The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show.
Amy did something real nice for me.
She bought me some, these sweepstakes raffle tickets.
Is that what it is?
Yeah.
Well, yeah, it gets you a shot at having a virtual coffee date
with cast members from the office.
What, is that OMAise website, O'Mezy?
Yeah, I went to the website you told me about,
and they have different levels,
like depending on what you spend,
it's how many buys that it gets you
or how many, you know, tries.
They're a little, like, say they do a drawing,
I bought you $2,000.
Wow.
So, it's like a, I don't know.
How much that can run you?
Oh, you want me to say?
No, I guess not if you're not comfortable.
Well, you know how much it was.
I'm not uncomfortable.
I heard it was a dollar a ticket.
You bought me $2,000?
No.
That's a lot of dollars.
No, but it was the highest option to have available.
No, it's not a dollar an option.
I don't even know.
But it was the $2,000 was the most you could buy, so I just bought it.
I was like, well, if we're going, we might as well go hard.
Thank you.
That's very nice.
That would be awesome if I won that.
I was watching curb.
What would you do, Bones?
I would just ask them all the questions I want to know.
I was watching Curb Your Enthusiasm last night.
I'm on season one still.
We just watched an episode.
every three or four nights.
And it's when we want something short,
and we've never watched Curb.
And Oscar from the office
is playing like a door attendant.
And it's just weird to see a lot of those characters
when they were much younger
doing a slight role somewhere.
But yeah, that's very nice of you.
That's my favorite show of all time.
By far, the office.
And it was when it was on,
and I still watch it every night now.
And if you had to make a top three list
of your favorite shows of all time,
And I'll walk this with you.
What's at number three?
Okay, and number three, just because I can watch this all the time, any time,
doesn't matter when, and it's always going to be funny, and it's Golden Girls.
Oh, that's a good one.
I didn't even think about Golden Girls.
I don't know that would have made top three, but that's a good one.
I put number three because for about five years,
it just was the show that I waited for all the time.
I just wondered what was going to happen next, and it's Walking Dead.
just loved it so much.
That's at number three.
It doesn't have the lasting power
of the other two I have up here,
but Walking Dead because of the,
for about five years, it was the show for me.
Number two?
Number two, maybe it's because it's fresh on my mind
and I'm currently watching it.
But I'm on season seven of Homeland,
and it is so good that I'm excited for season eight,
which is going to be the final season,
which is out now.
But I don't remember so much about the first,
few, but I just know it was good, that I may go back and watch it all again. Oh, yeah?
So I'm going Homeland because I feel like between Golden Girls and my number one pick, I need
something that's a little more edgy. Well, I put Friends at number two just because I've seen
them all. There's no edge. I have a little edge in Walking Dead. There's a like killing into the
world there. Friends is number two. And I'll go and do on number one could just say to the office
is number one by far for me. What was your number one? My number one's friends. Oh, nice.
Nice, nice.
Did full house, did it maybe get in your top?
Any kind of?
It may be because I thought I might need something to watch with the kids.
Yeah.
In my top three, but my kids like friends.
And then also Golden Girls, I think they could get into.
I've just never tried.
I like how practical Amy's being during a fantasy circumstance.
Like, this is your fantasy.
You can pick any show you want.
You can live anywhere.
You can be any height.
You can be any...
Oh, I just see life, Bobby is right now.
me in my house and my family and I have to consider them in all things that I do.
Did you have to explain to your daughter what an answering machine was?
Yeah. We're reading every night. We're reading Fancy Nancy. And in the book, she talks about
having to leave a message on an answering machine. And Stasheera pauses me. Normally if she doesn't
understand a word, she'll have to ask me. But sometimes it's like, Mom, what does possibility mean?
and I explain possibility or whatever.
And it was, Mom, what is an answering machine?
And I thought, oh, my goodness.
Like, you don't know what an answering machine is.
So I told her, straight up.
Back in the day, we used to have phones at our house, not cell phones.
They lived at home.
You did not take the phone with you.
And there was a big box that you could attach to it
that people could leave a message for you on.
Yeah.
And what does she think about that?
And then she just thought, well, why wouldn't you just leave a text message?
And I said, okay.
there was no text messaging.
You had to.
Like, you would leave, I would leave a message saying,
and I sang to her the song I had as a kid.
You want me to sing it?
No.
I didn't think so.
She didn't like it.
Go ahead. Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Okay, okay, okay.
Hello, we're the Moffets with a story to tell.
We're not home at the moment, so don't have a cow.
Just leave a little message at the sound of the tone
and walk back as soon as possible when we get home.
Beep.
Did you think tell and now rhymed back in the day?
I mean, Bobby, I was in the third grade.
But still, you can rhyme.
Tau.
It was the same year that I also wrote the bat rap for the bad awareness team.
Oh, your friend.
Oh, your friends.
If you see your bat and you kiss his mouth and it may give you COVID in 2020.
But bubba bats.
Now, given coronavirus, I'm not, bbubb bats are not your friends.
Poor bats.
You have a bat in the neighborhood.
One of them.
made everybody sick and now all of a sudden we hate all bats.
I know, but...
Do you think Batman will ever be, will forever be tarnished?
Dang, dude, I just thought that.
Yeah.
No, I didn't think that.
In my mind, I always think Corona man now.
No, he won't be tarnished.
I was reading a story about, speaking of Corona,
63% of engaged couples have now postponed their weddings,
which Raimundo is engaged and is supposed to get married in October.
Romundo, has there been any changes at all with you guys as planning?
No, we're good to go.
Stuff got pushed back, engagement picks.
Still haven't got those.
We're a couple months behind.
Still haven't done the fittings.
But other than stuff being delayed, the wedding itself, the date, we are still six months out.
Not one day has changed on that one.
Yeah.
63% of engaged couples now say they've postponed their wedding because of the pandemic.
If you were planning on having a big wedding, that's going to be tough.
How big is yours, Ray?
$150.
Max. Yeah, no more than that. And let's be real. It's probably going to be less than that.
People aren't traveling as much. I don't know how many people from Michigan are going to migrate down here.
So we're probably looking at right around 100.
Hey, Ray, speaking of Michigan, I saw like a police officer in New York shouting out your mom for getting her a mask.
Yeah, so she's actually not police officer, but she was EMT. She's on the front line yet.
Oh, is that what it was?
I saw it in the uniform. My bad.
Yeah, and it says FDNY. It almost looks like that from 9-11.
like what the cops would wear and the police and the fire department.
But yeah, so she was in Nashville, got transferred up there,
and she was straight up in New York City fighting coronavirus,
which is basically the epicenter, this whole thing.
And she was wearing one of the masks.
She said it's a lifesaver that my mom made her.
Wow. Isn't that cool?
We had raised mom on the show, too, talking about that.
Yeah, really, really cool.
Well, we're still rooting that your wedding is going off, like, as planned.
Will you social distance that thing if you have to?
I think this is going to be all cleared up by then.
In no way in six months are we still doing six feet, no touching, say hi, but don't even talk to the person face-to-face.
Like, no way Zoom weddings are happening in six months.
Amy?
Okay, but consideration, and I hope that's not, I hope that we're back to normal, Ray, for sure, for you and Bay.
But, like, food-wise, normally at weddings, sometimes there's buffets,
or the way, do you all, have y'all rethought how you would serve things at least?
Because I think parties from here on now, I don't know if buffets will ever be a thing, will they?
Or am I just being extreme?
I think it'll be less of a thing.
But let's hear what Ray thinks.
What do you think, Ray?
Well, the discussions that you're talking about are with the tastings.
And we had like five tastings lined up.
And yeah, we didn't do one of them.
So we're pretty far behind on that.
And I'm sure, once we start to do them in the coming months, then we'll talk to the people and be like, hey,
so how do you serve this stuff without people touching it
or stuff like that?
Well, you just cut it all up and give it to people in portions.
Or you say ahead of time what you would like.
You're right.
