All right. The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show. I read this radio newsletter when I get off the air. Like, this is my stories. I read, look at Inst Stories and I read my radio newsletter every day. Apparently Alabama, who I know, it was on in Chicago. before we went on Chicago is on with our friends Carla Marie and Anthony now
Starting point is 00:03:01 at Kiss in Seattle. Wow. What is she doing, Mike De? I think of a coast. Yeah, she's on air. Really? Yeah. Good for her.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Good for all of them. They added some British dude too, huh? Yeah. English Evan? It's like their new morning show. What a dumb name? I'm just kidding. My name's Bobby Bowms.
Starting point is 00:03:17 My name's Bobby Bowms. I have the dumbest name. English Evan. He's joking. Yeah. I'm totally joking. In lunchbox? Like, we have the dumbest names.
Starting point is 00:03:25 And Amy? Eddie. I was feeling. embarrassed to say my name to new people when they're like hey do you what's your name bobby bones because i know they're thinking i'm a pirate or like a porn star or something or that's what i'm like chasing so yeah english that's what i mean dude like i'm just playing because i have a dumb name so cool that's like friends get together and have a radio show that's pretty crazy what's up having Alabama with carlo marie and anthony oh yeah yeah yeah it's exciting for them yeah
Starting point is 00:03:53 just reading to my newsletter here all right what else any other radio um do you care Did it make the news that Ryan Seacrest gave you a gift? No, it comes up later on the show, but it did not. Because it didn't come out yet. I didn't put a press release out. Who do you follow for the radio news? Is that a good follow? Nah.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Okay. I read a couple of these newsletters to see what's going on. So, no, nothing really else. I need some good follows for Instagram because I've just got nothing. I've got like a couple country artists and then friends from back home. Well, so why do you need? What are you looking for Instagram for entertainment? entertaining because I like to scroll through and see what people are doing,
Starting point is 00:04:29 but it's the same people over and over and like, I think more good podcasts. How many people do you guys follow, though? Because lunchbox doesn't follow anybody, so I feel like he doesn't get to enjoy Instagram. Let me see. I started following, hmm. I have 250, I'm following 250 people. Amy?
Starting point is 00:04:42 Hold, please. I'm following, oh, I need to go do a clean up. I'm following 496. That's not a terribly lot. I don't think it's terribly lot. I feel like maybe there's some I could, you know. Eddie, let me follow up. I'm with you, 243.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Really? But I guess they're just all boring. Mike D, how me, you follow up. 438? Do you feel like that's too much? A little bit, yeah. You do? Morgan, too, what do you follow? 10,000?
Starting point is 00:05:04 No, I follow 846. Whoa, my goodness. You like to stay informed, though. A lot of them are my friends? Well, that's why I have Instagram, though. Oh, wow, whoa. How do you even see everybody's things? I know.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Well, I, so you can always tell a story I look at the most because of the ones who pop up in your line. Carla Marie, Carl and Marie, Anthony is one of my first, first ones. Joe from Joe Amiboli Grocery store Joe, yeah He's funny because he eats everywhere and just tells how good it is He just goes into a place and eats and reviews it Yeah, it's kind of fun Nicky Glazer's funny
Starting point is 00:05:39 She's a comedian But she does like She does a lot of vegan stuff though And she does it on purpose to make people feeling comfortable She's like a little pig and be like Then that stuff I just scroll through I don't like that because I like to eat meat So I try not to spend too much time looking at it
Starting point is 00:05:53 Because then I feel guilty But then she does like headlines That she'll make funny comments about it So that's funny to me. Who else do you have, Amy, that you like to follow? That's cool. If I would recommend. Well, I'm just going to scrolling through.
Starting point is 00:06:08 I'm not really. I like follow so many. I do have. I like for Insta Stories, though. I'm talking about it's the stories more than Fee. Oh, Insta Stories. Yeah, I should have said that. Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Okay, I was looking at Pee. So Insta Stories, I love the home edit. They're just organized all the time? No, no. No, their page is all organization, but their stories is like Clea. She runs it. She only lets. Joanna send her things and if she approves it, she'll post it.
Starting point is 00:06:32 But they're funny. They post about their family, their life. She tells funny stories. It's not organizing at all. I mean, I'm entertained. Oh, wait, Bones, weren't you watching Caroline Bryan? Oh, she's funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah, I follow her. Yeah, I posted a, like a prank or something. She posted April Fool's prank that she did for Luke. Yeah. And other people. Yeah, it's pretty funny. She has good gifts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:56 On her stories. You know, Chrissy Teagan. I don't follow her on Instagram. I follow on Twitter. Oh. She's a good follow? Not the Insta story, but just the Instagram follow of Billy Currington cracks me up. Why? Because it's, I mean, he literally lives, he lives in Hawaii, and it's like Hawaii and like beautiful sunset, beautiful sunrise, going surfing.
Starting point is 00:07:19 And then it's like playing San Diego. Playing like, playing Omaha Nebraska tonight. It's like a concert and then beach life, beach life, beach life. and then playing like middle of nowhere America back to beach life. It's like the life this guy lives is pretty drastic. Okay, A-Rod. He's good. I follow A-Rod.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I feel like Edithating a middle of nowhere places right there. No, it's his life. It's how he's just like one day he's surfing in Hawaii and then he's like in the middle of nowhere America. And then he's back to like living his peaceful life in Hawaii. It's pretty crazy. It's expensive to live in Hawaii. Yeah. He's going out there a couple times.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Anybody have? Oh, A-Rod, in the story. Why do I like him so much? And it's weird, because you don't know the sports A-Rod, and he was known as such a sleaze. I never feel like... See, okay, so I don't have that at all. Really? Really, he's done a good job reworking his image on TV.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Yeah. But I still sit there and I think, man, you're giving us baseball advice and the whole time. But you cheated the whole time. He did? Sterelis. He got a bunch of steroids. I think a lot of people cheated. He was just known as such a scus.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Yeah. So, and you know all these cheating stories of him and J-Lo? Like all these women saying There's smoke, there's fire, folks Well, there's a lot of smoke I don't think when there's What you say? And there's smoke, there's smoke, there's fire
Starting point is 00:08:34 A lot of smoke There's been a couple women say that. Should I not follow him? No, no, you can do whatever you want I mean, whatever. I don't know his son's. We don't judge you. No, I mean, I don't know that he's a, ew, I don't know that he's not a nice guy.
Starting point is 00:08:45 I just like him and I like JLo too. Yeah. Listen, if you're entertained you, you're good. It's all you have to care about. Oh, John Mayer. I follow John Mayer. Yeah, I like John Mayer. She posts a lot, huh?
Starting point is 00:08:56 Yeah, he's into it. He does lives and, like, TV shows and stuff. Yeah, he does. What's this show called Current Mood? Yeah, current mood. Okay, anyway, thank you all. Let me see my notes here, stuff we didn't get to today. The show's about to start here in a second from today.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Let's see. Amy has her walking crew of famous friends that says. Who are your famous friends that you walk with? They're not famous. Okay. Yes, they are. Yeah, they are. No, they're, okay.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Go ahead. Give me one. Mary. Oh, she's just in town. Regular, my regular walking friends. Who did you walk with? I walk with Gracie. Who is? The wife. Gracie Mochler. Why are you stuttering?
Starting point is 00:09:36 Why are you stuttering? Because I want that they're separate from their husbands, but Steve Mochler is her husband. Okay. Sorry, one button. What's that? Famous friend? Go ahead. Famous. Caroline Hobby. Famous.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Famous. But she was in a group. She was, she's a singer. And then she's married to Michael Hobby of Amazing Race Star. Oh yeah, she was on Amazing Race Star. Get out of here. I totally forgot she was. The girl from Runaway June.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Yeah. Jennifer Wayne. And so, yeah, reality show. And she has a podcast too. Kind of famous. And then the other regular in our group is Natalie Pazley. Eric Pazley's one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Kind of famous. And we all live like super close to each other. We just walk and meet at a location and then we do our thing and then we walk home. Are there any ordinary people that you walk? Anybody's welcome. Oh. Do you have security guards, like walking with you guys? No.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Okay. Eric Paso made a really nice gift you after day. I'd send him a note. Oh. Yeah. So in my first book, I talked about how I thought Sunny D was orange juice. And we couldn't afford a bunch of Sunny D. So what I would do is I'd pour half into a container.
Starting point is 00:10:45 And I'd fill both containers with water, so then I had two. So, you know, it's concentrating my own sunny delight. And so he took a sunny delight glass. like a new, and made a big light out of it and like built this whole light. Oh yeah, he's so, he's so. Very handy and crafty. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I just sent him a note today. I didn't get it until late last night. We had Raging Idiot's practice until. It's late. Yeah, after not, almost 10 or so. It was our first time to go practice. We have a new girl who I took for American Idol when she didn't make it.
Starting point is 00:11:11 I thought she was so good. I was like, how do they not put her through? And so she lives in Nashville and I was like, hey, we're on. So she's going to play in Bakersfield with us and we played. I think she a little bit walking into that room. She's a bit overwhelmed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Because you're just part of a new band. Everybody there knows each other. Oh, yeah. That's hard. And there are like eight of us in the band and she's a new one. But it was good. She was good. And we have a new guitar player.
Starting point is 00:11:30 You know, so we did that until late last night. And I kept thinking, too, it's got to be weird. Like she was on TV not too long ago talking to you as America's mentor. Yeah. And now she plays in your band. It's got to be a weird feeling for her to be there like, all right, this is weird that this is what's happened in my life now.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Maybe. You know, like she didn't expect that at all. Yeah, I don't know. I think maybe she expected to get that. through an American Idol. Well, that's true. Bad consolation prize. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Sorry, you get a free hat. Here you go. Say you get to play with the raging idiots. But, you know, we did that till late last night. I slept a bit. I'm still off. I haven't slept. I was so glad.
Starting point is 00:12:03 I love when you walk in, you're like, I slept. I actually slept. And I'm like, what did you do? And you're like, I just ran myself so ragged. That's what I did yesterday. So like, new plan. Exhausted myself. Take yourself to exhaustion.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I think that's the plan. Be exhausted so I can sleep. I slept for like six and a half hours last night, which is a lot for me. and just fell asleep right after a band practice. So yeah, good. It's pretty good, pretty good. I was supposed to go on Ryan Seacrass radio show today
Starting point is 00:12:29 because I'm filling in from American Idol on Monday and I think he may be sick again. I don't know. I just got a call. I think we're going to record for Friday, but I just got a message she was maybe sick again. So let's see, anything else. Lunchbox has been clear to do the elliptical
Starting point is 00:12:46 I see in my notes because he's at a bone spur. Nice. Yeah, so finally I can do some. something, a little bit physical activity so I can get on the elliptical because that means my feet are still not going up and down and pounding on the bone spur. So you can't run yet? Can't run yet. How long until you can run?
Starting point is 00:13:02 Probably another three weeks. And you heard of playing soccer? Yeah. I'm just old age. Did you feel it when you heard it? No. It's just, it's calcium buildup and it just got real tight. So now I'm stretching it out and doing exercises and physical therapy and they get in there
Starting point is 00:13:16 and they massage it and they try to break it up and make it feel better. and it's feeling a lot better, but now I can do the elliptical. Are you at the age, Amy, where something always hurts? Oh, pretty much. I mean, if it's not one thing, it's another, and then I'm trying to figure out, well, what? I used to roll my eyes if people who said that, but my back is killing me right now. I think I injured it, but my shoulder, I'm still working on my shoulder. I'm doing, like, HGH from the doctor, trying to heal my shoulder.
Starting point is 00:13:41 It's always something. My wrist hurts. Everything's changing. I feel my body changing, and it's not because I turned 38. It's not like you turn 38 overnight and things change. change, but like, just things are changing. And they say that happens as close to you get to 40. And here I am creeping up on me and it's fine.
Starting point is 00:13:57 I'm having to embrace the change. I feel like curvier. You feel curvier? I feel curvier. But I don't know if it's because I'm like working out different. Is that a good thing? Or if I'm, I'm okay with it. Like your butt's getting bigger?
Starting point is 00:14:09 Some stuff, some stuff has been hard for me because some clothes that I used to fit me like three years ago don't really. So it's like, we do this weird thing to ourselves. as girls who were like, oh, I should be able to fit in that. Even though I'm healthy and I'm stronger than I've ever been. I feel good. Okay, or got, yeah. But, but, you know, and it's like a mind game.
