Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
Ah, here we're...
Welcome to Tuesday's show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Well, let's see what's happening with everybody
and what we call What's the Haps?
Hey!
Hey!
What's the Hats?
Amy, you're up.
What's happening?
Okay, so just shout out again to my dad's
awesome assisted living place.
I just love that he makes friends.
They play Name That Tune.
They play Bingo.
Like, I walked into his room and he had like
this like gift basket thing.
I'm like, Dad, what's this from?
He's like, I won bingo.
I'm like, well, look at you.
This is so fun.
But anyway, they also bring in like therapy animals.
They actually have a dog that live.
lives on the property, but one day they brought in a miniature horse.
Into the building?
Yes, it's a therapy animal.
It's the same miniature horse that also goes to St. Jude.
So it's like trained to be therapeutic and stuff for like, you know, sick patients or elderly.
So I just was like, dad, next time this happens, you have to call me right away.
When the therapy animal comes in, Amy wants to play with it.
Yes.
I need to meet the miniature horse.
So, yeah.
That's what up?
Yeah.
All right.
What's that happens?
Hey.
Hey, what's the half?
What's happened with you?
Well, I didn't get to talking about this yesterday,
but I watched that movie Peanut Butter Falcon.
Mm-hmm.
Just because it was the weekend,
and I was like, I have an hour and a half to kill.
Not a super long movie.
And it's about this dude who is, like,
trying to leave home,
has some drama there,
and it's about a kid with Down syndrome
who wants to leave the old folks
when they put them in
because of the girls to put them,
and they end up together.
I give it 4.5 jiffy peanut butters out of five.
It's really good.
Do you think my husband would like it?
I think you all would like it.
Okay, cool.
Because I was trying to tell him I wanted to watch it, and he was like, I don't really know of that.
Well, I didn't know what peanut butter falcon meant, but it's the nickname he gives himself.
Okay.
I didn't know what the, but I give it a 4.5 out of five jiffies.
Cool.
I think you'd all like it.
It's pretty, I want to say it's completely wholesome, but mostly wholesome.
All right.
Yeah.
Hey, there you go.
Hey, what's the hat?
Lunchbox.
Well, Halloween is officially over last night.
I finally took down the Halloween decorations.
I had skeletons and spider webs and spiders up.
And I went outside and I said, okay, it's the middle of November.
It's time to take it down.
So I had to say goodbye to Halloween last night.
I have all my Christmas decorations up for you guys tonight.
Speaking of decorations.
All right.
Got some joy signs on the door.
Oh.
Yeah.
I didn't go crazy with it decorating.
But I got stockings.
Not for you guys.
Does this smell like peppermint or anything?
No.
Not like fresh pine?
No, no, no.
I didn't have any Halloween decorations up, though, so it was easier.
Are you going to put Halloween or, or excuse me, Christmas or Thanksgiving up much more?
I put a Thanksgiving.
I put a turkey on the front door.
That's it.
That's all I got.
Okay, no need.
You don't have to do Thanksgiving decorations.
Right.
It's not elaborate.
It's just some hand-stitched thing.
It's a big old turkey and you hang it on your front door and looks like, hey, I'm in the mood for Thanksgiving.
That'll be up for a week and then it'll be Christmas.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
Eddie, wrap us up, bud.
I guess for the last like five years, I'm off to.
like maybe four or five cups of coffee
every morning. And in the last
three days, guys, I'm not drinking coffee.
I'm just trying it out just to kind of see
how my body reacts to it. Headaches? No.
What? Not bad at all. Oh, anytime
I give it a break, I get a headache. I feel
alert. So now I feel like I was
dependent on coffee. Now I feel maybe I can have one
cup of a morning and I'll be fine.
And if you cut back on anything
that you've been on and then you go back
to your normal, you get that super effect again.
Oh, wow. So I have that to look forward to.
Yes. Like if you stop drinking for a long time,
when you have a cup, it's going to hit you harder because your body's not used to it.
Wow, yeah, I've had water just for the last three mornings.
I mean, it's not.
Maybe you do it for like a week then.
Yeah, we'll see how it goes.
Okay.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hats?
All right, that's what's the hats.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
Let's start the draft for today.
We'll be drafting people whose names start with A.
By the way, Morgan number two is in the lead.
If she wins this draft, she will be the champion, and we will retire the drafts for a while.
But Morgan number two is at nine wins.
One win away.
Lunchbox and I are in second.
Everybody else is...
You guys are doing good, though.
You're trying hard.
You are trying hard.
Ramundo will be setting this one out
because he got the lowest score in the history of the draft last time with only 3%.
What?
Yeah.
Are you serious?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, my God.
The lowest score in the history of the draft.
Boo!
No, okay, here we go.
First up is Lunchbox,
people that start with A as an...
Apple lunchbox, go ahead.
You're up.
Yeah, she's huge.
She's a pop star.
Her name's Ariana Grande.
All right, there you go.
I thought you didn't have her.
Next.
Eddie?
It's funny you say Apple, bones.
I'm going to go with Adam from the Bible.
Is that how you say it when it's right?
Yeah, what are you?
Adam from the Bible.
Adam from the Bible is what you're saying.
Adam from the Bible.
Okay.
Morgan number two coming over to you.
How this one slipped past both of them, I have no idea.
Adam Sandler.
What?
Oh, I have that.
I didn't know.
I didn't have that.
It's huge.
It was like 1992.
It's a good one.
All right.
Yours is like before time.
Oh.
That's funny.
All time.
That's funny.
Okay, I'm going to go with, starts with A.
I'm going to go with Al Dean.
Jason.
Oh, scratch that one off my list.
All right.
All starts with A.
Amy?
Okay.
Shoot.
I'm going to go with
I'm going to go with Abraham Lincoln.
Solid one.
I was going to get that one in the next round.
That's a good one, though.
Let's go away.
You can just put Jason Aldine.
You don't put Al Dean, comma, I think we got it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Aldine.
Yeah.
Okay.
Amy, you're up second round pick one.
Oh, wow.
Wow, Marty, back to me.
Okay, then I'm going to go with Jennifer Aniston.
Solid.
Good.
Good one.
Bring it.
You know, I have to go with my heart in these.
A lot of times I'll start thinking on my brain, I'll pandering a bit.
And I'll be like, I don't want to pander.
What are the voters want?
I don't want that.
I just want to know what I want.
And what I have, pound for pound, is I think the strongest A on this list,
and I'm glad it made it to the second round.
Just so full of love.
And I hope people will just see it and give me a big old Amy Brown hug.
Amy from the Bobby Bone Show.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hang it.
I tried that last time.
It didn't work.
I want mine to be like, I want mine to say Amy from the Bobby Bone Show.
Okay.
If you end up losing, that's going to be so sad.
But when Eddie picks me for these things.
It didn't work for me.
I know.
I know, but I love.
Like, I don't need you to win, but if you lose, that's going to be really bad.
I have Al Dean and Amy from the Bobby Bone Show.
It's a good team.
Thank goodness Jason Aldean is going to help us out.
Morgan number two.
He's a man of great-country music.
Great-crunchy?
Great-country.
I know who you're going.
Words are hard today.
Go ahead.
Alan Jackson.
Yeah.
Good one.
I tell you what to do.
I go downtown by a mercury or two.
I'm crazy about a mercury.
Come on, everybody.
I'm crazy about a mercury.
I'm going to buy me a mercury and cruise it up and down the road.
Hey, good.
Eddie, what we're doing for drafting celebrities that start with A as an apple.
And so far, Eddie, you have Adam.
From the Bible.
Then I'm going with someone who everybody loves.
He's a sweet, sweet man.
He hosts a TV show, Alex Trebek.
Good pick.
It's a good one.
Good one.
Yeah.
Good pick.
Good pick.
Lunchbox.
Okay.
She was the biggest thing in the world.
She can sing like an angel.
Her name is Adela.
Oh, good one.
Hello.
Hello.
It's me.
Okay, so here we go.
We got lunchbox is going with the female pop singers.
Ariana and Adele.
He's dialed in on that.
Eddie's got Adam and Alex Trebek.
Morgan number two has Adam Sandler and Alan Jackson.
Yeah.
That's pretty strong.
If she wins, it's over.
She's pretty strong.
I have Jason Aldeen and Amy from the Bobby Bone.
I kind of love my picks
Good pick
And then Amy has Abraham Lincoln and Jennifer
Aniston
Also solid
Important people
Yeah yeah yeah
Okay where to the last round here
Celebrities to start with A
Lunchbox

