Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Greg Gillespie and Michael Mianini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. this is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast
Starting point is 00:00:38 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed, I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves.
Starting point is 00:00:58 We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Ikew, I got you. And I'm I go on. My next guest, it's Will Farrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:01:24 He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Turnpike Trubadors will be performing today. Very excited about that. Welcome to Friday show. Morning studio. Morning. All right, let's go around the room here. Bring me your favorite story of the day.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Eddie? Well, I'm a huge Elvis fan. So I saw recently that Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis's daughter, she passed away. And so now a judge has named her oldest daughter, Riley Coe, the new trustee of the trust. Was there a controversy about who was going to get the Elvis trust? Yes, because I think the mom, which is Priscilla owns a lot of stuff. So she was trying to get it from Lisa. The daughter. I'm confused. Okay, so Priscilla was Elvis's wife. but is Priscilla still alive? She's still alive. I met her.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Okay. So Lisa Marie, the daughter, who was married to Michael Jackson for a little bit. Correct. Got it. Riley is the granddaughter. They skipped Elvis's wife for the granddaughter? Well, I think Elvis left a lot to the daughter versus the wife. And the wife is like, give that to me.
Starting point is 00:03:03 So then the daughter has the ability to give it to whomever. So now that Lisa Marie is dead, the oldest granddaughter, which is Riley Co. Her daughter. Is the new owner. That could be tricky. And she, I guess she owns Grace Land now, which was Lisa Marie. Is she the actress in the Amazon show? Yeah, it's called Daisy in the Six or something?
Starting point is 00:03:24 Jones in the Six. Yeah. And that's crazy. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. So I read that story. I thought that was interesting. Yeah, I got the whole, all of his family tree up there. It's just crazy that Priscilla doesn't have it.
Starting point is 00:03:34 He gave it to the daughter and the daughter. It doesn't go back up to the mom. The mom then gets to pick. And that was just the legal battle that they tried it do for years. I never been to Graceland. Did you got to go? I know. You're such a music fan.
Starting point is 00:03:45 You have to go to Graceland. I want to go. The last two times that I've been to Memphis, my cars were broken into, both in an Olive Garden. But that was a long time ago. Yeah. So, my question is, is it all the gardens fault or Memphis's fault? Yeah, I don't know. So I'm two for two in the last stops.
Starting point is 00:03:59 So I just am like, I don't want to hit the hat trick, you know? Dude, what's crazy is when you go to Graceland, they give you the whole tour and everything, and you get to see everything except upstairs in the house. You can't go up there. Does somebody still live in there? Because obviously Elvis is not alive anymore. Well, they say don't go up there. That's where he died.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Okay. It could also be that. You can't see the bathroom where he died. Who would want to? Well, I mean, that's where he died. You know the story? He was in the pooper. Lunchbox, what story do you have over there?
Starting point is 00:04:26 Man, there's his hottie. She's 39 years old. Sarah Jacqueline King. She's a glamorous California attorney. And she has pled guilty to $8 million fraud. After she blew through $7 million in a six-month stay at a six-month stay at the win. She was a lawyer and she had a lending firm
Starting point is 00:04:46 LLC and she was just taking the people's money and she was going to Vegas and she stayed there for six months and lost $7 million gambling. So it's money that she was claiming to be doing something else with? Yeah, she had an LLC called Newport-based
Starting point is 00:05:02 lending where she was supposed to be investing the money. But she was just taking it and she was spending it. She played golf with Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rogers. Did she just pay a bunch of money? She had, I mean, I would, if you pay enough money, you can just go play golf with people. She's hanging out with a mom and golf course. She is smoking hot.
