Starting point is 00:03:07 Hey, welcome to Wednesday show. Good morning. More studio. Morning. What happened to you yesterday? So I went to Walmart. No makeup, hair, a mess, just, you know, picking up a few things. And a mom was there with her kids, and she, I guess, listened to the show.
Starting point is 00:03:24 So she recognized me. And she was like, hey, are you Amy from the Bobby Bones show? And just before I'm about to say, yes, her kids look, and they're like, no, mom, that's not her. That's not her. She doesn't look anything like that. Like that. Like a negative, you know?
Starting point is 00:03:38 And I was like, oh, yes. I am, Amy. And they're like, oh, okay. But I mean, I just guess they had only seen me on our website. Like, Bobbybones.com, like our show pictures are, you know, we're all glammed up and I did not look like that. So kids were very confused and very honest about it. Kids tend to do that.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Yeah. Be very honest. So shout out to that. family. It's always weird. Sometimes people will come up to me and go, hey, you look like someone. And there's never a right answer to go with that. Because if I go, uh, Bobby Bones, I either they go no. And that's awkward. Oh, I know. Or I go by bones and they go, yeah. And they're like, oh, he's full of yourself. You know, it's like, or sometimes I'll go, uh, Brian Gossling. And they're like, huh. That's a good way to handle it. And that's the best way I found to handle it.
Starting point is 00:04:30 What can I say? Because I get in awkward positions like that too. I can't say Ryan Gosling. But who can I say? Carrie Russell. People often ask who we look like who are our celebrity doppelgangers are. They did the whole thing on Twitter
Starting point is 00:04:41 like a gift your celebrity doppelganger. Amos would probably be Ryan Goss. Carrie Russell. Carrie Russell. Like a little bit of Marin Morris. Like Mary Morris is a few years older sister. Talk us about like that all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:57 What's yours, Bones? Ryan Gosselin? No. Oh, his doppelganger. He's joking, Amy. You don't have to say no. You don't have to like say no so hard. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Amy. Obviously be joking. I was like those little kids at Walmart. Go ahead. You can sign mine. Celebrity doppelganger. Who have we decided for you before? That's changed.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Oh, kind of like Dexter. That's a good one. But not as reddish hair. Big dark rim glasses. You're like a Dexter Rivers. The guy from Weezer. Weezer and Dexter. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:25 It's fair. Hybrid. Weezer and Dexter had a baby. Well, that'd be tough if it's two dudes. It would be hard. I get it. Maybe they adopted. Hypothetically speaking. But they wouldn't look like that. Lunchbox, Doug Funny.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Dach Shepherd. No. I don't see Dax Shepherd at all. I get it all the time. Nick Foles, quarterback NFL. Amy, who do you think? For lunchbox? Yeah. Oh, Joe Bishimi.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Oh, Steve Bishimi. Steve Bishimi. Steve Bishimi. Or whatever is a decent one. Yeah. Oh, great. Here we go. No, no, hold on. And then I would say Steve Bishmi and Doug Fony. There you go.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Nothing like Steve Bishmi and. Yes, if Steve and Doug had a baby. That would be tough because he's a cartoon. Doug Fonnie is. Not sure how that would hurt. They could adopt, but then it wouldn't look like. But then it'd be a half cartoon. Oh my gosh, it's not real.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Did you hear the Steve Buscemi story? So when 9-11 happened, so Steve Buscemi was a firefighter when was younger and got into acting. And when 9-11 happened, he stopped acting and just went back to the fire and volunteered for like weeks. Really? At the 9-11 site, went back to the fire station. Wow. As he was famous. That should have been a big news story.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Just took it right back. Well, there were other new stories at the time kind of out. I get it. That's cool. Eddie is probably Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite. I know. Also, no, he's Pedro and Saul from Homeland. That's a good mix.
Starting point is 00:06:46 They had a baby. That'd be tough. It's funny because my dad looks just like Saul from home. Like Saw's a little older than you. But Pedro's a little younger than you. Yeah. But if you smushed them together. There you go.
Starting point is 00:06:57 That would kind of hurt. Morgan number two is probably who? What's that? Who's that? Dachshepard's wife. Oh, Kristen, Kristen Bell? Now we're married? Great, this is awkward.
Starting point is 00:07:08 You don't look like Dach Shepard. You don't? Mr. Scott, weird. Riemundo looks like Mark Ruffalo. Mark Ruffalo a lot. Yeah, I also get Brad from real world San Diego. No idea who that is. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Also get the guy that works at Jopolde on 3rd Street. Yeah. We have no idea who that is. Brad, it's cool. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. I was watching on Twitter, people go to this Popeye's chicken sandwich and they can't get it for lunch and there are brawes. Fights?
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yeah, because they're out of these chicken sandwiches of places. And so I was watching one. There was a full-on brawl where this dude goes in and he's like, what? You're going to chicken sandwich? You disrespect me? That's crazy. You disrespect me. Like, I love chicken sandwich as much as anybody.
