. And over to my right, she does a lot of things. She works in the glass room. She works in the production room. She's all over. That's what we call her utility, Hillary, not like Bob the Builder, but more so like utility Hillary.
Starting point is 01:36:31 There she is. Hillary, how are you? I'm good. I'm 26. And even though I work for a morning show, I am not a morning person at all. Same with me. Not at all. Not at all. I can't go to sleep at night. I can't be not even here right now. I'm just in another place in my head. I'm in bed. Okay, let's go here. The question is, what does she do with their wedding dress? Amy, you heard the email? Your thoughts? Well, I don't think a particular item of clothing can be cursed. And for me, I would hold on to it just in case. Like, it's still like a huge part of your life. Like, you got married. that's like a big thing that happened and I know divorce is not any fun at all but I would just still hold on to it in the back of my closet put it in a bag put it in the attic you don't have to look at it all the time but just have it just in case what if what if you rekindle things of this person and you'll have a second marriage you could re-wear it or I don't know if you've got kids but like my mom got divorced but she still had the wedding dress that she married my dad in and I always thought it was cool that she still had it as her kid now they were married three years. Don't know if they have kids, but I'm also thinking of that angle, too, of like,
Starting point is 01:37:36 just holding on to something that was part of, like, a really big day, even if it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. Morgan number two? I'm going with Trashit. I am all about good and bad vibes and that, like, a divorce is bad vibes to me. And she says she's in a great place in her life. And keeping it means that she, you know, she has to keep that bad energy around her. And I think if she gets rid of it, she can 100% move on, doesn't have to think about it again, just going on with her life. Over to the girl group Hillary, utility Hillary, your thoughts? I would say donated. I feel like there are so many brides out there who can't afford
Starting point is 01:38:10 a wedding dress. Weddings are so expensive. So if the dress doesn't really mean anything to and you're looking to get rid of it, I would 100% say donate it to somebody. All right, we have three options here. Jessica and Ohio, what do you think? I'm going to say that you should burn it and bury the assets. Okay, so you just want to end the line. life of the dress because you've ended the life of the marriage. Oh, exactly. The marriage is dead, so the dress deserves a proper burial as well. Wow.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Okay. So spiteful. I mean, probably so. He's a jerk, right? We don't know. It's always the guy's fault, in my opinion. Carrie in Nashville, what do you think? Good morning, sunshine. I left mine in the closet after I took all my clothes out in 13 years' marriage and he can do whatever you want with it.
Starting point is 01:38:58 So you just left it to him? Yeah, I didn't need it. I didn't want it. I don't look backwards. I look forward and I was like, you know what? This is going to stay right here. Okay, Shelly and Virginia. Hi, how are you?
Starting point is 01:39:11 Good. I didn't mean to hang up another caller. I hit the wrong button. New studio. Sorry. Sorry, last caller. My bad. Go ahead, Shelly.
Starting point is 01:39:18 I sold my wedding dress to another bride at a yard kill for $25. Oh, wow. Did you sell it reasonably priced? Because to you, that's about what that, marriage was worth $25 bucks? Perhaps. Yes. But I just, I wanted to get rid of it, so I thought that was a fair price.
Starting point is 01:39:37 Okay. Well, hey, thank you very much for joining in on the girl group discussion. Thanks for listening. Yep. All right. Bye-bye. Listen, everyone. We're here.
Starting point is 01:39:44 You all have three different opinions. I think all are reasonable, except for Amy's. What? Why are you just going to hang it up and look at it? I didn't say hang it up and look at it. I said. Why are you going to make a whole exhibit at your house? Don't twist what I said.
Starting point is 01:39:57 You charge people $5. Come look at it. Whoa, it's not what I said. You're being a hoarder, and you're holding on to a bad memory. I mean, I guess it doesn't necessarily spark joy. Yeah, Marie Kondo. But, like I said... Amy, you lose.
Starting point is 01:40:12 Our two winners today are Morgan number two and Hillary. Okay. I just want... One, it's a bit hoarding. And two... It's one dress. It's not hoarding. And you can put it away.
Starting point is 01:40:24 I mean, what if you need a wedding dress one day or something? Can you imagine if Amy you'd been married before and I was like, hey Amy, let's get married. And you're like, yeah, and you showed up in a dress. I'd be like, what? Not for like your own new wedding, but, you know, something else. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home at something good.
Starting point is 01:40:45 Man, this is the story about you save a life and then I'm going to save a life. These two veterinarians, they had a kid that was born with a hole in his heart, had to have a seven-hour surgery. So the surgeon performs the surgery, kids okay. Well, come to find out the surgeon's dog has the exact same conditions. So the vet said, hey, you saved our son's life. Bring the dog on over. Are you kidding me? And they perform the surgery and save the dog's life.
Starting point is 01:41:10 Wow. Wow. And now the kid and the dog are our best friends. Of course they are. They have to be. That's a rule. You have to be together now. That's a good one.
