Starting point is 00:02:51 The Bobby Bones post show pre-show. I was looking at my Instagram stories. Someone posted a picture. of their Apple Watch, and it says just trying to live that Fit 33 lifestyle, which is the new diet and lifestyle that I've... I'm living, by the way. I haven't started. I'm living it. I'm testing it on myself.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Fit 33. Is that picture? They have their Apple Watch. Show me their calories. You've got to burn 500 calories a day. You only eat for eight hours, but the first two hours only the time you can have sugar, and that's only natural sugar. Except for one day, which you can have any kind of sugar in the first two hours. So it's a whole life. It's a lifestyle, you know. You can pick whatever day that is.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Whatever it works for you? As long as it's in the first two hours, you can't have on your free date, whatever you want to call it. You can do whatever you want. Listen, it's a lifestyle. Sometimes your lifestyle, you don't live it perfectly. Yeah, that's true. So here's another one. I just sit and look at my Instagram stores I've been tagged in sometimes.
Starting point is 00:03:42 And this one is from Berkeley Grace. Okay. She writes, on her picture, she writes, listening to my, like, 50th at the Bobbycast. I still don't know what Napster is. at Mr. Bobby Bones. Guess that was before my time. Wow.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Yeah. She's listening to the Tinil Towns Bobbycast. I sometimes will play a playlist to discover something new and then go back to my same three artists. But Napster was the first streamer of music. The best. Basically, and it was all free. And because it was free, it was peer to peer,
Starting point is 00:04:17 meaning once one person got these songs, anybody could go get the songs from them. You just download it for free. There was nothing to pay for. And it was so, stupid that we thought we were being jobbed whenever they took it away from us. We're like, what?
Starting point is 00:04:30 Metallica wants us to pay for music. I hate them. Yeah, we loved it. The artist hated it. Because they were making things and not making any money off of it. So, but Napster was a big deal. It was basically Apple Music, IHartRadio, Spotify, before that happened. And you paid nothing for it for the music part of it. And we would download them on our really big computers. Huge computers and you would just
Starting point is 00:04:51 go in, like, what's my letter tonight? L. I'm going on every song that starts with L. Period. It didn't matter the format. Yeah, that was a whole thing. Here's somebody that got fight, ground repeat tattooed on their arm. Oh, wow. This is from Aguajardo 33.
Starting point is 00:05:08 This is the girl from yesterday who cried. I saw it. Watching Modern Love, and she posted on her Instagram. I can't believe I was just crying on the air. So somebody posted a book and failed until you don't. I'm just showing you guys what I see in my Instagram stories as I'm going through my day. But, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:24 I can't pick up my... dog today to like 430 or 5 from surgery. I do talk about that later on. Just a post update. You hear about that, but just got a note from the vet. So that's the deal. I was thinking about you in this story, Amy, a mom of three carves out a tiny mom cave underneath the stairs and uses it to recharge. Now your mom cave has been your closet. Yes. You just go sit in the closet and think or cry. It's the only place where you can. I have three doors between me and there. I have my bedroom door, my bathroom door, and then my closet door. That's a lot of doors for
Starting point is 00:05:59 people to get through to get to me. Each one has a lock. So, you know, that's where I go. She said she spent about 30 bucks building her little mom's spot. Do you have a spot? Your closet. It's in my closet. Do you have one from your kids? I mean work is my like, oh, fair, closet. And then I walk the dog. Lunchbox? No, not really. I can just stick the kid in his crib. So the living room. Until he's mobile, it's wherever you wanted to. Yeah, it's wherever I wanted to. be he can't come get me. Mine is just my house. Because I'm usually going at 10,000 miles an hour until I get to my house.
Starting point is 00:06:31 And I'm like, nope. Nobody knows where I live. Nobody comes where I am. All done. Check out. So I do love my, I do, not even my house, my home. For the first time of my life, like I feel like I have a home. I love that.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah. I get great, man. I go. I got my pictures up. I do start to feel a little bit selfish that all the pictures are pictures of me. It's your home, though. You can do whatever you want. I know, but I would rather it not.
Starting point is 00:06:55 be. You want some of the kids? No, but what I want is to have my own events to put up. Those are coming. And a lot of them, it's art stuff too. And like some kids in St. Judah painted and stuff, I have that frame to put up. But it's just a lot of just me by myself in pictures too. It's like just me.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I can see that in the mirror. Once you find that wife though and the kids, there's a lot of stuff. Speaking of my house, we will be having a party sometime in the next couple of a few weeks. We had to move the date because Amy's doing something else. I don't even know the other day to solidify it yet,
Starting point is 00:07:28 but, so I'm going to have a party. What day are we looking at? We don't know yet. We're still TBD in it. The one day we were TBD in it, Amy can't do it. So we're TBD in on a couple other days right now. But with that being said,
Starting point is 00:07:44 these are the worst things that you can do at a party. Okay. We have this. Any of these happening with you guys? Don't do it. Okay, let's see. Number nine, spill something. Done it.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Oh, I spilled it at your party last year. Ah, I sure I did. Hey, but I sent Zero Res to your house like the next day to clean it. You sure did. You're welcome? They did, Zito. And they didn't even charge me. I paid for it.
Starting point is 00:08:07 They didn't charge you because I paid for it. And it was a lot. Oh, why'd you pay for it? I can deal with them. I don't know. I kind of do two. I thought, but I got a bill. Oh.
Starting point is 00:08:16 You thought you had to deal with them. What did you spill wine? No, a whole plate of food. Oh, you're on your way out. And I took all the to-go stuff, like all the leftovers. And I was taking a bunch home to the kids and my husband. And it just went everywhere. Yeah, it's baboosh.
Starting point is 00:08:34 I heard that. I remember hearing that. I don't know you got a bill for that. It's fine, though. I spilled it, and I wanted to make sure it's clean. Interesting. Thank you very much for that. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:08:43 It's not a Christmas party. Okay, it's just a... Well, I don't know. If it's in late November, can that be... It's just going to be a holiday party. Sure. Christmas, Thanksgiving, kind of a mixture of all the holidays. holidays, that'll be it.
Starting point is 00:08:55 That's the party. But can you have a Christmas party, though, before December 1st? I guess this is my question. Yes. Can you have a Christmas party before? We have one no one. Yes, Eddie, if I have a party, can I call it a Christmas party if it's before December 1st?
Starting point is 00:09:07 I want to say no. I want to say no because it's just, we're not even in December yet. But if you're decorating your house already? Yeah. And my house will probably be decorated by then. And people are busy, you know? Like December gets crazy. We're all gone.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I feel like we have the party. and then we have a holiday party. I'm not paying for both of them. This is going to cost me a ton of money already. Really? It's going to be that big of a party? It's like last year. Yeah, we're going to have entertainers.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Food. To have 10 people and have food. Yeah. And have somebody come over and cook the food? Yeah. Okay, yeah, you're right. Yeah. Yeah, I'm just used to like...
Starting point is 00:09:39 You're like a kid who doesn't know how much as parents are spending. I'm used to like five pounds of fajitas and like, let's roll. Should we do like white elephant or something or something fun? Do we have an activity? Like, should we bond? I mean, because isn't our new producer going to be there? Yeah, let's just talk. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:53 All right. Hopefully we can play a... We can't play whatever. But here's the thing with games. I'm not mentioning any names, so I have my eyes closed. People always get mad when you play games. And you're trading... People always feel slighted or mad.
Starting point is 00:10:07 And I just... I'm not up for that in my life anymore. I have no room for negativity. Don't give a crap. So, Amy, we can do whatever we want. You just tell me, you can be in charge of the games. Eyes are now open. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:17 It's Mike D. Mike D is the one. I mean, I'll be... Yeah, I just think it could be fun or a way to just really interact. We talk. We talk all day long with each other. We don't always do games. I mean, we play like Telestrations.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Do something like that. I'll figure it out. We should gamble. That's fun. We used to have some crazy gambling nights. In between? He's not allowed to do what? If I have gamble in my house, I'll bring in some slot machines.
Starting point is 00:10:46 No. Oh, dude, that's amazing. No. Like a blackjack table, roulette table. Rulette table. Like, we won't see Bobby for like a month. He'll hosting underground gambling at his house. In your house.
Starting point is 00:10:57 He will. He's going to get rated. Yeah, yeah, yeah. By the feds. We can do, think of some ideas. I'll let you be in charge of that. I was thinking about having a, I would pay them, but like having an artist come over and play. Oh, yeah?
Starting point is 00:11:11 But I mean, do we want to sit around and watch music? I would love that. Dirk's or something? No, I'm not going to, no, I'm not going to doing that. You going to do that? Toby Keith. Can you imagine. It could be awesome.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Red So. I wouldn't ask anyone to do it out of friendship. I would pay them. What if we just invited them? Can we put him requests? And we do like a round. George Strait? No.
Starting point is 00:11:32 No. How cool would that be? He has Christmas songs. Yeah, but he's not going to show up and play at my house. Oh my gosh. Brett Eldra's do glow. No, you would pick. No.
Starting point is 00:11:42 He wants to play. Lie me to the moon. I don't. I wouldn't ask one of my friends to come for free to do it. So I would have to say, hey, I will pay you to come and play if we're going to do it. And I can't afford somebody like Brett Eldridge. But you couldn't be like, hey, man, we're having to get together.
Starting point is 00:11:55 You want to come home in. Oh, there's a guitar here. Oh, by there's a tuxedo hanging back there. The picture measurements exactly in the back. That's who Amy tried to get last year. Yeah, and I got in trouble. Yeah, because you don't. I'm not bringing it up.
Starting point is 00:12:04 No, it's not a thing. I don't even want to bring it up, lunchbox. And here's the thing about that. I was just trying to do something special. Like, I wasn't looking at it. And Brett is super nice. But, yeah, I wouldn't want to make it awkward or anything like that. Yeah, he would have done it.
Starting point is 00:12:17 want also it's not smart to put people in predicament where you feel like, okay, they did that to like we owe you or you owe and like it can get sensitive. I realize that. Do they feel pressure? Right. And I would think sometimes I forget that line because Brett is so nice and like we do see him sometimes out of the show and I know he's friends with Bobby. Like I just thought, oh, it would be fun to have him swing by sing one song.
Starting point is 00:12:38 But then, yeah, I get how that wasn't. I shouldn't have messed with that. I learned. Trust me. Not going back there. But how does it work like when you get on Instagram and you see Blake Shelton, hanging out with like three other artists
Starting point is 00:12:50 and they're just sitting around a fire playing guitar because they're friends and their peers and we can't be friends with them we can invite them there are probably like 10 people I could say hey come over to the house
Starting point is 00:13:01 hey why you just pick your guitar that's what I'm talking about Garth is one of them no I mean maybe but probably not I wouldn't I just want to I'd be amazing Tresha would come yeah no they would come
Starting point is 00:13:12 but then you couldn't be like play music you would just invite them and again hopefully they would see a guitar and then... Shcher might cook. And then think about the new guy. He comes and he's like, what Garth is like coming to the house?
Starting point is 00:13:23 He's just gonna... This is a perfect welcome for him. Anyway. Whatever. Or we can play Telestration. Or we can... Or we can put on a CD. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Or a vinyl. Show up with that RSVPing. That's one of the other things you should. They say you shouldn't do at a party. Yeah, definitely RCP. Talk politics too much. Don't do that. Don't do that.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Ugh. Maybe be guilty of that. Maybe a little bit. Maybe get a little bit. That one. Oh, yeah, but I'm saying you're... Do you stay up last night watching the gubernatorial elections all night? Oh, you didn't?
Starting point is 00:14:01 No. Did you vote? Yeah. I was watching the two races in Virginia, not gubernatorial. And then I was watching Kentucky governor and Mississippi governor. Oh, I was up to Kentucky basketball. I was up until late last night. I'm just dialed in.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Love it. Can't get enough of it. Um, be on your phone all night. At the party? Yeah. Okay. Make note. You guys do that.
