Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. You're listening to a podcast, so you're doing something else too. Like maybe scrolling home listings on Redfin, saving places you like without thinking you'll get them. Because that's what house hunting has become. But Redfin isn't built for endless browsing. It's built to help you find and own a home. Redfin agents close twice as many deals as other agents, which means when you find a place you love, you got a real shot at getting it.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Redfin helps turn saved listings. into real addresses. Get started at redfin.com. Own the dream. Air Tasker handles your never-ending to-do list. Pick up the cat, get nails done, yard work, taxes. Local taskers can do all that. Visit Airtasker.com or download the app.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Air Tasker. Get anything done. The Disneyland Resort is everything. We came to play the Calli Way. Felt like I was in the round-up game with Woody and Pixar Piers. Have you been holding out on us? No, just showing you where the real Hollywood stars are. Like Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Oh, there's jazz, right? And a drop. You'll see. Grab a Mickey pretzel on the way. Girl, you'll read in my mind. We're almost there. Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park. We came to play.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Both park tickets and reservations require such as to restrictions change and cancellation without notice. Visit Disneyland.com for details. Spring is in the air, and it leaves. Long-lasting pain relief is here to keep you moving. The days are longer. The flowers are blooming. whether it's gardening, yard work, or just spending more time outdoors, spring has a way of getting us moving despite any body pain.
Starting point is 00:01:36 That's where a leave can keep you going. With just one dose, a leave gives you long-lasting body pain relief for up to 12 hours. From sunup to sundown, a leave's got your back. Try a leave. Use as directed for minor aches and pains. All right, going to hit you with some Friday stuff here. You know, I read this story about how people have a tendency to date. People like them.
Starting point is 00:02:01 you know they do say opposite the track I think you're there's a you know a novel attraction to someone opposite you but that researchers say we all try to look for a little bit of ourselves a romantic partner so
Starting point is 00:02:14 what made me think of this was how you guys give me a crap because I was like something I kind of find hot is when someone doesn't have time and it's in a weird way probably because that's how I am it kind of all went breakthrough
Starting point is 00:02:26 that's kind of why I think because I am like that I'm like let me try to get as much done as I can be productive. And so when it's like, what was our thing we did? Oddly Hot. My hashtag. Hashtag.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Things I find oddly hot. It was the yesterday show. And one of mine was someone who's just so busy. They don't have time for me, but they make time for me. It's pretty odd. But that's what I do too. And my love language is time. My number one thing that I give.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Oh, you give. What I give. But what do you need? Well, I'm just talking about me giving right now. Okay. I know. Because when it's like what I'm, I give time and I give gifts. I don't really know what I need.
Starting point is 00:03:08 What do you want? He needs space. I don't know what I'm good at giving. I don't know what I'm good at receiving. Like, of the love languages. I'm good at time. If I give time, that's a big one for me because I don't have a lot of it. Don't you like someone that's like, shows loyalty?
Starting point is 00:03:26 Oh, that's the number one thing. But I don't think there's a lot of loyalty in, like, relationships. It's not a love language. It's not a love language. Like there are only so many love languages. There's five. Oh, is that what it is? What are they, Amy?
Starting point is 00:03:38 Um, touch. Pizza. He likes touch. Touch. I don't know that he does. I'm not a big touchy guy. Bones. No, no.
Starting point is 00:03:46 If you know, like, the definition of what they mean. I like touchy when we're, that's like touchy time. Yeah. But not like normal. Okay. Not a big touchy guy. Like I gave you a hug the other day like a couple months ago. And you like that, I think.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Below the waist. Did you really? Yeah. Yeah. So. physical touch is one of them quality time receiving gifts acts of service and words of affirmation that's mine quality time bones mine's words if i had to pick one don't you like to hang out with certain people and have quality time with those people but i feel like that's what i'm giving i don't know which one i like
Starting point is 00:04:23 them oh you're giving okay not touch not not not not time i wouldn't say words of Affirmation. Not gifts. Definitely not. Not words. And what's the last one, Amy? Acts of service. Not acts of service.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Not acts of service. So you're unlovable. I'm just completely unlovable. Huh. No, that's not true. I think it could be... I don't mind words. I don't take them well.
Starting point is 00:04:47 At least initially. But that's what feels your... Like, for me, if I get words of affirmation, whether in my romantic relationship, like if it's coming from my husband or whatever, or like a work relationship with you, like if you tell me something that I'm doing good like that will make my week
Starting point is 00:05:07 but I tell you stuff and you're like stop it don't do that so you don't know what I'm doing on the inside party on the inside I think about that it's like a living love language I don't know party on the inside business on the outside yeah for me words are big because I tell you
Starting point is 00:05:24 quite frequently how much I believe in you and you like and you're always like I don't know I just don't know I'm like no you're a superstar I believe in you. You're going to do big things. Okay, but I still, it doesn't matter if I know what you're saying or agree with what you're saying. Like, if you believe in me or you send me words of encouragement or you're proud of me in some way, like that, that, if you express it to me, that means more to me than if you were to give me a hug. So you'd rather me say, I'm proud of you than buy you a treadmill.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Oh, take it back, Amy. Take that back. That's Christmas, though. Christmas is about gifts. No, it's not. That is, Amy. You're on my side. I love it.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Jesus is the reason for the season. To buy gifts. Listen, if Jesus was here today, he would have, he would be on Peloton all the time. Interesting. He would be all about it. Do you have all about it? Do you do endorsements to Peloton? I don't know if he'd do endorsements.
Starting point is 00:06:20 They'd give Jesus shoutouts? He wouldn't have time to go to the gym. You know what I'm saying? They'd be like, all right. Let's look at our list here. Oh, Mike's got 100 workouts in today. Shout out Mike. Teresa up in San Francisco.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Oh, 300 today, room. Great job. Looks like, oh, his first workout. We've never done this before, but let's throw a big shout out to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the bike for the first time. Shout out. And there he is. He's just like pedaling. He's just crushing it. Wow.
Starting point is 00:06:44 He'd probably be faster than anybody, right? Yeah. I don't know. I'm just saying. He's very busy, so it's doing, working out at home with a Peloton super convenient. I was on the other day and they gave Sueina Williams a shout out. She was riding the bike. Oh, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:06:58 In your class. Wow. That's cool to know you were doing it while. Wow, she was doing it. We're basically riding the same bike. Pretty much. You're on the same ride. Was she on her bike at home or was she in the studio?
Starting point is 00:07:07 Do you ever know? At home. They're by themselves, right? No, but some people, the classes are in the studio and you can see the people that are in there. I don't never know anybody, but I think I'm going to do that in Austin this weekend. SoulCycle. Oh, I'm going to ride in Austin. It's different.
Starting point is 00:07:22 I guess it's like Sol Cycle, but it's called Ride. I like how you did the parentheses. We knew it was called Ride when you said you were going to ride. I'm going to go to Waterburger. I just didn't watch it. I think I was going on a ride. I'm going to Soul Cycle. I'm going to go to Waterberg. Wait, but what?
Starting point is 00:07:40 Maybe I should take whatever class you take. That would be fun. But I'm taking a class with my friend, Michelle. I'm going Saturday if you want to go. That's when we're going. I'll ask her. But I think ride is just where she typically goes. Where is ride?
Starting point is 00:07:53 It's downtown? I think it's downtown, yeah. I would go see you. And she said that the teacher is my husband's like BFF from high school. like his high school friend and then sort of in college and then we've kept in touch his new wife and I only knew his ex-wife
Starting point is 00:08:11 I'm lost I'm so, I thought you were there's a hundred straight maybe we'll go see what's up Oh I was just saying Have you been in soul cycle? Yes and I love it. It's awesome. It's like, yeah
Starting point is 00:08:21 They play awesome music sometimes I like the hip-hop stuff I don't like the dance stuff whenever you go in it's like m-s-o-o-m-s-m-s I'm like oh god we go we've got to do it an hour of like we're at a London
Starting point is 00:08:32 dance zotech discotech, whatever they call them crap. Disco tech, no, that's not what the... Discoteca. Discoteca is in Mexico. Oh, I thought you meant in the UK. No, that you said disco tech. I like one. It's like hip-hop. Like, I went to a Beyonce one once. It's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Really? They turn the lights down. There's like candles and stuff. Ooh. That's cool. Yeah, I get naked. I ride naked. There's one at the Y where they watch movies while they do it. That's cool. At the Y? Yeah, they do this. Or they're watching like a cocoon.
Starting point is 00:08:56 I don't know. I just walked by and there's a movie going on there. There's young people at the Yon. That's where my husband works out. reference, but I like it. That's a good movie. My brain fog is slowly going away. Sometimes I get caught up in it, but boys and girls, I'm firing. I'm mostly there. Can I mention something? Yeah. So I went
Starting point is 00:09:15 to the Mike's Hard Lemonade site. Oh, from the draft today? Oh, you can't the draft hadn't happened. They don't know. The draft happened this morning. And they'll know if they listen. But there's a chat that came up and I'm tempted to just ask them like, do you guys do hard country? We didn't get to play back on the show.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Do you want to play the... Raymond, do you have the clip? We did Mike's, the Mike draft, and Lunchbox drafted. Well, he's confused at what he drafted. Let's just play the clipback of what he drafted. We're doing mics. Go ahead. You know, I like to make a nice cup of Mike's country time lemonade. I mean, and you can do Mike's hard lemonade out of the cold section. Just one.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Whatever. Just one. Just one. Mike's country. Oh, yeah. Okay. Now we're back. We kind of have to make a boat on this.
Starting point is 00:10:00 You can't take one and all the other ones. No, no. I thought it was one brand and at the end you hear me say Mike's Lemonade because that's what I understood it. Well let's go to Mike D who's a judge He doesn't play this is why Mike D
Starting point is 00:10:11 It's list, go ahead I take it as the first thing you said Yeah And he said Mike's country time lemonade This is not a thing You'll hear it later And Mike's lunchbox is the game So for you just to say Mike's
Starting point is 00:10:23 Hard Lemonade That's what I'm saying You didn't say it You could say I'm gonna go with Mike's hard lemonade Which is what it is But I did say Mike's hard lemonade The second.
Starting point is 00:10:32 It's a different thing that Countrytime Lemonade. And I guess it doesn't have to, like, we don't have to disqualify it. There's no disqualify because he picked a song the draft that wasn't in the 90s last time. Right. But just so the listeners know.
