The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-show.
Here are your top three songs in-country music this week.
at number three is Jason Aldeen got what I got.
When I got what I got, I don't miss what I'll
Number two is Lee Bryce, one of them girls.
And number one is first number one in four years.
Tim McGraw.
I call Mama.
I call Mama.
I bought a slim gym and the coke.
Parked out by the water just to watch that river flow.
Grab my guitar from the backseat.
wrote a song just for me
there's your top songs
yeah I got a question here
he says hey when you go through drive-thrus Bobby
at fast food restaurants do people ever recognize
your voice how about the others on the show
where do you tend to get recognized the most
I don't I don't have a distinct voice
it's hard to do an impression of me you can do an
impression of things that I say
but it's hard because I don't have a great voice
you know I never got into broadcasting
because I thought my voice should be heard
so no
never the only time people will say something
my voice is if they recognize me and they go,
do that thing you do. And I'm like,
what thing I do? They're like, when you talk,
I guess what I do. It's how I talk on the radio too.
They're like, yeah, you're right. It just doesn't
sound the same. I'm like, yeah, because you can see my mouth
moving. So no, never. You?
No, never. Eddie, you? No. And if people do, they wouldn't tell me.
The thing about Eddie is you can almost do an impression
of Eddie? Do it.
No, no, no, you can.
Me and people want tell me. So basically, just pinch your nose and you sound like me.
The only person with a really distinct voice is lunchbox.
Do you ever get recognized by your voice?
All the time.
All the time.
Okay, we're being serious.
They're not being serious.
All the time.
Grocery stores at the park, anywhere.
And they're like, yeah, man, you sound just like lunchbox.
Don't tell me your lunchbox.
I was walking the dog there day.
And he starts barking.
I was like, hey, calm down.
The guy goes, wait a minute, are you lunchbox?
I recognize that voice.
It's all the time, nonstop.
So I try not to talk when I'm in public.
Okay.
You guys don't believe me.
You love getting recognized.
You love getting recognized.
They'll talk louder.
I do sometimes, but then sometimes I'll be walking through this.
Blotch, box, lunchbox.
I just, I'd like I can't hear.
Oh, you ignore them.
Yeah.
But I know that they know.
And you can hear, you can see people sometimes I'll be talking to my wife.
And you'll see people whispering because they recognize my voice, but then they don't say anything.
I'm like, yeah, no, it's me.
Don't worry.
And you wave at them like that.
Yep, I just give them the acknowledgement.
Here's the voicemail we got last night.
This is about Ray's bets.
Here you go.
I thank Ray Mundo for the free money.
Yay!
What did it mean free money?
Because you told me the lock and I lost again last night.
He knows the rule.
You bet against all Ray's lock.
It's true, man.
Ray, how are you so bad at picking games?
You could just go iny, me, mini, money, mo and be 40%.
But Ray says he makes money gambling.
There is no chance.
I've lost almost every bet, and I've just stayed with them because my heart's with them.
We keep a spreadsheet.
I'm typically in the 45 range.
It has dipped probably below 40 the past couple weeks.
But, I mean, I would love to refund people, but I don't have that amount of money to give
to people. Well, it's not your job to refund people,
but you should stop saying you're good at it.
I mean, that's the thing. I feel
that I have a very good grasp on games.
You've lost me a lot of money. It's my fault.
Hey, don't, not only look at me, look at Josh Allen.
That guy throws some interceptions like you wouldn't believe.
Anyway, I lost.
Blaming it on the player.
And I love running. I usually hit about 40%.
40%'s not winning.
It's a loser.
What do you want to say about telling me yet another pick and I lost again?
You asked for one more shot.
So I always say, man, my boys, they trust me.
They've stuck with me through thick and thin,
and I would hope that you would do the same.
If you want to give up on me, do that?
But ask yourself at the end of the day,
do you feel that you can continue forth without me by your side making these picks?
If you can, then do it on your own.
Move to Las Vegas.
But I'm here.
I'll have the locks, week in, week out.
Okay, in my bets with, because I think Ray is two and four for me now.
Yes.
I've made six bets on my own.
I'm five and one.
I've made sick bets with Ray. I'm two and four.
That should tell you something right there.
Trust yourself, man.
Ray, just bring him a strong lock for this weekend, man.
Just study hard and bring it back.
Give me a lot tomorrow.
I did bet more than I bet ever bet last night
because I was like, Ray's got me on this one.
Oh, boy.
At what point did you give up?
Fourth quarter.
Okay, so you stuck up with that.
I thought maybe Ray knew something. Maybe knew about their fourth quarter.
On the phone right now is Kaylee Shore.
Kaylee has a brand new podcast,
excuse me, called Too Much to Say with Kaylee Shore.
And so, hey, what's on this podcast this week, Kaylee?
Well, I signed a record deal, so I got to talk all about that.
Yeah, what happened with that record deal?
So what does that mean for you now as an artist?
Well, they paid for me to go blonde, which was very exciting.
Didn't know that was part of the deal.
But it just means that, you know, more people get to hear my music.
I have a team of people to do these things that I've been doing on my own for the past 10 years.
And you have a new song coming out next week? Is that true?
I have a song coming out on October 23rd and it'll be my first single with Timor's Records.
So like a month or so away then?
Right? No, today's October. What is today? What month are we in?
We're in October. Okay. So not this Friday but next Friday, right?
Yes.
Okay. Holy crap. I don't know where I am, what month I'm in.
her latest top five.
Well, you had a busy week.
I did.
I did.
Congratulations, by the way.
Thank you very much.
Here's what Kaylee tweeted, her top five tweets.
This has 493 retweets from her latest.
She said, do you all remember that brief period of time when everyone called Taylor Swift T. Swizzle?
Yeah, those were simpler times.
Do you remember when Taylor and T. Payne did the opening for the, I think, the video music awards where she was rapping with him?
Yeah.
Thug story?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, that was really good.
Here's another one.
Just got hit on by a stranger.
He said, if coronavirus.
doesn't take you out can I?
Ooh, good one. Is that true?
I really did get that. It was a security guard at my bank and I laughed so hard and I was like,
oh, I don't think I can do that. He's like, well, as long as I got to see a pretty smile,
it was actually really sweet. But did he get to see your smile because you got a mask on, right?
I smiled with my eyes. I did have a mask on, yes. That's a good point.
Here's a question people are asking you. Why did you sign to a New York City label if you're a country artist?
Well, I'm going to ask you that too. Why is that?
Well, I mean, I've met with so many Nashville labels.
I think I've met with every single one at least three times,
and they all told me I wasn't ready, and so I found a label that thought I was,
and I believed in my album, and they just so happened to be in New York City,
but they also work with Sturgle Simpson, but they work with Diplo, too.
So it's like this perfect in-between space for all of it.
Who's the guy that, is that your boyfriend on Instagram with you that you're always hugging up on?
Always hugging up on him. I have like two or three pictures, but yes, that is my boyfriend.
That's always hugging up.
Yeah, if it's a couple times. So how is that going for you?
It's going pretty good, actually. My sassy tweets have gone down recently because I don't have a whole lot to complain about.
I have to. And he writes nice songs about me.
Yeah. Oh, he's a songwriter too?
He is, yeah.
That's a weird deal, man, because people can write songs about you that aren't true.
They could take their own creative liberty. Trust me, if it had it happened to me,
and people get in a room and the room.
That's just good luck.
But also good luck to him because, listen,
Kaylee's put all her stuff out there too about people.
That is a place you've got to be really careful about, right?
Well, we have a song on my,
the deluxe version of my album that's coming out
that we wrote together about my ex-boyfriend during quarantine.
So I think if we can go there, we'll probably be fine.
You and your new boyfriend wrote a song about your ex-boyfriend?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's interesting.
I know, man.
Music so weird.
Well, listen, check out Kaylee's podcast.
It's called Too Much to Say with Kaylee Shore,
where she talks about getting a record deal.
Do you talk about how hard it was to get this record deal and, like, the struggle?
Oh, yeah.
I really go into it because I had some people on Twitter sort of throw some shade about me
signing with a non-Nashville label,
and so I really broke it down and talked about why I chose to sign with an NYC one.
Well, it's good to talk to you,
and hope everybody checks out too much.
to say with Kaylee Shore.
Kaylee, good to talk to you.
See you soon, okay?
All right, bye, guys.
Bye, bye, bye.
Is that too much?
Whatever.
I'm going to flustered right now.
There's also Velvet's Edge
with Kelly Henderson.
She talks to the founder
of Keep a Breast Foundation,
Shannie Joe Darden,
about the breast casting
that she's done for a Nashville exhibit
and also shocking facts
about breast cancer
and how you can start
prevention at any age.
And that's the Velvet's Edge podcast.
All right.
I've got to get off pretty soon.
We've got to do an interview.
For Friday's show
with Michael
Rooker who...
I'm pumped about that.
Do you know who he is?
Yes, but I know him from Days of Thunder.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah, he was the Cole Trickles rival, Rowdy.
I knew him as Merle in The Walking Dead.
And he was also Yondu and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Yes.
So...
The dude's real dad.
Or the guy that, I guess, raised him.
Yeah.
Dictional character.
Like a bunch of dudes in that, but yeah.
I just know him from the Walking Dead mostly when he came on.
Yeah.
So we're going to talk to him.
I got to get off the phone.
He has a new thing coming out called Love and Monsters.
What is that?
A movie?
He plays a character named Clyde.
Yeah.
Is it a cartoon?
No.
It's not?
No.
Oh, cool.
You know all about it, Mike?
Do you want to get in some questions in this interview?
Oh, it's R-O-O-K-E-R.
Yeah, R-O, like Looker.
Oh, yeah.
Rooker.
I typed it with a U instead of two O's, and that guy plays for the Cups.
Nice.
I'm glad they didn't bring up any questions about baseball.
All right, we're out of here.
Amy, what's on four things with Amy Brown this week?
Well, tomorrow I have on Matthew West.
He's a singer-songwriter in the gospel world and full of awesome stories and lots of inspiration.
Like, I love all the interviews that I do, but definitely a favorite at the moment.
All right.
By the way, there's a story that says, to make more money in the stock market, don't listen to the experts.
And I would say, to make money and gambling, don't listen to Ray.
Yeah, good one.
But the big story was experts don't know as much as you think they would.
and I thought Ray was an extra.
I don't know why I thought Ray's like.
The stock market thing's always funny to me too.
You're like, well, the stock market's up.
Very few people have stocks.
Very few people have actually making money from that.
But if you want to make money on it, don't listen to the experts.
It's Ray or the stock.
Okay.
All right, we're getting into today's show.
All right, thanks, guys.

Morning.
Hope everybody out there's in a good mood.
If you're not, we're going to try to put you there.
These are some voicemails from last night.
As soon as I walk in, I have a page of all the messages that you guys left last night.
This is Sarah from Overland Park, Kansas.
Bobby, congratulations to you and Caitlin.
How exciting.
My question for you, Bobby.
If you are willing to share, I'd love to hear the story,
or how the conversation went when you asked Caitlin's dad for his blessing in marrying her.
Good question.
Do you know?
I mean, I know that you talk to him.
I didn't tell you what happened.
I don't know exactly what was said.
No.
Did you ask your daughter's dad, Eddie?
My wife's dad.
I don't have a daughter.
You are your daughter's dad.
You have a daughter.
I did, yes.
But I waited until the very last minute.
I was in the restaurant and I went to the bathroom and called him.
You were in the restaurant the day of?
You were going to propose and then you went to the bathroom and called you?
As soon as we left the restaurant, I was going to go to the place where I was going to propose.
And so I'm at the restaurant being like, I got to go to the restroom.
And I called him and said, all right, I'm about to do it in the next hour.
Wait, why did you wait?
Why did you do that?
