Starting point is 00:02:54 We just finished Thursday's radio show And we've decided to come on a little bit now And do some post show I did see a story I think it was New York Post That a story about this guy Whose girlfriend lives as a kitty cat Like that's what she identifies as
Starting point is 00:03:06 You see it? And he's her master No Yeah his name's Robb He's 52 He's an aerospace engineer from Colorado And he's head over heels And love for a woman
Starting point is 00:03:17 Who identifies as a feline He's a sci-fi Oh I guess she's a sci-fi geek regardless she lives as a cat and he like feeds her and scratches her back and stuff she says she's been into
Starting point is 00:03:31 pussycat role playing her entire life oh my gosh probably a deal breaker for me right if I date somebody and they're like listen I am a hamster I'm like excuse me yeah yeah for sure like this is my wheel
Starting point is 00:03:44 they go into the room they got a wheel they're on they drink water out of that little thing the bottle upside down bottle like regardless of how, like, fun and hot, like, that's got to be a... Fun and hot. They are?
Starting point is 00:03:57 Yeah, like, what are they're smoking, smoking hot? What I'm saying? They're so fun, but then it's like, I'm also a tortoise. And you're like, oh, man, everything was perfect except she's a tortoise. Can I look at least that? I identify. I have to go into my shell every night. This poor guy, got him a girlfriend, now she's a cat. But he obviously doesn't mind. He's a, he's her master. Yeah, and he's got a chain around her neck and...
Starting point is 00:04:17 No. I'm looking at it here. No, no, no. But you know what? Whatever. If they're into it, both they're both, they're both into it, they're not hurting anybody, good for them. I'm glad they found love. Just for me, that would be a deal breaker. There was an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Robert, the brother, finds this girl that he really likes, and
Starting point is 00:04:32 in the end, he ends up, like, oh, it goes back to her place, and he opens her bedroom door, and it's like a whole wall of terrariums with frogs. She's way into frogs. And he can't. And then he's like, oh my God, and then Raymond sees her eat a fly. Oh my God. Like a frog. Like, she's a frog. That's just my luck.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I'm going to find somebody, and that's what they're going to do. Yeah, I'm a camel. Wait, what? I carried this water on my back all at all times. Gotta be kidding me. It's called She's the One, the Raymond episode. I don't ever see Raymond on TV anymore. No, I don't either.
Starting point is 00:05:02 He just come on reruns a lot, but I don't see it. Is it on Netflix? I watched, speaking of streaming shows, I did watch another episode of Modern Love last night. Yeah. I'm six in of eight. Okay, you're almost done. Is anyone done?
Starting point is 00:05:14 I have one more left. I'm not done, but I will say, I guess I watched episode five. Just give me the basis of it. Tina Faye? No, it's the one after that one. That's my least favorite one, the Tina Faye one. Yeah, mine too.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I like the hospital one. Oh, the hospital one's great, that's episode five, the hospital one. It was? Yeah. What? I don't do, we're not spoiling it. Okay. It's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:05:37 I was just wondering, I guess I missed it, or maybe I was too busy doing other things, I didn't grasp the full thing, but I was like, what? I don't, I don't understand when I just watched. Amy, do you ever sit down and just watch something without doing something else? Yeah, when my husband and I were going to bed. She's so scattered all the time that even when she tries to she doesn't It's got to be tough
Starting point is 00:05:56 No offense True, true I'll watch a whole thing And then I'll be like Oh man, what happened? I don't remember that Or Bobby can remember that Raymond episode with the frog
Starting point is 00:06:04 And sometimes I've seen a friend's episode Like five times And I'm like, shoot What did Rachel and Ross do? I don't always They broke up And got back together I know
Starting point is 00:06:14 I know But episode five I gotta say Of all that I've watched It was my least favorite Then you didn't watch it right. I think I did. You liked the Tina Fey one?
Starting point is 00:06:24 That was okay, yeah. But it's not... That was my least favorite one. I was like a waste of time. Really? Yeah. I'm going to rank them all when they're done. I'll do a blog article on it.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Cool. I get to Morgan number two. What's every's favorite again? Mine's the Ann Hathaway one. No, not mine. I like the zoo. That was good. I like the dormant.
Starting point is 00:06:42 The first two are my favorite on Modern Love. Yeah, I would say the dormant is mine. And by the way, if you're listening to this, you've never watched the show. It's on Amazon Prime. And one episode has nothing to do with the next. None. Different actors, different stories, slightly different links.
Starting point is 00:06:53 They're all 30-ish minutes long. Yeah, they're short. They have nothing to do with each other, so there's nebs. You can watch them in a different order, doesn't matter. But don't, because then you fall off. It's interesting to me how we like different things, though. Did you watch Morgan, too, yet? No, I'm actually watching tonight.
Starting point is 00:07:07 It's, like, on my DVR ready to go. The doorman thing, I think, was because the dad stuff. Mm-hmm. I think we just relate to them in different ways. And that's what, because they're all good stories and episodes. But I think we, the hospital, I related to completely. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah. It wasn't about the hospital at all. Like 0% about the hospital. So what was it about? I don't think you really watched it. Yes, I did too. I did too. He was their second day.
Starting point is 00:07:34 She stuck with him. I know. But that's not really what it's about. Bobby wants somebody to be there all night for him. That's not what it's about. I think you're missing the point. Then please tell me. I'll tell you off the ear because I don't want to spoil it for our listeners.
Starting point is 00:07:47 And he's got another thing wrong with him too. He talks a lot. Are you talking about? No. What's wrong with them? But that's what's great. Everybody pulls something different out of these episodes. It's called Modern Love.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Okay. We'll talk about this after. Episode 3 is my favorite. Anne Hathaway, check it out. Anna Hathaway one is really good. Yeah, the bipolar one. Yeah, yeah, it's good. I did watch the young girl, old guy one last night.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Oh, that's a weird one, dude. That's a weird one, man. Like, that one to me was a different level of until they talked about it. Then I was like, okay, they're talking. about it. Before then, it was very weird. Wait, yeah, because I only saw the very weird. It reminds me of me of me and your husband, Amy. I mean, you and your husband. Reminds me of you and your husband. He's older. He is three years older than me. I'm just kidding. Don't watch
Starting point is 00:08:33 watch. That one's a crazy one. We're going to move off of this though because a lot of people that don't watch it. They don't care. I've checked out. Yeah. Guys, never-ending sinus infection was a little baggy of weed. He put in his nose 18 years earlier. 18 years. Was he trying to hide it? He'd snorted a bag of weed when he was going to jail. 15 years earlier. Oh my gosh. And you forgot? And then it was like, oh, then forgot and then the end. Wow. That was a sinus infection. Speaking of medical stuff, I saw Shail Leboot said he was diagnosed with PTSD from fame. Oh my gosh. Which is a weird thing. But again, I could see that working. I know people are busting his balls by this going, your fame, shut up. No. Things happen to you in all parts, in all circumstances.
Starting point is 00:09:13 It doesn't matter where you are. You can be affected traumatically in many ways. So he may have had something that happened to him in one of, listen, you could be trampled while being famous. You don't think that's going to be traumatic? Of course it is. So I think, especially when it comes to mental illness, people start to go, or things that with mental health, they start to judge quickly before they've ever even thought about the other ways that you could experience it. I didn't watch the interview. I read the news story and you do read it and you go, wham, cry me a river, right? I'm going to tell you where I relate to this, not in the fame part, but I used to see people that would grow up rich and they'd be like, oh, life's, and I'd be like, shut up. You're rich. How lucky is that? But then you would get older and you would see about all the
Starting point is 00:09:56 struggles that with their parents and the disconnection. And I'm like, oh, well, here I am going, oh, because you're rich, you can have problems, which is completely unfair because there were just other issues that would happen around that. And the same thing with people going, oh, you're famous. Shut up. I was the same way toward rich people. But you can't because you don't know what happens to somebody in any circumstance. The more you think you know about somebody in their private life, the less you do. So that was his thing. He said, he spoke about his struggles, and he blames, again, I'm going to say it. It's going to be hard not to roll your eyes.
Starting point is 00:10:29 But he blames the money because the more he had of it, the more family issues that he had. And who knows what your parents want from you when you're rich? And does that change the dynamic? There's trust issues. So I'm sure when you win the lottery, there's a lot of mental, because people are like, oh, you're my best friend. You don't know who to trust anymore. That's why nobody even knows who's in my will. You're what?
Starting point is 00:10:53 I will. Oh, your, wheel, will. Will. Will. No, we are. No, we're not. You are, Amy. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I've never revealed who's in my will. I get to decide if you stay alive. But I doesn't mean you're on my will. Oh, I thought the medical power of attorney was in there. You doesn't mean you get anything. You don't get a prize to keep me alive. Oh, I didn't say I would get anything. But you better, if you want me to keep you alive, which I will.
Starting point is 00:11:13 I need funds. You won't know though until I'm dead if you're getting anything. Okay, I'm just saying. To keep you alive, we're going to know. need money. Yeah, but still my money while I'm alive. I'm pretty sure I'm on it. If I had to guess, we'd be on it. Who's on it? I'd gamble on it. I gave you guys enough. I've found you guys. I gave you great jobs. But when you go, what is that song, Christian Bush? I've never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch, man. You got to leave that money somewhere. Yeah, somebody's going
Starting point is 00:11:42 and got any kids. And who knows where it's going. We're kind of your kids. I have a niece and nephew. That is so true. I hope that they're in there. And I'll definitely give it to them before you guys. I hope so. I hope so. You should. Or what? I hope so. I hope so. You should. Or What I? Whatever's left, though. I'm saying? Have you done a living will, Amy? Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:03 I had to because we were adopting as part of the whole process. So, yep. I mean, I have to decide who's going to get our kids. Is it me? I guess you'll have to find out. Is it me? When I die. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:12:16 What have we all left our kids to bones? He had no idea. He had no idea. I'd be like, ah, I'd be good with that. Yeah. No, I think he'd be a great dad. I'd be great with that. Actually, I think...
Starting point is 00:12:24 And they're not babies anymore? Are you kidding? Oh, yeah. Well, hopefully they're over 18. I can't take around running. I think he'd have fun with Stevenson's Sashira. He would take care of them. Oh, maybe if it's a lifestyle change.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Who cares? What do you mean? You can't bring them all to work, bones. I can do whatever I want. There we go. They would be in school. About another six months or so, my dog will be coming here hanging out when he just sleeps. So, yeah, I'm going to...
Starting point is 00:12:47 I can't say that yet. I can't even think about this. I mean, you'd be a great dad to them. Yeah. Something where to happen. me and my husband. I need to... They be in Harvard. First they have to get into Harvard.
Starting point is 00:13:00 I'd make sure they get in. I'd have them build a... Lori Lothan. Haitian building and dedicated to them, and then they get in. Yeah. Bobby, do you know when the Ronnie Dunn pictures will go up for the raffle?
Starting point is 00:13:10 I do not. We have a meet on that next week. Some really fun cowboy pictures. Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn took of me. And we're not going to do an auction. No, we're not going to... We're not going to do a highest money offer. What is it?
Starting point is 00:13:21 It's like a raffle. Like for 10 bucks. You buy a ticket and then we draw. Oh. That's why I was asking you. Because I wanted to buy one. Not that I would win, but. Well, I'm sure you could, we could print another one out.
Starting point is 00:13:33 You can make out your own donation. Okay. Of one million dollars. You want a picture of Bobby and a cowboy? It's hilarious. Have you seen the pictures? They're awesome. Have you seen him?
Starting point is 00:13:45 Yeah. I've seen him. Why are you laughing? I'm framing a bunch of stuff. Like in, like. Why are you laughing, Eddie? Because they're human. to me. Morgan number two, what did you think about him?