Starting point is 00:07:48 I'm not going to fight anybody. So Lunchbox actually tried them both, right? Lunchbox? Yeah, because there was a big war on Twitter between Chick-fil-A and Popeyes about who has the better chicken sandwich. And so Popeyes was going at it, so I was like, you know what, I'm going to go to the source. I went to Popeyes and I said, what makes
Starting point is 00:08:06 your chicken sandwich better? And I want to prove it, so I bought a chicken sandwich. Lunchbox, reporting live from Popeyes. Reporting live to Popeye. Yeah, I need to know. What about the rivalry with Chick-fil-A? Tell me. One, fast square. No doubt? No doubt.
Starting point is 00:08:21 What do you want to say that people are Chick-fil-A? Come by to Popeyes and let's have a taste-off, right? No, no, we have no taste of it. Because yours is better. No, we just say that we're guaranteed better. Oh, next in line. All right, have a great day.
Starting point is 00:08:38 And they had them there? They had them at that Popeye, so I got a chicken sandwich, put it in the car, and then I drove over to Chick-fil-A. Okay, here's lunchbox talking to the woman at Chick-fil-A. How do you feel about Popeye starting a fight with you guys about the chicken sandwich? Well, I mean, I know they were doing that, but I think that's just silly. I need to know who has the best chicken sandwich. I think ours is the best. Boom, that's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:08:58 I want a chicken sandwich. We're doing a taste test. Anything you want to say to Popeyes? I don't want to get in trouble for anything I say. Thank you so much. It's my pleasure. She starts cursing them out. I mean, she stayed very polite.
Starting point is 00:09:10 My pleasure. And I went home, sat down at the kitchen table, and I ate both chicken sandwiches. And guys, let me tell you. Drum roll, please, Raimundo. Of the two chicken sandwiches, did you eat them? Because my question is, how does it happen?
Starting point is 00:09:24 Do you take a bite of a couple of it? so you don't like get full on one. Yes, I took two bites of one. Like that. And then had some water and some mouthwash to clean out my palate. And then I did two bites of the other. The other sandwich tastes like mouthwash. I had some of the mint chick-fil-a sandwich.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Yeah, yeah. You should do find another palate. No, no, I believe. I mean, when you brush your teeth, you don't use mouthwash? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it cleans your palate, right? Yes. Okay, so thank you.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Are you ready to tell us the winner in Lunchbox's Sandwich Challenge Challenge? Yes. The winner of Lunchbox's Chicken Sandwich Challenge is Pop-Eyes. Oh, yeah. Wow. Guys, it is so good. Oh, man, I can't believe.
Starting point is 00:10:07 So good. Like, Chick-fil-A, I feel like the bun does get a little soggy, and it kind of deflates. The Popeyes is crispy. The chicken has just more taste. There's just more to it. Wow. Wow, wow, wow.
Starting point is 00:10:22 The Lunchbox Taste Test Challenge. He's thinking, me want to taste. Oh, you got to go try it, guys. I know. There he is. Popeye's a winner this morning. There it is. Thank you very much. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

It's real. possibly it's fake. This is all happened in the last week, okay? Amy, you're up first. Okay. The headline is vets remove 32 rubber ducks from bulldog's stomach.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Veterinarians at an animal hospital conducted surgery on a bulldog to remove 32 rubber duckies from the hungry canine stomach. The owner said her American bulldog, devil, got into a box of 50 yellow rubber ducks that she had bought for her pool. Devil is recovering from the surgery and reunited with his owner. Now, real news or fake news, vets removed 32 rubber ducks from hungry bulldog stomach. I mean, I don't, oh, this is hard. I just don't even know how 32 rubber ducks would fit in a little bulldog stomach. So based on that, I didn't say the dog was little, by the way. A bulldog, though.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Their stomachs. Okay, I'm just saying, you're saying little. I just, I know you didn't. I'm thinking bulldogs are not that big. Okay. It's not like, you know, a great Dane. So I'm going to go with fake news. Vets remove 32 rubber ducks from hungry bulldog's stomach is real.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Oh. And I got duped. Yeah, I think maybe the rubber ducks were small. Lunchbox. A woman wins the lottery after playing the ages of her ex-husbands. A Nevada woman says, She owes her $256,000 lottery win to her five ex-husbands. Holy crap.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Joyce Wallace matched all numbers in the Fantasy Five drawing, winning $256,090. She played the numbers 3948, 55, 58, and 61, which were the current ages of her five ex-husbands. She said she was planning on using her winnings to buy a house. So the headline is, a woman wins the lottery after playing the ages of her ex-husbands. Man, I love the lottery. And at first I thought you said birth dates of the ex-husbands. And I was like, that's too many numbers. I'm going to say it's fake news.
Starting point is 00:17:03 He says fake news. Woman wins lottery after playing the ages of her ex-husbands is fake. Yes. Wow. What? It seems more realistic than 32 of her duckies. You still holding on? You still holding on over there?
Starting point is 00:17:18 Let it go. Let it go. I mean, how big were the duck? Go frozen. Let it go. Let it go. Eddie. All right. Come on, Bones. A woman fishing in New York reels in trout with two mouths on it.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Why are you laughing? A woman fishing in upstate New York snap photos when she reeled in a trout with two mouths. She was fishing on Lake Champlain with her husband when she reeled in the two-mouth fish. Photos of the unusual went viral after a friend posted him on Facebook. The woman said she released to fish back into the water I've taken the photos. Real news or fake news? Lake Champlain, is that what you said?
