Starting point is 00:02:55 We're going to keep going. Some of the days that I'm working out of town, we don't get to the post show pre-show. Mostly it's because it's way earlier there, or mostly it's because I'm out of town for a specific reason and I got to get to that specific reason. So if that happens, I think, I don't think we did it do one yesterday.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Do we post-show pre-show? So I apologize if it doesn't happen, but we're here today. I saw maybe on your Instagram, maybe that your husband got a truck back. Yeah, finally. I literally haven't seen that truck in seven years. That's pre-eddie.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Wow. What's so special about this truck? when your husband was serving, he found it? Okay, so when he was stationed in England, he got an opportunity, a guy that was in the Air Force with him, was like, hey, I got stationed back in the United States, but this truck I have isn't old enough
Starting point is 00:03:40 to take back with me. If you want to bring a truck back over from England without being charged stuff, if it's an antique, like 25 years or older, you're good to go. Well, it was like 24 years old. So my husband got to buy it off of him for like $1,000.
Starting point is 00:03:53 And this kind of car is worth, like, a way more than that. It's a 1988, one Land Rover. Oh, that's cool. The boxed out ones? Yes, and it's British, so the steering wheel is on the right. And it's, it was, when we first got it, it was painted camo and it has benches in the back because military people would sit there.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Anyway, it's super cool. So my husband got a great deal. And then by the time he left England to come be at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, it hit the 25 year mark. So he got to bring it back. No problem. So we fixed it up. We put money into it.
Starting point is 00:04:23 It was like really cool and great. But we had it at this Land Rover dude that was working on. in Wilmington, North Carolina, and he was doing shady stuff with importing and exporting parts illegally. And he got raided by the FBI, and the truck was seized by Homeland Security, like, because ours was on his... And so then it, like, sat at Homeland Security for, like, five years. We had to fight to get it back.
Starting point is 00:04:46 We finally got it back, and then it was being worked on elsewhere because it had been sitting still, like a truck like that, you can't just sit it there for five years. And anyway, so my husband drove to Asheville, picked it up. brought it back the other day on a trailer because we've got to get it registered in North here in Tennessee and yeah we have it and my son just thinks it's super cool they're bonding over it but for a while I guess we thought we'd sell it because we were like okay clearly this is dumb and we could actually make money off of it but now that we have it back in the driveway I'm like this thing's sweet we're keeping it yeah look cool on your instatory
Starting point is 00:05:18 yeah but it's just crazy that it got it was part of an FBI raid yeah before we moved here that was a story and it was like our truck just got taken like it's being fixed and we'll never see it again. Wow. Yeah, we literally didn't know if we would see it again. And all that money we've been into it, we were like, okay, poof gone. Because now it's like white, tires, black rims. Is the steering wheel still on the right side?
Starting point is 00:05:38 Yeah. Can you drive a bit like right here? You just have to have it special to get like the tags. No. No, it's still, yeah, so yeah, we can take everybody for a ride. We all want to go somewhere. Is that even a thing anymore? Like, hey, take me for a ride.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I want to see all this car. Yeah, I took someone for a ride on my Jeep the other day because they hadn't been in a Jeep. Nata, who used to be on the show, she already messaged. She was like, I need for y'all to come by and take me on a ride in that. Like, I guess people... I guess I would just rather drive it than ride. I get cars to car.
Starting point is 00:06:08 You do shift. Can I drive a standard? Yes. Okay, well, then you could drive it. It probably would be cool to drive it. I was driving somewhere I was like 12. Well, I can't. Let's not compare us in every part of our life.
Starting point is 00:06:22 You're good at some things. I'm good at some things. Okay. So he's a different person. Yeah, I was driving a stick at like 12. I had to because I had to navigate around the deer woods. Yeah. So, you know, my state would be like, all right, and I was new to him.
Starting point is 00:06:33 And he'd be like, all right, and I'm going to go here, you know, drive a few miles this way, take a left to the tree, right at the beaver. And then I meet you. Ask him. Yeah, so I just get, so I just get in his old Toyota. I had to learn. But, yeah, I'll tell you one thing. Growing up without a dad for most of my life, the one cool thing was I got one right about the time. A stepdad one's about time to learn how to drive. He was super patient with teaching me how to drive.
Starting point is 00:06:55 But he told me I drive on a stick because he was, if you can drive on a stick, you can drive on anything. So we went, I think I tore out two clutches. Blind! It burned him. Ah! My sister's car was supposed to be my hand-me-down car. Like when I turned 16, I was supposed to get hers, but it was standard.
Starting point is 00:07:11 And my dad took me to a parking lot, and he was like, you know, this is not going to work. He mailed it in. He just was like, you know what? We'll sell this. We need to get you an automatic. I guess Taylor Swift releases whatever that is on Friday. Do we know what it is? Oh, we don't even know if it's music?
Starting point is 00:07:26 No, we don't know if it's an album, a song, an engagement announcement. Wow. What's our theories here? They're saying maybe song and a tour announcement? Song and tour. I mean, that's what everyone expects, right? Yeah, but again. The majority would expect that.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I would have expected a record. Yeah. You'd drop a whole record. But the planning calendar for Taylor Swift, I'm reading a story here, is crowded through next year. This Friday, she's expected to release a new single, so it could be the first. first new song on a long time. Taylor has teased it for weeks. Last night in the New York City Time 100 gala, she avoided spoilers. Her official website, the countdown is on one day and several hours. At this point, is it still, yeah, it's still the same, huh? We're told that Republic's promo
Starting point is 00:08:11 staff, her label, has begun playing a portion of Taylor Swift's forthcoming new single to PDs and MD, which are program directors and music directors, but they must listen to a track on headphones via device that never leaves possession of the label team. No. So it can't get leaked. They must sign a non-disclosure agreement and joining them not to only keep from discussing it but deny its existence as well.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Wow. In any case, Taylor Swift is doing something on 426 and we know nothing. So she'll have a new song. Do you know anyone who's heard it? Any of the PDs? They can't confirm or deny if they've ever... Oh, they can't even tell you if they heard it?
Starting point is 00:08:47 Isn't that what that just said? Yeah. I mean, people still do. I don't know anything about it. I've been really checking. out for the past couple of months, even about music here. It's just, like, I'm a little bit. Like, Mike D and I will go through and pick the songs for the female show.
Starting point is 00:09:04 And I'll listen to a lot of new music there, but I used to really dedicate my life to make sure I was covering everything. Now I just have too many jobs. I can't wait. I'm ready for a vacation. I hit a wall. You've never said that before. That's a big deal.
Starting point is 00:09:16 I hit a wall. Yeah, but what sucks is I'm like, I'm still alone. And then what I go do by myself? Yeah. And I take a nap? At home, then I'm like, all right, I'm ready to go again. But you're taking those trips by yourself. Yeah, I'm over it.
Starting point is 00:09:27 I'm trying to go, but I'm going to give me a hooker. What? Stop, no you're not. You can come on vacation with us. What? Just like, come, you want to come to Colorado? No, no, no, no. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:09:39 I'm good. Colorado, man, Rocky Mountain High. Yeah. I'm all right. I'm yawning, though, so I's about the wrap of this. I think, had another point I was going to make about something. Oh, I had a while I was shooting idol promos for this next week, where they're doing duet.
Starting point is 00:09:53 They're doing two parts of this show. And some of these idol shows don't get used that much and some might get used a lot. And so you just, you don't know, you just show up and it's a live show. So times even when they plan to use you a lot
Starting point is 00:10:05 if somebody goes over. Oh, you might get cut. You might get cut because the things that have to run are the performances. Like there are legal things that have to run. The performances.
Starting point is 00:10:13 And Ryan's saying, you can vote at this number because it all has to be equal. If I feature anyone on my Instagram, I have to feature everyone now because there's money involved and there's human vote.
Starting point is 00:10:24 So I don't put any of the contestants up on my Instagram anymore of their performances. At least I hadn't when they were 10. There are eight now. Probably won't put all eight of them up this week. I don't know how many they're cutting this week. But if it gets like to three or something, I might again. But yeah, it gets hard course.
Starting point is 00:10:38 So sometimes they get cut on the show because they're just out of time. Like, they'll cut the judges talking and be like, guys, we have time. Like, we got a roll. But that being said, it's double this week. It's Queen's Songs, Adam Lambert. And then it's me. I've, the couple,
Starting point is 00:10:53 they're matched up in duos and they're singing songs from movies. And I'm not sure what everybody's doing yet but I saw some of the list of songs. Like,
Starting point is 00:11:00 you know the song I danced to on Dancing with the Stars from the greatest showman? Oh. No, the other one, the first one. Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:09 A million dreams. Oh, yeah. A million dreams. I want a kid. I think a couple of them may be doing that. Simon and Garfunkel from the graduate.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Couple of them were doing that. Mrs. Robinson? Yeah. That was an option and so was the sound, The Sounds of Silence, which I'm not sure. That could be from any movie. That movie, that, whatever movie,
Starting point is 00:11:25 there's a lot of Simon Garfield songs. I've never seen the graduate. Yeah, it's pretty good, actually. But I was shooting a promo, my point was, and I just was like, guys, I can't even think straight. Like, I'm so tired, I can't even think straight. It's just a traveling more than anything. But I love it, and I love all the people out there.
Starting point is 00:11:42 I just wish they would do that show closer. Can I get them to move? Closer to you? Can you just, like, do it outside of my house? In Chattanooga? Because I'm flying back and forth to Los Angeles every week. And it's just like, oh. But I do love it.
Starting point is 00:11:55 And I got a couple other big things coming up soon. Oh. Which are pretty cool. What's up? Like what? Well, the NFL draft tomorrow. Oh, right, right. Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:06 And Friday. And then it's something else. Dude, you're on TV a lot. That's pretty cool. Wait, are you trying to tease something that you tease on Instagram too? I'm not trying to tease anything. I'm saying I've got a bunch of stuff coming up. I got like a bigillion questions after you put up that picture, that boomerang.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Of what? With you in the Rose. You're a promo shoot. Yeah. That was literally... Just another day at ABC and it's like with a rose. I'm like, oh, shut up. Like when any of my friends or anybody ask me about it, I literally just rolled my eyes.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I was like, I don't know. When they ask you what? Is Bobby going to be the next Bachelor? What if I was doing a flower commercial for like 100 flowers? Okay. Because probably weren't. I mean, anyway. Green screen, Rose, ABC.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Literally, this is my answer. I roll. Even on text, I roll emoji. If I saw them in person, I roll. Text, I roll. Because I was like, I don't know. Don't know what's going on with this guy. I can't keep up with him.
Starting point is 00:12:54 And all I know is he better tell me first. This guy. Oh, hey, I may work with you in L.A. one day if that's cool. Want to? You're going to mentor with me and Idle together? Yeah. They'll just bring her in live. Guys, I'm going to do some mentoring with me.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Yeah, I don't care. Whatever you want. Mother's Day weekend, the 12th. Sure. Is this a meeting where we were going to have an office? Well, no. Actually. We'll have an L.A.
