The Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show. Just finished up Monday show. I didn't get to the story. You know who Margot Robbie is? Yes. She has a weirdly specific and random thing that she hates being called. And she hates being called a bombshell.

Oh. I wish somebody would call me a bombshell. Why does she hate that? It sounds like it's a humility thing, but she says, quote, I'm not a bombshell. I'm not someone who walks in a room and the record stops. And people turn to like, look at that woman. People who know me, if they had to sum me up in one word, they would know that's not it. But I'm certain it would not be bombshell.

Is there a word you hate being called? I hate when people call me a DJ. I think it's disrespectful to real DJs, who mix music? I don't know. I'll not do that. Like Dead Mouse. Yeah. Calvin Harris.

Yeah, and what's his name, Zed? Zed. Also, I don't even, DJs also would pick songs back in the day on the radio. Like, I'm brought in to talk. Sometimes I talk about music I like, but, you know, I feel like now DJs are a real thing.

So, and when they're like, and he's a DJ, I'm like, in no way am I. I don't mix music, nor am I a radio DJ. Like, radio DJs would be like the afternoon show is playing like 13 songs an hour and having a talk in between songs. But that's always a weird one for me So what would you want them to call you?

It depends on what I'm doing. Radio personality? That would be what it is. Yeah. I've heard that one before. Well, it's a difference someone who talks for a living and someone who just sits back

and does 13 second intros over songs. Yeah. And there are people who are great radio DJs too. I never was good at it. Because I just wasn't, I didn't have the pipes. What? You can ramp a song like nobody. I didn't have the big voice though.

Because you got to have kind of a cool, deep voice. Like, hey, blah, blah, blah. and have that. So, yeah, that's the deal. I had to work for all of the CMA Fest, which is a lot of fun, though. I did a whole thing with ABC, too. They called me in, and we talked about Dolly.

I guess they're doing a Dolly special. And they were like, what's cool by Dolly Part? And I was like, well, a lot of things. First of all, she wrote the same day. I was just trying to remember stuff. And when I got out, I had fat check myself, thank God. But I was right. And she told us on our show the same day that she wrote,

I will always love you. She wrote Jolene, both by herself. Yeah. Which is crazy. And they're like, well, what do people not know about Dolly that you could tell them? I said, well, I, before I met Dolly the first time, and I've had a good amount of interaction with her since then. I was like, you never want to meet people that you think are awesome because it's hard to live up to that awesomeness. They say don't meet your heroes because I'll only disappoint you.

I was like, but yeah, you should meet Dolly twice because she's that awesome. Because every time I've met her, she's been amazing. And I said there are three people who every time to come in the room, they just, just take the room over and not by them being a big personality, but just by them being awesome, the personality. Who do you think those three are that I said? Garth. One.

Dolly. Two. And then, gosh, I mean, there's others. No, but there's one who it's just like, oh my God, like I get it. Go ahead. Okay. Can I ask if it's male or female? No.

You just have to guess. You're not going to lose your scholarship. I know, but I want to get it right because I got Garth and Dolly. There's no risk involved, Amy. You're good. Okay. Luke Brian. Okay, Eddie.

Who did you do? Yeah, I was going to go Luke. Reba. Okay. I almost went her. Yeah. They don't come in tired. They're coming into a bad mood.

They don't come in. It's Garth, Dolly, and Reba. And you're like, oh, that's why they're legend. That's why they've been able to last for so long. Yeah. I forgot about Reba. It's a good one. There are a lot of good contemporary ones, too.

And also, I get to see a lot of these people a lot, so they're tired sometimes. I only see, like, I've done like six things of Dolly ever. And she's been awesome every time. I would see Luke after he'd get off a flight for 13 hours. Like, because we would work together in California, too. And so, yeah, it looks really good on the air. But I think we're a little more human with each other now. He's like, man, you're, you're tired?

I'd be like, yeah, I'm pretty tired. What times you go and do that show this morning? I was like, dude, I have, you know, 3.30, 4? Man, I just got to have a 16-hour flight. And now I've got to go put on these fancy clothes and judge some American Idol. He goes, I love it, but man, I'm beat. And so, I tell you, being around, I know my impression gets a little better to. Yeah.

I was going to say that. It sounds good. That sounds all right. It's pretty good. That sounds all right. I still haven't heard what my role is, if any, on Idol next season. Oh, really? Nothing is solidified yet. I'm the trickle down.

They got to finish the judges, Ryan, and if all that is, once it's solidified, and they don't have to make a big cut, then I'm assuming they'll say yes or no. Would any of the judges or Ryan step down? No, I don't think so. Is there ever, like, I mean, at some point, right? Oh, I don't know what the negotiations are.

I have no idea what they're doing. I'm not in those negotiations. So, people are asking, because I did a thing with Lane yesterday. Yeah, the winner. Yeah. And he was like, hey, man, you're coming back? And I was like, I don't know, dude. I would hope, I think, maybe, but I haven't heard anything.

