Starting point is 00:02:55 There's a guy who won the lottery for the sixth time. and he hit for $250,000. Brian Moss from Idaho won a quarter million dollars on the Idaho Lottery Scratch game, a $250,000 crossword game on Thursday, January 28th. But again, it's his sixth win. I would investigate this guy.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Not saying he's doing anything wrong, but how is somebody winning six times? What does he know? Who does he know? You know, they did that forensic investigative of bank accounts where they can go through and tell how these, That forensic account this guy's life. Who does he know that knows somebody at the lottery commission
Starting point is 00:03:33 that knows what ticket to buy? Because there's no way six times. This is straight luck. Poor lunchbox over here can't win a freaking one. I can't win one. It's disgusting. This guy makes me sick. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:03:44 It's quoting the article. Oh, people have given me money to buy them a ticket and those tickets don't seem to win. Yeah, okay. Wink-wink. He winks at the camera. He says that. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Yeah, that's it. Congrats, guy. Did you ever watch the McMillions? It was one of the best documentaries I've watched. Really? I haven't seen it, but it reminds me. He's not doing anything wrong. I'm sure that six times is legit.
Starting point is 00:04:08 To me, I would just go, we should check the guy out. Because it seems like a lot. But it makes me think of the McMillians where they had kind of rigged the system. Rig the system. All of us in the public, we never had a chance to win. That's how crazy is. You go to McDonald's buying those things thinking you have a shot to win, and it was already gone. Winners were already taken away.
Starting point is 00:04:26 I was buying them. It was awesome. Yeah, it's a great game. Monopoly and McDonald's, two of my favorite things. Yeah, but I never got to get on boardwalk or that one color. You know, you're like, where is it? You watched it, though. Watched it.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Anybody else watch it? So good. Is it good? It's pretty good. Yeah, it's weird to see, like, legit, hardcore FBI agents. Investigating. They're interviewing these, like, they look like what to be, like, an everyday, you know, up Northeast type family.
Starting point is 00:04:57 And you would never, they were not suspect looking to me at all. And it was just interesting they were having to investigate this McDonald's scheme. Should I watch it? I think it's pretty interesting. You'd be fascinated how they got away with it, how they did it, the whole circle of people. I thought it was pretty good. The average audience score is 67% in Rotten Tomatoes. I would say I'm not as passionate about it as lunchbox, but you actually may like it.
Starting point is 00:05:23 But he loves this kind of thing. I like scams. It's interesting to see how the scam worked. You could get away with a scam. Would you scam people? Absolutely. Why? Who do you take care of in the world?
Starting point is 00:05:35 You've got to take care of yourself. No one else is going to take care of you unless you take care of yourself. Let me ask this question again. If you could scam random folks out of their money and never be caught. Scam. Illegal. You're not going to be caught. Ponzi.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Ponzi scheme. I mean, if I get to live the life, like, why not? Right? Unethical. Immoral. Like, you could. face prison. But he wouldn't. No, no, no, that's the game.
Starting point is 00:06:00 What if it's a 95% chance that you don't get caught? No, I don't know if I could do it for 90%? Listen, I am I don't think I could be locked in a cell so that 5% chance. You can. No, no, what I'm saying is I don't think I could take it. So the 5%
Starting point is 00:06:16 I think I would say no. Okay, but 100%. Yes. That's crazy. What happened to him as a kid? No, no. What happened? No, no. You guys are just scared to admit it. I wouldn't. No, actually, I've had people kind of being like, hey, I know I can, you know, cut some money off this thing. How's that? And I'm like, I have no one nothing to do with this.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Why not? If you're going to get away with it, what's... That's not what life's about to me, getting away with stuff. That's like saying you work at a huge... Like, like, what's that movie? Office space. Yes. If they take a couple pennies from every transaction and it hurts nobody in the long run, you're telling me and you wouldn't do it?
Starting point is 00:06:53 It does hurt people in the long run. Who? The people that didn't get the two pennies. Ah, you got the one guy that's already a billionaire, I ain't worried about him. So again, it's okay to be stolen from if you're rich. Oh, my God. Is that what you're saying? No, but also, I want to answer this.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Is it okay to take from people that have more? I mean, it's more acceptable. So a lot of people would say that you have more. I have more than some people. Yes, so is it okay? But is it okay for people to take from you? I'd hope not. I would hope they wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:07:25 It gets all soft. That wouldn't be right. I mean, guys. It starts using the same words, immoral. Like, unethical. Like, do you never look at a crime and hope they get away with it? What? There are victimless crimes that I do go, wow, that was really smart.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Yes. And how about that? They rigged the system. I don't know that it's for me. Like, like the McDonald's thing. I have such a conscience. The McDonald's thing, what? When no one's getting hurt.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And these people are spending money trying to win this, and they have no chance at it. You possibly didn't win because of somebody. Somebody could have cost you a million dollars. That was somebody taking from you. That could have been yours. Yeah. I mean, I see your point on that.
Starting point is 00:08:08 But what I'm saying is, like, I saw one on unsolved, and maybe his unsolved mysteries, where the guy robbed a bank, and they never caught him because he had some plan, and no one got hurt. And I'm like, hey, you know what? Pretty cool. He robbed a bank.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Could it traumatized the bank teller. Oh, excellent point. Didn't commit suicide. Yeah, that's the kind of trauma. I didn't think about all that. Okay. You guys go a couple layers deeper than I did. I just saw the plan of it.
Starting point is 00:08:36 I was like, man, that's kind of interesting how he did that. Lunchbox is okay as long as you, if you break into a bank and steal a bunch of money, but you didn't encounter anybody. Let's say the bank is closed for the night and they break into the vault and they steal a bunch of money. You cool with that? Like Ocean's 11.
Starting point is 00:08:50 No. I'm not cool with that because all that does is promote more of that from them. And eventually somebody's going to die. Nobody ever just robs the bank Gets fully away with it and goes Yep, I'm full Right That's a good meal
Starting point is 00:09:01 I'm done I'm going to bed No they want more Yeah of course It was easy Why not do more Sort of like I saw one Where this guy got a job
Starting point is 00:09:08 With an armored truck company And I think you can go with It may have been Vegas And he learned the route And everything Because he's the driver And so he drops one guy off At a casino
Starting point is 00:09:17 And he's supposed to go You know Circle back around And get him But he just drove off with the truck Unloaded all that money Never been heard from again Unreal!
Starting point is 00:09:24 Like that is a victimless crime that is incredible. Well, that's not a victimless crime. Somebody is the victim there. But they have insurance. No one got hurt. Again, an insurance premium would go up. And that's their money. For everybody, once, regardless, you would like to scam somebody?
Starting point is 00:09:41 I mean, if it would make my life easier and I could just retire, yeah. Would you retire right now? Yeah. If you could. What would you do all day? Nothing. Whatever. Whatever I wanted.
Starting point is 00:09:53 That's the whole point of being retired. Like you wouldn't like clocks you could just throw all your clocks out Interesting that's why your mind goes first Just throwing your clocks in the trash Yeah because you don't have to be anywhere at a certain time You can do whatever you want you can just What about your kids school? You know you gotta get in places No they can be late
Starting point is 00:10:11 Oh yeah Sorry teach how we threw our clocks out at our house Did you hear him? My kids don't have to go to school I'm retired I mean they're not even in school I mean they go to daycare but that ain't really school You're not learning anything I guess maybe you do it
Starting point is 00:10:25 If you're retired technically you don't need daycare anymore. You can just watch the kids. Or you can just have someone like if you have enough money, hey, come with us. Like don't people take their, what are they called those nannies? Well,
Starting point is 00:10:34 retired doesn't mean rich, by the way. Retired means you've saved enough money and you've kind of sliced it off per year to live within your means. Right, exactly. You have it planned out. Oh. But also you have said before on the show
Starting point is 00:10:46 that people that take nannies on trips or vacations. No, I'm saying if I'm living on an island, I need a nanny. Cool. Okay. What did he say? I don't remember. He said before, like,
Starting point is 00:10:55 He's like, that just seems so ridiculous to me. Like, if you go on a trip, that's family time. You should be with the family. And so to take a babysitter so that you can go. Yeah, 100%. I agree with that. If we're just going on a weekend vacation and you take a babysitter, you're a terrible person.
Starting point is 00:11:07 What if it's a week vacation? A terrible person. A week, same thing. If you scam people out of money, you're not a terrible person. But if you take a babysitter so that you can go out on a date and the kids stay back and go to sleep and you have a sitter there, you're a horrible person. If you're going on vacation with your family, you're going with your family.
Starting point is 00:11:24 You don't go to pawn your kids. Like if you're going to see family and the family wants to watch the kid, fine. But if you're going to, like, if you're going to Montana for a family vacation and you have to take a babysitter's or you don't have to be around your kids. But that's you now. What if you are the billionaire? No, if a billionaire, I can have a live-in nanny. That don't matter. There you go.
Starting point is 00:11:44 See, it changes. He's just so not consistent with what he's saying. It all just depends if he's rich fantasy lunchbox. Or realistic. It's like normal. Because like for a second, I'm like, wow, you know, he just wants to connect with this family. He thinks that's ridiculous. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:02 But if I go on vacation. What if I'm a billionaire? I don't care at all to connect. I never see my kids. Who hears? What if I'm a billionaire? If I'm a billionaire. If I'm a billionaire, I go on vacation, I wouldn't take the nanny.
Starting point is 00:12:12 I'm going on family vacation. You didn't say that, though. Thank you for your time. You're welcome. And listen, you guys, you guys. See, this is somebody. I know Eddie would be. all chilling on an island too, but he tries to act like this is all like, I'm so cool and I love
Starting point is 00:12:27 working. Man, shut up, you hit the water. You'd be out of here too. I'd be on the island with you, bud. See, that's what I'm saying. But my kids would obviously be there with me. But here's the question I have. I think you guys are a bit different.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Eddie, would you have clocks. No, dude, I would keep my clocks. I'm not throwing those away. This is Mr. Late. He's Mr. Late. I knew it. Get out of here. Get rid of the clocks.
Starting point is 00:12:45 A bride-to-be sparks outrage online after asking her new husband if she can hug her ex-boyfriend one final time, just seconds after saying I, do. What? That's weird. Do we have audio of this? There's no audio just story. I saw this online. A bride to be stunned guests and her new husband when she asked if she could hug her ex-boyfriend one final time right after saying
Starting point is 00:13:04 I do. This TikTok user posted a video that was taken at her wedding reception and showed the shocking moment she said, hey, do you mind? And he did. Gives a handshake. And then she's like, can I hug him? And she does. Thoughts? Well, I mean, obviously he was invited to the wedding, so that's a little weird in the first place, I guess, if you're going to be, have a problem with them hugging.
Starting point is 00:13:29 But the first thing to think about after you get married is, I want to hug this dude one last time. I know. That's strange. I'm looking at him hog right now. The clip has over 2.5 million views. Has a divided opinion amongst social media users. Yeah, everything on social media has a divided opinion. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Everything. Yes. What the crap, man? The Internet's making me mad lately. Really? What else? Like what specifically? people.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Oh, yes. That have opinions. Yes, a lot of them out there. I guess that's just the dog stuff because we have a new dog. I posted a picture because our dog, the new dog, Stanley doesn't, he's growing out of it.
