Just post your task, set your budget, and one of our local taskers is on the case. Go to Airtasker.com or download the app. Air Tasker. Get anything done? The Disneyland Resort is everything. We came to play the Calliway.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Felt like I was in the roundup game with Woody and Pixar Piers. Have you been holding out on us? No, just showing you where the real Hollywood stars are. Like Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Oh, there's jazz, right? And a drop. You'll see. Grab a Mickey Bressel on the way.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Girl, you're reading my mind. We're almost there. Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park. We came to play. Both part tickets and reservations requires such as two restrictions change and cancellation without notice. Visit Disneyland.com for details.
Starting point is 00:01:36 And now for a bit of breaking news between your breaking news. With me, the Geico Gecko. Here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to Geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My phycas just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there. It feels good to get good news. It feels good to Geico. All right.
Starting point is 00:02:07 The Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show. Hey, we just finished up Tuesday's show. Glad you're here. Lunchbox is out sick again today. She'll be back tomorrow, though. I think he had strep. Is that right? I don't know. I heard a fever. Okay, well, strep is much longer than one day.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Mike D, you're the one that talked to him. What was he telling you was wrong with him? I think he had a fever starting Friday, and he went to the doctor, found out he had stripped. Oh, so both. And you two sit by each other. Yeah, that makes me nervous. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:02:36 I haven't seen them since, what, Friday? I tell you, yesterday we did the song Tuesday, kind of performed it live. Yeah. I get some pretty good reviews on that song. Hey, we have our... People thought it was funny. We have a recording of it, right?
Starting point is 00:02:50 I don't know if we have a real one, unless you have it. Do you have it? I'll look, but I don't know. I don't think so. There she is. There she's back. Welcome to the party, Amy.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Amy just walked back in the studio. She had to go number two. No, I didn't. Oh, my gosh. Would you admit if you did, though? I was gone for, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa, whoa. Let me say what happened on today's show for you to go, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:03:09 No. We were talking about, there was a story that you'll hear later on in the show where older parents have better behaved kids, right? Yeah. Before you get attitudey with your face, let me finish my story because you'll see where I'm going. What does this have to do with that? Well, this is where it has to do with it. Attitudey with your face. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:27 So. During this segment, Amy goes, well, and she makes a joke about, that doesn't mean anything for my kids, because I'm 39, but I'll probably date somebody in their, you know, middle-late 20s. I said, yeah, the mom. No, no, not just, don't do the, oh, I just probably said, don't do nice tone. Boom. Hold on. Let me get to my point. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:47 And I go, my cutoff, Amy, you said your cutoff is 25. I said, yeah, it's young, but okay, okay, 25. And you said, let's play the game of the girls you've dated recently. and goes full under bus, and I'm fine with it. I sat here and took it, and I was like, okay, let's play the game of the girls. And I started listing off, but you'll hear later. The last three dates, the ages of the girls I went out with. Women.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Women, girls. Whatever you want to call them. And so then I have forgotten, Eddie goes, being a smart, I like too, Eddie did the same thing. Eddie goes, what about the girl that went to the wedding with you? Which, by the way, I don't think it's fully fair. It was a date, right? Yes. She came to me and was like, and I can.
Starting point is 00:04:27 kind of knew her about how old she was. And she was like, hey, I would like to go to this wedding with you. And I was like, cool, let's go. I didn't know until we got there that she was 23. I felt like Amy was making a point, and she couldn't find that one example. There's no need for you to help her, though. But I thought, I didn't pursue her. I was like, that'd be cool if we go together.
Starting point is 00:04:43 I haven't been out of one other sense. Who says you're going to pursue your wife, your future wife? My point. Then Amy goes, then Amy goes, she was 18. And she wasn't. It just made me sound a little pervy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She wasn't 18, and you yell that right as we're going into break.
Starting point is 00:05:00 So that's the last thing anybody hears. Yeah, Raymond does in my ear going. All right, we got five seconds, four, and he goes, she's 18, the Bobby Bill show. And I'm like, no, she wasn't. So my point is, you're just yelling things to be funny, and that was funny, and I could appreciate the humor. The same way when you walked in, I was like doing number two, and you're like, don't do that. I'm like, it's just a... All right, I can appreciate your humor.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Thank you. Boom. But for sure a lot of people left that segment being like, wow, she was 18, that's crazy. I know. And then they had to go into work. Because some work. They're like, did you hear a Bobby? I know.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Bones went to a wedding with an 18-year-old. Not true. So I don't know like saying it right now. It feels so bad. Bebh. But that's my point. Lunchbox where he'd be like, what's wrong with that? Nothing wrong.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Did she move her tassel over? Then there's okay today. Then there's no hassle over it. Right. Is that what he says? No. Yeah. He doesn't say move your tassel over.
Starting point is 00:05:58 There's no hassle over. He does say move the tassel. Yeah. That should be his new tassel. I did the Johnny Cochran rhyme. He does it do the tassel thing. Is that Johnny Cochran rhyme? I like that.
Starting point is 00:06:08 When you make a really good rhyme. Yeah, if it don't quit, if it help fit, you must have quit. It's great. Here's Tuesday's top three songs right now. The biggest three songs in country music. At number three, the ones that didn't make it back home, Justin Moore. Here's to the walls. Number two, Dan and Shea.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I want you all to myself. And number one, Luke Combs, beer never broke my heart. Those are your biggest country songs. Your biggest pop song is Ed Shearin and Justin Bieber. I don't care. Because I don't care when I'm with my baby yet. And the number one alternative, huh? Maybe I am somebody.
Starting point is 00:07:12 I can deal with the bad, I'm with my baby. And the number one alternative song is Billy Eilish, bad guy. Say you're bad. Alternative, huh? It's all over. Pop, alternative.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Put a banjo on it and play on country. I got a text here from a 9-14 number saying, hey, age is just a number. My boyfriend's 37, I'm 23. I got no problem with that, which is actually kind of the same. I'm 39. 39 and 25, yeah. I'm fine.
Starting point is 00:07:48 I don't have a problem with it. I just 18, I do. Not even a problem. Legally, do whatever. That's where you can't just say age is just a number. Like, you know? Yeah, because if you say age is just a number, you mean age is just a number. Right.
Starting point is 00:08:01 And that's not good. I don't mean age is a number. No, I know you don't. I mean, an appropriate age is the number that I follow strictly. I don't even shut up. Everybody shut up. Get off me. Amy just put me in a bad spot.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I didn't even say anything. So I owe you three number two jokes to equal that out. Wow. Let me see. Done with this list of things to talk about. Yeah, if you're listening to this right now, you can call the show. You can be put on the post show pre-show. Our phone number.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Raymond, do you tell that we may get calls? I don't know who's watching this. Christina? Yeah, I mean, will you let her know we're going to get calls? Mm-hmm. 877-77 Bobby. We got a few more minutes. 877 Bobby.
Starting point is 00:08:42 What does the average person spend the most time doing during the day? Eating and drinking? Sleeping? Commuting? Or leisure and commuting or leisure and family time? Working and commuting? Yeah, 10 hours. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:12 that's like bacteria, living bacteria. I didn't take them as much the last two days. Could that affect my sleep? I don't know. I take them through my butt. No, you do not. Oh, I'm not. I'm like, well, you're doing that wrong.
Starting point is 00:09:23 I mean, I believed you. I've been doing this all wrong then. I haven't slept well of the last couple nights. Right in the bloodstream. Okay. The GI track, right there. But a little bit of my brain fog is lifting. Like 20% of my brain fog is lifting.
Starting point is 00:09:40 my recall is getting it's still not good but it's I can feel it I can feel it lifting from my brain today The fog Today That's a song Amy
Starting point is 00:09:55 That we do in our Bobbycast Where people misunderstand the meeting I can hear them come in the dead night Amy Did you pull that song up right window Amy and the meeting is crazy Because it's like Well I'll place them up for you a minute
Starting point is 00:10:09 But yeah Check out the body and listen to Eddie and I talk about songs that you thought meant one thing, but don't. It means something completely different. The best way to get rid of stress at the end of the day? Beer. Orgout. Cracking, open a book.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Oh, you said cracking. You had me a cracking. A study found that reading for just 30 minutes has similar stress-reducing efforts to 30 minutes of yoga. Wow. What do you think about that? Yeah, I think there's probably something to it. I did not get to read last night. What?
Starting point is 00:10:39 But I did my whole week of dedicated time, and so I had my goal. and I tried to read every day but I didn't have time last night. Maybe you would just love better if you had. Maybe you're slutted a little. You're not going to say words right. No, that wasn't smart aleck you. The tone was very smartly.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Oh, gosh. Is this the beginning? Can you play it from the beginning of the song? This is Phil Collins in the year tonight. Oh yeah, we got to unblock the phone lines if we're going to take calls. Yeah, she had them unblocked, but S-I-X is taking calls too.
Starting point is 00:11:12 You want to take those calls? Yeah, we'll take our calls too. No, is there going to think they're calling in for... No, no, do it. Just answer them. Okay. Here we go. Listen, Amy, tell me if you can tell me what this song's about.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Ready? Turn it up a little bit. You'll listen to the words, maybe. But it's also, like, urban legend at this point what this song's about. Because of the words. You've gone so far. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:12:03 It's just a chorus. It's so dark, huh? Yeah. Yeah, here you go. Your thoughts? I mean, it's the first time I've really listened to the lyrics, and I didn't realize that it... I thought it was more like,
Starting point is 00:12:42 this is... If you think this night's special, just hold on, it's going to get better. Oh, wow. Oh, like a sex song. But now, it's like death is near you, so hold on. So the word is that he saw another guy watch a guy drown and not save him.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Eminem even references. in a later song. But Phil Collins, he goes, I don't have a song about anything. He just found a bunch of gibberish. He freestyled. He's like, it just fits. I just started saying words. Oh, wow. That's crazy. No, oh, Lord. Not oh, wow. I think he didn't say, oh, wow, that'd be the word. Yeah, tonight. There it is. But we do a lot of those songs. So yeah, it really means nothing. It means nothing. Wow. And he said that. Did you know Phil Collins was the drummer of Genesis? Do you know the evolution of Phil Collins?
Starting point is 00:13:34 Genesis drummer, then solo. So Genesis was looking for, do you know who the lead singer of Genesis was? Yes. Peter Gabriel. Boom. So Peter Gabriel was the lead singer of a band called Genesis. Phil Collins was the drummer.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Peter Gabriel goes solo. They're auditioning people to be the lead singer. Phil Collins is still the drummer. And so he's like, well, I'll just sing. So as the drummer, he's singing and drumming. And becomes the lead singer because they're like, well, you already know the songs and you can sing, so we'll just make you the drummer even just for now.
Starting point is 00:14:02 and they have hits with the second lead singer which is so rare and so then he just moves to the front still drum some but then became the front guy because in videos and stuff you don't sit behind the kit you can't get the camera angle but isn't that nutty
Starting point is 00:14:14 then he goes solo and obviously you know him for that now Amy do you know what Peter Gabriel things? If you're putting anything on my screen I don't see it I think I do if you give me a hint In your eyes the light the heat Your eyes
Starting point is 00:14:27 I am complete your eyes To feel the Your eyes Land Cup is your eyes. Raymondo, can you pull up your eyes? That's a jam. Good recall on Peter Gabriel, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Good for you. I didn't know that that was the evolution of the band. Oh, man, that takes me back. To what? Well, my... It's before your day. I know, but my sister was in drill team. So she was in high school.
Starting point is 00:14:51 I was in junior high. And she was like, she was really good. Like, she was a officer on the drill team. And they did a song to this. And she would always practice in our living room. So, yep. Oh, I'm back in my living room. in Onion Creek, Austin, Texas.
Starting point is 00:15:04 What movie is this where he's like... Green carpet. Is this what he's playing out of the stereo? No. That's not it? This is the only reason why I know the song is my sister practicing to it. John Cusack?
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mike D, I think this is... Say anything. I think this is what he's playing when he holds the stereo. I don't know. I don't know. I used that GIF the other day
Starting point is 00:15:28 because I was talking about the guy coming out on The Bachelorette. And he's like, he's going to come at that boo box over. I did see that. Such an old, I could be wrong on this one. Is that right? Is that the song? This is it?
Starting point is 00:15:37 Oh, good for you. I don't think I've ever seen that movie. Oh, that's a good. The Cameron Crow movie. You know who he is? Yeah, he's, uh, he was in Gladiator. No. No, it's Russell Crow.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I know. You did Jerry McGuire. Cameron Crow, almost famous. Jerry McGuire, yeah. All my instincts. Oh, go, Amy, go. They return. The lives alive.