Tom, don't even think about him
Do you know who Axel Rose?
Yeah he's not guns and roses dude
Come on man
I'm a Guns and Roses like lifer
Go ahead
Oh man
I'm gonna go with
Someone that just popped in my head
is not on my list, so I don't know if there's
going to be a clip available. We'll go
with Alicia Keys.
Right. Three female pop stars.
Interesting. The guy knows what he wants.
He knows what he wants.
Eddie.
I was going to go with Amy Brown-Bones, but you
took that one because I've been hating, but that is a good
one. I'm going with Anna Kendrick.
Good.
Oh. Okay.
Nothing. I just thought of somebody
else.
Morgan number two,
Go ahead.
Lunchbox went all female.
I guess I'm going all male.
I'm doing Ashton Coucher.
Good one.
Punk.
Hmm?
Punked?
Yeah.
Or that 70 show.
Yeah, yeah.
A ranch.
Oh, yeah.
Is it me now?
Yeah.
It's you.
You've been scratching out a lot over there.
Well, because my list is slowly...
I'm already out.
I'm already out, by the way, so I'm just thinking of people.
I'm just...
Off the dome.
Angel and Joel is on.
option. Ooh, didn't even have her.
I'll give you some options here.
ACDC.
Aziz Ansari.
Good.
Avril Levine.
Yeah.
Skater boy. Adam Levine.
Oh.
Oh, what?
Yeah. I think I chose him before
and lost for something.
You don't always stay away from him.
Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad.
Nice. Oh, yeah.
Aretha Franklin?
Classic.
The one I want to go with, I just don't think is the winner, but I got to go with my...
He still haven't said the one that's in my head, so maybe you're going to say it.
I'll give you affirmation.
AJ McLean. I'm not going to pick it. Who is it? No.
Do you want me to say it?
Yeah. Are we the only ones left?
Yeah. I mean, the one that I'm leaning on, I haven't said yet, but you're not going to pick it.
Go ahead.
Okay. Neil Armstrong.
Oh, I wasn't going to pick that. I don't have that on my list.
Is that strong?
Yeah. I don't think it's wrong.
I don't think you feel good about it because I have another one.
Okay. What is it?
I love to follow on Instagram.
We'll have Andy from Toy Story.
Yeah. Oh, that's cute.
That's a funny one.
Bobby, your pick is very important because I need you to win.
Win. What do you mean?
Elkers are your name.
Yeah.
I'm going to go with Adam Levine from Maroon 5.
That's strong.
It's a solid, the voice, great music.
I don't have one that just takes my heart.
Tattoos.
But I'm going to go Adam Levine.
Amy?
Who is your final A?
Well, I'm between Neil Armstrong and A-Rod.
Alex?
Don't go out like
Rodriguez.
Oh, you might.
You see them
different than the guys do, though.
I know, I don't know him.
All I know is the recent A-Rod
on Instagram.
You're right.
Him and J-Lo
posting workout videos
and I love them.
Version 2.0.
Well, I don't,
people voting may know
1.0 and I don't want it.
Aretha Franklin?
I say her?
Yeah.
All right.
I'm going to go
one small step for man.
Solid.
One giant step for
the world.
You didn't want to go
Abraham?
from the Bible?
I didn't have that.
I just thought about it.
I got an Abraham Lincoln.
You can go all Abraham's.
You can go Abraham from the Simpsons, Abe.
You could go Abraham Lincoln and then Abraham from the Bible.
You can go to all Aves.
Abe Fest 2019.
Okay.
Okay, so here's where we are right now.
We are all A's.
Lunchbox has Ariana Grande, Adele, and Alicia Keys.
You can go vote on these at Bobbybones.com.
Look at all the teams in which team that you like the most.
you vote on. Not just the first pick.
Like, could you imagine
having dinner with Jennifer Aniston,
Abraham Lincoln, and Neil Armstrong?
Think of it that way. But I would say to have dinner with
Amy from the Bobby Bone Show, regardless of
if Aldine and Adam Levine will be worth it enough.
Oh. Like a vote for Amy on
mine is a real vote for
keeping it local. You said you were going to pander.
Yeah. I know, I know. I like to keep the local.
Lunchbox, Ariana,
Adela, Alicia Keys.
Adam from the Bible, Alex Trebek,
Anna Kendrick. Morgan number two, Adam,
Adam Sandler, Alan Jackson, Ashton Coochard.
So strong.
So strong.
I have Al Dean.
You can put Jason Aldine up there.
Amy from the Bobby Bone Show and Adam Levine.
And Abraham Lincoln is Amy's first.
Jennifer Anniston and Neil Armstrong.
Yeah.
They're all going up Bobbybones.com.
Your vote could affect.
Man.
Maybe I went bad with Alicia Keys.
I don't know.
I also thought about Andy Roddick.
I had Alabama.
Oh, good.
Both good.
Andy and Alabama.
I had Abba.
Aaron Rogers, Allison Krause.
I had Captain America.
Did make the list, but go vote.
Morgan number two, you get over there?
Yeah.
All right.
All right, everybody good?
Yeah.
Okay, go vote, bobbybones.com.
We'll get in on that.

Over on the phone in Tampa is James, who decided to call us.
James, what's happening?
Morning.
Morning, what's going on with you?
Hey, my son's a St. Jude patient, four-year-old Caleb,
and I just wanted to thank you guys for going up there.
I think he's cut out.
I think he cut out a little bit.
Your son's in St. Jude right now?
He just finished St. Judeud about a month before you guys were up there.
Well, how do you feel about that? That's great, right?
Yeah, he's doing great. He's no evidence of disease right now. He has a rare form of brain cancer,
but St. Jude absolutely saved his life.
And we really appreciate you guys for going up there and doing all that you do.
We're longtime listeners and fans and first-time caller here.
So I just want to thank you guys for all that you've done.
Oh, man. Congratulations to you guys.
you went in and now you're out and hopefully you guys are able to
you know kind of get back to normal how you feeling about that
yeah we're starting to now I'm actually heading into the hospital for a normal
checkup right now but he's yeah he's doing great we spent 12 months there
and they have one of the only specialists in the U.S. for the type of cancer that he has
so that place is absolutely amazing and the hope that they have is just incredible
well James let me ask you for a second then why to you is St. Jude special
Like what is it that you saw as a parent with a kid that made you go, holy cow, this place is amazing.
Well, when he got diagnosed down here in Tampa, they don't see the type of cancer very often.
And there just wasn't a lot of hope.
It was just really hard-keeping the doctors that were down here.
And we got to St. Jude's thinking that it was going to be a sad or hard place to be.
And just the amount of hope that everyone has that's there, the patients, the doctors, the nurses, the people that work in the kitchen,
and they all have the same amount of hope and treat you the same way.
And it just elevates everybody to really just, you know,
do everything they can to save their child.
So it just makes that place the best place on ours.
Well, congratulations to you.
Tell your son that we said what up.
Definitely will.
Yeah.
Thank you so much.
And we're looking forward to seeing you down here in the Strawberry Festival.
We've met a couple times out of some previous shows,
but I think you're coming down in March or so.
Yeah, we'll get up with you guys when you're down.
We'd love to meet you and your son.
And, you know, we're going to get to the St. Jude Radiosan in the next few weeks,
and hopefully people are hearing this, and they'll want to become a partner and hope, too.
So, hey, congratulations.
We'd love to meet you.
James, call us back right after we get back from the holidays and we'll set up.
We love to meet you and your son.
Is that cool?
And your wife, too, the whole family.
You know, bring everybody.
Cousins, bring them all.
We will.
They all listen to the kids love listening to the kid album.
So we're a family of listening just about every day.
And my wife, Christina, just give a quick shout out to her.
She listens to the podcast.
religiously every single day
every single day. I'm taking
cocktail.
All right, bud. Have a great day.
Awesome. Thank you. You guys too.
So tonight's a big party at my house
and Travis Denning is going to come play
at the house. By the way, here's a clip of
Travis Denning's new song called
After a Few.
He's this.
He's going to come play in
thing. He's on right now.
And by the way, he's out on tour
with Dustin Lynch going on a tour. I'm playing big shows
everywhere, but he's going to come play
my house and it's at the airport. Travis, how you feeling about tonight, bud?
Dude, I cannot wait. In fact, I've got like four different Christmas sweaters that I need to
pick one out and find which one I'm wearing. How weird was they ask when it came to you that
because I'm paying you. Like you know that, right? Right, I know. I'm, and your feed me,
which is like, that's two bonuses. I mean, I can't wait. Great. So how weird was that ask,
though, to go play someone's house? Is that a weird thing? You know, I've, I've done it a few times.
Before I moved to Nashville, I actually did that a lot, especially like around my parents' neighborhood and whatever.
So I'm kind of going back to my roots.
You know, back to my 19-year-old ways.
I'm pretty fired up.
And I get to wear a Christmas sweater, which is fun.
We like going back to the roots, don't we, everybody?
Yeah.
Travis, do you have any Christmas songs planned?
Oh, absolutely.
Jingle Bell Rock.
That's my all-time favorite.
Wait, do you really know how to play that?
Do you really not play Jingle Bell Rock?
Oh, absolutely.
Yes, that's probably my favorite ever.
Like pretty much any Christmas song that's like not a public domain, which I love those.
You know, I love jingle bells, walking into a winterland, but I love Jingle Bell rock.
I might have to do Mariah Carey's all I want for Christmas is you.
Oh, let's, okay, so let's just settle on those two, the Christmas.
He's going to do Jingle Bell Rock, and all I want for Christmas is you.
And then are you going to play like David Ashie Parker from Powder Springs?
Absolutely.
Yeah, we'll play that.
a few and handful of the others.
And honestly, I'll probably get in request mode, too.
I mean, that's kind of when the part of talking about.
And we can Instagram live this, too, and let people.
So Travis Denning will be at my house tonight, playing music.
By the way, we don't have like a stage.
Is it cool if you just sit on a brick?
We've got a brick on the front.
Oh, I love it.
A brick stage is perfect.
Yes, absolutely.
All right, well, here's his upcoming tour dates tonight at my house.
Yes, that's actually, that's the star one right there at the top of the list.
By the way, Travis Denning's from Warner Robbins, Georgia, 26 years old, and plays a guitar, like, he's often compared to, like, a Keith Urban-esque guitar player.
Like, that's how...
Oh, that makes me so happy.
Actually, this past Sunday, I just opened up for Keith Urban and at Mohegan Sun.
And how'd that go?
Oh, dude, it's, like, I try to play it cool.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, oh, it's another show.
I mean, I was on the side the whole time singing every word.
I mean, if you're going to play guitar in country music, how can he not be your hero?
You know what I mean?
And he's just the best.
All right, Travis Denning playing at my house tonight.
You can't get tickets.
No.
Yeah.
Only from scalpers outside.
Somehow lunchbox is going to be outside of my house trying to sell a ticket to get into the place to watch Travis Denning.
It's like, it's just a house key.
He's just selling a house.
All right, hey, I'm going to play after a few.
This is Travis Denning's new song.
You can watch my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, and he will be playing at my house tonight.
We'll Instagram live it.
Travis, good to talk to you, but we'll see you tonight.
Yes, sir.
We'll see you all in.
All right, this is after a few.
Is that going to be, how do we feel about this?
I've never had anyone play at my house before I play this song.
Is that going to be awkward for a second and then it turns into awesome?
Or is this going to be awesome from the beginning?
Awesome.
Awkward.
I think it's be great.
Yeah.
That's going to be awesome.
It's going to feel really good.
Do we stop eating to sit around?
Do we sit around like a campfire or do we, like I'm not sure how to do when somebody's playing in your house?
Let's just feel the vibe.
and then, you know, all of a sudden, when you feel that it's time,
you just look at him and you say, hit it.
And don't have to go, dude, get your guitar, stop eating, and go play.
Like, there's just a lot too deep.
Yeah, let him eat.
And then, yeah.
So is he going to eat with us or?
Or does he eat in the back?
Yeah.

