Morning studio. Morning. We got a big show today. We are bringing in a girl who's really famous on TikTok and she is obsessed with Kip Moore. She's blown up because she's obsessed

with a lot of country stars like guys. She's like, I can't believe they're this hot. but Kip Moore is her number one and she can't hear me now but we have a little surprise for her I think we're gonna try to keep on the phone I think she'll freak out

so that'll happen later in the show dance party today obviously but I got a TikTok and I did one about the six greatest live performers in country music right now and six because I don't know I think I wrote them all down

I was like here's the top five and I was like oops there's six there so here are the six that I put which by the way who do you think before I get to my list here is the number one greatest live performer right now in country music

right now currently Luke Brighton Never seen him I think Kenny Chesney would probably be it Eric Church Okay Only one of those three is in my top six Oh wow

Now I didn't just go How big is their stage show And is it an arena show Because some of these people aren't the same as the others At number six I put Marin Morris Nothing's ever gonna move it When the bones are good

The rest don't matter Yeah the pain could It's because she sings really, she's a really good singer, but there's a lot of soul in her show. It's pretty cool. Right, and she's not playing arenas yet, or at least not stadiums. And number five, I put Chris Jansen. Oh, come on. And everybody in the room goes, oh, that's right.

Oh, yeah, Dad. You forgot. Yeah, that's good. I compared him on TikTok to Mick Jagger of country music. He's all over the place. And he even gets behind the drum set and plays the song. So much energy in a show. So I have Chris Jansen at number five.

At number four, I put this person because I've seen. I've seen them play a couple of times, but one time in particular, they did a show where they told stories, they told jokes, they had a guitar and played music, and they played with a full band all in one show. And also has just the biggest hits ever in the history of country music. And this was like a few years ago. And I was like, this is one of the greatest live performances I've ever seen. It was Dolly. Oh, yeah. Even older, she was crushing doing stand-up comedy.

And then she had her guitar and was playing songs by herself. It was amazing. So I put Dolly in at number four. At number three, Eric Church. Big shows, long shows, sometimes no opener. You're not going to find a more passionate crowd about an artist than Eric Church. It's number three. At number two, I put a guy who has so much energy on stage when he's played.

To me, I compared him to Angus Young from ACDC because Angus Young would go out and lose like five pounds a night because he sweats and runs around so much. This artist does that. Runs into the crowd, plays inside the crowd. Oh. Who? Garth? No. Keith Urban.

No, Garth doesn't go on the crash. Garth doesn't run. Oh. Yeah, Garth runs the whole show. He has like a treadmill one show I went to. What? Yeah, he runs. Yeah.

Keith Urban at number two because he does it all. Sing, plays. It's like running a microphone in the middle of the stands. Rockstar. And then number one is Garth Brooks. It wasn't even close to me.

Garth Brooks is number one. Non-stop energy. He's climbing this big jungle gym type thing. He's running all around. He probably runs more than all these other guys combined. Every song is a massive hit. At one point I saw him do this song

if tomorrow never comes and didn't even sing a word. The crowd was so hype in his show. He just goes, you know what? You guys sing it and he plays a chord on guitar. And then he lays the guitar down. And he's only beating on his chest for rhythm. This is the greatest live show I've ever seen multiple times. So at number one, I have Garth Brooks

as my greatest live performers in country music. Anytime I do this, it's controversial on TikTok. obviously because everybody has their ideas, their opinions. And they should. They should. That's fine by me. But Amy, you said Luke Bryan and... Which is awesome. And Kenny Chesney. Kenny Chesney. Yeah. They didn't make the top six. Do you guys hate me? Be honest.

No. That's such a bad list you have there. You guys can check it on TikTok. Mr. Bobby Bones. I'm over there. TikTok and away. I have two stories. Amy, you're first. Amy said something happened to her for the first time in years. Yeah, years. I'm walking out of the restaurant with a friend. And a guy comes up to me and just,

straight up asked for my number out of nowhere. He's got a pen and a piece of paper, though. And he hands it to me and he's like, can I get your number? Did he see your wedding ring or no? I don't know. He came up on my right and my hand was down on my left. But I immediately look up and like, oh, hey, sorry, yeah, I can't. I just felt really good, you know?

