Starting point is 00:02:51 The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-show. Hey, welcome to. After the show, it's the after potty, after the party, then I go home. It's a much lamer version of that song. We just finished Thursday's Bobby Bone Show. And we're on Facebook Live right now, if you're watching, or if you're just hearing this on the podcast later, you want to go watch this back, you can.
Starting point is 00:03:11 It's up there. Where do we start? Why don't we start with? Well, I went to Amy's house last night and took her son birthday presents, and you can hear that later on in the show. But I was watching your Insta story. Did you pay your kids that money before I was over there or after?
Starting point is 00:03:25 And before. Okay. So Amy did Blanco Brown's, Amy's kids did Blanco Brown's music video. They did. Yeah, gonna do the Tuesday. And cowboy boogie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:34 And so, but I saw you gave them their $100 in cash. Yeah. Well, I decided that it was theirs and they need to have it. They can keep it in their wallet. And then that way they can decide
Starting point is 00:03:45 if they want to get anything, we can go over it. But it was, they earned it. Did you decide or our listeners decide? Well, I mean, listeners were hating on me. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:03:53 well, I mean, it's their money. I'm not going to keep it. But first of all, had borrowed $100 from Stasheera without telling her like a couple weeks ago. But she didn't even notice it was missing in her wallet because it's literally like birthday money and bracelet money that sits there. She does not ever touch it.
Starting point is 00:04:08 So she didn't even know. And so I went and I paid her back for that. And then I was like, oh yeah, you also have another $100 from your video shoot. And she was like, this is the best day ever. Like she just thought it was so awesome. but I really feel like now they need to know like $100 doesn't just come that easy. Like a day of dancing in a video, that's so fun. And I feel like they need to learn how to earn $100 the hard way.
Starting point is 00:04:35 So you're going to punish them for doing the music video. No, I don't want to punish them. But if you have any ideas, I mean, I'm not going to do it right away. But I feel like they were kind of like, what? This is making $100 is easy. And I'm like, do you know how much $100 is? And you normally can't get it just by dancing. So.
Starting point is 00:04:53 I think the lesson is easy. Lessons taxes. Like, all right, $100 and here we go. You got to forget. It's not $100. You got to pay taxes. And then like mine, you should take 15% for management, 10% for agency. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:07 And I booked the $2. I booked the video gig. Well, the music label reached out to me to see if they wanted to do it. So I had to handle all the. Booking fee. That's 10%. Right. That's my music agent, my comedy agent.
Starting point is 00:05:18 They get 10% of everything they booked me for. So you take 10% there. And you're basically their manager too. It's another 15%. So far you made 25. And my business manager, you've made like 30 bucks just being a mom. Yep. Wow.
Starting point is 00:05:30 And then you have tax them. So they're basically getting like $58 of that $100. Yep. And take it all away and then leave them with $58. Amy. And then you're like, there you go. Lesson learned your lesson. This is life.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Punks. These are taxes. Then ground them. Or no reason except to learn a lesson. But to all the haters that sent notes about me borrowing money from my kids, I paid. Stashera back. Now you know what it's like when I didn't pay the high school back.
Starting point is 00:05:55 No, no, that's different, Eddie. That's different. You were not paying back. You just were cheating the school out of money. Right, and she lives in my house, and I care for her, and I can put the money back anytime. And families borrow from each other. Oh, is that the deal? I need family members then.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Right? Well, I take that back. I take that back the opposite way. I get hit up all the time. I get some money. I did too. I don't give my family money. I used to.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Hey, you get hit up for money? Yeah? Like how? Like text? Having a bad month. Yeah. And I'll be like, rough. Sucks. You don't help? I'll be like, I can lend you 50 bucks. And they're like, eat you any more than that. Sorry, bud. I've been burned way too many times. Well, yeah, you know, if you've been burned hard, hard, hard, especially to family or whatever. You just have to, that's money. It's just gone. Like, don't expect it back. But not like loan. Like, I've signed for things. What do you call that? A co-signer? Yeah. Oh. I can't. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Does that affect your credit? No, I paid it off.
Starting point is 00:06:55 I just lost. Yeah, I don't... It's tough, but yeah, it's a difficult situation. If you do loan it, you never get it back, so just know that. It's more like you're giving it. They use the word loan, but you're using the word give. And if you do get it back, hey, look at that. It's a special treat.
Starting point is 00:07:13 It's like to share his money. It's like, whoa, it's the greatest day in my life. I know. She actually acted like she was making money. And I was like, this is money. from you without you knowing. At first she was like, what? I just got a text. I was like, oh, it was not my family. They're watching right now.
Starting point is 00:07:29 A guy who broke up with this girlfriend of two and a half years went to Reddit to say, hey, is there wrong that maybe we still go on this Hawaiian vacation we booked together? It was for her sister's wedding, but he paid for most of it. And it's just that he'd sleep on the couch. He'd be out of her way. In the end, she canceled the airline ticket. But most people didn't think it was totally in the wrong. What do you think? I don't think it's in the wrong.
Starting point is 00:07:56 You can't do that. You broke up with her. You're not going on a trip with her. It's her sister's wedding, too. I mean, she's going to go to the wedding. You're not going to the wedding where there was a date anyway. So were you just going to go and hang out and make that whole situation and vibe weird? So.
Starting point is 00:08:11 A little selfish. Yeah, yeah. I wondered how you guys felt about that. Amy, are you rediting yet? No. I go there sometimes because I click on something else that I've Googled and it takes me to a thread. and then I get there and I'm very confused. So I just don't know that I know how to read it.
Starting point is 00:08:26 I saw this story about this guy who got beat up by some cops. And they, I'm not sure if it was real or not. I think it was real. And he is an Asian guy and his name was Fouk You. And so when they said, what's your name? They were like a guy named Fook You gets beat up. That was the headline. Yeah, because they were like, hey man, what's your name?
Starting point is 00:08:51 They're like, fool you. Oh, and then they beat him up. And then, I don't know how hard they beat him up. Yeah, that would be hard. That was your name, you change. My last name's you. Mr. U. What's your name?
Starting point is 00:09:04 Mr. U. That's all I'm going to say. Right. Yeah. I mean, your full name. Fook you. Oh, that's it. You smart.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Oh, no. Wise guy. Not sure how real that was. I think it was a real headline, though. So Reddit, you can basically just write whatever. No, there are different subredits. It's like... Like I'm at Reddit right now.
Starting point is 00:09:25 What am I supposed to do? Don't yell at me first of all. That's what you're not supposed to do. Oh, should I... You're not supposed to get aggressive with me when talking about Reddit. Should I go through what's hot? Well, so you can do the most popular,
Starting point is 00:09:35 which is just the general feed of everything most popular on the internet. But I subscribe to different Reddit subredits. Oh, so you have a login? I do, yeah. But it's like I follow the Austin one and the Nashville one. And I follow the... 90s alternative one. I follow funny memes.
Starting point is 00:09:56 And so they all pop up in your personal feed of all the things that you follow. According to the internet, that's fake news about the cops. Yeah, I thought it might be. I laughed out loud. You had that feeling? Laughed out loud, though. That was a funny headline. John Mayer got a restraining order against a guy who was sending him death threats.
Starting point is 00:10:14 He was granted a temporary restraining order against one obsessed fan. Funny. I saw your tweet. Funny. Real. funny bones. What's up? Would you say something about that it was you? No. Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:25 No, he said the opposite. He said, relax, everyone. That's not me. Because the headline was like, obsessive John Mayer fan, pushes him over the edge. And I was like, guys, for once, it's not me this time. Something like that. Hey, thanks for saying my tweet, bro. Yeah, I did.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I liked it. Thanks. John Mayer's ordeal began in March when Ryan Jeremy Knight allegedly began terrorizing him and members of his team. There's about three Instagram people I should put on this terrorizing list for me. Really? There are people that not only are obnoxious on my Instagram, and I use the word obnoxious, not physically threatening, but obnoxious,
Starting point is 00:11:01 but they go over and they find that are cousins of mine and like people in my personal life and go over to their stuff and just write stuff all the time too. Yeah, that's not cool. And I'm like, which is why I don't always come on the air and go like, hey, I've been out with this girl, check her out. Because people just go over and write stuff, but I'll see these people writing in,
Starting point is 00:11:21 I'm like, how do you even, I went to third grade at Mountain Pine with him and you're writing in his feed? Weird man. So, John Mayer came face to face to his obsessed fan when he's performing in North Carolina on June 28th. Yeah, I'm just, anyway, it just takes one swing of the arm
Starting point is 00:11:42 and somebody gets stabbed. You got to watch out for nutty people. Yeah. One time, all it takes. That's why I, Tim's here to walk in the building every day, Amy. Yep. And when I walk in, he always says,
Starting point is 00:11:55 Have a good show. Have a good show. Yeah. And I'm like, thanks. Yeah, every time he's like, hey, have a good show. I love it. Listen, to I mess with you, he'll never see them again. They'll go on vacation for life instantly.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Maybe there's already some people on vacation. They'll be retired. And we don't know, Amy? Yeah, what if he's like taking care of people that never even made it to us? Because Tim got to him first. A man was arrested after he allegedly caused a disturbance on a plane at an Oklahoma City airport while drunk, screaming to children, we're going to die. That's not good. The incident happened Monday just before 11 p.m. at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City.
Starting point is 00:12:35 An officer responded to a disturbance, Southwest Airlines, and spoke with the crew member as they were taxing to the jetway. A man yelled, hey kids, we're going to die. The crew member told the man that Timothy Norton, 50 years old, the crew member told the man identified to police as Timothy Norton 50 to stop and Norton told her to shut up calling her a bleep Dying He was arrested
Starting point is 00:13:01 I wonder if they took the plane right back Or if they got him on the other side Probably right back right back If you had to call somebody you probably take the plane right back Don't risk it You're gonna die I'd laugh Yeah but for the kids it's terrifying
Starting point is 00:13:13 I'd laugh Like one time we were at a Pedestrian Bridge downtown And there was a storm coming in And there was a homeless man, like, yelling, like, it's a twister. It's a twister. And my kids to this day are still terrified of storms. Because they remember this guy yelling down the bridge, seek shelter, it's a twister.
Starting point is 00:13:31 It's going to get us. Whenever I was in Austin, I was walking out of the public library. And there's a bridge, a walkover bridge. And I had ridden a scooter over there. And so I'm walking back to the scooter that because nobody got on it. And he takes my scooter and just throws it off the bridge. Oh, what? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:49 And what did you do? So I'm walking toward him, and I'm walking toward my scooter. And he's not doing it because he sees me walk, he just hates the scooter. And it's a homeless guy, he walks over, and he grabs it, picks him up, and he goes, I hate these scooters and throws it off the bridge, and then I'm right by him, I just keep walking. I didn't see anything. I was like, oh, me too, brother. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Yeah, I guess they hate them because they were just everywhere all over town. Yeah, it was wild. And I also was like, that dude just do a scooter in the lake. That's crazy. which sucked you can't but yeah so I saw that
Starting point is 00:14:23 yesterday on the show we're talking about Sister Hazel where they have this song called All for You Is this hard to see Is this hard to say? Is there an update?
Starting point is 00:14:41 Yeah So they reached out on Twitter after the show and they're like We're in So they're going to come in in like first week in September or so Awesome
Starting point is 00:14:48 So I'm gonna have on I was like to play the hit though Because apparently they're doing country music now Or like a country hybrid, whatever this is. Because they're from like Florida, Georgia. There's not a line.
Starting point is 00:15:00 But they're from that area. So they're definitely country music rooted. And by the way... I thought they were Gainesville. Is that border? Well, they went to University of Florida. Okay. But I'm saying they're Florida, you know, they're those guys.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I hate saying those two. They're Georgia Florida. Whatever you're going to have to say, yeah, baby. But do you remember Champagne High? Play that one. Ramona. Are you going to have to play that? Why would you ask so mean, so meanly?
Starting point is 00:15:31 No, because I don't, I've never heard it. Oh. I thought you were offended by Champagne High or something. No, I was just like, oh, I mean. I'm going to see what else. I'm going to have them play for sure all for you. Mandolin. Oh, man, they have big songs.
Starting point is 00:15:48 I mean, I'm a fan of them generally. Remember, change your mind. Is it? Yeah. The whole thing comes down. in about three, two, one, let's go. Do you know this one?
