Hey, guys, welcome to Friday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
We have two major guests coming by.
Dustin Lynch is going to come by and play.
He'll do some of his hits.
a new duet is going to do today.
New artist Tierra will be in.
So, big show for music here in studio.
We'll also do the dance parties.
I was reading about most popular dogs, like breeds of dogs.
What do you think the winner is?
Lab.
I think it's always a Labradoodle.
Or no, Labrador.
It is a, number one is a lab, but for the first time, someone is really getting close to it.
Oh, who?
At number two are the Lady Gaga dogs.
Oh, the Bulldogs.
Rich Bulldogs.
French Bulldogs.
German Shepherds are three, golden retrievers are four, and Bulldogs, like mine.
Five.
What is yours?
Mine's a Laberdoodle.
And what's that mix?
So it's a lab and a poodle.
Which, how did that happen?
So I'm like half-part.
And that must have hurt the poodle.
No, y'all, labs and poodle.
I don't know how they do it.
But they're the same size.
Labs and poodles?
No, they're not.
No, poodles are big.
No, most poodles aren't.
Most poodles are like little.
No, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no, poodles.
They got a little hair in their paws.
Okay, well, I promise you, if it was a full-grown lab,
then they used a big poodle.
Like, there's no way they were like.
I don't know, Amy.
Okay.
I picture in my head, which I wish I wouldn't,
a full-grown lab and a tiny poodle.
And what's next?
The lab chihuahua?
No.
They can't do that.
Labwawa?
Labwawa.
That would be terrible.
No, they would probably do a chadoodle.
A chid.
People breed with the poodle
because they don't shed.
So then it makes some hypoallergenic.
So that's awesome.
A toy poodle is extremely small.
A miniature poodle.
poodle is really small. A standard poodle is small, but a medium poodle is pretty normal.
Oh, okay. Well, I'm sure they went with the medium.
Let me ask you guys a question. I got an email yesterday because, you know, we had the frontman
of country on. If you love 90s country, this was a segment for you because it was for me.
It's the lead singer of Lone Star. It's the lead singer of Little Texas. And it's the lead singer
of Restless Heart. And they came in, they played, they did their big hits. And then they sent
me a message yesterday. And they're like, hey, if you want us to play a wedding reception,
we'll show up and play a few songs.
Oh my gosh, dude.
Amazed?
Can you imagine amazed at your wedding?
Yeah, I say you do it.
It's the biggest love song ever.
Is that your question?
Do you do it?
Yes.
I never like to take advantage of this stuff.
I mean, this is a once in a lifetime.
It's 90s.
Hey, Scuba, I saw the email.
We didn't pursue this in any way, right?
No, not at all.
They took it upon themselves and emailed us saying that they want to do it.
I feel like that they're fans of the show because, was it Richie?
It talks about how his wife listens to the show frequently.
So I think they really want to do it.
When she cries.
I would do it.
At night.
Come on, dude.
Like, I get it.
I feel weird taking something for free, though.
I understand.
But if they offer it, though, I feel like it's okay.
If you pursued it, it would be weird, and you wouldn't do that.
But if they're doing it and they say they want to do it, I say, I've had it.
Yeah.
That would be a gift, my friend.
That's a wedding gift.
They would show up at the reception.
Like, for example, like Jake, Owen.
great friend of mine.
We text or talk a few times a week.
And he got my save the date.
And I'm just going to reply back.
Don't worry about a gift.
Just play song at the reception.
I can do that, right?
Perfect.
Because I'm a friend.
But I just feel guilty if these guys are like slugging their equipment across town.
Well, they slugged it in here.
It's two guitars and a piano.
Okay, I'm leaning toward yes.
Tell you what.
Me and the groomsmen will pick up all their gear and set it up for them.
They carry it in? Yes.
Okay.
I'm leaning toward yes.
but I thought that was very nice of them.
It's awesome.
That would be cool.
Full-blown, God-Bless Texas?
Woo!
That would be cool.
Like, who gets that?
Take advantage of that for those that don't get that.
That's true.
Let's open up the mailbag.
Bobby's Mailbag.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
My husband started taking a spin class about a month ago.
He did it because his doctor told him he needed to exercise more,
but I recently discovered he chose the spin class
so we can look at all the attractive women in the.
the class.
He goes early in the morning.
He gets a bike in the back.
So he gets a good view of when they stand.
No.
When they stand to pedal.
He didn't deny it.
Even when I asked him about the workout aspect,
and he said, hey, I'm there for that too.
My question is, if a guy goes out of his way to look at other women in a class or some
other setting, is that cheating?
Is it okay to look but not touch?
Thank you, Anonymous.
Well, first of all, it is not cheating.
Not.
It's in no way as looking cheating.
The only reason that looking gets you in trouble is if you get caught.
Everybody's going to look.
If you see a cute guy, hot dude, you're going to look for a second.
You will.
I mean, so I would be able to look at my husband.
Because, well, I'm picturing this guy in the back of class.
It's very different than walking by a good looking person that you think is cute.
Just follow my lead here.
But also, yes.
I would be able to say, oh, it's my husband.
Like, that guy's, that guy's good looking.
So, and then he might be like, I can't tell.
If you saw a really great-looking construction worker
and he slowly rips his shirt off.
Where are you?
Hot day.
And he's drinking some of the water, but he also pours it down his stomach.
Perfect.
Like, you were going to watch him do that.
And be like, dang, that guy's hot.
Dang, okay.
If you're right there.
Okay, if I'm right there.
But I didn't go out of my way to see it.
I didn't go out of my way.
I don't know why you're walking by construction sites in the middle of the day.
My point is looking is not cheating.
You're going to look if it's there.
I think if that's what gets him into this class.
What?
Hold on.
I think if that's what inspires him to get in shape because the doctor said so, then let him go.
It might inspire some other things, too.
I don't think it inspires cheating.
Okay.
So you're telling me, you come home and you tell Caitlin that you now are going to a spin class and you sit in the back.
because you loved it.
Yeah, how did he even admit to this?
I just wouldn't admit to it.
Right.
Like this guy,
okay, but he did.
So what I'm saying is that it's, it's fine.
Kail isn't going to be like, oh, sweet, yes, go to that class every day.
Love it.
Come home, tell me all about it.
I don't expect her to say that.
Nor would I say that to her.
I wouldn't be like, oh, look at all the butts in here.
I just wouldn't.
Yeah, but I also don't see you as a guy that would go do that and get a seat in the back and, like, purposefully.
He's not too good for that.
Yes, I am.
I think he is. Eddie, you're not.
Eddie, Eddie, you're, Eddie's like, I wear sunglasses so nobody can tell.
I walk behind my wife.
So, you know, I just think that that's the part I have a problem with because I would be like,
well, do you want me to come with you and I'll sit right in front of you?
How are we not acknowledging his honesty with his wife?
I think it's great.
Because if he's honest here, he's going to be honest in other situations too.
But part of me is like, ew, like you're that guy right?
right now. Okay. If he's that guy, still not cheating. Looking isn't cheating. Going to a workout
class. If that's what gets you there and your doctor says you need to get there to live
along or life, have no problem with you. Look, it's creepy. I admit it's creepy to say that.
It is. It's creepy to talk about it. And, but I get it like looking, but then there's looking
and then there's disrespectful looking. Well, I'm on team creepy buttlicker. Okay. I'm,
I'm on team wife here. But, but there's no team. She has a question. Is it cheating?
It's not cheating, but we still don't like it.
So would you have rather him just not said that's why he was going?
Well, I'd rather him not be a creepo that goes to a spin class and gets a bike in the back and stares at women.
Well, you would rather that.
Yes, I agree.
We'd all rather that.
But you have two options.
Well, doesn't she have the option to also talk to him and be like, hey, can we figure out a different workout?
And if I were him, I would be like, I'll do no more steering.
Yeah.
Okay, here's the compromise.
He's in the front.
He sits in the front.
Problem solved.
And he only goes to all male classes.
He sits on the front and turns his bike around.
Sir?
To end this email, we're going to say...
The man ride.
It is not cheating.
It does feel a bit creepy,
but there's also some good in his honesty.
So I think he wins two out of three,
therefore he's okay.
I feel like now it needs to be like a mandatory thing.
If you're a man at a class,
you get on the front row.
Yeah.
I agree with you.
I agree with you.
I agree with you.
it does feel creepy. No part of me said, but I also admire his honesty and I think he needs to get to the gym.
And if that's what gets him there, great. Go look at a butter too.
Oh, I don't like the sound of that.
Okay.
All right, thank you for your email. You can email us anytime. Your questions. Morgan, what's the email address?
Mailbag at bobbybones.com.
All right, close it up.
And that was Bobby's Mailbag.
Fun fact Friday.
Amis got the most fun facts of the week.
Let's go.
Number five.
In Europe, Cool Ranch Doritos are called Cool American Doritos.
I even looked up the packaging and shirn up on the bag.
It says, Cool American.
Is Ranch totally American?
I guess so.
Like, that's a fully American thing?