Starting point is 00:05:21 Well, that's why I wonder if she's playing with Tom Brady because you smoking hot or is it because she spent a bunch of money. That's a great question. I don't know? Don't you all have that thing when y'all play golf or if you're just one, you hop in with another, like three other to make a force for them? I don't know what that's going to happen there. That's a funny thought. I don't know what's going to happen there. I mean, there's a picture on her, I guess it's from her Instagram that has just bundles of cash laid across the wind
Starting point is 00:05:42 bed. She went hard. You know, it wasn't even a Ponzi scheme type thing where she would take money and pay it to somebody else and then keep some. You're like, Bernie Madoff, he would always, he'd pay people and be like, here, you've made money. But he was taking in two times, three times the amount that he was giving out. She looks like she was just going to the roulette table or something.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I mean, that is crazy. She stayed there for six months and lost $7 million. LA attorney accused of blowing 10.2 million of clients money. pled guilty of wire fraud. I wonder where the difference is in the seven and the ten. Maybe she lost seven. Yeah. And like three million, she didn't.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Yeah. That was the one she hit. Yeah, that's like when Scoo Steve goes. We won $16 in the lottery. No, we lost $83. Steve, Scoo Steve. All right, thank you, lunchbox. Amy.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Barbie, Weird Barbie from the movie. If you like that character, the doll is available for pre-order until August 18th. And then they're expected to ship May of next year. So it's going to be a minute, but you can order the Weird Barbie, which I feel like a lot of my friends love that character. Weird Barbie was supposed to.
Starting point is 00:06:41 show that when Barbie, if you were a kid and you had a Barbie, you played with it so hard. You like Rodon's face. You cut its hair. It was like the one. Split its legs. Yeah. It was broken because you just went so hard with it. And so Kate McKinnon. I had He-Man.
Starting point is 00:06:54 I didn't have Barbie. But I did love the Barbie movie. So I'm not running from that. I thought my Barbie movie was great. But yeah, it was really good. Kate McKinn is her name, right? She was really good in that role. Yeah, Kate McKinnon.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Finally, a rebrand from Twitter to X in my app now says X. And will it ever just go to us calling it X? It's going to be tough because it's such as just. generic thing. That's hard. Yeah, when you're looking for it on your phone, you scroll right past it because you're looking for the Twitter. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I can't find it. If you type in Twitter into search, does it still come up? Meaning, you know how you pull down? Twitter. Yeah, it comes up as X. If you type on Twitter, X still comes up. You can search for your apps. What?
Starting point is 00:07:27 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, forget. He doesn't do that. I have no idea. I can do that. So anyway, so Twitter is now X, but what the problem is, is people, like myself, I've had Twitter blue since before Elon Musk was there.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Because I wanted to edit my tweets. I was using it for work. stuff. So I've been paying like $2.99 for a long time. And then it kind of came a weird thing where it's like, you have to buy Twitter blue. Well, I've already had it. But the problem is now it charges his X. And so now dudes are getting in trouble because their credit card statement has X on it and their wives think they're looking at porn. Okay. And you have to explain the whole thing. Get it? Yeah, I get it. You paid money to X. Rated X. Right at yes. So that's the situation people get in charge for X. And girlfriends and wives everywhere are seeing it thinking their dudes are buying
Starting point is 00:08:11 dirty stuff. Baby, I swear, I swear. It's Twitter. It's just one X, isn't it? Likely story. Just X, though. And like they say, X going give it to you.
Starting point is 00:08:22 You know what I mean? Thank you for being here. We've got a big show today. Don't forget also tonight. I'll be in Wichita all doing my comedically inspirational show. Eddie will be with me tonight and tomorrow night.

But the contest, all this ends tomorrow, so go over to Bobbybones.com to do that. Thank you very much. Now, let's open up the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:09:30 You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. One of my really good friends. And maybe my my best male friend has started treating me differently. I'm pretty sure he's hoping to be more than friends. I really value his friendship,
Starting point is 00:09:49 so I want to be careful and not lead him on or upset him. He often pays for our drinks or dinner when we're out together. And I didn't think anything of that because he makes more money than I do. But then last week he tried to give me a gift. I refused it. It hurt his feelings. I really want to stay friends with him, and I'm afraid when I tell him I don't see him in that way,
Starting point is 00:10:07 he's going to not want to be around me anymore. What should I do? signed friends own Zoe This is tough because I would say 95% of extremely close male to female straight friendships
Starting point is 00:10:21 if it's just a straight friendship we're not the same we were working together before we became friends Are you pointing to me? Yes because I'm going to make this example and you're going to what about us Oh yeah I know I know
Starting point is 00:10:32 You're one of my best friends but we wouldn't have just become best friends unless we were putting this situation together 95% of male female best friends is a dude just waiting for her to be single so he can try to hook up with her.
