The Disneyland Resort is everything.
We came to play the Calliway.
It felt like I was in the round-up game with Woody at Pixar pier.
Have you been holding out on us?
No, just showing you where the real Hollywood stars are.
Like Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
Oh, there's jazz, right?
And a drop.
You'll see.
Grab a Mickey Brussels on the way.
Girl, you'll read in my mind.
We're almost there.
Enter Park and Disneyland Park, we came to play.

With me, the Gecko Gecko.
Here are some things you ought to know today.
People who switch their car insurance to Geico save about $900 a year.
Experts are calling that nice to know.
Also, plants can hear when bees buzz.
My phicus just heard that.
And finally, animal experts have confirmed.
that goats have regional accents.
I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
It feels good to get good news.
It feels good to Geico.

The Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show.
I'm a new iPhone over here.
So fancy.
Well, it's got all those cameras on it,
and I wasn't going to get a new one,
but had I not dropped my other phone in the pool,
that just spiraled into me having to get a new phone
because I had the insurance,
and they sent me another phone,
but it was refurbished,
and I would assume most times
that goes fine, but something was wrong with my charger.
Like, not my charger, but just plugging it into it.
It would never charge properly.
So instead of sending it back again, having to pay full price for another lesser one,
it was like 100 bucks more to get the new one and then I'm just done for a while.
Right.
So I did have to justify it a little bit in my head.
Phones are just computers.
I mean, you're basically buying a computer again.
But you have to have them.
So anyway, and my screen's bigger.
I used to have the little one.
Like this?
I had the boo-boo like that
I got the bobo.
Wow.
And then you have like three cameras?
Do you notice the difference with your pictures?
I haven't even taken any pictures of it yet.
I wasn't getting text during the show this morning.
And I opened my computer
and all my texts came through that I missed during the show.
So I guess, and then when I message people,
it shows up as my email address.
Yeah, like last night you were texting me,
but it was from your email, which that has,
I don't think that's ever happened.
Let me try again.
I'm going to say, hi.
Tell me if it comes a call.
cross as email or text message.
Email.
Steadboy 6969?
Yep. Yahoo.com?
Dang. Stadboy but 2Ds?
Yep. Steadboy 2D, 6969 at Yahoo.com?
That's you. That's you. Just getting through.
Oh, great. I'll figure that out.
All right. Well, I have a lot of stuff.
I don't want to allude to anything that happens on the show today.
But this is, I have some Green Day clips under them
first. I get to meet Green Day. Here is me talking to the guys from Green Day. And we were talking
about the country music documentary. And I don't know if I sound like a, that's like an idiot in
these clips. Do you know? No, I think you're just joking around. And you joked at first and that's
what led to talk about the documentary. All right. Hit it. Let's see what I do here.
Bill Joe, you got a bow on. You know what that is? Yeah, it's a tie. I'm from Nashville.
Oh, you're from Nashville. They wear them around there. Oh, awesome. Yeah, no. I, have you
They wear them around their neck.
Have you watched the country music documentary?
I've seen the entire 16 hours.
Isn't it amazing?
Have you watched?
How many hours have you watched?
No, I'm on the, I just started the honky tonks, the third episode.
I talked to Ken Burns last week.
Yeah.
I mean, the smartest guy in about 100 different areas.
I watch his baseball, his World War II, and his country music documentary is sick.
I think it's a beautiful thing for America, that documentary.
It's crazy that you guys or that you would watch something.
What's funny is, I haven't seen the other one that just tried to be cool.
I was like, good.
I've seen it.
I know.
Eddie's seen him, so I feel like I'll see him.
And use the word sick.
I use the word sick a decent amount.
Well, he's talking to Green Day, though, Amy.
You guys are sick and like...
No, but I say sick some.
Yeah, that one's not a weird way.
If I say dope, you know I'm really trying.
Dope's like, I only will reference shoes as being...
That's kind of the only thing that I feel like I can...
Where do you say sick? Because, like, I'm with you all the time, and I don't hear...
You're not with me all the time.
You're only here with me on the show.
Yeah, and on the show, you don't ever say sick.
I'm just saying, okay, fine, I talk with you five hours a day, and then I talk...
Maybe you say sick on American Idol or something.
No, I wouldn't do it there either.
With your other friends.
So where would you say it?
But it's pretty cool.
Talk to Green Day.
Yeah, that's awesome.
They brought him in and I was like, dang it.
How little is he?
Not that little.
Really?
Oh, wow, he looks little on TV.
I mean, maybe his hair was big.
Really black hair.
Like, died at hardcore black.
But now I lied too.
I hadn't seen the other kindergarten documentaries.
But Eddie has, and Eddie was talking about them.
I was just trying to be cool in front of Green Day.
It was a sick interview.
Sick.
Here's their new song for Amy.
You don't bother me, Amy.
I'm trying to bother you.
It's funny.
I know.
I'm secure with who I am, Amy.
Be secure.
I love that you are.
Father of all from Green Day.
Here's a clip.
And they did basket case at Iheart Radio music festival.
And this is like their jam from back in the day.
Is that what you're talking about?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And he said he lost kind of his accent.
He doesn't have an accent like in real life.
But on this song, you feel like he goes, do you have, he didn't do it here?
No, I was watching the stream.
And, you know, like part of what made them real different back then was he sounded like he was British.
Like, I am one of those.
And now he's kind of like, eh, I'm over it.
We're established.
We're Green Day now.
Everyone knows.
So he's like, do you have the time?
I never thought they were trying to be British.
I thought they were trying to sound punk.
But I didn't hear it.
Play that again.
I want to see if he sounds less punk.
Do you have the time?
Are you still kind of says time?
Does he a little bit?
Yeah.
Okay.
Do you have the time.
Okay, let's hear the original here.
Do you have the time?
Time.
Okay, let's hear the live.
Do you have the time?
That sounds pretty good.
Okay, all right.
Maybe I'm hating a little bit.
Emmy don't bother me anymore.
I was going to make fun of me.
I wasn't making fun of you.
How?
No, no.
Maybe you making fun of me, does bother me just a little bit, and that's...
But now that makes me feel bad, because I thought we were close enough to where I could just be like, are you sure you're saying?
You are and that's why you do it.
And then, because I was like, we're together all the time and you go, we're not together all the time.
We're not together all the time.
We're together a lot.
Just here on the show.
Amy, this is where he blames your kids.
Amy.
This is where he blames your kids.
We used to be together all the time, but now you have kids.
Then you go kids.
And then you got all busy.
Speaking of Amy, you didn't care when I, you didn't care when I, you didn't care when I,
Did the, when you pronounce that girl's name wrong?
No.
I don't want to say her name yet.
I want to do the whole thing.
No.
When you told her, talk to her about it?
Yeah.
No, because it wasn't my fault.
And I said that in my Instagram story too.
So this girl, oh, now she has to.
Well, I do have one thing.
Go ahead.
And I guess you screenshot it.
I don't know if you're DMing or texting with her.
But in it, you were like, she pronounced your name wrong, which I did.
Yeah.
But then I was like, wait, it wasn't my fault.
I know I said that to her, though.
Cool.
I said it was probably written wrong.
Oh, man, I felt bad.
Or if it wasn't written wrong, it wasn't explained how to say her name, which they should have.
Yeah, there was no, sometimes phonetically it'll be drawn out and it wasn't.
And yeah, so I felt bad.
I sent you a note.
I sent her a note.
I was like, this is not cool.
So on the female show that I produce it, Amy hosts it.
I like executives, I picked the songs.
And Amy hosts the show.
And it runs nationally on a lot of our IHart radio stations.
I guess all of our country stations, like 100 and some stations.
So we picked this song by this artist named Kaylee Shore
And it's just written up there
And it definitely could be Kaylee, could be Callie
And she had taken an Instagram story of herself hearing it
For the first time
And she's super pumped
And she's super pumped and she tags us both in it
And it was nothing but complimentary
And she was like oh my god, I can't be it's feeling
And then he goes and here's Callie Shore
And she was like, it's okay, everybody calls that anyway
And then she continues to be pumped about the song being played
While I was tagged in it
So I see it and I hit her back
And I'm like, oh, your name was messed up.
It was either written wrong.
It was not Amy's fault.
It was either written wrong or it wasn't explained how to say your name.
Because it's spelled K-A-L-I-E.
Could be Kali, could be K-L-I-E.
And so I told her I messed her back because we're going to play it again.
I said, my name gets messed up all the time.
Bobby Jones all the time.
So I said, we're going to do it again.
So in the national show, we played it again for a second week in a row.
And Amy said her name right.
So here is week one of Amy saying Kaylee Shore's name.
This song I'm about to play is the first.
her full-length debut album Open Book that comes out September 27th.
She actually co-wrote and also co-produced the entire album.
Here's a new artist Callie Shore Lullaby on Women of I Heart Country.
So she called her Callie Shore.
Fine.
Not good, but you didn't know.
I know, especially if she was like, she was by the radio recording with her ear to the radio
and she's like, I'm on the radio and then her name gets said wrong.
And she goes, it's okay, it's okay.
Like talking to her phone.
It's okay.
The worst.
And so, but again, I messaged, I was like, well, do it again.
Let's reprogram it in the national show.
And here is Amy hitting it up again.
Go ahead.
So new artist, Kaylee Shore, just released the music video for this song.
Her new album, Open Book, comes out next week.
That's on September 27th.
So be sure to check that out.
This is Kaylee Shore Lullaby on Women of IHeart Country.
She got in there twice.
That's good.
Yeah.
Make it up.
Here's a little clip of Lullaby from Kaylee Shore.
Eddie telling me to sit up now.
You told me to tell you.
It's a supposed show.
I know, but I think this is what you see.
No, I see, like, show stuff.
Okay.
Like, sometimes during the show, I've only seen it a couple times.
The camera's right there.
It's the camera line.
Yeah.
The camera's right there.
And I don't really pay attention anymore, but I'll be doing a bit and it'll look like this.
So, and I was like, Eddie, just let me know if during the show that mic's like right on my face so you can see it.
It's kind of tricky because you are doing it.
That's right.
You are doing it.
It's like you look comfortable, though, when you're doing it.
You're in a place where you're like, I'm comfortable.
You're burping.
But you're just a little too low.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, I was riding.
I was riding, my low rider.
You're low riding.
All right.
Got that done.
What else?
Got the Kaylee stuff.
I have some stuff we didn't get to.
Do you want to...
Yeah.
Rejected draft ideas?
Are you on what you...
Somebody sent in a bad draft segment?
Uh-oh.
It was Amy.
It was you.
I didn't think it was bad.
We would never do this.
Why?
What is it?
Yeah, what is it?
Y'all will like it.
Okay, let's go to Mike D.
now.
Mike D, uh, rejected draft idea from Amy.
Yeah, Amy's idea was potential Bobby girlfriends.
A terrible draft idea.
Why?
But potential, that's tricky.
Yeah, then we just like, yeah.
I mean, that's anybody.
It could be anybody we think of.
Like, think of all the potential girls.
What were your thoughts on that one, though?
It's not a good road to go down.
I don't think it's a good road to go down either.
Yeah, yeah.
That's just dramatic for me.
Because then she wanted you to reach out to one of the ones.
Oh, yeah.
From the winning team.
That's why I was a rejected idea
because maybe the idea
I was like I was on the fence about
and if I'm on the fence
I'll go to Mike and be like
what do you think
and then the caper was Amy
like whoever wins
has to pick the one person
Bobby has to reach out.
No, that was considered bonus.
We could still do the draft
and then I said bonus idea
would be that the winning team
like whoever that is
like Bobby maybe he's
DMs.
One round.
Okay.
Are we doing it right now?
One round.
Yeah.
Oh, who do we want to see you with?
This is your
bit. Is it potential or any?
I don't know.
I had really thought through who.
Well, come on. It's your game.
Yeah, your game. You get the first pick.
You get the first pick. I don't even want to say my first pick.
Okay, then why would you
suggest a game if you don't want to say?
Well, I will, I guess.
I'm not making you do anything. All it was was a rejected
we do. Rejected segments.
This is a rejected draft idea.
I just didn't see where it was going to end
anywhere healthy for anyone, including me.
Mostly you.
Yeah.
Go ahead. If you want to do it, you can do the bit. I don't care.
Okay.
Go ahead. I'm not replying. I'm giving no emotion to any of these.
I'm just going to go, okay, thank you. Let's go to the next one.
Reject. What is it again? It's your idea.
Oh.
Possible? No, possible girlfriends.
Oh, it's not rejected.
No, nobody's been rejected.
Possible Bobby girlfriend.
So basically anyone out there.
Yeah, anyone that you think would be possible.
Okay. Amy, go ahead.
You're up first. First round of the draft pick.
