The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show. I wanted to watch that Beakrum documentary on Netflix, and not because I'm a big fan of Beakrum Yoga.
Starting point is 00:02:04 I do do Hot Yoga. Don't know the difference in Hot Yoga and Beakram Yoga. But there for a while, that's all you were doing. Oh, my gosh. I was a Beakram Yoga fanatic. What's the difference of what I do now in Beakram Yoga? Well, Beakram Yoga, I mean, where you go, because I go there too, they offer like a Hot 26 series.
Starting point is 00:02:20 So it's the Beakram series, but because they aren't Beakram certified, you can't say that it's Beakram, which now nobody wants to re-associated with them anyways. but he brought this practice to America. And when I first started doing it, I think like on the show, do you remember way back? It was like, I don't know, 2007 or something,
Starting point is 00:02:38 we did that fitness challenge with the news. Do you all of us? And we all had to, we were like trying to get fit and eat right and like workout. And I started doing Beakram then for that. Also too, like y'all dared me to do the splits on the show and I couldn't.
Starting point is 00:02:55 So I thought, well, I need to go to yoga because I want to get flexible. It's like a fun dare. I don't remember. We were up to some zany stuff back then. Back then, you really should have listened to our show. But it was really the combination of the health challenge with the local news and then the splits that brought me to Bikram Yoga. And I went, I mean, I was one of the people.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I was watching this documentary and I was like, oh my gosh, I was like those people. It's all I wanted to do. Lunchbox would go with me sometimes. I mean, and it took probably two hours out of my day, which now I'm like, how did I even? Like, I just had way more time back then. but I got my family involved. It's all I talked about. I'm sure it was annoying.
Starting point is 00:03:31 But I just was very into it. And yeah, I believed in everything that he said and did. And he said he brought that here and that was his series. And he's a lie. Everything, he's a liar and he's a sexual predator and he. Is this all from the Netflix show or to your own heart? No.
Starting point is 00:03:49 I learned this from the documentary. I'm like, what? He's now fled America. He's not even here anymore. Really? Yes. He lives in like, I don't know. parts of the world, still does Beekrum training, by the way, which I'm like, why are people still
Starting point is 00:04:00 going to Beekrum and going to his studio after all these allegations and these women that have come forward that at training? Did he make a ton of money? Oh, yeah. He has like, I mean, I remember even saying that my mom was like, wait, so, because my mom would go with me. And I would be like, it's a whole crazy. He lives in Beverly Hills and he drives like six Bentley's. And some people are like, that's not like a yogi. Like a lot of yogis seem modest and humble and whatever. I was like, oh, well, he's like an American yogi. But he's from... He's a capitalist yogi.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Yes. Basically, he was born in Calcutta, though, and he brought... He had someone there that he practiced yoga under, but it was his master there or whatever that came up with the series, but I guess he was able to come to America and just say it was his. Do you recommend the show, though? Yes. Even if you didn't do yoga? Even if you didn't do yoga, I think you'll find it interesting.
Starting point is 00:04:52 But if you've ever been to a Beakram class, you will definitely. find it interesting. He said that his first clients when he came to America were like Elvis and President Nixon. It's a lie. Oh, is that true? Well, that's- Is it true that it's a lie? The courts in the documentary say it's a lie.
Starting point is 00:05:11 No way. Listen, so that's how he said he got his visa. He said that Nixon was in Hawaii, had horrible back pain. So he was summoned in to help Nixon with his back pain. In exchange, Nixon said, here's a visa, welcome to America. Like, you can live here now. And there's no record of him ever working with Nixon. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:31 The Gwyneth Paltrow show shows up in my left. They have a new thing, too. Yeah. It's really good, man. You've watched this show? Have you? It's not really good. Of course I've watched this.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Gwenneth. I've watched the first two episodes. It's wacky. You've watched those episodes? Did you buy her candle? No, no. Their vagina candle? No, I did not buy that candle.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Smells like my vagina. You imagine what my wife would think of I brought home? It doesn't really. It's not really. her of a It's not? No. That's what they said it was.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Yeah. No, I think that is clever marketing. Oh. Well, so I should put my testicle candle away?
Starting point is 00:06:04 I thought that I thought we were just doing it. I thought that was. Wait, hold on. I've developed a whole line over my
Starting point is 00:06:11 bee hole in testicles. And like, well, that was a great. That's disgusting. But is the goop thing I wanted to watch it. Yeah, it's whack. I mean,
Starting point is 00:06:17 and it's, there's like, what do you call them disclaimers all over it that says, you know, this is not like official medical advice,
Starting point is 00:06:24 But it's interesting. Like the one I saw, they were doing mushrooms and acid and kind of just to see how that could be done medicinally and how it can really open some emotions or help you deal with emotions that you've never dealt with before. Kind of interesting, but still, ooh, out there. I love it. I want to watch it.
Starting point is 00:06:44 And. I think Gwyneth is all over. It's kind of cool. I mean, she's built a massive thing with that. Yeah, and what? I don't know. And I'm just fascinated. Yes, like how I wonder, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:54 What's that rate at Mike? We throw that up? One day it might be normal to be like, yeah, I'm trying to go through some stuff right now. So I'm going to go take some mushrooms. So Beekroom got a 67% on the Netflix show. Okay, then maybe it's really if you're just on yoga. The Goop Lab got a 19%. Oh gosh.
Starting point is 00:07:12 But is the Goop Lab? Is that where the Julian Huff stuff was showing up where she was like at that? And it's all vagina. Like, are she standing on the picture? Yes, it looks like a vagina. She's like she's standing in a vagina. The episode I saw, there was none of that. Okay, but I'm just telling you the image for the show.
Starting point is 00:07:28 The Goop Lab, it's basically her standing in a vagina, and the tagline is, reach new depths. Interesting. So they're really rolling with that. What does Goop mean, Amy? Like, what is that? I don't remember. Does it mean something, or is it just a word? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Well, those shows suck. We do talk about later on in this cheer that the show on Netflix, which is fantastic. And that one gets a good one, huh Mike? Good score? Yeah. Study finds men are twice as emotional as women at work. Thoughts Amy? I'm going to roll through some stories real quick.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Say it again. Are you playing on your computer? Looking up Goop. Playing. She's playing again. Playing. I'm looking up Goop. Listen, Amy being on her phone during the show
Starting point is 00:08:10 is going to be the death of me. Oh my gosh. You said, what does Goop mean? I said, I don't know, and I was curious. Cheer is 96% positive. Why, do you get frustrated when she's on her phone? story. Yes, he does and he has every right to and I get frustrated with myself and we don't
Starting point is 00:08:26 need to bring it up right now because I don't need that in my life. We'll do a segment. I don't need it in my life right now. Why are you doing this? No, stop. You don't need it either. I'm going to move on. We don't need to go there. Absolutely not. Just say what you said. Say what you said and you said, what do you think
Starting point is 00:08:42 about that, Amy? And I said, say it again. Because you were playing on your computer. You're over there playing Farm Bill instead of No, I really, now I'm curious, like, why is it called Goop? Is Farmville still I'm sure it is. I see ads on Facebook. Oh, listen, now I know why, and this is actually interesting. According to Gwyneth Paltrow, the company's name came from someone telling her that successful internet companies have double O's in their name,
Starting point is 00:09:04 and she wanted it to be a word that means nothing but could actually mean anything. So, so smart. I love her. That's smart. She's awesome. Boxer brief, this new boxer brief defends your crotch from direct hits. Especially if you're wearing a baby in the front because babies kick their feet back. It's built for that.
Starting point is 00:09:27 The padded underwear that were made to help keep your crotch protected from baby carrier kits. And also, I would say a little male enhancement because if we've got a pad in there, it's going to help you out a little bit. Like the visual you mean? That's going to be a bummer for people
Starting point is 00:09:43 that need to use, like, kick someone for self-defense if they can go on. Do you think robbers are going to put on the baby pad underwear? All right, we're going to rob tonight. Put on your baby padded underwear. I don't know. Maybe. This one dude, and I'm going to end on this story,
Starting point is 00:10:01 well, it's a trio of New Yorkers, has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $15,000 for Housing Works, which is a New York City nonprofit that offers a healing community of people living with and affected by AIDS. And it's a good cause, but they're doing something funny.
Starting point is 00:10:14 They are going to watch that movie Cats that just came out for 24 hours straight. And they want people to donate because they're watching the worst movie ever. They say, Yeah, they're watching it for 24 hours, and so the people are donating to that. Is it not good? I've heard it's pretty bad.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Oh, no, it was a disaster. Really? It's crazy. The one Taylor Swift's in? Yes. Yeah, it got a 20%. It's as bad as goop. Yeah, well, it sounds like gop is worse.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Basically, you go and you watch a goop. We're going to play Tuesday's show. We do talk about some interesting things on today's show. Mike D. hands me a list of things we talked about. Chase joins us. I get an apology letter from my neighbor who apparently judge. me for something that I didn't know I was being judged for. We do talk about my therapist and I am going in to tell her today that I now have a girlfriend. I give some fun facts about, I love a couple
Starting point is 00:11:05 fun facts about her. Yeah. She did message me and say that, because she doesn't always listen to the show, but she will some now, especially that she's like, what do you say about me? Because she's weird about it. She doesn't, you don't like the public thing. She was like, tell Amy. I don't know when you said this. Thank you because she said I was like Julianne Huff. You're welcome. I don't remember when that was either, but... Is that who you would say that she looks most like? Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Eddie? Who would you say she looks most like? I don't know. You had to pick a celebrity. Like hair, looks, and body, all the three things. I don't really thought about this. She did say that it was a little weird when Eddie's comment about her body was rocking. Did I say that?
Starting point is 00:11:44 In the background. Apparently, I don't ever listen to segments back. Rocking. She was like, I sat with Eddie for two days. I felt like we were good friends. And you'd hear him in the background and go, yeah, rocking bod. She was like, that felt a little weird. We did talk about that, though, when we were hanging out.
Starting point is 00:11:57 We were like, do you ask her, do you work out a lot? She's like, yeah, I work out. Like, part of her life. It's her routine. So, I mean, that's what we were talking about in a different way. Why is it weird to have Eddie being like, do you work out a lot? We're just talking about our lifestylesles, what we do every day? Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:12:11 But if someone asked you, do you work out a lot, what would you say? No. Oh, okay. Not at all. Yeah, because when she said that, I was like, yeah, me too. She's like, she laughed. Obviously, I don't. Apparently you said something like, oh yeah, rocking.
Starting point is 00:12:24 When Amy... I don't remember that. Sorry if I said that. You can check out today's show, and you're into it now. We're going to get started with today. Here is Tuesday, January 28th show. Appreciate you guys for hanging out. The Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Here we go. We're back. We're back. Are we still on? We still recording? We forgot to do the Tuesday song. Thank you, Amy. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:12:41 We're about to end the podcast, and Amy's like, Tuesday. Oh, she was doing this with her mouth. I was like, what? What are you doing before? Okay, here we go. Hit me with that song. Come on. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Before we get into it here, this little song about, by the way, I have a friend who's really good at music producing, we're gonna produce this song as a real song.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yeah. The best day of the week, you all know it's my time, so I made a song about Tuesday, so happens it rhymes, the lowest number of crimes is a super bingo at night.

Starting point is 00:17:53 in our segment called What's the Haps. Hey, what's the Hats? You know, yesterday I was talking to my dog in the struggles that I'm having. training him. So many messages going, well, you have an English bulldog. It's just like that. And I was like, I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:18:09 I've been working a lot with them. They're like, well, two, it's a puppy, English bulldog. Three, they're like, you should reach out to Caesar Milan the dog whisper. Oh, yeah. I don't know. I did pee beside him once, so now think about it. We already, that's cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wonder if you don't remember that. Probably not, because we didn't talk. I was next to Caesar Milan at a urinal. I really should have got his number then, but I didn't. Scoo of Steve is our new executive producer, who by the way knows pretty much everybody. Can you get me Caesar Milan on the phone at some point? Yeah, I can do it for you. Anything you need, I got it.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I got you. Listen to this. That's amazing. Whatever you need, I got it. Do you think in next week or tomorrow, or you can get us Caesar Milan, like in your heart of hearts? Heart of hearts, yeah. I'll make it happen. Come on. Look at this guy. If you can do that kind of stuff, I have some requests.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Whoa, whoa, one time. Whoa, whoa. Okay, I won't have. I'll wait until he gets Caesar on. We'll see what happens. And then I'll talk to you later, scuba. All right, sounds good. I've requested.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Don't be hijacking up for your podcast. I don't want Caesar. No, I want Caesar on here for this. No, it's not a guest. It's a very specific thing that I'm working on. You want me to say it now? Now if I say it, this is going to be like, well, if I don't get it because I won't get it. There's no way.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Well, you, maybe you could get it. I don't know. You just walked all a big circle back. Because I don't say it out loud. Is it about birthday? No. Because you're going to make a big party for that. It's going to be a big 40th birthday.
