The Bobby Bones post show pre-show.
We have finished Thursday's show.
It's something I really meant to get to.
but I ran out of time is Hillary, who is in our glass room.
We call her utility Hillary because she does a little bit of everything.
And it's really been filling in a lot as we get our new executive producer who's coming in.
Hillary, come on in the studio here.
Have a seat.
You can just grab that mic if you want.
Yom, you got a gift.
By the way, is there a gift you need to bring me in here?
Is it in there?
Okay, go grab it.
I was told from Hillary that I have a gift and I might be offended by the gift.
Who's it from?
I don't know.
I don't know anything about it.
Offended.
Here it, it's in a white box.
So what is this?
Hmm.
Let's see here.
Oh.
Amazon.
Like you could be anything.
I'm like, ooh.
Really anything.
Well, it's a black box with, it looks, this is for one of the games.
It's just like figure out what this is.
I'll be screwed.
It's a black box.
Isn't that a breathalizer?
It kind of, it's got a ball in it.
It kind of looks like a breathalizer.
It does.
Oh, there's a note on here.
Hey Bobby, after listening to your interview with Marin,
I thought this gift would help you.
In exchange, would you mind signing my book?
From a superfan, Marin's monitor guy, Chris's mom,
Joyce Daniels, Hampstead, New Hampshire.
So Marin Morris's monitor guy who runs...
Sound ears like I have here.
His mom.
Okay.
And so what does this do?
It's a hearing aid cleaner.
Oh, for my ears.
That's a great idea.
Oh, that's not even...
Okay, so people just knew.
hearing aid. So old people with hearing aids, or young people, I guess they have an injury,
they use this for hearing aids, but they also use this on tour with ears.
Wow.
Because I was asking Marin how she cleans her ears, because mine are always disgusting.
Oh, well, that's a nice gift.
I know. I didn't know what it was for, and then I remembered you talked about Marin.
You talked with Marin about that, cleaning your in ears.
Look at that. That's a nice gift.
I just saw that Maron and Hozier are putting out the bones together tonight.
Oh, really? I saw that coming.
Is it because he started playing it?
Yeah. And maybe I already knew and just didn't say anything.
I'm not sure, but it'll be cool.
That's a good song too.
It's written about me as well.
I love when other stations play it.
Bones.
Yeah, because they have to be like the bones.
You get to meet Martina McBride?
I did.
And I saw on your Instagram that that was like your hero?
That was like the best moment of my life, yeah.
How did that come together?
So she was up here, had no idea she was going to be here doing an interview with another
show and somebody said, Martina McBride is in the building.
And I started freaking out.
I was shaking.
I was like, you've got to be kidding me.
I've been waiting for this moment since.
I was 10 years old, and then she was across the hall.
And when she got done, her manager let me meet her.
And how was it?
It was awesome.
She was so nice.
What did you say to her?
I said, you were the first album I bought, the first concert I went to.
The whole reason I went to one moved to Nashville was because of you, and I'm just a very
big fan.
And you said that all to her?
Is it the first thing you said?
That was like the first thing I said to her.
And what did she say back?
I freaked out.
She said, thank you.
She was so nice.
She said, thank you.
She gave me a hug.
And she was like, that's so sweet.
My favorite song was from her.
Oh, good.
She was really nice.
Yeah.
Yeah, she was awesome.
She talked to me for a while.
She asked me where the show was my first concert.
It was back home.
It was with Alan Jackson.
So she asked me a lot of questions.
And you guys got a picture.
And did you guys record anything?
Or was it just like an in passing?
Like, what up?
It was just in passing.
That's cool.
Yeah, I was really excited.
I also saw on Hillary's Instagram.
You're still doing a show, like a weekend show?
Yes.
I'm on air in my hometown, Jacksonville, Florida.
And what do you do on that show?
It's by myself. I just go in. It's from 10 to 2. Do you do the morning corny?
Yeah, I don't.
We listen to Hillary's show. It's all the bits more show.
So it's your hometown station. What's it called?
991 WQIK. Are we on that station?
We're not. The countdown is. We're not. The morning show isn't.
Who's on that station in the morning? It's the local show. One of the guys has been there for like over 40 years. It's Robbie, John, and Tony in the mornings.
Robbie, John, and Tony. Three dudes?
Tony's a girl. So it's a girl.
girl and then two guys. Do you know them? I do. I actually used to work for the morning show. I would
fill in a lot for them. So I was like the co-host fill in for their show and I'd help them out a lot.
Would a goal of yours be to go back and either produce or beyond that show? I don't know. I love
Nashville so much. So that's one of those things for me of I really want to be in the city. So I don't
really know if I want to move back home. But if the opportunity ever came up, I would talk with them about
it and really think about it. But I just love Nashville so much. But also you love your job here.
No, no, she does. But I can tell you, I had a conversation with someone and you've just been killing
it here. You've had to feel like 18 roles at once because we were just without and we've been looking
for an executive producer, which we've hired by the way. And you used to have spent some time with
Steve, right? I did. He's awesome. And so he'll be, but now you know how to do everything.
And I was like, hey, I don't know what Hillary's goals are. But if she, like, I think you're
If you wanted to, I think you're equipped to go produce a show like that, like go be their main producer.
So I guess it's just kind of what you want to do.
Right.
So I just wondered if that would be your deal, if that's something you'd ever want to.
I'd never want to hold you back if that's what your deal was, you know, because you got a nice dip into all of it.
Like you now know how to do everything, which is great for me because it means you're that much stronger here on this show.
But if ever you're like, I think I want to go produce that show.
I think you'd be right on for it.
And if they didn't hire you, I'd fire all of them.
I'd make a call.
Fire everybody.
So, but would you go back and produce that show?
I don't know.
I think the only time I would go back is if it was a co-host position offered.
Would you go back and co-host that show?
I'd have to think about it.
I really do love Nashville, so we'll see.
Good, good, good, good.
I don't know.
All right, there she is.
Hillary, everybody.
There she is.
Doing it all, behind the scenes.
Mark that off my list.
One other thing I wanted to talk about, because I'm going to do some stuff for
Dancing with Stars, so I got to go. But
have you guys seen the Aaron Carter face tattoo
pictures? Have you guys seen those?
Raymondo, you watching Aaron Carter at all
on Instagram? It seems like a guy you'd be into.
Yeah, so me and my chick have been
falling. He goes live every day.
Multiple times a day, he'll just go live
on Instagram. And what does he say?
He'll be at the gas station, paying for gas, getting
cigarettes, he'll be making music all the time
he's doing beats. Maybe the crappiest
beats I've ever heard, but he'll go, all right, yeah, yeah, this
is how I build it. Yep, perfect. Yeah, that needs a little
something more. All right, I'll drop it harder, drop it harder.
That's what he does.
So that's how he builds him.
People rip on him.
He'll pin their comments and say, all right, you want to say something like that troll?
I'm saving your comment.
And then he saves it on his computer.
These people's names and handles and stuff.
Like, creepy, creepy stuff.
He's the type of guy to get a face tattoo.
He had a whole side of his face.
I read a story.
I'm looking at it now.
That he asked the tattoo artist to do his whole face.
And the tattoo artist was like, no.
What?
Like to cover his whole face and tattoo.
Who is this guy?
Aaron Carter.
Nick Carter's old brother.
Oh, okay.
And now Nick Carter has a restraining order out against him.
Whoa.
His brother.
Yeah.
Face tattoo artist tried to stop him eventually cut him off.
He has, I think it's Medusa all on the side of his face.
I wonder how that guys have money anymore.
Oh, he's loaded.
He's got a great house, great rides.
He has all kinds of bling on, too.
Well, don't let bling for you.
Like a house, if somebody's got a cool house,
then maybe they've paid the bills and earned that.
But the bling is never really an.
indicator. I know a lot of people
that have a little bit of bling, got
no money. Like my uncle.
Who's that? Oh, my uncle growing up.
He had a catac, dressed in a suit,
a lot of gold, and he lived in a trailer.
He spent his money on that.
Yeah, that's what he liked. But then you go home
and be like, man, you live in a little trailer.
You know what? And God bless him. If that's the way
he wants to spend his money, good for him.
But just not an indicator on...
Right, but he wanted
people to think that he had a lot of money.
Yeah. What are you reading, Amy? The tattoo artist said,
before I tattoo anyone, I take into consideration their mental state.
In Aaron's case, I assessed the situation and I genuinely felt he was a good place mentally
to get tattooed on the side of his face.
That's what they settled on.
Aaron wanted it right in the middle, which I guess this same tattoo artist has done the Takashi
6-9 dude's face.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
They got it snitching on everybody.
And, yeah.
Yeah, it looks rough, man.
Wow, wow, wow.
Ray, do you think this guy, do you think he's sick?
he's a crazy dude.
He just got a face tap, but
I feel he's getting his life
kind of back together.
He's dating.
The chicks he dates are semi-normal.
And they have typical couple conversations.
And then he'll say the weird stuff
where he goes,
ah, what if I pulled out a gun right now?
And it's like, oh, that's weird.
Don't say that.
And to all his live feeders.
And so we're all just watching him.
Like, oh, should I turn this off?
Is that why you're watching, though?
Because you wonder what's going to happen?
I'm telling you funny stuff happens.
People won't know who he is.
He'll stage stuff with paparazzi.
So he'll go live.
and he'll be like, all right, these people are taking my picture.
What exactly you guys want?
What pictures you want?
But it was obviously staged.
Pop-Rotzi doesn't want pictures of him.
And then, I mean, there's times he'll be paying for stuff.
And one time he got declined.
Card didn't even have enough to pay for it.
And so then he asked, he had a bodyguard, oddly.
And he goes, hey, man, can I get a couple of five for my pack of cigarettes?
Because you didn't have money to pay.
The card didn't even work.
And the shop attendant was like, you know, you don't have any money on that card.
Like, it's funny stuff.
You think he's sick, like, box?
Yes, absolutely. When you watch this stuff, there's something wrong with him.
Like, I watch it a little bit. I don't watch it as much as Ray. I've watched little clips.
There is something wrong with the dude. It's sad.
Well, and on that note.
Well, I mean, the fact that Aaron or Mick Carter has to have a restraining order against him says a little something.
That's true.
Yeah, wow, that's a lot.
You have a new podcast going up today?
Yes. It's with Danielle Walker.
She's a cookbook author, like has to eat a certain way, like paleo and can't eat certain foods,
but she makes them really yummy because she has an autoimmune disease, but she's also a wife and a mom.
So we talk food, faith, family, and gratitude.
And, like, she's awesome.
Like, I followed her on Instagram for a long time, and I finally got to meet her in person
because she was in town staying with Hillary Scott.
Actually, she's good friends with her.
And I was going to, we were supposed to do it over the phone.
But then she's like, I'm actually staying at Hillary's house in Nashville.
So I could come in the studio.
I was like, okay.
So I got to meet her in person and it was like, you know, meeting your Instagram friend for the first time.
It's fun.
There you have it.
I met one of Amy's Instagram friends too.
I guess kind of Instagram friends.
You know what I say who it is.
Somebody I follow on Instagram.
I definitely don't know her, but it kind of be the same thing.
If I ever met her, it's kind of like you feel like you know them, at least a little bit about them.
I was with Amy's Instagram friend.
I took a picture.
I was like, hey, do you know?
She was like, what?
Because I'm like, no.
And I don't even know that she, I don't even know.
Some people you don't know if they follow you back or if they would even.
and know you if you saw them because I just found her
randomly and I liked some of her stuff.
And then Bobby was with her and I was like, what?
Weird.
Small world.
That Instagram world.
Big world.
A lot smells.
Yeah.
Where were you guys together at?
Where we haven't?
Like lunch.
They were in another state.
Yeah.
I definitely would never run into her.
We were in another state.
But interesting.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Is she you at lunch?
Yeah.
It was like a date.
There you go.
That's what we were looking for.
No.
I'm not.
Well, you were looking for that.
America wanted to know.
Whatever.
Crazy World.
Lots of smells.
All right.
One day you guys are going to know
what crazy world, lots of smells is from.
I don't have no idea what you're talking about.
I don't have no idea.
I don't have no idea.
What is it?
Crazy World, lots of smells.
Is it Rick and Morty?
We all like that show.
That's a good show.
I'm going forward to come back to.
All right, that's it.

Mr. Bobby bones.
Let me up.
This is the Bobby Ball.
All right.
Welcome to the big show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Well, here we are on Thursday.
You know, I read this story.
They say 14% of Americans have a strategy in case there's ever a zombie apocalypse.
Seems a bit high.
Yeah, I do not.
Do you?
Oh, yeah, of course.
I mean, listen, I have strategies for everything.
That's about one in seven people.
There's a town in North Carolina holding a zombie survival event this month to let people practice with a zombie apocalypse.
that for sure, maybe not in our lifetime,
but in the next few lifetimes,
something like this is going to happen.
Maybe not zombies,
but some sort of we have to survive through it.
