Starting point is 00:02:46 Dot E-D-U-S-Military. The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-Show. Mike, what was the bit? Did I say what were going to do on this first? We didn't get to? What is it? Oh, Amy, watching the...
Starting point is 00:03:00 Justin Bieber YouTube. Hey, so wait, you watch that Justin Bieber show or no? No, I haven't because it's on YouTube TV, which you have to pay for or whatever. Maybe there's a free trial. I went to it. The first episode's free, though, right? Oh, this is the first one free? Oh, sweet. It's like 11 minutes.
Starting point is 00:03:16 The Justin Bieber documentary? Okay. Oh, my jam. Hold on. Yeah. Hold on a lot of it. You love it. All right, go ahead. Let me see. I was at TV.com. And, well, so I learned on Instagram that he
Starting point is 00:03:30 has a show and I was like how did I miss this? Like it looks so good. I guess they're dropping an episode every once in a while because like episode four came out and I was like what? There's four I can watch. So then I go to try to then I have to try it for free and then it says it's $49.99 a month. A month for YouTube TV? Oh it must be all the channels. It must be like a Hulu or right and I already have Hulu live. There's sports on there might? Yeah and I pay for that so I'm like shoot like I can't I could do the Disney Plus free trial because it's free yeah what no I think it's free it is the free right I got the trial but then I can let it after the trial I can be a member because it was like 999 or something but 4999 I can't sign it for the trial and then not cancel it because I won't cancel it
Starting point is 00:04:16 I'll like it and I'm only buying it for Justin Bieber that's it why do they do this they do this they're like let's get Justin Bieber and that way we'll get all the believers to join YouTube I want to watch it so bad. Well, he has that 500 million YouTube followers, right? Isn't the first 500 million? Dang. Because it's how he got discovered was on YouTube. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:43 So, I mean, I guess it makes sense for him to do his project on YouTube, but... There's a lot of people. Yeah. Anybody seen it? No. No, but I heard it was really good. Yeah. And I have this new obsession with Justin Bieber, too.
Starting point is 00:04:53 I'm trying to give me a Drew hoodie, you know? What's it say here? 50 million. Okay. Oh. No, that's still a lot. Still a lot. 50 million YouTube subscribers.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Dang. So what do you think I should do? I think you should just let it go. Oh, I was going to say, get it? No, because it'll trickle into you having to pay for it. Right, and that's a whole, I might as well have kept cable. I've so many, I'm doing Apple Plus, Disney Plus, Hulu Live, Netflix. I mean, paying for all these streaming things that are now adding up, still less than my cable bill.
Starting point is 00:05:26 But if I add YouTube to it, then it won't. The difference is this YouTube TV at 49999, it's supposed to be like an all-in-one, like a Hulu is to you. Maybe I get rid of Hulu and go to YouTube. Not for Justin Beaver. All for Beaver. This is what YouTube wanted, though, and it's working.
Starting point is 00:05:40 A crazy car chase went down just hours before the Chiefs were set to celebrate their Super Bowl win. In the middle of the Kansas City Chief's victory parade, cops had to use a pit move to stop a car that drove around the barriers. A driver in Kansas City was arrested after he apparently decided to take an illegal test run of the Chief Super Bowl Parade Route. Oh, wow. Wanted to drive it. Due to the celebration,
Starting point is 00:06:00 most roads in the city were closed off, but someone thought it would be a good idea to get away from police by using the parade route, which made for one of the wildest car chases you'll ever see because there was nobody else on the road. At one point during the chase, police appeared to have the suspects surrounded it,
Starting point is 00:06:14 but they somehow managed to escape. With the vehicle still on the loose, police used the sticks, which had, make the tires go flat to get over. Those things are, here's the thing about car chases. at some point of the car chase I always ended up rooting for the runner
Starting point is 00:06:28 just to see if you can make it as long as they're not like shooting or they haven't shot anybody before like if they're running from a speeding ticket or they have like a drug offense that they're running from I'm like you can do it guys because how do you get away from a helicopter
Starting point is 00:06:42 you're against the odds you get a helicopter over the top of you got four cop cars there's really no chance they'll ever get away that's not true don't say no chance when do they ever get away the car always crashes or a tire blows out the chopper's on the whole time. I would say most times, yes. I would say 100%. I would root for the underdog, though. See, I was an underdog my whole life. And now I'm someone that helps the underdog,
Starting point is 00:07:03 and now I root for the underdog. And I shouldn't. And I feel bad. You think the guy in the car is thinking, like, I'm going to get out of this. I think he's thinking, oh my God, what am I going to do? Trying to find a spot to get out on foot. But when the thing's over the top of you, it's tough. Yeah, you're in trouble. A guy climbs 36 steps on his head and breaks a Guinness World Record. An acrobat in China said a Guinness World Record for climbing steps on his head. He climbed 36 consecutive steps. He wore a device strapped around his chin and cushioned his head, but it doesn't help him get up to steps.
Starting point is 00:07:31 He uses the motions in his body to propel him up each time. Only his head is allowed to touch anything. Wow. Or he'll be disqualified. So only his head. So he's got to move his body to jump up to the next step. Yeah. Like literally he's only landing on his head.
Starting point is 00:07:46 There's balance when you're head standing with no hands. And then to jump it too. And he did 36 steps. I'll end on this. the modern slang terms used by cheaters to hide their affairs. Tin manning. I don't. The practice of actively avoiding developing feelings as you're cheating with someone.
Starting point is 00:08:12 So you're with them a lie. The tin man doesn't have a heart. Oh, that's it. Good one. Yeah. The acronym NSFS. Not safer work. Not suitable for spouse.
Starting point is 00:08:22 He didn't even get the letters right. And he's like, probably not good for today. No, no. NSFS describes explicit messages and to make sure that you know coming is in NSFS not safe for your spouse to see a straycation Oh my gosh okay it's a holiday taken with the person you're cheating on I get that straight care that's pretty funny I didn't want to laugh stealing home if someone is stealing home like man he's been he's had a um I'll give you the context he's had a mistress or a girl I've been cheating with for a while but It looks like she's stealing home. She's crossing the home plate.
Starting point is 00:09:01 The act of marrying your... Oh, they went home? Oh, no. Like, she ends up marrying them and being with them. Oh, I thought it was like the first base, second base, third base. They're home. They're probably already doing that after having an affair, right? Fling bling.
Starting point is 00:09:16 What's fling bling? When you buy a ring for your flea? Jewelry given to your affair partner. Fling bling. To silver spoon someone. Like wine and dine? No, no, let me give you this. It's a tough one to describe.
Starting point is 00:09:33 If you're silver spooning someone, it's where both people in the affair are blank. Rich? Old. Silver? Silver. To embark on an affair where both parties are senior citizens. Wow. Old folks doing it.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Or otherwise, I would call it to, ugh. Also known as. Silver spooning or known And then let's do haunting. Similar to ghosting, but the person continues to watch the ghosted person's Instagram stories or silently liking their posts.
Starting point is 00:10:14 You know what Instagram has done recently that has made a lot of guys that has made them a little more safe feeling on Instagram is they've taken away I can't watch who you like anymore. So a lot of dudes, creepy dudes would go around and like the porn star accounts and these girls and they're
Starting point is 00:10:29 and they'd be like, you're gross, you're liking all these accounts. Now guys can't like whatever they want and you can't track it back. Oh, you can't. Good. Good. Because usually you could see everything. You could go and see who liked what. Activity, I think is what it was. It took that tab off. Oh. So you never know. We're done here today. Thank you very much. Tomorrow, Marion Morris will be on the show. Next week, Coach Monica from Cheer. Whoop. The coach of the Navarro Junior College. Cheerleading team. So definitely watch Cheer this weekend. Oh, watch it anyway.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Even if we should come on the show, watch it. Yeah, yeah, but I mean, be prepared. So, and I told Scoob and Steve, I was like, hey, could we get her on it? And I thought he would just be like, come back and be like, nope. Freaking God her.
Starting point is 00:11:05 He's good. I don't know how he does it. If he keeps it up, we're going to start asking for some crazy people. Well, I thought that was a crazy ask. It is. I don't know how to get a hold of her. And he said he found some email on the dark web or something?
Starting point is 00:11:15 Yeah. I had like an email. I don't know what he's involved in. Hey, don't ask, don't tell. Well, that's not for that. Oh, it's not. It's okay. I thought I just came up with that phrase.

Starting point is 00:15:14 Morning studio. Morning. Let's see what's happening in everyone's life as we start today's show with our segment call What's the Haps? Hey. Hey, what's the Haps? Amy, coming over to you first.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Okay, so my husband's been really into this show called Book of Secrets, and it's on Netflix. It's one that he watches on his own. And I was kind of like, I don't really know if I'm into it. But we watched one about Air Force One together, and now I'm in. Now I want to see all the different episodes, Book of Secrets. We started one on the FBI, but I haven't finished it yet. But Bobby, you would like it, especially one on Air Force One.
Starting point is 00:15:46 You just learn all these fun facts about things that they're very, very interesting. Like, things you didn't know. Like on Air Force One? they keep his blood on the plane like tons of the president's blood in case he were to need it and there's always a doctor on board there's a surgery room
Starting point is 00:16:02 on this airplane it's kind of crazy and if you think about it makes sense to keep some of his blood on hand called Book of Secrets Yeah and did you know there's two planes identical exactly the same For what reason?
Starting point is 00:16:16 Well I think if they ever need a backup plane But really any plane that the president on Yeah Fly two up at the same time Like Elvis when he used to leave the building? Maybe. They'd send one car and then... That's right.
Starting point is 00:16:27 But just quickly, I'll wrap it up with any plane the president is on. Like, even if he's hopping on a Southwest flight, if he's the president, that Southwest flight just became Air Force One. It doesn't have to be that plane. Oh, that's cool. It's whatever he's on. All right, book of secrets. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Hey. Hey, what's the hatch? I'm going to go last. Lunchbox to come over to you. Oh, so Morgan number two is spreading these nasty rumors about me going on social media, Instagram live. telling people, oh, lunchbox cried when Ray asked him to be a groomsman. I didn't cry.
Starting point is 00:16:58 I was in the moment and we were celebrating and Morgan's over here spreading these nasty rumors and I have a reputation uphold and I don't need people going around spreading rumors about me. I thought he cried. Yeah, I did too. He cried a bunch. He cried when he got married. He cried, baby. He does get emotional.
Starting point is 00:17:14 I cried when I announced that I'm having two children. Did you feel like he cried? Yes. And there's video proof. I'm not lying. It's not a nasty rumor. Today, Ramundo will announce the next guy in his party, bride of party?
Starting point is 00:17:30 No, bachelor. No, no, no, no. Groomsmen. Groomsmen. Oh, yeah. Do you have a special way you're doing it today? I got to think that up. Well, it's happening in like two hours.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yeah, I'm all about on the fly. I don't do stuff premeditated. You did the last one premeditated. Did it five minutes before you guys walked into the room. Well, we're in the room. And you hit it pretty well. You can find it. Later on, Ramundo, we'll pick his name.
Starting point is 00:17:52 next bachelor. What's it called? Groomsman. Groomsman. Groomsman party? Not just groomsman. Wedding party. Yeah, wedding party.
Starting point is 00:18:00 That would be what it is. Okay. All right. So, all right. Well, and lunchboxes did cry. All right. Hey. What's the hat?
Starting point is 00:18:06 Eddie, coming over to you. The Pontoon Brewing Company, it's a brewery out of Georgia, is making a beer that tastes like skittles and tricks cereal altogether. I may need to try this. How do you feel about that beer? I mean, I'm kind of your traditional
Starting point is 00:18:19 Miller-Light guy, but I wouldn't mind trying some of these ciders are really good. Even these celtars they come out. And I love cereal. I love skittles. So why not try this? Ramundo, you like the fruity beer, huh? Yeah, that would probably be right down my alley.