Buffets aren't going to be near the thing that they were,
not that they were a lot of them anyway.
Those are just the more, I know that I went with that option
because it's the cheaper option
when you're planning a wedding.
But I'm sure caters and stuff are going to work with people on that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let me see, I saw another story of me reminding me of you.
A Florida girl put a,
Help get me out of here sign on her window because of homework.
Why did that make you think?
Oh.
Your kids.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I could see that happening sometimes.
If the cops came to your house and were like, doon, do, do.
And you found out that one of your kids had put up a sign, help me get me out of here sign.
How would you react?
No, that would be bad for us, actually.
Well, that's what she did.
So the mom did it or the kid?
Help get me out of here.
It alarmed Florida deputies.
but it turned out a little girl needed help with their math homework.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, so.
A maintenance worker saw it,
thought somebody was like kidnapped.
Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I think that that would be really, really bad if my kids,
even if they were jokingly doing it about homework,
because we've adopted and we still get monitored by people every year
for how we're raising our kids.
It could just be a flag to where they may invest.
investigate a little bit more.
I just would be like, hey, hey, kid, don't put up a sign that says you're
kidnapped.
It's like the kids in the back of the, like when they hold up a sign like help and they're
driving in a car on the highway.
Do you understand what the story's about?
Yes, no, I do.
At first, I was thinking, for whatever reason I've had in my mind, I had even seen that
story and I thought it was the mom that put it up.
Like, help, get me out of here.
I can't take these kids anymore.
No, it was a kid.
Like, people thought she was abducted.
Like, would you, my question was, would you,
ground to your daughter? No, my kids would not be in trouble, but I would have to have a talk with
them that that could get them taken away from us. Oh, that's a big one. Yeah. Right. That's what I'm saying.
They probably ended up going over to Eddie's house because Eddie takes all the kids.
What's two more? Yeah, Eddie. I know. You can just drive over and see them over to Eddie's.
Okay, okay. Make sure we're on the same page there. I felt like we're on the same page there for a little
bit. Sorry, got there. Got there. Okay. All right, all right. Let's get going here with the show.
Thank you guys for being a part of the team.
And we'll get going here with Tuesday's Bobby Bone Show.

Welcome to Tuesday's show.
Amy, good morning.
Good morning.
How are you?
Hey, pretty good.
I was thinking about you.
I know you're homeschooling your kids.
When is that over?
May 15th.
Are you looking forward to that day?
That's the final day.
It's 14 days away.
Oh, you know, exactly.
It's 71 hours and 3, 6 minutes.
I mean 14 actual school days, not 14 total days.
Do you have something you have to accomplish before that,
or do you just keep them learning?
We just keep them learning.
I mean, there's stuff that's due every day.
So we'll just stay on the curriculum until the final day on the 15th,
and then I guess it's summer.
And then we had planned, our kids are always have some sort of,
well, not always.
We've had them for two summers.
but being that we adopted from Haiti and they're behind in their education, in the summertime,
we still have them enrolled in certain things, and now I don't know what we're going to do this
summer because I don't know what the options are going to be.
Are you ready, though, for school to be over?
Yeah.
Yeah.
They get a little break?
They are too.
Yeah, they'll get a little break, but we can't have too much of a break in learning at all.
So we've already prepped them for that.
Yeah.
Just get ready.
You're still going to have to keep learning.
but they're fine with it. I think they think that's what everybody has to do, so we're good.
Well, glad everybody's here with us. We hope that we feel like your friends, and hopefully we bring
a little normalcy to you. That's kind of the goal here. Kayla, my girlfriend made some, she's such a cook,
and she likes to try out and try to make things. And I love peppercini peppers. Do you know what
peppercini is? Yeah, they're so good. Yeah, it's the green one. It's like an olive garden,
where you get your soup and salad. It's the few they put on the top.
And sometimes I'll go, let me get extra peppercinies.
Well, she knows I love them.
So she made this thing where she'll cut them in half and she fills them with stuff.
But I'd never had it done with peppercini.
And they're so good.
And she's been making it in the last couple nights,
it's made me a plate of them both nights.
So that was a real highlight of my evening last night.
Yeah.
I love to try it.
That and I know she should make these videos and put them up on Instagram,
but she thinks that nobody will care if she makes a cooking video.
And I'm like, people love cooking video,
especially if it's easy to make stuff, right?
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
That, we watch another episode of the Michael Jordan, the Bulls documentary.
Have you watched any of that?
I haven't yet, but my husband has.
He really likes it.
Yeah, it's great, especially if you love the NBA or sports.
Caitlin's a humongous NBA fan.
So did that.
Got a couple of voicemels.
I walked in to see a couple of these.
This first one is from Holly in Indiana.
Here you go.
I listen to you guys every day on the podcast, and I love it.
But I had a question for you guys.
So I am moving out west to Wyoming here in a couple weeks, and I'm so excited, and I have a new job out there.
And this job will require me to get up super early in the morning.
I was wondering if you thought that it would be a good idea to practice getting up earlier before I would go out there.
I would love to hear your guys' opinion.
Thanks so much.
Bye.
That's a great question.
And, you know, I've been dealing with waking up early for the last 20 years of my life, almost.
I mean, I started doing mornings when I was 22, 23.
I'm 40 now.
And I'm not a morning person.
By the time you hear me, I'm still a little grumpy and I'm still peeling it off.
It takes me about an hour to really get it.
So I'm someone to talk to it was like, how do I adjust?
The key isn't waking up early.
It's going to bed early.
That's what you should practice doing.
Because you'll have to wake up regardless.
But going to bed early is what you have to train yourself to do.
that's been the best part of my ability to do a morning show
or to come on here and be somewhat compelling or have energy,
it's getting enough sleep.
So I would say just practice going to bed at 8 or 9 o'clock,
whatever your schedule is going to be.
What are you thinking?
Yeah, you kind of have to get used to your social life
being different than everybody else's.
Yeah, that's tough too.
That was whenever I started doing mornings with Bobby,
that was the number one thing.
None of my friends, none of my family,
nobody was on my schedule.
So it was really difficult
because I still wanted to do things with them
when they got off work or whatever.
But eventually that gets old
because then you're tired in the morning
and you just have to start making lunch dates
with people if you can
or early, early dinner dates or something
and then that'll result in you feeling better in the morning.
Yeah, I'm not a morning person
so I say this to you, just go to bed earlier.
You'll be so much happier in the long run with it.
Let's do one more voicemail from Kelly.
Here you go.
Hey, Bobby, hey Amy. Morning Studio. I just wanted to let you know that I had just finished bare bones. And I had a question. You mentioned in there your friend Courtney, and I was just wondering if y'all were still friends and in contact. Also, I wanted to let you know that Will, my son, is a very big advocate for washing his hands and he sings your song all the time. Anyways, we love your song, love the show. Keep up what you're doing.
Thank you, Kelly. It's Kelly in Colorado Springs.
Yeah, my first book is called Bare Bones. It's about my life. And my best friend in the book,
and now his name's Courtney, we don't talk as much as we used to. He's got two kids now. He just had
a second baby. But yeah, we met in college. He basically picked on me and made fun of me because
I couldn't afford a jacket. I was still wearing my high school jacket. He was like,
we don't wear a high school letterman jackets to college. And I was like, you're such a loser.
And then we became best friends. But yeah, I mean, listen, if he needed a kidney, you could call me.
But we don't talk every day as much.
Yeah, but he's still one of your best friends.
Yeah. And then he always will be. Even if we don't talk first friends.
for years and years and years.
Right.
But yes.
Hey guys, I brought Caitlin, my girlfriend up to the studio real quick as I worked from my house.
Because every time she laughs or does anything with the face, she holds it because it hurts her so bad.
But this is what Amy went through last week.
You guys are sharing beauty products and burning your faces off.
I don't know what you two are up to, but on both sides, Amy, who I work with every day for hours,
Caitlin, who I'm living with, it's always somebody's face is hurting.