Starting point is 00:16:04 No, I don't remember that. I'm playing it from my phone, by the way, for this. Hey, hey, what? You know this one? No. Okay. Do you know your winter? Because I can be your winter.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I think this one I remember. Yeah, I would, I have their whole live record. I know every song on the live record. They played it for the fan clubs. Yeah, I remember that one. It's probably easier to do this if I pull up Instagram stories Because you know how that just goes to the hook of the song? Oh yeah, when you search the song in Instagram stories
Starting point is 00:16:41 Yeah, right? That'd just be awesome I could do this as a way to play music on the show Okay, Instagram stories Okay, um Let's see Just What was the one I just played?
Starting point is 00:16:56 Winter. Oh yeah, I'll be in winter Yeah, I remember Here's change your mind. See if you remember this, Eddie. You ready? Here's the hook. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Hold on. You scoot it, but it doesn't. Here you go. If you want to be somebody else. Yeah. Okay, remember this. I remember this. If you're tired of fighting battle with yourself.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yay, I do remember that one. Anyway, there you go. But they're going to come in. All that for that. But I was a big fan. I'm just going to have them probably play the one, so I don't know what they're going to be up to. But, all right, there's that. Eddie, watch the boys on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Oh, my gosh. Are you done with it? No, no, I'm about three episodes in. Dude, what a good show. Oh, no. Like, seriously, I just couldn't agree. The Boys is a show. Misagree.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Maybe, I don't know. Like, I didn't try to get my wife to watch it with me. It was just one that was by myself for had a couple of hours. I'm like, let me give it a shot. Dude. Okay, now I know what you guys are talking about binging. Like, I just wanted to go, go keep going. He struggles over, like, oh, I need to see what's next.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Yeah. Isn't it great? Yeah, dude, the concept is very, like, it's so smart. It's almost like just what happens in real world, but in the superhero land, where we see superheroes as these people that are just not real. But if you made them real and they were being protected by a corporation which owns them, Amy. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:38 I mean, it's like spot on. They got to make sure that their public profiles are perfect, even though they're flawed. They're just humans. They're humans. They make mistakes. Yeah, yeah. Amy's so anti it now. She won't even listen to someone who likes it.
Starting point is 00:18:52 No, my husband likes it. He's still watching it. But, yeah, I don't know. Like, I told my wife about it, and she said she'd be interested, but I didn't try it because I wanted to see what I thought first. Okay. Well, maybe she'll like it. It's real good. It's like one of the best shows I've seen on a long time.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Really? It's really, really good. I really like the Umbrella Academy, too. On Netflix, they did season one of that. Eddie, you'd like that one, too. Yeah? Yeah, I think so. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:19:15 I tried to watch it Amy, do you like superhero movies? I think Ben liked it though I think he watched it all I love Super I love Avengers I love Iron Man yeah I like Batman Like
Starting point is 00:19:28 Yeah yeah I do I don't know why I don't like these shows But I don't like like Jessica Jones And what is the other one that you loved Oh the Punisher The Punisher Dear God That was a great one really
Starting point is 00:19:42 Maybe the best superhero He's not a superhero though. Right, he just has... He's like what Rambo was. He didn't superpowers, right? Sort of like Batman. Rambo didn't have superpowers. Batman was expensive. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:54 And that guy, I bought a lot of stuff. The Punisher's just a dude who's, like, trained. That's awesome. He's in the military, and he comes back and he's like, well, time to military up. These bad guys. Yeah. Mike, Dee, what's your, of all those Netflix shows,
Starting point is 00:20:08 the superhero, what are your favorite one? Probably Daredevil. That was my favorite one. Yeah, pretty good. He did have a superpower, though. He was blind one. Well, he was blind. so he was able to have sense stuff.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Did you love the Punisher? Yeah, that's probably my second favorite. And then Jessica Jones, she's just strong, right? Yeah. Strong and fast? Fly. She can fly? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Or jump far. Jump far. Yeah. She calls it falling or something. Yeah. But she was put in a lab. Yeah, she has special powers. And I'm not even, like, lover of superhero movies.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I wouldn't consider myself an A-plus guy like Mike, but I like them. Yeah. But I love the Netflix ones. They're gritty, but they're not a net. Netflix anymore. They're going over to Disney Plus if they continue to make them. Yeah. Listen, guys, I don't like that. I don't like these. We don't either. I like it. I feel alone. But it's fine. I was alone. I was all by myself. No one was looking. I was thinking of you. All by myself. All by myself. All those Green Day fans.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Shout out for the nine Green Day fans. Shout out. Green Day, Hidden track. It had to wait until the whole CD was over. That's the deal. I think. I think that's it. Oh, Morgan number two. Talk to me here. Oh, about the playlist? So we've been doing all those drafts. We have the Disney songs.
Starting point is 00:21:26 We have the country love songs, sad songs, and 90s songs. And we've made YouTube playlist of all of those specific drafts. And then we're also making IHeart playlist so people can go and listen to all of our picks. Okay. They can listen to all the songs.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Mm-hmm. Okay. Now, let me go to... Did you tweet the link for our draft today? We're not going to share any of our picks because I want you to hear that during the show today. You did tweet it? Yeah, I did.
Starting point is 00:21:58 I'll just look at it off. All right. Check it out. We got it with draft coming up in this too. Amy's podcast is up. Four things with Amy Brown. Walker Hayes and Laney Hayes come in, Walker and his wife. Yes, Ron, and they did all four things with me.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Yeah. So we talk about all different aspects of their life, and they opened up. I feel like there's times you're gonna laugh and smile. There's probably times where you get emotional and maybe cry.
Starting point is 00:22:22 So it has all the feels. But I'm just super thankful they came on and did that together. They're a cute couple and they have six kids. And they've been together since high school, huh? Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:31 So I feel like there's little nuggets in there of wisdom and then just fun little stories and then the way they have some bad situations in their life, how they have turned them for good,
Starting point is 00:22:43 seeing the better in it. There's a Brent Young, Bobby Cast up that we did yesterday. So you can check the... He's saying a song's like, In case you did it all. Mercy. Mercy.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Is in the night there's view and a pep the cap to keep coming home to. Yeah, that one too. Anyway, check it out. Amy's four things named Brown, Bobbycast. Talk to Mike Dee yesterday.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Mike D. is going to get a podcast going. About what? What do you think? Movies? Exactly. Oh, that's perfect. Mike D. You want my son to join you on something?
Starting point is 00:23:17 He can be a guest. Yeah. Okay. He doesn't quite have the concept. We don't have the concept, but it's going to be good. Okay. Yeah. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:23:25 That's very fitting. Oh, and I guess I should say Walker, if you've ever heard my podcast and you hear the guy singing my theme song, it is Walker, and now he's on the podcast. If you ever hear mine, I hear a theme song, that's the music we stole from the internet. Nice. Oh. Bones, you know what I like about Bobbycast a little bit? Like, I've noticed is when you, when you guys have videos or pictures, you get to see
Starting point is 00:23:43 him in, like, normal clothes. Like Brett Young had shorts on yesterday. I didn't think I've ever seen him wear shorts. Jorts, actually. Oh, he had jorts? Rolled up jorts. That's awesome. And don't say it to his face.
Starting point is 00:23:53 He did. Oh, he didn't like that. No, no, just he's big. Oh, yeah. He'll beat you up. It's a nice guy. It'd probably be like, that's cool. But I wouldn't mess with him.
Starting point is 00:23:59 That's the first thing I know is like, hey, look at these. We're building a whole camera set up in my house to do them on YouTube, full hour long on YouTube. For a fee, I can go run the cameras for you. I already got somebody for a fee. I mean, I can give you a good deal, man. Bras. Got somebody, bra.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Thank you. We shall now go vote once you hear the draft at Bobby Bones.com. Don't care who you vote for as long as you votes. Kind of like the election. Just get you vote in there.
Starting point is 00:24:26 I'm not even putting any subliminal messages in there. Hey, you just did. It's me, Bobby. What's up? It's your friend. We wouldn't do these drafts. It wasn't for me. But anyway, vote for whoever you want.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Except just don't vote for Morgan number two because she's so cocky about these. She really is. She's got three wins and she will not let us go. Are you winning right now in the poll? Maybe. Is she?
Starting point is 00:24:46 I don't know. I don't know. I haven't looked yet. Is she might? She is? Significantly? Yeah. Okay. Don't say anything about it.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Am I doing okay? Yeah. Good. Real good. Good. He goes, I was looking at the wrong one. Oh. I'm not doing okay?
Starting point is 00:25:06 Oh, no. I'm not going to finish last. Ramundo is. Is he last? Yeah. All right. All right. We'll see you guys.

Starting point is 00:29:08 Thank you so much for waking up with us. If you're listening on the podcast, well, you got a little easier. You didn't have to wake up super early, but we appreciate you being here regardless. Let's go over to Robin in New York who's going to start us off. Robin, how are you?
Starting point is 00:29:22 Hi, good, Bobby. Hi, everybody. Good morning. Morning. What's happening? Morning. So, Bobby, I know you travel a lot, and I live on a farm. I have seven horses, five dogs, cats, you know, the whole deal.
Starting point is 00:29:37 I want to know, how do you take care of your dogs? You travel so much. Who takes care of them? Well, I just put three times the amount of food on the floor and go catch on the flipside, buddy. I thought she would say something. It's like, that's not funny. Yeah, just kidding. No, like seriously.
Starting point is 00:29:53 I take the dog with me if I can. There are some shows where I've been able to take the dog with me. And if not, someone stays in my house with my dog. And so she just takes care of them. So, yeah, listen, I don't bored them. I try not to. I haven't yet. Although when I leave for a few days, I'm going to send her to training.
Starting point is 00:30:13 And I'm going to come back and it's like I'm sending them off to boot camp. That's what I feel like. Yeah. Not jail. Because jail is different. It's punishment. I'm sending him off to boot camp to become a better dog. When he comes back, he's going to be doing dishes, giving me massages.
Starting point is 00:30:26 It's going to be awesome. That's great. Isn't that what happens? I know how that works out. So, yeah, that's what's up. And I will not be taking him to El Paso or Amarillo this weekend. Too far of a trip. We've got to bop around a little bit.
Starting point is 00:30:40 So people that are waiting for the dog to come out at the show, bad news will not be coming out. So he's going to be at the house. But that's the answer. I appreciate that call, though. No problem. Have a good day, guys. Love your show. See you later. Yeah, I really thought she'd say something back when I said just left him at the house.
Starting point is 00:30:53 She said nothing. Yeah. Let's do on this day and country music. Here we go. The Bobby Bonds show on this day in country music. Today in 1980, Alabama lands their first number one hit with Tennessee River. Oh, Tennessee. Lead singer Randy Owen wrote it by himself.
Starting point is 00:31:18 This was Alabama's first official single release. Tennessee River, listen to this, began Alabama's string of 21 consecutive number ones. from 1980 to 1987, which included hits like Dixieland Delight. With my Dixie Land Delight. Also, the closer you get, the closer you get,
Starting point is 00:31:47 the further I fall. And if you're going to play in Texas. If you're going to play in Texas, you've got to have a fiddle in the band. That lead guitar is hot, but not for Louisiana man. There you go. So on this day, Alabama's first ever song went number one,
Starting point is 00:32:05 and they put out 21 number ones in a row. Amazing. Right? What year was that? 1980 is the first year of the first song came out. So there you go. That's on this day in country music. That was.
Starting point is 00:32:15 This Day in Country Music. Here's the Bobby Boneshow podcast, highlight segment of the day. All right, let's draft some sad songs. What do you say, everybody? Yeah. Now, in the draft, Amy, Lunchbox, Ray Mundo Morgan number two and myself
Starting point is 00:32:34 And it goes in that order And what a snake draft is What we do, it goes down the snake And then from the tail It goes all the way back up to the head So the person draft in last Gets to draft first the second round It's supposed to be an equalizer
Starting point is 00:32:46 Okay Are we ready Amy With the first pick Overall in the sad song draft What are you going with? I'm going to go with Vince Gill
Starting point is 00:33:00 go rest high on that mountain. Is that not sad to you? It is. It is because I think about funerals. Me too. Maybe I don't think of the song itself is being super sad, but where it's played it is super sad.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Oh, it makes me so sad. Yeah, no, I had to take a second. Think about that. All right. And then his voice and everything. No, I get it. When you hear it, if you would have just said it,
Starting point is 00:33:28 I don't know, I'd have felt it so much, but when I hear it, I go, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. lunchbox, not where I thought you would go first round. Wow. Yeah, I know. How did you think I was going to go?
