The Bobby Bones post show
pre-show. Are we going?
We're on. We're up?
It's time for the post show.
We just finished today's show. We've had a little time in
in between. We had
Anne's Lee from Channel 7 up here. We had some
other stuff. So if you're
watching on Facebook right now, we're in about an hour late.
We're still here working. We're still here.
It is Tuesday, so we gotta get
a Tuesday song on. Ramondo, if you hit me with that beat.
Let's start with the chorus. Here we go.
Tuesday.
H-O-A. Tuesday.
Housewife's going
Booz-Dooz-day. I'm just
talking about Tuesday.
The best day of the week,
you all know what's my time. So I made a song
about Tuesday so happens it rhymes.
It's number of crimes.
It's super bingo at nine.
Don't know how you do your Tuesday.
This is how I do mine.
The sun comes up.
There's a smile in my mouth.
Why?
Because I love Tuesday is the first thing I shout.
Free Zumba this morning and every Tuesday of five.
I got my spandex on.
It's time to head to the Y.
Let's go.
Tuesday.
H-O-A.
Tuesday.
Housewife's going booze.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
Puck-a-fucking.
Tuesday.
Brown cow goes moose day.
Eat some cash Tuesday
I'm just talking about Tuesday
I go to Mardi Gras
On a Tuesday
I go to Croma guy
On a Tuesday
I'm playing Pokemon
On a Tuesday
Came out of my mom
On a Tuesday
I said Tuesday
H-O-A Tuesday
Housewives going boozee
I'm just talking about
Tuesday
Jokey fucking Tuesday
Brown cow goes
Smooth's day
Eat some cashew's day
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Mother
Yeah
The story is
Forget the man cave
Now it's all about
The we sheds
There's man caves and she sheds
But now we're doing
We sheds
Oh yeah there's a commercial about she sheds
The she shed is for the ladies
The man cave is for the man
But now it's the we shed
There are two separate
sheds connected by a single deck
so couples can have a lone time
but still be connected. This is
perfect for couples who appreciate a little alone
time from each other but who don't want to be too far apart.
Now this feels very similar
to my relationship right now. Here's where
my girlfriend gets annoyed with me.
We have every day
we have a couple hours of alone time. We make
sure that it's in there. When you're together.
Bobby schedules it. Fire needs
air is what I say.
Okay. And if you just always at everybody's
side, you guys know. Finally, you just
just, you're tired of stuff.
If you have too much cheesecake and you love cheesecake, you go, well, too much cheesecake.
That's right.
And I, I love being around my girlfriend.
She's so funny.
But there are times where it's time for both of us.
She needs to go work.
I need to go get on my bike or be alone.
But we have a lone time.
But you can have a lone time now in a wee shit.
You know what's annoying about to me?
I mean, annoying about me is that we'll talk about alone time.
And I go, oh, I love a long time.
She'll be like, stop acting like it's the greatest thing ever.
She's like, just act like you kind of like it.
Don't be like, I just can't wait for a long time.
Because I do play it up a little bit.
I'll be like, what should we do around one?
She'll probably get a long time.
Oh, yeah, I love it.
I'm so annoying.
But I do.
Why do you roll your eyes?
Because, I don't know.
I don't know that I think she likes alone time too, but probably not.
No, not as much as you.
And I feel like you make sure that it's on the schedule
because you're very schedule-oriented.
I'm very scheduled, yes.
And so I think she's flying
halfway across the country to see you.
She wants alone time too,
and we're together for four and five days at a time.
Who knows who wants each thing, each quantity?
We could ask her.
Yeah, you all should talk about that.
She wants a lone time.
Nobody wants, we're together for four or five days at a time.
But then you're also not together for four or five days at a time.
And that's okay. That's when your fire is getting air.
Right?
Yeah, man, your fire has air.
Right now, it's getting near.
I so enjoy being with her.
But also, you don't need to be with anybody all the time.
You guys know I'm right.
Amy, take on.
Take him on.
She might like a long time more than me.
Well, I'm not saying you're not right.
I just think that you present it as like this is.
Well, my point is I'm annoying to her on purpose.
Oh, okay.
Because it's like, hey, we'll do a loan to you.
And I'm like, oh, long time.
I act like it's sexy
I'm like oh you just cannot wait for that a long time
Oh my gosh
But it's a it's a wee shed
One deck and the two little sheds are connected to it
So you can like get this at Home Depot or what
Well you can make it
You can do little sheds and you build a deck
It connects it
Mostly alone time I go into my room
And she's in the living room
So there you go
The end
Well I don't have a man cave so it doesn't matter to me
How do you know when alone time's up
Is that a timer?
Or do you come out of your room and you're like, okay.
Because you definitely time it, right, bones?
You can hang out again.
You have a timer going, right?
I'm back.
I have things that I want to get done.
So I need to make sure.
Sometimes I'll just go ride the Peloton.
I need to go exercise.
But, you know, she went and had lunch with Morgan number one for like three hours last week.
And so it's like, hey, go do your deal.
I'll see you.
You guys can hate out of me.
We're not hating.
I think you're feeling self-conscious about it.
Okay, okay, okay.
No, not at all.
Oh, never.
Do you know what's funny, though?
I look at the data from our podcasts,
and I try not to talk about relationship or girlfriend that much,
maybe wants a show at a five hours.
Sometimes it's a story.
Our most listen to podcasts are when that's in the header.
Because it's still kind of new,
so people are just clicking on the podcast to see what's developed.
Well, you should talk about it all the time.
I don't want to, though.
How are the web hits on stuff like that?
Do we put stuff like that on the web or no?
Yeah, I mean, everything that performs really well for us on social media
is anything show related.
Like, if I post news, people kind of care.
You post nudes on the website.
New N-E.
Whoa.
No, news stories, people kind of care.
But as soon as I post any show-related topic,
it's like...
Yes, people love that stuff.
Just any story like that.
And they do love your girlfriend's stories a lot.
Well, I'm trying to beat it to death.
Same thing with the drafts.
That's why we stopped doing drafts for a while.
I just feel like we were beating it to death.
but I do love a draft and that gets so many hits doesn't it
yeah that helps us a lot the drafts and she
when she means helps us she has to get web numbers yeah
and so the drafts my favorite segment that we do now is a draft
because it's fun and competitive and we draft our teams of whatever the topic is
but that's a good one for web huh yeah that's why it's my favorite
half of it's probably lunchbox is clicking to vote over and over again it's all him
he's not here but Eddie is one that was like he just said over there and voted a hundred
times.
Yes.
Like, how do you even do that?
Because I tried it the other day, too.
Just because I saw him do it, I tried it.
And I'm like, it didn't let me vote over and over.
So I don't know how he does it.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are going to get married.
And J-Lo's ex-husband, Mark Anthony, will be invited.
Oh.
They have kids together?
Yes.
Okay.
Emma and.
And also, don't they hang out a little bit?
All of them?
Weird.
Yeah, I mean, they have kids together, so.
I don't think it's weird, but the story made it seem like should it be weird.
I don't think it's weird.
I think as adults, relationships change, and you do have kids, and the kids are very important.
I think.
And it's also like the dad going, cosign to my kids.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah, but I just don't think a lot of people do that.
Well, maybe it could be, people could look at it as an example.
I guess it just depends on how toxic the breakup was.
It just depends.
Every relationship's different.
And they're Latinos like me, so we're very jealous.
It's very rare in our culture.
Yeah.
Are you blanket statementing something?
Eddie.
We Latinos are jealous.
Me, my brother, my dad,
we're all very jealous.
Martha Stewart.
We represent all Latinos.
Martha Stewart's go-to cheat food
as single slices of American cheese.
Do you have a cheat food?
Cheap food or cheat?
Cheat.
Like a one that you just kind of run to
that's easy?
I mean, I know.
I'm working on a lot of stuff
with my relationship with food,
so I try not to see anything as like good
or bad or cheating anymore, which is a new thing
for me. So I don't know. I'm kind of just
allowing whatever.
But I do like, like, Reese's
cups. Like, that's obviously something
I know. I mean, I have outer, like, wisdom
that tells me that's not going to be healthiest for my
body. So, yeah,
I dabble. I'm going to rock Pop-Tart with
butter this weekend. Oh, you are?
I told her I would try it.
How, yeah. Do you know which flavor of Pop-Tart?
No, but I'm hoping strawberry. I like
I like red. And it has
icing. Like red. My favorite flavors are just
red. What color? This cherry, strawberry,
anything red. You can just give me red. Like, what's your favorite flavor?
Red? I like red everything. Red is typically a good taste.
Red, yeah, name a red flavor that's bad. I can't.
Rubber tussin. Well, but that... Purple.
No. No, they make red. It depends if you get cherry or great, but
coughs are supposed to taste bad. Otherwise, we would drink it all the time.
Oh, is that why they do it? That's what I tell myself.
They don't want to get lit. I'm like, this tastes horrible because otherwise I'd be throwing
back shots.
And you can, and people do that.
Yeah, and that's bad.
Don't do that.
I'm trying to have a better relationship with coffee medicine, though,
so I don't think it was good or bad.
Don't make fun of me.
I'm not.
Yes, you are.
I just rock it.
Are you making fun of me?
No.
That's okay.
I'm proud of myself.
I'm making steps.
Billionaire Warren Buffett finally gave Buffett's flip phone.
Oh, he had a flip phone.
He just used it to make calls.
That's it.
Brad Elders does that a lot, too.
He's back on the iPhone right now.
Didn't Dirk's Bentley do that too?
Dirk's did that for a bit, too.
But Dirk would cheat.
He would have two lines.
A billionaire Warren Buffett finally gave up his flip phone.
One of the richest men in the world.
But he's been rocking the flip phone, and now he's giving it up.
iPhone 11.
It's just, it's not even about if you want to have the toxic internet.
It's about you can be efficient and get stuff done.
You know, there was a story about New Year's resolutions,
and if you've kept it until this point, like a few more days, it's a habit,
because you've been doing it so long.
Why would you have?
I didn't make a New Year's resolution,
but I made a word of the year,
and I'm sticking to it.
Okay, the word of the year does not count as a resolution.
Fine.
That included...
Did she do water or something?
Yes.
And I wanted to have...
She's had water every day since New Year's.
Good for you.
Stop!
100 ounces of water, and that's a lot.
And I've stuck to it,
and I have to pee right now.
If you made a New Year's resolution,
you're almost there to making it a habit.
I made a literal New Year's resolution
to be on my phone more.
Yes, you did.
And a lot of people thought I was kidding, but I don't, I'm not addicted to my phone in the way of I need to be checking stuff.
But I get a lot done on my phone and I connect with people that I would never get to connect with if it wasn't my phone.
So when I say be on your phone, be in my phone more.
What I meant was actually extend contact and create relationships based on the small screen we have in our hands, which is quite amazing.
We've ruined it in a way by doing a lot of stupid things with it and focusing on.
a lot of stupid things for a long time.
But the essence of being able to communicate with someone who is thousands of miles away
with something that can fit in your hand, amazing.
Yep.
My entire relationship is on FaceTime half the week.
And you still want, what do you call it?
Do we always have to go back to a long time?
A long time.
It just needs a lone time.
But whatever.
You have a health.
I think that you understand your relationship with your phone and you have a healthy relationship.
shit with your phone for some people,
they can't have the same
goal as more screen time.
I love my phone.
Not in the way of
I need to be on it, all the time texting or seeing
Or you want to marry it? Oh, I go on.
I'm going to make out with that. I love so much.
I'm on my phone a lot more
than she is, though. She's really not a phone person.
Does that bother her?
Maybe sometimes. Because I'm like, I got
nine emails from work. I need to check. I need to
see what's happening here.
It doesn't bother her. It just two different kinds
of people.
She's very much, let me put the phone down
and experience what's happening in front of me.
I'm like, well, if what's in front of me is cool,
I'll put the phone down.
But let's just see, let's weigh the options
on which one I like more.
So, we're going to go.
Amy's got to pee.
I do.
Because her word of the year's water,
she made a habit about this.
She said it every day this year.
No, I, no.
You do 100 ounces of days?
Yes, I have done 100 ounces a day
since the new year, and I'm very proud of myself.
But I thought it wasn't.
literal water like you wanted to...
Nurse Bobo would be
proud. No, I said it's...
Flow like water. Yeah. Yeah. No, water was
the overall theme and I thought of it while I was skiing
which is basically, it's ice, which is water.
And I was weaving down
the mountain and I was being flowy. So I
wanted to be more go with the flow because sometimes
I can be rigid and I wanted
to drink more water. And then also water
can leave an impression when it goes through places
and I want to be more intentional and leave an impression
on people that I spend time with.
That's my three-part
water word.

Oh, Bobby.
Hey, what's happening?
Welcome to Tuesday's show.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Let's see what's happening with everyone as we do our segment, What's the Haps?
Hey!
Hey, what's the Hats!
You know what we didn't talk about yesterday was I played racquetball with your husband over the weekend?
Yeah.
It's only the second time that we played.
How was it?
He even last time, after the last time you played, which was months ago, he bought new shoes just for racquetball.