And then, but he was 10. Oh, what? It was some little kid. And in fact, the piece of paper he handed me was probably like, I think it was some, you know, coloring book page from the restaurant. And I think his friend, like, sent him over as a dare of like a big next person that walks out of the restaurant, you won't go ask for their number or something. It just seemed a little ridiculous. But I said, no, but he begged me. He said, please.

And I said, no, I'm sorry. I can't. But good luck with that. And I kept walking. You don't think he knew you from the radio show? Well, honestly, this sounds a lot of friends. friend, but my friend and I both agreed, we thought he was a listener of the show and he wanted maybe my autograph.

Not your phone number. But I thought, oh, that's cute. But no, he didn't say anything about the show. So then I felt lame for that because I'll ever assume that. But when someone walks up with you with a pin and paper. So then, yeah, I think it was just, I happened to be the person that walked out and it was some, you know, 10, 11 year old dare. And I was the recipient.

That's awkward story number one. Yeah. This is awkward story number two. Do you know Ray Mundo's been selling Barbie dolls? What? No. Ray Mundo or audio producer. Ray, so how did you get into the Barbie doll business?

We were given about $3 or $400 worth of Barbie dolls from Bay's mom. Don't know how she got them. They're all collector's items. And she said, hey, you can sell these on Craigslist. They're probably worth a lot of money. And they are. So we've been making, I mean, one of them we sold. They're all still in their boxes and everything.

We sold for 50, 60. We're making good money. And I'm the one that's selling them, honestly, out of my trunk. And so I thought this is a great little business. thing we're getting free money, but the thing that's going to suck is if I meet up with somebody and they recognize me. And they're like, that's Ray from the Bobby Buncheon and he's selling Barbie dolls out of his trunk. Well, it happened. I met up with somebody, sold it. The deal was done. He goes, dude, are you Ray from the Bobby Buncher? And I'm like, yeah, man, it's just

the family gave me these. It's not like I'd do this, you know, this is, but I was like, I got to get ahead of this story because if somebody puts it on Twitter and it's a picture of me with Barbie dolls in the Walmart parking lot. That's just not a good look for me. So yeah, we're about to sell out. I still got a couple in the trunk, but there you go. How are you meeting the people that are wanting to buy these? Craigslist. We got them all listed up there. And what are they buying them for? Like they're kids? Or are they collectibles? They're all collectibles. Yeah, they're worth a lot. And I mean, they're summer from over 10 years ago and mint conditions. So they really do have a good value to them. So what's the most that you've gotten for a single Barbie doll? $75. It was.

Wow. Yeah, it was a whatever. It's a blue one. And I almost think it was named Princess Diana. And that's the one that's sold the most so far. Do you have any other ones that could go for more? Potentially. Is there like one special one that you're like, boy, when this one hits, we're going to get a couple hundred bucks. No, no, no, no. We thought we had some that were worth a ton of money, but then you get to research it and you're like, oh, it's just another one of the 75ers. But yet, these, because they're in such good condition, are surprisingly worth a lot of money. What's the most, like, what's the coolest collector's item that you guys have? think about that for a second. It doesn't have to be the most expensive thing.

But like, what's the coolest collector's item that you have? I'll go first. I'm just kind of tossing this on you guys. I have an old Jack Parr microphone. He did the Tonight Show before Johnny Carson. You know, a couple before Johnny Carson. But, you know, he's credited with really developing this style for late night that is still happening today. And I'm such a fan of late night talk that I bought that.

No, it was given to me as a gift. And so I still have it. And I never want it to get messed up. So I kind of keep it away, which I shouldn't. Like, who cares? But that to me is really cool. So I'm going to go, that is mine. You?

Mine has to be, it's a guitar that's signed by Taylor Swift. But it's super special to me because one of our listeners, that's a doctor, bought it at some auction for like cancer research, I think. And gifted it to me years ago, I think during our first joy week for Pimpin'Joy. So it's like super special. And I have it hang up. And sometimes if people come over, they're like, who signed that? Like, Taylor Swift, and then I feel like they think I bought it or something.

But I was like, no, no, no, that was a gift. But it is really cool. Eddie? Oh, mine's easy. Mine's, when I worked in news, I captured a meteor falling out of the sky. And it made national news and everything. So the National Astrological Society gifted me a piece of that meteor once they found it. And I have that.

Oh, that's cool. Watch Fox? Yeah. When I was a kid, I was at a Cubs Astros game. And Steve Stone was the announcement. was the announcer for the Cubs, and I saw him getting on the Cubs bus, team bus, and he had a cigar he was smoking,

and he threw it out. And so I climbed the barricade and got a half-smoke Steve Stone cigar. Ramundo? Mickey Mantle baseball card. I went through my dad's cards. He let me. He didn't want him anymore.