It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
In Arizona, 12-year-old James Harrelson is being called a hero after he saved his dad from
their burning home.
Again, he's 12.
James and his dad of Ryan were having a weekend at their house, but an ember popped out
of their fire pit and started a fire.
both James and Ryan jumped into action
and put the flames out with water
and a fire extinguisher.
They thought they were safe
so they went to bed.
They're like, we did it, small little fire,
we're going to go to sleep.
Luckily, the kid couldn't sleep.
He was awake and he heard an explosion.
The fire had started again
and reached the propane tank.
Oh, wow.
James rushed to wake up his dad,
get out of the house.
Listen, thankfully, he woke back up.
Why do you think he woke up?
Do you think somebody was like...
Judge him?
Like a ghost?
Yeah.
Like an angel?
What are you thinking about that?
Good happen.
James admits that he was scared about his instincts, guided him to do the right thing,
which saved his dad's life, and saved his two.
So he went up, heard the explosion, grabbed his dad, got him out of there,
then the house, almost like a movie went up into flames right after that.
So shout out to this kid here.
He's James, he's 12 years old, and that's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobid Bones Show.
Boney of the Day!
This story comes with us from Montana.
A man always wanted a fire hydrant to put
in his house. He's like, how can I get one of those?
In his house? Yeah. So he decided,
you know what? I'm going to ram my car into the fire hydrant,
knock it over, and take it home.
Oh, so he wanted just
like a souvenir hydrant. He didn't want
one build with the water. Right, right, right. He didn't
want it with the water. He just wanted a souvenir.
So he rammed his car into it, knocked it over,
took it home. The only problem is
his bumper fell off and his license plate was
at the crime scene.
Whoops. Okay, two things coming to mind here.
First of all, this guy's an idiot, right?
But do you know the whole bumper coming off thing
happened with Oklahoma City bombing
like the license plate falling off the truck
that's how they ended up finding like knowing
what it was. Really? Because I think the bomb
went off and it shook so
hard that the license plate
came off. Wow.
Of the of that, so
that's a thing
where that happened and then two had friends
who did a radio bit once where they were acting
like they were stealing an ATM for their house and
they put the rope around the back of an ATM
and then they were going to act like
they were driving off to see what happened and then they had
arrested. Oh, dang. Yeah, you shouldn't do any of that stuff. All those things came to,
yeah, all those idiot things came to mind as lunchboxes to tell him that story. All right? Mike,
do we research that? Because that's what happened, right? I think so. Yeah. I remember that from the
documentary. Because the car had no license plate. That's why he got pulled over. And when they pulled
them over, they were like, oh, and they put him in jail because he had a gun on them. Not because
they blew up the bomb and they ended up finding out that was the case. Wow. Yeah, crazy. And if
here in Oklahoma City, go by the memorial.
One, crazy, sad, but you just learn a lot about that whole situation.
There was a lot of it.
I didn't even know until I went by there.
Anyway, I know this is the bonehead, but that reminds me of all of that.
Is that what's up?
Yeah, I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and my...
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Another round of the 60-second showdown.
Let's go to Stephanie right now.
Stephanie, how are you?
I am wonderful.
How are you guys?
We are really good.
We are going to give you a chance to $100
bucks right now.
You ready?
Yes, I am.
Now, you're going to have your choice of two categories.
The two remaining categories are Friends, the TV show, or history?
Friends.
Are you a big Friends fan fan of it?
Oh, fanatic, yes.
Oh, wow.
She can easily win this one because this category is not that hard,
especially if you're a friends fan.
So I'm going to read you 10 questions.
You have 60 seconds to get them all right.
Got it?
Okay.
Yep.
And if you win, you want.
in a hundred bucks and do you know where that hundred bucks comes from?
Your own pocket.
My own pocket. That's right
because the station won't give me any money to give away.
But here we go.
Timer starts at the end

bye bye bye let me talk to Tim and DC
who's on the phone right now
hey Tim what's happening welcome to the Bobby Bone show
thanks for calling Tim
Hey, studio, how's it going?
Pretty good, man.
What's going on?
All right.
So I heard you guys talking about that 21-year-old that gave a kidney transplant to that little kid.
Today actually marks five months since my sister gave me her kidney.
So I had a kidney transplant as well and just really hit home today.
And then you guys were saying about how big the kidney is.
When a kidney transplant happens, it's the full kidney that goes into the body when you're born with the kidney.
They don't really grow in size at all.
So what you're born with is how big it gets since you die pretty much.
Isn't that crazy the kidney doesn't grow?
Okay.
Because we're talking about that.
The kid kidney and the adult kidney are basically the same.
It's a pretty cool deal.
So I just want to give a shout out to my sister.
Yeah, come on.
Good deal.
Hey, congratulations on that.
Yeah.
And shout out to her.
Shout out to you.
Tim, appreciate that call, bud.
Yeah, thank you, Bobby.
Have a great day, guys.
Yeah, you too.
See you later.

Willie Nelson's bus,

Wow.
Isn't that insane?
The bus odometer rode to all zeros.
A guy named Tony was the driver,

What year was this?
1999.
The tour bus was a

They put another 30,000 miles

The bus got seven miles per gallon.
Dang.
You got a million miles.
Isn't that crazy?
Let me get a little Willie Nelson
on the road again here.
Oh, come on.
We're the best of friends.
So on this day in 1999,
the bus hit one million
Miles. Insane.
And I met bus driver, Tony.
Did you?
Yeah, I've met him before.
You got on Willie's bus?
He wasn't there when he got on the bus.
When he came and played our TV station,
Tony came in and watched the show.
There you go.