Starting point is 01:41:19 That's a good one. That was tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right.
Starting point is 01:41:33 Now, here we are you. Turn it up. Do you watch the Old Town Road music video? I haven't, no. It's funny. Do I need to? I guess so. Okay.
Starting point is 01:41:43 Yeah, Tim and Billy Ray, and they're funny. And that song, listen, all the country music established when I can hate on it all they want. It's such a good song. It's so funny. Billy Ray's Iris is in it. Just watch the video. I was reading the story about it, and apparently Lil Nas X spent only $30 to record that song when he first did it.
Starting point is 01:42:02 Awesome. And he bought the beat off of YouTube. Wow. Wait, so what did Kiyo do? Kio. I think Kio produced it. Okay, okay. Because that's why the name Kiyo is yelled in there.
Starting point is 01:42:14 Yeah, here. Billy Ray hops in. I mean, good for Billy Ray, too, hopping in there. I just got a text here that says, please please. play Flame by Lane Hardy, that song is a bop. I don't know that I've ever heard of this song. I'll be honest with you. I was on stage when he was singing it. You don't hear crap up there.
Starting point is 01:42:33 He wins American Idol and you sing the original song. I never heard it prior. And then they're like, hey, you should walk on stage with all the top ten and like dance. And it don't only hear anything. And so I still have yet to hear the Lane Hardy song who won American Idol. So I guess if it's up, Mike D, you can put it up?
Starting point is 01:42:49 I'd be anxious to give it a listen. All right. And my idol time comes to an end as far as this season. It was great. I'd tell you the coolest story from the finale was we were, we had about a 30 minute break because I did a bunch in the first three segments. I was like, hey, they're going to be good. That's what they need to do. I talked with Ryan and they let me promote the raging idiots tour on American Idol, which by the way, which by the way, they were just throwing me a bone.
Starting point is 01:43:13 They were being so nice. They were like, Bobby, go talk about whatever you want. And I'm like, it's the finale of American Idol. They're like, take 30 minutes, not 30 minutes, 30 seconds, go up with Ryan and talk about the raging idiots. tour and how you're taking Walker Burrows out. And I'm like, is this on the internet or on TV? It's just a joke. And they're like on TV. And so I'm up and like, hey, the raging idiots, raging idiots.orgianidies.com. Go all over. We're playing everywhere. And you have so nice to them.
Starting point is 01:43:38 And so after that, there were so many people that were playing the show, like Dan and Shay. So I went over to their trailer and talked to them because they're like OG friends. And so talk to them. I talked to Carrie for a little bit. She was in the back and she was, and Carrie's the nicest. And the thing with Carrie was, because she's so nice, Madison, the girl who's in the top three, was like, I would love to meet Carrie Underwood, like, just have a conversation. And I knew Carrie's about five minutes from going on, and I was like, well, let me go check.
Starting point is 01:44:10 And so I ended up to Carrie, and I was like, hey, talk for a minute. And I said, I would talk to, she's, of course, this is how nice Carrie Underwood is. And this one, nobody was watching, by the way. She first talks to Madison, just moments before she goes to perform. on stage in front of 10 million people watching on American Idol. And then she comes off stage and she walked to the little room where all the contestants of myself and the cameras are. And she just takes pictures with everybody for like 10 minutes.
Starting point is 01:44:37 She could have easily just put her ears back in or it got and walked out. But she didn't. And she didn't have to and there were no cameras. And she talked to them all. And, you know, I think a lot of the stuff that these super nice artists do, they don't do it to be seen and it's never heard of. But I got to witness Carrie being so nice to a bunch of kids who, just wanted to meet Carrie Underwood.
Starting point is 01:44:56 And she did. She sat there with them for as long as they wanted to talk. That's awesome. Yeah, and then she went about her way. But Carrie was so kind. And for me, Weezer was there playing, and I love Weezer. I love, love, love Weezer. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 01:45:12 Well, here's the thing. Uh-oh. No, I don't know. There's no, uh-oh. But I have my own producer on Eric and Ida, who is just my producer. Her and I are together all season, and she's also a Weezer fan. and so she was like, what's your favorite album? And I was like, well, the blue one, because that's when I was a kid.
Starting point is 01:45:29 I was a teenager, and Rivers was a nerd, and I wore my glasses, because basically him and buddy Holly. She was like, okay, and so I get there, and she buys a vinyl of the blue album, and she loved the green album. And so she was like, we're going to go to their trailer, because I was talking to John Pardy, he was there playing at Weezer. And so we go up to Weezer's trailer and knock on the door.
Starting point is 01:45:51 And if you're just cool, everybody just assumes you should be there just in general in life. If you just act like you're supposed to be somewhere, people are just like oh, you're supposed to be here too, cool. So I knock on the Weezer trailer and on the inside my heart's like this. But on the outside I'm like,
Starting point is 01:46:05 what's up, Weas? Just to be here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's that Weez are? So it's cool, right? And so I know who all four of the guys in the band are. So I'm like, what's up? I'm just going to go there. And so since...