Starting point is 00:10:46 And maybe date her. Yeah, get together with him. Yeah. So, I think he probably, he's willing to throw away this friendship by giving it a chance to be with you.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Not just hook up. It could be any of them, but it sounds like he, maybe you're just recently single Zoe. I'm going to go in a place here, Zoe, you don't think I'm going to go. But it's going to be, almost impossible for the relationship to be the same as it was before this day right now.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Because he now, and his mind goes, I'm making him a move. He didn't buy a gift three months ago. He bought it now. He's making his move. What I'm going to encourage you to do, Zoe, if you're single, unless you're just repulsed by some part of him, give him a chance. You're friends with him because of, like, foundational reasons, sensibilities, morals, whatever it is, you're friends with him, why not give him a chance? Unless you just vomit when you look at him.
Starting point is 00:11:48 It's possible. It is possible. You have to be men more than women because we're idiots. We can need to see pretty boobs, but we're stupid. Where women actually, you can see things, and you still need to be attracted to the person, but you can see other things to be attracted to. It's not just physical. My encouragement to you is, unless you just absolutely, 100% against it, accept a gift, want a date because you're never going to be the same friends anyway. So you might as well, give it a shot. And when it doesn't work, you can do the same thing. Hey, let's just be friends. It's not going to be the same. You may eventually get back to a point sooner or later, but he likes you. He likes you. So there is no way to make it like it was. That's the sad truth to this because he now has made his move. He rung the bell. You can't unring a bell.
Starting point is 00:12:37 And you choose to be with them or not. Give him a shot. or not and you'll never be exactly the same kind of friend. You can be friends again, but never be the exactly same kind of friend. Well, give a quick what she should say, okay, say she does take your advice and she does go give him one chance. And then she's like, oh, shoot, I want to, no, this is not. I want to be friends. How does she then have that conversation? The first conversation is she has to now, like, accept the gift or whatever this is, and let him make the move. It's not up to her now to go be like, all right, baby boy, bring it. Because what if he's like, oh no, I just thought you thought you'd like that.
Starting point is 00:13:09 So that could also be happening here, but I doubt it. You guys' instincts, you're right almost all the time. We are not, because our instincts are boobs, but yours is all kinds of stuff. I would just say, put your wall down, let him approach safely, go out with them, see if there's something kind of romantic spark. And if there's not, you still have the same conversation that you want to have right now. But it's never going to be the same, sadly. That's what I have to say.
Starting point is 00:13:41 That's crazy, man. I think that happened to me in high school. As you're talking this out, I'm like, oh my gosh, that was me. There was a girl we were friends. And then she was like, we're not going to date. And then she gave me that chance. And we dated for like a week. And then she was like, eh, it's not going to work.
Starting point is 00:13:55 And that was it. That's crazy. As you talked about this, I'm like, I never once thought that that's what she was doing. She gave me a shot and I ruined it. No. Maybe she just wasn't there, but she'd, no. You know what, now I'm sad. Did y'all stay friends? No. No, it ends.
Starting point is 00:14:12 And it wasn't going to happen. It was never going to be the same anyway, had she gone out whether or not, because you had already expressed your feeling. That's amazing. I think that's really the only thing you can do here. Yeah, I agree. Good luck. I hope you guys get, I mean, that'd be awesome. It'd be a great story if you guys got together. And I would give them a chance of then if, when you break it off, you can start building back to being more normal eventually anyway. You obviously enjoy his company. Obviously. So why not enjoy his company? I'm bonnors. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:37 All right, that's the mailbag. We got your email and we read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. About time for Fun Fag Friday. A couple appetizers for you. Vicks ballpoint pins have a hole in the top of the cap. So if a kid swallows one and get stuck in their throat,
Starting point is 00:14:55 Eric can still travel through the cap. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know those holes. On the cap, he used to put in my mouth and just go, who, whew, remember that. The trend. with men's and women's shirts. And it's lost it so long.