You guys can reach out to us at any time
because we do something called the mailbag here.
Bobby's mail bag.
Which, by the way, I was looking at the real mail,
and we got these things from Walmart.
Did you see these?
These personal, check this out.
Our faces are on blankets.
You can basically get anything put up there.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, visit Walmart photo for personalized cards and gifts this holiday season.
Look at this.
Let me see the blanket of me.
Oh.
It's a big old, I didn't make this, it's a big old blanket of my face.
Oh, you're working out at the gym.
I definitely didn't pick that picture.
Wow, your biceps.
That's a funny one, though.
Dude.
Yeah, I didn't know I picked that one.
You should give that to like a girl after a date.
Oh, can you imagine?
Because on my Instagram, there's a picture of me
because I was doing an announcement
that we've opened up another gym.
I have three gyms now.
And I was like holding onto the rings.
And I even sent Amy the picture
and was like, this is a bad picture to put up.
I don't want to look like a goober.
She's like, no, you can do that one.
But now it's a blanket.
What if I was like, hey, baby, good date.
Yeah, here you go.
Stay warm in that one.
And then here's a show one of every one
of their pimping joy shirts.
That's like a picture.
Wow.
So anyway, the whole thing with Walmart.
They sent those in the real mail.
We're opening up the mail bag here.
though now. It looks so cozy.
Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. Visit Walmart photo for personalized
cards and gifts this holiday season.
They're also great conversation pieces.
Here is the mailbag question that we have.
Morning Studio, my name is Whitney, and I heard you guys talking last week about vanity
license plates. I actually just went on a date with the guy who was very nice,
attractive, acting like a gentleman, but he drove a sports car and had a really
obnoxious license plate that read Flexen.
F-L-E-X-X-N on his license plate, flexin.
I guess he likes to work out
Is this a red flag
Signed Whitney
Vanity license plate that says flexen
Amy
I mean
I feel
It's so hard
Say what's on your heart
Yeah I'm not
I'm probably gonna date a guy that has that on his license plate
I don't know that it's a red flag for anything
Other than like
lame
But no
I struggle with saying that
because I don't want to offend anybody in their car right now
that has a license plate similar to that.
So where do you fall on just vanity plates?
I mean, if it's like funny or not taking yourself,
I don't know.
If it's funny, fine.
Or like, I love dogs or something, cute.
But like anything that's...
If you met a guy named Flex and his name is Flexon on his license plate,
would you date him?
No.
Okay.
I'm going to say this.
It's definitely a point in the...
If it bothers you, by the way,
it's a point in the bothers you column.
You only have so many bothers you.
things regardless of what it is that you'll take anyway.
Right.
So if his vanity plate reads flexing, you shouldn't cut him, but that definitely falls into
the bothersome side of things.
So you got to chalk that up into the bothersome side.
Lunchbox?
Man, it's just showing his personality.
What's wrong with having personality and being funny?
Like flexing, like look at my car.
It's a cool car.
So he is showing off.
And he's just letting you know, hey, I'm showing off because I got a nice car.
He's just being honest.
I like it.
But she may not like that, is my whole point.
If she doesn't like it, there's nothing wrong with him doing it.
But if she doesn't like it, she has to consider that.
No, no, he should not do it.
That's where I stand on this.
Morgan, too, what if you, you're dating?
What if you met a guy who had a nice car, but his life place had flexing?
There's probably going to be some other red flags that follow that.
So you're just seen as a gateway, that's a gateway red flag.
Yeah, yeah, there's probably some other things that are coming if that's the beginning.
So I probably wouldn't date him.
So you're like Amy, like that's enough for you not to date him?
Yeah.
I mean, obviously he's a great guy and that's like his only thing that's off.
Yeah, I'll still date him.
But I have a feeling there's other red flags coming.
But if you continue to date him, he's going to change the license plate, right?
Yeah, you would owe.
Yeah.
What?
Oh, wow.
Yes, in the relationship, that's one of the number one things.
If that's the only thing wrong, like Morgan said, and maybe it's everything else is great,
then my number one goal would be to get him to get some numbers, just random numbers and letters.
So you're going to date him hoping to change him.
Guys, that doesn't happen.
That never works.
But she's, like Morgan, number two said,
it could be the only thing that's wrong about him.
It's probably a red flag for other things.
But if not, then maybe there's hope.
And you revert him back to normal.
To 302 GPL.
Yes.
Okay.
Well, listen, I don't think you don't date him because of that.
I think it's definitely something to look at.
Lunchbox says marry him and you two say, probably not.
Yeah.
We'll put it on our Facebook page.
You guys can respond up there.
That's the mailbag.
Thank you very much.
And that was.
Bobby's Mailbag.
And Morgan number two, if people want to reach out to us, what do they do?
Mailbag at Bobbybones.com.
The Babi Bow Show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So Chuckie Cheese started phasing out their animal band at some locations,
and now they're officially done with them all.
Wow.
No Chuckie Cheese will have the animatronic band, which is such a cool part.
So cool.
My childhood.
Well, as we were kids, now they just look like clunky old.
They have like three hinges.
If you get too close, you can really hear them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like, they had already phased them out of 80 locations,
and there's 520 left, but not anymore.
And they're going to be replacing the bands with a dance floor that lights up as kids move on it.
So at least they're getting kids active.
And, yeah.
That's probably about time, though.
Those animals made, like, four moves.
And then we're like, old, old, old school.
Yeah.
They could put the characters up there with people in the costumes and play music if they had enough of those, you know, mascot uniforms.
Yeah.
That would be okay.
And that dance floor is pretty cool.
The Chucky Cheese by my house already has it and the kids love it.
Oh, the light of dance floor?
Yeah.
More so than the animatronic.
No, kids never looked at the animatronics.
Like the dance floor, there were probably 50 kids on the dance floor at one time.
So I guess it's just nostalgic to us.
But, yeah, there'll still be an employee dressed up as Chuckie Cheese to take pictures for birthday parties.
No, no, that's Chuckie cheese.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It's the real mouse.
Relax.
Making stuff up.
All right, what else?
Okay, so heads up.
Majority of people say that they would rather get a heartfelt gift.
than an expensive one.
So, I mean, think like framed photos, handwritten notes, a photo book,
something that took some time and effort or thought over like how much money you spent.
All right, thoughts, Amy?
Well, this made me think of something I thought of for you for Christmas, Bobby,
and I hope you love it.
You're going to write me a note?
Well, what do you get a guy that has everything, you know?
Something else.
A handwriting note.
I hope you love it.
Yeah, I don't know.
What do you think about this?
I feel like you're pretty thoughtful with gifts.
Yeah, I like to.
I'd like to put a lot of thought into them.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I had to, the one thing I've had a bunch,
like I bought, I told you guys,
I bought Morgan number two's a gift
a long time ago.
It's taken a long time to come in
and I had to make a change to it recently
which set it back about three weeks.
Oh.
Still gonna be in time
because I'm way ahead of the game.
I do think, as far as thought goes,
it's a pretty good one.
I'm on yours right now, Amy.
I'm right in the middle of that process.
Oh, you're making it with your hands?
Mm-mm.
No.
What?
sculpting it.
You whittling it out of wood.
Yeah, yeah.
You like thoughtful gifts or expensive gifts, Amy?
Thoughtful.
Lunchbox?
I'll take expensive.
Eddie?
I like thoughtful gifts.
Except for that Peloton you got me last year.
It was pretty baller.
That was thoughtful and expensive.
A little bit of both, maybe.
How about that?
I told you guys, I'm just donating to charity in you guys' name this year.
That's thoughtful.
I thought you said you were just telling Amy.
But Amy's a different.
And Morgan number two.
So that's just me and lunchbox?
bucks? No. It's okay. We love charity.
Okay, yeah, good. There you go. One year for Christmas you
did, you bought a bunch of, like,
animals through Heifer International.
Oh, yeah. Like, he gave me a printout piece of paper
of, like, all these animals, like, they were donated
in my name. Like, a camel or something. It was awesome.
You guys have enough stuff. That's true.
Yeah, you have enough stuff. Let's do things
for others. Okay, and I'll do things for others
in your name. Thank you. You're welcome.
All right, what else? Okay, so you might be
booking a lot of holiday travel.
And here's the deal.
When you search for flights a bunch on your computer,
airlines like use those cookies to like know what's being searched a lot
and then they'll hike up the prices.
So what you got to do is maybe use like Google Chrome's incognito
when you're searching flights.
So that way you're in a private browsing mode
and your data isn't out there and prices don't go up.
I've seen that happen.
If I've searched for a flight like three days in a row
but I'd ever, you know, pull the trigger and buy it,
I see it go up.
And it's way before the time that it should go up.
You can always clear your cookies, too, instead of getting a new browser.
But then when you clear your cookies, you lose a lot of other stuff that you've been attached to already.
But yeah, I did see that too.
And it's not like a crazy amount of money.
But again, it's $25.50 or so.
Man.
And they know you want that flight so they have the ability to mark it up a bit.
Yeah.
And if it's family travel time, then you've got three or four members in your family, that's $25.50 for person.
It all adds up.
That's true.
All right.
There you go.
Yeah.
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So shout out to this Uber driver who dropped off someone that was riding with her.
Then pulled into a gas station.
She went a little snack.
And she saw two teenage boys acting like weird, like something's up.
So she was like, hey, is everything okay?
And one of the boys is like, he just got shot.
He got shot in the foot.
So she ran over.
She's a mom.
So she said she went into mom mode, grab the belt off the boy and tied it.
around his ankle because he had been shot in the foot.
Turniquet.
Turnicot.
Yes.
So, and then by the time, while she did that, the other boy called 911,
then paramedics arrived and, like, she helped save his life because, or his foot, at least.
Well, you can bleed out.
Mm-hmm.
I guess that's true.
You could do that.
The teenager's going to be okay, but quick thinking by this Uber driver.
I wonder if she had any experience at all with wounds.
I know because I'm like, I know that I should make a tourniquet, but I don't know that I would do that right away.
I probably give him CPR.
Like, no, he doesn't need that.
I'll do the wrong thing that I've seen on TV.
Just in case y'all ever need one, or I need it and you're with me,
I have a tourniquet in my car, in my console, okay?
Like, what do you mean?
I don't know if my husband put it there.
It's like a legit tourniquet.
I would just take off, like, my sleeve and tie around you.
Or your belt.
Well, you won't need to if you're in my car.
I have a tourniquet.
Amy's going to lose time explaining where her tourniquet is,
more so than me just using the one that I have built on me.
Okay, that's a good story, though.
Shout out to her. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Boll.
All right, over to Amy.
Let's get the Morning Corny Thanksgiving edition.
The Morning Corny.
What do you call an athletic pumpkin?
What do you call an athletic pumpkin?
A jocco lantern.
Okay, that was pretty funny.
There it is.
Coming with that.
There you go.
Thank you very much.
Hey, don't forget.
Oh, there it is.
That was the morning corny.
We're almost done with Thanksgiving ones, though, right?
I hope so.
We're really struggling with Thanksgiving.
I mean, I want to go back to Thanksgiving after Dart, maybe.
Y'all only like them if they're risque.
Bobby boom!
Amy and I went to a charity event last night, and, you know, you go and you hang out,
and there's a lot of socializing.
And then there's the silent auction where there's a table.
and at the table there's all these items to bid.
And there really wasn't anything that I was super drawn to,
except I thought it would be fun
because Charles Kelly from Lady Annabellum
had put his house as Beach House up.
And he was like, you can come stay here for a weekend.
And I thought it would be hilarious to win that.
So I go and I say, Amy, you want to go in halves
and get this Charles Kelly Beach House?
She's like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And so I go and I sign up for the auction.
Let's just say the value was like $10.
So I signed up for like $5.
By the way, it was more than that.
But so I signed up for like five bucks.
Half of what was up there.
Nobody was signing up.
And so I'm like, boy, got this in the bag.
In the bag.
Like, this is easy.
I go over to Amy, I'm like, you and your husband and me and some girl I'm going to end up dating eventually?
We're going to go.
It was for two couples.
We're going to chill at the beach house.
Yeah.
And the whole funny thing was we weren't going to tell Charles Kelly.
We're just going to get there.
And then I was going to text and be like, I'm at your house, dude.
So we're there.
And then as the night goes, this one guy who's a doctor goes over and just like,
barely bids over me.
Well, then I start to get a little competitive.
And I'm like, ooh, I'll show him.
So I bid over him.
He bids over.
And so we were trying to get over to this piece of paper.
Again, all for a good cause.
We're trying to get over to this piece of paper
when the other person wasn't looking and sign up
and hopefully the other person would sleep on it
and not realize.
So right before I was leaving,
because I wanted to get back and see if Lauren,
Elena made it throwing dancing with the stars,
which she did.
She's in the finals next week, which is great.
And I'm in the lead.
I had to jump it up a few times
and I keep telling Amy
are you okay to move up
because they're splitting this
she's like yeah yeah
so I go home
I'm in the bed
it's like 930
Amy calls me
in a little bit of a panic
are you awake
and I'm like yeah
what's up she goes
this guy that's the doctor
he just bit over us again
and he told me
that you said you would not bid against him
if he bid up
and I was like
he was hovering
he was hovering
I was like outbid him again
yeah
yeah and so it's
awkward for me, so I'm on the phone with Bobby, and I'm outbidding, so I'm riding down
Bobby Bones, and I do like another bit above his. And he's like, he told me he wasn't
going to do it. So then I feel in this awkward position where these people are staring at me
and they really want this beach house so that I'm like, you know what? And they're guilting Amy
too. Yes. Bones, did you say anything to him at all? We told me that Bobby made a piece of
paper, but no. He said Bobby made a deal with him that he wouldn't go over a certain amount. And I had
already taking him over that amount.
And so, but then, again, all for a great cause, so I don't really care.
I felt like I was on the phone telling an auctioneer.
Yeah.
I was like, go up higher, go up higher.
Yes.
Well, then they kind of mislead Amy.
Yeah.
And they're like, no, I know Bobby.
He's, I didn't.
I came in this morning thinking.
I didn't know the guy until I met him at the paper last night.
Yeah.
I literally go, this morning, I said, Bobby, how did you know those?
Where do you know those guys from?
Bobby goes, I don't, I don't know them.
One was a Titans player.
One was like a doctor in town.
I was like, I don't know them.
They were nice enough guys.
And they sort of guilting Amy going,
Bobby just text Charles and go stay at his house.
You should let us have this.
In the end, we didn't win.
Because they guilted and tricked Amy into it.
But we drove that price up for a great donation and they paid.
I didn't know that we didn't win.
I was kind of hoping to come in today and Amy like, we got it.
I know.
I was going to be like, pack your bags.
We're going to 38.
But we did that all night last night.
I know.
And didn't win.
It was the only thing I was bad.
bidding on, so like a little bit of the competitive part of me feels like a loser.
Oh, I was bidding on something super cool for my friend's birthday that's next week,
and I was really hoping to get it, but that thing got out of control.
I had to back away.
It was a good event last night, though, we went.
Me, Amy, our new executive producer, his wife, Abby, who works our phones, Steve Mokler,
Gracie Mocler, we all set at a table, and, you know, we're just part of a great night,
raising a bunch of money for the homeless here.
So, yeah, it was good, but we didn't win.
That ended the stories, we didn't win.
Yeah.
Shout out to Bobby's new friends.
The doctor was going to be at the beach.
He's a shoulder specialist, too.
I should have him fix my shoulder now for free.
Yeah, the one you messed up on nursing the start?
Because I was like, hey, man, hurt my shoulder.
And he was like, what happened?
And I just, disoia huts.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things

Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data

then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple,

Mike D and I are over here parsing,
dancing with the stars last night.
Lauren made it of the finals.
And she's in the final four.
I think she has a shot to win it.
I think that Hannah from the Bachelor
is probably the favorite
because she has so much dance experience.
Lauren of the four has never danced.
The other three all trained dancers.
It's crazy.
And so we're going to have to really come together
on Monday one final time
to try to get Lauren Elena in there.
But it's the girl with no dance experience
versus three season dancers.
So,
I was so proud of her to make it.
I sent her a message last night.
Just, I'll be there.
I'm going to go.
That's awesome.
Since Lauren's in the finals, I'm going to go and sit in the crowd and root for her.
So, yeah, it was great.
James Vanderbyt got eliminated, which is crazy because he was the best all season,
and the judges cut him.
Couldn't believe it.
Oh, I'm shocked right now.
They should have cut the Fifth Harmony Girl.
Although she's a better dancer, the people kept putting her in the bottom two all year.
Yeah.
They should have, James Vanderbik was the best dancer all season, like, well-liked.
He didn't have a good run last.
night. He had some family issues.
I think he said his wife had a miscarriage in the week.
Wow. Oh, my.
Yeah. And so he, I don't know if he wasn't able to practice as much, but they said to keep
dancing. And he didn't score well in his first dance. And then the judges cut him,
which I was floored by. They put the girl in the finals who'd been in the bottom three,
like every week. But whatever, James Vanderbeak was eliminated. And in that episode,
he announced his wife had suffered a miscarriage over the weekend.
Oh, my gosh.
How do you cut him?
He'd been the best all week, and he had a tragic story.
Terrible.
Yeah.
So, yeah, we got to vote for a Lauren next week.
Okay, this is getting like, this is down to the wire.
Again, she's representing the little man.
No dance experience.
Everybody else got like 10 plus years of the dance experience.
Yeah.
So that'd be Monday.
And I won't be in studio.
I'll be working from California.
So I don't know.
I don't know we're going to do that.
Get her on the phone.
I don't know how to work stuff when we're not in this room.
but yeah that's that's Monday anyway I'm proud of her
so Amy came to us about a month or so ago
and said her two kids were not able to get into the school they wanted to get into
now English is their second language as they were adopted from Haiti
and they couldn't get into the school because they couldn't speak on the level of their grade
they couldn't test into their grade and the school really wanted them to be in the right
grade for their age so you're like all right I have to move and go to a school where they
live that has a good public school English
for a second language program. Yes.
And there's like a county
nearby, yes, that has good ESL
programs at their public schools.
So it's just a move we got to make
for them. So she finds a house.
Yeah. She's like it tells me off
air, I think I found a house. When the lunchbox
comes in and it goes, I think I find a house, I'm moving to.
Same house! Holy crap!
And all the houses of all the world,
they find the same house. And so it gets
a little bit testy with you too.
Even off the air, they're like, it's awkward.
A little bit.
And so you guys have been looking in the same neighborhood.
You both kind of decided, okay, if the other one gets this house,
I want to have another house just in case.
Yes, we have to have a backup.
You go out this past weekend.
There was another open house,
but we actually had an appointment before the open house.
So we were trying to get in, get the appointment done
before all the people just start showing up.
So I'm touring the house and my kids and we're like,
okay, we've got to hurry up and get out of here
because all the people are going to start coming in.
So we're walking out.
and I don't recognize the car
because I don't know exactly what lunchbox's wife drives
but it's an SUV
and it looks like lunchbox
but I don't I can't have enough time to decide
because whoever's in the car they ducked down
like the human inside of it looks like lunchbox
yes but then all the sudden
they're ducking down
like I don't know who else in there
but they're hiding from me
and I was like oh my goodness
he's here to look at this house
at the open house and now he's hiding from me
like why wouldn't he want me to see that he's here
Like it just didn't make sense.
But then also he's avoided me at the grocery store before.
Like he's come on airman like, I ran for Mamey at the store because I didn't want to talk to or whatever.
So I just, I mean, I wasn't going to chase after him.
I mean, first of all, I wasn't 100% sure it was him.
So I didn't want to go knock on the car window and be awkward and be like, hey, lunchbox.
And it'd be somebody else.
So we just got in our car and left.
And I'm like 99.9.9% of sure it was him.
Was it you?
Oh, it was me.
Why did you do that?
Well, first of all, the open house started at two.
Yeah.
I roll up at $150 and we're sitting there.
We're like, we don't want to go in early and opens the front door and these two little children run out.
And right behind him's Amy and I'm like, duck!
And I tell them, and my wife and I, we just get down because.
Are you at her SUV?
Yeah, we're in her SUV.
And my whole thing is, how is Amy at the open house early?
That was my first thought.
Like, how is that possible?
Because it doesn't start until two.
Your husband?
No, we made an appointment.
I was just, it was a house we wanted to look at anyways.
I didn't even know there was really an open house,
but our realtor was making appointments for us all day at different places.
And that was an appointment.
She was like,
we should get in and get out before the open house starts.
So first of all,
why don't you want to see her?
Well,
it's just,
it's awkward because I don't want her to,
like maybe if she knows that I'm interested in that house,
she likes it a little bit more.
So maybe she's walking out that front door going,
eh,
it's okay.
But then she sees me and she's like,
you know what?
I really like this house.
We got to get it.
I don't think that's kind of her,
her M.O to find something you like and like it more.
I think anything gets the opposite.
If I had to just sat in the front yard,
I think she'd liked it less.
Yeah, I just, I don't know.
My instinct was hide.
You always hide from her.
You never want to talk to her anywhere.
Like even at the grocery store, you hit from her.
That was one time.
He was in a hurry.
I was in a hurry.
Maybe I would talk to.
So you had time to hide?
I mean, I guess I get it.
Like at the grocery store, yes,
I can end up talking and take up a little bit of time.
But then at the house thing,
I don't know, just like getting awkward.
Now it's like, I feel like I need.
need to start checking in with every house that goes, I mean, really, I think, honestly,
we both want to be in that neighborhood.
Yeah, because it seems like the same area.
The perfect neighborhood.
And there's not that many houses that come up on the market.
So what's happening here?
What are you going to do?
Well, the one that lunchbox and I both really, really like, it just needs a lot of work.
So before I commit, I want to see if any other things just, you never know.
Every day's different.
A new house could come up.
And I don't want to have, I just don't have that good feeling of like we should go for
go for it because I don't want to have buyers remorse because like it's always going to be the
thought though with anything okay like I should wait just in case that's always going to exist
because we're having to make this decision so like fast I want to I'm still trying to like be patient
with it so I don't know we're we have a realtor coming to take pictures of our house today
and I guess we're putting our house on the market and if it sells we'll move into an
apartment in that area until we find something for sure but don't you have to get your
kids into that school soon yeah yeah that's why we'll live in an apartment we already went
and toured an apartment too. Two bedroom. The kids think it's great because the apartment has a pool.
They're like, can we live here forever? Like they could, like, and I was like, well, you know,
we're only getting a two-bedroom apartment because I don't want to waste money on rent for everybody
to have a bedroom. So like Stevenson will sleep in the living room. Stasier will get home room.
Like I've already got the apartment thing figured out. And I thought the kids are going to be like,
oh, this is like, I don't know, but they love it. They think it's great. There's a pool table.
So like in the community room. So they just feel like they have a massive house.
house now with a bunch of other people that live there.
Well, good luck, both of you. We'll see.
Stop being awkward with each other.
Yeah. Say hi to me.
Well, quit trying to steal my stuff.
True.
There's no stealing.
You just happen to be looking at the same.
There's no way to hide from each other either.
Because then it's awkward for me because you two both couldn't.
Like, won't you boggy's hiding for me?
I know. I like pulled Bobby in his office that first day after one.
I was like, I can't believe this.
I can't believe he's looking at the same house.
Who hides?
He does.
I didn't want her to know I was in the same house.
Again.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Amari Cooper plays wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys,
and he wanted to give back to the community.
So we got with the local charity,
and they wanted to surprise a military family.
So the charity and sleep number beds filled up a truck with a new bed,
gifts, toys, all sorts of things,
and showed up at their front door and said,
knock, knock, surprise, look at all your free stuff.
Oh, wow.
Game a new bed from Sleep Number, a bunch of toys, gifts,
gifts and they just said thanks for being in the military
wanted to give back. That's amazing.
That's awesome. Yeah.
There, that's what it's all about. Thank you very much.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
I just saw my Instagram one year ago today. I wanted
Dancing with the Stars. That's pretty cool.
Yeah, November 19th.
You remember that date?
Yeah, I do. I guess I was there.
Yeah. That's crazy. That audio of
We should pull that.
Let's kind of do a little celebration.
By the way, Lauren's in the finals.
We got to vote for her next week.
She's the only one with that any dance experience.
And she's also our girl, country music girl.
So we got to vote for Lauren next Monday.
Renee in Boston is on the phone.
Renee, appreciate you calling the show.
What's going on?
Hey, Bobby.
Hey, studio.
What's up?
What's happening?
So I just want to say, last year,
I went to Kennedy Center Honor Award ceremony that you were a presenter at.
and I knew that of your show, but I hadn't really listened to it.
And it's coming up on New York since I really, like, started listening to you.
And I also want to say, like, your show is really great.
And it's nice to have kind of, like, a voice of normalcy and reason on some mainstream media show.
Like, it's awesome.
So I just want to say, like, keep doing what you're doing.
And I love you out here in Boston.
So please keep it up.
I appreciate that.
Phone's cutting out a little bit.
But, yeah, about a year ago, too, I want to be doing what you.
went and did, I remember right after Dancing with the Stars,
Reba had asked me to go and present to her at the Kennedy Center Honors.
Wow.
Really one of the most nervous I've ever been performing material
because I go out and have a bunch of Reba jokes that I've never tested in front of anyone.
And this is the truth, too.
I go out and they're like, hey, do 10 minutes of comedy.
Don't worry, there's only senators and Supreme Court justices and it's only on CBS.
And I'm going, all right, all right.
I'm not scared to do it, but I'm going, well, this is going to be nerve-wracking.
So work on all this material.
Mike D and I sit down and we're going over jokes.
And I walk out and I'm doing stand-up.
And I feel like I get a solid 6.8 to 7 on the like scale.