So what are we going to do about this?
Well, it'll be sure. I'm back to normal already. Well, actually, a younger looking normal.
Oh, come on.
You do. You do look so young.
My face doesn't, yeah, I don't have to grab it if I laugh or cry. Or I don't scream in pain if toothpaste gets on my chin.
Okay, so what are you guys putting on your face that's hurting you so bad?
It's an at-home peel. So it's this, it's called radical night repair. And really, you're just supposed to use it once or twice.
a week at night.
But no, that's typically...
No, no, that's typically what it's made for.
But my face girl, she, like a lot of people can't come in and maybe get a peel if they
want to get a treatment.
So they discovered a way where if you just do this once or twice a week cream, five days
a week morning and night.
Oh, my goodness.
That's why it hurts so bad.
But I accidentally did a little mix up.
What did you do?
What did you do?
I got the details a little flip-flopped.
And I wasn't supposed to start it yet.
And I was using these other products that she gave me.
And I wasn't supposed to mix them, but I thought I was.
And so that's why mine is like acid.
I told Amy, it felt like I took a razor and nicked myself
and then poured lemon juice on it.
And I'm dealing with both of you guys.
It's like, you know, I got Amy for a few days and then now you.
But here's what happened.
Amy, your face girl was talking to Caitlin.
and she was asking her how she washes her face,
and what did you tell her?
No, that is not.
Oh, you don't want to say that?
No, that was different.
What?
I just, sometimes I wash my face in the shower with shampoo.
If I'm...
No!
No!
I don't!
I'm a hillbilly.
I know, Amy, it's terrible,
but sometimes I'm like, it's in my hair.
It starts getting a little sadsy,
and I just kind of like,
I'll just let it roll down the front of it.
And that's what you use to wash your makeup off?
Not all the time, but sometimes.
Okay, wow.
Caitlin is just...
I'm a sewer rat.
No, what I'm not.
No, I'm...
That's why I'm doing this peel.
I'm disgusting sewer rat.
No, I'm actually...
I was thinking, like, you're blessed.
Like, you have beautiful skin and you wash it with shampoo.
Like, if that's how I were to wash my face,
my face would be old and dry and crusty.
Well, I just want everybody listening to this to know that it's been a struggle.
the past week or so.
I got Amy for a few days.
But Caitlin's going to be better soon, right?
Yeah.
Once you get over the hump, I would say day four or five, you're like, oh, I hate my life.
Day six, you're like, well, why did I do this?
Even though you're done with the cream, you're still peeling.
And then around day eight, you're like, whoop, holla, so glad I did it.
Oh, I can't wait for that.
When she wakes up, she'll go, how young do I look today?
And so I just, it all looks the same, so I just go down one year every day.
Caitlin, not yet.
You're still a few days away from.
from reaping the benefits.
I can't wait.
Caitlin, thank you for coming up.
Hey, you're so welcome.
Thank you.
Thanks for having me.
You're like a guest.
You're welcome.
All right.
We're in the middle of a movie experiment here where all of us recommended a movie for
somebody else on the show.
We just drew names.
And Morgan, what did you watch?
I watched Steel Magnolias.
Okay.
And Amy's the one who recommended that to Morgan.
Okay.
And Morgan, you're only 26, though.
This is a little older for you, right?
Yeah, but Dali Parton is.
in it and so is Julia Roberts, which I love both of them.
All right.
Give us your review of Steele Magnolias.
Okay, well, I have a love-hate relationship with Amy right now because the movie made me cry.
But it was really, really good.
And I definitely see why it's a classic.
But I don't suggest watching it like kind of after you lose someone in your life.
It's very much about family and this group of women who have stayed friends through everything.
but I got to give it 4.5 out of five Shelby's.
It was really, really good.
Oh.
Amy, anything to say about that?
Steele Magnolius is one of my favorites.
I know that it can stir up a lot of emotion.
And Morgan, yeah, I know.
I'm sorry, I know that you recently lost your grandmother.
But hopefully, too, it can just remind you of the connection
that family can have and how important that is.
And there is a lot of huge.
humor in there too. So you do laugh, but you'll definitely cry. Yeah, and in particular, the funeral
scene, that part just, I was laughing the whole time. And then when that scene happened, I just,
it was like all the tears, I think, from obviously losing my grandma and the movie in once,
but it was still so good to watch. It, just like you said, it brought back both good and, you know,
sad feeling. So it was a good thing. Amy, did you forget that she just lost her grandma when you
recommended that movie? I don't, no. I mean, no, I remember that.
But I think, I mean, going back, maybe I should have recommended pretty woman
that probably would have just made her laugh, not cry.
But I'm not opposed to getting out emotion.
Maybe blessing in disguise, Morgan needed to release some of that.
Okay.
Well, Morgan, I'm glad you liked it.
That's a successful little experiment here.
I still have to watch lunchboxes movie,
and I got to be honest,
I don't even know the name of it.
I forgot it. It's the only one I've never even heard of, and he did it to punish me.
No, it's called Box of Moonlight. I don't understand. It's not that hard. It's really good. It really is you.
You have a hard time unwinding, and that is exactly what this movie is.
All the movies are recommended were Still Magnolia's Parasite, 8 Mile, Black Panther, and then a movie that we had never heard of.
I think Lunchbox is his fourth grade play, Box of Moonlight, that I'm going to try to watch.
I still haven't started. Okay. Well, Morgan.
again, thank you for your review.
You two feel good about that so far?
Everybody good on that?
Yep, yeah, I feel good.
All right, there you go.

On the Bobby Bones show now.
Walker Hayes.
Walker Hayes on right now.
What's up, dude?
How's it going, man?
Hey, good.
I was thinking about you yesterday because I was watching a news story about how this one family has five kids and they're quarantining and they're doing homeschool.
And I was like, that's nothing.
My friend Walker Hayes has six kids.
So how's it going over there with all the kids in homeschooling?
Dude, we were already on that homeschool train.
So thank goodness that was no, you know, that was not a big change for us.
But, I mean, the kids, the kids want more entertainment, man.
They demand it.
They want me to be funnier and more exciting and more entertaining than I've ever been in my dad career.
And that's been tough, but I've managed to keep up with it and be as creative as I possibly can.
But yeah, man, homeschooling isn't for the faint of heart.
And honestly, I'm kind of excited a lot of people in the world get to, I guess, see that,
because I think a lot of people are like, oh, homeschool, whatever, no big deal.
It's harder than it sounds.
Walker Hayes on with us.
I'm going to play a couple clips here real quick.
You may know this song, You Broke Up With Me.
This is a clip of his new song, Trash My Heart.
Here you go.
What's up with that song?
How'd that song come about?
Riders Retreats, baby.
You know how they go?
No, me and some buddies.
went on a retreat and Bobby for once I tried to write a song I just wanted people to dance
and lo and behold people me but yeah just having a good old time with some buddies that's
Jimmy Robbins on there Josh Jenkins Matt Jenkins Josh Osborne big big team to write that song
on with us right now Walker Hayes and you were a guest on my super easy trivia game show and
you got the question in the category of famous slogans and your slogan was mm-mm good and
I thought it was the easiest one we had on the list.
You did not know it was Campbell's Soup.
I was stunned.
Yeah, man, that wasn't the easiest for me ever.
And I was telling Eddie earlier, I'm really glad the dude before.
I was really good about myself.
When he made that mistake, I was like, all right, I'm good.
I'm not the first off.
But, yeah, man, trivia freaks me out.
Like, that's a lot of pressure.
But, yeah, I found out, you know, you told me it was Campbell's Soup,
but I think what did I, I think I guessed, Hamburger helper.
You guessed like nine things and they were all wrong, but that's okay.
I'm going to give you a chance to redeem yourself right now, Walker.
Okay.
I'll give you three slogans.
Tell me what they are.
The first one is the happiest place on earth.
Oh, that's Disney World.