I just couldn't find the right time.
Like, you just, I don't know.
I just never found the right time to do it.
And I'm like, I'm running out of time.
I got to do it now.
How did you start the conversation?
Just quick.
Hey, real quick, dad.
I'm in.
Real quick. I'm in the bathroom at the restaurant. I'm about to propose to your daughter. I just want your blessing. And he said, oh my gosh, right now? Yeah, right now on the next hour. He said, absolutely. Go, go. Good luck. You got this. Also, you really don't want his blessing because you were doing it.
Yeah, but that's the thing always, right? Like, you're asking for permission like they're ever going to say, maybe some people say no. But for the most part, they're just always like, yeah, sure.
Luxbox, you talk to your wife's dad? No, because she's the one that brought it up. She's the one we were on the first.
phone and she was like, we were getting, my brother's wedding was approaching. We were talking about it.
And she goes, well, I think we should get married. And I was like, are you serious? And she said,
yes. I said, okay. And so that's how we kind of did it. And then her and her mom and sister went and picked
out a ring. So I never talked to her dad. Didn't have that conversation. I guess he's cool with it.
And here we are now. And Eddie, to answer your question, I had a buddy. The dad told him no. He was,
he said, you're not mature enough to marry my daughter yet. Wow. Yeah. Did you get on the knee at all for
your wife? No, never got on the knee.
I mean, like, so she went and picked
out the ring with her sister and her mom, and then
I was in town from my brother's bachelor party.
I went to the ring store and picked it
up with her, gave it to her, and then
I, that was it. Like, I gave it to her in the store.
They should make a movie. Oh, so romantic.
By that, right? I mean, it was perfect. Like, it was perfect.
And they took pictures of me in the store and they, yeah,
I mean, no need. A Nicholas Sparks book.
Nice. Right. Ray, you talk to your
fiance's dad, huh? Yeah, I went up to
to his property. He was chopping down a tree.
and we had a beer. It was great. And we had a good talk.
I did it months beforehand.
How'd you bring it up?
I just kept texting him. I'd say, hey, man, I really need to talk to you about something
pretty serious. And he'd be like, all right, I mean, I think he knew we were going to have
the talk. But then when we actually did have that moment, he was like, I'm glad this is what
you wanted to talk about. So this is what I did.
I hadn't seen them in a couple of months. They had come to the house, her parents.
And I couldn't really find a time to get away because we were all together all the time.
So probably a week or so out, week and a half out when I was, I got the date in for sure of the proposal.
I had Matt Carney coming.
I had my friend Keaton who designs and does people's houses.
I gave her my vision for what I wanted the barn to be like and she had agreed that that was a good date for her.
Once I solidified the date, I was like, okay, I got to call him.
So, but what I did first, I wanted to let him know I was going to call him.
And I just didn't want to have that awkward, hey, so I'm calling you because
I wanted to let him know that when I called him
what it was going to be about.
So I sent him, you know, I don't text really
a lot anymore. I just do voice memos.
I just press the little button.
And I said, hey, can you talk in the next few hours?
I was driving to the opera.
I said, hey, I'm driving half an hour here,
but I finished shooting at this time, drive back.
I said, it's about time.
I need to talk to you about Caitlin.
And so that's what I said.
So he knew that when we started talking,
then it didn't have to be awkward.
I just wanted to avoid the awkwardness of,
hey, so how's your day?
Do you watch your game last night?
By the way, can I marry your daughter?
Yeah.
So I got him on and I was like, hey, I have the ring.
We're going to do it Sunday.
But it's important to her.
It's important to me if, you know, you give us your blessing.
And he's like, yeah, of course, thousand blessings.
It's great.
The only awkward, clunky part was me sending a message beforehand, that warning shot going,
coming in.
A little bit, do you feel weird as a 40-year-old had to call the dad to ask permission?
It's important to her, so whatever.
It definitely feels weird though.
I mean, it doesn't feel natural.
As a 30-year-old man.
Sure.
But it's her dad and I respect him and I respect her mom and I respect her wishes.
And if she said you don't have to do it, I probably wouldn't have.
But she wanted me to do it.
So, of course.
So when you call the dad, has he already told the mom that what's going on or is he kind of, does he leave her out of the dark?
Oh, no.
I mean, he kept her, it kept her informed.
Yeah, of course.
They're married.
Yeah.
Well, so my parents are divorced.
And so my husband went to my dad and my mom.
separately. Oh, that's cool. Because they weren't together, but he felt like my mom, he wanted to have
the same exact conversation with her, which I thought was thoughtful. Why do you always want up us
with your husband? Yeah. That wasn't. Amy wins. Amy, Amy's husband won, all of us zero. Yeah,
yeah, I know, Caitlin's parents are. Let's not forget he was in the military. He served. He looks
like Vin Diesel. Okay. All right. No, no. He survived a plane crash. That's true.
I was saying it's not necessarily just about the dad. And,
And also, too, if other people are listening and they have a, they're marrying someone whose parents are divorced, they may want to keep that in mind as like a tip.
Yeah, like your husband did.
Hey, Amy, two to nothing.
There is a cool, hey, there is a cool feeling though.
Right after you asked him, like, when didn't you feel kind of a little bit like, all right, though, that's good.
How do you end the conversation?
Well, I just was looking forward to it, like, not looking forward.
I was looking forward to it being over.
Yeah.
Well, for weeks, because I knew I was going to have to do it.
And is this an awkward thing to do it.
That's what I was feeling.
Yes.
So I was like, well, it's going to be awkward whenever I do it.
So let me just go ahead and do it.
That's how I approach things of life, too.
Like, it's going to suck.
This is going to suck or this thing.
So I might as well just get into it and get it over with.
Yeah.
So, and it really wasn't near.
It wasn't even awkward.
It was great.
I agree.
And then what do we do?
Yeah, like, how do you end the conversation?
Like, we're breaking up.
Can't hear you.
Like later, dude.
No, they were going to stay in our cabin in Arkansas because they live in Oklahoma.
They were just going to drive over for the weekend.
And so we talked about it.
It's like, yeah, I gave a blessing.
I was like, hey, great.
Looking forward to you guys seeing you guys soon.
I know you're going to the cabin.
There's anything you guys need.
Just transition to it.
Great out.
Oh, I guess you could have said.
I give you my blessing to go to the cabin, kind of make a joke.
Okay.
All right.
Okay.
All right.
Three nothing, Amy.
Sorry.
It's now time for riddle me this.
Where I ask the adults in the room kid riddles.
And we'll see how you do.
Amy, lunchbox, Eddie.
We'll go around.
If you miss it, you're out.
Okay.
Amy, you're up first.
From the end of the riddle reading, you have 15 seconds.
What is used by others frequently but belongs to you.
What is used by others frequently but belongs to you.
Timing starts now.
I feel like this came to me too quickly that it might be wrong, but is it my name?
It is your name, correct.
Okay.
Nice work.
Let's go over to lunchbox.
Thank you.
Yep.
I fly all day long, but I don't go anywhere.
What am I?
I fly all day long, but I don't.
go anywhere. What am I? Timer starts now. You fly all day long. The only thing that I can
think of is time flies. So I'm gonna say time. You don't go anywhere. The answer is a flag.
Oh gosh. Not all time flies if we're not having fun. Yeah, I thought time to do.
Eddie, come on. Defending champion, by the way. Come on. What has words, but never speaks?
Timer starts now. I mean, I'm gonna go generic.
because I could say like a dictionary
that has words but I'm just going to go with book
A book has words but doesn't speak
The answer is a book. That is right.
Woo!
Amy
What fastens two people
yet touches only one?
What?
What fastens two people?
Like holds them together
but only touches one.
Timer starts now.
Oh.
I don't know.
You fasten a seatbelt, you fasten a, what fastens two people, yet only touches one.
A harness, a, it's got to be totally not even something that really fast.
Answer time.
A marriage license.
Your answer is time.
Go ahead.
Give me your answer.
Marriage.
Certificate.
Oh.
What is it?
Incorrect.
A wedding ring.
Wow.
Wait, I don't understand.
What fastens two people, a wedding ring.
It's like the bond.
It's an unseen bond, but the only thing the person touches is one.
Literally only touches one person.
That's hard, Amy.
You almost got it, though.
You're on the right track.
Sorry, sorry.
Eddie, this is for the win.
Come on.
If you get this, two-time defending champions.
What I'm talking about?
If you miss it, we go to sudden death with Amy.
Yeah.
Eddie.
Come on.
Almost everyone needs it.
Ask for it and gives it.
But almost nobody takes it.
What is it?
I read it one more time.
Thank you.
Almost everyone needs it, asks for it, and gives it, but almost nobody takes it.
What is it?
15 seconds starts now.
I got nothing.
Ask it.
Gives it.
Nobody takes it.
Give it.
Air is incorrect.
The answer is advice.
Got it.
Let me put Teresa on in Colorado.
Hey, Teresa, how are you this morning?
It's been really well.
Thank you.
We're doing pretty good.
We're in the middle of a game called Riddle Me This.
Amy and Eddie are down to sudden death.
If you pick the right winner, I'm going to give you a prize.
Okay.
So who would you like to win for you and riddle me this?
Okay.
I'm going to go with Amy.
Okay.
Oh.
Both of you guys write your answer down to be the same question.
Okay.
Here we go.
What do people taste twice a day but never eat?
What do people taste twice a day but never eat?
Riddle me this, 15 seconds, starts now.
Amy has lifted up for her paper.
She has her answer.
Eddie is struggling.
Are you done?
Yeah.
Amy.
Toothpaste.
Eddie?
Dang it.
Their mouth.
They taste their mouth every day.
Twice a day?
Yeah, sure.
So dumb.
The answer is toothpaste.
And there's our winner, Amy.
And there's our winner, Teresa.
Teresa, how do you feel?
Oh, man.
I feel like I had all my eggs in one basket,
and she carried them safely to where they needed to go.
Excellent job, Amy.
Amy, how do you feel?
I feel good.
Oh, I feel so good.
Thank you.
That's what we're looking for.
But still, you did a great job.
Hey, Teresa, we're going to give you a $100 Walmart photo gift card.
Walmart photo invites you to stay connected to the ones you love
by making beautiful prints and photo books and wall art from your favorite photos taken during your time spent at home.
Go to Walmart.
Have fun on us.
Thank you for listening, Teresa.
Thank you so much.
I appreciate it.
And congratulations on your engagement.
Thank you very much. What's going on in Colorado this morning?
Where do you live exactly?
I live in Parker. It's about 18 miles southeast of the capital.
Oh, nice.
And I'm about to head out to an appointment, and my four kids are walking up the street right now.
And Janie is looking like Ragamuffin.
All right. Well, have Adam.
Go be a parent, and we appreciate you listening, and we'll put you on hold for one second, okay?
All right. Thank you.
All right. There you go. Amy, nice job.
Thanks.
All right. Two situations happened yesterday.
Amy, you're first.
Okay, so I'm at Walgreens checking out.
And, well, actually, I was walking by and I saw an employee talking to someone that was
like, they were kind of a heated argument, but I didn't know what was happening.
By the time I make it over to the cash register, I'm checking out, I start to hear the
yelling, it's escalating.
The guy is being kicked out of the store for stealing.
But he's denying that he stole, but the Walgreens guy is like, no, no, I saw you take
this.
You put it in your bag.
and he pulls out what it is, is K.Y. Shelley.
But I mean, the guy was very tough looking.
And he made a comment that, like, he has, I don't know, PTSD from being incarcerated,
so he doesn't like to be touched like that because the guy was escorting him out and pulling him.
And so he's like, don't touch me. Get off me.
I've been incarcerated. You can't touch me that way.
It triggers stuff.
So then I'm thinking, this guy is about to get triggered and go crazy in Walgreens.
and this is it for me.
