All right.
The Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show.
I wish on the podcast we could play the dance party.
We can't.
It happened on today's show because I get tweets of people
that are actually, like I have a teacher here named Danielle Nepple,
Friday morning dance party, second grade decided to have theirs.
And it's a bunch of kids and a teacher dancing to the dance party.
So cool.
We wish I could play it because it really is fun.
But if you're on the podcast, you can't get music because the law is,
I can't play music on demand that you could get for free if you have to pay for it.
Because they've spent money creating it so I can't give it away for free.
And if we put music inside of something that's free, you could just rewind and listen to the music over and over again.
So I hate that too.
We can't even put live performances on here.
Yeah.
So just know that you should listen on Fridays live.
That's all I'm going to say.
Make it a point.
Just right there.
Make it a point.
I got a few things I wanted to go over.
First of all, we're not going to air this on the show,
but it has actually a really funny call that Lunchbox did
where he called and tried to buy Tupac's murderer car.
I just didn't feel like we could air on the show.
I didn't want to deal with people going,
you tried to get called and you bought her by a car,
someone was murdered in.
So, but where is this call that you try to buy this car?
It's in Las Vegas.
It's some celebrity car shop,
and they had it online that they were selling the car,
the car that Tupac was shot in,
and they remodeled it.
Like, there's no bullet holes or anything.
Really?
Yeah, it's all redone.
I would think if you were selling that, you would leave the museum type stuff in there.
Yeah.
Right?
Because if that's what they're selling, if it's that car, don't you want it for that reason not to drive around?
I don't know.
Okay, here's the call.
Jason Gibble here, businessman, business deals trying to get that money.
And I was trying to get some information.
I saw a car, a 1996 BMW.
I was trying to get some information on that.
It's the car that Tupac was shot in.
You said someone got shot in it?
Yeah.
Do you remember the time when a Shug Knight and Tupac got involved in a shooting in 96?
No, no, sir.
I don't know anything about Toothpick and Mr. Knight.
Tootep.
Oh, he was singing in it and he got shot.
And so Toothpick was that popular that it's worth over a million?
Say that again?
Tupac.
So the Carfax will say that this.
No, Carfax will not say Tupac or anything like that.
I just didn't realize someone got killed in the car.
That makes me rethink about, who.
Hey, man, man, I'm really sorry about your friend Toothpick.
I'm sorry, man.
Okay, cool, man.
I appreciate the call.
Thanks.
Have a wonderful day.
It's funny, too, he didn't go right to rapper.
He was like poet, singer song writer.
Very respectful.
Yeah, very.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, he's a rapper, though.
I know.
He's a rapper.
Poet actor.
Yeah.
What was that movie he was in?
It's really good, actually.
It's not about him rapping.
Not dead poet society.
Something like that, though.
Yeah, but it was,
Gosh, what is? I got to look it up. I wish Mike D. was here. He would know.
So they wanted a million seven for a car.
Yeah, a million seven for a 96. And usually, the blue book is like, probably like $2,000.
Oh my gosh. A million seven. I wonder what they bought that for. I wonder how you get that car.
Right. Nothing but trouble.
Probably evidence for a long time. Oh, poetic justice.
That's not the one I was thinking of that. Oh, above the rim? No.
But poetic justice is the one that I thought.
Oh, murder was the case?
No.
That they're gay.
What are you talking about?
Golf in basketball?
I'll look it up.
No, no, no, it's really good.
Nothing but trouble.
No, they're like, they're on the streets and they're gangsters.
Gang related?
Yes.
No, it's not called gang related.
Eddie, I think you're just saying stuff.
Gridlocked?
No.
Okay.
These are all the movies he's been in Bullitt?
No.
Just say yes.
No, I want to find out which one it is.
Do they have other celebrity cars at this place?
I haven't looked.
I just saw the new story on this car and so I assume they have other celebrity cars.
And the fact that he thought you wouldn't know who Tupac was.
Pock
Toothpick
Pock
Yeah so there's that
Ramundo sent me a thing
They said hey
Here's a bit idea
We always ask artists
Where they put their trophies
From their career achievements
But we never say where we put ours
So Ramundo where do you put your trophies
Yeah mine so
Right as where the sun's setting
In the corner of my apartment
That's where I have the three plaques
That you ended up giving the producers
Because producers don't always get the trophies
So I got
What are the day?
Those are 2017, 18, and 19 are the plaques.
But then when you first walk into my crib is the cowboy hat.
It's a statue.
That's when they, first time they gave a producer a statue was in 2015.
I got that right as you walk into my apartment.
What's that cowboy hat?
It was, I believe, the same one that Amy broke.
Oh, no, no.
That's the one I broke is a glass CMA awards.
The other one, the cowboy hat is ACM.
Oh, yeah, yeah, it's a metal cowboy hat.
Yeah, it's a metal cowboy hat.
But CMA is all glass.
What's your favorite trophy that you have?
My Gracie.
I mean, because it's different.
I guess for me, it's special.
And that was a special night.
So, yeah.
Eddie?
Oh, my CMA, 100%.
Like, you look at Garth and George Strait and all of them.
They're holding CMAs.
Carrie Underwood, holding CMAs.
I can do that.
I've done it before in my mirror, just holding up the CMA the way they did it.
My mirror.
That's cool, man.
You have the same award that they want.
Lexx.
Oh, it's easy.
My prom king crowd.
Oh, interesting.
Yep.
sits in the guest bedroom right there on the
Chester drawers. Who is
Lamer?
Eddie in a mirror
looking at himself compared himself to Garth Brooks.
Like doing a speech. Yeah, or
lunchbox with his prom king
crown.
By the way, I'm lame too, don't worry.
I'll come back around to my
I'm lame. I know, but I'm guessing
your favorite. In the king dangling of lame,
who of those two would you say is lame?
Probably prom king.
What? Acting like he's someone he's not
is a lot lamer than having something you earned.
I've been doing it since I was a kid.
My dad brought me this fake Oscar
when he went to L.A.
like on a business trip one time
and I would practice my speech
all the time in the mirror.
I've been doing since I was a kid.
Have you ever given a speech though?
Was it for an award?
No, never.
Well, we did ours.
Yeah, and he said something high school rules.
Yeah, Bill and Ted quote.
San Demas.
Mine's...
Dancing with the starts.
For sure.
And that thing's huge.
It's heavy.
And I do the final dance
every night before I go to bed
from that show.
You're talking about the lamas.
I do the whole dance.
and then I get my trophy handed to me again.
I'm like, yeah.
And then I say the speech again.
Okay, that was Ramundo's suggested segment that we did there.
And the movie was Juice, by the way.
Tupac movie, Juice. So good.
Oh, that's a good movie.
How did you not mention that one, Amy?
I think I did.
I don't think you did.
Hold, standby.
Let me go up here to this list.
Yeah.
Juice.
I said juice.
Well, maybe I didn't, but it's right here next to Poetic Justice.
I don't know.
If I didn't, I was like, well, surely it's not juice.
Maybe I did it.
Let's see
Where's Mike Dee?
I have all those stories I need to get to
And we tell me all those stories over there
All those papers
It looks very organized bones
You don't want it not
Well he's usually in here
When I'm talking about segments
He's coming in here
He's coming in here
Oh I just got dizzy
I don't know why
Like you got up and you got dizzy
That means you need to eat something
Or drink that water
You're dehydrated
Mike let me get the Harry and Megan story
Because I've been watching
Their separation
From the royal family
and now they're saying they'll pay for all their own security.
Do you see this?
Wow.
They are planning to pay.
They're going to get paid so much.
They are?
For anything they do.
So yes.
They'll be able to make money.
With their independent ventures,
they'll pitch in for security for unrelated royal events.
So I guess the royal events,
they'll still be having that paid for.
Did you want,
even watch the speech that he gave?
I didn't.
I didn't even look at a clip of it.
I give so little crap about the royal family.
Oh, I actually hear about it.
but I haven't watched it.
And it's like they're going, well,
their lives are not going to be the same
if he breaks off.
Isn't it,
isn't it though?
I don't think so.
Why?
Isn't it better?
Well, probably depending on, you know,
what you're, I mean,
that's his identity.
So much of that,
that's all he's ever known.
Like, that has been his life.
I'm sure it's very freeing
for him to step away
and like to be one of the,
it's almost like,
it is rebellious in that.
I mean, we're kind of like,
okay, you're just going to live
your life. What's the big deal? But what he's doing is a big deal. You're still going to be the brother.
You're still the royal family. Yeah. Is it a big deal? I don't, maybe it's just lost on me how,
why it's a big deal. I don't know. I think anytime you separate from your identity, it's hard.
Not that that's who you blame her.
No, I don't. I think that she's probably giving him the strength to do, like they're going to do it
together. Like, hey, I've got you. I'm here with you. I know this is going to be hard.
I don't know that he would do it if it was just him, but now they have a kid. And I think he's
just thinking of their family and how he wants to live.
And he's like, I just, I don't want to live this way.
I feel like she's the reason.
For sure, right?
Because everything that she's done, she's done that with.
And it's almost like they felt like that from the beginning.
Like even when they got married, they were all just like, oh, like her dad.
And there's always those stories about how she was just chasing fame the whole time.
Yes.
And again.
I don't believe that.
Why not?
No, but the stories were out there.
All they were the whole time.
And her, people were like, oh, no, this is what she done.
She wants to find the most famous person to be with.
And it gets no more famous than that.
She got a prince.
Yeah, like a fairy tale, a Disney movie.
I don't know.
Whatever.
But aren't they just going to fade away like anything?
No, they're not going to fade around.
No, no, no, no.
Like the dude from the crown or whatever, like the back in the day when he left the family, no one cared.
Yeah, but it was also 1910.
Like now the Royals are, like, 70s or 80s.
Back then they were celebrities amongst.
It wasn't the 70s or 80s?
It wasn't?
Like the guy who advocated, ad.
He came to the U.S.
Came to the U.S.
That was probably like the 30s or something, right?
40s.
So long ago.
Because Queen Elizabeth was a kid.
Yeah.
And she's like 90 now.
Right on, yeah.
Yeah.
Right on.
Right on, man.
He like died as a really, really, really old man in like the 80s.
Okay.
Right?
I don't know.
And he's like, well, no, I don't know, 2002.
Mamba number five was on the radio.
Right.
When the episode where he dies, like the queens doesn't even have gray hair.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We don't even know that.
That's the episode yet.
Listen, we don't know anything.
We don't.
I believe one set of tabloids.
You believe the other.
And it's probably somewhere in the middle.
Yeah.
Isn't it? I was watching. But one thing we do agree on, you and I at least, is they're not going to fade away.
No, no, no. It's just a different time, Eddie. But even Bones is like, I don't care. I don't read about that stuff.
And I think more people are not going to care because now he's not even part of, they're not even part of the royal family.
Yeah, but they're the more famous because they broke off. Like, they're now super famous because of this. More famous than they ever would have been.
Yeah. And they're right. They go up to her and they're like, oh, you're, and it's like, you know, had you not married the prince.
