Starting point is 00:02:49 All right. The Bobby Bones, post-show pre-show. If you're new to listening to our show podcast, what we're doing now, it wasn't on the radio. We come on after the show is over. and record this segment, just talking about the show today or anything we missed. I just got a text, lunchbox. People were asking if you stole anything from Price is Right. No, Family feud.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Oh, yeah. Amy's in my head, because Amy wrote on Twitter, it was us coming onto the Family Feud stage, and she was like, we're here, come on down. And I was like, oh, wrong show. Price is right. Yeah, I did that on purpose. Oh, you did? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Oh. I was like, Team Bobby Bones, come on down, and we're like turning around. Oh, I didn't know that was on purpose. Yeah, I mean, if you get it, you got it. Spin that wheel. We're here for the Daily Double. All right, luck, Buck, did you steal anything? No, there was really nothing to steal.
Starting point is 00:03:35 If you noticed backstage, they really don't have much. It's all out there on set, and it's, I mean, I can't steal a podium. It's really hard. The podiums are really big, and I don't think I'd fit on the airplane. I thought the stage was pretty big, a family feud compared to other, because, you know, when I was doing dancing and other shows I've been around, you go look at the game show. Sets are often really small, and the late-night talk show sets are super small. Like James Corden, tiny
Starting point is 00:03:58 Really? Yeah, all those shows Except for like the Like Letterman was big Because it was in a theater But if it's in a soundstage It's really small But the family fuse stage
Starting point is 00:04:08 It was big And that's the same exact place We shoot American Idol They clear that out And Idol goes on over there Cool Is that where you did Dance With the Stars too?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Right across the hall Was Dancing With the Stars Oh, that's cool So I knew that whole area That's your building A lot of those people I knew From Dancing with the Stars And it's a lot of my bosses
Starting point is 00:04:23 too That's cool So yeah, yeah it was good But he didn't take anything. People were asking. No, I wish. I wish they had other stuff I could have taken, but there was nothing I could really get. Steve Harvey's suit, anything.
Starting point is 00:04:33 You know, he didn't stick around for pictures. No. No, he definitely bolted. Shook your hand, went over, shook Andy's hand, and he was out. But didn't something come out a while back that, like, he requested that no one looks at him or talks to him or something before the show? Oh, yeah. That was his talk show. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:50 And it was like, I'm trying to get to my show. I'm not trying to have any conversations in the hallway. But, I mean, and now that I've met him and I see that, I could see that. I could see him putting that out and not really caring because seriously, everybody does want to talk to him. Everybody wants to talk to Steve Harvey. I get that. Yes. He handles it well.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Like now, thinking back, I hadn't thought about that memo, but it was like a memo that went out, I guess, to workers. And I mean, I don't blame him. I get it. Because we wanted to talk to him the whole time. Yeah. Because he was like, it was so funny and nice. And then there's so many different people working on the set. You think of how many people want it.
Starting point is 00:05:22 And then people in the audience are like raising their hand, like, wanting to talk to him. Like it's, it's so much. He did a cool thing where he goes out and talks for a while because he knows the people are there, so he goes out and talks to him for a little bit. Why they're like teaching us the rules on. You're going, you learn how to do the buzzer. They, you know, out there. And then he comes out and it says hi to the crowd,
Starting point is 00:05:39 quickly says hello to us, and then the show starts. And then they shoot two intros. You do the intro while you're doing the show. And so they're like, hey, Bobby, what do you want to, you know, and I say a little bit about everyone. And then they talk for a second, right? Then you, he talks to you. guys.
Starting point is 00:05:56 So you go like to Amy, because the order was me, Amy, Lauren, party, lunchbox. And so he went down the line and he talked to me for a bit and they went to Amy for a bit
Starting point is 00:06:04 and was like, hey Amy. And they talked and he tried to hook Amy and I up. Oh, yeah. But then he looked, he's like, oh, you have a wedding ring.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Yeah, there's a whole thing. And then, Chuck said, you know, it goes all the way down the line. Then at the end, in case that wasn't funny or they don't like to how the edit was,
Starting point is 00:06:18 they make both teams just whoever the celebrity is, so was Andy, Rodick and myself, go, this is Amy, This is learned. This is lunchbox. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:06:26 That type of thing. Interesting. But yeah, super funny. Oh, that's why we did it again? Yeah. Oh. I hope they used the first one. And for timing reasons.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, do you understand? Now, this is like your third show now that you've been on. You know, like, Dance with the Stars, American Idol. Now this. You know how TV is now shot. Do you understand what they're doing, like, the process? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Like, when I saw you Dance With the Stars, they'd be like, all right, let's do that over, move that. And I had no idea what they were doing. Do you get it now? Yeah. I would tell Amy, look at the producer because before they show the X's or O's, you can look at the producer in the crowd, find them, and watch their face because she's giving signals.
Starting point is 00:07:04 To Steve. To Steve. Smart. And I was like, Amy watched it. Because I was trying to look at the card. And that threw me off on my question. Yeah, because I can see, I go see half the question. And I was like trying to read it from behind.
Starting point is 00:07:14 I shouldn't have done it. But then I was like, Amy, watch the producer. And then we were playing the game and you'd give an answer, and Amy would go, yep, or Nope, because she was eyeballing the producer. So I know, like, the little places to look. It was pretty cool. And then they would pause the show sometimes. But then a couple times I misread the producer.
Starting point is 00:07:33 I got real excited, and then I was like, no, my bad, never mind. Take that back. Wrong signal. She was watching the crowd over for her nose. She got distracted. Different prosoon. Oh, and then when Steve Harvey would leave, he'd walk on, they'd go, Mr. Harvey were ready to go. Steve Harvey would walk on through, like, the dark in the back, and then show's over.
Starting point is 00:07:51 He would, like, shake the quote, unquote. with celebrity's hands, come up, say, hi, said, bye to Andy. Came up, said bye to me, nice guy, whatever. And then he walks off, they're like, goodbye, Mr. Harvey, see him a little bit, walks into the dark, changes, clothes, comes out and does the next show. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:03 So crazy. And that next show was chain smokers in five seconds of summer against each other. And in front of us was Chrissy Teigen and John Legend versus Vanderpump rules. Nice. Who did Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have as their team? Their family. Oh, family.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Yeah. Most people brought their families except Vanderpump. But they may, I don't, they related at all? Or was that the show? No, two of them date and two of them are married. But Lisa's the main one. She's Lisa Vanderpump. And then that's her crew.
Starting point is 00:08:32 If I ever get a girlfriend, I'd take her on the show. Wouldn't that be the coolest thing to do? Yeah. Have a girlfriend take them on the show? First date? That'd be a faux show girlfriend. Like, she's in. Right?
Starting point is 00:08:42 Baller move. Would that be a ballroom? No, not unless she gives a bad answer and Bobby gets mad at him. Then he dumps her. He leaves her there. I'm done with this. Find your own ride. Listen, I gave a terrible answer.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Wait until you see my thing. But yeah, it's good. We talk about it in the show a little bit. We didn't jump on it immediately, but we get to family. I just know how we are. When we start something early, we do it the whole show. So I waited a little bit before we got into it, because then again, we stayed on it at the whole show.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Back in the days, we used to do a whole talk show for five hours. Now we got a couple songs. We got dribble in here. Anything at Amy. You went to a museum? Yeah, we went to the... Yesterday? No, on Saturday morning before I flew to L.A.
Starting point is 00:09:22 We had friends in town and the kids, and we went to a museum in downtown Nashville that has Picasso right now and Monet and some of the artists. I can't remember. But, you know, I gave it a go. I saw Picasso. A van go? No. I gave it a go, like, looking at the arts. Did you buy any of them?
Starting point is 00:09:43 Yeah. Do you touch any of them? They're on loan. No touching. On only some you can take pictures, some not. And then my daughter and her other little friend, they got up next one and we wanted to take a picture and, like, security started walking up and we're like, oh, kids, scatter. So. Scatter.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Did you all steal a painting? No. That's not suspicious. Scatter! No, I mean, it was cool, but I just, some people were there with like a headset getting like a tour of explaining like each painting and the whole, we didn't do the headset thing. Did you like it? We were like, oh, this is really cool. I felt cultured and then
Starting point is 00:10:21 you know we saw We came, we conquered, we left You're done, scanner Wasn't that interesting? It just wasn't, I mean it just wasn't my thing But I admire people who can see The art in the art Did you all know Picasso's like
Starting point is 00:10:36 He was big in the 60s like in the 50s? I saw he died like in the 7th I was shocked I thought he died probably in like the 1800s Me too I thought him and like Michelangelo hung out No he died in like 1970, 33 if I read my thing correct. You read it right. And what about Rembrandt? What did you say? The other guy? No, Monet. Monet was earlier. Rembrandt played the friend's name song. Monet like died in 19. What? I'll be the Rembrandts. I get it. Oh, that's not the same guy? Yeah. He was more like, you know, late 1800s like really kicking it. I thought all these guys were back in. My nose is bleeding. Why are you bleeding? I don't know. Are you nerd? What's happening?
Starting point is 00:11:11 Check your figure. Oh my gosh. See? This could be another symptom. You need to go. I'm just sitting here. all of a sudden I touch my nose and I had blood all over. Check your finger. Make sure you didn't pick your nose. I did it pick my nose. God, do pick my nose, but only appropriate times. Not during the radio show. I think it's funny when people were like, yeah, everybody picks their nose. I woke up one time with a bloody nose. I was like, what on earth happened? I looked at my finger, like, oh, that's what happened.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Picking it away. What, Amy? Well, I'm just worried about you now because I don't know if bloody nose is a symptom of, I mean. Of dying? Amy goes, are you going to die? Maybe you have. In the show today, I save your life. Shut up. By the way, when I say shut up, I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:11:48 And in the show, we talked about dear zombies. Sometimes. Oh, my gosh, did you get... Sometimes people get upset. I stuck out my nose. Did you eat venison? Sometimes, people go, I can't believe you. Amy says, shut up to you.
Starting point is 00:12:00 You say shut up to Amy. We say it. But I need to not, because then my kids say it, and I'm like, y'all, y'all cannot say that. And they're like, Mom, we learned it from you. I'm like, shut up. It's like, shut up. Shut up. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Shut up. It's like, stop being so crazy. Shut up. Bobby, look at me. Amy's put him in her. It's the story right now. We're doing the post show pre-show and have a bloody nose. What is happening?
Starting point is 00:12:21 I'm slowly breaking down. You are, dude. Something's wrong with Bobby. We need to diagnose it. All right. Where are we going to go? You have blood on your hands, too. We're going to go because we have to tape an interview with Judah and the lion.
Starting point is 00:12:34 I'm so excited. I know, right? Yeah. I don't know if we're going to air this tomorrow or not. I don't know how it's going to be. Are they going to play? Yeah. We're going to do, take it on back.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Take it on back. It's all back just to hand you! Yeah, and they have a song with Casey Musgraves because of tomorrow. No, today. Tomorrow. Tomorrow. Tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Wednesday? Yeah, they were with Casey Musgraves. How lucky for them to have that thing done and then she wins all the Grammys. It's perfect. Like the timing is perfect. Yeah, so do we have a club of it? I'm not going to play it right now, but is it up there?
Starting point is 00:13:03 So I can hear it? All right, so anyway, we got to do that, so we got to jump a little early. Sometimes we'll record interviews if I'm not sure about them. Yeah. Your nose starts bleeding? Well, that's not the case. I don't know that was the case.
Starting point is 00:13:14 I know it's going to be good, I don't, they've never been in, so I'd like to have that opportunity. Oh yeah, that's true. Like, does that make you nervous a little bit? You just kind of like, I don't see how I guess. We're recording it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:25 You know? I bet they're going to be awesome. Yeah, and then Judah from Judah and the lion is Gator are, they don't have funny names, but Gator, our program director in Nashville's nephew. Yes. Gator Judah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:37 And then their brother. Well, Gator's last name is the lion. Right. Yeah. So it's the whole thing. They have a whole weird name anything. We're going to go. you guys, check out the show.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Check out the controversial Velvet's Edge podcast. Who knew it was so controversial? I'm the guest. Well, I'm glad you clarified. You were hangary. I was angry. People were like, I can't believe you would talk
Starting point is 00:13:58 and not have energy and say these things. I'm just being me all the time. Yeah, and you were just talking to your... And I'm talking to my friend. You didn't tell her to shut up, did you? I mean, should. Oh, okay, that's fine. Yeah, you know.
Starting point is 00:14:08 And I'm my friend, but someone I used to date, so it's kind of like a awkward. And that comes out in the podcast. Yeah. It's not awkward? I say it. No, I know the awkward. I can't remember what it was that I said, because I was listening and I was like, yeah, I learned stuff I hadn't heard you say before. And then you're like, well, what was it?
Starting point is 00:14:25 And I couldn't remember. And then I remembered. What was it? I can't remember. I can't remember. That's a fan. That's the best story you've heard. But it was true.