Because it just happened every 150 years or so.
Wow.
So,
scary. Sure.
Even diseases.
And I don't mean just like crazy science fiction stuff.
But back in the day,
these people were coming down with all kinds of stuff they couldn't fix.
You know, back King Tutts days, people are dying, because they weren't ahead of the diseases.
So when the bird flu happened and I had a closet built for the bird flu?
Yes, you did.
Yeah.
Like in my house, Morgan number two, you didn't know me then.
No, I didn't.
You were like two.
But the bird flu was the thing that were like, it's coming for everyone.
So in my house, I had cases of water, canned goods.
I had some snacks that weren't going to.
Go bad.
Yeah, what do you call?
Non-perishable.
Non-perishable.
Like crazy.
That's my middle name for a while.
And then I was moving houses and I didn't know what to do with my bird food
clauses.
I just donated it and never built it back.
So, but I was ready.
Here we go.
These are the things that they mention the most.
If a zombie apocalypse happens, they're going to meet up with family and friends,
their strength in numbers.
They're going to relocate to a place with fewer zombies.
Yeah.
Price marks.
Yeah.
They're going to gather supplies and food, find a good place to hide and regroup,
and then gather guns, ammo, and other weapons.
And people always like,
we got to keep our guns in case the government comes at us.
No, you shouldn't worry about that,
because if government's coming at you,
they're going to send drones.
People always like, I'm going to keep my gun
in case the government decides to turn on us.
Guys, if the government turns,
you're pretty much fried.
Yeah, they got you.
They got you.
They're going to send a drone in your window.
However, if a zombie comes,
that's why you need that gun.
That's why I got a couple 12 gauges.
And you have to shoot their head.
Yeah, you got to shoot them in the head.
Body shots don't do anything.
It's the only way to get rid of a zombie.
Because obviously it's going to be exactly like TV.
Yeah.
Whenever it does happen.
Hey, glad everybody's here.
Welcome to Thursday's show.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast.
Highlight segment of the day.
All right, time for the draft this morning.
When we're drafting Tom Hanks movies.
And I have the first pick today.
And they're just a lot of good Tom Hanks movies.
Some that I had no idea when I was researching him.
I'm like, wow, do I need to watch some of these?
I had no idea they existed.
Yeah, so it's easy for me with that first pick
Because it's just the greatest movie of our lifetime, I feel
You have to.
Impressions. I just was in Savannah, Georgia,
Where that bench, that park where they shot all those bench scenes where they were.
Really?
Yeah, we're sitting on the bench.
The theater there hires a guy to just act like Forrest Gump the whole time.
And he sits in that park dressed like Forrest does and just goes from bench to bench,
never gets out of character.
And he's like, how are you doing?
That's awesome.
Uh-huh.
So my first pick in the draft will be from 1994, Forrest Gump.
Yeah.
Nice.
Thank you very much.
I mean, greatest movie ever.
I think so, right?
So you have to.
Yeah.
Shawshank's pretty good.
But Forest Gump is one.
Yeah.
Amy, you have the second pick.
I know.
And there's so many good ones.
It's so hard to figure out what to do.
But I'm just going to like,
any, me, mommy,
and go with Saving Private Ryan.
Dang it.
Good one, Amy.
It's a good second pick.
I went to watch Saving Private Ryan.
Yeah.
And the movie theater messed up, and they showed the very ending in the movie first.
Oh.
It was like they had it queued up to the wrong spot.
And I'm watching this going, wow, if this movie is this sad and amazing at the beginning, we're in for a treat.
And then the movie stops.
And then it starts with the previews, and I'm going, odd way to put a movie together, but okay.
And then they come in and go, oh, we accidentally showed you the first part of the movie first.
Or the last part of the movie first.
I was like, what just happened here?
Did they give you free movie tickets or something for your next visit?
We didn't stay, though.
We were like, we've already seen how it ends.
Oh.
Watch it again later on DVD.
So, okay, Amy goes saving Private Ryan.
Yes.
Lunchbox, first round.
Who's your pick?
Man, I thought Amy was taking this movie.
It is my favorite Tom Hanks movie.
It is so fun.
It'll put a smile on your face all the time.
And when they're in the mall, dancing on the piano,
give me big.
Big from 1988.
It's good.
Eddie.
Yeah, yeah, you guys are taking some real good ones.
But I'm going to go with one with the biggest catchphrase ever in
movie history. Oh, whoa, let me think about this.
Biggest catchphrase
in movie history? Think about it.
What? Come on, Bobby.
I don't have it. The biggest, I would probably
go, oh.
What's it?
No, the commercials, the beer commercials.
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa.
What's the?
It's not that movie? No, no, no, no. I mean, it's
probably a castaway. No. Oh, it's not?
Nope. What is it? Oh, is it? Houston.
Oh, we have a problem. Oh, not from a movie.
You're saying in life.
That's not a movie quote
It's not a movie quote
That's what really happened
Oh it is
Yeah
I didn't make that in front of a movie
Really?
Yeah
Tom Hanks wasn't like
You know I really think we should say this
It would really grab the audience
If I said Houston
We have a problem
Your movie pick is what
Apollo 13
Okay
Apollo 13 solid
But
Really
I thought you were saying
I'm pretty sure
Are you sure
Eddie I'm pretty sure
Any time
That they're in space
Or in the air
The astronauts say Houston
We have a problem
there's always a problem
I just think that was a real thing
that was said
It's like May Day
Okay okay
My bad
Morgan number two
We're over to you
You have the last pick
of the first round
Tom Hanks movies
What do you have?
I'm really glad it's still here
This is one of the first movies
I remember
It's Toy Story
Great pick
Yeah
There's still three other toy stories though guys
That's right
I thought about that
That's right
That's a good one though
Okay
The first round of movies is
I have Forrest Gump
Amy has saving
Private Ryan
Lunchbox has big.
Eddie has Apollo 13 and
Morgan number two has Toy Story.
Eddie, just, I'm
surprised. That's such a weak pick with Tom Hanks
being your favorite. Well, you guys took some
real good ones. I know, but Tom Hanks, I thought
you'd go to Toy Story. I wasn't going to do one that he voiced.
I want to do one where he
like stars in it. We see Tom Hanks. You could be
right. You could know Tom Hanks way better than I
do. Oh, God. Do you guys feel like that was
Apollo 13? I had Apollo 13 in the top.
That's the first round? No,
that's why I didn't go with it first round.
But you had the second round, the second overall pick.
Right.
I know, but still, I'm looking at some other ones that maybe I would have chosen above Apollo 13.
But that's fine.
It's still a good one.
It is absolutely a good one.
It's a really good one.
Great choice.
Okay.
Now you're stressing me out.
Eddie's going to go with this next pick, Splash.
Which is a great movie.
The mermaid movie?
I have that on here.
I love it.
That's a great movie.
Morgan number two, you're up.
Go ahead.
Your next pick.
I'm surprised Eddie didn't pick this one, but it's a league of their own.
That's a great one.
That's what I want it.
No.
There's no crying in baseball.
Morgan number two, that's a great pick.
Now, that's a movie saying.
Yes, Eddie, that's not from real life.
Yeah.
Okay.
And by the way, we're not sure if he said, I am the captain now.
Right.
I'm not sure.
We weren't there.
Right.
Okay.
Eddie, you have Apollo 13.
What's your next pick?
Well, no one's picked it yet, so I'm going castaway.
Yeah.
Got to go castaway.
I thought maybe a first round or even.
Yeah.
Lunch Fox.
Oh, man.
this movie is amazing.
Give me the Green Mile.
Oh, that's a good one.
Ended weird for me.
Yes, I loved it until the very ending.
And I was like, when did this turn into a science fiction movie?
Green Mile's good.
Amy.
Catch me if you can.
Good.
Good.
Solid.
I saw that only recently, too, and it's so good.
Solid.
Dude, there's still a lot left.
I know.
And I'm in that spot where it's my second round pick now.
And there's a lot that are, like, Philadelphia, for example.
That's a good movie, but possibly a little too old.
Right.
That's the struggle.
Some are old, but still amazing.
So my...
And then...
You can always go, like, newer.
I know.
I can go at the Christmas train with Polar Express.
Yeah, Polar Express.
Road to Perdition.
That's a good movie, dude.
I mean...
What's the Angels and Demons or what's that one?
I'm going to pick the sequel.
The sequel.
To the Divviction.
Code. I don't even go with Da Vinci Code. I go with the sequel.
All right. My second Tom Hanks movie, because
we are all in the same little area of, they're all
pretty similar at this point. I'm going to go with Sleepless in
Seattle. Oh, no. Yeah, I'm going to go with Sleepless in Seattle. Glad you did
that. Such a good movie. That affirms my next pick. That
helps me.
What, you got mail? Can I go with that one next? I have the next pick too.
You wouldn't.
I would do.
They're basically the same movie.
Right.
So I'm saying you got that one.
I'll take the next one.
It's teamwork.
I'm sure like when they're doing football drafts or something, the teams are negotiating.
Did they talk to each other?
Yeah.
They're like, dude, you get this guy, I'll get this guy.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, do I go with a Toy Story.
Like, Toy Story 3 was better than two.
So this is your third pick here?
Yeah.
So now here we go.
The first two rounds, Amy has, I have four scump and sleepless in Seattle.
Tom Hanks movies
Amy has saving private Ryan
and catch him if you can
Lunchbox has Big in the Green Mile
Yeah
Eddie has Apollo 13 and Castaway
And Morgan number two
Has Toy Story and a league of their own
Ooh!
Ooh, that's solid
Did I go with that thing you do?
Come on, you have two bones?
You love that movie.
I know, or Turner and Hootch?
That's a good movie too.
No, I love that one.
Oh, Toy Story 3.
Nah, don't do that.
Okay, with my final
pick of the first round
I'm gonna go with
It's tough Amy
I know it's tough I never been so torn before
Follow your heart
Well
Go with your favorite out of all of them
Not what people are gonna like
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
What would you do Eddie? Can I use the lifeline?
Yeah I would go Toy Story one of the toy stories
You would? Yeah
Why would you listen to Eddie when Apollo 13 first
I know that's a bad thing
Which is a great movie. Houston, we have a problem.
Okay.
That's a good movie line.
Time is running out on mine.
I'm going to go with Captain Phillips.
Dang.
I'm going to go with Captain Phillips.
I am the Captain now.
I am the Captain now.
Say it right.
Yeah, but he didn't even say that.
I am the Captain now.
Maybe he said it.
I'm going Captain Phillips.
Amy.
Okay.
Ooh, now I'm between you've got mail and Sully.
Because I feel like I need something more.
current. That was my problem too. I had
forced gum from Seattle. I need to hit the new
age. Right. And what do I have? I have
saving private Ryan and
A whole movie for me is five. That's tough.
And catch me if you can. So those
are a little bit, you know.
So, ooh. Go Sully.
I might, because it's really good. And my
husband's a pilot. Perfect. Who has
also landed on water. Go ahead.
So fine. Okay.
Solly. Okay. There you go.
Yes. Why do you think that that's bad?
I don't think it's bad. I didn't, I didn't want
Eddie's in last place.
That's why I'm trying so hard.
I know.
I'm in next to last place, so it's like I used to just say stuff, but I don't even know if I'm right anymore.
A Pulse of America of this isn't like great.
Lunchbox third pick.
Man, I, I'm good.
It's old.
I'm going to have three old ones, but I mean, you left it for me.
People love it.
It's a great love story.
You've got mail.
Okay, there you go.
It's a good one.
Eddie.
Oh, boy.
Tom Hanks movies.
You've got Apollo 13.
castaway.
All right, I'm going to
do what I told you to do, and you didn't do it.
I'm going to go to Toy Story 3.
I think it's a great pick.
I think that's the best out of all the Toy Stories.
I think it's a great pick.
Better than Toy Story 1.
No.
A different.
But Toy Story 1 established it.
It's tough to be better than the original.
Yeah.
Like Toy Story 3 is a derivative of Toy Story 1, so it's tough to go better.
But I didn't cry in any of them except Toy Story 3.
That's good.
Morgan number 2, final pick up the draft.
Do you have Toy Story and a league of their own?
Grace took a lot of the good ones.
Go Toy Story, too.
No, Eddie.
Go with the Toy Story short that was shown before Monsters Inc.
I really like this movie, so I'm going to go to the Terminal.
I was kidding when I mentioned that earlier.
Did you mention it earlier?
That might be a draft bluster.
Oh, wow.
Raimundo, by the way, is out of it.
He's laughing hysterically in our...
That's fine.
I don't care.
The Terminal, huh?
That's a shocker, Morgan number two.
I liked it.
I thought it was a good movie.
But see, she hasn't seen like Splash or Turner and Hooch, probably, have you?
I haven't.
Yeah.
Okay.
Listen, what do I know?
What do I know?
There we have it, folks.
Those are our Tom Hanks movies.
Go vote on the team that you think is the best.
I am your captain now.
Houston, we have a problem.