Starting point is 00:14:22 No, Bobby. No, Amy. What? Now she can't hear. What? Show up early. Bobby. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Bobby's like, knock, knock, knock. I only did that Amy's like three times. We're like still cleaning trying to get stuff done. Bobby's here. I know, I know. I'm consistent with who I am. I know. Why can't you just let me be the happy?
Starting point is 00:14:46 version of me. What we should start doing is telling you, the party starts at 6, but tell you 6.30. It's the opposite of how I have to handle you guys sometimes. Yes. Get too drunk. Oh, that happens. Ramundo, what alcohol do you want at my party? Definitely the claws. I mean, it's just, it's the easiest thing for guys and girls to drink. Everybody likes it, and it's just simple to ask for.
Starting point is 00:15:06 It's not a complicated drink. You just say, claw me a claw. It's a weeknight. You say, claw me a claw? Yeah. And it's not a weekend? Like, we'll have to work the next day, most likely, right? Oh, then it won't be a rager.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Be the last one to leave. That's me. Oh, yeah, what's wrong with that? That is you a lot. That's me a lot of the time, yeah. Eddie just lingers. I just finish my drink and maybe get another one. He's in his underwear.
Starting point is 00:15:28 I can't make myself at home. Lay down. Ask for a food or drink type that isn't already out. That's something you shouldn't do. Then number one is show up sick. Oh. If you have a cold, don't even kind of my neighborhood. They don't get any of us sick.
Starting point is 00:15:42 A teacher buys a fake tuberculosis diagnosis online so we can take a longer vacation. That's funny. I mean, awful. TB is not to be messed with. Well, I know, but... He paid $67 for a fake chest scan and a doctor's diagnosis on the internet, both of which showing him was suffering from TB. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:15:57 He then presented the documents to employers hoping it would convince them to approve a lengthy or medical leave, only he never considered how serious his fake diagnosis was. It's so contagious the school was forced to pay for the medical checkups of all of the English teacher's students. Oh, well, that's not funny. That's just his.
Starting point is 00:16:12 To make sure they hadn't contracted the disease. as luck or bad luck would have, but two of the students tested positive for tuberculosis. So there's some good that came out of it. True. The test showed the teacher never suffered from TB because it leaves physical marks on the lungs forever. Which lunchboxes had it.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Amy had it. I had chest cans, though. My chest is clear. Yeah, I had to take a pill every day for nine months, every day for nine months, couldn't drink. That's why I had the night sweats. My skin test was inconclusive. And guys, just so you know,
Starting point is 00:16:45 the potato man, he gave us a shout out and said he was pulling up of potatoes on Instagram. Right now? Right now? He'll bring him up right now? I guess. Hey, can we call him again? Right, okay? Yeah, get him on.
Starting point is 00:16:58 My wife just sent me a text and said, hey, potato 615, gave you guys a shout out. And he said he was pulling up a potatoes, question mark. Yeah, call him up. I got some money. I'll buy potatoes right now. I will eat them today. Can he get his hands on a Popeye's chicken sandwich? Oh, true.
Starting point is 00:17:14 If he were to let that up What if it's like Popeyes and potatoes? Oh my God I'd be like the world's greatest concoction. Take my wallet. You got a Popeye's and a chicken sandwich? Still don't have one of those. So you're trying to get them on, Ramondo?
Starting point is 00:17:28 Mm-hmm. Okay. 911 supervisor's been fired after she didn't log a shooting because she was distracted watching Netflix. Oh. And all that comes down to is, well, what show was it? Did they even say what show it was in the story? It was a movie.
Starting point is 00:17:43 It was a movie? Yeah. The Netflix movies are okay, by the way. I don't know that I would. Yeah, they're okay. I agree. What's the best Netflix movie? Is it BirdBox?
Starting point is 00:17:51 I like Birdbox. Oh, I forgot about that one. I liked Bird Box. Yeah, that was really good. One of my friends the other night hit me up and said, hey, I'm thinking about watching a movie. I was like, cool. I recommended Best & Show to her because I love those Christopher Guess movies. And I was like, watch that.
Starting point is 00:18:06 And then she goes, well, what do you think about me watching Bird Box? I said, that's a great movie to watch, 2017. That's so a lot. That was such a big thing. I was 18. I don't know what it was. It was such a big, oh, he's on the phone. On the phone with us right now. You can put him on. Hey. Hey, what's up? How you doing? You good? All right. I'm pretty good. Did anybody hit you up yesterday after hearing you on our show?
Starting point is 00:18:30 About 3,000 people. And how'd you feel about that? Oh, man. Oh, man. Y'all don't even know, man. Look, I don't cry out. I don't laugh. I don't jump. I didn't did everything. man. On the phone right now is Chef Ralph, who also known as the Potato Man. So where are you right now because I would love some I want to buy some potatoes right now, Ralph?
Starting point is 00:18:53 I'm getting, you know what? Let me see what's going on. I'm actually making some fresh potatoes and about to be on my way to you right now. But, okay, here's the thing. And listen, I'm appreciative and I'm not talking about you because I want anything for free because we're going to pay for it. But also, like, we leave here
Starting point is 00:19:10 in like the next 20 or 30 minutes or so. So is there I'll be there. I'll be there. Okay. What kind of potatoes you're bringing?
Starting point is 00:19:18 I'm bringing a variety. You guys are getting it all. You're getting the Philly cheese steak. You're getting the chicken alfredo. You're getting the broccoli chicken and cheese. You're getting the honey gold. You're getting the Cajun chicken chicken. Yes.
Starting point is 00:19:30 You get it all. Hey, that honey gold is worth that guys. That's my favorite. That sounds so good to me. So Ralph, you really got hit up a lot yesterday, huh? Man, it was crazy. It was, it was like. Like, I mean, everybody was just hitting me with, I heard them, I heard me talking about it on the Bobbybone show, and I wish you would come to Cali and I wish you would come to Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Like, it's like crazy right now. The thing about Ralph is I think he really wants to try to go. Like tomorrow he'll be in California and tomorrow and the next day he'll be in Oklahoma. Yeah. And you know what I've been telling everybody, hey man, set an event up. I will be on my way. Yeah, right. Set an event up.
Starting point is 00:20:11 That's interesting too. I wonder if we should have Ralph do my Christmas party with potatoes. I was thinking. It would be good. That would be good. Okay, so I'll let you get back to work and we'll see him.
Starting point is 00:20:23 I'm on the way to you. So, on Instagram, it sounds like he's running out the door. It's Potato Man. No, Potato Mountain. Underscore. 6.15. Okay. I saw you got a bunch of Instagram followers, too,
Starting point is 00:20:36 like thousands of yesterday. Man, like 2,200 since yesterday. late, man. Look at this. Potato Mountain underscore 615. Okay, we'll see you in just a little bit. All right, man. All right, see you later. Hey, Ray, um, text him, give him a number to call, so when he gets here, he'd have to just wait outside. Or, you know, just give him somebody's number.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Mm-hmm. I'm excited about that. Honey gold. What's it called? We're getting them all. We're getting them all. This is great. The chicken alfredo, the chicken and broccoli. The Philly cheese steak. Potato Mountain underscore 615. Oh, here he is. All my new followers and existing followers, I want you to tag a bobby-bone show,
Starting point is 00:21:09 Ramundo, Webgirl Morgan. Cizan Raymondo. I'm pulling up with potato mountains. The whole show, GTA, quit playing. Thanks again so much. I'm grateful and motivated.
Starting point is 00:21:18 There you go. Huh. Nice of them. Love to help that guy out. I don't know him, but I do light potatoes. He's awesome. I do lot of potatoes.
Starting point is 00:21:29 All right. I think that's it. I have a story about hackers can control Alexa using lasers. It feels like I'm about to do another life lock spot.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I'm not. It's just really a thing. Because I do use life lock and it is one of my endorsements. because I've used them and had them, but it's always like, you always tell a crazy story, and you're like, hey, listen, they're controlling everything.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Smart speakers, Alexa's, TVs, they're looking at cameras. And it's like, LifeLuck.com, pass with keyword bones to get, you know, whatever, but it's really just a thing because it's a story without that. Criminals can easily hack into smart homes by shining a laser through your window and onto your Google Home or Amazon Echo device or Alexa.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Siri, Alexa, Google, are vulnerable to attacks that use lasers to inject inaudible, invisible commands. It's all things nuts. You still use those? What? Alexa? Yeah. Use them. Yeah. My life lives with her. Really? Yeah. You have to call her every day. Like, hey, will you do this for me? What does she do except? Play music? Play music, turn the lights on. Yeah? Set my alarm. Um, catch me up on the news of the day. Really? I use her four or five, six times, yeah. You too, Amy? Yeah, and my kids. They use her for timers, like, for their homework or, like, sometimes I'll even tell Sashira like, hey, well, you need to go do that and you've got five minutes to get it done.
Starting point is 00:22:45 She goes, I already set the Alexa timer. Like, she's already ahead of it. And she, Alexa, she's like, Alexa already told me. I'm like, thank you, Alexa. Thank you. Yeah, I mean, it's Siri all the time, too. Count my calendar. A lot.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Probably too much. Too much, but whatever. That's the deal. I think that's it. I was going to do some velvet edge clips with Kelly Henderson, but I heard they were pulling some of it because of the stuff that, not bad stuff, but she had Jason, she still does. And is it up at all right now?
Starting point is 00:23:16 She put up a podcast called Velvet's Edge, and Jason Aldine and Brittany were on there. But then again, I guess they didn't like what they talked about, right? Interesting. I guess if you already downloaded the episode, you already have it. That's why you should subscribe to things like the Bobbycast. Get it right away. Because if we pull it back, you don't pull it back, you just have it.
Starting point is 00:23:35 I didn't realize that. Yeah. That's a good point. So, all right, there you go. Thank you, guys. Here is Wednesday's show. Enjoy. Starting point is 00:27:26 This is the Bobby Bones. Hey, welcome to Wednesday's show. Appreciate you guys. Morning. We're back. We're here. Let's see what's happening with everybody. do our segment. What's the Haps? Hey! What's the Hats? Amy, what's happening with you? So a lot of times
Starting point is 00:27:44 my dad living here now and he doesn't have a car and he sends me like lists of things I can pick up from at Walgreens or Target and stuff he needs. A lot of times it's prescriptions, medical things. And then he's like, hey, can you grab me some axe body spray? That has never been on the list. Does the senior center have a store? No. Wow. No store. Okay, so they don't have Axe body spray. They don't have, no, all of your stuff comes, just like if you were to live at home, like it's your apartment, you got to figure it out for yourself. So I get a lot of his stuff for him. And I was like, interesting.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Now that he's lived there like a month, meeting the ladies, hanging out. I guess he wants to start smiling good. I don't know. Did you ask him why he wanted it? I mean, no, because it's awkward. But I assume it's because he's like going on dates in there. We don't call it a facility. in his apartment.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Maybe he meets them downstairs for some TV. You know what? Good for him. Wanted to smell good? I know. He's always been kind of a player, huh? He's just always, I cannot describe it. I don't understand because it's like my dad.
Starting point is 00:28:54 But like he has never had a problem getting girls to like him. Or people to like him. He's a people person. He's just really good, good conversation. And for whatever reason, women, too. Real good. So, yeah. Real good.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Yeah. He has a couple of girlfriends or at least that he hangs out with a little bit. Well, I don't know. I wouldn't call him girlfriends. But, you know, we joke because he likes to say he's one of the youngest ones there. The other men, it's not a lot of competition because they're like 90. And he's 78. Oh, he's a young one there.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Right? Hey, hey, what's the hat? What's up with you? Well, I'm debating if I should be Mask guy on airplanes. Oh, yeah. My dad is. Yeah, but your dad's almost 80. But he's sick, so we have to watch that.
Starting point is 00:29:46 We're flying with him in a couple weeks, and I just bought masks. I have extra. Well, I have some, too. Okay. It's just weird, because then everybody runs from you. I'm not trying to everybody run from me. I would just like to not. And airplanes are just a tube of germs.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Yeah, it's so true. And I don't want people to think I'm sick, and it's not to keep people from sitting away from me. It's just I don't want to breathe in all. all of those germy toxins, but you kind of commit when you become mask guy. Do I write a message on it? Like, not sick? On the mask?