Right. She would be just normal.
I watch clubs.
of her on deal or no deal because she was a dealer no deal girl who's opening up the case
and um they make funny memes about that they're like here's how much money the royal family's
gonna have or here's how much money they're going to have now and it's her opening a five dollar case
oh well that that was that story um do i want to do a mailbag here
Raymondo do we want to open up the mailbag i need the mailbag about the where did my d go
what is happening here um give me the uh mail bag about the kid who doesn't want to wear glasses
All right, open that mailbag, Ramundo.
Here we go.
Bobby's Mailbag.
And you can send your emails in any time.
Oh, yeah, Morgan number two, what's an email address?
Mailbag at bobbybones.com.
All right, send him in.
We'll take your question.
Hey, Bobby, wanted to see if I get some advice from you and the show
on how to get my son to wear his new glasses.
He's 13.
He refuses to wear his glasses.
He just got them about a month ago
after the teacher informed me that he was constantly squinting at the board.
He said some of the kids at school,
made fun of him, so he's now insisting I buy him contacts.
Any advice that I can do to make him wear his glasses,
or should I just give him the option of getting contacts?
That's from his mom, Tara.
I think you'd be good at answering this.
Well, I'd have terrible vision, right?
For me, though, I found people that I thought were really cool that wore glasses
and just kind of was like, well, if they think it's cool, I think it's cool.
And it was buddy Holly and Weezer.
And I was like, oh man, they're nerds.
I was looking for other nerds that can make glasses look cool.
And so for me, that was that.
But I don't think there's anything wrong with...
If you can afford contacts,
I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
It's just a pain in the butt.
If he wants to wear...
It's just hard to make a 13-year-old do anything
they don't want to do.
True.
So maybe option one is,
I'd like you to wear your glasses.
Can we go and look at styles
and see if there's one that you would gravitate to,
whatever the style is?
Because for me, it was big, bold, black-grim glasses
because I wanted to look like Weezer or Buddy Holly.
Maybe he has a style of glasses
that he would love to have that would make him wear it more.
Because if he feels like he's getting
made fun enough, he's just going to take him off as soon as he gets to school.
And what's the use? Why would you do that if you're going to take him off when you get to school?
So if you can't find a style and you can afford it, I think you go to contacts.
You're just not going to force the 13-year-old to do anything like that.
Any of your thoughts?
Yeah, I mean, I think that's good advice.
And I didn't have to wear glasses as a kid.
In fact, I was probably the opposite.
In college, I really wanted glasses.
So I just bought some.
And I would wear them to class and I'd feel smarter.
What, fake ones?
Yeah.
And then now I love sometimes wearing my nighttime
glasses just because I feel like I look at the computer a lot and whatever's in there is supposed to be
like good for your eyes looking at the computer. But yeah, I mean, it is, it's hard as a parent
trying to get your kids to do whatever you want them to do. What's going to be good for them.
But even with context, they have to be responsible with like taking them out and cleaning them
and putting, I mean, I don't know what all that entails because again, I haven't ever had them,
but I feel like that's a lot of responsibility too. So what is your advice? What you said. I like that.
I like when her advice is what I said.
Everything you said.
Because it's not always like that with her.
It's not always, but I mean, I think you nailed it.
I think that's practical advice.
And then if he's a fan of you, I don't know if he is,
but if he happens to be a fan of the Bobby Bone Show,
like show pictures of Bobby and be like, look at this guy.
You know, anytime I see a kid in glasses, like big glasses,
I'm always, I always try to go overboard and compliment in their glasses.
Because I know glasses as a kid, you really can feel like, oh, crap.
Yeah.
I'm a nerd.
But it's only later that you realize being a nerd's awesome.
Because nerds are most times the boss.
They make a lot of money.
Nerds are the, yeah.
I mean, that's, nerd means you're the one that's learning and you like to learn.
And what happens with liking to learn is you are able to kind of elevate yourself by the knowledge that you have obtained.
So, um, I would.
What's crazy that the nerds aren't the only ones that wear glasses.
Hipsters.
You just people, yeah, like you can't see you wear glasses.
It has nothing to do with being a nerd.
Yes.
But it's just that.
stereotype. But again,
a lot of people get, who has contacts in here?
I did, not anymore. Oh, LASIC.
We got LASIC now. All three of you people are LASIC.
LASIC.
LASIC.
Morgan, number two, how's your new LASIC going?
Oh, it's so good. It feels so weird
to not have to, like, I can go to bed
watching TV and not have to have glasses
and, like, laying on my glasses.
Crazy. Ramundo, you wear glasses?
No, vision is 2020,
baby. Straight up. Yeah.
Amy, you? I guess 20-20.
Ain't all you guys have a good vision now?
Wow. Well, I mean, I didn't have LASIC.
My vision is so bad that even with glasses on sometimes,
if somebody's holding a cell phone next to me,
I can't read their phone.
Like, I'd be the greatest person to cheat on with a phone up
and just write text.
I wouldn't be telling you're texting with.
Also in the gym, I don't wear glasses,
and I've often told the story of all I'm trying to look in the mirror
and see who it is or look at a weight rack
or not even look in the mirror.
And people are like, were you staring at me in the mirror?
Or they'll tell their friend,
I went to the gym, Bible,
and just staring at me in the mirror.
And I'm like, I don't stare at anybody.
I came back and barely see myself in a mirror.
I'm so blind.
But my right eye doesn't work almost at all,
and my left eye's fading.
Fast.
All right, that's it.
We're done.
Hope you had a good week.
This is Friday show we're going to get into right now.
At the end of this show, you'll hear Amy kind of get on me a little bit about who I'm dating.
Mm-hmm.
A bit.
So you have that to look forward to.
Mm-hmm.
I don't really think I got on to you.
But you don't make it safe.
We used to be safe.
It was safe.
You shared, and it was safe.
I'm mostly shared
and it was mildly safe.
But at some point next week
we can do the everybody gets one question.
Would you guys like to do that?
Yes.
Eddie, you know everything.
But I still have questions.
I feel like my questions would be like
a lawyer's question.
I already know the answer but I'd like the...
Go ahead.
You can ask one right now.
What do you mean?
I'm not ready.
I'm not ready now.
Because I know everything.
So I'm not ready now.
Let me brew up my question.
Brew it up.
You're a witch?
Or a beer maker.
Okay.
Here is Friday show. Enjoy.

Good morning.
Welcome to the show.
More studio.
Morning.
We got a big Friday show for you.
Let's see what's happening in everyone's lives with What's the Haps?
Hey, what's the Hats?
A lot of people asking me who I have for the Super Bowl.
Now, if we go back to us predicting the Crystal
as the football playoff started.
Here were our picks.
Let's go to Amy first.
Here's Amy's pick.
Titans.
The Titans.
That say they're strong, so I'm going Titans.
Which, by the way, you did pretty good.
Yeah.
Here's lunchboxes pick.
Ravens.
They're the best team in football.
Eddie?
I'm going to go with the Ravens.
Okay, two guys picking Ravens, and here's my pick.
I'm going to go with Kansas City.
Oh, I love that.
Still there on them.
Can't go against them.
I'm still with Kansas City.
I think they're going to win it.
And I also won it.
First of all, say that because a lot of people are asking me.
Secondly, you know the guy I was talking about that left the game
because they were losing and they came back and won?
And he's the bad luck, they say, so they keep him out of the stadium.
He is going to Miami, but he's not going to go to the game.
So he's going to go to the Super Bowl, but he's a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Is their unlucky charm?
He knows that.
They've asked him to stay out of the stadium.
Collie.
That's so funny.
His name is Charles Penn, so they call him Bad Luck Chuck.
and so he's not going to the Super Bowl, they say, yet, but he is going to be in Miami, which is fine.
How exactly did he get known?
Is he like friends with the football players?
He did it himself. He's just a regular fan that just got famous because he left, and he made, he's like,
when I left, they started.
He did a viral, he did a video that went viral.
They were down heavily, and he walks out and goes, I can't be here.
I'm bad luck.
And he shoots himself, like he records himself walking out of the stadium.
Okay.
Then they came back right after that.
I just wanted a refresher as to how he got famous for this.
So he says he's not going right now.
But my move for him is he should go and wear a disguise.
And then after they win, he takes it off so he's then allowed in the stadium.
And then if they lose, just get out.
Don't let anybody know you're over there.
But so I'm still with the Chiefs.
And bad luck Chuck is going to be in Miami as an update, but not going to be in the stadium.
All right.
Hey.
Hey. What's the hat?
Amy?
So the side of my face is a little bit tender because when I was doing the Dustin Lynch album
release party in New York the other night.
I was entering the stage for the first time.
I mean, and I walked up onto the stage
a lot, but I don't know. There's some new
light thing there that isn't lit up. It's like
black and it blends him with the wall.
And right as I'm walking up, my face nails it.
Like right into my face.
Right as you're about to go on? Yes.
On a national broadcast?
Yes. I nail my face.
And Dustin Lynch's like the band
is spread out on stage. Dustin's not out there yet
because he hadn't even come out. This is the very beginning.
And his guitar player
looks and he's like, oh. And then
backstage afterwards, the guitar player came up to me.
He's like, I saw that.
He's like, it was so crazy.
Is it almost happened to me?
He's like, but I missed it.
He's like, man, you went right into that.
Are you okay?
Did the crowd see it?
Yeah, some people on the front row, there's kind of heard like, oh, I mean, but I had to,
the show had to go on.
So I had to, like, just pull it together.
But I didn't know.
I felt, you know when you feel like your face is just like kind of throbbing,
but I ran right into it.
It's why boxers, when they get hit in the face,
nose, they don't need to touch it.
Oh.
Because if you get hit in the nose, that's why they hit their nose.
because it's like they need to fill it.
Oh.
Make sure it's, did you ever, did you need to fill your face?
I mean, yeah, I kind of was like, oh, I just wanted to make sure I didn't break any skin or do anything because I went right into it.
So I don't know.
We can get me to get some yellow tape or something, put it right there or move it.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
Over to lunchbox.
Man, I got to say my mother-in-law, she tried to get me to check her out the other day because she's at the house and she knows I'm sitting in the living room.
and so she goes and takes a shower
and she could get dressed in the bathroom
after she gets done with her shower.
But no, she knows I'm sitting in the recliner
which is directly across in the bathroom door
so she comes sashaying out in her towel
and she's like, oh, oh, sorry.
And then goes scampering into the bedroom.
And I'm like, she's trying to give me
to check her out in the towel.
Okay?
I don't know.
I mean, I'm sure she just like accidentally came out
and she was like, oh shoot, got to go.
And you still have this thing in your mind
where you think she,
likes you to flirt with her.
She likes to flirt with me
and she tries to get me to flirt back
and she tries to joke with me
and like poke at me
because I'm a celebrity
and I think she, it kind of like
that gets her like
oohhoo like kind of tickles her fancy
if you know what I'm saying.
And so I mean
there is no reason she couldn't have
dressed in the bathroom.