Starting point is 00:18:33 It's tough, though. It gives you a hangover, the more sugar. But boy, you could put down two and feel, be fine. It's called Rainbow Smiggles. I'm looking at it now. Yeah, they say it tastes like a little bit of a mixture of strawberries, pineapple and vanilla. I've never tasted beer.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Amy, the first time you tasted beer? It's gross, but something about it grows on you. That's right. And then you kind of like it. People said that about coffee to me and I just can't get it. I'll drink it sometimes now. I didn't have my first drink coffee until like a year and a half ago. But people just give it enough time.
Starting point is 00:19:04 And I try it. I never get. That bitterness never taste good. You know what's weird about beer is like it's just weird that you can drink six beers. And it'd be normal. But you can't drink six coax or even six canned waters. Like opening two coax and drinking it would be like, oh, man, it's been a rough day. But beers, you can drink six in no problem.
Starting point is 00:19:23 It's six? I can't drink six, no problem. If I drink six, you better wait me up tomorrow. How do you get the smiggles beer? Can you order it online and have them ship it here? You could probably do that, but I'm sure your grocery stores. There's a grocery store by my house that has all these different kinds. So I'll probably swing by there and check.
Starting point is 00:19:39 Hey, there you go to me. What's the Hats? So Eddie and I put out a new song today. You can stream it. You can download it. It's called the Target song. I'm going to play it for you here as in my What's the Haps. and we are now, we're announcing now that we're going to play a little set at IHart Country Festival.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Eddie and IHard. Oh, awesome. There's a little one. We've played the whole stage before. You can do a little something special this year. But here it is. This is the new song. We did this from our record called Live and Little Rock. It's a live album.
Starting point is 00:20:09 So here's Eddie and myself, The Raging Idiots, doing our new song. Download it if you want. It's called the Target song. Hey guys, so because of licensing roles, we can't play anything with music. this iHeart radio channel or podcast anymore but you can't go to bobby bones.com to see it we hate that we had to take it down wasn't our decision but just wanted to keep you up and we wanted to keep up as much as possible so go to bobby bones.com to watch or hear whatever you're missing right now and thank you for listen to the show and sorry about all the legal stuff here's the bobby bones
Starting point is 00:20:40 here's the bobby bone show podcast highlight segment of the day just moments away from ramundo who works in the glass room who pushes all the buttons remandum to push a button show people what you do. Just push a button. This is just a random one right here. Nothing's ever gonna move it when the bones are good. So you never know what button he's gonna push. He can push any button.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Push another button, Raymond. Sometimes it's like one of those imaging pieces too with the big voice guy. He'll push this button. So every time you hear that, he's pushing that button. Sometimes he has sound effects. Yeah, like he'll hit a sound and it'll be like, what up, Ramundo?
Starting point is 00:21:18 He's good. That's that guy. It's pretty magical. He sits in the room and he's not even in our room. Like, I'm looking at him through a glass, And sometimes I'll nod at him If it's like time to start a song And we'll start this song
Starting point is 00:21:29 We won't play it all But I'll be talking And all of a sudden I hit him with a nod And the song starts underneath me And then I'll talk of it like that And then I go, it's Dustin Lynch So that's what he does Wow
Starting point is 00:21:39 It's nonstop, right? Ramundo, how long you've been with me? Seven years, let's say Here's the story of Ramundo We should do What do we call this segment? Highlight? Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:21:49 Highlight, what's it called? Well here we're going to highlight Raymondo for a second So you can get to know him Ramundo was born in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan? Sure. No? I mean, that's where I grew up, but honestly, it was, I was a twin, so I was born in Utah.
Starting point is 00:22:04 It was a life flight and then lived in different states, but I'm from the north. You were born in Utah? Yes, I took a helicopter out there with my twin brother. From where? We were in Wyoming, and they couldn't do the birth or something, so we had to fly to Utah. So on vacation or something? No, because it was like an emergency. No, no, help me out.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Why were you in Wyoming? We used to live there. Okay, and then when did you move to Michigan? Lumbermill faded away, went to Michigan when I was in middle school. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, me neither. Fun fact. We just followed the lumber mill, honestly.
Starting point is 00:22:31 So you moved to Michigan because was your dad working to lumber mill? Yep. And what did he do at the mill? He's called a procurement manager. So he makes sure that he looks at studs in trees and assesses them if it's good wood. I grew up in a sawmill town and most people that finished high school or didn't work to the sawmill. Was that what it was like in your town where they went to the lumber mill for the most part? Those two of them, lumber mill or a coal mine.
Starting point is 00:22:56 And so when did you decide that you wanted to get out of your town and pursue something in broadcasting? When I was doing internships in high school, I was like, I got to get out of this city, what do I need to do? I went to a promo internship. I went to a radio, TV. Nobody else was doing internships in high school. I had like three. So when did you decide to move out and where did you go? I went to Chicago.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I went through to play baseball in college and I got cut from the team after two weeks. Why do you think you got cut? Wasn't that good. That's a good reason to get cut. cut. Yeah, yeah. They were comparable to D2. It was a pretty legit school. So you didn't make the baseball team. Then what did you do? I chilled there for two years and then transferred to Texas. So you went to college for two years though in Chicago? How about that? Do you know that, guys? Two years? I knew you went to school there. I don't know if they're two years. Then you
Starting point is 00:23:39 transferred to Texas State University baby. And that's kind of where Ramundo and I come into the same picture. Because I was starting, before I did my national sports show, I did a local sports show in Austin. And was it local or was it national at first, right? Local. Was it? Okay. And so I went to Ramundo. I said, hey, guy, I don't even know you, but they say you're a good worker. He was interning. So why don't you come and do my local sports show that I'm doing? And so Raymundo came on. I did it by myself. And I didn't know him. And I was like, dang, dude, you're actually pretty good. Why don't you come on the morning show an intern. And so then you came over and start an intern with me over there. Yeah, for years.
Starting point is 00:24:14 And so for years. And Raymondo would lead the interns. He would do reality shows with him without cameras. He would be like, we're going to do intern Big Brother and then have contests and vote each other off and he would like date all the interns. He was running the camp. Way before I was engaged. Yeah, we get that way right. You don't know that. You don't want to say that every time. He's just clarifying. So Ramundo had just was grinding it out as an intern for years with me. And I went to him and I said, hey man, I know you've been working hard. I think it's time that you get a real job in radio, like a real paying job. And I asked you what? Do you want to be a producer for a country morning show. Yeah, I said, do you want to, will you move? And he's like, yeah, I said,
Starting point is 00:24:53 you're going to have to move to a city you probably never lived in before. Would you produce a country morning show? He's like, yeah, yeah. And I was like, well, I want you to come move and produce this show. And he was like, what do you mean? I was like, we're all moving. We're all going to Nashville. And so this was your first ever paid job, too, which is crazy to think about. For sure, yeah. And so, and here he is, and he's just as much a part of the family as any of us now. I forget all that past stuff. Everybody's kind of on the same level here. Amy, anything anything you want to say about Ray Mundo? I mean, he is the hardest worker and he is hilarious.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Like, he's so funny. Like, if you're almost unexpected funny to where you just die laughing, so you have to, like, wait for it. And so now that you know that, maybe you'll be, like, waiting for little Ray Nuggets. That's what I call him. And I've often said Ray Mundo would be the one to pop out and do his own show before anyone else. But even our boss is like, that Ray is the funniest.
Starting point is 00:25:41 I appreciate it. Yeah. Okay, well, anything we're missing, Ramundo? you got engaged a few months ago. Yeah, to Bay. Yeah, Ray and Bay. And by the way, our listeners has been buying stuff off your registry for you.
Starting point is 00:25:53 Yeah, way too much. The boxes are, there's a box mountain in my apartment right now. Amazing. That's awesome. I didn't say your registry page to have people go buy. It's great, they are.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Our listeners are very good. Very nice. But I was just kind of making light of they didn't have anything on their page. It was like, click here to learn more and it's an empty page. It's like under construction. We've updated it since then.
Starting point is 00:26:13 You have? Yes. Can you pull a, love that. It's Ray and Bay. Wedding. Yep. And it's a cheaper website, so sometimes you have to refresh the page. Honestly, it's odd. R-A-Y-M-B-A-E, Rayn Bay.Wedding. And so on that, he has updated that there's the registry. What's the big thing on your registry you're looking for that no one's bought you yet, do you know? I believe there's, we got the two chairs and there's also a little table. So my fiancé was viewing it as where we would look at the mountains, where we read, and we sit in the chairs and we put our coffee
Starting point is 00:26:42 on the table. So we're missing that table that goes with the chairs. What, what mountains? Maybe there's tall hills. Behind your apartment? Bell's Bluff, yeah. Okay. Braise is giving us his address. Our magical fairy tale.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Can I read your magical fairy tale? Please. In the year of 2014, by complete chance, Billy Smith came to Nashville to hang out with his boy, Cizondro. He decided to log into Tinder during a lonely Saturday afternoons. He matched with Bay, and then that night, Cizzen, which is Ramundo, Billy, Bay, and another random girl all hung out playing card games. Billy left town, but before he left town, he gifted Cizun Reimundo with Bay's phone number.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Ramundo texted Bay, and they started going on dates and slowly fell in love. The dates lasted for six years until an angel gifted Raymundo with a ring, parentheses Genesis Diamonds. That's the angel. There's a commercial in here. Amazing. Ray Mundo is a sports guy, so he proposed under the stadium lights at the Nashville Sounds baseball stadium in Wright Field. Bay said yes.
Starting point is 00:27:54 And hashtag six years later, Ray and Bay were engaged to be married in the most magical place of all. On a hillside in the country at an untouched chapel built by Bay's dad. October 24th, 2020, the fairy tale will continue, most likely televised on one of the major TV networks. Yeah! Did you write this? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:17 We couldn't tell. Let me get this story straight. I know your boy Billy matched with your now fiancé on Tinder. Yes. They were on a date, but you had another girl with you? Yeah, it was a double date.
Starting point is 00:28:27 And what happened to her? I don't think she's married, got kids now, I don't know what happened. You don't know who that was? She fell off. She wasn't interested in me or Billy, so she played on her phone the whole time. But you don't know who she is now?
Starting point is 00:28:36 Um, Alyssa. Oh, you don't say enough to say her name. Oh, sorry. But you don't like... We don't talk to her anymore. That was just a little. It was a one and done that we never saw her again.
Starting point is 00:28:46 Well, let's bring her in. Well, do you feel like we've highlighted you? Very well. Pretty good here. That was awesome. Ray Mundoendo is also, he's known for his height. Yeah, not very. He's five, six.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Kind of looks like Mark Ruffalo and acts like Joey from Friends. So that would be Ramundo. Thank you. One of my favorite people. Yes. Yeah. Is he serious about the televised? No.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I know. Oh, okay. Oh, because I was like, wow. Somebody was talking to him. Is Instagram TV, a major TV network? I mean, it could be, I guess. IGTV. Ramona, what are you going to do here to name your name?
Starting point is 00:29:24 How do we know it's somebody on the show? It is. I can confirm that. Okay, go ahead. So should I come in there? Yeah, come on in. Mike, we can run his board. But yeah, it's definitely on somebody on the show.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I've been looking forward to this moment. And I mean, I guess since lunch has already been named, I'm implying that it's either bones or Eddie because you guys are probably the next two that I'm closest to. Well, here's the thing is Eddie, one of us is going to feel like a real loser. I know, I know. Because we're not going to get it today and we may not get it at all. I'm a little nervous that it's me.