Starting point is 00:30:20 Yeah, on your face. Say it's not me, it's you. Oh, wow. People would love that. Because you're not wearing it because you're sick. You don't want to get whatever anybody else has. What do you think about me being mask guy? I mean, I wish it was more common than I,
Starting point is 00:30:35 because I would be masked girl with you. should do it. Just try it out. But you've always wanted to meet your future woman, girlfriend, wife, whatever, on an airplane. Oh, you don't think that's one? No, that's right single on it. Oh. I just turned it into a whole dating thing. I just feel like you're limiting your options when you become mask guy, but you've got to stay healthy. I just write HMU on it. Hmm? Hit me up. Oh, no. Nobody knew what that meant except for Morgan number two who started laughing. All right, HMU, LMK, and then I put my screen name. Let me know.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Let me know. Thank you very much. I know that one. Mask guy, yes or no, Amy? Yeah. Lunchbox? No, it's embarrassing. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:31:16 No, don't do that, man. Oh, wow. What's wrong with you? You're going to get a lot of nose. You don't want him to be healthy? Wow, wow. Okay. I think I may try it.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Your face gets hot too, though. You know, that mask the whole time. Oh. I think I may do it, though. I get ahead back out tonight and head to Portland. But I think I'm going. You're on to something with the messages, though. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Keep them going. Different messages every time. Okay. Hey. Hey. What's the hatch? Lunchbox. Amy brought us a story about no spend November. So I am trying to participate in no spend November,
Starting point is 00:31:47 cutting things out of my life. The lottery has been given up for the month of November. Wow. Because, hey, you said you're not supposed to spend money in November. So that's one of the things I spend money on. So no lottery tickets and some other things, just trying to cut it out and see if I save a lot of money like Amy says. Longer than lent.
Starting point is 00:32:04 The whole month. November? Lynn's 40 days. Yeah, I don't know how many days are in a November. We have to give up for 40 days, 40 nights. A math did not do so hot there. So that's what's going on with me though, yeah. The idiot team takes one there.
Starting point is 00:32:19 That would mean. All right. Hey, what's the hatch? Eddie, what's happening? Speaking of idiots, I'm an idiot. I'm a do-it-yourself kind of guy, and I was trying to replace my front screen door. It's a glass door. And I went to the store, bought a new one.
Starting point is 00:32:34 I installed it. It took me a whole day to install it. Once I was done, I put it on backwards. You guys, it took me a whole day. Now that whatever I'm looking at from the inside, that should be on the outside. But you know what? It's too late. I'm not going to change it.
Starting point is 00:32:48 It was a whole day of work. So hopefully nobody notices, but. What was so hard about it? I have to drill holes in the wall. Every hinge, you got to drill holes. You got to balance it. Make sure it fits. Oh, they're balancing.
Starting point is 00:32:59 And it's got to click right. The whole thing, it took a long time. And I messed it up. For whatever reason, I just don't picture Eddie as a do-it-yourself kind of guy. Oh, guys, I look so cool. I put a pencil on my ear and my kids think I'm legit. They're like, why do you have a pencil in here? You're never a do-it-your-your-kind of person until you do it a few times and you learn how to do it.
Starting point is 00:33:17 You're never anything until you get going and do it wrong a few times. That's how learned around the house. And you can just YouTube anything. Oh, that's true. It's so true. The Pilgrims, they couldn't do that. They could not. We can.
Starting point is 00:33:28 All right, that's what's the haves. Hey. Hey, what's the hat? Let's get started the Wednesday show. By the way, let me remind everybody on Friday is the big CMA challenge in the studio, Morgan No. 1 versus Eddie for her CMA award. The CMA Olympics on Friday morning show. If Eddie wins, he keeps his trophy.
Starting point is 00:33:46 If he loses, he has to give it to Morgan number 1. Yes. I get to keep my own trophy. That's right. Yeah, but you promised it to her when we won the award. Yes. Friday show. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Yesterday I facetimed in with some teachers who were teaching in Sacramento during the class. And so I was kind of on with them, just kind of talking to the class. And they were asking me questions about the show. They said, tell you hi. Hi. And they said, hey, who are you taking to the CMA awards, which I don't have an answer yet? I think they were won some behind the scenes, you know, gossip. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:34:18 And I would have told them. I told them some other gossip, but I didn't tell them. And they were like, are you taking a date? I said, well, who do you think I should take? And this is their words. And if I needed to get them on the phone, I could, although it's really early there. They said, well, they love you, Amy. they said well here's the thing with amy she already now has elevated and gets to do a bunch of cool things already
Starting point is 00:34:38 they're like we love her but you don't need to take her she gets to do all kinds of stuff and they're like has she been with you before i said yeah she's yeah you pass on amy and then they said well you don't want to take a dude they said that yeah so i was like all right they said you should take morgan number two that was their that that's their wish i don't know if that's going to happen but i do love the teachers of america yeah Amy was lecturing me out and we won't say anything specific but she's like you should take your ex-girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:35:08 I won't say which one. It's not exactly how I said it at all. Can you imagine? Okay. What? Without anybody knowing any context around that that sounds really random and weird but it's actually not
Starting point is 00:35:21 and it's not happening but it's just obviously like people don't know we're not saying anything. Never mind. Why'd you even bring that up? That's what I do here on this show. I know. We just bring it up.
Starting point is 00:35:33 up. Morgan number two won the draft yesterday with her vegetables of potatoes, carrots, and lettuce. Yeah. And she's one one away from the championship. Amy finished last. You will not play next. Best business, best advertising slogans is tomorrow. Love it. Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. And the first pick will be Raymundo. Yeah! What are you thinking you're going to go with right now? You don't have to commit to it, but if you
Starting point is 00:35:57 had to go right now. I might go political. What? What? Make America Great again? Wow. I didn't even. even think about that. Do it. It's just been such a big slogan. It has been a huge...
Starting point is 00:36:09 Yeah, I mean, it doesn't mean that you... Wow, Raymond, I'm going to tell you. That didn't even pop in my head. I know. I was like, give me a break. I was like, I'm loving it. Right. I was like, riding all those down.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Run for the border. Wow. See, sometimes you guys amaze me. I didn't even think about that one. Look at you. Okay, well, tomorrow... Oh, I'm not... Mike D just wrote a note.
Starting point is 00:36:33 up on the wall because I have these screens in front of me and so if I'm talking about something and mostly if it's I miss a point he'll be like hey you messed up and he wrote potential Bobby CMA dates as the next draft. Oh nice.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Oh. That's funny, Mike. We're not going to do that one but that's pretty funny. The Bobby Bone Show. Big Three Stories. Ramundo's got the news here on Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:36:54 What you got, Remundo? Popeye says that be patient they've ordered more supplies of chicken sandwiches. Some locations are temporarily out. In other news, they can continue. to battle wildfires in California, just go to red cross.org to help out.
Starting point is 00:37:07 And finally, Bank of America is hiking the minimum wage to $20 an hour. Shit. Bobby Blum, too. Did you see the picture of the woman who had her eyeballs tattooed? No. And I guess it's a thing, but then they're all surprised when they go blind afterward. Like, do you mess with your eyes? Right. Why would you even risk that?
Starting point is 00:37:27 Amy, I tell you, people, by the way, it looks cool. Does it? Yeah. What color is it? Blue on the outside. like gold in the middle. It does look cool. I would never do it because it's your eyes. Yeah. You only get all inside of eyes. You need those. So she's 24 years old. She spent over $37,000 in body modifications. Oh, wow. She tattooed her eyeballs blue. Do you want to see a picture? Because
Starting point is 00:37:47 again, don't do it, but it looks pretty cool. But don't do it. Her name's Amber Luke. She underwent an excruciating and dangerous 40-minute procedure to transform her eyes. So all the white part of your eye is now dyed blue. It's a very pretty blue. Really? Yeah, but she's got a lot happening on her face. Tattoos all over her face. She's kind of hot.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Yeah. She's very pretty. She calls herself the blue-eyed white dragon. Oh, wow. She first developed her bizarre fascination with extreme modifications at age 16 and said the eyeball job was the most dangerous procedure
Starting point is 00:38:22 she has done to date. Which, by the way, if you get your eye, don't you get one of them done first and see how that works out before you do your second one. Because if that one doesn't work out and it goes blind, at least you still got the other one.
Starting point is 00:38:31 True. You kind of don't go wrong. rolling in there with two eyes going, all right, let's do what happens. Anyway, she went blind for three weeks. Her vision is starting to come back. Oh, okay, good. But I don't know that I'd be messing with the eyeball. No way.
Starting point is 00:38:45 She said that was pretty brutal. She hopes to fully cover a body with tattoos by March 2020. Any more tattoos for you? I do want to get a third. I still, I just haven't done it. And still, I don't have, like, where I want it and how I want it. Low Cash said they were going to be drawing me a tattoo. and I did see them at a work event like two weeks ago
Starting point is 00:39:04 and they showed me some sketches. They've already done or they did right at their on the fly. On a napkin. That he had already done. What are they drawing? Eagles? Saved in his phone. I got a few. I've been waiting to get another one too.
Starting point is 00:39:17 I know what I wanted to say I'll fly away, but I just don't know where. This girl got her tongue split. The same girl. What do you think about that? Another body modification? Nope. I don't want to do that either.
Starting point is 00:39:29 I don't want to mess with that. Like what was happening with your parents with a young age and make you want to do all of this? We all come from weird, odd, different circumstances. I just wonder what happened with her to make her want to do all of this. Something there, there's something in there. Just want to give her a big hug and say, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:39:45 You don't have to keep doing this. You don't have to keep doing this. You're loved. You're loved. How do they keep her eyeball open even do that the whole time? Because you would blink. I mean, you have to sedate them maybe. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:57 I didn't say she was going under. Anyway, I thought we'll put it up. If you want to see it on her Facebook. page at bobby bones.com go to our Facebook page. It's a Bobby Bones show. Time to play another round of the 60 second showdown on the phone with us is Michelle in West Virginia.

Starting point is 00:42:20 that I paid for billboards. It said, Go away, Bobby Bones. Right. What segment do we do a 55 after every morning? Tell me something good. My favorite baseball team? Cubs.

Starting point is 00:42:53 Come on, Amy. Amy would have missed one in the category of the Bobby Bone Show. Hold on. Well, was Raging Kittites first? No. It was called The Critics Give It Five Stars. Oh, yeah, that's right. That was such a good title.
Starting point is 00:43:07 There you go. Thank you. I just thought people would see it and be like, oh, the critics must love it. Five stars. You didn't win, Michelle. You know, I like you, but you didn't do that good. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:43:18 It was awesome to call in. I agree. I thought I would actually get in. I love that attitude. I love that attitude. I love that attitude. I can just see the tweets though now. I would have nailed that category.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Like 55 after every hour. Tell me something good. Now do you think back and go, man, I should have got that one at least? Yes. Yeah. All right. Well, there you have it. Hey, thank you very much.

The songs that I've written, they're stories of my life. Every triumph, every struggle, every smile, every sorrow.
Starting point is 00:47:58 It's the melody of my memories. It's the sound of my heartstrings. Luke Combs shared in a recent interview that he actually wanted to be a homicide, detective. He says it interested him because it's a puzzle that has no pieces, so you have to make the pieces and put it all together. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. So a nurse adopted a man with autism so he can have a heart transplant. Her name is Lori Wood, and they say she gave the ultimate display of compassion by adopting a patient so he could have life-saving surgery two days after they met. Jonathan Pinkard,
Starting point is 00:48:39 who's 27 has autism, was in the ICU at Piedmont Noon Hospital with a terminal heart condition. He needed a transplant to save his life. But his mom was in rehab, so he had no support system. And without being able to be taken care of, you can't be put on the list. Oh, okay. They can't put you through surgery if there's no one on the other side to take care of you. Wow. So he needed someone to sign off.
