Starting point is 00:02:45 The first story I'm going to read to you says eating a big breakfast could help you burn double the amount of calories. I'm going to call BS on that for you even getting into the story. We always hear that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But you know what we hear that? Because we were taught. That's a slogan. Yeah, you told us that. That's an advertisement slogan. A new study says, a very high calorie breakfast, but here's the key, a very low calorie dinner. Does it? Oh. That's hard. That's hard
Starting point is 00:03:13 because I'm really hungry at, like, dinner time. I want the most at dinner time. So would you eat a very, very light breakfast? Sure. My only point is a high calorie breakfast, and if you have a low calorie anything else it makes up for it. It doesn't matter which one it is. It's like, eat the massive breakfast, but don't eat dinner and you'll lose weight. They don't need anything else. Okay. But what about the whole theory of like you have all day to burn it?
Starting point is 00:03:36 Well, you are awake. Yeah. So like breakfast, you have a good, hearty breakfast, but then you have all day to kind of burn it off. I would say eat sensibly all the time. Yeah. I don't. I'm not saying, I'm not telling you to do something that I do because no one eats sensibly all the time, not normal folks.
Starting point is 00:03:53 But breakfast is the most important meal of the day was invented by the Seventh-day Adventists and John Harvey Kellogg to sell their newly invented breakfast cereal. Got us. So whenever someone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day, be like, you're just from a commercial. Tony the Tiger said that. That's from me going up, melt in your mouth, not in your hands. And then using that as like a saying to get you through the day.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Or I'm loving it. Na-da-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. I went to, I went in box yesterday in a class. I don't do a lot of classes I do sometimes but my trainer's been out of town so I went into a boxing class yesterday. You taught it? No.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Do you think people would... No, why can I not teach it though? Why would you look at Eddie like that was the most ridiculous thing ever? Wait, no, you did. No, I was saying to me it sounded exactly like your trainer was gone so you went and took a class. But I thought it was funny he took that as you went to teach a class. Yeah, your trainer's gone so you're like, all right, I'll step in.
Starting point is 00:04:47 All right, guys, here we go. Follow me. Okay. Well, to teach a boxing class, I don't know. because I think the guy that teaches the class that I was at yesterday, which is a trainer. I don't know what. It's not like a Paula Crete or anything. I don't know that you have to be a professional boxer.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Now, I am not certified in anything, but I still think I could go and teach a boxing class, right? I think you could, yes. Because, I mean... That's what I thought you did. He... And by the way, the guy was really good. His name was Nick. If you ever in Nashville, I have a few gyms.
Starting point is 00:05:16 One I went to yesterday was one in Green Hills. And Nick taught the boxing class. I don't think he's a boxing instructor by any means, but I did stop by after the class, which I rarely do and say, hey, that was a really good class. Mostly if I go to a yoga class, they're like, stop by with any questions or comments. I'm like, who would stop by and have questions or comments? But people do. The only thing that I'll ever make a comment on is a playlist.
Starting point is 00:05:40 And then I want to even comment to them, I'll just come on the show and be like, that's a stupid playlist. Oh, I thought you'd say only if it's good. No, but I don't like going to yoga and they do quiet yoga, where they don't do any playlist or they make it sound like you're getting a massage where it's all. on like water trickles or like or chance. Like I like to keep it going.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I know everybody doesn't, especially in yoga. Some people go in there and like to shut it down. Like to go slow. Me, I don't care what we're doing. Like hit me with that. This is how we do it. Like give me that while I'm doing yoga. This is how we do it.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na. It's Friday night. I have found songs, though, that I like from yoga. And this is what I'll do. I probably have a playlist here. they'll play a song, and they'll do slow music for the most part, but I still like slow songs. Like, what's the guy's name?
Starting point is 00:06:30 Lave. He has good slow songs for yoga. Never heard of him. Yeah. I like me better when I'm with you. Do you know that song? I can't sing I very good. Other stuff I can sing really good.
Starting point is 00:06:42 That one not. That's like, you don't know that? Because I like me better when I... No. Well, so he, to me, feels like pop yoga. But sometimes, like, they've played these Miranda Lamber songs in there or any other song, and I can't remember, I don't know the title of it.
Starting point is 00:06:55 So I'll remember a set of lyrics and then go Google them as soon as I get out of the class. Interesting. So I go like, I walk down three steps and I saw my dad. And I remember that and I'll go, okay, I'll walk down three steps and I saw my dad. And then I'll go just go Google that phrase and they'll pull up all the songs it's in.
Starting point is 00:07:09 So by the time the session's over, I'm searching like four sets of lyrics that I have to try to keep remembering through the whole class. Here's love. Oh, it's on the wall? Dang, did you load that up? Green middle?
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah. I don't mind. I guess Ray has it. And this time by time in New York City. Okay, so set up the scene. I've never been to a yoga class. So what's the, like, everyone's just stretching? What's going on here?
Starting point is 00:07:41 Well, that is one constant stretch. But it's like, all right, everybody down on your mat. So this week, let's go over the announcements first. And they walk over and they read the dumbness of announcements. They're like, church? Well, they go. Okay. So at 9.30, we're going to be doing flow yoga with Tiffany.
Starting point is 00:07:54 It's her second class ever. We hope you guys will sign up for that. By the way, we have 10% off our yoga socks if you want to get those. And there's 9% if it's your first time. Just come on in and tell them yogi, yogi, yoga, and get your 9% off. So they read like this list of dumb announcements, right? No one ever listens to. That's at the very beginning.
Starting point is 00:08:13 It's very beginning. And the music's playing behind them a little bit. And they're like, okay, okay, now what we're going to do, everybody, get on your mats. Then we're going to start in Child's Pose. Okay, what's the Child's Pose? Well, Child's Pose is when you get down on your... knees and then you lay forward. Okay. I know the poses. I've been enough. Like, I know what's going on for the most part. And you get in child's posing like, okay, now set your intention.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I'm going to turn it up a little bit. Now, what is the reason you're in this class? And honest to God, my intention is the same every class. I go, this suck. I just want to finish. But it's an inner. But some people like find real spirit in that crap. But you're not saying your intention out loud everyone. No. Okay. That'd be awesome though. I don't. I wish I did. When I say that, I can't find some sort of greater meaning in yoga. But I go, this is what I I put my head down and I go, try not to look at my watch more than five times. Because I wear a watch.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I want the only people that wear a watch. And I watch the time the whole time because I hate it. And so I'm in there. And they're like, okay, let's start with this. Everybody get up and we'll do Downward Dog. I know that one. And so, then, it's like you put your head down, you put your butt up in the air.
Starting point is 00:09:14 And they do this. They go, if anyone doesn't want to be touched, raise your hand now while everyone's a downward dog and we'll make sure not to touch you. No one's looking. And I always look to see who raises their hand. I do. I raise my head up and see who doesn't want to be touched.
Starting point is 00:09:26 You're such a rubble. I know, I know. And then you start to go through your flow first. So you go upward dog, downward dog. Hold on a bus. Do you ever want to get touched or no? You raise your hand? I don't want to be a hand raiser.
Starting point is 00:09:39 More than I don't want to be touched. I don't want to be seen as the guy who doesn't want to be touched. I don't want to be touched, but I'd rather be known as the guy that's chill. Okay. And usually, I haven't been to yoga in a while. But usually when I was single, I would go to yoga and try to find my, inspiration would be to find a cute girl in the class
Starting point is 00:09:59 and find a way to watch her without knowing I'm watching her Very sincere Try to find a mirror That I can like And also I need to find somebody That I can watch their moves too Because I don't
Starting point is 00:10:09 Once he gets advanced And we're doing swinging stars And butthole burpees I don't know any of the stuff Excuse me? Yeah sometimes Yeah yeah I was doing one-on-ones
Starting point is 00:10:18 With this guy named Cliff And he's like this is a butthole burpees Butho burpees on the thing But Maybe that's just on the one-on-one classes. You got this special. It's so stupid. I mean.
Starting point is 00:10:34 So then you get to like, like a third of the way through the class, she goes. And most of the time it's a she. She goes, okay, this is the only time we're going to let you have water. You can get water in any time you want it, but this is the only water break we're going to take. And so I'm freaking bottom to my throat. Yeah. Because I don't want to also be the guy who stops and shows, weakness. It has to get watered during the match.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Oh, okay. Also, I guess it's not called a match. No. The match. Because I'm fighting anyone, dude. Because I'm competing against everybody in there. They're just stretching. The class. And also I'm like judging dudes who have better bodies than me, and I hate them all. And I'm like, oh, he's got more abs than me. He's not wearing a shirt.
Starting point is 00:11:13 He's probably a total tool. But in real life, probably the greatest guy ever. And so I'm in this battle with myself, too, about how I'm judging and I shouldn't be, and he's probably a good dude. And I should just give him a shot and talk to him after class. Wow. All this is going on your head. I'm supposed to slow it down. I found a way to keep nine wheels going at once.
Starting point is 00:11:30 So I'm trying to find my mirror to look at whichever girl. I'm trying to find a mirror to watch whatever dude. I'm also torn there. I got a dude in one eye, I got a girl in another eye. I'm trying to get the moods right. I'm trying to make sure the butthole burpee doesn't get too extended. And by the time I know it, if I can get to 41 minutes on my watch, without going, this sucks, I've made it.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Wow. 41 minutes is my mark. And then after 41 minutes, you're doing all this stuff where you're doing stretches more than you're doing flows. Cool down. No, cool down. And sometimes I'll go to Savasana. And that never lasts as long as I want it to.
Starting point is 00:12:03 That's where you just lay down and relax. Dead man's pose. They're always like, Savasana is the hardest pose. I'm like, are you freaking kidding me? Because it's hard to stay still. No, it's not. It's easy to lay down. They're like, guys, it's the hardest pose.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Let's get in Savasana. But is your mind shutting off? My mind doesn't shut off? Exactly, so it's hard. That's what you're saying. So you lay down and shut your mind and your body? You're supposed to lay there and like be relaxed and like not. be distracted by anything.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Bobby's like, Delugamo, Lajumma, but I don't ever shut my mind off in that class. I'm in there to sweat and stretch
Starting point is 00:12:34 and get my heart rate up. And then I leave. And then I leave, this is what they do too. At the very, right, can you turn back on for me? They're like,
Starting point is 00:12:43 all right, and that's your 60s second of 60 second fast flow. You guys did great. Namaste. Take your time on the mat. If you need 10 minutes, it's, I'm already up.
Starting point is 00:12:55 As soon as they go, that's a wrap. I got my mat under my arm and I'm out the frigging door. Everybody's like trying to stall to be cool. That's like they're like taking it in. I'm done. Time to go. You gotta go home, but you gotta get out of here. And so I'm out.
Starting point is 00:13:10 It's too hot in that room. And what are you wearing? You wearing Lulus? You're wearing basketball shorts? Well, it's funny you bring that up. For a while when I was going kind of seriously, I would wear the tights underneath shorts. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Because it just felt like I needed to look like I belonged. I knew all the moves, so I should look fancy. But then I just got tired of putting the tights on. So then I just wore shorts and a cutoff shirt. I kind of look like hillbilly yoga. That's kind of what I am. It's a mixture of somebody who knows what they're doing and a little bit hillbilly. I don't wear my glasses.
Starting point is 00:13:41 They probably just slide off. They get foggy. Yeah. And I try to get me a spot not in the front row because I won in the front row last week. I told you guys, a person was like, don't be in the front row unless you're advanced. Nuh. Yeah, he said that. I talked about this on the show, right?
Starting point is 00:13:53 I don't know what I talked about in the show I did it on the show I was walking out They were like You took the front row Only for people that are advanced It's rude man I was like
Starting point is 00:14:01 I'll show you advanced What'd you do Nothing I didn't even say that In my head I did Into the back So I usually get in like The second row
Starting point is 00:14:09 And try to get a spot Corner Like off the edge of someone's mad So I can still see myself In the mirror So And then that's it
Starting point is 00:14:17 Then I go home And I'm sweating like crazy And that's the hot yoga Oh I won't do it Unless it's hot I don't sweat enough And normal yoga. And I'm not going for some peace of mind.
Starting point is 00:14:26 He's going for the sweat. I'm going for the workout. So that's what yoga is. Oh, this whole thing about law. That's what I was talking about. I don't even know why I got into this. Sorry, I asked you. Sorry. He's got another song. Kind of like this song now. This is all my girlfriend listens to. Lob and Bieber and Harry Styles in 90s country. That's a good mix. And I picked pretty much the stuff we watch.