Starting point is 00:17:59 Lake Champlain or Champlain, I'm not sure. That's a lake. Fisher in New York, so that's accurate. People find weird looking fish all the time, so that's a true story to me. You say it's real news. Oh my gosh, it's real news. Come on.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Woman fishing in New York State reels in trout with two mouths. That is real. Yeah! Nice. All right, you two are both into here. I was trying to throw you off the laugh. I saw, I actually saw that on the internet.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I saw it on the internet, so I knew it was there. Punks. Okay, how about this? You can, but you two are still in it? Yeah. You can buzz in your name at any point. Love it. And claim fake or real.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Okay. And it's the, you'll win or lose. All right. Lunchbox. Let's wait to hear the whole thing. Lunchbox. Okay. Fake news.
Starting point is 00:18:46 He went 50-50. Gosh, he's so smart. I'm just taking chance. Fake news. You're looking at it. Go ahead and ding and ring it. He's so smart. I mean, I would like the listeners to be able to hear the bit.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Yeah, let's listen to it first, but his answer's already fake. I was trying to go blind. A mom accidentally picked up the wrong kid from a bus stop while she was on the phone. A mother from West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, asked her sister to pick up her son. The aunt ended up leaving with the wrong kid because she was on the phone the whole time. That's so believable. It wasn't until she stopped for gas. She realized she had the wrong kid.
Starting point is 00:19:17 That sucks. But that happens, dude. What would you say now lunchbox after her hand is the story? Fake news. Eddie? No, that's real. Absolutely fake. That can totally happen to someone. I mean, that would have been all over.
Starting point is 00:19:30 I feel like I'd have seen that everywhere. It could have been somewhere. I don't always see all the news. I don't see any of the lot of news. I read a lot of newspapers every day. Bobby, you get, you see a lot of news. And I try to read all the news and I still can't catch up. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Okay. Lunchbox said fake without hearing it. That is. What is that game? What is it? Oh, dealer no dealer. No, no. Or it's Elwha's game. Yeah, who wants to be a millionaire.
Starting point is 00:19:58 That is. Waiting. Do do do do do do do F Faye Yeah! Yeah! That's how you doing it! I could not believe he went blind and he wins.
Starting point is 00:20:10 There he is. He's got to take a chance sometimes, Eddie. You did. You did and you won. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So there are these two people.
Starting point is 00:20:40 Joe and Julie, they met when they were teenagers at church. Always had a little interest in each other, but nothing happened until they got reacquainted in their 30s. But even at that point, they just had so much going on in their lives. They never took the time to tie the knot, get married, make it happen. Well, now, 75 years old and 79 years old, they finally tied the knot. Yeah. He did some commitment issues, huh?
Starting point is 00:21:06 No, no. One day, I guess, when things finally settled down. What does that mean? settled down, though? I mean, good for them. It said they were caring for family members that were sick and other ones. They had stuff going on work. Joe.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Joe finally turned to Julie and said, you want to get married? And she laughed and said, yeah. Thought you'd never ask. So in front of 200 loved ones who've waited a really long time to see this go down, they watch them say I do. I guess we're coming to issues. A good friend, we're going to know where to talk.
Starting point is 00:21:36 That's going to be me and tell me something good. You know, Bobby, 93. The Saturday finally, get married. Settle down. Yeah, settle down. Amy, you good? I'm good. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:46 That's tell me something good. Good work there. And good work today couple. All those years. Joe and Julie. 60 years they got married. That was Tell Me Something Good. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 00:25:21 This story comes with us from Royal Palm Beach, Florida A 28-year-old man's Working at Arby's He's supposed to get off at 10 p.m. And the manager comes up and says, Hey, someone called in, I need you to work overtime.
Starting point is 00:25:34 He's like, look, I got plans with my girlfriend, no. The manager pulls out pepper spray pepper sprays him and chases him around the store with a knife trying to make him stay and work overtime. But he pepper sprayed him
Starting point is 00:25:44 because he just didn't want to work more? Yeah, he didn't want to work overtime. And the manager's like, no, that's not acceptable. Pepper sprayed him and chased him with a knife to make him stay. I wonder if he thought that that would work. He was not going to be a very effective employee. I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:25:55 You spray him and then he just makes more sandwiches? It's not very smart. It's crazy that that guy is the boss. So I'm lunchboxed at your Bonhead story of the day. Come on, Bobby Pong's show. So what happened? So Josh Turner's song, you know, Baby lock them nose and throw them lots down low.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Just to be your man. Yeah. So that comes on. And you know, I've dodged tons of questions with them about songs that are like, like they listen to, yeah, you know, like a 50 cent to get to the candy shop. Like they've never asked me, what's the candy shop, mom? They probably think it's the real candy shop. Exactly. So I've dodged it.