Starting point is 01:46:20 So you just walk on the trailer? Well, I see one of them outside, and I say, what up to him? I was like, this is my move. I'm like, everybody else inside? And he's like, yeah. I'm going to go up and say hello. Oh, my gosh. And he's like, I feel awkward for you.
Starting point is 01:46:33 He's like, cool, cool. Again, I would do this to so few people, but I love Weezer. And so I'm like, so I do this too where I don't just knock and wait. I go and open the room. Everybody, everybody good? Everybody decent? They're like, yeah, come on in. Because I just think I'm supposed to be there.
Starting point is 01:46:50 So I walk in the trailer. This guy must be filling up our fridge. It's restocking our stuff. And since I know the other people in the band too, like know who they are, I'm like, what's that? Hey, you haven't seen you in a bit. And it's like, and a bit they're confused, but a bit they're like, oh, this guy knows every. I guess he's supposed to be here. And so I'm like, hey, I was like, can I get this?
Starting point is 01:47:10 I guess somebody wants to get to, it's me. Okay. I was like, I got. Oh my gosh. I was like, is there was somebody else? Was his name Bobby? I was like, little boy, he's been sick. I didn't do that
Starting point is 01:47:23 But I was like, hey, I came up here I don't, just get to, you know my guys mind signing this for him and so they all sign and I have a conversation with a couple of them and Rivers is practicing right beside you. Yeah, Rivers Cuomo and he's got his black glasses on and he's like washing his hands but he puts his guitar on and he's singing Africa just in the trailer
Starting point is 01:47:42 like warming his voice up and I'm going, holy crap, I'm standing next to Rivers as he's singing Africa and he thinks I'm like his bud. He doesn't know from where but he thinks I'm like his butt. And so I say what up and I was like hey man have a good show I gotta go back out and I did the whole thing I got to go back out and be on the show too
Starting point is 01:48:01 and I'm trying to be cool and so they were like all right man see you out there and so I got the blue album signed and my producer Tar I got the heard of the green album signed and I was like all right gave him the bro hugs and then I walked
Starting point is 01:48:17 out the trailer we walked away and she was like well that was the weirdest thing I said you just act like you belong people don't want to tell you you don't yeah they're nervous to go you don't belong here if you act like you do so was she sort of there with you or her headset on to oh you so you looks like totally official
Starting point is 01:48:32 well she never takes it off in case they're like we need Bobby here at this point right but she had a clipboard and a headset and we totally went and I was just like all right we're about to be part of the group and they believed it and it was awesome and I didn't get a picture no pictures because if you get a picture then you're not one of the group
Starting point is 01:48:48 you're a fan at that point right and so I was like I'll write all right, all right. Yeah. Cool, cool, cool. All good, all good. I was like, hey, guys, have a good set. I got to get back.
Starting point is 01:48:56 Got to get back on the show. And then I saw them. They were walking inside. And they were still confused as to who I was, but they felt like they shouldn't have been confused. And they were like, what's up? What's up? They were like, staying high as I walked by again.
Starting point is 01:49:06 And I was like, have a good deal. Anyway, that was it. Wow. And so I posted on my answer story, Mr. Bobby Bones. I may not be up anymore. But I was like, I'm going to go find Weezer. And then I just posted a picture of the signed record. I was like, because I was with them and I couldn't ask for a picture.
Starting point is 01:49:21 But I'm a, like, I'm a fan. I'm still a fan boy of so many people, and that's one of them. I was risking it, though. You're going to all or nothing when you just walk up in no place. Oh, yeah. You're either going to get tackled or they're going to make you part of the baby. Yeah. And I was hoping they'd be like, hey, you want to come do some background vocals?
Starting point is 01:49:36 I thought when Rivers was warming up, you were starting with them. I thought you're going to do a little harmonies. I was so, I was so into. Can I take me a lot of a lot of everything. And they'd be like, that sounds good, man. Wow, why don't you? you want to hop on? But Walker Burroughs
Starting point is 01:49:51 who's out on the American Idol or on the raging idiots tour with Eddie and I sang with Weezer. Like he got to sing with them. And I was like, boy, you're taking a big step back. You're going from singing with Weaser to touring with raging idiots.
Starting point is 01:50:03 But it was funny. That's a funny story too. I wouldn't recommend that all the time. I've only done that a couple times ever I just show up somewhere and I'm like, yeah, everybody good, let me get some potato chips. You got to soap it in. Right.