Starting point is 00:14:31 I need to just let it go. Like, who cares if jeans from three years ago don't fit me? Like, I have new jeans. It's fine. Like, I don't need to stress about that. But I'm like, I'm just, yeah, I'm curvier. My butt is bigger for sure. Huh.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Definitely. You don't wait? I haven't weigh myself. I haven't weighed myself. But yes, I have to have. but I just don't know how much. But I don't want to know. Do you feel like that's because...
Starting point is 00:14:53 Because I know I feel strong and healthy, so I don't want to obsess over the number if that's going to throw me mentally. Oh, I obsess over that number. See, but I can't... I'll wait myself three times a day. Yeah. I wake up in the morning.
Starting point is 00:15:05 I'm my lightest. Yeah. Because I've slept, having to add food, no water for eight hours. I should say six hours, four hours, however long. If I don't get sleep, I put on weight because my hormones aren't working, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:18 It's April. I don't think I've weighed myself since August of last year. Yeah, August, September. What did you weigh back then? Like 1.15. You should hop up there today. Let us know. No.
Starting point is 00:15:31 No? No, because I don't want to, I know that I've put on weight, whether it's in muscle or maybe even a little bit of, you know, other like that. I don't know. I don't feel bad, but I don't want to be, I don't want to be fooled by that number because the number doesn't mean anything. I know that I'm healthy and I'm taking care of myself. and I'm strong and I feel good,
Starting point is 00:15:52 so I don't want the number to affect me. That's a good attitude. Right? If you can manage it, I couldn't. I'm too weak for that. I need to see numbers to kind of gauge myself at what I need to do. Like I put on a few pounds last week because I ate terribly, a pizza. Can you believe that?
Starting point is 00:16:06 One time? Yeah. But I have pizza. I know, but I want you to have that. And I want myself to have that too. I used to feel really guilty or I wouldn't eat anything or I eat lettuce and green juice. And I'm like, I'm over that. Like, I want to live life a little bit.
Starting point is 00:16:18 You're married with kids. I'm still out fishing. Oh, that's true. You got to maintain. I do. Because as soon as I get one, bleh. But I didn't marry for 12 years. I mean, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:29 still have to maintain. I mean, he may notice like, oh, she's put on a little bit of weight. What do you say that to you ever? I don't know that I've ever put on where it's significant. I know right now he thinks or he says, he says that I am strong and healthy
Starting point is 00:16:46 and he likes the more curves. He uses the word strong. he uses the word strong for you? Wow. Yeah, I am stronger though. Because you can feel strong. I guess it's like when I'm working out, I'll be like, oh my gosh, look, I'm lifting.
Starting point is 00:16:58 I'm doing this with this 20 pound dumbbell. Or like we got a pull-up bar. I still can't do a pull-up by myself, but I can do assisted ones. And it makes me feel really strong. I just wouldn't ever use that term for a woman until she told me to use it because strong is like big.
Starting point is 00:17:14 I like the word strong. I think you probably are stronger, but I wouldn't use it until I was clearer to use it. Or if she was trying to get stronger. Yeah. Yeah, I am trying to get stronger. Do you tell them, like, you can call me strong? I guess I haven't, but I wasn't offended by it.
Starting point is 00:17:28 You weren't good? No. You shouldn't be. No. I want to be, I just, I don't know. I want to find, like, a healthy place. We're all searching. We're never going to find a perfect place.
Starting point is 00:17:37 A healthy place. We're never going to find it. But we keep searching. But I feel like I'm there, but I did put, but I got set back when I put on these jeans and they I literally could not get them over my hips. and then once I finally did, I couldn't button them. And then the zipper broke. Oh.
Starting point is 00:17:55 It was a whole. Like it was a bad. Sounds like a three-studges episode. It was a really interesting moment, but also a moment of growth for me where I was like, you know what? I ate differently back then. I worked out differently back then. You had more time to do those things.
Starting point is 00:18:11 I have more time. No, no. I still am working out and eating and taking care of myself. I actually fuel my body more. I think I wasn't eating enough then. And, like, I was not as happy in certain ways. Like, I don't think I was fueling my body properly. Like, I literally drank green smoothies and green juice, like, all the time.
Starting point is 00:18:27 And I was like, la, la, la, I'm not hungry. But, I mean, really, my body was. It was like, give me some other nutrients and protein and food. Not necessarily protein from meat, but, like, I think it's important to build muscle. And I probably didn't have a lot of muscle then either. Well, maybe the, maybe the jeans drunk. Good luck in your journey. Close get small over time.
Starting point is 00:18:48 right? I know. Do you think that happen? You're close? No, do you know what I did right away, though? Because I could have fixed the zipper and then maybe kept them in my closet to see if maybe I could get back down to that size. But I don't even want to stress over it. So I immediately just walked in the kitchen and threw them in the trash.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Bye-bye. I'm a big fan of eliminating negative quickly. Yeah. Like, cut it off. You got gangrene on your thumb. Get it off. Yeah. Can't put those jeans on.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Trash them. Yeah, especially if they're broken, too. Well, they broke because I'm trying to force them. Like you could have donated them. Yeah, but I would have donated with a note attached. Like, sorry, broke the zipper. These don't fit. They also don't fit, sorry.
Starting point is 00:19:31 But they're very cute. I hope you like them. Good? Yeah. All right, we're going to clear out. All right, thank you. Here's today's show. Hope you like it.
Starting point is 00:19:39 And check out Amy's podcast. There's a new episode up today, right, Amy? Yeah. I've got Mary on, who is Bobby and his friend that we met on Twitter. So a lot of people are always interested in our friendship because it's like blossomed and she's become one of my best friends and it's weird that we met on Twitter. And then Kelly from Velvet's Edge is on talking about the latest fashion trend, which is 90s fashion. So all the stuff from the 90s is back and she tells you how to put it into your lifestyle without overdoing it. And then I have an apology note from a listener that was like hating on my adoption, but she turned the corner and I just thought it was very big of her.
Starting point is 00:20:12 And she said I could share it. And then I have four energy boosters that aren't coffee. So if you need to pick me up, you can try one of my own. of those. There you go. Check it out. Four things with Amy Brown. Here's a clip I'm being told of Mary Bee saying how she just started following me on Twitter because she thought I was funny. That was it. Yeah, because she lived in New York. She did not know the show. Yeah. But I just thought it was funny. Yeah. Well, then I guess maybe you started listening or you got to know him, but you worked for Mark Jacobs at the time. And I remember him coming into the studio
Starting point is 00:20:37 when he was like, so some girl that lives in New York that works for Mark Jacobs just mailed me a package of awesome clothes. Yeah. She was working a, she was in the expensive clothes. because she worked and got it for free. And then we became friends and Amy became her like her best friend and yeah
Starting point is 00:20:53 that's who went to Haiti with when you didn't go. Yeah, she took you to Haiti. Yeah, it was me, Nikita and Mary B. Okay, listen to that podcast. Four Things with Amy Brown. Check it out.
Starting point is 00:21:04 All right, today's show and it starts now. Hey, stop crushing candy and make the switch to Best Fiends. Hey, it's Bobby Bones here. Tell you about this five-star rated puzzle game. It's just better

Mr. Bobby Bowles.
Starting point is 00:22:11 And welcome to Thursday show. Here we are. More studio. Morning. Yeah, I don't know if it's that brides are becoming less and less grateful or if just the news is looking for these stories because the story I have for you to start this. The latest is a bride who actually called a guest to complain because the gift wasn't good enough. A woman posted in an online forum that her ex-friend just hung up on her after complaining that the gift wasn't good enough. She had a beautiful wedding, lots of guests, lots of wine and of food.
Starting point is 00:22:47 There were even fireworks and they left on a yacht. They had a bunch of money. But she complained that the gift wasn't good enough. She said that the cost of having me and my husband at the wedding was more than the gift we gave her. Wow. Like that they had to pay more. What? I mean, that person would not...
Starting point is 00:23:05 Crazy. That person would not be a friend. That this would be the end because this is not a one-time thing. This is a culture thing. You did say ex-friend, so... Yeah. The woman adds the bride went on to nag at me for five minutes because I was speaking. And then hung up and ended their friendship.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Wow. Yeah, I can't even imagine how they're a friend like that. This is the thing. I don't think this woman just turned like this. She didn't just go from the best friend ever to like, you know, a garbage friend. Right. That had to be some signs leading into this. But I read that today.
Starting point is 00:23:39 I've been buying a lot of wedding gifts for people. A couple weddings. One, Cody and Sarah are former interns. I sent them a gift. Because I didn't take it to the wedding. Do you take it to the wedding or do you mail it? Not any. Well, these days.
Starting point is 00:23:51 I haven't taken one to a wedding in a while. They went to the registry and the embodied gift. Yeah, send it. I mean, some people still do, but... Did you buy them a gift? I need to find out where they're registered. I bought them a vacuum cleaner. Ooh, baller.
Starting point is 00:24:03 I felt like it was nice. Yeah. And it was also practical. And so I bought them a vacuum cleaner. I'd love that. Yeah, I felt pretty good about that one. And then I had another wedding. Jillian Jacqueline gets married this month, the artists.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Uh-huh. And I'm friends with her and her fiancé, Brian. And I bought them a great. grill because I couldn't go to the wedding and I felt bad. Oh, so you went a little extra. Yeah, I was like, ooh. And I wrote it on the note, sorry I couldn't come to the wedding. Sorry I didn't an RSP, no.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Here's the grill. And then sent it off. So I definitely felt the pressure of having to get a good gift. And also, I felt the pressure too. I don't want me to be like, man, Bobby Bones, what a goober. He sent me a flyswater. But if they registered for it, it's something that they want. So no matter what you get.
Starting point is 00:24:44 I know. There's just a pressure. There's a constant pressure. Oh. But I liked them. I wouldn't go to that. wedding too. The worst is if you wait, which is probably me right now with Cody and Sarah, because I will have to get on the registry and I want to send something, but there's like nothing left
Starting point is 00:24:59 especially. But you have, don't you have a, is it a year for thank you notes after the wedding or you have a year to send them a gift after the wedding? Well, I know it's a year for thank you notes, but I'm not sure what it is for the gift. So, but sometimes you go on a registry if you wait too long, the only thing left is like a napkin or something really not that exciting. But you can also send a gift card. There's also an option on the side. But you can also send a gift card. There's also an option or on the side. Like, there's nothing else you can hit him with the gift card. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:23 I should do that. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let me know. We're about to try a live parody. This is just in. We're going to do allergic to dogs.
Starting point is 00:25:46 I found out of allergic to dogs. I went to the allergist, which stinks. I had a dad dog for 15 years. Looking to get another one. I'll take a pill every day if I want a dog. But you remember the song Different for Girls? Yeah. It's different for girls.
Starting point is 00:25:57 We're going to do allergic to. to dogs. We've never practiced. I just handed Eddie the little shit like 30 seconds ago. All right, let's see if this is even funny. I'm going to try to sing it like dirks. Come on. Yeah. This is called allergic to dogs. On a jacket and
Starting point is 00:26:17 walk in the park. I'm allergic to everything including things to bark. I take a pill every day. I get a dog anyway. That's right. A fluffy bundle of cuteness will be mine one day.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Even though I'm allergic to dogs, and that ain't no joke. We can't cuddle or wrestle, or my throat will close up. This rash on my arm, it ain't that big a deal. I'll just wear a full body suit that's made out of steel. A dog jumps up with his paws and he might get close. Fast forward through the pain, pushing back when it's. tears come on but I'm allergic to dogs we know yeah that's funny how'd you do over there oh bad terrible
Starting point is 00:27:14 the best part you know is it pausing in a jump fast forward through the pain pushing back on it oh I don't know yeah that's fresh fast forward through the pain pushing back when the tears come on yeah when I'm allergic to dogs thank you it's good stuff thank you there you go freshly written freshly performed the end wow moving on with it I don't have moving on. Sandra in Virginia. How are you, Sandra? I'm great.
Starting point is 00:27:41 How are you guys? Hey, I'm pretty good. You're being sworn as a judge today? I am. How exciting is that? What? Did you win an election? Did you get appointed?
Starting point is 00:27:54 Yeah. Who appointed you? The General Assembly of Virginia. Come on. Wow. So, why, are you nervous because now you're going to be affecting decisions of all of your citizens around? I'm less nervous about that and more nervous about the ceremony this afternoon because there's
Starting point is 00:28:12 going to be a lot of very important people there and not to big wigs and I wondered if you had any advice because we are a huge fan yourself. Yeah, I mean, every big wig was once a really little wig. And so they're no better. They're no better. They're just people. I've had to learn in a weird way because all these superstars come through the room. And at first I'd be like, oh, my goodness, this person's so famous.