Yeah, they were great.
I compliment them immediately.
They were white Jordans to play racquetball in.
I was like, great shoes.
lose. Yeah.
Yeah, so we're really putting those to use.
Hey, Hater.
No, it's good. I'm glad y'all went because I think he got excited after y'all played.
Like, it's fun.
And so he thought, okay, now I'm going to try to play racquetball more.
And he just never got around to going.
So I'm glad you talked to him about it.
Did he not come back with Ray reviews of our time together?
No, he did.
He had a great time.
He thought it was like, he said it was awesome.
He said we'd play around or whatever.
And he's like, and then we'd have a break and talk for a while.
And then we'd play and then we talked.
So he enjoyed it a lot.
Well, we got there, and we always played best out of three.
And last time, I whipped him pretty good real quick.
But this time, he beat me the first game.
Oh, wow.
He had been watching YouTube and doing some crazy serving stuff.
Did you know he was really watching YouTube?
Yeah, because I asked him.
I was like, there's no way.
He goes, yeah.
I said, you've taken lessons?
He goes, I'm watching YouTube.
I said, oh, great.
Like, seriously, Saturday morning before he left to go meet you, he pulled up YouTube and was watching tutorials.
And it worked for a minute.
That's funny.
I then popped him pretty good the next two rounds.
Showed him.
But he definitely, he definitely.
And I was a pretty good racquetball player.
I guess I only ever played in college.
But I never was able to just take to a sport.
Because I'm okay athletic, but I would always just work hard.
I was a good baseball player because I worked hard.
It's an okay football player because I worked hard.
Rackabball kind of took to it okay.
So anyway, we had a good time.
We played for like two hours.
We talked for probably 45 minutes of that.
It's nice.
But I just wonder what kind of reviews I get when he comes home.
Solid.
Yeah, he had a great time.
He's ready.
I mean, he really, really enjoyed it.
I think that's basically what you say.
So I really enjoyed it, which I think is awesome.
Does he have a lot of dude friends he hangs out with?
Not here.
Most of his friends are in North Carolina.
So, and he goes back there a couple times a month.
So he gets to hang out with them.
But in Nashville, no.
So, yeah, that was awesome.
There's a basketball court because we play at the Y.
There's a basketball court right next to it.
I was going to go hop in a couple pickup games after.
What I'm talking about.
I can't.
I'm just so afraid I'm going to just hurt something.
come to, and basketball, I'm so sore from this racquetball still.
The sides of my butt cheeks hurt.
It's like, well, it's like I'm having to cut a lot.
Yeah.
So, but I was like, I should go play.
And then I just don't want to, like, land on someone's foot and tear something.
Because I got a couple TV projects coming up where I have to be active.
And so I need you to keep me out of the pickup basketball.
Okay.
I can go play one-on-one.
My girlfriend's a really good basketball player.
We can go play one-on-one.
But I can't go get in these games.
Because I get invited a lot now.
and I would like to go play.
Let's go show my prowess.
Right, right, right.
Can't hurt the money maker, though.
I know, you can't hurt the money maker,
which is frustrating.
But if I'm talking about it,
keep me out of playing basketball.
Okay, I will.
All right, let's go over to Amy.
Hey, what's the hat?
So my kids saw the new Lion King
in the movie theater and, like, loved it.
And I had seen bits and pieces of it
when we got it at home before,
but we all sat down as a family
and rented it again.
And it's so good.
I watched it start to finish.
And the new one,
where the animals look so real?
I couldn't.
But here's the rookie mistake we made.
We rented it in SD
because it's a dollar cheaper than HD.
And this is the first movie
where you can really tell the difference
if you don't pay that extra dollar.
There were times where all the animals
would be running like during the stampede
at some point.
And I was like, what?
You got will of death?
It was all, no, it was just real blurry.
Like for some of the movie,
it just looked so real.
And then other parts, it looked bad.
And I know it's because we didn't spring for the HD.
And it's $1.
So that's my recommendation.
Who was the one that said, you know what, let's not pay the dollar.
Me. My husband was buying HD for $3.99 or renting.
And I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, go to more options because then you can click on SD and it's only $2.99.
So he did it real quick.
And then, of course, whenever it started to get bad, he's like, oh, you want that dollar back now?
It's buffering.
All movie long, it's slow because it's buffering.
You like to say, what would you give it, rating wise?
Five Simba's out of five.
Wow, really?
Have you seen it?
Akuna matata
No, that's not the one we were doing
I know.
You should watch it though, this is good.
Have you not seen it?
I've not seen the first one.
Well, then don't even bother with the first one.
Yeah, just go straight to this one.
It's so much better.
You're like, oh, and it makes you think
that you can have a lion as a pet.
What?
I didn't think that one.
Okay, stop that.
Hey, what's the hat?
Eddie.
I'm kind of excited about this, guys.
Burger King is rolling out a new sandwich.
No beef, but just French fries.
What?
See this?
Two buns.
French fries in the middle.
Huh.
Hey, how about that for a veggie burger?
It doesn't count, though.
It doesn't?
That's like, is that their joke for people that are like one of veggie burger?
And they're like, because where did we go that one time in and out?
And y'all all got burgers.
We were in Vegas or something.
And it was back when I was vegetarian.
And I was like, I'm going to eat a veggie burger, please.
And they basically gave me two pieces of bread with tomato and cheese.
It's kind of like that.
But I love burkey fries.
It's the BK French fries sandwich and it's with ketchup and cheese.
And it does look good.
I'm telling you.
It looks good. It's almost like when you have that fried dish
when it's like a chute cheese topped all over it with ketchup
or whatever else you want. Oh, like nacho fries?
Yeah.
Which, by the way, they should make bigger platters for those
and not stack them tall.
Oh, wow.
Good call.
Machos are messed up.
Because here's what happens with stacks of fries or nachos.
Because they're stacked tall, you really only cover the tall part with the cheese.
The topping.
Or the cake.
And then you have a bunch in the middle.
Correct.
Just chips dry.
Mid-earth.
It's true.
It's like, it's all drying.
You would think they'd figure that out by now, but they don't.
No, they either need to lay them all flat and make it a really long thing, or they need to layer there.
Like, do a layer cheese and chips.
Layer cheese and chips.
Maybe layering the topping.
Well, as far as this fry burger goes, it's not here yet.
It's in New Zealand, which is weird, too.
I wonder how they pick, like, their.
I wonder how they pick their, like, all right, let's go New Zealand first.
Well, yesterday we talked about the KFC chicken and donut sandwich.
Yeah.
That sounds amazing.
The chicken. I love Kentucky by chicken and I love donuts.
You got to love when these restaurants are trying to change it up a little bit.
See what works.
I just hope it gets to America.
Not that I'll even try it.
I'm always like, you'll try it.
This is amazing I never try it.
Hey, what's the hat?
All right, that's what's happening with us this morning.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
All right, so what happened?
So we're all sitting in the house in like our living room kitchen area.
Everyone can hear the front door.
So we're all right there and we get a knock at the door.
and Stasheera just yells out, come on in, it's open.
Always, like, it's always open.
And she was real loud about it.
And I thought, Sashira, first of all, we have no idea.
And I looked, and yes, the door was unlocked.
So she's not wrong on that.
But, like, I don't want people to know that.
And I was like, where in the world did you pick that up?
And I guess she saw it on a TV show.
I maybe he's like Hannah Montana or something's been into that lately.
But I guess someone knocked on the door and they yelled,
come on in.
It's always open.
Like, real welcoming and friendly.
Who was it, though?
It was a delivery person, and luckily they didn't come on in, but I went over the door,
and it was a stranger that we did not know, and I didn't want anybody to ever get the impression
that they can just come on in at any all time.
Like, because it could have been, like, actually, they weren't even delivering.
It was like a door-to-door like sales.
Like, it was a selling something.
And that's like, that just made me nervous about whoever was at the door that they hear
my daughter yell that it's always open.
So what did you say to her?
just told her no we go to the door actually i don't even want you to go to the door like you can
like peek out a window where they can't see you but you always let us go to the door and if you're
ever here home alone you don't need to answer the door but then i got nervous of like sometimes
burglars knock or ring the doorbell to see if anybody's home and if nobody answers then they
break in so i thought uh what do i do i have her show that she's home i don't know it's it's hard
being a parent and trying to figure it all out but i do know that we don't yell at
at strangers to come on in.
Eddie,
do all your kids open the door?
I was thinking about that.
And like my,
it's great that her daughter like has the,
even the energy to say like,
oh,
come on in.
My kids don't move.
The doorbell rings.
And it's like,
is anyone going to get the door?
I'll get it.
So, no,
I have the opposite problem.
And like,
normally if somebody's coming over,
we know they're coming over.
So it's always awkward too,
even as an adult.
Like, God,
I don't want to go pee
because then they'll see me
and then I have to talk to them.
Even when we were kids,
people used to just come over.
Yeah.
Never.
If somebody just showed up at my house,
and we're like, what up?
We have cell phones.
You could have text me.
You could have tweeted me.
You could have done many things
to let me know you were on the way over here.
This is not the way we do this anymore.
Okay, but which do you prefer?
Do you prefer the, like,
being able to just pop up at people's houses
and it's fun like that or like this?
No.
Because I kind of missed that from my childhood.
Let me guess.
You missed the milkman.
We would ever happen to.
I used to borrow eggs and sugar from my
neighbors. Yeah, but you like to Uber your dad places. You like to be able to be on the internet.
Right. I love Amazon Prime now. Like I can just get the eggs in an hour. But I'm just saying
that is creating more of a disconnect. There's a thing in my house where there's a cross street
like across my yard. So at night when people drive up that street, the lights come right in my
window. So I think the people are always in my yard. And my dog now that he's super like protective
of the house, every time somebody comes up that road,
Just going crazy.
I guess I should put shit.
Maybe.
Shades up or something in the front.
Blocker thing.
Let me ask you this question.
Whatever happened to predictability?
The milkman, the paper boy, evening TV.
Whatever happened to predictability.
The milkman, the paper boy, evening TV.
How did I get to live in here?
Somebody tell me please.
Come on.
Do you remember that?
Yeah.
Is that full house or family matters?
That's full house.
Okay, good.
Yeah, yeah.
The milkman's always full house, although they're the same singer.
Bobby Bones Show.
Big Three Stories.
Let's go over to our producer, Ramundo.
Ramundo, what you got over there?
In health news, President Donald Trump says the U.S. coronavirus outbreak is under control.
There's no reason for panic.
The number of cases in the U.S. is at 53.
In L.A., thousands of mourners flocked to the Staples Center to say goodbye to Kobe and Gianna.
The arena sold out for the memorial, which featured emotional tributes
from wife Vanessa, Michael Jordan, and Shaq.
And finally, tonight is the Democratic National Debate in South Carolina.
It's the last one before voters in 16 states go to the polls on Super Tuesday next week.
The Bobby Bones Show.
Well, this is a very personal on this day in country music.
Hit it for me, Raymond.
The Bobby Bones Show.
On this day in country music.
What do you think happened on this day in 2013?
Seven years ago.
Oh, I know.
February 25th, what?
I hadn't thought about it at all until you just said this,
but that was when we moved to Nashville.
Was that our first day on air?
I don't know.
Something like that.
The Bobby Bone Show launched nationwide on 35 country radio stations
starting on February 25th.
Seven years ago today.
We're seven years old.
Wow.
Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Gloriana,
Joe Nichols, Craig Campbell, and Janet Kramer
helped welcome Bobby Bones during a press conference
at Country Music's Hall of Fame
Fort Theater in Nashville.
Beginning February 25th,
2013, they launched.
Jansen was there too.
Was he?
Yeah.
Luriana.
The country top 30
later launched March 2nd.
So today, I always consider
March 1st to be our date
because we were still,
but today is the first day
we launched nationwide.
If you're new to the show,
this is what happened.
Well, I was born 1980.
Here we go.
A small town in Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
No, I had built
a syndication company
in Austin, Texas, out of my own money,
and strung together like 25 cities.
And the company comes in and goes,
hey, we want to buy half this from you.
And I was like, well, you're going to buy my syndication company.
I spent all my money making this thing.
Because you kind of didn't know I was syndicated the show,
at least not to the level that I was
and that we were, that Amy and I were together.
Eddie wasn't a part of the show yet.
Nope.
And so they said,
hey, we're going to put you in New York or Los Angeles
to go be where Ryan or Elvis Duran is, Ryan Seacrest.
And they're both still there right now,
so obviously I didn't work out.
Both those guys stayed.
I thought that thought one of them was going to leave.
And so they're like, all right, we're done with you.
What do you want to?
I'm like, I'm out.
My contract's up.
And they said, what do you want to do?
We figured it out.
And I was like, well, go to Nashville.
There had never been a national country morning show before.
And so moved to Nashville.
Country music was easiest for me,
because I was already getting in trouble
for putting country artists on our pop station.
Willie Nelson would come back.
Dirk Spentley would come by, Josh Abbott, in Texas.
Randy Rogers.
Pat Green.