Starting point is 00:15:09 It's not even so much of a trend, but the buttons on the right and the holes are on the left, on a man's shirt. And it's the opposite on the women's shirt. The reason, because chambermaids back in the day who dressed rich people, they needed to know who was a woman's shirt, who was a man's shirt.
Starting point is 00:15:23 So they just, when they made them on those sides. A chambermaid. You gave me a shirt, and it's a woman's shirt. I mean, I've been known to accidentally wear women's clothes before. I don't know if you do that. I did not know that. Are you sure? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Well, my chambermaid always would tell me. That's crazy. Okay, let's go. Fun Fact Friday. Fun Fact Friday. I have another similar one. This is kind of a mid-course, not even the main course. The guys leaving the bottom button of their suit unbuttoned because you have two buttons on a jacket.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Two buttons. It's supposed to leave that bottom one unbuttoned. It started in the early 1900s when King Edward the 7th of England was too chubby to button the bottom of his jacket. So he's like, this I declare this a fashion trend. Oh. Because they're like, you never unbuttoned. You never buttoned that second one. You always button the top one.
Starting point is 00:16:13 And if you're, depending if you're sitting or standing. If you're standing, you can button. If you sit, you undo it so it doesn't like tear your button off. That's still a struggle today though, because if you got a little belly, the bottom one is really hard. I demand it. You don't, but you don't ever button the bottom one. I know. But if you try, you'll be like, oh, we can't.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Thank you, King Henry. That's why you declare fashion out loud. Fashion! Okay, here's my real one. Leonard Skinner, the band, is named after a gym teacher named Leonard Skinner. Wow. Three of the members of the band had him in high school. They got in trouble for having long hair, so they named the band after him.
Starting point is 00:16:42 And a tongue-in-cheek kind of homage to Mr. Skinner. Did he give him any money? Leonard Skinner. No, I don't think so. They didn't name it. His name is Leonard Skinner, and they're Leonard Skinner. So not the same thing. Who else is a Skinner? Principal Skinner? Yeah. Simpsons? What is that? Skinner. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Mike, right? Skinner. Amy on here. An adolescent mouse can fit its body through a hole that is the size of a ball point in. Oh, that's crazy. They don't have collar bones and they have a lot of fur. So like an adult, like a younger mouse can fit through that size. If it's an adult mouse, it can fit through a whole the size of a dime.
Starting point is 00:17:18 So they can push themselves. Yeah, they just go right on through. They squish themselves through. They look fluffier than they are. It's sort of like my dog. I have a Laberdoodle and we just had to shave her down and she was so fluffy and then she comes back and I don't even recognize her. She looks like a laber rat.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Oh, she's ugly. Not ugly. She's so cute. I love her. She's just not this. She's so tiny. Yeah. Morgan. I'm a big Star Wars fan. I didn't know this. Leonardo DiCaprio was originally offered the role of Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels. And he met with George Lucas about the role, but ultimately decided to turn it down because he said he couldn't take on such a big role at the time. A few weeks ago, I told you that a blue whale, when it goes to the bathroom, it excreets 52 gallons of waste. But did you know that the waist is only, it's like ping pong size balls and it's made up like breadcrumbs, the consistency.
Starting point is 00:18:10 And it's very important for the ocean because little fish and 86 different types of crustaceans eat that poop to survive. Wow. Perfect. It's always. But isn't that crazy that little fish behind the blue whale, they eat the poop and so do the crustaceans. Eddie, what do you have? This is for lunchbox. In America, 1,700 people become millionaires. every single day. The United States has over 8 million families
Starting point is 00:18:37 who have a yearly income of a million dollars. That's a lot. I mean, that's crazy. But that has to mean there's a lot of families who are losing and going below. Yeah, well, that's not talking about that. Yeah, I mean, I feel like they're factoring in, like, there's a deposit that takes you over
Starting point is 00:18:52 and then they got a pay mortgage and takes you back down. Oh, like technically a million? I don't know. Yeah, I would think that's it. And I would also think there's a lot of people, too, that are losing money and will no longer be million. Dang, dang, dang. Because it's not just a gain society we live.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Right, right. Spend and save. Yeah. Yes. That's not very fun how we ended up. You guys broke it down. People were going broke. I mean, I saw that there's whale poop and perfume.