Starting point is 00:14:34 There was stuff you said where I was like, I don't think I've heard him say that. And I don't know if it was about Lindsay or. You talked about Lindsay. Yeah. You talked to an expert. girlfriend, about a next girlfriend? It's all there, man. Kara, I mean, but not by name.
Starting point is 00:14:50 She was talking about an ex-girlfriend, I'm an ex-girlfriend and an ex-girlfriend? She was asking me questions. She was asking me questions. And I was just answering them openly as honestly. If you guys would ask these questions, I would answer them like that. We just, I mean, that's crazy. I assume you wouldn't want to talk about all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:15:03 I'll talk about all that stuff. Oh, my nose is waiting. It stopped, though. Amy's husband's on her podcast. Four things with Amy Brown. And her husband talks about periods. And not. When he didn't want to.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Not the pronounce. Not the pronunciation. Not what you put at the end of this. Punctuation. What do you call that? Punctuation. You goobrid. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:15:25 All right. I said it like three minutes ago. Shut up. Shut up. All right. Shut up. Shut up. Mr. Bobby bones.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Hey, welcome back. Morning studio. Morning. You know, I've been looking at dogs, Amy. I do it all the time now. I know what I've been looking at? Because you keep a list of like, and you can find, any rescue for basically any breed, right?
Starting point is 00:16:03 Yeah. So if you like, you know, a pig dog, which is not a real dog, you can find a pig dog rescue. Yeah, sometimes it may take you longer, but... Yeah, for sure. You know what I've been looking at, though? Those mop dogs, they're called like a pulley, a P-U-L-I. What do you think about the mop dog? I need to Google.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Google it. It looks like it has dreadlocks and, like, covers its face. What do you think about that kind of dog? I feel like that. So now I am the proud mother of a rescue Labradoodle, and while her hair doesn't look like a mop, it sort of was starting to get dreads. I feel like that's going to be a lot to take care of. But it's supposed to be dready. Yeah, but you're still going to have to maintain that somehow.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Nope. Are you sure? Oh. Are you? I don't know. I feel like that's a high maintenance pup right there, but I could be wrong. I don't know much about it. But, you know.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Now I know with my dog That we have to like brush her every day And do all kinds of things With that I don't know you may have to like Put some product in those dreads I've been looking at Australian Shepherds Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:17:09 I had one of those when I was a kid Mm-hmm I want to yeah I've been looking at the Moody's MUDI You ever see those dogs Now man I'm learning so much I know M-U-D-I
Starting point is 00:17:21 Okay And again you're right Some of the shelters The rescues you have to really get in and either like wait. Yeah, you just have to wait, but I mean, the time will come. Yeah. So a Dalmatian will be cool.
Starting point is 00:17:38 You should get a hundred and one of them. I haven't even heard of a moody dog. That's crazy. I don't know how you say it, but I'm just looking for dogs that are smart and dogs that aren't too big. And listen, my last dog is a pit bull. I do not believe pit bulls are bad. I believe it's how you raise them. but so many places are cracking down on pit bulls
Starting point is 00:17:59 and I couldn't move into places because of my dog because I was looking to get a like a bull terrier like Spuds McKinsey Fun I know but that's some places are considered a pit bull and you can't take it on airplanes you can't do all kinds of stuff so that's what I did a lot like last night over the weekends look at dogs
Starting point is 00:18:15 that means I'm getting close that means I'm itching and I didn't do it for if you're new to the show my dog died last year and I had them for 15 years is the only living thing I've told I loved Yes. Also, I'm wrong. The Pumi dog, their coats are generally low maintenance.
Starting point is 00:18:33 The dreadlock dog? Yeah. It's so dreadlocky all over them. I don't see how they see. It just looks intense. What do you think about that though? Is that crazy? Is that too much?
Starting point is 00:18:42 It's pretty crazy. Yeah. Well, I'm still looking. Who knows what's going to happen? Okay. Well, yeah, I know that this is a huge step for you. And I know, like, losing dusty is really hard. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:53 I mean, but I think it'll be great for you. Yeah, right? Idol, I'm done with American Idol until the live shows in April because we're all caught up. We've done what we're doing until the shows go live. So we have all these episodes to run starting March 3rd. And I have them at home for basically a couple of months. I'm still working, a job or two, but I'm on the road all the time. And then I just got like a month and a half of going back and forth and I'm kind of home, I think.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Yeah. Anyway, that's all. Yeah. I think it's getting close. I've been looking at it. Everybody good this morning? Everybody good? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Good. All right, cool. The Bobby Bones Show. Big Three Stories. Our producer, Raimundo, is in the glass room with a stack of news. Raymundo, what you got? Yeah, in San Diego, police say more than a dozen people were trapped on a ride at SeaWorld. They were on gondolas above the water.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Luckily, everyone is okay now. In college basketball, the top team in the country is now the Duke Blue Devils in the latest poll. And finally, in Utah, hiker was trapped in quicksand at Zion National Park. He was buried up to his knee and couldn't get free. Luckily, he's okay now. So a random guy came to your door? Yes. I mean, I've had people over the years knock at my door, and, you know, normally I answer it and it's fine.
Starting point is 00:20:08 But I feel like now that I'm a mom and I've got kids in the house, I'm way more cautious. But he definitely, I don't want to disoom, but he looked totally on drugs. It was one of those situations where I just did not feel safe because my kids were home answering the door. but my daughter pulls back the curtain like completely so he can see that we're home. I normally like try to sneak. Yes, I know. I try to choose a window where you can kind of sneak to see who's at the door so that they don't know. But then it's so obvious that we're home that it took him like a really long time to give up going away.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And I have no idea what he was knocking on the door. I mean, maybe he wanted bus fare. I've had people ask me in my neighborhood before for like we have a bus stop close by for bus fare, which, yeah, if they need to get somewhere, I don't mind doing that. I've had someone knock on her door saying that their car broke down. When I lived in a different house, this woman knocked on my door saying she needed money for food, and I didn't really feel comfortable giving her money because I didn't know what she was going to use it for. So I put her in my car and took her to the grocery store.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Stuff like that to where my husband is like lectures me all the time. And now finally that I've got kids in the home, I get it. Like, I can't risk it. It's not just me anymore. So I was a little scary. And awkward when your daughter pulls the curtain back. Yeah, so awkward. Yeah, because then he's like,
Starting point is 00:21:30 I see you. Hello? Oh, you wouldn't stop. Yeah. And then I was like, okay, well, this is going to be really awkward. We're just going to have to sit here. And then, of course, the kids are like, Mom, why are we opening the door? Mom, somebody's sold the door.
Starting point is 00:21:39 I'm like, hey, guys, we don't open the door for people that we don't know. I mean, I have done it before, but now you need to listen to me and we don't do that. Like, so don't open the door. Do what I say, not as what I do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. As I say, not as I do, for sure. So, I mean, in my neighborhood, you never really know. Yeah, every time there's, like, a bad crime story, it's like, let me check how close it is to Amy's house.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Yeah. Because she lives in a pretty... It's usually right in that area. Sketch part of town. I live in a diverse part of town. Yeah, where it's always, the crime's on TV. The news is always at your house. Yeah, diversity.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Like the news map usually zooms into her neighborhood. We have non-criminales and we have criminals. It's which part of the screen is our house actually going to be. It's going to be at one side of it. Yeah. Well, listen. I'm glad you didn't let them in. I know, and I feel like I finally now, my kids have allowed me to learn, too.
Starting point is 00:22:28 You can't just be so trusting. PSA, the more you know. There you have it. Don't trust, the more you know. Bobby boom, come on. Every year we wait for lunchbox's tax return, and he gets it, and it's like $10,000, $11,000, $13,000. This year, how much are you expecting lunchbox? I'm thinking about $13,000 because I get a bonus for having a kid.
Starting point is 00:22:49 When you have a kid, you get more money is what they say. That's so much. It's so much. Everybody thinks that's a... I know he does it every year, guys, but it's still ridiculous. We can't get lost on the fact that he does it every year. It's still ridiculous. Right?
Starting point is 00:23:01 Totally. So he found a story in the news. What is it? There's this guy in Tampa, and I'm scared this might... They might do this to me. He filled out one of those W-2s online, filled it all out, submitted it to the IRS, and he got a million dollars back. A million dollars. He said he was a, quote-unquote, freelancer, and he only made $17,000 over the year.
Starting point is 00:23:23 and the federal income tax withheld was $1 million. So he got a million dollars back and he bought all this stuff and now he's going to prison. I can't believe they sent him a million dollars. Yeah. Well, they sent him a refund of $980,000. He didn't get the full million. But that's crazy they would send that check.
Starting point is 00:23:40 And so, of course, they're going to come back for it. And you're worried that all year is going to catch up to you maybe? Well, I'm like, man, if this guy, but he, I think he went a little too far. At least I'm smart about mine and I do it within the rules. Throwing out there a million dollar refund, come on. Like, use your head, dude. Over the last 10 years, what do you think you've gotten back in refunds? 10 years, you said?
Starting point is 00:24:04 Yeah. Oh, I've gotten 100 Gs. Yeah, easily. Yeah, I would say about 100 Gs because, you know, some years I get 8,000, 9,000, but then I get it up to like 10-5, so it kind of bounces out. So I'd say around 100 Gs. And you don't worry really the government's going to come after that or take you to jail? No, because I feel like I read the rules. I read the fine print. I save all my
Starting point is 00:24:28 receipts throughout the year. Gas money. If I go to a movie, I write that off because we're going to talk about it on the show. I went to the movie for work. Oh, boy. Well, this guy went to jail. We've waited for years for lunchbox to go to jail, but it's been so long he's been doing it. He hasn't. So we've kind of given up hope. Is it hope? No, I don't want to go to jail. Hope. Hope. Hope is when you want something to happen. That'd be a funny bit, though. But if you're breaking the law, you should go to jail, right? So that'd be a funny bit. If I went to jail, I'd be in there for, you know, three to five years.
Starting point is 00:24:56 I mean, is that a little? You check into me on Wednesdays? Hey, let's call lunch, live from the jail. Yeah, no, you'd probably have to call us. You did go to jail once on this show. Yeah, listen to I'm talking about that. All right. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Morgan No. 2. 30 seconds skinny. Miranda Lambert is officially a married woman. She tied the knot to a guy named Brendan in a secret wedding. You can see the photo at bobbybones.com. Thomas Wrett will not only be making an appearance on Saturday. night live on March 2nd. He's going to be performing brand new songs
Starting point is 00:25:26 off his new album. Carrie Underwood surprised three Nashville couples on Valentine's Day. She covered the check for the couples by surprise. When they went to get their checks, they were given a card that said surprise. Your dinner has been taken care of this evening. Happy Valentine's Day, X-O-X-X-O-C, Carrie Underwood. Hashtag love wins. I'm Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:25:45 That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Listen to this one. Back in December, there's a guy named Ryan, 24 years old. He goes to ER. He's sick.
Starting point is 00:25:58 He has pneumonia. It turns septic. He almost died. So they had to put him into a medically induced coma for six and a half weeks. Which all that's crazy. Yeah. Like the medically induced coma. Now, this is telling me something good, so you know it's going to turn out good.
Starting point is 00:26:13 So don't change it. So doctors, they weren't sure if he'd wake up. And he did. He finally got to go home last week. And one of the first things he said, when he woke up was, hey, did I miss Christmas? Because that was his favorite holiday. So his mom was like, hey, don't worry.
Starting point is 00:26:31 They put up all the Christmas decorations. The tree goes up. They put presents underneath it. Some of the neighbors put up decorations in their house. They had a big Christmas party. They had some caroling on the street. Offer this guy who went into a coma because he missed Christmas. Tell me that's not cool.
Starting point is 00:26:47 It's pretty cool. That's tell me something good. That's what it's all about right there. This story comes us from Missouri. 911 operator gets a call. Yeah, we have a shoplifter. He just stole two bottles of alcohol. So police respond.
Starting point is 00:27:03 They find the guy walking down the street, has the alcohol in his backpack. But also in his backpack, he has a journal. And he's been on a crime spree for the past month. And he wrote down everything he'd stolen in the last month, item for item, and what store he stole it from? And when he didn't steal anything that day, wrote off day. Oh, he took a day off.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Oh, they got him. Oh, my gosh. So he's facing numerous charges. Good. Good. All right. On Lunchbox, that's your bonehead story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Mr. Bobby Bones. Hey, good morning, good morning. I was reading this story about how they use science to find the most uplifting songs. I'm going to play the most uplifting songs now. Just prepare to be uplifted like crazy, everybody. Are you guys okay with being so uplifted this morning? Yeah, I need it. Because I'm a little down right now.
Starting point is 00:28:01 No. Okay, I got you. It's a scientific formula. It measures beats per minute, the scale on which song was written, how many different chords are used, and also lyrical themes. At number five of the most uplifting songs of all time, I of the Tiger from Survivor. Feel a little bit better. I wonder, hey, Morgan, number two, this song is a little too old for you, but do you, is this at 25 years old? Is this song still gets you up or no? Yeah, no, I listen to this when I run. Actually, it's on my running playlist. So, do you know Rocky? No, no. The movie?
