Welcome to Friday show. Morning, studio.
Morning. Amy's back today, and she walked in
with sunglasses and a scarf over her head.
I saw that.
No pictures, please.
I did not.
We don't even know her anymore.
It's all a big movie story now.
I snuck a picture in though.

So I'm going to spend it with her a little bit.
and then I'll fly back.
And I wonder about Mother's Day for my kids
because they have birth moms in Haiti
and it's this whole thing.
I think it brings up some stuff for them.
So I'm sure we'll do something special,
but I don't want to make it like a huge deal.
I guess my question is,
are they old enough to want to do something themselves
without prompted?
Oh, they'll be prompted.
Okay.
And they'll make like a card.
Okay.
Yeah, that'll be good.
Prompted, not by me, though.

It's time to open the mailbag.
mail and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's mail back. Yeah. Hello, Bobby. My husband and I've been
married 29 years. My husband has always been secretive with this phone password. Yes, that in itself
bothered me in the beginning, but I'm over that now. A few months ago, we were somewhere taking care of
some personal stuff, and he had no choice but to access his phone in front of me. And much to my
surprise, I noticed his password is his ex-wife's birthday. Oh. I have not confronted him and thought maybe it's
better to leave things alone, but it keeps repeating in my head. He's never given me any reason
not to trust him. Should I confront him, or do I just leave it alone? He and his ex-wife, married nine
years, met while they were both in the Marines. Thanks. Wife of a Marine who's wondering.
It's an interesting email.
They've been married 29 years.
And I would think, too, just me, I'm going to just go off the top of my head here.
If you've been married 29 years, I don't think if he's going to cheat, he's going to go back to his old ex-wife to cheat, for the most part.
Okay.
You know, I think that, unless they're having some...
That's just not probably where he's going to go cheat if that's the situation.
Yeah.
I would also think, and I'm not sticking up for him, I'm just trying to figure out why this would be the thing.
Maybe that's just a number he can remember now.
Is he...
Six digits, four...
It could be six.
Yeah, it could be six.
But bones.
And how do we know for sure?
I know it could be her birthday,
but how do we know for sure
that because it's her birthday
that those four numbers
are representative of that?
And how does she know it?
It's my birthday.
They likely are, but also this is not a big deal.
It's a thing,
it's a, it's a something in his life
that he had to remember for nine years
that now has zero association to him.
So if someone were to try to want to get in his phone,
they'd be like, oh, what's his wife's birthday?
What's his birthday?
They're not going to go,
Oh, what's the ex-wife's birthday?
So it makes sense.
They didn't have passwords for iPhones 29 years.
That's what I was going to say.
But that's what I'm saying.
Like, he's trying to pick something that he knows he'll remember
that no one will associate him with.
Okay.
I don't know that that's it.
Well, then what is it?
I don't think there's anything shady, but I don't think, I don't think that's it.
Well, I mean, that could be.
Because you can pick any four numbers that someone's not going to associate it.
You can pick 2793.
But that you'll remember?
Well, yeah, now I'll give you all my passwords.
Yeah, please.
Wow.
I understand why she feels weird about it
because I don't think it in any way means he's cheating on you or doing any...
Not that.
I think the fact they won't ever let you in his phone.
That, to me, is the one where it's like,
why is he so secretive about his phone?
But he's never given her any other reason not to trust him.
Except for not, and then X, Y, Y, number.
Maybe he, because he doesn't want to say out loud.
Well, then change it.
To me, the X, Y's birthday does nothing.
except that's unfortunate.
He should be smarter than that.
Weird.
You know, guys are dumb sometimes.
But the part where he will never let you in his phone
and is super secretive about it,
that's the part that kind of hits me a lot.
Sometimes Caitlin has to get in my phone.
Sure.
Could it be his former Marine lifestyle?
Like, my husband's always been super secret about stuff.
With your wife?
Listen, I don't know.
Is this guy still?
Hey, old dog, new tricks hard.
What's that saying?
I'm not buying that, though.
Time to get on the phone?
And I don't like saying old dogs new tricks hard.
I'm just going to say, I don't like saying that.
It doesn't make me feel comfortable, and I will not say it anymore.
Old dog, new tricks.
Art.
So this is what I'm going to say, wife of a Marine.
I think you can say something to him and see his reaction.