Man, we rock.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thank God for us.
Number four.
So the guy that founded Myspace, Tom Anderson,
he was subject to one of the largest FBI raids in California history
after hacking into a Chase Bank computer system,
and then he got in trouble for showing his friends how to do it,
but he wasn't arrested because he was only 14 at the time.
Wow.
For those who don't know MySpace, back in the day,
that was the very first social media, at least that we used,
and he was your first friend.
He had like a white t-shirt and giving you the thumbs up, right?
Yeah, like a chalkboard behind him or something.
Yeah.
But the big controversy back then was who were in your top eight friends,
because your top friends were shown on the front of the page.
It was like, I'm going to move you to my top eight.
That's a big deal.
And you could decorate your page, but then it was all virus-filled.
That's pretty good.
Number three.
So if a major league baseball player catches a ball with their hat,
the batter automatically gets a triple and anyone else already on base gets to score.
That's not true.
Is this true?
Where did you see this rule?
That's why I wanted y'all to confirm it, especially the guys with the sports show.
I don't think that's true.
I don't think it's true.
Read where you read that.
The onion?
That's a big joke.
Why would, yeah, I thought y'all would know this and you'd be like, oh yeah, yeah, you can't catch a ball with your hat.
You can't catch it with anything other than your glove.
What about your bare hand?
Or your hand.
Okay, but you can't catch it with your hat.
I didn't know that, okay, here we go.
It's to keep people from doing it because they may want to show off, I think, and get their hat and catch it.
But it's like, okay, look, if you show off like that, then batter automatically gets triple.
I'm going to trust you.
Do you have the rule?
No, no, no, I have a bunch of stuff.
I don't see it. I'm going to trust you. I feel like I'm extremely knowledgeable in baseball and baseball
rules, but I don't know that rule. I tend to triple check my facts. Okay. Ray, what do you think?
Never heard that before. That's crazy. I love bringing y'all new information. I just thought
what's right. Try to, yeah, surprise us with a sports fact every day next week. Every day? Okay.
Can you do that? Sure. And we'll tell you if we're surprised or not. Oh, okay. That's the thing.
Because I'm like, I don't know if it'll surprise you. Like you bring in and find a surprising sports fact and
tell us. Okay. And then we'll be like, oh, that's a prize.
Like this one. This was good. That was a good one.
All right. All right. Next up. Number two. So M&Ms had a chance to be the candy featured in
ET, but they turned it down. Rees's Pieces jumped at the chance and they saw a 65% jump in profits.
I even remember. Reesies. I mean, I bought them just because I saw the movie.
Yeah, exactly. I remember that. You were part of that 65%.
Number one. So the American flag that Neil Armstrong planted on the moon,
1969 was knocked over by the engine blast as soon as they lifted off to leave.
Oh, that's not fun?
No, it's not fun.
But five more U.S. flags have been planted on the moon since then, and NASA believes all
of them are still standing.
The only problem is the flags are now completely white from getting bleached by the sun.
Can you imagine that video?
The flag, that's all right, America rolls.
And it just falls over.
They crank.
No, no, no, no.
Depressing.
Do you think for a minute, can we go back?
You know what?
Other thing lost color that was crazy to me?
Alan Jackson's jeans from Chattahoochee video.
No.
The blue jeans?
Yeah.
If you go and you look at them in the country music Hall of Fame, they're not the same color.
They've been completely washed out.
They're like, here lies Alan Jackson's jeans.
And it's got the cuts in the knees and everything.
But they're like almost white because of sun.
And obviously when he's wet and that shot, your pants are darker.
Oh, yeah.
Good call.
So, they had a little extra fun fact for you.
All right, there it is.
Fun fact Friday.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.

It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
20-year-old Edgar McGregor is a climate activist.
He likes to go hiking in the Eaton Canyon out in California, and he goes one day.
And he's like, man, there sure is a lot of trash.
So he said, you know what, I'm going to spend the next 20 days.
I'm going to clean up all this trash.
Well, there was so much trash.
It took him 589 straight days of going.
out there and picking up trash.
And on March 5th, he said he got the last
piece of trash. Dang, almost two years.
500 days, right?
589 days of picking up trash.
And he said, it's beautiful to see the animals come back
after all the trash is gone.
That's cool. Amy, how many days is two years?
365 times two.
Go ahead.
Shoot. Okay, so fine, that's five.
Okay, hold on. There's a better way to do this.
65 plus six. This is going to take me.
You got it. We'll wait for you.
Okay.
Now I'm nervous.
Okay, well, I would do the 300 plus 300 is easy.
That's 600.
But then you're going to add.
So you're a 600 right now.
Go ahead.
Yeah.
So then I would add 65 plus 65.
And what I would do is take 50 and 50 in there would make another 100.
So I'm at 700.
So then I got leftover from there.
I got 30 left over.
Right?
So why are you looking at me weird?
Because I think it's 730.
But why are you looking at me weird?
Is your final answer, 700,
I'm going to finalize my math.
I'm going to finalize my math.
365.
$350 plus $50.
Now you're confusing me.
Yes, that's my final answer.
Her final answer is $730.
Is that wrong?
Wait, hold on.
That's right.
That's right.
It is $730.
Yeah.
See, like standardized test just took me longer.
I'll get there.
Yeah.
But I was never given the proper amount of time.
That's why I didn't do very well on those.
Yeah.
He did good, though.
He did good too. Picking up trash.
How would you have added that up?
I just went 365 plus 365, 730. I don't know.
Just like that.
Yeah.
I mean, I thought Amy made it so much more complicated.
Raymond was pretty quick with math.
Oh, yeah. I won awards back in the day, math around the world.
It's just, I don't know how to teach it.
I was really good at board races.
Like, no one could be me at board races.
We'd go up and they'd be like, and you would know out of my head.
They'd, like, show your work.
I would just start slapping chalk against the board to look like it was my work.
Well, that's how I had to do it in my head.
If I could write it on paper, I would have carried the, you know, it would have been faster on paper.
I hear you, babe.
Hey, hey, babe.
Okay, babe.
No right, babe.
Hey, Ray, what is 130 plus 250?
380?
I mean, that was, that's easier, though.
Give him another one.
Okay.
No, I don't want a competition with the math genius over here, but.
Do you want Amy versus Ray Maths on?
Yes.
No, I don't.
No, I don't.
I would rather not get humiliated.
YouTube both.
Ready?
No, no.
Come on.
Okay, 410 plus 280.
690.
What on earth?
Good job.
He's good.
I had just added the 200 to the 14.
She's still working.
Now I'm adding the 80.
Ray, can you do multiplication too?
Yeah.
Nice.
This is so impressive.
Good for you.
How about 61 times?
Oh, that's a little.
That's, I was like, hoping below.
Let me just hit you on.
Can you do 61 times four?
240.
244.
He's quick.
That's pretty quick.
I'm impressed.
Did you ever want to do math?
Yeah, I wanted to kind of do that.
Maybe be a professor or something like that, but then just ended up going the radio route.
Dang.
All right, well.
Wait, Ray wanted to be a math professor?
And then decided to produce a radio show.
Almost the same path.
Sometimes life hit you.
Sure.
All right, there you go.
Hey, that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobby Bones show
Bonehead
Norrie of the day
This story comes to us from Burbank, Washington.
Police went to a 30-year-old man's home
to question him about catalytic converters
that had been stolen off cars in the neighborhood.
And when they're in his house,
they could see his son's bedroom.
And they look like,
man, that looks like the slide
that was stolen from the local park.
Sure enough, the dad had stolen slide
and attached it to the bunk bed.
But did he steal the converters?
Yeah, he also stole the converters.
But then he got busted from the slide
because they were there to
question him about the other crime.
But how cool is that he put it on the kid's bed?
That's pretty cool.
I bet the kids love that.
Why do you shut the door when the cops come over?
Yeah.
They probably searched.
I think they were searching the whole house.
Are you sure?
Yeah, but they don't warrant.
All right, there you go.
I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
All right, it's time for easy trivia.
We're searching for the first ever champion.
The first person to five wins is the champion.
The score is Eddie won.
Everybody else zero.
Oh.
Wow.
Wow. These are all elementary level questions.
They get just a little bit harder as we go along.
By the end, they're like third grade questions.
They start kindergarten and they go third grade.
Third grade is rough.
Yeah, apparently.
It was a tough year.
I know.
You don't want to hear this sound because that means you have lost the game.
You've been boned.
You don't want to be boned.
Ready to go.
First round, nobody loses.
Amy, what does WWW stand for in a website browser?
Oh man, I was about to say World Wide West Wrestling.
So World Wide Web.
Correct.
Lunchbox in the poem Humpty Dumpty.
Where was Humpty when he fell?
Oh, he was on a wall.
Correct.
Eddie, how many inches are on a foot?
That would be 12 bones.
Correct.
Morgan, how many dwarfs did Snow White have?
Seven.
Correct.
Everybody's on to the second round, as you always are.
Nobody goes home first round.
Okay.
They're still easy.
Amy, you're up first.