Starting point is 00:28:38 I know the movie, but Rocky's the boxer. Yeah, that's where this song is from. Oh, yeah, I know that movie. I thought you were talking about like another song. Yeah, I know the movie Rocky. But do you know this song's from that? No, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:28:51 There you go. I didn't like relate to it, obviously. Number five, Survivor Eye of the Tiger. There you go. Number four, Uptown Girl from Billy Joel. Number three, the Beach Boys, good vibrations. You know who sink that, Amy? The Beach Boys.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Yeah, there you go. Number two, most uplifting songs of all time, according to science. Dancing Queen from Abba. I like that song for some reason, but I feel creepy singing it. Young and Sweet, only 17. There are a lot of those songs from back in the day where adults are singing about teenagers that are kind of weird. Well, that's true.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Yeah, and then number one, it's from Queen. Don't Stop me now. Hit it. That is a jam, though. That one uplips the crap out of me, guys. Queen. Have you ever that song?
Starting point is 00:30:01 I don't know that I have. Like, I could not sing it to you. Did you watch Bohemia Rhapsody yet? No. Okay, I told you I saw it. I gave it two and a half out of four guitars. I thought it was okay. But they played that song in that movie.
Starting point is 00:30:14 That's a good one though. Don't stop me! There you go. Those are your most uplifting song. We'll put them up at bobbybones.com if you want to see those and be uplifted. The Bobby Bone Show. All right, save my life, Amy.
Starting point is 00:30:25 What's this about? So this is from our listener, Jennifer. She works at Circe's Sleep Clinic in Arkansas, and she wrote me this. Because I'm not sleeping well? Yeah. She said, I heard Bobby say that he woke up with his heart racing. I see this all the time in clinic, especially in healthy people. He may have sleep apnea, and the racing heart can be from the lack of oxygen at night.
Starting point is 00:30:48 It can turn into aphib if untreated. It is often missed and thin people, so you should really encourage him to have a sleep study done. Other symptoms include snoring, but not always, insomnia, morning headaches, and sweating at night, which you've all had. And then it says this, yeah, uh-huh. You could really help him, and if he really does have it, it could honestly save his life to be treated. I don't think I have sleep apnea. Isn't that breathing? You're not breathing?
Starting point is 00:31:17 Yeah, you're not regular. Okay, you haven't done the sleep study. I know. I don't want to go sleep somewhere. I can't even sleep in my own house. I don't want to go to some guy named Frank's basement and sleep and have him watch me. Okay, but here's the deal. I know there's the mornings where you come in and you've had a headache.
Starting point is 00:31:30 We got all of us come in with headaches. I got one right now. And then also the not sleeping and then you've been talking about how you're sweating. Yeah. Just saying, if she didn't put in here, it could honestly save his life. Then I wouldn't have been as like, what? But I didn't know. I'm going back to the doctor in two weeks, if I live, obviously.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Because it gave me some lighter medication and it just makes me feel nauseous, so I got off of it. Okay. But I do wake up. And my anxiety when I sleep. for no reason is crazy. It's not like I haven't been breathing and my heart's catching up. I wake up and it just feels like
Starting point is 00:32:04 I'm freaking out. But there's no reason to freak out. Maybe your heart is racing because you're not getting enough oxygen but you don't know it. I have so much oxygen. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Fine. Well, I appreciate that note. I don't think that's it but I'm not a doctor yet. People in Arkansas looking out for you. I know. Top three songs in country music right now. Girl Like You from Jason Aldean.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Number three. I'll get a check down. It's just weird for me to go sleep somewhere else. Yeah. I don't even go stay up with people's houses as a kid, ever. Well, I don't have any friends, so I was older. And then I don't like sleeping somewhere that's not my bed, and I can't have a TV on.
Starting point is 00:32:41 And I think that's the real reason. Now, I talk about it. It's not because I'm against a sleep study. I don't like sleeping other places. It makes me anxious. Which is, again, I don't want to. Anxiety. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:49 I'm going to have anxiety while I'm doing a sleep study. Anyway, girl like you three. Maybe they have, like, Uber sleep studies. They come to you. You know, like. I don't want to me in my house watching me sleep. What is that? He's out.
Starting point is 00:33:03 He's out, Amy. He's out on this. Okay. Yeah, number two, Luke Combs, beautiful crazy. Jam, here too. Can you help but amaze me. I like what Luke Combs does. By the way, I like Luke Combs, right, as a person, too.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I think he's a cool guy. But I like what he does professionally. He gets on his Facebook or his Instagram, and he goes, if I get 20,000 likes, I'll put up an acoustic video. And they do. And then he gets all these followers. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:31 If I, let me see. Look at my Instagram here. I don't even know what I could offer people to get the likes. If I get one million followers, what am I right now? $877,000. If I get one million followers this week, Eddie and I will put up a new raging idiot song on Friday. But didn't y'all already say you were putting up this song? It's not going to work.
Starting point is 00:33:51 It's all we can offer. But we have a pretty good song coming out, though. It's called the emoji love song. Do you want to hear the chorus? We already did the chorus, right? We got that Emoji love This is the chorus
Starting point is 00:34:11 It's all you get right now Yeah We heard y'all do that Live I don't think I'd heard it produced Yeah Because that's that Yeah how about that
Starting point is 00:34:17 And number one This week Emoji love song We got that Emmoji Love No it's really Scotty McCurry
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah This is it This is now Two weeks in row That song's been Number 1 Which is pretty cool Good for him
Starting point is 00:34:37 Take my hand Take it in When I hear that song, I think about him playing that to his girl All the time. Oh, yes, of course. And I'm like, man. And then I think, how vulnerable is that to sit and play a song you wrote for someone to their face?
Starting point is 00:34:52 I could never do that. I did once, and I was trying to get a girl back and shut the door on me. Well, that's why you struggle with it. Maybe so. Yeah, it wasn't a good thing for me. So congratulations, Scotty McCreary. The biggest pop song is Halsey without me.
Starting point is 00:35:07 And the big alternative song, 14 weeks at number one. 14. Yeah. Is the emoji love song. From the raging idiots, yeah. We got that emoji love. Just kidding.
Starting point is 00:35:21 It's panics of a disco. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Those are your big songs. Hey, it's Bobby Bones here. Been talking about this for a while. If you haven't played Best Fiends yet, man, you're missing out. It's like Friends without the R. Best Fiends.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Best Fiends is the five-star rated puzzle game that has me and millions of people obsessed. Like, go look at the rating. of Best Feen. It's how you know it's a good game. You solve thousands of fun puzzles. You collect tons of characters. We love the game here on the show. Morgan No. 2 loves the game. I think she plays it every morning before we start playing work, or at least most mornings. If you haven't given it a try, let me just recommend that you try it. You can play Best Feens with the family, with the friends you love in your life. They're all probably playing it too. If they're not, you can get them on. Best Feens, it's Friends Without the R. You'll keep wanting to play more and more and get to higher levels. America's falling in love with Best Fiends, so do yourself a favor and download Best Fiends for free from the App Store or Google Play today. That's Friends Without the R, Best Fiends. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Did you know that your toaster could be causing all kinds of pollution? Like more so than you standing on a busy intersection inhaling a bunch of stuff from cars and buses and trucks? Well, she's passionate about this? Well, because now I might have to get rid of my toaster. Okay, stop it. No, no. What am I holding here? Amy's house and a banana.
Starting point is 00:36:56 I can see now, you walk in as a couch and a banana. I'm holding multiple articles here that tell us that, yeah, toasters send toxic particles into the air once they're turned on, and burnt toast is particularly harmful. I believe this. I do believe that... So... What, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Well, yeah, you should believe it. It comes from the University of Texas. smart people. There's so many things that are creating pollution around us. And I believe a toaster, which you plug in and it makes an artificial heat, that's probably something bad coming from that. But Amy doesn't have a microwave. She's going to get rid of a toaster.
Starting point is 00:37:32 You're going to have no way to heat your food at all. It's going to be all cold food all the time. Yeah, because I have a gas stove and someone told me I should not be inhaling that gas. You probably should be inhaling the air. You're inhaling right now, honestly. I don't know what to do anymore. You can have to move into a cabin in the woods in Montana. the only way for you to be absolutely happy.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Yeah. Okay, so a new study found that you can fool a lot of people with a pretty basic disguise. Simply, a wig will change you, glasses, or maybe even different makeup, and it'll be 30% harder for people to recognize you. So if you're like, sometimes when we have these stories of people that rob banks, they don't do anything. They just like go in as themselves. They don't even try it. And all you have to do is a wig, glasses, or makeup. And then Bobby, if you don't have your glasses on, people don't recognize you sometimes.
Starting point is 00:38:20 I know. I take my glasses off. And they're like, excuse me, sir, what do you do? Excuse me, a tall, skinny, dorky guy. What are you doing here? I'm like, guys, it's me, Bobby. Yeah. They're like, what?
Starting point is 00:38:29 Our boss is, I put my glasses. I'm like, oh, it's you. It's like Superman. He would take off his outfit or a Superman costume and put his glasses on. Right. And we don't even, that's Clark Kent. Yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Come on. But then it happened me in real life. And it, yeah. No, they say, I mean, the whole point of the thing is that it just can be pretty basic, how people just identify like one or two things with you. And then when you don't have that or you add something or take it away, they may not know who you are. Well, I would say it's mostly because we're very surface. We look, we just see quickly and we don't spend a lot of time looking at someone. I think that's what it's about more than anything.
Starting point is 00:39:01 We know our couple things that we know them for and we don't spend time actually. Like right now, I'm looking deep into your eyes, Amy. And if it wasn't you, I would know because I'm looking deep into your eyes. Thank you. I sat by the Amy on the flight yesterday. We weren't sitting by each other. and then I was like Amy asked the guy to switch seats. I played it cool though.
Starting point is 00:39:15 No, no, then she got nervous. Then she wouldn't do it. I didn't want to ask because he did not look like he was switchable. Yeah, he looked like a nice guy. But then I was pretty slick about it. I had the one who did it. So Amy starts being obnoxious and like leaning through the hole because she's sitting right behind me. And I was like, hey.
Starting point is 00:39:30 She was like, hey, what's up? And so then I said, hey, why don't you come sit on this middle thing in between me and this guy? That was. Oh, yeah, the armrest. Yeah. And then he goes, do you want me to move? And we were like, oh, we didn't think about that. Wow.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Wow, what a great idea. Do you mind? Are you sure? That's your idea, though, right? But you came up with this. This is great. And then Amy changed seats. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Thank you. Thank you. What else, Amy? Okay, I have your trip of 2020. Is it the Golden Girls one? Yes. Oh, yeah, I saw that. The Golden Girls cruise.
Starting point is 00:40:00 She said I can meet someone, though. On the cruise. You might. Yeah, you like older women, but. Yes. No, I don't anymore. Oh, okay. So it's said to hit the high season in 2020.
Starting point is 00:40:10 It'll depart from Miami, of course. Before making stops at Key West in Cozumel. It includes a Golden Girl's Bar Crawl, Trivia Games, and One Night in St. Olaf. Oh, that's funny. Yeah, which is where... Italy, right? Who's from the... Oh, no, no, no, San Jose is from.
Starting point is 00:40:29 St. Oliva. It's where Rose is from. In Minnesota? No. I don't know. It's not really there. They just recreate it. Like, the life there, like, you know, simple.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Then that's not really St. Olaf. Okay, but I don't even know that St. Ola. Does it really exist? But I think, so listen, I watch the only thing I watch now is the office, so I could be rusty. Someone can look up St. Olaf. But if that's where Rose is from, that's a small town in Minnesota. Because she's from Minnesota, I believe. Wow, there's a Golden Girls costume contest.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Who would you dress up as? Blanche. No, she's too dirty. Yeah. You'd be a good, Sophia. Yeah, Minnesota, you're right. Right. Wow.
Starting point is 00:41:10 How do you know these things? I was like, you can't go to St. Olaf on a cruise. I always thought, why did I think St. Olaf was like... Well, you're thinking of Italy. That's Sicily. Sicily, right. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Okay. All right. Well, anyway, if anybody is interested in this, it's about $1,000. Yikes. But it's five nights. Five nights. February of next year. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:32 There you have it. Thanks, David. Yeah, I made me. That's my file. Last night, I heard a cat. I don't know where the cat was. Do you see my answer story? No, I haven't.
Starting point is 00:41:41 It's basically a documentary. It should be on Netflix. I'm trying to find these cats or this cat. It's good, yeah. It's really good. And I almost felt guilty going to sleep last night because of the ending in my instant story. You left us hanging.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Kind of. Yeah. They're down there. Ew. And I'm trying to find these cats and I end up going under my house. It's a whole thing. Mr. Bobby Bones is my Instagram into story. So what's the end?