So, yeah, that's the latest with that. I saw Dance for the Stars 2 put out an article, and they were like, we hear you loud and clear, fans. What do you hear? They're like, they don't think the judging. The judging and the voting has been the same every year of the show. It's always been half points and half votes. Because we came in and used the system a way differently than anybody else ever had.

They're like, we hear you. Shut up. Yeah, and does the audience not want to vote? That's the best part. That's exactly half of it. Yes. It's like, I would think that they'd want to vote. You would keep the power to keep the power to the people.

But instead, they're trying to make it a freaking dictatorship. Well, why would you do that? because one person came in and switch that's not going to happen every season right at 27 seasons that was the only one that went in and was not that good at one and now and I like tom bergeron but he's like we just left a meeting and we hear you loud it what do you hear that's that the people want less power that's what you hear god they spent a whole meeting on that I don't know but they also had a really cool thing they wrote too where dina cats is like the um the she cast everyone on the show okay and I love her and she cast me way before I'd even signed a deal with ABC

And she was like, you know, the best thing about the show now is putting celebrities on who get to tell their story. And she was like, the best one we had was Bobby. He actually told a story the whole season. That's why he won because of a story. And so she's talking about how they're looking for more people like that. So I guess I took one shot on one side and they got a little love on the other. That's good. But it's like, why would you less power to the people?

Bring the people on. Let them dance. I don't think they're really thinking about it. They're not thinking. They're not thinking about it that way. They're just mad that Juan Pablo didn't win. I got news for you. He finished fifth.

Yeah. Much less second or third. He finished. One, two, three, four, five. Is that your one, Paula? No, that's me counting on my hand. My love finished two. So everybody needs to chill out.

And everybody thinks it's insulting to go, you weren't as good. No crap. That's why I'm much prouder that I won. You knew. Yeah. I knew from the beginning. Anyway, I do love that show.

Now, I can't wait for it to come back. I'm going to go watch the first episode, I guess, if I'm in town. If I'm around, I should, right? Yeah. They invite you. I know, right? They might not let you in.

I don't really get any invites yet from either one of them. Depends on how loudly there. The security's like, sorry, man. They pull out a picture. Like when you go to a gas station, someone's doing a bad check. They're like, huh, sorry, this is you. Yeah, you can't let you. You can't go in.

I had a good weekend. I mean, had a long, fun, busy weekend. I worked every night for like 9,400 hours at CMA. But it was great. And I mean, I'd have so many stories from meeting little Nausex. And I thought he thought I was somebody else. It was a whole. Oh, really?

I'll tell you about it later. Because he was like, wait, aren't you? And I was like, uh, is the whole thing. So I met L'LNazex, had a good Tim, have a good Tim McGrawl story where I got a little nervous. So we got that. I was out there all weekend. And I was out there working. Morgan already was out there watching.

Right? I was. I was out there as a fan all weekend. All four nights. Dang. Dang. I was just crushing it. One hard.

Yeah, and every night she'd be like, let's go out. And every night I got right to that point where I was 50-50. That was going out? Yeah, and I never did. Nice. I know. Each time I was like, oh, I'm once I said I'm going to Dirks's bar and then five minutes. I was like, never mind I'm talking myself out of it.

So it was good. A lot of stuff. First, let me say here that Kelsey Ballerini with the number one song this week. Grats to Kelsey. We hosted the show together all weekend. So. I wanted to recognize that I read this story too from over the weekend

earlier last, it's been like three weeks or so there was a big rock slide in Colorado and this boulder fell in the middle of the road and they had to send people like miles and miles out of the way like an hour extra minimally an hour extra and so I was reading what they were going to do

I followed it and this rock weighs 8.5 million pounds whoa! It's pretty heavy And so they can't, they're not going to move the rock, they're going to move the highway. Really? Instead of taking the rock and butt and they're going to just build the highway around the rock now. I know. I feel like they'll be like back in 2019, this rock.

That rock. Yeah. And the highway got changed. But I mean, then how do they even weigh with the rock? Well. How do they weigh it? Good question. I would imagine they have some instrument that can detect it based on mass. Yeah.

I don't think they pulled out the old scale. Like I have my bathroom and you put it, boing, oh, well, well, I don't. So, but yeah, as it turns out, the biggest rock from the rock slide was 8.5 million pounds or 4,250 tons. And they can't move it, and they don't want to break it up. And so instead of paying the, like, $3 million, they're going to pay $1.5 million to fix the road. Right. And just move it around the rock. Yeah.

Boy, that rock said, hello. This is my house. I live here. I live here. So we're here. We're ready for Monday show. We got a lot. We're going to talk to Tenele Towns coming up, who I did this interview backstage at CMA Fest.

and she had this story about all of her stuff getting stolen. Have you heard this? No. It's pretty wild. So, Tonell Town, who sings this song. She's going to tell a story because she had to go to a fire station. She'd be like, can you help me find my stuff in a park? Because they tracked it on that Apple.