Starting point is 00:16:01 So soon will. burn without a voice without my blood I reach out from the inside in your eyes the way I see you your eyes I got to pee you your eyes cool I give you one more story we didn't get oh do you want to talk about Amy getting rejected for a podcast for interviews oh yeah she's having to learn the life Not everybody wants to come be on your show. Yeah, which is fine. I mean, but it's not going to scare me from reaching out, you know?
Starting point is 00:16:41 Good, good, good. Yeah. Rick Warren. I don't know who that is. He's a pastor, purpose-driven life. Okay. You know that book? No, okay, big-time pastor.
Starting point is 00:16:51 I will say his rejection letter came from the woman that works the front desk at his church or whatever, and she was very kind. Like, it was amazing. Like, she was so thoughtful. She said she'll even be, like, praying for me. It's great. Unfortunately, he can't fit this in a sense. schedule at this time.
Starting point is 00:17:06 And then... You're not big enough. He could. You're not big enough. I know. You're big. Your podcast is big. People don't even realize
Starting point is 00:17:11 how big your podcast is. Yeah. And then they, she attached a verse. That's what they're playing for me. Signed it blessings. Like every friend tells me their loss. Is their loss, Amy?
Starting point is 00:17:23 Every friend tells you that when it doesn't work out. Thanks for your note to Pastor Rick about your interest in having him on the four things with Amy Brown podcast. And looking at his schedule, we can see how this will be possible for him except. your invitation. Don't you do phone calls too? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:40 I mean, I wouldn't have him live. I would probably, yeah, just interview him over the phone. And then. A lot. I mean, oh, I mean in person. Yeah. IRL.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Yeah. In real life. Right. IRL. You guys don't write. Wait, I write IRL sometimes. You do? Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:17:54 I don't write the letter U for you. Nah. But I write IRL and I write LMK. Let me know. But is that, is that okay for me to do that? Yeah. Like, I want to do it anyway.
Starting point is 00:18:05 I don't care what you say. But I'm wondering, like, would you see it and be like, all right, Bobby's acting 12? No, that's fine. And then IDK, it's okay. I don't do IDK. I don't, I'm not hating on it. Just don't do IDK. But if I'm like, we get together today at 3 p.m. to do X, Y, Z.
Starting point is 00:18:20 I'm just doing whatever. I'll be LMK. Let me know. Yes, Amy. She's checked out. No, I don't do that. Because we just have. Everybody gets tired during this part of the show.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Wait, I'm not tired. I still have my other rejection letter. I was finding the letters to pull them up because I wanted to... It was just funny how Rick's rejection was like several sentences and really kind. And then, you know, other people, they just get to the point. Who else? I reach out to Anthony from Queer Eye. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:48 And I love that show. And it said, thank you for the interest, but we have to decline at this time. XX. Which one to Anthony? To the point. The... Well, I need to Google which one. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:19:03 I'll tell you. I don't want to describe my... wrong. He's the cooking one. He cooks on the show. What's he looked like? I don't know what they do. I don't know the difference. I'll show you the picture. I watch it. I don't know their names. Like I know there's a good-looking black guy. There's a good-looking white guy. There's a guy with long hair that's funny. Not the long hair. Not the black guy. Oh, I like that guy. Yeah. Yeah. He's who I would date if had to pick one of them. That's the one I would date. Do you ever play that game? No. Oh, yeah. Amy. Let me see.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Her un-cruly. On queer eyes? Yeah. Yeah. It's like, which one would you date on clear eye. That's the one I would pick. Yeah, I mean, he's hot and he cooks and stuff, which is awesome. But he's busy right now, so he can do it either. And I was like, okay. I mean, I got those rejections, like, within the same hour in one day. So that could kind of really like be a, oh. But I kill, I'll keep reaching for the stars. Hey, Ray Mundo, is Rod out there? Uh, I don't see him. You mean, have Hillary Ron. Yeah. Ray, there's a camera on you now, so we just saw you not look anywhere and say, I don't see him. Ray, who just walked by the hall to your left?
Starting point is 00:20:14 I don't know if that was Buckman or... Buckner? Buckner? Oh, my goodness. Oh. I didn't Buckner. But it might have been... Who is that, Ray? Right there? Yeah, Rod's right there.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Okay, he's right there. I'm coming out. Okay. Tom's coming out right now. I can't take the cameras with his bones. That's right. I gotta go. Hey, there he is. Can he hear me? He can hear you with these headphones on. Oh, yeah, put him on real quick. Why are you grumbling?
Starting point is 00:20:42 Was that grumbling? Why are you grumbling? Awesome. I didn't feel like I was grumbling. Can you see Rod on the camera? Yeah. You're on. By the way, nice shirt. You like it? I do. It's a new one. Yeah, that's a good-looking shirt. Is it an untucket? No, it's a morano. But it's sort of untucket like, it's not real long. Those untuckets? What a great idea. Unbelievable. I got like three or four of them?
Starting point is 00:21:00 I have a bunch. that I'm just like you don't here's the point you don't got to tuck it in no I don't you just leave it on talks and it doesn't look sloppy yeah I get it not even a commercial this isn't even an endorsement yeah as I'm saying it's not even a commercial like I really think it's a good it's a good product and and how's are you tan you like extra little bit a little bit yeah what did you do to get tan the sun okay and how did you feel about CMA Fest the TV show I thought CMA Fest was literally one of the best ever action pack fast paced you did a pretty good job too yeah I thought I All right. I was surprised I was you so much.
Starting point is 00:21:32 A lot. Yeah. Like the Bobby, the Bobby show. I don't know that that's the case, but... Okay, we have a meeting, so I'm going to head out. Thanks for hopping on. I'm glad you feel safe enough and vulnerable enough. Just come on with us. Trust me, very vulnerable.
Starting point is 00:21:45 He grew up, mother. And we're like, we heard you grow up. Oh, you did? All right, I got to go. Everybody good? Yeah. All right, check out Amy's Four Things podcast with Amy Brown. And today, Janet Kramer's coming to the house.

Starting point is 00:25:24 All right. What do you want to say, Matt? I just wanted to call, in light of all the negativity and all the stuff that's going on, you know, in the news and the world today, I just want to say, I really appreciate. the positivity, the love and the support that you guys show. And I appreciate the radio show because it just, you know, it helps me get my day going in the mornings. Well, thanks. We appreciate that. That's a bit of our goal.

And I appreciate you, Bobby, and I appreciate the studio as well. All right. Thanks a lot. May. Have a good morning.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Thank you. You too. There he is. Matt and Virginia. How about this story? A man in Tennessee who was convicted of two counts of attempted murder fled the courthouse during a recess. So he's like, I'm out of here. And one of the jurors gave him a ride. Whoa. How about that? Yeah, his name is, we'll call him Matariki. Yes, Blake's, he was convicted of two counts of attempted first-degree murder. It was all happening. He was seen leaving the courthouse. They saw the Camero return and noticed a juror getting out of the vehicle.
Starting point is 00:26:49 They say he fled from the courthouse during recess while the jurors were deliberating. Once the juror was questioned, they admitted a driving to Blake's home and said they did not discuss the case during the drive. Oh, good. He was previously sentenced to 20 years in prison on each of the attempted murder counts and a $5,000 fine in the remaining counts. They can't find him still, by the way. Oh, he's still gone. I mean, you believe the juror didn't know anything what's up? No, I don't believe that at all.
Starting point is 00:27:14 And they for sure discussed the case. No, they didn't, Eddie. Yeah, the Camaro. The Camaro that picked him up. The jury got up with the Camaro. Rocking a Camero. Glad you guys are here. Thanks for hanging out with us here on Tuesday's show.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I feel like we got a pretty good one today. Amy, you good? Yeah, you? Yeah, I'm pretty good. I'm good, man, thanks. All right. So far, lunchbox is not here. He was sick yesterday.
Starting point is 00:27:33 He left early. We'll see if he comes back later today. I don't know yet, so we'll see. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. So Amy's son has a birthday on Friday? Yeah, his birthday's on Saturday, but the party's on Friday. Okay, and you're looking for someone to come to his party and act like who? Alexa.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Because he loves Alexa. Alexa, he talks to her every day. She plays him his favorite song. She tells him the weather. He can really ask her anything. And he wants her to come. He doesn't know that it's just a computer? Bobby
Starting point is 00:28:06 All of this stuff is pretty new to him I don't know what he thinks I mean I haven't wanted to like crush his dreams I asked him the other day what he thought Alexa looked like I mean for all I know I think he's picturing that you know someone's working somewhere
Starting point is 00:28:22 and then their voice is coming through the box right it's not like that he gets that AI or computer there's really not someone there no okay so he wants her to come yes and so where are you putting out right now? I mean, Stasheera tries to ruin it all the time. And I'm like,
Starting point is 00:28:38 Stasheer, be quiet. Oh, you want him to believe it then. Well, I mean, I don't want to, I just said I don't want to ruin it for him. Like, it's his friend. Go ahead. We're struggling in the friend department. So, yeah, I need someone. He thinks she's got brown skin, beautiful skin, by the way. She wears sunglasses, and she's really nice. So I need someone that fits that. So you're talking to people in Austin right now. Yes. If there's someone that will wear sunglasses, have brown skin, beautiful skin. Beautiful. How much will you pay them? Well, I don't know. What do you think I should pay?
Starting point is 00:29:11 I mean, I guess if you could show up for like, I'm an hour to make it worth your time. 100 bucks. Okay. So I will pay someone $100 to come beat Alexa. But I mean, if he asked you something, you have to talk to him. Like, he might be saying things like, Alexa, play Old Town Road. They have to sing Old Town Road to him? And then she needs to go, I'm going to take my home to the Old Town. Are you being serious or no?
Starting point is 00:29:39 No, I mean, but somehow, maybe she could have, like, her iPhone in her pocket or if she has that and, like, she could have certain songs skewed up. I can tell you the ones he asked for the most right now, and then you can just hit play and all of a sudden it'll start coming out of your pocket. That would be clutch. Are you being serious? I mean, it would be a nice touch. How will people need to get a hold of you if they want to take this job? Let's see. How could people get a hold of me?
Starting point is 00:30:03 Amy of Bobbybones.com. Okay, that's the email address. But in the subject line, put Alexa all caps. Okay. And you will hire someone in Austin to come and be Alexa. Yeah. They have to be in character. What do you want them to wear?
Starting point is 00:30:16 All black. Yeah? Mm-hmm. But sunglasses. And then know the weather. Mm-hmm. Stuff like that. Yeah, look outside.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Be full of useless information. Is it cheating if they use an iPhone to be Alexa? No. No? What do they need to do to get the job? job done. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:34 And your son is turning how old? Nine. School starts tomorrow? Yep. Yeah. Interesting. I know. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:41 I can't believe we're already interviewing another school year. I feel like he's going to be 18 before we know it. So, Shiro basically already is. And she is? 12. But. And how are they getting along? I mean, they're annoyed with each other right now for sure.
Starting point is 00:30:55 But I think once school gets back in and they'll have some separation, that will be good. Do they feel like brother and sister, like for sure brother and sister now? Yes, and they fight, but she just gets, she's so smart and ahead of things and always has been. And she's a good caregiver. Like, she helps him and she wants to help him, but then he's so behind at certain things that she just like sort of throws her hands in there sometimes. She's like, I give up. He doesn't want to listen to me. He doesn't understand.
Starting point is 00:31:19 He doesn't understand what I'm saying. He's being, you know, silly. He doesn't get it. You think your daughter has a photographic memory? I do. I didn't really, I mean, I knew she always, and I think some stuff is going to come out, the more she learns English and the more she learns English and the, better she gets at school. But I knew when she first moved here, like we would watch certain movies and it would be stuff she saw, who knows, like years ago, maybe at the orphanage or something.
Starting point is 00:31:45 And all of a sudden, she would be just sitting there and she'd go, boom. And the next, like, two seconds later, there would be an explosion in whatever we were watching. And I'm like, how did you even know that? She's like, I saw this once. Like, I don't even, and I can't do that. So that was just, that example has popped up time and time again. And now she's starting to read. And the other day, she wants to be a doctor, an actress, and a singer. Me too. All three. So I'm like, you know, if you want to pursue your acting career, which she loves plays,
Starting point is 00:32:12 like, you know, I was like, you know, you've been to Broadway. I mean, but those, they read all the time and they have to be good at reading scripts and memorizing things. And she looked at me and she said, you mean like, da-da-da-da, and she started rattling off these sentences. And I had no idea what she was doing. I thought she was just spewing stuff. And I said, what are you, what are you saying?
