The Bobby Bones Post-show pre-show.
I'm going to make it quick here just because I don't have all my voice.
and eventually I've got to rest it.
And so if I'm out here doing extra,
then,
then I'm never going to heal.
Yeah.
And I have a bobby cast with Lori McKenna tonight.
Oh, yeah, you got to do that.
And we've only, it's only falling through like three times.
I've been sick.
Oh.
And she's like the unicorn.
And I know Lori personally,
but she lives in Boston,
and Lori's written like every song.
We'll post that tonight, huh?
Yeah.
So I follow the Bobbycast.
hopefully my voice comes back mostly
I was nervous about last night
Opry Eddie and I had to sing
and I played the clip
I went to listen to it again
in the clip of us singing
on Instagram
on my Instagram
I mean we've sounded better
but for what we were dealing with
I thought you were sounding good
what we were dealing with pretty good
I think both of us are pretty like critical about it
because
like I was nominated for CMA vocals
the year last year
and when I don't fully
No you weren't
Oh it was just you
He was just me
I forgot to tell you
I forgot to tell me
I forgot to tell you.
So I'm just going to say what up
and that we appreciate you listening.
Anything you want to say, Amy gets to a quick one.
Oh, well.
Amy does a new podcast,
sort of inside of her podcast.
That's really good.
I'm telling you, it's really good.
Amy has a podcast called Four Things with Amy Brown.
I'll say this.
You don't need to say it.
Okay.
And now she has a follow up in the middle,
and it's just good.
What do you have to say?
It's a fifth thing.
Yeah.
Well, it's a Q&A.
Yeah.
About things you've talked about in your past podcast.
Yeah, or any questions, yeah,
that people submit.
I'll address it.
Even if I haven't talked about on the podcast, it might be a question I get.
And I feel like if it's, I don't know.
It ranges from heavy stuff to light stuff to products I like.
Yeah, it's good.
I thoroughly enjoy it.
Thank you.
Yeah, you're welcome.
Anything else?
Lunchbox.
Man, co-ed soccer tonight, guys, wish us luck.
We're on a four-game losing streak.
We need some good mojo.
Oh, that's no way no.
What are you going to do?
Here's what I've heard about you is that you're secretly injured, but you don't want to admit you're old.
Uh-oh. Who said that?
Who said that?
Do you have an Achilles injury?
I do have an appointment today.
And you don't want to talk about it because that means you're losing a step.
Because you didn't really injure it. It just hurts.
Yeah. Yeah, it just hurts.
And I haven't said anything and it's been bothered me for about a month.
And so I finally made an appointment to go to the doctor.
So I go today at 240 to get it looked at.
Do what I do.
Stick a needle in me.
Well, I don't know if I want to do that.
I mean, if it comes down to that.
H-G-H in my shoulder right now.
That's cool.
Yeah.
That's like Sylvester still out.
I asked.
I was like, can you give me the kind that gives me muscles?
And they're like, no.
Is this like the Lanz Armstrong?
No.
I wish.
Oh, okay.
I tried.
You're cycling to work now?
I was like, if I'm sticking a needle in my body,
can I at least get some muscles out of it?
There's bobbing his bike.
No, it's like to heal.
Oh.
It's a healing.
It's not a steroid.
It's a human growth.
But my shoulder, yeah, HGH.
My shoulder would, and I could be saying it completely wrong,
but my shoulder would not heal for months.
And I got to check out again
and make sure there's no structural damage.
And since there's not, I can go ahead and make it feel better.
Because the problem is I've been told
is if there is something wrong with it and you shoot it up,
you're still damaging it and not knowing it because it doesn't hurt.
And eventually you have to stop taking the HGH.
You don't just do it forever.
You do it like a cycle.
Be careful of that stuff.
But I'm having to inject myself.
Crazy.
see. This is me every time
with that needle. Oh my God, oh my God. And then sometimes
I bounce it off my stuff. No. Yeah, no.
That's, that's... You just have to do it.
Yeah. Well, I know, but he's trying to do it.
It's like, here it goes. Here it goes. Boink.
Oh, it's terrible. That sounds terrible. You got to do what you got to do.
Lunchbox, good luck, buddy. Thank you very much.
Pray for me. Sorry, I read it you out.
Oh, is that you? Oh, you're a little squealer?
Sorry. I got an... It's just a note of my desk.
There's a little secret note.
Okay.
He's like, he's keeping something from us.
Make a note of it. On this podcast,
talking about the date I went on.
Yep.
And I know the risk of talking about that stuff.
I know you guys are going to be like, is it love?
But you know what?
For the good of the show, I like to share that.
We're just curious.
I know, but I don't want me to think it's anything more than a date.
But it was a good date.
Great baller date.
Should I only make dates now when I'm like playing the operator of the rhyming or an idol?
Yes, basically.
TV appearances.
Hey, listen, the only day I have is when I'm on the finale dancing with the stars compete for the championship.
I can probably do something like for 15 minutes before.
You want to come?
It's all like...
Sunday night, what do you do?
Well, I'm hosting the Grammys.
Yeah, I don't know.
You can hear that.
We're idiots.
Thank you.
And we're going to...
Sorry, this is so short today.
If you do like the post show, pre-show, I can tell you, when you guys do say,
you tweet me and say, you listen, I appreciate that because it doesn't make me feel good.
Because sometimes we just go on and on here.
I don't know if you like that or if you're like, just shut up and play the show already.
At Mr. Bobby Bones.
All right, that's it.
Thank you.
And let's start the show.
It's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
We're transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones.
Come to the show.
Got a nice Wednesday show for you.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Hey, Samantha's on Indiana.
Hey, Samantha.
Hi, how are you?
What's going on?
This is so cool.
I've tried to call in before, but I've never gotten through.
I think maybe when lunchbox tries to get weight and everything, so everybody calls in there.
Let me ask you a question about that.
When you call, and I guess you get busy,
signals? Yeah. How many shots
do you give it before you go? Eh, not for me.
Just one. Oh, wow. You give up quick.
Well, I usually, I mean, I work, so that's kids.
All right, all right. I'm off work. I have kids, so.
What can I do for you?
Well, I just wanted to say that we love the raging idiots.
I live in Bloomington, Indiana, and you're not on the radio here, so I listen on
I-heart.
If my mom's friend listens, but I don't know anybody else to listen, so
It's kind of like
My own little thing
My obsession with Bobby phone
Nobody else understands
But my 7-year-old
I think I bought the CD
The Rating Idiot when he was five
And then my 18-month-old
Currently is like obsessed
Do they like our new smash hit
The Emoji song?
Yes, we listened to that
At the dinner table the other night
You know it really wasn't meant to be a kid song
No it was
It kind of meant to be an adult
love song? But the kids love it. But it's meant to be like
a millennial love song, you know? Yeah.
Because it's emojis. Yeah, because it's about emojis.
So they're into it. Do you know the hook? Can you sing
the chorus? I don't know.
Yeah, you can. I'm pretty bad. I'm nervous right now.
Give it a shot. Come on. You got this. You got this.
We got that. Emotty
Love, oh. Emozy
Love Oh.
Yeah.
Come on. All right.
Hey, thanks a lot. Hey, do I have something
I can give her back there? I like this call.
Hey, do I have something in the back? Can I give her a
A treat or a gift?
A treat.
Also, can I say something else?
I'd love for you, too.
We went, I was pregnant with my 18-month-old two years ago at CMA Fest, and we saw you
at River Fun.
That was so much fun.
Oh, yeah, you told them.
I wish I would have, like, got a hold of you on social media to see if we could meet you,
but my five-year-old, my son was five, then.
I'd have you over to the house.
And, like, he was so, he had the best time ever.
It was great.
Well, thank you very much, Samantha.
Hey, I'm going to put you on hold.
I'm going to put you on hold.
I'm going to get you something.
I'm going to sign it.
you, okay? Okay.
The Bobby Bones Show.
Big Three Stories.
Our producer,
Ray Mundo, is in the glass room
with a stack of news.
Ray Mundo, what you got?
Yeah, trip advisor named the
Top Beach is in America, and it's Clearwater
Beach in Florida. They're the
winner, and in all, Florida landed
seven of the top ten. In other
News, Rotten Tomatoes, they banned reviews
ahead of the release of the superhero movie
Captain Marvel in a crackdown on trolls.
The movie isn't even out yet, and people are already
leaving reviews. And finally, in
Recall News bags of green beans and chopped up squash sold at Walmart at been recalled.
They can make you sick, take them back for a full refund.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
I saw this online, didn't know if it was real.
This kid post a picture goes, my grandfather just ate a gallon of paint.
I thought it was yogurt.
What?
What?
No.
Yeah.
So, I was like, that's not real.
It was real.
A granddad Downs, half a pot of paint mistaking it for yogurt.
he's 90 years old
then you're just feel bad for him
you're like oh man
well don't you lose some of your taste buds when you get old
I think you lose a little bit of everything right
yeah but he's unfazed
he feels fine
I totally thought this was a joke when I saw it online
it was a meme so he had
mistaken a can of mint green paint for his favorite
food item and he ate a bunch of it
and then the grandson discovers the half-empty
can of paint
oh my goodness and his lips
agree.
Yeah.
Of course.
Oh, no.
I mean, the jug of paint sort of does look like yogurt.
Here's what the grandpa said.
Let's see this.
Apparently, I ate the paint this morning.
It honestly tastes better than yogurt, so no regrets.
Poison control laughed at me.
They said, I'll be fine.
Wow.
Yeah, there's another one I saw where they saved this dog in the pond.
Do you see this story?
So, these end up being telling me something good a lot of times,
where these workers, and it's freezing pretty much everywhere,
except Tampa. Shout out Tampa.
Who always calls us with the little stories.
These construction workers
saw a dog in the river, a frozen river.
And so they go, all right, everybody
get down. And they
cleared the path for the animal. They broke the ice
up. It swam right down
the broken water path
that they made for it. They
got the towels. They dried it off. They warmed
it up. It was a wolf.
Whoa. Oh my goodness.
Could have ripped their
face off.
He's like, come here.
Come here, Lassie.
The vet said that considering the wolf's condition, it would not have been able to get out of the river.
So they did save an animal.
The wolf was not in any condition to attack because it was so whooped from the water.
Regained its strength was released back into the wild.
It is not anyone's pet.
They did not adopt it because he will kill them.
Right.
Basically.
But yeah, they thought it was a dog.
It was a wolf.