Okay.
Everybody can do one impression from weather movies.
Let's go around the room. Morgan number two, do an impression from one of your Tom Hanks movie.
Go ahead.
Anything you want to do.
This is how we're going out.
Go ahead.
There's no crying in baseball.
Solid impression.
There you go.
Eddie, you're up next.
Okay, ready?
Yep.
Houston?
We have a problem.
Lunchbox.
You've got mail.
Well, good.
Yeah, the AOL voice.
Fair enough.
Amy.
Brace for Impact.
Okay.
And I'm going to go with...
Ooh, you got a lot to choose from.
I know.
I know.
I'm going to...
I'm just going to go.
But the big one, Mama always said, life's like a box of chocolates.
You never know what you're going to get.

So this is what I saw online.
That 13 years ago, Dexter premiered on TV.
I loved Dexter.
Not everybody watched Dexter, but I thought it was a fantastic show.
And so it started and it was like A-plus, all the reviews, A-plus, IMD-B, A-A-A-A-A-A.
The series finale, they gave it an F because they hated how it ended.
I didn't hate how it ended, but Dexter's seen as one of the worst series finales of all time.
Game of Thrones also is one of those where people are so mad at how it ended.
Didn't hate it, I didn't hate how it ended.
You know what I feel about endings of shows?
it's not my job to feel like they did a good job or bad job at it.
It's my job just to see how that makes me feel.
Like, that's just their job.
Just finish the show.
I don't get mad at the end of somebody's life or somebody's year.
Like, I don't go, you should have done that differently.
I didn't get to pick the whole time.
Like, I just enjoy it and go, well, that made me feel good or not.
Right.
But I like Dexter.
I like Game of Thrones.
I was fine with the endings.
Worst endings ever of a series.
were to go around the room, Amy.
I literally do not have one because I'm not invested
in a show like that to where it's going to affect me
that I'm like so annoyed by the ending.
You never watched Roseanne
where at the end it turns out the last two seasons
she had just been writing a diary
and none of that stuff had been happening.
Or I didn't watch Dallas but people
were upset at Dallas because...
Who shot JR?
Well, he is in the shower apparently
and it was all a daydream.
I believe that's what it was.
And you're like, it's wasted two years?
This is a little daydream you just tricked me?
Oh, wow.
I never saw Lost, but weren't people annoyed by that one?
Yeah, and I didn't watch Lost, but people were annoyed by Lost.
Yeah, I just have other things to be worried about, you know?
Seinfeld?
I didn't like that one.
You didn't?
The jail, that's jail, right?
Yeah, where they all sent up a jail?
Yeah, but then again, it was a show about nothing.
Right.
I'm like, what am I supposed to be really mad about?
Yeah.
About nothing!
I was watching those Seinfeld people talk about, and I listened to the Bill Simmons
podcast where Julia Louis Dreyfus was on there, and she was like, it was,
those final episodes were the most fun,
them because I got to see everybody again.
All those characters that had done all the seasons they brought back into the courtroom.
They were like, it was so much fun for us.
Then we were just like, yeah, we'll just end it.
That's right, the courtroom.
Yeah.
That's pretty funny.
So what about Sons of Anarchy?
I don't remember the end, but that was a good show.
But you don't know the ending?
Nope.
I could actually probably go back and revisit that.
Lunchbox any show that you thought ended badly?
Oh, Sign Bell was bad and How I Met Your Mother was bad.
I love that ending to How I Met Your Mother.
That was one of those where I thought, boy, people didn't see that coming.
What happened?
You find out who the mom is?
Yeah.
I didn't watch that either.
You find out who the mom is and the mom ends up being some other girl.
But then he ends up, she ends up dying.
She got sick.
And then he ends up marrying or getting with Robin again, the girl that the whole time.
Okay, cool.
Which I thought was like real life.
Yeah, it wasn't pretty.
Right.
But I think that's why I like that ending.
Maybe.
Because it wasn't just like ABCD.
We're all happy.
It was like A, B, some struggle at C, walk it back to B.
Like, that's real life stuff there.
Eddie, anything for you?
For me, Seinfeld.
I think the big thing for me is just closure.
I want closure in a end of show or whatever.
And I guess that's what bothered me about Seinfeld.
Did you, because we're going to do Forrest Gump draft later.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaking of Forrest Gump, did you hate the ending of Castaway?
Oh, of Castaway.
Again, it's kind of like what Lunchbox is saying.
You don't want that to happen in the storyline.
Well, there's no closure.
That's my point.
But you can imagine what happens.
Okay, but you just said you want a closure.
You can imagine what happens with any of these.
Right. But to me, that was closure.
It's like he moved on from the old love and now he's moving out of the next chapter of his life.
To me, that's closer.
I don't remember the end of castaway.
Castaway, where he's on a road?
A dirt road and he's like, where does he go?
What happens next?
But we know where he goes.
You don't.
Where do you think he goes?
So the whole point in the movie, he's following that package with a sign on it and he finds the girl who had that package.
Or does he?
Oh.
We'll do our draft coming up.
Anyway, Dexter, I guess I just like shows that end like you're not supposed to end.
Because all these, I'm like, I'm good with all these.
Yeah.
And I like it when you're walking down one way and it's not how it.
Because again, in life, you don't really get to have what's supposed to happen.
You should watch Dexter.
It's good.
Maybe not now.
Don't you kind of look like him?
Yeah, that's what I get is my doppelganger.
Okay.
Yeah, whatever that guy's name is.
I will play you the theme to a very classic TV show.
You name the show.
These are pretty old school, but you'll recognize them.
Amy, Lunchbox, video producer Eddie.
Here we go.
See if you can name this classic TV theme, theme number one.
Oh, you know it.
I've lived it.
And I bet we'll be together for a million more.
Oh, it's like I started breathing.
I guess I'm in.
I'm in for the win.
And are you also as disenfranchised as they are by the world.
process. All right, there we go. Amy, what is your answer? Moonlighting.
Incorrect. Lunchbox. Oh, that's family ties. Family ties. That's correct.
Oh, wow. Lucky guess. Eddie. Perfect strangers. I had no idea. Lunchbox one point. Here we go. Question
number two. Here we go. Give me that theme. I'm in. Can you name that classic TV theme? I'm in.
Let's go over to Amy. Looney Tunes.
Show me Looney Tunes. Correct. Lunchbox. I love Lucy. Oh, no. Eddie.
Looney Tunes.
We're even, everybody.
All right, here we go.
Number three, can you name this one?
Sound familiar, Amy?
Yes.
Named that classic TV theme.
I'm in for the win.
I'm in.
Not 100% sure, though.
Amy?
I love Lucy.
Oh.
It's that one with the genie lady.
I love Lucy is what I wrote, though,
because I don't know the name of it.
Eddie.
I'm so dumb.
I love Jeannie.
Oh.
No, it's I dream Buccini.
Audrey Buccini.
We still got a tie.
Let's go to number four.
Here we go.
I'm in.
Yankee doodle dandy.
Oh, no.
Yankee doodle dandy show.
Ran for 12 years.
Incorrect.
Lunchbox.
This is Jed and the Beverly Hillbillies.
No.
That's the Lone Ranger.
No.
It's Bonanza.
You serious?
My grandma used to watch that.
Okay, we have a tie.
We're going to do one final clip.
Buzz in if you know it.
Oh, my goodness.
We're awesome at this game.
Here we go.
Eddie.
Eddie.
Gilligan's Island.
No, anybody else?
Hold on, hold on.
Five seconds?
Lunchbox.
Go ahead.
Sherlock Holmes.
No, Amy.
I have no idea.
It's the Munsters.
On to the next one.
Here we go.
Can you name this one?
Amy.
Adam's family.
There's a winner.
There she is.
Amy.
Oh, wow.
The winner this one.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two.
Second Skinny.
Congratulations to John Party.
At his second soldout show in Nashville last night,
he proposed to longtime girlfriend Summer while on stage,
and she said yes.
Dan & Chee and Justin Bieber teamed up for a collaboration
that's dropping on Friday.
It's called 10,000 Hours,
and it's the first song from Dan and Che's next album.
Justin Teased the News as well,
calling the song Wedding Music.
Artist Hoseyer covered Mara Morris's song The Bones,
and she shared the cover on her social media writing.
This is absolutely stunning.
And the bones are good.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
This guy, Paul, had been dreaming of going skydiving for a long time.
What's wrong with him?
Yeah.
I did it.
I'm going to tell you, it ain't for me.
Well, for some people, it's a bucket list item.
Well, for him, yeah, he's 94 years old.
Oh, great.
He finally got the chance.
His granddaughter surprised him with skydiving tickets for his birthday earlier this year.
but bad weather, he fell, he had appendicitis,
it all was keeping him from going up in the plane until the other day.
Doctor said, all right, dude, you're good.
Boy, imagine that.
You're a doctor and you're telling a 94-year-old-old-engoed jump out of a plane.
You're the one that checks him out to make sure.
I was sending him to my buddy.
He went to Middleton, Ohio, with his children,
the grandchildren, got on the plane,
he said, I got no fear, no fear.
Jumped out of the plane, parachuted safely to the ground,
and said, man, he just couldn't get over the scenery.
After the jump, the instructor's like, man, that's good.
You want to go again?
And he's like, yep, just not today.
So he did it.
His flight date was really special because it was a day after what would have been
his 75th wedding anniversary with his wife who passed away in January.
They married when they were 19 years old.
Wow.
They raised seven kids, 17 grandkids, 23 great grandkids,
and two great, great grandkids.
Wow.
And he wanted to do it around that time.
Just as a, hey, family, I'm still here.
I'm still alive kind of stuff.
Isn't that a good story?
Love it.
Oh, but the skydive.
You could just take it to drive.
You could just take it and drive another moment.
Like, family, look at me.
I'm back in the car.
That skydiving, man, not for me.
Did it?
And I, at this point, I probably do it again if I was dating somebody and she was like,
I really want to do it.
Yeah, I could see you doing that too.
After what I did on Barry Girls coming up, it's scarier than skydiving.
But I did, that show, by the way, I got my,
my air date. It's in January. The show starts
in late November. Wow. I'm like the fourth or
fifth episode. Running
Wild with Bear Girls. It comes out in January. And I did something on
this show. Not skydiving, but in my mind
was scarier than that. And I'm like,
put me up on a plane. So now you'll do whatever?
Well, I don't want to do it, but if a girl's like, hey, jump out of
the plane, I'm dumping you. Do you think after a girl's watch
this episode? Well, I guess we have to wait until January, but they're going to
find you more manly.
Nope.
They will not
Yeah
I did everything
I just didn't like it
Some of it I was like
Are you kidding me
Again I can't say where we went yet
Have I said?
No
On the air I haven't
Bear Girls which is on Nat Geo
And it'll be on Disney Plus then
That's awesome
Yeah pretty exciting
Anyway congrats to this dude
His name's Paul
94 years old
Got that skydive in
In a real good moment in his life
That's what it's all about
That was tell me something good
Bobby Bones show
Bonehead
The story of the day.
This story comes with us from the Bronx, New York.
Everyone's at the zoo, hanging out, looking at the animals, and one lady's like, oh, the lions look cool.
Let me go ahead and climb in there.
She climbs in the lion den and starts dancing in front of one of the lions.
Yeah, she was basically taunting it.
I saw this.
Oh, man.
The lion could have easily got her.
Oh, he is.
Five feet from her.
And had he, they would probably put the lion down, which is not fair.
It shouldn't even be in a cage anyway.
but yes, there she is in an enclosure.
What happened to her?
She's charged with unlawful trespassing.
No more zoos, period, but for her either.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
No more animals.
Worldwide band.
No more people.
No more...
Yeah, there you go.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
All right, so what did you see?
So the guy that created the first ever Laberdoodle says it's his biggest life regret.
Creating the Labradoodle.
I mean, you bred them?
I guess so.
He's the original person behind the poodle and the lab
being put together to make the Labradoodle.
And why does he regret it so much?
Just because of all of the way the breeding has gotten out of control
and it's like the dog's a hot mess now.
Like, I mean, maybe in the beginning it was like a great idea.
But then all these breeders get involved
and I don't know what you even call it
because I'm not a breeder, but crossbreeding and breed, I don't know.
And the dogs are just,
Like, you never know what you're going to get these days.
And I'm like, well, I have a Labradoodle.
And while I do love her, she's crazy.
You do have a Labradoodle, huh?
Yeah, and we rescued her.
So I don't know that she's, I think she's legit, you know, pure Labradoodle.
But she's doodle.
She's crazy.
The inventor of the Labradoodle said that the dog was at first created,
which is a weird word, or something that's alive,
for a blind woman in Hawaii whose husband was allergic to Labrador guide dogs.
So it took him three years to come up with the Labradoodle
Where the fur is that of a poodle
So Labrador instincts can guide
But this person couldn't have the Labrador hair, the dander
So it becomes hyperaligent
So he actually did it for a real
Like a positive reason
He wasn't just a mad scientist in a room
Oh, I didn't know that
Mr. Conron is his name
He'd been credited with sparking a crossbreeding frenzy
resulting in shippoos
Pugles
What's a Shippoo? A Shih Tzu and a Poo bear?