Starting point is 00:42:03 Yeah. You have to watch the Insta stories. Do you? Oh, but Eddie said you left it hanging. Where I left off it says, I'll let you know in about an hour. Yeah. And then I got nothing.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Well, it's up there. Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram. But I just kept hearing these cat noises. Oh. And so then I kept chasing them. And I did the Sarah McLaughlin song, In the arms. It's funny.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Thank you. Yeah. I was trying hard, man. You've even got tuna fish out there? I just put it outside. I had tuna on the ground outside. Yeah. It's the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:42:31 It's like, Amy, you ever seen Making a Murder? Yeah. Manza story's better right now. Okay. Yeah. So, by the way, if you're in Boston or near Boston, in less than one month Eddie and I
Starting point is 00:42:41 the Raging Idiots are playing we're coming out of retirement to play a St. Patrick's Day show Ragingidiotes.com got a new song coming out Friday, the whole thing, man. Ragingididiotes.com if you're in Boston
Starting point is 00:43:03 only balcony seats left. Listen to this. A bride wants to dump her sister as a bride's maid because her sister's pregnant and she doesn't want her pregnant sister in the wedding photos. Ooh, come on. Amy go.
Starting point is 00:43:17 No, that's your sister. No. No, you need to love her as she is pregnant and all. My sister was pregnant during my wedding. Now, she did encourage me to move my wedding about four months earlier than we originally planned because she didn't want to be super pregnant in the pictures. And I did it for her. But I would have done it if she was nine months pregnant and all.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Can I say this about wedding photos? What? They're important, right? They're really only important for like a month. Correct. I can't even tell you the last time I looked at mine. And you may go back to them in 10 years. But the length of how, the span of how important these wedding photos don't equal to how important
Starting point is 00:43:53 this relationship is with someone close to. It doesn't have to be your sister. But that's going to linger forever. Right. If you go, don't. Or it doesn't have to be this exact scenario. People go, get all but-heard about their wedding photos. It's fun on Instagram for a month.
Starting point is 00:44:07 And maybe you bring them back on a throwback Thursday, occasionally. But other than that, maybe, you know, a tossback Tuesday or a flashback Friday. Yeah. And it'll be cool to know when that niece or nephew or whatever is born. Like later on in life, they'll look back in the pictures and be like, wow, I was in mom's belly on the day you got married. Yeah. This girl needs to slam the brakes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:27 A bride to be recently took to Facebook to complain that her sister, who's a bridesmaid, is going to be pregnant at her wedding. And she didn't want any pregnant bridesmaids. Yeah, I also have to think that she's probably been like this forever and it's not surprising to the sister, right? Yeah, probably not. Lunchbox? Look, you don't want the pregnant sister taking it? away from the bride so you kick her out of the pictures. I have no problem with it because you know when your sister's getting married so you should
Starting point is 00:44:50 plan your pregnancy around the wedding. Think about that. That's showing disrespect to your sister. Are you guys going to Random Kid Cody's wedding coming up? Yep. It's in like a month, huh? Oh, yeah. I forgot about that.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Yes, I think I just got my invitation. So on this show, we had two interns and I made him slow dance and they fell in love and they're getting married. That's right. Yeah. Random Kid Cody was an old intern of ours and I would be like, hey, he would get social anxiety and vomit in public places. Yeah, I forgot about the vomit.
Starting point is 00:45:16 He went to college, and the first day they made him stand up and said who he was, and he ran out of class and vomited and never went back. And then he moved here and stayed in a hotel until he could get an internship on the show. And I brought him in, and then I kind of took him on my wing for a while. I was like, come to dinner, let's go to public places. And then he was like this girl named Sarah on the show. He never really had a girlfriend. And so then I made him slow dance.
Starting point is 00:45:36 He didn't vomit, luckily. Yeah. And then they started dating, and now they're getting married. Oh, yeah. And so it's next month, huh? Yeah, March. March. Good for them.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Who thought random kid Cody would beat me to the aisle? That's amazing. The guy who vomits anytime anybody speaks to him is getting married before I am. That's how bad off Bobby is. That's how bad off I am. It's like Cody Howard. A razor blade is found under a shopping cart handle. Police say, hey, look out.
Starting point is 00:46:04 In this town, they're like, people are going and putting razor blades underneath a Walmart underneath the card handles. So when you grab them and cut your hands. That's so terrible. Yeah, right? Like, what is the point in that? Well, I think the point is. Randomly hurt people? Okay. Yes.
Starting point is 00:46:20 It's a prank. It says there is a meanness about things now. One person interviewed after she cut her hands. Yeah, I'd be mad too. Yeah. It's not just neutral when I disagree with something. It's that meanness. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:34 They sit the guys in his mid-20s is driving a tan, late-model GMC or Chevy Suburban. Six blades have been found under six carts. Oh, that's a lot. They can't go in a surveillance footage by that? It's time for the good news With lunchbox There's a couple in North Carolina Want to do something special on Valentine's Day
Starting point is 00:46:55 So Dave Chappelle, the comedian was in town It was sold out So looking for tickets and find someone selling him on Craigslist $500 So they wire him $500 And he disappears No tickets So they're like, oh man
Starting point is 00:47:09 They go out to dinner on Valentine's Day Dave Chappelle found out about the story shows up at dinner and hand delivers them tickets to the show. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty cool. Hey, good for them. Dang, 500 bucks for comedy tickets, too, huh?
Starting point is 00:47:23 I guess Valentine's Day you go all out. Yeah. Dang. All right, that's good. I like that. That's what's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:47:33 Morgan No. 2nd. 30-second skinny. Miranda Lambert is officially a married woman. She tied the knot to a guy named Brendan in a secret wedding. A guy. She tied to a guy. To a guy named, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Is a cop she met a few months ago, huh? Yep. A good morning, America? I'm not saying anything out of line, right? Wow, I didn't know that. I didn't know that. There's a line I have to listen to going, what have I read and what do I know?
Starting point is 00:47:58 Okay. You know what I mean? I believe I read that, right? Yes, that's right. Was he there at the fight? Yeah. Okay, okay. Wait, I don't know if that's out there.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Oh, okay, okay, I don't know. I didn't ask any questions. What is salad dumping flight fight? She dumped salad on people said? Was it his ex that she dumped her? Oh, gosh. I don't think so, no. I don't think anything like that, no.
Starting point is 00:48:16 What else? Well, you can see their photo at bobby bones.com. Thomas Wrett will not only be making an appearance on Saturday Night Live on March 2nd. He's also going to be performing brand new songs off his new album. All right, there you go. That's cool because usually Saturday Night Live usually only does like the super, like, super trendy country people. Yeah. Not like the people that sell millions of records and are like that we like.
Starting point is 00:48:39 It's like super trendy. And there are people, like Marin made it, but she was new. and super cool in Trinity. She's still super cool, but usually it's like edge people. So good for Thomas Rett for being like mainstream cool, and they're putting them on. It's big deal.
Starting point is 00:48:50 What else? And Carrie Underwood surprised three Nashville couples on Valentine's Day. She covered their check by surprise. So when they went to pay, they got a card that said surprise. Your dinner has been taken care of this evening. Happy Valentine's Day XOXO, XO, Keri Underwood, hashtag Love Wins. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, good for Carrie.
Starting point is 00:49:09 I wonder if it was actually Carrie out in a mask. Ooh. Disguise. Like a Robin mask with her eyes covered, paying for people's meals. Put this on my tab. All right, Morgan number two, is that it? Yep, Morgan number two, that's the skinny. Let me say this.
Starting point is 00:49:22 If you go over and you search for Amy's podcast called Four Things with Amy Brown, you will hear her husband on the podcast for the first time ever. This is Amy's husband talking about how to handle one, like a woman's time of the month, right? Gives advice to other guys saying, jump right in, do not avoid it. I think the biggest lesson is just to not avoid it. Like, I've tried my entire life to avoid it. I've tried for the last 12 years of marriage, avoid it. You're still trying to avoid it right now.
Starting point is 00:49:45 I know when I'm stuck in this chair. I can't get out of it. So, but I would say my, and what I'm trying to do is just jump in. Like, just do it. It's going to happen. Buy all the model. Get some chocolate. And then just realize that it's happening. Yeah. Yeah. Girls have a period every month. It's happening.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Amy's husband also on the podcast talks about being tricked the only time he's been here on the morning show. Bobby faded you out completely. So I was singing it by myself. Oh, I had him come up and sing a song together. And I turned Amy's mic down and just had him singing, and he didn't know it. I don't know if I remember that, but I believe it. I didn't remember it until he said it, and now I remember.
Starting point is 00:50:19 And he's, like, holding onto it. Yeah, because he hit me up about it outside, too. I forgot about that part, too. I was supposed to be, like, background. You were on the radio for all your friends to hear you singing jingle bell rock by yourself. I can see why you probably didn't come back on the radio for, like, 10 years. Slightly traumatic. There you go.
Starting point is 00:50:35 So check it out. The podcast is called Four Things with Amy Brown, and one of Amy's guests is her husband. Search for it on IHart Radio, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. It's cool, ain't? Big guess. That's a big get. I know.
Starting point is 00:50:48 I'm shocked. I got him. Yeah. There you go. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby bones. Hey, over to Amy right now. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:51:08 The morning corny. Where does the Fons like to go for lunch? Timely. Where does the Fons like to go for lunch? Chick-the-Lay. There you go. Now you have to eat it. Chick-fil-L- How do I mess it up?
Starting point is 00:51:28 Chick-fil-A-I-I-E! Hey! That's it, Amy. All right, we get that. Sorry. I gotta get my Fawn's impersonation down. You know, I just not worry about that one and focus on a more contemporary impersonation. What?
Starting point is 00:51:40 There's so many people that know the Fonz, and then he goes, eh! Morgan number two, do you ever watch Happy Days? No, not really. Does a Fonz joke resonate with you at all? No, I actually was thinking like a fawn, like a deer. I was on the other spectrum. What? Thanks.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Hey. Amy's like, let me tell you a joke about. In a bar, Humperty. And we're like, wait, what? Who's it? Oh, I'm like laugh out loud. So President Roosevelt walks into a bar, right? I get it.
Starting point is 00:52:03 I don't watch Happy Days all the time or anything, but I mean, I thought that one was funny, and the Chick-fil-A made it more relevant. So guys, guys, right? I'm watching Green Acres last night, right? I mean, a Green Acres joke would be fine. The printing press. Let me tell you how funny that is. Okay, thank you.
Starting point is 00:52:22 That was the morning corny. I thought it was funny. A. But we got it. That's okay. For the older audience in the morning. I can tell you there's an odd group of insiders on this show in the country music world. I have a lot of friends.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Amy hangs out with a lot of wives of country stars, oddly. And then Ray Mundo, who does our news early in the morning, he edits all the audio that you hear on the show. He has this job. He works in the glass room. But he knows all these secrets. And this is, what's the segment called? Ramundo's country music secrets. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Ray Mundo's country music secrets Yeah so at the bar having a couple drinks And I learned something crazy What? We had the Miranda wedding stuff Yeah we also had Michael Ray a month ago he got engaged There's another huge engagement Okay who is it can't tell you Oh it's a secret yeah so it already happened
Starting point is 00:53:14 We're gonna find out about it probably in the next week maybe two They have to tell their families or friends and then they're gonna gum public with it But it is totally under the radar right now nobody knows about it. And we're talking millions of Instagram followers involved. Uniting is one. Oh man, when you said millions, you lost me. I had Ray and Bay at as the secret had to tell their family, but million. It's not you guys, Ray? No, it's country music. So, like a star, yeah, like a artist. Yep. Ray Mundo's country music secrets. Is it two artists? No, just one. It's one artist who just got engaged. Yep. Oh, I know who it is. It's a good one though.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Do I know who it is? Look at my eyes No Oh dang Wait Is it one country artist and one knot Yeah But that knot has a good amount of followers
Starting point is 00:54:01 A great amount of followers I know we talked about this at dinner It wasn't official then What dinner? When I sent Ray and Bay to dinner And I went by to see him Oh are you the source I know
Starting point is 00:54:13 I have other sources that are very close to both these people You said Ray was really tipsy Yeah he was Nothing else can give us I mean that's it It's, I don't know why they're keeping it hush-hush. Maybe they're going to go to, like, People Magazine or Daily Mail something. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Selling the story, maybe TMZ, but I got it, man. Okay, appreciate that. Yeah. I scoop on really nothing. You scooped that you know something that we don't. No, I scooped that they come in threes. We got the Miranda marriage. We got the Michael Ray getting engaged.
Starting point is 00:54:38 And there's another one. They all come in threes, folks. What do you know about the Miranda one? She got married. That's not a secret. I thought you knew it. I know, it's out. But I said they come like, it's all of a sudden, everybody's getting engaged.
Starting point is 00:54:49 All right. Thank you, buddy. Yeah. That was Raymundo's country music secrets. We'll find out later who he's talking about. That's funny. That guy's funny. Catherine and Tennessee, how are you? I'm good. How are you, Bobby?