Starting point is 00:14:56 She dominates the stuff we listen to. Because I'm fine with whatever. Hold out, Ray, let me play this. Do you have Mean It from Love? What do you have from him? Check him. No? Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:10 Do you have F, I'm lonely? What do you have from him in there, Ray? You know, I'm so tired. We know that. What are he smiling at? What do you have? Lonely? F. I'm lonely. Same song? Play that one. L.A. U.
Starting point is 00:15:32 And Hannah Marie? Yeah. All right. Is this about the internet? You know the song Morgan? It's about the internet? Yeah, all these songs she listens to, I listen to. Yeah. Sounds about right.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Make sure this is the right one. It kind of looks like Eminem if Eminem was an Man, since you walk right through that door But I still think He kind of looks like Eminem if Eminem was an art school teacher He's like I'm trying to picture that
Starting point is 00:16:11 He looks like a soft, friendly Eminem When he had white hair Like he'd be able to like a sweater Uh huh Is that see what you're saying? No, this is not the song I know I wonder what's the other song I don't know this song
Starting point is 00:16:25 but um oh i know what it is tattoos together you ever heard that one this is a good one i'm an expert now sadly well i don't want to do it because it says bad words i guess we could put say bad words i'm on the air but whatever anyway what was my point with all that i don't really remember yoga the music in yoga
Starting point is 00:16:54 no i think that that started because of the story yeah like box Oh, boxing. Teaching. Oh, a class, playlist. Oh, rarely do you ever go up to a teacher after class? Except for a playlist. Yes, thank you.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Got it. So here's my point with all that. Found it. Like a great playlist makes the class. It's so true. I mean, I write this Peloton. Unless that's a good music class, I suffer. So I will go up to a teacher and I will go, hey, nice playlist sometimes.
Starting point is 00:17:27 I will do that. Just a walk. just to walk out and mention. And I never stop and say it. But sometimes people will go in and be like talking about moves and stuff in yoga. And like asking questions. And I'm like, I can't get out of the feet don't feel me now. Let me out of this place.
Starting point is 00:17:41 I don't remember where that was all going, but that's fun. Thanks, Eddie. Yeah, thanks, man. I've never been to a yoga class. You haven't? No, never. So I kind of got the idea of what it's like through your experiences. This depends where you go.
Starting point is 00:17:52 But yeah. Yeah, I go to this place called Hot Yoga Plus. Is that the one right here down the street? It's right next to my gym. On Church Street. Yeah. Which one do you go to? I go either there or Hot Yoga East Nashville, which is on Maine.
Starting point is 00:18:05 And it's very similar. Like good music, good flow, typically. Well, I get nothing else to say. Are you done? Everybody done? Be good. I forgot what I was talking about it there. I feel like I'm getting older and that happens more.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Now I'm frustrated with myself. What was I saying? I'm 39 and I'm like, I don't even know I came into their kitchen. Like I'm looking around. Like, I know I walked in here for something. and so I opened the refrigerator and I was like, no, nothing in the here I was looking for. Look around and then I go sit back down on the couch
Starting point is 00:18:37 and I realize, oh, I was going to get the dog a treat. I didn't even remember it. It took me 12 seconds to get from the couch all the way back there and nope, nothing. All right, here we go. Here is Monday show. I hope you enjoy it. I hope that
Starting point is 00:18:51 cool. I hope that you'd share it with your Instagram stories and tell your friends about us because we don't have anybody. doing commercials for us, except for us and you guys. So thank you very much. Starting point is 00:23:38 Hey, what's the hat? I'll go first. So Justin Bieber put out a record about a week, a couple days ago. You ever listen to it? I've listened to some songs of it, but not the whole thing. So I've never met Justin Bieber in person.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Have you? No. Never met Justin Bieber. He stopped by the station once, and they were like, hey, there's his little Canadian YouTube kid. And I was like, pass. Pass, yeah. It'll never be anything.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Dang it. So I didn't get to meet Justin Bieber. But Mike D went through some old files and found a phone interview I did with him on June 8th, 2012. Oh, wow. Before his album Believe came out. Was that the first one? The second one? So was Baby already a hit?
Starting point is 00:24:19 Does he sound like a kid in these clubs? Younger. Okay. Here I am asking Justin Bieber about his new TV special and album. And the funny part is, I guess, when they called Drops Off. Here we go. To finally have people here What I've been working so hard on is
Starting point is 00:24:37 It's really special You know, I'm really excited for people to hear it And so you're all over the place In different countries As you're doing the show, right? Justin Hello What's just happening here?
Starting point is 00:24:46 I don't know Hey Justin Hey Justin, it's Bobby, I love you He was still there That's very funny That's very funny Dude, you talk to Justin Bieber That's crazy
Starting point is 00:24:56 And here it is It says Bobby asked Justin Bieber What he's watching on his iPad When you travel around Do you have an iPad full of TV shows What are you watching? Well, I like TV shows and stuff Yeah, what are you downloading? What's your favorite show to watch?
Starting point is 00:25:10 I mean, I watch a lot of family guys. Do you watch Game of Thrones at all, or like Breaking Bad? I mean, I've seen Breaking Bad, like, I think a couple times, but I don't watch Game of Thrones. Fun? Yeah, I have kind of met Justin B. 2012. Yeah, so Mike D gave me those clips early this morning
Starting point is 00:25:26 was like, hey, if you want to reference this. But I do like yummy. Yeah, you got that yummy, yum, yum, yeah, yum, Yeah, you got they yummy Yum So I've had to have All right, that's what's happening with me this morning
Starting point is 00:25:47 That's what's on my mind Let's go over to Amy Hey, what's the hatch? So I've had to have talks with my son Stevenson before About boundaries with girls He's very cuddly, like all kinds Like girls is his age,
Starting point is 00:26:01 Girls not his age, He's just very like always latches on and he got invited to a play date at a girl's house after church. So he went with over there and they were playing hide and seek. And I guess once they found each other, he decided to lay one on her on the cheek. A kiss. But she was not prepared for that. And she was thrown by it.
Starting point is 00:26:20 And she went and told her mom. Stevenson just kissed me. And the mom was nervous to tell me because everything's fine. She's like, I don't want you to worry about it at all. I just thought maybe you should know that I said, something and she was just a little uncomfortable. She still loves Stevenson. They're still friends are going to play, but like she doesn't want him kissing on her. I get that. So I kind of had to talk with him. Like you can't, you can't just kiss people. What's his response to that? He's just like, oh,
Starting point is 00:26:47 like he, he just, he didn't realize he was doing anything wrong. But I know kissing, that's the next level. Like he's always been cuddly, but he's never been like, mm. And I thought, buddy, is it because I kiss on you all the time? Because I do. I kiss on him a lot. And maybe he thought, oh, okay, this is what we do. I explained him like kisses right now or for mom. That's it. He's only kissing me. Is he kiss a sister? No.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Oh, no. No. They don't, no. He doesn't even, he don't even, they don't, no. They like fight more than anything right now, which I think is cool. Yeah. Because it makes them real legit brother and sister because they're adopted and they both have different birth moms.
Starting point is 00:27:26 And so they're really not biological. But when they act like that, I'm like, yeah, this is like, I probably am a little bit too hyped up about it because most parents probably be. be like, kids, get along. And I'm like, I like it. Does that mom still want Stevenson to go play with her daughter? Yeah. She's fine.
Starting point is 00:27:41 And I even asked permission that I could tell this story from her and from Stevenson, just to make sure. Because I didn't want to, I mean, it was a sensitive thing. Like, both the moms and that, we were kind of laughing at it. But also, it is a big deal for the girl. Like, she didn't want to be kissed. And my son's one over their house kissing on her. I'm like, great. We're not going to get invited anywhere.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Hey. What's the hat? Producer Eddie, what's happening? I watch a lot of college sports at home, you know, and the kids are watching too. But for the last like couple months, really, my son, junior, junior, he's six years old. He just keeps loving Florida State.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Loving on Florida State. He mentioned to me the other day, he's like, I want to go to Florida when I grow up. He loves the state of Florida. He loves the Jacksonville Jaguars, and I don't understand what it is. So it's kind of funny to see like,
Starting point is 00:28:28 so, okay, I mean, it'd be cool to see if he actually does one day go to Florida State. Yeah. You were a Cowboys fan. Yeah. But that's because Dallas was close, right? Yeah, Dallas was close. College, I never really even thought about college.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Rudy was out, you know, when I was in high school, the movie Rudy. So Notre Dame sounded kind of cool to me. Well, I grew up in Arkansas, we didn't have pro teams. So it's all razorbacks for me and didn't have a pro team. Yeah. Some people like the Cowboys, feel like the St. Louis Cardinals for baseball. I just never had a pro team because it wasn't what was around. But where did you want to go to college?
Starting point is 00:28:58 Do you remember, like, thinking like... Yeah, for sure, University of Arkansas. No doubt. And I was going. And I remember when I got the grades to go, but then work hit. and I wasn't able to. And because I had to work in radio and I had to have a job.
Starting point is 00:29:08 I was 17. I was like, well, I got to change up now and go to. But it's always been, now my dream is for the University of Arkansas to go, hey,
Starting point is 00:29:15 we will give him an honorary doctorate. Yes. Oh, yeah, that'd be good. It's just an honorary. It doesn't even matter. Oh, but you can act like it's your own, right? Oh, I would. Yeah, you will.
Starting point is 00:29:22 Yeah. You show up to graduation and walk across the stage. That's been the goal. Hey, there you go. Hey, what's the hat? Hey, glad you guys are here with us. Here's the Bobby Bones show podcast.
Starting point is 00:29:34 segment of the day. We get a lot of emails from you guys. Let's open up the mailbag. Bobby's Mailbag. Hey Bobby, love the show. He writes, I have a corporate job where I'm friends with a coworker. We are both in our late 20s. Have a lot of common, but never really hang out outside of work, but I do follow her on
Starting point is 00:29:55 Instagram. The thing is, she takes very attractive bikini and borderline modeling pictures. She posts them on her Instagram account. My question is, what is the etiquette? The only reason I know about this account is that Instagram suggested her after I put her number on my cell phone. I feel like hitting like is pervy. I feel like not hitting like makes me feel like I've been lurking and maybe she's like, why is any like in my pictures? What is etiquette when a coworker post sexy pictures of themselves on social?
Starting point is 00:30:29 Do I acknowledge them help, signed TJ? It's an interesting question. I mean, that's quite the predicament. Well, I would say this. First of all, you have a girlfriend or wife? That's something. Because if you have a girlfriend or wife, not best to be liking, it's only drama to be liking sexy pictures of anybody else.
Starting point is 00:30:49 It's risky. You can like them in your heart. Where it matters. Double tap it in your mind. Oh, my gosh. But if you double tap it on the screen. Yeah, you're going to be dealing with some stuff. So I would eliminate the liking if you have a girlfriend or a wife.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Perfect. Secondly, if you don't, people have an Instagram so people will like their pictures. I don't see a problem with it because it's public. The only problem I can see is if it's messing someone in your life up. Otherwise, it's Instagram. They're posing pictures. You can like it. No big deal.
Starting point is 00:31:21 What do you think? Yeah. I mean, I guess it's fine. Yeah, like Bobby's saying, if it's not going to affect a relationship in your life, it's fine to like it. I don't know because he said, I don't know, maybe. is he, if he doesn't have in a relationship to somebody else, maybe he likes her? Is he worried about that? That's not on there at all.
Starting point is 00:31:38 Not at all. Okay, I'm just like taking the story elsewhere. I think it's fine to like it. Have you ever been in this predicament, Bobby? Well, for a while, that when you were posting your racies, I called it? I did not. In a one piece? Yeah, he's lying. Hey. Yes, ma'am. Amy has no races. Amy. You know, I've never had to do. There was one girl I know that would post
Starting point is 00:32:01 extremely small underwear pictures. And I just kind of felt bad. Who's that? We know her? I do. Okay. And I was just like, I don't like them.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I did. Oh, okay. Just be nice. But at the time, I didn't have a girlfriend. If I had a girlfriend, I wouldn't have. And also, Instagram now doesn't show you, because it was a time when you could see what everybody was liking. Was this an issue in your last relationship, Morgan?
Starting point is 00:32:25 Yeah, it was. Or your boyfriend at the time was liking, like. Yeah, and Instagram used to have the old Explorer tab, so you could see what everybody liked. So I would always see him liking racy photos. And I'm like, is this necessary to be a part of our relationship? So if you're in a relationship, definitely stay away. It's just not worth it.