Starting point is 00:26:31 It's been fine. What is the candy shop? Relax. Right. Yeah. But there's, and there's other songs, like, especially pop ones that are way worse. And I'm like, sweet. They're not asking me what this means.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Well, so innocent Josh Turner comes on talking about locking the doors and turning the lights down low. And Stasier was like, mom, why does he want to? to lock the door and turn the lights down though. Great question. What do you say? And I'm like, oh man, he is ready for some Netflix and he does not want to be interrupted. It's a good answer. It's a real good answer. Right? Like, it's the first thing that came to me. And she's like, she just kind of shrugged her shoulder like, oh, okay, cool. Makes sense. So, sounds good. Watch Netflix. Tonight, you know. Yeah. I'm going to watch my new favorite show. It's glow. Yeah. So please don't interrupt.
Starting point is 00:27:17 me. I've been thinking about this all day long. She can relate to that. She thinks about Netflix all day. What other song does she ask about? That's it right now. That's the only one where I've had like it's, it's a song that's talking about, you know, bedroom time. And she's asked me about like all the other songs that are definitely talking about stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:27:40 She just thinks it's true. But I mean, and I think this one was just it sparked her curiosity like, huh, I wonder why he's locking the door and turn the lights down. Well, for all the kids that they're listening right now, that's literally, it's about video games and Netflix. Sure. It's not getting interrupted. Oh, yeah. Because I don't want to get interrupted.
Starting point is 00:27:54 No. That's why I locked the door. All right, time to open up messages from you guys. Let's open up the mailbag. Bobby's Mailbag. They write, hey Bobby. I went on a first date last week and the guy showed up drunk. Yep.
Starting point is 00:28:13 We met at the restaurant and he was already drunk when he got there. And he kept drinking more during appetizers and things got a little bit awkward. I don't want to be rude. And in the date early, so we ordered a main courses. But then I ate as fast as I could, and I said no thanks to dessert. He sent me a text later to apologize and said he was just nervous and he would like to take me out again. No alcohol. Should I go out with him again?
Starting point is 00:28:40 Heather. There's the mail bag. I'm going to say this. We all screw up once. we don't know what was happening in his life that day we don't know maybe he got some bad news maybe he was so nervous because you're so beautiful maybe he was just a little bit out of control
Starting point is 00:28:56 like he didn't mean to get drunk just drank a little bit I say you give him a second shot but you don't plan a big long date for a second date you plan a quick like quick brunch or a quick little get together and he's got to kind of earn your trust back but I definitely give him a second shot as long as he wasn't gropey
Starting point is 00:29:14 or vomiting. Right. Like, we all screw up once. If you like them, I say give him a second shot. Amy. I agree. If you're attracted, then give him another date. And he's saying no alcohol, so, and then you just got to make sure it's not going to be a problem.
Starting point is 00:29:34 I would even say alcohol. Oh. Like you don't. Just test his watch. Well, he was saying no alcohol. I know, but I would say, hey, don't worry about the alcohol thing. Like, let's just live life again. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:44 All right. And then that way you'll know if he can control it. If he gets drunk again, then, oh, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? Don't be shame again. Lunchbox? I say, look, you go out on a second day and you get drunk and see how he likes it. Oh. Make him pay for your drinks. If I like that. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. See how he likes it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Hey. You run up the bill, make him pay for the drinks. And I mean, you're attracted to him in the first place. So what? He likes to drink. Don't you like to drink? That's the whole point. Have fun. Relax. I think it's mostly about when is the appropriate time to drink, more so than like to drink. Morgan, number two, if you go on a date and there's a dude and he shows up wasted, are you going on a second day with him? No, I'm not going to. There's just too many fish in the sea, honestly, and you didn't put it as a priority knowing we had a date. So, well, he said he was nervous.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Yeah. I'm nervous all the time, but I don't show up drunk. If you are nervous, then get a drink when you first get there and then you can kind of break the ice too. Yeah. So what would you tell her? Should she go out with him again? I personally don't think so I think that he burned that bridge
Starting point is 00:30:47 and first impressions are important especially when you're dating and that's not a good first impression if you want to get drunk together fine but not show up drunk that's not a good thing Morgan I produce hardcore would do she'll cut them out yeah
Starting point is 00:31:00 and I've got time for that it's almost like a little mirror of myself all right Heather listen we all I think all the three of us yeah say go out with them again for different reasons say you can give him a second shot Morgan number two is probably more like Heather says don't. There are other fish in the sea.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Yep. There you go. That is the mailbag. Heather, thank you for sending that here. And that was Bobby's mailbag. Yes, it was. The Bob Bow Show. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:31:30 So there's this dad who has decided to completely take his son out of school so he can focus on video games full time. Oh, wow. How old's a kid? He's 16 years old. But he's been gaming, like, a lot of his life. His dad said he put a gaming controller in his hand at three years old. He was a natural.
Starting point is 00:31:47 And at, like, 10, he was winning all sorts of tournaments already. And now at 16, like, he sees the potential. And I guess so far, the kid has earned about $60,000 from gaming. So the dad's basically, like, we got this. How do you feel about that? I mean, I guess it's, he's 16, as long as he maybe complete some sort of homeschooling program or maybe he can get his GED or something. I mean, it's no different than sometimes.
Starting point is 00:32:10 like Taylor Swift moving to Nashville at what, 14 or 15 to pursue her career. Yeah, I'm glad you came around on that because I could tell at the beginning you were like, I'm dumb. I'm glad you came around. Yeah, when I think about how other kids, if they've got a true talent, and I mean, e-sports is like a thing, and that what it's called? Yeah, music, sports, gaming. Listen, if you just want to start your career building houses, it's good to finish school.