And that nutty too?
Yeah.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two, 30-second skinny.
The top country albums this week include number one Florida Georgia Line,
Can't Say I Ain't Country, number two, Luke Holmes, this one's for you,
and number three, Casey Musgraves Golden Hour.
Cole Swindell shared that he hopes to open his own bar one day,
a coal in the wall, he joked, but he shared,
look at the people that have bars, I've got a long way to go before I'm there,
but it's a cool idea.
Casey Musgraves performed at the Houston Rodeo show this week
and treated the crowd to a surprise cover of Selena as a tribute to the 24th anniversary of Selena's final
concert in Houston.
You can see it at Bobby Bones.com.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
For the sheriff's office in South Carolina, and they both got booked for the same late night shift.
Well, the problem is they have a baby.
And when they got put on the schedule at the same time, they're like, oh, no, what are we going to do?
Well, deputies that work with them
Went to pick their baby up from daycare
And watch their baby until they finish their shifts
Oh, really?
Yes.
So they just said that it's cool to work for a place
That is like family
And that will be there for you like family
And I thought, yeah, that was nice
Maybe give it to a good inmate too
Oh
What about that?
Okay
Hey, Otis
Your chains coming
You busy?
What's up, Loss?
Hey, Holly
Hello?
Hey, thanks for calling the show.
What's going on?
Oh, nothing much.
I'm first time caller.
I just wanted to tell you guys hi.
Thank you very much.
Where do you live in Texas?
I live in Brenham, Texas.
Man, we love it there.
We all used to summer there.
Did you know that?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Bluebell ice cream.
Bluebell.
That's right.
In the house.
Yeah.
Cookies and cream in the house.
With the wooden spoon as a kid.
Yeah, the little one.
You got some little cup in the little wooden spoon.
Oh, shit.
Yes, absolutely.
And you get to take the tour through the, well, I guess.
you do now, but again, since it was closed down and all. But yeah, anywho, today is my birthday.
This is the coolest thing ever. Oh, come on. There it is. That's awesome. Well, happy birthday
to you. Do we have stuff to give people? Do we know? Books. Yeah? We have a book. We have
multiple books? Your new one. Can I send you a copy of my book signed to you, Holly?
Absolutely. I just bought, um, uh, what's it the last one? The Bobby Bones? The last one. I just
started reading it and I'm talking to you and now I can't talk.
You bought, fail until you don't.
My second book?
Okay.
Yes.
I'm going to send you a sign copy.
Is that okay?
That is awesome.
That is awesome.
Thank you.
Well, I hope that book brings you much joy and inspiration.
And I just want to tell you guys, thank you so much.
I've been listening to the show for about two years now.
There's some girlfriends here that are die-hard.
They listen all day, every day podcast, you know, the radio show on the way to work and
they turn me on to you guys.
And I recently turned my husband onto you guys.
So when we travel, he's like, so are there any new Bobby Bones podcast?
And since y'all's new emoji song came on, I've been listening to it constantly.
And I'm like, come on, honey, sing with me.
He goes, no, I don't want to get it stuck in my head.
So I'm like, okay, fine.
So the other day I walked in the kitchen and I hear him.
He's totally singing it.
He's singing that.
Moji loves up.
We got that emoji love.
Hey, well, happy birthday.
stay on the phone. I'm going to hook you up. I appreciate your calling and listening and, I don't know, just being so nice to us, okay?
Thank you so much. I appreciate you guys very much.
All right, hold on a minute.
I'm going to be honest with you. I did not expect people to like this song as much as they do, Amy.
It's good.
We thought it would be kind of fun.
Yeah.
We're getting offers to play shows all over the country.
Woodstock. Really?
Coachella.
By the way, that was Tell Me Something Good. I just knew she was her birthday. I wanted to put her on this.
This story of the day.
This story comes us from Elkhart, Indiana.
A couple came home from shopping to find a minivan in their driveway and a guy in their house, you know, stealing some things.
They come in, they're like, hey, what are you doing?
He goes, hey, whatever you do, don't call the police.
I'll give you $200.
So he pulls out his wallet and gives him $200, and he leaves.
They call police.
He was arrested a mile later.
So did he steal anything?
He was in the house stealing things, but he left everything.
Oh, so it was just like, don't tell.
Here's $200.
So we got arrested and lost $200.
Those dishonest folks.
They promised they wouldn't call the cops.
Oh, they did.
He took his money.
They promised.
All right.
On Lunchbox, that's your Bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby bones.
They say the next time that you run out of shaving cream,
and you're like, I got nothing used peanut butter.
Oh, I saw that.
And I just was like, oh, you would.
really after every swipe
have to...
Clean the razor?
Yeah, for sure.
They say don't use crunchy, though.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that idea.
Yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, that's the thing.
Use peanut butter.
So this morning.
Bobby Bones.
Yeah.
Hey, Jordan Davis is on the phone.
He has this song.
That was a jam.
But now his song is this one.
That's a jam.
There is.
Hey, everybody.
Hey, I had to Jordan Davis. What up, dude?
Bobby, what's up, right?
How you doing, man?
Doing good, man.
What are you doing the morning?
What are, like, country rock stars doing the morning?
Well, the rare mornings when we get to wake up at our house, I usually just sit on my couch and watch the sports center.
Yeah.
That'd be nice, huh?
Real nice.
Who do you live with?
What's that?
You and your wife live together?
Yeah, we do.
Anybody else?
I've got two dogs, man.
What kind of dogs you got?
I got a golden doodle and a cavapoo.
Sounds like two breeds you didn't pick.
Now tell me more about this.
The cavapoo.
What's a cavapoo?
It's a King Charles Cavalier and a Cocker Spaniel mix.
Did they mix on purpose?
Yeah.
I think so, man.
It's like a thing.
It wasn't like an accident.
Okay, then what's the other one?
A golden dutle.
That's just a golden retriever and a poodle.
Yeah.
Huh.
So I actually did, I did pick the golden noodle.
but my wife's dog is the Cavafoo.
What are their names?
Louis is the Golden Duder, Virginia is the Cavafoo.
Oh, look at this.
Yeah.
Eddie, what are you laughing about it?
It's very interesting.
I didn't picture Jordan with his kind of pets running around the house.
You mean this humongously bearded dude?
You're like, I thought you'd have a rut, like that way.
Yeah, something like a big German shepherd or something.
Like a dog with a beard.
Yeah, like, I got to say, I was always, like, we had beagles growing up,
because my dad loved a rabbit hunt, and then we moved to the labs.
So we had, like, black labs.
And then once we got the Cavapoo, man, she, like, she got me, man.
She stole my heart.
I love that little dog.
And most of the things that end in a poo or a do, or doodle, they don't shed, do they?
No.
Yeah, it's amazing.
That's a thing.
They're hyperalogenic.
Hyperalogenic and don't shed.
It's awesome.
Well, listen, we have Yonkech's doing so good this week, and I was talking about it, and I felt,
free talking about it because I know you a little bit
and I was like you know what first time I heard
take it for me I was like all right all right then I was
like that's pretty good and now I love it
like it's growing on me
that's awesome man I appreciate it that's one that
I mean it's one of the older songs that
came off the album but
it's a special man I covered that with my
brother so we kind of had a
had a goal to come to town and
eventually get hopefully
the goal is the number one song together
so it's uh it's looking like
I got shot but uh
But this one is, you know, every song's special.
But this one's got a little bit, a little bit more to it, which is pretty cool.
So you and Jacob wrote this song together?
Yeah, yeah.
Man, I mean, I mean, it's like, go number one, make that money.
Yeah.
But, I mean, it is cool that, you know, the whole family kind of got behind it, which is, you know, it's just, and it's been a cool thing.
And, you know, I don't get to see Jake as much as I used to it now with the song being out, you know, we're able to celebrate.
You know, I mean, we celebrated when it got the top 20, celebrated when he got the top.
10, so it's been a lot of fun, man.
Let me say a few things about Jordan Davis on the phone right now.
He joined Old Dominion on their Make-It Sweet tour, currently touring at the end of April.
Nominated for ACM Award, New Male Artist of the Year, be joined Rascal Flats.
And on January 18th, he tweeted that after his tour with Jake Owen, Jake gave him a golf cart as a present.
All that happening.
Just one thing after the other.
Well, listen, my friend, I'm going to play, take it for me now.
I just want to talk to you, see how you were, see how the dogs were, see what the dog breeds were.
dog breed's names were.
All that, man.
I appreciate it, Bobby.
Thank you, man.
You good, though?
Everything else is good, man.
Rocking and rolling.
Y'all doing good?
Yeah, we're good.
We're working.
Working and rolling.
Rolling and rocking.
That's what we do.
All right, Jordan.
Have a good morning, man.
Good talk to you.
Awesome.
Thank you.
All right.
All right, there is, Jordan Davis.
Hey, it's Bobby Bones here.

Amy, everybody.
Yes.
Over to my right in his Kansas Jayhawks hoodie, how many days in a row you think you wore that hoodie?
Probably seven or eight.
Seven or eight days in a row, lunchbox.
And over to my far, far, far right.
tease up their editing videos. Sometimes I
disrupt his work to play a game.
Oh, our video producer, ready? Oh, hey, Bones.
All right, ready guys? Thanks for the claps, guys.
I clapped. Write your answer
down when I play a song. Ready?
Ready. What movie's this from?
Kiss me. Sixpence
none the richer.
I'm in. I'm in.
I'm in.
All right. Lunchbox, what do you have?
She's all that.
That is correct.
Amy?
Ten things I hate about you.
No. Eddie.
Sisterhood?
No.
Dang.
And lunchbox takes the lead.
All right, here we go.
What movie is this from?
Lady Mamelot.
Missy.
Loc Kim.
Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Maya.
I'm in for the win.
Lunchbox?
Mulan Rouge
Ami
Mulan Rouge
Eddie
Mulan Rouge
There's
Lunchbox's still in lead
Right now
Next one
What movie is this song from
Coolio
Gangsters Paradise
You know what
I got it
Oh my gosh
My gosh
Come on Amy
All right three seconds
Oh shit
Oh shit
What are you doing?
I'm talking about, there's a Michelle Pfeiffer in it.
She's a teacher.
Maybe. I don't know.
Who knows?
It's a school.
Hey, Michelle.
I don't know.
Don't I have a timer for them?
Hot teacher.
Way expired.
Yeah.
I now have a five second timer, you guys.
Wow.