First round of the draft pick. I'm going to go with
Bobby's ex-girlfriend Kara.
All right. Thank you very much.
What in the world?
That's my number one draft pick. Are you kidding?
Wow.
Lunchbox is the second pick.
I mean,
Oh.
She's amazing.
I mean, America wants it, so I mean, I guess I want it.
You and Sharna.
Oh, that's a good pick.
That's a good one.
Yeah, America wants that.
Yeah.
It's a good pick.
I just dominated the draft.
Eddie?
Oh, my gosh.
Why am I?
walking down this road.
What?
You can't talk about draft picks?
He wants me to say Ryan Reynolds.
I don't know what that one.
That one just gives me a trouble.
Ryan Reynolds.
All right.
Boom.
That just keeps me out of trouble.
Morgan number two, though, if you're playing, potential...
Go ahead.
I think I'd choose Lauren Dagle.
I would choose Lauren Dagle, too.
Yeah.
That's a good one.
She's awesome.
Yeah.
Raymundo.
Yo, yo.
Who'd you draft?
Go ahead and give me, is this
the final one of the first round. Yeah. Give me
Hannah B.
Oh, for The Bachelor. Wow, good one.
This is actually turned into a pretty decent game.
I wasn't, the bonus is what toward...
I even put that at the bottom and I said bonus.
We're doing it now. Oh my gosh, but this isn't real.
Nobody's going to vote on it. We're not even getting a...
Eddie picked Ryan Reynolds. You wanted to pick him if it was a real one.
What? Maybe I would have. You never know. You never know.
Right.
Raymondo first pick of the second round.
All right, though we're doing more than one round. Yeah, why not?
I'm going to have to dig deep on this one
I got it
I mean
I got it
I guess give me your ex
Lindsay L
dang it that's who I had
that's a good one
Morgan number two
wait who did he just say
Lindsay
oh
I
Hannah Brown from The Bachelor
he picked her
two picks ago
oh that's what I
yeah
I'm editing videos over here
um
yourself
oh
oh
good one
you might get votes
This is good.
Morgan, too, don't do that.
What did you pick?
I haven't made you pick?
I haven't been doing anything. I don't know.
She's blushing, though.
Look at how red her cheeks are.
I feel weird now.
I'm just going to hard pass on all of this.
You can't hard pass.
You got to pick.
Lauren Jenkins.
She's got a boyfriend, but yeah.
Well, so does Kara.
Yeah, that's true.
Amy, no rules.
Amy, that's your friends.
That's someone that you're super close to you and that's a boyfriend.
She's a couple.
with him for a year now, ish.
Yeah.
I was just saying in my dreams.
Okay, Eddie.
I'm just going to take Morgan number two.
Okay, solid.
Yeah.
Lunch bikes.
Man, I mean, there are so many options out there for you,
but you just don't take advantage of
any of them.
So, someone,
what's that judge's name on dance?
Judge Judy.
Oh, Carrie Annabba?
Judge Roy Brown.
I mean, he floated with her a lot on that.
He was trying to win.
Carrie Ann and Ah, but fair enough.
No, no, but that's not my opinion.
Oh, go ahead.
I'm gonna say Katie Perry.
She's about to get married.
Oh, they're getting married?
To Orlando Bloom.
Orlando Bloom.
But it doesn't matter.
No rules.
No rules.
Okay, I'm in.
Amy has one more.
Go ahead.
Taylor Swift.
Okay.
All right.
All right.
These are put, okay.
Oh, my God, she wrote a song about you.
Are we doing this?
Are you doing picks?
No.
God, no.
I would really get me in trouble.
Can you imagine?
Not a good idea.
You start naming three.
They're like, oh my God.
Did you turn your mic off accidentally?
Yeah.
Okay.
Do you want to wrap that?
We do another round?
I don't know anybody else who Bobby should take guys.
I mean, I guess if there's no rules, I don't know.
Yeah, it can be anyone, Amy.
I mean, because it could be like Reba.
Okay, I got it.
I got my third pick.
Go ahead, Abby.
Oh, I know.
Third pick.
Cheryl Crow.
Oh, good one.
Lunch bikes.
Amy for the Bolly Bone Show.
Good one.
Martha Stewart.
Boom, good one.
Morgan number two.
Thank you.
Lauren Elena.
Boom, good one.
Raymondo.
Colby Calais.
Married.
Dang it.
Doesn't matter.
No rules.
No rules.
Oprah.
Well, the issue with
they being married
It's disrespectful to their husbands.
Not just that, but if they live here,
they're around my age,
and they're married,
you got to kind of go,
married.
Oh.
You know?
Too close to home?
Too close to home.
I get it.
I can see you at the freaking target.
I get it.
With her husband.
Yeah.
And then he comes and punch of you.
Oh.
Yeah.
Over a radio bit.
Yeah.
That I had nothing to do with.
That Amy made up.
That was for a judgment.
rejected.
That's where the word rejection came from, because this segment was rejected.
Yeah, people online are loving the Morgan number two, pick.
Rejected segments.
Rejected segments.
Well, you guys missed out on a couple.
Who?
Dude, I try to stay away from the real stuff.
Tell us, they didn't put them in your slots.
You know, real people?
Oh, yeah.
I don't know.
Walk over to my screen.
I can say one right now.
Say it because I don't know any real people.
I'm not going to say it.
I already got vulnerable and shared who I'm not going to say it.
who I wanted. You got vulnerable about me. Oh yeah, that's a good one.
No, don't, don't let me see it.
That's a good one.
See what I'm saying, though? Don't do that one.
I'm about to play that game. Go ahead, Amy.
Did you have one? No, not one I'm going to say. Text it to me.
Probably say I'm what Eddie had.
Maybe. Oh, if it's a different way, trouble.
My phone just will not fix.
Did I text it to your...
I don't know. It may not get it.
My phone's so stupid.
So stupid.
Let me know when you send it, because I need to see if my phone even work.
How long is her name?
I just, typo.
Oh, not the same.
But that would be good, right?
Wait, did you send that to me too?
I just got a text.
Is that the same?
You guys weren't the same.
Oh, no.
Okay.
Mike D, would you like to add one on the screen just to see?
Some people know too much.
I got nothing going.
By the way, I have nothing going.
Yeah, that's who Amy picked.
Yeah.
Who did anything?
Text me back.
Don't worry about it.
Don't worry about none.
No, I'm worried about none.
All right.
I think that's it.
We're good.
Everybody good?
Yeah.
I'm gonna go home.
That actually was a good segment, Amy.
It ended up being a pretty good.
With your number one pick, it made it really awesome.
Oh, but you guys didn't pick, like, because
and Amy, you knew, because we did the countdown.
Don't say it out loud.
We did the countdown.
It was on the show, and you said, do you have any celebrity crushes?
And I said, yes.
two.
And one of them
got named
in the draft.
I know.
The other one
did not,
and you definitely
could have thrown
that one out there.
Do you know who it is?
I only remember
the one that was named.
What was the one?
Martha Stewart?
No.
Who's the one that
was the one that
was the one that was
that on the air before?
Eddie, you know
who it is?
Eddie, you know who it is?
I'm not saying it again.
Oh my gosh.
No?
No, no, no.
Who did you?
I say, I don't remember now.
It wasn't.
Cheryl.
She live here.
Yeah.
She'd have?
Yeah.
How old is she?
I'm not sure.
Older young.
Reba.
Right?
You know if she's older young.
I don't know what that means.
What's the cutoff?
Old would be older than you.
Young would be younger than you.
Oh, is that it?
Oh, younger.
Okay.
Why are you all whispering?
Stop whispering.
You said it on the countdown.
Enjoy.
Today's show.
It's pretty good.
I'll be honest with you.
Got a pretty good show coming up.
You're going to enjoy it when I hit play right here,
when Ramundo hits play.
All right, that's a wrap, kids.
Out.

And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents.
I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
It feels good to get good news.
It feels good to Geico.

Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me know.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Boney.
Hey, welcome.
Hope you had a great weekend.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Let me put Gage on, who is listening in New Orleans right now.
Gage, welcome to the Bobby Bones show.
dude. Hey, what's up, guys? How's everybody doing?
We're pretty good. What's happening with you? What do you want to say?
Man, just wanted to know what you guys listened to in the car and your way home from the studio, you know?
Days over. What do you guys kick on to the radio?
That's a good question. For me, if I'm listening to something, I catch up on a lot of calls.
As soon as I'm out, it's like boom, boom, boom, boom, I'm catching up with people.
But there are a few podcasts that I listen to. I like, Disgrace land. If there's a new episode of Disgraceland that's coming out, that's a good.
one. Sometimes I'll check out Colin Cowherd from the day before if I missed any of that or part of
my take. I'm a big sports guy. So I'll listen to those shows. And then like I like the I Heart Radio
90s alternative channel. I'll listen to that. That's good. It's one of those. I'm just kind of
bopping around a little bit. I'll listen to Bill Simmons a little bit. So it depends what day it is.
That's for me, Amy. I keep it on country music a lot.
If my kids are in the car, we switch it over to the pop station at times.
And then if it's just me, I'm listening to some podcasts.
I love how I built this.
I wish there was more of those.
They only come out like one every Sunday.
I'm like, come on, I need to know more of how things got built.
I was listening to a stuff you should know episode where they're talking about deep fakes or how they make, well, they can make you look like you're saying anything.
And it's really scary because they can make any political person.
A video will pop up and they can create a video with AI to make you look like you're literally.
doing anything.
Crazy.
And so I was listening
to that episode
pretty recently.
It's called
deep fakes.
Well,
stuff you should know
it's the latest one.
And it's called
a deep fake
because somebody on Reddit
that was their screen name.
Deep fake.
And they're like,
I figured out,
and they were doing it
with dirty stuff first.
Like taking celebrities' faces
and,
but now it's so advanced.
All you need is like
10 pictures and it can learn
how to move it while
and they're doing it with,
it's going to be like a bad,
a bad thing.
Or a good thing,
I guess,
because they can do movies
and they reference this
in that podcast.
Maybe they do a movie in 20 years with Marilyn Monroe and put her face on.
You know, it's just wild, though.
But let's listen to that pretty recently.
Lunchbox, you?
Usually I turn the radio off and I talk to my dad on the way home.
He wants to know how the show went.
He has comments about what happened on the show.
So on the way home, it's the radio's off, talk to the dad, and then that's it.
Mostly, I'm just kind of over music for a few hours.
Yeah.
Once we get out of here, for the most part.
Yeah.
I like talk.
I keep jamming.
I know. You don't stop jamming about it in your life. We don't start jamming ever.
Hey, yeah, Gage, appreciate that call. You, you satisfied with that answer?
Yeah, hey, that makes sense. Yeah, yeah, I appreciate all of it. I hope you guys have a great day.
All right, you have you. I'm going to you guys all the time. I drive for Amazon, so like radio's on, and I'm just blasting it.
No, thanks, man. I hope you enjoy this show. Is there a segment that you love that you wish we'd do more?
Tell me something good. I listen to that religiously almost every morning.
and I'm really enjoying this whole nerdy 60 seconds thing,
especially with like the background music,
because I know what it is.
You know, I grew up with that stuff too.
So that's been a really fun segment in the morning.
The nerdy minute with Mike D.
Okay, well, you know, I always appreciate the feedback.
Maybe we take another look at that this week.
All right.
Appreciate that, Gage.
Have a good day.
All right, you too, guys.
Here's the Bobby Bones show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
So I had to go to the doctor for my butt.
I heard it.
It was hurting.
I didn't know what was up.
I knew that I might be dying.
And so if I'm, you, you have to go.
And it's not a comfortable thing.
I had to sit up with an appointment.
I'd tell the nurse on the phone.
She's like, what are your symptoms?
And I'm like, it just hurts.
Give me somebody.
Like, no, no, but what is it?
In there, it hurts.
So were you seeing a gastroontologist?
I don't know.
I was something, right?
So my butt hurt.
And I was like, man, they're going to give me bad news.
But I believe if something's wrong, you have to get it checked out.
what would you rather have the uncomfortableness of right then and knowing and be able to fix it or wait three months and it's already progressed to a point where you can't catch up with it and so that was my issue yes oh it's probably you probably went to like something in the middle okay anyway i would rather know yeah so i go to the doctor and i i roll up in my backpack and i'm just kind of thinking of myself i'm like i'm a little nervous about this no one wants to go and that's a very vulnerable place to be is bent over
over with no pants on and someone's got full control of all the places that you only usually
have control over.
And I'm like, and I'm like, okay.
And so I'm waiting.
And I know the guy's going to look like a Bernie Sanders type old white hair dude coming in.
Marr, let me see that butt.
And so I'm just ready.
I've worked myself up, walk, and I go to the doctor and I get there on time.
And I fell out my paperwork, you know, write down, sign some stuff.