Starting point is 00:32:36 But I don't have a problem with that. Especially the kid's 16. He's not 12. You know, at 16, you don't want to go to school, you just don't go to school. You need to drive away. And now I go, yeah, I'm okay with it too. What else you got? So 40% of people say that they regret how they've lived in their life like so far.
Starting point is 00:32:53 And I have the list of the five biggest regrets. All right. At number five, this is the saddest list of all time. Okay. Well, no, it's stuff you can. I regret. The biggest regret. It's stuff we can focus on now to make a change.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Number five. Not being a better parent. Not being a better parent. Well, it's kind of vague. Don't you always feel like regardless of how good you did that you could have done better as a parent? Well, I think it's week to week. Like, you could overall, I hope that I would look back thinking I was a good parent. But some weeks I'm better than others.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Like some weeks I'm more involved. Some weeks I'm more engaged. Some weeks I'm less annoyed. I would say, though, that's such a big thing that I don't know that you can hit peak parenting all the time. I think every parent probably thinks that. Yeah. No. Or any parents out there like nailed it.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Well, maybe occasionally. Okay. Number four on the biggest regrets in life. working too much. I feel like probably might regret that. You do? Yes, you've worked too much. You don't live.
Starting point is 00:33:48 The only time that ever resonates with me that I may work too much is when I hear people that I think I'm similar to that are older than me say the same thing. I will watch that David Letterman series and he goes, you know what, I wish I just would have kids earlier
Starting point is 00:34:01 because he waited until he was older to have kids. Yeah. He's like, in his 50s. And he was like, I just wish I would have kids earlier. And I'm nutty. He's nutty. And I was like, man, maybe I'm going to think about this too if I ever have kids. I'd like to have kids.
Starting point is 00:34:13 Does anyone have a kid with me? What are you doing today, Eddie? I'm busy. Oh, you have four kids. Yeah, I'm good. All right, number three, Amy. Not spending enough time with their family. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Number two? Not taking better care of their health. Yeah, that's a big one. And the number one thing people regret at most? Not traveling more. Probably because they're working too much. Or they're just broke. Like, I didn't go anywhere the first 30 years of my life.
Starting point is 00:34:37 I don't have any money. You poor. You're trying to pay the rent more so than, you know, go to Ethiopia. Did people go to Ethiopia? Yes. They do. Probably not many, but yeah, I think so. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:49 And final story over there. So there's this guy and he calls himself the sleep artist. And he says he does amazing drawings and paintings in his sleep, but has no artistic ability when he's awake. Interesting. Yeah. So here's what I was thinking when I read this. I was like, oh, this is totally like a marketing thing.
Starting point is 00:35:08 because he calls himself the sleep artist. And he creates celebrity portraits, abstracts. He sells them for thousands of dollars. And he does it while he's asleep? Right. Oh, you're not believing. Like, it's like his angle.
Starting point is 00:35:20 You know, every artist needs their angle. And it's like definitely a good one. Like, you know, when you have your friends over and you've got your new piece of art hanging, they may ask you about it. It's like a conversation starter. Oh, I bought it from this artist that only paints in his sleep.
Starting point is 00:35:32 You know? It is a thing. It's intriguing. Yeah. So I feel like that's how he's getting it out there. So if you're looking for an angle, I don't know. I'm going to start painting pictures and say, my dog did it because I'm bad,
Starting point is 00:35:42 but I'll be like, no, this is my dog. He's actually good. Right. Yeah. It's not me. I watch them do it. He won't do it when people are watching. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Unless this guy really does, I mean, we sleepwalk, people eat walk, eat, sleep eat. And eat walk, two different things. Yes, I'm a eat walker too. And so maybe, maybe there is something to it. But yeah, pretty cool. That was Amy's pile of stories. Go to get sunday.com to get your free custom yard analysis. That's get sunday.com. It's time for the good news. An auto shop owner named T.J. Crossman is about to give away a car to a person in need.
Starting point is 00:39:40 It's the fourth car that he's given away. Every year of the last couple years, he's done this. He's accepting nominations now. He's been motivated to give back since he survived about with cancer 15 years ago. And so what he does is he collects parts, old car, and then he kind of rebuilds it and then gives it to somebody. Wow. Amazing. Like over the year, he spends his time doing this. Isn't that crazy? That's good. That's not talking about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Oh, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones is the Bobby B. Over to Amy. Let's go with that morning corny. Here we go. The morning corny. I needed a password eight characters long. A password eight characters long, huh?
Starting point is 00:40:33 Yeah. So I went with Snow White and the seven dwarfs. Eight characters. There you go. Like cartoon characters. Yes. And. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:40:43 That was the morning gorney. Bobby boom, come on. So what happened, Amy? Okay, so I'm in a public bathroom and the only stall available was the handicap one. And I didn't think anything of it. I just went into the stall. Use the bathroom, came out, was washing my hands.