Starting point is 00:19:32 There's a lot of pressure on Amy this year. Yeah. Amy, you got this. Okay, yeah, but I have, I have to ask you something about that. Which one do you want to do? Do you want to talk about birthday or do you want to talk about Scoobie Steve booking somebody? Oh. You can pick one.
Starting point is 00:19:44 I guess we should talk about your birthday. You're going to, no, we should talk about Scoobo Steve because he's sitting here at the microphone. Okay, then I'll save your birthday. But remind me, because this is the thing. I forgot until just now. Go ahead. Okay. Well, I'm doing a whole like a four episode series, like a special thing within my podcast.
Starting point is 00:19:59 about disordered eating and eating disorders. I've already had it planned out. We just said he's not your podcast, Booker. Oh, well, you just told me you to talk about it. I'm gonna, what did you, I'm confused. Didn't you want me to ask him for who I want? Not on your podcast. Oh, okay, well, never mind.
Starting point is 00:20:14 It's for my podcast. No, everyone can't be using scuba see for their podcast. I wasn't going to until he just said I can get anybody. For the show. Okay, I don't use him for any, I don't, scuba see, but I don't use you for my podcast. I just had an idea when you said that because I was like, oh my gosh, this would be amazing.
Starting point is 00:20:29 And you want to get Taylor Swift? I just need one thing for her. Wow. She finally came out and said she, not finally, I never knew. She revealed that she struggled with an eating disorder and I was like, oh my goodness, and it's for people that are on the other side and we're doing letters to ourselves. I think it's her Miss Americana. Yes, her documentary comes out January 31st.
Starting point is 00:20:49 I can't wait. My only point is there are like many podcasts that live in the show. We can't use scuba steep for booking our podcast. I wasn't going to. You just tried. Well, I wouldn't have done it anyway, so don't worry about it. Wow. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Shoot. Okay. Now you're going to talk about your birthday? No, because I have to... What's it about? Can you do it in 30 seconds? Yes. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:21:09 Okay. So you're dating someone now. Okay. And I don't know. I don't... She's still new. So, and your birthday's in April. I'm assuming she'll be around in April.
Starting point is 00:21:19 I would hope. But it's like, how much do I involve her in the... Because she probably isn't be like, wait, who's his Amy girl planning my boyfriend's birthday or whatever? You know? Oh, no. It's not going to be a thing. It's not going to be a thing.
Starting point is 00:21:31 And then I obviously want to involve her, so I just need to know. No, just do your thing. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, because that's worth asking about. Yeah, I think it's fair. It's a good question. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:21:42 We felt like we got everything accomplished here. We got like four things here. And that was under 30 seconds. This is all my way. Good job, Amy. I'm proud of myself. All right, over to Amy now. Hey, what's the hat?
Starting point is 00:21:54 So, like, parenting can just be really tricky sometimes because you try to teach your kids, don't talk to strangers. And then you have them in situations like, you know, when you're walking up to church and there's nice people that kind of greet you outside and say, hey, how are you doing? Strangers. Strangers. To Stevenson, yes. So we're walking up and that's exactly what happens. And Stevenson just says, I'm not allowed to talk to strangers and keeps walking.
Starting point is 00:22:16 And I was like, okay. Sorry, I was like, we're learning about the dangers of strangers. And, you know, because he had his whole scooter mishap where he's like following strangers. So I've really been harping on that he needs to leave strangers alone. thing. And now he's just so confused as to who he can talk to and who he can't talk to. So who can he talk to? I don't blame him for being confused. I said, it is tricky. And anytime I talk to like someone in the hall at church, he'd be like, Mom, you didn't know that person. I said, I'm an adult Stevenson, and I can gauge what is safe. He's like, well,
Starting point is 00:22:45 what would happen if I talked? So it's just this fine line. And I tried to share with him most anybody at church. If they're saying hi, you can say hi. How are you? I'm fine. You can have a conversation and carry on your way. Not necessarily a stranger. What about if he's with you, he can say hi to anybody? Yes, as long as mom or dad or like Bobby or like an adult, is there with you? Like, you can talk to people because we can keep an eye on you and make sure that you're safe. A lot of times it's when you're alone and a stranger approaches you and wants to talk about a lot of things. You need to put your guard up. It's exhausting. Because you think just when they're getting it, they don't. Does your husband talk about that? Yeah, I mean, we both had to. He's,
Starting point is 00:23:27 He's way a little bit more harsh. Like I try to like really sit him down. Like the whole, when he followed that guy trying to arrest him because he thought he stole something, that was, that was scary to me because the guy. Amy's son tried to do a citizen's arrest. Yes. At nine years old, by the way. He wants to be a police officer.
Starting point is 00:23:43 He got a police motorcycle thingy for Christmas and he just takes it very seriously. So that's why the, why there's a stranger talk lately is because all that. Speaking to Amy's husband, I had to call Amy's husband. I called him this morning. I knew he was, I was like, Amy Jasmine, away. She said, yeah. So I called him before the show because I fly to Hawaii tomorrow. As soon as the show is over, I get on a flight and I have to get there in time to wake up, do the morning show from Hawaii because that's where I'll be on Thursday and Friday.
Starting point is 00:24:08 So the shows will still happen, but I'm really nervous about that. I don't like that. I don't like flying over water that much. And I was like, hey, anytime I get nervous about flying, I call him. And I'm like, so what happens if we're up in the air? And it's like, relax, boo-boo, you'll be okay. He said, sit back and enjoy cry. He's like, sit back. He said, you'll be fine. Just enjoy the ride.
Starting point is 00:24:30 So I do it. Anytime I have an airplane question, I do, I'm like a kid. What happens is to wing brakes? All right. Hey. Hey, what's the hat? Wait, but doesn't that scare you though if you're above all that water? No, he just said to you, it's just like you're flying over land.
Starting point is 00:24:44 I know, but if you're flying over land, you can find a road to land on. You're flying over water. You're just done. Yeah, okay. Lunchbox, what's up? Man, today is a big day. It's the most pregnant my wife has ever been. She is 34 weeks pregnant.
Starting point is 00:24:56 right now. And with our first child, she gave birth at 33 weeks and six days. So she made it over that hump, 34 weeks. Hey, man, we're coming down the home stretch. But it's just exciting that she's been really nervous about, oh my gosh, what if it happens again? What if we don't make it? 34 weeks. Most pregnant she's ever been. So pretty awesome. Yeah. How many weeks when the baby comes out, supposedly? 40 weeks, but we were told by the doctor now that she is battling gestational diabetes that we will go no more than 39 weeks. So we have five weeks. Five weeks. Five weeks. weeks or less remaining until the child is born. Wow. I have two kids. Damn. Life comes at you fast.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Don't blink. I need to get one of those. We're all doing songs. Hey. Hey, what's the hat? Eddie? Last weekend, me, lunchbox and scuba Steve, we surf for charity and it was really cool. We got to, it was like a wave pool and we surfed and cameras were there and people were there. And it was a fun event. We raised $5,000. But it was a pool. You know, so we all had to take our shirts off. And, you know, Lunchbox took his shirt off and I saw something that maybe concerned me a little bit. He's got a lot of moles. Oh, I have moles too.
Starting point is 00:26:05 It is concerning. Everywhere. You ever had him checked? I had one cut off my face like 10 years ago, like right here by my nose. I chopped it off. But I don't even know about the ones on my back. I don't know what Eddie's talking about. Yeah, there's a lot.
Starting point is 00:26:21 And there's even one in his arm that I've seen for like two years now. It's scary to me because, again, I've had Dr. go, we're a little close on this. I've had like five cut off my back, the back of my neck. So, I mean, what are you saying? Next time he goes to doctors, have him look at it. I would think so. I mean, I'm just buddy looking out.
Starting point is 00:26:38 I mean, I wasn't checking him out or anything. It was just something that. Why would you even say that? I mean, I appreciate you looking at my body. We don't think you're checking him out just because you're worried about possible skin cancer. Well, I say that because when a bunch of dudes take their shirts off, you start looking like, all right, let's see how, okay. Cool, you work out.
Starting point is 00:26:54 You do? Here's the thing with Eddie, too. talking on my podcast over the weekend, I said, because Scoobie Steve had his shirt off. And I was like, look at Scoobie. Looks, you know, looks pretty good. Yeah. And. Oh, is he?
Starting point is 00:27:05 Pretty buff? Oh, yeah. You could tell Scoba used to work out back in the day. Hey, you just to work out. Bring Scuba back up to the microphone. What does that mean? Hey, Scuba. So I was telling Eddie, you were kind of far from the camera, but I was like, and I
Starting point is 00:27:17 noticed dude's bodies all the time. I got no problem with that. Yeah. And I was like, dang, does scuba have muscles? And Eddie's like, he looks like he used to have muscles. Yeah, I appreciate that comment. Yeah. Do you exercise?
Starting point is 00:27:27 I have an exercise in a good six months since having a kid. It's a little difficult to go to the gym. But I do work out. But it's been a minute. Are you pretty buff, dude? I'm in pretty good shape, athletic, I would say. So I had Eddie rank the bodies, or he ranked them. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Oh my gosh. He ranked scuba first. For sure. He wins. Eddie second and then lunchbox third. Dead, dead last. I agree with that, yeah. A day.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Wait. Lunchbox, how do you rank? What? I mean, I know I'm number one. This is what happens. When you take off your shirt or around other guys and they get jealous, they start throwing stones because they want to make you feel bad because they want to bring you down to their level. Listen, I know who the ladies man was,
Starting point is 00:28:05 and it's this guy right here. Was. He was. He's married now. I can't go out to the bars and pick up chicks. So are we. And Scoop of Steve, his body's taken care of. Thank you. I appreciate that. It's very nice. Oh, that's cute.
Starting point is 00:28:19 And I know, maybe I didn't even ask Eddie from rank bodies. He just started ranking bodies. I'm not sure how that happened. But, um, all right. Thank you, Eddie. You're welcome. And just go get those moles checked out lunch. Well, thanks for looking out for my help. No problem. See, that's what we do on this show?
Starting point is 00:28:32 All right, what's the haves? Hey, what's the hatch? Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. So I have to go to my therapist today who I haven't seen in three weeks. Oh, yeah. And let her know what's happening. Well, for those that are new to the show, I am 39 years old. I have never been married.
Starting point is 00:28:50 I've never been engaged. I have no kids. I've really been focused. It's been a little time on me. I've been super work focused and I have, you know, I have trust issues because of a lot of the way that I grew up. Now, that's not for today, but just know that it's something that sits constantly. So because of my inability to be completely vulnerable in relationships, I have been going to a counselor or therapist that specializes in couples and love, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Because I don't go on with anybody else. I go on by myself. She doesn't have anybody that does this. As a matter of fact, when I first started going to her, for both of us, it was like, well, let's see if this works. Because she doesn't see people by themselves. And I have never been to a therapist that just specializes in strengthening relationships. And mine was with no one.
Starting point is 00:29:41 There's an invisible person. But we have been slowly building to the point where I can be open to having a relationship. I want to have a kid or nine and a family or two. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like, I want to have all of that. I do. And now for the first time I'm like, okay, I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:29:57 I'm ready to at least get started in the process. And so she's been gone for three weeks. And she's going to have her mind blown whenever I go today. And I'm like, well, I got a girlfriend. So, yeah, she. But how much did you tell her about? Well, the whole story was because even as I started dating the girl that I'm dating now, I was like, I don't know, like, yeah, I like her, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:22 And then I'd be like, well, you always spend more time. together. I like her a little more, but I don't know. And she told me, if you remember, I'm the Benjamin buttons of relationships. She goes, most people when they get into a relationship, they're like, this is a person for me. And they slowly start to walk backward. She's like, with you, you met somebody that's really cool. And you're like, I don't know. And then every time it was the opposite, you'd be like, oh, a little more, a little more, a little more. And so, but I haven't seen her. And there's been some developments in the past few weeks. Yeah, big ones. So I'm going to walk in today and she's going to be like, what do? What do you
Starting point is 00:30:49 I think she's going to do. I don't know. I don't know. I think it'll be good. I think any time I'm stretching myself, that's a win. Okay, given that she's a couple's therapist, do you think now she's going to invite your girlfriend to the session? Too early for that.