And a lot of them were older, but there was one that stood out. It was Mickey Mantle and ended up being over $400. I still got it. Wow. He's going to sell that with Barbie soon enough. Mark my word.

Let's go. Number five. So Red Lobster once lost more than $3 million during an endless crab promotion

after the executives underestimated how much people would eat. They lost that much money. Yeah, whoopsie. The whole all you can eat, that's risky. There are some people that can eat. And you need to fine print that thing, too. Like, it's all you can eat unless we tap you out. Yeah, that's a lot of money.

Number four. So the white dash lines on the highway, you know, that indicate if you could get over it. How big do you think those are? Like, how long? Three feet. Right? I was thinking two or three feet. Well, because we go fast over them, they just go by.

So we're in a car. Okay, they're 10 feet long. Oh, wow. That's crazy. Are you sure? No, I'm going to go out and measure because I don't believe. No chance those things are 10 feet. I bet you're right, Amy.

Is it like the interstate lines? Lunchbox, we need you on the interstate. Yeah, pull over on the highway. Get out there. Is it a tape measure? He's like guessing. Okay, now go. Number three.

So if you're born over the United States on a plane, even from foreign parents, you can still claim U.S. citizenship. What if you're just flying over America to get to Europe? Yeah, that's what they're saying. Even say your foreign parents are taking you on a flight while they're pregnant and that you give birth over Kentucky, then you can claim U.S. That's cool.

And like we mentioned earlier, Megan Markle and Prince Harry's next daughter will all can be the queen and can be the president. Yeah. Because she'll be born in America. Amazing. It'd be probably, I mean, they're both hard, right?

To get. And some people would have to fall out for her to be the queen, but she could be the first person ever to be the queen and the president of the United States. Number two. So despite being the large, largest animal on earth with a mouth large enough to fit 100 people.

The blue whale cannot swallow any object wider than a beach ball because their throats are too small. So they can fit 100 people in there, but they'd have to go down one by one. What's the point of that then? That's a big mouth, 100 people? Big mouth, tiny throat. Our friend Laura Petroski, who used to work at Fox News in Austin, she couldn't even swallow pills because her throat was so small.

Did you know that? No. She just told us about that. That's Fun Fact Friday right there. She was like, I can't even take a pill. She'd have to crush it up and put it in liquid because her throat was so small she couldn't even swallow a pill. Oh, wow. Isn't that crazy?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year now. We just moved in together. I care about him so much. I try to express that in all different ways. He however, can't ever seem to tell me how he feels. When I ask, he says things like, well, I just signed

a lease with you, or I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to be. Should I just be patient with him? Words of affirmation. That's my love language. So this has been a big adjustment for me. Thanks for the help. Love you guys. Jenna. Well, I used to be this guy. So I think that's why she's asking me. For those new listeners, I never told anybody I loved them ever my whole life until now with Caitlin. And even then that was a big step for me. And I did and I do. But to say those things when you have never said them, it's like a bathtub being corked for 10 years and it's just like,

it's hard to get that cork out the first time. I say you be patient with him because he's saying I just signed a lease with you, which is like saying, hey, listen, I just committed to you. Different words. Maybe not the words that you need to hear right now, but you can work him toward that. I read, I just signed a lease with you, like, hey, I just made an effort to commit to you long term.

Different words, maybe not as pleasing to your ears, but I do hear and see that there. Or I wouldn't be here with you if I didn't want to be. Again, that's like him saying, I have chosen because of my heart and our relationship to be together. And I'm very happy we are together. He just doesn't know how to communicate his thoughts yet. but you can train him.

I've gotten a lot better. I'm not perfect by any means. But I was this guy. I don't know how old he is either. But I say you have patience with him because thank God, Caitlin, have patience with me, especially early because I was this guy.

I was like, well, we wouldn't be quarantining together. And then I would say stuff like crazy about you instead of didn't love you. We're like, we want to be quarantined together if it was crazy about you. But I got there. If there's hope in me, there's hope in him. Amy, your thoughts?