Starting point is 00:13:17 No, no. No, I guess it would be Monday the 13th, but I'm going there for Mother's Day, which is Sunday the 12th, but I would work with you on the 13th. Yeah, I think I have like DeVille meetings for new shows on that day too, so it work out good. This is usually what we do in an office meetings. Yeah, I do have a meeting on 13th. So yeah, bring it. Cool. Sounds good.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Good, I already booked my flight. The whole family's going, me, Ben, and the kids. Well, just act like you hadn't booked your flight or the whole family like you're actually asking first. She's like, yeah, we've already committed. Because I figured that it would be more fun for you to have me with you. Yeah. That's what you figure, huh? And I can cancel it Southwest.
Starting point is 00:13:55 We shall be free. We shall be free. Let me mention that. Eddie and I, The Raging Idiots, we're almost out of tickets to this, but the Golden Nugget. On May 31st, if you're anywhere near the Gulf Coast, come out. The Raging Idiots, Two-Man Music and Comedy Show will be performing. And opening act is Bailey Brian. And it will be great.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Ragingididits.com. Still working on announcing a summer tour sometime soon, and that'll be it. Amy's got a Four Things podcast. I've got a Bobbycast with Matt, the lead singer of Parmally. So that'll be up tonight, hearing this on Wednesday. The guys have a podcast called The Soar Losers podcast, which is very sports-related, and that's it for now. Thank you, and away we go.

Starting point is 00:18:24 Transmitting across America This is the Bobby Bones show That's right What's happening Welcome to Wednesday show Everybody's all here Morning studio Morning
Starting point is 00:18:38 Well well well Well here is your motivational quote of the day Love this one The elevator to success Is out of order You have to use the stairs and those stairs are one step at a time.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Nice. Everybody just wants to like go, I want to be successful. How we make it happen super fast? And it just doesn't happen that way. That's what this quote's all about. Like the elevator to success is done. You don't just hop in there
Starting point is 00:19:03 and just push a button and then all of a sudden door opens. Like if you want it, it's tiny steps from the very bottom, one step at a time. And so that's from Joe Girard, an American author. I just agree with that so much. You know, they say,
Starting point is 00:19:16 if you want something, I think this is an old proverb, but it's like the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. But if you haven't planted it yet, the next best time is right now. Because it's going to be 20 years from now and you're going to go, I need a tree. Okay, well, the best time is 20 years ago. So you plan it right now. Like you got to get rocking, man. And it's just just effort, effort, ever.
Starting point is 00:19:41 If we waking up this morning, hopefully it inspires you a little bit. Like, no easy rides up. The American Idol Obator is pretty easy, though. I get on that one sometimes. And we'll skip floors. You know what, Amy? I met somebody from Disney because from American Idol from ABC. And they were like, hey, come to the park.
Starting point is 00:19:56 We'll get you through, whatever you want. And I was like, what? So fun. They're like, no lines. They're like, you work for us now because ABC is Disney. Oh, so now you don't, you don't, you get a special thing and you don't have to. I'm telling you. They gave me a car.
Starting point is 00:20:11 The guy gave me a car. He goes, I do artist relations. So just come. We'll take you in the, all. And I was like, what? So yeah, now I don't have to go. Oh, that's cool. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:19 But that'd be creepy to go by myself with one of the guys. I'm like, hey, I'd like to go ride all the rides, please. I mean, maybe. I actually think you would enjoy it by yourself. Yeah, but I got to find, I'm not doing it by myself. I got to find somebody to take. That's something that I would like to do for somebody, too. Oh, that, yeah, to be able to get them through with no lines.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Yeah. So you're thinking, like, date? I'm thinking like anybody. Who wants to, Eddie? You want to go Disney? Oh, man. Yeah. Anyway, I thought it was cool because I was just.
Starting point is 00:20:45 just standing out there doing some press after American Idol the other night. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. Lunchbox has a nine-month-old son. We check in with the baby box update. Here we go. Baby Box Update. Guys, last week I told you my son is probably falling behind because he doesn't have any teeth and his cousins that are three months younger than him have teeth.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Well, scratch that. We went to the doctor. He is nine months old. And he is one of the smartest kids in the way. world. He is 95th percentile in brain size for his age. That means he's really smart. Is there a direct correlation between actual brain size and intelligence? Well, they said they measured his head and his head is in the 95th percentile. You only have a big head if you're covering a big brain, correct? So I take that as he has a huge brain and is
Starting point is 00:21:41 really smart. You know what? We'll take it. We'll take it. Yeah. What is your? What is your son do that is so smart that sets him apart from other nine-month-olds? I mean, he is grabbing everything. He can just take things and he puts everything in his mouth. Anything you give him, he puts it right in his mouth. He knows where his mouth is. And
Starting point is 00:21:59 he grabs for my face. So he knows where my nose is. He touches my nose all the time. And I say, nose. And he touches my nose. Now, Eddie, you've had a couple sons. At nine months old, is this groundbreaking stuff? Yeah. I mean, my kids, I don't even think we're close to that.
Starting point is 00:22:15 They didn't know where their mouth was? Not at nine months old. Like that's, hey. So lunch, you're saying you can say, where's your mouth? And he points at it. No, no, no, no, no. I hand him something and he puts it in his mouth. Oh, no, no, no, loans, this is not smart.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Oh, it's not? Every baby does this. Amy, do you say dogs do that? Well, they do. Dogs are actually really smart. Wait, dogs take things with their hands and put them in their mouth? No, well, my dog uses her paws. She's very smart.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I don't have a baby. I don't know. Like, I'm literally asking Eddie, who's at two sons. At nine month old, could they take something to put in their mouth? Yes, anything you put in there, they'll put everything in their mouth. Guys, the doctor said his head size is 95th percentile. That is a huge brain. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Bobby had a big head. They had. Has a kid. Has. Still had, but I'm saying when you were younger, you had a really big head, and you were very smart and you still are. So maybe lunchbox is on. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Maybe he's on to something. Maybe he's on to something. Hey, congratulations, lunchbox. We hope that the big head actually means big brain. And big brain means intelligence. That's what I'm hoping because I am so proud of him now. Like we are back on the intelligent train. There you go.
Starting point is 00:23:20 And that's your baby box update. On the intelligence train. Baby box update. I'm going to hit you with this right now. On this day in country music, let's go. The Bobby Vaughn Show. On this day in country music. Today in 1991, 28 years ago,
Starting point is 00:23:36 Garth Brooks won six times during the ACM Awards. He won things like Song of the Year, video of the year, single, album, top male vocalist, entertainer of the year. Basically, it was the Garth Brooks show. Garth now shares for six trophies with Faith Hill and Chris Stapleton. The Bobby Bone Show. Big Three Stories. Our producer Raymundo from the Glassroom with the news.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Ramundo, what you got? The winner of last month staggering $768 million dollar powerball jackpot has come forward. Manuel Franco, the 24-year-old said he plans to help the world. In Silicon Valley, California, a car plowed into a group of people. Police say the driver appeared to hit the crowd intentionally. Witnesses have confirmed there was no sign of the car attempting to stop. Many of the people have been hospitalized.
Starting point is 00:24:22 And finally, officials have said gas prices are going to continue to go up as we get closer to summer. In L.A., gas is almost $5 a gallon. Do you like that Mary Poppins movie? So cute. I can't really, it took us so long to watch it, but we were just trying to get the whole family together to do it. My husband loved it, kids, me. So it's a win for the family if anyone hasn't seen it. And now you can watch it from home.
Starting point is 00:24:44 So it's great. I remember getting mixed reviews. Oh, really? Not from my house. Yeah. Like the kids laughed and they got into it. I thought some stuff would go over their head, but they still thought it was so funny.
Starting point is 00:24:57 I saw on Netflix that Christopher Robbins movie is up on Netflix. Has anyone seen that? It's the Winnie the Pooh movie. I just remember it coming out and not getting wonderful reviews. And then it popped up on Netflix and I just couldn't commit. Yeah, I saw it, and it's still weird to me that he thinks about these little bears. Why? I mean, listen, if I were a kid and there was a talking bear, I'd never stop thinking about that. Right, I know, but he's an adult now in the real world, and he's stressing over a job, and he's like, where's poo?
Starting point is 00:25:24 And they find poo and all his old friends. Oh. Kind of weird bones. An audience score. Oh, I'm looking at Mary Poppins. Oh, Christopher Robin. Yeah, wow, 72%. I guess I thought it would be...
Starting point is 00:25:36 Did you like it, Eddie? No, it's okay. Again, I thought it was cool just because I was a kid. when Winnie the Pooh was like big, but it was just weird once I thought about it. What's your kids watching Fuller House, Amy? Yes, we started season one, episode one. So I'm super pumped about this.
Starting point is 00:25:52 It was actually after Mary Poppins night because we all piled on one couch to watch Mary Poppins. And we snuggled up and it was great. And the kids loved it so much. They're like, let's do it again every night. And I'm like, well, we can't watch a movie every night, guys. So we've got to find something short that's around bedtime. and the fuller house episodes are perfect
Starting point is 00:26:12 because we can do like an episode a night maybe not every night of the week but it's our new show we're piling on the couch and watching it and I've never seen it. I've never seen it. Yeah, four seasons so I'm pretty pumped. We have a new like family binge show. Well not to, the spoiler alert
Starting point is 00:26:27 but at one point on the show Aunt Becky pays for her kids to go to it ends sour, it's a sour ending. Okay. I'm gonna play Luke Bryan, sunrise, sunburn, sunset. But if you have kids, There's a few recommendations there. There's Mary Poppins you liked, Fuller House, which people may already be on, or maybe they don't.
Starting point is 00:26:44 And then Eddie kind of liked Christopher Robbins. But the good thing is, that's on Netflix. And if you have Netflix, you don't have to pay any more for it. Boom. Starting point is 00:30:31 You're on a deserted island. You only get one show to watch. for the rest of your life or until you're rescued. Amy, you're up. This is so easy for me. I go friends hands down. Because? Because I love it.
Starting point is 00:30:50 It's so awesome. It's funny. It holds up. Like, however long I'm on this island. I still laugh at it now, and I laughed at it a long, long time ago. So hopefully I'll laugh at it way, way, way from now. And I think a strong thing about friends is there are a lot of seasons.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Yes, there's a lot. Yes, you can go through. So, yep, it'll kill a lot of time. Let's go over to Lunchbox. Lunchbox, you're on this island. You got one show. What is it? Guys, I'm watching Seinfeld over and over again,
Starting point is 00:31:16 just because I think Seinfeld is hilarious. There's a lot of seasons, and you can just watch it. Because I still watch it today, and it's episodes I've seen 10 times, and I love it still. So I think that would keep me entertained until I die or until the helicopter came and got me. Morgan number two, you're 25. I'm imagining your stuff's a little newer.
