The Bobby Bones
Post-show pre-show.
We just finished Monday's show, and this story was just handed to me.
I wish I could have got to it.
But there was a high school basketball game in Delaware,
and there was a fight in the middle of the game.
So many people got thrown out of the high school basketball game
that it became a three-on-three game.
Because so many people got ejected from the game.
Oh, my gosh.
A high school basketball game devolved into a three-on-three contest
after a bench-clearing brawl,
and only three of those players were left on the court at the buzzer.
That's funny.
Oh, wait.
You know what?
It wasn't three.
They wrote the headline wrong.
I think they don't know how to talk about basketball.
Thursday's game ended with only one player on the court for Cape Henlopen High School and two for Sussex Tech.
Oh, so it was three total.
It was one on two.
Yeah, it's not three on three.
One on two.
And they kept the game going?
The teams played the final 12 minutes with only three players each.
That's awesome.
Poor guy by himself.
Here's what happens.
Okay, so it was for a second three on three, but two, Cape Suss.
Cape Sussex players
and one Sussex player
fouled out after the brawl.
So it was three on three, but it ended
one on two. That's amazing.
I'd love to see that. Can you imagine the one guy
getting doubled up the whole time?
Yeah, it's terrible. He can't even take it out. How do you take it out for yourself?
Does the ready to throw it into you?
You probably have to bounce it and then go get it.
This guy was arrested after blaring
the Benny Hill song
Near People Slipping on Ice.
This is the funniest song.
Whenever something funny is happening,
a Sue Falls man was arrested after police found him,
berating people with loud music and laughter
after they slipped and fell on icy spots.
That's funny.
He didn't push him down.
Right.
No, but what?
He didn't push him down.
Hopefully he got it on TikTok.
Surely this is somebody doing this for social media, right?
If you're playing that music and doing that much,
quote, it was something that needed to happen
to make light of all the gloomy weather we've had lately.
I didn't know that people would get so pissed off
about falling to such a happy song.
When police arrived at the scene, it looked as though the man had just finished up playing the song for a child who had recently slipped and fallen.
Oh, okay.
That's where they draw the line.
If it's a kid.
Just imagine, you know there's a fight everybody's falling, right?
And you're seeing people walk and fall, walk and fall.
And then all of a sudden someone walks and boom, falls.
Like you would have to laugh.
Over and over again, that's funny.
A man finds $8,000 in a mailbox of a vacant home.
A guy in Georgia went to the mailbox of a house that he rents out that no one's in.
He found an envelope in it that had $8,000 in $100 bills.
I'd leave it there.
That's a drug deal.
Instead of keeping it, he took it to police, who discovered the person who sent the envelope
was the victim of a scam.
It appears the 90-year-old woman from Wisconsin was called several times.
It told her grandson needed the cash to get out of jail and pay for other expenses.
in total she sent $54,000
to multiple locations
including this house.
Oh my gosh.
No, Amy, you thought it was a drug deal.
Well, I knew it was some sort of something bad
and this is bad, but I mean, I'm glad
that they figured it out so they could have her stop
because it was a scam.
I wouldn't have grabbed the envelope and told cops.
I would have called the cops to come get it
because I ain't touching that money.
Don't touch it. Yeah.
In trouble.
I would be afraid as soon as I put it in my car
and I drove off, somebody would follow me and shoot me.
Because people would kill you for that much
money. Right. No, my boyfriend in college, it like randomly, I think at his brother's house or something,
like a bunch of diamonds got dropped in their mailbox. And they kept them. They kept them? Yeah, I think
they ended up, he was going to use one for something. Hey, F that. I don't even say that.
I know, because I really feel like it was, it was obviously something, I don't even remember
the whole story about that's the highlights. That's all you need to know. And that's, it's scary.
because you know it was a part of something shady,
diamond, just like a mailbox.
I was walking my dog one night,
and this car was driving slowly by another house,
and they threw something out the window.
And I walked right by with my dog,
and it was like a baggie or something.
And I was looking at it like, oh, my gosh.
I just want to know what it is.
I didn't even touch it.
You kidding me?
Oh, you didn't stop.
No chance.
I was like, it's got to be drugs for sure.
The Powerball jackpot is growing.
Lunchbox, you win this one?
I'll get in it.
I got to buy tickets.
$394 million.
Man.
Just think how awesome that would be to win that.
It'd be awesome to win $1,000.
Yeah, but it'd be a lot cooler to win $391 million.
In 2019, more people went to the library than to the movies.
Wow.
That's great.
Well, you...
Hold on.
Will you start acknowledging, Eddie, that movies, movie theaters are a dying thing.
Negative.
If you had money, would you invest in a movie theater?
Yes.
You're out of your mind.
Because I went to one two weeks ago, Bone, sold out.
Friday night.
Crazy.
They're showing less.
movies, less movie times. So they're sold out. It's like a flight being sold out when they go from
three non-stops to one. Does that make sense? Yeah, I get what you're saying. Also, all the movies that
are being put in our homes, they're still going to be a niche for movie theaters, but nothing like when
we were kids, even now, they're going down, they're trending down. Even now, it's going to be
nothing. Like 10 years ago when Bobby was saying this, I was disagreeing with him. I was like,
I was like, you, Eddie. I was like, you're wrong, Bobby. No, people always want to go to the movie
theaters. And some people will. And some people will. And I think it is a special occasion thing and
something cool kids love to do if you're a parent. Like I totally get that. But it's,
Bobby was right. Like, anytime I'm at home and I'm about to watch some movie that's readily
available right there on my TV and we don't even have to leave the house, I'm like, Bobby was so
right. And it's not just that. It's not just for like movies that have been in theater,
but it's like they're putting out movies now straight to home. That's what I mean. I thought you meant
like you'd wait until a movie comes out of the theater. No, I mean, the movie, like, it's there.
Like, and there's all these other people that are, like, Netflix is making movies and all these
streaming places where you can get it right then and there and you do not have to leave your house.
You're starting to see movies up for Oscars that don't go to the theater. Yeah, it's true.
Yeah. But, you know, yes, that's happening already, but we went to go see Joker,
and how long was that concessions line? I mean, so long. It was packed.
Well, yeah, think about it. If you could watch Joker at home, you don't have to wait in line.
And you're talking about, Eddie, I may I went to two or three movies the whole year last year.
And it was the biggest movie of the year, basically.
But yes, people will always go to the movies.
Yeah, so they'll still be alive.
But they're already declining like crazy.
And if you're going to invest in movie theaters,
I've got a few other investments before that maybe you can hop in.
A little better.
Oh, boy.
But it's like also sporting events.
Like you're seeing less and less people go just the general numbers to sporting events
because why would you, if the weather's not good,
cost to park?
Like, they're having to dial,
up all of the in-game functions so people will actually go to games now.
Yeah.
Like me, I'm like, I don't even want to go.
Right.
No, I'd rather sit on my couch and watch angles and because watching a game in the state,
unless it's like really, really your team, kind of sucks.
Yeah, I think the best time is the first time you go.
It's like, oh, it's amazing.
And then after that, you're like, all right, I did it.
Everything's being sent to us to every part of us, phones, house.
So they have to offer something now that we can't get in our house.
and what tiny players on a field?
Yeah.
Right.
I'm watching them all close.
All right.
I think that's all I wanted to say.
A 76-year-old woman in New York
survived a seven-story fall
after landing on fruits and vegetables.
It's like a movie.
It's lucky.
She landed on a bunch of boxes of fruits and vegetables.
Yeah.
She opened the window, fell out of her apartment,
and was getting in some fresh air and bam, fell out.
She fell more than 60 feet, but she survived
because she landed on a box of fruits and vegetables.
Don't you think, too,
if you hit after that, you're like, am I alive?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
You're like, oh, what, and did you start checking body parts to see?
Or if you're in the sea of food, you're like, or am I in heaven?
I love orange.
If she's a vegan, she's like, this is what heaven is.
Graves.
It's funny because when the weather's colder like it is now, my body hurts in all the places
that I've been injured before.
So I've broken fingers from playing football.
I got a shoulder injury from dancing with the stars, a foot injury.
And it's like, when I wake up and it's cold, I guess because, this is,
me guessing at this point because the cold air, cold and warm air with the bones in and out,
I guess it's your body tightening with it being cold. Everything aches on me so bad. Do you have any
injuries that hurt you when it's cold? Yeah, my knee. Colder than warmer? Yes, when it's cold or it's
going to rain, my knee, which has some arthritis or something going on into it, it starts aching. Like I can
tell. Moves that I do, like workout stuff that I don't feel on any other day, some days I feel it.
And I'm like, oh, it's the weather.
And my shoulder is just still a mess from that fall on episode one.
Not even dancing.
It was after I danced and I cheered and I fell.
And it still just kills me.
So I woke up this morning with that.
You know what I did?
I have whatever that gene is that's supposed to be in us for moderation, I don't have it.
But I know I don't have it, right?
So I keep people and things away from me that would be bad for me because I know what I'll do is I'll just consume all of it.
I don't keep sugar in my house for the most part.
I don't keep anything in my house that I'll overindulge in because I don't have that, hey, you should stop Gene, which is why I don't drink.
Not for any moral reason or religious reason.
I just don't.
I don't have it.
Well, I was home this weekend, which is rare for me to be home all weekend without something to do.
On Saturday night, I thought, you know, I'm feeling a bit adventurous.
went to Walgreens and bought two boxes of cereal and some almond milk.
I ate the first box cereal that night.
They ate the whole box.
Lucky charms?
No.
Cinnamon toast crunch?
No.
One of them was frosted mini weeds.
I ate that night one.
Yes.
But I saw that and I was like, frosty many meats, that's where you go.
Yeah, I got that in honey, oats and honey bunches of oats.
Oh, that's a good one.
And ate that whole one on the second night.
Wow.
I had two boxes of cereal.
I have a problem.
But I know my problem and I know the best way to not,
walk into that is to keep it away from me. And I weighed myself this morning, which I do every morning.
Oh gosh. What was it? Well, you know, my target goal, 159. That means I'm right on. Like,
you look good for me. At this point, I am what I am. But 159 means I've been minding my peas and
cues, been getting my cardio in, been lifting a little bit, not too much, but lifting a little bit
the eating exactly right. I had two boxes of cereal in two days. I was at 165.
What? You haven't been that in a long, long time. Not my best, no my best morning this morning.
Wow, and you're about to go to Hawaii? Yeah, I don't take my clothes off. But you're going to be on TV.
Not my clothes off. Listen, and I don't, I can't even move what I'm saying this. I'm only doing this
because you worry about it. 165 for you is totally fine. I don't like that you're wrapped around,
that you have to weigh this certain amount
and that it's causing you to like feel like
you can't have certain foods
or you don't trust yourself.
But two boxes of cereal you gained
you gained five pounds?
Yeah. Oh, I can move weight.
I can still move weight pretty quickly.
Eddie, two boxes is, he probably ate other things too, right?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I had lunch.
And then every Sunday on the weekend,
I go to true food and eat my pancakes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They put their quinoa pancakes, 540 calories.
Is that including the maple syrup?
They list it as in the line.
And it comes on the plate?
And it comes on the plate?
Okay.
Yeah.
If it's on the plate, it's a calorie.
It's my thing.
I try to go every week.
Because they're a quinole pancake.
They're not 1,200 calories.
They're good.
It's my breakfast and my lunch.
But yeah, I was at 165 this morning.
So I got to shed some of that.
Amy brought me.
You'll hear about the gift to Amy gave me later.
Is that how you shed?
No.
Okay.
Cardio.
I can drop pretty quick.
And I don't really care about.
My number is just me knowing I've gone a little too much.
I don't like look at myself and hate myself.
Okay, that's good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because some people, it's definitely not healthy to weigh yourself like that.
Me, I just need some, I need some bowling rails to stay in between.
And so I weigh myself three times a day.
Crazy.
I still, I can't decide if I was like, healthy for you or not.
I know.
Because you're a smart person, like you know you're very self-aware.
So, but for a lot of people that would not work, that might send them be like a huge,
huge trigger thing to weigh yourself every day and obsess about that.
No, I just go, oh, I'm 165. I should probably have a lighter day today.
Be sure, it's going to take me four or five days to get back to where I need to get
and just slow and steady.
When's the race?
Like the tortoise.
Everything I do is not right, guys.
I know you put me to that high standard.
Pope Bob Paul III.
I know.
Okay, that's all.
We're about to get into Monday show.
Enjoy it.
Appreciate you.
We got a big one this week.
We have Dirk Spentley's 90s parody band, Hot Country Nights,
will be by Wednesday, Kane Brown Friday, right?
Yeah, big week.
Also, got a couple new Bobbycasts up, music podcasts.
If I check that out, Amy's Four Things with Amy Brown podcast,
Lunchbox Eddie Raymundo's sore loser sports podcast, movie mic, if you like movies,
movie mics, movie podcast, you can check that out.
There's a lot up there.
When are the Black Crows guys coming?
In February.
Oh, okay.
Got some time.
