The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-Show.
All right.
About to start.
off here on Tuesday.
You got a beat for us,
Ramundo?
Because you know what time it is.
You know what day it is?
It's Tuesday.
Let's do it together.
Yeah, yeah.
Come on.
Tuesday.
H-O-A.
Tuesday.
Housewife's going booze.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
The second day of the week,
you all know what's my time.
So I made a song about Tuesday
so happens it rhymes.
The lowest number of crimes.
A super bingo at nine.
This is how I do.
do my Tuesday, this is how I do mine.
The sun comes up. There's a smile on my
lip. Why? Because I love Tuesday is the
first thing I shop. I don't know the rest of it on my computer.
Oh no. It's Tuesday.
Hey, Joe.
When you go get my laptop? I know more of it than I saw it.
I was wondering what you're looking at. Nothing. Nothing. I'll come back to it.
You're trying to go deep in the dome for that one.
I should just put the lyrics on the screen. How Mike D put it up there.
Just in case. Just in case.
By the way, let me say this before we get to the Tuesday song again.
Ramundo and Eddie took an Uber somewhere together.
Is that true?
Yeah, after the football game this weekend.
Why, what happened?
Apparently you're the worst to ride at an Uber with.
Why? What did he say?
Ramoendo, what happened?
Yeah, so we all have that word.
You know, you're getting the Uber.
You can be cordial and say hi to the driver,
but never engage in intense conversation.
Eddie covered it all.
Oh, Eddie's Mr. Personality, though.
To the point where the guy goes, yeah, I'm from L.A.,
and Eddie goes, what part of L.A.?
Who cares what part of L.A.?
And also, what do you know about L.A.?
I know nothing about L.
But the guy wanted to talk.
Dude, he told us he loves podcasts.
And then Eddie, for whatever reason, doesn't say he's part of the Bobby Bone Show.
Eddie says he's on a podcast.
So then the guy's fascinated how the hell Eddie can make a living on a podcast.
And it's obviously a lie.
Who can make a living on podcast?
It's not a lie.
We have a podcast.
We do, but that's your side thing.
You should always go with your main gig.
So Eddie was playing Mr. Cool.
But the topics we covered, oh, the guy likes comedy.
So then he starts to recite a comedy podcast that he listened to.
And it was probably about 1% of as funny as that comedy podcast was.
But we heard it all because Eddie is Mr. Conversation in the Uber.
Here's the alternative.
He would ask a question and Ray would be like, yeah.
Because that's how you tell him, hey, I'm just trying to chill with my buddy.
It's a taxi ride.
It's not a conversation box.
So where are you guys from, Nashville?
That's, I mean, it's like awkward.
That's how you end a conversation coach.
You just kept going.
I was like, yeah, man, we're from Nashville.
We moved here about six years ago.
It's a great place, you know, great place.
you know, great place to raise kids.
Oh, we talked about housing.
How many kids?
I mean, dude, you got everything from the guy.
You got pretty much his income level, everything.
Oh, so how many days a week do you work?
Oh, you just freelance?
Oh, that's great.
Coach, we learned everything about the dude.
Eddie is Mr. Personality.
And sometimes in a wonderful way.
Thank you.
And sometimes you're like, all right, give it a break.
What do you mean?
Give it a break.
I think Ray was just over it.
Yeah.
It was later in the day.
He was ready to go home.
We'd been waiting a little bit for that Uber.
But, I mean, that's not the guy's fault.
He was, I mean, the guy's stuck in a car all day.
He wants to have conversation.
Let's just ask him a few questions.
Good for you.
That's where I was coming from.
Ray wasn't having it.
So it's not, you're able to support a family?
You do an Uber on the side?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I do it on the side.
I'm also a freelancer.
I work on Music Row as well.
Where are you guys at?
I mean, dude, he almost got our exact building address number and everything in the doors we work in.
It's not a problem to me.
You, dude, you let into all that.
You know you could have turned it down any second.
I could have.
And Ray was shut down.
Ray was done.
Oh, great.
How old are your kids?
I mean, good God, dude.
All right, Ray, I move that song again.
All right.
Thanks, Ray.
Here we go.
You know what day it is.
What day is?
What?
It's, it's Tuesday.
H-O-A Tuesday.
Housewives going to boost day.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
The best day of the week you all know was my time.
So I made a song about Tuesday.
So happy.
It rhymes the lowest number of crimes
The super bingo at nine
I don't know you do you do your Tuesday
This is how I do mine
The sun comes up
There's a smile in my mouth
Why? Because I love two days
It's the first thing I shout
Free Zumba this morning
And every Tuesday at 5
I got my spandex on
It's time to head to the Y
Tuesday
H-O-A Tuesday
Housewife's going booze
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Do it again now
Tuesday
Brown cow goes
Moose Day
Eat some cash-shoes-day
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Extra long, it's Tuesday
Is my recycling on the curb as I drive off?
Yup, my recycling's on the curb
I mean Fridays are fine
Because they're casual and all
But I'm always more productive
On my Tuesday conference call my afterwork plans
I got my spray tan
I'm drinking lemon water adding me some cayenne
Pebbles and bam bam, bam
I'm watching C-SPAN
And then it's two for one at Sonic
With a conie in each end, you know
Tuesday
H-O-A-Tuesday
Housewives going booze day
I'm just talking about Tuesday
To the bridge
Marty Gras on a Tuesday
I go to Cromagah
On a Tuesday
I'm playing Pokemon
On a Tuesday
Came out of my mom
On a Tuesday
Tuesday
H-O-A Tuesday
Housewives going
Boozday
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Keep going now
Tuesday
Brown cow goes
Moose Day. Eat some cash.
Tuesday.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
Tuesday.
Yeah.
This video is funny because everyone's jamming.
And then I go to lunchbox and he's like,
Well, I don't know how to sing so I can't sing it.
I can't.
If I sing, I'm off beat.
It goes Tuesday.
No, what I'm saying is I'm off beat, so I just can't participate.
So I just have to sit here and just chill.
I'm watching Ray in the studio, just going to town.
Like Ray has nothing but one button.
And he acts like he's turned.
He's DJing it up.
He's got one on and off.
He's like, you're doing this with Zier?
Love it.
I think that that, because we're going to have to roll,
we're going to go to St. Jude and do some children's hospital music playing
and some Halloween bag making.
But yeah, I think that's pretty much it.
It's a little short one here.
Do you see that story about Prince, by the way,
who was like, hate none, Katie Perry and Ed Shearren from the grave?
No.
Well, so.
From the grave.
Yeah.
So in an autobiography, the prince wrote, and he wrote it before he died.
And he wrote, we need to tell the music industry, they keep trying to ram Katie Perry and Ed Shearing down our throat so we don't like it.
No matter how many times they play it.
He's dead for three years and still beefing.
It's called the beautiful ones.
It comes out today.
And it includes a shot at Katie Perry and Ed Sheeran.
Let's let me say.
Love Katie Perry and Ed Shearin.
Yeah, I did too.
I think you just see generationally people upset at the next generation because they didn't do it the same way that they did it.
And you're going to see little Oosievert mad at, you know, somebody who's got a 13-second hit on TikTok.
Is that the future?
He's like back in my day, our songs were two and a half minutes.
Who has an 11-second hit?
He's like, Tuesday, this song sucks.
Yeah, I saw that this morning.
But you're going to hear a really fun show today because Lanco comes in and plays the Family Feud, the Bobby Bone Show Family Feud.
So that's up there too.
All right, I think that's it.
I'm done.
Got my Halloween costume in the bus.
Are you changing on the bus?
Yeah, I'll change before we get to the hospital.
It's shoulder pads and a helmet.
It's like a whole thing.
How many pieces?
Well, it's a lot of pieces.
I might change.
That's why I wear sweats.
I rarely wear sweats to work anymore.
Did you bring stuff to recycle?
I'll be grabbing things to recycle all on the way.
He doesn't carry recycling.
Oh, he doesn't?
Okay.
Well, I know, but you need to show like examples.
I'm going to run into those kids.
Did you recycle?
Because even part of Tuesday is,
my recycling's on the curb.
that drive up.
Yep, my recycling's on the curb.
Yep.
Because it's true.
All right, that's the deal.
Enjoy Tuesday, October 29th show.
Oh, yeah, today there's some good stuff.
Yeah, it's a good show.
Lunchbox and Dirk's.
Yeah, we'll leave it there.
This is a thing.
It's a little awkward.
Enjoy.
In your opinion.
We'll be back tomorrow, but here's today's show.
Bye, everybody.

This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
Hey, welcome to Tuesday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Got a good one today.
Landco will be in.
I think we're going to play a little bit of Bobby Boneshow family feud against them.
Yes.
What I've done is I've created a new game.
Where the artists come in and they play a game and if they win, they get to promote why they came in.
If they don't, sorry.
Nice.
Yeah.
They're playing for promotion of tour and new song.
If they don't win, it's too bad.
Sorry, Lancoe, no promotion for you.
So Lanko will be in later.
Wow, we're big fans of those guys and friends too.
Also today, we will do a draft, our fantasy draft of songs that make you feel happy.
Happiest songs.
So we'll be drafting that today.
So we got a good show.
Why don't we start now and see what's happening with everybody in a little segment we call,
What's the Haps?
Hey, what's the Haps?
Amy, what's the Haps?
So I don't really write checks anymore, but some people still do.
and I haven't to be behind a lady that was writing a check
and it definitely took a really, really long time.
She was older and she had write it out
and then there was like issues with it
because they stick it in the machine.
Anyway, a guy in line with me got super impatient
and like yelled out.
He's like, who even writes checks anymore
and stormed off to like the self-checkout?
And I just felt bad for her.
Although it's not the most fun to be stuck behind check writing lady.
We don't need to be rude about it.
He must have been having a bad day.
Something other than that must have been
going on his life and he had to go full reptile and got triggered.
And what do we do? We try not, we try not to react.
We respond.
We respond. He didn't really respond. He reacted.
And the proper response would have been to go inside. I'm a little annoyed by this, but
let me be understanding.
Yeah. She still writes checks.
That stinks. So yeah. I'm glad you shared that story though. Hey.
Hey, what's the hatch? What's up with you?
Well, I've now had time to listen to the Old Dominion album.
And I'm not a big album guy anymore because it's just like too much at once.
But they're basically my favorite artist now.
And I love it.
You know, I know you went up this past weekend and did that show with them.
Yeah.
I'm going to play a couple tracks here.
This one is called My Heart is a Bar from Old Dominion.
And this one is called Sailing.
They're so good.
I just say if you're looking for some new music, check out the Old Dominion record, stream it.
Download it.
It's great.
It's as good as I hoped it would be, and that's a lot.
So, hey, that's what's happening there.
Hey, what's the hat?
Lunchbox.
So I told you about a week ago, we were starting to decorate for Halloween,
and I wanted to put up skeletons and kind of scary things.
And my wife was scared that the baby was going to be scared of them.
Well, you guys said that's ridiculous.
So I put up skeletons everywhere, and let me tell you,
the kid loves skeletons.
He points at him, and he crawls to him,
and he starts petting the skeletons.
Loves the skeletons.
So listen, if you got kids, make Halloween scary,
And they'll just think, ah, it's just normal.
They're not scared of skeletons.
There is.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
Eddie, what you got?
I don't know if you guys been watching the World Series,
but Taco Bell has this thing that they do every year.