Starting point is 00:49:01 And so for four months, he was in and out of the hospital. Then he met this nurse. And she was like, hey, can I adopt him and be his guardian? and he said yes, they said yes, and now she's also been teaching him different life skills kind of on the other side of it as well. Oh, wow. Like completely change this guy's life.
Starting point is 00:49:20 So that's what it's it. And people are also, you know, we talk about GoFundMe's, are donating to help him pay the bills for his heart transplant too. Oh, wow. It's like a multiple tell me something good. This Lori Wood, this nurse, that is crazy.
Starting point is 00:49:34 That's, I mean... She's like a real life angel. Yes. Not a lot of people can do that She could only go through walls She'd be a full angel Maybe she could Yeah anyway that's what it's all about right there
Starting point is 00:49:45 That was tell me something good Lobby Bones show Boney up the day This story comes to us from Wilson North Carolina Police were in a high speed chase with a suspect When this guy that is a fake cop Saw it was like hey I'm gonna jump in that chase Start chasing him
Starting point is 00:50:03 Pins in the suspect What he actually does the job of the cop Pins in the suspect, gets out with his gun, and he handcuffs the driver, and then he drives off. And cops are like, what in the world? A couple days later, they track him down. He's not a sworn officer of the law. But he had a gun, had a gun and some handcuffs. And lights.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Oh, the lights? And the skills and the tactics to pin in someone on the run. And he got him out and searched him. Like he did the pat down everything, got him in handcuffs, and then he just drove away. So what happens with him when they catch the? the guy. Well, the suspect was arrested, and then this guy was arrested for impersonating an officer. But a little bit
Starting point is 00:50:42 of the elbowing, I'm going, hey, thanks, man. Appreciate that. We'll take it easy on you. They should recruit him. He seems pretty good at it. Spider-Man does. He just shows up and does stuff and he leaves. All right, there you go. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and my Mr. Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:51:07 My dog has surgery today. Oh, big days. Like three surgeries, right? During the show. Yeah, in like an hour he goes into surgery. Wow. So he's getting his eye fixed because he had an eyelid that kind of grew up. It's called cherry eye. And they would have fixed it already, but one they wanted the other eye to grow up because apparently both eyes happened at the same time with Bulldogs, but it didn't.
Starting point is 00:51:27 So they're going to fix that. They're going to neuter him. They're going to do his, he's got a breathing issue. Here's the thing with my dog, too. He started choking last night and he couldn't breathe. He was choking on his own throw up. What? He has so many health problems.
Starting point is 00:51:42 And then he has a wiener thing. So it's like three and a half surrogens. surgery is happening today. Bad day for him. So he's going to come out. He goes in, talk to do not, he's going to come out.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Every part of is going to be conned. His head. Yeah. Below his waist. Oh, no. That's funny. Yeah. Pretty heavy day for the dog today.
Starting point is 00:51:59 But he needs to get him all done at once. And I don't want to put him under any more than one time, which is why we waited on everything. Right. The vet's like, you want to get his eye fixed, wait until he get him neutered.
Starting point is 00:52:07 You want to get his nose. His breathing fixed. Bulldogs are a lot of work. Yeah, I know. And I didn't believe anybody. Because they're just so cute. Cute. They were just like, oh, bulldogs are a lot.
Starting point is 00:52:17 And then I'm like, yeah, everything's a lot. Boy, I got involved with this one today. We'll see how it goes. But yeah, he's going to be going to have, and I feel bad for me they have to wear the cone. I like the cone. It looks funny. No, it just keeps my dog like chill. Yesterday, Amy and I were talking about dogs.
Starting point is 00:52:38 And Amy was like, you know, with my dog, I'd give it back. I'd be fine. Oh, wow. Not give it back, but if we had to give her. find a loving home for her, which we provided a loving home for her. We rescued her. But if we needed to because of schedules and just time and commitment to a dog, like it would be okay.
Starting point is 00:52:55 I think our house would keep running smoothly. We're just not there yet. The question was, was her dog a member of the family yet? And she said, well, I've got new family that we're making a member of the family. So the dog, it's been tough. Yeah, it's been really tough. Because some days we love her and then some days she's just a lot to where I'm like, calm down.
Starting point is 00:53:12 Like I don't understand you. because like we've trained her she's crazy but then other times she's really cuddly and lovable and she's almost human-like where my dog is the only other person of my family
Starting point is 00:53:25 right so as much of a pain of the butt as he is he's also eight months old and just super puppy your dog's how old? I think she's two so she's still puppyish and I don't know when that I mean she's a laberdoodle
Starting point is 00:53:38 so I think she's gonna have a lot of energy for a long time well my dog go into surgery today I'll let you guys know tomorrow the next day. I can tell how that's going to go tomorrow. Tomorrow's going to be like, well, he came out, he's sore, he just laying around.
Starting point is 00:53:48 But next week I'll have a better idea what's going on with them. And boy, ain't cheap. No. I think you got like the most expensive medical bill on the planet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If I was getting attacked by a crocodile and you saw it, would you jump in and try to beat up the crocodile
Starting point is 00:54:05 or just run away and try to get help? I feel like I would have to try to beat up the crocodile because if I leave you, you're going to get eaten. This girl, Rebecca, who's an 11-year-old girl, is being hailed as a hero for saving her 9-year-old friend from the jaws of a crocodile by running, jumping on it, and then gouging the crocodile's eyes out. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Would you do that, you think? You don't know until it happens, but would you think you'd go in at the crocodile off of me? I really feel like I would. If I ran, I couldn't leave you knowing that if I came back, you'd be gone. I feel the same way about you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:54:43 Hope so. But that's a risk. But shouldn't you, I can punch it? Then the crocodile would get both of you. But do you, don't I punch it between the eyeballs or is that a shark? That's a shark. I think that's on Looney Tunes. Or I'll get its tail.
Starting point is 00:54:56 You drop an anvil on its head. And I saw that story. 11 year old saved a 9 year old by jumping on the crocodile's head and taking her fingers and shoving into the crocodile's eyeballs. So now we know what to do. Yeah, that crocodile's got to be like, what's happening here? I'm trying to give me a snack. Yeah, there you go.
Starting point is 00:55:13 You have any decorations up for Christmas yet? Not yet, but I'm about to. What you mean? Well, it's on my list to get done. Like, I feel like I need to get done in the next week. How do you feel about decorating for Christmas early? It's fine. Whatever makes you happy and Christmas makes me happy.
Starting point is 00:55:29 Decorating your home for Christmas months before the holiday can make you a happier person. Ah, see? Decking the halls early is a spirit booster because it tends to trigger pleasant childhood memories and makes folks feel more social. Love that. going to do at your house? We're putting up a tree, lights. We're doing all kinds of things. We're going more out this year than we've ever gone because I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house with my family and my husband's family. So I feel like I need, it needs to look good for Christmas. You don't want to pilgrim it up? You're just going to go ahead and jump to Christmas? No, I'm straight to
Starting point is 00:56:03 Christmas. No, I don't have time to do two different themes. We're going straight Christmas. I'm going to use your person to get my house decorated. Oh, yay. I've never had my house decorated for Christmas, but I feel like I can't be the guy in the neighborhood that doesn't Christmas up his house. Mm-hmm. A bit of Christmas time peer pressure, but that's okay. I should be peer pressure into this. You're in a neighborhood where you probably should.
Starting point is 00:56:26 Or you're definitely the Grinch. I don't want to be the Grinch. You can't be. And I'll probably be home for Christmas this year. Okay. Just because my dog. So are we, and we're normally never here Christmas Day. We're always in Colorado.
Starting point is 00:56:38 We're just going after. So what are you coming over? Well, TBD. Amy, it's only November 6th. TBD, you just said you're going to be here and you don't have it. I know you don't have any plans. Yes. You can bring a date?
Starting point is 00:56:52 Can you imagine I show up to Amy's? I don't even have a date. I'm trying to find a date for next Wednesday's CMAs and Amy's like, bring a date to Christmas. What about Thanksgiving? Do you have plans? I have no plans yet except I have two days of American Idol and I'm going to get through this. I have a Luke Combs. I have to go to New York for that for his album release.
Starting point is 00:57:09 Then I have... Oh, you know what I'm doing that's kind of sneaky? What? So since I'm hosting Thanksgiving, and I'm the youngest child. Like, I don't host. My sister, she's the older sister. She hosts. And my dad, when he could cook a lot, he would, like my family, I'm not the host, but I'm hosting.
Starting point is 00:57:24 And, you know, Drake White's wife, she has, like, a catering thing. Yeah. And she posted on Instagram that she has all these, like, everything but the turkey, like items, like side dishes, you can just order. So I DM her on Instagram and I'll place an order. And then you just pick it up and it looks all awesome and done. I mean, I'm the hostess with the moses. It's going to look like I did all this stuff. My family would be so impressed.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Because it's normally not me to have it all done. But I'm going to be like, oh, put powder on my face or flour. Like you worked all night. Put an apron on and flour everywhere. Make a mess in the kitchen. I'd be like, welcome, welcome to my help. You're going to do the extra work to make a mess in the kitchen because you didn't do the work to do the food. But it's going to taste so good because a lot of times I try to alter and make it like super healthy.
Starting point is 00:58:09 And then last time I think I had people over. like three bites got taken. Yeah, that was kind of a disaster. Because it was all, everything's made of beans. Oh, right. Yeah, like alternative. Like vegetables or blended in.
Starting point is 00:58:22 If you didn't tell anybody, they wouldn't care. No. If you just were like, it's this normal food have at it, everybody would be like, oh, great. One of my nephews was like, what is this? And I was like, oh.
Starting point is 00:58:32 So, I mean, that's my plan. Yeah. I'm having a dinner at my house for everybody when as soon as our new producer gets her next week. And so we're going to have a big dinner. But I've had to order a bunch of stuff like that, because I'm not going to cook it. So I just set up food and do that.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Okay. Have you been told about that yet? No. Maybe I haven't. I've only heard what you've said about it, but I haven't been given anything official. Well, that'll be happening too. Maybe it had Drake White's wife, boat.
Starting point is 00:58:56 I know, but I was like, I already headed to milk. I think it's like milk and honey or something. They talk about how all the genes that were born with, they could actually dictate the quality of our marriage. So genetically you're all, well, mostly predisposed to these horn. hormones that could make your marriage happier or not. Oh. How do you feel about that?
Starting point is 00:59:16 I think just in life you're sort of predisposed sometimes to be... Everything. Being happier or not in any relationship. Even your body size, it's genetic mostly. Like you can influence it a little bit, but yeah, we're so just based on our genetics. But they say the different gene makeup can alter the way you feel. If you have love deficits, it could 100% be your genes to blame it while you're unable to feel love or give love.
Starting point is 00:59:40 you have a love deficit, don't you think? I mean, seriously, I'm not. I don't think I have a deficit. I think it's shown in different ways. Okay, yeah. That's why if you have trouble with love, it's important to work on it with therapy and outside assistance.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Look at you, rock star. I'm definitely in that. I've cannibaled back into therapy pretty hard. The authors say these results show that genes can truly impact the way people feel and behave in relationships. But just in anything, like if you can kind of figure out
Starting point is 01:00:08 why your body's doing certain things, you can lead it to be in positive places. Not just with love, but if you know yourself, you kind of know when you're not in your most prime place to and how to get there. Like you know, I give an example, whenever you're at your time of the month.
Starting point is 01:00:24 When you know it's your time of the month coming, you actually handle it, you go, oh, this is happening. The way I'm feeling, I'm going to go and tell myself ahead of time and talk myself through it. Right. Sometimes even with medication.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Right. Exactly. I know that sometimes I need to go just be alone and breathe. through it, and then I can come out better. But I have to be aware. Just use that as an excuse me in a fight. Bear it's my jeans.
Starting point is 01:00:47 Genetics. Sorry. I've been predisposed to this fight, so. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So you can get $3,300 for getting the flu on purpose. But you'd have to participate in a study.