Sounds about right.
Yeah.
No, a poodle.
Shih Tzu and a poodle.
What's a puggle?
A pug and a pooh.
Oh, pug and a poodle.
Oh, and I used to want a pocket noodle.
These poor oodles are getting slammed in with all these dogs.
I mean, you don't do a poodle with anything and it makes it so cute.
And they don't shed.
I bred the Labradoodle for a blind lady whose husband was allergic to dog hair and dander.
Why people are breeding them today haven't got a clue.
Oh, I'll give you a clue.
They're cute.
Yeah.
They're cute a F.
Yeah, they are.
That's the kids say.
As the kids say, that's his biggest life regret, huh?
Yeah, it is.
Okay, let's do this.
Around the room.
Your biggest life regret.
Hmm.
Amy, you're up.
Quitting tennis.
Oh, because?
Because I do think, I don't know.
I do think that I had a chance at being good.
I was at the same tournament as Andy Roddick back in 1992.
He wasn't Andy Roddick then, but he was there.
And that is the one tournament I won first place at.
I didn't play him.
I was in the girls group.
I have my first place trophy.
Sometimes I still see that trophy and I'm like,
why did I ever quit tennis?
First of all, I really enjoyed it.
There's more to this as to why I quit tennis.
Not just that I could have been good.
But also, I feel like when older in life,
you see all these older people playing tennis
and having fun doing that.
And now it's just like such hard work to get back into it.
Okay, but if you wanted it, you could.
And also, I would say that you may have been okay,
but you didn't develop,
and you're not a crazy athlete.
Like if you were a great athlete still today
and you just stopped playing tennis,
I'd be like, yeah, you probably missed out on that.
You didn't see me in 1992.
You're right, I didn't.
You didn't.
I should reserve judgment
until I go back to the 92 and watch you.
Watch the game day.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I just feel like I would always play sports
and then just kind of quit and move on.
I don't know why I did that.
So regret that.
What about you?
My biggest regret in life is probably
when I got fined a million dollars
by the FCC.
on this show in this same room,
pushed a button, and here we go,
$1 million fine.
And I think it's finally paid off.
Paid it over installments.
Yeah, yeah.
Laywayed that day.
Gotta do that.
Yeah.
So, because it was so stupid,
I really gained nothing from it.
It wasn't like I had this great story
about being fined a million dollars.
Pushed a button.
I shouldn't have pushed.
Next thing, you know,
Bada being, Bada boom,
a million bucks in debt.
And the company was very gracious with that.
So I regret that.
Lunchbox?
Oh, I would have to say.
going to class my sophomore year because I had went and tried out for the real world.
I had driven three hours to college station from San Antonio, tried out.
And when I left, I was like, they're calling me.
They're going to call me and say they want me.
I got home that night and I had economics a night class.
I was like, you know what?
I'm back in time.
Might as well go to class.
And guess who called me while I was in economics class, the real world?
And I missed that call.
I mean, yeah, you wouldn't be here right now.
I wouldn't be here right now.
I'd be playing tennis.
Yes, I'd be on the challenge.
The dentist pro lunchbox would be on real world.
Yeah, the challenge.
Oh my goodness.
I mean, uh.
Eddie, what biggest regret?
It's going to sound weird, but I got to meet Willie Nelson one time when I was working and he offered me to do Willie things with Willie.
And I said no.
I declined Willie on what Willie is known for.
Yeah.
And I was working at the time.
And in my mind, I was like, I'm driving people.
I just started my shift.
I probably shouldn't, but this is the one time Willie is ever going to say, Eddie, would you like to?
And I said, no, sir.
I'm good. Thank you.
That's a good decision.
Oh, man, because I don't do that stuff anyway.
But, yeah.
Morgan number two?
Mine's similar to Amy's.
I quit playing softball, and I had a real shot at being on a national team, so I shouldn't have quit.
Don't nod at me like I told you.
Well, I mean, you got some athletes up in here.
But you never know.
Morgan number two is an athlete for sure.
Oh, I'm not.
You're okay.
Amy, you have a tough time walking down the hall.
Yeah, you walk through the door and run into the...
I have athletic ability.
I know.
You have a lot of ability to do a lot of things.
ball too.
Did you a switch hitter or something?
Yes.
Amidextrous.
I'm ambidextrous athlete.
Okay.
Because I can golf left or right.
You can't golf at all.
You golf unequally.
She carries two sets of clubs.
No, no.
She's bad both the way.
She's like, I'm the same both sides.
No, no, you're just terrible at both sides.
We're all terrible at this stuff.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
Speak for resolve.

Bobby boom, come on.
Okay, so I'm going to play a song, play it from the very beginning,
listen to it, and I'll stop it at some point,
and just get you guys as honest feedback.
You don't know who the artist is.
Maybe you've heard of the artist, maybe you haven't.
This artist may be so big and recognizable
that you're like, oh, I know who this is.
But my goal with this is to play a song
that you've never heard to see if it clouds,
to see if you can answer it without a cloud of judgment.
judgment, okay? Because if I were to go, here's the Kenny Chesney song, you've already got an
attachment to Kenny Chesney. Some way you're already feeling some way about Kenny Chesney.
If I were like, here's the Garth Brooks song. He'd be like, oh, I'm going to love it anyway.
It doesn't matter. I don't want that. That's the whole point of this.
Okay. Everybody good? Yeah. Okay. Everybody's heads up and let's hear this song.
Play it from the very beginning, please.
Be on the vibe a little bit.
I like it.
Maybe you can meet me in the middle of me just a little bit of time and I'll show you that I want to hold you and make you mind, but I won't stop there.
Then I stand at your door, I'll treat you like a name.
I'm just trying to say, girl, that I've got to play.
I'm going to show you the difference in a boy and a man.
Yeah, I know what you're missing.
I'm going to show you the difference.
Yes, I am.
Okay, so that's the first kind of play.
It's called a boy and a man, right?
So do you understand what the song's about just by hearing that?
Yeah?
What's it about?
Well, I mean, I'm taking it just from like, like you've dated these boys before,
but now I'm going to show you what it's like to really date somebody, like a man.
Like I'm going to show you the difference in a boy and a man.
Okay, play the course again.
Here we go.
It's a baby.
I don't know.
I treat you like a lady.
I just going to call you baby.
I'm just trying to say, girl, that I've got a plan.
Listen, I'm going to show you the difference in a boy and a man.
Yeah, I know what you're missing.
I'm going to show you the difference in the boy and head, a man.
Yes, I am.
Okay, okay.
Everybody feel good?
Like, can I get the vibe a little bit?
Yeah.
Can I get the vibe a little?
Do you feel like you know who it is?
No.
No idea.
I thought I did, but no.
I like it.
Well, you will know.
It's not somebody you've never heard of, right?
Okay.
Amy, that's a boy and a man.
And I'm not sure if that's what you're saying.
The song's about or if it's about him growing either.
Like, I used to be a boy, now I'm a man.
I have no idea what it's wrong.
Oh, okay, because it could be that he was immature before,
but now he's mature.
And I know that you miss him at the base.
I'm missing a boy and a man.
Oh, yes, I did.
Okay, you're right.
You're right.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure.
Okay, Amy, give me your thoughts on that song.
Like, do I like it?
Yes, like two thumbs up.
Okay, we'll give it out of five stars.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
You can give half stars.
Okay.
Okay.
I'm going to give it four stars.
Wow, solid grade.
It's good.
I'm already singing it back in my head and I've only heard it this one time.
Okay.
Lunchbox?
I mean, women are going to love that song because all women want to be swept off their feet and some guy chasing them.
And it's a little cheesy to me, but it's still good.
Like the, it sounds the beat, I guess is what you should call the rhythm.
That was kind of fun.
Like I was kind of dancing in my chair.
I'd give it three and a half.
Solid grade from this guy.
Okay, Eddie.
So it's a good song.
Like, it's good.
I like the way it feels.
I like the dude's voice, whoever that is.
I like the song.
The problem is it just sounds a lot like everything else.
Okay.
So I'm going to go three and a half just because it kind of fits in with everything else, but it's a good song.
Three and a half.
The one line I didn't understand, though, is he says, I'm not saying I'm that man that you're going to fall in love with.
No, you're supposed to say, yeah, I'm the man you're falling in love with.
Like, you're supposed to be assertive and say, yeah, I'm the guy.
Hit that again, that chorus, Ramundo?
Because you deserve better than you've had before.
Right now you've got a fellow standing at your door.
I'll treat you like a lady.
I ain't going to just call you baby.
What were you?
Okay, okay.
He says plan, not man.
I thought he was saying, I'm not the man.
He's saying, I have a plan.
Got it.
I ain't playing little games.
I'm just trying to say, girl, that I've got a plan
because you know what you're missing.
I'm going to show you the difference between a boy and a man.
Yeah, I got plan and man mixed up.
Morgan number two, any thoughts?
Yeah, I mean, if I was giving it stars, I'd probably give it a three out of five.
Okay.
I think it's solid.
She's a tough judge.
I like this.
Go ahead.
It's solid.
It's a good song, but it does give the same kind of sound that's already out there.
There's nothing that stands out about it to me.
Boom.
I guess I kind of like the sound that's out there right now.
I don't know.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, so we got a three, a four, and then two, three.
We average it three and a half out of five stars.
That's pretty good grade.
Any guesses who that is?
Sing that.
I thought it was old a million at first.
Yeah, so did I.
It does feel a bit like an Old Dominion song.
Just the voice.
Very much so.
So it is not Old Dominion.
I'm sorry.
Morgan No. 2, do you know who that is?
The new artist, is it Matt Stel?
Yeah, it is not.
It's actually A.J. McLean from the Backstreet Voice.
No.
Oh.
And I just want to...
Wait, play this one.
This one's good.
Five stars.
Five stars.
And so, if I were to say, hey, this is one of the Backstreet voice singing a song.
people automatically would go
no way
but if I were to go
you just hear the song listen to the words
and base it straight on merit
how do you feel about it
and that's a pretty good grade
at one segment 3 at 5
3.5 out of 5 you tricked us good on that one
well no I wasn't tricking you I was just
trying to listen for the music and not just the person
singing the song you know
because I know that you're missing
and a boy and a man
oh yes again there it is
okay cool check it out it's called boy and a man from
AJ McLean if you want to
listen to that song
Fun game.
And I'll text them and let them know that you guys liked it.
Yeah.
Make sure you tell him I gave him four.
I will.
Amy's the high voter here.
I'll be like,
Morgan of you hated it.
No, it's good.
I'm glad you guys were honest about that.
Okay, cool.
I like a way to do that bit.
Sometimes you guys will go hard on somebody,
and it'll be somebody famous.
I know listens to the show and I'm like,
oh boy.
But as long as we're honest,
right?
As long as we're honest, we're all good.
The Vibon Show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So there's this restaurant called the Suburban
and they have this labor-inducing burger,
and it's attracting like all these people that are pregnant
and they want to go into labor.
So now that they've hit the news,
everyone's coming in trying to eat it.
Now, they're in Minnesota, so you may not live near there.
So I can tell you what's in the burger
in case you want to make it yourself.
You read in my mind.
What's in the labor-inducing burger?
Angus beef patty.
Okay.
Topped with American cheese,
spicy Bavarian mustard,
a few slices of honey-cured bacon,
peach caramelized onion,
a Cajun romillade sauce,
all served on a toasted pretzel bun.
I'm looking at it.
It looks fantastic.
Yeah, it does.
It doesn't sound like it's inducing labor.
I feel like they just made that up
to get people to come eat it.
No, they're making headlines after women
that were pregnant, came in,
and boom, went into labor.
How many?
And where?
At the restaurant?
They say that there's labor triggering properties.
Now, I don't know what those are mixed up in here
because I always thought it was like jalapinos or something.
My mom, when she went into labor with me,
she had a hamburger with jalapinos.
And she went to see 9 to 5.
had to leave early.
Went into labor with me.
Well, the burger does look good.
It looks really good.
What's this place called?
It's called the Suburban.
A restaurant is selling a labor inducer.
Yeah.
Yeah, look at that.
Okay, what else you got?
So the absolute best way to fall asleep without sleeping pills, I now have it.
And it seems very simple, and I'm going to start trying it out.
Not that I have to use sleeping pills, but sometimes I just have trouble going to sleep.
And it's called the 478 method.
Have you heard of it?
Is that how you also see if you're going to get pregnant or not?
That method?
I don't know.
What are they called that?
The method, the number method?
No?
No.
No.
Okay, so you simply inhale through your nose for four seconds.
Okay, hold on.
Only through your nose.
Hold your breath for seven seconds, not aggressively like you are right now, but in a calm way.
Calm.
For seven seconds.
And then exhale slowly through your mouth for eight seconds.