Oh, wow. It's a good story. Coming out, she'll tell us that. But we'll get started right now. Glad everybody's here with us here on Monday. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. Listen to this. Eddie had to bust a window because the baby got stuck in the car.

A real baby? And I don't want to point fingers. His baby. Oh, you're a... Oh, yeah. Oh, no, no. Our baby. Our foster baby.

Our foster baby. Telling me the story. Okay, so we go to our friend's pool and we go to his house and we're all getting out of the car and the baby's still in the car. But my five-year-old is the last one to get to the car. He thinks he's helping and we're like, I'll just lock the door and close the doors with the key still in it. And so we're still saying hi to our friends.

They're like, oh, give us a second. We're going to take the baby out. Doors locked. And our five-year-old's like, nah, I took care of it. I locked it. We're like, oh my gosh, it's like 100 degrees out here and the baby's still in there. So we all start panicking. We're like, well, call the fire department, right? It's the first thing you do. One of the dad's there. He's like, no, no, no, I got it. I got a tool. I'll just break the back window. He's going to break the window. So he just goes, I'm going to break the window. Like,

he's like, that's all we can do. Like, really, what are we? There's nothing else we can do call the fire department. They'll get here in 10 minutes and do it or I'll do it. Okay. I'm going to do it now. So the dad comes up with like this screwdriver and he just pops the back window and it just all shatters. Yes. Like that. And so we crawl in there and we unlock the doors and get the baby out. We're like, oh, well.

Yeah. From the time your kid locked the door until they had to break the window. What was the time? That's about five minutes. All of us discussing, like, what are we? There's like three minutes of panicking. And then one minute of the dad being like, I'll take care of it. And then he gets the tool and pops the window.

And the baby's okay? Baby's fine. Baby's just like, like nothing's going on. But yeah, I mean, what, $300 repair, window repair. We're like, you know what, it's worth it? It's worth doing it. But after everything settled, I was a little, like, I was a little upset.

And I know it was an accident. And the five-year-old... Totally an accident. My poor five-year-old, he cried for like an hour straight. Because... He just felt guilty. Did you make it feel guilty? No.

No, he just saw the broken window and he just felt like he kind of knew that it was his fault and he locked the door. But he cried for a whole hour. And I felt like, you know, buddy, it's okay. It's all right. $300, though. Wow. And were you ever like, maybe we should call the fire department?

Oh, that was the first thing I thought. That's, I mean, I'm not going to. I saw a video once of a guy trying to break a window with a hammer, and he couldn't do it. So I'm like, well, I'm going to look like an idiot in front of all these other dads trying to break the window. Then this other dad came to the rescue. I mean, maybe he's a car thief or something. He's like, no problem. He's like, there we go.

Get the baby out. Was the party over? No, that was the start of the party. What about when it rained all weekend? So we did tape it with plastic. All the dads got together. We did a little duct tape in trash bags and we covered it. It was like that for a day until we can get it fixed.

Eddie has two foster kids. He has his two children. He's fostering two children as well. Any update there? Oh, everything's just going great. It is. Yes, everything's good. As far as, you know, where we are with their biological parents, we're just sitting

and waiting, really no update on that. So we're just doing our roll bones. I mean. Waiting on what? On, they have court, their biological parents have court issues that they do, that they, they go visit the judge and the judge sees their, their improvements and how they're doing and see if they're ever going to get their kids back. Wow. So we just kind of wait on that in the meantime. I mean, these kids are just part of our family.

Everyone gets along. The little kids are like, they act like brothers, they play like brothers, they fight like brothers. They lock each other in the car. They lock each other in the car. So how does your wife feel, because we're going on tour July through December, the raging idiots are? Yeah. How does she feel that you're going to be gone for two and three days? Like she mentions it, you know, like maybe once every three days.

You know, like, we'll have a rough day and she'll just say like, man, I can't believe you're going to like take off some of these weekends. And I'll be like, yeah, but they'll be short. Like, I'll be back on Sunday. And so we just kind of, you know, this is what I do. She knows that. And then when we decided to foster, we knew we were going to have to do this. And so we're just going to, we're going to roll with it.

In Dallas, one person died, six others were injured after wind gusts caused a crane to collapse on an apartment building. And finally in the Stanley Cup finals, Boston beat St. Louis 5 to 1, so the series is tied three games apiece. I've been single for about two years now. Man, it feels like yesterday. I had a girlfriend. It's been two years. And the discussion is, you know, what kind of girl do I want to date? What kind of job? What's the age parameters?

All that, right? Yeah. What do you think? What kind of career should the girl that I get? Busy. She should also be busy? Yeah. Successful, busy. Something like that. Something that keeps her busy because you're going to be busy.

So she needs to not be waiting around. Or flexible. She needs a career that's flexible so she can go with you to do whatever you're doing. That's super cool. And you should invite her in case you're thinking about not. I will. If I ever find her, I'll invite her. That's our next song.

So, okay. And what do you think the age range is? I'm 39. Give me low and high. Okay, low is 26. Okay. High is 42. Okay.