Starting point is 00:31:03 I think it's way, way, way, way too early for that. Well, we'll see what she has to say. That's right. We will see what she has to say. It may not be. All right, we have to remember that she doesn't live here. Right. My therapist does.
Starting point is 00:31:13 The girl I'm dating does not. So, um... Which, what is it you always used to say about long distance relationship? Who knows? Amy, I was an idiot back then. It's like last week. I'm growing a lot. Listen, I have grown a lot. No, what I do think, though, is that you can't just be living a long-distance relationship
Starting point is 00:31:35 without a plan of there being maturation points. And so if it does get to a point with us where it gets really serious, and by the way, we've just started dating and only going. we're only dating each other. That's a recent development. If that does happen, then you have to figure out a plan. Okay, well, we just can't date long distance forever. Right.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Like somebody's got to move somewhere. And you're not moving. And I am moving. crap. We already know how this is going. That's far down the road. But like, not that far. Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:32:08 It's way too far to think about right now. Okay. Yeah. So, but I do go to her today, my relationship. Okay, so update tomorrow. Yeah, I mean. Just to see what she says. Yeah. I mean, sure. If you want to edit tomorrow, I'll give you one.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Yeah. And I wonder now that you're in a relationship, because I mean, did she give you assignments or, yeah, we'll call it a homework assignment just, you know, for the sake of it. When you were going to her, like just to grow you and stretch you and challenge you and see how you would react. And so now in this relationship, do you think she's going to give you assignment? She mostly just tells me to challenge all of my thoughts that come to me initially. She's like, challenge that. If you don't challenge that, you're going to end up right where you've always been a million times. So, and even in this dating process, she has been going, hey, you need to go and I know you think you probably don't need to do this with her. Not about her, even way before her.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Like you need to go on dates. You need to go every time you're like, I'm sure it's not going to work. You need to go and do it again. So she just is like constantly challenging everything I do, which is great because if I keep doing the same thing I'm always doing, I'm in the same place I've always been. which I abide every part of my life I agree and I'm following that philosophy except in relationships
Starting point is 00:33:22 haven't been but anyway there you go I get so many messages I haven't posted her on Instagram or Twitter yet just TikTok just one TikTok video and you know we didn't even shoot that to be like here's an
Starting point is 00:33:36 there's no announcement but yeah there you go anything you'd like to know you can have one question right now about the therapist or Whatever you want. Whatever you want. When's the next time you see her?
Starting point is 00:33:50 In like a week, a few days. I thought it's going to be like tomorrow. She's going to Hawaii. No, no, no, no. But she lives in California. Right. And I'm in California a lot for work. So this is like the longest we will not have seen each other, which is like 11 days or something.
Starting point is 00:34:08 And then I'm there every week until June. Are you all FaceTiming every day? Yeah. Pretty much. Does she hit you up or like is it, does she still wait for you? Or what's that been like? There's no way to. There's none of that is.
Starting point is 00:34:21 We're past that. Yeah, it's just like, we don't even text to go. Do you want to FaceTime? It'll just be like, br-hmm. Yeah. So that's good. Yeah. But I had to be quiet about it for a long time because I never want to put something out there
Starting point is 00:34:31 and then it kind of fall apart. And it also, it feels weird putting it out there at any point anyway because I haven't done that. Years. Yeah, it's been a while. Years. Because it'll just jump into stuff. How does she feel about it? Which part?
Starting point is 00:34:42 Like being. she's not while being a public it's not public yet but she will be and she's not necessarily that so we had a conversation where she is not super pumped about having all of her stuff
Starting point is 00:35:00 put public and I'm like great you don't have to you know right no she doesn't yeah I mean she it's weird to have to because there's just a lot of criticism that comes with being a public person that she didn't sign up for and so yeah that's it she was like can i leave my instagram i was like of course yes yeah oh which
Starting point is 00:35:20 i should probably start following her on instagram can she accept me please i don't know her account though but i mean if she's private then i'm gonna have to send it and you're gonna have to be like that's amy except her oh that's true yeah um i feel like that'll be my wave anything else did you want to know for right now because you i guess you haven't met her just on face time yeah i know eddie spent a couple days with her i just got the face time announcement what wasn't really announcement It was cute. It was cute. We were just in the car. They FaceTime me to tell me they made it official.
Starting point is 00:35:47 We did it. Oh, that's cute. No, we did it. Yes, you did. No, it was very cute. We did it. No, no, this is what happened. I was right next to Amy's house.
Starting point is 00:35:57 They were going to make the announcement face-to-face. That's not true. It's not true. I was right next to Amy's house. And if I'm near Amy's house, I always message her. I'm like, hey, can I come over? And it was like 8 o'clock. So it was borderline late, but it wasn't work day the next day.
Starting point is 00:36:11 And so she wasn't at home. She was in New York. And so, and when she answered it, the room was completely black and I was like, great, Amy's asleep. I was asleep. Yeah. And so that was it. Where did you meet your girl? We have a lot of these questions.
Starting point is 00:36:24 People are asking questions. Yeah, we can do a whole segment about that at some point soon. Okay. The only, the only problem that we have is that she is from Oklahoma and she's an OU fan, like, like, hardcore, and I'm an Arkansas Razorback fan. And we were talking about going to football games next year. And it was like, hmm, I'm not going, you know, I'm trying to. go to Arkansas games. It's a big break. And I mean, what if you're governor of Arkansas?
Starting point is 00:36:52 That's true. We've already had that conversation. I was like, you think this is public. Wait until the governor of Arkansas. Okay, well, there's that. A lot of people are saying, where did you meet her? Okay, I'll give you this one. Just say that now. Yeah. So her friend does PR at ABC. and so when I went for the premiere of Dancing with Stars, she was there with her friend doing her friend a favor, like filling a seat. And so I met her after the show. We didn't talk for a month,
Starting point is 00:37:21 a month and a half or so. And then as I was going back out, I reached out on Instagram, and then we went and went and had a salad one night. And that was it. And then she went back with me to the Dancing with the Stars finale, which you will, on TV you saw her sitting.
Starting point is 00:37:38 with me. Oh. And that was her. But we met like humans, like real human, which is weird for me because I don't just randomly meet people. But her friend worked with me the year before on Dancing with the Stars when I was on it. So I knew her friend from doing PR for me, ABC. And then she was with her friend that night. And I was like, hey, what up, friend? She was like, hey, what up? This is my friend. And then we, that's how we got together. That's it. Just gave a lot right there. Yeah. We done. We done. Thank you. We can do more later this week. All right. Everybody can ask question. Many buildings around the U.S. paid tribute to Kobe Bryant with purple and gold lights on the outside. In other news, the travel warning has been raised
Starting point is 00:41:03 over fears of the coronavirus, urging people, not to travel to China. There's currently five cases in the U.S. And finally, NFL Twitter accounts were hacked by a Saudi hacker group. Up to 15 NFL teams' accounts were affected. On a phone, Lacey and Austin. Lacey, how are you? Good morning.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I'm good. How are you? I'm pretty good. Thank you for waking up. Thanks for listening to the show. Thank you're welcome. I listened since 2003, listen to Austin since then.
Starting point is 00:41:33 So ever since y'all wrong because FM and Austin, I've been listening. I'm an OG fan. 2003, 2003. 2003, OG. That's what were you? That's great, yeah. I didn't even meet you till 2005. I remember y'all holding the interviews to fill a replacement for Jill.
Starting point is 00:41:48 I think it like Barton Creek Mall or something. And Jill, for those that don't know the history of the Bobby Bone show, and most don't. When I first started doing mornings, they gave me no money. And they said, you go on. We are a failing radio station, and we will not pay you. And so I went on. And the only person that would come on with me was for free, an intern. And so I brought her on.
Starting point is 00:42:12 And that's where we kind of started to build. And then Jill was like, you know what? And Amy was a fan of Jill way back in the day. Oh, she was my favorite. And Jill was like, I want to go have kids and move to South Texas. The show was nothing. We were just a small show. We had no success.
Starting point is 00:42:25 And then she jumped out. And then, dun-da-da-da-da. Here she comes. There she comes. Strund down the cat wall. Amy, Amy, Amy, Bobamey. Okay. Lacey, are you ready?
Starting point is 00:42:38 I'm ready. You're going to get two categories here. You have science or the Bobby Bone Show. Oh, she's going to pick the Bi-Bone Show because she's been with this since 2003. Right. Right. But I don't know for sure. You have two categories, science or the Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Let's go, Bobby Bone Show. Okay. Now, she's going to nail this, and I'm going to have to give her $100 of my own money. I can already tell. I hope. But you should, her being a loyal listener for that long? Don't put pressure on me. Don't make me be the bad guy.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Oh. Okay, here we go. Are you ready? You have 60 seconds. I'm ready. 10 questions. You get them all right. You went 100 bucks of my money.
Starting point is 00:43:11 60 second showdown begins at the end of the first question. Question number one. What's the name of my hometown? Mountain Time. Correct. Whose winning song is Juice by Lizzo? Amy? Correct.
Starting point is 00:43:27 What's my newest tattoo of? The mirror ball. Incorrect. Who on the show has voted prom king in high school? Lunchbox. Correct. What country did I go to on my episode of Running Wild with Bear Grills? Pass. What country artist was the first guest ever on this show in 2013?

Starting point is 00:44:16 That's hero. Correct. time is up though She did not get my newest tattoo Which is A microphone I said when I got in the Radio Hall of Fame I would get it
Starting point is 00:44:26 And it took me a while but I did What country did I go to on running wild With Bear Girls? Norway Right The first country artist on our show In 2013 was Chris Jansen Okay
Starting point is 00:44:36 The newest member of the show is Scuba Steve We heard from earlier What month is Ramundo getting married in October? October It was tough because there's a lot of new stuff on there Yeah Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:48 Yeah. He didn't win. I didn't even know the wedding date. October 24th. Okay, I'll write that down. I don't know. Yeah. Well, Lacey, let me say this.
Starting point is 00:44:56 I'm not going to let Amy guilt me in and giving you money if you didn't win. That's like a participation ribbon. I don't believe in those. But I appreciate you. I'm glad you got through. I'm glad we could talk to you. Absolutely. I love you guys.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Keep doing what we're doing. Thank you very much. Have a great morning. And there she is. Our favorite Lacey. Don, dun, dun, don't. Bobby bones. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:16 On a phone is David in Florida. David, what's up? Hey, how's it going? Your morning studio. Morning. I was wondering, have you started working on your new book? My new book? My new book.
Starting point is 00:45:30 My new book. Yeah. Yeah, I'm just going to just say that. You didn't say anything. I think he said is there a working title. I don't know if he did. Can you say if it's fiction or nonfiction? I'm not going to say anything yet.
Starting point is 00:45:48 I get asked that a lot. Luckily, I'm very grateful. I've had two books that have been New York Times bestsellers, and I'm just not going to rush another project out. But yeah. Isn't that crazy? I forget that you have New York Times bestsellers sometimes. I mean, I know you're not.
Starting point is 00:46:02 I know you do a lot. But sometimes I'm like, oh my gosh, Bobby, in the last few years, has written a couple books. No big deal. New York Times bestsellers. Yeah, I forget to. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Because I don't, I'm not that guy who's like smarter cool like that. Like, book, like, But yeah, it's cool. It's a thing. It's very much. So, yeah, hopefully in the next 30 days I can reveal what's going on. Okay. So I'll leave it there.
Starting point is 00:46:24 But David, I appreciate you calling about that. Awesome. I appreciate it. Yeah, I was actually at the last book release. That was pretty awesome experience being able to be part of that. Oh, yeah. What city did you come to for the book release? It was in New York.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Oh, was it the stage thing when I was in New York? Yeah, it was at the Art Studio. Oh, yeah, that was cool. A girl from Rolling Stone came out in interview. That's cool. I remember... That was pretty awesome. Were you with that?
Starting point is 00:46:48 Mm-mm. Okay. David, have a great day. Appreciate the call, bud. You do, have a good day. All right, see you later. Super Bowl coming up on Sunday. We'll talk about this for a second.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Eddie has a family wager going on, which is fun, right? Yeah. Eddie loves gambling. Correct. So now he's getting his kids involved. Mm-hmm. Starting him young. Well, I was thinking, how cool, like, my kids now know the fun and gambling on a big football game.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Eddie gambles, I say too much because he's always talking about money and he took forever to get out of debt. Hey, let me ask you a question about debt, because all listeners ask this too. Sure. Because you say you're out of debt. Have you paid your house off? No, no, no. Mortgage not included.