Starting point is 00:32:30 She goes, that's the book I started reading today. and I pull out the book and what she had said was literally the first page of the book like the first four sentences and that's what she said back to me and I was like hold up like you're like you could have some
Starting point is 00:32:47 I mean she I don't know that it's legit photographic memory but she's close which I am super happy for because I can read a book and I'll read four pages and I'll be like shoot I have no idea I would just read it I'd go back and read it again so I feel like you kind of have that
Starting point is 00:33:02 I don't think I have photographic memory or my recall is just fast. Like what I have is... I got lightning quick. Yeah, but you read it once and you pertain. Maybe. Retain it? Retain it. See?
Starting point is 00:33:16 See? That pertains to this topic you do because I feel like... And if anybody has any tips for me, I just want to like, you know, if it's a skill we can sharpen, I want to hone in on it because it'll definitely help her in school. I see those classes at 2 o'clock in the morning. They're like, be a speed reader. Oh, my mom more. that stuff for me? What was that?
Starting point is 00:33:35 Golly. I had such trouble with reading. She ordered, well, I mean, I did hooked on phonics. Did not work for me. You know, that was the tagline. You did hooked on phonics? Worked on phonics worked for me. And then the joke.
Starting point is 00:33:46 She did this 18 year old. The joke around our house was hooked on phonics. Didn't work for me. You can't even say. It was like, hooked on tonic. Oh my gosh. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:56 I'm getting a lot of texts about you hiring someone to be Alexa for your son. Yeah. Yeah. They say. Be careful. He doesn't get made fun of at school if he believes Alexa's real. Nobody. He goes to homeschool. It's fine. Again, it's fine. No, Amy. Tell him it's a computer. This is creepy. Oh, no, it's not. Is it?
Starting point is 00:34:17 That's what they said. Alex is not a good idea. Yeah. Wait, there's nobody that's like, this is amazing. I'll come. On text, not yet. But I'm sure someone will email you. I hope you get someone. Do you think it's weird? I mean, I do. It's right at the point of him. Why is it weird?
Starting point is 00:34:36 Okay. It's right at the point of him starting to be that age where you got to start going, hey, some of this stuff isn't real. Yeah. Yeah, we'll get there. But I mean, I get that he's turning nine, but he's not nine. You know, cognitively and emotionally, not nine. Like, this is still fun for him.
Starting point is 00:34:52 It'd be like people want unicorns at their birthday party and people get horses and put. But they don't think unicorns are real. No. Yes, some of these kids do. They get a horse. They put. I would say he's about four or five years old. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:06 I'm just saying it feels a little weird to me, but you're the mom. You know more. I'm not questioning anybody's parenting skills. I mean, people have clowns come to parties. Okay, but again, they don't think they're real. Yeah, they do, maybe. Is this weird around the room, Morgan number two? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Eddie? Well, I wouldn't call it weird. I'm just, it's just like Bobby said, like Bobby said, you need, you should probably start telling them what's real and what's not. And it's good for, like, just his growing up. Like, him knowing that it's a computer. I know, but he loves to dress up as Captain America on the weekend and keep the neighborhood safe. And I don't crush his dreams with that.
Starting point is 00:35:39 I'm like, yeah, buddy, you get it. But he doesn't really think he's Captain America. I don't know. Well, maybe there was a conversation before, Alexa. Ramundo, should she tell her son? Well, I think at the party, he's going to learn that it was all just a joke. Okay, fine. It was a tough way to learn.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Yeah, in front of everyone. Exposed. Okay, I'll just scratch the whole thing. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, we've got to see this. Follow through. We got to do this. Oh, okay. Well, I mean, first of all, I need Alexa, and she's got to fit all the requirements.
Starting point is 00:36:12 And I've had the same strategy in dating, and it hasn't worked out for me. I'm just saying it's going to be tough. Yeah. Find someone one. Kenny Chesney, all the pretty girls. Bobby Bone's show. Someone said, I could be Alexa first on his birthday, but I'm a dude and white and not very smart. Give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:36:27 That's not going to happen. He's Trent, the bad version. Trent's like a lower operating system. All right. The Bobby Bones Show. Big three stories. Raymundo, what you got? President Donald Trump's going to visit El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio this week
Starting point is 00:36:41 to meet with state and local officials in wake of the shootings. And on the news, Kanye West domes for the homeless that he's been building on his 300-acre property could be demolished because the structures are in breach of building code and his neighbors are complaining. And finally, dangerous heat continues. Officials are warning highs could exceed 110 degrees in fiends. in Las Vegas, Death Valley could see 120. They're saying not to go outside.
Starting point is 00:37:07 Hey, thanks for hanging out with us. On this day in country music. The Bobby Bones Show. On this day in country music. It's about one of my favorite Elvis songs ever. 62 years ago, Elvis hit the top of the country chart with, Just let me be your teddy bear. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:37:29 This was really great. written for Elvis's second film called Loving You, not only did it top the country chart, it topped the pop chart, and it topped the R&B chart. Wow. Oh, wow. He had number one in all three of them. The songwriters took advantage of Elvis's accidental reputation for loving teddy bears because there was a false rumor around him that he loved teddy bears.
Starting point is 00:37:50 False. Yeah, he didn't. Somebody made it up and then all of some people started giving him teddy bears all the time. That's rude. So we had thousands of teddy bears and at one point he donated all of them to the National Foundation for infantile paralysis. All the teddy bears he had gathered, they saved and donated. But there you go.
Starting point is 00:38:05 On this day in 1957, Elvis Presley tops the charts with, Oh, let me be your teddy bear. Fun fact. Full House occasionally featured this lullaby as Michelle loved this song, and her dad and the uncles would sing teddy bear on a full house. This one's going out to a little lady who's about to go to slothi. Two, three, four A baby
Starting point is 00:38:33 Baby Your love Botton chat to be About a Around my dad I need to Anywhere Oh, let him be
Starting point is 00:38:43 The Bapada Bada da Bobby Bones show Listen to this story here This guy 22 years old He scammed Amazon
Starting point is 00:38:53 At a $370,000 By just returning dirt to them What? So he didn't buy dirt So he would buy dirt So he would buy, let's say he bought a Nintendo. And he would take it and he would take the Nintendo out of the box and then he would fill it to its exact weight with dirt and ship it back.
Starting point is 00:39:09 And they would never open the box. Oh, no. So we'd just go sit in a warehouse. They could potentially ship it back out. So he'd get the money back and then he'd sell the Nintendo that he kept. And he made $370,000. 22 years old, been arrested because he kept sending them dirt. He filled up the boxes with,
Starting point is 00:39:29 the same exact weight of the product. Amazon's return policy says item shipped from the website can be returned within 30 days of receipt. Refunds are processed in two business days and customers can expect their funds to show their account 35 days. And so he has been released on bail and he has started his own company with all that money. So now it's like he's got this company going with a bunch of money he cheated Amazon out of. Wow. It's almost like people that were billing Amazon and Apple. I think maybe even Google and Facebook with all these, hey, we did. We did. a bunch of work at your place, and so they would just pay them. They're massive companies.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Wow. Scammed out of like millions of dollars. I saw that this morning. Mike D. went and saw that movie. Mike D., what was it called? Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Oh, yeah. Quentin Tarantino.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Yeah, Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio. It just looks so long. It is pretty long. How long? Two hours and 45 minutes. What? Oh, gosh. That's like Avengers.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I know. Yeah. I mean, and that was really good. The biggest movie ever. But it was long. But it was long. What's up with this movie? Is it good?
Starting point is 00:40:30 It's good. I didn't know what it was about going into it, but it's like Leonardo DiCaprio. He was like a big star in the 50s, and now he's like trying to get his career back when the 70s are coming around. Yeah. But yeah, it's good. What's our rating? What's our rating? What's our stars or five?
Starting point is 00:40:53 What's long? What's cool. What's cool. only three out of five? Yeah. Why not the other one and a half stunt doubles? Because it kind of like drags in the middle of it because it's so long. Golly, you would think that they would just be like, let's cut this part out.
Starting point is 00:41:10 You know? Like, let's make it shorter. That one hour long part. Right. Like, let's get to the point. Bobby Boneshan. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30 second skinny.
Starting point is 00:41:22 Luke Bryan is returning as a judge on American Idol. And our own Bobby Bones is also returning to the show as an in-house mentor. The new season airs in the spring of 2020. In a cute video that's taking over the internet, Luke Combs reposted a fan video of a young little boy, holding a guitar, and singing the verse from his latest number one single, Beer Never Broke My Heart, and captioned it, sing it, buddy.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Thomas Rett has teamed up with the clothing outfitter Chubbies for a swimwear line. It's called the Retro Collection, and it's inspired by colors and styles from the 90s. You can see the line at Bobby Bones.com. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Tell me something good. So remember the weiner dog that was taken from the people's front yard by the Amazon person delivering the package? I do. I can't stop thinking about it. I brought it up like four times on this show since that happened. Right. Well, update.
Starting point is 00:42:20 Weiner Dog has been reunited with his family. So a landscaper that was working nearby whenever the, you know, incident went down when the person stole the dog, like, saw what they look. like. And I guess when there was some sort of a lineup or maybe pictures were shown or something, the landscaper was able to identify the person. And since they worked for Amazon had their info. So then they were able to find them. Obviously, no longer works for Amazon. Where's your weener? Where's the weiner? Where do you think it is? Where's the weir? What rooms a weiner in? I know. And yeah, it's crazy. Luckily, the dog, I mean, it was trying to be sold on Craigslist.
Starting point is 00:42:57 $70. Crazy that, you know, thankfully it hadn't have been sold. I mean, I'm sure they're going to Show me the we're outside. Come out with your weiner. Up. Okay. Put the wiener in your hands and come out the door. Okay, drop the weiner.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Drop your weiner. Okay, so, but the dog is back with the family. Yes. I couldn't stop thinking about. RJ, the weiner was taken to their family. The Phillips. They now have their dog back, which is super cool. And shout out to the investigator, Ethan Stark.
Starting point is 00:43:32 Oh, sounds like a, a. like the cousin of an Avenger. Right, I know. Tony. Yeah. So my dog over the weekend had played with a couple dogs, but they can't handle my dog. He's so puppy and just jumps.
Starting point is 00:43:46 It's nonstop energy. One dog, I had a friend come over and pick my dog up. It's like, I'll play with my dog. He's always looking for a buddy. And they did okay, but eventually the older dog got tired of my dog. And then another dog came over to my house. And the dog who had, that dog, their dog had never been aggressive, but was like, my dog.
Starting point is 00:44:03 the whole time. Because he just wouldn't, my dog wouldn't stop. And I was like, my dog's got to learn. So whatever he's got to do, let him play. But he wouldn't stop. So I'm trying to find a good play partner. That's the only thing that's tiring my dog out right now. Yeah. And wouldn't you get RJ? RJ the weiner. He's been through a lot. He can teach my little dog about the ropes.
Starting point is 00:44:19 All right, Amy, that's a good story. Thank you. That was tell me something good. Starting point is 00:47:10 All right. Lunchbox is still out sick, so filling in the bonehead is producer Eddie. Eddie? All right. This one comes to you from Alabama. Over the past few weeks, a man and a woman broke into a grocery store in Alabama and stole toilet paper for the third time. How bad do they need it, though? Pretty bad. Okay. Bad toilet paper. So the third time, the cops were ready. They're there waiting for him. Bam, they get busted. Turns out they own a janitorial supply place. That's why they were stealing toilet paper.
Starting point is 00:47:40 They weren't just in need. Of toilet paper? No. They were in need of an emergency. Wow, they were stealing toilet paper to use for their own business. Yeah, but I think the bonehead part is three times. Yeah. Hit different stores you're going to do that.
Starting point is 00:47:53 You know what I mean? No, don't hit any stories. Oh, right, right, right. Figure out your business. Right, right. Yeah, that's nutty. All right, there you go. All right.
Starting point is 00:47:59 That's your bonehead story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones, Lent America. In the recording studio, this is the guitar that they play on the record. It's only the guitar riff. Amy, are you ready? You're up first. Ready.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Can you name the song just by the guitar part? Song number one. Sing along with it, if you know. Or, change quick. Now, stay in alive. Your answer is. Staying alive. She says staying alive.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Show me staying alive. Good, Amy. Yes. No, no, just the guitar, just the guitar lick there. Come on, Bones. You can't save a... Oh, wait. Whatever, whatever.
Starting point is 00:49:02 It'll come back to it. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Okay. Eddie. Come on. Name it by the guitar riff, song number two.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Oh, you know it, huh? Yeah, I know it. Amy. What? You know where you are? No, I don't. You're in the jungle, baby. Welcome to the jungle.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Oh. You didn't hear that? No. Really? Hit that from the start again. It goes. He goes. It goes high.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Yeah. No. I still don't hear it. Okay. But, you know. Morgan number two, you want play? Lunchbox is still out. You want to take a shot?