Starting point is 01:04:36 And it's going down in Baltimore, St. Louis. Durham. They're taking about 80 volunteers and yeah, you get infected with the flu and you'll get $3,000. They just want to monitor your symptoms. I do that. You get a little nasal spray. But it's $3,000. You'll get over the flu and they're taking care of you. Right. So they give you this little nasal spray. You stick it up your nose. Is it the flu in the nasal spray? You infect yourself that way and then you sit back and see what happens. Well, I'm going to tell you what happens. A lot of stuff starts coming out of a lot of holes. And you feel terrible. but then you get better and you have $3,000.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Oh, do you feel like you're going to die sometimes? Yeah, I know. Ooh, interesting. Would you do it, Amy? Yes. Yeah, me too. I didn't even think twice about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Eddie? I've had the flu one time and it was really, really bad. So you mean, this is flu flu, flu. Flu, and it was terrible. I mean, it lasted two days. I felt like I was going to die. Bobby, especially if you have an event coming up, you're just one virus away from your goal age.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Yeah. I thought you were going to say that's why I shouldn't do it. But yes, you're saying I should do it and lose a bunch of weight. Red carpet, hello. That isn't really one of the cool things about getting sick. You lose away. All that bloatedness, you're out. Lunchbox, $3,000 for flu?
Starting point is 01:05:51 Absolutely. Wow. I mean, I can take a little pain for three days. Yeah, and then the flu goes away and they take care of you. That's the big part. They take care of you. Yeah, I would do that. How do you sign up?
Starting point is 01:06:01 I mean, it's just like you go volunteer. Didn't you do one of those studies once? Yeah, for my wisdom teeth. I got paid to have them out because I didn't have dental insurance. So I was young. I was right out of college my first job and I needed to get my wisdom teeth out. And so I signed up for a study. Did you get the medicine or the placebo?
Starting point is 01:06:18 I got the medicine. Good for you. At least I think unless the placebo just worked really well on me. But yeah, we all had surgery at the same time. And then there was a bunch of people when we were all in recliners in the same room and they were medicating us. See? Fun. What else you got?
Starting point is 01:06:33 So 61% of people say that they have zero plans to show. shop in person on Black Friday, which Black Friday used to be so huge, but now tons of people are going to be staying home because stores are too busy, online shopping is easier, and the cheaper prices are not worth the hassle. I don't go shopping anywhere anymore unless it's for clothes. You have to see if they fit. And even then I get most of them sent to me just click, click, click. I wouldn't gas, people being nuts.
Starting point is 01:07:02 I wouldn't go anywhere. You know there's companies that will come fill your car up with gas. Like Uber, it's an app. What? I saw some celebrities using it. I'm not like it's for us, but there is an app and they, you need gas. You put it in there and they come and fill your car up. It's like Uber for gas.
Starting point is 01:07:15 How much of the shopping will you do online for Christmas? Go. A lot of, 90%. Me too, 99.9. Maybe I have to go to the gas station real quick. Grab somebody's something. If I didn't remember. Other than that, yeah, I'm pretty clear.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Okay. And then lastly, since we're talking about Christmas and shopping and presents, heads up, if you wrap your presents poorly, then you give people like this idea in their head that the gift isn't that great, and then they open it up and it actually is, and they like it more. So do a bad job wrapping your presence because people will like the gift inside more. I'm a bad rapper. Yeah, and people set themselves up for disappointment on what's inside, and then it's actually a good gift,
Starting point is 01:07:50 and they like it even more. That's like when I date girls, they see me on the outside, and they're like skinny, nerdy. But then when they see my heart, they love the gift. They're like, wow, this is the greatest relationship ever. How's that going, by the way? You still single? Terrible, still single. Okay, I'm Amy. That's my pile.
Starting point is 01:08:08 That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Darlene Quinn is 60 years old. She works at FedEx. About three months ago, her car broke down. And she lives six miles from work.
Starting point is 01:08:25 And she's like, still got to go to work. She'd walk six miles to work and walk six miles back. Didn't tell anybody. Then she's walking home one day. And one of her coworkers sees her and says, hey, you want a ride? on the way home, starts talking. She's like, yeah, my car broke down three months ago. So the coworker goes back to his employee and says,
Starting point is 01:08:42 hey, we need to start a GoFundMe page. Within a week, all the employees at FedEx donated enough money, got her a new car. Wow. That's awesome. I bet she's like, man, how'd that happen? Yeah. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:08:54 That's what's all about. That was tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. Right. Over to Amy with the.
Starting point is 01:09:11 Morning Corny. Here we go. The Morning Corny. What did the turkey say to the computer? What did the turkey say to the computer? Google, Google, Google. So dumb. All right. You win. There it is. That was the morning corny. Driving down the road, I see a woman eating soup.
Starting point is 01:09:39 And I was like, is that for real? And it was. We stopped. that she was eating soup. Can't eat soup and drive. That's hard. Do I need to put that into legislation somewhere? Now she can't text and drive. You know? No soup.
Starting point is 01:09:50 No. And I would spill that everywhere, too. Richard in Texas, you're on the Bobby Bone show. Richard, what's going on, dude? Hey, how's it going? Pretty good, man. What did you see? All right.
Starting point is 01:10:03 So, I didn't actually get to actively see it. So I worked for fire service, and we responded to an 18-wheeler that crashed because the guy was actually trying to wash his hair while he was driving his 18 wheeler. Wow. Wow. Double. But how? But how? But how? Yeah. Yeah. On top of it all
Starting point is 01:10:24 as an 18 wheeler. Amy S. How? Yeah. Oh. So now the best I can tell is he was either using a shower cap of some kind or something to like contain it. I'm not 100% sure. When we got there, his hair was actually
Starting point is 01:10:40 still wet and actually he was still kind of sudsy. And he went off the road. Oh. Yeah. Was anybody hurt? No, no. Then it's hilarious. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:52 Wow, if not, that sucks. You're driving a big old truck. It could really hurt someone and you're washing your hair. Yeah. You're trying to get to prom? Where are you driving the 18 wheel or two? The formal? Sometimes you have to get a load to a destination on time and you need to wash your hair.
Starting point is 01:11:07 A load. Richard, I appreciate that, man. Thank you for the call. I'm in. See you later. Let me go to Lois in Ohio. We're talking about driving on the road. You look over in somebody's car and they're doing something.
Starting point is 01:11:18 They probably shouldn't be doing on their car. What did you see? When blow drying their hair, they must have an adapter in their car. I'm like, what in the world is that lady doing? That's actually awesome. Do they have electric blow dryers maybe that you don't have to plug in? Maybe they do, but some cars have outlets. So, I mean, I have as a passenger and my husband,
Starting point is 01:11:40 car, I have taken my hair straightener before. When he's rushing me, I'm like, fine, I'll just do my hair in the car. And I plug it right in. Yeah. He has like an F-150 with a plug. Lois, did you look at him? I'm like, what are you doing? Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:11:58 It's like, okay, this person is really taking advantage of their driving time. It's like, okay. Yeah, that was different. We do laugh a little bit here, but here's the thing. You're driving thousands of people. pounds down the road. Yeah. Yeah, it's a weapon. And if you're not focused and you drive into the wrong thing, you could be severely hurt, but even worse, somebody else could be severely hurt. I'm so anti-texting drive now. And I'm not going to lie and act like if I'm going to lie to don't
Starting point is 01:12:26 pick up my phone and look at it sometimes, but I have really eliminated 99% of the time my phone in my hand while my car's moving. I'm proud of that too, because I never thought I'd be that person. It's like, no way. I'm going down. That's the hill I'm dying on. It's texting and driving. It rules, but it doesn't. Because if you do accidentally hit someone, you're going to wish you had never had your phone. You're going to have my phone in my hand. It's just not worth it.
Starting point is 01:12:47 So don't text and drive. Let me do Kaylee in South Carolina. Is this your brother you're going to tell about? Hey, hello. Yeah, you're on the air. What's going on? Hey, so I was actually in the car with my brother while he was typing a paper on the way to school.
Starting point is 01:13:05 Well, he could have tell you and you type it for him? I guess he didn't trust me or something He would rather trust himself While driving to type of paper Than let a sister type the paper for him Yeah and he only got like a C plus on the paper Wasn't even that good Appreciate that call
Starting point is 01:13:21 Amy what do you have anything? I've seen an 18 wheeler driver Reading a book So that's crazy Yeah And that was a couple years ago I don't think I've seen anything too crazy lately But
Starting point is 01:13:33 The guys are consuming Moby Dick While driving a million pounds I was like, man, have you heard of audio books? They're great. That too. Yeah. Watch bikes? I saw a woman.
Starting point is 01:13:43 She was painting her toenails. She had her left foot up on the, like kind of by the way. Driving. Yeah, because it was like, you know, traffic, you're going about 10 miles an hour. And she had her left foot up there and she's painting it as she's going. Wild. Eddie? I saw a guy not too long ago, maybe a couple months ago.
Starting point is 01:13:57 He was making coffee, like a French press coffee thing. He was actually like putting coffee in there and like pushing the little thing down and pouring it. Like, wow. Morgan number two. Have you seen a driver do anything? Yeah, they had an iPad with Netflix up on their dashboard. They were watching a show as they were driving down the road. See, what were they watching, though?
Starting point is 01:14:17 Like that matters. Was it sports? Jack Ryan's back. Thank you all for the calls. Let me say again, as I end this segment, that it's just not worth not being focused. I know that's double negative, but take it for what it is. If you do ruin someone or you do hurt someone,
Starting point is 01:14:33 and it's because your car was moving and you were doing something dumb, you're going to go, why did I even do that? It was the dumbest thing to do. It's just not worth it. So let's say, this is the more you know. Yes. Let's say, this is a, because you're alive, you'll owe a ton of money or somebody will be hurt. Even texting and driving, if you're listening right now, don't do it.
Starting point is 01:14:51 I know it's convenient, but it ain't that important. Even if you have to make a deal with yourself, I'm not going to do it until the stoplight. And you shouldn't even do that, but I do. And you know what happens? I'm at the light and, you know, the car's in pee, or I'm a foot on the gas. And somebody honks at me. And I'm like, you know what, rather have that, then accidentally hit somebody with the car.
Starting point is 01:15:09 The more you know. There was a story about a bride who canceled the wedding, and she canceled the wedding after she got a bunch of donations from friends and family to pay for the wedding. So in all, she had raised about $30,000 for the wedding. And then what do you do? Do you give the money back? And the answer is yeah, right?
Starting point is 01:15:29 Yeah. Yeah. Well, she's still going to go on the honeymoon. What are they paid for? What are you thinking about that? With the one. With the friend. I mean, no, that just doesn't seem right.
Starting point is 01:15:39 That's not what people donated for. A bride to be has angered friends, family, and strangers after she revealed she was canceling her upcoming winter wedding that she's collected all this money for. And she's like, hey, it'll still be put to good use for the elaborate honeymoon, even though they're not married. So they're still going to go on the honeymoon. She's like, everybody relaxed. We're still going to go on her fun trip. That's dirty, right? A fraction of what was donated, but still, like, that's just, yeah, that's not right.
Starting point is 01:16:11 Anybody could say, oh, I'm planning this awesome thing and then last minute cancel it and keep all the money. Jose and Austin, you're on the phone. Appreciate you calling. Jose, what's going on? Hey, Bobby. Good morning. Studio. Morning. Morning. I was wondering if you ever got your Popeye sandwich yesterday. No, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:16:26 Here's what happened, though. And I documented it on the post show because I had a friend who was out running errands and I was like, hey, would you grab me a pop. Like she could just grab it. like she could just walk by and just pick one up real quick. I was like, hey, would you mind grab me a Popeye chicken sandwich? And she's like, all right, I'll be out for like an hour and a half or so. And so she goes to Pop-Bash. She goes, they're sold out.
