The Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show. There's always a fine line when I wake up in the morning, and the alarm is turning. I think I ever make it on time. But as soon as I get my books and I get myself a look,
Starting point is 00:03:02 I usually am at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by. And it's all right, because I'm saved by the bell. Yeah. That being said, there is a time in the morning where I go, like,
Starting point is 00:03:13 because I feel almost 100%. But my voice is kind of like, yeah, I got these allergies, sinus thing going. I haven't told Mike D last night. I was like, I don't know, man. Because my point is,
Starting point is 00:03:25 at what degree does a bad voice become more annoying than it is beneficial to the listener. Because if they're hearing me go, nobody wants to hear that, you know? Yeah. And I felt like I was better than that today. I was better than that line that I draw of.
Starting point is 00:03:44 I just can't do it. And Amy agreed with me. We sat in the room and she was like, ooh, not good. Oh, not that. All right, talk a low. Use deep voice. So for the first part of the show, I'm going to talk about it. And maybe you can't tell it so much, but I was.
Starting point is 00:03:57 And then you warmed up. Yeah, then you warm it up a little bit. It's still not great, but... Yeah, but that's the thing. I think I have severe allergies. I used to always think I would just get head colds three times a year and it'd fall into my chest. But now my doctor says, you just have crazy allergies.
Starting point is 00:04:14 I always thought of as... I couldn't be allergic to things. I'm not allergic to things. It's in my dating profile, not allergic to things. Oh, really? And all the girls have to be like, ooh, it's sexy. Yeah, he's not allergic. And now it's the thing.
Starting point is 00:04:26 You know, Morgan number two and Amy never gave me new profile pictures. I guess Morgan number two sent him over, didn't you? Yeah, I sent you a few. I said never. Oh, I guess I didn't. I found one. It's weird I didn't send it. Now I remember a little bit.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I said, hey, I'm not getting many hits on the old dating profile. Because you had your picture of you winning an award. Yeah. I thought it was a good picture of me. It wasn't about the award. I was smiling. I looked warm. It's like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:55 A girl might seem to be like, okay. Okay, but I was wrong. All right. These girls said I was wrong. And I said, and I remember this now pretty vividly. I said, I needed a new dating, and my phone automatically rings, and Morgan I remember two, like seven of them. Like, she was just ready for me to ask because she knew my other one was so bad.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Yeah. And then she sent me a weird one, though, like me drinking a smoothie outside of a smoothie shop looking down at the ground. Oh. That's not bad. What does it look like? But that means them hide in my face. That's what I should do, left face?
Starting point is 00:05:22 What did I see? Hide that face in. No, leave them guessing. No, that's not it. Good. If I'm flipping through and someone hides their face, I'm like, out. But it shows smoothie, like, you're health conscious. You're going to take care of your body. Nah.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Well, I'll see what Morgan can show me. Well, no, no, you find. What were you going to send me? Well, gosh, that was a while ago. Oh, all right. Give me a minute. Here's what I wanted to bring up. I made a note to talk about this in the post-show pre-show. Here's Raymundo. Hey, Raymundo, can you come in here for one second?
Starting point is 00:05:53 He's in the glass room. Hey, can you come in here for one second, Ramundo? If you're listening to this, the show is over, and we record this after the show. So it may sound a little sloppy, but that's all right. Man, I'll even clear my throat on the post show, pre-show. Here. Hey, put those headphones on. So we recently hired a new phone screener.
Starting point is 00:06:12 And she now works in there beside you. And we've only put her on once. I'm still too early. I haven't had Morgan number two pull her name off of Insta story once because I'm like, she's not really part of the group yet until she's part of the group. Like, you've got to be here a little bit before you're just, in, right? By the way, how's she doing? I think she's doing great. She's helping me write some blogs and it's been awesome.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Yeah, nice? Yeah, she's nice. Yeah? Okay. But what's happened with you, Raymond, doing your world? What are we talking to the phone screener or me personally? Well, the phone screener and the drama, it's brought you. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Guys, I don't even know how to tell you guys this. So I had some relationships with people in the building. Brandon, he's a really good friend of mine. Brandon? Yeah. Who's that? He's upstairs. He's like promotions.
Starting point is 00:06:57 There's also a girl named Mary Parker. She's awesome. They're my really good friends and they tried out for the position. Yeah. They, like, our relationship is completely different. They don't even talk to me anymore. Big cut they didn't get it? Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I think they really thought, since they had an end with me, that they were going to get the phone screener position. And, oh, it's just answering a phone that it was an easy, shoe-in thing. We have people all over the country apply for this thing. It was actually a big damn deal. I don't. Oh, hello. I don't even think, though, that they got to me.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Because what happens is Morgan number one, and who else went through them? Hillary, I think. Morgan number one, and Hillary, who had the job of the past, went through and cut it. Yeah. And so I got the five. So I got top five that I interviewed. They weren't in the top five. I thought Mary Parker was.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Yeah, one of them was. Oh, was she? Yeah. Then she was. Yeah. So, I mean, they were close, and they were in the building. So we knew. Well, and we had, I heart, like, approved these people.
Starting point is 00:07:52 So we're like, okay, they've been prejudged by eye heart. They got to be at least decent people. So they honestly had to leg up. And they were very close, but they didn't get it. And it's just like, man, I almost need to pull them aside and be like, are we still good? Are we okay? Sorry, you didn't get the position. Sorry, don't hate me.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I'm your boy. You can put that on me. I have no relationship with anyone. And I wasn't even in on the interview process and stuff. So I am going to put it on you. It was M1 and Bobby. Yeah. Yeah, you can put it on me.
Starting point is 00:08:17 The girl that we hired now, Christina, is super over. qualified. Yes. Much more so than anybody else because she does things that we haven't even started using yet digitally. So, yeah, my bad. Yeah, and I feel like too, she also knows sports. I'm like, great. Our podcast that we do? Oh, she would come in in school, you guys in sports. Oh, she would be way better than Eddie. I'm like, Eddie might be the first one out. She would come in real. Dude, she's going to be, she would be really,
Starting point is 00:08:44 really good. And I've talked to her about it. Have you guys brought her in his guest yet? No, I talked to the lunch is kind of like the godfather of it. So I kind of mentioned it real quick. If he wants to Bring her in, bring her in. Well, I didn't know if she was a lot. I mean, Bobby doesn't even mention her name on this show, so I thought, man, it's a little early to be jumping on the sore losers. Oh, it's like you got to hit the show.
Starting point is 00:09:03 Yeah, yeah, like if she's accepted into the group, then she can come on all the podcasts. Hey, that's up to you guys. Well, Ramundo, I'm sorry those relationships are hurt. All good, all good, just wanting people to know. All right. Thanks, buddy. Amy, your weekend, how was it? It was really good.
Starting point is 00:09:16 What did you do? I mean, the weather in Nashville was awful as rainy, but we used that as time to watch movies. Like my husband and I got to watch three movies. What'd you watch? We watched Black Klansman. Yeah. How was that? It was good. And I, again, and I didn't realize it was true till the end, and it got better. How many stars? Knowing that it was true. Out of four? Three? Three stars out of four, all right? Black Clansman, go ahead? Green Book. Green Book. Green Book, the one the one last night. Yeah. How many stars? Five? No, don't do that. It's four. That's like someone going 110 percent. You can. You can.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Okay, okay, it's just so good because I gave us, we also watched the Star is Born, which I gave a Star is Born, four out of four. So I would say Green Book and Star is born, all the stars. I did not think a Star was four out of four stars. So I don't know if all think Green Book is now. No, I bet you'll like Green Book better. Yeah. But I, you know, I'm going to dial it up that because it looks slow. There are some, no, honestly, maybe there's some parts a little bit, but they're, the acting is good and you're curious about where it's going. Because I didn't know anything going into it. I just saw it was nominated and I was like, and it could win for best pictures. I was like, I better make sure I watch this one. And,
Starting point is 00:10:29 and it won. All three were good, huh? Yeah, all three were good. In order, well, you should go Green Book first and then Black Klansman if you're, because you've already seen the Star is born. I got to finish watching Umbrella Academy. That show is so good to me. Oh, my husband and I dabbled in that. It's fantastic. He's obsessed. I, Amy, it's like the, listen, I don't I don't think it's for everybody. Okay, yeah. I don't think it's for everybody because it's the, it's a bit of superhero. It's just a bit of superhero.
Starting point is 00:10:55 I mean, I wouldn't say it's crazy science fiction because any superhero you could say is science-y fiction. It's not so much science fiction, but it's just a bit of superhero. I love it. I almost wanted to stay awake, and I wasn't feeling good. I almost wanted to stay awake and finish it last night. I mean, episode 9 of 10, I love it. Yeah. I think it's my new favorite show in a year or two years, like that I just want to binge.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Yeah, we're not. My husband will have been, he kept wanting to watch it, and I was like, hmm, you know, we have shows we save for when we're alone. Yeah. I tried, though. How far did you get into it? Oh, we might be on episode four. And you aren't into it?
Starting point is 00:11:36 I might be on Instagram while he's watching. I don't know. I know I can give you a general idea of what has happened. I do that a lot. Like, we're watching something and I get on Instagram, like, oh, that means it's not really good, huh? Right. No, because our shows, we're not. I'm watching it and I get on Instagram
Starting point is 00:11:51 and I'm like, I got to stop. We're just drawn to do things that we do habitually, which is Instagram. If we're not on Instagram for every 30 minutes or so, we pick it up and we look it. We're like, oh, you've got to see what's going on. So I'll rewind the show. Yeah. This is when we're like going to bed. These are shows that we watch
Starting point is 00:12:07 for bed, which we normally it's whatever's hot on Netflix at the moment or if, you know, there's something to watch. But I guess we did Thursday night Friday night, Friday night, maybe. So we're probably episode three or four. you know, watch an episode go to sleep. Like, I wasn't trying to stay awake or anything to keep watching.
Starting point is 00:12:24 I love it. And again, I don't think it's for everyone. If you don't love the superhero stuff. But The Umbrella Academy is my new favorite show on Netflix. Yeah. And your husband likes it too, so that's kind of a... He does, for sure. Mike, you watch it yet?
Starting point is 00:12:36 I haven't started to yet, no. That's surprising because you're bigger nerd than I am. I still got to finish the Punisher. Oh, the Punisher's so good. And here's the thing, too, is that the Punisher's, all the Marvel shows are canceled, but they're not canceled because they suck. Well, what happened? They're canceled because Disney's taking everything from Netflix
Starting point is 00:12:52 that's Disney to putting it on Disney Plus. Oh, gotcha. You want to talk about something that's going to compete quickly with Netflix? Not all the way, but give it a real run early is Disney Plus. Because you've got to think about everything Disney has, everything the ABC has, everything they're going to create. You just take the Disney stuff and you make your streaming platform. Yeah, even the cartoons.
Starting point is 00:13:11 So will all of ABC go over there? Yeah, I mean, I would assume because it's that. Those cartoons have been in lockup for you. years. Like a Lion King, Cinderella, all that stuff? I tried to watch Little Mermaid when I was on Dance With the Stars. I couldn't find it anywhere. I think it's up now. It's up now. You have to buy it though on iTunes. So I'm just going to wait, but... That's going to be crazy, dude. Disney Plus is going to be a monster. Hulu's going to be cooler. Now, where Hulu has an advantage is they're now doing live TV. Everybody's got to find their niche. Yes. I think my husband
Starting point is 00:13:39 is looking into that to cancel our cable suit, because you can watch sports on Hulu live. I've told you guys my theory about network television, right? In live? What's that again? Have I not? Maybe. Well, it's not now, but in five, seven years, network television will be 80 to 90% all live. Because again, we're into the culture now if we want things on demand. Demand, demand, demand, on demand, on demand. And so, that being said, why would you watch a show on network TV if it's not live when you could not appointment watch it, watch it whenever you want? Unless you just happen to be sitting there. It makes sense. So what they're going to do is it's just going to be mostly live television on network. I mean, that's why sports are worth so much.
Starting point is 00:14:20 One, it gets great ratings, but two, it gets great ratings because people have to watch it live. Yep. You can't, you don't wait. If it's Sunday night, you don't wait until Wednesday to watch your favorite NFL team or just an NFL team. Yeah, because you can't avoid it that long. Sometimes my husband will have to avoid it for a couple of hours and he'll be watching on delay. And he literally will like not check text message or anything because people will be texting him about, you know, did you see that play?
