Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's get to it. Listen to The Clifford Show on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target.
Starting point is 00:00:51 He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:01:21 He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Friday show. Morning studio. Morning. Jelly rolling studio coming up. First, let's do headline news. I'll go to you. I'll go to you. Give me the headline and give me the news.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Lunchbox. Headline news. Go. My five-year-old graduated pre-K. I thought you hated that. That's stupid. It was so stupid. Did you get him a balloon that said we did it?
Starting point is 00:02:22 No, no, no. It was so stupid because all the other parents, they decorated their cars. And so my wife's like, we got to decorate our cars. So we had to put balloons on our cars. And they had the whole ceremony. That's fun. It was fun. But the decorating the car and all that was just, and some parents got every student.
Starting point is 00:02:43 a gift. I'm like, what is going on, guys? Because it's not a big deal? Yeah, I don't understand. Like, giving gifts and then people are giving gifts to the teachers. They're acting like they are going out into the world. I mean, they graduated pre-K. I found out that it's like emotional because
Starting point is 00:02:59 they're getting bigger. Like, like, you know, and a lot of, well, yeah, because I didn't get emotional, but a lot of the moms were and I'm like, why are you guys crying? I don't understand. And they said, because they're getting older and some of them have them like for half day, because preschool is not like a full day of school. So then they're like, That's it. We're not going to see him for like most of the day now.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I did have an emotional moment. Not at the graduation, but I was putting his, because they have to wear the certain uniform. I had to put it away for the final time because he doesn't wear it anymore. And that was like, oh my gosh, he's going to kindergarten. But the graduation was stupid. Stupid. But he did it, guys. He was not the valedictorian though.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Oh, he wasn't? No. Oh, okay. Eddie, give me your headline first. Well, my big headline is I broke my foot. playing baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals, you know, at the pro level. And so I went to the orthopedic doctor to get the final, like, diagnosis. He said, sure enough, I did fracture my foot.
Starting point is 00:03:52 And for the next two weeks, this is the, this is the important time of my foot's recovery. So I have to stay off my foot. Two weeks sounds good, though, as opposed to, I mean, I thought it was going to be amputated. I'm going to be in the, I did think it was going to be amputated because I can't feel my last two toes. I thought they're going to be gone. They said, no, those are people with diabetes. That happens to them all the time. Got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Yeah. But here's the. deal. So the next two weeks is tough. I gotta stay off my foot. So I can't do stuff around the studio. So Abby, can you get me some water? Oh no. And then I have boiled eggs too that need to be cracked and thrown away. So lunchbox, can you do that for me later today? No chance. No, do you need a bell? A bell would be cool. That would be so annoying. Well, I hope your foot gets better, but they're not going to run your errands.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I can't move. You can, though. That's why you have a boot on. Okay. She do have to move. All right. Amy, headline news. Well, headline news is I sold my house. Yay! Wow. The Cardinal was right.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Talk more about it later. But there's some stuff in the works. And it's a pretty big headline. For me. We saw, and listeners reminded us, a lot of your mom in St. Louis. Oh, my gosh. They were everywhere. The Cardinals were everywhere.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Yeah, it's not how that works. Oh. Was your mom part of my footbreaking? No. Well, maybe you didn't. You did make fun of my story with her for sure. That's a big deal. Good job. It's a big headline.
Starting point is 00:05:16 There's more details that we'll get into because I'm just not ready for y'all to tell me I'm crazy again yet. Because you know it's coming probably. Oh, for sure. Because you know it's probably kind of crazy. It's 100% crazy. But I'm like, did this really work? Oh, boy. Because it's something I did.
Starting point is 00:05:33 She's been scammed. She hasn't even sold the house. Somebody stole the house. Okay. Headline news, Morgan. All right. So the latest with the dog that I found dodging traffic, she's still with me. I see on your Instagram story, like she's going on walks and stuff with you.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Yeah, I'm trying to get her adjusted and just get her ready. So she did serve her stray hold at the animal control shelter, which she, like, served it with me. She didn't have to stay there. And I got a rescue to pull her, proverbs. And so now we're going to work to get her ready for adoption. So you're not going to keep her? I can't. She likes to terrorize my cat.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Hazel is currently playing like lava on all the tables to not touch the floor with her. So that's not quite working as long term. I would love to keep her, but that's just not a... Yeah, I don't think it's a long-term solution either. You can't keep every dog that you find. But it was great that you found her and you still have her. And hopefully you'll find her a good home. But nobody came forward and said it was their dog.