And like, what's the issue?
And all I would write down was it hurts.
Because I didn't want them to have, I don't want them to put that up.
on like sounds like nashville.com like somebody gets it and they take a picture of it and put it up on a
website don't need all that out there so I go and I go into the nurse and she she looks at it
your paper yeah okay and so yeah it's a good point so like I'm holding right now this is what
she does she pulls it out and she looks at my name and looks up at me and does it looks like like
oh great she knows what I do maybe she by
listens to the show and now she can see in my butt.
So a little bit I'm like,
oh man, like this is a
once-on-a-lap-time experience for a listener
if they get to go in the butt, you know?
Yeah. And so...
VIP access. So it's...
I'm still nervous, and
I'm ready for this doctor to come in.
But then there are a lot of really, really old people
around me, like, 100.
And I'm like, boy, that's kind of a treat for them.
They get a nice young keister.
You know, I'm kind of feeling like, hey, good for them.
It's the little victory. So I go
in and the doctor walks in and she is uh whoa she she and she's young and she's young for a doctor like
mid 40s and she's like all right and she calls the nurse back in who had left and it's like they're
both there to be like the witness i don't know amy that's what i thought too i was like is this like a
notary public thing like yeah yeah you can't like well as a female if i go to a male doctor there's a
female in there yeah maybe or maybe she texted her friend like check it out yeah that's or she's like
Hey, can I please sit in on this one?
I don't think that's the case.
Like, I'm making jokes, but.
So I have my pants on, I have my jeans on, right?
They were two females in there?
Two females of me.
In the other scenario, I'd be like, it was amazing.
Not this one.
So she's like, okay, well, her bedside manner or whatever, butt side manner was great.
I never actually got into a bed.
So I, she's like, okay, lean over the table.
What?
And so I leaned up with them.
She's like, take your pants down.
Well, if you took your pants down first?
and then leaned down.
No, I leaned over the table, and then she's like,
take your pants down.
Oh.
I thought I was going to, I said, should I put on the dress or something?
And she was like, no.
Yeah, yeah.
So you should do good.
So I pull my pants down.
And I'm, it's just that everything's there, right?
And I'm like, oh, boy.
Okay.
And so then she, you know, you know, right in.
She goes in.
And I'm not sure what, I don't know what was in.
Right.
But I'm going to tell you.
wasn't that bad
Okay
Like
She handled it with grace
I kept
Stop
I kept my dignity
And she came out
And she goes
Hoof
She hurt yourself
And I was like
I think
She goes yeah
I think you injured yourself
You tore
You tore your butt
Well yeah
But you knew you had a tear
I know but I did
I thought it was healing
And so she's like
This is a tough one
We gotta make
You have to go down
And they have to make
Your prescription
In the basement
Because they're embarrassed
or because this is like a hard one to make.
And so they had to make me a tub of something.
They had to like whip up some chemicals.
And so now I got to put this stuff in my butt every day.
Like, okay.
So, all right.
Do you have to go back for a follow-up?
In four weeks, if it's not healed.
Was she single?
I don't know.
I don't know.
No.
I mean, I didn't even look at that.
Oh, sorry.
No.
Well, I mean, you've been wanting to meet somebody.
That's not, I wouldn't know.
I'm not going to meet.
That's working backward.
I'm not trying to work backward.
I'm trying to work backward.
I'm trying to take the small steps forward.
Literally backwards.
Yeah.
So I went, everything's going to be okay.
People are asking for the update.
I injured my B.H.
And now you have a special cream.
And now I have a special cream.
So is it topical or you have to, suppository?
No, not suppository.
Well, it's kind of in the middle.
It's a cream.
And she's like, you don't have to get it exactly on there.
You're just going to put it in the general proximity.
And it'll make its way?
And it looks like it's in a Donkey Kong bucket.
A barrel?
Yeah, it's like a barrel.
And you got to like squeeze the buck.
so it comes out the top.
It is not pleasant.
None of this is pleasant.
Oh.
So that's the deal.
But I'm okay.
I'm going to live.
But I tell you, she handles it.
She goes great.
Like, I would go back today.
Well, that's awesome.
Yeah.
Pretty good.
I guess they do that all the time.
It's not a big deal to them.
But then I felt weird because she was doing all the explaining afterwards.
She's like, okay, well, here's, I'm just like blushing.
I'm like, he.
So, the end.
But go get yourself checked out.
If something's wrong, go.
That's my whole point with this.
Go.
And I'm okay, I'm going to live.
How did your inside stuff go?
The girl doctor stuff.
Oh, good.
Did you have to go the same day?
I did.
Same day.
So my, I mean, mine was just my yearly,
because the week before that I had an ultrasound.
And so mine just is normal.
Yeah.
She does the same thing to me.
And just similar to you, I don't know what she was sticking in there.
Yeah, I don't need that.
I think it was a gloved hand.
I think.
Yes, it was.
I'm not sure.
I know.
I was telling my husband about it.
I was like, I don't know which.
I don't know.
I don't know what she was doing.
Next thing you know, because I didn't have to do that part.
But she was like, if you've had history of cancer there, you should do it.
But it's up to you.
And the minute I kind of went like, well, then yeah.
I mean, I barely even finished the yeah.
And she just went ahead and rah.
And I was like, well, okay then.
I guess we're doing it.
But I haven't gotten any of results.
I mean, she said I'm fine there.
But my other results, I haven't gotten.
I understand that.
Just go ahead and do it.
Because for me, when I went in, she was like, I'm just going to take your temperature.
I was like, go on.
I just rip my pants off
I was like just do it
So
Oh she took the temperature in your
Oh no
She's like I meant your mouth here

You should get all these right.
They start super easy.
Every round they get a little bit harder.
Amy, you're first.
Yes.
Easy trivia.
What's the only continent on earth that giraffes live?
Giraffes, tall guys, big necks, they live in one place.
Okay.
What continent?
Well, I've been to this continent and I saw giraffes, so I'm going to go with Africa.
She says Africa.
Show me Africa.
Correct.

Not known for her trivia prowess, says Morgan number two.
Oh, man.
What state?
I don't know.
The only thing I can think of is the Empire State Building, which is in New York.
Okay.
Is that your answer?
Come on.
Yeah, it's New York.
Show me New York.
It's so easy.
There we go.
Okay.
You've all had a super easy question.
They get harder now?
Not really.
They're still easy?
Okay.
Amy, what's the closest planet to the sun?
Welcome to Earth, Third Rock from the Sun.
Does that help you?
Not a hominem for the planets.
Isn't that the song?
Is that what it's called hominem?
Ammonum?
No.
Is it how many go backward forward?
It's an acronym.
Welcome to Earth, Third Rock from the Sun.
How many sounds the same?
So there's two before the Earth.
The Sun?
I don't even know.
Hold on.
Wait, isn't that how the song goes?
What?
Welcome to Earth, Third Rock from the Sun.
So does that mean you're asking the one closest?
So it's not Earth.
The one closest to the sun.
There's another one and then there's another one.
My very energetic mother.
Which song are you going with?
Welcome to Earth.
Joe Diffy or the Raged Idiots.
Joe Diffy are the idiots.
Son.
Oh, gosh.
You just sang the Raised Idiot song.
And you also saying, welcome.
to Earth, Third Rock from the Sun.
Right?
What is your answer?
What planet is closest to the sun?
What planet is closest to the Sun?
What planet is closest to the Sun?
You have five seconds.
I don't know. I feel like I'm talking to a child right now.
Earth.
Of course it's not.
I know.
It's the third one from the Sun.
So what's the other one?
So welcome would be W.
So what's the W?
Welcome to Earth.
Third Rock from the Sun.
It's not W.
Stop talking to me like that.
I'm not stupid.
Yeah.
Are you thought Earth was first?
No, I didn't.
Are you going to argue that right now?
Amy,
don't feel bad.
I just said to you it was third.
I just said to you it was third.
I was just giving you an answer because I don't know.
Okay.
My very energetic mother just served us nine pizzas.
I mean, you have a letter at least.
Is that the order?
Oh, is it Venus?
I mean, my.
There we go.
My, my.
Now you're talking.
What starts as an M?
Montana.
I still want to go there.
Kevin Gossner.
Mercury or Mars?
Oh, yeah, Mercury.
Or Mars, I don't know.
It's Mercury.
I'm sorry you've been eliminated.
See, I wouldn't have gotten it.
I'm sorry you've been eliminated.
Wow, I've been in it to win it the last few times.
I know.
Hey, lunchbox.
Then you have to hit me with this questions about space.
Home furnishing retailer IKEA is from what country?
That's foreign.
It's not from America.
IKEA sounds like it could be from Switzerland.
Switzerland, maybe?
That's my answer to Switzerland.
I don't know.
I mean, I do.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Sweden.
So close.
Sweden.
You've been eliminated.
Eddie.
Come on, bones.
Ready for the next one?
What do the initials UFO stand for?
Hold on.
I just want to get it right.
Let's make sure I got it right.
Maybe they're hanging out on.
It's un-
Unidentified.
What is it, UFO?
UFO.
Unidentified flying object.
Oh.
Is that your answer?
No.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, no.
O is object.
F is flying.
Unidentified.
Is that your answer?
Unidentified flying object.
Amy, what is it?
Is that it?
What was it?
I thought it was unidentified foreign object.
Oh, is it foreign?
It's unidentified flying object.
Why is Amy doubting?
Why am I?
Eddie, you got it right.
Okay, thank you.
Amy, like, challenges you and misses it in the same segment.
Well, if it's an alien, it's a UF.
Oh.
Are you drunk?
Yeah.
What's wrong with you right now?
Morgan number two, you're still in it.
Okay.
What continent is Mexico located?
What continent is Mexico located?
Easy trivia.
Oh, man.
This is Kansas State's best right here.
I'm really bad at geography.
KSU.
Wildcats.
I mean.
What continent?
North America.
She says North America.
Yeah!
Wow!
Eddie.
Come on, bones.
If an event is biannual, how many times a year does it take place?
Buy, that's two.
Twice.
Morgan number two, how many sides is an octagon have?
Why are you always laughing at me?
Octo.
A stop sign, octopus.
Eight.
Yeah, I don't know why.
Well, there's our winner again.
Eddie, there are you.
Wait, I won last one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm not again.
So let us not forget that I won last time.
I don't get to.
But I won this time.
Yeah, yeah.

Yes, Bobby Bones.
So just to recap, if you're new to the show, Amy's dad got sick and he had cancer in his throat.
And you guys found that win.
Yeah, about a year and a half ago.
Been going through a lot.
Yeah.
He went to a lot of surgeries and rehab.
And finally, he was living in Austin.
He moved to Nashville.
And he's now living in an assisted living facility.
A community, yes.
But you call it.
His apartment.
Right.
In his community of similar people.
Yes.
Yeah, yes.
So, but you've been going there a lot.
Yeah, we're there every day.
And now you're getting him in trouble.
Yeah.
Because.
Well, they don't really cook in their rooms because that could be a hazard.
And plus there's the little cafeteria thing they have downstairs where they all eat together.
So no need for that.
But I, the kids are over there a lot.
Sometimes I thought they might even.
spend the night with them. They love waffles. I was thinking of easy things my dad could do to make
them things. So I got a toaster. So I put some stuff in the toaster and it's new. So it kind of
had a smell. And then my dad needed help with something. So I got distracted and went to help him
and burnt the waffles in the toaster. So I didn't think anything of it. No alarms went off. Thank
goodness. So it's fine. But like some of the people on his floor smelled it and they started calling their
nurses and freaking out. Like, y'all need to get me out of the building. Like, I think it's on fire.
And they're worried because they're, some have walkers or they're in chairs, like all the
things. And so, yeah, finally we got a knock on the door. And they're like, is everything okay?
And I was like, oh, yeah, just the toaster. They're like, we figured that. But some of the
residents here were nervous that they weren't going to make it out of the building in time.
And I was like, oh, my gosh. And the woman like next to him, she has oxygen. So on her door,
you can't get anything flammable.
Like her door says, warning, oxygen.
It's like you can't have like flammable things
or anything happening.
Then there's like a red pullstring by in the bathroom.
Every bathroom has this red rope that you pull.
And it's for if they get fall or they can't get up
or they need to pull it.
And my daughter thought that's how you flush the toilet.
So she was in there using the restroom
and then she just pulls it.
Wait, what kind of toilet do you have at your house
where she thinks that's the flusher.
She just, that's what she told me.
She came out.
She came out, real cashier.
I would never think a string was out of flushed toilet.
Well, she walked out and she goes, what's that red string in there?
I said, oh, that's for if Pat Paul falls or he's an emergency in the bathroom and he needs help.
Someone will come.
And she goes, oh, I just pulled it because I thought that's how you flush it.