Starting point is 00:55:04 You know, real good. Happy to be back in my home studio, which is pretty awesome. Like, right here at home, everybody. I've been on the road for a bit working from other studios, so I'm good. What's happening? Are you? Nothing just on my way to work and stuck in traffic, running kind of late. But, yeah, I did to work.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Well, cool. Anything I can do for you? No, I was just calling to see if you ever found those cats Oh, let me tell you guys what happened to me last night I'm in my house I've been on flights all day flying back from California And I go And I go have dinner with a friend last night
Starting point is 00:55:35 And it's good dinner, him and I talked for like two hours And I was like, boy, I sure feel fulfilled My heart's full Gonna go to bed now And I kid you not I'm walking out of bed and air I'm like, what the There's a cat somewhere in my house
Starting point is 00:55:48 And you can't hear exactly where it's coming from. It's like a ventriloquist cat. So I sit again and listen. So I turned my phone on and my whole Insta story is me trying to find this cat. My Instagram is Mr. Bobby Bones. Go to my story and I go okay. So I go outside and I try all the kitty calls. I try here kitty kitty kitty. I tried that one.
Starting point is 00:56:09 I try that one. I get food. Did you meow? I even did the meow mix song at one point where I'm like Meow, meow, meow, meow. Yeah. I tried that. Didn't come. I went under my house and what some are calling the scariest in the story of all time.
Starting point is 00:56:27 It looked pretty creepy, huh? It does look creepy. I don't want to ruin the end of the story. But all night last night, it's 11 o'clock and I'm looking for these cats. And it's cold outside, so Bobby's like trying to get it in. It's like 38 degrees. And I'm trying to find these cats.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Okay. I still haven't watched, so. Well, it's all up there. Catherine, I'll give you an update if there's another one on my answer story. I don't want to be this. I want to do a spoiler right now, but I was searching all night for these cats. And you hear a, and you don't know where it's coming from.
Starting point is 00:56:56 And then I got quiet, and they wouldn't be quiet. And then I went under my house, and they shut up. It's like they knew I was there. What I'm worried about is that it's a mom and babies, and then she had them, and I can't find them. That's the worry. And then I was going to sleep last night, and my TV didn't work. I was gone for like five days, and I got on my cable shut off or something. I paid the bill.
Starting point is 00:57:14 I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Times are tough? I don't know. And then I hear, meher. I don't know what to do with myself last night You could be the new mom or dad I know, I take them on
Starting point is 00:57:27 Amy, at one point I got on YouTube and pulled up all cat sounds and was walking outside my house with the YouTube I was going Meow hoping they would come
Starting point is 00:57:39 and they did it I was like, here's your sister come talk to your sister and they wouldn't come out anyway, it's all on my answer story Mr. Bobby bones What? Here's your sister
Starting point is 00:57:48 That's all I was yelling And then I was doing... There's your cousin. Yeah. I was doing Uncle Lou, the cat. That was funny. Thank you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:55 This is off the top of my head, you know? But I was like, meow, it's your Uncle Lou, cat, meow. And I was playing this song. I had Santa McLaughlin. You know, for the cost of 99 cents a day and two cups of coffee, you too can support a kitty cat.
Starting point is 00:58:09 And they wouldn't come out. And that was Sarah McLaughlin. With tune in my hand. Trying to make me cry. Yeah. And then I felt bad because people were just glued to it. It's basically making a murderer a kitty cat edition. Netflix is going to pick it up.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Jam, though, huh? Jam. I need some distraction. She's Canadian in Sarah McLaughlin. Really? Yeah. Atlanta's Canadian. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:58:50 Selene Dion. Brian Adams. Beaver. Seth Rogan. Yeah. Paul Schaefer. Ryan Reynolds. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Brian Gosling. Both of them are Canadian? I don't know. I confuse them. They are right, yeah. That's me doing that with her. Oh, okay. Anyway, that was my life last night.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Let's play the one-word movie game. Let's do it. Where I will yell a word and you just have to name the movie. And it goes a little something like this. Amy, you're up first. Oh, Braveheart. That's correct. Let's give it just a second.
Starting point is 00:59:33 our listeners can play against each other in their cars. Lunchbox. Smoking. Oh, think about that one here. Smoking. That's tricky. I thought I nailed the impression, though, too. Is that impression good?
Starting point is 00:59:48 Yeah, I got it. Oh, I have the clip up. Oh, that would be better. No, you don't get the clip. I'm just doing it. That's just like the show clip. All right, go ahead. Do it again.
Starting point is 00:59:58 Smoking. That's good. Thank you. Ace Ventura. No. No, but you didn't know it, though. But it's... Smoking!
Starting point is 01:00:07 It's the mask. See, it's tricky. Amy, ready. Wilson! Okay. Go ahead. A castaway? That's right.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Boom. Lunchbox. Yeah. Excellent. Oh, I know that one. Go ahead. Excellent. Excellent.
Starting point is 01:00:33 What is it? You... You love that movie. My favorite movie from much of my heart. Yes. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Excellent. 69.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Amy. Shwing. Shwing. Okay. Go ahead. Waynesworld. Shwing. Shwing.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Ledgebugs. Fudge. Who? Pudge. Oh. Fudge. I don't know if I'm. I'm nailing that oppression.
Starting point is 01:01:11 It's pretty good. Thank you. Go ahead. Goonies. Eddie, you know that? Yeah. Christmas story. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Oh. Fuck. There you go. Yeah. He really said another word, but. Oh, it is? Yeah, he says that in the movie. Does it the TBS version?
Starting point is 01:01:30 No, no, no. He says it in the movie, but he's really, as a narrator, he's saying, I said the bad one, though. Okay. But that's what you hear in the movie? Yeah. Okay. Is that it? I like D?
Starting point is 01:01:39 Mm-hmm. And there's a big winner. Amy's a winner. There she goes again. That's right. We do have to catch everybody up as much as possible on our family feud experience. Yeah, that's pretty crazy. And Eddie doesn't know.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Nope. Mike D knows, right? No. That tell you who won? No. I didn't tell you who won? Morgan number two, do you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:03 Okay. She knows everything. I just head cold. All right. Sam Hunt. You know Sam Hunt's Canadian? No, he's not. I just kidding.
Starting point is 01:02:16 He's been in the sound. He's been Georgia doing, man. All right. Okay, so here's what happened. On Sunday, I was invited to play celebrity family feud, and they said, bring whoever you want. They're like, we don't care if you bring a family, you can bring any friends, you can just find people on the street. Show up and bring people. And I was like, all right, cool.
Starting point is 01:02:38 The world was my oyster, and I decided to take Amy and Lunchbox and John Party, the country artist. He's a friend of mine. And Lauren Elena, the country artist, who's a friend of mine. And so we all came from different places. I had been in California because I'd been shooting American Idol all last week. And Amy and Lunchbox came from Nashville. Lauren came from, I think, like North Dakota. And John Pardy came from California.
Starting point is 01:03:08 Like Northern California. They get a show. So, or Reno. Maybe it was Reno. Well, anyway, we're all there. We all get in, which, first of all, I was nervous because we're five different people coming from different places. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Merging together to be a team. And so we all get there and we show up to the lot where they shoot the show and they're like, okay, here are your name tags and they give you that big blue name tag. It's crazy. Eddie is a crazy.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Eddie wasn't there, so I'll talk to Eddie because they give you this big blue name tag and they go, usually we don't have to people keep name tags, but since it's celebrity, you get to keep it. You all kept them? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:41 That's pretty amazing. Can you keep yours? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, so we kept the name tags. They put you in a room and read you all the rules because it's official because there's money involved.
Starting point is 01:03:50 You're playing for charity. Right. And so you sit in a room with both teams, and we were playing against Andy Roddick, the tennis player, and Brooklyn Decker, his wife, who's the actress, and their mom and dad. And they were like, who do you want to play? And Andy's one of my best friends in life,
Starting point is 01:04:05 and I was like, Andy, and then Brooklyn, they're the same team. And they're both famous. Yeah. Brooklyn's probably more famous than Andy is at this point. Right. So we go up, and it's fun because all my friends are in the room, and then all my friends came to play.
Starting point is 01:04:17 So it was cool for me that I got to bring pretty much everybody. It's kind of a real cool experience. And so they read us the rules and then you walk out on the stage. It's pretty crazy to walk out, right? You see it all. So do they shoot it like it's live?
Starting point is 01:04:30 Like is it feel like you're watching the show but you're in it? Yes, and there's a studio audience. Yeah, everything. What? And so there's a big sign and you can see on my Instagram maybe it's not up there now.
Starting point is 01:04:41 But you know, it says Bobby Bones and Big Words. And they're said like Rodic Decker family and you're standing up and they go, and the Bobby Bones. family and then you turn around you walk down to the podium and so we walk down and yeah and you go and you go they ask question you go so you hit it man you know all that happens to like test it out make sure it works yeah and they're like only put one hand on it do not put two hands on it and so you do that they're and then you go and the show starts i'll say this i think that amy
Starting point is 01:05:09 will be the most entertaining person on the show oh yeah yeah i think amy wins as the most I can't say much else, but you take a big group of personalities, and I think Amy comes away as the one that people will talk about. Okay. Question. Yeah, go ahead. Do you think anything will get edited out? Like, it was so bad that it was like, ooh, we got to get that out of there. No, but there are times where a question, like, I gave a really stupid answer once, and they had to go into the people and be like, can we accept this?
Starting point is 01:05:38 Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. So, yeah, there's, that stuff would be. Where they have to go like the truck. That's the only thing that you don't know where they edit it out is like they would go, 100 people were surveyed, name a color, and I'm like, Apple. And they're like, I don't know, can we accept Apple?
Starting point is 01:05:53 And they go to the truck, can we accept Apple? And then they're like, okay, we can accept Apple. Okay, got you. They flip up. So. Steve Harvey's amazing. Steve Harvey? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Super cool. So funny. So cool. And they shoot, I think five shows a day. Yeah. For five days. And then they're done with the whole season. And so we.
Starting point is 01:06:13 Yeah. He doesn't mess around. We came on right after Chrissy Teigen and John Legend played the Vanderpump Rules team. Did you get to see any of that? Yeah, we watched on the monitors. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, so they walked off and we walked on. And Steve goes and changes clothes, and so he can come out in, you know, different suits.
Starting point is 01:06:26 It looks like a different show. Yeah. And he walks out and he's like, and he's funny, you know? And he talks to me and he goes, okay, who's your team? And I'm like, well, this is Amy and do the thing with Amy. They did a bit about us, right? Well, he kind of had this, like you could see on his cue card. It said something like.
Starting point is 01:06:43 Oh, do you see his key card? I didn't see his cue card. So what's crazy is he doesn't use like a teleprompter. He uses like a poster board. Someone's like handwriting it like really fast. Both sides though. With the camera? No,
Starting point is 01:06:54 not of the camera. Well, they have three of them. So there's one in the middle and there's one on each side. Who's the guy from Letterman that's the note? He's the Q car guy. So back in the day, yes, it was the same thing. Yeah, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:03 So it's like that. And he just would have little hints on there like, you know, Amy, co-hosts. Bobby at a restaurant said hi. They could call, they may edit out a part where he calls me Bobby Brown. Oh, did he? Oh, that was funny, though. Do you think they will? I don't know, but I stopped him.
Starting point is 01:07:17 He was like, and Bobby Brown, because people call me that all the time. I think he was saying, Amy met Bobby Brown at a restaurant. And I was like, whoa, Steve. I go, whoa, Steve. I know I can dance, but I'm not Bobby Brown. And so, yeah, I don't know if they're going to edit out because it's a 30-minute show. Are you happy with the overall performance of the team? We'll say it came down to the end.
Starting point is 01:07:37 Okay, okay. That's all right, all right. Yeah. See, I can't tell. I can't tell if I look at you if you guys want or not. Yeah, we can't, we're not giving anything away. But we all had matching jackets. I made us all jackets.
Starting point is 01:07:47 Yeah. It had our names on it, and the back said family fuse. But there's jean jackets? Yeah, black denim jackets. And so I don't want to have to worry about clothes. So people are so dressed that we wore the jackets. John Pardy was sick, sadly. Oh.
Starting point is 01:08:01 I don't know if you could tell on TV or not, but he was like. So I got like a cold. Yeah. So he was. That's rough. Lauren was super pumped. It was so crazy before you went on. You're just standing up there and you go and you go out of the podium.
Starting point is 01:08:12 and you walk up to the middle thing and you slam that button. Yeah. It's amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks for having us because it's like for sure one of the top, it just instantly becomes one of your top memories ever. I mean, some people make it to do way cooler things.
Starting point is 01:08:27 Or like marriage or kids, but mostly top. No, no. I mean, a little less. Okay. Yes. Take my kids out of the equation and marriage, blah, blah, blah. But it just becomes like a cool thing you never thought you would ever do. So it was cool.
Starting point is 01:08:39 Yeah. Yeah, you're welcome. Yeah, it was cool. Listen, I was surprised one, they invited me on to Celebrity Family Feud, right? Yeah, Celebrity. Right. Like, oh, yeah, because even my... We're stretching pretty hard.
Starting point is 01:08:51 My hair makeup people are like, so what do you do? I was like, oh, well, I'm here with the celebrity, the da-da-da-da. And then they're like, and so what does he do? Yeah. They're like, was Tom Hanks busy? Yeah. You know who played after us? We're the chain smokers in five seconds in summer.