Starting point is 00:28:32 But then you start to go, oh, we're all the same. everybody's the same. Everybody's the same. So wait, what kind of bigwigs you're talking going to be there? Well, there's people more important than I am. No, there's nobody more important than you are. Again, first of all, you have to eliminate that. So wait, what kind of cases are you going to be doing in Virginia? All sorts of general district court is where I'm being seated. So any misdemeanors or they considered our lower court, not a court of record. So no jury. You can
Starting point is 00:29:04 to just make the decision yourself? No. Yes. Oh, that would be so awesome. That would be... I thought you could say stressful. Oh, no, I'm stressful, nothing. Like, what if you go in and you're in a bad mood, Sandra?
Starting point is 00:29:16 You have to tell yourself, right? Like, I'm in a bad mood. I probably shouldn't be as mean. Because I know if I'm cranky, I'll give Amy a heads up and be like, hey, ooh, I'm not feeling great today. Like, just bear with me. You should tell, like, the criminals. Guys, I'm in a bad mood.
Starting point is 00:29:29 You have to remove myself. Just bear with me. I mean, do you think about that kind of stuff, Sandra? I do. I do. I'm just going to listen to your show every day. Amy puts me in a good mood with her joke and I'm going to go in there every day with a good attitude. I love that. Hey, go to this meeting today and is it all about you or are they swearing in a bunch of of you guys? Oh, it's just me. It's all me. It's very weird for me because I'm a very humble person. Hard to take celebration for sure. I get that. Me too. I don't like people to celebrate me. But that being said, obviously you've earned this. What were you doing before you were to judge? I was a lawyer.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Man. I think you're our smartest listener. Yeah, she sounds awesome. Of everyone. I think of all the people that have called, she wins. She's the smartest one. And so how long do you get to be appointed as a judge? My first time is six years.
Starting point is 00:30:20 Holy gross. Okay. Listen, will you get the Aunt Becky trial? Do you think maybe that I come over there? Absolutely. Anytime you want, Bobby. Well, I'm just saying, you should put her in jail. Okay, here's what's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:30:32 You're going to go today. This is not going to be the first time that you're going to go. going to be celebrated. Now that you have a position of power, some prominence to it, people are always going to be like, oh, this is Judge Sandra. So today's the first day. You just kind of have to get used to it. Nobody's better than you. They just aren't. And I tell you that, because I feel the same way, had the same problem. Be like, man, I have to go on all these events, all these cool, famous people. Everybody pees in their pants a little bit, you know? They do. That's right. I won't pee my pants, but you have made my day.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Okay. Well, thank you for calling. That's, that really is it. Come on. Look at this. That's amazing, Sandra. Do you get a black. black robe? I will get a black robe this afternoon. Wow. Oh, is that part of it where they put the robe on you? Yes. There's like a ceremony.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Well, that's the whole thing we're talking about. I know. The entire call is about the ceremony. I just thought she was getting like, I didn't know where she sits there and then they robe her. Oh, do they robe you? No. Yeah, they do. See?
Starting point is 00:31:26 Well, I know. I figured that was funny. All right. Thank you, Sandra. Appreciate that call. Good luck. Come on. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Yeah. Let's go over to Stephen in Austin. Hey, Stephen, what's going on, buddy? Hey, not much. Just that's good for you to tell you all. Hey, we're real good. What do you want to know? So I got a question for you.
Starting point is 00:31:41 I got the grocery store. Yesterday. I had a hand basket full of maybe five grocery items. When I got it for cashier, I put the entire basket on the previous up. And the cashier made a remark to me. It said, oh, okay, I'll unload it for you. Passive aggressive. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:01 So, for the, our phones are so messed up. Let me kind of translate what he said. He goes with the grocery store. He's got five items in a basket. He just puts the basket on the conveyor belt. And then the grocer goes, oh, wow, don't worry. I'll get those out. And your question is, should you have done that?
Starting point is 00:32:20 Right. Am I in the wrong or should I have unloaded the basket? Wait, listen, you should have unloaded the basket. I don't think it's, Judge Sanders, I can put you in jail because you didn't. But you should have unloaded the basket because then she has to unload the basket. or he has to unload a basket. Yeah. I don't think it's that big of a deal.
Starting point is 00:32:37 It sounds like the attendant was having a bad day. Yeah, or maybe you were like the fifth person in a row that didn't. Yeah, but I do think that's something. Just the general role is if you can make life a little easier for someone else, try to do it because wouldn't you appreciate if someone did that for you? Now, again, this is not a massive thing, but I do think that you should have unloaded the basket. All right. I was hoping for a different answer, but if it's okay.
Starting point is 00:33:03 But, I mean, this is that hard? No, I did it for her. Oh, wow, you did it. See, I would react. I've been like, I wouldn't have reacted well to her being sassy with me. Because then you can take the little basket and go put it back where it belongs, too. Did you do that? I did.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Did you roll the, I guess you didn't have a cart, a big cart, if you had a small basket. What kind of store was it? It was one of those organic fruit-frew stores? No, it was HD. Regular grocery store. All right, all right. Well, I appreciate that, buddy. Thanks for the call.
Starting point is 00:33:32 You were in the wrong. You were in the wrong. All right. Thank you. There you go. Thank you very much. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private, non-profit Christian University based in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.

Starting point is 00:37:40 HELP, betterhelp.com slash bobby. Betterhelp.com slash Bobby. The Bobby Bones Show. Let's go over to Raymundo in the glass room with the news this morning. In Maine, a state trooper was killed in a freak accident. a wheel came off a logging truck and hit him all he was along the side of the road. Such sad news. In L.A., that knife guy was accused of attacking at least nine people while he was on a bike
Starting point is 00:38:08 has been arrested. And finally, in recall news, at least 20,000 pounds of frozen beef patties have been recalled. Look for advanced Pierre Foods on the label. They could have plastic in them. What do you have over there, lunchbox? Well, it says that, you know how you drive on empty with the gas light on? Yeah. It is worse for your car because, like, little stuff that's messed up.
Starting point is 00:38:28 in the fuel tank and get stuck in the filter and so you need to keep it gassed up because you can do it severe damage to your car. Oh, I ride on empty all the time. Look at you. I hadn't thought about it. I'm crazy. I don't ride on empty because I'm scared that I'm going to run out of gas. Mostly, and I'm pretty conservative
Starting point is 00:38:46 in everything that I do that way. Time, gas. Right. Here's what I envision. I'm on the interstate and there's an accident and I'm on E and everybody's just sitting there and I'm about to run out of gas. And then I run out of gas on the interstate and there's nothing for me to do. I can't get anywhere. Wow, I'm not that forward thinking. Oh,
Starting point is 00:39:03 I've dreamed about that stuff. My husband fills up at half a tank. Like, if it's half a tank, it's empty. And I'm like, and then so when he gets in my car and he sees that I'm at half a tank, he's like, you haven't filled up? I'm like, no. Does he get in it's empty sometimes? Yeah, he's mostly the one that fills up my car, actually.
Starting point is 00:39:20 He'll get, like, that's there's been months where I don't even go to the gas station. It's pretty great. That's nice. Yeah, because he just kind of knows. Even with your kids? Yeah Somehow, like somewhere in the week or so He'll end up driving my car at some point And if he does, it just gets filled up
Starting point is 00:39:36 Well, there's also the thing where You know, sometimes you just can't afford To put gas in your car Yes But if you can, maybe you can keep it at that point Because like Lankterbox said it's bad for your car Because there's a lot of little things in there, huh? Sediment and stuff gets through it and messes it up
Starting point is 00:39:51 And then boom, you get towed, got to get it repaired Talking thousands of bucks folks I saw this story about these two students that hacked their school to get out of taking tests? Oh. What do you think about that? I mean, funny but bad. Two 14-year-olds.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Oh, wow, 14. In New Jersey, hacked their school's Wi-Fi network so they could get out of taking tests and it worked until the school traced things back to them and they were both arrested for criminal computer activity. Wow, so... They figured out a way to hack into the school's Wi-Fi routers and shut down the Internet.
Starting point is 00:40:21 And since their tests were on computers and Internet was needed, no Wi-Fi means no test. like lunch we want to say no no Wi-Fi Sorry That's right Hey listen They did something that's smart And they beat the system for a while
Starting point is 00:40:35 Well it's illegal What they need to do is start using their smarts for good Well this is what I think When I read this story By the way they were both arrested Charged with Criminal Computer Activity And conspiracy to commit criminal computer activity Wow
Starting point is 00:40:47 14 they have to go to Juvie Well I don't know what's going to happen This is what I would do Is I would say hey Because I think there's a lot you can learn from people that are doing things in a different way and even an illegal way. Like you go, hey, okay, well, instead of putting you in the kid big house,
Starting point is 00:41:00 like, teach us how you did this. Show us exactly how you did this so we can learn how to actually build against things like this. You're still going to get in trouble. You don't get a free pass for sharing, but it's not going to be as harsh. Right. You know, most times, too, like to find bad guys,
Starting point is 00:41:13 you have to go and talk to other bad guys and get them to. And then you're like, well, this guy's not credible. Well, nobody, no... Catch me if you can. Yeah, I haven't seen that a long time. I know you, but yes. Yeah. Leonardo DiCaprio.
Starting point is 00:41:25 He's in jail and they take him out in the FBI or whatever. Hires him. Well, yes, at the end, that's what happens. But, like, sometimes they take down mob guys. They have to go to other mob guys and be like, you know, tell me what happened. And then the courts would go, if you're believing a mob guy's lied his whole life. But you have to sometimes go to bad people and get them to rat on other bad people, even though they may not be the most credible.
Starting point is 00:41:46 So you go to these hackers and be like, teaches out you hack this, fix it up for us. And you're still getting trouble. Probably community service them. Yeah. You know? Anyway, I read that. I thought that's pretty wild. Probably as a parent, like, part of you would be, like, impressed by your kid.
Starting point is 00:42:00 But then they really need to be in trouble. It's a Bobby Bones show. Hey, Nicole in California. Hey, Nicole. Hey, I was calling in for an update on Stevenson, how he had a crush on a girl in Sharia's dance class. I was wondering whatever happened with that. So, yeah, Amy has an eight-year-old son named Stevenson, and he's been going to dance class.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Yeah, the girl's in his dance class. Well, I think the girl's in both of them, but whatever, yeah. And he still sees her and he still has a crush. Because he was going up to her being like, hi, what was his line? Oh, he would just, well, he would like freak out. Do you remember me? Like, yeah, he'd be like, do you remember me? And then he would get nervous.
Starting point is 00:42:38 And then he would like run away and he'd come up to us and ask us like, what should I say? And then he'd run back over to her. And we're like, Stevenson, you're being awkward. Like, you just got to go for it. Well, he finally went for it. How old is she? I have an ass, but I mean, she looks like seven eight. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Blonde hair. Cute. What do you mean he went for it? Well, he goes after class. Like, I'm there to pick him up. And I'm like, okay, buddy, let's go. He's like, wait, mom, I have to go tell her something. I was like, well, okay.
Starting point is 00:43:04 Okay, buddy. So we go over and his voice changes to this awkward, flirty, like, excuse me. And then he said, would you like to come over to my house and hang out with me? Like, real like that. Like, got real high pitched and. kind of like trying to be cute, but like not, not, not, not swath. Like, hey, you want to come hang out? Like, please hate you know.
Starting point is 00:43:30 So anyway, her mom, her mom is right there. And I thought, okay, what an opportunity to like maybe see, obviously the dance studios in our neighborhood. They probably live in the neighborhood. Like, what an opportunity to maybe like really make a friendship here. And the mom is like, so the daughter looks up with the mom and was like, yeah, mom, he wants me to come play with him. his house and she just kind of looks at us like that's that's not happening and i'm like stevenson's like deflated and i look at seems and i'm like oh come on buddy maybe you just one day we can hang out before or after dance class we don't need to make it like a play date thing because
Starting point is 00:44:06 no i'm like i'm feeling awkward like i've done something wrong but she almost looked at me like you know little boys and little girls don't play dates together that was sort of the vibe i got i mean she didn't say it but it's almost like she didn't have to there's maybe because my son's a boy and she's a girl and they don't do that. And I was like, is that a thing? I don't know. Sounds like Mama Bear's mad. She kind of even looked off into the distance and this is a small studio. The distance. The horizon. She kind of was like just looking off. Like I don't even know it. What?
