Starting point is 00:02:51 The Bobby Bones Post Show pre-show. These styles of T-shirts are getting a little shorter. Like the shirt I have, the T-shirt I have on, it only goes, short. Do you all see it?
Starting point is 00:03:02 Sure. Well, it's like that's like the Chris Martin. That's what I was telling me. I was lifting my arms up and I was like, I look like Chris Martin from Coldplay. And he was like, no, you don't, but your shirt does. Because you look nothing like Chris Martin. Yeah, the styles of these shirts are starting to get, I don't like that. Why? I told my fat goes around my gut. But you don't normally lift up your arms like that.
Starting point is 00:03:23 I actually run around a lot. Oh, okay. Yeah. Because when your arms aren't lifted up, it fits perfectly. I have a joke I didn't have an alarm It might stand up Remember that joke? No Interplane?
Starting point is 00:03:35 I don't want to say it Because it really did happen Oh yeah, yeah, yeah I can hear the crowd Just go When I tell it every time I go Oh
Starting point is 00:03:42 You have to come to a raging idiot show And I know There's like a middle There are all kinds of surprises Up in there Yeah that's what Amy The takeaway was that
Starting point is 00:03:50 I'm with you all the time I don't even know this stuff That's a true story All my jokes Are a derivative of stories in my life that one did happen yeah I don't want to give anything away
Starting point is 00:04:03 I'm not open in my mouth love that Raymoino's video for vacation just came out by the way oh that is for real it just dropped amazing congratulations buddy
Starting point is 00:04:12 thank you dude very big moment I had one line in the song the video was simple to shoot I didn't even do any of the work but yeah it's a big moment everybody's pumped about it yeah
Starting point is 00:04:22 I saw the promo clip on Instagram yesterday on your Instagram it's pretty good Oh, they did a dirty job. I mean, they put some money into it. What does dirty mean? Like, good? Yeah, good.
Starting point is 00:04:32 I assumed we were doing it on iPhone's bootleg style, but they wanted it to be good enough to be on CMT possibly. I bet you it gets on CMT. That'd be awesome. Yeah, turn that up. I think so. I should. Hey.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Missed it. I missed it. I saw it. What are you carrying white claw out of the house when you jumped? Yeah, they were partnered in that bad boys. We had to carry some white claw. partnered. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:09 What do you mean? They pay for the video? Yeah. I guess it was catered. All the food we were eating. All the White Claws people were drinking. They're the ones that did it all. I saw this, Raymondo, and I was thinking about you.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Some beer sales figures have been released. What do you think the biggest beer is, Ray? I'm not going to... White Claw's not a beer. I would say White Claw. I would say the usual Miller Light. Miller Light's not down the top five. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:05:36 What? That's weird. Wow. Number one. Uh, has to be... Bud Light? Bud Light. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:43 People should use Bud Light over Miller Light. What about Coors Light? Two. What? What? What? One other big surprise on the list is Bud Ice in the top 20. Huh.
Starting point is 00:05:54 And it's supposedly a blast from the past. Yeah, I haven't had that since, like, high school. Ahead of Paps, Blue Ribbon, and Blue Moon. Wow. Apparently, Mickelope Ultra's marketing was their key to success. They promote an active beer brand with people working out and staying in shape. Totally they do. They make you think they.
Starting point is 00:06:10 you can just drink beer and you'll look like amazing playing sand volleyball. That's why I started drinking because I was like, I can look that good drink beer. It's they really done. They have done a good job marketing as like a post-workout drink. Yeah. Marketing is so big I didn't realize until like every time I go to the beach, I get a corona. Like I'm at the beach. I got to have a corona beer. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:31 It's crazy. It has nothing to do with the beach. But they have made you think that. Men look more attractive and younger after plastic. surgery. Okay. Go figure. According to a new study, guys look more attractive and significantly younger after getting work done. Researchers
Starting point is 00:06:48 worked with men with an average of 49 years who had to work done on their eyelids, forehead, brows, necks, noses, and chins. One of them. After the procedures, these guys got higher scores for their attractiveness, likeability, social skills, trustworthiness. Most guys are able to get fillers and Botox. There we go.
Starting point is 00:07:05 For under 500 bucks for just a minor work. Amy? I don't talk about Botox or I'm Bobby anymore Where's your friend? I'll go to your friend I'll go see your friend You will? But she can do like not Botox
Starting point is 00:07:16 But she can just like No she'll brootox you I have zero skin care regimen Nothing I do nothing I don't I don't even wash my face You don't? I do a shower you do yeah
Starting point is 00:07:26 But like I don't have like The soap you put on your body Nah face wash from dollar shape club Okay good But I mean that's the only time I don't do any kind of skin care regimen I mean you're you're lucky Like you have great skin
Starting point is 00:07:39 Like y'all Oh, now I have great skin. No, you have great. I never said anything of... Before I was the Betty White at the foreheads. Oh, my gosh. It wasn't me that said it. Mm-hmm, but you brought it up like 18 times.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Wait, are you supposed to wash your face with something else? Not like a barrens? Other than the washcloth? Well, listen, yes, some people do. I don't. But a lot of people on television really take care of their skin. And I should, I guess. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:08:03 That's what I was saying. You're a washcloth? Yeah. Oh. That's good for exfoliating. I watched my hair yesterday to go and do this, photo shoot, I don't wash my hair. Like, you don't use shampoo?
Starting point is 00:08:14 I get my haircut about every two and a half weeks. And so, because it's short and has to stay looking somewhat similar through shoots, it can't be longer on a shoot that's one day later, even though we taped it four weeks difference. Yeah? So I have to consistently get haircuts. And I don't have to wash my hair. I just get it washed there.
Starting point is 00:08:31 But, but what about you do Peloton spin classes and sweat every day? Don't wash. Just rinse. What? Because I can't control it. My hair is so curly. that I cannot manage it whatsoever if it's not. But how do you not have, like, dandra for something?
Starting point is 00:08:44 I probably do. Oh, and you're like, no big deal. So what's the first thing you do in the shower? Bobby goes, I probably do. Yeah, like, what? My body, my armpits, my, my, under. I mean, I don't smell you, so that's why I'm super curious. Like, you would think if I go two weeks without washing my hair and I'm working out and sweating,
Starting point is 00:09:03 it is going to smell. Well, I'm not bragging about this. This is actually an admission. This is being vulnerable in a safe room. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and we're taking that. I don't ever wash my hair. Very, very, very rarely. Because, again, I get a cut every couple weeks.
Starting point is 00:09:14 And then, also, I need it to be manageable. And so I don't fix it. Who cares? I don't know. I think maybe every four days you throw in some soap. Throw in some shampoo every, you know, once in a while. Is that weird to you? Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Extremely weird. Yeah. Like, I don't shower without washing my hair. Yeah, but you don't have any hair. No offense. But doesn't your hair feel greasy? No, I can just move it around. Probably.
Starting point is 00:09:40 It's so curly and like I can't control it. So I don't put any, I don't put any, I guess my product is sweat. I guess my product is sweat. It's free. Mm-hmm. So, yeah, there you go. The Boys becomes one of Amazon Prize
Starting point is 00:09:55 Most Watched shows just after two weeks. Did you guys watch an episode? We did. Nope. No, I'm not talking to you. Oh, he said you guys, my bad. Amy and her husband. Yep.
Starting point is 00:10:05 You watched first one fully? First episode. Yeah, go ahead. He likes it. I don't. I don't. Why don't you like it? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:13 It's a lot in like the language. Well, yeah, it's a gritty movie. It was good word, gritty. It's gritty. And I just wasn't really into the characters, I guess, really. Like, I didn't really care that this was their life also when they're a superhero. But my husband did like it. And I was like, great, you found a show to watch.
Starting point is 00:10:29 He'll love it even more now. It gets so good, episode two through eight. Right. I get that I'm probably in the minority here, given all the crazy, amazing reviews I keep seeing everywhere, including yours. So, but I'll just, I'll stay over in the minority. They have started shooting season two.
Starting point is 00:10:45 But it's the most binge-to-watched series of the year. Wow. Not to mention Prime Video's most-watched series ever. Wow. Amazon Prime shared their delight,
Starting point is 00:10:56 they say. I've watched a couple shows on Amazon. I watched Jim Halper from the office. What do he do? Jim... He did something? You watch the show.
Starting point is 00:11:08 I don't remember. Tom Clancy. Oh, yeah. Jack, what's it called? Oh, no. No. Reacher. It was good.
Starting point is 00:11:21 That show was good. Jack Ryan. Jack Ryan. That sounds about right. You got there. Whatever that is. It's good. If people have not seen that.
Starting point is 00:11:28 But that's on Amazon. I watch that one. I watch Fleabag. You would hate Fleabag. It's kind of dirty. Noted. But it's hilarious. I think it's a ton of award nominations.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Watch that. What else? It comes on Amazon Prime. Oh, oh, high cap, man in high high castle. Yeah, you know, the premise, freaking amazing. The show, the execution, a little slow. Yeah, I never continued with it, but it is an Amazon original. Man and High Castle is about if the United States would have lost World War II,
Starting point is 00:11:54 and our country is divided up between Japan has the western side of the country, and Germany has the eastern side of the country, and in the middle there's a land of just kind of no man's land. Well, I guess that's what would have happened. Yeah. It's pretty wild. The premise is awesome. It just gets lost after a bit.
Starting point is 00:12:08 The story is confusing. It's based off a book Or books. Not a true story, though. The Marvelous Miss Maisel's an Amazon show, but I never watched that. I watched one episode or two. I probably should give it a try, and I bet I'd get hooked, because most of my girlfriends love it.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Did you all ever watch Sneaky Pete? Oh, that's a good one. That's a good one. On Amazon? Yep. There's so many platforms now, because Amazon I had for free. Didn't even know I had it for free. If you have Amazon Prime, you get it.
Starting point is 00:12:37 It's not for free, but it's just part of the package. Right. Like, I didn't buy the show. streaming service on purpose, I just had it. So it feels like for free. Because I'm getting the value at Amazon Prime being all this crap sent to me that I order. And so I have that. I have Netflix.
Starting point is 00:12:51 I have Google Play, but you buy individually on Google Play, right? So there's no subscription to Google Play. But I have it on my TV. And so if there's something that I can't find somewhere else, I go to Google Play, and I'll just buy it. It's like the world is our oyster. All this content is our oyster. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Speaking of that, a man has spent two weeks in a hospital with a permanent erection. How long? Two weeks. Why? This is me from age 12 to 27. But why? There he is. Is it just...
Starting point is 00:13:23 Okay. What? But why? Did he take something? A man has spent two weeks in a hospital because of a permanent erection. He took a Viagra. Okay. He met a nurse while out and ended up allowing her to inject a stimulant into his ding-dong.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Oh my gosh. What? She got him. Two days later, he woke up an excrucibly. pain with an erection that wouldn't go away. Now he has, now he may have to have his member amputated. Oh, no, no, no, no. She is like, um,
Starting point is 00:13:49 Dirty John. Dirty John. You can't meet anybody out. Loretta got off John Wayne Bobbitt. Yeah. That's right. That's right. Guys, let that be a reminder.
Starting point is 00:13:59 You cannot meet people out and let them inject you. No, just don't want people inject you, period. It's not where you meet them or out or in or just nobody's injecting. Unless they're a professional, but she's a nurse. She's a nurse. See? It's a slippery. guys have a lot of body issues.
Starting point is 00:14:12 A new survey found that more than half of American men are ashamed of their body in some way. I'm in this list. For sure. But you have a great body. I don't... Okay, but Amy, that's like when people go to you. It'll be like, you can't do that.
Starting point is 00:14:25 You can't put on somebody else. You have a good body, so you're not allowed to feel. I'm not saying you're not allowed. Your feelings are valid. I know I was affirming. You just yelled at me. No. Did she yell at me, guys?
Starting point is 00:14:33 That's me projecting. That's how I yell at myself to stop talking negative self-talk. So that was me affirming you. I thought I was giving you support. Like, stop thinking that way. In the middle of a story, you yelled at me. That was aggressive. Men that were surveyed said they avoided swimming because of embarrassment about their body or body hair or body fat.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Like, I feel it. I felt that. I about that. I felt that. So what does it give a percentage? I about that. Yeah, over half American men have. And so sometimes, like, I don't, there are times I'll take my shirt off, kind of feel it.
Starting point is 00:15:06 And have fallacillitis. my back, which means there are tiny hair follicles, and sometimes it's like ingrown hair. Yeah. So it looks like a pimples. Disgusting. I make myself want to vomit. Excuse me? Nothing.