Starting point is 01:09:05 Oh, that's cool. So it was like, yeah, I was guys last one. Yeah, those are very people. To be fair, to be fair, I have a whole. deal with ABC and they want to make me a celebrity. Okay, okay. Between Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. You know, I'm not. No, no. You, yeah, you're
Starting point is 01:09:19 there. You just, like, the people playing John and Chrissy were the Vanderpumps. I don't know who that is, though. Okay, so Lisa Vanderpump, she's a real housewife. Oh, that's who that is. She got a spinoff show. She had a dog with her. Yes, that's her dog. It's like always on TV. But the people
Starting point is 01:09:37 she had up with her, they work in her restaurant bar and they have a reality show on Bravo together. So, I mean, yeah. Everybody was drunk. No, our teams weren't. Not us. Everybody around us, I think, had been drinking hard. Open bar on the back?
Starting point is 01:09:49 They just, like, have fun. They were like, just go out and, because they can edit and also, who cares. Right. It was a celebrity family food. And you guys didn't have a drop, Amy, lunchbox? No. Huh. No, because we were like.
Starting point is 01:10:00 You guys, are you serious? No, we was like our life dream to play family feud. And you got to do it. Yeah, it was cool. I got really, like Lauren and John sent me a really nice message yesterday going, man, you could have picked anybody. Thanks for picking us. So it was cool.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Were you guys nervous at all? I wasn't because I, dude, once you have to dance on TV. Oh, that's true. You've done all that. Oh, yeah, he has all that. Yes. I was so nervous. I was having stomach pains.
Starting point is 01:10:19 The camera's making nervous or the people? Once we got out there, it was fine. It was more the hours leading up to it. Oh, yeah. Like when we were in the hotel and, like, I was, like, trying to study and figure stuff out, and I just had sharp pains. And I don't know. I'll say this.
Starting point is 01:10:32 Something happened that has never happened in the history of celebrity family feud on our show. Oh, yeah. Someone pass out? Who knows? Oh. Can't say you that, but something happened. Definitely never happened. And we don't know when it's going to air because I think they edit them and then they...
Starting point is 01:10:44 Definitely never happened. Start inserting, like, shows and slots. I'm not sure what, you know, when goes where. I will let people know as soon as it goes. All right. So, but yeah, it was... Yeah, because then the sooner people know, then they can find out what happened that's never happened before. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:00 Once it airs. Will you tell me off air? Uh-huh. Okay. If you want to know. I do want to know. I do want to know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:04 I didn't know whether to believe them if it had never happened before. Because they told you as soon as it happened, that's never happened? Oh, but, oh, yeah. Steve even said, and then, but then, you know, I'm like, is he just saying that? But then later, the producer said, no, Steve's serious. This has never happened. Yeah. What did you guys do?
Starting point is 01:11:22 I'm so curious now. But yeah, it was really cool, man. It was like one of those things where you look out and you go, man, we're playing family few. Yeah. I've been watching the show my whole life. And Steve Harvey smell good. Oh, yeah? Yeah, man, it was cool.
Starting point is 01:11:34 And I don't know. It was good. It was just cool. Again, it was cool for me because I got. I like to be able to create things for people to do. It was cool that I got to like invited me to do it and I got to bring like two sets of friends up. That is cool. That is cool.
Starting point is 01:11:47 Because you already done all that. You've been on TV before. You've been on TV before. Not family food though. That was awesome. Well, anyway, that's what we can say. Amy's there anything else we should sit? It's lunchbox nervous to talk right now?
Starting point is 01:11:57 Yeah, he'll have to reveal something. Okay. I'm nervous for you to talk as well. I know. That's why I'm just, I kind of repeat what you say it. Like you said, something's never been done before. And I'm like, oh, yeah, something's never been done before. Can I add so many questions?
Starting point is 01:12:09 Ask one question. Yeah. And I'll see if I can answer. Do you have any question in the glass room about this? I know some people were asked. They wanted to ask a question. For celebrity family feud, anything you want to know over there? No, I just wanted to know when it will air, but we don't know?
Starting point is 01:12:21 No, we don't know yet. I mean, I have the million-dollar question. Go ahead. Did you win? I can't answer that. Ask a question. That's what everyone wants to know. No, it's not.
Starting point is 01:12:30 It's more about the, like, I used to think that too. But you're just going to watch. It's a mess. Okay. It's such a mess I was watching Chris's team play the Vanderpenter Okay I got one
Starting point is 01:12:40 I got one And you're watching I don't even know who won Eddie I was just watching it What is happening The whole time Yeah
Starting point is 01:12:45 Did any of you guys get in trouble Um Like did they say hey You can't do that I don't think so huh Oh yeah No What
Starting point is 01:12:53 Yes Twice Two times Twice you can't do that I'm gonna tell you You guys are gonna see Amy on this show Amy what did you do
Starting point is 01:13:00 Amy's Hey that was in my fault No no That just one of the times If they leave it in Oh my good Goodness. All we're going to talk about is Amy the next day.
Starting point is 01:13:09 Amy, what? Did you break something? Amy broke something. Amy broke the button. She trimmed and knocked the whole tower over. No, but I did go on stage with my gum, and I thought we were just doing like a run through and we'd go back to the dressing room, but they were like, no, no, no, this is it. Like, we're about to go.
Starting point is 01:13:26 Five, four, three, two. And I was like, what? And I had gum in my mouth and I didn't want to swallow it. So I stuck it behind my name tag in between my name tag and my denim jacket. And it ended up being like, so when you see us on stage. I mean, everything probably looks. looks good on stage, we were a hot mess. Like, last minute I'm, like, tucking gum behind my name tag.
Starting point is 01:13:42 It was gross. I think I gave the stupid his answer? Oh, for sure. Out of the gate. Like, how stupid? I didn't hear the question. Like, does a hand of the face stupid? Like, oh, I can't believe I said that.
Starting point is 01:13:53 I didn't really hear, I didn't hear the question. I didn't answer something that made no sense. Oh, no. Yeah. It's not YouTubey. Okay. I was totally, I was like, I mean, it was funny. That'd be cool.
Starting point is 01:14:02 When do you guys go viral for something? Yeah, boy. Well, I am against it. No, I could not. No. No, no. All right, then we're done. That's our family for Utah.

Starting point is 01:17:49 With Amy. Tell me something good. So there's this guy, David, 34 years old. He was born with hearing loss. and he decided to get this cochlear implant restored in his hearing before his wedding. It didn't really tell anybody. So he's gone his whole life not being able to hear things. And he decided to do it before his wedding so that when he said, I do, to his bride Courtney,
Starting point is 01:18:15 he could hear the vows and the cheers from family and friends for the first time. That's cool. Also, my mind goes, well, the rest of the family doesn't know we can hear now. So they're probably like, yeah, David looked like a scoover. Isn't that suit? And he hears him for the first time? Yeah, I don't know that he can hear totally clear things like that, but he just wanted to hear, like, a lot of the response.
Starting point is 01:18:36 And it's such a special day. So at 34 years old, he decided this was a good enough reason to finally have the surgery. That's good. That was Tell Me Something Good. That was Tell Me Something Good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let me go.
Starting point is 01:18:51 This is a Bobby Bones show. That's right. Now, here he is. Turn here. Come, Bobby. This girl had no idea she was pregnant, and she goes into the hospital, and she was suffering from seizures, and she got put into a coma. And she woke up, didn't know she was pregnant, but she woke up with a new baby.
Starting point is 01:19:12 Oh, my goodness. So she gave birth, wow. Yeah. Wow. Imagine that. You don't even know you're pregnant. No. And then you close your eyes, and then you wake up, and you have a new baby.
Starting point is 01:19:24 Wow. She had 18 years old. had no idea she was pregnant. She wasn't feeling well. Taken to the hospital with having seizures. And her unborn baby had also been hidden in one of two wombs. A rare condition called uterus did it falfus. I'm sure I nailed that.
Starting point is 01:19:42 Oh my goodness. One of the wounds was continuing to menstruate while the other was growing her baby. So she was still getting a period? She had two wounds. Whoa. She was placed into a medically induced coma because of her seizures because they wanted to shut those down. And then all of a sudden,
Starting point is 01:19:57 she got a baby and they had to deliver the baby while she was in a coma she woke up four days later the baby's healthy you wouldn't believe that right like they'd give you the baby and be like it's not mine
Starting point is 01:20:07 like what? That's not my baby take it what you're talking about? Show me a video surely someone needs a story this because I don't believe it that's wild
Starting point is 01:20:18 wow well yeah there's that you guys can call us if you want 87777 Bobby you take your son to hip hop class was that last night it's last night
Starting point is 01:20:30 Amy has an 8 year old son and she's trying to first of all they came over a year or so ago from Haiti so they're in homeschool until they can catch up with what like they're at their grade level yeah and they're close they're getting there
Starting point is 01:20:42 we're making progress so because it's like a homeschooling is not the right thing because it's not at home they go to a teacher but it's one on one it's like as if they're getting that kind of attention
Starting point is 01:20:51 so because of that those days are a bit shorter and you have to find things for them to do and you've put your son in hip-hop class. Yes. And I have to say, I know it was already, it's only night two,
Starting point is 01:21:03 but he's already getting better. Yeah. And I can already see them learning more and he's like, you know, I think getting more comfortable with some of the people. I saw him and a boy had to go out there and like do,
Starting point is 01:21:14 there's like this glass window where parents can watch, you know, and they had to do like a little routine of what they learned. And there's some people in the class a little bit more advanced. But I look at then, I'm like,
Starting point is 01:21:24 okay, so a few months. more weeks. He might look like that. Does he like it? He loves it. Yes, he comes out with his water bottle and he's like chugging it. He's like, what's up, mom? And then he wants to say bye to this class. He's like, can I go over here and say bye to this person? And I was like, buddy, we got to go. Like, it's cold. We've got to eat dinner. We got to get home. Can anybody go? Well, can I go? You should go? You should totally go. Can I go with him? I don't want to go just do myself. I'm already, yeah, Kramer on Seinfeld when he does cries against all the kids. I'll have to see what the age limit is
Starting point is 01:21:57 I would go and do a class with them That would be so fun He would die If Bobby showed up to class I know I want to do that with him Hey And I'm dance champ They're like guys
Starting point is 01:22:09 They're like start that's wrong No it's not I'm the champ Y'all ever seen the chacha Watch this I am the captain now I'm glad he likes it Is your daughter like ballet Yeah she loves it
Starting point is 01:22:23 She wants to do it every night. I'm like, just once a week for now. Oh, she wants to go to class every night. Mm-hmm. She really enjoyed it. So her second class will be tomorrow night. So, I mean, it's all still new. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:33 But we'll see what happens. Cheyenne in Oklahoma, you're on. Hey, Bobby. What's up? Hey, I just want to know, since you were on Dancing with the Stars and Amy's son has taken hip-hop lessons, has he ever asked you for dance lessons? No, I don't think so, huh?
Starting point is 01:22:47 I try to teach him a move once. He just laughed the whole time because he's out of these stupid. Well, I mean, you're a great dancer, on dancing with the stars. So, I mean, I would want some dance lessons from you. And, I mean, he's cute, and he's a little kid, and I mean, he seems like he's obsessed with you. So you can show him a couple of
Starting point is 01:23:03 moves. What you think about that? Yeah. I mean... I sent him back to his class when everything wrong. His teacher's like, what are you doing? He was like, Bobby Bones, dancing with the stars. We're not doing the Argentine tango. That's good. He likes it, though. I know. It makes me happy. I love that they're finding
Starting point is 01:23:21 things. Now we've got to move on to music. What you mean? Well, they were still working on, like, music lessons. Like, it's almost like, if you're kids in school, they have opportunity for PE, like this dance is like their PE. Then kids can take music class. So now we've got this music place that we're going to, but the kids haven't decided what they want to play. My daughter's back and forth between the piano and the flute. No, it's piano.
Starting point is 01:23:45 Okay. Piano. If she doesn't care, piano. Okay. Universally, life will always come in handy. I wish I had learned. Boom. And then Stevenson wants to play the ukulele.
Starting point is 01:23:55 Nope. I love it. That's great. Why? Because it's a guitar that fits him? Yeah. It's a little guitar. Because he already has one and he already plays it and he thinks he's already making jams.
Starting point is 01:24:06 I mean, maybe ukulele will turn a guitar though. Yeah, possibly. You want him to play the most universally broad instrument they can play because that will translate into other instruments if they ever want to go down that road. That was my biggest regret. Well, I couldn't afford to be in band because you had to pay for an instrument, but I would have loved to have been in band. people would go and buy horns and I'd be like
Starting point is 01:24:23 dang so I don't play basketball I couldn't afford the shoes so it's like I would yeah let them play something mass appeal the piano are you kidding me I took piano lessons as an adult I was like
Starting point is 01:24:35 clank clank clank yeah it's tough man that's cool I'm glad they like it it's a bobby bones show hey so something I forgot to mention about when we played family feud was that the game before us was Chrissy Teagan and John Legend
Starting point is 01:24:48 playing the Vanderpump rules people and They'd mentioned that, but they were coming off and we were going on. And Chrissy Teigen goes up to Amy. I was in hair makeup. Yeah, and that's what? Well, from the back, all she saw was short hair. And my haircut does look like Brooklyn Decker's haircut.