Or right now.
Open the door, Johnny.
I'm excited for that one.
Yeah, me too.
She talks to angels.
She only mentions a word addiction.
You know what, Amy?
In certain company.
Amy, what do you mean?
I know the song, but I don't know the word.
Yeah, she tells you she's an orphan.
After you meet her family.
and then drums.
Oh, she talks to angels.
Yes.
Do you know what I have on my phone, which is pretty cool?
Let's see if it's still here.
A long time ago, this is before Kelsey had a hit.
Kelsey Ballerini had to hit.
We were practicing, and I have a voice memo of her singing
and she talks to angels in my condo.
Really?
Yeah.
Is that you playing that Eddie?
Maybe.
Yeah.
I'm not going to play at all, because I don't know how good it is.
That's you.
This is crazy.
It's in 2014.
The 90 second intro, but you got to wait for it.
That's me on the shaker.
That's me on the shaker.
Yeah, this is from 2014.
Are we rehearsing for something?
I don't know.
Maybe we were touring together.
Yeah.
Do you want to wait until she gets to the big part?
I do, I do.
Amy, do you like this or no?
Yes.
Not really?
No, I do.
I like it.
I have that thought.
Is that cool?
That's awesome.
Six years ago.
That's really cool.
I mean, I have a bunch of stuff on my phone from all
all that crap.
I have a video of her
when we were traveling somewhere in Kansas
we're in a van and she's singing in the back seat
and I feel like
what was her first hit?
Love me like you mean
and she's sitting there in the backseat
just singing it and like she looks so tiny
and young and it's crazy
that we toured together and she's
Yeah I have when Christian Bush
and I wrote Every Day is a Good Day
Yeah it's a bunch
It'd be fun to go through this one day
Yeah
Did you do a Bobby cast on demos?
Yeah, I didn't put any of ours in because we're stupid.
No, but these are kind of cool, though.
Do a bobby cast on Bobby's voice memos.
God, can you?
And it's not all just songs.
It's me waking up in the middle of night and going,
all right, here's my idea.
And then I listen back to it.
I'm like, what was I thinking?
What was I doing?
All right.
All right, I'm done.
Okay, so in that song, do y'all know why,
why does she say she's an orphan even after you meet her family?
I don't know.
I think it's like
Can you know
Bobbycast on that?
Well, my
Mike, I'll look this up
We'll see if I'm right or not
My guess would be
that she's very contradictory
in life
meaning
you can't ever put your finger on her
Okay
She's hard to get
She's hard to handle
Oh, hard to handle that
Do you know who he was married to Amy?
No
Ooh, this is a good one
Kate Hudson
Oh yeah
Okay, now I know that
Now that you say that
Yeah
Let's see here.
Is this what it says?
She's telling her truth.
At least she sees that her family rejected her
nothing to do with her now.
I don't know.
We can ask them that.
They'll be in.
Anyway, all right, here we go.
We just spent a long time doing that.
And here is Monday, January 27th show.
Enjoy.

Now, usually we start the show with a big imaging piece and we all come in and do our normal
thing. We will do that coming up in a second, but before I get everybody in here, I didn't want to start
the show by talking about acknowledging Kobe Bryant's death yesterday. We were actually in my house,
Eddie and I were about to do a podcast, and I saw it on my Twitter, and I thought it was a joke
because it's so rare when superstars like that die that early. And I was like, wow, this is a
weird death hoax? It wasn't. And I'm sure now you probably know what happened.
Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter were among nine killed in a helicopter crash in
Calabasas, which is in California.
And just shocking to everyone, you can look at Twitter, Instagram yesterday, and see everybody
posting.
You know, I don't think there was a kid that's near my age that didn't credit Kobe when
playing pickup basketball.
Kobe was NBA MVP, had won even an Oscar for music and a movie.
Really one of those rare guys who everybody knows.
who he is. And like I said, him and his daughter were among nine killed whenever the S-76 helicopter
was trial. And I was reading about this helicopter. And apparently it was one of the safest helicopters
out there, which is why they had it. We're told they were on their way to the Mamba Academy,
which was his academy for basketball practice, which is in nearby Thousand Oaks. They have
identified some of the other victims in the crash as well. Authorities say responders had to
hike to get to the crash scene. And when they finally got to the site, it was clear that no one had
survived. And all this comes a day after Kobe Bryant was passed by LeBron James. So it was a big
weekend for him. You know, I don't know much about helicopters. I don't know much about
any of this, except to see that somebody died way too young. Him and his daughter died,
you know, thoughts and for sure send your thoughts and prayers to his family.
family, his wife, and he has three other daughters, and they are going through a whole lot right now.
So I didn't want to start the show with the normal, you know, what up?
I just wanted to come on and acknowledge that for a second.
I'll bring everybody back in the room now, I guess into the room for the first time.
But Kobe Bryant has passed away.
He was 41 years old.
Welcome to another week of the show.
Appreciate you.
You're listening live.
We appreciate you.
You're on podcast.
Thank you very much.
the fact that you will share that you listen to our show.
We appreciate that so much because, you know,
they just don't spend any money on marketing the show.
And it's a blessing and a curse.
I'll say it's a blessing because, you know,
they just rely on you guys spreading it for us
so they don't spend any money on us.
And it's great that they do that.
But again, if you don't, we may go away.
I start threatening.
I guess we're going to leave.
If you don't show on your Instagram story, we're going to go.
So if you don't mind posting in your Instagram story
that you listen to the show and recommend people listen to it,
we appreciate that.
Thank you.
Why don't we see a new week what's happening with everyone
In a segment we call What's the Haps?
Hey, what's the Haps?
Amy, I'll come to you first.
Well, my daughter, Stasheera, she's 12,
and has started a new school the last few weeks
where they have sports and all the things and cheerleaders
and she wants to be a cheerleader.
And she's never really known what that means
I think she likes the uniform,
but I was trying to explain to her that you have to like go,
you learn routines, and then you cheer with everybody
and that I was a cheerleader in high school.
and I showed her my uniform
and I told her how it still fits me.
We had a whole moment.
That, by the way, was called a subtle flex.
That's right.
I love it.
And by it still fits me.
Which I'm shocked by too.
But I think I was probably bigger in high school than I am now.
But I just, yeah, I just am super excited that she's wanting to try out new things
and see where this is going to go.
I don't know that this means she'll be a cheerleader now.
But there's also that cheer show on Netflix that I've been watching.
Everyone loves that show.
Oh, yeah.
Many friends.
You got to watch it.
I mean, even on Twitter, I'm seeing all these people that I know go, oh, yeah, it's good.
I didn't like cheerleading, but the show's real good.
Yeah, my husband watches it, and now she's watching it a little bit, but we're into it.
So, yeah, maybe I could help her out.
Do you still know any cheers?
I mean, no, I know, like a kick.
Come on, do you know any cheers?
I don't know a kick routine from when I was on drill team for the year before.
You don't know, A-W-E-S-O-M-E, awesome.
You don't know that one?
Yeah.
You do sack that quarterback, don't you?
Sack that quarterback.
Set that quota back.
I don't know.
Nice, that's kind of me.
I feel it wasn't good.
Like, honestly, I don't even know how I made cheerleader.
Seriously.
It's cool, though, that your daughter is in school with other kids, right?
Yes.
I mean, that was what I'm taking from this.
And I have to tell y'all, it's just their personalities are night and day.
They come home from school.
They're just different.
They're like a flower blooming.
Like, they're being watered.
Nice.
And I love it.
It's going to water me sometime.
Yeah.
So, we'll see.
Well, that's cool.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
I'll talk for a second because I did a video over the weekend
about my top five favorite pair of shoes.
I love shoes.
I spend too much money on shoes.
I don't have any sort of crazy lifestyle.
I live by myself.
I don't have any kids.
The only thing I really spend money on is shoes
and I might order Uber Eats a little too much sometimes.
And I was reading this story about how Kelly Rippa had to shut down
her daughter's credit card after her large post.
mates,
below, what's the same thing as Uber Eats?
Yeah.
And so, by the way, also,
how nice one I'd be to have a parent
to give you a card?
Yeah.
Like, growing up broke,
that's just a foreign thing to me
that your parent would give you a card
to buy food on.
But I was thinking about this,
what do you waste the most money on?
Because I'm going to go with shoes.
I love shoes.
I don't know if it's a waste or not,
probably a little bit.
What do you spend and waste the most money on?
So I go shoes,
and probably if I'm going to add something else,
dog at this point,
and not just in general,
a lot of health issues,
but probably like,
accessories. He's got 500 toys. He doesn't play with any of them. But I'll go shoes and dog.
You? Mine's easy. Target. I mean, it just, a blanket of things. But clothes there specifically right now,
because you're like at Target and you're thinking, oh, this is Target. Just pick this up. Pick this up.
Because you go to Target for one or two things on your list and you leave there. I swear to you
when you check out, every time they ring me up, I'm like, excuse me? What? The thing about Target
for me is their t-shirts are so good. Yeah. And they have like cool graphics.
T-shirts.
Like I got a Britney Spears one recently.
I only wore once.
I have a couple office ones that they actually have a pretty cool selection of T-shirts
that you would think you can only get, you know, at some designer type place.
Yeah.
So yours is Target lunchbox.
Oh, it's easy.
Lottery tickets.
I love playing the lottery.
I want to hit it big one day and I still invest a lot of money in the lottery.
And so far my investment hadn't paid off, but it just takes that one time.
Eddie?
Probably golf.
Not right now because it's wintertime, but when it's warm.
A golf every week, 40 bucks a week.
Eads up.
I did look at the weather this past weekend.
Yeah?
Because my New Year's goal was to play five rounds of golf in the year of 2020.
Because I used to play all the time, and I need to have hobbies a little more than just work.
But it was not warm enough.
I was going to hit you up if you wanted to play.
Yeah.
I used to beat Eddie every time.
Now I haven't played in years.
He's probably better than I am now.
For sure, for sure.
But I'm probably going to get obsessed with it and then start practicing every day.
So five's the minimum, and it'll probably be.
like every week. If I play five, I'll do
500 a part. I don't even moderation.
Cannot wait. Morgan number two,
what do you think you spend most money on? Like you waste on?
Probably food. I like to go out to eat and try
new foods a lot. Yeah, me too.
All right. Well, I read that story.
Check out my video, though. You go to my Instagram
if you want to see it. All right, there you go. Hey!
What's the hat?
Lunchbox, what's happening? Man, I forgot to
tell you. I forgot to brag about me
meeting Magic Johnson when I was in New York.
I was at the Tina Turner play on Broadway
on my baby moon and I'm sitting down.
and there's all this noise and talk about Magic Johnson's in the building.
And I look back and Magic Johnson's just rocking down the aisle.
And I jump up and I went up to him and I was like, Magic freaking Johnson.
Can I get a picture?
And he's like, yeah.
And I was like, this is awesome.
And he goes, shh.
Because he didn't want you blown up a spot.
Yeah.
That's true.
And so he sat down in his chair.
I got down next to him, took a picture.
Boom.
Was he huge?
He is monstrous.
I mean, he's probably 6-6.
normally, and he's also
an older athlete, so he probably put on a little
weight at the same time. Is this
picture you're talking about the same one you posted on Instagram?
Yes. Because, you go look
at it. It doesn't look like Magic
Johnson is taking a picture with Lunchbox.
It's lunchbox, like doing a selfie
in Magic Johnson's, you can tell it's
Magic Johnson, but he's blurry.
It's like he's like trying to move away.
And did you yell Magic Franken Johnson to him?
Yes. It looks, it's not like,
lunchbox just make you look like, hey, can we take a pick?
Oh, I just pulled it.
Madgeant's eyes are closed. He's not even looking at
the camera. It's questionable of it's
Magic Johnson. That's how blurry it is.
Let me tell you. He's your height.
I don't think that's Magic Johnson. No, Magic Johnson. He sat down
in his chair. And so I got down
next to him and he shook my
hand and his hand was like
halfway up my arm. Wait, how tall is he?
He's 6'9. Wow. He's huge.
Well, that's pretty cool. Look at you.
A lot of people are like, that's not Magic Johnson on your
Instagram. Hey,
what's the hat?
Eddie. So my foster
baby, you know, he's having a hard time
sleeping at night. So I'm usually the one that puts him to bed. He's been just struggling. He fights
me to go to bed. You try to rock him my arms. It doesn't work. So now I'm driving him around the
neighborhood. It's about 15 minutes every night. But it works. That's what works for him.
It works. It works. It happened when I had my first kid and I would do it with him and it worked
with him. So I was like, you know what? I'm going to try this again. So catch me at night every
night, 15 minutes, sometimes 20, maybe 30. I'm driving around the neighborhood. Does you need radio?
Do you sing? No. Do you put in the front seat, back seat?
backseat, in the car seat, and I think just the vibration of the car,
makes them go to Ben.
Can you throw them on the dryer or anything?
Talk about that?
Hey, I've heard of that.
Yeah.