Laughs are pretty good, right?
Not great.
I didn't kill, but it definitely was pretty good considering it was stuff I've never worked before.
And then about a month and a half later, they put it on television.
And Gloria Stepan's hosting it and she's like, all right, to start the show.
You know, he's a committee.
he's a radio host
and you just want dancing with the stars
here he is.
Bobby bones and I go out
and I'm doing my jokes
and I'm watching back on TV
guys I think they pumped the laughter up
Mm-hmm
They ever tell the story?
Yeah
Yeah I'm watching it
And I'm going
They weren't laughing that hard
I think they turned it up a little bit
Because it wasn't a lap track
I just think they took the volume
And let's raise
The lavers a little bit
So yeah
That's what she was talking about
The Kennedy Center
You're okay with that right?
Of course
Yeah
If I'm on the cover of a magazine
They want to Photoshop me
Photoshop me
I got no problem with that.
Let her rip, Tater Chip.
Let me have it.
Give me the fake laughs.
Give me the muscles.
I'm up for all that stuff.
So fake laughs are like the comedian's version of Photoshop.
I'm not sure they did it because, again, I did okay to pretty good.
I said I did pretty good to good.
But I remember watching going, oh, I didn't get laughs like that.
I think they took some from an Aziz comedy special on Netflix and just kind of throw it up there.
But that was really a cool thing that Reba asked me to do.
And I remember doing some of the jokes.
Reba is sitting right in front of me.
and I'm telling jokes about her.
And she's laughing and waving and sheriff sitting beside her.
It was just a whole crazy thing.
I'm from Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
You don't get to, one, even go to Washington, D.C.,
and then two, you don't get to go and do the Kennedy Center
and then it'd be on TV.
So, yeah, it was real fun.
I appreciate you bringing that memory back up.
Good.
You can go vote on our draft at bobbybones.com.
You know, Eddie, you're terrible.
Oh, what's up?
You're not doing good.
Yeah, I kind of saw the results there.
I'm not, no one's really voting for me.
If Morgan number two wins, and right now she is in the lead, pretty substantially now, it's over.
Substantially, oh, which I want to support Morgan number two.
I don't want it to be like I'm not supporting her.
We're the only two in the race.
But I'm not going to win, so I feel like if I throw my vote somewhere, it maybe should be to Bobby because I made his list.
That's true.
But I don't want to not support Morgan number two.
And then also if she wins, it's over.
Yeah, we don't want this segment of you.
She's at 34%. I'm at 29%.
and you guys are in the teens.
We're way back there.
No, Eddie, Eddie, you're at 5%.
I'm not even with the teens, Eddie.
So, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So check it at, bobbybones.com.
Vote on whoever you think should win the draft.
They're all celebrities that start with A.
Have Jason Aldeen, Amy from the Bobby Bone Show,
and Adam Levine.
Morgan number two has, and I'm saying on John Jackson,
Eric, Ashton Coucher.
Anyway.
Yeah.
But if she wins, this is over?
It's over, yeah.
We take a break.
Although, if people want us to take a break,
they can also vote.
If they want.
Yeah, whatever they want.
Anything you'd like to say, Morgan, number two?
Yes, I would really like to win the bell,
and I don't like that people are not helping me do that
because you're making them feel bad about it.
I'm not making it feel bad about anything.
Yes.
Time for Amy to sing the top three songs in country music.
These are the biggest songs as of last week when the radio charts hit.
And sometimes she goes, I don't know that song.
Yeah.
And so here you go, the top three songs this week.
At number three, Amy, please sing Thomas Rett, remember you young.
I know this one.
I just need to help with the beat.
Remember you young.
Remember me?
I just want to remember you young.
Here's Thomas, remember you young.
I'll always remember you young.
Yeah, but you didn't get that point.
I know.
And number two, Old Dominion, one-man band.
I don't want to be a one-man band.
That's good.
And then number one song this week is Luke Combs,
Even though I'm leaving.
Even though I'm leaving.
Yeah, you get that point.
There you go.
Yeah, that's good.
And the number one pop song is from Post Malone.
Circle.
Do you know that one?
Circle.
Of life.
Hit that one.
Those are the big songs now.
Did you see the list of marriage habits?
and they're like, are these marriage habits normal
or are they unacceptable?
And I'll read them to you, tell me in your marriage.
Okay, I haven't seen the list.
By the way, if you're new to this show, I am not married.
I've never been married.
So, and I live alone, no kids.
I do not fall on this list.
Okay.
Are you ready?
Do you do it?
Okay.
Do you pass gas in front of your husband?
No.
84% people say yes.
Okay.
You don't at all.
No, and he doesn't either.
If you do as an embarrassing?
I don't know that I have.
Ever?
How long have you been married?
What?
13 years.
If he, if I have, he hasn't noticed.
He doesn't either, by the way.
And I feel like if he was more likely to do that, I would be fine with it.
Because my family was fine with that.
He just grew up not that way.
So it's more of a him thing than you?
It's more of a him thing.
Like, I also, I mean, I don't know.
He might be like, oh my God, I'm not attracted to you anymore.
All right, marriage habits, normal or unacceptable.
Can you flirt with other people?
No.
Flirt?
No.
Only 24% of people said that would be okay.
Most said no like you.
I'm just assuming.
I'm not saying that neither.
or guilty of not flirting or flirting, but we don't have like an agreement like, okay, we agree
we can flirt with people. Can you pee with the door open? Yes. Yeah, most people, 77% of people
agree with you. They say it's fine. They didn't ask about doing the other thing with the door open.
No. That's a no. No, but I have friends that do and like, I don't get that.
Is it okay to talk while you do that one? Number two. No, because you're not even, you're not
hanging out together. Most people say yes. 80% of people say yes. Wow.
Is it okay to tell white lies to make each other feel better?
Yes.
Go ahead elaborate.
Well, I think sometimes he tells me that I'm fine and I'm not crazy and I know that I am.
Or like that certain things look good on me.
Like he can be complimentary when I'm like, no way.
There's no way.
But we also can be honest with each other.
Like you should go change.
That doesn't look good.
Or I think that you're about to start your period.
stuff like that.
Get two more.
Is it okay to fantasize
about being with someone else?
No.
But I mean, no.
No?
I guess I'm trying to understand
like do you give each other permission?
Like it's okay if you want to
If we're hooking up later
and you want to think about somebody else?
Go ahead.
No.
Okay, but would you do it and feel bad?
Yes.
You would feel bad?
Yes.
Even if you're not really doing it
as just imagination.
I understand the whole amount.
That's why I was cautious with my answer.
I understand the whole imagination and sometimes controlling your thoughts, but you can make your
thoughts go away. You can make your thoughts, but yeah. So you say it's not a...
I mean, we haven't had that conversation, so I don't know. Have it today. Yeah, I'll report back to you,
but I'm assuming he would agree with me that the answer is no. Most people say it's not okay to fantasize
about someone else. Yeah. Do you think it's okay? I'm fantasize about everyone. I have nobody.
I'm fantasizing about anybody at this point. This human, no more of human. Yeah, okay.
Finally, is it normal to have long stretches at dinner when no one says anything?
Oh, I don't like that.
I don't like that at all.
And if we are guilty of it sometimes, and I will say, we'll both realize it and be like, whoa, remember how we said we were never going to be these people that like go out to eat and don't even talk to each other or sit there and silence?
And I get it.
Sometimes you need silence.
But like, I don't, I don't want to be, we have, you have to work on that.
I feel like it's easy to turn into those people sometimes.
We just don't want to be, so.
Is it normal to have long stretches of dinner?
No, not for us because we don't let it happen.
Okay.
And I'm glad that we both have, we communicate about it.
Like, we're not going to let that happen.
Most people say yes, it's normal.
Wow.
I don't like to go long stretches.
It didn't say like to, but is it normal to?
The answer is still going to be the same.
Mm-hmm.
Same for me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, because I change it.
I'll get a couple things I'll throw for you.
I got a text just now.
Hey, Bobby, you keep telling everybody the game is over if Morgan number two wins.
I know you're competitive, but aren't you supposed to be the nice guy?
Listen, I'm never, I'm not the nice guy.
Most people would stop thinking I'm the nice guy.
He's not.
I'm just me.
He's really mean.
You're not mean, but you're not nice guy.
You have a good heart.
You're competitive, though.
You give.
There's no, there's no nice, I'm not trying to be a nice guy.
I just come and try to be as honestly me as possible.
Right.
And when it comes to you winning this game, it's not like you're just going to be like,
oh, okay, since I'm nice.
Beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's not it at all.
And no, I'm not the nice guy.
I hate that.
You're like, you're the nice guy.
No, no, no.
I'm a nice guy.
I'm a good person, but I'm not the nice guy.
I definitely have my edges.
For sure.
Mike, let me see an update to that poll when you can.
You get a second there.
The other thing is I do have a clip of Amy's reaction to when one year ago today I won
Dancing with the Stars.
Now, to set this up, Amy's in the crowd on the side and they're about to announce it.
And we're not supposed to have our phones out.
Yeah, they're like put the phones up.
and Amy lays her phone down on the table.
I'm like holding, yeah, down by the chair.
And it's like looking up at her.
So here's a clip.
And that was it.
Really, it was a cool night.
Emmett Smith came up to me and we talked for a long time.
We were all so shot.
Like that shock is genuine because we obviously believed in Bobby
and wanted Hidden to win and wanting something
and then thinking that it's really going to happen is different.
And we are so proud of you.
It was super cool.
Erica and Florida.
You're on the Bobby Bone Show.
Appreciate you calling and hanging out with us this morning.
Hi.
What's happening?
I was just calling in.
Thanks for doing this.
I've been listening to you guys for, I don't know, I think my son Teddy and I've
been listening for like six months and hooked.
And I had a save your number because I'm driving my son to daycare.
But light flirting, I think, is okay.
My husband and I kind of have a rule where before I had brain cancer,
I was working and recruiting, and we would go to social events, and I would notice him give like an eye to somebody,
like not a flirty eye, but like just a lot of attention.
And I think that that's normal and natural.
And to, you know, block that part of your personality, I think would be damaging.
And obviously you can take it too far.
But I think that if you can control that and it kind of helps with a business, I would think.
Amy, your thoughts?
Helps with what business?
That was what she did for work.
Oh, for work.
Oh.
No, I mean, I think, like I said, I, I'm sure my husband and I are both guilty of doing it and I'm not saying, but we just don't have a conversation or agreement of being like, hey, I'm cool with flirting.
And we're cool with flirting and we'll just flirt and it's fine as long as it doesn't go further than flirting.
Like, I don't, yeah.
When I was waiting tables, I flirted with every old lady that came through.
Because there's that.
It's part of the business.
I flirted it with every over 75-year-old.
I'd be like, what's up with you, young lady?
How are you doing today?
Boy, they love it out.
They're great.
They like poke me on the butt too.
And I welcomed it.
Wow.
Yeah, they like slap me on the butt.
And I'd be like, now don't get naughty, Gertrude.
Whatever it takes, you got to hustle it up.
Got to hustle it up.