In the Little Red Riding Hood, who does the wolf dress up as?
The, like a grandma?
Correct.
Phew.
Lunchbox, the Stars and Stripes is the nickname of what flag of what country.
Oh, the United States of America.
There it is. Nice job.
You imagine you missed that one?
I didn't know we had a nickname.
That might be the easiest one we've ever had on the show.
Eddie.
Dorothy.
Rose, Blanche, and Sophia
are the names of the characters
from what TV show? They are
the Golden Girls. Correct.
Morgan, who is the first woman
to pilot across
the Atlantic solo?
Oh, Amelia Earhart?
Correct. Let's go to third round.
Let's go to the third round.
Nice job. Amy with a late clap coming in there
strong. What grade are we in now?
We're just going. Who knows?
Okay.
In which franchise, Amy, would you find the character
Catness Everdeen.
Oh, Hunger Games.
Correct.
Lunchbox in which sport would you spike and block?
Oh, it's volleyball.
Volleyball is correct.
Eddie, what famous U.S. Festival hosted over 350,000 fans in 1969?
That's Woodstock.
That is correct.
Eddie was there?
Nope.
Go on.
That's a funny.
Morgan, which fairy tale character slept for 100 years?
Sleeping Beauty.
That is correct.
After the third round,
give me two claps
and a were a wolf howl.
Good job, good job.
It's a little harder now.
Amy,
what number president
is Joe Biden?
Oh,
oh, man.
Gosh, I know I know this,
but then it just gets,
like, now I don't.
Oh, my gosh.
Gosh, I would have thought
I should have paid more attention
to the memes.
I need to answer
in five seconds.
Okay.
You're like, yell at me.
I just need to answer
in five seconds.
Gosh, I'm just going to be guessing because for whatever reason, I'm not confident.
What do you have?
45.
45 was Donald Trump.
46.
It's 46.
I can't believe that's the question is going to throw me out.
Dang it.
You've been boned.
Amy, you've been boned.
No, I'm better than this.
You're not.
First one out.
No, but I was first one out last week, too, and that's just not my thing.
So you see what's happening?
Apparently it is.
No, it's not.
46.
Gosh.
Lunchbox, which animal can be seen on the Porsche or Porsche logo?
Oh.
He has his arms out to a side trying to reenact it.
Can you see it?
Yeah, I just, I mean, what do you do with your hand?
Well, they have their wings up, so, I mean, I guess that's a...
No, Porsche.
It's a horse.
What were you thinking?
I was thinking, Eagle.
I don't know what they...
Eagle is, but I was
Porsche is horse.
Porsche is horse?
Yeah.
It is sound the same.
Porch or horse?
That is correct.
Oh, man.
Nice.
I'm glad I acted it out because it made me
feel a little bit better about my hands.
Woo!
Eddie, this is hard.
Is it?
It's in order.
I'm reading it as it goes.
Don't yell at me.
What term refers to a luxurious apartment on the top floor of a tall building?
Penthouse.
Nice.
That's easy.
Nah, really?
It could be sweet.
Ray says it all the time.
They lives in the penthouse.
Morgan.
What member of the Beatles married Yoko Ono?
John Lennon.
Correct.
Wow.
Why did you know that?
I didn't know that.
I know.
Good job.
Nice job.
Let's go to the next round.
Lunchbox coal miners would use what bird to send in to detect carbon monoxide.
What?
I mentioned this a lot on the show.
You mentioned this on the show.
As an analogy, that I'm off in this for situations.
Let's see how much he pays attention.
Multiple times.
Well, the only bird...
Coal miners would use what bird to detect carbon monoxide.
It's quite sad, actually.
The only bird that I know that can go somewhere and come back
is a pigeon because Mike Tyson does the pigeon racing.
But the way Amy laughed at me, I'm not going to say that answer.
Amy, stop giving stuff away.
Just because you went out first.
No, no, I turned my chair.
That actually helps him, but I turned my chair, so now he cannot see me.
No, you went out loud, so it's obviously not that.
What bird?
Do you send in somewhere?
Use the Porsche of the horse technique.
I don't know that that would be.
I mean, the only other bird that I know that would be sad?
Well, I guess it's all sad, huh?
Dang.
I don't know any other, a dove?
Your answer?
Okay, maybe it's not a dove now.
Okay.
Maybe stop laughing.
Five seconds.
Oh, man.
He says it at the last hour.
Robin.
A robin.
I mean, that is not a elementary school question.
That is incorrect.
The term that I often use is being the canary in the coal mine.
I don't know what a canary is.
Never seen a canary in my life.
Okay.
Here it is.
You've been boned.
You've been boned.
As long as one of you two get it, he's out.
Yeah.
He could exist again.
Eddie.
Here we go.
What is a baby goat called?
What?
Man, I went in Cabrito, but that's in Spanish.
What is a baby goat?
Amy, don't laugh.
I'm not.
I don't know this one.
No, you should laugh now, so it can be even.
Yes, you can help me a little bit.
But lunchbox, me laughing helps you.
No, I know.
I appreciate it.
Okay.
What's a baby goat Eddie?
A lamb?
That's a different animal.
A baby goat.
The baby goat is a...
Me.
Little goat.
Little goat.
I don't know what a baby goat is.
It's a...
Oh, no.
It's a...
A boat.
A boat. Baby goat.
Horse, boath.
I use the horse as a horse technique.
You went to a dog to suit technique?
What is it?
Show me a boat.
He thought it was a boat?
It's a kid.
What?
A baby goat is called a kid.
Did not know that.
Wait, you've been boned.
Not yet.
Yes, you have.
He gets to know.
He gets the noise.
Oh, I get boned.
You've been booned.
Amy, you can't tell people they've been boned.
I tell people they've been boned.
I was making sure you didn't forget.
I didn't forget.
He never forgets to bone people.
Never.
Morgan, if you get this, you win.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Oh, boy.
If you miss it, we go sudden death.
Oh, wow.
That means all of you're in because.
Yeah.
too, you know you want the excitement of sunda.
Just missing off.
Shh.
Over there.
Morgan.
What is the capital of Thailand?
We're back in.
Rood.
No.
Oh, yeah, that's probably fair because I don't know.
We're at Thailand is over in Asia.
Capital of Thailand.
I.
Thailand.
because Japan is a country.
Horse, porse,
goat boat, Thailand, cry-land.
Is Dubai in Thailand?
Is that your answer?
No.
Five seconds?
It's not Japan.
Why do I want to say Japan?
Answer.
Japan!
So Japan is the capital of Thailand.
Yes!
She did rhyme it.
Hey, hey, she did rhyme it.
Japan, Thailand.
The answer is not.
Japan. The answer is Bangkok.
Oh! So I'm sorry. Hit it. You've been boned.
It's now sudden death. Write your answer now. I'll give you three questions. You have five seconds to write your answer down. All three of you.
Yes, sir. Oh, you go. Hold it up on the count of three. Here we go.
Question number one.
Ready. Ready? Ready?
Yeah. What is the name of Shrek's princess? Go. Hold it up. Now lunchbox.
Biona. Eddie. Biona. Morgan.
Japan.
Yes.
I got nothing.
Morgan, you're out.
Okay.
You two remain.
Wow!
So do we still write it down?
You still write it down.
You get two more questions unless you miss it.
Let's go lunch, Fox.
What did I do?
You already have a win under your belt.
I know I need two.
How many milligrams make a gram?
Oh gosh.
What?
Write your answer down.
I don't even understand that.
How many milligrams make a gram?
This is where maybe selling drugs in high school would have come in handy.
Oh.
What the?
Excuse me.
You sold milligrams of drugs?
And it never came in handy out there.
Raise it up on the count of three.
How many milligrams and a gram?
One, two, three.
Up.
Mill a million.
Twelve.
What?
You're both wrong.
It's a thousand.
I mean, I don't know.
Your final answer.
Not like hard drugs, but.
Prunes.
Prunes.
Got it.
Were once which kind of fruit.
Prunes.
Where once which kind of fruit.
You have five seconds?
starting now.
Three.
Oh my gosh.
Two, one.
Hold your answer up now.
Lunchbox.
Beat.
Eddie.
Plum.
The answer is plum.
Yeah.
Lunchbox, I got to say,
first of all,
you've been double-boned.
Our winner with two wins is Eddie.
Come on.
Yeah.
My grandma used to eat those all the time.
I shouldn't know.
Two wins, guys.
Good luck.
Eddie, nice job.
Come on.
Two wins and easy trivia.
How you feel, Amy, about that?
You don't like it, do you?
No, I feel like I'll never forget that Obama was 44, Donald Trump was 45, and now Biden is 46.
And you'll never forget, Eddie has a 2-Z-Rowley.
Yeah, you won't forget that.
There he is right there, Eddie.
Thank you, everyone.
Thank you.
Eddie, by yourself.
Give me three claps and a Rick Flair.
Oh, yeah, hold on.
There it goes.
Thank you very much.

Here's Amy's
pile of stories.