I asked the age question because Dennis Quaid is 65. What do you think his low is? 20. His new girlfriend's 26. Oh. Yeah. That's what you said, Amy. Yeah, for me.

Wow. But for him, he's younger. Dennis Quaid has a new girlfriend. Her name is Laura. She attends the University of Texas Business School. He just turns six. 65, she's 26. His oldest child is 27.

Oh, boy. So she is younger than his kid. That's not awkward for the kid at all. The graduate students' Instagram, while private, somebody got in there and has several pictures of her and the 65-year-old actor, whom she claimed to love in one of the posts and while they're kissing. Anyway, she's never been happier and good for them. Love has no age, is what I say. Oh, yeah.

Surely you have, what's your range? About yours. Okay. Yeah. You know, I don't think love has a real number, except for in that range. Except for in that range. Yeah, it has no number except for in that range right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Bobby Bones. All right, with Teneal Towns backstage. So I was watching your Instagram and you were playing at a fire station because you're still. Your stuff had been stolen earlier that day. Yes. Okay, so what happened, first of all?

Okay, so we're in our rental car in San Francisco, and we went for lunch, and we came back, the window was smashed, backpacks were gone, and we were really sad, but then we got this GPS notification that told us where the laptop was, had been opened. So you tracked it, like you did that, like, the track Apple, right? And then we were on this mad mission, because we were, like, laptops were replaceable, but there was some personal stuff in there that we were like, maybe they just, like, threw it to the side, so we were going to go back for that. And so we go to this sketchy park

They totally... They were like, you stay here, we're safe, we'll go look for your stuff. And they looked forever And they couldn't find anything. But then they came back And they had a guitar randomly sitting in the fire station And so I was like, could I play a song

to thank you for your amazing efforts. And so I played them song, we hung out, and they let me try on a fireman jacket, which was really cool. And then we went on our way, and it just, like, was this great story of them just making our day so much brighter. But then people in San Francisco found our stuff.

Well, how do they find your stuff? It was dropped in someone's driveway. And so the people who were, like, four cars down from us, also got broken into, and they're in Cincinnati. And so the people in San Francisco sent all the stuff to Cincinnati, and then Cincinnati,

Found a couple of our things and sent it to Nashville. And then three days later, we played Cincinnati. So I was like, you guys need to come to the show so we can hang out. And I got to personally thank them. Yeah, we were hanging out backstage. It was awesome. Lifetime movie. It was.

What is that? I don't know what happened, but it was awesome. What did they end up taking, though, in keeping out of your bags? Anything? Electronics, all that stuff. Anything they could, like, pawn or sell real quick. Yeah. But you got back to personal stuff.

And there was no rhyme or reason. It was not a planned thing. And then he kind of got high on sobriety. And that became an adrenaline thing. And then, you know, his journey is continued. He started working out. And I don't really notice whether he bolts up a little more. he's a little skinnier.

I mean, I don't tend to notice those fluctuations. I do. Yeah, he's big. I see him on Instagram. He's jacked. Yeah. So that's Walker Hayes' wife. It was on the show last week, but it's a really good podcast.

And it gets real serious, too. Lanny got serious. Talked about how the baby her and Walker lost last year and how during labor it got really bad. I mean, I think his head is just spinning. Like, he's like, wait, what? You know, I just lost my baby. And what do you mean? You're doing everything.

It's time for the good news with Amy. Tell me something good. So this woman was paddleboarding in the ocean, and luckily she had on her Apple Watch because she got out of control, like when the wind started blowing, and she was able to use her Apple Watch to call 911. And it connected her. Yeah, in the water. And I was like, I don't take mine in the water. But luckily she, maybe hers is a special and it's waterproof. I think most of them are waterproof.

Oh, they are? Oh, good to know. Like phones, I think are waterproof. Listen, I don't test it. Oh, yeah. I know. I take mine off. But yeah, good for her.

That's crazy. But yeah, it was able to connect her with, you know, 911, get her help. And then they were able to locate her several hundred yards away from shore. But she survived, no injuries, all good. But had she not had to watch? Ooh, could have been big trouble. 911, which emergency? Well, I've been washed out.

Where exactly are you? I think I'm at the corner of starfish and squid. Did you just think of that? Or did you know my story ahead of time? I did not know your story. I know you didn't. That was quick. Oh.

It wasn't even that good. I thought it was. But also, to be fair, I'm conditioned. Like, this has been my career is, like, coming up with things and 83%. Sometimes I miss. But that's sort of what this TED talk was about, is that you can actually, like, you can work on your humor, you know? Like, and it just helps with life overall.

Like, I enjoyed the talk, actually. He's like, it just makes life better. You're, like, a better person to be around. You're a better person at work. You're a better person at parties. Like, you know how to tell stories and, like, kind of add a little flare. Oh, I'll take. Give me a minute.