Starting point is 00:14:03 At night, sleeps in a crate. It's a big crate. I can't believe you put your dog in jail. Our dog is learning a schedule right now. Otherwise, she's a puppy. She was way younger than we thought when we got her. Her baby teeth still haven't fallen out. So we're dealing with that
Starting point is 00:14:18 where she was probably a little too young, but again, they saved her off the streets. And so people are just killing us over this dog stuff. We were talking about the whistle training earlier. People hit me about that. Just give me a break. Sorry, man. Give me a break.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Break him off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar. Thank you very much. Let's see. Ramundo's winning song pitch. Are we ready for this? Yes. Yeah. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Whoa. A little puberty. Late in the day. Late in the day. All right, I have three of them and then an honorable mention for my potential songs. So you're not pitching us the honorable mention? I can. Okay, don't tell us.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Mix them up. Don't tell us which one's which. Okay. How many Sam Hunt? There is one of Sam. Ramundo has four songs up here. If he wins a game, he needs to have a winning song. So what is your song number one?
Starting point is 00:15:09 This is Sam Hont House Party. Let's practice that like Ray just won a game. Okay, ready? There he is. Raymundo! What's the game! I like it. That's great.
Starting point is 00:15:24 That does sound good. It really does. Okay. What's next? This one's going to be random to you guys, but to me it's one of my karaoke's that I go to. It's kid rock ball with a ball. Ball with a ball with a ball to bang to bang diggy diggy, diggy. Okay, let's see how it sounds.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Ready? He won that game. Right. No, I like that. Sounds like a wrestler coming into a ring. I do kind of like that. I'm not feeling that one. Eddie, don't clap.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Just listen. Okay. Ready, ready to it again. That one a little hard. Okay, this one... No, no, no, let me do that one again. Okay. Because I want Eddie to hear it without yelling and clapping.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Okay, gotcha. Ray Bundo, that's a boy, yeah! Two strip bars for me, dude. Me honest with you. I say no. Okay. Okay, go ahead. Next one, Ray?
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yeah, this is just one. I don't know. It's a summertime one. You like being on a boat. Okay, okay. Let's see how that goes. Wow. And the trivia champion for today is Ray Bundo.
Starting point is 00:16:32 I like that one, too. I'm not feeling that. I'm three for three on Ray's song. Oh, great. You have one more? Yeah, one. This is the one I wrote. This is vacation.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I don't know if it's going to hit well. How much did you write? We were both in on it. Me and Dodd, 50, 50. Oh, and Bruce Wall. So third. I forgot about Bruce, man. More Bruce.
Starting point is 00:16:52 And our winner is Ray Bundo! Are you down for a vacation? I don't feel that one. That's the only one I don't feel. It brings it down. It's not. Yeah, we should. I should have done some bass in that one.
Starting point is 00:17:06 The bass guy's guys. I don't hate it, but I do have my vote. Okay. We'll judge by audience applause. Sam Hunt House Party. Yeah. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Kid Rock ball with a ball. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. I'm on a boat. Lonely Island.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Whoa, dude. There's a lot of people in here. No, that's two people. Vacation. Turkey.
Starting point is 00:17:45 I got in here. Woo! Okay. So we have two people. It's either house party or I'm on a boat. We'll have five votes here. Mike D. can be the fifth vote. House party?
Starting point is 00:17:56 Scream again? No, just say a vote. Yes, I. Aye. Oh, Morgan number two comes in. Well, now we have six. Now we have an even number. So scuba's got a...
Starting point is 00:18:04 Okay. All right. And then I'm on a boat. I. I. Okay, now it's three, three. Scuba? Oh, for me?
Starting point is 00:18:10 Oh, House Party. Hold on. Don't say anything. For me, my personal favorite is going to end up being this one right here. You can't do that. Oh, I can't just pick what I want. That's what I want. He throws it all off again. We've got to start over.
Starting point is 00:18:25 He's like, I'm going on vacation. It's either I'm on a boat or house party. I'll go with Lonely Island boys on my boat. Yeah, there you go. Hit that one. Freezing. There he is. That's a lot.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Everybody look at me because I'm sailing on a boat. Ramundo, that is your. winning song. Yeah, and I had to edit out some swear words so it gets a little messy here a second. We don't need all that. We can just play the hook over and over again. What song was your one you didn't think would get picked? Vacation, because it just didn't hit right away. Yeah, I want about hits. Scoob it goes, how about this one? No, that wasn't even in the finals. That's the best one. All right. I did like Ba-W-a-Bah, though. That one was good, but the rest of the show hated it. Okay. We got that covered.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Amy has something to give me to give Caitlin Oh yeah Well no let me grab it Close your eyes No I don't do close your eyes You don't? Here's what I don't do
Starting point is 00:19:21 I don't do, close your eyes And I don't do this game That Caitlin tries to do When she goes I need you to do me a favor But I need you to promise me You'll do it before I tell you what it is Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:19:30 No Okay fine Okay fine catch Ooh good catch And you wanted to close his eyes Did you see what that was? This is a thong Yeah it is
Starting point is 00:19:39 I don't want this Why don't have to be It's not for you Like giving her underwear from somebody else? And why is it in a box? Where did this come from? It says bride on it when you open it up. It's clean, bone.
Starting point is 00:19:51 I don't care. God. No, no. We have a mutual friend, Amy, and like she has those. There's stuff that she... You know what? Do you guys want to pass panties? Give it to me.
Starting point is 00:20:01 I'll get my wife. No, she was like, hey, I'm discontinuing this stuff. She's like, and the only person I can think of that's a bride going to be a bride is... Here lunch. Bobby's Fiat. What? I take him. She can buy her own or you guys can give it to her herself.
Starting point is 00:20:20 I'm not walking home and going, look. Hey, Amy gave me this to give to you from somebody else. Have a good game, bones. You should just leave it in your car and see if she finds it. Take it out of the box, though. Oh, yeah. My wife will love it. What's happening right now?
Starting point is 00:20:36 Why is that weird you out? I have nothing to do with that. I'm out. I don't even understand. I'm not giving her a thawful. Give it to me by you. It's fourth hand thong. Who wants fourth hand thong?
Starting point is 00:20:47 It doesn't matter. How do we know? That's fourth hand thong. How do we know? Can I just say this box looks like it's been like passed around a while? This is an old box. Oh my gosh. I mean that price tag is worn out.
Starting point is 00:20:59 It's faded a little bit. It says 1994 on it. I just do not think this is that big of a deal. Okay. Check out Amy's fifth thing episode. Amy addresses being self-aware when we use things to avoid something. Yeah. Like maybe you really need to do something,
Starting point is 00:21:12 but you're using you know Netflix binges or alcohol or whatever else to like numb it out and avoid. It's like a fun Friday? Like socially acceptable things.
Starting point is 00:21:22 All right. Thank you. Check out Amy's podcast. Four Things with Amy Brown. That is the fifth thing. I hope you enjoy today's show. Mm-hmm. Goodbye, friends.

Starting point is 00:25:42 Hey, what's up, friends. Welcome to the show. Morning studio. Morning. Here's a voicemail we got last night from Eli. This is about Eddie wanting a Harley Davidson motorcycle. I just wanted to comment on Eddie wanting to Harley. I say it's a great idea.
Starting point is 00:26:07 I have a Harley myself and a bunch of friends do, and it really changes your lifestyle. It really makes you a manifest you look for, Eddie. But I say, go for it. Did you talk to your wife? Yeah, yeah. I kind of sprinkling. Well, I sprinkle the idea. I haven't gotten a confirmed answer from her yet.
Starting point is 00:26:22 But dude, I think it's looking good. I think she looks like she wants me to get one. Maybe. I haven't gotten the official decision yet. This isn't sound. How did you sprinkle it in the conversation? So it wasn't like I'm going to get a Harley. It was more of just like, hey, what do you think about me and a Harley?
Starting point is 00:26:38 Like that sounds cool? She's like, I guess. Like you and a Harley looks cool to me in my mind. But I mean, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I'm like, yeah, yeah, we'll cross that bridge and we get there. When do you cross that bridge again? Today, I guess. All right?
Starting point is 00:26:51 Just go back at it. I was like, hey, all this talk about Harley, this dealership wants to do a Harley thing. So let's see what happens. I think she's in, though, dude. You have four kids. If you wreck, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, why are we talking about wrecking? Well, because when you get on an airplane, you don't say, if we crash, you don't say that. Well, because the pilots are trained.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Well, I'm going to have to get trained to ride this thing, dude. Yeah, it just takes a weekend. Okay. That's what they say. Let us know tomorrow. All right. Here's a segment we're going to call, watch this, not that, with our movie expert, movie Mike. Mike, how are you this morning? I am good.
Starting point is 00:27:23 All right, so we're going to do watch this, not that. What do you think we should watch? I have two movies. One you should watch, one you should watch, is a movie called Palmer with Justin Timberlake. It's on Apple Plus. It's about him as an ex-convict coming back to where he used to live and kind of rebuilding his life. Pretty emotional movie. This is new? Brand new. And does it cost money? If you already have Apple Plus, it's free to watch. Oh, really? Yeah. And if you don't have it, you can sign up for a free trial. This is true. What do you give that one? I give that one for. I don't. I give that one for. of five superhero princesses.
Starting point is 00:27:53 What? Huh? What? I saw the preview. Where's the superhero princess coming to play? With the kid in the movie. Oh, okay. Palmer, you really like? Yeah, really good.
Starting point is 00:28:02 And then not to watch. It's a movie called The Little Thing which just came out on HBO Max. If you have that, it's free to watch. But it's really boring. Even though it has Denzel Washington and Jared Leto, nothing happens in the entire movie.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Oh, what do you give that? Two out of five bite marks. The Little Things. Well, Raimundo, did you see the Little Thing? Yeah, I actually did. You have to have the $15 subscription with HBO Max, which is kind of steep. I thought it was cool seeing Denzel Washington. He's 66 years old now. I hadn't seen the dude in a little while. He still looks great. I agree it is slower, but it's worth watching. It's a really good detective movie. I enjoyed it thoroughly watching with my wife. Dang. Somebody's challenging movie, Mike. Well, the whole thing is about a serial killer, and you don't learn much about him or the crime, so I thought it was boring.
Starting point is 00:28:49 But Ray likes it because he hadn't seen Denzel on a day. He's like his old buddy Denzel. Okay, so Mike, you say watch this Palmer. Yes. Not that. The little things. The little things. Speaking of movies, Eddie's son, Jr., watched Forrest Gump.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Yeah, and it's kind of my recommendation because I've been talking about Forrest Gump being my favorite movie of all times. He's like, when am I going to watch that movie, Dad? I'm like, I don't know. It's a little mature for your age. But I think that recently I was like, you're 13 now. I think you can handle this stuff. They talk about a lot of the,
Starting point is 00:29:19 the things that they talk about in the movie in his classes. So I'm like, I think you're going to understand it a little better now. So it's time to watch it. All right, here is Eddie Jr.'s Forrest Gump movie review. We watched the greatest movie of all time. It's Forrest Gump. And what did you think about it? Oh, it was so good.
Starting point is 00:29:34 It was the best movie. It made me laugh. It made me a little bit sad. It kept me interested. It was inspiring. It was touching. It was all those things because it was so good. So you think it's the best movie that you've ever seen in your life?
Starting point is 00:29:48 Yeah. And you're how old? 13, yeah. All right, what was your favorite part of the movie? Just all the U.S. Army parts. Like, yes, drill, sergeant. Yeah. Who was your favorite character?