If ever you're down to five seconds, all I have to do is hit this one button and then it's, here you go.
Here's a five second timer.
Amen.
That's stressful.
Yeah.
Wow, that's stressful.
Okay, that's the timer.
Okay.
Let's go over to lunchbox.
Lunchbox.
Dangerous minds.
That is correct.
Wow.
He got it.
Eddie?
Dangerous minds.
Correct.
Amy?
Hot teacher.
Oh.
Name the movie this is from.
Oh.
There is so much a man can tell.
There's so much you can say.
My power.
Five seconds.
I'm in for the win.
It's not.
It's not crowd.
All right.
Let's go over to lunchbox.
Never heard that song in my life.
Hitch.
What?
You never heard that song?
Y'all, seal?
That's seal.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh, goodness.
I was like, I have no idea.
Wrong button.
Amy?
Batman.
Judges?
Are you kidding?
Are you kidding?
Are you joking me right now?
Too generic.
That is Batman.
Okay, fine.
I don't know.
Is it a dark night?
Here's what we'll do.
I think to be fair.
Be more specific.
A dark night?
I don't know other Batman movies.
Eddie?
I have Batman.
Do you want me to be more specific?
Batman returns?
No.
Batman Revengers?
Batman Forever.
No.
I wouldn't know that.
I would have given it to you and say Batman?
but Mike D wrote the game
He needs the one laying down the law
Good luck in the parking lot Mike D
What are you going to do, jump him?
Hold on, just saying.
Mike D starts to get jumped by these threats.
This reminds me of something
I said to Steve Harvey that I shouldn't have.
Well, on Family Feud?
Yeah, I don't even know if you know I said it.
What did you say?
Oh, and I hugged him.
What did you say?
After something happened, I said,
you better make this right, Steve.
I already say that.
Okay, but after I think about it now sometimes
that was a threat.
Like, he could have kicked me off
stage.
Well, that's why the producer came over and asked if you were okay during the break.
Yeah, I either.
Yeah.
Wow.
Eddie don't know about this part.
That's intense.
It was so bad.
What movie is this from?
I'm going to be a kid, movie.
Time's up.
Time's up.
Lunchbox.
Lego movie.
No.
Let's go over to it.
Amy?
Trolls.
That's correct.
That's it.
That's trolls.
Yeah, it's trolls.
Lunchbox and Eddie, you're now tied.
Amy's Back One.
Oh, dude.
I'd be a kid movie.
All right, here we go.
In this movie.
Everything is our song.
Everything is cool when you're part of a team.
When we live...
I'm in for the win.
I hate that sound
Lunchbox
That's a Lego movie
Eddie?
Lego movie
Amy?
Lego movie
Oh wow
Nice to win
You're welcome
All right last one
Come on
Name this movie by the song
That's safe and sound
That's safe and sound
By Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars
Amen
I'm in.
I have no idea.
All right.
Lunchbox, I'm going to hold you back.
Okay, thank you.
Eddie, I'm going to hold you back
because if you get it.
You can win if I get it?
No, you can tie, though.
Okay.
What do you have?
Hunger Games.
Correct.
What?
Lunchbox.
Closer.
Eddie.
The notebook.
No.
Taylor Swift wasn't even like born.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Are you ready?
Oh, everyone's tied.
Tye.
Oh, my goodness.
Name the movie just buzzing.
Oh, what?
You got it.
You got it.
Bones.
Go ahead.
Did you just call me bones?
No.
No, I did.
No, I didn't.
He did.
I said buzz.
Oh, buzz.
We have to buzz in.
I never can buzz fast enough.
Yeah.
Just say your name.
And go.
All right.
Making sure you guys are like three.
Why would we go blind?
There's so many movies.
He's smart, though.
As soon as he hears a clip, he yells.
Well, calm down.
I do not.
When I know the answer, I yell.
Ready?
Name the movie.
Lunch box.
Lunch box.
I mean.
The body go!
The body go!
You don't buzz, you don't have a chance to win.
Okay, okay.
I'm just telling you.
He's telling you the truth.
I don't know how many times he has to be smarter than you guys.
Maybe the whole history of this show in order for you guys to realize.
I've done it before.
I've done it.
Yes.
And then you feel dumb.
And now you have that new music.
And now you don't even get a shot.
You don't even get a shot.
Okay.
Do you have another one?
Do you have another one?
Do you have another one?
In five seconds, she'll stop talking.
Let's see.
Do you have another one?
Sorry, time's ever talking.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Listen, to cut down on the overall amount of sickness that is happening in the workplace right now,
officials are urging people to just take a sick day.
Like even if you think you might be sick, take a sick day.
If your coworkers are sick, take your sick day because if they come to work, you're going to get sick from them.
So now's the time of year over it's just all spreading like crazy.
So if you've got a day, take it.
You know what, if you're sick, take it.
That's all.
Don't feel like I'm waking up and I'm going to get.
Yes, that Frank over in cubicle C6, I'm calling in.
I had a friend recently who refused to, she knew, or he, he knew that a coworker was sick and was still coming to work.
And he called in, he's like, I'm not coming.
If you keep letting him come to work, I'm not coming.
You need to send him home.
I'm okay with that.
Okay.
I'm okay with that.
If you're sick, you should not be at work.
Even you guys, I tell you guys, do not come in if you're sick.
I come in if I'm sick.
Because the show's got to go on.
Right.
But you guys do not need to come in.
If you're sick, there's this bad standard that's been set by our culture that you need to work all the time regardless of how you feel because it makes you look weak if not.
Now, what looks weak is if you stay sick for weeks because you're not letting yourself heal up in a few days.
Or if you're passing it around and everybody, except for me, by the way.
And it says here, sleep is how is the best way to fight an illness.
It's a restorative medicine.
So when you deprive yourself of rest, like Bobby's saying, you continue to work.
Just go ahead and take the day or two off that you need.
Get rest.
Try to talk to a doctor.
Get better.
I'm going to tell you what I did.
This is my new thing with sickness.
That's all I did was sleep and drink water.
And I slept like four times.
And I just slept and slept.
And every time I slept, it either got worse or it got better,
meaning it had to run its course.
It ran its course faster because I was sleeping or it got better faster.
I slept so much.
And I was on the road doing stand-up in Iowa.
So I would sleep all day, wake up in half hour before, go do my show, go right back to sleep.
I did it for like three days.
And I did it.
I agree.
Sleep is the best medicine.
All right, what else?
So if you're someone who's always hot at night, but your partner is always cold, well, there's a new blanket that is perfect.
It's called the blankini.
And it's designed so that one side can be opened and flipped down.
And then there's zipper down the middle where your partner can shimmy right into the blanket.
But you're still sharing a blanket.
you just each have your own side.
And they make them for both king and queen beds.
And they're on Amazon.
Blankini.
It made me think a lunchbox because he's like always sweaty and ugh.
And then his wife is probably not.
So you should get her a blankini.
I'll look into it.
What do you guys do?
Have two different blankets?
We have two different blankets.
She sleeps under the comforter.
I have my own blanket.
See?
They need a blankini.
You still sweat all night?
Some nights.
Some nights it's just gross and sweat and get up, towel off and get back in bed.
Do you have to towel off sometimes for something?
Yeah.
Gross.
What else?
So of the three men right here,
Lunchbox Eddie, Bobby,
how many of you dreamt about your wedding day as a kid?
Never.
As a kid?
No.
I don't think even I did.
I do now a bit, but not as a kid.
Okay, so you're more so now in your, yeah.
Yeah.
Y'all are married.
Did you?
No.
No?
No.
Never.
Not what.
It says here two thirds of men have been dreaming about their wedding day
since they were a kid.
But I got 0 for 3 right here.
Yeah.
And I'm not even so.
Manly, I wouldn't want to admit it.
I just did it.
Two-thirds of men also say they were just as excited as their spouse on their wedding day, if not more excited.
The average man has five panic moments during the wedding planning process.
And these are the areas in which men are most involved.
First of all, who's in the wedding party, the guest list, the budget, picking the date and the invitations.
Other than that, it's all up to the girl.
Like flowers, cake, colors, all that.
I feel like Bobby, you'll be involved in every single step.
And guess what, people?
If you're just now tuning in, Bobby's supposed to be married by December 2019.
That's this year, huh?
Yes.
It's coming up.
Better get somebody pregnant.
Wait, what?
Nothing.
Go ahead.
No.
No.
Okay.
Never mind.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Yeah, it's something good.
Fifth grade kid in Colorado.
bought his buddy some colorblind glasses
because he knew he couldn't see colors
and he went to his mom
he goes can I get him with glasses?
He's my best friend
and the mom's like
yeah but you got to earn the $250
bucks yourself.
Oh wow.
So he goes out and he mows yards
and he does chores
and he saved up
and he bought him the glasses
and he said he gave him the glasses
and he watched him put him on
and then he did him have silent
for a long time
and he was like you okay
and he was that silent for a long time
he's like hey
are you okay
and he started crying
because his first time
he'd ever been able to see color.
Wow.
Isn't that crazy?
Yeah.
The kid just wanted to do that for his buddy.
Ah, that's good.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
The Bobby Bones show.
A little early.
We got Abby Anderson coming in with her keyboard.
You guys are going to love her.
Trust me.
You're going to love it.
She's going to do a lot of cover songs too.
But Abby Anderson's going to come in,
one of my class of 2019 artists.
By the way, she played football.
Oh, wait.
I'll tell you about that later.
Over to Amy now with the Morning Corny.
The Morning Corny.
Did you hear about the cheese factory that exploded in France?
I did not.
There's nothing left but debris.
That was the morning corny.
The Bobby Bono show.
Abby Anderson is here.
You may know this song from her, Make them Wait.
You may know that she's one of my class of 2019.
There she is.
There she is.
Hello.
Good morning.
I didn't know you hadn't been in alone as a guest yet.
No.
No, so I'm really excited to be here.
Thanks for having me.
You know, you came out and you opened some shows for me on the road.
Yes.
And Amy should get her piano and she'd go out and she'd just play.
She'd make her band leave and then she would just play.
And she'd play Georgia.
Let's do that.
Why don't we start with that?
Let's do that.
Yes, sir.
Abby Anderson is here.
And she's in here with just a keyboard.
Is Abby playing?
You've been playing piano for how long?
Oh, goodness.
I started when I was five.