I was like, oh, great.
So then, yeah, two minutes later, everything okay in here?
I'm like, yes, everything's fine.
So I just feel like he's getting a lot of traffic because of things that we're doing.
And I don't want them to look at him as like, you know, the cried wolf patient.
Oh, don't worry about it.
just cliff it's nothing when really it could be something you guys are any trouble at all no we're
not in trouble but i mean no warnings no no i mean i'm we're probably going to get him written up
soon yeah it's gonna be on the one more yeah third strike you're out but i mean it's been fun
my dad all is getting to know a lot of the girls there so fun fact i learned about these places
there's way more women than men and that's common because men die earlier i don't know or maybe they're
more, I have no idea why it is, I want to find out. But all the ladies, they already love my dad,
they think he's just the sweetest. And we were getting on the elevator one day. I was saying,
Dad, gosh, they really, they really love you. And he said, well, shoot, Amy, there's only three
other guys here and they're 110. Like, his chances are good. So I'm glad he's got a sense of
humor about it. And so we're just kind of still finding our groove, though, in learning what to do
and what not to do. But you're still happy here. You're so happy here. You're so happy to
They're both.
I'm so happy he's here, but it's kind of one of those things where your life changes drastically,
but once you start, you just do it.
You find a way to do it and you start getting it done.
And then I feel like in a few months from now, I'm going to look back and be like, oh,
this is our normal now.
It's nothing.
But right now we're trying to get that.
Good to hear.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny.
Natalie Mainz confirmed that there's a new Dixie Chicks album and tour.
coming in 2020 on a podcast.
She shared that the new album is currently titled Gas Lider.
It began as a covers project, then turned into an all-originals project.
Tim McGraw revealed a new collaboration during our I Heart Radio Music Festival this weekend
with Shy Carter.
It's called Way Down.
Here it is.
Thomas Wrette's wife, Lauren Atkins, is writing about their love story in a new book.
It's called Life and Love Growing Together Through Life's Changes.
It's set to be released on May 5th, 2020.
And Morgan number two?
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Brenda is a TSA agent at the Juno Airport in Alaska.
She's working and she hears all this commotion, some screaming.
And she looks over and there's a lady choking on a grape.
And EMS isn't there.
So Brenda's like, I got this.
Runs over.
Grab's her.
Uh, uh, boom.
Lady spits out the grape.
Saves her life right there at the airport.
If someone was choking like that, would you run over and grab them
if there are other people around?
I mean, yeah, because you want to be the hero?
I don't really know how to do the Heimlich.
It sounds like she may not have either, though, right?
Yeah, it didn't say she was trained or anything.
She just ran over, grabbed her from behind and started, blah, blah, blah.
And the lady spit out the grate.
But if no one else is doing anything, I would try it just so you get me on film saying,
look, this guy tried to be a hero.
So either I look like I tried to be the hero, or I'm going to be the hero.
So I'm going to get some kind of credit.
So it's about credit.
Absolutely.
I mean, it's cool.
I saved the life, too, but I get credit.
And, you know what happens then?
Talk shows call.
Good morning America wants me to come on, say hello, you know.
I didn't think about it.
Then wouldn't you say hello.
Yeah.
I would be scared that I would go over to do it and they'd be like, what are you doing?
I'm fine.
Yeah, like I was just coughing.
Yeah.
Like, I got like cold.
Get your hands off me.
Yeah.
Then all of a sudden, yeah, I get the hashtag.
And I'm not trying to have any of that.
Then Dateline's calling you.
Yeah.
Oh, and they're trying to tell me to say hi?
And then what if you like break a rib?
Hey.
I mean, you get sued.
It's just, my thing is just a fine line.
Right.
I don't know where I would be because if I think you yell first.
You yell.
Does anybody know the Heimlich?
This person's choking.
And then if they don't, you kind of have to come in.
Or do you say, do you give me permission to break your rib to save your life?
Sign this.
I have this document, this release here.
No, I think this is what I would do.
Amy Choke.
No, no.
Are you, are you okay?
Do you need me to try to give you the Heimlich?
Yes?
Let me record it.
Yes.
Move your head yes.
Blink three times.
and then I would grab it.
At that point, I'm dead.
No, no, no, I got you.
No, I just died.
I got you, I got you.
All right, listen, that's good.
She saved her, and the end it all came out.
Yeah, Brenda's a hero.
Good for her.
There you go.
Thank you.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Lobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Story up the day.
This story comes us from Centerville, Ohio.
A man pulled up to the local gym, ready to go, get his swim on, get his workout on,
pulls up, and instead of hitting the break, hits the
the gas, right through the window, and guess where the car ended up, right in the pool.
Oh, no.
Is he old?
Do you like 100?
No, no, no, just in his 50s.
Oh, what a bonehead.
If he'd have been real old, that makes me sad.
But 50s, that you guys just, he's not paying attention.
Yeah.
Focus.
Yeah, minor injuries.
One person swimming laps and the driver of the car, minor injuries.
Oh, no.
Yeah, minor injuries, though.
Minor, no major.
Imagine you're swimming.
And a car comes flying in?
No.
Wow.
All right, there you have it.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Well, it's time for Lunchbox versus Amy, where it's 9 to 8.
Lunchbox is in the lead.
He could win a season.
If he wins today, it's over.
I know.
We may retire the game.
Although last week's ending was very controversial,
people on Instagram were beating me of about you not winning last week.
Yeah.
But I couldn't give it to you.
It was controversial.
about that. Nine to eight, I ask Amy, three dude questions, ask lunchbox, three lady questions,
and we see where the cookie crumbles, how the chips fall. Ready? Ready? Yeah. All right, here we go.
Amy, you get three questions. We Google trivia questions for dudes, and you're up first with three
questions for dudes. Ready? This device is attached to a car, usually at the rear, and it changes
the aerodynamic shape of a vehicle. What is that thing called in the back of a car? A spoil. A
Boiler.
Yeah.
Good, good, good.
Okay.
Amy.
Yeah.
What is the insulation in your home's walls likely made of?
Fiberglass.
I don't know that I want to got that.
Yeah, because, well, I know it's really itchy and my mom would be like, don't touch it.
It's fiberglass.
All right.
Sherman Williams, Bear, and Benjamin Moore are brands of what?
Paint.
Dang.
What?
What?
Dang.
three today.
Oh, I can not believe this.
Wow. Lunchbox.
What? What? Why are you making that face?
Here we go. Three for three.
Lunchbox. What real life fashion company
did Rachel Green, Jennifer Aniston,
worked four on friends?
Sacks Fifth Avenue.
I thought it was a softball win.
Amy, you can steal? Ralph Lauren.
That's correct. Good.
Number two.
Julia, wait, Julian and Julia.
Mama Mia and The Devil Where's Prada
Are All Movies starring what actress?
Anne Hathaway.
Incorrect.
That'd be Merrill Streep.
And then finally, Taylor Swift announced her new tour last week,
which is named after her latest album.
What's her album and tour called?
Um, my best friend.
Give me three pop culture ones, I thought you do better.
It's called Lover.
Um, Amy.
Hmm?
You have, you have shined?
Now we're tied.
You have shine like a new dime?
It is nine to nine.
Ah.
That fiberglass one was tough.
I did not think you would get that.
I thought you maybe, maybe get spoiler.
Didn't know.
Didn't think you get fiberglass.
I thought you got a shot at all three of his today.
But regardless, Amy, you win today.
Nine to nine.
We go to the championship next week.
All or nothing, all on the line.
All for life.
You lose and go home.
You lose your leaves town.
Wow.
Next week's going to be crazy.
Pack your bags.
Get out of here.
Whoa.
Oh, there you go.
Congratulations, Amy.
There she is.
Thank you.
All right.
Nice, nice, nice.
The Bobby Bones show.
Here's a little exercise we should do.
The question is, if you travel with me, you should know blank.
Let's go around the room.
Amy, you're first.
If you travel with me, you should know.
I'm going to want to get to the airport the last minute possible.
Oh.
And it's fine.
Ooh, it is not fine.
and I'm TSA pre.
So I'm getting there.
I don't need to get there an hour early.
Crazy.
I'm going to get there like an hour and 40 minutes early.
That's what people need to know if you're traveling with you.
But that wasn't mine, but yes.
We're so different that way.
If you travel with me, you should know blank lunchbox.
If you travel with me, you should know that I'm going to fall asleep and I'm not going to talk to you.
When I get on an airplane, boy, I'm out.
If I get in a car and I'm not driving, I am asleep.
I can sleep anywhere.
So if you're traveling with me and you're looking for conversation,
It ain't going to happen because I'll be asleep like that.
If you travel with me, you should know from me that I have to have the window seat
and I have to, and I'm going to have headphones on the whole time, like listen to podcasts and stuff.
I'm not a big talker on airplanes.
Other than that, I'm a pretty good traveler.
I don't check bags.
I haven't checked a bag in six months.
Ever.
Don't check a bag.
And Bobby, because he doesn't want to wait for you to get your check bag either.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
You also can't check a bag.
Yeah.
If you're flying with Bobby, don't check it back.
If you want to ride with him in the same car.
You know what?
If you don't check it back, mail it.
We'll get there.
Yeah, mail it.
I think it's stopping an airport, but check it back.
It takes forever.
Next one.
If you live with me, you should know blank.
Okay, if you live with me, you should know that I'm clean,
but if I'm getting ready,
the bathroom and closet area normally looks like a tornado,
but I'll clean it up later.
If you live with me, you should know blank.
I'm not going to change the sheets.
I'm going to use a towel for two weeks.
weeks and my clothes are going to be all over that house and maybe some dirty dishes.
I'm just, I'm just messy, messy, messy.
If you live with me, you should know that all cabinets and drawers have to be closed all the time.
Don't leave them open.
I walk through at night and make one final check.
If you live with me, you should know that I, that I'm the opposite of lunchbox.
The sheets get changed sometimes every day, mostly every two days.
That's crazy.
If you live with me, you should know that I take up a night.
a lot of closet space.
Yeah.
A whole closet full of just shoes.
That may be a thing
if someone ever moves into my house.
My closets are jam-packed.
From all the TV shows that I do
when they're like gift up all these clothes?
Yeah.
Maybe I just let them use a guest bedroom closet.
Would that be wrong?
Well, I'm probably going to sleep in the guest bedroom.
Oh, true.
I think about that.
Boom!
Yeah, that's good.
All right.
And one final one.
If you go out with me, you should know blank.
If you go out with me,
you should know that I always like to order
last because I want to see what anybody else is ordering first before I order.
Lunchbox?
If you go out with me, you know, I know how to have a good time.
Like, I'm the life of the party.
If you go out with me, you should know we're going to get there early.
Sometimes we're going to get there and sit.
If it's like an important thing in the parking lot, because better to be early than to be
late.
And you should know that if we're going to dinner, I'm going to ask for the check.
Usually around the same time the dinner comes, so I can go ahead and pay it and be done
so we can eat.
And when we're done, we get to leave.
we gotta wait for the check
or we can keep ordering it doesn't matter
but like to get that check
have everything done
and it's all extra fun after that check
so I'm early
I'm early with the check too
and if you do try to pick up the bill
which I don't let people pick up the bill most of the time
you better tip the crap out of them
because I can't be at a table that doesn't tip really really well
so know that if you do take the check
you also got to take the big tip
good to know
yeah which is Miami doesn't ever take the check
what's the last time
paid for something. When's the last time we got to go
out? Oh. Okay, we're not
married, Amy. Now she's like, when's the last time we's at a date?
When's the last time I ever got my wallet? Oh, we have tried to plan
something and it hasn't worked. Yeah, we have.
It's fine. I've been to your house a few times.
I know. So then we do that. That's free.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So the story I'm about to tell you is being dubbed the worst gender reveal,
but I don't know if it's so bad.
I didn't hate it either.
Me neither.
So this couple, they want to find out the gender of their baby in a fun way.
So they went to the zoo and said,
hey, can we have your hippo tank?
Tank the hippo, eat a watermelon, and we'll have it, you know, infused with food coloring.
If it comes out pink or red, which I guess would be normal, it's a girl.
If it comes out blue, it's a boy.
So the husband or the father got to chunk the watermelon into Tank's mouth and then Tank chumped on it.
And whatever color came out was the baby and it was blue.
So they found out it was a boy.
And the zoo said that Tank had just as much fun as everybody else.
But everyone online, haters.
Well, when you get animals involved in something, you're going to have animal Twitter come out and get upset about it.
I watched it.
I saw the zoo said they were in on it.
It wasn't like someone lugged in watermelon secretly.
It wasn't watermelon contraband.
And it was all handled.
It was fine.
Everybody needs to stop getting so bad heard about everything.
If the zoo said they were in on it and I didn't see anything that said it was unhealthy, did you?