Starting point is 00:33:37 I don't know, something like Momba number five. Oh, that'd have been a good one. Lunchbox, first pick at the first round. When you said sad songs, I remember my wife hearing this song and crying, and I was like, okay, this song is sad and everybody cries. Christmas shoes. Oh. Oh. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Oh, yeah, it's sad. Christmas shoes. People cry with this song. It's definitely a sad song. Yeah. I'm just looking at my list over here. Okay. All mine are still up.
Starting point is 00:34:10 You're still in it. I'm still, well, I mean, I figured with the first pick, you guys would have, especially the lunchbox, would have gone into this one song. We'll see. Raymondo, you're up. Oh, you're my on. Yo, yo. Hey, so Amy's going to hate me on this one, and I'm really, really sorry.
Starting point is 00:34:25 I could have swore you're going to take it first round, but you said this reminds you your mom, and I'm so sorry to steal it, but I have to. Ed Shearin, Superman. market flowers. A heart that's broke is a heart that's savage. So I'll sing
Starting point is 00:34:38 Hallelujah. Nobody. Okay. You were an angel. Oh, I know. I was a song about him. All right. Morgan number two, you're up.
Starting point is 00:34:47 That song will make you cry. I don't think enough people know it. That's why I didn't leave it. But it is a very, yeah, I cry every time. Morgan number two, what do you have? This plays on commercials, and it always makes me cry in the arms of an angel. Dang it! Oh.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Dang it! I have that listed as the puppy dog needs a leg story. That's a good one. I did have that. That's the first one taking off my list. Well, I'm over here commentating and playing, so when I don't say your song is great, mostly it's because I'm rooting against it,
Starting point is 00:35:25 but also I'm looking at my notes. Because people be like, why don't you give somebody credit? I'm not trying to let them win. But if it's so solid, I'll be like, solid pick. Morgan number two, it's solid pick. Dang. That's a good one. All right.
Starting point is 00:35:36 She's the only one that got that. I'm going on with, his son fell out of a window and died. Good one. Tears in heaven, Eric Clapton. It's about his toddler literally falling out of a window and dying. Yeah. That was actually my next one. The window washer left the window open.
Starting point is 00:35:52 It's crazy. So tears in heaven. Eric Clapton, first song that I take in the first round. My list is falling apart. Okay. Well I didn't put it on my list Because it's not
Starting point is 00:36:08 I didn't think it would be here So I have the first pick of the next round I'm sure somebody else has it And I thought this may be the first overall pick So I'm gonna take Don't take the girl from Tim McGraw Yeah I'm sure someone has it up as a clip
Starting point is 00:36:20 Right Remondo? I don't see it at the moment I didn't have it None of you guys listed that I thought that might be the first overall pick In the draft I thought it'd be gone a long time ago Yeah I just figured someone would take it
Starting point is 00:36:32 Number one. But I didn't want it as my number one. Take Jimmy Johnson. There it is. Take Tommy Thompson. I would have taken it, bones. Eddie, you're not playing. I know.
Starting point is 00:36:43 I'll be quiet over here. Yeah. Wow. I'm feeling real good about my two picks, guys. Tears in heaven and don't hate the girl? I don't even know if I need a third pick. Is this your like trash talk? No, just that's not.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Those both can both be the first pick in the whole draft. Do you want a great pick yourself? No. I already did. Don't worry. I already did. Morgan number two, what's your next pick? I can't believe you didn't pick this one.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Reilly. I was expecting to, if those two weren't there, that was my next one. That's it. It's a good one. Good pick, good pick. It's my main competition over there in this whole draft thing. All right, Ramundo, what weird song are you going to take? No, no, no, this isn't weird.
Starting point is 00:37:25 This is Cole Swindell, you should be here. You should be a good one. That's a good one, Dan. That's so good. That's a good one. Guy, got a big. You go back, right, Moe, no. We're cheering sad songs.
Starting point is 00:37:38 We're like, yeah, baby. I'm going to email more. All right, picks. Lunchbox. Okay, I mean, this is all about a soldier not coming home. I mean, you are going to cry your eyes out when you hear, I drive your truck by Lee Bryce. Okay. I thought he was going to go Tim McGrath.
Starting point is 00:37:54 You're reading this. You get the next pick, Amy. I know. Did you think he was going there, too? Yes. Yeah, me too. Is this about a soldier coming home? Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:03 coming home. Yeah, and he drives his truck. His dad, right? It's a really sad song. I thought it was his dad. My husband can't listen to it. If I drive your truck comes on the radio when we're driving, he has to turn it off. Amy, your next pick?
Starting point is 00:38:15 My next pick is Tim McGrawl, if you're reading this. Oh, that's a tough one. Your reading is my mama sitting there. It's about a soldier who left the note in his pocket. Yes. I know. That's making me sad right now. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:38:32 I'm telling. I went to Tim McGross, when he was playing these live songs during his book. He was telling the story about this, how he saw an article. And it was one of the magazines, like USA Today or something, or time, about how the soldiers would put notes in their pockets. And if you're reading this, means they didn't make it back home. And he starts to tell the story. And I was like, oh, man, I was, like, covering my eyes.
Starting point is 00:38:51 And I'm kind of desensitized to most music at this point. We live in it. I remember coming here and going, guys, we played it on the air. I was like, I haven't been moved like this in forever. Yeah, you did say that. Woo. I have it. Turning that up, Raymond Do, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:39:06 That's a good one. Yeah, open field out on the edge of town. My mom always pray that it would go. Oh, clip-ins. If you're reading this. I'm already gone. Amy, great pick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Amy, you now have the third pick and final pick of the sad song draft. Oh, wow. Okay. I feel like some of mine were taken. Well, yeah, that's what happens. I know, but I didn't think that they were. ever going to get taken. So, no, I'm like, who do I do?
Starting point is 00:39:45 Even in the draft, did people have their third picked? Already almost signed? No, because you don't know what other people are going to pick. Okay. Because I feel like I'm not going to, I don't know. I'm just going to, okay. I'll stick with the country theme. And I'll go with Alan Jackson.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Where were you when the world stopped turning? Come on. I didn't even list that, but that's such a strong one. That's really good. I don't think of that. Hey, good pick. Thank you. I feel like I have to say it said.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Good pick. Yeah, you can't be happy. I know. I know. And I don't want to be like, thank you, smiling. I'm like. I know. That's a good pick.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Thanks. Thanks. All right. Lunchbox. I mean, I only have one left on my list because everybody started taking everything. So I have to go with George Jones. He stopped loving her today. Yeah, that's a good man.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Sing a lunchbox. I don't know the words, man. Eddie, you be quiet. You're not even in it. Mr. Last Place. So I was reading about this song because I didn't really understand. Like, he stopped loving her today.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I thought, well, I guess it's just when you stopped loving. But he loved her until the day died. And that's why he died. That's why he stopped loving her. And it's so sad. Yeah, very sad. Did you know that? No, I listened to it last night.
Starting point is 00:40:59 I was listening to it because I was trying to find out which one I'm going to pick and where I'm going to put him. And he was talking about how he was going to love her until the end, blah, blah, blah. And then he goes, and now they're going to carry him away in a pine box. It was like, oh. Ramundo, third pick. Yeah, last one. Ever since this song first came out,
Starting point is 00:41:14 I've absolutely loved it. It's fishing with my dad, Raging Idiots, and Garth, baby. Sit out home home watch the bobbard dance. It is sad. Talk about the facts of life of what you mean. That's funny, dude. I mean, you're going to lose, but that's funny.
Starting point is 00:41:32 That's a good pick. I appreciate that. Yeah, Garth Brooks and Raging Idits in a song together. Isn't that crazy? Our one serious song called Fishing on My Dad. How could I go fishing with my dad? Hey, good pick, Raymond Do. I mean, we're all safe to come back after his picks.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Morgan number two, go ahead. This one's made me cry since I was very young. It's Concrete Angel by Martina McBride. Yeah, good. Hey, let me take Ashley, Raymond, and the last caller on the phone there. Hey, Ashley in North Carolina, you're on the Bobby Bone show. Were you going to say that pick?
Starting point is 00:42:07 I actually was just about to say Concrete Angel by Martina Bribide. Yeah. I have it up on my list, too. It is a tough one, huh? It is. It's always nice. me cry. Well, thank you for listening. Thank you for calling. Hey, thanks so much.
Starting point is 00:42:22 All right. And I have one pick left. I'm just going to talk it out here for a second. Okay. How many do you have? Well, I have three up here. One of them to me is the most sad when I hear it. One of them I play all the time when I get sad. And one of them is the most legendary sad song. Like the saddest song? Yeah. Well, first of all, R.M. Everybody Harts is one of the options I have.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Right. Everybody hurts. Play a little bit of that, Ramundo. That's sad. That's sad. You hear it, you're just sad. I listen to this song all the time. And then I have the dance.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Oh, so sad. That's a really good one. But nobody dies, right? No. It's kind of about life. You know, he could have missed the pain, but he had to miss the dance. So he's going to go take the pain
Starting point is 00:43:10 as long as he gets to dance. One more shot. Then it's over. And then this other one is really, so sad, but I don't know if maybe they will, but this, cowgirls don't cry from Brooks and Dun & Reba. I don't think a lot of people know.
Starting point is 00:43:28 I mean, if you listen to all the words and you make it to the third chorus or whatever, and then, yeah, I mean, yes. The first one's like, she falls all of a horse. The dad's like, hey, cowgirls don't cry. Get back on that horse. The second one, she gets divorced. It's like, hey, he's like,
Starting point is 00:43:43 the dad says, cowgirls don't cry. Get back on the horse. And then the third one, he's on the phone with her and he dies. And he's like, hey, Cal girls don't cry. Oh, I have goosebumps right when I said that. That one, that one makes me cry. That one makes me the most sad, but I don't think unless you explain it. I've listened to that.
Starting point is 00:44:00 What's the same as don't take the girl. Yeah, but that's a... You got to get there. I'm going to go with, let me see my picks. Let's see. I have tears in heaven. Ooh, cryer. Don't take the girl.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Oh, good one. I just have to go with my heart. Even if I don't win, I got to feel good about my. my picks, and I'm going to go with Cowgirls Don't Cry, Brooks and Dun and Reba. The tough one, man. And I don't know that everybody will get the end of that just by seeing that, but I won't feel good if I don't put it up there. That one, I just got to go with my own conviction.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Yeah. I mean, because I had to pass up Garth, my favorite. The dance. And R.M., my most listened to. Yeah. But I just got to go with, Cal Girls Don't Cry. Right, baby, right. Okay, let's see.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Here are our teams. Amy has go rest high on that mountain, Vince Gill. Isn't it a Yee Mountain? Yee? I think that's the Christmas song, isn't it? Tim McGroth, you're reading this. Oh, that's, Amy, what a good pick. Alan Jackson.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Amy, you might win this one. Looking at your team. They're all solid. When the world's, where were you in the world, stop turning? Yeah. Lunchbox, Christmas shoes? Did anybody have Christmas shoes? No.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Dang, I could have got that round two. I should have gone Sarah McLaughlin round one then. I drive your truck, Lee Bryce, and he stopped loving her today, George Jones. That's a solid team. That's an absolute solid team. You can act like, just brush it over like it's not good, guys. That is a tear-jerker of a team. They're all tier-jerkered over teams.
Starting point is 00:45:39 It's hard to pick bad songs here. Ramundo, well, Ramundo did, though. Supermarket Flowers is legit. People aren't going to know. I know. It's an album cut from an Ed Schering record. Right. But, I mean.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Good song. Good song, and it will make you cry. Cole Swindell, you should be here, a fantastic pick. Yeah. The raging idiots featuring Garth Brooks, that one's going to hurt you. We've got to be honest with you. Are you serious not being able to fish with dad, the bobber in the water? It's a really sad song.
Starting point is 00:46:01 It is. Listen, we wrote it. Morgan number two in the arms of an angel, the puppy song from Sarah McLaughlin. Good, good, good. Bradley, whiskey, olive bag, really good. Concrete Angel Martino, Brett, really good. Strong team. And then have tears in heaven here at Clapton.