Didn't Toyota or some company release something for babies that you put in their crib,
and it's like you're driving them around?
Google it.
I will Google that.
Google it.
Because I don't remember exactly.
Google it.
Somebody asked Toby Keith in our studio once how he's doing.
He goes, Google me.
That's one of my favorite responses to the other.
Toby Keith, how you doing?
Google me
The Ford Cribb

That's what I'm talking about

That's what's the hafs

Here's the Bobby Bones show
Podcast
Highlight segment of today
Our first draft of 2020
Is one week from today
So we will do our drafts
If you listen to the show
Last year
It became a big
Morgan number two
Has a championship belt
She puts it right in front of my face every day.
She is the champion, but we'll start a week from today.
She just has it on her desk and you think it's in your face.
It is in my face.
It's in all of our faces.
It's in my face.
I'm proud of you, Morgan.
It's not in my face.
Thanks, anyway.
So next week, next Monday, we'll start our first draft.
Okay.
I did watch the Grammys last night.
At least I watched the first part of the Grammy.
Some exciting news this morning.
You might have seen over the past few days that Missy Elliott and her are doing a Super Bowl
commercial together. It's for Pepsi Zero Sugar. I was watching in one of the first commercials,
I don't know what her was doing, but she had the guitar. You see her in All Black? And she pulled up
the guitar. Oh, no, I didn't see that part. The teaser part was pretty quick. Do you know the song,
and I know it mostly from Guitar Hero? I mean, I used this on the oldies radio. Oh, wow.
But you had a red. Do you have the Rolling Stones version of that?
Yes. Okay. So they are doing this song for the
new, how do you say matte black? Is that the color? Is that how you say that color? I always see it,
but I never say it because I'm always like, is it maddy black? No, it's Matt Black. It's like a
gift or a jiff. Bobby's like Mate. I'm always, yeah. But the new Matt Black Pepsi Zero Sugar
can. It's a really cool concept. Here's a teaser from last night. And this morning we walked in
and found a really cool Pepsi Zero Sugar Matt Black box waiting on us. The record player
that includes a full 60 second version of this. Here, this is, here it is from the record player.
So, yeah, thanks to our friends at Pepsi, and it's going to be a really cool thing.
And full commercial at Super Bowl weekend.
I was watching the Grammys last night.
And let me say this.
I thought the opening was weird.
I did.
I thought, because what Alicia Keys did was fantastic.
I just think it should have happened first.
Because what happened at the beginning of the show, they're like, and here they are, the Grammys.
And everybody's like, I mean, Kobe Bryant had just died.
Yeah.
And the stable center is where he played basketball.
In the city that he lived.
and it went right to, and Lizzo has a microphone, she goes,
this is for you, Kobe, and then she goes into some song,
and then she's like, well, I'm being great to other,
and I'm just like, wow, that's.
And then she liked doing the whole.
Yeah.
And I had Stevenson watching it with me,
and obviously I know Lizzo's music, so I know it was there,
but then I didn't realize they weren't going to bleep some of the stuff.
Well, that to me wasn't the thing.
I know.
I'm looking about the Kobe thing specifically.
I agree, just commenting.
I think it was, because we're all waiting to see what they're going to say about Kobe.
Right.
And to go right into a big old crazy Lizzo performance.
with all this big violins and, you know,
and it was a great performance,
but I was like, man,
I thought they should have led with the actual Kobe thing.
They did what they did is just over the intro,
they just crammed her into yelling,
this is for Kobe!
And then they went into it.
Then Alicia Keys came out and it was fantastic.
She did, boys to men came out.
They sang, it's so hard.
They did.
To say goodbye yesterday, yes.
And they were already in an act with Tyler the creator later on.
So they were at the show.
And so they just worked that quick.
They did.
I was like, I didn't realize they were in later.
I was like, oh, wow, they just like get boys to men together real quick and get everybody there.
Was a, she was great because she just talked from the heart.
It felt funny at the beginning of that show for it to be a Lizzo act.
I think they could have done that and then went to Lizzo.
But it's a lot to ask somebody to move, but that's a big, big, big thing to happen.
Especially for that city, for even down to that building where his jerseys are retired, both of them,
eight and 24.
you never get it right.
Trust me, I get it wrong a lot.
But it was kind of a weird thing to go right to that.
But when they did go to it, it was perfect.
It's great.
Here's a clip of her singing with boys to men right now.
Yeah, it was great.
It was really great.
And I felt the crowd was confused of what they were supposed to do
because at the beginning, like, Instagram-mates.
They're like, ah!
You know, they're all...
But I mean, if the cameras are on...
It was confusing for everybody.
I mean, yeah, even on, I was watching the red carpet show on E before,
and Ryan was out there having to do interviews and different things.
And it just, you could just feel like every person that came up,
it's like they talked about that first and it was low.
But then they were like, okay, but we're all here to celebrate music tonight.
And that's what Kobe would want.
But I mean, yes, just being there in the whole, it was hard.
Yeah, even if you're not a basketball fan.
I'm not.
I am not about.
And, you know,
one of our really close friends is a huge Lakers Kobe fan,
like grew up there.
And it was,
I could tell it was affecting her in such a way.
Like you,
he was just so important to,
if you were a fan,
it was very important to a lot of people.
And it just, gosh,
I mean,
even when I,
I was in the car when I heard it.
I heard on the radio.
I got my breaking news,
the radio.
My husband and I,
we were driving to my dads.
And we both just said,
what?
And we turned up the radio.
And that's how we heard.
And it was, gosh,
tragic. Well, I think that
if it would have been in another city,
I still would have felt that way. If it had been in
New York or Las Vegas, I'd have been like, wow,
they should have led with the Kobe thing.
But the fact that it was in Los Angeles
at the same building that he played ball
that is so hard. That I felt like it was kind of weird
they didn't open with that. But again,
it's so hard.
It's just,
and God knows I'm wrong a lot of the time.
It did feel a little weird, but then
Alicia Keys came out. And it's just great at that.
It's just talking. It didn't feel like
she was reading for.
a prompter. She was just like, hey, this sucks. And let's talk about it. And they came out and
sang and it was good. And they were like, all right. I don't know if they went to break or that's
when Blake and Gwen came out. But I also thought that's pretty tough for Blake and Gwen.
They had to come out and sing right after that because they did their duet right after that.
Eddie, it was at my house yesterday. And Eddie was downstairs making tea. Eddie comes to my house.
It goes right to the tea. It doesn't see anything. He doesn't ask. You don't have to ask, by the way.
Thank you. But he's never, he just.
comes in doesn't even say hi
he just goes right to the tea.
There was no one to greet me at the door. He doesn't knock.
He doesn't have to knock. I'm just saying he just
I know if Eddie's there
because I hear the tea machine or what's it called?
Curric. I have a curing, yeah.
And so Eddie's down there again and I say, Eddie
and as soon as it popped to my tour, I said, Kobe Bryant died.
It's like, no, it's one of those hoaxes.
That way, because it was such a big, famous person that died.
I think we all at first, me and Mike D and Eddie were up there.
We all thought it was a hoax for a second.
until they were confirming it.
Another story that I read was that TMZ had reported it before as why Vanessa had heard it.
Yeah, I saw that.
Is that true?
I mean, that's what I heard.
The sheriff department came out and said that and said there was kind of a shame that, you know, when that process goes down, they like to notify the family first.
But in this case, they probably found out through TMZ.
Because they're famous.
Yeah.
And it's in TMZ's, wow.
Because most of the time they can do that because it's not somebody famous.
Right.
Wow.
you know I started the show off this morning talking about it
a little bit
the helicopter
I was reading about the helicopter
don't know much about helicopters obviously
I was on the I've been on two ever
one at Bear Girls when we were flying through the mountains
I was standing on the side of one on that episode
and then once in
Texas Oklahoma with Blake Shelton
so I don't know much about helicopters
but I was Googling this one
and apparently it was the same
safest one that you could possibly get.
But Amy said that,
you know a guy that's a helicopter pilot,
said it was really, really foggy over there.
Yeah, our friend's brother that flies there,
the same area.
Like, he flies, and she even lives
close to where Kobe live and she, yeah,
she was like, he takes helicopter every day.
Like, that's just how it was.
And anyway, her brother got grounded.
Like, they got notifications.
Like, all flights are grounded
because of fog and weather.
And that was early, that was that morning
before that. So just,
you know, yeah, I'm sure
he had the best helicopter and probably had the best pilot, but I don't know.

The Bobby Bones Show.
Big three stories.
All right, let's go over to Raymundo in the glass room with the news,
who is really going to catch us up on what happened with the helicopter crash yesterday in California.
Ramundo?
Yeah, in Calbasis, California, the helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant flew through thick fog authorities,
you're saying, despite Los Angeles police grounding some planes,
and then it crashed into the hillside and caught on fire.
Brian died alongside with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others.
On the phone is Marissa in Pennsylvania.
Hey, Marissa, how are you?
Hey, morning studio.
Morning.
I love that.
I had a question for all of you.
I know you guys are super early morning birth.
I have a hard time getting up for work in the morning, so I have no idea how I'll do it.
I just graduated in May, a school time job.
and I have a pretty late back job,
so we just kind of like go in any time
just as long as we make our eight hours in.
And I just always end up going in for nine,
and I wouldn't be there earlier.
So I was saying if you guys had any tips for me.
Well, yeah, I can give you a tip of someone who's not a morning person.
And if you're listening to this live,
it's really early in the morning right now.
So I'll tell you, I do not like waking up in the morning.
I'm a night owl.
And since I've been 22, I've been doing mornings.
I'm 39 now.
So you're talking about 17 years of just,
waking up every, by the way, I never wake up in the morning and go, oh, what a beautiful morning.
Every morning I wake up, it's like this.
Oh, are you kidding me?
Roll out of bed and then I have my little routine that I go through.
My routine is a bit of what gets me into the right place in the morning, so I would build a routine.
But I also, if you're not a morning person, you will never be a morning person.
That doesn't mean you can be a functioning morning person.
What I've gotten better at is being a better performer while not feeling good.
I'm not even awake right now.
I'm doing the show right now.
I'm not even awake yet.
Give me another hour.
I'll be good.
But for me, just in general, not just morning, even sick or tired, you know, you can actually
get better while feeling your worse, which elevates you when you're feeling your best.
So as long as you realize that you're never going to feel that great, you just get up,
you build your routine, you go through it.
That's what I have.
And not put the pressure on yourself to become a morning person, just to become a morning
performer.
There's a difference.
Amy's definitely a more of a morning person than I am, but not, I wouldn't say you're a, if I'm a two at a 10.
But our morning is so early.
Like I could be a morning person if I woke up at like 630 or 7 in the morning.
I'd be like, it's a beautiful morning.
But our morning is different where I have to have, yeah, I quit pressing snooze a long time ago or maybe like a year and a half, two years ago.
And that helped me tremendously.
If you're not a morning person, like you don't make it worse by pressing snooze.
But that's hard because you want to get that extra rest.
I know, but it's not worth it.
to get up and get into your routine, even if it hurts.
Yes.
I would say if I'm a two, you're a five.
Sure.
I would say, oddly, Eddie's a morning person.
Oddly.
But I'm not.
I'm like you.
When we have days off, like if we have a week off, I'm waking up at.
A week off's tough.
10 p.m.
Oh, I'm not.
Like, I cannot handle that feeling.
I'll sleep until 10.
What?
Oh, that's driving crazy.
Give me three days on vacation.
I will sleep till noon.
And then I'll be miserable for two weeks after that.
Right.
But okay, here's my advice.
My final advice, Marissa.
Are you ready?
I'm ready.
Okay.
it's never going to feel great.
You'll never be a morning person ever,
but that doesn't mean you can't be a morning performer.
Get up and get started.
Build your routine.
And for me, it's I wake up, I do my nasal spray.
I walk right to the kitchen.
I wake up, turn my TV on.
I'll watch all the news, but I go right to the kitchen.
Do my nasal spray.
I do my first thing of five metamusal.
I do, what?
I'm just sharing my life.
I know.
I do, I take a couple other supplements.
I do all this.
I grab my thing out of the.
the fridge and I walk back to my bedroom. By that point, step one is over. And I get my computer up.
And by the time I'm step five, I'm like, all right, I'm ready to go. Build your routine.
Get your butt to work. You'll be so happy when your day ends earlier because you started earlier.
There you go. Not the best answer, but...
Practical.
Very, I'm very pragmatic. I appreciate it.
Well, listen, hope you have an awesome congratulations on the old graduation. Sounds like good,
such as your life's in your place. And good luck with your dog. Good luck with your dog.
I don't know if she has a dog.
I do.
All right, there you go.
There you go.
All right.
Hey, thank you.
Have a good morning, okay?
All right, thank you.
You as well.
The Bobby Boneshow.
All right, time for Amy versus Lunchbox.
Lunchbox will get three female questions.
Amy will get three dude questions.
Are you guys ready to play?
Ready.
All right, here we go.
Lunchbox, you're up first.
Who is the oldest Kardashian sister?