I turned it on yesterday in my room and it was before I went out to the CMA Fest. and I was just my underwear I knew it because I don't wear anything else in my house and so I'm watching the tutorial and he's in front

of a trailer and he's like all right this is step one it's like four steps and then you listen for the rest but yeah now take your left hand and put it on your side it's called the get up G-I-T up

when the hook comes around you'll know it again though this next part's my favorite part of this time is shot gonna do the two steps That's the part you get up on your heels. I've been practicing that. Anyway, that's why I did this weekend.

I like it. I'll tell you my little Nizek story coming up in a second. I met him, the Old Town Road guy. And in this bit, I'll tell you about it. This one kid who had nonverbal autism, he didn't speak at all, but all they did was play this at the house all the time. And he sang it. Oh, wow.

She wrote, we had an Old Town Road miracle at my house. My son Daniel has autism and doesn't talk. She went on to say that he was humming, and they were like, wow. And then he started singing this. His therapist had started to include the song in their session because it was played at home all the time. She was making it comfortable. The mom said at first I thought I was hallucinating. When I realized it was really happening, I started screaming.

She goes, but then I stopped because loud noises to him freak him out. So she took out her phone. captured on video before like putting her phone down. But here's the kid singing Old Town Road. It's a little town road. Crazy, huh? Wow.

It's amazing. Yeah, it is cool. I got a message. We were at CMA Fest and it was like, hey, Lil Naz-X wants to come say hello. And I was like, all right, they already played. And so, Dirk Spinley and I were sharing a dressing room, and we're back there talking, and a little Nazex walks in and he's in this big orange suit, like a Wrangler orange suit

with a white t-shirt underneath it and a cowboy hat. And he's looking at me like, hey, are you? Are you? And I'm, and I don't think, I'm thinking he's confusing me with somebody else. And I'm like, am I who? Ryan Gosling? I make a joke like that. And he goes, no.

He goes, you're the guy that wanted a Good Morning America, like the first week my song was out. and were sticking up for me. And I was like, I forgot about that. Yeah, that's right. That was so long ago that I'd even forgotten about that. And by the way, I didn't go up there just to do that segment. I was up for another segment that day. And they were like, hey, well, you talk about this brand new song that came out.

And so I went on and he remembered that. And I was like, dude, that's crazy. Yeah. But he was super nice, young. He's like 21. Really? Whatever he is. He's young.

He's young. And like, that's his song. And he gets paid a bunch of money to go play one song right now. But it's the biggest song in a long time. He's 20. Yeah. Was he cool? Yeah, it's real nice.

Derks and I talked him for a while. Really? Yeah. There's a picture on my Instagram of me, Derks, and Lil Nas X. He said, what's up? We talked for a bit, and then he left, and I went back out and did some more TV stuff.

But it was funny because I was watching everybody in the background of the pictures, all with their eyes wide open. Like, I can't believe that Lil Nas X is here. Bobby bones. What side of the bed do you sleep on? Left. Yeah, me too.

Why? I don't know. That's just the side I've always. always been on, and my husband's always on the right. So because you picked the left, he just goes, I'm going to take the right. I don't know who picked it first, but that's just the way it is. It's interesting. I would have to ask him, why do we do that?

But it's been years and years, so I couldn't even tell you. Why do you pick the left? Because it's the closest to the door, and I sleep alone. Oh. So I just walk in and fall down the closest spot. Yeah, so according to a new survey, those who choose sleep on the left side of the bed tend to enjoy things like dramas and oldies music. Oh. Those who sleep on the right side of the bed tend to prefer rock music and action flicks.

40% of the people chose their side of the bed because it's the one that makes it easier to leave the bed. You know, that's probably my thing. It's easier to fall in and get out. 31% sleep on their side because their partner prefers the other one. Ask your husband, what's up? Do you always sleep on the same side? Yes, I'm always on the left. Like, that's my nightstand.

I guess, yeah, when you're in the bed, I'm talking about when you're in the bed, I'm on the left side. Yeah. Yeah, me too. Yeah, that's me. My nightstand, my lamp, all my things, on my books. That's my side. But did you fall into it immediately? You know, when you say, because, I mean, for you, it makes sense when you're alone.

Like, right when you walk in and just pop them on the bed. And so for the beginning of our marriage, like, my husband was deployed, like, for years, half of the year he was overseas. So that probably is why I just, that became my side of the bed. For the same reason that it's my side of the bed. I'm guessing now that you say that. I'm also alone now because you were alone for a while. Over the weekend, I was out and we were shooting CMA Fest for ABC, which airs in August. And so I go and most of the stuff, we're out there and we're shooting.

And if you mess up, we just reshoot it. But there was one shot. And it was a Tim McGraw shot. And so they were like, okay, we get one shot at this because there's a. a camera and it swoops. And they put me in the middle of the whole stadium. And they're like, you can't mess up. The camera swooping, the people are turned around.

And as soon as you're done, Tim McGraw's intro to truck, yeah, starts. Oh, boy. They're like, you can't even flub a word. And it was the longest. And I had written a joke in it, too, not knowing. Oh, no. Not knowing that it was like a hype up segment that I put a joke in and that there was no option.