Starting point is 01:25:04 And she totally walked down the hallway, passed the door, saw through the mirror, then came back in and was like, walked in and came up to talk to me thinking that I was Brooklyn. And she looked at my face and realized I was not. And she kind of just, like, stared at me, didn't say anything. And then, like, struck her shoulders and turned her way and walked away. Love it. And then the hair-making person was like, oh, what just happened? And that was, like, pretty sure she just thought I was someone else. But, I mean, she came into the entire room.
Starting point is 01:25:34 It wasn't, like, a casual pass-by. It was like, she came up to talk to me and be like, what up? And then she, like, I shocked her. It's like, she didn't know what to do. She wasn't even, like, thought you were somebody else. She just like, huh, okay. And then walked out. She shrugged her shoulders.
Starting point is 01:25:48 That's so funny. Yeah. I was like, okay, not who I thought. Goodbye. I'm not going to get stuck in here talking to some people, I don't know. Bye. I mean, after that show air, we'll have so many stories to tell. We're just on lockdown because we just can't even insinuate what happened.
Starting point is 01:26:01 I told Eddie what happened during the break. Do you think people are going to be entertained? Uh-huh. That's all I got to say about that. Good. See, it's hard to talk. You don't want to say too much. I'll tell you what else.
Starting point is 01:26:11 I did the Velvet's Edge podcast with Kelly Henderson. She interviewed me for like an hour and 15 minutes. I didn't know that was going to generate so much controversy. I don't know. I was saying things people would be like ooh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:24 And then let me say this too. You can check it out. Velvet's Edge with Kelly Henderson. Like the word Velvet's Edge. I was a little irritated at the beginning of it because one we started an hour late
Starting point is 01:26:35 and two I was supposed to eat that was a little hangary at the beginning of it. And then at the end of it. Oh, so disclaimer. Yeah, disclaimer, I was a little hangary at the end. But yeah, people were like,
Starting point is 01:26:43 I can't believe you said that. But you can check it out. The Velvet's Edge podcast with Kelms. Kelly Henderson. Coming up in a second. I don't know. Do you think, what do you want to do next? Well, I can mention briefly what happened. That's like the craziest thing that's ever happened to me. Okay. But I don't know if I, I don't, you know what I'm talking about? Okay. I can do the flight attendant update. Well, I want the flight attendant update. Um, I get some new shows I'm watching. I need new shows.
Starting point is 01:27:09 I got a whole list of things here. Okay, then I need all three of those things. Maybe. Amy saw some celebrities in Los Angeles and like Google's weird things to find. It was the craziest thing to watch Amy Google people. Sometimes you can't figure out who it is Her style to find out who these celebrities are It's so weird We were sitting next to a celebrity on the airplane yesterday And Amy's like And I found him right away, didn't I?
Starting point is 01:27:27 She's so weird how she Googles things We can talk about it. We got lots to talk about it. Okay, all right, but do that. What do you want to do next of all of that? Flight attendant. Okay. Then something crazy happened to you.
Starting point is 01:27:38 Okay. Then TV shows. But what about your stuff? Then how Amy Google's people. All right, all right, right. Last week, I was talking about being on a flight and I was kind of getting ridiculed by you guys on the show because I couldn't tell if this girl was flirting with me or not. I assumed she wasn't because who does, right?
Starting point is 01:27:58 And so I'm on the flight and this flight attendant's doing the thing with her eyes where she takes two fingers, puts in her eyes, points at me. I'm watching you. Yeah, that thing. I don't think much of it. I'm like, I don't know. Does she think I'm stealing nuts? Yeah, or you're not buckled up? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:11 And so the guy next to me, older gentleman, says, I think the flight attendant's flirting with you. I mean, I love it. An old guy had to tell you this. And I'm like, really? And he's like, yeah. So I didn't quite know how to, again, typical me. I don't even know how to talk to somebody in that scenario. Do I yell over the other passengers?
Starting point is 01:28:28 Hey, you're cute. Can I get water? So I don't know. And so I just write on a note and I go, there's a napkin. They give me a little napkin. And I write, because they say, hey, give us a review if you did a good job. So I ride on the napkin, my review, you're the best flight attendant I ever had. And I put my Instagram name.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Got up my phone number. because then what if she posts it online? Yeah. I don't people have my phone number. That was my reasoning. So I hand it to her the end. And I tell you guys this story, right? And that's where it ended?
Starting point is 01:28:55 That's it. Okay. So we have the best listeners, right? But sometimes they're a little too good. Because what happens is they tracked my flight. They went to the Delta thing, found the crew. What? Found her.
Starting point is 01:29:10 That's so crazy to me that that was possible. Me too, right? And so all of a sudden, she doesn't know me or the show. All of a sudden she's going to hit up going, what? Who? Huh? And she's just getting inundated by people going that's Bobby. Wow. She's again, no idea who I am, right? That I do a radio show.
Starting point is 01:29:29 Business listeners are good. Well, so, like a day later, I get a direct message on my, from my Instagram. And it's her going, hey, I guess I'm reaching out. And I'm like, what up? So she kept the napkin and took a picture of it. And I ended up posting it. I think Amanda story because she sent it over to you see it yeah I saw it funny huh I mean stupid I'm stupid it wasn't smooth I liked it you did yeah it's good it's unique did you see it Amy no
Starting point is 01:29:57 was it was it better than um you thought Eddie it was good except the only thing is when you wrote the handle doesn't it doesn't it doesn't look like mr. Bobby bones right there was something I saw it was like it couldn't like it looks like it could be another name Collie I really don't know that I know your handwriting now that I'm looking at it because you know oh do you work on like I see you right that's right that's I don't write much. I mean, that's like you really were working hard. That's neat handwriting.
Starting point is 01:30:22 Thank you very much. You don't write that way. Well, so we start direct messaging and then we FaceTime. Two times? FaceTime? Yeah. Okay. Again, she doesn't like.
Starting point is 01:30:32 Like regular talking or like FaceTime? We didn't work naked. Okay. Just checking? No. No, it's not like, just check. I don't know how you all do with these things. Oh my gosh. That's the, that's the napkin that I, yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:43 Correct. Yes. That you talked about in the pile. In the pile. You used it. Yeah, he did. What was the napkinet out they gave me? And it was Delta.
Starting point is 01:30:50 That's so funny. He used it for what it was really meant for. I know. So it says, put your name on it, so I didn't put my name on there. So anyway, she does far away, but she's like, they fly all over the world, all over the country. Yeah. And she's like, I'll just get a layover in Nashville and we'll go out sometime soon. Next couple weeks or so.
Starting point is 01:31:07 Memphis time. And I was like, cool. So that's the update. Okay. Wow. Y'all are going to go on a date. That's huge. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:31:13 You always wanted to meet your wife on an airplane. Oh, that's true. He has. He always thought he'd be Southwest in an empty seat and not a flight attendant on Delta, but whatever. Just when you think you have life figured out. And she's got the perfect job for you because she's like busy and away a lot. Well, listen, let's not. You would love that.
Starting point is 01:31:33 Let's not get crazy, but that's the update. I just wanted to give listeners. But they wouldn't track her down. But people go, why don't you put people on your Instagram story if we don't know who they are? That's why. Because I had a friend I was with and I covered her face with an emoji. Just because I was like, she doesn't want any part of being on its story because then people will track her down. But I understand the curiosity.
Starting point is 01:31:53 Like right now, I want to see her. Let me see her. Oh, you haven't seen her? Nope. Oh, she's very pretty. Is she? I'll show her to you during the break. So I get it.
Starting point is 01:32:00 Like, I want to see. Like, people are listening. Like, I want to see this girl. Would you track her down? No, no, no. That's kind of, it's next level. They found the flight. Found the crew.
Starting point is 01:32:09 Reached out. Like multiple people did. I mean, yeah. So anyway, that's the update there. All good. And a lot of times, I do. fly southwest, but because Idol flies me a different airline and Family Feud
Starting point is 01:32:21 flew as, I guess they flew as American. I flew out for Idol and Delta and back on American. But whenever you fly for a TV show, I had them put that they have to fly as all first class, right? In a contract you can make those things like that. And so they flew me, Amy Lunchbox, all first class.
Starting point is 01:32:37 But you're not talking to a group people that grew up flying first class. No, they brought lunchbox food and he tried to pay for it. That's what he said. It was my first time ever. And so the guy came and he said, hey, for the dinner option, we have two things. We have chicken or a chili. And I said, well, how much is it?
Starting point is 01:32:54 And the flight attendant dude just kind of laughed. He chuckled. I don't know if he laughed, but he kind of, and he goes, it's free, man. I was like, I'll take it. And so I got a free meal. It was awesome. Isn't it cool? It was so cool.
Starting point is 01:33:06 And then there was TVs in the headsets, like where you can watch TV. And I have to be honest. I was so embarrassed after asking how much it was for the food that I was embarrassed to ask where you plug in your headphones. So I spent half the flight looking at other people trying to figure out where the headphones plugged in. And I wouldn't ask anybody because I was too, I had already embarrassed myself once. I was like, feeling around. I was like, oh, there's something.
Starting point is 01:33:28 No, that's a screw. Dang it. Okay. That's her leg. And the lady next to me didn't have headphones in, so I couldn't just look at hers. It was a very awkward situation. Yeah. And he loves that VIP style.
Starting point is 01:33:39 Oh, it felt so cool. Because you're the first one on the plane. And so everybody getting on the plane is looking at you like. How was it? And they're like, what are you doing? I'm like, yeah, what up? First class, you go on back there. Go on back there because I'm first class.
Starting point is 01:33:52 I always feel the opposite. Oh, he felt so cool. That's awkward. I look down. Yeah, I'm like, sorry, sorry. I'm just rubbing into their face. I'm sorry, I'm like, I'm just here because American Idol made me fly her. I'm like, I like, I like, I can sleep.
Starting point is 01:34:05 But I'm always like, no, I'm sorry. It boards too early. Like yesterday, I boarded like way late. All the common folks. Oh, geez. Hey, what happens in there when they shut the curtain? What do you guys do? Party man.
Starting point is 01:34:18 Oh, yeah! Really? It turns out to a big naked party. Wow. Yeah, dude. I was wondering that. Yeah. Oh, so cool, dude.
Starting point is 01:34:28 But, yeah, when they get on, they're jealous of you because you're just staring at and I'm like, yeah, look at me. Lunchbox was telling everybody he was going to Family Feud. Everybody. Here. How's going, man? All good. I just need a big water.
Starting point is 01:34:38 I got a flight to LA, you know, celebrity family feud. That's where I'm going. You want me to sign that receipt or anything? You want an autograph? No? I mean, I'm going on a celebrity family feud. You want a picture? All right, cool, man.
Starting point is 01:34:49 Take it easy. Where was this? At the airport. Amy said, no one was depressed. No, like nobody. There were times where I just had to walk away because I didn't want people to think that, like, I was with him. How's going?
Starting point is 01:35:03 I just heading to L.A. Celebrity Family Feud, you know. Nice, nice. Yeah, you need me to sign something or anything. No autograph, but nothing. All right, just look for me on that few. Family Feud. Celebrity style.
Starting point is 01:35:15 So embarrassing. A little bit, huh? I think I got it all, right? That's all I need for Celebrity Family Feud, Los Angeles. Uh-oh. Just yelling at the name of the city. You can tell, uh. Big deal.
Starting point is 01:35:29 Out of paper. You're not going nowhere. Yeah, I'm just going to Celebrity Family Feud. Big deal. Well, you have a good time and time. Thank you. Thank you. VIP coming through.
Starting point is 01:35:38 There you know. You got to let him know. We don't get out much. No. What's the point of going on Celebrity Family Feud? you're not going to let everybody know about it. Actually going to play the game. Just like getting to experience at yourself.
Starting point is 01:35:51 Nobody cares. They're like, okay, honey. You have fun now. You want me to sign that? She's special. Aw. All right. At Bobby Bone Show on Instagram. So last week I went back to California to do American Idol, which I'm done now until
Starting point is 01:36:07 a live show starts March 3rd, but it's a bunch of taped shows. And because they do the first one, they go to the cities. You know, they do this audition in cities. I didn't do those because I was still dancing. But then when it goes to Hollywood, I joined the show. But we were doing that duets round, which was cool because a lot of celebrities came to sing with the contestants. And Brett Young came, who I knew, and that was fun. And he did, I don't think, whatever, he did like, Mercy.
Starting point is 01:36:33 I think he did in case you didn't know. Two good ones. Yeah. So it was nice to have him there because I know him. It got to hang out with Jason Maraz. Awesome. That's awesome. Did you see my Instagram?
Starting point is 01:36:43 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, Jason Maddo is cool. I got to hang out with a little bit Chris Isaac, you know. I fall in love. Julia Michaels. It was cool. That job, I get to do some cool stuff.