Now, we went to Google.
We typed in trivia questions for women.
This is what they gave us.
Ask him to Lunchbox.
Oh.
Who is the oldest Kardashian sister?
Is it Kim or is it Courtney?
That's the question.
I'm going to go with Courtney Kardashian.
He says it's Courtney.
At 40 years old, the answer is Courtney.
Yes.
I think she's the hottest of the sisters, too.
Who played the lead female role in 10 Things I Hate About You?
10 things I hate about you.
Great one, by the way.
You're just too good to me too.
That's the only sings on the bleathe.
teachers, that girl's name, I don't know where she's been lately, Julia Stiles.
Julia Stiles.
Wow.
Oh, wow.
Correct.
They know that.
Nice.
She was a good actress.
She was in everything for a while.
Dangle and huggy are types of what?
Oh, yeah.
You want them to dangle from your ears?
You want to hug that earlobe, earrings.
Oh, three for three.
Don't give me that nasty look.
Wow.
Let's go over to Amy now.
Here we go.
Amy.
Yes.
In the show, Walker, Texas Ranger.
who played Walker.
Chuck Norris.
Oh, nice.
Nice.
I don't know if you'd get that.
What is the style of sunglasses, Tom Cruise,
famously wears in the movie Top Gun.
Aviators.
Wow, coming out strong.
In England, they call this part of the car the boot.
What do we call it?
Now, in England,
They call this part of the car the boot.
What do we call it in America?
The boot?
This is for the tie here.
Golly, okay, I'm thinking like, could be the trunk, could be the hood.
Maybe it's like, hey, go grab that out of the boot.
Is it the trunk?
I feel like, I don't know if that's the only thing.
Or is it the wheel?
Because you put the boot on the wheel.
It is a spoiler.
Amy, I'm going to ask you one more time.
In England, they call this part of the car the boot.
What do we call it?
Trunk.
Okay, lunchbox.
Yeah, go.
Over to you.
I spend all my time in the UK.
What does exfoliation remove?
Dead skin cells.
Nice.
Amy, what two teams are in the Super Bowl?
The Kansas City Chiefs.
Who did the Titans play?
They played the Chiefs.
That's why I know that.
You need this to tie?
Oh my gosh.
Then what was the other teams?
I need a pay.
attention. I was only paying attention to the team I cared about, which was the Titans,
and I know that they lost, and the Chiefs. The Patriots are out, the Ravens are out.
The who's left? Five seconds?
I don't even know that I even know, but the Broncos. Your answer? Your answer? The Broncos.
Who is it? The San Francisco 49ers are playing Sunday in the Super Bowl, which after a tiebreaker
lunchbox is our winter this morning. There he is. And they stay there.
and they stay there.
Making the score 7 to 6 right now, Amy, you're still in the lead.
I'm super mad about myself because I literally just read an article
about how they have the first female NFL coach.
And their quarterback's super hot.
Jimmy Gravolo.
I didn't read an article about that.
I read an article about the woman coach making it to the Super Bowl.
There you go.
First one.
Shoot.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 32nd Skinny.
Last night at the Grammys, Dan and Shea took home the award for Best Country Duo group performance was speechless,
and Tanya Tucker took home Best Country Song with Bring My Flowers Now.
The full list of winners is up at bobby bones.com.
Thomas Rett says that his daughters do have some interest in music already.
I mean, anytime I get a guitar out, like, I can't keep it in tune because I just want to turn the knobs and play the strings,
and Willa Gray has a little baby piano that she plays a lot out of key.
But they both sing a ton.
and like they remember the words to my songs at such a young age.
And Luke Combs doesn't miss his Dodge Neon car that brought him to Nashville.
I sold the neon to a friend whose dad needed a car.
I sold it to him for a thousand bucks.
I'm glad I did.
I mean, his dad didn't have a vehicle and really needed one.
You know, everyone's like, man, I bet you wish you kept that thing.
And we're not really.
I kind of hated that car, to be honest with you.
Everyone said I looked like Donkey Kong and Mario Kart driving that thing around.
I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay home, there's something good.
Oh, get your Kleenex ready.
There's a wedding.
And the best man is in the army and he's supposed to be there.
But, oh, wait, he's going to be deployed.
So they go on without the wedding, right?
Well, his deployment got delayed.
So he shows up to his best friend's wedding in his full army gear
and jumps out of the bushes and surprises everybody.
Oh, wow.
It is awesome.
Are you crying?
Well, no, I wonder, did he have to jump out of the bushes?
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
He wanted to surprise him because the groom didn't think he was coming.
He was like, oh, man, dude, I'm actually going to be deployed.
I get deployed at the beginning of January, and he got delayed, and he didn't tell the guy.
And so the guy thinks he's not going to have a best man.
He shows up.
What up?
Thankfully, he didn't replace the best man.
Right.
And he didn't get it back up.
And it's like awkward.
Excuse me out in his muz bot.
Yeah, that's a good story.
And, I mean, the groom is crying.
The groom looks like Tim Tebow.
Do you see Tebow's in wedding pictures?
You know, he got married.
I saw one of them, yes.
Like recently?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, like a week to have a go.
Who used to be Miss Universe.
Oh, wow.
She's very beautiful.
And I think he was a virgin.
He was.
Not anymore.
Good for him.
Maybe he's the first one to be like,
year of marriage, and then...
He just holds on to that.
Sometimes a wedding night, it gets really busy, and it doesn't...
That's right.
People get tired.
That's not true.
It's not?
No.
I don't know.
I've heard that.
I heard that for sure.
Listen, I love Tim Tebow.
He came in here, and I'll add to the time we something to go with Tim Tebow.
He was a great guest.
on our show, but then I went and was doing
some stuff for ESPN, and I was also
doing Paul Feinbaum's television
show on ESPN, and Tim
Tebow was shooting a bunch of ESPN
stuff at the same time, so we're in the same
tour bus, a big ESPN tour bus,
and Tim comes up, like, hey Bobby, what's up?
And I was like, hey, Tim, and I don't want to take too much of his time.
But he sat down for like 25 minutes and just
talked and really focused
on just our car. And I was like, man, this guy's got so much
more important things to do. Yeah. But just
a really
positive feeling dude all the
time. So yeah, anyway,
I know you mentioned that marriage.
Man, she is pretty, huh?
Looking at the picture right now.
Well, I mean, yeah.
All right. That's a good story.
Lunchbox. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobby Bones show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes to us from Lincoln, Nebraska.
A woman pulled up to her apartment,
she noticed two people carrying out her TV,
some other items, and she goes, hey, that's my
stuff. The guy takes off running,
slips and falls on the ice, and he's like,
oh, no, I broke my leg. I broke my leg.
I broke my leg.
So he jumps in the truck
and the accomplice
takes him to the hospital
where police are waiting for him.
How weird to see someone
in the act of robbing your house?
Oh, yeah.
Like that part struck me
is if you're pulling up to your place,
someone's walking out.
One of my friends
who lived in Washington, D.C.,
said that she went up
to her place, her apartment,
and it had been robbed, right?
And it was one of those apartments
that, I guess it's like a townhouse
more than an apartment.
It's two people living there
and it's split in the middle.
And she went, she was, hey, do you see somebody come to the house?
And the neighbor was like, yeah, those construction guys came over and just went to the front door.
And they moved a lot of that stuff out.
They fake, like, construction people and just went in and grabbed all the stuff and left for like movers.
Yeah, okay.
And robbed them in plain daylight.
Isn't that crazy?
Crazy.
This poor guy, not poor.
But this guy who's making his move, fell and broke his leg.
All right, lunchbox at him.
I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Come on, Bobby.
Now you know who's in the Super Bowl, right?
Yes.
Go ahead.
The 49er.
and the Chiefs.
Right.
Now, there is a teenager in New York
trying to make the world a better place
this time, but not to tell me something good,
but a let's make the Super Bowl happen
on a Saturday.
You know, even easier than making it a holiday,
which is people are like,
let's make them Monday after the Super Bowl holiday,
just move it to a Saturday.
It's not a bad idea.
Because, one, we're only doing it on a Sunday
because we've only ever done it on a Sunday.
There's really no good reason to do it on a Sunday
except you go football's on a Sunday.
Well, the playoffs are on Saturday nights
leading up to it at times.
That's great.
But this teenager is now up on change.org.
There are over 30,000 signatures.
And he says, hey, let's move the Super Bowl to a Sunday
because you've got kids going to school.
You got people going to work.
A lot of productivity messed up.
But to me, it feels like the same thing
as the Halloween conversation
where you don't put Halloween on a weeknight.
You don't put on a Tuesday.
You put it on a Friday or a Saturday.
Make it the last weekend of the month
instead of the 31st.
That's what I would say.
Right.
Sort of like we do.
Thanksgiving. Because think about this. Sunday night's Super Bowl, just us specifically. Yeah.
We're going to watch the game. Yeah. We got to wake up real early. If you want to go to a Super Bowl
party till 10 or 11, have a couple beers, eat some food. Wouldn't it just be better doing on a Saturday night?
Yes. I actually had never even thought of that. I always thought, well, okay, the whole Monday
holiday thing could work. But yeah, just move the game. Move it to a Saturday. And some people will go,
well, you don't have enough time off between games and the NFL.
It's a two-week window.
Yeah, plenty of time off.
Between the championship, the AFC NFC championships and that Sunday.
So there's enough time in there, too.
And it's moving at one day.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm yes.
What are you?
Lunch bikes?
No, and it's all that.
They do it because of TV viewership.
More people are in front of the TV on Sunday night, getting ready for school, things like that.
The Super Bowl, well, it doesn't matter where you have it.
It's the biggest thing by far.
You can have it on a Tuesday and it would still be the biggest thing.
Yeah.
The Super Bowl draws an audience more than there's a sitting audience that's already there for viewership.
Well, I like keeping it on Sunday.
I'm good with it.
Eddie?
And we're creatures of habit.
Like, the fact that it's on Sunday is just because it's always on Sunday.
It's only because it always has been.
Let's move it.
I'd rather stay up late and party all night.
And then depending on, like, if your team is playing, like, sure, you might be in a great mood.
But if your team loses, then you have that day to get it all out of your system where you, like, face the world
on Monday. And the only reason that the NFL is on Sunday period now is because they need a day
for college. They need a day for the NFL. Well, NFL, to be fair. And even Friday, Friday night,
they don't put games on Friday nights for the most part because of high school. Like,
all of these sports have their dedicated day where there's like a handshake rule. We don't
put these games over the top of each other. But even the college championships on a Tuesday or
Monday, like a random day. Okay, so three to go sign up. Maybe our votes will change it.
And do you feel by Halloween being on? I think it's a great idea. I mean,
I mean, I think it's smart.
I mean, it's just thinking like, I mean, yeah, planning ahead.
Because Halloween is so tricky, especially if you're a parent and your kids have school
the next day and you're trying to trick or treat and you want to have fun.
Or as an adult, you want to go to a party, hang out, do whatever.
And then Halloween turns into a week-long ordeal anyways because if it's on a Wednesday,
then you've got parties the weekend before.
We've triggered her.
We've triggered her.
She's sinking quick.
So much.
Like, just pick a weekend.
We do it like we do Thanksgiving.
And, yeah.
Thanksgiving.
And let's move Valentine's at a podcast.
Friday too, although this year it is. This year it is.
No, I don't know if that's that big
video, but I mean, you know,
yeah. And it's the same
to me, the same common sense on daylight
savings. Most people don't need it anymore.
Yeah, we don't. I don't see why we need it at all. Pick one time.
Let's just sit on that one time.
Which I think the time is, the better time is the spring forward.
No, I don't care. Just pick the second time. Let me
get it used to the time. Where it doesn't get dark at 4.30.
Or change it once a year.
Now I'm confused.
Yeah.
I'll only change it one.
Like, just move up one year,
let it come back around the next year, move back.
Oh, okay, okay.
Oh, okay.
All right, there you go.
Well, shout out to this kid.
Frankie Rujeri,
who was trying to put the Super Bowl on a Saturday.
I would definitely be down with that.

So I have a list of celebrity first cars.
Scarlett Johansson, a BMW Z4.
Wow.
How do we get to normal people here?
Here we go, David Beckham.
Okay.
Ford Escort.
My bad.
Normal person.
Leo DiCaprio, a Ford Mustang.
His first car was a 1969 Ford Mustang.
Okay, that's like a collector's item.
Well, yeah, he went from Mustang.
Oh, that's cool, to a hard flex.
Correct.
Ed Sharon's was a mini Cooper.
Nice.
So honey now.
The little car.
I went and looked at a lot of those.
I was going to buy it.
I was so pumped.
I was like, I'm going to get me a mini cooper.
I ended up not.
They were big at one point.
I loved them.
I thought they were so cool.
My first car was a 1991 Subaru I got for about 300 bucks.
It cost me just so much to keep it up.
What color?
Red.
Always red.
That car was awesome.
It wasn't my best.
My best was probably the Pontiac Sunfire I had that 200,000 miles.