How long is that?
that 10 years she's 15 whatever no no I want I can't do math am I was homeschooled I
can't do math down fast in my head shoot long time you're not 15 though well I'm very much
older than 15 all right here we go here goes solid Georgia family here we go
Georgia Georgia old day through this and oh sweet song he's Georgia
on my mind I said a job
Has moonlight through the pine.
Reach out to me.
A smile tenderly.
Still in peaceful dreams I see.
Georgia, I'll find just an old sweet song.
There's Georgia on my mind.
Something like that.
Come on.
Come on.
She's so good.
You know.
Pretty good for 15.
Yeah.
Abby, I was on my answer story, and I was flipping through my answer story, and an ad came up for Rob Thomas.
And it was like, Rob Thomas is on this, like, Chip Tooth tour or something.
And it was like with Abby Anderson.
And I was like, I also have a friend named Abby Anderson.
So does he.
It's you.
It's me.
Man, I'm so lucky that he would ask me to come on tour with him.
That's going to be fun.
How did you get on a tour with Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20?
That's called Danga Manager right there.
That's what that is.
Yes, sir.
Yeah, I just got a call one day.
And I just gone, you know, lots of stuff happening in the New Year.
So I wasn't expecting a summer tour.
I really wasn't.
We were booked with festivals.
I was like, that's great.
We're going to fall tour.
And then I got a call that, you know, I was going to, I got a Rob Thomas tour offer.
And it's all major markets for two months.
And I love Rob Thomas.
That's crazy.
I thought it was awesome.
That is awesome.
Look at you.
I mean, quite the jump.
Open it for me to Rob Thomas.
I know.
Yeah.
Or is it a step backward?
Oh, you were the peak of my career, Bobby.
Thank you.
They won't get any better than that.
Why Rob called her.
Oh, I didn't think about that.
I didn't think about that.
So do you know any, like, of the Rob Thomas solo stuff?
I know that my favorite song by, I'm a sucker for love songs that ever the same.
Oh, yeah.
Did I follow me?
I have some of that here.
You have that one?
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, my gosh.
Ever the same.
You play a verse and chorus of that?
Do you know it?
see what I do.
Oh, what's here's like.
Follow me.
There we go.
Here we go.
Follow me.
We're the same, yeah.
Call the same.
I can't sing it.
Follow me.
Tell me.
I love his voice, man.
Love it.
I'm so excited.
That'd be good.
And it is.
It's like two months of shows every single night.
So I'm excited to learn something from Mr.
Rob, you know.
Did you know that Abby played football in middle school?
I didn't.
Yeah.
Were you the only girl on the team?
I was.
I was that girl, you know.
I was raised.
I'm like you.
You always say you're surrounded by women growing up.
I'm the second oldest of six girls.
And so in our family, we always did everything the boys did because we had to mow the lawn,
all that stuff.
So I told my mom one day I wanted to try out for the football team and she drove me to practice,
probably mortified and embarrassed out of mine,
but she was at every game, her and my dad.
What position did you play?
I was running back and wide receiver.
Wow, so you can move then.
I can run a little bit.
That's crazy.
And so how many years did you play?
Oh, gosh.
It was like two.
It was like sixth and seventh grade.
Did you feel like the guys were taking harder shots on you because you were the girl?
I was probably taking harder shots on them because it was like my opportunity.
to just hit people, you know?
So I don't know if they did, but I don't know.
It was fun.
You know what I saw you doing online was you did Post Malone,
better now?
You probably think that you love better now.
Do you know how to do that still?
Just do it low if you do.
I'm going to say it.
You probably think that you were better now.
You know I never meant to let you know.
It gave you everything you probably think that you were better now.
Better now.
You've only said like those.
You got to stop.
That's good.
No, you're good.
You're good.
You're good.
You're good.
Good. Abby Anderson is here, which by the way, Abby is going to be playing if you're in Nashville on April 1st, the class of 2019.
It's Abby, Abby Anderson, Lauren Jenkins, Tinield Towns, Rachel Womack, and Kaylee Hammack, all five artists who this year, I was like, they're going to blow up. Love them, love them, love them.
I actually have your new song that's not out yet.
Ooh, yay.
Have you heard it?
No.
I was kidding.
I wrote it, but I haven't heard.
So it's called Good Lord?
Yes, sir.
And it doesn't come out.
People won't be able to hear it for a while, right?
This, in March.
Okay.
But I can, like, just play a little club by the way.
Yeah.
I've had the gun.
Ready for that one to get out there.
Thank you.
Is the first time everybody's played that?
That was the first thing.
You were the very first, Mr. Bobby.
Come on.
Thank you.
Okay, so you're at home.
Is that your instrument that you play?
Is that where you're right?
Piano's, my man.
I dabble in guitar, but piano's the main.
So if you're at home and you're bored and you're just like,
I want to play something I like love playing.
What do you go to?
Oh, you know.
I go to.
Are you mean just one of my songs?
No.
Not one of your songs.
Like something that you just love.
As a, every breath you take.
I love this song, man.
Every move you, every smile you fake.
Every step you take, I'll be watching you.
I love that one.
She's so good.
So good.
Thank you.
I kind of want to be her.
I know.
Oh, you're so nice.
Thank you.
We went and after a show, we went to, where do we go?
Cheesecake Factory?
Oh, yes.
That was so good.
Thank you for taking us out to dinner, too.
It was very nice.
And we ate all, I don't even like, I don't normally eat cheesecake.
And Abby, like, we got to get one of this, one of that.
Order all the tips.
It's like, Bobby was paying, so I'm like, shoot, man.
This is got to last, this meal's got to last me all week.
I'm going to make it count.
Like you, Abby.
Thank you.
Thank you for picking that up.
It was very kind.
You're so good.
I'm so happy you're in the studio.
I'm so happy you and Jimmy did that song together.
So when your song is ready, you were going to come back and we're going to do a whole thing.
And I didn't want to do a whole thing with new music here now.
I just wanted to introduce you to my audience.
Thank you.
You're a pleasure.
Thank you.
You bring smile to the room.
When you left the other day, everyone's like, wow, she's really fun to be around, really cool.
Oh, thank you.
Anything you want to play us out on?
Yeah, okay.
This is one that will come out to, I'll just play a verse course.
All right, love it.
Abby Anderson, everybody.
Thank you.
A new song that doesn't exist yet?
New song that does not exist yet.
It's called Not in the Picture anymore.
Here we go.
Up with the sun coming through the pines.
Let my favorite lip gloss and line my eyes.
Listen to the Beatles when I drive.
And I still got you on my mind.
It's exactly how your dishes in the sink and the counter is still a mess.
And there's roses on the shelf still drying out.
to the closet
still hangers on the ground
that picture frame
your mama gave
you're still hanging by the door
you're just not in the picture
anymore
there's a little snippet to that
come on
thank you
thank you guys
I appreciate it
Amy's already clapping
all right
we'll see you a month or so
and that new music's ready
yes sir
I'll see you on
April 1st
April 1st
I love her yes sir
Well, you feel old for a while
And then you realize she doesn't
She doesn't to like six year olds too
Like kid will be like
I get some candy
She'd be like yes sir
I do though
Abby, good to see you
Thank you Bob
Good to see you
And we'll see you soon
Abby Anderson everybody
I can talk about my date last night
If you'd like
What do you want to know
I mean I guess I want to know
How it went from start to finish
I mean we need all the details
Whatever you're willing to share
Please share
Well, the back story is I was flying to California to tape American Idol two weeks ago now.
Yes, sure.
And there was a flight attendant, and she's real nice.
You're pretty.
And so I wrote a little note on a napkin because I don't know how to talk to girls.
And I say, you're pretty.
And I put my Instagram name, some listeners found her, told her she didn't know the show, found me,
messaged me, and then all of a sudden it was, well, let's talk on FaceTime a couple times.
Then she had to layover in town yesterday last night for what turned out to be about
Seven hours.
Okay.
So picked her up at the airport.
Hmm.
That's work.
Yeah?
Why would you go, hmm?
I know.
That's like her office.
But you picked her up.
Yeah, but she didn't have a car.
I know, but there's, yeah.
Okay, okay, sorry.
Was that hmm worthy?
No, no.
What?
Nobody else is shocked that he picked her up at the airport.
No, she didn't know where to go.
She doesn't have a car.
Okay.
She's just going to stay in the airport for six hours.
Okay.
Okay.
Listen, she knows how to get around towns all the time.
She goes to cities with no car.
Okay, so I pick her up, and I had to play the opera last night.
And I've been, like, sinusy.
Like, I've had my throat's been hoarse.
And I was concerned because I don't want to go play the opera and not do well anyway.
Because I kind of bombed the last time I played the opera because my guitar broke in the middle of my set.
So, Lulul, I was like, oh, am I going to do this, not being able to talk?
And then she's in town, and it couldn't really talk.
So I pick her up, and we get some food.
and it really wasn't awkward or anything to begin with
because we've been talking on FaceTime a couple times.
Yeah.
To pick her up and then we go to the Opry.
And I worry because when I go to the Opry,
I like to meet as many people as possible
so we had set up a meeting group with a bunch of listeners.
And so I had to leave her with Morgan Number Two, basically,
and I went over.
And so that's, you're like, can somebody handle it by themselves?
And I guess she did.
Morgan Number Two?
Yeah, it's fine.
I loved her.
I thought she was great.
She loved her.
Perfect.
Did she ask you a lot of questions about Bobby?
I mean, not really.
She, like, confirmed something.
She's like, he's from, like, where's he from?
Like, I want to make sure I know these things about him that I, like, miss.
Yeah, she doesn't know much.
And she didn't want to do the Google thing because I was like, don't Google.
Stuff's not true.
Most of it is.
But still, I was like, so the Eddie was there.
Eddie met her?
Yeah, I talked to her.
She's very nice.
Like, she's really nice.
Like, I liked her a lot.
And we did the show.
I'm going to tell you guys
A lot of the listeners
were giving me crap
about like a first date
taking someone to watch
you perform
Most baller move
Everything done in my life
Baller
One because I also did pretty well
Eddie and I went up and played
I did a set
And then Eddie came on at the end
And we played a song together
Yeah
It was good
Because the backstage
Opry experience is awesome
So she's in it
Like wow I'm in Nashville
Backstage at the Grand Ole
Opera
I definitely look cool
Definitely baller
It's sort of like a star
Is Bornish
I didn't bring her out
She didn't go
Shala la la la la
La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La.
Yeah, but like you meet her and then it's like, hey, you're coming to my show.
Well, it was like I had to go to, I had to work.