Did you have this talk with your wife?
This is weird to even talk about.
I know it's all weird.
No, I didn't talk about it with my wife
because my wife wasn't home at the time
and so I think that's why
she was taking advantage of that moment
Oh my gosh, that's just not.
What?
He's saying like the mom was like being calculated.
Like, oh, my daughter's gone.
My son-in-law's here alone.
What do you think in her mind best case scenario was?
She thought I was going to give her the eyes and she was going to give her like the confirmation that, yeah, he thinks I'm hot.
And if you would have given her the eyes.
That I don't know.
I don't know what the next step would have been.
But I was just like, she tried to play it off like, oh.
And I was like...
But she knew you were there.
I was there when you went in the shower.
Like, I'm going to be there when you get out.
And you took clothes in the bathroom with you.
Why not put them on?
I'm just saying...
I mean, anything you like to say to this?
Like, I don't...
I don't know.
I feel weird, too.
Yeah, me too.
But I don't...
Lunchbox, I think it was just an accident.
Like, I don't think your mother-in-law is in...
Like, needs affirmation from you that she's good-looking.
I don't know.
That's weird.
You're also like the father of her grand...
children.
This is just weird.
How does she look?
Eddie!
Oh, I'm just one one of know now.
Okay.
His comments about everything else, but no comment here.
Exactly.
Hey.
Hey. What's the hatch?
Eddie.
I want to ask you guys, do you guys have your neighbors' phone numbers?
Because I was in a situation recently where I realized I don't have a single number of any
my neighbors.
So I don't know how to get a hold of them.
My dog got out and I got a call on my phone.
from someone who lives in my neighborhood
who knows someone that knows me.
So they didn't have my number.
They had to ask someone like, hey, you know Eddie, right?
His dog's out.
And so that's how I knew.
But I'm like, dang, if something,
I really needed something from my neighbors,
if I was out of town,
I don't have any of their phone numbers.
You?
No.
I mean, I have people in my neighborhood
that are friends of mine,
but not my direct neighbors.
That's crazy.
I got my neighbor's numbers
and we get packages for each other.
Like, if they call,
they see something.
If we're out of town,
like, oh, your gates open.
Was that supposed to be open?
So yeah, you should get your neighbor.
number. But you were intentional about that? Like, you went
to the neighbor and like, hey, let's swap numbers because we're
neighbors. Yeah, and we're friends. Like, we go over there
and barbecue and everything like that.
Oh, well, that makes sense. Yeah, I don't like that in my life. I kind of need
that. Sometimes they'll deliver the wrong thing
to me. Mm-hmm.
Especially go to the neighbor's house. I just
leave it out there.
Yeah. My neighbor
like got me when I first moved
over to my neighborhood. Somebody across the street, I'm backing
out and she stops me. He's like, hey, do you live
here? By yourself?
Yeah.
Any kids? No, I just said up by myself.
Trying to get to know you.
Well, she's like, what do you do?
Then I don't want to say. I was like, I'm in entertainment.
Do you party?
I was like, no. But then we had our one party a year, the Labor Day party at the pool.
And I was like, no.
And she was like, all right.
Have you seen her since?
Yeah, the day after the Labor Day party.
She's like, I thought you didn't have parties.
I was like, it's the one time a year.
That's true.
But I don't know my neighbor's either.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
All I do is read about the coronavirus.
which, by the way, 33 million people are quarantined now in China.
33 million people.
And if you don't think that's dripped out over here, you're nuts.
I don't want to be right.
I don't want to be right.
And yesterday I was like, I kind of feel like coming on.
I might have the coronavirus.
A possible case of coronavirus has reared its head in Texas.
It involves a Texas A&M student that traveled from Woolworth.
Wuhan, China, where the coronavirus originated and was experiencing symptoms.
Every movie, every show on Netflix, it's somebody that gets out and then breathes into somebody
else and then it's just, you can't catch it.
Yeah.
Officials say he's improving.
Nearly 1,000 people in China have now been affected.
It's a respiratory illness.
33 million are under quarantine.
Last night, I'm looking at the computer.
A Tennessee tech student being tested for coronavirus.
The Tennessee Department of Health says the Tennessee Tech student is being tested, had mild symptoms.
Had a travel history.
Yeah.
A robot doctor is treating American coronavirus patients.
Oh, that's cool.
So that way a human doctor doesn't have to get exposed?
They say it's a brilliant strategy to avoid spreading the mystery illness.
You know, our listeners already think I'm crazy for sure, but I'm going to add a little bit to that.
When the bird flu was a really big deal, I had a closet in my.
house that I built just for the bird flu fill it up water soup cans of lasagna in the can
if it could be held I built it in the closet I don't want you to think I'm nutty but I'm nutty
you have one now nope I'm about to have a corona closet yeah but it's not what you want
yeah a bunch of beers in there 16 people being monitored in Washington state for the coronavirus
this is all I think about health officials in Washington state are closely monitoring at least
16 people who were in close contact with a man.
By the way, what if you see this person on the news?
You're like, I sat next to him on the plane.
Because yesterday, I was talking about being on the plane
and the person on me, go, just coughing the whole time
and not covering their coronavirus.
Because for sure, they had it too.
And then Shanghai Disneyland closing due to coronavirus.
Uh-oh, what was that?
It's coronavirus.
Oh, no.
That didn't sound good.
I know.
It does make me nervous, though.
Anytime, because you can't catch a disease like that.
I did sleep really well last night, though.
I was sleeping so good last night that I woke myself up to tell myself how good I was sleeping.
Oh, wow, you're proud of you.
I was sleeping so hard.
And you were like, this is amazing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because I don't sleep that good.
And so I remember sleeping so hard and feeling like, man, I'm really, so I woke up and made a point.
I was like, you're sleeping real hard.
Congratulations to you.
It's a real highlight of my night last night.
That's good that you affirm your body like that because then maybe it'll give you that gift more,
the gift of awesome sleep.
I say, hey, body, looking good.
Yes.
And then went right to sleep.
I double comforted it last night.
My thing is, I like my room cold, but I like my comfort is hot.
So I like to keep the room at like 68 when I sleep.
And then sometimes if it's cold outside, too, it feels colder than 68, which it was cold.
It's wintertime.
And so I got two comforters and stacked it on me.
And my room was like, but my body was like, and maybe that's, and maybe that's,
it was the right combination to sleep and right. I sleeping so hard. And my move now, which helps me
is I watch the office when I go to sleep every night. I take it and I turn it every night,
turn the office on. And I sleep better seasons one through six and a half of the office.
Why is that? Well, there's just some character changes that I don't love. There's about a season
and a half of the office where they just don't really know who they are. Still really good.
But it's a struggle. And so I sleep better. And I'm in season three right now. It was perfect.
Last night was perfect storm.
I was exhausted from the night before.
Didn't sleep all the night before.
Slept well, cold outside.
The office season three.
Then you need to recreate that tonight.
But here's the thing.
Do the same thing.
I know.
Here's the thing.
I don't ever take the office and watch it out of order.
It has to be watched an order.
I never ever skip episodes.
I never cherry pick episodes.
But last night may have been the perfect night.
Just letting you guys know,
could have been the perfect night.
Well, you're going to have to wait another,
if it was that episode that did it,
However long it takes you to get that.
Well, I think it was just that part of the series.
Okay.
So, oh, should I play the video I got?
Should I play something?
I'm talking about the office?
Last night, I get a video from Jake Owen,
who, Jake O'n and I are friends outside of the show,
and he sends me a video, and it's Stanley from the office,
the guy who plays Stanley, who might name my dog after,
because my dog looks a bit like Stanley from the office.
And so here is a video of Stanley from the office,
the actor, sending me this from Jake.
Bobby, how are you? Jake wanted me to reach out to you and your dog Stanley and say hello.
He's thinking about you.
And he's still your friend in spite of some of the things that you've probably done.
Yes, he's still your friend.
And so is Stanley.
So you have a good one.
Enjoy your friendship with him.
He might even throw in lunch along with this video.
Good luck.
A hell of a good one.
That's the actor Leslie David Baker,
who plays Stanley from the office.
So Jake Owen's friends with him?
Jake Owen bought one of those cameo videos.
Oh!
And he got it from him and he paid for it.
Okay, I thought, I was like, what?
Jake and him hang out?
Okay.
So then I went over to see how much it would cost to send.
Jake paid $300 for this video to be sent for me.
Oh, my gosh.
Wait, wait, so what are cameo videos?
So let me say this.
Celebrities can do it.
Yeah.
So I'm going to say this.
about, and Jake didn't, I was asleep last night when he sent this.
So, but Jake does cameos for charity, meaning if you wanted to get on, well, you, you wouldn't
be able to, but let's say Eddie, you were just Eddie from the raging idiots.
Yeah.
People loved your band.
You would go to Cameo and they pay 50 bucks and they pay you and Cameo takes a cut.
Then you make a video and send it to somebody.
Okay, got it.
Basically paying for video shoutouts.
Got it.
Some of the more expensive ones.
Well, yeah, Jake paid 300 bucks for that.
But Jake does them and they go right to charity.
That's cool.
So he'll do it.
But yeah, there's some really expensive one.
Mike, pull up some of the ones that are, like Brett Farbs is $400.
If you want him to do a shout out for you.
Chris Sullivan, do you know who that is?
He's from This Is Us.
He plays the big guy.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's a $250.
Chris Harrison's at $500 for The Bachelor to do a video shoutout.
Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank, Mr. Wonderful, $999.
It's just to get them to cut a video.
Just like that.
Just going to saying.
It's like the Stanley one.
Yeah.
I guess they say whatever.
You kind of tell them what you want to say and then they send it.
Yes, pretty much.
But anyway, I thought that was funny, right?
Love it.
That's hilarious.
Okay.

Let's open up the mailbag here on the Bobby Bone Show.
Bobby's Mailbag.
Hello, Bobby. My question is this.
Would it be okay to ask a friend?
That is male to be my gym partner.
I've asked my boyfriend to come to the gym,
and he says he never wants to go.
This male friend is able to meet me at the gym right before work.
My friend is recently out of a relationship.
I've known him for years,
but we didn't talk when he was with his girlfriend
because she didn't like me.
Am I out of place to ask him to be my gym partner?
Please help.
Signed Cassandra.
Amy?
I mean, I think it might,
seem fine in the beginning, but it might lead to trouble down the line. So you just make sure that your
boyfriend is for sure, for sure, okay with it. I think jealousy's going to creep in, though.
I think it's all about how honest you are with the dude that you're dating currently. You absolutely
have to go to him and say, hey, this is something's happening. Are you cool with it? And if he's
coolant to do it, but if he's not, that's on you. I know if I was dating somebody and she was like,
hey, I'm going to go to the gym with this dude. I don't think I would care.
Because in my any friendships, relationships, like if I'm in, I feel secure.
And if I don't feel secure, I'm not going to be in.
So if we're dating, Amy, you're like, hey, I'm going to go to the gym with Brad.
Are you okay with that?
Yeah, I'm okay with that.
