It's taken 75 years, but World War II veteran Peter Fantasia has finally been honored for his military service. He is 103 years old.

The Somerville, Massachusetts man received eight medals in a special ceremony this week. A U.S. representative was there, presented on the medals, including a bronze star, a good conduct medal, and the American Defense Service medal.

He was serving as a U.S. Army medic when he was captured in France in 1944 and was held as a prisoner of war until he was liberated by Russian forces in 1945. Wow. That is crazy, and it's not even something that we think about, but that is...

Yeah, man. For a year he was held as a P-O-W. He previously received the Silver Star. Quote, he's a true example to the rest of the country and the community what American heroism is all about. Crazy, he's 103 years old and got all those medals. I just read about people being POWs. I can't imagine.

Me either. Shout out to this guy, tons of respect and love, and he got his medals after 75 years. And that is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. This story comes to us from Florida.

A 36-year-old man had a warrant out for his arrest when police pulled up at his job. He's like, man, I got to make a run for it. He takes off for the woods and he sees a pond and he goes, man, I'm a huge fan of Rambo. If I jump in that pond, I can just hold my breath and I'll be safe. So he jumped in the pond, went under, held his breath for about six seconds, popped up. Cops still waiting there on the shore. Grabbed him. You know, they were just watching too.

The move is when you rob something and the first. water nearby, you put a straw in your pocket. Because then you jump in the water and you took air from underwater with the straw and they think after about three minutes they've missed you or you drown. And that's how you go hot. You don't just jump in. Or you do your lips. Like a duck.

Look a dog. Yeah. Is that what Rambo did? And not a paper straw or a hay straw. No, like you probably got to go plastic. All right, lunchbox. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. You all the way moved into your new house yet? Yeah, totally moved in. Thankfully, had these movers.

They were a bunch of college kids. They were awesome. And they were moving one of our couches up the stairs. And they had to turn a corner through our kitchen. And when they were doing it, I was like, pivot, pivot. And like, did the whole thing. And one of them looked back at me, and he was the one holding the couch. And he was like, what?

he thought I was telling him to pivot and do. So he had no idea what I was talking about. So then I was explaining friends, the TV show to him. And after he put the couch down, came back downstairs, he'd been thinking about it a minute. And he said, so, hey, is that that friend show worth the watch? And I was like, oh my gosh, how old are you? Yes, it's worth the watch.

Oh, you think it is. You recommend it to a kid. He was 20 years old. Yeah. So, yeah, we're about 20. 20 years apart. And 100% I told him he needed to get on that. Well, I don't know if I would recommend friends now.

I think a bunch of what Friends was good for was the time more so than now. I think you had to almost watch it back then to still love it today. I know there's some young people to love it. But I think Do you think Friends is good now, Eddie? It's tough. I haven't seen it in a while, but I would

say no, because it really did represent the 90s. Like, or the early 2000s? Early 2000s for sure. Okay, but some people like that 70s show represents the 70s. But it wasn't made in the 70s. Oh, I was trying. Sorry, I tried. I tried.

We can like shows that take place earlier. And so maybe they'll think it's nostalgic. Morgan, do you like friends? Yeah, I love friends. Did you watch it, though, first time around? No, not when I was younger. I mean, I probably wasn't until, like, high school that I started watching it when it was the reruns on TBS or whatever. What would you recommend from the 90s or 2000s to the kids of today?

Because easily the office, right? Yes. I'm going to recommend the office. What would you recommend from the 90s or 2000s? Probably counting crows. Friends and Alanis Morissette. Yeah. Eddie?

Pearl Jam, man. Pearl Jam, grunge music. Come on. I'm probably going to throw in some old McGraw. For sure, all the old Garth Brooks from the 90s. Of course. Emcy Hammer Pants, because they were very comfortable. I remember saving up and going to get my first pair of hammer pants at Walmart.

They were awesome. I wore them to my first day of. school in fourth grade and thought I was showing up as the coolest. 90s things you'd bring lunchbox? M&M. Well, he's like 99 though, like really on that edge, right? Yeah, I mean, he's late 90s, but I mean, he was a powerhouse then. That's your boy, huh?

Yeah, and I mean, I think Seinfeld's still like, maybe it's because I like it, but when I watch the reruns, I still laugh. Yeah, I think Seinfeld holds up better than Friends does to people who, and I'm more of a friend's fan than a Seinfeld fan. Honestly, but I think Seinfeld holds up better. Oh, interesting. Well, anyway. Okay.

My old manager at that time used to work for Jamie. So ended up going there, staying there. After I turned that deal down, I ended up just staying and living with Jamie for a few months, just staying with him. And, man, we were just – You guys lived together. Mm-hmm. He just started the Jamie Fox Show. the WV and so he was just getting going. I mean, his comedy stuff was happening, but he's truly one of the,

he might be the most talented person I've ever seen. He's great at absolutely everything. I mean, not just great, but I mean, sets the bar for comedy, talent. I mean, the way he plays, piano, and I mean, he's just, and he loves music. He loves country music. He loves all genres of music, and he can act. I mean, it's just, it's not fair. It's not fair at all. It sounds like he's a good dude too. He's a great dude. Which sucks. You kind of want to hate someone.

I know it, yeah. He's from Texas. That's why I never liked you. Yeah. Because it's just you have it all. You have it all. Yeah. And I'm coveting.

I pay, no, I'm not paying him at all. I wasn't until Luke told him he gets paid 10, so he wanted 10. But we negotiated down to just five. But I told him that it would be 10.

Every other time. Every other time. So basically I tricked him, but yeah, I'm paying him regardless. So I sent out a video of the basketball court and said, hey, if your son will come and sweep the basketball court every two weeks? Yeah, something like that. I pay him $30.30? $30. Every time. Oh my gosh.

It's a pretty big area. Do you have any activities for Stevenson? Well, I just thought about this because of Eddie's son wanting to make money. Yeah. And I could go do it, but I was like, this would be good. And it would be like a job. He has to come out. It's fantastic.