Starting point is 00:40:58 And the woman next to me washing her hands, she looked at me and said, you know, you really shouldn't use the handicapped stall unless you're handicapped. And how did that make you feel? I mean, it made me feel bad. Like I thought, well, because that's not the first time I've done that. I've even used the handicapped stall when it's not the only one left because it's spacious and it's fake.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Like I felt guilty. Like, oh my gosh, like I have been, have I done something wrong? And people have been judging me and I didn't know it. I know other people do this too. And luckily, nobody handicapped came in while I was in there. At least I don't think. So then it just made me think like, well, should I not be using the handicapped stall? Even if it's the only one available, Judge Commons since.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Oh, you want Judge Comments since? Oh, here he is. Yeah. But I need Judge Cominsins to address two things. Go ahead. Is it okay to use the handicaps, stop if you're not handicapped? And then also, is it okay for that woman to say that to me and make me feel bad? Well, if you go into a movie theater and they have the handicapped seats, will you sit in those?
Starting point is 00:42:05 No, never. Why? Because it's designated for handicapped people. all. And the movie is two and a half hours. I can pee in 30 seconds. So, time is why you'll sit in one seat and not the other. Mm-hmm. Squat. I don't sit. I'm sorry. I squat. I squat. Okay, so you're right about the movies. You should not sit in a handicapped seat at the movie theater. I don't park my car in a handicapped spot either. The bathroom's a little different. I do think if there's a little bit, not another open stall
Starting point is 00:42:45 and you go and you're conscious of who's walking in because Okay So check my surroundings Yeah you have to do that Because if someone comes in this handicap And you're in the only place
Starting point is 00:42:57 Oh yeah I'm gonna feel lame when I walk out So here's what Judge Cominson says You can go in You can use the handicapped spot The handicapped stall But you gotta go quick Okay Sometimes I change clothes in there
Starting point is 00:43:12 Because there's so much No, you can't do that. Like, you have 90 seconds or less if you're in a handicapped stall. That's what I'm saying, at Judge Commentin's right now. 90 seconds or less. If you have stomach issues, you're not allowed to go in. Okay. But you've got to get in and get out.
Starting point is 00:43:27 And it's the only one. You can't go up for spacious reasons. Okay. Also, was she, I guess it was okay that she told me that then? Because I guess I needed to know. You needed to know. And really, you shouldn't go in there. You really shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:43:41 But I'm not going to put you in Judge Comit since jail for doing it if it's the only one left. Okay. Because in this case it really was, but I'm confessing, Your Honor, that I've done it before. I'm not a priest. I said your honor. I didn't say it. That would be a judge. You didn't call your father. No, but you're confessing. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, no, I was just letting you know, Your Honor, that I'm guilty of this crime before. Lunchbox, what do you think about this?
Starting point is 00:44:09 I got no problem with you going in the stall at all. I go in them all the time. If it's the only one open and it's more spacious, listen, it is bigger for a handicap, but it doesn't have a handicap sticker where it's only reserved for a handicap. It's common sense that it's, you know, for handicapped, but I go in them. No, no, it does.
Starting point is 00:44:26 It's definitely a handicap stall meant for people to have more room. Yeah, Lundress is right. There's not a sign. Like, when you see a handicapped parking spot, it has a sign that this is handicapped. That is just made bigger in case you are handicapped. Guys, do you need a sign to know that that's for people who need to use that.
Starting point is 00:44:43 No, no, he's just making a point. And I was saying, yeah, me. Sort of like, do you ever go in the family bathroom where it's just one individual toilet? Oh, yeah. Absolutely. And I feel so bad when I come out. What's the one with that?
Starting point is 00:44:54 It's a one stall, like at the airport. It's one thing. There's a difference in being in a family and being handicapped. No, but body is. That's the difference. But the family one, I feel bad when I use it, but sometimes they have a couch.
Starting point is 00:45:05 It's really nice in there. And I've come out before and like this mom traveling with four kids. was waiting to get in and I was like, I walked out by myself and I was like, my bed. I basically took a shower in there. Okay. Here's my ruling officially. You shouldn't do it, but if you have to, because you have to go, you have 90 seconds or less to get in and get out.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Okay. Because if someone's in a wheelchair and they can't go anywhere else. That's the only stall they can go in. Yes, I know. Okay. Thank you. And the woman had every right to say that to you because she's right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:39 She could have said it less judgey, though. it's a judgy thing to say and she's judgy right like me right now. I'm the judge. Case dismissed. You're not going to jail, but you have a warning. I wrote you a warning ticket right here. Thank you. It's a Bobby Bone show.
Starting point is 00:45:54 All right, I will play you the theme to a classic TV show. Just name the show. These are old school, by the way. Song number one. Exciting and... I'm in. What a jam. Amy?
Starting point is 00:46:21 Love boat. Oh, correct. Lunchbox. Chips. Eddie? Love boat, man. Come on. That your favorite when you're a kid?
Starting point is 00:46:31 Yeah, I've never heard that one for in my life. Name this classic TV show theme song. What's the show? Don't waste another minute on you crying. As long as we got each other. I'm in. I'm in for the win. Amy?
Starting point is 00:46:58 Growing pains. Growing pains. Eddie? Family ties. Woo! Wow. It was either one of those, hey, that's where I... Is it one of the two?