Starting point is 00:15:23 I don't want to say anything. I don't even think I'm yelling. Well, if you say it in a tone where you let me finish my sentence and then you say it in a pleasant, maybe room temperature tone. Okay, are you done? I think that you have a good body, so you should love yourself. You have a great body. Well, I don't know where I'm just trying to be. I'm trying to be delicate here.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Yeah. I think that you have a good body and you should be proud of all your hard work and feel good about yourself. Thank you. I want to hear you talk negatively. These guys over here don't talk negatively about their bodies. No, we love our bodies. I'm good with my body.
Starting point is 00:15:57 We have the best bodies ever. When I look in the mirror, I'm like, stud. I'm not confident. I wish I had their confidence. We go to the pool all the time. Right. I take my show of no problem. Have you ever been like maybe I shouldn't take my body?
Starting point is 00:16:07 No. You kidding me? See? I wish I live like that. That would be amazing. I know. I hate wearing shorts sometimes. We'll take our shirts off right now if you guys want.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yeah, if you want me to. We're good. Okay. All right. Just checking. We okay. Like, uh, I just need to, I'm just going to start, I'm going to start channeling these guys and put on shorts and be like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:16:25 Who cares? Because when you go to the pool, you don't think, when you're walking around with your shirt off, you're like, man, everyone is looking at me like, dang. You don't have that? Never once. Oh, I don't like to walk around in the pool. Mm-mm. Scientists are working on a pill that cures loneliness.
Starting point is 00:16:39 You are not lonely. I can add that to my regimen. My morning regimen with all my multivitamins. How do you take it? Zipository. What? Amy. She's working new material.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Oh, my gosh. She saw me do stand up. She's like, all right, all right. I'm trying to get in this game. Yeah. Keep going, Amy. Keep going with a joke. The joke is there.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Because it's not appropriate. Studies suggest the condition is worse than obesity. The condition of loneliness makes a person irritable depressed, and it's associated with a 26% increase in the risk of premature mortality. That's sad. I have my moments where I'm definitely like, God, this sucks. But it's on me. It's all my fault. I agree.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Like when I'm feeling lonely, it's like I need to just check myself. Because sometimes, honestly, I just love being alone. Yeah, but you have a family. Which is also why I love being alone sometimes. And there are times where I'm like, I'm so glad I get to just lay here and watch TV and watch what I want. want and live the life that I want. Yeah. Or like, you know, be able to go and work and just go, hey, I'm going to go take and go work
Starting point is 00:17:44 out of California for a couple days, not check with any. That's just good. Yeah. With anything that's good and bad. Like, you have sacrifice to get what you want. And then when you sacrifice to get what you want and you get this over here, you're like, oh, man, I'm really missing out over here. Normal.
Starting point is 00:17:55 I know. I used to always, like, want to be a mom and be called mom. And now I hate that. You don't want that anymore. No, I do want it, but not 500 times. in an hour. Mom, mom, mom, mom. A couple who met while working at a Florida grocery store has included the store in their engagement photos. I'm always a big fan of that. You're happy? What makes you happy? Cool. Ride with that. Some people
Starting point is 00:18:23 think it's dorky. Most people think most things I do are dorky. You're not dorky. Thank you. You're welcome. See, I've practiced. I improved. You yelled at me. You see Lucky Charms is selling bags of just marshmallows. Yeah. That's cool. One time I got you a box of just marshmallows. Good for you. I don't think you ate them.
Starting point is 00:18:45 I didn't eat them, but I understood what you're saying by them. Like it. It wasn't just to eat marshmallows. I have a Lucky Charms outlook on life where when I eat my lucky charms, much like my life, I do all the work up front. I do all the oats and I leave the marshmallows for the last. So I haven't really got to the marshmallow part of my life yet. so I'm doing all the work up front
Starting point is 00:19:08 when I get on my bike and ride I grind it so hard at the beginning and I try to hit like 430 440 and then when I hit it with a couple minutes left and I'm just like I'm good I can relax I try to set a new record that's just how I do everything like get into it and just freaking run that lucky charms thing is a great analogy for
Starting point is 00:19:25 it is. It is. I was the exact opposite growing up like marshmallows first and I would throw away marshmallows only throw away the bowl Oh see and that's that's how I live my life And I live my life. I like to get like an equal part of all of it on the spoon because I feel like if you put it all together, that's when you get the perfect flavor. Isn't that funny? That's kind of how we live our lives.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Yes, dude. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, and mine is I only eat the oats and then. And sometimes if I don't eat the oats right, I just dump the marshmallows out. I don't deserve them. If you don't deserve it. Oh, geez. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Morgan number two, how do you eat? You're our lucky charms. Just drunk? Nice. With beer instead of milk. Dang. Hey, to be fair To be fair, though, like...
Starting point is 00:20:12 You do that to yourself. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't do anything. I didn't even say anything. I was watching your Instagram story the other day, and Morgan number two is at dinner. And some dude just pour an alcohol in her mouth.
Starting point is 00:20:23 A girl. Or is a waiter? Yeah, it was a waiter. It's like a Tuesday, and Morgan every other thing, and the dude just pouring alcohol in her mouth. And she's like, why would you say that about me? That's part of your brand. We love watching your stories on the road.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Part of your brand is party, Morgan, number two, your party girl. Yeah, but I hold my alcohol very well. No one said you didn't. But you're saying I'm being drunk lucky charms. You're assuming that that's what I'm doing. But do you not get drunk when you drink? I do, but I hold it very well. Bobby's been around me many times when I've been drunk.
Starting point is 00:20:57 Yeah, that's true. And I hold it well. What does that mean hold it well? Like you fake it well? Like you can... You're not out of control. Okay. So you can be like, I'm drunk, but I'm normal.
Starting point is 00:21:06 So how do you eat your lucky charms? I just eat, I get a little bit of the marshmallow and a little bit of the not so good stuff and then you combine them together so you eat them together. So we're the same. I don't know, maybe I expect a Morgan number two to be a little more like me. Like you? A little more oats up front. Mike D maybe.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Mike D. He doesn't get the any of this. No, Mike D is like, all I have is generic. I have Lucky Barnes. Yeah, I didn't have Lucky Barnes. Yeah. All right. All right, all right. Do I want to do... A woman's trying to crowdfund a butt lift for her mental health.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Not going great. She said she wants a butt lift because I need it for my mental health. She was able to scam the government into paying for her nose job by faking depression, but now they won't pay for her butt so she's crowdfunding the surgery. She's currently made $14.50. Oh, she's getting there. Lunchbox, if your wife said, hey, I'd like to get a butt left, what would you say? I, if you make you feel hotter, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:22:09 I mean, I don't know. I don't really know any girls with a butt lift. Maybe I do, but I'd have to see pictures what it's going to look like. Because, I mean, I ain't hating on her butt. But if it makes her feel better, I feel like it's a waste of money. But, hey, if she wants to get, you know, butt lift, I'm never mind. Now he's going to start suggesting things. Yeah, I'll just stop.
Starting point is 00:22:27 I'll just stop. I'll just stop. Answer the question that was presented. I want to go down that road. Stop there. Do you want to, Morgan number two, do a food world? We didn't get to the one today? Oh, yeah, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:22:37 All right. This is Food World with Morgan number two. It's time for Food World. Numb, Numb, with Morgan number two. Chick-fil-A had introduced mac and cheese at five of their locations. Well, it did so well that now it's at all of the locations as a side item to eat. And I must say, it's pretty good mac and cheese. Did you have it?
Starting point is 00:22:59 Yeah, I've had it. It's good. Did you see that Chipoli brought queso bag, but it's slightly different than the bad version they had it initially? It's queso blanco, isn't it, that they're making? Is it? That means white cheese, guys. Thank you, Eddie. Casso, cheese, blanco, white.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Do you know what yellow is? Amadio. Thank you. Where we'll be this weekend. Amario by morning. That's yellow by morning, guys. All right. Morgan number two, thank you.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Yeah. There you go. A couple things. One, check out the latest episode of the Bobbycast. If you're listening to this, for the most part, if you're listening on podcast, you can just search Bobbycast. It's one word. It's an interview show that I do. And the latest guest is Ingrid Andrus.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Here's a clip of Ingrid Andrus's latest song. Fantastic guest. I didn't realize how beloved she was from the industry. Oh, from the inside? Yeah, like I was posting. Oh, she's so good. She's 27, 28. Songwriter who's finally like, yeah, I'm going to be an artist too because she's just.
Starting point is 00:24:15 written all these hits for people, pop people, country people. But yeah, it's a fantastic bobbycast. Check it out. That one, I did a Thomas Rett one, which is going to be the national special this week. They're going to run on all the IHard Country Stations. Cool. Yeah. So, but there's a full Thomas for our bobbycast where we hang out. John Chris, the comedian, that one's doing well. So check it out. If you're bored today and you want to listen to a podcast of me talking to people about their lives, check it out, Bobbycast. Intern John from Kane Show reached out yesterday I was like, I listen to John Chris Bobby, guys. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:24:46 I thought that's pretty nice. It was nice. Someone from another show. Yeah. Yeah, that's awesome. Everybody is all haters to everybody. Yeah, why? Like, I'll, something, there'll be, like, a new story come out about me.
Starting point is 00:24:56 It'll be like, hey, so Bobby's doing whatever. And, like, all the, like, gossipy sides will kind of pick it up, but none of the radio sites will pick it up. Because I guess they think if I'm getting bigger, it may, I don't know, everybody's such haters. I enjoy meeting people. from other shows. And I enjoy promoting people from other shows. It doesn't matter. Like, there's enough for everybody to go out and achieve their dreams. People are such haters.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Haters. You go do the work, what I say? Yeah. Do less work hating. More work making. There you go. When you say the national, like a Thomas Rett, like they're going to play the whole interview? That's really cool. What's a whole special we did? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:36 It's into an hour. I mean, probably like three quarters of it makes the special because we have to play commercials at some point because it airs on the radio. Yeah. But yeah, we're doing that. Yeah, so check that out. Eddie and I'll be in Amarillo and in El Paso this weekend doing our comedy show. Amy, what do you want to say? I have a new Q&A episode up, so I have a Four Things podcast,
Starting point is 00:25:56 and every Tuesday we call this the fifth thing where I answer your questions. And I talk about the vitamins I take, my favorite shoes to work out in, recipes, this episode, stuff like that. Lunchbox? The sore losers. We got a new episode today. Ray, Eddie and myself. We do a sports podcast.
Starting point is 00:26:14 It's a little bit of sports, a little bit of just us being idiots. If you want to listen, we'd love for you to download it and listen. All right. Morgan number two. Go follow me on Instagram at Webgirl Morgan. Apparently I post a lot of drinking videos.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Not apparently. You know what you can post on the weekends. Yeah, you do. It's one big party story. And as they say, we're all here for it. I'm pretty sure you even comment sometimes, like don't hate while you're chugging like a beer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Living my best life. I am. Yeah. Thank you for using all of the slang terms, Bobby. I appreciate it. I'm with you. Just, you have created your lane. Oh, yesterday she was fixing a weed eater on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Oh, yeah. Do you watch that? No. Let me see if it's still out. I was laughing out loud. She had a beer with her? She was drinking whiskey. Here, hold my beer while I fix my weed eater.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Here we go. This is her Morgan number two with her weed eater. She did it. That's not easy. It's not easy. easy. So good job, Morgan. Let's listen to Morgan 2's into stories and see what we're dealing with. Okay, here's the first one. Got a shout out to Title
Starting point is 00:27:27 Nashville because I advertise for days. Oh, we had hair ties in the women's bathroom? Yeah, it made my day. Interesting. And I have to like track down another woman to find a hair tie. They had a whole jar of them. Eddie, why don't you come work out with me? So I have two gyms in Nashville. They're both Title Nash.
Starting point is 00:27:50 One in like downtown area, Church Street, not really downtown but close. And then one to East Nashville. Morgan and I work out together all the time. I will. I just got a I'd find a time to come down here again and do it. But I'd love to do a boxing thing with you.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Spar. Then here's one of her and her dog. That's just a picture. Okay, only three up. But let's look at your last post on Instagram. The last one is her pouring wine into a glass. Is that the Friday one? Fill your glasses for friends. It's Friday. Love that one. There's one of her, I love my body
Starting point is 00:28:22 for its strength and undeniable womanly powers. Oh, that's a good post. Okay. Here's one where she's eating an ice cream. Okay, here's another one though, where she's drinking again. So far, you're two for four on drinking. 50% of all posts I'm drinking. I'm sunburnt from mowing and hung over because of Nashville. So although you're not holding drinking there, you're mentioning.