That thing was a monster.
sunfire. Yeah. But that Subaru was because I got to put my weater in the back seat when I was going
in weed eating yards. That was mine. In 91 Subaru. You? I was in 1985 Ford Bronco, like full size.
Red as well. That's a pretty baller one though. Yeah, I pulled it up. I still want to find it.
That's what she looked like. That would be cool to drive now. Yes. Did you ever take the top off of it?
The top, I don't, well, I don't know. If it came off, I never took it off. But yeah, no. But I
miss it and I regret selling it and I I want to find it but that exact one or that model oh I'd love to
find the exact one I mean but who knows the condition it's in now what is it again a 1985 for
bronco Eddie Bauer oh dang oh Eddie Bauer I don't know what that means like the seats were
different it literally means nothing there was just like embroidered trees on the seat on the on the
seats or something I just remember they were like colorful trees like stitched in lunchbox
I had a 1985
Mazda RX7
No air conditioning, no power steering
Woo, bought it for $1,200
I had to working at the grocery store for eight months
saving every paycheck.
Wow.
Eddie?
Oh, I had a red 1989 Jeep Rangler.
Oh, you've been a Jeep guy your whole life.
My whole life, got it.
And then my dad gave it to me for my 16th birthday.
I couldn't drive until I was 18.
Dang, it's set for 18 years.
It was in our driveway all the whole time.
Because he was just scared to let me go drive.
This is where Eddie gets it from.
Like not letting his kids.
Here, Eddie.
Here's your car.
I'm going to buy my son a phone and be like, all right, I can't use it until you're 18.
Yeah.
Well, your dad bought your car, though.
That's a nice of him.
It was.
It was.
And I would ask him, you know, like every weekend.
Can I take it out?
He's like, no, I don't know.
Next weekend, maybe.
Morgan number two, first car?
It was my mom's Volvo X-C-90.
So whatever she had, this Volvo, like, kind of mom's soccer car.
She passed it down to you?
Yeah.
Did you love it?
I did, but she got in a car accident on my 16th birthday,
so I didn't get it until like a year later
because it had to be like fixed and everything.
So it took me a while to get my first car.
Ramundo, audio guy?
Yeah, Grand Prix GT 1998,
had it murdered out on the windows,
racing, stripe white went on the front.
Your first car was all that?
It's pretty dope.
I had to share it with my brother.
We were twins.
So split it in half.
And how did you guys manage that sharing a car?
He actually didn't get his driver's license.
I don't think until he was 21.
So he just rode with me the whole time.
Oh.
What, Amy?
Well, I'm nothing.
No, I'm just laughing at Ray.
But him talking about being a twin and sharing a car
and we were going over celebrity first cars.
So I went to school with Jenna and Barbara Bush.
And when they turned 16, they got a car and they shared it together.
And it was a Jeep Cherokee, like just a really, not a Jeep like Eddie's kind of Jeep,
but the Cherokee.
Like a four-door SUV thing.
And they shared it.
And they drove it to school like every day.
The Bible Bowl show
Here's Amy's pile of stories
So Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey
Do you know how many times he eats a day?
Doesn't he do dinner only?
That's it.
One meal a day.
And he has a window.
It's typically between 6 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.
Sometimes he'll do dessert,
but dessert to him because he doesn't like to have sugar,
is raspberries, a piece of dark chocolate,
or a glass of red wine.
Dessert to him is stinking of something sweet.
And then the meal itself is like something.
sort of protein and then the veggie.
So pretty healthy for that one meal.
He will do bone broth sometimes the morning.
I've also, I've, I'm.
Oh, have you been researching this?
Well, not that as a diet, but I'll look at people who are eccentric.
And people go, well, this guy's the guy that created Twitter.
How does someone, but it takes something so nuts to create something so nuts.
He also meditates two hours a day and then spends 52 minutes, most of
every day in Asana.
That's a long time
Osana.
It's hot.
Well, yeah, Asana's hot.
Yeah, that's kept an obvious.
But I'm saying, yes, 52 minutes
is a long time.
But yeah, he's a nutty dude,
but again, it takes nutty people
to create things that haven't been
created, like Twitter.
And so, I mean, all those guys are nuts,
but they should be nuts.
All right, what else?
Okay, so anybody in here
is still on Tinder?
I mean...
I guess?
No?
No.
Morgan number two?
Are you on Tinder?
Not on Tinder.
I'm on the other ones.
I haven't.
That Tinder is not a good place
I haven't been on Tinder in years
And Tinder is known mostly as
A hookup app wouldn't you agree?
Yeah, definitely
I'm not in the apps anymore by the way
Good for you but yeah
Read into that what you will
No there's no read into it
Okay
Okay
You're not like really saying anything
You just casually say things
You just like casually say things
You just like casually saying
Giving up on the apps
Yeah I've said that I'm dating somebody
Okay
Well some people don't hear everything
Okay
Oh my God.
Go ahead.
I like the year.
We can make an official announcement in the pile.
I can make it one of my stories.
Let's go.
What's your story here about Tinder?
Well, just in case anybody listening is still on it,
they've added a new panic button feature to trigger an alarm
if something dangerous happens on a date.
And I guess if it's predominantly used as like a hookup,
then you may not really necessarily know exactly who you're meeting up with.
So this panic button must be necessary.
But what do they do if you have the panic button?
I guess.
Is it sends someone, hi, I'm the Tinder savior.
Oh, no.
Like, does someone show up?
It says that it allows users to trigger an alarm that connects them with the services emergency responders.
So like, Tinder please show up?
Yeah, but that's what I'm wondering, like, who comes?
Because if it's a real emergency by the time you pick up your phone, hit the app, you could have dialed 911 and just help.
But I just wonder, do they send like a girlfriend if you're a girl and be like, Becky, we got to go.
We got to, like, is it someone to kind of get you out of situation?
It's like a Tinder task force.
I don't know.
But they don't say much about it.
No, I don't know exactly.
It just says that they have their services emergency responders.
I know that Uber's putting a panic button in their app too.
If you're on like a bad drive, that you can hit the panic button as well.
And that calls cops?
I don't know.
Maybe it calls it Uber service.
Maybe it calls it tender people.
Maybe it's just one unit and they just switch the best.
All right, what else?
Okay.
So Kit Kat is releasing new Lemon Crisp and raspberry cream flavors for Valentine's Day.
so they just sounded really good to me.
I thought there would be cute little miniature ones
that you can throw inside little Valentine's gifts,
which if you're a mom, I'm just going to say too,
me and my kids, and now that they're in like school with other kids,
like, let's get ahead of it.
Let's start making little valentines with our kids
or getting stuff together to take to school
so that way we're not doing it last minute.
Right.
Because it's typically me.
And these might be cute to throw in.
You can find them at Target and grocery stores and stuff.
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the story.
The good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So a three-month-old puppy got her head stuck in a spare tire, and I mean, they could not get it out.
Oh, wow.
Once her little head went through the hole in the spare tire, it started to get swollen, and then she
couldn't go back out.
So they had to call the fire department, and they were trying to figure out the best way to do
it, so they put oil around the puppy's neck, try to slide her out, and that didn't work.
So finally, they used a safety saw to cut her free, and now the puppy's new nickname is,
Wheely pup.
And she's doing fine.
They could have done better than Wheely Pop.
Well, that's what they named.
Because it's a great story.
That's a pretty weakening name.
Weely pup.
And she's doing well since she was freed.
She didn't have to be taking the hospital and they sedated her until she got totally better.
But I'm just glad that she got free and that someone saw it.
Because, I mean, if she got stuck there for too long, that would be bad.
There you go.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Come on, Bobby.
Transmitting.
All right.
Over to Cody in Colorado, who's called the
show. Hey, Cody, what's happening?
Hey, Bobby Bow, in the studio. How are you guys doing?
We're pretty good. What's going on with you?
Oh, man, just working, driving up to Denver right now.
I appreciate the call. What can we do for you?
Hey, I just wanted to tell you guys, man. I appreciate you guys. I listen to you every morning,
man. I've been listening since I lived in North Carolina 15 years ago.
And you guys are awesome, man. Oh, thanks. Appreciate that. And what do you do for a living?
Right now, I got a CDL. I drive.
I have a company who works on freight liners, and I do a lot of driving for them.
Do you have one of those horns that you pull, like, your head that goes, uh-uh?
Absolutely.
With a little kids who will always make that little trucker signal, they want me to hunt for them.
Yeah, yeah, well, it's not a kid right now.
It's me.
I'm a dog.
All right, I'm giving it to you right now.
Let me hear it, Cody.
I'm actually a little steady right now.
Oh, man.
Okay, do it with your mouth, though.
What would sound like?
It would be really loud of, rah, right.
There it is.
We're really hurting today.
All right.
Cody, appreciate that call, man.
I wanted to let you know, man.
I did firefighting for seven years, and I was in the Army as a firefighter.
And, man, we really appreciate people like you who appreciate us.
It goes a long way, whether you guys realize it or not.
And not too many people actually say it to us.
So I really appreciate you guys who appreciate what we do for this country.
Well, thanks, Cody.
I'll tell you, I just know that I am not heroic in any way.
And there is, I know that if it wasn't for folks like our military, our police officers, our firefighters,
and I'm probably missing somebody here.
I don't mean to.
Or EMT.
Yeah, medics.
Like, I just, I don't have that in me.
And if it wasn't for people that are different than me, I mean, I don't think lies will be getting saved because I wouldn't do it.
I can't do it.
I don't have it.
So you, you folks that are doing that and making our world easier and.
safer. I appreciate you. So, well, I hope you have a great morning. And thank you very much.
Have a safe trip. Yes, sir. Y'all too. Take care. All right. See you later. There he is.
Very special, because we're going to get into the morning corny right now. And so all this week,
the morning corny will be told by Dustin Lynch. Here we go.
And now the morning corny with country superstar Dustin Lynch.
What kind of car does an egg drive? What kind of car
does an egg drive.
A Yokes wagon.
All right, there you go.
That was the Morning Corny
with country superstar Dustin Lynch.
All right, that's pretty funny.
The whole thing, the whole setup's funny.
Yeah, that's funny.
Amy will be back next week, though.
Don't worry.
Oh, yeah, no.
You just need a break sometimes.
Yeah, I appreciate it.
Are these Dustin's jokes or did Amy give them some jokes?
I don't know.
Just tell me, she didn't ride on it.
Okay. I don't know.
That's a pretty crazy story.
Psychics told a Kentucky sheriff, they had a premonition that he would find a missing teen safe, and it says they were proven right.
Franklin County Sheriff Chris Quire asked mediums to help him find 17-year-old Haley Martin, who was reported missing on January 13th.
She was found Friday in another jurisdiction after police there responded to a burglary call and found her and a friend trying to break into a house belonging to the friend's boyfriend.
Quire told the paper that he met with a local group of psychics where she was last seen.
The paper reporter the sheriff was first skeptical but said he did not want to leave any stone unturned.
I don't see the hard evidence here, though.
I just see them going, yeah, you'll find her somewhere else and then him find her.
But what am I missing it?
This was a whole headline and I was roped in.
that she believed that yes
sometimes we just need that
encouragement or affirmation
that it's like gonna happen
yeah but I don't see anything here
that leads me to leave psychics
are any more real than I already believed
like they just went 50-50
yes or no tails
yes you'll find her
I really thought this was gonna be one of those stories
where I'm like ooh
like go down this road
turn right dig a hole
three paces to yeah
I'm going to dig a hole
dang morbid
Or something buried alive.
Amy's cousin is a psychic.
And so she came on last year in 2019.
Now here we are.
We're one year later.
You want to roll over some of the clips?
Yeah.
Because we're going to get her on sometime soon.
Yes.
Here is clip number one.
Now this is, I say, will I get a girlfriend this year?
Now, I asked in 2019.
I said, will I get a girlfriend this year?
Here you go.
You're recalibrating some things.
So it's like a girlfriend kind of comes into next year and closer to maybe 20,
What is happening right now?
Maybe next year, more so next year, though.
Wow.
She's kind of right.
Yeah.
You know?
Mm-hmm.
Because I did not get a girlfriend all 2019.
Okay.
I did ask her, will I ever have a drink?
My first drink of alcohol?
Probably not.
You're too much of a control freak.
Okay.
And she's still there.
Right on.
I haven't had a drink yet.
I asked her in 2019,
will I get a dog?
Because I hadn't had a dog since my other dog, Dusty, died, and he was old.
I had them for years and years and years.
And here you go.
Know this.
And this is just me telling you this.
Dogs come back.
So you will know when the right dog shows up.
Like, you're going to know that, oh, my gosh, there's something about this dog that's familiar.
Trust that.
And you will know.
And that will happen this year.
And I got a dog.
Do you see any of Dusty and Stanley?
No, this dog's driving me bonkers.
Yeah.
I know.
This dog does not listen.
But.
And I sent this dog.
Let me get back to this.
Okay.
Because I'm going to finish this here.
I asked, will I ever dance again on TV?