He's going to shoot everybody in the store and we're dead for some KY jelly.
Did you laugh though when it was a KY jelly?
No, no, no, no.
I didn't.
I had to go back and confirm that that's what it was because I saw that he was holding it.
No, I went and looked at the employee went back to family planning and put it up.
So I went and I looked at the box and was like, interesting.
You went back to see what it was.
Well, at Walrines, they have the tags on the aisle.
Yeah, go ahead.
Well, because I had to see what he was so desperate to steal.
But then it was crazy because he was so adamant that he did not steal it.
He said, I can't believe you're kicking me out right now.
This is just like cussing this guy out for kicking him out inappropriately.
But he didn't have a receipt.
And the stuff was in his bag.
And the checkout person was like, he didn't check out.
But I thought if I was this Walgreens guy too, I would be, he did have a mask on the Walgreens guy.
So that's good.
So half of his face is covered.
But I would be scared.
of making a big fuss over this and this guy was clearly angry and embarrassed that he might come back and seek revenge in the parking lot later.
Like I was like, just let the guy take the model.
Amy's like, I'll pay for his pay.
So what happened?
How did it end?
He left and then he got in a car.
He was with somebody and I saw them drive away.
But I was like, they're probably going to come back later.
Take care of this guy.
The person in the car is like, did you get it?
You didn't get it.
No, Chris, I didn't.
But he was scary.
It was scary.
I thought for a second that something could, you hear of situations or you see them in TV shows and movies where things go horribly wrong and suddenly you're on the ground with your hand over your head.
I was ready to take cover.
It was scary.
I believe you.
Sounds a little dramatic, but I believe you.
No, I promise.
This guy was fierce.
Eddie, you had a situation.
This is a great transition because that's how I felt when this was happening.
Guys, I was on my way to go pick up the boys from school.
And as soon as I leave my neighborhood, I noticed a car following me, like right from my neighborhood.
Every turn I made, they made.
I would speed up.
They would speed up.
I would slow down.
They would slow down.
There's a point on my way to school where there's a lot of traffic.
And I was like, all right, let me think.
I started looking at my rearview.
I'm like, for sure, this guy's, this guy's following me.
And so I try to pick a spot where there's a little bit of space between cars, and I go right through them.
I'm like, there's no way he can get them.
There's so much traffic.
Like, guys, he got through him and he sped up and he was on me again in less than a minute.
So what did you do after all this?
Okay, I'm talking about 15 minutes of him following me.
It takes me about 20 minutes to go pick up the six years.
What he looked like, by the way?
He was a big guy.
Do you have K.Y. Jellie in his hands?
Possibly.
Big guy.
Neck tattoo?
Bald in a big truck.
Okay.
Amy, was that him?
Oh, no, he was bald neck tattoo, but I don't know.
I didn't see a neck tattoos.
His friend had a car.
So I'm thinking like this is it.
I'm like Amy.
Like I got all these synonymous.
areas in my head. He's following me. He's going to trap me and he's going to kill me.
And so I had to make that decision. I'm going to call the cops and tell him I'm being followed.
Oh my gosh. Big Sissy Eddie. I mean, I had to. Why are you guys? I had to track him for a half you.
Did he really being followed now? Probably not. I was guys. And I'm like, in the worst case scenario,
I'm going to pick up my kids. He's going to know where my kids are. Maybe he does something to
to everyone at the school. So what do you call 911? I had to call 911. Wow. That's a commitment.
Not even 3-1-1?
No, no, because this is an emergency.
There's someone following me.
It could be dangerous.
911 emergency.
What's your emergency?
Hey, real quick, I don't know how to report this, but I'm just telling you right now, I'm being followed.
And they're, okay, please describe the vehicle, and I described the vehicle.
And as soon as I start describing the vehicle, the guy passes me, and I'm like, this is it.
He's going to start looking at me and, like, pull over.
He's eating chips, drinking a Coke, and he makes it right, and he just turns.
And I go, actually, ma'am, let's just, let's just, let's just,
scratch that.
He's no longer following.
You are such an idiot, dude.
You are such an idiot, sissy dude.
I felt stupid. I felt stupid.
Calling 911 is a big step.
I would have felt nervous doing it, even if somebody has a gun to my head.
I did. I felt really nervous, but I'm like, 15 minutes, this guy's been following me.
He's going to hurt me.
And no, he was cool.
Did he just eat his chips?
Yeah, I told her.
Both of you guys are insane.
I know.
Both of you.
What? Mine, I was about to lose my.
life over some jelly. He never even looked at you. He's just got in trouble
over a ceiling and Amy all of a sudden thinks he's going to die.
Amy had this whole scenario she was dead. Eddie called 9-1-1 because the guy was eating
chips.
All dramatic guys. Everybody in the Walgreens was dead.
In your mind. Yes, because he
was not rational. I'm telling you, he was
in another space. But nothing happened. Nothing happened.
No, I mean, he walked out and got in the car.
Exactly.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 30-second skinny.
Brett Young isn't a big fan of the cardboard cutouts at sports stadiums.
I hate to say this publicly, but I hate that.
I think it's so weird.
I understand why.
I know it's even like a source of revenue for the teams, but it's, it creeps me out.
And the NBA creeps me out, too, because they do it on screens.
And they're like four times the size of a person.
None of it feels right to me.
So everybody has an opportunity.
It's just cost a couple bucks and you pay for it.
But I don't like it.
I'd rather see an empty stadium than cardboard cut up.
That being said, that's just me.

A firefighter in Oregon is getting a new place to stay after her home went up in flames.
Trudy Boykin works for the Upper McKenzie Fire District and recently lost her house
in the holiday farm fire.
After three days of battling the blaze,
she was devastated to find out
that her home was also destroyed by it
because she never got to go back to her house
while it was happening.
But things are looking up
because there's a group called Hope on Wheels.
They are giving an RV for her and her daughter
living temporarily while they rebuild her house
and then move on to another place.
That's awesome.
Can you imagine you're fighting the fire,
not knowing it's burned your house down
because you're not there?
Right.
Because she's gone, her daughter was gone,
staying with somebody else apparently.
And you come back and your house
Correct. Yeah. I can't believe that.
And then Hope on Will swings and it goes, here. Here's an RV for you and here you go. We'll build your house. That's a great story. Thank you guys. That's what it's all about.

So he was at the gas station stealing all the newspapers.
Oh, nice.

He's on brand.
You got to think about that.
He knows who he is.
He is that person.
That's funny.

Here's a voicemail from last night.
Hi, morning studio.
I was taught because I was wondering what happened.
to the segment of What's the Haps?
I like hearing how everyone's doing and what's going on.
I think we ought to bring it back.
You all have a good day.
Okay.
When you guys request it, we'll do it.
Let's do our segment.
Where we see what's happening with everyone in their lives called What's the Haps?
Hey!
What's the Hats?
I'll go first.
So, Caitlin and I were engaged.
And she was like, let's have a wedding in the spring.
And I was like, great.
And now I didn't realize it took so long to plan a wedding.
I had no idea.
I mean, it depends.
We have like six and a half months or whatever.
And it'll be fine.
And she's not going to go crazy and like being,
but I just didn't realize that you have to start doing things now
if you want to have it done in six months.
I was like, why don't we just wait until April?
Give us a few weeks.
We'll figure it all out.
She's like, hey, that's not really how it works.
So, and she said this on Instagram for sure.
And we didn't really talk about it.
I knew she wanted a spring wedding,
but she was like, yeah, we're going to, in May.
And I was like, was that right?
So that's how you'll find each other info out.
We were together when she said it.
Oh, that's fine.
They were in the car together.
Yeah, we were in the car together.
Okay.
She was like, yeah, we'll get married to May.
And I was like, oh, they're breaking news.
Oh, okay.
So now we're kind of planning what's up.
I don't even know how many people, because we don't want a small one.
We're not going to do anything super fancy.
What's a small wedding?
20 people?
40.
There's more people on this show than that.
Okay, so medium.
And since it'll be in May, Corona's going to be over.
Hopefully.
Or the testing will be so rapid.
By then, you can get a test before you come in.
That'd be cool.
The night before.
We're going to make sure everybody gets tested if Corona is not over and people are vaccines.
Are you going to be a big part of this planning?
Not really.
It sounds like you are.
Nah, not really.
I don't think I am, but we'll see how it goes.
Are you looking at outdoor, indoor?
What have you guys talked about?
We have our place already picked.
We're not going to say what it is right now.
Oh.
Yeah.
Nice press conference answer.
That's good.
It's all like a head coach there.
We know what we're going to do,
we're just not going to say it right now.
Has there been any talk about a joint wedding with Mike D
since you guys got engaged around the same time?
There hasn't been, and I'll ask,
but I would assume there won't be.
Mike, when are you guys planning to get married?
I think we're thinking June.
Wow.
You're going to follow us, huh?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
We've got to go extra hard now so we don't get lapped.
So that's what's happening with me.
Just started to go like, all right, what's up with the wedding?
Which I thought you could really just wait until a couple months out.
Are there some things that you do know?
I mean, you don't have to share them now, but like, what kind of cake do you want?
I know nothing.
I told her, I said, hey, do whatever you want.
Like, have it at it.
Because she doesn't want anything extravagant.
And what we're doing, it's not extravagant at all.
So, that's it.
I don't know anything.
Are you wearing a tux?
We did talk about that.
She goes, what should we wear?
I said, I don't want to do black tie, but why don't we wear the suits that have the tie?
Like the, not the suit, like the tucks with a straight black tie.
Okay.
So, because, listen, my family's from Arkansas.
so hurts from Oklahoma.
Half of them are going to wear jeans.
And I'm like, great, that's how we grew up.
When you go to church or you go somewhere nice,
you just wear your nice jeans and a tuck in your shirt.
And I don't want my people to feel like they can't dress like they want to dress
when they're dressed up for something nice.
And if we're wearing tuxes, people would feel uncomfortable.
And when I grew up again, you just wore your cleanest jeans and you tucked your shirt in
and you look freaking good.
Yeah, but the people going to the wedding don't dress up the same as you.
I know, but I don't want to elevate it so much that they feel uncomfortable.
So that's really all we've talked about.
Yeah.
Otherwise, I said, hey, do what you want to do?
I asked for a themed wedding.
Oh, what thing?
Arkansas Razorbacks.
Everyone, we're red.
She said there'll be no themed wedding.
Oh, okay.
Stop that down.
I did ask that Stanley be in the wedding, our dog.
Yeah.
Except he is like a bull.
He's literally a bulldog.
She's like, he will knock everyone over.
We won't be able to control him.
She's like, maybe Stevenson can walk him down the aisle.
I was like, Stevenson can't control that dog.
I think you drag him.
Yeah.
So that's what's happening with me.
Thank you.
Amy,
what's happening with you?
Well,
my kids are on break.
So they have decided that during this time,
they want to watch,
rewatch,
because they've already seen them all,
rewatch all of the Harry Potter movies.
Well,
that holds them for a while, right?
Yeah.
So I think we're on movie three.
And so sometimes we can't even finish it at night
because they're also extremely long.
Do you have to watch them with them?
Yes.
Oh yeah, that stinks.
It's brutal.
Yeah.
I thought that could just keep them busy.
But here's the thing, and I've done the marathon with them before, and I wasn't really into it.
But this time, oddly, and I've thought of Morgan number two, because I know how much she loves Harry Potter.
I was like, I'm into it this round.
So I don't know if it just took a minute for me, but I am enjoying it.
So if you're looking for a marathon with your kids, maybe try that out.
Eddie, what's up with you?
So remember I talked about my flag football fiasco, parent wasn't happy with a team, told the coaches,
step it up or whatever.
For first graders, right?