Tonight's a big dinner party at my house.
I mean 20 or so you folks are coming over.
Food will be good.
Travis Denning.
Let's play a little Travis Denning song here.
He's going to come play,
paying him to come play music.
That'd be a good little treat for everyone.
Perfect.
The question is,
what time is the party over?
Oh, well, it starts at six.
I figure eight.
Yeah, that's what I assumed eight.
I assumed eight.
Everybody, like, walking out at eight.
I would say eight-thirty.
Really?
Whoa.
Okay.
Mr. Late night.
Oh.
Party animal.
I would say around 8.30.
Do I need to, like, throw up a,
Flare.
New host, too this.
No, we'll all be looking at the clock going,
don't want to be the last one here,
because we'll get...
No, Eddie will always be the last one at every party.
That's true.
And I just don't want to drop food on my way out again.
I'm not taking anything.
Amy had carried so many leftovers out of the last party
that she, like, stumbled and then grabbed the door,
and then just, food went everywhere.
And then she had to pay for my rug.
You didn't have to, but you paid for my rug to be cleaned.
Yeah, of course.
And that wasn't cheap.
So, but tonight, there's like 20 or so of us.
They're going to be there.
It should be good.
Food should be good.
We got the cheesecake for lunchbox, the pumpkin pie for everybody else.
Not God, made.
Oh, yeah, made.
We're making it last night at the house.
Got it ordered or put in.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, there's no got.
Did you make it once?
No.
I was there while everybody was making it.
Somebody was probably like, where's the can of pumpkin?
And Bobby's like, oh, here it is.
Don't be a hater.
Because last night it was like, I love cheesecake too.
And they were like, well, we're doing with the fruit and the cheesecake.
I was like, well, just put it on there.
So we put the fruit on the cheesecake last night.
Which kind of fruit?
Well, you'll see tonight.
Did you cut the fruit?
I did not.
But I did buy the fruit.
I bought everything.
It's going to be fun.
So really 8.30?
Wow.
830 late.
Raymondo, you and your girl excited about coming?
Hell yeah, dude.
It's going to be awesome.
Should we bring some white claw?
Are you bringing white claw?
My chick asked about wine.
I said you're fully stocked.
I mean, I have a lot.
All the awards and stuff, you've always saved all the bottles.
You got Dom, wine, everything.
What I would suggest is.
does you guys just show up with nothing?
And I'll probably send you home with stuff anyway.
Because I'm like, I mean, Eddie, usually takes all the alcohol home.
It's true.
If it's left over, it's mine.
I'm like, Eddie, I'm not going to drink it.
So he's like, all right, beep, back the truck up.
Are you going to do a toast?
Should you do a toast?
Are you going to be thinking of it?
No.
That happens organically.
I'm not saying that I'm not going to do it, but I haven't thought about it.
Oh, okay.
Sure, I'll do a toast.
Yay.
But it's some people's first time ever to come to the house.
Abby, our phone screener.
Yeah.
Steve, who's our new producer.
They never been over there.
So it'll be good.
I have no date.
Which, by the way, last night we're going to this charity event.
Amy was part of and the show took a big part in.
And so she's like, all right, you should come.
So I go to this charity event.
And she's like, okay, it starts at seven.
I'm going to go.
She had to go early because she was one of the chairs of the event.
Like on the committee, yeah.
Yeah.
And so I hit her up.
I'm like, hey, do I need to get there right at seven?
Or is it like fashionably late?
What did you say?
No, you said I'm going to get there.
starts at seven and Bobby said, I'm going to be fashionably late like $6.59.
Like that's late.
Like, fashionably late is like 7.15.
But like normally you would get somewhere probably at 6.45 if it started at 7.
He can't help himself.
He's like trying to be fashionably late and 6.59 is fashionably late, which by the way you got
there at 653.
I checked.
Yeah, I still was a little early.
And I sat in my car for a bit too.
I sat in front of the building and was like, oh, because I got there like 640.
He can't.
He like, it's like you're, you don't, something in you does not allow lateness to happen.
It's amazing.
The only thing that we can control as people is how hard we work and when we get there to do the work.
But this wasn't work.
I know, but I'm talking about just in general, I'm wired because I'm not super skilled at many things.
But what I will do is show up on time every time and I will work to the fullest of my ability.
Yeah.
And so because I'm wired to do that, if someone says it starts here, I'm going to be there then.
But you said you were going to be there then.
But you said you were going to be late.
He said fashionably late, 69.
You couldn't do that.
69.
He couldn't even.
I even texted him once I got there and felt.
I said, let me get there and feel out the vibe of like what.
And like really seven to eight was a lot of like mingling and checking out the silent auction and just everybody hanging out.
Seven to eight was by the way.
Right.
So I realized he was going to have plenty of like hang time.
So I even texted him, hey, no need to get here right at seven.
And then I'm pretty sure right after I sent that he's like driving up.
Hey, everybody, it's me.
He's like, what up? I'm here.
Yeah, I'm very early.
Let's go over to Angie and Virginia, who's called the show.
Angie, appreciate you calling the Bobby Bone Show.
What's going on?
Hello.
Hey.
So, Bobby, I just had a question for you.
I have a daughter who's 23, and I think it would be a perfect match for her.
Boom.
She's how old?
Probably a little too young, 23.
Yeah, she's below.
He has an And it's 25 to 70.
Yeah, somewhere in that tight window of 25 to 70.
That's really at least 25.
Just missed it.
Yeah.
I just feel like 20.
23's a bit young. A year out of college, probably. What in the world are we going to do?
Right.
She's still in college, but she has dated older than you before.
What?
Wait a minute, Angie. You're 22, 23-year-old daughter has dated men in their 40s?
Yes. Oh, well, okay. He was 40.
Whatever makes her happy. Listen.
Was that weird for you, though?
It was a little weird because I'm only 41.
Okay, yeah, that's weird.
Did you also find him attractive?
Well, I'm married, but yes, he was attractive.
And was that a conversation you have with your daughter?
Like, hey, he's a lot older.
Let me give you some advice.
Like, what was that mother-daughter conversation like?
No, I was just like he's a lot older, but she's dated a lot of guys that were, you know, her age that it didn't work out for whatever reason.
I think she's really picky.
Yeah.
And also, everybody looks for something different than people.
Right.
I know.
Some people are just attracted to.
But why is Bobby perfect for your daughter?
Like, what is it that they match up?
up. Well, because I love the Bobby Ben, so I love all of you guys.
And then if I came over to the house. And you know what? Bobby is just like this 24 hours a day.
I did get a text here. Tell me what you think about this, Angie. It says, honestly, Bobby's
competitiveness is his biggest turnoff. I think that might be why he's having trouble finding someone.
What do you think about that, Angie? Maybe you should date younger or maybe older. I don't know.
Yeah. Okay. Well, I appreciate that. Thank you for the call and tell your daughter. I said,
what's up? In a couple years, hit me up. HMU.
Hey me up.
Yeah. In like two years, HMU, you know what I mean?
All right, thank you. Have a good day.
Thank you.
Hey, my competitiveness got me here.
Yeah, but I don't think your competitiveness is why you don't have a girlfriend.
No, why would that be something else, Amy?
It's a lot deeper than that.
If it was just competitive, I feel like you could work on it.
No, yes, your drive and being competitive, yes, has gotten you where you are.
But the draft is just a fun game that we play on the show.
Like, that's not why you don't have a girlfriend.
Yeah.
I had a good therapy performance yesterday.
Oh yeah, how did it go?
It's great.
I leave there going, oh, I'm getting better.
Yeah.
I think my happiness scale, I'd say I usually sit at about a 6.2-ish in general life.
I think it's gotten up to about a 6.9 overall.
That's good.
Yeah.
That's really good.
Yeah, so it's definitely up there.
Getting climbing a little bit.
Sometimes you share with us little nuggets of wisdom that you pick up at therapy.
It's like people, you're helping the people get free therapy.
Yesterday she challenged me.
challenge negative thoughts I have about myself.
Okay.
Meaning.
Give us an example of a negative thought.
Oh,
it could be anything from physical thoughts to like,
oh man,
I just,
because I'm really skinny.
I don't like that much about it.
It's like I'm skinny.
And sometimes I get a gut,
and it's just both,
worst of both worlds.
It's like skinny on top
and then the gut,
it's like,
like,
who would want to like be physical
with this disgusting?
And she's like,
don't do that.
Oh,
that's what you say to her?
What?
Who would want to be physical
with this disgusting?
Why are you judge?
me. What I'm doing is I'm sharing what I say
and don't look. No judgment. Keep going,
Bones. It's good stuff. Keep going.
Even Ramundo's laughing. See, I can't be
vulnerable with you guys. Because you just
are laughing. No, this is safe.
Keep going. Tell us more. It's not safe.
You can't say it's safe while you're laughing. It's a trust
tree. It is not. This is the worst
tree house ever been in. Other people need
to hear this. So you say these things
to yourself and she says stop. And it's
not even just that. It's stuff too where it's like
if I go out with a girl.
And she's encouraging me to date like crazy.
She's like, date everyone.
You're trying to figure it out.
She said, you didn't date forever.
And now you're, you know, in some ways, you're so much older because of your rough
circumstances.
But in a lot of ways, you're just super immature because you haven't dated and haven't been
in relationships.
And she's like, so you should date.
You should date a lot.
And I don't lie to people.
So she's like, there's no dishonesty there.
It's not like you're with someone dating someone else.
Like, just date everybody.
Who cares?
And then she's like, just telling me to challenge any thought of.
of well, this isn't going to work after the first date.
She's like, don't go and look ahead three years after the first date and be like, well, there's
no way this is going to work.
She said, if it doesn't work, because it today or because of a fundamental difference you have,
that makes sense.
But don't start sabotaging everything because there's something where you go, well, you can't do that
because in a year that's going to be miserable.
Yeah.
So it's just challenging lots of thoughts that are just naturally in me.
So.
It's good stuff.
It's not.
You laugh.
I told you, I'm very self-conscious about my body.
Yeah.
I am.
And you're trying not to laugh again.
You know that I don't have a very muscular chest.
You know I have the chest of like a 12 year old boy.
That is you're talking negative.
You need to challenge that right now.
Okay, challenge.
But you're laughing.
It's hard to challenge it.
And Eddie has his hand over his mouth.
I'm just running the cameras over his mouth.
Running the cameras.
You're fine.
I'm fine.
We're here for you.
Yeah.
That's what I happen.
Whatever.
I'm out of here.
I'm going home.
No.
You can't go out.
I guess you got about 90 minutes left to the show, doesn't it?
Okay.
We'll come back.
Screw it.
They put out a list of the most dangerous countries in the world to travel to for 2020.
I'm not going to, because we're not going there except for Haiti's on the list.
Oh, yeah.
I believe it now.
Amy adopted her two kids from Haiti.
She always wants to go back, and I have to, like, plead with her, don't go.
Not right now.
I know.
It's terrible.
What are you going to do?
I don't know.
I mean, it's so terrible there.
Like, we have friends that send us videos and updates.
and it's just so crazy.
I mean, my kids, the deal was once we adopted them,
we knew we wanted to wait two years before we took them back,
and we want them to go back to Haiti regularly.
We want them to have a relationship with their birth moms.
They're not biologically related,
so we got two moms over there that we would love for them to know
and that I would love to know.
I haven't gotten to meet them yet.
I didn't want to meet them until the adoption was final, or I couldn't.
And now that it's final, and we thought for the kids,
we would wait for the two-year mark.
And in December, we hit two years.
And I just hope that, you know, for more reasons than just being able to take my kids,
just for the sake of a lot of people there whose lives are in danger and it's just so tragic
that they get it together over there.
And there's some healing in that country and we're able to go back because it's just,
it's too dangerous right now.
It's a hot mess.
Stresses me out when I think about you going over there.
I've been over there and it wasn't even super, I mean, it was unsafe, but it wasn't like it is now.
Yeah, no, I would say in this past year.
I mean, this year I've canceled three trips total.
Like I was set to go and then canceled.
You know what else stresses me out?
What?
I was reading the news this morning to the asteroids
going to maybe hit Earth.
Oh, well.
Guys, here's the thing, right?
I don't take care of everything.
Yes.
I don't even want to know if it's coming.
Right.
Yeah, don't tell us.
Just let it hit and we go and we don't even realize it.
That's the way to go.
So when is it coming?
Well, an asteroid, the size of a great pyramid,
is headed our way May 6, 2020.
NASA has located this asteroid
the size of this humongous pyramid in Egypt,
which, by the way, it's going that fast and that far,
and it hits us, we're done.
Just complete annihilation.
There is some time, again, March 6th, 2020, once, one of this is 2022, once it's
2020, but let's just say 2022.
NASA believes there's a one in three thousand eight hundred odd.
Guys, that's pretty, that's, there's a chance.
Wow.
Yeah, that's not like, it's not like a one in a million.
We can't shoot it.
No, that's, that's just a movie.
Yeah, we can't Armaged in it.
I'm just saying, I see it in the movie, so I thought maybe we, we,
good.
So it's basically right about a half a percent chance it hits Earth.
Wow.
Which is pretty high considering our entire existence.
Half a percent chance to go.
Odds are it won't, but still, if it were to hit a populated area, it would wipe out an entire city instantly, causing millions of debts.
Tim, something good.
Wow.
Those stories stress me out, too.
Because one day something's going to be coming, and then we're just not going.
be able to do anything about it. And they're like, hey, it's coming. So do whatever you got to do.
And then it's going to be mayhem.
Yeah, you can't tell people to do whatever you got to do.
I mean, it's just, people just going to start doing whatever they want to do.
It's going to be mayhem. But you want to talk about uniting Earth? Yeah, let an asteroid come down.
I bet you us and Kim Jong-Bill are going to be all trying to figure it out together.
That's true. True, true. We got old evil Putin and Kim Jong-un in America. We're all in there.
We'll be in the same room trying to figure that crap out.
Maybe that's what it'll take to get everybody on the same page.
An asteroid.
Maybe they shouldn't have been a fake asteroid hitting us.
Good idea.
It's not bad.
This is like bring us all together.
Like, oh boy.