Starting point is 00:32:43 That's what I'm going to say. If you're in a relationship, you shouldn't. If you're not, she's not putting them up there to be ignored. And if you do like them, like them. And if you don't, don't. But I would just say, be normal unless you're in a relationship. It is weird, though. If like the person you're sitting next to in the cubicle who shows up in glasses
Starting point is 00:33:00 and he said... And all of a sudden, she's in a pair of chaps. Right. And he said he only found it because it showed up in his explore or whatever. So it's not like it was an account she told him about.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Yeah. But if you put in someone's cell phone number, it does quickly track back to them and then see what their account is. Oh, really? Yeah. I don't know that. It recommends a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:33:19 Oh. Yeah, yeah. All right, there you go. That's the mailbag. Close it up. And that was Bobby's Mailbag. We'll put that on our Facebook page too if you want to comment on that.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Just go to bobbybones. and find our Facebook link and appreciate that. The Bobby Bones Show. Big Three Stories. Let's go over to our producer, Ramundo. Ramundo, what you got over there? In New Orleans, a man was killed Saturday night after being struck by a float at the Mardi Gras parade.
Starting point is 00:33:43 It's the second fatality in four nights at the Mardi Gras celebrations. In other news, officials are saying that smart speakers record users up to 19 times a day because they're set off by random words picked up from the TV that's in the same room. And finally, Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, they're going to be remembered at the memorial at the stable center at Los Angeles today, noon central. You can watch it online at CBSNews.com. I'm going to play the theme song to a movie, name the movie. These are all major blockbusters.
Starting point is 00:34:14 Amy's going to play. Our video producer Eddie is going to play and Morgan number two is going to play. Missing his lunchbox well because he's not here. All right, here we go. This is an example and just say it when you know it. Go ahead. Rocky. Would you know that?
Starting point is 00:34:29 Eventually. Not that fast. Would you know that? Yeah, it'd take me a minute. You can write your answers down and we'll hold them up here. Here we go. Name this movie theme. Amy, what is that?
Starting point is 00:34:53 Superman? Is that not right? No, but it does sound close. It does, very close. Same conductor. Bummer. John Williams? That's right.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Eddie, what is that? That's the most beautiful sound ever, Star Wars. Morgan. Star Wars. Next one up. No, no, it's not elimination. Okay. Bye, Amy.
Starting point is 00:35:13 I was all talking trash, Art. What movie theme song is this? I'm in. Morgan, waiting on you. I'm in. Amy. James Bond.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Eddie? Mission Impossible. Morgan? Oh, shoot. It's Mission Impossible. Yeah. Well, it sounds a lot like James Bond. It does.
Starting point is 00:35:43 You're right, Amy. James Bond. Here we go. Next up. Jaws? Sorry, it's James Bond. Is it really? No.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Eddie? That's Jaws. Morgan? Jaws. Yeah, go. Good. Okay, I have three. I'll do two more.
Starting point is 00:36:07 This one will be a little tougher. See if you can name this movie theme. How we feel? Yeah, I'm in. Amy rolled her eyes at me. Not at you. I'm in. What do you have?
Starting point is 00:36:39 Batman. Eddie? The Born movies. You're both wrong. Morgan number two? Iron Man? The Avengers. Oh, I knew it was a Marvel movie.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Does that count? No. Mike D. It can't, right? Because Iron Man says, Oh, yeah. oil. All right.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Dan, da-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na. All right, one final one. Name this movie theme. I'm in. I'm in. All right, let's start with Amy, who's in the last place but has no chance of winning. What is your answer? James Vaughn.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Okay. Morgan number two, you can't actually still win. What is it? Pink Panther. Well, you lose. So it doesn't even matter. Not a bad guess, Morgan number two. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:37:35 007. James Vaughan. There you go. Eddie, you are a winner. What else is new? Nice job, buddy. You wouldn't happen to have the Pink Panther theme, which?
Starting point is 00:37:45 No, I don't. But it goes like, it goes like this. It goes, ban. Bahan, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Bon show. I want to say good morning to everyone,
Starting point is 00:37:59 except the soccer player who bid a guy's ding-dong. What? Like, during a game? What? Two amateur soccer players. players in France got into a fight after their match. The unnamed victim in the fight was spent it for six months because he got to the
Starting point is 00:38:16 fight in the first place. The other unnamed guy was blocked from play for five years because his fight finishing move was lunging face first into the guy's crotch and then just biting. Wow. Oh, goodness. An injury that ended up needing 10 stitches to patch up and the guy had to like stop moving period for days. Wow.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Boy, I tell you, if you're in a real fight, though, because I train, right? I box train, but to stay in shape, not to get into any purse winning vows. But about once every couple of weeks, we'll do real life training, just in case training, he calls it. Where he goes, okay, if someone comes up to you and tries to fight you, this is what you do. And it's never stand up and fight like punches. He goes, do you see people who are like standing in trying to punch each other? That's not real fighting. What he teaches me is to go one to run, like one, two, get out.
Starting point is 00:39:06 one, two, defend yourself and get it because nobody wants to sit in. But the tactic is if someone gets close to you and you feel in danger, you bite, you claw, you scratch, you, I don't go face first as my move. I don't go. All right. Finally, one on one. One two bites. Aye, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:21 It's never one, two bite. But if it were getting down to it and I felt I would bite the crap out of someone. Right. I'd bite anything. Yeah. The move that we work on the most is, he's like, hey, if you're in public and you feel like there be people drinking around you and because sometimes guys will come up and have issues with me because they've had too much to drink and maybe the girl's like oh he's funny and they're like
Starting point is 00:39:41 oh i'm show fucking damn he's like have a drink and just you don't toss a drink on him but just like lobby or glass at them and people flinch instinctually and then boom punch and get out nice and so it's never like stand there put your dukes up and you show him never so don't totally hate his bider you kind of understand it a little bit i mean i get it if he was threatened but as his move if he practices that with his trainer He's like, okay, so when do I go on for the bite? That's weird. But good morning to everyone except this guy who bit the guy's peepee.
Starting point is 00:40:09 There you go. Oh, boy. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30 second skinny. Congratulations to Dan and Shay's Shay Mooney and his wife, Hannah. They welcome their second son over the weekend. His name is Ames Alexander Mooney. Willie Nelson is dropping his 70th album called First Rose of Spring on April 24th,
Starting point is 00:40:31 just five days before Willie turns 86. the album will feature songs written by Willie, as well as artist Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, and Randy Houser. Here's a first look at it. Summertime would have never started. Time would never end. Eric Church shared that he's been working on his next album in North Carolina and then followed up that news with a photo on social media of him in the studio,
Starting point is 00:41:08 along with the caption, Mountains of North Carolina coming soon. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the. Good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A high school student in Wisconsin knew exactly what to do to save his friend during a scary choking incident in the cafeteria.
Starting point is 00:41:27 The surveillance footage shows freshman Ian Brown jump on to help his classmate Will Olson when he started choking from across the lunch table. Brown says he noticed a color change in his neck and knew he needed to help. He did the heimlich. The police department says Brown has been part of their police explorer program where he learned first aid training and was able to carry. that out over a real life emergency. Wow.
Starting point is 00:41:49 If someone was choking, what would you do? I would try to help, but first I would call 911 one, because I don't know that I know the right. For choking? Well, I mean, yeah, I want to make sure somebody comes, and then I guess I would, like, try to pat him on the back or do the heimlich. I'm not saying you're wrong. I just don't think I'd go to my phone first. Oh.
Starting point is 00:42:06 I just don't have the confidence in myself that I could get the, do the Heinleck right. I don't even know that I would do it right, but I would start. I guess we yell? I would, I don't think that gets it out. I would start pulling that sternum, right? Yeah. I once choked on a Dorito and had to like get it out of myself and bang myself on a table to get it out. You did it to yourself?
Starting point is 00:42:29 I had to. Wow. Because it was a little square and it lodged right in my throat and I could not breathe. And so I'm just like banging my sternum on a table. And finally it came out, but I don't know that was the reason. I think mostly it was me going, but shout out to this kid for making that right decision. his name is Will Olson, well, Will Elson was the hurt one. Ian Brown. Shout out, Ian Brown. That's what it's all about right there.
Starting point is 00:42:51 That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones Show. Bonehead. And Eddie, filling in for lunchbox. Police in Indiana have been arresting a guy and they realize it's the same dude that they arrest over and over because he has a tattoo on his head that says, crime pays. I saw his picture. I didn't know it was over. I thought it was a one-time thing and it was funny. No, and he's kind of become viral because he's showing.
Starting point is 00:43:14 up on Live PD, which is that TV show on A&E. Guys, I've watched this episode. I've seen this dude. I know who this guy is. And so every time they arrest him, like, oh, my gosh, you again? Crime Pays. He's got Crime Pays on his forehead. He's got a tattoo across his cheek, a couple neck tattoos.
Starting point is 00:43:32 He looks like a guy that would get Crime Pays tattooed on his forehead. What does that even mean? Crime Pays? What do we think it means? Probably he thinks he's got a pretty good life because of the crimes he's committed. Oh, so he's proud of it. If his crime is dealing drugs, it pays. It's money.
Starting point is 00:43:48 The definition of crime doesn't pay is that the trouble is worth more than the crime. But apparently if crime pays, that the trouble is worth the crime because he's probably getting someone, you know. That's what he's saying. And why would you get that tattooed on your face? It identifies you just immediately. All right, there you go. That's your bonehead story of the day. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 00:47:55 I said, what's that? She said, I want to talk about food. I said, why do you want to talk about food? She goes, I love it so much. And that's where this segment started right now. It's called Food World. It's time for Food World. Num, Num, Num, Num, with Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:48:07 There are now Sour Patch Kid ice cream pops that consist of, of a outside shell that's redberry flavored with vanilla ice cream in the middle and sour patch kids candy placed throughout the ice cream. Hmm. How good does that sound? Sounds extremely extra. But it sounds pretty good. Yeah, I mean, I'm sure it's yummy.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Let me ask a question about sour, like sweet, sour. Why do people say savory and not salty? Like, people like, what do you like? Sweet or savory? Like when do you use savory in your normal? I don't even know what that means. But does it savory mean salty? Like what would you?
Starting point is 00:48:47 I think so. I think it means more of like, yeah, like the rich salty flavor. Yeah, but that has to be what it is. Belonging to the category that is salty, sometimes spicy, just rather than sweet. But I'm always like, why don't you just hit me with that salty? You too good for salty? Hey, fancy word guy. You too good to say salty?
Starting point is 00:49:08 I got to say savory. So, but I guess would... What are these sour patch kids? Would that be savory? No, that's sour. I did sweet and sour mix. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:19 All right. Well, would you eat this, Amy? I would try a bite. It's not my jam. I'm more of a chocolate person. What's your favorite meal? I like, oh, I know this is more of a genre. Hit it.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Mexican. But like, you get a plate. What's on your plate? One in two lattes? You get it like an entree in three sides. go. Tacos, rice, beans, chips, casso, salsa. That's nine of them.
Starting point is 00:49:46 It's way too many. Margarita. I'm basically, picture me at Chewis with all the things. What about you? Oh, I know yours. Chicken fried steak with white gravy. Fried okra. Mashed potatoes with white gravy and corn.
Starting point is 00:49:59 If I get a side in three. Cream corn? No, regular. I like cream corn, but regular corn. Okay. Hit me with the corn. Man, that's country cooking. Well, I'm from Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:50:09 What do you want from me? Eddie? Pizza Hut. Pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Pan pizza. Deep dish. You know, I got into a conversation about pizza the other day.
Starting point is 00:50:18 You guys ever go to Mazios back in the day? Did you ever have Mazios? Was it where you're from? And the debate was what was better at Thin' Crust Pizza Hut or Mazios. Depending on our Oklahoma listeners may know Mazios or Mazios, but we used to have Mazios in Arkansas too.
Starting point is 00:50:30 But I love Pizza Hut thin crust. Yeah. It's my favorite because that was the treat when I was a kid. It's funny how that stuff still remains true. And you still have those Pizza Hut shoes that we need to use and order pizza front of it.
Starting point is 00:50:40 So yours is Pizza Hut Pizza, straight up. You don't need any sides. Nope, pepperoni mushroom. That's my toppings and that's it. Do you dip it in ranch? Sure. The crust.
Starting point is 00:50:48 Just the crust. Morgan number two? I'm going to get fun of, made fun up for how I say this, but I like Italian food. So bread and oil to start. Italian. Wait for it.
Starting point is 00:50:58 Bread and oil to start and then some vettuccini Alfredo and then a hot fudge sundae if I'm not counting my calories. Is this like a side? That's a dessert. This is like prison last meal. It's like part of my meal always.