Starting point is 00:19:15 What? Yeah. Fun fact Friday, I'm out of here. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this guy, Sebastian, he loves his metal detector. It's his hobby.
Starting point is 00:19:31 He loves going places to look for things. And he was at a. World War II Battlefield in France. And he came across a high school class ring that belonged to somebody. He just didn't know who or where this ring came from. So he did a lot of research. There was an initial on the inside an R, the name Corota. And he was able to find out that it belonged to Robert Corota, who was an Army Staff Sergeant,
Starting point is 00:19:54 and he died in France in October of 1944. He was only 20 years old. Fighting. That class ring was not old at all. Yeah, he was killed in action. And Sebastian was able to contact Robert's family, though. And they flew to France and recovered the fallen soldiers ring. And now they have it back home in Hawaii where their family runs an auto body business.
Starting point is 00:20:19 They have a Roberts Medal of Honor next to it. And the class ring is on display too. So it's just something really special to get back. Good for him for tracking it back. Yeah. I'm telling you that I said, hey, put that UPS. You have to be honest with you. Because that Hawaii trip
Starting point is 00:20:33 They're not going to go all the way to France. Even Hawaii to the States is a long flight. Then you got to keep going to France. I'd be like, throw that in like three-day parcel. Right. But good for this guy, for tracking him down. It's a really cool old school ring on the inside of us, the engraving of his name.
Starting point is 00:20:48 And I'm sure that family really loves it. Like all jokes aside, that's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in
Starting point is 00:21:16 someone's, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfectant. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police.
Starting point is 00:21:42 As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Ameriopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
Starting point is 00:22:35 like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network.
Starting point is 00:23:15 It's Will Ferrell. Woo. Woo! My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent.
Starting point is 00:23:33 He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you. Which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
Starting point is 00:23:53 It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Easy trivia. It's Friday. Amy, let's go. What's the primary language of Mexico? Spanish. Correct. That's the category of lunchbox. Languages? Yeah. What's the primary language of the
Starting point is 00:24:25 United States? English. Correct. Morgan, what's the primary language of France? French. Correct. Abby, what's the primary language of Germany? German. Correct. Roll on in the second round. Good John. Nobody goes home the first round. If you miss. a question, you get boned. You've been boned. Who ever last the longest wins. Amy, you'll go first. Starting point is 00:30:53 Morgan. Morgan. Adjective. An adverb is an action, so an adverb. It's a verb, adverb. Do we get her adverb? No. A verb is an action.
Starting point is 00:31:06 You're describing an action. But the word is a verb. Yeah. I'm going to give it to her. Okay. Adverb. All right. I'm dumb.
Starting point is 00:31:13 I thought those are two different in the English language. Verb and adverb. They're two different things. What? Adverb and verb are two different things, though, right? Mike D. You want to not give it to her? Okay, no answer.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Incorrect. Still one zero then. How many left? It's awesome. One. I'm just trying to get out of it, guys. This is great, man. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Come on, Morgan, get this one. So, Morgan, you have... Zero. And you have, Abby, you have one? Mm-hmm. Okay. All right, here we go. Which state was the last to join and was the 50th state in America?

Starting point is 00:32:15 Wilma. I actually ever. Willma. Well, Abby, you won. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks. Which parent is the pushover when it comes.
Starting point is 00:32:25 to enforcing the discipline, the family discipline. I mean, when you guys were living together. Me, probably the mom. You were the pushover? Yeah, at times. I mean, I would try to stick with it because I know how important that is, but I tend to lean lighter, yeah. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:32:40 The mom, the boys take advantage of the mom, not me. Boy, I know that. When Eddie goes home, those kids, yes, sir, yes, sir, yes, sir. It's crazy. I remember my wife said something, they're like, okay. I don't even want to ask what happens, because Eddie goes home and they all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:32:55 just like, I don't think it's anything. I think it's just the sound of my voice. Like, I'm stern about it. Trust me, the sound of your voice, I don't scare anybody, but. Yes, it does. Oh, wow. Yes, sir. Clean your room now.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Blush, box, what about you guys? How, man, my kids are more scared of me because of my deep voice, but I'll tell you what. I don't really feel like disciplining them because I'm like, man, there's being kids. Okay. So, here you go. The question is, which parent is the pushover? The parent most likely to cave into the kids is overwhelmingly the father. What?