Starting point is 00:06:23 No, no owners ever came forward. And so now we're just going to work to get her ready for adoption. My headline, headline news, maybe I'll act. So I got this offer to have a movie role. there's some stuff in it. And I went back to the team and said, hey, I don't feel comfortable with this something in the role. Can you change this?
Starting point is 00:06:42 Because then maybe I could do it. And they've kind of agreed to the changes. Oh. I think so. So your percentage would not. Now you're getting a writing credit. Definitely. Now I'm not writing it, but I just ask for some changes.
Starting point is 00:06:52 And I'll tell you about what it is at some point. But I might do it. I just don't really like acting much. I've done it. It's somewhat semi-significant amount. Movies, TV shows, whatever. Not my thing. But if they're asking me, I have to go like,
Starting point is 00:07:04 that's kind. That's nice. but I'm probably at like 54% now positive. What I'm up? 5% jump. Oh, I thought you're 51. That's 49. Oh.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Maybe. Yeah. Telling the director what to do. Exactly. I asked a question, hey, can I politely ask for a change? And they said, most likely. That's throwing your weight around. No weight.
Starting point is 00:07:25 That's like what Leo does. It is. There's no weight. All right, De Niro. No De Niro. Wow. There's my update there. Let's open up the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:07:35 You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Belands. My parents are getting older and starting to need more help with daily activities. I have two siblings, but I end up doing most of the caretaking, which is becoming overwhelming. I need my siblings to help, but I don't know how to talk to them without getting emotional and it turning into a fight. How can I get them to share the responsibility? Should I get a trusted third party to help them understand?
Starting point is 00:08:02 Signed. The caretaking big sister. So this is what I would do. I would write it all out. Anytime that you feel you'll be too emotional to talk, you'll get too angry, you'll get too sad, you'll cry, you'll write it all out. Because those thoughts were made at a time when you were thinking clearly
Starting point is 00:08:20 and you want to say them, and emotion wasn't getting in the way from you transferring from your brain to the paper. Now you can write it out and read it to them, or you can write it out and send it to them. Both are fine. But you need to get the, the message to them of how you feel when you're not being emotional so they can understand why you feel that way. This is a super sad thing that a lot of people have to deal with.
Starting point is 00:08:46 You can also get a third party, a trusted third party, a cousin that they trust, you've got to in some way communicate with them in a non-emotional way. It's okay to get emotional eventually. But whenever you're sharing what you're feeling and why you're feeling it, you can't be too emotional because they may not understand it then. What might happen is they get defensive, you get a bit cryy, they feel sad, who knows, write it down. Just in general for anybody doing anything where you feel like emotion could get the better of you. Or even going into like talk to your boss where it's like, I want to do this, but I get really
Starting point is 00:09:20 nervous. And all of a sudden I don't, I'm not saying what I thought I would say, write it down. And go in and say, I've written all this down so I don't say something wrong. And just read exactly what you wanted to say when you had clarity in communication from your head to the paper or to your phone. I definitely wouldn't go in and read your phone though. Oh, yeah. That's informal.
Starting point is 00:09:42 I've written out. Yeah, I would definitely write it out. It just looks like you've put a little more time into it and you're just not reading like a tweet from Gary V. Because I get you sometimes. I love all that. I do think that the only way to remove the emotion from it is to do it when you're not emotional
Starting point is 00:09:59 and somehow get that conveyed. That third party's fine, but I would write it out. Yeah. that supports the whole data versus drama and that's how you want to be with this. This is family. There's already so many emotions involved. There's already some resentment starting to pile up. So I would talk about this ASAP before more resentment forms.
