The Bobby Bones, Post-Show, Pre-show.
Hey, that Pope Ice Chicken Sandwich is coming back.
And we talked about that in a pile.
on Friday and how they're hiring new people
just because of the chicken sandwich.
They got to bring people in.
It takes about 10 minutes to make each sandwich, apparently.
What?
I know.
Why so long?
I guess because they're so good.
I don't know.
A little bit, I want to...
There's no way it's going to live up to the hype though.
Yeah, I'm kind of over it.
I'm not over it.
I'm very anxious to try it, but it's like a movie that's great.
It can be really good, and you're still like,
duh, didn't live up to the hype.
There are certain hypes that you just can't live up to.
and food hype is almost that hype
and it's all because they ran out of it
like that's crazy
that they just ran out of it so now everyone's hyping it
well they ran out because it was so good
like cause and effect
but I will try it
I bet I think it's good but there's no way
it's as good as it's now turned into
it's like the Joker
thought the Joker was good
and everybody's like it's like if you go to the Joker
thinking it's the best movie that you're ever going to see
you're going to be disappointed
you almost wish you hadn't heard the hype
going into it because then it's that much better.
Yeah. So I
will try a chicken sandwich if I can get
one. I will too. I saw on Oprah's
Instagram, she was eating a pancake, talking about how is the best pancake
she ever had in her life. And then
she also wrote on there, she's like, I couldn't get
the chicken sandwich. She couldn't get a
Pop-Bice chicken sandwich. Wow.
If Oprah can't get it,
what's our luck at getting? Yeah, not
probably not going to happen. So your interest
in the Popeye's chicken sandwich, Amy, one through
10? 10. Yeah, I'm about
I just need a bite. I'm about an
Eight. I need to see.
I don't need to eat the whole thing, but I've got to try it.
Lunchbox had one.
I've been there, done that.
I went to one.
It was out, so I said, hey, I'll drive across town and find another Popeyes, and they had it,
and it's better than the Chick-fil-A.
Eddie?
One.
If it's in front of me, I'll eat it, but I'm not going to go search for this chicken sandwich.
But that's not a one, though.
That's five.
Is it?
Five is middle.
So one's like, I'm just not going to taste it?
One's like I hate it.
No, no, I don't hate it.
One's like you're a vegetarian.
No, no, okay, five then.
Not to make you change your number pick,
but I would say that five is, in my scale, would be middle.
Yeah, well, where I stand is just like,
I'm not going to search this chicken sandwich.
It ends up on my lap, I'll eat it.
Speaking of Instagram,
Justin Bieber has posted on his Instagram that he will release new music
if his Instagram post gets 20 million likes.
Now, currently it's at 5 million.
The record is at 18 million.
Wow.
Set by Kylie Jenner.
What?
It hits six now.
Oh, is it six now?
Interesting.
Interesting.
Interesting.
What if I said,
we're not going to put out
the target something
the raging idiots until we get
how many?
A million likes.
Ooh, that's a lot.
We wouldn't get it.
We wouldn't hit it at all.
No, God, no.
We'd probably get 500 or something.
He has 120 million followers.
You would think with 20 million
followers
that he could get
with a hundred 20 million followers
he could get 20 million likes.
I just liked it and it's almost a 7 million.
Yeah, I see it.
It's 6,926,000.
And then did you see me?
me just add to it.
I follow Justin Bieber's cats.
Oh yeah?
I was thinking about getting a dog Instagram.
Yeah.
Because I don't want to do that, though.
I want to run two pages.
I want my dog to get a big head.
Your dog's not going to know.
I don't know.
He already doesn't listen.
Can you imagine you get some Instagram fame?
When he knows he has millions of followers?
But I was thinking about that
because I wanted to take him as my date
to the CMT Awards.
haven't walked the red carpet with me.
Cute.
Not quite trained enough, but he's that kind of dog.
Yeah.
That would be fine to take...
He's not big.
He's not going to attack anybody.
But I saw Doug the Pug and the Jumbotron yesterday, and I was like, my dog's cooler than Doug the Pug.
I could do that.
Yeah, I don't understand the hype with Doug the Pug.
It's great.
It's just a dog.
Yeah, it's a fun pug.
They do a great job at getting Doug the Pug out.
Yeah.
I can respect that.
It's Doug the Pug as 3.8 million followers.
It's crazy
Crazy, huh? Good for them
I've met Doug the Pug a couple times
Have you?
Mm-hmm
I saw him somewhere
They just had a good job at picking the right time and place
It's not like he's a pug with
You know, three eyes
It's just a cute pug
The Samsung space satellite fell out of the sky
I don't know if you guys saw this in the news
And landed at somebody's backyard
Whoa
The freaking satellite
Wow
Yeah
Is everybody okay?
Yeah, luckily.
A Samsung satellite fell from the sky Saturday morning in a rural Michigan neighborhood.
Nancy Welkard of the crash around 8.45 a.m. just before she and her husband, we're going to let their horses out.
There's a crash. If it had landed on somebody's head.
That stuff doesn't burn up.
That's how you die.
Oh, that's better than lightning.
A freaking satellite.
Satellite.
It's big.
Like, it's not like a little thing.
It's big.
Really?
It looks like.
Yeah, Eddie's right.
It doesn't burn up.
A lemonade stand.
That's the size of it.
Like a side of the road lemonade stand.
A kid sets up.
It fell out of the sky onto the ground.
Yeah, I thought all that stuff just burned up before it hit the ground.
Some of it may have, or I don't know how high it was.
Yeah, good point.
So I'm not sure if it reached over that or not.
Let me see the story about the really easy way to lose weight.
I love these stories.
Tell me more.
I know.
I'm going to tell you my weight.
Only eat an eight hour block.
Yeah, what do you call that?
I call it the power eight hour, the eight hour power eating.
I'm going to come up with the name.
Yeah.
I saw Amy at the grocery store yesterday.
Like I, we were in the same part of town and she texted me and she goes, hey, I just pass you?
I was like, yeah.
And she was like, I'm going to turnip truck.
And I didn't know what that turnip truck.
It's called five points.
Yeah.
I don't know what that was.
Yeah.
And I didn't find it.
And so I was like, it's where I'm going.
And so I turned in and then I'm walking.
I'm just going to get a smoothie.
And my 5 o'clock window was closing to eat.
Yeah, by the time he drove to get home, his eating window would have been over.
Yeah.
So I knew I had to get something right then.
And so I saw Amy and her son at the store.
And I was drinking a smoothie.
And he wanted a smoothie.
And Amy had to make the deal with him.
This is all you're going to eat for dinner.
She's like, you can't have a smoothie.
We're about to eat dinner.
And he's like, I want the smoothie.
He's like, I want what Bobby got.
I want to be like Bobby.
And so he wanted boiled eggs that was up on the bar.
They have like a fresh bar.
She's like, we're going to eat dinner.
And he's like, I want the eggs for dinner.
And she's like, all you're going to eat.
eggs and a smoothie. I was like, Stevenson's all you're going to eat. And did he only eat eggs and
smoothie for dinner? What he ate for dinner? Really? Yeah, he drank the smoothie and then
probably an hour after that. He said, okay, can I have my eggs now? So I pulled him out of the
fridge. Two boiled eggs. Stasheera had spaghetti with meat sauce and like a salad, like this whole meal
of apple. Stevenson had that smoothie at like 430 and then later had boiled eggs. But I,
that was the deal. Because I'm not just going to buy him a smoothie any old time. They're
expensive. I commend you.
Because you told him, if we get this, this is going to be your dinner.
We're only getting dinner right here.
And he's like, I want it.
She's like, no, no, no, no.
I'm being serious, Stevenson.
This is your dinner.
If you want that.
He goes, I want the eggs, want the smoothie.
And that's what he had.
Yep.
Yeah.
Good for you.
Thanks.
Was he sad about it?
No, I think he knew it was kind of the deal.
I mean, he looked at me a little confused at home.
Like, for real, mom.
For real.
And I said the eggs are in the fridge.
So he did it.
He ate both of them.
Two hard boiled eggs.
So he did. He got a healthy fruit smoothie and then he had some protein.
The reason I bring up this weight loss story, it reminded me of Amy and going to the healthy food store.
But I do this, like naturally.
What is it?
How to lose weight. I do this already.
They say eat the same food over and over and over again.
Why do you think that is?
I don't do it because of this.
I do it because I just like the same thing.
I like to know what I'm getting myself into every day.
I don't know if your body gets, I don't know.
some things are going through my mind, this might be wrong.
Your body gets used to burning in a certain way, so it's like, okay, we got this, we're going to take care of this.
Digesting is no problem.
It's interesting. It's interesting theory.
Or it's that you don't really focus on food.
You're not fixated on all the different things that you're eating.
It just, it's like, okay, this is my meal.
I'm going to eat it and you don't end up overeating.
I would guess that you get tired of the same food so you don't eat as much.
Variety is not good for your waistline because if it's new stuff, you're like, oh, let me try some more of that.
Okay.
Let me have some more of that.
So if you eat the same thing over and over again, yeah, you're kind of like, all right, I don't need to overeat because I already know what this is going to do.
So they say that eating the exact same foods, it's good for you because of that.
Not so much about what the body's doing with it, but because it's just your brain.
Because you do get something new and good.
You want to have like extra.
Like, I may not have this again because I didn't get it before.
So you have a bunch of it.
I saw that.
There are some stuff I want to hold for tomorrow's show because I think it's so interesting.
I'm just going to go to it.
Ray has been on Chris Lane's
Instagram. Oh dear.
Writing in the comments section.
True or false?
True.
As charged.
Chris Lane is a country artist
who sings songs like,
I'll be your fix.
That one.
And then he sings, what was his last song?
What's your name? What's your sign?
What's your birthday, right?
And so he just got engaged
and married to Lauren Bushnell.
And Ray was writing him asking for advice
on how to propose.
On his public Instagram, on the, in the...
Well, and people liked it, too.
They thought it was pretty funny because the guy got proposed, he proposed, did a song,
and did the wedding all in the past four months.
Give your boy some advice, man.
You're doing it right.
That was slick.
We're all giving you advice.
People that have been married happily for years and years and years.
I know, but also at the same time,
and it would be pretty cool if he responded back,
hey, man, here's how you can do it.
I've actually got a couple lyrics that I've already wrote,
and you could use, and we could maybe cut a song together.
Do you find you get a lot of followers from pop up,
on these profiles and writing comments?
No, but I did find, even on SportsCenters, I'll do it on, I'll get liked.
I see you all the time on there.
Yeah.
I'll be scrolling SportsCenter and they're talking about Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and Ray's
trolling the page.
Oh my gosh.
Writing funny comments.
I like to see if other people think that I'm funny outside of my friends and family.
The problem with Instagram and the comments is you forget where you've written it
and it's hard to go find them sometimes.
You just got to click on it.
It'll show your post and you just click on it and then it goes right to it so you don't
have to scroll through.
But I even forget what things I post on it.
I wish there was something that kept track of it.
Yeah, there should be.
That's an invention.
I don't know if it's an...
Yeah, it's an added...
Yeah.
Feature.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Tomorrow on the show, Morgan number two reviews,
Man on the Moon, the movie that she drew...
Oh, yes.
And she drew mine.
Don't take it out on me that...
I thought yours was entertaining,
but I was talking over the weekend to someone about...
Sweet Home Alabama.
I was like, didn't you have a problem
with him calling the wedding off at the...
With her calling the wedding off at the wedding
that he just paid for it?
And did the person you were talking to have a problem?
They were like, I didn't think about it.
They were like, I watched it so long ago.
Right.
They were like, I watched it so long ago.
I was like, yeah, that's bad culture.
So now, if you're marrying somebody and she calls it off at the wedding
when she had the chance to call it up before.
And then I said, I also had a problem with him going, uh, I get it.
And then just walking out of the scene.
I think the fact that you're still talking about it makes me think that you
like that movie.
I didn't think the movie.
No, no.
Hold on.
You gave it like a 2.5 or something.
At a 5, which is a C.
Yeah.
You're talking about it a lot.
Yeah, you are. You're hanging on to it.