Starting point is 00:29:59 Bubba. All right, and now you get to give me your best Forest Gump movie impression. Lemon shrimp, shrimp scampy, boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, shrimp and potatoes, and I think that's about it. Any forest gum impressions?
Starting point is 00:30:14 Life is lock a box chocolates. You just never know what you're going to get. Good job. That's awesome. Forest Gump might be the best movie of our lifetime. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of all time, right? Yeah, if you were born in the 60s, I'm sure you have different.
Starting point is 00:30:29 People might challenge, yeah. In our lifetime, I think it would be Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption. Pretty Woman. She throws that in there. That's good, though. He liked it. Yeah, man, and that's what I'm saying, a 13-year-old saying is like really good. I think anyone should watch this, and they're going to decide that it's going to be the best movie of all.
Starting point is 00:30:49 all time. All right. We went heavy movie on you guys. First segment of the show. Amy, what's going on with you? So the father-daughter Valentine's gathering at my daughter's school got canceled, which in my head I was kind of like, well, they were planning on even trying to do it because of coming.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Well, maybe masked. I know, but still, I just feel like they shouldn't have even, you know, props to them for trying, but it was canceled. And so my husband was like, you know what? I still should take her out for a father-daughter date. So who knows what the school exactly had planned, but he's doing dinner, and she gets to pick the restaurant, and they'll get dressed up, and then go out. And I just think it's a special way to bond with your kids.
Starting point is 00:31:30 So my encouragement would be whether your school was going to do it or not, maybe dads date your daughters for Valentine's Day this year. Weird term. I don't feel weird. I don't feel weird. I don't feel like that term. You know what I mean, though. I agree with your sentiment, but date your daughter is not something I think I'd want to say a lot.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Or moms, date your daughter or date your son. Whatever it looks like in your family. Have a time with them? Your family dynamic. Whatever that looks like. I think it's just, it was an important reminder. We've done this in the past, but the cancellation of this event led to it happening now.
Starting point is 00:32:01 And I think it's a good reminder to do that kind of stuff with your kids. One on one. If you have other siblings, spread it out. I just wonder to your daughter's 13 now. I wonder when she gets too old to want to go to the father-daughter dance with her dad. Oh, I don't know. Do you think it's close? Do you think it's a year away?
Starting point is 00:32:18 I hope she always wants to date her dad. I don't like that term. No, no, no. You got to stop saying that, Amy. Yeah, I can't. Eddie, what about your oldest son and his mom? Yeah. Would he go to a dance?
Starting point is 00:32:31 They're not dating, bones. No, but what do you go to a, like, a mother's son dance? You know. He's 13 now. Just turn 13. But I've seen kind of how he tries to play cool when either her or I show up to the school. But I think deep inside he really like. I think deep inside he really likes it when we show up or we do things with him at school, although he does play the cool card.
Starting point is 00:32:53 But what he did slow dance with his mom? No, I don't think he's slow dance. But if everyone else is there with their parents doing it. I mean, that is a factor. If everyone is doing it, hey, guess all these teenagers that think they're so cool, they're like, all right, I'll do it because my friends are doing it. You just need one popular kid to go like, hey man, this is going to be great. That's right. You like hire an influencer in the school.
Starting point is 00:33:13 That's what you do. Like hire a couple popular kids be like, hey, we need you to really influence the other kids. influence the other kids. Yeah. I see. It works on Instagram. You can work at school. Why not?
Starting point is 00:33:21 All right, let us know how it goes. When is the romance due, Mike, from these guys on the show? It's due. When? Tomorrow. Has anybody done it yet? Yeah, guys, come on now. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:33:34 You guys all have something romantic. Yeah, it was due into January. I mean... You have your story ready? Well, I mean, if you want me to tell it now, tell it now, but I don't want to give any ideas. Okay. Guys, by the end of the week, you've got to do something romantic for your
Starting point is 00:33:46 person. Okay. It's going to be real romantic when Eddie throws it together the last minute. I love to hear what it's going to be. I'll think about it. Two women in California are suing Subway for $5 million claiming their tuna sandwiches. They didn't have any tuna in them at all. The plaintiffs say they ordered a tuna sandwich from subway near their home. They took it, did independent testing, and they confirmed the tuna sandwich was neither tuna nor fish. What? Calling it a blended non-tuna product. They're claiming fraud and
Starting point is 00:34:16 misrepresentation, a subway spokesperson called the suit frivolous and said their sandwich is 100% tuna. Listen, I used to go to Subway three, four times a week. I don't eat a lot of bread now, so it's kind of, I guess you can get a bowl, but I would get tuna subs with cheese and mustard twice a week. I like it because it tastes like tuna. If I'm eating tuna, it's mostly a health thing now. I never was like if this isn't real tuna. It was mostly like this needs to taste like real tuna and I'm good. But when you eat tuna subs from Subway, did you ever, by the way? I have, yes.
Starting point is 00:34:50 More of the egg salad person. But I want it to be real tuna. We all want it to be. But if we're going to a place where we don't handle the food, we almost have to take it as it is. If we're in a restaurant, you know, you almost are just going, I trust you. And because I'm not making it myself, I really don't know what's in there. Bones, if they say it's tuna, it better be tuna. You can't just say it's something.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Why are you like? I don't know. Can you imagine if you see the menu and it says it tastes like tuna? Can't tell you what it is. In fine print. But they have like crab meat, right? KRAB. Crab meat.
Starting point is 00:35:24 They just spell it different. KRAB. They don't say it different. What if this tuna is TUN is TUNN-N-A? You can't question it that. Will these two ladies win money? Yes or no. Ooh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:36 If what they report is true, like I don't know how they scientifically researched this. And what if this is one rogue? chain that, you know, franchise, that didn't use tuna and just, then you can't sue the whole company, right? But the lawsuit says an independent lab tested several samples of subway tuna and found its, quote, a mixture of various concoctions that do not constitute tuna
Starting point is 00:35:58 yet have been blended together to imitate the appearance of tuna. That's all I need. Well, I just want to know what's blended. You're crazy. You just appear like tuna. It's like tuna. I'm good. Is it like cheaper fish than tuna?
Starting point is 00:36:09 Probably. It's probably not even fish. I don't know what it is. I'm just saying words at this point. As long as it tastes like tuna, smells like tuna, it's tuna. The people behind the lawsuit are hoping to get it certified as a class action. Subway says the claims are false and their tuna is real. Would you be upset if it wasn't tuna?
Starting point is 00:36:28 I mean, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm not going to let it upset me. You wouldn't be surprised. That's my point. I still want it, though. If they say tuna, I expect tuna. But I'm not going to be surprised if it's not tuna. I announced the collaborations that I wished what happened in 2020.
Starting point is 00:36:43 and it's got a little pickup people wrote a few articles about this. So I just took artists and country music today and said, man, this is who should collaborate. The first one I put up was John Party and Dolly Parton. And here's a little Dolly for you. Like I need to play Dolly.
Starting point is 00:37:08 We know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But when I was talking to John Party the day and I was like, hey, who would you do it with? Who would you like to do it with? And he's like, well yeah, yeah, Dolly would be cool. He goes, but you know what I'd do? I said, what?
Starting point is 00:37:20 He goes, if I could pick anybody, I said, anybody, it does not matter. He said, I'd take Celine Dion. Oh, wow. He said, I saw her live once. It blew my mind. Can you imagine that collab? That's funny, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:35 We went, because we're friends with the parties. And so, Caitlin and I had dinner with John in summer. And I have a cowboy hat that I bought, like three months ago. Do you see the picture online? Yeah, that's funny. Did you say, okay. Did you wear that? To dinner.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Yeah. So let me tell you what happened. We went to dinner and I texted John and said, Hey, you're on your cowboy hat. Because he wears his cowboy hat everywhere he goes. He's working on the field. He has a nicer one for dinner. And I said, I have a cowboy hat that I spent way too much money on for one bit.
Starting point is 00:38:03 I need to wear it out some. He's like, I'll be rocking mine. So we go to this restaurant and I'm wearing the cowboy hat. And I'm in. And as serious as a heart attack, John, we sit down and John and I are sitting, you know, kind of corner to corner to each other. And the girls are sitting corner to corner. John leans over and didn't want to embarrass me. And he goes, hey man.
Starting point is 00:38:22 So what's up? That cowboy hat? It's winter. It should be felt. This looks like you're on a ranch right now. You don't know the hat etiquette. And I was like, what? He goes, I can get you a felt one for winter if you need one.
Starting point is 00:38:33 I was like, no, I'm just trying to wear this because I don't get to wear it out anywhere. But he was serious. That's going to be. And then he goes, because John's a legitimate cowboy. Yeah, yeah. And so he goes, hey, he goes, hey, you like to shape of that one? And I was like, what? The shape of that hat.
Starting point is 00:38:48 He goes, my hat guy can make whatever. shape you need. I was like, John, I don't plan on wearing a cowboy hat. What shoes did you wear with it? Adidas, tennis shoes. Oh, my. Okay. Fun it. Yeah. I had some, I had my bathing ape, Adidas, camouflage, a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt,
Starting point is 00:39:07 and a cowboy hat. There were a couple listeners that were sitting kind of on the edge. And obviously, Caitlin and I got to dinner first, because we're always on time everywhere. And so where they're sitting down, and they recognized me, but a half. had a cowboy hat on, so they were a little throne. And so they waved, and I waved back, but they were kind of like, is that him? And then John walks in, and they were like, oh, okay, now that makes sense. But, yeah, John's a big old boy in a cowboy. He's probably 6'4.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Yeah, he's all dude. That hat is probably another three, four inches. But there you go. That's my cowboy hat story from this past weekend. Number six in my collaboration list, I put Sam Hunt and the chicks. Here you go. Here you go. Let's do another one.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Here is Tyler Childers. I put Tyler Childers on the list. And Marin Morris. All right, let me do one more. Morgan Wallin, who we all know and love. And then Miranda Lambert. That'd be a pretty cool song. These are all really good.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Oh, wait until you hear three, two, and one later on in the show. Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah. There you go. Thank you, Mike D voted. Mike, who did you put on your collaboration list? I wanted The Raging Idiots and Brooks and Dunn. I mean, that's perfect.
Starting point is 00:40:40 We've already tried that live, so that's perfect. Oh, yeah, we did play with them live. We did their song, no. Yeah, that's true. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Luke Colms released a collaboration with Billy Strings. The song was meant to be on his Blue Grass album that has since been put on pause.
Starting point is 00:40:59 It's called The Great Divide. We're about to fall apart now. We can't read. Dan and Shay's the other side. We got to find the way across the great divide. Dan and Shay are joining NBC's The Voice. They will be battle round advisors for Blake Shelton's team. The new season premieres March 1st.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Luke Bryan and Eric Church are among the artists performing for the big concert for small businesses after the Super Bowl on Sunday. It will be live streamed on social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and TikTok and broadcast on CBS, CMT, and MTV 2. It starts at 10.11 p.m. Central. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Yeah, I'll make something good. Renata Frazier, she owns the Great House barbecue in Springfield, Illinois. And last year, when the pandemic started, she provided hot meals to the students that were affected by the schools that were closed. And so she took them and gave them hot meals. Everyone's like, that's so sweet. They love the restaurant. But now she's struggling.