Starting point is 00:14:43 And he'll be like, no, I'm not there yet. You want to talk about a social media freeze. About the whole time I'll do it to not watch. It's to not look at, yeah. So I think that's going to happen there. You know, and even I have theories about like our radio show. It's going to be live, but I think it gets updated even quicker digitally and on demand. Where now you're hearing it because the show's over, the show's all the way over.
Starting point is 00:15:06 We finish this. This is done. We packaged it. We put it up. You get it in one piece. My theory is that as soon as we finish a bit, boom, it goes up. Oh, well, you're going bit. I was going to go hour.
Starting point is 00:15:16 No. So some places do hour, but it'll be uploaded into four hours. What's going to happen is it's going to be one. This is so nerdy. And this is what I think about at night before I go to bed, right? Because not the two moan horn, but I was really one of the first ones going, hey, listen to us on the internet. Even though rating, it doesn't help ratings one bit. I'd rather have you be a part of what we're doing than not at all.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Because if you're not in your radio and you only have the internet, you're going to listen to something. This is 10 years ago. And so, but my theory on this. is that let's say we're doing the show live and there's always going to be a place for live because you're talking about current events right and there's always going to be a place for I'm so nerding people out there changing it but I don't care it's podcast suck it all right so oh yeah this is the pre-show yeah yeah just fast forward to the po show regular show to the regular but so as soon as segment it's over it loads but it loads into one consistent stream
Starting point is 00:16:08 load load load so you just have this one long stream of the show not four hours to download not hour one, then hour two. That is constantly getting updated. Yes, it's as close to live as you can. So if you want to listen to it, kind of live, 10 minutes behind, three hours behind, it will always be there digitally for you. So it's all changing.
Starting point is 00:16:30 And people are like, well, I can't, I would say the strength of this show has always been, we're always looking ahead. We're not always just like, okay. And I say to radio people all the time, stop worrying about just your show. Like, you need to worry about nine other things. You have a secondary podcast, because if you don't,
Starting point is 00:16:45 You're talking up songs on the radio. You're done in a few years. Like, unless you're just in a tiny town with a small company that is dedicated to that. But anyway, thanks for us to know that TED Talk. You heard it here. We all took notes. Everybody passed out. Amy got on Instagram like she does during the umbrella club.
Starting point is 00:17:06 That's what, Amy, I literally, this is what I do before I go to bed. When I turn the things off, I think about two things. One, the future of content, not just broadcasting, but content. Which is why we're rebuilding in the studio like a TV set. Because people don't want to hear the show. They want to consume it in many, many ways. So I'm going to make sure you have 11 ways to take this show in. Segment by segment, full show.
Starting point is 00:17:30 Visually, you want it on your phone, tall, you got it. Everything that you could possibly have, you're going to have it from this show. Because we're not just a radio show, right? And then two, I think about death. That's pretty much all I think about. You do? Oh, all the time.
Starting point is 00:17:44 I'm obsessed with death. Like how you're going to go? No, I don't care about that. What's going to happen after? What happens? Oh. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:17:51 And the fact that nobody, we can't talk to a single person that's ever died and came back. No, because they died. To actually tell us. So you're basing it off faith. You're basing it off science of what they say happens to you. You're basing it off things that you don't know. That either you trust,
Starting point is 00:18:10 you believe. You're taught. but nothing that anyone has ever experienced that you can talk to. Right. But either way, you're not coming back here. Well. Unless you come back as a bird. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Right. Now and again. Not something I believe, but some people think you come back as other animals. Not something she believes at all. But also not something you can't prove. Right. Okay. But either way, you're not going to be in your body, in your shell, the way you are right
Starting point is 00:18:42 No. No. I would say no, but my only point is I have apps. There's no way to know if it's right. There's no right or wrong. And that's what keeps you up at night. Yeah, it's just like there's endless. Inless. I was listening to a podcast. Some guy was on Oprah's Soul Cycle. No. Super Soul Conversation. Yeah, whatever, right? Soul cycle. Okay, wait. And he talks about like you have 10 shots, 10, 10, 10, you come back 10 different times. Reincarnation? Well, sort of, yes, but every time you come back, you have something else to learn before you get to go be with God and that each life there is some lesson that you're put on
Starting point is 00:19:17 earth or wherever I don't even have you said earth and I could be messing this stuff I haven't heard in a while to learn and so you know maybe I came back and I have to learn communication oh okay because I'm not good at communicating with people I'm wonderful at talking to a microphone and talking to a lot of people at once I'm not good at like one-on-one communication and so maybe that's what I'm supposed to learn right now vulnerability I don't know I don't know I don't know But I do it all the time I think about it. Gosh, that doesn't make you change the way you live your life? Like, it does.
Starting point is 00:19:50 It does. Because now, if you think that... I'm not scared of it so much. And here's why I'm not scared of it, because there have been far more important people than me die. And you know what? Everybody's going to die. Everyone. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Like, there isn't a way out. Right. And if there's not a way out, why concern yourself with what you cannot concern yourself with? Oh. But you think about death. But never in a way of just sitting there being scared. I just have all these thoughts. More of curiosity.
Starting point is 00:20:18 These thoughts about something so much bigger than I will ever understand. Yeah, and one day you're going to find out. Isn't that cool? Maybe. One day you're going to find out if there's nothing or everything. But if there's nothing, I'll never find out. You just go away. Correct.
Starting point is 00:20:29 But if there's something, you're like, oh, wow. Yeah. This is cool. Yeah. But then I start thinking like, what if my girl mom is watching me poop? What if my mom is watching me, you know, beepop myself? You know what I mean? But if you died and you were able to do that
Starting point is 00:20:43 Would you want to come see us poop? Yeah. No. No. No. You wouldn't want to come to see Lunchbox poop. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Just think about that. I think that we have created these weird, you know, here's something else I think about too. Go ahead. We have created these weird stigmas in the West on things that we think are... America? Is that West?
Starting point is 00:21:04 Yes. Western culture. Canada. I was thinking like New Mexico. No. Arizona. The wild, wild west. Even the West as in Europe, right?
Starting point is 00:21:15 But all shift a bit. But we have these weird, like using the bathroom doing number two. Yeah. That's something everybody does. We all do it. Why is it so weird? Because we've been told it's weird. So you're saying people in the Eastern aren't as concerned about it?
Starting point is 00:21:28 I'm saying people in different cultures. It's not even a thing. Not seeing the East specifically, but in the West it's gross. Picking location. We're like, we don't even want to talk about it. We don't want to see it. And I don't. By the way, I'm not a fan of it, not trying to get in that game.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Don't hit me up. Because it is disgusting to me. Let it be known. But if every single human being does it, every single one does it all the time. And it's absolutely a necessity of life in every way possible. If you eat, if food goes in, food must go out. Correct. Why is that gross?
Starting point is 00:22:01 If everybody does it. Yeah. Don't we all do pretty much everything the same? Sex, for example. Why sex? does that. Well, then it gets to why is sex dirty? You consider dirty. There's not a single person on this earth that came, that didn't come from sex. The human body. Why can we not all just be naked? Because we've been taught you can't be naked. Yeah. Everybody has a weener or a
Starting point is 00:22:28 voo-voo. You know what I mean? Everybody. So why do we hide the, it's not like somebody has an extra special one with three heads on it. And we should hide that one. No. Every single person has it. All right. Let's take it off. Let's move to a new disc colony. All right. Take your clothes off.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Again, this is what Eddie. This is what I think about before you're crazy. I'm thankful for clothes. No wonder you can't sleep. No wonder you have anxiety. But you're thankful for clothes because again we've been taught that certain bodies are right. I know. And that's also a thing. We listen to it. And it all comes back to capitalism.
Starting point is 00:23:05 I'm a big fan of capitalism, by the way. But it all comes back to how do we make money? Well, we make people feel a certain way. And if they feel a certain way, then they have to pay for something in order to not feel that way or to feel that way even more. You know, I have a solution for you. Weed? No. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:23:21 No, that might make him contemplate things more. Lunchbox. Do you worry about stuff like this? Oh, yeah. I worry about dying all the time, but that's about it. Oh. I don't worry about dying. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Do you sleep well at night? Oh, I sleep like a champ. See, he doesn't worry about anything. Like, he doesn't think about stuff. Like, we talk about this all the time. He thinks about nothing so he can fall asleep in two minutes, bones. I can't. I know.
Starting point is 00:23:44 You just, I'm just time to go to bed. It's time to go to bed. I think about things, but, yeah. Whenever I lay down, it's like, well, it's time now to contemplate. Nope. It's like I've had, I've been working. It's me in my bed. Think about stuff.
Starting point is 00:23:57 I don't know. You know, anything else you guys want to know? See, that's a lot, dude. It sucks sometimes. It's a lot of stuff you can't even. I think if you got. if you get married like this year like you're supposed to
Starting point is 00:24:08 and then you have a family and kids and you'll think about other guys No no no no he'll think about other things Like he'll be able to think about like you know What is what am I going to do tomorrow with the kids? Like what are we going to do that's fun? Yeah but then when I put them away I'm talking about existentialism
Starting point is 00:24:23 Or it's like yeah yeah yeah When you put them away you mean to bed Okay little Bobby it's time for bed What do you think about death son? No Daddy Not to at least 10 Double digits
Starting point is 00:24:32 Daddy Anyway that's why think about every day. You're going to be a good dad. Oh yeah, you can be a great dad. Just side note. You are. I can't wait for that day.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Like, it's going to be crazy. It's me awesome. Y'all, I can't think, you know what I think about. Here's why I would agree. Here's what I would agree. Right, two reasons. One, terrible dad growing up and I have something to prove. Daddy issues.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Two, I don't really do anything without putting all my effort into it. So I think I'll be a good dad. Yeah. I don't know that'd be the best husband. Well, you just said you don't do anything without putting going all in or whatever. Yeah, but when you have a husband and then you have kids and your dad, it's tough. Juggle two things. Well, I get it.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Mom's have to do the same thing. I don't think. I'm talking about Bobby. Okay, got on. I don't think I'll be like a bad human or like a cheater because I don't cheat, never cheated. No, it's emotionally. It's more like. Yeah, it's tough.
Starting point is 00:25:23 That's tough. Time balance. Correct. Like my dog, love that dog. Kiss them on the head. Tell him I love them all the time. Girlfriend? Eh.
Starting point is 00:25:30 But same thing. Wife. Try to do better. Kid, probably love them all time, kiss them on the head, tell them. Yeah. I know. It's hard. It's hard to juggle it too.
Starting point is 00:25:40 You don't think you'll be able to kiss her on the head. I hope so. I had a friend just texted me a minute ago. It's like, hey, I'm going to try to set you up with this girl. I was like, all right. And he sent over a picture, and then she didn't respond. Wait, so you messaged her? I didn't, he did.
Starting point is 00:25:53 I don't even know who this girl is. Hey, is that a flight attendant girl? She doesn't listen to the show. She may now. So you don't talk about other girls? I didn't try to set up. I didn't try to set myself up. And second of all, I have a girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:26:03 I know, but still, if she's listening, you got to be like... No, that actually makes him more desirable. No. But again, I didn't do this. So that cancels that out, too. I know. You got to be like, not right now. I'm maybe talking to someone, maybe.
Starting point is 00:26:16 I want to be honest. You are being honest. And I'm just telling you guys a story that he goes, he sent me copied and paste this and he goes, hey, I just try to say this girl I know. I know you don't know her. I didn't ask for it. But he's like, hey, I know this is random. I have zero clue your type.
Starting point is 00:26:31 But I have a friend. a guy who you should meet any interest. A guy? That's what he wrote. Oh, that's what he wrote to her about you. Okay, I thought he was telling you. Yeah, I was like, oh, okay, okay, all right. He's like, I don't know your type.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Bobby's like, well, I would start with it. She's a girl. She's like, she sees the picture and she goes. So it's a girl setting you up. That's a guy setting me up. Oh, gosh. She was so confused. And then the girl goes, I'm super picky.
Starting point is 00:26:57 After she gets the picture, I'm super picky, but I'll creep on his Instagram some more. Oh, speaking of your Instagram, you just posted a picture of yourself from Iowa. That means they saw the picture. Who's the friend? Why can't I just? What? Can you tell me who the friend is that's trying to set you up and show me a pick?
Starting point is 00:27:14 Okay. Also, you posted, speaking of Instagram, you posted a picture of you in Iowa and the snow this weekend. Yeah. And actually, that might be a good pick for your dating app. It looks like I'm like somewhere adventurous, huh? Yeah, and you have like a toothpick or something or a sucker in your mouth? I was eating a sucker. It looks cool.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Like if you zoom in and you've got headphones on your ear and you're wearing like your letter jacket from high school. It's not a love jacket from high school. A tooth pick, letter jacket high school, you're in the mud. It's like all the offices. No, it's a good picture. It's not a letter jacket from high school. I know it as joking, but it's cute. I like it.