So the whole thing was like, we haven't seen this guy at CMA Festin a while. he's back, we couldn't be more excited he's got 16 number one albums, 42 number one singles, and even more abs than that. And so that was the thing I switched again. I said, but the crowd's all screaming behind you. And I'm like, and here he is, Tim McGraw.

And then it's like, and so right before it's up, I'm a bit nervous because they come to me last minute and go, by the way, do you just have the first part memorized because we can't get the camera to you with the prompter on top of it in time? And so I'm like, now you want me to do. I can't mess up.

I got to have it memorized. That's why you know the number is so perfectly. Oh, right now, you don't think I'll burn that into my brain? I mean, hard. But I went out. That's funny. I don't know. But my little heart rate.

Oh, boy. A little bit, because there was just wasn't an option. And in the middle of it, I started thinking, oh, boy, when if I'm going to get through this? Like, I actually had the wherever thought of it. Oh, while you're doing it. Yeah. Which is a good sign, though, because it means it slowed down for me.

Like, but it was super live and I saw that camera swooping. And I was like, oh. Oh boy. And I nailed it. And I was like, and here he is, Tim McGrath. And I was pretty proud of myself. Yeah. I saw Tim and Faith.

I talked to them for a while backstage, too. Oh, nice. Faith is so nice. And our dressings are next to each other. And so I went over and I don't know Faith was over there. But I saw Tim and he's like, hey, man, have my book yet? And I was like, I haven't. Because he wrote this big music and American history and music book.

Yeah. And it's like, I haven't read yet. He goes, well, and somehow. Like he pulled one of his butt or something. And he hands me this big old book. He's like, here. Have you a copy. And I was like, great.

And so Amy and I are going to New York tonight. You're going with me, right? Yeah. Tonight. And he's doing his first show in New York, so I'm going to go. That's awesome. And I was like, all right. He's like, come.

So I'm going to go watch him tonight. But that was fun. I get a text on Saturday from Dirk's going, hey, I don't have a dressing room. Can I share yours? Wait, what? That's weird. Why wouldn't he have one?

Well, I think they were going to put him a small one. Oh. And his whole band was there. He kind of rolls in a room with his band. And I have the biggest one come there four days. I was there all four days shooting for ABC. And he was like, can I share your room with you? And I was like, of course.

So I get there and he's taken over the room. Not only, I had like one little, I had like three pieces of clothes. He has a full closet wrapped around the room. He has pictures of himself up everywhere. Stop it. Wait, what? Why? In the clothes so he knows how to put it on?

No, no, no. Pictures of him. him just set as in the room, like them playing shows and stuff. Wait, we need to ask him why one day. I think that's what his people come in and do for him. Every dressing room he goes on his tour. So it just went over and took over the dressing room. I know, but I mean, honestly, if we were, yeah, I'm intrigued by that.

Like, if there was ever a time where Bobby was like, we walked into his dressing room, there was pictures of Bobby everywhere, I'd be like, okay, what's happening? I think it just for the vibe, because it was like a picture of him and the band. Oh, yeah. There was one picture of just him. Oh, okay. I was searching like a shrine. But that was fun, except he took over the whole. And I was like, so we did a bit on TV about it.

I was like, hey, I'm glad I could help, you know, loan you part of my dressing room. But it's all dirks everywhere. And so that was good. Met Lowell Nazek. He had, I think, two grills in? Or are those just teeth? What kind of grill? Like gold, diamonds.

Wow. Real? Probably. I would imagine what the money he's making. Man. came out and played. They did the one song, Billy Ray, Lil Nas X, and Keith Urban played banjo. And that's from Riot on the stage. So you're hearing like the banjo hit. Yeah, that was

fun, man. Spent four nights. And that's been a four nights working. Morgan number two went and watched for four nights. Like, was like hardcore fan. Who was your favorite act that you saw over the weekend? It was probably Luke Combs. Like he came out and just dominated. I've never seen him do that before. That guy goes hard. Long neck eyes cold beer Never broke my heart And that song only been out a few weeks And the whole stadium was singing it

little bit. Yeah. I saw you post about him on your Instagram. Eddie, it's been four nights. And I've been in the same clothes every night. I was in your dressing room too. Eddie, you should be like, yeah, dude. Oh, that's right. You're like, were you? I don't know, man. I'm a little bit fried from all that. Yeah. No, the way they were moving you is crazy. Just like, he'd sit down for like two minutes and be like, oh, got to go. And I was wearing the same clothes because it's one three hour special that they've taken from four nights. And so it's same clothes. It's supposed to look like one, one continuous show. And so because of that, it's all a blur because what I was wearing was the same the whole time.

Yeah. So it's all like... Right. There's no way for you to differentiate what day it was. So, there you go. It's okay. I forgive you. Thank you.