So I would always hear from these hip-hop stations called,
Why are you putting country artists on?
So to me it was easy because I grew up,
listened to the country music.
I feel like although I listen to everything now,
definitely not just listening to country music now,
I felt like my people mostly listen to country music.
So I said, let's go do this and go try it out.
So we moved in seven years ago today, we started.
And I remember when I took over the show, it was a big risk because I had to give up everything that I built.
There was nothing built into it.
We launched on these stations, but they were like, I don't know, everybody hated us for years because we sounded way different than the other show.
Now, every show tries to sound like us as far as like, sound like normal humans.
The fact that I didn't wear a cowboy hat was controversial.
So much so that CBS came into a story on it, they were like, he doesn't wear a cowboy head or a belt buckle.
Find out at 7 how he's still alive.
And I was like, wait, what?
I don't even realize this is the thing.
But, you know, our whole goal is a show is to be as normal as possible.
That doesn't mean I'm not a complete weirdo, but it means I'm not on here with a big
voice trying to be like this or trying to fake like a cowboy, which a lot of country
radio people were doing and do it a little bit still.
But we came over, and the first couple years were brutal.
But here we are now.
Seven years.
Does that feel like a long time or a short time?
Just depends how I look at it.
It does feel like a lifetime ago.
It does.
I feel like it was.
It was 20 years ago.
I remember moving out here and they put me in a temporary apartment near where I live now.
We both were in it.
I mean, same building, different apartment.
And I couldn't get my dog up here, my dog dusty.
And so I had to have our friend Cruz drive it up.
I remember he had this GPS on his collar.
So if your dog got lost, you would know where it was in your yard or neighborhood.
But I got to watch him GPS all the way from Austin, all the way to Nashville in the car.
I just watched my map and see where the dog was coming up here.
It's crazy.
the whole experience.
We were just told no so many times
and you'll never make it
and people were writing stories about us
how we were
what's wrong with
in the country music music
hadn't quite turned over yet too
I think we were a part of that
and so yeah
we were what was wrong with everything
until we weren't
so is nuts
seven years ago we started this whole show here
I knew it would work
no doubt
I knew it would work
you did the whole time
Of course
but I won't get in something
if I don't believe it
I knew it
because I believe
we are like our listeners.
And that's what I thought would resonate.
Not if you wore a cowboy hat or wore cowboy boots,
but like what do you care about in life?
What do you feel like sharing?
How honest will you be?
It's like country songs.
It almost sometimes doesn't matter what the instrument you're using is.
It's where's the authenticity of the message?
I knew it would work.
Or I wouldn't have been like, Amy, pick up your life and move.
Let's go.
I wouldn't have been like Eddie, quit your job and TV and let's move.
I knew it would work.
Yeah, I would never even, I remember.
I remember thinking like, well, I trust bones for sure.
I mean, this is whatever he does is I trust it 100%.
But after that, I never even thought twice that it was not going to work.
Just because you, when we came, you were like, all right, this is what we're here to do.
Let's go.
And we never quit.
Worked hard every single day.
Which leads me to my announcement right now.
It's no longer working.
We're done.
Anyway, on this day, seven years ago, we became the show that we are here.
And we appreciate you.
you guys for letting us into your lives every morning.
I get a lot of emails and texts asking what I'm listening to right now.
Like I have any sense of what's cool, but I did pull up the last three songs that I've saved
that I stream and they're all covers of other songs, which is weird and not on purpose.
Rustin Kelly, who's Casey Musgraves' husband, by the way, did a cover of Teenage Dirtbag.
Here is Rustin Kelly's version.
Which was the jam back in the day.
Oh, yeah.
We just did this song here, Teenage Darbeye.
Morgan, do you know that song?
Yeah, I do.
I was big in alternative music when I was young.
Well, yeah, but you were just so young.
I was, but I was very in alternative music.
That's like her classic rock or something.
Nice.
Another song that I have is Hillary Duff, Never Let You Go,
which is a Third Eye Blind song from back in the day.
Here's Third Eye Blind.
And then, I'm not kidding, these are my last story song saved.
Tinell Towns did start.
Stupid boy. What's yours, Tonell Towns?
Here's this. See if you know this one.
So all three, those are covers. It's Keith Urban.
Keith, obviously.
Well, there you go. That's how uncool I am. None of that's original.
They're all covers.
Those are all covers. None of that's original.
I appreciate you guys, though, for hitting me up.
Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me say this real quick that Eddie and I are in Tampa on Sunday.
The Raging Idiots are playing Strawberry Festival.
There are tickets. Don't believe they're sold out.
I don't know what sites are sold out. They're not sold out.
So you can go to Raging Adiots.com or you can get him somewhere else.
I don't know.
Google it.
Cannot wait.
As Toby Keith once told us when we asked how he was, Google me.
So funny.
Tell me, how are you?
Google me.
So there's that.
And then, you know, we're doing this show in Boston coming up in a couple of weeks.
And it's sold out.
So we're actually going to go not the same weekend.
But because it's sold out so fast, it hasn't been announced yet.
But we're going to go back up and play near Boston again.
Okay.
We're not exactly going to do Boston, but you know, we also go near Boston?
Yeah.
Where?
North Hampton.
In that area-ish.
It's like Springfield.
Okay.
Okay.
So we're going to do it.
We'll have another show there.
North Dakota, we're going to play some shows.
We're just going to do some fairs and festivals.
We're like, why not?
Hey, when we go up there, we hit Boston Market up again?
Yeah, sure.
That'll make me happy.

Teneal Towns shared a new song as a salute to 50 years of women in agriculture in connection

Sam Hunt's song Ken Folks hit number one this week, and for him, the song is all about family.

It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. The guy in New Jersey named David
was freaking out last month because his fiance went into labor 10 weeks early. And this nurse
named Lisa McGowan helped him, helped calm him down, help them. Well, the best news is David's
fiance and their son Zane are both doing well. The baby's put on weight. He's gotten stronger every
day. But this makes the news because of a really weird coincidence. After Zane, the baby was born,
David started looking at old photos of himself as a baby because he was also a premium. It turns out
Lisa was also his nurse. Oh, wow. Way back in the day. All the coincidence. Same nurse,
both kids. Isn't that nuts? Both of them were born at St. Peter's University Hospital,
and she's been working there as a nurse for over 30 years. David found a
a photo from
1986 of her
holding him as a newborn
and his fiance
realized it was the same nurse
so they recreated the photo
with their son last week
so pretty cool story
picture is pretty cool
I saw it online
and I wanted to share that
and that's what it's all about
That was tell me something good
Bobid Bone Show
Boney up the day
Over to Eddie who's filling in for lunchbox
Security camera footage
captured a prisoner
is trying to escape from jail
She got up through the ceiling
to walk inside underneath the roof of the prison,
fell through the ceiling tiles,
landed upside down in a trash can.
Oh, yeah, you got to watch out for the ceiling tiles.
Well, you always see people escaping through the vents
and above the ceiling tank.
Yeah, but I guess what they don't show is like people falling through.
Yeah, I mean, I figure this is like a cartoon
where it's just like,
head right in a trash can, like, oh, there she is.
I wonder how she went head down, though.
Yeah, I don't know.
Maybe she was trying to crawl and just hands down.
She probably was on her hands in these.
Would you have been?
Is that what you're thinking right now?
I have fallen through a ceiling before, but I was up in the attic trying to get my old cheerleading uniform.
Stop it.
Yes.
And she stepped on the part.
You're not supposed to step on?
Yeah, like this prison.
Yes.
Like in the, yeah, it just wasn't.
And I went straight through.
But my hips luckily caught me between the plywood or whatever.
Oh, only her legs went through.
Oh, okay, good.
Because my hips stopped me.
And then I was just dangling from the ceiling.
But there was a huge hole and my mom had to get it all patched up.
I was like, sorry.
So you still charged the prisoner were trying to escape?
I think so.
I mean, it's still an effort, right?
It's just like attempted whatever.
Yeah.
Attempted escape, for sure.
Okay, Eddie, thank you.
Yeah, that's your bonehead story of the day.
Here we go.
Come on, buddy.
People love this game yesterday.
We're going to play it again.
I'll give you a theme song to a movie.
Name the movie.
Here's the example.
Rocky.
Yeah.
Had that yesterday.
Got a point if you got it right.
Let's do it again.
Our players are Amy, Eddie, Morgan.
Everybody can be in.
See how many you get out of five.
Number one, what movie is this?
Amy?
Pink Panther?
Eddie?
Pink Panther.
Morgan?
Pink Panther.
Everybody gets a point.
All right.
Everybody's in.
Name this movie theme.
I'm in?
I'm in, but...
You didn't write anything down?
Yeah, I did.
Oh, you did?
Well, look at you for being honest.
What do you have?
Superman?
No.
Shoot.
I think that's where you fell last time.
Eddie?
Indiana Jones.
Yes.
Morgan?
I had cabbage.
in America.
Yeah.
Oh, that's what I was going to switch to.
Okay.
Eddie, look at you.
Wow.
All right, number three.
Name this movie.
Be afraid.
Everywhere you turn, be looking.
What does that sound in there?
It's a puppy.
I just ate it.
I'm in.
In.
I'm in.
Amy.
Friday the 13th.
Eddie?
Halloween.
I had Freddie Kruger.
That's Friday at the 13th.
Oh.
Who's Friday at the 13th?
Jason.
Jason.
Oh, so Jason, Michael.
Is Michael from Halloween?
Michael Myers.
Okay.
Here we go.
Number four.
Come in.
Amy, can you name that movie?
No.
Yeah.
Avengers.
Eddie.
Avengers.
Morgan, you need this one.
Pirates of the Caribbean.
Yes.
Wow.
in the dark. Wow. What a guess.
She's still in it. Amy's been eliminated, but you can do the last one anyway, Amy.
Sure. Number five, name this movie.
Movie is this from Little Boys and Girls?
Oh, interesting. I'm in.
Do your voice again?
A Little Royce and Glores, What the movie is this from?
I don't even know that makes sense.
Oh, it doesn't? I don't know. Amy.
Ultra guys.
Eddie?
Nightmare.
Christmas.
Morgan, you can tie this up
if you get it here. You have a shot.
How confident you feel? I'm not very confident.
For the tie.
The shining.
What is it? What is it? Harry Potter.
Oh!
I feel so stupid.
What's wrong with you?
I feel so stupid.
With a win!
Here you!
Come on, everyone.
Eddie, nice for it.
Thank you, thank you.
Man, Morgan, I thought you had that one.
I don't even know how I did not know that.
Me either.
So they told Russell Wilson, who's a quarterback for the Seahawks,
not to listen to country music because it's too negative.
He has a mental conditioning coach who advises him to avoid listening to country music.
I've just grabbed the top seven songs.
I just want to see if the country music is negative.
Negative.
I thought the same thing, but let's just see.
And number seven right now, it's Luke Brian
What She Wants Tonight
Sounds positive
Sexy, sexy, positive, right?
Of course, always.
Number six is Jason Aldine, We Back.
Positive?
Of course, we're back.
You put that in before you go play.
If it was negative, he wouldn't be We Back.
He'd be like, we go, we never coming back, we suck, we suck.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Okay, Jake Owen homemade.
I'll always be the man that homemade
Home made me live a dirt road
Home made me crazy
Not negative though
That's like a positive feeling song
Okay, number four is Kane Brown Homestick
I can see where this one can be a little sad
It's not
It's like a love song but okay
Homestick
You'll give the coach this one? I'll give this one out of four so far
Marin Morris the Bones
It's ever going to move it when the bones are good
The rest don't matter
Not negative
100% positive
Like we may go on through tough times sometimes
But we're good
Yeah
Exactly
It's like our foundation is good
Number two right now is Jimmy Allen
Make me want to
I'm gonna put that
In the it doesn't matter
Like either one
Generic
Right
Does the coach get this one?
No I'm just gonna say
They doesn't go either way.
Okay.
The number one, Sam Hunt, Kenfolks.
I want to introduce you to my kids.
Come on.
I'm going to go just by looking at the top songs at country music right now.
Maybe if you go listen to Hank Jr. tear in my beer.
Sure, I don't think he's going to listen to that.
Willie Nelson, always on my mind.
My tear drops crying in the rain.
What's the other Hank Williams when you're cheating heart?
You're cheating heart.
Probably won't be listening to that.
Yeah.
Just listen to the new stuff, Russell Wilson.
That's all I saw that in the news.
We just ran the numbers right here.
He's wrong.
I wish I had a mental conditioning coach.
That sounds nice.
Or is it just a therapist?
Because I have a therapist I go to once a week.
I guess you can call it what you want.
Although she told me I need to come this week.
That you needed to come?
Didn't need to.
Wow.
So are you going to go?
No.
So you're like, okay?
I'm fixed.
Oh.
You're perfect.
Wait, why did you?
Why?
Is that the plan?
Like, you just start to less.
I mean, you'll probably still go.
But now I go next week, but I'm not going this week.
She's like, you're in a good place.
It's like, take a week.
You don't need to come.
Well, that's got to feel good.
See you next week.