Starting point is 00:31:33 What do you think here? Mine's actually Gilmore Girls. and it's because it gives me all this motivation when I watch it. How does Gilmore girls motivate you? I don't know. It's just the mother-daughter relationship. It would just keep pushing me through. Like, hopefully I get to see my family after this one day.
Starting point is 00:31:48 So that would be like what I'm thinking about while I'm watching it. I think mine's pretty easy because I watch it nonstop right now. It's the office. Yeah. I've probably, and I'm not one of those who count so many times they've been through it, but I've probably seen every episode 15 times or so. Wow. I can not quote along with almost every episode.
Starting point is 00:32:08 But I still love it and I still laugh out loud. But I would be The Office. Hey, Ramundo or audio producer, what would you do? What show? Yeah, mine's going to have to be everybody loves Raymond. It's the family type show. I absolutely laugh every time I watch it. I don't think any of the stuff's outdated.
Starting point is 00:32:24 And it's almost similar to my family. The guy's name's Raymond, his brother's name's Robert. Got twin boys. I'm a twin, a daughter. I got a sister. So it's very similar to my own life. Yeah, that's true. Okay, okay, let's do it again.
Starting point is 00:32:35 If you have one book, you're on a deserted island. One book, and the Bible is not an option, everyone. Oh, man. You automatically get the Bible, because I know. It's like a lot of books in there. That's what you... Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:51 One book. Yes. One book? If it's a trilogy, you only get the one? You can't pick Hunger Games, Amy. You can only pick one of them. Oh, I'd pick the first one, duh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:02 You get one book. I'll go first. Well, I'll just tell you my favorite book. It's how to win people and make them like you or whatever it is. I have it in my, I've read it like 20 times. Yes. Have you read that one? Uh-uh. I haven't. Okay. Yes. It's called how to win friends and influence others. It's written like a hundred years ago. It's fantastic. What's that one you told me to read that one time and you were similar to that sort of? And I got it. And I like, like read one chapter and I was like, oh, I can't even. It's not that, but it's like, you know what I'm talking about? Oh. You know the book that I read for a second time recently was the obstacle as the way? You read that?
Starting point is 00:33:46 No, but again, I feel like whatever book you told me, it was similar to that one. Oh, I probably told you fail until you don't by me, fight ground repeat, which you never read. Yeah, yeah. You get one book, Amy. Okay. I am going, I am going Hunger Games and I'm going the very first one because I'm stuck on an island and to speak to Morgan number two's motivation, it's going to teach me,
Starting point is 00:34:07 I'm going to be motivated to survive. Okay. And I, because you're like cat in this. Yes, I will channel my inner catness and I will get off that island. Lunchbox? Oh, guys, I got to learn how to get off that island.
Starting point is 00:34:19 I need motivation to get off that island, right? Yes. And I'm going to keep trying to get off that island until I don't get off that island. So I'm going to do fail until you don't. Oh, my gosh. Who wrote that book? By Bobby Bowles. Yeah, I like this guy.
Starting point is 00:34:31 I just seen you a helicopter, buddy. See, that's what I'm saying. That's why you read that book because it'll motivate you to get off the island. That's it. Morgan number two, what about you? Mine would be the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets so I could like distract myself from everything that's happening. I mean, that's the point of having a book.
Starting point is 00:34:47 I know. I know. Bobby, you're like trying to learn how to interact with people and there's nobody else in the island. But when I get off the island, I got a good story about how I survived and then I'm going to go and be president of island saving. That's true. You want to do album or no? Oh, album would be, I would have to Google the name of the album, but I could, I could do it.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Google it up real quick. You have one album. If it's an album, that's tough. I probably go John Mary Continuum as far as albums go. And there's a lot of great Garth albums, but just pound for pound that John Mary Continuum album is my favorite album. Morgan number two, you have an album? Ooh, I'm going to go with Dan and Shays, How Not Too, because I love that full album, and I could listen to it. on repeat.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Wow. Look at you. Lunchbox? Yeah, easy, guys. Come on. Tina Turner, Greatest Hits. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:35:41 A lot of people would say greatest hits don't count. Oh, what? Why? That's... Because that's not a real album. Because I would pick Garth's greatest hits.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Oh, I was going to go straight out of the box. It's Garth... George Strait's... Box set? Oh, no, that's... That's more than one album. That's like every album. That's like taking...
Starting point is 00:35:56 But it's so good. Okay. All right, all you guys. Fine. I'll take one of the CDs from the box set. Just randomly grab one and go roll with this. I'll even go blind. I'll just draw it and I'll be like, okay. Well, there you have it.
Starting point is 00:36:08 There's a little bit about us. Let's get to know the Bobby Bone Show. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home there's something good. There's a blind guy in Maryland. He goes down to catch the subway, taking it to work, and he walks a little too far and falls off the platform.
Starting point is 00:36:26 But all of a sudden you hear, er, here comes the train. So three random dudes had to jump down. and lift the guy to safety. As the train's coming. As the train is coming. And they were all okay. So the other guys got out too. Because that's always a big jump.
Starting point is 00:36:41 It's huge. That's high. It's more than you think. Yeah. Well, how do you know? Well, I've seen it. You look down there. But that's what you're thinking.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Right, right? How do you know it's more than that? I know, you got it. But anyway, it is a long way down there. And that takes guts to hear the train coming and to jump down there and help? I just keep thinking of Johnny Cash. Every time he says that. I hear the train coming.
Starting point is 00:37:02 I know, every time. I hear the train coming. rain are coming. It's rolling around a bit. Oh, I get it. That's a song. I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when. I stuck in Folsom prison. Time keeps dragging home. Take it lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Something about the water is bad. No. What? No, not the song. What? Down to sand and tone. No, the drinking water's bad. Oh, he says that in the live version.
Starting point is 00:37:30 I don't know. He's mixing things up. No, he does say that when you watch some. movie, Walk the Line? Oh, he's talking about in the live version. He does talk to the prisoners about how can they drink this water. It's not really in the song. See, I listen to live albums. Okay. All right, there you go. There's Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:37:48 That was Tell Me Something Good. Lobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes us from Pasco County, Florida. Matthew was driving around in his Chevy Trailblazer. You know, he's not a real cop, but he's got the lights like
Starting point is 00:38:01 a cop because he's driving around pulling people over. So he lights up a car. Woo! Pull someone over? Only problem, he was an undercover cop. Oh, no. Got him. And so he called the regular cops and they came and got him.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Oh, no. The guy had a light bar across the top that had red and blue lights and even had his grill in the front of his trailblazer with red and blue lights. Red and blue, right? He was for sure trying to be a fake cop. With red and blue. All right, there you go. I'm Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:38:34 That's your Bonehead story of the day. Amanda in Florida, what's going on? You are the king of travel. I know that. I know. I don't even say that is a good thing. It's like, oh, that's all I do is travel. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:50 I just started a new job where I am traveling 90% of the time. Wow. And so I want your travel tips or things that you would tell someone or must have that I should have to make life easier. Yeah, absolutely. First of all, do not, don't waste your money on a neck pillow. Like, I know they're hanging all out in the airport, and you're like, well, if all these other goons are wearing them, I should wear one. Don't work.
Starting point is 00:39:15 They don't help. They don't do anything. The only thing that they're good for is if you take it off your neck and you actually put it beside your head and you're, like, Southwest sitting beside the window. Otherwise, don't be a dope. And I'm not even talking to you specifically. Don't buy a neck pillow. But here you go. This is the one thing really you need to know, Amanda.
Starting point is 00:39:31 This is for anybody that is traveling. I travel an abnormal amount, but Amanda, before you get on an airplane, drink an entire bottle of water. And I know that sounds trivial, and it sounds so basic, drink an entire bottle of water. And if you're flying over two or three hours,
Starting point is 00:39:47 don't just drink one before you get on. Drink one before you get on, and then make sure you drink another one during because it will dry you out. It will give you headaches when you land if you're not drinking enough water. You will not be able to, you know, function.
Starting point is 00:40:01 correctly or at a high level because you have such a headache, you're going to be lethargic. So much like in life, drink water, a whole bottle before you even get on an airplane. How about that? Okay, I can do that. That's really the only thing. Like life? I'm going to give everybody a life tip. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:40:16 Ready. I'm an American mentor, everybody listening right now, in this room, and just listening. Drink water. That's the key to most of our issues. Most of our health issues, most of our headaches, most of our... Water, water, water, water, water. Drink so much water that feels like you have to pee almost all the time. I literally have to go pee right now.
Starting point is 00:40:37 And that's when you're just now getting right. And I don't always stay there. And I'm going to tell you when I'm proudest to myself is when I pee and it's clear. Yeah, that's the goal. Yeah, I look at it. I'm like, look at me. I'm doing good. It's water.
Starting point is 00:40:51 And again, I try to drink, you know, five or six, 16 ounce things a day. I don't know. I mean, you know, recommended. But find ways to trick yourself into drinking water. Play games with yourself. Sometimes I do the water race against myself Well I know the recommended Do you want to know it?
Starting point is 00:41:05 Half your body weight Like take what you weigh Wait a hundred and Wow Hold on A day If I weigh one 50
Starting point is 00:41:13 Well let's say 155 Okay I got to drink over 70 pounds of water a day O ounces Oh Pounds of water No Silly in ounces
Starting point is 00:41:26 But then also if you work out Add another like 16 ounces How much water you do drinking a day? I have a new goal. I'm trying to get 100 ounces a day. You wait to 200 pounds? No, but I do work out and I do other things, so I feel like I need to compensate. Amanda, thank you for calling. Thanks for asking. I appreciate that. Thank you. Good luck with your new job. Yeah. Appreciate you. There it is, Bobby Bone Show. Appreciate you.

Starting point is 00:45:38 Thanks, man. Appreciate that. What would you like to say? I just want to let you know that, you know, just by listening to you and listening to the show and watching your Instagram store, you really inspired me to, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:49 want to start working out again and get in shape and eat better and, you know, just, you know, be good for myself and really help look out for other people and, you know, just be all around positive. And I think you just do an amazing job of that. Well, thanks, man. When people say they meet you and they're like, oh, you're so nice. And it's like, that's how we should be.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Well, you know, it's weird to once Amy on this show said, you know what? A friend that she met you and she was so surprised how nice you were. And I was like, what do you mean surprised? I was offended as someone was surprised. I was nice. I didn't say it. They were like, wow, he was like so. nice. I'm like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Yeah. Don't be surprised. Well, Ryan, good for you. Listen, here's what we're all searching for as far as, like, happiness with ourselves. As long as you're good with you, you know, that's good. Yeah, I don't think you should be chasing a specific number unless that's what makes you happy.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Like, for me, I need to weigh 157 for my weight. Like, that's what makes me happy. I need to be there because in my clothes fit. And right now, all my clothes that got from idle all fit. They're all the same, like same size. And I just, it's just a pain in my butt. That being said, you know, I hope that you're chasing your fitness goals. Let me make a recommendation.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Can I mentor me with that, Amy? Yes, please. Everybody wants to go, I should start working out and get in shape. That's not where it lies. That's a good point. It's 29% of it. But the other 71. Oh, 71.