Starting point is 00:42:11 The restaurant's closing. They can't pay their mortgage. And so the community got together, especially Dusty Rhodes, who's a customer, loves her and loves the restaurant. He said, guys, let's raise some money. We cannot let the barbecue place shut down. They raised over $5,000. And now she's able to not shut down and keep going and making her good barbecue. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:42:30 Because you know she was doing that selflessly at the beginning. And then some other folks stepped up for her at the end. Right. That's awesome. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobbi Bone Show. Bonehead.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Norrie up the day. This story comes us from Albuquerque, New Mexico. A 25-year-old man went rolling through the McDonald's drive-thru, said, give me two cheeseburgers, please. Pulls up, they give him to him, and he drives off. He opens the burgers, but they forgot the cheese. So he rolls back around and says, Guys, you forgot the cheese.
Starting point is 00:43:02 My bad. So they give him two cheeseburgers. He leaves, he goes, no, I'm still not satisfied. It goes back around the drive-thru for a second time, pulls a gun on the drive-thru worker and says, how stupid do you have to be? When I order cheese, you should put cheese on there the first time. Was it ever about the cheese?
Starting point is 00:43:20 It was never about the cheese. No, no. It's never about the cheese. He was looking for somebody to pull this gun on today. It's not about the cheese. In some situation, that gun was going to get pulled. Okay, and he's in jail probably. Yeah, police were there within minutes,
Starting point is 00:43:36 and they followed them in a helicopter. Oh, wow. Helicopter. It's worth it. No cheese. Okay. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day.

Starting point is 00:48:09 Got it. Survivor style. Amy? Home improvement. Lunchbox? I got to say you nailed that. That was home improvement. Eddie?

Starting point is 00:50:30 Hi, caramba. All right. Eddie and Amy remain. Whoa. What show had this catchphrase? Whoa. Amy, you need Mike to do it? No, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:50:47 You nailed it. Go ahead. Blossum. Yeah. Yeah, I've lost them. There it is. Whoa. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Whoa. Okay, okay, okay. Oh, my Lanta. If neither one of you get it, we'll play it and then hit it again. Amy's writing something down. What are you writing down over there? You're first. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Family matters. Eddie? All right, I went The Simpsons because I feel like he says that again. Play it for me, Ramundo? Oh, my Lanta? I don't, hold on. I don't even hear it. So let me tell you, this.
Starting point is 00:51:26 is the one character they really couldn't get a catchphrase to stick to. They tried. Everybody else had one. For example, you got it, dude. Or the other was, how rude. Those were the youngest sister, middle sister, and the oldest was DJ Tanner. And they tried to get, oh, my land. Oh, got it.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Candice Cameron? Okay. We'll do speed round here between you two. Yell our names? Yeah, we'll do. I have three of them. Yell your name. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Next. Go. Let's play it. Well, isn't that special. What? Here it is again? Well, isn't that special? No, no, no. I feel like I...
Starting point is 00:52:08 Eddie. Eddie. How I met your mother. Nope. Is that 90s? I don't think so. Well, isn't that special? I know this.
Starting point is 00:52:19 I don't know. Say by the bell. No, no, no. There's a live audience, right? Yeah. A cheering audience. That's the church lady, and that's Saturday Night Live.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Oh. Oh, okay. My brain wasn't even thinking that show. One down. Here is the next one. Buzz in with your name if you know it. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? You don't know what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Eddie. Eddie. Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Correct. Come on. No, no, no. No, no. Although, that did sound kind of cool.
Starting point is 00:52:46 He puts the old music back on. We got one more. See if you can name this 90s TV show. Next one, you guys buzzing with your name. And go. Fee he he he he Neh Eddie
Starting point is 00:53:00 Boy Meets World Correct Yeah Oh finny Finney I mean I had no idea Feeney They're like yeah
Starting point is 00:53:09 Finney Whatever Oh finny Yeah What do you want to say Eddie Oh man what a great day To be alive
Starting point is 00:53:15 I don't know What else you want to say It's a great game Travis Trit Thank you for that Good job The question is How much weight do you have to lose
Starting point is 00:53:22 Before it shows up in your face What do you think? I guess it depends where you lose it first, but 10 pounds? About 14 pounds. Oh. Have you lost 14 pounds? Probably right around there. With your Dallas Buyers Club diet?
Starting point is 00:53:34 Can you tell? I can tell whenever you stand up. Like, you just look more slight. Crazy, dude. I mean, I just weighed myself because I never did the whole time. And then finally, like, this weekend, I was like, I'm going to weigh myself just to see. And yeah, I'm about 14 pounds.
Starting point is 00:53:48 What did you weigh? 178. So you normally weigh by 190? I guess I was like close to 190, 189. Wow. Crazy, right? Are you still on the diet? Yeah, I'm still doing it.
Starting point is 00:53:57 Are you still cranky? Yeah. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. He's still miserable. For sure. And angry.
Starting point is 00:54:03 But you're going to stay like this till the wedding. I am, dude. I'm not going to like stay on this diet till the wedding because then I might like not make it to your wedding. But I'm going to keep strict diet, you know, to kind of keep this the whatever weight I get to. Okay. Yeah, dude. Just for you, buddy. Don't do it for me.
Starting point is 00:54:19 In case I have some health problems. I blame it all on you. Eddie eating two eggs in the morning, boiled eggs. And then he's having five ounces of fish for lunch and dinner with vegetables. A cup of veggies for both lunch and dinner. That's crazy. A diet he got from Matthew McConaughey who did this diet to play a character who was dying. Yeah, of AIDS, right?
Starting point is 00:54:37 Yeah. So he had to get sick looking. I mean, McConaughey went really like, I mean, he went down to like 120 pounds of him. I'm not getting that low guys. Yeah, because he went real hard. He ate egg whites. You eat the full egg. He didn't have bites of pizza.
Starting point is 00:54:49 You do. Right. It's a little different. Last week, lunchbox went into a low. sub shop and paid for everyone's meal in hopes that someone would contact the news. This is all rooted in that Darius Rucker story where Darius went into an IHop had dinner, paid for everybody's meal, tip the wait staff, made the news. So lunchbox got jealous.
Starting point is 00:55:10 I do like that he paid for everybody's meal though, right? Let's not let it be lost that he did go in and pay for everyone's meal, eight people. Yeah, that's a lot of money. But then he started yelling, hey, tweet this, call the news. Here's a clip from last week. Remember, if you hit up the news, he tweeted out lunchbox, my lunch, let him know. I'm just a great guy. Any news? CNN, Fox News, anybody. Yeah. Remember, Lunchbox, L-U-N-C-H-B-O-X. Let everybody know. Tell the news. So what do you think the
Starting point is 00:55:38 difference is between Darius's story and then Lunchbox? L-U-N-C-H-B-O-X? I mean, Darius isn't looking for any sort of recognition. Right. So Lunchbox waited. The news never picked it up, right, lunchbox? No, no one ever called. There wasn't any single tweet, not a news story. Not even on the bottom line when you watch the 10 o'clock news. Like, you know how they have news on the bottom? Nothing. So he decides to call himself and tip off the news as his character. What's character's name?
Starting point is 00:56:08 Nico Jackson. Yes. And so Nico Jackson just happened to be in line at the sub shop when this lunchbox fella came in and bought Subways for everybody. Why does he sound like that creepy old man from... Family guy? Yeah. Where he's like, oh, the Good Lord just sent me.
Starting point is 00:56:25 a conversation starter. Lunchbox, what? The inspiration for Nico Jackson is what? This character you do. This was just, I really just was calling the prank call my dad and I jumped very good at voices
Starting point is 00:56:35 and so I had to kind of manipulate my mouth and this came out and I was like, Nico Jackson. And we had just had Nico Moon in. I was like that name Nico. We'll go with Nico Jackson. Okay, here is Lunchbox calling the news.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Here you go. News desk, this is B. Oh, yes. This is Niko. I got to tell you, I got a great story for you over there at the news station. So I was at the sub shop the other day, and this fine young gentleman comes in, and this guy starts yelling, hey guys, I'm lunchbox, and he ended up paying for everybody's sub that
Starting point is 00:57:13 was in line. Got it? Yes, and he paid for all of our subs, and he said, oh, if we want to contact the news, and I think you should do a story on the young man. Okay. A third, that sounds really nice of him. That sounds like a great gesture to go in and do a little pay it forward, if you will. But is that all you were calling in for?
Starting point is 00:57:34 I mean, I got a footlong meatball sub and I even got a cookie because this lunchbox guy was buying. I said, hey, might as well get a cookie. Okay. All right. That is interesting. Well, I will jot this down and I'm glad that you got a free sub out of it and even a free cookie. And it sounds like that was a great afternoon for you. It really was. It was really good.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Now, I thought it would be cool on the news, but I guess you're saying no. Not today. But in Lunchbox, a big celebrity, he said he was on the radio. And so I figured that means he's big time. You know, there's some bigger people on the radio, I think. I've not personally heard of him. I can ask around the newsroom, but that's not one that I've personally heard. Oh, okay. Well, all right. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:58:21 All right. Thank you for calling. All right. Bye-bye. Wow. Did that hurt? So many levels that had to hurt. It hurt on a lot of levels. Like, first of all, they didn't think your story is big enough. Right, like a little bit, you're like, dang, I thought this was my shot here.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Oh, yes, I was like, I thought she'd be like, oh, yes, we need something positive. You know, we always have negative news on the story. Maybe we'll have something positive. She wouldn't even, like, she didn't even want to entertain it. And then. Oh, don't even go there. Don't go there. Like, rehearing her say that, I'm.
Starting point is 00:58:54 I was just like, that's like a dagger in the heart. Like she could have just said, oh, yeah, he's a great guy. No, instead she goes, oh, there's probably, there's bigger ones because I've never heard. Oh, my God. But it's a dagger in the heart. Why? Because lunchbox thinks that he's the biggest thing around, right? Sure.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Yeah. Like, how does she, like, is she living in a cave? She's never heard of me? Come on. You should have asked her who her favorites are. Oh. She's just straight Bobby Bones. Let me tell you.
Starting point is 00:59:19 At that point when she said, I never heard of him all to ask about the newsroom. I was just ready to get out of there. I was like, I'm done. Like, I hate you. Was that here in town? It was a local one. Oh, no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Never heard of them. Got them. Ow. Not cool. Well, you're not going to make the news. Sorry about that, bud. Yeah, I'm not going to make the news. So who do I ask to be getting reimbursed for that meal?
Starting point is 00:59:45 You can ask everybody, but nobody can get to reimburse you for it. That's funny. All right. Nico Jackson, everybody. Yeah. We always love Nico Jackson. Have a great day. The Vibovost.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Here's Amy's pile of stories. So a new survey asked people if they'd be afraid to get in a car if the driver was their 16-year-old self. I wouldn't. I was fine. I drove slow then. I drive slow now for the most part. I mean, I guess I just, but I'd been driving, I don't want to say illegally, but when you grow up in a small town and in the woods, you have to learn how to drive earlier
Starting point is 01:00:21 than most normal folks do in a city. So I would be okay with you. Arkansas Keith Yeah It says here One of the most common driving teachers The first one in line is a dad To say stepdad
Starting point is 01:00:32 Well yeah He was your father figure Oh okay Would you? Yeah probably wouldn't I don't really know with you now That's a thing I was just kind of teeing you up there
Starting point is 01:00:43 But I'm scared to drive with you right with you now Yeah I would say I don't I don't know how I did it And I mean once I turned 16 I was on I 35 for hours a day day. Like I wasn't just like backroading it. Like I was right on a major highway for a lot of the day. And I had a few fender benders here and there. No, not last week when you were 16.