If they steal a base in the World Series, you get a free taco.
Well, game one, which happened a couple weeks ago.
They did steal a base, so now free tacos, October 30th.
Yeah, tomorrow.
Yeah.
Free tacos.
Don't forget.
Yeah.
And I brought it up so I can remind myself.
I think it's a Doritos Locos Taco, if I'm right.
I think you are right.
Yeah, yeah.
Still a base, still a taco.
Yeah. That's funny. That's what's happening in your life.
I'm excited about that. It's a bright-in brand for you.
Right.
There it is. All right. Hey.
What's the hat?
All right, that's what's up.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
It's time for a draft, and what we do is we go around the room.
And the category today will be songs that make you happy.
And Lunchbox will have the first pick. He drafts the song.
Morgan No. 2 drafts a song. We go around the room, and the way we went the first.
time on the second round we go backward and then after three rounds the person with the best team
of songs as voted on by you at bobby bones.com will be the winner of this point so it's very easy
to find things like the NFL draft it all started with fantasy football and me going well
why don't we fantasy football draft fun things now it's turned into one of our most popular segments
so we're going to draft today songs that make you happy and with the first pick today will be lunchbox
lunchbox you had all night to think about your first pick.
Where are we going?
Whenever I hear this song puts a smile on my face,
puts me in a good mood, and it's called Happy by Farrell.
All right, there you go.
I do love claps and songs.
Claps and snaps.
Eddie, you've been eliminated since you finished last.
You're out of this round?
Correct.
So we'll talk to you into the side, right, bud?
Thank you.
All right.
Morgan number two, you have the second pick of the Happy Song Draft.
Well, I'm this person at the club, so I got to choose it.
It's Dancing Queen by Abba.
That's a pretty fun song that comes out of nowhere, kind of.
When I hear it, and I like it with the techno beat two when I'm out.
Yeah, that's good.
It's kind of fun.
Ramundo, what song makes you happy?
Yeah, give me Walking on Sunshine, Katrina in the Way.
Some sunny songs.
Oh, I'm just happy that mine's still here.
because I have
what I feel like
is the song
that makes everybody
the happiest
if it's played
everybody just gets happy
at the beginning of it
you're like
I don't know if I'm about
to be happy
and then when it hits
it's so happy
Friends in Low Places
Garth Brooks
The Ultimate Bar Party song
This is the first song
that came to mind
Amy
That's good
Thank you you're up
Good
Okay
No one's going
For your opinion
I was just going
Oh okay
I was like
Okay okay
I mean gosh
My first round
are all taken.
Really?
Well, I mean, this one's pretty good.
Go ahead.
Okay, this one just makes me happy.
I love it.
Oh, oh, this one's still available.
Eddie teased it, though.
So I'm going to take Travis Tritt.
It's a great day to be alive.
I was going to take it if you did next.
That's a good pick.
Yes, I just realized.
It's like a really great pick.
Last night I was at home and I was making my list.
I was like, this is going to be a great second round pick for me.
Good job.
That's a good one.
Okay.
First round, Farrell Happy.
Abba Dancing Queen, Katrina and the Waves
Walking on Sunshine,
Garth Brooks, Friends in Low Places,
and Travis Trit, it's a great day to be alive.
Those are all of our first round picks.
Songs that make you happy.
Now here we go, second round.
Teams, are you ready to draft again?
Ready.
Yeah.
Amy.
I love this song.
It makes me happy
and it's Zach Brown band Chicken Fried.
Yeah, it's a good one.
Good.
I think about that.
It's a good one now.
Yeah.
All right, I'm up.
Let me look at my list here.
You know, I'm just going to go with Uptown Funk.
Dang it.
Yeah.
It's just a fun song.
And the word fun is in funk.
Can't spell funk without fun, baby.
Hey, that's funny.
Like, you can't, if they play a song in a sporting event, I'm like,
that's a pretty fun song.
Ramundo, you're up.
What's a fun song?
You're drafting fun songs.
Yeah, JT.
I got Can Stop the Feel.
Oh, it's a good one.
So good.
Like, I like to keep your songs playing.
They're so fun.
That's a good one, Ray Bundo.
Thank you, thank you.
All right, Morgan number two.
You have Abba Dancing Queen.
Are you going to pick another song about you?
Well, I do sing this one at the bars,
so it is Don't Stop Believe in by Journey.
That's a good one.
That's a happy one.
Wow.
She's picking a lot of older ones.
I like it.
That one makes you happy because everybody sings it together.
That's a good one.
Yeah.
All right, Lunchbox has for real happy.
What is your second round pick, lunchbox?
Oh, boy, I got to adjust here.
I'm going to go with.
This song comes on and everybody smiles and starts doing the dance with it.
It's called the YMCA and YMCA.
That's fun to stay.
Woo!
That's true.
It does make people.
That is such a good song.
And everybody knows the dance.
Pretty easy dance to do.
Except I do the C wrong every time.
What?
You do it the wrong way?
I do it the wrong way.
And yeah.
Okay, so if you're just turning the show on here,
we are going through the happiest songs.
We've drafted two rounds.
We'll go around the room one more time.
You guys can all pick one more song.
And then at the end,
we encourage you to go to bobbybones.com
and vote on the team that you think.
makes you the happiest. Which songs you like the best?
All right, Lunchbox, you have your last pick.
Huh, yeah. I'm gonna go. I mean, this may cut out some of the demographic, but you guys can't
deny this is a jam. And it is called, girls just want to have fun.
That's a good one. What's the demographic you're cutting out? Yeah. I'm worried some guys
will try to act like they don't smile when this song comes on because it's still a good jam.
Oh, yeah. I had it on my list. Me too. Yeah, that's a good one. I may have taken it next round.
Morgan number two, what is your final pick?
You have Dancing Queen and Don't Stop Believing.
Are you going to go maybe something like from the 50s, Duke of Earl,
great balls of fire from the 60s?
You're going to keep going back?
No, but it is an older song, but it's saying at every baseball game,
and it's Sweet Caroline.
That's a good one.
I even think about that one.
That's good.
She has the bar answer going.
I wonder why.
Yeah, I wonder why.
Morgan's like, when do I feel that?
happiest at the bar.
What are the songs that play at the bar?
That's good, though.
That's a good one.
I even think about that one.
Dang.
The good thing about categories like this is wide open.
There's so many.
Yeah.
Ramundo, final one for me.
Don't worry, be happy.
Don't worry.
Good one.
It came on late.
I thought it would be a little sooner.
Don't worry, be happy.
It's just right on my list.
It's super happy, but unless you're older,
I don't even know if you know this song.
I literally have like,
One song left, I hope you don't take it.
Be Happy.
That's Bobby McFerrin.
Don't worry, Be Happy from Raymoando.
All right.
Let me look at my list here.
Talk it out.
Well, I have some good ones, Amy.
What do you have?
What's your one?
Actually, now that I look...
Amy, don't tell them.
No, because if you can't...
The rule is, right?
If you didn't have it on the wall, you can't play it, right?
Rule.
That's Ray Mundo's rule.
Because he has all the clips.
Oh.
We can change it at any point because no...
I'm pretty sure some people have already broke that rule.
Because nobody knows.
knows what each other's picking.
Oh, okay.
Let's talk it out.
What you got?
Well, no.
Oh, this is like if we're the, we had like players left.
I don't want to give you all my songs, though.
Well, it's okay.
You just tell me what you got.
Let me mark off girls when I have fun.
I did have that on my left.
Yeah, same.
Ooh, tell me.
Well, okay.
So what song makes me happy?
Yeah.
Like whenever God bless the USA plays, I do like that one.
That's good.
Definitely should make you happy.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
What else do you got?
Well, I do love the USA
So I party in the USA up here too
Oh my gosh, that's so good
I didn't even think of that one
But that is a jam
If you don't take that, I will
See, that's what I don't like
I have two that I'm
Okay, I'm gonna...
Oh wow!
I know, I'm gonna eliminate Smash Mouth All-Star as well
Because that's from Shrek
Yeah, that's a fun one
But I'm gonna eliminate this one
I have Mbop
That one makes me happy too
Oh, dang
You have way better picks than I do
You just take one that he doesn't take.
Here's what I'm torn between.
You want to know what I have.
Well, on the count of three, let's say the last one we have.
One, two, three.
I will survive.
Okay.
Oh, interesting.
You can have one of mine.
You can probably take one of mine.
That's not a good one.
I realize I have one more.
I didn't know this hadn't been used.
Let me say the other one.
No, are you kidding?
I got a puck and got a fucking blue sunshine.
What's your other one?
Thank you.
It's fun.
I don't know it that much.
Shake it off.
Great one.
That's a good one.
Okay, don't take it.
Hold on, hold on.
Guys, we can't be helping each other.
That's the strategy.
Where's this is the last?
Yeah, we're competing against each other.
It's like you work together.
I'm just trying not to get eliminated.
I'm not going to win this thing.
I'm going to.
I'm going to go with party in the USA.
Oh, that's my pick.
Yeah, that's my pick.
I have friends in low places.
Uptown Fonkin Party in the USA.
Oh, wow.
And what are you going to take?
I'm going to take Taylor Swift, Shake It Off.
Good.
That's a good pig.
In the end, we stayed with what we, what we,
we danced with the girl that brought us.
Nice.
Yeah.
Okay.
Here are your teams.
Lunchbox has Perel Happy,
the Village People YMCA,
and Cindy Lopperer Girls just want to have fun.
Morgan number two has Abba Dancing Queen,
Journey Don't Stop Believe in,

Zach Brown Band, Chicken Fried, and Taylor Swift, shake it off.
All right. How do you feel?
I feel really good.
Okay.
I feel good for everybody.
I feel very happy.
It's a fun one.
Yeah, because it like...
For sure.
Have we done before, like, the saddest songs?
I can't remember.
Yeah, we didn't.
And we all felt terrible afterwards.
Yeah, it wasn't a good one.
We were doing like, we should never do saddest ones again.
The draft on Thursday, it'll be saddest news you've ever received.
Oh, wow.
Oh, my gosh.
It totally does enjoy us.
Yeah, I'd be like, well, this one time.
Bobbybones.com, go vote on the team.
team that you like the most, what set of songs there?
Maybe we could do like Ways the World Will End.
Oh God, that's terrible.
What?
How you're going to die.
How you think you're going to die?
We can't, we did the sad, our saddest movie once.
We can never do sad stuff again.
Yeah, it's not good.
Because as fun as it is for a second, about the second round, you're like, I'm bummed out, man.
Yeah.
Okay.

The Bobby Bone Show.
Big three stories.
Let's go over to our producer,
Ramundo.
Ramundo, what you got over there?
In California,
the wildfires continue to burn UCLA students
had to evacuate officials,
a warning, pay attention.
to evacuation orders.
And on the news, a grandfather who accidentally dropped his granddaughter from the 11th floor of a cruise ship this summer,
he's now been accused of negligent homicide.
He's under arrest.
And finally, Popeye's announced their sold-out chicken sandwich that's going to return Sunday, November 3rd.
All right, here we go.
Let's play another 60-second showdown on the phone.
We have Katie, who has decided to call and play the game with us.
Hi, Katie.
Hi, Bobby.
You feeling pretty good?
I'm feeling pretty good.
I like that. I hear Katie, Amy. You know, I hear confidence.