Starting point is 00:10:43 And it's listed as on the sheet, it's Mike's Countrytime Lemonade, parentheses, that's not a thing. Yeah, but if you put Mike's hard, which may get him extra votes. Maybe, because it's funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:53 If you put Mike's hard lemonade next to it, it's also a thing. But whatever. Amy. Yep. When I say, you're drawn to people like you, this was how we started this. What about your husband
Starting point is 00:11:03 is like you? Like, what are you drawn to about him? His faith? Oh, yeah. Well, I know. I was thinking of any similarities we have and the first thing, yes, that it did come to my mind was faith, family, like how we want to, yeah, our, yep, yep, faith and family, those are the top two. And then other than that, we are very different. That's a big thing, though. That's like a massive thing. Yes. Like other than that, that's a big one. If you don't have that, you can't do it. I mean, we both
Starting point is 00:11:29 have jobs. Homo sapiens You know Know how to drive Yeah We like Oh you don't know to drive that well We like to
Starting point is 00:11:38 We both like to work out Like we have that I don't know Other than that We're quite different Okay I think that's pretty much it Because we gotta get out of here
Starting point is 00:11:48 But But Tonight Eddie and I are in San Antonio Tomorrow night We're in Austin Can't we do play those shows Got some new songs I think we have like
Starting point is 00:11:56 Three or four new songs We're gonna play I got quite The guest list unless they're already in. Requests. Like, so I'm trying to get people in it. I'm trying to get half to go to San Antonio or something like.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Dude, me too. I had to send people to San Antonio too. Because I'm like, first of all, there are no more tickets. All tickets are gone. And second of all, not everybody's going to be crawling around backstage. Like, we're trying to get ready to do a show. It's not just a music show where we could just kind of go, we'll just play the songs. Like, it's literal.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Like, we have comedy and new songs and we've got to get our act straight. Yeah, quite the pickle going on. Isn't that funny? Yeah. And it's our show. And we're like, we can't get people in. But it's going home, man. Like, everyone's just like, oh, I can't wait to see you.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Well, sometimes, though, I'll tell you, yes and no. Some of my friends are like, hey, do you have any tickets? And I'm like, I don't know. I can check. And they're like, well, let me know because I got like 17 friends that want to come. And I'm like, do I know them? No? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:48 You don't have a problem just being like, sorry? Can't do it this time? Some of them, I'm like, there are no more tickets because there aren't more tickets. I'm going to have to do that today. They'll always release tickets to every show close to a show, though. even us, I think we're going to release some the day of. Oh, cool, that's good to know. I was doing this on Twitter the other day.
Starting point is 00:13:04 I was telling people, like, if there's a show you want to go to and sold out, wait until the day of or the day before, they constantly release holds. We're not going to have any holds. Okay. But, it's a good problem to have. Yeah. It's a real good problem. What? You don't have four tickets for me?
Starting point is 00:13:18 No. This is a friend I'm talking about. Oh, this is the one. This is the ridiculous. Do I know your husband? Yeah. Does your husband still talk about us playing racquetball in a loving way? Yeah, he wants to do it again.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Okay. for making sure. He wasn't offended that you brought up his loss. No, not at all. I had nothing but quality things to say about our match. Yeah, I don't think it bothered him at all. And he heard it back and everything. Like, he's fine.
Starting point is 00:13:43 He has his little bag with his little racket out now. I think he's keeping it out. Yeah, good. He talked to me. I ran into him in the halls here at work, and he talked to me about it. He said he had a lot of fun. And the other thing he mentioned, too,
Starting point is 00:13:53 he's like, one thing that we didn't think about. He's a left. Bones is a lefty. And he's like, that really got me. I've been elected my whole life. I know, but he just forgot. He's not just a racquetball left. In racquetball, he said you were hitting this tiny little spot in every serve.
Starting point is 00:14:07 He's like, dude, I just couldn't hit it. Interesting. That's clutch. It's quite the tactic, bones. Way to go. Racketball. I might hit you up on one of those. I might challenge you.
Starting point is 00:14:16 At what? Rocketball. I'll dominate you worse. Ben's an athlete, her husband. So am I, dude. Oh, three-star recruit. My bet. Yep, whenever you want.
Starting point is 00:14:23 All right. What does it mean to be a recruit? All right. Well, colleges are looking at you. Oh, yeah. That means they're recruiting. you, not just a college, but a recruit in the military? Well, my husband was on the Air Force football team freshman year, but as I'll walk on.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Okay. At the Air Force Academy? Yeah, and then his grades were suffering, and all he wanted to do was be a pilot, and he knew he couldn't be a cadet. Freshman year at the Air Force Academy was miserable anyway. He knew he couldn't survive that, get good grades and play football to not even really like play, play, play, play, play, you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:52 So after freshman year. Yeah. Play play is, yeah, it's hard. Well, because, you know, I mean, but he did get the opportunity to be on the team freshman year, which is cool. Yeah, it's cool. We're going to go. Thank you, everyone. Have a great weekend. See you on Monday. Uh, au revoir. Namaste. Starting point is 00:18:07 Well, today we're looking at Friday, August, and night. Now, what I like to do sometimes on Fridays is a little something we call Flashback Friday. Flashback Friday. 22 years ago, we're going to look at 1997. Amy, talk to me about 1997 for you. I was a junior in high school. Maybe 10th grade. Maybe a bit of both.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Yeah, you're a sophomore. Okay. Yeah. I'm one year older than you. All right. So sophomore, junior, whatever. And man, then I guess I had was recently 16 or about to be. Was I?
Starting point is 00:18:39 Yeah, I was 16 driving my red bronco around town. Yeah. In 1987, I was a junior. I had a red Subaru that I mowed yards, weighted tables, bought that thing for like $1,800. It was awesome. Yeah. That my Pontiac Sunfire, which had hundreds of thousands of miles on it. It's amazing how good cars are.
Starting point is 00:19:01 and how long they have to last when you're broke? Because there's no other choice. And they do. I was proud of those cars. 1997, the biggest country song was on this week, Carrying Your Love with Me by George Strait. I'm carrying your love. Listen to this on repeat in my car.
Starting point is 00:19:15 In your Bronco. In my Bronco. Windows down. And I used to always hope I would drive past this one guy had a crush on. I'd even take different roads to make sure I would make you draw. It was totally psycho. Good for you.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Like, I'd go five minutes out of my way because I would love it. If I ever passed him, he'd wave. I'd be like, hey. He was like, I drive San Antonio. Basically. The biggest pop song on this day in 1997. Puff Daddy and Faith Evans, I'll be missing you.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Which was written about? Don't know. Come on, the death biggie. Oh, was? Yes. Okay. Yeah. And what song is this from?
Starting point is 00:19:56 It's sampled. Oh. Every breath. To take every movie. I know it's early, but you're not honest. I know it's early, but you're not. Every single day. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:20:07 I know. The biggest thing in pop culture news, South Park debuts on Comedy Central. Wow. Huge show. It's still on, right? It is. This show's 23rd season will premiere on September 25th, 2019. It remains one of Comte decentral's highest rated shows after 23 seasons.
Starting point is 00:20:25 That's crazy. They killed Kenny. Spoiler alert. Going down to South Park. Young name? Yeah. And that's, today. That's Flashback Friday here on the Bobbybone show.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Flashback Friday. Oh, yeah. Thanks, everybody, for being here. How you feeling? I guess I need to wake up a little bit. I do with it every day. I was telling Mike D. that my brain fog is starting to shift a bit. I was doing a podcast.
Starting point is 00:20:49 It's not up yet, the Ingrid Andrews Monday. I was doing a podcast to Ingrid Andrews. And that was pretty funny for the first time where I was actually feeling things click. And I told him after we finished, she goes, like 45% over this brain fog. I feel like the storm is shifting a little bit. Good. Maybe it's sleep. Maybe it's the, what am I taking again?
Starting point is 00:21:07 Probiotics. Probiotics. Maybe it's a combination of all. I've been doing the ab. Shocker? Seven minute abs? Like what? All right.
Starting point is 00:21:19 We're going to get started. Yeah, I can see that comedy's a real common. I know. I was trying to think of the Dimeaster. That's what I was trying to think of. Oh, that's Sammers. That would have been funny. Ah, that brain fog.
Starting point is 00:21:29 I know. That was almost there. He's going to summer. I know. I'm getting close. It's early, though. I know. You don't bust my chops.
Starting point is 00:21:35 You just sucked. I know. I know. I was reflecting. You're the funniest person I know. You're the funniest person I know. No, no, you are. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
Starting point is 00:21:47 All right, time for our Michael fantasy draft. These are all mics or Michaels. Draft any of you want. By the way, Amy will be sitting out today. She finished last in the last draft. Yep. Ramundo will be sitting in Amy's spot. Raymond.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Yeah! With the first. overall pick in the Mike fantasy draft. Morgan number two has it. Morgan number two. Who will you be going with now? I've gone back and forth between two. All right.
Starting point is 00:22:10 And I think I'm going to start with this one. Mr. Mike Fisher. Perry Underwood's husband. Wow. I thought maybe I'd get him in a third round. Like he'd be sitting there later. Wow. I love it. Okay. That is the best pick coming out I've heard in a while.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Good for you. I like that one. I love it. I'm going to go with The second pick in the Mike draft, I'm going to go with Michael Scott from the office. Dang it! Of course he did. So good. I expected that. I did too, but I was hoping maybe after she'd pick Mike Fisher, he would go, I don't know. Michael Scott down the hall. Ray Mundo, you got the third pick, buddy.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Yeah, this was a pretty easy one for me. Shit goes there all the time. Michael's baby. Great pick, the store. Oh, yes. That was my number one. Solid pick. Michael's the store.
Starting point is 00:22:59 lobby is where it's at. That was my pick. All right. Lunchbox you're up? Oh, man. Maybe the greatest Michael had ever walked this planet and he doesn't really walk on the planet. He soars. His name is Michael Jordan. Right, good pick. I mean, you get shoes. I mean, global
Starting point is 00:23:15 brand. Eddie. Guys, you all thought about this way too hard. He sits in this room. I'm taking Mike D. number one. Yeah, that's the mic I'm going with. Mike D. Show him? there he is
Starting point is 00:23:29 and you thought Mike Fisher was a bad first I mean I like my D but I'd take Mike D in around two or three Two or three but one Okay Eddie you have your second pick go ahead This is even better Are you ready? Michael Angelo The Ninja Turtle
Starting point is 00:23:43 Not the artist Not the artist No ninja turtle Forget the artist That's good The Ninja Turtle Okay Lunchbox is your second pick
Starting point is 00:23:50 Yeah I mean When I'm sitting there on a hot summer day Like today You know I like to make a nice cup of Mike's country time lemonade. I mean, and you can do Mike's hard lemonade out of the cold section. Whatever. Mike's lemonade.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Oh, yeah. Ramundo. Yeah, I had to do this one. My trick is very religious. So I went with St. Michael's Cathedral. Yeah. Interesting. Well respected.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Among the Catholics, it's huge. Pretty good. Why not you go with St. Michael? But okay, you went with the cathedral. Yeah. Okay. Is that a famous cathedral? Is it New York? It's located in a lot of different places.
Starting point is 00:24:34 In every city. I don't hate that. Back over to me for my second pick in the Mike draft. I'm going to go with Michael Phelps. Fastest swimmer? Yeah, Fasts swimmer. I feel like it's a solid pick. You know, it's not going to win me any ooze and Oz. But I feel like it's right there for me.