Starting point is 00:33:23 Really? Yeah, because guys guys, because dudes are most of the kids. Like, whatever. Yeah. Yeah. What does it matter? Lazy. Wow.
Starting point is 00:33:29 No, it's not lazy. Because they're like, I don't even want to deal with it. They're just being kids. Here's Amy's pile of stories. It's Friday, so are you feeling lazy? Anybody? Yeah. I don't ever feel lazy.
Starting point is 00:33:42 I just need a nap. Do you think people feel lazy on Friday? I mean, this is a general question. Do you feel lazy on Fridays? I guess. Because that's like almost a weekend? Or is it like I really want to finish strong? That's how I feel.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Yeah. Well, a new study from 10th. Texas A&M found that workers are the least productive on Fridays. Computer, you know, they tested like how many clicks for a minute, how much typing is going on, all this stuff. Monday through Thursday, it's like people are in business. And on Friday, it drops drastically. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:34:11 It's like, ah, who gives up? Weeks over anyway. Our job's different, though. Like, we have to do it. Like, you know what I mean? Like, we have to finish. Yeah, there's no just taking a segment off. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Well, you. Sometimes you take segments off. Because you're on Facebook and not paying attention. Well, I'm saying like, but if we all... That's not a Friday thing. That's an any day type of. But if we all just sat here? Yeah, it'd be tough.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Yeah, we just play music. If you're wondering what day workers are the most energetic, it's Monday. That's the most productive day. Well, production and energy, I think, are two different things. Well, I think that when they studied it, it was like both because you had the weekend, you're rested up, you come in. It's Monday. You feel good, so you get more done. I think Tuesday and Wednesday would be the most productive because Monday you're kind of still, like,
Starting point is 00:34:55 A little bit of fatigue from... I love Mondays, though. Me too. Yeah. My favorite is Tuesday. Boom. The best day of the week, you all know, it's my time. So I wrote a song about Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:35:07 So happens. It rhymes. The lowest number of crimes. A super bingo at 9. I don't know how you do your Tuesday. This is how I do mine. So, but that's, yeah, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:14 That study was from Texas A&M and it makes me, last where I went to college, so it makes me think about college. And then I had seen this totally different survey about, would you go back to college if you could, like later in life. Like go back and redo it all? That's a great question.
Starting point is 00:35:26 And I'm going to answer, I'm going to answer yes only because nobody in my family had graduated high school, much less college. For the sake of just going to college and what I got from the actual college part of it, no. No. Because I'm doing this. And most jobs, you can just get started in the real world. But I want doctors to go back to college if they had the same question asked. Yeah. But yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:35:53 But my answer is yes because it was important to me to be the first family member to, do that high school and college. Yeah. Almost half of people asked that they would go back, but mostly so that they could learn time management because it's an opportunity to learn things. You know, Bro,kes. You know, financial planning stuff or just completely change their major. I hear you.
Starting point is 00:36:12 I think college is amazing, but it's also overrated at the same time. It just depends on what you want to do with your life. Everybody doesn't need college. And it also costs a ton, which is stupid. It is. It's stupid. We charge us for high school then. No, don't.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Exactly. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Exactly. We don't want that. If you want to be educated, there are a couple things this country does a terrible job at. It's taking care of education and taking care of people's health. We have a lot of money in this, I was going to say, university, this country. And we don't take care of people's health. So, moving on, Amy. Well, there's a reason you should stop and smell the roses, literally. According to some therapist, it's called a smell walk and it can reduce stress. A smell walk is exactly. what it sounds like you walk outside and take in all of the sense around you. I don't like smell walks around here because if you walk behind lunchbox, you get a dose of the opposite. Is it different kind of smell? It's a different.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Yes, yes. It just helps with sensory input and like your helps you just reset if you need it. And then lastly, start your mornings with a cup of profi or profi. I guess it would be profy. What's pro? What's the pro for? So coffee and protein. So I saw this on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:37:26 It's like a lot of people are doing it. You just put one scoop. No. You put like a scoop of protein powder. It's chicken and coffee. Yeah. In your black coffee. So it sort of gives it if you have vanilla or chocolate or whatever it gives it that flavor,
Starting point is 00:37:42 but also gives you some protein in the morning. So it's profy. I've been drinking athletic greens every morning. Me too. What is that? The little package. The green stuff. I tell my wife what my goals are and then she helps me get to that goal.