Starting point is 00:50:02 I can try. I give you a really easy one. You love going and dancing. You're 25. You know all the club songs. Yeah, club songs. But club songs where they play, it's a bar song. You know all the bar songs.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Okay. Okay. I'm giving you a hand. It's a bar song. Okay. Number three. I think I got it. Don't stop believing in my journey?
Starting point is 00:50:34 No. Wow. You did it. That's good. That's good. All right, everybody's got one. Hey, by the way, let me salute all of you guys for getting one right. Amy, one more round back around.
Starting point is 00:50:48 Are you ready? Ready. Name the song by Just a Guitar. Alright. So far no words. So, no words. Oh, yes! Yes!
Starting point is 00:51:25 Hey, Salcidas. Good job. It takes a minute to get there, but... All right, Eddie. Come on. They're all pretty easy. I was going to try to stump you with one. We'll just go on order.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Raymondo. They're all pretty easy. Go ahead. You said I'm going to get it? No, no, no. I'm playing in a country song. Me along. Okay, I know this one.
Starting point is 00:52:02 You know the title? Yeah. No, no, no, long. Nice job moving on. Me. Yeah, me. Oh, I love rock and roll. Amy, I truly had to do your technique.
Starting point is 00:52:19 My method? All right, Morgan number two, back over to you. Okay. Ready, listen closely. They played this one also in the bars. All right. They're all targeted right to her. He's like an Instagram ad.
Starting point is 00:52:35 This is right to her. This is your wheelhouse. Ready Morgan number two. I'm ready. Listen. Not there yet. Sing along, Morgan, number two. There are no words yet.
Starting point is 00:53:00 1989. That was where Toro's hair was long. Okay, you got the song. Keep going. Boy, man. Yeah. Oh, wow. The summer song. Still going.
Starting point is 00:53:21 I know the title. Do you know it, Amy? Is it like summer of 69? That's the only lyric that I know. It's Kid Rock. It's Kid Rock, yes. All summer long? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Oh, I was there. You had it. Because you were like, Who hell was your life? Boy and girls. All right, Eddie and Amy, you guys are still in it. All right. Battling it out.
Starting point is 00:53:51 We're going to do, speak it around. Yep. Just yell your name if you know it. Raymondo, let's do number eight. Here we go. Amy. I will break you. Hey.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Amy. Santana. In the end of the song. Smith. Oh! We got an upset. This is amazing. I've never met Eddie at anything useful.
Starting point is 00:54:15 I don't know. I just felt it in my soul. Wow. That I get from you. You got the kind of lover that would be so smooth. So give me your heart. Make it real. Let's forget about it.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Happy! Wow. Amy! B'am! Amy! There she goes. There she goes. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Listen, you all played wonderfully. Amy wins. Yeah. Eddie got both of his right. And Morgan number two got one. I know. We all win. Everybody wins.
Starting point is 00:54:49 The Bobby Bones show. All right, so what happened? My friend was on a flight, and a nine-year-old on the flight, as they are taxing, about to take off, air-dropped a bomb picture. to people on the plane. Nine-year-old. So they're taxing. The pilot has to turn the plane around. And I'm like, we just saw this in the news.
Starting point is 00:55:09 That sucks. No. Yeah. Like not too long ago. And then now, boom, it happened to one of my friends. And they had to turn around. He was not in like the best position of the plane to see exactly what happened. But the nine-year-old was removed from the plane by police. And yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:23 You have to. Yes. By the way, what air dropping is, if you're not super into the iPhone, is that it's basically, an easier way to text message, you just go connect, connect, boom, it sends it through. Right. It's like a direct connection. Yes. And if the settings are right, anyone's phone can accept it. Like mine is on, except from everyone.
Starting point is 00:55:43 So if my phone is in range, like a Wi-Fi connection, someone can just send me whatever picture they want. Anyone. And so a nine-year-old knew how to do it and thought it'd be funny to send a bomb picture to everyone who was open? I guess so. What's a bomb picture? But everyone had to, not only did they...
Starting point is 00:55:57 It's like one of those round things with a fuse coming off and like Wiley Coyote. Yeah. Like some sort of... Yes. And so not only did the nine-year-old get taken away, but then they had to deplane everybody just to make sure that everything was legit and safe and good. And then, yeah, it was just a frustrating process because...
Starting point is 00:56:15 Wow. He ended up being late. What's the punishment for that? Not a lot. No, by your parents. A weapon, probably. Big time. And grounded.
Starting point is 00:56:26 But, I mean, no jail time. Like maybe the judge scares. Oh, yeah, take the phone away. Immediately. God, that guy. Yes. Yeah, yeah. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:56:33 I know. Let me go over to Michelle in Pittsburgh. Michelle, how are you? Good morning, Michelle. Good morning, Mommy. How are you? Pretty good. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:56:43 What can I help you with? Oh, not too much. I just had a question. I noticed that you used to tell callers all the time that you appreciated them at the end of the call. I noticed you stopped doing that. Now I just kind of say thanks for calling because what I used to do is I used to go, I appreciate you, and then I would hit this button and you'd hear this. You!
Starting point is 00:57:02 Yeah. And I guess I just got tired of it. I don't know why. I still tell them, thanks for calling. I can do it more. There's no reason. I think I just kind of forgot. Like, hey, I appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Are we bringing that back or no? Yeah, I think you should bring it back. All right. Easy for me. Man of the people. That's what we like you guys calling. Hey, Michelle, I appreciate you. I appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:57:27 I love the show. All right, thank you very much. Have a nice day. Okay. Thank you, too. email and you can now send us notes to our mailbag as well. So mailbag at bobbybones show.com. Mailbag.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Nope, nope. Mailbag at bobbybones.com. Thank you. Mailbag at bobbybones.com. Mike, we hand me those two emails? Do you have a second? So Michael just come and drop them on my desk and be like, here's some emails. Here's some emails.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Do you guys want to run through a couple of them? Yeah. All right. So we get these emails from folks all the time. And they're mostly about really personal situations in our life, and you don't have to put your name on them, right? So just know that when you send them, if your name is in the email header, we're not going to read your name. If you put it in the body of the email, we'll then say it, okay? So you don't have to worry about that.
Starting point is 00:58:18 We're not going to, you don't have to change. Do that make sense? Yeah. You can send it. You can still be anonymous. Here's the first one. Hey, Bobby, you have a situation where my husband's parents call me by his ex-wife's name constantly. I met my husband shortly after he divorced his ex-wife.
Starting point is 00:58:33 I understand a few slip-ups are okay. But even years down the road, they still accidentally call me by my ex's name. It is even stretched as far as calling me the wrong name in a toast. What? I don't know how to address this without sounding highly annoyed. How would you approach the situation? Amy, your thoughts? I mean, I just think, oh, I know that slip-ups happen.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Like, my mom used to call me Christy all the time. That's my sister's name. My kids, I'll say Stevens and her stuff she are all the time. Like, I mix it up and I don't know why. And that was one thing that was so annoyed me about my mom. And then now I find myself doing it. And I don't mean any harm by it. But I would just, if it really is something that's bothering you and it's gone on for years,
Starting point is 00:59:14 then I would just say that you ask them to really try to be aware of what they're saying. Like really just think about it because it's starting to hurt your feelings a little bit. Yeah. General rule, if something bothers you, you got to say something about it. Yeah, or they're not going to know. Well, they probably know. If they keep doing it, they probably know. If it's been years, they probably know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:35 So you got to go to them and say, hey, listen, I don't know if you mean to or not, but could you please stop calling me Nancy's name? It's insulting. All right, let's do one more. This is an email to the mailbag. Remember, send them to mailbag at bobbybones.com. Hey, Bobby and the mailbag. I have a co-worker in our building who never washes his hands after using the bathroom. Bobby is a fellow germaphobe. I'm sure you would agree that it's this. disgusting. What do you think? Any advice? I'll lead on this one. There's nothing you can do. It's not, you're not the bathroom police. Just don't touch him. Like lunchbox doesn't wash his hands?
Starting point is 01:00:08 I don't touch him. Correct. He's out sick right now. Probably because he's going to washing his hands. Is that a male or female that wrote that? Female. Interesting. Why? Just wondering. She signed her name. It's Adrienne. Like, is that dirty? To what? For a female? Oh, no. Adrian wrote the note. I don't know. I don't know who the person in the bathroom is. Amy your thoughts? There's just nothing you can say to them. Maybe you, maybe you, you do this because you can't say anything, but you can take the two fingers and point them to your eyes and then point them to their eyes. I see you. When they walk out of the bathroom, don't say anything.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Just I, I, I, I guess, I guess you can't, but maybe sometimes, maybe casually you carry some hand sanitizer with you and you're like, oh, got my hand sanitizer. You put a little in your hand and you say, you want some. Oh, you just follow them every time they go to the bathroom. And then stick out their hand and then you give them a little squirt. All right, there you go. That's the mailbag. Ramundo, will you mailbag us out, please? Thank you very much, everybody. And that's And that was Bobby's mailbag. The Bobbishop. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 01:01:07 So can a knife emoji double as a threat to kill someone? I've been seeing on the news where judges are now having to interpret emojis in court cases because of this question. Or does a heart emoji from a manager, is that the same thing as sexual harassment? Wow. Yeah. So yes, emojis are. increasingly coming up in court cases and judges are struggling with how to interpret them. So, you know, I mean, not always be careful about what you text, but like, which emoji do you use?
Starting point is 01:01:39 Because even like winky face emoji could be. Well, sometimes, Amy in the middle of the night, I'll send you winky face and the eggplant. But that just means, hey, I'm going to tell a joke tomorrow about vegetables. Yeah. But winky place eggplant. Winky could also mean something else. Misinterpreted. In court, I probably go get in trouble.
Starting point is 01:01:57 Yeah. Judges just aren't prepared for this sometimes, especially in the increase of it lately. And like, especially judges that are older and just not familiar with a lot of the newer vernacular, if you will, so they're a little perplexed. Yeah, that's wild. And I am familiar and I would still have trouble going. Yep, guilty. Yeah. Maybe that's how you get rid of the crimes now.
Starting point is 01:02:17 Emojis. Ride all in emojis. That's a good story. What else you got, Aem? So a remorseful thief who stole a bottle of ketchup from this New Jersey restaurant went back. and gave them two bottles of ketchup, along with a letter saying that, you know, they had this string of bad luck after they stole the ketchup and they felt like it was the bad karma chasing them. So they needed to return ketchup, like new bottles.
Starting point is 01:02:41 Here you go, because I want the bad luck to end. Yeah, I heard that had a car wreck. Yeah, it was like all kinds of things. Yeah, they had a car wreck. And that was the tipping point for him to go, okay, this is all because I stole the ketchup. But the person that stole it to you said, I'm as square as they come. And this is the worst thing I've ever done. And now I don't ever want to do anything bad again.
Starting point is 01:02:57 They feel pretty bad. You guys are a believer in karma? Oh, yeah. Big time. I know. Oh, no. Me neither, really. Really?
Starting point is 01:03:03 Yeah. I believe that. I mean, the energy you put out, I feel like if you're negative all the time, like you're going to, negativity breeds negativity. It's going to come back and bite you. But, I mean, I don't think like because they stole.
Starting point is 01:03:14 I don't think there's like a monster out there that's watching you going, one point for Bobby. I'd be sure to get him back with some good karma. I believe if you're doing enough good things, it affects people in a positive way that you'll get some positivity back at some point. I just are not believing that there's a karma spirit out there. watching and giving you a score, like a tally. A little bittling.
Starting point is 01:03:30 I just don't mess with that stuff. I don't either. Listen. Don't flirt with karma. I'm not flirting with karma. Bad karma. I'll live my life my way. But I'm just not a believer in that.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Amy, what else? Shout out to the 35 doctors that successfully separated these three-year-old twin girls who were conjoined at the head. It was dubbed Operation Freedom because it was a cooperative effort between doctors from a couple of different countries and I just thought it was so cool that they did it and the girls are doing great. I saw that. Pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:04:03 A 30-hour procedure. It's still amazing to me what doctors are capable of doing. Does the doctor go and take a nap and then come back? Well, there was 35 doctors involved so I think they rotate. But all of them, like I'm saying, does Dr. One, who obviously is the best is why they put him up first.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Oh, wow. Does he end up coming back at the end? And if he does, he has to go get a little rest. I'm trying to think of what I've seen on Gray's Anatomy. They do try to be realistic. Yeah, they do. I love that story. There you go.