Starting point is 00:47:13 Yeah. I can do math. It's eating. It's eating. And it feels like it probably shouldn't be because it doesn't seem like it's that much work. But all the work is in you not jumping in. to your old habits because that's the hardest thing to do is break habits. Like if you can eat better, the weight will fall off of you.
Starting point is 00:47:30 Working out is the bonus. So I hope you hit your fitness goals or just your life goals. But when it comes to that, if you just eat right, if you had to pick one, if it was like, I can either eat or work out, I would just eat, eat right. I wouldn't even worry about working out if you had to pick one. Yeah. So that's what I'm saying. I got to exercise bike though.
Starting point is 00:47:47 I'm crushing that. It's changing my, I'm a low overweight right now for me. Changing your body? Yeah. in a good way. Well, everywhere. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Some things are smaller. Some things are bigger. You never even knew it was coming. Okay. But Ryan, I appreciate that call, man. I'm glad that, you know, this little show could be something that inspires you a little bit. We try to do that. So thanks, ma'am.
Starting point is 00:48:10 It's awesome. And I'm trying to get my wife to put your book on her book club list. Yeah. The second one, fail until you don't? Yeah, that one. Yeah, that's the one. Well, listen, I hope she does. Oh man, I wonder if, like, girls have done that as a book club.
Starting point is 00:48:25 What? Your book. Failed until you don't? Yeah. I mean, I used to be in a book club, and it was so fun, and you read it, and you get together, and you have, like, snacks and wine, and you talk about the book, chapter by chapter. I would like to do a book club because it's not only other reason, no snacks, no wine. But just to motivate me to read more books.
Starting point is 00:48:42 I like to read it, and I do read, but sometimes I get caught up on the show, and I'm just reading everything on the internet. Like, I'll spend two hours reading news stories, and I go, did I just waste all my time reading the internet? But it's for work. Right. So it wasn't a waste. But again, I feel like I could have spent 20 minutes of that reading a book. But then if you're in a book club, you have to take time to go hang out with the people and you talk about the book. And that includes, like, line and snacks.
Starting point is 00:49:06 How about? Bobby, no, you'll be the worst book club member. You'd be like, okay, everybody come over. Okay, you don't want to talk about this. All right, everybody out. That's true. That's true. Hey, listen, Ryan, thank you.
Starting point is 00:49:18 Thank you for the nice words. we will continue to try to be positive and encourage. And thanks for listening, my friend. No problem. Hey, you've got to come perform in Milwaukee sometime. Nah. Wow. Wow, okay.
Starting point is 00:49:32 I mean, we're not on to Milwaukee. Maybe like Madison. I like Madison. If Milwaukee ever puts us on, bro, I'll come up there, Ryan. Yeah, because you may go and then nobody would come. Yeah, I'd be like, hello, and that feedback. There's nobody there. Hello, hello, hello.
Starting point is 00:49:44 That's why I was anybody here. Just Ryan. Right, and it's wife. I'm here. It's me. We just started your book. All right, Ryan. See you later, bud.
Starting point is 00:49:54 Thank you guys. All right, bye, bye. All right, good. I just caught on it now. He's like, I keep trying to get my wife to add your book to the book. Not working. People are probably like, who's that? This is Milwaukee.
Starting point is 00:50:05 We don't know him. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So a list of easy, hackable passwords came out. And basically, we need to stop using our favorite bands. Metallica, Slipknot, and M&M specifically. Whose favorite band of Slipknot? Well, maybe if it's not your favorite. You're still using it as a password.
Starting point is 00:50:28 And it's like, okay, National Cyber Security Center is saying, yeah, we need to chill out on that one. Well, it seems like every time, and I read this story, like, every three months it comes out where they're like, A, B, C, C, EFG, or A, SD, F, K, you know, across the middle line. Oh, yeah. Those are always the most. So it's surprising that people still use. those. People are really into fictional characters too, like Superman, Batman, Tigger, and Pokemon. I need to change mine from Leonard Skinner, I guess. You know, sometimes they'll assign you a big long one, but then you have to put it in your keychain, on your phone,
Starting point is 00:51:04 and if you don't have your phone, you can't remember. You guys ever do that? Yep. Passwords, who needs them? Let's all do retinas scans and blood. That's what you need. Okay, but move on from things like your first name, local football team, and favorite bands. So nearly half of us have had food stolen by a coworker. So I have the top foods that are stolen in case you want to make sure that you've got them labeled, you've got them to the side. I know we've had issues at our office for sure. Like Ray had, what, toaster strudel stolen?
Starting point is 00:51:32 But the top foods are chips, fruit, candy, coffee, milk, bread, ice cream, lunch meat, and nuts. Which lunchbox always has a bag of nuts. Do you have to deal with people stealing them? No, I spit in them. Oh. People still steal them. They just don't know. No.
Starting point is 00:51:47 No, true story, though, there's been times where I've been really hungry and he has the nuts around. And I haven't been able to bring myself to go in and grab any of the nuts because I know that his hands go in there. Is anybody else feel that way? You have to get creative. They say that people also hide food at work too from people. And if you have Amazon Prime, well, you can now have packages dropped off inside your garage as it expands the controversial in-home delivery service to more cities. So it was like they leave it on your porch And then now they can just go inside your house
Starting point is 00:52:20 And maybe you're not into that You can go have them just drop it off in the garage And they're selling these garage door openers on Amazon That are normally like $80 to give them access But Amazon is offering a discount right now for $50. So if packages being stolen is an issue Might be worth you investing. I think the most interesting part of that is
Starting point is 00:52:39 They're making them now take selfies of themselves So if stuff is stolen, you know who it is that actually delivered them. I think garage is less intrusive than a house. Oh, I agree. You know, who is actually dropping it off? And so one security measure they're taking is if you're one of those people that work at Amazon,
Starting point is 00:52:57 you have to selfie yourself at the house to show that you dropped it off there. Yeah, and then Amazon also offers like a cloud cam that you can buy from them install to make sure you can, you know, watch it all go down if you want to. A cloud cam. That's what they call it, the Amazon cloud cam. Which is what exactly?
Starting point is 00:53:14 I guess you can hang it up like it's like, you know, like it's dangling in the cloud. Like you're a pit boss? It says users can purchase an Amazon cloud cam in order to watch a live or recorded feed of the delivery drop off. How boring would that be to just sit and watch up. What are you doing over 3 to 320? I'm watching my cloud cam. Watch this random dude come by and drop off a pack of Q-tips. All right, is that it Amy?
Starting point is 00:53:38 Yeah, maybe. That's my file. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Graeme. Starting point is 00:57:24 And she really loved her adoptive parents And her family But she, you know, had this longing To learn more So she did that 23 Me kit That we, you know, hear a lot about lately And she has 22 siblings Wow
Starting point is 00:57:38 Yeah Who was getting busy? Well, Well, her mom and her dad, but with, I guess, other people. Because on her mom's side, she had 11 siblings. Holy cow. And on her dad's side, she had 11 siblings. And so far, this is pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:57:53 She's been able to make contact with 20 of them. And she needs to track down the other two. It's expensive Christmas. Everybody gets to get a holy cow. Well, shout out 23 and me. I know. I mean, did you find out? I know you did it.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Did you have any? You already know you had some half siblings and stuff, but you didn't find out anything like... I'm going to tell you. It'll be like a random Wednesday and I'll get an email. Another cousin has arrived. And people... It's a thing. And sometimes it's like third cousins.
Starting point is 00:58:23 But I went to a funeral and a guy coming to me and was like, hey man, I haven't got a response. I don't know what you were talking about because I haven't got a response from you, but I'm like your third cousin. I sent you a message on 23 of me. And I was like, are you serious? I felt bad that I didn't respond, first of all. Then secondly, I was like, what? Yeah, it came up to me. Wow.
Starting point is 00:58:40 Crazy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a thing. It works. You haven't done it, huh? Now, I still have my kit. You haven't done it? I don't know. Honestly, my dad, I wouldn't be surprised if I had more siblings. Oh, that's why you don't want to do it. I promise you, I've had that thought. Dad, if you're listening, no disrespect.
Starting point is 00:58:58 But he just married four times. Like, I don't know. I don't even know whose second wife was. Oh, wow. I know her name, but, like, I've never seen a picture of her. Isn't that weird? Huh. My mom was his third and then you had the fourth. Do it.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Do it. Do it. All right. Thank you, Amy. Okay, bye. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bonshow. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Morgan number two, 30 Second Skinny. Jana Kramer shared with Bobby on the show yesterday what she really meant by saying she wouldn't hire a hot nanny on the Wind Down podcast. What I said was sometimes I think it's playing with fire. So it's like an alcoholic walking into a bar, right? It could be dangerous. But at the same time, no matter what something. someone looks like is my husband or if I want to cheat, we're going to cheat no matter what anyone
Starting point is 00:59:44 looks like. Well, a couple things. First of all, there have been infidelity issues. And if I'm having issues, and I think the analogy I made, if I can't stop eating cookies, I don't need to put a cookie on my counter so every time I walk by, I might have bite of that cookie. And also, where is this group of hot people that got together and got mad? The hot nannies?
Starting point is 01:00:04 You know what? Is there a hot nanny message board where they're all like, I'm so furious today. you know, people just need to get mad about real life things. All right, what else? Nicole Kidman loves supporting Keith Urban on tour. She said in her interview for the cover on Vanity Fair that she loves being a tour wife and she can remember Keith Urban's tour schedule for him
Starting point is 01:00:22 after looking at it just one time. Photographic memory or so in love. Which won? Yeah. All right, what else? Dan and Chega added to perform at the Billboard Music Awards. They will perform with pop artist Tori Kelly and it will air on NBC on May 1st.
Starting point is 01:00:38 There you have it. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. Thank you. Folks, it's your buddy and my... Mr. Bobby Bones. Let me go. Over to Amy with that corny.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Here we go. Morning corny. Why did the physics teacher break up with the biology teacher? Why did the physics teacher break up with the biology teacher? Because there was no chemistry. Ah, okay.
Starting point is 01:01:14 Was the morning corny. There you go. How you feeling? Good. Are you? Yeah. Yeah. I'm in a new world of allergy hurt.
Starting point is 01:01:26 So my drainage goes onto the back of my tongue and my throat. Do you guys have this? Yeah. I woke up today. My throat is so sore that I thought I might be dying. That's not good. Maybe not dying. But I woke up and I was like, I woke up like one this morning.