You were there? You really came and hung out? Yeah, dude, we hung out. You told me you loved me. Good times. Tell me how was your best friend? Oh, no. You remember that?

There's a natural best friend to add even... Bobby Boneshow. All right, the question is how many times does the average person fall in love? Amy, you said... Three. Morgan number two, you said... Two. Okay.

Amy, how many times have you fallen in love? Three. That's why I pick three. Is that Morgan number two, the same with you? Yep, that's the same with me. Scientists say that the average person falls in love approximately seven times before marriage. And I guess the seven time would be the one you get married to. Seven times.

Yeah. Hopefully. So falling in love, that's the giddy feeling. That's not love because there's love for just friends. But falling in love is like the movies. Yeah. When you're like, what does falling in love feel like, Eddie? Oh, it's the butterflies, man.

It's like everything in your chest feels full just when you're looking at that person. Like, just when you see that person and you feel that way, you're like, oh, I'm in love. Yeah, I haven't had like cartoon love. Like Sylvester the cat with the pool of the big heart. That's what I'm talking about. But that's just on me. There's some kind of wall that's been blocking that. Like, oh, I can't get too much into this.

But I haven't had that giddiness. Ooh, you just feel like an idiot, too. You just feel like, I mean, I can get scammed right now. If anyone says, pay me this much money for anything, you just give them the money because you're that dumb. Really? Yeah. You get loved dumb. Oh, yeah.

Were you loved dumb with your husband? I don't know that I was loved dumb, but I mean, yeah, you do have this feeling of like, and like the butterfly feeling too. Like if you're, well, I started thinking some people don't even kiss before they get married. But like, most people kiss for 90 hours. I know. But like, if you're kissing and like your stomach like drops, like, you ever have, you've never had that feeling when you're kissing, like a. like a, like your stomach drop? I've been like, wow, this girl's way too hot to kiss me.

Almost like your breath is taken away. Never, no. Never? Okay, well, then, yeah, maybe you haven't been in love. Dang. I've loved people, but I don't think I've ever been in love. No? Never met anyone that just like, I was like, oh my God.

Oh, man. That's how I would describe it. You're missing out. Yeah. Morgan number two, you had that? Were you just like... But I'm not like, take my money. That's like how I am in relationships.

Like, that's what I expect and that's what I hope for. I just like look for that. And if I don't get butterflies and I'm not happy, then... I think I run from that. I'm like, oh, I got butterflies. I think she gave me the stomach flu. I need to get out of here. But you can be nervous in the beginning or get butterflies in the beginning, but it may not.

I'm just shocked Bobby even in the beginning. Like, it's not like love, but you haven't had like butterflies. Well, sure, when you meet somebody that you like, that's always fun and exciting. But I've never been what they say in love. I've had butterflies before. But mostly it's like, I wonder when she's going to break up with me. That's not good. I'm nervous butterline.

At pulling this little cataract out That we weren't able to reach Because of it And they did No way And the dude can see again After 14 years of being blind That's amazing

Isn't that wild Can you imagine how great that would be He's able to see a son-along grandchildren for the first time ever. He's also got his driver's license back, and he took a trip to California that he's dreamed up for a long time. Yeah, love it. And hopefully, when I read this, what I root for him to do is see John Wick 3,

because that is fantastic. So I hope he's, you know, he does some real good things with that. But that's really a cool story, and that's science, man. Love it. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones. Police are saying, hey, everybody with the gun-shaped cell phone cases, chill out with them.

Oh, yeah. That can be very confusing. I can't think of a worse shaped cell phone case. No, that's horrible. The one that looks like a gun because everyone's going to freak out. Because what it is, it's like a cell phone case. Like, and half of the phone is the barrel of the gun. Whoa, that looks real.

It looks very real. It's basically like a cell phone sticking out of a gun. But police are saying, hey, stop because we think they're guns. Yeah. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Illinois Conservation, police officer discovered a cell phone charging case during a traffic stop that was one of those. The subject, the suspect was carrying in their wristband, and the officer mistook it as a real gun. The officer did not know was actually a phone case until the suspect was arrested.

And yeah, that's just dangerous anyway. When you're pulling out to get that quick selfie, someone says you're pulling it out. It's like my husband's clone that looks like a grenade. He can't travel with that. Yeah, you can go to the airport with your clone, your pocket. That's right. Spice Bomb, can't do it. That's his clone.

It's called Spice Bomb. Is he 11? Oh my gosh, it's so good. Ray, Ray Mundo. It's one of the best. It's Spice bomb good? So good. Okay. Don't hate.

But it does like a grenade, like probably. If you were to have it in your dog. And the word spice bomb? Like basically if you were going through security and they were like, excuse me, is this, what is this grenade? No, no, no, that's my spice bomb. It's all bad. No, it's legit.

It's not cheap. It's so good. Oh, yeah. It does look a grenade. Mm-hmm. The question is, how long is a bad mood? last, according to scientists. Amy, your guess is? A day. A whole day. Yeah.