Starting point is 00:47:09 Yep, that's where I was like... Name this one. Oh, boy. Men. What? What? You got it. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Your dreams or your ticket. Welcome back to that same... Amy doesn't have it. I got it. Amy? Welcome back, Carter. No. Yep, yep.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Give her the buzzin. Lost it. Why did you get iny? Lugs. I put family ties. It's Mr. Carta. Welcome back Cotter. What is it?
Starting point is 00:47:42 Cotta. Spell it. C-O-T-T-O-R. I'll take Cotter. It's Cotter. Okay. How is it spelled? Cotter.
Starting point is 00:47:52 You said Carter. Yeah, there's no R. Thank you. Name this. No, no, no. Don't okay us. You know you were wrong. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:01 You did say Carter. But you got that quick game. I know. I really thought it was Carter. Here we go. I'm in. I'm in for the win. I'm in for the win.
Starting point is 00:48:19 Okay, if Amy and Eddie are tied. Yeah. Amy. Hawaii 5-0. Eddie? Hawaii 5-0. Magnum P.I. I didn't watch a lot of TV back in the day.
Starting point is 00:48:30 Amy, Eddie, we got a tie here. There we go. Nice for you. All right. You end in a tie? You end in a tie. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University. an affordable, private, nonprofit Christian university based in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.

Starting point is 00:51:58 That's get sunday.com. It's time for the good news. Man, Jim Johnson's been. working at the same grocery store for the last 30 years. So he knows a lot of the customers. Well, about a year ago, his car engine blew up and he couldn't afford to fix it. So he bought a bicycle, rode it to work every single day. One of his shifts, someone steals the bike.
Starting point is 00:52:23 Oh, man. And so one of the regulars found out about this started a GoFundMe page and raised money so they could buy him a used car so he doesn't have to walk to work. They didn't buy him a bike. They bought him a car. They bought him a car. That's amazing. Oh, you know what?
Starting point is 00:52:36 Your bicycle's gone. Don't worry about it. You're going to get four wheels and stuff. set of two. How about that? And he said, beep, beep, on my way to work. There you go. That was tell me something good. There we is. Hey, lunchbox. Yo, yo. All right. He's
Starting point is 00:52:51 talking quiet. He's at the gym. All right, what kind of gym are you in? Don't say the exact name, but, like, describe it to us. It's a smaller gym. It's got weight. It's got people in there working out. It's not one of your main chain gyms. You know what I'm saying? but it's definitely a gym where the public can come and work out.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Is there someone there that's kind of policing it? Oh, yeah, there's someone sitting at the front desk, and they have people that you've got to check in. You've got to pay a $3 fee to get a guest membership for one day. That's what you did, $3? Yeah, I paid $3. I'm sure you'll be trying to get reimbursed for that. Yeah, I'm going to be asking for that.
Starting point is 00:53:32 I already said. I was like, man, I'm not doing these bits if I've got to pay for them all. Amen. So what he's going to do is, because there was a whole new story, story about grunting and that if you grunt you get 15% stronger like when you work out the grunting is actually a good thing right yeah so don't be embarrassed ever researchers found that grunting during workouts boost your performance so it gave us the idea to put lunchbox in a gym and how many grunts tell they ask him to stop okay that's what we're going to be at the over under is six
Starting point is 00:53:59 Amy what do you think? Oh six are you kidding me what do you what's up oh I'm getting more than six because I'm going to be going hard I mean I'm going hard in the gym Yeah. But do you think... I think it goes over. So you think... Ooh, I think they ask him to stop before. Before six?
Starting point is 00:54:16 I say right at six. I'll put it at six. If I think it goes over six, you win. Okay. Okay. So if he gets to seven, you win. Got it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:23 Lunchbox eight. Now, I need some strong grunts, though, okay? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, like, are we talking like, or... You know what? You can start medium. But, but yeah, let's grunt it out. What kind of weight do you have?
Starting point is 00:54:35 What are you doing? Well, I mean, I, I, there's the closest machine. to a people is a leg machine. It's a leg press, so I'm going to sit down on it. And right now I've got 20 pounds on it. Okay. So lay down on the leg press? You want me to go in there? All right, here we go. I'll go back in. I didn't send no cell phone use. I had to come out here so they didn't get in on me.
Starting point is 00:54:54 All right. I'm walking in. Now, if they come up to him and say, sir, please stop. It's over. That's it. I'm going six or below. Oh, do I keep grunting? Or do I just say, I'm just getting my work on? Well, kicking you out's a whole different game. Okay. Are you laying down? Yeah, I'm getting on the machine right now.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Okay, don't start yet. Go. I don't want to hurry up. All right, this is grunt number one. Now give us a good hard grunt. You ready, lunchbox? Yeah. And go.
Starting point is 00:55:24 I mean, you can do better than that. Come on, come on. You can do better than that. Well, that's grunt too. Hold on. We got to do this together. Get to do this together. There's no way you can even be lifting anything really heavy.
Starting point is 00:55:36 He's got 20 pounds on it. It's like. Hold on. Stop running away with the grunts. Hold on. We have the grunt count up here in the room. Three grunts are in. Lunchbox, anyone looking at you?