Starting point is 01:50:16 And you sort of already I mean, you belonged on that set. You had a producer with you. Like, you already belonged. Like, I would encourage someone who didn't have access to anything to try to, like, weasel their way in there. Like, sometimes people just walk up on a microphone
Starting point is 01:50:28 just sit in the studio and be like, I'm here from my talk. We don't know who they are, but we're like, okay. All right, why not, Morgan number two? Have a seat. Yeah. All right, there. Also hung out with
Starting point is 01:50:38 Oh, Montel Jordan? Yeah. Wow. Guys, he is so tall. He may be six, seven or six eight. He's a monster Nice guy But I did the
Starting point is 01:50:52 He knew I wasn't part of his group He knew right away Yeah yeah yeah This guy doesn't like yo yo yo He is 6 8 Wow 6 8 That's crazy Yeah yeah Montel Montel
Starting point is 01:51:02 There was a zero chance I was walking into Montel's trailer I'm being like Yo guys what's up You guys still good Because they'd have been like Wait what And so
Starting point is 01:51:11 Yeah the Wieser thing a little different Yeah because I kind of look like them Like I'm nerdy and geeky. Montel's crew was cool. So it was the whole thing. But he was super nice. I guess I can post a picture on like Twitter or Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones. And he's super nice.
Starting point is 01:51:29 His wife was super nice. Talked for them for a while. And he came out and did that song on Idaho and up and alley. This is how we do it. Over to Laura in Texas. What's happening in Laura in Texas? Hi. This is Laura.
Starting point is 01:51:50 Bobby listening to the show over the first time and I'm loving it. Gonna keep on listening. Wait, first time ever? Yep. Not that I'm shocked by a first time ever. Listen, but usually nobody likes us the first time. Because we don't have...
Starting point is 01:52:02 Well, hold on. Let me explain, Laura. Before you are so stunned, we don't have good radio voices. We're just basically a group of friends sitting around a table. We don't really... Sometimes we don't even play songs. Sometimes we play a lot of songs.
Starting point is 01:52:18 There just isn't really a formula to what we do. and people get annoyed because we're not like, you know, big voice DJs or like a big corporate put together show, you know? I think that's what I love. Hmm, interesting. I really liked it. I work from home, so I'm never in the car in the morning,
Starting point is 01:52:34 and today I'm in the car in the morning, and I'm, yeah, I'm enjoying it. Not only was it's your first listen. You called the show and got through on your first time? I did. Wow. Come on. Come on. You recognized a voice in the show.
Starting point is 01:52:46 You recognized a voice? I did. I recognized a voice. And I said, I know that voice. And I Googled y'all. And the lunchbox. Are you from Austin? No, I'm from San Antonio.
Starting point is 01:52:58 Oh, did you go to college with lunchbox? Oh, she might have. UTSA. Let's see. I know I could say a certain way that he would remember me, but I literally wrapped his car in newspaper one time, and he was on the shuttle when he saw it. Everybody was like, who's car is that wrapped in newspaper?
Starting point is 01:53:15 He's winking. Oh, I got it. He's winging at me right now. Did you guys make out? No, we didn't make out. No. She lived in the same door. as me and it was a very, uh, it's a good prank. Yeah, I know who this is. Yeah. Well, this is, yeah,
Starting point is 01:53:26 we did a little bit of a prank wars in college. Well, there you have it. And you remember lunchbox? What was he like at UTSA? I was awesome. No, I was asking her. Oh, I thought you're asking me. He was sweet and very bad posture as well. Very bad posture. He still walks with the hunch, so some things never change. Sweet and bad posture. Well, listen, Laura, we appreciate you and thanks for listening and thanks for calling. That's really nice of you. Awesome. Have a good one.
Starting point is 01:53:56 All right. See you later. There you go. How about that? I watched Game of Thrones last night. I know you guys aren't big thronesers. Couldn't have loved it more. I know everybody's a hater.
Starting point is 01:54:06 They have this whole thing where they were like, let's make all the writers rewrite the season. That's not how it works. It's not choose your own adventure. You watch a show and then you can choose to like it or not like it. But I tend to like when things don't work out like everyone wants them to work. work out? Because that's how life is. Life is like that.
Starting point is 01:54:23 We don't get to do what we always want to do. Sometimes a little bit happens. Sometimes it does. But I am the greatest at avoiding spoilers. Didn't know what happened. And the question was how long until you spoil something. And if it's a news event, if it's big enough to be on the news, which Game of Thrones was, even if it's on the front of CNN.com, what happened?
Starting point is 01:54:43 Then there's, I'm not going to talk about it. But you can, it's okay to talk about it. If it's the Super Bowl, you can talk about it. If it's a live event, the American Idol finale, you can talk about it. The ending of Friends, you can talk about it to that level. If it's a movie, not. Because not everybody's there in a movie. You have to go to a movie.
Starting point is 01:55:05 So, we have big ratings. If you add in all the replays and early streaming, because I only watch it on streaming. I don't even know what channel. I don't watch how anything is. HBO. I just yell on my TV at this point. Yeah, HBO. No, but I mean, I don't know what channel it is on the...
Starting point is 01:55:20 Oh, like the number. Yeah. Oh. And I'm so lazy now. This is how lazy I am with TV. I get my remote at home, for some reason you could push a button and just yell at it. And by the way, I used to push the button and then yell at the TV. I didn't realize the speaker's in the remote.