For first and second graders, yeah.
It's pretty dumb.
But I decided to step it up.
So I am now the quarterbacks coach of the team.
Come on.
Let's start winning some games.
I mean, it's not a lot of work, really.
I just teach them how to snap the ball, get the snap,
and then how to handoff.
You don't want to be obvious with your handoff, stuff like that.
And then picking a receiver, just things like that.
Is your kid the quarterback?
Nope.
Weird that you're not, you're the quarterback coach.
Well, my kids play defense and receiving,
and both of them do.
But I just feel like I could help.
in that department because it's more one-on-one.
I'm not good with 10 kids
at once. So with the quarterbacks,
there's only two of them, and hopefully,
hopefully, I can sneak my kid in there.
Maybe to get a snapper T-D year again. To play quarterback.
Well, and their record is what right now?
0-and-4. Ray, you bet on these games?
No, I don't even know where the field is,
but I don't think there's lines for that young and kids.
All right, Lachafox, what's up with you?
Man, Corona has just been wreaking havoc on the world,
and I mean, this is the first year ever.
going to be with my family or my wife's family for Thanksgiving. We have made the adult
decision that we can't fly on the airplane for Thanksgiving, not worth the risk. And so for
the first time ever, we're going to spend Thanksgiving alone. And we're responsible for cooking
everything and making a Thanksgiving with just our family, which is a little weird.
You don't want to drive. We're driving to Oklahoma. Well, which is nine hours. Right. It's like 12 hours.
We just didn't feel like 12 hours in the car with two kids and then turning around and driving back
that 12 hours, like two days later, was worth the headache and stress.
So we just made the decision that we're not going.
We wanted to drive, but it's not logical.
But don't you guys do like the one family gets Thanksgiving and the other family gets Christmas?
Yeah, and this year was supposed to be my family Thanksgiving.
We were actually supposed to go to Oklahoma where my aunt and uncle live.
But because of Corona, they were like, ah, let's not do it.
Let's wait until next year.
So we're like, all right, we'll just go to Texas.
Then we're like, not, we're not going there either.
You'll be all right.
Thanksgiving's an easy one.
It comes and goes.
Christmas is the one. Long you're there for Christmas, you're good.
And everybody makes good Thanksgiving food.
You have to cook it. Oh, that's true. You can go get it.
You can order it, yeah.
A woman wants her ex to pay for plastic surgery because their kids, quote, ruined her body.
Okay, no.
Initial thoughts? No, no.
Yeah, no. I have no other thoughts.
A mom of three wants to get plastic surgery because she says her body has changed after three pregnancies.
She's asking her ex-husband to pay for the cost and, if not all, half because it's half as fall.
that her body is ruined.
He's refusing to cough up the money.
Who's the right?
He should not have to pay for it.
So I guess I can't even believe this is a debate, but right?
He should not have to pay for any plastic surgery on anybody else's body for any reason.
Especially as ex.
Right.
And she got kids.
Yeah, do you don't agree?
It's tough.
No, no, it's not tough.
This is tough because, and I'll tell you why.
Go ahead.
Because if they still were married and he was the...
They're not, though.
But if they were married and, you know, he was the bread, you know, the guy that makes the money in the house or whatever, and he would end up paying for it if it's their kids.
But they're not married.
I know.
That's a big part of this story.
And is she more angry at him and are really angry at her body?
Like, it seems like she's just mad at him and these are her kids.
And her body is that way because it was doing what it needed to do to carry and deliver.
healthy babies, I'm assuming.
So, I mean...
So yes or no?
No.
I go no.
The woman is delusional.
She gets $0.
I would think about it.
I would think about it.
If you were him, if you were the X.
The X.
You would pay for it.
I would hate it.
I would hate it, but I would think that if we were still married, I would help you pay for that.
If that's what you need.
They are our kids.
But you're not married.
Maybe it's a part of the expense of having kids.
Three to one.
You lose.
Yay, aye.
On the phone is Manny in North Carolina.
Mani, how are you?
Doing well. How are you?
Doing pretty good. What can I help you with?
I can really use some advice.
For stars, I want to say, congrats on the engagement.
Thank you.
I could use some advice with my fiancé at the moment.
Okay, go ahead.
So our little girl's turning one on Sunday.
And, you know, part of me is the one-year-old birthday party.
She's not going to remember it.
there's another part of me that she only turns one once.
So originally I set a budget for the party and, you know, things start adding up.
This gets added.
We need a smash cake.
We need balloons, coaster, streamers, everything.
And we've really been at each other's strokes the last, I'd say about two weeks.
She wants to make it memorable with lots of pictures and stuff
And I can use some advice as to which way to go
Okay
It's an interesting situation because obviously the one-year-old is not going to know what's going on
Correct
Right
But it's important to your fiancé and you're right
You only get one year old party
Do you have a Venmo mani?
I've got cash app and PayPal
Okay
What are you talking about what was your budget for?
this thing?
I originally started at $300.
Okay.
And what does she want to spend
fully?
She wants to up it to
$500 so that
we can, she's got a lady that
does some custom cakes.
The theme's unicorns.
And she's got this cute
cake idea that she wants
to do.
And, you know,
I understand the
smash cake, take good pictures.
But there's
she wants to
to be 500 so that we can get that special cake.
All right, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm in a giving mood.
Oh. I'm just going to send you $200 on cash app or whatever. And on me, you go ahead and have a big birthday party.
Oh, my gosh. Now, normally I would say you come to some sort of in the middle. You set that budget in the middle.
Both do you have to be happy. It's important to her more so than the one-year-old. The one-year-old won't remember it, but it's important to the family in general.
However, I'm just going to put you on hold, get your username, and I'll just send you 200 bucks.
But here's what I want, Manny.
I want pictures of this party.
I want you to send them.
I want to see that smashed cake all over her head.
I want the whole thing.
Okay?
Oh, my God.
Thank you so much.
I want you to just have a heck of a party and tell your fiance.
Just let her know that it's all about her.
You don't even have to tell her.
It's from me.
You can just say, you know what?
I'm into it.
So have a party on me.
Stay on hold and we'll be able to get your information, okay?
Oh, thank you so much.
All right.
All right.
There you go.
See, come on.
I can't do it.
Come on.
You saved him, man.
Yeah, you did.
You really saved him.
And if I can save one person,
that's one more person that wasn't saved.
I guess it works.
Yeah, yeah.
Sounds good.
I don't know.
Let me do Ricky, who's a truck driver in Georgia.
He left a voicemail last night.
Here you go.
I'm on a dating app.
If somebody started asking me for money,
should I answer any of this
or just quit talking to them,
trying to find a serious relationship?
I don't know.
I'm just asking a question
that they are taking advantage of me on that.
Thank you very much.
Good morning, studios.
Morning.
If you're on a dating app
when someone asks you for money,
get off the conversation with that person.
The end.
It's probably not even who you're talking to.
Yeah, you're talking to somebody.
maybe even in another country.
Yeah, you're talking to Chuck.
You think it's Sarah, but it's Chuck and his wighty tides.
E. Norios.
And he's got nine of these going at the same time.
Morgan, what would you advise, Ricky?
Would you tell him?
Yeah, run far away from that.
If somebody wants money from you, run far away.
You never met him.
And live on a dating app.
And just a dating app.
Yes.
Okay.
Well, yeah, I mean, but also, you know, if you go out on a date and they also ask for money,
you should probably run from that, too.
Ricky, run as hard and as fast as you can.
On right now is Tim and Kentucky.
Tim, what's going on?
Hey, how's it going, Bobby?
Pretty good, man.
Hey, I just want to tell you guys I really, really enjoy your show.
I kind of travel and drive a whole lot for a living.
I live in Kentucky, but I actually, my territory that I work in in North Carolina,
so I just want to start off and tell you all of you guys that I really enjoy the show.
And congratulations to you.
Thank you very much.
Appreciate that.
And I'm kind of in and out of my car with my job.
and I don't know if you guys have already talked about this or not,
but I was really curious how Ray Mundo felt about you, quote-unquote,
stealing his thunder the way Mike D did.
We talked about it yesterday.
I'm sorry you missed that.
We can give you a quick recap.
Ray, won't you do the honors here?
The recap is, not mad.
I learned to change my opinions and viewpoints of things.
I'm no longer a thunder guy, honestly.
Bones can get engaged.
Mike can have love.
Everybody can do it.
It's no big deal.
I don't own a month.
I don't even own a day.
But, I mean, at my actual chapel, probably shouldn't anything go down like an engagement or anything.
But outside of that, yeah, I agree.
Yeah, do what you want, man.
Yeah, I agree.
It's one thing to do it at the wedding, but another thing to do it just in general.
Tim, appreciate that call.
Thanks for listening.
Good luck.
Thank you.
Stay safe out there, man.
See you later.
Thank you.
Here's Amy's Pile of Stories.
So a pair of high school teachers in California have been placed on leave because they were busted, quote, speaking negatively about
students on an online virtual class that they thought had been logged off, and it was not.
So it was still running.
So one parent was actually able to film the conversation and posted it on Facebook.
Here's a clip of the teachers.
It does have some bleeps.
It's so frustrating.
We dance and I'm like, no, they're not.
No, they're not.
Oh, you're impressed that a kid can record a TikTok.
Wow.
This parent, tell me if you guys think I'm wrong, this parent is such a tattletail who posted this.
Yeah.
It's got to be so frustrating for teachers.
And you got to think you got kids who aren't caring online acting like they can't do it.
But yeah, they're nailing and doing all these TikToks.
They are.
Yeah, it's one button.
I get their frustration.
And now the school district is having to do a whole investigation and yada, yeah, yeah.
That stinks.
You know what?
They should have made sure to push leave meeting.
Let's be honest.
You got to push that button.
That's the first problem.
However, don't be a snitch.
Yeah.
And you know, they do that all the time.
They get to be frustrated too.
Yeah.
As a parent, don't you vent sometimes?
Sure, of course.
Yeah.
No, not this parent who told.
No, never.
Perfect.
What else?
So speaking to TikTok, a dentist was on there showing how much toothpaste you should really
use.
Bobby, how much toothpaste do you think you should be putting on your toothbrush?
I don't put a lot, and I could be wrong.
We grew up with no money and we can only have so much toothpaste, and so we only put
put a little bit because you found that it can fill your whole mouth up.
So I think I still live in that world of I probably don't put enough because I just put
a little bob.
Well, that's exactly what we should be doing.
This dentist says it should be the size of a single P.
And a lot of times in commercials, you see the toothpaste fill up the whole brush
because obviously toothpaste companies want to sell more toothpaste.
And they say it's really not necessary at all.
So even with your kids, they need to even use less than your P size.
It's just a hint of toothpaste.
And I was like, oh, man, I've been doing this wrong.
I fill up the whole toothbrush.
Yeah, he goes, the amount of toothpaste using commercials is way too much.
and then he does it X, and he flips his chair around,
and he goes, for just three and below,
this is all you need, and there's barely any on it.
Wow. That's helpful.
Just a little bit.
Yeah.
And then he continues to go up.
And yeah, like Amy said, just a pee.
However, it does feel good.
Sometimes I'll splitterge.
Cover the whole.
Give myself a hole.
And I'll do the front top and in the back,
and I do the whole stick, and I just go to town.
Okay, okay.
All right, what else?
So Kane Brown shared a video of him lifting weights,
noting that he has five to six more months
until he's realistically going to be touring again.
So then he challenged Tyler Hubbard, Chris Lane,
Jimmy Allen, Tim McGraw and John Party
to see how ripped everyone can get
before they head back on tour.
This is like a terrible challenge.
If I'm John Party, I'm like, man,
Kane Brown just sent me a message with me to get ripped.
That ain't happening.
He does look ripped though.
They go around his back.