Starting point is 00:24:51 I'm going Michael Phelps. Good job, Bones. It was on my list. Morgan number two. We're doing the Mike Draft. Who is your second pick? I really love him in two. Two movies, Creed and Black Panther.
Starting point is 00:25:03 His name is Michael B. Jordan. Okay, there she goes. A solid pick. Not to be confused with Michael. Nope. Right, Air Jordan. Yeah, Air Jordan. Okay, we have one more round left.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Morgan number two has Mike Fisher and Michael B. Jordan as her team so far. Why are you laughing? I'm not. I thought Michael B. Jordan was a fine pick. It's fine. No, it was. Morgan number two. Who would you go with as your third pick in your final Mike in the draft?
Starting point is 00:25:28 I'm going to switch it up and go off. of Monsters Inc. His name is Mike Wazowski. Yeah. He's a little monster. Oh yeah? Yeah. I don't know who it is, but... Disney. I'm sure. Disney movie. That's going to get a lot of hits. I feel like you've had a pretty solid draft. You probably could have got fish in third round.
Starting point is 00:25:44 But your other picks are good, though. I like your team. Thank you. Not that I matter. I've only won once. Back over to me. I have Michael Scott from the office. Be sure to put the office up there beside it. And Michael Phelps, obviously, the greatest Olympian. This is tough. We're running out of mics.
Starting point is 00:26:03 It's tough. I'm not, I got a lot of mics. I'm gonna go with one of my favorite things that I see. And when I, when I see it, I go, that's what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the mic drop. Boom! Drop the mic! Drop the mic! Put that on there! What do you think about that one? Put that on there! Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:22 What's your feedback on drop the mic? That's pretty interesting. Yeah, that's good, dude. That's very interesting. What? Drop the mic. That's perfect. You think?
Starting point is 00:26:30 Yeah. It's other terrible or awesome. No, it's awesome. Not terrible. My official pick for the text is drop the mic. Or dropping the mic. Parentheses, dropping the mic. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Oh, man. That's mine. Okay. Ray Mundo, your final pick. So far, you have Michaels the craft store and Michael's Cathedral. St. Michael's. Sorry, St. Michael. It's right never really.
Starting point is 00:26:51 Yeah. St. Michael's. Go ahead. Number three. This is my boy. He's been in jail. He should be getting out soon. He might be out already.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Dang it. The situation, Mike Sorrentino, baby, Jersey Shore. Solid third pick. That's a solid third pick. Yeah. Solid third pick. All right. Lunchbox, you have Michael Jordan, and you have Mike's country time lemonade, which I'm being told is not a thing.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Yeah, I may not, dude. It's written on the screen. Maybe spiked. That that's not a thing, what you said. Mike's hard lemonade? Yes, you can get it at the store all the time. Yeah, that's not what you said, though. That's not what you said.
Starting point is 00:27:25 I said Mike's lemonade, including the hard lemonade. He said country time lemonade. Yes, correct. And we have tape on it. We recorded this. So, so far, he has Michael Jordan and Mike's Countrytime Lemonade. I said Hard Lemonade. Prethesis, not a thing.
Starting point is 00:27:42 No, Mike's Hard Lemonade is a thing. Like, he had oops I did it again in 90s music that came out in 2000s. Did I not say Mike's Hard Lemonade along with that? I don't know. Okay. I did. Because I said you can go to the Cold Section and get the Hard Lemonade. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:27:54 But you have Michael Jordan and Mike's Countrytime Lemonade. What else do you have? I mean, you guys like this band called the Rufferer. Rolling Stones. The lead singer's name is Mick Jagger. But did you know his real name is Michael Jagger?
Starting point is 00:28:07 So I will take Michael Jagger of the Rolling Stones. Yeah. He's taking Michael Jagger of the Rolling Stones. I love it. Mick Jagger, baby. Michael Jagger. There you go.
Starting point is 00:28:19 But you got to put Mick Jagger. Yep. But I like that he's in Michael Jagger of the Rolling. It's written fairly Michael Mick Jagger. Yep. So he's got Michael Mick Jagger. You got there. Country Time Lemonade.
Starting point is 00:28:30 and Michael Jordan. All right. Eddie, you got the final pick. How did you forget this guy? Mike D. and Michelangelo is a ninja turtle. You're pretty stupid too.
Starting point is 00:28:41 They're all pretty stupid. All of ours are pretty stupid. All of ours are pretty stupid. All right. And lastly, but definitely not least. Could you, would you, ain't you gonna? If I ask you, would you want a John Michael Montgomery. A pretty good pick.
Starting point is 00:28:53 This is a good one. Yeah. All right. And Mike's Country Time Lemonade. I included Mike's hard limit. You can't take multiple things. It's the same brand. There's no such thing as my country-time lemonade.
Starting point is 00:29:06 No way it's the same brand either. We'll check the tape before we go. I'll sit up there, exactly. Because if there is country-time lemonade, but it's different brands. Maybe it's his cousin Mike who owns country-time lemonade. Okay. We'll put this up at bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:29:19 You can vote for whose Mike team he thinks is the best. Ones that I didn't pick. Microsoft Word. Oh, wow. I had Michael Dell. So Microsoft Word, I thought. was pretty solid. It was that a mic drop.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I felt the attitude of mic drop is better than Microsoft Word. Would you have taken Microsoft Word? Yeah, that's 100% awesome pick. Oh, but Mike Drop is amazing and so clever and creative. I wouldn't have thought of that. Sometimes I don't want to out clever the room.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Yeah. And I was like, well, people vote for a mic drop. Okay. And then I had a movie that I enjoyed back in like the 90s, 2000s. Michael, with John Travolta. Oh, the angel. Michael, the Archangel.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Lunchbox at Michael Dill. Eddie, what did you have? From my first? No, just you didn't use. Oh, I had a, what's her name? Jillian Michaels. Oh, okay. Right?
Starting point is 00:30:07 I thought about doing that. And I also had Mike Ditka. Oh, yeah. The Bears. Yeah, and Michael J. Fox. Michael Coors. No one took Magic Mike. I had Michael Bubla.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Michael Bublay, Mike Brady from the Brady Bunch. Have that on the list of. Michael, Crocodile Dundee. What about Mikey from the life cereal commercials? I'm a little too dated for me to hit that one. But yeah, it's one. Raymondo. Do you have any?
Starting point is 00:30:29 Yeah, the TV show Mike and Molly. I think he got some votes on, though. That's a popular show. Anyway, there's our Mike draft. Just run over the teams real quick. Go vote to Bobbybones.com. Morgan number two has Mike Fisher, Michael B. Jordan,
Starting point is 00:30:42 and Mike Wizzowski from Monsters Inc. I have Michael Scott from the office. Michael Phelps, the greatest Olympian of all time, and dropping the mic. Raymond who has Michaels the craft store, St. Michael's Cathedral, and Mike the situation. Solid.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Lunchbox has Michael Jordan, Mike's Countrytime Lemonade. That's not a thing. You got to add the hard lemonade. And then Eddie has Mike D. He's stretching Eddie. I'll be honest with you. That's a good one, dude.
Starting point is 00:31:05 I'm stretching out of there. Everyone knows him. Michael Angelo, the Ninja Turtle, not the artist. Yes, correct. And John Michael Montgomery. Yeah. I think you've got Mike D in third round, though. Really?
Starting point is 00:31:15 I think so. I thought you guys would take him first. Easy. I was going to take him in third. Okay. All right, there you have it. That's our Michael draft. Go vote at Bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:31:25 The Bobby Bones Show. Big three stories. Let's go over to our producer, Raymond. Ramundo, what you got over there? In other news, officials ordered four e-cigarette companies to be pulled from the market.
Starting point is 00:31:44 FDA didn't approve of them. The list is online. And finally, America's top party school was named Syracuse University. Coming in second was the University of Alabama. Starting point is 00:35:10 over there well I got a message from a friend rachel cruise Rachel Cruz by the way author she's the daughter of Dave Ramsey this big friend of ours who does a big national radio show what does she say Which is just send me a note and it said, hey, random question. I'm writing my new book and I heard Bobby say before that he pays extra on his bills because he doesn't ever want to feel broke again or something along those lines. I would love to use that and as an example in my new book. Is there a way to find out if he's cool with this and if it's okay to use his name?
Starting point is 00:35:40 And so this is my way of asking you. Is it cool? Is it okay? I guess if the story's right, I don't do it anymore. Up until about two years ago, I would overpay my bills by about $10 or $15 every month. because I wanted to build a cushion. So when I lost my job and was broke again, I had a couple months paid off.
Starting point is 00:36:00 I did that my whole life because I grew up very poor and I was like, man, this isn't going to last. But now I've been convinced otherwise. So I stopped doing that about two years ago. And the companies don't let you do that and they send you the money back. So there's no cushion. After about three months, they go,
Starting point is 00:36:13 hey, idiot, you've overpaid us. Here's a check. And then sometimes I wouldn't get the check and I'd just lose the money. Right. So she can write that if she wants to say he did it for a long time, but doesn't do it anymore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:25 There are certain things that I still do. And again, I'm not going to act like I'm broke anymore because I got a great job. But like toothpaste, I have to catch myself going on. It's okay to use a little bit of toothpaste. I just, I just do just a little dibble. Because we didn't, all that toothpaste, hair stuff, deodorant, that was like the last thing that you buy if you're broke. and so I'm still I still have the habit I'm using a little bit of toothpaste
Starting point is 00:36:53 So I'll do it And I'll start brushing my teeth and go There's no taste and I'm like you know what It's already I had to use a little toothpaste You're good And I also have an endorsement of a dollar shave club They'll send me my toothpaste Which is amazing
Starting point is 00:37:03 So I'll also have that But yeah she can use that story Okay And then when she puts it in the book She can come promote the book here on the show Oh nice I can retell this story Yeah she said I can send him the final manuscript
Starting point is 00:37:13 On what it will say Just so you can approve Did you see the story about the swimming pools Where you can rent the swimming pools out other people swimming pools? No. So, let me think about this because I now have a swimming pool and I was so guilty about it for the first year that I had it.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Yeah. And so it's a new service that lets you rent a stranger swimming pool for an afternoon. Can you imagine? Sounds cool. So it's like an Airbnb for swimming pool. Yeah. So property owners can rent out their pools by the hour to people desperate to go swimming. I use this pool like twice a year.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Maybe. Yeah. My dog gets in a little bit. but a quick search in one of the areas of like 25 bucks to 150 bucks an hour and you're at your pull out. That'd just be weird. I would feel like people would be paying to come scope your house out though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I guess you would lock the house up though and let them go to the backyard, right? There's rules. Yes, but I'm saying you look in windows. Oh, for sure. I look in everybody's window. It doesn't look at, I like it. On Instagram, if people post inside of their house, I'm like pinching and like looking at their knickknacks.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Do you guys do that? Sure. I posted one inside my bathroom. And people were zooming in on, I use the mouthwash, smart mouth. Yeah. And what they do, and I don't even think about it, they'll see if I'm as honest about the endorsements that I do as I am. And my whole kid, my whole bathroom is smart mouth mouthwash. Dollar Shave Club.