Starting point is 00:29:50 I'm nervous that it's me too. Wait, why would you be nervous? Wouldn't you be nervous that it's not? No, that's not me I meant. Oh, I'm the opposite. You're the opposite? No, I was just like, man, he's not going to pick me. Are you doing the liquor thing or no?
Starting point is 00:30:02 I don't know. I don't know. There we go. I got it. Go ahead, right, Mo and down. No, but Eddie, real talk. Yeah. Because you make sure the camera's on bones.
Starting point is 00:30:10 I mean, this is no jokes on this one. Bones is my boy. I definitely have to ask. This is a broom in case Bones spills it, but Bones, I got the grapefruit for you. Dog, my boy, will you be one of my next groomsman, baby? Come on. Oh, good, gosh. He shook it too.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Yes, I would love it. Yeah! Here we go. Here we go. Chug, chug. I took two drinks. I'm a lightweight. Come on, take it down, bones.
Starting point is 00:30:42 That's all I can do. Will you, Gray? Ray, thank you for, I would love to be your groomsman. Thank you. Thank you, Eddie. Man, I knew it. I knew it. Is there one spot left?
Starting point is 00:30:56 There is a groomsman left. There's one, one, do we want to do it? What we want to do? He sounds weird. It's not me. No, here's the deal. Go ahead. It is.
Starting point is 00:31:04 It's Eddie's one. Hey! Are you serious? Are you serious? So I got Eddie's bottle of wine, but here's the thing. I don't have the coozy for him. It's a dog. You can have to take.
Starting point is 00:31:12 the broom. It's right above you. It's right above you, dog. It's been there the whole time, dog. Whoa! Look at that! Ray put it on the ceiling. That's funny. That is hilarious, Ray. Right in front of your face, Eddie. Oh, look it on you. Ray, of course I'll accept. Woo! Eddie, drink your wine. I'll have another thing. Come on, Bob. By the way,
Starting point is 00:31:32 Cheers. Water loose sparkling water with grapefruit? I knew that's what you liked. That's my jam. Do not chug that entire wine. I will not. Ready, Eddie? One. Three, two, two, one, hit it. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:31:44 I thought you're good drinking. I did do. I did do. No, no, guys, we got to work. We got something to do. Ray, thank. Ray, Mundo, thank you. Yeah, yeah. That was awesome.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Appreciate you. We can't wait for the wedding, obviously. We love you. Dang, in my head, I planned out like that and went according to plan. Wow. Eddie's was above his head. We never noticed. I never saw that.
Starting point is 00:32:02 He's like, he's like, on your belt. You'll see your belt buckle says, will you be, like, it's like, Chris Angel. How did that? That's awesome. Thank you, Ray. Raymondo, thanks, Bob. All right, cool. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:13 There we go. It's exciting. We're going to have a party. I'm not, though. I'm going to have fun, but I don't go hard like you guys. No, you'll hang. You're really good. For someone that doesn't drink,
Starting point is 00:32:23 you're cool to hang without drinking. Because I've never drank, though, is why. So I don't... You don't know how much more fun he could be. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So do you want to drink? Hey, Mike, we'll drop the song. We'll come back to that in a second.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Well, there we go. We have a... All three of y'all, groomsmen. I drank too much. This broken water took quick. Yeah, me too. fits too much wine. See, that's hardcore.
Starting point is 00:32:46 That sits in there. Bones, can you shotgun, like a sparkling water? Not sparkling, it burns. It's a beer. Same thing. No, wait. You should try it. I can barely do it.
Starting point is 00:32:57 We'll try it at the wedding. No, we won't. Okay, call us if you want, 877. Oh. I drank too much, too hard. Come on. I just went too hard right now. Is this one like to have a hangover?
Starting point is 00:33:08 No. You'll have a hangover right now? No. Not even close. Starting point is 00:36:56 has died at the age of 103. The Spartacus star died on Wednesday at his home in Beverly Hills. In health news, a person from Wisconsin has become America's 12 coronavirus case. They had recently been to Beijing. And in sports, hundreds of thousands of chief fans flooded downtown Kansas City yesterday.
Starting point is 00:37:15 They had the victory parade to celebrate the team's first Super Bowl victory in 50 years. If you're bitter at your ex, or I guess even your current, the San Antonio Zoo is running a promotion this year. Well, they will name a rat after your ex. Oh, my. For 25 bucks, you can name whatever rat you pick after your ex. And then feed it to a snake. Go on. And then you can watch it on live.
Starting point is 00:37:40 They're like, okay, let's put up our rat name Eddie. That's a bit much. That's mean. Like, if you're going to spend money to do this, you should probably go therapy or something. Mm-hmm. Because it's costing you money now to be this bitter. Yeah. Yeah, and the joy that they're going to get from watching a live stream.
Starting point is 00:37:58 They're also doing one of those name a cockroach after your ex deals that'll cost you five bucks. Oh, that's cheaper. Morgan number two, you've been pretty bitter at your ex before. Yeah. Would you ever do this? No, I would never hurt an animal. this is just not my cup of tea. Maybe something else along the lines, but not with animals. Are you still bitter at your ex? Um, I mean, not bitter anymore, no. Still hurt and angry in ways,
Starting point is 00:38:23 but not bitter. Any Valentine's Day plans for you and some new guy you're dating? No, my best friend always comes into town since we both been single for a while and we'll be partying up together. Do you go out as a single person on Valentine's Day and look for a guy? You don't really look, but you kind of go out and drown your... sorrows with everybody else that's single. It's a good time. Yeah, I don't remember being single on Valentine's Day because I've been in a relationship. Oh, my God. Oh, good day.
Starting point is 00:38:49 You're so dumb. Thank you. Lunchbox went on the street to ask women what they wanted on Valentine's Day. Here's a woman number one. Chocolate. I need everything. Some money on a bed with like, you know, into a heart. I need all of it.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I didn't know you put money on a bed. Wow. In the shape of a heart of roses. In the shape of a heart. Actually, that's the best thing you can put on a bed. I just never thought about that. A bunch of money? It's like dollar bills.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Okay, here's the question. Would she be offended if there's a bunch of singles on the bed? Right. Yeah. Yeah. In the shape of a heart. Yes. I mean, I don't know, depending on where you are in your relationship,
Starting point is 00:39:22 but be like, what do you think this is? Right. Anytime there's money near a bed, you're like, what are you think you're paying for? Right. No, no, no, no. I would. But again, I've been wrong before. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Probably not right now, though. But this is interesting, for sure. All right, here's the next lady. Car parts. Or some boots. Okay, keeping it real. Cool, cool. Maybe I got you a muffler.
Starting point is 00:39:43 All about a carburetor. Yeah. Oh, here's the next one. I would say dinner too and maybe do the dishes. Okay, so something. That's like my style. Simple. Kind of fun.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Something pretty practical. Yeah. That sounds like you've been together a long time. Dinner and dishes. The first one, chocolates and money on the bed. Does not sound like you've been, maybe you just met. Like, that one sounds like an hour ago and you met him outside the gas station. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:05 What? You picked him up on the corn. All right, here's the next one. I would want my man to, like, go out of his way and be self-sacrificing in some sense, whether that be, like, get up early and take the dog for a walk or have my car clean. Okay. And then finally? A home-cooked meal and a movie night.
Starting point is 00:40:25 I'd like to give you the one piece of advice for Valentine's Day. I shall give it to you now. You'd think I got on an app in charge for this, but I'm going to tell you right now, here is the advice that you need every guy listening for Valentine's Day. Here is what you need to do. Okay? Ready? Free 99.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Show effort. That's it. That's all they want. Girls, turn your ears off for a second. Turn the radio down for a second. If you're listening right now... It's just me in lunchbox analogy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Oh, I see. Yeah, go ahead. Here's the thing. It's any guy listening. And it doesn't have to be a Valentine's Day. It can be a birthday. It can be about what women really. want is for you to show that you care, that you have taken time, effort.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Because you're not going to make every right decision about every right gift. You're not going to make every right decision about where to go. But as long as it looks like you tried, especially in relationships that you're putting an effort, that goes a long way. You're welcome. And it's so simple. Sometimes the most simple things are the hardest to remember to do. Talked right into that song.
Starting point is 00:41:34 The money heart. The money on the bed, though, is that effort? Yeah, no, it's a different kind of effort. As long as you put some time into it, it's hard for someone to be upset. You can be disappointed because it's, maybe they didn't get you what you wanted. But it's been, it's bad effort. All right, okay? Thank you, man.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Can I hear again? Sure. Obviously you could hear you. You were singing over to talk. Yeah, yeah. Obviously. Anything you'd like to say, Amy. I mean, I think that that's a good rule.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Even if it's walking the dog, even if it's walking the dog, even if you're it's having your car clean, like all that is actually pretty awesome. Because the crazy romantic stuff, ebbs and flows, and mostly goes hot early. And then you start to figure out the real pragmatic approach to a relationship. And I think that take the dog for a walk, like she said, have the car cleaned. All that just shows you care. Eddie lunchbox. Oh, you know what they didn't say, though?
Starting point is 00:42:27 Flowers, see? I think she said if she wants chocolate and money on the bed. That's the same kind of. Redmond, could you play that first clip? again, I liked her. Chocolate, I need everything. Some money on the bed would like, you know, into a heart. I need all of that.
Starting point is 00:42:43 She wants the money on the bed shape, like a heart. That's a lot of effort right there. Normally it's rose petals, but she's going straight bills. Shit. A woman in South Carolina managed to dial 911 with her toes after her hands were crushed by her car. Oh, my. She was changing her tire on the side of the interstate. state. She got a flat on I-95, a jack holding up the car slipped while she was putting on the
Starting point is 00:43:13 spare tire, causing the woman's hands to get stuck between the tire and the fender. Over the next 35 minutes, the woman was able to slide off her shoe and call 911 with her phone. Fire rescue crews were nearby. They got there quickly. She suffered injuries to both hands and all of her fingers. She was treated for injuries, giving pain medication, got to the hospital. She's going to be okay, but her hands were... So, when I read this, I go. Are you good with your feet, Amy?
Starting point is 00:43:41 Yes. I can pinch with my toes. Let's see if you can call 911. Let's put her... Have your phone on you? Yeah. This is great. Yeah. So, let's get Amy over to the stage. Wow. Because we have a performance stage here. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:55 So Amy's going to take the... Her cell phone. Now, don't dial in the code yet. Oh, God. Yeah, she had... She didn't have all this advantage. Yeah, you have to do it all with your feet. She... Well, yeah, probably.
Starting point is 00:44:09 If she had a phone that's been put out in the last 15 years. Leave your shoes on. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. Amy's trying to get all these advantages. Yeah. No, no. Can we get a timer down? Do you want to put in the garage?
Starting point is 00:44:20 Like, under a car? Put a car out there. Okay, so... Ready, Ramundo? Here we go. Amy is on the stage and go. Amy's pulling off her shoe. Do not use your hands.
Starting point is 00:44:31 I know I'm like my hands are in pain. Okay, she's not taking off her sock. Nice. Now she's now touched her phone with her foot. She's trying to swipe up. Now she is swiping her pass code. Don't put on my camera, Eddie. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Okay. 69, 69. She's in. She's in. Now all I want you to do is dial 311. That's two nine because we'll get the cops in here and we'll be in trouble. Okay, 3.1. Can you, do you know my number?
Starting point is 00:45:00 Do you know my number? Well, I have you on like... Okay, do that. Amy's now scrolling her contacts list with her phone. He's actually really good with her toes. That's crazy. She's quite advanced. Yes.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Now she's looking to say who she'd like to call. She's on Instagram right now. She's now doing a TikTok with her. Who are you calling? She's now dialing. Say you need help. Oh my gosh, clarify, Amy. I need help.