Starting point is 00:27:49 It has a B on it like Bobby. Yeah. So was the whole state like that picture or would you guys just pick a mountain where they shoveled snow? It looks like you guys were buried. It does. It was snow deluxe, man. Wow. That was actually pushed up a bit because we had to get to the airport, but it was a lot of snow.
Starting point is 00:28:10 It looked cold. You like, and my answer to story, I'd show out the window. It was just nothing but the snow, though. And then we were leaving, and we were trying to leave after my show on Saturday night. And it was like, and I stay and meet everybody, right? After a show, maybe I must take a picture, unless I'm sick, which I had this thing, but still I felt like I should go out and take pictures of everybody. Or I'm in a hurry.
Starting point is 00:28:29 like I have to get somewhere because of a flight, I'll stay and take a picture with everybody because if you spend money to come watching me, at least I can do just take a picture with you. And I was already like, oh, I got allergies, but we had like 40 minutes and there were 400 people that stayed and take pictures. You do it all?
Starting point is 00:28:43 Every one of them, and I'm telling you, a couple of them got a little irritated at me because I was like, I got to go. Yeah, it's hard. But I had to fit every person in because it was important to me not to leave anybody behind. So if anybody's listening to this
Starting point is 00:28:54 and we got a picture and I didn't get time to talk to you, it's because it wasn't about you. I had to get everybody in. So, because, right, Mike? Yeah. It was a long, it was. It was a lot of you.
Starting point is 00:29:03 So, but it's awesome to have that problem. It's not even a problem. But I didn't want anyone to feel like we didn't get to have a moment because then people in the back wouldn't even get a picture. Right. But I'm down with my comedy tour. Now the raging idiots are going to go and start playing a little bit. Not much.
Starting point is 00:29:18 But we have this emoji love song, which I got to say is doing better than I thought I would. What do you mean? People like it more than I thought they would. Yeah. Yeah. We got that e-mo. She loved. Played an acoustic on just my guitar.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Yeah, I think that's it. Anything else? Do you guys want to say? No. All right. I think we're done for the day. Do you want to see if I can find you a date on my Instagram? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:29:56 You can make a quick video. On your Instagram? Yeah, I'll post you all my followers. I don't like how I look right now. I think all your followers, no body. Maybe not. I just got a few new ones. From?
Starting point is 00:30:09 I don't know. Oh. But I did. This is Bobby. He's single. Hi, guys. It's Bobby. I'm single.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Hit me up. This is so dumb. What on earth? I don't know if she's doing. Oh, hey, you need to show me a picture of your girl. Yeah. First of all, it's not my girl. Flight attendant girl.
Starting point is 00:30:26 All right. I have not seen a picture. I'll tag you. Lunchbox. Have you seen her? No. I'm ready to see it. We got the emoji.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Love. There she is. Whoa. Excuse me? Whoa. Let me see. You can have my phone. She's like a model.
Starting point is 00:30:49 I know. That's too far, Buzz. Let me see it. Yeah, you got to like that one. Please. No. Let me see it. Hard it.
Starting point is 00:30:54 What are you talking about? Yeah, you didn't even like that picture. I'm not. Like that one over and over. Yeah, thumbs up it. Shut up. Wow, Bones. It's like, let me see.
Starting point is 00:31:06 That one on that. No, you can't catch my phone. No, could you just start liking. Okay. Hold on. Wait, wait, closer. Get closer. Done.
Starting point is 00:31:12 What was she? Superwoman? Dang. Dang. Bones. She wasn't conservative superwoman either. What is the problem?
Starting point is 00:31:21 I don't know what's wrong with me. Dude, she's nice. I gotta go. She's very pretty. She's very pretty. Thank you all.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Eddie, you're like, she's nice. That's a married guy with her. What do you want me to say? That's the post-show pre-show. Wow. Now enjoy today's show, everyone.

Starting point is 00:32:52 Welcome to another week of the show. Morning studio. Morning. Well, well, well. Let's go to Carrie in Texas. Hey, Carrie. Hey, Bobby. What's happened with you?
Starting point is 00:33:13 Oh, nothing. I just had a question real quick. All right. Who all is going to be on the family feud? You know, one of the questions I get most, all the stuff about family for you. So it's me, Amy, lunchbox, Lauren Elena, and John Party. Sweet. Yeah, so, and I don't know when it's going to air yet.
Starting point is 00:33:33 As soon as they tell me, I'll tell everybody, it's going to air in summer because I think that show starts in July, maybe like June, July, August. And so as soon as I know, I'll let everybody know. Okay. Cool. Any other questions? No. I just wanted to let you guys know. I'm a big fan.
Starting point is 00:33:49 I listen to you guys every morning on my way to work. Hey, come on. Yeah. What do you live? What do you work? I live in Amarillo, Texas. I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Two things I love.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Yeah. That's it. Yeah, very much. Hey, thanks a lot. I appreciate that. What are the two things? Not a problem. Amarillo.
Starting point is 00:34:07 And health insurance? No, dude. The Blue Cross and Blue Shield specifically. Okay. Relax. Everybody, everybody good. Hey, I have this story I've been sitting on here all morning. This guy showed up for a day.
Starting point is 00:34:18 app date and so ends up being a robbery. Oh, no. Yeah. Police and Virginia are investigating an attempted robbery and shooting because he got shot in the butt. Thankfully, only the butt. They said that the victim thought he was meeting a woman. However, when he arrived to a dark street,
Starting point is 00:34:35 someone robbed him. A dark street. Yeah, you know, which is the obvious place to meet from a dating app. Yeah, I see in the alley behind the Wapel House. Make sure it's dark. They said the man was yelling. He had been shot and was calling out for help. Isn't that crazy? That happened at 5 o'clock this morning Really scared me
Starting point is 00:34:51 Got me Still nervous Banging on the doors He was screaming Help help help Saying that he'd been shot I got on my phone And I called the police
Starting point is 00:34:59 I didn't open up my door Because I didn't know who it was Or what was going on He was laying on the Sidewall And then he got up And he saw the limping And holding his buttocks
Starting point is 00:35:11 And that's why I don't do Online Dating except I'd want to I do yeah Yeah But it's why I don't go to dark streets from my date anymore. Yeah, just don't get any dark streets. He's do that a lot, though.
Starting point is 00:35:22 The Bobby Bones Show. Big Three Stories. Our producer Raimundo from the glass room with the news, Ramundo, what you got? Yeah, in Chicago, a judge ordered a million dollar bond for singer R. Kelly's been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal abuse. In other news, tornadoes hit the south over the weekend, causing injuries and damage. There's down trees and power lines.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Some careful out there. And finally, in sports, Tampa Bay Bucks running back, Peyton, Barber, his playbook stolen. Luckily, the buck's plays are all safe. They were able to disable the tablets. Bobby boom, come on. Remember the government shutdown? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:58 A lot of people struggled. Still, some are struggling because they haven't been paid all the way. A park ranger who was furloughed during the government shutdown won $29.5 million. Okay. In the lottery.
Starting point is 00:36:12 What? Yeah. The New Jersey lottery on Wednesday announced that Judith Smith had purchased the winning pick six ticket right at the shutdown. That's crazy. I probably was like, okay, I'm down on my luck.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Might as well try to give this whole lottery thing to go. How does that make you feel up? I mean, I guess I'm happy for her because she was facing difficult times, but it just shows you that if you don't take a leap of faith, nothing good will ever happen. Your logic on the lottery is a bit perplexing because the odds are you're not going to win. And you're hearing stories about like one out of a million. Yeah, she was down to her last dollar.
Starting point is 00:36:53 With your last dollars, would you play the lottery? Yes, because I'm not going to take that $2 any way other way to make millions of dollars unless I buy a lottery ticket. But it's not about, I don't know why we have in this conversation. You know, in his mind, it's like, well, you can't win if you don't play. Right, if you have your last $2, it's not going to get you very far. But do you know how many people have spent their last two dollars and not one? No, I don't, because they don't talk about those people. That's right.
Starting point is 00:37:18 That's exactly it. So I'm out there's very many. There's a lot. A man broke a world record by wearing 260 shirts. Like Joey? I'm friends. Could I be wearing any more clothes right now? A man, Don, 260 T-shirts at the same time.
Starting point is 00:37:35 And he's now the Guinness Book of World Record holder. He's flipping to do. And they came across the world record for most T-shirts worn one time. So he said he ordered 20 shirts up to 20XL from India. Whoa. Oh, that's a size? Yeah. I would worry how you get stuck in it and I'd be able to get out of all this.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Yes. Oh, my gosh. The picture of him, I'm too... Let me see. I'd get too claustrophobic. Mm-mm. I can't handle that. That's so funny.
Starting point is 00:38:00 That's crazy. Well, put that up at bobbybones.com. That's funny and impressive. I'd feel like I wouldn't be able to get out. His legs look so small. The Bobby Bone Show. Lunchbox's new year's resolution was just to listen to more music. It's crazy you don't even really like music.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Yeah, I mean, it's okay. It's just not something I seek out. But he wants to be further included. in a lot of the music discussion. So he found out, how new is his artist? I'm real new, pretty new to the scene. And what's his name? Ed Shearin.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Guys, this guy's got it. Lexx, he's come in here like. Oh yeah, he played on this show four years ago. Yeah, well, he's finally making it. Oh, wow. I listen to him. Yeah. And I listen to some of his songs, and I was like, this dude is really talented.
Starting point is 00:38:47 He is really smart with his lyrics, and he can get any chick he wants. So what song did you hear that made you go, ooh, that's good? I don't know the names of them. Oh. I was listening to the, it was an album and had a divide sign. Yeah, his last album. So I would say divide? Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Yeah, this one. I heard this one. What'd you go? I was like, yeah, this dude's good. Like, he is telling chicks like, he, like, when I hear this, I'm like, okay, I see why chicks would go after him and just melt. They'd be like, whatever, you can half me. Like, because he expects, they hear these words and they're like, Wow, this is the way he talks to a woman?
Starting point is 00:39:23 Okay. Like, genius. Like, he is a lyrical genius. Yeah, which is why he's a massive superstar. He sells out stadiums. That's why everyone knows who he is. Yeah, yeah, stadiums, not arenas, stadiums. Would you say that a lot of women like him?
Starting point is 00:39:42 Yes. I would say, no, I'm telling you, that's what I'm saying. I listen to it. And I was like, I get it. Yeah, he's really good. I'm not sure if this was on that album, but I did hear this one. I've heard this one. Do you know this one?
Starting point is 00:40:01 Yeah, there's someone else on there, right? No. No? And there was something like he was singing about flowers, about his mom and something. A heart that's broke is a heart that's been lost. It's a supermarket flowers. That's it. This song gets me.
Starting point is 00:40:18 You're not telling you. You're not telling us anything. we know. No, Amy just goes, this song gets me. She was, she was like pitching herself with Ed Shearron right there. First time she ever heard it? Probably. No, I brought this song to the show like a couple Like, it reminds her mom. Yeah, like about how
Starting point is 00:40:34 I was shopping and I started crying in the middle of the store because of the lyrics. Oh. Years ago. Do you listen to the show? I just wondered. Like, you were here. I do sometimes. Yeah, I listen sometimes. I think we played all those songs in the show. And we played them in the dance party. Yeah. Dan and Shaveen came in and sang one of those songs. That's true. I did? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:52 And this is Ed on our show playing No way He was in here Stop You didn't know he came in and played on her show I don't remember I really don't remember that I remember he was gonna come one time
Starting point is 00:41:06 And then it got canceled No Wait no he came in and played here This is Ed playing Cruz Is this that parody version Or straight up yeah Yeah Baby you a song
Starting point is 00:41:14 You make me want to roam My windows down And cruise Down back roads Blown stop signs To the middle Every little fall time With you
Starting point is 00:41:24 With the bratsone new Chevy with a lift kick Look ahead of a lot better With you up in the So baby you're a song You make me want to hold my windows down And cruise I did a remix
Starting point is 00:41:36 Yeah we didn't need a parody after that Okay Well I just like it He actually I believe sat right beside you And played that Before we took you out of the interview space Because you were awkward When you would know how to look at them
Starting point is 00:41:47 When they played Yeah I think he sat right beside you Man Yeah That's crazy But yes new artist guys New artist guys
Starting point is 00:41:52 If you want to check him out His name is Ed Sheer he has arrived and let me tell you women you are going to melt So honey now There you have it His New Year's resolution Find new artists

Starting point is 00:42:25 Reba McIntyreiber McIers shared on Watch What Happens Live that she was forced to pass on the role of Molly Brown and Titanic because of her touring schedule. She says things were set and then the filming got behind and she couldn't move her tour schedule. She had to take care of her people. Jimmy Allen and class of 2019 artist Abby Anderson released their version of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's song Shallow from a Star is Born. Here's a clip.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Carrie Underwood's Old Tennessee Home is now on the market. The house is listed in Brentwood, Tennessee with four bedrooms. Jim, a game room, and more, all for $1.45 million. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. Oh, it's Bobby. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:43:25 This guy bought a young mom four new tires for a truck after overhearing her to tell auto shop staff that she couldn't afford them. Customers and staff at America's tire in California were blown away because $1,400 came from a complete stranger. Wow. According to this guy, Sergio, who saw the act. active kindness. A young woman was there for a flat tire repair, but they said, hey, the tire's too bald to fix. We can't patch it because it's bald.