Yeah. Do you hear that? Yeah, I hear I'm going to win this.
Oh, yeah, yeah. Um, Katie, how this works? I have 10 questions. If you get all 10 right in 60 seconds, I give you $100 cash from my own wallet. And here it is hitting the microphone. Ready?
I'm ready. Oh, you know that money? How that money?
I hear it. Not a lot of money. It's mostly just business cards that I collect from people.
But I will give you $100 in cash. Are you ready to play? Your, your category, $1.00.000.
choices are science or 90s movies?
I'm going with 90s movies.
Okay. Now, tell me one interesting fact about you, Katie.
I retired from the U.S. Army.
Hey, look at this.
All right.
Well, because of that, you get one free answer.
The first question and answer would be, who betrayed Simba's father and the Lion King?
And that would be Scar.
Yeah.
So you have a free answer since you served.
Woo!
Yeah, look at that.
Love that.
I'm a real treat.
Are you ready to play and win yourself 100 bucks in cash?
I'm ready.
Where do you live? What state?
I live in Oklahoma.
Oh, there's another reason.
Yeah.
Love it.
Let's go.
When the first question ends, we start the timer.
You have 60 seconds.
It's Katie versus the questions.
60 second showdown begins.
Now, who betrayed Simba's father and the Lion King?
Scar.
Correct.

in what movie?
Kick and run.
Incorrect.
What's the name of the new kid in the sandlot?
Smalls.
Correct.
Who did Leo DiCaprio play in the movie Titanic?
He played Jack.
Correct.
As if is a famous quote from what 90s teen movie.

What's the name of the Space Ranger in Toy Story?
Buzz Lightyer.
Yes.
Who played Selena in the Selena biopic?

Are from what movie
Oh

You would have got that
You did great
You just took a little too long
On a couple of them
Yes, Jennifer Lopez.
Yes.
Selena Gomez is the remake one.
Jennifer Lopez was the biopic.
Selena.
You nailed.
You don't talk about Fight Club,
which I thought would take a second.
It didn't.
Where you held off a bit was Aerosmith.
You got to kind of jump on.
Yeah.
But you knew it.
It just took you a second.
And then you got American Pie.
Did she miss any except for Jennifer Lopez?
Which one?
Oh, okay.
Harry and Marv are the names of the burglars.
movie? Home alone. Also known as the wet bandits. Yeah, that's right. Well, listen, Katie,
I appreciate you playing. Thank you for listening to the show. I wish I could give you a prize,
but since it's my money, I don't. I understand. All right, hey, have a great morning. Thank you, Katie.
You too. Goodbye show. All right, goodbye. Goodbye. So as we keep up with Raimundo and his impending
engagement, whenever that is, Raymondo's been with this girl for six years, Ramundo is. Ramundo is been with this girl for six years.
is our audio producer he sits in the room and runs the show as it's going on.
And you guys have been together. Do you know exactly how long Ramondo?
Yeah, it's been nice just saying six years. It might be a little bit more than that.
It might be about six in a couple months.
So I got told that you got drug out or asked to go out to our parents' places past weekend.
Yeah. Yeah, so I went out there and it was, I was actually prepared to talk to the parent,
you know, have that talk with her dad, go out on the property.
And he works on the property all the time and be the perfect time to chat with.
with him. That's when guys are... You promised that you were going to have that talk. Yes, absolutely.
And you haven't had the talk yet, though. I have not had the talk, so I thought it'd be an amazing
opportunity to get a couple beers and just go out on the back patio and chat. But we go there,
and then apparently, they're out of town. So we were just there to house sit. There was no parents
there after I'd gotten up all the courage and everything. So it's kind of a letdown. I really wanted
to come to you guys and be like, I did it. I talked to her dad one more step closer, but yeah,
they weren't even there. He was nowhere to be found. How far is the drive from here to there?
20 minutes.
Okay, so you could do this in an afternoon when they're home.
Sure, absolutely.
But I'm just saying it.
Dude, I drive 20 minutes at the gym.
That's my commute every day.
Yeah.
Listen, it's a little bit of a journey out there.
And so it was great being there, but I did wish that her dad was there.
Is he waiting for you to have that talk with him?
He probably is.
Because there was another opportunity, me and him were on a street corner one time,
and it was just me and him standing there, and we were waiting for an Uber.
And Laura was probably 50 feet away from us.
I had that chance.
But would you have crammed it in and an Uber wait?
But I heard all you have to say is,
hey, man, can I have your daughter's hand in marriage?
And then you just move on.
It's not a whole talk.
It's just a very simple thing you ask them.
It's like a permission slip?
Yes.
And I'm on a clipboard.
Are we just on here, date here?
Thank you.
Thank you.
But yeah, so I have missed some opportunities,
but I'm definitely looking forward to talking to her dad.
So you have to do that in your mind.
You have to talk to him first before you propose.
Yeah.
We're in the south.
It's a respectful thing.
Maybe in the north you can get away with not doing it,
but I heard down in the south you have to to a girl's father family.
It's traditional.
Well, I wasn't asking you for that reason.
I'm just asking, if you haven't done that, we know you haven't proposed.
Correct.
Okay.
Yeah.
Why don't you just get on his calendar and be like, hey, can we talk?
Well, I mean, he's out of town.
Now I don't know where he is.
Amy, anything here?
Well, he'll be back.
Yeah.
And he's 20 minutes away.
I'll drive that far to pick up some food and then come back home.
But in traffic, and through the hills and country roads.
Dirt roads.
Oh, I didn't think about it.
Stop it.
Dirt roads.
Okay, he still is not engaging.
Does she get irritated with all this talk about engagement?
It just depends the tone.
I think she doesn't like the polls when we say,
will Ray and Bay get engaged?
She doesn't like that.
But other than that, she thinks it's all fun.
Will Ray talk to her dad before Thanksgiving?
She doesn't like polls.
Oh, that's a poll.
Yes or no?
Before the end of Thanksgiving Day.
No.
Because it could be on Thanksgiving.
That's when I think it's going to happen.
You'll have the talk on Thanksgiving Day.
So we have three yeses.
No, hard no.
You don't think it's a hard, hard, hard, hard.
Hard, hard, no.
We were not even going to Christmas.
Not this year.
Wait, wow.
We're just talking about him talking to her dad.
Okay, no.
Not even this year.
No, you guys are being fooled.
Yeah, you're dead wrong because I am going to talk to him before the end of the year.
No, no, before Thanksgiving.
See?
See, you've got him.
But you're proposing before the end of the year.
Absolutely.
I got to cram it all in.
But that's not how you should propose and a cram.
I got to cram it in.
It's a perfect Christmas present.
Yeah, Merry Christmas.

Congratulations to Devin Dawson and his wife Leah.
The two recently got married in Tennessee and he shared the news on social media writing,
I married my dream girl.
I'm working number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
There was a six-year-old girl in Ohio.
She's playing down in the basement and all of a sudden the house catches on fire.
and she's sitting there going, oh, no, I'm trapped in the basement.
What should I do?
Oh, wait, a couple weeks ago in school, we learned fire safety tips.
I know to get low, cover myself up until the firefighters arrive.
So the house upstairs on fire, she gets underneath some blankets so she doesn't breathe in much of smoke.
Firefighter save her.
And she says, yeah, I've learned that in school.
So they gave an award to her and her teacher.
They found her underneath the blanket?
Yeah.
I would be, I mean, it's good that she did it because I guess, yeah, you don't breathe.
than the smoke.
But I would think,
what if nobody came to find me?
I would just think I was a firefighter.
There's a lumpy blanket.
Leave it.
Right. Get out, get out.
The room's clear.
Wow.
Yeah, good for her.
Yeah.
And I like this as a teacher
award, too.
That's a nice little fun twist on it as well.
All right, that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobid Bones show.
Bonehead.
Norrie up the day.
This story comes with us from Las Vegas, Nevada.
A 50-year-old woman was asked to leave a casino.
She was causing a scene.
She got upset.
went out to the parking lot,
got in her Winnebago,
and drove it right through the front doors,
into the casino.
Wow.
Where was this?
In Vegas?
Yeah.
It's called the Canary Casino.
I don't know where that is,
but it's in Las Vegas,
and there's her Winnebago
right there in the front of the casino.
I mean, I'm sure alcohol was...
They believe alcohol was involved.
I also believe alcohol was involved.
She drove right through the window.
All right, there you go.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
On the Bobby Bone,
show now
Landcoe
We're here
You may know them
From such songs as
I was gonna be your forever
You know that one?
Coming for my job man
Yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Amy know that one
Yeah you sounded just like them
Yeah exactly
You're gonna be my wife
Hey play a little bit of that Ramundo
Mm-hmm
Because I was gonna be your forever
You guys
You have to play that last right
Yeah if we want like the crowd
To like really cheer at the end
Then yes
What is born to love you the second biggest song that you guys play that people know?
Yeah, yeah.
Play some of that.
I'm born to love you.
There we go.
Here's what we're doing.
By the way, Brandon, the lead singer of Lanko, text me last night.
But it was after 8 o'clock.
And so I didn't reply.
So you probably think I'm a jerk.
But to be fair, I was asleep.
I know.
You said it was late.
I was like, man, it was 8 o'clock.
But it was, I wake up at 3.30-ish in the morning.
And here's where I fall on that.
if you text me after I go to sleep,
I will not text in the morning
until I'm sure everyone's awake.
You have to text pretty late in the morning,
maybe afternoon, if you want me to be awake.
This is rare for me right now.
So I am just like, hey, Brandon,
I got your text.
Appreciate that, bud.
Good to see you too.
Yeah, I did a little fist pound emoji too.
Let me, what'd you call it?
Um, imagey?
Fis pound emoji.
Like, it's early.
It sounded like he did say imagery.
Yeah.
Okay.
You know little like knuckles?
Yeah.
Here's this text.
Daps.
Hey, this is Brandon's text to me last night at 8.02 p.m.
Yeah, 8 o'clock phone goes, shoo, shuts down for the most part.
Hey, man, hope you doing well, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
What are you wearing?
Brandon.
That is, yeah, that was a private text.
He didn't write, what are you wearing?
I bet the rest of it.
What were you wearing?
Yeah.
You know, I just sleep in underwear.
Like, boxer briefs, and that's it.
I can't go fully naked.
No, that's ridiculous.
Because you like a roll over.
and stuff again. It's not a pleasant thing as a man.
You ladies kind of have it pretty good with that sleeping naked.
You can. It's not a big deal.
Me as a dude?
It's like, you're just like injuring things.
It's hazardous.
I'm good, not thinking about it.
Hearing this conversation? Yeah, yeah.
I would keep it going.
Landcoe is here, and here's the bet we made.
Is that I brought you guys in, one because I love you,
but two, we're going to play the family feud.
Do you guys familiar with the game?
We call the Bobby feud.
Yes.
Yes.
And if you win a category, you get to
promote whatever you came in to promote. Either your new song, your tour. If you don't,
ah, sorry. All right. All right. Have you ever had, ever been into a show and you only get to
promote based on if you win? No, I'm going to say this right now. This feels like karma because
little fact about me, like one of my favorite channels to watch is the game show network.
I just like keep it on and I watch Family Feud enough and you're like sitting there and just
talk smack. It's like, I would have got that. And now like my palms are sweating a little bit.