Disney World, Disneyland.
We'll take either one.
Okay, here's the second one.
The Breakfast of Champions.
Oh, gosh.
That's, um, it's Wheaties?
Weedies is right.
How about have it your way?
Oh, my gosh.
Is that Burger King?
That is Burger King.
For bonus, they're great.
That's the Tony the Tiger
with his frosted flakes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, frosted flakes.
Hey, look, if he'd got the rest of them,
he got it.
Nice.
You know, what's funny is,
and you can check out Walker on my game show.
Just go over to Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram.
You can watch it there.
But I was supposed to,
it was a big surprise that your song,
Mike, if you play a clip of this bag,
you broke up with me when double platinum here.
So, what does that mean when it goes double platinum?
Platinum Walker.
Well, this isn't
a trivia question, is it?
No, I'm asking because I'm genuinely wondering.
Is it $2 million?
So it, you know, nowadays,
obviously streams count
as a sale, but, you know, it means
my song has been, you know,
I've sold $2 million now.
Yeah.
You know, copies of that song,
which is, man, you know,
you know the journey I've been on.
You've had a front row seat to it.
a miracle. It's unbelievable that I got that call, you know, on Friday. And now, now I don't,
when I stand up, I'm like, hey, this went platinum. Now I can say this is a multi-platinum
record. So, yeah, that's what that means. We taped the trivia show Thursday night, and I was supposed
to break that to you, but I couldn't believe you got eliminated so early. Honestly, I gave you such a
softball that I didn't have it ready. So this is your two-time,
platinum plaque right here. I have it in my hand. Yeah, this is, here it is. It says,
Walker Hayes, you broke up with me, certified two times platinum. And that was supposed to
come from me, but it wasn't because I'm a dope. And so my apologies.
Well, dude, I didn't, I didn't know we had a plaque. So, I mean, that's, well, I have a plaque.
You will never get it. We're coronaed in, so you'll never get it. But I have it.
I know, and if you, if you mail it, my wife's going to make me let it sit outside.
I like two or two days.
Dude, hey, that really means the world coming from you.
I hope you know that on or off this show.
I truly mean that.
Appreciate all you did.
Viva La Walker Hayes is what I say.
Okay, well, check it out.
Check out the new song.
We've got a lot to do here.
So check out Trash My Heart.
And also go and search them up, listen to all of it,
and listen to it nonstop.
When you leave the house, just push play and push repeat,
even if you're not listening, build those streams.
That's what I say.
That's it.
All right.
Put them on repeat.
Yep.
Walker, good to talk to you, my friend.
Hey, back at shit, Bobby.
Y'all have a good one.
Bobby Bones Show.
Story up the day.
This story comes with us from Elkhart County, Indiana.
A 25-year-old man was going 120 miles an hour on the highway
when police pull up next to him and say,
pull over, pull over.
He thought they were giving him hand motions, let's race,
so he kept going.
Oh, wow.
And he let him on a 25-mile chase.
until he pulled over and got arrested.
Wait, so I would assume there was alcohol involved?
There had to be, right?
No, he really, they said he was charged with reckless driving
and several moving violations, but no alcohol involved.
He really thought they wanted to race.
Wow.
Wouldn't you have to be drunk to think that, though, is my question.
Wow, that's crazy.
We're just not right.
I would lean on drunk.
I would.
All right, is that it?
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Johnny Morris is the founder of Bass Pro Shops and he's decided to donate one million FDA
approved face masks for first responders or anyone in the health care that needs these face masks.
I guess it's a thing right now that people are needing more face masks.
So he's stepping up to do that.
And basically if there's a Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's in your town, those masks are going to those cities.
Wow.
Hey, listen, we are a Bass Pro Shop show.
Also, Eddie goes, I guess it's a thing now.
Like the whole new, like every single story on the news for the past two months hasn't been that health care workers need masks.
I just like, I don't know.
Apparently there's some virus running around.
I don't know.
I just saw the tweet yesterday.
Well, shout out bass pro Cabellas.
That's awesome.
Obviously, we love them.
But making a difference.
Everybody's making a difference.
I love it.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Every hour we bring positivity.
It's called Tell Me Something Good.
We've done it for 15 years.
I remember when we came up with this segment
and everybody kind of told us
this is a dumb segment.
We used to put it at 5 and 6 o'clock in the morning only.
Remember way back in the day?
Yeah, but it's definitely early.
It was early.
And what happened was
we started doing this segment
and we had something in radio
called Research and they started testing the segment
and it was like our highest testing segment
so we started doing it more
because we love doing this segment anyway.
We love positivity and finding a good way to look at things.
And so then other radio shows
started doing it. The next thing you know, it's all over the country. We're super proud of that.
And it's really become something we're known for. And that song is a real song.
That Chaka Khan, tell me something good. It's like Rufus and Chaka Khan. And sometimes I hear it on
the radio, I'll be at the grocery store and I'll hear, don't tach, don't, and I'm like, oh,
that's so weird. But we've become known for this after 15 years. And I love it. And there's a pastor
at Trinity Church in Oklahoma. His name is Brian Mills.
He's a senior pastor there, and he referenced it in his sermon this last Sunday.
Here you go.
Now, I want to give you a little update.
Can I give a little update?
Y'all, y'all fired up?
We got to get a little update.
I tell me something good.
It's like that Bobby Bones, you know.
That's all Bobby Bode.
You ever watch that country, me.
You don't listen to that old country.
You don't have Bobby Bowdo.
He's from Arkansas, you know.
Come on.
And he always said, tell me something good.
Bow, wow.
And then, there we go.
Anyways.
Amen.
Isn't that funny, Amy?
Yeah, I feel like he started rambling because he was looking on the crowd and maybe nobody knew who he was talking about.
Well, there's no crowd.
You have to remember.
Oh, yeah.
There's no, it's just him and like someone sitting at keys.
And so there's the, he wasn't getting any feedback.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That makes sense.
I feel like I'm watching church online too.
And I feel like my pastors have something similar where they don't know if what they said is, is resonating the way they think.
thought it would, so they just awkwardly keep talking?
Well, Brian Mills 247 is his name.
Brian Mills 24-7.
Just want to say thanks to him for what he's doing and keeping everybody's spirits up
and throwing us a shout out there in the middle of a sermon.
So I loved that.
Speaking of that, Amy, you have an Air Force magazine because your husband was in the Air Force Academy.
He served in the Air Force, and they send out a magazine that is what, basically?
Well, it's for Air Force Academy alumni, and it's called Checkpoints.
And anytime it comes in the mail, my husband reads it cover to cover.
And we've been getting it since as long as we've been married because he graduated before we got married.
And is the header of this, Tell Me Something Good. Is that what they wrote on there?
Yeah. So if you open it up, again, like I said, he reads it cover to cover.
And they're a retired colonel named Kathy C. McLean class of 1982 wrote an article called Tell Me Something Good.
And the first line in the article is I enjoy listening to the Bobby Bone Show Morning Radio.
program while commuting. And then she talks about Bobby, Amy, Lunchbox, and how we put a smile on
her face with our antics, but then that we have Tell Me Something Good. So she used it to launch
into three Tell Me Something Goods from Air Force alumni. And then she's, yeah, and she signed off.
Is our graduate community up to something good? Most definitely, Bobby Bones, Amy, and Lunchbox,
take heed. Oh, nice. Hey, we're taking heed. We're all the Heaps.
We're taking it.
I just, it was funny.
When my husband showed it to me, he was part proud but part jealous because I think being in
the Air Force is just a big deal to be in here.
And he's like, do you know what I would give to be featured in this magazine?
And now my wife is in him where I am.
Well, that's awesome.
And we'll shout her out to.
And we appreciate, what, you have her name again, Amy?
Yeah, she's retired colonel Kathy C. McLean, class of 82.
Man, appreciate you for what you do in life.
appreciate you for mentioning us in that magazine
and that's why we do tell me something good.