Starting point is 00:43:53 She was like, man, I can't afford a new tire. And all our tires are bad. This guy goes up and I was like, hey, let me get these tires for you. Pay for them, jetted. That's awesome. Out the door. And he was like, hey, she was like, what can I do? And he was like, hey, just doing the knife for somebody else.
Starting point is 00:44:08 That's all. Love that. And they cool? That's what it's all about right there. That was tell me something good. This story comes to us from Pennsylvania. A woman was at the bowling alley, you know, throwing some strikes, throwing some spares, and she sees a pinball machine.
Starting point is 00:44:26 She goes, you know, I like pinball, goes and puts 50 cents in the machine. Only problem is it ate her quarters. And she got mad and she gave it a left. All right. And starts beating up the machine, causing $300 worth of damage. What about on her body? Like, I would think more like her muscles and her hands. Yeah, like that would cost more to fix your body.
Starting point is 00:44:46 She's bloody up her fists or? Oh, yeah, her fists were a little bruise and battered. She was arrested for vandalism. It's like people when they're playing football, and they start fist-fighting each other with helmets on. Right. You're like, what are you thinking? Like, there's only one move in that,
Starting point is 00:44:58 and that's grab their face mask and shove them all the way to the ground. But don't, like, hit them. Don't slap them with your hand. Yeah, that hurt. Yeah. Yeah. It's the pinball championships. Don't fight your pinball machine.

Starting point is 00:46:31 Okay. Three questions that guys generally would know, okay? Okay. General guy questions. Question number one. Conventional. High mileage. Synthetic.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Are types of what? Motor oil. Correct. I was going to say marijuana. What? Wow. Synthetic. Convention.
Starting point is 00:46:53 I mean, I... High mileage. That, except for that part. But then motor oil came to mind. By the way, we're playing a 10. Lunchbox is up 9 to 4. Yeah. Amy.
Starting point is 00:47:02 Yes. Guides. But cap. And real seat are all parts of what? Guides. A fishing boat! What? Fishing.
Starting point is 00:47:18 They're all part of fishing? I said boat. No, I just, why would you use? yell something like that. Do you know? No, but I'm excited because I think it's right. Oh, no. I thought you knew something I didn't. Well, you have a fishing guide.
Starting point is 00:47:31 You have a little seat. You sit in. What was that last one? A real seat? A real seat that you reel. I guess it doesn't make sense. But a guide would be a human. Anyway, I'm not right. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:47:40 It's all part of it. Lunchbox. What was the answer? Oh. He gets to steal it. Give me the things again. Guides, butt cap, and real seat are parts of what? But caps are definitely part of a bicycle.
Starting point is 00:47:54 A bicycle, no. It's actually a fishing pole. Shut up. Oh. Yeah. What is a butt cap? So close. I was so close.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Amy. Yeah. There are two NFL teams tied for the most Super Bowl wins ever. Name one of them. Patriots. Oh, wow. I'm going to say. You're kidding.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Tom Brady's got like eight rings. No, that's not true. It's not true. How many does he have seven? Six. Amy, we just said that. They only have six. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:21 All I heard is they're tied for the most. You got two. Okay, okay, okay. Lunchbox. Yep. Tunic, peasant, and camisole are types of what? This is equal to that fishing pole kind. Tunic?
Starting point is 00:48:43 One of these would give it away to me. Yeah. Say it again. Am I saying tunic? No hints, please. Sorry, I can't give you any hints. Tunic, peasant, or camisole. What types of what?
Starting point is 00:48:55 Um, makeup. Amy. Shirts. Can you be more specific? Um, wait, they're all tops? Mike. A camisole is like a tank top. A tunic is like, what?
Starting point is 00:49:13 A peasant is a button down. They can all be very different. More specific on shirts. Blouses, top. What do you think, Mike? They're all shirts. They're all stuff you wear on your upper body. No, no, shirts is right.
Starting point is 00:49:24 It's women's shirts. but this is a women's question. Oh, I don't know. You could rock a canvassol, Bobby. Oh, could I? Yeah. Yeah, you get it. For fun, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Pretty and Pink, 16 candles and the Breakfast Club are all movies starring what actress? Oh, Molly Ringwald? Correct. Wow. I've ever seen those. Before she was known for a comedy actress
Starting point is 00:49:44 Melissa McCarthy starred on this famous television series playing Sookie St. James for seven years. Oh, what was she in? She was super hot. hot. Say it again. Say it again. Say it again. Really?
Starting point is 00:50:05 You don't know, you don't think Jenny McCarthy's hot guys? He didn't say Jenny. You didn't say Jenny? I'm so dumb. The Vaughn chick? No. Am I missing something? Bobby, read the question. Before she was known for a comedy. Bobby, you're crying. Fonz your cry.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Actress Well Okay Go ahead Let's watch Before she was known for a comedy Actress Melissa McCarthy Oh
Starting point is 00:50:52 Oh Star Oh Start for seven years Um Wow It's funny He doesn't know
Starting point is 00:51:01 He's completely clueless Okay Sorry for it's so hard The guy just is clueless Oh man Go ahead It's uh It was on CBS
Starting point is 00:51:11 It came after two and a half man She was Mike and Molly No That's way later. Seven years she was in. You know what, Amy? 902 or no. Morgan number two?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Gilmore Girls. There you go. Really? Oh, she was at the bake, at the diner. Yeah. Shoot a monkey. There you have. Hey, there's Amy.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Who! Yes, I'm on fire. Nine to five now. Nine to five. Was she ever blonde, though? No, that's Jenny. Okay. Ginny McCartney was definitely blonde.
Starting point is 00:51:40 That's Jenny. Yes. Likewise confused. Melissa. My heart thing. I think they're related too, actually. Are they? Mike, are they related?
Starting point is 00:51:47 Mike D? They are? Mind blown. If that's true. Google that. Amy, nice win. Thank you. I'm waiting for my fact checker to see a five.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Oh, yeah. What? Cousins. Yeah, right? So I made sense you confuse them. Bobby Bones. I love country music. Oh, well, your country music's youngest historian.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Thank you. The Bobby Bones show. On this day in country music. 1998 on this day 21 years ago This story blows my mind I know we've mentioned it before But it's a historic day For the first time in history
Starting point is 00:52:25 The Grammy Awards nominated two artists For the same song in the same category Now it gets even crazier than that Trisha Yearwood And Leanne Rhymes We're both up For best female Country vocal performance
Starting point is 00:52:37 For How Do I Live? Okay, how do I live from Leon Rhymes How do I live from Trisha Yearwood? Do you know the story? Oh, your mind's about to be blown. Okay. That's a big deal. I mean, I don't remember the whole thing, but yeah, I think, I don't know, did Tricia talk about it?
Starting point is 00:52:56 Somebody talked about it at some point, and I remember we were like, what? The 40th Gramies took place 1998. So the big moment was when Trisha's, How Do I Live? How do I Live? How do I live? Now you may ask, how did they both end up cutting the same song? How did they both end up cutting the same song? I'll get to that in a second.
Starting point is 00:53:15 I'm glad you asked this because this is nuts. So Leanne Rhymes goes on the Grammy. and performs. Ladies gentlemen, Leanne Rhymes, gets up, How do I live, Leanne Rhymes? The next award
Starting point is 00:53:26 right after that, the Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance. Goes to Tricia Yearwood. The song was originally intended to release with Conair. Now, according to Leanne Rhymes, Diane Warrne wrote the song
Starting point is 00:53:43 with Leanne Rhymes in mind and promised it to Leanne Rhymes. The songwriter goes, Leanne Rhymes, this is for you. I'm giving it to you. Disney decided that Leon Rhyme's version was too poppy, and because she was only 14 years old,
Starting point is 00:53:55 she was too young to sing about what she was singing about and in that movie. So, Tricia Yearwood was ultimately chosen to re-record that song, doing it country. Both versions were released on the same day. Wow. Not really supposed to be. Yearwood's was released to country radio
Starting point is 00:54:15 and appeared in the film. Rhymes was like, I'm already cut this, I'm releasing it too. was released to pop radio peaked at number two and according to Tricia, you're what she was unaware of Leanne Rhymes' recording
Starting point is 00:54:27 prior to be an approach for the song. Wow. Quite the scandal and then they both are up for it. They both cut it and they both put it out. They make Leanne Rimes perform and then right after that
Starting point is 00:54:36 Tricia wins the award on the same stage. Thank you for the performance and the award goes too, not you. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? Amy, you remember both of those, right? Yes. I remember the Leanne Rhymes version more
Starting point is 00:54:49 because it was a humongous pop song but the Trishy one was in the movie That's crazy This is a good one, bud Why doesn't Leanne Rhyme sing anymore? Really? Anybody know? I didn't talk to her, no
Starting point is 00:55:03 No I don't know Century Music's a movie She's a lot of moms to sing About once every couple of years She'll pop through here And like open the door and yell like Googly googly boo!
Starting point is 00:55:15 And then she's gone And then we're like Well that's Nuddy It's Leanne Rines That's Leanne Rhymes, everybody. That's about it. I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:23 She doesn't live in Nashville. I don't think she's pursuing a country music career. Yeah. Let me ask you this. On the TV shows that she's on, is she presented as eccentric? Or no. The TV show she's on? Yeah, like when she was doing like Real Housewives or something.
Starting point is 00:55:37 Oh, that was Brandy. So she's with Brandy's ex. Yeah. So sometimes she was brought up in the show, but she wasn't really like a cast member. Oh, I think she's probably a pretty eccentric. personality. Brandy came off as nutso, so probably, I don't know Leanne's role in the
Starting point is 00:55:54 situation, but based on Brandy's craziness, she seems like the normal one. Okay, well, there you go. But she could be crazy, I don't know. But again, Leon, I was to pop her head and go go goo-goly, go, go! And then run out. It was the whole thing. That's today in country music. That's it. I like that. Is that good or no? A good one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:10 That was. On this day in country music. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So we've got a series of fresh prints, inspired children's books on the way from Will Smith. And it's called Fresh Princess. It'll be a series about this girl Destiny, who is cool, energetic, strong-willed,
Starting point is 00:56:30 and she approaches every day with her own signature style. That is, until she moves to a brand-new neighborhood where nothing looks quite the same as it did at her old house. West Philadelphia, was she born and raised? Yeah, the books, or the first book will be out April 2nd, and you can pre-order at HarperCollins.com for 1899. Oh, that's cool. That's my people. Harper Collins.
Starting point is 00:56:52 By the way, my paperback comes out. March 5th. Yeah. Pretty excited about that. You're going to be a paperback writer? Paperback rider. That's awesome. Well, if a book does well enough, it goes the paperback.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Wow, that's cool. Pretty excited about that. What else? So if your relationship needs a little tender loving care, then maybe all you need to do is watch a movie about relationships. For example, The Notebook, when Harry Met Sally, something like that, something that is about relationships and then after the movie have a deep discussion with your spouse
Starting point is 00:57:22 about it. I always love Hollywood setting my life standard. It's very healthy. No, things that come up in the movie you then talk about while you're on the couch, you're cuddled up. They're saying that this could be a replacement to couples therapy. Honey, we're going to save you. Money. I just can't quit you.
Starting point is 00:57:40 What happens up there that makes you think about us, honey? Okay. Well, hey, that was just a little tip. People can't afford counseling. Pop in a romantic. romantic movie, then talk about it afterwards. Go ahead. Okay, get this. Bobby, when the Arkansas
Starting point is 00:57:54 Razorbacks win a game, yes. How many days of happiness do you think that offers you? Depends how big the game. A big game until the next Saturday. Wow, a whole week? Is it a big game? Yeah, it's been a while.