Well, yeah, I'm going to pay for it.
But, you know, I'm not going to therapy this week.
Look at me.
I'm healed.
Man, dude.
Boom.
Nice work.
Take that.
First guy ever been healed.
But weird, too, that my therapist would be like, hey, don't worry about it.
I mean, because she's making money off of me going in.
She's like, we're good.
Either she's really tired of me.
That's what I was thinking.
Oh, is that what you were thinking of me?
She needs a break.
No, no, no, not in a rude way, but Bobby's such a challenger that I feel like a therapy session with her probably is a lot of work.
I'm a challenge everything.
Yes, like most people will be like, oh, wow, I've never thought of it that way.
And Bobby would be like, well, let me present as you like this.
And so she's probably like, you know what?
I think we're good this week.
Take a break.
We were looking at our enneagrams, just Caitlin and myself.
And she is a two, which is a helper.
And I'm an eight, which is a challenger.
And then I went to the site that tells you.
which are supposed to be together
and our two are compatible,
like the most compatible,
an eight and a two.
Maybe that's why.
You're getting the week off?
Go team.
Maybe that's why things are working.
Maybe so.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
The Starbucks drive-thrues have cameras in them.
Did you know that?
I assume everywhere I go has a camera on it.
Well, they keep, it's kind of secret,
but someone on social media showed
that they are filming you as you're in there.
So heads up, you are being watched.
Well, I would think that every drive-thru has a camera so they can see the person that's ordering and if they're actually up there.
I had no idea. I've never seen a camera. I just thought I was talking, hello, hello, like no one's watching me.
Also, I would assume everywhere I go, Big Brother's watching me at this point.
It's weird, but you're probably right.
I was listening to the daily, the podcast, and they're talking about that.
Everywhere we go, we're being watched.
Yeah.
Let's get used to it.
Don't do bad stuff.
Yeah.
Okay, well, heads up, yeah. When you're ordering through a drive-thru, don't act like you can just do whatever.
remember you want. They're watching. I find as in the past few weeks, because I was talking about this,
I got a bunch of Starbucks texts on the text line. And I was like, is my order too complicated?
Because I go up and I go, I'll take a dirty chai latte, two shots of espresso,
almond milk and one shot of raspberry, hot. And I would always be like, man, that's just a lot.
But so many people say they enjoy it when I know exactly what I want in the name of it because it's
easier for them. Oh. And so I do go in and I say it exactly. Boom. And I feel like they're right on it.
Yeah.
I used to have guilt about that, but I feel like if you know exactly what you want, say everything that you want, and they'll get it just right.
It's when you kind of don't know.
And you're like, what's a medium?
What's the pub?
How many pumps can I get?
That that's where it becomes an issue.
Okay.
I mean, I feel like I'm not as certain sometimes, but I hope I don't sound whiny like that.
How many pumps can I get?
Is that lead vegan?
What's your favorite coffee?
I just try to say more like,
can I get one fourth
steamed almond milk
and the rest hot water
stuff like that
but that's not annoying right?
I would suggest
based on all the feedback
that I have received
from people that work at Starbucks
just say what you want
instead of asking
that's what I want
just be like
I want one fourth water
the rest steamed milk
one o'clock
two o'clock
five o'clock
rock we're going to rock
around the clock
I would say just be more
just tell them what you want
not can you get it
that's my advice
based on all my
conversations. What else amy? So there's a new dating app called Meet Helium where you can review people
that you've dated or talked to on the app. And so it's like we're all about reviews. Like we like to
know how many stars a TV show gets or a movie before we watch it. Well, this is kind of that thing.
If you see somebody on an app, you can see how they've been tagged. And that's how you review.
Like they have positive tags like funny, cute, chill. And then they have less appealing tags like
cringe, rude, sleazy, ghost. That's scary. That's not good.
Because unless you end up with them
You're really not going to hit somebody with a positive
Yeah
Yeah, I'm supposed to ghost people if that's the thing
Yeah, then they're going to be labeled as a ghost
I could have only used that app once
By the way, not on any dating apps
I have a girlfriend before any of it
This is what happens now
I say things on this show
And then it gets back to her
Like with three wrinkles in it
It's not exactly how I said it
Like that broken telephone game
But somebody in Tulsa hears it
Tells their cousin who knew Caitlin from back in college
sends her a DM and the next thing I'm like, I'm like, I promise.
I didn't have to, I'd never had two weeners.
It was just, it was one the whole time.
There was never a surgery.
He's just a weird thing that I haven't had to deal with in a while.
What?
Why are you looking at me like that?
Your example, your example of that.
It's just funny to me that you, you know, it's just, in his mind, he's like,
he just goes with a weiner example.
Uh-huh.
I heard Bobby had two weeners.
No, we had two hot dogs the Fourth of July last year.
That's how these stories get twisted.
I can see how they get twisted there.
All right, what else amy?
Have you participated in the Skullbreaker Challenge on TikTok?
Sounds terrible.
Tell me what that is again.
Okay, so three people line up and they all like jump in the air,
but then whoever's in the middle, the two people like knock that person down to where they fall
and hit themselves.
Likely their head and it's supposed to be a thing and doctors are advising,
like you could really get hurt and you need to stop doing this because teens, of course,
are doing it all over the app.
I haven't seen it.
I'm on TikTok a lot.
I've never seen it.
I don't know that it's all over the app.
Oh, okay.
Maybe it's a little.
Well, they say it's viral.
Maybe it's a little bit.
There have been a couple.
I haven't seen it either because I would know my daughter was on TikTok all weekend with her new friend.
And I have to really monitor what videos they look at and what videos they do.
And now I've got them doing sign language videos and it's awesome.
Hey, Mike, because my idea and I're on TikTok all the time.
Have you seen the skull breaker challenge?
I've seen it on YouTube, but not on TikTok yet.
Yeah.
So I don't think it's that viral on TikTok.
Oh, okay.
Not super viral yet.
Maybe it's hidden.
There have been a couple of them.
Yeah.
What are your favorite TikToks?
Ooh.
I really like the ones where they're like, there's like something hidden in a room and they like have like these secret rooms.
And you have to like find it?
Yeah.
Like people showing like the secret rooms in their house.
Wait, what?
They reveal them.
Yeah.
I haven't seen those.
You haven't seen those?
Uh-uh.
Mine are probably, I like to watch couples dance.
Oh.
Yeah.
You do that too.
I know, but I like to find them the ones that we can.
can probably try and then I send them to her and I'm like think we can do this one and mostly
she sends them to me and I'm like can't do that one like because she's a good dancer I
takes me a long time you know the ones I don't like the ones where they're like I found this string
and they follow you along they're like they keep they keep pulling the string and like now it's
going out my window and it keeps going it's like it's going to the neighbor's house and then the
video quits and you're like ah I never know what happened I haven't seen that one they're doing
a lot of mintoes and coke ones though oh yes I've done that those are interesting yeah um
Have you reposted something like that?
Oh, Grandma putting Mentos on a Coke and blowing up in her face.
They always mess with grandmas on TikTok.
I love that one.
I'm on TikTok, Mr. Bobby Bones, if you guys.
I haven't posted anything in a while.
But Caitlin will be on Thursday, and we have matching shirts for one coming up.
Yeah.
We don't have a routine yet, but we definitely have the shirts.
More matching shirts?
And it's all me.
It's not her, by the way.
I'm totally into matching.
It's okay, man.
You do you.
No, Eddie, I match when you and I perform.
That's true.
Well, no, we have different colors.
No, no, but they're the same.
Like we wear a vest and ties.
So you have a thing about matching.
Yeah.
With the people you love.
Or like, sorry, you don't say love.
Or do you?
No, no.
All right, Amy, I'm done.
Okay, I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things
nobody really prepares you for,
including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plant tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

It's time for the good news.
Tell me something good.
Eddie's got tell me something good.
Eddie, you're up.
When a three-year-old boy goes missing,
wanders away from the house,
and goes into the woods,
missing for a few hours,
cops show up looking for the boy.
But thanks to Buddy the Pit Bull,
their pet.
I was hoping that's where this was going.
I was hoping the dog was going to save him.
Says, hey, cops, follow me.
Leads him straight to the child,
finds him.
He's harmless.
He's good to go and everybody's happy.
Let's talk about a three-year-old first.
How quickly can a three-year-old disappear?
Fast.
Fast because my baby's one and he's already walking and he can go pretty quick.
When your son, your two sons were three, could they disappear out from under your eyes pretty quickly?
Yeah, if the door was open, I mean, they were out the door.
Yes, no one ever kind of left the neighborhood or anything, but yes, they moved quick.
Did you ever lease your kids?
No, never.
Did you ever think about it?
No.
Like in an airport, maybe you just tie a little.
someone on to them. I've seen moms with some of those
telephone string wires attached to
kids' wrists. Like a cute little backpack
that has a leash. Not for you.
Never. And the dog found him.
Dog found him. He's great.
And the cops say that usually they're
out delivering bad news most of the time, so it's
good to get this new story out there. And
listen, it's a pit bull too, which
I believe dogs are as they
are trained to be. I don't believe there's a bad
breed. And so I don't like seeing pit bulls.
And you've seen through, you know,
each generation,
All of these dogs get vilified as different.
German Shepherds like during the 80s,
Rotweilers in the 90s.
You know, Pit Bulls have been the recent one.
Listen, pit bull ain't going to be bad unless it's trained to be bad.
So I love that.
That's who saved the kid there.
And that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two, 30-second skinny.
Teneal Towns shared a new song as a salute to 50 years of women in agriculture
in connection with National Future Farmers of America Week.
And it's called In My Blood.
Do you FFA, Amy?
No, but I was an ag major at Texas A&M.
So you feel this song, right in your heart?
Yes, I have a degree in agriculture, agricultural development.
So, yeah.
You feel it.
Some songs just speak to you.
I feel it, turn it up.
One of my favorite new artists.
What else, Morgan?
Sam Hunt's song Ken Folks hit number one this week, and for him, the song is all about family.
For me, I have, it's my hometown, it's my grandmother, all my cousins, and we have a big family
and always got together on the holiday.
So it's all my cousins.
So it's just home, really, for the most part.
And Luke Bryan's son, Tate really loves that his dad is a celebrity.
I was playing at Hershey Park.
And, you know, we get the fast passes.
Tate's just bouncing off the walls.
He finally is 52 inches, which was a huge deal
because he'll ride any roller coaster on the planet Earth.
And he got on one roller coaster, and he says,
oh my God, Dad, I'm so glad you're Luke Brian.
It was a pretty cute moment.
That's awesome.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your speaker.
Follow Bobby on Instagram.
At Mr. Bobby Bones.
I'm going to read you the top 10 Netflix shows in a second.
Now, not all time, but right now.
They're putting out a ranking.
Oh, I love that.
The number one show, I've been told like 10 times to watch it,
and I haven't seen it yet.
But because this came out and it's number one,
I'm probably going to start.
I'll tell you about that in a second.
Let's bring in our next guest co-host,
because Lunchbox is out.
This is Anzley Watson.
from KATV and Loder Rock.
She is the anchor there.
There she is.
She's coming right to the door.
There she goes.
She's in like her hair's on fire.
She's here.
My hair's on fire.
You come in like your hair's on fire.
So my grandma used to say.
I met Anzley.
Anzley, how are you?
I'm doing so great.
Mike, will you fix her microphone?
Just pull it down a little bit.
How tall are you, Anzley?
You're a gentleman.
Almost 5'7.
Not quite.
But almost there.
All right.
I met Anzley in Mountain Pine.
I went home
How long was that two months or so ago?
Yeah.
Yeah, I think that's about right.
And I got there and she's waiting on me like TMZ, paparazzi.
Was I really?
No, she wasn't.
I don't think I wanted that.
No, no, not at all.
But you wouldn't put it past yourself, maybe.
So that's where we met and she works for when I was growing up,
Ned Permi station.
Is old Ned Permi still around there?
Well, he retired, but he's still in Little Rock, yes.
We love Ned.
So yeah, she tweeted and tagged me.
I guess, what was the story?
So your boyfriend's mom tweeted us?
So my boyfriend's mom, her name's Stacy, she's a huge fan of the show.
And so she was listening and heard that obviously lunchbox was going to be gone.
And so she tweeted Anzley needs to fill in.
So I was just like, ha ha, that'd be so fun.
Retweeted it.
Tagged you, Bobby.
And then here we are.
Let's do it.
All right, what do you want to do first?
Oh my goodness.
What you mean?
Well, we'll do a joke first.
All right, Amy, you go over there?
Yeah.
So here's how it's going to work.
Ramon, do hit the clip and then...
The morning.
What did the police officer say to his belly button?
What did the police officer say to his belly button?
You're under a vest.
There you got, nice.
All right, thank you.
That was the morning corny.
All right, Anzley, how it's going to work is that clip is going to go.
Don't start.
We had problems with Chris Carpatrick yesterday.
I got it.
I got it.
I got it.
I'll point to you when it's your turn.
Okay, here we go.
Okay.
The morning corny.
Why are frogs always so happy?