If you're new to this show, I went on Dancing with the Stars and I won.
I know, hard to believe, but I did win.
And I said, by the way, I'm not a dancer.
I don't really like dancing.
But I said, well, I ever dance on TV again.
Well, I heard you won Dancing with the Stars.
I did.
I did hear about that.
Sure you will.
I'll go.
There we go.
Yeah, you'll go back.
Yeah, you'll be like an all-stars round, maybe.
There you go.
Okay.
Um, that's it. She pretty much nailed some stuff. Most of the stuff. The only thing,
number eight here, will I write another book this year? Yeah, for sure.
I did. Yeah, I mean, I guess I started working on that. I mean, that's kind of borderline. But anyway,
she was pretty much right. We gave her a hard time. So we'll bring her back on. If you talk to her?
Yes. She, yeah. I think she lives in Belize now.
But she still, yeah.
Her and her husband, they moved there, but her business is on the phone anyway.
Like, and she has people, clients all over the world.
So she can call in, she said.
Well, she did pretty good with those.
The girlfriend thing, I remember being a little hurt that she said I wasn't going to get a girlfriend all that year.
Because that was early in 2019.
And I was like, wow, I'm such a loser.
I can't get a girlfriend.
And then I didn't.
And then here we are, 2020.
Mm-hmm.
Wow.
Well, so let me know when you want to get her on.
Can we get her on next week?
Yeah. Oh, yes, I'll make it happen.
You tell me the day, we'll work it out.
Okay. Let's line that up after the show,
because I definitely want to get this going here.
Okay.
My dog, let me tell you.
Two things.
One, I will leave town and go shoot some TV stuff occasionally for a couple of days.
And instead of putting him in a doggy daycare,
I'll just send them to a trainer and be like,
I got to put them somewhere.
I might as well take them and have them learn things while I'm gone.
And the dog comes back with the trainer, just nailing stuff.
He's like, what do you need me to do?
Jump through a hoop, no problem.
Load the dishes, no problem.
That trainer leaves,
I dog don't listen to anything I say.
Nothing.
And he has this necklace,
and it's like this little thing on his neck
that will tap his neck whenever I'm like,
I'll say, Stanley, come.
He won't even look at me.
Even if you tap him?
And then I'll hit the button to tap him
and it'll go, that's it.
And he'll look at me and they go, eh, I'll pass.
And he just really.
runs through it sometimes.
So I took it. So yesterday I was like, I'm done.
So I took it off of him.
And I have worked with them a lot at the house.
He's a bulldog.
And you know how to train a dog because you trained your last dog.
My last dog, I had open and shutting doors, getting things, bringing it to me, putting
them up in the, I mean, I literally had them doing crazy things.
And I say literally only when I mean it.
People would come over and be like, how do you train this dog to do so much?
So I use this app sometimes, too, that you can push it.
And if it's cold, I won't go walk them.
I'll just have something.
I'll use this app
to have somebody to come walk him.
It's too cold.
He still needs walks.
It's too cold.
So I hit the app and dog walker comes over.
And so they,
it's like 20 bucks.
They click it on their,
on his necklace,
his little collar.
And so,
and you can message within the app.
And so he walks off.
Like five minutes later,
I get a message from that dog walker.
I'm like, what?
She goes,
he doesn't want to walk.
He's laying down in the yard.
When he doesn't want to,
walk, he just plops down? He's a fat bulldog
and he just goes, boop, right on the ground.
You ain't moving him. Okay. And so
I opened the front door and there he is laying in the front yard
and the dog walker's like, I'm sorry.
And I'm like, uh, so I
goes, maybe he doesn't like the cold either.
I don't know. He's a big old dog. Who cares?
I like Stanley come back inside.
He gets up, he heard me that time. He knows what I'm
saying. And so
I paid her, I paid her $20 and
then I kept him in the house.
I tried to take him with me to, because I'll put him
in the car. I'm trying to train him in my car too.
to ride shotgun.
Just to chill.
I can barely get out of my car before I'm trying to jump out.
I'm in the Starbucks parking lot,
and he's trying to squeeze out of the side of the car,
and it looks like I'm wrestling with someone holding him in the car.
It's just my dog.
I don't know what I'm going to do.
I am struggling.
I spend all my time at home training that dog,
and then I put extra time into him with somebody else.
I don't know if it's because he's a bulldog.
He's about 11 months old at this point.
It's because it's a puppy, but he does not listen.
And I'll say something loud, really loud,
and he won't even look at me.
And then I'll go, treat.
Tium!
Like he will run through a wall for a treat.
He heard that.
Well, what does the trainer say about this?
Do you contact the trainer and say,
hey, right when you leave, he's like, goes crazy.
He's like, it doesn't see it.
It's like taking a car in.
Right, I know.
And I swear to you, it's making a noise.
And then you go in and the car doesn't make the noise.
And you're like, I promise you, it's broken.
So that's my, I spent all weekend with him.
And I can't, he's supposed to be trained and not,
because he doesn't eat people food,
but he's had enough of the instances
where he jumps and grabs out of my hand
and now knows it's good.
So I can't sit on the couch
and eat even a bowl of cereal
because he's right there
trying to get his head into it.
Yeah, that's frustrating.
It's frustrating.
I can't.
I don't know what to do.
But he's so cute.
Don't tell him that.
He's the cutest.
My favorite thing you do with him
is when he's waddling
and you just film him walking
and you put it to a song.
It's my favorite.
So simple, but like, so perfect.
Well, you can have them for that time.
I'm good.
My dog's just as annoying.
It's just so tough because I'm so, I felt like I was so good at training that last dog.
And I spent all my time training.
Right.
So you know it's not you.
It's him.
So, I mean.
This bulldog.
Holy moly.
You know, I don't even want any advice, really.
Because I'm going to get a thousand texts and callers and they're all going to say different things to call me an idiot.
I know.
No, that's what I'm saying.
It's not you.
You're not an idiot.
It is me.
If there's a problem and it continues to happen to you and you haven't figured it out,
it's on you to figure it out or get rid of the problem.
And I'm not getting rid of the problem.
I'm going to fix the problem.
So it is on me.
It is on me.
Everything's on me.

I got a few messages over here in the text line.
Most people are saying if it's an English bulldog, that's kind of normal, that they're very stubborn.
Some are saying that it's these millennial dogs.
They don't act like.
That's funny.
Someone said the dog does not see me as the alpha yet.
Yeah.
Well, I got news for you.
Nobody sees me as the alpha.
It's not just a dog thing.
Have that thing with a lot of the people in my life.
Yeah, you know, nanny Cam Stanley
so you can show the trainer how he acts when he leaves.
I don't.
There's only seen the trainer twice, by the way.
It's not like he goes there all the time.
But the two times he has been.
But there is some sort of demeanor or something that the,
or alfanness, that the trainer's giving off that vibe
where Stanley's listening to the trainer.
He should listen to me.
I feed him.
I put him through five surgeries.
He came out broken.
You should remind him about that.
He was a runt broken dog that nobody wanted.
You know who took him?
I had this talk with him.
You were a run broken dog.
Nobody wanted you.
You know who nursed you back to health?
Me.
He doesn't do anything.
He didn't care.
Oh, okay.
He's just chilling.
Last night, the Grammys, I can go through some stuff here.
Billy Eilish wins album of the year.
Billy Eilish wins, record of the year.
Billy Eilish went song of the year.
Here's the song of the year.
running through some of this.
Billy Elish won Best New Artist.
What's she went for?
She won six?
Wow.
Her brother won six.
I don't know.
All I know is she's the youngest person to ever win for Song of the Year.
So because I think she's like eight.
She's not.
She looks eight.
She's 18.
She's the youngest person to be nominated for and went all four of those honors.
I didn't watch the whole show.
I watched some of it last night.
Here's what's irritating about the Grammys is that
they're saying that these people that won may not even really won.
This is why the awards now are kind of tarnished a bit
is because I vote for the Grammys in the thing,
check box checkbox are all these categories
and then those nominees go up.
But what they're saying now,
this Grammy CEO who doesn't work there anymore,
says it's rigged.
She says in the complaint that committee members often nominate artists
they have personal or business relationships with
or nominate artists for categories that align with live performances during the award show.
Sometimes artists for these nominations sit on these committees.
It's all a conflict of interest and that people are being nominated and winning the awards because of that.
So, which makes sense because, listen, some of these awards, just so out of touch with what's happening.
Not to Billy Eilish stuff.
Best Country Solo performance, Willie Nelson ride me back home.
So here's this.
Love Willie Nelson.
I wish I could gather.
But is this really the best country solo performance?
He can barely seem.
I love Willie.
But the Grammys do pick cooler artists that people normally wouldn't pick for these categories.
Correct.
I'm not hating on Willie.
You didn't vote for this one?
No.
No.
And then I'm not even hating on it.
I like it.
I know.
But I'm saying it was the one you would look at and go, I bet that one wins because nobody thinks it'll win.
You know, Tanya Tucker, Best Country Song, Bring My Flowers Now.
It got the cool vote.
And there isn't better or worse.
With art, you just look at it and everybody has their favorites.
There's no such thing as one's better than the other, really.
But again, that's what happens with a lot of the Grammy stuff.
But then when you read all this, that people are actually teeing up, folks.
Yeah.
You're just like, really?
What's next?
Nothing's real.
Well, I was going to say.
Well.
I was about to say something, but then I forget we have little ears that listen right now.
Oh.
Good.
Thanks for that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But good for them.
Maybe the country ones are all the only legitimate awards.
Maybe those are the ones.
But again, with the Grammys, you kind of roll your eyes out of sometimes because it's almost like the Academy Awards.
Sometimes they pick the stupid people that you would never think of because all the voters are pretty like, me.
I'm so cool.
I don't.
I pick the most pop ones.
Mainstream.
Yeah, it's like I would pick some of the.
I'd pick some Marvel movies for the Academy Awards.
You know, I thought the final Avengers was great.
I thought it should win an award.
That that movie was good enough to win something.
It won't.
But anyway, the Grammys were fine last night.
I didn't even watch all of it.
What am I talking about?
I watched like a quarter of it, then I was like, I'm out.
And I'd read there was all this cheating, and I was like, I'm out.
But congrats to Dan and Shea.
Legit.
There's was the one for sure real.
For sure, for sure, for sure.
For sure, for sure.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
You know, I love it when these students nail their standardized testing.
A-C-T, S-A-T.
We even had a kid on from Arkansas who scored perfect on A-C-T.
A couple times because I'm so fascinated with the kids because I just wish it were me.
Yeah.
Like I'm so envious in a really wonderful way.
But this kid, Stephen Kea, a high school junior, has also earned a perfect score of 36 on his ACT.
and then the SAT, the high score is 1,600, he scored a 1570.
Like, he had to miss like one question.
So he's almost nailed them both.
Only about 300 of the 1 million students who take the SAT get the perfect score.
Man, and he is just at it.
Some might call him an overachiever.
He plays in the orchestra.
He's on the track and baseball teams.
He's on his school leadership board.
He volunteers his local hospital.
He spent six weeks last summer working on a biology.
project with a professor at Hofstra University.
Oh, wow.
But then he nailed these tests.
So I'm talking about, and I love this kid.
I'll clap for him.
I don't even know if you listen.
But Stephen Kea, keep doing what you do.
And by the way, Caleb Malap from Arkansas, appreciate you too.
There you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Shit.
Copse urge anyone in Pittsburgh who hears a mysterious recording of a baby crying
to keep your door shut and call 911.
Hmm.
Sound familiar?
Yeah, well, here's what happened.
Amy told us years ago about it.
This is how long ago it was.
It was an email forward.
Really?
Like, I got an email.
That wasn't even like a Facebook share.
Yeah, like, if you hear a baby crying outside your door, don't answer.
I'm like, if I hear a baby outside my door, I'm going to answer it immediately.
She was like, it's a gang.
And they're putting out a fake baby cry to get you to open, and they beat you up.
Right, right, right.
Police in the south side of Pittsburgh have received four reports of a recording of a baby crying
and a child crying out for help outside people's homes.
The majority of those targeted appear to be college students.
Pittsburgh police have failed to find the source of the recordings on arrival.
They say keep your door shut.
They don't exactly say that it's gangs,
but they say something's up.
Something's trying to lure you out.
And another thing that they'll do is put like a baby car seat thing,
like on the side of the road.
So like you'll see it and you'll stop.
and you'll be like, oh my gosh, is there a baby in there?
And then they hijack your car.
It's true.
Are you sure?
I mean, it hasn't even been a gang thing yet.
They're just saying it could happen.
But you did say that a long time ago.
Yes.
Nothing bad has happened yet.
There are no reports of people getting jumped yet.
But be aware.
But I'm telling you if there's a baby crying outside of my door, I'm going to open the door.
I'm going to take that chance to save that baby.
Well, open the door with protection.
Like open the door with your gun or pepper spray or.
Something.
Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch.
Stop it, stop it, stop it.
The coronavirus, I just sat at home and read about this all weekend.