Starting point is 00:58:09 But yeah. Well, apparently, when your favorite team wins a big game, it gives you a big boost of happiness and confidence for an entire two days. But if your team loses, it doesn't really affect your self-of-esteem. So you're down for an entire week?
Starting point is 00:58:26 No, but it does affect it. I mean, for a minute. Yeah. But not two days. Listen, we were playing Alabama a couple years ago. I took the whole band, the raging idiots. Oh, yeah. It makes me sick.
Starting point is 00:58:36 That was a bad night. It's a bad night because Alabama's the best. And I get to be on the sideline. Who in the world gets to be on the sideline? They let me get on the sideline. and we're getting crushed and ESPN keeps showing me on camera I don't even know it and I was like I hate life
Starting point is 00:58:49 and all of a sudden my friends are texting me like why he's so miserable here on the sideline I'm like Look at the score What you think? I was a sad guy on camera for a whole game Yeah but I feel like you shake it You shake it Yeah have I mean that was two years ago
Starting point is 00:59:01 How do I sound right now? I know it's not affecting your day to date He got back on the bus And went straight to the bunk I got back on the bus and trashed the bus Gosh it just makes me How much longer do we have till football starts back Got some time
Starting point is 00:59:13 It'll approach us before we know You have fall, September. August, like, pregame start. Okay, relax. I'm just wondering, because then my house gets tense. It just ended. The Cowboys have to win, and the University of Texas has to win. That's all I need to be happy.
Starting point is 00:59:31 No, I'm fine. It's my husband that gets affected. I'm Amy. That's a pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:59:45 So for the third year in a row, there's this high school senior named Ruby. So I mean, she started this when she was like a sophomore, maybe 15 years old. She started raising money to purchase blankets for the homeless. And this year, she was able to collect 400 wool blankets that were delivered to different organizations in the community, including different homeless shelters. And she says every year she plans to keep growing it and keep it going. She said she will do everything in her power next winter to ensure that this keeps happening. And then it gets bigger and bigger every year. You know this is so valuable, too.
Starting point is 01:00:19 I know. And it's just cool. She started this as a high schooler, and now she's a senior, and she's going to keep it going into her adult life. That's what it's all about. Yeah. That was Tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Let's go. Transmitting across America. Over to Amy with the corny. The morning corny. What was Beethoven's favorite snack? What was Beethoven's favorite snack? Banana-na-na-na. Banana-na, right?
Starting point is 01:01:00 Banana-na. Banana. Banana. However you say banana. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That would clap at him. Yeah, yeah, that's good. That was the morning corny.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Last night, Green Book wins best picture at the Oscars. And you saw it, huh? Saw it. It's so good and totally deserving in my mind. Where did you see it? I never even heard of it. I got on Amazon. I only heard of it because of the Oscars list. I wanted to at least watch some of the movies that were nominated. So I watched Green Book, A Star is Born, and Black Klansman.
Starting point is 01:01:34 Amazon has Green Book right now? Yes. For free? No, you had to pay for it. Oh, because everything on Amazon is free. No, it's not. You can rent or buy sometimes depending on what it is. But that's where we found it.
Starting point is 01:01:46 And you liked Green Book? I did. And I didn't know watching it the entire time. It was a true story. What's it about quickly? Okay. This guy that's a musician, he is black, African American, and he's got a white driver from New York, and he wants to take a tour through the South, so he hires this driver that can, like, handle things
Starting point is 01:02:06 because he's, it's in a time of segregation, so he wanted to have someone with him that could handle the situation. And it just was cool to see them come from two different places, but bond and then how they got through the trip. It's about their journey through the South and then back to New York and it's cool. You loved it, huh? Oh, yeah, I watched it again. Like, it gave me all the feels, especially at the end when I realized that the musician and the driver, they were real people. And then. That musician, Machine Gun, Kelly, the rapper.
Starting point is 01:02:37 No, but it was just special to watch. And, I mean, it gave you all the feels. Like, there were times where you were mad and sad and happy and frustrated just because how things were or how things still can be. Well, the award shows come and go. They're for a, you know, a quick pop. We check things out. Like the Grammys. They're over.
Starting point is 01:02:55 Who cares, right? The war shows come and go, it doesn't matter. Last night, though, I'll say that what I thought was cool was the music part of the show. It was the best part of the Oscars. Because a lot of the movies I didn't know. When Gaga and Bradley Cooper did Shallow... In the Shah! In the Shia La La La La La La.
Starting point is 01:03:17 I thought it was good, except for they shot it totally weird. Like, I was watching them from behind for the... first quarter of the performance. And I was supposed to watch these two make out with each other. You know, because it's all that close. And then they came around to the side and you're watching like, her, look at her ears piercings. It just took forever. It was like
Starting point is 01:03:35 the director was like, all right, we're going to really build up to this. First of all, we're going to show the back of their heads. America's going to love it. And when America sees the back of their heads, they're going to be like, this is true. And I was like, get to the front of the, I want to see how they're secretly like doing it, you know? Did you guys? Now, I want to see if they're secretly like doing it, you know? Did you guys? Now, I was, now, When I say back at that, can you picture the cameras being from behind them the whole time?
Starting point is 01:03:55 Yes. Yes. That didn't annoy you guys? Yeah, a little bit. The part that annoyed me was when she stood at the beginning and then awkwardly got to the piano. Like, it was like, okay, it's time for me to go to the piano now. And she, like, goes to the piano. It was weird.
Starting point is 01:04:08 That being said, I thought it was good. Yes. I was smiling so big the whole time because, again, had I not watched a stars born probably like an hour before the Oscars, I don't think I would have been as connected to that performance. But having seen the movie and then watching that, Both my husband and I were like, wow, this is so good. I mean, Lady Gaga carries him through this. Yes, but that's okay.
Starting point is 01:04:28 But Lady Gaga is so good, she can carry anybody through it. I thought it was good. I just thought it was shot weird. And I didn't see anybody talking about that. I was like, is this like bring your kid to work day and the kid gets to pick how to shoot this thing? Okay, now that you say it, I do think maybe it was a little weird, but at the time. And then Bradley Cooper's girlfriend's in the crowd and they never went to her face.
Starting point is 01:04:47 I just wanted him to cut away to her. Oh, yeah. They never did. Because him and Lady Gaga, they have such good chemistry that I was buying it. I was like, they're about to, they're together. They're together. Can I give you an example of why I don't think that's true? I know they're not.
Starting point is 01:04:59 I don't know they're not. I don't know. And I don't know they haven't been. We don't know, right? I know what you're going to say. Two things. Two things. One, I would like to bring up Sharna, my dance partner and I from Dancing with the Stars.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Amazing chemistry. Never did anything. Great chemistry. Hands all. We had to work super close. Right. And so physically, we had great chemistry. because she just made me.
Starting point is 01:05:21 There was no option. Two, Amy and I, not so much physical, but in every other way. We've been together so long. Wow, you're comparing us to the Bradley Cooper Lady Gaga for us. I am because people have always thought, especially early on, that we were secretly together. And, like, I'm my best friend. And when you, you know, sometimes we'll be like, hey, good morning. We'll spin each other's mouth just to be like, p.
Starting point is 01:05:43 Oh, really? Yeah. Wow. That's close. But from across the room. Yeah. My point is, just because they look it and their actors, doesn't mean it's real.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Yeah, they're acting. I've had two women in my life that I've had great chemistry with professionally that people thought we were romantic. We all thought you were romantic. Amy, but you guys still think. No, no, you don't. And then Sharna, what everyone thought. So I did talk to Sharnia yesterday for like an hour.
Starting point is 01:06:06 How is she? She's in Australia judging, Dancing with the Stars, Australia. That's awesome. And she says everyone still thinks that we're together. People message her all the time. She posted a thing on her into story of Up. And whenever they're young and Up, the guy looks like me, the big glasses.
Starting point is 01:06:22 And then the girl's redhead, and she was posting that on her Instagram. And she was like, everyone thought she was posting like a secret message that we were together. Why is everything got to be so cryptic? I know. And then Sharon and I on Instagram story saying this. I thought this was fantastic.
Starting point is 01:06:39 All jokes aside, I thought the performance was really good. We got to stop with three hour shows. We got to. I'm going to. I can't wait until they move over. to a streaming service, and you can actually pick the bookmark of the spot that you want to go to and see what you want to see.
Starting point is 01:06:55 Oh, like you could say, I want to see Best Picture. Well, everything's going to be on demand. Period. I used to fight you on this a little bit way back in the day when you talked about movie theaters dying. And I was, but now when you have ideas and you say stuff, I'm like, he's probably right. That's probably exactly what's going to happen. Thank you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:13 Thank you very much. Wow. I think we had a big breakthrough. First sound ridiculous. Let me just say this then. La la la la la la Oh, so good And I mean that movie's so good
Starting point is 01:07:30 We can talk about that Okay Who saw stars born? I saw it Eddie saw it Did you see it? No, I haven't seen it No, I haven't seen it
Starting point is 01:07:38 It's been it Okay so at least Mike Okay five of us have seen it We'll come back and get to that in a second Okay People are texting in saying this shot That Lady Gaga
Starting point is 01:07:49 Bradley Cooper song last night Like the movie And it's why it was shot like that. I don't care. I'm not trying to watch the movie on the Oscars. Show me their faces. If it's going to be a movie, dress him up like he did in the movie. Dress her up like he did the movie. If we're going to shoot the movie, show me the movie. Come out in characters.
Starting point is 01:08:05 Have, what's their name, Bet Miller, come out in a penguin costume, like Mary Penguins. Poppins. Poppins. Whatever, she was good. She looked great, too. She was in her 70s. No kidding. I couldn't believe it. Is there a penguin in Mary Poppins? I don't think so. I don't think so. I don't know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 01:08:22 Happy Feet. I thought Remy Mollick gave a great speech last night. That was good. I guess I missed that. He's the guy from Mr. Robot. Yeah. I didn't see him. Did you see Bohemian Rhapsody?
Starting point is 01:08:33 No. Anybody see Bohemian Rhapsody? Not yet. Yeah. You're good. That's what you say. It's fine. I'm going to watch it anyway, though.
Starting point is 01:08:40 What did you think of a star is born? I thought it was so good. I had all the feels. I was totally connected. And I almost didn't want to. I, how many stars is there? Five stars.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Wow. I loved it. And it was so built up and I hyped it back down. Four stars. Is there? Yeah. Whatever. Okay, so however many stars there are, they're all born.
Starting point is 01:09:07 Oh, you both all the stars. Four stars. Four stars. I know that it was hyped up so I had to hype it back down so that I had my expectations weren't too high, but I thought it was so good. I give it three out of four stars. Okay. I thought it was good.
Starting point is 01:09:22 I thought it was actually really good. But I wouldn't say it was just great. But it was long. But it was good. And the music was fantastic in it. Pretty sure you saw it? Yeah. I'd say three out of four.
Starting point is 01:09:33 I'm a music fan, so I love that aspect. It's like a musical. It's pretty much a musical. I've seen all three versions of this movie, though. I've seen the real old one and then the 70s one. So I knew the storyline, so it wasn't as effective to me. Oh, okay. So, like, with a big part that everyone's like, oh, it's crazy, I already knew.
Starting point is 01:09:50 So Morgan number two, you're 25. What you think about this? Too long? Not 60 seconds for Instagram. It was a little long. I'd give it 3.5 stars. It was like right up there. But it was a little long and it was a little rough in the filming in some areas.
Starting point is 01:10:05 So it was kind of hard to watch. A little rough in the filming. Filming, right? Like there's just sometimes where it was like documentary style. So I was kind of like, wait, what's happening? But it was really good. And all I got to say is the dog. Without giving anything away, the dog killed me.
Starting point is 01:10:19 I don't know about the dog. His dog is super cute and fun fact. It was his actual real dog. Oh, I remember that now. Yeah. Yeah. And it is a super cute dog. Mike D,
Starting point is 01:10:27 how many stars do you give a stars born? I would give it three. I think it was a little overhype, but still a really good movie. Wow. It's good. No, Amy, I said a great member she'd ever seen.
Starting point is 01:10:36 No. She didn't give a five. Yeah. It's fresh to me. I just watched it yesterday for the first time. It's good. And then I saw Bradley and Gaga perform at the Oscars. Nine stars, I say.

Starting point is 01:14:22 APUS. Dot E.D.U. Slash military. Play two stand-up shows in Iowa is my last two shows of the whole tour. It was great. It snowed like crazy. I didn't know if we were getting in.