Starting point is 00:10:19 And then like Bobby's saying, data, leave out the drama. And if you can, some people don't live near each other, but if you can do it in person, like try to have a little family meeting because then sometimes even emails can be read with a different tone. But I mean, sometimes email is the only option. You can also send an email of a video of you saying it. Like a hostage. Oh, true. That's cool. Can you hold up a newspaper? This is a day. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:43 All right. Yeah, try to take the emotion out of an emotional situation. Therefore, it can be communicated clearly. That's my advice. That's the mailbag. Close it up. We got your email and we know with Bobby's a mail bag. Yeah. Fun fact Friday time. My favorite segment because we learn stuff and sometimes we have some funny conversations.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Let's go. Friday. All right, I'll start and end. So Richard, it's the name, Richard Nixon. What's the nickname people call Richard? Dick. Correct. Do you know why Dick is short for Richard?
Starting point is 00:11:16 No idea. Okay, so Dick only became short for Richard because nicknames that rhymed were popular back in like the 1,200s. So people known as Rick... Dick. We're also known as Dick. So Richard is Rick, which is Dick. That's where that comes from.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Often wondered, never knew. What a fun fact. Okay. I'm not going to let you guys talk about it. a whole lot. I know what you're going to say it over and over again. So now I'm going to take it and pass it over to Amy. Okay, the shortest player in NFL history
Starting point is 00:11:43 5-1. Who is it? Yeah, who's that? Oh, Jack Shapiro. Must have been really old. Like what year? Well, he was born in 1907. He passed away. Why are you debating when you look at it?
Starting point is 00:11:58 I don't know. He was part of the NFL in 1929, but he's most famous for being the shortest player in NFL history at 5 feet 1 inches and the tallest NFL player ever is 7 feet must have been old too? Nah, he went 7 feet tall. I mean, you can't have them all.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Who's 7 feet tall, Amy? But like there were short play, Darren Sproles. Richard Sly. Dick Sly. Oh my goodness. That's the way to bring him back around. Oh, Dick Sly right there. All right, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:12:30 I had good news for Amy last week. This week I got bad news for Amy. 60% of second marriages end in divorce. Oh. Okay. Last week he goes, they got good news. It was that the average women get married about 3.1 years after getting divorced. And the bad news was.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Now is 60% of second marriages end in divorce. More end in divorce on second marriage than first. That's not a fun fact, man. What about third? Not fun at all, but interesting. You want third? You want third? 73% of third marriages end in divorce.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Oh, that's even worse. Like either maybe. Maybe you've got a pattern and you're not doing anything to resolve it or fight. You know? Like that was the thing with my dad. He was married four times and he just ignored a lot of things. Like he didn't ever want to, he would brush everything under the rug. And so therefore he didn't evolve in that way, evolve in relationships.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I felt that. He ran. I run. Eddie. The fingernails on your dominant hand grow faster than your other hand. Why is that? I don't know. Maybe more heart.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Maybe more blood is pumped to it? That's a great point. More blood's probably pumped to it because you use it more. That sounds about right. That's a weird response to, oh yeah, why is that? Eddie, no idea. Not sure, man, but it's a fun fact. Also, it takes six months for your nail to grow from the base to the tip.
Starting point is 00:13:48 If you go it all the way off? Yeah, or like it falls off like runners that do marathons. Their nails fall off? Six months. Yeah. Yeah, feet. Morgan. The first commercial passenger flight lasted 23 minutes.
Starting point is 00:13:59 It happened on January 1st, 1914 between St. Petersburg and Tampa, Florida. want to be on that one. No way. Even if it's a free first-class ticket, don't want to be on that. What do you sit on a cardboard anyway? I don't want to fly. I'll be the first one. When you open a new roller coaster, guess who's not going to be first? Not me. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:14:13 I got a couple more. Six flags got its name. Do you know why? Six flags over Texas. That's what it's called. Yeah. Why did it get its name? You just yelled the title. Yeah, but no one ever says over Texas.
Starting point is 00:14:25 All you did was yell the title. And Texas at one point was owned by six different countries. That's exactly it. Come on! You picked yourself up. I got to, dude. You picked yourself up. Hold on, hold on, on.
Starting point is 00:14:38 I thought Six Flags Over Texas was just the name of the one in Texas. I think it started in Texas. Six Flags got its name. Six Flags in Texas. Yes, it did. Six Flags got its name because of six different nations, Texas has been a part of. Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the Confederacy, and the United States. Boom.