Starting point is 00:37:55 She's like, I think, because you have stomach issues, you're trying to get these vitamins. She said, just drink athletic greens. It's a package of basically green vitamin. You dump on your water and you drink it. And it doesn't taste great for me because I don't like the taste of just vegetables. But she said, hey, if you don't like the taste of it, it's too bitter, like a pure vegetable smoothie. I don't like those. She just pours a little bit of lime juice in it.
Starting point is 00:38:18 So I do a little lime juice into that. It is not near as bad. And so I do that every morning. Okay. And it put, and I put a. Tabelspoon of chlorophyll in there. No idea what it does, but she tells me to do it. Isn't that the stuff?
Starting point is 00:38:29 Why, ain't that the stuff you pass out? That's what? It gives, it's giving, uh, it's giving, uh, that's giving oxygen to your blood. Yeah, I don't know. Like I said, I would tell her my goal and that she would go, this is what I think you could do. Let's try and see what happens. So you're kind of microdosing like me. No, you're not microdosing.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Yeah, with, uh, emergency. No. You, that's not what one of that is, but, um, yes. Thank you guys for being here today. Don't forget tonight. We'll be in Wichita, Kansas, doing my comedically inspirational show. Would love for you to come. There's some tickets for tonight. Tomorrow night's sold out, but we'd love for you to come.
Starting point is 00:39:07 Go to Bobbybones.com. And also tickets at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Go on sale for the same show, Monterey, California. We'd love to see you guys there. Bobbybones.com. And there you can also get on the contest to win a free trip to Vegas to watch the show. So thank you. Amy, is that it? Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile.
Starting point is 00:39:22 That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good. News. Brittany lives in Hanover, Pennsylvania, and she was headed to Walmart, and her son was like, Mom, can I go? Can I bring my stuff lying with us? She's like, sure, grab the stuffed lion. It's his favorite stuffed animal.
Starting point is 00:39:41 He goes everywhere with it. So they go to Walmart, do some shopping, go home, eat dinner. And when they're getting ready for bed, he can't find the stuff lion. And he's, wha! Where? Mom, I lost my lion. She's like, oh, no, this is miserable. his favorite stuffed animal.
Starting point is 00:39:58 So she gets over on a handover Facebook page. It's like, guys, any chance someone knows where this is lives by that Walmart and go, look, people start talking, commenting, sharing it. And all of a sudden a Walmart worker gets on there says, hey, we have the lion. We have the lion. I'm surprised I didn't throw it away. Yeah, right. If it's just somebody working there and the lion's stuck in the ground or something. And so they said, we've been waiting for someone to come back and get it.
Starting point is 00:40:24 And they showed pictures of the lion working at customer service. and the next day she went and got the lion. They took the lion, put it like it was like a flat Stanley forking, took a picture to show them that is like doing stuff. That's cool. That is really cool. That's an effort that they did not have to do.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Did you ever, I had a little, it was called Squeaky the Mouse. Oh boy. That was your friend? Yeah, and all this thing. How big was it? No, it wasn't real mouse, Amy. We weren't that poor.
Starting point is 00:40:49 I was poor enough to get a squeaked animal from a yard sale. That's not what I was implying. Amy's like, oh, you had a nice rat who's dead. No. It's not what I didn't I say that. It was like this big. I remember church gave it to me
Starting point is 00:41:02 and I kept it for like a couple months and then it was just gone and we didn't have social media either. Oh, man. What, though, man? I still have squeaky today. That's a great story.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Thank you, lunchbox. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins, but the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctor this,
Starting point is 00:41:26 particular test twice in so much. I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesspian. Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.