Starting point is 00:28:41 So far you're three for five on drinking. We'll just check your last few. Looking at all these people turning themselves old and I'm like, I ain't even getting older. She wrote that one at work. Looking at all of us. No. It was when everybody was doing the old challenge on Instagram. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Oh, the old. They're all getting taken by the Russians. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So three for six, you're 50% drinking in your past six posts. It's pretty solid. I'm good with that. You're as drinking as I am dog.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Yeah, that'd be fair to say. Yeah. I have to get off this. I have a interview with a Birmingham radio station. Hey, am I doing this on the line, Ray, or on the phone? Christina Hillary. Phone. Phone?
Starting point is 00:29:28 Yeah. All right. We should have done it on the line. Oh, here we go. I'm taping in three minutes with Dollar Bill and Madison on 102.5, the Bull, Birmingham's number one for new country. Dollar Bill. Isn't Hall of Fame or Dollar Bill, right? And then WTXT and Tuscaloosa at 1045.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Cool thing about Dollar Bill is he gives, he hands out dollar bills. That's cool. Like real money? He gave me one one time, yeah. You should hand out bones. Little baby bones. Little bones. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:29:58 All right. Like dog bones? I don't know, any kind of bones. but nobody went with it. It's fine. Yeah, we're good. We're not going to be hitting out bones. Don't worry. I got to go.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Thank you, everyone. You're about to hear the rest of today's show. This is the actual whole today show for August 13th. I hope you enjoy it. And we'll check out vacation in the video. Oh, yes. Oh, it's out now. It's out now.

Starting point is 00:34:00 mr bobby bones let's go transmitting across America this is the bobby boy hey welcome to the show we got a good Tuesday show for you morning studio morning thank you
Starting point is 00:34:15 hey let's start off because this is pretty cool let's do on this day in country music hit me right window the bobby bone show on this day in country music today in 1988 which was 31 years ago Keith Whitley has the number one country song with
Starting point is 00:34:30 Don't close your eyes Remember what I told you about that song? What it really meant? No. We had the whole segment where it's like He's like stop thinking about him. Don't close your eyes. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:35:14 The real meaning. I thought this was like an alternative meaning again. Oh, yeah. No, no. Yeah. We talked about this on the show where everyone feels like this is a super love song but it actually is him going,
Starting point is 00:35:24 Hey, yeah, I know that we're together right now, but when you close your eyes, you're probably thinking about him. So don't close your eyes. Like, just be here with me, be present with me, which is wild. The whole story about this record, because the whole record was called Don't Close Your Eyes that he put out back in 1988. And he had recorded 15 songs, and the label was going to put it out. He had a whole record done. And he went to the label and said, I don't like it. So they said, okay, do it all the way.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Sheld the entire 15 songs. So he went back in, recut the record, don't close your eyes. was released. It was number one, which you just talked about. It was the number one country song of 1988. He went on to win his first and only CMA as a solo artist, got a Grammy nomination, and then he died the following year in May 9th, 1989. Oh, wow. I did not know that. What? He had died. Ever? Oh, that's like super famous. The big story. Yeah. I guess I just had... We've talked about that a lot, too, on the show. I'm sure. I remember the meaning of the song, though. There you go. On this day in 1988, that's the number one song. Keith,
Starting point is 00:36:24 Whitley, don't close your eyes. Don't close your eyes. All right, there you go. That was. This Day in country music. I want to go over and talk to Jerry in Massachusetts, who's on the line. Hey, Jerry, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show. How are you?
Starting point is 00:36:41 Hi, good morning, studio. Morning. How are you all? We're good. What's happening? I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the show. Oh, thank you very much. You're waking up early with us? I am.
Starting point is 00:36:52 And Bobby, I'm so happy that you're going to be back on Idol. Oh, thank you. I plan to also perform this year and try to win the competition. I felt like last year I was just mentoring this year. I'm going to get in the mix. School. Yeah. Well, I think that would be great.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Well, thank you very much. And thanks for listening. Where do you live in Massachusetts? I live in Georgetown. One of my favorite Georges. We were drafting, I'd pick Georgetown, Massachusetts of Georgia's. Jerry, thank you for calling the show. Thanks for listening.
Starting point is 00:37:19 And if you don't mind, tell a friend about us. Oh, I tell everybody about you. Oh, perfect. Get a tattoo of us. Oh. All right, I will. Is that too much? No, all right.
Starting point is 00:37:28 All right. Thank you. Have a good morning. You too, guys. Here's the Bobby Bones show podcast, highlight segment of the day. Okay, I have my list up on my phone of the snacks that I'll be picking here. So we're doing our draft in fantasy style, like fantasy football. We'll go around the room and draft our favorite gas station snacks.
Starting point is 00:37:48 And I admire what Eddie did yesterday. What? What's up? Eddie went to a gas station and then got on Instagram and said, hey, what's everybody's gas station? snack and started to look what people were going to say. Oh, he took his own poll. He did. Well, hey, good for you, bud.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Wanted. Good for you. And I saw Buckees actually responded. They did. So we will go around the room. We will draft gas station snacks. The rule is, there's no rule. You can pick anything in a gas station and be like,
Starting point is 00:38:17 that's my number one snack. So I will go first. With the first pick in the gas station snack, draft. I shall go with Flaming Hot Cheetos. God, that's so good. Thank you very much. Dang it. It's good. They did get a little messy when you're driving, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Truth. Don't make me hate on your pigs? Because I will. I already know you're going to hate on them anyways. I'm just getting ahead of it. That's not true. A lot of times I'm like, great pick. I know. I'm very, very warm at this game. And that's just a terrible pick. Unless you like, the theme is like songs from the 80s and you pick Blanco Brown to get up right like Lunchbox did that with the 90s
Starting point is 00:39:03 he picked a song for the 2000s okay are you ready Amy I'm a little nervous with the second overall picked in the gas station snack draft Amy you got king's eyes shareable peanut M&Ms oh interesting were you already going there or did I convince you set no I was the first thing on my list and then you've said it earlier and I was like oh why Peanut Eminemes are a solid choice. They're great. Nobody doesn't like peanut eminems.
Starting point is 00:39:30 Terrible, shareable king. You don't get the regular size. You don't have to go with the king size. We're not putting the sides of the bags. Oh, okay. Well, but at the gas station, that's what they offer you. And you're like, okay, might as well. Because if that's the case, I'm going to go with a keg of flaming hot Cheetos.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Okay. All right, lunchbox for the next pick in the draft. When I stop at the gas station, I'm hungry. I'm looking for something that has protein that's kind of healthy. I walk down the aisle and it catches my eyes. something I love. Beef jerky. Solid pick. Beef jerky. I saw a lot of people on Eddie's Instagram saying beef jerky. A lot of people. All right. Eddie,
Starting point is 00:40:04 with the next pick in the gas station snack draft. I mean, lunchbox went beef jerky right in front of me, but I'm going to be technical with him and I'm going to take Slim Jim, which is not a beef jerky. Okay. There you go. Slim gym, baby. Snap it over that Slim Jim. Snap into a slim gym. Oh, what does it say? Is that Randy, Macho Man? Oh, yeah. Snap into a Slim Gym.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Wow, beef jerky and Slim Jim back to bat. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're going to split the vote with that one a little bit. Yeah. Morgan number two. I got to go with something I always ate when I'd play softball. Sunflower seeds. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:40:46 That was my next one. So here's everybody's first pick in the gas station snack draft. Bobby, Flaming Hot Cheetos. Amy, peanut M&Ms, lunchbox, beef jerky, Eddie. Snap into a Slim Jam. Yeah. And Morgan number two, sunflower seeds. Morgan number two, you have the next pick
Starting point is 00:41:07 because it goes down the line and then backward. Go ahead. I like these for breakfast. Some hostess donuts. Okay, hostess donuts. Pretty generic. Why are you hating, Eddie? It's just generic.
Starting point is 00:41:22 Why are you hating? Okay. It's a solid pick. Maybe not the most glamorous, but a soft. solid pick. If it's the powdered ones, again, a little messy in the car. Okay. But the powder ones are so good. You can wipe those on your jeans. They got napkins at the gas station. I know. They're very,
Starting point is 00:41:36 very good. Eddie, here we go. I'm going to go pizza flavored combos. No! No! Pizza flavored combo. Yeah. Why did you go flavor and why pizza? Because that's the best one. Lunchbox, take a different combo flavor and do what he did to you. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Cut them off of the knees, man. If I knew another combo flavor, I would do that. You can make one up. But no, I'm not doing that because I get in trouble for making things up on the fly. That's true, you do. So I have beef jerky, you know, that's protein. But everybody likes sweets when they go
Starting point is 00:42:08 to the gas station. You want something fun. You want something you want to indulge and you want taste so good. Give me Reese's peanut butter cups. Boom. Solid pick. Solid pick. I'm going to tell you, my first three picks have been, you guys have all nailed them. Really? I'm sorry. Right now, I'm just, I'm looking.
Starting point is 00:42:25 I'm kind of on my eighth pick. It's coming No, I had jerky and combos on as my top three. Yeah, combos too, but wait. I got to be honest, I don't even know what combos are. I just on Eddie's Instagram, pop up over and over again. What? No, it's true. Like, the only time you buy combos is at the gas station.
Starting point is 00:42:43 You don't buy combos. I don't even think they're at the grocery store. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just, man, shoot. Wait. Amy, you have your second pick in the gas station snack draft. Well, see, because I have a different flavor combos that I love. Yes, go for it.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Do it. No, because that's just going to divide. No, I can't do that. I'll just let you have it, Eddie. Take it, take it, take it. I mean, this is something I literally buy at the gas station all the time. I know it's not super fun, but, oh, gum. Gumb.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Maybe that's funny. Is that bad? No, there's not a bad answer. It's good, though. Oh, nobody loves it. Nobody says solid answer. Way to go. That's great.
Starting point is 00:43:25 But I buy that at the gas station Yeah Okay All right You got bones Ooh you're thinking A heart of it No I've got a couple here
Starting point is 00:43:35 Because I have two picks in a row now Looks like you're crunching numbers over there So yeah Three times two minus the one I'm gonna go with my next pick I'm gonna go with Funnions You know I talked about it yesterday I just think there's a
Starting point is 00:43:48 There's a real passionate base for the Funnians And I think the people are behind that one Yeah People do like those. I think so too. So here we go. You're going to need gum after you eat those.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Well, I can take any kind of gum I want. Or mince. Ooh. So we have one more pick left. It's back over to me, huh? I mean, do I want to go with three chips? Because Doritos are always a solid pick. Like Doritos, and like, I would just slam it with Cool Ranch Doritos probably.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Right, right, right. Go specific. Yeah, it's my pick again. Like, I did love pork rinds, though. Like, at the gas is the only time I get pork rinds. They have my grocery stores now though. Well, they have all the stuff at grocery stores. I'm gonna go...
Starting point is 00:44:35 Ooh, do I go pickle though? Oh! Because a lot of people... Go pickle, go pickles. They do like pickles. I do like pickles. I got one. Do I like switch it up and go Snickers bar though?
Starting point is 00:44:47 Oh yeah. That's a good one, Bones. Maybe a slurpy? Possibly. I have the final pick here. Hmm. I'm gonna go with I'm really thinking on this one here
Starting point is 00:45:07 Yeah, no, we see that What are those things called? There's chikaroni sticks What? There's chikarone Huh? Never mind. Churros?
Starting point is 00:45:18 No. Okay. My pick so far are Flaming Hot Cheetos and Funions with the next pick That's tough. I'm gonna I'm gonna go with
Starting point is 00:45:28 Gardettos. Dang it! That was mine! Oh! Bones, that's a solid. That wasn't even on your radar. Where did that come from? I don't yell my radar out before I came.
Starting point is 00:45:38 In the history of me ever doing this, I never yell my radar out as doing it. Except you did do Funnions yesterday. I know. I was tricking you guys with the reverse radar. Man, Gardetto takes me back to my childhood. Amy, with your last pick. So far, you have peanut M&Ms and gum in the gas station snack draft. Yes.
Starting point is 00:45:58 I have once you pop, you can't stop. Sour cream and onion pringles. Sour cream on your, Pringle. That's a solid pick. It's a solid pick. Thank you. I still think, listen, I'm beyond. I still think pickle is a pick for someone.
Starting point is 00:46:09 It has to be, right? I still think pickle is a good pick for someone. I'm not even saying that. I think you got to go with the gas station. Pickle. I almost pick the pickle. I cannot eat a pickle. I didn't say it was for me.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Lunchbox. So far, you have beef jerky and Reese's peanut butter cups. What is your final snack? Man, when you go to the gas station and you're hungry and you really want something good that's going to fill you up and you look at those things just spinning and spinning and spinning and you say, yeah, I want one of those hot dogs from the gas station. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:42 That's gross. Those, like, they're there? I think I didn't want to pick a little rod dog. Yeah, straight up. They're there because they sell, folks. They are there because people buy them. Some of those look like they've been there for days. Yeah, they're like shrippled.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Have y'all ever had one from the gas station? Maybe once. They are good. I suppose you didn't go sushi. I go sushi from the gas station. Yeah. Eddie. Okay. All right. This is tough.