Starting point is 00:38:36 It was dollar shape club toothpaste. And I have a bunch of pair of glasses too. But that's what it was. Yeah. So anyway, I saw that. Trying to bust you with some Listerine or something. It would be like, suck a little. You train her.
Starting point is 00:38:46 You use scope. She can use that. Rachel Cruz, shout out. You can use my story if you want, as long as you update it to know, it's now not a good thing to do anymore. Because they just mail your money back. And I wonder if she knew that. What? That the companies do mail your money back. Yeah, it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Let me... I don't know where she's going with this as an example, but she wants to use you as an example. Maybe she's like, this is what not to do. This is what dumb people do. All right, Chelsea and California's on. Chelsea, where are you in California? Coachella Mallee. We're stage coaches. Love it. We played there.
Starting point is 00:39:16 They old raging idiots play. So what's your comment, Chelsea in California? Was it about getting a girlfriend? Yeah, that's what it says up here. It says me on getting a girlfriend. Yeah, I also texted about a karaoke song, but yeah, I don't think it's a good idea. And it's nothing personal. I'm sure you would make a good boyfriend to somebody.
Starting point is 00:39:37 But I think it, you getting a girlfriend. I just think. Why are you gasping in a negative way about me getting a girlfriend, Chelsea? No, like I said, I think you would make a great boyfriend, but I think you not having one adds a good dynamic to the show. So you would rather be miserable in my personal life as long as I come with a different perspective and content for the radio show? Yes, unfortunately. That's honest, though. I love her honesty.
Starting point is 00:40:04 I love her honesty. Oh, shoot, but I feel like you hearing that might give you the validation of like, well, I guess I should be single because it's better for the show. Well, a bit of me too is giving up because I'm going, you know what? I'm okay. I've been okay this long. I'm not searching. If it happens, it happens. Right. Chelsea, how... But if you have a girlfriend, then everybody on the show is just in a perfect,
Starting point is 00:40:24 healthy relationship, and that's just boring. Well, that's not true. Nobody on here is in a perfect healthy relationship. Is there a such thing as a perfect healthy relationship? I don't think so. I mean, there's such things, like you can try to be as healthy as possible, but I don't think there's anything perfect. Chelsea, you're in a relationship?
Starting point is 00:40:40 The situation is very unique. I mean, as the listener hearing his perspective of things and being lonely and looking for a girl. I mean, it really does add texture to the show. I do get lonely. I do go home. And we all do.
Starting point is 00:40:54 And that's, I mean, hearing that as a listener is special. It's unique. Yeah, I do go home and I'm like, man, like I've accomplished a lot in my career. But in my personal life, it's like, I'm still down in the rookie leagues, man. I know. And some of your listeners are too. And we need to hear that. We need to know that not everybody has kids.
Starting point is 00:41:15 and are married and in a relationship. So you want me to stay single and lonely for the sake of the show? I can get down with that. Well, I mean, when you get into politics, you can find, you know, a Jackie O, but for now, take one for the team. Okay, and she also, she texted another thing, too. So you have a karaoke suggestion for me, because I've been searching for that perfect karaoke song.
Starting point is 00:41:36 All right, Jackie, what do you, or sorry, Chelsea, what do you think? Mama's Broken Heart. Okay. It's a country song. also very hilarious coming from a dude. That's funny. She's right. It's a very female song. Let me try this. In subbeat.
Starting point is 00:41:55 I'm going to try it right now. Here we go. Did she like clear her? Yeah, she does. Right, here we go. I cut my bangs with some rusty kitchen scissors. I screamed his name till the neighbors called the cops. I numb the pain at the expense of my liver. Don't know what I.
Starting point is 00:42:16 did next all I know I couldn't stop We got around to the barflies and the Baptists My mama's phone started ringing off the hook I can hear her now saying she ain't gonna have it Don't matter how you feel it only matters how you look This is it Go and fix your makeup girl let's just stop break up going Hide your crazy and start acting like a lady cause I
Starting point is 00:42:46 Did you? That's a line. Wow. How you feel? There's a lot of energy. That's good. I feel like it's in your wheelhouse. Chelsea, what do you think about that?
Starting point is 00:42:56 I thought it was great. You got to try to like, don't try to go as high as she would. I know. That's right. On the beginning. Start it over, Amundo. Yeah. Let me try it again.
Starting point is 00:43:04 I'm going to go. I'm going to drop it down. Okay. That's a good point. Do you know stuff about music, Chelsea? No. I'm a horrible singer, but I don't know. I'm going to go.
Starting point is 00:43:12 I'm melting it out anyway. I cut my bangs with some rubs. with some rusty kitchen scissors. I screamed his name till the neighbors called the cops. I numb the pain at the expense of my liver. Don't know what I did next. All I know I couldn't stop.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Word got around to the barflies and the baptists. My mama's phone started ringing off the hook. And I can hear her now saying she ain't going to have it. Don't matter how you feel It only matters how you look Go and fix your makeup You think about that Drop it down like that
Starting point is 00:43:52 I like it deep Whoa Do we bleep that? Y'all suck I like that octave The low octave I like it What you think Chelsea?
Starting point is 00:44:08 You loved it All right Listen I think we've had a pretty productive call here Absolutely. Chelsea is a great caller. Yeah, you should call back. I dread the day that I tune in and it's Bobby with a girlfriend. And that's weird to me.
Starting point is 00:44:22 I mean, you could still provide the, if the lonely element is what you need, like Bobby could still be in a relationship, but somewhere in his heart still feel lonely? It's not even just him being lonely. It really is just, I mean, it's the uniqueness to it. It really is. He's never been in love. I mean, it's seriously unique. And just hearing stuff that's different is, I mean, it's a very unique element.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Well, hey, let's save California Chelsea's number. I'd like to bring her on the show occasionally. Yeah, because she's honest. And she's honest. And, I mean, she suggested a karaoke song as a unique perspective. Wants me to stay sad? Like, this is pretty interesting. Once you stay sad, that just sounds so wrong.
Starting point is 00:45:06 I don't think that's what she's saying. She doesn't want you to stay sad. Chelsea, what's your story? Are you lonely? Yeah, yeah, I'm lonely Misery loves company, guys Well, then she can't fall in love either then Yeah, that's our deal, Chelsea
Starting point is 00:45:18 Don't even be happy I'm not the only one, okay? All right, okay There's more of us out there Do we have our number saved, guys? You? Yeah, we do. Okay, Chelsea, we'll talk to you soon. How old are you, Chelsea?
Starting point is 00:45:30 Oh, boy. I am 36. I lie so much, I'm 29, but yeah, I'm really 36. Have you been married before? No. No kids. So I'm her hope? No kids. And wait, not to date, but she sees someone.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Right. Yeah. Oh, I was about to try to set y'all up. Oh. No, we can't be happy. We cannot get together because we'd be happy. She doesn't want to have a girlfriend. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:45:52 Yeah, that's true. What if you're the one that ruins the element? She's like, oh, second thought. I'm definitely not good looking enough for him. Oh, be quiet. Have you seen me? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:04 But, yeah, you're not what you sound like for sure. Wait. Hold on. Whoa, whoa, what is that? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What do I sound like, Chelsea? You know when you just, you hear somebody and you picture how they look? It was probably, I listened to you probably four or five months before I even Googled a picture of you.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I was like, no. That's not him. Why? Am I uglier than you thought? Thinner, I guess. Thinner? Just different. Just different.
Starting point is 00:46:31 What did you, what did you picture? Like Chris Sam'sworth? Pardon? Did you picture? Don't put anything in her head. What did you picture in your head for those four to five months? Celebrity. Looking because it's been a while now.
Starting point is 00:46:43 I don't know. I mean, he does talk about how, like, things that are wrong with him. So I kind of even pictured, like, a more scruffy or, I don't know. I don't know. But definitely, this is not what I pictured. And what did you get? When you saw it, what did you think? I just, I honestly couldn't believe that that's what it was you.
Starting point is 00:47:03 So he's better looking than you had imagined? I just different looking. She thought you were tougher. Different. For our listeners, just don't know what I look like. She did say you're good looking. Let me explain what I look like. Oh, yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Let me just give you the dad. I'm about six, honestly, I'm about six foot and a half. I won't go six one. Thank you. Finally. I know. But when I'm in tall shoes, I'm six one. I'm about, at peak, when I'm feeling my best, I'm about 157.
Starting point is 00:47:31 So it's thin. But I'm in really good shape. I wear dark rim glasses. I kind of look like the guy in Weezer, or Buddy Holly with the glasses. I have brown hair. What would you say? What else?
Starting point is 00:47:48 I mean... I'm a solid seven. He has a... He has a chiseled, a very defined chin. Sometimes when he's on TV next to Ryan Seacrest, people are like, Twinsies. But I think you're better looking than Ryan. No offense, Ryan.
Starting point is 00:48:03 That's my personal... Potato. Potato. That's my personal... I'd personally rather make it with Ryan than me. I'm sure you would. I was just giving people, like, that's my personal opinion. Yeah. Sometimes he's got a scruffy beard, sometimes clean-shaven.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Mostly, if it's scruffy, it's because I didn't shave right. He spray tans once a week. Boom. About once every nine days, I would say. Not always once a week. All right. Okay, listen, we've spent a lot of time on this. California, Chelsea, thank you for your call.
Starting point is 00:48:26 We'll talk to you soon, okay? Thank you. All right, bye-bye. I admire the honesty. Yeah. Not quite what she'd hope for. No, she's just different. That means not quite what she hoped.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Yeah. She was like your forehead was just a mess. Oh. It's like you need to get that Botox. And give her what she wants. Stay lonely. Stay lonely. I mean, if we could just go, like, a few days without mentioning the Botox, it'd be amazing.
Starting point is 00:48:45 I know. We haven't yet. But my heart screams what my heart screams. Bobby Bon Show. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. John Mayer brought out Chris Stapleton at his Nashville show. Instead of playing one of their songs, they played a song that they had just wrote together before the concert.
Starting point is 00:49:03 Here's a clip. There's a lot of new music out today. Kip Moore shared a new song, and it's called She's Mine. Miranda Lambert dropped another new song. This one is called Mess With My Head. Lady Annabellum shared a new song, and it's called Pictures. And then Zach Brown Band dropped a new song called Warrior off their new album coming out on September 20th. I'm working number two. That's your skinning.
Starting point is 00:50:11 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Well, it started with a lost stuffed animal, and that's not good news, but it became the inspiration behind a toy drive. This toddler, whose name was Nina, left her stuffed toy husky dog behind. This is in Pensacola. It was at Maynard's donut company. So employees are like, hey, who lost the dog?