Starting point is 00:13:55 I thought they were fabulous. Like, for real, you looked so good in them. No, they look great. Eddie's a hater. If I didn't know you. Eddie, are you jealous? Yeah, Eddie's jealous. He is. He's jealous. If I didn't know you, I'd be like, I'm not bad. This is a cowboy right there.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I know bones, though. It's so funny to see him in like wranglers, the rope and everything. And everything's cowboy and these guys glasses on. Well, yeah. I like it. Yeah, that's the best part. And that Ronnie Dunn took the pictures. That's cool. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:22 You're being a hater right now. No, why? What do you mean? It's pretty funny. You're being a, well, I would admit it's pretty funny. Pretty funny. But you're being a hater. No.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Mm-hmm. All right, I think that's going to do it. Amy, anything you want to say? Do you have a new podcast going up today? I do. And it's with Craig Canover from Southern Charm. Is that the pillow guy? Yes, he makes pillows.
Starting point is 00:14:43 And yeah, he's a Bravo reality star. But he's got, he's kind of surface on TV, but he has a lot of layers. Like, it's a good podcast. Peeled him back like a nun. How many pillows he make a day? Oh, I have no idea. Does he make him himself? Oh, I think he was sewing himself when he was on TV.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Yes, he sews him on the show, but I think he's had to expand to where he has, like, a partnership now with pillow companies, and then he just picks out the fabric maybe. I don't know. But he's doing a pillow tour. Is he doing his own TV show now? No, he's still just doing Southern Charm. It's still going. I don't know how many seasons they have, like, six or seven.
Starting point is 00:15:19 It's a good show. I know that Ray and Bay like it. Ready like Southern Charm? Yeah, it's pretty good. They're not doing one. Right now, we're waiting until the next season. Oh, yeah, he did reveal. I guess he's a part of some Bravo show called like Summer House or something.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Yeah, that was already a show. The people in New York, he goes to parties. He filmed and he's going to be on that too, but I don't know if that's released yet. Basically all these kids party, they don't have actual jobs. And so he was so bored at his house, he decided to pick up pillow making, but he fell behind in that and didn't make any of the pillows. So his business buddy goes, hey, you can have outsourced and have other people make the pillows and you just pick out fabric.
Starting point is 00:15:54 And he's like, really? So that's why his business is booming now. But I will say Ray is giving you the TV version of Craig, which I agree. When he first came in, I was like, oh, great. You know, I mean, this is kind of fun to have Craig from Bravo TV in my house talking to me on my podcast. But it was way more than that. Like, he's a really cool dude. Like, and he's got a lot.
Starting point is 00:16:13 I wish they would showcase that more. But of course, editing and whatnot. Four things with Amy Brown. Yes. I will say that one, there's a. great Josh Kier episode up. Now he's a songwriter. He's written two country songs, wrote a mass country songs that crossed over in a pop. Crazy that happens once to anybody, but twice. So I really enjoyed the talk that I had with Josh Kier and that he wrote
Starting point is 00:16:33 before he cheats for Gretchen Wilson, but then Carrie Underwood got it and he was so disconnected. He didn't know what Carrie Underwood was. It's a really great story. I hope you check that out. But last night we recorded one with Blanco Brown. He came over to the house. Who does? Going to do the two-step and cowboy. Is that up? No, it doesn't go up until him probably Monday. Oh, okay. But it's real good. And him and his two brothers
Starting point is 00:16:54 weren't a singing group. His kids in Atlanta, they met without a cat. It was a whole thing. Oh, wow. He had been going hard. He went to the World Series the night before,
Starting point is 00:17:02 came over to the house. We saw him with the Titans game. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's been in, did you know the words that get up or not in that song at all? I don't know the Gat up.
Starting point is 00:17:10 It's never mentioned. Wow, it's not. And he talks about why the song is named that. It's not for what you think. But that'll be up Monday. So subscribe to the Bobbycast. You can listen to that podcast.
Starting point is 00:17:19 The guys are doing the fourth thing. The sore losers The four things about sports The sore losers Podcast You can check that out too We'll talk world series today All right
Starting point is 00:17:31 That's all she wrote Here is Thursday's show Morgan number two Great costume today Thank you And your onesie I wore my baseball uniform costume Because it's super comfortable
Starting point is 00:17:41 It looks good And thank you I'm Steve Jobs We're wearing a black turtleneck What You're joking right No Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:55 If you identify Steve Jobs, then you do it. It's like a kitty cat. I'm on my Apple computer right now. Wow, she got us again. Only if you have an iPhone will I believe it, though. Oh, crap. And I have earbuds. Or what do they call?
Starting point is 00:18:05 Airbud is a dog. Earbuds. I have AirPods or whatever in my bag. I'm watching Airbud. You look more like Elizabeth Holmes whenever you pulled your hair back this morning. She's a Derenice woman. Do you ever watch a documentary on HBO? No.
Starting point is 00:18:20 So crazy. Or you could listen to the podcast about it. called like dropout or something. You should watch that, Eddie. What is it? It's the inventor. The inventor. Sorry. The company was Staroni.
Starting point is 00:18:31 It's on Netflix? No, it's on HBO. Oh, okay. Do you have HBO? I do. Okay. Podcasts dropout. TV shows, The Inventor. Watch the TV show. How she... Crazy. And then, no, she talks like this.
Starting point is 00:18:43 But she's super hot. She's really pretty, but she talked like that, like, on purpose. You know, she probably really talk like me. There's just a lot of things you have to read about that and make up your own. in mind, but you're like, dang, that she's hot. She's smart. That's awesome. And she's like, hello. What are you doing? Starting point is 00:23:02 Hey, what's the Hats? I bring my story to you today, Amy, because then you have bad back problems. Yeah. And so if you're, this is my What's the Haps. I read this about you. Back is bothering you. Try sleeping on the floor. Have you done that yet? I mean, it does feel really good on the floor. If I sleep on a soft mattress, I'm over. So my bed is really firm.
Starting point is 00:23:23 It says for a couple of nights, because it puts pressure on different parts of your back and relaxes the parts are always tense. For some people with back pain, sleeping on the ground, alleviates those. It resets you even. Oh, yeah. I will try. So sometimes to reset, I get that feeling. Like, I will lay flat on the floor. And then it just takes a minute and I release. And I'm like, oh, like it just feels. so good and once it all releases I can feel it. Well, I unselfishly brought my What's the Haps for you today? Thank you. You're welcome. I might try sleeping on the floor tonight. Will you
Starting point is 00:23:50 that really? No, I really might. It just depends. I really might. Hey, what's the Hats? Hey! What's the Hats? Amy, what's up? So have y'all tried hay straws? Straws? Like a straw that's not plastic? Straws that are made out of hay. And I have ordered
Starting point is 00:24:06 some and I'm super excited about them because I cannot get into paper straws. They taste funny to me. the plastic straws, I just, they're just what I'm used to. And that's what I like. But I know that they're not good for the environment. So I have to stop. And so I was at a restaurant and they had hay straws.
Starting point is 00:24:24 And I thought, well, these are genius. And I can use these. So I have some on order and I'm super excited. Why would I order hay straws when I go to the barn? Right. If you're not going to work. You're not going to really be able to drink out of a straw. That's interesting.
Starting point is 00:24:39 It looks like they're $27. What? I'm not saying they've been strong. No, a big box of them. Okay, a $27. As an investment in the environment. Okay, let us know how it goes. Because you can use them over and over again, right?
Starting point is 00:24:55 I mean, I get judged either way. You know, I use plastics and $27 on haydraals. That's true. Hey, what's the hat? Lunchbox, what's happening? Recently, the 05 Ultima hit 200,000 miles. And so I was like, you know, 200,000 miles. There has to be something wrong with her.
Starting point is 00:25:12 her to the car repair shop and just dropped her off and said, look, give her a once over, tell me what all the major things need to be done to fix her, make her in great shape. And I got a call back like four hours later. Look, she is absolutely perfect. You may need breaks in another six, seven months. But besides that, the 05 ultimate is in tip top shape. What's the goal? Mileage.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Oh, I want to get to 300. Oh, my gosh. Wow. I mean, that's a long ways away. But if she's in tip top shape at 200, that means we got another 100,000 in her. Golly, just treat her nice I mean, she just looks so good too If you get it to half a million, you get in commercials probably
Starting point is 00:25:48 Oh, that would be awesome Hey! What's the hat? Eddie? I saw a commercial for something coming in August of 2020 and I'm so excited. Next year? Yeah, what is it?
Starting point is 00:26:00 They're having a real baseball game, Major League baseball game at the Field of Dreams Field. Like, it's going to be the Yankees versus the White Sox in Iowa. And I mean, I talked to my wife, I'm like, I really want to get tickets to this. Because, like, number one, that's one of my favorite movies ever. Have you seen Philadelphia Dreams, Amy? I have.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Back in the day, Kevin Kousen. Yeah, way back. And if the players are going to come out of the corn like they do in the movie, this is going to be amazing. That would be pretty cool. I know. I'm really excited. I'm really hard to get. Is it a spring training game?
Starting point is 00:26:26 I think it's a regular season. It is? Oh, I didn't know that. I mean, August would be regular season. Yeah. Wow, look at that. That's pretty cool. Yeah, it's exciting.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Hey. Hey, what's the hatch? All right, that's what's happening with us. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. So just like fantasy football drafts, you all sit around a room and draft players and all the players go on a team and the team that does the best wins. That's basically what this is. But we draft different things. It was Halloween candy recently.
Starting point is 00:26:56 It was happiest songs recently. And today we are doing the hot guy draft. So we'll go around the room. You can draft a hot guy. And at the end, you have a team of three hot guys. And if our listeners vote your team the best, then you get a point. That's how it goes. So today the hot guy draft will be the first pick is Eddie, Morgan number two, myself, Amy Lunchbox, in that order.
Starting point is 00:27:18 That's the first round. Then the second round, it goes backward. So then it goes Lunchbox all the way back around. That being said, it's now time to start our Hot Guy draft. Eddie, you have the first pick. I do. I spent all night Google imaging people. No, not really.
Starting point is 00:27:32 No, I had this list easy. It's not a long list, but I knew exactly who I was going to go with. My number one pick is? Bobby Bones. There's no way you win with that. What do you mean? I appreciate that. Dude, I'm telling you, my list isn't long at all.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I have five people on my list. Number one is Bobby Bones. Take it. There is no chance that that's a winner. And also, here's the two things that are going to happen. Are you a good-looking hot guy? No. One, you're going to lose and two of my feelings are going to be hurt at the same time.
Starting point is 00:28:01 You won't lose, dude. Because it's going to be the last place. Bones. Our voters will vote for you. This is just, I'm just waiting to be punched in the mouth when I look at the results. later. I hate that you pick me because now I'm my feeling. Sorry, man. I went with my heart. I know. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Good sucking up too. I appreciate. Oh, he doesn't need a suck up. We're best. We're BFFs. Not a suck up. Morgan number two, are you ready? Yes. Who is your hot guy pick? He's from Australia and he's very well known. His name is Chris Hemsworth. He's a good looking guy. I have to eliminate him from my list. That's a good pick. Okay. Same. Well, I'm going to go with pick number three, Luke Bryan.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Thank you. Overall, dancer, good-looking dude, good dude. I'm going to Luke Bryan is my first round pick. What you think about that one? It's a great pick. I had it. Oh, you did? For sure.