His back's ripped.
He says he's six weeks in so far.
But, I mean, for him to challenge Tim McGraw,
like, okay.
Hey, listen, Rick.
Flair once said, if you want to be the best, you got to beat the best.
Woo.
So, yeah, good.
Good for Kane Brown.
Yeah, I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So about 60 years ago, two brothers, one eight years old, one seven years old,
ended up in the foster care system.
They were both adopted but by different families and were split up from
that moment on and had not seen each other in all of these years.
They both were curious about finding each other but just didn't know how to go about doing it
until one of the guy's daughters, she took it into her hands and she tracked her dad's
brother down.
And now they have reunited and got together.
And it's so crazy.
That is cool.
Yeah, one lived in New York, one in Tennessee.
They never, but they were never together, huh?
No, not, he hadn't seen him since he was eight years old.
That's crazy.
Remember that documentary about those, uh, yeah, the triplets?
Triplets.
Yeah, identical strangers.
Three identical strangers.
Oh, man.
How great was that?
That was incredible.
It still makes me sad thinking about it.
If you haven't seen that, it's very compelling.
You're going to feel all different ways about it.
But it's about these brothers that were split apart, and they didn't even know they had brothers.
And imagine.
You know, I think about them, like at least once every couple of weeks.
You do?
Look, I do.
For some weird reason, I think about those three brothers.
Maybe.
I don't know.
I have no idea.
And this guy was just told, hey, this guy was just told, hey, this guy,
looks like you. No, one guy went to college and saw a guy and they were like, yeah, yeah, yeah, wait,
you look just like so and so. Well, they thought it was him at first. Oh, yeah, that's right.
Yeah, welcome back. That's a great story, though, Amy. Let's not get, it's not lost on us. There you go. That's what
it's all about. That was tell me something good. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by

You know,
many guys as they get older,
they,
we have three guys in your head.
He's like 50.
I'm 40.
I'm 40.
I'm not 50.
41
Lunchbox is about to be 40
Yeah another year
I'm young 39
So guys have to deal with
Worrying about their testosterone dropping
Which is natural with aging
Do you guys worry about that?
No I don't even know what that means
Yeah I don't get it
I don't get it because I'm full of testosterone
And usually the guys that aren't are the ones to do that
Yeah
They like bark
Yeah
I had mine check because that whole bunch of work
When I got sick with my brain
and I was like in the middle
I guess I was normal for my
where I am
so I'm not gonna lie and act like I was crushing it
like him
Hey I don't need to act
I know
Have you had yours checked?
No
I don't know how you check it
Yeah honestly dude
Like if I were to lose all my testosterone today
I wouldn't even know what that means
Maybe it's already gone
What do you mean
Go
Wait
He think all of his is gone
I'm just saying maybe
I mean probably
Why?
Why?
Why?
Does that mean I can't?
It means, no, not always.
But probably not as much.
Like your drive goes down a bit.
Oh, that I'm good then.
You're not able to build muscle as fast.
I can do that.
Are you sure?
Yeah, dude, if I do push-ups for a whole...
Remember when we did that push-up challenge?
I felt my muscles growing.
That was just two, two, three days.
But yeah, I felt them.
Well, anyway, if you're interested in keeping your T-levels up,
here are some things you should look at
because they affect your testosterone levels.
eating soy products, having kids, too many carbs, lack of sleep, drinking booze, too much exercise.
This all messes with your...
Yeah.
Oh, so we shouldn't have more kids?
And stress. If you have kids, it's not great for it.
I'm in trouble.
What do you think about that?
I mean, I get it.
It all makes sense.
But there's things you can do to help it.
Okay, yeah, you gave us all the stuff to get rid of that.
Like, are you super competitive?
Are you...
But I've never been super competitive.
That's the song you never had.
Maybe I never had it.
And he's not very stressed at all.
Never, dude.
Even with four kids.
Not really?
Not really.
Maybe I just was born without tea.
Is that what they call it?
Low T. Lotee?
Eddie's low T, Eddie.
No Tietti.
Hey, that's not good, man.
No Tee.
He's got the E, the estrogen.
Oh.
Let's go over and do the morning corny.
Here we go.
The morning corny.
What do?
What do cats eat for breakfast?
What do cats eat for breakfast?
Mice Krispies.
Okay.
Oh, boy.
All right.
That was the morning corny.
I want to play John Party.
What?
It's moving right along.
Okay.
On to the next segment.
All right.
I wanted to talk about this for a second.
I'm a big loyalty guy.
I'm very loyal to my people and my teams.
and no matter what happens, I'm there.
Mostly the bad, but occasionally I get some good.
Well, Eddie is starting to look for a new football team,
even though he's a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan,
and I don't think that that's cool or fair.
Okay, okay, here. Can I say something?
Go ahead.
I sent you the note about this and a little bit premature.
I didn't know they were going to end up winning the game.
I sent it during the game.
You sent it last when they were losing.
Correct, on Sunday.
Then Dak Prescott got hurt.
Yes.
As soon as Dak Prescott said, I'm like,
I'm going to stop watching this game,
and I'm going to send Bobby this message.
Why would you give up so quick?
Because they were already not doing well
And now that our starting quarterback gets hurt
And he's out for the whole season
I'm like this just
I'm really at the point now
I've stood behind the Cowboys
My whole life
It's my mom and I connect over it
But I'm a little tired of losing
And you're gonna let one game or one season
Fones
We haven't won since the 90s
Dude I was a Chicago Cubs fan
We didn't win my whole life until recently
I'm in Arkansas Razorbacks fan
I've never seen a championship
So you feel me
I will never leave them though
Oh, man, I'm not going to.
And I just, I sent you the note out of frustration because I really thought about it.
And I even talked to some of my friends.
Some of my friends are already gone.
They're like, I'm there losers.
And if I'm their wife, I'm like, they're not loyal when times aren't good.
I know.
And that's a good point because I just taught my kids about loyalty to your team.
You know, like once you pick your team, you're loyal to and win or lose.
I just got caught in the moment and I send you the note.
And I do want to say that I take that back.
I'm still a Dallas Cowboy fan for life.
I'll allow that.
But it's tough.
Andy Dalton comes in and wins the game.
I saw that.
So you're good.
Don't worry about it.
I saw that. Thank you.
Thank you for the hope.
We're so grateful for your feedback.
And you can always send us an email.
Morgan number two, what's the email address?
Mailbag at bobbybones.com.
Let's open it up.
Bobby's Mailbag.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
I've been listening to your show going on five years now.
It was actually your show that got me listening to country music.
And now, it was actually your show that got me listening to country music.
And now,
It's easily my favorite genre.
I've been dating a girl for a few months,
and she knows nothing about country music.
She said she never really understood it,
but she knows it's important to me,
so she's going to give it a shot and listen to it.
Now, before I bombard her with all my favorite country artists,
I wanted to get your opinion on who you think,
what country artist you would suggest to a non-country fan.
Thanks in advance, Bradley.
So I thought about this,
because my favorites are very country,
and I think it would turn someone off
if I just started splashing down
with all my favorites. Some of these are
people I really like, but I have now
your top five
of the people that you let her, your girl,
here, and she'll be like, oh, then you can just walk
her out. She's in the shallow end, gets a little deeper,
then have it at it.
Is this all current country? Yeah, it's all current country.
Because, I mean, you throw
some 80s or 90s country at her. She hears Brooks and Dunn. She's going to be like,
this is not for me. You had to grow up back then
to love it or be
taught it.
And that takes a while.
Here we go, top five.
And I'm going to start with my only new, new artist on the list, and he was just in
the studio yesterday.
I think Nico Moon is a great artist to play for somebody who just loves any kind of
format.
I mean, he's got a little bit of everything in there.
He talks about growing up in a small town outside of Atlanta, so he's got his country
influence.
He's got a little, you know, he's got a little.
You know, he's got the beats in there too.
So it's the only really new one.
This is Nico Moon.
Right?
You guys good with that one?
Good, yeah.
Okay, the other four, a little more established.
At number four, Brett Eldridge.
You're not going to go like, wow, that's so, so, so country.
But he's a great singer.
He's got great songs.
And it's definitely country, but you're not going to hear a lot of banjo or
mandolin or steel inside of it.
of it.
Yeah.
Next up, and she may already know her because she's crossed over a bit, but it's still
country is Marin Morris.
Oh, I think she's not like country music after all this.
Yeah.
This is the perfect intro playlist of today's country.
I would also put probably my favorite artist that's this generation of country, Casey
Musgraves.
Because the sky is fine.
But you're stuck at...
I'm just trying to...
Everybody can love this.
And no doubt Casey's country.
Yeah.
But there's a reason some of this stuff crosses over
because it's universally just easy to love.
And my number one artist for
She doesn't listen to country,
but let's get her going.
Let's walk her in slowly.
Is Dan and Shea.
Oh.
So I should probably go to bed.
I should probably turn on.
I should quit while I'm a head.
I should probably leave you.
And, I mean, you play this.
He played tequila from Dan and Shea.
It's over.
Over.
She's in.
She's going to show up at a country festival, August the next year,
with a straw hat on and some Daisy Dukes, baby.
Let's go.
Come on.
Next thing you know, she's got John Pardy for Life tattooed across her butt.
Honorable mention was Thomas Wrett.
Yeah.
Who would you guys have put on there?
Anybody that I didn't mention?
Sam Hunt.
Yeah.
I would like to put Samhunt on that.
Sam's awesome.
Yeah.
And I was like, well, George, right?
That's old school.
I know.
Old school.
You can get her there.
You can get her there.
We'll get her there.
We'll get her there.
I know.
Anybody else I missed?
Kelsey Ballerini.
Okay.
Luke Combs.
I like Luke, too.
That's second level.
Yeah, I feel like you need it.
He's close to this.
He's the biggest thing we have in the format right now,
him and Morgan Wallin.
Like, these are toe in the water.
Yes. When you go shin deep, Luke Cone's Morgan Wallen.
Right now we're just towing in.
And then all the way in, like when you're all the way up to your neck, that's John Party, Midland.
Yeah.
Blake Shelton.
Christian.
What a boy's around here.
Yeah.
She needs a minute before she hops into some Jason Al-Dine.
Yeah, I mean, Miranda, but Miranda's probably shin.
Maybe knee.
What about Florida Georgia line?
Where's that?
Yeah, maybe.
Close.
Yeah, that's my neck.
Neck deep already.
Neck deep on FGL.
This is different levels you need to be exposed to if you've not been exposed to it or you can be turned off.
You know?
Mm-hmm.
You know what song I really like right now that's a new song?
Is this Justin Bieber Holy song?
Oh, man.
It's good.
Not Holy like Florida, Georgia Line.
It's Bieber and Chance the Rapper.
This song is so good.
Yeah.
Turn this up, right, will you?
But I might go down to the...
I love
Because the way that the sky
opens up
When we touch it's making me save
The way you hold me, hold me, hold me, home me, home me, home me.
Feel so holy, holy, holy, holy, holy
Because the way you hold me
I feel so holy
I like that guy now a lot more
I've always thought his music was good
But it was always like, nah, what's Bieber about?
But Kaylin went to church with him and was like,
He's the greatest guy.
And she was like,
as a normal person, if you just are around him, you go, man, he's just a good normal dude.
But because of all that crap, he went through young when he's just, like, exposed.
I think he went through a lot of rough stuff.
Oh, being young and stupid?
Weird.
He's the only one.
Yeah, right?
We just didn't have access to as much and weren't put out there.
But she loves them.
I mean, she would go, they had like a little soccer group.
She would go watch them play.
Like, she was friends with them or that group at her church.
So, but this song is great.
The way you hold me,
hold me, hold me,
holy,
feel so holly.
Do you know that one?
I don't, but I like it.