And that is the four, seven, eight seconds.
method.
Repeat.
This simple exercise.
And I'm out.
Until you fall asleep.
Yeah.
I mean,
I'm going to try it.
You got it.
Bobby just tried it.
I know.
It worked.
Bobby, we're doing the show.
I have one more story.
Oh, go ahead.
So there's this woman who's allergic to Wi-Fi.
Isn't that nutso?
And she has to sleep in a $500 copper sleeping bag.
It's like copper and silver, like thread in the bed.
bag and that's what helps her avoid electromagnetic fields, EMF.
That's wild.
Yeah.
So she started to feel sick about six years ago.
Then she suddenly felt better after she switched off her Wi-Fi and cordless phones.
And then, yeah, scientists say that 4% of people worldwide are suffering from EMF sensitivity.
That's a crazy thing to be allergic to, man.
Wow.
And they even think that that's like,
Like, not even the right estimated number because many people just don't know that's what it is.
What's it called EMF?
EMF. The electromagnetic fields is what they're allergic to.
Do you remember the song?
Oh, you're unbelievable.
Oh!
Also by EMF.
You're unbelievable.
Oh, no, I didn't know.
I mean, I know the song.
You're saying your questions.
You don't know so past, so pee away.
So gives it and tell you why.
Yeah, dude.
Yeah, hey, do you have Unbelievable from EMF, Ramundo?
It's a good Thursday jam there.
You're unbelievable.
Oh.
You know that song?
Morgan number two?
Yeah, I do.
EMF, electromagnetic.
Frequency.
Oh, Fields.
Okay.
I thought you were asking you were trying to think of the name of the band.
No, no, I don't know what the name is.
Let me just tell you that Wi-Fi is affecting our bodies?
I mean, but so is cell phones.
But some people are allergic to shellfish, you know?
Yeah, I mean, we all are...
It's like...
Peanut butter. Okay, you're right.
Yeah.
Yeah, turn this up.
Yeah.
You know all the words of this?
Um, I think so.
Let it rip.
Let it. Let it see.
You butter me with your questions.
You turn to your lies.
You're always asking what it's about.
Just listen to my replies.
You say, no, don't talk enough.
That's about enough.
This might be a good karaoke song, dude.
Mm.
You need you
The things you say
Your purple pros just gives you weight
The things you say
You're unbelievable
Oh
Damn
You know that part that goes
Bata bha da da
Right there
It goes
After the chorus
Never mind
You hear the actual unedited it is
What the
Oh really?
Oh
Didn't know that
There you go
All right that's your pile
Good?
Yeah maybe that's my pile
That was Amy
pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
There's this nine-year-old boy named Cade from Minnesota.
He's running a 5K race this weekend, so it's a 5K and a 10-K.
And it splits off at one point, and he's supposed to go the 5K way.
Well, this lady keeps going, go straight, go straight.
So he thinks he's running the 5K.
He ends up, he ends in the 10-K race, and he wins the whole thing.
Well, he wins the 10-K accidentally.
Yes, he was only supposed to be running the 5K,
So the mom's at the finish line going, where is my son?
Where is my son?
Which, by the way, I'd freak out.
Oh, yeah.
It's taking a lot longer than he's used to.
He wins?
He wins the race, according to this new story.
Yeah, I think he's going to be, like, or he's trying up for, like, the junior Olympics.
Like, he's fast.
Once, I almost won a marathon.
Well, no.
Yeah.
I'm almost.
I did good.
Your girlfriend was running the marathon, and he greeted her at the end and went through the finish line with her.
That's not exactly what happened.
Okay, what happened was.
What?
My ex-girlfriend, whose name was Megan at the time, was running a marathon.
And she had gotten a little sick.
And I said, well, I'm going to go support her.
And I tried to get at like three different locations that she ran by to be like, you're going to do it.
And I knew she was feeling down about that third stop.
So I was just running beside her in the marathon.
And again, you're 20 miles into this thing at this point.
So it's not like everybody's packed together.
So I'm running, running, running.
And I just, I've lost my place in my car.
And I'm like, I'll just run and just get out near the end.
well as I'm running all of a sudden the walls are up
and I'm like oh crap I can't get out
and so people are like you're going to do it
and I'm like yes I can and I can do one of two things
I could actually just quit and be a quitter in everybody's eyes
no don't do that but I wanted to inspire them
and I was like I can't do it
and everybody that was running around me at the time
finishing the race they were exhausted I had so much energy
I was like yeah you're at SAC
USA I was giving people fives I was rocking it too
and so I wasn't even sweating that much
and so I run and I see the finish line
and the guy's doing all the names coming through
he'd read the numbers and be like,
it's number three, two, six,
say, oh, it's Jeremy Murphy.
And all this, I don't have a, I'm like,
I don't have a tax,
I take my shirt off to act like it was on my shirt.
And I'm running through and he goes,
it's a numberless runner,
but congratulations to this guy.
I wave with the crowd, yeah, yeah.
And I run through,
just thinking I'd find her
and the day would be over.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I'm back in the back
and they're like, sir,
do you need the bananas or,
or gator, I was like, yeah, I kind of do.
So I went over and had some gatorated banana.
I'm a little parched.
Which led me to all the news crews.
They were like, oh, you're the guy from the radio.
This is years ago.
And I was like, yeah, they're like, we love to do a story about you finishing the marathon.
And I'm like, okay.
And they're like, because I did finish it.
I just didn't start it.
And they're like, I was like to finish the marathon.
I was like, it's so exciting.
Everybody was giving me fives.
And so then they put a metal on my neck.
No, you got the metal.
And I hung it on my rearview mirror for like a year.
And she wanted to kill me.
Well, yeah, because she trained and worked so hard.
And then you got.
You weren't sporting the 26.
whatever sticker.
I haven't taken it off since.
That kid, though, that's a good story.
The kid won.
Yeah, he won, first place.
On accident.
I was tricked, lured into a marathon.
That's a good story.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
All right, let's investigate the morning corny this morning.

I do have Sarah on the phone now.
I thought we'd give a yesterday's secret sound a quick listen.
Hey, Sarah, are you there?
and if you are, good morning to you.
Good morning. How are you?
I'm pretty good. Where do you live?
I actually live in Highlandville, Missouri, so it's like south of Springfield.
Highlandville, Missouri, south of Springfield. I was just in Springfield two nights ago.
It was an amazing time for me. I loved it over there.
Yeah, it's a really good place.
Well, how about we do this? I'm going to play yesterday's Secret Sound, and you tell me if this sounds familiar to you.
She's our example caller.
Okay.
All right, Rendmondu hit Yesterday's Secret Sound?
So that's what we played yesterday, and if someone were to be able to get this,
They would win a trip live in the vineyard in Napa Valley, California.
There were so many confusing answers on this because that could be anything.
But we're looking for one answer.
And Sarah Rhodes, what did you send in as your answer?
I sent in getting water from a water cooler.
You know what, God, us with that water cooler was that very...
At the end.
Because it could have been pee-pee.
Could have been pouring a couple coffee.
Sure.
But so you typed that in and guess what?
You are the winner of the trip.
Can you believe that?
Oh my gosh, I cannot believe this.
You have no idea.
My husband and I are just so beside ourselves about this.
The possibility was just amazing.
Well, you didn't know you won until just now, so I'm like, how are you guys already beside yourself?
You just found out one second ago.
But she said the possibility.
Okay, here's the deal.
You got it right.
Tell our listeners, because I feel like we're all a big family here.
Tell them that you just got online literally listening and won this trip.
Like how simple it was.
Yeah, I heard the sound yesterday morning.
I logged him, I got to work, and I just entered my guests online,
and then, you know, we were just crossing our fingers.
That was it.
We had a chance. It was super easy.
Super easy.
And so you have won a trip to the private music event of the year.
It's live in the vineyard, a weekend of wine, food, and music in Napa Valley, California,
Mirren Morris, Kelsey Ballerini, Avrilavine, Maddie and Tay, Natasha Beddingfield.
So easy she just wanted.
Look at that.
Pina Rose on your night.
Yeah. Congratulations. Okay, look.
Thank you so much.
Are you crying or do you have a cold?
No, it's allergies. I'm not crying. I'm not crying.
You should, though. It'd be better if you went. I'm crying. I just can't keep the motion back.
This is so amazing.
Sarah, congratulations to you, and we're going to put you on hold for one second, okay?
Okay, thanks.
All right, there you go.
Well, we have today's Secret Sound, which we're going to play right now.
And if you know it, today's your last shot to win a trip.
Literally you can win an awesome trip
just by going to bobbybones.com.
You don't have to call in.
You just type it in.
We just had a winner on who typed it in yesterday
and next thing you know, she's on the air winning a trip.
So, you're going to win
a trip to Napa Valley, California.
It is the private music event of the year
live in the vineyard.
Marin Morris, Adam Lambert, Avrilavine,
Kelsey Ballerini, Maddie and Tay,
Caitlin Smith.
There are just so many.
Here is today's secret sound.
I would assume
that it, is it this?
Is that that is?
Yeah.
It's got to be, right?
It's got to be right.
And if you're watching this show, you just got a big hint.
That's what we should have done.
But like, you should watch.
Apparently, there's something Ray and his boys do a lot.
You guys do that?
It's actually pretty popular, yeah.
If you're not in basketball, football,
baseball, it's one of the more popular things to do.
Okay, then I don't know what that is.
No, he's just not making sense.
It's his past time.
He's saying if you're not, when he's not playing basketball,
he's doing this.
I've ever seen you do this ever.
I've known you for 10 years.
I bet at like when he's out, maybe.
Outwear at the club?
Okay.
All you have to do is go to bobbybones.com.
You heard the secret sound and type it and you get one guess.
If you know what it is, we're going to pick one of the right guesses and give him a trip to California.
Raymondo hit it one more time.
There you have it.
It's weird to hear shoes squeaking too.
Like, how hard are they doing this?
Okay, that's it.
Bobby Bones.com.
Get on in that.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
Yesterday when we finished the show, I had a call with Ronnie Dunn from Brooks and Dunn.
I said a call.
He just called me on the cell phone.
I was like, hey, Bobby.
I was like, what's up?
We're going to do that cowboy shoot?
I was like, yeah, of course.
And so, he's a great photographer.
And so we kind of lined up what I was going to wear in the shoot because I have friends that are legitimate cowboys.
I'm not a cowboy.
I don't even fake like a cowboy.
I grew up in Arkansas, but I was.
I didn't grow up, like, really riding horses a lot.
Running horses a little bit because I lived in the country, but not cowboy-ish.
Right.
We'll go to the rodeo, but I would also go for the crash-up derby, not just the rodeo.
Like, it was the whole thing.
So I was like, I don't want to insult real cowboys because I have friends who are real legitimate cowboys.
So if I dress like I'm trying to take it super serious, I don't want to insult anyone.
He's like, you ain't going to insult anybody.
It's going to be awesome.
Because my idea was look like howdy-d-d-duty.
Like, go, like, I don't.
Like Billy the Kid.
Like one of those when you go on vacation to Branson, Missouri, you get in, when you...
That was my idea.
Like we were doing some old, you know, you go in Silver Dollar City and you put your gear on, take a picture, and get out of there.
But he's like, nope.
And he sent me a bunch of pictures that he had taken at different rodeos, at different music festival.
And they're really good.
And he's like, trust me on this.
We're going to make it good.
So you're going more like Stetson.
I'm going full.
Like model.
Like George Strait?
Oh, yeah.
Like, like, you could.
Rangler commercial.
Yeah, and so we were going, he's like, I'll take care of the clothes.
Oh, wow.
And so we did the whole sizes thing.
By the way, Ronnie Dunn's funny.
And so we did the size, my pants, size 31,
shirt, my shirt will be a medium.
Like, if I could go small, maybe I end up going small.
I just hate that.
That hurts my, any sort of, like, man.
goes away when I have to go small.
Right, but that's your goal.
That's why you...
I would like to have muscles on top.
Skinny waist.
I want to look like an action figure.
Yeah.
That's the goal.
All right.
And then I had to measure my head yesterday for a cowboy hat.
And he was like, it's all about that, the right cowboy hat for you.
And so we did some head measuring in the next couple weeks.
We'll go shoot this thing.
And then we want to do something.
Because some of his pictures go for a lot of money because, one, he's Ronnie Dunn from Brooks
and Dunn.
And two, he's a great of time.
photographer. Right. And so we're going to take it, we're going to do the shoot and both sign the
picture and then auction it off for St. Jude. Oh, love it. So there's a real good to the end of this.
And we both had an idea in mind that we wanted to do something positive with the whole thing.
Because Ronnie Dunn from Brooks and Dunn came in on the show. And I know Ronnie and kicks a little bit
outside of the show. And I was giving Ronnie a hard time because when I went to watch Brooks and Dunn in
Vegas, I saw Ronnie selling his pictures. And I was like, you need that money that much. And so I said,
how much to do a picture of me.