Because it's a very popular movie that I, and it's also a bit we're doing, and I wouldn't have gotten back into it had not been teasing the bit.
But I think you enjoyed it.
I thought it was pretty good.
But there were major holes in it that I couldn't live with.
I couldn't live with the fact that they made the villain a good dude.
I couldn't live with the fact that he called off the wedding, that she called off the wedding that he made in her hometown during the wedding.
And I couldn't live with the fact that he goes, oh, we cool.
What are you talking about?
I'm burning that place down.
But don't, my point is, don't take it out on me.
I'm not going to.
I took some time to deal with my anger of your review.
Let me ask you this, because we'll get the review tomorrow.
Let me ask you this.
Did you Wikipedia anything after the movie?
And like Google anything.
No, and I'm specifically not because I want to talk to you about it first.
Okay, fair.
Any history movie, I always Wikipedia Google.
Me too.
Even, not a movie, but the series,
unbelievable.
The crime one?
Unbelievable.
I googled and found all the people
from that. I don't want to say anything about it.
Okay, we'll leave it there.
I have a meeting I've got to get to.
So, appreciate, let me say this,
and I'll mention it later on. I have a great
Bobbycast up. It is an interview with
Josh Keir, who has 14 number ones, but
he wrote before he cheats for Gretchen Wilson.
Obviously, that's not Gretchen Wilson.
That's Carrie Underwood.
Hear that story.
It's fantastic.
Just really enjoyed the time.
We did it Friday evening.
Because I haven't been to town a whole bunch.
So Friday night.
We've done the last couple on Friday nights.
Have a great day.

Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
Bobby Bones.
Hey, welcome to Monday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Let's see what's happening with everybody.
Time for what's the haps.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hats?
What's up with you?
Well, for a lot of my teenage years, I work maintenance on a golf course.
Yeah.
And so what I would do was I would weed eat and I would mow the greens and it was a really not fun job.
I'm not a morning person.
I know it's morning right now.
I'm just not a morning person.
It wasn't for me.
We used to have to also rake leaves in the fall.
We have to rake the leaves off the greens,
rake the leaves out.
And I was reading this story.
And this is to you, Eddie, too, yard work guy.
Okay.
They say that you should not rake leaves if you want to have a nice green lawn.
Oh.
Instead, the smart thing to do is to run your lawnmower over them,
crunching them up into nice small pieces,
and that goes into the earth.
That's mulch.
It delivers new.
nutrients to your lawn, and then in the spring, it leaves you with a greener grass.
I used to also rake leaves for money, like yards.
Yeah.
At the end of the day, it saves you time on raking leaves, bag in the leaves, finding a place to dispose of them.
Although we used to burn them, that's not good.
And then your yard isn't as clean.
So you don't have to rake leaves.
Tell your husband.
Yeah, but I mean, you just mow right over them.
Yeah.
And then it just turns them in small little leaves and then goes into the grass.
That's cool.
Chop it up.
Anyway, the more you know, we even do that.
And what's the next?
I love that.
Oh, man.
Hey.
Hey, boy, there we go.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
Amy, what's up?
I just have one of those moments where it's like a dumb way that you hurt yourself because
I wasn't paying attention.
I was looking down on my phone instead of looking at where I was walking.
And I fell off a curb.
I didn't like totally eat it.
But I mean, I tripped and stumbled to where it's embarrassing enough where you're like,
oh, you know, who just saw that?
And then I thought I was fine.
And then probably like 20 minutes later, after being in my car, I got out of the car and I put pressure down on my ankle area.
And it like was so irritated, almost like I had just run, you know, 10 miles without stretching and like pulled something.
But no, it's because I stepped off the curve wrong because I was on my phone.
Your back is messed up because you fell at the airport.
Yeah.
And now your ankle is messed up because you texting.
Yeah.
The ankle shin area where it goes right up your, yes, it's just so tender.
It's fine.
Like I can walk, but it was a dumb mistake.
because, you know, now if I wanted to go for a run, I couldn't.
But you probably wouldn't have wanted to any right.
Yeah, but if I did.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
Lunchbox?
I had a bad dad moment.
We were out to dinner this weekend, and I order milk for the kid.
One year's old, he drinks milk.
And every time he would take a sip of the milk, he would get the bitter beer face kind of look.
And I thought he was just being funny because then he'd keep drinking it.
And then finally, my wife's like, did you taste the milk before you gave it to him?
I was like, no.
So then I take it.
It was sour milk.
It was expired milk.
And I was like, oh no, oh no, oh no.
And I just thought he was being funny.
And he had drinking half a cup of the sour milk.
My bad.
Are you supposed to drink everything your kid drinks before?
I guess so.
My wife's like, I think we should probably drink it before we give it to him from now on.
And I was like, yeah, that's my bad.
I just thought he was being funny because you do the face.
And I was like, oh, yeah, it's a funny face.
Eddie, did you drink your kid stuff?
Not really.
You'd give it the little smell.
If it looked old, that smells fine.
Did you smell it at least?
No, it's in a sippy cup, man.
It looks like a kid's milk.
There you go.
Hey, what's the hatch?
Finally, producer Eddie, what's up?
Well, I have some great news, guys.
A couple weeks ago, I mentioned that I felt like I had a lump in my throat.
Well, I finally went to the doctor, got it checked out.
It's nothing bad, he says.
Nothing to worry about.
It could just be phlegm getting stuck in my esophagus.
It's bad allergies.
And he gave me a remedy for the next six months that I should try.
And it goes away, we're good.
If it doesn't, then we may have a problem.
Eddie was walking around saying that he had a polyp in his throat.
Yeah.
Because, like, Keith Urban had one.
And Jimmy from Little Big Town had one.
And he's like, I don't know if I could finish the raging idiots tour.
I got a polyp in my throat.
And the doctor was so cool to me.
He's like, tell me about your tour.
How much do you sing?
And I'm a lot, doctor.
You know, I'm a musician.
And I talk on the radio.
And I felt so special.
But he's like, it's probably just some flam.
You're fine.
So it's allergies?
Yeah, I think so.
I hope so.
Hey.
Hey.
What's the hat?
Hey, glad you guys are here.
That's what's happening with us.
Let's do Russell Dickerson,
every little thing here on the Bobby Bone Show.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Big Three Stories.
Ramundo, what you got?
In California, they continue to turn off the power at times.
Over 3 million people to help prevent the spread of those wildfires.
They continue to burn.
In other news, President Donald Trump announced that we killed a major leader for ISIS overseas.
So that's awesome news.
And finally, in the World Series, the Houston Astros won again last night over the Washington Nationals.
They now lead the best of seven series, three games,
to two. Back to you, Bones.
All right, that's the news coming up.
We have a caller on who wants to argue with me about a point that I made last week.
And that's fine. We'll put it on.
Also, we got a bonehead from Lunchbox where two guys try to steal a car, except they can't figure the car out.
That comes up, and Amy versus Lunchbox coming up too.
Got a good show for you. Thanks for hanging out.

The Bobby Bone Show.
Over to Tyler in Ohio.
Tyler, what's happening?
Hey, Bobby.
I'm so excited to you and be talking to you.
Like, my heart is pounding.
Oh, well, thank you.
I appreciate that.
What would you like to talk about?
So I have a question for you.
Yesterday, you said that you didn't like Sweet Home Alabama
because you couldn't, like, root against a bad guy,
which obviously he isn't a bad guy.
But what do you think of, oh my gosh, I'm losing my mind
because I'm anxious.
Let me reset this for a second.
Last week we were talking about Sweet Home Alabama,
and I watched it and thought it was fine.
I said I really just struggled, though, with the villain on the movie is actually a good dude,
and it's fine.
Sometimes you fall out of love, but he threw her a humongous wedding,
and she waited until the wedding when everyone was there,
walking down the aisle to dump this good dude.
And I thought to myself, I can, I can.
I can't even be with that
Like she should have the common courtesy
To at least keep him from running down
Walking down the aisle and humiliating him
In front of thousands of people
Because he wasn't a villain
I struggle with that in my heart
Tyler
Okay yes go ahead
But what do you think about the notebook then
Because
That guy wasn't a bad guy either
But she left him to go be with her
As well
I don't have a problem with somebody leaving someone
I have a problem with him throwing a humongous
wedding
going through, jumping through all the hoops.
And not even then.
In Sweet Home Alabama, Amy, she could have broken up with him
right before the wedding and I'd have been like, ooh, stinks for him.
She let it get to the aisle.
They're in the middle of everyone and she breaks up with them in front of everybody.
Right.
In a tuxedo.
She couldn't even go through with the marriage and not,
there's just so many ways I would have not done.
It was just such a bad move.
It was not classy.
I struggle with that.
Yeah.
But sometimes you don't, you can't make.
the decision to write when it's down to the wire and you're like, oh my gosh.
You do one of two things. You do it right before it happens or you go out and finish that
and then you do it right afterward. I know, but it's a movie. Exactly. And I don't have to love it.
Oh, yeah. That's why I gave it 2.5 Alabama's out of five. That is so low. Yeah. The whole
the shot. The whole plot was shot. And they made the, and the villain's mom was Murphy Brown. How do you
not like Murphy Brown.
Yeah, it's not the same as the notebook.
Tyler, don't you dare insult the notebook.
I love the notebook, but I like Sweet Home Alabama too.
If you watch it again and put yourself in his shoes, you're going to think that's not as good as I used to think it was.
Yeah, I can see those sides, but I'm still hosting with Amy and go with Sweet Home Alabama.
Well, you, and I wasn't, it was not a popular opinion for me to only give a 2.5 out of five Alabama's.
That's true, that's true.
But I have to speak.
I've got a lot of stuff.
for that.
I have to speak my truth.
Hey, well, thank you for the call.
Thank you for bringing up a great point.
As you can say, I'm very passionate about this.
And by the way, Reese Wetherspoon's daughter now looks just like Reese Witherspoon did in Sweet Home Alabama.
Yeah, exactly.
Genetics or something.
Tyler, thank you for listening.
How long have you been listening to the show?
Oh, for so many years.
I appreciate that.
Like, I listened to you in Ohio and I listened to you when I lived in El Paso.
Well, we appreciate that.
and thank you for being a part of the show and for calling in.
Oh, no problem.
I'm so happy with what you guys do with temp and joy as well.
I think you guys do such great things for so many people.
Well, thank you.
We wouldn't be able to do any of it without people like you helping us.
So just appreciative of you and I hope you have a great day.
Oh, thank you guys.
I hope you all have a good day too.
All right.
See you later.
Bye, Tyler.
Explain to me what the segment is.
So I went to a place that sells engagement rings.
and I looked at rings, and I told the lady, the sales lady,
look, I'm really nervous about the proposal.
Do you think I could practice my proposal on you?
And she was so helpful.
And she said, sure, so we got the ring out of the case.
And then I proposed to her.
Okay, here we go.
Here is the first clip.
Do you set the scene with her as where you're going to be?
Yeah, I set the scene.
She's like, so how's it going to happen?
I'm like, well, I'm going to be at dinner, you know,
so I figure at dinner I'll have it in my pocket and I pull it out.
And then she instructs me what I need to do.
Not during dinner.
Wait till dessert.
Here we go.
We're at dinner, you know, when we're eating.
After dinner now.
Oh, I do it, not during.
You're not doing dinner.
After dinner, round dessert.
Carrie, I love it every morning when you nibble on my ear to say good morning.
I like it when I'm brushing my teeth and you think it's funny to slap me on the butt.
And if I ever get stung by a jellyfish again, the only one I ever want to pee on my foot is you.
Will you be my forever?
I just didn't like the other part about the jellyfish.
I like that.
Okay, okay.
Let's try it again.
Okay.
That's an honest feedback, though.
Yeah, yeah.
But she's nice enough to tell you.
Tell me we need to try it again.
So, okay, you tried again here?
Yeah, same lady.
And she doesn't know you're recording her?
No, no idea.
Okay, go ahead.
Carrie, you are the sparkle in my eye.
I want you to be the angel that gives me my wings.
Okay.
I want you to be the mother of my children and clean their poopy diapers.
No!
No!
What?
Where do the poop's diaper?
No, that was cute.
No, that wasn't cute.