We love it.
We love that it brings a smile to your faces
because it brings a smile to ours.
And 55 after every hour is when that happens.
I want to play some John Party.
He posted a picture on his Instagram story
and he put on some glasses like I wear it
because he wears glasses and he goes,
hey, Bobby says, I never wear these
and take my cowboy hat off.
But he looked just like. Mike, you see the picture?
He looked just like me.
Yeah, I agree.
I thought he was making fun of me
by posting a picture of me
but John Pardy built the cowboy hat
and glasses like I have
looks like me
so I thought that was pretty funny
The Morning Corny

That's pretty funny
The morning, Courtney.
Hey, I saw this story speaking of your jokes.
A six-year-old kid named Callaghan McLaughlin
set up a free joke stand at the end of his driveway
where he tells jokes to people who walk by
just to lift their spirits.
He says he knows about 16 or 17 jokes.
He feels they're all pretty strong.
Here's a clip of a few of his best jokes
that if you walk by, he'll hit you with.
What is red, white, and blue?
A sad candy cane.
What is black, white, and red?
a penguin that's embarrassed.
What's a pirate's favorite letter?
What?
I don't think I have any bad jokes, but my sister has, like, awful ones.
There you go.
He knows about as many as you do, 16 or 17.
We've done this for about two years now.
We've heard about the same 16 or 17.
What are you going to say?
There's just so much cuter coming from him.
Yeah, I agree with that.
Not that you're not, but yeah, yeah, I agree.

One of the big stories yesterday in country music was that the ACMs are going to be a national
for the first time ever.
And I think if you were just hearing that on the surface,
or if you're not super inside,
that doesn't mean anything to you.
Because most people don't know the difference
from the ACMs and the CMAs, honestly.
I think I do because I'm on boards
and I present on these shows.
But for the most part, people are like,
wait, it hasn't always been in Nashville?
It hasn't.
So the CMAs, which happened in November,
are always in Nashville.
The ACMs are usually in Las Vegas.
And that office is in California.
So because of what happened this year, they weren't able to have it.
They moved to September, and now for the first time, it's going to be in Nashville.
So I don't know that that's a big story to many folks except real industry people, but the real
cool story is, is that it's going to be in three different places this year.
They're going to do the show, and I'm not sure how they're going to pull it off yet,
but in September they're going to do the show at the Opry House, where they have the Grand Ole Opry,
at the Ryman Auditorium, which is a music venue that used to house the Opry way back in the
and still does occasionally,
and the Bluebird Cafe,
which is a small place
where riders go and play.
So that is the real headline here,
not that it moved to Nashville,
because I don't think most people know the difference.
I wouldn't if I wasn't super involved in the weeds,
but they're going to do the show
from three different places,
which I think is pretty cool.
Well, yeah, and, well, you know the difference
between each venue
because you played all three,
so what is the cool factor of them bouncing
to each location?
Like, what do you think could be special?
about it being that you played there.
I wonder if the Opry House
is going to actually have some of the Grand Ole Opry stuff.
Now, I've played the Opry show.
I mean, like I've performed at the Grand Ole Opry
probably 14 times or so,
and why that's awesome is because it's the Grand Ole Opry.
It's the longest running show,
the radio show has been around forever.
We're still doing the Opry on Saturday nights,
and I'm hosting it and helping produce the TV version of that.
So that's cool because it's nostalgia
from the Grand Ole Opry.
And that one will be a theater of about 4,000 people.
Okay?
the Riemann is a music venue, which was built in the late 1800s, and it's been around forever.
It's where the opera actually started before it moved.
And that is really cool because of the history that the venue holds.
You know, I usually play a show a year there.
It's in, you know, pews, old, old pews.
And then the bluebird is tiny, tiny.
It's the smallest of them all.
You can fit about 60 people in there.
and when you play in there, it's very vulnerable
because people are sitting right on top of you.
And I'm betting on the show
they're going to have people sitting around playing
their song super acoustic
because that's that kind of venue.
Of all of them, I like playing the Opry the best
because of the history there.
The Ryman is probably the most fun
because I play like hour-long shows
and the Bluebird is, man, it's the hardest to play, oddly.
But it'll be interesting.
September, ACMs, back, hopefully.
That's the goal.
Indulge me for a second as I tell you the story, okay, Amy?
Okay.
So what I do is I get on this Peloton bike and I don't enjoy it.
I don't enjoy exercise, but I try to exercise almost every day.
But I get on this bike and it is for 30 minutes awful because I don't let up.
I just get on and go as hard as I can for 30 minutes.
And I'm going pretty good yesterday.
I get a good stretch before and so I'm rocking it and I'm on pace to beat my personal record.
I've had this bike for almost two years and I can feel that I'm on pace to be
my personal record. So I'm like, okay, let me time it out just right. So I get down to the last
minute and I'm like, time to turn it. I've already been just rocking. And I'm out of breath.
And my legs are hurting, but I can take it. I'm trying to get like 475 for 30 minutes. And so I
finally hit over my pace and I'm like, just keep up. I got it. 15 seconds left. And then I feel
something go, no, no, no, no, no. Not in my leg in my stomach. And I'm grinding so
hard on these, I'm just standing up going as hard as I can. And it goes, and I don't think
anything of it. And I'm exhausted. I'm sweating all over everything. And I get off and get off
the bike and I dry off and I walk over to the bathroom. I'm like, oh, I might as well pee.
And I start peeing blood.
What?
Yeah. So I'm peeing blood and I'm like, oh my goodness. Am I dying? And then I think back,
it's like, oh, I think I heard something like click as I was pedaling really hard.
So there's blood everywhere. Because once I started to see blood come out, I kind of reacted weirdly.
I'm like jerked.
So there's blood all over the toilet.
I never pee blood before.
So I'm like, holy crap.
So I cleaned it up.
And I don't know if I should tell Caitlin and I,
because I know she's going to freak out.
I have my doctor's email.
So I'm like, oh, great, what do I do?
So I Google it.
What's it mean when you pee blood?
Don't do that, by the way,
because it's going to give you the pyramid
of the worst things first.
And so I'm like, oh, great.
I'm a little nervous.
I'm like, let me just pee again.
If there's no blood this time,
is probably just some fluke, like a blood flu.
And so I pee again later, more blood.
So I hit my doctor up and he goes,
well, explain what happened.
And I was like, well, I was going on my bike.
And he goes, oh, he goes, yeah, that's not good.
He said, but you have a hematuria, hematuria,
hematuria, something like that.
And I was like, what is that?
He goes, well, it's trauma inside your body
and it happens to marathon runners
when they run too hard and don't take breaks.
And it's like, how often you've been riding this bike?
I was like, oh, over the last 30 days,
I think I've done 28 days on and two days off.
And he goes, do you go hard?
I say every time.
And he goes, okay, well, you hurt yourself.
You've injured your organs.
Oh, my gosh.
Because when you get on, you go too hard.
He goes, do you ever just take breaks?
And I was like, I don't take, there's no breaks.
When I decide to do something, I go.
And he goes, okay, well, you probably shouldn't do that.
He goes, you need to give yourself 48 hours of doing nothing.
And then if you're still bleeding, then we have a bigger issue.
Like you have some serious damage in there.
And so that's what I have.
And I was so proud of myself that I,
injure myself from working, like I was working hard. I was working so hard, I injured an organ.
How about that, baby? Come on. Yeah. How, I didn't even know that that was possible.
Yeah. So in cases where there is no trauma, exercise induced hematuria usually resolves within
around 72 hours after the athletic event. No specific, what? I love that your athletic event was
just you in your room trying to break a record by yourself. Yeah. Listen, I compete, even if it's with
myself. And I did. I won. That's right. I may have injured all my organs, but you know who won? Me.
Me. You know who I beat? Me. Oh. Well, either way, yeah, I was peeing blood yesterday. It was crazy to see.