Starting point is 00:28:56 I was pretty proud that no one would have that one. No, I had it. Amy? Okay, well, since you with music, it makes me maybe want to go music for my first one. But I'm going to go with my gut. And this guy can sing and dance. You just don't really know it. You can't pick me at two.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Eddie already picked you. Ryan Gosseling. Great, great pick. Easy first rounder. Could have been number one pick and we'd all have been like, good pick, good pick, good pick. Hot Guy Draft. Lunchbox is drafting his team.
Starting point is 00:29:26 This is the first pick. Lunchbox? Yeah, my wife, when I said we were doing this draft, the first name out of her mouth, which was a little too fast, was Channing Tatum. Oh, good one. He is number one, Channing Tatum. Scratch that out.
Starting point is 00:29:41 I didn't have them, but I wish I would have. It's one of those where I'm like, oh, why don't I think about that? Yeah, I forgot about Magic Mike. So in the first round, we have the people pick for the hot guy draft, Bobby Bones, Chris Hemsworth, Luke Brian, Ryan, Ryan Gosling, and Channing Tatum. I'm going to be honest, one of them don't belong. Yeah, Channy Tatum? No. All right.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Amy, you have second round pick here. Oh, no, lunchbox does. First pick of the second round. Second pick of the first pick of the second round My wife likes this guy I think he's funny Why do you have your wife Just pick because he doesn't want to pick
Starting point is 00:30:19 Zach Ephron You don't like Zach Ephron? He's all right Yeah Amy I'm gonna go with Justin Timberlake Good pick Hot
Starting point is 00:30:32 This is the overall thing too Oh it's the whole thing Yeah I'm gonna go Bradley Cooper Super is my next pick. Solid. Yeah, I'm going to go Bradley Cooper.
Starting point is 00:30:48 I like that. Oh, yeah, hit that one. Let's play this song when this is over. It reminds me we should play this song more. I'll play that song. Morgan number two. I'm going to go with the singer this time. I'm going Tim McGraw.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Good one. I have him on mine. So many ads. Yeah. I for sure did. My baby. She's a chipper wall. She's a one of the kind.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Eddie? All right, I'm going with another singer, but I'm going with Sam Hunt. Good one. Come on. Hit it! Oh, that's good. Hey, we're talking hoties. Yeah. Hotties.
Starting point is 00:31:27 It's a good one. Wow. Eddie just saved you, Bobby. No, no, they're won, Amy. They're in a group. What are you trying to say, Amy? You said you were saying he might lose with you, but now he's not going to lose with you. Sam.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Come on, Sam. Carry me home, buddy. Good point, Amy. I don't want to, I'm torn. Now I want you to win, kind of, because I've been. be like, yay. I want me to win too. I know.
Starting point is 00:31:49 I know. Okay. Eddie, here are your first picks because you'll start the third round. Yes. You have Bobby Bones and Sam Hunt. Now, you have one final pick to go. Easy.
Starting point is 00:32:00 You know it. Oh, wow. I had one person left in my list. Yeah? Here we go. Are you ready? Go ahead. Brad Pitt.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Come on. Solid. Beautiful, beautiful hot man. Solid, solid, solid. Solid. Morgan number two. You have Chris Hemsworth and Tim McGraw. Who will you be adding to that list?
Starting point is 00:32:19 Well, he's hot and he has a great personality. He's Mr. Ryan Reynolds. Yeah, yeah. Funny on Instagram, too. Okay. I have Luke, Brian, and Bradley Cooper. Mm-hmm. I'm going to tell you, I was thinking about Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Oh, man. Oh, I didn't even think of him. Good one. Because I love Tom Brady. Yeah. I love the Patriots. But I feel like a lot of people that don't like the Patriots would hold that against me. That would be the rest of the country.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yes, I'm going to go George straight. Oh, Amy, that is so mean. Amy, welcome to fantasy dress. A little secret that nobody knows. You took the hottest guy in country music. Well, then why do you pick him? You had two picks to pick them. You did.
Starting point is 00:33:06 You left them there. I thought that was your first pick. Okay. Play your cards right. Yeah. If you expect the win in life. Duna n'n-n-knit. Okay, I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Okay, you have one pick left. You have Ryan Gossling and Justin Timberlake. Who's your last pick? David Beckham. Good pick. Solid. Can't go wrong with David Beckham. Nope.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Lunchbox, you have Channing Tatum and Zach Efron. Tattoos. Ah, yeah. I don't have any. Oh, man. This is a tough one. Denzel? He's on there.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Yeah, he's on mine, too. He's on there, but it's not going to be Denzel. He's a great actor, but he's not going to win. Who's going to win me this vote is going to, gonna be America loves this dude. His name's George Clooney. George Clooney. All right. George Clooney. Just to roll down the teams real quick. Then I'm gonna play shallow because I hadn't heard that in a while. When that comes on anywhere, I'm always like, dang, it's a good song. Eddie has Bobby Bones, Sam Hunt, and Brad Pitt.
Starting point is 00:34:01 That's right. That's his hot guy team. You can vote for that at Bobby Bones.com. Morgan number two has Chris Hemsworth, Tim McGraw, and Ryan Reynolds. It's a really good team. And she's winning the whole thing right now. She's in the lead. I have Luke Brian, Bradley Cooper, and George Strait. It's good. What are you going to say, Eddie? No, the George Strait one. I like this, a solid move.
Starting point is 00:34:24 I love that move doing it in front of Amy. I just think he's a great-looking guy. Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, and David Beckham is Amy's picks. Audies. And Lunchbox has Channing, Tatum, Zach Efron, and George Clooney. So there you go. Everybody feel good? Yeah, feel great.
Starting point is 00:34:40 We'll have it up. Morgan number two writes it as we go, and it'll be loaded a box. Bobby Bones.com in the next 10 minutes or so. Yes. And you can go vote on your team. Bobby Bones.com. We count on your votes. The Bobby Bones Show.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Big three stories. Over to Ramundo with the news here on Thursday morning. Ramundo, what you got? In sports, Washington Nationals, won the World Series, so congrats to them. In California, they continue to battle the wildfires. Officials are warning that fires are blocking roads at times. So if you're told to evacuate, always do it immediately. And finally, police nationwide are going to have extra patrols tonight
Starting point is 00:35:12 to make this a safe Halloween for everyone. Everybody. Tonight's Halloween, lots of trick-or-treating. Lunchbox went, did you go to the store? Yeah, I just went to the grocery store. And he's critiquing people's Halloween candy as they shop. Oh, wow, okay. In looking to compliment people on the good stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:29 And let them know if they have bad stuff because I don't want them to get egged or anything like that. So whatever they had in their basket, they didn't ask my opinion. I just walked up, reached in their basket and start talking about their candy. You just reached people's baskets? Oh. Yeah. Well, I mean, how am I going to see the candy? What candy they got?
Starting point is 00:35:43 What kind of store are you at? A very big store. A grocery store? Yeah, nationwide. Yeah, what's it rhyme with? Yorgut? Farget. Farget.
Starting point is 00:35:55 All right, here's the clip one. Wow. Let's see. Sour Patch. That's okay. Starburst. I mean, just put it back. You're wasting your money.
Starting point is 00:36:04 No one likes the starbursts and skittles. Not true. Powerhouse like Snickers and Reese's. I know. I just, I'm looking. I don't put there was some up here, but there's some back here. I mean, you might as well get dots if you're going to get Starburst. Ugh.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Two things. One, I'm just so surprised you ran in somebody's bag and just reached in. Two, I don't mind Starburst or Skittles. That's a solid second teamer. Yeah, it's just not, when it comes to non-choccalate items, A team. I would give, yeah, I would give, just in general, super chocolate gets the A. But Starbursts and Skittles, that's a B. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:38 You can't believe we're being such a hater on Starbursts and Skittles. Starbursts are just not good to me. Reese, is this what you wanted? No, that's what the kids want. 100 grand. Ow, rees is so much. Are you sure you don't want to trade? They're going to get tons of Reese's.
Starting point is 00:36:52 They're not going to get too many 100 grand or baby Reese. All right. I'll be the balance out of the... All right. Hopefully they don't get them out of your house. What do people think when you just walked into their bag? They look at me a little strange and as you can hear, they kind of try to walk away. Like, if you can hear them, they're kind of walking down the aisle away from me.
Starting point is 00:37:11 and I'm trying to keep up with them, but they're not really excited to see me. Gob stoppers? Ooh, that's like a waste of space. That's not for me, it is. Oh, yeah. All the kids like it. Oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:21 You know Reese's? No, I haven't any Reese's here. You've got a variety, so I think your house is going to be okay. I think we'll be okay. Yeah, kids may high five you. She is walking away. You can hear her on that point. Lunchbox is, by the way, at a store that rhymes with Fargett.
Starting point is 00:37:37 Why are we not saying it? I don't know. I have the identity of the store. It's funnier to say what's it rhyme with. And so, and then he goes to people that's shopping and just starts rating the candy they're about to buy. Good pick, Reese's. Kids are going to like that. I mean, they're going to like that.
Starting point is 00:37:51 You don't want you to get your house egged, you know what I mean? You give them like suckers, that'll get your house egged. Oh, here's a Tutsy Roll. I don't want that crap, you know what I'm saying? A Tutsuels a C candy, I would say, though. I would agree with that. Yeah. Yeah, not so good.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Like how we go, A is the Snickers, the Kit Katz. Twix. Twicks. It's up in the A category. Where does Butterfinger? I don't eat peanut butter, really, so for me, not good. I used to love Butterfinger, and now that I've gotten older, I'm like, it's not as good as it used to be. It's up there.
Starting point is 00:38:21 As I'm telling you, I have Butterfinger from last Halloween, still in my pantry. What? The B level to me would be Starburst, Skittles, maybe in that bottom of bees, the Twizzlers. Oh, those are terrible. C would be Tutsi rolls. Suckers. I don't mind a good... Like a dum-dum?
Starting point is 00:38:44 No, that's a D. The suckers... You're talking like Tutsi Pop. Tutsi Pops are C suckers. What about blow pops? C, that's in the C category. And then you get down into the you don't pass. Dots.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Biddle honey. Biddle honey's amazing. Candy corn's a D. I give candy corn a D because I don't know. Bidohoney's an F. Did you find that most people were buying candy that you agreed with or no? Yeah. I mean, if you looked, Reese's was a very popular item and then just ran
Starting point is 00:39:10 random people that like the starbursts. No one was getting like Rolos or anything like that. Rolos as a A. Roelos is a A. Yeah. Rolos were being passed over like, oh, they were in twigs. There was not a lot of twigs. You don't like Rolos?
Starting point is 00:39:27 I don't like Rolos. What's on the inside of those? Caramel. Yeah, no. How do you say it? Carmel? Caramel. There are two options.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Caramel or caramel. No one goes caramel. Well, there's a C option now. All right, there you go. Halloween everybody tonight. Halloween night, Amy would be out trick-or-treating. Yeah. Lunchbox, you're taking the baby trick-or-treating?
Starting point is 00:39:46 No, he's not going to go trick-or-treating because he can't say trick-or-treat and that's my rule. So I'll go trick-or-treating alone. What's the rule on that? He can say it. If you can say trick-or-treat, you get candy. Starting point is 00:43:35 It's a Bobby Bones show So last week We were all told to watch a movie We all recommended one movie Put them all in a hat We all drew them out I drew Sweet Home Alabama I gave it 2.5 out of five Alabama's
Starting point is 00:43:48 Morgan number two drew my movie Which was Man on the Moon And you gave it 3.5 out of five Jim Carries Okay True Story of Andy Kaufman Amy drew And you received a movie called
Starting point is 00:44:01 Life is Beautiful In what language? Italian submitted by Eddie. Yes. And you did not want to watch it. I did not. I mean, I was so frustrated that I had to watch a movie in subtitles.