Starting point is 00:44:36 Like Stevenson and I awkwardly just walked away and I was like, see you next time. Like it, it left me awkward so much so I made a few phone calls even when I left and I'm like asking friends like, is there like either two things came to my mind quite honestly. Well, I was wondering if it's a white girl and your son's black and if that's why the mom. I didn't want to go there, but it was that it was a boy. Or then I was like, oh, what if it's because she's confused by, you know, that he's a different race. And that could be a thing. Like, I do have to think of that sometimes, which is, you know, sad. But it was awkward.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Let me tell you, there's probably no play date happening. Oh, that's me. But, yeah, that's the update. He still likes her, though, and he went for it. And I was proud of it. Yeah, that's awesome. We have to work on his delivery. He can't, like,
Starting point is 00:45:20 He did that thing. You know, he gets real, like, girly feminine. And he's like, would you like to come over to my house and play with me? And I was like, Stevenson, come on. Nicole, there you have the update. No love connection. Me too. Like, I'm proud of him that he even tried.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Because that's tough. I know. And then the whole drive home, he's like, Mom, so is she going to come over and play? I'm like, I don't think so, buddy. Oh, man. Hey, thank you for the. that call. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private,

So there's this 13-year-old Dylan and he was receiving treatment for leukemia around Christmas time and all he wanted was a new bike. Totally looking forward to riding it once his strength returned.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Only problem is he did get that bike for Christmas, but by the time he was ready to ride it and strong enough, The bike was stolen. Wow. Anyway, fast forward a little bit. He's now in remission, and thanks to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, he's going to be riding a new set of wheels this spring because two deputies stopped by his house and surprised him with a brand new bike and helmet. That's good.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Yeah. Good for them. I know. It's a bike got stolen. I know. But you never know. His mom may run into the kids that stole it, and she can just get it back. From when you ran into the kids that stole it, too.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Amy ran to the kids that stole her son's bike Both, they stole both And then two That's how it was so obvious That it was their bikes Because they were together And these kids
Starting point is 00:50:54 Like five kids Roll up on these bikes And two of them Or my daughter and son's bikes And I ran after them I chased them down And I said Where did you get those bikes
Starting point is 00:51:05 And they said that A friend gave them to them And I said you're lying Those are my kids' bikes And I want them back And then my husband and kids Walked up And I said these are my kids
Starting point is 00:51:13 you stole from them. I said, but look, we're neighbors. We can share. You don't have to take from us. So anyway, I see the kid around still, and he says hi to me now. Did you get the bikes back? I got the bikes back. Immediately?
Starting point is 00:51:25 Yeah, like within five minutes. There was a marathon going on, so there was a bunch of bystanders. People started filming the confrontation. I wish I had that. I know. Me too. Me too. I don't know who those people were.
Starting point is 00:51:38 But I, yeah, they gave the bikes back. I was shocked. But obviously they knew. that they were stolen and that they belonged to them. That's good. Good, good, good, good story. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones Show.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Story up the day. This story comes us from Rogers, Arkansas. Two men were hanging out, and they both had bulletproof vests on. They're like, hey, let's go on the back porch and shoot each other. Oh, wow. Not to run the end of this story, but there's alcohol involved. Yeah, go ahead. All right, so they go out there.
Starting point is 00:52:14 they shoot one guy in the chest. Wow. And the bullets stopped by the vest, but it hurt a lot more than the guy I thought. So he gets mad and shoots the other guy six times in the back. And the one guy that got shot in the chest, a couple hours later, his chest still hurting? He's like, honey, you got to take me the hospital. I think something's wrong. So they go to the hospital and the doctor asks him what happened.
Starting point is 00:52:35 And the wife says, man, they were drinking. And they went out and they shot each other with ball-proof vests. Oh, my gosh. So they both got arrested and now they can't have contact. arrested. Oh, that's illegal? Wait, why? What if you're consenting to this shooting?
Starting point is 00:52:50 Yeah. Class D felonies, punishable by up to six years in prison and $10,000 fines. A felony. I wonder if they weren't supposed to have guns. Like, I don't know why. Yeah, because if they're both voluntarily shooting each other with bulletproof tests, they shouldn't be illegal. They probably shouldn't be, like, walking around.
Starting point is 00:53:07 But then they went to the hospital and told them what really happened. Yeah. But, I mean, you should always tell your doctor the truth. Isn't that what they say? Yes. Like, don't lie about stuff. Absolutely. Wow, that's crazy that two people would go.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Let's shoot each other with guns. Because if you just miss a little bit, like neck, head, or arm, even if you shoot yourself on the arm? And then it gets mad that it hurt. Yeah. I'd be mad too. All right, thank you, Lunchbox. Oh, my lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:53:27 That's your bonehead story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and my... Mr. Bobby Bones. Tomorrow's going to be awesome because Shana Doa is going to be in... They're going to play this song, I know. We'll see what we get him to play, though. It's 90s Country Month. Every Friday morning conversation
Starting point is 00:53:54 to be all 90s country artists. I just love country music, and that's why I do this segment on this day in country music. A lot of people have called me Country Music's youngest historian. Thank you. The Bobby Bones Show
Starting point is 00:54:07 On this day in country music. Although I'm 39 now. Oh, country music's middle-aged. Well, I don't know anybody else that's younger right now, but someone can definitely swipe in. This is about Kenny Rogers today. And you know this song?
Starting point is 00:54:20 You pick the fine time to leave. I mean, yes, I've heard it. I don't know it as well as his others. It was his first number one of the country charts. Oh. It was his first major hit as a solo artist. Do you know what his band was called when he was... The Gamblers?
Starting point is 00:54:35 No. It's a good guess. The first edition. It wasn't like a rock country band. Oh. Did you know that? No. Oh, good.
Starting point is 00:54:41 His own mother was named Lucille Rogers, by the way. Fun fact. Oh. You picked the fine time to lead me loose. On this day in 1977, Kenny Rogers has his first number one of the country charts. with Lucille. It's fun, huh? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:54 Learn a little something there. That was. On this day and country music. The Bobby Bone Show. Cynthia in Alabama, what's happening? Hey, you're a hard person to get in touch with. Well, how hard are you been trying? For months now.
Starting point is 00:55:10 Come on, Cynthia. It's not that hard. You're a popular man. Come on. So, wait, you've been calling and not getting through for months? It's busy, busy, busy. Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:23 Well, I'm sorry. I'm glad you got through, though. Good to talk to you. What would you like to say? Oh, I just want to tell you that I love the show. I follow you on American Idol. I follow you on Dancing on the Stars. I just love everybody on the show.
Starting point is 00:55:35 I just love it. Oh, well, thanks. Let's go around the room and I'll say something nice about... Well, let's let's let Cynthia something nice about everybody in the room. I like this. I think this is a good bit. Cynthia, you said something nice about me, so I'm good enough. Say something about Amy now.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Well, Amy's just funny. I just love her stories. I love to hear about her children. I just love the story about her children. Amy. Thank you. Not a lot of people say I'm funny, so I'll take it. I say you're funny all the time.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Oh, really? I love that. Yeah, she's so random, right? Let's go over to the lunchbox. She's something about lunchbox, Cynthia. Lunchbox is a character. Lunchbox is, he reminds me of me because he likes to make everybody laugh, and he has his own, what do you say, like his own appeal.
Starting point is 00:56:14 He doesn't care what anybody thinks. He says what he thinks. He says what he thinks, and he doesn't care what you think. There you have, lunchbox, what you like to say? You must be a small. a smart woman and an amazing person to hang out with. There you go. Let's go over one more.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Our producer, Eddie, do you have anything to say about Eddie? Eddie. I really don't know. I don't know. Eddie's just, I don't know. I'm not really sure about it. What would you like to say about that, Eddie? Wow.
Starting point is 00:56:35 I mean, then we need to get to know each other better then. Did you hear Eddie foster two extra kids? Yeah, I was in Nashville two years ago, and I tried and tried to find the show. And, I mean, I was like soccer vision that week I was there. I mean, I was trying to get in touch. with y'all. She doesn't. She doesn't.
Starting point is 00:56:54 She moved on a Nashville. Sorry, Eddie. I love you, though. She doesn't, though, because she doesn't know anything about you. I love you too, Cynthia. It's okay. Hey, listen, Cynthia, I'm going to send you a sign book. How about that?
Starting point is 00:57:02 Because I appreciate the game. You just went around the room. You didn't have to do that. So I'm going to sign a copy of my last book. It's called Fail Until You Don't. If you want it, and I'll send it to you. How about that? Oh, I would love that.
Starting point is 00:57:12 Thank you so much. Anything you'd like to walk out on? You drop the mic statement. Go ahead. I dropped the mic statement. I just stood outside my house because I have no service in my house for 35 minutes. It's the time. Wow.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Come on. Wow. Look at this, Cynthia. Hey, thank you, Cynthia. I'm not going to hang up on you. I'm going to put you on hold. I'm going to send you a signed book, okay? Oh, thank you so much.

Starting point is 01:01:09 One of these Harry Potter typo books, is going for $90,000 in an auction. A copy of the first in the series of Harry Potter's books that is an error book, they say. Just went for $90,000 in a London auction. And it's just misspelled words like philosopher. It really just a bunch of mess-ups. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:01:31 So thousands of dollars for a book with mistakes. Are that crazy? It's just a rarity. You try to find the rarities. I never read Harry Potter. I think it's pretty cool that people are so passionate about it. Morgan number two, you loved Harry Potter, huh? Yeah, I loved it.
Starting point is 01:01:43 My mom read all the books to us when we were growing up. That was like our nighttime stories where it's Harry Potter. How many of them are there bookwise? I want to say they're six. Were they easy reads? Yeah, I mean, they weren't hard by any means. Like, I think I was like seven or eight when we first started and then... You loved it?
Starting point is 01:02:01 Yeah, oh yeah. Seen all the movies? Yes. It's all good. Like, Harry Potter is the best thing to binge. Will Daniel Radcliffe ever not be Harry Potter to you? No. He's always typecast.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Yep, every time. about the most typecast things. Think about this, guys. The people that you think of and are always going to be that character from like our lifetimes. And I would list off Urkel, because Jillo White will always be Urkel from Family Matters. All he's like a character was so distinct. Mark Paul Gossler will always be Zach Morris and he's tried to do other stuff. But that was such a big part of our culture was saved by the bell. It's hard for those people and friends and some of them have done a better job. Jennifer Anderson's done a bit. Matt La Blanc's done a bit.
Starting point is 01:02:42 But because that show gets shown so much still, it's hard for them to shake that. They've been super typecast as that kind of person. Oh, it's like I watch it so much now that when I see Joey now, I'm like, I feel like he's aged overnight or something. But he really hasn't. It's just I see Joey and then I see Joey. I'm like, whoa. Most typecast people from your lifetime, when you can't think of them is anything else, Amy? Screech.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Oh. Great one. Good one. Dustin Dime. And I feel bad for that dude because he's tried. And he just... Yeah. Lunchbox? Kramer will always be Kramer.
Starting point is 01:03:21 Yeah, good one. And then Ashton Kutcher will always be Kelsso on that 70 show for me. Yeah, I guess I didn't watch that 70 show that much. So I'm good with Ashton doing other... I've seen him do other stuff. Because he was big in that Netflix show. The Ranch. Yeah, the ranch.
Starting point is 01:03:36 Eddie, what about you, anybody? George Costanza. I mean, when George... I mean, no. he can do whatever he wants to do but he's still George to meet. McCauley Calkin for Home Alone which is tough
Starting point is 01:03:46 he's tried to do some other stuff and he had a couple good movies remember the movie did what the girl got stung by the bees oh yeah my girl I'd you say show girls? No
Starting point is 01:03:56 well oh the Olson twins they're always those girls on the full house yeah Michelle the guy from karate kid Ralph Machio
Starting point is 01:04:07 that dude's tried Carlton from Fresh Friends He does America It's funny as videos now Yeah and you know what I see it before American Idol comes on He's pretty good
Starting point is 01:04:20 He is good Yeah he's a pretty good little host there So and then obviously Daniel Ratcliffe From Harry Potter That's pretty interesting huh Like that Would you rather It's like a one hit wonder
Starting point is 01:04:29 We were talking to an artist about this recently Would you rather have a one hit wonder And be a smash and not have another hit Or have a few songs He just did it kind of okay the same thing with being a TV star Amy would you rather be a massive typecast or just have a few shows that did okay
Starting point is 01:04:43 and you just keep working but you never like pierced the consciousness of America. That's hard. Because obviously to have something that's a huge success would be amazing but if it's like your craft and your passion and you want to keep at it and have opportunities
Starting point is 01:04:57 then I would want to keep going. Put that money. Like for kids college. Which one pays more? Probably the biggest to be biggest for one thing if you use it right. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:07 You have to use it right. Because, I mean, screech. That didn't work out so great. Yeah, I know. What about you? What would you choose? Probably the one-hit wonder. You just have to be good about it in your heart.