No, but some people are worried about, yeah.
I don't like zoos.
Don't get me wrong.
I'm not a big zoo guy anyway.
But I can put that aside for a second and go, everybody, relax.
Calm down.
Calm down.
All right, what else?
So, yeah, the Emmys were last night.
So, quick recap, Game of Thrones won 12 this year, tying their record for one show in a single season.
Other winners included Fleabag and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Veep, the Big Bang Theory, they got shut out in their final seasons.
I was surprised Veep didn't win just because it was their final season.
I watched Fleabag.
I've talked about that before on this show.
It probably should have won,
but usually they get a victory lap,
these big shows that have been on for a long time.
So it was surprising.
And Julia Louis Dreyfus didn't win,
even though, again, maybe she, like, subjective, right?
Yeah.
However, I was surprised.
All right, what else?
Well, Chernobyl, I was just going to throw that out there
in case people haven't seen it.
That one, Best Limited series.
That's an uplifting story.
Well, it's just crazy.
It's not uplifting.
Yeah, in case you're wondering.
So Krisby Cream is going to offer.
a new limited edition donut on sale this week that's filled with a coffee cream in honor of
National Coffee Day.
So you can just, the Krispy Cream, I don't know, CEO or somebody, said, you know,
we've got the best donuts.
We've got the best coffee.
So we put them together and it's an infused donut coffee.
A little bit.
Should we be to blame on this show for America getting fatter?
Because all we're talking about donut days and crazy buries?
I mean, we're part of the culture, right?
Oh, some people just like to be a...
Yeah.
Maybe they save their one donut treat for...
That's not how it works.
Okay.
I was talking to Zach Brown about sugar this weekend.
Oh, what do he have to say?
Because we were...
And I know Zach a little bit.
And we were off to the side of you kind of talking,
and he looked pretty trim.
And I was like, what are you been doing?
He goes, well, I'm back on.
I think he's doing the keto diet.
Oh.
And he's doing intermittent fasting
where you only have an eight-hour window to eat.
And we were talking about sugar.
And he's, you know, he's a super healthy guy now.
And he's, like, talking about how he would watch these documentaries about how
tumors when they get sugar, it just like makes the tumors bounce and they like love sugar.
Terrible for you.
And I was like, it's going to 20 years.
We're going to look back and go, why we're eating so much sugar?
We're so dumb.
Right.
We're so stupid.
Anyway.
Well, that's said.
What an uplifting segment.
Mark your calendar for September 29 to celebrate National Coffee Day with this special donut.
Mark your calendar.
That's got to be something we stop saying too because we have our phones on our calendar.
What?
Mark your calendar.
Well, okay, so what do you say?
Put a dot in your nothing?
Just take note.
If you were listening to the show and someone said there was a
copy day. Would you take your coin? I go, oh, Amy, I'm putting up my calendar.
I would maybe make a note. I'd maybe send myself an email. If I was into that and I wanted to make
sure I got the coffee-filled donut, I'd be like, oh, note to sell. Go to Krisby Cream on September
29th. Is asking. Okay, cool. There you go. I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Get at home there's something good. There's a 13-year-old boy in Georgia named Ty who has cerebral palsy. For his
13th birthday, the Samarina Police Department decided to surprise him with a party.
Lieutenant Brandy Foreman came up with the idea. She likes to bake. She heard about Ty through a
non-profit she volunteers for called icing smiles, which provides custom cakes for families of
children with illnesses. So she hooked him up with a cake featuring two of his favorite
things, Pirates and Disney. The officers then gave him his own officer shirt, and he got to check
out some police equipment, even set in the police car, and of course got to make the siren go off.
So the neighboring police departments in Dunwoody and Duluth
got in on the front to and brought their police vehicles over for the kids to check out.
Love that.
So a lot of officers doing awesome things.
That's a good story.
I mean, that relates what this whole thing's about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 30 second skinny.
Natalie Mainz of Dixie Chicks confirmed that there's a new Dixie Ticks album and tour coming in 2020 on a podcast.
She shared that the new album is currently titled Gas Lider
and it began as a covers project
then turned into an all originals project.
So no covers.
No covers.
Oh, interesting.
I love the Dixie Chick, so all right, let it rip.
Let's see if you like it when it comes out.
All right, what else?
Tim McGrath revealed the new collaboration
during our IHeart Radio Music Festival this weekend with Shy Carter.
It's called Way Down.
Yeah, it was good.
I mean, I was out there with McGraw.
You know, I wonder if I could pull out that necktie thing he was doing.
Did you see it?
Yeah, and he had two different ones.
So what he was doing, he wore this open shirt.
Like buttoned down, like past.
His shirt was open, yeah.
So he didn't buttoned up to like the fourth button.
And then he would wear a tie just on his skin.
And my girl could pull it off.
And I was like, dang, wonder if I could pull down.
But then he switched it out too.
Like, that might be his thing.
So I don't want to steal if it's his thing.
Could be his thing.
Internet was kind of, they were mixed on it.
You know, Instagram was kind of mixed on it.
As was I.
I liked it.
I liked it.
I was a little mixed, but I was like, well,
this is you know if it's his stage.
uniform. I liked it.
Costume. All right. What else, Morgan number two?
Thomas Red's wife, Lauren, is writing about their love story in a new book.
It's called Live in Love, Growing Together Through Life's Changes.
And it's set to be released on May 5th of 2020.
All right, there you go. Thank you very much. Is that it?
Yep. And Morgan number two, that's your skinny.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
Now, here he is.
Turn it up.
Over to Amy with the Morning Corny.
Let's do it.
The Morning Corny.
Why was the computer late for work?
Why was the computer late for work?
It had a slow, hard drive.
That's pretty good.
I'm in a fair one a long time.
I like that one right there.
Good.
That was the Morning Corny.
Let's go over and talk to Alicia in Maryland, who has called the show.
Alicia, appreciate your call. What's going on?
Hey, my mom got us tickets to come see you and Eddie in Delaware,
and I just want to know, do you bring family to your shows,
and can we wait in line to meet you guys?
I don't take my dog to all the shows.
I guess it just depends how we get there.
If we're on a bus, we'll always take the dog.
I don't know if I'm going to be bringing him to the Richmond, Virginia, Delaware run.
I don't know. We'll see. He's been a little sick.
Let me tell you about this dog, by the way, Amy.
Sick again?
Well, no, no, he's remained sick.
Bulldogs come out broken.
You got to fix them.
They don't breathe well.
Their tongue's too big.
He's got an eye problem.
They get his folds and his skin.
We're trying to right the ship.
Okay.
And now he's pretty active for a bulldog.
And I take him out in the morning.
And I used to just take him out, let him use the bathroom in the front yard.
All good.
Just say, come on.
Back in the house.
He's going back in house.
Now he runs off.
Here's the problem.
He's too short.
that I can't bend down
because any time I get to him to bend down,
he squirts off again.
It's hard for me to catch him.
Yeah.
So now I got to put a leash on him,
and I'm taking him out in the front yard,
which is annoying.
Or you could get one of those...
Why can't I just have a dog that just listens?
It's so annoying.
I thought that's what you...
Didn't you see him to keep?
Yes, yes, and it's like a temporary tattoo.
It's cool for a minute,
but now it's all washed off again.
Mm-hmm.
Well, so what about an invisible fence?
Mm.
For me or him.
him.
I take him in the backyard.
I don't mind if you use the bathroom in the front yard.
I don't walk in the front yard.
Yeah.
So you don't want him going in the backyard?
I don't want him to pee him back there.
But it's just annoying.
I'm trying to get this dog to like, relax.
Chill out.
He won't.
I'm so frustrated with it.
But we'll get it.
Well, so isn't it the temporary tattoo thing for reference of the training?
Yeah.
Isn't it because, like, you have to continue the work when they get home?
I try to continue.
the work. Oh, okay. I'm like, why are you doing that dog? We just trained you not to do that.
That's me continuing the work. I'm like, what's what we do? Yeah. I just paid money to get you not
to do that and you're still doing it. But no, he runs and because all the neighbors have animals,
so I just to run over to their yards. And so I take him outside and he looks at me. And then as soon
as I maybe release eye contact, boom, he shoots off. So fine, I can catch him. I'm as,
I can run. He can run. But anytime I bend down to get him, that, you can't really run while
bent down.
Yeah.
So that's what I'm dealing with.
And he's still chewing about 30% of what he was.
And then if you look on my Instagram story right now, I have this table.
And it may be like to with kids, too, times 10.
But they just do everything so annoying all the time.
They finally just give up on the least annoying thing.
You're just like, fine, do that as long as you're not doing the other stuff.
Pick your battles.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because he fell asleep on like the...
Ottoman.
The Ottoman.
Did you're supposed to just like put your drinks and stuff on?
And I was like, you know what?
As long as you're asleep, I don't care.
I saw that picture.
He looks super cute up there.
Yeah, it's on my Instagram story.
I'm like, not where he's supposed to be sleeping, but he is.
We're getting through it.
It's tough being a single dad.
Yeah, it is.
I can tell.
It looks romantic in the movies being a single dad.
Everybody's like, oh, single dad.
You'll get through it, and you'll look back, and you'll be like, can't believe we used to have these days.
See?
You putting my advice back on me.
Yep.
All right.
Thank you for that, Carl.
I didn't know I was going to go off on that tangent, but.
So anybody that's looking to get a bulldog, you recommend?
Yay, nay.
Well, I never look to get a bulldog.
I know, but now that you have one.
So, no, I do not, not yet.
It's just a lot.
Because they are so cute.
Yes.
And so my friend reached out, I was like, do you want this dog?
It's the last one.
And I was like, okay.
He's like, he's a bit of trouble.
That's why no one's taking him.
And I was like, okay.
And so I took the trouble dog, which is okay.
I'm down with that.
And yeah, they're cute.
And they'll get you a lot of Instagram likes, for sure.
But holy cow, when Instagram's not on, they're buttheads.
These bulldogs are, they're tough.
They're just, they're just stubborn.
Stubborn.
It's going good though, can you tell?
Yeah, I can tell.
And I was tired.
I'd been in Las Vegas all weekend for IHart Radio Music Festival.
You weren't like, can't wait to get home to see Stanley?
It was fun to see him for a second.
And then I was like, hey, let's just chill out.
Let's just chill out.
He didn't want to chill out.
He was so excited to see me, you know?
Try to take a nap.
He wouldn't stop.
Can he take a nap?
Okay.
Thank you for the call, Alicia.

The Bobby Bone Show.
You know, last night were the Emmy Awards and Game of Thrones dominated.
Yeah, who cares, right?
I watched it on the news this morning.
I was like, yeah, it cares.
Really none of the shows I watched.
Game of Thrones did, well, Fleabag one, but there's just so many shows out there.
By the way, I started watching that show Morgan number two you were telling us about.
Oh, which one?
The unbelievable one?
Yeah.
Is it good?
Or as good as...
Yeah.
It's good. I watch four episodes out of six yesterday.
Oh, wow.
It's hard to watch sometimes, but it's real.
It's based on, I mean, it is a real story.
Not a documentary.
It's like a drama, but it's real.
Okay, I'm going to give it a go.
My husband and I started, but then when he...
It's tough to watch.
He doesn't like things that are tough like that, so it's one I'm going to have to watch on my own.
What's it called again?
Unbelievable.
Yeah. Yeah. Good.
Okay.
Let's do the show Skinny. Morgan number two prepares this.
Instead of the 30-second skinny about celebrities, it's about your goofy friends here on the Bobby Bone Show.
All right, go ahead.
The latest from the Bobby Bones Show.
Morgan Number Two is Showcast Skinny.
Bobby Bones went to our IHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
He met Green Day, and he also was seen watching the Arkansas game on his phone backstage.
That's true.
And both of those had way different results.
Green Day, I wasn't supposed to interview
and they were like, hey, Green Day's coming in.
And because I've worked in every format
and love all kinds of music,
they were like, can you hop up and do Green Day?
And I was like, yeah, sure.
I'd love to do Green Day.
And they came in, I was like,
because that's like, the people that I think are the coolest
aren't today's stars.
It's the stars of yester a year
when I was a kid.
And that Green Day Dookie album,
a lot of the Green Day stuff,
I was just a huge fan of.
And my cover band,
the original version of the Raging Idiots,
we used to play Green Day all the time.
It's awesome.
So I got to meet him.
How old's Billy Joe of Green Day?
Is he in his 50s?
Ooh, he's got to be.
His hair has dyed so black.
But they were super nice.
And you know what we talked about?
The country music documentary from Ken Burns.
Oh, wow.
For a good five minutes.
He watched it?
Yeah, he had been watching it too.
And he was talking about how country music was the original punk rock.
He's 47 years old.
Billy Joe from Green Day.