Eddie, you know that one?
Yeah, man, there's two songs
when we're in the car
with a car full of kids
that they say turn up.
This is one of them
and then still
watermelon sugar.
Hey, turn it up.
That's a good one.
Watermelon sugar.
Ha!
Okay, gang,
place your bets.
Do you think
Lunchbox was able to trick his dad
into thinking
that he would,
lunchbox was a telemarketer?
Oh.
Oh, and fun.
phone call? Yeah.
Oh, no.
No, no way.
No, his dad would be on to him so fast.
And listen to his voice.
Lunchbox called his dad, acting like he worked for a voter registration company.
So something that he might listen to.
Did you use a fake voice?
Yeah, I'm not very good at voices, so I practice, and this is the voice I came up with.
Yeah, this is Nico from the voter registration.
No.
Like, you could think of no name except an artist that had just come in?
I just knew that Nico had just come in.
And it's your voice.
But I don't know.
No, that might disguise it.
It's pretty good, man.
How are you doing today, sir?
Can I ask you a few questions about the upcoming election?
Do we think lunchbox was able to trick his dad?
I still say no.
His voice is so distinct.
There's no way.
No, no way.
But maybe.
I'm going to go, yes.
You think so?
I don't know the answer.
Because you're Nico, man.
Hi, hi, this is a voter registration.
Now you sound like no deed key.
I don't know.
bit. That's kind of in the inspiration, too.
Here is lunchbox calling his dad trying to see if he can trick him.
Yeah, this is Nico Jackson with
Voter Registration.org. Is this Mr.
B. Yep.
I guess I was just calling to see a couple
questions about the upcoming election
that's going to be happening in November.
Okay. Will you be participating in this
upcoming election? Are you going to cast a ballot?
Yes.
Do you plan on voting online? Do you
voting mail-in ballots? Are you going to go early
voting? Mail-in. Have you already applied for the mail-in ballot? I've already got it. Okay, and now we're
going to ask you a couple questions on the issues in your area. There is a law that they are looking
to make it required in the Travis County area that you park in your garage. Will you vote pro or
negative on that? Negative. I've never heard of such thing. Also, we are talking about maybe limiting the
amount of flushes in your toilet
per day. Would you say
you flush four or more times
per day? Is that it?
That was part one, there's part two.
Oh, he hung up. He fooled him.
Yeah, he hung up. Because what do you do when you believe it's a telemarketer?
You hang up. Yeah, I thought he hung up.
There's another part? Okay, here you go.
Oh.
Sorry, Mr. My cell cut out, so we got disconnected
where this is... No, I hung up on you, you're an idiot.
Does he know that it's here?
There's no idea!
There's no way.
No idea!
Did you ever tell him?
Yeah, I called him from my cell phone and I'm like,
this is Nico Moon, he goes.
Nico Jackson.
Whatever.
He goes, is that someone messing with me from the show?
I was like, it was me, he goes, oh, oh, he goes, I was like, I'd never heard of the garage thing.
I was like, how, when are these laws coming from?
Did you make all those up?
Yeah.
Well, pay me
How bad, okay, you get the money
We each bet $10, remember?
We did.
No, we did not.
Don't remember.
No, I don't remember.
Nico Jackson, that's pretty good.
I got a good album in voice.
You participate in early voting?
I wonder if you can try to fool, like, our boss, Rod, with Nico Jackson.
I can try.
Try to call it Rod.
What's the scenario of this stuff?
You're Nico Jackson, you have a new artist.
Oh, love it.
You have a new artist that you'd like to get in front of it.
of them who's been, has over 10 followers on Instagram now.
Okay.
He's really, really blowing up.
All right, try that for tomorrow.
Nico Jackson back tomorrow.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Some people still hold on to that dream playing Rex sports as adults and you guys make
fun of me for doing it.
Well, there's goalies in Canada and the U.S. that play hockey once a week.
And they're making money for cancer research.
Every save they make, people donate money to
cancer research and so far they've raised over
$100,000. First of all,
we don't make fun of you for playing any sort of rec
sport, do we, Amy? No, never.
We make fun of you because
you talk about how you're the captain, but you also
are the manager. Yeah, you wash the jerseys.
I do do that. I do. I bring
the team jerseys and I am the captain
and you act like you're the best player on the field.
And then we find out, you're just
a contributor.
If you just didn't build yourself up so
much, it's like you're talking about
how cool you were in high school and everybody from high school
calls because he wasn't cool at all. Yeah, and then I put my
Brown King hat on and everybody's like, well, you know what? The Crown, the King is here.
Anyway, we don't make fun of you for playing Rec League soccer. But these guys, that's awesome.
They found something awesome. They found something great to do for somebody else while
doing what they love. So, all right, there you go. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Let me play voicemail number one from last night. This is
Monica from Austin, Texas.
Hi, good morning studios.
I'm a long-time listener, first-time caller.
Body, I just had a little problem.
For the past two weeks, you've ruined the results
to dancing with the stars.
I can't watch until the next day on Hulu,
and I stay away from all news until I can see it.
So my question is,
is there any way you can give some kind of spoiler alert
before you tell the results of the night before?
Yeah, sure.
I mean, that's news, you know,
and results shows live events.
I kind of don't go, hey, spoiler.
Because if you don't catch it, it's hard.
It's like a football game.
Someone going, hey, I can't watch till tomorrow.
It's kind of on you to avoid everything.
But I will try to do better.
I appreciate that note.
I'm taking it in right now.
Try to remember.
But I'm going to try, Monica.
You know to be a better person.
All we can do is try.
Yep, that's right.
Okay, thank you for that.
Let's do the big story.
Bobby's Big.
Story.
Hey, congratulations to 19-year-old Olivia Stone.
She getting married.
19's a little young, but she's getting married.
I love to see somebody happy.
She is marrying an 89-year-old resident in the senior living center where she works in Russellville, Arkansas.
No.
Why?
Lee Hopkins has dementia.
He cannot remember names and dates.
Olivia Stone bragged on social media about her new relationship status and the money that she will certainly inherit upon her rich husband's death.
Oh, well, that's why.
She hopes to become a sugar mama, quote, and attract men by being a wealthy widow.
interesting.
Lee Hopkins, this 89-year-old,
does not have any immediate relatives.
His wife died in a car crash.
He was at the wheel, got lost, and wandered 25 miles
from their intended destination.
But she's 19 marrying an
89-year-old. And she's open
about all this stuff. Wow. Yeah. Like, she's telling
you what her role is. He doesn't get Snapchat.
He's not able to see what she's saying. I know, and I was wondering,
where does he have any daughters? Why are they
not helping him? No immediate relatives.
Is this a case where someone should hop in?
Yeah.
This is taking advantage of the elderly.
I think if he has dementia, it's tough to be able to expect how bad it.
It depends how bad it is, right?
Do you take a will from someone who is in the middle of dementia?
Don't you have to do clear mind, sound mind?
Yeah, I don't know.
I think you would probably have to.
I don't know what's up to people.
I think other family members are the ones that need to step in.
But he has to have any.
No family members.
And then also if he doesn't have any, she takes care of him for the last years of his life.
And he's like, you know what?
She should have it.
I mean, yeah.
Who are we to say that he can't do that?
So I don't know.
Does he have a lawyer?
She probably helped him find one.
It's her uncle who's not even a lawyer.
Weird story.
What do you suggest?
I mean, I would hope that she would snap out of it and not want to take advantage of this man.
But what is going to happen to his money?
It'll go to her.
I try to get scuba see.
to line her up for an interview. We're trying, right?
Yeah. Believe it or not, she deleted her Twitter account, so that's gone.
But I found her on Instagram. It's private. I message her and haven't got a response back yet.
Wow.
I would love to talk to her.
You would think maybe her place of employment, like they would fire her after seeing this,
because you can't work somewhere and pray on old dying.
No, no, no, no, no. Well, that's an inappropriate in-work relationship.
At a senior living center, I don't know that they have that.
I can tell you that if one of my dads, my dad lives in an assisted living place,
if one of his caretakers, especially if she was 19, started dating him and was putting out there publicly that she was ready to inherit his money when he died,
they would be letting her go, although they are short-staffed right now.
So maybe not.
We are heard in Russellville, Arkansas.
I've been to Russellville many times.
Central Arkansas, Centralish Arkansas.
Olivia Stone.
you're on your way to what?
A freshman in your college?
Or that stage,
maybe you're just working full time?
Call, give us a call.
I'll be gentle.
I just have some questions I want to ask you.
I'm not going to walk you anywhere mean.
I'm just going to ask,
how much do you love this guy?
What does he mean to you?
What do you see as your future with him?
How much money is she inheriting?
I will treat her as I would treat anyone coming on the show.
I would not slam her.
I just want to hear what she has to say.
Olivia Stone, we can be your one safe outlet if you're looking to be on something,
because I'm sure people are reaching out to talk to her.
Anyway, that's a big story there.
What do you think about that one?
That's great.
I hope she's listening and I hope she calls in.
That'd be a good conversation.
Every line's filled up right now.
So don't stop.
Olivia, if you hear a busy signal, keep calling.
All right, there's another one, though.
Bobby's story.
Yesterday they announced the newest iPhones, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12,
the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The news is for me, the new phone will come with no headphones and no charger in the box because they want to eliminate waste.
I think this is a good move because most people already have the charger.
If you have an iPhone and you're getting...
Most people that are buying a new iPhone already have an iPhone.
So there's no need for another charger because we have one.
And the headphones are the wired ones.
And you pretty much have your headphones at this point.
Yeah.
Those are the ones I collect.
Like for sure, I have a bunch of headphones.
But chargers, I mean, I could definitely use the charger every time.
But the ones that come in the box are too short.
Yeah?
Can you even reach your bed from the side of the...
Yeah, they are.
So you got to go buy a longer cord.
The only place that works is like on the kitchen counter where you can plug it and plug your phone in for a minute while you're in the kitchen.
You know how tiny the plug is into your phone and then the other end is like a USB?
Well, they're even phasing that out, heads up, because I had to go buy a new charger the other day.
And I bought the wrong one.
I thought it had...
I just bought the little square that...
plugs in. And I got home and there was no USB hole. It was a tiny little teeny tiny hole.
I hate people call me that. A USB hole. There wasn't one. So then I had to go back and I said,
I need the kind with the USB hole. And he's like, oh, we're phasing that out, FYI. You should buy
this new cord. It sounds like a guy from the United States is not nice. A USB hole.
Well, I'm just saying, I had to buy a new cord to fit my new hole.
The big news is that the
iPhone 12 will work on 5G networks.
Not a lot of places to get 5G right now
just really small pops
because right now 4G is where it's at
and it's the best you can get.
Some Android phones are allowing 5G
but it's just hard to get it.
So it'll be equipped with all new antennas,
it'll be thinner and smaller than previous models.
The mini is 729.
The iPhone 12 is 829.
The iPhone 12 Pro is 999
and then the iPhone 12 Pro Max is 1,000.
$99.
Ooh.
A lot of money.
Is it like mini in size or just mini in what it can do?
Size.
Maybe what it can do, but it's definitely smaller.
So that's the big news yesterday.
There is a new iPhone coming out.
All right.
Thank you guys very much.
Bobby's Day.
Story.
Leanna in Arkansas is on the phone right now.
Hey, Leanna, how are you?
Morning studio.
Morning.
Congratulations on your new engagement.
Thank you.
How are you doing?
I'm so good
I just wanted to call
and comment on the Olivia Stone
story
I actually live in rest of them
I read that on Facebook last night
and I just thought
it was awful that someone was taking
advantage of our elderly like that
There's definitely an advantage being taken
right? Yes, yes
it's but who can jump in to help
because he has no fan
Who can help though
I mean that's the question I wonder
and if no one can then you just have to go
well, she beat the system.