Like something's on the line. Well, and you're playing it because we took our show to play Celebrity Family
people and we lost.
Big time.
I can't play because I have all the questions here,
but they're up for blood.
And we're actually pretty good,
and we did awful.
Here are the players from Lanko.
Clap your hands for Brandon, the lead singer.
Chandler the bass player
and trip on drums,
they are Lanko.
And walking up to the stage right now
from the team of the Bobby Bone Show.
It is Amy.
Lunchbox.
And Morgan number two.
Happy to be here.
What up, what up.
All right, everybody's standing on the stage.
Oh, I can, uh-oh, all right.
Oh, they put their hoodies up.
Hood's up.
Okay.
Amy and Brandon from Lanko, you're up first.
Now, your buzzer will be your name.
So when I ask the question, if you know it, you say,
Brandon.
Do you feel like your heart tingling?
Yeah, I feel like, yeah, I feel it.
All right, everybody, let's play the few.
Yay!
All right, here we go.
There are 53 points on the board.
Five answers.
Name a famous Martin.
Amy.
Amy.
Chris Martin.
Show me Chris Martin.
What?
What?
Brandon.
Brandon.
What?
Martin Short.
Show me Martin Short.
Guys.
Over to lunchbox.
Lunchbox.
Steve Martin.
Show me Steve Martin.
Yeah.
You guys get to beat that one, though.
Go.
Martin Scorsese.
Oh my God.
Okay, you guys get the category.
I'm not going to lie.
You said that.
I went to Martin guitars.
I was like,
the team Bobby Bone Show, you're up.
Morgan number two, you're up?
You can't talk.
Morgan number two is so short.
She doesn't even get me like...
You got...
Lanko, you do not get to play.
They won the category.
Let's see how they do. Name a famous Martin.
Tony Martins.
Oh, I'm sorry. Time is up.
Name a famous Martin. Amy, back over to you.
Wait, do we already do Martin?
It's up to you. Name a famous Martin.
There's only been one Martin on the list, which was Steve Martin.
Oh, Steve Martin.
Yeah, we've already got that one.
Okay. So, Martin Lawrence.
Yes, good job.
Show me Martin, Lawrence.
Yes.
Okay, lunchbox, over to you.
There's more?
Name a famous Martin.
A famous Martin.
Come on, guys.
Easy.
Bill Martin.
It's barbecue.
I don't know, I don't know where that is,
but I know Bill Martin.
Who is that?
Who is that?
No, I'm sorry.
Wow.
Morgan number two, you have two strikes.
If you miss it, Lancoe gets a chance to steal it.
Don't talk, or you'll be disqualified.
Name a famous Martin.
I'm going to steal Branden's,
and I'm just going to see Martin.
Because I don't know Martin.
Martin guitars.
Show me Martin guitars.
Incorrect.
Now, Lanko is coming over to you.
You can talk about it now.
Okay, we huddle, right?
Yeah, whatever you want.
Name a famous Martin.
Oh, God.
Boom.
Brandon, if you get this right, you get to promote something.
Okay?
Name a famous Martin.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Oh! show me.
Martin Luther King Jr.
There!
I'm embarrassed.
I'm embarrassed.
That was the number one answer.
Right.
We quit.
The other famous Martins are Dean Martin and Martin Sheen.
But Lanco, so far you're up one to nothing.
What would you like to promote first?
Martin Sheen?
Would you like?
I give you options.
The tour?
Or would you like to play your new song?
You know, I feel like we're on a radio show.
We should probably do the song.
Okay.
So tell me about the song that we're going to play.
Yeah, it's our new single is called What I See.
and do I like key talk
I feel like I'm still on a timer
like a family fever
I'm sorry
that's not the right song
yeah
no it's actually the three of us
wrote it with Jeremy Spillman
and it really did come from
this past year just touring around
and going to these little towns
and kind of reminiscent on
you can be in a town
and that bar
that exit sign whatever it is
doesn't mean it's not that important
to you but to someone
that's their whole life
that's where they made
some of their biggest memories
or it's you know
story they can tell from their perspective.
And so we kind of wanted to write a song on that
and kind of the more than meets CI theme.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Landcoe.
All right, Landcoe is in.
You may know them from this song right here.
There it is.
Be whoever.
Yeah, yeah.
You're going to beat my wife.
That's good.
I should sing along with it all the time.
Now, you guys won the first category.
And we played your new song called What I See.
Now, if you win this next category, we talk about your tour.
If you don't, no tour for you.
You don't even get to go on the tour.
No ticket so long.
You don't even get to go on the tour.
In the studio with us, it's Brandon, the lead singer, Chandler, the bass player, Tripp, the drummer.
And I do have a category here.
By the way, Bobby Bone Show is playing against you.
I do have a category now.
It's kind of Halloween themed.
Let's play the few.
Up to the microphone, Chandler.
Up to the microphone, lunchbox.
I am here.
You buzz in by yelling your name.
Oh, yeah.
Okay?
Here we go.
Name something people
are afraid of. Lunchbox.
Ghosts. Ghost.
Goose. Show me
Show me ghost.
Number four of five.
Chandler.
You can still name something people are afraid of.
Snakes.
Show me snakes.
Number three. You get the category.
All right.
Trip.
Over to you, bud.
Uh-oh.
Something that people are afraid of.
Two answers are off the board.
They are ghosts and snakes.
What else is left?
Tripp.
Spiders.
Oh, show me spiders.
Number one answer, spiders.
Yeah.
All right, still in it.
Brandon Leedsinger of Lanko.
It's Halloween.
People are afraid a lot of things at Halloween.
It's the scary holiday.
We're talking about what people are scared of here.
Named something people are afraid of.
Spiders, ghosts, and snakes are off the board.
Uh
I
I've
Something people are afraid of
Brandon
Out of time
Being on Family Feud
I'm sorry
Chandler
Come on back up here
One strike is against you
Name something people are afraid of
Sharks
Sharks
Good answer
Show me sharks
That's two X's
Trip over to you bud
If you miss this
It goes over and they get a chance
steal it and that means no promotion for the tour.
Oh my, yeah, yeah. The tour's in your hands.
My leg's a little bit shaky, so.
Name something people are afraid of. Two answers left on the board.
Clowns.
Clowns. That's a great one.
I like that answer.
Show me clowns.
No.
And now the Bobby Bone Show can steal.
Wow. Lanko has one point from the first round.
The Bobby Bone Show team of Lunchbox, Amy and Morgan number two are talking about it right now.
It's getting intense.
We got two good ones.
We got two good ones.
Talk it out.
Talk it out.
What are the two options?
I mean, listen, at least I think everyone is scared of dying.
And, you know, little kids, when you have little kids, you got to put a nightlight in their room because they're scared to the dark.
Like, they're scared of the dark.
And we don't know which one to say.
And we don't know which one.
But Amy said the first one came to her head was dark.
I said death.
Amy, you want to go with you or you want to go with me?
Morgan number two, what do you want to do?
You need a breaker.
Come on.
Go.
What do you want to do?
Did an answer, guys.
Scared of the dark.
D.
That's good.
I will tell you this, death is not on there.
Yeah!
So at least you didn't pick something that wasn't on there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
If the dark is on there, you guys win the round.
And guess what?
No tour!
And no tour.
Take that, L'Ha, go!
All right.
Show me!
For the steel.
Show it!
Scared of the dark.
The other answer was...
Hites.
Scared of heights.
Scared of heights.
It's one to one.
There's one more round.
Let's lose you!
All right.
Lanko is here.
The Bobby Bone Show is here.
Tripp, you're up.
Let's go.
You just say your name.
Tripp's the drummer of Lent.
How's the hands?
They're good, man.
I'm not used to talking into mic
because I play drums.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Do you have a mic on the drum kit?
Yeah, but only for their ears.
I'll say some funny stuff.
So you only talk into their ears.
You don't sing out loud.
Oh, no, no, no.
Can you sing at all?
Yeah, oh yeah.
No, I can't.
Okay.
I'm Brent.
Morgan number two, are you ready?
I'm ready.
Tripp, are you ready?
Name something that goes up and down.
Morgan.
Morgan.
Morgan number two, go ahead.
An elevator.
An elevator.
That's good.
Show me an elevator.
Number four.
A five.
Trip, you can steal.
Bobber.
Oh, up down, up down.
Listen, the guy fishes for sure.
No.
What?
Bobber did not make it.
You guys have the category, Amy?
Come on, Amy.
Name something that goes up or down.
Morgan Wallin.
The first thing I think of is my emotions.
That's what I had.
Lunchbox also had Amy's emotions.
Elevator and escalator off the board.
Oh, those are together.
Yes.
Oh, man.
Good thing.
Something that goes up and down.
Okay.
An airplane goes up and it goes down.
Show me an airplane.
That's the number two answer.
Amy been doing good
Lunch box
Names something that goes up and down
Guys something that goes up and down
Like today I'm wearing a sweatshirt
Because it's cold outside
Tomorrow may be hot
The temperature
Oh my number one
No me temperature
Yes not number one though
Morgan number two
There are two answers on the board
Name something that goes up and down
Okay I'm thinking about like jumping
Something with jumping
Um
Name something something that's jumping um
Name something
Something that goes up and down.
A trampoline?
Interesting.
Amy, back over to you.
Amy, back over to you.
Name something that goes up and down.
Lanko, you can steal if they get three strikes.
Something that goes up and down.
Wow.
Up and down.
Okay, well, I know this is just joking about this one,
but someone's emotions.
Oh, show me someone's emotions.
No.
Two strikes?
It should.
I've gone up and up.
down a lot during this game. Name something
that goes up and down. Listen
guys, I don't get to dabble in this very often, but
I've heard of people doing this. Stock prices.
Boom! Boom!
Yeah, you want to go Wall Street.
Incorrect.
Now, Lancoe, there are two
answers. You guys can talk about it and steal.
If you get it right,
you win the category.
You can talk into the mic, it doesn't matter. I want to hear what
they're saying. Get out of their huddle, please.
Here we go. Landcoe, talk
it out.
They have their arms on each other
The band Landcoe is in playing the family feud
Something that goes up and down
The number one answer is still on the board
Those that are out of airplane
Temperature and elevator
Lanko still talking it over
Trampoline wasn't one of them
Jumping on a trampoline
No it was not
This is for the tour guys
Neither was stock prices
All right guys
Ten seconds left
You have to cancel your whole tour
If you don't get this right
No pressure
They are nervous
I know
All right.
Brandon, Leitzinger, Lanko, do you have an answer?
We have like five answers.
Okay, what do you have for your answers if you're talking through them?
Our, right, well, thought of Seesaw, I don't think that's...
Okay.
Okay, the economy, is that like stock prices?
Yeah, that would be the same.
Go ahead.
Gas prices.
Oh.
Do I like, I like Tammy's reaction?
I think that's the one.
No.
You don't think so?
I got it.
I got it.
Roller coasters.
What goes up and...
I have it.
You do?
Amy does have it.
What do you think it is?
I need to wait.
Oh yeah, it's totally weight.
That's probably...
Yeah, I'm gonna go with weight.
I'm gonna go with weight.
Okay, Lanco says it's weight.
Oh, me!
Unless you just let us into losing.
Show me.
Wait.
I'm sorry.
We won.
The other answer, I would have accepted roller coaster.
That was losing mine.
Roller coasters.
I had that.
Was that yours?