Starting point is 00:50:36 Like, we'd like to get the stuffed dog back to the kid. And so they started putting pictures on Facebook. And Nina was up there, and they would put Nina next to a new donut all the time. Well, the stuffed animal became so popular, and people were coming in going, what's up with that, and taking pictures of it? Now, if you donate a free stuffed animal at this place, they can give to other kids, they give you a free donut.
Starting point is 00:50:54 That's awesome. It all just kind of came back around. And by the way, Nina got the stuffed animal back, too. So she lost the dog. She got it back. It inspired a toy drive where other kids are now getting toys. And not only that, when you give a kid a toy, you get a donut. Everybody wins.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Win, win. So shout out to Maynard's D donut company in Pensacola. Boom, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. A 46-year-old man is facing fraud charges after he tried to alter a lottery ticket. Oh, yeah, I bet that's almost impossible to do, right?
Starting point is 00:54:40 He bought a scratch-off and you have to match three like a melt. and he got a 20,000, a 20,000, and a 10,000. He's like, if I take a little Sharpie and turn that into a two, it's $20,000. I mean, he's right. Not knowing about the barcode. Right. So he took it to the lottery office and tried to cash the ticket. Well, he went straight to the lottery.
Starting point is 00:54:59 He didn't go to the gas station. Went to the lottery. Wow. And so they saw that it was doctored, called police, and he was arrested. A couple things. One, did you know you don't even have to scratch it? You can just take it and go, I bought this. Can you beep it?
Starting point is 00:55:11 And they'll beat the barcode. That's no fun, though. It is no fun, but you can't alter it because they don't even care about what's on the ticket. It's all the barcode. It's funny. He went right. Did you ever change your grades in school, Amy? Nope.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Never had like a C and you decided to put a line behind it and make it to a B? No, I changed my college diploma, but I wanted to. Remember? Because I was supposed to graduate in 2003, but I didn't get my degree until 2008. And I felt like so insecure about the fact that it wasn't, didn't say three. so I thought, if I just take an eraser and erase half of the eight, it will look like a three. I felt like I got pretty lucky with the eight almost looking like a three. You graduated five years after you're supposed to?
Starting point is 00:55:52 Yeah, yeah, yeah. She went back to college. She didn't finish. It was a secret she kept from us. I didn't know this. Oh, yeah, I had confessed live on the air because nobody knew really, nobody. And I just couldn't even contain it anymore. And I just said, I don't have my college degree.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Because I walked across the stage and my diploma was empty. I was three hours short, but I was taking a correspondence class. But then after I walked across the stage and then got a job, I was like, well, this is silly. I don't need to take this three hour silly course. So in 2008, I had to go back to school. I took another three hour correspondence class when I lived in North Carolina and Texas A&M mailed me my degree. She wanted to erase it. I did.
Starting point is 00:56:33 I thought about wide out, wide out or racer or something. That would have been a bonehead move to. And then lunchbox would have said, I'm lunchbox and that's your bonehead. story of the day. Let's play real or fake news. My music, Raymoono. I will read you a news story. Tell me if it's a real story from this week or a fake story from this week.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Ready, Amy. Ready. Man exposes family to radiation after urinating in backyard. The story goes on to say, a man mistakenly exposed his family to potentially dangerous radiation. He's been treated with radiation medicine and discharged. He then went home and urinated in his backyard and possibly exposing the radiation to others. So he gets exposed. What?
Starting point is 00:57:21 He then pees after he's been, there's radiation in his pee. And they're like, oh, dude. What do you do? Go visit Chernobyl? Real or fake? Real? What? Wow.
Starting point is 00:57:35 I kind of was like, okay, I'm just going to say this is real, but no way, is it real? And it's real? And then there's radiation medicine that you just take? It's a real story from this week. Ready. Lunchbox. Yeah. A YouTube family sells Life-like dolls modeled after their newborn baby.
Starting point is 00:57:54 A family with 1.2 million YouTube subscribers welcome their fourth child in March. They have now designed a lifelike baby doll modeled after their two-week-old that followers can buy and take care of for $340. Whoa! For an additional $79, followers can also. purchase and accessories kit that comes with custom diapers, three onesies, a blanket, a pacifier, and a birth certificate hand signed by the family. Man, YouTube has a lot of crazy things, but this is not real or else I'd be rich. This is fake. He says it's fake. Sorry, it's real.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Whoa, got him. Got him. Got him. Eddie. Come on. A man fights off a bear. during a picnic where he proposed to his girlfriend. Okay? So the bear saw the picnic basket? A guy named Jack Connor proposed to his girlfriend of three years at Yellowstone National Park.
Starting point is 00:58:53 Okay. She said yes. And as they were taking pictures, a black bear appeared from the woods. Luckily, he was carrying repellent in his backpack. He managed to reach over his shoulder, grab the bear repellent from his backpack, spray the pair who then backed away.
Starting point is 00:59:08 Enough, enough. Enough. Enough. You're just telling me a scene of Yogi Bear. Like, it sounds like it could happen, but then it's just like, oh, is that a real story or a fake story from this weekend? Is that a pick a dick basket? No, it's fake. Oh, yeah. I knew it. Look out. But, I mean, that could totally happen. It's just a fake story. Amy and Eddie, you're in it to win it still. Here we go. Amy, a man is released from jail. wins $50,000 in a lottery scratch-off the same day. Reginald Roberts, 64, had been in jail for four months on a robbery charge. What?
Starting point is 00:59:48 On the day he was released, he stopped by a Flash Floods convenience store in Albany, New York. He won $50,000 on a Show Me the Money scratch-off ticket. Real or fake? Fake. She says fake. Oh, she's good. She's real good. Eddie.
Starting point is 01:00:08 A scooter driver flipped off the cops as he rode away, but then a scooter died. Police reported an incident involving a motorized scooter and a driver who failed to stop at 1 a.m. He was observed from a distance operating in a reckless manner and making obscene hand gestures, which he then made to the officers. After the guy flipped the cops off, he drove off on a scooter, which then died. officers caught up with him and arrested him on charge of failure to stop for police. This is a tough one. Is that a real story or a fake story from this week? I feel like we would hear this in the bonehead story of the day.
Starting point is 01:00:44 And all those stories are real. There's a lot of boneheads, Eddie. We can't get to them all. I'm going to say yes. It's real. Yeah. Oh, wow, wow. I got two more.
Starting point is 01:00:56 These are weird news stories. Amy, a bus driver got into a fight with another bus driver after being cut off in a school zone. Dang. The schools fired the bus driver after you got into a fight with another school bus driver. Bus security video captured
Starting point is 01:01:10 a fistfight between the two drivers with high school kids in the bus. The attacker stormed to the front of the bus and pushed the other driver into the window. The victim pushed them back. They continue to throw punches until students were able to pull them apart. Real or fake?
Starting point is 01:01:25 Fake. Oh my gosh. I can't stump you guys. Oh my goodness. One last story, Eddie. I mean, Bobby, it's a, like, it's a 50. We're just guessing. It's like 50-50.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Librarian finds very rare Shakespearean written poem inside donated book worth $1.3 million. Whoa. Yeah. A librarian was going through a box of donated books. She found a book with nothing on the cover and discovered what had appeared to be a handwritten poem. Another library employee suggested she have the rare book expert check it out. Turns out the book had once belonged to William Shakespeare estimated value if they auctioned at $1.3 million. Since the original owner has not been found, the library will put it up for auction and use the money for innovations.
Starting point is 01:02:07 Real or fake? Guys, no one's found a handwritten poem by William Shakespeare. This is fake. Fake news, hit it. Folks. I try to act all confident. I mean, anywhere, we have a time. Give them both that round of applause there.
Starting point is 01:02:23 Here we have it. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Like kissing your sister. Good job, guys. Mike D, it's a Mike D production. If you want to hit the old Mike D. Stinger there. He has to write all the fake stories. He does a good job at faking us out.
Starting point is 01:02:40 He does. The Bible show. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So do you know why Freddie Mercury had the overbite that he did, you know, from Queen? He had the big teeth. I was born that one? Well, he had four extra teeth in his upper jaw, and the extra teeth pushed his front ones forward,
Starting point is 01:03:00 giving him that signature overbite, and he never got them removed because he feared the surgery would affect his voice and vocal range. I think that I would have kept them in too. Like if you have a gift like that that's coming from that hole, you don't want to mess with that hole.
Starting point is 01:03:14 I have other holes with similar gifts. I don't mess with it. You know what else? So Leonardo DiCaprio's mom named him Leonardo because she was looking at a Leonardo DeFenchi painting when he first kicked her belly.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Like he was inside her stomach. She felt the kick. She happened to be looking at Leonardo have been changing, she goes, boom, that's what I'm going to name my son. Interesting. When, what I've been told is, don't worry, be happy, was on the first time I kicked. Really? Bobby McFerran.
Starting point is 01:03:40 Yeah. Amy, are we doing fun facts without you telling us we're in the middle of the fun fact? Oh, you did. Oh, my gosh, it's fun. I was sitting here going, I have it so much fun right now. This is kind of an unfamiliar feeling out of nowhere. Sorry, sorry. I just got so used to like this being, it's Friday.
Starting point is 01:03:54 So Fun Fact Friday, but you're right. I forgot to tell people that, yeah, we're doing fun facts if you can't tell. Okay, we can. I could. All right, what else you got? So Daniel Rack. He said $94 million from playing the role of Harry Potter, and he's hardly spent any of it. He also said he doesn't want to let his fans down by accepting less than fantastic roles because of money.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Well, Jay Leno doesn't spend his, and never spent his money that he made from the Tonight Show. What does he do with it? He saves it. But he would spend all the money that he would make doing stand-up. That was always his thing. And so he still made millions of dollars doing stand-up, but he would always save that money. He may have started spending it now, I don't know, but yeah, he would. never spend a check. That's interesting. So you kind of get that money. It just goes,
Starting point is 01:04:35 you don't even need to touch it. Yeah. It's awesome. It's kind of like me. You don't even touch it. Amy, what else? Oh man, this sucks for Ryan Gosling. He once gained 60 pounds to star in the movie The Lovely Bones. But when he showed up on set, turns out the director wasn't really picturing an overweight lead. So Gosling got fired and he was the lead. And they hired Mark Wahlberg to fill in his shoes for the movie. That's rough. It's a supernatural drama. There's got to be more to that.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Well, I... There's got to be more. You just... Like, you gain 60 pounds? You probably communicate that with. I'm going to put on a bunch of weight for this role. I don't know. Or miscommunication between Ryan's team and what the director wanted or whatever.
Starting point is 01:05:17 But, I mean, they didn't have time to wait for him to lose the 60 pounds to get back to chiseled Ryan. So they had to go with Mark Wahlberg. Walberg just doing bench press one morning. Hey, Mark. Can you come over? All right. Oh, man. And he gets a movie roll.