I don't think he's doing anything wrong.
But don't be accusatory.
And if he does go, you know what?
This is the only thing I can remember.
I think you have to trust that.
He hasn't given you a reason to think he's lying to you.
but I think it's okay to ask and he's okay to answer.
If he gets really defensive, hit me back with another email.
This is tough.
How do you ask that question without, like Amy said, being accusatory?
Hey, what is your phone pass code there?
Is that your wife's X-X-X-X-Birdth birthday?
There you go.
Yeah, you're curious.
You're not accusing him.
Yeah, all right.
You're kind of are, but not really, and you're kind of funny about it.
I was like, Amy, how do you do your laugh thing?
Do your laugh when you bring it up.
Go.
Is that your Xbox?
birthday.
That's not funny at all.
Maybe you can go ask any question
as long as she's laughing like that.
Okay, so yes, you can ask him.
Don't put him on his heels with it
where he's like, oh gosh.
Just say, was I,
was that your ex-wife's birthday
you typed in there?
And then go from there.
But I don't think he's cheating on you.
Let's just see his reaction.
But also, after 29 years,
she remembers his ex-wife's birthday.
I know, that's weird too.
Why is that not being questioned?
Right.
All right, thank you for your email.
We'll leave it there.
Guys, you can email us anytime.
Morgan, if they want to send us an email, what do they do?
Mailbag at bobbybones.com.
All right, thank you guys.
We got your email and we've read it on the air.
Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag.
Yeah.

All right, it's time for Fun Fact Friday,
which we like to start with a listener, fun fact.
This is Catherine from Texas.
I was letting y'all know that, for Fun Facts Friday,
that earlobes are genetic.
They're either connected or not connected at the base.
I was wondering what you and the rest of the crew had,
if y'all had connected or disconnected the earloat.
Good question.
I did not know that.
Mine are disconnected, Amy?
Mine are connected.
Weirdo.
It's not weird.
It's just unfortunate because I don't have much of an earlobe.
Lunchbox?
I guess disconnected, right?
Eddie?
No, I'm normal, dude. Disconnected.
Nothing's normal.
Well, one of us is a psycho killer here.
No.
All right, let's count them down.
Number five.
The President of the United States is the fifth highest paid world leader at $400,000 a year.
The Prime Minister of Singapore is on top with $1.6 million a year.
I got probably gave himself a raise.
Yeah, that didn't seem fair.
Like when you get that spot, you rate.
That's what the senators do sometimes.
We vote and give us a raise.
Yeah, which some people are like, oh, wow, that's all the president makes, but he gets everything for free.
Yeah, and most people in politics are rich.
Yeah.
That's how they can run.
Yeah, he goes.
And that's why the system's broken.
Not all.
So don't hit me with, well, this person, most are.
Most people are wealthy, and that's why they can run for politics.
And that's why it's hard for people who are poor to have someone that sticks up for them.
That's why right now I'm announcing.
Come on.
All right, here we go.
Number four.
A tiger's tongue is so rough that just a few licks could draw blood from your hand.
It looks rough.
Sounds like a romance novel you're reading.
What just happened there?
And my little cat, when she licks me, it hurts.
The tag's tongue rushed over my
That was almost weird, all right?
Number three.
Coca-Cola never patented in their secret formula
because doing so would require them to publicly disclose the ingredients.
Kentucky fried chicken, I believe, same thing.
Because no one knows the recipe.
And yes, and they hide that in a vault.
In the bottom of the Denver airport where there's a whole civilization.
That's what they say.
And isn't it crazy that there used to be cocaine and coke?
Yeah, Elon Musk said he's going to buy coke and put cocaine back in it, too, when he was talking about Twitter.
Go ahead with us.
Yeah, yeah.
Number two.
Monica Lewinsky, she has not had a full-time job since she finished her White House internship in 1997.
I was listening to her talk once, and she said, hey, it doesn't matter what I do.
If I discover the greatest undiscovered thing, I will still be Monica Lewinsky, the intern that had the affair with the president.
I know.
It's like nothing I can do.
So it stinks.
That's an unfortunate situation.
I mean, because Bill Clinton, he kind of move on, does his own thing.
She's also moved on
and doing her own thing.
I know, but she'll always be remembered as that.
Her net worth is $41 million.
Oh, that's why she hasn't had a fun job job.