So moving during a
pandemic isn't easy
if you're trying
to meet your new neighbors
because it's hard
to just have conversations
or maybe
take over some cookies
because nobody wants
to eat your stuff.
We moved during the pandemic.
So did I.
And we really
haven't met anybody.
One neighbor woman
came running over
with some cookies
and kind of threw
them over the fence.
I was like,
I got you something.
Katelyn
thought somebody
was screaming like
there was something wrong
because she heard like,
hey!
She was like,
what's happening?
And then it was the woman
next door with a tin.
I respect an old tin.
Oh, yes.
You pull the top off.
Man, my grandma
had the worst tin cookies
ever.
They'd be in that little
white cup, the paper cups.
Remember those?
Exactly what you're talking about.
They were awful,
but they were amazing.
Well, they could be any color,
10.
It'd be a Christmas 10.
With a paper.
But it'd be awful.
But we got cookies.
The only neighbor that we've kind of talked to in the pandemic
because we don't want to go and kind of impose our will on folks right now.
But you, do you meet yours?
Yes.
And some of them did bring me things, but they didn't bake on themselves.
They, like, bought them and would drop it off.
And when you'd answer the door, they would socially distance.
They're like, hi, welcome in the neighborhood.
Don't want to get too close.
But anyway, this couple, they thought, okay, we're going to post flyers around the neighborhood
that say, hey, we're new here.
We'd love to meet you.
so we're going to be in our driveway with beer and drinks.
So stop on by.
And that way people can just grab a drink, have it, socially distance, and they can meet their neighbors.
That makes me feel like no one would come, though, because any birthday party I had from age, like, 9 to 13.
It was like that.
Nobody would come.
I'd be like, I rented out the old gym.
One time I rented out the old gym and nobody came.
Oh, man.
I was like, I got roller skates.
We got basketball goals.
And I had to pay $25 to rent out the old gym Mountain Pine.
And nobody came to my party.
I can only imagine me standing there with like a lemonade stand of alcohol.
All right, neighbors, and nobody comes.
Ooh, all right, what else?
This 22-year-old driving a Tesla hit a cop car on the highway.
So the cop car was pulled over because there was another accident.
So it wasn't like all the way off the highway,
but that's where he needed to park and his blinkers were on and everything.
Everyone would know you just need to move over a little bit.
Well, this person was driving on Tesla autopilot,
and the Tesla ran into the cop car on the highway,
I'm torn on this.
Here's why.
Why?
These cars that have autopilots are so much better than humans are.
So when you hear about an accident, it's so rare.
But you do hear one.
People are like, those dang computers.
But if the percentage is way lower than what humans do,
when we're more idiots than computers are,
I'm just like, okay, well, let's get the autopilot better.
But it's already better than how we drive.
But like when it's on autopilot, you still have to pay attention, right?
You have to keep your hands close to it in some states.
Yeah, you can't just take a nap.
Well, no, you can.
So that's the thing.
Like, this guy is not paying attention.
I don't think it's the car's fault because I think we're close to having these.
In some cities, even in Arizona, they have basically Amazon delivery that are all automated.
So I'm very much rooting for the automation of driving.
So I'm rooting against the story to be true.
Okay.
Well, sorry.
I just feel like you.
You got to, if you have your car on autopilot, you at least,
because if they would have been paying attention, they could have swerved.
So, that's true.
Anyway, maybe they were taking a nap.
Or is 1 a.m. and they're 22.
Maybe they had just.
That's probably it right there.
He didn't want to admit he'd be.
My new speculation is he doesn't want to admit he's a prime.
Yeah.
And it's like, no, the car did it.
No, no, no, autopilot.
And I know you're jumping into the conclusion.
It's a he, but it just says the driver.
So.
Gotta be a he.
He's of the dumbness.
All right, what else?
So if you were interested in buying Hillary.
Scott's house that was for sale
for $3.2 million.
It's sold.
How much?
But the person got a deal.
2.4 million.
Dang.
Yeah.
I was going to buy that one too.
Were you?
Yeah, I was thinking about it.
I know.
It's a nice house.
I'm looking at it right here.
It's got a real fancy circle of grass.
It's got like a circle drive,
but a circle of grass in the middle,
like an island.
I'm looking inside of it right now with all the pictures.
That was six bedrooms, five and a half baths,
about 8,000 square feet.
They took a big loss on that, huh?
About a million bucks?
Mm-hmm.
They just kept dropping, dropping.
Then I guess they got an offer for 2.4, and they took it.
Was it Jason Gibble?
Do they think they sold the house to somebody?
All right, is that it?
Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So when people move, they end up throwing away a lot of food that's perfectly fine.
And Adam Lowry, who works for his family's.
moving company, notice this. So he started Move for Hunger, which basically takes the food from
the families that they're moving and they find a way to donate it to the food bank. And since then,
over a thousand moving companies across the U.S. and Canada have started to do this and joined
the Move for Hunger movement. And they've all partnered with local food banks to collect and
deliver the food. And so that way it doesn't just get thrown away. I mean, I get it. I've moved
before and you're just kind of moving so many other things that you're just like,
just throw it away.
Yeah, pretty good idea.
I know.
That's cool.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
A couple things coming up.
Dustin Lynch and McKenzie Porter are going to be in together performing a new song and some of his hits in the next 15 minutes.
We have a new artist named Tierra who I saw perform Ring of Fire and I was like, that's a really cool version.
She's going to come up.
The Friday morning dance party, big show today.
On Monday, Brothers Osborne will be on.
And it looks like Matthew McConaughey will be on too.
So big show Monday.
Let's go over now and get with Amy and do The Morning Corny.
The Morning Corny!
Who tells the funniest jokes on the farm?
Who tells the funniest jokes on the farm?
The comedian.
You like that?
That's a good one.
The comedian.
You really laughed at that.
I did.
I was thinking, I was like, The Comedian.
And then it got me.
He got a good chuckle out of me.
All right.
Hey, let me play this voicemail.
This is Faye currently stationed in the Midwest.
I want to do a little tell me something good story just in case someone is in the same boat as me.
My husband's currently stationed out of the country and I was taking it extremely hard in the beginning.
I'm only about four months in and I can say it does get better.
After all those nights crying and wishing he was here, I finally understood that we can do this.
It's all about love and effort.
I'm also extremely lucky to have our puppy, even though she's a pain in the bud.
Oh, my God.
We still have about eight more months ago, but y'all who are going through this, you all got this and I'm rooting for you guys.
Have a good day.
Love it. Positive message.
You're not going to convince me she didn't squeeze that puppy right then.
It was perfect timing.
You're not going to convince me she didn't go in this puppy, squeeze.
That's amazing.
All right, this is a voicemail we got last night from Joey and Georgia.
Need some help.
My sister was engaged to my best friend.
I just broke it off.
But we've been together as friends for 20 years now.
But now their relationship is over.
Do I break up with my best friend?
It's been my best friend.
What do I do, Bob?
Do I stick with my sister or still have my friend too?
How does that work?
Dang, that's tough.
He's getting punished.
He didn't do anything.
He's getting punished.
That's tough.
If anything, he probably introduced them, so he's probably regretting that.
Best friend of 20 years versus sister of probably 30, right?
I think you can keep them both.
You're adults.
If you're 19, it's a different story.
If you're 30 plus, I think you can keep both of them just for a while.
it will be tough
because it'll be extremely sensitive.
In two years,
I bet everything's hunky-dory.
But when one of them moves on before the other,
you're going to be the guy that they're like,
what's up over there?
What's he doing?
What's he doing?
But I think that you can be friends
and brother to both of them.
You shouldn't have to lose one of them
if you didn't do anything.
No, not at all.
I think that you absolutely have every right.
Again, we don't know the circumstances
in what your friend did to your sister.
Or what the sister did to your friend.
True, true, I know.
Calm down.
But I think your friend will understand that it's your sister.
And then your sister will understand, like, hey, that's been your BFF for 20 years.
I get it.
I don't think they're going to understand, especially the sister.
Could have been amicable.
No chance.
An engagement broken off with amicable.
That's a rare.
That's a rare one.
Okay, well.
Eddie?
What do they say on the bros before?
Sisters?
They don't say bros before sisters.
They don't say that.
No, like, it sounds.
like he's like, now I got to break up with my best friend.
Why does he have to, he's not at fault this?
Like, he can have both of them, both his friend and his sister.
Be sensitive about it.
For sure.
But there's no reason you should have to lose either one.
And if one of them wants you to lose the other one, that's not the one for you.
Ooh.
What about the sister?
This is what I do.
I'd walk in front of both of them.
I'd sit them down and say, I know both of you want me in your life.
I'm going to cut myself in half and give each of you one half.
Okay, here we go.
And whichever one steps forward first, he goes, no.
You keep yourself together and live and you can go be with them.
That's okay.
I'd rather you be alive.
Yeah.
King Solomon.
The Bible.
The B-I-B-L-E.
Hey, but what if...
That's the book for me.
What if no one says anything?
Do you just keep cutting?
You just cut yourself next.
Because life sucks and nobody cares about you, basically.