Starting point is 00:45:37 I'm trapped. Can you call 911? What? Well, don't do that, Amy. Don't kid her like that. Is that your sister? That's not a funny joke. It's Mary.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Okay, thank you. I'm good. It's a radio bit. Tell her not to call 911. Everything's fine, but I'm just able to call you. Now she thinks you're being kidnapped. If someone... Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:59 All right. All right. Bye. Bye. What? No, no. Why would you lead with... I need help call 911.
Starting point is 00:46:06 You'd scare someone, Amy, doing that. I'm sorry. I'm scared. Okay. Our point is, Amy did it. Nice. There you go. There you go. Quickly, too.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Now I'm going to sit on your hands. Yeah, imagine that with a car on your top of you. Yeah, that'd be tough. But I bet you figure it out quickly. Because you know if you're not going anywhere. Well, shout out to the unnamed woman, 54. Got a flat tire, crushed her hands, and then she called 911 with her feet. Also, how do you get your phone out of your pocket?
Starting point is 00:46:35 Oh, gosh, we didn't even try that. Okay, let's do it again. Put the phone in your pocket. She probably had it. I mean, I can figure it out. Okay, we're not doing that. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30-second skinny.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Sam Hunt announced he has a new album coming out called Southside on April 3rd. He will also be going on a headlining tour with special guests, Kip Moore and Travis Denning, featuring songs from the new album. It kicks off May 28th in North Carolina. Luke Bryan is happy to have other country music dads to talk to. Thomas Reddell call me from time to time. and he'll go, hey, we're going to this place. I saw you went there as a kid-friendly.
Starting point is 00:47:16 So it's fun to be able to talk daddy shop with them now, you know, and Jason's got little ones too, and yeah, they're all in the mix. Miranda Lambert and her mom Bev have rewarded $160,000 worth of grants to animal shelters across the country, all thanks to Muts Across America, an initiative under the Mutt Nation Foundation. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Tell me something good. I saw this on Twitter last night. A Massachusetts waitress was blown away by a generous tip that she recently got. Her name is Jennifer. The check was $157 and 56 cents. And she gave it to a local business guy. And he put a $5,000 tip on the check. Said he was inspired by Donnie Wahlberg after he made headlines for tipping $2,000 at the start of the year.
Starting point is 00:48:11 his thing was $2,020 because they were getting into 2020. Right. This guy tipped $5,000. Can you imagine? I would think that was a joke. I would think he was being super generous with $50 and messed up. Right. Did you just accidentally add some zeros?
Starting point is 00:48:28 And then you have to call him and go, excuse me, sir. And hope that they really did mean it. Yeah, he tipped $5,000 on that meal that cost $157. Amazing. And then he wrote a note on the ticket that said, Donnie, your move. Oh, wow. Reference.
Starting point is 00:48:44 Because, again, Donnie Walberg's also from Massachusetts. He's a Boston guy. So anyway, she says it made his night, but really her month and her year and her life. He wants Donnie to go 6K now. You know, I don't know what anybody have going on. Wow. I just thought it was a cool story, and that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:49:02 Bobid Bones Show. Boney up the day. This story comes to us from Kalamazoo, Michigan. A man broke into a family's home is holding everybody. at gunpoint, give me all your valuables, give me all your valuables. And the dad looks at the gun goes, man, that has an orange tip on it. Oh no. Not a real gun. Of course not. No of the orange tip. He said that looks like a lot of the guns my kids play with. And on the side it said Nerf. The orange tip, if you're going to hold somebody at gunpoint. Yeah, that's a giveaway.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Paint over it, cover it with your hand, do the finger in your pocket, anything other than the orange tip. So then the dad jumped up and tackled the guy called 911 and he was arrested. Idiot. All right, there you go. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Come on, Bobby. All right, time now for elder versus millennial. Eddie's the elder. You are. 40 years old. Morgan number two is the millennial. You are. 26 years old.
Starting point is 00:50:05 And what I do is I ask each of them questions about the other person's generation. Oh, this game. By the way, we're tied four to four. Oh, really? Good. Eddie, I'm going to ask you questions about millennial stuff. Come on. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Question number one. Who played Lewis? In the Disney show Even Stevens. Never heard of it. Who played Lewis in the Disney show Even Stevens? I'm going to guess here. Louis Tomlinson. One direction.
Starting point is 00:50:36 No, that's the name? Morgan number two? Shailabuff. Nice. Really? One point, yeah. That must have been a long time ago. Well, she's 26.
Starting point is 00:50:45 It was when he was a kid. Okay. What was the name of the school that Harry Potter goes to? Hogsworts. Excuse me? Shoot. Hold on. Let me think about this.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Trying to go with first thing in my mind. Not a good idea. It's hog something. Wait, what's the name of the school Harry Potter goes to? Yeah. Hogworts. Dang it.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Why are you guys laughing? It sounds so right to me. I don't even know for sure. I need to... Because I do this with Amy sometimes. I need you to declare what your answer is instead of just yelling out things. Gosh, is it hogs warts or hogworts?
Starting point is 00:51:18 Hogwartsworts. Your answer is? Hogwarts. Yes. How's that spelled? H-O-G-W-A Yeah. H-O-T-S?
Starting point is 00:51:28 Hogwarts. Okay. Yeah. Eddie, what's the name of the popular fruit snack with juicy scinters? Their shape like hexagons are made by General Mills.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Oh, one of my favorites. Gushers. Wow. Yeah! Nice one. Yeah, see, with food stuff, I keep it young. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Eddie, too. This is great. Morgan number two, one. Okay. From the steel. Morgan number two, your questions. Ready?
Starting point is 00:51:54 There is a bit of unfairness to this game because Eddie, you're living during her stuff. Some of your stuff she didn't even live in.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Yeah, before she was born, you're right. But that's okay. But that's the way the game is. That's the way the game. I just have to hope his memory goes away. Hey, Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:52:10 This is a quote from what movie. Swing! So again, I'll do it again. Shwing! Is a quote from what movie? From a movie? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:52:22 Is it a friend? funny movie? I'm not giving you hints. Shwing. I don't know, but I'm going to do Back to the Future. Eddie, you can still Swing! I believe it's, is it
Starting point is 00:52:39 Stiffler, American Pie? Is that your answer? Yeah, American Pie. No! What's Swing? It's Wayne's World. Oh my goodness. Swing! Swing! Mess that one up. That stinks, Eddie. Yeah, that's not good. That hurts you a little bit. Hey, Morgan number two. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:54 These guys are the best-selling music duo in history. Daryl and John were their first names. What are their last names? Nice. This is bad. Yes. I thought she'd say Dan and Shay. Florida, Georgia Line.
Starting point is 00:53:12 What's the score? Two to two. Oh, boy. All comes down to this one. A Morgan number two. A trapper keeper was a kind of what? A trapper keeper. You've heard of that?
Starting point is 00:53:25 No. Wow. Every one of us in the room went, that's a great view. I feel like. I feel like they still have them. Oh, yeah. A trapper keeper is a kind of what?
Starting point is 00:53:37 A trapper keeper. I don't even know the category to guess in. A bug catcher? A bug catcher? This is crazy. I know. Eddie for the win. Oh, this is great. It's a school binder.
Starting point is 00:54:02 It's a binder. Yeah. Play that music. A traffic keeper, Morgan number two, it's like a bind, and it kept all these different folders in it. I think we just called them binders. I don't think I've ever heard that. It was a kind of binder.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Yeah. Yeah. And it had Velker on it and cool designs. Yeah, it's pretty awesome. You look forward to getting that trapper keeper. Yeah, I got like a bootlegged trapper keeper. As soon as I said it. I think about
Starting point is 00:54:25 his brand. If his brand name, I don't have it. The brand name I have it. Eddie, congratulations though. There he is. Our winner today.
Starting point is 00:54:33 It's funny when Morgan number two said you didn't know what that was, Ramundo, Amy, all those went, oh, our jaws opened. But Amy, that's the realization that it's not the same life.
Starting point is 00:54:43 I know. We're not living the same life, you know? Not at all. All right. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 00:58:17 dot APUS.edu slash military. The Bobby Bones show. So this came during our Kane Brown interview. We asked him, just jokingly, if he buys out the theater. And Kane Brown said that's apparently what Luke Bryant does. Listen, I don't know that this is true. I know. Here's the clip from the interview.
Starting point is 00:58:38 The Green Hills Movie Theater, and the girl came in there. We got there too late for food. So we were asking him, like, can you please just make us food, like fries or anything? We didn't eat dinner because we were coming to watch a movie. And they were like, y'all are so much different than Luke Bryan. Like, Luke Bryan just shuts down the theater. And it's just, I was like, I didn't know you could do that. So we had Lunchbox call.
Starting point is 00:58:58 And so here is Lunchbox calling just a regular movie theater? Regular old movie theater. Who do you ask for? Well, that was the hard part, was figuring out who to talk to. And finally you get up to like the general manager of the theater. Okay, here we go. This is call number one. Jason Gible here, businessman, business deals, trying to get that money.
Starting point is 00:59:16 I'm trying to see how much it is to rent out an entire. theater. How many people are you looking to bring? Just two? Two? Yeah, me and my wife just trying to do baller move. So I got a lot of money. I just didn't know if it's like you know, you know, 75 bucks, 100 bucks, you know, buy a thing of popcorn and we're good to go. For the small theater is 250. For the medium, it's 500. For the large, it's 800. I don't think you need a larger a medium if you only have two people unless you want to just have a bunch of empty seats behind you. What about 150? And then I'll buy two popcorns.
Starting point is 00:59:42 I respect the game. You know, I got to try. You know, businessman making a business deal trying to get that money. I understand. But it looks cooler if I do 800 and get the big theater, right? Yeah, in theory, yes. See, that's what I'm talking about. All right, I'll be in touch. Thank you so much, my man.
Starting point is 00:59:55 All right, no problem. Bye-bye. I guess I thought it was getting more than $250. Oh, for sure. For the small one, that seems doable. Yeah, to, like, impress them. Listen, it's expensive and I'm not really going to do it. Okay, but...
Starting point is 01:00:08 That's expensive for a movie. Now it doesn't seem so ridiculous for Luke Brian to do it. But I thought it would be like thousands of dollars. But it doesn't seem that crazy for Luke, Luke Ryan now. No, not at all. It's kind of like he probably, if he's got his whole family and just easier, he's probably like, okay, get the whole theater.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Wow. A little bit, I'm blown away. Okay, lunchbox calls a different movie theater. Yeah. Okay, here we go. Hi, this is Chris. How can I help you today? Hey, Chris, Jason Gibble here, businessman, making business deals trying to get that money. And I was just calling because I've always, you know, wanted to rent out an entire theater and I need to know
Starting point is 01:00:40 how much that would be. You're talking the full price of renting out every seat in the auditorium. I'll buy two tickets. I'll slip you 100 and then you tell everybody else it's sold out. No, I'm sorry. That's, I can't do that. What if I tip you 500? I understand what you're saying.
Starting point is 01:00:56 I understand what you want to do, but that's just, that's not how it works. There'd be no way to do it. Okay, what if I tipped you 10,000? And I'll buy you a thing of popcorn. I appreciate it, sir, but no. Okay, thank you. Have a great day. You have a great one, too.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Bye-bye. A little stick in the mud. You don't want to take the tank? Or he thinks he's on undercover boss. You'd think your boss is calling you and going. He probably is like, who doge that one? Not falling for that one, boss. $10,000.
Starting point is 01:01:23 He's probably on his way to a big manager. You know what's kind of hitting me in my mind is that you can probably do this at one of the times the movie's not being shown. And that's extra money. You can't buy it out. If they're showing at 3.30 showing of the Joker, you probably have to buy every ticket. You have to go exactly 3.30. But you probably go at like noon when there's like four hours. they're not using the theater.