Starting point is 00:47:23 Okay, because that's good debt. My car not included. Okay. Because some listeners are like, how does Eddie pay his house and car off? How did he do that in a year? No, no, it was all credit card because, I mean, since, I don't know, 10, 15 years I've been in credit card debt. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:35 So you gamble a lot? Yeah. I love to gamble $30 a month. So don't make it sound like I'm a degenerate who, like, spends my whole mortgage on gambling. $30 a month is my gambling. And so now the kids ask me like, all right, how much are we going to win on this game, Dad? So for the Super Bowl, they're like, we have an idea, Dad. They all got together and they want to bond with their dad.
Starting point is 00:47:54 And how better? Gamble. Yeah, exactly. They think that the 49ers are going to win. My wife and I think that the Chiefs are going to win. So if the 49ers win, the kids can watch TV or play on any electronic device whenever they want for a whole week. That's if their team wins. Yeah, big prize. That's a big win for them.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Yeah, they came up with this too. But if the Chiefs win, they have to do the dishes every day for one week. Okay, so Eddie has four kids, two of his own and two foster children. Correct. But only one of the foster kids is big enough to actually do a dish. Yes, so three of my kids out of the four will be able to do the dishes. To be on tablets anytime they want, it's a great win for them. Yeah, and they have Nintendo Switch.
Starting point is 00:48:40 They have iPads and TV, obviously. I couldn't be pulling for it. for the chiefs harder except for this bet now. Like now, there's a fun reason that if the chiefs do lose, that Eddie's kids get to play all they want. Yeah. You imagine their minds are going to be trash if the 49ers win. For a whole week, there's going to be like brain dead.
Starting point is 00:48:58 And what did your wife say about this? No, she said great. I love it. So you know literally can't say anything like it's time. Okay, it's time to put the tablet down. There's no restrictions. No restrictions. What about when it's bedtime?
Starting point is 00:49:08 Yeah. Well, they have to go to bed at 8.30. Oh, well, now you're, that's a rule. Okay. That's already a rule of place. until midnight. Well, I mean, the rule says, it's okay, so bedtime's the same. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:18 But any time from wake up to bed that they're at home, they can be on their electronics. Correct. Not school. School's not included when they're home. Okay. And how long do they usually get to be on it? Oh, they have like an hour, two hours tops. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:29 And we're pretty strict on it too. But this time, they can be on all they want. Hey, whatever goes. Yes. So like Monday to Monday. Including the weekend. All right. Go chiefs, but also, hey, 49ers.
Starting point is 00:49:39 It's pretty cool. It's pretty funny. I'm proud of my kids. That's pretty. What do you mean you're proud of them? That they came up with a fun game. I like it too. That's smart.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Smart kids. Yeah. It's like they're trying to gamble away all their money. They're like, hey, we get this. And if not, we'll do wash dishes. And for the first time ever, I think they're going to watch the entire football game because they have interest in it now. True.
Starting point is 00:49:59 That's also smart. What's the spread right now? I think it's one. She's her favorite. Basically a pick-em then. Mm-hmm. So there really is a one. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Morgan number two's 30-second skinny. Lauren Elena will be releasing a six-song EP named after her latest single, Getting Good. She says she's working on our third album, but it's not finished quite yet. This EP will be out on March 6th. Justin Moore spends most of his time off the road cleaning up after his kids.
Starting point is 00:50:29 I just clean all the time. I mean, I might as well be wearing a maid outfit or a butler outfit because I feel like I'm cleaning or cooking all the time. And with four of them, you pretty much just had to walk around right after them, Right behind them, picking up trails of stuff. Brantley Gilbert is teaming up with Farmer Veteran Coalition to use local food for catering at his stops on tour. And then all of the food that is not used will be given to help those in need through the organization, musically fed. I'm Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:50:58 That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. Okay, this is awesome. There's a beagle named Harley. And he works at a hospital in North Carolina. he goes room to room sniffing out a bacteria that is harmful to patients.
Starting point is 00:51:15 And he's the only dog in the U.S. that can sniff this out. And he, people love seeing him around the hospital. But, I mean, when he's there, he's all business. He's got work to do. When he comes in your room, hey, Harley, you're so cute. But he's sniffing around. And he's detected it. And then workers, as soon as he's, you know, senses that it's there,
Starting point is 00:51:31 they're able to clean it up quickly with a, like, bleach solution. And they're good to go. Wow. Mm-hmm. I've also heard a cat who can sense diseases. and people. Yeah, like cancer. And I would hear about this one cat. You just wouldn't want to show up to your door. Wow. Crazy. And sometimes the cat would show up and they would be able to find it quickly.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Yeah. But it's wild that dogs and cats can. Beagles make sense. Beagle's a great hunted dog because they can sniff. I know, but I'm like, we need more of these. What does this dog? Harley the Beagle. Harley the Beagle are cool. They don't do much. It's like my dog. I got my dog because they're supposed to do much. All he does is terrorize me. That's what it's all about with Harley the Beagle right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobbi Bones Show. Bonehead. This story comes us from North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:52:17 A man that works at KFC went to pick up his paycheck. He looked at it and he was like, wait a minute, I worked 40 hours. There's not enough money on here. Well, he didn't realize that they take out taxes, so he got mad, got in his car, and drove his vehicle right into the drive-thru wall. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:52:31 Do you have his name? No, it doesn't say his name. Well, let's just call him Chuck. I feel you, Chuck. I feel you. Right, but it's his first job. I know, but I know that feeling. When I started to get a real check,
Starting point is 00:52:43 I want to drive my car through every place I work. Yeah. I feel you, Chuck. Yeah, it stinks. That's not what you're supposed to do, though. And you know what? I had done a lot of jobs where I just went out and made money. Like hustle work.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Okay. Like yards. And you just got cash. Or building seawalls and you just get cash. But then when I started to work at the golf course or I started the bus tables, I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what's this a fika? Why are you taking my money? or whatever you call.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Yeah, whatever it is. I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. All right. There you go. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Come on, Bobby. So I've told this story before on the year where as soon as I moved into the house I live in now, and I've been there for over a year, I'm backing out of the driveway, and somebody stops me and goes, hey, do you live here? And it's my second day ever living there. And I was like, yeah. It's like, what do? And it was just giving me the what for?
Starting point is 00:53:47 And I thought it was weird And she was like, do you have any kids? And I was like, I don't have any kids. You married? I'm not married. What do you do for living? And I didn't want to say exactly. Oddly, I kind of like my privacy a little bit.
Starting point is 00:54:00 And I just said, I'm an artist. I feel like I was telling the truth. I write books. I do shows radio. She was like, oh. So, and it was, it felt very weird. And that was it. And went about my life.
Starting point is 00:54:11 I haven't seen her since. Well, I got a letter. And I go and I open this letter and there's no stamp on it. So someone had to drop it in my mailbox. And I take it in the house and open up. And it was my neighbor from across the street who a year and two months later,
Starting point is 00:54:25 however long I've lived there, wrote this whole letter because she still didn't know it was me living across the street. But she's watching Bear Grills and sees my episode of running wild with Bear Grills. And was like, that's our neighbor. And then puts it all together. And then goes, I wasn't that.
Starting point is 00:54:45 The letter said, After hearing your story, I realized I shouldn't have been so judgmental about your tattoos. And I was like, I didn't even know I was being judged by my tattoos. Bad boy. I know. She thought I was doing over there in the house. But it was like two pages and she said she didn't want me to feel like that she was some like real house wife that was living across the street, not being the best neighbor. And that watching me on Bear Girls and seeing the story but how I grew up really inspired her to write that letter and apologize.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Oh, wow. Which I thought was crazy. Have you responded? Nah, no. This is your response. Right now. Here's my response. It's a very public response.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Yeah, that's nice of her. I appreciate you taking the time to write that letter. Yeah. Because I know how hard it is to go, I did not do my best in that first impression. I've done it many times. And that wasn't a good first start for us. It wasn't a good start for us. But now, she thought, too, that I would never come outside because she lived across the street
Starting point is 00:55:44 and I didn't want to have an awkward interaction. Here's the reason I just don't go outside When I'm home I'm in the walls Don't get to be home all the time But when I am I don't go outside Maybe the backyard a little bit with a dog
Starting point is 00:55:56 Yeah But sure of this whole Very nice handwriting Nice letter But she doesn't listen to the radio show But she put it all together Because she was like That looks like our neighbor
Starting point is 00:56:07 Yeah And that's cool You taught her a lesson too Not to judge someone But I didn't teach her anything I didn't teach her anything She just probably felt herself That your first encounter
Starting point is 00:56:15 was a little awkward and maybe she was a little like, huh, what? Like single guy lives in this house. He's like, what's up with you? Tattoos. By the way, my tattoos, what do you mean? I barely have tattoos.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Sue and their letters. I have my grandma and my mom, their initials on the top part of the inside of my forearm. On the backside, I have the state of Arkansas. And at the time, that was probably it. Yeah, right? Now I have a small word mirror ball
Starting point is 00:56:39 in the back from when he dancing with the stars and then a microphone on the bottom. I don't think I had those. Amy, am I seen this tattoo guy? Be honest. No. No. You're not. I was hoping I learned something. But maybe you're the first neighbor she's had with tattoos. So she's like, what's up?
Starting point is 00:56:52 Maybe so. And then she was just like, wait, because you do live in a neighborhood where it's families and stuff. It's a fru-frou neighborhood for sure. It's a safe neighborhood. I would say that. But she hit me with that letter. Look at that. I appreciate that. I learned something from that too. Yeah, you did. It's okay to go even a year ago. Oh, I was wrong about that. My bad. so I feel like now if she just sent me some bread and strawberries we'd be completely even
Starting point is 00:57:17 how are you feeling about that didn't one of your neighbors already do that yeah it's good they know it's good too my neighbor to the right I don't know any of my neighbors don't know right don't know left don't know ahead of me I do know a couple I do know some that live down the road a few there's an artist that lives down the road a few other than that I don't know anybody else and I'm okay with that because I'm so public with my life every I'm okay with at home being isolated unless something goes wrong then I'm kind of I don't know who to go to you. Unless you need a neighbor.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Yeah, unless I need a neighbor. Starting point is 01:00:35 APUS. It's dot E-DU-S-Military. On the Bobby Bones show now. Chase Rice. There is, Chase. What's up, dude? What's up, man? How you been?
Starting point is 01:00:49 Dude, I've been great. I'm in Amsterdam right now, so I can't complain. Okay, that probably says what's up with that really small delay. It's a European delay. Yeah. Yeah, look at this. Hey, appreciate... Oh, you got a delay on there?
Starting point is 01:01:00 It's just most of the time when our callers call us from Europe, there's this little bit of delay. but now that we know that, we'll let it breathe. Okay, cool. Chase Rice is on. Hey, by the way, you dropped a new record, didn't tell anybody it was coming. How did you keep that secret? I didn't talk about it much, man.
Starting point is 01:01:20 It's the first time I've ever done that, and I did it because I thought of this record is a completely different thing than I've ever done before. Before I've always been secretive. I don't want to post anything about songs before they're on there. This one I posted Best Night Ever.
Starting point is 01:01:35 I posted in the car. I posted almost all the songs on my socials, like, just from, you know, talking about them as it being written and stuff like that. So it wasn't a secret anymore, so it was like, you know what, I'll stop talking about it, let's just drop you out. So you put it out, and then I read that, and you can tell me if this is right or not, or how true it is, that this entire record is about one girl that you dated for a little bit and you wrote all these after the breakup. Is that true? Yeah, for the most part. It's, yeah, I dated her the last about a year and a half, two years on and off. We had a couple of years. a couple spots in there. But yeah, she was the real deal, man.
Starting point is 01:02:10 It was a real relationship. We had a great, great friendship. We had a great relationship, period. And when that happens, that's why you hear a song like everywhere. It's the truth, man. You see her everywhere when that happens. I mean, we used to, I took her to her first Red Sox game, you know? So now I had to walk by somebody here in Amsterdam, and it's like,
Starting point is 01:02:29 I see a Red Sox hat I think of her. So, you know, that's just part of life. But that's the greatest part about what I get to do is I get to write songs about it. Oh, are you still? like a little burnt by it? I thought maybe you just wrote it. It was a thing and you're over. Are you still like a little bit onto it? Not burnt by it, but she was a great girl. So it just wasn't the right time for us right now. She's got a lot going on her life.