Starting point is 00:46:14 Don't take the girl Tim McGraw, and Brooks and Dunneriba. Cowgirls don't cry. All right. They're going up at bobbyvones.com. You can go vote on nose. How you feel, Amy? I feel good? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:25 I feel confident, Amy, you got this. Okay. I don't know. You never know how people are going to vote. Just remember this. What? If you don't win, Cow girls don't cry.
Starting point is 00:46:37 I know. Amy's wearing a George Strait t-shirt today? That's my t-shirt. That she refused to give back. No, he gave it to me. That's so crazy. I don't know how. I loaned it to you.
Starting point is 00:46:48 How is that misunderstood? No, I want to give this to you. You didn't say, here, borrow this. You guys were the same size? It's a little big on her. It's a little tight on him, a little big on me. It's a sm. It's a sm.
Starting point is 00:47:02 It's a sm. Medium. Yeah, yeah. Starting point is 00:50:59 caller verified on your phone if it's a legit call by the end of the year. And finally, in drinking news, four loco is jumping on the hard seltzer trend. They tweeted a picture of their hard seltzer that's going to have three times the alcohol as white claw. It should be on the market in the coming months. It's a Bobby Bones show. All right, I will play you the theme to a classic TV show, just name the show. These are old school, by the way. Song number one.
Starting point is 00:51:24 I'm in. What a jam. Love boat. Oh, correct. Lunchbox. Chips. Eddie? Love boat, man.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Come. All right, name. When you're a kid. Yeah, I've never heard that one for in my life. Name this classic TV show theme song. What's the show? Don't place another minute on you crying. As long as we got each other
Starting point is 00:52:18 I'm in. I'm in for the win. Amy? Growing pains. Growing pains. Ready? Family ties. Wow.
Starting point is 00:52:29 It was either one of those. That's where I... One of the two? Yep, that's where I was like... Name this one. Oh boy. Men. What?
Starting point is 00:52:43 What? Welcome back. Your dreams for your ticket. Welcome back to that same old place. Amy? Welcome back, Carter. No. Yep, yep.
Starting point is 00:52:58 Give her the buzzer. We lost it. Why'd you dingy? Lunchbox. I put family ties. Eddie. It's Mr. Carter. Welcome back Carter.
Starting point is 00:53:05 What is it? Cata. Spell it. C-O-T-O-R. I'll take Cotter. It's Cotter. Okay. How is it spelled?
Starting point is 00:53:15 Cotter. You said Carter. Yeah, there's no R. Thank you. Name this. Oh no, don't okay us. You know you were wrong. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:25 You did say Carter. But you got that quick, Amy. I know. I really thought it was Carter. Here we go. I'm in. I'm in for the win. I'm in.
Starting point is 00:53:41 For the win. Okay. If Amy and Eddie are tied. Yeah. Amy 5. Eddie? Hawaii 5. Mike?
Starting point is 00:53:49 Magnum P.I. I didn't watch a lot of TV back in the day. Amy, Eddie, we got a tie. here. There we are. Nice for you. All right. You end in a tie?
Starting point is 00:53:57 You end in a tie. All right. Let's say Amy, you were flying from here to Texas and you're in the airplane and all of a sudden the cabin fills up with smoke, heavy fog.
Starting point is 00:54:09 I'm freaking out. Yeah? Yeah. Yeah. What would your husband say about that? Him being a pilot? Day calm. Do I need the breathing thing?
Starting point is 00:54:19 Do I need oxygen? If it doesn't drop, you should start punching the ceiling. Give me that breathing thing. Yeah. Make sure to. Put the oxygen on yourself before helping others. Stay calm.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Be prepared. Know where the exits are. Stuff like that. Put your shoes on. Well, you're getting ready for a crash. It's just smoke. And Amy's like, brace for impact. Well, I'm telling you what my husband would tell me to do.
Starting point is 00:54:42 Passengers were alarmed after a thick layer of mist started filling up the cabin on a Delta flight. Going from Jacksonville to New York. One of the passengers filmed the cabin. I'm looking at it now. You can't see it. It looks like it gets real foggy on the streets and you can't see ahead of you. Yeah. It was so thick.
Starting point is 00:54:59 She said maybe it's from human weather, but the Delta flight attendants didn't explain what was going on. I have a friend that's a flight attendant. And I was like, hey, what's the deal? If something goes wrong. Like, are you guys trained to just show nothing as wrong? She's like, oh, yeah. We're trained to do nothing that shows we're alarmed in any way whatsoever. And you know flight attendants only get paid for when the plane is in the air?
Starting point is 00:55:22 they can be at the airport, they can be doing things on the ground, they never get paid for that. Even if there's like a delay and they're supposed to be on the clock? They do not get paid for that. Wow. They only get paid when the flight is in the air off the ground. Isn't that crazy? They get paid per hour?
Starting point is 00:55:35 I thought they'd be salary. They get paid while the flight is in the air. That's why you want those European flights. Yeah, long time. The pilots get paid the best. Those that get like New York to Paris twice a month, they're like loaded. How do you know?
Starting point is 00:55:49 Well, my husband knows five. I don't know what you say loaded. did, but it's a very... How much they make? Tell us. How about they make? Like in the hundreds of thousands? Yeah. Yeah, I mean, and it's not a hard gig.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Would you... Would your husband ever be a pilot at a commercial airline? I don't think so. What's that transition from military to commercial airline? Does he have to retake tests? A lot of people do it. I mean, yeah, you have to get checked out in with their aircraft or whoever you're working for.
Starting point is 00:56:15 A lot of people do it, and they love it. And, I mean, it's got some great friends that work for certain airlines. Why would he do it? He just doesn't want the whole... You do start, no matter where you are, you kind of start at the bottom. Even though he's been flying to Middle East and like doing real stuff? Right. And you can work your way up. But he looked into flying like for FedEx or like if you know someone in there and you can get in,
Starting point is 00:56:36 that's like a clutch job because you can fly through retirement and the retirement is great. But I think just kind of like the, you have to start, you know, the Austin to Dallas flights 10 times a day. He just, can you imagine a pilot's like, all right, Rook, come on. And he's like, Rook, I freaking start our country. I shot down 32 planes in one day What did you do? Yeah. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:56:58 Morgan number two's 30 Second Skinny. Reba McIntyre did an interview with Billboard and revealed that she would do a reboot of her TV show, Reba, and the people she hasn't worked with yet but once to are Dolly Parton, Fed Midler, and Kevin Costner. Hunter Hayes is dropping a new album tomorrow. It's called Wild Blue Part One.
Starting point is 00:57:17 It's a first in a trilogy. This Part One features songs either written or co-wrote. by Hunter himself. Here's the title song. Welcome to the wild. Chris and Genoith is dropping an album on September 27th called For the Girls, and it includes collaborations with Dolly Parton and Reba McIntyre. She's doing an I'm a Woman cover with Reba and Jennifer Hudson.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Then here's her singing, I Will Always Love You, with Dolly. Morgan number two, that's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So there's a campground in New Hampshire, and Bubba the dog was walking around. He's about 10 years old and wasn't just acting right.
Starting point is 00:58:25 So people were like, what is wrong with this dog? Well, it was enough of a red flag for Holly, the manager of the campground, to follow Bubba where he was going. He led her back to his owner's camper where the door was open. And when she called for the elderly woman inside, no response.
Starting point is 00:58:41 So she took it on herself to go inside. And the owner was rushed to the hospital, serious medical condition. They found her just in time. and now she's being treated to the hospital. And everyone at the campground, like all the families there are pitching in to help take care of Bubba while she's in the hospital.
Starting point is 00:58:56 But Bubba saved her life. And Bubba's how old? 10. 10? That's crazy because you wonder if the dog really knew something was going on. They said that Bubba was acting. I think that they were familiar with Bubba, obviously, and they could see that Bubba's demeanor had changed.
Starting point is 00:59:11 And then she followed him. Again. Yeah. Shout out Holly. The dog is acting. It's so weird. I'm going to get up and go follow this dog and see what's up. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:59:19 He may lead her to poop or a squirrel. But he led her to his owner who is out. That's crazy. That's a good story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobid Bones Show. Bonehead.
Starting point is 00:59:31 This story comes with us from St. Louis, Missouri. A man and a woman broke into a storage unit and they found 3,000 comic books, like from all years, old, new. And they were like, oh, my goodness, jackpot. Who are we going to sell them to? So they looked up, comic book shop in St. Louis. and they go in and try to sell them, that was the owner of the storage shed. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Ew. What are the odds, you know? Well, why not take them out of town? Maybe they're broke. Maybe you can't drive them out of town. I mean, if you're stealing, probably don't got a lot of money unless you're doing like that white-collar crime.
Starting point is 01:00:07 But, yeah, small world. Small comic book world. Yep. They have to be like, what? Do you think the guy tells them right away? Or does he call the cops? He called the cops, and then he said, oh, yeah, come back, you know,
Starting point is 01:00:19 later and I'll have an offer for you. And so when they came back, cops were waiting for him. Smart. I even told him to come back. I don't know. Just like stand here, guys. Back in a minute. Like, I wouldn't want him to leave.
Starting point is 01:00:28 Yeah. But he got him, right? You got him. There you go. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. Bobby Bones. A man in Florida sent a woman 10,000 text messages in 12 days.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Ooh. That's a lot. Okay. Now, if she thinks he's cute, it's bold. If she doesn't, creepy, it's stalker. Even if he's cute. That's too much. It's probably too much.
Starting point is 01:00:49 much. He said, what about this? Tell me if this is romantic, though. Okay. You and I, we die together. No. Well, that's very sweet. Romeo and Juliet-ish. That's just one of the thousands of texts that investigators say, Nicholas C. Nelson sent to a female acquaintance over a 12-day period. Wow, 10,000 texts. That's all he must have been doing. Was she responding at all? The woman told detectives that she knows him through a close friend but had rarely spoken with him, only seen him in person several times. The flood of texts, about 10,000, began arriving on April 5th, and it escalated. Here you go, ready?
Starting point is 01:01:25 Quote, the only man you'll ever be with is me. Oh yeah, that's a lot. It's hot. I mean, if he's cute. Her and I can drive tanks around America and blow up churches or whatever we want, and you can protect us. I don't know what that means. Here's one.
Starting point is 01:01:39 I'm not suicidal, not even in the least, but I'd rather die than spend time in jail. Yeah, you're just talking nutty at this point That's crazy That's all over texting me that much It's love You block anybody from your phone? No, I've never had to I'm scared to block people even on social media
Starting point is 01:01:55 Because I'm scared they'll come after me No, if you're blocked them, they can't get to you That's the point In person No, no, you blocked them It's all all fast-up It's just like a force is built, okay Anyway, he's in jail
Starting point is 01:02:05 This guy's in jail Just to know if you thought it was romantic or not Nope Do you talk with your friends more over text Or direct message on Instagram Both? Sometimes I have text messages going with friends that I'm also DMing with. Yeah, but you're having different conversations, different places.
Starting point is 01:02:18 Yes, because the DM is clearly about something maybe we saw on Instagram or something else. And then the text is another whole topic. So yeah, I'm like, this is getting confusing. What do you do? Well, it goes in stages. Like, if I'm talking with a girl, it's DM and then it moves to text. Like, that's the next step. Like I got hit the other day.
Starting point is 01:02:39 I was like, hey, you want to move this to text? And I was like, what do I? And it's just text You never asked So where are you in your relationship? Texting Like you move from like Is that the beginning of the relationship?
Starting point is 01:02:50 DM status And then you move to texting And then you move to Pregnancy The Bobby Boneshow Binge watching your favorite TV series Is bad for you because Your brain suffers
Starting point is 01:03:03 You're sitting on the couch for hours It creates an unhealthy environment This neurologist is like You guys got to chill With all of that sitting there And overchilling So get up and do something You can watch two episodes
Starting point is 01:03:15 But they're like if you're sitting down for three or four Like your brain almost goes into a hibernation Oh you know what they call that Netflix and kill It's true I think So what's the last show you've binge watched Big Little Lies
Starting point is 01:03:33 Binge watching in your mind means how many episodes Two in a row, three I would say three Two is just I'm moved enough to watch another episode. What if you have kids? You don't have time to binge watch then? Yeah. Yeah, it's pretty hard. But I'll say I binged it because I finished it in like
Starting point is 01:03:49 you know, a course of three days. I feel like that's that was pretty good for me to finish a show in three days. I started watching it again last night. I had a few episodes left. I only got through half of the episode. You didn't like it? No, I do like it. For big little lives I've just really got to be dialed in. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Just a lot of dialogue. I like the boys that superhero show because they're like flying around. making out, it's good. Did you give it another chance? Yes. Second episode? Yeah, my husband had it on.