Starting point is 01:01:04 No, I know. Yeah. What else? So Bobby, I think you told us like a week or two ago that moms just wanted me time for Valentine's Day. And I kind of challenged you on it. Like no way. You need to get a mom something else other than that. But I saw another survey that was put out that said, Yes, what moms really want after a chaotic and stressful 2020 from their significant other is just something to do by themselves, nobody else. Well, that's still getting them something. Yeah. You can provide the experience for them. It's just the experience is without you.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Exactly. You can still do something to do together, but you need to do something where she can kind of have her own space. Yeah. I'm pretty pumped by Valentine's Day. I got my dinner planned. I got my main gift that cost me $0. Yeah. This is good.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Zero dollars. I'm what my Valentine's gift cost me. I'm pretty proud of it. All right, what else? Well, I saw an article about Luke Brian and Bobby Bones and how the duo is ready to make dreams come true on American Idol. Oh, look at us. Yeah. So the article quoted Luke saying one of his favorite things about American Idol is you never know what's going to walk through
Starting point is 01:02:15 the door and you get chill bumps all over your body when you're at the judge's table and someone just sings really powerfully. And then from you, Bobby, apparently you really. really enjoy the part that is making the dreams come true. And when you see someone go out and perform better because of something that you mentored them on, that's really fulfilling for you. Well, yeah, I thought I didn't screw them up. True or false. There's a whole week of that show every season where I tell them what songs is seen.
Starting point is 01:02:42 And I'm just like, oh boy. Because if somebody bombs, I don't want them getting up there when the judges are like, well, that really wasn't that good. They're like, well, Bobby told me and I hated it. That'd be no good. But American Idol comes back February 14th, speaking of Valentine's Day. Yeah, on ABC. And I read that this promises to be the best season yet.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Well, to be fair, we said that about every season. But this season is for sure, you know? Let me play a voicemail we got from Ellen. She sent this last night. This is voicemail number one. Here you go. I'm so happy for you with getting married. How exciting that is.
Starting point is 01:03:15 And I wrote down happy for you. Ain't nothing as good as old-fashioned love. Give it your best shot. Edd me with your best shot. She sings. Appreciate that, Ellen. All right, thank you guys. Close it up, Amy.
Starting point is 01:03:30 I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home, it's something good. Las Vegas fire got a call of an injured hiker. They're like, oh, no big deal. Routine, go get the hiker off the mountain.
Starting point is 01:03:47 This would be easy. They show up, and he's up a 300-foot incline. They're like, oh, we'll just bring the helicopter in. Oh, no. It's starting to snow. It's white out conditions. No helicopter. So they had to go old school.
Starting point is 01:03:59 They had to get ropes and pulleys and climb up the mountain, strap this dude in who had broken his ankle and bring him down the old-fashioned way. Think about 300 feet, right? That is basically a 30-story building. Yeah. That's how high it was up there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:15 And a straight incline, folks. But these guys, they said, hey, don't worry about the snow. We can't see anything. We got them down safely. There it is. I bet that guy's so thankful. he probably thought he's going to die.
Starting point is 01:04:26 Yeah, for sure. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:09:23 Good morning studio. Is this calling to let you guys know? I was just recently diagnosed with COVID, so I've been laying in bed, and I have just been listening to the podcast every single episode. This with my eyes closed, listening to it. So you guys are helping me get through it. Appreciate everything that you do. Yeah, thanks. Get better soon.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Hope you get your smell and taste back. You lost it. Eddie still doesn't have all his smell back. I don't know if we should keep saying that because it scares people, but it's true, man. I got like maybe 80% of my smell back. Okay. That's better than it was. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:56 Here are my top three country collaborations that need to happen this year. Number three, Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton. Imagine they did this song together. Oh, yeah, that'd be amazing. How strong that would be. Like, their vocals are all... Yeah. Number two, I put this because I don't think they've ever done a song together,
Starting point is 01:10:12 and they need to do it now before it gets too late. And that's Garth Brooks and George Strait. Oh, wow! Right? That's royalty. That's like Superman and Batman. Yeah. And I don't think they've ever done a song together unless they've all hopped on a song.
Starting point is 01:10:26 doing like friends in low places like a when they had like 20 people on there the celebrity version and number one the number one collaboration that I think needs to happen Dan and Shea and Casey Musgraves oh yeah wouldn't that be legit yeah there you go I put seven of them up on my TikTok Mr. Bobby Bones if you want to check that out over there Eddie was talking about and let's not judge them wearing men spanks because you got some yeah I got where do you want to wear them no I'm wearing them now right Like right now.
Starting point is 01:10:57 What do you mean? When am I going to wear them? I'm wearing them now, guys. Like the, where are, what, where are you controlling the area? My upper half of my body. So it's a shirt? Oh, yeah. I got some too.
Starting point is 01:11:08 They sent a lot of us a box of them. And so I was like, let me try these out. And I put on, it was a really tight. It looked like a baby shirt. Yeah, it's so tight. And it stretches out over you. At first, Amy, you can't breathe. It's so tight.
Starting point is 01:11:20 I hurt my shoulder putting it on. Y'all don't need to tell me about Spanx. I've been wearing them for years. I honestly, and I'm not kidding. I have them on right now. I honestly don't know how I'm going to take these off. Get some butter. Let's grease them off.
Starting point is 01:11:33 Do you like them? I do. I do like how they feel. Like, you know, it's just, it's almost like, do you remember long johns, you're aware long johns, under underwear or whatever? It's like that, but really, really tight. And I look at myself in the mirror and I'm just like, every little bit of like extra fat that I had, it's all sucked in.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Like, I could get used to this living. It's smooth. How do you feel about Eddie wearing spank? Do you want to see my spank? Sure. I mean, I think it's great. Okay. Making it for men. Yeah, Span's for men.
Starting point is 01:12:03 Thanks. Look at this. I know with my shirt you couldn't tell. Look at that. Wow. It looks like skin. Yeah, it is skin. And guys, and they have this underwear.
Starting point is 01:12:11 It's really cool. It's not a commercial, by the way. But they have this underwear and there's a second half that goes up to your rib cage and it sucks all your stomach in. Now, I'm washing those. Not wearing those today. But I will wear those later this week. Washing those? because are he four with them?
Starting point is 01:12:28 A couple weird things happened. First of all, the Amazon driver came to the house at like 10.30 at night, which freaked us out because nobody pulls up into the yard anyway that late. And then a van, like a sketchy van pulled up too. It wasn't one of those his Amazon on it. It just like a white van. Ooh, weird. Yeah, it's like, come in, kid.
Starting point is 01:12:45 It's like Nico Jackson will be in that van. You want candy? Yeah. So, and he gets out and I see him come up. And I was like, hey, he goes, Amazon. And I was like, 1030 at 9. He said, yeah, sorry about that. And so, luckily he had a package, an Amazon package.
Starting point is 01:13:02 But maybe that was part of his front. Right. I would think that, maybe. This is what Caitlin did. She goes, let me see if I ordered anything from Amazon. She had ordered nothing from Amazon. Whoa. So we're freaking out. We're like, we're about to get jumped by.
Starting point is 01:13:13 We figured a whole bunch of guys were going to come rolling out of the back of that van with guns. Dang, dude. Like we went all the way. Turns out it was Amazon. I guess they had a long delivery day, but I would imagine people get freaked out if Amazon drives up at 10 o'clock at night. Yeah, that's late. I mean, honestly, we're all asleep, so I don't know if I would notice. But that is a weird time. There was dog food, by the way, in case you're wondering. I was wondering actually, thank you.
Starting point is 01:13:38 It was two bags of dog food. We do a lot with Purina. And so they had sent over some stuff. And so that was that. I was actually thinking like, what was in the box? Come on. Was in the box. Did dog food. So not only that, I order postmates, which they bring your food to you. And we order from a sushi restaurant. I went to the drink menu. and I don't drink, but I ordered a virgin like strawberry drink. You know, I love my fruity drinks. But I said, no vodka, no something else that's in there. And I said, but write virgin on the cup, so I know you read this.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Because I don't want to have my first drink of alcohol accidentally from a sushi place down the road, you know, delivery. And so the kid comes up, he's probably 19. He goes, hey, man, I need to take a picture of your driver's license. I'm like, for what? He goes, by the way, I'm big fan. Oh, yeah. So he knows. But I was like, you want my license?
Starting point is 01:14:24 He goes, yeah, they're making us take a picture of it. I said, but it was virgin. He goes, hey, man. And I'm thinking at this point, this guy just wants my driver's license. But then I got a text going, hey, he's going to ask for your ID. Because since I order from the alcoholic menu, I guess that's how they can get away with delivering alcohol. So that was a whole weird experience. We go, we have, both of our bathrooms have been flooded.
Starting point is 01:14:48 Floors warped, showers, but it's just a whole situation. We bought this house. Really like it, but it needs a little bit of work. certain places. We didn't know both bathrooms are going to crap out at the same time. So we're like, okay, so we're doing like tile on the marble on the floor or whatever. There are
Starting point is 01:15:05 extreme different pieces of marble that look almost exactly the same. Does that make sense? Well, I'm trying to understand. No, it's just there, if you want this white marble with a sway that goes up and down, or this white marble with a sway that goes at an
Starting point is 01:15:21 angle on the same sway, just tilted different. Well, so it's a natural stone so it depends on how it was cut because whatever way they cut into the quarry is how it lines up and that can make it different. It can look similar. Is that what you're saying? Like you're trying to pick between four different
Starting point is 01:15:37 colors that look the same. It's like four different white paint colors. What's the difference? We've picked one of the bathrooms. We have to move out of our bedroom and we can't even move into the guest bedroom the main guest bedroom because both bathrooms are being done at the same time. So we're out
Starting point is 01:15:53 they're going to have to cover We got to move our closets completely out of the room. It is going to be a disaster. And while we're looking, we went to look at tub, bath tubs, and we're walking through and looking, and we have a guy with this from the store. And he's like, somebody famous got that one. Have you heard the story?
Starting point is 01:16:10 No. He said that, yeah. But like, did he say the famous person or just somebody famous? Yeah, Thomas Wrett. That's funny. He said, Lauren Aiken's a Thomas Wright got that bad tub. Hey, I bet you that works a lot of time. He didn't know that I know that.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Are you sure? I feel like he... I don't think so. I think he was just flexing on who came in and got that bathtub. I agree. And then he said... I don't want to say what he said,
Starting point is 01:16:34 but he said, she didn't try it out. She's not going to like it when she gets home. Oh, that's funny. So he was trying to just throw out their name but didn't recommend you get it.
Starting point is 01:16:45 Right. I think I'm too tall, maybe. But he was like, you should get in that bathtub. But you're a lot taller taller than TR. You're fine. I am.
Starting point is 01:16:53 You're four inches tall than Thomas Redd. But anyway, that's what we've been doing. That and we've been picking out the bathrooms, having weirdos. What we think is weirdos, people just doing their job. Odd hours come to the house.
Starting point is 01:17:07 And then we're whistle training the dogs. Have you done that? No. So the dogs will run out and they won't always come back and we yell at them. So now we each have a whistle. And if you blow the whistle,
Starting point is 01:17:18 at any point, they come to you, you give them a deluxe treat. Not just a treat, but like a piece of turkey or ham. Oh. So when we'll get in different corners, the yard and blow the whistle and then move around. And every time they hear the whistle, they run to the whistle.