Starting point is 00:44:14 And it just was set in like the 1930s. I had no idea what it was about at all. By the way, 80% positive on Rotten Tomatoes. The highest rated movie. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I was getting mixed reviews from people. Oh, that's amazing.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Oh, that's horrible. Then I get some notes. It's so sad. And I'm like, what? It does not seem sad. bad yet. So come to find out, yeah, it is about a very sensitive subject. The Holocaust. Didn't see that one coming. Yeah, yeah. Because the guy, the main guy in there is like so life is beautiful all the time, kind of goofy guy, making jokes. But it actually really was
Starting point is 00:44:54 precious how he handled it. So him and his wife and his son, they all ended up in concentration camps, but she was in a different one than him and the son. And how he got his son, he got his son, through that. It was actually precious. I think I have a clip of him talking or the German soldiers coming in and they ask if anybody can translate and he's like, I can't, but really he can't. Is it an Italian?
Starting point is 00:45:17 It's an Italian, but he's translating it so his son can hear and he switches all, like, the Germans are like, I don't even know what they're saying because they don't get me subtitles for that, but they said probably like, you're here to be our... Are you guessing what people are saying in other languages? Yes, because they didn't say, but I assume
Starting point is 00:45:33 they said awful things. He's saying something not. He didn't want to translate it because he didn't want his son to be scared so he would say you know, if you don't listen to us, you're not going to get a lollipop. Come in, Chagogo, you're just from
Starting point is 00:45:46 a single reason in this laya transported I don't know what's being said there I could have did it without the clip. Two languages we don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:52 No, we needed clips. Yeah. Okay. So I will say I don't know if people want to watch it so I won't give away the ending. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Let's get that drum roll Raymondo. Let's see how Amy did not want to watch this movie. to hear a clip of the little boy? Not if it's in another language. Of course it's in another language. I had to watch an entire movie in another language.
Starting point is 00:46:10 And you got to read the words. You got to read the words. Why can translate this? Hit the clip of the little boy. Oh my gosh. He's saying we won. Okay. But I'm still not giving away.
Starting point is 00:46:25 What happened. Just be prepared to actually like it. Like you're going to go into it. Like, I do not want to watch this. But it actually is really a good movie. And I give it three. and a half. No, don't let him influence you.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Okay, I give it three. I'm trying to decide what it should be because it's like such a depressing topic. Three Italians out of five. Okay, three Italians out of five. Oh, man. But it's good.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Eddie, I was prepared to give it no stars. I was preferring to give it 0.5, half of one star. I feel like Amy went in pretty like with a negative attitude. too towards it. That's why you should be happy that it got three. You should be happy.
Starting point is 00:47:13 She should be lucky for what you got. If it was already translated for me and I didn't have to watch all the words, then I might. I'm giving it a four. Because it really is a great story. Life is beautiful from Amy. She gives it three Italians.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Because it's an Italian. Tomorrow, Eddie will review Dirty dancing. Yes. And Lunchbox will review The Beach. And Ramundo will review White Chips.
Starting point is 00:47:38 All right, all of that. Quick reviews tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30 second skinny. Congratulations to Kane Brown and his wife, Caitlin. They welcomed their daughter, Kingsley Rose Brown. Luke Combs announced that he's not only dropping a new album soon,
Starting point is 00:47:58 he has teamed up with Crocs for a new line of shoes, and it's going to be out on November 14th. Brothers Osborne are really into dressing up as zombies for Halloween. Literally, you can dress up like a zombie and drag your foot behind you all day and make weird noises and everyone finds that completely acceptable. One year I dressed up as a redneck, a 90s redneck zombie with a mullet wig and an Alan Jackson denim coat. And I never once broke character. And that's part of the thing. You can actually not break character and get away with it.
Starting point is 00:48:30 And everywhere I went, even when I ordered a drink, I ordered it like a zombie that was falling apart. It was so fun. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. There was a nurse out in California. She had the day off. She's like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:48:50 I'm going to go for a hike. So she goes. And two days later, she's not back. Doesn't show her for work. So they send out a search party. Can't find her anywhere. Five days later, they're going over in a helicopter. And they see SOS spelled out in rocks in a canyon.
Starting point is 00:49:06 And that's how they find her alive. Wow. Crazy, huh? I saw that. story. I don't think I would be as present enough to spell at SOS. And how big do you have to make that SOS for them to see it? Big. I'll probably try to write like, I'm hungry, and then it would just be like a big I and half an M and be, no one wouldn't know what that is.
Starting point is 00:49:24 Because SOS, I don't know that I would be, big thing to write that. What does SOS stand for? Oh. I don't think. You landed outside? I don't know. I don't think it stands for anything. You sure? No.
Starting point is 00:49:34 But it is smart to think of like just three letters that mean help, you know, instead of having to write help. SOS. Let's Google it here. Or I'm hungry. Live Googling. There's a band called SOS. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 00:49:47 The SOS meeting is an international code of extreme distress used especially by ships at sea. Save our ship. Oh, save our ship. There you go. Wow, that's cool. It's a boat thing, too.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Didn't know that. I didn't know that either. There you go. We learned something here too as well. That's what's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobid Bow. show.
Starting point is 00:50:12 This story comes up to us from Shelbyville, Kentucky. A woman went through the drive-thru at KFC, got some food, and she looks in her bag, and there's no fork. And instead of being, you know, rational and saying, hey, can I get a fork? She pulls out a gun and fires two shots into the drive-thru window because she was mad when she didn't get a fork. What did you go to jail for for that? Like, I mean, you can't shoot a gun into somewhere.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Like, that's not even funny. Someone's shooting a gun into a window? No, I'm like, oh, she needs to get control of her anger. But again, it's not like a crowbar, it's a gun. You look, that's got to be like attempted murder. I don't know about it. I don't know about murder. But think about it.
Starting point is 00:50:49 The bullet could ricochet and kill somebody. But she's not trying to turn to murder. Listen, I don't know. My whole point is, I don't know. What was the charge? Reckless endangerment, firing or shooting a gun off in a prohibited area. A couple other charges. I would bet she probably shouldn't even have that gun.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Right. Betting on something. All right, there you go. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Transmitting. On Mondays, we play a game called Amy versus Lunchbox, where Amy answers dude questions and lunchbox answers lady questions. But now we're going to switch it up. There's a new wrinkle. This is called Elder versus Millennial, where Eddie, our oldest member of the show, our video editor, is the Elder.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Oh, my gosh. This is ridiculous. And you'll be answering young questions. Morgan number two, you're 26. You're the millennial. and you'll be answering older questions. Okay. Let's play Elder versus Millennial.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Eddie, you're up. Woo! Let's go. Eddie. Remember, these are all questions that millennials would know. Someone like Morgan number two's age. Right.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Which you're 14 years older than her? That's the math, yeah. Okay. The first question, Cole Spouse is the star of what CW show? Cole Spouse. Multiple choice? No.
Starting point is 00:52:11 Is the star of what CW show. All right, I got it. Go ahead. Vampire Diaries. Vampire Diaries. Incorrect. Morgan number two, you can steal. That'd be Riverdale.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Riverdale is. Oh, my gosh. Never heard of it. I know. A lot of elders. Eddie. Come on. Miranda Cosgrove.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Jamie Lynn Spears and Amanda Bines were all stars on what network? Oh, that would be the Disney Channel. Morgan number two? I think it's Nickelodeon. Oh, it's 50-50. Plus. Hey, Elder, you're not doing so good. I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:52:52 This is tough. A crazed or obsessed fan of a celebrity is often referred to as what word. A crazed or obsessed fan of a celebrity is often referred to as what word. I got it. Go ahead. That's a germ. No. A germ.
Starting point is 00:53:13 It's incorrect. Morgan number two. you steal all the elder Yeah, all the millennial questions that you should know. Yeah, I think for a single one it would be a stand. Correct. If you stand something, that means you're, yeah. From the M&M song.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Yeah, that's where that comes from. I'm hip with the M&M. Well, Stan, the song did come out when you were probably college. I've heard it. But that term is now I'm obsessed with something. Like if you stand something. Like you're a massive fan. She took all of them.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Yeah, I'm going to get all these. Okay, well, she has to. All right, here we go. Let's do Morgan number two. All right. These are all elder questions. Okay, Morgan number two? Yep.
Starting point is 00:53:53 What NBC sitcom was about a sarcastic, friendly, extraterrestrial who crash lands in the garage of a suburban family? I'll read it to you again. What NBC sitcom about a sarcastic, friendly, extraterrestrial who crash lands in the garage of a suburban family? who crash lands in the garage of a suburban family. I thought it was a movie, but is it E.T. Incorrect. Now, Eddie, you can steal. Not so easy, huh, millennial?
Starting point is 00:54:26 That's Alf. That's Alf, that stands for alien life form. Woo! Uh-huh. How, look at that. They're tough, huh? Yeah, I've never heard of that. She was laughing earlier.
Starting point is 00:54:38 All right. Morgan number two, millennial. These are all questions that the elder would know. Okay. Garbage pale kids are what? Garbage pale kids are what? Like they're a thing or a human? What?
Starting point is 00:54:56 Is it a TV show? Garbage pale kids. What's that? A movie. Eddie, do you remember garbage pale kids? Of course I do. They were trading cards. That's right.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Oh, yes. Yeah. Okay. Oh, man. This is great. Yeah, you guys stink. All right, Morgan number two, age 26. You won't know this unless you picked it up from somebody older than you.
Starting point is 00:55:25 What 80s computer game was designed to teach students about the realities of the 19th century pioneer life. What 80s computer game was designed to teach students about the reality of the 19th century pioneer life. I can see it. I know what it looks like. I don't know the name of it. Pilgrim, the village. I don't know. I need an answer?
Starting point is 00:55:55 The village. The village. Eddie, do you know the answer? I do. Many of times I broke a spoke or got bit by a snake and didn't make it through the Oregon Trail. Ah, yes. Okay, I'm going to give you guys one tiebreaker each. We're playing elder versus millennial.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Perfect. Eddie, I'm coming back over to you. Come on. These are questions that millennials would know. What Disney franchise did Zach Ephron get his start in? Zach and Cody. No. Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:56:32 High school musical. There you go. So dumb. All right, Morgan number two, are you ready? Yeah. If you get this, you guys tie. No, she win. Oh, you win.
Starting point is 00:56:42 No, that's what it is. Okay. Morgan number two, finish this sentence. Okay. Be kind, please, blank. Be kind. please. She's stunned right now.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Be kind, please, blank. Amy, do you know it? I don't. I'm like, I'm Googling it right now. Mr. Smithers. What? What on earth? Be kind, please, Mr. Smithers.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Eddie, two tie, and we'll call it today. Be kind, please. Rewind. Oh, yeah. No chance she ever saw all those stickers. Does she know what it's from? Is it like the VHS thing? Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:57:32 I can do one more quickly. Eddie. Go, come on. The saying, bye, Felicia, is from what movie? Oh, it's from a movie? Yeah. I don't know. Oh, bye Felicia.
Starting point is 00:57:46 That's from white girls. White chicks. White girls. White girls. Morgan number two. I don't think I know. I know the line. I don't think I know what movie it's from.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Oh, any guess? E. No. Clueless. Okay. I can win here, right? Friday is the movie. Eddie, you can win if you get this.
Starting point is 00:58:05 All, come on. Wait, but it's me. No, no, she gets one and I can steal it because there's no way she's going to get it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:13 Okay, the Breakfast Club, 16 candles, and Weird Science are all movies by what filmmaker, Morgan, number two. What filmmaker made all these movies? The Breakfast Club, 16 candles and Weird Science. I'm trying to get a winner here so, so bad. Scorsesee. I have a lot.