Starting point is 01:05:18 Because they're always going to know you for that. Some of one-hit wonders or one-hit one-roll wonders are not nice. I've heard some not pleasant things about some of the people we just talked about because they just hang on and they don't want to be called that. But you're like, you're only Urkel. It's got to be tough. And even like the one-hit wonders, some of them don't want to play their one-hit. They're like, we're much bigger than this.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Yeah, but we all know you. from that. They're artists. They get to do what they want to do. They get to make their way. And I'm okay with that. But again, don't be mad when people only want to hear
Starting point is 01:05:43 tub-thumping Chumbawamba. Like that's your... Or Bobby McFerrin who had, Don't worry. Be happy. He doesn't play that song. Because he's like, I don't even like that song.
Starting point is 01:05:54 It was just one, you know, massive hit. Yeah, that's a bummer. But it's a tough one. I thought that was interesting. It's a Bobby Bones show. That Harry Potter book went for $90,000 in an auction because there were errors in it.
Starting point is 01:06:06 It was the first edition. what's like your collector's item and obviously we have nothing that costs that kind of money but what do you have that's cool? I mean, the one thing that is super cool in our house is an African spirit from Timbuktu Like, how did you get that?
Starting point is 01:06:21 My husband went there And he brought it back In the military? Yeah, he went for work and I mean, I didn't even know that place was real. Yeah, like back to go to Timbuktu. But it is and it's African spirit and it's pretty legit looking
Starting point is 01:06:35 so, and I use it as self-defense in my brain. You haven't used it as self-defense. Your husband gave me a gun once from Afghanistan, but they had one of the knives on top of it. I still have that, which is pretty cool, too. What do you call that knife? I forget. Oh, the something net.
Starting point is 01:06:52 Oh, the bayonet. Bayonet. That's it, yeah. That's cool. Mine, though, would be, I have a microphone from an old TV show, the Jack Parr Show. He was a late-night talk show host before Johnny Carson. So I have an old microphone from that six.
Starting point is 01:07:05 which I think is really cool. That's probably mine. Lunchbox? Oh, I got one of those orange chairs from the real world Austin house. They sat in the living room, and one of them, one time one of them got mad and threw one of them in the pool, and I bought it for 50 bucks from the real world Austin garage sale, and it sits in the nursery. Yeah, he went to the, they were like, hey, big yards. They were selling everything from the real world house.
Starting point is 01:07:28 And lunchbox went and bought stuff and bought that chair. Heck, yeah. You still have it, huh? Yeah, it sits in the baby's room. It brings you so much joy. So much of it. And you know what's really cool? It sits on a rug that I bought from the Nashville show. You know, Nashville, the show, they had a whole garage sale when they finished that show off.
Starting point is 01:07:45 And I bought Baby's Rug at that show. So I have not only Real World Austin chair, but a rug from Nashville. Oh, that's cool. The Bob Bow Show. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So Verizon just launched what they're calling Just Kids Plan, which I think is awesome. I'm actually going to literally look in. this. It includes unlimited
Starting point is 01:08:07 talk and text to 20 contexts that are pre-approved by the parents and it offers the company's smart family protection which will let parents track their kids' location, control online screen time and limit the content they are exposed to. That's pretty cool. That is pretty cool and it's they're the first to do it. That's pretty smart.
Starting point is 01:08:26 It's called Just Kids Plan and I feel like I'm getting the point where I need my daughter to have something, some sort of phone. We're looking at 11. She's going to be 12. Yeah. Like in a couple weeks. Yeah. And we leave her home alone. And like she needs, we've been looking at these watches that kind of make calls.
Starting point is 01:08:42 But if this, like, can control all of that like it says, like this might be something we do. What else? All right. Around the room. Smooth or crunchy. Peanut butter. I'm going to take myself out of this. I don't like peanut butter.
Starting point is 01:08:55 I've never had peanut butter. I don't need it. I don't need it. So I'm going to remove myself from this conversation a lot you guys have it. Okay. I go crunchy. Eddie? Crunchy.
Starting point is 01:09:03 Straight up crunchy. I love that crunch. Oh, give it to me, creamy. Oh, okay. So, wait, who wins? Well. And the room, who won? Crunchy one.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Well, two out of three, yeah. Yeah, so 49% of people say that their favorite is smooth. Wait, how many percent? 49%. Well, that's basically half and half. Right. Yeah, so it's toss up. So 51% cut.
Starting point is 01:09:25 That's the weirdest way to give the results a whole. No, no, no. No, it's not because you didn't let me finish. 29% say crunchy, and then other people don't care. They don't have a preference. Oh, so smooth is a clear winter. But crunchy is just so obvious to me. Like, you want to, like, bite into it and feel that extra.
Starting point is 01:09:40 There's something so extra about it. And Bones, what is it about peanut butter that you don't like? What is it about certain types of music you don't like or certain smell? Are you sure you don't like it? Why don't you ask me a question after I asked you a question? Well, I'm just saying you're like, why don't you like the taste of something? I don't know. I can't explain what my body reacts to.
Starting point is 01:09:56 Like, you know, I'm not... But is it something from your childhood? Did you have to eat a lot of peanut butter when you were a little? No, because I was not eating peanut butter. Oh, I didn't know, because sometimes that's... That's a thing. Like, my dad grew up on a chicken farm and, like, well, my grandma had chickens and they ate chicken for, like, every meal.
Starting point is 01:10:12 And so to this day, like, he cannot eat chicken because that's all that they had. I have that with payday candy bars because we should work at Hobby Lobby. And I didn't have any money for any dinner. So I ate all the payday candy bars at the register. And I got really sick. So I don't eat those anymore. Wow. But that has nothing to do it.
Starting point is 01:10:28 I just never like peanut butter. Yeah. All right, what else you got? Okay. Well, this boy comes home from school with bad gray. so his dad is like, all right, it's time to teach you a lesson. Go get your PlayStation 4. Here's a crowbar and a boulder.
Starting point is 01:10:43 And I want you to beat your PlayStation to pieces. So he had to hit it with the crowbar, drop a boulder on it. Then the father didn't think that that was enough. So the dad took the PlayStation. Made it. No. And then he made, and the kid's like crying. It's all on video.
Starting point is 01:11:00 And his dad runs over with his car. And now the whole world can. see that video? So I don't know. I think by your voice I see that you don't like it. I mean, I just don't. I'm like, okay, does this send the message like you better get good grades? Or I don't know. Is this effective? Because I know taking away my son's tablet is very effective. But I haven't tried beating it with a crowbar. Maybe you should. Well, here's the thing. I don't have a problem with it if this was the rule ahead of time. Like if it's you don't make certain grades, you're going to lose your PlayStation 4 and you're going to lose it in a way that you don't like. And they didn't make the grades. Okay. I have to now live up to what I said.
Starting point is 01:11:35 I feel like this is like later in life stuff, like in counseling, like, well, like, you know, when I was 12 or however old, my dad made me beat my PlayStation with the Robar. You know what? If he's in therapy talking about that, he's got a pretty good life. If that's his biggest therapy issue right now. I'm okay. I'm okay with it as long as the rule was stated. Do you have a hardcore punishment you remember and you learn from it and you're like, hey, never going to do that again? Oh boy. I was a good kid. I got my, I got whipped some. Like a fly swatter. I got the extension cord sometimes. You get to pick a switch and you go, I'm going to be. smart and get a small switch and the small switch tear you up then you be like i'm gonna be smart get a big switch it's big switch club you to death so then you mean smart like talk back no smart mother i'd be smart like oh she told me to pick my own switch i'll be intelligent about the size of the switch and get a tiny one it'll be like wada da da da just tear you up like i'm always wouldn't me a switch
Starting point is 01:12:24 um but amy i was just i was never in trouble though yeah like not even just a good kid nobody cared what i did so that i never got trouble because even if I did stuff, nobody cared. I don't have a lot of guidance. So it was like, just go do whatever. And then I realized, why don't need to act out? I'm not acting out against anything. There's nothing to act out against. Nobody cares what I'd do. So I just went and made my own life.
Starting point is 01:12:49 One time my mom thought I had some weed. Oh, yeah, that's right. I've never smoked weed in my life. I've never, and she was like, there's weed in your car. And she's like yelling at me. And I was like, first of all, I bought that car by myself. Why are you in it? Like, the whole. Oh, that's a good point. That's a teenager. I was like, all everything and second of all
Starting point is 01:13:08 I don't smoke weed so chill out and then that was it the end but no I was never a punished kid not because I wasn't you know sometimes in school like I would maybe not get a good grade I punished myself I whip myself in the back
Starting point is 01:13:20 oh wow you shouldn't have got to be what I was about yeah you drop no nothing crazy I mean I definitely got grounded or spanked but I didn't have any or I got soap in my mouth to I talked back.
Starting point is 01:13:37 But I mean, I was like little. 25? Oh. Anybody else? No? Nothing. My mom threw us in the bathroom one time. You know, it was like she ran out of places to put us. So she threw us in the bathroom. And then we got to hold of some razor blades and shaved all our bodies. Eyebrows.
Starting point is 01:13:50 You guys all shaved your own bodies? Me and my brother. So what was your punishment? Sounds hot. They came out better looking. That was your punishment being locked in the bathroom. And then that's how you were revolted. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:01 Okay. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of. stories. Let's do it again. We'll be back with performances from Riley Green, Chris Young, Lauren Elena, Randy Houser. Join us March 27 on the Celebrity Summit departing from Tampa, stopping in Bimini, Key West, and Cozumel. Go to Topshelf Country Cruise.com to book your cabin.
Starting point is 01:17:32 Topshelf countrycrues.com It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home, it's something good. Brianna's a nail tech in North Carolina. You know, you go in and get a manny, a petty, so she's helping this lady out, giving her a manny, petty.
Starting point is 01:17:50 And they're just talking about life. And Brianna's talking about, yeah, I'm pregnant. I'm going to have this daughter. And I'm so excited and I want all these things in life. Lady gets done. Love the service. Goes to the front desk pays and says, Hey, Bree, love the service.
Starting point is 01:18:03 And I hope you get all the service. the treasures you want and tipped her $1,000. Wow. That's cool. That's a big old tip. Who tells that story? Oh, Brianna. You think the tipfer comes a throred?
Starting point is 01:18:17 Brag about, heck yeah. No, a lot of times the tippers don't. Oh, maybe, oh, you're saying, is it the person that got the tip or the person that left the tip? Yeah. Like, how does that story get to the news? Sometimes a waiter will take a picture of receipt. And I always feel like, as a former waiter, that's a bit much.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Like, the person that left the tip, if they didn't put it out themselves, I probably don't want that to be known. Yeah. I bet you the lady that Titt Brianna went home and wrote on Facebook. I just did something special for the girl at the nail salon. I gave her a thousand bucks. That's a great story. I love it.
Starting point is 01:18:49 I always wonder how that stuff gets out, you know? Yeah. I don't mind, too, if people talk about causes they donate to if it brings attention to a cause. Actually, I'm for that. Or if somebody goes, hey, you know, I just donated whatever to this, and this is why. I'm cool with that because you're up. One, you're donating, and I never hate anybody for donating. But, two, I think it's cool to bring awareness of things you're passionate about.
Starting point is 01:19:10 Yeah. But that, I was, I'm curious how that story gets out there. That's a good one, though. Let's Tell Me Something Good. That was Tell Me Something Good. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. High Valley dropped their first single off their upcoming new album.
Starting point is 01:19:25 It's called Single Man. Here's a clip. But I don't know a single. I've got a new song. Good for them. Hey, what else? Reba told People Magazine that she's totally in love with her man. And Skeeter, she says her old heart is still beating and they like to spend stretches of time together at her Nashville place and his Texas home.
Starting point is 01:19:58 I hung out with Skeeter, but mostly Skeeter and I talked for like 45 minutes. You met Skeeter? I sat with them. That's awesome. We talked for a while. He's a good dude. It's just chilling. Yeah, I like old Skeeter.
Starting point is 01:20:11 All right, what else? And Brantley Gilbert said that he doesn't like to dress up for award shows, but he knows his wife Amber loves when he does. So he said, I know she enjoys getting dressed up, and I try my best to play along. It's not my favorite thing in the world, but I'll do it for her. There you go. I'm Morgan and Routique. That's your skinny. Folks, it's your buddy and my Mr. Bobby Bones. Let me go.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Translidic. All right, time for the morning corny, but even more so, it's the investigative corny where our team tries to figure out the morning corny. We're on a four corny streak. It's never been done when a team has got five morning cornys in a row. So let's try the morning corny. Here we go. Morning Corny. Why was the picture sent to jail?