Starting point is 01:16:46 They're sold out of Popeye sandwiches. She goes, they're sold out of Popeye sandwiches. Okay, well, there's another one I googled and found the one. There's another one like 10 minutes away. And she goes over and goes, well, they don't have any, but a truck just got here of chicken sandwiches. But they're all frozen. And so I couldn't get one there. And then there was another one she got to where they did have some.
Starting point is 01:17:05 Oh my gosh, you went to three? And there was an hour line. Oh. And so by that point, I felt like I had run her all over town. And I was like, no, don't worry about it. So I still have not had the Popeye's chicken sandwich. I did try. And I tell you this too, in yesterday's post show, if you listen to the podcast,
Starting point is 01:17:21 Lunchbox has a potato guy that goes to gas stations. And I got to hit him up today. Potato Mountain 615. Potato Mountain underscore 615 on Instagram. Do we track his followers before we talked to him? Does anybody know what it was? He was at 11-5, I believe. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:36 Because we talked to him yesterday for a long time. The guy's hustling, driving our potatoes, and lunchmarker says he's great. I got to try to get him for a potato today. Just call him and drive. He'll pop the trunk and he'll pull out a potato, and you'll be like, oh, my gosh, this is amazing. So I want to get me a pop back chicken sandwich
Starting point is 01:17:49 and a potato from Potato Mountain. That'd be the greatest dinner ever. So I did not yet, Jose. Have you had one? Not yet. I'm tired, hopefully, today. Oh, you're like me then. Yes.
Starting point is 01:18:02 Hey, you want to take a shot in this is never going to get it, Jose? Not at the moment. I'm dropping off my daughter at school. I have to go in right now. You can't play the... But you can win a million dollars. Oh, we lost to it. All right, Jose, you got to go.
Starting point is 01:18:15 Talk to you soon, bud. Thank you. All right, bye, bye-bye. He's being honest, I like that. He's like, I just really wanted to know if you... He's like, listen. I got time for no stupid game. I'm just needed if you got that chicken.
Starting point is 01:18:26 Sorry, buddy. So, moms handled this decision 60%. Dad's handle a 20%. What's that decision? Let's go to Alicia in Arkansas, who has called the show. Alicia, it's a never going to get it. Go ahead. Is it grocery shopping?
Starting point is 01:18:44 It is not grocery shopping. Thank you very much. Thank you. All right. Amy. I have what's for dinner. Not right. Okay. Solid guess.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Lunchbox. Oh, it's easy. Naming the kids. Not right. Eddie. Bedtime. Not right. Solid guess is all the way around, but that's why you'll never get it.
Starting point is 01:19:03 One more call. Let's go to Lindsay and Austin. You're on the air. Hi, Lindsay. I said the same thing Eddie did. I said kids bedtime. Yeah, not it, huh? Not it.
Starting point is 01:19:14 Oh, I think I got it now. It is actually hiring a babysitter. Oh. Oh, yeah. Okay. So if the moms are 60% and the dad's 20%, where is the other? It could be together. Okay.
Starting point is 01:19:26 It could be randomly. That makes sense. A stranger. The kid. Yeah, it could be an app. All the other things. That 20% All right, that's never going to get it
Starting point is 01:19:36 And you know what, nobody got it So there you go Bobby Boom, come on Time for the 60 second showdown Let's go over to Tina in Florida Who is on the phone right now Hey Tina Welcome to the Bobby Bone show
Starting point is 01:19:49 How's your morning going so far? I'm good I had my coffee so I'm good Okay Still in bed though It's actually Gina Not Tina Okay
Starting point is 01:20:00 Gina Maybe you said Tina because you weren't fully caffeinated yet. No, it's already gone. I don't know. All right, what kind of coffee you have? Tell me what you drink. Oh, it's a long name.
Starting point is 01:20:13 It's a triple iced espresso with coffee nut and white mocha. Whenever you have to say that to the screen, do you feel ridiculous every time or at this point have you just accepted it? Yes, because they cut me off before I get done seeing it all. And then what do you say? You're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, I have more. No, yeah. I'm like, well, I'm not done.
Starting point is 01:20:38 And then she's like, okay, what else? And I'm like, I finish the order. And she's like, okay, what else? Yeah, there's nothing else. I just want the coffee. Are you in your car right now? Or are you at work or better? Yes.
Starting point is 01:20:49 I'm, yes, I'm working. And I'm sitting in my car. Okay, so here she is. She had her coffee. Still kind of asleep. Where do you live in Florida? Naples. Naples, Florida.
Starting point is 01:21:00 One of all the Apoleses is, That's my most favorite. Yeah, it's a good one. I love Naples. Okay, so I'm going to give you two shots here, Tina, because if you win, I will give you $100 of my own money. Yeah, now she's up. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:15 And I brought it with me. Because last time it was hard to get up from me, my idea had to beat me up for a week. Like, give me that money. Dang, man. I know. You all right? I don't keep cash, but now I have it in my wallet.
Starting point is 01:21:26 You have two categories. You can choose from Disney movies. How's that sound? One through ten, how does that sound? Disney movies. Okay, or? Wait, one through ten, Gina, how do you feel about Disney movies? I like Disney movies.
Starting point is 01:21:43 Gina, one through ten, like a six, a seven, what do you feel about that? Oh, yeah, six. Okay, the other category is Bible. What? Bible trivia. Oh, no, no, no. That's not going to work. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:00 So you want to go with Disney movies. Those are your two options. Okay, yeah, we'll do Disney. If you get all 10 of these questions right in 60 seconds, I will give you $100 of my own cash. Now, Gina, why do I give away my own cash? Because you love your fans? Well, yes, but mostly because they won't give me any money to give away,
Starting point is 01:22:20 so I have to fund the games myself. Oh, okay. It's a very grassroots operation here. Gotcha. 10 questions. It's six seconds a question, basically. If you don't know it, I would suggest you pass when we come back to it, okay? Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:33 If you miss it, we'll come back to it as well. Are we ready to play, everybody? Yeah. Ready. 60 seconds on the clock. Gina from Naples is on the phone. Gina, are you ready? The category is Disney movies.
Starting point is 01:22:45 The timer starts when I finish the first question. Question number one. Which Disney movie features an elephant that has huge ears and he uses them to fly? Dumbo. Correct. Timone and Pumba are featured in what Disney movie? Lion King. Correct.

Who is the cowgirl that Woody meets in Toy Story 2? Dolly? Incorrect, we'll come back. Bambi's friend Thumper is what kind of animal? Rabbit.

Which 2008 Disney movie is about a robot. cleaning up Earth in the future. You can fly in a pirate's life or songs from what classic Disney film?
Starting point is 01:23:54 She got to the 10th question. If she would have... Oh. Oh, she's still hurting. I don't know that one. It's literally they're in pain for a second. I don't know that one. All right. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:24:04 Dumbo, the elephant. Timon and Pumba. I said that right. Yes. Lion King. Colors of the Wind, Pocahontas. She got all these right, by the way. Jeannie was voiced by Robert.
Starting point is 01:24:15 Robin Williams in the original, correct? The Cowgirl and Toy Story 2. You said... Dolly. Dolly. You were kind of in the right lane-ish. Do you know who it is it? Anyone? Yeah. No.
Starting point is 01:24:27 Jesse. Jesse. So it was an email? Jesse. Yeah, it was Jesse. You knew Bambi's friend Thumper was a bunny. Bell was in Beauty and the Beast. Bell!
Starting point is 01:24:38 Oh, I didn't know that one. I sure did not that one. Despicable Me was minions. Got that one. Wally was the robot. that cleaned up earth. Wally. And then you can fly in a pirate's life
Starting point is 01:24:50 are songs from which classic Disney film. What would you think if you're just guessing? Pirates. Oh, I have no idea. Think about it. You can fly and a pirate's life. Context clues. Aladdin?
Starting point is 01:25:02 No. Okay, but you're, you're is. Eddie, you know? Yeah, Peter Pan. Peter Pan. Yeah. Captain Hood. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Classic. Yeah. Classic. Hey, Gina, what kind of job do you have? I do pest control and trapping and Well, what are you trapping? What's the biggest thing you've ever trapped? An armadillo or a raccoon.
Starting point is 01:25:24 They're really big and mean. Are you using cages? What are you using? Yeah. Yeah, cages. And do you take them out in the woods and free them and go, like, live your life? Sometimes. Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 01:25:39 I don't want to hear any more. No, no, no, no. I don't want to hear any more of this. You don't want to know. the answer to the question. No, actually, I do because we recently had some animals trapped at our house, and I asked him, what are you going to go do with it? I don't know if it, I think it was, oh, man, it was a mama possum and some baby possums or something,
Starting point is 01:25:58 and they were so cute. And they told me that they were going to free them in the wild, that they have a special place where they do drops. It's easier to tell people that. Oh! Oh! What? No. Friends.
Starting point is 01:26:15 We I don't even want to talk about this They go and they live a lot Happy life Gina They go on vacation Will you tell Abby our phone screener What you really do?
Starting point is 01:26:26 I'm gonna know I need to know What do you think they do? I don't know I don't release them Do you think they take them home In their personal pets? Instead of taking them in the wild
Starting point is 01:26:35 They just drop them off down the street No No No they do not I don't She's serious too We have a 22 round of our shots What?
Starting point is 01:26:44 22 animals, Amy. 22 animals. I am. My mind is blown right now. My mind is telling me no. No. I refuse to believe this and I'm really mad at that guy for lying to me. Maybe he really took it to the special place.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Maybe his he goes to a special harm. Why did they say that? I'm an adult. I'm paying you for service. Don't lie to me. Gina, thank you. Gina. You're welcome.
Starting point is 01:27:11 I love you guys. I listen to you every day. Oh, thank you very much. Thank you very. I hope this experience was fun for you because you ain't getting no cash. I mean. I'm okay with that. All right, Gina.

How fascinating is it when I talk about really old men or women dating, really young men or women? Pretty fascinating. Me too. I see him, man.
Starting point is 01:31:09 I just want to bring them in and talk about it all time. Who's next? Well, Richard Geer from Pretty Woman. My favorite. He's 70 years old. Him and his wife are expecting their second child together. She's 36. Now, 36 is a super healthy adult age.
Starting point is 01:31:27 You can make all your decisions. Your brain is fully, it's matured. They say it's 26 years old. The female brain's fully matured. To guys is a little older. We're kind of idiots. We're dumb. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:37 What do you think about 70 and 36? I mean, they're about to have their second baby together. So I guess they've been together a while. All I think about when you say that is when their baby's 10, he's going to be 80. When their babies graduated from high school, he's going to be almost 90. Could be dead. If he's not. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:55 I worry about that for me. I'm 39. I have no kids. Well, you're not 70. Slow down. Yet. Yet. Listen, I'm always okay with them because I feel like as long as they're legal, there's
Starting point is 01:32:07 nothing happening that's shady, have at it, go do love. We come on and we're like, oh, that's crazy. But then again, we spend eight seconds whether we move on with our life. Everybody's moving on with their life. Nobody's who are judging. I just know that. I'm not personally attracted to a 70-year-old, but. Yeah, maybe that's the right one. Hmm. Okay. My point is, everyone that worries about people putting them in judgment or, oh, they're going to think this about me if I do X, Y, or Z. Here's why you shouldn't worry about that.
Starting point is 01:32:36 because those people you're worried about judging you are spending about three seconds of their life worried about you and they're onto something else. Yeah, you're spending all of these minutes, hours, worrying about people judging you. It just doesn't add up. So, okay, do what you're going to do and people may say something about it
Starting point is 01:32:54 that they don't fully understand, but they're really going to think about it for just a brief blip of time and they're going to move on with their life. So even if you are worried about other people saying stuff or thinking stuff, look at it and they're going to move. move on. Like right now, we're going to do this Richard Gears story. We're going to move off
Starting point is 01:33:08 of it. Yeah. And Richard Gears and live a happy life for years and years and years. Well, maybe a couple of 70. But. Because we probably talked about it when she was pregnant with the first one. I think we did. And we don't even remember. And I was like, oh, I forgot about that. If you're worried about it. If you're worried you for a second, because they have other things in their life they're worried about. Who cares? There's so much
Starting point is 01:33:26 freedom and understanding that people don't really care about you for the most part that aren't in your circle. And it's Richard Gear. What do you mean? He's hot. She's hot. Still? Not still, but if you picture him way back. That's a lot of people. Keep a lot of young pictures around the house.