Starting point is 01:01:42 And I was like, oh, I don't know if I can do this. Like for a second I considered calling in today, which I don't do. But I was like, I can't even talk because my throat hurts so bad. but I sleep every night and this drip just goes right how don't I block the drip? Oof.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Because my allergies are so bad right now and I'm taking like 19 pills I'm putting them in all, every hole. Oh really? Sometimes just to see. Oh. I'm experimenting on myself a little bit. Yeah, I'm just like,
Starting point is 01:02:07 I'm just like, put my pill here. I mean, I have sublinguals and I've taken pills and I'm taking shots. I understand why people move from places because allergies are so bad for the first time. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:20 Because sometimes people will just move Can't live here Can't breathe But I walk out in the pollen is so bad Anyway That was me that was me at More again to you What time were we talking last night
Starting point is 01:02:31 Earlier than that But I think it might have been like 9, 930 Fell asleep, woke up like this I don't know if I can go in Oh wow Then I'm here Whatever People have it harder than me right
Starting point is 01:02:43 It's probably Is that true? Yeah Something not a lot That's a little more Yeah You don't think post-nagal drift the worst thing about it's pretty bad
Starting point is 01:02:51 I don't know what to do and I was looking at dogs last night online again because I have two areas I'm going to go into with dogs I'm either I don't want to say for sure because but the two I'm looking at because a lot of people have reached out from rescue groups
Starting point is 01:03:07 it doesn't matter what kind of dog you want they're oddly needs these dogs need homes yeah and so from other states too and they're like yeah we'll make we'll deliver you the dog like how do you drive it down on a bicycle like E.T Where that you put in a little bathroom? Yeah, it flies.
Starting point is 01:03:22 So, it's two dogs right now. It's the French bulldog, which Amy told me about, which is a little small dog. I'm told not best for the allergies. Oh, boo. I know. Well, you're taking that pill. Look at me. The pill's not doing anything.
Starting point is 01:03:39 That's not the dog. I think I'm getting worse. No dog is doing that to you. That's the environment. Because I'm taking allergy pills and now I'm worse. I can't even, I lost the third of my voice. Next up is. the miniature Australian Shepherd.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Oh. Which... Cute. Don't hate on it because you didn't pick it. Wow. I said cute. It's actually the smartest of the dogs. Cute.
Starting point is 01:04:01 Yeah. I had an Australian Shepherd when I was a kid. I think it's super cute. Those are good for the allergies. Why not? They're all bad for me. If I'm going to get one, might as well. Of course I'm in a fight for the Frenchie.
Starting point is 01:04:12 Don't get mad at me for that. You don't have a... Yeah. I don't have a dog in this fight. You don't. You don't. You don't a French bull, though. What about is he-computed?
Starting point is 01:04:19 Oh, well, well, Well, we did a puppy pitch on the show, and I would like to win. There's not a prize. Oh. I appreciate your effort. That's it. There you count. I also just think they're so cute.
Starting point is 01:04:30 Yeah. There's a guy who ended up winning $768 million in the jackpot. He's only 24 years old. His name is Manuel Franco. Here you go. Here are the five things you need to know. He quit his job two days after winning the jackpot. He's 24 years old.
Starting point is 01:04:45 He did not say what he did for a job before he won, but he said, He just stopped showing up to work two days later And he does have a girlfriend Oh wow I bet He's good now I don't think Who knows
Starting point is 01:04:59 Hopefully they've been together a while Because if you've been together a little bit And you just want 700 You probably Don't have a girlfriend for a while You say you get rid of her? I'm just saying it probably won't work out Oh
Starting point is 01:05:12 Well why If they just started And now he has $768 million As a guy he probably go, oh, I think I can get a supermodel now. Oh. It's called upgrade. Just as a guy who gets $100 million.
Starting point is 01:05:26 Oh, man. Yeah, I know. That's going to be a bummer. He said he spends about $10 a week on lottery tickets. He purchased a ticket at a Speedway gas station and said he screamed more than five minutes after winning. He is from West Alice. He explained that he does want to help out the world.
Starting point is 01:05:44 I think everybody says that when they win the lottery because that may be one of the question is like, what do you want to do? And so you say something generic, like, well, I've been thinking about it a long time. I'm trying to really just help out the world. Yeah. And do what? You know, world things. Anything I can do?
Starting point is 01:05:56 Helping people. He beat massive odds, obviously. He had a 1 and 292 million chance. And then finally, the state gets a massive payday. So the taxes that he has to pay when he gets the lump sum is $36 million. Wow. Because you have to pay taxes on what he's going to take is $477 million. I cannot believe that.
Starting point is 01:06:20 Yeah, those taxes for the state's $36 million. So no doubt that the state is happy he wins. Yeah. Because they get a big tax part of that. I was reading this story about those ballpits. Explain a ball pit to our listeners in case they don't have kids. Okay, so I'm picturing like Chucky Cheese or showbiz pizza or something, and there's a bunch of like colorful balls.
Starting point is 01:06:39 And as a kid, you would just go jump into them and play. Even as an adult, sometimes a good Instagram picture can be made laying in a ball pit. I haven't been on one in a while, but I'm reading today that they took the balls and they did tests on them. They found that a lot of these balls contained pink eye. They cause urinary tract infections, bloodstream infections, and heart inflammation. These are all the things on the balls. So if your kid is healthy, they say, nah, they'll be okay. The bacteria will hurt someone if their immune system is compromised.
Starting point is 01:07:12 But what we're forgetting is you can also take, let's say it's on their hands and then the kids come and touch you. Oh, yeah. You also can walk out of there with a urinary tract infection pink eye. What if you get all that at once? Wow. You're like sanitize your kid. It's like, what's wrong with you? Well, Doc, I think I got a UTI.
Starting point is 01:07:30 My eyes pink. My bloodstream's messed up. Dang, where did you go? Chucky cheese. How'd you catch this? I don't have the pizza place. Did they even have the ballpits? Is Chuckie cheese the old thing?
Starting point is 01:07:43 Yeah. Oh, yeah. But they don't have the ball pits there, not the one I went to. Oh, man, I used to jump in those as a kid. But, I mean, those trampoline places that have, they have those foam pits that you can jump into. And whenever, like, any time my kids jump into it, I'm like, oh, germs, oh. That's what you y'all going in. Some people yell, yay!
Starting point is 01:08:01 And he goes, germs! Hello, you're on the air. Kate and Boston. I'm going to come to say, I absolutely love the show. And I actually was one of the featured E. I was on Amy Five Things podcast yesterday. and it absolutely made my day. And what email did you write in?
Starting point is 01:08:23 I wrote in about the green smoothies and how so many other smoothies are normally full of sugar. And I wanted to see if Amy or any of the guests that she brought in on had any good green smoothie recipes. And she gave me an awesome answer. I think that Amy's got a great podcast, call Four Things with Amy Brown. Look it up. And she does an email podcast midweek. where you just read emails from people. Yep.
Starting point is 01:08:50 It's the Q&A one, the fifth thing. Four things with Amy Brown. Search it wherever you listen to your podcast after the show is over. Not during the show. Yeah, not during the show. Actually, it doesn't even work during the show, if I'm being honest. Yeah. We disable it during the show.

Starting point is 01:17:14 The points never matter. The point games are always just for fun. Let's go over to Sandra. Hey, Sandra and Georgia, what's going on? I just want to call, might you guys know how much I appreciate you. I've listened for about eight years, and you are, every one of you are really relatable to me. And I just really appreciate it. I feel like I'm with you or you with me every morning.
Starting point is 01:17:36 to help me make it through the day. I appreciate that. I had a guy asked me. He was like, hey, would you come and speak at a conference? And I was like, sure. He goes, what do you say your profession is? I was like, you know, I think my job is companionship. I think that's what we're here for, to be friends with everybody.
Starting point is 01:17:51 Like, when we do this show, we hope that if you're driving to work, we feel like your friends. We feel like you're driving in the car, you have your phone, you're listening online or through a podcast, and you feel like we're just kind of your companions, wherever you're going. So, Sandra, I appreciate that, and I hope you feel that way. Thanks. I appreciate you guys. All right.
Starting point is 01:18:07 See you later. Have a good day. Yeah, that's what I say now. What do you do? Well, I'm a professional companion. They're like, well, that's interesting. That could be illegal. Well, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:18:16 You know what I mean? You know who's got a good song now? This new Parmally song called Be All Right. And I heard them playing it because we were playing a festival with them a couple weeks ago. And I was like, I know that song from somewhere. This guy named Dee. And I mean Lewis, his pop's, big pop song. And my friend said, I know you love her, but it's over night.
Starting point is 01:18:54 He thought you know to put the phone away. And I heard this, I knew this song. And I was like, that, Parmali sounds like they're covering. And I went and talked to Matt, the lead singer. And he's like, yeah, we did it. It's like our next song. Wow, that's cool. It's so, and their version's so good.
Starting point is 01:19:09 And my friend said, I know you love a man, but it's too late. It doesn't matter. So check that out. Parmali, be all right. I think Matt from Parmali's coming back today to do a bobby cast because I saw him out because we were playing with them. And I was like, hey, man, I've talked to you in a while. Come by, let's talk. Let's catch up.
Starting point is 01:19:28 I know it wasn't right, but it was missing. By the way, Parmali, you would know this one. She feels like Carolina, California. Any thoughts? I like it. I like both versions. I had never heard the other one either. Yeah, the pop version is really good, too.
Starting point is 01:19:47 Yeah. And he sings with an accent. I know you love my boy. It's just all right. I'm a key ble elf, but I'm singing a song. And my friend said, I know you love her, but it's over night. So that would be the Bobbycast that goes up tonight,
Starting point is 01:20:02 but that has a good song. I told Amy during the break that I got on the internet because I, this allergy stuff, but my tongue is so sore on the back of it. So I googled it, which I should do always. And I was convinced that I have, like, tongue cancer. That's what said? Well, I even started Googling tongue bumps.
Starting point is 01:20:23 And it's really not something you want to look at a lot of pictures of. No. So I was a little scared last night. I'm alright, though. I'll be okay. It's subsided a bit. It's just allergies, man. You're fine.
Starting point is 01:20:36 Eddie, the internet told me it might not be. Yeah, it'll always tell you that. No, but really, it did. It told me it might not be. You should get it checked out. But I don't want to know if it. I just want to. Yeah, you do.
Starting point is 01:20:46 I just want to go in peace. I just want to go on peace. I just want to not know. The quicker you can take care of it. But what if it can't be? The internet said maybe it couldn't be taken care of. Oh, great. I'm telling you guys.
Starting point is 01:20:56 Okay. I do want to open the mailbag. Here we go. Bobby's Mailbag. Hey. So we get a lot of emails. Amy, read this one. My husband and I have been together nine years, married eight.