Starting point is 00:58:34 No clue. Steven Spielberg. No. Who is it? John Hughes. Oh, yeah. There is no winner in Elder versus Millennial. It's a terrible thing.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Nobody knows anything. That's a fun game, actually. I like it. That's fun. We may put that into, you know how they did that 70s show and they did that 80s show? Or they did Big Bang Derry and then Young Sheldon? This might be our spinoff. Our Young Sheldon.

Starting point is 01:02:40 So I was wearing a penguin outfit. The lift pulls up and I go to get in and the guy says, oh, sorry, you're going to have to take your costume off or I can't give you a ride because I don't feel comfortable with people in costume being in my car. It's a safety thing. And I just looked down and I said, are you safe? serious? I'm in a penguin outfit and it's almost Halloween.
Starting point is 01:03:04 How are you going to... And so he said either take it off or I'll have to cancel the ride. I said, first of all, I'm not dangerous. I'm a penguin. And second of all, I was like, do I really want to ride with a guy that can't enjoy someone in a penguin costume? So I said, well, go ahead and cancel the ride.
Starting point is 01:03:19 So he didn't give me a ride. Amy, your thoughts? I mean, it's his car, so I guess he can decide, but I do feel like a penguin is pretty non-threatening. Well, I don't think we can judge it based on what the costume is, because that means if somebody gets in and they're a murderer. Yeah, he can be a murderer deep inside. That, that costume is scarier if I'm not. I mean, the guy didn't want to put someone in a
Starting point is 01:03:40 costume, probably because he didn't know what he had underneath. Any weapons or guns or... Me personally, if I was a Lyft or Uber driver and I pulled up and there was a penguin, I'd be like, heck yeah, I get in. This was awesome. But I guess, who knows? How long have you had that costume? Probably about 13 years. I mean, it is the best $35 I've ever spent on a costume. in my life because it is so easy. You just slip it on over your head and it's washable. You can spill things on it. And people have used it.
Starting point is 01:04:06 I've used it for so many things. Lend it to friends and it still looks brand new. Am I the only one that's surprised by the fact that he's actually washed it? Yeah, a little bit. Oh, trust me. No, there's been, there was a lot of Yeager and tequila on it from years past. And so you got to clean it up. Yeah, I got to clean it up.
Starting point is 01:04:21 But yeah, if you're going to be driving Lyft or Uber around Halloween time, you got to expect people to have costumes on or just take the night off. Once an Uber, driver made us put our backpacks in the trunk, it is a safety thing. They just don't want you to have like something that they can't see. Yeah. I could get it. I mean, if you were in a skin-type batwoman costume, I bet that wouldn't be an issue. But because it was a big old penguin costume. Yeah, I bet if I was sexy Cinderella, he'd have been like, come on in. You know what I mean? A sexy penguin. Yeah, yeah. I'll have the middle of it out next time. This is where you're
Starting point is 01:04:50 underwear. That'll let you in. What's everybody doing tonight? Amy? We have friends in town. and they've got two kids that are like our kids like best friends are like little cousins so we're going to be trick-or-treating and hanging out with them they're going to be here the whole rest of the weekends that's going to be fun. You, your husband? Yeah, husband. And then Kevin and Michelle our friend, Dr. Lewis, who we talk about sometimes
Starting point is 01:05:11 and him and his wife, they have they've got SWAT team costumes. So Stevenson has SWAT team and now my husband and I are apparently police officers. We're not part of the SWAT team. You guys are like a tactic force out there. Right. A lot of cops. Yeah. What about everybody else? Eddie, what's going on?
Starting point is 01:05:25 So I do tradition. I buy dry ice and then I make the witch's brew and it smokes and I put it right in front of our door. I make brain jello like out of jello and it's a whole thing. And then we go trick-or-treating and we eat all the candies. We tell scary ghost stories at the end of the night and it's over. Do you put the candy out front of the house? When we go out trick-or-treating, we leave the bucket out. And then we use the little note that says, please take one. And do they listen?
Starting point is 01:05:51 And then when we get back, it's all gone. It's dumped over. That's like raccoons. just got a hold of it. Lunchbox, what are you doing tonight? I'll be going trick-treating by myself. I go every year, so I'll put the penguin costume on, and I'll be going out and getting candy as an adult.
Starting point is 01:06:04 No baby? No baby, because he can't talk, so no point in taking him to the door. If he can't say trick-or-treat, he doesn't get any candy, and he can't eat the candy, so I'll go get my own. Morgan number two, what are you doing for Halloween? Hopefully getting my first trick-or-treaters at my house and handing out candy to him as in like some onesie. I didn't.
Starting point is 01:06:21 What kind of onesie? I don't know. I'm going to get it from Target. I didn't think about. trick-or-treaters. Yes, you need to get candy. Yeah. Wait, do you ever do that?
Starting point is 01:06:31 Do you turn your light off? No, no, no, I've been gone every year. One of all I lived in this house one time. I'm usually on the road doing something on Halloween. I have dinner with a friend, but we're having dinner like 6.30. And then after that, I guess I should get candy. Yeah. But since it's a week night, then I get triggered to be that late, right?
Starting point is 01:06:48 They won't, no. I guess if you're not home at 6. Turn your porch light off, so they'll know. I don't even think about it being Halloween tonight when I made dinner plans. You better, don't forget to turn your light off because they're going to walk all the way up your driveway and get to your front door and knock on it and ring your doorbell and you are not going to come.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Oh, that's awful and that's a long driveway. Right. Or you can just leave the bucket like me with a little sign that says, please take one. Because in my neighborhood, they'll just take one. No. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So health experts warn to wear earplugs at concerts.
Starting point is 01:07:20 Like, even if you're adults, because the noise can be so loud. And we recently went to see Thomas Rett. my kids were like, my ears, my ears. And I wasn't really thinking about it because they're 12 and 9. Like, there's tons of other kids. But they just were not used to that. So we had to go to the customer service desk and they had little earplugs for the kids.
Starting point is 01:07:37 But apparently we should be wearing them too. Why go to somewhere where you listen to something if you have to cover your ears? I get don't be up close to speakers. I know. It says once the band starts playing, put your ear plugs in. That's like going to a movie and going, guys, you should cover your eyes when you go to the movie. Right. No, I came to see the movie.
Starting point is 01:07:56 if it's hurting your ears, listen, obviously they know more than me, but I just wouldn't think as an adult that I would need to cover my ears. That being said, I've had headphones on my whole life. I'm probably deaf anyway from this job. So what else, Amy? Okay, so Amazon will now deliver your grocery order for free
Starting point is 01:08:13 and within an hour if you've got Amazon Prime. They're rolling this out, and oh my gosh, can you imagine? That's pretty crazy. It was previously an additional $14.99 for this service on top of the cost of your Prime membership, but now they're saying they're going to do it. do it for free. So if you have Amazon Prime and you order groceries, they'll have it to you within an hour.
Starting point is 01:08:31 Yes. It'll come from Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market. If you got your plan, your Amazon Prime, I mean. That pays for the Prime itself. Exactly. Because now that this delivery fee service has been eliminated, it's crazy. Like as a busy parent, I can just see this thing. I don't know how Amazon does it.
Starting point is 01:08:52 I don't either. They do it all. They're taking over the world. They have it all the world. And if you have Amazon Prime, you can watch Modern Love. The show that's so good. Yeah, my favorite two shows right now, Modern Love and the upcoming season of Running Wild of Bear Girls.
Starting point is 01:09:05 Yeah. That's right. All right, what else, Amy? So somehow Facebook and Instagram are using their special ways to know if you're using the eggplant or the peach emojis in an inappropriate way. And they're going to ban it. Your content will be banned. Okay. Because butt and eggplant.
Starting point is 01:09:23 Oh, I get that now. I was wondering, I was like, why, but I mean, I get that you use the peach for the booty, but sometimes I'm like, did a bunch of squats today, peach. Right, and as long as you don't put the eggplant, like, put a bunch of squats today, peach, looking for nutrition. This makes so much more sense to me now. At first I was like, okay, I mean, what if you literally are having eggplant for dinner? Then you put the eggplant by yourself.
Starting point is 01:09:46 The trouble is if you literally have an eggplant peach salad and you're putting the emojis next to each other. Because that is when it's like legit you could use it. it, but they're going to be filtering through, and you could get flagged. In some cases, you get kicked off the site, so really be careful. I mean, even if you're just joking around, can't anymore. It's weird that they're going to cut down on that, but you can still write any vulgar language you want. You could still write out those words next to each other in a very vulgar way, and they don't take it down, but they're going to take down the peach and the eggplant emoji.
Starting point is 01:10:17 Weird. Next to each other? Yeah, all right. Yeah, so just heads up. Friendly reminder. What is he? Pull up your phone. What is your most?
Starting point is 01:10:24 Oh, I already know. Top three used emojis. Go. Okay, okay. I have the laughing with the tears coming out. My number one. My number two is the teeth, awkward,
Starting point is 01:10:36 where teeth like, and then my number three is the 100%. Like giving it 100. What are your top three? Right now, my number one is praise hands emojis. And my number two, you like that one? Raise the roof.
Starting point is 01:10:50 Is it praise hands or raise the roof? I don't know, but I just use it for like, that's what I'm, I never use that one. It's not even in my top 30. Oh, that is my number one for everything. I can use it just so fitting for all kinds of things.
Starting point is 01:11:02 So that, and then right now my number two is Christmas tree because we're getting close to Christmas. Not in my top 30. Oh, and then the Red Heart. Okay. Red Heart comes up for me at number 15. Oh, wow. It's way down there. Dang.
Starting point is 01:11:15 I do have music notes, the American flag, and the eyeballs. Oh, like I see that. I see you. Look here. I got that. Those are my top ones. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. All right, there you go. Is that it?
Starting point is 01:11:25 Yeah, I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So there's this bartender Taylor and she has this regular customer who gave her a powerball ticket as a tip one day. Okay. And guess what? It won $50,000. Mm.
Starting point is 01:11:49 Quite the tip. I mean, and obviously, as a tip, you never really know what's going to transpire from a powerball ticket. Because the ticket hadn't won yet. Correct. It was a, I just bought this. Yeah. The numbers haven't been drawn yet. Have that at it.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Yeah. If you find out that ticket wins, do you probably go back? And even if you don't ask, just sit at the table and be like, how's it going? I'm going to break me off a little. Yeah. Hey, remember that. Wow, that's crazy. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:12:14 So what are they saying? Who? The. Anyone. Well, they're saying where this went down, St. Charles County. That is apparently the place to try to win because players. across that county have won almost $50 million from the lottery
Starting point is 01:12:29 of Missouri. So if you're looking to get a power ball and you're there, get it in that county. Have they heard from the tipper in that story? No. No. She said she identified him as an unnamed man who occasionally purchases lottery tickets. Crazy. But he is a regular, but he's not outed in this story.
Starting point is 01:12:47 If he comes back and he doesn't know, do you tell him? Like, hey, I want $50,000. Yes, of course. And you give him a little sum. Oh, wow. And if he's as nice as he's seen, he's like, no, no, that's yours. Well, you play this like three scenarios deep here. All right, there you go. All right, that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 01:13:03 That was Tell Me Something Good. Over to Amy now. Let's get that investigative corny on. What happens here is this is the one day a week where she reads us a joke, we have to figure it out. We have 90 seconds to figure out the investigative corny. Team, you ready? Ready. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 01:13:21 The morning corny. What do you give a vampire? when he's sick. All right. Last day of Halloween. What do you give a vampire when he's sick? Medicine.
Starting point is 01:13:30 Tylenol. Al. Aspirin. Blood. A neck. Nectarine. A nectarine. Did that be it?