No, I think that she should communicate this to him if she hasn't already. And then maybe they go over the five love languages. She can look them up, have them ready to go, and then see where maybe his needs aren't being met and see how she can fulfill anything for him. And then she can express, well, hey, this is what I need and use as an opportunity so that he can grow in this area. He may not even realize it. Just don't make him feel attacked. Right. Because he will go back into his turtle shell.

He'll get defensive. And you'll never get anything out of him. As long as you can keep him out of the shell. Again, I'm talking to me right now. As long as you can keep him out of the shell, you can communicate with him. Right. So keep him out of the shell while also talking with him about how he can improve. It's delicate.

Yeah, it sounds like it. It's like your son's therapy. When they have those hedgehogs. Headhogs. And they're not comfortable. Yeah, act like you're holding a hedgehog. Yeah. Their quills come out when they're not comfortable. And you have to make it feel comfortable so the quills go down, then you can talk to it.

So French bulldog owners are afraid for their dogs after all these dog nappings.

Lady Gaga's being the most high profile. But in 2021 alone, there's been multiple cases or thefts. One in San Francisco, a woman was attacked at gunpoint. They wanted her five-month-old puppy. You had a couple in Texas that were approached with an AR-15. And then the people grab their bulldog. I mean, there's several more. But they say it's like walking around with $7,000 on a leash.

And the FBI said that the average take in a... bank robbery is about $6,500, so really stealing a dog because it's a lot easier than robbing a bank. Yeah, the dog's a lot cuter than money. Well, I guess it depends who you ask. I think lunchbox would go. The money's cuter than the dog. I'd sell any dog for money.

Wait, what? You would sell any dog for money? Yeah. Your dog. Yes. If you gave me $500,000, okay. But no one who's giving them $500,000. She just said $7,500.

I mean, I'd have to think about it. What? You give him your dog? I'm glad they're not coming after bulldogs like mine. Oh, yeah. They see mine and they're like, he snores too much. It's too lazy. I don't want that one.

Oh, just while we're talking about dogs, it just makes you think of a headline that I saw that dog's paws are actually cleaner than the bottoms of our shoes. I saw that too. And sometimes we freak out about our dog's paws, but we walk around all the time with our shoes on. So maybe the ultimate flex isn't a fancy handbag or a big watch. It's just getting you a bulldog, a French bulldog.

Right. What else? So this bride is upset because her. Her sister-in-law purchased a tiara for her daughter who is a flower girl. So the bride was like, hey, here's the wedding dress or the dress that I want the flower girl to wear. Go to the store, get it. Well, when the mom went there to buy the dress, she was like, oh, this tiara is cute. I'm going to put it on her.

But the bride is like, whoa, whoa, whoa, this is my wedding. I don't want her in a tiara. So the bride took it to Reddit, didn't know who was in the wrong or how to handle it. And I kind of made me wonder if this is what Megan Markle and Kate were fighting about. What if that is them? They're fine. That's literal. They went to Reddit to settle it.

I think the bride has the right to go, don't put that in her hair. I know, but then the little girl's already excited about the tiara. Tough. Hey, little girl. Things happen. Life's not fair. Yeah, you can wear it at the reception.

Nine out of ten people edit or filter photos in some small way before posting them online. I do. They give you the option. Why not just pop through that? I don't take them out and put them into another app. Some people do that or they'll manipulate, Photoshop, whatever ways. But I find cool lighting to use. What are you looking for?

Hide your wrinkles? Like, what are you? No, I just like the lighting. Sometimes I do black and white if there are too many wrinkles. That's how to get rid of those. But I'm, and every time I'm like, I'm going to check all the filters out and see which one I like the best. And I always settle on the Nashville one. It's the very end of it.

Oh, okay, naturally. It's a good, like, kind of yellowish, but a lot of light one. But what the study found is that most everyone filters or edits all their photos before posting them online. Different color filter to make you look tanner or whitening teeth or reshaping jaw or nose lines. I don't do any of that stuff. Oh, yeah, that's a lot. I wish I knew how. I just haven't invested the time to learn how to do that.

You wouldn't do it, though. Even shaving off some weight. Experts say in some ways young people's familiarity with online tools is a good. thing because their skills will help them with future jobs, but if you're spending more than 30 minutes on a picture, you're dramatically changing the way you look in normal life. But here's the thing about the filters, too, on Instagram story or Snapchat. Yes. Like people use those filters.