Starting point is 00:55:52 I don't know. I got my back to him. I'm trying to work out, man. All right. On grunt four, really give it all you got, okay? Here we go. Okay, you ready? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:05 All right. Look around. Just lift up and look around. Oh, yeah, I got a couple heads, turning. Okay. A couple, are you ready? Yeah, and hold on. And now for grunt number.
Starting point is 00:56:14 number five. We're five grunts in. This next grunt's got to be the one where someone comes up to him or I'll lose the game. All right. Make it last. Lunchbox,
Starting point is 00:56:28 you really got to kill this one, right? I mean, go for, no, you can't make this in your favor. You just got a grunt. But I'm talking about for the bit. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:36 Grun it out. Yeah. Grun it out. Are you ready, lunchbox? Give us 100% grant here. And you guys ready? Yeah, go. You're with Mr. Miyagi on that one.
Starting point is 00:56:51 All right, look around. He takes a deep breath. Look around. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, there's a couple people talking to each other. Okay. They're pointing at me. Is anyone coming over to you?
Starting point is 00:57:05 No, not that I can see, but they are pointing at me. All right. Are you ready? You're, Amy, you've won, but let's continue the game. Does it get to 10, yes or no? Ten. No, no, it didn't get to 10. Amy? 11.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Okay. Ready lunchbox, and go for ground number seven. Sounds like he's having a baby. Like you boxed on the leg machine. You've got seven gritset. And grunt number eight. Hey, you're ready? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Okay, and this one end it with like a high squeal at the end of it. Okay. All right, grunt number nine. All right, that's grunt number nine. Hold on, let's box. They coming? What's that? Oh.
Starting point is 00:58:03 I'm just working out, man, grunt. You know, I've got to get that swall on. Oh, dude. Beend enough to speak you came back. Offending. I'm not saying anything bad. I'm not going to scream their fucking out. Oh, we, I mean, I'm not, I'm just doing, I'm in my zone.
Starting point is 00:58:17 I'm in my zone. Like, you know. Ask him to get one more rep in. It's going to get beat up. 11. Lunchbox. Yeah, yeah. Say, can you mind if I can I, can I, can I, I get one last set of six?
Starting point is 00:58:37 One last set of six. One last set of six here, guys. Guy. Guy. You call them guy. What do you say? One, two, three. Take it home, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:58:58 All right, say thanks guys and walk out. He's done. Say that. All right. That was a good workout. Thank you, guys. Thanks, guys. Thanks, guys.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Thank you, like. What do you have? What do you say to you? Man, thank you, guys. That was good. Appreciate it. Thank you. Same time tomorrow, guys?
Starting point is 00:59:21 See you guys tomorrow. Oh my gosh, guys. That guy was a big dude. Yeah? He was not happy. Who you talking about a guy? You know about a guy? What did you say, lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:59:38 No, he came and stood in front of the machine and tried to block me from doing any more work. And what'd you do? But I just kept going. Yeah. You're such a rebel. Bad boy. You're so bad. Wait, hold on.
Starting point is 00:59:49 What were people saying to the guy? Can you clarify that? I don't know what they were saying to him. He said I was startling people as I was working out. You're startling us. We're not even there with him. Yeah, yeah. Come on back, Gluck's a good bit.

Starting point is 01:03:56 and I was reversing out of a spot in the parking lot. And I hear like a honk and then a, and I look over, and it's a police officer. And I rolled down my window and I'm thinking, something wrong with my car or what. And he said, you might want to buckle up if you're going somewhere. And I was like, I'm buckling up. I'm going to buckle up. I promise I'm going to buckle up.
Starting point is 01:04:21 But I had just put my car in reverse. I hadn't buckled up yet because I was still in my parking spot, sort of. Was the car moving? Yes, it was in reverse. You were wrong. I know. I know. But I was like, oh, no, I'm in a buckle.
Starting point is 01:04:33 Don't worry. And he said, you should buckle up before that car. even hits reverse or drive. And I was like, okay, yes, sir. Good thing he didn't tick at you. Right. I mean, I guess he could have, but how lame if I would have got it taken. Wow.
Starting point is 01:04:47 Don't be telling the law. Have you ever looked in the eyes of the law and told him it's lame? No, I didn't. Don't do it behind the law back. No, I said, yes, sir. Yeah. And I showed respect. But then I, and then I was kind of bummed Stevenson wasn't with me because he would
Starting point is 01:04:59 have loved that encounter. And he would roll down his window and be like, you're right. I always tell mom, mom, the car's moving. You're not buckled. Yeah. I was, and we can't be on our phones driving here anymore. Right. You can't even hold it in your hand.
Starting point is 01:05:12 And I was sitting in a light yesterday. And there was this guy next to me who was texting away. And I grabbed my phone and was going to take a picture of him. And then I thought, oh, I'm also breaking the law by taking a picture of him. That's true. Breaking the law. So I didn't get it. Right.
Starting point is 01:05:23 I was going to get it and be like Citizens Arrest on Instagram. I didn't do it. Man, so happy you guys could spend even just a few minutes with us today. Thank you so much. Got to go. Hopefully you guys will be around. We'll be around. I'm around all day, actually.