Why are frogs always so happy?
They eat whatever bugs them.
Amy isn't that funny?
Wow.
I haven't heard of them before.
She's watching it.
And I've heard you, Amy.
I was cracking up when I read it.
I'm like, this is a good one.
Yeah, it is.
Anzley, how long have you been in television news?
Almost five years.
This August, I guess we'll mark it five years.
So I started in Michigan.
Okay, the Upper Peninsula, Michigan.
Beautiful.
Loved it.
But I was like, I need to get back down in the South.
It's so cold.
Ramundo, which part of the peninsula are you from?
Yeah, I'm from that upper peninsula too, baby.
He is?
Where from?
Marquette.
No, that's where I was on the news at.
TV6 and Marquette.
What?
Weird.
Are you serious?
Yeah, I lived there, though, in 15 years.
I moved out when I left high school, so.
So you went to, like, Marquette high school?
I went to Gwen, but it's just a little bit.
Oh, Gwen, that's a great school too.
Yeah, the model towners.
Okay.
Oh, my goodness.
I'm blown away.
Yeah, it's a great spot.
I loved it.
Shout out.
Did you go to school up there?
No, I went to Harding University in Arkansas.
Yeah.
And then moved back home, worked for a minor baseball team, and between jobs, then got my first news job.
So what did you study in college?
Broadcast journalism.
To be on the news?
Yeah.
Initially, I wanted to do radio, and I had my internships in radio, and I did an internship in
St. Louis.
And at the end, they were like, you did great, Ansley, but, like, have you thought about TV?
And I was like, oh, I don't know about that.
And I've loved that.
I literally did not know what I was going to be doing when I got from my TV.
first job. Like I did not know what it meant to do like live shops. And so you moved to a small
market, which is what happens usually. Yeah. I did it too. I worked in the hot springs, which is my hometown.
And so you then you moved to Little Rock from there? I did. It was perfect transition. So
Channel 7, Little Rock, they are starting a new afternoon show. So we have our good morning,
Arkansas lifestyle show, but we didn't have an afternoon show yet. And so they had just started it
and they needed a reporter for that. And so it was an easy transition from my two-year
contract there in Marquette had moved back down to Arkansas and starting this brand new show.
So we're about two and a half years into this new show, Good Afternoon, Arkansas.
And how's that going? Good? Oh, it's amazing. It's from 3 to 4. People in Arkansas, I love
y'all. Thank you so much for listening. But if you don't know about Good Afternoon, Arkansas,
watch from 3 and 4 in the afternoon. It's super fun. All right. Amy, good?
Yeah. No, I'm excited. I like her energy. I'm like, dang, I need some of whatever she has.
Amy, I want to give you a hug. You're so sweet. Oh, boy. You know, I am not the most energetic person.
I have decent energy, but holy moly.
I'm a morning person.
You are.
Right, and you work from three to four.
Okay, yeah.
Wait, so what time do you wake up in the morning usually?
Well, I have like a normal hour job now, so I wake up like seven or whenever.
And how was last night?
You drove up from Arkansas?
What was that drive?
It was great until we hit Memphis and it hit a huge storm.
No.
Listen, I was driving through.
We stopped at a, at a, at a, um,
Gas station?
No, we stopped at a restaurant.
I'm trying to remember.
It was Olive Garden.
Walked in for 20 minutes.
Came out.
My car was robbed.
I'm not going to lie.
We stopped at Popeyes last night for dinner.
And Stacey and I looked at each other.
We're like, probably not the best idea.
I stayed at a hotel in Memphis,
and they made me driving behind the gate,
and they shut the gate behind me.
Oh my gosh.
It's like you're in Haiti.
Yeah, no, I'm not kidding.
I was like, what is that?
Yeah, I wouldn't have stopped.
I would just keep going on.
Well, we were so hungry.
We had to go the bathroom so bad.
It was just we had to do it.
That's what happened.
But it was about a five-hour drive.
And then turned to six with the storm.
Did you do anything in Nashville last night?
Are you kidding me?
No, we were tired.
We got to the hotel and we're like, let's go to bed.
Do you drive right home after the show?
Yeah, so the goal is to get back home for our show at three.
So we'll see.
We'll see if we can make it.
So what Netflix is doing now is they're putting out a top 10 list on its homepage
and every day it gets updated with the most popular titles of people in your country.
I love this so much.
Yeah, me too.
And what was happening was, I was talking to my girlfriend last night,
and she goes, hey, we have to watch Love is Blind.
I go, I don't know what that is.
She said, oh, I've watched two episodes.
It's the greatest show I've ever seen this week.
And I was like, ever?
She goes, yeah, this week.
But she's, she comes down Thursday.
But here, these are the top 10 shows.
I am a killer.
Don't know what that is.
If anybody else, they are, step forward.
The chef show?
Anybody watch that?
No.
The stranger?
I saw that one.
What's that?
Yeah, that's the one about a girl that shows up
and people's lives and...
Oh, yeah, you were talking about that.
Messes up their lives completely.
Okay, that's at number eight.
The office is at number seven.
Whoop.
This new series called Baby is at eight.
Better Call Saul is at five.
Gentrified at four.
Lock and Key at three.
Narcos Mexico.
Okay.
What's your husband said?
You guys were watching.
Yes, we are.
And it's great.
And I realized, it's...
I mean, I've known this, but I know I bag on subtitles, Eddie, but Narcos Mexico is all
subtitles.
Oh, see.
You'll say.
But I'm into it.
I think because it's like a drug show and I'm oddly obsessed with that stuff, I can handle it.
And the number one show right now on Netflix in America is Love is Blind, which Anzley, have you watched the show?
Love it, yes.
So what is, how many episodes are out on what is it?
A little, I think there's like nine episodes out and there's three more coming out on Thursday, which I will be watching.
But it's basically like an experiment to see if people can fall in love emotionally before actually seeing them in person and judging their looks.
They're who they are basically.
How do they date if you can't see each other?
They're called the pods.
And so there's these just huge rooms where it's literally just a room with like a wall that you can speak through to each other.
And so these people walk in.
They're like, hello?
And another person's like, hi.
And they start talking and dating and get to know each other by not seeing each other.
Do they ever, is there ever a marriage on this?
So what they do is to actually see each other.
They have to propose in the pods.
and then therefore they can see each other
and then they go on this vacation
and then they like meet each other's families
and the end goal is to get married.
You've seen people meet and they'll turn the lights on?
Yes.
And so far they all are like excited
and be like oh yes I'm attracted to them
but now it's like they're spending more time together.
Are the people on the show super hot
or they kind of look like me?
So that's the thing.
They're all really attractive.
And so it's like I was talking with us
with a friend in the newsroom where they're just like
I mean, that's great, but I don't know.
Like, we want someone to turn.
We want like a really hot girl turn on the lights
and there'd be me sitting there.
And then just see her face where she goes,
oh, man.
That's what we want.
Let's be honest.
Well, then do it.
Go on the way.
She would already be so in love with your personality.
I haven't seen this show.
But again, I was talking to my girlfriend about it last night.
And she goes, do you think we would fall in love
without knowing each other?
And they said, listen, that's what I told her.
I said, if we're just talking to each other and we're only basing it on the words we say and how funny we are, I said, you're probably going to fall in love with me.
Because that's how I got you.
I said, but if I have a better shot of getting you that way than you're seeing me.
Because I never could talk to anybody when it's just physical attraction.
I'm no supermodel.
Let's not get it twisted.
If you're new to the show, I'm no supermodel.
Imagine Clay Aiken with like a little bit of shine.
Like that's kind of me.
and so
then we talk about that
she's super funny
but I was just like
you know
dudes and women
fall in love differently
we are very visual
guys are stupid
we're like
we need to be hard
we need to be attracted
but there's so much depth
in women
that you can find a guy
that you're just like
me
but he can be awesome
and you be like
all right now we're talking
that's how I got my girlfriend
so you could
you would actually be
really good at this show. I'm just like any, yeah, take it on. Okay, also Nick Lichet,
Nick and Vanessa Lachet host it? Yes. Okay. Now I know, now I know. I've seen promotions for that,
but I wasn't putting two and two together. Okay, I'll watch an episode tonight. And how long are the
episodes? I think they're about an hour. Oh, too long. No, no, an hour of that? See,
what is a little long as at the beginning when they're all in the pause, getting to know each other? It gets a little
like, blah. But then it's like when they see each other, like, you know, like, you
You want to see that moment.
I want the biggest loser whenever they jump through the paper and they're from fat to skinny.
I want to see lights dark light on.
I want to see.
I like to trans-dive.
That's what I like.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, 57 minutes.
Yeah, a little too long.
Nah, you got it.
We should do like 39 minutes shows.
I got my boyfriend hooked on it.
It's just a good time.
Now, who's prettier?
You or him.
Be honest.
My boyfriend and I?
Yeah.
I don't know.
He's so cute.
He's so handsome.
She goes with cute.
He's probably just got a good personality.
Do we want to show a picture?
That's coming from me.
We'll come back.
We'll do the picture reveal after this.
I don't want to see him.
Okay.
But I'll look.
And Bobby, you're not scared to admit when you think a guy's hot.
You know how there's like the settler and the reacher thing?
I don't know what that.
Hold that.
Have you not heard that?
I don't hold that.
Darius just texting me.
He goes, Clay Aiken with Shine.
That's hilarious.
He's like, spot on.
Shout out to Darius.
He's listening to South Carolina right now.
It's like Clay Aiken who's listening.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, my back.
And then.
He'll just so much.
That's so sad.
We will come back.
I want to see Anzley's boyfriend.
By the way, filling in for lunchbox today is Anzley from KATV in Little Rock.
We had a guy from InSink yesterday.
We had Travis Denning, who's an artist.
Folks are coming by and entertaining us for the next couple weeks.
Okay, Anzley, let me see your boyfriend.
Okay, here we go.
Anzley Watson, who is filling in for lunchbox today.
She is on KATV in Little Rock, which is the ABC affiliate.
I'm looking at him now.
Here's the thing, Ansela.
I'm sure he's a nice guy.
Oh, he could probably be listening right now.
I'm sure he is.
He should be.
He did nothing to be.
No, no, no, no.
Relax.
Relax.
Let's hear it.
Because I am like him.
We're both, we both outkicked our coverage, I would say.
He's a fine looking guy.
I'm sure he's funny and loyal and kind.
But he's all right.
Do you think he's the reacher?
What is that name?
Like I settled and he's reaching?
No, no, no, no.
Settling.
My point was, women have way more depth than men.
And you guys can look for things because we're dumb.
We're like, itty pretty to me.
And if she is, we can go for it.
You guys can go, okay.
He's cute.
And he's got great hair.
Amy.
Doesn't he have the best hair?
Yeah, he's the best hair.
But who is prettier?
She's prettier, but he's cute.
Good, good for him.
And she said that.
I'm proud of him.
I just say that.
We are all proud of you, Matt.
I like his style.
Yeah.
Because I'm at, I'm like you.
When people look at me with my girlfriend, they're like, is there some, you know, make a wish
for...
Dead.
That's hilarious.
She is an angel
princess.
She's gorgeous.
I don't,
I mean,
I don't use those words.
Well, that's what I'm saying.
But...
Wow.
Angel princess.
If I were to say that to her,
if I were like, hey,
hey, my little angel princess,
I think she might vomit.
Have you ever called her babe?
No.
Baby?
I don't do pet names.
It doesn't...
Babe's not even really a pet name, though.
It's just what you say.
Mm-mm.
Like...
Mama?
No.
No.
No.
No.
I don't do anything.
I dare you to use Babe casually when she's here this weekend.
Just be like, hey, babe, can you hear me that?
Does she call you anything?
No.
Not yet.
Y'all will.
Yeah, no.
No, nothing like that.
No, we're good.
No, we're not trying.
No, it's just not my style either to have weird goofy pet names.
Babe is not weird and goofy.
Nothing like that.
Honey babes.
I mean, look at this.
I'm looking at this guy now.
By the way, Anzley's name on Instagram is A. Watson 122 if you want to follow her.
A Watson 1-2-2.
I'm sure he's a great guy.
He is.
But he really, like, did good on getting you.
I would say, do you want to know how we met?
Yeah.
It's kind of a cool story.
Go ahead.
So I was interviewing his dad.
His dad has a nonprofit called Cubs Kids,
which mentors kids takes him out hunting and fishing and whatnot.
And so he was living on this island in the middle of Arkansas River to raise money for this
nonprofit.
And get out there, introduce myself to the guy was interviewing.
Matt's dad.
And like within two minutes, he just flips his phone around.
He's like, yeah, this is my son.
Y'all need to meet.
So the dad hooked you guys up?
Well, he tried.
And then the next day, one of our meteorologist, James Bryant,
said, Ansela, I have this friend.
I was looking on Instagram and I saw this picture from my friend Matt,
and I just clicked like, y'all need to meet.
And I was like, that's weird because I just interviewed his dad yesterday.
Are you sure this guy wasn't funny?
He says he didn't know.
And you guys have been together for how long?
Almost a year.
And how's that going?