My, two of my biggest injuries, when I was training to do a triathlon, that's when I got my
hemorrhoid. Remember that? Yeah. They were like, yeah, you're bleeding out of your butt. And I was like,
oh, no, am I dying? They were like, have you been running a lot? I was like, yeah,
been training for a triathlon. They go, okay, well, this is what happens to runners whenever they train
too much. So I've been put on probation. Kailan won't even let me get on the bike. She took one of the
pedals off. No, she didn't. Yeah, yeah, because she knows I'll get on it. When she goes to work,
I'll get on the bike. Oh, that's hilarious. Okay, well, man, that's, that's not where I thought you were
going. Whenever you said you heard pop, I thought you hurt your butt again. Oh, yeah, I did hurt my butt on
that. I had a anal, what's it called?
tear?
Yeah, it's a tear.
I'm sure there's a fancier name for that.
Like, I played high school football and played,
I played, I did a lot of stuff.
I never got injured.
But me riding a bike or, like,
taking a jog is how I get hurt.
That was my day yesterday, though.
Wow.
Okay, well, so we have to monitor it.
You have, what, another day to make sure you're good?
Well, yeah, and Caitlin was so worried.
She was Googling stuff all night.
And I was like, hey, don't worry.
I have no blood in my pee anymore.
She was like,
Okay, well, I'm going to start.
I need to see because I did.
I just don't want her to worry.
Because there's still a little,
but now I think she wants to pee check me.
Yeah, Bobby, you need to stay on it.
I feel like this is one of those weird things where, you know,
something happens.
I'm going to buy my D's pee like they do with steroid test.
No, but you know how people discover something's wrong with their body
from an event that happens that wasn't supposed to result in that.
Now Amy's really scaring me.
She was like, well, this may not be it, Bobby.
Here's the thing.
Well, I'm just making sure we need to monitor it.
So, yes, be honest about your pee, and don't steal it from Mike D.
Okay.
Five bucks a tube.
Okay.
You know, we talked about if you had a beard, if that was bad during Corona.
And they're like, nah, have a beard.
That's fine.
Corona's not going to live in your beard.
That was a big concern at first.
But I was reading this article today.
There are certain reasons you shouldn't grow certain facial hair during the pandemic.
So the CDC stands by everything they said, you know, side whiskers, beard, soul patches, all that's good to go.
But stubble, mutton chops are not recommended. Do you know why?
Why, no.
Because they can actually interfere with the mask and like tear the mask.
Or if you have a full beard that's like puff, you know, thick, it can hold the mask up off your face a little bit.
And it would kind of interfere with how.
the mask is supposed to work. Huh. Okay. So how this, you know, goes with your life is,
shave your face, Amy. I do every day. Well, every other day. Amy does shave her face.
For our listeners out there, Amy takes a razor to her face. And do you want to tell?
Not for that reason. Just because I like to have really smooth skin. It does help your makeup go
or your sunscreen or your moisturizer go on better and helps keep your skin younger. So don't
knock it till you try it. And your husband thinks it's so hot when he walks in and you're
in your face, doesn't it? No, he has to turn around and walk away. If he accidentally walks in on me,
he's like, my eyes. And he walks away and he's like, tell me when you're done so I can come in.
So I can not vomit. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Smuckers is now selling uncrustables filled with
taco meat instead of peanut butter and jelly. I don't know what an uncrustable is. Oh, yeah. You've seen
them in the freezer at the store and they're like little white bread circles with no crust. And on the
inside, there's peanut butter and jelly. And they're in the refrigerator freezer.
No, but it makes sense.
I'm looking at it here.
Amy, I don't know that I've ever seen that.
Do you know what it looks like to me?
My dog has these things that you put a pill inside of.
They're called pill pockets.
And it's just like a gooey treat, but you put the pill in the middle.
That's what these look like.
It's like a white bread pill pocket.
It's like a human hot pill pocket, yeah.
Well, so, yeah, they've always been peanut butter and jelly.
But now there's a taco meat version, which is beef, cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning.
And then they have a barbecue chicken version, which is all white meat chicken.
and barbecue sauce.
You can find them in the freezer section.
They've been spotted at Target for $3.99.
So they're probably at grocery stores all around the country.
But yeah, they'll be in the freezer and then you just heat them up and eat them.
Yeah, it looks pretty good.
I miss eating white bread.
Like as a kid, I ate so much white bread.
I could eat a loaf a day because at times we couldn't afford the meat to go with the white bread.
So we would just eat the bread.
And what you would do is you peel off the crust and you squish it up like a ball.
Sometimes we eat white bread donuts.
I think Mike D knows I'm talking about.
He was poor like me growing up.
Yeah, they were like 49 cents a loaf.
Yeah.
For like 49 cents and you took two or three pieces and you squeezed it together,
but you peeled off all the crust first and you could eat it and act like it's a donut.
But when you got real fancy, you poke like a hole in it and squirt mustard in it and you smush it up
even more and it was like a must.
Do you know about this life?
A donut hole?
Yeah, but bigger than a hole.
It was like the whole donut.
Yeah.
No, no.
I mean, my kids grew up in an orphanage and they grew up on a lot of bread.
So they love when I buy.
We felt full.
Like a loaf.
Yeah.
Even if it was like a minute.
Yeah.
Like a French bread, like a baggett thing.
I mean, they were in Haiti.
So that's the kind of bread they had.
Like if I buy that at the store and bring it home, my kids think they have won the jackpot for dinner.
Well, those smuckers things look pretty good.
What else you got?
Well, speaking of eating the dining room table is getting more use than ever.
And the top uses for it right now during lockdown include children's classroom.
maybe your office, the lunch break table, or like I said, a workspace or a workout space to put your
computer on if you're doing an at-home workout or something. But also for meal time.
On a positive note, families say they're eating more meals together now that they're under lockdown and
they feel closer to relatives and they believe they're being kinder to one another.
I had to move my dining room table because my dog had pooped on the carpet and it was a small
carpet had to get clean. And we broke the table. Now it's in two pieces. It won't go back together.
and he's also taking this carpet as his new poop carpet.
So he's pooped out like eight times when he had the cone on and was sick.
But now I've got to take the table out today and get rid of the carpet.
It's a hold of it.
You're bringing that up just reminding me what I have to do today.
I have a nice table and we broke it.
And it's broken in the middle.
So it's probably unable to repair.
So you really haven't been spending more time at your dining room table.
No, not at all.
But thank you for the reminder what I have to do today.
All right, what else?
So you have been obsessed with this person before.
for Kate Beck and sell. She's had a few stalkers and just... Very pretty. She's very pretty. That is true. And she had to deal with
another stalker showing up to her house. And four cops were actually spotted outside of her house,
going through a backpack that was left at the scene. But even the cops were wearing face masks.
So it's just scary for one thing to think you have a stalker coming to your house, but then you don't know if the
stalker has coronavirus. I guess I didn't think about that. I would think about that. I would think about
the stalker murdering me way before I would get down to coronavirus on the list.
But yeah, I got it. The cops and face masks too is something to think about.
I know. That's what made me think about. The cops even had to show up with masks to protect themselves.
And man, it's just crazy to have someone come to your house. But then, yeah, now they could have a virus.
All right, there you go. I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.

The thing going around yesterday was
you're quarantined with the first artist or band
that you saw in concert.
Who are you quarantined with?
I'll go first.
I got a whole band with mine
I have Diamond Rio
So yeah
Yeah
And I'd remind him
But that first time I saw them
At Magic Springs
Theme Park
And Hot Springs,
Arkansas
There are about 400 people there
And I just kept waiting
In front to play this song the whole time
I was like come on
Play me in the middle
Obviously they were going to
But they played it at the very end
So my first concert was Diamond Rio
A little less room in the house
With all of those guys
but that's me. Amy, who are you quarantined with?
Your first concert?
I'm quarantined with Amy Grant.
Does this mean that I also get Vince Giltier just because?
No, you don't get siblings or married.