Starting point is 01:55:35 I was sure you were doing it really loud. And it would change. But then one of my friends over at the house the other day, and I was like, game and throat! It was like, dude, your microphone's in your remote. Why are you yelling at the TV? and then I'd be like, Game of Thrones, please. And it was so much more efficient
Starting point is 01:55:49 and changing over. Yeah. And so I was in a hotel last week in California doing that show. And the fact that I couldn't yell at my remote and talk to it made me so mad.
Starting point is 01:56:00 I just watched Martin on BET for a week. I never changed it because I couldn't talking to my remote. Who knows that? What do those numbers mean? How do you find channels anymore? Well, hotels have those little menus that would be like...
Starting point is 01:56:13 The paper menu? Yeah. No, no, that tells you. Oh, okay, yeah. And Mario Lopez talks to you the whole time. Yes, as soon as he turned on. Yeah, as soon as he turned out, it's like, hey, I'm Mario Lopez. Yeah, how did you get that game?
Starting point is 01:56:24 And here are all the movies coming out this week, March 3rd, 1999. And you're like, this is not even current. Why am I? So, I don't know. The Game of Thrones, I loved it. It was great. The end, no spoiling. Did that last night as soon as I got home.
Starting point is 01:56:39 Got off a plane. Didn't even exercise. Felt I needed a night off. And did the Game of Thrones. Then slept like a baby. That's awesome. I took a pill though. But I still slept like a...
Starting point is 01:56:51 I was like, oh, yay, he didn't even need medicine. All my time zones are off. So I'm not going to lie, but I did sleep good, woke up feeling good this morning. After the finale of American Idol, most of the cool people get, have a car service. And now I just call it Uber because I'd rather just Uber and save the money. So I go, do, do, do you hit my phone, Uber. car pulls up, jump in it, we go. And then we're supposed to go to this restaurant
Starting point is 01:57:18 and have this dinner. And we're going, and I don't really know my way around Los Angeles. I'm not a Los Angeles guy. But I'm like, I don't think this is the right way. But I don't want to question the Uber driver. He's the expert. Would you go to the doctor and be like,
Starting point is 01:57:31 ooh, don't poke me there? Right, no. You wouldn't do that. You let him poke. Yeah. Wherever he wants. Wherever, right. Or she.
Starting point is 01:57:38 Yeah, thank you. And so we're going. And I'm like, I should. say something. I hate to question an expert. And I'm like, hey, I think we're going the wrong direction. And when I get in the Uber, I'm always scared now that I'm not getting in it. So I always go, Uber, and they go, yes, and then I get in. Because you know I'm jumping the wrong car, just have a car that's not even Uber. That's smart. I just get in.
Starting point is 01:58:03 I know. Well, I don't, because I'm smart. You are. Like, I need to be more cautious. And I open the door, I'm like, Uber? And he goes, yes. And then I get in, and away we go. We're going the wrong way. We're going the wrong way. And I go, I don't think we're going the right way. And he goes, we're going to Burbank, right? And I was like, no. And he turned around and looks at me and he goes, are you not Jacqueline? No.
Starting point is 01:58:27 No. And I was like, of course not. What did you think? What Jacqueline looks like me. Yeah. Like, Jack. Has you ever had a Jacqueline in your life that looks like a nerd, you know? Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:58:42 So what did y'all do? He had to turn it. Actually, it was quite a process. You have to turn it off the Uber on his thing. Then I got to take all my clothes off. Oh. He's like, just following here. You got to take an advantage of. That's not part of it. He has to turn it off and you got to redo the thing and pick you up. But yeah. And I guess when I got in the car, we made eye contact. And I said, Uber? He assumed. He didn't say Jacqueline? He assumed that was another California Jacqueline. It's L.A. So we got there And then you went to dinner And then are you going to talk about dinner?
Starting point is 01:59:16 Yeah, I can't Yeah, yes, yes, yes You should? You sure? Yeah, I think it's fine. Okay, let me get my button ready here. Mike, can you go ahead my name? Oh yeah, yeah, there's like so many named drops.
Starting point is 01:59:29 He knew exactly where I was going Mike took his hand and put it on my hand and led me right to this button. Name drop! Okay, for those that haven't been listened to the show long, my name is Bobby. I never got to do a bunch of cool things in life. Now, I get to do some cool things.
Starting point is 01:59:45 And we finished the American Idol finale, and they say, we're going to this dinner. I don't know who's going to the dinner. I don't know if it's like all the crew, all my producers, I don't know if all the singers were going. And they're like, you're going to this place. So drive over to the place, I get out, and there's a big guy at the door.