Yes.
Sorry.
That was mine specifically.
I'm just taking credit for it.
Guys, I'm sorry.
All right.
No tour.
That was the last one?
There's no tour.
No tour.
It's all right.
We get a break.
Yeah, we get some time off.
Can I talk about their tour?
That's up to you, Amy.
I feel bad because I'm the one that said, wait.
I was pretty confident.
It was on there and I wanted them to win.
That's pretty.
That's up to you.
Roller Coasters.
What's the name of you guys this tour?
Tell Amy, she can say it.
You lost, you can't.
Oh, it's called the What I See Tour.
There you go.
And we're going all over the country.
It's going to be amazing.
You can check us out.
We're going to sing, I want to be your forever.
You're going to be my wife.
You can go to landcoe.com for tour dates and stops.
And we're probably going to have some really awesome opening people with us.
Yes.
We don't know for sure who.
yet, but we'll have surprises.
If you keep singing right now, it's going to be you.
Guess people might show up.
Okay.
Yeah.
There you go.
Oh, it starts January 9th.
So we're starting off 2020 strong.
If you're looking for Christmas presents, maybe you could be like, oh, tickets go on sale
this Friday.
Go ahead and they can stick them in your Christmas stocking and then boom, you're going
to Landco.
Okay, there you go.
Roller coasters.
Yes.
There they are.
Our friends from Landco.
Check them out on tour.
Sorry you guys suck a name,
Family Feud, but you did okay.
All right, there they are, everybody.
We'll see you guys next time.
Another round of when to do promotion.
Yeah.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So Oxford University just voted in favor of using silent jazz hands at graduation instead of clapping to show appreciation to the graduates.
You don't like it?
Well, it does take a long time when they have to announce every single person and the crowd claps and it drags it on and on.
It does.
That takes a long time.
But I mean, you're so excited and proud and like, woo, it can be the first person that graduated from your family from Oxford.
So the school is saying
Use jazz hands
That's a funny sight
It is
You look at in the crowd and be like
Ah
Jazz hands
Yeah
Yeah
It must be such an issue
That they've had to make this
Because the classes must be so big
I'm okay with it
I've just talked myself through it
I'm okay with it
Now if you want to go rogue
And cheer on your own person
Have at it
But what it's going to do
Is stop the entire crowd
From sharing people they don't know
So I still think if you're super proud of somebody
That's my boy
Have at it
With the jazz hands.
You and both.
Go to town.
But again, it does stop people
that don't know them
for feeling obligated to clap
and extending it for everyone.
I now feel good about my,
I agree with them.
I'm good with that.
Okay.
Talk myself through it.
Yeah.
Still yell for your own people
if you want.
That's on you.
But everybody else doesn't need to
because they don't know you
and everybody's going to get out of it quicker
and you can go to Applebee's later.
All right, the end.
Amy, what else?
So more and more kids
are doing this illegal activity,
this Halloween.
You want to guess what it is?
Hitting mailboxes with baseball bats.
Oh, yeah, that is...
60s.
White's illegal activity.
But no, it's walking through graveyards after they're closed for the night.
The real bad kids do what I say.
Some graveyards are a little more lenient.
If there is an actual, like, closed gate, you could technically get away with it.
But others are really strict, and they have signs, and it is considered vandalism, so don't even think about doing it.
And if you damage something, you could be facing thousands of dollars worth of fines.
No, that's nothing.
You'll get haunted.
Yeah.
Or you'll get haunted.
The fines is one thing.
Being haunted is another.
All right, what else?
So I just wanted to give a shout out to Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
They saw this teacher's post go viral about how one of her students often goes hungry.
So they donated a year's worth of food to the elementary school where that teacher worked.
I guess they have a company that they're in on.
I had no idea.
It's called tiller and hatch.
And it sells a portable, like, frozen meals in, like, gets made in, like, a pressure cooker.
But they donated, like, a year's worth of food.
Not good for them.
And you can buy their food.
at online or at Walmart if you want to support them
because they're obviously trying to do awesome things.
There you go.
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So just want to give a big old shout out to Lamont Thomas.
He is now a dad to 12
after adopting this group of five siblings
that were in various foster homes.
So when he learned that these kids were all split up
in four different homes,
four different cities.
He's like, wait, these are all siblings.
They all need to be together, all five of them.
And he gathered them up and has been fostering him the last couple of years.
And now he officially just became their dad and adopted them.
Wow.
And so that makes him the dad of, like I said, 12.
So he's been a foster parent for a long time.
And get this.
The five kids that he just adopted way back in the day because he's been fostering for 30 years,
he fostered their dad.
Yeah.
Wow.
I know.
So that's how he learned of these kids being separated.
And he was like, you know what, I got this.
I'm going to take it all in.
And I'm not saying that it's like...
So he's their dad and their grandpa.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I guess so.
Plod twist.
Yeah.
That's a great story.
Yeah, he just said, I wanted to be the difference.
I wanted to make a difference by being a difference for these youth.
So shout out to him.
There you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Folks, it's your buddy and my...
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me go.
I'm going.
Over to Amy.
As we get that corny joke at the start.
time every morning.
The morning corny.
Which fruit is a vampire's favorite?
Which fruit is a vampire's favorite?
A nectarine.
Oh, that was pretty good.
It's a good Halloween joke.
Yeah.
Amy, it's almost not Halloween time anymore.
I know.
We're going to move on to Thanksgiving.
And then Christmas, I love the end of the year.
Because, like, there's always a theme with the jokes.
It's all themed jokes.
Yeah.
Okay, so a couple more days of Halloween jokes.
And then Thanksgiving.
Then Christmas.
That was a good one, though.
All right, here we go.
Let's do, oh, let's play the jingle out first.
That was the morning corny.
These are the biggest songs in country music as sang by Amy.
It's Tuesday's top three.
Are you ready, Amy?
Ready.
Okay, so these are the big ones.
All you have to do is sing the song.
Number three, Russell Dickerson, every little thing.
I'm talking about every little, every little, every little, every little,
Close enough. There it is.
Oh, you get that one.
Number three, good.
At number two, Chris Jansen, good vibes.
I'm talking about good vibes.
There it is.
And the number one song this week is from Cole Swindell.
Love You Too Late.
The number one song.
There's that one.
You haven't got this right one time.
Wait, wait up.
Wait a minute.
Wait, no, no, no.
Now I'm thinking, now I'm merging it.
But what's the one word that I need?
You're close.
Wake up.
No.
I'm sorry, you missed it again.
What does that say?
Wake up.
You don't know it.
I just am not hearing this song.
I don't know what that is saying because I listen to the radio station.
And I can sing you other songs.
I know.
But I am, it's just not.
Last week I really felt like that wide open was going to stick with me.
And just now all I could think of is wake up.
The biggest pop song is from Louis Capaldi.
Someone you loved.
You can do this one.
Your kids probably listen to this.
Someone you love.
I guess I kind of like the way you know the door you know the day plays.
Yes, Stevenson loves this song.
Yeah.
Yes.
And then finally, Lulnaz-Zex, Panini.
This is the number one hip-hop song.
I want a panini.
No, no, that's...
Heat it up.
All right, hit that.
Hey, Panini, don't you be a mini
He thought you wanted me to go
Why are you trying to be.
Let me throw a shout out to Kyle Ryan
Who pitches for the Cubs.
He just messaged me.
He was like, I'm listening to the Drap.
So I'm big Cubs fan.
Yeah, he came.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's a big listener.
That's awesome.
So, let me shout out to him.
Let me shout out to you guys
for listening and calling.
Let me put Billy on in Missouri
who has called the show.
Billy, what's happening?
How you doing?
Pretty good.
What do you want to say?
I have a question for Lunchbox
I want to know why he gets so upset
when other people are trying to cheat
but he's the biggest cheater on the show
First of all, we weren't cheating
I could have been feeding Amy bad songs
There's no rule against sharing information
I don't think you were cheating
But he was getting a little upset
Because he thought you were cheating
Lunchbox any answer to that
Why do you get mad on people cheat
But you cheat?
I never cheat on any game anywhere
All I play by the rules
I just don't think
When you're trying
The worst person gets eliminated
So if Amy has bad picks and she takes one that Bobby suggests,
then that kind of taints her.
It's giving her an advantage because she can choose from songs Bobby came up with.
To me, that's not fair in the game.
It doesn't if I'm strategically feeding her bad songs.
There are no rules against that.
Yeah, but that's a good point.
Billy, that's a great point.
I'm glad you call it because I have three people on saying the same thing.
You represent a big listening portion out there.
Yeah, I don't think he cheats either, but I think he stretches the rules as much as he can.
Well, I think we're all probably guilty of that, though, too.
And to be fair, I went with a song I had originally, my own.
Of course.
Billy, appreciate that call, man.
Yep, thank you.
See you, bud.
I have Morgan number one on the phone, who no longer works on the show because she works for me in a different capacity.
So she used to produce this show.
She moved over.
She works with me over in a different part of my world.
But whenever she was producing the show, her kind of swan song was,
the CMA Award that we just won for national broadcast.
And she put together the package.
You have to send off this air check and this package.
As she was sending it off, as she was leaving the show,
Eddie goes, hey, if we win the CMA, I'll give you my trophy.
Correct.
Well, we won the CMA, and now Eddie is backtracking now on giving her the trophy.
And then I saw on Instagram, she got a plaque from Bobby because he sent that out.
That's great.
She got an award.
There you go.
She's on right now.
Morgan number one is on.
Morgan, good morning.
Good morning.
So you guys have decided to have a game and battle it out for the trophy.
Are we doing this now?
No, no, no.
I'm actually going to tell you what the competition's going to be.
Okay.
Because she doesn't know either, right Morgan?
Oh, gosh.
I have no idea.
So she's going to come back into the studio, the return of Morgan number one, to battle Eddie
and what we're going to call the CMA Olympics.
Oh.
And whomever wins gets the big glass trophy.
Because Eddie, you did promise it to her?
Correct.
I did.
I said it.
I didn't promise that I said I would do it.
And then I saw a picture of Garthbrose holding like four CMAs one time.
I was like, that's kind of cool.
Like I can hold two CMAs and have it in my house.
So I kind of changed my mind a little bit.
But if she wants to play for it, we're going to do that.
Okay.
So it's the CMA Olympics for the trophy.
Yeah.
To make it fair, they'll go head to head in an Olympic-style competition.
Three different events.
Best two out of three wins.
The first is the talent portion.
You will perform your best 15-second tag.
Oh, my gosh.
What on earth?
You'll have 15 seconds to perform your best talent.
Oh, my God.
To the panel of judges in the studio.
Wow.
Second.
You have a talent.
He's shaking his head, but I mean, he can, like, play the guitar.
You're going to play a guitar for 15 seconds?
Secondly, there'll be a pop quiz.
Now, that'll be answers to our pop culture and current events question.
It's just knowledge.
Okay.
Best out of, you know, you have five questions.
We'll see how you guys do.
You'll be out of the room.
Same questions.
That'll be round two.
And the number three will be the award speech.
you each have to give your best 30 second acceptance speech
as if you were accepting the award on television.
Again, we will act as the judges.
Okay.
Oh my God.
So in the next week or so, we're going to bring her up
and you guys are going to compete for that trophy.
Which, by the way, you did say you would give it to her.
She graciously said she would come and compete for it.