The Friday morning conversation with Dustin Lynch and McKenzie Porter.
Hey guys, welcome to the show.
Dustin, good to see you.
Good to be back.
McKenzie.
Good to meet you.
They're going to play their new duet in just a second.
Dustin, let me start with you for a second.
I haven't seen you in a little bit.
I guess the Opry is when I saw you last.
Yeah.
Right in the middle of the pandemic.
Man, thank you for the Opry this past year.
Was that the only time you really played in front of anyone was there?
Yeah, we've played a few times now.
But I think the night we hung out was the first time I'd been, since the plug was pulled,
I'd been back on stage.
And it was a crazy night.
For me to be sitting next to Trace Atkins and Blake Shelton, it's like, what am I doing here?
It was an awesome reintroduction to the stage of the Opry.
And McKenzie, it's your first time ever in studio.
So welcome.
Thank you.
excited. Glad to have you here. Thank you.
It's like a bucket list thing for me, so.
Well, let's hope the bucket list is when
you're crushing it yourself
and you come in. But whatever,
I'm still here. And Dustin, how'd
you and McKenzie get together for the song you're going to do later?
Crazy story. Blind auditions, believe it or not.
I wanted to make sure that
think about you was given
the life it deserved. We put it out on the
Telehome album and Lauren Elena did the original
version and just timing with
her releases in mind. We couldn't get it
work out. So I said, man, let's just put it out into the universe, the country music community,
and see if anybody would want to sing this song with me to put out to country radio.
And I had my team remove all the names. I just had a folder of submissions, of auditions,
numbered, and I kept coming back to a version over and over again for a couple weeks and
ended up being this beautiful lady, Miss McKenzie Porter.
Was it all women, or did you have a guy's audition, too?
I believe it's all women.
Okay. Yes. Yeah.
Hey, you know what? I know we kind of had a different plan, but I think I would rather just hear
that song now. Do you guys want to do that first?
Yeah, okay. Do you guys cool with that?
Absolutely. All right, here they are. It's Dustin Lynch and McKinsey Porter with the new one here,
thinking about you. One, two, three, four.
Look who it is. Last call, I thought again.
Had your mama, how you been, girl, it's spent too.
Saw your sister at the circle K, her baby number two was on the way.
Hadn't seen it since a wedding day with you on my own.
It's good to hear from you again.
Girl, what a coincidence
I was just thinking about that weekend
I don't come up in lake
And that one time
And bad in the room
When we were chasing
thought I'd be sorry
For calling me up right out of the food
I was just thinking about
Dustin Lynch, Mackenzie Porter
Mackenzie, let me ask you a couple questions
Because you and your brother
I saw a note that you were the most played artist
in Canada, country music this last year?
Yeah.
Crazy, right?
So crazy.
Because you're a new artist here.
Yes.
But up there you're like Queen Dingling.
Yeah.
That's what they call me, actually, when I come out on stage.
No, I think I've been putting out music for two years up there, and I signed a record deal here,
and finally we're kind of starting to release music here.
I just had to develop, I guess, if you will.
And you have a family.
Do your parents sing?
My dad sings.
My grandma's like a wicked piano player.
so we were always in like a family band
my dad always says like he played in bars
and they decided to like the first time
they're like we'll pay you in beer
and then sorry they're like this like yeah the first time
we'll pay you in beer and then eventually like no we'll pay you in cash
it's cheaper so yes very
musical family your brother won Canadian Idol
yeah what's happening with your family
what's up with these jeans this is amazing
something in the water up there yeah we grew up on
a bison and cattle ranch and there was like nothing to do
so it was just music.
And you sent off,
how did you know about the audition
to be in this song?
My managers.
I signed to Big Loud
and they knew
Dustin Seaman just knew
that they were like
holding auditions, I guess.
Halfway gave it away.
I didn't realize
I followed her on Instagram
after I heard the versions.
I wasn't thinking.
Oh, so then you knew
he probably heard your version.
I didn't know,
but I like screenshoted it
and I said to my team
I'm like,
I feel like this means something good.
So you're an actor too, huh?
Yes, yeah.
There's a show on Netflix.
The Travelers?
Travelers, yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
No way.
No, no, no.
I have been sitting here this whole time being like, where do I know this?
I didn't know if we like hung out somewhere one time or like I.
I was like, this is her first time in the studio.
Why do?
Okay.
So anybody.
I was doing it on the show.
I mean, I still see some of, yes.
So do anybody watch the show?
Okay.
I mean, yeah, I must have.
I've really never seen it.
No, thanks.
Okay, I did.
I can even tell you, like, you had the boyfriend and went to the house and then tell me.
You really know her?
No, I really, I swear, yes, I've seen, I know the whole premise of the show and, like, I know your character.
But it's been a while since.
It's been, we got canceled, like, in 2018.
But tell me your character one more time.
Marcy.
But, and she was.
So she was like, the whole show is based on, like, travelers from the future coming back into
present day and, like, correcting what we've all messed up as humans.
and I played this person who came into like a young girl who has a mental disability.
Yes.
And then turned into like a warrior fighter.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm picturing the apartment scene with your boyfriend and like something.
Y'all couldn't leave the apartment.
Yeah, we shot a lot in that apartment.
Yes.
So yes.
Okay, no.
Mystery solved because I did not know where I knew from.
Well, thanks for watching.
And then Destin, great song.
Like amazing.
But when she started singing, I got the goosebumps.
Oh, good.
Yeah.
See, same here.
So.
She's got something about her vocal.
You can't learn.
right she's just got this I don't know
warmness and great texture to it
and that's what attracted me
you know the first time I heard her audition
I was like who in the heck is this
I've never heard you know that type of accessibility
to you know
a verse you know
well obviously the version of the song but but just
it's rare you find a unique texture
from a singer and she's got her own identity
so I think that's really going to take her a long ways
yeah no it hasn't been to freak out I'm with the girl from Travelers
okay

The Friday morning conversation with
Dustin Lynch and McKenzie Porter.
At break, Amy's still talking to McKinsey about being a traveler.
She's like,
what about the guy from Will & Grace?
He's in that show, right?
Yeah, I just wondered if he was cool in real life.
And he is cool?
He is literally the best human ever.
See, Dustin, this is what I'm experiencing in my life right now
where I go places with my fiance
and everybody only wants to talk to her.
And they're like, hey, Bobby's coming
and nobody gives a crap about me anymore.
And you brought McKinsey and who's not your fiancé.
But she's like your guest on this song
and now we're all like, okay, McKenzie,
tell me everything about you.
Well, I realize very quickly,
whenever we recorded together, awesome,
we hit it off and then we showed up on set
to shoot photos and the video shoot.
And I'm like, gosh, she's making me look bad.
But that's always what you want, right?
That means you're elevating things around you?
I didn't think it through, though, with the director of the video.
So he was shooting her first in the day, and I'm like,
how am I going to follow this?
Because she actually can do the thing.
You have seven number one songs, Dustin Lynch.
The first one, 2012 Cowboys and Angels.
Now, I would like to do a little segment called First and Last,
where we will play Cowboys and Angels.
But if you ever hear this song come on the radio,
what does it remind you of that was happening in your life at the time?
Oh, just it was just a one.
whirlwind of new firsts. I grew up in Tennessee and we vacationed. My family is from Florida
originally to South Georgia. So we would travel there for vacation. But other than that, I hadn't been
really anywhere in the United States of America. And whenever Cowboys and Angels came out, it took me
to all parts, all corners of the states and just all the first that come with that. Like I remember
going to Seattle, Washington and literally drinking like 12 cups of coffee because it was the thing to do.
It's like, I'm in Seattle. I'll drink coffee. You know, like all.
You go to these different cities and you just do all the stuff you think you're supposed to do.
And yeah, so I think it just takes me back to those milestones of just new places.
And seeing a high-rise city like Chicago for the first time is just mind-blowing, you know,
pulling in there on the tour bus and walking into play.
Let's hear a little bit of the first hit from 2012 Cowboys and Angels.
Cool.
There's a walk, there's a need.
There's a history between you.
Girls like her
Guys like me
Our boys and angel
I've got boots
She's got her wings
I'm hell on wheels
And she's heavenly
I die for her
She lives for me
It's an angel
Sign by the side
A cloud of dust
You rain line
Much is her temptation
Her kiss is my salvation
She's sweet I'm on
Dangerous
And Angels
Dustin Lynch
First hit
You still play that in shows, right?
Oh yeah, man
Where do you put that in the set list
Because it's such a
Slow but powerful song
And you got to put that in the right spot
Yeah, it's usually
What do you say
About three quarters the way through
You say the middle of the end
Yeah, the middle of the end
Yeah
It reminds me
Each time we get to play that song, just how many people made that song a part of their lives?
Because you see people step out into the aisles or whatever and slow dance and, you know, forget about us.
That's cool to see every night.
That song is always, you know, you get asked the question, what's your favorite song to play all the time?
And that's it, just because it was inspired by my grandparents' love story.
And to watch people dance and sing their song every night's really cool.