No, no, no, no.
Oh, okay.
Although Amy Grant is awesome as a person.
We've got it, we've had a chance to get to know her a little bit.
Just lovely.
So far, you're winning.
Amy, I'm with a bunch of dudes.
I'm with like, older dudes.
Yeah, a bunch of older.
We're going to sit around and watch Matlock all day.
I know.
Yeah.
I feel like not only will Amy sing to me, but she also just take good care of me.
She seems to be a nurturer.
Eddie, what do you have?
Who is your first concert?
Who are you quarantining with?
Man, I wanted to lie about this one because I don't know how we're going to do together
in the same house because we have nothing in common, but that's Clint Black.
Oh, that's good?
Yeah, but I feel like we're going to sit there and be like, cool.
Yeah, but it's only one person.
He can go to his room.
He can go to your room.
Well, you want to play Call of Duty?
Lunchbox, you're quarantining with your first concert.
Who is it?
Ah, Tina Turner, I'm going to stare at those legs for days, man.
April 21st, 2000, Alamodrome, San Antonio, Texas.
There she was.
When he said, I'm going to stare at those legs, I was hoping it wasn't Clint Black.
Me too, I have Clint Black.
Morgan number two.
Now, you're a little younger than us.
Morgan's 26 years old.
So what is it the Wiggles?
What do you have?
No, it's Chenaya Twain.
That's a good one.
Do you remember that first concert, Morgan?
Oh, yeah.
I touched her hand, and she was wearing her Cheetah outfit.
It was everything.
Wow, look at that.
Good for you.
Turn that up.
Well, I guess if she's going to be a heartbeat and fire, to be a breathtaking, earthquake, and God.
Well, I guess if she's wearing the Cheetah outfit in quarantine, I'm going to also
Be with Chenaya Twain.
Yeah?
Let's hear from Annie in Boston.
Hey Bobby, does Caitlin get to go
to the grand old opera
when you do the shows?
And just a footnote for Eddie's wife,
kidney stones, lemonade.
All right, there you go.
The question is about Caitlin.
No, nobody goes to the Opry with me.
So if you're new to this show,
I host and produce a TV show
that's called Opry.
And because of what's happened, the Grand Ole Opry has had to stop with crowds.
So I go every Saturday.
We live stream it.
We, it airs on like 80 stations around the country, and it airs on Circle Network as well.
And people go up and just a couple of artists and they sit up there and they play.
This week's show is massive, by the way.
But no, she can't go.
I can't take anybody with me.
They have rules about how many people can be in the building and we're all very social distanced.
So that's kind of an alone job for me.
At least here I get to talk to you, but I go and I'm far.
away from my cameraman. My producer's just in my ear. I sit on the bench by myself.
I mean, I just kind of feel weird. It does feel weird. I love the grandelopry, obviously.
So that's why, you know, we started that show. That's why I produced the show more than I host it.
But yeah, no, no, she doesn't get to go. She sits here. Usually she makes dinner, which is crazy.
And she's like, okay, 8.30, I get back and I get to eat dinner. She's such a good cook. It's
crazy. But no, she doesn't get to go. I was reading a story about jobs, though, the sexiest and
unsexious jobs for guys. What do you think the sexiest job is for a man? Pilot.
That's what your husband does, but you did not make the list. No. Okay. Firefighter.
No. Oh. Doctor? Yeah, doctor's at number one. Because they have high income and they're
trustworthy. Oh, sorry I wasn't basing it off income. Well, sexy. I mean, sure, that's sexy about
people in some people's eyes.
Mm-hmm.
A lawyer is at number two.
Wow, I just see doctors and lawyers as, yeah, really awesome people, I'm sure, but working a lot.
Okay.
But pilots are gone a lot, too.
If you're looking for someone to be with forever, aren't you looking for someone who is
smart and can provide?
Yeah, and then if you're married to a lawyer, they probably win every argument.
Yeah, that would be tough.
And then a psychiatrist is at number three for sexiest jobs for men.
Oh, is that sexy?
Hmm, he's probably analyzing every move I make.
I know.
The unsexiest jobs for men.
Toe truck driver is at number one, because to do that job, you have to be mean and very rude.
Oh, I bet they're not.
I bet for them it's hard sometimes.
When they're towing a truck or a car, they're probably like, oh, man, I hate that I have to do this.
I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, but it's my job.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't think you keep doing it if you hate it that much.
Oh, well, hey, if you got to pay the bills.
A trash collector is at number two because it's smelly.
And then a TV producer is unsexy because of the odd hours.
So if I were going to pick the sexiest job for a woman, a doctor would be up.
That would be a good one.
But I would put that for me too.
Like, I think just a doctor is so trustworthy and smart.
And you know me, I love smart.
Radio person's not on there?
No, it just missed it.
It was it.
Yeah, just missed it.
We're in the middle of our forced movie reviews.
We all drew somebody's name.
We got to recommend a movie for them.
And Morgan watched Still Magnolias, as was forced on her by Amy,
and gave it four and a half out of five, uh, Shelby's?
Shelby's.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You really enjoyed that movie, huh?
Yeah, I was really good.
Besides, it making me cry.
Yes, I really liked it.
We pulled up all the rotten tomatoes from all these movies
to see who got the best end of the deal.
And Black Panther was 97% positive.
Lunchbox watched that.
Mine was the worst by far.
Lunchbox is making me watch Box of Moonlight
that is the only one in the 60s.
Everybody else was 70s, 80s or 90s.
Oh, come on. 60s ain't bad.
61% is mine.
So I have to start tonight, I guess.
I'm just going to watch like 20 minutes of it.
Ugh.
But Lunchbox did watch Black Panther
As sent to him by Morgan number two
Okay Lunchbox review your forced review of Black Panther
Yeah so going in I was really excited
Because there was so much hype behind this movie
Everybody talks about how great it is
And I'll be honest with you
It was awful boring
Like there wasn't much action
For a like a comic book action movie
That's supposed to be a lot of fighting
There was not very much fighting
I was just like
Okay can we just get to some fighting
it was just storyline.
Okay, boring, boring.
I didn't really think it was that good.
I thought it was way overrated, way overhyped,
and maybe that was the problem.
Maybe I was just expecting excellent things
because everybody talked about how it was so great
and you're going to love it
and you're going to just be so amazed.
And I was just like, man, this is not that good.
Are you sure you don't watch Pink Panther?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I watched it.
Okay.
What do you rate it?
I give it two and a half.
half Wakandas out of five.
Wow. Listen, I saw Black Panther. I loved
it. Who else saw...
Amy, did you?
No, my kids did. They loved it.
Let's go to movie, Mike. Here's a whole podcast on movies.
What do you think of Black Panther? I mean, that's one of the best Marvel movies.
Great.
Do we think Lunchbox is being a contrarian here?
I think so. 100%.
Okay. Well, it's his review, though. His forced review is
two and a half Wakandas out of five?
Yes. Okay. There you go.
97% positive of Rotten Tomatoes.
I guess I'm a 3%er right there
It's not it's done everybody's cup of tea
Wow but do you like the superhero movies
I like some of them like I liked Iron Man
Because I felt like Iron Man was a lot of action
The whole time fights fights fights craziness
This was just kind of like I was just
I don't know it was just
It wasn't my cup of tea
I can't ruin it there's things that I want to say
But I don't want to ruin it for people
That I'm just like okay that's just dumb
What else have you seen other than Iron Man
Uh
I've seen Batman
Okay, not Marvel.
Okay.
I think that's it.
Oh, you haven't, so you haven't seen any of the series.
No, I haven't seen any of them.
So I'm just jumping into this one.
And I, you know, so I was just like, okay, cool.
Oh, but that's okay.
As long as you don't jump into Avengers like that,
I think that's fine.
Yeah, I haven't seen Avengers.
Everybody says, and I, at one point, I even called Morgan number two,
and I was like, am I supposed to, did I miss something from another show?