Starting point is 01:05:31 just because he's got abs. Give me one more. I didn't have much fun on that story. That wasn't very fun. I'll be honest with you. You better hit this one out of the park. Oh, I just thought it would be a real bummer to gain 60 pounds for a roll. But it's not bummer Wednesday.
Starting point is 01:05:41 It's fun back Friday. Oh, but still fun. Okay, hippo sweat pink. Did you know that? I didn't. Uh-huh. They do. Fun.
Starting point is 01:05:49 Contrary to popular belief, their milk is not pink. Is there a belief of their milk? I never heard this. People think their milk is pink, but they do sweat pink. Are they drinking sweat? People are like, I got hippo milk. It's pink. Do you have a sweat?
Starting point is 01:06:03 After I get a sweat, what do I get? A spray tan, I sweat orange. There you go. Should we hear all week? Tell your friends. Broom-ch. All right, what else you got? So this is crazy to me.
Starting point is 01:06:15 Is this still a fun fact Friday? Are you going on? This is news and it's absurd. Go ahead. Scientists are starting to sell vodka made from ingredients at Chernobyl. Whoa. Yeah. It says here on the headline, you'll be glowing after knocking back some vodka that
Starting point is 01:06:31 scientists have whipped up. Now, the nice part is they plan to use profit to assist towns economically hit hard by the disaster, but I'm not getting anywhere near anything that was near there. It's just not happening. If you watch Chernobyl, you know, they said for 10,000 years, radiation will be falling because of that explosion, the Chernobyl explosion. And now they're putting that in vodka? They're using some... If we die, we die. Like, they literally, right? This vodka will break you. This vodka will break you. Because it is Russian. Yes.
Starting point is 01:07:01 It is. And when you watch it, you'll see. If you cannot drink Tonobovati, you're not real Russian. It's the national vodka of Russia. Yeah, they probably will make them drink it. You must drink it. Drink it. And if you die, you die.
Starting point is 01:07:16 And Cambridge Analytica is going to... Have we used the more outdated quote ever? No, but that quote doesn't die. All right, what else, Amy? These are America's favorite 90 sitcoms. Oh, I can do this. And they analyze Google search volume for these shows to determine... Friends has got to be number one.
Starting point is 01:07:31 Of all time? 90s. So we'll talk. 90s. 90s. Got to be friends. Friends is still one of the biggest shows now. Is that 90s?
Starting point is 01:07:38 Late 90s, right? Yeah. Friends is number one. Ding, ding, ding. Okay. 90s, huh? Mm-hmm. What did I watch in the 90s?
Starting point is 01:07:49 King of Queens. Mm-mm. Not too hard about that one. Yeah, come on. I watch King of Queens. It's a big one. It's got to be on the list. I know, but no, it's not in the top five at least.
Starting point is 01:07:59 I don't know if it's on the list. Oh. Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Sorry. Actually, it is at number four, but I didn't... Stop, stop, stop, stop. Stop, stop. Stop, stop.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Because it tied, so sorry, I was just seeing Frazier. It tied literally with Frazier, the Simpsons. Home Improvement, and Home Improvement. Oh, boom. Because Frazier and Home Improvement were against each other. Yeah. And there were two kinds of class. You remember that?
Starting point is 01:08:22 There was, yeah. There was the home improvement class, which I was, like, normal America. And there were the people that were all fancy and watched Frazier at the same time. And I just didn't get the people that watch Frasier. What are you rich? Yeah, I don't get Frasier. I don't get Frasier. I watched Home Impers.
Starting point is 01:08:33 do now because I'm an adult. And I'm like, oh, that's kind of funny. But at the time, I was like, how would you know? What? I was like, I was like, oh. That's a great. So I'm going to go, friends, king of queens, home improvement. What am I leaving off the list?
Starting point is 01:08:47 Seinfeld? Seinfeld. Yeah. Oh, I didn't even think of Seinfeld in mine. Wow. It's not in mine. You're definitely missing Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He did say it, though.
Starting point is 01:08:55 Did I say it? Yeah, you said it. Yeah, you said it. You did. I did not. Go ahead. What else? I did not.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Save by the bell? Oh. I guess the sitcom. Yeah? It's just right in the daytime. Yeah, what else? Everybody loves Raymond. Oh, fantastic show.
Starting point is 01:09:10 Yeah. Yeah, and that 70s show. Oh, good. I wouldn't have considered that. All right. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 01:09:20 So last year around the holidays, this woman, Veronica Robertson, she was having some major medical issues. In and out of the emergency room. Ended up missing Christmas with her family. Her old family did. Just Christmas. They didn't have time for it. then they started to get behind on bills because all the medical bills piling up, like their mortgage and things. I mean, so it's been a rough year.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Well, some local businesses found out about them. They decided to throw them like Christmas this summer. So they got them a tree, presents, everything. They finally got to celebrate Christmas. Then they rallied together and everybody pitched in money, all these local businesses, took care of six months worth of their mortgage. So now they're headed into this, you know, the end of the year, like in a better spot and feeling like all the love. hope. Christmas and August. I'll take it. Yeah, good for them. Yeah, that's good. Good for those
Starting point is 01:10:08 businesses and just, I mean, we say businesses. Good for those people. For helping out. Man, that's what it's all about right there. That was tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. Over to Amy with the morning corny for a Friday. Here we go. A morning corny. What is a dog and a cell phone have in common? What is a dog and a cell phone have in common. We both have caller ID. Caller ID. That's pretty good. Wow, come on with that. There it is. That was the morning corny. I didn't know Tom Brady was selling his house. Oh yeah, him and Jacelle are on the move and it's
Starting point is 01:10:59 listed for what, 39.5 million. So you called into Boston? I called into Boston, said, hey, I'm looking to move. I need a new pad, you know, businessman making business deals, trying to get that money. I need that house. All right, here's a clip of lunchbox trying to buy Tom Brady's house. Good afternoon. Get something.
Starting point is 01:11:16 Realty. How many help you? Yes, ma'am. This is Jason Givel, businessman, business deals, trying to get that money. And I was trying to get some information on one of your properties.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Oh, you didn't even get to it. That was it. I mean, they are just like the goat. They don't have time to mess around. They don't need any jokesters. They didn't even let me, I didn't even get to ask like, oh, is that where they met?
Starting point is 01:11:39 Do they ever go in the pool at night? together. When they come to a pool party... Did you have a whole list of questions? I had a whole list of questions. Yeah, I want it. Remmond, no one to hear this clip again? I want to hear what I would think of I answer the phone. Go ahead. Good afternoon. Giff's realty. How may help you? Yes, ma'am. This is Jason Givel, businessman, business deals trying to get that money. And I was trying to get some information on one of your properties. Businessman, business deal trying to get that money.
Starting point is 01:12:04 All right, let's just say she would have said. Okay, what would you like to know? What was your first question? I said, you know, it's listed at 39.5. You know, I don't, I don't nickel and dime. don't have time. I was wondering if you would take 36 mil cash. Oh. Mill. Interesting. Okay. Go ahead. Next question you would have asked? And I mean, since I'm doing cash, do you think Tom could teach my son to throw a football
Starting point is 01:12:24 like a man? Oh, interesting. Yeah. Go ahead. You know, I'm showing out millions. That way you don't have to show it very often. You know, you don't have to waste your time? You think I can get one of those Super Bowl rings from Tom? Oh, that's not a good question. All right, give me one more. And will Tom and will you bring Giselle to a pool party in a bikini to celebrate my housewarming party.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Yeah, they definitely would have hung up on that one. I mean, they hung up with businessman business deals. Making that money. I mean, I thought I was going for it. I mean, she was like, what do you think they're thinking when they answer the phone and this dude is on the other line? Hey, Michelle, we got another idiot here.
Starting point is 01:12:59 Hang up on it. Somebody else was calling, trying to see what the house, trying to get a showing. I bet you everybody's calling trying to get in that house. All right, good attempt lunchbox. Appreciate that. Sorry, Tom, not moving in. By the way, we didn't address this yesterday. I didn't realize my Jana Kramer-Bobby cast was going to be so talked about. your friends called you and don't say what it is I would other people hear it themselves yeah I know I was shocked
Starting point is 01:16:08 whenever I was getting texts like blown up like just all throughout the day I guess as people are starting to listen to it and first of all I didn't realize how many of my friends listen to the Bobby Couch shout out but yeah you kind of just talked about something that I don't think you've ever
Starting point is 01:16:23 publicly said I mean I knew about it but they were texting me like did you know about this? Is it really true and I'm like yeah that's true and I'm shocked dude and I haven't had a chance to go listen So I don't know how you said it. I don't know if you were putting it out there, if you were nonchalant. I was kind of nonchalant.
Starting point is 01:16:39 Well, we were talking about, Jana is always a great guest because she's so open. And we were talking about dating. Oh, Friday night, I got it. I know what it was. Yeah, I mean, I put it together in my head how it happened. Yes, that's how it happened. She was on a show. And so I was like, oh, I went on a couple days with this person.
Starting point is 01:16:55 Right. And I first time I'd ever reveal that I'd been on a couple days. First time. I didn't think this would ever come out publicly. Where you said who? I didn't think he would ever discuss this. Ever. It's on the latest episode
Starting point is 01:17:05 of the Bobbycast with Jana Kramer. So check it out. You know who it is, right? I know exactly who it is. But Ryan, did you ever think he was going to publicly say that? Never.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Never. So if you listen to podcasts, even if you don't, take the IHeart Radio app and search for the Bobbycast in the episode with Janet Kramer and I. It's fantastic. She's talking about a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 01:17:22 And then you're just in a good space and you're just like, yeah, let me share. And then I have one coming out Monday with Ingrid Andres. We're talking about Nine-N-N-Az and Songs. So subscribe. I've listed my,
Starting point is 01:17:33 I like clapping in songs. I like whistling and horns. But I love nah-na-na's, right? So I made this list. These are my top five nah-na-na-na-songs. At number five, Blink 182, all the small things. Oh, wow. Pretty good, huh?
Starting point is 01:17:51 I forgot about that. Yeah. Okay. At number four, hey Jude from the Beatles. Do you know the na-na-na-that, Amy? Hey Jude. Hey, Jude. No.
Starting point is 01:18:02 You got to get past that part. You got to go past. Right. Four minutes in the song. Okay, nope. N-ha. Na Na Na na na na na na na na na na na na na nae. That's my number four.
Starting point is 01:18:18 Hey, shoot. Pretty good na na na's though, huh? Great one. Okay, my number three song for na na na's na is Inie camoes. Here comes the hot stepper. Don't hit it yet. Do you know the na na na na na na's and i. Here comes the hot stepper.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Turn it up. I'm a lyrical gangster. He actually says murderer. That's what he says. Whatever. Excuse me, Mr. Officer. Turn it up. Where's the non-nana?