Starting point is 00:14:55 You did not know that, but you found that, right? I got there. That's good. I respect it. Thank you. And finally, Ronald Reagan and Eddie have a lot in common. What? Oh, we're actors.
Starting point is 00:15:06 They're both idiots? Ronald Reagan was a lifeguard in high school and saved 77 people from drowning. Damn. 77, come on. I only save three. One's a double save, though. I didn't see any doubles on his record. Exactly, Ronald Reagan.
Starting point is 00:15:20 He's just to been, like, out in the ocean with lots of people everywhere. Or he just was a lifeguard for a long time. Dang, do, 77. Or maybe he, like, made people drown. Or they didn't have any records. He just made it up. That's probably it. Fun fact Friday.
Starting point is 00:15:34 It's time for the good news. Oh, it's Bobby. Tell me something good. After spending time in 25 foster homes, Luke Kissinger is 11 years old. He lives in Arkansas. He finally found his family. He entered foster care at age 6,
Starting point is 00:15:51 went to 24 different homes before his 25th, and that's when they said a connection was felt. May 14th, his adoption was finalized. His new parents were deeply moved. It's a great video, great story. He's going to get lucky number 25 on his jersey when he plays sports to represent his 20. What if some older kid already has and he can't get it? He's like, no, no, no, my foster number.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Sorry, chump. Are they retired the number? It's a great story. News Nation with the story. Eddie, you fostered. Yeah, foster two kids. And then you adopted those two kids. They are mine forever now.
Starting point is 00:16:22 It's awesome. When somebody goes to 24 to 25 homes, what's that situation? Well, different things, right? I mean, it could be the foster home that has the issue or the, you know, just... That's a lot of homes, right? Are some of them very, very, very temporary? Very temporary, sure. Yeah. And it could be, too, that parents, their biopparents are making progress.
Starting point is 00:16:40 So they go back and then they go back into the foster care. A lot of kids go in and out of the foster care system. So that's tough. But, man, they always say that consistency for a child that's going through that kind of trauma is what they need. They need to know that whatever they say is going to happen happens. And when you're being moved 25 times, there's no consistency. And it's really hard to recover from that. So I'm so glad he found.
Starting point is 00:17:03 a home. Well, congratulations. And big shout out to those parents. Cassie and Brad. Very cool. That's awesome. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clever Taylor the fourth. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you
Starting point is 00:17:44 behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment, and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like,
Starting point is 00:19:35 And dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
Starting point is 00:20:03 If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Starting point is 00:26:10 Like you got it in the bag? Come on. The category is Continants. Eddie, which continent includes the United Kingdom, France, and Germany? Europe. Correct. Morgan, this continent is very cold. No one lives there all the time. What's it called? Antarctica.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Correct. Eddie, which continent includes the Sahara Desert and the River Nile? Yes, that is Africa. Correct. Morgan, which continent has the same name as a country? What? As a, well... North America As a country Which continent has the same name as a country?
Starting point is 00:27:00 North America and we are America. America. Asia. What are the continents? North America, South America, Africa. Amy, stop. I'm coughing. You're not helping, Amy. Go ahead. No, that was a cough, literally. No, it wasn't. It was a laugh. It was a laugh. I was a laugh. It was a laugh cough. We heard a laugh cough. You were smiling. You were smiling. That was a laugh cough.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Because I thought I hit my cough button. Russia. I think. Is there a clock at all this? I'm enjoying the process. Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I'm just enjoying the process right now by being honest. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Morgan, I have to put you on the clock. Yeah, okay, what is the question again? The question is, which continent has the same name as a country? The United States of America, North America. North America. Boner. You've been booed. So North America and South America would be the same, right?
Starting point is 00:27:51 Yeah. And we're the United States of America, so not really America. Did she said it? She did say it. She acted like it was nothing. Yeah. It was the first thing she said. I saw you.
Starting point is 00:28:01 You were mumbling. You were like, okay. You're like Australia. I knew it. You were like, no chance is Australia, but I bet it's China. Well, when I did that old, I thought about it. Eddie, win her! This is Joe from Illinois.