A bad mood has the lifespan of seven to ten hours. Oh, gosh. So that's how long you're awake. Or interacting with people. Wait, what? Longer. Amy. Sorry, that's how long you're asleep. But, I mean, interacting with people maybe. I would say my bad mood is about four hours if I'm in one. I can shake mine pretty good. How do you shake it? Because I realize I'm in it. Your whole life is self-awareness. Our whole life is is realizing where we're good

and where we're not and adjusting to it accordingly. When I was doing this, Blanco Brown dance at home, get up. There were certain moves that I just couldn't do, so I was like, you know what? I'm not going to try to do this hard move.

I can actually do a move as better for me. But I think a lot of times in our life, if we know one of my friends is a comedian. Have I told this story? I have no idea. She was like, she was editing a special. Her special is coming out.

And she was like, I know that I'm going to break down four or five times editing this special because she's, spent a year preparing for it. She's going to look at herself and think it's not good enough. And I say, hey, if you know you're going to break down four or five times walking into it,

the best thing you can do, the best tool you have about yourself is knowing yourself. So if you know you're going to break down four or five times, give yourself those four or five times before you start to go, oh, I'm a real wreck. Like you know you're going to break down four times. Okay, first time you break down, you go, you know what? I still have a lot of value in me. This is normal for me. So I'm going to live within what I normally do.

And knowing yourself is the best way to actually combat those bad practices. And so for me, when I start to go, oh, I'm in a bad mood, I can, and then go, okay, what about me is not normal? And then I can fix it most of the time. And then I wake up in the morning, you know what I do sometimes? I go, all right, am I going to have a good day today? Yes or yes. And then I pick one, and then I move forward. Yeah, and they have to be yes.

The answer has to be yes. But, yeah, mine's about four hours. Do you want to be in a good mood? Amid right now? Yeah. What are you going to do? I'm going to show you a video on my phone. Okay.

One of my friends, they have a dog and the dog had puppies. And he's like, do you want one of these puppies? Oh, you got a dog? No, not yet. Oh, that's how you were telling us. I was like, okay. I'm going to show you that it's a bulldog. Mm-hmm.

And he's like, you can have one of the puppies if you want it. We're, you know, trying to find good homes for them. Look at that dog right there. Oh my gosh. So cute. Oh. Okay, yeah, that's legit. Is that going to be your dog?

I don't know. Oh. I don't know. There's a lot with bulldogs. Yeah. One of my friends has had one for a couple years, too, and he's like, hey, it's high maintenance, but they're chill dogs. Is this a regular English bulldog or what is?

Yeah. Okay. Those are cool. Yeah. So it needs a home. I'm happy to give it one. We'll see how I go. It's not even free until like, because it's such a baby until like the 23rd or 24th of this month.

Oh my gosh. I know, right? I want to hold it. I know. It's so little. So cute. So anyway, I'm a little closer. I think getting a dog.

I wish I would have had this mindset 10 years ago That probably wouldn't be where I am now it doesn't matter. Go up and get rejected. Who cares? Let you know. Now, like I said, I'll DM anybody.

I'll go say what up to anybody. It doesn't matter. It doesn't like burn it all though a little bit. Oh yeah, but no, no. Here's the thing. It always stinks to get rejected. But when it happens a lot, it just you realize it doesn't matter.

The rejection doesn't matter. It doesn't hang on to you. The next day you're not like, oh. It happens. It's like a shot. Sometimes you have to get shots. And it sucks. But you're happy after it's over

because you had to do what you had to do. But what if the rejection happens and I see him every day still at the gym. Who cares? He won't think much about it. He'll be like, man, that makes me feel good. A cute girl came up and said, what up? If I wasn't married, I probably like... Yeah, and the rejection's going to be, I'm married. Sorry, that's not like a bad thing. He doesn't have a ring. I do know that. I know that far. Yeah, because he's not going to go. Oh, you want to know, you're ugly.

Yeah, I would, but you're ugly. Now, that would happen to me, but not for her. That's true. So, how does she do it, though? How does she go up and... Okay, well, it depends what you do? What's his mode of, like, working out? Where does he do it? I mean, we're at Planet Fitness, and he'll be on, like, stair stepper, and then he'll go do, like, wait's and then he'll go over to him on the weights and be like, hey, I don't ever do, I'm just wondering how to do weights. How much should I do for curls? I just ask him that.

Ooh, yeah. And he'll be like, hey, who cares? The question that you're really not asking. Yeah. Because he'd be like, I don't really do a lot of curls, but like, what's, what? Why are they called dumbbells? Are they dumb? Oh, I know.

Why don't you ask him for a spot? No. Spot me. Unless you can go crazy and be like, I want to do squats. No, you don't do that. Just to be... But listen, and if no guy ever gets upset if a pretty girl comes up to them and says anything,

it doesn't matter if they're married or not, ever. Okay. You're in the... Just do it. How old is it you think? I mean, maybe like late 20s, early 30s? She wrote it on there. She was like, what do I see me to jump five times?