I thought kids was romantic.
No!
Okay, okay.
Everything else was good except for pay pa.
We can be diapers out.
All right.
Let's do another one.
Here we go.
Same lady, another proposal.
You're still in the same store.
Yep, same store.
Here we go.
Carrie, you are the twinkle in my eye.
When there are no stars in the sky, I just look at you.
Your smile brightens my day.
I know sometimes I stink up that bathroom.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Okay, okay.
Carrie, I can't see myself going on without you.
You're my best friend.
You're the love of my life.
So now you have it.
So now I have it.
So this is the proposal that, you know, all right, I finally put it all together.
Okay, here we go.
Karen, when I met you that one morning at Waffle House, and that's sparkling your eye, I think I'm going to die.
I can't imagine another day without you.
I want you by my side.
What you say I do because I want to marry you.
Okay.
Yeah, clap, clap, and then we kiss.
Okay.
You might should have rode it down.
I should have rode down.
Yeah.
You might should have wrote that down because you might not remember.
what you just see.
So did she work at the store?
She worked at the store.
She was the ring lady.
I need to buy a ring from her when I get.
I mean, she was so helpful and so patient.
And she gave me so many pointers.
So he bought the ring, right?
No, no, I told her I was looking at the ring, but I was...
Did you leave and just like...
Oh, my goodness.
Give her no, I'm just kidding.
No, no, I told her later.
But I said, at first I said, oh, you know,
I don't know if I can buy it right now.
I'm nervous, blah, blah, blah.
I need to get a paycheck, things like that.
And then once it was over,
I told her, hey.
Just joking.
Told her what?
I'm just joking.
And then what does she say?
Thanks for waste of my time?
Yeah, basically.
Was she irritated with you?
No, no, she was real nice.
She was like, oh, that was fun, sweetheart.
She liked me a lot.
Solid impression?
All right, there you go.
This is the Bobby Mawr show.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 32nd Skinny.
Congratulations to Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell.
the two got married in Nashville over the weekend.

The song is called Faith.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this mom has a son.
son with cerebral palsy, and he kept begging her, like, I want to ride a skateboard, but physically
he just can't. So she went out and found a way to make it happen. She found this group that builds
big metal framework, like things to ride on with wheels and like bungee straps to like keep
them on so they don't fall off. And now he was like this video of them riding around on this
went viral. She took him to a skate park and the footage is just awesome. Yeah, it's great. I tweeted it
last week and it was I just did the crying emoji. He is in such a joyful place as he's riding
the skateboard. Right. I just love that he wanted to do it. His mom was proactive and sought it out and
there was already a group of people like making stuff just like this. And not just to make kids like
him happy. All the kids that can't ride skateboards can now ride this. So it's cool. Go over to
bobbybones.com if you want to check that out. It's great and that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. Norrie of the day. This story comes
from Arvada, Colorado.
A woman was getting home from the grocery store.
She pulls into her driveway and then she's getting out two men approach.
They say, give me your car, give me your car.
So she backs away, says, you can have it.
They get in and they can't figure out how to start it because it's one of those push starts.
They're trying to turn a key in the ignition.
They can't figure it out.
After about five minutes, they said, we're out of here.
They took off on foot.
She called police.
They were arrested.
Yeah, you would think an experienced car thief would know how to drive a standard, first of all,
because sometimes you get in and the stick.
Would know the push start and wouldn't rob a Tesla.
That's one we get, too.
Because on those, you just hit your phone and know where these cars are.
Must be the first time.
They may be rookies, but yeah, they were arrested.
Good thing about it.
Bate car, that's another one.
Oh, that's the best one ever.
And also look for TV cameras around if you're going to steal a car.
If you see them, you're probably about to be on bait car.
Don't do that either.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.

Bobby Bone.
John Party talks about the days his band played for tips.
Did you ever do that?
Back in the day, people tip you a little more.
You played their cover song?
Oh, yeah.
I watched Terry get a $100 tip to sing any more by Travis Tritt.
And at first he was like, man, I don't know that song.
And a guy gave me a hundred bucks.
He's like, I don't have a lot of show.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Bobby Bones.
I want to put on Caitlin in Alabama.
Caitlin, welcome to the Bobby Bones show.
What's happening, Caitlin?
Yes.
Hi, it's Bobby.
What's happening?
Hey, this is so neat.
Morning studio.
Morning.
I just wanted to give a big shout out to Eddie and to Amy.
I know Amy is, she adopted two children, and me and my husband are actually foster parents.
And we have four children at the moment.
through Mobile County.
And I just think it's amazing what you do, Eddie.
And, you know, me and my husband and my children, we listen to years.
We listen to the studio every morning.
So, yeah, I just want to give a big shout out to y'all.
Well, I appreciate that.
And I try to shout them out to as much as I can.
Yeah, Amy's adopted two children.
Super awesome.
And to me, it's just so weird to have this whole thing is kind of went.
Because they're just your kids now.
I don't even think about them so much as being adopted kids anymore.
No, it's fun.
And now, like, last night, my daughter crawled in bed next to me, and she's like, can I
sleep with you?
And I was like, well, where's dad going to sleep?
She's like, upstairs in my room.
But she was like, come on, I want to sleep with mom.
Did they do that?
No.
I was like, no, get out.
But, I mean, I did love that she wanted to crawl up next to me, and she was calling me mom.
Sometimes mom is annoying, but other times mom is so sweet.
Because when it's like, Mom, mom, mom, mom.
Eddie has two foster kids and two kids of his own.
Yeah.
And so what's the latest with them before, before we get into the game here?
What's the latest there?
Well, same deal with Amy.
You know, like just an update quickly is our little four-year-old foster kid.
He started calling me dad.
Do you let him?
Yeah.
Even though you may not be his dad in three months, nine months.
If he feels comfortable calling me that, I go with it.
Yeah.
I don't want to correct them or stop from feeling that way.
But yeah, I mean, it's going really well.
I don't really know what really how long we're going to have them.
There's really no update on that.
So still open-ended?
Still open-ended.
Through Christmas?
I would say yes.
I would say for sure, actually, that we'd probably have them through Christmas, and then from
there on, we'll just, we'll see.
Any chance that you end up adopting them?
Man, I feel like, you know, Amy and I talked like a few months back, and I was just like,
no, no, no, no, we haven't even talked about that.
But in my heart, it's just, it's not even an option anymore.
It's like, yeah, if they need to stay here for the rest of our lives, yeah, absolutely.
Crazy.
Well, Caitlin, I appreciate you bringing that up.
It gave us a little space to talk about that.
We appreciate that.
No problem. You'll have a great day.
All right, you too.
Let's play Amy versus Lunchbox.
All right.
So what happens here is I have three questions.
I googled questions for ladies.
Lunchbox gets those, and Amy gets the questions for dudes.
Lunchbox, are you ready?
Question number one.
Yeah.
What do you call the rustling of silk on a woman's dress?
What do you call the rustling of silk on a woman's dress?
That's hard.
Oh, I have no idea.
not to say it.
The rustling of silk.
Flair.
Incorrect.
Amy?
The rustling of silk.
Yes.
Static.
No, it's called fru-frou.
Did you know that?
No.
I didn't either.
Okay.
Where does a woman apply rouge?
Lunchbox.
Question number two.
Where does a woman apply rouge?
On her face.
More specific, Mike?
Cheeks.
Cheeks.
Correct.
Oh.
On what part of your body would you put a bendy?
Is that how you say it?
A bendy?
What part of your body would you put a bendy?
On your waist.
Incorrect.
Amy.
Your head?
Mike?
You want more specific?
A little more specific.
Hair?
Incorrect.
Could have given you head, but we got to press you on it.
What is it?
I don't even know what it is.
The middle of your forehead.
I was guessing.
What is it?
I don't know.
These are the first three questions written here.
Okay.
The bad thing for you is they were so hard you couldn't even steal it.
I know.
Frew, okay.
Amy, you get three questions.
Yep.
Monday night football is the Dolphins at the Steelers tonight.
Which team?
I'm not going to get 50-50 here.
The Steelers have won how many Super Bowls?
The question is originally what team has won more Super Bowls,
but I can't give you that easy of a question.
I wouldn't have known
The Steelers won how many Super Bowls?
They have won five.
Incorrect.
Is that a lot?
It's a lot, yeah.
Incorrect.
Lunchbox, you can steal?
Six.
The Steelers have won six Super Bowls.
That is correct.
Oh, man, I was so close.
You were close.
I almost said zero.
Who would you have picked up
if I said Steelers or Dolphins
in the original question?
I would have any mini mighty moda.
I don't know.
Why, have the dolphins won zero?
Two.
Oh.
Yeah.
Valvaline, Royal Purple, and Lucas are all brands of what?
Oil.
Correct.
Amy for the win.
Mulligan, which means the second chance to perform an action, is from what sport?
Mulligan, which means the second chance to perform an action.
What?
Is from what sport?
Okay, the only sport I feel like you get a second chance is like when you're shooting free throws, you get two.
A mulligan.
I mean, it has to be, I've never even heard that word,
so I'm assuming it has to be said in a sport I've never watched or played.
I played basketball.
I played softball.
I played tennis.
I played flag football.
Never heard of a mulligan.
So I'm going to go with soccer.
I never played soccer.
Soccer is incorrect.
What is it?
Lunchbox?
It's golf.
It is golf.
Why would you do that?
I've never played golf.
Just never shot a mulligan.
They don't do that at top golf.
they? Uh, sure.
Taking a molligan even in life is like,
well, that doesn't count. Let me do another one. Okay. Well, now I know.
Now I've learned. Um, we have
do we do anything for tire breakers? We have to...
I think I won. Oh, we did? Oh, well, there you go. Don't be mad that I gave you
easier question than what's written. Or harder question. Oh, it's fine.
Okay. All right, just making sure. I don't want you to come off the air.
Be like, you changed the question on me last minute.
No. Okay. All right. Uh, there you go. Lunchbox is the winner. There it is.
All I do is win, we win. No matter.
Uh, the score is now. Uh, lunchbox three to
zero. Amy,
he's leading. I know. There you go.
I know. Let's do Chris Jansen. Good Vives. Bobby Bone show.
Bobby Boom. Come on.
So you guys can send us messages. We will read them on the air. We will give you the advice
the best that we can. Let's open up the mailbag.
Bobby's Mailbag. Dear Bobby Bones, my boyfriend and I have been together happily
for almost seven years. We've been living together for five years. For the past few, about three,
He's been telling me he's going to propose soon and then it never happens.
I'm getting concerned that it's not going to happen.
Our friends and family are getting concerned that it's not going to happen.
I've had multiple conversations explaining to him that it does hurt my feelings when he says
he's going to do it soon and then another year passes and he doesn't.
At what point should I just call it quits?
I feel constantly disappointed.
I don't want to rush him into anything.
It's been almost seven years.
And I don't know what to do anymore because,
it started to feel like alive.
Thank you, Alexis.
Oh, that wasn't thank you, Ray's girlfriend.
It wasn't.
And that's interesting.
And I think usually, you know, Amy and I go and we talk.
But Ray, I'm going to let you talk about this first.
Because you're kind of going through the same situation.
Yeah, there was very similar things in that email right there.
Ray Mundo is our audio producer.
He runs all the sound from a glass room that's connected to our building.
Kind of looks like Joey from friends.
Same situation.
You've been with your girl for about six years?
Yeah.
You've been saying you're going to get married, engaged soon.
What advice do you give her?
Be patient, it's going to happen.
If he doesn't do it, honestly, if you wait for 10 years,
that is the absolute jump out, get out of that relationship.
It's terrible.
But when you're still in the singles, single digits,
double digits is when you really got to be worried.
Ten years?
You're saying 10 years is the breaking point?
Yes, at that point, go find another guy,
because this guy ain't proposing.
10 years.
Yeah, he's dragging his feet way too much.
His legs are dead if it's been 10 years.
He's not dragging his feet.
Yeah, he definitely doesn't want to get married.
Well, that's the thing.
If you think in your heart the proposal is going to happen, it's going to happen.
Just be patient.
Don't listen to outside people.
Let the proposal happen how it happens.