And the minute you're not okay with that, then you would be like, that's on me.
Well, I'm going to be like, hey, I'm not okay with that anymore because I don't know what's up.
But then if I feel that way, I'm probably like, what's the real issue here?
Because you can't be in a relationship and be worried about somebody hanging out with the opposite.
at sex.
But that's up.
This dude maybe still trying to say what's up.
Yeah. I don't know. I don't know him.
Is that every day? And then the gym is like,
are they spotting each other?
For sure. You know, you're kind of in.
Grabbing the waist and spotting on squats.
That doesn't happen.
You guys are creating something that you've seen on the internet.
Okay.
I would have no.
Here's my answer to this.
You just need to talk to your boyfriend about it and see how he feels.
If he's not okay with it, you don't do it.
If he is okay with it, you can do it.
Okay.
But that's a check with the other one.
I'm just saying from my perspective, I wouldn't care.
And if I did care, then I would not need to be in a relationship with that person.
Because why am I caring?
I'm not a jealous person.
And then if I start to be a worried person, then I'm like, well, I'm worried.
This is not a good place for me time to get out.
But is that the healthiest thing to do?
Just get out just because you feel worried?
Because it's on me.
If I'm worried, there's a reason I'm worried.
Like, why am I so insecure about it?
this is, I've turned this into a me thing.
I'm putting this on her thing.
She needs to talk to her boyfriend about it.
You don't just say yes.
You don't just say no.
You go and you talk to him.
If he's cool with it, you go for it.
But if he's not cool with it,
you better figure out why.
I don't know that a lot of dudes
would be cool with it though normally.
Would you guys be cool with it?
No, no, no, no.
She's going to be out of the boyfriend.
I think I'm a little bit different.
Yeah, I think you are.
At this point in my life, I'm not worried.
Every dude.
Because I think there's guys that are going to,
like I said, in the beginning,
they might be like,
go workout, but then the longer it goes and the more workout you go do and sessions at the gym.
No chance. Yeah. But, I mean, are you okay? Are you all okay if your girlfriend hires a trainer
that's a guy? Sure, that's professional. Different is his job. Okay. Okay, would my wife be okay
to be swimming lots with a chick and bikini? Probably not. Well, listen, Cassandra.
Good luck. No, not good luck. Yeah, don't do it. Here's my advice to you is it's not to do it or not to do it.
is to have this conversation with your boyfriend
and say, hey, you won't go with me.
I would love if you would go.
Will you please go with me?
Yeah.
Because I don't even have to ask this dude.
I'd rather you go with me than him.
And he says no again.
Be like, okay, well, Cliff wants to go.
There's also Amy's Dad.
But Cliff, and it's weird if he's going to say,
well, I'm not going to go and you can't go with him.
That's a weird thing too.
Yeah.
The answer is talk to your boyfriend.
Okay.
Every relationship's different.
If there's been any cheating in the past,
by the way, on her part,
There's no way anything will happen.
True.
Okay, and Morgan number two,
if they want to email the mailbag, what do they do?
Mailbag at Bobbybones.com.
And that is the mailback.
Thank you.
And that was Bobby's Mailbag.
By the way, I know that my version is not the popular version.
I think you should go talk to them.
But I also know how I live my life,
and that situation is not what most people would do.
Most people wouldn't be like, yeah, I'd do it.
I just, if I'm dating somebody, go, do whatever you want.
I trust you or I wouldn't be with you.
The end.
What do you want to do?
nude skiing with a dude have at it.
What?
No, you do not be fine with that.
I don't even think that's a thing.
It might be.
As we did New Year's resolution-y type segments,
Eddie said he wanted to read more,
which thinks a great one.
And so your only job was to read 15 minutes a day.
Yeah.
And how long do we give you two weeks?
You said about two weeks, see how far we get.
Okay, your due date is next Tuesday,
but have you stuck to reading 15 minutes a day?
Yeah, for most days I've been reading 15 minutes,
but there been some days where I've gone 30 to an hour.
You know, the book's really good.
When we went to do the shows this past weekend in D.C. and Virginia Beach, a little bit.
Eddie was like walking around with the book.
It's kind of cool.
I've never been able to do that.
And he wouldn't even read it for like, but he would always have it in his hand.
That's funny.
He would just be like, and he would like look at it and start reading it for a second just as a prop.
But you did have it with you.
I did. Amy, it's fun.
Like on a plane when someone started to talk to you and you're just like, put the bookmark back in.
What's that?
It's kind of cool.
I've never been able to do that.
So what have you learned from this experience?
So I think I'm a slow reader.
I just feel like my wife pointed it.
She's like, how far are you?
And I kind of held the book closed and kind of show her where I was at.
She's like, that's not a lot.
And I was like, well, wow, she's bookshaming you a little bit.
Yeah, yeah, a little bit, you know, because it's 300 pages and I'm about 100 pages in.
And she's like, I thought you'd be about at least halfway done with it.
So I googled, like, what's the average pace that a person reads?
and it says it's about a page a minute.
About 150, 200 words a minute.
And I was like, so let me clock it.
So I timed it.
I'm about half a page a minute.
So I'm a little slow.
So you'll get better at it.
That's what I'm hoping.
Are you going to continue reading after this challenge, do you think?
Oh, yeah.
Are you going to finish this book, though?
100%.
This is like when Eddie walked around with that gallon of water.
It's going to act like he's drinking all this water.
And then I don't really know where you are with your watering.
I don't drink a gallon of water.
It's a lot.
300 pages takes about 8.3 hours to read.
And do you think you put in...
That's crazy.
I can do a whole work thing.
Do you think you've put in four hours?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I would say I put about four hours in.
And I'm only 100 pages in.
Did you see the viral picture of the guy who tears his books in half?
No.
Because he has to carry around books for school.
And he reads them.
So he tears them in half because he's like,
why don't I need the second half of this book?
I'm just going to limit what I'm carrying around.
If I'm not going to read the second half,
why am I carrying it with me?
So it's this picture of all these books he has torn in half.
And he's like, I'm just going to carry the half that I'm reading.
Yeah.
And people think he's a psycho killer.
Lighten the load a little bit.
Yeah, he's like, if I'm not going to read page 400, there's no chance I'm reading page 400.
And at the beginning of this book, why am I going to take that second half of the book?
You agree with them, don't you?
Well, I mean, I get it.
Yeah.
If you're packed full of books, why not light in the load if you're for sure not going to, you know, not going to get into it?
Yeah.
Interesting.
I can't wait to finish this book and then talk to you guys about like, what are you guys reading?
What, November you think?
November. We'll probably do it like before Thanksgiving.
Stop. No, I would say maybe a couple more months.
I definitely want to watch the movie.
And it's called Just Mercy.
And you're halfway? No, you're not happy.
No, I'm 100 pages out of 300.
Well, check back in with you Tuesday.
All right, thanks, man.
See where you are.
All right, there's Eddie's book challenge.
Final day's Tuesday.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 32nd Skinny.
Kelsey Ballerini announced that her third album, Kelsey, will be out on March 20th.
She just released a new song from it called LA.
I've got some famous friends that I could call,
but I don't know if I'm cool enough.
And what's worse than spin.
Derek's 90s cover band Hot Country Nights
just dropped their debut single called Pick Her Up,
featuring Travis Trit.
Chase Rice surprised fans and dropped the album part one at midnight last night
with seven songs on it.
Here's Lonely If You Are.
Doesn't matter if it's last call
From a late night sidewalk
Little two buzz a little too drunk
You could have your hair down
On the couch and the quiet ain't loud enough
I'm Morgan number two
That's your skinny day
It's time for the good news
With lunchbox
There was a gas station in Michigan
The clerk is beyond the counter around midnight
He gets really violently sick
He calls 911
And they rush them in the hospital
Only problem is there's no one to run the gas station
There's people there trying to buy stuff.
The firefighters are like, all right, I guess we'll run the gas station.
They got behind and started running the cashier and checking people out.
They ran the gas station until they got a hold of the owner who sent someone up there to take over.
That's pretty funny.
Yeah, that's good.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobby Bone Show.
This story up the day.
This story comes to us from Florida.
A 36-year-old man had a warrant out for his arrest.
When police pulled up at his job, he's like, man, I've got to make a run for it.
He takes off for the wood.
and he sees a pond and he goes, man, I'm a huge fan of Rambo.
If I jump in that pond, I can just hold my breath and I'll be safe.
So he jumped in the pond, went under, held his breath for about six seconds, popped up,
cops still waiting there on the shore, grabbed them.
You know, they were just watching too.
The move is when you rob something and there's water nearby, you put a straw in your pocket.
Because then you jump in the water and you took air from underwater with the straw.
and they think after about three minutes
they've missed you or you drown
and that's how you go hot
you don't just jump in
or you do your lips
like a duck
look a dog
is that what Rambo did
and not a paper straw
or a hay straw
no like you probably got to go plastic
by the way have you used
Eddie's straw that he got you for Christmas
yes I have
the only problem is I have to wash it
and I have washed it and I put in the dishwasher
and he got me a little mug too
Eddie's gifts came in close
Yeah, but the straw, though, was the thing I looked at and was like, that'll never get used.
Yes.
Because you've got to put in the dishwasher.
I'm fine with washing it.
It's just I'm not going to use it every day.
He could have had that straw in his pocket and probably not gone to jail.
Boom.
There it is.
All right, lunchbox.
I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.

Get your Bobby Bones on.
The Bobby Bones show.
Okay, so I'll give you a company slogan. Just name it.
Okay, everybody's in. Amy. Lunchbox.
Eddie, write your answer down.
The slogan is the quicker picker-picker-upper.
I'm looking for what company has the slogan of the quicker picker upper.
In for the win.
Amy?
Swiffer.
Lunchbox?
Bounty.
Eddie?
Bounty.
Oh, Swiffer, quicker, picker, upper.
No, no, no.
Oh, no.
You have been eliminated, Amy.
Quick.
Wow.
One and done.
I had panic.
The answer is bounty.
Bounty is the quicker picker upper.
So is Swiffer.
No, it's not.
All right.
Amy, you've been eliminated.
I'm sorry.
Next one up.
It's finger-licking good.
I'm in.
Oh, yeah.
Whose company's slogan is, it's finger-licking good.
I'm in for the win.
Lunchbox?
KFC.
Eddie?
KFC.
Nice.
Whose is, mm-mm, good.
What slogan is, mm-mm, good.
Been around for over 50 years.
Mm-mm, good.
I'm in.
Give you a little hint there.
Mm-mm, good.
All right, three seconds.
Come on, lunch, lunch, box.
I'm in for the win.
Derry Queen.
Ooh, Jerry Queen.
Incorrect.
Eddie for the win.
It's a quick one if you get this here.
It's Campbell's Soup.
It is Campbell's Soup.
Come on.
Yeah.
Wow.
I know my groceries.
Oh, well, I guess my companies.
2020 is your year for games.
Dang, dude.
So far so good.
Amy, what's have it your way?
Hold on.
I know that.