Starting point is 01:01:46 Right? Yeah. There's no cleanup. Yeah. Can you imagine? There's no cleanup when we go in to just destroy it. Just trash the entire theater.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Here's one more. Lunchbox is calling movie theater so much it cost to run out the entire theater. Is this Denise? Yes, Denise. This is Jason Gibble. Businessman making business deals trying to get that money. And I was trying to get some information on how much it is to rent out an entire theater. You have to buy out every single city in the auditorium.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Yeah, okay. So let's say 500 bucks. We've got a deal? No, no. I cannot make the deal. Okay, okay, okay, okay. You drive a hard bargain? I get it, I get it.
Starting point is 01:02:20 How about $750 and I'll buy two large popcorns and two large diet coats? I cannot. How about $100,000? Then you can do whatever you want. Deal. Bye. Everybody has a price. I mean, it was crazy that one theater, it was only $250,
Starting point is 01:02:36 and then the other ones you had to buy every single seat. I would say that's because there's probably a rule at one theater. You can rent a theater for X price if they're not showing a movie. Right. And the other is that you got to come by. when we're showing it and buy a receipt. Yeah. But that's pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:02:49 But if I were Luke and I wanted to get some privacy with my family, why not? And you have Luke Brian money, I'd buy a theater of $250. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Yeah. Look at that. That's good. That's good like we learned. That was a fun segment. Yeah, good for us. We had fun. Good for us.
Starting point is 01:03:02 I'm just kidding. Good luck. Good luck. Good luck with that. Although everybody's really cool. Right. Here's Amy's Pile of Stories. So in elementary school,
Starting point is 01:03:15 played the Lion King in the movie for a fundraiser, and Disney found out about it, and they fined the school $250 for playing the movie without a license. Can't do that. You can't play somebody else's stuff. Yeah, for any reason whatsoever. And they're not doing it to actually make the money. They're doing it so bigger fundraisers or bigger anything doesn't show it.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Right, to make a point. So that way, but I mean, as parents at a school, you just think you're doing a fundraiser and you probably don't realize that you can't do this. Well, here's what I'm going to. to say you do know you can't do it however i think you probably do but however you just don't think it's going to get out you don't think someone's going to tell on you right because again disney it doesn't matter how big or how small a company is if they're paying to create something you
Starting point is 01:03:59 can't go use it for free and they're not expect so i know disney's big and the popular things go i can't believe you would do that disney how's disney to know however they're just doing it look like they're in a found i'm ten thousand dollars oh wow get this because i remember watching The Lion King in my seventh grade class, Mr. Garcia. Different. They're not raising money in your class. But it says here, if a movie is shown for any entertainment reason, even in the classroom, it is required by law that the school obtains a public performance license.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Oh, we didn't do that. Wow. I know, right? We saw a lot of movies. The PTA made $800 during the fundraiser, but now they're going to cough up the $250 fine. Okay. And again, you just don't expect someone to tell on you. Like, how did they get out?
Starting point is 01:04:43 That's who I would be at. Did someone snitch to Disney? Why would you do that, right? What do you always say? Snitches get stitches. Well, I mean, I didn't make that out. I didn't make that. Can you imagine somebody gets to jump now because they told Disney?
Starting point is 01:04:54 But you understand why, right? Yeah, I totally understand why. I was just shocked by it. So I wanted to, I mean, I guess I'm not shocked, but I'm shocked. And I just wanted other people to be aware in case you're planning a fundraiser to, you know, soon with a movie. It's like if you were to order a pay for it for, but you have to pay for it. But you have to pay more of a showing it to more people.
Starting point is 01:05:14 You can't just pay. I met a guy where his job was to go to different bars on fight nights to see if they were licensed. What about if you're hosting a fight night party at your house? That's a borderline. Again, but these are rules and laws that, again, unless someone tells on you, they don't get out there. I never knew that. So you have to pay like per head. Not per head, but if it's shown over an amount of people, you're supposed to pay more for it.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Or if it's in a business, maybe that's. That's the rulebook where people are buying. Okay. Wow. I didn't know that. But it is easy to go, oh, man, Disney. But really, they're in the right. And they're just making sure people don't take their property and use it for free because they paid for that. So I know it does kind of stink. It'll be fine.
Starting point is 01:05:57 They'll be fine. All right. What else? Heads up. So police responded to a report of a child's voice crying. And of course, right when I started reading the story, I was like, oh, my gosh, was this set up? Was it a gang? When they got there, was it a kid?
Starting point is 01:06:09 Who was it? Was it a trap? Well, it turns out it was a goat with its head stuck in a fence, but people thought it was a screaming child. Isn't it weird how you can get your head stuck in something going forward and you can't get it back out? Like just a weird part of our... Isn't it? Yeah, because it just slides in one way, but then it catches on the way out. Like, that's always unfortunate.
Starting point is 01:06:30 All right, what else? Okay, so if you're one of those people that likes to buy something just because it's on sale, like normally you wouldn't really be buying it and you don't need it, because it's on sale you buy it, you are not alone. because the average person spent almost $8,000 buying stuff, quote unquote, on sale last year. Well, two things I like to share. One, those dumb bed bath and beyond take a percentage off. I will go spend way more money than I ever thought about because of the money I was saving.
Starting point is 01:06:54 20% off coupon? Then I'm not even saving it. The buckle would send you a gift card to be like, you use this and you'll get 15% off your entire next purchase. And I'd be like, hold it is like, you have to spend at least $50 though. So I was like, well, I got to hit that $50 threshold. Right. No, my husband and I argue about this all the time because I'll say, but it was on sale.
Starting point is 01:07:11 He's like, but we never would have spent the money in the first place. You're only buying it because it's on sale. So technically we're still out money. So anyway, just let's try to. Oh, they get us. They get us every time. But now that you're aware, maybe you'll focus this year on that. Always been aware.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Still do it like an idiot. Okay, well, you're not alone because a lot of people are doing it. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox Tell me something good
Starting point is 01:07:39 Three-year-old Tatum is in daycare In Lincoln, Nebraska, and his father's in the military So they were having show and tell day So Tatum brought his military doll That looks like his dad dressed in a military uniform He's showing it off to the class And the teacher's like, what would you do If your dad was here
Starting point is 01:07:57 He's like, I'd give him a big old squeeze And here it is If you saw daddy right now, what would you work? You don't know Would you give your daddy a big squeeze? you would Are you sure Are you sure
Starting point is 01:08:13 Who is it? That's him's daddy Yeah there you go Oh man If I'll watch that I'd probably be a mess for a little bit I'd be honest with you Dang that's a good one
Starting point is 01:08:26 That's what it's all about right there That was tell me something good Come on Bobby Transmitting Over to Amy who sits to my left Time for the morning corny A morning corny. What do you call a farmer that spies on his crops?
Starting point is 01:08:52 What do you call a farmer that spies on his crops? A corn stalker. All right. That was the morning corny. There you go. It's a Bobby Bones show. Amy was doing an Instagram live last night, so I got on with her and we talked for, I don't know, 10 minutes or so? Yeah, it was awesome.
Starting point is 01:09:15 It was when I had the most people watching. Oh, was it? I was just brushing my teeth. More people joined. And then they stayed. And then Bobby went away and they all went away. And I was like, dang. Wow.
Starting point is 01:09:24 I don't know that that happened. I saw it happen. All I know is I'm in the bathroom and I get a burr on my phone. And it's as Amy would like you to join her Instagram. I'm brushing my teeth. I was surprised to see you even watching. So I was like, oh, I'll see if he answers. And so I get on and her and her sister, I don't even start talking about.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Everything. Yeah. And so we talk for a little bit and then I hang up and I start working on the show. I go to bed. And then I start to get messages. Here's one that just came in about your Instagram Live. Hey, Bobby, I missed a conversation about Amy's son mooning a thousand viewers on Instagram Live last night. Yeah, it happened.
Starting point is 01:09:55 What? What? Well, he came in and he started talking and he was like, hey, and then, you know, he likes to booty dance. And so I thought he just wanted to like shake his booty. So he gets up. And I don't know who took, like we haven't taught him mooning, but now, I mean, maybe. Oh, mooning was awesome. Nice to moon everybody.
Starting point is 01:10:10 Yeah. And so it never even crossed my mind that he would pull everything down. And he gets up on the couch and he's like doing his thing. And then all of a sudden he just pulls his pants down. And I kind of thought, oh, did you just pull his pants down? And then why would you want to show everybody his diaper? He was like ready for bed. Straight booty, bear booty.
Starting point is 01:10:31 And he thought it was hilarious. And he just died laughing. I mean, so did we because we weren't expecting it. But yeah, everybody got, and he was super close to the camera. Have you been kicked off Instagram for that? I don't think. A lot of things wrong with that? I know.
Starting point is 01:10:45 Like one neck of butt. two kid naked butt? I know. I had no. So far, nothing. But I did get nervous that something we're going to get fined or flagged. And we told him that,
Starting point is 01:10:55 that he can't do that in public. He could get fined. And now he's all worried. You should find him, though. Does he have money? Yeah? Yeah, you should tell. You should find him.
Starting point is 01:11:02 How much? $5. They're like, hey, we heard from Instagram. You were going to be fined $5 for that last night. Teach him a lesson. All right. Okay. No one wants to lose their money.
Starting point is 01:11:12 No, that is a good lesson. And if you laughed at him, you can't punish him. I know. I think we were just so shocked, but then I did tell him, like, afterwards. I'm like, buddy, you can't do stuff like that. Especially we didn't know it was coming and there's people on there that we don't know. Well, today you got a note from Instagram that he's been fine $5. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:11:29 All right, I'll tell him. Okay. I'll have him pay up. I'm going to ask you guys for a personal milestone in just a minute. So think about it. Something in your life that you've accomplished. That'd be big. Be small.
Starting point is 01:11:41 Being a little streak you've said. Because this guy just hit a million miles on his truck. one million miles with his Nissan Frontier pickup truck. Now he should be in a commercial, right? He should be whatever they're doing to promote his Nissan. That should be his deal. Yeah. Brian Murphy bought the truck in 2007 used it for a delivery service.
Starting point is 01:11:59 Has never owned or used another vehicle since. The two-wheel drive king cab still has its original four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission. The clutch lasted over 800,000 miles, outliving the driver's seat, which is crazy. The only other major work he's had done was getting a new timing chain installed at 750,000 miles. Nissan says he may have the record for putting the most miles on a frontier. And there's a picture he took of 999-999-99-99-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9.
Starting point is 01:12:27 All that. Pretty cool. I didn't know that was possible. My Pontiac Sunfire had over $200,000. And it finally just, I don't even know if they make those anymore. Do they make Sunfires, Pontiac Sunfires? It was the most legit car I ever had as far as... It was like a small tank.
Starting point is 01:12:42 It didn't look like a tank. But it would go wherever you needed to go. When I moved from Little Rock to Austin, Texas, it was about a nine-hour drive. And we had started out on the drive and got hit by a huge snowstorm. The drive ended up taking 27 hours to get down because we hit a snow and ice storm. That Pontiac Sunfire just there were 18 wheelers pulled over. There were big trucks. My Sunfire didn't stop.
Starting point is 01:13:06 They're all jealous of you. Yeah. Over 200,000. Do you have any sort of milestone that you've hit recently? Oh, it should be recent. But it doesn't matter. Like mine, for example, I'm two weeks away from on my Peloton
Starting point is 01:13:20 hitting one year, every week for a year, at least once a week. That's pretty good. Because it keeps track of it. So I'm two weeks away from hitting 52 weeks. I'm pretty pumped about that. Okay. You?
Starting point is 01:13:30 Well, I mean, I guess it's not recent. I mean, I haven't pressed news in forever. I don't know that I have any goals that I did recently. Is that sad? Oh, mine for sure is the book that I read in three years. weeks. Like I hadn't read a book that fast in forever. Watchbox? Ooh, that's easy.