There was a hoarder trapped inside their home for 14 hours after the garbage fell on them.
Oh, my gosh.
That's sad.
Yeah. Those shows stress me out too.
Yeah.
And I feel bad for them because it's just something. Right.
It's a mental illness.
A hoarder ended up being trapped for 14 hours when a bunch of their stuff in their home fell.
Fire and rescue crews were forced to break through a side window to gain access and they almost got crushed themselves by the amount of garbage from Florida ceiling.
Among the garbage were magazines from the 80s, food that expired in the 90s, the woman's recovering and receiving therapy for hoarding.
Yeah, like it's a mental illness.
I know people like to make jokes.
jokes, but it's like anything else happening up there. You need help. So, it's 14 hour.
I wonder if that, at what hour you go, well, this is probably it for me. For me, be like 10 minutes
in. I'd be like, well, immediately. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon

Owning a home comes with a lot of things
nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data
to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

A University of Miami professor who's an expert on money laundering was busted yesterday for money laundering.
What do you know?
It's like the day before those.
The Breaking Bad professors from Henderson State.
The University, they were busted for making math.
Yeah.
They were amazing.
They were chemistry professors.
He's facing up to 20 years in prison for laundering money from criminals in Venezuela and Colombia and taking a 10% cut.
He's a 73-year-old named Bruce Begley, president, professor of international studies at
the University of Miami.
He's an expert on trafficking, organized crime, and money laundering
was behind a book called Drug Trafficking, Organized Crime, and Violence in America today.
And they charged him with money laundering.
Allegedly, he laundered $3 million into the U.S. from criminals and then pocketed to 10%.
So he made a few hundred thousand bucks on this.
You'd think with all his expertise, so he could have done a better job at covering his tracks.
Oh, maybe he's not an expert at that.
He even had one of his bank accounts shut down last year for suspicious activity,
so he opened up another one did the same thing.
Oh, no.
It's possible, though, that he underestimated the chance of getting caught.
I tell you, though, I get hit so many times for people that was Henderson State professors.
That's what I went to college.
They were like, do you know these guys?
And it didn't.
I didn't, but they were making meth.
They were chemistry professors making men.
Crazy.
Let's go to Brittany in Texas, who's on the phone.
Brittany in Texas, what's happening?
Thank you for calling.
Hey, y'all.
Hey, what's going on?
I was just coming to comment again about being competitive in relationships.
I think it's totally important to be competitive.
Well, you know, I just had a listener tell me that the reason I am single is because I'm too competitive.
Absolutely not.
There are three sisters in my family.
We've all been married over 15 years, and we are beyond the most competitive family you will ever, ever meet.
I mean, I'm talking.
We carry around rocks in our car to draw hopscotch on the cement to see who's best that.
Absolutely everything imaginable.
We are completely competitive with our spouses and everything.
It's totally not a true thing.
You have to be competitive.
It keeps this spicy.
You guys fight over hopscotch?
That's weird.
Oh, we've gotten to the point of hopscotch.
That's how competitive we are.
Every game imaginable, we fight over.
It doesn't really matter the game.
I'm with her.
I can be competitive on anything I'm challenged at.
But I just have never had anyone challenge me to a duel of hopscotch.
And it went to hopscotch with all the members.
in my family because they have, they're like all, they were tied at everything else, basketball
and volleyball and you name it.
So they're like, well, now we have to figure out something else.
And they're like, what about hopscotch?
I mean, that's how crazy it's gotten in our family.
That's pretty funny.
I mean, my parents have been married 35 years and they're completely competitive.
It's important.
I appreciate that call.
I can be down with that.
I wouldn't mind being a relationship like that.
It's fun.
Yeah, no, it's fun.
As long as they make big fights.
Do you see Kylie Jenner made another $600 million bucks?
What?
What?
She sold 51% of her makeup company.
Oh.
It was, they have a, they're like over a lot of these big makeup companies.
Yeah.
But she sold 51% of Kylie Cosmetics.
And that means her business is valued at $1.2 billion.
But Cody, the company the owns Cover Girl.
C-O-T-Y.
C-O-T-Y, yeah, C-O-T, Y, C-O-T, yeah, C-O-T, bought it.
She's 22 years old.
She's obviously.
Good for her.
Wow.
That's amazing.
And another $600 million.
Should have thought of the lip kit.
You can't even spend that, right?
No.
No.
I mean, I'd love to try, but no.
Oh, yeah.
So shout out Kylie Jenner.
Jeez.
Just a public service announcement,
kind of the more you know,
that it's dangerous to give your pets alcohol.
Oh, yeah.
Well, some people are idiots.
What are they doing?
They give my dog beer.
Oh.
The alcohol and beer and other alcoholic drinks
toxic even more so when ingested by pets.
Also, super rich cookies and breads and other baked goods can cause this really upset stomach
and animals.
So if you have a pet and it's holiday time and you're like, I'll just break them off some of this cookie.
Just give them a little bit of beer.
Don't do that.
That's the more you know.
Thank you.
Now we're done here.
Amy, what's going on today?
I get to pick my kids up from school today, which they love.
And then just going to be hanging out with them.
Help them with homework.
Be a mom for a little bit before I come over to your house for the
holiday party. Yeah, the early holiday party. I think there's about 20 people coming to the house tonight.
Yeah. We started on the food last night. So I was doing very little. But the people that I have hired to come over and work, they were doing it. I was helping a little bit, but not much.
Oh, like, what, usual, little salt here? No, no, no, no, I'd like get the bag out of the shelf and lay it down.
And then go back to my room. But we have a big, um, party, dinner party at my house tonight.
So I, before that, Naomi from Runaway June's coming over to do a bobby cast.
So that'll be up tonight.
And then we'll do the holiday party tonight.
And Travis Denning is going to perform at the house.
So we'll see how it goes.
I'll try to Instagram Live some of it.
At least the performance.
And the Christmas decorations.
Like, it's going to be a Christmassy vibe.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The tree is up in my house.
Do you have a tree?
Yeah, it's in the corner.
You have to like walk in and look back to see it.
And I have like joy signs on my door.
All right.
So listen, I'm not going to win any sort of contest for Christmas decorations.
But there's definitely effort.
that's been put in. I know this is like a show
gathering to just get everybody together
and you know, Thanksgiving hasn't happened
so it's like, but I'm looking at
this as like my first Christmas party of the year.
It feels good. I think that's fair though. I'm just not
here that much. I know. After Thanksgiving.
So we're just having it way early. Yeah.
I have to go to Idol, American Idol for a week
and I'll be doing the show from California.
Then before you know it, we're gone for Christmas.
So this is it.
Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween,
the holidays. All, all put in
together. So dress nice.
Bring it
Don't bring any food though
Plenty of food
Oh no not
Hey everybody
Don't bring food
If you want to
Like bring wine
If you want to bring a drink
I have a lot of that too
A lot of alcohol
Bobby has like five bottles of Casamigos
I saw them
Were you at my house?
Yeah
When we got ready for the CMA Awards
I was over
Checking things out
I have so much alcohol in my house
I don't drink
But it's just so much
Because it doesn't get drank
All right
Thank you guys
Appreciate you
We'll see you on Wednesday's show and the big parties tonight.
Follow me on Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, if you want to see any of that.