Yeah, it was a great time interviewing them.
What was the other thing?
The Arkansas game?
It was terrible.
On the other side of this.
I'm my Arkansas sweatshirt shirt today.
Because even when times aren't good, I still remain proud to be in Arkansas Razorback.
We did not win the game.
Our quarterback through five interceptions.
What?
It is not pretty.
Five? I know.
I feel bad for him.
I watch it on my phone backstage in between pops.
It wasn't good.
Who are they playing?
We'll be all right.
San Jose State, not a good team.
We'll be great.
I got a complete faith in our coaching staff, so they're going to turn the thing around.
But it wasn't a good game.
But I have also in my adult life started to not put my end.
entire temperament onto a football game.
So it was fine.
Moved off of it.
Until we get good, now I'm based the whole week on it again.
Is anything else Morgan number two on me?
Nope, that's it.
What about Amy?
Amy stayed back from Las Vegas to hang out with her dad, but they did watch the IHeart
Festival on the live stream and Amy's son thought she was Marin Morris and it turns
out Stevenson has a little crush on Mary and Morris.
Well, I also thought I went to
Mary. I was like, Amy, you're here? And she turned around. I was like, oh, Marin, sorry.
My bad. So I did see your son, though. Like, she's pretty.
Well, yeah. At first he's like, is that you? And then he goes into, she's pretty. I want to go see her.
And then I was like, wait a second. He thought she was me. And now there's a crowd. I was like,
this is getting weird. Stop it. All right. What else? Morgan number two?
Lunchbox went to Las Vegas this weekend for the Iheart Festival and walked around Vegas, but he
didn't have anyone to party with. So he saw it from a sober perspective for the first time ever.
Oh, wow.
You were sober the whole time?
Well, I mean, I had like three drinks the whole weekend, but I mean, I didn't have anybody to party with.
So it was just me and my lonesome self just walking around, checking out Vegas, like, oh, this is what it looks like through clear eyes.
And Eddie?
Eddie and his wife took a weekend trip to New York City.
They walked Central Park, visited Little Italy in Chinatown, and Eddie got to check a Yankees game off his bucket list.
Oh, wow.
Big deal.
Reaching in my wallet now to pull out a crisp $5 bill.
Ooh.
Yeah.
All right, over the weekend, I was at our I Heart Radio and Music Festival,
and I spent some time with someone that I declared was quite lovely.
Now, for $5, you only get one guest.
Amy, you're up first.
Let me get a little of game music here.
Okay.
I was originally going a girl because I just thought the way you were acting,
and I had Alicia Keys in mind.
Somehow y'all are just hanging out backstage or something.
Cool.
And then the $5.
got thrown in the ring and I was like, this isn't a girl.
It's James Vanderbeek.
From.
Oh, Dawson's Creek.
Yes.
Now you're playing.
Now you're playing like you don't know who I'm talking about.
Is that your guest?
That is my guess.
Raymondo, can you give me a drum roll, please?
Great guess, I mean.
Is it James Vanderbeek?
Yeah.
Yes, it is.
There you is.
There you go.
There you go.
Easy as $5.
I mean, you put money and it changes.
Everything.
Yeah, I had briefly met James.
I just call him James, Jimmy.
I briefly met Jimmy.
At the end of Dancing with the Stars
in the premiere episode, because they danced last.
And I went on the floor afterward and was like,
hey, man, that was great.
And it was so, it was nice, but it was like a 15-second interaction.
And so they had us presenting together because we did,
who do we do?
Who do we present?
Who did the Blowfish?
That's right.
And so we go up and they're like, hey, James, Bobby,
go to the presenter room.
So we went back.
And he was with his wife and was with,
with Julian Huff, and I don't want to bother them.
And he sees me and it's like, hey, Bobby, come over here.
And I'm like, what up?
And so I go over and he's like, this is my wife.
This is Julian.
Julian was so nice to.
And I just kind of sat with him and I talked for a second.
And then him and I talked all the way up and he was like,
Dancing World Star, he's talking about that.
He's talking about his kids.
Like, just a lovely guy.
Yeah?
I'll say it.
Lovely.
I love that dude.
And then I didn't follow him on Instagram, but he took my phone and he's like,
hey man, hit me up any time.
He gave me a cell phone.
Grab your phone and put his number in.
Dang.
Solid move.
And then he called himself and then texted me from it and was like, James Vanderbeek.
And I was like, dad, that dude's legit.
So I'm a big James, I'm a big Dawson's Creek fan now.
I've never seen him, but it's my favorite show today.
I love, I love Dawson's Creek.
So yeah, I'll say it again.
James Vanderbeak, quite lovely.
Huh.
And then, you know, he's dancing with one of my favorite people on dancing with the stars, too.
Obviously, Sean is my favorite, but because I was with her.
But Emma, she has dark hair, but has.
has this blonde hair. She's Australian.
Mm-hmm.
No, British.
She's one of them with a funny accent.
One of the two.
Her husband's Australian, yeah.
So, they're dancing together.
So that's it.
James Tanner Beek.
Cool, dude.
Cool.
New bestie.
That's not who I had.
Who'd you have?
I had Camila Cabo.
I didn't even see her.
Didn't?
Mm-mm.
I didn't.
I guess I wasn't around.
Oh.
I figured she'd be lovely.
I had Tori Spelling.
I saw her backstage.
Did you?
And I was like, I didn't talk to her, but I just saw.
I was like, well, that was Tori spelling.
but then I was like, maybe Bobby hung out with her and was like, in talking 902-0.
I didn't see her either.
Morgan number two, who were you going to guess for five bucks?
I already knew.
So I was going to remove myself.
Oh, good for you.
Like honesty.
I think people are confused.
Maybe I confused them.
In the last segment, I said, James Vanderbeek, I was with him, his wife, Julianna Huff.
His wife, comma, also Juliana Huff.
Oh, yeah.
I thought I was his wife, Julianna.
That's not his wife.
He was with his wife, Julianne Huff.
Not the same.
Two different people.
Appreciate all those texts, though.
Why don't we do the Bobby Bone Show Emmys this morning?
Thank you.
Hey, welcome to the Emmys, everyone.
All right.
You guys look great tonight.
Wow, wow, wow.
So last night was the real-life Emmys.
Didn't watch a single second of it.
I saw Game of Thrones one, Fleetbag one, two shows that I watch.
It's pretty cool with it.
But now let's do our categories.
Best show on the Bobby Bone
Show Emmys. This is your favorite show of everyone on the show. Okay, best show. Amy.
Oh, man. I'm going to go with Handmaid's Tale. Handmaid's Tale, best show.
Lunchbox, best show. Veep. I haven't seen that season, this season either. Eddie, best show.
I'm going to go with Stranger Things. Reminds me in my childhood. I think that's my best show.
Morgan, number two, do you have a best show for the Bobby Bone Show Emmys? Yeah, I'm going with Mind Hunter.
Oh, that's a solid best show.
Again, I haven't seen you guys this.
That's my point with last night.
There are so many great shows that you're just like, okay, well, I didn't get to that one.
But this other show is great.
There's just so many great shows.
My best show is The Boys on Amazon.
I loved that show.
That's the show that I was like, I couldn't wait to get back to.
Amy, it's good.
The superhero show.
I thought you said you gave up on it, Eddie.
I did.
There was a part that made me stop watching.
But I love the show.
Okay.
Those are our winners for Best Show.
This one is Best Show.
haven't finished.
The second category,
best show you haven't finished, Amy.
Mind Hunter.
You can love it.
It gets so good.
Yeah, I'm halfway, I think.
Yeah, that one makes me take a deep breath.
That's so good.
And it's real.
Right.
That's, you know that show, Morgan number two
that you watched, told me to watch,
what's it called?
Yeah, unbelievable.
It's like Mindhunter in that
those are real events and they're acted out by people.
This is unbelievable is like that.
So it's not like unsolved mysteries
is what I thought it was,
where they presented the crime
and the people acted out little scenes from it.
It's just actors.
Doing the whole thing.
Right.
Yeah.
So show you haven't finished.
You have...
Mind Hunter.
Lunchbox?
Ozark.
Yeah, I didn't watch the next season.
How many seasons are there of Ozark?
I think there's three.
There's three?
Or is it?
I only watch the first.
I like the first.
I never went back.
It's so good.
It's good.
I can't wait for the next...
Eddie?
I'm going to go with country music by Ken Burns.
That counts, right?
It's not allowed to be seen yet.
Yeah, it's airing right now.
But week by week.
Yeah, but it's not all out there.
You know what?
There are no rules.
Eddie good.
It's a show he hasn't finished.
Great.
Good for you.
I don't care.
And I haven't finished it yet.
Yeah, it's wonderful.
I've seen it at all.
It's amazing.
You're going to love it.
Did you get the last disc from office?
I do.
I have it.
I just haven't finished the last two episodes.
That's so good.
Cannot wait.
Morgan number two, the Bobby Bones Show Emmy is the best show you haven't finished.
Queer Eye, the last season.
Mine is Handmaid's Tale because I haven't watched this last season at all.
Yeah.
And I mean to
It was
It's handmade's tale
The other show I haven't finished
Is what's the one with the spies
Where they're all fighting each other
Because I saw the girl won last night
For actress
The spies
Sandra O is in it
Oh yes
That's good
Why did I forget about that
I know what you're talking about
What's it called
I'm only
Killing Eve
Killing Eve
I've only seen a few episodes
Yeah it's good
And then the other one
Is that show that you like
With Nicole Kidman
And
Big Little Lies
I've not finished that either
Yeah
So, but my winner is
Handmaid's Tale.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Most bingeable show for the Bobby Buncho Emmys.
And the winner is, Amy.
Kevin Costner, step right up.
Yellowstone.
Yeah?
So good.
I want to go back and binge it again.
I got to get in, I guess.
I'm jealous of people that have it,
that are starting it right now because I want to be starting it.
You know?
Yeah.
I do.
I just want to watch the boys for the first time.
I was like, oh, it's so good.
I'm going to watch it again.
I wanted to give Yellowstone best show, but I was like,
well, look, I need to have them.
win different things.
Most bingeable show lunchbox.
Billions.
Haven't seen that.
I think of people love it though to watch it.
So good.
That and I haven't seen that show Succession.
And everybody I know that watches it,
it's like their favorite show.
Again, I trust like-minded people
to like things that I also would like.
But that's apparently a big one.
Billions and Succession.
Eddie?
I'm going with The Boys.
Even though I didn't finish it,
when I was watching it, I wanted to watch every episode.
You have to finish it, Eddie.
After another.
Most bingeable show, Morgan number two?
I'm going with suits from USA Network.
Ooh, good one.
I'm going with The Good Place.
I could not stop watching that show.
I would have set for eight hours and watch The Good Place.
And here's the problem with that show is I watch all of it so quickly, every episode in I think two seasons.
How many seasons are there like Mike, two or three?
Four seats, about it before.
That it doesn't feel like it's spent a lot of time in my life.
So it's not my favorite show because I haven't had years to spend with it.
But I think if I watched in real time, it'd be one of my favorite shows in my whole life.
It's that good.
And like a multiple levels.
You can watch it and see the dopiness of it.
It's funny and they have to pick, you know, they're going between heaven and hell.
Or there's like layers and layers and you're like, this show is pretty deep.
So it's one of those.
Finally, best reality or docu TV series in the Bobby Bone Show Emmys.
Amy.
Conversations with the killer, the Ted Bundy tapes.
Strong.
It's on my list.
Didn't pick it, but it's a good one.
What you got?
Well, I'm going, it's tough.
Because I thought I had to pick Dancing with the Stars because I won.
Probably be smart.
And we all watch that.
Or American Idol because they pay me and I'm on there and it's a good show.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Or I decided to go with Fire Fest and take me out of it.
Oh, that's a good one.
And there was two different versions.
I'm going to Firefest documentary.
Good one.
I'm glad about that.
But that's my answer, Firefest documentary.
Best Reality or Docu TV series Lunchbox.
It's easy.
Bachelor in Paradise.
If you got good TV and entertainment, Bachelor in Paradise is where you go.
You had that bounce?
No. I've never seen the episode of it, but everybody loves it to watch it.
It gets great ratings too. Eddie?
I'm going to double up with Amy. I'm going Confessions of a Killer, Ted Bundy Taves.
Morgan number two?
When they see us.
Yeah, I didn't finish it.
Really?
Yeah, I'll watch a couple episodes.
Not because it wasn't good.
This is my problem, is that I watch these shows, and then if I just get off, I forget to go back and then I start something else and I'm like, well, it's like books.
I have a problem with buying books right now.
Did you finish that president book?
I got like six books going at the same time right now.
You ever see back in the day when they used those plate spinners
and those people would set up all the plates and spin them
them and have to run to all the plates before they would fall down?