I know, I know.
This is perfect.
Perfect coincidence.
And then second day you take her backstage at Idol?
Oh my gosh.
It is.
That can't.
There's no time for that at I.
Woo.
So, you know, she doesn't know really what I.
She knows what I do, but she's never seen it.
And she was like, you go do comedy, stand up?
And I was like, yeah, I'll do comedy.
I take my guitar out and I'll send that play.
And.
Was you curious how that.
tied into radio and like all your other jobs?
Everybody is.
Okay.
Because it's just not the same.
The only similarity in radio and stand-up is that there's a microphone.
Not the same skill set at all.
And so I'm way better radio.
And so we did the show and then we hung out for a little bit afterward.
For a little bit.
Yeah.
And then by the time it was over, took her back.
It was good.
So what did she say afterwards after the whole night?
Um, and what?
She had a good time.
Yeah.
We had a good time.
I mean, it was nothing.
So does she have a future layover?
I don't know. We didn't talk about her work plans in the future.
Did you walk into her gate?
We all didn't talk about seeing each other again?
No, but I don't think that we won't.
It was good.
It wasn't, yeah, it was good.
Okay.
What?
Okay, okay.
Hey, when you picked her up at the airport,
did you feel like something like tingly?
Were you nervous?
Like this is exciting?
What part of my body?
Chest bones.
Oh.
Or tummy.
No.
Or tummy.
It was good.
I was excited, but I'm excited.
Yeah, I mean, listen, I didn't meet her and go.
I'm going to get married.
But it was good.
It was a good date.
It's just weird.
Part of me of my expectations are she lives in another state.
You know, that's difficult.
But it's also awesome.
Sure.
Is she willing to move?
You know, that's not a conversation we talked.
But slide attendance, like pilots, they can live wherever.
Exactly.
They can, they just have to get to their hub.
In the end, we had a good time.
The Opry performance went off pretty well.
Yeah.
And she thought I was cool.
Much cooler that I probably am.
Do you want to say where y'all ate?
What kind of food?
Yeah, it's somewhere near the Opry.
It was another crazy.
We didn't have much time.
Cracker Barrel?
No.
You know what to Cooters?
Opera Girl.
National Palace?
No, Offrey Grill.
Dolly Barton, she has some pie there.
Opry Grill.
Did you give her a shout-out on stage?
No, it was nothing like that.
Okay, when you drop her off at the airport, you know how you pull up to the departures and it's, okay, this airline, you get out.
Did you smooch her on the...
Kissed on the cheek.
You kissed her on the cheek?
So you got out, you got her bag, you know, you got to pop your trunk.
Well, bag.
It was her work bags, right?
So it wasn't like suitcases.
Because she flew in.
Was it effortless or awkward?
Was it natural?
Everything's awkward for me.
I know.
So now I'm trying to picture you kissing her on the cheek and I'm picturing you
like hugging and then you being like, oh, boom.
It's awkward.
Everything's awkward with me.
Imagine me running at you with a head butt.
That's what it's like whenever I'm trying to kiss on my own cheek.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's what I'm picturing.
Okay.
But it was good.
Yeah.
But it was a first date.
Any texts after?
I went to bed.
Oh.
And I woke up in the night and still, there was no, no, no, no, no.
It was actually good.
Yeah, I like her.
I think she liked me.
That was it.
Morgan number two met her, Eddie met her.
Everyone wanted to come to the opera last night.
He turned everyone to everyone to come to the opera last night.
down.
Well, one, I wasn't doing well with my voice.
And two, I was like, I don't want, the only reason everybody wanted to come was,
I never bring girls around anywhere.
I haven't, ever.
Like, when's the last time, my ex-girlfriend?
Yeah.
A year and a half ago.
So, everyone was like, but I was got a girl when you go see what this is about.
And I didn't want to have to deal with that.
But it was good.
We played it cool, though, right?
Me and Morgan number two?
Yeah.
Yeah.
We were just like, what's up?
She's way prettier than I am.
She's really pretty.
Like, there's definitely a difference.
You would go, why is she with him?
Yeah, I would say out of Bobby's league.
Well, yeah, I saw her Instagram and I thought she was like a model.
She looks like a model flight attendant.
She does look like a model.
Yes.
Bingo.
Like she just uses the flight attendant thing to fly to her different modeling gigs.
Oh, wow.
For free.
Get free flights to modeling gigs.
But now that you mentioned that, Amy, it was like a star is born.
I saw that.
Bobby was on stage and she was backstage, like watching it.
At that moment, I really do think, yeah, you're right.
It was just like that movie.
Do you think if I would have went?
Shalala.
La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La
Morgan number two anything you want to say.
Yeah, I will say that she did bring up to me that she's ready to have a garden and settle down and get a dog.
Bobby has a garden.
She's definitely in that place.
It's probably dead by now.
And Bobby's been talking about getting a new dog.
Oh my gosh.
You have a garden and a dog.
Actually, I have neither, but...
And do you know Nashville is such a great central location for flight attendants?
For fertile gardens.
Also, yes, for...
Listen, we're not jumping ahead on anything.
I assume we'll probably have another date.
I need to find a date for Friday night.
What she did?
Oh, Casey Messraves.
Yeah, I'm going to Casey. I don't anybody to go with.
Do you want to go?
I have...
Oh, you have a husband.
Great.
Great.
Yeah.
Of course, Amy's married.
I finally gets a nerve to ask her out and she's married.
How long we've been together?
13.
I finally worked it up, guys, and she's married with kids.
Great.
Morgan number two, we might fallback if I can't find anybody to go with?
Yeah, I'll go with you.
Fall back.
If you ask it.
Right, but that just sounds weird.
At least she's up front about it.
If you ask it, honestly.
Yeah.
What's wrong with that?
It just sounds weird.
It's Wednesday right now.
So you're trying to find like a legit date?
I would.
That'd be a cool thing to go.
Do you right?
Yeah, for sure.
Listen, I'm single and ready to mingle.
right now.
Yeah.
So, let's mingle up.
One of my friends said, hey, I want to set you up with somebody.
And he was like, send her a DM.
And so I did, and then she never responded.
Oh, yeah.
No response?
Do you know who it is?
Well, you told me who was trying to set you up.
Yeah, no.
Not everybody's interested.
You got to have a thing for nerds.
Yeah.
She probably was really pretty.
He seems like he hangs out with really pretty people.
Who knows?
You know, I don't care about that, aim.
It's a good heart.
And he hangs out with really nice people.
Hey, good heart's all I can.
care about, Amy. You know what it matters? It's all it matters. No. Right, because when you put your
Instagram handle on a flight attendant napkin, it's because you didn't know her, you don't know
anything about her heart. No, he did. It was a giving heart. Yeah, she gave me a drapl of peanuts.
She gave me all the peanuts. Listen, I'll say this because all the listeners are blowing me up.
And you can get, if you want to ask, if you guys are listening and you want to ask something,
you can. I don't know, everybody wants to know. But it is good that she has Eddie and Morgan
number two is stamp of approval.
Absolutely. You could marry her if you want.
I approve. I mean, next, you know, or eventually,
you're going to have to have her over to the house.
You're going to have to see how she interacts with kids.
You need to see if she gets along with Stevenson.
Stevenson will be the true test.
This is why I don't bring up everything.
I do, though. That's what sucks.
Yeah, I do bring up everything.
Dang it.
How old is she? Are we saying that?
Over 30.
Okay. Wow. Okay.
We can get on board with this.
There we go.
over 30? That's good.
You guys would like her.
Lunchbox.
And, and.
She's into gardening.
I didn't know that.
I'm not in the garden.
I'm not ready for a garden.
Well, what the heck did y'all talk about at dinner?
Yeah, that's a good question.
Oh, do you know what I didn't tell you?
Oh, just life.
Do you know what I didn't tell you?
I'm going to write this down and you're going to go, what?
Oh.
Oh, no.
I can't even believe that right now.
No, that's not true.
I swear.
On my life.
What do you write down, Amy?
I swear on my life.
Amy, what are he write?
That is insane.
I swear on my life.
Something is going on.
Yeah.
Huh.
Jesus is trying to tell you something.
Jesus is for sure.
What?
Jesus is trickling little things in my life right now.
One day you'll all be able to know this.
Okay.
This is the best friend.
I'll ask Jesus.
Don't worry.
He'll tell you.
Hold on. Jesus. Don't tell you anything.
Okay.
He's not going to tell you now.

Last night, Eddie and I played the Grand Ole Opry, the Raging Idiots played,
and we played an acoustic version of our song Emoji Love.
We got that emoji love.
Do you want to hear us live?
Yeah.
It's not much.
Just a little something.
But yeah, this is Eddie and I both battle.
By the way, we both showed up like Rudy with sinus.
That's right.
There you go.
Send you a smiley face when I'm feeling great.
And if it's your birthday, I'll send you a cake.
When I'm lonely, I'll send you a big egg.
He wrote that part.
Thanks to the grand old Opry for letting us play.
It's so fun.
I love playing the opera and the crowd laughed.
And what's up, Lunchbox?
Now, there was a female laugh who was recording this.
Was that the girl?
No, it was something from the crowd.
I stole that from Instagram.
Oh, man, yeah, yeah.
Good try.
Yeah, this is our song, Emoji Love.
Download it.
Stream it.
That was cool to hear.
I like that.
It's fun, huh?
That's awesome.
Yeah, I'm not so embarrassed about it.
I send a smiley face when I'm feeling great.
And if it's your ball.
Birthday, I'll send you a cake.
And when I'm lonely, I'll send you the big egg plan.
Hey, you up.
We got that emoji love, whoa, bed.
The flashing camera for your photo awkward.
I'll send you the face with a tie.
That e, whoa.
But if you might send you the...
We got that emoji love.
Idiots, emoji love.
We're playing Boston on March 17th.
Bakersfield, California, the Muscle Kings Car Show with Kit Moore, yeah.
And in Austin, Texas, our country festival.
Tickets at Raging Idiots.com.
I'd love to see you guys.
According to this new study, lots of young people are keeping a pretty serious secret from their significant other.
Young like 20s and 30s when they get married.
Like when they enter marriage, it's something they haven't.
Even right before marriage.
So like serious relationship into marriage.
almost half
this is
which is crazy to me
you just got to get it all out there right
I think the debt falls into that one
that's a big one the biggest one
30% of people are hiding
big time debt
credit card or on the opposite
not outside of debt
money actual money
like they have more money
like debt or an account
what about partners
huh
like you keep that a secret
you lie about the number
You know, I don't think there's any
I see what he said.