Starting point is 00:51:11 I think after Fetuccini-Alfredo you give up on calories. All right, Morgan number two, thank you for that. That is Food World with Morgan number two. Num, num, num, num, num, num. That was Food World with Morgan number two. Num, num, num, no, no. The Babo Show.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Here's Amy's pile of stories. So last night on American Idol, there was a scary moment where there was a propane link. Leak, excuse me, and it was, it was legit, it was real. Like, it wasn't like a setup thing. I need the behind the scenes from Bobby. I was outside in the back and I'm working with contestants and I hear, hey, there's a
Starting point is 00:51:44 propane leak. Not a big deal, but we got to get everybody out of here. Cool. I went Nate. This is a little dramatic on the, like Katie fell down but she was kidding. Literally they said, hey, guys, there's a leak. Just go outside. And I think the judges went to their little hole. I went to my hole. That was it. And we came back. The annoying thing was we were pretty close to finishing that day. And we had to wait like two hours, but it was nothing. So Katie Perry didn't really pass out. For sure, better. No, even on the show last night she didn't pass out.
Starting point is 00:52:14 They showed that she was just kind of kidding. I know, but some people online, if you're just scrolling through online, it looks like Katie Perry passed out from a propane link. Well, the headlines said that. I think they tried to make it feel like that until last night. And then she was just being goofy. Yeah. It really wasn't much. The firefighters did come.
Starting point is 00:52:29 All that was real. And then the firefighters get up and sing with Lionel, which was fun. But I'm not in the room for most of that. I'm out. Wherever the contestants are, I'm one after. the other working with them. Sometimes I don't even know what's happened in the room. I don't know who gets through until I look at a page at the end of the day and I'm like, oh, I'm glad they got through. Oh, I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:52:47 They got through. They kind of sucked. It's that kind of stuff. Well, speaking of people that got through, I want to hear from you about Jovan Webb. Who? Jovan Webb. Oh, Joven. Yeah. I mean, did you see him? Yeah, I watched it later on YouTube and so good. Yeah. Here we can play. I think he did a whipping post, right? Is that right? Here we go. I mean, you're seeing the people cut through that just aren't pop singers. There's some, but it's always people who come in with some sort of blues, rock, piano,
Starting point is 00:53:28 like slightly edged music sensibility. It's rarely now people that just come in and just give a really solid, pure vocal. It's always somebody's got a little bit of character to their voice or a little character to their story. His story is that his mom dying. He came home and his mom was passed out. And then ambulance came and they're like, oh, she's good. And then she died right after that. And so he's like, man, this has been tough.
Starting point is 00:53:53 And then he goes in and tells a story which we all empathize or sympathize. And then he goes in and does a song like that. And you're like, dang, from that story and hearing your voice. I think Luke said it last night. He could like see his whole life story in that song. It was really good. I really like the guy anyway, like aside from the song. But it was good.
Starting point is 00:54:10 But that's the most of the people you're seeing get through with some kind of texture to their story and their voice. And frankly, it's like that with everything. thing now. Not just in music. I mean, you're saying even in politics, people that aren't right down the middle as far as like, I'm just a perfect politician. They're the ones that are resonating with people. On both sides, too, by the way. All right, what else? So you can change your mood immediately simply by doing this. And it's winning the lottery, finding $10. Well, yeah. Eating pizza. You can't control that. Oh. Well, I mean, the pizza part, you could. But really, it's just simply dressing up. So if you're,
Starting point is 00:54:46 waking up or you're feeling like, oh, today, you're just not feeling it. We'll go to your closet. And for women, a dress or a cute outfit could do it. And for men, it's pants and a tie. But I was like, wait, what does Bobby consider dressing up for him? Because it isn't a tie for you? I mean, I wear a tie all the time. So, I mean, I guess it just depends. I mean, I wear, I perform in a most time. So I wear a tie probably more. What was your, what do you say tie for? I just didn't know, like, what you're, like, if you were coming into here and you needed to, like, be in a better mood, you probably wouldn't wear a tie. I would not wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning. Maybe you'd wear a button down.
Starting point is 00:55:19 No, that doesn't affect me. I would wear sweats for me. I think I'm the opposite. Oh, you are. Because this works for me. Like if I'm feeling down, and when I saw this, I was like, oh, I need to share with people
Starting point is 00:55:28 because it's so easy. Facebook is offering a take-a-break feature. Now, you have to have gone from in a relationship to single, and then it'll pop up and they'll offer it to you. And you can take a break from whoever you just ended the relationship. So it's not like you have to, you don't have to quit following them
Starting point is 00:55:45 or it's not totally over like that. But if they post anything or if any of your friends repost something of them, it'll be muted. Great feature, huh? Yeah. It's called take a break. Does it have to be someone you were in a relationship with?
Starting point is 00:55:57 It says the only way you can activate it is if you go from in a relationship to single. Yeah. I mean, you can take a break from any of them by muting them. Yeah, you can mute. But I think to take a break thing means eventually they'll come back, but you don't want to see all their crap right now. Right away.
Starting point is 00:56:12 That's a really cool feature. I wonder if you can see. set, you'll take a break to 30 days, six months. I like the timeline. Yeah, yeah, life. That is a good one, though. All right, Amy, is that it? Yeah, I'm Amy.
Starting point is 00:56:24 That's my pile. There you go. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So I've got a woman here we can all look up to. She's 88 years old.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Her name is Marilyn Mather. And twice a month, she goes to the grocery store and does three hours of shopping. She bargain hunt. She finds all the deals. She loads her car up and donates the groceries to those in need. And she's been doing this for 40 years. Wow. Well, first of all, she's 88 and still rocking.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Yeah. She wakes up at 4.30 in the morning. She leaves the house in the dark, heads to the closest grocery store where, yeah, she could spend as much to three hours shopping trying to get all the stuff she needs. You know they're bringing back supermarket sweep. Oh, they are? That's such a great show. I don't know if Morgan number two, you may be too young for that show.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Yeah, I've never seen it before. I used to want to be on it. So back in the day, there was a game show called Supermarket. supermarket sweep where these three teams of two, you would have like two minutes to go into the grocery store and get as much as you can, fill the carts, come get another cart, and then whomever had the highest total one. So mostly you'd run to like the hams, the big meats. Your stuff was expensive. Yeah. And then at the end, there's a game where you find the clues all to the supermarket. It's like, this spice means, and you forgot out of the spice, I got another clue
Starting point is 00:57:38 is a really great game back in the day, and they're bringing it back. And I think Leslie, what's her name, Mike? Leslie Jones. from SNL is going to host it. Oh, that'd be cool. Yeah, so shout out to her, who's 88. This woman's shopping for the needy, but also shout out to whoever brought supermarket sweet bag. Because that's a good show. Like a bonus tell me something good. All right, there you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Congratulations out to Dan and Shay's Shay Mooney and his wife Hannah. They welcome their second son over the weekend and his name is Ames Alexander Mooney. I saw the picture of the baby and I thought, well, that's a cute baby. But then I thought, they're putting out all the names. He could get his identity thieves. That's what my mind goes. Because his name is Ames.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Alexander Mooney. All his names are out there. He needs to get lifelog. That's what I thought. On my computer this weekend. What else? Willie Nelson is dropping his 70th album. It's called First Rose of Spring on April 24th.
Starting point is 00:58:41 And it'll be five days before Willie turns. 87 and that album is going to feature songs written by Willie as well as artists like Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, and Randy Houser. Well, I listened to it over the weekend. It's one song that's out right now. What's the song? It's the title song, First Rose of Spring. So I listened to it.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Ram Munoz, can you play a little bit of this? Like First Rose Spring. And I love Willie Nelson, but man, it's getting harder. He's struggling. Yeah. Somertime would have never started. 70 albums, man. I know.
Starting point is 00:59:12 Like 70. Crazy. Unbelievable. Crazy. I didn't. This may be the first Willie stuff I didn't automatically save because I just hurt for him a little bit
Starting point is 00:59:22 that he sounded so old. And you know what? He is old. And good for him. I hope we last to be 80 and still be out playing. Yeah. But a little bit of was like,
Starting point is 00:59:29 oh man. 70 albums. My cousin saw him this weekend and he said, he's like, I just can't believe he's still touring. I think he'll probably do it until the day he dies.
Starting point is 00:59:40 Like, really. How was the show? He said it was good. I mean, it wasn't great. It wasn't old Willie, but he said he still has energy and he still put his whole best out there. What else? Morgan number two?
Starting point is 00:59:50 And Eric Church shared that he's been working on his next album in North Carolina instead of Nashville. And then he followed up that news with a photo on social media of him in the studio, along with the caption, Mountains of North Carolina coming soon. Okay. There you have it. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. Come on, Bobby. All right, walking from the green room now is Chris Kirkpatrick.
Starting point is 01:00:19 You may know him from In Sync. We know him as about to be our fill-in for lunchbox. He's walking into it right now. So give me a little music here, Raymond. Go. Here he is walking in the studio now. Chris Carpatrick, everybody filling out. Hey, man.
Starting point is 01:00:35 Come on it over here. I haven't met Chris. I know Eddie has. I know Scoobo Steve has. Eddie, you guys met doing what? You're mixing out. We were doing a charity event where we were surfing. And that was fun.
Starting point is 01:00:47 I mean, we were talking about it a second ago. He said that he wasn't sore it. I'm like, dude, I hurt my knee. doing that. I just thought it was funny that I met most of your guys already when they're in their speedos. What is the show then? I need to... That's an everyday thing for us. I asked them to give me some tidbits about you Chris. Oh boy. Well, this is the one thing
Starting point is 01:01:05 that stuck out to me. It says, your favorite show is Game of Thrones, but it's not that stuck out. It's that you've never seen Friends, Breaking Bad, or Seinfeld. Yeah. Not an episode of me any of those? No, I was just talking about how crazy life can become when you've never seen Seinfeld because there's always that friend you have that no matter where you're at there like oh yeah this is like that Seinfeld episode and I'm like no this is like me going to the store I don't know what you're talking about this is kind of crazy but and friends is the same way somebody's always got a friend's reference and I think it now is that point where I'm like you know what I'm just not going to watch it because then that's kind of a cool thing right the movie Titanic nope
Starting point is 01:01:45 well you've not seen Titanic either I haven't seen out but we're not going to tell you what happens at the end yeah It's kind of obvious. That was my joke. I was like, no, I think I know how it ends. Well, we're glad you're here. Good to meet you. We're going to do Amy's joke. Do you have a joke?
Starting point is 01:02:01 Do you have a joke? Do you tell you what's going to happen here this next? Yeah, oh yeah. Okay, cool. Amy, you're up first. Here we go, Ramundo. The morning corny. What kind of noise does a witch's vehicle make?
Starting point is 01:02:12 What kind of noise does a witch's vehicle make? Broom, broom. All right, good. That was the morning corny. All right, Chris, we're coming over to you. Ray, we're going to hit it again or just let him go. Hit it? Okay, here we go. All right, mine's a little bit more.
Starting point is 01:02:29 Come on there, yeah. And go. Mine's a little bit more for kids, so mine was, how do you catch a unique rabbit? How do you catch a unique rabbit? Unique up on it. There it is. Hold on. Hold on. How do you catch a tame rabbit?
Starting point is 01:02:43 How do you catch a tame rabbit? Tame way, unique up on it. Do you have a kid? Yeah, I do. The voice. You can tell. It sounds like you've recently used that voice. I did.
Starting point is 01:02:51 How old is your kid? He's about two and a half. It's a boy? Yeah, he doesn't get it. But I still tell him the jokes and we sing. First kid? First kid. How old were you when you had your first kid?
Starting point is 01:03:02 Old. Let's see, I'm 40. I was probably 40, 45. So I don't have kids. I'm 39. And I start to worry, oh, should I just give up? No. No, it's a perfect time because now, you know, now I make time for him.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Now I'm always around him. I get, you know, I get to leave on the weekends, do gigs and come back. and I'm with my kid 24-7. If I would have had him when we were on tour, I'd never see him. Are you singing? Are you dancing? Are you doing both?
Starting point is 01:03:28 A little of both. Can you still dance? No. That's quick. I do a lot of hosting, a lot of singing, a lot of performing here and there. You know, autographs. I do a bunch of charity foundation stuff.
Starting point is 01:03:41 And, you know, just try to stay busy and pay rent. I have spent some time with Joey when I did dancing with the stars. You know, he came back. couple times. Yeah. Are you guys so pretty close? Yeah. Actually,
Starting point is 01:03:53 Joey, Justin and I are really close, and Joey and I are really close. I just saw him last weekend. You know, we get together a lot. We actually do a lot together. We do a lot of performing still together, so. Do people ever go, hey, Chris, when we're at this party,
Starting point is 01:04:08 sing us some songs? Are you ever the guy they point and they go, come up and sing? Yeah, sometimes they do the monkey dance type thing, but a lot of times it's, my thing was always that our biggest hit song was bye-bye-bye, and anytime I'm leaving anywhere, there's always somebody who thinks they're, you know,
Starting point is 01:04:27 I've got the great idea. I'm going to tell Chris, bye-bye-bye when he walks out of the place. And then I always give the fake smile like, wow, great one. Why couldn't I have written a song called, hey, here's 20 bucks or something. Dang it, we were going to do that when you walked on. That to me is like someone goes, it may ever tell you get a face for radio and you're like, you know what? No.