And it's going to be beautiful.
This is the guy who's talking to himself right now.
I see your angle.
I'm going to say this.
I think you have to have the conversation of, hey, you say we're going to get engaged and get married.
Because you've continued to say it, it's out there.
and people keep hitting me with it and that's uncomfortable for me.
Like, I would like to get married to you.
I just need an idea of what's going to happen.
And then I think you have to have him commit to in the next six months, in the next year.
And then if he doesn't, then you got to go be like, all right, I just don't think we're into it.
And eventually, you have to ultimatum him.
But then, just the ultimatum is so hard because you really want someone to propose to you
just because you're giving an ultimatum.
Well, if I could bring in Eddie into this, I'll produce Eddie.
His wife gave him an ultimatum.
You like to call it that.
She said either get with me or we're out.
Yeah, we're going to break up.
And it was how long?
But here's, it was six years.
Okay.
But here's the thing.
What's wrong with you guys?
I feel like most men don't ever feel like, all right, I'm ready to get married.
I feel like that is a huge thing that we never even think about.
So when she brought that up to me was the first time I even thought like, oh, she's thinking marriage.
I'd never thought of that before.
Six years.
Six years.
And you never thought about marriage.
Correct.
That's so bizarre to me.
Well, I hate to jump in on Eddie's team.
I was with my ex-girlfriend for four years.
Never thought about it.
Like, it being close.
Maybe it's just something enough.
You had to think about, you thought about, did you think about if she was thinking about it?
Maybe I was just younger too and just didn't think it was a thing.
I could not imagine going out of anybody for four years and not talking about marriage with them.
Oh, I would totally be talking about it.
My advice, just to put a bow on my advice,
you have to tell him
because he's been saying it
that now he needs to commit to a time
when he's going to do it
if he hadn't been saying it
you need to have that conversation
first of all we can be together
forever or not
but because he's been like teasing you with it
you have to say hey listen
it's uncomfortable
my family's asking all the time
you put me in a weird spot
because you're saying
we're going to do it
like give me a window
you don't have to say exactly when
but give me a window
Amy?
Yeah I mean
it just
I feel like I don't want you
to pressure him into doing it
but you need to know
if you need to just move on
Sounds like he needs pressured.
Yeah.
And it looks like pressure works.
I mean, because now Eddie's been married, what?
How many?
14 years.
14 years.
Diamonds come from pressure.
That is so true.
Whoa, that's deep, bones.
I didn't think about that.
Well, when the going gets tough, you can be two things.
You can be a pipe or you can be a diamond.
You can bust or you can form out something really cool.
Wow.
Guess you'll find out.
Lunchbox your thoughts?
Look, in the email, you said you're very happy with this guy, so why not just stick with him?
Because look, you're going to have to start all over if you.
You break up with him, then you go find another guy.
You got to date him for a couple years.
So it's going to be the same timeline anyway,
so you might as well stick with some dude that you already like.
There's no get out.
Just be happy.
I'm a big believer, though, if something's not going right,
and I'm not saying this is going wrong.
Cut your losses and start over.
It's better than wasting all that time in the same rut.
Like start overworking out something that you can actually cultivate in order to thrive.
I'm not saying that's the case here,
but I wouldn't stay with them just because you've been with him.
Right.
Sounds like you love them.
Tell him. All right.
Poo, we get off the pot, bra.
That's it.
Ramundo, poop and get off the pop, bra.
That was a good email.
I'm glad we all discussed that.
You good?
I mean, yeah, if she wants to, go to the ring store with him.
Tell him to talk to your dad.
There's other steps you can do before the engagement
that'll get you feeling better about the situation.
Oh, things that you've done?
Yeah, we went and did mimoses and we looked at rings,
and that made us all feel great.
Right, I know, but did you, so now?
It got a little trigger right now.
Yeah, so now are you admitting that these are little things you've done just to buy you time?
Well, these are the things you have to do before you can get engaged.
There's a whole laundry list.
You don't have to do.
Behind the scenes, it's crazy.
The stuff you have to do.
It's actually like it's the Billboard Music Awards.
Yeah, it's not.
Cameras running around.
Directors.
All right, get stage three.
Deal with the press.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's the, Alexis, thank you.
That's the mailbag.
And that was Bobby's mailbag.
If you ever want to reach out, you can. Morgan number two, how do they reach out to us?
Mailbag at bobby bones.com.
There you go.
Thank you very much.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So starting January 1st, bending machines across the country are going to have fewer junk food options and more healthier ones.
So it's all part of the National Automatic Merchandising Association.
Did you know that existed?
I didn't.
I saw the story and I guess it's going to be more bars and stuff because you can't put apples because they'll spoil.
Right.
So it's just healthier options, which is great, by the way.
Yeah, like, instead of, like, Snickers and Cheez-It's everywhere, there's going to be, yeah, more, like, protein-filled bars and nuts and snacks like that.
Good.
Dried fruits.
Yeah, I'm down.
Maybe, like, dark chocolate, 88%.
I don't know.
I like dark chocolate.
What is it about you don't like?
Nothing about dark chocolate is good to me.
I don't know.
And it shouldn't taste that different from milk chocolate.
But it does.
You know what?
I don't even like white chocolate.
I'm very particular in my chocolate flavor.
What else?
Okay, so Instagram, they're putting out some new filters,
and they announce that they're banning anything
that gives an effect of plastic surgery.
Like that alters your nose a little bit,
or your face to look slimmer, this or that.
Well, crap.
Your lips a little plumber.
They can't do the Kylie General lip plumping effect anymore.
Your brows a little more lifted.
That's every filter.
Some of them are so fun.
I hope they don't take away the cat.
Well, I don't think people are trying to surgically put cat ears on their head.
Some people do.
They do want to be a cat.
But I just, yeah, it's like giving people a distorted image of how they look.
And it's just not healthy.
And I will.
There's this one that's like called like smooth or bait.
I don't know.
It's really simple.
It just kind of gives you a once over on your skin.
It makes it real smooth.
And so I use that sometimes.
And then I get used to it.
And then I see myself in real.
And I'm like, oh my gosh.
When did I start looking?
so bad, but it's because I even trick myself. So I have got to stop using that. But it's so
tempting, especially if you look just like awful, awful. You put that on and you're like, oh,
things just got better. I was reading a story about looking in the mirror. Yeah. And they say
that if you want to lose weight, you can sit in the front of the mirror while you're eating.
Like that's what they say? A study found that eating in front of mirrors slashed the amount of
people ate by nearly one third. I assume that you're watching yourself eat. Listen, if you
journal everything you eat, by the way, who does that anymore? But you will eat way less.
I think one of the benefits of me actually being on this eight-hour window of eating is that
I don't eat any food. I'm not throwing random stuff in my mouth after 5 p.m. I call it the eight-hour
diet. Oh my gosh. But next thing you know, Bobby's like, I'm working on my third book. It's called
the eight-hour diet. It's this new thing. As long as you change it 13 percent, it's a whole new deal.
everything's derivative of something.
So wait for my third book.
This is not intermittent fasting.
This is eight hours of eating.
It's totally different.
Eight hours, yeah.
What else, Amy?
So I just wanted to let people know that you could go to jail for this.
A guy in Michigan was busted last month for using his wife's passport to try to sneak his mistress into the country.
Well, yeah, that you could get arrested for that.
Yeah, but 10 years in prison for him and the mistress.
I got priors.
Kind of messed up.
Yeah, it's so messed up.
Can't do that.
Let me tell you what we almost did.
And you tell me if we'd got in trouble if we'd have been caught.
Tell me.
So our boss and myself were in Chicago last week and we're coming back.
Oh, this is recent.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We talked about this.
My flight was canceled.
I was on a different airline.
And I was like, I can't get home.
He was taking a different flight an hour later.
And so he had a ticket.
We both got into the airport already.
And he was like, well, you can just take my ticket and go through on my name and get on the flight and fly home.
Yes.
Now, had I been caught?
By the way, they wouldn't have caught.
They don't check you for ID once you're in the airport.
That's true.
That's true.
I could have easily jumped on a different flight and got out of town and got back to town.
Sure.
No problem.
Would you have done that?
Oh, because I see.
He was sacrificing because you needed to work more.
You need to get back to the show.
You need to get home before like midnight.
I'll stay and I'll just keep working here in the airport.
You go home.
He said, just take my ticket.
Wow.
He was like, I volunteer's tribute.
But I brought, I catch the whole plan.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a good plan.
He disagreed.
I was like, come on.
You got to have me fresh on the other next.
day. But if that plan were to go down, he agreed to it, and we were going to do it.
You would have been on, he would have been on the, oh my gosh, that's how you could,
well, no, he could disappear without anybody knowing. Like, if something happened, then he's
dead on that flight. Dead quotes. Wow. Well, so I ended up getting somebody canceled and I got
on the flight so we'd have to do it, but we were going to do it. What were you got in trouble,
you think? No, because nobody would have known. Well, with any law you break, if nobody knows
you don't get in trouble. But is that against the law? I think so.
It's pretty smart until he goes to book another flight under his name.
They're going to be like, you already left on this flight.
I don't know if that would be a problem.
But that is so smart.
I think you should have done it.
That's genius.
Could you like, if someone's like running from the law, right?
Meaning could you go into the airport with your friend, both have tickets?
Yeah.
And send them away on the different flight.
And they go on an international flight.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, but you got to get through TSA.
And that's before all that.
Yeah, but that's no problem.
Because he has a ticket to like Philadelphia.
But internationally, you'd have to go through customs and you have to have an ID.
Well, whatever.
We almost did it.
We almost went to jail at the end.
I'm a bad boy.
Wow.
You're just like this guy.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.

Tell me something good.
There's an officer out.
There's a baby in trouble, and there's a heroic effort.
I'm going to leave it there.
Okay.
I love highlighting our police officers, and this one's a really, really good story,
and we'll do that next in Tell Me Something Good.
Tell me something good.
Next on the Bobby Bones show.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
I love highlighting how awesome our police are.
So this woman named Amanda goes up to police in Florida,
and she says, hey, there's a goldfish cracker in my son's throat.
at a one-year-old.
And so the baby couldn't breathe.
So these officers were all working on this baby.
And so one of the police officers realized that he was starting to turn purple and had to do a
hymlich on a one-year-old.
Think of how small that hymlich would be.
That's hard.
Is that just your hands?
Two fingers.
Like, you make an O with your thumb and that's crazy, right?
And so the baby was only wearing a diaper and she's just watching.
And so the cops give the baby the hymlich.
The baby starts to breathe.
They had called first responders at the beginning of this.
Some medical professionals.
They got there.
The baby was in intensive care, but it's now made a full recovery thanks to the officers.
And thanks to the other responders that got there too.
So scary.
Got to be so helpless to see your baby choking.
But good thing those cops were close.
And then good thing they knew what to do.
A baby Heimlich, I wonder if that's a whole class they take.
I'm sure.
Like how to save a, like do everything smaller.
Mm-hmm.
Because, again, they could probably do a Heimlich on an adult.
I know there's the one where you hold the baby with one hand and then pat the back with the other.
They did that too and it didn't come out at first.
Yeah.
And so then they added the baby Heimlich.
Whatever that is.
It sounds like a cool dance too.
Do the baby Heinleck.
Not so bad one.
There you guys what's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let go.
Transmed.
Appreciate you guys hanging out with us.
You can be anywhere in the whole world, but you are with us.
Thank you so much for being.
a part of the team.
Let's go over to Amy right now.
The Morning Corny.
What's a skeleton's favorite instrument to play?
What's a skeleton's favorite instrument to play?
Trombone.
Oh, that's pretty funny.
The trombone.
Yeah, pretty good.
Good.
That was the Morning Corny.
That's your corny joke of the day.
Dirk's Bentley will do Living Bobby Bone Show.
Bobby Bones Show.
There's a new version of the alphabet song that was created in order to help kids clarify L-M-N-O-P.
Okay.
Because kids will go, element-O-P is one letter.
Because the melody would be this.
A, B, C, D, E-F-G, H-I-J-K, L-M-N-O-P, right?
Right.
Well, they had to change the song because so many kids learned that the wrong way.