I don't think there's any benefit telling truth
in that situation.
Right, nothing's going to become good at that.
Unless it's like three.
I just don't think there's a benefit
telling the truth.
You can if you feel like the truth needs to be told
like in your heart.
If your heart says it's a benefit.
Because no one wants to hear 15.
It just doesn't matter.
Because maybe that's not...
I'd be like you're lying.
You're lying.
There's no way.
You're lying.
But that's just not...
Unless you feel like you need to tell the truth, there's not a win there.
So it's just something you don't ask?
Yeah, you can.
Just don't be like zero.
Because that's a lie.
Maybe not for some of us.
But when you do your confession stuff on Instagram, don't people like vent and give you secrets?
I do this bit on my Insta story.
It just started as one night I was bored.
And I was like, tell me a secret.
People tell me all their secrets.
And I never sell them out.
Oh, because you can see who they are?
I can.
I've never done that cute Q&A.
whatever it is.
So I used to just do five questions
and I'll answer them.
Whatever they want.
The show of my life
on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
But then I was like, tell me a secret.
People share their deepest darkest secrets.
Some are so deep and dark
I don't share back, even anonymously.
I like when you put it to song.
Yeah, and I was going to do that.
But then I started to see other radio people
doing the bit now on Instagram
and I'm like, come on.
Everybody have to do everything.
I don't know what's good.
I mean, yeah, we don't follow them.
Yeah, but still, come on.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a good bit.
Secrets.
Anybody have one?
They want to share it with her up?
I'm good right now.
That's how you all find out.
What else is on the list?
The partner thing is one of them.
Oh, it is.
Yeah.
I just don't think there's a thing.
By the way, coming up, we're going to do the big IHard Radio Music Awards announcement
performers, so hang out for that.
And this story about the whole deal with the things you didn't know.
Like, it's a kid, you believed it, and you still didn't even know it's true.
And we still might believe it.
For sure?
Let me see.
One, two.
We probably still pass it down.
Oh, yeah.
I tell my kids stuff like that.
Me too.
Yeah.
For sure, at least two or three of these, I would bet you still believe.
Just be honest.
We're talking about honesty.
When I read these to you, promise me that even if you think you sound dumb,
you'll be honest and tell me if it's true or not.
Okay.
Like if I would have said knuckle cracking leads to arthritis.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
It does.
Yeah.
Okay.
Just making sure there.
Real quick, over to Carla and Kansas.
Hello, Carla.
Hi, Bobby.
Thank you for calling.
What would you like to say?
we have been listening to you my son and I for the last couple years he loves to download your
podcast and we listen to it when we go on trips thank you very much what's his name
his name's Carson and how old Carson 14 okay come on Carson 14 years old
love that and where do you live in Kansas Linzburg oh I love it there they have the
best apple pie I'm just kidding I know I'm in there but that would be cool right I always
Like, really?
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
They don't make something good.
Catherine was a typical parent telling her 12-year-old daughter,
you watch too much TV.
Do something better with your time.
Next day, they go get something to eat a local fast food restaurant.
Catherine bites into a burger, starts choking,
turning different colors.
Her 12-year-old daughter jumps up, gives her the heimlet,
spits the burger out.
She's like, where did you learn to do that?
I learned it by watching TV.
Yeah, mom felt a real dumb for yelling at her about watching too much TV.
And then her life was saved.
Her life was saved because her daughter watched TV.
That's awesome.
Watching more TV, everyone.
Yeah, it doesn't rot your brain.
Let me ask you that question about TV.
Do you consider anything TV now?
Because I do.
Like Netflix?
Yes, it's TV.
If I'm watching a show on my phone.
Yeah.
TV.
Right?
We call it screen time at our house.
Kids, yeah.
Yeah.
It's like how long have you been in front of a screen?
But it's also like when I someone says, hey, have you talked to, it'd be the weekend, right?
If you talked to Amy today, I'd be like, yeah, I've texted with Amy, but I still feel like that's talking to Amy.
Yeah, that's where we differ.
Because sometimes I'll be like, oh, I haven't talked to Bobby in a while.
And we maybe have texted, but I haven't talked to you.
I don't feel like I've got caught up with you fully.
Because like a one little text or emoji.
But we got.
Emo.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and my Mr. Bobby Bones.

It's quite the musical line up there, huh?
Yeah.
They're saying Taylor's got some new stuff coming out.
She's been putting up like palm trees,
and let's go to Morgan number two who's 25.
What do you know about this?
Well, I know it's TS7,
which means Taylor Swift's Seven.
Her record, seventh record?
Yes.
And the palm trees are some signal that she gave off in an old photo,
so fans are relating it that it's a possibility.
She's bringing stuff from her past in making a very country pop,
brand new kind of music album that hasn't been out yet.
Oh, Fusion.
I heard it was Katie Perry, but I don't know if that's the case.
Did you ever hear that rumor?
I haven't heard that rumor.
Fusion, eh?
That he said?
Is that not the right word?
Yeah, it's like you get a Mexican-Asian-easian place.
Yeah.
Anyway, all Taylor stuff is good.
Yeah, basically.
All right, you ready for this thing as a kid that we thought?
Yes.
Okay.
Five lies you were told as a kid and probably still believe as an adult.
First one, we'll just act like I hadn't said this one yet.
Would you believe still that knuckle cracking leads to arthritis?
Yes.
Yes.
Okay.
Recent studies show that pulling or twisting,
joints create spaces between the bones and that's what causes the crack.
The crack is actually the pop.
It gets into science, but that's not true.
Okay.
The sound's still annoying to people, but it does not cause arthritis in any way.
That's number one.
Number two, sitting too close to the TV will ruin your eyesight.
Oh, yes.
Yes.
I see that now.
Yeah.
Not only is this not true.
Oh.
But it just so happens that children are better at focusing at up-close objects, more so than adults.
I hope.
I think it's too bright.
The problem they say is if someone's sitting close to the TV, though,
they may be near-sided and they maybe haven't do that because they can't see.
Oh, right.
And it's one of the first signs of, hey, get their eyes checked.
But they say sitting too close to the TV is not.
You know where I used to thrive close to the TV?
What?
Duck Hunt.
I put the gun right on the TV.
You put the gun right up on the screen?
Yeah, duck hunt?
Yeah, I play.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Nintendo hit it up.
Number three.
If you swallow your gum, it takes seven years of digest.
Yes. I just told my daughter that the other day.
Well, you told her a fib.
Yeah, I wish she called me out on it. She's like, you're lying.
Gum is mostly indigestible.
Some brands use the same rubber as inner tubes,
and because it doesn't digest, it passes the system quite easily.
Because it doesn't break down.
Oh. So that means you can find it later.
It's just like...
Right through.
Okay, okay. That makes sense.
They say, though, the only time you can get sick is if you eat a whole pack,
and that's like gastrointestinal issues
but that's with anything a lot.
But yeah, like gum is like tire.
Wow.
It's not good.
How about swim too soon after eating
and you get cramps?
Yes.
I heard you throw a lot.
Nah.
Yeah.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics
and the American Red Cross,
it is not true.
Just finish swallowing before you jump in, they say.
So you don't choke.
So you don't choke.
Yeah.
The hour weight is probably made up to give parents
just a little time so I have to go out and watch people's kids.
Oh, for sure.
So one more.
This is the one I know.
The vegetable?
No, what do you think?
Oh, carrots.
Make your ice cream?
Yeah, they make them better.
But they do.
That's true.
Well, I don't know.
Oh, that's what you're going to do.
Carrots.
If you touch a toad, you could get warts.
Yes.
That's why you never pick up a frog.
I always touch toes, never got a whart.
Children are more likely than adults to get warts as their immune systems.
have yet to build the proper defenses
and that's why mostly a kid would get one
and kids also are the people who are touching frogs.
They have nothing to do with each other.
Nobody has ever contracted a wart
from handling a toad.
Wow.
I didn't know that.
That is shocking.
That's the most shocking one of all of them.
Also, Mike D. just pulled up the carrot myth.
Tell me.
The origin of this myth,
carrots do not help eyesight.
See?
What? That is not true.
Yeah, I know.
That's what I'm saying.
Like, I always believed it, though.
The origin of this myth dates back to World War II
and it's based on a bit of, that carrots are rich in beta carotene,
which the body converts to a form of vitamin A,
but really has nothing to your eye, your vision.
My parents said that all the time.
Unless you're deficient to vitamin A, they say it doesn't really do anything.
There you go.
Not only do I believe that, but I've told some of that stuff I tell it to my kids.
My daughter loves carrots.
I'm like, this is so great.
Your eyes are going to be so strong.
Do you do spinach with Stevens' muscles?
Yes.
Oh, all the time.
And he loves it.
He's like, he'll eat lettuce and he'll be like, this is going to make me bigger.
I'm like, yep, and he chowes down.
Holly in Wisconsin, you're on.
What's happening?
Oh, you know, just heading home after driving the kids to school.
Yeah, how'd that go?
You're a big fan.
Oh, yeah?
Actually, today was a really good morning.
We usually, you know, try to scent the intention that it's going to be a good day.
And your show helps a lot.
Oh, thanks a lot.
What about this morning was good?
If we can do more of that, hopefully.
Well, I'm a strong believer in my faith and God.
And you've been somebody we've been praying for recently.
I really relate to you, I think, because when you talk about being awkward and really driven,
I feel that I possess both of those qualities pretty strongly.
And this morning, it was funny to kind of just hear you start talking, as we already had a great
morning anyways, to really be able to just chill and listen to you guys.
And you started talking about this potential love interest.
There's no love.
Holly, Holly, why are you getting ahead?
We went on.
She said potential.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, potential.
Sorry.
Go ahead, Holly.
Sorry.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So we're, you know, it's kind of cool to listen to even if nothing comes out of it.
It's good to see you getting going somewhere.
I appreciate that.
And then, um, then.
Amy said, and I really appreciate your relationship with Amy.
You guys have this awesome friendship that people can really model,
and we can feel it when you guys are interacting the way you do.
We can feel that you guys really care about each other and have each other's back,
and that's what friends are supposed to be.
But then she said, like, oh, Jesus is really doing something here,
and it's so funny because I was saying that.
I was like, oh, we prayed for that last week.
and it was just, it was really...
You prayed, well, you prayed for what?
Me to have a girlfriend?