Starting point is 01:33:42 All his movie posters from back in the 80s. Exactly. Like, you're good to go. It's fun. It's a cute couple. If they find love, who in the world are we to go? That ain't right. But Bobby, when you say cute couple, like look at it again and be like, oh, is that a dad with his daughter?
Starting point is 01:33:58 It definitely could be. It could be, I mean, if you play the numbers really close, it could be a granddaughter. My mom got pregnant with me when she was 15 years old. True. So, yeah. There you go. They said they're much happier. And good luck with that second kid.
Starting point is 01:34:14 But you're right. I often wonder, he's 70. Is he doing it because she wants another kid? Because he can't seven to be like a show with like another baby. Right. He can't. What do I know? But got to get me a couple of those babies.
Starting point is 01:34:27 You can raise it. I'm probably going to be around. Is that happening to normal people or just celebrities? Or rich people? Is that having a normal people? Mix of all. Okay. Just wondering.
Starting point is 01:34:38 It's a mix of all. I don't know. It's like the gas station trail mix. A little peanut, little raisin, all that day. All right. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 01:34:54 So I love when sports aren't taken so seriously that you can't like have a really cool moment with someone on the team that maybe otherwise wouldn't get to score an 89 yard touchdown. there's this senior on the football team. His name is Tristan Edwards, and he has like this muscular disorder. Like he has muscle weakness, his joints, like really hurt. But he's on the football team. And the other team, like they stayed away and didn't tackle him. And he got to score an 89-yard touchdown.
Starting point is 01:35:25 Yeah, I'm watching it right now. And it's like just really special because it's a senior year. And his teammates are surrounding him running with him. Like fans on both sides were cheering for him. him. And that's just something special that you can do for somebody that otherwise may not ever get that moment. I'm watching it now. We'll put it up on our Facebook page, Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 01:35:44 And, I mean, it's really, really cool. He's in white uniforms and black numbers. And he's running with his teammates surrounding him. And the other team's like, hey, go ahead, score the touchdown. It's round one playoffs. I'm not sure where the game was. Montana. No, no, I mean, like where the game was, what the score was for them to do this.
Starting point is 01:36:00 Yeah, 45 to 0. Is that what it was? Yeah. Well, good for both these coaches, too. to agree to this as well. Some things are a lot bigger. I've also seen close games where they do that and they'll allow touchdown, touchdown,
Starting point is 01:36:11 and be squared again. Yeah. Okay, I see. Yeah. So there you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. I'm getting a lot of texts about minions
Starting point is 01:36:35 and despicable me not being a Disney movie. Mike D wrote the game. Mike D. Would you like to defend yourself here? It is a universal movie. I thought it was Disney Pixar. Well, they're lighting me up over here. What would you like to say to all of them?
Starting point is 01:36:49 I am sorry. Fair enough. Mike D writes the games for the show. But he is sorry. It's a great way to go into it. I messed up. What can he do about it? The end.
Starting point is 01:37:00 Move on, folks. Okay. Well, thank you, Mike D. Mike D, how's it going with your girlfriend, by the way? It's going really good, yeah. Mike D is our writer, but Mike D. He started with me as an intern. How many years ago?
Starting point is 01:37:11 Like, almost 10 years ago. And he's moved his way up, move cities with us and his first ever girlfriend is the girl he's dating right now and you guys started dating when about 16 months ago about six months four days and three hours ago i would always say the wrong time and she's like it's been longer than that so you guys have down you've been together for 16 months yeah and she lives in austin and you live in nashville yeah so we a lot of long-distance stuff you go back and forth how often um probably every three weeks you try to see each other are you facetiming every night every night talk all the time are you talking about
Starting point is 01:37:44 the next stage or you just kind of let in the long distance thing just run right now and you figured out later? I think we're at the point now we're talking about like the next stage because um she's in grad school right now and she has about a year left so it's like what's going to happen after that so we're starting to look at that. How old are you? I am 28 and she is 25. It's good and she's finishing grad school like in what type of career it's uh like public public health oh my gosh he knows he knows I asked him like a broad generic because he probably could have told me exactly what she was doing. Yeah, but it's public health. So she does a lot of, like, research for, like, diseases and she wants to get into cancer research. Oh, wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:22 Wow. Is she smarter than you? Oh, a lot smarter than that. That's how to do it. That's exactly it. I'm always, I'm so driven to find someone way, way smarter than me. And it's not that hard to do to find somebody smarter than me. So, and you guys are happy. One through 10 scale right now? We're at 10. That's a good answer, even if you're not. There's a good answer. There it is. Any advice on the long distance lunchbox? Because you did that for a long time. Well, I mean, if he's FaceTime and every night, that's more than what we did. And you're going every three weeks, that's more than what we did. So I don't have any advice because you seem to be nailing it.
Starting point is 01:38:53 Well, you get engaged before. That's what I was going to ask. Will she move before you get engaged? I think we would have to be engaged before she moved here. It's kind of like she's not going to move here for a boyfriend. Fair? Yeah. And do you feel like you guys will get engaged before she finishes the year of school?
Starting point is 01:39:11 Possibly? Do you think you'll beat Ray? I have no idea. It's at the end of the years, I don't know. Eddie, you're going to say something? I have a question. Yeah. I thought about this the other night. If she had to come up to Mike D and say, like, hey, I have a job and I need you to move, would Mike D leave the show for her?
Starting point is 01:39:29 Oh. That's a great question. Hey, Mike D, she says, she says, me or the highway. Oh, man, that's a big one. It's highway. It's hard work. I would find a way to make a way to make it. work. I could...
Starting point is 01:39:43 I'm not opposed to it. Great answer. Yeah, it's a good answer. Because you don't have to... Eddie's not holding you binding. No, no, I just thought about it the other night when you posted a picture. I'm like, I wonder if he would leave the show for her. I've had conversations with Mike, too. It's like, hey, if you ever want to go and do your own show, like, I'll help you do that.
Starting point is 01:39:58 Like, what... Because I think Mike, in his own capacity, could do many shows. And so, maybe that's... Maybe that's it. The caveat. I never want Mike to lose Mike. Mike's my main guy here. He travels with me. We do everything.
Starting point is 01:40:12 But, all right. Well, I'm happy that you're happy. Thank you. And I like her. And she's smarter than you and cuter than you. And that's what you want. I got lucky, yeah. Yeah, yeah, that's great. I'm so happy for you. Yes, lunch, lunch, box. I was going to say, doesn't it make you nervous to get engaged before you've ever lived in the same city? You don't even know, like, you're still do the whole weekend thing.
Starting point is 01:40:31 Oh, like honeymoon phase. Never living in the same city before you get engaged. Just, woo, that is scary. Well, he's never had a girlfriend ever. So this is all new. And I guess if you know, you know, is that what they say? I never know. I never know. I was what they say.
Starting point is 01:40:48 I was like my therapist yesterday talking about that. I think you know. Yeah. What were you guys talking about? Yesterday it was her encouraging me because I start to feel guilty if I'm going on dates with multiple girls. Like first or second dates. Not dating multiple girls because there is a difference. Yes.
Starting point is 01:41:05 But if I'm just like date this girl, see if I like her, if it's okay, whatever date, go on a date with somebody else. mostly going on dates. She's like, you shouldn't feel guilty. Yeah, play on. She's like, you're not even being a player. She's like, you're just trying to find somebody that you like. And there's nothing wrong with that because I do have a bit of guilt that starts to set in. And I'm like, eh, you don't know.
Starting point is 01:41:22 It's like, it's not a deal. You're not lying. If you're not lying to anybody, then you're not being dishonest with anyone. So that was part of it yesterday. And then feel, letting, she goes, feelings come and go. You should feel every one of them to come by. Because I struggle with going too high or too low. Always right in the middle.
Starting point is 01:41:38 She's like, feelings come and go. you should let feeling hits, but then it moves on. So how do you not feel? I mean, I get that you like to stay in the middle and you don't let yourself. I don't like to stay in the middle. But I just feel so, I mean, and I get that it's we're wired differently. But I feel so much, all the things. Like I feel extremes.
Starting point is 01:41:56 I feel the look. So how do you not feel? Because I've had to protect myself from feelings for so long. I don't get too low because that affects me working. I've built the shell around me where nothing. makes me go up, nothing makes me go down, and I stay the same the whole time. I would like to be able to go up, and to be able to go up, you have to go down, too. You don't just get to experience the highs without opening yourself up all the way.
Starting point is 01:42:17 Right. So I told her, I said, I watched Modern Love and I cried, and I don't ever cry. And she was like, why do you think that is? And then I was like, well, the first episode's about a guy who's like a father figure, and that got me. And the second one's about a relationship, and how they were together and not together, and they got back together. And it was like, regardless of what happened, they were probably getting out. I was like, that got me.
Starting point is 01:42:38 And she was like, okay. know why and then we dug in on that she's great i told her yesterday too my therapist said hey i'm really i don't know that enjoying is the word but i'm really getting a lot from this why you're laughing i was picturing you being like i'm really enjoying this do you want to go on a date you always take it there don't you you wouldn't date her you've done it before is she older or okay and i will only go to a female therapist i went to a guy for a little bit i just was raised by all women and part of me only feels safe and secure with women yeah grandma raised my was my mom for a long time My mom is my mom for a little bit.
Starting point is 01:43:09 All women all the time. Even in that world, it's all women. Sometimes she'd nestle me in her bosom and... Okay, see, I say one thing and then you take him way too far. I'm joking, too. Yeah, of course. Mike D, good luck, bro. I'm rooting for you.
Starting point is 01:43:28 Don't leave the show, though. Wait, you just said you would help him... I would help him do his own show, but don't leave the show just... You know what? Don't listen to me. Don't leave the show for love. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:38 Don't work. As I'm saying that out a lot, I catch myself saying that. And I'm like, you know what, that's not right. You leave the show for where your heart tells you to go. Right. That's the answer right there. You feel and follow that feeling. Boom.
Starting point is 01:43:52 Big celebrity breakup. Reba broke up with Skeeter. Oh, yeah. They broke up in May. She confirmed it to us weekly, saying they still talk and her friends, but they decided to go their separate ways. I liked all Skeeter. Did you meet Skeeter? I got to hang out with them a little bit.
Starting point is 01:44:10 We sat together in an award show. Met him up here. I also like Riva. Sad to see this happy kids. Not together anymore. She and her boyfriend Skeeter parted away six months ago. And so they're still friends. They decided to go separate ways.
Starting point is 01:44:26 Oh, Skeeter was an oil, if I remember right. Really? He was doing the oil biz. He was doing some photography, too. Yeah, I liked Old Skeeter. Elizabeth in Virginia, thank you for calling the show. Elizabeth, what's happening with you? Hi.
Starting point is 01:44:45 Good morning. Good morning. You're on. What's happening? I just got a quick question for you. You talk so much about yourself on the show. Do what would one thing, if you could change anything about your life, what would it be? One thing about yourself.
Starting point is 01:45:03 Well, physical or emotional? Because first of all, I go get rid of this bird chest. That's tough. I'm built like a 12-year-old boy and had been my whole life. and I hate it. But, you know, it is what it is. I've accepted me for me, but I would change it if I could.
Starting point is 01:45:20 So physically... I would feel more emotional than physically. Well, something that I'm really working on is I'm trying to respond rather than react. I think so much with me, somebody says something or something happens, and I'm like, boom, let's go. On.
Starting point is 01:45:36 Feel good, feel bad. Phil, move on. Instead, I'm trying to gauge it a bit and go, okay, this is a situation to happen. Let me give myself a little space to think about this and not jump out in a super positive way or super negative way. But let me take a second and see how I'd really feel. So I don't want to be like a reptile.