Have it your way.
Have it your way.
Does McDonald's have more than one?
No.
Eddie?
That's Burger King.
Right.
Oh, shoot.
Who's the king of beers?
Budweiser.
Yeah, nice.
How about eat fresh?
Subway.
Nice.
What's in your wallet?
American Express.
Nope.
Capital One.
Yeah.
Nice.
How about nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach diarrhea.
Peptoe Bismal.
Nice.
That's their slogan.
Upset stomach diarrhea.
How about is it in you?
Like Gatorade?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Really?
Nice.
Yes.
That's a risky one.
Felt that.
There are some things money can't buy.
For everything else, there's...
Hint, please.
There are some things money can't buy.
For everything else, there's...
Come on, guys.
Eddie?
MasterCard.
Nice.
Oh.
How about...
Can you hear me now?
Good.
Verizon.
Yeah, nice.
First, they're sour, then they're sweet.
First, they're sour, then they're sweet.
Skills.
Limit heads?
No, that tastes a rainbow.
Sour Patch Kids.
Oh, duh.
Think outside the bun.
Taco Bell.
Taco Bell.
And then like a good neighbor.
Stay far.
Stay farm.
Eddie.
You never cease to amaze me.
Thank you, man.
That's a fun game.
Not even that competitive.
I'm not.
I'm really not.
We played this game when we were coming back for Virginia Beach called a heads-up
where you put the phone on your head.
Yeah.
It's fun.
It got really competitive.
Yeah.
Mostly you.
We have the headband.
I'm okay with losing.
It's a weird thing.
Lunchbox and I talk about all the time
because he can't lose.
Or else he gets really mad.
I don't mind losing.
Yeah, it got pretty heated.
And Eddie was cheating in the final round.
Okay.
Well, we were playing a music version of it.
And Eddie started singing the song
while me and my partner are playing.
And so they lost that category.
And then I was like cheating.
I was like, yeah, you're right, we're done.
I was like, well, I'm cool with that.
He didn't fight for it.
You call it cheating, but in my mind, it was just a brain fart.
Yeah.
Well, it was definitely cheap.
But you never play that?
that game you put up against your head? I have it. I don't have it on the phone. We have the
headbands at the house and you stick a card in. Everybody wears the headband and then it's
like just paper. It's like the box version of the phone version. The phone version's cool
because if you get it right, you just lower your head and it goes to the next one. If you miss it,
you lean your head back and it goes to the next one. We did movies. We did music. We did
celebrities. Oh, what's the acting one was really fun? Oh yeah, where they put a scenario
up and you have to act it out. That's awesome. Does that game cost on your phone?
I think it's like $5 or something. It's cheap. It's worth it.
If you play it a lot, you just pass the phone around.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Fun fact Friday.
All right.
So Steve Jobs became a vegan because he believed it would stop him from having body odor,
reducing his need to shower.
Which is weird because you hear that he had bad body odor later because he never showered.
They never knew.
Like that's one of the things.
Listen, I've met Matthew McCona a couple times.
Not great smelling.
Yeah, so why.
I know, but why?
Did you find that about McCona?
Absolutely, 100%.
It's not even, you don't even have to be right next to.
him, you can smell them in the vicinity.
I would say for the same reason as why I bring them up.
I think once you get to a point, nobody tells you.
The emperor has no clothes type thing.
So if Steve Jobs stinks, no one's telling him that because he's Steve Jobs.
Nobody goes up to McCona and go, all right, all right, all right, you stinky.
And let's be real, we don't know when we smell sometimes.
And neither one of them are known to shower or not.
They're pretty natural.
Can we just make it packed in this room no matter where people go in their career?
Let's, like Bobby, things really, really start to take off, take off.
Like, we're going to tell you if you need to shower.
You want that from us, right?
I don't know if I do.
What?
If you don't know, if you're just living life of bliss?
Listen, I love to shower.
It's one of my favorite things.
It would do it three times a day if I had time.
All right, what else?
So, get this.
In the early days of his career, Sylvester Stallone was so poor that he sold his dog Butkus for $50.
Then, after striking it rich by selling the script of Rock
he bought back the dog, but whoever he sold it to,
marked it up to $3,000, but he got his dog back.
Wow.
Interesting.
That's tough if you got to sell your dog.
Yeah.
I got my dog back yesterday.
I sold him and they made it big, bought him back.
No, I got him back because I sent him off to training for a little bit when I was gone.
I don't think he likes being away that long.
They said he got pretty nervous the last day and I was pooping everywhere.
Or maybe he's just excited to get back home and see me.
But I have to take him out and do things in public.
Like I've got, I'm going to walk red carpets with him.
I'm taking him everywhere.
And to do that, I got to make sure he's right, like military train.
Because I work with him and he doesn't listen very well, very well.
And he's been so sick and had so many surgeries that it's hard to be consistent with him when he's coming in and out of having all these surgeries.
But yeah, I got him back yesterday.
So I'm just like Sylvester Salon.
There we go.
What else?
Okay, so before he was famous, Bill Murray was arrested at Chicago O'Hare's airport on his 20th birthday after joking that he had two bombs in his luggage.
While no explosives were found, he was carrying 10 pounds of marijuana.
Marijuana. The actor, you know, later starting Ghostbusters, avoided jail but spent five years
on probation for that. That's crazy because I would go back then. It really probably wasn't as
big of a deal to say you had bombs in your luggage. Probably just that joke, but they probably
would still check. But you don't joke about something in your luggage, whatever it is, if you have
something else in your luggage, that you don't need to be found. Wow, that's crazy. What else?
Well, speaking of flying airline companies, they're putting an end to something that may affect
you if you like to travel with a service animal. Like, I've seen service.
like in the news, like service peacocks, my animal support llama or miniature donkey or miniature horse.
But now the only animal that's going to be allowed to fly are dogs.
That's it.
Let's be honest.
They're being pretty dopey with these.
You know, I have a service hippo.
Have you done whatever?
I know.
Have you ever seen that animal support miniature horse thing that goes to St. Jude?
But that's at a hospital.
Like people on airplanes?
But I mean, it goes to my dad.
apartment. It's pretty awesome. So yeah, just heads up if you like to travel with an animal.
I'm Amy, and that's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
I'll shout out Delta Airlines for this one. Delta had a really good year last year, and their
employees are now reaping the benefits. The company is thanking workers by giving them profit-sharing
bonuses. Delta is giving workers overall 1.6 billion.
billion of bonuses. That means every eligible employee will get a check next month for nearly 17% of
their annual salary. Wow. Wow. The company made so much. They're all getting that. This works out
to be two months pay. So Delta said we made so much money and because of you guys, we're going to
give everybody basically, if you've been here long enough, which is a year, I think, you get two
months pay. It's the sixth year in a row the company's paid out a billion dollars to workers,
but this is their highest amount. Isn't that crazy? That's awesome. Good for them. Yeah.
That's great.
I mean, good.
They don't have to do that, for sure.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Here we go.
Come on, Bobby.
Over to Amy with the Morning Corny.
Amy, what's going on?
Here we go.
The Morning Corny.
What do you call a snake wearing a hard hat?
What do you call a snake wearing a hard hat?
A boa constructor.
All right.
Tell that one on the job site.
The job site.
Morning Corny.
I can see it now.
Frank, you want to hear a joke?
Yeah, what did you got?
Stop it.
No, no, seriously.
I love when I do ones that are like career-based for people.
So one of the property brothers is dating Zoe Day Chanel.
You knew that, right?
Yes.
I don't know which one's which.
I know one of them, but here's the thing.
I don't know which one I know.
It's such a weird thing to say.
I'm not a good person.
There's the suits one and the casual one.
The one that I know is the one that did Dancing with the Stars before me.
me because he gave me advice.
And then I still maintain, but I don't know which one.
He's not the one that Zoe DeCinell is dating.
Okay.
Because he's got a wife.
I just don't know.
Oh, I think he's the builder.
Okay.
Okay, here we go.
So Jonathan Scott and Zoe DeChanel are dating,
but Radal Online says the property brothers are drifting apart because of her.
She's basically the Yoko Ono of the property brothers.
Why?
The insiders say, I know Drew.
I just found out because I read this story.
I know Drew.
The insider say Drew and Jonathan Scott are going their separate ways
And they're not close to the bros they once were
Dang
Jonathan and Drew both 41 have always known they were more powerful as a pair
But now the pair is Jonathan and Zoe
This happens
Does it though
It isn't even real
Yeah I mean why would she be driving
I need to know why
Why is Zoe Deschanel driving them apart
She seems cool
From what
Just that show girl
Her roles in movies?
New girl.
Yeah, new girl.
And, you know, she can sing and she seems nice.
I knew we were going to come on today and do this bit about what you gave your son.
And I didn't know what it was.
But now when I, because I was talking to Mighty this morning and she was like,
did you know Amy you gave her something like a clapper?
And it was like a clapper.
Is that one of those from like the 80s?
Clap on.
Clap off.
The clapper.
Yeah.
Well, he got it as a gift for Christmas from a friend.
So he really had one of these?
Yeah, but then also
Stashear, I thought it was cool.
So then we ordered more.
So then we have...
Your house is loaded with clappers?
Yes, but it started with the gift from our friend.
So wait, tell me how does it even work.
So you plug it into an outlet?
Yes.
And then...
Hold on me, hold on.
So you plug something into the clapper
and then the clapper into the outlet.
Is that right?
The clapper itself isn't a plugs in it.
So that way when you plug it into the outlet,
you don't lose plugs.
Then you plug the product into it
that you want to turn on and off,
whether it's a light or a sound machine
or a fan.
What if you clap and multiple clappers hear it?
Is multiple stuff go off?
Well, I guess if you have clapper in multiple rooms,
but you can set the clapper to two claps or three claps.
Oh.
So if you do two claps, then the two clap clapper will go off.
And then if you set it to three, then the other one.
But Stasheera has one in her room and Stevenson and his,
and their rooms are kind of close.
And Stevenson likes to run back and forth between the rooms and, like, clap.
And, I mean, I do think it's kind of cool.
And it is kind of fun to, like, lay in bed and just be like,
and then watch it happen.
But it made him late for school yesterday.
Like he wasn't downstairs in time for breakfast.
Once he got down there, he had not made his bed.
What was he,
what was he clapping to make him late?
He just likes watching all the stuff go on and off.
So he claps.
Then he would run to Stasheiro's room, clap.
And then he likes to make her mad.
She'll turn her fan on.
Like she was going to bed the night before.
This started the trouble.
She's going to bed the night before.
She clapped on her fan.
She wanted to sleep with it.
And he would go sneak up to her door and go,
And then her fan would turn off.
And he just thought it was the funniest thing.
And she would be so mad.
And she would clap it back on.
So anyway, he got the clappers taken away till Saturday.
So he gets them back tomorrow.
We can see if you can be more responsible with them.
But once they started affecting, like getting out the door on time, no more clapper.
It sounds like a punishment from 1989.
We took your clappers away.
I know.
I know.