You ever see those?
It's like basketball games?
Yes.
That's what my life feels like with books.
I got like five.
I got the Benfold's biography going.
I got the accidental president's book going,
which is going to take me 19 years read because it's so thick.
I bought the conversations with strangers.
That new book.
That's what it's called, right?
No, we don't know.
You guys are the same guy that wrote Outliers?
So I got that...
Yeah, Malcolm Gladwell, I got that going.
I had so many books going.
And I'm not finishing any of them.
You'll get there.
Or why just buy another book?
Probably just buy another book.
I'm glad this segment reminded me of killing Eve.
Yeah, what she did here?
I can go back to it.
It's one of those things where you start it.
And then when you move on, you forget.
Yeah, I got you.

This guy's Bachelor party, he goes, they're in Colorado, and he's got like a hangover, you know, been going a little too hard
the bachelor party. And so they go to a private ER and it cost him $12,460. Oh my gosh.
Yeah, because private ER apparently is different. He was dehydrated. They gave him an IV drip,
a little anti-nazia medication, took his blood, they ran tests, they discharged him 45 minutes later,
and then he got a bill from the emergency room for $12,000. That's crazy.
Eish. You ever get one of those mystery bills? We were like, can I believe this cost this much?
Not that I can think of at the moment. My cell phone bill used to always be like that.
Now at least they text me those warnings that are like you've just over,
and it's always data at this point.
I'm always over my data.
Maybe I should get Wi-Fi at the house instead of just launched on my phone.
Yes.
No, I have Wi-Fi because I'm just kidding.
Oh.
But when I go anywhere.
I'm like, well, there's your problem.
I don't trust that.
Do you see the six-year-old that was arrested for throwing a tantrum?
No.
As a mom now.
Mm-hmm.
How do you feel about that?
Did you say six-year-olds?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Got arrested?
Florida grandmother got the call from a school.
that she couldn't believe her six-year-old granddaughter
through a tantrum and had been arrested.
Handcuffed.
What?
Transport it to juvenile facility.
No. Six?
Mug shot.
No, you're joking.
She says she can't process what happened to her granddaughter.
No.
They're still investigating the arresting officer, David Turner.
She said she was acting out in class,
which was a side effect of lack of sleep from medical condition.
So she was sent to the office.
While she was there, a staff member grabbed her wrist in order to calm her down
when she lashed out and kicked them.
Mm-hmm.
And so then they arrested her.
Your thoughts?
Not, again, I wasn't there, but just based on this.
What would you do if the six-year-old was going crazy?
Six years old?
Okay, I wouldn't handcuff them.
Get it together.
You can, you don't need it.
I mean, I'm really asking.
I don't know.
Eddie, you have a boy that's been six.
Yeah, two of them.
What would you do?
I just kind of hold them and restrain them until they can settle down or throw them in their room and close the door and lock it.
With handcuffs?
No.
No.
You don't need handcuffs.
You're stronger than them.
Like hug them and be like, you want.
are loved. Oh, you do that approach. Is that work? I don't know. Something. I mean, that's interesting.
It's time for the good news with Amy. Tell me something good. So there's this 16-year-old
Ashley and she got on an airplane for the first time in her life. Not only is she just a teenager,
but she's deaf. And the flight attendant knew that she may be a little uncomfortable. And
when you're deaf, you may be, unless the flight attendants are giving all the, you know, rules in sign
language, she didn't really know what was going on. So the Delta flight attendant went above and
beyond. Her name is Jana. And she did a handwritten note welcoming Ashley to the flight.
Oh, good. Wrote down that there's two overhead buttons, one to control lighting, air.
Oh, wow. Wrote it all down. You can press this button to get me, the location of the emergency exits,
all the things. And so, anyway, the team sent a text to her mom was like, you'll never guess that
this flight attendant did. And of course, the mom was like relieved. Like, oh, my daughter flying for the
first time. Shout out to the flight attendant for taking care of her. So,
and the teenager said she's keeping the note in her backpack forever to remember the type of
kindness and politeness that's out in the world. It's good because she didn't have to do that.
Mm-mm. The flight attendant didn't have to do that. That's awesome. Love it. That's what it's all
about. That was tell me something good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby bones. Let know.
We're transmitting across. I'm trying to get in two listeners into our Garth Brooks show,
and they're telling me they can't get them in.
You can always get two people, two other people in.
I mean, but it's a bar, it's not the biggest venue.
Still, I know how this thing works.
You can always, it's like Jello.
Any show, it's like Jello.
Because Garth works on those dive bar tours.
Yeah.
And they're all across the country, and I was trying to get two listeners in.
Not for me.
And Hillary said, they can't fit anybody else in?
Yeah, right.
I'll call Garth.
I was about to say, just call up.
Which dive bar is this?
In Austin.
Green Hall.
Green Hall.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, we got a couple things we want to do.
Which, by the way, that would be a fun show to go to, right?
So fun.
Hey, Garthuk plays in front of like 400 people.
Amazing.
You're going to go?
No, I can't.
I was going to fly from Vegas over there, but I'm just whooped.
Yeah.
And then I got to go to New York to do John Party midweek.
That would be cool, though.
There's only so much I can take, man.
So we did go to Vegas.
Lunchmarks went out with a microphone and did street confessions.
How, how risque are these?
I don't know how you would say
They don't go into
Are they?
Well, I see the first one
Some of these we just can't do
I mean
Vegas style
It's just we're not gonna
Woman slept with
Da da da da
Yeah
Guy slept with
Is this a lot of
What?
I could talk to lunch
The people in the streets of Las Vegas
Like
Let's try
Let's try the first one. Go ahead.
Sin City Confessions.
I slept with the brother of my husband.
Shake with that again.
I sleep with my husband brother.
Before you were married?
No, when I was married.
Can we hear that one?
What? Why? Okay.
I didn't think that was that bad.
Okay.
Well, we definitely couldn't end up last hour.
She must have not ended on great terms with her husband.
No, no, she's still married.
Okay.
He was laughing.
All right, here's number two.
Sin City Confessions.
One time when we was little, I had like the cross stitch,
and my little brother was walking in front of me,
and I stabbed him in the ass with the needle.
Hard.
He told my mom that I did it on purpose.
And how did you explain to your mom?
I was crying.
I went in the full-fledged acting,
and I told her that I really fell and tripped, and I did it,
but I really did this.
It's fine, though, right?
It's fine.
Yeah, nothing.
Okay.
Let's do another one.
Number three.
Sin City Confessions.
Okay, I cheated.
Okay, tell me more.
I feel bad about it because I was being treated nicely and everything.
Then I just felt like, you know, I started feeling myself a little bit, you know.
Start feeling good.
Start feeling good.
So I'm like, hey, let me go see who else wants me.
No.
I'm a good girl now.
That's it.
Okay.
You want one more?
Sure.
All right.
Let's do one more.
Sin City Confessions.
I slapped my brother's ex, but it was needed some help.
So I helped there at the time.
When they were still together or after they broke up?
Does your brother know?
Not yet.
Hey, but don't worry about it.
Hey, you're cleansed. You're relieved.
Don't beat yourself up over it.
All right.
I don't know.
What are you to say?
Nothing.
All right.
There you go.
Sin City Confessions.
Wow.
Go.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Lauren Elena.
Okay, it's really early where Lauren is, but she's decided to wake up and talk to us this morning.
Lauren, good morning.
Good morning, Bobby.
What's going on with you?
Are you awake or did you wake up just for this call?
Be honest.
I woke up for this.
Come on.
Yes.
A lot of love.
A lot of love.
Price you got to pay.
Hey, how much did you practice yesterday?
Do you practice after you do your final, like, camera blocking for dancing with the stars?
I did not.
Love told me to rest.
Which last week we practiced that night as well, but we took the night off last night.
How many days?
How many hours a day are you practicing?
Too many.
I'm sitting.
I don't even know.
I know that feeling.
I really don't.
At this point, I'm not sure.
All I do is dance.
And when I'm not dancing, I'm sitting on the couch replaying it in my head over.
I've never in my life thought about counseling.
think more and ever.
I'm like, five, six, seven, eight,
one, six, four, everywhere I go.
It's like all I do is think about the dance.
Tonight, Lauren, Atlanta will be on Dancing with the Stars,
and I encourage you to vote for her tonight
because they've changed the scoring.
It's live scoring during the show.
Is that right, Lauren?
Yes, I think it closes.
They have told us this a hundred times.
Okay, I'll read it then.
If you're not sure, I can read it for you.
Okay.
Please, please, I don't want to mess it up.
The judge's week one score will carry over a beat combined with their scores from week two.
And then it's the first live viewing audience of the season.
So as soon as the show starts, you can vote whoever you like, even if they haven't danced yet.
And it closes like five minutes before the show's over.
They get the results and they kick somebody off.
Okay, got it.
So in last week, Lauren had a total of 19 as your first week score.
How did you feel about your dance last week?
We haven't talked to you on the air about it.
How did you feel?
Really, really good.
I mean, I was so nervous.
I mean, I saw you, you know how nervous I was.
But once I sat down in that chair to do the dance,
it was like that the performer in me like took over.
And then I was able to do it.
The biggest thing I was so worried about was smiling.
Because when you're so focused, it's hard to smile.
But I did.
And I got the third highest score of the night, which was very unexpected.
I was so proud.
I was really proud.
It gave me more confidence to do this week.
It made me feel like, okay, maybe I can do this
because I was, like, very nervous
that I was going to get out there
and forget all of the steps or something
because I've never danced.
And it is so intimidating to be dancing
with someone who's one of the best dancers in the world,
and you don't know what you're doing at all.
Yeah, I would compare it to, like, playing baseball
with a major league player,
and they're like, okay, you guys should go be on the same team now,
and don't let each other now.
And they handed you a bat two weeks ago,
for the first time.
You never swung a bat.
And everybody's watching.
Only 8 million people are watching.
Go.
Yeah.
Lauren Elena is on with us.
And I was there and I was sitting on the side of the stage.
And I was nervous to see Lauren dance because I hadn't seen her dance.
And I'm just going, please be just pretty good.
Because if you're pretty good, you can really gain some ground as you practice.
She was so good that I was like, oh, she can win this thing.
Like with our...
She can win because she has a big personality.
And then afterward, I went to her trailer and we talked for a little bit.
And I just gave her some little tips about the show.
But she can win.
And I hope everybody listening right now, you watch Dancing with the Stars tonight.
You vote for Lauren as soon as the show starts.
And, you know, away she goes.
Do you have any friends on that show yet?
Yes.
I'm friends with everyone, but my best friends on the show are Sailor and Allie.
That little Allie is the sweetest person I think I've ever met.
Allie is from five directions of summer?
No.
Oh my goodness. Fifth Harmony.
Fifth Harmony.
Okay, so she's from Fifth Harmony.
And then Sailor is Christy Brinkley's daughter who had to jump into the show because Christy Brinkler broke her arm.
Oh, okay, cool.
Yeah.
Yes, and she's so sweet.
I mean, everyone's sweet, but those two girls are like, they're the best.
Well, tonight, Lauren Alana is on Dancing with the Stars.
And I hope everybody listening puts a little bit of that B-Team and put some of the power behind it and votes for Lauren and keeps her in.
Yes, B-Team. I need you.
She needs, I don't know that she needs us.
yet because she's doing pretty good. I'll be honest with you.
But, you know, we can start uniformly getting
in there and mixing it up with her.
Amy, do you want to ask, Lauren? Yeah, no.
I'm just excited to you. I've, Lauren, I've never
voted on Dancing with Stars or any show until Bobby.
And then now this year I'm going to be voting for you too.
And I can't wait until you get to show more of your moves because we have a mutual
friend and they were telling me how you like really
get down, get down.
Wait, what, huh? What does it mean get down and get down?
Does that mean get down and get down?
I mean, I don't know I get down.
He can like really get down.
Yeah. So I can't wait until she gets to,
on more sides of herself because I'm excited.
I'll be voting.
I hope my dad forgets to watch.
What can they get down?
Get down are we talking about?
Their dad can't watch.
She can get down.
I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
It's just so out of character for me because I'm like,
the goofy, like, you know,
I'm just always cracking jokes from this show.
It's so,
dancing is serious.
Are you?
Our dance is very, very serious.
Are you dancing?
Are you dressing sexy tonight or what?
I think that you'll always
We're all just going to take a moment to pray about that
All right
They made me like take my shirt off
And they were like just wear this jacket
With no shirt underneath it
I'm like what are you talking about
Sexie's not my thing
And like trust us on this one
Do you get a spray tan yesterday Lauren?
I did not
Are you going to?
You're going to get body paint?
I get body paint sometimes
They paint my abs and I'd be like
They like a super accentuate my absinuate my abs
Wats sweat off?