Starting point is 01:21:02 Why was the picture sent it? You already know this one? You know it? Oh, well. Have you heard the joke? No, I've never heard it in my life. But he already knows it. Oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:21:10 Cell? No, it was framed. Oh, man. Too easy. I mean, you know, they didn't even get a chance to talk it out. I mean, he's a genius. Joke genius. Because Eddie had cell.
Starting point is 01:21:24 Did you know it was framed? I wouldn't even close to frame in my head, so. I didn't hear the. of the joke and like already heard it. Got it. Yeah, already got it. Well, Amy, what's the answer? It was framed.
Starting point is 01:21:34 There you go. Good job, guys. Wow, okay. I feel bad. Sorry. Sometimes powerhouses just win like that. Y'all want another one? No, because you don't want to mess up the street.
Starting point is 01:21:47 A little anticlimatic, but, you know, we're five off. I feel like the Patriots. Oh, does that happen? It just like right up winning. Fast. That's it. There we have it. It's a Bobby Bones show.
Starting point is 01:22:02 Tomorrow morning at this time on the Friday morning conversation. Shannon Doe is in. They're going to play tomorrow to be good. A St. Louis woman got mad at another woman because she was commenting on her groceries. It's one of those. You've got to be in the express lane so you've got to have 10 items or less. Ooh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:19 And so eventually she opened fire on the other girl's car. Fire with a weapon? Mm-hmm. Oh. A St. Louis woman took exception to another's comment about her groceries. in the checkout line of a schnux. This is in St. Louis, and eventually opened fire on the fellow customer's car.
Starting point is 01:22:37 She's 20, was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. The confrontation began at a schnux store. Wow. A woman checking out made a comment of the amount of grocery she had. It was too much. It was not clear from court documents
Starting point is 01:22:54 if women were in the express line, but people said they were. She got angry over the woman's comments, argued with her and then followed her in the parking lot and pointed a gun at her. The woman drove off the lot but a Chevy SUV soon pulled alongside her. That's when, boy, they're really getting mad.
Starting point is 01:23:12 Leans outside of the body of the SUV, and fired two shots into the woman's vehicle, missing her. Oh, my goodness. That was a little much. That's a lot much. There's that disrespect thing, you all say. Well, it's not even about the grocery. It's about someone disrespecting. I was reading yesterday this Twitter threat
Starting point is 01:23:25 about two people that were fighting over a parking spot. There was one open spot and their cars were both parked there, and they both wanted it. And they sat there for hours. I could stand up. Someone live tweeted the whole thing. There was even an empty parking spot across the street. And another one would go because they were holding that spot.
Starting point is 01:23:39 It was their spot. Yeah. It's never about really what it's about. Like, who cares about how many groceries you have and someone else was commenting? It's always about the disrespect that ends up getting people in trouble. Look at that. St. Louis represent. You know, this morning, lunchboxes represent in Arkansas hard.
Starting point is 01:23:56 There's two dudes who shooting each other with the bulletproof vest. Yeah. Woo! Like, they were like, well, let's see if these work, and they put on bulletproof vests and shot each other. Represent. Good times. Yeah, that's my home.
Starting point is 01:24:05 Represent. Don't forget tomorrow. Shannon Doa is, it is going to be good tomorrow. Do you watch Aunt Becky, and you see her go to court? No, I didn't. Her and Felicity Huffman went to court for the, you know, they were paying against their kids in college. Which really stinks.
Starting point is 01:24:22 Like, we make jokes about it because of Aunt Becky, but it really stinks because there are a lot of people that are working hard to get in school, and they can't because rich people are paying for their kids to get in. It's way bigger than just a school thing. This is a society thing where rich people just get advantages because they just pay for it. So they both appeared in court yesterday. Neither of them entered a plea.
Starting point is 01:24:41 I'm assuming they'll make some sort of plea deal, but prosecutors are demanding some jail time. And I think they should go to jail. Just to set a precedent. Just because you're rich doesn't mean you should be able to get every advantage. I just think about kids that come from areas that don't have the most. options and they finally do well. And still they're blocked out because somebody just had more money.
Starting point is 01:25:03 I was dreaming about a kid in Chicago, they got a perfect ACT score this morning. 36. Oh, wow. Love that. It's like a junior in high school. Nailed the ACT. That's so awesome. They're facing five years behind bars, by the way.
Starting point is 01:25:15 Oh. Lori Laughlin and Fliss. They won't do five years. Okay, that's a long time. Yeah, yeah. If they do three months. And will they go to that jail with, like, tennis? You hope not.
Starting point is 01:25:26 I would think that the judges want to make people know, hey, we're in this. Because judges have to get reelected. You forget everything's about elections. Politicians are only doing things because they want to get reelected. That's it. They don't only care. They all get jaded and they don't care anymore about us. It's all about getting reelected.
Starting point is 01:25:46 So these judges have to get reelected. They'll send them in jail for a little bit. Anyway, they did look good, though. Oh, they did? Yeah. Show them their fancy clothes. I don't know I would have wore such fancy clothes I'd probably not win in as rich
Starting point is 01:25:58 Yeah They were going in rich Like That doesn't help their case They look super rich going on yet They just got normal I'd have got the old Volkswagen bug That's backfiring
Starting point is 01:26:08 Yeah Bumoooooo! I go to an allergist yesterday Because my allergies At times will just eliminate me from doing the show And I'll come in It's kind of like this
Starting point is 01:26:20 And I'll push through it But it's just not good And so I don't even know Allergist was a real doctor doctor. So friends, like, you have to go. They specialize in allergies. So I go, okay, cool. So I go, and what they do is they lay you down, and they take your, and they, they, I take my shirt off, and they have like this little claw thing and it scratches a hole in your
Starting point is 01:26:37 back, and they put, like, the pollen into your back. Oh. Or they put the dust mite into your back. Like, and then they see what your body does and how it reacts, and you have to lay there for 15 minutes, and it's just like crazy. And then they get, they get me shots in my arm, like six shots, too. And they label them all so they can go, Oh, number one reaction. It was wild what they did. And so I'm laying there. It's all on my answer story at Mr. Bobby Bones, but I'm laying there on my stomach.
Starting point is 01:27:04 So I'm allergic to dust mites like crazy. My back swallowed up so bad. It had two huge knots. So dust mites I'm allergic to. Apparently weeds. I'm allergic to. I'm going through the list here. Pollin, I'm allergic to really bad.
Starting point is 01:27:22 Dogs. Yeah, that's the one that threw me. Like I just was like, she's joking. No, because I put I'm allergic to commitment on there. That was my joke. Right. But dogs was real. And so I was like, well, what do I do?
Starting point is 01:27:35 And so, because I'm going to get a dog. It's like a lot of people are allergic to dogs. But I have to take a pill every day. And not just like a Zyrtec or one of those pills. So what I have to do at first is I have to go in and you put the thing under your tongue. And the first time you do, you have to do it in the office. So in case you need an epipin, they stab you with it. This whole thing seemed a bit intense for me.
Starting point is 01:27:55 Because of the pill? You can go on once we can get a shot or you can take a pill every day. That's pretty crazy. But the first time you go in, they have to watch you take the pill, like under your tongue. Because some people react terribly to it. So that's what I'm going to do. So now you have to take a doggy pill, basically. Yes, I've taken a pill to make sure I can do all that.
Starting point is 01:28:11 What about a hypoallergenic dog? We're trying to do that. Well, I only know that because that's what, like, we have a Laberdoodle, and that's what that dog is classified as, so I don't know. I'm not going to be dog racist. If he's not hypo. You know what? I'll take all.
Starting point is 01:28:26 dogs. Any welcome. Yes. I'm just saying, I don't know. I'm trying to help you out. So that's what they did. They gave me 75 shots in my back, like claw shots. And I'm like, I can handle it. I'm going to act like I'm tough. About seven, I was like, oh, my back's gross too. Like, I still break out of my back and, like, I have moles in my back. I'm just disgusting. So, but I'm allergic to dogs. I slept with my dog every night for 15 years. But my allergies, they just, some mornings I come in, I'm just like, but yeah, that's the deal. That's the update. Wow.
Starting point is 01:28:59 So are you doing the pills or the shots? Pills. Pills. You're doing the pill every day. You can do a pill every day? So you start now? Or you start when you get a dog? No, I start now because it's for all these things.
Starting point is 01:29:10 But some people take a pill every day, like a Zyrtec or a nasal spray. They sprayed every morning. I didn't know that was a thing. And I worry about that. Like him having to take that every day. Yeah, me too. Something's like, I don't know. I just feel like we should take something every day.
Starting point is 01:29:25 But oh well, I take my doll a lot. It's probably not good. Do you take it every day? Lots of days in the months. Well, I did that yesterday. It took a while. It's all up there if you want to see it on my answer story for the next few hours. Mr. Bobby Bones. But it's interesting how they just put it all in you. Like they put the things that make you react into your body to watch if you react.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Yeah. I've never experienced that before. I'm intrigued. Now I'm going to take a pill every day. And the EpiPen is, that's intense. For those of you guys have to, like, use the way. EpiPen, if your body breaks that, you stab yourself with it? Right.
Starting point is 01:29:57 Yeah. But once they monitor you take the pill and you don't need the EpiPen, you're now allowed to take the pill at home by yourself. No, you don't need me on standby. I need a monitor to watch you take the pill every day. Starting point is 01:34:08 Hey, Tara and Virginia, you're on. Good morning. I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I went through the exact same test, and I swelled up. I think they said something like 90% of what they scraped I was alerted to, including dogs and I have two dogs. Then they're not hypoallergenic. I keep them very clean and bathe them and it's the dander that you're allergic to. Yeah, that's what he said. So I'm going to take all the pills. I'm going to take pills I don't even need. I'm just going to take every pill
Starting point is 01:34:39 pill so I can have a dog. Like load me up a pill. Don't lose hope. Yeah. Well, thank you. I got a message about that. And then also I'm being told those judges in the Felicity Huffman and Becky trial are federal, so they're appointed by politicians. These aren't the ones elected, but politicians that appoint them. It's all going to be political. Don't kid yourself. These judges don't want to look bad by letting these rich people get off. You know what I mean? Tara,
Starting point is 01:34:58 are you agreeing with me on that too? I do. I do. How do you feel about that? What if your kid wanted to go to college or some rich kid got in because they paid for it? I'd be extremely upset because I do have two hardworking kids that maintain very good GPAs and we're not the richest people. So, yeah, I think if another kid got in just because they paid for it, I'd be very upset.
Starting point is 01:35:23 Would you stop watching Full House or Fuller House in protest? because that's what I'm doing. I don't watch a whole lot of TV anyways, but absolutely I would. That's right. I would support anything that they did. So I'm talking about. Hey, Tara, thank you very much.
Starting point is 01:35:36 Appreciate the call, and thank you for listening to the show. Oh, I appreciate you guys. Have a good day. All right, see you later. Did they take away all her Hallmark movies? Appreciate you. Yes, they stop.
Starting point is 01:35:46 Now, don't be disappointed at that. Of everything I just told you, that's what makes you upset. No, no, no, no. But, I mean, the Hallmark movies are good. I mean, I'm just saying it sucks for her. That's Sarah and St. Louis on. Hey, Sarah. Hey, Bobby, what's up?
Starting point is 01:36:00 Well, we were just talking about, and I love St. Louis. Matter of fact, I'm going to try to come out there pretty soon. But how do you say that schnooks? Is that, like a chain there, like a grocery store chain? Oh, yeah, it's definitely a thing. Well, so these people got in a fight and ended up shooting at each other because they had too many items on the 10 items or less. Do you see that story? I did.
Starting point is 01:36:20 How you feel about that? Because sometimes I'm like, man, why is my hometown not representing the best? earlier those two dudes at the markets all we're shooting each other bulletproof vests it was all over the news yesterday has a little bit embarrassed but the lunchbox brought it up today you got to live with it how do you feel about that in st louis yeah it's just spread kindness spread love there you got to get all likes all over some grocery that's what i'm saying all right what can i do for you sarah i just wanted a shout out to my friend sarah in dallas texas she listens every morning on your podcast um but wanted to shout out to her and i'm a first-time caller
Starting point is 01:36:52 I listen to you guys every morning on my way to work and just love that you guys spread so much joy and love and love listening to you guys. Appreciate that. Listening on the bull. Thanks. I listened to the entire show yesterday.
Starting point is 01:37:03 I may do that once a year. What, why yesterday? I don't know. I don't feel like I've been on my game the last few days because I haven't been sleeping. Oh, you were game taping yourself? Hard. Ooh, would you learn?