The doctor at the hospital in the place where this coronavirus started, Wuhan, dies after treating patients with coronavirus.
Yeah, that's heartbreaking.
He was 62.
Now they say that, and I'm reading different reports, I think I read 80 deaths so far.
And the story that I was.
watching this morning because it is growing is that they can't even tell when people have it
and that you can pass it before you even get the symptoms of it. Wow. The kid at Tennessee Tech
not he's negative not virused. The kid at Texanem not virus came back negative. The
US has confirmed cases in Washington State of Chicago and most recently Southern California.
Canada says it discovered its first case Amanda's 50s. It's that.
movie Bird Box is the last one to do this,
where all of a sudden it was like,
that's not real, that's not real, that's not, oh my goodness,
don't look at the bird, whatever it is.
Oh, the light.
Whatever it is.
Yeah, the thing.
Southwest Airlines removes pasture from a plane
in Maryland amid coronavirus concerns
after they had flu-like symptoms.
Oh, wow.
The passenger had recently been in Beijing.
Correct.
Okay.
Holy moly.
You didn't have it.
Better safe than sorry, I guess so.
The sick passenger had completed the journey
from Las Vegas, but was escorted off the plane once it landed at Baltimore, Washington
Airport Saturday afternoon.
Passenger was referred to medical for evaluation.
This doesn't say that he didn't have it.
Are you clearing him?
Dr. Garcia here.
Are you clearing him?
I read that they checked and he was fine, but they were taking precautionary measures not
to risk it.
Hospital staff wearing adult diapers to care for coronavirus patients.
What?
Hospital staff in Wuhan are wearing.
adult diapers while treating the patients.
They don't have time to use the bathroom because there's so many people coming and sick with it.
Oh my goodness.
So they're just wearing diapers.
They're also building hospitals.
They're two hospitals they're hoping to have up within two weeks.
In one of them, they show all of the bulldozers in the middle just digging because they're building these hospitals so fast.
The Chinese city of Wuhan is set to build another hospital in six days in order to treat patients suspected of contracting the coronavirus.
There are currently 830 confirmed cases.
China has a record of getting things done fast.
Yeah, they said they can build another one at six days.
Wow.
Can they come here and do stuff for us?
It's like two years to build a garage.
Like, what?
I know.
Well, I'm worried, obviously, because I worry about all of that.
This morning, I got a little sniffle.
Oh, great.
I was like, Corona.
And don't you think in a boardroom somewhere,
the folks at Corona beer are going,
dear God, let this pass.
Oh, I'm not associating the two, you think?
Corona?
I know, but I'm thinking of a...
I know, but you don't think that there's...
Like, you think it's affecting sales subconsciously?
Maybe subconsciously.
Any time that you're attached with something negative
where people are dying.
Yeah, that's true.
I do think that's something.
I bet they're like, come on.
Let's get, come on, find a cure or...
Yeah.
Call it something else.
Yeah, like, why I know...
Yeah, they're like, call it Mickelobultervirus or something.
Budweiser.
Oh, man.
I hate that.
I hate that that everybody's getting sick.
I hate that that people are dying.
I hate that that it's coming this way.
Because you know it is.
How did it start?
Did people know how all this started?
From like a fish market, right?
Well, that's what Bobby sold me.
Yeah, I'm your number one.
That's where I get all my corona news is from Bobby.
I know.
And we only laugh because we're nervous.
I'm nervous.
Yeah.
I probably read like 10 stories about it last night.
So there's your, there's your Corona update.
I mean, and the fact that nurses don't even have time to use the restroom.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, my.
I'm not seeing those Amazon workers that, they're factory so big and they're being held to work.
You ever see that story?
No.
And they have to wear adult diapers because they don't get breaks.
Oh, wow.
That's...
I'm not sure that's real.
Mike, can you look that up?
I do think that's a thing.
Here, in America?
I think so.
No.
Does Bezos know about that?
I'd like to preface that by saying that just came off the dome.
Sounds like it.
I mean, you're just.
I think they would handle that, put up a porter potty or something.
Just Google Amazon workers adult diapers and see what comes up and throw it up on the screen if you don't mind.
I bet you there's something to it.
Wow.
If you ever do that to us, although I will say.
Here we go.
Hold on.
Here we go.
Amazon warehouse workers skip bathroom breaks to keep their job, says report.
An undercover reporter and a labor survey exposed harrowing work conditions.
I told you.
That's horrible.
Why don't you guys listen to me?
Well, I hear you now.
I just wanted to hear the article.
Calm down.
But I mean, there are times where I have to like raise my hand and be like, can I go to the bathroom?
Amy, that's not the same thing.
Sometimes they use bottles instead of actual toilets.
Oh my gosh.
There are a lot of them.
Mm-hmm.
Well, anyway, wash your hands, folks.
Wash your hands.
And not even just this, any flu, all flus.
Wash your hands.
If you fly.
What do you say?
Stay home.
Yeah.
Stay in your doors.
Five unwritten rules.
should be following every single day, but you aren't.
I've read over these.
I'll go over them with you, and you haven't heard them yet.
Can I get a drum roll, Raymondo? Number five.
RSVP, even if you can't make the party, reply no, because that way they don't account for you.
Yeah.
Do you do that?
Yes.
Oh, good for you.
I don't.
You just ignore it.
Are you RSVP if you're going, but that's it.
I for sure RSVP if I'm going.
And a lot of times I don't know, so I just kind of leave it, but I should be better at that.
I don't do that.
Okay, sometimes there's a maybe button.
Yeah, I should be more deliberate and saying I'm not coming if I'm not.
Point one check in the bad category for me, but I'm going to get better.
Life's about learning.
Yes.
I just learned something.
I should do that.
Okay, number four, if you borrow something, don't let someone else borrow it from you.
Yeah, no.
I know that rule.
You?
I don't borrow things.
Oh.
I'm afraid.
I don't ever want to have something and not be able to give it back.
And sometimes accidents happen, so I don't try not to borrow it.
lend things out though all the time and then never expect to get it back oh because that's that's just
how it be sometimes sweet i remember that no you know that he does all the time what it doesn't matter
what i wear if he likes it he'll go like he you go like you can wear that again even if he knows i'm
gonna wear a bunch of times because he eddie is now the guy that gets a lot of yeah you've started
giving him your clothes hand me downs and but so it's to the point that ridiculous stuff where we know
always I'm not going to give it away, but it's like, hey, how much you like that shirt?
But Bobby, sometimes you do a thing where you give something to someone and you think you let them borrow it, but you gave it.
I don't think that's true.
That happened with my George Strait shirt.
No, I didn't give it to you.
It happened one time, not some time.
And he's like, you're often known for this.
No, I do it.
One time I let you borrow my George Strait shirt.
But what do you do when you borrow, lend things out to people?
You just don't expect to get it back because you gave it to me.
Okay.
Number three.
only suggest to split the check evenly,
even if you ordered way lesser expensive stuff on the menu.
Meaning if you and I go to dinner,
let's say I order four steaks and you have one piece of lettuce.
Yeah.
And we're splitting the check.
You still split the check down the middle.
That's the rule?
That's the rule.
Oh, okay.
I would say I abide by that.
As a matter of fact, I try to go, let me get it.
The whole thing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That way it just eliminates the awkwardness.
Yeah.
Number two, do not swipe a left.
Left or right if someone shows you a photo on their phone.
I mean, don't go through the roll?
Yeah.
Oh, I'll do that like crazy.
If it's a close friend, I'll do that like crazy.
If it's somebody I don't know, I don't really grab people's phones and look at stuff anyway.
I have them show me with them because I don't want to drop their phone.
It's like sometimes listen to say, hey, can we get a picture?
Let's do a selfie and they'll hand me their phone.
And I'd be like, no, no, no, you take.
Not because I don't want to touch their phone.
But two, I don't want to drop their phone.
Because then I'm responsible for paying for the thing for breaking.
Yeah.
I had to teach Stevenson this one the hard way.
What?
Oh, he had someone's phone and he swiped and he saw all stuff.
Whose phone?
And what do you see?
I don't want to talk about it.
Was it a girl?
Because I'm going to say who.
That's a guy.
What?
I'm going to tell you, I don't have a single picture of my ding-dong.
You shouldn't.
You should say that then I, Stevenson started dying laughing.
You laugh?
I mean, if you're nine.
Of course he laughed.
terrified.
I would laugh too.
I think I would probably laugh and I think the phone was hot.
Get it out of my hands.
So I go over and then I'm like, what are you doing?
I'm like, oh my gosh.
And then I'm like, my eyes, my eyes.
I will never unsee that.
And now I'm picturing it now.
The guy?
Wow, was it Steve Mochler?
No.
I think of all our guy friends.
Steve Mullen.
Eric Pazley?
Was it Walker Hayes?
No.
No, but I mean, we had to have a long talk with him.
No, you don't go through people's phones.
Will you tell me off the air?
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Let's go to break.
We cut off right in the middle of the segment, just to know who's weiner it was.
Oh, we're eight.
Okay.
So don't do that.
Don't swipe left or right.
And then finally don't want up someone when they finish telling you a story by telling
one of your own.
Yeah.
But what if your story is really good?
Agree.
Sometimes if I have a good story, I'll bite my tongue and not say it.
Just save it.
Or bring it up way later.
Hey, you know when you were talking about so-and-so earlier?
That's a thing too.
Yeah.
Check this out.
You think that was good.
I can't wait to know.
I know.
Okay.
Yeah.
Is he famous?
No.
Oh, boy.
Was it Al Dean?
Was it Jason Aldi's Pee?
Tell the truth.
I can't even look at you right now
Let's do 60 second showdown
Over on the phone
Why don't we go to Shannon in Virginia
Shannon how are you? Good morning
Hey good morning studio
You good? You good?
I'm good, how are you?
We're pretty good
We're going to give a chance to win $100
We paid off everybody so far Mike D right
Mike was at my house asking for money the other day.
He was like, hey, I need some cash.
And I was like, are you all right?
Like, we pay you pretty good here.
Like, he got a big raise last year when he became like the head writer,
content guy at the show.
And he was like, I need some cash.
And he goes, what's up?
He goes, I got to pay those people that beat you and win Bobby's six second showdown.
Okay.
So I'll ask you 10 questions.
If you get all of them in 60 seconds, you win $100 of my money.
Okay, Shannon?
Oh, I hate to take your money, but I'm ready.
Yeah, you can take it.
Have you heard about this game before?
Yes.
I play every time you play it and I win every time.
But now I'm like, oh, super nervous.
Every time.
Wow.
Okay, so basically you have to get one right answer every six seconds.
You have three categories to choose from.
You have the Bobby Bone Show.
Disney movies or science.
I'm going to hate to say it, but I'm going to do Disney movies.
Oh, wow.
All right.
This is Shannon and Virginia.
Shannon, what do you do for a living?
I own a bakery.
We actually catered for you at the Paramount in Charlottesville a couple years ago.
We met you.
You were sick, but you still showed up and did an amazing show.
Like you felt sick.
At first I thought that was her adjective for you.
Yeah.
Some people would say both.
Like, I was sick.
You were literally sick.
I was ill. I was ill.
Okay.
And listen, I want to say quickly, I love bare grills.
And I watch your show.
I love how he says,
will be. You did an amazing job and I instantly cried when he was talking to you about your life.
And I have some of the same past experiences. I grew up with humble beginnings and it really touched me.
So you did an amazing, amazing job.
Well, thank you, Shannon. I appreciate that. Well, now I'm rooting for you more than I was.
Here we go. She has, I was already rooting for you, but here's more. You have 60 seconds, 10 questions.
Ramoond, you'll start the timer at the end of the first question.
Here we go. Question number one.
What time did Cinderella's godmother say this spell would break as Cinderella was going to the ball?
Midnight.
Correct.
In the Lion King, what was the name of Simba's uncle?
Scar.
Correct.
Carl Fredrickson is the name of the old man in what movie.
Thank you.
Incorrect.
What Disney movie is about a Ray who dreams of becoming a great chef?
Rat, about a rat.
A what?
Repeat that.
It's Ratatoo.
You get that one from free.
What's the name of Captain Hook's right-hand man?
What's the name of Captain Hook's right-hand man?
Oh, pass.
Which Disney character fell down a rabbit hole?
Oh, um, Allison I'll.
Correct.
Jafar is the villain in what Disney movie?
Aladdin.
Correct.
Where did the movie Lilo and Stitch take place?
Hawaii.
Correct.
In which Disney movie would you find the character, Sebastian?
Oh, uh, uh, uh, Little Mermaid.
Correct.
What Disney movie is about an arcade game character?
Oh.
That final question is, who is always tired of being the bad guy?
Who is always tired of being the bad guy?
Yeah, what Disney movie is about an arcade game character who is always tired
to be in the bad guy?
Oh my gosh.
I don't know.
I don't know.
That one is Reck it Ralph.
Going back up.
Oh, yeah.
Captain Hook's right-hand man was Mr. Smee.
Definitely did know that one.
Never heard of him.