Starting point is 01:18:41 Love it like that. Nah, nah-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-ha-ha-na-ha. Na-na-na-ha. You got there, really? Yeah, I'll get there. Come on, everyone not do your thing, come on. Nah, na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na. That's my number three, na-n-na-na-na-----------------.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Number two, nah-na-na song is a song called Nana, hey-hey, kiss him goodbye. Na-na-na-na-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-bye. Na-na-na-na-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Wow. Na-na-na-ha-ha-ha. Thank you very much, everybody. Good night. Na-na-na-na-ha.
Starting point is 01:19:27 That song is called Na-na-ha-ha-ha-ha-kiss-em-bye. Oh, wow. The real title of that song. Strong. It's very strong. And my number one, nah-na-na-na-na-na-na-s. is... Any guesses? Is there a Darius on?
Starting point is 01:19:41 There is it, there is it. There may be, but not on this list. It's Will Smith getting jicky with it. Na-na-na-na-na-na. Hey! Nah-na-na-na-na-na-na. Hey! Hey, man, dude.
Starting point is 01:19:58 Strong, strong list. Thank you very much. We were drafting non-a-na-n-no songs? Boom, I put those on there. What did she pick? Honorable... She wrote one. She writes pop songs, too, Ingrid does. That's how it came up.
Starting point is 01:20:09 Honorable mentions. Havana. Cabello, nah, nah, nah. Havana O'nana. Nana. Come on. Yeah. Strong Nana's. Just haven't been around long enough to make the list yet. And then also one that was so close.
Starting point is 01:20:24 They almost made it of the week. You almost made it. Na-N-N-N-N-N-A of the week. Comes from a band called Train. Drops of Jupiter. Here we go. No-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-A-N-S. How did you remember those? You just sit there and you go, nah-na-na-na. It's like you're calling out. It's like a duck call. Yeah. Or a turt call. Come, go, go, go, let's. You hit it.
Starting point is 01:20:53 All of a sudden they start coming to you. That's what happened with you. I get on my closet. It goes, nah, nah, nah, and they just start falling in place. That's fun, huh? Anyway, check out the Janna Kramer podcast. The greatest promo for a podcast ever. The Jana Kramer podcast is up now.
Starting point is 01:21:09 It's fantastic. She's fantastic as a guest. And Ingrid Andres comes out. It'll be late Sunday night. But subscribe and comment if you don't mind. Or subscribe and rate or whatever you do. What do you do? Subscribe and send me postmates.
Starting point is 01:21:21 Whatever you do up there on that thing, do that. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. There's three cruise workers. They show up for work. They park in the parking garage. They're walking towards the big old ship.
Starting point is 01:21:36 And there's a guy that collapses in the parking garage. They're like, oh, no. One guy runs, calls 911. The other one goes and gets one of those shocker things that, boom, you know, brings them back to life. And they save the man's life. All three of them combined. Boom, get the defibrillator.
Starting point is 01:21:52 Boom. Shock him. Save his life. all because they were Johnny on the spot. Oh, Johnny on the spot, a term that should be used more, but isn't it? I wonder what Johnny on the spot is derivative from. Mike D, would you look that up? I wonder who the first Johnny was that happened to be on the spot
Starting point is 01:22:07 that everybody goes, there's all Johnny on the spot. And then all of a sudden anyone at the right time was Johnny on the spot. Did you ever think about that kind of stuff? Yeah. Like where'd that come from? Johnny on the spot. Is it Johnny Carson? No, before then, right?
Starting point is 01:22:20 Was it Johnny Appleseed? That's what I was thinking. There's a lot of Johnny's that could have been. I'm about Johnny Adams. Oh, John Adams? His friends call him Johnny Adams. John the Baptist. The phrase dates back to 1896,
Starting point is 01:22:32 and was the subject of an article in the New York Sun titled Johnny on the Spot, a new phrase which has become popular in New York. According to the rider, the phrase is from a slightly longer version, Johnny is always on the spot when wanted. Still, we don't know who Johnny is, huh? And over 200 years later, lunchbox is still using it. Johnny on the spot.
Starting point is 01:22:53 Well, I mean, it's just crazy. Three guys are just going to work, and someone collapses in the parking garage and they save their life. Yeah, that's a good story. Johnny is originally from John Doe, right? Johnny refers to a general male. John, John Doe. I like the fun facts. I remember them for often.
Starting point is 01:23:11 Like, I was reading about how whales make love the other day. Wales? Just randomly look that up? Well, because did you know it takes three whales for two whales to make love? What I was talking about? It's the two whales. How are you saying making love? Hey, that's awesome.
Starting point is 01:23:24 The two whales do it and the other well holds them up because they're in the water. They can't take three wells. Like a booster? Like a spot. Yeah. That's a good friend. But they have this. Mike,
Starting point is 01:23:36 will you fact check that? What organ do they have? I'm not looking at anything. This is just something I remembered. What? I just wonder this thing about all fish in general. Google images. See what comes up.
Starting point is 01:23:46 Mike's yelling, I don't want to Google that in the corner of the room. What's that, Amy? All fish in general. What? Well, I mean, whales, um. There's a mammal.
Starting point is 01:23:53 Whale's a mammal. They have different... Does it take three whales? Images. I'm not Googling that. I don't know what the images will be, but I think... I'm almost positive. That's real. It just shows me some whales. It doesn't show me
Starting point is 01:24:07 making love. Where did you? Where did you see that? I don't know. Hooking up. Whales? Hooking up. No, do it like Bobby said. Males making love. I did. Okay, here we go. Let's see here.
Starting point is 01:24:19 They commonly make during winter season in warmer waters. There you go. Once the female displays a willingness to pair up, she may mate with two or three males over the course of an hour. She's also known to the Grey Wells practice mating outside of times when females can be pregnant. It doesn't say anything about that, but I'm almost positive that's a thing. You're like, honey, honey, the whales do it.
Starting point is 01:24:41 Stop. Okay, great story. That's Tell Me Something Good. That was Tell me Something Good. The Bobby Blonde Show. Are you an emoji sender? Yeah, me too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:53 I get a hard time because I'm a dude. And I send emojis, but I send emojis all the time. Yeah, I feel like it used to be more definitely a girl thing and guys would do it. It was kind of like, what? But now it's just, it's so acceptable. Well, Morgan No. 2 has a list of what the different heart emojis mean. Yeah, you have like a different meaning behind each color, basically. Oh, I didn't know this.
Starting point is 01:25:15 I didn't either. I figured, and I never sent the red heart because I figured the red heart is like super love, right? We want to start with that one? Yeah, we'll start with that one. Okay, the red heart. It's used in the honeymoon phase of a new relationship or showing a friend's support. Okay. Oh, it's supportive.
Starting point is 01:25:30 I would never see the red heart unless it was like, naked time. Or like love, like super love or naked time. Yeah. Right? I thought that's what all of them meant. Oh, yeah. All right, give me another color, Morgan, number two. The black heart, you use it when it's a symbol of deep, embarrassing, or romantic love.
Starting point is 01:25:51 Black is romantic love? Weird. I thought it was like death of someone you loved. Deep romantic love. Huh. I don't know. Like, oh, like, I'm so in love with you. I die for you.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Oh, wow. Okay. Okay. I can feel that, man. I take your love to my grave. Wow. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:10 All right. What do you have? Morgan number two, give me another heart color. The two static little pink hearts next to each other, that's what you use also in a new relationship, or when you're trying to be flirty. and slide into the DMs. I would never use two little pink cards.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Yeah, I couldn't. From a boy? Yeah. Not for me. You want to hear a story? It just happened to me on the text? I texted this girl. I was like, hey, I know we're a little bit.
Starting point is 01:26:35 We've met a couple times. And I was like, hey, we should go to dinner. Just be direct. Like, hey, we should go to dinner on this date. Yeah. She was like, oh, I can't. You're like, we should go to dinner Friday, 7 o'clock. Yeah, I do that.
Starting point is 01:26:47 Because that's literally what you have available. Yeah, but I do that because no one wants somebody wishy-washy. I'm going to come back to your hearts in a second. Morgan number two. Yes. But nobody wants something wish-a-washy. So I'm like, hey, we should go to dinner. I'll just, tomorrow, seven o'clock if you're in town. Let's go to dinner. And she responds okay, I'm out of town. I can't. But I'm pretty tied up with work until like the 24th. Oh, you loved that way. You've loved that. Oh, my gosh. That made you want her even more. Well, the thing is, I will not be available in the 24th.
Starting point is 01:27:13 Oh, he's like, black heart, black heart, black heart. 24th of December? Oh, I love it. I'm not available on that night, the 24th, and I'm not available for, like, a week after that. Wow. So, first of all, the fact that she's not available for, like, two weeks means she really doesn't. Like, if you really wanted to, you, you could make it, make it.
Starting point is 01:27:32 Or she really can't. Okay. Right. But probably she probably could. Yeah, but this is like your dream, and now you're already accusing. I'm talking you through my mind here. Okay. If she really wanted to, she could.
Starting point is 01:27:44 Up before the 23rd. But I'm not here because I'll be out of town. And I was like, yeah, I'll be out of town. If you really wanted to, you'd be in town. And then, oh. I really can't be a ton. Okay. But I was like, I made a joke.
Starting point is 01:27:55 I was like, well, it looks like we're never going to. How about October 2022? You know? Got it. Right. And I never got a response back. She's checking her calendar, dude. Dude.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Yeah. So I didn't. What are you thinking about that situation? Talk me to that situation. I feel like you, she seems like she must have a lot going on and she's busy and you've got that. But yeah, your brain is still. letting you think that maybe she's just not that into you. Boom. That's what it is. It's number two.
Starting point is 01:28:25 But you know, with your calendar, sometimes there's legit a two-week window where you probably, with travel and whatnot, you could not make it happen. It doesn't mean that you're any less into somebody. You just couldn't make it happen. And then she could be thinking the same thing about you. Well, he must not be that in me, because if you want to see somebody, you make it work.
Starting point is 01:28:43 I asked her out, though. Okay. You asked her out for a very specific time and date that she happens to be out of town. And then she's out of town for like 80 months. Okay. Pretty sure she said the 24th is not that far away. Like I'm so talking because part of me is like awesome. I love it that she just isn't readily available.
Starting point is 01:28:58 Right. But then I'm like, ah, she must not be into me. Is that unfair? She said, in a whirlwind until the 23rd. Oh, she said, can we do the last week of August, 26 or 27? And I was like, I can't out of town. Yeah, you are. Okay.
Starting point is 01:29:14 Morgan number two, what do think about that situation? Well, I do think it's a little unfair because that's, what you want and she basically gave you what you want and you were like uh never mind i don't want it but all right give me another heart color morning i'm tired of you guys you guys is advice here go ahead um the green heart is good for acquaintances or junior varsity friends i would never send anyone in junior varsity a heart because i would go to jail because they're ninth grade is that what that means it's like your second tier friends i would never send a green heart anyway. Never.