I honestly, I thought maybe there's a chance we might not win it.
No, I get it.
That's why I said that.
Yeah, no, I know.
I hear you.
And then now we want it.
Morgan number one, how do you feel about that?
Who comes out.
You know what?
This sounds fun and it sounds equal.
I mean, aside from the talent portion
because Eddie can already like play guitar and sing.
But I'm down.
I think I can figure something out in a week.
Okay.
See, I don't think I'm going to go with singing or guitar.
That's what we expect from you.
Right.
I'm going to do something else.
All right.
So you have a bit to think about it.
Oh my gosh.
Maybe like not the end of this week,
but the end of next week is that we'll have it on.
So we'll give you guys a little over a week to figure it out.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
There we go.
It is the,
and we'll get the Olympics music
for every time we talk about it,
teasing it up.
Two out of three.
Yeah,
you got to win two out of three in the Olympics.
The CMA Olympics.
Morgan, number one,
how's everything else?
Are you going to St.
Jew with us today?
Yeah, I am.
I'm getting my costume already.
We're going to St.
Jude Children's Hospital today
to play music for the kids
and make Halloween bags.
And so you guys can maybe talk garbage.
Top trash the whole way.
On the way there.
How long is the bus right?
The bus is about four hours?
Oh, is it that long?
Well, the bus goes a little slower.
It's about...
Yeah, it's about 30 and a half in a regular car,
so it's probably going to take us about four.
Okay.
So, me, Eddie, Amy, Kaylee Hammock,
who sings Family Tree and her guitar player,
we're going. Eddie and now are going to play.
Kaylee and they're going to play,
and then we're going to decorate bags.
So, yeah, it'll be awesome.
All right, Morgan, number one, see later.
See you.
All right, bye-bye.
That's pretty fun, though, huh?
I'm a little nervous now.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
This is such a cool on this day in country music that I wanted to do it right now.
Check it out.
The Bobby Bones Show.
On this day in country music.
Today in 1983, which is 36 years ago, Islands in the Stream by Dolly and Kenny,
became the first country song to ever simultaneously go the top of country, pop, and adult contemporary charts.
It was number one on three different charts at the same time.
First song ever to do this, right?
In total, Islands in the Stream topped the pop charts for two weeks.
weeks, country for two weeks, AC for four weeks, and here is the fun fact.
Do you know who this is written by? Does anyone know?
No. By the way, turn it up, Raymond. Let me hear some more of this.
Come on.
It was actually recorded by somebody else.
Lionel Richie?
Willie Nelson?
No.
Kenny Rogers.
Let's play. He's in the song.
Well, I thought maybe he wrote it. I'm trying to think of who.
Let's play the artist who, who, Reginal wrote it. Go ahead.
He named that.
It's the Bee Gees.
Oh, wow.
The Beegis wrote Islands in the stream as an R&B song.
They were focused on songwriting around the time,
and he explained it was written from Marvin Gay.
However, it was recorded as a duet by Kenny and Dolly,
with them, all the Gip brothers,
BG's putting vocals on the backside of it.
Then they later recorded it again on a greatest hit's album in 2001,
which is what you're hearing there.
But they wrote it way before for Marvin Gay.
That song went around.
Isn't that crazy?
Wow.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Anyway, I'm a nerd.
I love that stuff.
Just bring it out.
You have our permission.
If you're somewhere
and you're talking about music,
don't credit us.
Yeah.
Just be like,
I bet you guys didn't even know
Island's the stream
was written by the Bee Gees.
They you know.
And then be like,
how'd you not know that?
Everybody knows that.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
A server in Ohio
had an amazing night on the job.
Her name's Samantha.
She got a $100 tip,
which, by the way,
I think only once ever
did I get a tip like that.
and it was my worst day at work too, I think.
You'll never forget it.
When I spilled all that food on that guy.
Followed by a $970 tip from the same generous, quote, angel customer.
When she tried to ask the stranger about it, he told her, hey, I'm happy to do it.
She was working at Mama Cantina in Ohio.
She's been there since 15.
And so they tipped her $100 on a $90 to a dollar bill.
And he goes, oh, I made a mistake.
And she's like, oh, yeah, it's probably $10.
And he goes, no, no, no.
and then you put another zero
and it ended up being a $1,000 tip.
Wow.
Isn't that crazy?
That's,
they don't have the guy's name
because he didn't want to be in the news.
He was just like,
I really like to do good things for people when I can,
and right now I can.
I think there's something to that.
It's not even about the $1,000.
It's about his message of,
I like to do nice things for people
when I can because I can.
Because we always can't.
I had, the Starbucks,
as close to here, it opens at 4.30.
And I was out there this morning,
and there's a guy that always sits out there,
and I don't know if you're really in a war.
I don't know what he's asking for money for.
But I really have cash.
And I don't need a prize,
but I had a $1 bill.
And I gave him the dollar this morning
because I never have cash.
And he was like, it made his whole morning.
He was like, oh, my goodness.
And so I actually could.
Again, I didn't give a thousand bucks,
but I was able to give him a dollar.
Right.
I was reading a story about this guy
who did a
he was
asked like a homeless guy
was panhandling in town
and he was like
people wouldn't even look at me
I did that
he did like a study
he's like hey can I just get a dollar
he said people wouldn't even look at him
much less give him money
and he said he got to the point
where I would just love for anyone
to have said hello
much less
give me a couple bucks
so I'll leave on that
if you can do something
like this guy said
do something
that'd be good
all right that's what's all about
that was tell me something good

Well, where do I go?
So last night, I guess pretty much all of you guys went to the CMA nominations dinner.
And good for you guys.
It's kind of fancy, too, huh?
Pretty fancy, yeah.
So I just get different stories because I didn't get to go.
I had a couple prior obligations, but I just get stories from every.
in weird ways about what actually happened.
It was awesome.
And I heard it was fun and nice and he said a fancy house and Keith Urban was there and he got up and spoke.
Great guy.
Kicks Brooks from Brooks and Dunn was there.
Dirk's was there, which is where Amy's story comes in first.
Amy?
Okay, so right when you walk in, there's a table handing out medals, little medallions for, like, but for the artists.
not we're there as broadcasters.
And you've already won, by the way.
Right.
And so these are the nominees getting their little medal for that.
And, you know, Dirk's comes in.
They put it around his neck and then he's over there talking to some other people.
And lunchbox is like so confused.
He's like, do we get medals or not?
Like just being really, and we're kind of by the metal table,
but we're in the entryway and we're in a circle and we're just talking about the medals.
And we're like, I don't think those medals are for us.
So then he just walks over to Dirk's and is like, hey, like I guess I didn't hear the whole conversation,
to ask if he got a medal or whatever, and then Dirk's, like, took his off and put it around
lunchbox, I think just to make him feel special because it was, like, awkward.
And I think he just was trying to be nice.
Like, here, here's a metal, lunchbox.
And then lunchbox kept it.
Like, wore it all night.
Took it home.
And left with it.
And I don't think that it was Dirk's intention for lunchbox to actually keep it.
But then it's too awkward to ask for it back.
You know, what I'm saying?
How do you guys feel that that went down?
Do you think Dirk's meant for him to keep it?
No, it was a joke.
phones. He was obviously, Dirk's obviously in a bind there. He's just like, okay, lunchbox,
trying to be funny. Here's a little metal, whatever. He'll probably give it back to me.
Lunchbox never gave it back to him. I don't even think he talked to Dirk's again the rest of the night.
All the artists are wearing there's all night long. And Dirk's wasn't. And Lunchbox is wearing it.
Lunchbox still has it right now. I just put it on. Yeah, I got it right here. What happened is,
I was talking to Dirk's and I said, oh man, we didn't get one of those. And he goes, here,
you can have mine. And he put it around my neck and he walked away. So what, I
I mean, he said, you can have mine.
I wonder if he's awake.
That was it.
And then I wore it the rest of the night and I was in all the pictures because we did a whole group photo.
And then I was like, I got to go to the bathroom.
Like, no, no, no.
Sir, you're a nominee.
You need to stay out here with a picture.
So I was like, oh, okay.
So I stood in a picture you weren't supposed to be in?
I guess so because I had this on.
People were stopping me like, no, no, you can't go inside yet.
You still got to take a picture.
Oh, my goodness.
So they thought you were like a songwriter or something.
Because you're obviously not a singer.
Yes, those are for the people that haven't won the award yet.
They're all nominated for the award.
Yeah, and according to mine, I'm up for male vocalists of the year, single of the year, and music video of the year.
That's probably special to him.
It is.
I really think.
Bones, it has a diamond on it.
Yeah, it has a whiskey diamond from like spot porchetta.
I mean, it was awesome.
He was so nice to give it to me.
And then just, I mean, he walked away and he never asked for it back.
And so I was like, dang, okay, cool.
So how do we feel about this?
Morgan, Eddie, Amy, you guys were all there.
Yes.
Do you feel like lunchbox should have kept it?
Oh no, I would give it back to Dirk's.
No, Bones, immediately give it back to Dirk's.
Dirk's, you're funny.
Here, here's your metal back.
I take out picture with him.
Even if Dirk's was like, hey, here, lunchbox, take mine.
I think he was still being like, okay, Pat, Pat, like lunchbox, you're special, wear mine for a second.
Okay, and then expected lunchbox to give it back, but he never did.
Morgan number two, your thoughts?
Yeah, he should definitely give it back.
I don't think, I don't think Dirk's cares that he took it because he was so cool about it every time he saw lunchbox.
but I do think he should definitely give it back to him.
I don't think he's going to ask for it.
Okay, that's the first thing that happened that Amy was like,
it's a little awkward.
Amy's a good indicator of awkward.
She's really the voice of reason here on the show anyway.
And so last night, big fancy dinner.
You guys all went to this fancy dinner.
You were invited because we won the CMA.
And I did not get to go, so I wasn't able to play parent.
And so.
But you normally would.
I would be like, guys, shout out.
Stop that.
Give that medallium back to the jerks.
Right.
So Morgan number two.
too brought a story about Eddie being awkward last night.
And I don't know what this is, so I cannot wait.
Go ahead.
Well, there's two.
So we were taking like a photo, a broadcast photo and of all the winners.
And we're all standing there together.
And we get called Eddie and crew.
And I was like, when are we Eddie and crew?
That was a weird one.
You running the show and I'm not around, Eddie?
I guess, boss.
I mean, they just go to me.
They're like Eddie and crew.
Not Amy Lunchbox and Eddie
Or Morgan number two
Eddie and crew
I was like that's kind of cool
I'll take it
And that was awkward for the team
Well we were just standing there
We're like
Is that us?
Is that supposed to be us?
It was really weird
And what was the other one at the table?
And then we were sitting at our table
And anytime somebody
Like remotely famous would come up
So like Jim Beavers
Came up and Lindsay L
and people come up and talk
And he'd be like
Hey we really need some bread
And I'm like
Is that supposed to be a joke?
Oh he was doing the joke
Where he thinks they're a waiter
Yes, and he was doing it to like every kind of famous person that walked up and I was like, this is really uncomfortable.
It's my go-to.
I didn't see you do that one to Nicole Kidman.
No, no, no, no, no, she didn't come to the table.
But I would have, excuse me, can I get some more bread here?
We need bread and butter, please.
That was my go-to, and if it works once, I'm going to do it all night.
And how many times think you did it?
Oh, five times.