Starting point is 01:04:30 That's Amy's Powell. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A six-year-old boy wears a special shirt to fight bullying. One young kid in Georgia is making a fashion statement for the first day of school this year, rocking a bright orange t-shirt with the text, I will be your friend. Love it.
Starting point is 01:04:54 To battle school bullying. Oh, come on. It's awesome. Nikki Rajan of Fayetteville is a mother of four who also runs her own custom clothing business. She asked her six-year-old son Blake, what kind of shirt he wanted? She's like, I can make whatever shirt you want. And he's like, well, you make me a shirt this is I will be your friend for all the kids who need a friend to know that I'm here for them. In the day since, the mom's Facebook post, which features a very happy Blake in his neon t-shirt with green writing has gone viral with thousands of of likes, thousands of shares, and thousands of comments.
Starting point is 01:05:30 Isn't that cool? Love it. Good job, kid. You're looking at you, kid. Famous movie quote, huh? What's that from? Like one of those old movies, too? Yeah, Humphrey Bogart.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Like Cassie Blanca. Okay. Lauren McCall. One of those old ones. You say Cassie Blanca? Cassie Blanca. Casci Blanca. There you go.
Starting point is 01:05:47 That's what it's all about. Thank you. That was Tell Me Something Good. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon. Starting point is 01:08:39 Let's go Transmitting across America This is the Bobby Bones show That's right Knocked me Thanks for hanging out with us We appreciate you so much Let's go over to Amy
Starting point is 01:08:51 And get the morning corny in The Morning Corny in The Morning Corny. Amazon finally sent me that book I ordered about wristwatches. Oh, yeah? Yeah. It's about time. Oh, Eddie chuckled at that.
Starting point is 01:09:07 I like that one. All right. It's about time. Got it. There it is. Thank you. That was the morning corny. Amy, how was your day yesterday?
Starting point is 01:09:19 I mean, it was pretty amazing. Wow, amazing. It was. What happened? What happened? I just had a really good day. I feel like we just had, I got a lot done. I felt really accomplished.
Starting point is 01:09:29 I felt good going to bed, being like, you know what? Killed my list today, which normally doesn't happen. My to do list. What was on the list? Normally there's something left. Well, I had a couple meetings. I had a podcast to record. I had a not so fun meeting.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Wait, what's that? It's a long story. Doctor or firing? No, it was a meeting and it was up here and it was awkward, but it wasn't, it's fine. It's fine. You don't want to see. But I was up here until probably like, I don't know, after 2 o'clock, my husband was up here. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:09:59 Yeah. Anyway, enough about my day. My day is not nearly as amazing as yours. Yeah, I had an okay day yesterday. You had more than okay. The CMA Fest ratings came out and it was fantastic. They won. The show won, which I was pretty pumped about.
Starting point is 01:10:15 You just don't want to be the one that sinks the ship. They bring me on the first year. Oh, yeah. And then it's like, you know what, Bobby, we had the worst. It wasn't. It was good. And not only that, the show is blacked out in 30 markets, 30 massive markets, because it's direct TV. Including here.
Starting point is 01:10:29 Yeah, and it's still one. So I was pretty happy with that. And then yesterday finally got to do the American Idol announcement where I'm officially going back to American Idol. So, yeah, that's kind of a big deal. It is a big deal. It is a huge deal. I didn't see it until last night because I wasn't on social media and I hadn't talked to you and I hadn't talked to anybody. And then I saw it and I texted you last night.
Starting point is 01:10:52 I was like, this is huge. That text you back? You just gave me like the, you know, where you can double tap. No. You double tap and give a thumbs up. Oh, yeah, that's okay. I almost thumbs up emojied you back. Like, cool.
Starting point is 01:11:06 Cool. I was like, I was so excited for you. I was like, congrats. And you're like, double tap. No, I've changed my feelings on that double tap emoji. That's good. Yeah, I used to go, it's pretty passive aggressive. I don't think so anymore.
Starting point is 01:11:18 What I need. Well, I'm glad you clarified that because all I had heard. you say last was that you thought it was passive aggressive. On the iPhone, if someone says a message, you can double tap it, and it gives you an option of like five little emojis you can hit. And it's thumbs up, thumbs down, exclamation points, ha ha, or heart. I rarely hit that heart. If I hit that heart, that means it was a lot of love for whatever you just said.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Like it makes me feel good. The thumbs up's like, hey, thanks. Yeah. But yeah, so I'm going back to American Idol. It will actually be back in the spring of 2020. I start shooting in like four weeks. Wow. Because we go and do the auditions, those start in cities.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Which, by the way, I would encourage you if you want to be a famous singer, go check out the auditions. We're going to be all over America. So, yeah, do that. Pretty good. Pretty good day yesterday. I've known for a couple, a few weeks, I think, officially. I didn't know for a while they're bringing me back. Because they were like, we got to reevaluate.
Starting point is 01:12:10 The judges didn't know if they were coming back, and then all at once. You know, I kind of wish selfishly they'd have held me off. Either let me go before the judges or after the judges. They just kind of went, here's, guess who's coming back. Luke, Brian, Katie, Perry, Lionel Richie, and Bobby Bones. And so I get left off because I'm not near as famous as they are. Oh, yeah. Do it separate. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:27 So, but it's fantastic. So, yeah, appreciate that. I'm just curious about this weird meeting you had. I don't even care about me. You didn't even mention Amy and I sat and talk for like 20 minutes before the show. Because I hadn't thought about it. We weren't talking about exactly what I did yesterday. But I did, I had Walker and Lainey Hayes too and did a whole podcast with them.
Starting point is 01:12:46 And we recorded for probably like an hour and a half. and I don't want to cut any of it because it was so amazing. You can do that. I mean, I'm not going to. It's just going to, it is what it's going to be. It is what it is. It's going to be a long one. We did our movie draft yesterday, all quotes.
Starting point is 01:13:01 We went around the room. In last place was Ray Mundo. He jumped in to fill in for lunchbox with 6% of votes. Oh. It was Ray Mundo. Oh, that's bad. Yeah, that's real bad. I thought I'd fare a little bit better than that.
Starting point is 01:13:16 Sorry, everybody. Yeah, a cable guy won, man. Ray Mundo our audio guy picked the longest quote ever from Wedding Crashers Yeah Basically it was the whole script It was seen two It was such a funny one though
Starting point is 01:13:28 Billy Madison A random quote Stop looking at me swan And then cable guy Oh he did cable guy right Oh Billy I don't know Eddie He didn't do that one So Ray Mundoendo last place
Starting point is 01:13:40 All right Mark this out In fourth place out of five was producer Eddie No. Yeah. Really? I am your father?
Starting point is 01:13:51 Yeah, that and get busy living. And get busy to die. And Kevin! I thought yours was pretty solid to come in fourth place. Oh, thanks, Mom. That's weird. In third place and was texting me talking garbage last night was Morgan number two. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Interesting. Sweet home Alabama. How would you want to marry me anyhow? I don't know what that means. Anchorman. Boy, that escalated quickly. And the Lion King. the past can hurt.
Starting point is 01:14:18 You can run from it. I don't know. You're still hating on my fix. And I didn't win. I'm reading what's on my paper morgue number two. You didn't win? I finished third. So it's down to you and me?
Starting point is 01:14:27 It is. You don't know who won, Amy? No, I don't. It was very close. It was? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And with 27% of the vote,
Starting point is 01:14:36 Amy finished second. Oh, so close. Amy had a pretty woman. Big mistake. Gone with the win. Frankly, my dear. And Rocky Ford, if he dies, he dies. It's close.
Starting point is 01:14:46 I was able to get my first victory in the challenge. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Congrats, man. I'm not even clapping. Thank you for your support, everyone. Feels good, right? Yeah, just to get on the board.
Starting point is 01:14:56 I know. Enjoy it. Mine's life is like a box of chocolate. It's a good one. I'm the king of the world. And then, girls only want boys who have great skills. From Napoleon Dynne. Yeah, yours were good.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Thank you. So I won, which makes the total. Morgan number two has three wins. Eddie one, Amy one, me won. So we're all there. Lunchbox is not on the board yet. I did get a text from him last night, though, and he said,
Starting point is 01:15:17 Ray Moon will mess my first pick up that. Ray Moon don't mess up first pick, second pick, third pick. So, but that was good.
Starting point is 01:15:24 We're going to do another draft tomorrow. Mike D., can you tell us what our draft will be tomorrow? We're doing songs from the 90s. Oh.
Starting point is 01:15:33 There you go. That's a lot of songs. Yeah. Songs from the 90s and the first pick will be producer Eddie tomorrow. Yeah. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 01:15:40 This is big. Wow, this is going to be so hard. It can be any songs from the 90s. That's just, That's just it. No rule. So tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:15:50 Songs from the 90s. So many great ones. Netflix has created a co-watching contract for couples. So Netflix laid down some rules if you're to co-watch a show. Like if you agree, hey, we're going to watch this together. Right. Do you have any shows you and your husband watch together? Well, when we're, yes, it just depends on what's in season, but we've done this before.
Starting point is 01:16:12 I mean, we're not in one right now because I'm doing big little lies and he wants nothing to do with that. And I'm like, why? I think he'd like it. Well, if you didn't watch season one, though, it's kind of hard for him to get into season two. Well, he should catch up. But, like, it's tough. He doesn't really deploy anymore when he used to go to Afghanistan for like two months.
Starting point is 01:16:27 It was really hard for me to wait for him on stuff, you know. So sometimes I would just watch it. Yeah, I mean, like, why wait for a hero? For America's hero? Fighting for our country. Totally. He's over keeping our freedom intact. But I'm not going to wait for my big little lies.
Starting point is 01:16:38 I know. I'm a horrible wife because I would watch it, but you know what? Then I would just watch it again and act like, They're like, what? I didn't know that was going to happen. There are five rules in this contract. You would have to sign. What are they?
Starting point is 01:16:50 Number one is, I won't fall asleep. If you're watching it together, I won't fall asleep. That means because he falls asleep, you miss it, and you've got to go back and watch it again. Oh, true. Number two, I won't get distracted by my phone, causing the other person to rewind because I miss something. Okay. You guilty of that? He falls asleep.
Starting point is 01:17:09 I get on my phone. I won't continue watching a show without the other person present. Guilty. I won't talk while the show was on. Guilty? Can't talk? In the event that I come across a spoiler. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:22 It's, I would say you can talk, but you can't have a conversation. Like, that has nothing to do with the show. Okay. And finally, I won't share it with the other person. Oh, if I come across a spoiler, I won't share with the person. That's what it is. Okay. So.
Starting point is 01:17:38 This contract was made to be broken. No, it's not. I mean, contracts aren't made to be broken. That's the dumbest rule. Agreements and contracts are never made to be broken. Me and my wife would never get past any of those. You should never sign it. Yeah, we just shouldn't sign it.
Starting point is 01:17:52 My point, yeah, agreements are never made to be broken. Bad agreements are made. But Eddie, the contract is to, if you're doing that, then what you do is you read the rules. You both decide to sign it and see if you can uphold it. And there should be penalties if you don't. Like what? Well, I'm saying you should create your own.
Starting point is 01:18:13 Like if I don't fulfill my content. contract here, if I, you know, skirt out and do something I'm not supposed to, there's a penalty that I have to suffer. I have to suffer the consequences. So there you go. That's the Netflix contract. A fake ride share driver stole more than $24,000 cash from people's bank accounts by having them swipe a credit card to pay him and then draining their bank accounts. What? So this dude had been in trouble for a lot of identity theft and credit card scams. He was driving downtown, masquerading as a ride-chair driver, and at least four people, when they got a ride,
Starting point is 01:18:50 he was like, hey, go ahead and swipe it into my little machine here. Most people didn't, but all it takes is one or two and you're in. Yeah. It's like those robocalls I get. If I had as many friends as I get from those fake calls, I'd be such, I have such a good life. I have four or five calls a day from these people. And it's always numbers that kind of resemble mine. And yesterday, because I've been trying to text my phone number neighbor. Yeah. And what that is, your number neighbor is the person's like one up from you or one down. And so I text them, they never text it back.
Starting point is 01:19:20 So like the last digit, the last number goes up or down one. For example, my number is 512. Yeah, yeah, right, right, right. And so I got a random message yesterday from a number that had nothing to do with mine. And they go, hey, you're my number neighbor. I wasn't the number neighbor. Oh. It was an 805 number.