Starting point is 01:04:49 This one's not even funny in my lifetime I did some morning radio too And that's the first thing I said Alright first thing you don't say when you walk in is Hey you have a phase for radio Because I did one time And they all looked at you like All right brother
Starting point is 01:05:02 How did you Where'd you grow up? Probably Orlando mostly Where were you like where did you do Young kid stuff? Young kid stuff all over I was a Navy brat A little bit
Starting point is 01:05:15 We had a you know Western Pennsylvania Ohio we lived in San Diego, Charleston for a minute. But most of my life I was in Florida. So you go to Florida and was, I read a thing on you this morning that I didn't know. Were you almost backstreet going? No, that's fake.
Starting point is 01:05:34 It is fake? I'd never heard that before until this morning. No, see, the thing was, I was in school with Howie D from the Backstreet Boys. So Howie and I have known each other longer than both of us have known the guys in our band. and when he was putting a band together or when Lou was auditioning for their band he came to me like oh yeah you know what about I'm thinking about Chris
Starting point is 01:05:57 and he's like now he doesn't fit the mold being in a boy band so you know he never came to me he actually went to a buddy of mine and then I started another band and said yeah boy band this so did you not think that was your vibe when you were 23 years old
Starting point is 01:06:13 actually it's really funny I didn't because you know we were doing Acapella stuff. And we were doing five-part harmony stuff. And boy band, the word boy band wasn't really even around. Like, we might have heard a few times when we went to Europe. But that, you know, that whole boy band thing wasn't really around. So it didn't have that stigma or whatever. And, you know, my claim to fame is that we would do five-part harmonies. We were doing everything from, and I just heard the song on the way up here as a, like, shy, boys to men were big influences on us. And anytime, you know, even some African music that I used to listen to, you know, I'd arrange and give each other parts.
Starting point is 01:06:51 And, you know, we'd sit in a weird room that had good acoustics and do acapella. So the whole, you know, like new kids, that stuff, I was like, no, we're not going to do that. This is going to be like an acapella or duop group. Chris Kirkpatrick from InSync. What else do you, like, sell? How do you, you're hosting. What else do I sell? Yeah, like, how do you pay?
Starting point is 01:07:11 My wares. You go on your host shows. Do you ever sing and put out music by yourself? Have you done that? I've done that a little bit. I mean, I had, you know, a little band. I do a lot of writing. For a long time, I had a studio.
Starting point is 01:07:23 We did a lot of production. That's one of the main reasons we moved up here to Nashville to still do some production and some writing. And, you know, I just try to stay busy. And it's nice to not have a 9 to 5 where I walk in every day and go, okay, here we go again. This is what I'm going to do. No offense, guys.
Starting point is 01:07:40 But, you know, it's like every day is like some complete. different challenge. It's something, you know, I could be doing fully work on a kid's show or I could be, you know, writing a song with a country writer or things like that. So it's always different. It always changes. And Eddie has chosen eggs as the first pick? That's correct.
Starting point is 01:11:53 Okay. With the first pick of the breakfast food draft, Eddie officially? Weevos. Eggs. There he is. Yeah. Scoobes Steve, you have no problem with that one, right? No, eggs are great.
Starting point is 01:12:05 I'm into it. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. No problem. You can watch us. Scuba Steve has on a referee uniform. It is a whistle. A whistle.
Starting point is 01:12:11 He has a flag. He's got the whole thing going in here. He hasn't had to use it all yet. No, it's here just in case. Morgan, you have the second pick of the breakfast food draft. Got to go with the food that fuels my soul. It's the pancakes. That's a good one. That's a good pick. Eddie, do you regret not picking pancakes?
Starting point is 01:12:28 No. I like eggs. Eggs, man. That's what everyone eats for breakfast. Ramundo. Yeah, it's been popular since the Oregon Trail. Give me bang. The Oregon Trail. The Oregon Trail, the video game, or literally since they were going down it. Yeah, back in the day when they were going down it.
Starting point is 01:12:53 Well, I'm going to switch it up a little bit. I mean, I admire the simplicity in you guys' picks of food. But with me, when it's breakfast, like if I'm 159, which is my target weight, and I can eat whatever I want, for breakfast I have biscuits and gravy. That's my number one. One breakfast pick. So I go biscuits and gravy. That was good.
Starting point is 01:13:16 I mean, all of y'alls go well together. Yeah. Guys together? Yeah. Chris Carpatrick from InSink serving as our guest co-hosts today. Chris, you have the first pick? Yeah, I'm going to have to go with a big one because I think this has always been my favorite food.
Starting point is 01:13:31 And I'm going to go with cereal. Good. It's a good. Over-a-overaching pick of cereal. All right, first round picks are in. Eddie has eggs. Morgan has pancakes. Ray has bacon.
Starting point is 01:13:42 I have biscuits and gravy and Chris Kirkpatrick has cereal. Now, not that it won't go up there, but Chris, what is your favorite cereal? My favorite cereal? Oh, man, Lucky Charms. Nice. Lucky Charms are any of the ones
Starting point is 01:13:54 that used to mess, Captain Crunch, used to mess with the top of your... Oh, they were like a tear your mess. Yeah. It's like, this is so good. I'm in pain, but it's amazing. All day. Now, we're going to go backward now.
Starting point is 01:14:06 Chris, since you picked last in the first round, you have the first pick of the second round. So Chris, what's your first pick? All right, I'm going to go with shrimp and grits. Shrimp and grits. Okay. For breakfast, yes. She's not in the competition, so she's hating right now.
Starting point is 01:14:22 No, I was like, wait, are we doing it? Yeah, okay. Have you had shrimp and grits for fish? Yeah, shrimp and grits for cheese. Shrimp and cheese grits for breakfast is amazing. Okay, we'll have to try it. Is that a Florida thing, shrimp? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:14:36 We've just always put some hot sauce on it. Yeah, that's amazing. All right. I also have never had shrimp for breakfast. Really? Yeah. It's like I'll take a filet mignon and grits for breakfast. It kind of feels like that.
Starting point is 01:14:49 It doesn't really hit the palate exactly right. But okay, okay. I'm going to go with, for my second pick, I'm going to go with waffles. Yeah. I feel like waffles is sitting there ready to be taken. Number one answer. What do you have, what do you do?
Starting point is 01:15:03 Oh, your timing. Oh, got it. Okay. 22nd round for this one. Ramundo, you have baked. What are you going to add over there? Cinnamon roll. Yeah, solid.
Starting point is 01:15:13 Good one. The kids love them. Solid. Morgan. Another one that's really good is donuts. Oh, good one. Eddie? Guys, I'm just going with the All-American breakfast here. Toast.
Starting point is 01:15:27 Give me a side of toast on that. Eddie's picked eggs and toast. That's right. Let me tell you what. Yeah, what's up? Eddie, come on. Like, how I grew up, we got a lot of government assistance food, right? And they gave you
Starting point is 01:15:39 eggs? The most basic They gave it First of all they gave us eggs But the eggs were like Powder Powder yeah And then we had bread
Starting point is 01:15:46 Government Like you're describing to me When we went to get Our government food Damn right What we were not dang right We were happy to get it But if you could pick anything
Starting point is 01:15:56 We didn't want to pick government Yeah But that's interesting That's interesting I'm going When I go to Denny's I get the All American Breakfast Eggs toast
Starting point is 01:16:03 And then wait for my next day Water And from my third pick I go with ice water Water. Thank you. For that cheap bill. All right.
Starting point is 01:16:13 Okay, second round picks are in. Eddie has eggs and toast. Morgan number two has pancakes and donuts. Ray has bacon and cinnamon roll. I have biscuits and gravy and waffles. And Chris Kirkpatrick has cereal and shrimp and grits. Okay.
Starting point is 01:16:28 One final round. Eddie, what do you have? Here we go. Eggs, toast, and sausage. Sausage is a solid one for sure. Look that plate. For sure, look at that plate. You're right.
Starting point is 01:16:42 Okay, we're going over to Morgan number two. What are you going to add to pancakes and donuts, Morgan number two? Well, I think I'm going to stick with sweets. And I'm not really sure why Eddie went plain toast, but I'm going to do French toast. That's a good pick. Dang, I was sitting on it. She won up me. Dang, that's a good one.
Starting point is 01:16:58 That's a good one. That's a good one. Eddie's like some Ezekiel bread. Okay, we are now going over to Ramundo. Ramondo, your picks so far are bacon and cinnamon roll. What are you going with? Yeah, this one is so good. It actually got stolen out of the kitchen here one time a couple years ago.
Starting point is 01:17:18 It is the toaster strudel. Nice. Oh, oh, oh. What? That gives me an idea of what you should do. I'm not going to go Pop-Tart. Oh. I already knew exactly what you.
Starting point is 01:17:31 I just want to see why you were out last week. What? Oh, my God. Our breakfast food draft. Is a Pop-Tart more high-end than a Toaster Struddle? Like which one ranks above in the hierarchy of food? Like which one's fancier? I feel like strudel's fancier.
Starting point is 01:17:49 Yeah, I don't do strudels. I do pop-tarts. So you think Pop-Tarts are better than strudel? Yes, but strudels might be fancier. I don't know. I'm just saying as a kid I never wanted the strudel. I wanted the... The Pop-Tart?
Starting point is 01:18:00 Pop-Tart, even as an adult, I guess. Okay, I'm on the clock now. I have biscuits and gravy and waffles. I'm either going to go oatmeal or hash browns. Oh. You know? There's no brainer in there.
Starting point is 01:18:14 Yeah. I'm going to have to waffles. I'm going to go with Hash browns. Spru. Fried potatoes. That's right. Fried potatoes.
Starting point is 01:18:24 I have a shout out to my grandma out there. Yeah. Chris Corpatcher, you have the final pick. You have cereal and shrimp and grits. What are you going to? Lobster? What are you going to?
Starting point is 01:18:33 Yeah, right? Actually, now that you say it like that, it is. is going to sound so kind of a little snooty, but I'm going to go with cream cheese bagel with locks. Oh,
Starting point is 01:18:45 salmon. Oh, that works. That one at least makes sense. Yes, I've heard of that one. Yeah, yeah. Oh, here we go. Now, it's the cheese, the grits and...
Starting point is 01:18:52 If you went rotisserie chicken, we'd have been like, well, that's an odd pick. I don't sleep. Chris Kirkpatrick is here. Those are all our picks. If you win, Chris, you win for lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Okay. Because he's not here. So you can go vote. Pressure. Eddie, I just have to say, yours is solid, but... Simple. Very, yes. Simple, but that's what America loves. Simple breakfast.
Starting point is 01:19:16 And think about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Eggs, toast and sausage. You feel pretty good about that. That's great about it. Morgan, pancakes, donuts, French toast. Yeah. What's your favorite donut?
Starting point is 01:19:24 Ooh. The glazed donut holes. The hole. Yeah, they're so good. Munchkins. You can eat so many of them and not even know it. My problem with the hole is, if you get to choose, do you choose the hole? Because you could choose a donut and make four holes out of it.
Starting point is 01:19:40 I don't, there's something about just eating donut holes and you just, you could eat a whole bag. Because you think you're not getting fat. But you are. Ray Mundoen's got bacon, cinnamon roll, and toaster strudel. I'm going to go biscuits and gravy, waffles, fried potatoes, and then Chris obviously has all dinner foods. All foods you need after 7 p.m. Do you do breakfast for dinner at all? with your family or no?
Starting point is 01:20:09 My kid does. Yeah. If he's in his mood where he's not eating anything, it's like, oh, we'll make him pancakes or waffles again. You know, they get that age and it's like once you find a food that they actually like for a day, the next day it's something. Oh, you love pizza. Cool.
Starting point is 01:20:25 We'll get him pizza. You start making pizza the next day. No. I don't want pizza. So you just go with whatever he's hungry for or whatever we can get in his mouth. What's been the biggest challenge about being a dad? I think the energy. every, I mean, 20 times a night.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Dad, let's go run. I'm like, I got bad knees, man, but I'll chase you. So he's two and a half, and he can actually move around now? Oh, yeah. He can run. He's smart little kid. If you don't watch him, gone. Gone.
Starting point is 01:20:51 Gone. Gone. Go on. Gone. Gone. That's funny. That's funny. hilarious.