March. Oh, it's wonderful. He's the love of my life.
You think you guys are in the long haul?
You think so? Are you having that conversation?
Yes, for sure.
Have you looked at rings?
He knows what I like, but we haven't like physically gone somewhere.
How old is he?
So he's 24 and I'm 27.
Oh.
Oh, Robin Cradle.
That was really, really weird from me at first.
And now it's fine.
But Cougar Central in there, huh?
Stop it. See, this is what I'm scared of. I was like, I don't want me that person.
Sometimes are you like, okay, when I was.
you know, 19, he was 16.
But that's not a thing. I know,
I do that though. I do that. I used to do that all the time.
When my dad got married to his
fourth wife, I was like...
What was the age different?
I was like, dad,
you were like
your late 20s and she was a baby.
Ever since then, I always do that with Google.
So, sorry about that.
Well, I would say that this guy did good.
Yeah, thank you.
Oh, thanks. That's a real compliment.
I'd say he did.
Because, again,
He's a fine guy.
Most dudes, though, most guys are in that middle lane of just being fine.
Like, most guys aren't super hot or super ugly.
Most guys are just in the middle lane and you can find a good quality attached to it.
Who is a super hot guy then in your mind?
David Beckham, Ryan Gosling.
Okay.
Should I go on?
Keep going.
Keep going.
You got a list.
Don't worry, I haven't topped it.
Who is the hottest celebrity guy, Amy, to you?
I normally default to you.
Ryan Gosseling, but there's, I feel like
there's a lot. But again, I don't know
their real personality, so I'm like, would I really
like them? Would you meet them in the pod and mesh?
Yeah. I probably, you know that guy from you?
Whatever, that dude's, he's pretty hot.
Pin, Badgley. Yeah.
That probably, yeah. If I like dudes, it probably
my type. Really? That him? Probably, yeah.
Morgan number two, who's your favorite dude?
I like the Hemsworth
brothers, Liam and Chris Hensworth. You like big
muscular dudes? I mean, yeah,
but they also are like GQ models. They look
very attractive and their
fit. They just, you know, full package.
What's your type, Ansley?
Matt.
Okay.
Good answer. Good answer.
No, a celebrity.
If I had to pick a celebrity who's really attractive, I think Zach Efron's really attractive.
Do you think he's too muscular now?
Have you seen those new Charlotte pictures with them?
I mean, I haven't been searching, no, but I have.
I don't. Is there, well, I don't know.
He's a lot of muscles.
It's too much muscle?
It's a little too much.
Is it a little too vainy or something?
Is it a little too?
I think he got muscular for Bay.
watch.
The remake or whatever, the movie.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed,

Filling in for lunchbox today is Ansley Watson,
who works the news in Little Rock on KATV Channel 7,
and she drove up like five hours to be with us this morning.
I was reading about you, Anzley.
You used to work at a butcher shop?
Yes, that was my high school job.
What did you do there?
I was like the deli meat slicer, the cheese slicer.
Did you have a favorite kind of meat to slice?
Oh, that's a good question.
Is it though?
The worst kind.
Is it really a good question?
I've just never met anyone who...
The worst kind is Cajun Turkey.
Because it's really messy.
So when people come in an order, I'll take a half pound of Cajun Turkey, you'd be like, oh, crap.
Yes, it was the worst.
The best kind was...
Probably like the honey ham.
It stayed together pretty well, you know, solid.
Your favorite movie?
ever, if you had to pick?
She's the man.
Is that with Amanda Binds?
Yep.
When she play soccer?
Yeah.
It's been a while.
Do you know where the whole, like the whole tampon trick,
if you have a bloody nose thing going and you stick a tampon up your nose?
Is it come from that?
It came from that movie.
That happened on cheers.
Yeah.
And by the way, it's happened to me a few times because I have chronic nosebleeds,
or at least you used to as a kid growing up in Arkansas would get so hot there
that I would just go to sleep and wake up and my pillow would be drenched in blood.
And so I'll be like, oh my goodness.
So we would use, sometimes we'd rip up the tan packs and put it in my nose.
It works, though?
It does work.
Favorite song ever in your whole life?
Okay, so I don't really have one.
I have like jams at certain time in my life.
And when I had to think about this, it's Spice Girls just came to my mind.
Spice Girls.
You were a beekeeper?
Yes.
Started that when I was 14 with my dad.
My parents still have my hives.
at home. I don't have them in Little Rock. But it kind of started as a, you guys, like as a project for,
I was in FFA and for agriculture and ag, but started as a project in high school and then
got local honey. We sold at the butcher shop. It was great. Wow. You do, you do marathons?
I've done one full and two halves. You like running? I did. I did the, I, I'm burnt out right now.
We just did, St. St. John, actually, and my dad, we ran the St. Jude Marathon. So after that, I was
Like, that was awesome, but I'm good for a little bit on running.
We were talking to Ainsley about her boyfriend a minute ago, and I was like, you know, he's not as good looking as you are.
He did really well for himself, but I didn't know that you brought his mom with you.
Yes, she's the whole reason I'm even here.
So she's got to tag along.
And how does she feel with me saying her son's not as pretty as you are?
I don't know if she likes her.
I would see that as a badge of honor.
Like he did, like he outperformed.
Right.
Like, that's all we want to be is overachievers, right?
and we want to outwork what God gave us?
Yeah.
No, outkick your coverage.
Is that what they say?
Let's do it.
Tell Me Something Good.
And Anzley's going to do one here.
I'm going to hit this clip.
I will point at you.
We call this the Chris Cartagic rule.
We would hit a clip and he would start talking.
All right, Raymond, do hit it?
It's time for the good news.
Tell me something good.
Ansley, you're up.
Okay, so my freshman year college roommate.
Her name is Jasmine Pierce.
She's my age, so 27.
diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. She just got done with chemo, but she's getting a double
mastectomy on Friday. So we're very grateful that everything is looking good right now. So just prayers,
everything goes fine on Friday. Wow. Good for her. Yeah. It was tough hearing that. Good luck to the
rest of her process, but good for her that she went through and is on the other side of that.
Yeah. We're all really excited for that. Yeah. That's what we'll take that. Nice. When you work in
news, do they give you money for clothes? Um, I have a little bit of a budget. Yeah, for clothing.
and hair and stuff.
Is there a rule where you can't wear the same thing twice?
Ugh.
If there is, I've never been told that.
I definitely wear the same stuff twice.
You do?
Oh, yeah.
I don't have enough clothes for that.
You know what I would do is I think I would wear the same thing every day for a week
and make it a uniform type thing and then switch.
It's your brand, I guess.
Just branding yourself.
Yeah, that's what we do, Raging Idiots.
We wear the same clothes all the time.
What I want to do is start wearing scrubs to work.
as my thing.
And make it my, no.
And make it my thing because then it's the thing.
And it's comfortable, you know.
People are going to confuse you for a doctor.
I'm okay with that too.
Yeah, that'd be cool.
I'm no problem with that.
Well, then they're going to be asking you all these questions about, you know,
their problems.
Why are you going to say?
I guess you could answer them.
The same thing I say on this show.
I got all the answers.
Sit down.
So, yeah, raging idiots.
We wear the same clothes all the time on purpose
because I didn't want to have to dress us.
Yeah, it's the best thing.
Let me say this too.
I was looking at, let me pull it up.
Eddie and I were playing Tampa on Sunday at the Strawberry Festival.
There are still tickets available, but the show has been selling wonderfully.
And then somebody that works for the Tampa Bay Times or one of those, put us as like the worst show to see at Strawberry Festival.
What?
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
Let me read to you what they wrote.
Were they like rating?
Yeah, so there's like 23 acts or so on.
We're like near the end.
Wow.
It's like how to prioritize your day.
Rude.
Yeah, well, you have to buy tickets.
Not good.
So, hey, Ramo, do you get the Target song back up, if you don't mind?
They say, Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots, 3.30 p.m. March 1st.
As basically country music's Ryan Seacrest,
Bones is one of the most powerful figures in Nashville.
He's parlayed that power to Estillan Dancing with the Stars
and is a comic and musician, fun stuff, but hardly essential.
And we're like one of the last ranked shows.
Wow.
So I don't know who wrote this.
Mike, do you know who wrote this?
Say his name.
Uh-oh.
What?
He goes if you want me to.
Yeah, put it up on the screen.
Just put it up on the screen.
I just wonder what this dude's beef is with us.
I bet he has a beard.
Usually guys with beards hate us.
Like, guys with cool guy beards, I don't know what he looks like.
But cool guys with beard usually don't like us.
But I'm telling you.
Wow.
I'm done right?
Really?
It's a beard.
It's usually hipster guys with beards who are like, these guys.
Who are these guys?
Who are about to prove him wrong as what we're going to do.
What's his name?
Gay Kvidlid.
Jay what?
Cridlin, of course.
From the Tampa Cridlins.
They always hated us, Eddie.
So I saw that this morning.
Wow, you're basically Ryan Seacrest doing non-essential things.
Yeah.
First of all, I love Ryan Seacrest.
I think Ryan's great.
Other than us just being white guys, we're not that alike.
Well, you're both in radio and TV.
Yeah.
There's a lot of white guys in radio and TV.
When people call me that, I'm always like, hey, thanks.
It's so great.
Ryan's the greatest host I've ever seen.
But other than that, they're kind of just putting all us
white dudes in a box.
Yeah, they do that with me and Mario Lopez, too, all the time.
They do? It's crazy.
Okay.
Okay, I just did.
Well, Bobby and Ryan have similar jaw lines, too.
We do?
Okay, maybe I'm missing out on this.
No, I've never thought that.
Really?
You've never thought that their physique is similar?
Look at them now.
Their physique is similar.
Yeah, thank you.
But I don't want to put you in a box with him.
but your physique is somewhere.
Dang.
I like, Ryan's a good shape.
Oh, y'all do have the same jaw line.
Okay, well, maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe I am Ryan's here.
All right, though.
You know what? I'll take it.
Essentially.
You guys are twins, actually.
The Tampa Bay Times is the one hating on us.
So if you guys want to come out of Strawberry Festival,
there are still tickets.
Yeah.
Eddie, what do you say to this?
No, don't listen to that.
I think we're really good and fun.
Yeah, we are really good and funny.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
So there was a really bad car accident where the car was totaled,
and trooper Jesse Williams was a state trooper that was out there to help them.
And he realized he put the women in the car.
They were okay, but their car was total.
He put them in his cop car, took them home,
and kind of realized the situation they were in and that their car helped them get anywhere
and everywhere.
This would really disrupt their life, not having a car.
And they didn't have the finances to get another one.
So he went home to his family.
This went down in December.
He went home to his family, and they all decided to not do Christmas gifts,
not buy anything, and they spent that money and saved some more, and now eventually ended up buying
them a new car and gave it to the crash victims.
Dang.
All because he was the officer on the scene and he learned about their story.
They gave up Christmas.
Yeah, and that, yes.
Yeah, that's crazy.
That's a good story.
Yeah, that's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Here we go.
Come on, Bobby.
Ansley Watson from KATV and Little Rock has been filling in for lunchbox.
If someone asks you, Anzley, what you do for a living?
What do you say?
I am a co-host for a lifestyle afternoon show.
On TV.
On TV.
That's a long name, huh?
I don't know.
You just say news anchor?
Nobody really asked me that much.
Well, I feel like an anchor is a little different from a host.
Anchors more news.
Hostes more talk shows.
Would you be okay with them sliding you in to the big anchor spot?
Could you handle that?
I think I could handle it.
I don't know if people would like that, though, because seeing me serious is weird.
You know, I did TV reporting young, 2021, 21, 20,
22, 23 for a bit.
And I just, it wasn't my thing because I didn't want to knock on people's doors and be like,
hey, I know there was a car accident and your cousin died.
Will you talk to me?
That's brutal.
Eddie came from TV news.
Yeah, that was a hard part.
Going to people that were grieving and hurting and trying to like ask them questions that
really, I felt too like, it's none of my business.
But I guess it kind of is.
I don't know.
So that's not your goal is to be six or ten anchor?
What's the goal for you?
I'm so blessed.
I mean, this literally my dream job was to become a host of a show one day.
I didn't know what that looked like, but I was just like, that would be fun, like just chatting with people, getting to know people's lives, just having fun, goofing around.
And that's what I get to do.
It's happening right now.
I'm living my dream.
It's great.
And your boyfriend works in television, too?
He is a field producer for outdoor shows, yeah.
So that means he's editing shows and films and, uh-huh.
So those shows go on Discovery and other, all the outdoor channels.
His mom is here?
Yeah, Stacey.
Can we bring her in?
Let's bring in Ansley's boyfriend's mom, who is one of the reasons that she's here.
Yay.
There she is.
Come on in here.
Hi, Stacey.
Walk out to the microphone.
How are you today?
I'm good.
So you tweeted me in the show that she would be a good villain for lunchbox.
Yes.
Why did you feel like she would be perfect?
Because she's awesome.
She's fun.
And she's just as good at what she does.
Is it weird to see her make out of what she does?
with your son.