And it turned into we're going to do a cowboy shoot, which he specializes in,
and we're going to auction the picture off for St. Jude.
So, and I think we're going to do it in the next couple weeks.
So that was the call yesterday.
Can't wait.
All day he kept texting me pictures that he had taken.
Oh, like, for inspiration?
Well.
I mean, he's done it, but he's like showing you a look.
Yeah, he's like, hey, check out.
This is the goal.
Check out how good this is.
And so, yeah, that was kind of the deal.
So we're still, we're rolling, for those that are wondering,
if we're going to take this cowboy photo.
shoot, we are.
I can't believe it's going to happen.
It's kind of funny, huh?
Yeah, because you guys were just talking about it right here
and you're like, okay, let's do it.
Yeah, I mean, Amy, you'll see some pictures that he's done?
Yeah.
Because some of his are going for a lot, a lot of money.
Like this is him doing calm before the storm
at Frontier Days in Cheyenne.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
That's how much it goes.
That one's $14,000.
Yeah, that's a lot.
Keep scrolling here.
Look at this one.
People riding horses.
What if he makes me trying to ride a bull?
Oh, that'd be great.
He's like, Bobby, trust me.
But these are all Ronnie done pictures.
Those are awesome.
I'm going to try to recreate that.
You'll be able to hang that a copy of it in your house.
Yeah, I'll probably have one for myself.
And I told him in exchange, I'm going to draw him nude.
Oh, perfect.
And then we're going to auction that off.
That seems fair to me.
Yeah, yeah.
And then we're going to do kicks, but he's not going to know.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this couple, Christina and Nathan, they were just.
planning a courthouse wedding, something really simple, but then their plans totally changed when
Christina had to be hospitalized with the heart condition. So they weren't able to do their courthouse
wedding, but the hospital stepped in and kind of took things over. David's bridle brought gowns
to the hospital for the bride to be to choose from. And then UC Davis, the hospital, they got food,
a cake, and the couple said I do in front of loved ones and, you know, the hospital stuff.
Boy, that is a good story.
And good for everybody for stepping in.
Boy, I made me smile a little bit.
That's a good one.
All right, that's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Hey, let's talk about your daughter for a second.
Yeah.
She's 12.
She's 12 going on 19.
Yeah.
Yeah, sometimes.
And she's just doing little things now that also, you know,
make me excited that she's growing up a little bit,
but then also scared that she's growing too fast.
What happened?
We just had a moment at our house where walked upstairs and she had a keep out sign on her door.
And then it's like, where in the world did she learn that from?
Which is fine.
I get that people do it.
And I know that I did it.
A lot of my friends did it.
So it's not that concerning.
But my husband's like really concerned that maybe she's dealing with something and she's wanting to be in her room and not wanting to talk to us about things.
And I was like, well, trust me, she's dealing with things for sure.
but I don't think she means keep everybody out.
It's probably just for Stevenson because he's a little brother and he's annoying.
He's like, no, I talk to her.
She said it's for everybody.
I was like, great. Awesome.
And do you respect that?
Well, I respect that to an extent.
Like, if I want to come in her room, I'm allowed to come in her room.
She's 12.
So just keep out when you don't want to go in.
Is that the girl?
We always knock and, you know, she can shut her door.
And she doesn't really hang out in there that much,
but sometimes she just wants to be alone, which is fine,
or she practices her piano and does her own thing.
But we always show respect.
But I was like, oh, my husband, I just wanted to,
I know that other people are going through.
So I posted it on Instagram.
And a lot of the comments I got were like, totally fine.
And I needed to show that to my husband
because he's the one that's kind of freaking out about it.
If this happened with you and your kids,
where they hit a point where they're like,
I don't need you anymore, you can hit us up.
Amy's got to keep outside from her daughter.
I'm like, she's loved with us.
only a year and a half and she already wants to keep us out.
So, yeah, it's just she's growing up way too fast.
It's like we got a little girl, but now we've got a teenager.
It happens so quick.
877-77 Bobby.
Yeah, hit us up if you want.
We'd love to hear your thoughts and if you have that in common with Amy in your life.
And then how you respect that, like, okay, they want their privacy, but it's not their room.
You just give them fake privacy where they think they're getting privacy, but you sneak in
and do all that when they're not there?
No.
If she were to have a diary, would you read it?
No, only if I felt concerned about something.
If I was concerned, yes.
But not if I, if she seemed pretty healthy.
She's 12.
When does she get her own Instagram?
Well, I have it.
It's almost time.
But it's almost time.
No.
What device is she going to use it on?
Well.
She has a tablet, but it's a Amazon fire.
But she could do it on your phone.
Okay.
That way you still have.
I could allow that.
That way you still have control of it.
But she is now learning how to, how,
to use Instagram in a mature-ish way.
Responsible.
I think I'm okay with that if I add her profile to mine and she can click on it.
Because she does have other friends from the orphanage that were adopted in the States and they have Instagram.
So sometimes we get on my Instagram and go look at their pictures and she chats with them.
But on mine.
I don't think it's a bad idea.
Okay.
Again, it's on your phone.
It's either get her warmer up to it or she's going to be 14 and just going on.
oh my God, it's like a kid that's never been around anyone that drinks or parties,
they go to college.
I'm like, this is everywhere.
I'm just going to go nuts.
Yeah, I'm not opposed to that.
But then it's like, sometimes she does, she had Stevenson do a photo shoot for the other day.
And I think one of her friends actually that she sees on Instagram sometimes does these
photos shoots where I'm like, huh, I wonder if her mom knows, but it means not my place
isn't anything.
But I just am like, the pictures are a little iffy.
And I think she saw that.
And then she, not iffy for like, if you're 12, like you don't need to be like, you
doing your best model pose kind of down.
So then I look at Stashear's tablet.
She has all these photos and she had Stevenson do a photo shoot,
like take pictures and she was kind of doing some of those moves.
And I was like, no, no, no.
So as long as she doesn't put those.
But she doesn't understand that that's like not, you know,
you don't need to be like, oh, on the ground.
Like.
I'm telling you.
Bobby, it would make you uncomfortable.
I'm uncomfortable watching you do the moves, much less.
I know, I know.
The Bobby Bones Show
Amy's daughter is 12
and she put a sign on her door
that said, keep out.
And Amy thought it was just for
her little brother,
but it's not, it's for everyone.
No, I've already.
Yeah, so we got some callers
I want to talk.
Monica in Ohio is on.
Hey, Monica, you have a 13-year-old son?
Yes, actually, he will be 14 in December.
So what do you think about this?
What would you like to tell Amy?
I think that it's perfectly normal.
My 13-year-old son comes home from school sometimes
and is in his room until dinner.
I have talked to him about it and he says sometimes I just want to just be alone and, you know, as a mom I can kind of relate to that.
Sometimes I just want to be alone too.
And I read an article that kind of touched on that and they had talked about how kids, you know, between the ages of 12 and 14 are kind of trying to like learn some independence, trying to not meet us as much, which of course is a parent kind of stinks.
But I think that it's perfectly normal.
I know I did it when I was younger, and I think I turned out all right.
I'm still doing it now.
Keep out.
Yeah, just like keep.
I live alone, but I still have a sign on my door that says keep out.
Yeah.
It's for the burglars at night.
Hey, you take whatever you want.
Just let me sleep.
Hey, thank you for that call.
Amy has a 12-year-old, and she's like, should I be concerned that she's asking us to keep out?
And let's go to, I believe it's Leah in Pittsburgh.
Yes, hi.
How's it going?
Hi.
Hey, you're on there.
Go ahead.
Thank you.
What I think is, I think that Amy's daughter is trying to just exert some control over her life.
And it's very normal at that age.
Like the previous caller said, like between 12 and 14, kids are really needing their independence.
And it's our job as parents to allow them to have some sort of control.
Because if we, like, control everything for them, then it causes anxiety for them.
And it doesn't make for a healthy adult later on in life.
You know what I mean?
And I'm literally an example of that.
Like I wasn't allowed to lock my door.
I wasn't allowed to put on signs like that.
So I'm like the opposite.
And I've learned through therapy and years of, you know, just reading books and parenting.
And that is what children need.
And we have like a desire as parents to protect our children and keep them under our, you know, like umbrella, so to speak.
but we have to do.
We have to allow them the freedom and the independence and the control.
As hard as it is for us, we have to.
Amy?
That's good and good, good wisdom.
Good encouragement.
Stammer it out.
Well, no, I mean, yeah, I'm processing what she's saying because for me, it's like I've only been a mom for a year and a half.
So, yes, already kind of giving up some of that control.
And not that I'm trying to control my kids, but already like, I've got them under my, yes, my umbrella.
so already having her like spread her wings just even a little bit is like oh no like stop but yeah i mean
that's just part of adopting an older child is going to happen faster and i need to i need to let her
let her find who she is let's do one more tammy in oklahoma now you have raised several teenagers
am i correct yes you are and you think if she's putting a keep outside on her door it means what
she's doing something she doesn't want you to know about i don't think so
I think she just wants people out.
Like, it's her way of being like, this is my room.
I want, I say who.
I say when.
Tammy, talk some sense into her here.
Wait, what do you mean?
Like, drugs?
No.
Like, saying things to friends, she might not ought to say,
writing things she might not ought to write.
But you said she doesn't have electronic devices.
Well, she has a little smart watch that makes phone calls,
but she can only call, like, five people.
It's all family.
We're struggling in the friend department, so I'm not worried about that.
Well, I had passwords to my daughter's Facebook and everything until she was like 15 at least,
and it was all good until she took me off there.
There was never a problem.
The daughter I had that wanted to keep everything from me is the daughter that's been an issue.
Yeah.
I've had five raised.
Okay.
All right.
Well, I'll keep an eye out for things that I think she might be doing that she shouldn't be.
But so far.
Maybe she should sweep the room every time she leaves and doesn't know it.
This is all very new.
I know.
It's funny, my brain went straight to like this.
She's like doing drugs.
Yeah, you yelled at it.
She's like, no.
We heard that, Amy.
She's like, no, maybe she's just writing things she shouldn't write.
You can add to this conversation on our Facebook page.
Just go over to bobbybones.com and click up there.
We'll put it up.
Amy's got a 12-year-old daughter, teenage girl.
I mean, and it's not like the sign is very official.
It's like a blueboard.
Post-it note, it's going to fall off.
How punk rock of her. Maybe she's total punk. She didn't even
nail it in or anything.
By the way, tonight, our 2019
I-Hart Radio Music Festival,
tonight, performance from Zach Brown Band,
Hootie and the Blowfish, marshmallow and
cane, 8-7 Central on the CW.
So you should check that out. They're going to be pretty cool.

So this dancer in Michigan had a panic attack. She was getting zombie makeup done.
for a show, and she has a panic attack not related,
and she has to go to the ER.
So she's in full zombie makeup,
and they didn't realize it was makeup,
I thought something was really, really wrong with her.
Oh, no.
So imagine somebody comes in, their skins all busted up.
They're like, well, rush her in!
They're like, oh, my God, we've never seen this before.
What do we do?
What's happening?
And so that's what happened.
There's a professional dancer in Michigan,
and she was getting zombie makeup done
for a Halloween marketing campaign,
and her panic attack was so bad,
she had to be taken to ER, but they thought that something was happening with her skin, like her flesh was burned.
Because it was all over her face. So they rushed her into trauma unit. Oh, wow.
That makeup must have been really good. Yeah, like, shout out to the makeup artist. That's a good point.
Yeah.
Shout out to the makeup artist. Fortunately, she recovered from the panic attack. And the hospital was then said,
told, hey, you're okay. She's like, where I'd say, I'm not, I'm just freaking out.
Or you freak out even more when they're like, trauma.
Yeah, they said they couldn't comment on a patient, but they did issue.
a statement. The emergency room is not a place for fun in games.
Wait, what did she do wrong? I think. I'm looking at her. Amy, it's around her mouth. It's like
a goatee, but it's like eating skin off. It looks like something got into her face. Like a flesh
eating bacteria. Like she's on the hospital bed with this flesh eating off her face.
And if she came in, I'll be like, something got her. A dog or a diseased fish that she ate,
one of those three-eyed fish from The Simpsons. So there you go. Doctors, uh, they're
They're lecturing her, but again, I don't feel like she did anything wrong.
Yeah, it's not like she was trying to play a trick on the ER.
Jeff Bezos is still on top of the Forbes 400.
So here you go, Jeff Bezos from Amazon.
$169 billion.
Even after his divorce?
Wow.
Wow.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
His ex-wife is on the list, though, too.
Well, of course.
When havesies.
Yeah, shout out to her.
Bill Gates at number two with $157 billion.
I watch some of that Bill Gates documentary on Netflix.
Inside Bill's.
Brain.
Did you start it?
Yes.
It's not a documentary.
It's a, it's a, like four or five episodes, I think.
Yeah.
I found it to be quite boring.
Not how he thinks, but just how it was shot.
Yeah, I agree.