Starting point is 01:37:14 So many notes. I made so many notes just about me, not even about you guys. Oh, okay. But I got a whole phone list of notes. Wow. It's like, why Bobby sucks. And I made like nine notes.
Starting point is 01:37:24 Oh, no. Well, and I've had these allergies so bad, and I just wanted to hear how bad I really am. Let me tell you, pretty bad. I've been trying hard. I've been trying hard. So there's that. I want to play these clips for you, Amy. By the way, listen to the whole show.
Starting point is 01:37:36 We do a post-show pre-show. Well, it's like an after show that runs on the podcast. So listen to the show back. If you miss any of it, search Bobby Bone Show on Demand on IHeart Radio. Here's Courtney in, I don't know where we're court. Hey, Courtney, where do you live? Hi, I'm in Arizona. Hey, Courtney, thanks for calling.
Starting point is 01:37:54 What do you want to say? So I actually was listening to the post show pre-show, and I was wondering if Morgan number two ended up getting, like, a first homebuyer's gift from her realtor. And if she did, did you guys all get first homebuyer's gifts, too? Because when we bought our home three years ago, our homebuyer's gift was their office, like the Realtors' Office, yearly calendar.
Starting point is 01:38:20 So, like, it was a picture of them. Oh. So I feel like I may have got this short end of the stick. Oh yeah, you for sure did. Yesterday on the post show pre-show, we talked about Morgan, too, who, by the way, is closing on a house today. Yeah. Find her first ever house. How do you feel?
Starting point is 01:38:34 Are you nervous? I'm so nervous. I'm so overwhelmed right now. I'm just excited, but very overwhelmed. Remember my advice. You're going to get there. They're going to have all these papers for you to sign. They're going to be like, if you want to read over these, you can.
Starting point is 01:38:44 Don't even fake like you're reading over them. Just sign them. Signing my life away. They've already been read by someone. And even if they hadn't, you're not going to read over these. You're not going to read them anyway. You're not going to know what they mean. I read them.
Starting point is 01:38:53 I was like, I would just fake it. I'd read it and be like, oh, man. Yeah, because you know they're looking at you like, please don't read at all. And you're really going, what am I going to have for lunch? You know? So just sign the papers. It's going to take forever anyway. It's going to seem so overwhelming.
Starting point is 01:39:06 Because it's supposed to be a treat to now be in debt. Yeah. It's like the most debt you're like. They're like, congratulations. You now owe us so much money. Just get in. For 30 years. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:18 I got a gift. I'm a huge sports fan. And so my first house, when I was 25, they gave me a signed picture of Nolan Ryan. Amy, did you get a gift? I'm trying to think of, I can't remember. I know our first house we bought here in Nashville. It came to the screened-in porch, and there's like, you know, the winter months here are cold. So our realtor, she got us in one of those big outdoor heaters that we could put out on the porch.
Starting point is 01:39:40 So when we bought the house, we went out there because that's something we mentioned. We were looking at it. We were like, oh, we'll have to buy one of those heaters so we can hang out here in the winter. She was listening, and we bought the house. She bought us one. Lunchbox is your first house. You get a gift? Yeah, I got a magnet for the fridge of the Dallas Cowboys football schedule.
Starting point is 01:39:55 Okay. Awesome. Wow. Thanks. It's actually nice. Well, it seems like we're... It just depends. Yeah, Sarah, it seems like how much a realtor likes you, I guess.
Starting point is 01:40:06 No, we lost her. All right. Oh, there she is. Yeah, so it did sound like you got the poop into the stick, though. If you just got a picture of them. Hey, so where do you listen to the show? So I listen here in Arizona. It's 97-1 of the Bull.
Starting point is 01:40:19 Yeah. in like Tucson? Yeah, actually. Look at this. Come on. Come on. I appreciate that. Well, thank you for listening,
Starting point is 01:40:27 and thanks for listening to the podcast. Hope you have a good day. Thank you. All right. See you later. You want to run through some of these songs, Amy? Yeah, let's do. These are the one billion stream songs.
Starting point is 01:40:36 And you're going to know most of them because they're the biggest songs ever in streaming. Just name the artist. See if you can go all the way. Surely you can get that one. No. That is? Ed Sheeran.
Starting point is 01:40:53 It's called Shape of You. All right, these are all one billion stream songs. I need a one dance. Got an honesty in my head. This is number two, by the way. Who's this? Like Drake and something. Yeah, it's Drake.
Starting point is 01:41:07 Drake, One Dance. There you go. All right. Let's do one more right now. You'll know this one. Don't your kids love this one? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:19 Or no. Is this the one they like or no? They like it. It's one of them. Who's this? The chain smokers. I'll give you one that don't think you're going to get. This has been streamed a billion times. Oh, my daughter loves this one. But do you know who it is?
Starting point is 01:41:44 I guess not. Major laser? Oh, no. We'll end with this one here. Who sings Despacito. Who's the real artist? It's not Justin Bieber. He's just a feature. Oh, Poppy.
Starting point is 01:41:58 Who? Poppy. What's that? Huh? There's nobody even named that. It's not, um... Okay, hold on, hold on. So there's Justin Beaver.
Starting point is 01:42:08 Then who do they call Poppy? Is that... Oh, no. What's his... Baseball player? No, no, no, no. This Daddy Yankee? Yes.
Starting point is 01:42:15 It is... It's not... It's... Louis Foncy, Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber. Okay. Why do I think Daddy Yankee's nickname was Poppy? Well, Daddy.
Starting point is 01:42:24 Poppy Yankee? I don't know. Oh, boy. There's a few of them there. Dustin Lynch, no country songs made the top list. Oh, boo. Yeah, I mean, we're still a niche. That Ed Shearing one, though, such a jam still.
Starting point is 01:42:38 What, is the shape of you? Yeah. Yeah, we play in the dance party's nice. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. There was a payless shoe store in Kansas, and it was closing. They had, I think, filed bankruptcy, but regardless, they had to move all the shoes out
Starting point is 01:42:56 because they had to get out of that space. And so they were marked down super low. But Addie Tritt went and bought them all, but she wasn't trying to fill up her own closet. She donated all 204 pairs to the Nebraska flood victims. $1 a pair is where they charged. And she negotiated with a business and managed to get all the shoes for $100, which would cost more than $6,000. But then she took them. There were women, children's and men's shoes, and then took them over to Nebraska and donated all them.
Starting point is 01:43:20 Oh, wow. Cool. I mean, multi-level, like to see it and go, oh, there's an opportunity here. To go and negotiate for the prize. then to spend her money and then to make sure they all got them. That's good. That's good. That's next level thinking. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. So my birthday was earlier on.
Starting point is 01:43:38 What was my birthday? Tuesday? Yeah. And Lunchbox thinks I should have went places with my ID and got free stuff. So instead, you did that? Yeah, I just went, well, I just went to different drive-thrus, and I didn't even have my ID. I just told them it was my birthday. I wanted free stuff. Because when it's your birthday, they give you free stuff, and you didn't take advantage of it. It's my birthday.
Starting point is 01:43:57 It's my birthday. Happy birthday. What can I get for you? Do I get like a free frosty? No. How about a free fry? You don't get anything free because of your birthday tree. Not even like half a cookie?
Starting point is 01:44:09 No. You want a cup of water? That's free. Oh. Can you see me happy birthday? No. Oh. All right.
Starting point is 01:44:17 Well, I won't see you happy birthday on your birthday either. Okay, thank you. Bye. Yeah, she's right. Do it. I like that. So nothing at Wendy's. Nothing in Wendy's.
Starting point is 01:44:24 All right, lunchbox goes to Starbucks. Hi, welcome to Starbucks. ready for you today. Yes, my birthday. Hi, happy birthday. That's what I'm talking about. Let me hear a little sing. Happy birthday to me.
Starting point is 01:44:35 Oh, good. Just like a little, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday. This poor girl wakes up early in the morning to go to Starbucks and work. And it has to sink, because I'm not going to drive it through.
Starting point is 01:44:47 Do I get a free cup of coffee for my birthday? Yes. Heck yeah, what about a free hot chocolate? Yes, we got you. All right, free hot chocolate. There we go. Happy birthday to me. Yes.
Starting point is 01:44:57 Yeah, free hot chocolate. I appreciate it. Wow. So Starbucks hooked it up. And a big one, too. Not a small one. A big one. Wow.
Starting point is 01:45:04 Okay, here's lunchbox going to Krispy Kreme saying it's the birthday. Lusely, how many doses can I get for you today? Today is my birthday and you are my favorite donuts. I was hoping you would see me a little happy birthday. Happy birthday, too, you. And I get a free donut? Uh, yes, not your birthday. I just want a glazed donut, but I just want a glazed donut, but I'm a birthday.
Starting point is 01:45:27 I want you with chocolate. All right. All right. That's what I'm talking about. I got you to sing and I get a free donut. I love it. All right, I'll come get my free donut. All right, Krispy Kreme hooked them up.
Starting point is 01:45:37 We'll do one more. If these places get free birthday, everything's all the time to people. I don't check your ID. They don't? No. I'm happy. Oh, yeah, it's my birthday. This is McDonald's, by the way.
Starting point is 01:45:47 Happy birthday. Yeah, can you sing happy birthday to me? Happy birthday to you. No, you got to sing it. Go ahead. You order, please? Do I get like a French fries? for my birthday for free?
Starting point is 01:45:59 No. How about a cheeseburger? No. I have free water. It's good. It's healthy. What if you just like put two french fries in my water? No.
Starting point is 01:46:09 All right. Happy birthday to me. Okay. Happy birthday to you. So Starbucks and Krispy Kreme hooked it up. Wendy's and McDonald's didn't. Yeah, they denied me. Wow.
Starting point is 01:46:20 And you just say it's your birthday and they believe you. It's awesome. Yeah, I think most people in life will believe you if you say something. Yeah. Most people in life will believe you if you say something. Yeah. And it's probably depending on who's working the window that day. That's true.
Starting point is 01:46:30 I'm sure it's not in their employee handbook. If someone says it's their birthday, go for it. You have free reign to give away whatever. That girl at Wendy's was not having it, though. It's like, it's my birthday. Happy birthday. All right, what do you want? I just got a gift sent up here by Ryan Seacrest, which is very nice.
Starting point is 01:46:52 And on the bag, it says, Happy birthday, buddy. Thanks for filling in my shoes. Cheers, Ryan Seacrest. And so what happens on Monday Night's American Idol coming up, Ryan got sick and last minute they were like, we fill in. So I hosted, and they send me some shoes.
Starting point is 01:47:08 That's so cool. It is so cool. Are you recording, you want to put this on the show? Yes, I do. Look at these. So Seacrest sent me these Jordans. They're filled with money. No. Oh, yeah. Yeah, like thanks for filling my shoes.
Starting point is 01:47:24 Here's your payment. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, yeah, Monday. American house on Sunday night and Monday night and I hope you watch it. I'm the mentor. Definitely not the host. That's Ryan's job. Well, but on Monday you are? But Monday, yeah, Ryan got sick and they were like,
Starting point is 01:47:35 hey, can you hop in his host? And that's like going, hey, backup quarterback, we need you to jump in for Tom Brady real quick. And so, yeah, I think I did fine. I think it did pretty good. So, yeah, that'd be Monday night when I'm, but that was nice. Ryan, you probably want to hear this, but I appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:47:50 That was a nice gift. I think you signed that, really? I was going to ask to see that card. Yeah, I wanted to see how they... What was a piece of paper. Yeah, right, I know. the piece of paper, I wanted to inspect it because I was curious about the same thing. If he signed it really?
Starting point is 01:48:01 Well, yeah, because, you know. We're so juvenile. We just can't appreciate a gift. Let me see. By the way, like on Monday night's show, what? It's printed. Oh, it is? Or copied.
Starting point is 01:48:13 Oh. Amy's rubbing it with our finger. I'm sure he came up with that, though, like, oh, tell him something like fill in my shoes or something like it. Yeah, write that down. Like, as you watch American Idol Monday night, tweet out like, hey, Bobby, doing a great job. And then hashtag American Idol? Yes. Because they watch that stuff.
Starting point is 01:48:26 We need to pump you. up. They watch it. And they'll be like, we should give him his own show. Yeah. So, yeah, that was very nice of Ryan C. Crest to send that in. They should at least go over his name with like a Sharpie or something, so it looks like. But I'm sure you have to order it from somewhere.