And by the way, Twitter's all upset about this.
But this just shows you that Twitter outrage is dumb and not even real.
Because if they're going to get mad about this,
here is the alphabet song with the new melody.
E, C, D, E, F G.
The same.
H-I-J-K-L-M-N.
O-B-Q-R-S-T-U.
V-W-X-Y-Z.
That's the new melody to the ABCs.
Well, of course you don't like it
because you haven't known it your whole life.
That's like someone, you know, changing something you've spent 35 years.
Why are we changing it?
Do we not know the alphabet?
No, it's because kids, young kids, when they learn it,
they don't learn L, M, N, N, P.
They learn L M&O P.
And so that's why they've read down the song.
Yeah.
Now, Eddie, you've had little kids.
Did they learn L MN O P?
Oh, they love L MN O N O M.
Yeah, that's one letter.
Yes.
Right.
But it was one letter to us, and we're fine.
It wasn't to me.
It wasn't.
Well, you're smarter than us.
It's weird, but I don't hate it.
And also, why would-
I be able to sing with my kids, though?
Yeah.
They've never learned it yet,
so when they learned that,
that it'll be the first time,
and they'll know it.
Just because it's different,
just in life, kids,
and I'm talking to you kids in the room,
just because it's different,
doesn't mean it's bad.
Right.
You can come in sometimes
and change something.
They can be good.
Yes, you can.
Okay.
Yes, you can, kids.
We'll try.
I saw that.
Yeah, and Twitter's all mad about that.
We'll come back.
So here's the thing.
We went to a football game yesterday,
and I have my jersey on, by the way.
They gave me.
And so I'm wearing it.
It has my name on the back.
And so I was pretty proud of that.
It felt like it was homecoming in here or something, you know?
I walked in my jersey.
If I just had my best girl to give it to, I'd have her wear it.
We had some things to talk about next.
One, we'll talk about the game a little bit.
Eddie did not wear his cowboys gear into the box.
Correct.
Which we thought was going to be a thing.
But did he have it on underneath?
That's the question.
Also, we can talk about, I took a date.
Yeah.
And the date hung out with friends.
Yeah, well, we need to talk to the friends about the date.
How about you just talk to me and I tell you what the friends probably thought?
Yeah, I'm not saying that.
My lips are shut.
Oh, do you like sign some?
No, no.
Just respect for me.
I've made them all signing in D.A.
I'm like, all right, boys, you go in here.
You need to sign here, initial here.
Welcome to the game.
And also, someone, I'm seeing this,
someone's going to give me crap about something I did in the press box on the date yesterday.
I guess it wasn't the press box.
It was the sweet.
Sweet.
Yeah.
So someone said I did something really dumb on my date,
and they would like to share it with the room.
Okay.
We got all that, all that good?
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
We'll come back and do that next.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
Let's go.
Bobby Bones show.
I had a pretty cool day yesterday.
We went to watch the Tennessee Titans, the NFL team.
The owner actually said, hey, come and sit in the box.
I've never had that happen to me before.
And so it was hard to turn that down and so went.
And there's a picture on my Instagram of me.
I've never met a team owner before.
I guess I met Jerry Jones from the Cowboys.
Did you really?
I have a couple times.
I take that back.
He also went to Arkansas.
It's from Arkansas.
Right.
So I guess I've never randomly met an owner of a team.
But we hung out, it's great.
And so we hung out in the box, watched the game.
The Titans won.
I'm wearing my jersey.
now. They made this for me.
Look, my names are in the back of it.
It was crazy. It was like a really, really fun
day. And so
it didn't rain. You can sit
on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
And so we go and at first
I don't quite know how to handle myself in that situation.
There's just a lot of people in suits and
fancy people up there. And I'm like, oh boy,
I don't know anybody. And then I finally see
Eddie and he's eating food and I'm like, all right.
Perfect. This is my crew right here, the
free food crew. And so
yeah, over ate a little bit.
And I was okay with that.
It was in my window of eating.
And it was a special day.
And it was a special day.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, yeah, we'd go up to the game.
I, they even gave us field passes.
I didn't use them.
You went down the field, right?
I did.
Man, what a blast.
Like, you really get to see how big these guys are.
Yeah.
I mean, I thought they were kind of big, but man, they're huge.
And I did take a date.
We didn't go down on the field.
We just kind of met everybody up in the press box.
And so I didn't think it was weird with these guys.
Did you guys feel like it?
Like, did, Ray?
That was totally cool.
I had to do some small talk with her here and there, and I just touched all the bases.
I was like, where are you from?
Learned about her a little bit.
I didn't want to say the, what do you do for a job?
But I, in a way, figured out what she kind of does.
Yeah.
I assume she was going to be super, super famous, but I don't think she is, right?
Why would you assume she would be super, super famous?
Because you are.
No, I'm not.
And that's not what I'm trying to do.
I know, but I just, I didn't know.
Don't assume that
What's wrong with you guys
I'm just trying to live my life over here
So I do go on a date but lunchboxes
Was making fun of me
I mean I look at the picture and the first thing I think is
Bobby's on a date
And he's the idiot in the
On a date wearing a jersey
You don't wear a jersey on a date
She looks at you like
This tool's wearing a jersey
What do you think about that?
Was it that one? Huh?
That one?
It wasn't the ex... No it was the actual player one
Oh
This is one that gave
with a name on. I wore a jersey to the game, though, a different one.
You already had a jersey? Or did you go buy it like that day?
No, they gave me one. Okay.
I did some screen stuff for them in the off season.
And I was like, great, I wore a jersey.
Yeah.
Do you think that makes me look like an idiot?
I don't know. How many people are?
I don't know.
I know Ray, Mundo wears jerseys to games, but how many people?
And then I...
There were only two people in the entire, like, suite that had a jersey on.
Ray Mundo and me.
That's right.
Oh, okay.
Oh, my gosh.
Wait, so I never thought about this.
I just thought it would be fun to support the...
team wearing jersey.
No, you look like a, like the first thing I thought is like if he's wearing the date, did you
pick her up in the jersey?
I picked her up in the jersey.
Oh, come on.
She probably was like, oh my gosh, I'm not getting in the car, but I guess I got to.
I mean, I don't think it's all that bad.
I think.
All that bad.
So you're saying it's kind of bad?
Kind of.
No.
You guys can call us if you want to.
877-77 Bobby.
You meant well.
I did well.
What do you mean I meant well?
You wanted to support the team.
That's nice.
And it's not like.
they've been dating a long time. This is like a second or third date. So it's kind of awkward.
Like if you're married, okay, she's used to it. But the fact it's like a third date or whatever
and you're wearing a jersey, she's like, oh gosh, he's a jersey guy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Are you going to ever go? You're Jersey guy.
He and he's wearing a jersey again today.
I like this jersey. Yeah, I think that that is cool. But I mean, yeah, are you a jersey guy?
Not really, but I'm not anti-Jerzy guy. I'm not judging anybody for what they wear.
Yeah. I think if it makes you feel good, you should.
should wear it. And you know what? I felt pretty good wearing the jersey
yesterday. Morgan number two, okay, you're single. If a guy picked you up going to a game
and he was in a jersey, what would you think? I don't think it was a big deal because you went to a game.
If you wore a jersey on like a dinner day, it may be a little off. Yeah, but like you went to a football game.
It makes sense. Game day, but your team's on TV and you're supporting. Maybe later on. I didn't do that, though.
I know, but I'm asking, we need to know the perimeters of the jersey because now that you have two.
When are you going to wear it again?
We need to know the ground rules.
Well, Ramundo, you were there.
Did you think it was weird?
I thought it was fine.
I was going to wear sweatpants.
Just fine?
My girlfriend told me I needed to dress it up a little bit.
Yes.
I wasn't on a date and I felt very underdressed and I was wearing the jersey.
Because you're in the owner suite.
We weren't outside.
We were in a very big shirt.
Like, was the owner even wearing a jersey?
No.
No, no, no.
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, it's cute.
I don't feel.
I don't feel bad for supporting the team.
It's fine.
I don't, I don't, you guys aren't gonna shame me.
You're not gonna jersey shame me.
We're not shaming you, we're just trying to help you out.
You're not gonna team spirit shame me this morning.
Was she like, did you used to play?
No, she didn't say anything about it.
Okay.
I wonder if she thought anything.
You need to ask her.
It didn't even cross my mind.
I need to know if she like texted a friend and he's wearing a jersey.
Like how do I get out of here?
How do I leave?
All right.
I didn't think about it.
You can see on my Instagram
Mr. Bobby Bones
a picture of me in the jersey
or I'm wearing the one they gave me
yesterday, basically the same one
right now.
Just go to YouTube.com
slash Bobby Bones show.
We're doing the show live.
I mean, when you picked her up
did her eyes give anything away
like, oh, Jersey
or did she just smile
and hey, good to see you?
Never thought a thing about it
until I got here
and I was getting made fun of.
So, and even Eddie's laughing.
It's funny that they're making fun of you.
I thought it was completely normal, dude.
You're at a football game.
The Titans are playing.
You got a Titans jersey on.
Anything else you like to know, Amy?
Well, I, yes.
Are we breaking down the date here now?
I didn't know if this was Jersey talk and we were sliding date talk to later.
I mean, because we need an update on.
It's all out of the way.
Okay, well, this, wait, lunchbox is right.
Is this a third one?
Third date?
It's like two and a half.
Oh, yeah, because the first one was a 30-minute coffee date.
First one was pretty quick.
Yeah.
Okay, so will y'all be going out again?
Not out to that, Jersey
I don't know yet
Have y'all texted since the game?
I know you dropped her off
Well, you said you picked her up
And then I ran into you
So I know you dropped her off
So like have you all texted?
No, but it was pretty late
In the afternoon
Yeah, sure it was
I saw you at like 5 o'clock last night
Because it's almost my dinner eating window
It was 420, you still had 40 minutes left of eating
Yeah
That's why he was at the grocery store
I'd eat real quick
He needed food, stat
Right now I don't know that I have a lot to offer
Eddie spent some time with her
I did yeah I liked her
I mean I think why do you see it like that
No no no no because it's like Bobby's on a date
And I'm looking at her like all right could this be the future
Life don't do that
Don't do that oh and they can go in his and her matching jersees
No I just think that automatically and so I mean I do she was
She's nice that's it you sound like so
What are you talking about?
Like how nice like
Like a real nice.
She's nice.
Okay.
And she's very sweet.
Man, I can, I mean, I can see you definitely.
Wow, she's sweet and nice.
Eddie sounds like a pervo.
No, I'm not trying to sound like one.
Yeah, I don't even know if I know what she looks like.
She's very pretty, Amy.
She's very nice.
Oh, Eddie, we got that from all of you.
Okay.
So no text, like, thanks fun time at the game.
Or, hey, thanks for coming with me.
No.
You to her?
No.
No?
No.
No.
No?
No.
No good night, no good morning.
Okay.
No.
Crazy.
Don't be crazy.
Any parting thoughts, Ramundo?
Yeah, she did it all right, man.
She asked me questions about me.
She was very, very sweet, very nice.
Dude, she's great at communicating, which is what you need.
I wasn't even talking about the date.
I just made in general on the day.
Oh, the day was amazing.
I loved it.
Between Eddie and Ramundo, Bobby ending up with this girl long term, one to ten?
What are you talking about?
I'd say 10, yes.
10.
Oh, wow.
Absolutely.
Out of your mouth.
She's a keeper.
Wow.
Stop it.
What is it wrong with you?
Raymundo?
Yeah, I'm going nine.
What is wrong with you?
You put it in an unrealistic
pressure on me and the world right now.
We're just saying what we think.
Hey, did you guys see them like kiss or touch or anything?
Like hold hands?
No.
No, Bobby touch.
No.
They did do that kiss cam, though.
I was hoping so bad they came up in the suite.
They did?
No, they weren't on it.
They were just doing the kiss cam.
Oh, and Raymundo was hoping.
He was crossing.
Come on.
All right.
Let's do Jordan Davis, singles you up, Bobby Bone Show.
I grab some calls in a second.
We'll also do the 60-second showdown coming up in a second, too.
So we got a lot going on.