Well, we prayed for you to find, you know,
everything that you want in your relationships.
Oh, thank.
And, yeah, I mean...
Listen, that's honestly really sweet of you.
I wish everybody would do that.
I wish everybody would pray for me to get a girlfriend.
That would be awesome, huh?
It is actually really thoughtful.
Yeah, it is.
It's extreme.
That you would take one of your prayers and, you know,
toss it over this way.
I really appreciate that.
That's quite kind of you, Holly.
Oh, yeah.
We throw them all over all.
Thanks a lot. Well, tell the kids that say hello, and thanks for listening. Where do you live in Wisconsin?
We're from about, around Madison is about the closest anybody who's going to know of, because we really live out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by Amish.
Well, tell your kids we say hi, and I appreciate that call.
Oh, someday they'll be calling to say hi.
Okay.
All right, thank you. Have a good morning. Thank you for the prayers. Everybody, I would never turn out in prayer.
Listen, I do feel like I stick up for the people that feel awkward.
You see a kid yesterday that did this science project?
It was so cool.
I put it on my Instagram.
Mr. Bobby Bones is my Instagram.
And he literally went as you as his project.
There were people went as Abe Lincoln, Sally Ride,
Audrey Hepburn.
They were like, and then he went as me.
And I was like, how cool is it?
I mean, yeah, that's got a feel really, I mean, seeing that and knowing that he.
And then I liked your little note to him too.
You're like, did you get an image?
or what is something about his grade?
If not, hit me up.
And now I am curious, like, what he got?
And then you, like, shouted out to him
and then offered him a pair of Jordans.
And I hope that him reading that or anybody else reading that,
they know it's not about just you trying to be like,
oh, you dressed up as me, I'm going to throw you some Jordans.
Like, that's your way of showing, like, hey, I appreciate this.
And you're a kid and me as a kid, like the whole shoe thing.
Yeah, I guess I could explain the shoe thing, huh?
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I think you should explain.
Because some people might be like, oh, why are you trying to just throw out?
All we got to do is that, and you're going to throw some kids some Jordans.
But it's so much bigger than that.
Well, I have, and sometimes I gift people's shoes.
I love shoes, but as a kid, I can never afford nice shoes.
And I'd have to go to yard sales and try to find old, cool shoes,
and then try to scrub them and paint them for the first day of school,
because everybody had new shoes.
And we couldn't afford new shoes.
And so when I first started to make enough money to save up, not even just week to week,
but to save up, my first
I made it gift was a pair of Jordans to myself
and I was like 23
and I was like man
I feel like I bought a pair of Michael Jordan
tennis shoes I can never afford them as a kid
and everybody used to make fun of me
like it was tough, it's tough school was tough
because I never had nice clothes
and so now I love shoes
because for me that was always the thing that I couldn't have
and that's also why I gift them so much
but it's not just about shoes
but that's what's important to me
is and that's yeah
but I thought that was cool because
I mean obviously he admires you
on like a high level
so now he's gonna get a pair of shoes
from you he's gonna wear those things so proudly
you know I'm excited about it
he's a size 10 and he's in like fifth grade
oh dang wow what
that kid's got a lot of growing yeah yeah
but yeah it's up on my Instagram Mr. Bobby Bones
yeah listen I don't take that stuff for granted
that's awesome so
work gave me a parking spot here
which is awesome my own parking spot in the garage
And so it's a sign.
It says Bobby's parking spot.
And I'm not there.
They're not in me parking in it.
But lunchbox saw someone who wasn't one of us parking in it yesterday.
Oh, yeah.
There's some red van in there.
Like they had no respect in the world for the sign that said,
reserved for Bobby Bones.
And I told people, if you parked there, I'm going to put a boot on your vehicle.
He bought a boot, ladies and gentlemen.
And it's $75 to get it off.
Who do they pay?
Me.
Oh, I didn't know they actually had to find you.
So do you put your number on the boot to go?
Yeah.
But it was supposed to be stored in the glass room and I could not find it yesterday.
I looked and looked and looked and could not find the boot.
So I went and wrote a note on the dude's vehicle and said,
move your vehicle ASAP.
You will be booted and it's a $75 to remove the boot.
Reserve for Bobby Bones and you're not Bobby Bones.
Respect the sign.
Oh.
Yeah.
Pets me respect on my name.
Yeah, that's just straight disrespect because you pull in and you cannot help but miss the sign.
that is your spot and who does he think he is?
I don't think you say that exactly right, but I get it.
Like you, right, yes.
Yes.
Yeah.
So.
I appreciate that.
Did he move?
Yeah, he was out of there quick because he was like, I don't want to pay $75.
This is a pretty good spot, though.
Oh, it's a prime location.
Oh, it's amazing.
I feel like I worked the last six years when I signed my contract for that parking spot.
I was sort of weird about it.
Like, I felt weird when you were asking, and then when it happened, it's awkward, but now I love it.
Yeah.
Especially if you're gone.
asking for it too.
Yeah.
If I have to park down the road again at 2 p.m.
It can walk up here.
I quit.
Yeah.
Just kidding.
Oh.
I'm like, I support that.
Dude,
please boot someone.
I want to,
oh, listen.
Trust me, I was ready to boot.
You weren't really going to boot it.
Bobby, that's how you send the message and people get it loud and clear like,
okay, I mess with the wrong person.
It's almost as if I don't mind.
No, stop.
You don't mind what?
If you say that, then people are going to say no respect to the sign.
I've seen a couple of cars parked there.
I have too.
Yeah.
I don't, okay.
And I'm like, okay.
If I'm not there to pull into it.
Oh, no, but then I'm here.
Oh, that's the problem.
No, Beyonce needs a third spot.
No, no, no, no.
But I haven't said anything.
But, I mean, one time someone even like parked in it really crooked.
So not only that, the spot to the right was then taken.
So it was your spot and the spot to the right because they didn't even park right.
I took a picture of that one.
Did you key them?
Did you give me a little carry under one?
Did you leave a note?
No.
There was a great day in that gave birth and 19 puppies.
What?
Wow.
That is crazy.
19?
I don't know how many puppies dogs typically have, but that sounds like a lot.
And I'm totally in dog mode right now.
Every day I look a little more.
Would you ever get a great day?
Yeah.
Those dogs are cool.
Yeah, we looked at them.
Yeah, hard to travel with.
Because they're huge.
It's more like you have to travel on than.
Yeah.
Ride it like horseback.
Yeah, and I have space.
You have a backyard?
Yeah, you have plenty of room.
Wow.
My husband had one as a kid, and he said it was the coolest.
Really?
Yeah.
Cleo, a great day in Arizona, was said to be doing well.
Well, Arkansas came out.
I'm a little tired.
Well, yeah.
Cleo's doing well.
Dang, it's crazy how you get tired of you.
19 puppies.
The doctor said that all 19 came out.
They're all doing well.
They're bottle feeding every three hours.
Oh, my gosh.
They are so.
That's so cute.
Are you looking at them?
Yes, I want one.
Yeah, we'll put that at at Bobby Bones.com.
I don't know if I'm going to do great day.
I don't know what I'm going to do.
I'm kind of getting in that mode.
I may wait until May when American Idol's over
and I'm not going back and forth.
Right.
Because the live show, by the way, American Idol starts on the third, this weekend.
Like, I think Sunday.
But you're not on these.
I'm not, but you should still watch.
Right, right, right.
I'm not on the first ones because I was still doing Dancing with the Stars.
Yeah, I told you this.
They thought I'd be kicked off by this point.
Oh.
They're like, don't worry about scheduling.
He won't make it through dancing with the stars.
So, a quick inside story.
If you're new to this show, I grew up in a town of 700 people in Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
I don't know anybody.
I've done anything.
And slowly, I've been knocking on doors trying to get anybody to give me a shot.
And so I got this tiny job mentoring one episode.
They ran back for two, for four.
Then they've signed me for a whole season.
Then ABC signed me to a whole network deal.
It's crazy how this is all happened, right?
And so ABC signs me to a deal.
And they also go, hey, here's somebody to develop.
bunch of shows. And they go, well, do Miss America, because I went to judge that. And they said,
in American Idol, you'd be full time every episode. But you have a two-month period, go on dancing
with the stars. You can't dance. You get kicked off. And then go do American Idol.
Well, I go on Dance with Stars. They're right. I couldn't dance. But does he this eye right here?
Do you know what that's the eye of? Tiger? The freaking tiger. Yeah. And I train 12 hours a day
sometimes.
Yeah.
What is the next line of that?
Because I was about to go into it, but I don't know it.
You got the eye of the tiger and the frill of the cap.
Wait, the frill of the cap.
That's what I just kidding on.
I know that's not right.
Oh.
It's a thrill of the fight, right?
Oh, okay.
That makes it.
Or they screwed up by not being the frill of the cap.
Yeah, big time.
Because that's pretty good.
All the writers are kicking themselves right now.
Survivor's like, Frankie, I know you're 72 and Yen left the house in a few weeks.
But I heard this new version of our song.
Let's go eye of the tiger and the frill of the cap.
I'm just trying to make it to survival.
There you go.
Anyway, so, Idol starts.
I won't be in the city where they audition.
I was still doing Dancing with the Stars.
Yeah.
But there's some good ones.
I'm not just saying this.
There's some good ones that you're going to be like, wow, they could be a real deal.
That's all.
Start this weekend.
Not an ad.
But they do pay me.

and the others run away.
Lovers and songs
that they won't stay.
All right.
We'll stop there.
Okay.
Anyway, Lisa Loeb, who knew?
She knew all those words.
Most of them.
Well, most.
I mean...
All right.
Name the one-hit wonder artist.
Are you ready?
Ready.
You know the name of this song?
Oh, wow.
I know this.
Called the reason.
Who sings it?
You know what the reason is?
And the reason is you.
Wow, dude.
I'm sorry.
By the way, the term one hit wonder is controversial because a couple of these have had kind of second hits, but not really.
Yeah, because I think they've had more than this, right?
The only massive hit, like top pop.
Yes.
Okay, what do you got?
Let's go, Amy.
Snow Patrol.
Snow Patrol, is that correct.
Oh, shit.
Lunch bar.
That's hubba stink.
That's correct.
It's hubba stink.
How do you know that?
Sometimes he knows things.
I don't know.
All right.
Can you get this one?