I remember seeing clappers as seen on TV like years ago.
But they're fun.
And you can get them on Amazon now and they just send them.
And so we've been having fun with the clapper.
But I worry, like when I was in third grade, my friend's house burned down because their
lamp timer went off.
And that was something that was plugged in and plugged into the lamp and then a timer.
And I know it's a little bit different, but I get worried having stuff, all this stuff
plugged in and then plugged in and that if something's going to spark and then my house
burns down because I have like excess clappers.
Well, I mean, I worry about that with anything plugged in regardless of the clapper.
anything that you've plugged in can catch fire.
Yeah.
Anytime I've known someone whose house has caught fire,
it's been mostly because of some sort of electrical short,
more so than someone dropping something on fire.
Right.
So, yeah, that's the drama in our house right now.
You know, if that's the drama.
I know, I'll take it.
Life's good.
Yeah, you're living pretty good.
Right, I'll take it. I'll take it.
But, yeah, just, you know, something fun if you want to get that.
And it was a cute gift idea, too.

These are the 10 most
recognizable logos in America.
You'll probably nail all these.
Are you ready?
Ready.
Number 10, can you name this logo right here?
Google?
No.
Google Play?
No.
Can you name that one?
You do too.
Yeah, good.
And number 10, you didn't know.
Amy.
Okay, you'll know this one.
Number nine.
Amazon.
Yeah.
Number eight.
Adidas.
Good.
I'm surprised this was only number seven, ready?
Facebook.
Yeah, the blue circle with the F in it.
You would think that'd be one, two, or three.
Yeah.
Number six, Google.
Yeah, good.
This is why you should have watched the show sometimes.
Right.
Holding it out here.
Starbucks.
Good, at five.
And Eddie had picked Nike as number one.
It's actually at number four.
Number three, look at this one here.
This is the logo for number three.
Oh, that's Coke.
Coca-Cola, right?
Yeah.
It's not written in my sheet sometimes.
assuming that's what it is.
McDonald's.
Good, number two.
And the number one logo before I show it is,
uh-da-da-da.
Oh, of course.
Mm-hmm.
Number one.
Pepsi just missed the top ten.
Disney at 13, Ford at 15,
and Instagram at 17.
And so those are the most recognizable logos in America.
Do you have a favorite logo?
I mean, I love Adidas.
Or one that makes you go, like, I love Apple.
Yeah.
So I like the Apple logo.
Because I see it, I'm like, ah, it's my people.
I love the three stripes on shoes, on pants, on jackets, Adidas, so.
The YouTube one was tough, though.
That was for me.
I thought, well, sometimes on my Google play, kind of I hit play.
I even Netflix through my mind of hit play.
It's just that triangle play.
Mike, in Florida, you're on the Bobbyone show.
Mike, what's happening, bud?
Oh, my God.
What's up, dude?
You're on.
Something like that when you're in Virginia.
Hey, Mike.
Hello.
Hey, yes.
You're on the air, bro.
Hey.
Wow.
This is awesome.
Hey, everybody.
Just want to say hello and how much you guys mean to my wife and I've been listening
for, you know, eight, ten years ever since we were in Virginia and it's two-year-show
is fantastic and you do a lot for everybody.
And I wanted to say that, you know, everyone calls and says something about somebody.
But I think Eddie is a very underrated person and part of the show.
I think he's just my guy.
I like hearing Eddie all the time.
Why do you think Eddie is underrated?
Or let me ask you this.
Why do you like Eddie?
You know, he just, no disrespect to anybody else,
but Eddie just, you know, he seems to know a lot about music.
And, you know, he's a calm guy, you know.
I'm married with two kids now.
And, you know, he's a guy that is, you know, everyone talks to about, you know,
being married and, you know, I have the kids.
And, you know, he's just cool.
I just like everything about him
We should do
Hey Ramon Do you can you grab me some like slow piano music
Mm-hmm
Make it real like emotional
Well no let's just do an introspective of Eddie for a second
What
This is crazy
This is a good call
Yeah
Eddie has four kids
He is the most dad on the show
Yeah
Eddie is
If I had four kids
I would have to pack it in
I can't handle
I can barely handle two
My wife really has three kids
Me and two others
So
And Eddie was a second ago saying
And I hope you don't mind me saying this.
Off the air, he was like, the baby kept me up all night last night.
Yeah.
Because he has two foster kids and two kids of his own.
I mean, I'm 40 years old.
Have a baby.
It's just like, I mean, we didn't have a baby last year.
And just to have a baby like that and to lose sleep over a sick baby, I'm like.
Oh, is the baby sick?
Yeah, I think he's sick.
Oh, no.
Corona.
Oh, baby.
Oh, the baby hasn't been to China.
Oh, no.
Eddie is 40 years old.
Eddie is a Hispanic fella.
That's right.
From South Texas.
That's right.
Seven miles north of Mexico.
Born and raised.
Musician.
Singer.
Yeah.
Songwriter.
How long you've been married?
About to be 15 years.
What do you think is the strongest thing about it?
What do you think is like your biggest, most strongest trait quality?
Ooh.
I don't know.
You know, people say like I'm kind of like the life of the party.
Not in the sense of like I bring, like, I bring,
like, yeah, let's party.
But, like, people always say,
just when you're around,
it's like it feels like there's a party going on.
I will say that you are very pleasant to be around.
Yeah.
Like you're...
Positive and happy.
Very positive. Very happy, yes.
Like, you like to have a good time.
I do.
I will say Eddie and I, Eddie's one of my best friends.
And that he, I'm very much type A.
And he is very much, in a good way, type B.
And that's why I think we worked together so well.
You did television for a long time?
I did.
That's how you and I met.
That's kind of like,
the whole producer, like I was television producer for a long time.
And on this show, you are basically the same thing.
Visual audio producer.
No, no, video producer.
Right.
Anything else about Eddie we want to share?
Oh, yeah, this is the moment to shine and highlight.
For our new listeners, Eddie's our video producer.
He's got two kids of his own.
He's got two foster kids.
Yeah.
He's one half of the raging idiots.
Yeah, he's funny.
Oh, yeah.
I think he's the quickest, like the wittiest person here.
Yeah.
Behind you, you're really witty.
Oh, and he can do really great impression.
Oh yeah.
Like he can nail it.
That's true. Good one.
That's good.
Like Luke Bryan.
Yeah.
Hey y'all.
Yeah.
And that was right off the cup.
Jake Owen.
Just like that.
What's up, dude?
Eric Church.
How you doing, Amy?
Bill Cosby.
Okay.
Poodoo pupp!
Jello pudding,
yeah.
All right.
This has been an introspective end to Eddie.
Yes, yes, yes.
Thank you.
Mike in Florida.
I appreciate that call.
You got it.
Thank you.
And you know, Eddie's bald like me,
which I appreciate as well.
Oh, and that's right.
Oh, he also relates.
to you're not having hair.
Oh, yeah, it's good.
Thank you, man.
What do you think about him bringing that up?
I mean, it's part of life.
We're cool with it, right?
I mean, it's just what happens to the best of us.
Absolutely.
Okay.
You know, people used to, I'm a golfer, so people would come into a golf place and they'd be like,
oh, sorry, you know, I don't want to buy you anywhere and I'll get out of your hair.
And I used to be like, hey, get out of my hair.
What's that supposed to me?
Is that a ball joke?
You know, and I make them feel bad about that, but that was funny.
Well, I appreciate that, Mike.
You allowed us to an introspective into Eddie, what you've never done before.
So have a good morning.
Tell your wife, we say hello.
All right, bye-bye.
So this is what I was talking about where people are like,
oh, I can't believe it's fake.
Carpool, karaoke.
Did you see the news?
I didn't, but that's fake?
Well, it's towed around.
So he's not really driving while they're doing it.
Oh.
But who cares?
Yeah, I'm not surprised by that.
Me either.
And people were all butter-hurt over it.
We can't believe one of our institutions is fake.
Oh, my gosh.
The thing, the most fun thing is,
he's really driving.
Right.
It's that you're just singing songs
and it remind you of what you do
as you drive him to the road listening to music.
Yeah.
With one of the artists singing the songs.
The story is,
fans stunned after video reveals James Corden
does not really drive his car.
Who cares?
Someone got like a video of him in.
It looks like a Land Rover
and it's got the towing wheels on it
and a tow truck's just pulling him
and they're just shooting it in the tow truck.
You know what, as a matter of fact,
safer for other people on the road.
Right.
People get so upset about the dumbest things.
There is a hotel, by the way, let me say this.
Hotel is offering a free stay for 18 years if you can see there on Valentine's Day.
Canada's Hotel Zed says, for 59 bucks on Valentine's Day, you can go from 10 a.m. 2 p.m.
Sounds like a trick.
Sounds like a trick.
If you book this on Valentine's Day and welcome a baby nine months later, you'll get a free
day every Valentine's Day for 18 years.
Interesting.
Weird.
What do you think about that?
I mean, I'm sure some people are hearing me on that.
The dance party coming up is going to be duos.
I just got a text here that says, I'm kind of surprised since it's been announced that Bobby
was part of O-Town that the first dance party back wasn't boy bands.
Maybe we can do boy bands or, eh.
It's just...
No, does that bring back bad memories?
Yeah, it's, you know, I don't want to go there.
They're back together.
I'm not part of the group right now.
It's just a little bit fresh.
Mary Lou in Nashville is on the phone right now.
Mary Lou, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show.
What's going on with you?
Good morning.
I love to be here.
Thank you.
Well, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed that introspective on Eddie,
and I think it would be a really great idea if you guys did that, like, once a month or so,
and highlighted each of the members of the crew.
Well, and it wasn't really a bit.
It was just a caller going, hey, and my favorite thing was, you know,
I don't care what anybody says.
I like Eddie.
Interesting.
And what do you mean what anybody says?
What does everyone say?
He's the most underrated character,
not character.
And then it's funny if somebody says character,
but because person on the show.
And underrated, who's rating them low?
Right.
I love them.
Want to meet those people.
Yeah.
But yeah, I think that we kind of stumbled into something kind of interesting there.
But we'll always do what you guys call and ask for.
That's why I always say, hey, if you have a question or comment about the show,
call us.
And then that caller was like, hey, I love the show.
And I like Eddie.
And then we hit the music and did that inspected on Eddie.
I don't know.
That was nice.
Yeah, thank you.
Anything else, Mary Lou?
You have snippets of people on the way in, and it's just nice to hear more about a person.
Yeah.
Well, thank you very much.
Thanks for that feedback.
I appreciate that.
You're very welcome.
Have a great day.
All right, you too.
Bye.
Someone says, Bobby, how about a willet Uber with someone in a hazmat suit trying to carry the coronavirus?
Oh, my package is written coronavirus.
That will at Uber has hurt my Uber rating so bad.
I'm not doing it on my Uber account anymore
because I can't get a car sometimes
I need to get somewhere
and my rating is so low
because we've tried to prank people with Will at Uber
Yeah, that makes sense.
Yeah, so it's gonna be a while
before that segment comes back.