Starting point is 00:47:04 And I thought you were going to take it, Bones. You have Slim Jim and Pizza-flavored combos so far. You mentioned it in your little radar thing. Yeah. And I'm so glad you didn't take it. I'm going pork rinds. You have to go pork rinds. I know. I was struggling with that one.
Starting point is 00:47:20 Yeah. But I knew when I wouldn't say it, I'd say it out loud. But down south, we'd call them chicharrones. Play into your audience. Yeah. Morgan number two with the final pick in the gas station snack draft. So far, you have sunflower seeds and hostess donuts. I got to go with some sour gummy worms.
Starting point is 00:47:39 Solid pick. That's a good candy pick. Yeah, gummy worms. Sour gummy worms, though, specifically, right? Because I think sour's where it's at, too. Okay, there we have it. We'll build the page now. You'll build a vote in the next 15, 20 minutes at bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:47:52 On who has the best gas station snack draft. I have Flaming Hot Cheetos, Funions, and Gardettos. I'm carving up over here. I'm chipping up. I'm just committed to the chip. Lunchbox has beef jerky, Reese's peanut butter cups, and hot dogs. The guy loves his meat. There's one thing about lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:48:12 He loves his meat. Eddie has slim gems, pizza-flavored combos, and pork rinds. A little bit of everything. Yeah, a little bit of jerky. Morgan number two has sunflower seeds, hostess donuts, and sour gummy worms. So good. A redgers, right? No.
Starting point is 00:48:27 No. You skipped Amy. It's your favorite. I can tell. Sorry. She has gas. She has air from the air pressure machine. Oh, rude.
Starting point is 00:48:37 King size shareable. She has a penny from the take a penny cup. Why didn't anyone take that? That's funny. She has courteous service from the person working the desk. And a lighter. Yeah. She's got a pack of Marloreau.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Marlars. I actually have King's size shareable. No. Just peanut imamins. This is what I buy at the gas station. Gum. Gum. Everybody loves gum.
Starting point is 00:49:08 You didn't even pick a flavor. You don't have a bubba or anything? You said gum. I didn't think. The choice is yours. Gum. And then sour cream and onion pringles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:19 She like went specific on the pringles, but not the gum. Oh. I like it, though. Everybody, he did a good job. Good job, everyone. Just all the one. Go vote bobbygones.com. Cool.
Starting point is 00:49:29 All right. This is fun. I guess I'll sit out again. I think you'll do well I think you'll do well Okay so you'll be able to vote at bobbybones.com We'll let you know whenever that goes up Bobby Bones Show

Yeah officials are warning to be careful Don't let your dogs play in ponds of water There's a toxic algae bloom going on And it can be bad for your dog's health And they could even die In San Francisco, half a million dollars worth of jewelry
Starting point is 00:49:56 and electronics was stolen from ex-baseball star Alex Rodriguez car while it was broadcasting. police are reviewing security footage. And finally, a video of a CNN anchor threatening a man who called him an off-color name. The argument escalated, and the anchor threatened two men with physical violence.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Authorities are reviewing the tape. A teenager got a BMW as a gift from his parents, which sounds awesome. However, he wanted a jaguar instead, and he drove the BMW into a river because he was mad and made a video of it. Wow. It sounded like parents brought this kid up good, huh?
Starting point is 00:50:33 Yeah. The video is currently going viral. I mean, I would watch the video. I'm like, I'm going to lie to you. Oh, yeah. I'm going to Google it now. Yeah. The exact model of the BMW sedan is not known.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Looks like a three or five series, which is about $50,000. He reportedly pushed the car in the river and also made a video of it. However, after the vehicle got stuck in a patch of tall grass, he then took the help of locals and tried recovering the vehicle. Anyway, it's a brat. Don't raise brats. And that's the more you know. Right? Thank you. Yes. Every parent out there.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Because, I mean, there's the parent listening right now, though. They were about to buy their kid of BMW and they're like, ooh, should find out if they want a jaguar. Yep. The more you know. Thank you. The average person now gains 36 pounds in a long-term relationship. Wow. That's significant.
Starting point is 00:51:23 That's not three to six. That's 36. Wow. According to a new study, the average person now gains a delicious 36 pounds in long-term relationships. You gain 17 in the first year alone. what do you think the main reason is that you gain weight in relationships?
Starting point is 00:51:40 You just get comfortable and then you're probably eating a lot more with someone. I find sometimes when my husband is gone on work trips or whatever, I don't eat as much because sometimes it's like, if I'm not hungry for dinner,
Starting point is 00:51:51 it's like not a big deal. Because it's not a social thing? Right. And then when he's around, you definitely eat a lot more when you have a significant other. So there's that. And then there's the comfortable factor.
Starting point is 00:52:00 I mean, 42% say it's going out to dinner. Mm-hmm. and having dinner together. Yeah. 64% of people say it's because they felt like they could relax. See? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:11 See, I'm not there yet. I'm still peacocking a little bit. I still got to look somewhat pretty. Be like, ooh. Desirable. Yeah, I want to get them with that peacock over there. Mm-hmm. Gotta have those feathers flashy.
Starting point is 00:52:23 I'm trying. The abs aren't as easy to hold as they used to be. Is that right? Yeah, I only got like two and a half right now. The other ones are still in there. They're just hidden. I know. I got to get on it.
Starting point is 00:52:34 it again. I haven't let myself go at all, but I'm at like 159 right now. Like 157 is like my good spot. And it all goes right to my stomach. Like that belly spot, but when Idle starts back at the end of September, I got about two to three pounds to really lose.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Because it's in my, where's the first place you get fat? Oh, me, my face. Me too. Like the next day. The next day from what? What are you doing in that one day that makes your face? I don't know. I mean, I'm assuming it's inflammation, but it looks like weight gain. I'm like great. Kevin in North Carolina
Starting point is 00:53:04 You're on the Bobby Bone show. Hey, Kevin. Hey, hey, what's up, Bobby? What's up, dude? You're on the air. I appreciate it. Hey, good morning, studio. Morning.
Starting point is 00:53:14 So, I just want to let you guys know, look. I grew up in California. I'm now transplanted here in North Carolina. I had no idea what country music was all about. I stumbled across the dial, found you guys. I've been here for about a year now. I've got an hour commute every morning. And thanks to you guys, it feels like about two minutes.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Oh, we love it. Come on. Give us a big hand. Let's give us some of the big time. That's awesome, man. Thank you so much. I wish you guys were on in the evening, too, because I've got to drive that same hour back home,
Starting point is 00:53:43 and that'll get you guys in the evening, so that's kind of a bummer. But thanks so much. You guys are just awesome. Well, on your phone, I have a podcast, and Amy has a podcast. The guys have a podcast, and so it's like our spinoff shows.
Starting point is 00:53:57 I have an interview show. Amy has a... Maybe it's not for him, but he can check it out. Oh, yeah, no. Well, I have mail listeners. Oh, you do? I do.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Sometimes they email me and I get shocked. There you go. Check it out. Mine's called The Bobbycast. Amy's this called Four Things with Amy Brown and Lunchbox. Eddie and Ray's is called The Soar Losers. Hey, thanks, but I appreciate that. Amy, your kids got asked to be in the Get Up music video?
Starting point is 00:54:21 Yes. By the way, the Get Up is this song right here. I want to do the two-step in cowboy, all right, so tell me more. Well, I got an email. from the music label, and they're making the video. And I guess there's going to be a playground scene where they need like 15 kids or so, and they asked if my kids wanted to be a part of it.
Starting point is 00:54:41 And there was a talent fee. Like, they're going to get paid. It's a paid gig. I had to submit like headshots to the kids, which I don't have. I just sent pictures. But, you know, I don't know. I was like, oh, whoa. Did they ask for your kids to be in it or say, hey, would your kids like to audition to be in it?
Starting point is 00:54:56 No, they just straight up asked. I don't think that they have to be, you know, really good dancers. by any means they did attach the YouTube link to the video and they were like, here it is so that the kids can practice. And I was like, my kids are not going to be able to have this memorized by the time this goes down. So it's today. So I don't know. I mean, we tried our best. They're showing up.
Starting point is 00:55:18 I have no idea what, you know, the result's going to be, but I'm excited. How much they get paid? $100. Each? I don't know. Yeah. I would think so. Sure.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Okay. Yeah, because they said if one or both of them wants to do and this is the talent fee, $100. So I guess, yeah, don't tell them that. I haven't told them that's 100. Are you keeping that money? Are you the momager? Momager gets it first, and then I will divvy out based on performance. Wow.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Or attitude. Are you going to go and watch? If I can. It's like a little ways out. And so we've got it. We're trying to figure out scheduling. But they'll get there. Do they know that they're going to the video yet?
Starting point is 00:55:56 Yes, I asked them before I committed. I said, hey, guys, I got a note. You've been asked to be in a music video for this. song and they've seen your video with doing the dance. So they know it and they both said yes. Right away, I thought Stashear would say no. I knew Stevenson would be like, whatever, yeah. And then Stashera, she said yes, I was shocked.
Starting point is 00:56:14 She doesn't like to be like on camera and stuff. Are they going to be those kids that have all their money stolen by their manager mom? And they get older and they're like, they're on Jerry Springer version 2030. They're like, I remember when it all started when I did the get-up music video and I didn't get my money. And I should have known then to fire my mom. Mm-hmm. $100 each. They do not need $100.
Starting point is 00:56:35 But I can put it away. That means she's going to keep it. I know. No, I already, I probably actually, I think I owe stuff she or around 80. Or just taking money out of hers? She has a wallet in her dresser upstairs where she keeps all of her money. That's from like... How does she get money?
Starting point is 00:56:51 Well, she sells her Espoa bracelets. So she gets money from that. She gets birthday money, like gifts and stuff. And she just keeps it. She does not spend it. And you borrow it? And sometimes I need to go to the ATM. Which is her.
Starting point is 00:57:06 Do you pay her back with interest? She doesn't, I don't think she's noticed yet. Because I don't know that she's opened the wallet up. If she were to open it up at this point, she'd be like, where's all my money? But I keep waiting for her to ask me where it is. I'll pay her back, don't worry. I will. No one even questioned you.
Starting point is 00:57:21 I know. Amy starts arguing with us. We're not even arguing with it. But I feel bad that I haven't paid it back yet. Because, I mean, it's been happening. And you can fix that. Over the last few weeks. You can pay her back today.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Be like Eddie. He never paid back to football, and then he went back and did it. A year later, yeah. Yeah, true. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30 second skinny. Blake Shelton has a new song called Hell Right. He's dropping this Friday.
Starting point is 00:57:45 It's a collaboration with Trace Adkins. Brothers Osborne have a live at the Ryman album coming out on October 11th. It was recorded during three nights of shows there earlier this year, and they said getting to record there is something they will never forget. To play this place one night is a gift, and it's an accomplishment that everyone should remember. But the fact that we did at 3, it's still, I can't even rent my mind around it. Jake Owen's daughter, Paris, has some serious facial expressions. Everyone has been telling Jake that she gets it from him.
Starting point is 00:58:14 He said that he thought he was a pretty easygoing, funny guy, but he learned through Paris that he has a very serious instead of friendly face. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinning. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A nine-year-old boy from Anthem, Arizona, has donated his hair twice to a nonprofit that helps kids battling cancer. This is from KPHOTV.
Starting point is 00:58:41 The kid said, I decided to grow out my hair because I thought the kids in cancer needed hair. Well, the problem was some of his classmates were bullying him over his long and sometimes awkwardly-length hair. Yeah. Because when you're growing it out, it's not. always super pretty. They thought I was crazy because I was a boy and they don't usually see boys with long hair. He said that they didn't, he didn't let bullying stand in the way. Grow it out, cut it off again, bust it off.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Second time he's donated all his hair. Wow. So good for him, one, for the idea and for doing it and two for like standing up to the bullies and doing it anyway. That's right. Because I'm sure that can't be comfortable for a nine-year-old kid. Your son's nine? Yeah. I mean, sometimes he does feel picked on and it's never any fun.
Starting point is 00:59:27 So shout out to Anthem, Arizona, and Brody, who's helping out other kids. That's what's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:03:14 Story of the day. This story comes with us from Florida. A man wanted to take his kayak out on the lake, but he only had one person, him, and he couldn't get off the roof of his cars. He was like, What I'll do is I'll go down the boat ramp and I'll slam on the brakes and the kayak will fly off the top of the car. Scientifically sounds wonderful. So he's going down the boat ramp and accidentally hits the gas instead of the brake. And his car ends up. It goes into the water. So the kayak did come off in the water, but his SUV boom, boom, boom, boom. Well, both options weren't going to end well.