Starting point is 00:28:16 I do believe Eddie needs to get punished for spoiling that the Disney princesses aren't really princesses. They're actors. He spoiled that for my daughter. and I think he needs to go on the wheel of punishment for us. Oh, that is all. I'm going to be careful with what I say here. What you're talking about? So everybody knows I'm going to be very gentle with my words.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Don't worry about what I say. I'm not going to hurt anything. I don't think that's a punishment. I think if we were to say other things, that would be a real thing, like certain things that we don't want to. Yes. That would be real.
Starting point is 00:28:46 But this, like if you watch Aladdin, that's a cartoon. Mm-hmm. And I'll tell you, like, even my kids don't think that. Yeah, I don't think. I think kids are smarter than you think they are. Yeah, Joe. Joe. Unless Joe, we render for you. That's what it really is. Yeah. This is Sheree from Wyoming. Hey, Amy. I just want to let you know how much I appreciate the morning corny. And I absolutely hate when I miss it. But I just want to let you know that sometimes I use
Starting point is 00:29:15 those jokes and I send them on to my kids and it gives them a laugh for the day. Keep up the good work. Love you, girl. Damn, she hates you with love you girl. That's cool. That's intimate. I like that. By the way, if you subscribe to our, you follow us on Instagram, Bobby Bone Show, we put the corny up there every day if you miss it or listen to the podcast. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Well, this is disturbing. A study found that some kids as young as 11, 12, 13, are using dating apps? What?
Starting point is 00:29:45 That's interesting. I never thought about that. Wow. You gave them the phone. Why not? Well, why not? Why not? There's nobody to match with.
Starting point is 00:29:51 And also, you've got to be using. You never know. You got to be using a fake catfish picture. No one's going to pick you? And no one's really corner the market on and follow me. You're a kid dating. Yeah, yeah. But not real dating, but like, because that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Can I understand that? Like, kid connects. Edit this out. We're going to, we're going to have to get on this. I'll talk to my app guy. We can't edit it out. We're literally doing it right now. And you don't have an app guy.
Starting point is 00:30:17 And you don't have a guy for this. And you don't want to run an app like this. I don't want to run it. What do you mean? Yeah, you don't want to run it. This is not a business. It's me going out. I can't believe there's not.
Starting point is 00:30:27 some app for like 16 year olds maybe. Well there's social media. I mean they use sometimes like they just use Snapchat. So you're saying if somebody asks you like what do you do like I run a kid in that? Nope I ain't doing that. No you just say dating out and then they say which one you have children for adolescents like that is not happening. How are they getting on it and using it? Does it say like who are they matching with?
Starting point is 00:30:48 Does this happen to you? This is why the story's up. Amy shows up there's an 11 year old in a bow tie. No but that would be terrifying. I mean I can't even imagine but Also, as a parent, freaking out thinking, like, oh, if my daughter and friends, like, made some profile. It's just another way for them to be exposed to really dangerous type people. I would think, though, that it would be more of, like, if you're, like, 13 or 14, no one's going to match with you on a normal app. It'd be more for, like, catfishing purposes, what isn't it? Yeah, listen, I don't know exactly why they're doing it.
Starting point is 00:31:17 And if I were a kid, I'd love to catfish adults. That'd be so fun. Preteens are on there, so. That's the version of prank calling for us now. The new version. It's catfishing. Yeah. I prank called like crazy.
Starting point is 00:31:26 I'd probably be catfishing if I was 12. Man, that'd be awesome. Don't do it. Just a story to remind parents to look at your kids' phones. Okay. Thank you. I download a new protective app. For you?
Starting point is 00:31:37 For your kids. It's called Circle. Parents want to know about it. But we have Life 360. We have this thing where last week my daughter turned off her location services for six hours. I do that sometimes with my wife, I turn mine off. You do? Yeah, because if I'm like at the golf courts or something.
Starting point is 00:31:54 and she, because there'll be like eight or nine hours, we're just living our own lives separately, but I don't want her to look over and see them at the golf course. I wonder to think I'm, like, working or something. Oh, yeah, yeah, smart. And if she asks, like, hey, what happened today? You know, I'll sometimes be honest. But sometimes I'll just go to the drive.
Starting point is 00:32:08 I'll just turn it off for a little bit. Yeah, okay, well, that's free and Caitlin deal with it. But as a parent, you do not want your kid turning off their location services. Also, I don't want to be called and said, hey, will you pick up this for dinner on the way? And I got to go for 30 minutes as we, like, call the order in. That's a real thing. That's a real thing.