Starting point is 01:36:56 Did you meet Ben Harper? Yeah, but here's the thing. I can't talk too much about it because I don't know what they let me to do, but I hosted an episode of American Idol last minute. So insane. It was so insane because something happened with Ryan and they were like, we need you to host the show. And I was like, what?
Starting point is 01:37:11 Is this a joke? And they were like, no. So I hosted an entire episode. of American Idol that comes up. It's crazy. Yeah. And so, but Ben Harper was on that,
Starting point is 01:37:19 that episode playing. And because of that, I didn't get to spend time with them off sight. So I only got to talk with him as I was on camera. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:26 So we're going to see your encounter with him. Yeah. Okay, okay. Yeah. I don't know what I can say, but I host an American Idol, which is nuts. And I remember being on the stage
Starting point is 01:37:34 in the middle of hosting it because I was, Luke's out there, Luke Bryan's, one of the judges, and Lionel Richie and Katie Perry. And I know Luke well. I know Lionel pretty well. I know Katie a little bit, right?
Starting point is 01:37:45 Just from the show, I know Katie Perry. But Lionel will pull me at the side. He goes, Bobby, I remember back when I was on the Commodore, it's 1967. Dick Clark said, I need you to come on last minute and play in advance for a bit. And he goes, and I did it. And you know what? I did a good job, and the rest is history. He says, and go do a good job.
Starting point is 01:38:02 And I was like, Lionel Ridge and get me a Pep Dog. That's amazing. That's legit. Yeah, it was cool. So, yeah. That's like the, what's that called, Wally Pip. Wow. Wow, she remember that.
Starting point is 01:38:13 Well, because I used to tell it to her all the time. Okay. She would be like, I'm going to leave. I'm going to be like, don't get Wally Pipped. Because Wally Pippe played first base in for the Yankees. He got hurt. Lou Geary came in. And we all know Lou Gehry.
Starting point is 01:38:23 The Hall of Famer never gave the job of it because he just crushed it. Damn. But the more, because Eddie hit me last night was like, you should probably go Drew Bledsoe, Tom Brady, instead of Wally Pip now. Yeah, Drew Bletso gets hurt. Tom Brady takes over. We all know Tom Brady. Drew Bletso was a really good quarterback. Oh, it's like a more.
Starting point is 01:38:40 Yes. But that's not going to happen. That's not going to happen here. Right, because Ryan's the greatest. What do you mean? No, Wally Pitt? No. Ryan's coming back.
Starting point is 01:38:49 Ryan's already back. Well, I texted it in and I was like, everybody will. And so, yeah. Just checking. Anybody's sick? Because I'm ready. But I was ready. I've been waiting forever for that show.
Starting point is 01:38:58 That's huge. Yeah, and so I hosted an episode of American Out. It was really nice of them to even let me do it. And, you know, Ryan's good. Everything's good. So, yeah, it was crazy. I wish. I can't wait to watch.
Starting point is 01:39:10 I wish. I can say more. I don't know what I can say right now. I know the terrible story. Let's see. Here is Sarah in Texas. Hey, Sarah. Hi, Bobby.
Starting point is 01:39:19 Thank you for being on the phone. What's going on? I was just wondering why you didn't take Eddie and Ray to go to a family feud with y'all. Well, Morgan number two would have went ahead of Ray in the hierarchy of show. They really only wanted me to bring one person from the radio show. But because the lunchbox, his dream was, I was like, no, I'm going to bring two. So it really would have just been Amy and I and three country stars. but then so
Starting point is 01:39:43 lunchbox's been on the show longer and it was his dream and that's why okay all right makes sense Raymondo you wouldn't have made the cup buddy that's cool I really probably wouldn't have
Starting point is 01:39:51 appreciated it that much right it was totally an appreciation thing I don't even really watch the show that much and I mean like as a family well I'd say you guys are more family I'd just say Eddie go ahead of me so
Starting point is 01:40:02 yeah it would be me then Amy then Lunchbox then Eddie then Morgan number two I'd be top 10 Then Ray Mundo. Ben Ray, yeah. Toy in the front.
Starting point is 01:40:16 Maybe we take Mike D, Mike D. Mike D. He just goes to be quiet. Why, Mike. Let's go to Mike D. Mike D. What is your answer? Uh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:26 So, anyway. Oh. They're like, anything, Mike D? Survey says, Crickets Bings! Yeah! Ten answers on the board. What's a great bait for fish?
Starting point is 01:40:37 Got him! There it is. That's, that's. That's why. How's that answer? That's a good answer. I was getting a lot of that. Like, why didn't you take Eddie?
Starting point is 01:40:50 Yeah. I mean, whatever. I was like, look, Bones makes his decisions, and I just kind of roll with it. Like, if it's my turn to go, I go. If I'm not, hey, stay ready, never got to get ready, right? Our boss sent a text message to, I think, all four of us. I guess our Nashville program director. And it was like, hey, good luck on the show, and Eddie was on it.
Starting point is 01:41:08 And so. I will lie if I said, like, I didn't like, I would look at social media and be like, oh, I wish I was there. On the email for the denim jacket fitting. Oh, that's right. Yeah, I got emails like, hey, we're going to get fitted for. And I was like, oh, cool, we're getting Eddie a jacket. That's thoughtful.
Starting point is 01:41:22 And then. And I was like, Eddie, he's like, Eddie asked me off mic once. He goes, am I going? Because I kept getting these calls and emails. And like, am I supposed to get fitted here? And I was like, no, dude, you're not going. Okay. I'm like, maybe he's going to surprise me later.
Starting point is 01:41:38 Yeah, no. No. Hey, whatever, dude. It's all good. Our program director in Nashville sent a text to me, Amy, Lunchbox, and Eddie going, good luck I'm Family Feud. And so I took offline to him and I goes, hey, Eddie's not on. So, I did the teeth emoji.
Starting point is 01:41:52 The teeth emoji. It's all good. It's all love. Yeah. But you just got beat out in Lunchbox Family for 15 years. No, I get that. Lunch. I mean, this is a dream, dude.
Starting point is 01:42:03 Yeah. And it was his dream. And he sounded like he had fun. So. Next time. Will there be a next time? I shouldn't say next time. Maybe next time.
Starting point is 01:42:10 Oh, thanks. Okay. I want to promise anything. I won't hold my breath. Hold your breath, though. That'd be fine. Well, like next game show. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:16 Oh, okay. Like Price is right. Got it. Cool. Dawn and North Carolina, you're on. How are you? Hey, I'm great. How are you guys?
Starting point is 01:42:22 I'm really good. Hey, thank you for calling. What do you want to say? Well, first of all, gosh, so many things. But today, what I was saying was, thanks so much for the Taco Bell scholarship information. Yeah. I have two kids going to college, and it's crazy trying to pay. I also have another one in high school.
Starting point is 01:42:39 So maybe we'll even go on family school. feud and try to win. There you go. Come on. There. Yeah. All right. Anything else?
Starting point is 01:42:46 We also think you're a snack. That's what the girls in Carpull say. A snack? I drive high school. Yeah, that's like the latest things that the girls say in high school that if the guy is a catch, he's a snack. Yeah, like a bag of chips. Oh.
Starting point is 01:43:02 You heard that? No, Bobby. I have not heard snack. I have not been hanging out with high schoolers. Have you? Snack. You heard, Bobby's a snack. Yes, yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:11 You've a snack? You haven't heard, even heard. Mike, have you heard that? Yeah, that's a pretty good. No, this is what Amy does. She makes me feel dumb because I'm like, have you heard of post my love? No, they've never heard of that.
Starting point is 01:43:20 But then Amy's over here going, or Cardi B. That was another one. I was like, yeah, Carty B. No, you did it. And Amy was like, no, no, no, no. And then all of a sudden it comes around and she's like, I'm the biggest fan. Oh, Kuh.
Starting point is 01:43:31 Okay, well, now I'll start using snack. She's going to be like, and I'm going to eat. Anybody hungry? Yeah. Well, Don, I think. Did you hear my story about the napkin and the flight attendant? Yeah, yeah. I think that's great, too.
Starting point is 01:43:44 My husband, I've been married 25 years, and my husband used to write notes to me on napkins back in the old days, and I still keep them, actually. They're so authentic. I love it. Well, thank you very much. I appreciate that call. Yes.
Starting point is 01:43:59 Thank you. Yeah, you too. See you later. You should want to be someone's meal, not their snack. Oh, boy. Like the whole dinner? Dinner. Okay.
Starting point is 01:44:07 Entree? Whatever. She'll use it tomorrow, watch it. Yeah, yeah, no. It'll be integrated right into it. Then she'll look at us. Like, what do you mean? You don't use this?
Starting point is 01:44:19 Everybody's using snacks. That's not even new, though. Morgan Over 2ndy, 25. Snack's not new, is it? No. Okay, now everybody's cool. Got it. Everybody but you.
Starting point is 01:44:30 Num num num num. You know I think that Walking Dead is going to happen at some point, right? Oh, like, to us in real life. We're going to be zombies. Like humans? How? How is that going to happen? I'm glad you asked. There's a story. I mean, Eddie, something takes over in our brains and we can't figure it out.
Starting point is 01:44:48 Well, you're dead. So we have to die first. So people who eat deer meat could be at risk of contracting a deadly infectious disease that is spreading across the animal populations. It's the zombie deer disease. Oh, crap. It's called chronic wasting disease, CWD. It has affected deer, elk, and moose. The disease attacks tissue, including brain and spinal cord.
Starting point is 01:45:09 and even after they're dead they are up moving around Whoa Yeah Up to 15,000 affected animals written each year A number that could rise And
Starting point is 01:45:20 There are no documented cases In humans yet But research shows it can't be transmitted But there are zombie deer out there Yeah right And moose I don't know how much They're actually doing
Starting point is 01:45:31 But yeah They're like still moving around But if you're out If you put them in the head zombie babies. Okay. What? You hit them in the head.
Starting point is 01:45:41 Well, that's the TV show. You know, I haven't caught up. I lost. I jumped out halfway through. I know. Actually, so that's something I could go back to. I was looking for something to watch the other day. So I have Walking Dead.
Starting point is 01:45:53 Yeah, I have Walking Dead too. There's just so much out there. I just don't even know where I left off, though. I know. And then Friday Night Lights, I could watch. Yeah. It's like, all this new stuff. Oh.
Starting point is 01:46:04 And I'm going to go watch Friday Night Lights. Yes, you are. You have to. I don't know. I watch Perfect Strangers with Balkebar Talking Moves while I'm at. it, stop. No, no, no. It's not the same thing.
Starting point is 01:46:11 Friday Night Lights is worth it, and you're not going that far back. I mean, Friday Night Lights could come out right now and still be relevant. But Perfect Strangers was really good. Don't be ridiculous. Balky. Yeah. So I was with Amy. Over the weekend, we fled to California to do the family feud.
Starting point is 01:46:27 And she Googles, like, she would see celebrities, right? We're not very cool when it comes to seeing people we don't normally get to see. Like in Nashville, we get to see everybody. It's cool for us because a lot of our friends are country music. but like LA celebrities we don't see and so we're on the airplane and Amy's like that's somebody famous right there it's like this little guy, little old guy
Starting point is 01:46:45 I recognized him right away but I didn't know Tell him what you googled From what? So he's really short and he's really old And he's white Tell how much you googled Short old or white I googled short old white man famous
Starting point is 01:46:58 And he popped up It's the first one Hold on Yes and I found him Leslie Jordan from Will and Grace He's like the little guy And he's been in other things too but he was sitting right next to us.
Starting point is 01:47:10 When you Google? Short white. Short old white man famous. Yeah. You have to put all the... I'll teach you my ways. Yeah. Because I have other people.
Starting point is 01:47:20 Okay, tell, do the black guy you did. Okay, so I'm at the juice. Tell him what you did. And see if Eddie can guess who that is. Okay, I'm at the juice place. And I typed in... So first of all, you got a little white guy. Right.
Starting point is 01:47:29 Now, here you go. Okay. Black R&B singer guy. Oh, really? Yeah. And he popped up. He popped up. He popped up.
Starting point is 01:47:39 Yes. And I even had the Army part of our own because I didn't know his genre, but he still popped up. Who do you think that was? I have... Oh, you wait until the last minute to cram it in? No, not last minute, but it's got six components. Oh, I thought it was four things. Now it's six things to name me around? It's four things, but I do an intro and an outro that normally have some fun things and email shoutouts. And so I go through emails and I read stuff and I figure out which one I'm going to feature. From people that write in. So I don't know. Yeah. I mean, I piece it together all throughout the week. Check out Four Things with Amy Brown. Her husband is the guest this week.
Starting point is 01:54:59 And this is him talking about guys and what to do if your wife's having a period, right? Yeah. I think the biggest lesson is just to not avoid it. Like, I've tried my entire life to avoid it. I've tried for the last 12 years of marriage to avoid it. You're still trying to avoid it right now here. I know when I'm stuck in this chair. I can't get out of it.
Starting point is 01:55:16 So what I would say my, and what I'm trying to do is just jump in. Like, just do it. It's going to happen. Buy all the model. Get some chocolate. and then just realize that it's happening. Does he mean for himself? No, for me.