Starting point is 01:14:36 I don't know if we were getting out. Luckily, both happened. So it was good. Did a show Friday. and Saturday night at Riverside Casino. It's great, and it was the first time that I had played the emoji love song from The Raging Idiots. We got that
Starting point is 01:14:48 emoji love, whoa. And again, that's a raging idiot's song, but I had my guitar, and I thought, well, let's see if anybody knows it. I only been out one day. Do you want to hear me play live? Just a little bit. Yes.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Just a bit. I was a little nervous, though, because I go, what if they don't know it? What if they don't sing it? We got that emoji love. Emoji. How about that? Huh?
Starting point is 01:15:24 Yeah. They knew this song. That's cool. Yeah, that's cool. We have a new song from our band The Raging Idiots. By the way, number one
Starting point is 01:15:33 in Belgium. Over there, it's huge. I don't know if you guys know this. We're such a big smasher. And it's finally up on iTunes and Spotify, places like that.
Starting point is 01:15:44 Because we didn't know how to push the button last week, but if you want to download it, you can. But here you go. Emoji Love song from The Raging Idiots.
Starting point is 01:15:49 We're playing Boston on the 17th March, Ragingidates. com. Here you go. Enjoy it, folks. Hey, I'll send you a cake. And when I'm lonely, I'll send you the big egg plan.
Starting point is 01:16:12 Hey, you up. We got that emoji love. Flash. I'll send you that. We got that emoji love. There you go. The newest one from The Raging Idiots, Emoji Love, the jam. America, can't stop talking about it.
Starting point is 01:17:42 By America, I mean me. We got that emoji. There it is. Kindergarteners wearing makeup. Kids as young as six are being targeted by makeup companies. I got a wonder. Your daughter is 11? 11, yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:00 What's her deal with makeup? She doesn't want anything to do with it. She doesn't even really like when I wear it. She's like, why do you put that on your face? Why do you think that is? Because she came from another country? She's not used to seeing people with makeup. No.
Starting point is 01:18:12 At the orphanage, none of the nannies wore makeup. She wasn't around anybody that wore makeup. So probably plays a role. And she's still young. I mean, she's 11, but still she's probably not really an 11-year-old that's grown up in America. I would say when it comes to getting used to everything, she's probably more like 8 or 9 years old. The kid's beauty market is expanding as makeup is being promoted as a new play culture for young females. What do you think about that?
Starting point is 01:18:41 I mean, I loved playing with makeup when I was a kid. again, something my daughter was not exposed to. She didn't get, she didn't grow up, like, getting to go into mom's makeup drawer and trying to play with stuff. And I love putting it on. My mom let me play with it, but I never wore it to school probably till like eighth grade. Felicia in Alabama? Yes. What are you thinking about this?
Starting point is 01:19:00 I let my, she just turned 11. However, she was 10 when she was wearing it. I let her wear makeup. She'll wear it to school and when we go out and stuff. But as far as her being kindergarten or wear it, I wouldn't have let her do that. But you would let your 10-year-old wear makeup out? Yes, she does wear it out. We, you know, we've done, like, local beauty pageants and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:19:24 So she knows makeup, and she actually watches a lot of tutorials and stuff. So she actually knows how to do her makeup really well. I make her tone it down. I bet that's the thing, though, now that we didn't have is these YouTube tutorials. Right, like, no, like Kylie Jenner contouring and stuff. Yes. Now, Felicia, thank you for that call. Hey, Megan, or excuse me, Morgan in Oklahoma.
Starting point is 01:19:48 Hi. What do you think? Other than Halloween, I wouldn't let my daughter wear makeup until maybe high school, and then she has the freedom to express herself. High school, meaning 10th grade? Ninth, 10th grade, around there. Other than Halloween, no makeup. I mean, y'all, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:20:08 My mom, I don't know what she was thinking. I know Pretty Woman was one of my favorite movie. But I'm thinking of one time where I played with pair of makeup and I dressed up. And I didn't know what I was doing, but I dressed up in like, you know, pantyhoes and high heels and put on tons of makeup. And I walked up and down my street. From the movie. I know. I know, but I'm like, I definitely played with dressing up and makeup.
Starting point is 01:20:32 And really, I didn't understand what I was doing. But I keep thinking, like, where was my mom? Megan and Texas. Where was she? Yes. What do you think? Well, my daughter's five, and I just dropped off at kindergarten, and she is wearing makeup, and I don't feel a problem with me. Wow.
Starting point is 01:20:48 What kind of makeup may we ask? Well, she's wearing eye shadow, and she put a little bit of mascara, but I helped her with it because she says she loves wearing pretty colors, and if it matches her clothes, and she's going to school, then she's happy, then she's fine. Yeah. So do you think right now it's, like, cute and playful, but then there will be a period in between, like, now and, like, now and, high school that you might be like, ooh, probably should hold off on the makeup? I mean, maybe when she gets older, she'll probably want to wear, like, full makeup. But I'm going to make sure that she knows that it's okay. Because she doesn't do it, like some kids say, oh, because I want to do it because I want to be beautiful.
Starting point is 01:21:30 But she only does it because she says, I like pretty colors and it matches my clothes. And I'm going to make sure she stays along those lines. Five years old. Too young for makeup every day, Amy. Yes. I think so. Morgan number two? Yeah, I think so. Parenting chambers. No, I'm not shame.
Starting point is 01:21:48 But no judgment. I just wouldn't. I would be like, oh, I don't want you to wear that every day. And then I don't know. I think of like weird those that might be into that. Lunchbox? I don't see a problem with it. Look, I mean, if you're going to let them wear it when they're 10,
Starting point is 01:22:02 what's the difference when they're 5? I mean, it's makeup. It's the same thing. It's signifying the same thing. It's just colors on their face and they want to play with it. Well, there's a difference in 5 and 10. in many ways. There's a difference in just playing with colorful things
Starting point is 01:22:15 and then wearing it every single day. Hey, Megan, thank you for the call. I appreciate that. You can add more to our Facebook page. Go over and follow us Bobby Bone Show on Facebook. We appreciate that. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:22:27 Stay home, it's nothing good. Firefighters in Florida got one of those, Help, I'm falling and I can't get up. Call, so they respond and they find this old lady and it was an actually false alarm. She accidentally hit the button. So they're talking to her hanging out. making sure she's okay and they notice
Starting point is 01:22:45 man your microwave's broken she goes yeah I get my meals for meals on wheels sometimes they're frozen so I can't heat them up so firefighters leave they're like man we can't leave that lady without a microwave they go to the store buy her microwave buy her groceries come back install the microwave and they cook her dinner
Starting point is 01:23:02 and eat dinner with her that's cool love it yeah that's good man that's really good that's what's all about right there that was tell me something good folks it's your buddy and mine Mr. Bobby Bones. The Oscars were last night, and I think the moment of the show was Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga doing shallow. There's a pretty cool version that Jimmy Allen and Abby Anderson did.
Starting point is 01:23:39 Jimmy Allen has that song Best Shot, and Abby Anderson's one of the class of 2019. I have Jimmy on the phone right now. Hey, dude. Hey, what's up, bro? What's that? Hey, where are you right now? Man, I am in California right now. When do you get home?
Starting point is 01:23:52 I'll fly back I'll just fly back today Okay let me ask you a question Would you and Abby come up tomorrow morning And play your version of Shallow on our show tomorrow? Yeah man Let's make that happen That'd be cool
Starting point is 01:24:07 Yeah so you and Abby will come up and play tomorrow for sure Listen if you're tired You know we can make it next month or something Man we can do it I just go to the gym about like 5 a.m. Oh yeah My voice up All right
Starting point is 01:24:21 Hey, do you know Ramundo said he watches you, bench press sometimes? Yeah, I actually ran in time at the gym and I was like, how's my hoodie treating you, bro? Oh, that's right. That's right. You stole Jimmy Allen's shirt last night. Yeah, and I've been wearing it too because it's been in the 40s. Yeah, but will you bring it back to him tomorrow? If he wants, he can have it.
Starting point is 01:24:38 Do you want it back, Jimmy? No, it's how I can keep it. All right. All right, tomorrow morning Jimmy Allen and Abby Anderson will come in and play shallow. Love it. It's up, too. You can, like, stream it, download it. All right, cool.
Starting point is 01:24:49 See you tomorrow, Jimmy. Thanks for waking up, man. I see you tomorrow. I see it. There is. Jimmy Allen. I have a story about men and women. I think that you'll probably understand.
Starting point is 01:24:58 Don't know that you'll like it so much. So there's the whole thing about who men are attracted to and who women are attracted to. And what ages, okay? A new study found that as women get older, the men they're attracted to get older to. Women like men, the same age. Right? So, Amy, how old are you? 37.
Starting point is 01:25:18 So you'd pretty much find someone like 30. 35 to 42. Still attractive. Yes. However. Great. I know where you're going with this. No, it's what science says.
Starting point is 01:25:29 Not me. No matter how old men get, they find the most attractive women are between 20 and 24. It has to stop at some point. 20 can't, 20. I don't, when you're 50 or 60, you're going to think a 20-year-old's attractive. Doesn't that seem a little weird? Science says, you know, and who are we to argue with science? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:54 No one. Yeah. 20 seems weird to me. 20 seems like a kid. What did McConaughey say in that movie? Oh. They get older. I get older.
Starting point is 01:26:01 I get older. I get older. I get older. I get older. Yeah. That's what you like. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:05 Apparently there's only one gender that understands the concept of age appropriate dating. That's the female gender. Wow. Yeah. I mean, I'm not shocked by this science you bring us today. We're so shallow. Shalla-l-l-l-la-la-la. Or is it, just let me throw this at you.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Is it that men are biologically attracted to who can create the most babies, the fastest? That could be it because they're more fertile. Yes. They have the young eggs. Listen, you're looking at me right now. I'm 38, right? If I'm going to date somebody, I'm going to date somebody they can have kids. Yes.
Starting point is 01:26:43 There are 38-year-old women that can have your babies. But there's not 55-year-old women that can have babies. My point. Right. There's not, you know, 47. It's going to be tougher at 47 to have kids. When you're 55, if you wait, day age appropriate.
Starting point is 01:26:55 It's going to be more difficult. I'm saying even now. Yeah. You know, I could date somebody 45, but it's going to be harder for them to have babies. They can. There's some. Sure. But it's harder to have a baby at 45 than it is at, you know, 29.
Starting point is 01:27:08 Yeah, it's like a geriatric pregnancy. That's right. Like, even if I were to get pregnant right now, I think it's, and I'm 37, I think it's, like, geriatric. Are you guys still trying? I mean, we're not, not trying. We don't, I don't, I'm not on anything, you know? But is it still like, maybe? Like, do you check every month going, all right, maybe I'm pregnant?
Starting point is 01:27:26 No, I gave that up a long time ago. Are you kidding? And right now, if I already get pregnant, I would seriously say, like, is this a joke? Maybe a good, beautiful joke. No, because I've got two kids now. It's enough. They say that if you turn on Rosetta Stone and you're asleep, you can learn Spanish while you're sleeping. That sounds amazing.
Starting point is 01:27:44 Right, right. Now, this is not a commercial, by the way, because I took Rosetta Stone and tried to take it awake. Yeah. You had the headset and everything. You were in. Well, I would sit there. I know. You were all in.
Starting point is 01:27:53 I'd strap that thing on, look at my computer, and be like, Amadillo. What does that mean? There we go. Yeah, I know some of it. Azul. But I'm telling you what would have red, but I'm telling you. Blue. Rojo is red.
Starting point is 01:28:08 Blanco. White. But I'm telling you what would happen is all my friends were either Hispanic or Mexican when I lived in Texas. See. Yeah. And so I would learn way more Spanish just hanging out with these guys. And so, but I would, because I just wanted to know things. I wanted to be hanging out.
Starting point is 01:28:23 and be like, you know, say something cool. But then it wouldn't work. It just turned it on while I go to sleep. That's what it says. I mean, if that were the case, I would study every night. According to researchers, listening to the language while you sleep makes you learn it faster. It's easy to assume that while you're sleeping, your brain just shuts down. That's not the true.
Starting point is 01:28:41 Not the truth. The experiments, they did, said that a lot of times people remember words that they learned while they slept without knowing that I actually knew the words. Now, they didn't take the whole language in, but it did help a lot. Okay. So you still have to study during the day? It's not just like a sleepy time. I tell you, I would buy this headset and I'd flip it up, I put the screen in, the little disc even.