Starting point is 01:04:19 I couldn't get into it. But you didn't even watch it. But I mean, I'm trying. Does he like it now? To me, I'm watching it. I'm like, oh, I really have other things to do. Like, I'm not just going to sit there. And he's doing other things too, but he loves it.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Yeah. Even, we went to bed and I thought we were going to watch something. We talked about watching something else. And I'm on my computer and I look up and he's got the boys on. And I'm like, can we please change this? He's like, it's been on for 20 minutes. You haven't even noticed. I'm like, clearly I'm not into it.
Starting point is 01:04:45 Or you're not giving it a chance. Benj watching definition is between two and six episodes or more of the same TV show. So two. Yeah, I mean, according to the definition, that would be correct. For me, sometimes I just watch two shows because I'm like, I got a little time. If I'm down, three shows to me is when I start feeling bingey. Yeah. But gosh, there's some shows like dead to me that was only like 28 minutes.
Starting point is 01:05:07 I watch Glow right now. It's back for season three. I've been binge watching that. That's a good one. Starting point is 01:08:50 Yes. Inside your ear? Yeah. And it feels so good, right? I know. And I know it's supposed to be bad for you. It is bad for you. Yeah, but I don't care.
Starting point is 01:08:59 Yeah, me either. I'm a rebel only in a couple ways. I will go deep with a cotton swab. And then I'll ride a scooter on a sidewalk. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Other than that, pretty straightforward. Yeah, kind of crazy. But this guy, no, I guess it's a girl, Jasmine, with cleaner ears with the cotton swab.
Starting point is 01:09:17 And she almost died. She said, I'd been suffering hearing loss and a noise in my left year on and off for years. By early last year, she could barely hear her young sons and was like, I should go to the doctor. Which, by the way, I probably didn't want earlier. I don't like going to doctor either. But if you're losing your hearing like that and you can't hear your kids, she was given antibiotics for an ear infection and soon
Starting point is 01:09:40 the swabs began emerging from her ear like coming back out with like a weird brown discharge she'd pull them out and it turns out it was an infection and she got it from being too deep in there with the swabs that nutty doctors were able to clear the infection but the damage was permanent
Starting point is 01:09:56 so as I read this and as I hear this I hope you don't do this anymore I'm going to continue because I like it that much we all pick our vices right Well, you can just go in, like, not all the way. Nope, I go hard. Okay. Until it hurts.
Starting point is 01:10:11 You know how I do things. All the way or no thing. Let's go over and talk to Sarah Beth in North Carolina. Sarah Beth, you're on the Bobby Bone show. How are you, Sarah Beth? Hey, I just wanted to say that me and my mom love your show so much. Oh, thanks. And I don't really have anything like rehearsed to say, but thank you for giving that to us to enjoy together.
Starting point is 01:10:35 Oh, thanks a lot. Anything you love, any segment you love? I love, we love the dance party. Ah, we do too. And we sometimes will dance. And Eddie and I play drums and instruments during almost all the songs. We do. Yeah, air drums and instruments.
Starting point is 01:10:49 Yeah, well, I mean, it's understood, right? Yeah, yeah. Sarah Beth, thank you for calling. Appreciate that. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So United Airlines is enforcing a new drinking rule for pilots. Yeah, none. No, no.
Starting point is 01:11:06 They can drink. But so the F.A. their regulation is eight hours before flying no more alcohol. And so, you know, they should be abiding by. But United Airlines had some issues recently with pilots showing up drunk before a flight. So now they are enforcing they cannot have alcohol at least 12 hours before work. So they're four hours more than the FAA. Well, I wonder about those pilots that got in trouble.
Starting point is 01:11:33 Like, you know you can't. And it's not even that you'll get a little ticket. you'll go to jail. Yeah. That's crazy to me that they were arrested. So 12 hours, huh? What did your husband say about that as a pilot? Do you talk to him about that at all?
Starting point is 01:11:46 I mean, he doesn't drink. Like, he'll, like, even he will not drink if he has a flight, like, the next day. I mean, I don't know how many hours goes in, but he won't have, like, a lot. I'd say he have a glass of wine or, like, a beer, but he'll be like, no, I'm flying tomorrow. I don't, I want to be focused, because he likes to wake up early, he likes to study. Yeah, do what pilots do. Wake up early, study. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:07 How are he flying again? Patterns? I know. It's so weird. Like, even in the Air Force, I was like, you've been flying that same plane. You know how to fly it. But his thought process and why he would study before every flight is because you never know, you don't know what circumstance you could be faced with.
Starting point is 01:12:21 And you might have to make a split second decision. And he wants his all the, like his brain ready. Like, you know, when you read, your brain's more awake. So when you study the airplane, he feels more in touch. I agree with that. I'll read books. And I just start saying words. I'm not even sure.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Here's the thing too about, let me say this, people that mispronounce words, I think they should be given a little more credit. Because if you hear a word and you repeat it back, that's what you heard. If you say a word that you've only read and you mispronounce it, that's because you read. You should get credit for mispronouncing words. So when lunchbox says ambulance. Well, no, that's he. He's heard us say it. But if you're reading a word and you just start using it because you understand the context, but you never heard it, you really don't want to say it.
Starting point is 01:13:07 So people that mispronounce words, mostly it's because they've read it and they just haven't heard it. Okay. So I always think we give people a hard time that mispronounced words sometimes if they've never actually heard the word. They should get like a reading point, a personal pan pizza from pizza hype from like book it. Okay. Yeah. Amy, what else you got? So there's this married couple and they've worn matching outfits every day for 67 years.
Starting point is 01:13:25 I saw that. And I thought it was so cute. And I just wanted to give them a shout out. They're a couple in California. And yes, matching outfits every single day, 67 years. They got married at 19. They are now 87 years old. So Francis and Rosemary Clontz
Starting point is 01:13:40 Don't know how to say their name because I'm only reading it There you go. See my point? Good job, Amy. I've never heard it. But I just think it's adorable. They met in junior high, got married. How cute is that? And he went along with it. Would you do that, bones? She probably presented this idea.
Starting point is 01:13:55 If it was the right girl. Yeah. I'd do anything for the right girl. Nice. Two things I would do anything for. The right girl or Klondike Bar. I got it. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Amy, what else? Okay. I know that we've been doing the drafts lately, and I think I want to kind of do this to maybe present it as, like, an upcoming draft. Go ahead. The best food on a stick? Initially, I go corn dog, right? It's got the bread and the meat, and you put the mustard on it.
Starting point is 01:14:21 I'm going corn dog, my first overall pick on a stick draft. And this is a survey where Americans were polled. So, ding, ding, ding, corn dog came in at number one. Let's see. What else would I draft in the on a stick? You know, I do like it. a kebab if the kebab is correctly positioned.
Starting point is 01:14:40 Any kind of protein? Sure. The right cabob. I'm going to go with a... Amy, I'm going to go with the kebab. In a number three. I got a meat kebab. Thank you. Nice. On a stick. Let me think about this. I mean, number two. Does it have to... I'll be hot stuff. Can be a popsicle? Because I do like a...
Starting point is 01:14:56 There you go. It has to be ice cream. I do like a... Well, I like a push-up. But more so I like that bomb pop. The red, blue one? Or the banana chocolate. That one right there's a one I'll pick. I don't know name of that one, but I like that one, though, too. Maybe the banana bomb or something. I think they're rockets, right? That is number two, popsicles.
Starting point is 01:15:14 It is? It is. Wow. I'm great at this one. The number four one my kids had for the first time this summer. Oh, let me guess. Daughter thought it was like heaven on a stick. Carnival? Oh, oh, cotton candy.
Starting point is 01:15:27 That's not on here, but that's a good one. Paul stupid. What's four? Caramel apple. Oh, yeah? Candy apple. I'm thinking about the caramel apple, right? What?
Starting point is 01:15:39 It's only good for like a bite. And then you gotta eat the apple. Oh, well, she thought it was amazing because she's only ever had an apple, just an apple alone. It's messy. I like a bob of, I call it caramel. I like a whole bob of caramel
Starting point is 01:15:51 instead of the apple. But is caramel wrong? No. I say both. It depends on my day. I would say caramel apple if it were me, but I'm from Arkansas. I don't know if that's a southern thing
Starting point is 01:16:00 if that's the reason I picked that. How do you say it? Caramel. Caramel. How do you say it? Caramel. You hoity tooties over there. Eddie and I from South Texas.
Starting point is 01:16:11 Weird, I don't know. Is that it, Amy? What was number five? Number five is lollipops. Oh, yeah. I went to the store because I love... Blowpop. One of my favorite things is gas station shopping.
Starting point is 01:16:21 I love to play gas station supermarket sweep. Because I can go into a gas station. And maybe it's because it's a kid. We can afford things in the gas station. I can have anything I want. And it's so cool to me to go in and have... Whatever I want. Sunflowers, eat suckers.
Starting point is 01:16:34 And I bought like five suckers. I bought the blowers. pop pops and I bought the Tootsie Pops. Oh, nice. And then I took a whole trip from Austin to San Antonio. All I did was eat suckers all the whole time. Do you eventually bite into it or you suck the whole way? You know, I suck a lot. Oh boy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:48 I mean, like, all the way down to the bottom or do you bite? Oh, you go all the way. Because there's two times. Well, I'll suck the whole thing. But when it gets to the gum or the tootsie, I'll actually bite into it. But I don't bite the hard thing. I just suck. Good. All right. Good for you, man.
Starting point is 01:17:04 All right. Thank you. Amy. Is that the way? I'm Amy. That is the file. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Say home, it's something good. Sergeant Seth Craven had been serving in the military over in Afghanistan. His wife's going to be giving birth, and they said, hey, go home for the birth of your child, so he's trying to get to West Virginia. He makes it to Philadelphia.
Starting point is 01:17:26 From Philadelphia to West Virginia, flight canceled because of maintenance issues. There's no flights for another 24 hours to where he's going. Another passenger hears about it And she says, hey, I got a car in the parking garage I'm headed to West Virginia, let's go. So she drove him all the way to the hospital. So they were both going back to West Virginia. She was going there for business.
Starting point is 01:17:46 And so she said, you know what? I'll take my car and drive you there. Okay, so she wasn't on a connector. Like she was just there at the airport. Yes, she was just there at the airport and she drove all the way there. I mean, Charlene Bickers, that is awesome. He made it for the birth of his child.
Starting point is 01:18:02 seven hour drive. Wow. Boy, I wonder if you're him and she's giving you a ride if you feel like you have to talk the whole time, but can you just take a nap? That'd be kind of rude, huh? Well, I don't know. I don't want to talk for seven hours.
Starting point is 01:18:15 Put your headphones on it. Can you just put your headphones on? Hey, thanks for driving. Hey, wait me up when we get there. And do you have to give her gas money? Oh, true. You don't have to because she offered, but you probably should if you can.
Starting point is 01:18:27 Can you choose what she plays on the radio? Oh, it's a good question, too. There's so many layers to this. And who gets to pick where you stop for food? So many layers. That's a good story. Lunchbox, thank you. Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Starting point is 01:18:39 Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. All right, time for the investigative morning corning. Amy's got the joke, and this is the one day of the week that we try to figure it out ourselves. There is 90 seconds put up on the clock. Let me introduce my teammates. First of all, lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:19:03 I'm ready. I'm ready to investigate. I'm feeling good. I feel like a detective today. I watched a Law & Order SVU last. Last night. You're ready. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:10 I'm ready, dude. Always. And his red hoodie and his Santa Cruz hat. By the way, our listeners are asking about that Santa Cruz hat. Yeah. One of my friends who's an artist, Joy Williams from the Civil Wars, was like, I'm from there. What's up with Eddie's hat? Yeah, I'm not.
Starting point is 01:19:24 No, a listener gave me this hat. Like four years ago. And I found him the back of my closet. I'm like, it's a cool hat. I'm going to start wearing it. Are a lot of people asking you about it? Yes. They're like, Santa Cruz represent.