Starting point is 01:21:02 Chris was like, I don't like when jokes. I got to do him first. I got to do him first. Yeah, I think now he just. Beats people to the punch. He's learned. That's funny. Okay. We will come back. Chris Carpatrick's here. If you want to hop on the phone, you can.
Starting point is 01:21:16 877-77 Bobby. On Instagram, he's I am C. Kirkpatrick, right? That's correct. I am C. Kirkpatrick's here. It says that you are the founding member of Insync. Is that true? That is correct. How did you get the idea to form Insync?
Starting point is 01:21:38 Well, I was always doing like acapella groups. And I worked at Universal doing doo-wop and stuff. So I was always arranging music. I was always really into that side of the music. And in school, I went to school with Howard DeRoe from Backstreet, Howie D. And, you know, he met Lou and started that band. And then one of the guys that was in his original band quit introduced me to Lou. And I was like, yeah, I got a band for you.
Starting point is 01:22:07 I'll put it together right now. and just kind of went out and hustled and a bunch of the guys dropped out that were in my band and I found Justin and J.C. came in. We were out, ran into Joey, and then we were band for a while and then we still needed the low end
Starting point is 01:22:22 because we were doing five-part harmonies and through Justin's vocal coach, we found Lance. And part of the story is too, you guys went and were wildly popular in Europe before you came to the States and had any success at all. What is that like to go,
Starting point is 01:22:37 not at home and people just to go nuts and you come back home and it's like crickets. Yeah, my joke used to be we'd go over there and there'd be kids like on the conveyor belts trying to get in and pounding on the vans and everything we were doing screaming. We'd have stuffed animals, all these toys, gifts that they gave us and we'd come home and our parents
Starting point is 01:22:55 forget to pick us up at the airport. You know, and it's like you're just standing there with all these toys and stuff just like, cool, I hope my mom comes soon and gets me. there have only been in my life i've been seven or eight massively famous acts and and you were obviously part of one of them and i i wonder wow do you know how famous you actually are when you're at the peak of your fame is it possible to know well i think it's like what you and i were just talking about a little while ago you know the overnight success type story when we got into it you
Starting point is 01:23:31 always assume that you're doing it you know to be big or you want to to have your record out on the radio, you want to tour stadiums or do what you do. And it was so gradual, like, you know, starting over in Europe, we were playing shows in front of a couple hundred kids. And our biggest show was Berlin. And we had 2,000 kids there. It was like this massive thing. And then suddenly we came to the States and we did this Disney special that started to, you know, really blow us up. And the shows got bigger and bigger. And it was just such a gradual transition that, you know, you're just working. You're waking up, six o'clock in the morning with a schedule under your door saying this interview to do this go do this and the
Starting point is 01:24:09 next thing you know the schedule stops coming you're like whoa that was insane like i can't believe you know we've played stadiums we played rock and rio in front of hundreds of thousands of people and you know now you know walking around town and and thinking back on it just like it sometimes it's surreal it doesn't it doesn't even seem like it happened the conversation chris and i were having off the year was chris was very kind he was like hey congratulations on a lot of stuff you've been doing. I was like, man, it feels like to me, I'm just clawing and grinding as hard as I can. But it just is that, it's just the Instagram culture, period. You look at someone social media, it doesn't have to be like their professional life. You're like, man, you're just
Starting point is 01:24:49 killing it. But in real life, you know, people are only getting to see what you're serving up to them. Right. And that was the kind of the conversation we were having, having off the air. And I, you know, it's a great point. Like, you're working and grinding so hard you really can't see the forest from the trees, you're kind of deep down inside of it. Well, and like with your situation, and what I was saying was all the big stuff is now coming in. Because, you know, when we were, when we first moved here, and they're like, hey, Bobby Bones is down at the theater. We're like, we've got to get to know this Bobby Bones guy. Like, this is crazy. And then, you know, a year later, suddenly you're everywhere.
Starting point is 01:25:24 And it's not just what's in your little circle because your friends and your family and the people around you have been to your first shows, have heard all the, trials and tribulations you've had through your career. So when it blows up, it's just part of what you've been doing. But as an outsider, you know, looking in, like, it's been a big couple years for you. So it has. It was very nice of you to say. I appreciate that. Did you ever have any run-ins where fans will, like, get into your house or like when it was all nuts and or a hotel in your hotel room? Yeah, well, I mean, I was never in my house, you know, growing, when we were on the road, we'd come home. And I think the most I was ever there from nine.
Starting point is 01:26:03 95 to 2001 was maybe a week, you know, or half a week or whatever if we had a little break. But, you know, in the hotel rooms, I still, shell shock. I walk in and first thing I do is pull back the curtain in the bathroom or things, because they'll find their way in. And a lot of those stories are true. And the fanaticism of it, they could love you, but they're in such a chaotic state and so crazy at that moment that, you know, They're just, they want to, uh, Alfonso Rivera told me a great story. A fan walked up to him.
Starting point is 01:26:36 Oh my gosh, you're Alfonso and punched him. Oh, what on earth? But he was a fan. Like, it wasn't like, oh, I hate you. It was like, oh my gosh. And panicked and freaked out so much that he punched him. And it's true. It's true.
Starting point is 01:26:52 How much, were you guys rolling with a lot of security? Oh, yeah. We each had, we each had, we each had, the beginning we only had two guys or, yeah, one for me and one for the other four guys, only because I hated having security. I like to go out and be a kid or be a teenager or be an adult, whatever. I don't think I ever was an adult. So they had to sign one specifically?
Starting point is 01:27:14 They had to sign one just to keep their eye on me because one time they shut me out of a venue that we were playing and I looked around the corner and all the kids were out front and I was like pounding on the door. I'm like, let me in. They're like, where's your credentials? I'm like, I'm on the credential. They're like, sorry, you know, just to get me back.
Starting point is 01:27:28 But we each had our own individual that kind of kept an eye on each guy. Yeah. Melissa's on. You mind taking a call or two? No, not at all. Melissa is on in Virginia. Hey, Melissa, you're on with Chris Cartpatrick. Morning studio.
Starting point is 01:27:46 Morning. Hey, Chris, I'm a huge fan. I mean, you guys were my life in high school. I still have your pictures up on my wall at home at my mom's house. Are you guys ever considering doing like a Pop 2K reunion tour? there's already a pop 2k tour going out right now that Lance hosts it's a O-Town it's got Ryan Cabreras on it there's a bunch of fun people on it but as for the five of us that's not in our cards anytime you know and I would never say never but you know there's not really
Starting point is 01:28:23 any discussions about the five of us there's a Joey and I do a lot together we'll go out and perform and you know it's like everybody's like oh cool we get the pips but you know it's still a lot of fun what is that I mean gladys night gladys night and the pips oh the pips got it yeah so would you guys would three of you ever go out and do a tour as in sync or four of you would that ever be a thing you would talk about um we we talked about it we talked about the four of us especially last year after we did a Coachella with just the four of us with ariana and um you know it was a discussion that was made but you know there's still four heads that have to get in the game and four people have to go, yeah, this is kind of makes sense and,
Starting point is 01:29:04 you know, it just isn't in the cards. Here's a very selfish question, something I've always wondered and then we'll drop it. When you were, when you and Backstreet Boys were going at it at the same time, were you A battle. Was there ever a real rivalry? As in you didn't like each other or was it a competitive, like, friendship because you empathized with what each other were going through? Well, I think it was a lot harder for them.
Starting point is 01:29:29 because you have to realize that this guy, Lou Pearlman, put them together first. They were the first ones. They were doing, like, across the country. They were doing high schools and stuff. Then when they went to Europe, they broke big in Europe. And then we followed them. And he was also, like, kind of sneaky about, you know, working with us.
Starting point is 01:29:48 Like, I don't want them to know. I don't want anything. You know, we were like the red-headed stepchild. So it was a lot harder for them because here was this guy saying, you guys are my number one. I love you guys so much. but I'm also got my backup just in case so that, you know, there was a little bit there.
Starting point is 01:30:04 A few of us individually had some things, but, you know, who was your enemy? Me and AJ for the longest time. Now he's one of my best friends, you know, he's a great guy. And it was just, you know, again, you're talking about two very similar bands doing the same thing, touring around,
Starting point is 01:30:21 and the fans, the fans are the one that really make it a competition, the fans are the ones that you can only like the backstreet boys or you can only like Insink. One girl was telling me about in San Antonio, in their cafeteria, they had a table down the middle, and you didn't cross that table, or she said, we'd cut you. And I was like, okay, that's pretty serious over boy bands.
Starting point is 01:30:43 Wow. But, yeah, it was just, you know, two of the same, you know, working. I mean, it's hard to say the same because, you know, to me, we were two completely different entities, and it wouldn't have worked if we were the same, exact band. But there was a little bit of rivalry. Now we're all, you know, really close and, you know, we support them. You know, I always go to their shows when they're in town and, you know, it's fun to see them having a resurgence again. And they're always so gracious and
Starting point is 01:31:14 kind to my family and friends and stuff. So there's not a problem anymore. But there was a bit of a heated, heated thing. Never was a fist fight. No, no. There's not even a rumor. I'm just asking. I don't know if that's a real thing. A boy band fist fight. That sounds scary. I'll scratch your eyes out. Starting point is 01:35:10 That's get sunday.com. All right, everybody's here. Our guest host today has been Chris Kirkpatrick from InSink. So when you go home today, what do you do? Today? Yeah, like what's a day like for you? Oh, well, drop my kid off at school, which he's at school. school at two and a half, which is kind of weird.
Starting point is 01:35:30 What's a kid do at two and a half in school? I think the reason we're putting him in school right now is because he needs this whole other kid relationship thing because he loves wreck it Ralph and he likes to wreck it. And that also goes to human beings as well. So trying to get him a lot of, you know, get him acclimated with kids. And so he's not this, you know, mean kid. But yeah, then I, you know, probably head to the gym for a little bit. And then I really have nothing much this week other than, you know, normal day-to-day stuff and fly out on the weekend to the next big spot.
Starting point is 01:36:10 I see here you're, I'm going to plug a couple things. In Seattle at Emerald City Comic-Con, Emerald CityCon, March 12th of the 15th in Buffalo, Nickel CityCon, May 15th through 17th. So you'll go out there and sign? Yeah, we just started doing these like two or three years. ago and uh you know they're a lot of fun because to me it's it's a chance that a lot of the because all these fans that come up and you know i tell them stories or talk about things it's like they have no opportunity to see any of us and and joey and i do a lot of those together and and and it's just fun to you know to tell the stories and so many kids come up and say man i never thought i'd have a chance
Starting point is 01:36:49 to meet meet you guys or see you guys again and you know here's an opportunity to not only meet but you know, actually share some stories and talk about some of the weird stuff that happened. You ever thought about writing a book? No. I mean, a few times. I don't want to make any enemies. And I'm a little too honest. So, you know, there's too much going on.
Starting point is 01:37:11 I mean, eventually, you know, maybe we'll have one of those after-school movies about us or something. Have they not yet based one on you guys? You think they would? There's been a lot of talks. But, you know, I don't think. the, I don't think any of us really have the, Lance does, Lance does a lot of production and things like that. Lance is actually working on a movie right now where he's got two, two girls, one, an RV on Price is Right and had some winnings and followed us around the country on tour
Starting point is 01:37:45 in the RV and like quit their jobs, I think, and everything. So he's making a movie about them. So that really happened and he's making a movie bad? That really happened. Yeah, I think he's doing it fictitiously, I think, like, it's going to be a different band or a fake name band or something. But, you know, he's been promoting it now, and I think they're about to start shooting it, which is going to be cool for him. At the height of InSink, would you still see the same fans at a lot of different places? Like somehow the biggest fans would get to you every time. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:12 And a lot of it was outside the hotel rooms. Like a lot of it was, you know, kids that were out there, we would see in New York, in L.A., and Chicago, in Toronto. know, in a lot of the big cities, there'd be the same kids, you know, sitting outside or, or, in, in Europe especially, they would sleep there. If we were at a hotel for three days, they were sleeping on the sidewalk out front for three days. It was, I mean, how do you, how do you give them enough? Like, how do you say, what do you want? Like, cool. Here's another picture. Here's this. It's, it's insane that, you know, that is what they loved and just to be around it.