Starting point is 02:00:04 Nice. Of a restaurant. Okay, I didn't know if y'all were at a house or a restaurant. No house at a restaurant. and full black and not a t-shirt but almost like a t-suito without the tie
Starting point is 02:00:12 wow this is like the movies and you know we mean business and I get out and he goes uh bones and I'm like yeah and so we get to and they're like you can bring a date
Starting point is 02:00:20 with you and again I don't know how heavy this is and so I'm like all right I'll bring somebody with me so we go and he's like
Starting point is 02:00:31 come with me and we walk to the restaurant and he's like don't look around because people are eating he's like just walks so walk walk walk walk going to it
Starting point is 02:00:37 It's private table. And guess who's the first one there? Me, like an idiot. Yeah. I'm the first one at everything. The two executive producers were there, the people that run the show. But I was the first part. So it's me, Luke and his wife.
Starting point is 02:00:52 It's basically it's the judges, right? It's me, Luke, and Caroline, who I know well, and Lionel and his girl, and Katie Perry and Orlando Bloom. Oh, whoa. Yeah. What? Yeah. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:07 Wow! Yeah. Let me tell you, that nice-as guy. Really? Best-looking guy. Is that British accent? Nice-est guy? I don't even know what accent it is.
Starting point is 02:01:16 I don't care. It's a Atlanta-Bloom accent. It was like whoever wanted that night, because him or Alabama, Hannah, I would have been happy with that day. Now they're one of them. They're both pretty. But, yeah, I told Amy, I don't know if I was even going to say this on the air. I won't say what, you know, any of the conversation or anything, but he was super nice and super super chill.
Starting point is 02:01:35 And everybody just sat around and talked. And Lionel's the greatest, nicest human being ever. And that's it. So like what, hmm. Do you order when you're in a meal like that? No, there was no ordering. They're just bringing food out like it's, really? They're just like, boom, sit in front of you.
Starting point is 02:01:53 They ever, yeah. Is it like family style? Nope. Oh, no? No one's passing the plates. Hey, Lionel. Hey, Orlando. You know those meatballs over there?
Starting point is 02:02:02 Hey, Bigo. None of that. Yo, Bloom. But, yeah, really, really, it came up to, everybody was saying hi and buying. I was like, hey, man, really nice to meet you at the beginning. I was like, hey, I'm Bobby. He goes, oh, he goes, I know who you are. Or what, is that a pirate?
Starting point is 02:02:18 I trust you. Super nice. But I was sitting there eating and I'm like, man, kids in high school wouldn't have picked on me so much. They knew I was sitting next to. Exactly. What was he in? He's from. Pirates of the Caribbean.
Starting point is 02:02:29 All these movies. And he's from United Kingdom. Yeah. I've never seen that movie. UK. He's from Canterbury. Is that where the chocolates are from? The rabbit.
Starting point is 02:02:39 I should have brought that up with them. Hey, man. We're trying to find things we're in common with. Dude, I love Easter. Let me tell you, you brought a lot of joy in my Easter. Wow. Yeah, so it's crazy. So who was your date?
Starting point is 02:02:54 Oh, Tom, my friend. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, I know. That was Bobby's date. Every single person there. Had like a date date. Had like a date date. Caroline.
Starting point is 02:03:04 If I had anyone. that if I even had anyone, I would have taken them because I didn't really, especially if I didn't know I was going to look cool, because I ain't so cool. And, but yeah, Tom's like, works like my management, whatever. And I was like, hey, man, just come. We'll just go, like, chill. And we get there and everybody's got their date and I have Tom. I mean, he was so awkward too. What am I doing here? It wasn't awkward, but I was the only one that's a loser. Well, at least Tom's cool. Yeah. Yes, yes. Yeah. Wow. Here I show up. with Tom who, you know.
Starting point is 02:03:38 Did people think you and Tom? Tom, you and Tom? Oh, I don't think they thought we were like a gay A gay couple. Well, I mean, Orlando just met you. I've been happy if they would. At least I wouldn't look so lonely. I just had to bring my buddy.
Starting point is 02:03:53 I'd rather than think like, I guess Bobby brought his boyfriend. This is cool. No. And then they're like, I guess Bobby doesn't have anyone. So, I know. Basically cool. And then I just, here's the,
Starting point is 02:04:05 the true story to it. I just don't do super. I don't feel like I fit in with people that are way cool. Yeah. It's a different level. Because I left that party when it was over
Starting point is 02:04:16 and everybody went home. I went to the crew party with like all the staff and I was like, now I'm rocking. Now I'm in my element. These are, you know, the working bees like me.
Starting point is 02:04:26 Yeah. So anyway, that was, that's fun, huh? Mm-hmm. That's good. I love it. All right. That's a wrap for that.
Starting point is 02:04:34 We go with that segment? Yeah. That's my new way to get out of segments. Are we good with that segment? Yeah. I guess there's anything else anybody wants to say, right? Yes, I agree. We're good?