Starting point is 01:13:40 No. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oh, you idiot. Blood soup. Blood soup.
Starting point is 01:13:47 What do you give a vampire? Blood soup. Saltines. Let's chase that. How about? Adville blood. What advill. Peptobismal
Starting point is 01:13:58 Tylenol Just Tylenol with an accent A vampire accent Peptobismo What's a vampire sucks your blood Yes, does anything with suck How about vein? Get my vein Sick
Starting point is 01:14:14 Pute, cough Oh but it's a medicine What you have a vampire It's a cough medicine Chicken noodle soup, blood soup Blood soup Rubbatussin Cough
Starting point is 01:14:24 Blood a Tussin Vick Blood Vicks What do you give a vampire when he's sick? I feel like it has to do with like a brand of medicine, right? Or a kind of medicine? A vampire's sick, he's like... Cold? Cold-blooded?
Starting point is 01:14:37 I have 15 seconds, boys. Oh, we got nothing. And Amy keeps coughing over there. But I've been coughing for days. I think he's done with cough. He's coughing over there. Oh, coffin! Coffin medicine.
Starting point is 01:14:50 Coffin medicine. Oh! Okay. That's no one she's doing that. Is he with coughing on purpose? Oh, that's it? No! Why didn't I try to help you?
Starting point is 01:14:57 But I saw her coughing, so I think... Oh, was it wrong? No, we're at the time. But that's our pick. All right, we're going to go with coffin. Yes. Okay. Let's see how coffin medicine goes.
Starting point is 01:15:09 Hit that clip. The morning corny. What do you give a vampire when he's sick? What do you give a vampire when he's sick? Coffin drops. But medicine works. You guys got it. Yay!
Starting point is 01:15:23 Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Nice job, nice job. All right. Woo. Do the deal.
Starting point is 01:15:28 All right. Clear heart, wait. Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can't lose. All right, there you go. Can we really get that one? Technicality.
Starting point is 01:15:38 No, you did because, I mean, cough in medicine would still work because it's like cough medicine. Cough drops, but cough in because it's a vampire. Now we get it. Good job. And yeah, I get excited because tomorrow we start Thanksgiving jokes. All right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:15:53 Nikki Minaj, the rapper. Yeah. Her husband, who I didn't know who that was, by the way. I don't even know if he's that famous. But he paid $1.1 million for a wedding ring. And it supposedly bought it himself. Not with her money. Right.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Yeah, because I don't know, I didn't even know she was married. My thing on a $1.1 million anything is that you're basically carrying around a million dollars in cash out in the public. Right. So you have to have security all the time as if you were carrying around a million dollars with you all the time. Not that she doesn't have security, but you're wearing that right on your finger. It's not like you can skip out and head to 7-Eleven real quick. You wouldn't with a million dollars in cash, would you? No.
Starting point is 01:16:31 I just wonder what that looks like up close. I've never seen anything like that up close. Nikki Minaj's husband gave her a $1.1 million wedding band, paid for it himself. His name's Kenneth Perry. He handled the design delivery, paid for it on his own. Ramundo, how's it going with your wedding ring? Talk to sales, and they're still working the deal. And you're waiting for sales to hook you up with the ring.
Starting point is 01:16:55 Not the entire, I mean, they're going to give me a discount. And we've partnered with them. We do radio ads and stuff like that. But by no means is it free. I'm still paying tons and tons of money. It's a ring. It's a ring. It's a ring.
Starting point is 01:17:07 But, I mean, it's going to cost me some money. That's what I'm over figuring out the ends and outs and stuff. Okay. And you think before, like, this is the fall of love? I wanted it to be before this weekend, but I haven't seen the salespeople. They were here earlier the week, but it's been nothing since. So I don't know. I'm looking at this ring, Amy.
Starting point is 01:17:22 It looks like one of those you get from a candy, or from a, put a quarter in. Oh, I see it. I googled it. It's huge. It's got, it's like a big band with tons of diamonds and then a big diamond. One big one that looks like something you would see in a movie.
Starting point is 01:17:35 Yeah. It's crazy. I've never in my life thought about buying an engagement ring to the point of, let me go look at them. So it all blows my mind. Like I've never been close to getting engaged to even know what I would need to spend or the look. like I do endorsements for
Starting point is 01:17:53 stores and so I have a bit of an education for that but I can't imagine going to a store and the amount of money I used to have a ring fund
Starting point is 01:18:04 I used to have I would save up I remember that and was like 23 I was like well I like to be prepared so I'm going to start an engagement ring fund
Starting point is 01:18:12 little did I know here I am 15 years later 16 years later never been engaged and you end up using that on something else yeah
Starting point is 01:18:19 I think I'm, I think you just split it up. Yeah, you diversified it elsewhere. Yeah, no, I don't, no, I don't do that. Yeah, yeah. A dentist in Germany pulled a one and a half inch tooth from a patient's mouth. It's the world record for the longest tooth ever. Think about that tooth. Like, do your fingers, because one and a half inches does it sound long,
Starting point is 01:18:37 but do your fingers one and a half inch? No, that's big. That's so long. That's so long. It looks like a fang. Dr. Max Lucas said he pulled the tooth out of someone's mouth who had been complaining of severe dental pain and then he measured it
Starting point is 01:18:51 and it's one and a half inches. Like it looks like a... Like a... Like a walrus? Well, that's a whole different. A saber-toothed tiger? Like a saber-tooth tiger tooth. Or that.
Starting point is 01:19:05 That's the good one right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I saw that this morning. Here's a World Series clip from last night. The Nationals won the World Series. I believe this is... Is this the last play, Raymondo? Yep.
Starting point is 01:19:15 All right, here we go. Here they are. One strike away. one out away. Three two. Spians. There you go. Your thoughts.
Starting point is 01:19:30 Way to go. There you go. I mean, I'd fall on us. I'd fall on asleep by the end of it. No, it is good for the first time in history. That's cool. Well, yes, the team hasn't been the nationals a long time. They used to be the Montreal Expos.
Starting point is 01:19:44 So did they have one under their belt? This is a while ago. They switched. Oh. But yes, good for the nationals. I like the nationals. I'll pull some clips. So we're going to roll through these.
Starting point is 01:19:53 Here's Tim McGraw on. getting in shape. He talks about with Men's Health Magazine about how often he works out. Okay? Here we go. I try to work out every day. I don't really plan on days off, although I've learned a little bit more moderation as I've gotten older because it takes a little more time to recover. What I hear from my friends who tour with him is that he works out for like four hours a day. It's crazy. Like you don't get those abs just chilling or hopping on a bike for 30 minutes like I'll do
Starting point is 01:20:22 sometimes. Like the guy has ripped. And is 1050? Yeah. Yeah? Here he is on his favorite part of working out. Probably my favorite part of the workout. I start every morning out with either a 30 minute or sometimes an hour walk on a treadmill.
Starting point is 01:20:38 You know, at 52 years old, you got to do the things that you got to do to get your body warmed up and going. So you don't pull anything or hurt anything or injure yourself. And the last thing I want to do is injure myself in a way that I can't perform or I can't continue to work out. The crazy thing is he spent as much time walking getting ready as a lot. I do working out. Right. He's like, this is my warm up. Yeah, I'll go to an hour and be like, I've crushed it today.
Starting point is 01:20:59 And he's like, what I like to do is work out for three hours before the workout? It's crazy. They asked me, if I were 10 McGraw, what's your favorite part? Counting my abs before I go to bed. He's got like eight of them, nine of them. I'll give you one other clip here. I don't watch Real Housewives. Do you know anything about Teresa Goodeis?
Starting point is 01:21:16 Yes. So she was married to Joe, and they both, like, went to jail. It was like way back, like 2014. She served 15 months. So she got out a while ago, and then he had to serve, like, a really long time for bankruptcy and wire fraud, something like that. And we're doing that? Yeah. Okay, here's a clip of Caroline Manzo.
Starting point is 01:21:35 Oh, yeah, she's a real housewife, friend of theirs. Responding to Teresa's claim that she's the rat that landed Joe in prison. Ooh. Did you know about this? I didn't know that. All right, here we go. I have heard over the years that she has slandered me numerous times on her live shows, numerous times to people that just go up to her on the street in the press.
Starting point is 01:21:54 on reunions, this is not the first time she's made this claim. Those are big words. Yeah. Those are very big words. So once in a while you've got to take the bully, pull them up by their shirt, pull them into your face and say, this is the reality. I don't think Caroline would do that.
Starting point is 01:22:15 I mean, if she was mad at Teresa, maybe, but I feel like she's loyal. Like even if she is mad at somebody, she's like not going to turn a man to go to jail for a long time. Okay, there you go. There's your, all the clips from the last 24 hours. I put them on one sheet just to keep everybody up. A lot of people are texting me saying there's no way that Dennis pulled out a tooth that big that it would break.
Starting point is 01:22:37 But Guinness was there. Yeah. So it's got to be real. They must have known by the x-ray that it was going to be the longest because how do you have Guinness on site? Yeah. You call them, guys, get a load of this. ASAP. Starting point is 01:26:34 who is autistic and in a wheelchair, so his dad always makes him an epic Halloween costume. And they just revealed he's going as a fighter jet this year. This costume's awesome. We'll put it up on our Twitter at Bobby Bone Show. Mommy Hardy is autistic and has cerebral palsy, so he uses a wheelchair and he loves Halloween. So his dad, Tom, always makes him an elaborate costume to trick or treat in. And this year, he's going as an SR 71 Blackbird, which is a fighter jet.
Starting point is 01:27:00 The Air Force used them from the 60s through the late 90s. His dad and some buddies spent over 100 hours on it last month. Oh, wow. That's crazy. Yeah, and they used a bunch of random parts in the garage. The whole thing cost about 75 bucks. The costume is special. It's dedicated to Tommy's grandparents who both passed away.
Starting point is 01:27:17 this year. They both served in the Air Force at Vietnam. So their names and ranks are printed on the tail. Oh. And their photos are right next to the control panel in the cockpit. Coolest. Crazy, huh? Yeah. Past costumes have included a police car, a next wing fighter from Star Wars, and one of the dragons from Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 01:27:34 But this is so cool, and you can see it up on our Twitter. Do you want to see the picture of it? Yeah, I do. Does your back hurt? All right. I know that that was a dig at me. Sometimes I get up and I don't feel it as bad, and sometimes I get up and it really hurts. I was just asking it It's true. Look at that picture.
Starting point is 01:27:51 Okay, that's so legit. Man, this makes you feel like a really horrible parent. Stevenson's handcuffs broke last night, and I was like, get over it. You don't need them. He's like, but I'm in the SWAT team. I said, you don't need them. And they're so cheap, they just broke. They were part of his costume.
Starting point is 01:28:08 And I'm like, look, you have a flashlight, you got a baton, you're going to get a gut. I'm like, I don't know, you're good. But now I feel like I should make him some handcuffs. There you go. That's what it's all about. Thank you. That was Tell Me Something Good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Starting point is 01:28:24 Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's know. We're transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right. Well, Amy is looking for a new house. Kind of out of nowhere. Yes.
Starting point is 01:28:41 Tell me about it. Out of nowhere. I just don't even know how this is even happening. I'm still in disbelief. But especially because we just got our garage done, it took two years. Yeah, the garage mahal. Yeah. this crazy garage you guys built,
Starting point is 01:28:54 that your dad was also going to be able to live in before we went to the group home. Now he's an assisted living. Right. So, I mean, it's just the kids' school situation is just not working out like we thought it was going to. And there's a school we've been trying to get them into, but there's tests and they're English. And they haven't been able to pass the test. So there's a different part of town that has really good public schools with good ESL programs, which is English as a second language.