I kind of thought it was going to be a little bit more interesting and then I don't,
now that I know it's a series, I don't know.
I quit.
Oh, you quit?
I mean, I haven't finished.
Too many other things I wanted to watch.
I learned a lot.
And I was reading about how he started learning that some kids don't even water.
Like, I got it.
I watched like half an hour of it.
Yeah.
Warren Buffett at 3, Mark Zuckerberg at 4, and Larry Ellison at 5.
Who's that?
Larry Ellison, software guy, another tech guy.
He's down at $96 billion.
Oh, come on.
You can do better than that.
Come on, man, step it up.
Get it together.
Get it with it.
It's just so much money.
Like, you're never going to spend all that money.
Bill Gates gives all his away, basically.
He can't give it away fast enough.
He's just trying to give it all away.
helping kids get immunizations, helping people get water.
Sanitation and water in third world countries.
You know what he did that I found to be interesting
in how we're just so competitive by nature
and he could get people to actually help him in that?
He said once he learned of the crisis,
the sanitation and the water crisis
and he was seeing how moms and babies were dying
from like, you know, diarrhea or something.
That was a big part of it.
The diary was killing people all over the world.
Right.
He's like, how can we in America sit by
and watch this happen when we know how to prevent this.
So he emailed like some top universities that he's probably, you know,
that of course they know who Bill Gates is.
He was like, hey, can y'all help me figure this out?
Like, we can figure this out?
And no, but everyone was just like, eh.
And then he's like, so you know what I did?
Turn it into a competition.
Then he sent it out to everybody.
He's like, you know what?
I'm going to hold a fair of sorts.
And Best College gets this as a prize.
And you get the recognition that you helped me come up with whatever.
And then boom, all of a sudden, genius ideas start flowing in.
He's like, where were you all when I emailed?
You're the first time, but he said you turn it into the competition and all of a sudden people want to play.
Okay.
Low competition time.
Here we go.
$500 to the person that finds me a girl I date at least three times, going on three dates with.
Oh, yeah, I'm on it.
There you go.
Okay.
Are you serious?
Have you dated her before?
It doesn't matter.
If I go on three, everybody's in.
Got to find that girl from the wedding.
If I know you, you're in this competition.
But you know that you have to.
when you go on the third date you have to pay so you'll probably be like that's what i was worried about
but that's part of it has to be so worth it that i'm like you know what third day could mean and i'd be
happy to pay it yes you're right that's you're not wrong in that okay so if it's borderline at two i'm
not going to go three you have to want this like bill gates wanted clean water for children
i want it more than bill gates wants clean water for children okay so i'll do that five
hey raymond oh you in yeah i got this girl in louville for you okay but here's it you know long
distance doesn't work.
Well, that's the kind of like shortish distance.
No, it has to be like right in your neighborhood.
I'm pretty sure.
Yeah, right down the street.
Someone in on the block.
So here's what we'll do.
Anybody that I know.
But again, I'm not going to go out with them just because you're like, you have to go out with her.
Yeah.
It has to be like, oh, wow, that sounds interesting.
You can't cut her in for half and you guys both make it with $250.
After all the, you can't set me up for loss here.
I know how some of you are.
I didn't even think of that.
I had already thought of it.
So, yeah.
We'll be in for that.
Anyone that sets me up.
It can be anybody that can get a hold of me in any way.
Like, if I know you, you're in the game.
Wow.
Okay.
It's not just us.
Morgan number two is staring me down right now.
What's the deal?
Nothing.
Hey, what's up with you and the guy that came knocking on your door?
The door-to-door salesman.
What's the update?
He never followed up, so I just kind of left it as it is.
Well, hold on a second.
Here's the thing.
This guy comes knocking on a door.
Morgan No.
2's house.
She's a new homeowner.
pretty cool-ish part of town.
Yeah.
And he's like, hey, I'm here to sell some insurance, and they talk, he goes away.
Morgan, I'm just like, well, that door-to-door salesman is pretty cute.
He leaves her, his card with her in case she wants some insurance or financial advising or something with money.
And so she texts him and goes, hey, I don't need any money advice, but why don't we get a drink?
And he's like, great, let's do that.
Then he never follows up.
Well, he was, we had agreed on, like, doing it, like, earlier,
this week and I just never heard from him and I wasn't going to like keep pushing it because
I already like put it out there that I was interested so I was kind of seeing if yeah y'all
went back and forth on schedules and it was yeah so and he just never followed up and I was
like well much just is what it is we'll just leave it at that I bet he so it comes around I would
think but what if he comes around is it like well where were you earlier this week let me be
devil's advocate a little bit I would think that Morgan I'ma took you're a bit intimidating
for somebody just off the street to be like oh cool I go out with them
You have a high profile job.
You're successful for your age.
You're attractive.
And I would be like, I need to play it super cool so I can kind of get on that level.
So I wouldn't rush it out yet.
Does he know what you do?
Yeah, we kind of briefly talked about it when you come to the door.
Oh, okay.
So, yeah, I'm not pushing it.
I'm not against if it happens.
Yeah, don't push it.
I'm just kind of letting him come to me now because he knows I'm interested.
If it were me, I would try to be like, oh, I need to show her that I'm just not like, let's go.
Let's give it a second.
All right.
And he's apparently super hot, right?
Mm-hmm.
Looks like Jamie Tatum.
No, he's magic mic.
I like how you answered immediately, Eddie.
Oh, well.
I can respect that.
No, I can respect that.
I love it.
I was like he's super hot.
I was waiting for Morgan.
I said, oh, you're sure it is.
I saw a picture.
He my type.
Okay, cool.
I feel pretty good about that.
Maybe Morgan, number two.
He has it on his calendar for Friday.
No, no, no.
You don't do that to me.
Don't hit me with my rule.
They didn't set up a time.
Okay.
Do we have to go through this again?
Everybody listening?
Let me tell you a little story.
about me. I've never been engaged. I've never been married. I don't, 39 years old. Don't have any
kids. Like, I'm as single as can be. I wish I wasn't. I'm not, you know, going to sacrifice
my integrity to be with someone. Right. But me and this girl go, hey, we're going to go out.
We go out for a quick lunch one time. It was pretty good. I was like, hey, we should do a second one.
I told her, I'm not going to be in town for a couple weeks. But we'll do this day. We put the
X on the calendar. There it is. Here's the sound of the X being made. Right? There's the X.
And so the X is a Tuesday. And I call her, I text her on the Friday before the Tuesday.
I go, hey, we're still on this Tuesday, right? She goes, yeah, we're too good. All right, we do good.
I'll see it a two day. That's kind of what it felt like in my head. Tuesday comes.
It's like two hours before. I'm like, hey, I'll see you at this place, 6.30. It's like,
oh, I didn't hear from you between Friday and Tuesday. I thought it was canceled.
Look, what are you talking about? Since when do I have to call every day and just check?
When do I have to call and re-solidify what I've already re-solidified?
Listen, if someone's going on dates with someone, especially a second one, whether it's the guy or the girl,
they want to know that they're being thought about or there's interest here.
It's not just like a mark on the calendar.
If it was date four and above, I would be like.
So you don't think date two justifies being like, how's your weekend?
You could also be called a stalker.
Like, why you won't you leave me alone?
We just went out once, loser.
Oh, wow.
And also, when an appointment is set,
You go to it.
Okay.
And the fact that you call it an appointment.
If you and I made an appointment for 2003.
And it was a Wednesday.
I would show up even if it was set today.
I'm so.
But I'm not.
You're not wrong, but you're not right.
Like I hear what you're saying and I'm trying so hard.
It's a culture issue.
Be on your side, but I can't.
Anyway.
Like she didn't want to be sitting around waiting.
Maybe she's been burned before.
That's not my problem.
I'm in my whole life.
She went made other plans.
I'm in therapy.
I'm trying to get better.
So you like text her your therapist's name?
Like, I think you need to hit this.
We haven't even communicated since.
Did she, oh.
The last thing she texted me was she goes, it was a little sassy.
It was like, oh, I guess our communication styles are different than something else.
And I just hit her with that thumbs up emoji and was like done.
Okay.
She's probably done after that too.
Yeah.
Well, we're both done.
Wow.
The one that got away.
Do I know who, which one this is?
Let me say this too about the one that got away.
Oh, gosh.
Because some recent talk has been, I spent time with my ex-girlfriend who we were together for almost five years.
Over four years we were together.
Long time.
Who in my long relationship with her, obviously Amy's going to become super close to her because Amy and I are close on air and off.
Amy's dearest friend I have.
And so Amy's great friends with her.
My ex-girlfriend went to Haiti with Amy before Amy got her kids.
Yes.
And so they're close.
And my ex-girlfriend calls and goes, hey, I'm working.
in Nashville a few times a year now because
I've been promoted at my job and I'm like, great.
I'm in town one night
why don't we get some dinner or something.
So we have dinner, it's great.
Laugh the whole time. And I was playing the opera that night.
And I said, you welcome to come to the got an old
opry with me. I'm going to go do some stand-up at the opera.
And she's like, great. We go, we have a great time.
Go back and that's the deal.
And it was great to see her, gave her a big old hug.
And Amy's like, that's the one that got away.
And I've been thinking about that.
I don't believe that there's ever anyone that got away.
She did.
I don't.
I don't think what I believe in my heart, and this is not just me, but I believe for everyone,
that there's not the one that got away.
There's the one that you can learn you made a mistake that can also affect your decisions going forward.
That's not a very good song, though.
Yeah, it is.
She was the one that told me how to think about other decisions in my future.
Right.
And got the same ring.
But I, and everyone on the air a little bit and off the air, I was like, yeah, that's the one that
got away. Yeah. And I'm like, I don't believe there's a such thing in my life. Say I if you think she got
away. Aye. But my point is, I don't think that that's a thing in my life. And the fact that she called
you to tell you or text you. No, she just genuinely cares about him. She's not wanting to get back
together because she came over to my house the next night. I got a little bit of the lowdown.
Oh, and she is going to be coming town a lot more. And I think she's going to stay at my place. So it's,
I'm thankful that she's going to, we're going to get to see her more because she is such an amazing
person and I'm glad that she's still such a joy in your life like to hear that y'all laugh the whole
time and how to good like she's someone for you that made you you're awesome she made you better
oh boy right you know she did I don't I feel like I'm I'd have been pretty good anyway
now I'm insulted don't be insulted by this whole thing I want somebody to come knock on my door
and sell me insurance and I'd be like we're working on baby we're working on yeah we're about
Oh, you're just going to send them out to the house.
$500.
What about one of those
like dating services?
Are those still a thing?
Like it's just lunch? Not escort services.
Like the ones late at night on TV?
No, not call 900 to talk about, no.
She's like, you know, being a hot girl,
some people think I'm with the guys all the time,
but the truth is, I never get asked out.
Call me now, 100, I'm lonely.
And if you do, we'll talk for $4.99 a minute.
You know, hot girls need love too.
and I'll be right.
And you know you call
and it's some guy named Gerald
who just talks like a girl.
Those marshals do come on.
Anyway, I completely
pivoted away from that Amy on purpose.
That's a skill.
That's a skill right there.
Oh, I saw that happening.
Out of here.
Anyway, there's no such thing.
Don't look at your life as regret.
This is in general.
That's not regret.
The one that got away is a regret?
No, that's just like the one that got away,
but I learned a lot from her.
I've had fish that got away,
But if it comes back and bites the line again,
You can't compare a five-year relationship to a fish.
Why not?
It's an analogy.
It's a grand scheme of time and life.
We're all just here in a blink of an eye.
Well, yes, in everybody's life, not just your life.
I thought you're talking to your life.
So, Amy, what did she say about it?
We're not, this is.
It's not, we're not talking about other people's lives.
We don't talk about us.
True.
And what happens with us?
So anyway
I'll be working on my new song
There's no such thing as the one that got away
There's only people that make your future decisions
Better by looking at your past
And going I could have done a better job at that
So I'll do a better job in the future
Sounds like a hit
It's so good
Boom
In the future
All right
Wrap
Right bye
All right we'll go around the room
And see what's happening with everybody
In a segment we call
What's the Haps?
Hey
Hey!
What's the Haps?
Amy, what's the Habs?
I officially finished all of Unbelievable.
On Netflix.
Wow, what a show.
Yeah, when it ended, I was like,
it's heavy, heavy, heavy in the beginning.
And then when you get it, you're like,
okay, wow, okay, I feel good about how this ended.
So you have that to look forward to, just know that.
And then I started Succession, or is that what it's called?
Yeah, everybody loves it that watches it.
Yeah.
Do you love it?
That's my husband and I's new show,
because he did not want to watch Unbelievable, too heavy for him.
Yes.
really, really like it. It's a little like
blue, what's the word?
Yeah, like dirty. Dirty at times.
But, I mean, so was Breaking Bad
and Sons of Anarchy and all of those. Yeah, don't be judging
now. I'm not. I'm not. At some
moments, I'm like, oh, what? But
it's really good. So if you have access to it.