Starting point is 01:03:47 You really can't break slam and then hope you're, what's your kayak going to do? Float away? You got to jump into a little kayak. Like the guy's not the brightest guy anyway Also, you got to know before you go You need any help getting the kayak off. Is there not anyone around? Hey, excuse me, sir, would you mind help me get a kayak off? Right.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Or if you can't find anybody, you just go home. It's not a good plan. All right, he was a bonehead from the beginning, for sure. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Hey, thanks for calling the show. Let's talk to Robert.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Who's on? Hey, Robert, thanks for calling the Bobby Bone show. What's up, bud? Hey Bobby I just wanted to give you guys a call This ex-Rober and Michelle You guys actually named our baby Skywalker We just wanted to call
Starting point is 01:04:40 And let you know that we did have them on Thursday The 8th And his name is Skywalker Let me reset for our listeners Robert and his wife called up And said hey you can name our kid But here are the options And what were the names for the boy Robert
Starting point is 01:04:57 You guys were thinking between The names were Skywalker, Atray U, and Cassian. So three characters from science fiction. They love science fiction, and we voted as a show, and of the three, we picked Skywalker, and then they named their kid on our vote. It's awesome. And so what's his name? It's Skywalker.
Starting point is 01:05:19 Is that his first name? Yes, Skywalker is his first name, and his middle name is Legalus. What's that? Excuse me? Legless. Legulus, yes, from Lord of the Rings. Oh, boy. Skywalker Legulus.
Starting point is 01:05:35 Yes. Amy has a picture. She's going to show me here. I'm looking at the baby. Well, look at that baby right there. That is a cute baby. Have you broken the news to him what his name is yet? Yes.
Starting point is 01:05:49 And actually we did his room up as all Star Wars stuff. And actually got his baby pictures. taken with some lightsabbers and then you walk and Chewbacher and stuff so. Hey, good for you. Are you going to call him Sky? No, we are going to call him Skywalker. We're actually fighting our other kids because they want to call him just by Sky. But we're like, no, it's Skywalker. I bet you that's too long. I bet you eventually you'll just call him Sky or Walker. Right. I would think so.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Maybe even Walker is a normaler name for like a school so they don't get made fun of. Right. That's going to be. So as of right now, we're sticking with Skywalker. Okay. Listen, I love it. You have something you love, makes you feel good. That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:06:35 I name my dog after a character from the office. Granted, not a human, but, you know, I named Stanley after someone from the office. Hey, and the baby's healthy? Everything's good? Yes, both. Yeah, the baby's healthy. Michelle's doing good. So, yeah, everyone's doing good.
Starting point is 01:06:51 How to, had a good delivery. Well, we appreciate that update. All right. Yeah, we just want to call and know that we did stick with the name, Skywalker, so you guys officially named our baby. There it is. That's awesome. We'd like to name all the babies and all our listeners if we could. Hey, Robert, have a good day, bud.
Starting point is 01:07:09 All right, you guys have a great day as well. All right, see you later. By the way, Legulus is Orlando Bloom's character and Lord of the Ring. Really? So just naming them babies is what we do. Let me go to Megan in California real quick. Hey, Megan, you are on the Bobby Bone Show. What would you like to say?
Starting point is 01:07:24 Hey, guys. Morning, Studio. Morning. I was just wondering how you travel so much and you're like sleep schedule, sleep schedule changes so much. How do you, like, do that? Like, what's some tips? I'm going back to work today.
Starting point is 01:07:37 I'm struggling. The tip is, for me, as I never get used to it, I always kind of feel crappy when I'm traveling. I just get better at performing while feeling crappy. Like, that's how I make my strides is I can't fix my sleep schedule. I'm West Coast, East Coast, Central Time Zone, late night, travel on the weekends for shows. So what I do is.
Starting point is 01:07:56 is just try to improve myself when I don't feel my best. Because then when I feel my best it's like rock and roll city, I'm like, oh my goodness, I'm great. But just a general principle in my life is if I can improve when I'm not my best, when I am my best,
Starting point is 01:08:08 I'm automatically going to be so improved. Because if I'm up, when I'm down, then I'm going to be way up when I'm up. So my goal is to really focus when you're feeling bad, get better at doing it when you're not feeling your best because when you are your best,
Starting point is 01:08:18 you're going to crush it. You know what I mean? Yeah. You just can't help the fact that you're traveling and you're not getting sleep. can't help it so deal the cards that you've been given
Starting point is 01:08:28 get better when you're not good when you are great you'll be even better there you go that makes sense or too much no it makes sense alright time for the country music played on a saxophone game before the break we played this clip here of jaco
Starting point is 01:08:46 and barefoot blue gene night on saxophone never gonna give up Whoa. Never gonna slow down. Okay, so all these are country songs played on saxophone. And you haven't seen the list. Mm-mm. Okay. And no way.
Starting point is 01:09:01 By the way, this is a Mike D production. A Mike D special. Oh, special. Close. Thank you. All right, here we go. Saxophone song number one. I'm in.
Starting point is 01:09:13 I'm in for the win. Men. Girl crush. A little big town. Girl crush. Oh, girl crush. That's Girl Crush. All right, everybody gets, is that right?
Starting point is 01:09:36 I got a girl. Should I just went NASS instead of thinking we're all right. All right. Number two, Raymondo, play me that country music song on saxophone. But he's writing something down. You know it? Yeah. I'm sure lunchbox is making something up right now.
Starting point is 01:10:15 All right, three seconds. Because she's crazy, and her crazy is beautiful to me. It's beautiful crazy. Thank you. Shoot, I put Crazy Beautiful. Oh, you know, the dyslexic version. I know. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:10:34 You said the dyslexic version? Yeah. Lunchbox. I got better with you. Eduardo. Beautiful crazy. Wow. All right.
Starting point is 01:10:44 I see you over there, Eddie. I'm not to get your bones. I want to take the check down. All right. Ready? Next one up. I'm in. I'm in.
Starting point is 01:10:59 Lunchbox. Oh, hold on. Sh. Now I... Five seconds. Speechless. Oh, no! You got it wrong, lunch?
Starting point is 01:11:28 Amy? Speechless. Good. Lunchbox? Shameless! So close. Shameless. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:11:35 I got speechless. Good. Next one up. This is the whole song, Amy. Amy? Brett Young. Lunchbox? Holy.
Starting point is 01:12:33 No. It is cop car. Dang it. Oh, wherever you are. I keep turning it. Eddie? Cop car. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:44 In the back of a car. There was something back away. The blue lights are shining. Bringing out the freedom in your eyes. I was too busy watching you. Go and watch. Give me a run, Eddie. You may win it here.
Starting point is 01:12:56 I'm not backing down. You shouldn't. You're the man. All right, here we go. Last one. You know it. I sing it over here. I know.
Starting point is 01:13:39 God gave me you. Oh, good one. Amy. U. That's all I have. Incorrect. Lunchbox? I have God bless the broken road.
Starting point is 01:13:51 So close. Ray that part on that one. I have God gave me you. Eddie? I too have God gave me you. Oh, wow. Does it seem like ups and down? For the ups and down.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Broken road, yeah. Can you go on a speed round, Eddie? You'll get me on the speed around. You just call the tie this? Okay, no, I don't want to do a tie. You can win very easily. Come on. Just buzz in your name if you know it.
Starting point is 01:14:12 Oh, boy. Ready for this one. Here we go. Bobby. Oh, why? Oh, good. Good. It's Rascal Flats.
Starting point is 01:14:20 Okay, well, then what's the name in the song? Come on, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Come on, big shot. Come on, big shot. You guys interrupted my thinking. No, you said your name. I don't get to hear anymore. Mm-mm.
Starting point is 01:14:36 Do you know it? No, I haven't even heard. I was trying to yell. You guys started counting down in the middle of my think time. Hold on. Take your time. Oh, really? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:45 I don't have the tune to go on in my head anymore. Okay, hold on. Let me see if I can remember what I was hearing. If I can get it back, can I win if I get it? Well, right now? That's what you. I guess it now. If you guess it now in the next five seconds, do.
Starting point is 01:14:58 I wouldn't let them yell in the middle of your thinking time, though. Oh, yeah, I know. I agree. Okay. Fine. Take ten seconds. Okay, hold on. Play some music, grandma, or something.
Starting point is 01:15:07 We can't have dead air because that'll kill it. Oh, right. Yeah. People change the station. Right. Hold on. I don't have it. I lost the tune.
Starting point is 01:15:20 It goes like this. Well, don't tell me because I haven't heard it. I lost a tune. All right. Oh. Nice, great. Thank you, Ramundo. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:15:29 All right. Now I got to play the song. I can't hear the song. Sorry, sorry, my bad. It's so easy. There you go. Oh, what hurts the most. There you go.
Starting point is 01:15:59 Nice win. Good win. I got you. I jumped too early. Dude, that's like beating the Patriots. You got me. Good win. That's a good win by you, for sure. You guys try to cheat.
Starting point is 01:16:11 Trying to not let me hear that song. You guys didn't let me take my listen. Tao, Tao. Good win, Eddie. Thank you, phones. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So there's a kid who broke the Guinness World Record for solving Rubik's Cube with his feet.
Starting point is 01:16:28 I was watching the video. It is amazing. I can't do the Rubik's Cube with my hands. in this, he looks like a 12 year old. No, I mean, it's pretty crazy. It's amazing. So, first of all, the record by hand is 3.47 seconds. So this kid decided, I'm going to try it out with my feet.
Starting point is 01:16:44 16.9 seconds is how long it takes him. And that's about how long it takes us to put on a pair of shoes and lace them up. And he's solving a Rubik's Cube. Well, the amazing thing is he can actually make a turn of the cube with his feet at all. Yeah. Because that's tough to do just turning the cube at all, even not getting it right. Yeah, but it's pretty amazing. It's only got 60,000 views right now,
Starting point is 01:17:06 but a Rubik's Cube with the feet world record, 16.9 6 seconds. Pretty amazing. How old is this kid, Amy, does it say? I know that he mastered it with his hands by age 11, but I don't know how old he is in this video. He looks like he's 12 or 13 years old. Yeah. All right, what else?
Starting point is 01:17:22 Okay, so we all know about the five-second rule and the food drops on the floor and you got five seconds to eat it, but BuzzFeed, and I thought that's pretty funny, decided to run a survey asking people which foods they will and won't eat after they drop them on the floor. Because it's not just like how many. Anything wet? There's a point one second. It touches the floor. It's done.
Starting point is 01:17:40 Because it's going to stick to it. Right. Okay. So I'm eliminating fruit out of the shell or out of the rhine. Anything wet. Yeah. There's some good ones on here and like sort of wet. But you think about it, you're making like a piece of toast and you're putting peanut butter and jam on top. No butter can do it. And it falls face down.
Starting point is 01:18:01 You still don't need it? None. That's wet, right? Yes. Yeah, that's, you can't do that. There's a percentage of people that are like, yeah, it's fine. I'm still going to eat it. Spaghetti meatballs.
Starting point is 01:18:10 Wet. Any sauce or spread? You can't do it. Okay, a piece of pizza, depending on which side it lands on. All right. Great question. If it lands on the bottom side. No big deal.
Starting point is 01:18:21 It depends how clean the floor is and what part of the floor, too. But I could see myself scooping up quick from the bottom, but not from the top. The number one thing that people will, like, 95. 5% of people are still going to eat if it drops on the floor. Let me think about this. A French fry, right? Cookie. Quality guesses.
Starting point is 01:18:41 It's got to be something dry and hard. What's my favorite dry and hard thing? That falls on the floor. Falls on the floor. I'm going to go with crackers. A cookie. Oh, you got it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:59 So there you go. That was fun. Family in Ohio is suing a fertility clinic after their DNA kits that they got as a gift as a family showed that one of their daughters isn't related to the dad. Now, she got pregnant using a fertility clinic. Somebody else's another man's sperm? The fertility clinic used a random person's sperm. And not the one they wanted.
Starting point is 01:19:23 And the daughter, she's 24 years old now and just now finding out that her. Oh, heavens. Yeah. Oh, my. Yeah. Oh, whoa. Mm-hmm. That's not good.
Starting point is 01:19:34 That stinks for everyone involved. So now she doesn't know her biological, I mean, I don't mean this is her dad. She thought she was down a long that raised her, but her real biological dad, like the medical history, the family, the genetics, who even is, who her grandparents are. Does she have brothers and sisters? Youch. Woo! Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:19:52 She has to deal with the fact that a clinic fertilized her eggs with a complete stranger's sperm and then place them in her body. The bomb. Pretty nuts. That stinks for her, too, to go. I wonder where my biological dad is. That's tough. Did his DNA kids get you in trouble? I just want to know what country I was from.