I did not.
Carl Fredericksson is the name, not in Pinocchio, but in Up, Up.
Yeah.
The old man.
Oh.
I gave you Ratatoui.
There was a typo on my page here.
It said, what, Disney movies about a, it says a ray.
And I was like, a movie about, I thought it was going to be Nemo.
Yeah, that's what I thought too, finding Nemo.
But Mighty yelled rat from across the room, so he gave that one to you.
You probably would have got that for sure anyway.
I said it.
Did you not hear me?
I said Ratatooey.
Oh, well, you got it anyway.
Yeah.
You got it anyway.
How made you get right? Seven?
You did it. You did okay. You did okay.
Yeah, those were tougher than I thought they would be.
Yeah, it's always tough when you get on and you do it with the pressure.
It is. It's so much easier when you're the water cooler, you know, quarterback and you're sitting in your car and you're like, man, I kind of got that.
What were they thinking?
I enjoy watercolor quarterback. Water cooler quarterback. Yeah, that's a good name.
Thank you for listening.
Yeah, you know, Monday morning, you're like, hey, why didn't he, you know, go to the quarterback?
the tight in instead of the wide receiver.
You're like, oh, that was a stupid pass.
Well, you did good.
Mr. Smee and Rekett Ralph, I would have never got those either.
So thank you for listening, Shannon.
Appreciate you.
And thanks for the nice words.
Welcome, honey.
Have a great day.
We love you guys.
Thank you.
We keep us a good work.
We listen every single day at our bakery.
We love you.
Let's shout out that bakery real quick.
What's the name of that bakery?
It is sweet mayonnaise.
We actually have a line of keto desserts that we promote.
So I don't know if you're saying,
doing keto, but we'll send you a box so you can try them.
Sweet Nana cakes.
Yeah.
There you go.
Everybody checking out.
We're in Stanton, Virginia.
All right.
Hey, thank you.
Just more now, the ones that didn't make it back home.
All right, have a great day.
You too.
Bye-bye.
See you later.
Appreciate it.
All you guys for listening to.
Bye-bye.
Thank you, bye-bye.
Thank you, bye-bye.
I'm like a flight attendant when they leave.
Thank you, bye-bye.
Have a good trip.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.

It's a Bobby Bones show.
Love it that you're here.
And you should really,
if you're not on the I-Hart Radio train yet,
it's free.
You can listen to our show live
if you just search the IHart country channel.
Let's say you're driving around.
You don't know where you are.
You're lost somewhere in America.
But the only thing you know how to do,
let's say you forget all your memory.
Like, I don't know how to do anything.
But the only thing you know how to do,
is work that IHartRadio app.
You don't even know what station you need to listen to us on.
All you have to search IHart Country.
We're live right there on the IHart Radio app.
I would encourage you to check out.
I have a music podcast that I do.
And Michael Hobby from A Thousand Horses was a guest,
and I did an interview show with him.
And so they have, right, do you have smoke of that song?
And so they talk for an hour.
And I know I mentioned it earlier,
but he talked about, and it was really cool story
about how they got a deal and they were dropped.
They got a deal, and that deal didn't work out.
And the third deal, and they just don't give up.
It's a real great podcast with him, and he's also related to the Black Crows.
And so it's a cool podcast.
But Eddie and I did another one yesterday that I forgot to mention earlier.
It's songs with crazy twists.
So it's not an interview one.
It's just us talking about songs with crazy twists.
For example, what's the twist in a boy named Sue, Amy?
Do you know the song, Johnny Cash?
Yeah.
Oh, something about the dad who's trying to teach him to be tough.
That's it.
Nice.
So the whole song, it's him, Johnny Cat, or Sue, trying to find his dad.
He's ticked.
He was named Sue.
And he finally finds his dad.
And you're like, oh, boy, here it is.
And they get into a fight.
And then at the end, he was like, hey, man, I knew I had to go.
And I couldn't teach you how to be tough.
So I named you Sue, so that would teach you to be tough.
Yeah.
That's a twist.
Yeah, good twist.
I'm expecting that.
So we did a bunch of them.
Do you know this song called Pina Colada song?
This is my favorite one.
If you like Pina Colada.
You ever heard this?
Yeah.
Get a new.
You know what it's about?
And there's a twist at the end.
I guess I don't know.
Okay, so this whole song, he's basically putting out a personal ad.
And it's like, hey, if you like Pina Coladas and if you like walks in the rain and you like, whatever.
So he's putting out this ad and he's going to meet this girl.
And finally he meets the girl.
It turns out the girl who comes to meet him is already his girl.
And they're both like, oh, it's you?
And they laugh.
And then Amy, he says, I didn't know that you should be Nicolados.
Okay.
And then Eddie and I kind of debated in the podcast, they both should be mad at each other.
Yes, right.
But if they're both mad, does it equal out?
Are you back to even?
Yeah.
And then it led them to each other.
Yeah.
And then maybe it reignited their flame.
Right.
Check out that Bobbycast.
We did it yesterday.
Songs with Crazy Twist.
And we also broke down Kelsey Ballerini's song, L.A., which isn't part of that.
We did new music as well.
but we broke down that song too.
Nice.
There you go.
I like it.
Ramundo is our sound guy, our audio guy.
He pushes all the buttons as we do the show.
So if you hear like a clip or something,
he probably edited it and then he's pushing the button to play it.
We have this glass room that he's not in the same room that we're in,
but I can see him through the wall.
Kind of looks like Joey from Friends.
Kind of acts like Joey from Friends.
Ramundo, I hear you had a miserable Uber driver experience.
Yeah, so Chick ended up leaving her fun.
phone. Your chick. You can say your fiance. Fiance. I left a restaurant. She left her phone. Couldn't
find it. Ended up finally getting a hold of the Uber driver, but he wasn't going to give it back to us.
How did you get a hold of him? I believe it shows their number in the app. So you can go back to a ride and you'll get a number, but they don't have to answer. They don't have to text you back.
So we get to talk into the guy and he's holding the phone ransom. He wants $100 to give us the phone back.
And we look in the app, it says $15. It's a normal charge for that. But he goes, no.
Pay me through PayPal or you're not getting the phone.
So he comes to our apartment complex, sits outside,
will not give us the phone unless the PayPal transaction goes through.
So did you have his full name?
Yeah, we got it.
Did you have it from the app, though?
No, but we got it from PayPal.
So I hit up Uber after the fact and I was like,
hey, probably not how you're supposed to do business.
This dude would not give the phone back.
So we had to pay him.
Can we get some kind of a refund or refund something?
But you gave him $100?
Yeah.
Did you go down and do the exchange?
No, my buddy's bigger.
We told Ross, we're like, dude, go down there, talk to this guy.
So he went and he had the PayPal transaction and went through and they gave my fiancee her phone.
Gosh, that's scary because they know your address when they're dropping you off and then they know,
like you don't want to ruffle feathers with someone like that that's kind of not acting, right?
Because it's crazy.
Well, if someone acts fishy in one way, they're probably doing other stuff as well.
So you paid, why would even give the, if I was just going to run a rotten scam, I would go pay him on PayPal and then I would never give you the phone back.
Like if I was going to be a bad person, I would commit to it.
But you paid him and he gave it to you.
Yeah.
But I'm still talking with Uber.
It's kind of a cluster.
Well, they're not going to give you the money back.
They're supposed to because it says there's only a fee of $15 for the phone.
So he overcharged us by $85.
I guess my point is you could run a scam on Uber and go, hey, Uber, we did this.
And you paid a buddy $100 and claim they did it to you.
I just don't, it's out of it.
But he's not a buddy.
He's an Uber driver.
He's in their database.
As a driver, he was on that trip with us.
We're not just making all the.
And the transaction went down right after the trip.
rip ended. No, I get it. And you're being treated unfairly, but you could easily make that a scam
with your friend who's an Uber driver. Like you drive Uber? Yeah. I could easily do that scam with you.
It's not worth it. This guy's probably going to lose his job. I mean, he got a quick hundred,
yes, but not looking good right now in the long term. I'll tell you that. What kind of car did you drive?
It was a big old SUV type van because I believe six of us were in it. So he gave him 100 bucks.
Worth it? She needed her phone. She felt like he was never going to give it back, which now that we
think about it. Of course he was going to give it back. We maybe should have negotiated a little bit
better. Could you not give them one star? How many stars do you give them? Uh, I get it's on a friend's
app, so I'll ask them, but. Amy, what would you have done? Man, I probably would have paid to get it
back for sure, because I don't want to cause more drama, even though that is so wrong. It just,
I wouldn't want them to come back and like, kill me for not paying. You think he, it escalates that
quickly. I always go, I always escalated to like, I'm like, what is the worst thing that
can happen. I'd rather just have my phone back, give him the money, and him never think of me again.
Well, that's unfortunate. Does your fiance show a ring off of where she goes now?
Oh, yeah. Doesn't matter. Bar, restaurant, wherever we go, she's always got it on. If she doesn't,
I look at her funny. So you want her to show it on? Yes, especially at the house, I always say,
polish that thing up. Let me see it. Is it a big to-do when you guys go places because you're
newly engaged? Everybody's like, oh, they're here. Everybody's always exciting.
I mean, big stuff's happening now. You know, they're going dress shopping. We're doing couples brunch
I saw she wrote on Twitter yesterday.
She said, did she say yes to the dress?
She said yes to the dress.
Oh, wow.
That's awesome.
And so I saw the, ended up being the dresses that were turned downs, but I never
obviously saw the one she picked.
Oh, so you haven't seen the one she picked.
You saw the one she rejected.
Which, there were some smoking ones, man.
They don't put a lot of coverage on these dresses anymore.
Honestly, it'll look more like lingerie than a wedding dress.
I'll tell you that right now.
All right.
Everything's good, though, in your world?
Very good.
All right.
I was reading the story about junk drawers
and I only have one in my house
because I really try to do a good job of
putting crap out of the house when it's crap
in the stuff I might use into one drawer.
You?
Yeah, I have a junk drawer.
But do you have multiple drawers?
We really just have one junk drawer
and it collects a lot.
Oh, it's a big one.
Yeah.
Well, they say loose batteries in a junk drawer are a fire hazard.
Really?
Because if metal comes into contact
with both the positive and the negative post of a battery.
It calls a short circuit.
And it could, there has been a few junk drawer fires that have happened.
I had no idea.
And we have batteries in our junk door for sure.
You know what we both struggle with, but you more than me is drawer.
Dore.
Yeah, I mean, I don't do great at it either.
But I say drawer.
Dore.
I mean, it's just a word you're not supposed to say slow either, I don't think.
Just get it over with.
You just say junk drawer.
But now I're thinking about it, it's harder to say.
So anyway, if you have a bunch of batteries,
raising a junk drawer lookout. Okay. We're done for today. Amy, what's going on with you?
Speaking about junk drawers, my pantry is kind of like a hot mess, but I'm excited because I work with
California closets and they're coming to do like a new pantry install. So I have to get it kind of,
I want to get it cleaned out and organized so that it can be put back together really amazing.
So I'm excited about that. So I'm cleaning out my- We are so adult. You brought me metamusal
for a gift and then you're excited about a closet clean out. For my pantry. Yeah, I know. What about
you. Let's see. I have, it won't be up today, but Paul D. Giovanni, who is a producer and a writer,
and was also in boys like girls before he came over and wrote a bunch of hit songs. I was doing a
bobby cast. I'm going to box today. I sent a friend and his kid over to box with my trainer, Jared.
And so his kid's six, and he was like, my kid's really looking to box. And so I sent them over
today, and they're going to go and do that, and I'm going to go over and see Jared right after that.
So I'm going to go over there.
I'm going to work out too, but do that.
And then I go back and start shooting American Idol.
I leave here Wednesday evening to fly to Hawaii.
It's been fly all day to Hawaii.
And you go and you're in the sun all day,
so I got to get that Hawaii spray tan tonight.
So it doesn't look so fresh that I'm just a little orange.
Because day one, you're always a little orange.
I don't care how good a spray tan you got.
The first day afterward, you're a little bit orange.
He's a little bit orange.
So I'm going to get that tonight too.
I got a pretty busy day, but I'm all right.
I feel pretty good.
Yeah.
Big week.
That's the deal.
Thank you guys.
I'm on Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
And I did not get my shoe.
I thought my shoe video was already up, but it's not up.
I will be putting it up very soon.
If you want to see my favorite five pair of shoes right now,
because I do these favorite five videos, that will be up today at Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram.
One of them, what, is a pair you got me.
Really?
Well, yeah, it's the, it's the, um,
Christian Louvitans.
Oh, that made the list.
Well, yeah, and I couldn't put it number one.
But all the rest of them I put the price on them, I didn't put the price on those.
Oh, okay.
I just put question marks.
You don't even want to know.
They were a gift from Amy.
You don't even want to know.
But that video will be up on my Instagram today, Mr. Bobby Bones.
Thank you guys.
Hope you have a great Monday.
We'll see you on Tuesday's show.
Goodbye.