Yeah, so she doesn't need a job, guys.
Her parents were also wealthy.
Okay.
But she has a great life now.
No, but I...
She's chills.
Yeah, but I'm sure she would have played it out differently.
There's nuance in this, but that stinks.
That stinks for her.
Number one.
Steve Jobs had a high school GPA of 2.65.
So there is hope.
There is hope.
I think you're missing the point.
No, we're not.
What's the point?
smart, he was disinterested in school.
That could have been our problem. It wasn't that he was being lazy
and not wanting, he was doing other things.
We were doing other things too. Still, hope.
Okay. H-O-P-E. Hope.
Guys, you're 40.
Oh, I thought you said spelled something else.
40, all right.
Fun fact, Friday.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
Armin and Roanak, they are twin brothers out of Houston, Texas,
and they have been named Valedictorian.
and salutatorian of their high school.
So they're both at the top of their class.
That's pretty cool, but if they're twins, you know,
ooh, the salutatorian's got to be like, dang.
Well, check it out. It gets crazier.
They both graduated with a great point average of 4.865, both the same.
So the administration had to go back and look at who took the harder classes
to see who's going to be valedictorian.
They can't give them both valedictorian.
They're twins, and it's a better story.
If I'm the twin that got salutatorian, that's awesome.
That's pretty funny.
They probably pushed each other.
as well in a very positive way.
Yes.
It's a cool story.
But man, I'd be so irritated.
If they had to go dig deep to make sure I wasn't valedictorian.
Which one took harder classes?
All right, good story.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

She's wearing my crown right now
It's on loan?
And I'm going to get that back
That.
Okay.
All right.
Eddie, congratulations.
Thank you,
Ben.
Nice job.
It's easy trivia.
Good job, everybody.
Especially the muffin man.
I mean.
We came in and rocked the house today.

Amy's morning corny in about 15 minutes.
Here's Big Rob from Las Vegas.
I have a joke for Amy.
What do you call an alligator and a best, an investigator?
Thank you.
I've heard that one a lot.
Amy knew that one already.
It's good, though. It's good.
Yeah, I think the first time I heard it was 1806.
Big Rob just heard it.
I appreciate that Big Rob because you just heard it.
Right.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sean, who listens to us on Bay Country 94-5 in San Francisco, just sent us this.
Just got done listening to Morgan on a product that she recommend.
She talked about UFRAs.
Definitely recommend them.
We actually use them in the NFL.
And a lot of colleges use them, such as Stanford and Cal, for recovery base.
So, yeah, just wanted to chime in a little bit.
Highly recommend them.
And just love the show and keep doing what you doing.
Apparently, Sean is in the NFL?
Yeah, he said we use them.
Maybe he's just works somewhere in the NFL.
NFL? It could be Sean Poindexter, wide receiver.
That doesn't sound like him. His last name's Poindexter.
No, this guy's 26 that I looked up, so that can't be the name.
I know, but just anybody has that last name?
I wish.
Yeah, Point Dexter.
It would be cool. Einstein would be cool.
Appreciate that, Sean.
Hey, let us know what you're doing the NFL.
If there's any way we can help you give us tickets.
Yeah, exactly.
Help he is.
All right. Here is Melissa in Florida.
Hey, Bobby.
I'm listening to the podcast right now in that bit with Jason Aldeen and Reese.
was probably my favorite bit ever.
That little girl is so lucky.
Good for you, Bobby.
Yeah, I appreciate that.
Good for her. Good for Jason.
That just happened to be all the timing worked out.
Yeah.
Jason didn't know.
I told you didn't know if he were live.
He was like, hey, I'm listening to a bit.
You guys did?
I'm like, no, no.
I'm talking on the air right now.
And he's like, all right, well, I'll call in.
All right, thank you, thank you.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
There's something that's gaining popularity,
and it's called laughter yoga,
which combines traditional breathing techniques with laughter and regnit clapping.
So the process during class is laugh, clap, breathe, laugh, clap, breathe.
And it's designed to get people laughing and feeling good.
I got a theory about these yogas.
I think people start skipping out on yoga class.
They're like, well, we got to do something.
Bring in a goat.
Bring in a cow.
Get people laughing.
Get people farting.
I don't know what it is.
But I feel like these things only start.
when class numbers go down
and they have to find.