Starting point is 01:20:10 I'm trying to find who I'm related to. I told you I got cousins every two weeks reaching out to me on email. Hey, Bobby, you're my third cousin. And they're right. They have the data to prove it. All right, is that it, Amy? Yeah, I'm Amy. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of stories.

Starting point is 01:23:55 APUS. Dot E-DU slash military. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So on a highway in Oklahoma City near Tinker Air Force Base, an elderly woman was carrying heavy bags and walking two miles home.
Starting point is 01:24:17 Again, near a highway, it's super hot outside. Well, an airman who was nearby, you know, because of the base, he offered her a ride home, helped her load the groceries into his car. And a woman that just happened to me in the right area caught all this on video. She posted it. And it now has more than 2 million views and like 65,000 shares. And according to Tinker Air Force Base, the airman is a member of the 552nd Air Control Wing. Good for him. Two million views on people watching good stuff.
Starting point is 01:24:48 See, people like to see good stuff. They do. I like that. Yeah. That's a good story right there. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Folks, it's your buddy and mind.
Starting point is 01:24:57 Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right. Moments away from the fantasy draft. Today we'll be drafting our favorite gas station snacks. But first time for Amy's joke with the Morning Corny.
Starting point is 01:25:19 The Morning Corny. Where do couples fight? at the mall. Where do couples fight at the mall? In the feud court. The feud court. Pretty good. That was the morning corny. Did your husband like shopping with you? No.
Starting point is 01:25:39 He doesn't. He gets annoyed. His patience is about 20 minutes. 20 minutes. I mean, you can even try on one thing in 20 minutes. Oh, you can't? Well, I mean, find the thing and then go try it on. I'm already annoyed. I'm annoyed at the length of this conversation. No, he acts like he's been at the mall forever, seriously, if he's been there 20 minutes. And I say, it's only been 20 minutes. He's like, well, it feels like forever.
Starting point is 01:26:00 This just came in the text line. Says, good morning studio, the question for Amy. Earlier this morning, she was talking about borrowing cash from her daughter's wallet. I can be wrong, but sounds like her daughter is not aware of the quote, unquote, loan to Amy. Is this the case? Correct. Amy wouldn't want to teach her kids to be secretive and, quote, borrowing from her pocketbook, why would she do this to them? Respectfully, Kim. Because on the mom. Ooh. She got you with that.
Starting point is 01:26:32 There's a lot of things kids can't do because they're the kids and then things parents can do because they're the parents. So, I mean, she, we allow, her money that she makes, like, we've told her she needs to put it in the bank, which that would be better because then I wouldn't borrow it. But she has asked if she can keep it in her nightstand with her, she can't just freely spend her money on whatever she wants. Like if I say no to ice cream or a slushy, she can't be like, well, I have my own money. I'm going to go buy it. So we're talking two different things though. I know. All I'm asking is it's okay to take from her. Right. No,
Starting point is 01:27:07 that was my way of setting up that I'm still in charge of the money. So if I'm going to borrow it, I don't, I don't have to run it by her, but I will pay her back. You're the banker. I'd rather slide it back in there and she never knows. And then it's a non-issue. And that's my plan. Long story short, as you're the mom. Yes. Okay. Got it. You answered it. There you go. Arod lost $500,000 when his rental car got broken into. Now, this story is a little nutty to me.
Starting point is 01:27:35 And would you look up Eddie Arod's net worth? Because I do believe it would be quite extravagant. But Alex Rodriguez had a rental car broken into in San Francisco. And the thieves got away with $500,000 worth the stuff, including a camera, a laptop, jewelry, a bag. Whoa. Listen, if you broke into my car, you're going to get a phone charger, maybe a half-drink, uh, mocha latte that I don't even like coffee.
Starting point is 01:28:01 I just threw it in the back seat because it wasn't that good. You ain't getting much out of my car. Alex Rodriguez had $500,000 worth of stuff in his car. What's weird to me is that you would have that amount of stuff and not someone protecting it. Because for the low price of one security guy, they can protect all your stuff all the time. Yeah, worth it.
Starting point is 01:28:23 If you have half a million dollars in stuff, you should probably pay somebody just to watch over it. What's Alex Rodriguez worth? Roughly, 350 million. Which to me, it wasn't crazy that he had $500,000 in stuff in his car, because if you have that kind of money, I would imagine you'd probably leave
Starting point is 01:28:38 some pretty fancy stuff behind. But you don't have somebody to protect it? That's the nutty part. You can afford someone to protect it. This is the old when people would get DUIs and you would go, why are you getting a DUI? You're rich.
Starting point is 01:28:48 You're a drink. driver. And now you have Uber and you have drivers and you have Lyft and it's not a deal. But with this, when people get tons stolen from them, you're like, if you're so rich, get somebody to protect it. You can leave it in there. Just have someone stand outside the car.
Starting point is 01:29:04 What's it going to cost you? $1,000? Anyway, I saw it was stolen. You know, those people broke in that car and they were like, oh my goodness. Right. Well, lucky. It's like finding gold the bottom of the ocean floor. We found it. This is it. We found the... So, A rod had half a million dollars.
Starting point is 01:29:19 taken out of his rental car. What was the rental car? It doesn't say, I'm curious, and what Aeron rents? And does he go to Enterprise? It's got to be a compact economy, right? Yeah, can I get the Prius? Whatever's on special.
Starting point is 01:29:34 All right, the biggest songs in country music right now here are Tuesday's top three. At number three, the ones that didn't make it back home from Justin Moore. At number two, Dan and Shay, I want you all to myself And at number one Luke Combs
Starting point is 01:30:09 His second week there Beer never broke my heart Your biggest Top 40 and alternative song this week Is Billy Elish bad guy So you're a tough guy Finally What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:30:27 She moved into that spot She was behind someone for a while, aren't she? Hot 100 chart She's the longest number two behind little Nazek still there. Yeah. So many charts. Who knows right?
Starting point is 01:30:39 And your biggest hip-hop song is Lizzo Truth Hurts. Here you go. Why I'm being great. Gotta be great. That's a good one. I really feel my girl power when I do. Listen to this one. All right, there you go.
Starting point is 01:30:50 Those are your biggest songs in music. You like that one, Amy? Or do you know it yet? Yes, I like it. Yeah. Were you with me when I did the show with Lizzo? No. I was, yeah, I was there, but I didn't go to the event with you.
Starting point is 01:31:00 And did you even know Lizzo was going to be there? Yeah. Oh, you did? They brought three people to do this show. And I was like, they were like, hey, we're to bring a two artists and won't be a big deal. And I was like, okay. And so I go up and I'm doing comedy. And it was me, Dan and Shea, who I didn't even know they were showing comedy.
Starting point is 01:31:15 And I'm like, what are you guys doing here? They're like, what are you doing here? And then Lizzo. And we all three performed. And Lizzo was super cool. Wow. Yeah, Dan and Shay were big divas. No, just kidding.
Starting point is 01:31:24 They're friends. Otherwise I say that. But yeah, she was super nice. And she's like exploded recently. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. Since he was a little kid, Micah Wooten had always dreamed about being a Marine, so he enlists, goes the boot camp, goes through the 13-week boot camp,
Starting point is 01:31:45 and right as graduation's approaching, he has to go to the hospital and have an emergency surgery. So he's missing boot camp, you know, graduation, he's sad. The nurses find out about it, so when he comes out of surgery, they have the doctors, nurses all line the hallways, and they march him down and they play the Marine Corps. him so that way he's like at graduation when he comes out of surgery. That's pretty cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:09 That's good, huh? Love that. Man, hope he wasn't so drugged up that he got to experience that. Now, they said that he was smiling ear to ear. Yeah. But they didn't say it was the medicine or the graduation. Well, either one. He's a winner.
Starting point is 01:32:19 All right, that's what it's all about right there. That's a good one. That was Tell Me Something Good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. We're transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones show.
Starting point is 01:32:34 Right underneath my eye. Do you see this right here? I cut myself shaving underneath my eye. I guess I was getting a run and start. Yeah, do you have hair up there? No. Oh. It's right under my eye.
Starting point is 01:32:48 You know, why are you going so high? Mm-hmm. I didn't just nick myself as I was going down. Oh. Like I'm going in for the landing. Yeah. And they cut the crap out of me. I did a photo shoot yesterday.
Starting point is 01:32:56 Yeah. We had to keep, like, clogging it up because it was bleeding. I think it had an eye artery. Those things? Eye arteries? Probably. Ugh. I did.
Starting point is 01:33:05 You can shave right. there though it'll help with your crows feet i do well i tell you i got a bunch of messages yesterday about you and you talking about how you shave your face yeah something you've talked about on the show before but amy shaves her face like a man oh well no i i don't i don't put shaving cream on and use a man razor i use this barbersole it's called a tinkle razor and i just yeah your husband loves it thinks it's hot no he can't watch it if he sees it it's just it's yeah we're he has to walk away for a couple days. It goes inside. He's like, okay.
Starting point is 01:33:41 Yeah, inverted. I know. It's a game changer. If you're a woman and you're not shaving your face, you are missing out. I was shaving yesterday because I had a photo shoot and I was doing a bunch of promo pictures. I've been lucky enough, this magazine, which it'll come out soon enough, they're going to put me on the cover and which I was like, wow, they're like, go shoot a picture that no one else has. So it's like, all right, so we do this photo shoot and we take the pictures and I cut myself real bad and I brought my dog up to shoot some pictures with him too. And so, um, let me take this. And so at the end of the photo shoot, I'm holding it and I'm changing clothes. And it's on my Instagram. And I didn't know they were actually taking that picture,
Starting point is 01:34:19 but you can see me. And I don't have a shirt on, but you don't only see anything except like my shoulders, my arms. And I, I start to get messages. I've never gotten dirty, uh, direct messages from girls ever until I posted this picture yesterday. What do you mean by dirty? Well, look at my Instagram story. I posted one of them. The girl's like, it's all. I'm like heart eyes and then the eggplant emoji. Will they send you those? Girl, send that? Amy, I've never been so aggressively hit on on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:34:43 I didn't even feel like this picture was that good. So what was your reply to that one? I posted on my answer story. Oh. That was my reply. Wait, but didn't you have your pants unzipped or something? Well, I was changing clothes and I picked my dog up. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:34:56 Your pants are undone. Do you not remember that for? Okay. First of all. Okay. Okay. You can do your talk, but hold on. Okay.
Starting point is 01:35:04 Let me say, in defense of this picture, I literally was changing clothes and my dog ran over and I picked him up real quick. And so it wasn't like a posed picture. But it's the last picture on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, if you want to see it. I'm just now seeing this. So now I don't know. I feel weird if I like it. Is it okay if I like it? Have you not already liked it?
Starting point is 01:35:23 I just saw it for the first time. Amy, like it and send him an eggplant. No. I mean, I'm going to like it because you're my friend. Yeah. But your pants are. You think it's a hot picture? Your pants are done.
Starting point is 01:35:32 Be honest. Is it a hot picture? Yes. Yes, it's a good looking picture, but it's, it's, I could see where girls, okay. No, is it hot, yes. Is it a hot picture? I mean, it has been really hot outside lately, so. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:35:44 My gosh. Okay, you're all dolled up because you're photo shoot. Hair. Let's just be like, you look good. You don't have to be dolled out. Oh, but hair is on point. You don't ever fix your hair. And I can tell that your hair is done.
Starting point is 01:35:55 It looks really good. You're holding your dog, which is flexing your muscles. Why are you being a hater? How is that a hater? Just do like your arms look good. I'm describing the picture. And then you have your pants undone. So of course girls are losing their minds.
Starting point is 01:36:13 I think losing their minds is a little much. Let me see. Perhaps you should lose your glasses and pants more often, Bobby. It has a thousand comments. I woke up this morning and I was like, what happened? Wait, what did you say? This is your caption. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:36:27 Can't find my, I'm wondering because of a comment, someone left. I'll read that. Can't find my glasses. My pants are falling off. And my dog always looks annoyed. But what a wonderful day. And someone commented, pretty sure no one in your audience is complaining about any of those missing items. And this girl said, holy crap, I almost dropped my phone in the tub when I scrolled onto this.
Starting point is 01:36:48 This is like a... I didn't realize it was going to be the hit of Instagram. I just thought it was a good picture of like me having following my dog. No, no, this is fun. This is like a hot calendar pick. Ooh. Another girl. Make sure you call me when those pants fall all the way down.