Starting point is 01:17:29 Is it a dog whistle? Yeah, no, no, it's a regular whistle. Oh. But you blow the whistle and they know that means they're going to get an extra special treat. So then when we send them out even at night, without a leash, they're going to the yard to pee. They don't want to come back. We blow the whistle. They're flying back to the house because they know they're going to get a piece of turkey.
Starting point is 01:17:46 Then eventually they won't get a piece of turkey. Yeah. They'll just get pet on the head. So that's pretty much my whole life. That's my bio of about the last two weeks. here. Bathrooms, whistle training, freaking out because Amazon comes at 10.30
Starting point is 01:18:00 and let people take a picture of my ID. Thank you for coming to my life TED Talk. It's a lot going on. Yeah. Not really. I mean, a little bit of scary stuff, a little bit of improvements in the house. Yeah, a lot going on. Not really.
Starting point is 01:18:14 Amy, did you ever have a boyfriend back in the day? Or heck, maybe your husband does this now. They just wants to fight if something goes wrong. No, I've never dated Fight Guy. Mm-mm. I mean, maybe when I was 16. one of the, yeah, but I don't even know if he was fight guy or just being a teenage kid. But nobody in my life currently is fight guy.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Like you never been at a bar and somebody steps on somebody's shoe and the next thing you know it's like, come on. No, and I'm not attracted to fight guy. Like, I want you to be able to control yourself. They say men with a fragile sense of masculinity are way more likely to act aggressively to prove their manliness. That makes sense. So the guy that always wants to fight is fighting to prove. that he's a man. And the guy that doesn't need to fight is a big man.
Starting point is 01:18:59 That's me. It's a big man. I'm not going to fight at all. The guy that runs away, it's good. The guy that cries and grabs another man to stand in front of him, that's the guy you want to be with. Lunchbox, are you fight guy? I'm not a fight guy, but I think women like fight guy.
Starting point is 01:19:15 Like, if you are going to, if your woman is in trouble, they want to see you step up and fight. They want to see someone that is brave. And, I mean, if we need to, we can fight, but I mean, no one really wants to to fight me because they know. I think there's a difference in if somebody's hurting your girl. No, no, no. Let's say
Starting point is 01:19:32 some guy knocks your girl's drink out of the hand and doesn't say sorry or excuse me. You got to say something to the guy or else your girl's going to look at you bad and you got to let your girl know, hey, I'm not going to let people treat you like that. If you're at a bar and a guy accidentally bumps into your wife and knocks her drink
Starting point is 01:19:48 out of her hand and keeps walking, what do you do? You grab them and say, hey, you're going to come back and apologize. Or we're going to have a problem. Okay. I know he doesn't. You grab them? Yep. Where do you grab them?
Starting point is 01:19:59 Grab him by the shoulder, the arm, whatever. You just, hey, excuse me, you just knocked the drink out of her hand and you're going to go back and apologize. And they're going to apologize. I'm not saying that you shouldn't say, hey, would you mind apologizing? But lunchbox can't grab in anybody. I mean, you're already picturing that the guy's gone. Like, he's already walked away and lunchbox is going to get out of his way and go grab him. They come back and apologize to her.
Starting point is 01:20:18 And then also, since this is radio and some people might not know exactly what lunchbox looks like, I just like to clarify that a second ago, Lunchbox said, well, you know, if people see me, they know. Like, they know what? Like, they're not going to fight him because of what they see. But Lunchbox isn't as big as he sounds. He's like a, like a, the twig.
Starting point is 01:20:40 White guy with, like, shaggy hair. Like, it's not what you're expecting. Because I know some people picture, like, big, big guy. He's got a big voice. He's got a big guy. Where would you rank us on the, the show with all the guys here on the show who you'd want to fight least like who's probably the toughest in a fight to the person that's the wimpiest okay I don't want to fight screw with
Starting point is 01:21:01 Steve so he's first yes okay go ahead then I don't want to fight Ray because he's scrappy I think and like well I don't know he works out all the time uh then I don't want to fight Bobby then I don't want to fight come on Mike Dee oh Mike D really Amy you have lost your darn mind what's wrong with you You've lost your darn mind. Then I don't want to fight Eddie. Oh, wow. And then I don't want to fight lunchbox. Actually, it sounds like you do want to fight lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Wait, I thought that that was the water. It is, but I'm saying. No, I'm not. If you had to pick, you'd fight him first. Oh, yes. So that's what I mean. Yeah, like, it's like. Wow.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Yeah. Probably my best odds are against him. You need to put some respect on my name. Okay. Okay. How does that make you feel, lunchbox? I mean, listen, I'm not worried about her. Girls like her. That's the one not. I'm not what I'm worried about. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:21:56 No, what is he saying? When's the last time you've been in a fight, lunchbox? Oh, man, it's been a long time. It's been a long time. But there's been times at the bar when he gets real close. And they're like, oh, you know what? This is probably a bad idea. And they back down. Oh, they back down. You don't. Yeah. Or someone defuses the situation, steps in between, things like that. But that's the problem. When you're a celebrity and you go out to bars, some people don't want to pick at you just because you're a celebrity. Do you remember when Morgan number two was boxing as she said she'd box lunchbox? Yes, and he said no. He said he wasn't. He wouldn't do it.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Yeah. Correct. Still won't do it. Why? Because she's a woman. That's true. I mean, I mean. That's true.
Starting point is 01:22:38 Who would you rather fight Morgan number two or lunchbox? Oh, lunchbox. Let's set it up. Let's go. Oh, so you'll fight me. You'll fight Amy, but not Morgan? Yeah. Hey, she talks a big game.
Starting point is 01:22:49 Let's do it. Oh, boy. You didn't use a talking big game at lunchbox? Right. No, she didn't. Also, I'm a woman. Hey, but you're talking trash. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:22:59 Let's go. All right. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. There's a school store at Linda Tutte High School in Sanger, Texas. Usually at a school store, it would be notebooks and school gear, but not this store. You can also get produce, milk and eggs, pasta, peanut butter, canned goods,
Starting point is 01:23:19 dishwash your soap. Students can shop there, but on Tuesdays, the store is open to the community, and by the way, it's all free. And so the idea is to provide students with job skills to learn how to work in the store, but also to help people, too, and you're given points. So the larger the family, the more points you receive, and the more merchandise that you can get, you know, quote-unquote buy.
Starting point is 01:23:41 There's no in-person shopping because it's a pandemic, so they fill out a list, and students bring the groceries to the cars. So people continue to donate to keep the store rolling, and depending on how much your family is in need, you can get whatever you need. It's cool. It's awesome. So the school had the idea.
Starting point is 01:23:56 They're continuing to go through and partly funded, and the community is also partly funding it as well. And they keep it going. People that need go and get what they need. And now that this is in the news, too, other schools can look to, you know, following this. They're also doing this thing, too, where if you do things around school,
Starting point is 01:24:12 you can, like, make points. Like, if you do work around school, you can make points to also cash that. in at the store. Oh, nice. To buy goods as well. Just gives everybody a shot. I like that story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:27:58 APUS.org. Let's go over to Rhonda in Florida, who's on the show. Hey, Rhonda, I appreciate you calling. What's going on? Call them, what's going on? Good morning. Good morning studio. Morning.
Starting point is 01:28:11 So I'm calling about this whole masculinity scientist thing. So I am married to a fighter. Like a literal UFC fighter or somebody who just like, okay man, must fight? Yes, like the whole I don't put up with anything, let's fight. So the whole time I've known him, which has been approximately 25 years, been married 22. he will fight in the drop of a hat.
Starting point is 01:28:47 He doesn't put up with anything. Not because he has a masculine problem because he so does not. He just doesn't put up with stupid. Yeah, but stupid is defined by every person different. Yeah. Like the stupidest people I know go, I don't mess with stupid. Like literally the dumbest people I know go, you know, I just don't have room for dumb people. When you, I feel the smarter you become, the more you realize everybody's dumb, including yourself.
Starting point is 01:29:11 It's like in traffic. If somebody cuts me off, I go, you know what? I've done that accidentally before. That might have been an accident. I'm going to go, hands up, my bad. I get it too. I've done it. It takes a man to do that.
Starting point is 01:29:24 No, it doesn't. It just takes all of us to realize we're all pretty dumb. Yeah, I don't think that's a man thing. Yeah, I was making a joke because he's manly. Oh, I got you. Well, yeah, I'm totally with you on this. I think, how do you feel as a wife having that? Because to me, I would want to encourage my husband to do some,
Starting point is 01:29:41 inner reflection and why does he have to handle stupid that way, you know? But he drives an 18-wheeler. And last year, last year there was a lady who was driving in Jacksonville with children in the back of her car, not in car seats, and stopped in the middle of the road for no reason. He was fully loaded with lumber, and he had to stop in the middle of the road on a dime, so he did not hit those children, and all of his load came through his cab. I could have lost my husband for that. Yeah, I'm not understanding how this is the same thing.
Starting point is 01:30:32 I don't think she wanted to purposely hurt her kids. She made a dumb decision, obviously. Maybe something was wrong with her. I'm not sure. But that doesn't make up for a fight guy who just fights all the time. Yeah. Yeah, that part sucks. Listen, trust me, I got a CDL permit now.
Starting point is 01:30:46 You understand. I tell you right now. That ain't easy to do. That breaking, perception distance, that stuff's hard. I got more respect to people to drive trucks than I ever did once I had to learn that stuff. But no, I stand by and not just about fight guys. The more we go, man, I just can't deal with dumb people. And I used to be the same way until I realized, you know what, we're all dumb in our own different ways.
Starting point is 01:31:08 And if people wanted to beat me up every time I did something dumb, I walk out of this building, get the crap beat on me every day. and I consider myself to be a pretty smart guy. But even then, there are areas of my life where I'm a total dumb dumb. So what? Oh, I just finished that book that a therapist wrote about her real clients, and she had this one client that, like, he would come in and all the time was like, this idiot and this person's an idiot, my wife's an idiot, this guy that works for me, such an idiot.
Starting point is 01:31:32 Everybody was an idiot. In fact, the chapter was kicking him off was called Idiot. And slowly as they worked through stuff and things he had going on, months and months of work. He kind of sat back and he was like, oh, shoot, I'm the idiot. We are all the idiot. All of us. You want to see the biggest idiot?
Starting point is 01:31:50 Go look in the mirror. Yeah. That's it. Because we're not all extremely well-versed in everything. Let me tell you a story quickly. It was this guy named Socrates, right? He went on a hunt to find the smartest man in the world. He said, I'm going to find him.
Starting point is 01:32:05 And everywhere he went to the greatest scholars. He went to the philosophers that were known as A-plus. went to every one of them and they all said, I am the, they raised their hand, come and talk to me because I am the smartest man in the world. I am the most educated person in the world. He went to all of them. Over a great amount of time, he talked to every one of them. He came back home and he realized, hmm, that he was actually the smartest person in the world
Starting point is 01:32:25 because he knew he didn't know anything. And the truly smartest people realize they don't know it all. And everybody who thinks they do, they're the dumb-dums. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. It's a good story. I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing that I know nothing. Are you saying that or soccer teet? No, sign fell.
Starting point is 01:32:44 I know nothing. Is that sign fell? No. It's like a mix of both. What's the deal? Yes. What's the deal? What domes?