Because I don't know what's happening right here.
And she was like, just watch it.
It'll explain it.
And it did explain it, but I thought I'd missed it from one of the other movies.
Morgan, how do you feel about him hating Black Panther?
Oh, it hurts my heart a lot.
But, I mean, I can't hate him for his own opinion.
But Black Panther is a fantastic movie.
I mean, he's just wrong.
I agree.
I agree that it's also really good.
Okay.
Next up, Amy has to watch Parasite.
Eddie has to watch Eight Mile.
And I have to read the Cliff's notes of Box of Moonlight.
You got to watch the whole movie, Bones.
Come on.
Okay.
Come on.
Yeah.
I mean, but don't worry.
Mine, I have to watch.
Amy, yours is great.
I've seen Parasite.
I know the subtitles are bugging you.
You'll forget about it.
You're just going on with a bad attitude.
And your rating is 99%, Amy.
Come on, Amy.
Like that and Black Panther
are two of the highest rated movies
on all of Rotten Tomatoes.
Yeah, and I had to read subtitles on mine,
so it's the same thing, Amy.
You had to read subtitles on Black Panther?
Yes.
Occasionally.
Okay, okay.
This one's all in Korean, though.
Like Amy's is all different language.
Yeah, I do get used to the subtitles on Narcos Mexico, so I guess I could get used to the ones on this.
Okay.
Well, good luck.
We have until the end of the week to finish these movies.

They say the hand sanitizer,
Lysol, Chlorox wipes,
all those they won't return to normal
until August, at least.
And they are producing this stuff so fast
and they still can't meet the demand of it.
Even with toilet paper,
it could be till early next year
to when the shelves are back
and they're full of toilet paper,
we can go and just get someone we need it.
So are you able to get toilet paper right now?
We ordered some a couple.
I found some, not too long ago, but then I needed to drop it off at my dad's because he said he needed it.
I was like, well, shoot.
So then we ordered some and we knew it might take a while.
So we just were patient.
And I think about four weeks later, it showed up.
Oh, wow.
That's the delay.
Four weeks.
We're pretty good.
I have some stuff I was doing with Continental, so I have some toilet paper.
I get lunchbox some, too.
When the Cotonel, we ordered from Cotonel, and I forgot about it.
And when it came, I thought, when I saw the Cotonel packaging on my doorstep,
I thought that you, because I knew you were working with him, I was like, well, this is just so sweet.
You're welcome.
Bobby got with Cotonel and ordered it.
And then my husband said, no, you don't remember about a month ago, we ordered that.
It's crazy.
It takes that long, huh?
Yeah, it took so long.
I forgot we ordered it.
Lunchbox couldn't find any anywhere.
And he hit me up, and I was like, yeah, so I sent him a big old bag of it.
But we're doing that Chera Square campaign for charity.
It's on my Instagram, if you want to see it, at Mr. Bobby.
bones. So I saw that story. And then I saw where Chicago's public health director said that if you're thinking
about going to a swimming pool, not a great idea during the crisis because there's something called
a fecal shedding. Here we go. Listen to this. I don't want to, oh. The practice of obviously being in a
swimming pool, unfortunately, we do know that there is some fecal shedding of the coronavirus. If I can
go ahead and share that. And so as well as associated with pools, you would have locker rooms with
which people would need to change.
So you would have more people congregated in the same setting.
Amy, your thoughts?
I've never heard fecal shedding before in my life.
It's my favorite band in high school, the fecal shedders.
I don't ever want to hear it again.
But if you're thinking about going to pools.
No, I get it.
That's a huge.
My kids, we love taking them to the community pool in the summer.
They love being in a pool.
And I already know that that's not going to be an option this summer.
So we're trying to figure out what we're going to do.
Yeah.
Well, just tell them no fecal shedding and they're fine.
Just don't...
I don't think you can control it.
We put masks on everybody's butts.
Oh.
You know, I've been a big germaphobe before being a germaphobe is cool.
You know, if I'm being honest here.
And I had a bunch of surgical masks, not the N95 type,
but surgical masks.
I'd box other of them whenever this thing happened
because I would talk about flying on airplanes and wearing a mask
because I don't want anybody sitting next to me.
but we've pretty much passed all them out at this point.
Caitlin made a big basket and was any delivery driver,
she leaves a thing out front.
It's like, hey, if you need a mask, take it.
So we're pretty much down to that.
But now it's going to be easier to get a mask, obviously.
And you're seeing a lot of companies make them too
because everybody's going to need one at some point.
So they're making it with like your favorite team,
basketball teams, football teams, you know, colors.
So that will be easier to get.
But we'll have to wait a few months for all the other stuff.
It's time.
for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
There's a lot of worry in the world right now.
How am I going to pay my bills but for one group in Fortville, Indiana, the whole town.
They don't have to worry about their water and sewer bills, thanks to an anonymous donor.
Called up the city and said, hey, I want to pay everybody's water and sewage for the month.
That's $210,000 paid by a stranger.
I love the story.
It's a bit risky when you don't know how much you're paying for, though anonymously.
Like, I love it.
But imagine you're like, you know what?
I'm just going to pay everybody's water bill.
And then somebody had like a broken faucet one month.
Because one time, and then it's some, because that's a lot of money.
But one time I was at dinner, I think I told the story on the air.
And somebody who listens to the show, they came over and said, hey, they want to pay your meal for your meal at dinner.
And I was like, oh, they shouldn't do that.
I'll pay for theirs.
And the waiter goes, are you sure?
And I was like, yeah, why not?
And there were six people eating.
But I didn't know that.
I just said I want to pay for it.
But yeah, that's an awesome story.
I love that.
Anytime anybody can help out, that's amazing.
How much was that bill again, Lutchbox?
$210,000 says $210K.
Dang, that is crazy.
Anyway, that is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
If you go to the podcast today, because we're about to be done here,
you can hear Amy and my girlfriend,
they both were in here together.
I had Caitlin come up for a second.
And Amy got my girlfriend involved in something
that I am not comfortable with.
That's all I'm going to say.
I'm going to leave it there.
I'm not comfortable with what you got my girlfriend
involved in.
It is not good for me,
but our listeners can hear that
on the podcast.
Also, two forced movie reviews.
We've been forced to watch movies
by somebody else on the show.
And Morgan number two reviews
pretty little flowers.
What's it called?
Steel magnolias.
That's it.
And then Lunchbox reviews Black Panther.
And some surprising reviews there.
So you can hear.
that. And we had some funny tell me something good stories. We have a pastor that referenced us
in his sermon and somebody in the military that referenced tell me something good from us in the
Air Force magazine. Here are those stories. It's a good show today. I hope you check it out. Also,
Walker Hays was on. I had to apologize to him. So check it all out. That's it. Amy, what's
going on today? Oh, you know, same all here. I feel like we're in the home stretch.
Only a couple more weeks left of homeschool. So, and then trying to decide when we're
to make for dinner tonight. I'm going to have to bust out something from the freezer.
Oh.
Something. I don't know. I don't even know what that means. Something's been there for a while.
No, well, yeah. I mean, I stocked up on a few things, and we just don't want to go back to the grocery
store, and so I've got to, like, dig through the freezer and see what I can, I don't know,
somehow whip up something for dinner. What about you? I have a call today with someone who wants to
turn my first book into a TV show. Nuh. Yeah. I don't know. I've had a couple people try to buy
option because I can sell my story, but I haven't found anyone that I thought would do it justice,
but I have a call with someone who, it's a second call.
That's cool.
Yeah, we'll see how that turns out.
So who would play you?
Me.
Oh.
It depends on what age of me it is, though.
Right, because I'm thinking bare bones is, it's your life story.
There's so many different.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Right, but I would play me now if it even got to series.
Who knows?
Okay.
We're just talking about somebody writing.
I jump ahead.
That's what's up.
See you guys tomorrow.
Thank you very much for being here for being a part of the team.