Starting point is 01:37:02 That's written on there? What is the world? Oh my gosh. Somebody wrote, the pants are actually a huge turn on. I feel weird even saying that. What is happening? Hey, the nerd got over today, boys, you're old.
Starting point is 01:37:17 Perhaps you should lose your glasses and your pants more often. Bobby, fire emoji. You've read that one like three times. Amy, you keep going back to that one. No, nope. Did she wrote a different one? Y'all, I am not rereading them. What are you thinking of this picture?
Starting point is 01:37:29 Go ahead. I think it's a great picture. I said you should use it for your new profile picture on your dating apps. Oh, but I'm not wearing my glasses. Is that a little bit of cheating? No. My normal life, I wear glasses every second.
Starting point is 01:37:40 You'll have plenty of other pictures with glasses on there. This is a great, like, first picture, though. Oh, this one's sweet. What a catch. Brains, personality, sensitivity, and God, you look fire in this pick. All right. Oh, holy blank, the open pants had me like, whoa, forget about the dog. You can check it out.
Starting point is 01:38:01 Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram. See what I'm saying? Like, I got, you can get this 405 number on. They say it's definitely a tool pick. Really? Who said that? I don't know. I try to get haters on all the time.
Starting point is 01:38:13 You got the one hater. But they run, but no, I just, I just looked at my screen. And people will not be on the show. They only want to text anonymously. Oh, right. They get brave behind that screen. So I'll put this 405 number on that's texting. Anyway, Mr. Ma, I wouldn't even do a whole four minute segment on it.
Starting point is 01:38:30 I just wondered what you thought about it. Amy's still looking at her phone, not even paying attention to the show. You started the pants undone? No, I'm reading comment. Let's go over to Dalton in St. Louis. Dalton, you're on the Bobby Bone show. What's up, bud? Hey, how's it going?
Starting point is 01:38:45 Morning studio. Morning! So I listen to you guys every day driving to work. I've been listening since high school. I just graduated college. And so when I get into work, I'll turn on I-heart radio and listen to the rest of the show. But recently my boss came in and told me that having music and podcast, have someone is a distraction and I can't listen anymore.
Starting point is 01:39:05 So now my work day is way, way more boring. I don't know what to do with myself. Well, when are you going to quit, do you think? Probably not anytime soon because it's my first job out of college and it's a pretty good company, but it is a huge bummer. I'll talk to your boss. Can you transfer me? I'm sitting outside of work right now.
Starting point is 01:39:24 I don't really want to be like, hey, boss, so I've got someone for you. Well, what do you do? Option one, quit your job. They'll let you listen. Option two, I'll talk to your boss. Otherwise, I don't know what I can do for you, Dalton. I just want to let you guys know how much I love the show. Appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:39:40 The work day is definitely more boring. Well, how about this? I know you can't do it at work, but you can always listen to the podcast whenever you go home or you drive. You just search Bobby Bone Show on demand, and you can check the show out right there. We do a post-show pre-show on pretty much every show, which is extended versions of what you didn't get to here live. All right. I appreciate that, though. Eddie and are coming to St. Louis.
Starting point is 01:40:02 The show sold out, but we're coming to St. Louis. you're raging idiots in a few weeks. Yeah, my wife texted me like a couple months ago when we found out you guys were coming, and we strongly considered it, but the tickets were already crazy expensive. Well, look closer to the show date. They'll be real. And listen, if anybody's going to the secondary sites, don't spend $200 on a ticket. That's where they get really expensive.
Starting point is 01:40:24 Yeah, it's not us doing that. People buy them and then resell them. But how about this? Oh, here we go. We got a hater on. McKenna from Oklahoma texted about me, being a tool on the picture on Instagram. McKenna, I'm so happy that...
Starting point is 01:40:38 I'm just happy you answered the call. No, I'm so sorry. I didn't need it to be, like, rude. I didn't really be bad. I felt so bad. Why? You said that was a tool picture. No, I didn't mean it to be like,
Starting point is 01:40:52 oh, it's a bad, like, tool pick. It's just not, like, it's not something you post normally. So, I didn't, like, I didn't mean her to be rude or bad or to be a hater. But you said tool. But you said tool pick. Like how was a tool pick? Maybe tool means something different to her. Let her.
Starting point is 01:41:08 My pants weren't done. You need a picture. Like when a guy posts like for me, like when a guy posts like a tool picture, it's just like an attractive picture. I did nothing bad by it. I felt so terrible. No, don't feel terrible. I was happy you came on.
Starting point is 01:41:25 I was kind of hoping you were going to rip into me a little bit because I also was like, should I post this? I didn't think, I'm just smiling and I have my dog. I didn't think it was a tool picture as you seem to think it was. So what did you mean by tool picture, though? Like, is she breaking up in you guys' ears? It's what? It's the pants.
Starting point is 01:41:45 You know, it wasn't on purpose. I know. I heard that. But I also could have cropped it, and I didn't. If I'm being totally honest, I could have cropped it out, but I didn't. So just transparent there. Gotcha. But no, I didn't mean anything bad by it.
Starting point is 01:41:58 I'm so sorry. Okay, well, but do you, like, so the definition of tool. Go ahead. Read it to me. Is a guy with a hugely overinflated. ego who in an attempt to get attention for himself acts like that or post pictures. No, what's the real definition? It says acts like.
Starting point is 01:42:15 Amy goes in province. No, no, no, no, because I can't say the word. It says, we'll act like a donkey. I don't think I'm acting like a donkey there. No, no, and that's not what I meant at all. It's just like, you know, it's a different picture for you to post. So he was thirsty. It's not your normal picture.
Starting point is 01:42:35 I didn't feel like that was the thirsty picture. I'm trying to ask her. I don't think it's thirsty. I'm asking her. I honestly just thought, wow, what a fun picture of me and my dog. And I'm smiling. And the end. And your pants are undone.
Starting point is 01:42:45 I know. I know they sure are. Well, listen, McKenna, I commend you for coming on the show after telling me I'm a tool. Like that, I like that. No, I didn't have anything bad by it. I'm so sorry. Well, if anything. You know, to be sorry.
Starting point is 01:42:58 We actually like it. No, she's losing why we wanted her on. What? But I think this is a perfect example of how things can get lost in translation on comments. and emails and text, like behind the screen, people might be typing all kinds of things that we interpret as rude and mean and really, she's so sweet.
Starting point is 01:43:14 But there's no other interpretation for tools. I know, that's why I thought she might be confused on the definition. My dog is actually showing his wiener in the picture. Right. Maybe that's what the eggplant is for. Yeah. You see my dog's weiner.
Starting point is 01:43:27 That's what everyone's talking about. McKenna, thank you for listening to the show. I appreciate that. Yeah, of course. I listen every morning. I love it. All right. Have a good day. Yeah, you too.
Starting point is 01:43:38 All right, bye, bye. Let me go over and talk to John in Florida. John, you're on the Bobby Bone show. What's up, bud? Hey, Bobby. Hey, studio. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 01:43:47 No, yeah, no, morning studio. We don't respond to that one. I know. We were just going to ice them. We were going to ice them. Go ahead, John. So I was just calling to say, I appreciate the positive vibes you put out. And, you know, I love listening to the show.
Starting point is 01:44:00 I found you like probably like a year ago. And I love it. Follow your Instagram, watch you on Idol. And I just wanted to say I'm really happy to I was able to get the follow up on the whole Alexa thing yesterday because I don't usually get the follow up for a funny story like that. Well, Amy did post a picture too of the girl that she hired to come and be Alexa at her son's birthday party. And it looked kind of awkward. But it was kind of awkward. Did you watch the video where he thanked her and gave her a big old hug?
Starting point is 01:44:29 I watched it with you. Oh, yeah. Well, so people have that. That part wasn't awkward. No, I thought the whole thing was awesome. I loved it. Me too. loved it. It was a little awkward, but I loved it.

I felt that. Someone said, who took the picture on your Instagram? The photographer that was at the photo shoot.
Starting point is 01:45:07 You got her with that one? We were doing a photo shoot. And my dog was there to... The Pataga Per took the picture while he was there. What is that? Some people on Twitter like emphasize it. Oh, it's the clap. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:21 It's like all caps. You know who took it? The photographer took it. All right. I thought my pants were buttoned. I think you knew your pants were now. I know. Listen, I honestly could have cropped it and I didn't.
Starting point is 01:45:35 And I even wrote it, though. I wasn't trying to be like... It does look like a professional. But I wrote, my pants are... But like if there was a... Let's play Luke Combs. Doggy calendar with their owner. Yeah, thank you.

This just was never going to be a good idea.
Starting point is 01:49:31 The story is from a town called Anaconda, Montana. So the town's named after the snake. So don't let that be confused. That has nothing to do with the snake. Oh. Okay. Anaconda parents say children were hurt and one girl went to the ER when a crowd rushed for money
Starting point is 01:49:45 dropped by a helicopter at a cash giveaway event. Never was that going to be a good idea to drop money from a helicopter and expect people not to go nuts. On Friday, August 9th, the Anaconda Day's event at a local grocery store include a giveaways of candy and real cash won, $5, and $10 bills.
Starting point is 01:50:03 But this is, year they brought a helicopter to throw out cash for the kids. They're like, okay, we're going to fly up, check it out. But the event went nuts, obviously, as adults were watching the money come down and going, oh, we got to get in on this, and they trampled the kids. Photos and videos posted the social media show kids with bruises and scrapes. Well, they never had a chance. If you're seven, and I have the video up here, if you're seven and they're dropping money, you don't think 40-year-olds are going to be like, peace out, kid, see you on the flip side. I mean, they're going, it's like an Easter egg hunt, but the adults go, this is my Easter egg hunt.
Starting point is 01:50:38 It's wild. So the Anaconda days did not go well. I'm pretty excited about this. They announced yesterday the ACM honors participants, which is a big deal. And like Keith Urban, Chris Jansen, Barbara Mandrell, Tenil Towns, Tricia Yearwood, they're all going to be there in play. But they also announced the second half of the people, which is Lauren Elena, myself, Kaylee Hammock, Miranda, Miranda's going to play. It's a big deal. can come, and you're in Nashville.
Starting point is 01:51:04 It's a fantastic show. I would love for you to try to come, but the rhyme him. But the coolest thing is that Billy Joe Shaver is going to be there. Oh! That's your dude. Like, I'm such a big fan of Billy Joe Shaver. Raymond Doe, play me a little Billy Joe Schaver, please. And so I got to be the guy to go up and
Starting point is 01:51:21 be like, oh, can I get a picture? And do you call him Mr. Schaever? I don't know. Mr. Billy Joe? I don't know. Sir. Sir? Yeah. Because I'm going to live for a Forever. I'm going to sing a song. I always like to go to people and sing their song to them. They always think that's fun. Yeah, they like that.
Starting point is 01:51:39 So the ACM honors is dedicated to recognizing the special honorees in the off-camera winners from the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards. Brooks and Dunn, Casey Musgraves, Rodney Crowell, Billy Joe Shaver. It's going to be a cool event there. That's awesome. Yeah. Do we have that song? I'm going to live forever. I'm going to cross that river. I'm going to. Hit me with that, Ramundo.
Starting point is 01:52:03 You're close. There you go. This is such a jam. It is such a jam, right? I turn it up a little bit. Let's listen for a second. I'm going to live forever. Lost that river.
Starting point is 01:52:18 I'm going to catch tomorrow now. I'm going to hold me. Just like I always told you. Like the songs I leave. So if you're not familiar with Billy Joe Schaver, he's from Texas. He lost three fingers in a sawmill accident. Okay, that's what I was going to tell you. Before he ever wrote a song.
Starting point is 01:53:04 And so he was working the sawmill right off, and he grabbed him and just went to the doctor with him. Yeah. And was like, what up? And so he came to Nashville, and he's known for the hard luck songs about real life. He met Waylon Jennings in the back of a peanut trailer that led to the Outlaw album. And so, you know, it was Waylon Jennings songs written by Billy Joe Shaver. So cool. So it's crazy.
Starting point is 01:53:30 He's such a big part of country music. Maybe some people that just know. you know, Nashville newish music, don't know how influential he was to the people that influenced all those people. So you want to know the crazy story, Bill Jocethaver, the shooting story? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good one.
Starting point is 01:53:46 And so Billy Jo Schaver shot a man in Waco. He's like, let's go outside. And again, I've heard 97 stories about this, right? He goes, let's go outside. And so they went outside. some people say there was a people have a lot of accounts about this but Bill just you ever shot the guy
Starting point is 01:54:08 and the guy he'd die I think he'd die yeah right so then he goes to then Waco has a big trial Willie Nelson shows up to
Starting point is 01:54:19 oh yeah and then a song was written about it and they used that song in the trial against him yeah I feel like y'all played me this song we did we talked about this whole thing yeah yeah yeah so Anyway, so bones, when you do meet him, those fingers are on his right hand, so it's really weird when you shake his hand.