I don't think there's some revolutionary finding.
Yeah, that laughter, they say it's so good for you.
Yeah, but not in yoga.
Oh.
No, it's not like, okay, we're going to try to do a max bench press while laughing.
Yeah.
You'll die.
In addition to goat yoga, there's beer yoga, naked yoga.
Yes, that's what I'm saying.
Eddie likes both of those.
He wants them at the same time.
Sign me up.
Yeah, he wants naked and beer.
All right, what else?
Speaking of Eddie, I pulled a story about setting alarms since he's trying not to snooze.
How'd it go this morning?
I mean, I got up.
You did?
I'm not happy about it, but I got up.
Did wake the family up?
No, I turned my alarm off.
Good.
So I'm good.
All right.
Well, according to a new survey, the average American sets four separate alarms for themselves most morning.
What's wrong with people?
Four, that's not even snoozing.
They just set four to make sure that they don't sleep through the other.
I don't mind that.
As long as it's not four different alarms.
I have, and my wife hates it.
I want to show you, this is my phone, and these are all my alarms.
Oh.
Whoa.
Interesting.
I have, I counted them, I have 91 alarms for different minutes that I need during the day.
91.
Like, she's like, why don't you delete them all and just set each one new every day?
I don't like that.
I like to know what's ready for me.
Depending on what the day holds, I have a time I need to wake up.
Do you label them?
I don't need to.
Oh, you just know.
I know, yes.
Oh, look at you.
Fancy.
Time is my specialty.
All right, go ahead.
I was going to say, I freaked out because I saw there's a percentage of people that set more than
nine alarms, but you just blew that out of water?
No, I don't set them all. I have 91 on for different times that I need.
Okay. Could you imagine if they were all set?
And then...
Very normal.
I'm jealous of these people, and my mom fell in this category. It was crazy.
They don't even need to set an alarm. They just tell their body...
They don't trust them. They're ninjas, for sure. Check their drawers for throwing stars,
because they're ninjas. They just tell their body, I need to wake up at 5 a.m.,
and magically they do. Now, since Sunday is Mother's Day, I thought I'd share this cute
story from Miranda Lambert, and she was talking about how her mom played a big role in her career,
and she booked shows for her when she was first getting started.
She was booking me in bars.
I was playing in Texas, so my mom was, like, my booking agent.
She was working with me, and she was kind of like my boss in a way, and I hated that,
because she was also my boss in life because she's my mom.
And so that was a tough time.
You know, I think if that happens, and you then become wildly rich and famous,
you have to buy your mom at least two houses.
If she was your early, minimally, yeah.
So hopefully Miranda's hooked her up a couple times with a couple houses.
All right.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.

It's time for the good news
With lunchbox
There was a 911 call in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Yeah, what's your emergency?
Ah, yeah, there's some people fighting next door,
a lot of screaming, I need police ASAP.
So police respond, and they find out
it's just Eli enjoying his birthday party with a bunch of friends.
Why did it sound like something's going on?
Because the kids are running around screaming, playing football,
and the cops are like,
ah, just a mad neighbor because kids are having fun.
let's have fun with them.
So the cops put their badges down and played some football.
So the neighbors were just complaining being bad neighbors.
Yes, but the cop instead of breaking up the birthday party, played football, let them show them their guns, you know all that.
No, they didn't show them their guns.
Remember the time lunchbox called the cops on his neighbors?
It was a graduation party.
And there was too many people.
It was during COVID and they had way more than the allowed gathering of like 10.
They had at least 50.
So embarrassing.
That's so embarrassing.
That might be on the list of lunchbox cringiest moments.
Yeah.
No.
Mike, we should add that.
Our listeners have been keeping a list of lunchbox's cringiest moments, which we think are hilarious.
Some we do and some are like, ooh, but we'll debut them soon.
They're really funny.
Yes.
I just think that if you're breaking the law, I needed to call because it was during COVID,
and we were saying you can't get more than this many people together.
And they were obviously saying, you know what?
I don't care about the law.
That is a shirt.
If you're breaking the law.
like I needed a call.
Lunchbox.
All right, that's a good story, though.
I love when police officers just show they're normal folks.
Yep, they're out saving our lives every single day,
but they're also normal folks.
Who can just chill? You know what I'm saying?
All right, that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