Starting point is 01:02:52 We couldn't even see each other, first of all. We're just supposed to be busy with my tour and everything like that too. I wouldn't say burn about it, no. But I would say, yeah, I missed her from time to I'm still for sure. She was a great one. Would you get back with her right now if she called you and said, Chase, let's get back together. No, no, because even in times when you get lonely and stuff like that, you start thinking that. I'll be honest, I'll question it.
Starting point is 01:03:19 But, no, the situation hasn't changed. We still never see each other, so what's the point? Well, the point is love. Okay, okay. Chase Rice is on. You were on The Bachelor last night, and there's a whole storyline about you now, because apparently you dated one of the contestants, but not the same girl. as the girl you wrote the record about, right?
Starting point is 01:03:39 No, no, not at all. Yeah, I mean, I know her from Charlotte, hung with her in Charlotte, and that was it. You know, she went to the show, and it was interesting, man. I really, truthfully didn't think that it involved me like that. I don't think it's ever happened before this happened. So I didn't think in my mind, there's no way they're going to do that.
Starting point is 01:04:01 Surely it happened. I don't know if they did it on purpose or just coincidence. I don't really know, but, you know, this is what it is. I tried to make the best of it. You know, I was upset at first. Like, what in the world was that about? But in the day, if it takes people to my music, takes people with the album, lonely if you are, it's like, I'm not going to complain about that.
Starting point is 01:04:21 So I'm not mad at anybody. I'm pretty happy with it. Yeah, I can agree with that. Chase is on. Lonely If You Are is out now. And I was looking at some of the writers on some of these tracks. the American Night's song Kevin Griffin, one of the writers
Starting point is 01:04:37 from Better Than Ezler, one of my buds here. That's a pretty cool song and I love that dude. Unbelievable. And Martin Johnson's the reason that song happened. We were down in Florida celebrating part of the Eyes on You Celebration thing we did. And we're, you know,
Starting point is 01:04:54 we've been drinking a little bit of me and my manager and he plays that song. And I was like, my God, it's a night game song. It's a cover song. And then Martin and I got, together, talked about it some more. He was like, yeah, this could be a really cool version. He produced it.
Starting point is 01:05:09 And my God, it's one of the coolest songs I think I've ever put out. All right, Chase Rice, on with us. He's going to be playing our IHeart Country Festival. Tickets go on sell next Friday. But we're going to play the new song right now. He performed it on the show. We're going to do Lonely If You Are Now. By the way, before we play it, how weird was it to play that song as a...
Starting point is 01:05:29 You know, it's the whole vibe. Like, you knew the girl. They made the storyline about you. You're playing it with cameras all around you. Like, were you having to control your face? And, like, what is that whole vibe? Yeah, I mean, you've done TV, so, you know, it's automatically more pressure, no matter what. Because you've got to be better.
Starting point is 01:05:46 You got to, you know, people are actually zooming in on your face and stuff like that. But I was fine with it. We played that song so many times that, and then when she walked out, I just started laughing. I was just like, you gotta be kidding. And at the end of the day, I was like, Yeah, it just surprised me. It was funny to me at first. But you go into the zone of actually having to play the song and sing it.
Starting point is 01:06:12 We've done it a thousand times, so it was all good. Chase, good to talk to you. Have a safe trip back, man. Watch that coronavirus. It's everywhere. Yeah, I'm going to try to avoid that one. But, dude, good talking to you too, man. All right, there he is.
Starting point is 01:06:22 Chase Rice. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So do you ever pay attention to notes on bathroom walls? No, no. I mean, I guess I'll laugh. I don't usually go into bathrooms where things can be written on the bathroom. Like a stall? Like a bathroom?
Starting point is 01:06:37 I'm not going to go sit on a toilet in the gas station. Okay. Well, so like my church meets in a high school. And so I notice when I use the bathroom that there's stuff written on the stalls and walls. And so this story kind of just stuck out to me because there was an anonymous note on a bathroom wall at a school. And it said, is life worth all the BS? And a teacher saw it. And then went back to class and encouraged all of their students.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Like if you use that bathroom, if you see that stall, stick a Post-it note up there on why you think life is worth it. And like words of encouragement. And it's like spreading. And like people are doing it. And kids started doing this school. And now it's hitting social media. And people are not like writing an permanent marker to respond to certain notes. But they're taking Post-it notes and responding to any notes they see in a bathroom stall.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Because someone that steps in their necks might need to see that. Usually if I see anything, it's like for a good time, call Hank. Yeah, that's the common one. And the drawing, this is a pretty common drawing, too, but we don't talk about that drawing. Some of artistic people like to draw on there. Well, I just thought this is, like, good for this teacher for seeing an opportunity to spread something positive amongst young people. Because probably high school stalls is where you see a lot of this, or junior high stalls. And this is a time where you can respond with positive messages all over.
Starting point is 01:07:52 Right. I like that. What else? So there's a bill in the Vermont House of Representatives right now that would let people use blank on their license plates. I saw this. Oh, okay. So you know it's emojis? It is emojis. Oh, cool. Here's my thing. If they're admissible in court
Starting point is 01:08:07 as a text and a message, but will they not allow the egg plant? It's my question. Will they ban the middle finger one? Then you get into the whole discussion of which emojis are good and bad. Yeah, they'd be the first U.S. state to allow them if the bill passes. You could probably mix a bunch of them like the eggplant.
Starting point is 01:08:26 Yeah, you can use number. Like someone put an example here. It'd be like, J3K. Laughing face, Red Heart Woman. Yeah. A bunch of different variations. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know where you're going.
Starting point is 01:08:35 All right, what else? Okay, Bobby, what are you doing for the Super Bowl? What's the deal? Well, here's the deal. Are you having a party? No, because why are you rolling your eyes? Well, I don't know. I guess you're like to hear my story before you judge me.
Starting point is 01:08:49 Judge not, yes, ye be judged. Okay, what is it? What's your story? It's going to take me 13 hours to fly back for American Idol. I don't leave. I don't leave until Saturday night at 8 p.m. Oh, yeah. So I'm not flying back.
Starting point is 01:09:03 I don't get back until Sunday. And the Super Bowl's at night. Middle of the day. I'm going to be pretty tired. Well, the number one thing people look forward to when it comes to the Super Bowl isn't actually the game. It's got to be the food. It's a food. The game isn't even second.
Starting point is 01:09:18 Do you know what second is? Commercials? The social part. The hanging out with people. So it goes food, then the social reasons. and then the game itself. And I saw when it comes to food, the number one thing that everyone always wants
Starting point is 01:09:35 is like chips and dip. So I would focus on that. I'm not going to have a party. Why? Well, we can handle that. As I've shared, I've put on a few pounds. And I'm staying away from the food. That's when food is affecting your life.
Starting point is 01:09:47 No, it's not. You can't, you know, socially. It's not food. It's other things. Like, I keep myself away from things that I don't need. Oh, you don't need friends. the social and hanging out.
Starting point is 01:10:01 I'm pretty good. Okay. You're all right with that? Yeah, I'm pretty good on that. What else? That's it. It's just some Super Bowl stuff. I guess the number one drink isn't beer,
Starting point is 01:10:12 and I was shocked by that. Oh, is it now White Claw? No, it's actually soda, then beer, then iced tea, then wine, and then last whiskey. Those are the top drinks. So if you're hosting, just make sure you've got stocked with that stuff. If we're going hard on Super Bowl Sunday night?
Starting point is 01:10:26 That's why everybody went off work on Monday. A bunch of manly lawyers sitting around with their whiskey. I know. What's the shot that tastes like licorice? Yeager. Yeah, and number six, Yeager bombs. What's wrong with people?
Starting point is 01:10:41 If I got a thought of that, the joke could be much funnier, but I don't know drinks. You had to ask which one that was. Guys, before I tell this joke, let me get a set up here. All right, Amy, is that it? Yeah, maybe that's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:10:55 With Bobby. A guy is being praised for his kindness after he bought an expensive stolen bike just so he could return it to its original owner. The 26-year-old man had just gotten back to his house from the gym where he was approached by three men saying, hey man, you want to buy a bike? Which, by the way, is pretty shady. He was immediately suspicious since they were trying to sell the $1,700 bike for way less than it was worth. I probably bought it too.
Starting point is 01:11:28 Not only that, he noticed there was a bike lock still attached to the rear width. Every part of this is shady. After he bought the bike, he posted a photo up to social media in hopes of tracking down the original owner. He figured it was stolen, and he also figured it was taken away from a nearby home. He put, anyone have their bike stolen, just bought this for 104 bucks. It's got a bike lock on it, but I'd like to get it back to the right owner. 11,000 retweets, a woman contacted him. She said she had saved up to buy this bike, and she was so appreciative.
Starting point is 01:11:57 But yeah. And then they tried to reimburse him to 104 bucks, but he's like, I didn't feel right taking the money. But anyway, pretty good move. Yeah, that's. Paid his own money to get it back. That's what it's all about right there.
Starting point is 01:12:08 That was Tell Me Something Good. Here we go. Come on, Bobby. Very special week for us here because Dustin Lynch is handling the morning corny all week. All right, here we go. And now, the morning corny with country superstar Dustin Lynch.
Starting point is 01:12:35 What do you call a lazy doctor? What do you call a lazy doctor? Dr. Doolittle. There you go. That was the Morning Corny with country superstar Dustin Lynch. You know that music. If you can play it, I'm going to play it from the beginning.
Starting point is 01:12:56 And now, the Morning Corny. We were talking about this in the post show yesterday. There was a guy in Sioux Falls that's North Dakota, South Dakota, South Dakota. And every time someone would fall on the ice, he would start to play that song and then he got arrested. That's the Benny Hilton. Play that theme right. Every time somebody would fall,
Starting point is 01:13:15 he'd run up behind him with this and play it. That's funny. Awesome. It's really funny. He wasn't pushing them. No, he was just enjoying the fact. They were calling on their own. The headline, man arrested after blaring Benny Hill's song
Starting point is 01:13:27 near people slipping on ice. Shout out, Sue Falls. I just don't know how that's arrestable. Can we get this guy on the phone? Yeah, what's the offense? Yeah. I know Scoob and Steve can get anyone. one.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Yeah, let's the offense. Have him come over the microphone, please. Disrupt. It's in the public. I don't know. I think you're making up charges right now. Hey, Scooby Steve, this guy
Starting point is 01:13:50 was arrested because he was playing this song. Okay. Can you, let's see if you can track him down. All right, this will be difficult, but I think I can do it. I would love to talk to this guy. Okay, there is. If he's in jail, can we take the call from jail?
Starting point is 01:14:02 Yeah, I think he's out. I think he's out of jail. Okay, I don't think you stay in. But a Sioux Falls man was arrested after police found him berating people with loud music and laughter after they slipped and fell on icy spots in a local Walmart parking lot. I got to talk to this guy.
Starting point is 01:14:14 All right, I'll do what best for you. All right. Scoobo Steve is on the case. Let me say good morning to everyone. Good morning. Except this one guy, Charlie James Chapman, Jr., who was arrested when he was caught shining a laser at planes trying to land. Oh.
Starting point is 01:14:32 He's one of those laser pointers. He's trying to get him in the eyes. Yeah. So wrong that someone could die. Yeah. You kind of giggled when I told that story. You're still smiling about it. I'm not smiling.
Starting point is 01:14:43 No, I mean, my husband talks about this. Like, it's, I mean, it's just crazy to me that people actually sit up there and try to do that. I'm looking at this video here on CNN. And it's a big old green laser going right into the front of the airplane. I look like you were smiling about it. Oh, no, not at all. I thought the people falling on ice was funny. So it's okay if you think it's funny.
Starting point is 01:15:01 No, that's different. No, this is actually really serious. Certain lasers can damage pilot's eyes. I was recording a podcast last night. It'll go up later this week with Paul D.G. Avani, who was in Boys Like Girls, the band, has also written a bunch of songs. Like the ones that didn't make it back home,
Starting point is 01:15:17 we just played there. I was recording. And I was looking at the Bobbycast in some of the episodes we have up recently. And the one that I don't think has gotten enough traction because we did it after we left the show for Christmas was the one with Joe Diffy. I just want to remind everybody
Starting point is 01:15:32 that Joe Diffey came over to my house and there's a podcast. scroll back four or five episodes. I believe it was from December 16th. And we talk about Joe Diff in his career and his life. We'd know Joe Diffie from what? Well, where do I start? Holy cow. From prop me up the side the jukebox, I die, or John Deere Green on a hot summer night, he wrote Billy Bob, Love Charlene. Just so much in how he would open for George Strait. Garth Brooks open for him and I don't know what's happened in your life. I hope it's going good.