Starting point is 00:32:22 So I turn off my for that too. Yeah. Anyway, good for you. Good job, Mom. Now I have Circle and she's not going to be able to do that anymore. Okay, so I saw this story. For now, yeah. Listen, I did not put this.
Starting point is 00:32:33 This story, like, we have tons of news stories that we like sift through. And sometimes people throw teases on top, whatever. I don't know who in this room did this, but it says good news for lunchbox at the top. And the story that I want to talk about is how Jenna Bush was talking about. Jenna Bush was talking about it on the Today Show with Hoga that, like, people are looking for Stuart Little type boyfriends. Like they want a mousy look. I've never seen Stuart Little
Starting point is 00:32:58 but this feels like it's mean and hilarious at the same time. Are you saying he looks mousy? The headline is, women are lusting. I'm not saying it. It says, ink all caps, good news for lunchbox. They wrote that on the Today Show website. Good news for lunchbox. Women are lusting after rodent-faced men
Starting point is 00:33:13 thanks to that news and die a movie. Who wrote that? That's mean. Highlights from the story. Sexy ratmen are the new hot- Rat is he rat, Matt? I would say, I don't know that you look nasty. Your hair kind of looks like a rat. He looks like five.
Starting point is 00:33:26 No, no, hold on. I think he looks like Doug funny. I'm going Doug funny. But I don't know that he looks so ratty. Like a rat. Some of the other days that I'm starting to look like messy. No, you look messy as the devil. You look dirty and messy.
Starting point is 00:33:43 I'm just saying, I've got comments on the issue. Your house is messy. Does anyone seen challengers the news and die a movie? Is that what you're talking? Is we moved on? No. this is the movie where the ratmen are gaining attention. I'm not calling them ratmen.
Starting point is 00:33:53 That's so mean. It is mean. I don't know what to say. The article is saying, thinner guys with angular features. Oh, they're like wanted. It also says in the story, there's a new thing called Rodent Handsome. But guys, Lunchbox says the women love him. So, like, maybe that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I've had sex appeal for a long time. Yeah, it's true. A lot of women thought I looked like Tom Brady when I had long hair. That's not true. So it's because of the movie and two guys that Zendaya's into in the movie or whatever, I haven't seen it. That's where she's a tennis coach? I don't know who put that mean headline on there, but...
Starting point is 00:34:24 Is anybody want to confess? Yeah, who did that, guys? Okay, it sounds like you now. It wasn't me. It was not me, I promise. It had to be scuba Steve then. Well, because I don't always know who has access to... Yeah, it had to be Scova Steve.
Starting point is 00:34:36 We'll move on. I'm not hearing any noise. Or Mike D. It's not Mike D. Scova, you're a jerk. All right, next up. Hey, lunchwalk, you are a good-looking mouse. I'm not worried about what you guys say.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Go ahead. So, when you think of Mexican cartels, you think of drugs, you don't really think of tortillas. But just like they did with the avocados, they've infiltrated the tortilla business. So it's impacting us. And when you're at the grocery store, you're going to see that tortillas are more expensive. And it's because of the cartel. And it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:35:05 This is what it takes for us to go on over to the cartel ourselves. Yeah, man. We need our tortillas. They extort money from a lot of businesses. And now they've targeted the tortilla industry in Mexico. And so. Is that what they did with bell peppers? Is that why I can't find bell peppers anywhere?
Starting point is 00:35:18 I know they did it with avocados and then they killed that guy that wanted to like save the monarch butterflies or something. They kill everybody. Who was messing with butterflies? You're really getting eddy. They were? I can't stop thinking about four chips equals one tortilla though. I thought about that every day since I was told that. That screws in my mind.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Are you eating less chips because of it? I have had some chips. Yeah, because if you have 20 chips, you're like, oh my gosh. I just had five tortillas. Oh, my God. Well, thank you, Amy. That's a little mean one here. That's a lunchbox jab.
Starting point is 00:35:49 It's a little mean. You could have that part out. It does kind of look like a rat, though. Look at that. Okay, I could have. But I don't think you... Godzo big nose over here talking. But also, it was saying it's a compliment.