Starting point is 01:21:10 We have two kids, ages six and 12. Our top priority, of course, is our children. We don't like to leave them with anyone on the weekends. for us to do anything because we both work during the week and we want to spend time with them. But I would like to go out on a date with my husband occasionally, as I'm sure any wife would. Over the last few years after kids, we average maybe two dates a year, maybe, our anniversary and Valentine's Day, again, maybe. However, the last time we went out was in October of 2017.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Is it selfish of me to want to go out more often? Thanks. No, I think you have to communicate. that it's not even about this. I think that in any relationship, marriage, dating, friendships, even with Amy and I, like, if you don't communicate, like, your needs to be fulfilled, then you end up being resentful, silently resentful, which then turns into not silent resentful, and then it blows up and you've got to kind of work your way back. So I would say no, you should let your husband know.
Starting point is 01:22:10 Is there a phone number on there? No, but I can email her back, I guess. Get a phone number. I will send them on a date. Oh, wow. Do you know where they live? Do not. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:19 Well, let's find all that. I will send them on a date so then he doesn't, can't use an excuse like, you know, money's a little tight this week. But they also have two kids to have to get a babysitter. Okay, well, they can favor that. But I will send them on a date. I will send them to dinner and we'll send them to do something nice because she wants to go on a date. Let her go on a date. That's what I say.
Starting point is 01:22:39 Thank you, everyone. We'll see you next week here on Bobby's Millbag. And that was Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah, track her down. I'm emailing her right now. Yeah, we'll get a number. We'll actually see what's up with them. Yeah, but I'll do that.
Starting point is 01:22:52 Let me go over and talk to Sam. Hey, Sam in Arkansas. How's it going? Hey, it's going good. Thank you very much. We are all wonderful. We're here. What would you like to say?
Starting point is 01:23:04 Well, I talked to you about a month or so back about my son who prays for you every night, and he requested that I ask him to pray for you to find a girlfriend. He's three. So he's been faithfully praying for you every night along with everybody else in my family. And last night, he's like going through the motions saying his prayers for everybody. And he goes, and Bobby, and he looked at his big sigh, and he looked at me and said, him not find a girlfriend yet? Wait, let me get this straight.
Starting point is 01:23:34 You have a three-year-old. First of all, sounds like he's really into his prayers, which is great and tough to do to get a kid to do. That being said, he's saying a prayer for me, which I think. is amazingly nice. Two, he's saying a prayer for me to find a girlfriend. And three, he actually sighs in the middle of it. Well, he's been fakeslily praying for you. He's tired.
Starting point is 01:23:56 What three-year-old sighs in the middle of anything? Well, I don't want to let him down. I'm trying over here, Sam. What's your son's name? Harley. Tell Harley, I said, I appreciate it. And you know, if it doesn't take too much of a space in prayer time, I hope he does continue praying for me to find a girlfriend.
Starting point is 01:24:14 but I appreciate that. And I'll let you know, as soon as I find one, I will, hey, can we get, can we save her number? Because what I'd like to do is when I do finally make that announcement, I'd like to get Sam on the phone and tell her with you guys. Oh, okay. That would be cool. Oh, that's awesome.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Today's April 24th. It could be 2020, 2020. You may have moved on to another show. We may be off the year. I may call you from my house. But I will, I'd like to call you and tell you, okay? Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:44 Tell Harley. Tell Harley, I said, what up? Harley's going to be like 10. Harley's in college. He's like, what, Mom? Still praying every night. Yeah. Wait, who is that?
Starting point is 01:24:55 Wait, so there's no update to give right now? About. Well, dating? Like, how's it going? What do you want to know? What do you want to know? Morgan number two hit me about this last night, too. She was like, what's happening?
Starting point is 01:25:04 Because I've been talking about a lot, because I've been living my life more than talking about. Okay, well, then now's time to share. Like, what life have you been living? I've been going on some dates. but it's like I've been going on some dates okay for a man that speaks for a living
Starting point is 01:25:23 you're struggling right now I've been just last week I've been underwater with girls no I was like good job dude like I have just hit that like I've been underwater with work between Idol and the NFL draft
Starting point is 01:25:38 and it's not an excuse but I had been going on all time sensitive this It's not super recent. But I haven't gone on some dates. I did get oddly, yeah. Oddly what? You can finish. This is a safe space.
Starting point is 01:25:52 It's not, though. I've learned this is not a safe space. Yes, it is. And I learned the safest spaces are not when someone says this is the safe space. Because any time you guys say that, it turns it to be nuts. It's safe with me. Anything you want to know specifically? Yeah, you were just about to tell us a story about something.
Starting point is 01:26:07 Okay, I'll tell you a story that doesn't have to do it exactly right now. Okay. I didn't actually meet someone on an airplane that was a passenger. What? I know. That's your dream. I know. And I love thinking it was.
Starting point is 01:26:20 This is my dream. No, it's been a, who knows? Okay. But. Do I know that you've gone out with this person? I don't think so. I don't think. Rude.
Starting point is 01:26:29 I know. I know. I'm just trying. There's nothing. There's nothing. Okay. Y'all met on a plane, but have you hung out? I have no.
Starting point is 01:26:39 When the time is ready, I'll let you know. British to live. Listen, don't worry. And it's not, how do you know that's even current? Oh, you know, geography's a thing? How do you know that's even current? Okay, you're right. Because I have to keep everything a bit broken up by weeks
Starting point is 01:26:51 so people can't identify themselves in these situations. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. But yeah, anyway, there's really no update. Keep praying, is all I say. A little Harley. I wish everybody would pray for that. Man, I'll pray.
Starting point is 01:27:04 So wait, wait, wait, when's the last time you smoozed a girl? That's been a while. What time is it? He's like, what month is this? This hiker finds a little puppy, and he's like, this is cool. He's in Southern California. He's like, I found this puppy, and it's abandoned. He's walking through a canyon, and so he grabs it.
Starting point is 01:27:29 It's like, all right, takes it home. It calls the San Diego Humane Society because he wants to make sure that it gets the shots it needs and whatever. Well, they're like, ah, this is a coyote. Oh, no. What? Oh, oh, oh, no. Wow. Could have eaten him. Cute little puppy.
Starting point is 01:27:48 Siding an officer at Project Wildlife, the San Diego Union Tribune reports that the pups rescue was actually a coyote. And they often move from their dens. And so that's what was happening. They saw and grabbed it. They're like, well, you're lucky you didn't grab it. Then the mom got you. Yeah. So, yeah, rescued a coyote except now they took it back.
Starting point is 01:28:09 Wow. And they got to kind of find-ish where it was. That's like when people have like bobcats. They find a cat. It's like a bobcat. Catherine in Florida, you're on. Hi. What's happening?
Starting point is 01:28:23 How are y'all? We're real good. Good. I've been listening for like 13 years. Bobby, you came and spoke at my career day when I was in seventh grade about 12 years ago. And I've read both your books, your huge inspiration to me, listen to you guys every day and love every one of you. I came and spoke at your career day in seventh grade. Yep.
Starting point is 01:28:43 How good was that speech? Yeah. What do I say to seventh graders about career? I mean, really, what do I say to you remember? Similar stuff to fail until you don't. But, I mean, obviously you were at a different point in your career, so you hadn't had a lot of the success yet. But, yeah, a lot of the same principles and beliefs.
Starting point is 01:29:00 Wow. Well, I'm glad that you remember that. It makes me feel good. And thanks for calling the show. Wait, and you live where? I live in Miami. And where did I come speak? Did I come to Miami to speak at a career day?
Starting point is 01:29:11 Or did someone just look like? me did? No, it was at Lake Travis Middle School. Oh, okay. Wow. I was like, oh my gosh, Bobby, she thinks you're somebody else. Yeah, yeah. No way he was speaking.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Amy's like, she thinks she called Tony Robbins. Relax. Oh, man. I literally like off mic was looking at Bobby and was like, she's like, she definitely has you confused with somebody else. A boy called Clay Aiken came and saying that wasn't you. I was like 12 years ago, Bobby Miami junior high, that's weird. And if it was, that shouldn't be out there.
Starting point is 01:29:39 But it was me, Catherine, right? It was you. Okay, yeah, Lake Travis makes sense. Hey, thank you so much for calling. We appreciate you. Of course. Have a great day. See you later.
Starting point is 01:29:49 Which, by the way, I guess not this weekend, but next we're going to do IHard Country Festival. Yeah. How about that? That's going to be big, and I hope you guys. By the way, hey, where's my sponsor read? I'm supposed to do a sponsor with that whenever I mention it? Our IHR country festivals next weekend brought to you by Capital One, which is going to be pretty awesome. And the raging edits are playing, Eddie and I in our band.
Starting point is 01:30:11 But our song, Jesus knows, comes out. tomorrow finally. We weren't going to put it out until the record, but like every church in town is like we need this song to play. Okay. They want it for Sunday. Yeah. Because the whole song's about...
Starting point is 01:30:23 I'm surprised y'all didn't drop it before Easter. I know. Oh, God. What we think they're. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. These stories are so amazing to me when they find out something's wrong with you because
Starting point is 01:30:36 of something else that happened. Oh, yeah, yeah. For example, back in the day on Survivor, there was Jimmy Johnson who coached the Cowboys for a long time. He was going to go be on Survivor, and he was, but they found out because of his physical, that it's something wrong with his heart. Wow. And saved his life. Yeah. Oh, I know someone who fell off a horse and broke their collarbone, and when they had the x-rays for that, they found a tumor. Okay, that's what this story is, kind of. Oh. A roller coaster ride saved a woman's life when it triggered vomiting fits, which led to doctors finding the brain
Starting point is 01:31:05 tumor. She had no symptoms, and it rattled the tumor, like the cart, you know, It shakes around. So she goes, I've had a big birthday party. She got off the ride and she had a sore head and she was throwing up and she was like, what does it have to do? And they were like, you have a tumor. And because you got sick on this roller coaster and it hurts your head, we were able to find the tumor.
Starting point is 01:31:26 And it looks like they're going to be able to take it out. It's a tangerine-sized brain tumor. Wow. Found it because the roller coaster ride was a little too tough on her. Wow. Crazy, huh? Yeah. That's good.
Starting point is 01:31:39 Listen, it's good. We're going wow. Yeah, it's good. They found it. Totally good. Because, yeah, had they not, who knows what would happen next? Who was your friend with the horse? My friend in North Carolina when I lived there, when you were stationed there.
Starting point is 01:31:49 Yeah, she, like, all of a sudden she was like, I just found out I have cancer. And I was like, whoa. Because she fell off a horse. Like, the town we lived in, was big for horses and golf. And, like, yeah, it was really normal for my friends there to have horses. Wow. There you go. That's what's all about.
Starting point is 01:32:05 Good stuff right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. William and Austin. What's up, bud? What's going on? Man, you appreciate you. What you want to say? Not much, man.