Starting point is 01:16:09 I know you got a lot of things that weigh on you, a lot of things that make you feel good. But there is a podcast with Joe Diffy. It falls on the side and make you feel good. And then I was just kind of scrolling through looking at the growth of the podcast, looking at the numbers for everybody's podcast we have here. And I saw that. I was like, man, we really didn't get to promote that one enough. So there is a Joe Diffy Bobbycast.
Starting point is 01:16:27 If you search Bobbycast on IHeart Radio or wherever you listen to your podcasts, That is a music podcast with a lot of your favorite writers and artists. And Joe Diffy, who's probably both. Wow. Thank you. Starting point is 01:19:44 in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak experts are divided over whether they can actually prevent transmission and infection of the airborne disease here's what I will say though if it stops anything it's a win the problem is because I like to wear a mask on an airplane is that it's hard to it's hot breathing in them You're like,
Starting point is 01:20:02 like Darth Vader. Yeah, and your face is hot. Here, I called this yesterday and you guys told me I was a nut. Uh-oh. I told you Corona would start to affect Corona beer. And I was like, and you're like, I don't think it affects it. I said in a boardroom somewhere, they're going,
Starting point is 01:20:19 oh boy, what do we do? If this gets worse, this is bad for the brand. Over the past week, there's been a huge increase in the number of people searching Google for whether coronavirus is connected to Corona beer. Oh my goodness. That is, yeah, that's unfortunate. Like, I guess I'm just, I'm not associating it to.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Well, because I'm an expert in it and I feed you guys the correct information. I know. Over the past week, the number of people searching for things like Corona beer virus has exploded. Oh, come on. If it's one percent less because of this, that's still a significant change. Oh, yeah, in sales. Coronavirus has nothing to do with beer. I was watching this morning, because I will find every news.
Starting point is 01:21:00 story about this. They think it's even earlier now than the animal market. They think that it started to be spread before they think it started to be spread. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How to prevent coronavirus. The UN advises people to one, frequently wash their hands. We should do that anyway. This is a good reminder. Wash your hands. Cover their mouth and nose with a flexed elbow, also called the vampire sneeze or Dracula sneeze. So if you lift your elbow and it's like, oh, ha, like this. Like your cape. Yeah, like your pulse. And you sneeze into that because it keeps that from going out into the air. And then it also keeps it from going on your hands and then you touch things with your hands. You don't necessarily touch things with the inner part of your elbow. Great point. Yeah. Avoid close
Starting point is 01:21:48 contact with anyone who has a fever or a cough. By the way, these are all things we should be doing about all viruses. Yeah. Seek early medical help if you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing. Avoid direct unprotected contact with live animals And surfaces in contact with live animals When visiting live markets and affected areas Listen, if you're not going to Wuhan, China I think you're okay on this one But just wash your hands a lot
Starting point is 01:22:12 And then avoid eating raw or undercooked animal products The guy in Austin who had the tape arm in his brain Yeah They say that maybe that came from pork that he got overseas somewhere Because his sister also had a tape arm too Yeah, he was like I got a headache and it won't go away. He had a tape arm in his brain.
Starting point is 01:22:31 No way. For who knows how long? Oh my gosh. Years probably. He was having migraines. It was having... Faining. And he was like, man, I just...
Starting point is 01:22:39 He had a tape arm in his brain. And they got it out. But any time you got to go under the brain... It was complex. Yeah. It's risky. The death toll from the Wuhan coronavirus has passed 100.
Starting point is 01:22:50 They're locking down millions and millions of people. Basically the whole country. I did see because they are, I believe, far ahead of... of us time zone-wise that they were sending some Americans out, maybe even now, like late at night, finally because we're Americans trapped in there. But even then they're going to have to quarantine them for a month. Yeah. Probably a little less than that, but just to make sure they don't have it. Where do we put those, where do we put them when Americans come back? Where do we quarantine?
Starting point is 01:23:10 We just leave them in the air. It's float up there. We make those plans to go and refill it with gas. I know. It's like, is there some island along the way that they hang out at for a little bit? Isn't that crazy? Yes. Let me go over and talk to Kyle in Virginia who's on the phone. Hey, Kyle, appreciate you calling the show. What's going on? Bobby. Morning, studio. Morning. Morning.
Starting point is 01:23:31 Hey, I just got a quick question for Eddie. Actually, too. Are you going to be making your kids do the dishes after, I think you said the 49ers were going to win? And then how much money are you going to be betting on this game? Okay, so let me reset real quick before you answer that. Yes, yeah. Early in the show, Eddie said he has a bet with his kids. If the 49ers win, his kids get to play video games for a week all they want.
Starting point is 01:23:53 All they want. If the Chiefs win, Your kids have to do dishes for a whole week. Every day. Every day. Okay. So, and the question was, Kyle, what was that question again? How, are you going to make your kids do the dishes right after the game?
Starting point is 01:24:08 Oh, like as soon as the game's over, right to it. Because, you know, everybody comes out, everybody's over, and they're all messy dishes. So I'd be, like, great relaxing. It's like, hey, kids, get ready. Stay lost. Let's go do dishes. Yeah. That's a good point.
Starting point is 01:24:22 Because when you bet money on a game, as soon as that game's over and you lose, you feel the hurt. Like, oh gosh, I was bad. So that's a good lesson to get them to do the dishes right after the game's over. Well, my, I guess me, if it were me, I'd make them wait until Monday. Same dishes will be there and you get another day added to the bet. Oh, wow. Didn't think about that.
Starting point is 01:24:42 Instead of just going straight Sunday night losing a day. Good point, bones. Don't lose the day. And the same dishes will be there the next day. But leave the mess. I saw Ray Mundo say that if your kids want to get on his betting site and they I saw that. If they're interested, dude, I know that you do it a lot.
Starting point is 01:24:57 It's something you guys could do together. It's farther than the Super Bowl. It's every day you can bet. He wants your kids to give him the referral code. So he can get like $25 or whatever. Oh, Eddie, did you say how much you're putting on the game? Oh, yeah. I didn't say, I mean, I only have about $70 left of the money that I got from Bobby's.
Starting point is 01:25:13 So maybe $50. If I can make it to Sunday, $50. I haven't had the itch to bet at all. None? I did one time. I bet on Arkansas basketball. I haven't bet in years. And I lost.
Starting point is 01:25:25 And I was like, all right, I don't... I'm shocked that you finally decided to bet again and they happen to lose. Because any time you bet you win, even like in Vegas, you put... That's not true. I bet and lost. Bobby's like, something on red or whatever that game is that spends around.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Rulet. Yeah, Bobby would be like 100 on Rulet. And then it's like, what are the odds? And he's like, double it. Oh my gosh, what are the odds? You win again. Like, you have the best luck. I mean, dealers are like, we haven't seen that in years.
Starting point is 01:25:53 It is kind of crazy. It is not crazy. Yeah, it is. This is what happens being someone who gambled a lot for a long time, okay? People that gamble only share their wins.
Starting point is 01:26:05 I witnessed it. You never share your losses, so it always seems like gamblers are winning. Yeah. It's true. It's like lottery stories. Same thing. Don't hit me with eyewitness it.
Starting point is 01:26:15 Okay, I just was always like, God, he has the best luck. You know what? I put myself in situations for good things to happen, generally, I quit. Arkansas lost basketball game. I'm done. So no Super Bowl bets for you?
Starting point is 01:26:27 Not unless I'm with somebody and it's like for me, some sort of recreation. Yeah. I don't need to bet to... I work too hard for my money. When I was broke, broke, I didn't feel that way. I was like, what I got to lose? I'm broke anyway. But at this point, I work so hard and try to make a lot of right decisions.
Starting point is 01:26:44 It's like, I work too hard for my money. So, all right. That's, yeah, I'm good on that. I'm late on this one, but many, many people have said, hey, you got to watch this show, cheer on Netflix, Amy, Lunchbox, I both watched it. And it just wasn't for me. I don't want to watch a cheerleading show.
Starting point is 01:27:04 And it was up in the corner of the screen. And I was like, how many times is Netflix going to tell me to watch it? But the girl I'm dating was like, it's the greatest show. And I was like, all right, I'll watch it with the antenna going. It wasn't for me. That way, I don't have to hear about it anymore. I think it's my favorite show ever. It's so good.
Starting point is 01:27:21 It's not good. Yeah, and I'm down the whole. to have like, I know Instagram, like following all of them. It's so good. And it's less like a reality show and more like a documentary. It's a little bit reality, a little bit. But it's so much
Starting point is 01:27:36 like a docu series. My favorite thing is because they are high level junior college cheerleaders. And what it's doing is watching them go from weeks out until Daytona, which is where they have their cheerleading championship. And you're kind of following. If they'll make it, who makes a squad? And again, not so much about cheerleading as it is following the characters involved,
Starting point is 01:27:57 but it's super high intensity, like tumbling and flipping. And so like a lot of my friends that were cheerleaders in like ninth grade are like, I totally relate. And they're putting pictures of them up in their cheerleading uniforms. It's like, guys, it's not the same thing. It's not like two bits, four bits, six bits a dollar, holler. It's not that. No, no.
Starting point is 01:28:15 It's like hardcore. It's hardcore. No, it's like athleticism at its finest. It is a great show. It's 94% positive and Rotten Tomato with the critics, 96, on audience score. And again, I didn't expect to like it.
Starting point is 01:28:31 And I was only watching it to say I didn't. And I watched one episode. And I was just going to watch one and tell everybody like, it's not for me. One and done. Yeah. But I watched one and I was like, oh, I got to see what happened in the second one.
Starting point is 01:28:39 After the second one I was in, it's only six episodes. They're an hour each. It's in Navarro, Texas. And so it's a course of Canada. It's in course of Canada. It's a Kansas. It's a course of Canada.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Yeah. But yeah, no, it's really good. I cried. I mean, once you're, you have to make it to Daytona. I cried on average, because I don't think I cried every episode, but on average, I cried once an episode. There were some episodes where I cried two times. And I don't want to do any spoilers whatsoever, because I didn't want anybody spoiling it
Starting point is 01:29:06 for me, but there are times where I was like, just completely moved. And Monica, the coach. Oh, my gosh. She's cool. She's awesome. Right? Like, I want her to come, like, school us right now. And she grew up in that small town.
Starting point is 01:29:19 Yes. She wasn't like someone. So I would encourage you to check it out. It's on Netflix. I did not want to like it. So I'm not sending it over to a show that I was like, I told you, I'm kind of late to it as far as I feel like I should be watching stuff early to recommend it to folks. But it's really good.
Starting point is 01:29:34 It's called Cheer. It's on Netflix. Oh, I think, yeah, you're still talking to a lot of people that haven't seen it. I mean, Amy and I sat and we were spilling the tea about it. We just were like, who's your favorite? Oh, yeah, what are they doing? Oh, we should want to be friends with Jerry. Who is?
Starting point is 01:29:46 My favorite was Morgan. Yeah, well, yeah. Who's cool. Because their backstories are what gets me because she, you know, she had family that left her, just left her. And she lived in a trailer by herself. Because she lived in a trailer by yourself. A camper. A camper, yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:01 But I was like, man, like I totally get that. It's good. A lot of them have great stories. Lederius. That's good. Yeah, they're all. Yeah. And it too helps you remember to look like I would look at a cheer team like that.
Starting point is 01:30:16 I'd be like, oh my gosh, look how super talented. and look at them and they're cheerleaders and they have all this. But everybody has something going on. You don't know where people have come from or what they're trying to overcome and because like each character, yeah, because cheerleaders seen as like the happy, the peppy, the woo,
Starting point is 01:30:32 I can do that. But there was, and cheerleading helped change their life. Like some of them were on the course of destruction and they were given some structure and something to be passionate about. Boom. I mean, just like any sport can do for people, but it was cool to see it happen.