Well it's only one dance
Oh okay
You get it done before
and then you do it again right before you go in.
That's what I worry about.
I mean, I get a spray tan, and I feel like for a day or two,
it just has this certain smell, especially if you sweat.
So, like, if you're a dancer like that and you get spray dans all the time,
do you just smell and it doesn't matter?
All palm all the time.
Palm, what?
Like palm, like, palm trees.
The body makeup here is unlike anything I've ever seen.
Yeah.
They are like, there's an entire department dedicated to the way that your skin looks.
Wow.
I would go into the secret trailer and they would, like, rub all the stuff on me.
Well, listen, Lauren Elena tonight, Dancing with the Stars, I'm going to play Getting Good.
Lauren, tell me about this song.
We haven't played it yet on the show.
You are?
Yay.
So it's my new single.
It's one of my favorite songs I've ever recorded.
It's all about being present in your life and being thankful for where you are.
I think we're all so worried about what's coming up that we forget to enjoy, like, what's happening now.
and to count our blessings.
And it's such a good reminder.
I have, this last, like, three weeks of my life have been crazy.
And I have been listening to the song, my own song,
because it's about, like, just being thankful and, like, being present.
And it reminds me when I texted you, I was like, I want to win, I want to win.
And you said to me one week out of time, champ.
And I thought, I bet he hasn't.
even heard that song and that is very in line with like what I'm trying to tell the world.
So I think we all need to be reminded to be like our lives are good, you know, and the world
is crazy and there's always something happening, but we have to count our blessings.
That's what I've been trying to do lately.
One week at a time, champ.
That's it.
One week at a time.
All right, Lauren, we'll see it tonight on TV.
Oh, by the way, can you say what song you're dancing to yet or no?
I don't want to say a song, but Gleb and I did like an Instagram live and he's, and he's,
decided to tell everyone the style, so I'll tell you the style.
What's the style?
I say it, I cannot say it right, and they have made fun of me all week, but Pasadoglio.
Oh, okay.
It's very, posadol is very serious.
Do you do that one?
Bull and like burr.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I got that.
I do, I live that one.
It's very, very serious.
Why do I do that one?
Over to Jen and Arizona calling the show.
Hey, Jen, what's happening?
Welcome to the Bobby Bone Show.
Hi, good morning.
How is everybody?
We're pretty good.
What's going on with you?
I just found my way to work
I appreciate you calling what's going on
I just had a question
I'm wondering do you have a maid
because how do you change your sheets and do all that laundry
I have someone clean my house once a week
no once a month
comes my house with my dog
once a month unless we do something at the house
I don't have them come after that
but I live alone
so there's not a lot of mess to be made
and I only had the maid
it's not even a maid
made feels such a weird word
the house cleaning service
comes once a month, basically to clean up the dog stuff that I don't clean.
Anything like hair underneath the dishwasher, I ain't never going to clean that.
I ain't kind of dust.
I live alone.
I'm a dude.
So, no, I just switch out my bed stuff and I just put it in, put it in the laundry room and throw it in every day.
Push it.
Okay.
I don't know.
I have gym clothes and bed clothes.
That's really all I watch.
Like the stuff I have to wear for TV and stuff, that gets sent to the dry cleaners.
So, yeah, not a lot of turnover over the house.
Just bed clothes and gym clothes.
Is bedclothes the term all people use?
No.
No.
Who says bedclothes?
Anybody else say bedclothes?
No, I've never heard that.
All right.
All right, Jen, thank you for calling.
Hey, I had a couple good interviews at I Heart Ready Music Festival.
Talked to Kane Brown for a little bit.
We have clips of this, Ramundo.
So it was backstage, and Kane Brown came out and did that song with marshmallow.
One thing, right, you.
And I was like, what's up with that song?
And so here he is talking about that.
Well, I had actually written that for my album experiment.
and it didn't make the cut.
So when Mello asked me to do a song,
I sent him some lyrics,
and he loved them,
and then came up with a genius mind for his beats.
So that was your deal and his deal,
both, like, coming from different places
and kind of combining him more than anything else.
Yeah.
So I didn't know that was his song.
It's like, yeah, I wrote it.
I mean, that's a jam.
That Kane Brown, I think it's my favorite Kane Brown song,
the Cane Brown Marshmallow song.
I didn't see it.
By the time they played,
I was like asleep in the back room.
They played late.
Your boy here doesn't last that long anymore.
Yeah.
I'm tired early.
And then I asked Kane Brown about his truck
Because when he put it on Instagram
I was like, I'm selling my truck
The lunchbox tried to call him
And buy it and he had to pull it off of Instagram
Here's Kane Brown talking about
My business manager told me to take it down
Like did you put it somewhere else
And didn't tell anybody?
No
Was he getting a lot of calls?
We actually got a lot of hits from it
But there's a lot of people saying
I just want to meet Kane
That was me. I was like I just want to meet Kane
That's all I was trying to do is me
But I got to do it here anyway
You mean we've met before
It's my dream
He just he prank called my buddy
I was trying to buy the truck
anything I was trying to buy it. He put his truck up on
Instagram and he was like, who wants to buy it?
And I was like, right to the people. I can respect that.
It was cool, though. How much was this truck lunchbox?
$120,000 or something like that? Something ridiculous.
It was an awesome truck, though.
Tim McGraw came by, talked to him about his outfit because he had on this shirt,
which I wish I could wear this.
And he has on this shirt and all his muscles and he's tan,
and he's got this tie on, but he's wearing a tie over to the skin.
I was like, dang, I wish I could wear that.
You got a tie on, but it's not a button all the way out.
It looks like magic mic of country music.
Got a shirt undone.
There's a new movie coming out, a new magic mic, and I'm going to do it.
Let me say something about you, Tim.
I feel like we're buds.
Like off of microphones, you and I are buds.
I'm a little envious.
You got books coming out like crazy.
I see another book.
You just hit the bestseller list.
That was pretty cool, right?
That's not enough for you, though.
You got another one coming out.
I've got three daughters, man.
That's a lot of shoes.
You'll find out one of these days.
The daughters?
Well, just getting married and having families.
Let me know.
me a girlfriend, then we'll talk about daughters.
It's not just about you anymore, man.
Alicia Keyes talking to Ryan Seacrest.
I'll play one more clip here about how she asked people not to give their opinion
because she listens to herself, not others.
I do ask people not to give their opinion unless they're asked for it, though.
No one in here, no opinions, no opinions.
But don't you think, like, wouldn't you think, like, if I said, hey, how do you like my
outfit, then it's cool if you're like, oh, you know what, I love it or I don't like it so
much.
But when people are just like, I don't like, like, oh, I didn't ask you.
you. I've edited all those people out of my life.
Good job. Good job.
I'm pretty funny, huh? And a pretty good point.
Here's Alicia performing no one on Saturday night. Here you go.
She was good. I told you Hootie was my favorite of the whole thing.
Here's Hootie and the Blowfish performing, only want to be with you.
That's a live performance, by the way.
So I never met all the Blowfish, right? And I'm a lifelong Hootie fan. And I know Dearius
as well as pretty much I don't know anybody. And so I went to talk to Dearest for a little bit.
and then all the other guys were there.
And then they didn't even have to introduce themselves.
Like, what up, Mark?
What up, Dean?
What up Sonny?
They're like, you know all our names?
I'm a diehard fan.
And so Mark is the guitar player
and he's got kind of curly hair and tall guy.
And I don't know what gets into me when I geek out.
But I went up to Mark and I was like, hey, man,
Beck when I was like 17, we took a picture together
and I still look at it on my Instagram sometimes.
Gosh.
That's all I said.
I still look at it.
I think I'm still look at it every night.
I go to bed.
all I said and he looked at me and he was like
and he handled like a champ he goes hey man
thanks for sharing that story with me
and I was like you're welcome
that's it
and nothing cool I have a hundred hoody stories
have how they affected my life and I was
just listened to it every day through high school
and college and I was like yes to have
a picture of you on Instagram from when I was 17 I look at
it sometimes that's it
he thought I was a big doofus
but I got to tell them and I always
say if you're a fan of somebody tell him you're a fan
even if you come off like a doofus I was for sure a
Yeah, but keep it real. And then I tried to find it. As I like, let me show you.
Oh no. I know. I was going to share this part of the story. But okay, while we're being truthful,
I was like, let me show you. And so I'm like scrolling and I can't find it. He's awkwardly standing
there like, hold on, hold on, no, no, I'll find him. And it wouldn't. How did you finally just
give up? Well, the internet was kind of bad under where we were, so it wouldn't like scroll.
And I'm like, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. You'll find, let me find it. And I'm like,
he's like looking through all. And I'm like, never mind. And I never got to it, never got to show
I'm. Next time.
I'll be much cooler next time. Hey, buddy. Follow our picture.
How am I still not cool sometimes around artists when I do this for a living?
Like I interview people all the time and I get interviewed all the time. That should be nothing.
That should just be where I'm cool every day.
Yeah, but it's good. Do you have moments?
I take a picture with you. Do you want to see it?
Yeah. I'm such an idiot.
Ray, we'll drop the song. We'll take that down. Okay. I appreciate everybody listening on IHartRadio and watching on the stream.
It was really a fantastic festival.
Massive.
Hootie was great.
Halsey was great.
I didn't get to see everybody because I was working a lot.
Def Leopard was great.
I saw Miley through a screen.
That looked pretty cool because she was doing.
She did two things.
She did Zeppelin.
Black Dog.
Hey, hey, mama said the way you move.
Go make it.
That song.
Don't make you, girl.
That was good.
And then she did, hello.
Is there anybody? Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd. Yeah. And then her, then Reckinball and stuff.
So it was good. People always show up. I saw, I met Chance the rapper real quick.
Didn't see him perform because I was in the back. But he was just chilling in a hoodie.
Met him.
You have any awkward conversations with them?
Hey, buddy, Chance, I have a picture of us.
I have your hat. Nothing like that.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
This guy takes a trip to see his mom, which is good.
Should always go see your mom?
Yeah.
And stops at the gas station.
buys a lottery ticket.
It wins $500,000.
A Michigan man has taken a road trip,
and he's like, I get some gas along the way.
Wouldn't have stopped here.
And I decided to go see my mom, like the good son that I am.
And then, bam, half a million dollars.
He says he almost never buys tickets.
But a 24-carat gold scratch-off ticket,
he said, quote, captured my attention.
I had scratched a ticket when I got to my car.
I saw that I matched the number.
I didn't believe it, so I took it back in to scan it.
And they went, oh, this is real.
And he's like, yeah, it's real.
So now he's going to buy a new car and take some vacations and even visit his mom more.
Oh, nice.
Love it.
Shout out to that guy.
There you go.
What's happening today, Amy?
I'm going to go hang out with the death and the kids.
Still just, I've got to do some pharmacy stuff with him today.
Like fill up his pill box.
Exciting things like that.
That's a lot of your life now, huh?
It is right now, but it's not permanent.
I keep telling myself, this is this not permanent.
We're going to get this figured out.
He's going to get the Uber app.
I'm like to have to drive him everywhere.
Oh, he hasn't used Uber yet?
Not yet.
We're not there yet.
He's still very, very new.
So, yeah, we'll get it down, though.
What about you?
I'm going to call into an interview on our new Knoxville radio station right after this,
because we're on there now in the morning,
which means I have to go over and look at their social media
and see everybody complaining about us for a while.
Oh, yeah.
Give us a minute.
Give us a minute, guys.
We'll be there.
We'll be best friends before you know it.
A few minutes.
We've been through this about a million times.
Yeah.
Usually ends up pretty good because we're good people and you're good people,
and then good people just roll together.
I feel good about it.
But, yeah, I'm going to do that.
I have my first American Idol pre-production call today
because we start next week in Savannah, Georgia,
our first audition city.
So me, Luke, Katie Lionel,
and that's it.
Me and Three Judge.
I don't know if Ryan's going to the first one.
But yeah, we're going down.
I have a Musician's on-Call meeting tonight.
It's a big calm on that board of that charity.
They have dinner with a friend, like a friend, but work.
It's about work.
So it got a pretty packed day.
I just need some sleep.
The Vegas thing hurt.
Yeah, you better squeeze that in there.
I don't see.
It's not able to be squeezed.
I don't walk up like 3 o'clock this morning.
Eyes wide open.
Which is weird because that would be 1 a.m.
Where you were.
I know.
I don't know if I was really on it.
I was in Australia for a month.
I was in Vegas for two days.
I don't know if it's probably all in my head, but I get that way.
If I'm over there for one day, I come back, I'm like, I'm so messed up.
It's like daylight savings time.
It just wrecked my life.
Like, it's an hour.
You'll be okay.
I know, I know.
Thank you for listening.

You'll see.
Mickey pretzel on the way.