Starting point is 01:32:15 I've been long time, not even know how many years back when y'all were in 96.7, and I was playing versus y'all in the Bobby Bones kickball tournament. It's been awesome. I even stationed out in Georgia, and one morning I was scrolling through the stations and heard your voice and as broken as it was, and I could barely understand you. I said, and still listen. No, I appreciate that. Hey, thanks for serving, too.
Starting point is 01:32:38 What are you up to now? Just back in Austin finally Just got out of the middle camp Seven years Working down in Austin And actually You're gonna ask How in the world
Starting point is 01:32:47 Can I find your books Man I'm actually still living in Colleen but working in Austin And I can't find your books anywhere Yeah they stopped making them I sold too many And they were like we can't The paper won't
Starting point is 01:32:57 We can find enough paper Of these books Chopin out to me dreams No hey I'll tell you what I'll send you one How about that I'll sign one for you and send it to you bud Dude that'd be amazing Which one you want
Starting point is 01:33:06 You want? Fail until you don't My latest I want the first one You want bare bones My first one? Wow Bear bones All right
Starting point is 01:33:15 I think I have some of those at the house And I can I appreciate it Do I have any of those here Morgan number one? No I don't have any more of those Don't worry I'll write it all by hand Oh
Starting point is 01:33:24 Wow I'll go home Yeah I'll go home Take a pen now And write that whole sucker All right I'm gonna put you on hold And then I will make sure
Starting point is 01:33:33 God is my witness I will get you a bare bones book sign Okay William I appreciate it man Thank you. That's awesome. Appreciate you, bud. See you later. So there's a show that we do on the weekends, and I'm executive producing the show now,
Starting point is 01:33:46 and Amy's actually hosting it. But I pick all the songs, and then Amy comes in and nails it, and it's all females in country music. And what I did, I mean, just candidly speaking, in my last contract negotiation, I said I would like to have an hour of national time to highlight new female artists, current female artists who I can actually affect the chart a little bit with,
Starting point is 01:34:06 and also remind a lot of, these radio programmers and even people, how strong some of the female artists have been over the past 15, 20 years. And it's getting a bit better now, but let's not act like it's all the same, because it's not for females and country music. And so the show comes on and when we highlight these artists, but there's a new artist named Ingrid Andres, Ingrid Andrus, Ingrid Andres, right? We've been playing on the show. I've been playing it for weeks now, and I haven't played it on this show yet, because I just haven't thought about it, but her song is so good. It's called Ladylike. reminds me a lot of myself.
Starting point is 01:34:39 That's why. You just hear a song? It touches you at the core. I don't think I'm madder. I'd like to book her for the show. If you guys are listening in the glass room, that would be cool. But another one of my friends brought her up to me. She was like, hey, I heard that song you were playing on the weekend show, Ingrid Andrew.
Starting point is 01:34:55 It's on the Walgreens. It's going to require customers to be 21 to buy tobacco or cigarettes. And listen, I don't like smoking. I don't, I've never smoked. It's not my thing. It's just weird to say you can be 18 and do some adult things and 21 and do other adult things. Like, I just think there's got to be a universal adult age. Walgreens will require customers to be at least 21 years old to purchase tobacco products in all
Starting point is 01:35:18 stores. The new chain-wide policy will begin September 1st, and it's the most recent step in an ongoing effort to prevent youth access to tobacco products. Again, I don't think smoking is good, but it's just a bad move for me, unless you want to make everything 21. We make everything 21. You can't vote. You can't go serve. You can't go. But, but, you don't, but, if you're saying 18 years old is when you're old enough to make adult decisions and that should be the rule. If it's not 18, make it 21. If it's not 20, make it 25.
Starting point is 01:35:48 What do I care? I'm older than that now. This is make it how old I am. I'm the only one that gets to do it. But I just, I guess it's too much common sense for them to just have one single adult age. And when you hit that adult age, you should only get to do adult things. So, yeah, Walgreens has faced its share of criticism when it comes to tobacco products. By the way, kids, don't smoke.
Starting point is 01:36:09 One, just pragmatically speaking, it's expensive. Two, you will get cancer in your lungs and it will not feel good. And three, it's just gross. Like, how many girls want to go and make out with a dude's been smoking all day? Because if a lot of do, I might start smoking. Yeah, I just think that there needs to be a universal age of adult. Yeah, but it seems like Walgreens, I mean, they're just as a company. They're like, okay, we're...
Starting point is 01:36:35 No, no, I absolutely get it. I'm just saying in general, not even about this one little thing. But it's seriously, we're going to allow you to vote at 18, which is the most precious thing that we can allow. We're picking our leaders, but you can't go buy a lottery ticket. I guess you can't at 18. You can't go buy a beer. Right. That's all.
Starting point is 01:36:58 I will give a shout out, though, to some lawmakers because this daylight savings time, just using common sense. They're trying to get it no more. Oh, thank goodness. I will vote for them. What else is on their platform? I don't even care Don't get me started because I think there's
Starting point is 01:37:11 only road construction at night period like okay road crews I know your job stinks but I don't I'm not trying to drive through construction in the daytime there are more cars out there
Starting point is 01:37:20 let's only do it at night How? By the way let me get to the story The Tennessee House has advanced a proposal that would keep the state on daylight savings time year round I don't even know which one of that is
Starting point is 01:37:30 which hour of forward or back but I don't care let's just keep it the same So I want to shout out here but they say on daylight savings time is the only time you can buy cigarettes apparently, too, according to their law. It's not true. It's not true.
Starting point is 01:37:42 It's not true. The House voted 86 to 5 on Monday for legislation. Who were those five people? The love fall back and spring forward? If I were running against them in the next whatever campaign, I'll be like, oh, so Franklin D. Wilson, you voted against
Starting point is 01:37:58 daylight savings time staying and the same. That'd get him kicked out immediately. Yeah. So we got to stop. We've got to stop this, whatever this The gimmick is a moving our clocks backward and forward. It's cute. Only one time, whenever you get more daylight so you can go play outside longer.
Starting point is 01:38:15 Yeah, that's where I think we should keep it. Let's swing forward. Right where we are. I don't care. We keep it. Let's just keep it consistent. You'll care if you want to be outside. I don't want to be outside.
Starting point is 01:38:23 Okay. The end. I don't understand you guys. When you guys talk about that, I don't understand how you can just not do it. I know there are states that do and I don't understand. So they're always on the wrong time. No, they're on their own time. Half the time they're on a different time and half the time they're on regular time.
Starting point is 01:38:37 Like Arizona, they do. not observe it. But it's a time zone. It's California. It's not a different time than New York all the time. Yeah. You just deal with it. The weirdest thing for me is living near a time zone change.
Starting point is 01:38:47 Like let's say Chattanooga, Tennessee, for example. Because five minutes, you're in Central. Five minutes later, you're in Eastern. Crazy. That to me is nutty. Man. All right. Those are my thoughts.
Starting point is 01:39:00 All right. So Morgan number two is 25 years old and she does our social media and she does our web page. It's a Bobby Bones show Sometimes she goes out on dates And goes out and meets guys And so what did a guy say to you That irritated you a little bit? Well, I was out with one of my girlfriends
Starting point is 01:39:16 And she knew that I was kind of interested in this guy And we'd seen each other a few times And she was like, so like, what do you like about her? And the first thing that he said was She's very accomplished. What's wrong with that? It's nice. You are accomplished.
Starting point is 01:39:30 I know, but like, I was just kind of expecting Like, I don't know something about my personality or something nice about me. You want to be told pretty, huh? No, no, no. It's such a weird thing for a guy. Go ahead, Amy. You go first.
Starting point is 01:39:43 Okay, just from 30,000 feet, wasn't there. But, like, I feel like accomplished is saying something about your personality. I think that wrapped up in that, he sees you as driven, successful, smart. Because, I mean, I don't feel like you get to an accomplished state, especially at your age, like in his mind, without having all of that. And it's a no-win situation. Because if you go, well, why does it get? Well, because she's hot.
Starting point is 01:40:08 Right. Oh, that's what I am. Yeah. I'm hot. That's the first thing. Because trust me, I've been there. Yeah. You're like, well, because you're cute.
Starting point is 01:40:17 Oh, that's what you think first? Cute. Okay, you're accomplished. Oh, now, I'm accomplished. Accomplished what? Trying to make up for saying another. There's just, that's a huge. That's an all-encompassing compliment.
Starting point is 01:40:28 He probably just wanted to say you're hot, but didn't want to get in trouble. Well, I just, I guess I was taken back because I've never heard somebody say it that way before. I have heard people say like you're really driven or you're really hardworking. But accomplish even bigger than that. Yeah. Man, you... Yeah, he feels like at 25, like you've accomplished a lot. Yeah, you've accomplished a hot body.
Starting point is 01:40:49 You've got a house. You got a job. Well, maybe he did mean that you take care of yourself. You work out. Yes. Good hair. Morgan number two, I think you're trying too hard to make things not happen at this point. Okay.
Starting point is 01:41:01 Because that's a good compliment. Okay. I won't take it personally. Did you want to hear like, you think your, like, but in a good way. She said she would rather hear something about her personality. That's what she said. Okay, but you can't pick and choose what someone else is going to say about you.
Starting point is 01:41:16 But I think that accomplishes something about your personality, too. What's the greatest compliments to make it, could give you? That I have a good heart. That would be like the best compliment. But does he know your heart yet? I mean, we've known each other for a decent amount of time. Like how long? I mean, a couple months.
Starting point is 01:41:33 But a heart, like that's consistent over time. time. Listen, you just need to relax. Stop trying to find things wrong with dudes. This is all she's doing. Yeah, maybe that's it. How's that going, by the way? It's going.
Starting point is 01:41:45 I mean, I feel like a little bit more into going on dates. I'm still like, oh, still dead inside? Yeah, a little bit. Clearly, I don't even want to be accomplished. Clearly. She's like, I just want, I'm dead inside, but I want him to know that I have a good heart. It's the only thing alive.
Starting point is 01:42:03 Yeah. It's weird. It's weird, though, because I'm single, too, and it's like, I want someone who's going to be all about me, but not be about me at all. That's so true. It's tricky. It's very tricky. And it's how we put these super unfair expectations on, well, ourselves, but other people, too. Like, I want someone who's going to be like, man, can't wait to be around you all the time.
Starting point is 01:42:26 But then I'll also be like, eh, I got my own thing to do. I can't have time to be around you. You know, it's a tough, it's a tough give and take, man. Morgan number two. Are you going out with this guy or no? I mean, probably a few more dates, yeah. A few more dates? You're committed like three more dates?
Starting point is 01:42:43 Yeah, I mean, we've hung out a few times, but I just don't know that I'm ready to commit to anything yet, period. Is he making you commit? No. Then stop worrying about it. He just wants to hang out a lot, and I'm kind of like, don't, I don't want to hang out. I'll hang out with you when I'm ready to hang out with you. And that's good on you.