Starting point is 02:04:42 Yeah. Here are your top three songs in country music this week. Actually, at number three, it's whiskey glasses. I'm going to need some whiskey glasses because I don't want to save the truth. I'm going to know. Yeah, I'm a nice. At number two, Kane Brown, good as you. I just want to wake up every day here.
Starting point is 02:05:13 that's a jam huh? You guys like that much or is it just me that loves that one? No, it's good. It's my favorite of his songs. It might
Starting point is 02:05:23 take a hundred lifetime to do but baby I just want to be good as you There you And then number one this week Eli Young band Love An
Starting point is 02:05:38 The biggest pop song is Dancing with a Stranger from Sam Smith and Normani Oh, baby, baby I'm dancing with a stranger That's me every time I go to a club And Morgan number two Like Morgan help me, I'm dancing
Starting point is 02:06:01 With a stranger Oddly, like dudes that are fans of the show I want to come up and like dance and talk And like they don't know how to talk While I'm on the dance force So they just start dancing with me It's a little odd Not the dancing with a dude
Starting point is 02:06:15 I'll dance with anybody Like just we're all dancing around but it's like, hey, I'm a big fan. I'm like, cool. I don't know they'd like talk to the side where you have to dance. Yeah, that's awkward. Yeah, yeah. So they just start like, they're like, hey, can I get a selfie?
Starting point is 02:06:28 I'm like, absolutely. Because then maybe we'll stop dancing, you know. That's always a weird thing. And listen, I love when people come up and listen to the show. But yeah, yeah. And I am now at the point in my life where I'm comfortable just to go dance by myself. Would you go with that Morgan number two? Yeah, oh yeah, definitely.
Starting point is 02:06:43 I just go dance. And then I guess I leave openings. And so, you know, Harold comes. up. He was like, hey, big fan of the show. And instead of standing there while I'm dancing, he just dances with me. Yeah, a little bit. It's like, Harold. Yeah, it's like, what's up, Harold. What an old man name. You're like 24. How about, let's see, hip hop. Look back at it, the number one song, Look back at it from A Boogie with the hoodie. Okay. A boogie with the hoodie. He sounds like a booger, doesn't it?
Starting point is 02:07:13 Yeah. A boogie with a hoodie. A boogie. Oh, yeah. She ain't never do this before, but she got it. And the number one comedy song, Jesus Know is from The Raging Idiots. Look at us. Look at that. Jesus had lied at 2 a.m.
Starting point is 02:07:30 Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Jesus knows. When you fill your water cup with soda, because nothing gets past him. When you think nobody's watching and you're all alone. You're wrong. Because Jesus knows. You can download that and stream that.
Starting point is 02:07:49 How about that? Those are your big songs this week. There's a new episode of the Bobbycast that's up. It's an interview show that I do from my house. And Judah from Judah and the Lion came by. Is this song with Casey Musgraves called Pictures? This is a big one for them. This is the number one song for like four weeks for them.
Starting point is 02:08:18 So search Bobbycast, wherever you listen to podcasts. I told you I kind of fell in love with them because he averaged 25 points of game playing basketball at the highest level. he uh... great baseball player We got a baseball scholarship I got offered to walk on at Belmont You were that good of a basketball player I was yeah at the time
Starting point is 02:08:36 So what are we talking about average per game? 15 a game I think it was like 24 Oh my goodness You were scoring 20, what class ball was this? It was 5A Cookball High School You used to average over 20 points a game
Starting point is 02:08:47 In 5A good God I shot it a lot though As you can see Yeah Yeah like super athlete But even the music you make He found out that that song Take It All Back was on Christmas Day.
Starting point is 02:08:58 That's when he found out it was number one. I try not to look at the charts. Yeah, but are you watching as it's climbing and you're like... Oh, we're definitely watching it because it happened on Christmas Day. Really? But we found out on Christmas Day that it was, I mean, like, the number one. And then they have the two weeks to follow, which it was really, really cool. Isn't that cool?
Starting point is 02:09:13 So there you go. Check it out. Bobby Cass, search for it. And that crowd there is from a show that just put the iPhone on up. The singing in the background. And there's one with Jada Marcus of Rascal Flats. Did you listen to that one? I did.
Starting point is 02:09:27 Yeah, it's really good. Do you like it? I did. Yeah. Do you find anything interesting about it? I think just, I didn't know he grew up similar to you. I didn't know he had this work ethic that he was kind of a workhorse that he made all happen. I found like how Rascal Flats came to be really interesting.
Starting point is 02:09:44 He was funny when he was like, my cousin sings, give me a break. Because he was out here really trying to make it work. And then his cousin's winning contests in Ohio. So he's like, okay, yeah, please. And his mom. By the way, his cousin's Gary LaVox, the lead singer Rascal Flats. But his mom, she is basically like, you know, you're meeting with your cousin. The end of story.
Starting point is 02:10:04 It's happening. I promised, you know, whatever her. Like their moms. Their moms arranged it. Yeah, Jay's like, okay, my cousin's winning karaoke contest. Come on. My mom says, have to listen to you sing. And then.