Starting point is 01:29:50 I wouldn't send hearts really. I was in red or blue. Green, though. Okay, what else? You'd send a blue heart? Is that what you said? I don't know. What's the blue heart? It's what you use in group chats when you really don't have anything to say. Okay. What else? You got another color? Yeah, the purple heart. If you got a little friends with benefits situation, that's when you use that. You ever use that one, those? You need to use that a lot. Indeed. I need to.
Starting point is 01:30:13 My last emoji, you know how they show you the last emoji's used? Oh, yeah, the recent? Yeah, all mine are dumb. because I don't have anything. I have the laughy face with the tears coming out of it. The pound it. The face that... The teeth.
Starting point is 01:30:27 I have the eyes. Big eyes? Yeah, like, ooh, I see that. Like, I see you. I have the egg plant. Really? Because I send it funny to people. You haven't sent me that one?
Starting point is 01:30:37 Yes, I have. Yes, I have. And then I have the music notes, the dog, because I do a lot of my dog. The fire and the hands. They're like, hello, showtime. You know the little hands that come. out? Yeah. What is that, Amy, what does that emoji say to you? I don't ever use it.
Starting point is 01:30:53 Oh, mine's like, I'm excited? Mine's like, woo! Here I am! Oh, okay. All right, so we learned, thank you Morgan number two. Yeah. Do you miss any colors? No colors? You didn't miss any colors? No, I think we got them all.

On the phone right now is Teresa,
Starting point is 01:34:09 who later on will be Alexa at Amy's son's birthday party. I mean, I'm thinking. And basically we need to confirm it here right now if she wants to. Hey, Teresa. Hi, everyone. Okay. I can see how that can be an Alexa voice. Is that your Alexa voice or are you going to maybe?
Starting point is 01:34:30 Well, we didn't ask her to do Alexa. I know, I know. I think it's unfair to judge her based on that, Amy. Okay, I'm not judging. A little bit. You're like, is that your Alexa voice? No, I didn't know if that was what she planned on doing. I can work on a more Lexi robotic voice to feel like.
Starting point is 01:34:42 That's just a very regular voice. No, I mean, I think it's perfectly awesome. I don't think Stevenson's really going to care. Like, I'm just super excited and thankful that you wanted to be a part of it. Okay, so, Teresa, do you hear us talking about it on the radio, or did someone say to you that we're talking about on the radio? I heard of it on the radio. I've been a listener since shortly after Lunchbox joined the show. Oh, wow, a long time.
Starting point is 01:35:05 A long time ago. So how old are you, Teresa? I'm 25. And so Amy's son really wants to meet Alexa, because he talks to her in the box, and she plays. his favorite songs and she gives them the weather. And so if Amy's son were to say, Alexa, what's the weather today? What would you say?
Starting point is 01:35:23 And how would you say it back? Today's high is 104 degrees with a low of 77, real feel of 108. She even get the real feel. Did they say that? Yeah. I mean, Mae feels like, who cares if it's really, she sounded like a weather person.
Starting point is 01:35:39 That's good. And so Amy said she'd pay $100 to anyone that was Alexa at her birthday party. Yes. And you emailed saying that you didn't even want money. Now she changed it. Actually. No, she can clarify what she said.
Starting point is 01:35:56 Okay, go ahead. There, honestly, there are so many better causes out there to give money for than just giving me $100 to do something fun for a kid.
Starting point is 01:36:10 But don't you need to support yourself a little bit? Maybe $50 for you, 50 for charity. Honestly, I'm good. I like that. I like that. That was personal. I was put it under the microscope there. She passed. Yeah, she wants to donate the money to a cause.
Starting point is 01:36:23 What would you wear whenever you go to Amy Sun's party? What are you going to wear as Alexa? I have like a business, like on the nicer end of business casual top and capris. Is it black? Do you have something all black, do you think? I have all black pants. shoes. I don't have an all black top. I have a black top that has like little circles on it. I mean, sounds Alexa-ish to me. And sunglasses. Don't forget the sunglasses.
Starting point is 01:37:02 What celebrity would you say you look? I definitely have sunglasses. What celebrity would you say you look most like? I'm not sure. Oh man. Okay. Here's what you need to do. You got to ask, do you have an Alexa? I do not. Okay. I have a Bixie on my phone though. Okay. So you can Google's like the kinds of answers Alexa would give because if Bobby were to ask Alexa Alexa who's the second president of the United States? John Adams. Well you're right but you can't. Election has like questioning time.
Starting point is 01:37:35 Even if you're wrong, who cares? Amy asked me a question. I'll do it as Lexington. Just ask me anything in the world that I won't know the answer to. How many continents are there? There are 171 continents. Thank you for asking. Have a good afternoon.
Starting point is 01:37:47 There aren't. There are seven, but who cares? You sound confident. He's not going to know. He's nine. Yeah. Except for then he's going to answer that on a test at school. Who cares?
Starting point is 01:37:56 It's birthday time. Right, right, right. It's not school time? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So just be, in her email, what also attracted me to her, not only did she attach a picture with her wearing sunglasses, which I thought was perfect because she was listening. But she has brownish skin. She said, I am a proud Mexican-American. So her skin is brown.
Starting point is 01:38:16 And she said that she's full of, like, you're a biologist or something, but you're full of you. information? Very much so. Yeah. I love it. All night, Stevens, is just going to ask your question after question after question. But Bobby's right. As long as you answer with confidence and sound like Alexa, it doesn't matter with the answer.
Starting point is 01:38:39 It's like you could say right away if Bobby asked you, what celebrity do you look like? You can be like, I look like. I look like. Peewee Herman. Have a nice afternoon. Perfect. Okay. Let me throw one more out of her, okay?
Starting point is 01:38:48 Okay. Alexa. Play Taylor Swift. Shake it off. Shake it off. And then shut down. That's all you do. Then you shut down.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Yeah. She got it. Oh my gosh. That coworkers have given me such weird looks right now. Are you in the biology tank? I work at a startup. Oh, you are smart. Look at this.
Starting point is 01:39:13 See, she's smart. I promise. Okay. So Amy, I... Anybody have a question for her. They want to ask? Oh. Not to Alexa, but to her about what she's going to do.
Starting point is 01:39:21 Yeah. Are you going to bring a date to the party? Alexa? Yeah, I didn't. I didn't know Alexa dates people. Like, I don't know how that works. Good question. I wasn't planning on it.
Starting point is 01:39:31 Okay. Okay. I got a question. Go ahead, Eddie. How are you planning on leaving the party? I feel like Amy's son's going to want her to stay forever. Oh, you're going to... And what if he's, like, bringing up memories with her later on, like, next week?
Starting point is 01:39:42 Remember the time we did this? Oh, good point. I feel like Alexa's so good, the actual Alexa box. Like, if Stevenson would be like... She answers funny things. Like, I feel like if Steven's going to be like, Alexa, Alexa, remember when you came to my birthday party? I feel like Alexa the box would be like, oh, yeah, that was a wonderful time.
Starting point is 01:39:58 Okay. Teresa, I give you my vote. I'm confident that she'll do great. Yeah, and you're cool, right? You're cool. Yeah, be cool. Teresa, are you cool? Are you cool?
Starting point is 01:40:10 I am super cool. Like, you're not crazy. Do you party? I promise I'm not crazy. I'm not some Russian catfish. Russian catfish. Do you party? Do you party?
Starting point is 01:40:21 I do party. There you go. Oh, yeah. I mean, yes, there will be cake and pizza. Okay. So I hope you guys have an awesome time. Teresa, thank you for answering to call. Amy will reach out.
Starting point is 01:40:34 Yeah, I'll be in touch with address and time, and I can't wait to meet you. How does she arrive? Is it limo? Like, does Alexa arrive in style? Well, if that's the case, Amy's got to pay for it. Right. So probably her own call. Hey, I have a very cool Subaru impressive.
Starting point is 01:40:51 What color is it? It's blue. Ooh, we're going to need a black one. He'll actually know. Stevenson loves blue cars. Yeah. All right. There she is.
Starting point is 01:41:02 She's going to be Alexa. Yeah. Hey, Teresa, thank you. We can't wait to hear how it goes on Monday, okay? I'm excited to do it. All right. Bye, Teresa. Amy, I feel good about this.
Starting point is 01:41:12 Yeah. I do too. Yeah, I'll talk with her. I feel like you're right. We need the answers to just be quick. Whatever they are, it doesn't matter. Just be quick. But I feel bad.
Starting point is 01:41:21 she is at work. She said her co-workers are like looking at her. So I think she was probably a little caught off guard that we just called her. Tonight, Amy Sun's birthday party with Teresa, who is going to go as Alexa and fake her son out. No, no. It's just like having a superhero or a princess at your birthday party. Except for he's. This could be a whole thing.
Starting point is 01:41:43 Kids are going to now start requesting Alexa's. Yeah. Could be a business. There you go. Have a great weekend, everybody. It's been a good week of shows. Just appreciate you being here with us. Amy, what's going on this weekend?
Starting point is 01:41:56 Well, tonight's the big birthday party for Stevenson. That'll be fun. And celebrating him turning nine. And then tomorrow night, like date night to go watch the raging idiots. Is that a date night, though? It is. We're going to dinner. It's me and my husband and then our friend Kevin and Michelle, Dr. Lewis.
Starting point is 01:42:14 And we're going to go to dinner and then I'll go watch y'all perform. They are coming. They are coming. It's the four of us. So that's why it's like a double date night. Stevenson's birthday is actually Saturday, but we're having the party. Does he know his birthday Saturday? Yes, he knows it Saturday, but he knows the party's Friday, which he's totally cool with, whatever.
Starting point is 01:42:30 And then, you know, Saturday during the day, we'll celebrate him. And then we have another birthday party to go to from my other friend that lives in Austin, my friend Jill. And so I feel like I'm be like, he might think that's a party for him too. Just tell him. I don't know. But so doing that. And then, yeah, date night to watch y'all. Well, tonight, Eddie and I will be in San Antonio.
Starting point is 01:42:49 If you're listening in San Antonio, we will be there tonight performing. I believe the Tobin Performance Arts Center. It's what it's called. It's the theater there. So I would love to see you. We're doing comedy and music and tomorrow night in Austin. So, yeah, it's going to be a good weekend. So we've really been looking forward this weekend for a long time.

Starting point is 01:43:28 Stubhub. Oh, step-up. I thought you said. The joke was, even though it works, so I didn't give them tickets. No, yeah. Go to Stebhubh. Wow, you had to explain the joke. She's like, what step-up?
Starting point is 01:43:37 Sorry, it was because I didn't hear, but now that you make that joke, I get it. Thank you. Thank you. Do I have tickets? Am I just get an email or something from somebody? Talk to Mike. I heard it. Just go in the front and say you're aiming.