Starting point is 01:13:49 200,000 people on Twitter follow me. Nice. That's pretty cool. Morgan? Probably the fact that I watched 23 Marvel movies. Oh, yeah. That might be the winner. That's the winner. Yeah, you win. Morgan number two, watch 23 Marvel movies from Christmas to basically we came back. That's just watching movies all the time. Yeah. Yeah, it was like
Starting point is 01:14:06 three and a half straight weeks of movies, basically. That's impressive. Yeah, I haven't done that. Like, I feel like that's more impressive than my 50 weeks in a row of exercising. I don't know. I don't know. That's solid. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Yeah, because I don't know that I've ever done that with anything. I'm sure that I've exercised 50 weeks in a row, but not on a particular machine. A new study finds that the topics married couples choose to argue about
Starting point is 01:14:32 make all the difference in the world. So the happy couples almost never chose to discuss problems that were harder to resolve or would take months to sort out. What does that? What are you fighting about that would take months to sort out? Like some sort of fundamental money issue?
Starting point is 01:14:47 Right. Religious issue. I'm like, so what do you just keep putting it under the rug? You know, like I say, stay surface. Yeah. Don't go deep. This was a critical factor that researchers believed has been very important to marital happiness.
Starting point is 01:14:59 Experts say that unhappy copals focused on the more difficult to solve problems that really they were fighting and regardless of the fight would never come to a conclusion. Okay. All right. So you just go round and round. And there's not an ending. It's almost like you're fighting just to fight.
Starting point is 01:15:15 You find a reason to fight. Yeah, that's miserable. I think some people are in that. Yeah. Oh, I could see. I've been in that right. That's what I'm saying. I think some people will even happy get into that spot.
Starting point is 01:15:27 Yeah. Well, I was in therapy yesterday and I was talking about not having an argument, but just how I unfairly feel certain things in relationships. And she says, and I think this is a pretty common thing in therapy. And she told me, she goes, hey, what you need to do when you bring up something, and this isn't just about my current relationship, even past relationships. She goes, what you need to say is, hey, the story I tell myself is blank. And then that's the best way to talk about something if you're irritated with something.
Starting point is 01:15:58 Because it doesn't mean it's the universal truth. It means the story I'm telling myself is, well, that I'm irritated because of X and then it's not, hey, this is what's happening. Right. It's unfairly or not, this is what I'm telling myself and we can try to work from it. And she was like, it's the greatest tool whenever you get into a fight. I've been telling people for like 10 years.
Starting point is 01:16:16 She's like, just say this. Or whenever you want to bring up something that's uncomfortable, you say, hey, the story I'm telling myself is and then you say it
Starting point is 01:16:24 because again, it doesn't a sign that it's the truth. It says it fairly or not. This is what's going through my head, so I want to share it with you. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:32 And I mean, guys, I don't know that y'all are as bad at it as females. I mean, you're admitting that you struggle with it, but like, we girls, we can create this entire narrative to where now you,
Starting point is 01:16:44 like for my husband, been it could be like, oh yeah, now, you don't love me anymore. Our marriage is over. You hate me. And it all has to do with like that he kind of maybe ignored me for a second earlier in the day. And all of a sudden I've built it up to that. It's like this horrible thing.
Starting point is 01:17:00 I would say, so the lie that I'm telling myself right now. You say lie. Yeah. But what if it's not a lie? Well, I'm telling my, well, okay, the potential lie that I'm telling myself, you can correct me if I'm wrong. But I guess the story, you could use it that way. But is that you.
Starting point is 01:17:15 ignored me because you don't love me anymore and now I'm undesirable to you and now we're probably going to get divorced. And then he'll be like, right, I know. That's what I mean. Like sometimes we can go up zero to 60 super fast. And then my husband would be like, what? I was on the phone. Like it literally was nothing and I'm, obviously I'm exaggerating the story, but it literally
Starting point is 01:17:34 could be nothing. And I've told myself it's like this horrible thing. I do the same thing with you too. That applies to any relationship. Like sometimes I'll be like, oh. he's not what did I do what did I say wrong are we are we did I do something am I not doing my job good like what's wrong and really you're just busy or something like it doesn't I can do it with lots of people it's not just my spouse well apparently the key is according to mine is just go hey listen the
Starting point is 01:18:00 story I tell myself is that you're really upset with me and you hate me because of the way you acted today and I'd be like no I didn't get enough sleep last night sorry perfect so I could be like the story I'm telling myself is I'm about to lose my job and I would say never I would fire me before you. Okay, that's not. Yeah. Okay, that's not. You would run the volleyball show before I would let me go.
Starting point is 01:18:21 Okay, that's funny. I did get in trouble yesterday. I was in therapy, and sometimes I just get tired of talking about because I go to a relationship therapist. And I just, I'm just over talking about relationships. And so I just started talking about work. And I was like, she's like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Nope, stop. You didn't come here to talk about your job.
Starting point is 01:18:39 You didn't come here to talk about whatever TV show you're about to start doing. She goes, we came here to talk, and then she kind of had to reset me. but like I've been scolded. Dang. Wait, so you're not allowed to talk about any other areas of your life? I am, but I was really just getting out of. You were pivoting. It just is tired of it.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Oh, you were using it as a, yeah. Well, no, that's when you know you need to dig deep. You need to lean all the way in. I've been digging deep. I'm pretty dug right now, and I don't have any big issues right now. I need to let some issues happen. She said that's a bad way to go into it. That's horrible.
Starting point is 01:19:12 What are you talking about? I was like, you know, I'm pretty good. happy right now. I said, you know, maybe a little too happy. She goes, well, that's an issue that you think you probably, something could go wrong. I said, well, I'm just in a good place right now. I'm never in a good place. I said, so something will come, don't worry. And then I was like, maybe I should, I'll find something
Starting point is 01:19:27 before I come back next week. She's like, no, don't find things. Don't go out on a scavenger hunt for things that are wrong. Yeah, I think you need to learn to live in the, the, when it's okay. Live in that, but still be open to working. It's not a good place for me. Okay. I like to have always something just a little bit wrong. It's like a criminal. This is a little low.
Starting point is 01:19:45 Oh, well, trust me, I mean, we all still have things wrong. Even when life's great, you still go so wrong. On the phone is Valerie in Tennessee, who has called us. Thankful for that. Hey, Valerie, what's going on? Hi, I know the answer to the blank. What's you talking about? Do you hear me?
Starting point is 01:20:06 Oh, the guy that ate dog food? Oh, that wasn't really a game. Oh, I love that. You're going to fill it in. It wasn't that I know the answer. He feels better Why? Do you eat dog food? No.
Starting point is 01:20:20 I heard the story. He's been eating at like for three or four months. It took them four days to get over the taste. See, I know the whole story. I thought I was going to win. Well, it wasn't a game. It was a tease for something I was about to talk about. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:20:36 This guy was the president of a dog food company in Texas ate nothing but his own company's dog food for 30 days to prove that it was high-quality food. He said the beginning was tough. He missed the taste of normal food, but he feels pretty fantastic and wound up losing 30 pounds. Whoa. Now, I wonder if that weight loss, though, is because he didn't want to eat a lot. It's easy to lose weight when you don't want to eat the food.
Starting point is 01:20:56 I know if you're eating a fourth a cup of dog food. There's a business jargon term called dog fooding, which means companies actually use their own products to test them out and experience what it's really like. And so he did that literally. So dog fooding doesn't really have to do it to do with dog food. It'd be like if we were dog fooding this show, we'd only listen to this show to see if we liked it. So that's what he did. He had his own food for 30 days. And he did it all on YouTube.
Starting point is 01:21:20 He said it was tough. He said, I just missed normal food and lost 25 to 30 pounds. Wow. So, Valerie, it wasn't a game, but I enjoy talking with you. You too. And I just want to say, I'm really glad that we can get you guys down here now. Because I've always enjoyed listening to you, but I can never get you until I got up towards Knoxville. And now we can hear you every day.
Starting point is 01:21:43 and I really enjoy it. Oh, thanks. I appreciate you listening. And thanks for calling. I wish we had something. Can we give her something? I know. I feel like she...
Starting point is 01:21:49 Can we give her like a can of dog food or something? I mean, she really... Hey, I have three dogs. I have three dogs, three cats, and three chickens. Oh, wow. How big a piece of land do you have over there with nine animals? Not very big. It's big enough.
Starting point is 01:22:09 Big enough. They all get along. So, that's the plus. The chickens and the cats. Caps? Yes. Yes. The chickens, the cats get along better than the dogs than the chickens.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Well, this sounds like that riddle where you take the boat across with all the animals in it and one has to get out. You ever do that old thing back in school? No. There's like a fox and chicken and you have to get them all across that eating each other. Never mind. All right. Thank you, Valerie. Have a great day.
Starting point is 01:22:35 All right. You too. Bye-bye. I didn't know that seemed like a game. I was just doing a little tease to get people over. What was the other thing I told you guys? Oh, this couple, they had to attend their own wedding via live stream. They recently visited the village in that province of Wuhan and decided to live stream themselves to their own wedding from quarantine.
Starting point is 01:22:56 Wow. So they wouldn't harm their guests. I was watching CNN this morning and one of the reporters who went to report it was having to stay in quarantine. And he was reporting from quarantine. And the reason, again, I'll say it again, because people are like, why don't you report on the flu? because it's bigger. We just don't know what this disease is going to do is why it's a big news story.
Starting point is 01:23:15 It's not that it's bigger and badder than anything yet, but they can't figure it out, and that's why it's a big news story. Don't go to Facebook and read anything we post over there because people just yell at you. I went over there, I don't know how Morgan number two does it. I went over there yesterday for like five minutes, and I clicked on a couple things just to see what the folks were saying.
Starting point is 01:23:33 I like to get a temperature. You would think that we were the most hated show in the history of shows and all the negativity on there. What do they get? It doesn't, I don't know. Everything. They fight about the topic.
Starting point is 01:23:46 They fight with each other. They fight about how lame I am. They fight. If you were just to never listen to the show and go to our Facebook page, you would think that we were the most hated, controversial piece of content that ever existed. Yeah, we're not controversial at all. And if they don't like it and they think that you're lame,
Starting point is 01:24:05 which you're not, then why are they on the Facebook page and why are they even engaging in anything to do with the Bobby Bone Chow? Well, now you're being rational. Don't do that. So yesterday, we did a segment I thought was really fun. The guy came into lunchbox how much as Buffalo Nickel was worth. I had a lot of fun during that.
Starting point is 01:24:22 You go to the page, like worst segment in the history of the show. Really? I thought it was one of the best. Like I still, I would definitely put my chips in on that one. Yeah, he was a great set. And it wasn't just about he, the whole thing was good. Like, it took him 15 minutes to go look at the Buffalo Nickel. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:38 And they're like, stop doing that where you make people wait. He's in 15 minutes. Yeah, we were waiting too. It's not like we were like, go just sitting there. One day, I'm just going to be like I'm out of here. Okay. I'm just going to go to Facebook and send a retirement note after reading Facebook. Don't do that.
Starting point is 01:24:53 Done. Thank you guys. Let's see. Let's take Taylor in Arkansas real quick and see what's up over there. And then Taylor, you're on. Hi. Oh my gosh. Hi.
Starting point is 01:25:03 Good morning, studio. Morning. Hi. I know I don't have a whole lot of time. I mean, it seems like it's kind of old, but I was just kind of wanting an update about Amy and lunchbox's house wars. Amy? Oh, on my end, it's over.
Starting point is 01:25:16 We got my kids into a school where we didn't have to move. We were moving for their education, and we found a place for them to go. It's kind of a drive, but they're in and we don't have to move. So that is what we're doing. We're staying put for a little while. And lunchbox isn't moving either. Right.