Starting point is 01:38:53 It was very flattering, but very strange at the same time. It's on that Eddie. That's up on the sidewalk. Wait, who was sleeping on whose sidewalk? Wait, we switch. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. Producer Eddie, filling in for lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:39:10 What do you have? Police officer stackhouse of the Southwest District of Baltimore did the coolest thing. He responded to a burglary of a house, and he noticed that a kid got his PlayStation 4 stolen. So he went back to the department and said, guys, why don't we all change? chip in and we'll buy this kid a new PS4. So they did. Every officer chipped in a little bit of money. They got him the console and gave it to the kid. That's awesome because he didn't have to do that. Did not have to do that. By the way, he could have not done that and there would have been nothing lost. Yeah. Right. Like there was no expectation. That's great. What's the name again?
Starting point is 01:39:42 Let's shout him out. Shout out Officer Stackhouse of Baltimore. All right. Officer Stackhouse from all of us. We appreciate you. I'm looking at a picture here. It's him and another officer and the kid with PlayStation. And it looks like, what game is that? Call it duty. It is called it. Modern War Fair, that's what it is. There it is. Shout out. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Here we go. Come on, Bobby. We spent the last hour with Chris Kirkpatrick from InSink.
Starting point is 01:40:14 Hey man, I appreciate you waking up early and coming out with us. Yeah, thanks for having me. We do have you a parting gift. We'd like to bring it in now. We like to thank everybody differently when they come into the show because you mean a lot to us. So here it is our parting gift for Chris Carpatrick. We have all signed a bottle of syrup for you. Sweet. Want you to take that.
Starting point is 01:40:31 This is amazing. Put that in your trophy case. Yeah. feed it to my kid. It is Miss Butterworth. It's 50% more than it used to be. So we thought we got a good deal. Miss Butterworth's got some big bones all this stuff.
Starting point is 01:40:44 She does. Do you have a trophy room at home to keep a lot of the stuff from back in the day? I have a room that I have awards and stuff in, but, you know, it's not like yours right in the living room when people walk in that everybody, it's not on the coffee table and no. But it's, I'm making fun of it. Yeah, I know you are. So what happened is, Chris, during the break, it asked me where I put my mom. my mirror ball from Dancing with the Stars. And I was like, well, it's not in the living room,
Starting point is 01:41:07 but it's like in the hall right next to the living room. Yeah. So you can see it from the living room. Right. I mean, it's, they're great accolades and it's great to have. But especially in my business, I always think it's so weird award shows and music and kind of even acting too.
Starting point is 01:41:23 And I thought about this during the Oscars. I'm like, you know, how can you say this song was better than this song if, you know, everybody's got such particular taste in their music and in their things they do? So the awards are awesome. And, you know, this coming from a guy who's been nominated for Grammys, nominated for Grammys, never won a Grammy. But, you know, so I might be a little bitter on award shows.
Starting point is 01:41:47 But, you know, it's neat. I've got Moon Men, which are really cool. And I remember never seeing a Moon Man and then holding a Moon Man. So if people come in, I'm always like, yeah, go up, hold it. I have a buddy of mine who stole my Moon Man. Took it around all around Orlando. after he felt bad for stealing it and took pictures of it
Starting point is 01:42:07 and all through Disney all through Cape Canaveral you know Animal Kingdom the zoo everywhere I have all these pictures of my moon man in all these amazing places flat Stanley
Starting point is 01:42:18 yeah it is yeah it was just a lot heavier the Miss Butterworth by the way is from the draft it's a little remembrance of the draft we had earlier the breakfast draft I figured yeah just in case you didn't know
Starting point is 01:42:27 I just put that together I didn't think that this was a normal thing or if it was like that I was like that I was pop or in the sink? We've done other things like a chicken, like a frozen chicken. You did the breakfast draft so we wanted to award you with that.
Starting point is 01:42:42 I'll put that on my award shelf. Good to see you. Really appreciate you. I think that's anything you'd like to say. It's your podium now. Go ahead. No, just thanks for having me. Like I said, I've been a fan,
Starting point is 01:42:55 and it's cool that you've got friends now on your staff here that I know. And now I consider some of these guys, my friends too and you guys are my friends so you know being in Nashville and knowing all about you this is really cool do you ever get stopped by people and they're like I don't know where I know you all the time and they really don't they can't put it together they'll be convinced that we went to school together or something and and I like to lead them on a little bit no we definitely didn't go to school together I graduated like are you sure like late 90s I feel like I know you I know you from somewhere
Starting point is 01:43:28 I feel like I know you from somewhere but you know here it's it's funny and I'm sure you get it a lot too. It's, you know, people here come up to me and they start off with this sentence. It's called, I know we're not supposed to do this, but, you know, I'm going to do it anyways. I'm like, this is so weird that it's the first time people like almost apologize
Starting point is 01:43:50 for taking a picture before they ask to take a picture. I was at the ice cream place a couple weeks ago and I go up and the girl behind the counter, I go, have ever told you like Bobby Bones? And I go, you know, I've heard that before. What's he look like? Let me see your phone. So she takes her phone out and she Googles me. Oh, I'm stealing this.
Starting point is 01:44:08 She pulls up my picture and she goes, this is him. And I'm like, oh, he's cute. And she goes, eh. That's the danger. Yeah, you're like, hey. And I'm like, I was like, well, okay. And I had different glasses on. I didn't have big black glasses on.
Starting point is 01:44:22 I had like wire rim glasses. And so I was like, well, so anyway, do that. My favorites, if they ask me if I was in the Backstreet Boys or something, I just go, no. and then sometimes I feel guilty and I'm like I was in another band we all look alike
Starting point is 01:44:37 sorry I don't want to well listen thank you very much follow I am C Kirkpatrick Patrick Patrick on Instagram I am C Kirkpatrick Patrick on Instagram there he is
Starting point is 01:44:47 Christopher Patrick appreciate you Bobby Bone yo The Bobby Bone show Eddie just gave me a kick in the pants here during that last
Starting point is 01:44:54 Well he did So was it a kick in the pants or a compliment Well kicking the pants Because we were talking about American Idol last night night, which by the way, there was a kid wearing a Pimma Joy hat on the show. What?
Starting point is 01:45:05 Yeah. No way. It's pretty cool, Amy. So he went and sang him and his girl did. She made it through. He didn't. But he had a Pim of Joy hat on, but the Pimma Joy part, they don't let any logos up there, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:16 So they had it blocked out. But then when they were shooting them from behind, you saw the Pim of Joy tag on the back. Love it. And he left his little sticker on there, the one that explains Pimp and Joy on the bottom. Oh, that's so cool. So, but Eddie said, hey, but he said he looked so skinny on that show last night. And I know me. I know exactly what I was weighing then.
Starting point is 01:45:33 What were you weighing then? About three pounds less than what I am now. Oh, wow. Well, I mean... What do I mean? Well, they always just say like, you know, the camera adds whatever pounds to you. And I felt in your case, I'm like, I don't know, man, you looked really small. Which is what your goal is?
Starting point is 01:45:48 And then Eddie goes, well, you look a little bigger than now. Now, now you do. Like muscular. Yeah, like you've been working out. You're not just sitting around eating pizza. But you look great. Like, I don't, I hate that you have this pressure to lose three pounds when you're going to be on TV. Well, no, when it's shoot time.
Starting point is 01:46:01 I'm, I guess I gotta get back there now because Eddie's telling you. No. Hey, when did you shoot that? Eddie, he looks great. September, October. Come on, dude. That was a long time ago. Anyway, so now I got to get back at it.
Starting point is 01:46:15 No. Eddie, way to go. I don't have to shoot again for like three weeks, but I guess I need to drop a few, huh? No. I'm not even eating breakfast until 9 this morning. I'm going to encourage you to stop this. I'm doing fit 33 right now, which I only eat for 33% of the day. but I'm just disgusted
Starting point is 01:46:34 I'm just disgusted with myself I know that was meant as a compliment but I took it I took it the complete wrong way It's like when you tell somebody Why you look great and they're like Did I not look good? I know right
Starting point is 01:46:44 Yeah that's totally mean Chris Garpatrick, fun fun guest huh? Yeah so nice Awesome yeah that was a lot of fun so on Wednesday by the way we have my tattoo artist
Starting point is 01:46:57 coming in I'm just curious about what tattoo artists, like backgrounds, the craziest things they've had to tattoo. So, you know, has he done you or just me? Just, he's done me. Oh, yes? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:10 Yeah. So I think that'll be a fun thing to do and to talk about. So he'll come in tomorrow from KATV, which is my station in Little Rock, one of the news anchors is going to come in. So she's going to drive up. Her name's Ansela Watson. While she's driving over there.
Starting point is 01:47:27 She's going to drive up six hours to do the show tomorrow morning. dedication. So, yeah, listen, we're having fun with this. We've had everything from artists to news anchors to Chris Kirkpatrick from Insync. Yeah. Let's go over to Morgan number two and see what she's thinking about, what she's caring about. So HBO Max shared some new details about the whole special friends reunion that's happening. It's coming out in May when HBO kicks off. All of the six main characters are also executive producers on it. So they kind of get to decide what that content's going to be. And they all. I'll share a photo of them in like a yellow car.
Starting point is 01:48:06 So I'm kind of excited that there might be some new content besides just them reunion, like, interviews happening. So here's what's disappointing to me is it's just going to be an interview special. Like, we don't, there's no character reunion. It's just Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox. Interviewing the actors. It's like Oprah sat down with them. So still interesting, but not enough to make the world go nuts like it is. I love friends.
Starting point is 01:48:34 I wanted to see a one episode. Like one episode that was written, so we had an update on where the characters are in their lives. I know where Jennifer Anderson is in her life. Yeah. I see it. I'm good. But I want to know where Rachel Green is.
Starting point is 01:48:47 And if her and Ross are still together. And, but as of now, that's not the case, right? No, it's just interviews. But they posted a picture kind of like it would be new content. Like, they're all in, like, these outfits and they're varying character. So, I don't know. It's not going to make me subscribe to HBO Max. Oh, you could probably do a two-week trial for free.
Starting point is 01:49:09 That's what Amy does. That's true. Yeah. That's true. You know, I was watching on Amazon. I was watching hunters, which is the show where they hunt Nazis. It just came out, I think, this weekend. Maybe it's a week, but it's new.
Starting point is 01:49:23 Al Pacino's in it. And so it's loosely based on this real-life group of people who used to try to find Nazis back in the 70s. Oh, I had no idea there was true to it. Truth as in there were, these characters aren't based on the exact characters, but it's based on these people that used to try to find Nazis. Nazis that came to America. But you find out that America brought them here on purpose. Because after the World War II and after they shut down on the concentration camps,
Starting point is 01:49:49 which, by the way, that's a tough part to watch at this show. But they were like, well, we don't want Russia to get their scientists and they're smartest people. So we'll bring them over to America and wipe their records and let them live. What? Yeah. I didn't know that part. They had to strategically make a decision that, okay, well, you have all these folks here that Russia may be trying to get and use against us. So they took them.
Starting point is 01:50:12 So you learn, I mean, I've been Googling all this stuff that I didn't even know about all of the concentration can. Crazy. I looked at the reviews of the show and Mike, can you show me the Rotten Tomatoes? It was just okay. But I said, okay, I'm going to give it a shot. I have one episode left. I love it. The Amazon reviews were three out of five stars.
Starting point is 01:50:30 Yeah. It's audience score seven. 72% but I would give it four stars out of five 4.25 out of five It sounds right up my alley I really like it
Starting point is 01:50:41 so and then I would just Google stuff about it because it's a fictional show but they're pulling a lot of historical stuff to fall into it but it's called Hunters if Amazon Prime
Starting point is 01:50:51 which if you use Amazon Prime to like get I just have mine to order stuff from and then I just had the channel as well but so there's that
Starting point is 01:51:02 a lot of people are asking how they can watch the Opry network called the Circle Network that I'm on. So it doesn't launch digitally like all the Amazon stuff until early this summer. So but you can go to, I think it's like Circle Network.com, whatever that, and type in. Because on a lot of cable channels it's already on, some of them it's not yet. It's a slow roll out there. But in early summer, all of the, it goes up where your Apple TVs, your Roku's, all that stuff. So, yeah, there you go. I was reading the story about Mayo.
Starting point is 01:51:30 I hate mayonnaise Okay If there's one food That I like the least It's mayonnaise What's your least like food? Olives I've developed
Starting point is 01:51:39 Taste for olives I don't want anything to do with that But I love mayo Tell me more Well let's go around the room Lease like food Eddie I hate olives too I would say guacamole
Starting point is 01:51:50 What? Yeah are you crazy You're Avocado Wait I'm confused Yeah me too Because your name's Eduardo It's the creamy texture
Starting point is 01:52:00 with no taste to it. Mm-mm. And I even try. My wife sometimes like, oh, I put it in a salad for you. I'm like, I don't like it. So, you're parents.