I gotta rebuild my Uber rating.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So there was a mom and the Chick-fil-A drive-thru
kind of a normal day,
but then all of a sudden a storm rolled in,
heavy rains, strong winds, lightning.
Like the mom said it's the worst storm she'd ever seen.
So she pulled out of the,
the drive-thru and went and just parked in the Chick-fil-A parking lot.
But her car was, like, shaking because of the storm.
And so her kids were scared, and they were crying.
And then she hears a knock on her door, and it's two Chick-fil-A employees.
And they were coming to get them saying, come inside.
It's safer in the building.
So they carried the got them all inside, toweled them off, and then fed them
Chick-fil-A lunch on the house.
Dang.
Yeah.
And then people were like, thank you for saving me.
And they said, my pleasure.
Yeah, there you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
So the trend on TikTok now, don't do it because it's causing fires.
And firefighters are like, hey, idiots, stop doing this.
But they're like, hey, stop plugging phone chargers into outlets and then sliding pennies onto the exposed metal prongs.
So you only plug it in like halfway.
And then part of the metal is still exposed and you take it and you, and it's flames.
People are doing it on TikTok.
By the way, TikTok's great.
A lot of great content.
And you know, I'll probably watch that and laugh, but just don't do it.
But now the Department of Fire Services says, hey, stop.
It's a prank.
Your house could burn down because of this.
There's another one people are doing on TikTok where they say guys, testicles have taste buds.
And they're taking them and they're putting on soy sauce.
And then they're going, mm, I taste.
I don't understand that.
I mean, yum.
I know.
Like both of these things I'm seriously that like, wait.
I should try this.
But I mean, I mean,
Listen, when I first saw the one where they were taking their nads and putting it in like mustard and soy sauce and I can taste it.
I wanted to try it to see if it would work.
Because what if it did?
Exactly.
What if you had a sore throat and you were like, I can't really eat anything because my throat hurts.
But then you just take your A1.
It doesn't.
It doesn't work.
It doesn't.
And you would just taste it.
It doesn't work.
Right.
They're doing the other thing to the challenge where they take the ping pong ball or whatever kind of ball it is.
And it goes through this maze and knocks everything over.
like goes all through the house. And some of them are like really intense situations. And,
oh, there's this one video where the family cat got in the way and ruined it. But then the cat
kind of like hit the ball with its paw. And it still went in the hole. And everyone cheered.
And I was like so excited for these people. And I don't even know them. Yeah. I think TikTok's the
best as far as content goes. It's fun. I've been on it for a while. Eddie joined yesterday.
I just got it. And I spent about 50 minutes on it. I enjoy watching it. It's crazy stuff,
Did you see, I don't know if you, Stasira posted like three videos last night and one of them I had to take down.
Because she got the, she learned the dance moves from another TikTok video in song.
And it, it, it's kind of said like the word, I don't remember what it was, but like the sugar spice or something.
And then during that part.
Sugar spice.
What word is that?
What word is the sugar?
I can't remember.
All I know is like, oh, no, the sweet spot.
Okay.
Okay.
The sweet.
I don't know the song.
Go ahead.
But the dance move.
she's like doing it and it's like a real cute dance
and then she goes the sweet spot and like opens her leg
because that's and I was like I pulled up my
TikTok because I let her have my phone
and she makes all these videos because I think it's fun for her
and I had to delete it right away
and then I had to have a talk with her about how
she doesn't understand what any of that means
but like that's not how we want to dance on the internet.
Yet.
No.
No.
Because I do like.
I dance like that.
But I mean I just, uh,
I didn't know if it popped up and you were to see it because I felt like, oh my, and I don't know how long it was up, but I took it down and I thought, oh my gosh, and Bobby saw that.
I could picture you calling me and being like, hey, ugh.
And I would.
Yeah, good.
Stasira probably, oh, and she was in her school uniform.
So she's dressed as like in a little schoolgirl skirt outfit.
I don't even like hearing this.
I know.
Like, I'm uncomfortable.
You're just talking about this.
This is just a reminder to parents that, like, yes, you can give your children freedom, but monitor as well.
and then it opens the opportunity for conversations about the sweet spot.
What, honor.
Okay.
Okay.
Well, what else you got in?
I just want to move.
Why don't we talk about food or something?
Yeah, yeah, that's a good idea.
Can we queue up a Morgan number two's food world to get out of this?
All right, here we go.
It's time for Food World.
Num, Num, Num, Num, with Morgan Number Two.
Taco Bell dropped their nacho fries again,
but this time, not only do they have regular nacho fries,
but they also have buffalo chicken nacho fries.
Man, of all the chickens, the buffalo chicken,
this might be the best.
It's delicious.
It's so good.
Taco Bell makes such good nachos.
They make such good nacho fries.
I haven't had the buffalo chicken nacho fries yet.
And, you know, usually when I go to Taco Bell,
I'm in two modes.
One is eat completely clean mode,
and I will, especially if it's late at night and we're on the road,
I'll get, like, their protein deal,
and it's a healthy option.
Or I just crushed crunchy tacos.
I will crush them, and I can eat a box of them.
Ten of them.
I can eat ten crunchy tacos.
But they do these not, they're not paying me to say this.
These are good.
These nacho fries are good.
But I have not had the buffalo chicken.
So what's the deal with them?
Well, you can get them as is, but you can also put them in like a little burrito and have a little taco,
buffalo chicken, nacho fried taco.
But they're coming back all on January 30th.
And they'll only be there for a limited time.
So you've got to get them pretty quick.
There you go.
That is food world.
Here we go.
That was Food World with Morgan number two.
Numb, num, num, num.
I'll encourage you to check out the women in I Heart Country Show,
which airs all over the country.
You know, I mentioned it on yesterday's show really early,
how when my last contract negotiation came up,
there were a lot of things I could ask for,
but I asked for one hour nationally pro,
because I don't get to program the music on this show.
There's not a lot of music, most of we talk.
And I said, hey, I want an hour to program nationally
in every market, whatever I want.
And so what I've chosen is to do a show
with all these female country artists.
And it's really the only way that,
except for like I bring on openers that are female on tour,
I try to do things that can actually help their lives.
And so we do the show, Amy hosts it.
I mean, it's a lot of the really great female radio talent as well.
I heard Angie Ward on your episode last week.
Yeah, there's other, there's guest DJs, so we call them.
And then there's throwbacks, there's the current songs,
and then there's totally new women that maybe you don't know.

Bobby boom, come on.
Marin will be in next week, by the way.
I think she'll be in for the Friday morning conversation next week, right?
Cool.
Well, a couple things.
First of all, Michael Hobby from 1,000 horses came by the house.
We did an hour-long sit-down on my show called the Bobbycast.
here is the song Smoke from A Thousand Horses
and they have a new song out now
which is called Drinking Song
Here's a clip of that
So it's interesting
You know to hear the story about a band that
Has you know tried to make it
They signed a deal a long time ago
Got dropped
Did a second deal
That deal fell apart
And they're back on the third deal
And he talks openly about
Hey listen is what we did right
This is what we did wrong
And he talked about having to pay for their first album
With credit cards
And they were going to just max out all their credit cards
And then he went to the bank
And got a loan here
A friend of mine who was the head of Avenue Bank
and he'd become a really good buddy
and he was always a fan of our band
and he believed in us and he gave us a line of credit
and he said, I'll never give you more
than I know you can't pay me back sweeping my parking lots
and we're like, deal.
Wow, so he hooked you up.
So he hooked us up.
They couldn't get credit on their credit cards
more of a line of credit.
So when they max it out, they were like,
we have to go as a buddy for a loan.
And they got it and paid it back.
And then smoked that song that was number one.
He talked about that song
and that was, they wrote that song
He wrote that song like the day before they started recording their album.
What about the title Smoke?
You know, he's looking at my hat.
And I was like, okay, that could be cool.
And like, I mean, it didn't take us very long at all.
And then we had it.
He sent me the demo at midnight.
And then the next morning, just the phone lit up.
And we're like, this is the one.
Like this is the first single.
Let's go.
Crazy.
And they wrote again the night before they started recording.
Now here's something interesting is that, you know,
his cousins are the Black Crows,
the two brothers and the Black Crows.
And we just get on this near the end of the podcast
because I haven't said this on the last.
the show yet, but Black Crows are coming to play in a few weeks in here.
Oh.
And they're going to do, she talks to Angels, they're going to do, I don't know what else
to ask them to do.
Did you do hard to handle?
Maybe.
But they do that whole record from front to back on tour, so they're going to come up and
play on the show.
And so I was like, hey, aren't you related to Black Crows?
This is this.
Christian Ridge Robinson.
So they're my dad's cousin, my second cousin, but my dad and their dad grew up, they were
similar to the same age.
That's who told me to write my own songs, was Rich.
I was like, hey man, what's your advice for?
A guy like me, you know, he's like, well, write your own songs.
He's like, don't learn other people's.
You'll have time for that.
But writing your own songs is what makes you unique.
So it's good.
Check it out.
It's called the Bobbycast.
But the fact that the Black Crows are coming here, too, is really cool for me.
I'm known for a couple of weeks now.
So I'm pretty pumped about that.
Here is, she talks to Angels, like those.
Check out the Michael Hobby podcast on the Bobbycast.
Just search Bobbycast, one word.
Wherever you listen to your podcast, tell your friends about it.
It's basically a music podcast, at least most of time.
And that's the latest one that's up there.
now.
Americans say Valentine's Day is more exciting than Christmas, which leads me. I have to do something
Valentine's Day this year and haven't had to do it for years. At least three. Yeah. What's,
what are you thinking? Well, I don't know. She doesn't live in the same city that I live in.
So, but y'all are going to be together, right? I would assume yes. Valentine's Day this year's
is on a Friday night. Which is great. Yes. So I guess I should get excited. I just haven't thought about
Valentine's it's been a real thing for me because it hasn't been for a long time.
But you know what?
I think I am more excited about it than Christmas.
Well, the last time you really did well, too, like you did Top Hat, right?
Well, let's not build me up.
Let's just let me build my life.
Let's let me build my life here.
You gave the gift of communication.
That was a good gift.
Guys, he's moved on, though.
He's on someone new now.
Right, right, right.
Yeah, that was years ago.
It's not like he can do the same thing.
Yeah, yeah, but we don't want to bring up what he did for the exes.
What have I brought up things you guys did for your exes while you were with somebody.
Exactly.
Okay.
It's all about the new girl
Eddie brought it up
Yeah but then you joined in
You jumped in and took shots
That wasn't a shot
You kicked when I was down
I was getting jumped into the gang
You took some kicks too
No I was just reminding you
Don't give the gift of communication again
More than four and five Americans
Get genuinely excited about Valentine's Day
Even more so than Christmas
Valentine's Day excitement
1 through 10 Amy
It can be low
I'm more excited about Christmas
You can say low
Okay fine so I don't know seven
No that's really high
Wow
Christmas is a 10
No, but that's, if you're, I don't think you understand how that one to two, ten works.