It'll change your face 18%. But it'll still look like you, but make you look like what you feel is a more attractive version of you that you never want to post one without a filter. I don't post filter. I do filters like funny filters if I do any. Devil horns coming out of my head. You're like a unicorn. But I have friends that will only post on a story if they are fully filtered up with something.

But those filters are pretty good. Yeah. Do you use them? I used to use them in the stories. But if I find a fun one, yes. But I tried to really start to restrict it because I would look at myself and then I would look in the mirror or I would pull up my camera. And I'll be like, wait a second. What?

Is that what I look like? And it started to, you know, I just didn't want to get to an unhealthy place. So when I do a story, I mean, don't get me wrong. maybe I'll go outside, try to get good lighting that's natural, but I really try not to filter it. The worst is when you open up your camera on your phone and it's facing you and on the side of your face is like, boom! And you're like, oh my gosh. I know. It's like under and it's like, oh.

Yeah, it's the worst. I have a podcast that's out today. It's called the Bobbycast. It's a music podcast, but I bring on guests and Jimmy Allen is sitting with me for an hour. And we talk a lot about the Morgan Wallin situation, how he kind of, I think he said it himself. he inserted himself in Morgan Wallen's life after that happened more than it already was. But at one point two,

we talked about Kobe Bryant, and he talked about how he met Kobe Bryant back in 2006. And I was like, huh, you weren't even famous in 2006. And he goes, yeah, I know. But here is that clip. I was sitting like four rows up behind the Lakers bench, and I saw people just going backstage and get drinks. So I had a cup in my hand,

and I just followed another group of black guys. I think they were like rappers or something. I don't know. But nobody stopped me. And I was back there just hanging out, act like I'm on my phone, talking Kobe Walt. by said hey what's up to him and i was like cobb what up good to see you bro act like i knew he said hey

what's up man he was like he was like what's your name me i said jimmy so i saw him there uh then i saw him at a few events before we bumped we bumped each other like i think i've had about over 15 20 conversations did ever get to the point where you guys just saw each of us like jimmy cobi oh yeah we got to that point pretty cool huh that's amazing it's a fantastic podcast and i and i and he was very generous with his stories and we set for an hour and just really is great So check out the Bobby cast. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A man in Eugene, Oregon is lucky to be alive and it's all because of his rescue dog, Jack. Tom Braun credits Jack for saving his life while he was asleep and choking in the middle of the night. Tom said he thought he was dreaming that he was choking. Isn't that so weird? Like when you dream something and you wake up and you're kind of doing it or you hear something on TV that feels like it is. And that's a scary version of it.

He was choking in his dream, but then the dog started barking really loud and starts nudging him while he's choking. He woke up, noticed there was blood on a shirt because he had some dental work done, and apparently a blood vessel had opened up and he was starting to choke because the blood was going in his throat. Wow.

If it wasn't for Jack, the dog, Tom's like, I don't think I would have woke up, I thought it was choking, and then all of a sudden you're full of him, you can't breathe at all. Dang. Luckily, he was taken to the hospital right away, treated in the hospital. Now he's doing well. But without the dog, he said he might have choked to death. Crazy story. That's what it's all about.

live at American Idol and I have a big or you know there's just a lot of this stuff where I'm like oh I got butterflies I'm ready to go or if I'm you know sports back in the day oh yeah I think butterflies are exciting regardless of when you're getting them and you should feel lucky to be able to get them right I agree I had butterflies forever with Caitlin and you still get little flutters I still get little flutters obviously it's not the same butterflies are you get butterflies because you're doing something that you don't do all the time right that's why they come because you do eventually get comfortable. I do get comfortable going out. Once I have my full hour of jokes down,

I feel pretty comfortable going out and do an hour of stand-up or playing some music. But at first I'm like, oh, I'm excited. I got a little butterfly because it's new to me. I would disagree with that. I think butterflies are good. Actually, I would say they're great and you should hope to be able to keep them. At least a fly.

Maybe one butterfly? Because maybe when they're all gone and all the butterflies have died, that's when you're sad. I had never heard that theory either. Me neither. Amy, what's up this weekend? You know, I don't know. We're trying to figure out something fun to do. So maybe get out. I think it's like getting to where my kids want to be outside because they're Haitian. So the excuse when it's too cold is often this is unhealthy for us.

It's not part of our Haitian blood. And so I get that. But now I think we're hitting that stride where we can hit the park, go hike. Yeah. Come out of hibernation. What about you? Going to Northern California slash Nevada because I got to go. climb trees.