Starting point is 01:29:22 But it's probably 25 minutes from where we currently live. And, yeah, we might be moving. Well, so if you're new to the show, Amy has two adopted children. They've been here almost two years now. Yeah, in December it'll be two years. And their English still isn't good enough to get them into the level at school they need. Right. It's just some English.
Starting point is 01:29:42 And then their education in Haiti was just so not where it needed to be that it's settled back. Like, they're doing well and they're both smart. They're just not at their grade level yet. and it's taking a while for their brain to kind of kick in. But teachers say, once it starts to click, it'll just click and go, but there's just some barriers we have right now. So do you want to say what you're thinking about doing or now? I mean, what you can say?
Starting point is 01:30:06 Oh, that? That's, we can't do that? I can't say that we thought about it? Can I tell you? And can I tell you what my advice was? Yeah, and I knew I wasn't going to do it. Amy comes to me and goes. Say how I asked it.
Starting point is 01:30:18 I don't know how you asked it. I think I said, well, I go to jail. Yeah, she goes, oh, she goes, well, I'd be like Lori Loflin. like Aunt Becky, because her dad lives in a senior center that's in that school district. And she says, can I just claim I live there since we have the residence? Yeah, we pay for it. And I was like, no, you don't, but you don't live there. And she's like, well, I go to Aunt Becky jail.
Starting point is 01:30:39 And I was like, well, you won't go to Aunt Becky jail, but they'll have to make an example out of you like they're doing Aunt Becky. Yeah, because we use the address that, I mean, my kids go over there. People do that all the time. Well, I know they do. Yeah, but you people aren't public figures that if someone finds out they feel like they have to rat or they look like they're hiding. I mean, it's not my kids blend in. Like, Stevenson gets recognized. So sometimes they be like, wait.
Starting point is 01:30:58 And then Stevenson be like, no, no, I live on the east side. And they're like, what? We thought you lived down here. So now you're looking for a new house. Are you actively searching? Yeah, my husband went and looked at one yesterday. And it just, we like our little vibe where we live. Like, we like quaint and old and where it is, where we would be moving to is like,
Starting point is 01:31:18 everything's kind of newish and not as quaint. so we're kind of struggling with that. And you'll be further for me. How do I get to come over to the house anymore if you live in half an hour away? I know. You'll never come. I never come. Because you live down there by Eddie and I don't ever drive down there.
Starting point is 01:31:32 Well, we're not trying to move like way in. Honestly, like I keep waiting for, I keep watching the houses like as they pop up on this map to see if something will pop up. And I'm watching that border line, that line that like borders where we live now, like that school district to that other school district. I'm trying to stay right on that border. I don't want to go too deep. Oh, good luck. But yeah, thank you. Gotta get those kids education and get them around other kids.
Starting point is 01:31:57 I know. Oh, that's huge too. I think also some interaction because right now they're in a one-on-one situation. And I think being around other kids will really, really help. I was trying to think about schools about how they don't allow bobbing for apples anymore at schools. Oh, really? Which I think is the greatest thing. Wait, why?
Starting point is 01:32:13 That's gross. Because of all the disgusting germs in the water. Oh, but I mean, it's fun. Yeah, okay. Okay, so it's licking at doorknops. Well, actually, no, that's not. It's been around, but now it's been banned because when they test the water, it's filled with flu. Like flu, flu-like symptoms.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Health official strongly urged parents' teachers to discontinue the game because of the high amounts of bacteria and viruses that spread when you play it. Okay, but when you say it like that, yeah. Even YMCA's and community centers have banned it because kids are essentially dunking their faces and buckets. They're filled with other people spit, and it's not like it's boiling water where it's killing it. It's all basically multiplying. Yeah. By the way, I went to the bathroom a minute ago. during the break, it annoys the
Starting point is 01:32:52 bejesus out of me that there is no hot water in the sink. I'm scrubbing my hands. Where did the hot water go? We used to have hot water? We don't have prizes to give away. Now we don't have hot water? What's happening? What's the next? Winter come? We're going to put a log in here and burn it for heat?
Starting point is 01:33:09 We don't have any hot water. It drives me bananas. Oh. Has it ever been hot? Yeah. Yeah, I have. We've had hot water. Yeah. So I stopped. I retired from bobbing for apples. I went professional for a couple years. Good for you. Then I dropped out.
Starting point is 01:33:24 And now we don't have hot water here. I can't believe it. How do you expect us to not be sick if we don't have the tools to keep us from being sick? Well, there's soap, right? No, but the soap dispensers came from me complaining about it on the show and listeners came and set up soap dispensers. Oh, that's right. I remember that. Our listeners take care of us. You have to wash your hands with hot water, right? Warm water. Warm water is often better than soap is.
Starting point is 01:33:50 hot water. Both are effective in their own way, but yeah, but we need it. I'm getting some text here. It says people have gone to jail for faking their address. Well, I wouldn't be faking it. My dad lives there and we contribute to the bill. But you don't live there. It's not your residence. People have gone to prison for using the wrong address for school. Yeah. Someone says use Eddie's address. That's illegal. Amy, do not fake your address. Do you not remember what happened on Friday Night Lights when they tried to fake the address for the kid that lived outside the school district. Well, that was just a mailbox on a piece of land. Right. Nobody went to jail for that.
Starting point is 01:34:22 Yeah, you just get kicked off the team. I mean, and this isn't for sports. This is for education. But again, it's... This is for English. Other kids would also like to be there that aren't there. I agree. I'm not going to do it. I just thought, desperate times call for desperate thoughts, but I didn't act on it.
Starting point is 01:34:40 I don't want to do it wrong and I don't want to go to jail. A woman thought her ex was dead until she bumped into him a few years later, working at a restaurant, which has got to be like, you have to look at him and go, that looks a lot like Chris. I know. It just feel weird. Like, oh, man, that's, that stinks. And now, wow, it looks a lot like, oh, my God, that is Chris.
Starting point is 01:35:02 Or are you Chris? That's just the whole thing's weird, right? Yeah. He faked his death to get out of some debts to her and his friends. I mean, I guess it was worth sacrificing his life to get out of the debt. I mean, talk about an unexpected encounter with the next, because sometimes you'll bump into somebody that used to date. It's like kind of awkward. Imagine you're dead ex.
Starting point is 01:35:21 Man. She bumped into him at a local restaurant, which, by the way, if you'd fake a death, shouldn't you get out of the local scene? Totally move. Yeah. That's another country. Maybe you shouldn't be at the neighborhood Chili's. When she found out her ex-boyfriend had been murdered by a biker gang.
Starting point is 01:35:37 What? According to his own mother, she didn't ask many questions. I'm going to tell you, I'd have like 100 questions. Got murdered by a biker gang? She said it sounds stupid in retrospect, but you don't have any. reason to question it. Two years later, she was sitting at a restaurant with a friend when she remembered that his brother worked there and asked for a waiter to tell him to stop by their table. I went, yeah, I haven't seen him in ages. I'd like to say hi. The restaurant employee said he's not in that day, but his brother was working. And she was like, wait, huh? His brother. I thought
Starting point is 01:36:07 there was another brother involved here. And then she went into shock. It turns out, listen, He owed everybody a collective $2,200. So he owed his friends? Her and some friends. Okay, I thought I didn't know if he owed like the law. You can just ghost your friends without having to act like you're dead. Yeah. You don't need to do that.
Starting point is 01:36:27 You don't need to, yeah. But a biker gang and the mom, get the mom involved too? So complicated. That's a lot. Earlier, speaking of complicated, we were talking about Amy. She's going to have to move probably because she has two kids. Two years ago they were adopted from Haiti. English still isn't good enough to get them into the appropriate grade level for their age.
Starting point is 01:36:48 And so you did not get into the school that you tried that had an English and second language program. Yeah. And it's a school where like there's other Haitians there and Eddie's kids go there. Like it's a really great school. And we haven't passed the test like three times. So it's like I think it's time for us to just move on. And so she's trying to get to a good public school now where they have a similar program, but she doesn't live in that district. And she's like, can I just fake I live somewhere else?
Starting point is 01:37:13 And you can't, obviously. Right, obviously. Nicole and Virginia did that, though. She claimed a fake address. Hey, Nicole, are you there? Hi, yes. Good morning, Jim. Morning.
Starting point is 01:37:25 Morning. Would you tell Amy what happened? Yeah, so actually, I was in junior in high school, and then they redistricted us in the middle of the year. And so what my mom did, because I slept over at my friend's house a lot, we said, okay, we'll go ahead and claim suicide. that worked for about a week and then supposedly the public school system sent out an investigator and they had a van parked outside of our house where we couldn't see them and they would follow
Starting point is 01:37:52 my mom and she would drop us off every morning at my friend's bus stop. Oh, and then y'all got best. Did your mom go to jail? She's calling for prison right now. She did? No. Oh. But we did not go to jail, but they called me and my sister down to the principal's office,
Starting point is 01:38:09 handed us a letter and basically said, you are not allowed to return to the school premises on Monday, on another school. It was a really terrible situation, but it ended up for the best. Oh, could you imagine poor little Stevenson's D'Shea if they get called to the office and told they're not welcome back? Are they going to think America?
Starting point is 01:38:28 I don't know. Oh, God. They don't know. I can't do that to them. I know, I know. Trust me. We're going to do the right thing, but that's why we're going to be moving,
Starting point is 01:38:37 probably suddenly, and it's so weird. Like, I can't even believe, I can't even imagine maybe moving before the end of the year. What? That's crazy that you're moving. Well, I mean, I don't know. I mean, because we'd have to sell our house. There's so many factors. And who knows?
Starting point is 01:38:49 I got somebody for you. Yeah. I know. I've heard. Yeah. I got you hooked up. I know. I'm serious.
Starting point is 01:38:56 Yeah, I got you hooked up. Hope everybody has a safe Halloween tonight. And, you know, just almost wear reflectors or something. You get by a car. It's not poison in your apples or needs. and the candy or razor blades. It's just getting hit by a car. Like, don't get hit by a car.
Starting point is 01:39:14 Yeah. And if yeah, that's really the thing. Yeah, and drivers slow down. That, that too. Yep. And so I know you're taking the kids out. You'll have four kids, though, huh? Yeah, but luckily four adults so we can wrangle them in.
Starting point is 01:39:27 Yeah, so that's the plan. That's the plan. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Eddie? Well, I mean, I'm tempted to cancel it. Wait, what? If the weather's going to be really cold,
Starting point is 01:39:39 and rainy. Like, I might just tell the kids, like, hey. Even from this morning we talked about it, now you're thinking about canceling. And just like that little time. And like three hours time. Yes, I'm like, man, I'm thinking about it. Like, it's, I mean, it could be below freezing.
Starting point is 01:39:52 I might tell the kids, let's do it Saturday. What do you all think? Wait, but nobody's going to be handing out candy on Saturday. Well, could you knock on doors and just say, no. No. Okay. But I would just say this.
Starting point is 01:40:03 If the weather had been cold leading up to it, you would still go out. It's just a sudden change. It's making you not want to go out. Because where we are, it's going to be cold. Correct. Bobby can't hand, Bobby, you can't hand out candy at 8 o'clock at night. Well, I will. I'm going to get candy right after the show, and I'm going to get ball or candy. Are you getting full size or fun size? I'm going to get full size and wrap it in tins.
Starting point is 01:40:22 $10 bills on every candy bar. I'm going to come trick or trick-or-treating there. They're getting. It'd be like, that'd be pretty baller to put $1 bills around candy? Yeah. Do it. Dang. What else did I spend money on? Exactly. You should do it.