Starting point is 01:19:34 I'm like, awesome. Somebody gave me this hat. Isn't that more the skateboard brand? I think so, yeah. Still, it's a town. Yeah. And here I am. I'm Bobby, and we shall now figure this out.
Starting point is 01:19:43 Ready, Amy. Ready. And here is the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call a potato wearing glasses? A potato wearing glasses. Eye spud. I spy.

Starting point is 01:21:53 Spectator. Yeah. I mean, now I want y'all to get it. That just kind of fell out of my mouth. I didn't even know that I was thinking it. That's awesome. I think I was just saying words, boys. I'm going to be honest with you.
Starting point is 01:22:04 We'll take it. We'll take that. We'll take that right there. Eddie? Clear eyes. Full hearts can't lose. Wow, there we have it. Where to go, Bones.
Starting point is 01:22:14 Thank you very much. Let me go over and talk to Ashley in Indiana, who's sitting over there waiting. Ashley, how are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm real good. What would you like to say? I just moved to Paul.
Starting point is 01:22:27 I have been a really big fan for a long time, and I was having a busy morning and woke up tired and with a headache, and I was on my way to work, and I heard you guys. guys and it just really made my day better. Oh, thanks. I want to say, thank you all. You know, our goal in doing this show, at least it's always been for me, it's really, I'll be honest with you, it's not about the music at all. Like, we're just told to play a few songs in the morning, or like, nah, whatever.
Starting point is 01:22:49 We do like some of the music. Some we're like, whatever. But we hope that you feel like your friends are talking with you, not so much to you, and you're getting to listen to people who have somewhat similar sensibilities in lives. Now, listen, I know people aren't like me and they're not, you know, nutty and 39 and never been married but I feel like a lot of people feel like we feel about issues. So the fact that you can listen to our show and it brings a little joy to you, that's what we do it for.
Starting point is 01:23:14 So thank you very much. We appreciate that. We always appreciate those calls. Yeah, you guys are the best. Thank you. You know what? We're all right. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:22 I can't commit to the best, but we're all right. We're all right. Ashley, thank you. I go in a late night for me last night. I guess I did a Brett Young Bobby cast from my house last night. We finished about 6.30. But such a big guy. You just forget, because he sings.
Starting point is 01:23:37 This is those real sensitive songs. In case you didn't know, baby I'm crazy about you. And we rarely will stand by each other. He's 6'6. Every bit of 6'6. Yeah. And I know he's a big guy.
Starting point is 01:23:49 I've spent some time with him, but he's a monster. So we finished that. I finished about 6.30, which is time for me to start winding down so I can get to bed 8, 8.30, because I wake up so early. But I text to Amy and hadn't taken his birthday presents yet.
Starting point is 01:24:03 So I hit Amy up and FaceTimers. She answers. Kind of rare these days. just you have a lot going on. Yeah. Yeah. So. Even while I was answering, there was like a lot going on.
Starting point is 01:24:14 What you don't know is I was going to call you back, but I accidentally even hit answer. There you go. Oh, wow. But I mean, I was going to call you back. But it was a moment. I drive and Amy lives 25 minutes away. So not a super short trip, but I have her son's birthday presents. One, two, four presents.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Yeah. Yeah, four. And it's like, I have this big box. I'm like Bobby Claw is rolling up there. And I was like, it's past his birthday. I haven't been able to give him. I'd get over there. about seven and Amy and her husband are two kids are there, her dog. And I was like, all right,
Starting point is 01:24:43 Stevenson, here are your presents. And so he opens the first one and I got him some shoes, actually the same shoes I have on right now, I bought him a smaller version of the shoes that I have. And I know kids don't want shoes. I understand kids don't, that's not a fun present. That's why I gave them that one first. Even though in my mind it was the coolest gift. Yes, they're very cool. And it's the same shoes that I have. I love them. But I said, okay, here's your first gift. I gave him shoes. And he opens them and he goes, cool, what's next? Well, because he sees all the presence right there.
Starting point is 01:25:13 And he's nine. Yes. I get it. So then he opens another one and it's just, I buy him this little foam. It looks like a small oozy, but it shoots out foam bullets. Oh, nice. Nerf bullets. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:26 So the first gift that I give him is this little gun and I'm like, Amy's going to kill me because they're just, these foam bullets are going to be shot everywhere over the house. He's going to be shooting her, going to be shooting the dog. But like five foam bullets came with that. that gun. Yeah, so it's like five bullets. So he opens that present. Then he opens the next one.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Well, good for me. It was 100 extra bullets. Yeah. That's smart. You need those. You got to have one. 100. I think it was like 300.
Starting point is 01:25:47 Okay. Well, 300. So, and then there's the one big gift. Now, what happened was... It's huge. I meant to buy one of those big old, super oozy nerf guns. Perfect. And instead, I want to order it from Amazon, this smaller one came.
Starting point is 01:26:04 And you cock it with air, shoot's pretty good. So the big present was this huge Nerf gun with about 500 Nerf bullets. So I got them two Nerf guns that are going to shoot bullets all over the house, a pair of shoes, some extra bullets. You can see the guns up on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, but I just wonder, and I don't want to ask you this around the kids. I did apologize when I left for buying a gift that was going to be annoying to you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:27 When you saw the bullets, were you like, oh, come on. No, I just feel like I'm going to be finding bullets for years. Like, he's already a lot, like he was shooting off the first one, I think, before. maybe you even gave him the extra bullets or we found more bullets in the big Uzi. and he's like freaking out if there's a lost bullet because he's like, where to bullet? He's like, where's the bullet? He's like, where's the bullet? And then I found the bullet under the coffee table and I found it. And he was like, he got so excited. He's like, you found the bullet. And I'm like, really, there's like 500 here. You're fine. Like, don't worry about the bullet.
Starting point is 01:26:55 But also, I just feel like I'm going to be finding them. And then he's going to be freaking out if they're lost. And I told him, don't worry about him. You have a bunch more. They'll come out eventually. They'll show its face. I love that you can shoot it in the house. I just have to make sure he doesn't shoot it at people that also don't have a nerf gun. You know, we got to teach him that. If somebody else isn't armed with their Nerf gun, you can't just point it at them and no shooting at the dog. You know what I did was a mess up.
Starting point is 01:27:18 It's the big gun needed batteries. I didn't know that. I didn't have batteries for it. That's battery operated. So we shot the little gun, but the big gun is just a big old clunker until they can put some power into it. You're going to get batteries for it. He's going to leave it. Yeah, no, we're going to get batteries for it.
Starting point is 01:27:30 It's awesome. Like, I'm excited that he wants to, he has something fun to, like, play with it. with he loves it he's a boy i mean girls can love it too but he's really into it i'll tell you boys love those nerf guns they do and i've bought in those that 300 round bullet things whatever somehow you lose them all that's it yeah somehow you're gonna lose all 300 oh it's weird okay so there is a concern that's why it's good i have 500 well then went back home went right to bed almost and then that was it that was the night yep solid night of productivity yeah i rarely get over to amy's house on a weekday but I was glad that you guys were available.
Starting point is 01:28:07 No, it was awesome, and it was super thoughtful and kind and nice of you to come over. Starting point is 01:31:51 patiently. Hey Brooke. Thanks for calling the show. Hey, Brooke. Hello? Hi, CDO. Hey. Almost. I can't answer that. I can't do that. Unless they say the right thing, which is morning studio. You can't yell, hey, Amy. Okay, sorry, I was being nice. Amy's like a road.
Starting point is 01:32:12 Hi. Hi, yeah. Because I started and I was like, oh, she didn't say the right thing, but I don't want her to feel like we're not acknowledging her. It's like if you put the wrong key in the door, does the door open? Nope. No. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:21 Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. No. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:32:27 Oh, she can't hear her. Oh, she can't hear her. Okay. But, hey, Brooke, say morning, studio. Oh, morning studio. Morning. What's up, Brooke? Go ahead, Brooke.
Starting point is 01:32:41 I just wanted to say how much I love y'all's show. I listen to it every morning going to work, and it just puts me in a great move. So I really appreciate y'all. Thanks, Brooke. We appreciate you, too. And we're giving you a hard time because we care. That's what we do with our friends.
Starting point is 01:32:57 That's all I didn't. I wouldn't listen to the show. That's not talking about there. There she is Brooke, everyone. All right. Thank you. By the way, have we announced that we're doing Birmingham, raging idiots? Mm-mm. Okay, never mind. No. You've sort of done it like that.
Starting point is 01:33:10 Yeah. But I still haven't said we're going to Birmingham. You haven't. But you've just said. At Alabama Theater in November. No, you have not said that, no. And we're playing Fresno, but we've announced a big fear in Fresno, right? Yeah. All right. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:33:21 With Bobby. Tell me something good. An Uber driver from Buffalo, New York is going viral. After her random act of kindness towards a woman she met while she was driving. Now, a passenger confessed to her Uber driver that she wasn't going to be able to buy certain things she needed until Christmas time. So after dropping the lady off at work, the Uber driver went and bought her some of the items and a Visa gift card for the rest of the stuff and then dropped it off through the drive-thru. Here's a clip. Diane, so this morning I gave you an Uber ride to work.
Starting point is 01:33:55 So I bought you a dress. And then here's a $50 visa gift card. So you can take that and get your house shoes and your role when it's time, okay? Thank you so much. This has been such a horrible day. You just made my own day. That's so much better. Isn't that awesome?
Starting point is 01:34:10 Wow. Yeah, that's so cool. Just somebody going, I got you. I don't really know you that much, but since we're kind of the same as in humans, like I got you. That's awesome. That's what it's all about right there.
Starting point is 01:34:21 That was tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let know. We're transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right. Now, here he is.
Starting point is 01:34:34 Ohio State is trying to trademark the word the, as in the Ohio State. So they have filed a trademark, and they do say the Ohio State, but thee is the most used word in the English language. And so other schools are like, okay. Also, I'd like to trademark, let's see, and, oh, of, from, then. I mean, if they're going to take the number one word, their plan is spent the on merchandise. And there are already some shirts available, what you can do. But what trademarking does is then you just own it, nobody else can have it. They can do it right now all they want, but other people can do it too.
Starting point is 01:35:12 We could be like the Bobby Bone Show in all caps. So, a spokesperson for Ohio State said, like other institutions, Ohio State works to vigorously protect the university's brand and trademarks. These assets hold significant value. What do you think about the, Amy? I mean, I don't think it's trademarkable. So, sorry, suckas. Yeah, it's just the most common use word in the English language. That's the trouble with it.
Starting point is 01:35:35 Right. Mark Jacobs filed a similar application using the word the, as in the backpack from Mark Jacobs. And but the backpack was confirmed and it was approved because it was the backpack. All together. The backpack. Yeah. You can have the Ohio State University, sure, as long as it's all together. So I thought that was funny.
Starting point is 01:35:52 I saw that yesterday. What else was? I saw this woman, Amy, and this reminded me of you, she's a blogger in Florida. Her kids went back to school and to celebrate she went to Disney World alone. and so I wonder if you hear stories like this and for the first time relate and go oh I get it yeah just like wanting to go do something alone so her name is Lisa and she went to Magic Kingdom
Starting point is 01:36:16 after her two sons went back to school she lived about a mile from the park and other parents were there and it was kind of like where the parents went when they dropped their kids off and they were just celebrating it and some people were like uh why your kids are back in school just be happy but some you know I wondered if you're a mom now and you kind of understand the relief of your kids going back to school.
Starting point is 01:36:35 Be like, oh, thank goodness. No, I get that. I get that. And then just wanting to go do something that you want to do all by yourself without anybody else. Yeah. Were you happy when your kids went back to school? Yes, I get. I mean, I work full time.
Starting point is 01:36:51 If I had to be at home all summer long, like my sister has four kids, to stay at home mom. And summers, like I saw what summers were like for her. And yeah, I'm sure she would be like, at the Disney Park too. But for me, I'm working full-time, so yeah. I don't really know that I have that much, but I do need my space at times, so I get it.
Starting point is 01:37:12 I saw some more news about the Crisley's. Oh, yeah. What's the update? Well, I want to go over to our roving Crisley reporter, Mike D. With the update. Mike D., what's the update on the Crisleys and the money issues they're having? They have turned themselves in, and they pleaded non-guilty. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:37:29 So they've turned themselves in, meaning they went and said, okay. Yeah, tax evasion. They were released on a $100,000 bond. Huh. I thought you're about to say they turned themselves in and pleaded guilty. But it was not. So you turn yourself in just to say, hey, we're going to be compliant, right? Never turn myself in, but I would assume that's...