Do you still get in the boat and they crowds up on the boat?
Are you done with that?
Well, you know, New Year.
Yeah.
So we'll see.
No, we retired that.
Now you need to get in a ball, one of those plastic balls?
Oh, that would be cool.
A little bit more, yeah, a little safer these days in a plastic ball.
But I ended up, I pulled a couple of muscles, and then I ended up sending, calling out in the boat.
He did some rides up.
We kind of rotated injuries.
As somebody would get injured, crowdsurfing.
On the IR, yeah.
We would send somebody else.
The, kind of the juxtaposition of these two songs, too, with Cowboys and Angels.
And then I'm going to have you do Mama's House, which is your last song here.
a bit different in feeling.
Yeah, for sure.
But both kind of stem from the same base ideas,
Cowboys and Angels is about two high school sweethearts,
my grandparents, even before high school, really.
They're still married 65 years this year.
Just amazing love story and their goals, man.
I hope I'm like my granddad when I grow up.
And Mama's house was kind of the heartbreak I felt
whenever my high school sweetheart moved off to college
and left me in the dust,
because I kind of messed up.
All I knew in my small town was my grandparents
and my parents, her high school sweethearts,
and save with my sister,
married her high school boyfriend.
So whenever my girlfriend left for Knoxville,
and I was like, man, what do I do now?
You know, this is before social media.
So you didn't really have connection outside of your hometown.
You just knew the girls you went to school with, and that was it.
So it felt like the world ended,
and that's why I relate to Mama's House lyrics so well.
Now here's Dustin Lynch playing us a little bit of his
Last hit, Mama's House.
One, two, three, four.
I see your face on every neighbor street, every corner cup of trees,
they even got a name on.
I feel love, I hear a laugh, got them take me way on back,
heard me memories I don't want.
Up and down a boulevard,
and out of every bar.
I'd burn this old town down
Pick a spot dig a hole
Put them ashes in the ground
Baby I'd burn this old town
Down if it wasn't for my mama's sad
My mama's sad
Damn girl, why'd you have to break it like that
Leaving pieces of my shattered heart
Scattered like glass
I'd burn this whole time down
if it wasn't for my mama's ass
My mama's house
I'd burn this whole town down
If it wasn't for my mama's sad
Nice
You know if you just saw the title of the song
Which I did at first
I was like oh this is a nice song about his mama's house
And then you listen to it
It is not a nice song about your mama's house
Not at all
Think that's why it hooked me yeah
It's the only thing that you like in this town
Is your mama's house
Listen Dustin Lynch you did a good job today
You brought us in a good song
We liked it. We liked your friends here. All your friends. We liked all you guys. This is fun. I haven't seen you in a few months. It's good to see you.
You too, man. Please tell your mom and dad. I say, I'll say it. They may be listening right now. They definitely are listening right now. And let me just say. As you guys know, they're stalked you. I love you too. I'm just talking to them right now. You are more than welcome to come up anytime Dustin comes in.
That was one of the most, like, special artist moments that we've never had.
The parents in. How many times do you get artist-haired? I still think back at that interview and laugh about how nervous.
my dad and mom were they could even talk to y'all but they're a huge fan of course dad and lunchbox
hit it off their boys but other like they get really nervous when they're I mean even on the carpet
when I take my mom on the carpet she just you know it's not normal so thank you guys for being so
sweet to them you guys follow dust and lynch at dust and lynch music follow mackenzie porter at
mackenzie p music and check out mackenzie's music too let me play a little bit of drinking songs
for everybody here do you mind mackenzie if i play a little bit of this please okay here we go
here's a little bit of that
Nice job, guys.
Dustin Lynch, McKenzie Porter.
Nice job.
We'll be back in a minute here.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
So there was a proposal on the beach, and it was all beautiful,
but then it became frantic when the ring was gone.
His name's Brian.
He popped the question to Anna Davis.
She said yes, and then the ring was just like,
I dropped the ring.
And so all of a sudden, they were looking everywhere.
No luck.
So they post up on a Facebook page, the Tiber Island Facebook group.
And they say, hey, if anybody can find this ring, this is kind of where we were, please help us.
So someone named Mr. Foy came to the rescue.
He spent 20 minutes searching in that general area, found the diamond ring, got to them a day later.
So thanks to social media and some guy who was nice enough to take it back.
Did he have his metal detector?
It didn't say if he had a metal detector or not.
Mr. Foy, I would assume that he had a metal detector.
And socks all whipped his knees.
Sandals.
Well, shout out, Mr. Foix.
There you go.
Imagine you lost your ring, though, in the sand, and it's just gone.
I don't think I would leave.
It'd be like when my dog was lost a few years ago.
You don't want to go home.
You don't want to quit.
You don't want to give up.
Dang, Mr. Foie, shout out.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

the Friday morning conversation
with
Tierra
So Tierra is being featured
on our national countdown this week
Hi Tierra, good to see you
Hi
And I tell you I was
I just going through some YouTube videos
And I saw you singing ring of fire
One of my friends sent it over
Yeah
And I don't hear a lot of women
Do ring of fire honestly
Yeah
I mean I
So I used to play at Chick-fil-A
Back home
And we would do like a writer's round
At Chick-fil-A?
At Chick-fil-A?
Yes.
Where is home?
I need to know where this Chick-fil-A is
where there's a Riders' Round.
I'm from Birmingham,
but I'm actually from like a suburb of Birmingham
called Gardenville.
And so I would play with these like bluegrass guys
and they just like taught me a bunch of country music
and Ring of Fire was one of the first one.
So yeah, we'd sing Ring of Fire at Chick-Fle.
Would people come to Chick-Fillay to watch the Riders' Round?
They did.
That's the greatest thing I've ever heard.
Yeah.
It's amazing.
I love both of those things.
I mean, we also got free trick play out of it, so that's always great.
Dang.
Okay, well, I do want to get to know you a little bit, but let's hear a ring of fire as if we were,
I have a number two, please.
A waffle prize.
You got it.
All right, here is Tierra.
By the way, follow her, or you can see what she looks like right now at Tierra Music.
All right, Tierra, when you're ready.
Love is a burning thing, and it makes a fiery rain.
Bound by our desire
I fell into a ring of fire
I fell into a burning a ring of fire
I went down, down, down and the flames went higher
and it burns, burns, burns, burns
that ring of fire, that ring of fire.
I fell into a burning a ring of fire.
I went down, down, down, and the flames went higher.
And it burns, burns, burns.
That a ring of fire.
That ring of fire.
Come on.
Listen, I've heard that song 10,000 ways from, you know, being here in Nashville or being on American Idol.
Everybody that comes on American Idol wants to do that song.
And I'm like, everybody's doing.
done it. However, you do that so good
and just slightly different
that it works. Yeah, it's just like a
tab it slower, you know?
That's cool. Thanks. Tierra is here
and that's how I
found you, honestly. Was
going through some music and I was like
dang, she kills that song.
And then I started checking out your EP. You have
an EP that's out. By the way, Cameron's
here who wrote a lot of these songs with you, right? Yes,
Cameron Vidal. So he, we
wrote a lot of the songs and he also produced the whole thing.
And Cameron, what do you not do?
Cameron walked in and was like,
I'm from Wichita. And I have just a huge love
for Wichita, Kansas. And then he looks at Morgan
and goes, we went to high school together.
And Morgan goes, oh yeah.
Dang. So when did you
That's awesome? Tierra, when did you move from Alabama
up to Nashville? I moved here
three years ago. And I did the whole thing, like, you know,
traveling back and forth, you know,
from my hometown to Nashville. And
after a year in college,
I finally convinced my parents to move
up here with me. So they moved
here too. Yeah, and they're still here. I'm loving it. So with what you've been able to do so
for, I know you played at the Bluebird, which isn't that the craziest, also coolest thing?
Yeah. Yeah, it was like one of my first performances here in Nashville, which was wild.
But it's also like super nerve-wracking because it's like one of the few places where people
are like actually listening. But yeah, I love it. It was super fun. And they're sitting,
like I don't know if you played the round or you played the stage, but they're sitting like right on your
elbow. And they're eating too sometimes. It's the right on you. Yeah, I've done the one on the stage and also
in the round. And yeah, it's, it's crazy. But I mean, that's what, that's why I fell in love with
Nashville and country music is like, you know, I feel like you don't really get those kinds of
riders rounds everywhere. So it's a cool experience. I saw a picture of you and Shania Twain. How did that
come together? How did you meet her? Yeah. So I was on this show called Real Country.
and it was a music competition show here in Nashville
and it was Shania Twain, Travis Tritt,
and Jake, right?
Jake Owen.
Yeah, and Shania was my, like, I was on her team.
And I mean, that was, it was so random.
She just, like, invited me to be on the show,
and I got to, like, be mentored by her.