Starting point is 01:48:41 No, it's printed. Oh, like when you order flowers. Yeah, they probably just send it. Good point. That's what I need to do. Oh, yeah. I know country artists. I will not reveal who. Don't even sign their own stuff. There's a machine that does it. Oh, wow. That's a machine did Ryan right there. I promise I sign everything.
Starting point is 01:48:56 Because I would never, first of all, who wants my signature? But if you do, you better believe you're going to get my terrible five-year-old signature. Yeah. Why are you being a hater on Ryan's signature? What? I'm not. You brought it up three times. I tried to get off of three times and you keep bringing it back.
Starting point is 01:49:08 Wait, no, you were talking about the machine of the artists and I said, I was curious. That's why. It's still a thoughtful gift. Just saying they should, you know, go over it with a Sharpie. Here we go again. It's a fourth. Request that when you go to 1,800 flowers. Hey, listen, if you could just have someone there, sign a little.
Starting point is 01:49:26 The name. Anyway, that was a very nice gift from Ryan. And Monday night on American Idol, I'll be hosting that show. There's a new Instagram account for Prince Harry and Megan Markle. They got one million followers in five hours yesterday. It's the fastest ever. It's the Guinness World Record for the fastest to one million followers. Isn't that crazy?
Starting point is 01:49:44 Why is it new? Well, because they haven't put up an account. Oh. Together. Oh, okay, gotcha. I don't know if the Royals put up really Instagram. I think they have official pages. Excuse me.
Starting point is 01:49:54 I got to go follow them. Do you care? Yeah Care enough to go follow right now You don't? What's the handle? My follows are so precious I only follow
Starting point is 01:50:03 250 people Yeah but They make the cut What is the handle? They make your cut I don't know What is their hand? Do you know their handle?
Starting point is 01:50:11 Prince Okay fine I'll figure it out I didn't look That if you're in For like baby photos I think they're showing A lot of baby photos
Starting point is 01:50:17 What did it more get to? Sussex Royal That makes sense And you just followed it? And they Oh now that And they have a blue check mark. They have 3.4 million and a blue check mark.
Starting point is 01:50:28 Oh, Amy's all but her because she doesn't have a blue check mark. Oh, yeah. Well, I mean, because I've been working at it. I've applied like six times and gotten rejected six times. They didn't believe you. One of my friends that, like, apparently had a hookup that was trying to help me. He called me and goes, what did you do to Instagram? He's like, they just rejected you again.
Starting point is 01:50:46 And I was like, cool, let's keep trying. Because some people don't take me seriously. I'm going to reach out because they're like, this is a real radio Amy? I don't know. I'm like, yep, it's me. identical twin brothers are both ordered to pay child support for a little girl because
Starting point is 01:51:02 they're identical and the men refused to say which of them fathered the child and the DNA test was inconclusive because they're identical twins they can't tell the difference oh the judge says the men are depriving the girl of the right to know who her father is and ruled both men's names
Starting point is 01:51:16 will be on the girl's birth certificate the girl will receive twice as much as other children from the same economic background the men apparently thought they have to split one father support payment every month. What are they doing? This is some weird sick joke they're trying to play? Like, or not joke, but why are they, why don't they just admit who?
Starting point is 01:51:33 Well, the brothers are said to have switched identities to date women too. Oh, they are, oh, that, oh, they are so wrong. They should go to jail. They didn't do anything illegal, though. That should be, well, new law. You get the judge on who was on earlier? I don't know. What do you think about that?
Starting point is 01:51:50 Bobby. Go ahead. You need to, I need your opinion on this. But what is your question? My question is, you just said, you just made a good point. They didn't do anything illegal. But if they are that identical and they knowingly switched themselves and she wasn't aware of it and she ended up sleeping with somebody else without her knowledge. I mean, if they're identical, how she says no?
Starting point is 01:52:12 Well, what I would do. I said, let me see your ID please. You're like a bouncer. If they intentionally switch, then they. Right now, take your close off. Mm-hmm. I don't know There is no law against it
Starting point is 01:52:25 Is my point This is probably gonna And I think you can go up Like lunchbox just lied to people about his birthday Yeah But this is This is more than a birthday You know
Starting point is 01:52:35 If you were to misrepresent yourself To like a federal agency or I mean Because if they're identical Like she's supposed to know What do you mean identical? Like identical everywhere Like the we're like the same?
Starting point is 01:52:48 Yeah Or I don't know What do you know the difference? I mean I guess I don't know, I guess. I don't know. But do the brothers know? Like, do the brothers really know?
Starting point is 01:52:57 Like, I know. Oh, so that's a good question, too. Do they know who they are? No, maybe they both were hooking up with her. No, she's, oh, well. And they don't really know. There you go. And then they tested.
Starting point is 01:53:06 And then they couldn't determine. I know they don't know. But, I mean, she, I feel like, was deceived. She was deceived. Yeah, you're right. Maybe they don't, if they were pulling this trick on her, they may not know which one. Well, those brothers are close. Yeah, they are.
Starting point is 01:53:19 Like, ew. Get a new hoarse. A hobby. A hobby. What do you do? I play Magic the Gathering, and my brother and I trick girls. Yeah. But don't you want to know, too, if that's your baby or not?
Starting point is 01:53:30 Yeah. Yeah, but how are they? They need some intense testing. Like, I don't know. Maybe some doctor can be like, I can figure this out for y'all. Hey, Rob, you're on the show. What's going on, bud? Hey, good morning, Mr. Bones.
Starting point is 01:53:42 Hey, bud. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. How's everybody doing? We're pretty good, man. What's up with you? Hey, I'm doing awesome.
Starting point is 01:53:49 A first time caller from here in D. DC. My wife turned me on to you guys about a year ago and absolutely hooked on you guys. Oh, thanks, man. I got to tell you, man, I started episode number one for your podcast about a week ago. I'm already up on episode number 30. It's outstanding. Oh, wow. You talking about the Bobbycast? You got it. Wow. It gets better, too. The first ones were kind of rough. Yeah, artists come to the house. Songwriters come to my house and we sit and talk. Jesse James Decker's coming by tonight. And so we'll be doing a bobbycast. The recent ones are Trevor Rosen from Old Dominion who came by, Tricia Yearwood came by, and we just sit for an hour and talk. You know, on this show, they play music and you do a lot of the big points. We try to do a good interview here, but you don't have all that space like I do at the house with the Bobbycast.
Starting point is 01:54:34 Well, I appreciate that, Rob. Let me tell you something. Go ahead. Go ahead. I started with episode number one. I'm on number 32 right now. And one reason why I love it is because it gives so much more behind the scene stuff that you never really hear about. You know, these artists, how many times that they sit there and fail and fail.
Starting point is 01:54:51 and fail. You know, and then you have other times when they're just weird situations that happen. Somebody's in the right place at the right time. I forget the other day. Who it was you were interviewing. But the dude was working at, what is that, Titan Stadium, do you guys have? Oh, yeah, the Lanko. Brandon from Lanko was working the, the Cessions.
Starting point is 01:55:15 The Hot Docks. Yeah, at Britchstone. Yeah. Yeah. And at Bridgetown Arena, and this huge producer goes by him. He's in his, his car. It's the little outfit that you wear whenever you sell hot dogs. And he's like, hey, I'm an artist.
Starting point is 01:55:25 And the guy goes, okay, well, then bring some music by. And next thing you know, Lanko exists. You know, that's great. Well, thanks, Rob. I appreciate it. That's a nice thing to say. Search for the Bobbycast. If you love music, if you hate music, it's probably not your podcast.
Starting point is 01:55:37 I'll be honest with you. If you're a music hater, probably not what you should listen to. Right, Amy? Well, I feel like you get deeper with the artist, not just on a musical side. Like Brett Eldridge, for example. Yeah, we cried together. Yeah. So there's that.
Starting point is 01:55:50 All right. Hey, thanks Rob. Have a good day, bud. Morgan number two, who does all of our digital and social media and website. She's buying her first house today. She's 25 years old. Big life moment for you. Huge life moment. Nervous right now?
Starting point is 01:56:04 I'm nervous, but I'm just so excited. It's such a big thing. And I'd always thought growing up that I would be, like, married and having kids before I got a house. But I just kind of switched everything in the other direction. Ah, you're 25. It's a different day now. You should get at it. Yeah, I mean, if you're able to do it, it's smart for you to do it.
Starting point is 01:56:22 So did you put a big down payment down? I got a really big loan. Still. I mean, you got to get a loan. Yeah. The loan happens, but you still put a down payment down? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:32 So, and now I'm going to be house poor for a while. So my night's out will be going a little bit smaller over the next few years. Didn't think about that. A few years. What did you call it house poor? House poor, yeah. What's that mean? Like you...
Starting point is 01:56:44 You're poor because of your house? Yeah. Aren't we all house poor? Big time. That's like our biggest thing. I have life poor. Well, how exciting for you. And you're closing us today.
Starting point is 01:56:53 Then you get the keys and moving tonight? Yeah. I'm starting to move right after close. I already have everything all boxed up. That's how excited I am. Did you hire a mover? Well, my dad is partially my mover. Yeah, my parents are here.
Starting point is 01:57:07 Gary LaVox. Yeah. Black time moving. Oh, yeah. I think Gary messaged me on Instagram the other day, and he was like, haven't heard any Black Time Moving talk lately. Let's get on it. Come on.
Starting point is 01:57:15 Here you go. He'll show up and sing to you. What hurts the most. Give me that box. Well, that's exciting. You plan to be moved in by this weekend all the way? Yep. And then so everybody be expecting a housewarming party within the next month, month and a half.
Starting point is 01:57:30 Yeah. Interesting. That would be good. You should have one. Yesterday in the post show pre-show is Lexington her a bit. Like, don't be too good for a houseworm party. Because then you get all the little stuff, like the towels for the guest room. Because who wants to buy those?
Starting point is 01:57:44 You need your own towels for your own room. Yeah. But you have extra rooms now, right? Yeah. I have two extra bedrooms. Is that the point of a housewarming party to get gifts? Like a shower? Yes.
Starting point is 01:57:53 Okay. I thought it was just a party. Like, all right, let's make this officially my home. Tear it up. It's probably a combo both. Tear it up. Yeah, right? I never had one.
Starting point is 01:58:00 No, don't mess it up. I always felt weird having a housewomen party. And here you are saying, don't be too good for a housewarming party. I know. Do as I say, not as I do. Okay. I'm very hypocritical on this because I was like, I'm having a household party. I don't people buy me gifts.
Starting point is 01:58:12 But then when it's not me and I can remove myself from the situation, I go, oh, it's great. People want to actually help you. Let people help you, except me. Morgan number two has a segment that we call What Do 25-year-olds Care About? Is that we're doing? Are we doing Food World? I have two of them over here. Which one would you like to do? Which one would you like to do? I do have both.
Starting point is 01:58:30 Okay, let's do 25-year-olds. We'll see how it goes. So there's six photogenic trends. Everyone's going to be Instagramming this spring. So if you're wanting to step up your Instagram game, I got you. Is this like photographic fashion? Like to say, this is in style. This is what you do? The things you should wear in your Instagram picture.
Starting point is 01:58:49 to be trendy. Please say duck face because I love doing duck face. I'll pay your pictures. All right. Is that one of them? No, it's not. Oh, right, right.
Starting point is 01:58:55 What are you guys? These are more fashion items. So tie-dye is one of them. Really? Oh, I like tie-dye. Go ahead. And then shells and pearls. So maybe those puka necklaces guys can bring back.
Starting point is 01:59:04 Ugh. All right. Layered leather. Strapy sandals. Beijon beige, which is like a kind of a, what, Florida Georgia line? They have that line.
Starting point is 01:59:16 Oh, yeah, Brian Kelly does. No, but they have beige on beige. beige, that's a very big trend. And then utility belt bags. Like a fanny pack? Yeah, so you're already in the trend. Your bones, you're all set up. Everything's come back around. Everything's come back around.
Starting point is 01:59:31 All right, thank you, Morgan, number two. I appreciate that. That's what 25-year-olds care about. Here you go. A woman gave birth in a mango tree while escaping floods in central Mozambique. She's a single mom. She delivered her daughter while clinging to the branches
Starting point is 01:59:51 because the middle of the flood she had to crawl up a tree and her two-year-old son up in the tree with her. Yet today you think you have problems because you can get your coffee in time imagine having to have a baby on top of a tree.
Starting point is 01:59:59 Yeah. That's in Africa, by the way. Yeah, I didn't know. She said, I was at home my two-year-old son and suddenly without warning the water began to enter the house. I had no choice but to climb a tree.
Starting point is 02:00:09 I was alone with my son. I watched her up there. She had a baby. What? What do you want to know? Well, I want to know when the baby came out and she's in a tree.