Starting point is 01:29:00 I think it was a disc. Yeah, like a CD ROM. And then I would, I did pretty good in lesson one. Lesson two, it got a little tough. Oh, yeah. Lesson three, I was out of it, man. It was like they had dropped me in the middle of Mexico. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:11 And so, it was tough. And I bought it in the mall because that guy got me. From the key-offs? Yeah, yeah. He's like, he's like, hey, pst, come here, buddy. I was like, yeah, what's up there? kind fellow, stand in the mall. You want to learn language?
Starting point is 01:29:26 I was like, yeah, I sure would. Right away, Roseetta Stone. Come on, get you hooked up. I took a lesson in the kiosk. Oh, you did? Oh, it was easy. I nailed it. And he was like, that's one of the hardest lessons.
Starting point is 01:29:38 If you can learn this, you can learn the whole language in a week. He got you. And I was like, dang. And so I took it. And then I just kind of petered out. Yeah. I got it, and then it's hard. And I don't think I took French to in college.
Starting point is 01:29:53 had a French minor and I did fine it was the only college course I made a C in but why not struggle for that C too because the rest were A's and B's but I remember going to my teacher
Starting point is 01:30:02 in French and pulling them aside after class going listen man I'd never done this before but I'm never going to speak French again and if I get a D I can't live in the honors dorm
Starting point is 01:30:13 and I can't be an honors graduate so I'm appealing to you as one Francie to the next you got to hook it up you got to help me out and all I know is I got my report card or whatever you call it in college. That's all you had to do?
Starting point is 01:30:27 And it was a C, because I was trying as hard as I could. What? Okay. I thought he gave you a nay. No. Yeah, me too. Like, wow. I was like, wow.
Starting point is 01:30:36 That's it? Are you sure? No, no, but I was like, I'm trying so hard as I can. You see me trying. I go in a study. A lot of the people have lived in France. I never got to go abroad. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:46 That's what rich people did. They went and lived abroad or studied abroad. I had to work. I couldn't leave my job waiting tables or working at the radio station. I had to work. You could have worked at La Madeline or whatever. Yeah. Some French bakery.
Starting point is 01:30:57 You go into the bathroom and they're like, parley vu francis. Comsee, comsat. I love La Madeline. Good call. I had to spend all my breaks in the bathroom at La Madeline. All right, guys, I'm going to take a 15er. I was going to sit on the toilet and learn French.
Starting point is 01:31:10 But yeah, you can apparently listen to these programs while you sleep in it as help you a little bit. Hey, Randy in Wisconsin. How are you? Good. I can't believe. that I'm on there. We can't. We're happy.
Starting point is 01:31:27 Yeah. There you go ahead. The emoji love song. Okay, go ahead. I'm sorry. We were clapping over the top. You say that again? My kids just love the emoji love song.
Starting point is 01:31:36 They asked me to play it several times today. And they just dance around like maniacs. And they love singing it and making little emoji faces all day. They asked me to look up all the emojis. We haven't looked up the egg plant. Oh, yeah. See, here's the thing with that lyric. By the way, the raging idiots, Eddie and myself have a new song called The Emoji Love Song.
Starting point is 01:31:56 There's so many songs about whiskey. Like, give me a break country music. Let's stop writing about whiskey. Let's write about how people really communicate love now. They're emojis. Yeah. So we wrote this song and we made a lyric about the eggplant emoji, which to some people could just meet a vegetable. Yeah, that's what we told them.
Starting point is 01:32:13 Yeah, good. Yes. So it's just about vegetables and loving vegetables. Correct. That's what we said. We said, I just want you to eat a lot of good food. That's right. Eat your veggies.
Starting point is 01:32:21 It's good stuff. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, there's you go ahead, go ahead. And so they just, they love it. My son's getting ready for school right now, and he just, you know, before he was getting ready, he said, can you just play it again? And so I played it. He danced around and sings it all and just loves it. Well, it's now available to stream and it's up on iTunes and Apple Music. And I was surprised that people want to play it in Iowa, knew the words.
Starting point is 01:32:47 People held up emoji signs, didn't they? Oh, wow. They all brought little emojis on sticks. I'm doing a stand-up show and they held up the end up. That's awesome. This could be our first massive hit. Even Amy and Morgan number two don't hate it. Yeah, we like it.
Starting point is 01:32:58 We already sing along. It's a big deal. Yeah, it is a big deal. Hey, thank you for the call. I appreciate that, Randy. Thank you. And I'm at the risk of, like, annoying people by playing it. But you know what I say about that, Amy?
Starting point is 01:33:08 Who cares? Who cares? Yeah. Emoji love song from The Raging Idiots. It's only a minute and 40 seconds, too. I send a smile if it's your birthday, I'll send you a cake. Happy birthday. And when I'm lonely, I'll send you the.
Starting point is 01:33:28 Big Eggplan We got that Emoji love Whoa The flashing game I'll send you the face With the top That I'd send you the
Starting point is 01:34:22 We got that Emuji Love I think when we play that at the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow night Oh That'll be a hit Well so I'm going and I'm doing stand-up But like I'm done touring Stand-up
Starting point is 01:35:03 So I go out and do like half a set And then it's not a surprise because they won't care, but Eddie's going to come out. I'm not saying that in a bad way. But they're not going to be like, there's Eddie. Wow, we were wondering if he was coming or not. Because even me, they're like, who?
Starting point is 01:35:17 Oh, the Opry, really? Not all of them, but some of them, you know. The crowd's from like six years old to 600, right? Correct. So it's an awesome. And they're from all over. Yes. Sometimes it's like a Scandinavian going, oh, who did this guy?
Starting point is 01:35:30 Yeah. It's very, that's why the opera is great. I can go try anything. And it's just working toward people. that don't care anything about me. If it works, it means it's great. So I'm doing stand-up tomorrow, and then Eddie's going to come out,
Starting point is 01:35:41 and we're going to play. But also, Kelsey Ballerini, you'll be there, Brother Osborne. It's going to be a packed show. Oh, that's a good night. Yeah. They got a weird playing around us. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:48 The pressure's on. For them. Yeah. So we're going to... That's a good lineup for your date, too. Well, I'm glad you bring that up. Let's get to that. So,
Starting point is 01:35:57 two weeks ago, I was flying over to tape some American Idol. And I didn't know that she was flirting with me. She still may not have been. I don't know, but I didn't have my glasses on. And sometimes I just kind of stare. I have my glasses on because I can't see.
Starting point is 01:36:13 I'm kind of like, what's happening up there? And so she does this thing with her fingers, where she does. Her eyes, my eyes, my, you know, that thing, the two fingers. Right. And so I don't think much of it. And this older guy next to me goes, I think she's flirting with you. And I was like, really?
Starting point is 01:36:27 She's cute too. And like, you know, 2930, something like that. Yeah. What? Bonus. Well, no, I'm just saying. It sounds like 20, like that last story we're talking about. And so we're going, you know, going out, I'm like, man, how do I talk to her with all these people around me?
Starting point is 01:36:44 And I don't want to be the goobie hitting on the flight attendant in front of everyone. And I'm just not smooth. Like, there's not a bone in my body that's like, hey, baby, let me show you how big daddy does it. It's like Urkel. Yeah. Yeah, more than it's like Stefan Urkel, it's like Steve Urkel, straight up. And so I give her a napkin, and I go, I fold it up, and I hand it to her. It says, you know, my Instagram name, a little note.
Starting point is 01:37:10 And so these listeners that we have tracked the flight, the crew, found her, which by the way, a little bit psycho. But you know what, whatever. Sometimes they love psychotic things happen. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a love between me and the listeners and listeners and me. A little bit psycho. So she messages me not really knowing what the show was about. I was like, hey, she lives in, you know, very.
Starting point is 01:37:36 way out west. And I was like, well, and she's like, well, I can get a layover in Nashville for, you know, five or six hours. And I was like, great. So she's coming in tomorrow night. And we are going to go out as of now. I mean, the only thing that I have is like this allergy thing happening. You know, I don't want to be. That is a bummer.
Starting point is 01:37:56 I know. I don't be, hey, baby. Hello. Kermit T, bones here. I think it should be okay because I've gotten a lot better over the last couple days. Yeah. How do I sound right now? Fine.
Starting point is 01:38:09 And then grade it like on a percentage one to a hundred. Tomorrow you'll sound even, one to a hundred. Yeah, like. You sound 80. I got on a roll. It's good. Yeah. And you've even gotten better.
Starting point is 01:38:20 Like with the start of this morning, I'd have put you at 70. Okay. So you're getting, by tomorrow you'll be good. So, and it's just allergies. So, but that being said, she's going to come. And since it's the only night she's here and I'm playing the opery, I'm going to take her to the opery. And then it's if I bomb, because I bomb, because I bomb.
Starting point is 01:38:36 recently at the opera. My guitar broke. I was like, well, the whole act I had just went out the window. And I kind of had to kind of vamp a bit and kind of go and find some old jokes back in the old archive of the brain. So I need to do a good job. And if I do a good job, she probably be like, ooh, Popeye.
Starting point is 01:38:52 And if she doesn't, then it probably won't be. So that's what's going to happen. Oh, Popeye. Because he saves olive oil. Yeah. She's always like, oh, Popeye. Anyway. You just, that's what you're looking for to be somebody's Popeye. I would love for a woman to think I'm masculine and strong and tough.
Starting point is 01:39:09 Because they don't. I went out with the girl recently. Not super recently, but kind of recently. And I don't think that she thought there was one ounce of manliness in me. Yeah. Don't just say yeah or say no. We're like, no, she's wrong. We get that.
Starting point is 01:39:24 Back in the day, you were a man. I'm just. Back in the way day. Back in the day when you had to work, you know. I'm just thin and nerdy. Manual labor. And I don't think she really got my sense of humor. I told you guys about that part of it.
Starting point is 01:39:39 Yeah, that's weird. I don't know. You're usually on with that. No, no, I was on. I was nailing this together. So maybe she just didn't have a sense of humor? No, I can't put it on her. It just didn't match.
Starting point is 01:39:52 Sometimes things just don't match. And also I would like track and look at, like, you can go through people's Instagrams. And don't act like you guys don't insta-stock, but don't judge me. Wait, but tell, I don't know what you were saying you did. No, I didn't like print the people. I didn't like print the pictures out and do a beautiful mind drawing things. Yeah, because we don't do that. But like a...
Starting point is 01:40:10 It was like really hot, big buff dudes. Oh, that she's gone out with before. Yeah, I'm not her tired. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. Unless you like thin guys who are hilarious with bad vision, it just, you know, it's just not for me. Not for you.
Starting point is 01:40:29 That's funny. You went back and stalked previous boys. Everybody stalks. Don't act like I'm the only one who. Then you compared yourself to them. Again, I'm human. Yeah, maybe she's not looking for that anymore. She's like, she's looking for, no?
Starting point is 01:40:43 I don't think so. So, it really wasn't bad. Like the time, it wasn't bad. But then I was like, eh, I don't think she was into me, so I didn't call her back. And what? Nothing. Okay. I'm just excited for the, we have to wait till Wednesday.
Starting point is 01:40:56 No, I mean, tomorrow, we have to wait till tomorrow night. And then Wednesday, we have to wait for the update. And then you might be like, I'm not ready to share yet. This is about her and this is her life. That's why I don't, listen, I have a rule. I don't talk about other people unless, one, they're totally down with it. If they're a celebrity, who cares, they put their life out there. Or two, they're totally down with it.
Starting point is 01:41:20 Or three, only talking about me, right? So people sometimes be like, why don't you talk about your sister? Because it's her life. I don't throw her into anything. She doesn't want to be talking about. I won't talk about her. We're not super close anyway. And then again, it's like, I don't want to talk about her.
Starting point is 01:41:33 She doesn't want to be talked about. It's not part of the show. So, you know, that happens. Yeah. So that, there you go. That being said. All right, Eddie, snap a pick. No, I don't do that.
Starting point is 01:41:43 Oh, yeah. You're going to get to meet her. I know. I know. I thought I've been thinking about this. FaceTime us. But you've already seen her Instagram. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:41:50 Oh, you have? I don't know what she looks like at all. Well, I think only I have. Hold on. Pull her up, bones. Hold on, Eddie. Pull her up. Pull her up.
Starting point is 01:41:59 No, stop it. Stop it. We'll do it during the break. Oh, okay. That being said, you want to hear a joke that I tried out this weekend in Iowa? I don't think I can do it at the Opry tomorrow. And it's not, I don't think I have... Is it dirty?