Starting point is 01:32:55 Thank you for your call. Appreciate that. Let's go and do the news. Bobby's Big. Story. Well, Dustin Diamond died yesterday. What? Yeah, from Saved by the Bell.
Starting point is 01:33:07 You didn't know see this on the news? No. I know I was not dialed. into things. So a couple weeks ago he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Okay, I also missed that. And they were like, hey, it's not going to last long from him. But I read a story yesterday, five minutes before they announced he died where they said, hey, here is like last wishes. He wants to meet the basis from Tool. He wants to go to Disney World. And then boom, it came across that he had passed away. Wow. So Dustin Diamond, who played screech on Say by the Bell, was diagnosed
Starting point is 01:33:35 with stage four small cell sarcanoma, which is commonly referred to as lung cancer. he had been through his first round of chemotherapy. According to TMZ, the cancer started somewhere in Dustin's body and metastasized in his lungs. He was taken to the hospital back in January after feeling pain all over his body. Oh my gosh. What I read by reading even more into it
Starting point is 01:33:57 was that he had this not on his neck but he didn't want to go to the hospital because he thought people would take pictures of him. He'd already had some not too great brushes with the internet and with his... It just wasn't good for him a while. And so he was like, I don't want to go to the hospital because I don't want to deal with that right now. The internet was pretty brutal to him. But he passed away yesterday. He was
Starting point is 01:34:18 44 years old. Here's a clip I found of him talking about the hardest thing about being a child actor. He was interviewed by Mario Lopez here. The hardest thing about being a child star is giving up your childhood. You don't get a childhood, really. I mean, you're a professional. You got to know your lines and rehearse and practice. You know, it was making sure that you've, you've, you've, were the funniest and the best that you could be because if you weren't funny, you could be replaced. In that same interview, he talked about how he hasn't seen some of the cast members since he was 16 years old. When was the last time you saw any of the cast members? It's been ages. I mean, I haven't seen Mark Paul since I was 16.
Starting point is 01:34:59 Really? Yeah, yeah. I haven't seen Tiffany or Elizabeth since then either. It's been a minute. So after that, it was like, oh, well, he's the bad boy. He's bitter. He hates everyone. He's, you know, he's kind of turned his nose up to the world. and it really haven't. It's a farthest thing from the truth. Yeah, a couple facts about him. There were only three actors
Starting point is 01:35:18 that appeared in all 86 episodes of the show. It were Mark Paul Gosseler, Zach Morris, Mario Lopez, Slater, and Dustin Diamond Screech. His first kiss happened on set. And you remember the actors that had the pigtails, blonde, her... It was Tori Spelling, was the actress.
Starting point is 01:35:34 That was his first kiss. The top three, saved by the bell episodes... Remember the wrong? documentary Friends Forever? Of course. Friends Forever. So, rest in peace to Dustin Diamond.
Starting point is 01:35:55 How old was he? 44. Who was not related to a Beastie Boy, by the way. Was that a rumor? Well, Mike Diamond from the Beastie Boys, Mike D. Mike D. And people were going, what's going on with the Beastie Boy family?
Starting point is 01:36:07 Are they saying anything? He's not related to them. So, yeah. You didn't even know he was sick, huh? No, I had no idea. I'm kind of processing right now. All right, let's do a different new story. Bobby's other Story
Starting point is 01:36:20 Amy, I could have swore You told me that they weren't doing Groundhog Day this year because of COVID I could have swore you said that on the show Didn't she? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:29 Sounds familiar. What? Yeah, I said it was virtual. Oh, is that what it was? And then I said you could get a cameo. I don't know what I said. Yeah, me either. All I know is you could get a cameo
Starting point is 01:36:40 from the Groundhog. They did Groundhog Day six more weeks of winter. Oh, come on. Pucks atoni Phil. predicted as he emerged from his burrow this morning to perform his groundhog day duties. So he saw his shadow, didn't see it? What was it?
Starting point is 01:36:55 You would think it would be the opposite, right? Whatever it is. You would think if you saw your shadow, it's because the sun is out because it's warm. It's going to stay warm. The logic to this Puxetani feel, I'll never get. I don't know. Finally, you want to go, what in the world with this last story? Do you remember this song?
Starting point is 01:37:10 Of course you will. Watch me whip, watch me nay? Yeah. Nay, nay, nay. Now watch me whip. Kill it. Kill it. Oh.
Starting point is 01:37:16 Watch me. Literally, he murdered somebody. What? Dude, I didn't know that. I know, that's why I laughed. Wait, why, though? Huh? Why?
Starting point is 01:37:25 He was arrested for murder. He is 23 years old. He's been arrested for murdering his cousin. Silento? Silento, yeah. The cops found the cousin, 34-year-old Frederick Rooks shot in a Georgia Street January 21st with bullet casings.
Starting point is 01:37:42 No motive for the shooting, but police have surveillance footage linking Salento. to the scene. Whoa. His real name is Ricky Lamar Haunk. That's hardcore. Would you yell, Eddie?
Starting point is 01:37:55 Kill it. Yeah. Because it's part of the song, and I didn't know that story. So that was weird. Play that clip. Now watch me with. Kill it.
Starting point is 01:38:03 Oh, okay. I thought you were spilering. No, man. I don't know that story. There you go. That's your news. Thank you. Bobby's Day.
Starting point is 01:38:12 Story. I just have no interest in going to space. at all. Ever? No. And now, you know, this guy, he's a billionaire, and he's now bought one of those SpaceX flights, and he's putting some of the other seats up for auction.
Starting point is 01:38:27 Yeah. And it's all going to charity. But I just, I think about, I get scared sometimes in an airplane when I hit a little bit of turbulence. Right. Can you imagine being up in space? Because there's nowhere to go.
Starting point is 01:38:37 SpaceX says it will launch four private individuals into orbit around the Earth for a mission later this year. And so, this one dude, he goes, all right, I want to raise money for St. Jude. So what I'm going to do is he made all his money in tech and fighter jets. He's taking three people with him in that foursome. Also, I just want to go up with somebody I knew too. I wouldn't want to be uncomfortable with three people.
Starting point is 01:39:03 I'd auction off two of the seats. I'd want to at least have my buddy who I knew was a good talker. You're right, right. It's like when Caitlin and I go to dinner with somebody. I'm not the most outgoing person. I stay quiet when I'm not on the air. Thank goodness. she can talk to anybody about anything.
Starting point is 01:39:18 I kind of need that. If I were him, I would go like, you know what? On second thought, I'm going to auction off two of these seats. So his name's Jared Isaacman. He announced Monday he's going to raise $200 million for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Wow. One health care worker for St. Jude has already been selected. Anyone donated to St. Jude in February, we entered into a random drawing for the seat number three.
Starting point is 01:39:41 The fourth seat will go to a business owner who gives money. But it's a whole thing here. Here he is talking about how St. Jude was the inspiration for this. My crazy thought process, if St. Jude succeeds, you don't need a make a wish. And that's what kind of gravitated me towards St. Jude's mission for our inspiration for endeavor. Hey, I love his attitude. If he called you up today and said, hey, Amy, I'd like for you to go to space with me. Would you go?
Starting point is 01:40:05 Yeah, no. Nope. I was already, I was thinking about this. I didn't even know you're going to bring up this story, but I read a story this morning that if you were to take your car vertically, up, like say you could, hypothetically, go up at 60 miles an hour, it would only take you an hour to get to space. And I thought, I don't even want to do that. Hey man, that's Mount Pine Little Rock. It's not bad. I thought it would take a lot longer. Doesn't space seem so much further away? But that's like if you're driving down the highway, it'd take you an hour straight up.
Starting point is 01:40:35 And I was like, yeah, even if we could do that, I have no desire. Nope. Apple may skip iPhone 13. Why do you think that is? Oh, because 13's bad luck. Like an elevator. There have been, but still floor 14 is 13. Yeah, but they don't call it that. I know. There have been questions regarding the name of Apple's upcoming series. Will it be the iPhone 13 or the iPhone 12S series?
Starting point is 01:40:59 And some people think that Apple will skip iPhone 13 because 13 is spooky in many Western cultures. I wonder what that's rooted in. Obviously, we can look at things and go Friday to 13. 13's been an unlucky number. I wonder why 13, and our crack research stage. know as Mike D. Just one dude. We'll be looking it up over there.
Starting point is 01:41:18 Like what's the basis of 13 not being lucky or being unlucky? But yeah, there you go. What's crazy is Taylor Swift seems to have a lot of success, and her favorite number is 13. Is it 13? Yeah. Are you sure about that? I am sure.
Starting point is 01:41:36 Yes, 100%. She sounds sure about it. Okay. Taylor Swift and Dan Marino. Number 13. Oh, yeah. You know what I want to play? Speaking of St. Jude,
Starting point is 01:41:44 And I think we're finally going to get to put this concert out later this year. But Eddie and I have a band called The Raging Idiots. And we did a show. It was a year ago. Starting point is 01:42:03 Do we have a clip of Heath Sanders from his EP? We don't have a clip of Heath Sanders from his EP? Okay. Here, we're going to play. Could you guys hear right? No. No. Okay.
Starting point is 01:42:13 Okay, it doesn't matter then. Let's play Heath Sanders. This is the million-dollar show at the Ryman Auditorium. This is him doing faithfully. Hey, guys, so because of licensing roles, we can't play anything with music on this Iheart radio channel or podcast anymore. But you can go to Bobbybones.com to see it. So check that guy out. He was literally working on an oil field. And he moved to Nashville one day because he was found on Facebook. And the next thing you know, here he is.

Starting point is 01:47:19 he probably wrote it. He wants to be pepper sprayed. Hey, Mike, I don't understand why you want to be pepper sprayed. What about it that you see people doing is appealing to you? It looks awesome if somebody can get pepper sprayed and take it. Like, I've seen videos where they take it right to the face
Starting point is 01:47:34 and have no reaction to it, and I think I could do that. Andy in Tampa, Florida is on. Andy, how are you? Do you hear how crazy Mike is right now? Yeah, I don't understand why he actually is volunteering to do this. Not even just volunteering. He's going, hey, please do it to me.
Starting point is 01:47:53 It's not like I said, okay, I have a can of pepper spray. Who wants it? And he's like, you know what, I'll do it. No, he says, hey, I have brought my own can of pepper spray. Please spray me in the face. Yeah, he's like, hey, I have this wish fulfill my dream. Yeah, it's the weirdest make a wish I've ever done. And do you say you worked in law enforcement?
Starting point is 01:48:10 I've been in law enforcement. I've been pepper sprayed twice. The first time, it's like if you were to walk into Satan's den, that's what your face is going to feel like. Oh, my. And then on top of that, throw sand in your eyes. Oh. The second time, the second time, it's not so bad because you know what you're getting. Mike, does that make you want to back out?
Starting point is 01:48:33 No, I'm ready to walk into the den. It doesn't faz him. Okay. I don't feel comfortable doing this, but I will do it. Nice. And I'm going to spray you, and then I'm going to run the other way. Because if you breathe it in, that stuff hurts. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:49 All right, Friday show. Okay. Oh, he's pumped. You should wear goggles and a mask. I didn't even finish saying Friday show. And he's, look, wait. Yes, yes, yes. Can have another?
Starting point is 01:48:57 Can have another? All right, Friday show around this time. All right, I'm ready for it. We will pepper spray Mike D. By his own request. So weird. All right. Thank you, Mike Dee. Weird, man.