Starting point is 01:19:37 Mike, we see what 805 is. And I said, no, I'm not. but you replied I know and they said they said both my neighbor numbers were lame and didn't respond so I took someone else's neighbor number
Starting point is 01:19:50 now I don't know if someone happens to know what's this is my cell phone number that's weird yeah or if I randomly got this I think that's somebody messing with you think I have MC Hammer here on the board with me I ask him for advice now emcehammer what do you think about this
Starting point is 01:20:05 oh he thinks that I should not have answered because it's probably a listener who got my number Thank you, MC Hammer. You can see this. If you watch the show live, you'll see the big MC Hammer on my desk. It does look like his arms are up. It looks like he's talking to you. Like, Bobby.
Starting point is 01:20:21 Does he sound like Morgan Freeman? I was almost like Hank Hill, too. Get busy living. Or get busy guys. I got a story I told Mike I was going to talk about today. I can't talk about it anymore, Mike, the girl situation. Your story? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:34 This is one you kind of teased this about yesterday? Oh. It phones. Oh. I can't now. I can't now. Maybe tomorrow. Fluid.
Starting point is 01:20:43 What happened? Well, I'm glad you at. No, no. You don't have to tell us what happened, but what, give us a hint of what changed. I asked you what awkward happened in a meeting yesterday. Oh, well, I guess now I won't tell you. Good one, Amy, good one. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Thanks. Let me go to Terry in Oklahoma, who is sitting, who has called the show. Hey, Terry, what's happening? Thanks for calling the Bobby Bone Show. I was not to, I just want to say you guys are great. I started listening to you guys a year ago. I got introduced to you guys from one of my brother I worked with
Starting point is 01:21:13 and you guys are awesome and Amy I loved the little big lives I'm so hooked on that show I'm a few end of the second season I just got jumped by superheroes oh yeah but you guys are awesome
Starting point is 01:21:26 and he makes me laugh and I love the morning 20s and yeah I just wanted to this first time I ever called in and actually got through shots I'm like oh my gosh well thank you very much
Starting point is 01:21:37 appreciate you you guys have a great day All right. See you later. All right, bye-bye. Here's that text. Hey, Bobby, watched Bill and Ted's excellent adventure last night with my kids. They were 12 and 9.
Starting point is 01:21:48 Besides a few comments about being old, they loved it. Most excellent. Thanks for the tip. Party on. Oh, and I'm supposed to watch that. Yeah, your kids will like it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:58 It's a history teacher. Yeah, okay. I have it on my list. I'll get that done. Okay. So, Jeff Bezos just got his delivery of a 400, million dollar mega yacht.
Starting point is 01:22:10 He's the Amazon guy. It's called a flying fox. And so, do you want to hear what's in this thing? Yeah. First of all, there's 11 VIP cabins with a private sundeck, a dining room for 22. There's a movie theater on this yacht. What? The yacht has a swimming pool, like those that train for the Olympics, two jacuzis, two helicopter pads, because one's not enough. You may have two chappas coming in.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Which makes it possible for him and his guests to fly in in separate helicopters. Right. Makes sense. It accommodates the largest helicopters on the market. This has 54 crew members that need to run the ship. Wow. You have to hire 54 people. I don't even know 54 people. It's true.
Starting point is 01:22:52 So, we did some math here. So Jeff Bezos makes $78.5 billion a year. Okay? So what I wanted to do is see how much this would cut into his yearly money. Meaning, the average American makes $56,000. $1,000 a year. And the same percentage would be if the average American bought a car for $11,000. Oh.
Starting point is 01:23:16 So the $400 million for this yacht is like someone buying an $11,000 car. It's not splurging. Right. For us, we're like, what? And he's like, well, no deal. I bought a four focus. Got a deal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:38 the luggage compartment of a bus as it traveled through Connecticut happened. She called police because she couldn't get out and she had the phone on her. And they pulled the bus over. Someone inside the bus shot video of the cops and the woman after she was rescued.
Starting point is 01:23:54 According to reports, she was locked inside by a bus employee. The woman said one of the bus drivers locked her inside while she was trying to receive something in her bag. So she goes in to get something. I got to kind of crawl back there. She's like, let me get on in here. And the bus is like, All aboard.
Starting point is 01:24:09 Everything's checked. All right, Jimmy, you're free to go. Lock it up. Oh, wow. And I bet it was hard for her to describe of it. She's like, come rescue me. I don't know. I mean, I guess she knows what direction she was going.
Starting point is 01:24:25 I'm on the bus. I miss the bus. Remember that crisscross song? No, he doesn't remember I missed the bus. That was like, you know, they had jump, jump, jump. Yeah, that's the one we all remember. Well, the second one was, I missed the bus. The other side of the tape?
Starting point is 01:24:40 Yeah, probably. Probably. I love that you guys call the show so much. We wouldn't be able to do this without you. We also know that you can be listening to any show in the world, but you're here with us, and we appreciate that. I want to go over to Emily in North Carolina, who is sitting there.
Starting point is 01:24:56 Emily, thank you for calling the show. What's happening? I was just wanting to know, first of all, I'm really freaking out because I'm talking to Bobby Ben. Well, Emily, how old are you? I just turned 11 yesterday. There she is. Happy birthday, kid.
Starting point is 01:25:16 Thank you. And what did you want to know? I was wanting to know what kind of dog you got. I have a bulldog, an English bulldog. I give you a little update on the bulldog. He's getting bigger. I think he's like 15 and a half pounds. One of my friends came over, and he was like, holy cow, he's growing so much.
Starting point is 01:25:34 I've seen him last. That's what puppies do. They grow. He is chewing still, but not as much. He's probably about 60% chew out of 100. Even, you came over to the house. I did. He only chewed a little bit.
Starting point is 01:25:46 Not as much as he did when you first got him, yeah. I'm trying to shake that chewing. I'm sending him off for a week coming up in a few weeks because I'm leaving town. And he's going to go and hopefully he's going to come back trained. Like for the money, I'm paying a training that he needs to do dishes. Give me massages when I wake up in the morning. He doesn't use the bathroom in the house. Only once when he was sick.
Starting point is 01:26:05 it's doing all right We're finally starting to hang out and have Human dog moments instead of just This dog will not Instead of that I had uh Did I talk about the dogs he played with on the air I said that
Starting point is 01:26:19 Yeah kind of annoyed them Yeah he's he's he's a puppy dominant One he's a thick dog anyway They just He's big shoulders are thick And he just jumps on dogs Even dogs bigger than him And they're like
Starting point is 01:26:31 I'm over this So But yeah it's going it's going all right People are like should get pet insurance. I don't have pet insurance. What? I'm not, I'm not going to get pet insurance. Oh, but even because you've heard Bulldogs go to the pet a lot? Bulldogs get sick. I was looking at pet insurance, and there are a lot of these weird clauses
Starting point is 01:26:46 in pet insurance, like, we'll cover it, except if this happens. And it's like, you know what, I'll just, I'll pay for it. I'll just go, I have my vet. I don't want there to be, well, we can't do it right now because of pet insurance, we've got to get clearance from the, just not trying to deal with that. So, um, you have any, you have any questions about the dog? I feel like, it's all on Instagram. People are like, Why don't you get him his own Instagram account? I'm like, well, because then I wouldn't get to likes. That would take away from your great content.
Starting point is 01:27:11 Yeah. I don't want him to have his own Instagram account. I'm not trying to sell him. So you want to see my dog come on over to Mr. Bobby Bones. What I say? Yeah, I think Emily, you have any questions about the dog? What's his name? His name is Stanley.
Starting point is 01:27:25 That's a good question. His name is Stanley, and I watch a TV show called The Office, and he kind of looked like Stanley from the office, and so I named him that. That's funny. Do you ever watch The Office? No The one show
Starting point is 01:27:40 Well There's one show And another movie That I really like Which is the movie is It The newest one You watch it And you're 11?
Starting point is 01:27:49 I don't even watch it Emily I'm scared I'll have nightmares One reason why I watch those two shows The other one is stranger things Is also because of Finn Wolf Fard And Oh the kid
Starting point is 01:28:03 My celebrity crush You have a celebrity crush Oh okay Yeah, and it's been well fired, so... That's interesting. Okay, that's fair. Around the room, who would be your celebrity crush? She brings up a good point.
Starting point is 01:28:15 You've got to pick one. Right now or when we were... No, now. And again, we've got some married people. You can say whatever you want. Yeah, I'm not worried about that. Do you have yours ready, Eddie? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:24 Eddie yours is? Gwyneth Paltrow. Okay. Morgan number two, who is your celebrity crush? Probably Ryan Reynolds. Amy, who is your celebrity crush? Patrick Dempsey? Is that McDreamy?
Starting point is 01:28:38 Yeah. Okay. Is it McDreamy or McSteamy? McStymy? They both sound like sandwiches and McDonald's you get in the morning. McAruy. Can I get two McDreamies, a nugget? Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:28:51 It's a tough question. I don't think about it. Because, I mean, we were going actors, right? Not like... You can be anything you want. Oh, so George Strait? Sure. But celebrity crush doesn't like, if it presented and you were single and they were single, you'd smooch.
Starting point is 01:29:03 You're still staying with George Strait, Amy, right? Yeah. Whatever, Morgan number two, like Sylvester Stallone. No need to deflect and put it on to her. Just answer and be dominant. Be like, confident. They're probably the same age. Yes.
Starting point is 01:29:18 Yeah. Man, George looks good for his age, though. Have you seen George? I have. Yeah, he just looks like a good, like an older guy. He's probably in his 60s, though. Yeah, he is. What's yours, Bones?
Starting point is 01:29:31 You just try to move on without doing it, huh? No, we know. Kate Beckins up? Oh, Sharnat? I don't think so anymore. No, not sure. Oh, yeah, you've moved on. So who is it?
Starting point is 01:29:40 Yeah, I think so. I don't think of Kate Beck. I don't really have, like, one that I go, this is it. But if I had to pick someone that I'm like, oh, I got to. This is one you could honestly have a chance with it. Well. Eddie, calm down. But I mean, yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:58 But it could be someone that's married, too. Well, I wouldn't pick someone that's married. I don't think. Okay. I have no idea of, well, George Smith's married. I have no idea of Patrick Dempsey's married. Is he? Maybe like a Lauren Daigle.
Starting point is 01:30:07 Oh, wow. She's cute and she seems nice. I approve. Well, you went straight like that could really happen maybe. Yeah. I don't know if that could happen or not. We went like McDreamy. Lauren Daigle.
Starting point is 01:30:21 She's, yeah. Hit her up. She's very, very pretty. I don't think that. I don't like sliding in like that. No. Isn't she doing a Bobbycast? Is that who you went to?
Starting point is 01:30:35 brunch with? Excuse me? Is that how you went to brunch with? No. Ew, the weird way you said, excuse me? I didn't know what he said. No, that was your way of being like, crap, am I busted? No, it wasn't. I swear to you, it wasn't. Let me see if she even follows me on Instagram, because I don't know. Yeah, she follows me on Instagram. She does? That's cool. But I don't ever, like, I don't really don't respond to stories. I don't want to be that guy.
Starting point is 01:30:58 I did respond to Alabama Hannah's story the other day, though. And I don't even think she didn't respond back. But I made a... busy right now. Yeah, if you do respond, what do? you say? Like, that's funny. Like, what do you do? Well, it's not that funny, but she did a post about, she had been trying for five minutes, bumpy car rides. She was trying to take a picture. And
Starting point is 01:31:17 it was rough for me to watch because I get so car sick. Even watching that, if someone's bumping around, I'm like, boom. I say, rough to watch. Oh, what? That's not flirting. I'm about to finish my statement. It's not super flirty. I'm not trying to flirt. All right. Oh, well, I'm being vulnerable here. I'm not doing it. No, no, no, no. Sorry. I'm just saying. That's it. No, Bobby, this is safe. Just say it.
Starting point is 01:31:37 No, it's not. I apologize. No. You said rough ride. Doesn't matter. Then what? Rough ride, you're hot. Let this be a lesson.
Starting point is 01:31:46 I'll show you a rough ride. Got him. The 11-year-old stone at home. That's a second mean tons of things. Yeah, like a horse. Yeah. Okay. Melissa.
Starting point is 01:31:56 Emily? Yeah. I mean. I didn't say anything. Emily, thank you for listening to the show. Thank you for calling. and I hope you got what you were looking for. Emily, you should ask Bobby one more question.
Starting point is 01:32:14 You there? Yeah. Okay, ask him to finish the Hannah text, the DM from Hannah. No, I texted her. Whatever. If you had to pick your all-time favorite movie, what would it be? There we go, and I'll end on this question. My all-time favorite movie, I love...
Starting point is 01:32:34 What am my favorite movie? movie you think. Depends on what era. Yeah. I like Eternal Sunshine. Oh, no, no. Oh, Office Space. Man on the Moon. Oh, man on the moon with Jim Carrey about Andy Kaufman. Probably my favorite movie. All right, Emily, thank you.