But he doesn't have any family.
I don't know.
I don't know how to help the guy.
What do you think about this?
I think that it's awful, but I did read that.
I think there are like some legal,
there's some legal things that someone can pursue, like the state, you know.
There are some laws in place that do protect our elderly.
So I'm hoping that that could happen.
But once again, also, like, who will get this money?
And not that she's deserving of it by all.
leave. I don't think so. But
it's sad. So sad.
Yeah, it is sad. We need
the Attorney General of Arkansas to step in.
That's what we can do it. Yeah.
For sure. So
listen, we don't know anything about
what we read on the story. What if we talk to them and she really is in love
with them? Right. Maybe we get him on.
Like, not just her, but the
man, the 89-year-old.
If he has dementia, he won't remember. No.
Well, no. There's, you're in and
now. I don't know how severe his dementia is.
Sometimes he can be sound of mind.
other times not.
The Attorney General of Arkansas
has Leslie Rutledge.
Hey.
Sorry.
Excuse me, Miss Rutledge.
You got to be professional.
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
Pardon me.
Call our show.
We want to talk to you about this.
Can we get in touch with the Attorney General of Arkansas?
I'm working on.
Okay.
I got a line into the governor.
There's an office to call.
I don't want to call the governor for this.
No, I'm sure he has other things going on.
Governor Hutchinson.
Would you drive down to Russellville?
I'm just curious as to what the
what's happening here
and how it can be addressed
if it needs to be addressed.
Leslie Rutledge
she is an American law union politician
she is the 56th Attorney General of Arkansas
since 2015
and she may run for governor. Who knows? I may run
against her with her. So let's go
let's be friends now. All right. So if we can get
Leslie Rutledge on the phone. Okay, we'll come back
and if we can't get her on the phone in the next few minutes which
be tough
today is National
Bald and Free Day
Eddie
this is a little something
we came up with last night
Go ahead
Uh oh
This day celebrates people
Who decide to finally shave
Their outside of their head
Because the inside is starting to bald
Yes
Because you're losing some in the back
You're losing some in the front
So do you mean shave the entire head?
The entire thing
Okay
Not like George Jefferson
Right
October 14th is bald and free day
Here is what
what I will offer you.
I'm going to give you your choice of categories.
Okay.
90s country.
I feel about that?
What next?
Solid.
Dallas Cowboys.
Oh, I love it.
Next.
Oh, that's his.
Bobby Bone Show grab bag,
meaning questions about us on the show.
Oh, no.
Okay, wow.
And then I'm playing for what?
So, you're going to have five questions.
Every question you get, the prize,
the first question is worth $10.
Do you get it?
It'd be pretty easy.
Second question is worth $20.
Okay.
Next question is worth $30.
The next question is worth $40.
In the end, you can make $150.
Okay.
But you've got to go $5 for $5.
Okay.
And then what?
If he doesn't go $5 for $5.
If he loses, if you miss one, you have to shave your head.
If I miss one.
Yeah, because listen, they're easy.
I'll give you an example question, okay?
The Thunder Rolls is the first song on what 90s Garth Brooks album?
No fences.
Correct.
You'd have $10.
Wow.
You just wasted it.
Uh-huh.
So, think about it.
We'll come back and get your answer.
You have a chance.
So, hold on.
Real quick.
And you can quit at any time.
I have a chance to win how much?
$150.
And then I have a chance to also shave my head if I get one.
But they're categories that are for you, made specially for you.
Correct.
So think about it.
We'll come back on the other side of this.
See what you want to do.
Like the idea I can just tell.
I mean, Dallas Cowboys, dude.
You're a diehard Cowboys.
I mean, I got the sweatshirt on right now.
Oh, is it a sign?
Oh, my God.
Come on.
I think it's a sign.
Let's go over to producer ready.
Because we've given them the option to make straight cash, homie.
Woo!
All you have to do is go five for five in categories that you are especially an expert in.
Nineties country trivia, Dallas Cowboys football team.
Yes.
Or Bobby Bone Show grab bag.
And with each question, it's worth more and more money.
And I'm going to pay it out of my own pocket.
I'll shoot you a Venmo as soon as the segment.
I love it.
What do you think, Eddie?
And if you lose, you have to shave your head bald, though, with like straight bald.
Because it's national what?
Bald Freedom Day?
Yeah, and you're going bald.
You brought it up to us.
Okay, so I already got a text for my wife, and she didn't say no.
She just said, don't miss any.
Nice, and you woke.
She's a made for you, baby.
She's a made for you, Eddie.
She also said, please don't go bald.
So here we go.
I'll do it.
Okay.
Eddie's in.
I'll do it.
And my category that I would like to pick.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
90's country.
Wow.
And you're in the Cowboys City.
That's okay.
Eddie, for 10.
$10. Oh boy.
Question number one.
Wild Angels.
Wrong again.
A broken wing.
We're all number one songs in the 90s by which artist.
Say that again.
Are you serious?
You missed the first one.
Oh my God.
Wild Angels.
Wrong again.
And a broken wing.
We're all number one songs.
Even Morgan number two is punchers.
Oh, yes, I not know who this is.
Are you going to miss the first one?
The $10 question.
Can you sing a little bit?
A broken wing!
I sang it bad.
Oh, angels.
How do you not know this?
What year did this come out?
It's in the 90s.
In the 90s?
What was the second one?
The second song?
We sing two.
Wrong again.
I don't know that one.
A broken wing, I think everybody could sing along to a fit plate.
Okay, try it.
This is the only one I'm going to give you a hand on.
Okay.
on a broken wing
yeah
no he nailed it
I do like the one part
with a broken wing
what on earth
I've never heard this song
in my life
this might be the biggest
I think I know the answer
you know who sing this
I know broken wing
I know the soul
for sure
carry me
Here's the option I'll give you, Eddie.
You can't keep helping him.
It's the $10 question.
This is my hair.
This is my head.
You took the bet.
He did take the bet.
Amy's being hardcore right now.
Because you took the bet.
Amy, I don't want to be bald.
Then why did you take the bet?
You could have said, no, I don't want to play.
What you got, Bonson?
I will let you either answer what you're guessing or you can go to lunchbox.
Who?
But you do have a lifeline.
Sometimes he can't.
Sometimes.
He knows nothing.
And he might even miss it on purpose.
I don't know if I could trust this guy.
I mean, can you trust me?
Look at me in the eye, man.
How do you feel about my answer?
One more time, ready?
Eddie, one more time.
And with a broken wing,
she carries her dreams.
Man, you ought to see her fly.
Yeah, that's it.
I mean, he nailed it.
And then at one point, she goes really powerful.
And you ought to see her.
That's what I was doing.
Bye.
Really?
You know that?
Eddie, I will get to you.
Before you go to lunchbox, I know these songs.
I know these songs, but I can't even say with 100% certainty.
Who it is.
But I know that.
Who are you thinking, Eddie?
The Judds.
Okay, that's one guess.
Or is that your only guess?
I mean, that's all I got.
Because I didn't really know them that well.
Is that all you have?
That's the only thing that you would guess.
That's the only thing I would guess.
I would tell you to go to lunchbox.
Yeah, I would tell you not to guess that.
That's your only guess I would tell you to go to lunchbox.
This is the last, I'm going to help you.
Oh, gosh, this is it.
I mean, I don't want to do this, but I'm going to have to go to lunchbox.
Lunchbox, now you can save Eddie for $10.
Don't miss this on purpose.
You can say, Lou Bega.
No, no, no, don't do that to me.
Eddie, I mean, is that Garf Brooks?
Oh, my, here we go.
This is a mistake.
Lunchbox, who do you think?
I mean, Eddie, I'm not for sure.
But who do you think?
Talk about.
I mean, the first person that pops in my head is Martina McBride.
What do you think about that, Ed?
Eddie. I like it. I mean, that's, I mean, I, I know that song and I, I don't know. Like I said, I know the song, but I don't know who sings it, but Martina McBride jumps in my head.
I mean. Is that your answer on lunchbox? Because I know it's not Trisha Yearwood. I mean, Martina McBride would be my answer.
Uh, need an answer. Martina McBride's it, Eddie.
Eddie? Come on. He said, Martina McBride. Yeah, please. Put your hair. Please.
The answer is
Martina McRas
Eddie, you had to go to lunchbox
For the $10 question in 90s country
This is bad
This is bad and I really thought he was going to miss it on purpose
Just because that's what he does
That's your boy
Hey, thank you
Yeah, you all me $10.
Question number two, Eddie, for $20
Come on
Who performed the song in 1992
Straight Tequila Night
Don't ask her on a straight to key
John Anderson
Correct
$20.
Okay.
Eddie in fun of
most of the time.
But don't ask her on a straight tequila
night.
She's not thinking about him
and she's ready to fight.
Okay.
Eddie.
Come on.
This is your $30 questions.
By the way, I have no confidence now
after that first question.
Amarillo by Morning
is best known as a George straight hit.
What other Cal
boy singer released the song before George Strait did.
What? What are you talking about?
No one. This is a trick question.
It's not a trick question.
Oh my gosh. They just got hard.
Amarillo by morning.
This is the George Strait version.
Do we have the other version in the computer?
We do.
Why don't we just play it?
No.
What?
If you play it, we may not.
He will know.
We may not know who it is, Amy.
I just looked it up.
If you play it, he will.
No.
Because you didn't know.
You looked it up.
Of course I didn't know.
I thought George Strait was the only one that's saying it.
But now that I see who the other person is, okay, go ahead.
I mean, he didn't know Martina McBride, so I don't know if he's guaranteed.
This is the $30 question.
He knows voices.
Ray, I just want three seconds of this song.
Go.
I'm a riddle by morning.
That's it.
What?
Who is that?
I thought he would read.
We're giving you so many hints.
Who is that, dude?
Sounds like karaoke.
Jenny's.
What we're talking about?
Amarillo by morning.
Up from signing tall.
Everything that I've got is just what I've got on.
Any $30 question.
So this guy's from the 90s?
Or the song from the 90s.
There's no way, dude.
There's no wait.
We know this guy.
No, the question has to be...
The question has to do
with something in the 90s
which is George Strait, right?
Amarillo by Morning
is best known as a George Strait hit.
What other cowboy singer
released this song before George Strait?
But probably not in...
I tell you this.
Amarillo by Morning was written
by Terry Stafford and Paul Frazier.
It's one of George Strait's most recognized songs,
but it was first released in 1975.
75.
All right, I'll guess.
Can I hear the clip one more time?
Yeah, one more time.
And he goes karaoke at Denny's.
Okay.
Everything that I've got is just what I've got on.
Okay.
You've never met him.
I don't think I've met him.
Bose, I really have no clue singing this song right now.
I'll take a guess.
Oh, I'm going to lose my hair on this one.
Go ahead.
Is it Don Williams?
No.
See, Amy's laughing.
What? I didn't say anything.
But Amy, it's weird. You googled it and you knew the name.
Like, who could this possibly be?
His son opened for us once.
What?
His son.
And you're probably going to want to take back your Denny's comment.
Oh, boy. Why?
He's on the phone right now.
His son opened up for us.
The son opened up for us at a festival once.
We met him briefly.
This guy's not alive anymore
Garth Brooks counts him as a hero
A worn out tape of
Oh, Chris Ledoux
It's not Denny's
It's not Denny's
I feel bad about that one
Well let's look at the bright side here
Yeah
You made $30
Yes
But
But
What?
What?
No, no, he got 30
He got 20 and 10
from the other two questions
I mean he really would have lost
The first one
Yes
Do you want to go double
or nothing? Oh, yes.
Head and entire face.
Entire face?
Yeah.
Eyebrows.
No, not eyebrows.
Okay, just.
Facial hair and wax and chest.