Starting point is 01:25:32 They're not moving. So much ado about nothing, Taylor. Well, it was something for a minute. Yeah, it was a battle, but we're good. No. We're friends. Like every house there's on the market, we were looking at the same one. I was like, great.
Starting point is 01:25:44 I don't work a typical Monday through Friday work week, so I don't always catch every episode of the show and you guys haven't talked about it in a while, and I had kind of wondered what happened. Well, thank you. And you can always go back and listen to the podcast on IHart Radio or wherever you listen to your podcast. The whole show gets loaded right up there.
Starting point is 01:26:01 It's a great way to start your day. I'm just saying, I have asked everybody except people on Facebook about that, and they all agree. Taylor, thank you. Okay, thank you. All right. Goodbye. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 01:29:47 With Amy. Tell me something good. So Coors Light is doing something cool for Valentine's Day. And what they want you to do is like just ditch whatever your other plans were, whatever you got going on where they have a date or maybe you're alone. Who cares? Get yourself a new puppy or a rescue dog. And they want to cover the adoption fees.
Starting point is 01:30:09 Now they're going to, they've got, you have to apply for this. They have like a promotion page you can go to and fill everything out. But the first 1,000 eligible people, they're going to cover up to $100 of the fee. To qualify, you've got to be 21 or older and adopt a dog between now and February 21st. So, I mean, obviously the target would be around Valentine's Day and love. How do you go? What do you do? Coorslight.com.
Starting point is 01:30:33 I guess they have a promotion page. You can check out the details there and fill it out. But, you know, I mean, you're not drinking beer. I don't know why you have to be 21 or older. I mean, maybe. You like Coors Light? Is that a good one or no? No, I mean, when I drank beer, I don't, my dad loved Coors Light.
Starting point is 01:30:51 I liked Miller Light. I don't know if there's really a difference, but that was my. Okay, yeah. Eddie's kind of the beer expert. But who are you? I mean, what's cool about Coors Light is that the mountain turns blue when it's cold, the can. That's about it. Other than that, it's just a regular beer.
Starting point is 01:31:06 It's cheap, right? It's cheap. It's on the cheaper side of things. What's the best reasonable beer, like normal person beer? Miller light. But then you have the argument of Miller Light Bud Light. I think that's the big argument. And I think it's geographical too.
Starting point is 01:31:17 Oh, it's Miller Light then. That's easy. For me, Miller Light, my dad drank Miller Light. I drink Miller Light. But we're still shouting out of Korz Light here for covering this option. Yeah, there you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 01:31:28 Come on, Bobby. Nicole in Kansas is on right now. Hey, Nicole. Hey, Nicole. I just wanted to, hi. I just wanted to say that I came across to show by accident about eight years ago, and I've been listening to the show ever since every chance I can get. I really love the show.
Starting point is 01:32:00 And the most thing that I love about the show is all of the little stories that you all tell. It doesn't even matter what it is. Like, I enjoy every single bit of it. Well, thank you. Appreciate that. I'll actually see if you came across like last week. Just like eight years ago. That's for eight years.
Starting point is 01:32:16 Yeah, it's all by accident. I appreciate that. Hey, Nicole. Hope you have a great day. Thank you. You too, thanks. All right, bye-bye. A couple things, just a little upkeep here. Next week, I believe on Wednesday's show of next week, we will have Coach Monica from Cheer, which is pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:32:32 Super cool. Yeah, if you watch that show, she coaches the team, and we're going to have her on, which is good. Me and all the girls. Hanging out. Eddie, have you started it yet? Yeah, man, it's really good. And she's a boss, this Monica girl.
Starting point is 01:32:45 This Monica girl. Yeah. Oh, man. Coach Monica. She's literally the national championship coach of the junior college team. But man, just the way she handles herself and the way she just leads that group is amazing. Well, she'll be on Wednesday of next week. Marin Morris will be on tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:33:00 We're about five minutes away from Ramundo declaring a new groomsman in his wedding. How you feel about that? I'm excited. I want somebody else to join the frat, baby. I haven't looked on it. Have you looked under the desk? No, I have not. Are you doing that bit again?
Starting point is 01:33:13 No, no, no. There's no gimmicks or tricks. Okay. All right. Valerie in Indiana, you're on the show. Valerie, how are you? Good morning, studio. Morning.
Starting point is 01:33:25 I wanted to let you guys know that the Target song, love the Target song. My brother and I have been singing that since Christmas all the time. We annoy everybody because we sing it all the time. Oh, thanks. Thank you guys. And I wanted to find out about before Christmas, you and Eddie were like super excited about a new song called Jesus Knows,
Starting point is 01:33:45 but I haven't heard anything. Like, have you guys recorded it? Yeah, it's out. Jesus knows we put out like four or five months ago. Yeah, it's been out. So search wherever you listen to your music, Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots. Jesus knows came out on our live in Boston record.
Starting point is 01:33:59 This is a song that came out today that we put out. We played it live, but we've never put it out. So this is the raging idiots. I'm going to play the Target song in just one second. But here's what I'm going to do. Amy and I were talking. And so if you go and you stream this song and you take a screenshot and post it on your Instagram story,
Starting point is 01:34:14 just tag me. And I'll give away one. or two target gift cards. Which would be amazing. Because that's legal, right? I mean, don't question. Just be like, just do it. I can draw attention to it.
Starting point is 01:34:24 When you have to ask yourself, if it's legal? Because I don't know. Don't defer to me. I'll just message some people back to do it. Just tag at Mr. Bobby Bones and I'll give you a $50 dollar target gift card. Boom. And then do this too.
Starting point is 01:34:35 If you're streaming it, just push play and let it keep on a repeat and let it play over and over again when you leave the house. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get us a bunch of streams. Yeah. Just like leave the house and leave it going. Like this will be our own.
Starting point is 01:34:45 joke here at how big this song gets when really it's not that big at all. It's a good idea. What are you going to say? Well, yeah, if you don't look it up, if you don't know, you can claim innocence. Yeah, yeah. If you never know. So here's the target song from Search for the Target song from Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots.
Starting point is 01:35:01 We record this live in Little Rock, Arkansas, and here is our latest song. The Bobby Bones show. Well, how rotten is food poisoning? Oh, the worst. Right? It's just like, boom. And then you're just done. I had dinner with a friend last night, and he was talking about how.
Starting point is 01:35:15 how he got food poisoning, and he was on a vacation. And for 36 hours, he just couldn't move. And so I was looking up the things that you get the most food poisoned from. Here are the foods that you, by the way, don't eat them. Don't eat them. Okay. Ever? Especially if you're on vacation.
Starting point is 01:35:35 Don't eat them. Okay. One, two, three, four, five, six. There's eight of these. Oh, man. And number eight is tuna. What, just ate tuna. But like, Bruma.
Starting point is 01:35:45 Oh, okay. Oh, gosh. In a can. It doesn't matter. Really? The food poison happens the most. Okay, tuna. Number seven, mushrooms.
Starting point is 01:35:56 What? I just ate those. Eddie had one big food poison salad. Yeah, I had pepperoni mushroom pizza the other day. Number six, berries. Wait, you're eliminating food that I like. I'm just saying these are... You get mad at him.
Starting point is 01:36:12 Yeah. This is the list of when people get food poison. So like any berry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry. It's because of how they're kept. I wash mine. Okay. Shellfish. You can't wash them if you're a restaurant, though.
Starting point is 01:36:26 True. You don't take your berries into the bathroom. Shellfish like oysters? Any shellfish. 8, 7, 6, 5. At 5 is shellfish. At number four, this is the grossest list we've ever done with the drum roll. At number four, eggs.
Starting point is 01:36:41 Okay. Yeah. Jeez. Of course. We're now to the top three things that give people food. poisoning. Number three, fish. Okay, great. Number two, unpasteurized dairy. Talk to me about that. I don't know what that is. What's unpasturized dairy? Well, there's, I just know there's pasturite,
Starting point is 01:37:00 I'll tell you in a second. You don't know? I do, I know the difference. I don't, don't, just go from the gut. Just go from the gut. No. We're always right when we do that. Yeah, yeah, just go from now. Unpasturized dairy. Does that be like milk from the cow, like, directly? Soft cheeses such as Brie, Mexican-style soft cheese Such as Casso fresco, yogurt made from unpasteurized milk Pudding made from unpasteurized milk That's what that is. And the number one thing that causes food poisoning is sprouts
Starting point is 01:37:28 Because they're just not cleaned properly most of the time Whenever you don't get to clean them Oh man Sprouts are so good for you Well all that stuff is pretty much good for you I don't think I write anything on there that's bad for you But it's just how it's prepared and when it's not clean cleaned exactly right, you get sick off that the easiest.
Starting point is 01:37:46 And if you ever been wrong about food poisoning, it's not good. It's like an earthquake in your body. Yeah. Just shaking it. What did you find over there? Well, do you know that juice can be also unpasteurized? Stay away from that, too. What, just unpasturized?
Starting point is 01:38:02 Well, then what's the benefit of getting out of pasteurized stuff? I have no idea. I don't even know what pasteurized means. We need like an expert to explain that. On yesterday's show, we talked about this. Scientific study that listed the hottest celebrities based on symmetry in their face, and George Clooney 5, Brad Pitt 4, Bradley Cooper 3, Henry Cavill at 2. Is that he say his name?
Starting point is 01:38:26 And he's from Superman, the movie, and then The Witcher on Netflix, and then Robert Pattinson was it number one. We gave our thoughts, and listen, I think I spent 10 minutes talking about the hottest guys to me. You can hear that on yesterday's show. But Lunchbox went out and asked people on the streets, who he thought was the hottest male celebrity. I know a lot of people say Blake Shelton. What do you like about Blake Shelton?
Starting point is 01:38:51 Not me personally, but friends. Okay. What about you? Oh, Randy Travis. Oh, what do you like about Randy Travis? I just like him. I like his voice. Sexy.
Starting point is 01:39:04 We talk about a guy that was good looking when he was younger. It was Randy Travis for sure. Yeah. Here's lunchbox on the streets talking again to somebody else. Oh, who's that one guy? He plays in that one movie. I can't think of it. What's the movie?
Starting point is 01:39:17 I can't think of it. I've had too many drinks. Okay, okay. You can't think... He's a big burly guy. He was a wrestler, but he's not a wrestler anymore. The Rock. The Rock.
Starting point is 01:39:27 There you go. The Rock. What is it about the Rock? I just love his masculinity. He's just so masculine. Thank you so much. Hey, she's having a good time. I do a couple of things stuck out to me there.
Starting point is 01:39:43 I thought the rock was just so famous that you would know who he was. Not, you know that guy that's thick? He was a wrestler. Yeah. I guess the rock, to me, is one of the most famous people now in America. But also,
Starting point is 01:39:57 she's like, the wrestler, he's thick. I'm like, you know, where's the white thing? There's a little thing on his head. What's his name? The pope. That's what he kind of felt like. And then the rock is so big. Is that attractive?
Starting point is 01:40:10 Is he too big? I think he's too big for my liking. but I do like him. I think I just like him for some reason as... I like him too as a person. Yeah, I don't know him, but I think he's cool. And I can usually tell when guys are hot. But I'm not attracted to him.
Starting point is 01:40:25 But the rock just seems so big. So you're not attracted to him? Not at all. But if you saw him, I don't think you could resist doing your thing where you touch his bicep. I only did that to one person ever. That's not my thing. Let's stop that. Let's stop that.
Starting point is 01:40:37 Here is Lunchbox again, talking to somebody asking him who their hottest male celebrity is. Rob Lowe. Why Rob Lowe? Because he's hot. Well, what's hot about him? His asses. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:40:47 That guy is really good looking for a long period of time. Still really good looking. Yeah. We'll do a couple more here. Channing Tatum. What is it about Channing Tatum that you go, woo, woo, woo. He's just cute. You like Channing Tatum?