Appreciate you guys waking up with us here on the Bobby Bone Show.
Bobby Bones Show.
Something happened on an airplane, and I saw it, and I was like, holy cow.
Instagram storied it out, and I have it to talk about, and I couldn't believe it happened
on a Southwest flight.
Do you say I'm talking about?
Yeah, I saw you post it.
And now I'm trying to think.
I think I even replied to you like,
OMG, what?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's bad.
And it could have happened to me.
It could happen to any of you.
What?
So we'll talk about that coming up in a second.
And also the 60 Second Showdown,
which is, I've got three categories here.
And if you can get 10 questions right in 60 seconds,
I'll give you $100 of my own money.
Let me take a call from J.E.M.
Jim in Florida real quick.
Hey, Jim, how are you?
I'm good.
How are you?
Thank you for calling.
What would you like to?
say.
My question is, if that kiss cam
has standover,
would Bobby have gone in for that kiss?
If the kiss cam would have
come on? Yes.
You would do it for the cam. You have to, right?
Yeah, you would. Would you guys act like the
Camus is the Pledge of Allegiance?
No. It's on you.
Maybe like on the cheek.
Have you all kissed before? No.
Okay. So that would be the first kiss for us.
That'd be a funny story, though.
Yeah. If that were it. But no, maybe on the cheek.
Yeah.
Not even like a corner lip-on-lip.
I don't think so.
I'm not against that at the right time.
I just don't think that was right-right-time.
I was in my jersey, too.
It was because I got in a jersey, you know what I mean?
Yeah, Jim, thank you.
I'm totally okay with the jersey, especially with the game.
I mean, any other situation is definitely not.
But being in games, I'm good with it.
Well, I appreciate that.
Thank you for calling.
Thanks for listening.
Not a problem.
I appreciate you.
No, anytime.
I'm faithful listener.
Let's go to Suzanne in Maryland.
Suzanne, you're on the Bobby Bone Show.
What would you like to say?
Hey, Bobby.
Hey, Suzanne.
I just wanted to weigh out on the jersey.
I think that if you're going to a sporting event, there's absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a jersey.
You're supporting the team, and that's what you're there for.
Yeah.
And I was being invited by the team.
It wasn't even that I just bought tickets and was going to a game wearing a jersey.
Which, by the way, if you want to do that, good for you.
The team invited me.
I had to be extra team-y.
How come no one's seeing that point?
You all can hate.
Everybody's looking at you with judgmental hate right now.
That's fine.
Hate.
A little bit.
Even you are like a little bit like...
It's not hate.
I just have never been a jersey person, but you can sway me.
If I haven't by now, I never will.
We'll play the 60 second showdown coming up and what happened on a Southwest flight
that's probably going to make everybody listen and go, oh my goodness, I cannot believe that happened.
That's next.
Follow us on Instagram.
At Bobby Bones Show.
Bobby Bones show.
Let's go over and talk to Katie in Ohio,
who has called the show.
Hey, Katie, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show.
What's happening?
Not much.
What's happening, Bobby?
I appreciate you.
What do you want to say?
I'm going to talk to you about the whole jersey incident.
I was wondering what she was wearing.
So if you're just turning the show on,
I took a girl on a date to a football game,
and I wore a jersey, and they've been making fun of me the whole day.
And also, I would just like to say,
I was in the owner's suite.
I felt like I needed to wear the jersey.
And you know what?
I felt pretty good in the jersey, too.
I did.
It felt good.
I felt confident.
It felt like I was part of the team.
She was not wearing a jersey.
All we were told was don't wear the others, any other team's colors.
Because the owner, right.
Katie, she was in any type of, like, I mean, any of the teams, like either of the team,
she wasn't in any, like, type of sports.
No, but to be fair.
I kind of tossed this on her.
She shouldn't have to run out to the mall
and grab a jersey or a shirt.
She did try to match the colors of the team a little bit.
I appreciated that.
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah.
Everybody done?
What's everybody's point with this?
I'm tough.
Yeah, which is point?
It's got hit by Clay Travis, too, on Twitter
saying I should not have worn the jersey.
Oh, really?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's a big sports guy, big sports talk shows.
Whatever.
Katie, I appreciate your call.
But what would you, go ahead.
Your final input on this topic?
I think the jersey's fine.
I took my husband for his birthday to an Ohio State game.
It was his first college game.
And prize, I actually wrapped up a jersey for him and left it on the bed for him.
And he came in and, like, opened it.
And it was, like, a big thing.
So, like, I think the jersey's fine.
I'm good with the jersey.
Thank you very much.
I appreciate that.
Well, I have a great day.
And if you guys like to see me in the jersey right now, I'm wearing a jersey in the studio.
And you can watch it on our Facebook page or a YouTube page.
It's just Bobby Bone's show.
Thank you. Let's do a 60-second showdown, and I believe we have...
Let's do Shantel in Missouri, who's on the phone.
Hi, Shantel and Missouri. How are you?
I'm great, Bobby. How are you?
I'm real good. So tell me something.
Give me one fact about yourself that I think it would be interesting.
I know. I have four kids.
Okay, four kids right there.
Nice. Wow. Wow. Been busy. Okay.
You have three categories that you can pick from, and you have to get ten kids.
questions right in 60 seconds. So average
of one every six seconds, which isn't that hard?
Timing wise. Okay.
Would you like to have the category of science?
Ooh.
90s movies.
Ooh.
Or the Bobby Bone Show.
Ah.
Oh, gosh, that's really hard. I'm not good at science.
In 90s movies, I don't know. So let's go with Bobby Bone
Show.
All right. Here she has chosen the Bobby Bone Show.
You have 60 seconds to get 10 questions right.
If you don't know one, I would suggest that you just pass, we'll come back to it. If you miss it, we'll come back to it as well. So the real strategy is just saying an answer. I don't want to give away the strategy here. Just say an answer. Instead of thinking about it, just say an answer. Are you ready? We have 60 seconds.
Yeah. The clock starts when I finish the first question up for grabs $100 in cash from my wallet. Or how you say it in Spanish? He say my wallet in Spanish.
My boleta. Mi boleta. Or whatever.
What light?
Katara?
Me Katara.
Eddie, what did you say?

All right, bye.
Bye, Shantel.
Oh, Amy's not name checking her.
Bye, Chantel. All right.

I got a couple weird or nah stories.
Okay.
Weird or nah.
Al Pacino, age 79, has a new girlfriend who is 39.
Okay, Al Pacino, 79, almost 80, has a girlfriend who is 39.
Weird or nah?
So they're 40 years apart.
Al Pacino.
Yeah, yeah.
Weird or ya.
Weird or nah?
Weird or nah?
Weird.
Yeah. It says she was born the year he got his fifth Academy Award nomination.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, gosh. Yeah, he's 79. She's 39.
I mean...
No, no. Let me help you out with this. I'm 38, right? My dad is 78.
So this is basically the same thing. And I know what my dad's whole body is like. No, that is weird.
Yeah, that's pretty weird, huh?
Yeah.
And I'll just like, should preface this for anybody new.
Like, my dad has some health issues and I've had to take care of him and, like, do things.
And I'm like, no, yes, it's weird.
Like, there's no, she's, I don't know.
I'm not attracted to that, maybe.
When I'm older, I might be, but not at 38.
Well, maybe there's, you know, he has a lot of life stories you can tell.
Maybe she's, they sit around dinner and he just tells so many life stories.
She's like, I'm so attracted to this.
Yeah, he's so fascinating and interesting.
I mean, my dad tells.
She's an adult woman.
She's almost 40.
Good for them if they found love.
But it doesn't.
mean it's not a little weird. I can still jump on. I do things that are weird just in general.
I have to have all my drawers close at night before I go to bed. I do walkthroughs. If I don't remember
my door lock shutting exactly, I have to go back and there's a lot of weird things that I do.
Yeah. Doesn't mean it's illegal or wrong. But I'll also side with you and go, that's weird.
Okay. Victoria Beckham. You know who she is? Yeah. Who? David Beckham's wife's former Spice
girl closing line posh,
yeah. So her son, her adult
son, is dating a posh, spice
impersonator. That's weird.
Oh, wait, weird or not?
Weird, weird. They do say
guys are attracted to women like their moms.
I mean, and she's
hot.
So this girl used to be,
you want to see a picture? Yes. Come look at this.
Okay. So he took her home to meet
the mom and they looked very
similar, they said, and this is her.
Oh my gosh. That is her.
Weird or not.
She's just so hot, it doesn't matter.
I mean, she's beautiful, but I think...
Go ahead.
Like, I think what's weird is that she used to impersonate his mom.
Like, that part is...
Yeah, I mean, I get that.
But even if she didn't really look like the mom,
but the fact that that was, like, her job at one point to impersonate a spice girl.
She looks a lot of like her mom.
It's very identical.
You know, but again, my type generally, not always,
but if you were to go my type, it's brunettes.
And I wonder if that's because my mom was brunette.
Yeah.
Could be.
So that's probably somewhere instilled in us, you know, women look for guys like their
dads if their dads were good for them.
Well, when my dad was younger, he was very attractive.
Yeah, you told us how hot he was.
He was.
Multiple times you told us.
He was.
You just went on and on.
It was like a romance novel.
I'll show you a picture and you'll pick out the best looking guy in there and it'll be my dad.
There she is again.
How?
I mean, she just talked about she wasn't attracted to her dad and all of a sudden.
I'm not at 78.
So are you weird or nah on that one?
Can I be borderline?
Weird or nah?
Okay, nah.
I'm gonna go nah too.
So we got one weird and one nah.
I can't be a hypocrite.
Okay.
Is that the only reason?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I'm on Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones
and follow the show too for a bunch of clips at Bobby Bones Show.
Appreciate you guys for being with us every single morning.
You can be anywhere in the world, but you're with us, and we're so thankful for that.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
It was a big day for Ronnie Foster of North Carolina.
He was driving to his last chemotherapy appointment.
He stops at the gas station, pulls out a dollar, says,
Give me a lottery ticket.
He scratches it off and he wins $5.
He's like, you know what?
Give me two more tickets.
Scratches it off, wins $200,000.
Wow.
Holy cow.
He said he was feeling great because he was going to get his last round of chemo.
Made him feel even better with that $200,000 in his pocket.
That's awesome.
Huge blessing.
There you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Hit us up if you want.
877 Bobby.
We'll talk to Clay Travis coming up in a second
about me wearing my jersey to the game on a date.
Also, Lauren Elena coming up too.
Thank you guys for hanging out and being part of the show.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bone.
Hey, to catch you guys up from last hour,
I went to the Titans game.
They won. It was fantastic.
I was lucky enough that the owners of the Titans,
the owner of the Titans said,
hey, come and hang out in the owner's box.
I was like, great.
And so the rule was written.
You couldn't wear another.
team's colors, nor should you.
It's the owner of the team.
And I don't get that fancy a treatment.
So I had a Titans jersey.
And I thought, how can you be
any more loving
toward a team than to wear a jersey?
Now, I didn't think anything of it. If you go to
my Instagram, you'll see a picture of me in the jersey.
And I took a date with me
to the game. Someone that I don't
know that well, it wasn't like a tenth date,
but I took a day and I didn't think anything of it.
We won. We ate food.
I hung out with a date. My friends
It was a fantastic day. And then I come into the show this morning and they're just giving me the
business in here because I wore a date. I wore a jersey on a date. Now, I'm going to bring on Clay Travis,
who does a national sports talk show. He also does a television show about sports and gambling.
He's a best-selling author and has opinions on this, I'm told. Clay Travis, how are you, bud?
I'm doing well. How are you?
Hey, good. Now, you heard, I think maybe in your ear you heard the situation?
Yes, I saw you tweet about it.
And then they texted me and said I need to weigh in as an expert.
And I think you totally are an idiot.
Wait, what?
Go ahead.
Amazing.
Go ahead.
So first of all, and I'm not a woman.
So I'm curious what the women in the audience will say in general.
But my opinion is if you wear a jersey and it is a jersey, like what was the jersey that you were wearing?
Did it have your name on the back?
No.
Who's jersey was it?
Derek Henry.