Starting point is 01:49:10 All right. You guys can call us if you want. 877, 77 Bobby. The question we were going to ask about Amy's daughter, she's now 13 years old. Yep. What does she want to do? She wants to fly by herself. She wants to go to Austin to see family and friends there.
Starting point is 01:49:25 And on Southwest, tickets are so cheap right now. And I guess she saw me talk about that. I was looking at some flights. I was like, I can't believe how cheap this is. And she's like, can I go? I'll go by myself. I really want to see if I can navigate through the airport, find my way from point A to point B, and get to Austin all by myself. And my first reaction was, no way, why would we even do that?
Starting point is 01:49:48 But when I was 12, I flew to see my dad for spring break, but it was different. I mean, my parents were split up. My dad lived in another city. So I went to go visit him like that. It seemed like that was out of necessity. We had to do that. So this would be more out of, she just wants to try to fly for fun and see if she can do. it and she could visit family and friends.
Starting point is 01:50:09 I don't think there's a difference in why you're doing it. If you could have handled it at 12, she's probably way smarter than you. Oh, for sure. At least in knowing how to work technology. Phone. The big message board. Who to go talk to? And I will say anytime we've flown as a family, my husband wants her to learn that.
Starting point is 01:50:26 So when we've taken trips, I mean, our son's too young to do this, but he would put her in charge. Like right, right, Stasheera, what gate do we need to go to next? and you take us there. And we all kind of had to, sometimes we ended up walking all around the airport, but eventually we would get there. And so I'm glad that he's been teaching her. So that makes me feel a little more confident,
Starting point is 01:50:44 but I just didn't know at 13 if that's something I should let her do. Her birthday's coming up, and maybe that's one of her gifts is you get to go see your family in Texas. I vote yes. I've seen smaller kids do that. Oh, yeah. Remember we saw one kid, he was probably seven, and he was checking in his bags. And the lady goes, he does this like every month. Yeah, like every day is flying cross country.
Starting point is 01:51:05 to see his dad or something. Amy, he wasn't with another adult. It was crazy. He was up, okay, here I am. Goes his bag up there. He's like, I'm going this flight, this. But he printed it out, got his ticket, followed us into the line.
Starting point is 01:51:17 Okay. I mean, that definitely helps. I think she's capable. I just didn't know. And there's no connection. Right, it would be nonstop. That puts a wrinkle into it. If you have to land in Kansas City,
Starting point is 01:51:29 then find the flight to Wichita, then go to Wichita. Or take a tram or whatever. I think that's different. Okay. I vote yes. Show? Yes or no? Totally, yes. Yeah, go for it. I mean, it's just walking to the gate and getting on a plane and someone
Starting point is 01:51:41 be waiting them for her when she gets off. Okay, getting a yes from Eddie is huge. Because Eddie doesn't let his kids do anything ever. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I'm saying I would do it with my kid, but yes, for sure. You're a 13-year-old, you wouldn't let it do it? No, I would. I mean, it'd be a thing where I'd really be worried about it because, again, like him around an airport could get lost, don't know where he'd end up, but I think he can pull it off. So, yeah, 13's the right age.
Starting point is 01:52:03 Eddie would let his son do it, but he'd book a flight and stand 15 feet behind him and like follow him the whole way. There was a story about a message in a bottle where if you put a message in the bottle how far it will actually go in the water. And so about 250 miles in a year is what a message in a bottle will do. What it reminded me of is lunchboxes message in a balloon. And if there's been any update, has anyone called to say, hey, we found your balloon with a message in it? Nobody has reached out at all. So it must be still up there flying around. Oh, I don't think that balloon's still up in the air.
Starting point is 01:52:38 It's definitely down. Oh, how do you know? How do you know how long a balloon lasts in air? I think scientists have tested this. Yeah, it was a helium balloon, but it wasn't some super duper helium balloon. Yeah, I don't think it's going to be up there for two weeks. Oh. Well, yeah, no one.
Starting point is 01:52:50 I mean, so it must be just laying there waiting for someone to open it and grant me my wish. Or they got it and they're like, creepy. Or it's fallen. It's in some tree somewhere and it's never going to be found. Or someone found it and was like, this is stupid. and threw away. That could be it too. Beth and Virginia is on the phone. Hey, Beth, thanks for calling the Bobby Bone Show. What's going on?
Starting point is 01:53:08 Hey, Bobby. Hey, I wanted to tell you a story about a time my friends sprayed himself with Mace and the face. Okay. So I had a key chain of Mace because I used to run a lot and I would keep it to protect myself. And we were all at the beach and it was a bunch of friends and it was sitting on the kitchen counter. And my friend Joe picked it up and thought it was a flashlight and literally sprayed himself directly in the face with his maize, with my mace. And the mace filled up the entire room. Like, none of us could breathe.
Starting point is 01:53:39 We were all screaming and running. And so I start Googling on my phone what to do. And I'm like, Joe, go get in the shower. Go get in the shower. So he proceeds to get in the shower. And then I read a little farther. And it's like, the mace will go down, like, farther down your body in your private areas and see you. So then we're like, Joe, get out of it.
Starting point is 01:54:01 And it was a huge fiasco. We ended up getting in the freezer and getting some frozen meat to put on his face because his eyes swelled shut. So I just like, don't recommend spraying yourself in the mace. I mean, in the face with mace, but it will really hurt you and hurt everyone in the room. Is there a significant difference of pepper spray at mace though? I don't know. I mean, that's what I wonder, because Mike D wants pepper spray. Does that mean it's more natural?
Starting point is 01:54:29 You know, is it a more organic? Oh, like a jalapenia. I thought it was just a different way to say it. I don't know if the ingredients are different. Is Mason pepper spray different? Good question. Does anybody know? Has anybody ever been spraying the face with any of this?
Starting point is 01:54:40 No, never. No, I had pepper spray. I told you my first performance at church, my sister and I were doing a duet and my sister's boyfriend, now husband, was probably 13 years old and playing with my mom's keychain and sprayed her pepper spray.
Starting point is 01:54:54 And during our whole performance, everybody was coughing. Ruined it. Probably ruined your whole career. It was. Yeah. That's probably what happened. Is there a difference?
Starting point is 01:55:03 Yeah, Mace is classified as an irritant and is similar to tear gas. Pepper spray is classified as an inflammatory agent and will immediately encapitimate. I don't know what that is it says. There you guys. Incapacitation. That's a big word, guys. What's the word again? Incompacitated.
Starting point is 01:55:25 That's word like just cuts your head off. No, no, go ahead. Go ahead. Say it again? encapscapitated incasipatate what do you call it like? No no no no no
Starting point is 01:55:34 work it out because I struggle and I work it out. I'm looking at it. It's a big one man It's like four syllables at least. Do it slow. Encap Acisitate
Starting point is 01:55:45 Wow, this is like my kids dude It's like me reading with my kids. Go ahead. And we'll immediately Encapitate and how it ain't incapitate Encapitit
Starting point is 01:55:55 Encapitated How do you say How do I The first syllable's in You can do it lunch You can do it C. Cah Cah
Starting point is 01:56:06 Oh, it's not cap Encaputcitate No You're rushed in the last part Immediately Incapicitate Incapititate Guys that's a tough one
Starting point is 01:56:21 Hold on Hey lunchbox I can be $5 if you get it Your next chance Okay You have one shot For $5 dollars Let me know when you're ready
Starting point is 01:56:27 Oh man, hold on How come they don't write it that way where the dots? You know what I'm talking about? Like here you. $5 on the line. Okay. Like with the syllables. You know, I'll tell you what?
Starting point is 01:56:38 Let's go on the wallet here. $20 on the line. Oh, my gosh. If you can get it right this time. He's going to say it perfectly now. Okay, let's see. It's right here on the edge of the table. Oh, I heard it's a $20.
Starting point is 01:56:49 There it is. One shot, though. If you mess it up, you're done. Here we go. Take your time. Inca passes it. Oh. Incapacetit!
Starting point is 01:57:02 Incompatited! Incapacited! That's like, you know, words are just hard sometimes. Man, that's a hard word. I don't even know how you say it. Well, like, for us... Hold on, team. How do you say it?
Starting point is 01:57:13 Incapacitated. Or it tated. I didn't know. It's written. Okay. Incapacitate? Okay. Well, what's that word when you have to, like, check yourself in on your own
Starting point is 01:57:24 recoginscence? Reconan. I can't ever say that word. Yeah, reconson. If I read that, if I'm reading that, I always say recognizance. Amy used to say, you know when they have a biopic coming out? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:36 Biotic. A what? Last night, Kailen was hitting me hard about me saying TV. She was like, you always say the, could you guys do it too, make fun of me? Ever saying the word TV? She's like, it's not TV. TV? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:51 When Ray did this segment last week, he was like, that's the word you say that's funny. And she was like, do you realize you say TV funny? And I was like, no. She goes, you're like, I'm a martial TV. TV. That's funny. Okay. That's a wrap.
Starting point is 01:58:04 What? Which is it? Biopic or Biopic? It's a biopic. Like a picture. Okay, I just forget. Like a biography picture. Biopic.
Starting point is 01:58:11 Biong. Bones, get your money out. Thank you. Here are your biggest three songs in country music this week. At number three, it's Darius, Beers and Sunshine. At number two, Kenny Chesney, Happy Does. He's the poster child for Happy Is Happy Dunds. And at number one is Luke Cone.
Starting point is 01:58:38 better together. Things just go better together. That's his second week in that number one spot. The number one alternative song is from Billy Eilish, Therefore I Am. Every Billy Elish sound the same to me. I just thought. I'm Billy Elish. I'm singing the same song.
Starting point is 01:59:02 I'm just titling it something different. Yeah. I hear it. But this music isn't made for me, so who am I to say? Well, I'm going to say it. It all sounds the same to me. It's like dance music, though, at times. A lot of that sounds exactly the same to me.
Starting point is 01:59:18 Right. But it's not made for me. Some people might listen to what we like and think, oh, that sounds the same. Some people listen to country music and say the same thing, and they're not right. So I know I'm not right either, but Billy Alice, oh, sounds like this.
Starting point is 01:59:29 Number one, hip-hop song is from Pop Smoke. What You Know About Love? Is he dead? He is dead, right? What? Yeah. How did he do this? When did he die?
Starting point is 01:59:41 I don't know, but I just... He died last year, right? Wow. What was it? What were you yelling at me? Oh, so yeah, he's dead. He died out about five months ago. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:50 Late last year. Got a number one song right now. Tupac. Don't confuse him with Tupac. No, no, he got shot. Because he still came out of all this music after his death. Oh, I'm sure. That's what I was hitting Dan and champ about.
Starting point is 01:59:59 I was like, how much you got saved? Okay, something happens to you guys. All right, there you go. That's the list of big songs right now. Yeah, look at that. No one professionally's pop smoke was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was considered by many to be the face of Brooklyn Drill. Amy, what's going on today?
Starting point is 02:00:16 Oh, man, I've got therapy today, and then Hair Day for Stasiro, which will take, you know, seven hours maybe after school. So I think it's going to be a late night for her. What about you? I have a fence guy coming to quote me some fence because we have to build a small fenced area for the dogs to be able to go out all the time. Instead of them just running.
Starting point is 02:00:35 Yeah, which they do, but it's just a pain in the butt sometimes. So doing that, I'll be at the opera for a lot. little bit tonight, taping some stuff for my opera show on Saturday. So that's it. Thank you guys. We will see you right here Wednesday, hopefully.