Starting point is 01:42:11 No. You want to hear a joke? Because it's not totally perfect. And I don't know if they would get it at the Opry because it's so new. Okay. And then again, it's not going to be right on. But it's like, hey, if you ever come to Nashville, it's pretty cool. You can see all kinds of things like Brett Eldridge out walking his dog.
Starting point is 01:42:27 Maybe you see Keith Urban out playing his guitar. Or maybe you walk around. You see Miranda Dumbent Salad on his head. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I like that. Okay, but I don't know that people, I don't know that that's too. And it's the offrey too.
Starting point is 01:42:40 I don't know that it's too new. And like, yeah, did they know? Like, maybe try a local restaurant. Miranda Lambert's down with salads on heads. Yeah. I don't know if that's it. We all know. I mean, we all like it.
Starting point is 01:42:50 We're right in the middle of it. What about like you can marry Miranda Lambert? I'm just kidding. I just kidding. I just kidding. I'm just brainstorming. Brainstorming. Oh.
Starting point is 01:43:02 Eddie. We're just spitball with you. Just throwing it out. That's funny, dude. There's something there, bones. There's something there. All right. That's enough for now.
Starting point is 01:43:14 Moving on. Or maybe you can't even marry Miranda Lambert. There's a lot of things you can do in Nashville. You can check out the Frost Bank building. A lot of people do that. Maybe walk down Broadway, even more people do that. Or what most people do, marry Miranda Lambert. Isn't that...
Starting point is 01:43:29 Isn't that... It's good. It's good I would never And I like Miranda Of course we do But that's just a public story Yeah
Starting point is 01:43:39 Dude we just heard a pretty funny joke Right here Live Live This is how jokes are created That's right You're watching people in action You're listening
Starting point is 01:43:48 Are they watching us Oh sorry I'm watching I'm watching I'm watching I'm watching Get your bones on Get your bobby Did you see the 9-1
Starting point is 01:43:58 Story about the dogs Who kept calling 911 No These dogs Called 911 16 times. Oh my goodness. There you go.
Starting point is 01:44:06 911. What's the answer to the emergency? Hello. Hello. 911. Two dogs in Minnesota called 911 16 times in one day. Their owner was gone,
Starting point is 01:44:20 left a cell phone out, so they must have been hitting it with their pause. Oh, and it would go to the emergency call or something. That's funny. I love dogs. The officers rang the doorbell,
Starting point is 01:44:29 walked around the house, and were about to clear the call when they learned that the pups have been hitting the button. And they're talking, too. It's us. Come on. We're all good.
Starting point is 01:44:38 We're skiffy. We're clear. We're clear. Yeah. 911. What's the other to the emergency? Hello. Hello.
Starting point is 01:44:48 911. There you go. That's funny, huh? Yes. Hey, today, let's say it's Monday. Our show's over. You can listen to it back on IHart Radio. Let's say you're finished with the show.
Starting point is 01:45:00 I'd like to recommend you to check out the Bobbycast. There was an episode with Jake Owen that people love when Jake Owen stops by the podcast. Because that guy is gold. And I think because we have a relationship A bit outside of the show That we can kind of go at each other In a good way And you know, just in an honest way
Starting point is 01:45:18 He is so good on this Bobbycast Because there's just like an hour to talk And this is Jake talking about How he was scared to admit he had a girlfriend Because the last time he came on a podcast He was like, yeah, I got a girlfriend That was the big breaking news Because he was like
Starting point is 01:45:30 There was this part of me for so long That was scared to admit That she was my girlfriend Not to the public or anything But like I was worried What my own daughter would think like dad's already moved on that quickly. I don't know what it was in my head.
Starting point is 01:45:42 But all along, I've always known that like, Eric and I've always just been like, it's just so easy and so great. And she's like my best friend. You know, worried about what his daughter would think, you know? That's kind of a weird thing to have a kid and bring somebody new around, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:57 And here's another one where it's like, people are like, Jake, good to have you back. And he's like, wait, I never left. Just because I'd have a song out right then. It bothers me a little bit when people say that because it makes me realize, wow, they really did think I was gone. Like, I went away.
Starting point is 01:46:09 Maybe it didn't feel that way to me just because I was still out on the road. While everybody else thought I wasn't doing anything, I was out there on the road literally not only working hard, but like supporting band, crew, paying for buses, and it takes a lot to do that. And it's hard to accept that when you feel like people are saying, uh, uh, what's happening to Jake?
Starting point is 01:46:31 Yeah. Search Bobbycast. In podcasting, it's so easy. Just pull up I-Heart Radio. or wherever you listen to podcasts, it'll be iTunes. It's free, by the way. I can't say it enough. It's free.
Starting point is 01:46:45 You just hit a button, like if you go to IHart Radio, I'll give me an example. You hit your phone, open it up. You hit the IHot Radio app. You search Bobbycast, and then all the episodes are right there at your fingertips. You can hit play and hear it all, and it doesn't cost you a dime. Because how we pay for it is you'll get like one commercial during it, you know? Like this show, it doesn't cost you a dime. But we play commercials, so we can actually pay our salary in a lot.
Starting point is 01:47:08 light bill, stuff like that. It's on a wall for a good time call. I'm a local legend on a Friday night. Hey, Ramundo, people are wondering if you tried out for Big Brother this weekend. Yep. You did? Yeah. Yeah, so I really can't talk about it.
Starting point is 01:47:23 Honestly, it's hush, hush, so. You try that for Big Brother this weekend? Yeah, that's how I got in trouble last time. So the producer said from this point on, we can't really discuss anything. We can say that we did interview for the position. And they did randomly have people from past seasons in Nashville. like Winston was there and Brett it was weird so
Starting point is 01:47:40 Winston and Brett were here that's what I'm saying I was looking at him like Are you guys trying out again? I've never even heard of Winston or Brett Dude it was weird I'm like oh yeah Go ahead and bring back people
Starting point is 01:47:49 That have already been on the show Why don't you give the rest of us a chance But yeah I can't really discuss too much You tried What's the interview like Like you walk in? It was a group setting They sat some people were one on one
Starting point is 01:47:59 For some weird reason Maybe they wanted to see how I interacted With other people It was like four or five people Two chicks Three dudes And it was so quick but I did have a chance to, like, be myself.
Starting point is 01:48:09 And I can't, honestly, I can't tell you exactly the questions they asked, but I told I, I represented Nashville. And I was like, you guys haven't had somebody from Nashville in years. Like, definitely, let me bring my boots. I'll bring a cowboy hat. Like, I'm Nashville. I go out. You don't wear a cowboy hat.
Starting point is 01:48:22 I have boots, but then I go out on Broadway and I go do shots to the country bars. Most people don't do honky tonks like me. And I said, that's what I do every weekend. So I would be perfect. I'm the quintessential Nashville person. Ray Mundo is our audio producer who sits in a glass room. and edits audio all show long. Also, probably the most interesting guy in the show.
Starting point is 01:48:41 And he went and tried out for Big Brother, even though he knows that if he leaves for three months, he's not going to have a job here anymore. But I admire your passion. Absolutely. It's a shot in the dark, but why not? If it's what you want to do, you should always try it. You only have one shot.
Starting point is 01:48:54 Honestly, I had that itch. I was like, I got to go do it. I agree. And I would hate to lose you because you know. Yeah. I'm a big fan of you. Yeah. But I'm also a big fan of chasing your dreams.
Starting point is 01:49:03 And, I mean, let's be real. The show's on three times a week and live feeds. That'd be unbelievable. exposure. It'd be huge for my career. You'd probably come off that show and at least you'd have a month of social media people wanting to buy your ads. You can travel the country for a good year, but then after that you got to find something. Oh, okay. Who do you think that's better? The Bachelor people? Bachelor people. They do? Yeah, because they're on TV. It's for some weird reason, people are more drawn to relationships. Yeah. But contest-wise,
Starting point is 01:49:26 you win Big Brother, you'll get more money initially. But the better thing is Bachelor, Bachelorette because you can sell products, go on trips, do Instagram. All right, well, there he is. Raymondo try it out for Big Brother. When can you give us an update? When I'm not in this seat. What, excuse me? What does that mean? Hold on, whoa, you just can't walk out and quit the show.
Starting point is 01:49:45 You have a very important job. Yeah, there's heads up. It's like right now probably a three-week window, so just chilling. I'll let you guys know. All right, there he is. Ray Mundo, tried out for Big Brother. Definitely a step down, but it's just that you wanted to do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:59 Yeah, yeah, I've always wanted to do it. It's a little shot. It's a bucket list item. Yeah. Go get that bucket. I'd hate to lose them So we would lose him, lose him We can't just put him on loan
Starting point is 01:50:11 No If he's gone for three, four, four, five months I gotta get somebody new for that job Can't hire a temp Right That show's that long Yeah, honestly, I could be there for four months If I win the thing
Starting point is 01:50:23 And he will win the thing All right, thank you, Raymondo Good luck Bobby Bonds Well, there you have it Another show on the books I hope I get a little better I don't think I've been totally annoying with my nasal stuff today, right?
Starting point is 01:50:35 No. It's been all right. I always feel bad for listeners when they have to hear me go, I'm coming to D. Frog here. You didn't sound quite like that. It does sound like Kermit. Yeah. Hi-ho, Carmen T-Frog here.
Starting point is 01:50:46 Hey, everybody. Hey, everybody. I was having her to two stand-up shows this weekend with this. And I was having to sing with this. And so, whoa, easy over there. No, I mean, I feel for you. Thank you. Did you sing Rainbow Connection?
Starting point is 01:51:00 Rainbow. Why are there so many? It's not easy being green And I called my doctor And I said hey this happens to me about Two or three times a year Why am I getting these crazy head colds? And he's like, you're severely allergic to something
Starting point is 01:51:15 You've been diagnosing it all wrong So if I go to an allergist That's a thing right? Yes What do they do to you? I don't know, I've never been I used to take allergy shots I'll tell you what they do
Starting point is 01:51:28 They lay you on your stomach And then they put little things in your back and they test you on like 50 different things and whatever swells up the most that's what you're allergic to. You have to get swollen? Yeah, like little red bumps. You sit there for 30 minutes.
Starting point is 01:51:39 You lay there and they'll come back in and measure how swollen you are in that spot. Does it hurt? No, it doesn't hurt. Itches, but you can't scratch it. What's going on today, Amy? Man, I got some podcast steps to work on up here after the show
Starting point is 01:51:52 and then working out, taking the kids to the park because I think it's supposed to be a beautiful day and then we got hip-hop class tonight. It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful day. Will you ask your dance instructor if I can go next week with him? It's on my list tonight because I haven't been able to get a hold of him.
Starting point is 01:52:07 And so I'll see him tonight and ask him about a one-on-one with Dancing Stars champion. Oh, yeah, tell him that. I'd probably be intimidated. And Stevenson, yes. I would rather do a one-on-one. So I don't want to go to class for all the kids. I don't think you would be allowed to go to the class because I was looking online and it's like, I don't think adults can take the kids classes. And probably a nice rule there.
Starting point is 01:52:29 That would be, yeah. Yeah, they'd be nice. All the creepie uncles with just mustache and the short. Yeah, yeah. So I'll talk to him tonight. Yeah, I would like to go do that. I'd like to go take a one-on-one with your son and, you know, maybe teaching both a little something. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:52:43 Lunchbox. Oh, you know, I mean, it's a relaxation day. I had a very busy weekend. We got The Bachelor tonight. And, I mean, besides that, I mean, my schedule is pretty wide open. Hometown dates tonight, huh? Yeah. Get ready.
Starting point is 01:52:56 I saw that on the, during the Grammy. What was last night, the Oscars? Oscars. the Oscars, the guy was flying around, a little airplane. Yeah. One to Alabama. Yeah. Is Alabama?
Starting point is 01:53:06 Yeah. One to one of the Carolinas. I think it's North Carolina. Is the other girl in there? Yeah. Both the beauty girls are still in? Yeah, I think that's right. I think they're both still in.
Starting point is 01:53:17 And then two California girls. Yeah. What about you? I'm going to go. Oh, I know what you're doing. I'm going to go lay down. Oh, we've got to get ready. I just have to rest and slept hard the last two days.
Starting point is 01:53:29 I got this head call. I have to sing at the opera tomorrow night. I can't really sing anyway. But I can kind of sing enough to be funny. But they want this. What if it made me better? And then I always chased having allergies. Right.
Starting point is 01:53:45 You kind of sound like Bradley Cooper. In the shallow, shallow. Yeah, so today's going to be as lunchbox, let's say, a rest day. Chill as possible. Smart. Get on that rest circuit. You're going to become addicted to rest. I'm telling you, he's going to take over your world.