And she's been so great even after the show,
like, you know, commenting on Instagram.
posts and stuff and just being supportive of my music so how did you not win the or did you win the show
I don't know who won the show so I won my episode but I didn't win the whole thing how did who in the
world beat you like seriously uh do you know who won the show I don't know won the show um jada dryer
she's awesome I know who jada dryer is yeah okay yeah she is actually awesome I wouldn't say she's
awesome her I'd say you both equally awesome and they had to make a very tough decision that's what I
would say. Okay. All right, Tierra is here. Let's do, if you don't mind, I want to do one of your
songs. Will you play Not Your Girl? Play a little bit of that. Tell me about this song first.
Yeah, so I kind of wrote it from, don't laugh, I kind of wrote it from like a relationship perspective.
But really the song is about when I first moved to Nashville, it was really important for me to
figure out who I was as an artist before anybody else could tell me. Because I feel like it's super
easy to just be swayed in one direction and have people tell you what your music should sound
like, what your brand should be. And so it was important for me to like figure that out before
somebody else told me to. So that's kind of like the whole premise of the song. It's like,
I'm not a girl. Can't control me. It's interesting because I, you know, when I just see the title or I heard
the song, I would think it was a relationship song, but then you describe it as, you know,
you, your perspective in a career. It reminds me of not going to write you a love song by
Sarah Borellis. Yes. Which you hear that and you go, oh, she's talking to some dude, not going to
write you a love. But then you find out, she only wrote that song because she's telling her label,
I'm not writing you a love song. Yeah. You are, you are fueling Cameron right now because
he literally said that in the right. I so did not. I so did not want to write this song because
I was like, I don't want people to think that I'm just like crapping.
on them, but I mean, it was just my truth, and he just encouraged me to write that one. I'm proud of her
because she's the type of girl that is, this song couldn't be more true. She sticks to her guns,
and she's like, this is who I am, this is what I do, and it's a breath of fresh air to produce
something like that, you know? Okay. Well, let's hear, let's hear some of Not Your Girl from
Tierra. Let's get.
Who, who, who, who, who, all the rumors heard about you, made me hesitate.
So before I dive in, let's get a few things straight
If you want that picture, perfect version of the same old thing,
Then I'll thank you for the drinking
I'll be on my way, I'm not you girl
Boy, you must have me mistaken for someone,
I ain't going to switch it up for you, lucky for you
There's plenty in the world
Who would do whatever, just a little.
fit the mold I can't be what I'm not so if you're looking for that typical I'm not too.
Now keep playing, we want the whole song. Keep playing. Keep playing. Thank you. There is no reason that you
shouldn't be a massive star in this town in this format. I don't ever throw that around, but there's just,
you're so good. You're just so good. Thank you. I appreciate it. There is no reason that in a year you're not in here
with the number one song, ready to hit two and three.
They're just, if that doesn't happen, this talent has let me down.
Well, listen, I feel like you're known for manifesting people's careers, so I will take that.
I will so take that.
And I don't say that.
Sometimes people come in and I'm like, all right, you get to work and we'll see.
But you're so good and you're so good talking on a microphone.
Some artists struggle when they're new.
Like you come in, you own it.
It's fantastic.
Thank you.
You guys check out her music.
She has a self-titled EP.
I'm assuming it's called tiara.
Yep.
Why one name?
What's the deal here?
Because there's not another tiara.
So like, why not?
Also, my last name is like a little, it's a little difficult.
Anyways, I don't love my last name.
So just the one name.
She's not your typical.
There you go.
There you go.
I get you.
Well, you just got engaged?
I did.
Like last year though, right?
Yeah, yeah, almost like exactly a year ago.
And we're getting married this fall.
Oh, nice.
Yeah.
So you're planning it to happen right when you can't.
Because we are too.
We're doing ours in August.
Okay.
And so, but it's kind of, we're kind of put into that spot where we feel like we can have it and have all the people there.
Yeah.
I mean, I feel like by October, hopefully we can have all the people there because truthfully, like he has most of the guest list because he has such a big family.
And so, yeah, I'm hoping we can have all the people.
and they love to party.
So it'll be a good time.
How did he propose?
So he is a filmmaker.
So he was like, let's go out to Huntsville, Alabama, and like just take some pictures.
Like we do that all the time.
We have like content days and just like have fun, take pictures.
So we went out there and we went to this bridge and he set his camera down and he was like,
we're going to do this really cool like slow-mo video.
We're going to like turn around, face our backs to each other.
and then we're going to turn on super fast
and be facing each other, whatever.
And so when I turned around, he was on one knee.
And then our family came up, like, screaming.
Like, it was like 20 of them.
So it was a moment.
That's really cool.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Before I let you guys go on it and ask you this beforehand,
do you guys want to play a little bit of shut it down?
You have to retune?
Can you do a little bit of that or no?
Yeah, let's do it.
Here she has one final time.
This is Tierra.
Stay out this late.
This item it, and I don't know my name much these days,
but it sure sounds good rolling half your lips.
Tonight is different.
Call sit by sit.
You made me want to shut it down.
Stay out till the morning light, where you lose track,
it's all my door.
I don't mind breaking all the weekend rules.
If you spin me around out on the floor, kiss me again,
me and yours buy me one more boy i swear you gonna mess around it made me want to shut it down
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh I just can't help myself when i'm with you there's no one else boy you know damn good well if you keep it up we're gonna shut it down i just can't help myself when you're
I'm with you there's no one else
Boy, you know damn good well
If you keep it up, we're gonna shut it down
Nice job! That's great.
Thank you.
You guys follow Tierra, Amy, what do you want to say?
Nothing, it's just so good.
Yeah, it's so good. I'm just impressed.
Thank you.
Add Tierra music on Instagram.
Are you on TikTok doing the thing over there too yet?
I'm there. Am I doing the thing?
That's the question. No, I'm not.
All right. You'll get it there. Trust me.
All right, Tierra.
She has this thing. Hold on now I don't want to say.
It's something that came to my head
and do the thing with your voice
where you go, like really high.
Like I wasn't expecting to go back.
Maybe that was also even in the first song.
But it sounds so pretty.
Y'all two together. Are you always going to be with her?
Amitrado.
He will always be here. Yeah.
I mean, we, like, I feel like
this, this EP is kind of
like a reintroduction
for me and he's super
like into R&B country and
I am too, so it just messes well together.
No. You asked me how long I've been here and I told you
been 10 years, almost 11, and I've been kind of looking to find my way in this town as an R&B
country guy. That's kind of the two genres that I grew up listening to and I want to do,
but it's like it was hard to find a place to fit in and like make it work, and then little
Tehrer came along.
Well, yeah, I was like, she's a golden ticket because she's amazing. And it just works.
Yeah.
Yeah. Thank you guys. Tierra, thank you for coming in. Big fan. Good luck. Crush it. I'll see you
again when you're like, hi, what's your name, Billy again?
I see it now.
You're going to be that big of a star.
All right, clap your hands.
Tierra, everybody.
Thank you.

military. Open doors to the future for you and your family with the help of American Military
University. That's amu.apus.edu.edu slash military. Big night last night. We had Amy's birthday dinner.
It was good. We had spaghetti. That was spaghetti, right? Yeah. Pasta. Pasta with like a
pasta to me or spaghetti. It's like thick noodle, thin noodle. I just call it all spaghetti. With meatballs.
Yeah. But like a limine garlic pasta. It was good. And Amy's daughter, we talked about
this on the show, she auditioned to be in her school play.
Yes.
And so we were trying to get her to do her audition, like sing or do the dance that she did.
And so she only wanted to do the dance if someone would take her to the gas station to get a
Fanta.
And so I said, okay, come on, I'll take you.
So we go to the gas station.
I'm like, here's a couple bucks.
She comes out with six Fantas.
Oh, nice.
She really saw me.
Yeah.
For who I am.
Well, I don't think she thought you were expecting change.
Well, I did.
Not only that, she kept all the other change.
She did?
Of course she did.
She had it in her hand.
She said, I got your change.
I was like, ah.
Your accent of her is, your impersonation of her accent.
Yeah.
Oh, and then what?
Then we went to Sonic.
Yeah, we're all sitting around the dinner table waiting.
I mean, it was a real small, intimate thing anyway.
There was only two couples and then my daughter.
So it wasn't like a big deal.
We were trying to, you know, COVID-friendly.
And we're, the food is plated.
We're all sitting there.
It's getting cold.
And we're like, where is Bobby with this year?
They literally went to the gas station.
Then we call them or Caitlin does or something and they're like, oh, we're at Sonic.
And I'm like, what?
What?
Right before dinner.
Yeah.
Listen.
She said you wanted a Bobby Water.
Stasheera and I don't get to hang out that often.
And so we were together and I was like, let's just go hang out a little bit.
I'm sorry everybody had to wait on food.
So what happened when y'all walked in the front door?
Was it awkward because we were all sitting there waiting?
No.
We had a great time.
So we then did
Like a birthday cake
Yeah
Amy had a puzzle
Of Dolly Parton
That she was trying to finish
We all gathered around the puzzle
And finish the puzzle
That was cool
That was my favorite
Birthday presents ever
Was completing the puzzle
It was always fun
So it was an A plus party
Thanks
Yeah everybody got there
Around 5
So we were supposed to eat
At 530
But Bobby delayed it
But I was
For a good moment
Yes it was
Yes
Thank you for spinning
That time with her
I convinced her that Caitlin's real last name was Booger.