I don't see that.
Thank you.
Well, I just wonder.
Like, they don't kiss in front of you?
No.
They,
you never kissed up on her?
I don't think we have.
I mean, maybe a little peck.
Why are we doing that?
Why would they make out in front of her?
I don't know.
I don't know.
That would be so weird.
So, do you listen to the show?
I do.
On the podcast, mostly.
Oh, cool.
Yeah, when we moved back to Little Rock seven years ago
was when you came on.
Where did you move from?
Well, we're from Little Rock,
but we were living in Florida.
for six years.
Oh.
Did you hear about that guy in Florida and Tampa Bay that was bashing us?
No, I didn't.
Don't even get me started.
I was crazy.
It was a whole segment you missed.
I was on fire.
And so you drove up with her last night.
You're going to head back today.
What did you think about this whole experience?
It's cool.
I'm so excited for.
What did you learn from being up here?
Well, I learned some of the behind the scenes things, but.
There's a lot of behind the scenes.
Did you meet the guys in the office over there, Raymondo?
I met some.
I talked to Hillary for a while.
Okay.
And then Scoo of Steve.
And were they nice to you?
They were very nice.
Okay, because if they weren't, I'll hire them right now.
You weren't so nice, though.
What?
That's not true.
That was my son that you were talking about.
Oh, well, he's not as good looking as she is.
How did that make you feel?
I feel like that would be something I'd be proud of.
I'm proud of it, but he's cute.
Well, no, no, you missed the whole point of that.
He is.
He's such a sweetheart.
I compared him to me.
Okay.
That we definitely both out kicked our coverage with how pretty our girlfriends are.
Okay, yes.
And you took that as a slam when it was nothing but it was a home run.
It is. It is. I'm very happy for him. We love Anzley.
And do you hope they get married?
They will. You think they will?
Yeah. She was telling me that's her only boyfriend ever.
Yeah, he's pretty close to the same too.
But he probably had one or two other ones.
I mean, did you like that?
But he's only 24.
He's digging.
Oh yeah, he's telling high school.
Stop, don't say that.
I met Anzley back in Mountain Pine.
Yes.
Anzley came and covered a story when I went back to my hometown.
And she actually met Caitlin too.
I forgot about that.
She was wearing a green sweater and a pretty golden necklace.
There you go.
She's gorgeous.
And wouldn't you say she's way prettier than I am pretty?
Yeah, for sure.
Nothing wrong with that.
Look at me.
Look how complimented I am right now.
Yeah, like how complimented I am.
Anzley, we have you a gift, a parting gift.
Yes.
I brought you all a gift too, by the way.
Oh, you did?
Yeah.
Here it comes.
Here's your gift.
This is, it's a Little Rock signed by all of us.
It's literally a Little Rock.
Because you're from Little Rock.
We all signed this little robot.
I love it.
We put eyes on it and the smiley face.
There you go.
She loves it.
This is just the eyeballs move and everything.
We really spent a lot of money on this.
I like the glue.
We didn't think you'd love it that much.
This is amazing.
What's your gift there?
You have a gift you say?
Oh, yes.
So you said that you love McClard's, right?
I do love McClard's.
We have McClard's barbecue sauce for you.
How did you get a full bottle?
Well, I told you that Alicia did a story.
Clark, sorry the bow's a little wrinkly.
She did a story with them the other day.
And so she brought back a whole bunch of barbecue sauce.
We literally had barbecue sauce at the office.
Oh, so you brought me something just sitting around.
Oh, nice.
I made you a rock.
I did arts and crafts for you.
Okay, let's compare.
What is better?
Look at this bow, though.
I think a heart gift.
Thank you very much.
Oh, no, the eyeball just fell off.
Anzley, what would you like to say as we conclude our segment here?
Thank you all so much for having me.
I'm truly humbled and honored.
This was just so fun.
God's put me in a really great spot.
Thank you all. You're all are sweet.
And to Anzley's boyfriend, Jimmy, has the name?
Matt.
Can I call him Jimmy?
You're like, whatever.
Okay, yeah, yeah.
I'm proud of you, man.
I see a lot of me and you, a lot of you and me.
Good for him.
Hey, Mom, that was the biggest compliment.
Okay, I'll take it.
And you're a good mom.
You're heading back today.
Yes.
What do you and Anzley talk about the whole time?
Everything.
It's like, yeah.
She just kind of joined us.
She's just part of us.
Does she ever stay at your house?
Not overnight
No
No
No
If you went on a trip on vacation
Could they sleep in the same room?
Ooh, good question
They wouldn't
We wouldn't
We don't do that
They wouldn't
No
Okay
What if they wanted to though
They wouldn't
Would you have a talk with him though
And be like son
No he's a grown man
It's true
He is a girl
He's got a beard
He's got a beard
He does have a beard
Do you feel like
she's a little old though for him
Well, you know.
No.
Okay, well.
No.
But it sure makes things fun.
I can mess with her.
I can take a joke.
All right.
Listen,
we've had fun.
Anzley,
great to see you.
Good to see you as well.
Hope you had fun today.
Amy?
You'd like to say, Amy?
So fun.
I hope,
I mean,
one day maybe you could come back.
Like,
I like the energy that you brought.
It wasn't too much.
I can be a lot sometimes.
That's true,
but we just,
you're just here.
I'm just so happy.
It's an hour.
I'm just so happy.
Anzley, give up your Instagram to everybody.
A. Watson 122 is my Instagram.
A. Watson 122.
I'm going to come back. I'm going to co-host your show one day.
You are.
Oh, that would be fun.
I'm going to do the weather because I'm a big Barry Brent fan.
And he does weather there.
And so I'm going to go do the weather on the green screen.
I just really love this little rock.
You have it?
You know what?
Take it home with you.
Thank you.
I was going to take it back, but take it home with you.
I saw the story that Kirk Douglas left a $60 million fortune to charity.
and left his son none.
But then doesn't his son have a bunch of money anyway?
He's rich.
Which was a weird story to me.
They would go, like, he didn't leave his kid any money.
His kid's rich.
He probably didn't need any money.
Kirk Douglas has continued his charitable efforts, even after his passing.
60 million bucks.
Now, that being said, am I had a will talk yesterday?
With?
My people that, my people, I don't know what they can call them.
Okay, I didn't know if you met with Caitlin or with.
No.
I do have a thing, no.
Raymond, could get a news sounder because I do have some sort of news to drop on you guys.
About your will?
Yeah.
Here it is, Amy.
About my will.
Don't rub your hands together.
Here he goes.
Eddie.
I'm getting the house, huh?
No.
Come on.
It's not about that.
Okay.
But news is, I've really put the pressure on radio.
Thank you.
Eddie, you're now on my pull the plug list.
Whoa, whoa, buddy.
I know.
You need to talk to me about that stuff.
First of all, I had to pull my.
ex-girlfriend off of it because I'm in a new relationship.
And she was just there because I'd have nobody to change it to.
So was Amy and my ex-girlfriend on my, if I can't function and I'm on life support, they were
the pull the pluggers.
But the obvious answer is keep him alive.
Always.
Always.
Holy crap.
So now it's Amy and Eddie.
Eddie, you're now on my pull-the-plug list.
Every time you guys would talk about this, I was like, Amy, that's a tough job.
I'm so glad I don't have that job.
It's not that hard.
We just keep him alive.
but here's the deal.
We're going to need money to keep you alive.
You're not going to get paid to do it.
Oh.
What do you mean?
It's not like an hourly wage.
No, no, you're saying.
You don't get a salary to keep me alive.
No, I don't need to get paid, but there needs to be a medical fund.
So you're saying if I run out of money, you're not going to pay for it to keep me alive?
Oh, wow.
Then we start going in our pockets.
I will figure it out.
Interesting.
Yeah.
I'll, I'll figure it out.
So as of yesterday, I changed it to Amy and Eddie are now my pull the plug or not people.
Wow.
That's a thing. I did put you down.
Hey, Bones, real talk, though.
How long do you want to stay alive?
Forever.
Right, but if we do run out of money, like, what do we do?
You won't run out of money.
Okay.
It's free.
This is crazy, dude.
This may be the most responsibility I've had in my life, and I have four kids.
Yeah.
Well, you know.
This is nuts.
I didn't tell Eddie yesterday, but I needed to do that.
And a lot of less was reaching out going, hey, have you taken your ex-corphan off of your will.
It's probably smart that you made it me and Eddie this time and didn't throw Caitlin
in the mix because then it's just hard.
If I hope you and Caitlin work out forever, I think she's amazing.
But just if not, then it's like a whole other thing again.
Have you told your ex that she's not no longer?
Oh boy.
But that's not that you don't have the call.
Should we fine?
It's fine.
It's not a breakup thing where you're going to like, hey, I'm breaking up, we don't have to kill me.
You know, in case I'm sick.
Yeah, I guess not.
Yeah.
Hopefully it never even has to happen.
But anyway.
Is that the only thing you amended?
Yeah, but I don't tell you guys what I'm doing to my will.
No, you haven't.
Because you guys will kill me.
me if you know you're in it.
I believe you'll poison me.
Something will happen.
I don't try.
I'm not telling anyone who's in my will.
And let's just say this, you'll be surprised.
We'll tell you after the break of my life.
See you.
No, I'm not doing that.
Oh, no, I just didn't know if there's anything else you amended.
I know.
I don't ever dig into who gets what.
I did amend a couple of things in my will,
percentages of stuff.
And then I put Eddie on the pull-to-plug list.
That's a big deal, man.
And thank you.
I'm honored.
Hey, you know what?
I'm honored.
Thank you.
You're welcome, buddy.
It's a tough job.
It's like being announced
and Ray's Bachelor party.
It's like, I should have the whole thing
where we're like, all right,
who's going to get to pull the plug?
Check under your desk.
But we're not pulling the plug.
Yeah, I want to look.
Listen, it shouldn't even be called that.
It should be who gets to keep Bobby alive.
If you pull the plug on me and I die,
I will haunt you until you die.
If you pull the plug on me and I live,
I will kill you.
you whenever I am back alive.
But you don't even believe in spirits.
I don't believe that I've ever had a contact with one.
But I will make sure I will be the first.
I will be the Christopher Columbus of haunting spirits.
Okay.
Can't wait for that then.
Yeah.
So anyway, big news.
Thank you.
The end.
What else happened yesterday?
I did a deal with Three Doors Down yesterday where you may know Three Doors Down
from this song.
It was a 20th anniversary of this song and this record coming out.
And so I know Brad a little bit.
the lead singer and we've got to know each other through a couple of charity events and he's like
hey would you mind coming out and interviewing us and so we did like an hour and 10 minute interview
and just kind of went through their career it's pretty cool that it'll be out soon but we spent
a lot of time with them i just they're like deep south mississippi boys rock band if they were to
come out now i think i'm convinced they'd be a country act wow because all their sensibilities
are country it's no different than what al dean does musically like the distorted guitar
and I think people are always surprised
to how country they are when they talk
and so it was good.
Like, what other song do we have up there, Ray?
Here's this one.
Now that's a country song.
Yeah, for sure.
And so I was talking with them yesterday,
I was like, I don't know why you guys just don't put out
like what you do now, which is a country record
and I have to chase some rock sound
that you don't even know what that is.
Like, don't chase anything.
Just put out your music,
but you know where that fits now
is in our way.
world.
So, but it was good.
We did that yesterday for,
there we go.
Over this one.
They had a lot of hits, man.
Good guys.
I think I'm going to try to get them
to come up here and play on the show
in the next few weeks or so,
three doors down.
And I'm having them played the hits.
Of course.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was good.
I was going to talk about,
oh, someone just tweeting me a question,
is your dog taking care of in your will?
It is not.
You didn't amend that yesterday?
Mm-mm.
I didn't think about that.
Mm-hmm.
What if I just give it all
my dog and he gets to live the greatest life ever.
Somebody would have to manage that though.
But is just roll over whoever you had for Dusty?
I don't know that I had that.
You didn't?
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
I got to do that, huh?
Interesting.
The only thing I have.
Amy went and she told me this, so I don't know what to think.
Because I don't like surprises if I know they're coming.
But Amy said they went and looked at a venue for my birthday.
I don't even know what that means.
Site visit.
Oh, bones, you know, venues, stadiums, aren't.
I get it.
I don't know what's happening.
happening here from my birthday is April 2nd, my 40th birthday.
I don't know.
I mean, I'll tell you where we went.
Like, I don't, it's not a, I just don't know how much you want to know.
I'm not trying to keep things from you.
That's why I'm giving you a little, the information as it comes.
Like, as we work on it, I'm letting you know because it's obviously not a surprise.
I have no idea, bones.
No, that's why Eddie and I looked at each other.
We were like, seen him each other new, but we don't know anything.
It's going to be massive, huh?
What does massive mean?
Is Hanson coming back?
Oh.
What?
Hanson, Amy.
See, now you have it, like, don't.
This is why you can't trickle a surprise.
Okay, then I'm not trickling.
It's not a surprise, Bobby.
It's not a surprise.
You know your birthday's April 2nd.