Starting point is 01:45:54 I've made that comparison before. Reptiles live on just making quick decisions based on their immediate surroundings all the time. I don't want to do that. And I'm working on that right now. So I would say I'm trying to respond better and I'm trying to do some bench press. Those are the two things that I'm really working on myself for right now.
Starting point is 01:46:13 And I'm in therapy to try to, I'm going to a relationship therapist without a relationship, which I think is new for my counselor. Because mostly there are two chairs in her office that look at each other. They're looking at anybody. There's nobody there. I'm just sitting there staring at nobody. But we both have a goal in mind. I'm a very goal-oriented person.
Starting point is 01:46:34 By the way, there's nothing I can't do. And so I will do this too because I've committed myself to it. So, yeah, there you go. How about all that? Anything else? No. That answered my question perfectly. Well, what about you, Elizabeth?
Starting point is 01:46:48 What would you change? About you? Not me. What would you change about you, Elizabeth? I wouldn't change anything. It wouldn't be my family. It wouldn't be anything of that kind of sorts. But I went through an experience about 10 years ago.
Starting point is 01:47:04 And if I could change anything, that completely seems to who I am as a person. You know, I'll have been wondering. You know, you bring something up. You know, they have these, these pills or this shock that they can make you forget certain things they talk about. Where do you fall on that, Amy? If they go, you know, I can eliminate any bad memory that you want from yourself. For me personally, the stuff that I've been through that has left like trauma in me, I've grown from it. Like, there's molded me into who I am.
Starting point is 01:47:37 So I would keep it. but I haven't experienced a kind where, you know, maybe I could imagine going through some stuff where it's just best if you just never have to know that you ever went through that again. You bring up a good point because I'm someone who now at 39 years old goes, I'm really happy for how I grew up and it was a struggle. I grew up really poor and, you know, I had a mom who died from addiction and I didn't know my dad my whole life. But I'm very glad that that happened to me in the way now that I can empathize with other people who are sharing a similar experience.
Starting point is 01:48:08 Right. So that I'm happy for, and I would go, not for me to eliminate because I am who I am based on what I have come through and from. However, if I could drop a few of those getting jumped or getting robbed a gunpoint, I dropped that immediately. They did nothing a benefit for me. Right, except for cause fear and anxiety. And caused me to get on sleeping pills, and that messed me up for a while, except nightmares forever. Yeah. I mean, I think of things that, like, military have gone through or even stuff that, I mean, my husband have been in.
Starting point is 01:48:38 serving in the Air Force for 12 years and going overseas for like literally 12 years. I know that he's seen and done stuff. I'm sure, like even for him, stuff that he can't even really talk to anybody about. Like what secret stuff has he told you? I don't know. I don't know. But I know and I know there's way, there's guys in a way different position of him. They literally feel like they have nobody to talk to.
Starting point is 01:49:00 And there's so much PTSD and different things surrounding that. Like, I don't know. I feel like that would be something like if our military could offer. that to people because yeah it's no benefit some some stuff they've seen does nothing to help them other than to maybe empathize with other soldiers that have gone through the same thing and hopefully carry them through it i mean that's where i think i find my worth is that i've been through some crap but other people have to and other people are about to and i can go oh yeah it sucks i'm not saying it doesn't suck but i'm probably weaker than you and i got through it so you can do it too
Starting point is 01:49:33 right so but that's all those stories are always interesting to me if they can eliminate parts of your life. The heavy trauma stuff where you learn nothing from it, like you can sign me up for that all day. Right. Just not for me. But the struggle, the struggle, you know, ends up making you who you are. What do you want to be? You want to be Oprah? You want to be Prince Charles. You want to be Oprah. Yeah. Prince Charles has no understanding of what it's like to fight or struggle or have to work for something. And they're both super rich and never have to work again in their life. But Oprah actually values and understands what it's like to come through stuff. I would much rather be Oprah than Prince Charles.
Starting point is 01:50:13 That's me anyway. There you go. Is it weird that I'd rather be a girl than a guy? Is that across anybody's mind? Hey, thank you for the call. Appreciate that, Elizabeth. You know, I've been hesitant to talk about this because I don't want it to happen anymore, but I was showing Morgan number two a picture during the break. to, women are starting to come to my
Starting point is 01:54:09 parking garage sign out in the garage and lift their shirts up and take pictures by it. No, they're not. Do you want to... I want to see. No, lunchbox. How do you know? Because I'm getting direct messages of them doing it. What? Yeah. I got one just a minute ago. Come over here. There's more than
Starting point is 01:54:24 one? Yeah. It's become like a thing. Bones, they just did it a minute ago? Yeah. Hold on. I'll be right back. Look, 26 minutes ago, I got this picture. What? Yeah. Tell me I'm lying.
Starting point is 01:54:37 You're not lying. Yeah. How do they look, Amy? I don't, Amy, I don't know where it's on my cousin or anything. Wow. Are they hotties? So I have a parking spot with a sign on here at the building and now women are coming and it's a thing like tourists. It's going to be a challenge.
Starting point is 01:54:49 A vital challenge. They take their, they lift their shirt up next to my parking garage sign. Wow. Dang. That's weird. You know you made it. I don't do lie. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:55:01 I've never heard of such a thing. I haven't either. Yeah. So you know what else I was thinking about you the other day? Yeah. That made you think of me? Yeah, because I knew how you'd react to be like, that's so weird. It's just so bizarre.
Starting point is 01:55:12 I just have a couple of stories I was thinking about you. The other one is this new VH1 show called Cartel Crew. Ooh, tell me more. Well, it's El Choppo's wife is going to join this show. Is it Cartel Wives? So the woman married to El Chappo is about to make her debut on American TV. Should we glamorize? No, we shouldn't.
Starting point is 01:55:32 But what time? That's going to be highly entertaining. I don't, I mean, I am intrigued as to what it's like to be the significant other of such a person to where I think even if you want out, you fear that he may take your life. Because of what you know, or are they capable of actually really loving you? Because something is psychopathic about them to where they just, people that can just murder people like that, like the cartel people. Like something's missing. Something's off. So like I would feel like if I was married to you.
Starting point is 01:56:04 Like, well, if I leave you, you might murder me, so I'm just going to stay. Well, but she is only famous because he murdered people. Mm-hmm. I don't know. And now she gets to use the fame from him murdering people to make money for her. Kind of weird. I'm not above being entertained by it, by the way. I'm just talking it out here.
Starting point is 01:56:21 Right. But is El Chapo going to be okay with her going on TV? He's in jail. Yeah, okay. He doesn't have connections. I don't know. I read about that. I'm sure he has connections.
Starting point is 01:56:32 I don't think he's very connected to them right now. Yeah. to his people that are like, how could he get them a message? Maybe his attorneys, if he's talking to his attorneys, who knows? But would you watch this show? Probably. I may tune in once, just to see. I thought about you when I saw it.
Starting point is 01:56:49 But you know what's super sad is I wasn't able to go to my friend's wedding in Mexico because I'm flying to Portland. I got to do some American Idol stuff that I contractually obligated, so I can't go to the wedding. And I had said, and I felt this way, but there was also a little bit of hyperbole where I was joking a bit too, where I don't want to go to Mexico. Didn't seem safe to me.
Starting point is 01:57:08 I don't want to land in an airplane and drive across town or wherever. It's an hour drive from the airport. And then somebody went to a wedding until they got murdered yesterday. Nine American. Was that the family? Yes. Well, the headline, it's not like I would categorize in this, but I didn't know why.
Starting point is 01:57:23 I didn't know why that was there because it just said Mormon family murdered by cartel. Going to a wedding in Mexico. I only saw the headline, but what? I think they were confused for someone else is what one of the story. said, but I don't know. I don't know. But we had just been talking about it, so many listeners that sent me the link going, hey. How do you confuse this cute?
Starting point is 01:57:41 It was like children. I don't know. I don't understand. But it's stuff like that where I go, cartel, that's as brutal and as awful as it possibly gets. And yet here's the wife of the leader of the biggest get in to be famous now because of all of that. But it's also like following OJ on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:57:59 Maybe I shouldn't watch it. Does she really get paid? I don't get paid. I won't follow or anything. You're just talking right now. Amy's doing a complete monologue. But following OJ on Twitter. The guy killed two people. Yeah. And people are entertained by that. He lost a civil case. Before you text me and go,
Starting point is 01:58:17 no, he lost a civil case. Yeah. So again, all of that, but I was thinking about you walking backward. We had talked about the wedding and so many listeners to me that link. I wanted to bring it up. Gosh, so sad. They all chop a show, but mostly the girls flashing their boobs by my parking sign out there.
Starting point is 01:58:35 Amazing. Weird. We still haven't seen it. I don't think he's going to show you as well. Morgan number two saw it. She's like she's giggling. You saw it, right? Yeah, you showed it too. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:58:45 One of my fondest memories from being a kid is my grandmother and I who raised me for a lot of my life. We would stay up all night. We'd play poker, and then as soon as the sun was about to start coming up, we would go and do yard sales. And we do it all the time. And sometimes we do them right into church. and there was a almost every
Starting point is 01:59:05 at least once a month thing that we would do and so I love yard cells garage sales basically all the same it's just where you put it out in the yard of the garage you know but Chris Brown is having a big old garage sale right now and we were talking about this a couple weeks ago when he announced it
Starting point is 01:59:19 but Chris Brown this guy here he was serious about it and by the way we wear a size 11 shoe which is pretty awesome he wears size 32 pants yeah I'm a little thinner than that but I can take those in That's all you.
Starting point is 01:59:33 He's 6'1-156. Basically the same size I am. Wow. Maybe he's just more ripped. But yeah, he put up yard cell. Wednesday, 116th, which is today, starting at 10 a.m. Featuring significantly marked down high-end designer items. I just wonder what's...
Starting point is 01:59:52 He says at his house. Yeah, like, what's up with this? He can't be hurting from money. Hey, Google Chris Brown's net worth. You guys got to have a ton. If you're in Southern California, which you're probably not... I just think the story is so interesting and you want to shop.
Starting point is 02:00:05 His house is at 19602 Citrus Ridge Drive and bring some money. It says this net worth $50 million. Yeah. Like, what's the deal here? And there's no way
Starting point is 02:00:16 that's his daily residence. This is a stunt? Like, I think this is something, this is some kind of stunt for some sort of new material. Because we're talking about it and how often will we talk about Chris Brown on the show?
Starting point is 02:00:29 The two-day event is apparently first come, first served. I wonder if he's out. there with a cash register on the lawn, though. I guess it's a Venmo now with a square. Oh, right. But we're a lot of the same dimensions, and we both sing really well. Man, can anybody you can call, swing by there for you and pick up some stuff? I don't think so, but I would go if I was in town. Babe, it's up on his Instagram. What's happening with you today? You can't go to the yard, so what else you got? Yeah, no. I'm doing a workout
Starting point is 02:00:52 today and then getting on a call with our realtor trying to figure out our move. So, trying to still figure that out if it's really, really happening. What about you? The dog comes out of surgery, so when I go home, he should be coming out of surgery. I'll go pick him up. So my dog got surgery today and a bunch of stuff. I have, I'm going to go box at two. We open a third gym, which I'm pretty pumped about. Yesterday we closed on it.
Starting point is 02:01:15 Oh. So is that, you don't work out there today, though, too quick? Maybe. We'll see. Oh. We'll see. It's already done. We just bought it from somebody else.
Starting point is 02:01:22 Oh, that's easy. But then tonight, I fly to Portland to shoot American Idol for two days. So we'll be on the air tomorrow from Portland. So go do that. So, a pretty busy day, but a good day. And then next week we do all the CMA award stuff. It's going to be awesome. Friday show, don't forget, Amy versus Morgan number one.
Starting point is 02:01:40 No, Eddie. They got too many people. Okay, Eddie, our video producer, versus Morgan number one, who used to be the executive producer of the show. Eddie promised her the trophy if we won. We won. Now he doesn't want to give it to her, so they're going to compete for it. Yeah.