Starting point is 01:30:48 with cheerleading. So don't think it's a show about cheerleading. It's much more than that. Cheerleading is part of it. Yeah. But it's about humans, their backstory, overcoming, working, and then, you know, my husband. Did you watch it Morgan? Yeah, I'm on the third episode right now. Are you obsessed with it? Yes, but I used to be a competitive cheerleader. So I, competitive. Oh, like, I was on three different competitive teams. I started cheering when I was like six years old. My mom started a competitive cheer team. Okay, so this is like you. Would you do flips and stuff? Yes. I have baskets, everything. I was like, when I was really young and in kindergarten, heard one of the teams that she helped run would like throw me in the air because I was so little
Starting point is 01:31:28 and I would do baskets and stuff when I was so young. Wow. Morgan's number two is like, cheer. Well, she's also like a really good athlete. Possibly the best athlete on the show. Pound for pound, maybe the best athlete on the show. Didn't you? She's a lot, she's five foot tall. Right. And I think if we're, fighting. I'm going to win because I'm bigger. But I think she's possibly the best athlete on the show. And that's tough for me to say, my pride. It's tough for me to hear her because I've always considered myself to be athletic, but I get no credit. I get no credit. And I was a cheerleader too. Amy, but you? One year, my senior year of high school. Yeah, but you were the raw, raw,
Starting point is 01:32:08 raw one. Oh, for sure. Like, I couldn't even do a Texas T. Did you think about going to college to do cheer? Oh, yeah. I, I cheered in high school. I mean, I did all. the steps of cheerleading. And I could probably still do some of my backflips and stuff if I really want to do. So it's the gymnastics part of cheerleading is this show. It's not the cheerle. Because you rarely see them go out and do cheers. In like the background, you'll see them do the, oh, okay. It's not that. And there's all the stunt guys. It's basically gymnastics. Yeah. That gymnastics part of cheer. With stunts, which stunts is where the stuff that gets really hard and tricky. Like, I probably had two or three concussions when I was cheerleading, like doing stunts and stuff.
Starting point is 01:32:46 That's wild. One of the girls gets like five concussions. Yeah. And in the NFL you get a few concussions. They're like, oh, you're done. Like, you're going to be messed up your whole life. Wow. I get so nervous, like, every time they would go into a new formation
Starting point is 01:32:59 and want to, like, lift and, like, build the pyramid. Like, I was always, like, gripping at the... I don't know. Who was your favorite character? Jerry. I love Jerry. I want to... I need to channel more Jerry in my life because he's just so positive.
Starting point is 01:33:13 And gosh, he has, like, he had a rough. Like, he lost... his mom and to lose your mom at such a young age and formative years and gosh you just still stayed so positive. Well, we'll leave it with that for now. But that show cheer is, to me, it was about way more than cheerleading because I don't, that's not my thing to get interested in. It's a really great docu series, a little bit of reality show, but mostly docu series.
Starting point is 01:33:36 What makes it a little bit of reality show is the camera watching them talk about stuff. Yeah. Other than that, it's pretty cool. After a series of violent incidents, a KFC in England. and installed a wire fence to separate the calendar from the rest of the dining room to make sure that people buying the chicken couldn't beat up the people serving the chicken. That's like one of those old bars where you have to put the fence up because people throwing beer bottles at it while they're playing.
Starting point is 01:34:00 The person's on stage playing, you know, an old cowboy song. Like a saloon. Yeah, they're calling it the roughest Kentucky fried chicken. While the barrier was installed for the safety of the employees, it received a mixed reaction from customers. Listen, just give me the chicken. I'm good. It's like you go to a gas station.
Starting point is 01:34:18 the glass things and you just slide your hands through. That's for them. That means knuckleheads are coming in and threatening them. Yeah. Give me good chicken. I'll be okay. I do love Kentucky Fried Chicken. Like their, this is not a commercial. Are they, they're on and off of sponsors? So this is not a commercial.
Starting point is 01:34:36 Their crispy chicken, a Kentucky Fried Chicken, is great. Really good. Still, great. I love the crispy. What's your favorite kind? Chicken? Yeah. Like, no, like, do you ever feel like Krispy or like... Original?
Starting point is 01:34:52 Yeah, yeah. From KFC or anywhere. From KFC? I don't know that I've ever really had it. What? I mean, I know. That's weird. And my dad, he worked in the restaurant business and he got into it.
Starting point is 01:35:03 Like, his very first restaurant job was working for KFC. Well, okay. So it's weird that I haven't had it. The Krispy is great there. At Popeye's, their chicken strips with the Marty Girl mustard. Oh, delicious. Oh, that's where it's at too. When I used to work at KLAZ, because I would drive in college an hour, I would finish school, and then every night I would drive to and from.
Starting point is 01:35:33 And so it would take me an hour to get there and I would go by. And I would think I was eating healthy because I was getting chicken strips because what's healthier than chicken? Yeah. And I would get chicken with the marty grow mustard and get a biscuit and that mashed potatoes and the gravy of Popeyes. The brown gravy of Popeyes had like a little, there's a little spice to it. Oh, come on. It's so good. Are people still freaking out over the Popeye's chicken sandwich?
Starting point is 01:35:52 Not as much. Because I still haven't had it. So if I go now, the line won't be. Yeah, you can probably just go up and order one now. That was good. Another, at Chick-fil-A, their nuggets are probably the best nuggets. Yes, because it's like a real piece of chicken nugget. It's this.
Starting point is 01:36:09 You know what it is? Delicioso. What's your favorite sauce? Do you use Chick-fil-A sauce? No, I do mustard every. I do mustard everything. Do you ever like churches? Churches fried chicken? I did. I did. There's always a little guilt after churches. Oh, of course. Especially because I would have it all with a strawberry fanta.
Starting point is 01:36:30 It was a lot. It was a lot. But I would go pound for pound. Here we go. This is my chicken list. The crispy from KFC straight chicken. The chicken strip from Popeyes with the Marty Girl mustard. This is almost like a draft. Okay. And then I would go for chicken, the chicken nugget, not McNugget, the chicken nugget from Chick-fil-A. And that is the perfect chicken. Oh, dang. I feel like some chicken. You guys can hit us up, questions, comments, 877-Bobby.
Starting point is 01:37:05 To answer your question, I mustard everything. I love mustard. Muster, mustard. I know, but I feel like you need to try Chick-fil-A sauce. You know, I don't know. There's a lot of stuff I haven't tried. I didn't try that until my adult life. Like people would always tell me about it.
Starting point is 01:37:20 I'm like, oh, I just love ketchup. Once I tried it, it's, you won't go back. You know what's weird? The girl that I'm dating doesn't eat any sort of condiment whatsoever. No condiments ever? No, doesn't do ketchup, doesn't do mustard, doesn't do mayonnaise. Like on anything? Nothing.
Starting point is 01:37:32 What if she's eating a french fry? Nope, nothing. Nothing. Dry. Mm-hmm. Yeah, which is a little weird. I'm a little weird. I know.
Starting point is 01:37:43 I thought about it. I was like, hmm, did I need to be with this? Should I? I know. Justin Bieber was listening to his new album. He was previewing it, and he's crying during his album release party. It said Justin could not hold back tears trying to explain the challenges he faced before recording these songs. A crippling depression halted his creativity.
Starting point is 01:38:03 Justin says that I don't even think I should be alive, never mind thrive. I like this. I told you I've heard some really wonderful things about him. From people that go to church with him. They're just like the nicest guy. like the nicest, sweetest guy. Whatever troubles he had back then where he was doing whatever is not that version of him that is now.
Starting point is 01:38:22 I don't know, Justin Bieber. I don't know that I've ever met Justin Bieber. But apparently he's so available at church that people just go up to him. It's amazing. And that nobody bothers him in the sense of, hey, let's get a picture because that's not the culture of the church he goes to.
Starting point is 01:38:38 Yeah, I hear real wonderful things about him. But they went to this event and he listened to his music and it was very emotional about what he had been through to get there. I like that. For some reason, I've been really drawn to Justin Bieber. And he also, he has this line called, like, Drew. Morgan number two, do you know his clothing line? Is it called Drew?
Starting point is 01:38:54 All the hoodies and stuff? It's called, yeah. I almost would buy one of those hoodies. I just don't want to look like I'm trying to be 22. Do it. They're really cool. You do you, bones? I know, I know, I know.
Starting point is 01:39:04 And I do do me a lot. Yeah, you do. Come on. I do, do, do you do me a lot. I like those. They're just like a smiley for the word. I don't even want what Drew means. You could.
Starting point is 01:39:11 Do you know what Drew means that Justin Bieber's clothes? The website is House of Drew Yeah, I don't know who Drew is But he does great with those Drew House is a community it says Oh yeah Yeah, I'm into it But he was crying
Starting point is 01:39:25 Last time you cried at something Oh Hard, like not sad, not sad Like moved I was not to say gosh Sports Center had some Kobe thing And I was like Oh yeah a couple of those Kobe things got me too
Starting point is 01:39:36 I was like I can't even It's so heartbreaking But that obviously is sad But something that Something that hit you in an emotional way that wasn't like pure sadness. Yeah. I'll go.
Starting point is 01:39:47 I'll give you something. Okay. Thank you. That cheer show, I cried once an episode about something or an average once an episode. That, there was, because there was a lot of really human things happening there. Yeah. I think the final episode I cried three times. When they would go home and show some of those kids and their stories.
Starting point is 01:40:03 I mean, they're adults. They're 21, 22 years old. But I would be like, oh, man. So I, probably that. And it wasn't a sad thing. It was more like an empathy cry. You? That's what, I mean, mine would be last Friday, Stashear and I kind of had my daughter.
Starting point is 01:40:18 We had a little incident where I got frustrated and I kind of, I yelled for sure. I yelled. And I'm not proud of it. But I saw her eyes just completely, like she was taken aback and her eyes filled with water. And I was like, oh my goodness, are you about to cry? And then she's like, no, no, I'm fine. And then we go over and we were out to eat like as a family and I see her in the corner and tears are streaming down her face. And I went to the bathroom and I cried because.
Starting point is 01:40:43 I caused that. Like I, I'm scared her, I think, and I made her cry. But we were getting out of the car and I was just frustrated and I yelled. And I had to ask for forgiveness. But, I mean, I cry because I felt like I made her cry. Do you ever ask your daughter for forgiveness and because she's 12? She just says no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:41:02 She says, she'll eventually say yes. She never says no. But we try to really lead by example on that because we want her to understand what that really means. I don't want her to say it. Like, oh, I forgive you no big deal. Like, I want her to really understand. So sometimes it takes time. She doesn't say it right away, but we'll go back to it later.
Starting point is 01:41:20 Eddie, do you ever get emotional with your foster kids? Does that ever think? You have two kids that are your biological and you have two foster sons. Yeah. You have four boys. I have four boys. My wife. My wife.
Starting point is 01:41:32 I never thought about like all the all boys. When she thinks about, she's like, this is crazy. Like, I'm surrounded by all boys. Do you ever get affected by them and their situation in your house? Oh, yeah. I've had a moment like that with, like, Amy said, you know, where like you're not proud of it, but at that point you feel like that's the only thing you can do to get whatever needs to have done in the house and you're just so frustrated.
Starting point is 01:41:54 And then it affects them a certain way. You're like, oh my gosh, like, why did I do that? Especially to someone like foster kids or adopted kids where you want them to feel safe and unconditionally loved. I don't know if your biological children may be like, oh, it's my dad. He's never going to leave me. It's what he does. It's never going to leave me.
Starting point is 01:42:11 But like, to her, I think she was in such shock of like, oh my gosh, did I just, that was, I mean, I was crazy. I mean, I don't know what was wrong with me. But I snapped. It happens. Yeah, it's for sure. For sure. By the way. Drew is Justin Bieber's middle name.
Starting point is 01:42:30 Oh, there you go. I got a text here that says, I'm an OG fan. I got you, Bobby. It's his middle name. By the way, if you hit us with the text and you get a message back that says you're unsubscribed, you're not unsubscribed. There is no subscription to our text. It's just some kind of glitch, right, Morgan number two? Yeah, if they use specific words like stop or end or things that may like prompt that,
Starting point is 01:42:51 then they'll get that message, but it doesn't mean they're unsubscribed. And there's not even a subscribe. No, there's not. Somebody grabbed me last week, a listener and was like, hey, I did not unsubscribe to your text, but help me get back in. And I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about. You can still text just like you could ever. I didn't know there was a subscription way.
Starting point is 01:43:08 But it's like if you hit one of those weird words, I sends it back. Yes, Amy. Okay, so also under the Drew website about us, it says Drew House is a place where you can be yourself, blah, blah, blah. I love being myself. Maybe I need to get a Drew hoodie. Wear like you don't care, come chill, K-bye.