Starting point is 01:42:58 Yeah, it's good on you. How's the new house? It's good. About your first house? Yeah. I saw you mowed the yard twice. I did. accomplished.
Starting point is 01:43:05 Yeah. See? Uh-huh. It's a good thing. How's the dog like the backyard? She loves it. She gets nice and muddy, so I installed also a little pet one for her. I did that too, so I'm a plumber now, too.
Starting point is 01:43:16 And how do guys, if they're listening to you and they want to meet you? Where do they meet you? I mean, Jason Aldeens on the weekend or on my Instagram at Webgirl Morgan. Are they hitting you up? His bar. His bar. No, his house. No, his house.
Starting point is 01:43:29 She hangs up. She did Jason Aldean's house every weekend. Every weekend's concert. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the bar. So do guys hit you up on your, slide your DMs? Yeah. Has that worked? You've met one of them?
Starting point is 01:43:41 Well, I just recently actually matched with a guy who had DM'd me and were now kind of texting. So I guess it worked for him. I didn't respond on DM. I responded over the app, but I'm a little iffy on those DMs. So it goes from app to DM to text. Yeah. One, two, three, to meet. I guess.
Starting point is 01:44:01 To baby. Wow. Oh, baby. Bobby Bones is on. So Nick Cage filed for anonement after four days. He got married for four days. Wow. Yeah, it says he was too drunk to understand.
Starting point is 01:44:16 So he got married and was like... To understand what? I don't know. Where were they? Well, Nicholas Cage married this girl Erica for four days. Now he's asked for an annulment claiming fraud. Plus the fact that he did not have the ability to recognize the full impact of his actions. He claims he was too...
Starting point is 01:44:35 drunk to understand. He claims he was too drunk when he agreed to marry Erica Koyki in the filing for annulment. Yeah, she's a makeup artist, file for a marriage license on Saturday, received their marriage certificate the same day. Four days later, he's like, no, not for me. And Erica says, I don't know about this. She wants spousal support.
Starting point is 01:44:57 Four days. She's cool, but she wants spousal support. She also claims that if you're, she wants spousal support. that a few days after Cage filed for annulment, he asked her to start again in the right way. So, I mean, he probably got really drunk, got married. They probably were together. And he didn't sign a pre-up. And it's like, oh.
Starting point is 01:45:21 But she said. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So he wants to do this while you're still in that window where you can annul. And then if he does it the right way, then he gets back with their, finger quotes the right way. Finger quotes the right way. He can have her sign a prenuptial agree. He's nutty, man. Doesn't he buy, like, dinosaur testicles and stuff? Does he?
Starting point is 01:45:39 I have no idea. Doesn't he buy, like, weird stuff? Fossils and... He's got a little too much time on his hands. A little too much time. Look up Nick Cage's net worth. I bet that dude is so loaded. I'm Googling Nicholas Cage dinosaur testicles. And unexpected. Whoa. What's he got at lunch? He, oh man. He's earned over $150 million, but a His net worth is only $25 million. He's spent a lot of money. Oh, Erica's got all that. Is that her name?
Starting point is 01:46:10 Erica? She's already got it. I mean, I can't believe she wants spousal support. Like, that's why women are crazy to be married four days and think they deserve some of the money. Like, that's what's wrong with women. Are you kidding me? If a man was married to, like, I don't know, Taylor Swift for four days, he'd be like, Spousal Support, please.
Starting point is 01:46:27 Listen, he bought a dinosaur skull. Oh, that's cool. Just a different part of the body. How much that costs? For like $276,000. And that's why he is only, oh. Here's one. Nick Cage apparently spent $150,000 on a private island.
Starting point is 01:46:44 That's so that's what he does with this money. No, that is so baller, though, if you have your own private island. Hey, you want to go on a date? Yeah, I'm going to take it to my private island. What up? That doesn't sound like a trap. Hold on. This dinosaur skull story is kind of cool.
Starting point is 01:46:58 He won it at an auction after winning a bidding contest against Leonardo to for the skull. And then after being contacted by authorities, he discovered that the skull was stolen from the Mongolian government. So he had to return it. Is this a national treasure movie? No. Is it? Is it? No.
Starting point is 01:47:17 It's not. It's a new synopsis. It's not. Starring Joe and Nick. I remember this. Okay. But. I mean, this is on Reddit.
Starting point is 01:47:23 If you have a dinosaur skull, it's probably going to be stolen from somewhere. Yeah. Oh. Like, somebody just didn't have a dinosaur. You just don't find them in the backyard. It didn't have an extra one. Right. And it's like, I'm going to auction this off.
Starting point is 01:47:36 Nick Cage apparently spent another $150,000 on a pet octopus. What? Oh, and he bought a haunted mansion. He spent $150,000 on the first Superman comic book. See? He spent $450,000 on the late shot of Iran's Lamborghini. This is great. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:55 He sprung for a nine-foot-tall burial tomb. He bought pygmy heads, shrunken pygmy heads. shrunken pygmy heads. Oh yeah, yeah, I've heard of those. Nick Cage needs a girl. Oh, wow. This is like me and shoes. He's got red ones and green.
Starting point is 01:48:11 Like, Bobby needs a girlfriend. Oh, my gosh. For over $250,000, he had two king cobras named Moby and Shiba. Get out of here. This is awesome. Nick Cage once owned 15 residences, including a $25 million waterfront home in California, a $15 million countryside of state in Newport, Rhode Island, an $8.5 million dollar adobe in Las Vegas.
Starting point is 01:48:31 And those were just three of the 15. What's up? Abode. Thank you. I'm reading this from far away. Like an Adobe hut. Wait. Is that even weird?
Starting point is 01:48:40 No. I believe it. I just assumed you bought an expensive mud hut. I didn't realize he has aged, you know? Because I just have him in my head as like face off. Yeah. Because he's living his best life. That's face old.
Starting point is 01:48:53 Yeah. This is face old. I mean, we're all aging. So it's just. How is Nick Cage? I just haven't seen him like in a while. Nick Cage, man, living the life. Listen, hell?
Starting point is 01:49:05 He's like 55. He's only 55. This picture looks way older. Well, you know what? But he's definitely dying his heir. I'm going to say this. Live your life. If you're not hurting people, you're being good to kids and animals, live your life.
Starting point is 01:49:15 And that's what he is doing. Yeah, he is. I mean, what's his best movie you think? You have to go through Nick Cage movies. Oh, Conair. Conair was great. Leaving Las Vegas. Great.
Starting point is 01:49:24 I like National Treasure. Those are all good. Did y'all not like Face Off? Because I thought it was fantastic. The Rock was good. Oh, the rock is really good. Gone in 60 seconds. Oh, that might be the best.
Starting point is 01:49:36 Oh, the angel one. Oh, city of angels. Yes. Oh, no. Also the one where he's like, no. There's the one where he's like, Angels among us. He's like married to a woman, but he dies, but he's in the movie still.
Starting point is 01:49:47 Hold, please. I've seen that. It's good. Yeah, it's called like Angels in the Outfield. No. No, bones. Okay. Anyway.
Starting point is 01:49:56 Was he in Spider-Man, Spider-Verce? City of Angels. Oh, yes. He was a voice in. He was a voice in Spider-Man. City of Angels. There's another one. No, but that's the one where Goo Goo-Doll's Iris came from.
Starting point is 01:50:06 And I don't want to see me. It was Meg Ryan, right? Yes, that's a good one. There you go. Anything else I'm missing on the Nick Cage movies? We didn't do it. Oh, he was in that one. Ghost Rider.
Starting point is 01:50:21 Oh, yeah, Ghost Rider was one, too. Yeah. Man, okay. Well, it's been a good Nick Cage segment. I'm impressed. That's awesome, all the stuff he's bought. And he got a lot of big movies. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:30 Like a lot. Hey, he doesn't hang on to his money. He likes to live. I love it. That's how you're supposed to do it. Do you have any kids? He has two kids. The family man.
Starting point is 01:50:40 They're probably like dad. Chill on the shrunken heads. Can we chill on the ostrichists for 1312? Bobby Boom. I know you're not a big Game of Thrones fan, but the episode this week has the longest fights in of any movie or TV show ever. Oh, wow. They break all kinds of records.
Starting point is 01:50:58 In the history of movies and television, this will be the longest battle sequence in film or TV history, which is pretty cool. They've been just setting us up for the last two episodes. But they've been really good, too. But I don't want to talk too long about it because you guys aren't Game of Thronesers. A lot of people listening are. I don't know if they are or not. But what's going on today? Today got some podcast interviews and then mainly some shopping for Sashiro's birthday.
Starting point is 01:51:24 It's tomorrow. So some little last minute things for her day to make it special. tomorrow. Did you give her my birthday presents? Tonight. We're going to give them to her tonight. So she doesn't have to wait till her birthday. Actually, she'll get it. I think we're going to do like after dinner tonight. I told her she could open a few presents because they've just been sitting there on the counter like taunting her. But it was her decision to wait too. But then she's like, I think she's getting a little eager. And that way you can kind of spread it out tonight and tomorrow. I have NFL draft meetings all day today. The draft starts tomorrow in Nashville. And so I have to go sit in. I don't even know what I'm. I don't even know what I'm. I know what I'm doing, but I don't know what I'm doing today. Like they have all the talent, they're like six of us. I'm supposed to sit in a room today and just kind of go over what we're doing the next two days.
Starting point is 01:52:07 So I think I'm doing ESPN, like the college game day crew is doing stuff tomorrow at like five, four on ESPN. Then I do that. Then I go over to ABC and then I do the draft and then I do it Friday too. But I don't really know. And it may rain. We've got to talk about contingency plans. Oh. So I'm doing that all that today.
Starting point is 01:52:27 If I finish early, I could come over and give her. her gifts. Oh, okay. Yeah, I mean, super close to where you'll be. So let me know. I think... Super close. Well, it's not, not far. Closer than where you live, you're actually on the right side of town. Stop by whenever the girl, we have a girl gang walk today, or our girl group on our east side. Now, the girl group does this show. I know. I was like, what do we call it? It is the girl gang here. But, yeah, I think we have a, I just saw my calendar. We have a walk. Lunchbox. Oh, I'm getting on an airplane, heading to the Big W, Wichita for a concert tonight.
Starting point is 01:52:58 So I'm going there to host the station event. It's Bobby's Class of 2019 concert. In Nashville, in Wichita. They booked every one of the artists. Oh, wow. Yeah. Eddie, do you do anything? Yeah, my son, my little five-year-old, he plays baseball, and he needs a lot of gear.
Starting point is 01:53:17 So we're going to go buy him one of those cool bags and make him a real baseball player. Sounds cheap. Where you could put all those baseball bats and gloves in there and all sorts of stuff. I don't know what they put in there. All right, you guys. Have a good day. We'll see it tomorrow. Thanks for listening to the show today.