Yes.
She was like, I like, I like, Caitlin.
And I was like, yeah, she's great.
But her last name's Booger.
And she was like, really?
Did she ever call her that?
Well, we got back and Caitlin was like, what did you do?
Yeah, around the dinner table, Bobby was like,
Stasheera, what's Caitlin's last name?
And she's like, Booger.
That's great.
He also told her some other lies, but we won't go there.
So anyway, I'm glad we did it early.
It was great.
Everyone was able to get home, probably getting better.
bad early, but I could tell that Bobby was itching
like the whole time to be like, look at his phone.
It wasn't itching. We had an 8 o'clock.
Yes, I know. That's what I mean.
I knew you had that to get to and I was trying to be
respectful of that. Like, after you left,
Stasheer wanted to continue playing games, so we
did, but she was like, why did they leave?
I wanted to play Disney code names.
And I was like, well,
he has a basketball draft. It's very important.
Yeah, and we scheduled three hours
after the party started. We felt pretty comfortable about that.
It's totally fine. I'm glad you did that.
And we did that to what time? 10?
10, 10, 30?
You technically had two parties last night.
Well, one was in my underwear in my bed with a bunch of dudes.
They were on Zoom.
They were on Zoom, though.
We couldn't tell.
The tournament starts today, but we all sat around and drafted teams last night,
and you auction off team. Was it fun?
Oh, it was a blast.
So, like, how many guys or what are y'all doing?
Like 10 guys or so?
And a team goes up and you bid on them,
and if part of that team goes, the more money you win.
Well, I got nervous because, you know, like,
when I saw the people on there, I'm like, great.
I'm not going to be able to afford one single team.
That wasn't true.
It was me, as a bunch of us are small group of friends that you would know, Ryan Hurd, singer, Matt Stel, Matt Jones from Kentucky Sports Radio.
Matt Jones.
That's about it.
I mean, Eddie and some other buddies.
And Ryan signs in as Marin Morris.
He did change his name over to R.H though, real quick.
That's funny.
Yeah, but it was good.
Your birthday party was fun.
We had fun last night.
Today, Arkansas plays at 1145.
Early game.
Cannot wait.
He's like, so let's wrap this up.
No, I had a bunch of work to do today.
But happy birthday.
And Eddie, your birthday is Sunday.
Sunday.
How old are you going to be?
42.
Wow.
42.
But, you know, like, I'm not going to do anything.
I don't really like to celebrate the birthdays.
That's what everybody says.
No.
You guys are stealing my gimmick for the past 20 years.
No, when I was like younger, I love birthdays.
Now that I'm older, I'm just kind of like, let's just get the day going.
It's okay.
Eddie's birthday is Sunday.
Sunday.
202.
Mine's coming up in like a couple of weeks, too.
Yours is right around the corner, like two weeks from today.
You're going to be 41?
That's crazy.
That's what I've been saying, dude.
I'm elder versus millennial.
Now you're going to say it.
So around 100 people in Taiwan have legally changed their name to salmon.
Why?
Because a restaurant is offering free sushi to anyone who does.
Hilarious.
So almost 100 people have registered to change their name as part of a promotion by the restaurant chain Shishuro.
You know who changed their name was Nico Moon.
We talked about this on the show.
Yeah.
You guys know Nico Moon.
from,
Hey, just I now have a good time.
We just trying to catch a good time.
His...
What do you change?
Nico or Moon?
Moon.
His name was Nico,
and he had a normal person last name,
but his real last name is Moon now
because he changed it.
We're talking to him.
He's on this week's episode of the Bobbycast
that we'll go up later today.
It's a long interview with Nico Moon.
He said his label wanted him
to do a remix to this song,
and he was like,
all right, but I want to do it
with somebody that's a little bit different.
And right after that,
Shaggy actually reached out to him and was like, hey, this song's jam. Here, here's a clip.
He heard it and called and was like, this is cool. I really dig it. And I would love to do a remix on it and do my thing.
And immediately, I think to myself, reggae music is all about good vibes and having fun. And that's what good time's all about, you know? So this is perfect.
And I wanted it to be someone that no one would expect. I didn't want to go with some like, oh yeah, yeah, I could see that.
You reach out to that person or whatever. I wanted it to be like so out of left field. It's my first remix I've ever done. I wanted it to just completely catch people by surprise.
but at the same time, it work, and it makes sense.
You guys can hear that full interview.
It's about 45 minutes with me and Nico Moon.
Just go to the Bobbycast later today.
We also talk about all the new music that's coming out this week.
Someone stole the Ronald McDonald's statue from outside a restaurant in Michigan.
There's a $1,500 reward for anyone who returns it.
That's a bold theft.
Yeah.
Yeah, it probably takes a lot of work to get that down.
Ronald has been a big part of the Woodhaven community for many years,
and they're offering a $1,500 reward for a safe return.
and they give the number to the cop
police at some time between March 12th
and
1 a.m. to 2 a.m.,
someone went and took it up from the bench.
But you had to cut it off. I was looking at a picture.
Like you had to saw it off.
It's the one where his legs crossed.
On the bench. And it's like an old school Ronald too.
Yeah, I like those.
Billy Elish's hair, she revealed
she has blonde hair, is now one of the 10
most liked post on Instagram ever.
Just by her.
How many likes?
Well, she pulls her hair up and you see it.
like float. She's had green hair for a while.
But it became one of the 10 most like post with over 19 million likes.
Ooh.
The top spot still belongs to that brown egg that went viral in 2019.
They got 54.9 million likes.
I don't remember that. What was so special about it?
Nothing.
It was just a brown egg?
Yes, but famous people just like it.
Get out of here.
That just shows you how odd some things are to go viral.
X, X, X, Tenetian's final post before his death has 23.8
million likes. Third place is
Cristiano Ronaldo's post
in remembrance of another soccer
player has 19 million likes. Billy's hair has
19.3. Wow.
For just the hair. Anytime
I announce stuff, nobody cares.
Was it Ronaldo the one that, is that
his name Ronaldo? Ronaldo? The one that posted,
I think there was like a while back he posted a video
of him posting something and
watching his phone just blow up as soon as
it posted. It was like,
oh, do, do, do like 100, 200, 300, 300, 400, 500, 500, 500, 500, 500,
500, 500, 500, 500, 500, 500, 5,000 likes. It was crazy.
He's the guy that gets, you know, almost a million bucks if he wants to put something up on Instagram.
Crazy.
It is crazy.
Yeah.
I wish I could announce cool stuff.
I am doing Tuesday night.
I think this has already been announced.
I'm not sure.
I don't care.
We are doing a show, like a talk show on Twitch starting Tuesday night.
We do it at the house.
We have a whole set built in the next room.
That's cool.
It's called On Time with Bobby Bones.
It's going to be at 8 p.m. Central.
And the first two guests, and you can watch it on Twitch if you have the app.
The first two guests are Maddie and Tay and Ryan Hurd.
who are going to come over.
We got the whole route.
It's being built over like crazy, right?
Yeah.
It's kind of our version of a, you know, talk show.
And we're going to try it out on Twitch.
That's really cool.
We've had some cable, smaller cable networks go, hey, would you like to do a talk show?
And I don't.
I don't really have time.
And I don't really want to do it by their rules.
So I say, you know what?
Why don't we get on, there's a new country music channel on Twitch.
I was like, let's just do our own version of a show for like six times and see if we like it.
And then we can go.
But Mike D is helping me ride it.
And Tuesday night, 8th Central, we'll do.
it. It's not Twitch is free to download. You can watch it.
But more details soon. I don't even know if I'm supposed
to announce that, yeah, but I did. Yeah, you said, who
cares? There it is. Who cares? Matthew
McConaughey on Monday's show, Brothers Osborne
on Monday's show.
Well, if you're a big sports fan, today's a big day
because the NCAA tournament officially starts
and Arkansas plays today at 1145 Central.
They're playing on True TV. Do I even have that channel?
I'm sure I do have paid for every channel, I think.
That's a good point. I don't know.
Like, I don't even know if I have that channel.
I woke up like Christmas morning. Like, all right, let's go.
I've been waiting if they win.
I'm going to go to Indianapolis on Sunday to watch them play.
So I'm pretty pumped for today and then all day.
I'll be watching all the games.
What's going on with you?
I had Austin.
Oh, you have a birthday weekend in Austin?
Yes, I'm super excited for that.
And then I'll be back on Sunday.
Resume my normal mom life.
That's what's up.
On Monday, we should have Matthew McConaughey on and we should have brothers Osborne.
You guys have a great weekend.
Eddie, we'll for sure ask Matthew McConae about your diet.
I cannot wait.
He's going to call me crazy, but I cannot wait.
All right.
We'll see you guys on Monday.
Have a great weekend.
Bye, everybody.
Bobby bones.