Starting point is 01:41:02 Yes. I don't really get that one. I know he's musklinger can dance, but I don't see it. You don't see it even when you watch Step Up to the Streets? I never seen that. Okay. Let's do one more. Oh, what's his name?
Starting point is 01:41:12 The guy off the notebook. Who's that? Oh, Ryan Gosselin. Yeah, Ryan Gosselin. What is it about Ryan Gosseling? I don't know. He has like a baby face. But he's cute, too.
Starting point is 01:41:21 And Ryan Gossling seems approachable. Like, I could just walk up and take him on a date. Probably couldn't, though. What is that movie he did with the, where they did the lift, the dirty dancing lift in the movie? But it's one of your favorite. Yes. Yeah, I don't remember. Oh, shoot.
Starting point is 01:41:33 That was the one where he became very attractive to me. Attractive to you. Attractive to you. Oh, wow. You know what I mean I was reading an excerpt from Jessica Simpson's new book Because I'm not going to read her book Oh, I'm going to.
Starting point is 01:41:47 Well, she talks about how she was offered The role of the notebook Across from Ryan Gosling. Oh, she could see her doing that. But there was a sex scene in it And she didn't feel comfortable doing it so she didn't take it. Oh, wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:58 That's always interesting to me to hear roles that people didn't take and you look back and go, what a doofus. Because I have a couple of those that I was like, oh, man, I can't move it and take that. I'm still okay. There's only one that's close to me being though, but I'm glad I didn't.
Starting point is 01:42:13 But I was offered a judge and the mass singer. I didn't take it. Oh, yeah. I'm glad I did, Nick. I like my choice now because I like where I am now. But another couple good seasons is that show. I've been like kicking myself. But again, I got to be on American Idol.
Starting point is 01:42:26 A huge show. Got to do Dancing with the Stars. I got to win that. I think for me it was a smarter move, but that was a tough one. That was a tough one. Thank you. Good job, Lunchbox. Let's do, here's one.
Starting point is 01:42:37 I'll do one more. Do number 11, Raymondo. I think Jay, What about Jason Mamoa? Oh, he's just sexy. What makes him sexy, though? He's a long hair. He's like rough and big and yeah, definitely.
Starting point is 01:42:51 No, I would definitely think Jason Momoa. Is she, like, did you like go into like a phone sex? Yeah, where are you? In a bar? She's like, hey. Yeah, it was a little bit quieter. I like Jason Mamoa. And he's like, tell me more.
Starting point is 01:43:04 Everything else is on the streets. This one was. She definitely was not on the street. No, it was in the bar because it started raining. And so she was sitting there by herself And I was like, I'll just ask this chick. He's like, hey. Let's go back to the champagne room and ask you a question.
Starting point is 01:43:17 Did you what? Did you see the Jason Momoa taking a bubble bath on Instagram? Check it out. He's too big for me to think so. I guess we're both not into like the really big guys. Yeah, more, you know, I like the leaner guys. But it was cute watching him take a bubble bath for some reason.
Starting point is 01:43:35 The Super Bowl commercial he did was funny where he peels off his muscles. It was great. Then he ends up being a skinny guy. Oh. Do you see that one? I didn't. It was really good. And also, I don't think I've, I watched Game of Thrones when he was in that, but I didn't watch any.
Starting point is 01:43:47 You watch Akoman, Morgan? Yeah, I did. Yeah. I love Jason Momoa. Whoa. He's attracted to me. She sounds like the girl in the booth. No, he's just, I don't know why.
Starting point is 01:43:58 He's all big. Play that again, Ramon, number 11, just a little bit of it. I think Jason Mamoa. What about Jason Mamoa? What makes him sexy, though? He's a long hair. He's like. the kitchen.
Starting point is 01:44:11 Where are you? Where are you? I'm at Jason Aldeen's bar. That's not a bar. I don't think that's not a bar. I'm telling you. Play that again. I think Jason Mamoa.
Starting point is 01:44:19 What about Jason Mamoa? One of these clips don't sound like the rest of them. Uh-huh. Okay. Interesting. Interesting indeed. People are really loving the Luke Combs, Bobbycast, I guess mostly because there's not a place where you can go and listen to Luke Combs talk for an hour. We just sat and talked about his life and got to know Luke Combs.
Starting point is 01:48:17 And so the latest episode of the Bobbycast, Luke Combs was talking about how someone scammed his credit card in New York City. Have you guys heard this story? No. And then they went and bought a bunch of shoes. I went to the Nike store in New York City, and then I went to the Adidas store. And my business manager was like, hey, did you just buy $600 worth of shoes at the Nike store? and then $600 worth of shoes at the Adidas store. And I didn't.
Starting point is 01:48:40 I didn't buy anything at the stores. But someone in the store had skinned my wallet while I was in there. They can magnetize it without even touching it now. They can just... I'd never heard of that. Yeah, it's pretty wild. So it's almost like a sensor to magnetize it to take it more so than swiping it. So now he has this wallet that zips and has like a magnetic cover on the outside of it.
Starting point is 01:49:00 That's what my husband has like, he doesn't have the whole wallet, but he has little sleeves that all of his credit guards go into that protect. it from that sort of thing and I always roll my eyes at him, but now I guess I'm like, okay, you're probably right. Well, Luke Combs was talking about too, how he protects himself like that in a lot of ways. So the wallet was in his pocket. That's crazy. Also, he talked about how he used to save money in a bank bag in his apartment.
Starting point is 01:49:22 And so that's where the money was coming from was that these sellout bonuses on these club shows. I remember getting to thinking I had like five or $6,000 in my apartment, you know? And I was like, man, like, somebody could just walk in here and like take this. So I had like a Folgers can. And instead of putting just the money in there, I put it in the bank bag and then rolled the bank bag up and put it in there. It was back like behind my microwave on my counter.
Starting point is 01:49:46 So it's a really good hour and 15 minute or so talk with Luke Combs. Search for the Bobbycast, which is the podcast that I do. That's mostly just music intensive. We talk about songwriters and artists and performers and producers. And sometimes Eddie and I'll get on and talk about some of the history. We got a couple cool things we're going to talk about. this weekend. One of them are bands, I think, where they hated each other in the band. We got to do that one this weekend?
Starting point is 01:50:12 I bet people didn't really know. I bet there's a lot of them. Yeah, like Aerosmith. Maroon 5 maybe, is that one of them? Or is that the other one? What's the other one we're going to do? Oh, really successful bands that people have, for some reason, hate. Like nickel band, creed, which unfairly. Nickelback? Nickel back. Not nickel band. I didn't know if that was a band I didn't know of it. You know what?
Starting point is 01:50:36 It is nickel back. So we do a lot of that stuff too on the Bobbycast. And the IHartRadio app is so good for podcasts. If there's a podcast, man, they have it. And check it out. Amy has the Four Things with Amy Brown podcast. Do you have a new episode going up today? Yes.
Starting point is 01:50:49 It's with the founder of Ciette Foods. And she has a really interesting story. And my sister's on it with me for a little bit too. And we get into some cool things. Here's what's annoying about Ciette chips. Here we go. Well, it's that they sent me this box of these Christmas crisps that were so good.
Starting point is 01:51:06 Cinnamon, yeah. But they didn't send me three bags. They sent me like 14 bags. And I will eat, there was so good that I just wouldn't stop eating them. And so I started to give them out to Christmas gifts
Starting point is 01:51:15 because I just needed to get them out of my house. That ciette chip, whatever, how do you say they're Ciettes? They are so good. And are they, is it, are they healthy-ish? Yes, well, the ingredients are clean. She has an autoimmune disease
Starting point is 01:51:27 so she can't eat like corn chips with her family and she's Mexican-American, so she created tortillas and chips and stuff that her body can handle. Well, Tell her I'm annoyed that they're so good. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:38 So she's on your four things with Amy Brown today. It's pretty cool. She started with just making tortillas in her kitchen at home and now they're in Target and Whole Foods and Amazon and everywhere. So it's pretty awesome. Four Things with Amy Brown. Be sure to check that podcast out as well. Don't forget, you can check out the new song from The Raging Idiots.
Starting point is 01:51:56 We put up a song today called The Target song. It's from our live and Little Rock record that'll come out real soon. But it's a live, funny song. And everybody's tagging me on it. And I appreciate that on your Instagram story. So just write, it's the funniest song you ever heard, and then tag me on it, and I'll share some of them. And what I've decided to is I'll give somebody who tags me a $50 target gift card. Oh, that's awesome.
Starting point is 01:52:16 I'll just message them. All right. It's not like a real contest. I'll just. It's not a real contest. It's like a card you bought. Yeah. That's what I'm going to do.
Starting point is 01:52:23 Yeah. I'm going to take a screenshot, the Target song for The Raging Idiots and, or, you know, tag me on Instagram, and then I'll just give somebody a $50,000 target card. Is that legal? Is that legal? I mean, whatever. Sure. It's your Instagram. Don't talk about it.
Starting point is 01:52:36 Well, I don't know. There's all those kinds of rules. I know. You never know. My Instagram is Mr. Bobby Bones. If you missed the show today, Morgan number two, what happened today? Well, Amy did something really crazy with her feet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:52:49 I mean, even I was impressed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of weirdos are hitting this up now. What else? Lunchbox called theaters to find out how much it would cost to rent them. Yeah, we've always wondered how much would it be to rent an entire theater because it's what celebrities do. Yeah, some shocking answers. And then?
Starting point is 01:53:06 And Ramundo and I don't know. announce his fifth groomsman. And then Amy's son almost got her in trouble with Instagram. There we go. All that is up. Check it out. The Bobby Bone Show on demand. Wherever you listen to your podcast, you search Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 01:53:20 If you're searching on IHeart Radio, search for the Bobby Bone Show on demand because you can hear it from beginning to end. Because there's also the loop that plays nonstop. I prefer to check it on demand because I can start from the post show pre-show all the way through. Yeah. So there you go. Amy, what's up today with you? Well, yesterday my pantry got ripped out by California closets, and I thought they were doing it all in one day, and I was like, wow, that's impressive.
Starting point is 01:53:41 Y'all rip it out and put the new one in, but I was mistaken. The new one goes in today. So it's all empty and all my food and everything on my dining room table. So I assume once the install happens this afternoon, I'll be putting it all back together. And then just hanging out. My sister leaves today, so I'll hang out with her until she goes. What about you? Caitlin comes in today.
Starting point is 01:54:00 Oh, yeah. She'll be here. That's right. So today, all the way through Sunday night. So that'd be a good four days or so here And then I go out there for a couple days next week And then she comes back out here So now we're in a good mode of seeing each other
Starting point is 01:54:13 At least Because we went for two weeks without Yeah, and that's the longest Yeah, I think so We just live right down the road from each other Mm-hmm, 4,000 miles 2,000, easy Oh
Starting point is 01:54:23 Sorry I actually did the map To see what, it's 1,999 miles Wow Yeah, yeah, yeah Less than 2,000 Did you send her that? No, because she was like,
Starting point is 01:54:33 We live 2,000 miles away I was like, no, we don't. We live 1,995 miles away. Oh, you were settling in an argument, got it. Yeah. A disagreement. You know me. I know you.
Starting point is 01:54:41 I know you. Thank you guys. Hope you have a great Thursday. We will see you tomorrow. Tomorrow on the show, Marin Morris. There we go. I had a look at Mike. I'd be like, who's on? Because here's what's happening.
Starting point is 01:54:52 Tomorrow, Marin Morris, next week, midweek, coach Monica from Cheer, and then Tim McGraw next Friday. Wow, okay. We got a big one. We've got a big one. We'll see you guys. Have a wonderful Thursday. See you tomorrow.