Still my sunshine
To name is a song
I'm a good
You're a great song
I have
Keep bursting on my feet
If you steal my sunshine
Yeah I'm so bad at this
I know
It's not for me
If you're still my sunshine
I have no idea
What is that for?
I mean I know the song
But I don't even name
Amy has drawn a heart with her marker
All right
Lunchbox
UB 40
That's a good guess
Good guess
Eddie
Len?
L-E-N-L-N
Is it L-E-N?
Okay good
How did you know that?
I mean I've never heard
That was a random one
All right
Ready for this one?
This is a country one
Big Smash
A friend actually wrote this song
Oddly enough
You ready?
Yeah
If it looks like
We were scared to death
Like a couple of kids
Just trying to save each other.
You should have seen it in color.
It's called in color.
Such a good song.
Oh, man.
I'm in.
Yeah, real.
All right.
Wow, you guys already in?
That was it?
That was all we got?
You did the whole song.
All right, time's up.
Amy.
Jamie Johnson.
Yeah.
Good job, Amy.
Lunchbox.
No offense to this guy.
Josh Turner.
He sounds just like him.
He doesn't have deep voice.
No, not really.
Josh Turner sounds like this baby don't...
What does that sound like?
Like that sounds like...
Just with a beard.
Eddie?
Jamie Johnson.
Yeah, there you go.
I just don't know who.
Ready?
What?
What don't you know?
Don't worry.
Be happy.
Don't worry.
Be happy now.
How do you not know?
Have you ever heard this song?
I've heard it, but I felt like it was in the 50s.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, they're in 50s.
It's the big bopper.
Hello, baby.
Oh, baby.
I'm in for the win.
Don't you worry.
This game's taking a turn.
Do you know it?
Yeah.
Who is it?
U.B. 40?
Oh.
Oh.
Lunchbox.
UB 40.
It's around the same time, though, right?
No, not really.
Yeah, possibly.
Yeah, it might possibly.
Eddie?
Bobby McFerrant.
Oh, that's right.
Come on, doesn't he choose to not sing this song?
Oh, he doesn't.
That's another one.
Eddie and I did this podcast.
It's one of the Bobbycast, artists who don't like to do their big hits.
Check that out of two today after the show.
Search Bobby Cass.
I think he hates this song.
He doesn't do it.
That's crazy.
Did you know he also does the Cosby Show theme?
Yes, that's right.
That's not, Bobby McFerran.
You were going to say something else.
He did something else?
It's a cool guy, I guess
I don't know
I was gonna say he didn't play that
So I'm in
How many is that?
Four
Okay, let's do one more
All right, I'm ready
You're just glad you're still in it
You're not in it by the way
Is he not?
No
No one's in
If I lie here
Oh, I'm in
Why are you laughing?
Oh, we used to play this
Why are you laughing so heartily?
Because that might be
U.B40
That might be
Just
I'm trying to take that
pointing at me right now like I'm trying to mess him.
I'm like, is this guy messing?
Could he give you three UB40 songs in a row?
That's what the question is.
No, there was a Josh Turner mixed in there.
No, all right, no, I got that.
Josh Turner mixing it.
It wasn't Josh Turner.
I'm in for the win.
I got this one I can figure it out.
Amy?
Snow Patrol.
What?
Yes.
Lunchbox.
Snow Patrol!
Eddie?
Snow Patrol.
Yeah.
chasing cars.
This song takes me back to the beginning of us.
Of our show?
Like, well, me and you, I don't know.
Oh, that night.
No, me, you lunchbox.
No, me, you lunchbox.
Like, the show had been on, but something, that song, apparently, I feel like we played it a lot.
I don't know if we did.
Really?
Yeah.
Why am I thinking of us?
Grace Anatomy?
Did you watch Grace Anatomy?
But not with you.
Like, I have memories with you.
I don't know.
You want to do one more just for fun?
Yeah, we might as well.
Oh.
That was 2007.
So is that you guys?
Yeah, I started working with you in 2006.
Okay.
Well, there you go.
Boom.
What up?
What up?
Lunchbox you'll never get this one.
You want to bet?
Yeah.
Okay, let's go.
And it's on.
Okay, we're going to look at.
Refrigerator.
Josh Turner.
Nope.
Wow, Eddie.
Is that it right?
Yeah.
Wow.
I'm in for the way.
Wow.
He's looking for a man.
Wow.
Lunchbox?
Rest in peace.
Mindy McCready.
That's a good guess.
Is that right?
No, but it's a really good guess, lunchbox.
Eddie, you got it.
What is it?
Shelly Wright, yeah.
That was a guess to me.
You wrote it at him.
I did, but that's just thinking of some one hit one day.
It's another country one.
All right.
Lunchbox, you don't even get the popcorn.
No, no, hold on.
Mindy McCready, that was close, you said.
But you didn't get it right.
Okay, but I get close.
You just yelled a woman's name.
It was close.
No, he wasn't.
He got Snow Patrol.
And I got who mistake?
The reason.
He did.
Okay, yeah, that's true.
How many points does he have?
I got the same amount as Amy.
Okay, but you're losing bad.
Okay, but I can come back right here, five points.
Okay.
Okay, this is worth one point for everybody.
For lunchbox, it's worth ten points.
Yeah!
Let's go!
Let's go!
Let's go!
If he gets this one, if he gets us, you have a chance to get this?
No.
You don't know me?
Okay.
He don't know me.
He does.
Let's go.
How long we've been together?
What year is it?
16.
Really?
16 years.
He looks like his watch.
Well, it's 47 after 16 years.
I loved her first at a place in my first smile.
I prayed that she'd find you someday.
But it's still hard to give her.
Worth 10 points, lunchbox.
I know, I know, I know.
I'm thinking.
Do you know it?
No, I don't.
I know the song.
I don't know the artist.
She's over there singing it.
Huh.
I know the song too.
Go ahead.
Yeah, this one's hard.
Man, this one's hard, but man, this one, I think this guy has more than one hit.
Go ahead.
Dwight Yolkham.
Really?
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah!
Yeah! Yeah!
There he is.
10 points.
10 points.
Eat it.
Eat it.
Eat it.
Dude, that's not Dwight Yokem.
He's joking.
Get your chair back.
Yeah.
Sit back down.
Boy, he jumped up like.
Wait, so who is it?
Heartland.
Oh, heartland is a band.
Dude, Dwight Yokam is.
A massive super star.
How do you not know his voice?
Dwight Yolkham's on the top five of my childhood.
That's why I said I think this guy may have more than one hit.
Yeah.
But then you guys said I was right, so I got excited.
Whoops.
Dwight, if you're listening.
Listen that.
Beep, damn, bam.
Oh, I know this one.
What's it?
I'm a hockey talk man.
Yeah.
All right.
What else he got?
Yeah, we got to go to break.
I'll play us out with some.
Girl, Utah.
Guitar's catalogued.
Oh, this one.
I know that one.
I met Dwight Yolkham.
Did you?
At Dirk's,
Dirk's Bentley show in Los Angeles.
Yeah.
He doesn't have any hair.
He had a hat on.
I don't know if you had it or not.
I think that's why.
Yeah, because he acts.
The hair hangs out the back.
I thought he had hair.
Because he acts in movies and he's always bald.
Oh.
All right.
Well, they can put bald caps on people.
Okay, good point.
Bobby Bones.
Yeah.
No.
Apparently Miranda Lambert's not happy with the press
hounding her and her husband
Oh
I get it right
You want to live your life
Yeah
Don't want to be bothered
Here's the thing
Because I believe they were at the airport
They're walking out of the airport
Inside Edition is there
And again who wants inside edition
All up in your business right
And cameras are
And they said snap snap
Say something
And she was like well if I say something
Will you leave please
Like the world should
mind its own blanking business.
Oh.
Like, I get it, but you can't put your pictures up from People magazine on Instagram and be like,
here's our wedding.
And then when you're out in public, people come up and be like, hey, what's up with that?
Right.
Oh, so she's posting stuff on her Instagram.
Be consistent.
If you don't post anything, and then be like, I haven't posted anything.
I'm not sharing your thing.
Shut up.
Right.
Because we wouldn't have known she got married.
No idea.
But then I think.
Well, the salad tossing.
What was that?
Dumping.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She was tossing the salad over on the head.
Yeah.
And if that hadn't happened, maybe they don't announce it.
But again, when you announce it and People Magazine, it's the one that has a picture, that means wedding's public.
And we can ask you about it.
You're a celebrity.
That comes to territory.
Yeah.
So let's just chill a little bit.
You know?
A little bit.
Just a little bit.
So that's all.
That's all I wanted to say.
I like Miranda.
Just fine.
I think Eddie and I were talking about this other day.
I have a story about, I think, everyone.
Like a personal story.
Except Miranda.
Oh, that's true.
Yeah.
It was like, you can name anybody.
And I'd be like, oh, I've got a personal story.
You just don't know that much about her.
So I'm not that protective.
Maybe because she tries to be private.
And she wants to leave her alone.
Well, and I do.
And you do.
So she posts pictures on Instagram.
All right.
What's going on today?
I've got a workout at one.
Oh, yeah.
What kind?
Like weights.
Getting strong.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Probably going to...
Do you want to go boxing in my gym ever?
Probably going to curl some 15s.
Yeah.
I want to do. Yeah, I want to.
Are we doing like a group boxing thing?
Well, we can or I can just send you guys.
I mean, you can just go to classes.
I own the gym so you can go whatever.
Just post it all you have to just post social media, but like I was here.
Okay.
Just tag it.
Yeah, I mean.
You don't have to today.
I'm just saying if you do want to go, let me know.
Yeah, I can't today because I'm doing weights, but I do want to, so maybe I'll go Friday.
It's like a boxing class.
Yeah, okay.
You have to fight anybody unless you want to.
Paperview.
Yeah.
We need to take advantage of that.
Yeah.
Let's go Friday, guys.
Okay.
Possibly.
Okay.
gloves? What do we need? You don't need a mouthpiece.
I have those bandage wraps that you put
around your hands. Do I need those?
Yes.
Are you boxing today? What are you doing?
I still have this thing with my throat.
Oh, I've got to rest it.
I can feel great.
No boxing for you.
I have a bike in my house now. I may ride that a little bit.
Okay, at a level one,
you don't need to exert yourself.
I'm not sick. It's just my throat.
Careful with the stairs, though. Don't mess with that.
No, not that bike. I have a bike.
Like a...
Oh, like a...
Like a...
The stationary.
Stationery.
Yeah, yeah.
Have a great day, everybody.