Tennessee Times running back number 22.
Yeah, Derek, inner.
Great player.
My son's favorite player.
My position on men in jerseys is you can only wear a jersey of a player that is older than you
or you look like a loser.
Now, kids obviously totally can wear anything.
Women can wear any jersey that they want.
They look better in it.
But men, like a football jersey,
first of all, it looks like you're wearing a potato sack.
So it's not a good look, no matter like who.
You know, you don't, they build them like you're still going to be wearing shoulder
pads with them for men.
Like a soccer jersey is a good look like it looks like a normal shirt.
A man in a football jersey just looks like he's walking around with a burlap sack on, right?
Like, it's a ridiculous look.
Also, I think if another man's name is on your back,
you're effectively saying, I wish I was this person, like you, especially on a date,
are essentially saying to your date,
hey, you should be trying to date
the guy that I wish I was, as opposed
to the guy that I actually am.
So I think it's a failure on multiple levels here.
Well, I kind of do wish I was Derek Henry.
I'm going to tell you the truth.
I wouldn't mind being Derek Henry.
Yes.
And also if you...
You would be more likely to trade places with Derek Henry
than Derek Henry would be to trade places with you.
And vice for me, the same way, right?
But you still don't have to acknowledge it so apparently by
basically, like, I think men who would
wear jerseys of men who are younger than them look ridiculous.
What about the fact that it was the owner's suite and they had given me this jersey like a month
ago and kind of was like, hey, wear the team's apparel, wear team colors?
Yeah, look, I think this is like my thing.
I don't know what you wear when you go to an Arkansas Razorback game, but I know you're a
big Arkansas fan, but like I'm a Tennessee fan and obviously we haven't had a lot to celebrate
either one of us very much this fall.
But I think there's a difference between guy who goes in Jersey.
and guy who goes in like a nice t-shirt for the team or like if you really want to be dressed up,
you can go in like the coach's polo.
Like that's a decent look for a man of our age, I think, as opposed to the jersey.
So I would have just gone in like, I mean, it was decent weather yesterday.
You're in the box.
You're not going to get wet.
I would have gone in like a cool Titans t-shirt or a polo of some sort over jersey.
I do think being in the owner's box, I do think of the power move by you.
How many dates have you been on with this girl?
Like one and a half?
That was the third.
Yeah, that's a big move.
That's a big move to be like, hey, power move by you.
You already have your own radio show.
And then you're taking this girl into the owner's suite.
Like I'd first of all be, I don't know how well you know the girl, but I'd be terrified of bringing somebody into a setting like that.
It's almost like going to Thanksgiving on the third date.
Like you just don't know enough about how the girl's going to behave or the guy.
So I think that was an aggressive move.
I think a lot of your decision-making on Sunday, very questionable at best.
I'm not taking dating advice from you.
You've been married for like 100 years.
This is...
Yeah, but you know why I got married so quickly because I made such good decisions.
My wife was like, oh, I'm not going to let this guy get away.
So, and really, I mean, I decided I wasn't going to let her get away, but I like to pretend that she decided she wasn't going to let me get away.
So I'm telling you how to get locked up.
Like, I'm trying to, if you want to have kids one day and you want to get married, you got to stop making these moves.
It's like, are you also going to take her out to,
to dinner and pay on the first date with a gift card because that's kind of the case same move
is going in the in the jersey.
Well, Jersey guy is gift card first day.
There's nothing wrong with a gift card.
Bring the women in.
I'm saying if you're going to go out on a first date with a girl and like you're out
at Logan's Roadhouse or whatever it is and like, you know, you're like the bill comes
at the end of the night and you pull out the gift card that your mom gave you for your
birthday to pay for the meal, I as a girl, I'm like, if I, if I,
were a girl, I'd be like, I can't, like, this guy can't even afford to take me out on real cash.
Like, you can use the gift card at some point in time. You can't use it on the first date.
I think that's a lot like with the jersey move you did.
Clay Travis is on.
Wow.
National sports radio host, television host, and telling me that.
Dating expert.
And dating expert that I shouldn't have worn the jersey on a date yesterday.
But I will say this. And if you'll be honest, go, if you go to my Instagram, Mr. Bobby
Bones, and see me in the jersey.
Clay, it looks pretty good on me. I'm not going to lie.
It doesn't look like a potato sack.
Well, I don't know what size the jersey was.
I saw your picture, and I'm going to actually disagree with you.
I don't think there's any man.
I don't think there's.
I just seem like we went to the college world series.
And if I remember you wore like a t-shirt basically, right?
Well, the team gave me a jersey while I was there and I put it on.
Clay and I went to the watch.
I know. My husband went.
That's right.
Yeah, that's right.
We were all there together.
Well, the jersey at a baseball game is easier to pull off
because at least a baseball, again, if you're going to rank jerseys,
the football jersey, I think, ranks the last because it's the least useful of all of them, right?
Soccer jersey, if you're going to wear a soccer jersey, you can wear, like, I have a U.S. men's team
and soccer jersey and a U.S. women's team soccer jersey from the World Cup, right?
Like, you can wear that and, like, walk around and look normal in it.
So, like, that's kind of a normal look.
Baseball jersey, kind of a normal look, right?
You can wear a baseball jersey and not look ridiculous.
But you wear like a basketball jersey or a football jersey.
And unless you're actually competing in the sport while wearing it,
you look ridiculous wearing it around.
I'm tired of this phone call.
I just want to let you guys know right now.
You're just tired because I'm pointing out all the things that you did wrong.
I don't.
I don't.
Listen, we have philosophical differences on this.
The team said, welcome to our box.
Here's a jersey.
I wore it.
I feel great about it.
You guys are not shifting me from my stance.
I believe if you feel good, then you are good.
And I'm going to tell you, I was good yesterday.
I was feeling good.
I was wearing the jersey.
I was a little bloated, and the jersey let me hide that a little bit.
So, yeah.
All right, Clay, Travis, there he is.
Clay, thank you for your time.
There he is.
Thank you all.
See you.
All right.
I said you're kind of like a gift card man, too.
You know, and who cares?
Wow.
You want to use a gift card.
On the first date?
It doesn't, if that's all you have, go for it.
Okay, if that's all you have.
I just sit in here and take punch after punch.
Give you all a job, and this is how I'm repaid.
Yeah.
Punch after punch.
I know, I'm glad you guys have opinions.
Let me play a song.
I'm just exhausted of being a punching bag.
It's tough.
Being a punching bag takes it out of you guys.

The Bobby Bones show
Saw this story over the weekend and was like,
holy crap, apparently on a Southwest Airlines flight,
this flight attendant walks up
because what happens is
when there are two pilots,
when one of the pilots leaves the cockpit
to go to the bathroom,
a flight attendant has to go into the cockpit
because they can't have just one person
in there by themselves.
So a flight attendant goes up into the cockpit
and sees like an iPad.
She's like, what is that?
According to the story,
on the iPad, these pilots had put a camera in the bathroom
and they were live streaming people going into the bathroom using the bathroom.
I just don't even understand.
I should read this story, so I don't mess up those facts, but that's what I saw.
It wasn't just one of them.
They were both in on it.
I mean, I read the story, by the way.
I'm just saying I should read it out loud.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, read it.
A lawsuit filed against Southwest Airlines by a flight attendant,
alleges pilots on a 2017 flight had an iPad streaming video
from a hidden camera in a bathroom.
in the airplanes
than the jet, right?
Southwest responded Saturday
by denying it places cameras
in aircraft lavatories
by the way,
if they're not saying it wasn't there,
they're saying they don't do it.
What if they'd have come and like,
yeah, we do that, who cares?
That'd have been a big shock, big plot.
But they were like,
it's an inappropriate attempted humor
not condoned by the company.
The lawsuit alleges the flight attendant
saw an iPad streaming video
from the plane's forward bathroom
when she entered the cockpit
on February 27th, 2017, the flight was from Phoenix to Pittsburgh.
She saw the pilot in the streaming video of the iPad because the pilot went into the bathroom.
She's like, he just left here. Now he's on the screen.
And that's when it all came together.
And the other pilot that was in the room with her on the coffee, it's like, uh.
She put it together.
So she then took her cell phone out very smartly.
They took a picture of the iPad because she couldn't get the iPad.
So she took a picture of it.
and went and told her supervisors.
She said, if this got out, if I went public,
no one would ever fly her airline again.
I mean, I probably still will.
Yeah.
I just got my companion pass.
It didn't for a cheezy.
I get around a lot of times.
Affordable fare.
Free drink tickets.
I'll just try not to use the bathroom.
I don't want to get away.
I guess, yeah, when you go in the bathrooms now,
do we have to look for cameras?
I guess those pilots had clearly stuck a camera in there.
It's the price you pay for relaxed fares.
No, it's really creepy, not cool.
if they find out that's true, those guys can't fly anymore.
Ever.
That's done it.
It's not a good look for Southwest.
They didn't have anything to do with it.
Yeah, they're just a bad apple.
But the people that you hire are often an indication of you.
And if you don't peel them off quickly, that doesn't look good for you.
Like if one of you guys did something, it would be my fault, but it'd be up to me to go,
all right, how do I handle this now?
Okay, well, I have to make a decision.
You stay or you go based on what you did.
And now Southwest has to do some work here.
Maybe commercials.
Here at Southwest, we have cameraless bathrooms.
Yeah.
That was a creepy story, though.
Weird.
That was a creepy story.
Coming up, Lauren Elena from Los Angeles, we'll talk to her.
Also, I watched something this weekend that made me cry like a little baby.
I was going, nah, I'm not going to come.
That's bawled like a baby.
We'll talk about that.
Coming up.
On the Bobby Bone Show now.
Lauren Elena.
Tonight on Dancing with Stars, Lauren Elena, we'll be on.
It will be awesome.
Lauren, let me ask you a question since I have you on the phone right here.
Lauren, how much weight have you lost?
Because I found myself, I lost 12 pounds in the first two weeks, and I had to start eating again.
Like, they made me eat.
What has been your, like, kind of your weight lost deal with all the dancing?
Oh, my goodness.
I think I've lost like 25 pounds.
Yeah.
Crazy, huh?
Yeah.
It's unbelievable.
None of my clothes fit.
I had to go and not that mad about.
Are you feeling yourself lose all the weight?
Or are you just getting on a scale and going, oh, wow, lost some more weight.
I didn't really know my body was changing, but when I went a year two ago and when I was there, I was like, wait, what is happening?
25 pounds crazy, huh?
Yeah.
Tonight, we need everybody to band together.
Lauren Elena on Dancing with the Stars.
What kind of dance are you dancing tonight?
Argentine Tang yet.
Oh, that's what I did for Halloween last year.
Is it a Halloween, like, scary dance?
Remember when I did the beard?
I was like Mr. Sandman?
Yeah.
What is yours?
Is it like a scary dance?
chance?
Yeah, my costume's not really scary, and I get to do some of it.
So she doesn't want to tell us too much.
I often get her in trouble for making her reveal too much.
So this week I'm not going to push her on that.
But what we need is for everyone to kind of band together and vote for Lauren.
It's very easy tonight.
All you have to text, it's just like text the name Lauren and then I don't have the number here, but it's like five numbers.
It's 2-15-23.
There you go.
2-1523.
And while the show's going on,
and hopefully Lauren will get through.
We're down to eight people.
And so it's...
Yes, and I don't want to go home.
And I'm so nervous I'm going to.
Lauren called me last night.
We were talking, and she was like,
I just don't want to go home.
And I was like, yeah, I know.
She's like, I just don't want to go home.
And now she's starting to do the
what did you get me into thing?
What you know, you love it, Lauren.
I do love it.
But I'm so stressed out.
I don't want to go home.
Let's keep Lauren on.
And she's also doing a team.
dance tonight, which is where everybody gets together and does the big group thing.
Oh, yeah.
And so that would be fun too.
So watch Dancing with the Stars.
Vote for Lauren Atlanta tonight.
She had a good week last week.
And by the way, I told you, if you're listening, that she was going to cry.
She did the dance for her stepdad.
Oh, gosh.
And Lauren, it was so good.
Thank you.
How did that feel when you're finishing that up?