Starting point is 01:37:46 But if the law is after you... Yes, you have to go... Then you're on the run. I'm here. I'm checking in. Right. But I'm not guilty. Right. And so any other news?
Starting point is 01:37:54 Well, apparently their son is in some financial trouble, too. Like, he wasn't paying taxes either. So, I mean, there might be something there now. Oh, so you're shipping. shifting a bit from you going, you don't think they did it to maybe there's something there. Because there's all this other stuff coming out now and it's like, oh, there's, yeah. How old is their son? He's, like, does he understand?
Starting point is 01:38:13 Oh, okay, I'm like, does he understand taxes? I was watching him. Did he not pay for like $16,000 or something? Yeah, in 2014. He's 23. So, but in 2014, he didn't pay. He was in his teens. Hey, you're 18.
Starting point is 01:38:28 Okay. So, anything else? So right now they just can't travel anywhere. They can only go do their show, but they can't put your house arrest. Ooh, they have ankle bracelets. Ooh. Do I have Todd's number? For sure, he won't talk about this.
Starting point is 01:38:41 Well, hit him on. Hey, give them a call. I'm still on team no crime. Right. I don't know enough about it. And I do know that they are, they've always been nice to me. And isn't that all the matters? If they're nice to us, they were cool.
Starting point is 01:38:56 And evading taxes doesn't mean you're not nice. Hey, whatever. All I know is, maybe you forgot. Hey, all I know is I'm on team. No jail. Yeah. They're funny. Team innocent until.
Starting point is 01:39:07 Oh, there's that team too. Yeah, innocent until proven guilty. Yeah. There's that team. Mike D, are you thinking that they are going to jail? You make the call right now. I think they might be going to jail, yeah. What?
Starting point is 01:39:16 That is quite the flip from yesterday. Yeah, welcome to my team. Yeah, that's crazy. Clink, clink, clink. A-Con. Is that the jail cell? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:27 Maybe they could do Chris Lee's nose best from the inside. Locked up. Locked up. Yes, locked up. Yeah. Oh, no, this is not funny. That's scary, probably for them right now. Yeah, but if you...
Starting point is 01:39:41 The wife was at that baby shower I was at. I didn't get to meet her. I wanted to, I wanted to kind of be like, hey, because I mean... I love her on the show. Her personality is so great, but I just kind of stared at her from afar. And that tax evasion jail, that's like... No, that's like the country clubs. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:00 Go swimming. Like, play tennis. You wear all white. Yeah. Orange. Yeah, because it's a white collar crime. Yeah, you probably just, you know, have some keesh. It's all good.
Starting point is 01:40:10 What's for breakfast? Your butler brings you your jail breakfast in the morning. Well, I'm still, I believe in them. Yeah. Because I still believe in them. Does it make you want to make sure all your taxes are in order? They're covered as it could possibly be. Right.
Starting point is 01:40:26 Like, I pay extra. I just sometimes just drop by the government office and be like, here's my money. Here's the money. Take it. I think it. I think you forgot. Like there's just a government office that you could do that, you by the way. He just says government on the building.
Starting point is 01:40:39 I draw by all government offices. He's still in 20s. All right, guys, we're good, right? All right. Thank you, Mike D for your report. Here is Shana in Texas. Shana, thank you for calling the Bobby Bone show. What's up, Shana?
Starting point is 01:40:53 Hi, morning studio. Morning. I just wanted to call in and say, I am so excited that you're finally coming to Amarillo. You're so excited to. to have you. Tomorrow night. That's right.
Starting point is 01:41:05 Eddie and I will be in Amarillo our comedy and music show The Raging Idiots. Yes, we're excited. Thank you. Here's how the show works. Eddie and I go out
Starting point is 01:41:15 and do a little Broadway musical number. Amy, you saw it. Yeah, it's amazing. A little musical thing. Then I go out and I do stand-up comedy for like 20, 25 minutes.
Starting point is 01:41:22 And then Eddie and I play funny songs, some that you've heard from the record and some that you have it for like half an hour. Yeah. Before you know it,
Starting point is 01:41:28 it's like an hour and 10 minutes. It goes by so fast. And when I say amazing, I really do mean it. Like I was so impressed. I'm super proud of them, and you're going to have so much fun. Thank you. And, yeah, we'll be in Amarillo and then El Paso on Saturday night.
Starting point is 01:41:41 Yeah, so tomorrow Amarillo, Saturday night, El Paso. Raging Idiots.com, if you want to come to the show. What are you going to talk about? Did I tease anything going away? Do I need to hit? Do you remember? I don't think so. Okay, because I got a bunch of stuff that I need to hit.
Starting point is 01:41:55 I'm going to a brain doctor. I finally have it. I've been having crazy non-connection. The brain fog. Like, it's not even fog anymore. It's like a brain wall. sometimes. Oh boy. So I'm gonna go, I finally got a brain doctor, actually a neurologist. Right.
Starting point is 01:42:09 Just yelling brain doctor. The official title. So to say that I'm not a little bit nervous about it, that would be a little lie. I want to lie, but because I want to go. So you think they're going to scan your brain and find something? Anytime they scan anything, they might find something. I know. That's the scary part about it. I feel like sometimes I just want to go get scans because it's like, how do you know something's not growing in there and then until too late? And then you're like, oh, maybe I should get a scan. So I'm going. But I need to go because I'm definitely having cognitive issues. Maybe it's a sleep problem.
Starting point is 01:42:38 Maybe it's a food issue. I feel like I've been sleeping pretty good. I feel like I've been eating pretty good. But I'm going to a neurologist. I finally found one that goes, okay, we kind of specialize in creative in people's brains. Oh, wow. Because listen, I ain't doing a lot physically for my job. I just got to think.
Starting point is 01:42:53 I got to write jokes. I'll be quick. You know. Yeah. You need to be on for sure. So I'm nervous about it. But I need to go. And this is me going, hey, I know sometimes medically you get
Starting point is 01:43:03 nervous about things and it keeps you from checking it out, but eventually you're going to have to get a checked out anyway. Right. So I'm talking to myself and to others. Others too. Because there were also points in my life where I couldn't afford to go to the doctor. But what happens is, is if you don't go to the doctor and it gets worse, it ends up costing you more later anyway. So be an example. Sometimes I do things because I feel like I owe it to our listeners to be a good example because they should do it too. you should get it checked out. Maybe you need your brain. Like my butt.
Starting point is 01:43:38 You know what happened? I go... So I injure my butt, right? But it's like my hole. Right. So I did it on my bike. On my peloton, I like you tap back and I like tore it. And I go and I'm embarrassed because I have to get like this cream, this cream.
Starting point is 01:43:53 And I have to get like this preparation. By the way, I'm putting it all out there. I'm embarrassed about this, but whatever. And I go and I have to get this cream. And I'm in Austin. Didn't take all my creams with me. me and I'm in Austin and there's a CVS downtown and so I don't like buying the cream because I know they're looking at me and so I go and I buy this preparation eight just a generic brand cream
Starting point is 01:44:14 buy it and I put it and I'm like you know what I'm not even to go to the to the girl is there they have a beep a self-check and I'm like it's like an oasis in the desert I'm going to go to this self-check and I go and there's like nine people in the self-check line and there are two self-checks so I'm like no one's even going to know I'm a little embarrassed but That's all right. You got to get you, get you. And I beep it. And it goes, boop.
Starting point is 01:44:36 Hemroidal cream. No, it doesn't. Yes, it does. It yells out what I bought in the price. Oh, wow. And I felt, I don't know if they did or not, but I felt all the other people look at me and go, what's up with his butt? For sure they were thinking that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:52 100%. So I got like little issues. Yeah. Like a brain issue, a butt issue. Full. But issues going away. Yeah, you're taking care of that. I'm at like 87.
Starting point is 01:45:02 percent improved. But I'm going to tell you, 13% bad, it ain't good. It still is not pleasant. So, but I got to go to the brain doctor. So when will we have an update on that? Well, it depends if I remember going. My brain, I may have went already. I don't even know. Do you have a plan if you find out something?
Starting point is 01:45:20 Not tell you guys and just keep doing the show until I fade away. Okay. Well, I mean, it doesn't mean that it's like going to kill you. It could be a parasite. A parasite. Easy. I didn't even think about a parasite living in there. Now he's great. Now he has I was terrified of that, Amy. It could be anything.
Starting point is 01:45:36 Once, and I wrote about this in my first book, I had a seizure on my sleep, and didn't know it. And I go to the doctor, and I do a cat scan. That's brain, right? Yeah. And they're like, hey, are you prone to seizures? I was like, no, I've never had one. They're like, no, that's not true.
Starting point is 01:45:51 You had one, probably when you were sleeping. Isn't that crazy they can tell that? And I did this thing where I laid on a table, and you lay on the table, you're naked. No, you're not naked, I just kidding. You lay on the table, and they play on the table, and they put these little sticky things on you. And they make you breathe like this.
Starting point is 01:46:08 Because you have to go to sleep. And they put you in this random generic room and they're like, all right, go sleep. And you're like, wait, what? I don't even sleep in my own comfortable bed, much less than this weirdly lit room. They turn the lights down a little bit and they make you do these breathing exercises
Starting point is 01:46:25 that are super intense. Where you're going, they go, okay, breathe as hard as you can over and over to 30 seconds. Go. and you just fall asleep. Really? I don't remember doing anything except out.
Starting point is 01:46:36 Also, should we try that at night? Try it right now, Amy. Yeah. And then I woke up and they were like, had seizures. Weird. Wow. Anyway, I am going to get my brain checked. I know we've talked about it on the show.
Starting point is 01:46:50 I'm going to go and see what's up. Right. Okay. Well, if they made me even, what if I'm like Henry Rowengardner, who broke his arm and then went to pitching the majors for the Cubs? what if I broke my brain but I come back and they fix it and I'm like freaking Stephen Hawking
Starting point is 01:47:04 Nice Yeah I always look at the bad things I was look at what can happen in a wrong way What if we look at the right way? Oh yeah that's true That could happen Because then nobody going Oh I might be sick
Starting point is 01:47:14 What if I'm not And they find a way to make me better That's why I'm looking at it right now Are you just like a really good at piano All of a sudden Or I speak in an Irish accent And I'm like Boom Mike did you see me
Starting point is 01:47:25 Or you could speak other language Oh, it'd be great. Not just an accent. Right. It's just not the accent, but the... I'd love to wake up and just no Mandarin. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:35 Can you imagine? Bobby bones. When our show is over today, I would encourage you to check out my interview podcast called The Bobbycast, and Brett Young came by the house. You may know Brett Young from, you know, sleep without you. Or maybe here tonight, which is jammed too. Let me tell you what happens.
Starting point is 01:48:03 He gets to my house 30 minutes early. I love it. Love it. 30 minutes. I'm ready, though. That's long time, really. I'm already sitting at 30 minutes. I'm looking over notes, ready to go.
Starting point is 01:48:13 But he's so early. He's like, I should go to the Mexican restaurant. Don't be too early. And so he still, he walks up to my door at, because I think we did it at 5 p.m. yesterday. At 4.59.59. 59. And right at 5, boom.
Starting point is 01:48:27 Hit the doorbell. And that's what I know I loved him. Right at that moment. If he wasn't already married with a kid, I'd probably still. but he's still we had a moment there I love people on time
Starting point is 01:48:40 very attracted to that and so he comes in by the way just a big dude six foot six inches tall don't let his sensitive nature and the songs full you pretty dominating presence
Starting point is 01:48:51 and so it comes in and this is him talking about Brett Young moved to Nashville he was writing songs and singing demos and he was just going to be a songwriter because he moved here and was like oh I've seen people that are really good and I don't know if I can do this
Starting point is 01:49:02 so I'm just going to write and so but record levels were like Hey, who's the guy singing the demo? They kept going, this is a good song about who's the demo singer. And I ended up wanting to get cuts on other artists and ended up having, walking into these rooms with my acoustic guitar by myself to play for all these record execs that want to know who the demo singer was. That was why it didn't work in L.A.