Starting point is 00:35:58 I look like an elephant, great. But right now... What animal do you all look like, do you think? I think I look like a monkey. In my face. I think I have a monkey face. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:05 I can see that. Like, I sit in the mirror and I'm like, I look like a monkey. A monkey? Like a monkey face. In lunchbox is a mouse. Eddie looks like a possum. Eddie's a possum. in my locker and then I would pass him in the hall and he would go,
Starting point is 00:36:20 do this, do this. Do that. Yeah. I don't know. I see it. I don't see the face of the seal. Well, ever since then, I've been insecure that I'm a seal. I would say like a hedgehog.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Headhog. Oh, like, be gentle with me or I'll. No, you just look like a hedgehog. What's that? You got needles? Well, my son did hedgehog therapy and the point is like you're supposed to be calm because that hedgehog will pick up on your feelings. And if you're calm and holding them and nurturing them,
Starting point is 00:36:51 then they're little prickly, their little hairs will lay flat. But if you're stressed, they will pick up on it and their pokey thing's hair goes up. Good point. No, I just think you look like one. If we had to pick an animal. Somebody draw that out for us. Somebody do that. All the animals?
Starting point is 00:37:05 Yeah. We left four with our animals. Well, what do you really? I mean, I just said possum because they're kind of weird looking. What are they really? I like posse. What do you think Eddie looks like? Like, if you had to look, I don't know an animal with a big nose, balding head.
Starting point is 00:37:16 When I see Eddie, though, I think he looks like a Mexican Ernie from Burton Ernie. Okay. More than anything. I don't know. The animal. Mexican Ernie? I feel like if we were a cartoon and we were of characters, like I picture Eddie. I know, but, okay, but little cartoon drawings that we were all talking.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Like, I picture Eddie as an elephant. Elephant? I don't see an elephant. You're not big enough. Like, I have to be big. Like, one of my little skinny elephant? What do you say he was? A possum.
Starting point is 00:37:41 I would just, I'm good with that. He's kind of possum, guys. Possums are cute. Possums are gross. Awesome is a disgusting. All right. Thank you, Amy. Wrap it up.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of story. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. Do you remember any of your lunch ladies from school, like when you were in elementary school or junior high or your bus driver or anything like that?
Starting point is 00:38:05 Yeah, I remember bus. But our bus driver was also like assistant coaches or like other teachers. Like Mr. Moschinsky drove the bus for a while, but he just couldn't handle it, man. He was a good dude, quiet dude, but the kids ran him over. Oh, no. It's not good. So there's some people in those types of positions that just really bond with the school. It becomes their second family of sorts.
Starting point is 00:38:25 And that's what happened with Priscilla Bates. She is the lunch lady at Central Elementary School in Indiana. And she's planning her wedding, her big day, and decided to have it at the school after hours. The teachers, the parents, the kids, they were all a part of it. A fourth grader named Liam walked Miss Priscilla down the aisle. Wow. There was a balloon art that was created by the parent-teacher. your organization and they described it as an emotional and joyous event there were tears that shed
Starting point is 00:38:52 and students were cheering like we do like you take do you take this man to be oh yeah i'm looking at it it's awesome yeah and so she's saying i do but then the whole school is saying we accept you too like we do it's really cute i'm looking it's amazing i mean she looks so happy all these kids that's super cool that lunch ladies are still like a thing yeah yeah and i'm sure it's a job at times Yeah, we never even had a, we had to go to the lunch line. We never had like a buffet. You can never leave campus. You can never go and get, it was only one option.
Starting point is 00:39:22 No snack bar? Nope. And I was free lunch, which we had to go on a different line. Pork gets had to go on the free lunch line and get pointed at. And so sometimes I'd be like, I'm not going on the free lunch line today. That's tough. It sucked. But there's only one line.
Starting point is 00:39:33 And you know what? Square pizza, overrated. I said it. No. Yeah, a little overrated. It's so good. It's more nostalgic. It can be good, but a little overrated.
Starting point is 00:39:41 You know, all through high school, I had square pizza, Hawaiian Punch, and a Twix? all through high school. Like, how am I still alive? That's crazy. I'm surprised that organs haven't like eaten themselves at this point. Great story. Love it. That is what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:39:56 That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey,