Starting point is 01:43:26 I love all that. So yes, you need a Drew hoodie. And I like to go K-bye when I'm done. This is for me. And you like to go blah, blah, blah. How much are they? Oh, let's check on that. Shop.
Starting point is 01:43:38 Let me click on shop. How much? Oh, there's some that... Okay. So expensive but not like some of those crazy ones. Like, um... They range. You're like $1,100?
Starting point is 01:43:49 Mm-hmm. Yeah. They have a Drew Valour track suit. Can you? I'm all Drew. I come in just completely... It's like... I'm 39 years old.

Starting point is 01:46:51 Dot E-D-U slash military. When I read, I just put on one of these IHart Radio playlists that go, predict me. And so it plays a much songs that they think I would like. But how do you listen to music while you read? Yeah, that sounds tough. Yeah, that's weird. That's some, like, brainy stuff happening.
Starting point is 01:47:14 I guess it is. No, I don't know anybody that listens to musical. No, I get distracted. Big time. Like, you're able, that's like, that's. I didn't bring that up for that reason. I didn't think anything of it. Your brain is able to separate.
Starting point is 01:47:25 You probably hear all the lyrics of the song and consume what you're reading. You're singing while you're reading. That's like, I think Bill Gates can do. that. This is not the road we're walking down in this segment. I literally will go, because I don't want to spend too much time thinking about the music I want to listen to. So I will go on I Heart Radio and there's a like what I don't forget what the list is,
Starting point is 01:47:45 but it's like what I like based on my other selections, play things that I like. Yeah. And so there is this song that it played for me last night. Never heard of these people. I'm a fan now. But you never hear of anybody until the first time you hear them, right? Dilland Rockoff is his name. Dilland with a D.
Starting point is 01:48:01 and you know I was in Greece in high school the play I played Danny Zuko but they have this new version of you're the one that I want You're the one that I want You're the one of one So they didn't do a whole Greece album Just one song
Starting point is 01:48:18 And unless you knew it's from Greece You probably just think it was a normal song Ramuda do we have this from the beginning Yep Okay here is you're the one that I want Hold on one second one Here is you're the one that I want From Dylan to Rockoff
Starting point is 01:48:28 And Caroline Cole Here you go I've got shoes they're multiplying in control how cool is that because the power you're supplying
Starting point is 01:48:46 it's electrifying it's electrifying it's electrifying you better shape up I don't even think you would know that was a really cool version of that song so I saved it and put on my Instagram story last night
Starting point is 01:49:05 play the hook of that Ramon do will you there's even like a little cool hook a little weird thing to it You're the one that I want Pretty cool, huh? Maybe I'm super geeky out Because I did grease It's good
Starting point is 01:49:38 It is cool You're right I thought even the version Was like new cool Even if you didn't know the old stuff But for those that asked Yeah I was quite the Despian
Starting point is 01:49:48 No no What's that called? The Danny Well I just call it A full service actor Oh well You know I do a little scene for a movie
Starting point is 01:49:56 And then I'd be like You should do it Stranded at the drive-in Branded a fool What will they say The crowd's like Wow, he's gonna do it I'll be like Monday at school
Starting point is 01:50:13 The crowd You're passionate Look back at We're Sandy I'd be like Sandy Can't you see I'm in misery
Starting point is 01:50:28 We made a start Now we're apart There's nothing left for me. It's my passionate moment here. Love has flown all alone. I sit. I wonder why, I, oh, why. You left me.
Starting point is 01:50:52 Oh, Sandy. Then the crowd's like, wow. Then I'm like like, oh, Sandy, baby. Someday. Then the crowd's on their feet. It's great. Real moment for me. Wow.
Starting point is 01:51:06 Thank you. Someday. Okay, okay, okay. I love that bit. Love has flown for alone. What, Eddie? Are you remember all those words? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:21 I know. I know all the words, all that crap. I probably memorized the movie, and then we did the play, and the play's a little bit different than the movie. But, yeah, man. I'm saying, I go grease lightning,
Starting point is 01:51:32 you're burning up the quarter of mile. Greas lightning, go, Greece lightning. I said, I go, grease, Green line in your... Yeah, it's good, man. That was fun for me. In high school.
Starting point is 01:51:41 That's Danny Zooko. And now I can tell. Yeah, still. Yeah, it's still fun. Yeah, still fun. Okay. Are we done or should I do more songs? Should I do the whole soundtrack one morning?
Starting point is 01:51:52 How long did that take? See how many people like to stay listening? How many people we lose? We just do song to song. All right, good morning, everybody. Let's see. It's seven o'clock. Who's still here?
Starting point is 01:52:02 Here are your top three songs in country music this week. at number three. Amy, let's sing them this week. Let's see how you do. Oh, great. You'll do okay. Okay. And number three, can you sing
Starting point is 01:52:11 Marin Morris, the bones? When the bones are good, just don't matter. Just trying to good. Yeah. Nice. Yeah, nice. So do you know what that is?
Starting point is 01:52:23 When the bones are good. The rest don't matter. Yeah, the pain could peel. So do you know what that is that you're singing of that song? Because you don't know the word. You don't know the word. Yeah, but no, I know what she's saying. No, no, no, but do you know what you're singing?
Starting point is 01:52:38 You know what that's called? It's called the bones. No, it's called the melody of the song, right? So that, Bhabo, ba-ba-boo-doo, ba-da-da-boo. Someone says, and they mention a melody of a song, it's not so much the words they're saying, but the,
Starting point is 01:52:52 I got them. Sometimes songwriters will write songs with just the melody and insert words later. So they'll get up and, you know, next, they'll get up to a microphone and there'll be some music playing, and they'll go, see, but I'm up, and they'll go back and be like,
Starting point is 01:53:09 I once went down to do the boat in, and they do that secondly. Gotcha. It's pretty cool. You know, I get talked to a lot of these songwriters on my bobbycast. Some are melody writers, so they write the melody first, like, ba-ba-da-da-da-da-da. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:22 She could have put anything. Yeah, she could have been, I eat skittles at night, and then I go to sleep. Right, you're with me? That's number three. Number two is John Party heartache medication. Can you sing that one? Well, now I'm just so hard when I have another song in my head.
Starting point is 01:53:40 Come on, Amy, you got it. I know this one. It's a jam. I know. Heartache medication. I have no melody. I have no melody. Now she's using it all the time.
Starting point is 01:53:51 She just learned a word and now she's using it. Give her just like one second of it, Ramundo. Yeah. Here I go again. I'm drinking one. I'm drinking two. I got that heartache medication. We knew you knew it.
Starting point is 01:54:03 Strong his. Dedication Dedication Love that guy And then number one You'll know this one Dan and Shea 10,000 hours No
Starting point is 01:54:16 I need 10,000 hours And 10,000 more That's what it takes To get your sweet heart of yours Close enough, there you go I'd spend 10,000 hours Amy's like I need I need 10,000
Starting point is 01:54:32 That's my version of it I need 10,000 Maybe some more. And then probably some more. And then we'll see what happens. My favorite part of that song is, now I'm trying to sing the part. Did you get your middle?
Starting point is 01:54:55 I don't have the melody. Did you get your middle name from your grandma? That's my favorite part. Number one pop song is Post Malone Circles. Back at number one. Okay. No, we're just on this now. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:55:08 And then the number one alternative song is from Meg Myers called Running Up That Hill. Let's see if I like this one. I didn't know what that was, though. Is that the girl in the song? Or is that the guy in the song? That's a girl singing in it? Yeah, she's a girl. Yeah, she's got a lower voice.
Starting point is 01:55:32 Oh, look at that. What do you know? We did announce our IHeart country festival. Dirk, Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Kelsey Ballerini, Kane Brown, John Party, Chase Rice. Special guest, Hot Country Nights. Bobby Bones would be a special guest. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:55:48 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Bobby Bones. If you want a 30-second energy boost, here, see if this works on you, Amy. Okay. Reach both arms above your head. Okay, she has her arms up. Grip one wrist and gently pull for 15 seconds.
Starting point is 01:56:07 Pull, like, stretch it. Stretch it a little bit. There you go. And then repeat the other side. Okay. This sends calming signals to the brain And apparently gives you an energy boost We do this thing in yoga
Starting point is 01:56:19 I went to yoga on Sunday night And so you put your arms above your head Like you do like you reach the mountain You call it mountain pose right We do this And you grab your wrist and you do this You stretch your side And I go and we're doing the whole thing
Starting point is 01:56:29 Right And I leave yoga class And someone goes Hey you know You should really let the advance people Be up in front of class No way Somebody randomly said that to me
Starting point is 01:56:40 No way When I walked into this class I didn't want to go up front I always wait and sit in kind of like the little lobby area until it's right before time. I get there early to make sure I get a spot, but I don't go and put my mat down until I kind of, and one of the last ones walking in the room. So there's only like three spots open. One is in the front.
Starting point is 01:56:59 One's like in the far back corner where I can't see the teacher. And I need to see somebody in order to do the moves right. I'm okay. I'm about a six on a scale of how well do I know yoga. About six. And so I can do it all, but I don't do it super well and I got to watch somebody. And so I'm up front. And by the way, this dude was so ripped beside me.
Starting point is 01:57:15 I would never have gotten beside him. He was so muscular and fit. I was like, I don't even want to be next to this guy because he looked amazing. And I don't. I know. Okay. And so I'm doing everything. I thought I did pretty good.
Starting point is 01:57:27 And I'm walking out. And someone's like, hey, you know, next time you should let somebody really advance be up front. And I thought it is. That is the weirdest comment? I thought, is she right? Because I know I look for people. And maybe people are looking at the person up front. But it was the only spot except for a spot in the very back that I couldn't see.
Starting point is 01:57:42 What's your ruling? No, you can be wherever you want. And yoga is supposed to be, there's no judgment in yoga. Well, that's not true because I got judged hard. And she wasn't super mean about it. But she did say something. No, that comment in itself is mean. Like, I get, maybe her tone wasn't mean, but that's not a nice comment.
Starting point is 01:58:00 You don't say that to anybody. I was all caught off guard. Yeah. And you know what I did? Because I was a cut off guard. I was like, yeah, I know. Because I didn't know what to say. That's all you had.
Starting point is 01:58:10 I didn't tell if she was kidding. Yeah. I didn't know. Maybe she was. I don't think so. Maybe she's like, oh, that's Bobby Bones. I'm going to poke at him a little bit. I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:58:17 Nobody even knows what I do in that room. Yeah. It's because people have armpit hair and I don't wear glasses. And that mixture of both, most armpit hair girls don't listen to this show. And I tie my glasses off, nobody knows who. Even people that know me don't know what's me. I had to take a picture for my passport yesterday. They got to get a new passport.
Starting point is 01:58:36 And so they're like, you have to be on a white wall. You can take it yourself, which is nice. you gotta be on a white wall but no glasses and no smile and take it it looks like a mug shot it looks like
Starting point is 01:58:48 I sent them a mug shot and it took like eight of them and they were all ugly and I was like fine just what's what's the is it horrible picture oh
Starting point is 01:58:57 well you can like kind of smile your teeth can't show you can like you don't have to be like that you can come to the joke you know
Starting point is 01:59:06 you don't have to like mean mug it I should post it on my Twitter Instagram Yeah, that's cool. You can take it yourself now. Last time I had to get a passport. I'd go to like the drugstore. Yeah, but that's before, like, phones had really quality cameras. But you can't, it's only new that you can't smile. Because in my last passport, I look like I'm being tickled. Oh, really? Oh. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's why I did. Okay, we got to go. Today, Amy, quickly. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:59:32 I'm just typical day for me. What about you? I am going to my therapist to talk about having a girlfriend. Yes. It's a big day. My therapist hasn't been here in three weeks. I got to pack. We're going to shoot a couple days in Hawaii. I'll do the show tomorrow. I'll leave right after the show. Got to get to Hawaii.
Starting point is 01:59:47 It's a 12-hour flight. Yeah. In time to do the show the next day. So I got to go pack today. I did tell my stylist for American Idol who picks out my clothes, no tight pants. Hey, two boxes cereal. And it's still in there. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:59:59 Both boxes, both frosted mini-weets and honey bunches of oats. That's what I get for you in two boxes cereal in two days, but they're both sitting in there. But you're going to have to be in a swimsuit, right? No. They don't have me to have a shirt off on Idol. Okay. What kind of program do you think we are? All right. The Bachelor, even. We'll see it tomorrow.