That's kind of funny.
I didn't know he was doing that.
That's really funny.
I didn't hear that, but that's funny.
I missed that.
Maybe that's when I went to the bathroom to use my phone for a long time.
What was the awkwardness between Eddie and Morgan number two?
So this is before the dinner.
This is yesterday.
Eddie goes, hey, you know, would you like to go with me?
And Morgan number two goes, absolutely not.
I cannot do that.
That is against Girl Code.
You are married.
I am not allowed to go with you.
And he was like, we're going to a work.
She goes, that's Girl Code.
Can't do it.
I didn't understand her Girl Code.
Like, it's just a...
Did you think his wife would get mad?
He was just like joking with me and he was like,
I'll come pick you up, but I was like, stop it.
We're not, no.
Oh, Eddie was joking like it was a date?
Yeah.
And so I was just like, no.
That's a little awkward.
I was like, there's a lot of girl God.
That's a little awkward.
My wife canceled, so we had an extra one.
So we were like, hey, Morgan number two, do you want to come?
And then I was joking, like, what time we want to pick you up?
drinks before?
Eddie, that's awkward, man.
It was a joke.
That's awkward.
Amy.
That's a little weird, right?
A little bit.
So I was just, like, defending the situation.
I was like, I don't really know how to handle this right now.
So, Girl Code.
Oh, yeah.
Respectfully.
I feel like that makes sense, right, Lundra Box?
Okay, I didn't hear that.
All I heard him say is, do you want to go in her saying, girl code, girl code.
And I was like, I totally get to him joking around like, hey, baby, I pickets and drinks.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's a good baby.
Now you might be a little bit of a creeper.
Well, I text Dirk's.
He may not be at his phone.
I just said, hey, are you awake?
He hasn't responded.
So if he hits me back, we'll put him on.
I think either way, Lungemock should give the metal back.
You think Dirk's too cool to even say he wants it back?
He's not going to say.
He, yeah, it's, it's, I just don't think he's going to say.
I think regardless of Dirkson wants it or not, you just give it back.
Just to be safe, right?
Just to be safe.
I mean, he knew where I was last night.
He was there.
I mean, there wasn't like a thousand people there.
There was, you know, maybe 100 people.
So if he wanted it back, he could have come and found me.
He's the one that gave it to me and walked away, guys.
Like, he walked away.
No, you walked away.
Morgan number two.
If I'm not there, you have to be the one to manage them.
Wait, what?
Me?
I'm what?
But you don't manage well.
What do you mean?
You report back well.
Oh, you're total well is what he's saying.
You don't control the situation very well.
Like you're not assertive enough.
It's a great thing about you.
You're very good with the flow.
You're like the mom we walk all over.
Oh, we're still love.
Yeah, of course, we love our mom.
I think Morgan number two will pop you guys.
You have to be the new dad if I'm not there.
Okay.
Amy can be the mom.
You're the new dad.
Okay, I can do that.
I can keep these two in line.
That's fun, though.
Hey, good, good stories, guys.
Hey, thank you, man.
We go to have fun.
Anybody want to take a picture with my medal?
We can't go anywhere.
Let's do weddings making people crazy.
Here you go.
Time for another edition of Weddings Making People Crazy.
Oh, man.
The bride's cruel reason for asking her scarred cousin to be a bridesmaid,
imagine how pretty will look next to her.
Uh-huh.
The bride admits she only asked a cousin with facial scarring to be a bridesmaid
because she'll make the rest of the wedding party look prettier.
That's mean.
You'd like to have a talk with her and not even be mad, but go, like, what's wrong?
What's happening here where you need to feel this way?
And then how...
Like, where are you hurt?
Yeah, for sure.
And then she said this out loud.
Asked her reasoning, she said, imagine how pretty will look and snaps with her.
That's...
I always find that ugly people are only acting ugly because at some point,
They feel like they've been treated ugly.
You mean character ugly people?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
Not physically.
But yes, someone that acts ugly,
I just feel like somewhere she's hurting a little bit.
And now she's taking it out on somebody else.
How you feel about that?
I feel sad for the cousin.
And I feel weddings be making people crazy.
That's right.
There you go.
I was watching Dancing with the Stars last night,
and Lauren killed it last night.
She got all nines, I think.
Oh, wow.
She slipped during the dance.
What's happened is when they started that show this season,
they were like, we can't let someone like Bobby win the show again,
so we got to really judge people hard.
People watching the show don't like that.
And so now they're giving everybody really high scores.
And Lauren slipped.
And I texted her last night.
I was like, hey, you did great.
They probably scored you a little high because if you slip,
there's probably more of a deduction than one point.
But her dance was fantastic, except for the slip.
She bounced back.
She got up.
She made it again to next week.
and I remember Lauren after week one calling me and going,
I cracked a rib and not to talk about it on the air.
But she was like, what do you do?
Because I tore my shoulder a week one.
And I said, I'm not going to tell you what to do with your body,
but I'll tell you what I did is I went to an athletic doctor
whose goal is to get you back in the game.
And I just got shots.
Just numb, numb, numb, numb.
And so not only did that one, I think she's cracked four ribs total.
Wow.
How? Here's a clip of our talking about it last night.
All I've been trying to do is pretend like my ribs aren't broken.
Are they broken?
I fractured the one on the left, the first week of the show.
And I haven't had these X-rayed, but they don't feel great.
And I can see her wince during the dances too.
However, if she's killing it, we shall come together and help her through the end of this.
but I'm so proud of her for hanging in there
and when you're moving around
like the ribs, that hurts.
Yeah, that's more joke.
Yeah, I would just say everything.
Like, how is she even doing it?
When she cracked the first one,
she was crying when she called me.
She was like, I can't leave.
Did she say how she did it?
I guess it was rehearsal or something?
She, like, fall or?
Again, it's medical stuff,
so I don't want to say too much
except for what I know.
I'm just like, gosh,
dancing with the star stuff is no joke.
Well, I told her, I said,
tore my shoulder, got shots and numbed it.
It wasn't the way I'm recommending it.
It's what I did.
I fractured the top of my foot.
Same thing.
Numb me up.
Because the doctor said it's not going to get worse.
If you can manage pain, and that's what she's doing.
I cracked some res playing football in high school.
And the doctor was like, well, it's not going to get worse,
but I was like, no, it hurts too bad.
I should sit out.
Please.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was like, oh, very good.
I'm good.
I'm good.
I'm good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So Lauren made it through.
I was super pump for her.
It's just so fun to watch her.
And it was the Halloween dances.
And so I posted some of my Halloween dance on my Instagram and Mr. Bobby
Bones, if you want to see that.
So between watching Dancing with the Stars and watching this show on Amazon called Modern Love that Eddie recommended me...
Yeah, you watched it.
I'm telling you.
Eddie, I went into the show going, all right.
It's 30 minutes.
Let me watch it.
I respect Eddie enough to watch his review and recommendation.
Let me watch it and tell him it's not for me.
About halfway through it, I'm like, oh, I love the show.
Crying like a baby.
What did you like about it?
I've watched five of the eight episodes.
Yeah, which episode make you, made you cry.
One and two.
One and two.
That's amazing.
Like crazy.
And they're all different.
They're thematically different.
The stories are different.
Some of them have music, some don't.
There's nothing in common with the episodes.
There's like big time actors.
The actors are different.
Everyone from Tina Feyn's in one of them to Anne Hathaway.
There's really famous people in a lot of these episodes.
They have nothing to do with each other.
It's like black mirror except for the darkness.
Yes.
Like black mirror, the episodes have nothing to do with each other.
Different run lengths.
Love.
And this whole show Modern Love, it's essays people have written and about their life to this columnist and they get printed in the paper.
And they've been, it's so good.
Morgan number two, I know you think you're dead inside like me.
You'd love it.
Really?
Yeah.
How many, like how many have you watched and you're like?
Five of eight.
And they're all so different.
After the first one, did you start crying?
Or did it take a few?
In the middle of the first one.
So like, I've watched them and I haven't.
It's about a doorman.
And the doorman one?
Yes.
The father figure.
Are you kidding me?
Okay.
So it was like something,
it must be stirring up something.
Because I don't have a dad.
I haven't cried.
I know.
Boom.
Yes.
Okay.
There you go.
And that's what I was trying to tell you that love shows up in different ways.
Yeah.
As you're learning in this.
So I have a dad and the dad stuff always gets me.
And then the second one,
I don't want to say too much about the show.
But the second one,
I'm going to say something.
I need you to keep this safe space for me, Amy.
Okay.
Because I know how you do.
And you do it loving.
I'm not ready to review.
I'm not ready.
You are ready. You're ready. You can do it.
Amy, no judgment.
No judgment at all.
I'm not ready right now.
Why?
I've seen the second one.
I'm trying to think of what you're about to say.
Well, it's called when Cupid is a prying journalist,
and it's about a couple who gets together and then nod and it's whatever.
It's a good one.
I'm just not ready to share.
Well, I had thoughts when I watched that one.
I'm curious what you...
Go ahead.
No.
Okay.
There you go.
You say.
I'm just not ready.
I don't feel safe right now.
This room is doesn't feel as safe as it used to.
I know where he's going with it. I know where he's going with it.
Yeah, me too, I think.
I know exactly where you're going with it.
An ex.
Uh-huh.
Wait, what?
No, yeah.
You think what?
The way that story goes could happen with you and an ex.
Like, you may meet her at a zoo again one day.
Right.
I don't go to zoos.
I don't like them locking animals.
Okay, that's not the point, bones.
I see zoos and I just think about the poor animals.
Not about the zoo.
I know.
Okay, here's what I was going to say.
You're deflecting.
That did make me text an ex.
I know.
I know.
Not in any way to be like, I just was just like, hey, I was watching, it doesn't matter.
The one that we're thinking?
No, I'm not saying what?
Bones, and what did you say?
I miss you?
No, no, doesn't like that.
But.
I knew that this show was going to change you.
Yes.
Yeah.
Okay, this is Safe Space.
Did she reply?
It's not Safe Space. You just act like you won the lottery.
No.
Did she reply?
Not really.
Oh.
But you don't even know what she asked it was.
So she did the double tap response, like a.
Like a...
I just had to see the context of the message.
Anyway, the show is so good that it moved me to create action.
Mm-hmm.
So good.
Wow, you responded.
And not even for a way to go, we...
It just, it's called Modern Love.
I did cry in the first two episodes.
I thought episode three was good, didn't cry.
Was that the Ann Hathaway one?
That's one you love the most?
I thought, yeah, I thought that one was like, yes, because it just addressed something that we don't really,
And some people don't know a lot about me,
don't talk about and how difficult it must be.
So anyway, and that's about bipolar.
The Tina Fey one was my least favorite.
Me too, because we're not at that stage of our life.
I'm there, but it's like that.
Oh, you are.
Come on.
Oh, you've been in with your wife a long time.
Well, watch it.
It's called Modern Love.
It was just, it just kind of knocked my socks off.
All of them for different reasons.
I want to watch more, but I have to watch whatever is a wonderful life.
Your movie for Eddie.
Or beautiful.
Oh, stop it.
You're going to love it, Amy.
I cannot wait.
Bones, it makes me so happy you watch this.
And now, Amy, I can't wait for you to watch.
If Eddie hits this Italian movie, right, you're forced to watch?
What's it called?
It's a beautiful life.