Starting point is 01:52:08 By the way, if you're new to this show, Eddie's Mexican. Correct. Did your parents eat guacamole? Yep, all the time. And they liked it? It was in my house all the time. It was a texture thing then only.
Starting point is 01:52:16 It was just gross in my mouth. I don't like it. Weird. So we have olives, guacamole. I'm putting mayonnaise as my least like food. Morgan number two? Celery.
Starting point is 01:52:25 It's just there. It doesn't really do much for me as far as flavoring or anything goes. It doesn't gross you out, though? I mean, I just wouldn't ever choose to eat it. If I was forced on an island to eat it, I would. What kind of island is that? Celery Island?
Starting point is 01:52:40 That sounds like a pretty middle of Rhode Island. I hate peanut butter, too, like right behind mayonnaise as peanut butter. Crazy. That is crazy to me. Which is crazier. Me not liking peanut butter or Eddie not liking... Eddie not liking guacamole. Stop it.
Starting point is 01:52:54 Yeah, your family's probably like... We're not really good to him. They're not happy with me right now. Yeah. Two years ago, Slavisie. Cetschup came out. I went viral. My company is now making
Starting point is 01:53:04 mayo slices. You can buy a package of four slices of mayo that look just like slices of cheese, except you know their mayonnaise. And so they have
Starting point is 01:53:14 these out, slices of mayonnaise sheets. I'd try it. Yeah, me too. If I like mayonnaise, I would try it. Yeah. But you like mustard.
Starting point is 01:53:22 Would you do sliced mustard? Because I will eat mustard in just my hand. Like, just to lick it a little, I love, as much as I hate mayonnaise, I love mustard. Weird. My girlfriend doesn't eat condiments at all, any of them.
Starting point is 01:53:35 No mayonnaise, no mustard, nothing. But she puts butter on her pop-tart. She does. She was hitting me about this weekend because she'll be in town Thursday. She was like, hey, will you try the butter of pot-tart? I was like, sure, I'm sure it's great. Like, two things I love. Butter and Pop-Tarts.
Starting point is 01:53:49 Why would I love butter of pot-tarts? I was like, it's just, that sounds like a lot. Did you try it or when are you going to try? She'll come to town. I'll try it. I'm sure I'll love it. Will you do that on Instagram? But the thing is, you shouldn't love it.
Starting point is 01:54:00 like Pop-Tarts alone are bad for you. And butter on top of it. Butter on Pop-Tarts, you're out of your mind. It's not part of the Fit 33 lifestyle. Well, no, Fit-33, for the most part, you can eat whatever you want. There's eight hours. Oh, okay. I don't.
Starting point is 01:54:13 But, yeah. Starting point is 01:57:58 What's that what it was? And then you're like, what happened? And then he says he paid all her debts off. And as soon as he paid all her debts off, she dumped him. Well, there's another update to the story. I'm so intrigued by this. I think they were married 12 days. Is that what it was?
Starting point is 01:58:11 Yeah, but one day, 12 day. Same old. Tomato. This guy is back with his ex now, who was engaged to before Pamela Anderson. Oh. Has he checked her debt? Well, he was with her before. I know, but she's probably like, I didn't know you paid debt.
Starting point is 01:58:27 Come back. Pamela Anderson just learned that her ex-husband has reproposed his former fiance that this is a whole bonkers thing here is this a dude paying off everybody's debts this is how he's getting girls? How do you get your girl back that you dumped to go marry somebody else?
Starting point is 01:58:42 That's major forgiveness. Like forgiveness for being an idiot. I guess my mind doesn't go there. Really? You go forgiveness. My mind goes, she just wants to be with them because he will pay off her debts. Oh. Mm-hmm. Or he's kindness in my famous now?
Starting point is 01:58:57 Okay, I didn't go there. Because, I mean, he was on two. TMZ and he's you know people.com. Mid-January, he split from Julia Faye West and quickly proposed to Pam Anderson. They secretly married on January 20th. Then he texted this girl that he was married to saying, hey, I need forgiveness because he did not desire an international love affair. They had a separation 12 days after their marriage.
Starting point is 01:59:22 It's just tough. That's a tough situation. Because if you're really legitly with someone and they go, not with you anymore, get engaged, you get married to somebody else. and they come back and go, why I'm messed up? That's asking a lot. It's too volatile of an environment. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:37 Thoughts? Yeah. No, I agree. That whole thing confuses me. Maybe they're just trying to get a reality show. Maybe. Maybe that's another good angle. Dang.
Starting point is 01:59:48 Some burglars in Florida broke into a medical marijuana dispensary at exactly 4.20 a.m. Shut out. Right on. That was that planned. They're like, dude. You would think they would be trying to break into all these at 4.20. Like there should just be alarms on at 4.20 a.m. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:00:03 Thieves broke into two medical marijuana dispensaries early Friday. The thieves arrived for the break-in at exactly 4.20 a.m. I don't know. If they're idiots, they're probably just getting lucky. I don't think that that couldn't have been on purpose. I don't know. I feel like they were sitting around. They're probably like, hey, guys, someone was 420.
Starting point is 02:00:21 Let's go break in. I don't know. Did you see the story about the Zamboni driver that end up playing goalie in the NHL? No. Do you know what a Zamboni driver is? No. Okay. So it's the big old thing that looks like. It looks, again, to all our listeners that are hockey fans, excuse this explanation to Amy because I also did not grow up with hockey. I've only had hockey in my life until the last few years. But when I was a kid, I would see this big truck that looked like it was flattening the ice. Didn't know what it was. Has this big wheel on it. Snoopy was usually driving in. See, David, get on it. Now when I say that, does that make sense to you? Yes. Now I know exactly what you're talking about.
Starting point is 02:00:56 The NHL's Carolina Hurricanes needed an emergency goalie on Saturday. So they brought in the Zamboni driver at the arena who would work the ice. Did you see the story? No. Okay. So this guy, each club, each of the hockey teams have to have an emergency goalie. They never use it because it's basically the third goalie. The first one goes down, you pull on the second one.
Starting point is 02:01:17 The second one went down. He was the emergency goalie for both teams because it never gets used. It's almost like designated survivor. That's crazy. where it's like, well, if the whole house blows up, we'll go to whoever's sitting in a hole protected. So he hadn't played hockey. He never played pro hockey.
Starting point is 02:01:34 So injuries to both their goalies, an emergency goalie. He got 42 years old. He was the maintenance man and the Zamboni driver in the arena. And they won. What? How many saves he here? This is usually a procedural thing.
Starting point is 02:01:47 He was the emergency goalie for both teams because they never have to use it. And he was handed a jersey, thrown into action. He gave up two goals right away. but then made eight straight saves and they won six to three. Amazing. He became the emergency goalie and the first one to ever be credited with a win in NHL history.
Starting point is 02:02:05 He played more than 28 minutes, which is also a record for an emergency goalie. Wow. The guy's just, they paid him 500 bucks. That's what his game check was for that. But pro, never played pro before. I played some club hockey before, but it's 42, the Zamboni driver and the maintenance man in the arena. The best story ever. I love it.
Starting point is 02:02:23 It would be not. It doesn't need a movie. It doesn't need a series about him. But if you were doing a series about really cool things that happened, this is an episode. Okay. All right. You put it in there. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:02:52 she will be filling in tomorrow in Lunchbox's chair. Anzley, you live in Little Rock, right? Hey, sure do. on the show, she had twit, her boyfriend's mom had tweeted or something, and then she retweeted it. And so I sent it over to Scoot with Stephen. I was like, hey, let's see if she'll drive up here. So tomorrow, are you coming up tonight or tomorrow, Ansela? I'm coming tonight right after our show ends up four. I'm driving. Stacey and I are driving to Nashville. And so how long does the drive for you?
Starting point is 02:03:17 Five hours. Not bad. Are you excited about it? Excited. Are you ready for this? We're going to have fun. You all right for this. So tell our listeners what your job is now. What do you do at KATV? So I am a co-host for our afternoon show. Good afternoon, Arkansas.
Starting point is 02:03:36 It's from 3 to 4 on Channel 7. It's all entertainment, lifestyle, all the fun stuff. It's not news. So she's going to come in and be part of the show. Today we had Chris Carpatrick from InSink. I don't know if you got... I know. I was listening.
Starting point is 02:03:52 I'm mind blown. I'm coming in after a little bit. You are. Are you taking notes? Are you bringing us any cool stories tomorrow? What do you have? Are you nervous? No, I'm not nervous.
Starting point is 02:04:02 It's going to be fun. Okay. Well, good. Do you want any gifts from Arkansas? Do you want me to bring you back anything from your home state? Well, anything I would want, like, McClard's barbecue, you're an hour away from. So, you know, I get... Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 02:04:16 I have half a bottle of barbecue sauce in my fridge I can bring you. I'm good on that. I'm good on used. I'm good on... barbecue sauce. I'm good on used condiments. Well, we're looking forward to having you tomorrow. I hope you're excited.
Starting point is 02:04:31 So excited. Looking forward to it for sure. And your boyfriend's mom is the one who tweeted that out. That's, that's right? Yes, he's coming. So you'll get to meet. You actually met her on FaceTime when you're down here at Mountain Pine. Oh, I met your boyfriend's mom?
Starting point is 02:04:45 Yeah, remember we FaceTimed her. You probably don't remember this. But we did. Of course. I haven't stopped thinking about it. What are you talking about? I know. He was telling us about it.
Starting point is 02:04:55 Remember when you open my advent calendar? That I do. She opens something. She was like, open all these doors. It's a calendar. I don't even know what I was doing. Interesting. Yeah, I thought there was like candy.
Starting point is 02:05:05 Is she bringing that with her? I hope not. Okay. All right, Ansley, we'll see you tomorrow. I can bring another one. Okay. All right, there she is. Anzley Watson from KATV going to be in tomorrow.
Starting point is 02:05:16 Anything else I wanted to mention here? I have a bunch of notes. The KFC chicken and donut sandwich is arriving soon. Come on. That sounds. really good. Hey, I also want to see the poll if I can see that. Well, look at the draft we did this morning. Yeah. Here you go. Here's something.
Starting point is 02:05:33 KFC announced that we're making it's Kentucky Fried Chicken and Donuts Mill available beginning next week. Wow. I love Kentucky Fried Chicken. I love the chicken. Crispy, I love it. You like Krispy, not original? Love the, like cook it. Cook it. Fry it. Cook it good, man. I love it. There are certain things that I may not get to eat a lot of
Starting point is 02:05:53 anymore, but when I do. KFC. KFC, crispy chicken is one. Taco Bell, crunchy tacos all day long. What else do I love to get? A Mountain Dew, which I might have about once a year. You like the traditional or
Starting point is 02:06:11 the Baja from Taco Bell? Mountain Dew? Just the question, don't judge me. Traditional. Traditional. That would be crazy. I might have one Mountain Dew a year, but it is so good. Dude, used to drink a lot of that. I just drink a three liter a day.
Starting point is 02:06:24 Back in the day. Yeah. What were you guys saying? No, it's crazy. I used to live off diet. Well, Diet Coke, but then I, if I was in a bad mood, I would pop a my doll with a diet mountain do. And it would turn my life around. I was like, this is like.
Starting point is 02:06:36 Is it a purple drink? Yeah. It was like my syrup or something. Sizurup. You can go and vote for your favorite breakfast. Chris Carpatrick from Insink is in the last place. Because he picked shrimp and grits. And we were like, shrimp and grits, huh?
Starting point is 02:06:52 Interesting. I'm in first right now, just by a little, Eddie. It's close. You and me? Yeah. Me and then you, you have... I have biscuits and gravy, which I knew was going to be a southern thing. That's good.
Starting point is 02:07:03 I knew I was probably going to be eliminated from a lot of our northeastern part of the country because that's very southern and thick. What else do you get? I have biscuits and gravy, waffles, and then I went southern again with fried potatoes. So I was really dialing in my people here. It's funny when fried potatoes and not hash browns. I know. Again, I was playing right to my...
Starting point is 02:07:20 What is that also called home fries? Right to my roots. No, we call them fried potatoes. Okay. Everybody calls us something different. You're getting the whole state of Arkansas voting for you right there. Eddie Pink Eggs, Toast sausage. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:07:31 Traditional American breakfast. Morgan number two pick pancakes, donuts, and French toast. And then Ray Mundo. Kind of not in the mix here, but... Not last. Yeah, not last. That's true. Go vote to Bobbybones.com. Vote on the breakfast team that you would like to see when.
Starting point is 02:07:52 If you missed any of the show today, you can go to the pie. Search Bobby Bone Show On Demand on IHart Radio or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Morgan, what are a few of the highlights from today's show? We had Chris Kirkpatrick from Insig in as our guest host. And how did he do? He did really good.