Starting point is 01:40:34 You're going to make some kids days. My dog has surgery next week, which is going to be expensive. If he has surgery on the 6th at 7.30 a.m. Stanley's surgery. He's going to be hurt for a few days, too. Or guy. His wiener is nose. What is happening with his? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:40:50 His wiener like pokes out sometimes. I thought that that was normal. No, it's like a problem. Okay. I saw you right that it was a problem, but I didn't know. This dog, he, I talked about it. It's so frustrating. I was done to know I was prepared for a bulldog.
Starting point is 01:41:04 But he's cute. That's the thing. So cute. So anyway, that's the deal. Starting point is 01:44:38 University. That's AMU. dot APUS. dot edu slash military. Apparently Lindsay Lohan spent $14,000 on vodka, Twizzlers, and adult movies at the hotel. Oh. Wow. It's a lot of money to spend on those things.
Starting point is 01:44:57 Yeah, what in the world? Like, it says, like an ordinary human. This comes from the Daily Mail. Lindsay Lohan raided the mini bar and fridge, and she spent all of that money at the Mercer Hotel. She also rented movies and ordered an incense sticks. Isn't she that the ones always broke?
Starting point is 01:45:14 They were always like, is she lost all her money? Let's why she loses all her money. She buys Twizzlers. Have like two Twizzlers and call it a day. Yeah, I mean, what in the world? She checked in under a fake name, Lily Flowers.
Starting point is 01:45:26 In a single evening, she charged to her room $350 in alcohol, and then a bunch of candy and chips. The hotel charger for running errands, including a trip to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Apparently she made a bunch of money judging Australia's version of the mast, singer. Oh, okay. So, yeah, that's a lot of, that's a lot of money on three. I get it,
Starting point is 01:45:49 Twizzlers. Who doesn't like a Twizzler? Vodka. Does vodka taste like nothing? That's what I'm saying it. Does it taste? I mean, there's a little bit. I mean, not really. It just tastes like alcohol. Like, that's it. But, so I'm never tasted vodka. So if I were to pour vodka, it would taste it. It's not like water. It's not on, it's not tasteless. Oh, yeah. It's not like water bones. What's the least tasting ever clear, right? Oh, that's like rubbing alcohol. Oh, is it? Well, that's the most powerful.
Starting point is 01:46:16 What is the least tasty? If I were going to drink for the first time, and I was said, okay, I want to have a fruity drink, a smoothie, and pour alcohol in it. But I don't want to know the alcohol is there. What alcohol would I drink? Parrot bag, coconut rum. That's a good one. Yeah. Rum is good overall.
Starting point is 01:46:33 Because it's sugary. Like, you're take your, yeah, you're at the beach. Yeah. It'll taste like your virgin one. Like you're drinking a Kenny Chesney song. Mm-hmm. Basically. That's a good analogy.
Starting point is 01:46:44 Okay, so when I start, I'm doing that. Yes. I think that you're worried about it. I probably do the hard seltzer, though, right? Oh, like white claw? Oh, white claw, like Raymondo? Yeah. Wouldn't that be my move, Ramundo, or no?
Starting point is 01:46:58 I feel like you're going to need to want to taste it because you're going to need to know, okay, I've had enough. If you can't taste it, you're just going to keep drinking, and then they're going to be like. Ten drinks to order if you hate the taste of alcohol. Okay. Number one is a vodka. sour. Okay. Do you know what that is, Amy? I don't know what the sour part is. It tastes like a lemonade. Amarito sour. Okay. A vodka cranberry is at number two. Yep. That's what I like. Uh, rum and Coke.
Starting point is 01:47:23 Yeah. That's what my dad likes. White Clause at four. Wow. It's already on the list. Yeah. Well, yeah, they write articles every day. Oh, true. Vodka soda with lime. That's a good one too. A mimosa. Yum. That's rum. A screw driver. A mimosas. Oh, no, not champagne and oil. I was thinking mojito, sorry. Screwdriver? Vodka orange juice. A Long Island ice tea?
Starting point is 01:47:47 Oh my gosh. Don't even mess with that. You want to party? Yeah, you want to go down hard? That's what you get. College days? Like if you, oh my gosh. Tell me about a long island ice tea.
Starting point is 01:47:57 That is literally what we would drink a lot in college and you would have one and it was just like. I think there's four types of liquor in there and they would sell them for two bucks and you drink four of those. It's like the drinks we used to make his kids like a suicide read to a little bit. everything. Apparently I'm getting texture that Lindsay's put in the Twizzlers and the vodka and that makes the vodka taste better. Oh.
Starting point is 01:48:18 Okay. There you go. A little tip from a pro. Then finally a moscato and then hard cider. Those are the things that if you don't want to taste alcohol to drink. But alcohol itself doesn't taste. What does alcohol taste like? Give it a word.
Starting point is 01:48:34 Goose bumps. Okay. It's bitter. Yeah. Let me go to Kerry in Pittsburgh. phone. Hey, Carrie, you're on the Bobby Bone show. What would you like to say this morning? Hey, pretty good. Go ahead. Hi. Good. I was calling to see if there was any update on lunchbox's sketchy neighbor. Oh, so lunchbox thinks his neighbor's a drug dealer. Correct. And he puts the drugs on his trash can.
Starting point is 01:48:57 In the trash can. And then like five minutes later, a car drives through the alley, opens the trash can, takes the bag of whatever out. And also people pick him up in the front of the house. He's wearing a backpack, drive a few blocks. And then five minutes later, my neighbor comes, walking back. So any update, because you said you were going to bust him or at least record it. Yeah, I was going to try to record it or look in the trash game, but I haven't seen any action in the past week we're going to have. So he's been laying low, maybe he heard me talking about him. I don't know, but I haven't seen anything in the last week or two. It's the holidays. Maybe taking some time off. Maybe. Halloween. Yeah, no update, Kerry on that. Thanks for the call, though. I appreciate that. Thanks, have a good one. All right. All right. Natalie and Austin, you're on the Bobby Bone show. Natalie, what would you like to say? Go ahead. Hi, studio.
Starting point is 01:49:38 I just had a thing for Eddie, if it's so cold, it's kind of cold in Austin right now, that you can check your nursing homes in the area, and a lot of them give out candy, and it's inside, and it brings, you know, a smile to the elderly's face to see all the kids dressed up. It's not a bad idea. Any of us considering that, too. We might do that. We did the mall one time, and I mean, I think my son, Jr., he's 11 now,
Starting point is 01:50:04 and that's probably the worst memory he's ever had of Halloween. He still talks to it this day is that was my worst Halloween ever dead. You're going to the mall to do your treat? Why? Because the weather was so bad, same situation, but the mall was having like, come store to store and they're giving out candy. But why was it so bad?
Starting point is 01:50:18 Because he's just like, this isn't trick-or-treating. What is this? Yeah, I mean, he still remembers it to this day. He's like, ah, this is terrible. I hated that Halloween. He's in therapy on a couch. The time we spend it at the mall, dad. It's a Bobby Bones show.
Starting point is 01:50:33 Let's go over and talk to Bailey in Dallas, who's on the phone. Hey, Bailey, welcome to the show. What's happening? Hi. That's pretty good. What you want to say? I am a huge fan. I'm a long-time listener, so I listen to you when you went, Amy, we're in Austin.
Starting point is 01:50:50 I'm from Boston. I'm in Dallas, and so I'm a podcast listener now. So I'm a really big fan of the show. If you ask, I have what you like and what you don't like. But anyways, I'm driving to Tulsa tomorrow night to see you and Eddie at 13 idiots. And I'm so excited. Yeah, Eddie and I are playing tomorrow night in time. Tulsa. You're already driving now?
Starting point is 01:51:10 No, no, no, no. I'm driving to work right now. But I'm driving from Dallas to Tulsa and then back again tomorrow. Got it. I thought she was like on a horse or something. A little early. Yeah, I'm hitting on over. Oh, yeah. I'm taking the long route. Well, we appreciate that. Anything you want to say before you get to work? I just, I'm a really big fan of the show. Amy. I'm an Aggie also. And you guys do that for Jacie Penny.
Starting point is 01:51:32 So I work at Jake Pettney Home Office. I'm just, I'm a really, really big fan. And I'm just so excited to you guys tomorrow night. All right. Well, thank you, Bailey. Thanks for calling. Hope you have a good day at work. Whoops. Thanks, Bobby. Bye. All right, bye-bye. There was a deaf woman in Maryland. We got a $5,000 water bill. Turns out a toilet was running non-stop, but she couldn't hear it.
Starting point is 01:51:50 Oh, they have to fix that. The toilet or the bill? The bill. Both? Just like, I don't know. Figured out. A deaf woman in Maryland got a surprise in the mail. She opened her water bill, discovered $5,000. The city of Frederick said you had to pay her bill or a water will be shut off. She is deaf.
Starting point is 01:52:07 could not hear the toilet running because a water pump tube malfunctioned. Wild, huh? Yeah, I wouldn't be able to tell if it was running or not. If I couldn't hear it. I mean, you can't see it. It doesn't do anything. Obviously. But that would be the case, too.
Starting point is 01:52:21 What if you can't hear or see something under your sink and it's been running the whole time? True. You get out of it. Just because you didn't... I would imagine that it's met in the middle at some point. They'll say, okay, we'll cut some of it back and they'll show have a go-fund me.
Starting point is 01:52:33 But it's just an unfortunate situation. Mm-hmm. Because as soon as I read it too, I reacted like you guys. Oh. Yeah. She couldn't hear her toilet running. But... She can't hear...
Starting point is 01:52:45 Yeah, she can't hear anything. Yeah, I know. That's what's up. Hit me with that music, Raimundo, and let's talk about Halloween night. Amy? Oh, man, just ready to go trick-or-treating, I guess, in some pretty... Cold weather? Cold weather, so trying to figure that out.
Starting point is 01:53:01 But be with my dad and friends are in town, so it's going to be a lot of fun. Either way. Mm-hmm. What about you? Dinner? It's 6.30, but then I'm going to get to my house and I've got candy to give out. Yeah. But that time it would be like 8, 15, and it's also going to be cold.
Starting point is 01:53:16 Yeah. I just don't. They may not be out anymore. Getting anybody at 8. And I'm not good with candy around me. So if you don't give any away, you're going to eat it all. But you're really good at not eating after 5. Oh, yeah, that is the rule.
Starting point is 01:53:30 Oh, but you have dinner at. I know. So what I'm going to do is the next morning. I don't get to eat breakfast until like 11. Oh, that makes sense. You just push everything. Yeah. Okay. I'm doing the Fit 333 diet, which is 33.3% of my day is the only time I can eat.
Starting point is 01:53:44 I can only have a little bit of sugar in the morning. And I try to burn 500 calories throughout the day. Keep adding to your plan. Now there's a calorie burn roll. I'm creating the Fit 333 diet. Only sugar in the morning. Yeah. Fit 33 and it's really doing great.
Starting point is 01:54:01 What do you call it again? I thought it was Fit 33. Yeah. And the other stuff I've been added to like because 33.3% of your day is when you can eat. So now it's the Fit 333. So, remember this. These are three rules of the fit. 33?
Starting point is 01:54:16 Is that why? Well, there are 333 rules. I've just started them. Okay. But it's 33.3% of your day you can eat eight hours of the day. You can only have sugar in the first hour of that eight hours. And only if it's natural sugar. He's going to write a book on this.
Starting point is 01:54:29 Yeah. And it's going to sell. And you have to burn 500 calories throughout the day. You can do two, two-fifties, one 500, whatever the case is. I'm already down. I've dropped like three pounds of unhealthy. you fat. Wow. Yeah. Doing the fit 333, folks. Sounds good. Thank you. We'll see you guys tomorrow. All right. Miranda Lambert and tomorrow. Bye, Roder.