Wax and chest?
I don't have anything in my chest.
So that's...
You don't have any hair on your chest at all?
Waxing butt.
Nothing.
Okay.
Amy, would you give him another question for all-faced?
I mean, it is his hair.
This is a big deal.
So I don't want to be rude.
But I mean, if the rest of the questions are like this...
But I'm just hoping you remember this.
If this ever...
is on me a similar situation
that you will have my back.
Yes, I will.
Promise.
I don't know.
All right, let's do it.
Double or nothing.
Oh, my God.
What is it face and butt?
It's face head.
Okay.
And that's it.
And we'll just trust your butt.
Yeah, like,
Hey, can I ask you?
Are the questions a little easier
than those last three?
They're difficult-ish.
Oh, gosh.
You have to,
if you have to get both these right to win.
Okay.
This one you'll get.
Before Garth Brooks,
who is the first artist to record
and sing friends in low places.
We've played it on the show 100 times.
Oh, you're choking right now.
Why are these questions so hard?
You know the answers because the pressure's on,
you're not performing as well as you would.
You're choking right now.
I didn't think I'd see it from you.
Even Ray knows this.
Got it. Go ahead.
Mark Chestnut.
Correct.
You're right, man.
I'm just telling you, that first question threw me off.
Thank goodness.
You did nothing.
Eddie, it's all on the line for this question here.
Come on.
Your head and your face up for grab.
All shaved.
Today is National Bald and Free Day.
We want you to go bald and free.
No.
In what 1990s movie did Reba make her feature film debut?
For all the marbles, head and face.
In what 90s movie did Reba make her feature film debut?
His head's on the microphone.
I have no idea, but...
This was considered the hardest question, the last of five.
Can you give me multiple choices?
I cannot.
You've already been given hints galore.
Nighties movie.
Do you want to have a break to think about it?
But you can't look anything up.
We'll make sure you don't Google anything.
Okay.
I would appreciate that.
We'll come right back.
Let's go.
Tie his hands.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

got to get over to eddie and ask us
final question uh laura and tulsa though you want to say something
laura how are you thank you for calling the show
hey
here's what i have to say i'm a defense attorney
i'm coming to eddie's defense
george straight released amarillo by morning in the 80s
that is not a 90s trivia question
well he would be mostly known from the 90s i think is why the
question was written the artist was from the
90s, but it's fair.
Room?
Oh, man.
Respect the attorney on the line.
I mean, I understand.
I mean, attorney's trying to find loopholes,
but this jury is not finding any sympathy.
Lunchbox says no, no sympathy.
Amy?
I mean, I guess it's true.
George Strait is the 80s artist, too,
but he is most known.
But Amarola by morning is what the question was about.
And that was in the 80s.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Might have to throw that one out.
I think we have to throw that one out.
Oh, okay.
So what does that mean for me?
You get another question.
Hold on, hold.
Excuse me?
You get another.
Can my attorney speak for me?
Yeah, true.
Laura, what's your goal with this?
What would you like the court to do?
Okay, my suggestion to the court would be to let him change categories and start over.
Start over the whole thing?
You know what?
Hey, well, can I consult with my attorney?
Yeah, you can.
You know what?
The judge is listening to this.
So talk with your attorney, Eddie.
Okay, okay.
Your Honor, no, my attorney, I don't know.
if we can, this is my strongest suit.
Cowboys, yeah, I'm a fan, but I mean, he could throw something from the 1960s
Cowboys that I won't even know.
Oh, that's true.
That's true.
But, I mean, let's just be frank.
It's not looking good here.
You're right.
You're right.
You're right.
Good point.
Good point.
I mean, you know, like, try it.
Maybe you could try Bobby Bones trivia.
Surely you know about your buddies there in the room.
I do.
I do.
I know a lot about them, but I just, again, they can throw these little nitpick things
that I just don't remember about.
And again, it's not looking good for you.
Okay, all right.
She's giving you your options.
No, no, no, very honest.
I appreciate that.
So we'll throw it out.
I'll throw it out.
What would you like to do?
Throw it out and let's start over.
Would you like that category?
Oh, my gosh.
She made a great point.
Wow.
She found a loophole.
Eddie, you've been exonerated from 90s country.
Thank you.
We are now going to move you over to Dallas Cowboys
or Bobby Bone Show grab bag.
Laura, if you'd like to stay on the phone, we'd love to have you stay for this segment.
Yes.
Sure, absolutely.
Okay.
She's like, I have nothing else to do.
She doesn't be in court.
She's not busy.
Back up for grabs your bald head.
We're shaving your head.
Oh, wow.
It's national free and bald day.
And that was one question away from finishing too, huh?
But you also lost at one point, we gave you a...
Correct.
And you had no idea of the last question.
The answer was, uh, tremors?
Oh, good. I never had three, three possible answers and those were not it.
Tremors was not in there.
That was the Riba movie.
Yeah.
Okay, tremors.
Eddie, categories are just.
Dallas Cowboys or Bobby Bones Show Grab Bag.
Let's go Bobby Bones Show Grab Bag.
Okay, here you go.
This could be tough.
Question number one for $10.
What is Mike D's fiancé's name?
Kelsey.
Correct.
Wow.
Did you not know that?
Nope.
I had Kelly.
Eddie.
Go ahead.
How old is Amy's daughter, Stasheera?
She's 13.
Correct.
Because she could have been 12.
That's the question.
worth $20.
Wow.
You're now at $30.
Eddie.
What's the recipe for a bobby water at Sonic?
Oh gosh.
Oh gosh.
I wrote this down somewhere.
Ice.
Sonic ice.
Correct.
Water.
Okay.
Well, yeah.
Nerds.
Okay.
And fruit.
Correct.
Whoa.
Oh my gosh.
Wow.
Okay.
Come on.
That was your $30 question.
You now have made $60.
That's what I'm talking about.
Eddie, Lunchbox had a gang.
He was in as a kid.
Yes.
They were known as the LWC.
Yes.
What does LWC stand for?
I believe that stands for little white criminals.
Correct.
Oh my gosh.
This is good.
Hey, a lawyer.
My name's Laura.
Laura, we're killing it.
I know.
You need to know your attorney's name.
I know.
Well, I just got her.
She's appointed.
You should have gone with this from the beginning.
These are way easier.
Way easier.
Eddie, your final question.
Come on, go on.
To save your bald head.
Come on.
It's a $50 question and to make, it'll be $150 total.
Last year, you requested us to book an artist.
You saw him playing out and you said, hey, you should have him come in and play.
He eventually did come in and play.
What was the artist you had us book and perform on the show?
What was the name?
I remember this guy.
You booked him.
I booked him.
Yeah.
You saw him play.
I saw him play.
And then he was on the show?
Then he was on the show.
You have 15 seconds.
Hey.
Hold on.
Starting now.
Hey, when was this?
Mm-mm.
Did you say a year ago, two years ago, three years ago?
Did he say that?
I didn't say when.
Oh, last year.
Oh, last year.
Okay, so it could be the queen guy.
Three.
Queen guy?
Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark.
Hold on, I need an answer.
I need a first and last name.
It's the queen guy, right?
What is your answer?
Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Markle.
Mark Martel.
I think.
Mark Martel.
Is that your answer?
I mean, who else, right?
Who else?
I don't know, Vones.
What's your answer?
Mark Martel.
The answer is Mark Martel.
Yeah!
Yes!
Kelly, we did it.
That her name Kelly.
No.
Her name is.
Laura.
Laura, we did it.
And you know you owe her lawyer fees.
Like, you lost half your money.
Wow.
I feel like the people on court, you know, they're like, who we did it.
And the whole like court gets up and starts screaming.
This is fantastic.
And then this is awesome.
I mean.
They should write a book about this.
You were in.
Yeah.
You're going big house.
And then I get my lawyer a big hug.
Your lawyer comes in for free pro bono.
Wow.
Laura, how do you feel?
You just won this case for your client.
Eddie, what do you want to say to her?
Eddie obviously should have chosen that category to begin with.
You're right.
You're right.
But see, this is why people need lawyers.
Sometimes you think you can defend yourself.
You can't.
I needed her to come to my defense.
I didn't know.
Guys, I was worried that you guys were just going to pick something because we talk a lot about each other.
And we're like, oh, they could come up.
You guys can come up with something that I don't know.
There's a little detail that I forgot or something.
But it was awesome.
And I know you guys really well.
And I'm freaking won and I have my hair.
Wow.
All right.
I'm paying you right now.
Oh, dude, that was...
Laura, what's your Venmo? Eddie, I'll send you the money.
Hey, what do you charge an hour, Laura?
Actually, I'm a public defender,
so I am court-appointed to represent people
who can't afford an insurance.
Love it. That would be me.
Perfect for Eddie.
Oh, man, have you ever gotten a case?
I've always wondered this about public defenders,
and I don't know exactly how it works, but...
Laura, you don't have to answer her if you don't want.
Okay.
No, I'm genuinely curious if you ever get...
I mean, I'm sure you get handed a case.
I feel like sometimes I would have to be to say, I can't represent this person.
Can you walk away or do you have to do it because you've taken an oath?
You pretty much have to do it.
Like, if I had a problem where it was a true ethical dilemma for me, then I could talk to the court about it.
But generally, you're not going to be a public defender if there are cases you can't take.
We're doing this because even the guy with the worst charge ever needs as good a defense.
says Bobby bones can afford.
You know what I mean?
I don't.
I guess.
I got loved into this.
Yeah.
You're in?
I mean, all of a sudden,
not a villain here.
Wait a minute.
Yeah.
If they're innocent, yeah,
but then I guess if you know,
I just wonder sometimes
I would just walk away
or throw the case.
Okay.
She would never do that.
All right.
Laura, thank you very much.
Eddie really appreciate you.
I really do.
You add a lot to this segment.
We appreciate you.
So, good.
So thanks for calling and thanks for listening.
Have a good day, guys.
Bye.
There she is.
Eddie, congratulations.
Thank you.
I just Venmoed you the money.
Thank you, man.
So all good.
All right.
Thank you, guys.
Amy, what's going on today?
We have our pastor coming over today.
But his daughter is like friends with our son.
So they're going to be playing.
And then hopefully the adults will get to hang out.
But I really like him a lot.
So I'm excited about that.
What about you?
Eddie and I are going to play golf today?
Yeah.
We are,
right?
Oh, you are, of course.
Nice.
I haven't played, had time to play in a month.
We kind of set aside a time.
I thought Caitlin was going out to dinner with a friend tonight.
So I was like, hey, she was like, go play golf.
But she went last night.
So I played video games last night.
Oh.
Oh.
And then you're living in a life.
Did she do that?
She were like, no, do, do you know.
Did she do that?
Don't do that.
Yeah.
Sounds like you.
It sounds like you.
It was a mistake.
Yeah, it's a mistake.
Oh, you don't want me to out that you were conveniently confused.
No, I was confused.
I thought last night we were going to have dinner.
And she was like, now I'm going with my friend Abby.
And you're like, oh.
Oh, I thought that was tomorrow and I booked off.
Yeah.
But okay.
Why you want to blow me up like that?
Nothing.
It's just funny now, too.
Oh, my goodness, you won't stop.
No, no, no.
Eddie, this is good.
And lunchbox, like we can appreciate this now because.
This is good.
He's promoted.
No, no.
Because did you see it yesterday, how, or whenever it was, y'all were talking about it?
He's like, well, let me check in.
See if I can.
Oh, yeah.
You know?
Yeah, yeah.
You never had that.
Never.
There you go.
Thank you.
Have a wonderful day.
We'll see you on tomorrow's show.
I think Tanya Tucker is going to be on tomorrow morning.
As of right now, that's the plan.
Otherwise, we'll see you tomorrow.
Bye, everybody.