Starting point is 01:49:22 You don't sound like anybody else. We don't know where to put you here. Then I get to Nashville and everybody's like, you don't sound like anybody else. This is fantastic. Yeah, right. And he worked at a hotel and just played music for like four hours a night. He was like, nobody ever cared. and finally my dude was like hey you should move to Nashville so he did
Starting point is 01:49:37 wow it's fantastic it's search bobby cast the last episode last night was Brett Young I want to do because that song Sleep Without You Remmond do we play a clip of Sleep Without You again What do I think it's about? Yeah I mean just you're probably right He doesn't want to sleep anymore the rest of his life without her Right right right and he didn't tell the real story of this song for a long time because it's really about his parents
Starting point is 01:50:09 and he tells a story about when he was 18 or so he goes and he sees his dad so i walk in and i'm like dad what are you doing up and he goes it's just weird you know after probably at the time married for 20 years after 20 years being married to your mom it's still hard to sleep in our bed when she's not here that memory never left me so when we started the title sleep without you didn't come from that but once we had that title it brought me back to that so i was inspired by that moment that i remember from being 18 years old and a senior in high school so yeah it turned into it turned into the this thing that was, you know, kind of the song that kicked things off. Isn't they crazy?
Starting point is 01:50:43 It's good, huh? When you first said it was about his parents, I thought he was singing that he doesn't like to sleep without his parents. I'd be good with him. And he said he didn't talk about that a lot at first, not because he was embarrassed at it, but because if the song didn't work, he didn't want there to be a failure song that was inspired by his parents.
Starting point is 01:50:59 Yeah, no, that makes sense. One other one, I asked him, I do this thing at the end where we just ask these questions, mostly the same questions, but I say, what's the most expensive thing you've ever held in your hands? Here's his answer. I held a $160,000 watch one time. My buddy owned it.
Starting point is 01:51:14 You have a friend that owns $160,000 watch? Yeah, it was like a... It was already an expensive wash, and then it was custom done, and the whole face was covered in diamonds. Beautiful. I would never feel comfortable walking around wearing it because I'd be looking over my shoulder the whole time,
Starting point is 01:51:27 but I held it. So there you go. Check out the latest Bobbycast with Brett Young. Fantastic one. Came by, crushed it, did a little chit chat afterward. We always talked going back down, out of the studio
Starting point is 01:51:39 on my house, down the stairs. I have a little moment at the door. But I just, he's just a little too, I'd rather I've been sitting down.
Starting point is 01:51:45 He's just a little too big for me. Dominating presence. Yeah. So, Brett Young, check it out. Search Bobbycast. Wherever you listen to podcasts,
Starting point is 01:51:54 if you've never podcasted before, it actually can be intimidating to hear, but it's quite easy to do. If you have iHeart radio, just go into the search bar and type Bobbycast, one word.

No, what's the name of the game? game you pitch a name he came up with a clever name i just wanted him to say it go ahead mike just the keys please just the keys please just the piano parts from the recording session of famous songs
Starting point is 01:56:17 what's it called mike just the keys please just the keys please that's awesome yeah i wanted him to get the credit for it it's a mighty special right here all right the famous parts from a famous song i'll play you just the keys please you name the song okay i'm going to give you number one as an example Here's the keys. You know that one? I do. Yeah, go ahead. Take on me.
Starting point is 01:56:46 Yeah. Oh, man. You get just an example. You could have said it. I know, but I hate when I get the example right because then it's like, oh, that was a point. Oh, so you just... Oh, that you could have had. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:55 All right, here we go. We'll do five of these. These are just the piano parts from the real song. I'll take the keys, please. You got it. Here we go. Number one. I'm in?
Starting point is 01:57:21 Come in for the win. Okay. Let's go over to Amy. Bohemian Rhapsody. Lunchbox? Bohemian Rhapsody. Eddie? Bohemian Rhapsody.
Starting point is 01:57:36 Everybody gets that one. Yeah, baby. Scalooch, scaramo, will you do the bon-gongo? Okay. Will you have some keys, please? Yeah. The next song, hit it. You name that song by just those piano keys.
Starting point is 01:57:58 I'm in. I'm in for the win. All right? Amy. Imagine? Lodgebox? Tiny dancer. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:58:18 That's Imagine, Bones. Nice. that by. John Lennon. Yeah, that's him. He's a beetle, I think. No keys for you. Okay.
Starting point is 01:58:29 The next one. Here's some keys, please. Amy's getting into it. She's taking her ears out. This is tough. You want a clue? But I'm in. No, I'm in.
Starting point is 01:58:52 Oh, wait. Is this the same song I was listening to? Yeah. They just switched the effect on it. Okay. All right. Everybody's in? I'm in.
Starting point is 01:59:07 Amy? Wanna be? Bye? Spice Girls. Yes. Lunchbox? I have Spice Girls, what you want. Oh.
Starting point is 01:59:15 Eddie? Wonna-be. Yeah. Saturday. Seven-in-Billy. Seven-in-N-in-old. I want to. I want, I want, Eddie.
Starting point is 01:59:23 Good job. We got two more. I mean, I got that one, too. The score is Amy 3, Eddie 3, Lunchbox, one. Two left. Okay. Next one up. Let's not do that.
Starting point is 01:59:34 That's probably too hard. For them. For them? Who's them? That's what was them you speak of. Easy. Hit it right. Hit it, right.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Hit it. Eddie'll get it. Oh, so you're referring to me a lunchbox. Yeah. I already got it. When you don't get it, I'm going to go, I told you. This one's kind of hard. When you lose about one, I'm like, I told you, Amy.
Starting point is 02:00:01 These are some keys, please. Only the piano keys from recorded tracks. All right, this one is kind of hard. It just sounds like they're hitting the... They are. the piano. Yeah, but it doesn't sound like it's doing anything. All right, Amy. You know it, Eddie? 100%.
Starting point is 02:00:19 Uh, scientist. Amy! Are you bluffing? She jumped out of her chair. What it? Yeah. What's up now? Take that. Who is that part? Them? It's going to do hard for them. They're not going to know it. She was playing them. Did she play boston? No. No. No. I just, that's the only thing that came to my brain. So somewhere in my brain it had heard those keys. wanted you to win.
Starting point is 02:00:43 The Coldplay scientist? Yes. Yes. Yes. Dye happy band. The scientist. All right, one more. Wow.
Starting point is 02:00:53 Nice job, Amy. Annie, when you lose by one, you're going to be like, oh, that's true. That's right, Amy. Yeah. Good for you. You're right. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:03 You're right. But even you have to admit. What? It just came to you. Like, divine intervention. No, that's the only thing I had in my brain. Look what God gave her. Look at the answer to that
Starting point is 02:01:13 All right one more Here we go I'm in Oh I'm in for the win Yeah Got one I'm in All right
Starting point is 02:01:29 Lunchbox you cannot win You can go ahead and give your answer Yeah that's drops of Jupiter Amy to stay in the mix Oh is that what it is Go ahead Shoot Your answer
Starting point is 02:01:38 Bad day Because I had a bad day No Eddie for the win Drops of Jupiter There is Yeah Eddie Eddie
Starting point is 02:01:49 All right, nice job. All right. Nice job, Eddie. We are. Thank you. All right. Got an update from Holly, who has called us the last couple days because Holly is the teacher.
Starting point is 02:02:02 Oh, yeah. Holly, are you there? I'm here. Okay, so Holly calls this three days ago. He says, I'm going in for an interview. And I'm like, hey, listen, you're passionate. Express your passion. If you don't get this one, you're so passionate.
Starting point is 02:02:13 You're eventually going to get one. So there's a little freedom in knowing that if you don't get this one, you're not going to stop until you get one. And so she goes in, she gets a second level interview. And then you called us before the second interview. How'd that go? Okay, so I got a tour of the school. That's a plus.
Starting point is 02:02:31 I got to meet the team that I would be working on. Everybody was very nice. I did my lesson plan for a panel of teachers and the principal. What did you do it on? Because it was science, right? What was your topic? I did renewable and non-renewable resources. I know.
Starting point is 02:02:48 Oh, anyway. Go ahead. Don't yawn. No, go ahead. Wait a minute. Wait. Wait a minute. So it was on the deep water horizon spill.
Starting point is 02:02:57 And I lived on the coast, Biloxy, Mississippi, and we witnessed it. My students witnessed the spill, so I did an experiment on how they can invent tools to clean up the spill, their community. And that's what the school that I'm applying for is based on is community building skills. So now She tied it all together I'm still I'm just hearing it on the surface But when you go into it
Starting point is 02:03:24 Okay I get it All right Go ahead Holly Well they appreciated it And said that they love The complexity And how it related to the community And so I was very nervous
Starting point is 02:03:36 When I did it So I'm kind of nervous If I'm gonna get the position or not Oh you don't know yet You're not giving us the update No I don't know yet So it's an update Just call them for another
Starting point is 02:03:47 date. When will you know if you got the job? In the next couple of days. When do I get my 10% cut if you do? How about you get a date? Oh, wow. She just came hard and I can appreciate that. I can for sure appreciate that. You know, I'm probably not going to go? But no, but I can absolutely appreciate having a shot and shooting it.
Starting point is 02:04:09 What? Wait. What's your Instagram? I'll look it up right now. Holly, what's your Instagram? I'll look it up right now. Go ahead. I have a deal for you. If I get the job, then you have to go on the day with it. I'm not doing, I help you.
Starting point is 02:04:20 That's a great deal, bones. I love it. Bones, bones, bones, bones, bones, bones. Holly. Yeah. Shoot your shot, Holly. I admire a shot shooter. I often shoot my shot and unsuccessfully or occasionally successfully.
Starting point is 02:04:33 It takes all those losses to eventually catch one. If you're scared, then you're scared. I am scared. I'm very scared. What's her Instagram? I'm trying to look her up. Holly? Okay, you don't have to stay on the air.
Starting point is 02:04:46 You can tell Raimundo off the. Yeah, Ray, tell us in our ears. Yeah. Oh, Amy now has the ability to talk to Ray through her ears only. And now it's the coolest thing to her. Hey, hey, Ray, tell me in my ear. She has, Ray hasn't talked to her yet.
Starting point is 02:04:59 What is Ray telling you guys? We need your Instagram. No, relax. We're gonna, everybody relax. Okay, calm. I've actually met Ray, so it's okay. Ray, do you remember Holly? I mean, probably before I had a girlfriend, we're talking like seven years ago.
Starting point is 02:05:13 Okay, what is she? Maybe she just met you somewhere like. Ray, she doesn't have to be in parentheses. She can just be literally He's already taking the defense Have you? He's like, I'm single. He's like, Bay, I promise.
Starting point is 02:05:24 I don't remember there. I promise Ben. All right, Holly, I'm going to put you on hold. Hey, Raymondo, you can grab her Instagram. All right. All right. There she is. So stupid.
Starting point is 02:05:32 We're all so stupid. It did. I can admire that, though. I can admire that. That's right. Bobby, you even got into your weird voice when you got uncomfortable. I'm not uncomfortable.
Starting point is 02:05:42 All right. The guy behind the storm area 51. Facebook page and plan now has officially turned it into a music festival and residents are not happy, like music and lifestyle festival. Oh, wow. He had a million people on that site.
Starting point is 02:05:57 So, yeah, the man who vowed to, quote, see them aliens, the founder of Storm Area 51 is settling for a blowout bash in the desert. Maddie Roberts, over two million people as I look at it now. Storm Area 51 event, September 19th through 22nd.
Starting point is 02:06:14 That would be fun, huh? To play it? No, to go. Oh, it would have. It sounds like it's going to be the fry festival. Or fire. Fire. What was that?
Starting point is 02:06:21 Spelled weird. Yeah. You're thinking of fries that sells the electronics. Oh. Yeah. What are you doing today? I'm excited because I have an interview with Kelly Leveck. Do you know who that is?
Starting point is 02:06:30 I do not. Oh, she's a nutritionist, but she has a book. Like, she's Jessica Alba's and works with some other celebrities, but I'm interviewing her for my podcast, so I'm super pumped to hear all her tips. Speaking of a podcast, you can check out the Brett Young Bobbycast. He came over to the house last night. Just search for the Bobbycast on, I, I Heart Radio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
Starting point is 02:06:49 And Brett Young and I did over an hour. And we talked about festivals. Or do you know he never went to a music festival until he played one?