Starting point is 01:54:40 Just be ready for that. Have you shake? I have. Oh, yeah. I've had lunch with him. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. Back in the day, I was in-stitching her sandwiches?
Starting point is 01:54:46 We went to a diner in Waco. We were interviewing him, and we did the interview and just sat and had lunch, and, man, he has the best stories ever. Yeah. So if I see him, I'm going to have to geek out. And I don't geek out of my heart, but I don't go out and geek out. Like, hey, get a good picture? I have to do that. Yeah, Dale Watson wrote a song titled Where Do You Want It About, Where do you want to shoot you?
Starting point is 01:55:07 Where do you want to? Oh, yeah. Love that. There you go. Let me talk to Holly in Nashville. Holly, you're on the Bobby Bone Show. What's happening, Holly? Oh, no, nothing. I was just calling to update you guys on how the interview went yesterday. You know, I was thinking about you yesterday, Holly, because you called, you went to interview for a teaching job, right?
Starting point is 01:55:29 Yep. I didn't feel like I gave the most sound advice yesterday. I was thinking about that. It gave great advice. Going to the next round. Oh, you got through to the next round? Yes. Now it's in-person meet.
Starting point is 01:55:41 Yesterday was on the phone. I didn't correct you, and I didn't realize until after we got off the phone. But yeah, yesterday was a phone interview. And then today, or not today, but tomorrow is going to be the meet and greet. And I have to do a lesson plan for science. I was actually going to ask you guys, do you remember your favorite science lesson? I like dinosaurs. dinosaurs were fun to me
Starting point is 01:56:03 because dinosaurs feel fun. It's almost like you're learning about animals, but... What grade is she? Who cares? Dinosaurus rocks. They're great. Can you do dinosaurs for third grade?
Starting point is 01:56:16 Oh, I think that's about the right age. I think that dinosaurs... What about you? Maybe some sort of like where you get to build that volcano and watch it explode with baking soda or something? That's cool.
Starting point is 01:56:30 Yeah, that's... That's a good one. I was thinking of extinction of dinosaurs. I'm sorry, not extinction of dinosaurs, but extinction of animals in general and about how our buildings are stopping the habitat for birds and different animals like that. We don't want them to go extinct. I find birds be pretty boring. I'll be honest with you.
Starting point is 01:56:53 Okay. I'm more of a stegosaurus guy, you know. Okay. I think it's awesome that you got through the next round. In person, you're ready for a big tip on? Any interview, any meeting for the first time. Here's the biggest, greatest thing that you can know whenever you meet with someone. Okay.
Starting point is 01:57:10 Smile. And it's so simple. It's so simple. But you become so focused that you're not smiling. Yeah. Smiling. If the whole key to, I'm clapping for emphasis now all the time. The whole key to get in people to like you is to be likable.
Starting point is 01:57:27 If they like you, the world is your oyster. Likeable people will get jobs. jobs, likeable people get dates, likeable people get raises. People like to work with people they like. Why do you think this show is what it is? I like these people. We just sit around and smile all the time. They had never been on the radio before, but I was like, they make me better. Let's bring everybody in. If you're likable, you have a better shot. So I'll leave you with some sound advice today because I didn't feel like I nailed it yesterday, but go in, in person. Anybody listening right now, first interview, first business meeting. If you're likable, it almost doesn't matter how good
Starting point is 01:58:01 are. There are a lot of good people at what you do. There's a million great teachers. But teachers that people want to be around, that's a whole different story. So that's my advice for today. Go be likable. You obviously are passionate about your work. And that's what I met yesterday. Meaning if it didn't go well yesterday, there is a little bit of freedom in knowing that you're going to go and do another interview in another interview until you get it until eventually you're going to get it. So there's a little bit of freedom and knowing that I'm just going to keep doing it until I do it until someone hires me. So, go do it.
Starting point is 01:58:33 It's today, right? Tomorrow. It's tomorrow for the interview, for the in-person interview. Then you let us know near the end of the week how it goes, and just be likable. I will be likable. All right. And you guys make me smile, too. I just want you to know that, all of you.
Starting point is 01:58:47 That's why I put you on, because we like you. We want to be around you. That's right. Well, thank you. All right, Kailen, have a great day. You'll have a great day, and it's Holly. What does she say? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:58:56 Holly? I said it's Holly. Holly. Oh, Holly. What'd you say, Marley? No, I have another call. Okay, I'm looking at the wrong school. That's good, though.
Starting point is 01:59:04 I like this. She whispered it to you. She whispered it to you. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. All right, let me put Caitlin on then real quick. Here's Caitlin in Virginia. Hey, Caitlin.
Starting point is 01:59:16 Hey. What's happening? Nothing much. Just going home. I appreciate you. Calling. What do you want to say? I just wanted to say that I love you guys, and I never miss a show.
Starting point is 01:59:27 and I've been listening to you since I got my very first car. And how long ago was that? Like eight years ago. Okay, we can take that. It's pretty good. We think that. Thank you very much. Appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:59:39 Where do you live in Virginia? Chest Pete. Oh, as we call it on the show, Chess a freak! All right. Thank you, Caitlin. Me too. All right.
Starting point is 01:59:48 Have a good day. Thank you, you guys, too. Bye, bye. Bye, bye. I guess today is National Left Handers Day. Which for me, finally, my day. Am I the only left-handed one on the entire show? I believe so.
Starting point is 02:00:06 I'm amidextrous. No, you're not. You're not. You're not. What hand do you're right with? My right, but I think is I was forced to. Okay. You can't go around yelling I'm amidextrous if you're not ammodextrous.
Starting point is 02:00:17 But in sports, I am. Yes, golf and softball. But someone just a switch hitter and baseball is not ambidextrious. Okay, athletically ambidextrous. Fine, I'm right-handed. You're the only left hand. in here. Lunchbox? I'm right-handed strongly. Eddie? Right-handed.
Starting point is 02:00:33 Morgan number two? Right-handed. Raymondo? Yeah, I'm right, hard-right. What does that even mean? I don't know. And Amy's not emodextrous, I guess. Amidextrous is like super advanced. Amy, write your name left-handed right now. Oh, yeah. No, no, but it's because I was forced. My handwriting is weak with my left hand, although I think it could have been better. But that's the past. You've got to let that go.
Starting point is 02:00:56 Well, I know, but if I step up to a batting place, You can bet, I'm a bat. A batting plate? Home flight. Morgan number two, do you have these facts about National Left Handers Day? Yeah, let me pull it up. All right, today's National Left Handers Day, August 13th. Finally a day for, there's a holiday for everything.
Starting point is 02:01:13 Everything. Every day is a holiday, but I'll take this one. All right, go ahead. Give me a fact about left-handers. Those who are left-handed are more prone to ailments like allergies and migraines. Oh, boy, I do get allergy AF, you know what I mean? Yeah, you do. Migraine's not so bad.
Starting point is 02:01:28 I don't want to jinx myself. But allergies I do Every day I take like 94 allergy pills Snort, snort, pill, pill, Under the Tug, tongue, sublingual And that's just when I wake up What else Morgan number two? Approximately 12% of the world population is left-handed
Starting point is 02:01:44 Oh, about 10% of us What about amidextrous over there? Oh, ambidextrace Amy. What else? Most of those who are left-handed are insomniacs That's pretty accurate, huh? Although I've been sleeping better because I'm taking probiotics.
Starting point is 02:01:57 don't know if that's a thing or not could be but that gut health is very important give me another one lefties are highly smart and some of the most famous inventors like Isaac Newton and Benjamin Franklin
Starting point is 02:02:12 wow I think that's an unfair thing to say because there were a million right-handed inventors too yeah found two people Edison they're like left-handed people they're so smart because they use the right brain that's like going you got a face for radio
Starting point is 02:02:24 thaw some stupid people say But aren't they, aren't you more creative and smart? Than you? Yep. What have you invented, bones? Quick-litted, too. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 02:02:36 Oh, what have I invented? Yeah. A lot of fun sayings. Like, bite and grind repeat. Okay, you did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What else Morgan number two? And lefties have proved to be good fighters, like boxing fighters.
Starting point is 02:02:48 Well, that's just not true. That is true. I'll whoop your butt. You want some of this? How many times I got beat you up for you to stop talking crap? You have not beat me up yet. We would be a charity boxing match. Oh, that'd be fun.
Starting point is 02:03:00 Give me a year to train, though. A year? Stop it. Okay, anything else, Morgan, I'm too, about left-handers? No, that's all I got right now. Nothing like kind, big heart. No, no, don't come at me now. These are facts about you.
Starting point is 02:03:16 Don't come at me now. Generous, giving. Try to steal my thunder. Empathetic. Stop it. Stop it. Olive Garden is selling the pasta pass again. Is this tomorrow?
Starting point is 02:03:27 what's happening lunchbox? I believe it's Wednesday or Thursday. You don't know? Wow. You've gotten this almost every year. Yeah. And if you are one of the first, I think, 50 people to get a year pass, you can get the lifetime pass. So the never-ending pasta pass is $100 and you get unlimited pasta salad and breadsticks for nine weeks. And over the past five years, how many years have you gotten, you bought it? Four. And so if you're one of the first 50 people at this $100 mark, you can pay $500 and get the unlimited pasta pass for the rest of your life. Oh my goodness. Yeah, I'm trying to get in on this. That would be amazing. Yes, this is so awesome. I think it's tomorrow. No, it's Thursday. Yeah, I thought so. Thursday at 2 p.m. Eastern. Yeah. The never-ending pasta pass goes on sale. There are 2,400 of them available. No, sorry,
Starting point is 02:04:15 24, $24,000 at $100, but 50 of them for the lifetime one. I'm trying to get on a lifetime one. Yeah. Well, who is it? I mean, you got to have fast. Fass fingers. I don't know how quick your internet is at home, but I'm calling my company today and I'm getting upgraded. For just the posthapage. Yep. Wow. Because you got to be there right, I mean, just you have to take a chance and hit it about 30 seconds early and see if it goes through because it's going to be chaos on the internet. All of Garden is going to be shut down. Well, it'll be interesting. I've never sat online and tried to get this, but I'm going to. A partier at a nightclub swings on the water pipes and makes it rain, literally. An unknown guy at a popular nightclub was one of her questioning
Starting point is 02:04:59 after raining on everyone's fun. Thank you. The man decided to swing on some water pipes at Fat Controller, that's the name of the place. And when he did, it was up in the roof, it busted and rained on everyone. I bet everyone loved that.
Starting point is 02:05:12 They're like, yeah. Until it didn't stop. The whole incident was caught on security cameras, including the guy after he broke it, casually walked away. He's like, uh-oh. Nothing to see here. Nothing to see here.
Starting point is 02:05:24 Mike, do you put these clips up and I haven't heard this Yeah, but this Fortnite guy, the championing kid? So he's on, he's streaming His playing Fortnite So everybody's watching him And while he's streaming He gets swatted
Starting point is 02:05:39 Someone calls and goes Hey, we need a SWAT team And apparently they swatted him While he was streaming That's where someone pranks By calling a SWAT team into a house Oh So here's the clip one
Starting point is 02:05:48 His name's Booga He finds out that while he's streaming The SWAT team is outside of his house Dad, I actually can't Alright, we're not gonna have the map the whole plate. You get to drop me. Hey. Stuff's coming with you.
Starting point is 02:05:59 I got swatted. Can you start? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, and he comes back to the stream after 30 minutes talking to the SWAT team. Yeah, I got, yeah, I got swatted. No way. No, yeah. I was lucky because the one, the one officer, he, uh, recognized you.
Starting point is 02:06:16 Yeah, he was in our neighborhood. Yeah, dude, like, the guy comes in, like, I noticed him and he's just like, yeah, dude, they come in with guns, bro. like they literally pulled up. That's a 16 year old who won that $3 million playing Fortnite. What it is, it's a prank where you go, hey, we have an emergency in this house, and they send a SWAT team to your house, and they bust in the door. That's a terrible prank. Yeah, someone said that
Starting point is 02:06:35 he killed his dad is what it was. Oh my goodness. So they swatted him in. Wow. And they believe it came from Europe. Obviously. Well, there was a guy in California that just got sentenced to 20 years in prison for doing it. They swat people. Yeah. I've never heard of that.
Starting point is 02:06:51 Oh, it was a whole thing. They did a whole special on it once. or people were getting hurt and some people were getting shot because it's a prank where they go, oh, there's emergency. Come in the house and SWAT teams bust in the house. Who knows what they're going to do? Yeah. What they're going to see? Because people aren't expecting it.