You know, I watched another episode
of beep yesterday. Again, I never watched that show.
It's pretty good.
But again, it's so early.
I guess I'm really not
watching anything else. I'm watching. I'm
and Handmaid's Tale, but I can only do one episode at a time.
That's heavy.
Heavy, man.
Yeah.
I love it, but it's just so...
When you watch that, do you think, okay, this could like really happen?
I feel like it's kind of happening already.
Yeah, in a weird way.
In a weird way, yeah.
So, but...
It's tough.
All right, there you go.
Hey! What's the Hatch?
What's the Hats of You?
Well, tonight, Lauren Elena is playing at a bar as part of Dancing with the Stars.
They're shooting her playing at one of the places on Broadway.
Oh, cool.
And so I'm going to go and do a thing and introduce her and do some talking with the camera because I guess on dancing with the stars this week, it's contestants from the past that have a connection with the contestant now.
And so I'm going to go do that tonight, which I'm pretty excited because Lauren's doing so great.
And she's got to beat Vanderby, who I like, he's such a good dancer.
She's got to beat Hannah Bee.
The thing about Hannaby that's annoying is they're acting like, and she's acting like she doesn't have dance experience.
She danced for 14 years.
And she dances a talent when she was in.
pageants. And she's like, well, it's this first time I've ever done dancing with the stars.
Stop it. So we've got to get Lauren Alanda there because Laurenna's never danced.
And that's our girl. And so I'm supporting as heavily as I can.
Also like Kate Flannery from the office. Oh, yeah.
Like with Vanderbeek, it's hard to say anything bad about his dancing. He's just a good dude,
good dancing. It's awesome. I know. I like him. We were on the CW together
last night. All right. Yeah. The I Heart Festival.
He's just a good dude.
And then Kate Flannery, awesome.
But we got to be there for Lauren.
She dances again Monday night of Dancing with the Stars.
But tonight we're doing that.
I also had a great dinner last night.
With a friend, we also do some work together.
And we were just talking about some work stuff,
but we just got to talk about our grandmas.
And I guess neither one of us really knew how each other's grandmother kind of raised us.
My grandmother raised me and even adopted me for part of my life.
And sometimes I'll just kind of skate over it real quick and go,
yeah my grandmother adopted me for a while,
but what had happened was when I was a kid,
my mom left, and we didn't really know where she was.
And so my grandmother had to be my legal guardian
because I was with her.
So she had to file all the paperwork.
My last name got changed.
And I was, you know, her son, basically.
I was her grandson and her son.
And I didn't know this until later in life
when I found my old social security card
where my name was changed.
And I wrote about it in my first book.
But we both sat for a long time.
And I think the dinner, we had scheduled like an hour.
We said almost two hours last night.
Oh, wow.
Just really talking about how influential our grandmothers were,
which made me think I wanted to come on the air this morning
and just send a shout out, not just to grandmothers
that have to step in,
but anyone that steps in to influence kids' lives
in a really positive way when you really didn't sign up for it.
And I'll put you on this list to Amy,
because here you are.
You've adopted.
You're a mom to two kids.
Eddie's got two foster kids living with him,
who him and his wife were just like,
we're going to be foster parents.
They have two kids of their own
and they have two other kids living with them.
My grandmother did not sign up to be my mom.
And she was for a lot of my life.
She was the most influential person in my life, period.
And so if you're a step-parent,
if you're a grandmother raising kids,
if you're any of these things
where you're just kind of thrown into being a parent
and you accept that,
like shout out from me, like appreciate it.
And I was just kind of reminded
of how much I appreciate that last night
when we were talking about it.
It was just a really great dinner with it.
who's a dear friend to me anyway, but the thing was, we didn't even know that our grandmother's
raised us both. Yeah. And I was just, I was super appreciative to her. She's not around anymore.
But, what year did she die? Um, I was a, I was a, I was 19. Oh, okay. So it's, it's been, it's been a while.
But, um, to other. Do you think she knew that, that how much you appreciated? No, because I don't think I knew
that then. Right. I was an idiot 19 year old. I think it took me being in therapy and someone going,
hey, where was any consistency in your life at all growing up, period? And really, it was. And really, it was,
her for about seven or eight years and my stepdad who's not my stepdad anymore
Arkansas Keith Arkansas Keith for about you know four years or so those are really my only two
influences that had any stability whatsoever and so yeah so Shetton this isn't even about my
grandmother but just reminded me to to teachers who you just drive a kid home from school
doesn't have a way to get home because the parents are working or there's only one parent or
that anyone who's in a kid's life that you didn't sign up for that but when you
you're thrust into it, you do it with open arms because you just feel like it's the right thing
to do? Like, I appreciate that because that happened to me. So anyway, that's what the hat.
What's the haves? I'm more than Lauren tonight. But I had a great dinner last night with
I like all that, though. Went for two hours. It was fantastic. Like, just, just, I'm so appreciative
again because of that. All right. Hey, hey, hey. What's the hats? Lunchbox, what's the
haps? Oh, man, I'm excited. I'm taking my baby to get it washed today. She reached 200,000 miles
earlier this week. I'm talking about my 05 Ultima.
And so it's time she gets a car wash. So I'm going to go and wash her and vacuum her.
And, you know, just give her a little special treat because I haven't done that in a while.
200,000 miles, man. That's a lot. Good for you. Eddie, what's the haps? Hey. Hey.
What's the hat?
Speaking of cleaning things, yesterday I got my teeth clean. I guess I'd do it like once a year or whatever.
It's free with our insurance. And I didn't realize how good I feel after my teeth are clean.
Like I left going, like, gosh, I don't like it when you do that sound in the radio, but I get it.
Right, right. Sorry.
But, man, it was good that I did that.
Everyone should do that once in a while.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, what's the hatch?
Morgan number two, what's the haps with you?
I started feeding my groundhog that's outside.
Oh, yeah, she has a random groundhog in her backyard.
So I started leaving some carrots and stuff out for it.
I also have a possum back there and some more squirrels and I'm getting a bird feeder.
so I'm in modern-day Snow White over here.
That's awesome.
Dr. Doolittle over there.
All right.
Hey, hey, that's what's the hats.
Hey, what's the hat?
Hey, let's go talk to Lauren in Texas,
who's called the show.
We appreciate that so much.
Hey, Lauren, what's going on?
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Hey, so I'm a long-time listener, 10-plus years,
and I'm really anxious about something,
so I figured I would reach out to my friends
and see if y'all can give me some advice.
All right, bring it to us.
So my seven-month-old daughter is going to daycare for the first time on Monday.
The first time she'll be away from me in this entire seven months.
So I was just trying to see if y'all could give me some advice on how to handle it.
Sure.
Listen, I don't have a baby.
Amy, it's not a baby, so we can go to Eddie and lunchbox.
Eddie talked to her for a second.
You have two boys.
Never done daycare.
So I don't really know what that's like.
So you're stepping back from this?
My wife stayed at home.
So, yeah, I don't have any info on this.
Okay, lunchbox has a baby in daycare lunchbox.
Oh, it's going to be tough.
When you drop your kid off, you're going to walk in there and you're going to see all these other kids and you're going to not want to let go of your kid.
But look, you can stand outside, look through the door and you're going to see, look, you're gone.
The kid forgets about you and is making friends and it's part of growing up.
It's hard.
You're going to cry and you're going to sit there and wonder all day.
How is my kid doing?
But just enjoy the freedom at the same time because you need to take time to yourself.
But it's going to be okay.
your kid is making friends and it's awesome.
And the daycare, you obviously trust them, so it's your kids in good hands.
What you think, Lauren?
Yeah, I mean, I have a friend whose son is in the same class.
Yeah.
And so she kind of told me a lot of the same things.
And I really want her to be socialized.
Like, I can't be her own friends.
So it would be really great for her to get out there.
I know she's going to get sick and get all the nastiness from daycare,
but I'm just trying to keep it together.
I'm sure it's worse for me than it is for her, so I really appreciate it.
Well, thank you for the call.
I hope that helped you.
Thank you so much.
Stop you all later.
All right.
See you later.
Ashley and Virginia.
Thanks.
You're on the phone.
What do you want to say, Ashley?
Hi, Bobby.
I just wanted to say that I appreciate all of you.
I'm a long time for a long-time listener, and I wanted to just go around the room and
say one thing that I appreciate about all of you guys.
Okay.
Bobby, I love that you are so vulnerable with everyone and just,
opening up your life. Amy, you have the most beautiful soul. Eddie, you seem like an absolutely
incredible dad. Lunchbox, you are 100% you and you don't care what anybody's saying. Morgan number two,
you are basically, like, I feel like you're me on the show because I'm the same age, and I totally am
one of those people who are votes for every single one of your draft picks.
Oh, stop with the draft page.
What's happening?
I'll get the results of those too, by the way.
Well, listen, I'm going to look at the draft here in a second.
You can go vote at Bobby Bones.com on today's Tom Hanks draft.
But, Ashley, we appreciate that.
Thanks for listening.
And the fact that you know all five of us sitting in the room, whenever, you know, we're not all talking all the time.
That means a lot.
So I appreciate you being here.
Well, I appreciate you.
Thank you, Bobby.
All right.
See you later.
Morgan number two, by the way, Morgan number two and lunchbox are leading in the draft season.
And they're doing pretty good in the draft today.
Morgan number two sitting third at 20 percent.
Lunchbox is sitting second.
And right now,
I'm at the top.
I'm not leading.
I'm just leading right now.
Yeah, you got fours.
But who's in last?
Oh,
Eddie.
How is that possible?
How am I second to last?
I don't understand.
Yeah, Eddie.
So anyway, go vote bobbybones.com.
Your boy here is trying to just get back in the season.
Trying to get back in the mix.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
This man buys Alexis with his tax refund check.
That, by the way, just has a wrinkle in the story.
Refund check wasn't his.
Uh-oh.
And so now he's looking at 10 years in prison.
That's not good.
I mean, the moral of the story is don't spend money that's not yours, even if it's put into your account accidentally.
But a man managed to get a $980,000 refund from the IRS.
The check was issued by a mistake back in 2016.
So he goes and he buys a car with it.
He also claimed he was owed hefty refunds for the following years as well.
He's just claiming stuff.
And they're just sending it to them without checking it until they check it.
So, yeah, I saw a doctor, too, is going to jail for 40 years because of all the opioids he was prescribing.
Did you guys see that story?
Yeah.
I think it was, he had prescribed like 50,000 prescriptions or something?
A lot of them.
That could be off a bit, maybe even low.
And so, oh my God.
He's going to jail for 40 years.
And yeah, yeah, go jail.
What is it, 100,000?
Oh, 500,000.
What?
Why?
What's the official thing?
500,000 what?
$500,000 doses of opioids.
He's just throwing them out.
I was talking to a friend,
I don't know a friend,
but somebody I know who's a judge
and she was saying that these doctors,
sometimes, the bad ones, the real bad ones,
people come with five IDs
and they'll give them five prescriptions.
Wow.
Like, it's a real, real bad doctor.
Yeah, that is.
Because they're just trying to make money
and they'll take cash.
It's all cash.
Yeah.
It's amazing to me that you can be that smart
to be a doctor,
but be that dumb.
It just probably just,
maybe some of you learn about it
and it's a way to get more money
and then,
because a lot of doctors too,
they make a lot of money
but they also have a lot of medical bills.
Well, with this guy,
he was also an addict himself.
I needed money to keep his going.
Oh, well, there you go.
There's that.
Oh, that makes me think of Dr. Death.
Dr. Steve Williams, the wrestler?
No, Dr. Death, the back surgeon or the,
no, no, Dirty John.
Sorry, dirty John.
They're both bad people.
But Dirty John, he would,
he would take drugs from patients to fuel his habit.
That's crazy.
He would act like he was putting it in their thing to offer them pain relief.
And then he would slip it in his pocket because other nurses were tracking the, you know, how much was going out.
And so one patient would be like laying in pain.
He's like, I don't know.
I gave her the drugs.
But really, he took him for himself.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's slick.
Dirty.
Bad, but that's slick.
Dirty John, Dr. Death.
Tomato.
We're done around here.
What's going on?
Me today.
I am just back with my dad.
My dad's had some stuff going on this week, trying to get him better.
So I'm his nurse.
We should give him pain medicine, but not really.
I am administering that.
And trust me, I get nervous when I crush it up, and I just hope I'm doing it right.
What about you?
I have therapy today.
I have a haircut today.
I'll be with Lauren and Elena tonight.
We're shooting some stuff for Dancing with Stars.
Oh, fun.
Yeah, that's tonight, and we'll see you tomorrow.
Tomorrow on the show, Dan and Shay.
Both of them.
Yes.
Yeah.
I hate it when just one of them shows up.
Also, Brantley Gilbert on the show tomorrow.
So, and then some dance parties and Friday show will be pretty good.
I do, I do believe.
All right, see you guys on Friday.
Thank you.