Yeah, because he was right with modern love.
I agree, Eddie.
Props to you.
It's so good.
But, I mean, it is an English, and this next movie is not.
Just give it a chance.
It's all I am.
We were talking earlier about this award dinner of the show got to go to,
where it was the winners of the CMA broadcast awards,
which we won.
Thank you to you guys.
All the nominees for the CMA Awards that are coming up on ABC in November.
And all the nominees get a medal.
And Dirk spently had his, it was at a table and lunchbox side.
He should get a medal.
So Dirk's put his medal on Lunchbox as a, it's kind of a joke.
And so lunchbox is like, no, he gave it to me.
And we were like, hmm, you should probably give it back.
And so I was texting with Dirk's.
And I said, hey, you want this medal back?
And he says, well, I don't win the actual awards.
So the medal is kind of my win.
and then Amy was texting him.
And he said, kept waiting for him to bring it back over, dot, dot, dot.
And then, so I just replied, I just replied awkward and he replied, really was.
So, but here's the thing.
So Lickbox has this medal.
He should have given it back.
He has it today.
This is the final note on it.
He said, Derek said, Dirk spently said, let's see what happens at the CMAs.
If I win, he can keep it.
Yeah!
But he really wants it back.
But I mean, either way, even though Dirk is being nice in saying that,
like I would just, you just give it back.
And then let him give it back to you.
Right.
Well, he gave it to me.
As a joke for pictures.
It's like someone going, you want to wear my championship ring?
And you put it on and you're like, wow.
I guess I'm a champion now.
Just as an update because I said I was going to text him.
That's the deal.
What do we learn from that whole bit earlier?
Can't take us anywhere.
No, really.
It's not just that.
It's a whole arrangement of awkward events at a fancy dinner last night.
I didn't know it was awkward.
Well, we tried to tell you at the thing.
It was awkward.
We were like, you should go over there and give it back to him.
And you were like, no, no, he gave it to me.
And I was like, I think he was just being.
It got like a diamond in it.
It does.
Let me say this, by the way.
Yesterday was the groundbreaking ceremony for specialist Scotty West.
They were built in his house that we were able to get together and like build the house
because he was injured fighting in Afghanistan.
Was he in Afghanistan?
Or Iraq.
It was one of the two, because we've done two.
Yes.
But he came back and was in a wheelchair and couldn't move around his house.
So we came together and we were able to build him a house with all of our listeners on the show.
And so I want to, again, shout out to you guys because you're able to do great things.
And we appreciate what you do and you allow us to be your platform.
And so we're able to build a hero a house.
and I was looking on Instagram stories yesterday
and they had tagged us in it
and they started the groundbreaking
literally building him a house.
I know.
Because the listeners on this radio show
and through Pimp and Joy.
And so I just wanted to acknowledge
that we know we wouldn't be here
getting to have a talk about stealing
an artist's diamond metal.
Right.
Or building a hero at home.
Right.
If it wasn't for our listeners.
One is more trivial than the other.
Yes.
But I just, I'm so grateful
that you guys allow us to come into your lives
and your phones
and your cars, and that we can do stuff like this together.
If it's building heroes' homes,
if it's helping kids that are fighting childhood cancer,
if it's a wheelchair basketball team,
making sure that they have the proper equipment.
There's just so much that we're able to do as a show,
and we know we wouldn't be able to do it without you.
So that's all.
Yeah, so if you wear Pimp and Joy,
or you see someone wearing it,
or you use the hashtag,
like just know that it's doing a lot of good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just thought it was awesome.
So cool.
On another note,
I did see an influencer gave a restaurant
a one-star review because they didn't offer her a discount in exchange for an Instagram post.
Ooh.
Oh.
You know the story, lunchbox?
Yeah, so she's like a, she has a bunch of followers on Instagram, so she goes to this
nice restaurant, and she called the manager over and was like, you know, I'm going to post
about this on Instagram and your food was really good.
And then she said, when she got the bill, nothing was taken off.
She didn't set it up ahead of time?
No.
Oh.
She just went in and talked about, and, you know, brought the manager over and she said, so I gave him a one-star
review because they didn't give me a discount, which if you do offer them, you know, free advertising
on Instagram, you would think you get a discount. There's nothing in the rules that say you have to,
if she had set it up ahead of time and they were like, yes, come in. We'll definitely give you a
discount. And they didn't. Different story. However, she got there and just expected it. You can't
do that. I don't care how many followers you have. And then that looks bad for the business. That's going to
hurt their bottom line of people go and look at the reviews and there's a one star review.
And the girl was like, the dinner was great.
But had you give them one star.
That's weird.
What's happening with people?
I have no idea.
What's wrong with people?
What's wrong with people?

Let me talk to Brittany in D.C.
Hey, Brittany, what's happening?
Hi. How are you?
Pretty good. You're on the air. What do you want to say?
Well, first of all, I do live in D.C.,
but, Bobby, I'm from Arkansas from Litter Rock,
so I just had to say that.
We're probably related.
I love you.
Thank you.
Huh?
We're probably related.
We are probably related.
I wanted to tell Amy that she needs to bite the bullet and watch A Beautiful Life.
It is the best, one of the best movies I've ever seen.
Oh, I mean, I have to watch it.
Eddie has.
It's done.
Put in a movie called A Beautiful Live in Italian and Amy has to watch it as part of our bit.
So here's the thing.
Go ahead.
Here's the thing.
I have learning disabilities.
I'm dyslexic.
The thought of watching a movie with subtitles was so scary to me.
And I was actually kind of mad about it.
And within 15 minutes, I totally forgot I was reading.
See?
Oh, my goodness.
Well, Eddie did nail modern love.
Yes.
And I'm telling you, this movie, guys, it's life changing.
I'm not going to forget that I'm reading.
If you love it, Amy, I'll end up watching it.
Okay, I bet.
Yes, I hope that you do if I love it.
But, I mean...
Tomorrow, Morgan,
Number Two will review the movie that I had her watch, which was Man on the Moon,
the story of Andy Kaufman, my favorite performer ever.
You ever see that one, Brittany?
I have not seen that one.
Oh, that's so good.
My favorite.
But I have seen Sweet Home Alabama, and it is fabulous.
But you've watched it lately.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Bobby, stop.
I'm just saying they made a good guy a villain, and then once he gets dumped at his wedding,
he just walks off like, oh, that's cool.
I get it.
It would never happen.
I felt bad for the dude.
Maybe as somebody who gets dumped.
That's what it felt like.
Yeah, maybe.
All right, Brittany.
It's so good.
Appreciate that call.
All right, thanks, guys.
Kelly Clarkson and John Legend are remaking Baby It's Cold Outside.
Oh, wow.
Because it's creepy?
Yeah, it's so awkward.
Wait, you mean they're redoing the lyrics?
Oh, so it won't be creepy anymore.
Right.
They're going to do the less than creepy version.
So the new version makes it very clear there is nothing non-consensual going to happen.
Yeah.
Do we have clips of the new song?
I don't.
No, there are no clips of it?
So Kelly says,
Do I have the...
This is confusing because I don't have the...
They're at least a couple of lines.
Yeah, I see the lines, but I don't...
I need the old version up next to the new version.
What will my friends think?
I think they should rejoice.
If I have one more drink, it's your body, it's your choice.
They say that?
Okay.
Because, yeah, in the older version, he's basically like forcing her to continue drinking.
Who knows what that is?
She's drinking anyway.
Yeah.
I really can't stay.
He's like, no, no, you can't.
here, sip this.
She does say, what's in this drink?
What's in this drink?
There's, I really can't stay.
Then he goes, but baby, it's cold outside.
Then she goes, I got to go away.
Then he goes, I can call you a ride.
There we go.
Oh.
Nice.
Then she goes, this evening has been.
He goes, so glad you dropped in.
So very nice.
And he goes, time spent with you is paradise.
My mom will start to worry.
Then he goes, I'll call a car and tell him to hurry.
Oh.
Oh.
Yeah, so that comes at good, because you can't,
that's such a good, and the melody's so good,
but you almost can't play it anymore because it does seem very.
Do you think this will, it will just take the other song out of play?
No.
But here's the deal.
Back then, I don't know how old this, I don't know what they were referring to.
Okay, but so maybe when you were older, you lived with your parents longer,
so she could be 21, but she's, her mother's going to worry.
It's just creepy anyway.
Regardless of that, it was just a creepy song.
So Netflix is going to let you play shows at faster speeds if you watch it on your phone.
You know how when you listen to a podcast, you can turn it up to like 1.5 times speed.
I know.
And everybody talks like that?
Yeah, but people go, well, I'm actually consuming more information by listening to people talk faster, even though it's a little higher.
Well, Netflix is going to go, all right, you can do 1.25 or 1.5 times normal.
They're testing out speed controls.
Wow.
Well, and all of the showmakers and filmmakers are up.
upset by this. They're like our shows are not supposed to be consumed this fast. But it's the world
we live in. I'm telling you, I'm on TikTok, right? I watch videos all the time. If a video is over 15
seconds, I'm like, oh, bored next. Oh, I thought that they couldn't be. The deal with TikTok is
they had to be 15 seconds. They have 60 second ones too. Oh. So they can be up to 60 seconds.
But if it's like over 15, I'm going, oh my goodness, what are we doing here? Like, come on,
people, move it. We're just in this culture where it's like, give me, give me, give me, give me.
So. Oh, yeah, I'll watch some Netflix on double time.
Will you?
Yes, I do podcasts that way.
Whenever I hear a, like, some people I only listen to them on podcasts and I hear their voice at faster speed.
So then when I hear it not faster speed, I'm like, well, that's weird.
Man, they sure do talk deep.
Right.
All right, let's see what's happening today.
Oh, we're going to St. Jude.
Yeah, St. Jude with you guys.
So, yeah, that's all day.
We, you know, got a tour bus and two tour buses.
And so we're going to head over to Memphis
and Eddie and I are going to play some music for the kids
and decorate Halloween bags and dress up.
I'll be in my awesome costume.
Everybody's going to recognize, obviously, Recyclops
from that one scene in the office.
Let's see about that.
Yeah.
This costume is very extra.
There's just so many things.
I've got knee pads, elbow pads, helmet,
shoulder pads,
a t-shirt had to draw in there.
But I've committed to the character.
And I'm going to bring in the good word of recycling.
Yeah.
through the superhero of Recyclops.
Good.
Thank you.
And Amy will be...
You'll see.
Oh, you don't...
Bones.
That's me. Yeah, what's up?
I'm wearing bones.
Oh, I know.
What's that?
And then, okay, fine, I'll tell you.
And then I have a name tag that says, my name is Bobby.
Get it.
But then the kids are going to be like, Bobby.
And I'll be like, what up?
And then I'll be like, Bones.
Listen, whatever.
I don't have to do the name tag thing, but I...
If you made it, wear it.
Somebody made me feel bad about wearing a skeleton.
Who did that?
No, nobody, I didn't.
These two.
I did.
Oh, Litchbox and Eddie?
Yeah.
Because you weren't a skeleton to a hospital?
Yes.
Just had that feeling.
I don't think that's a bad thing.
I just had a weird feeling when she said it.
That's it.
Yeah.
We didn't try to make you feel bad.
So now I'm not a skeleton.
I'm Bobby Bones.
Oh, switched it.
All right.
We'll see it tomorrow.