Like, on the stage, like, could you actually feel emotion or were you just so adrenaline
pumping?
I couldn't breathe.
I was like, it was crazy.
I couldn't breathe.
I wasn't sure what emotion I was.
feeling my mom when i like did the dance if you go back and watch it there was a part where i like
reach up i had to run and then reach up somehow that part i ran straight towards my mom where they
sat her in the audience and you can see her reach back in the shot yeah it was and that was about
the time in the dance where i started losing it it was really special and that'll be something
you look back at and go man that was that was an awesome moment well tonight laura laena
Dancing with the Stars. Has anyone reached out to you because they see you on TV again?
What, like ex-boyfriends?
Yeah, ex-boyfriends and their moms.
Oh, yeah.
Like, my ex-X-X has, like, been messaging me a bunch of funny.
Yeah.
Hey.
And so how's that?
I always liked her more than him anyway, so it's fun.
Listen at this right now.
Hey, so what's the deal?
Have you been on any dates out in L.A.?
When you know how busy this is, when do you think I would do that?
I mean, I went on a few dates, about being honest.
Yeah.
I don't really want to.
I guess that's why I have it.
I've got to say focused.
I have said no.
Have you been asked by anybody that we know?
Yeah.
Go ahead.
What?
What's it rhyme with?
I have no idea.
What's the name?
Oh, you can't leave us with that.
I got it.
You know who it is?
Yeah.
Who?
Riley Cooper.
Who?
Riley Cooper.
Just say his name.
Bradley Cooper.
Bradley Cooper.
I would have gone with Bradley Cooper.
No.
All right, Lauren Elena's on with us.
Yeah, she'd be like screw dancing with the stars.
I'm quitting Brett Dancing with the Stars right now to hang out with Bradley Cooper.
Has it, has, have any of the dancers asked you out that are single?
No, and I don't think very many of, oh, well, Keio asks me out all the time, but I think he's kind of joking.
I'm not sure if he's being serious.
Okay.
You don't want to tell us.
I'll at least let you text me and I will not share it, but.
I will tell you, Bobby.
All, all, all right.
Okay, tonight, we got to keep Lauren in the mix here.
We got to keep voting her through.
You know, there's some really good dancers left, and we love Lauren, and we're going to help you tonight.
The B team's here for you.
Lauren, Elena, tonight are Dancing with the Stars.
And I'm going to play this new song.
Lauren, tell me a little about this song here, your new song.
All right, let's do your new, no, let's do the radio single.
Yeah, let's do that one.
Okay.
So getting good is all about, for me, I'm all, I'm so, I like to make goals, a big goal.
I'm a big goals person.
Sometimes that I forget.
Once I learned to grow right where I'm planning,
and maybe that's in life,
the blessings that you have,
also, goals are good,
but we should be thankful
for the things that we have right.
There she is.
Our dancer,
our friend,
I'm so curious to know,
and I'm not going to share.
Even if you guys ask me off the day,
I'm not telling you.
Come on.
Who's been asking Lauren Elena out?
Maybe this is a joke.
Maybe it's been me the whole time.
Oh.
Boom.
Maybe so, Bobby.
All right.
All right, here's getting good from Lauren Alain.
See it tonight on TV, Lauren.
Okay.
Bye-bye.
The Bobby Bone Show.
There is a new Bobbycast, which what that show is, it's an interview show I do from my house.
Sometimes we just break it off talking about music, but it's mostly an interview show.
And this songwriter named Josh Keir comes by.
I'd never met him before this, so it wasn't like a friend I had coming over.
But I tell you, I had such a good time doing this podcast.
He talked about when he wrote before he cheats.
It was originally written for Gretchen Wilson, right?
Because Carrie ended up recording it.
But I just want to play you this and let him tell it to you.
Here you go.
Chris calls me up on the phone, says,
dude, you're not going to believe this.
Carrie Underwood's going to record our song.
I don't know who Carrie Underwood is.
But that's awesome.
Because I don't watch much television, obviously.
I'm certainly not a reality TV guy.
So I had no clue.
He's like, no, no, no, you don't understand.
She just won't American Idol.
She's going to be the first country artist
coming off of American Idol.
This is going to be huge.
And so she did.
Here's that first clip of him talking about Gretchen Wilson.
My publisher's bugging the crap on me
to try to write something for Gretchen Wilson.
It turned in the work tape to both of our publishers.
Chris's publisher told him
they didn't want him to demo the song
because they thought it was way too scary
and crazy for country radio.
I said, dude, we're demo on it.
It sounded quite a bit.
bit different. It was much darker
and kind of angrier. They played it
for Gretchen's folks. They passed on it
immediately. So Gretchen passed and
then Kerry cut it. Played those clips in the wrong
order, but you get it, right? Yeah. So wrote it for
Gretchen Wilson before he cheats. Nah,
no thanks. Then Carrie Underwood cuts it and he's like
who's Carrie Underwood? Wow. And then she
cuts it, goes number one. Then they win
that he goes
up and gets nominated for Song of the Year for Grammy, doesn't
win it. But then wins it two years later with Lady
Annabelle Mied you now? He's written two
crosovers. You know? Yeah.
It's crazy.
And here's one more clip.
He had no idea.
He wrote Highway Don't Care
with Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift,
and Keith Urban playing guitar.
And he had no idea that Taylor
was going to sing the female part.
What I didn't know was from the earliest part of Taylor's career,
supposedly, because of the song Tim McGraw,
they had always talked about maybe doing something together.
Couldn't have planned for that.
Couldn't have certainly, you can't walk into a writing room
thinking, oh, we'll write the thing that finally will give them something to do together.
So it is a great podcast.
When he left, I looked at my idea.
I was like, we did an hour.
And it's so good.
His name's Josh Keir is on the Bobbycast, four-time Grammy-winning award songwriter.
Before he cheats, need you now.
He's written, I think, 14 number ones.
Is he loaded?
Like, what kind of car he'd drive over here?
I don't know.
Oh, come on, Ferrari?
Was it nice?
Just you can say yes or no.
It was nice?
Ferrari?
Lambo?
I guess he's loaded.
I don't ever look.
I'm usually in my seat sitting at the podcast ready to go.
Those are all big songs though.
Oh, one of those crossovers?
He wrote two.
Yeah.
Anyway, check it out.
Search for Bobbycast on IHeartRadio
or wherever you listen to your podcast.
It's good.
It's a really, really good one.
What we have not gotten to yet is the show Skinny.
Lauren called in, Clay Travis called in.
There's a lot to go back and listen to on today's show
if you missed it.
But we have to get to Morgan number two.
She put this together.
It's about what happened with us all
the weekend. Here we go.
The latest from the Bobby Bones show.
Morgan number two, showcast Skinny.
Bobby Bones ended up not going to the Alabama Arkansas game this weekend.
He did go to the Tennessee Titans game, though, on Sunday.
Yeah, I went to the Titans game, which is great.
It got in trouble by all of you guys wearing a jersey to the game.
But I didn't go to the Arkansas game because I was like, I'm just going to stay and watch it at home.
I'm glad I didn't.
It was not pretty game.
Alabama beat the crap out of us.
Which was a bit expected.
Alabama's...
Right.
I guess they're number two now,
but they're roughly,
arguably the best team
in the country right now.
But I got so frustrated
where I was fighting
with other Arkansas fans on Twitter.
I never do that.
And then I started threatening them all
like when I'm governor,
I'm auditing all of you.
Oh my goodness.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Auditing all of you.
Should you already throw out threats like that?
Yeah, I should.
Because they wouldn't stop.
Let me say this and I'll move off of it.
I know this is not a sports show.
But we have a new coach.
It's middle of his first year.
You got to give a guy three years
before you start going.
All right,
them or not. And no, everybody needs to chill out and relax and let the program do what the
program is going to do. Listen, I'm so pessimistic about things, but if I still believe in it,
we're good. I believe in it. I couldn't believe any more than I do right now. So people are like,
oh, we've got to get rid of the coach. No, you didn't relax. And everybody that wouldn't shut up,
I was like, you're audited. I'm putting your name down. You're not governor yet, but I will.
But I am governor. Stop hating everybody. We're in a good spot right now. That was just getting frustrated.
That's all. Yeah. I'm in their place. I was fighting with my own people. I didn't like that. I
know. What about Amy? I'm sorry. I lost track standing up for the University of Arkansas football team.
Go ahead. Amy and our husband Ben both had to work in New York City. So they ended up meeting up for a lunch
date and some shopping and she said it was so fun. You both happened to be there. Yeah.
I was there Friday night for the Old Dominion album release party and then he was there Saturday for
work like he had a flight into New York. And so yeah, I met up.
with him about noon on Saturday. We met for lunch. We shopped. We walked a lot. He didn't complain at all,
like the shopping and the walking. Like, it was great. I think I got like 25,000 steps or more that day.
I was wondering how many steps you got. That's a lot. That's crazy. We were all wondering.
Yeah, we were debating around. What about how many steps they got? That's how much walking we did
shopping. So he was a trooper and it was fun. And then I flew home. Yeah. So that was fun.
Lunchbox in-laws came to visit. So they all hung out a lot. And then he took everyone out to breakfast at
Cracker Barrel on Sunday. How was the in-law party?
It was fine. It was bad weather, so there wasn't really much. I mean, we couldn't really do much
outside because of the rain all weekend. So we were kind of stuck indoors, just kind of looking
at each other and playing with the kid. And they really don't come to see us anymore.
It's all about the grandkid. But, you know, to get us out of the house, I was like, hey, guys,
Sunday morning, let's go to Cracker Barrel. Let me tell you, Sunday morning is not the time
to go to Cracker Barrel. It is a very, very busy. It is very, very busy. And they didn't
recognize me and get me in early. So who pays when you take the in-laws out?
Did you pay or you?
Oh, no, no.
But she just said you took the in-law.
It was my idea to go to Cracker Barrel.
It was your idea to spend their money?
And then, you know, you just hope the father-in-law is going to be like,
oh, don't worry about it, I'll get it.
And he did what he does, and he paid for the bill.
All right, what else Morgan number two?
Then Eddie and his family carved their pumpkin this weekend, and after a family vote,
they decided to carve a picture of Forky from Tor Story 4, and everyone was very happy.
Forky.
Yeah, he's a sporky.
I haven't seen Toy Story 4 yet.
He's a new character.
Oh, he's cute.
Yeah.
But, I mean, I always vote for something scary and cool, Jackalentern, and I always lose.
So we did some Disney character.
All right.
There you have it.
That's it.
Yep.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's the show.
Bobby Bones.
Uh.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
So apparently Chris Brown, the singer, is having a yard sale.
And he's like, hey, come out to the yard sale, and you can buy my Gucci, my Fendi, my Supreme, my Valencia.
Yeah.
Rock bottom prices.
Like, I would go to that.
If it fit.
First, I want to know what sizes,
because you can look that up on the internet,
then I would go and buy that stuff.
Yeah, but why is he doing this?
Well, because sometimes you just got to make a buck,
and why would you keep stuff you never going to wear?
Oh, okay.
True.
He's having a yard sale,
and he says,
come by,
and you can get stuff for as low as $200.
It doesn't really say.
Especially weird because the guys had a bunch of issues
with trespassers in his home.
Right.
But then he's having a yard sale.
Why invite people into your...
Space.
90% off, he says.
That's a lot.
It's like when Kane Brown said he was going to sell his truck.
He wasn't selling it cheap.
He just put it up on Instagram.
I was like, I'm selling my truck.
Then we talked to him since.
He's like, I mean, I took that down.
But he put it up on Instagram.
Like, hey, you want to buy this?
Hit up my business manager.
That's what once box did?
So I saw that.
I think that's it for us today.
Amy, what's going on?
I got a dentist appointment today and then a dinner tonight.
So that is my schedule.
A dinner?
Yeah.
Oh, the CMA dinner?
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Well, what do you got?
A couple things. I'm going to head over here.
I have to figure out my touring for next year, so I have a big meeting there.
I have like four meetings today, but it's a great week.
I'm in town.
I guess I leave tomorrow for a little bit, but I'm in town all week, except for Tulsa on Friday,
which we go do a show there.