Starting point is 02:10:17 The first song he sang was One Last Cry by Brian McKnight. And he just stopped me in my tracks. I mean, when he opens his voice and you hear that come out of him, it's otherworldly. I mean, I describe it in the book as all of these ingredients of gospel and R&B and country rolled up into one. I'd never heard anything quite like it before. So it turns out it's pretty good. But those are just the last two episodes of the Bobbycast. And I hope you check that out and just search Bobbycast wherever you listen to your podcasts.
Starting point is 02:10:47 All right. Morgan number two coming to you. It's time for Food World. Num, Num, Num, Num, with Morgan number two. So Krispy Cream has a donut filled with Kris. creamy salted egg. It's only in Thailand right now, but there's a chance that could come to the United States.
Starting point is 02:11:03 Like what kind of egg? Like a cooked egg? Or like the Cadbury egg? Maybe. A boiled egg and it's salted. That's just... Gross. Sting.
Starting point is 02:11:16 What? I think it's being a little too judgment. What do you think, Vones? I think if they're making it, they don't just make things without testing it on people. Sure. I guess I do eat like egg on toast, which I'm egg in a dog.
Starting point is 02:11:27 It's like egg on. A donut. Salty sweet. Okay. Maybe it's not bad. That's it. Yep, that's it. That was Food World with Morgan number two.
Starting point is 02:11:40 Num, num, num, num. My favorite story of the day is Leo DiCaprio is now an Instagram boyfriend. Do you know what that means? No. He's the boyfriend who takes the pictures for the girlfriend. Oh, got it. Yeah. Now I know what that means, yes.
Starting point is 02:11:54 Even DeCaprio has to play Instagram boyfriend. He was spotted with his girlfriend, model, Camilla Marone, who's 21. Let that sit for a second. Yeah. He's 44, she's 21. Shocker. Who cares?
Starting point is 02:12:08 You know what? Good for him. That's what I say. As long as it's love, who cares about age, right? That's right. I'm just setting myself up just in case that's me one day.
Starting point is 02:12:16 This is in case you go back to the archives and I'm not bashing him because it's me. Please don't be me. I know, but still you never know. And he was caught doing the picture, like trying to get the perfect Instagram shot. Oh, yeah. You see the picture?
Starting point is 02:12:29 Okay, good for him. Hey, love has no boundaries. That's right. Or age differences. Yes, it does if it's illegal. Okay, that's true. Yeah, good point. Don't go back and listen to this.
Starting point is 02:12:43 This is not Eddie's archival to him. It's not. Okay, Amy, let's go around and see what's happening today. What's happened in your life today? I mean, I think that I'm going to try to go, I don't really know. I don't know. I'm looking at my calendar and I'm all. like, oh, I guess I'll just, like, free day, I guess. Amy's choice, you leave here? I think I'll try to go on a
Starting point is 02:13:04 walk with my friends. I mean, I'm going to work on some podcast stuff here for a while, but then after that, like, I don't have a workout plan, so it's like, well, what should I do? No, I don't know. I do want to go, though. When do you want to go? Morgan number two, want to go to? I know Morgan has been hitting me up. Well, I'm free today. Like, I'm, possibly. Okay. Possibly. I now am back. Okay. I've been living back and forth from here in California. you're like, I'm here. You're back. Yeah, for at least a few months.
Starting point is 02:13:32 We're so waiting to see if I don't, you know, picks me up again for next season. But even then, that's only a few months away. Yeah. Also, I do have another show I have to lead for it for a little bit. Yeah, that's true. But, I mean, not even be on the radio. But that's a whole talk later. It's crazy.
Starting point is 02:13:47 I do know, yeah. Okay. But my lips are sealed, though. Thank you. Okay. Well, one of my dearest friends. You know how we did that thing? You only make a certain amount of adult friends in the last five years?
Starting point is 02:13:59 Yeah. I have two. Morgan number two and Brandon Ray. His birthday. Oh. Eddie, you going? I am going. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:14:07 Oh, happy birthday, Brandon. So we're going to go and, I think we're going to go to the, we're going to the nudie board. It's called like thighs and fries. What? We're not. I've never even been to a strip club. Wow. I know, but is it, y'all are really going to eat.
Starting point is 02:14:22 I think it's a wing place. And that makes sense. I get it. Have you ever heard of it? No. I haven't either. Is that what it's called? Something like that.
Starting point is 02:14:27 That's why I thought of it. I was like, I was like, I was like. I was like, they have French fries and dancing? I was acting weird with my wife, too. He was like, where's the party? I'm like, I don't know. I was in place. It's like eyes and fries.
Starting point is 02:14:37 Like you almost told her. Yeah, birthday, I'm going to work out. We could maybe box. Yeah, I'll check that out. Okay, let me know. Lunchbox. Ooh, I'm going to get a long nap in and then I'm going to go for a run. And, I mean, really, that's all on my plate.