Jeez.
Oh, tell me how it works.
How it works is, if you're not, no, no, one through ten is not your own rule.
One through ten is if you're excited about it, like five is medium excitement.
Okay.
Below average will be anything below five.
You're probably like a two.
What?
You think I'm a two?
Yes.
Wow.
Knowing you, you're not romantic at all.
And this is not any sort of jab.
You know this.
You've said this.
I know.
I would say you're excitement for Valentine's Day is about a two or a three.
I love when you know me better than I know myself
Okay
Now Christmas, I'm a 10
Fair
Fine, Valentine's Day, I'm a 2
It just sounds so negative
Well you said 7, it's definitely not 7
Because I mean I'm not a hater
A 2 seems like a hater
It's not a hater, it's just you have no interest
Well, I have a little bit
That too, Mel
I'm gonna sign you a 2
Okay, fine, what's yours?
Well, maybe like an 8, 7 or 8
Oh wow
That's heavy
I'm not gonna take that away from you
I trust you
I believe you.
Do you say eight or ten or seven?
Are you new to the one through ten game?
I guess so.
Because five is average and you're not average about Valentine's Day.
Okay.
Or just being romantic at all.
All right.
All right.
And you're good at being romantic.
So, yes.
Let's not build me up.
I haven't done this in a while.
It's like someone who you.
But even you would say you're a romantic.
At heart.
Yeah.
And you have good ideas.
And even that go way back.
Like that playlist one was clutch that time.
Can we not?
Bring up all things right now.
How awkward is this?
Back when making playlist on iPods
was like new and you were like, here,
put these headphones in.
And then she hit play and it was like a whole
walk outside.
And then there's rose pedals down the steps.
And there's like music.
Bobby's waiting in a limo.
I'm not living up to my best moments.
I'm just trying to...
Like what in the world are you going to do?
I'm like a sprinter who hasn't run for a few years.
Like you know he's going to be fast after he gets loose.
I just started, you know, this whole...
This is new.
So maybe I just,
Like, how is she when it comes to romantic things?
Like, she could be a two.
Possibly.
I don't know.
You don't know?
This is going to be your first romantic experience.
Well, I want to say first romantic experience, but holiday.
Wait, have you been romantic to her already?
Whoa, yeah.
I think I am romantic at line.
Like, what have you done to woo her?
Been my charming self.
Have you done something special?
Like that.
Yeah.
I have.
I have.
Tell us now.
No.
Why?
Because I'll just get made fun of.
Not right now.
I'm not there.
Safe place, man.
No, no.
Come on.
No, no, no.
We don't make fun of you here.
All I do is get vulnerable.
Then you guys just punch me over and over again.
Not doing it right now.
But also, the things that I do, I wouldn't say are like the Bachelor.
They're more like I listen to things people say.
Right.
So she said something you listened and then you were like.
I'll tell you, but you guys are going to.
Okay, no, say it.
Okay, guys, don't laugh.
Just do it be fun.
I'm not laughing.
I'm not laughing.
Everybody be cool.
Because you're going to think it's so trivial.
And you're going to go what a dumb thing.
But it's thoughtful as long as it's a, okay.
You're good, bones.
Go ahead. Come on, dude. Let us be...
Do you know how many times I've been...
Morgan, number two, they trap me into this, and they kick me when I tell them.
A little bit. I know. You can just talk to me. I won't say it.
Oh, now you.
I don't ever kick him when he's down.
I don't even think I'm down, but you guys...
Okay.
Uh-oh.
Lunch, shut.
No, I'm saying he's getting nervous.
For those that are new to the show, I have started to date someone new, which is I don't even do.
I don't even talk about on the radio, because mostly if I'm just going on today, I don't talk about it.
but I have started to date someone knew we've been out a fair amount of times a lot and we were at a gas station or some place that is insignificant.
Why are you already laughing?
I'm smiling in anticipation.
You punker gas?
That's going to be sweet.
That's awesome.
And I'm not.
I'm not sharing right now.
No, my gosh.
You guys don't make me feel safe.
You guys.
I didn't do anything.
You don't make me feel safe.
Oh my gosh.
You're out of gas.
station.
What'd you do, Bones?
Yeah, you got the gas station.
It's nothing crazy.
But it's small gestures.
It's the listening that makes a difference, right?
Yeah.
So.
At some point she had said...
She likes gas station.
I'm just going to say it like this.
She had mentioned in passing one of her favorite
things, right?
Uh-huh.
And so I found a way to ship a bunch of that
favorite thing to her when she wasn't expecting it.
Then when she got home, it was all there.
Okay.
So you're at a gas station and she casually mentions something.
Very.
casually.
But this is a way to show her that you listen and you pay attention and that you're,
so then you were sweet on top of that.
And then you shipped her favorite thing to her house.
That's awesome.
Why would we laugh at that?
Yeah, that's not funny.
That's great, man.
Just what was that favorite thing?
I'm not telling you.
Because that's what's the funny part, guys.
We're missing the funny part is it was something like, tick tax.
Is it only at gas stations?
Um, beef jerky?
Red hot.
Oh.
Those like, one of the things they wheel around and the hot thing, like the tequitos.
Oh, the tequitos.
Gas station tequitos.
Okay, I'm done with this conversation.
Lottery tickets?
But my point is, I'm done.
Okay.
Okay.
But I am excited about Valentine's Day.
I just have to either get her here or me there.
Probably her here because I have a bunch of American Idol press to do that day.
Pickles?
Oh, good one, Amy.
Yes, Amy.
Sour pickles?
Yes.
In a bag.
Pickled eggs.
Big's feet.
It's just a product.
Yeah, okay.
Anyway, the whole point of the story is it's just about listening.
And again, it wasn't a helicopter ride into the mountains.
No, but it's cute and it's thoughtful and it's, yeah.
Okay.
Can we be done with this?
Slim jails.
Yeah, we're good.
All right.
Thank you very much.
Who's red huts?
It's funny.
Where do you get red huts?
Except gas station.
Okay, I'm done
I'm gonna go ahead and go stick my head in the toilet now
Okay
You guys have taken what used to be a safe space for me
Into like Bobby's beating your end
Wait, what about you was
Amy when I'm telling you
You're having to hold your face back from laughing at me
I'm not laughing
I was smiling with the anticipation to see what I'm happy for you
This is happiness not laughter
Eddie spent a couple days with her
I was there too
She's very yeah she's very yeah of course
See we're there
Eddie, how was it?
She's awesome.
She's great.
I mean, them together are cool together.
Like, it was great.
There you go.
I talked to her on FaceTime for like a minute.
That's true.
Like, I'm done talking about this.
What celebrity does she look like?
I don't know.
You can answer that.
I mean.
Eddie.
Oh.
Both of you guys can.
Go ahead.
Wow.
Like Julian Huff.
Okay.
Woo!
Yeah.
But like, I mean, a little bit, I mean, beautiful, like,
fun.
Her body's
like amazing.
Okay.
Yeah.
Stuff like that.
I'm done with this.
Yeah, I can't think of a celebrity.
Julian.
That is a good one.
She's on my TikTok.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
The end.
Did you make her do that TikTok?
Well,
she was,
she seemed like she wasn't on board 100%.
No, she was on board,
but she just didn't know
she's not a TikToker.
Uh-huh.
She did good for not being a TikToker.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
More later.
Not today, but more.
I can give you details.
Do you know what I matter?
I know the first...
It wasn't on an app or anything.
It was like a real life.
That's awesome.
I love that.
It was like a real life meeting
and like an accidental meeting.
That's great.
We done?
Yeah, we're done.
All right.
The year was 1997.
Let's do a flashback Friday.
Flashback Friday.
What do you think about that voice?
I like it.
It's my flashback voice.
Yeah.
I've been workshopping in.
Good.
Yeah.
1997, I was a junior in high school.
I guess you were a sophomore.
Yeah.
You're your younger?
Yep.
The biggest country song on this day,
1997 was One Way Ticket
Because I Can by Leanne Rimes.
I didn't know that because I can was part of the song.
I don't know either.
When you said that, I was like, I guess I don't know this song.
Me too.
But I do know, I know one way ticket.
I didn't know the parentheses part.
The biggest pop song is Unbreak My Heart by Tony
Braxton.
She had that dress on.
You get like see her hips,
which is pretty scandalous for back in the day.
Do you know the dress I'm talking about?
Like a white dress and the hips were cut out of it?
Oh.
I mean, now somebody wore that to church.
But back then...
I know.
It's a crazy house.
Songs they haven't changed.
And the biggest thing of pop culture,
the Spice Girls movie Spice World, was released.
The movie broke the record for the highest ever
weekend debut for Super Bowl weekend.
The film did $151 million at the box office worldwide.
Got a bunch of negative reviews, but it was still massive.
So there you go.
Spice World is the highest-grossing movie of all-time by a musical group.
Number two is The Beatles.
Number three is Metallica.
What about the Justin Bieber one?
That's not a group, I guess, huh?
I bet he beat him.
Oh, yeah, probably.
That's the deal.
That's flashback Friday.
That's a little different.
Flashback Friday.
All right, we're done.
What's up with you?
Nothing, just family time this weekend.
to see my dad today. I haven't seen him all week, which is crazy. You haven't been over to the
assisted living facility? No, because I was out of town and then just didn't have time yesterday.
And then, so today will be the day. And he'll be excited. I'll bring him over to the house.
He's probably like, come get me, please. Somebody. What about you?
I'm looking at my list here. I have a podcast today that I'm going to be a guest on a podcast.
It was supposed to be last Friday, but not this Friday. Nashville Lifestyles is a magazine here in town.
Yeah. I think they have a new podcast.
I'm going to go do that this afternoon.
I'm also shooting a video on my house today.
My top five favorite pair of shoes right now.
So that'll be up this weekend probably.
Oh, wow.
I know. It's a tough decision.
Man, you got a lot of shoes.
I don't know.
I count it.
I'm not even going to say, don't ask.
I count on my tennis shoes for the first time.
You can give me a number and I'll just tell you by visual.
150.
Ooh.
Where do you store these?
These are just tennis shoes.
These aren't even other shoes?
Right.
200.
I'm not doing any...
Oh.
Now unless there's no, it's more than that because you went up.
Oh.
It's visual only.
So where do you store these?
Well, my closet.
Have you not seen my closet?
I have, but I mean, I still feel like that takes extra space.
Well, there's four shelves going up and down.
I can put four on each shelf.
And there are three.
There's a...
Oh, yeah.
And you have like a master bedroom, like massive closet.
And just, yeah.
Just too much.
being a minimalist that I am, the shoes don't match.
You know, I'm not a minimalist in shoes.
I gotta stop.
It is size 11, want some shoes.
I probably have like 50 pair I can give you.
So I'm doing that today.
I'm doing some stuff for IBM today
because I'm doing something that's grammy stuff with them
and got to get on my bike and ride
because I've got to keep my street going.
Yeah.
Because I've been out of town most of the week.
So that's it.
Hope you guys have a great weekend.