I want a hoody of the blowfish and they can't come.
Right.
Okay, yeah.
Sorry.
Did you try hooty?
Sorry.
Sorry about that.
And you know what?
John Mayer's not coming either.
Oh.
Also, it's trying to find my seven degrees of separation to Steve Correll.
Not available.
Dang.
So listen, don't hype it up.
But how do you, why are you all worked up about a surprise when you know your birthday's April 2nd and you know that like months ago you appointed me party chair?
She's going to blow up, both.
I don't know why you're acting all.
Do you not want to be party chair?
I 100% want to be party chair.
I would expect nothing less of myself.
Yeah.
Or more.
Okay.
But no.
It's got, no.
Do you have a plan other than the venue right now?
Well, there was another plan, but got a quote back from that place.
And I was like, like, I laughed out loud.
I couldn't believe it.
Like, is it a venue?
I could like send my children to college or something.
What was the place?
No, no, no, no, no.
You don't want to have a discussion here?
I know that I know why it was what it was because the hours we'd be renting it would be peak hours for them.
I'm sure they would make more than that.
Was it to Sonic?
That would be so fun.
Like, you just go to Sonic.
Oh, good.
Unlimited sonnet.
You can't do it in a happy hour.
Speaking of fast food, there is an element of that that could be involved in where we went yesterday.
And I think this isn't even like a crazy surprise.
But when they said it, I was like, shut up.
That is perfect.
Like it's right up your alley.
Cracker barrel.
No.
Oh, chicken fried steaks.
Everybody gets their own chicken fried steak.
I'm talking about fried okra.
It's even better.
There's nothing better.
Well, in a different, like, if you...
See, this one I'm talking about.
That's Southern cooking. Think, uh, think Mexican.
Eddie.
What you said think Mexican, so you came out of my head.
I'm like, yeah, yeah, what's up?
Do you want to know where I went?
Not anymore.
Why?
So I'm ready for the...
Is it going to be a surprise?
No, it's...
Where it is is not going to be a surprise because you're going to have to know.
But I would say, here's what to expect.
Where it is, first of all, we don't even know for sure that it's going to be
where we went yesterday.
I hope so.
Okay.
Because I love it.
But it...
Is it a music venue?
No.
Okay.
Do you me just tell you?
Nope.
Hockey venue?
Okay.
Is it a Titan Stadium?
Yeah.
Football venue?
We sell tickets.
Everybody watches me just sit there and eat cake.
No, there's no new tickets.
That'd be the weirdest birthday party.
Hello.
Hello.
Thank you.
Hey, can I?
Can I?
Can I?
Can I?
Happy birthday, birthday to me.
We have Ray announce it and now he's eating cake.
Wait, okay.
Since you have, since we're in front of the microphone.
Yeah.
And that's where you tell me things.
Honestly, how do...
I tell you things off the air too.
Yeah. And that's where you tell me the thing.
Go ahead.
Where do you think, where do you see this?
Like, how many people are you picturing?
The honest.
The honest bones.
It's your 40th because last year we had like eight people and that was intentional.
So it's like, in my mind yesterday we were going from eight to like a wedding.
So I was like, let me ask this.
Are we selling tickets to this?
No.
Oh.
Why would you sell tickets?
Just trying to make money off your birthday?
No, no, no, no.
Now you're talking buns.
All right.
No, this would be privately funded by your friends.
No, no, no, no.
I'll pay for it.
What?
No.
You don't pay for your birthday?
Well, Amy, how much is this going to put us?
Like, what are we talking?
Okay.
Everybody can come.
I don't care.
Okay.
What do you mean everyone?
Everyone listening right now?
Everybody's listening?
Everybody's going to be invite only, but I was just genuinely curious, like, how the invite should look.
like because you have so many people in your life now that I know that are very important to you that are like you have little different worlds and I'm some of them I don't anyway we're working on I just want to make sure because I want everybody to be included so as long as you're cool with that we've learned nothing except there's a lot of going into this we've learned nothing you're right nothing

Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plant tailor to where you live,

No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.

Well, there's another genius health tip on the internet and doctors are going, hey, we don't think
this is right. So what's happening is there is a hemorrhoid cure involving potatoes that you
shouldn't do. If you see it, don't do it. There's a home.
remedy, it involves inserting
a slice of a peeled raw potato
into your butt and leaving it there for 30 seconds.
Doctors saying, don't do it,
because there's a lot of bad stuff that can happen
if you do that.
A raw potato is slightly acidic,
and apparently,
by the way, I'm just not,
is this somebody's joke?
This is somebody being funny
and creating a meme or something
and then everybody started doing it.
There probably was a point in my life
where I might have tried this, but now.
Sounds like Gwyneth Paltrow.
Something she would tell us
Exactly. And I'd be like, okay.
The claim is, peel a raw potato and cut into thin slices like you do the french fries.
Put the slices in the freezer, wait until the frozen, insert the frozen potato slice in your butt and leave it inside for 30 seconds.
Repeat the process for three to five days. The next three to five days, leave a slice in for 30 seconds more each time.
What?
But don't do it. That's what you're saying.
No.
No, I'm saying don't do it.
Yeah. Yeah. They say, go to the doctor if it's that bad. Don't put potatoes in your butt.
Well, I guess I did I miss what the
What ailment do you have
Or what is the good that comes from it?
I think it's just cold on
Something that's inflamed
Okay
I think that's and what else can you get up your butt
But a sliced potato
Oh right, yeah, nothing else
I don't know if it released something into your
Hemorrhoids are swollen or bulging veins
Oh
They're similar to varicose veins
But a much more sensitive part of the body
one in 20 people.
When I was training for a triathlon,
I got one.
And I was like, I thought I was dying.
I called the doctor
because I was bleeding in my butt
and I was like, I need to talk to it.
I'm dying.
I'm dying.
That's scary, man.
And she's like, what's up?
I got blood coming on my butt.
She goes, you have a hemorrhoid.
I'm like, you don't know that.
You haven't seen it?
Right, but you were right to be concerned
and you should absolutely go to the doctor
because it could be more than a hemorrhoid.
I wasn't concerned.
I thought I was, I know.
You should be concerned.
Let me get on that will.
I was heading him back up.
Yeah, it was.
crazy, but don't put potatoes in your butt, they're saying.
Okay. For hemorrhoids.
For something else, that's your own business.
But for hemorrhoids. That's the more you know, right?
All right, thank you very much.
Finally hit my goal yesterday. I did 52-week streak on Peloton.
Yeah. One year. Thank you very much.
Awesome. Thank you.
Not a commercial. They don't pay me anything.
You wouldn't do endorsements for them, don't you? Or did you?
I mean, I do something, but I mean, that's not why I have my Peloton because you gave it to me as a gift.
Yeah, so I'm off. I did 52 weeks.
yesterday.
Are you done?
Are you going to keep going?
Do it away.
You're like, never again.
I just throw it out the window.
No.
No.
Yeah, I'll keep going.
It's good because it's just in my house.
Like, I'd rather go a box and go to the gym,
but if I only have 45 minutes, they get on the bike.
But what's weird is, like, I have these instructors I've never met in my life.
And I'm like, I feel like they're my friends.
This Alex Toussaint, he's like, I get on.
And I'm just like, no, and I tagged him in a post,
and he gave me one of those prayer hand things back as an emoji.
And I was like, oh, look, he did this.
are they based out of New York.
New York.
So yeah, I have it too.
It's pretty proud of that because that's a
long-term goal. And like Rod
or boss has one. Kevin Legrette.
Boss in L.A. has one. And so we
get on there and kind of ride against each other. I don't even
know if they're competing with me, but I'm competing with them every
time. I get on and I keep them on
the side and I see where they are.
And I get on this bike and I don't stop.
Like there's no, I don't take the class.
I pick a kind of music and then I get on
and just go as hard as I possibly can for 30 minutes.
So you're not listening to what they're saying, like, go up
Hill.
I listen to Alex Toussaint a little bit because he says motivational things.
And I'm like, I felt that.
But I don't say, no, I don't slow down.
So you just ride hard the entire time?
The whole time.
Do you ever go uphill or downhill?
You don't ever shift anything?
Well, I have to do mind games where I go, I try to keep my output around $250 the whole time on the bike, which is really hard.
And so sometimes I'll crank it away and do it standing up.
And then if I'm like, okay, switch, I'll take the pressure off and the pedal as fast as I can lighter.
But I get on for 30 minutes and it's, it's hell for me on purpose.
because if I can get through that 30 minutes
as hard as I can and get through anything
because the whole time I'm miserable.
There's not, from the second that clock starts,
I am miserable.
What I like to do is have Arkansas basketball
happening at the same time if I can make that happen,
but we're not good right now.
So then I'm just double miserable.
So, but yeah, 52 weeks.
Look at me.
It's awesome.
Very proud of that.
There was a guy named Joseph Oldendorf.
He had to crawl for eight hours
to get to cell phone service
after injuring his leg running.
Speaking of working out.
Joseph Oldendorf, while jogging on a trail
in Washington's Olympic National Park,
he detached his tibia.
Oh, my.
Unable to walk, he dug deep
and ended up dragging himself on his hands and knees,
six miles in freezing temperatures
where he could get closer to a trail
to find signal to call for help.
What honor.
During his crawl, his knees became so raw
he had to put shoes over his kneecaps
to protect them.
He's now recovering hopes to make it back on the trails.
How he felt
crawling for six hours
how I feel every 30 minute ride in my peloton
is miserable and I don't know if I'm going to make it
Probably beg to differ
Yeah he doesn't know me
He doesn't know
I get on this thing
I go as hard as I can go
There's no time on
I don't if I get involved in something
There's no dinking around
It's like if I'm gonna put my time and energy
I go as hard as I can
I enjoy my peloton
Sometimes I hop on
I crank it up to I don't know
3.5 walk
Stroll
Do a full
phone call. Oh, no way. I can't even look at text. Answer emails. I am sweating so hard. I can't
even hold my phone because I'm going so hard. I can't even look at my phone as I'm going. It's time
to go. It's time to go. You never want to like ride a real bike? I did for a while. It's stupid. Who cares
about riding bikes? Only do that thing is I can put in my house. Exercise is stupid. I do it five,
six times a week, but I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't want to do it. If I wish I could
just take a pill. I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it.
All right, here are your biggest three songs in country music at number three, Mirren Morris, The Bones.
Jimmy Allen, make me want to at number two.
And number one is Sam Huntken folks.
I want to introduce you to my kids folks to my own friends.
And the number one pop song is Dua Lipa, don't start now.
Your daughter, listen to this one.
Yeah, they like it.
It's a good one.
She has a bunch of good songs.
I listen to all this.
Don't ask me why.
We know why.
I know love and I know the whole Bieber album and I know Harry Styles and her.
So, all right, those are your big songs right now.
Morgan number two, if people want to hear today's show because we're wrapping it up,
what can they listen back for on the podcast?
We had Anzy Watson from KATV and as a special guest host.
Yeah, and we talked about that show Love is Blind that I'm going to start watching today,
at least get one episode in.
What else is going on?
And Amy's daughter has been doing something at home that she learned from a TV show.
Yeah, which could get you killed.
Yeah.
Murdered, we shall say.
We're going to stop doing what she's doing.
That's it for today.
Ramundo, let's hit me out of here.
Amy, what's going on?
I just have some work stuff today, and then I got him carve out time for Stevenson time, my son.
Like, I think he needs one-on-one time with mom.
And maybe I need to apologize to him for yelling, but I want to make sure he knows that I don't mean it.
I'm just in a hurry sometimes.
and then, oh, we have, I have a friend coming in town
to stay with us, one of our friends.
Why do you say it like that?
It's like my ex-girlfriend for a long time ago.
Amy always acts weird about it.
Well, because now, this is the first time.
Now you have a girlfriend, so I didn't want to, like, make it a thing.
Like, I don't want to make anybody feel uncomfortable.
It's not a thing.
No one feels uncomfortable unless you look at us weird.
Just say you have a friend coming in town.
By the way, this is what happened this morning with Amy and Eddie.
I'm in my office and Amy comes in and it goes,
it's early this morning.
She goes, I just yelled at Stevenson.
I don't know what I'm going to do.
And then I walk in and I see Eddie this morning.
I'm like, Eddie, what up?
He goes, I can't have these kids anymore.
Eddie goes, I got four of them and they're driving me crazy.
It's a rough night last night.
It's a rough day, whole day.
Right.
I don't, yeah.
What about you?
I'm Opry tonight.
Every Tuesday night.
I'm out of the Opry shooting that show.
And by the way, it starts maybe tomorrow.
The network doesn't launch digitally until early this summer.
And in some cities, it's on the air.
ready, but it's a slow rollout for this network called the Circle Network. But you can go to
Circle Network website and type in your zip code. Some cities it's on. Cool. You can just catch it
on your cable, but the full rollout isn't until early this summer. But we shoot the Opry
tonight, which is the show that I'm hosting. So thank you guys. Check out the podcast,
and we will see you back here tomorrow. Uh, goodbye.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plant tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.