Starting point is 01:32:50 Thank you. Bye-bye. I would have answered it, Amy. She asked me that. I know. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 01:35:44 All right, lunchbox is out sick, so Eddie will be giving us the good news. Eddie, what's up, boy? A man from Oregon accidentally tossed his life savings into a recycling bin. Now, he realized he made the mistake after the recycling bin had been emptied into a truck heading to the sorting facility. The GM says most of the recyclables from the truck, had already been sorted by the time the man contacted them, but workers were asked to be on the lookout for a shoe box containing $23,000. Cash.
Starting point is 01:36:13 That's his life savings. Yeah. But in cash, untraceable cash. In cash. Thankfully, the cash managed to stay inside the box during its 200-mile journey to the facility. 200 miles. So they found the money, all of it except for 320 bucks. But he gets it back. Isn't that crazy, though?
Starting point is 01:36:32 That's crazy. Like, what's the 320 bucks? interest? Well, I don't know if it's interest. Like, I wonder where that 320 went. Probably somebody knew what the money was. I was like, if I just take a little, it won't get noticed. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:44 This is probably what it is. But sometimes it'll be like a piece of cake and I'll be like, I don't eat the whole cake. I just take a little piece of it. No, you just get a knife and cut it perfectly and no one will know you took a bite. Yeah, yeah. It's a good story, though.
Starting point is 01:36:55 Yeah, yeah, that's good. He got all his money back. That's the good. That's what it's all about. Thank you. That was tell me something good. All right, here you go. This is Chris Cross here.
Starting point is 01:37:06 We're talking about earlier. Turn it up. Hey, turn it up. You never heard this? I don't think so. I may have to give Morgan number to a criss cross lesson here to say again. She's only 25. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:37:22 They were two kid rappers. And you remember jump? The MacDada make you jump, jump, jump. A daddy Mac can make you jump, jump, jump. Chris Cross will make you. Jump, jump. Uh-huh, uh-huh. Remember that?
Starting point is 01:37:39 Yeah, I know that song. Two friends, kid rappers. This was their second song. And they wore their clothes backwards. Yep. Yeah. Because they were criss-crossed. They did it backward.
Starting point is 01:37:47 Not just clothes, overalls. Yeah. Well, whatever, yeah. Yeah. Turn it up, right in my window. I don't know what to do. I missed the bus. Did one of them die?
Starting point is 01:38:01 Yeah. Oh. Yeah, Chris Kelly. He died a drug overdose in like the 90s. Oh, man. No, he was from the 90s. He died of the drug overdose in like 2014. Ooh.
Starting point is 01:38:10 Yeah, in his 30s. Did you ever miss the bus? What? Bobby is always on time. Bobby's at the bus stop waiting. What do I do every day? They're early. I didn't know if that was always.
Starting point is 01:38:22 I mean, when you were a kid, you could have missed the bus. I mean, I miss the bus all the time, and my mom would get so mad. Discipline adults grow from disciplined children. My bus driver would wait for me and honk the horn. Oh, that's so nice. And I would go out in my towel and be like, hold on five more minutes, and she would wait. Mine would leave. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:40 And my mom would sling. I am the dishwasher and yell at me. Like, I have a very vivid memory of one time missing the bus. Sometimes I just would walk to school or ride the bike. I couldn't do that. Have you missed the bus? It just, period. I was just going to ride my bike to school today.
Starting point is 01:38:56 Okay, that's crisscross. Morgan number two, consider yourself lessened up today. Thank you. From oldies. I'm crazy. That's oldies. What year were you born? 93.
Starting point is 01:39:05 So that's about that time when they were big, like 92, 93, 94. So that would be like someone coming to me and going, all right, I'm going, I'm going to teach you about REO Speedwagon. From the 80s. I'm like, but that's old. I don't care to hear about that. That's crazy. A new survey came out about who people trust, meaning what types of people. And I'll give you some of the people on the list.
Starting point is 01:39:30 Can you tell me most trustworthy to least trustworthy to what people feel, okay? Not your own personal judgment, but what you think America thinks. I'll just give you four of them, rank them. elected officials, the news media, scientists, and religious leaders. So who do you think is first? The survey finds public confidence. Okay. Who is the most trusted of?
Starting point is 01:39:59 Again, you can pick number one here. Is it the news media, religious leaders, elected officials, or scientists? Okay. Who is the most trusted? Go ahead? Religious leaders. Incorrect. Okay.
Starting point is 01:40:12 Nice. Go again. Scientists. Correct. 86% of people trust scientists. Okay. Number one. Number two.
Starting point is 01:40:20 And number two. Religious leaders. Correct. 57% of people trust religious leaders. Now, we're down to the bottom too. Yeah, I know. This one's going to get tricky. News media or elected officials.
Starting point is 01:40:31 Which one comes in third and fourth? You can do both. Who? I think in third is elected officials and and fourth is news media. Incorrect. Oh, man, I just not do that great. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:44 News media third, elected officials, fourth. Don't trust elected officials. Hey, everybody, don't trust them. Yeah. Don't trust them. Generally, don't trust them. Scientists, religious leaders, news media, elected officials.
Starting point is 01:40:58 Boy, elected officials is low. 35% of people trust elected officials. Yeah. I don't trust them. Any of them. They're just trying to get reelected. They'll say whatever it takes to get reelected. My husband and I were just having this conversation, though,
Starting point is 01:41:08 Because the news is so hard to watch too, because it's like just one-sided. It's entertainment that is targeted at their specific viewing. Like, I agree with you. And I like certain people and I like certain news shows. It's nothing to do with the people. But it's like sometimes how it's being presented and delivered. Like, I don't know because I can literally watch one channel and go to the next. And I feel like I'm getting totally different stories depending on what I watch that day.
Starting point is 01:41:35 What information am I being fed? Yeah. But as long as you know that, then you're all right. I know, but it's frustrating. I would rather just turn on the news and it be like, legit, fair and balanced. Not a thing. I know.
Starting point is 01:41:47 Fair imbalance toward the people that are watching. That they want it to seem like it's fair and balance. Therefore, they trust them. It's fair imbalance to them. Right. Yeah. There are two networks I just can't watch it all. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:01 And there's one that even I watch with one eye open. I'm like, hmm. You just have to know. and it's like people that you follow on social media you're basically in an echo chamber you're only seeing things you want to see anyway like on Twitter you're only following people that have basically the same opinion
Starting point is 01:42:14 you don't follow people that are different than you not really you know yeah so there's that I want to go over to Morgan number two she's 25 years old and sometimes she brings this segment she goes this is what 25 year olds care about over to her now here we go
Starting point is 01:42:27 what your 25 year olds care about there's a new virtual dating service called Vita Select and there's basically going to flirt and find matches for you. And then all you have to do is go on the date. Oh. Wait, is it like a computer I'm dating? Like her or Alexa?
Starting point is 01:42:43 So it's some consultants, a stylist, a photographer, and they basically create the best version of you. And then you have a ghost writer who goes through all the matches and writes for you and does it with the algorithm. So you get all the matches. And then they send you all their ghost writing when the date's set up so you can memorize your message. and go on the date.
Starting point is 01:43:07 You cram on yourself? Wow. Or you cram on... Yeah, like, what's my personality? And am I communicating with someone else's ghostwriter? Is my ghostwriter or someone else's ghostwriter talking with each other? You're right. Because if they're on the app, yes.
Starting point is 01:43:18 And how do you get on this app? I'm just for a friend. I'm just asking for a friend. Well, there's like different packages all ranging from like $700 to $300. Oh, you got to pay for it. Yeah. $1,300? They basically create this whole version of you, as they say it, the best version of yourself.
Starting point is 01:43:35 Pull it out. and set it up for you. This is not for me. Because a lot of this stuff I do. Write. I write my own. Maybe I shouldn't write my own, though. Well, maybe you should read us
Starting point is 01:43:47 the rest of that Banana Hannah message. Banana Hannah? No, never mind. Alabama Hannah. Bobby bone, come on. I want to take a call from Crystal in San Antonio. Crystal, thank you for calling the Bobby Bone show. What's happening?
Starting point is 01:44:03 I was just calling to say that I only listen to the radio in the morning to listen to y'all. My driving time is usually my quiet time. And my son Jackson asked for lunchbox all the time. And although sometimes I don't agree with lunchbox, I have to support him because he's from San Antonio. Well, we will tell him he's sick today, but we will tell him he should be back tomorrow. And Amy, I always back you up and I argue for you, even though the guys can't hear me. Oh, thank you. appreciate the support.
Starting point is 01:44:34 I guess I'm just chopped liver or what? Don't fight for me? No, I like you too, Bobby. I listen to all your... I have actually eight kids. You have eight kids? Yeah, so I use your advice in many different ways, like different things that you've gone through and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:44:51 And four of my kids are adopted. And I adopted them about 14 years ago, and I always tell them, like, it's all what you make out of everything. and I share different stories and I will be downloading that songs from Chris Cross I miss the bus
Starting point is 01:45:08 because I have one son that always misses the bus That's funny Hey well thank you I'm calling him to play that I was just giving you a hard time But I appreciate you calling All right thank you see you
Starting point is 01:45:20 See you later There's Crystal on San Antonio Which by the way if you're in San Antonio Eddie and I will be there Friday night Yeah we are doing our music and comedy show The Raging Idiots If you want to come Raging Idiots.com
Starting point is 01:45:30 Turn that up. I'm feeling that. I'll read you some texts. I just wanted to say and send some love to you guys, it's Tuesday. H-O-A-Duesday. Yeah. Housewives going boo's day. Yesterday on the post show pre-show, I brought out an old song that we'd written years ago
Starting point is 01:45:51 about Tuesday. And I never really thought much about it. And so you can hear us kind of perform it-ish. But it's a song called Tuesday because it's the day of the week that doesn't get any respect. And so the whole thing goes, it's Tuesday HOA
Starting point is 01:46:04 do's day housewife's going booze day eat some cashew's day I'm just talking about Tuesday that's the whole song you can hear it on the pre-show if Morgan number two and Bobby get on the app
Starting point is 01:46:14 they will be matches Morgan number two your thoughts all right here's another one you say don't trust elected officials you're wanting to run for public office
Starting point is 01:46:26 that statement may haunt you no it does I don't think you should trust me until I approve myself I don't think you trust anybody until you prove it I don't trust anybody until they prove to me they can be trusted. And so I put myself in the same boat for any reason whatsoever.
Starting point is 01:46:38 Don't trust me until I can prove that you can trust me. There you go. There's a lot. A lot of people commenting about your son. And how if you hire someone to be Alexa, that just not good for his overall growth as a kid. Okay. It's just advice, Amy. So people don't ever have fictional characters come to their kid's birthday party.
Starting point is 01:47:01 One just says that Spider-Man came to a birthday party. But I don't think people really think that's Spider-Man, do they? Do kids? I don't know. Did nine-year-olds still think that's it? I don't think so. Okay. Again, y'all, he didn't get this kind of childhood when he was younger.
Starting point is 01:47:17 So he's not really nine. This is fun for him, you know? Maybe Amy should hire a white male as Alexa and use this as an opportunity to teach him about catfishing. That's a funny one. I have a whole screen over here. People text to me. I got a little catty with somebody, but sometimes I'll just reply.
Starting point is 01:47:40 Because somebody doesn't mean message for no reason, thinking I won't get it, and I'll just reply. Okay, well, a lot of people. Let me do one more. Hey, Bobby and Amy, tell your son that Alexa is a computer. Amy, keep your daughter and dance. That's pretty much it. Okay. There you go.
Starting point is 01:47:58 Done. All right, done. What if we lived our life? by text advice. You don't? I take this screen home with me and just look at it all. I'm like, all right.
Starting point is 01:48:09 Jimmy and Sacramento thinks I should eat more broccoli. All right, I'm going to know with this segment. You can call us if you want. 87777, Bobby. 877, 77 Bobby.
Starting point is 01:48:22 We'd love to hear from you guys. One other one. Bobby, don't listen to the guys. Make sure you get Alexa for the birthday party. It's not any different than princesses or superheroes. And like you said, He's younger than his other ages.
Starting point is 01:48:33 I think they mean this toward you. Okay. But Amy should be encouraging his behavior at the correct developmental age. He might have a developmental level of four or so. See? All you did is ask. I thought it was fine. I said, I would like for it to happen.
Starting point is 01:48:47 Yeah. Amy's looking to pay somebody $100 to come and be a Lexa, at her son's birthday party on Saturday. And you can have cake and stuff too. We'll throw that in. Friday. Friday or Saturday's a birthday party? Friday.
Starting point is 01:48:58 Saturday. Yes. Does he know his birthday Saturday? Is he going to want two birthdays? He just knows his birthday. I mean, he tells anybody and everybody. Like someone at church on Sunday was like, how are you doing? He's like, it's my birthday soon.
Starting point is 01:49:10 Like, he just knows that it's coming. I think he knows on Saturday. I mean, we'll celebrate it both. Friends and family on Friday night, Saturday morning, wake up and be like, woo, maybe pancakes or something. It's your real birthday. But then we had to do the party Friday night because raging idiots are Saturday. That's true.
Starting point is 01:49:26 Priorities. In Austin. Is Stanley going to the San Antonio show? That's my dog. no, my dog is not traveling with me this weekend because I'm leaving a day early and I'll be there for like four days and I can't watch him the whole time.
Starting point is 01:49:35 So we'll not have the dog this weekend. He's going to stay home. All right, thank you all. Jump on on the show if you want. 877, 77 Bobby. Wow, I just checked my email because I was real curious about Alexa emails and I have tons coming in.
Starting point is 01:49:48 People wanting the hundred bucks to be Alexa. Yeah, they're even attaching photos of themselves. They just want to go to the party, right? Oh, that's true. I mean, close to Amy. It's a Bobby Bones show. This guy named Terry was supposed to go into the hospital and get a bladder procedure. They call it bladder Botox.
Starting point is 01:50:05 So he checks in. He's like, all right, they're going to send him back. It turns out they circumcised him by mistake. Oh, no. That is not bladder Botox. That is a whole other thing. He has now been awarded over $24,000 in compensation. You've got to pay more than that, right?
Starting point is 01:50:21 I would think, yeah. He said, I went to the surgery for some Botox, and they circumcised me. They didn't know what to say when they found it they had done it. They said they can't send me back to the ward and, well, they need to talk to me. He described as a real surprise. So did the person that was supposed to get circumcision get bladder Botox? Or did they just completely misunderstand? I think they just screwed it up.
Starting point is 01:50:41 I mean... He went to the hospital for a cis... Some kind of cis procedure. It involves looking inside the bladder using a thin camera before Botox is injected into the bladder wall. He told the story he was so distracted, chatting to nurses, that he didn't really really. He was getting a different procedure until it was too late. Wait. I'm going to tell you, once they grab my...
Starting point is 01:51:02 All right. I'm going to go for the bladder. Well, maybe they went through... I don't know how they were accessing the bladder. Oh, that's true. They probably went through the... Erethra. No, I'd ask not to.
Starting point is 01:51:16 I'd ask to take a different route. Once you get on ways, you find a different way to get there. Can't reach it going through my throat. There's a belly button. Right. That's a whole highway right there, bud. We remain deeply and genuinely sorry for this mistake. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize again to Mr. Brazier.
Starting point is 01:51:33 Was he numb there? Because isn't it extremely painful? To get circumcised? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, especially as an adult or anything. I don't know. Maybe it feels good as an adult.
Starting point is 01:51:42 We don't know. We never had it done. Try it once. I'm already circumcised. Oh, me too. Yeah. This is a real thing in our household, so I need to know. Has anybody had it done as an adult?
Starting point is 01:51:52 Oh, for your son? Mm-hmm. Interesting. They don't circumcise in Haiti? Mm-mm. And I mean, I'm not saying that that's what we're. we're going to do, but I mean, it's a conversation. What if you have Alexa do it?
Starting point is 01:52:01 You got charged more than $100, though. Okay. Amy got a note from someone who's real name is Alexa, who will come to her son's birthday party, and she's like, Amazon screw me over for years. At least I can make a little money off of it. Right. Basically. Are you going to reply to any of those emails?
Starting point is 01:52:16 I mean, there's so many. Yeah, I will eventually. I appreciate the people that are also attaching a picture. I feel like they're committed. They're serious. They mean business. They're trying to show that Brown's skin. So. Oh, yeah, what you got over there?
Starting point is 01:52:32 Amy is looking for someone to come and act like Alexa at her son's birthday. He's turning nine. He loves Alexa. It's like his best friend. And so she wants someone. Does she have to fake that voice? It could be fun for everybody. I mean, it's like entertainment.
Starting point is 01:52:42 Like, we'll be like, hey, Alexa. And we'll ask questions. And then I don't care. Just give an answer. And then all of a sudden, when the party gets down, you hear. Who's the door? It's Siri. Siri.
Starting point is 01:52:52 Come on in. All the sudden, all the everything starts showing up. All the AIs. Yeah. I don't know. could be fun. Yeah. I'm into it and I am getting some hate.
Starting point is 01:53:01 Some people, I'm like, well, you're going to get hate for anything. You could say, you know what, I don't need a hundred bucks today to an animal shelter. I cannot believe you didn't put that money for kids. It doesn't. Oh, I know. It does not matter what you do. Some people, one person said, Bobby, oh, well, I mean, they emailed me, but then I guess they thought they're communicating with you too. And they said, Bobby, I hope you're not okay with this.
Starting point is 01:53:21 Amy lying to her child. I'm like, what? Well, they did get a hold of me. You just made sure it happened. Starting point is 01:55:59 with impressive range and smart technology. Efficiency meets capability. Right when you need it. We make it easy. Toyota, let's go places. I got a story about the TSA here. They stopped a traveler with flowers. And they were like, hmm, what's up with those flowers?
Starting point is 01:56:21 There was a knife in the flowers. What? Yeah. That was their disguise? A passenger flying through Seattle, Tacoma, was stopped when a knife was found hiding in the flower stems. They were trying to bring it on the carry-on. The traveler was stopped during a routine screening of carry-on luggage. The passenger will face a civil penalty for having a concealed weapon.
Starting point is 01:56:44 It's like a real knife, too. It's not accidental. But what was their plan? I don't know. According to the TSA website, knives are allowed on flights and checked bags. Plastic and butter knives are the only kind. allowed on the carry-on luggage. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:59 Look at it. I mean, it's like a real knife. It's a legit knife. They were trying to disguise in there. What's a civil penalty? Civil is like not criminal. You just pay money, basically. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:57:12 You don't go to jail, but you have to pay money. Okay. Like O.J. Lost his criminal, excuse me, was found not guilty. Not guilty. In his criminal. But lost his civil, and he was supposedly going to pay money. millions of dollars.
Starting point is 01:57:28 And I don't think he has. Yeah. Do you guys following him on Twitter? No. I don't. No, we do not. I don't. People retweet him sometimes.
Starting point is 01:57:36 This is an idiot. He tweets from jail. Oh, he's not in jail? He's out. And he just started a Twitter page a couple months ago. He was like, follow me. I'm going to give you the real scoop. Oh.
Starting point is 01:57:43 You guys are sociopaths, huh? Tomorrow morning, fresh off my victory of the draft today, we'll be doing Best Songs from the 90s. We're going to do that at 9-8th Central. That'll be our draft tomorrow. Best songs from the 90s. Gosh, it's going to be so hard. Yeah, it's going to be tough.
Starting point is 01:58:01 Children born to older parents are better behaved. At this rate, I'm going to have perfect kids. Well, I mean, the mom has to be older, too. The only thing that... Did you not catch that bones? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I was going on to the story, but go ahead. Go ahead. Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:58:18 Say what you're thinking. I mean, how old are you going to be, Amy? I mean, either you... I don't know. You're cut off as what? 25 for younger. Okay. So I'm just saying.
Starting point is 01:58:31 Yeah, I would, yeah, 25, 20. Yeah. Okay. But it's a cut off. And older, it's like 72. She's basically saying the kid's going to be like, so dad's so old, but mom. She's just a few years older than me. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:58:44 There's no reason for you to think that. Why would you think that? It may or may not. I was just saying that would have to be the circumstance. I think you're walking us down a trail. No, I'm not. How old was the last person you went on a date with? Uh-oh.
Starting point is 01:58:55 Look at it. Uh-oh. No, no, it's fine question. The last person I wanted to date with, 32. Okay. Time before that. Hmm. Remed-Man, can you give me some thinking music please?
Starting point is 01:59:05 I don't know the order, but time before that? I know that there's someone in the next. Can you give me a little thinking music please? As Amy, thank you very much. Amy, that's someone's what. How old? Or how young? If you're going to put it out Front Street, just say how to age.
Starting point is 01:59:18 I'm not putting it on Front Street. I don't know the exact age. I'm guessing. It's not Front Street. Go ahead. I think that's how old they are. Oh. Oh, 20.
Starting point is 01:59:28 Okay, I'll just put it on the deadline, or the cutoff. 25. No, older. 24? No, old. Oh, really? Yeah. That's good.
Starting point is 01:59:35 Hey, what about the wedding one? She'll always look young. People that look younger, that's good because when they get older, they look younger. Yeah. Well, Eddie, have like 10 seconds. What about the wedding one? How old was that one? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:46 Oh, she was like 18. No, she was. Don't say that because it's not true. It's not true. How old was she? I didn't know how old was. She was 23. All right.
Starting point is 01:59:57 Don't say that, Amy. That's not fair to me. I didn't know. Bobby Boom. Come on. Did you ever watch the first season of the OA? Yes. Did you watch the second?
Starting point is 02:00:07 No. Okay, well, don't. Why? They've just canceled it. Ew. So, and apparently, again, I didn't watch the second season. Love the first. But the second season leaves a lot of questions, but they're never doing the third.
Starting point is 02:00:19 Okay. They said we are incredibly proud of the 16 mesmerizing chapters of the first. There you go. No, because I won't invest in it anymore. I watch the other episode of The Boys on Amazon Prime. Mike, do you watch any more of that show or no? I'm like five in, yeah. It's good, huh?
Starting point is 02:00:37 It's so good. It's a superhero-ish show. It's not about superheroes saving lives, but it's about if they really existed their real-life struggles. So what would you say the show's about? I mean, it's like the dark side of superheroes. And it's crazy. It's crazy.
Starting point is 02:00:51 Yeah, it's good. It's good. It's a real life. It's called, well, I mean, there's superheroes. Oh, right. That's true. But it's called the boys. and I mean, such a generic name too, right?
Starting point is 02:00:59 Yeah, I had no idea what it was about. Yeah. I don't even know what you're doing really. Are there girls superheroes or just the boy ones? There are girls too. So I don't know what the boys means even now. Do you? No. Okay.
Starting point is 02:01:10 Okay, listen, we are very happy that you were with us today. You could have been anywhere in the world, but you're with us, and we appreciate that. That being said, we must go. Later this afternoon, Jana Kramer's coming over to the house and doing a bobby cast. Always go to talk to her. Oh, she was up here yesterday. Yeah, she texts me. She goes, who's driving that white truck in your spot?
Starting point is 02:01:30 Oh, I was parked there. She hit me and she was like, someone's in your parking spot. It's a white SUV. And I was like, interesting. What kind of is? She told me. I was like, that's Amy. I almost got, yeah, okay, but I'm okay to be there, right?
Starting point is 02:01:42 If I drive up and you're on my spot? Well, I knew you weren't coming back up. I mean, I thought you said if you're not here that I can park in a house. I meant like out of town. Oh, really? Has to be out of town? You can have it. As long as I'm not.
Starting point is 02:01:54 Yeah, sure. Well, now I'll start checking. I'll be like, are you returning to your parking spot today? I'm in a box today, too. So I go see my friend and trainer Jared over at Tidal and get some lifting and some boxing in. And I did have a good bike workout yesterday, though, too. Oh. Did you get a shout out?
Starting point is 02:02:11 No. That won't happen again forever. That's it. Yeah, probably done. What's up with you, Amy? Well, I got to get my kids ready. They start school tomorrow. Is that right?
Starting point is 02:02:18 Yeah. It is back to school, people. Eddie, when do your kids start school? Yeah, next week. And that's what we're doing today, too. We're doing less shopping. trying to get those clothes together and supplies. Here's a predicament with Stevenson.
Starting point is 02:02:30 I don't know, Eddie, if you deal with this. But you can't find him pants that fit. His body, I don't understand what's happening. Like, he's so tiny, but then I guess his legs have grown. Everything's high waters. Everything. Yeah, my 11-year-old, too. He came out the other day, I'm like, okay, that's more than skinny pants, dude.
Starting point is 02:02:46 Those are too skinny. Those are too skinny, and they're high up. I just like, you can't. And then he likes a belt and he likes to tuck it in, like Urkel. And I'm like, what? I mean, I don't want to, I mean, I want him to have his own style, but it is not working. So we have got to figure that out before schools back. They just grow too fast, man.
Starting point is 02:03:02 School's back. Yeah. Can't wait to one day have that problem. It's not a problem. It's actually a good thing for us. Are we going to go? Thank you guys. See you on Wednesday.
